Mikey and the crew moved from disastrous Christmas presents and Eddie's humiliating poker exit into recurring bits such as Sean TV's review of Jail and the Lyrical Gangsta quiz. In Cheaters Hotel, Jesse tested Renee over her close friendship with Joey; she named Jesse for the fake romantic stay, but their on-air argument exposed his jealousy and her refusal to give up Joey. The hosts then advised 21-year-old Cody not to have a baby with his 19-year-old wife Jennifer until both wanted it and could afford it, while callers debated readiness, birth control and the realities of parenting. The strongest comedy came from the Drama Queen song built out of Sky's complaints, Zeth's terrified 'ham spring' confession about Ashley and Boston Rob turning loyalty to Mikey into a scheme to enter his will.
What happened, in order
Christmas Gift Disasters
Mikey, Sean and callers compared baffling presents including a Sergeant Slaughter monster-truck tape, a homemade spoon witch and a useless porcelain shoe.
Eddie Busts First
Eddie admitted he was the first player eliminated from the poker tournament he hosted, then reentered unofficially and recovered well enough to finish near the top 30.
Sean TV: Jail
Sean enthusiastically reviewed Jail, a Cops-style reality show whose clips featured an intoxicated couple and a wildly combative woman strapped into a restraint chair.
Lyrical Gangsta
The crew challenged listeners to complete famous song lyrics, with contestants alternately nailing Bon Jovi and Don McLean questions or collapsing on Pearl Jam, Carrie Underwood and Michael Jackson.
Cheaters Hotel
Jesse used the fake-hotel loyalty test on Renee over her friendship with Joey, and although she chose Jesse for the romantic stay, the confrontation exposed a relationship consumed by jealousy and mistrust.
Too Young for a Baby
Mikey and the crew urged 21-year-old Cody not to have a child with his 19-year-old wife Jennifer until both partners genuinely wanted one and could handle the financial and emotional burden.
Sky the Drama Queen
The show unveiled a parody song assembled from Sky's most dramatic complaints, turning her illness, sunburn, word flubs and helicopter demands into a listener favorite.
The Ham Spring Confession
Zeth nervously revealed that Ashley had called her pulled hamstring a 'ham spring,' prompting the crew to tease both his fear of her and her reputation as the show's mean senior.
Boston Rob Wants the Will
Boston Rob's exaggerated devotion to Mikey spiraled into a long riff about carrying his coffin, notarizing an autograph, inheriting his belongings and encouraging increasingly dangerous hobbies.

Welcome to the show. It is 6.02. San Diego's former fire chief told a congressional panel yesterday that all of the changes agreed to after the Cedar fires never happened. Wow, what a comeback. One and done. Ricky Williams out for the season with a torn chest muscle. Well, that didn't last long. Not at all. Well, welcome to the show. It is Wednesday, and we are almost to the end of November. We're almost to the end of the year. That's crazy! It's a very good disc. You're going to like it.
570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show about anything you want. You want to ask a question, you got a comment, you got legitimate questions. Anything you got, you can call about. 570-1053 is the number. So give us a call and tell us what's up with you. Christmas less than a month away. Shush. You know how we, now we as a show, there are seven people on the show. Quickly, I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Eddie's our producer, our sports guy. Sky does news. Sean is our sound effects guy. Ashley is our assistant producer. Boston Rob is a phone screener and a eater of weird foods on Thursdays. And Zeth does all things web, he does all things text, he does all things pictures, and he does all things do this. So what we did as a show was, the seven of us, see, every year we all stress out. Because none of us save money during the year to have a ton of money during Christmas to be able to buy presents. And so we stress out when Christmas rolls around and there's like four weeks left and we're like, oh my goodness, we have to buy for everybody.
So what we did this year is we drew names on the show, and whoever's name you got, you're buying for them, and that's it. You're not buying for anybody else. Now, I hope that we can augment that with this. Like, cards are acceptable, right? Like, cards. Like, you can get somebody a card. Yeah, I guess. I mean, we're going to send... Christmas cards out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I would like to get separate cards and stuff like that. We send out these mass ones as a couple, but I would like to get a card for people. And we had discussed it. We were like, hey, listen, no going off this list. And the reason is because people's feelings get hurt. Not only that, but then the person getting it, since we made the arrangement, then you feel like, then you've gone from doing something nice to now you've made someone feel bad. And so we're trying to avoid that this year. And we just did the same exact thing with my family. Yeah, because it's so lame. Every year on Thanksgiving, we draw names, and then it's like, what was the point of drawing names? Everybody gets everybody something. Oh, really? Yeah, so what was the point of drawing the names, you know? Yeah. But...
We're real serious about it this year. Who'd you get? We haven't done it. In fact, we were supposed to do it last night, and I forgot. Really? Yeah. In fact, when Eddie just said, who'd you get, I was like, oh, man, we forgot to do it last night. That was the whole point. We were supposed to draw last night. Now, I have a dilemma. Go ahead, Sean. Because, you know, I'm really terrible at getting gifts. Yes. So the last couple of years, I've made an effort. And tried to do things early. So I have all these gifts now. Yeah, and we knew that you had done that. I think you're exempt. Okay, awesome. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because they're wrapped in everything. No, I get that. Okay, thank you. There's so much going on. Let's dive in. 5701053. Call us up with whatever. Anything you got, you can call about right now. A lot of people wanting to hear Oh Holy Night. I don't believe that's true. Awesome! Oh, this is so pretty. I love that band. Immediately transported in front of my tree. Immediately. I'm sitting like an Indian style, like a little boy. My hands are crossed. And I feel like I'm waiting just for Santa when I hear that first bar.
Yeah. I mean, can't you almost, like, smell the apple cider and just, like, the pine needles of the tree? Yeah. I'm sipping eggnog in a smoking jacket. That's right. Nice. What? You've laid out the cookies and milk. That's right. For some reason, I'm Indian-style playing a sitar. That's weird. Well, that's your holiday tradition. Yeah, that's what we do. Hey guys, what do you hear? You hear that on the rooftop? I think someone's here. Who? Who is it? It's Santa Claus. It's too bad that San Diego doesn't have a speaker system throughout
I need a shower. She's not saying that in terms of the song. She's just saying it in general. I couldn't agree more. Those pets are barking. Oh, my God, are they? P1 Caesar. Good morning, Mikey Show. What's up? I had a question. I was wondering what was, like, the suckiest Christmas present you guys ever received. I can tell you, but I don't want the person who might be out in the audience listening. You know what I mean? And that would be... Because, well, I'm, like, 6'5", and I still get presents that's, like, medium-sized T-shirts.
I'm going to tell you, it wasn't the suckiest. It was the, like, wackiest. It was the wackiest gift I ever got for Christmas. One Christmas, my brother gave me, I won't say which brother, but one Christmas, my brother gave me a video cassette of Sergeant Slaughter. like doing uh his greatest hits well no no it wasn't even that no it was the strangest thing dude like it was two things that didn't match like somehow oh there was like what are those what's that bigfoot yeah monster truck monster trucks yeah oh yeah okay well somehow monster trucks and sergeant slaughter a professional wrestler they hooked up in something and so sergeant slaughter this professional wrestler at the time
was hosting, like, monster trucks on a video cassette. And you bought it if you liked monster trucks. And it was kind of like, oh, cool, and look who's hosting it, Sergeant Slaughter. Bonus. Yeah, and these were two things that I was not interested in, monster trucks or Sergeant Slaughter. It's garbage! And so that was one of the wackier Christmas gifts I received. Eddie, what about you? Oh, man. I know I've had some stinkers in the past. I can't think of one right now. I'm going to have to think about it. But I know I've got some one where I opened it and went, whoa. Any of you guys got one or you got to think about it? Anything come to mind immediately? I got one. What, Sean? My grandmother, she's like, she thinks she has to make the gifts, you know? She's like into crafts or whatever. So she made this stupid, stupid thing called a spoon witch. What is that? Dude, it's so dumb. You take a wooden spoon and you turn it upside down and the spoon is like the head, you know? That's cool. And then the shaft is like the body and then you use like pantyhose and you stuff it with cotton and you make the body out of it. But you put these like two giant boobs on it. Yeah. And I'm like, I open it. I'm looking at it. I'm going, well, what am I? It's a decoration. I'm 30 years old. Like, what am I? I'm a guy. What am I going to do with this? Where would you put it, Skye?
Well, it would be in the holiday box and you would take it out at Halloween time and use it as a decoration around the house. A guy. You don't like to decorate for the holidays if you're a guy? Well, I might, but I don't know with a spoon, witch. You don't get it. You don't. Yeah, I one time got a little, like, porcelain shoe thing. Porcelain shoe? I don't even know what it's for, man. What? But, you know, it's like, yeah, a family member, an older family member, and it was just this cute little wrap box, and I opened it, and it's like a white little porcelain boot shoe. And I have, I don't. What did you do with it? I stuck it in. You re-gifted it? No. Well, no. Went to the re-gift closet? No, because who could I even re-gift that to? I mean. Somebody that's really into porcelain boots, of course. Somebody that collects boots. I didn't know if you're supposed to put like little candies in it or maybe a very small flower or maybe it just sits there. But I shoved it in the back of a cabinet and there it stays. Wow. Yeah. Anybody else? P1 Paparazzi is on the line. And Eddie, that was the quickest one. That was the quickest one you've ever done. Like it was barely out of my mouth. I mean, every day. It was barely out of my mouth. The words paparazzi and your face changed. That was the quickest one.
That may have broke the Eddie Book of World Records. Man, Eddie happened. Barazzi is somebody that, I'll be honest with you, you know, even though over the years he's done some things that are questionable in terms of appropriateness. Idiot. I like him. I like paparazzi. Eddie, on the other hand, is not that big of a fan. Oh, wow, Eddie. Eddie just smiled and signaled, thumbs down. Double thumbs down. Wow. Gene Siskel just stuck his arm in the room and gave him thumbs down. He's not even here anymore. So weird. So weird. Paparazzi, what is going on? I wanted to ask two questions about the census, PD. You want to ask two questions about the... Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Paparazzi, you're cutting out. You're cutting out. The first one is, do you have a title for it? Two questions about the best of CD. Okay, okay. Number one, do we have a title yet? And number two... And number two, did you by chance get the little episodes you guys had when you were doing Dumb Chick Challenge and you called B-Rock a cheater? Did you get that on there? No, that is not on the disc. And here's what's tough.
I'm not going to give you the title, even though I think I may have already popped the title out there at one point. I'm not going to give the title right now because we're going to have like an official thing where we say, here's when the CD goes on sale. Here's where you can get it. We're going to do all that stuff. And I want to kind of build up and have it be kind of a big thing. But no, that didn't make the best of CD. And it's tough because there's so many things that could. And you're limited to about 74 minutes. And I wanted to be able to price the CD where it's extremely reasonable. This year I think the CD is $9.99. Wow. Yeah, it's like $9.99. That's cool. Every cent of the proceeds is going to an incredible cause that I'm going to tell you about when we announce it. And so it's going to be a really incredible thing. But no, that didn't make it on there, paparazzi. I wish it had. I wish we could put out a quadruple CD. But unfortunately, it's just one. I think that bit alone would probably take up more than half a CD already, you know? That's the problem, is that the bits that we do have on there, a lot of them are like 30 minutes long. We had to edit them. You guys know us. You know that everything we do takes a half an hour. And so to make a best-of CD...
that is 70 minutes long and still gives you 10 or 12 bits, like, it's tough. It's not easy. It's impossible! But I promise you, you will love the CD this year. It's really good. You're going to really love it. I'm looking forward to the announcement. All right, man, thanks. Thanks, man. Let's see. P1 number three is on the line. Hello, Mikey. What's going on? Well... Speaking of the best of, I know that this probably will never make it. That's why I'm requesting it. I know that you brought back the Old Holy Night that you were playing the other day, and that cracked me up. But one thing that really, really was getting me really good, I remember the first 28-hour show when you were playing the on-air checks, and I got to hear Sky doing on-air checks at our old radio station. Very random. Eddie's was okay at Star, but just Star going, hey, and just Oh, I know it. What we did was, what he's referring to, it's very random. The first 28-hour show that we did here at Rock 105, we played old air checks of when we were on other radio stations from years ago. And so you actually got to hear Sky doing an air shift. Yeah. It was good. What was it, Sky? On a cassette tape? Is that the deal?
It could be on CD. I don't know. I wonder if we have it around here. I hope not. It's not necessary. Do you really not know where that is at this moment right now? I suspect I know where it is. Where do you think it is? In this box at my house of my rock memorabilia. We should look for that. No, we really shouldn't. Keep it forever. That's a good one. We're good. Thank you. That's a good one. I'll pass. P1 Lisa. Hi. What's up? I have a really weird Christmas gift that I used to get from my grandmother. She would order from these magazines, like these novelty magazines that old people sometimes order from, and she'd order all this stuff for herself, and she'd get these free gifts like binoculars or little cheapo radios and stuff like that, and she'd wrap them up all nice, and that was our Christmas present. Really? Yeah. Now, wait a minute. Now, was this a case where grandma really didn't have any money and was on a limited budget or no? No, no. That was just, she would like blow all her money on the stuff that she didn't like want or need, like stuff like the porcelain shoe or whatever. Like she would just order random stuff. And as her free gift, you know, if you order a certain amount of stuff and you get, you spend a certain amount of money. Yeah. Yeah. She would.
Get the free gifts and wrap those up and give those to us for our Christmas presents. Sweet. Sweet. Thank you. It's always Grandma. Oh, Grandma and my wife. What do you mean? My wife does that. She gets these novelty little catalogs, knick-knack things. Yeah. And buys stuff out of them all the time. Right. And I actually feel bad about this. But the other day, she was saying she wanted to buy it. somebody, I forget who it was in our family, something out of this magazine. And I told her, babe, why do you buy stuff from those magazines? They're crap. And I caught myself and I went, oh no. And I could see the hurt in her face. Like, what? They're crap? And I was like, babe, you can't buy stuff out of it. I mean, it costs like five bucks. Like, what's an example?
Like a snowman cookie tray that's made out of basically aluminum. It's so cheapo. So everything in there is very inexpensive. Yeah, very inexpensive. Very cheaply made. Probably sweatshops in Taiwan. And she likes that stuff, but it's garbage. I finally just snapped. I'm like, you can't buy that thing from there. Oh, that's awesome, man. Tough love it is. Tough love. Felt bad about that one. Okay. Well, here's what's happening in the world, you guys. A couple big things. One is there's this thing called a red flag warning today until 6 o'clock tonight, which means we're just on kind of an alert situation for fires. Right. Right. So, you know, be careful. I mean, you should always be careful when using power tools or, you know, mowing your lawn or making a fire in the fireplace or having a barbecue outside. But be extra careful. We do have some winds, some Santa Ana type winds. They're not going to be anything close to what we experienced last month. But, you know, definitely be careful. And like Mikey said, you know, red flag warning till six o'clock today. Then tonight at five o'clock Pacific.
The GOP candidates are going to be having a debate on CNN. And it's kind of trippy. You can watch it on YouTube, which I guess the Democrats did that too. So you can watch it on YouTube. And it's taking place in Florida. Yeah, and the questions submitted for the debate are from YouTube. You know, so little videos of people and their questions that were submitted onto YouTube. And, you know, the difference with the Republican race is it's pretty much up for grabs right now. They say, you know, for the nation, Rudy Giuliani is leading in the polls. But if you look at the early primary states, Mitt Romney is actually leading. And Mike Huckabee is right on his tail. Yeah, in Iowa. Huckabee's coming up there. Yeah, and those early states determine a lot. It was funny because I was reading that Giuliani is really, really rooting for Mike Huckabee because he doesn't want to face off with Mitt Romney, and he thinks that if Huckabee wins Iowa, that Huckabee won't have the strength to win everywhere else. So come on, Huckabee. That's what Giuliani's doing. That's funny. Okay, so last night,
This was what happened. Oh, I had dinner with my parents last night. And they could not wait for Dancing with the Stars to begin. Oh, they couldn't wait. They could not wait. Cut one. Mel and Max. Elio and Julianne. After ten weeks of competition, the winners and new champions of Dancing with the Stars are... Is that who you wanted, Eddie? I don't care less. You don't care? No. You didn't have a favorite? Not really. Not since Jerry Rice was on there or what? I thought that that's the deal, though. I thought with Dancing with the Stars, you pick your horse and you root for someone. I don't. You weren't rooting for anybody? Not really. I could care less. I didn't want Marie Osmond to win because she is... Drama mama? You're drunk. Sky. What? Did you like someone?
To be honest with you, I really didn't, like, I've been a faithful watcher, and I really didn't watch much this season at all. Yeah. Yeah. So, I really, you know, wasn't invested in it, but... Yeah, I didn't watch it. I'll tell you this, though. My mom and dad, specifically my dad, talking about Dancing with the Stars is not a fun thing. Like, this conversation we're having is not meant for, like, amusement or fun, and there's nothing to joke around about. He's serious about... Well, we saw how seriously he took American Idol. It's the same thing, I'm sure. He's a little bit more serious about Dancing with the Stars. He's open to discussion with American Idol. He'll hear what you have to say about American Idol. When it comes to Dancing with the Stars, he's got very strong opinions. He was so upset. Get this Marie Osmond out of here. Wow. He does not like Marie Osmond. I wanted Marie Osmond out of there. I said, hey, Dad, did you hear that one of those dancers on Dancing with the Stars, that this guy Maxim, he came out and said that she didn't have any right to be there. And oh, he is right, Mike. He is right. She didn't. She is terrible. She is terrible. So who is he rooting for?
I think he was rooting for this guy, Elio, but I was knee-deep in pot roast last night and not really paying as close attention as I should. But he was very opinionated about it. And now TMZ is saying that Marie Osmond faked fainting on Dancing with the Stars. No way. It was like staged. How would they know that? Cut 17. Marie's geriatric gyrations aren't news. This is... Marie Osmond's got a new man in her life. Dance partner, Jonathan? No, don't think she's his type. Brigham Young? Yes, but it's not that type of relationship. The mystery man? TMZ spies on the set say Marie constantly keeps a writer just off camera to punch up her witty and spontaneous sound bites. No, you don't plan those things. In fact, sources say that Marie's writer was right there during Marie's famous fainting spell. Feeding her lines. And the whole thing may have been staged. Of the samba. We're floor two. Is Marie... Come here. And a little bit conniving? Manipulating the heartstrings of America to keep her in the competition? And speaking of mystery men, one of our moles tells us Marie is seriously on the hunt for a new guy and is looking for people to hook her up. Come on, guys. Bring it on. Successful is part of the job requirement. Note.
Marie's representatives gave a statement to TMZ denying both that she had a writer and that she's looking for a man. I wonder who wrote that statement. Eddie, what do you think about Marie Osmond? Well, first of all, I've had my run-ins with Marie before. You have? Yes. Really? I didn't know this. Oh, really? I thought I told you this before. Oh, what is this? When I worked at another radio station, which was a little bit less cool, we had Donnie Marie Osmond in the studio. Right. And we were interviewing them. And at one point, she brought up her doll collection, her big doll thing. And I made, you know me, I made this stupid joke where I said something like, oh, really, Marie? I collect dolls as well. And she got really excited. I was like, oh, really? That's awesome. And I said, well, actually, Marie, they're voodoo dolls. And her face changed and immediately started to scold me on the air about like, You know, that's not funny. In fact, there's a lot of men that do collect dolls and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and went after me. And Donnie actually came to my rescue and was like, he was making a joke, Marie. It's okay. And I was like, oh, thank you. I've never loved Donnie Osmond more in my life. So I already think she's a bit of a, you know. Yeah, I have to disagree with Marie Osmond. I think that that is very funny. I thought it was, you know. And so I don't like her already.
And then if you watch this Dancing with the Stars, you could see how just arrogant and like the judges would critique her and she'd be like, whatever. You know, I mean, she's nasty. My dad hates her. And then the last, the finale, she does this horrendous dance. In fact, as a living doll for her fans. For her fans. Did she put like doll makeup on? Yeah. And did this whole routine where she didn't even really dance. And the judges were like, That wasn't really a dance. And she's like, why would I dance if I don't have to? Because the finale thing, I guess, didn't really matter at that point or something. I don't know. She made that comment, though, and I'm like, you're on a dancing show. What do you mean? I've said this before that it's always been very interesting to me how the participants, you know, they don't win. a ton of money or anything like that, it's kind of the bragging rights, and they get real serious about it. They're not messing around. They really want to win that thing. Okay, so the GOP thing tonight, this deal with Dancing with the Stars was announced last night. The cover of the UT today is Israelis and Palestinians shaking hands. Whoa. Wow. Like, whoa. Yeah. Ashley, your thoughts. No.
I think that that's great. That's great, right? I was watching it on the news last night. Right. Now, what do you think will happen? Do you think that they will actually be able to come to any sort of agreement? Well, I just don't really know that much about it. Really? I would hope so. I... went to you specifically because I didn't think that you knew too much about it and I wanted to gauge where you are with this. This is a big deal. Right. Palestinians and the Israelis. Yeah, I was watching it last night. They hate each other. It's literally peace in the Middle East. Yeah. That's right. They hate each other. Oh, yeah. The Palestinians are saying, here's what the Palestinians say. They go, hey, Israel. All that stuff you call Israel, that's not Israel. That's ours. That stuff should be called Palestine. Well, it was at one point. Yeah. And the Israelis are going, well, that's great. But guess what? We're pretty awesome. And we have the support of America. Exact quote. Yeah. We're pretty awesome. We have the support. We got the support of America. We have like a really killer army and our own version of the CIA and a really awesome government. And we got weapons. And we don't care what you think or want. And so the Palestinians, their response to that is very emotional.
And they go, well, if that's the way you want to play, why don't we start blowing some things up? You know, like, you know, why don't we start going into your beautiful cafes with people that have tons of TNT strapped them and just blow the place up? And that's what we've been seeing now for years and years and years. Well, they're trying to work it out. And they're trying to work it out in America. They're here in America. meeting with the president and trying to work it out. Where are we now with this? What's going on? Because it started yesterday. They started to make nice. Right. Well, actual negotiations will start next month when they actually start addressing those tough issues that you were bringing up, like where the borders are and who has the rights to stuff. What'd they do yesterday? They basically agreed to start talking about it. Oh. And so they haven't even touched on the stuff that they've been arguing about forever. Pat and Oscars cater it and have food there for everybody. I hope so. Breadsticks. So fingers crossed, everyone. Greek salad and the whole thing. Yeah. Eddie, you don't eat the salad, right? I love the Greek salad. Yeah, I know. But at Pat and Oscars, they got the big rings of... It's on top.
So you pick the bell peppers off. Immediately throw that thing away. It does not soil. Like, you don't get the flavor in there? Not really. It's not that bad. And I also take the beet off. Really? Yeah, they have one beet on there. I'll take your beets. Oh, it's yours. Which stains the lettuce. And you're like, ew, I don't want that red lettuce now. Thank you. So you gotta get rid of that. Here's what we got. Good point, Eddie. Thank you. Our sound effects guy, Sean, watches everything. Sean! Yes. And that's not a blanket statement. That's an actual... Very accurate statement. He watches everything. And so we do a segment called Sean TV where he introduces us with audio to a television program most of you have never heard of. Each week he does this. Like, Sean, what are some of the ones that you've done so far? We did I Love New York 2. Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Thank you, Sean.
I only say that because I know that drove Sean crazy inside his head. He's like, I'm trying to answer the question. We have a connection with these shows because I watch them all. Sean, is that true? Wait, wait, wait. Is that true? Do you and Ashley have a bond because of the shows that you watch and that she has in common with you? Do you guys have a bond over that? Ashley, Sean says negative. Sean says that is not true. Were you aware that Sean was not on board with your thought process? Well, I just think that he's playing both sides now because we both know behind closed doors we have conversations about these shows. Wow. And we discuss these shows. Sean, is that true? We have discussed one show. That is true. Off the air? Yeah, yeah. Like the other day when we had our meeting, we shared a couple thoughts. Okay, well then maybe it's accurate for her to assume that you guys have made a bond over it. Thank you. Well, she can assume that. Okay. So what other shows? I Love New York 2. We did America's Most Smartest Model. This is a good one. We did Keeping Up with the Kardashians. So these are all TV shows that a lot of us haven't heard of. But Sean is really into.
and he will tell us about the new show each week and give us some audio to it. It's pretty interesting. We will be playing Lyrical Gangsta again today, which is fun. Very, very fun. Something called Cheaters Hotel is on the show today. Oh, goodness. Okay. Where people write us and let us know that they think that their husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating, and we find out if they are. Got a weird email from a wife who will not let her husband see her naked. Never has. We still have that email from that gal that wrote us that said that if you are a woman and you're 25 years old and you have a tongue piercing, you are, quote, a loser. And we got a lot of good stuff today. So 570-1053 is the phone number. Pablo Francisco in the stand-up spotlight. Carson Daly will be the first late-night host to cross the writer's picket line. Padres and pitcher Doug Brokales part ways he signs with the Houston Astros. There are so many Charger players that show up to this thing. Last year, everybody was there. LT, Donnie Edwards, you name it, and they were out there. Sean Phillips was out there. Of course, Merriman's out there. I mean, they're all out there. Plus, they have these silent auctions with memorabilia that you wouldn't believe. I mean, it's a great event. Do you know what this money goes to? It's Sean's Foundation. Okay. Cool. General admission tickets are available for $100 and include drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if you want to purchase tickets for more information, go to rock1053.com and then just type in the keyword lights on. Keywords lights on. And it'll get you more information about it. That should be, by the way, your and B-Rob's next challenge. You guys should be bowling. I was thinking about it the other day. I was thinking about it the other day and now that I just saw that, I'm like, yeah, that's it. Now, this is what you guys have done, if you agree to it. Well, we haven't had one since that debacle of a volleyball match that happened. And I would love to get my hands on that punk again.
No offense, Rob. Now, what have we done so far? We did a racing challenge on tricycles, which you handily defeated, Boston Rob. The only reason it was close is because when you got close to Eddie, you grabbed onto his shirt and tried to slow him down. It's called drafting. So there was that one. Then there was the home run challenge, right? That was the home run derby, yes. And you won that handily. Slam dunk competition. Which wasn't even a contest. That was a good contest. Eddie won the slam dunk contest. Very close second. And then we did the volleyball challenge and Rob did win that one. My partner didn't show up is what happened. You don't remember that? Where you played with a professional volleyball player and I didn't? Well, Eddie had Sky and Ashley. You had a professional volleyball player. Right. And we killed it. We basically did all the work.
Of course. For your team. Oh, whatever. So now. Excuses. Excuses. Okay. We got to get another one going. Yeah, let's do it. Bowling? You want to do bowling? I would love to do bowling. I'm a good bowling ball. That's how I'm fun. I will absolutely destroy raw ball. I don't bowl a lick, but I'm riding high on this little thing called momentum. You might have heard of it. You might have heard of it. Coming off that huge last win. Why don't you go to a bowling alley or something and try to figure it out? Because, you know, otherwise what you're going to do is go in there and gutter ball every, you know, every ball. And then we'll hear excuses. I don't want any excuses out of you. I'm pretty good at, like, the video bowling. I can't imagine it being much, much different. It's exactly the same, buddy. Well, good luck. And there's no way to make Eddie digress in his progress that he has and how he knows, you know, a guy knows how to bowl. What do you want? I was in a league. Really? For a little while, I was in a league. Wow. Oh, hey, hotshot. Yeah, that's right, buddy. Kingpin. Oh, wow. What are you going to do, right? Rob, you have no chance. I don't know. We should probably do something. I've played enough video game bowling to know you just aim and toss that ball. That's it. See, we could consider doing something else. It's just that the bowling seems like fun. I would love to do it. I mean, it's an easy win for me. Another notch on my belt. All right.
Come on, Rob. Figure it out. Get into a bowling alley and practice a little bit. Seriously. I'll set up some stuff at my house. Oh, my God. When do you want to do it? I don't know. Let's do it soon. Okay. When can we do it? Well, we'll have to get a bowling alley and all that stuff, so maybe next week. Let's do it next week. Okay. Let's figure out the details and get it done next week. Awesome. Oh, I can't wait to see Boston Rob. You're going to be surprised. Really? How could I do? Can't wait to be surprised. He doesn't have anything to base it on. He's just saying, hey, you'll be surprised. Oh, good. Okay. Practice in my hallway this week. Okay. That sounds fun. Take it seriously. Don't act like that. I hate that. It's like not even a competition. Yeah. All right. Dude, you've seen me at Dave and Buster's play that video game bowling, and I almost bowled a 300. No, you didn't. Yeah, I did. No, you didn't. I did, dude. No, you didn't. I crushed you in that video game bowling. You played very well, but you did almost bowl a 300. Yes, I did. Okay. Well, if you do well in that, Rob, I'm sure you'll do just fine. Man. Yeah.
Let's see. 570-1053 is a phone number. You can call about whatever you want. I'm extending it. Let's see. A little bit later, we're going to be doing Sean TV. In fact, it's coming up next. And Lyrical Gangsta next hour. Cheaters Hotel is on the show today. I'm trying to get confirmation from my wife if I could talk about something. But she's got to wake up and read the email. I think she is awake. But I just want to find out if we can talk about it. If we can. I didn't even mention it to you guys. Oh, no. Oh, my. Oh, no. It was on Thanksgiving. It's a funny story, but I don't know. Maybe she thinks that it'll hurt feelings or something. I don't know. The Hulk Hogan divorce, by the way, they are saying is to avoid a lawsuit because, you know, how his kid got in that crash, the DUI? Well, they're expecting a lawsuit to come of it and to protect their assets. Some people are saying. Yeah.
that maybe that's the reason they're getting a divorce is because if you divide the assets, you can keep them safer. Yeah. That's weird. Because it's pretty clear that, you know, according to the 911 calls that we actually heard yesterday, that, you know, this was a street racing situation and the Hogan's son, Nick, is 17 years old, making him a minor, making, you know, his parents can be responsible for his actions and financially responsible if this family decides to file a lawsuit. That could be a lot of money. I watched a lot of stuff yesterday on Sean Taylor, the guy that was shot and killed from the Washington Redskins. Did you too, Eddie? Yeah. It's an interesting case, man. I can't wait to get more details because it gets... I don't know, man. The more I think about it, the more I don't think that this was just a random act. No, there's no way. I mean, you know, the fact that somebody broke in his house eight days prior, the fact that they didn't... seemed like they were stealing anything. They went upstairs. Sean had locked the door. They kicked the door open and shot him. Didn't shoot his girlfriend. I mean, it's weird. And you're just not hearing any sort of statements from her. Like, you're just not hearing that she's saying anything. So, it's just weird, right? And it's just weird. Sean had a machete, which is weird.
There's so many details to this story that I find strange. P1 Brandon. Hey, what's happening, guys? Just curious how Eddie did that poker tournament yesterday. Oh, dude. Oh, yeah. I forgot about the poker tournament. Oh, man. It was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. Oh, come on. It really was. It really was. No. Oh. I was the first out of the entire tournament. No, you were not. That's not possible. But it was a bad beat. I mean, I got to give you that. It was a really bad beat. But, you know, I mean, that's poker. And so, you know, I was first out. And then the tournament director says, you know, A, do we want Eddie to keep playing? And, you know, it was a lot of P1s there. So, you know, most of the people were cheering. Yeah, yeah, let him keep playing. So there was a couple spots open. From people that didn't, I guess, show up or whatever. So they put me back on the tables. And I ended up finishing in the top 30. For real? I would have, at least. But I wasn't eligible. What do you mean? Well, they said in the beginning that I'm not eligible to win. Because the top 30 move on to the finals on Friday. And they said, well, if you're in the top 30, then...
the 31st guy will go. So you're not playing for someone? No. There was a bounty for you? Right. Oh, okay. It's too bad you couldn't be playing for someone. Yeah. Oh, I would have loved it. Oh, dude. I was playing great, you know, once I got rid of that humiliation of being first out of the tournament that I was there hosting. Oh, man. You know, I was playing great, and I had a bunch of chips, and then, you know, towards the end, I'm like, well, I can't win, so I started just, you know, giving my chips away. Skye, you were there? Yeah, I went to hang out, you know, because we live in Escondido. So, you know, we go to Harrah's often. And it was so funny because they would, like, get breaks during the tournament. And P1s would run up to me in the casino and be like, did you hear? Eddie was first out. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You've got to rip him on the air. But then when I heard what the hand was, I was like, dude, anyone would have done. I would have done the same thing Eddie did, you know. So it was a bad beat. But the P1s, you know, wanted to come and tattle to me right away. It was funny. And then, you know, it was awful. because there was some people there that just wanted to play in the tournament that had no idea who I was, and I could hear rumblings like, oh, that's the DJ. I don't think he knows how to play. No. And I'm just like, oh, whatever. I was so angry. Now, Eddie is the best poker player I know, so I know that going out, that must have been. It's humiliating. Well, he taught all of us how to play. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember learning how to play.
camping with you. It was back when I still drank. So what I remember about it is that I would fold every hand. I did that about two years of folding up every hand. Alright, this is what we're going to do. We're going to do a quick time out. When we come back, we're going to do Sean TV, who knows what the show is going to be this week that Sean will introduce us to. But he watches everything and he reviews a show we've never heard of with audio. So we're going to do that when we come back. Also, Is Lindsay drinking again? You gotta wonder why I'm even asking, right? Like, why is the question coming up? Details next. It's Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. I'm thinking of popping the question over the holidays, Tom. Okay. But it's kind of a stressful time of year to be taking the big step. Well, maybe so, Steve, but...

Not all milk in California is actually from California. The only way to know for sure is if it has the real California milk seal. Now, what percentage of California's milk comes from out of state? I'm going with my gut. I'm saying 0% comes from out of state.

To ensure that Tecate Light remains true to its Mexican cerveza roots, we will not refer to Tecate Light as light b****. We feel its Mexican flavor and attitude are much too bold to be referred to as an ordinary light b****. In fact, to our censors, b**** is a four-letter word. They didn't even allow b**** to be mentioned in the same commercial as Tecate Light. Not even to explain the difference between and cerveza. So as you can hear, all references to have been censored for your protection in order to avoid any unintended association between light and Tecate light cerveza. Used to be my favorite genre of film. Eddie. I have a very big real fear of throwing up. Sky. I was just thinking in my head, I'm Sean. I really like going to the doctor's office. Boston Rob. Even though I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. And Ashley. I am the really, really healthy eater. The Mikey Show's on. 105.3. Boys to Men cover this on their new album. They cover easy like Sunday morning. Oh, that's kind of so good. Oh, dude, it's good. You know what it is? It's like butter on a piece of warm French bread is what it is. Or maybe dark rice.
I get it, Joe. It is 7-0-3. Rapper Usher is a daddy. His wife gave birth to a baby boy Monday night. While the mighty Patriots train takes a little bit of a hit, they lose linebacker Roosevelt Colvin for the entire season. Yeah, that's a pretty big hit. Before we went to break, I said, is Lindsey drinking again? According to who, Sky? Her friends? Yes. According to her friends, drinking was not the problem. Drugs were the issue. And so she's drinking in moderation. You know, just every once in a while. Because really that wasn't the issue. It was drugs. And so she's being a responsible drinker. And drinking like a gentlewoman.
You know, if she goes out to dinner and is having some sort of a fish dish, sometimes a nice pairing is a Chardonnay. Oh, that's true. I'm drunk. So that will be, you know, it'll be appropriate. Right. And like, let's say that she's gone to a fine steakhouse and she's having a wonderful steak. Sometimes a good pairing is a good Cabernet or a Shiraz or a Merlot. I'm drunk. Maybe rum balls for the holidays. And what her friends are saying is, you know, she obviously, when it comes to alcohol, she knows when to say when. Yes. But, you know, when it comes to cocaine, that is a problem. And it has proven to be a problem for her in the past. And so that's very sad news. That's very sad news. Not according to her ends. That's all good. Well, the one thing that you can take solace in is that her friends are experts. Sounds like Ashley's friends. Oh. Oh.
Ashley, are your friends like that? No. Some of them were. They didn't support you going into rehab and stuff. You don't still hang out with those friends, do you? Yeah, those people aren't my friends anymore. Yeah, Lindsay, if Lindsay has the same partying buddies that she used to have, oh my goodness. Like, I can't even imagine it. Can you imagine her still hanging out with the same cokey friends? Or if she got out and she was like, I'm not going to hang out with the cokey friends. I'm only going to hang out with the friends that drank. Good call. You know, that would be really bad. So what's the deal, Scott? This is what her friends are saying? Yeah, yeah. Her friends have allegedly told the New York Daily News that she's been drinking a little bit. She's been in New York for the week, and she's had a few drinks, but in moderation. I'm drunk. Her real problem was drugs, not alcohol. Quote, in the past, it wasn't the drinking that was the problem. It was the heavy drug use. As long as she isn't doing drugs, she's okay. Now, what's crazy is that those friends that said that, they believe.
that that that they're saying something good yeah and that like lindsey would be cool with that and they're defending their friend they're defending their friend and they're saying something that would be like once the reporter walked away they were like that was a close one right you know glad i said what i said though now i can tell you as a recovering alcoholic that's the wrong thing to do yeah You know what I mean? Once you're an addict, isn't it like kind of those addictive things you can't do? Eddie, you are correct. Ashley went through her thing too. Ashley's been out. I'm scared for her. How long have you been sober? Nine months on the 19th. Look at you, man. Wow. That's so cool. I'm scared for Lindsay because. The drinking is, every time that she got caught with Coke, I'm pretty sure that alcohol was in her system too. It was always involved. That affects her judgment, which would then make her be like, oh, what's one line? That's the problem. That makes me nervous. Well, yeah, we know what happens when we drink. It's called cross addiction. That's right. But the thing is, is that all of us, whether or not you have an issue with alcohol or you don't, all of us know that when we have a couple of drinks,
You know, see you later inhibitions. Yeah, your judgment's impaired. Your judgment. Go about the window. Yeah, and that's everybody. That's not just people with issues. Right. Why don't we try this then? Sean likes watching his TV. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Whatever Sean likes, well, you know that it might be not as gay as something. Watch my Mikey when he's watching. You know I'm standing up. I forgot about that line. Sean's TV. And it's Sean. Sean TV is a segment that we do where Sean tells us about a show we're unaware of. Most of us, anyway. And it's a show that's usually not highly rated, but doesn't mean that it isn't a good show. Doesn't mean it isn't a good show. Ouch! Depends what you mean by highly rated. Well, what I mean by highly rated is shows that are highly rated. Well, there are different categories and levels of that, Mikey.
As we will soon find out, what is your show today that you're going to be telling us about? Today we've got a really great show. It just started in September and already it has taken the cable world by storm. Is that right? Yes. What is it called? The show is called Jail. What? Yes. I haven't heard of it one time ever. Love this show. Sean says it's taken the cable world by storm. By storm. I've never heard of it one time. What network, Sean? Well, it started out on the Fox reality channel. Usually you can find it on your MyTV network affiliate, which is 13 in San Diego. I see. Is this something that if we want to find it, the best way to do it is to utilize this search feature of our remote control? That's what I would do, Mikey. Check your local listings. Check your local listings. Actually, they usually play it either right before or right after the Academy.
So if you watch The Academy, which is another great show, which we'll review later on, you can catch it either before or after that. My mouth is dropped open because I've never heard of The Academy. But tell me about Jail. Okay. So Jail is all about the, it's from the producers of Cops. So you know it's quality. And it's all about the inner workings of jails in, there's like three cities. There's Las Vegas, Tampa, and it's really weird. Patterson, New Jersey. I don't know why they chose Patterson. Is it produced in the same style as Cops? Very much so. This sounds interesting to me. Yeah, it's really interesting. And they run it in sort of different phases. They rotate through these different jails. One of the jails, the one in Las Vegas, it's all set in their sort of drunk tank area. The receiving area. Oh, man. Look at Rob. I love this show. Oh, wow. It's so good. You can relate. You can. He knows them. And then the one in Patterson is all about. The one in Patterson is all about the actual inside of the jail where they have the inmates. Okay. And it's a man's jail. There's also a woman's jail, but the man's jail is really interesting.
In the first clip I have, it's from the Las Vegas drunk tank receiving area. Question? Yes. Do they always focus on the same area in each city? So in other words, when it's Vegas, it's always the drunk tank. Yes. Okay, gotcha. However, throughout the episode, they rotate through all three. Got it. So you get a little bit of each. Get a little taste. A little taste. Okay. So this clip in particular was from Las Vegas. This gentleman happened to disagree. with the reason why he was apprehended. What's my charge in this? Oh, wait a minute. I was walking down the streets of Tampa, and I was arrested and beaten by a cop because I didn't produce an ID fast enough. And now I have a leg at me. Don't worry, sunshine. It's okay. I need my inhaler. You're inhaler? You've got it. No! No! Well, if you're able to scream like that, then you're not needing the water or the inhaler. Listen, I'm just making an observation. I do not hear the need for an inhaler. I think he's fine. In fact, if there was a device that would sort of clog your lungs, you may be better off with that device. The interesting thing about that guy's story was they picked him up for public intoxication in the morning.
By midday, they had picked up his wife in another part of town for public intoxication. So you heard him referring to Sunshine. That was his wife. Oh, man. Yeah, she was in the cell next to him. So go ahead. No, no, no. So the next clip is from the, I believe this one is from Las Vegas. And they brought in a woman who was extremely combative. So they put her in what they call a restraint chair, which is where they tie your arms behind your back. They put you in this chair, they strap your chest to it, and they strap both of your ankles in so that you can't move at all. And it's a huge, like, heavy, heavy wooden chair. Looks like an electric chair. And I'm guessing that this is for severe behavioral problems. Yeah. Big behavioral issues. You know what? It doesn't matter if I'm talking to you or not. They're not going to let me out. They're not going to loosen these manhubs that are... If you... Cut it! Do you understand why I'm pissed off? Thank you. Shut up. Okay. Shut up. I don't want to hear you anymore. All right. Here you go. Please. All right. I'm about a scale of one to ten. She's about a six right now. I've dealt with a lot worse. This is just an observation again. I would elevate that number. Yeah. Slightly. I would personally. I mean, hey, listen. Everybody's got their own way of measuring. For me, that's a ten. Yeah. Unless that's Sam Kinison's sister, I'm elevating that number.
Wow. You have to elevate that. What else you got, Shawnee? That's it. So the show's called Jail. It's on MyTV13, and I'll see you there. It's a great show. Wow. It's a rough ride on some of our freeways, especially this 805 northbound right now. That is Salda. Brake lights here approaching the South Bay Freeway out of Chula Vista. And that's a crawl all the way into Mission Valley. That's partly due to a busy West 94 that people are trying to hop on. That's Salda here from Federal now all the way to downtown. And that started with an accident northbound 5 just before the S-curve. And that was making it hard for those people on the King Freeway to transition that ramp into the downtown S-curve here. We've got westbound 8 not looking too bad, but you are seeing a busier ride now from Jackson Drive out towards Lake Murray. And now it's slowing from the 15 all the way to Texas Street. Southpond's over the 15 out of Escondido. That's slow and go. From the 78 to Villarancho Parkway slows again into Carmel Mountain Ranch. And the coaster ride, Southpond 5 crawls from La Costa all the way to Manchester. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. That's who I am as a guy. That's who I am. You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch. I love it. Now, the Mikey Show presents the search for the truth behind the words and the logic behind the lyrics. It's time to play Lyrical Gangsta. Lyrical Gangsta is where we ask you a trivia question about lyrics. And you have to give us the answer. Last week, I think we only had one guy miss one. Everybody else. Wow. Yeah, last week... Only one guy missed one. Everyone else got him right. Nice work. Yeah, people know the lyrics pretty good, we found out last week. Let's get our first contestant on the line, and it's P1 Slammer. Are you there? How you doing? Good, man. How you doing? Good. You ready to play a little lyrical gangsta? Yeah, yeah. All right, Eddie, what's the prize today? We got tickets to the Rock Before Christmas Part Deux. Ah. Nice. Part Deux. All right, Slammer, are you ready? Let's do it. All right, here we go. Your first question is...

This one is far too easy for our Eddie. P1 Eddie, are you ready to play? Yo, yes. Here we go. Your question is, in the song Jeremy by Pearl Jam, what kind of pictures is he drawing at home? That is incorrect. Eddie was even doing the hand signs for the drawing of the pictures, the mountaintops. Easy. Sorry about that one, bro.
It's a little harder today. Step it up, San Diego. Come on. P1 PD, how are you? I'm all right. How's it going? Good, man. You know the lyrics to songs? Yes, I do. Let's play. Your question is, in the song American Pie by Don McClain, where did he drive his Chevy? To the levee. You got it. Put it on the ball. What was the levee, Sky? Dry. It was dry. Hang on the line, PD. Great song. Very well done. P1 Dirty. You ready to play some Lyrical Gangsta? Yes, sir. Wait a minute. Or this. In the song Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood, where did she carve her name? Carrie Underwood? Yeah, it wasn't in the tree, bro. Dude, you don't have to be in the country to have heard that.
Everywhere. I don't have a girlfriend, bro. You know what? No girlfriend here, bro. Hang on. I didn't realize that. You win. Hang on the line. Awesome. P1 Mike? Yeah. You ready to play Lyrical Gangsta? Sure am. Here we go. In the song Don't You Want Me by the Human League, where did the waitress work? That's right. She worked at a cocktail bar. Man. P1 Andrea. It's a nice day to start again. I gotta have another one. I knew she knew it, too. Dang it. I know it.
We got to have a winner. P1 Giants fan is on the line. Here we go. Come on, don't pull an Eli. I'm doing good, dude. Can you do this? I can do it. All right, bro. Here we go. In the song, Since You've Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson, what can she do for the first time? Very well done. Love it. I know it. Sky, doesn't it bum you out that you can't actually play the game? Oh, yeah. The same thing with me. I'm like, I want to play. Yeah, well, I'm playing along in my head. I wish they could use us as lifelines. Oh, that'd be huge. Sky, I'm going to let you play. Well, now you're going to put me on the spot. I got one for you. Okay. Are you ready? No. Come on. Here we go. Brittany. Brittany, how are you? I'm good, how are you? I'm good.
I just wanted to call and tell you about my AIS story. I called AIS, and I was paying $14.25 every six months for my audio insurance, and now they have me at $3.37 every six months. So they saved me a little over $2,000 a year, and also I didn't even have to go in to take pictures of my car. He faxed me all the information. I signed it, faxed it back, and it was done. I did that, too. That's awesome. $2,000, she said. The phone number is 1-800-777-4AIS. This girl's story could be your story. Why would you pay more if you don't have to? You got a good driving record or a bad driving record? I have a DUI five years ago. I just got a speeding ticket. I got a speeding ticket two years ago, and then I just got a ticket for running a red light. So there you go, 1-800-777-4AIS. Thank you, Brittany. Thank you. Bye. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. Really, really impatient. I like to think of myself as particular. Sky. As we all know, like a deal. Sean. I don't like any of the major sports. Boston Rob. Bostonians are tight-knit people. And Ashley. Well, I'm actually like awake and like alert. The Mikey Show's on. Anyway. Rock 053. Back to you, Mike.
Yeah, welcome back. It is 732. A man in China is divorcing his wife after finding out that he is the father of only one of his wife's twins. So much for the comeback. One and done for Ricky Williams. He's out for the season with a torn chest muscle. So, Skye, what do you know about this Britney Spears and her health hazard thing? What is this? Well, according to Star Magazine, they say that, you know, how Britney has a... court-appointed monitor when she has the kids to supervise. So whenever she has the kids, that monitor is there. Sean, you're going to love this, by the way. Sean's a germaphobe. Yeah, I don't know. And that the court-appointed monitor is prepared to tell the judge that Brittany's home is a potential health hazard. because Brittany chose not to train her dogs in any sort of manner, including potty train, and also changes the boys' diapers wherever around the house, leaving the trash all over the place, and that there is feces covering the couches, the carpets, different places all around the house, and that is a health hazard to the boys. Sean has his face in his hands right now, and he's slumped over.
That story not sitting well with Sean, our resident germaphobe. I mean, it's not sitting well, I think, with any of us. But for a germaphobe, simply a nightmare. Yeah, that's not a very sanitary situation. And, yeah, of course, that could be a health hazard. It does not sound good. Brittany was late for a video shoot, too. Yeah, and I guess from what I read, they were kind of expecting it because she was supposed to show up noon yesterday, but the people kind of knowing Brittany's pattern lately, they booked the studio for the full day plus today, knowing that she isn't very consistent. She's not well right now. So she actually called and said she was going to be late and to change the start time to six at night. So, okay, cool, they got the studio time, whatever. She shows up at 9 o'clock last night. Oh, wow. Yeah, so, and then I guess, you know, they start to shoot the video. Is there a big line at Starbucks? Or Petco, or Target, or wherever she's shopping that day. This is Anderson Cooper. We all know Anderson Cooper from CNN, right? Who, by the way, is going to be moderating tonight's GOP debate in Florida.
and he was on Ellen yesterday saying this, cut 15. I do watch a lot of junk TV. I do. I mean, I was addicted to, for a while, my super sweet 16. Do you ever watch that show? Oh, yes. Yeah. Have you seen that show? It's incredible. I mean, I watch it, and it's, I don't understand. I don't understand how parents think it's okay to spend like $300,000 on a child's sweet 16 party. Right. And give their kid like an Escalade. Yeah. Who are these people? And they're proud to be on there. They're proud to be on there. And I frankly, after the first season, I stopped watching. And then I was watching the show called Tiara Girls for a while. Ever seen that? No. What's that? It's like low-rent beauty pageants. It's like the Miss Filet of Steak pageant from Philadelphia. And it's... But literally, these kids' parents are pushing them into these pageants. It's like young teenage pageants. And their mothers are wanting these children to get liposuction and collagen injections in their lips. And these are like 16-year-old girls. That's horrible. It's crazy. I thought it was liposuction. It sounds like he added a P to it. Is Anderson Cooper openly gay? Okay, wait a second, Sky. What are you saying? I know there's been talk about it, about his sexual orientation. Actually, when you said that, I actually thought to myself, is he? I think maybe I've heard that he did say that he was gay.
Yeah, but then I don't know if he's actually ever said that because I don't think he has. But then these are the shows he's watching, which is an odd choice for an adult male who is in the news. Wait a minute. Sean watches all those shows. By the way, there was a My Super Sweet 16 marathon going on over the Thanksgiving break. And I told my wife, I said, If you're going to watch that, will you please put your headphones in? Because she's got these wireless headphones that she'll use when I'm trying to go to sleep. And I don't know that we've ever talked about my Super Sweet 16. I can't watch my Super Sweet 16. It upsets me. It upsets me to the point where I go, oh, I can't come back to this. To me, it's like going into a restaurant and people are throwing food around.
Like, it's the equivalent. Like, I can't go back to that restaurant. I get really uncomfortable when I'm in that restaurant. Yeah, it's so bad, man. Well, and so I asked my wife when my brother was in town. We were all in the car. We were driving. And my brother watches it. He loves it. Steve loves my super sweet 16. Really? Yeah, weird. And so me and my wife and Steve are talking about it. And they've seen all of them. And I said, has there ever been an episode of my super sweet 16 where the 16-year-old that is the focus of the show was actually seemed like a really good person and a really, you know, sweet kid. And there was dead silence in the car. And they were thinking and thinking and thinking. And about 30 seconds later, they were both, you know, one of them said it first. No.
No. No. And then the other one was like, yeah, not that I recall. Wow. You know, which is tough because you can say, have you ever seen a TV show where they show a 16-year-old that's a good person and a sweet, yeah, yeah, yeah. You could think of sweet 16-year-olds that you've seen or, you know, whatever. Like on Extreme Home Makeover, there's really good kids on that. But you got to think to yourself, okay, well, you know, maybe MTV doesn't want to put those kids on there. They only want to put the spoiled ones or whatever. But my goodness, the stuff that they do is crazy. I can't watch that. It's crazy. My wife said that on one of them, that it was like, A designer's daughter, some fashion designer's daughter. And that she wanted the room at the Four Seasons, like the biggest room at the Four Seasons, like where her friends can come. And in the room, she wanted it turned into a circus. And so they informed the father, we can't put a trapeze in here. Like she wanted a trapeze that was hanging and like it because it had real high ceilings and like swinging and people doing acrobatics.
And the Four Seasons said, we can't do that. And so the father got a hold of the people that were going to build the circus in there. And he said, is there anything that you can do to make this happen? And the guy was like, if they won't let us, we really can't do it. And the girl started crying, like flipping out that she wasn't going to get the trapeze and the circus. I said, yeah, I got to walk out of that restaurant. They're throwing food in there. I can't do it. Yeah, dude. It upsets me as well. The lead singer of Quiet Riot was found dead in his place in Vegas the other day, and the bass player for the band was on a show called Fox and Friends, and he was talking about it. Cut 13. I would be very much going out on a limb confirming anything like that. However, we're rock and rollers. If you do the math.
You know, if you look at the history of rock and roll, how many people have left us in this manner, it's somewhat of a common thing. So they're asking if drugs played a role, and he's all but saying, well, yeah, you know, we're in rock music. What do you expect? So, Eddie, are we later? Are we on time? On time. Winehouse has canceled her UK tour. I don't think that surprises anybody. It's about time. Those poor people. She's not well right now. Who paid for tickets to hear her slur for an hour. And O.J. Simpson is going to be arraigned in Las Vegas. When? Today. Him and his co-defendants. And, you know, no surprise. They're expecting him to plead not guilty. They're done that. Right. Not guilty. Not even there. Well, no. I mean, you were definitely there. No, I was in... Hawaii. No. Ever hear of a thing called CGI? Yeah. Yeah, but that's for movies. And apparently tapes. Security camera. Right. No. They spliced me in. I'm surprised I didn't have my football uniform on. That's right. Okay. I thought for a second.
I thought you said they sliced me in. That was a good one. Which would have made me laugh hysterically. No, it's not funny, OJ. Yeah, because I've killed people before. I do the slicing. Hey, help me. Hey, let's get things straight around here. Who does the slicing? OJ. Me. All right. The Juice. Okay. He's a rain today. Yes. San Diego ties for third among... sagging housing markets. Yeah. That's great news. No, make it stop. Make it be better. This place, man, it's so expensive to live here. We need a housing lift. Yeah. Let's get Dr. 90210 to come over here and give us a house lift. Yeah, so San Diego, over the last year, housing prices declined 9.6%. You want to know who we're tied in third place with? Who? Detroit. Oh, you've got to be kidding me. That tells you how icky that is. And then in second place is Miami with a 10% decline. And then first place is Tampa with 11.1% decline. I'm confused. So that's bad for homeowners, but good for people who need to buy a house. That's huge for people who need to buy.
Class half empty. So congrats to you. Thank you. Not so good for me and Mike and Ashley. I'm happy. I mean, I have a house too, but I'm going to buy a new house, so it's great. It's a good time. A new study says that sex with Americans is very, very risky for Mexican hookers. What? That is a true story. Come again. Okay, listen. Sky, explain. Okay. So a study done by UCSD shows that female prostitutes in border cities who cater to American clientele have a 50% higher rate of syphilis and other sexually transmitted diseases than those who don't. It ain't easy being a hoe now. Yeah, they say that women paid by American customers, they're younger, they're more likely to speak English, but they're also more likely to inject drugs and have unprotected sex.
The hookers. The hookers. The hookers are younger, but they're more likely to be, like, drug users. And having unprotected sex with their clientele. They say prostitutes who cater to U.S. clients in the border towns, they get paid about $30 for unprotected sex, $20 for sex with a condom. The difference is $10. Yes. Oh, man. That's pretty funny. You're a real hooker. Yeah. They say the prostitutes who have sex with U.S. clients, 7% of them are HIV positive. What? Wait, wait. Say that one again. Prostitutes in border towns like Tijuana who cater to American clients, 7% of them are HIV positive. Oh, my. So, guys. Guys that go and, you know. uh frequent the mexican hookers just so you know when you go there and you do this and you're paying the 30 for the unprotected sex just so you know right picture a revolver with 100 chambers and put seven bullets randomly in there spin it put it to your head and pull the trigger if you're cool pull the trigger yeah they say 16 of those women injected drugs within the past month
And 37% of those women had clients who injected drugs. Oh. That's not good. That's even higher. Yeah, and so those statistics are higher than the prostitutes in border towns who cater to Hispanic clients. Ay, Chalupa. Yeah. That is scary business, man. Yippers. It's now risky for the Mexican hookers. Remember, there's a red flag warning today until 6 p.m. Red flag warnings are about... The Mikey Show. Oh, yes!

That's the real California milk seal. That seal certifies its 100% grade A milk that only... Only comes from California's dairies. What does certify mean? It means it rules. The seal also means my mom made sure she's buying local milk, not some other milk trucked in from out of state. And that means that she rules. Does your milk have the real California milk seal, Brenda? I don't know. Just because your mom doesn't look for the real California milk seal doesn't necessarily mean she loves you any less. But on second thought, that's probably exactly what it means, Brenda. Up to 20% of the milk in California grocery stores is trucked in from out of state.
So support your local dairy farmers and look for the Real California Milk Seal to make sure you're getting certified, locally produced, Real California Milk. He robs bizarre food. Today, our foods with Boston Robb. Ikey Show. Break myself in. This song chills me out. You know what songs I listen to when I climb the little hill behind my house? I listen to, like the song, I don't know why, the song that gets me the most fired up for when I start is Given to Fly by Pearl Jam. Oh, yeah. I don't know why.
It's inspirational, bro. Is it? Is that the deal? Like, Eddie, for real. Is that song inspirational? Absolutely. Because it's not really like a heavy rock song to get you fired up. It's motivational. It really is. Sky, do you know this song? No, no. Of course you do. I mean, maybe I'll recognize it. This is the first song I listen to when I'm starting to go hike. Okay. Oh, yeah. I'm going to go climb that mountain. This is what I listen to when I head into the wild. Sorry, guys. I was just trying to stall. This is going to be an inspirational thing. Don't. It could be. It could be. Maybe we mend the bridge or not or whatever. Or burn it down completely. Possible. Now, I'm going to tell you straight off. We're about to do Cheaters Hotel. And I'm going to tell you straight away that the reason that we do Cheaters Hotel, and I mean this sincerely, is because...
I think I feel worse knowing someone wrote us for help and they're going through a... They're out there and they're being cheated on and that's happening. Personally, I feel like it's going to... They're probably going to find out either way and better sooner than later. And sometimes they're not and they're going to get married, which is awful. Yeah. Which is awful. It is. And so... That's why we do Cheaters Hotel. Either way, there's problems in the relationship. For sure. For sure. This time it's P1 Jesse. And I got to find out. Eddie gives me the gist. Eddie gives me the gist. I get details. So you guys get details. But the gist, Eddie, is that Jesse is a guy. Yes. And this is his girlfriend or? His girlfriend. Okay.
He wrote us an email because he heard us talking about Ashley and Rob, who are both on the show. And the reason that it got him thinking is because his girlfriend has a buddy before him, before Jesse. She was very close to him. And they were best friends. Best friends, Mike. Best friends. And Jesse is suspicious. Yeah, he is not a fan of their relationship at all. Talk to him. He'll tell you. Jesse, are you there? I'm here. How are you, man? Oh, I'm okay. How are you? Good. Let me get some specifics from you. All right. How old are you? I'm 28. All right. And what is your girlfriend's name? Her name is Renee. And how old is Renee? Oh, she's going to kill me. She's 26. She's going to kill you for divulging that she's so young and vibrant? Yeah. She's got issues about that already.
Oh, boy. This will be good. Oh, wow. Then I'm just going to have no problem being on the radio. Jesse, how long have you been dating Renee? About a year. And we've already discussed why you think she's cheating. Well, I want to go into more specifics. You're not comfortable with Renee's friendship. Who's the friend? What's his name? His name's Joey. Joey. Joey. Never trusted Joey. I mean... Yeah, no kidding. Why are you uncomfortable with the relationship between Renee and Joey? Because he's a guy. He's her best friend. He's a guy. And it's just weird. Have you let her know you're uncomfortable with it? Oh, absolutely. What does she say? What does she say when you tell her? She's like...
She's like, he's my friend. There's nothing more to it. He's been my friend for so long. We have a history and all that crap. Have they ever dated? No. Okay. Wait, wait, wait. Sky has a question. Yeah, so is this something that you think has been going on all along? Or do you think this is something that just recently turned from friendship into romantic between the two of them? I don't think there's anything... any new development, no, I... So you think this has been shady from the start? It's just shady, yeah, it's really weird and shady, and I want to get to the bottom of it. Well, what do they do specifically that makes you go, hmm, you know, something's going on? Well, they, she hangs out with him, God, more than she hangs out with me, they, you know, they're constantly, she's constantly on the phone and, you know, giggling and gossiping and gabbing with this guy and going on and on and on, and
You know, she's just like... Is he gay? No, that's the thing. He's not gay. Ashley has a question. Go ahead, Ash. Is he a good-looking guy? Yeah, he's generally a normal-looking guy, yeah. Is he better-looking than you? You know the answer to that. Absolutely. You know the answer to that, Jesse. It will help us. Is he better-looking than you? I don't know. I guess. Probably. Maybe. I don't know. That means yes. Oh, wow. Actually, if I were to translate that, what that means is, oh, yeah, 100%, Mike. He is a lot better looking than I am. Which is okay. It's just... And says a lot. Jesse. Ashley. What? Jesse. Yeah. Talk to me about this, though. Tell me what it is about you that... won Renee over? Why did she like you? A better question is this. Why did Renee not end up with Joey? Because I know she's told you. Why you? Why not Joey? What has she said? She just gives the generic he's like a brother to me thing. That could be true. Ashley has a lot of friends that are guys that are even good looking guys that
she considers like a brother like a friend there's not that spark there yeah yeah but i and this is something that just is like my hot button i get people having friends of the opposite sex but when you're in a relationship especially if you've been in a relationship for a year shouldn't your best friend be your partner yes undeniably yes rob Undeniably... I didn't want to bring that up. I think Eddie brings up a good point. I think that Rob's girlfriend has a right to be jealous of Zeth. I mean, it really should be Sarissa that is his best friend, but clearly he spends more loving time with Zeth. They're so touchy-feely. Yeah, it's just uncomfortable. Okay, here's what we're going to do. Wait a minute. Before we move on, P1 Paparazzi has a suggestion. Paparazzi... Oh, Eddie looks really like... Eddie's mouthing things to the sky. P1 Paparazzi, what did you want to say? Paparazzi. Stop, Eddie. He's banned from the show? A moratorium on paparazzi? For sure. Wow.
Well, he hung up. I mean, what is he doing? Maybe he has a reason. Maybe his point was already made by one of us. Well, I know what he was going to say. He was going to say, I read it up on my call screener. He was going to say, don't forget to let the person know that this is non-transferable. We do. We got to let the person know that they can't turn this over. We got to avoid that. Thanks, paparazzi. Oh. You saved our show. Eddie. Eddie, he's trying to help. He's just trying to help. I agree with you. Eddie is now giving the international sign for hooray for me. Okay. Well, Jessie, here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a quick break, and when we come back, we're going to call Renee. I'm going to offer her a free night at a hotel. I'm going to ask her what name she would like to be put on a free gift basket that she's going to get. If she says your name, Jessie, then you're probably all good. If she says any other name, including, but not limited to, Joey, then it's not good news. Can you hang on, please? Okay. Hang on. We will take a quick timeout. What's your gut? My gut is he's weird. Yeah. My gut is he's weird. Jesse? Yes. Jealous. Yeah. Yeah. That's my gut. Me too. Because he couldn't come up with, like, any...
Yeah, like, what's the problem? Um, I don't know. He doesn't like it, and I don't blame him for that, but that doesn't mean she's... Different issue. Yeah. Different issue. Let's see. Weird. Time out. We'll come back. We will call Renee. You're listening to The Mikey Show. The Mikey Show. That's the ultimate hang zone. All right. Good news, San Diego. Just a brief slowdown from Otto Parkway to Felicita. Some scattered stuff into Rancho Bernardo. A little bit heavier, though, from Carmel Mountain Road down towards Poway Road. Good day. Welcome back. I'm so stoked to be making this phone call. It is 8.09. San Diego's former fire chief told a congressional panel yesterday that all of the changes agreed to after the Cedar fires never happened. Michael Vick's troubles continue. He faces a trial date of April 2nd on state dogfighting charges. Subject of this email is remember with an exclamation point. Says Mikey, remember when you do Cheater's Hotel to tell the cheater that the hotel gift is non-transferable or able to be given away. You seem to forget things with the ADD. Signed P1 Photoshop. Well, and let's get him back on the line. Okay. Jesse, are you there? We are going to call Renee. Renee is your girlfriend of a year. Just to update listeners that didn't hear, we're doing Cheater's Hotel.
This is when people write us an email and tell us they think their husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating. Jesse believes that his girlfriend, Renee, his girlfriend of a year, is cheating on him. Jesse is 28. Renee is 26. Renee has a best friend named Joey who Jesse is suspicious of. I pressed Jesse for answers like, well, what specifically makes you... Suspicious. And if I'm being honest, Jesse, you didn't tell me anything that was like real crazy and out there. Yeah, I know there's no smoking gun or anything like that. Just a suspicion. Okay. I'm going to call her right now. I'm going to offer her a night stay. If she says a name other than yours, you are free to speak. Just do not curse, okay? Okay.
Yeah, if she says a name other than Jessie, just don't curse. And I need you to remind you to stay quiet until she gives a name. Is that cool? Yeah. Hang on. Hello, 11760. Hi, can I speak to Renee, please? Hi, this is Chief. Hi, Renee. My name is Steve, and I'm calling you from the Orion Hotel, San Diego's newest premier high-rise hotel located in the heart of the gas lamp. And someone that you know... entered you into a drawing that allows you to spend one evening for free in our hotel courtesy of Orion Promotions. What's the catch? There is no catch. There is no obligation. And you don't have to purchase anything at this time. And when you check into the hotel, you will find out who put your name into the drawing. It's a friend of yours, but I don't have the information. What we hope is, Orion Promotions is offering this and hoping to encourage you.
to think of the Orion Hotel the next time you're in the gas lamp and are looking for a place to stay. And where's the hotel? It's located in the gas lamp. Oh. And it's a brand new hotel, and we're hoping that you will stay there, enjoy your night stay, and the next time you're there, you'll want to stay there again, and also that you'll tell your friends about it, and you'll want to stay there again and again, and so will your friends. Okay. So here's what we do. As an added bonus, we're going to extend a gift basket to you and your guest. And it'll be a complimentary champagne and strawberry gift basket. I need to also inform you that you will be responsible for all room incidentals. So if you use the mini bar or you incur any phone charges, you're going to have to pay for those. So you will not be charged anything, but on the time of your arrival, they'll take a credit card for incidentals.
like the mini bar, the phone, and stuff like that. And you have up to 30 days to pick the night of your stay. You don't have to do it today. And I need to remind you that this is a non-transferable promotion. Other than that, we want you to enjoy your free room, courtesy of the Orion Hotel. And all I need to get from you is the name of your guest that you'll be bringing so that we can print it on the gift card. Okay. I guess the name would be Jesse Monroe. Okay. All right, Renee, I need to let you know that you are on the Mikey Show right now. This is Rock 105.3, and your boyfriend, Jesse, is on the line right now. Jesse, are you there? Renee, I need to tell you what we're doing. We're doing something called Cheater's Hotel, and you're not actually going to be staying at our fictitious hotel. There is no Orion Hotel. This is something that we do that is set up to...
Find out if somebody has been unfaithful. And Jesse was concerned that you were being unfaithful with your friend, Joey. Paul, say again? I can't believe you. You're putting this up almost like 24-7, okay? He is my best friend. There's nothing between us. And I don't understand why you can't get that concept through your thick skull. This drives me absolutely nuts. Yeah, I just, I hate this guy and I wish, you know... I wish he wasn't in our life, and I don't trust him at all, and that's how it is. I can't get over the fact that your best friend is, you know, and he's not gay. If he was gay, that's one thing, but he's not. And he's good looking. Hey, Jessie, you should probably just communicate that to her instead of, you know, believing that she's cheating. Boy, I have communicated that. We've gone over this a hundred times. Go ahead, Renee. I'm concerned.
of this whole thing. Because, I mean, we've gone through this, like, I don't know how many times. And it's like, you don't understand. This guy is obsessed. Okay? Jesse, you're obsessed with this whole thing. Hang on a second. I want to remind people of something that he said about her. She gets upset about her age and things. Yeah. Seems like a hot mess. How much coffee does she have, right? It's just, I mean, you know, you're driving me away is what you're doing. Uh, Renee. Renee? Renee? Renee, I don't mean to stir anything up, but I do want to let you know that Jesse did divulge your age. You said that you're 26 years old. Sky, I think we should get everything out on the table and discuss it, work it out, and get over it. He told you she was sensitive about her age. Yeah, that didn't help. Ashley has a question. Ashley, go ahead. Hey, Renee. Just a random question. Do you think in any way, shape, or form, and if you could be honest, that would help, that Joey has any feelings for you? Even though you don't look at him like that, do you think that he might have feelings for you at all? I have no idea. I am just not... No, because you would definitely have an idea if he's your best friend. Yeah. Give me a break with that. We're just friends. So, but do you think that he has any attraction to you whatsoever? And you kind of like that attention, even though you have a boyfriend, too? Honestly, I...
I don't think so. I have a follow-up question. Follow-up. I have a follow-up question. Follow it up, Mike. That's so ridiculous. Renee. Yes? Have you ever considered decaffeinated coffee? That's a great follow-up. Oh, boy. Switching a decaf. Renee is... Oh, high-strung. Is very high-strung. A little bit. A little bit. You'd be high-strung, too, if your boyfriend, you know, puts you on the radio about something that he's been bringing up, like, all the time. You'd be highly strong about that, too. You know, Renee, listeners are calling in right now, 5701053, and P1 Worm wanted to point out something that he heard Renee say. Worm, are you there? Yeah, what up, Mikey? What did you hear? I heard her say, um, I guess, Jessie. What's there to guess? It's either Jessie or some other dude. She was making a decision. That's interesting. You know, Renee, you did say, I guess, Jessie. Well, it was like one of those, like, you're put on the spot. Like, you know, like, I didn't know who I'm going to. I would take my mom or something to an ice hotel. So there was a hesitation while you considered whether you wanted to take Jessie or your mom. I don't know. I was on the spot. You know, champagne, strawberries. Like, you know, I want a romantic kind of...
Hotel thing? Romantic, champagnes and strawberries. You know, that sounds pretty good for me and mom. But... But... I guess Jessie. I didn't say my mom. No, no, no, no. I know. It's just that when you were considering a night stay with the champagne and strawberries, you thought, oh, mom would love that with me. No, you know what? I actually remember the way she answered, and I think she was just a little thrown off by the whole thing. Like, she was kind of just like, oh, I guess this free room, okay, type of thing. Is that what it was? That's what the tone I got. I really don't think that she is cheating. Yeah, we don't need to add to Jessie's paranoia right now. I just think that she's pulling something I've done a million times. We also don't need to add to her anxiety level. Oh, that's true. Well, she could be, though. I mean, it's entirely possible. Oh, Sean. Hey, not now. I'm just saying, you know, she could be a really great liar. P1 Tim, are you there? Sounds like it. What did you want to say? No. I wanted to ask, does Joey have a girlfriend? Because if he doesn't have a girlfriend, then that's probably a good indication that he's just waiting for Renee. Renee? Does Joey have a girlfriend? Yes. Oh, he does not. He dates, but not someone steady. Could you hear what P1 Tim just said? Could you hear what P1 Tim just said, Renee? Yeah, he doesn't have a girlfriend. He's just waiting for me. Yeah, do you agree with that? No. Renee, if you were single, would you ever date Joey? I'm not attracted to him sexually. Okay.
Jesse seems to disagree, but that could be Jesse's problem. Well, Jesse, you have to figure out that I'm sleeping with him and not with Joey. Like, uh, hello? That would be an indicator. I wish people could see my face right now. Oh, man. Hello? Now, I have a question for Renee. If it came down to it between your relationship with Joey and your relationship with Jesse, Not any. No, don't ask. Don't finish it, Eddie. Finish it. Who would you choose? Yeah, who would you choose? Who would you choose, Renee? You know, right now, you do not want me to choose. Wait, wait, wait. Say that again. Right now, we don't want you to choose? Okay, put it that way. Because you're mad at Jessie. Yeah. Oh, boy. That's a pretty convenient answer. Come on. I just can't make the decision right now, guys. I'm too upset. Furious. Oh, man. Hey, Jesse. Yeah. What are you thinking right now? I think I'm in trouble when I get home. That's what I'm thinking about. Wow. Well, shame on you. Yeah. P1, Stephanie, are you there? Yes, I am. Go ahead. Hi. I had a boyfriend for a couple of years, and I had a friend that I'd grown up with since I was three years old, and my boyfriend was obsessed and jealous over that whole situation the entire time. It could turn out that he'd been the one cheating on me the entire time, but he would never let up on his obsession.
Five years. And so I think you should let this guy go, let Jesse go, your boyfriend, because he'll never stop. And it'll be, you know, a couple weeks from now, some guy's checking you out and he's going to think you're going to go out with that guy. I think that he's obsessive and jealous and he has issues of his own. Wow. Yes. You agree, Ashlyn? 100%. And I'm your age. I'm 26 years old. And this happened when I was from 17 to 21. And he will not let it go. Right. Trust me. Yeah. Like, I just want to say, because for... for me like i just really relate to renee this personal because this is what happens with me and like my last boyfriend did not want me to have any guy friends i had to like completely disconnect my relationships with like three of my closest friends, but they were guys. And it was because he felt threatened and he didn't trust me. And that was crap because I never in a million years would have cheated on him. Ash, what do you think about exchanging numbers with Renee and hanging out? It sounds like you guys might be able to share something. Can I finish my thought? She sounds like she'd be a good girlfriend. Because then, when you break up with your boyfriend, if it doesn't work out, and you turn around and where are your friends? Because you ditched them all because your boyfriend had insecurity issues. What do you think, Renee?
I mean, that's exactly the thing. I get what you're saying, girl. I don't think a boyfriend should make you get rid of any friends. I don't either, unless it's affecting your relationship. Oh, wait, but it obviously is affecting their relationship. No, I mean, like, in a negative way. Like, unless one of her friends is, like, doing drugs with her and bringing her... But it is a negative way, isn't it? How, though? Unless... Except for the fact that he's threatened. How is it a negative friendship at all? It's negative, it's negative, Ash, because he's uncomfortable. No, Ashley just, she says if it's a negative friendship, which is different from affecting your relationship. A negative friendship is a bad friend who's pulling you down. Which is what, I think that that, I would understand. Listen, you asked me, Renee shouldn't be hanging out with Joey. Well, why? The trash should be there. Because, that's a comment from a young woman, honestly. I believe that as you get older, Ash, you will be out of that. Like, younger people want to believe that they're very adult. And they believe that adults, that that's what an adult would do. I don't think that. Well, you do. You just said that you think that it's okay to have a guy friend and blah, blah, blah. And there should be trust. But I agree it's because I'm young. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I 100% agree. But the part that you're disagreeing about is that you feel like a... Okay, maybe you don't. Okay, other people that are your age.
That an adult would be like, we're just friends. As an adult, we should be able to just be friends. And there's nothing wrong with it. And you should trust. But as you get older, you realize, like, that's what I used to say when I was a little kid. And now that I'm an adult, no. I'm not going to hang out with this guy and this girl. Because it would make my wife or my girlfriend freak out. She's only 26. You don't want the drama. When you're 20-something, you like the drama of being able to say to your significant other, we're just friends. You should trust me. There's a drama in that exchange. And Renee is in her 20s. And if this relationship is ever going to evolve into something more, then Jessie should really be your best friend. Don't you agree, Renee? Renee? Renee? Are you there? I mean, I have lots of friends. I mean, Jessie's like, you know. But who's your best friend? You've been referring to Joey as your best friend. Well, I mean, I don't know. I'm the kind of person who has lots of best friends. Oh, boy. Ashley, are you on the other line? Yeah. So what Renee is saying is, listen, I don't consider my boyfriend Jessie one of my best friends, but Joey's my best friend. That's awful. All that matters is that me and Jessie are real close.
Hey, Jesse. Yeah. Good luck. I think you have some work to do. Thank you for writing us. And Renee, I hope everything works out. Well, if Jesse would get off my back, it might. Oh, boy. Well, it certainly sounds as easy as Sunday morning. That's wonderful. Thank you. All right. Thank you very much, Renee. We'll see you later. That went well. Yeah. I don't know, babe. I don't think that went that good. I'm sitting here and I'm thinking to myself, who is that guy? Who is Jesse? Jesse loves Renee a lot. I'm not saying anything's wrong with Renee. I'm not. I'm just saying maybe for my particular taste, the very high strungness. She's probably hot. Some things I do not consider all the time.
That's why I'm easy. That's why I'm easy like Sunday morning. Thank you, Lionel. Looking pretty good. Northbound 5 and 805 right now up to National City. 805 still has a brief delay through North Park, but still kind of heavy out of Kearney Mesa. Heading up over the 52. Westbound 94 on the King Freeway. Still plenty of brake lights here from 28th Street in the downtown. Your ride on the westbound 8 is looking better. Now you just see a little bunched up stuff from the 805 to Texas Street here in Mission Valley. Much improved ride as well out of Escondido in the south 15. Just some reduced speeds off and on through Poway down towards around Poway Road. And the coaster rides up on 5. That's still kind of tough though out of Locadia in the Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3.
Let me tell you something about Cricket Wireless, the greatest wireless company, in my opinion, in America. Really the world, and truly, if we're being really honest about it, I think that if we were to encounter space aliens from other planets, be them friendly or outlaw states. Extraterrestrial beings. My feeling is that if they were to try the other guys. And then try cricket. They would probably feel the same. Well, that's a good point. Because if you are from outer space, you don't know how long you're going to be on this planet. So you don't want to get all wrapped up into a contract. That's the deal. Like, what if you are from another planet? You come here. You go, okay, I'm roaming. I need to be able to use a company right away. Let's say that you sign up with another wireless company because their name rhymes with... horizon oh okay okay and so you sign up with them right and then you get back to your home planet and you get the bill oh and you open it up and you're like what the heck z-bop dum zim zim and which means which means you've got to be kidding me okay well with a curse word in there
Well, we can't say that. An alien one. The FCC is even not okay with it being spoken in a different language. Right. And so that's why they should have chose cricket because... All the texting back to Gorgon, I mean, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg and a leg and a leg. And that's what I meant was the texting. And they're taking pictures of them standing next to human life. Like a cow. Yeah, any kind of life. Laughing. Pointing. Holding up Rubios. So, Skye, what is the website? It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. Now, here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Lyrical Gangsta is where we ask you a trivia question about lyrics. And you have to give us the answer. Andrea, in the song White Wedding by Billy Idol, what is it a nice day to do?
It's a nice day to start again. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. That's right, homeboy. Sky's my homie. You're my homie. School dog. Why are you talking like that? Because I'm down. Yo. All right. You're just way too right for me, homeboy. What? 8.33. Carson Daly will be the first late-night host to cross the writer's ticket line. Padres and Doug Brooke Hale are parting ways. He signed with the Houston Astros. Got an email here for you, and I want to see what you guys think. And by you guys, I mean everybody here in the studio and P1's listening right now. Our phone number, 5701053. Got an email. Sorry, got very distracted. It's funny.
What? Before we read that email. Okay. Read a couple emails we're getting from listeners. Oh, okay. Mikey, that cheater's hotel was crazy. This sounds like a sticky situation. I know I'd hate to be in that situation. All I can say is good luck, Renee. Warmly, Boston Rob's girlfriend. Oh, no. From P1 Steve. That's awkward. Thank you, Steve. Steve, you probably shouldn't be stirring the pot. I would throw that one out. Steve was kidding, so I'm going to throw that one out. I'm hoping he was. Are you sure? I think Steve might have been just joking around with that one. More emails. Don't anybody else do that, by the way. Don't anybody else write to Mikey at rock1053.com. M-I-K-E-Y. Wow. With those kinds of emails. That was something else. Yeah, so anyway, let me get back to the email. Okay, what you got, buddy? Got an email that says, hey, Mike, you have a problem? My wife wants a baby so bad, and I most definitely do not. Oh, gosh. We are both young, and I want to continue having fun times that you cannot have if you have a child. It's not that I don't like babies. Just not right now. In addition...
I do not make enough money right now to support a baby on top of our normal budget. Usually she won't say much about how she wants babies, but then one of her friends will get pregnant or give birth, and it'll make my wife think that she can bug me day in and day out about us getting pregnant. The issue gets us both so angry that we fight about it. This has been going on for over a year. Please help me, Mikey. Babies or not, an option at this time in my life. Signed, P1 Cody. We got Cody on the line. Cody, you there? We read your email. And, dude, first of all, Cody, how old are you? I'm 21 right now, actually. And how old is your wife? She's 19. Oh, for goodness sake. Let me guess, Cody, are you in the military? Oh, how'd you guess that one? Oh, yeah. Well... Step or five. Ben? Cody, Cody, Cody. No brainer here, people. Cody, right now I can see it on Ashley's face. She's saying, you're too young. Yes, I know. That's the issue. Oh, for goodness sake. Stand your ground, man. Do not give in. Cody, what's your wife's name? You want to make one? Make one up. Make up a name.
Jennifer. Okay. We will call your wife Jennifer. First of all, Jennifer's not there right now, is she? No. Okay. Because I was going to ask to talk to her. Yeah, you cannot have a baby. And what I think that we can do here is we'll go around and we'll get people's opinions on this. And then I will tell you exactly what you need to say to Jennifer. You should write it down. Okay. Eddie, talk to me. Well, I have a question first. Go ahead. My question is, did you guys have a conversation about having kids before you got married? Yes, we did. And she wanted kids. Like, she likes kids. I didn't think she wanted kids so early. And it's like, things will be fine. But then a friend of hers will get pregnant. And she'll be like, oh, how cute. We read that, Cody. What I think Eddie's getting at is.
What was the plan before you got married, or was there no plan? I don't think I got into it enough, actually, which was my mistake. Now listen, I want to talk to everybody listening right now that is not married, that ever considers getting married. Have the discussion. Yeah. About everything. Yeah, exactly. Because lots of people have the discussion, oh, you want kids? I want kids. Okay, cool. But nobody ever talks about a timeline, how many kids. And these things are really important. So important. Yeah. So, so important. So, okay. But you didn't. Which, okay, you're both young and you didn't. And so it's understandable. But now you've got to figure out what to do next. And, boy, I'll tell you what, man. A 19-year-old girl, not woman. Wow. I will not say 19-year-old woman. Because first of all, becoming a man isn't easy. Becoming a woman isn't easy. It takes a lot of knowledge in your gray matter. So I believe, and before I even say, Skye, what do you think about this? Yeah.
I'm on board with you guys. I mean, granted, you guys did have the agreement, but there is so much time left. It's not like she's pushing her late 30s and the clock is ticking. And being financially stable is huge, you know. I mean, it puts a lot of strain on a relationship, money issues in general, but then to throw a baby on top of that. And, you know, you guys want to enjoy some time as a couple together before adding another element to the relationship. Dude, I totally support you. Stand your ground. You know, I think Sean is an interesting guy to ask about it, too, because Sean does not want kids. Right. Ever. And Sean, your wife, does not want kids either, right? That's correct, yeah. But I'm guessing you guys talked a lot about that? Yeah, we did. We did. We talked a lot about it. You know, and our main concern was having a child. at a state where it would be a financial strain, and then the kid would end up in a broken home with the dad one week, the mother the next, or vice versa, or all the time with the mother and never with the father. It's a really bad situation for the kid. Yeah, Cody, I'm going to tell you this, and this is something that you can tell to your wife. Okay. And you don't have to say it like it's coming from you. You can tell your wife, I talked to Mikey about it.
And if she thinks that I'm the type of person that is a rational thinker, great. And if not, then she doesn't trust what I say, fine. But here's my opinion. When someone doesn't want a child and you have a child, that is an unfair thing to do to the child. Because you're never going to get Cody to... become a good dad unless he wants to. It's kind of like they say about people that have issues with alcohol or drugs or whatever and sometimes people will ask me, Mikey, how do I get my brother to stop drinking? He's got a drinking problem. I always have to tell him, your brother's not going to stop drinking until your brother doesn't want to drink anymore. And Cody is not going to be a good dad until Cody wants to be a dad. And if you don't want, and there might be a lot of people listening right now that are going, wait a second, wait a second, Mikey. I didn't want to have a kid, and then my kid was born, and now I'm a really good dad, and blah, blah, blah. Okay, my answer to that is, okay, now maybe you are. Maybe you are now, but you don't want to bring a kid into that environment. You want to have, if you can control it.
You always want to bring the kid into the best case scenario if you can control it. And you can control it. And so it's just a bad idea. I have another question. Go ahead, Eddie. What form of birth control do you guys use? I use the NuvaRing, actually. The NuvaRing? Yeah, it's just like this ring that you just stick in there and it stays there for three weeks. Do you know how it works, like how it actually works? There's like hormones or whatever inside of it. Okay. It does its job. Scott, you got to Google that. Okay. Be careful, bro. That's all I'll say. Make sure you and your wife are on the same page and there is no quote-unquote slip-ups. Yeah, no tricking. Make sure that she's not... I think what Eddie was getting at there is if you had said that she was on the birth control pill, Eddie's...
point would be, be careful, make sure she's not taking it so that she accidentally gets pregnant, which I agree with 100%. That's the reason we went to the ring, actually. It's not purposely not taking it, it's just every single day you have to do it at the same time, all that good trash. Oh, you do? It's way easier. Birth control, not with the ring. Okay, with this thing you don't. It gets controlled every three weeks. Yeah, well, listen, a lot of people are calling in, Cody, and they want to offer their advice. Is that cool? Please. P1 Vista Mike, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. How you guys doing? Good. Go ahead. I was 22 when my wife and I got married. She was 19, and we did not have the discussion ahead of time, but we had a child a year later, basically. And everything's great. I can't complain about my life at all now. Obviously, I love my kids. I have three kids now. But I would wait because I really think you need to have time to learn about each other. And you just really need to have that togetherness time before you can kind of jump into having kids and taking on that responsibility. And I got to tell you something else. The other thing that kind of worries me about it is that your wife is extraordinarily young. She's 19 years old.
Based on what you've said, it sounds like she's doing this thing that's a little bit like the child is an accessory. My friends all have a coach bag. My friend just got a coach bag. The coach bag is the real cool thing right now. I want to be like my friends and have a coach bag. I love it. I love theirs. My friend's getting all this attention from everyone. Everybody, because her coach bag's so cool. Everybody tells her how pretty that coach bag is. Look at the attention she's getting. I want to be like that. You've got to be careful with that, bro. Skye, what did you find out about, what is it called again, Skye? It's a Nuva ring. Nuva ring. Yeah, it's a flexible contraceptive ring that's about two inches in diameter, and you insert it once a month. The muscles in your vagina will keep it in place for three weeks. During that time, it slowly releases a low dose of hormones that are needed to prevent pregnancy.
When 21 days are complete, you simply remove it, you have your menstrual cycle, and then you put a new ring in. So you have to do this yourself every 21 days? Yes. Betty is right. Yeah. Cody, be careful. Yeah. You know, Cody, you know, be sure that she's doing this. Yes, yes, I'm sure. And is this a process, Sky, that a woman can do on her own? Or does it say that you need to go to a doctor? No, yeah, you do it on your own. Oh, man. Cody, Eddie is right. Be careful. It's garbage. You got to watch how you say stuff. You got to watch how you say stuff. But I think that what he's saying is... The man can know. The man can know. And I think that Eddie's point still stands. You've got to make sure that you know, Cody. Other people are calling in. I'm going to take some more calls. P1, Stephanie, are you there? I am. Go ahead. Good morning. I don't know about the coach bag thing, but let me give you some background about me. I married at 19 after being with my husband since I was 15 and he was 17. And we actually did have the kid conversation because I come from a very, very broken home. And so did he. And we didn't want to raise our kids in anything less than giving them everything they needed. There could be school projects, clothes, dances, food, diapers. I mean, it's ridiculous. One of my friends, I actually told you guys about her.
is 22 and married somebody who's 47. They don't have jobs. They don't really work. And they just had a baby. And life is so hard for them. Granted, you know, they love their kids. They love their life. But whatever time he has left on this earth with her has now been taken up by them putting all their energy into their child. You want to enjoy each other. I mean, we've been together six years and I just started to want to have a baby. And I kind of got like, Jennifer did. But you've got to be strong. And if you're strong, she'll come over to your side. He's been really strong. Actually, he's my birth control Nazi. I take the pill. I've taken the pill for six years ever since we've been together. And he makes sure I take it every night. That's awesome. It's a good idea. It's like a game, though. Because if she's really there with you and she wants to do everything together with you and you're a team, she'll just go along with it. God, I hope she doesn't go around behind your back. That's totally horrible. Yeah. Thank you. Cody, ask her what she's planning on doing on her 21st birthday with the kid. Where is the kid going to be on your 21st birthday, Jennifer? Well, see, now, personally, this is just my opinion.
But I think that you start hitting her with all this stuff. What is she going to do? She's going to give you the answers that she thinks that will be the right answer. So you can say to her, what are you going to do on your 21st birthday? And Jennifer's going to go, I think my baby is a little bit more important than me getting loaded and blah, blah. And so now you're putting yourself in a position of vulnerability. She's got a good answer. Now what? I mean, the right thing is I'm not ready, Jennifer. I'm not ready. We both need to be ready. Yeah, we're a team. And you can't get angry at me for not being ready. I'm just not ready. That's not my fault. It's the way I feel. And I've already told you, I want to have kids. Now's not the time. P1P1 is on the line. Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up, dude? So, yeah, man, straight up to the point. I mean, I didn't hear many of the, I guess, advice. On my end, you know, I was in his same situation 10 months ago, but I went ahead and did it. Man, that whole night, well, we're due any day. So just the preparation for everything, man, cost us like a few thousand dollars, man, buying the crib, the stroller, all that, man. And, man, I want to cry, man. This is, you know, it hurts really, seriously, man. Emotionally, she will drain you, dude.
And financially also, too, if you're not financially stable. So wait a minute. Now, hang on, P1. Enjoy your life and everything, dude. Now, hang on. Let me ask you some questions, bro, before you go. So you were in the same situation where you didn't feel ready, right? Correct. And your wife somehow convinced you to do it? Yeah, man. I mean, because her cousin just gave birth. And that same night that we, I guess it happened, we went to one of her co-workers' house. And I saw the baby, and that moment, I got caught up in the moment, and I was like, oh, she's so beautiful. Okay, let's do it. And, man, that one shot, you know, a couple weeks later or months later, whatever, I'm pregnant. I'm like, damn. That's when reality really struck, when she actually says, I'm pregnant. Whoa. Yeah, and that's something you really got to tell her that. I mean, and that's the same. It's going to be the same for her. I mean, wait until she figures. It is. Because she was a smoker, she was a drinker. I mean, boom, right off the bat, she quit all that, and she's been having withdrawals since then. And right now, at this point, she's like, I can't wait until I give birth. I can't wait for that first beer, that first cigarette. Oh, great. That's awesome. Oh, boy. Priorities. Oh, boy. All right, P1, P1. Good luck. That's good that you guys had this email today, because I got a laugh off my chest today, because, I mean, hearing this when I first turned on my car, I was like, wow.
This is the same situation I'm going to, man. That's why I love the show and I sing it every day, man. Hey, dude, listen. I'm going to pray for you and I want you to remember something. Thanks, Mikey. I want you to remember something, bro. Can you give me your actual first name? It's Jesus. Hey, Jesus. I want you to know something. I know you're all jacked up and you're scared and all that stuff right now. Yes, I am. Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? It's a girl. I'm going to tell you, I know that this is not something that you had planned on, that this is not something that you wanted, but I'm going to tell you as a father of a 15-month-old, coming up on 15 months, I'm going to tell you that when you see that little girl for the first time, a lot of these feelings are going to be made a lot better for you, and you're going to feel a lot better when you see that little girl for the first time, and something chemical. happens in your brain that says, I will give my life for this little girl. And that's a pretty cool thing. So what you're going to need to work on between you and your wife is getting into some sort of, and a lot of times they're offered for free, getting into these classes that will teach you to be prepared for the things that you're about to experience. Because being prepared for stuff is the best thing for you.
You don't walk out into the woods and spend a week there without bringing the right stuff with you, the right provisions. So get your baby provisions in line, bro. Will do, man. Thanks, dude. We read books, but, I mean, that could only do so much. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, listen, the books help. And let me tell you a good DVD. Go on to Amazon and get this DVD before you have the baby. Get it today, okay? Okay. DVD is called The Happiest Baby on the Block. I'm telling you, man, our neighbors got us that DVD and it was like some sort of weird magic. It's like that book, I mean, that DVD, dude, will change everything for you guys. It will help you so much. Get a DVD called The Happiest Baby on the Block. Well, if it's more than $10, I can't afford it right now. Then write me an email. Write me an email. All right, man. Do not forget to write me an email. All right, we'll not, man. All right, bro. All right, thanks. We'll see you. Cody, I wish you the best, dude. And you just got to start telling her. You got to start telling her what's up and how you're feeling. You have to do that. You have to tell her how you're feeling and that you're just not ready. All right, brother. Good luck, Cody. Mikey. Yeah. Two weeks ago, I heard you talking about a CD that's coming out that you guys are doing or something. The best of. Yeah, our best of CD. How do I get it? Well, we're going to be giving the information about it soon because.
uh, it's coming out soon. It's in production. It's in production. It's coming out soon. And like we were going over the artwork for it yesterday and we were doing all that stuff. And so it's coming out and very soon on the radio, I'll have information about it. The CD. All right. Thanks, Mikey. All right, man. We'll see you. So is Lindsay drinking again? I mean, I guess the fact that, uh, I'm asking the question is weird and not a good indication of the answer. Talked about this a little earlier. If you missed it, don't go anywhere. Morning, family. Bon Jovi. And I'm not kidding. That's quite a way from Shot Through the Heart. Sounds like that song, what was that, Up There in the Trees or something by that guy on Rockstar. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Marty Casey. Oh, I love that song. Doesn't this sound like it? It does. Up in the trees. Yeah.
It's just you and me up in the trees. It's not original. It's 902. Rapper Usher is a daddy. His wife gave birth to a baby boy Monday night. Former Chargers kicker John Carney signs with the rival Chiefs. Uh-oh, we're going to see him this weekend. Really? How about that? How old is he now? 57? Yeah. He is an older guy, man. He's in his 40s. That guy's been going at it for a long time, John Carney. Went to the University of Notre Dame. Hello. Well, a lot of people have been asking for it. We're going to get to it in just a little bit. It's Oh Holy Night. And so we're going to be getting to it in a little bit. Are you saying second page, Ash? What are you saying? I'm saying two minutes. Oh, oh, oh, oh. So we'll be getting to it in just a minute. People love it. They love when we play O Holy Night. It's my favorite version. Well, yeah. It's so pretty. This is audio from a diversity video shown to city employees in Denver. The video was pulled after a white employee said it unfairly singled out whites as racist and sexist. Since it was only a white guy who was saying the inappropriate things. Cut six. Funny thing about humor in the workplace is that sometimes it is funny, that is.
In fact, it can be embarrassing, hurtful, maybe even illegal. Un momento, Carlos. Déjame revisar la situación con Andy. Hey, Andy, I've got Carlos on the line. The supplies they've been waiting for still haven't arrived, and they can't do anything else until they get there. What is his problem? He can't make breakfast, burritos without a supplies, or techo siesta? Never stopped him before. Unfortunately, some of the most popular types of jokes are those that make fun of people. A Mexican, a Jew, and a black dude walk into a bar. So a Polak and a midget get caught in a thunderstorm. So the minister... I'm surprised that they actually did this. Yeah. Is this made by Michael Scott on The Office? I'm kidding. I know it. This is crazy. Unpause. Polak and a midget get caught in a thunderstorm. So the minister turns to the rabbi and says, How many blondes does it take to screw in a light bulb? Woo!
More fairies than a Shakespeare play, you know what I mean? We've all heard those jokes, and probably told more than a few. Problem is, if you're the brunt of the joke, it's not very funny. In fact, it can be downright nasty, especially in the workplace. After listening to it, I'm surprised that the deal is that what they're upset about is that it's only white people making the jokes. Kind of secondary. What I would think they would be mad about... is that they give examples of Polak jokes, Jew jokes. Mexican jokes. I mean, they give the example. People will be watching and be like, oh, good one. I'll write that one down. Tell that to my buddy tomorrow. Lindsay Lohan. According to Lindsay Lohan's friends, Lindsay is drinking, but very moderately. So it's all good then.
Yeah, what was the statement that they made to the New York Post? The New York Daily News. New York Daily News. What did her friends say to the New York Daily News? Quote, in the past, it wasn't the drinking that was the problem. It was heavy drug use. As long as she isn't doing drugs, she's okay. Ah. I'm drunk. Perfect. And they are experts. Yippers. Yeah, well, that's too bad if she's doing that. You can't get addicted to alcohol. It's fine. Well, not only that, but when you drink alcohol, it doesn't lower your inhibitions or anything like that. Your judgment is not impaired by any means. You're sharpened. That's right. We have, at times, discussed on the show openly how Sky can be a bit of a drama queen. We have said this. That is true. That is not true. We have discussed it. That is true. Well, we've discussed it, but it's not true. Fine. I'm a drama queen. I'm a drama mama. I'm going to go check myself into the ER right now. See, that's sarcasm.
That wasn't a direct quote. That was an admission. That sounded like a hidden camera in a documentary. I'm a drama queen. I'm a drama mama. I'm going to go check myself into the ER right now. Let's just move along. What I think about that is I think that it's very brave for you to be able to admit that you are a drama queen. I was being sarcastic. I also think that it was very brave of you to actually be able to Record and sing a song about you being a drama queen. What? What is this? I didn't record a song. Oh, yeah, you did. Take a listen. I'm feeling good, man. Wait. Oh, my. Feeling fresh. I'm feeling sexy. And I'm feeling honey baked. And a one and a two and a one, two, three. I can die. I am sky. I like interpretive jobs. What? Look at me, can't you see? I am the drama queen. I apologize for my behavior because I was really sick. I was throwing up here, I went home, I was throwing up at home. Early morning and I'm on the show. Mispronouncing and in the flow. Man, I wish we played music and I didn't have to be having to read and speak.
I had just been conversating. It's conversing. The guy is making me want to cry. Life was better when I was hot. With a single day, I really earned my pay. And if you didn't, the drama. You guys are weak. Since that time of the month, I'm really sunburnt. I think I need to call mother. Yes, again. Yes, it's me. Will you come get me? I have a sunburn. Of course I'm being serious. Okay. If you take me to your place and we'll look for a water bottle, we'll put urine in it and it'll cure me. We'll call guys at first. Make sure that they're aware of this. Get those blades moving. Don't be so slow. Not that funny. I feel a headache coming on. I'm starting to hyperventilate. There it is. Listen. I mean, why? Out of nowhere. That was really cool. That wasn't me. I mean, Skye, I thought that was really cool of you to even just get out there and just say that. Oh.

The crazy college football coaching carousel continues. Colorado State fires Sonny Lubick, and Ole Miss hires Houston Nut. That is weird. Yeah. That's weird. P1 Ramsey is on the line, ladies and gentlemen. Hello, Ramsey. Hey, what's up? That's not Ramsey. What's up, Ramsey? I got to say, that song was so funny, I almost crashed a Donkey Kong 2. Oh, I'm sure. Well, it is called the Honky Kong 2 now. Lame. different now. The email subject is Sky's new song. It says, that was amazing. Sky can really sing. She really can. I mean, I thought you had those high notes pretty good, Sky. Whatever. One of the funniest songs I've heard, maybe Ramsey can make a surprise duo with Sky. That was great. That's P1 Sebastian. Yeah, they're called duets, Sebastian. Not duos. Shoot the messenger. Jeez.
This one's the best song ever. Thank you for that beautiful song. Pretty sure it's my new fave. Please play it every hour on the hour. Love the show. P1 Sabrina. Not a bad idea. The votes are in, Sky. P1 Talon's on the line. Hi, Talon. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. And beating. There he is. There he is. It's Talon. So creative and fresh, Talon. I just got to say, Mikey, that was the funniest thing I've ever heard. You really got to do more things that you specifically do, you know, like the Mikey's Gay Pod and things like that. You don't really do a whole lot of that stuff anymore. Well, to be honest with you, I'm not a fan of them. Well, the P1s are. Everyone else is. I'll just be speaking from the heart. I don't like those bits. So thank you very much. I appreciate it. P1KK. Yes, that was the best one ever and could be the entire best of CD. Wow!
Stop people. Enough. Enough. Sky did a great job. Listen, Sky. When credits do, we got to give it. Shut up. You were the best. You did a great song. You should get a Grammy. Or a hammy. Oh, that would be good. Oh, you're so creative. A hammy would be good. A hammy would be good. Oh, yeah. Ham is funny. Great. I like ham. I like it too, Sky. I don't know why you have to yell that out. That wasn't me. That's a stupid clip. Oh. I thought you were screaming that out randomly in the middle of the show. Enough. Move on. Well, there you go. It's lame. I like ham. Shrek the Halls is on TV tonight on ABC. Maybe it'll become a new classic. Cut 34. Tomorrow's Christmas Eve. All right, I'm out already. You mean you haven't trimmed your stockings or hung your chestnuts or roasted the tree? Donkey, will you get it through your thick head? No one here gives a hoot about Christmas. A white Christmas. Oh, how perfect. And it's our first one together as a family. Isn't this exciting? Uh, oh yeah. How about that? Princess, I think there's a little something Shrek needs to do. Don't ruin the surprise for her, donkey. They did this just for TV? Yeah, I guess. My prediction? It will be gigantoid. Are you kidding? For sure. Oh, yeah. Oh, kids will love... What's the Shrek age?
Like, are we talking as young as, like, three, four years old? Maybe. I don't think they get it, but they probably like donkey and stuff like that. And are you 17 and you dig Shrek? No, I don't think it's cool if you're 17. No, you're out. I dig Shrek. Well, yeah. It's cool if you're an adult. Yeah, if you're an adult, it's okay. But I'm wondering, as a kid, when is it not, like, you can't say to your peers. Right. Hey, did you see Shrek the Halls last night? Like, what's the last age you can say tomorrow at school, hey, did you see Shrek the Halls last night? Who? 12. 12? Yeah, I was going to say 12. If you're 13 and you say that, you're getting... Yeah. laughed at. Are you getting your A kicked? Yeah. We're just putting it out there, letting you know, 13-year-olds. Enjoy it, but enjoy it. Don't ask, don't tell. Secretly. Right. Enjoy it secretly. Have you guys heard the new Christmas song by Ludacris? Stop it. What? There's a new Christmas song called Ludacrismas. No, stop it. Yeah, it's cut 33.
Thank you. Thank you. Dude, that's pretty awesome. That's pretty awesome. Talk about perpetuating the stereotype. I disagree. Pretty cool, man. I am on the opposite end. Really? That's terrible. I dug it. I loved the remix of the Christmas songs. I thought it sounded really cool. But when he started rapping, I'm out. Oh, that is garbage. You know what it comes from? You know what it comes from? The Fred Claus soundtrack. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Yeah, I mean, listen, I don't like this stuff about the drinking and all that stuff. Yeah, I mean, that's not like morally something that I follow, but...
It does, it sounds like really, I love the idea of doing like a rap Christmas song. Sounds cool. Would that be played in your house for the holidays? Of course not. Of course not. But in the privacy of my own adulthood, I would never expose Jake to it, but I thought it was kind of cute. I might bump it in the Scion. I call Shotgun. Come on, you guys. Get in the spirit. Nice. I know, Eddie, I know what I'll turn you up. This will change your mind. Now, this is a holiday classic. That's right. This will change your mind. It's just that you guys need to be more in the spirit. That's a problem. Hey, could you do that? Nope. Thank you. I love you. Wouldn't it be funny if, like, his friend put his arm around him and was, like, waving, like, no more, no more. That's it. I'm not done. Yes, you are. No, you're done. Come on. Let's go. Let's go. All you people that heard this, you all had fun, right? Nothing left to see or hear here. That's right. Let's go. Move along. Let's go. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Get out of here, all of you. Quit listening and get out of here. This is my friend. My favorite part is at the end when he runs out of breath, but he just doesn't let it stop his notes. He keeps going. Why would you let a stupid thing like breath stop a note? Hold you back.
Yeah. He's a professional. Don't let that hold you back. You trip. You don't even, you just keep going. P1, Brian is on the line, has a legitimate question for Ashley. Oh. Oh, I don't want it. No, thank you. Wait a minute. You can't say no thank you? Yes, you can. No, I'm good. No, thank you. It's very polite when you say no. It's legitimate. Well, wait a minute, guys. No, thank you. He's not offering. He has a question. It's a very, very legitimate question. Yeah, no, and I appreciate your question, and I'd rather not. You haven't heard it yet. So, no, thank you. What is your question? Ashley, was that your dad singing that song? I don't even get it. See? Should have listened. I should have listened. Rob? I'm just saying, when it comes to vocals, I mean, there's a connection there between your dad and Ashley. Oh, I get it. Like, brother would have worked out better. Like, is that your twin brother or something? I didn't get it at first. Eddie has a look on his face of disappointment with Rob right now that I can't... That I really can't... Ignore. Don't be disappointed, dude. I can't ignore it. I can't... Wait, so are you telling me that jokes you have to explain aren't funny? Is that what we're getting? I mean, is this what it's come to? That is untrue.
That is not true, Skye. Sometimes they're funnier. Yeah, a joke is actually funnier if you get the person's brain thinking about what the actual joke meant. Okay. Because... Layered. Yeah, yeah. It's layered. All right. P1, Brian. Yes. What did you want to say? Okay, I have a question for all of you guys. Well, first of all, how old are you, Brian? I am 15. Okay, go ahead. Okay. So, I heard you guys say that the age that you guys were talking about for Shrek the Halls is 12. That's what we thought. We were taking a guess. Oh, well, I'm 15, and I can't wait till tonight. Okay, now, my question to you is... My question to you is because I believe that there's a lot of 15, even 16, even 17-year-olds maybe that can't wait for tonight for the show Shrek the Halls to come on TV. My question is tomorrow when you go to school, will you feel comfortable saying to your peers that are also 15, hey, guys, I watched Shrek the Halls last night. Oh, yeah. Really? Yeah, we're all going to be talking about it. Wow. Okay. Listen.
Then I... Sky? Uh-oh. Are we getting a greetings meter? Is that a science lab or chess club? Okay. I'm asking a question. Brian, I don't want you to read into what Eddie is saying. too much, you know, take it at face value. Don't try to analyze. Don't try to analyze what Eddie is saying because a lot of times... My fellow nerds and I will retire to the nerdery with our calculators. Okay, with that clip, don't read into the clip. Don't try to analyze the clip. If you think too much into that clip, it'll give you a headache. Thank you, Brian. I have a question for you. Wait, wait, wait. Ashley's got a question for you. Okay. How come you're not in school right now? How come I'm not in school? I'm not ditching or anything. I just got back from my appointment. Okay, thank you very much. We appreciate it. You just got back from an appointment. What do you want from him? Yeah, you think a kid who ditches school is going to be proud about watching Shrek the Hall? Oh, Sky, come on. Well, I'm just saying. I don't see the two going together. I don't see the two. Don't analyze that either. No, he had a permission slip.
He kicked him off. Went to his appointment. He was happy to get his teeth cleaned because it makes them healthier. Dental hygiene. Thank you very much. What do you want from him? We don't know what appointment it was. Shrek. So he had a dermatology appointment to fix the acne. There's nothing wrong with that. He needs the clean skin. We don't know what the appointment was. You know, it could have been anything. I think it would be wrong to try to figure out what the... Mikey Show, hello. We're in classes. Okay. Hey, this is P1 Schmuko. Isn't the Grinch Distilled Christmas on after that Shrek show? It is. Oh, yeah. It is. On tonight, ABC. What time, Eddie? 830? 830. Eddie is so happy. Why? Love the Grinch. Okay. P1 Rude Dog. How old are you? Hey, how's it going, Mike? Old enough, lady. What's going on, Rude Dog? You know, I didn't catch that whole song. I only caught the last line of it. Don't lie to us, Rudolph. How dare you? Hey, I had a legitimate and inappropriate request to hear it again. Are you talking about Drama Queen, the song that Sky recorded? I did not record that. I don't think I heard it either. Everyone heard it already. Oh, no. Well, let's roll it again for the people that didn't get to hear it. How about we don't? Oh, gosh. I'm feeling good, man. Okay. I'm feeling fresh.
I'm feeling sexy and I'm feeling honey baked. And a one and a two and a one, two, three and I can dance. I can style. I like interpretive jazz. Look at me. Can't you see? I am the drama queen. I'm not apologizing for my behavior because I was really sick. I was throwing up here. I went home. I was throwing up at home. Early morning and I'm on the show. Mispronouncing and in the flow. The Mikey Show's on. 105.3. It's 941. Amy Winehouse has officially canceled the remaining dates of her UK tour. Canceled, everyone. Yes, I kind of flubbed a word. Oh, my God. Having to read and speak. Oh, no. Stop it. I mean, on the heels of the song. I'm kind of flustered right now. On the heels of the song. I'm kind of flustered. I've been flustered for six years. It's not so perfect. P1 in training is on the line. Hey, how you guys doing today? Good. I wanted to know, where can I get that Drama Queen song? I love it. I got to get Eddie's opinion on this.
Eddie is my right-hand man. He is my executive producer. Yes. Eddie, do we save this for something? Or do we make it available? I think we could put it online. I'm already voting for that for best of next year. It's that good. We can put it on the line. Put it on the boat. But yeah, I think we could do both. I think people will want it either way. All right, we'll podcast it. What about your opinion from your left-hand man over here? Yes, my left-hand man, Boston Rob. What do you think, Rob? I agree with Eddie. We should put it on mine. Great song. Shut up. What? Get back to putting bad phone calls on. Oh, we got to tell the story. Will do. What? So he comes in here, right? So Rob comes in here. I want Ashley to hear this. I want Ashley to hear it. She's screaming at somebody on the phone. I don't know who she's on the phone. Ash, can you hear me? Ash, can you hear me? Ash, can you hear me? Ash, can you hear me? Ash, can you hear me? I want you to hear this story. Listening. Oh, good. She responded. That was great. She goes, I'm listening. And then she takes her headphones off and starts screaming at the person on the phone. Yeah.
She's listening in one ear. Oh, good. I want to know who she's talking to. What's happening? I don't know, but she's super animated. Who were you talking to? Flounder. Oh, oh, oh. Okay, listen. Zeth, is your cell phone ringing? I got like four voicemails right now. Okay. You're in trouble. What do you mean? What do you mean? That was her. She was calling Zeth. Screaming at him? That's a whole other story. Stop it. I got to write that down. No, you didn't. Oh, what? I got to remember to talk about Zets. Oh, no, dude. Oh, what? What? No, no, no. About what? Before the show. Oh, come on. I got to hear about this. Interesting. Can't wait. In Sky's eyes. Look at Rob trying to get out of this thing. Can't wait. In Sky's eyes right now. Let's talk about my thing. In Sky's eyes right now. I just saw. Yeah, go ahead. Can't wait. Let's go. No, that's not true. There's a part of you. Be honest. Don't let Rob off the hook. Yeah, do my thing now. Do my thing now? Talk about me. Rob comes into the studio during the commercial break. Rob comes in here and I go, dude, that phone call was weird.
I said, I didn't read what the comment was. All I saw was I have a legitimate question for Ashley. I said, so I figured it'd be funny. I said, so I took it. And he goes, what was wrong? I go, it was just weird. I didn't get it. And there's a long pause and he goes, I got it. I did though. And Sky goes, well, as long as you got it. That's all that matters. Show those two or three more people. And so Rob says, Rob goes, well, dude, you know, that guy's been calling all morning long and he thought that was so funny. And I go, he was calling with the same joke? Yeah. And you didn't put him through? No. Well, then what finally made you put it through? On the sixth time he called, what made it funny? It finally got funny. I mean, who knows? It's garbage. I don't know. I figured. If you call back that much, it must be good. It's got to be hilarious. So weird. Idiot. You're welcome. Now people know the secret. All they have to do is just keep calling. Multiple times. With a bad phone call, and eventually he'll put it through. Subject is Sky's song. Sky, you and I have the same singing style, and we have to make a duet. Yours truly, Liza Minnelli. Signed, P1 Berga.
Hey, Mikey, love the show. What's the song that you played after coming back from commercials around 8 o'clock? You said it chills you out. I love it, but don't know who plays it. I'd appreciate it. God bless P1 Alex. The artist is a guy by the name of Matt Kearney. Matt Kearney. Matt Kearney. Hey, Matt Kearney. And the song is called Nothing Left to Lose. Something's in the air tonight. The sky's alive with the burning light. Come up my words. Something's about to break. Matt. Matt. Kearney. Matt Kearney. Matt Kearney the frog. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. You can laugh. I know you think it's funny. I think that's funny. If I found it, I would feel free to laugh. Subject is sky. Get her. Dear Sky, I think you have a great voice and that song was bloody good. I was wondering if you were available for a drink on Saturday night in Vegas. Did I mention I love rich white women? Looking forward to seeing the blades on your chopper? Signed, Orenthal James Simpson. It's P1 Jared that wrote that one. Careful about that one, Sky. I don't think it's real. I better throw it out. I would throw it out. Eddie! Who said that? You! What?
No, the song. Bring it back. It was good. That was mellow. I will not tell this story until I feel confident that there will be no repercussions against Zed. Never going to happen. Not on my part. I'm good. No, not on your part. You know what I'm saying, Eddie. Oh, somebody else? Who could you be? Ashley. I'd like to tell a story, but before I tell the story, I would like for you. As the governor of Ashleyville. Oh. To give... Governor of Meantown. President. I would like you to give a reprieve to... Come on. Our boy Zed. It'll be funny. Do easy, grr. Do not... It's not bad. It's really not bad. It's very... It's very nothing. Whimsical. It's very whimsical. Oh, yeah. Whimsical. Okay. You're saying okay. Okay.
You will not IM him. You will not IM him, right? Maybe we should have her come in here. Come in here. Just be nice. And have them sit next to each other. That's awesome. For sure. Dude, look at Zeth. His leg is shaking. It's so bizarre to me that Zeth is 6'3". He's got to weigh over 200 pounds. She is 5'6". And he is scared of her like you would not believe. Like, he's literally shaking. Right now, he is the dog who has just watched his master roll up the newspaper. Eddie, should we have him sit next to him? Zed, come over and sit. He's like, no, no, no, no, no. You know how the dog is digging its legs? Putting its legs and like trying to hail between his legs. Oh, wow. Ashley's looking at him and he's not looking at her. Ash, don't look at him. Come on. Don't look at him. Look at me. Look at his face. Ashley, don't look at him. Oh, no. Ashley, he's putting a newspaper up between them because she's just staring. She's going to roll me up and hit me up. Oh, man. Ash, it was funny. It was very funny what happened. Let me tell you this story. Oh, he's going for a hug. Oh, awkward. Bad move. Awkward. Let me explain, Ash. Oh, no.
Before the show started this morning, we were asking everybody how their days went yesterday, if anything interesting happened. Ashley said, yeah, I pulled my hamstring yesterday. And it was during my yoga and blah, blah, blah. And I said, okay, so I wrote it down. And when she said that, she said, yeah, Seth thought I should bring that up. Right, right, right. And when she said that... Well, it didn't matter. Like, it wasn't interesting enough to me to bring up on the air. And so I was like, well, in my head, I thought, nice suggestion, Zeth, but don't like it. So she walked out. Well, when she walked out, Zeth goes, he goes, well, it was kind of funny. She said it was her handspring. Pulled her hand string. Or what was it? Ham, ham, ham spring. Which I did think was hysterical. And I said, so wait a minute. So I go, right now, by the way, Ashley just staring at me. So I say to Zeth, I go, why didn't you say that? And he's like... That's what he said? I go, why didn't you say that when she was in here? And he goes... Obvious reasons. Yeah, he was hoping she would repeat herself and say it's wrong again. Now, Ash, don't you feel bad that poor Zeth...
is so afraid of making you upset that he couldn't even tell us that story. Doesn't that make you feel bad? Yes. Yeah, so you should... So right now, what you should do... Is that a question? What you should do... Did she just get used the P word? Yes, she did. Hey! Wait a second. I mouthed it. Hang on a second. Hey! Wait a second, Ash. How can you call him the P word if the guy's been beaten into submission? Oh, has he? Oh, no. I'm so sorry, Seth. I'll ease up on you. I'm going to help him. You've got to see his body posture right now. He's slumped over. Lip quivering. Ash, we're going to make it easier for Seth. Do you remember what it was like being the freshman on the show? Yes. But now you're a mean senior, so you've got to change. Mean girls. And now you're one of the mean girls.
Now listen, you remember what it was like to be a freshman. Of course I do. It was hell. Remember they used to call you dog? That wasn't us. That was when she was actually robbed. Was that not a fact? Ashley looking at me right now like, what was that? It was when I was 10, bro. So I got this story wrong. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It didn't even make sense. It's like the first time you've talked this morning. Why would you say that to her, ma'am? Because I was trying to illustrate a point. It didn't even make sense, bro. You're just trying to throw it out there. It didn't make sense. Mikey's getting a chuckle out of it. No, that wasn't right. How stupid you are, bro. I am stupid. I don't care. He was talking about how he used to haze me and Eddie used to haze me, not back when I was 10. Swim team. And I was getting made fun of with my fellow swim mates. Are you going to cry? That called me a dog. I got to be honest with you. About 7.30 this morning, I was thinking to myself, man, I hope the show's been going good today. I hope he won some solid time. But thanks for chiming in, Rob. Thanks. No problem, sweetheart. Really appreciate it and really worked out well for you. Okay, listen. This is about Zeth right now. Eddie's giving me the break side. I don't think this is going well. I thought we were all in a happy place. Ash, how is it that he does not talk all day long?
Well, Ashley, there's obviously an issue with Rob with you. I mean, obviously. The phones aren't ringing right now. I can talk right now. The one time he does, Eddie. Eddie. Eddie, you're egging on. He attacks you. He used to eat a lot of natural food. What causes? Gone are the long, lazy days of summer. Snow Riders. School's out for winter as Jeep presents Warren Miller's Playground. Because that's not legal in this state. No, wait, no, wait. Rob, if I'm being honest, I had to have a man-to-man and talk with you yesterday because you asked me about going to Robbins Brothers. That was one of the most hysterical things I've ever seen back in the office. Yeah. Rob is making me very nervous. He's asked me a lot of questions about Robbins Brothers. I just was wondering what they sell there. It went on 45 minutes until finally Eddie was like, dude, I'm not going to turn around. I'm going to talk to you. I pulled my chair around like three inches from his face and said, we're having a man-to-man. What website did you go on to? Robbinsbrothers.com. Yeah. Okay. The guy's on Robbinsbrothers.com. We're close enough in the important ways to make the steel work. But in the other ways, we challenge each other and we bring new ideas and new thoughts to what we do at the racetrack. Oh, and I'm straight. We were driving home from my mom and dad's last night. This is me and Jake. He's in the backseat, and we're behind this car with a Jeff Gordon sticker. And I go, son, don't trust 24 fans. That's all I'm telling you, son. Wow. I go, don't trust them. Life lesson. That's right. We're life lessons, I said. And listen, those of you listening right now that are 24 fans, you know you're saying to yourself, he's right. I'm not to be trusted. You know you're thinking it.
Team Rainbow. Is he still the Rainbow Warrior? Does he still go by the Rainbow Warrior? For sure. Why would you ever want to give that up? Oh my goodness. I can think of a couple of reasons. He's married again, isn't he? Oh yeah, like supermodel. Well, I mean, it's NASCAR, right? Yeah, you gotta overcompensate. Right. Well, in NASCAR, these men, these NASCAR drivers, they tend to date and marry. Very, very beautiful women. It's like a thing that they date. They are hillbillies. Are they drivers, you mean? Yeah. Yeah, they are. Yeah, they are. And so it surprises me that some of these gals... What? It doesn't surprise me. What am I talking about? Any guy with a lot of money or fame is going to get a hot chick. What if said guy is a real nice guy?
Well, then he'll get an even hotter chick. Real nice personality. Oh, I didn't think of that. That's true. Have you ever seen Carl Edwards? And have you seen his woman? This one says... This one says, Hey, Mikey, isn't ham spring something Sky would pull? Oh, that was... Well, maybe she would eat it. A ham spring roll? That's right. That's where she would love to drink. For your new P1, Sky loves ham. Loves it. She likes it. I like ham. Honey baked. Wasn't the song enough? I like ham. This subject is breaks. It said, Mikey, what happened to coming back on during commercial breaks? You guys were on that for a while, but unless I just tune out that bad breaks,
I don't think I ever heard you guys coming back on for a while. Well, the reason that I stopped is it was, you know, it was making them too long. It was just making them too long. And it was, in concept, very good. But it was making it too long. Well, we'll still do it every once in a while when something crazy happens. Breaking news. Yeah, when something real crazy happens in here, we still do it. I didn't want to do it just for the sake of doing it. Subject is P1 names. Hi, Mikey. I've been listening to you all for about a year now, and I love you and everyone on the show, even Sourpuss Sean, L-O-L. Sourpuss. You don't have to tell him I said that. F-U. Sean, that's a little rough. My question is, at what point can one say they are a true P1? Is a phone call to the show a requirement to be a P1, and can we just choose any name we want?
Thank you for your time and help. Signed, Robin in San Clemente. Yes, you can choose your own P1 name. You do not have to call to be a P1. However, if you do call and you want to consider yourself a P1, you better turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss. Know the rules. That is a P1. But I'm going to be really upfront about this. If you truly consider yourself a P1, You should be a member of the P1 Text Army. And that has nothing to do with, like, I don't get any credit. I don't get any money. I don't get anything out of it. We do the P1 Text Army for you. And it took me a long time to get this thing set up right. And it's been working. It took me a long time to get it set up right. There's no spam. We don't send you junk. We don't send you, like, we just don't. We don't sell your number. The only people that have your cell phone number when you do the text, I don't know who that was. That was Sky's Got Guilty Spring Throat Face. You know like when a spring goes off in your throat and it goes... So cute, Kyle. We don't sell anything to you. We don't send you junk. And nobody else has your cell phone number except for us. And we only use it to text you.
when something really funny happens on the show. For instance, we could send out a text right now that said, did you just hear Skye's throat go... To join the P1 Text Army, text the word Mikey to 35253. 35253. 35253. Your throat is creaky enough. You don't need more. Whoa. Eddie got a squint. Not nice. Eddie got a squint on that one. It says 351. 353. Robert. I call his name. He has to turn his mic on. I was just on the phone. Can't do both. So I've learned. Rob, have you and Ashley made up? Yeah. We're best friends again. So there was a talk? Yeah. There was?
It was a brief little discussion that, you know, she don't want to fight, I don't want to fight. That's good. This whole scenario started last week. Eddie was gone on Tuesday, right, Eddie? Wednesday. Wednesday. So you missed it. But we were on the air and Ashley said this. I really don't think it's a good idea to get involved with someone that you are on the same show with. Like, that is catastrophic. If that had been the case, Rob and I would already be, like, together for two years. Now, even though it was insincere, I thought it was a significant moment. I thought it was a very significant moment. I've told Rob privately. I'm trying to talk to you, Rob. Yeah, I'm sorry. I've told Rob privately. I said, listen, I think that that sounded very nice to hear. But I hope that you realize that she would never, ever. ever be with you. Even though she tried to... It was like a veiled thing. She was trying to make it sound like she kind of would. Like we would have been together. Why would you say that? Because it's true. But why is it necessary to say that? Because I don't ever want him to think that that could be true. But that doesn't even cross my mind. Doesn't need to. I understand that you have a girlfriend. I understand that you're very in love with her. I understand that. I just wanted to make sure that you knew that that
was an insincere comment that she would never actually, she, the minute you, like, let's say you and Sarissa were not together. Okay? God forbid. Let's say that you, God forbid you say it, Mike. God forbid. He gives himself the sign of the cross. God forbid. Mike, you say such a thing over here. He rips his clothes. But, if you were not with her, And even if you didn't work here anymore, all I'm saying... Oh, God forbid. Mike, how could you say such a thing? Because I want to be with you until your dying day. Yes. I want to serve you out. Yes. I want to watch you die. Yes. Wait, what? I want to watch the life, the last breath leave. Okay, it's getting creepy. Fat lips. I want to be there to smell it. It's getting very creepy. Suck it up with a straw. So you will be a part of me forever. Yes. In eternity.
I am your humble servant. Yes. Till you were to pass through my liver and be delivered as waste. Yes. But until that moment, I would want you to be with me forever. Yes. Good, sir. But I just wanted him to know, if you were not with your girlfriend and you did not work here, the minute you, like, took her up on what she said there, she would not go for it. And I just wanted you to know that and to be sure of that. Okay. Because... I wouldn't. I understand. I understand. You're prideful. And I just want you to know that it would not happen. And that she would say to you, oh yeah, I didn't mean any of that. She would, you know what I mean? Now, I think that she would like kind of, until you made a move, put it out there. And then when the move was made and it was like push comes to shove, the answer would be, oh, well. I think it's important. Okay.
I don't think that I would go for that if I was in this so-called position. A hollow note said it first, and now you've said it. You won't go for that. No candle. No candle, Mike. I won't go for that. Whoa, no. No candle. I would rather be with Zeth. That's right. Truth be known, I'd rather be with Zeth. But Ashley, I won't go for that. No, no. You don't mean it. No, I won't go for that. Oh, no. But my girlfriend, no, I won't go for that. No, no. God forbid. Want to be there when you die. Michael Spaza. Wait. So is there a point to that spiel? Yes. Paul Barron, number one, right here. Yes, Mike, I know this may seem like a creepy question, but when you die, may I carry your coffin? I'll wear a glove, I swear. This is getting so weird. I don't know what's going on anymore. Hey, Mike, I know this may seem inappropriate. A little morbid, maybe. This may seem a little morbid at 37 years of age.
When you die, which I... When you pass to the big man upstairs. Yeah. When you pass to the big man upstairs, would it be okay with you if I were to stand in arms with your brothers to carry a fat dead corpse? Oh, would it be weird? It would mean so much to me. Would it be weird if I operated the wench that laid you down into the art? Would that seem... And I ask you this as your humble servant. Michael, would you do me the great honor of blessing this shovel so that I could pour the dirt on your cold dead skin? So that I could shovel dirt on your cold dead body. Listen, I know you think it's weird that my brother is standing here videotaping this, but will you, just for prosperity's sake, kiss this shovel and say goodbye to me? And say yes. Look at the camera, Mike. Will you say it to the camera? Say goodbye message. To me, please. Say you love me in there. I'll watch it over and over again until that tape's worn out. I promise you this. Just if you could, look at the camera, Mike. It's like you're saying goodbye to me from beyond. Would you do me the honor of haunting me? Fine. I'm not saying anything about your health, dude. I want to hear.
I'm just, I'm a observant person. I mean, I was pretty good at math. You know, maybe just like some poltergeist stuff. Could you sign this right here? Don't ask me what it is. I don't want to get too weird. Would that be weird? Mike, being that we've known each other as long as we have, would it be weird if I asked you for an autograph? On this legal paper. On this legal pad. And, like, it says there, well, just don't put anything. Your name is all. Yeah, that's all I need. Just your signature in black. Oh, my God. This is my friend, Paul. He's a notary. But don't notice him. Yeah. He's just here. He wanted to meet you. He wanted to notice you. Notary guy is like, okay, Marky, well, no, Mikey.
Come on, Paul. Paulie, I told you. Paulie. Paulie. Paulie's my friend and a big time P1, which is a Mikey show listener. You know, and he said he really want to meet you. Right, Paulie? And observe you signing my autograph. Yeah, because I told him it would mean a lot to me. And him. If you did. And him, it would mean a lot to Paulie. He has keen powers of observation. Hey, Mike. Just a weird question here. Is your plasma accounted for? Weird question. And you know what? Forget it. I don't even care. Another time. Today's not the right day. Another time, another place. Hopefully. Soon. Hopefully. Hey, I got that literature on bungee jumping. I wasn't asking for any of it. No. Oh, it wasn't. It wasn't you. But it is. We'll just leave it. Yeah. Look at it at your leisure. Peruse it if you must.
I got all that info on spelunking you wanted to know about. I'll just send it here. For another time. When you're bored. Yeah. You know, when you're eating. Don't need to be bothered with it now. Hey, dude, I heard rattlesnake season's back. I wouldn't do that hiking if I was you. Do you have any allergies? Just curious. How old is your car? The last time you had a brake inspection. Yeah. When was the last time your lug nuts were checked? Ah, the Robbie show. It's got a ring to it, don't it? Holy cow, man. You know, God forbid. God forbid. God forbid. God forbid. Knock on wood. Yeah, boy, would that be a sullen day, you know, of such a day. Yes. But just in case, dude, that toolbox you got is, you know, caught my eye.
Forget it. Forget it. Let's stop talking about it. I don't want nothing. Blast for me. Yes. I drink to you. Here you go. You want one? You're about due. Tell you, Michael. May you live long. Oh, man. I forgot how good that beer tasted. Really wets my whistle. Hey, Mike. Salute. Tell you. Good kid. You got a loose shingle up there, Mike. I'll hold the ladder. Hurry up. Scooch on up there. Get on up and get it. Use the top rung. Hey, wait a minute. I'll try to dislodge it. Let me spray some water on it. Now be careful. It's slippery. God forbid. You want to go skydiving, you daredevil?
You rascal. P1 Roach is on the line. What's up, Roach? Please tell me you are. This is hilarious, man. I'm sitting here trying to study, and I can't stop laughing. Ten minutes of Boston Rob trying to get included in my will. God forbid, of course. Yeah, yeah. Please. Don't even say it. Damn, Mike. Cut it out. Please. Blasphemy. I don't want this. That would be awful. Sign right there. Paulie, do you have to sign it, too? Oh, what's the deal? Oh, shouldn't he be dating that as well? Mike, you know that is a legal document, a binding contract. It's a binding contract. Not that it matters. I don't want anything. Mike, I don't even want the contract. Please. Care it up or not. Yes, or don't. Or don't. Or...
Put it in a safe where it won't burn if there's more fires. Because I can't afford one. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah, please. See you in probate. I mean, tomorrow. Can't you see Mike needs some more red meat over here? Somebody get this guy a hamburger. When are you going to run with those bulls, dude? Seriously. Don't let life run out on you. I'll kick it. I'll go with you. You know, seize a dream, dude. What is that old saying? Seize the day. Copies diem. Yeah, copies diem, dude. Come on. Seize the cops. Cop it the diem. Got some great airfare for Spain. They say it's going to be beautiful there this time of year. So I got you these sandals to run in. They're more like flip-flops, but...
You'll be fine. They really are fast, dude. They don't even really chase you. I heard those bricks are a fast surface. They drug the bulls. Yeah. You know what, dude? Take life by the horns. Literally. Yeah. Yeah, like when you say grab onto the horns. Yeah, grab on the horns and be like, you can't stop me. Take life or death by the horns. Yeah. I don't think that's exciting. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No. Here is a pair of shorts to run in made of hay. Everything's in red. Don't ask why. It's Spain's colors. Yes, they love it. Nike show. Fine. That was me that time. Was it? On the throat spring. It happens to. It happens to the best of us. You guys. No! How dare you? It happens to all of us. And he's better than the throat spray. You know it. Sky has details on the most influential men, and it's from Details Magazine. It's the most, the 45 list of the most influential men. Yeah, men under 45. Huh? What is it? Details Magazine, their list of the most influential. Details has the details on.
The most. The 45. Stop it. The most influential men under 45. Top 25. Under 45. Under 45. The top 40. Referring to their age. Under 45 years old. This is top 40? Stop it. Top. Is it a top? Well, they list 50 of them, but I have the top 10. All right. Can we guess? Yes. Mel Gibson. He's older than 45. Yeah, again, the most influential. Bela Lugosi. David Hasselhoff. Okay, well, and to be honest. Timberland. Joey Suzu. Who? Wow. Wow. Joey Suzu. What? Wow. No, you're way over 45. I'm 44. No, you're like 85. I just made the cut. No, you didn't. Because I washed that gray right out of my head. Stop it. You know I washed that gray right out of my head. Stop. That's an old, old, ancient Chinese secret. All right, thank you, George Takai. Not exactly. Thank you. You're not on the list. You're not on the list, Takai.
Yeah, so there's a couple names on here, but they're kind of random. It's more like categories of people. Mark Cuban. Not in the top ten, though. Bill Gates. What about Antonio Gates? Ooh. Again, there's only actually a couple names. Matthew McConaughey. There's only actually a couple names. McConaughey. McConaughey. There's only a couple names on here. It's more like categories. How about Zeth? Ew. Oh. Why'd you say ew? Teddy. What is that? Finn's dead, baby. Poor Zeth. Sitting in the corner just trying to... Who is he influencing the penis game? Right. Poor guy's in the corner trying to make sure Ashley can't see him. Yeah. I don't blame him. You know, for four and a half hours, Zeth tries to avoid eye contact with Ashley. For four and a half hours. You'd think it'd be tiring. Exhausting for the poor guy. He gets it done, though. I gotta give him credit. Here's people calling in with guesses. P1 Blaine. How about K-Fed? Yes, K-Fed is number seven. Him and Larry Burkhead are... Why K-Fed, Blaine? Why do you think K-Fed?
Or did you see the list? Honestly, I read the list already. I see, I see. Well, thank you. Good guess. Good guess. Good guess, yeah. Number seven is The Good Fathers, and they list K-Fed and Larry Burkhead. P1 Grimm? Dr. Feinstein. Oh, yeah, Dr. Feinstein. Where did he... Goldfinger. Well, he's dead, so obviously... Goldfish. Not on the list. Not in the top ten. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. On the list? Matt Damon. Not in the top. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. These are all the top 40 most influential men under 25. Did we guess? Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. All right. Check the list. Tyler Florence. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. What about... Oh.
James Van Der Beek. Ah, is James Van Der Beek on there? Put it. Put it. Put it. Check it. Check it. Same category. Ashley's ex, Cereal. Is he on the list? Why would he? Boy, Blunder. He was influential. Well, no. Blunder's not on the list. Check the list. Not in the top ten, anyway. Rob's brother, Big Al Kahuna. No. God. This is really tough. That's a tough list. You guys aren't going to get this. There's only one that you have a chance in getting. Rob Ayala. Oh, he should be. Bobby Intharasca. How many times? Bobby Strickland. Harry Conlon. He's not under 45. You're just naming people we work with in San Jose. Even his new hip is in 45. Please, with the inside jokes. Come on. Rod Marinovich. Hi, Chaz. What's going on? Tiger Woods and Ramsey. Tiger Woods and Ramsey. Either one? Sky? And not in the top ten. This list sucks. P1 Michelle?
What about Shiloh LeBas? He's been in like a thousand movies so far this year. Bet he's on there? Yes. Number one, and he shares that spot with Zac Efron and the Disney kids. Whatever. Most influential men under 45. Who's the influence? Like what? They influence because people think they're real, the biggest, hottest thing right now. And so kids do what they're doing. Exactly. How they have their hair. Yep. P1 Amy. Yes. My guess is Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. That's good. Not in the top ten. Meathead from All in the Family. Yeah. Meathead. Jeez. Yeah. He's not on there. What about Carol O'Connor? He's like 40. Yeah. He's been dead for 40 years. The rest of these are categories. What about Crush It? Except for two people who you're never going to get. That guy has done more for lavender scarves than the pocket. Oh, in the pocket. You're right. Than anybody I've ever met.
What about moving forward the movement of chest hair? Oh, no question. Hello. Yeah, on the forefront. And tight sushi. Yes. Tight sushi, lavender, scarves in the pocket, and the advancement of chest hair. Very nice. All right, tell me who else is on there. Number 10 is Howard Wolfson, who's the political consultant for Hillary Clinton. Number 9 is... What about me, Weta? No. Hey, no. We don't have time for you today, Beto. Check the category. Major A kickers. You're not that. You've never even been in a fight. Dude, I've been in like 10. No, you never have. Yeah, I have. No, you're only 14. Dude, this one time. What happened? This dude was all up in my stuff and he's all. What's up, Beto? I heard you've been talking smack. And I was all, yeah, I have. No, you have. And he was all, oh, so you admit it, huh? And I was all, yeah. And he goes, let's go then, dude. And I poured gas on him, bro. You did not do that. You did not do that. Yeah, dude. That's cool. And he was all running around. He was all, ah! Okay, well, then can I call the police on you?
No, dude, because it got dismissed from court. Why? He went to court. Because that guy had a warrant. That doesn't make any sense. He would still be in trouble. Stop lying. He had a warrant out for his arrest, and the cop was all, seriously, bro, thank you. No, Beto, what did I tell you about lying? Yeah, dude, you said don't lie. And I was like, yeah, I won't. But if I have the truth, Uncle Eddie, can I tell it? And you were all, yeah. And I was all, okay, then I'll tell that true story about that time I met that girl. And I was all, what's up? And she was all, yeah, let's go. And so now she's pregnant. Hey, that does not make you cool, Beto. You need to knock that off. Yeah, dude. And I was all, I take care of my kid. Wait, what? How do you even know about that? Yeah, you don't have a kid. And she was all crying to me. She's all, I can't afford the diapers and the food. And I was all, yo, man.
I'm working three jobs, Essa. Beto? Dude, I have three jobs. You go to school. In fact, why aren't you in school right now? Dude, I work at Jiffy Lube. Hey, Beto, do you want us to call Nana? I'm going to tell you. No, dude, don't call Nana, bro. You know what? You're not going to be able to watch Shrek the Halls tonight if you keep doing this. Good one, Eddie. All right, I'll stop, dude. Good one, good one. Number nine, the F word. Oh, man. Boy, that is so stupid. Referring to the word that Isaiah Washington and Coulter used. Oh, that F word. Yes. That's influential? Yes. How is it influential? It says, it appears that 2007 was the year of the F word. They go on to talk about Ann Coulter using it, Isaiah Washington of Grey's Anatomy. People who write for magazines think they're really clever and smart, and they're not. Yeah. They go, oh, man, people are going to think this is so interesting and cool. No one cares. Number eight. Dang it. Is that how you pronounce that? What did you say? He's the Shiite cleric.
No, anyway, very influential in the war. I'll say. Number seven, the good fathers, Kay Fed and Larry Burkhead. Number six, the subprime suckers. All the people who got the 100% loans that are now in foreclosure, messing up the real estate market. Number five, the school shooters, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. That's an offensive list. Yeah. Oh, you're not going to like this one, even though it's okay. Number four, they call it the Bible beaters. They're talking about bands like Flyleaf and Switchfoot, the video-sharing site GodTube, making religion part of pop culture. I didn't know there was a GodTube. Yeah, I have never heard they call it a video-sharing site. It attracts more than 3 million unique visitors a month since it launched in August. Now, they're saying that the Godbeaters are... The Biblebeaters. The Biblebeaters are influential? Yes. In what way? Um...
Just getting out there in pop culture. Yes, being a part of pop culture and influencing young people. To me, that's cool. Yeah, that is cool. I just, the title, The Bible Beaters, I thought it was kind of weird. Number three, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. Oh, yeah, dude. I'm reading about that guy everywhere. Yeah. That Facebook is blowing up. Yeah, it's huge. It's getting to be, it's rising to like... You know, I hate to say MySpace status because what is, but it's getting big. It's huge. Is it basically MySpace? Yeah, but the difference between Facebook and MySpace is that in Facebook you really weed out a lot of the junk and you are friends with very particular friends. Is that right, Ashley? What I know about it is it's more for kids who are in school. Like they go to a college or a high school and that's how you find your friends. And it's more just like high school, college based. Like I don't, I wouldn't have any use for it because I dropped out of school. Dean's this. Dean's this bad. Yeah. Yeah, I'm an alumni. Thank you, Mike. Yeah, she's an alumni. Thank you.
He didn't graduate. Number two is The Surge, the 20,000 soldiers that went over to fight in Iraq. I thought you meant Surge Tarkanian. No, no. The Surge of Truth. Gotcha. That song, though, is really... It's very influential. That would make sense. You've got to get me that hook. You've got to get me just the hook of the Surge song where he goes, Antidepressants. Can you get me that hook? Of course. It makes me happy that... It has the opposite effect of what he's saying. Yeah. Anti-depressants. What is he? What is he, Eddie? Slovakian? Yes. Yes. And then number one, like we said, Zac Efron, the Disney kids, all the young teeny bopper stars. There it is. There it is. Thank you, Details Magazine. 20 worst pre-rock star jobs. This is not a guest thing, but Sky's got them. Give me the top 10. Top 10. All right. Here we go. 10, Beth Orton was a pizza parlor waitress. Who's Beth Orton? I believe she's a star in the UK. Okay, great. Number nine, she's like the only one on the list that we don't really know. Number nine, Johnny Cash was a cotton picker. Number eight, Snoop Dogg was a bag boy. He was? Yep. Does it say where? In Long Beach. Duh. Wow.
Number seven, Rod Stewart was a grave digger. Knew that. Knew that one. Number six, Martina McBride sold concert t-shirts. Number five, Tony Iommi, a sheet metal factory worker. Number four, Gwen Stefani was a floor scrubber at Dairy Queen in Fullerton. Well, nobody just scrubs floors at Dairy Queen. That's not your job. I guess it was part of her job. All right, here's my favorite part of the Surge song. Address and control. It's like listening to a Willy Wonka movie. It's like the Oompa Loompas are singing that. Right. Number three, David Lee Roth, a hospital orderly. Number two, Jonathan Davis, a funeral home embalmer. We all knew that. And number one, Chubby Checker was a chicken plucker. Usher is a dad now. He had a kid. Little baby boy, Monday night in Atlanta.
Carson Daly is the first guy to walk across the writer's picket line. First late night talk show host. You guys are against that. Britney's driver quit. He said, paparazzi is too much for me. Yeah, he doesn't want to be liable if he accidentally runs over somebody's foot or whatever. Emeril Live. Ceasing production. Wow. No mas. I hope they're going to replace it. With a new Emeril show? No. with another show. Oh, okay. Like, they're not going to show reruns where that was, are they? Probably forever. Yeah, they say that, yeah, they're not making any new episodes starting in December, but they will still air reruns. Emeril is one of the only ones on the Food Network I don't watch. And I've tried. I've tried to watch it. And I just, I don't see why he feels that he's that cool because he put garlic on something. Duh.
Yeah, so, but... Because people will applaud. Like, he'll throw garlic in something. But it's this thing, like, he's tough. Like, he'll go... Like, he'll be real normal. He'll go, so you got this skirt steak, right? What if we put some garlic on there? And people are like, oh my... Wow, I can't believe he had the balls to do that. Garlic he speaks of. Yeah. But don't worry, Mike. They still will do new episodes of The Essence of Emeril. So you still have that to look at. That one's more tolerable for me, Essence of Emeril. Because there's nobody there. No audience. No audience. It's just him. And, you know, cayenne pepper isn't really like a stunt. Yeah. You don't have to kick it up a notch. What do you think of the food, Eddie? Does he make good stuff? You know, I think it's like half and half, you know. But yeah, that annoys the hell out of me too when the audience goes crazy for the different normal ingredients. It's like, let's have a spasm attack because he kicked it up a notch. And he does the same shtick every single show. He talks about smell-o-vision, shows the knob of the oven and says, you ever see one of these before? Really? Every single show. Watch one. Oh, man. That's just not my thing. I gotta go. Let's go, you guys. Okay.
Okay, bye. 570-1053 is a phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show. A P1 is somebody that when they call in, they turn their radio down, they get to the point, and they don't cuss. And they listen for long periods of time. And you may wonder, like, well, why is that important? It's important because look at the time. We are, the Mikey show is contractually bound. to do a show from 6 to 10 every day. And we don't. We stay on until we've given you everything we got. It's 1044 right now. Holy cow! 1044. That's so awesome. We're working for you. Can I say something about that? Oh, wow. Eddie just leaned back. No, I really...
No, no, no. I don't want to do this, though. I don't want to, like, stroke us too much. No, I wasn't going to stroke. I was just going to say, when I was growing up and I was really into radio, like, if I had a morning show that I listened to that stayed on an extra hour, like, that's so huge. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That makes a big difference. It's really... We're the best. Cool. Thank you, Ashley. If we were around when I was a kid, I would take... Yeah, man. Mate. Yeah. Check it out, dude. I don't sound like that. If I was a kid now, and I was at home, and let's say... I don't sound like that. Let's say I was at home. Hey, Mikey. And I was like, hey, man, wouldn't it be like 50 times more cool if they weren't signing off the air right now? I don't talk.
And like my alarm went off and it was 10 o'clock and I was like, oh man, this dog taking a sign off. And then all of a sudden I look up and it's 10.44 and I'm like, yeah, man, they're cool. You're the worst. They should stay on until 11.45. P1 Pops is on the line. What's up? Hey, Mikey. Yes. How you doing? Good. Good. Great show as always. I just want to say, sir is not Slovakian, he's Armenian. Armenian. Yes. I like it. I love it. Thank you. No problem, man. Great Slovakian singer. That's right. Let's try that one from the top. From Transylvania? Yes. Let us record the song again, please. Take two. Let's do a take two.
This time, crank up the bass. Check. Count me down. That's a cover. Take for a while now. Gotta go. Jeez, man. P1 Josh. Go ahead, Josh. I just had a comment about Sky's song. That one line that she says about I'll die if I get sand in my eye. Right. It made me laugh so hard that I got cramped and were almost bad enough that I had to leave work. Irony. We better play it one more time. How dare you. We have to go. We gotta go. We'll play it and this is how we'll leave. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. I'm feeling good, man. Yeah. Missy's got. I'm feeling fresh. I'm feeling sexy and I'm feeling honey baked. All request lunch. See you tomorrow at 5.30. Late. And I can dance.
I'm not apologizing for my behavior because I was really sick I was throwing up here I went home I was throwing up at home and early morning and I'm on the show mispronouncing and in the flow and I wish we played music And I didn't have to be having to read and speak. I had just been conversating. It's conversing. The guys are making me want to cry. Life was better when I was with single day. I really earned my pay. It's that time of the month. I'm really sunburnt. I think I need to call mother. It's me again. Yes, again. Yes, it's me. Will you come get me? I have a sunburn. Of course I'm being serious.
You can take me to your place and we'll look for a water bottle. We'll put urine in it and it'll cure me. But call Kaiser first. Make sure that they're aware of this. Ramsey, get those blades moving. Come on, don't be so slow. Oh my goodness, I feel a headache coming on. I'm starting to hyperventilate.
