I would like a studio redesign. It'd be really cool if I could do a studio redesign and I could pick where everything was located. I don't feel I have adequate workspace. I feel the same way about my kitchen at home. Where do I put the turkey down before I transfer it onto the carving board? Well, right now I'll tell you, the sink is not adequate space to do things. You need to have space. Space is important. It is 6.05. The Border Patrol found a cross-border smuggling tunnel filled with an estimated 15,000 pounds of pot. Oh, man. It was this close. But Tom Brady pulls it out. The Patriots came within seconds of losing last night but beat the Ravens 27-24. Eddie, we were out for my wife's birthday dinner. Yeah.
So I didn't see it, but I heard it was full of controversy. Well, you know, I mean, there were so many just crazy calls and things like this that happened last night. And, you know, the Patriots had to hit two fourths and fives in that last drive. And then the last touchdown they had to review. I mean, it was a nutso ballgame. It was crazy. Here's that last touchdown. Cut 36. Five options for Brady. The pump. The throw. It is. Touchdown. Oh, my God. Right at the end of the game. Wow. I almost threw up. Did you really? I bet you did, Rob. I bet you did. Boston Rob. That guy. When I heard about it this morning, I thought, oh, that must have been a rough one for him. Oh, man. Out of control. And there was one particular play on the drive where it was fourth down, and it was an incomplete pass. I mean, everybody at the bowling alley last night at the Lights Out Bowl went crazy. They thought the Patriots lost. Yeah.
Oh, there's a flag. Kept the drive going. Oh, my gosh. What about the timeout called? It was the first fourth down. That was the second one. I heard about that, that a coach, a defensive coordinator for the Ravens, called a timeout he shouldn't have or something. Oh, man. They stopped us on the drive, and it turns out that play wasn't even good because someone called the timeout. Here is Jabbar Gaffney. explaining what went on in the huddle before the touchdown cut 48 um he did he made the call um we had the time out to play before coach had put in uh two plays and we came out we got the holding call on the first play passing the ferris and then came back the second play i just ran in and broke back out and he put made a great throw and i was able to get both feet down jabbar gaffney uh playing the piano as he was answering that question which was kind of cool it was relaxing yeah A crossy cape. Yeah, exactly. Candelabra. Answering all those questions. Welcome to the show. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the program. And I'm wearing brown today, which will thrill my wife. My wife is a big fan of brown. That's your skin. That's right. That's why she married me. She's a big fan of brown. And so, all the way around. I was an accessory. She wishes that everybody wore brown.
She just really likes it. Whenever I say to her, going somewhere or something, every once in a while, I'll ask her, hey honey, will you pick something for me? Why do I even ask anymore? It's always a brown shirt, a brown jacket, and brown shoes. She loves it. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy, 34 years of age. Sky is our news girl. She's 30 now. She's 30-something. She can now consider herself 30-something. Sean is our sound effects guy. And he is 37 years old, lives in the Bay Area, and does not commute. What he does is connect with us via satellite. So we look at him on a little camera. It's great. Ashley is our assistant producer. And she is 24 years old. And today is a different look for her than yesterday was.
The last couple of days we've seen her at work were very professional. Today's laid back, and I'm feeling the onset of a cold kind of day for Ash. Yes. Very sweatshirty, and she looks like a college freshman today. Ash! Boston Rob's 25. He had a rough night with that football game. It was a tough one for him, but he got through it. His Boston, or his New England Patriots won. And Zeth is the seventh member of the show. The youngest member of the show. And he is only 22 years old. He reminds us of Charlie Brown. Oh, come on, Charlie Brown. Lovable. Always on the losing end of the stick. You know what I mean? He's lovable. You feel for him and you love him all at the same time. Even though he's tattooed and looks like he should be in the shoe block of Pelican Bay. I know you'll like them. I love them. Don't we all? Whoa, we do. Don't we all? What is that noise? Your phone. Where is it? I don't know. I thought it was far away enough from everything to not be causing a problem. I bet it's in my pocket. It was. It's in my jacket pocket. Can you imagine that? 48 billion dollar radio stations affected by an iPhone. The whole broadcast affected by an iPhone.
Oh, I wish I could fast forward technologically 15 years into the future. I hate it. I hate all of it. I hate how stupid caveman we are still. We got technology that'll do all kinds of stuff, but we still can't do about a billion things I want to be able to do. I want to be able to do email and everything right from my TV, from an invisible source that shows up on my lap. I snap my fingers, it goes away. That I can take my fingers and resize it to however big I want it to be. Right now is caveman days. Wires. Heavy stuff. I can't stand it. 570-1053 is our phone number. Call us at the beginning and end of every show about anything you want. It's an open forum. You can call about anything. There's some real weird stuff in the news today. There was a shark.
Yesterday, they said some guy that was on a kayak saw a shark in La Jolla, and it wasn't small. No. How big was the shark, Sky? The kayaker reported the shark was approximately 20 feet long. What? And passed under his kayak around noon yesterday. Oh, my gosh. Three tons of him. No, thank you. You're going to need a bigger boat. Yeah, you are. You're going to need a bigger kayak. Yeah, so lifeguards there at the La Jolla Cove got everybody out of the water for a little while. This is not the time or the place to perform some kind of autopsy on a fish. Well, right. Common sense. That's all it takes is common sense. But the Cove is back open for swimmers, so. Enjoy. Oh, yeah. Everybody in the water. Dive in. Come on, everyone. Enjoy yourself. The water. I'm not going to stand here and see that thing cut open and see that little Ketner boy spill out all over the dot. Forget it. Thank you. Forget it. I'll pass. 20 feet. Yeah. That is big. That's not a big boat. You're going to need a bigger boat. What does that thing eat to be able to live daily? You know? Us. Yeah. No kayaks. Kayaks.
I'll tell you what, now it's going to be, you know that whole seal beach thing or whatever it's called where the kids tide pool? I wonder how that's going to affect stuff, kicking those seals out of there. I wonder if that was food for them. Now they're going to want people. Yeah, I mean, that's what they eat. Nobody thought of that, right? P1 Monica? Mikey, oh my God, I'm so nervous. I can't believe I'm talking to you. Oh my goodness, do not be nervous. You guys, I just want to think. Thank each and every one of you. You make my days awesome. I got a lot of love for the Mikey Show. My husband and I actually met you and your wife at a Velvet Revolver concert. Wow. And he gave us a shout-out the next day, and it was really cool of you. That was a long time ago. We took Erica, Rebecca's buddy, right before she moved to Tennessee to that Velvet Revolver show. I cannot believe how nervous I am. I've got butterflies in my stomach, and I've already met you once. What are you doing? Going to work?
Yeah. Each and every one of you guys, totally awesome. You just make my days, you know, really cool. I wind up laughing so hard sometimes I get tears in my eyes. Where do you work at? I work for myself. Sweet. I'm a housekeeper. That's cool. Yeah. That's cool. Where are you driving right now? I'm on the 52, almost to the 5. No, but I mean, if you work at home and you do all that, what are you doing out in the car? I work for myself and a housekeeper. So you're going to clean a home? I get what you're saying. I'm my own boss. I got you. So you're going to a home to clean? Yeah. Got you. An awesome home in La Jolla. Nice. Oh, man. Do you ever just kick back on the couch when they're not there? Grab the remote? You do not do that? I wish. I wish. Go out on the balcony. Enjoy the view. Yeah. You should have a couple of...
cool balconies. That's what I would do. Alright, Monica. Gotta hand it to Sky, boy. She really knows how to take it. That's right. Thank you. Thank you very much. Eddie just winked at her and it was kind of weird. Eddie just winked at Sky when you said that and that made me uncomfortable. Alright, Monica. Have a good one, everybody. Have a good one. Thank you. Thank you for the call. It's been way too long. Thank you. Just all relax. Let's relax. Let's get into the spirit of the holidays. I'd do anything to see the video. Wouldn't you? Gorgeous. Eddie, set the scene. Well, obviously, snow coming down. Right. Picture him in front of a fireplace. You know, but there's big windows. Bay windows. Right. Yeah. Where you see the snow outside. He kind of stands up and kind of moves throughout the room. You know, the camera follows him. Yeah. I love it. We're relieved. I say that there is a cardboard cutout of Rudolph that hides the karaoke machine so that you don't see it. There's no reason for you to have to see it. This may be a dumb question, but do
We visualize him, like, acting out the words. Like when he says, fall to my knees. Oh, wow. I like it a lot. For sure. I like it a lot. And petting, like, a family dog, a big dog. Yeah. And the dog trying to get away because it's too loud for him. Yeah. But he's trying to hold the dog there. But he wants to hold it and, like, pet it. Yeah. Finally, the dog just gets away. Yeah. Transition. You really notice it happens. Yeah. Takes a trained ear. He's a natural. For the key change. The key change. Guy's real name, I found somebody emailed me and said his real name's like Elmer Hammerdinger or something like that. Seriously, it's like a real weird, funny name like that. P1 Ramona Rob is on the line. What's up, man? Yeah, I got a joke for you guys. Okay. When is Skye's bedtime? I don't know. When is Skye's bedtime?
When the big ham touches the little ham. Rob put that one right through. Oh, of course. Of course. He loves that, man. He loves the sky humor. Can't get enough of it. P1 Butters is on the line, obviously. Butters, how are you? Good. How are you guys doing? Good, man. What's going on? I was calling to ask Eddie how Bowen was last night. Yeah, the light's on, Bowen. It was pretty cool, man. It was probably twice the size of it was last year. I mean, it was crazy. There were so many people there. Half the team was there. Everybody was really cool. Everybody was in great mood. Thank God they won this past weekend. Because, I mean, like, Stephen Cooper was acting like a goofball. And Mike Goff, I was interviewing Marcus McNeil. And all of a sudden, a giant 300-pound man decides to sit on my lap. No. It was Mike Goff. Oh, I hope someone got a picture of that. I think so. Did it hurt? No, it was all right.
Kind of liked it, to be honest with you. But, I mean, everybody was just in great moves. Kasim Osgood, first of all, I thought I upset him. Why? Well, I was doing an announcement in front of everybody and, like, kind of welcoming people. Right. And I was talking with Sean Merriman up, you know, in front, and Kasim was kind of... God bless you, brothers. Thank you. You're welcome. Kasim was kind of heckling. which you know was he was heckling sean you know it wasn't heckling me right and then so i wrapped things up and the very last thing i say is oh and by the way kasim osgood wants everybody to know that he's here and kasim like yelled something kind of you know off color back to me right and i went uh-oh like he didn't take that in good humor right i'm screwed with kasim osgood now great way to go nice job eddie so then like the old me I probably would have been like, F you, dude, whatever. I don't care. But I was like, no, I got to see what's going on with this. So I waited for a little while, and then I went up to him. I go, what's up, Kasim? No love? And he goes, oh, no, dude. I'm just messing around. And he came up, gave me a big hug. And so I was like, oh, that's cool. And then he goes, we did a live auction there. And he goes, hey, man, I'm a good auctioneer. And I went, OK, really? I go, well, do you want to help me? He goes, yeah. So Kasim, no joke.
had legitimate auctioneer skills. The auctioneer was full on going $25,000. It was crazy. It was awesome. I didn't have to do anything. That was a pretty fun event. It sounds fun, man. Talk about killer autographs. They were signing everything. If you brought out a jersey or a helmet or whatever, they signed it. Cromartie was there. That sounds fun. Hi, dude. Thanks, Butters. Yeah, you guys have a good day. You too, man. My wife took Jake to Santa Claus yesterday. Aww. Did not go well. Yeah. Never does. Well, first of all, she said that it wasn't really Santa Claus. What? It was Saint Nick. What's the difference? Well, the difference is, Saint Nick is what Santa Claus is all year round, except at Christmas time, he puts on the Santa Claus outfit. But St. Nick is like his regular job. Oh, so he had like the suspenders. Exactly. See, Santa Claus is what old St. Nick does on the 25th of December. Gotcha. Okay. But the rest of the 364 days of the year, he's old St. Nick. Yeah. Which is kind of like the, you know, picture like the Ricola, like that guy, what he looks like. That's kind of what St. Nick looks like. And when they first walked up, Jake didn't have any issues.
He's like checking him out and saying to himself, that's a strange looking person. And as you guys know, Jake doesn't mess around. He doesn't really have much of a sense of humor. It takes a lot to get him to laugh. For instance, right now, he's really into the word Zoom. That's pretty funny. But outside of, and Nanu is funny. Those two words, Zoom and Nanu. You put them together, forget it. It's like you're the funniest person in the world. It's like Robin Williams walked in. Yes, exactly. Exactly. But other than that, you'll do stuff to have fun and have a good time. And he'll stare at you blank face like, you know, nice try. Right. So he sees old St. Nick and there's no issues until Rebecca handed Jake to old St. Nick. And then water works. See, I almost think that's funnier. That picture? That is funny, man. Screaming and crying. There's no doubt about it. Because he busts that out when he's like 10 or whatever. That's funny. Look at this, buddy. I mean, that's funny. Dude, I remember Christmas 19... It was like Christmas 1989. I laughed so hard. I had tears coming out of my... Like, that takes a lot to get you laughed to where tears are coming out of your eyes. But my brother Sam...
came over to my brother mark's house dressed as santa claus and he was smoking a cigar like legitimately smoking which was already it was one of the funniest things i've ever seen and jennifer my niece was only like five and she was terrified and you know so we took a picture and he's holding her and she's crying and it's This next part is going to seem crazy to you, but I'm telling you at the time it just all worked. He holds her upside down by her ankle with a cigar in his mouth. I'm telling you, it was so funny that I couldn't catch my breath. It was so funny. Something about Santa and crying kids is just... It is. It's funny. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show and do whatever you want. Say whatever you want. Don Imus went back on the radio yesterday. Cut 16. Dick Cheney is still a war criminal. Hillary Clinton is still Satan. And I'm back on the radio. So is his studio like the inside of the Apollo Theater? What's the deal? Did you see it? Why did it sound like that? It sounded like a theater. He was up on a stage. It was...
It was almost like the set of a play, you know? Right. And they had like wood paneling all over the place and giant signs that said, you know, whatever the flagship station is and then Imus underneath it. And it was like a whole big production. It was gigantic. Yeah, his first day back on the air, you could pay $100 to be in the audience and all that money went to his ranch for children with cancer. Really? Yeah. Oh. So it was just for a day maybe then? Yeah, I believe so. Hmm. Hey, Eddie, guess what's back tonight? What's that? This is going to be good. Cut 44. Look at the beat. That's right. Rudolph is back tonight. What is that rate in your Christmas stuff, Eddie? It's probably number two. Oh, wow. Yeah, Santa Claus is going to town. Of course, number one. We got it. Rudolph, number two. Which I'm very upset because my Yukon Jack. What? My Yukon Jack. You don't know who Yukon Jack is? No. Come on, Sky. Who is it, Mike? It's the guy from the Rankin stuff. Oh, you see? You don't either. You're exactly right. My Yukon Jack ornament broke when I was putting it up the tree. Oh, no. So I need to find another one. Whoa. Sorry to hear that. And then probably Grinch third Charlie Brown Christmas four. That's some good stuff, man.
Hope I didn't forget anything. Me too. Frosty 5. Oh, okay. I watched this past weekend. Oh, good. Sean had a root canal yesterday. Dude. Oh, boy, Sean. Ew. Yuck. It's not fun. What exactly is it, Sean? What happens in a root canal? It's painful. It's going to sound really horrific. Yeah. It's where they take, okay, so you know how you have the crown of your tooth on the top and then the roots that go down and in the very center there is this chamber where the nerve sits. And it's, you know, if you've ever seen like a, you know how they cut a tooth in half and you kind of see how it's structured out. In the very center, there's that soft sort of pulpy area. What they do is they bust off the top. They go down into the root, into that area. They suck everything out.
They put the top back on, and then they cap it. It's basically a dead tooth. Now, it's 2007, so I would think that they've come a long way in how they do this. Because I know that a root canal used to be the example of pain. Like, whenever you were talking about pain, you would say, oh, it's like a root canal. Is it pain-free now? No. They've got the lasers and stuff now? That's not pain-free? No, no way. No lasers? No laser. There's not a way to deaden it and make it pain-free? Well, yeah. I mean, you don't feel it, but the aftermath of it, because it's so traumatic to, you know, your junk. Basically, they're going in there, and they're just, like, scraping out the inside of your tooth. All the stuff that makes it lie. But you don't feel that when that's going on, right? Not when it's going down, no. But when the nerve comes back is when you... Yeah, dude, when it wears off. Oh, my. Yeah, and some dentists are cool, and they'll give you, like, painkiller prescriptions, but some dentists will be like, oh, just go home, take some Tylenol. Oh, come on. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Aye, aye, aye. Yeah, dude, it's awful. They got to figure out a way. Yeah, lasers. Yeah, get lasers. Why can't you take a laser in there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stick a laser in there. I would do that in a heartbeat. Just tell them that. Just say the next time you go, stick a laser in there. Laser me.
Yeah, but the smell, because they're, like, drilling through your tooth, you know, and the noise and the whole thing. Junk. Wow. I'll pass. Oil starts spurting out. Sorry, Sean. That's the worst. And the geyser. Now, did it just sneak up on you? Yeah, because I have, you know, I have existing issues, and it's, like, affecting my teeth, and it's ridiculous. How do you get a root canal? I mean, or whatever the problem. I don't know what the problem is. How do you get to that point? Yeah, yeah. Well, you have to have a certain amount of tooth decay for it to get near the root of the tooth. Once that happens, then they have no choice because it's either that or they let it eat away and get to the nerve. Then you have a horrific toothache, and eventually the tooth will die and fall out. So if you don't clean everything out and basically...
Put it back to normal. Rob's pointing to one of his teeth. What, Rob? I was playing basketball and a dude elbowed me in the mouth in the far left front tooth. So it hurt for a couple days. Didn't know what it was. Then the pain got to the point. To be honest, was it his knee and not his? You were playing with him normally and his knee hit you? No. It was an elbow. Pain got to the point where I couldn't sleep at night. So the next morning I had to go in like emergency root canal it turned out to be. when, like, they drilled the back because the root had died, it literally, like, the tooth had bubbled up on the backside, and it, like, burst out with pus. Because, like, everything up there had died. And now you can see this tooth is kind of, like, brown and dead because they never filled in the back. Yeah. Appetizing. It's just, like, the back is, like, hollowed out. Good morning, everyone. 6.32. He's so hot. KIOZ radio. No, I waved a dental. You waved a dental. Yeah, look at the sun just starting to come over the Alpine mountains. Who waves dental? When it's offered to you, why would you wave dental? Because it costs more. It's like $5 a month. No more sweets for you, Shawnee. No. No more candy. No more candy, no more soda. You should drink water. You gotta cut soda out for real? Yeah, seriously, I can't drink any...
Any soda that has phosphoric or citric acid in it. Or fluoride. Water. And that's all Sean drinks is soda. What are you going to do? Juice and water. Oh, dude. You hate water. He hates water. I hate it. It tastes horrific. Well, it's better for you. It's gross. It tastes horrific. It's delicious. P1 Brandon. Yes, good morning. Hi. Ashley's Sweaty Pits. Go ahead. Well, my friend Monica or... P1 Monica, she and her father have a product called Fresh Guard. It's sort of like a tampon for your t-shirt. For your t-shirt? Yeah, basically, you stick it to the sleeve slash torso of the shirt, you know, the armpit section. Right. Ash, have you ever heard of this? Come again? I was asking Ashley if she'd ever heard of this product. I don't know if it's the same person, but I did get an email from a female P1 who was saying that...
she sold that and would be happy to give me some. Like a maxi pad for the shirt. Yeah, I think tampon's the wrong word, sir. Well, Skye, you can't expect a man to really know the inner workings of the female world. Well, yeah, you know, I mean, but I'm a guy that has a wife and four sisters, so. Well, you don't have any sisters. You know what I'm saying? You know, female sensitive. It's okay, dude. I mean, Skye's the one that decides you. I just thought it was common knowledge. Skye's the one that thinks that you are the dumbest person she's ever spoke to. I did not call you a name. Skye is the one that thinks that you're a moron and an idiot. Well, I mean, Skye, what's happening? I just didn't... That's idiotic. What? All right, well, thank you. What? Oh, shit. No, seriously. All right. No, seriously, Mike. I know. I didn't know that that was going to go anywhere better. So, you know, we got the gist out there. Let's move on. Okay. Thank you. Also, just wanted to let people know, Rob got a bunch of art appraised yesterday. So, we'll see you later, everybody. Have a great morning.
Normal. I don't know this Rob you speak of. Boston, Rob. You know, the wine taster. Wait. Wait. You mean the guy sitting behind... Yeah, the guy with Boston tattooed on his neck. And no dental insurance? And no dental insurance? I have couth. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. The guy that has intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the California justice system. Sorry, what? Right. Nothing wrong with getting art appraised. That's right. Nothing wrong with it at all. I'll give you details in a little bit. Okay. That's right. Got some... Now, today on the show, we're going to be doing something called Wuss Rock Jukebox. Should be good. That's where guys call in and sing Wuss Rock songs for prizes. We're also going to be doing I Don't Like It When. Now, this is an exercise where two people on the Mikey Show share with one another what they don't like that the other person does. It's cleansing.
It allows healing and growth. And today we'll be doing that process with Ashley and Zeth. Oh, that's... No. That's... It's a mismatch. I don't know that's a good idea. I mean, on a normal day, that's not good. But they're both not feeling well. This could be really bad. Well... Let's just hope he doesn't cry. It's like a heavyweight going against a bantamweight. That is true, Eddie. I mean, it's not right. That is true. So I can't wait to give it a shot. Me neither. Zeth. Yeah. You can't hold back, bro. You can't, you know, this is, that's what the experience is about. The experience is a safe place. Yeah. It's a safe place. That's why you do. I don't like it when, because you're, you're free of the chains that bind you. I'm here for the healing, Mike. That's right. It's the right attitude, bro. That's the way you're supposed to go into it. Dead man walking. No, come on. Don't say that. Don't say that. I'm just saying.
So all of that and more, your phone calls, 570-1053. And Larry the Cable Guy is in the Stand-Up Spotlight. The Mikey Show Stand-Up Spotlight, 1053. My grandma does do what it irritates me. She gets to walk and farts, you know. Every step she takes, something comes out, you know. But it's horrible. But the worst part is she gets to walk and farts at the flea market. And that's bad, because when she's at the flea market, she wears them spandex drawers. So now it can't escape nowhere, you know what I mean? And she let out a walk and fart, and them spandex drawers look like a mouse run down the inside of her pant leg right there like that. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock.

We've got some red spots on our freeways this morning. A traffic alert in effect from the Jackson in the South Bay and Imperial Beach. It's northbound 5 past Coronado Avenue. As blocking the fast lane in Madden, you are back to big time in single digits on the approach here. From the 905 all the way up, you're being advised to avoid that stretch. Getting past that, you're going to find the usual community traffic weather on that South Bay freeway in the National City. Northbound 805, that's not too bad as an alternate right now out of the South Bay. You do have some slow traffic, though, heading up towards National City. Heavier's still, though, getting into North Park. Another bad accident near El Cajon Boulevard backing up your ride there. Now you've got some slow traffic out of Kearney Mesa over the 52. West 94 and King Freeway, just a minor delay in the downtown. The westbound 8, they're pretty much good to go. South 15 coming out of Escondido. That's tough off the 78th of your rancho parkway. And some reduced speeds again through Rancho Bernardo. And the coaster ride, Saffron 5, quite tough now out of Encinitas down towards the racetrack at Del Mar. There's an accident blocking lanes just before that Via de la Faye exit. Now it's back up there. I'm Rick Lawrence, and Rock, going to Fire 3. Just because I like to be sensitive of other people's feelings. But it doesn't do any good. Sean. I'm very early when it comes to dipping. Boston Rob. Everybody enjoys a good thumbs up once in a while. That's right. And Ashley. I can't. I'm really bad at describing things. On Rock 105.3. To the show. Hard to not like Daryl Hall and John Oates. We're kind.
It's 6.43. Angelina Jolie's brother has been seen driving around Beverly Hills with license plates that say Shiloh. I was going to tell you about Sean Taylor being laid to rest yesterday, but it doesn't really fit with this music. It really doesn't. I'm not sure that's the appropriate mood. I'm sure I can get something on here that would fit it a little bit better. Yeah, that makes a little bit more sense. Big funeral for Sean Taylor yesterday. Thousands of mourners showed up, including 53 of his teammates. And guess what? They get to play football on Thursday. Can you imagine, man? Can you imagine what they're going through emotionally? No way, man. I was even thinking, you know, would the NFL give them a reprieve and change that game to a Sunday night game? Or a Sunday game and flip-flop games? You would think so, except for the fact that how much money is involved. Exactly. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's too bad, though. That's rough. It is, man. Welcome back to the show. I've got to read you this email.
Got an interesting email here. Dear Mikey, my girlfriend just broke up with me. Is that still my phone buzzing like that? Because it's all the way over there. It's weird. Like, what is making that buzz now? Do you know, Zeth? It must have been, because he just moved it away. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Move it over there. Dear Mikey, my girlfriend just broke up with me. Our six-month anniversary was going to be this Saturday. Her reasoning is that she doesn't see herself getting married in the future. But she knows that I would like to get married one day and feels it's unfair. to stay with me when I could be with someone else that would be a better match for me. I'm 26, she's 28. She was married previously and it ended up being bad, abusive relationship that she's been divorced from for a year and a half. I was not pursuing her to get married or even talking about it. Truth be told, I wouldn't want to rush into marriage either and she knew this. Our relationship was going really well. We hung out every day and hardly ever had any disagreements.
I was really in love and pictured this relationship lasting. Her ex-husband was the first guy she really dated and I'm pretty much the second guy she's dated. I'm having a hard time figuring it out because I didn't do anything wrong. But I think that she was getting really scared because our anniversary was coming up and felt like our relationship was moving too fast. My question is, what should I do now? Should I cut my losses and move on? Should I try to pursue her and fix things now? Should I give her some space and see what happens down the road? Did she do me a favor? And I'm just feeling this way because she dumped me. Sincerely, P1 Lost. Very interesting email. See, I am, at 37 years of age, I'm of the opinion that you should not have to talk someone into a relationship. No way. You just shouldn't. It's either, you know, they, when it's right, it's right. You know, it was not very long after Eddie met his, at the time, girlfriend that he just knew. He just knew. It wasn't a thing where you had to talk yourself into it. And she knew, too. Yeah. So there was no, like, me convincing her either. And you shouldn't have to. No. You shouldn't have to. I was brown, so I fit the bill for my wife. Lucky. Lucky.
You know what I mean? She loves the color brown. You were done just right. Exactly. Awesome! I had been tanned just enough. Oh. How about you, Skye? Yeah, I mean, I agree. You shouldn't have to force anybody, and, you know, I wonder if there's more girls... Just pressure. No, you shouldn't have... Strong arm tactics. That's right. No, I mean, I agree with that. No forcing. No. Just extreme. Okay. You might want to try a touch of blackmail. That helps. That works, too. It's past 6.30 and it's not even Monday. Made her check out. Go ahead. I'm sorry. I want to hear your point. Well, I'm just saying that I think there may be something more going on with this chick. You think? Because it's not like he proposed and she's then going... First of all... anybody that breaks up for your benefit that's bs you're doing it for a reason and the reason is whether or not you want to be with this person you know that's the deal you just didn't want to be honest about it that's number one right and uh you know the other thing is you know she has been with only two guys it seems like
duh there's your answer she probably wants to you know live a little and meet a bunch of different guys so if he's asking what he should do absolutely be like okay see ya she comes back to you and that's you know yeah that's what she wants but right now you are not what she wants yeah if you love a thing let it go and then if it comes to the point where it's back or you know then it Then it was meant for you to let it go in the first place. It was meant to fly. To me, it also sounds like, and I will acknowledge before I say this, I'm reading into this a lot. This is not said in there. I'm just reading into it. But I don't know. For some reason, my gut tells me maybe she's not over the first guy. I don't know why. I don't know. I don't know. First love, all that stuff. It's only been a year and a half. He was abusive. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I forgot about that. That may play a part. Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. They got a divorce. They got a divorce. He was abusive. Okay, that does change everything. I forgot she said that. I changed my mind. I have the prerogative to forget things in two minutes. That's an ADD man's prerogative. Absolutely. It's an ADD man's prerogative to forget things within two minutes of reading. You're right. This is America. Yeah.
Let's be fair. Are you going to say, Eddie? Well, I think that, you know, I've seen this many times where girls, you know, they'll go from one relationship to another and then realize, I don't want to be in a relationship right now. I want to be a little bit more free with my time. And it sounds like she went from one thing to another. And, you know, you just got to let her do her thing. A poor guy is not. Oh, here's another point that I will make now that you've made the point about the abusive. My guess, she's looking for an abusive guy. Subconsciously. Subconsciously. You know, listen, usually women that are with abusive men came from abusive pasts. Like their dad was abusive to their mom. And usually when they meet a nice guy, they're not down with it. It just doesn't feel right. It doesn't feel right. You know, now, Ashley does not come from an abusive past, but we always give her a hard time about how she likes guys that are not good for her. Give her a hard time about it. And so when she meets, like, the super sweet, like, real non-challenging guy, she's generally kind of turned off and thinks they're boring. Right. She thinks they're kind of a boring guy. Correct. So, yeah. I'm working on that. That could be a case with this lady that just dumped you, dude. I feel bad for you because you're still in love with her. Yeah. 5701053 if you have an opinion on it. But, yeah, those deals, man. I'm with you, Eddie, when you say.
Anytime somebody's like, I want to do something for you here. I'm not the right person for you. And you deserve something better. Yes, I just can't. Really? Isn't that my decision? Who's best for me? Really? I mean, does it have anything to do with that hot guy that you run into at Starbucks every morning? That you bump into and have a conversation with? That dude at work where you're like, man, that'd be fun to hang out with him. But you're doing it. For me. For me. False. You are a saint. Yes. You're not doing it because there's this new guy that keeps flirting with you all the time. And you're tied down by me. And you can't pursue it. I'm your albatross. Right. Exactly. You can't pursue it because of me. But thank you for doing me that favor. A wise one. Exactly. We've probably been both people. All of us probably been both people at one time or another. I know I have. For sure. I will admit that. The dumpy, the dumper, whatever. We've all been through it. I've absolutely told girls that, oh, you know what? I'm not good for you right now. Right? I have too, and sometimes it's true. Well, yeah. No question about it. No question about it. It's true. But, you know, I know this about you, dude. I know you've been, I know in specific instances where you've been honest and said, look, I'm playing the field right now. I'm doing my thing.
Well, you know, that's different from being in a relationship and then saying, you know, like, oh, you know, I'm not really good for you. And I'm not the marrying kind. You know, that's BS. You know, before a relationship begins, I absolutely had been honest and been like, you know, listen. Listen, ladies. There's too much of me to go around. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Come on. Yeah, I'll put it on the board. P1 Suburban Cowboy is on the line. So good. Hi, Suburban Cowboy. Hey, what's happening? Not too much. Just some advice for this guy. You know, I know what he's going through. I just broke up with a girlfriend after about a year and a half of kind of doing the on and off thing. Just let it go, man. You know, don't get sucked into it. It never turns out good when you go back to it. I think he's right. Yeah. If you have someone, thank you for the call. I think that this could be a blanket statement. Uh-oh. If you have somebody that's doing the old, I'm doing this for you. If you have that situation, that's a tough one to come back from. That's a tough one to come back from. Because it's clear you're not meant for each other. You know what I mean? Because it could be good for maybe another three months, six months, but you're just going to be back in the same spot down the road in a little bit. Here's what you want.
everybody in a relationship you want somebody that would do anything to avoid not being with you yep that's what you want they said no i'll do any let's work this out i want to be with you no matter what p1 marcos good morning people what's up dude hey is there any any children involved in the relationship from the old uh relationships or new It's been so long since I read the email, at least five minutes now, that I really don't recall if there was any children involved. I didn't hear any. I didn't hear any. Because I would think that would play a big part on what this guy should do. But if not, man, you know, obviously she wants to, you know, to go experience life and, you know, bro, run, dude. You don't want to deal with that. I agree. Thank you. P1 Ron has an interesting point nobody's kind of touched on. Go ahead, Ron. Yeah. I was just thinking that a lot of times, females that do things like this to try to get action out of the guy or try to, I guess, set him up. I understand. I think, if I understand you correctly, sometimes girls are looking for a little validation. Right. And they want the guy to say, no, no, no, I don't want this. Yeah, we want you to fight for us. Yeah, exactly. Now, I will say this about that girl. I believe that girl is a game player. You know? True indeed.
Personally, I wouldn't want that girl because that girl's a game player. She's bad news, yeah. She's bad news. I kind of feel that all relationships, there's a degree of games, mostly in the beginning of a relationship. You want the one on the lower scale of the games rather than somebody who's doing that, basically breaking up with you to see if you like them. That's too much. That's right. Whacked out. P1 Paparazzi is on the line. Oh, Eddie was giving me the... Okay, hang on. I gotta explain this. Oh, no. Eddie was giving me the break signal when I said the word paparazzi, and then his hands fell to the ground as if they were made of leg. And then he lifted them back up and instantly started to give me the... Break quickly. Break quickly. Break now. Break now. Break now. Break now. Oh, no. P1 Paparazzi likes to take pictures of us. Go ahead, Brad. I have a theory. Go ahead. I'm thinking that maybe she was going along and met another guy, and she kind of got a little interested and got involved with him, and things kind of got serious, and she decided, you know, I have to choose one or the other, so that was her easy way of letting this other guy go. So you think that she's interested in someone else? I think she's interested in someone else or potentially even has a relationship with somebody else. Well, the being interested in somebody else, we touched on that. Yeah, we said that. And the being in a relationship with somebody else, that's a little...
Extreme. That doesn't make a lot of sense. That's all right, though. Eddie, what do you think about his point? Stupid. Brad, let me remind you, try not to analyze Eddie when he says that you're stupid. I wouldn't read anything into it. Don't read into it, because if you do and you say, well, Eddie called me stupid, I wonder what he means by that, you'll just drive yourself nuts. It'd be like a dog chasing its tail. You'll never catch the tail. That's all I'm saying. Sometimes when you read into things, it just drives you crazy. Take it at face value. Scott Weiland was arrested. And Clear Channel San Diego does their holiday party on January 7th. Ha, ha, ha. Are you serious? We got that email yesterday. January 7th. January 12th. January 12th. But still. But that's even worse. That's the new year. That's after the holidays. Two weeks in. No, I didn't read it because Rob doesn't get me my emails. But hey, why were they doing it that way? They said because... What, Sean? What, Sean? What?
Well, I thought you guys had a discussion about it. Oh, well, we did. Anyway, Eddie, what were you saying? Go ahead. What were you saying? He said in the email, it said something like, we know everybody's real busy this time of the year and the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. We decided to do it after the holidays this year. Well, it makes sense. I mean, this is the first year that anybody's ever been busy with the hustle and bustle. Yeah, well, you know. Which, to me, translates to somebody dropped the ball and couldn't book a room. Oh, I love it. I love it. I do. It's so annoying. Yeah. Now, there you go. Sounds like a blast. I'm sure it'll be a great turnout. Well, who's going to go to that? I don't know. Do you guys go to that Christmas party? I never go. I was actually planning on going this year. Yeah, I've gone the past couple years, and as soon as I saw January 12th, delete. What are they like?
It's cool. It's, you know, music, co-workers, lots of drinkies, some nice hors d'oeuvres. Do you go, Ashley? Yeah. Eddie, you don't usually go? I haven't gone the past two, but I went to the first two we were here. Rob, what about you? Do you go? I went to the last one. Would you go this year? Free stuff. Yeah, that's the big thing. If I had nothing going on, absolutely. Show off my lady. Zeth, what about you? You could go to the Clear Channel thing. You wouldn't go? Nah. Not for the free stuff? Nah. Not to meet single young ladies? Nah. Yeah, they'll work in the building. He's going to come with me this year. Yeah, dude, of all the people that should go. He's going to come with me this year. Dude, it's like fish in a barrel. Zeth, of all the parties. He's going to go. He just thinks it's not cool to say, yeah. Is that the deal? Zeth, be honest. Is that the deal? No, it's just, it's not really my thing. Have you seen the girls upstairs? Yeah. They're all like supermodels that work up there. They all get drunk and it's Christmas time, bro. Well, Zeth. It's not Christmas time. It's January, dude. Well, let me learn about you a little bit because I don't know this about you. So why is it not your thing? Tell me what it is that is not really for you. I don't know a whole lot of people in the building. I don't know who I know is going to be there. I don't know. It might be kind of weird. But you know Ash will go. Well, I don't know if she'll go for sure. I'll know Ashley. You'll go, right, Ash?
I just said I was going to go. Okay, well, I know that now. You want to come with me? Sure. Told you. Now, will Ashley get in his way of meeting girls? But he doesn't know how to do that, though. I help him. You do? Yeah, absolutely. Really? Absolutely. How do you do it? Yeah, I need to hear this. Well, he... Because why, Rob? Yeah, why, Rob? Because I'm curious. Because I couldn't see... My anonymous friends. I couldn't see her, like, helping... Well, how does a girl help? Yeah, how does a girl, like, go out and help you? Without getting in the way? Like, usually a girl isn't going to be interested in a guy that's with a girl, even if they're friends. Usually. I don't know. Maybe I don't have this figured out right now. Yeah, no, I see what you're saying. And I don't necessarily help him when we're there. And if anything, I'll give him maybe a little bit of space. But, like, I will... But he doesn't want that. Then he's... Then he's nervous. As soon as you leave to give him the space, he's by himself. I mean, I don't ditch him, but I'm not acting like I'm his girlfriend. It's very apparent that we're friends and nothing more. You're in the vicinity, but you give him a little...
Yes. Little elbow. So that, you know, clearly, if a girl wants to approach him, it's perfectly okay. He is so uncomfortable, though. You can tell. Well, that's what I pep talk about. And he's admitted, he does not have game. That's exactly, and that's why... You don't eat game at the Christmas party. That's how I help him. You know, I'll give him pep talks and try to teach him how to freaking... That's what I want to hear. I mean, too. Like, who? I want to have the pep talk. I want to know what the pep talk is. Do you mean you yell at him about it, or...? Oh. Hey, stupid, get over there and tell her that she's hot. Get in there, is there. You moron. Hey, dum-dum. Hey, speak up. She can't hear you. What are you, gay? Yeah, don't say that you're not gay and that's a nice dress. No. Stop. Sounds gay. So, okay, but I interrupted. So, usually you would say, no, not my thing because I don't necessarily know enough people. Is that it? Pretty much, yeah. No. No, I get it. I get it. But Eddie's right and we're all right about it.
If you want to meet young ladies, that's a place to do it. You're the new guy, too. Yeah. Chicks love the new guy. We'll get him out there. We'll get something going. Yeah, they'll take one look at you and they'll say, you know, he looks dangerous. I like it. Sweet. And then they'll realize that you're sweet and lovable. I don't need to not speak. Just like Santa, that's a plus. Yeah. Girls like that. Here's how you do it. This is what I do to attract the girls. First of all, show up drunk. When you get there, you got to already be loaded. You got to smell like whiskey. Try knocking over a table. Yeah. And be loud. And try blaming it on somebody else who clearly didn't do it. Smoke a lot of cigarettes and spit. Yeah. Leave a lot to go smoke. And spit. Yeah. Show me a brown tooth. Call it my dead friend. And he was making me laugh so hard off the air. Eddie is so annoyed with Boston Rob's jersey. He's so annoyed with Boston Rob's jersey. And I think, Eddie, you made a great call about the jersey. Well, Rob is wearing a Junior Seau New England Patriots jersey today. Just by the laugh. Just by the laugh, Eddie's right. It's not because he's a fan of the Patriots. It's not because he's a fan of Junior Seau. Not at all. It's just...
Hey, look, Charger fans. Ha ha ha ha ha. So true. Ha ha ha ha ha. That makes me so mad. So obnoxious. Hit him, Eddie. That jersey is screaming like it's just shouting, you know what I mean? Yeah, because you should wear a jersey to support something, not to try and anger other people. Sure. I respect what he did. He retired and came out of retirement to play for the Patriots. Shut up. You got to respect that. It's garbage. And where's your Chad Brown jersey? Yeah. Who's that? You're expecting me to know my own team. You know I don't know my own team. I don't know what the plague is. Come on, Eddie. Oh, don't be so upset, buddy. Oh, really? Oh, my God. Wow. Balls on him, huh, Eddie? I'm telling you. We'll see you Thursday. Wear it Thursday. What do you want me to wear Thursday? This? I'll rock this jersey. Please do. All right. Wear it. You got it. Hey, Andy Pettit's not retiring, Rob. He's returning to the Yankees. Yeah, who cares? That's right.
Your beloved Boston Red Sox. You're going to have to face him more. Not worried. Former Padres manager Dick Williams was voted into the Hall of Fame. Yeah, by the Veterans Committee. I'm too new of a baseball fan to know who it is. He was the guy that brought him to the World Series back in 84. Oh, look at that. I told you before we went to break that Scott Weiland was arrested. It actually happened a couple of weeks ago, and it was a DUI. Yeah. That's crazy. But the thing is, they're not specifically saying whether it was alcohol or drugs or both. I'm drunk. But it happened on November 21st outside of L.A., and he did fail a field sobriety test, but when he was taken into custody, refused to take a blood or urine test. So he's out on $40,000 bail. He has a court date, December 13th, and Velvet Revolver has canceled their Australian tour that was supposed to start today without giving any reason. Yeah. Scott Weiland, you know, he clearly, he struggles. Oh, yeah. Coming up next, Ashley and Zeth will do I Don't Like It When. This should help a lot. Good knowing you, Zeth. With our relationship. I got a whole list. So we'll do that when we come back. Don't go anywhere. Man, six days a week. You guys are awesome. Appreciate it, bro. Thank you. I'm a P1 because of my girlfriend, Lynn, who turned me on the station. Now we got you guys on every morning and stuff like that.

Kaiser Permanente. Live well, be well, and thrive. Cricket Wireless at MyCricket.com slash San Diego. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. I'll get some rough response on our freeways here this morning. Coming up on the South Bay, you've got some heavy traffic now approaching the South Bay Freeway up towards National City. More brake lights heading to downtown S-Curve. Northbound 805 got hit early on with an accident in North Park. That got caught up with the commute out of the South Bay, and now you're backed up from 8th Street all the way to El Cone Boulevard where this accident sits. Getting past that heavy again from Mesa College Drive all the way to Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. West 94 heavier now from College Grove Way to the 805. Your 8th commute westbound out of the East County. A little bit tight here from Elkhorn Boulevard up towards Severn Drive. Heavier still, though, from La Mesa Boulevard in towards Lake Murray. But once you get past that, you're good to go into Mission Valley. Southbound 15, getting pretty rough out of Escondido off the 78th of your Rancho Parkway. Some reduced speeds again through Carmel Mountain Ranch. And the coaster ride is a struggle on Southbound 5 from Poinsettia Lane in Carlsbad all the way down to an earlier accident. Hill clearing is past the racetrack in Viet de la Valle in Del Mar.
I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Is this Chaz? What's going on? Not much. Just calling in and talking about thank you for the AIS tips. I had multiple DUI, 4SR-22, all that stuff. I lost my license for like two years. And when I got it back, I couldn't find an insurance company that would even take me. They found me one and had me like $240, $230 or so from what the other insurance companies were quoting me if they would actually take me on. Well, good for you. Yeah, it's great. I went down to the Escondido office, got everything all squared away. Were they cool to you? Oh, dude, they're awesome, dude. I mean, you're always talking about how they've got P1s working there. It's cool, man. We sat there, and after we got everything signed up, we talked about the Mikey show for like 10 minutes. That's awesome. Thank you, dude. I appreciate you. All right. We'll see you. The phone number to AIS, 1-800-777-4247. 1-800-777-4247.

The City Council voted last night to override the mayor's veto of the Toilet to Tap water program. Monday night football last night. Man, the Patriots came as close as they've come all season to losing, but they ended up winning, beating the Ravens 27-24.
There's this thing in every major city called the Zagat Guide, or as George Chamberlain says, the Zagat Guide. Zagat. Zagat. It's one of the most lethal forms of martial arts ever. Wait. Zagat. No, I'd say basically what it is is it's a way to review restaurants. And George's at the Cove is San Diego's number one rated Zagat Guide restaurant. My favorite restaurant, the Pample Moose Grill, came in number two. My wife and I were talking about Jeffrey the other day. He's a dude that owns it. Jeffrey Strauss. And that guy is like a magician to me. He's got a real passion for food. It doesn't matter if it's french fries. He takes it and then he elevates it to something really special. And for me, it's all about a flavor thing. That's why I love that Mexican restaurant that we found in...
San Marcos' Restaurant Row. It's really, really good. And it's about... We went there last night for Rebecca's birthday. And it's all about flavor. Because I'm a foodie. Cocina del Charro is the name of it. It's new in Restaurant Row. Man, that place is... They know what they're doing. Some talented Mexicans in there. Okay. I believe that it is about time we did this. Oh, no. We do an exercise called I Don't Like It When. And this is the way that the exercise works. It's a way for two people on the Mikey show to be able to address one another in a safe place. Tell one another what their problem is with the other. Now, after one person is done telling the other what their problem is, that person is then bound to say thank you. And they can respond to it. They can give their reasoning for why they do such a thing, why they are that way.
They have an opportunity to explain their point of view. It's not a matter of defending. It's a matter of explaining their point of view. And then you go back and forth. And sometimes it's a way for them to really get to know each other and understand the way the other person thinks. Remind everybody, again, this is not a scoring kind of... It's not a game. Somebody's not scoring points. It's simply a way to communicate. Well, okay. That's all I'm saying. So with that being said, let's begin I Don't Like It When. Today's I Don't Like It When is between Ashley and Zeth. Ashley's our assistant producer and Zeth is our newest member of the show and the youngest member of the show. He works directly underneath Ashley. Ashley is his immediate superior. She's a little rough on him, to say the least. She's a little rough on him. Yeah. She domestically abuses him. That is true. She's made him cry. Grown man. That is a true statement. A grown man. That is true. He's a grown man. He's 22 years of age. He stands approximately six foot something. Six three, I think. Close to it.
She's about 5'6", 5'7". She's made him cry. So it's clearly a mismatch. Yes. But we know where. That's right. Well, Ashley, let's start with you. Oh, that's not right. Okay, sure. Get in my way. I will be running around crazy busy like a chicken with my head cut off and turn around only to run smack into your awkward mongloid butt. I wish you would just go do something. Push a button. Heat up food. Go smoke a stupid cigarette for all I care. Just get the hell out of my way. I don't like it when you do that. Zeth. Why don't you respond and you can explain your point of view on that. Well, first of all, thank you. And I would like to respond by saying maybe if you took your ADD medication a little more often, you wouldn't be running around like it's... Now, wait a second. Now, hang on a minute, Seth. Now, hang on. Now, time out. Wait a second. Hang on, guys. Hang on, guys. Now, time out. I just want to let Seth know. He can explain his point of view, but...
It isn't really the time to attack, is it? Especially when it doesn't make any sense. That's my point of view. That's your point of view. It doesn't make any sense. She's not going to like this. All right, Seth, go ahead. Ashley, I don't like it when you beat me up over the instant messenger. The verbal beating is bad enough, but you have to be the only human being alive to defeat someone via the instant messenger. Sky just giggled. Ashley, what do you say? Thank you, Seth. The only reason why I do that is because we're on the air, and it's just maybe if you're doing other things or I'm doing other things, maybe it's not appropriate for me to verbally tell you, but I still need to get the message across. Yes, well, that's a way of explaining it. Across. Across. Across, I see. Now, Ashley, would it be possible for you to communicate with him on instant message without, you know, the attack, I guess, is what he's saying. No, I understand, but I just don't think that he would really understand what I'm saying.
trying to say if I don't put it bluntly. Yeah, he would not understand. Seth, I don't like it. Go ahead. I can't stand it when you mumble on the air. I've told you again and again that it is important to speak clearly or else listeners can't understand what you're saying. Ah, that hurts. There are artists on the show, so how is it beneficial for our listeners to have you speak if they can't hear or beep you? Wow. That is to the point. It clutters up the airwaves, my friend. That is to the point. Boy, I think the point's been taken. Zeth, what do you say? Reaction. Thank you. Oh, there you go. I think there was a feeling there. I like this. Wow. That worked. Yeah, I like this. He's taking accountability to it. I like it too. Well, he's starting to go back into the show. Oh, is that what's happening? No, come on. Eddie, let him. Eddie, let him. He's just, he's intimidated. He's intimidated. Okay. Seth, go ahead. Seth, go. Ashley, I don't like it when you tell me to speak up. Let's see. I would. No, wait. But then he said he'll try to do that. He'll try to do that. And then he said, I don't like it when you... Okay, let's hear him out. I would speak up, but it's hard for me to find time in between you trying to satiate your appetite for attention and blaming me for everything that you do wrong. Whoa!
This is healing. This is healing. This is healing. Ash, what do you say? Ash, what do you... Ash is just shaking her head with her mouth open. Ash, what do you say? Come on. Come on, Ash. What do you say? Thank you. There you go, Ashley. Good for you. That was really nice. How do you respond to that, Ash? How do you respond to that? She's against the rope, Zeth. I don't know how I'm supposed to respond to that. Like, Zeth, when you... talk and I'm not even in the break or the conversation. I don't see how me not even speaking is like wanting attention when you are still mumbling, not speaking clearly and sound like crap on the air. Like I don't see how that has any similarities. Hey, point well taken. Eddie has the look on his face like that stung a little bit. Eddie has that look on his face like that stung a little bit. When I'm not talking and I obviously don't want attention, you're still mumbling and sounding like crap on the air. So how do those two things connect?
Let me get in there. Ashley, you got any other ones for Seth? Yeah, I got tons. Go ahead. It's a healing moment. Which one should I do? I don't like it when you exaggerate. It makes it hard for me to ever have your back. Wait, Eddie. Eddie's giving a face like, well, she's got a point there. Thank you, Eddie. It makes it hard for me to not only have your back, Seth, but to believe you in the first place. Like, The time you said that you and that girl were dating when, in fact, she told you the exact opposite. And the next day she had a boyfriend simply, or you said she had a boyfriend simply because she found a guy and hung out with him one time. I don't see how that's a boyfriend. Eddie's doing the body language that says, wow, it's really cold. I don't see how that's a boyfriend. You're totally exaggerating. It makes you look lame. Wow, Skye just mouthed the words too far. It makes you look like you have no game. It makes you look lame. And it just makes me have no credibility when I back you. Wow, that was sweet. Seth, what do you say? The honesty, the honesty, you know? I mean, you got to appreciate and thank somebody for being that honest. Go ahead, Seth. Thank you, Ashley, for the punch in the groin. I don't bring up things that go on with you. Wow. Your relationships and what have you. That is a heck of a response. What does that have to do with you? Can I go now? Yeah, go ahead, Seth. You're so stupid. I don't like it when you don't drink. Oh, my God. I did it. Don't get me.
Wait, he said that. Really? You want me to resign? I can't believe he said that. What happened? I didn't hear the last part. Wait, why? Why is that? Why? She was a lot more relaxed when she was a few shots in. You didn't know me when I used to dream. Wait, sit down, Ash. You didn't know me, Brad. Maybe it was hearsay. Maybe he heard me. Sit down. Wait, wait, Ash. Wait, Ash. Hang on a minute. He used to listen to the show, though. I'm just saying. Rob, you should probably not help. Yeah, Rob, you probably don't want to help. It'll deteriorate if you do. But hey, listen, Ashley, what do you say to Zeth? That's sweet. You're supposed to say thank you. I mean, the guy was telling you how he feels. He just told me to relax. Well, yeah, he wants you to have a drink. Relax. This is really breaking down. Listen, that's all. All the guy is saying is he wants you to relapse. That's all. Don't try to read into it. Don't try to take it for more than what it is. Take it for what it's worth. Don't make it into something it isn't, Ash. Just know he wants you to have a shot. Seth, I don't like it when you cry like a blubbering baby bird. Not only does it make me look like a raging bee, which I am not.
backbone, which is not going to get you any respect in this business. It's a man's business, Seth, so stop acting like a little girl. Oh, there you go. Setting the women's movement in radio back 15 years. And Seth, what do you say? Yeah, and you have to be a strong woman to move up in this business. What do you say, Seth? It's a man's business, by the way. Everyone listening, especially you, Sky, know your place. Sky and Ashley, it's a man's business. Know your place. Yeah, know your place. No, that's not what I meant. And Seth, what do you say? I will simply say thank you. There you go. It's very nice. Ashley, wait a minute. Before you go on, P1 Wolf, are you there? Yeah, I have it. Zeth, the five, Ash, one. Okay, thank you. Okay, thank you very much. We're not really taking score. Oh, thank God he did. I wasn't taking score of this thing. I disagree. I think Ashley's up right now. Really? You got Ashley at one? Ashley at? I think it's a shutout, to be honest with you. So Zeth hasn't got one in there yet? He's gotten it in there, but I mean, hers are. Did you hear the relapse? Yeah, but I mean, hers are clearly... What about the trying to get attention all the time? Well, that's true. That was kind of a point. That was good. You know, I'm an East German judge. Tough judge. Tough judge. Olympics. Go ahead, Seth. Okay. Ashley, I don't like it when we're hanging out and there are other females there and you slip the morning after pill in their drinks when they're not looking because you say, quote, you don't want to take the chance of me reproducing and breeding a new form of super stupidity.
This is probably statements about his exaggerating, but hey, listen, who am I to comment? Ashley, Ashley, oh, I wish I had a camera to take a picture of her face right now. So is that Seth winning right now, Eddie? Seth's up. Eddie. Really? Eddie, do you want to reevaluate? I said you were shutting him out. Yeah, that's right. He said you were shutting him out. No, I know. Ash, what do you say to Seth? Thank you. I mean, that made no sense. I don't even know what that meant. I have it on good authority that Boston Rob helped Zeth with something. Oh, well, that makes a lot more sense. Starting to make a lot more sense. Whoa, whoa, hold on, hold on, hold on. Starting to make a lot more sense. Oh, Zeth, you needed help with here? That's so cute. Hold on. He's a grown-ass, he's a grown-ass man. He's a grown-ass man. It might be a shutout. Join the P1 Text Army. Text Mikey to 35253. Standard rates apply. It's the P1 Text Army. Jared is opening its newest store this Saturday at 10 a.m. in National City outside Plaza Bonita Mall. That's Jared! When you walk into Jared, there's always someone there that greets you. When people shop at Jared, the selection and service make quite an impression. I thought the selection was really good. They have diamond earrings, diamond necklaces, diamond bracelets, white gold, yellow gold, platinum. It's hard to think of everything that they have because they do have so much. Come to the store with five times the selection of ordinary jewelry stores. Jared opens this Saturday at 10 a.m. outside Plaza Bonita Mall. If you're one of the first 500 customers, you'll receive a Movado Mini Clock absolutely free. And you can register to win a one-carat diamond. No purchase necessary. See store for details. Don't miss the Jared Grand Opening this Saturday at 10 a.m. in National City outside Plaza Bonita Mall next to Outback Steakhouse. 105.3. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. This is turning into a real rough commute here this morning. Right now out of the South Bay especially, you've got this 805 northbound, which had an earlier accident in North Park and now one near Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. It's caught up with the commute. You're essentially on the break, struggling from before 8th Street in Chila Vista. Slow and go all the way up. to Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. Not a fun freeway to be on. The 5 freeway might be a little bit better for you. You do have some slow traffic. I've got a truly misstep to the National City, but not nearly as bad as that 805 freeway. West 94, because that 805 is so messed up, that's back to it now from Lemongrove Avenue to the 805. The westbound 8 is actually slowing over the Grossmont Summit, trying to get out of El Cajon this morning. Slow and go over the Summit through La Mesa all the way in towards Lake Murray, munching up again from Waring to the 15. South 15 is quite heavy as well from El Norte Parkway to Via Rancho Parkway. So is again at the Carmel Mountain Ranch. That's affecting the eastbound of 78, trying to get onto the 15. That is backed up quite heavily into San Marcos. And the coaster rides southbound 5, bumper to bumper as well, from Palomar Airport Road down to an earlier accident. They caught up with the commute and made that pretty tough just past the racetrack at Via de la Faye. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Now back to Mikey. My wife's name is Rebecca. I'm married up. Larry from Three's Company. Is Larry from Three's Company? Larry Dallas. Eddie. Stop it. Now you're showing off. Put it on the board.
There's no border. What was that guy's real name? Larry. Oh, is his real name? Yes. I'll give you. Crap. Hang on. Richard. No pressure. Right now, B-Dub is screaming it in his car. Mikey Show, hello. Medal of Honor, is that the show? Ah, Medal of Honor, Sky. No. All right, what is it? It is RuneScape. Oh, it was right on the tip of my tongue. Thank you. RuneScape. Richard Klein? Oh, I bet you it is. I think it is Richard Klein. It is Richard Klein. Oh! Holy Toledo! Eddie just randomly pulled out of his bag of tricks the guy that played Larry, the neighbor Larry upstairs on Three's Company. Unbelievable! Richard Klein? Wow. Yes. Holy cow. Expense. I'm going to go home. All right. We have to take a timeout. However...
When we come back, a very famous person. Oh, wait a minute. I just told you that one. Did Heather Mills do porn? Uh-oh. Oh, I hope not. Did Heather Mills. Does Sean own it? Could be. We'll tell you about it next. This is The Mikey Show. Hey, I love The Mikey Show. You know what? You guys are awesome. I do, too. I appreciate you every day. Thank you, brother. Folks, I'll just take a few questions, then I need to get back to the kitchen. Todd, The Daily Napkin. Huge night here at Rubio's. As manager, how much of tonight's success do you attribute to putting enchiladas in the lineup? Well, I think it's obvious that the enchiladas make us stronger. They've elevated our roster, and they're going to be a go-to dish. Todd, fork and knife news. Could you tell us more specifically what these enchiladas bring to the table? Well, the char-grilled chicken, slow-roasted carnitas, and two-cheese enchiladas all have their own strengths. But I think the magic for each of them is in the sauce.
Fire roasted tomatoes, toasted chilies, garlic, onions, spices. It's a powerful combination. Yeah, Todd, flavor illustrated. You just used the words powerful and magic to describe the sauce. Todd, is the sauce really juice? Huh? Are these enchiladas juiced, Todd? How is it possible that they're this good, Todd? They are pretty yummy, Todd. For a limited time, enchiladas are back at Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill. Four delicious choices, two per plate. With Rubio's Fire Roasted Sauce, they're way beyond ordinary. And they're only at Rubio's. Well, man, oh man, is this the time of year that the ladies are expecting a little something extra in their stockings, Skye? That's true. Well, Eddie, it's a magical time of year. That's true. It's a winter wonderland here in San Diego. Yes, and we expect a little magic, a little something special. And maybe a little something from Sandy. Sandy Claus. Well, if you're thinking about proposing or if you're getting the pressure to propose, head over to Robbins Brothers. The Border Patrol found a cross-border smuggling tunnel filled with an estimated 15,000 pounds a pod.
Some big NFL injuries from the weekend. The Giants' Derek Ward broke his leg. Raven's Stephen McNair out for the season with shoulder surgery. And the Lions' Roy Williams likely done for the season as well. Before the show, we all catch up. Find out what's going on in all of our lives. Find out if anything interesting has happened. And Sky was telling us a story that we immediately said, save it for the air. Oh, man. And it's something that was interesting in that it's... kind of one of those deals of are you sky or do you fall on the side of sky or are you not you know do you do this or do you not do this and i think it changes with age yeah because i think this is something that as i get older i find myself being a little more brave and a little more outspoken than i used to be well we've said this as you get older you just don't care right just don't give a rip you don't care you know what i mean
You kind of, inside, you just go, you know what? I'm older. I don't care about, you know, impressions sometimes. Who cares? It's not as important to you. And it's kind of funny, too. from Skye because Skye is obviously very brazen on the air and doesn't care and loud and obnoxious and horrendous. I think people get what you're trying to say here. Annoying and will just grab you crazy and beat you up with everything she says. Right. Piercing. Right. Please stop. I beg of you. Oh. No, I get what you're saying. You know what I mean? Right. But off the air with strangers, she's very shy and doesn't like to speak, really. Don't like to cause waves. I'll just kind of sit. I'll be over here. She doesn't like to make them either. No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. You know what I'm... No, no, no, no. No, no, no is what I'm saying. Don't read into it. Sky, don't analyze. Don't analyze. Please. It'll make you nuts.
Shut your door. That's my new favorite thing. Whatever. So, Skye, tell everyone what happened at the Home Depot. Your favorite place. That's right. Well, okay. So, if you haven't heard me talk about Depot before. Depot. The old HD, huh? Right. I have a time limit, okay, being in Depot. Something inside me snaps after 30 minutes, and I just can't hang anymore. Fancy. Yes. I want to hang. out of here yeah no tolerance after a half hour so uh i was definitely past my half hour point and um we were again buying window treatments um getting the the mini blinds you know the vertical blinds the one not vertical but the anyways the mini blinds you know i'm talking about and they cut them there you buy them in the store and then they cut them there to fit your window so we were the second people in line to get our blinds cut there There was this dude in front of us. I'd say maybe mid-60s. Kind of like a bigger dude. Like real tall and big. And then his wife was there. She looked a little bit younger. A little timid looking. She looked to be an Asian American woman. And she was just there standing by his side. Asian American. How do you know she was born in America? She could have just been Asian.
But then if she marries this man, then she becomes an American citizen, which makes her Asian American. How do you know she was married to him? Well, they had rings. She had a ring on. Why are you? Let me tell my story. Oh, man. Please, give me a break, guy, for one friggin' second. Oh, no. Oh, man. Well, you just don't, you know. I just thought, yeah, I thought that was... So I should just call her Asian? I thought you were characterizing. I think you're making an assumption either way. I'm going to make the assumption she was Asian American, okay? Please. You could do like Rebecca's grandfather used to say and say Oriental. That's not appropriate. So anyways. So the worker at Home Depot was a woman. And she was the one in charge of cutting the blinds. And so he is buying just one set of blinds and kind of all up in her business about what she's doing and how she's doing what she's doing. And she's being so polite and so nice and, you know, walking the guy through every step and even talking to him about when he gets at home exactly what he needs to do. And then he wanted this specific piece cut, but you don't use this piece if you're doing like an inside mount.
Like, you can mount the blinds on the inside frame of the window or else the outside frame of the window. And if you're doing it on the inside, I guess you don't use this piece, okay? This is this chick's job. She knows what she's talking about. The guy was adamant that you needed this piece to do an inside mount. And she was like, no, sir. And she's trying to explain to him the difference between the inside mount and the outside mount. And the guy just snaps. And basically, he starts, like... I wouldn't say screaming, but he was in between the yelling and screaming. I mean, it was like a loud yelling, and he was so condescending and telling her that she doesn't know what she's talking about, and she needs to get a man over here, somebody who does know what they're talking about. You said a man? Yeah. And how dare she? And these blinds have just already been custom cut to fit his window. He's now not going to buy these blinds because she ruined it. And she ruined the whole experience. And how dare she? And keep going on about how she doesn't know what she's talking about and how they need a man. What's the Asian American doing at this point? Nothing. Just sitting there. Just like, another day at Home Depot. Really?
And at this point, something inside me, keep in mind, I'm past my half hour Home Depot, you know, quota. And something inside me just goes, and of course the woman working at Home Depot, she can't say a thing. She's working, you know. And Home Depot's pretty darn good about when it comes to customer service, you know. So she is just sitting there with a smile, just taking it. And I remembered being that woman when I was a waitress and just having to take crap from jerks. Mm-hmm. And something inside me was like, no more. Light him up, Skye. Oh, and I did. I raised my voice. And I started telling this guy where he can put it. And how dare he. And does it make him feel more of a man to go off on this woman? And maybe he can talk to his wife like this. And she won't talk back. But this isn't his wife. And he has no right. What did she do when you said what the wife do? Like her face. went from just sitting there like it's another day to like dropping like like she's just witnessing a car accident right well she is she is pretty much a bad one you know and i said you know just because she's a woman doesn't mean she doesn't deserve your respect you know referring to the home depot employee and how dare he and she does this for a living and she knows what she's talking about more than you know what you're talking about and was he fighting back oh
like he was kind of trying to like he was starting to say things but i wasn't letting it you know and it was apparent to me like he wasn't used to somebody speaking to him like this he's the one who speaks to people like this wow and yeah and i just went off and i said this poor woman is being nothing but nice to you and because she works here she's not allowed to tell you where to stick it But I'm a customer here, and I can tell you, and you do not speak to people like that, and how dare you? Wow. Yeah, and at that point, I just... Sky's a guest on Oprah today for this. And at that point, I just walked away. You know, my blinds were all stacked up. He didn't yell back at you? Oh, he started to, like, he called me a name as I walked away. You know, started with a B. And I just walked away, because I knew staying in that spot. And so I just kind of did, like, a lap around the store, and then came back to the Home Depot. co-employee because i still need my blinds cut you know and and i said yeah you know what i'm sorry about losing my cool i i normally stay out of things like that but i just couldn't take it anymore that guy was such a chauvinist you were only trying to help him and educate him and
And you could tell by the look on her face, she was so happy I did that. Oh, really? Oh, the employee? Yeah, she was so happy because she couldn't. And I'm sure I said everything she was thinking, and I'm sure she deals with jerks like this all the time, you know? But then, of course, for the rest of the day, I'm going, should I really have done that? Was that the right thing to do? Gosh, I've never really done anything like that before. So I still don't know if it was the right thing to do. 570-1053 is a phone number. Well, here's my, I got two thoughts. Okay. One is, you know, to each their own. That's your deal. You know, you wanted to do that. I know for me, I'm, when I get into that space of like, you know, angry. Yeah. I'm miserable. you know i just know this from experience about myself so i can't like i can't go there right because i was the rest of the day it was like you're yeah and then i'm like is he now gonna take this of course i have this whole picture of what his home life is like and so i'm like is he now gonna take this out on his wife for the rest of the day and poor her and see the deal is like here's the deal i think that it's very like the intent is very noble right and i'm sure that that girl from home depot appreciate it no doubt about it uh if it's me
I know I'm going to be miserable. I'm going to be miserable. And I'm also thinking, I don't know that I'm going to change this guy. You know what I mean? Of course. I'm sure I did. And so there's good and bad sides. The other thing, my other thought on it was, you didn't think that he was just kind of crazy? Because he sounds crazy. No. To me, he was old school. He was from the time of... why is a woman working in a hardware store got it like you know she has a vagine she must not know what she's talking about and that was definitely the vibe i got from the way he was speaking to her that's ballsy wow that was the first time i've ever done anything eddie what do you think i've done several times where i've you know see somebody a customer you know yelling at somebody or acting inappropriately appropriately where i will look at the employee kind of make eye contact with them smile at them just kind of shake my head like you know just don't worry about it you know kind of hang in there type of thing but i don't think i would intervene only because i feel like i may make it worse for the employee like once i leave they're still with that customer and
Like, I don't know if that guy would end up going and complain to management after that, you know, or something like that, you know? Well, one thing is that Sky said that I thought was interesting is, you know that this chick that worked there must have gone home and been like... Guess what this chick did. Stoked about it. For sure. She must have been stoked. Well, because I didn't intervene until the point where he started getting real lippy and was like, I'm not going to buy these. And he was getting ready to take off. But after giving her a verbal reaming and inside, I'm like, this guy can't get away with this. This isn't right. I got a question. What did Mr. Sky think of all this? Oh, God. Yeah. Lucky. Poor guy. He came in to the after effects of it because we were waiting in line to get the blinds cut. So he wanted to go tinker around the store. So he wasn't there when it actually went down. Would you have done it if he was standing with you? That's a great question. Probably not. I probably would have just talked smack about the guy real loudly to my husband, you know, but so the guy could hear. I'd been like, what a jerk. I think he is, you know.
But, yeah, something inside of me, dude. P1, Vicki can relate. Vicki, go ahead. Hey, how you guys doing? Good. Good. So I used to work at Home Depot. I worked there for about two and a half years in the decor department. And you deal with a lot, a lot of customers there, especially the construction workers. And being a female and like a tool. place, a place that you build, you know, your home and stuff like that, you do get a lot of flack. I had two customers that came in and they needed blinds. And the funny thing about it is when you come into the Home Depot, you get stock blinds, right? They're, you know, like Sky was saying, they're custom cut for you, but they're still, you know, they're still kind of like a run-of-the-mill blind. But when you cut them, you're specifically trained to have to have them fit like inside mount or outside mount. And there's certain things that you don't need. Well, instead of getting all caught up in the how you make blinds, tell me about your experience as a woman there. Well, yeah. Okay. Well, basically, these guys didn't think I knew what I was talking about. And they basically started giving me lip. And because I was young and I was 18, I kind of gave them a little lip back. And they called the manager. And so...
Basically, I was talking to the manager. He's like, well, Vicki, he goes, basically what you need to do is you need to do what these guys tell you if you want to keep your job. And I was going, okay. Well, and I had to reiterate to him, to the manager, standing in front of these guys what to do so he could tell them himself. So it was like this triangle of communication, and I never understood it. And in a way, it almost just makes you feel like, really small and and after that for two and a half years it's just enough for you to like go you know what i think this probably isn't the right place for me to be working at sounds like a catch-22 because if you say to them you know this is wrong right you're in the wrong and if you do what they say and they go home and it doesn't work you're in the wrong it's like And it's just funny, like what she says, she would have to say something to the male employee, and the male employee would say the exact same thing to the customers, and then it would be cool. But coming out of a woman's mouth, it can't be accurate. Even if they had gone home and realized that what they wanted to have done, even if it was the wrong way, it didn't work, they would come back to me and go, how do I make this fit? And I was like, well, that's funny, because last week you thought I was wrong. Thanks for the call, Vicki. I appreciate it. P1 Mohawk.
Hey, how you doing, everybody? Good. Yeah, I think most of us can relate to that lady's situation. We've all had jobs where we might have had to take some crap. And I don't think I'll ever say these words again, but Sky, you rock. Well done. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate you saying that. Yeah, I mean, listen, I think it took a lot of courage to do what you did. Especially you knowing you the way we know you. Well, we've been on the opposite end of her wrath. That is true. And it's not a pleasant place to be. That is true. P1 Gary. Hey, Sky, on behalf of everyone that has to bite their lip, thank you for doing that. Because there's too many people that abuse employees, like being in the trade industry or the restaurant, where you just have to sit back and take it. And a way to stand up for that lady who can't. Yeah! Well, thank you. Sky, this could be a new thing for you. Like, you could be employee girl. Yeah, I go around and police all the... She wears, like, an outfit, like a superhero outfit. Yeah, she could be, like, employee girl. P1 Talon. Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning. I think this is kind of a fundamental issue. I think that we live in a world right now that the only thing that bad people need to get away with anything is for good people to do nothing. And I think Sky did the right thing there.
That is an interesting way to look at it. Awesome. Thank you, Taylin. I'm now feeling better about it. I was kind of beating myself up all day after it happened. Question. Oh, no, what? Is this going to encourage you to do this more in the future? Oh, I was actually just thinking that. Well, because you know that there's a downside too, Sky. Well, yeah, because after it happened and I was like thinking about it all day long, I was like, you know, you really shouldn't do that again. You just got to mind your own business. Keep your mouth shut. But now with people telling me like. When I was a waitress, I so wish somebody would have done that for me. You created a monster. Oh, no. Just saying. Oh, no. This guy's got a new career. You're like freaking Godzilla now. Stop it. She's a Home Depot advocate. That's like her new thing. So, I teased it before, but when we come back, I'm going to tell you this story. Did Heather Mills do porn? I'll tell you after this. Mikey? Hello? Hello? Sky, I don't know if you know about this. What? But they recently did a poll of Mountain Rocks. Now, these are rocks that exist only in mountain ranges. Oh, okay. And... And those are different from just, like, regular rocks? Well, yeah. I mean, they're different from canyon rocks, for instance. They did a poll of mountain rocks, and mountain rocks, by and large, prefer cricket wireless. The reason? Text messaging. For free. And the new dollar menu. Oh, well, rocks text message? Yeah, they text their other rock family members. About what? Rock.
things and uh like you know hey who stepped on you who stepped on you who stepped on you and uh maybe a famous person yeah yeah yeah well what they do is they send text messages and picture messages to their rock friends saying this is who stepped on me sometimes these uh rock friends live in mexico and with a new dollar menu you can uh take advantage of the fact that you can text message friends in mexico so now we know ladies don't wear skirts if you're gonna step on a rock They may be taking photographs that you may not want. Here's some words of wisdom my father used to share with me when it came to money. He used to say, Dr. Phil, if you really want a family, all it takes is a $50 bill and a drive across the border for a black market baby. Oh. What? What?
And then he said, how do you think we got you? Catch Dr. Phil. That's terrible. Only on the Mikey Show. Sky did interpretive dance too. I did not do that movie. Sky likes that interpretive jive. I did not do that movie either. That's how I remember it. It's 8.30. Angelina Jolie's brother has been seen driving around Beverly Hills with license plates. that say Shiloh. Sean Taylor was laid to rest yesterday in front of thousands of mourners and 53 of his teammates. This was the part of the song where Sky was having us stop the song and start it again. Four times. Guys, you can't talk while I do my interpretive jive. It throws me off. It throws me off. My name's Sky. What's happening? You were smelling your own armpits. That is weird.
Sexy, but weird. So, Sky, did Heather Mills, Paul McCartney's ex-wife, the woman that has one leg, did she do pornography at all? Well, it depends who you ask. Now, she was a model back in the day, back in like the 80s, and she claims that for art's sake, she did do some topless stuff, but that was it. Like, she never did porn. And then when she was... When did the leg thing happen? I think that's a pretty important point. Well, this is pre-losing the leg. Yeah. Okay. And then when she was asked about a book she was a part of, which is called The Joys of Love, she says that that's educational material. But according to people who have seen it, in there she is seen performing sex acts on a nude male porn star.
Also in some shots being spanked and showing all her goodies. Educational? Yeah. I can't control my horny level. It's teaching people the joys of love. No, thank you. Just leave it up to them to figure it out. That's crazy! No, thank you. So interpret that as you will. I don't want to. Yeah, Ashley's out on Heather Mills. Wow. I just hope this isn't all too good to be true, hee hee. Ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha. What do you guys think of that big, tall tree over there in Rockefeller Center? Does that turn anybody on? Is that real exciting? What? Sexy. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, is that exciting? It's a big deal every year. They make a big deal out of that tree. Maybe if I lived in Manhattan. I say, you know, if they're going to do it, make it gigantic. Make it like 150 feet. Like, the tallest one in the world is in Brazil. They were showing it on the news over the weekend. And it kind of irritated me.
I said, we should be number one at the tree. How tall is it in Brazil? Like 250 feet, bro. That's crazy. It weighs like 11 tons. I said, why don't we make a 450 foot one? Thank you. I like it. No, I don't like it. And make it all strong. Why don't we leave it planted in the ground? It should have like Chuck Norris ornaments on it. Yeah, light size. You know what I'm saying? Yep. I'm sick of our wimpy tree. Like, go big or go home. Speaking of, Boston Rob and Eddie are going to be doing a bowling challenge against each other on Thursday. Yeah, I'm Brazil. Yeah, Eddie's Brazil. I'm the Brazil tree. I'm the new American tree. It doesn't exist. Yeah, it does. No, I'm Chuck Norris. It's going to be Boston Rob and Eddie bowling against each other. Poway Bowl. Poway Bowl. That would be ridiculous. People can come out and watch, man. We're doing a show where anybody's welcome to come and hang out. Awesome. Field trip. You know how on Fridays, somebody wins the opportunity to come hang out? Well, on Thursday, anybody can come hang out. Poway Bowl. It's located, ironically, in Poway. Whoa. On Poway Road. That's crazy. Oh. Oh. The irony just doesn't stop. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.
We got it. 12-941 Poway Road. Poway Fun Bowl. Yeah, nachos. Yeah, nachos, man. That's what they have there at the bowling alleys. That's what you get. You get the nachos. You get the hamburger. And the fries with the crinkly kind of fries. Coca-Cola Classic. Yeah, take one of those. You should give me the meal you got or whatever. Combo number four. That's right. Eddie and B. Waddup. Waddup. Eddie B-Rob Bowling Challenge happens Thursday. Poway Fumble, 12-9-41. It ain't going to be fun for him. I was talking to this guy in the gym about it yesterday. And he was like, you're not going to practice at all. And I was like, dude, how hard is it to throw a ball down there? Dude, I'm not kidding, bro. It's hard. It's hard. And that's what he actually told me. But wait a minute, Rob. Please don't turn this into a... I don't even know how... When Eddie slaughters you... I'm not going to turn it into that at all. When Eddie slaughters you...
I don't want to hear any excuses. There will be no excuses. If I don't double his score, I'm going to be kind of embarrassed. Double his score. I'm going to give you a run for your money. I was in a league. That's awesome. I just want to see you hit some pins. I want to see you hit pins. I'll be hitting pins left and right. 7-10 split. You're so stupid. That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. He's so proud of himself, too, with that comment. He's cracking up at himself in there. Wasn't that funny? He's pumping his fist. He's pumping his fist. Not one point for you. Oh, he did? He did, Hank. Okay. Welcome to What's Rock Jukebox. Thank you. It's a competition. And what I mean by competition is that you perform, then you're judged by Eddie, Sky, and Sean. Damn right, Mikey. They judge you on how effeminate you sound. And so what you do is the only people that can call are guys. This is not a game for the gals. It's not funny to hear a girl sing Wuss Rock songs. Of course, girls love those kind of songs. It's funny when guys sing them. You sound gay. So 570-1053, you better know these kinds of songs. There's only a couple of rules. One rule is you cannot say, I can't hear it. Thank you. Whatever, dude. You can hear the song.
And the only other rule is that if you don't know the words, be creative and don't sing, I don't know the words to this song. Terrible. What we do is we're going to start a song. It's a wuss rock song. When the clip ends, you take over singing the song. It's that easy. Simple. You don't know the words, be creative. Come up with something. Anything. If you've never heard the song before, which is impossible. That's impossible. It's impossible. You shouldn't be calling in. Why are you calling in? If you don't know these songs. It's impossible. It's impossible. You will know these songs. You'll know them. Please stop calling me. No, well, you know what I'm saying. Uh-huh. So first up is P1 Rory. What up? Hi, Rory. What up? Crack a wagon. Not too much. I'm going to play you a clip when the clip stops you start. Are you ready? Let's do it. Here we go. Yeah. My name's Bono. Mark. He did say be creative, not funny. I mean, I don't know. It's up to you guys. Eddie. That's really difficult because, number one, who's the hook of the song? I mean, you should know the hook of the song. He really doesn't know Still. Hey, Rory. Rory, you really don't know Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For? What's that? You really don't know that song for real?
Oh, I didn't know that part. Okay, that's okay. He did what you said. Technically, I should say yes. But I'm as disappointed as Hank Bauer telling me he saw somebody naked and just trying to explain it and being like, oh no, it wasn't sexual, dude. It's no big deal. I'm just saying he's fit. Yes. So now I'm bummed out. I'm like, oh, okay. So no details, I guess. So I got to say thumbs down. Wow, I said thumbs down. Skye, what did you think of Rory? I believe Rory does know the words to that song. Basically, I believe Rory is a gay man. but he hasn't come out of the closet yet. So until he's willing to deal with what's going on inside, I can't validate it for him. Oh, he's like Zeth. I'm sorry. No sense. Don't read into it, Zeth, if you're listening. Sean. I mean, are you kidding me? That's right. Get him, Sean. Are you kidding me? You too. He doesn't know you too. He doesn't know you too. I know they suck.
Oh, is that a fact? Is that a fact? Well, guess what, dude? Here's my hope for you. I hope you get rickets, malaria, jaundice, and a spastic colon that only acts up on blind dates. Bad time. My favorite part of that was, as Sean was naming off the things, Ashley was checkmarking each individual thing. I'm in. P1 Lil Tuna's on the line. Hey, Lil Tuna. Hey, Lil Tuna. How are you? Doing good. All right, man. You ready to play? I'm ready. Hopefully, you're better than Rory was. I think I can bring it. Well, yeah. What we're looking for is the real lyrics, but if you don't know the real lyrics, then go with what you know and be creative and funny. Be creative and funny. Are you ready? I'm ready. All right, here we go. Kermit the Frog was on the line. Takes me away. Eddie?
Everything was great about that. The inflection, the sound, the kind of mumbling of the words because I don't even know what the guy says in that song either. I feel like we just watched the finale of Dancing with the Stars and they named Helio the winner and we get up and we hug and high five and our eyes meet and we're like, yeah, we know what's up. Sky. Wow, yeah. Perfect 10. See you at Lips for Sunday brunch. Nice. Wow. And Sean. Yeah, dude. You know, I could totally see you brushing the hair of a bricklayer while talking with a lisp. You did it, bro. What did Lil Tuna win? We got some Rock Before Christmas tickets for him. Very nice. Hang on the line, Lil Tuna. One or two. I don't know which. There you go. Whichever one hasn't happened. That's right. I believe two. Up next is a Wuss Rock Jukebox Hall of Famer. Oh, wow. What do we got? None other than P1 Buckley. Yes! The best! Wow. Ladies and gentlemen. Wow. Let me tell you something. Buckley's good. That's all it is. He's good. He's good. He's good. Buckley, how you feeling? I am so ready now. Oh, yeah. That is what I'm talking about. Come on. Here is your song.
Twice you've done this to me. Oh, no. I quit. No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. I got another one. I got another one. I got another one. It's late 80s. He's better at early. I got another one. Buckley, I got another one for you. Are you ready? I guess I quit. No, no, no. Buckley, don't do this to us. Don't do it, Buckley. Don't do this to us. It's not your fault. It's our fault. It's our fault. It's not you, it's us. Buckley, here we go. Don't know that one either. Put up an old one. Anything. He's so good. We can't leave on a note like this. We can't leave on a note like this. Damn it!
This is Buckley we're talking about. The guy does it better than anybody. He does it better than anybody. Buckley, I don't know what happened to you, man. I'm losing it. No, bro. Have you been listening to Kixi? I can pull out some air supply for you. No. Eddie, what did you think? I mean, I feel like I showed up at a Halloween party and the guy that I'm really interested in We're both dressed up like gay cowboys, but I'm serious. He's just messing around. I'm so crushed right now. I feel like I just showed up to a family function, and there's this guy standing there in a suit, and he looks a lot like the dude I see at the raves every weekend with the glow sticks and no shirt on, but I'm confused. Right. Sean? Oh, well, where to begin? Don't do it, Sean. Let's see. He doesn't deserve this. How about scabies, skin tags, a staph infection in both nostrils, and a malignant mole? No, okay, hang on a minute. I got another song for you, Buckley. Buckley, redeem yourself. Here we go.
Kiss your mouth. There's our little swisher. He's bad. I don't care. He's the best. Eddie. I want to kiss your mouth. I'll take that as a vote for yes. I'm talking to you, Mike. I'm getting weird. Sky. You're the best. Perfect 10. Sorry we ever doubted you. And Sean. Yeah, I mean, I'd like to do mouth stuff as well. Okay, thank you, Sean. That's all I needed to do. It doesn't involve kissing. Oh, my gosh. Eddie. Too late. 840. No, no, no, no. Eddie Lee. He started it. He started it. Difference call. Unfuckly. Say what you have to say and shut up.

And now, another conversation with a man who hasn't switched to Geico. I'm afraid the problem is Geico.com. What do you mean? It makes shopping for car insurance too easy. Way too easy. Well, we just thought folks should be able to get a rate quote without jumping through a lot of hoops. Really? What's next? Using Geico.com to pay my bill? Report a claim? Add a driver? Well, now that you mention it. Oh, no. If you don't mind car insurance made easy, visit Geico.com or call 1-800-947-AUTO. 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance. have missed this morning on the mikey show we do an exercise called i don't like it when it's a way for two people on the mikey show to be able to address one another in a safe place today's i don't like it when is between ashley and zeth ashley let's start with you oh that's not right go ahead i don't stand it when you mumble on the air i've told you again and again that it is important to speak clearly they're already on the show so how is it It's beneficial for our listeners to have you speak if they can't hear or understand you. That is to the point. Zeth, what do you say? Reaction. Thank you. Zeth, go ahead. Ashley, I don't like it when you tell me to speak up. I would speak up, but it's hard for me to find time in between you trying to satiate your appetite for attention and blaming me for everything that you do wrong. Whoa!
The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Was that fun to relive, Zach? Yeah, absolutely. And can hear it again and again. Yeah. Put it on a continuous loop on a CD. All day in the car. Welcome back. Ashley is as subtle as a sledgehammer. It is 8.54. Apple has donated over 100 iPods to kids in the Poway School District that lost their homes in the wildfires. Ooh, man, it was a close one Monday Night Football last night. Patriots came close to losing, but they didn't. They beat the Ravens 27-24. Sky has new releases that are out today. Oh, my. And these are video games, CDs, and DVDs. Yes, I know you'll like them. I love them. Well, I mean, they're just, I wouldn't say I love them. Well, you did, though. They're okay. Now, people need to know that Sky, when reading the written word, There's a toughie today in here, Mike.
When Sky reads the written word, sometimes the letters are a little confusing. Sometimes. I have no problem articulating. There are just certain words that are a bit problematic. Do you see what I'm saying? Let me give you a for instance. This isn't a real for instance. It's like an example. It's not real. It's a hypothetical. If she reads the word San Diego, she would say San Diego. Am I right, Eddie? Yeah. Right. Sounds good. Well, never. It happened today. Not with that one. Not with that particular one, but I'm just giving people... You screwed an O and a U up. You screwed an O and a U. What was it? It was Inuratu that she said, and it's actually... Inurato? It's Narato. According to some. So she saw the O. According to some? Including the paper it's written on. Yeah. Well, we differ. So the paper said Inurato.
And you saw Inarratu. It happens. Right, Skye? Not to everyone. But to some. What do you got, Skye? All right. Today, new video games out. We have the Golden Compass for Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PS3. Somebody told me I'm supposed to be against that. And PSP. Yeah, I've read that. I read in Newsweek that it's anti-Catholic, but I haven't read it completely. It's anti-God. Something like that. What is the idea? What is the Golden Compass? I have no idea. I don't either. Anti-God? That's weird. It's supposed to show kids that there's not really a God. This is what I read. I don't even know if it's true or not, but that's the claim. And it stars Tom Cruise's ex-wife. Correct. Her name's Nicole Kidman. She's the star of the movie. It looks really cool. Polar bear stuff? Yeah. The CG and all that? But I'm anti-anti-God, so I won't see it. Yeah, I just Googled it, and a CNN article came up saying, Is Golden Compass selling atheism to kids? Let's see. Based on a novel, the writer of the novel is accused of anti-God beliefs, but other organizations are supportive. One Catholic group offered good reviews. See, I want to...
I would like to know more about it, see what it's about. But here's my opinion. Everybody knows what my beliefs are. I'm real founded in my Christianity and belief in Jesus Christ and all that. I have a lot of faith in that regard. But my belief also is it's America, man. I'm going to teach Jake. So if I don't like that idea of that movie, I just don't take him. Says a 12-year-old girl from England goes from England to the Arctic edge of another universe where she becomes locked in a battle between good and evil. The characters are shadowed by their own demons taking animal companions that have soul-like qualities. Okay. Back to the new video games out today. Eddie? Beowulf out today for the PSP. Beowulf. I am Beowulf. Yes, you are. So for the PSP, that's out today. Godzilla Unleashed for the Wii. Wii! Warriors of the Lost Empire for PSP. The Elder Scrolls Shivering Isles for the PS3. Jenga World Tour. Jenga. For the Wii. Ultimate Duck Hunting for Wii. You like Jenga, Ashley? That sounds easy. That's why she likes it.
Especially if it's on the Wii. Hey, listen, it just sounds easy. Yeah, it sounds fun. Ultimate Duck Hunting for the Wii. Oh, that sounds great. I want to hunt ducks. Yeah, with the Wii. Yeah, with my Wii. Gotcha. Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 for the Xbox 360. That sounds very Japanese to me. Elvin and the Chipmunks for Wii and PS2. Sounds like Japanese people would love that game. What is it called? Dance Dance what? Revolution. You've never heard of this? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Isn't that the one where you stand on a pad? Yeah, and there's like competitions. Like competitive people. Instantly imagine Asian people doing it. Listen, I imagine them being unbeatable. Like I could not. There is no way. I could practice from now until the end of this year. I won't even be competitive. They're crazy good. Good Dance Dance revolutioners. He deserves to die. Okay, fine. I just am saying I can't play as well as you. I'm not as good as you. That's all I'm saying. But do you deserve to die? He deserves to die. Fine, if that's what you want to say. Atari Classics evolved for the PSP.
And then we have Dragon Ball Z, Budokai, Tenkichi out today. Oh, Tenkichi 3 out today. Save that clip. Well said. Hello, everyone. Enjoy that. That one sounded good. Yeah, sounds like fun, huh? New CDs out today. We have the new debut from Blake Lewis out today. The full album. You remember the beatbox? Yeah, we heard the song and it kind of sucked. From American Idol. The first single kind of blew. It's called Audio Daydream. That is out today, the name of the album. Listen, I'm going to make a prediction that that album sells less than 200,000 copies, even with the fan base. Yeah, you're probably right. I think it sells less than $200,000. I say he'll make $400,000. Oh, come on. That's nothing. That's half a million. That's what Britney did, though. If Taylor Hicks can sell $400,000. But he won the whole thing. Yeah, but he's not as hip as Blake is. He ain't got no Soul Patrol. The people that buy CDs are young and, you know, kids. Impressionable. I think he'll get at least $400,000. Why is this guy looking at us intently?
Well, no, I was trying to look up because I read a story the other day about Jordan Sparks' debut album being a flop, and I don't think it even sold like 200,000 copies. Come on. Jordan Sparks. Whoa. Yeah. Dude, if he can't, he can't. Yeah, they were saying it's like the lowest debut out of any idol person. Really? Do we have that Blake Lewis song? No, we don't. Okay. Jordan Sparks got a... A hit. What's it? Tattoo? Tattoo. Yeah, that's why I was surprised. Tatooine. Tatooine. Well said. She's a good singer, man. She's a real good person, too. That's Philippi Sparks' daughter from the New York Giants. Raised a good kid. All right. Also new on CD today, we have Godsmack. Good times, bad times. Ten years of Godsmack. A best of album with one new song on it. So that's out today.
We have the Live Earth CD DVD compilation out today, the concert for A Climate in Crisis. Is that the one Metallica played at? Tons of different artists, yeah. So I don't see them on the CD, but they're probably on the DVD. So it's two DVDs plus a CD, lots of good stuff on that. Mm-hmm. And then we have Wyclef Jean with Carnival 2 Memoirs of an Immigrant out today. Well said. Those are the new CDs out today. P1 Rubber Duck. Yo. Go ahead. I just want to say I'm kind of fed up with Sky already, man. It's Dragon Ball Z 3 Budokai. Tenkaichi, not Tenkichi, you freaking joke. Really mad. I'm sorry I'm not fluent in Japanese or nerd. My bad. Sky, give that one to you. Thank you. Okay, new on DVD today, Superbad. Oh, Superbad. What up? McLovin. Oh, yes. You got it, Mike. McLovin. Yeah, McLovin. Talk about it. Best movie ever. Ashley says...
It's the best movie. It's in my top five. She said ever. Ever. It's in my top five. No, no, no. It's number one. It's the best movie ever. It's number one. You said ever. Number one movie ever. Go ahead and say that I said that. Put it on the board? You're saying put it on the board? No, you don't want to put it on the board. Go ahead and say that I said that. You don't want to put it on the board, though. It's the 2007 Dumb and Dumber. It's the best movie. It's so good. It's a bold statement. It's so good. It's really a bold statement. Have you seen it, Mike? Of course I have. You lie. You lie, man. McLovin. That's all you know. Don't act like you know. And then McLovin. You don't know. You're so dumb. All right. Also out today, Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End. It's Caribbean. Again, my bad. Anyway, The Nanny Diaries out today, Scarlett Johansson. My wife tried so hard to get me to get that on the TV, and it was her birthday. No, I wouldn't do it. I thought it was her birthday. No way. I'm not watching that. But it's her birthday, not your birthday. I wouldn't watch Good Luck Chuck, and I wouldn't watch that one. You're the worst husband ever. I'm the best husband ever. Oh, let's be honest. No, opposite. What did you end up watching? You're pretty good. We watched another chick flick. What? The Assassination of Jesse James Bond. How dare you? On her birthday. On her birthday. On her birthday. On her birthday. You can't even. Wow. Wow. Selfish. She must have loved that. She's very hanky. She just IM me. Selfish.
I am, yeah, and your movie worked out real good. Oh, wow. Get him, Rebecca. When she's right, she's right. It was a turd, that movie. Wow. But I'm not watching no nanny diaries. Well, it's not your birthday, jerk. Worst husband ever. Anyway. Hey, wait a second. If we're talking about remembering spouses' birthdays in general. I didn't forget it. Thank you. I mean, give me a break, you over there, with the birthdays of the spouse. I had a little lapse a couple weeks prior to the birthday, but I celebrated, and whatever, it's his day. Whatever he would want to watch, whatever he would want to eat, his day. You're the worst. You are the worst. You're the worst. You're here, I'm here. Absolute worst. Out on DVD today, we have Rocky, the complete saga collection. Six discs, all the Rocky movies. Yeah, but only three of them are any good. Yeah, but it's only like 40 bucks on Amazon for all of them. That's a good deal. What are you going to do with the ones you don't want to watch? Say you have them? As Christmas ornaments? Re-gift them. I like the way you think, Mike.
Well done, Sky. TV shows to DVD today. We have 24, Season 6. Saturday Night Live, the complete second season. Will and Grace, Season 7. Law and Order, Special Victims Unit. Uh-oh. The fourth year. Seventh Heaven, the fifth season. Touched by an Angel, Season 4. Battlestar Galactica, Season 1. Shawnee and HD. Eddie, have you been Googling the American Idol sales this whole time? Yeah. And then finally, Diagnosis and Murder, the third season. And enjoy. What did you find? Well, what do you want to know? I got the top to bottom. Who has sold the most records of anybody? Kelly Clarkson. How many has she sold? 9,314,000. That is a bona fide superstar. That's crazy. Second, of course, Carrie Underwood with $7,134,000. Third may shock you guys. Daughtry. He's fourth. Aiken. Clay Aiken, yeah. Clay Aiken. So then we get down to about number seven with Taylor Hicks with $697,000 of his album.
Not the last, though? He's seventh. He's seventh. Not even close. I mean, they have everybody. They have everyone. Like everybody that's released an album. That's ever been on Idol. I will say that the absolute lowest seller is either Elliot Yameen. No way. Elliot Yameen's top ten. No, he's number 11. Okay. Then top, the lowest. I'll take a guess at the lowest. Now, this is out of everybody, every American Idol artist that has released an album. Yes. I'm going to take a guess. Okay. I will say that it's Bucky Covington. He's got a big hit. He's in 13. Ruben. No way. You've got to think. These are guys that are like... Josh Grayson. He's a top tenner. Really? Wow. Number nine. That's amazing. Kelly Pickler, even. Number 10. Oh, wow. Catherine McPhee, number 12. Wow. She did terrible. She won, didn't she? Yeah. She won America. No, no. She came in second. To who? To Taylor Hicks. Oh, yeah, yeah. Even William Hung, 14th. How many are there? 33. Oh, wow. There's that many people that have recorded albums? You're people that you probably don't even remember. Right. Okay, so who did we think didn't sell that many? Jordan Sparks. She hasn't even charted yet, so I don't... Then that means she sold... No, no, no. I apologize. I found her.
She's 19th with 119,000 so far. That's a flop. That's a flop. Even with that huge radio hit. Systematic sold 160,000 records. Oh, wow. Well, you don't need to. They sold more records than Jordan Sparks did. What about that Constantine guy? Yeah, Constantine. Constantine. What was his name? What was his name? I don't see a Constantine. Constantine Morales, I found him. Yeah, but we want Constantine. Well, that idiot is 24th with his album Constantine. Oh, wasn't My Funny Valentine the name of the album? That album sold a whopping 22,000 copies. 21,000 of those were friends. Oh, absolutely. And in very last place. What do we got? Who sold 1,000 copies. Wait, wait, wait. I think I'm still interested in more of that list. Please ask me. Ask away. Fantasia? Yeah, Fantasia. Fantasia did pretty good. She's sixth with 2,181,000 copies of two albums she sold.
Free Yourself and Fantasia. What about Guarini? Yeah, Justin Guarini. Yeah, from Justin to Kelly, Sean's favorite movie. I love that movie. Justin Guarini, not bad. He is in 17th place with 150,000 copies of two albums. Oh, then that is not good. Yeah, and the second album, Never Charted. Oh. That hurts. What about Mandisa? You don't usually get a third album when that happens. No, probably not. Mandisa has released two albums, True Beauty and Christmas Joy, with Christmas Joy did not chart. That's two more albums than I've done. She came in 20th place with 58,800 copies. You know what's really crazy about that? When we released Best Of CDs, Just in the city of San Diego. We'd do pretty good. We'd do better than a lot of these people. Oh, yeah. We sell a ton of records. The Mikey Show. And they're combining. So if we combined all of our sales for every CD, we'd be top 10 of American Idol sales. Imagine if the show were on across the country. We'd actually sell some records. What about Bobice? Bobice. What about Bobice? Bobice. What about Bobice? Bobice. Actually, not bad.
He has released two albums. The second album, Bad. What about the dude that accused Paula Abdul of the sexual harassment? What was that? Well, Bull Buys, he sold 693,000 copies. 670,000 were his first album, The Real Thing. Corey Clark did release an album. That's who you're talking about. And he is next to last. and he sold 2,500 copies of his self-titled album. Dude, it had to cost more than that to make it. Oh, yeah. For the plastic to put it on. Jennifer Hudson. Ooh, Jennifer Hudson. She's got to be... She hasn't released a single album yet. Yeah, I didn't think so. She's on the Dreamgirls soundtrack, but she doesn't have... What about Ashley? She's on American Idol. Oh. No, I'm not. We don't know. Oh, we're not allowed to say whether or not Ashley's on American Idol. We don't even know. So how many albums did she sell? I don't know. I can't think of anybody else. Kimberly Locke. Kimberly Locke came in 15th with three albums with 229,000 copies. That's bad. That's not good. Yeah, for three albums. Some other names you may recall. You know what, though? I mean, I have to say it again. What? That's gnarly that Kelly Clarkson sold nine.
million records amazing that's that's real superstar stuff man now we we got us you know it looks like she has three albums and my december her last album was a pretty big flop thankful sold over two million breakaway sold over five million almost six million my december seven hundred and three thousand That's the album that she decided she wanted to be a big girl, and she wanted to write the songs. They told her not to do it. She said, no, I know more than you guys know. I know better. Listen, I know that your name is Miles Davis, and I know that you're a jazz trumpeteer named Miles Davis. That has nothing to do with record producing. And you're dead. And you've been dead since the 70s. Now, I know your name is Clive Davis and you've worked with all the heavyweights in the industry. And that you have combined sold over 950 billion records. But I know what I'm doing and you don't. So flop. So you want to know who the last person on the chart is? The very last person selling only 1,000 copies of his album called Stories from Hollywood. John Peter Lewis.
Oh, is that the redhead? No, that was John Stevens. Who was John Peter Lewis? Didn't he like dance once and got ripped for dancing? Yeah, he was like a goofy kid. Yeah, he was just a goofy kid. I do not remember that. He was in season three, finished in eighth place. He's not the kid that was the cowboy kid, was he? No. The cowboy hat? He was kind of a nerdy kid. Yeah. I do not remember. That's funny. Great list. We're going to talk to... We're going to talk to John Lovitz here in a second. John's got something really cool going on. That was a great interview. I really liked having him in the studio. We got him? John. Good, man. How you doing? Great. You guys got something really special and different going on. Is it tonight? Yeah, it's at my comedy club. It's called the John Lovitz Comedy Club. It's at Aubergine in 4th and Island at 9 o'clock. What is it? It's called The Secret Show and it's sponsored by...
MySpace, and the show's free, and you make whatever you want, a donation, and money goes through the Red Cross to help, you know, with all the fires. That's cool. Awesome. That is really cool. In San Diego, yeah. Now, from what I understand, the way that you do it is you print your MySpace page. So if you have MySpace, you print it out, that's your ticket. Right, and then you can go on, like, on MySpace, then you click on Comedy, and... You'll see my picture, and it'll say Secret Show. There's a little banner, and you click on that, and you can get all the information. It's tonight at 9 at 4th and Island. It's Frazier Smith. He's hosting it, and he's one of the best hosts in the country. And then Nick Thune's going to perform, and he did the show with David Spade. He's hilarious. And then I'm going to do my show. You're headlining it, right? You're going to headline it, right, John? Yeah, I'm headlining it. Cool. By the way, I've talked to a few people that have been to the club and say it's really nice and it's a lot of fun. Oh, yeah. Oh, thanks. Yeah, it's been going really well. I mean, we've had a lot of great comedians there. I think this weekend is Eric Schwartz. He's from San Diego, and he's like the number two comedian. He's ranked number two in MySpace. Oh. That's cool. Yeah, and then I think after that, this guy wrecks Navarette. John, I don't know if this will surprise you or not, but...
After our interview where you were in the studio, I cannot tell you how many people said, you know, I had heard that John could be very confrontative, but when I heard him on your show, I thought he was a really cool guy. And I don't know anything about, I've never heard anything about you. I've seen you and I'm a fan, but I didn't, you know, I'd never heard one way or the other. And I said, really? I said, I thought he was the sweetest guy. People really still talk about the interview when you came in here. They really enjoyed it. Oh, thanks so much. That was pretty cool. We'd love to have you back in here again. And love to support this show that's going on tonight. And it's for a worthy cause. It's for, you know, this deal with the fires and people that were affected by it. Yeah, so, yeah. Well, you know, we thought it would be a good idea because, you know, it just happened, right? You know, and we just opened the club and said, well, why don't we do a benefit show? That's cool, man. Those people. Is the show all ages? No, it's adults. 18 and up? I think it's 18 and up. Okay. Give the check on the site. Cool. John, hey, listen. It's mostly adults because they serve liquor. I would say it's 21 and up. Yeah. John, we appreciate it. We want to get a lot of people, encourage a lot of people to go out there and be a part of this and raise some money. And thanks for coming on, man. We appreciate it. Well, I just say it's tonight at 9 o'clock.
Forth and Island. Cool. All right, man. Thank you. Thank you, John. We'll see you. You know, listen. I love that guy. Yeah, he's real different. You know, he's real different. So goofy. I love. I love the stammering, first of all. But my favorite is him calling in to promote a thing that he knows nothing about. That's my favorite. Just check the site. I can't be bothered with that. The show and the benefit, the area. The thing that I find interesting is that I can hear in his voice, you know, Mikey, I still don't trust you. I don't know what... The whole thing is like... Are you trying to make an ass of me right now? Is that what... And I'm like... Be genuine. He's like, okay, yeah, joke's on me. I get it. I'm the idiot. I'm the jerk here. Okay, great. You guys make my morning so much better, I swear to God. This is The Mikey Show. I appreciate that, dude. That's very nice of you to say. Rock 105.3.

Sean Taylor was laid to rest yesterday in front of thousands of mourners, including 53 of his teammates. You know what we haven't really talked about? This MySpace thing. Oh, dude. This is a crazy story, man. Yeah, I didn't really hear about this, and then I read all about it in People Magazine last week. This is nuts. I finally saw what you were talking about. I haven't gone through it. Oh, wait, no, no, no. I did. I read the whole thing. The People Magazine one. Right. You know about this, Eddie? No. It's a weird story. Ash, have you heard about this? The MySpace girl? No. It's pretty sad. It's horrendous. You got a 13-year-old girl who suffers from depression. She meets a kid on MySpace named Josh. And Josh becomes her friend. And is showing her a lot of attention. And for about six weeks, he's showing her an inordinate amount of attention. sending her pictures of himself, the rock-hard abs, no shirt on. He's 6'1". She's going through a 13-year-old very awkward phase. And one day, out of nowhere, he turns on her and he starts telling her what a horrible person she is and says that the world would be better off without her. It upsets her to the point that she kills herself. She hangs herself in her bedroom and commits suicide.
The parents are trying to find out more about Josh because what they basically want to do at that point is they want to teach Josh a life lesson in that some of the words that you say can really be heavy. It turns out that Josh is actually the mother of someone who knew this young girl. And the kid that knew the young girl and the mother were like in cahoots and thought it was real funny. Yeah, because the two girls had like had words, you know, in the past. They had a falling out. What's the girl's name that died? Megan. Megan. So Megan and the girl had had a falling out. And so the girl that she had a falling out with and her mother decided that they were going to play a little prank that led to the girl killing herself. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And they just lived a couple doors down. They like lived in the same neighborhood, just a couple doors down.
The parents knew each other. The different parents knew each other and, like, socialized. Well, what happened was is that the prosecutor was considering, you know, filing charges, and they were looking into it, looking into it, and they've just decided they're not going to file charges. Because really, they can't. They say there's nothing on the law books that addresses this. You know, they kind of looked into things about stalking and harassment and really nothing on the books covers this. So legally, these people did nothing wrong. It's really, really sad. Wow. Yeah. So people are sort of taking the law into their own hands. In this neighborhood, yeah. Yeah, and these people that did this are paying the price. Really? People are paintballing their house, vandalizing their house, threatening them. It's pretty bad, right, Skye? Yeah. And like a weird kind of twist, the story is like around this time, because the death happened around this time last year. See, we didn't know about this. This actually happened in 2006.
Yeah, because it took a while to figure out who this Josh guy actually was and to get to the bottom of all this. But so, yes, around the holiday time last year, since they were neighbors, the parents socialized, whatever. The parents, the parent, the mom who set up the phony MySpace had asked the mom of the girl, Megan, you know, who committed suicide to hold a foosball table for them that they had bought for their children. Prior to everything happening. Yeah. And then once it all came down and they found everything out as like a little therapy for the parents who lost their daughter, they took that foosball table and they destroyed it and just, you know, massacred it. But I mean, these families were that close that the one mom said, hey, can you hold this and hide this so my kids don't find it before Christmas? And it's just disgusting. They were also pretty upset at the father because the father knew that the daughter and his wife were doing this and he didn't do anything to stop it. Yeah, and I also read like the mom who did the phony page would also talk to other girls in their little friend circle about the MySpace page. Listen, I'm not sure how I feel about that, Skye. I'm not sure how I feel about the dad and all that stuff. And this is why I say it. If that's happening in my family, which it wouldn't because that's nothing Rebecca would ever do. Of course, yeah. I would say to my wife, babe, that's messed up.
Yeah. Don't do that. That's messed up. Children are emotional. Absolutely. They're not equipped right now to handle things like this. But beyond that, that's probably what I would do. Yeah. I would probably say, hey, babe, that's pretty messed up. Don't do that. And I would, you know, kind of leave it at that. You know, and I don't know that he did do that or he didn't do that. But boy, it sure seemed like they were holding the father to a level of accountability that made me uncomfortable. That mother and that daughter are. wrong i agree uh outside people i don't know you know i don't know yeah but it just also shows how horrendous the mother is for the fact that she was like gossiping and giggling about it to other kids outside of her daughter you know other kids in the circle you know it's just uh you know it's one of those deals where you're like man that's not gonna go anywhere good i mean even if she hadn't killed herself That's not going anywhere good. It would traumatize the girl at the very least. For the rest of her life, probably. I'm telling you, man. It's really weird now, 07. When we were in high school, most of us, this stuff just wasn't out there. It was tough enough then, man. It was tough enough then before MySpace. MySpace now...
There's all kinds of new and inventive ways to hurt people's feelings with it. With the internet and with text messaging, you kind of lose an accountability. You can say very hurtful things without having to look that person in the eye and see the hurt on their face. People get email boldness or whatever, courage, and you call them on the phone or you confront them in person, it's a different story. You know what? Maybe I'm an old guy. But I would be in favor of legislation protecting people from stuff that could potentially, like, just really ruin them, you know? Really mess them up. I don't think it's right to do that to kids. But see, don't you feel like in this situation, it's the mother. The mother, the mother, the mother. When she should have been parenting her kids, she was playing helicopter mom, getting involved. Ultimately, that's the bottom line, you know? Screw all these, like, well, we need to have a law then that the internet needs to be, you know, totally locked down because that mother let her little kid, you know, whatever, get involved. I don't know about totally locked down. I don't know about totally locked down. But I think that because of things like MySpace, we are into new and creative ways to hurt people. I understand. I agree. And I think that people should be protected from being hurt. And I understand about First Amendment rights. I understand about freedom of speech. I understand.
I think we also need to realize it's the wild, wild west on the internet, man. It's like 1876. It all comes down to the parent, though. Ash, true. Like, that parent shouldn't have been doing that. No doubt about it. But, like, what about... And maybe it's different because I got a kid now. It probably is. Probably is different because I have a kid. All I know is that it was easy in 1987... to hurt somebody's feelings at school real bad. In 2007, when you can take pictures and Photoshop and add bubbles out of mouths and send it to all your buddies and it's like new and creative ways to hurt people, like kids, real bad. Way worse than you could without it. The effects of it are... I think phenomenally worse than when we were kids in 87 and the way we could have been hurt then. Right, because imagine how much it hurt to have somebody like draw a stick figure of you. Yeah. And now have somebody Photoshop your head onto the body of somebody doing something inappropriate. That's exactly it, man. Pass it around like that's you. Sky just hit on it. Like, it's one thing if you're drawing a picture of somebody and you're passing it around in class. Because there's no disputing that that's fake and phony. Exactly.
But when you're taking something that is on the internet and is given to hundreds of thousands of people, see, that's the implication of what hurts the person the most. At school, you're upset at high school that potentially a hundred people saw this drawn picture of you. So the implication in your mind is, and you don't think about it consciously, But sort of subconsciously, as a kid, you're like, imagine how many people have seen that. Okay? If it's on the internet, that number's infinite. It becomes infinite. And so to a kid, your mind is like, it's hard to even grasp. Too much to handle. It's too much to handle of how many people could see that. You know what I mean? I understand what you're saying, but didn't you also say that when you were growing up, the parenting of kids used to be different. Absolutely. It was hard to respect. It's worse now. And to treat people how you would like to be treated, etc., etc. So I would like to say like...
that that is just as big a problem, if not a bigger problem, than the fact that more people see that you're getting made fun of in this way, but it comes down to the parenting. I don't disagree with you. I think parenting is worse than it was, but I still don't. That's where the solution is, though. I'm saying that the solution is not in, well, let's make more laws to try to prevent this. The solution is in the parents, like the parenting. Okay. Let me say something about that because I thought about this. I've actually thought about this. I've really been interested in politics a lot more than I ever have been. Some politician at some point needs to go, we're going to go into black communities, Hispanic communities. We're going to go into these communities and we're going to really, really, really make these kids smarter than they are now. We're going to spend a ton of money. on making sure that really good teachers exist in low-income areas. Because to me, the problem in our country is that the people that are committing crimes are not very smart. And so that's what they have. Smart people, in general, do not commit violent crimes. People that are raised in a way where they're able to go to school, go to a university, and get a job,
They don't usually get involved in violent crime. So in those inner cities and in those areas like that, kids need to be, it's like they're forgotten, man. And I mean, I'm guilty of it too. What's important to me is, well, what's my school district like? Where am I going to live where Jake's going to have a really good, what I should be worried about is who could potentially hurt my son? Who could potentially be robbing my son? And what can we do? I'm watching this special on prisons the other day. 25% of inmates on planet Earth are in the United States. 25% of inmates on planet Earth are in the U.S. The prisons in California are 200% at 200% capacity.
They showed this prison in Salinas, and it's like a tough prison. Dudes were in a gymnasium stacked three high. Come on. Yeah, and they finally had to move the white people out of there because there was an attack at 8 o'clock at night. The southern Mexicans said, we're going to get the white guys, and they put batteries in socks and attacked. Oh, my God. And they had to move all the white dudes out of there. So I'm thinking about it. I'm like, well, what? Ashley, no doubt about it. Parenting is worse than it was and needs to be better. But if we really want to bring crime down in America, you have to make smarter people. In Japan, they don't have the statistics we have in Japan. And I think that by and large, a much bigger emphasis is put on making kids smart in Japan. Listen, they don't put up with slacking in Japan. There's no slacking. Like, you learn. And you learn, like, really, really tough curriculum. So, I don't know. There's my soapbox. We'll be back. I was on my way to work and I got the biggest smile on my face to hear you in the game. 5-3. Welcome back. It is 944. The city council voted last night to override the mayor's veto of the toilet to tap water program. Former Padres manager Dick Williams was voted into the Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee. Somebody just wrote me an email and said there is a website called stopcyberbullying.org. And it's about this very thing. And it gives examples of some of these ones. Middle school. where it says click here to vote on the ugliest and fattest kids at our school. Oh, my gosh. Think about that a second, and you go, if that was my kid. Oh, get it, man. Parents need to teach their kids not to be bullies. Well, they do. I don't disagree with you on that one at all. I just, I also know. I used to be the girl in school who would, like, whoop butt.
on anybody who would make fun of the geeks or the nerds or the disabled kids. I would, like, light them up. It's such a hot spot for me. So let me ask you a question. Because I agree with you. I don't disagree with you. But I want to fight you. I don't want to fight, though, Ash. No, but Ashley, I don't want to fight. I'm saying what you're saying, but I'm still mad. Fighting you! But I like your point. No! Screw you, man! It's what I'm saying. We're saying the same thing, but it's my point. I like your point. What? I like your point. Fine. I'm right and you're wrong. Stop, Eddie. Shut up. Even though I agree with you. What did you say? Oh, really? Now you're agreeing with me. What, buddy? No. Oh, gosh. So, Ashley. Yeah? I agree with you. I think that you're right. Parents need to be more accountable. However, I do. Get him, Ashley. I believe. Sick him. I believe that it would be good to put some rules in place.
I think it's a form of, you know, we have laws and rules in place to protect kids off the internet and their safety off the internet. Like, you can't stand up in class and go, hey, kids, as a student, you can't stand up in class and go, hey, let's take a vote of who's the ugliest and fattest in the class right now. If you do that, you're going to get in trouble if you stand up and do that. You can do it on the playground. No, well, you can't write on somebody's locker room. you know, like a racial slur or question someone's sexuality or you can't do those things, you'll get in trouble. You'll get expelled. But not necessarily. Only if you get caught. Yeah, but what we're questioning is whether or not it's right or wrong and if something should be done about it. Like, you're giving me the reality of it is only if you get caught. That's any crime, Ash. I mean, that's like saying, you know, you can't go into a liquor store and rob it and you just go, Well, not if you wear a mask and you don't get caught. So you're just saying the Internet is a more easily accessible way for kids to, like, make fun of. Absolutely. I'm saying that. And I'm also saying that the Internet is the last bastion. It's the last one. Yeah. We've sort of created laws for everything but that. Like, for whatever reason, you can do anything there.
I get what you're saying. You can do anything on that internet. Yeah, yeah. And what I'm saying is, oh, man, think of what that does to a kid. Think of what that must do to a kid to see stuff like that. I mean, this girl committed suicide. Yeah, and I guess the only thing I was saying was that I agree with you. The only thing I was saying is. But I hate you. But I don't. But you're wrong. The only thing I was. And I'm right. I'm not fighting you. Yes, you are, but you said however. I agree. You said however. I'm not fighting you. Did you not say however? No, I did. You know what? You're wrong, buddy boy. I know he's the same way. I was just saying that it will ultimately come down to the parent because if you put rules on the internet, then kids will always find a way to do the evil things they do. So it's more about the parents and the values they instill in their children. That's like saying, let's not make a law about robbing the bank. People will always figure out a way to rob the bank.
It's the police officer's fault. No, I know. We're both right. Oh. There it is. B1 Art. Hey, Mike, I got an observation. Isn't it ironic? You know, Ashley's, oh, I speak up for all the kids, whatever. He's the biggest bully to poor Seth. Oh, yeah, I'm such a bully. I'm the biggest bully on this show. There is some irony there. Give me a break. Save that clip. I don't want to. No, save it. Save it. P1 Nomad is on the line. Hey, Ash, I find myself often agreeing with much of what you say, but I think there's a lot of clarity in what you said about the parents requiring them to have more responsibility and accountability in the way they raise their children. Thank you. I agree. I think you're right. Mikey's just saying on top of that. Yeah, I agree with you. I fully understand. I heard everything you said, Mikey. Well, I think the problem with that is regulating the Internet. You know, that's a slippery slope. I do agree. I do agree that it is, but I think it's necessary. Yeah, like I don't even really know how, like, I don't even have an opinion on it yet because it is so touchy with the First Amendment right and where is that line? I just think that we need to protect kids in that way, man. And I fully agree with you. And I don't know. I'm with you. I don't know. How do you go about doing that? Do you regulate the Internet?
more accountability and responsibility for the parents or in the schools. Get rid of it. It's tough. Yeah, let's get rid of the internet. Let's get rid of it. Hey, listen, I said this 10 years ago when the internet first came out. I said 20 years ago when the internet first came out, I said, let's just do Etch-A-Sketch for everything. And people were like, that's crazy. Turns out you're right. You were right. But like I said, that's what I was saying. Oh, I'm not. Oh, my gosh. He's got to have the last word. We understand you. I agree with you. What more do you want? Do you want the tears to come out of my eyes? I mean, I don't know. Do you want the tears to come out of my eyes? You're the winner. Yeah, you win. One, Ashley. The champ is here. Ashley won Mike nothing. Listen, I win. I know you do, Ashley. You got it, Ashley. You win. Listen, I win. Okay. We got it. Parents. They're the root of all evil. Parents did it. If we just got rid of all the parents. There you go. There's the answer. That's her point. I think we should round up the parents and drown them. Oh, wow. That's a little rough. Okay, shoot. Fine.
P1 Joel. You know, the problem is you can't regulate the Internet. I don't know how you would do it. I got an idea. Uh-oh, here we go. I've only thought about it two minutes. You've got to give me longer than two minutes. What's your idea? Let me think about it overnight at least. Come on. Pray about it a little bit. Here's my idea. Okay. You make it so that if somebody gets hurt, harmed, There's a... Physically or emotionally? Yeah, see? Ask Ashley. How do you even find who's responsible? Oh, you can do it. Hey, Mike hasn't got there yet. Hey, listen. I'll just hire Sean. Mike, how can you catch all the pirates? Sean will figure out how to find everybody. Even if you... Ask Sean how tough it is to spoof an IP.
Oh, spoof the IP shot. I just spoofed you while you were on the line. It's not difficult, but you have to have some technical knowledge. Ah, yes. A mother and daughter, I don't think you're going to have that. You know what? The core problem, though, is it's not like regulating the Internet or anything like this. It's the parents. I know. No, no. The problem with this particular situation is that the cops don't have anything on the books to prosecute with. Right. They just need something to prosecute with. Something that says, okay, if you do this and it leads to someone's death, then we may prosecute you. That's all. How about this? How about this? How about this, Skye? What? What do you got, Mike? If you write something... deemed hateful you're in trouble about another kid now i say this is 18 and under a minor i say this is a minor if you write something about him and you're a minor if you write something hateful but see where's the line of hateful look up the word hateful on is i don't like your hair like because we we have things like that for you know based on race and religion and sexual orientation but as far as like
I don't like her new bangs. Like, can you be prosecuted for that? I like her bangs. You do like her bangs? I like her bangs. Okay, well, then, my bad. I do not like her bangs. I like her bangs. So it's like, where's that line of what's considered hateful? Or, you know... Alright, here's the definition of the word hateful. Alright, what do we got? According to Webster's Dictionary. Arousing hate or deserving to be hated. Unpleasant, dislikable, distasteful, full, or expressing hate. I don't like her hair doesn't qualify. That's not hateful. Vote for the ugly. See, and I think that gives leeway. I think that gives leeway. So vote for the worst hair is not hateful, even though it would. No, I think that when you add the voting aspect to it, that's hateful. See, it's still too vague. I don't think that's a gray area. It's hateful. It's too vague for me.
Like, I don't think someone should be... None of this would happen if you had parents. Doesn't the government have enough on its plate as it is that you shouldn't have to put... It's their job to protect them. Yeah. You know what? It's the parents' job to teach the kids how to do and say, you know, what is nice and appropriate. Okay, Ash, let's leave it at that then. Let's leave it at that then. To regulate the kids' use of the computer. Parents put a lock on the computer so the kid can't get in and vote on the stupid website. Great idea. Great idea. Hey, parents, every parent listening, do that. Problem solved, Ash? Problem solved now? Well, the parents might not know to do that or not. Oh, well, then let's put a billboards up in San Diego that say parents. Be better parents. Is problem solved now? No, that's not how it works. The way you solve the problem is you say, if you do it, you're going to get in trouble. Otherwise, let's solve all crime this way. You know guys that rob banks today? It's their parents' fault. They raised them wrong. What's the difference? Ash, what's the difference? No, I get what you're saying. It's just frustrating. But I'm going to argue this. But I'm not. Hey, listen, pal. I'm already invested in this argument. I can't back out now. I ain't giving up, bro. That got Ash or Sky to smile. I'm not going to give up. Sky, that was funny. That Sean said was kind of funny.
What is the core problem? The core problem is the parents. They don't know how to do what they do with the kids. And then when you don't raise them properly, it's when you have the core. And then you have a problem. And that's the problem. Thank you. P1, Phoebe is on the line. Figure it out, bro. Go ahead, Phoebe. Hi. I was just calling because I work with the school district and pretty much bullying is the last thing that they're worried about. They're more worried about drugs and gangs and alcohol. Bullying, like some girl doing something to another girl, last thing on the mind. Well... I mean, I work with the juvenile court. I understand. I understand. But I'll tell you one thing that I cannot ever be on board with. And this even has to do with... Sky's mom in that... What? It has to do with your mom in that your mom has every right to follow that thing that she's got about cars that don't make... hybrid cars that don't make enough noise. Because I don't go for the argument of, don't we have bigger things to worry about? No, not if something is important to you. That's important to her mom.
And if it's important to you as a parent that your kids don't get bullied, yeah, I guess we could say, well, AIDS is more important than that. I guess we could say, okay, I guess hunger is more important than that. I guess we could say homeless is more important. There's always going to be something more important than something else. But if it's your thing, man, if you're concerned about it, figure it out, bro. Eddie says we got a break. No. No, we have to, I guess. Come on. I could go on and on discussing this. We know. There's people on the line. I got more points. 570-1053. Mike was here. The Mikey Show continues. Mike is a f***er. Rock 105.3. Hey, hey, I'm here for the party. Hi, coach. What's up? Good morning, guys. Just a couple of things. You know, I coach high school ball in North County, and over the last two seasons, you get to know some of the guys on long bus rides. And a lot of them, you know, over half are from single-family homes. You know, their parents are gone. They're on the computer by themselves, or they're seeing, they have no example, and it's just about the way we're going as a society of having divorce rates up.
Boys telling their moms what to do, when to make dinner, you know? I mean, it's just wearing what they want to wear. Coach, you're making a great point. Like, if I hear you right, when Ashley's saying it's the parents that we need to be concerned about, the answer to that is, what parents? Yeah. What parents? Half the time, the parents don't even exist. What are we going to do? Change that? I would love to, by the way. I would love to change that. How are you going to change that? Yeah, figure it out. What is going on in my headphones? Something weird. Check. One. Sibilance. Hello. One. Check. Sibilance. Unique. Lion face. Lemon face. Lion face. Lemon face. But that, yeah. That's what I'm saying. Thank you. Yes. That's what she's saying. That's what she's saying? Yeah. Well, why didn't she just say so? Well, no, I agree with the call. The whole time. That's all she had to say. No, I agree with the caller. He made good points on my arguments. And I agree with you now. Perfect. I have a whole argument on it. I would love to hear it. From top to bottom. Yeah. I want to hear her argument. I just think that it stems from the parents. And if you want to go to the parents and you go, well, what parents? Where are these parents? How about putting in our education system as the kids grow up, how dangerous it is and how irresponsible it is and how, like,
detrimental to the child it could be having a kid out of wedlock when you're not financially stable when you're not ready etc etc and that will stop parents from getting divorced it's a whole cycle and then maybe that will prevent people getting married too soon having kids too soon having kids out of wedlock that will prevent divorce that will prevent the kids being raised without the proper values that they need and we and you're saying if we do that we will keep people married no i'm saying that if we It's not necessarily the getting married part I'm talking about. I'm talking about people having children when they're not ready. Now you're making a whole other... No, I know, but I'm saying that that's where it all can stem from, is having these kids and not knowing how to raise them because you're not ready. So that's where the problem lies in. So it's about helping the parents who don't know how to be parents or helping the parents who are parents too early, you know, not have kids. It stems with the parents. And so what we need to do... So if I follow you correctly, we need to keep young people from getting married before they should. It's not about the marriage. It's not like the marriage thing. I'm talking more about having kids when you're not ready. You know what I mean? And we got to stop that. And these parents don't know what, they aren't prepared to raise a kid. So we got to stop them from getting married. Not getting married, having kids when they're not ready. Okay.
We got to stop them. We want them to get married, but we don't want them to have kids before they're ready to have kids. Is that correct? It's getting like off base and it's getting confusing. That's not what I'm saying. She's not referencing marriage at all. I know. That's what I'm saying. But you keep referencing it. So what she wants to change. Don't reference marriage. I won't. What she wants to change. is having kids before you're prepared to have kids. No. You're saying... Oh, no. That's what you did. Oh, no. He got it right. But wait. I thought I did. No, she's disagreeing with her. No, no, no. The caller was... I can't say anything she'll agree with. The caller was saying... The caller was saying that most of these kids that are going on the internet when they shouldn't be looking at things, they shouldn't be... Their parents are gone or this or that. Well, again, that all stems from the bottom line, which is... Not having kids until you're ready. That's what Mike just said. I'm going to say it one more time. That's what Mike just said. Wait. I will do this. You're reasoning with a crazy person. I'll do it. Don't. So what you're saying is. Have Seth say it. Oh, good idea. The problem here. We need to fix. Yeah. Is people having children before they're ready to be good parents. Yes. Oh. Oh.
And you're saying that the way that we do that is that we add to curriculum at schools right now. Hey, kids, be ready. I'm honestly trying to understand. I know. And like you asked me, I can't do this anymore. You asked me what my whole argument was. Sky is not reading the living section of the newspaper. So that's my whole argument. That's fine. Eddie's reading Sports Illustrated. Let us know when you're done. Are we done? It's going to be a while. I think we're done. Did you figure it out? What about penguins? I love penguins.
That's a whole other topic. I heard divorce is bad for global warming. It's true. The parents felt for getting a divorce. No, it's actually a news story out today that when you split households, you have twice as much consumption. I don't agree with that. Oh, no. I mean, it's a fact. No, that makes sense. I do agree with that. Read it to me again. Well, no. So with a married household, you have one house. Right. When you get divorced, you now have two households. That's what I'm saying. That's what the study is. I'm saying, teach the kids not to do that when they're little. And they won't. Don't you. We won't melt the ice caps. Don't you. Stop it. You stop it. Well said. Who doesn't believe that people shouldn't be prepared? No. Can we move on? Can we move on? The whole world believes that. Can we move on? The whole world believes that. Nobody's ever ready to have parents. Or if you have kids. Nobody ever ready for that. We're never ready. We all are going to suck in one way or another. Let's just agree to agree. Come on. It all stemmed from you saying that you believe the government. Stop saying stem. Ha ha ha.
That you saying the government should have the regulations on the internet, and I really believe that that should not... The government has enough on its plate as it is. Okay, you're not a dumb blonde. The problem lies within the parents. Where does it stem from? She's saying all this to me, wearing a hoodie. It's a sweatshirt. It's cold. Wow. Does it stem from the cold? Where does it stem from? Cell research. Shut up, Eddie. You, please. I'm begging you. That movie Awake didn't do very well in the box office? Wow. Rob. Who cares? Get rid of all these. I'm exhausted. I'm tired of it already. Anything else, folks? I'm leaving. Thank you. Me too. I don't blame you, coach. This is going to be over real quick. I can call you after the show and you guys can continue. There you go. Good idea. Really good idea. Yeah, I have a feeling I'm definitely going to change her opinion.
But it's the same. Forget it. I don't know any of this. I feel like I'm arguing with Avril and she just wants to fight and show me her Doc Martens and be like, get off my bed. That is not true. Brutal. Anything. That is not true. Parents. Yeah, parents suck. You're just a stupid guy. Yeah, all you are is a guy. And guys suck. Girl power. Yeah. Oh, wow. I can spit. Yeah, like a guy. Yeah. See that? Dress like a guy. Yeah. Do anything you can do but better because I'm a woman. Yeah, I'm a skateboarder, man. Yeah, bro. Power. Yeah, I can skateboard. Dude, I got a chain on my wallet. Yeah, so I'm tough. I wear a tie. Black mascara. I can squint. I don't punch like a girl. Yeah. Kind of. Chiller.
Avril Lavigne just did some free show in Canada, and she had all the people waiting out in the cold for an hour while she got a pedicure. Oh. Yeah, she was rolled up over an hour late because she was getting a pedicure and then told the organizers of the free concert that the audience shouldn't be mad because it's a free show and they didn't pay anyway. to cater to your fans. What is she so mad about? Being from a middle class family in Canada? Yeah, it sucks. Yeah, it sucks, man. Nobody listens in. I hate having things that I want. Knock first. I came from the school of soft knocks. My mom went through my drawers. You see this room? It's my room. What is this, a Nazi regime? Get out!
out of my room. You're not even my dad. Bill. Bill is always the standard stepdad. Bill or Greg? Bill was my stepdad. Was he really? Wow. You're not my dad, Bill. Bill, shut up. You can't tell me what to do, Bill. The only thing worse than hearing Avril talk about how tough she is is talk about, like, when she's in love. That's the worst. Oh, it's so dramatic. Oh, like in arms. You're a front against the world that's trying to destroy. I can't destroy you. I can save you. Yeah, I can. I can save you. Our love is strong enough. Let's get married. There's never been a love like this before. Never in the history of the world. Of mankind, there's never been a love like this. See, it's in my journal. Keep holding on. In the face of all the things that are tough for you right now, my boyfriend that's in a boy band, keep holding on against all the things that are tough right now, like that article in Rolling Stone.
I love you so much. I'm going to draw on my hand your name. Yeah. In the back of my hand. I love you so much. I saved your spit in my vial that I wear on my neck. You know why? It's so weird that we're cool. Cool. I'm going to put a temporary tattoo on. Let's go get Hannah. Yeah. Let's go get Hannah. I want to have a necklace that has like a heart that's in half and you wear half of it and I wear half of it. Yeah. Until we break up. I'm going to wear your sweatshirt. Yeah. And it smells like you. Yeah. Because I can't be apart from you. And that's never happened before where a girl has a sweatshirt that smells like her boyfriend. This is unique to our situation. It's a brand new thing. It's like, yeah, I came up with it. It's unique to us. What? There's a hole in it? Better. Better.
Aye, aye, aye. Police with that. Avril. Get out of here, stupid. Nicole Richie was just very, very generous with the gifts that were given to her baby. I don't have an eating disorder. We're not talking about that, Nicole. I don't have an eating disorder. We don't have to keep piping up about that. I don't even say anything about your eating habits. But she has a distended belly. Oh, that's because she's pregnant. Eddie thought all this time she was like a little Ethiopian. He thought there were flies around her. I don't have an eating disorder. Really? God, I'm embarrassed. Eddie was like, it's gotten bad. I sent her money. Sally Struthers is on TV trying to save her. She was outside her front door. I don't have an eating disorder. No, it turns out she's pregnant. Oh, that's different. It's not as cool. Yeah, so her and her baby's daddy, Joel Madden, donated over $200,000 worth of baby stuff to a free clinic in Hollywood. That's nice. Yeah. Everybody has, like the in thing right now, the accessory is to have a boyfriend and a boy band. That's an accessory right now. Everybody's got to have it. Poser band. Poser punk band. Yeah. Hard. Poser punk band. Fall Out Boy. Boys Like Girls. Good Charlotte. Nick at the Disco. Oh.
Boys like girls. Yeah, we get it. And your hair looks like it hasn't been washed. We get it. And it's black. Grew up listening to Blink. Yes. Green day. You're from middle class America. You have pins in your clothes. Yeah. Oversized safety pins. Yes. Yeah, we get it. You're really white. From every one of these guys. Seriously. Hey, Gibson Guitars just said that they have a new guitar that tunes itself. Yeah. This thing is crazy. How does it do it? Okay, it's their newest Les Paul model, and it tunes itself in about two seconds. So the guitar recognizes pitch. No way. There's a processor that directs motors that tune the little pegs on the side according to the pitch. Two grand. Two grand? I'm taking a guess. $2,500.
Way more. Really? Really. I say three. $3,000? Come on. You got a price guy? Yep. How much? You guys are way off. It's a $900 add-on. Really? Oh, it is? So you add it on to your existing... Well, they say that you can order... Wow. They say it can be installed on many different models of electric guitars without leaving a mark. Really? Slash plays a Gibson. That's a good riff. Everybody that's cool plays those Les Pauls. Those Gibsons are real expensive because the pros use them. Yeah, they say the guitar itself costs just under $3,000 and then it's an extra $900 to add on the self-tuning feature. I wonder if guys in rock bands want a machine to tune their guitar.
Because I think some guys have their own little tune styles. For sure. So I wonder if people will like that. Well, it's like a ritual, you know, if you're a guitar player. Yeah, you get it. And that's cool, too. Yeah. Like, you know, picture the roadie who... he thinks he's kind of the rock star. Of course he does. When you're at the show, and you're sitting in the audience, and you smell the pot, and you're waiting for the show to start, and the lights, and you're looking on the stage, and that dude walks out, right? He's not with the band, but you're interested because he's on stage, and he knows it. He knows everybody's checking him out. All eyes on him. Yeah, and he's doing... Then he gets on the mic. Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey. Siblings, siblings. We good? Hey. It's always like that, too. What are you doing? Or, ah, ha, ha. One, one, one. Hot one. Hot one. Hey, hot, hot, hot. Hot one. Hot one. Hot one. Hot one. Is that good? Right on. Cool.
That guy loves it. He's best. So great. Some nights are better than others. A tiger attacked a worker at Tippi Hedren's Animal Sanctuary. So we'll see you later, guys. Nothing to see here? No. Does everyone know who Tippi Hedren is? I know, Eddie, you know who he is, right? I think so. I know the name for sure. Tippi Hedren was the female star of the movie The Birds. I think she was in a few of Hitchcock's movies. And here's a little inside story. Oh. He had a big time crush on Tippi Hedren. Tippi Hedren also is, I believe, Meg Ryan's mother. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh. Hitchcock had a big time crush on her. Wow. And wanted her real bad. And she was not interested. And so he made life miserable for her. Well, he was a walrus. Yeah, he was a trippy dude, man. That's a good call. Do you know examples of how? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, the worst one was, in the movie The Birds, there's a scene where she's in a room with a bunch of birds, and they're pecking at her eyes, and they're pecking at her. That scene, he did that for 12 hours to her. What a tool. He did that to her for 12 hours, and she was losing her mind. Like, she was literally, because there was real birds in there. So for 12 hours, she had birds pecking, and she was crying.
And begging him to have it be over. And he kept saying, no, we've got to do it again and again and again and again. Now, when you watch it, he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think Hitchcock's movies... Ashley, have you ever seen one of Alfred Hitchcock's movies? What did he do? He did The Birds. He did Psycho. He did Marnie. He did Rebecca. He did Rear Window. Vertigo. Vertigo. Have you ever seen any of these? I've seen Psycho. You've seen Psycho. The original. Yeah. Okay. And North by Northwest. All of his movies are really, really good. And they're really original and they're very stylized. Like he had this very particular style. But his movies are really, really good. Have you watched that movie, The Birds? That scene where she's getting pecked by the birds, you see a woman that doesn't look like she's acting. And she looks, she's a mess. She's a mess. And she's all bloody and the birds are all over her. And yeah, that was the deal with it. But anyway, Tippi Hedren is the actress. Who knew she had an animal sanctuary? Yeah, out on the edge of the Mojave Desert. So this dude has worked there as a caretaker for the animals for like 20 years. I have an animal sanctuary. You do? Yeah, I'm Big Gay Al. Oh. And I've got an animal sanctuary for big gay animals that are needing places to stay.
That's nice of you. It's a really nice place. So if you're an animal out there right now and you're gay and you need a place to stay, come to Big Gay Owls Animal Sanctuary. Cool. It's nice to see you today. How are you? Wow. Who knew? My wife has never, ever seen any of that stuff on South Park. Really? That was the funniest stuff to me was Big Gay Owls, Big Gay Boat Ride, and Big Gay Animal Sanctuary. That was the best stuff to me. Yeah, so this dude was cleaning one of the tiger enclosures when a 450-pound tiger decided it wanted to jump on him and bite him in the neck. Oh, my God. They always go for the neck. Yeah, well, because they're animals. It's soft. He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, and they say he's now in stable condition and waiting to see how he reacts to the antibiotics. P1 Turtle. Hey, Mikey. I'm sorry to do this to you again, but actually I'm calling to correct you. The daughter of Kippy Hendrick is actually Melanie Griffiths. Oh, there it is. I always get the two confused. How dare you? Well, Melanie. How dare you? Yay. Which one was in Sleepless in Seattle? That's all you need to know. One of them is the poor version. One of them is a poor man's version of the other. Melanie Ryan. Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
I think it's Melanie as the poor man's version of Meg. Meg is the classy gal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Tippi Hedren did two of Hitchcock's films. He did The Birds and he did Marnie. And that scene you were describing, they actually used 60% of the birds that were in the footage were real birds and only 30% were animatronic. That's awesome. And she refused to work with Hitchcock again after that just because of the torture that he placed upon her on set. He sent her something real weird too, didn't he? Do you know that story? Yeah. Yeah, he actually, for Christmas one year, he gave her a coffin-shaped box with a doll of her inside of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he did that. He often did weird stuff with his actresses that way. Grace Kelly and the other, the German one, I can't remember her name. But he often was, he had a really dark sense of humor. I guess so. But that's why he was the great film writer that he was. Guy's a great filmmaker. It's weird that she didn't go out with me. All right, you guys have a good one. Thank you, Turtle. So if a guy sent you a coffin with a little U in it? Yeah, I'd be like, where's the ring? You're out. Ant's off. Mm-hmm. Forecasts are calling for 15-foot waves today. Brought on, bro. Yeah, dude. Yeah, so. Eagle slappers, not today. So they start moving in this afternoon. We'll see like five to seven-foot waves this afternoon, but by tomorrow morning. I'll be out there.
We'll see them up to 15 feet high. Got to go grab my wetsuit, and I'll be right out there. You're a long board, huh? That's right. So, yeah, high surf advisory. Dude, I'm a short boarder. In effect, from 1 o'clock today through 10 p.m. on Thursday. A wakeboard. Can't keep me out of the water. Lifeguards are saying, please only go out there in the waves if you have extensive experience. Did you not remember the shark story this morning? Yeah. I'm not going anywhere near the ocean. No kidding. Ever again. Ever again? 20-foot shark. Spotted in La Jolla yesterday. Screw you. 20 feet. Now, he's just saying that in general. You probably swam away by now, huh? What do you think? You don't know. You don't know. Don't risk it. Well, let's check it out. We're not even sure if it was a shark. That's all I'm saying. I won't go into it anymore. We don't know for sure. A black and white? You insinuating it was an orca? I'm not saying nothing, man. But I think we all know what's up. In Thailand, at a zoo, there was a Bengal tiger that was raising little piglets that were put in these little striped vests to look like baby tigers. And they would suckle on the teat of the tiger, of the Bengal tiger. Because the tiger thought the little pigs were little...
Yeah, I guess when the piglets got about two months old, their teeth were too sharp for their mom. So they decided to put these little striped vests on these little guys and throw them in with the Bengal tiger and see how it goes. And the Bengal tiger, like, it's so funny. You'll see this little pig, like, sleeping on top of the Bengal and nursing. Wow. That is really funny. And they're literally, like, little vests with stripes on them. Well, why didn't they just get a pig to do that? Why a tiger? Because their teeth were too sharp for the pigs. To feed. What happens in nature? I don't know. Why did the tiger eat the pigs? Because they were wearing vests. They were wearing vests. That is the weirdest thing I've ever heard. That's so cool. Makes sense, though, once you hear it. That's right. All right. 50 Cent said he was never going to work with Lindsay Lohan. He doesn't know where that came from. It came from Skye. She started the rumor. No, it came from Lindsay Lohan's dad. Yeah, right.
If I don't hear it in Missy's Rock News in the afternoon with BC and Clinton Budweiser, then it isn't true. I don't think she covers 50 Cent News. How do you know? Unless they're working with Megadeth or Metallica or something. Well, I believe 50. Well, 50 says, quote, no, I didn't do no track with Lindsay Lohan. I don't know where that... Sky, you don't have to be so... You're such a racist. I'm reading verbatim. It's totally written in good English, but she's changing it so people can understand. Would you like to read it? It's so messed up, Sky. I don't know where that rumor even started from, but whatever gets my name out there. End quote. That's not the way you read it the first time. Well, that was the first time I read it. You were all like, what up? And then I said... I don't know what you know about... You know it was written in proper English and she also... Well, no, it says it right here. Here's what it says, guys. It says, yo, blood. I ain't never been working with no... And then it says right here...
And it says, no, you didn't step off, dog. Hey, loose blood. That's right. That's no way to talk about 50 Cent. That's brutal. That is racist. I'm just reading a quote verbatim. Sorry. My bad. Ashley Tisdale got a nose job. Who's that? I don't know. Very popular with the kids. High school music. Very popular. I was just trying to sound cool. Yeah, she had a deviated septum. Oh, really? Just like the rest of the women in Hollywood. Just like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston? Yeah. Oh, this is Ashley Tisdale. She's hard. I thought it was Lindsay Lohan's record. This isn't the Spice Girls? This isn't every chick band? I'm a choreographer for a high school cheerleading squad, and we just learned this. Oh, really? Mm-hmm. One of the girls had the idea to write words on their butts, and I was like, we're not doing that. It's inappropriate. I'm getting in trouble for that. Wow. Good call. That's why you're the coach. Thank you. Will Smith refuses to criticize Tom Cruise about Scientology. That's a strange story. Sean's gone, right? Yeah. Oh. And Zed's dead. Okay, cool. Yeah. I think that's a strange story. Like, refuses. Like, he refuses.
Refuses to. I won't do it. He's really sinking his heels in on this one. I won't do it. Okay, fine. I changed my mind. He's dope. Like, refuses. Yeah, well, the way I'm understanding it is they just, you know, all the interviews he does, they just always ask him questions. Like, they're trying to get him to say something that'll be sensational and, you know, negative. But they're friends, right? Right. Why do they expect him to say something bad about his friend? Yeah, I don't know. Well, because, you know, lots of people kind of view Scientology as, you know, a little out there. You know, Will Smith had a pretty good comment that I hadn't really thought about. But he says, in my religion, I believe that a child was born of a virgin. So who am I to criticize people about fantastic beliefs? I'm with him. Right. I mean, and I believe that. I believe that. I believe that the Holy Spirit was in charge of that conception and Christ was born of a virgin. And that is supernatural. So I believe in something supernatural. Listen, I thought he made a pretty heady comment when he said that. Definitely. But more than that, he's a friend of the guy. What are you going to do? Right. He's not going to put him down. Mm-hmm. Katherine Hagel, the chick that was the star of the movie Knocked Up, is... Grace Anatomy. She's in that show?
Yeah. She's talking smack about the movie Knocked Up. And she was in it. Right. Yeah. She seems like such a... Yeah, a little stick. God, dude. She's the worst. What did she do? Well, so she did this interview with Vanity Fair that's coming out, and she goes on to say that she feels the movie Knocked Up was a bit sexist. She says it paints women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and then paints men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the character. She had a hard time with it. She said she played such a bee. Why does she have to be such a killjoy? Why is this how they're portraying women? She says it was an amazing experience, but it's hard for her to love that movie. Way to stick up for your beliefs. Way to take a stand. It's so bad, I'll be in it for $14 million. Guess what, idiot? You read the script. You were in it. No, that's not true. You didn't read the script? I didn't know what it was until the day I showed up to begin principal photography. It's a movie that made you a star, lady. What a strange thing. I think we've hit it all, guys. We're going home.
570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show. Stupid idiot. Oh, wow. He's really mad about that. Okay. There was a bank robber in Miramar yesterday. He was wearing a straw hat, mirrored glasses, and a reflective vest. So if you know anything. Rob. No. Way to blend in, guy. He just wanted to blend in with everybody else. Right. What date is I Am Legend coming out? Friday. Friday. Really? Oh, that's right. Check it. I can't see it on Friday. Saturday. Well, yeah, because you're not going back to the movie theater. Oh, I will not. I made a statement, and I'm going to reiterate it right now. Last time I went to the movies, it was an awful experience. I will never, ever go back to a movie theater until I'm legend. And then I'll go see that, and then I'll start my thing again. Bold statement. Not going anymore. Until something else is cool. Something else is good. Until There Will Be Blood, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, coming out December 23rd. Small release. Small release. Flower Hill Mall. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hello. Hello, this is Mike. How may I help you? Mikey Show. Mikey. Yes. Hey, man. Great show today. Hey, dude. I know you. You're the guy from Boston.
How about them patriots, huh? Dude, you had to be sweating it, bro. I wish I didn't see the game. I don't have ESPN. I wish I could have watched it. You don't have ESPN? What can I tell you? What, do you live in communist Russia? Come on, guy. Yeah, go to a restaurant. Mikey, I got a question for you, though. Go ahead, bro. My wife called me to tell me about the segment this morning, I Don't Like It When. Excuse me. And I was wondering if you can replay that. Why don't we podcast it, Ash? We'll podcast it. I don't have the freaking internet. What do I look like? Yeah, what do you want from me over here? What am I, Richie Rich? What is that? Thank you. Mikey Show, hello. Hello? Is anybody there? Yeah, this is P1 Princess. Hi, Princess. Cute. Hi, I was wondering, I snorkel a lot in La Jolla, and I was wondering if I could find out more about that shark that was spotted. Don't snorkel. It's called the ocean. Don't go in it. Don't do it, lady. The La Jolla Cove. yesterday around noon. 20 foot long, princess. Spotted by one kite anchor. Are you kidding? You would be an appetizer for that guy. I'll catch him and kill him for 10. That's right. I'll find him for five. I need tons of him. Good luck. I wish I had an apple. I'd redo this scene right now. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Rob. Yeah, wicked. Hey, I'm just calling to let you guys know that I Am Legends coming out on the 14th next Friday. Way to go, guys.
Thanks for bringing the roam down. Why did he do that? Man, I want to see him hunting in Times Square. Boy, that looks good. Yeah. Yeah, dude. Buy my ticket. All right. Mikey Show. Hello. Hey, Mikey. This is P.O. and Chris. What's up, Chris? I just wanted to thank Ashley for making us SDSU alumni look so stupid with her blabbering earlier. That's your parents' fault that you even have that opinion. That's me. You missed the point, guy. Yeah, you didn't even get it. Just because you disagree with me, sir, doesn't mean you're cool by calling me stupid. You are blonde. You have bad parents. Actually, I'm naturally brunette, so in your face. Eddie just washed his hands of it. Thank you. All right, guys. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. Today on the show, she's got a little all-request lunch for you. So make sure you're listening, and we will see you tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out late. Love your mouth.
