I got these little note holders for Christmas. And it's one of my favorite things in life. Really? Yeah, the note holders are really great. They're these little... Rebecca put it in my stocking. They're called page-up babies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They look like these little gel things, like little domes. And they have a little sticky thing on them. And you stick them places. And then you can stick three-by-five cards and stuff in them like that. That's cool. Yeah, I got them on my... I got them on my... Where my sink is in the bathroom. And I put little notes. It's like a stick-em thing, but if you prefer 3x5 cards, how come I can never think of what those stick-ems are called? Post-its? Dude, I have a block, a mental block with the words post-it. I always have to go, what do you call those little not-ems? Those little note sticks. Post-me. I mean, I gotta be told post-it notes. So weird. Stickies.
They really don't have any competition, do they? Don't the post-it notes, don't they kind of have a market on that? Pretty much, I would think so. I was kind of blown away. There's this, I think it's a Staples commercial or Office Depot or something like that where he only buys one thing and he puts it on the counter and it's post-its. And it full-on says post-its. Wow. And I was like, wow, what great... advertising for them right you know and then the lady tells him oh don't you know you can get blah blah blah and he comes back with this gigantic load of stuff right but the one thing he bought was post-it notes and i'm like wow that's pretty crazy is the idea of the commercial that staples is letting you know hey we're not just about no the idea is if if you buy a lot of stuff you get rewards so he's like he realizes oh i can buy more than just post-it notes then he goes back It comes back with this gigantic load of stuff. Yeah. Like, that's the funny part of it is it's just gigantic. But I just found it interesting that the one thing that he was purchasing was Post-it notes, and he put it down on the counter, and it full-on said Post-it notes on it. I was like, I wonder if they had, like, a deal with Post-it notes? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. What, what, what? Let me see. Seth just handed me a little Post-it note thing. Eddie, are you a Post-it note user? I am.
I am definitely a Post-it note user in the office, not at home. How about you, Skye? Yes, both places, home and in the office. At home, where do you stick your Post-it notes, Eddie? I don't do it at home. I do it only here at work. Oh, yeah, that's what you just said. What do you do, Skye? I do both. What do you do at home with them? depends normally i stick them to my computer yeah to remind me of something um or else but sometimes if i need to leave a note for the boo i'll like stick it wherever i forehead i have the thought i have thoughts of putting post-it notes on the computer and i always decide against it will clutter my screen i want my screen This is my motto in life. I want my screen pristine. That's my motto in life. Real fresh, real sweet. It's real sweet and real fresh. That's really good. So that's the deal. So this morning's topic, post-it notes. We'll just do this for four hours. And we'll just talk about the post-it notes.
drinking a lot more water and I need to let people know that I have to urinate more and so it's going to affect the show. It's going to affect the show. I can relate. It's going to affect the show. Yeah, it goes right through you. And so I get so angry at Ashley because she's always got to, you know. I drink a lot of water. It's all I drink. So welcome to the show. Our phone number here is 570-1053 if you want to call us about any topic at all. Lots of big things happening out there. Primaries today. New Hampshire. Sky, what is the latest that you have on that? Who's leading the Democrats and the Republicans? Who do they say is going to do good? Obama is going to kill it for the Democrats. That's what I'm hearing. I'm hearing he's so far ahead in New Hampshire. Like, forget about it. Like, double digits ahead at this point. Kill that. Mm-hmm.
And John McCain is going to take it for the Republicans, according, you know, obviously to the early polls, you know, not double digits ahead of Mitt Romney, but still a decent chunk in front of him. That Mitt is going to have to reevaluate some things if he can't win at home. He's going to have to reevaluate what he's doing wrong. Maybe too late, though. Yeah, we'll see. And I'll tell you who's I'll tell you who. thought was really a shock was Giuliani's like fifth place. Yeah, it's like not even a blip on the radar at this point in the game. He's behind Huck in New Hampshire. But you said he skipped. He's counting on the big ones. He skipped New Hampshire, right? He skipped Iowa. He skipped Iowa. He paid a little attention. Oh, did he? Yeah, he's been there. He's been talking there. They say actually Giuliani was greeting voters on their way into the polls this morning. Greepy. He was doing that. Greetings. Greetings. I will not vote for you.
Our neighbor got a mailer from him already, though. California is going to be a big deal to him. Florida is going to be a big deal. New York. Might as well just have a picture of the Twin Towers and go, yeah, I killed that. I slayed that situation. 9-11, remember? Me. Giuliani. I saved the world. The world? I had filter masks on my face, okay? I saved Nicolas Cage. Great. He was buried under a bunch of stuff. I went down there and got him. Pulled him right out. Put him on my back, dude. Pulled him out by his hair plugs, dude. Mouth to mouth. Commit, do that. Commit, put his mouth on Nicolas Cage's mouth and breathe life into him. Even though he didn't need it at the time. So, all right, quick introductions. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 37, and I'm getting up earlier. I've decided to get up earlier, so that's a new thing. I'm getting up earlier, trying to go to bed earlier as well, trying to read. So I was up real early this morning, trying to catch up on what's going on in the news and in politics, seeing some things that just...
So irritating to me, like Tom Cruise's ex-wife is pregnant, even though she released this big statement saying she wasn't pregnant. What was that, like two, three weeks ago? How lame is that? Yeah. How lame? Just don't release this. How about don't release a statement? Yeah, how about no comment? Publicist people. Yeah, I get women don't want to talk about their pregnancy too early. I get that, but yeah, don't blatantly lie. Yeah, as a publicist, if you think that that's good for your client, when we find out she is, we think that she's not that cool. Then we feel swashbuckled. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He's 34 years of age and a pretty good fisherman. What do you think about that when a guy goes fishing? When a guy goes fishing, he'll bring back fish and he'll work it. I have patience. Yeah. When it comes to fishing. Me and Eddie will sometimes go, you know, when his family goes and camps. And we'll start out together, but Eddie's willing to go deep into the wilderness following a stream. That's where the fish are. And I am willing to travel approximately 50 yards from the tent. Yeah. One of the funniest things, last time we went fishing...
Mikey would see a fish, and he would stay there all day to catch that one fish. I would tell him, if you see that fish, the fish sees you. He'll never catch that fish. I say to Eddie, I go, you got it wrong, bro. That fish is going... I have to master that fish. Talk him into it. I have to master that. I can't let the fish get me. I got to get the fish. The fish gets me every time. Then I would come back with... Tons of fish. You would get mad. I go, hey, dude. Where have you been at? Fishing. Catching fish. And he goes, you're not going to catch that fish. And I go, you watch. Before you went and got a chair. Yeah. I said, I will get you. I will get you. I don't get them. Instead of fishing, you just go watching. I go watching, yeah. It's like an aquarium. Skye is our news girl. Hi. And on special occasions, she'll throw on a little perfume. She likes to wear that stuff. What is it? Green tea. Green tea. Sweet. Why is that funny to you? A little green tea action. Smells awesome. That's right. Yeah, it does.
Awesome! New from Earl Grey. No, it's Elizabeth Arden. Let's see, Sean is our sound effects guy. Sean, give us an example of what you do. What do you want? You want the tears to come out of my eyes? That's exactly right. That's exactly right. And he lives in San Francisco, so we connect on a camera. We have to look at him. Ashley is our assistant producer, and she is 24 years of age. She's a very young gal and might be getting a dog today. She's getting back into that dog business. No, it's different. I'm getting a dog. You're not doing the same thing? Oh, you're actually getting a dog just for a pet. Correct. I thought you were doing that thing again where you teach dogs. I was going to. It's been like a 50-50, whatever comes first. It was either that I was going to raise a dog. for CCI or adopt a dog from a shelter. What's CCI? It's that show on TV. Oh yeah, where I figure out the crime. With the who song. It's a volunteer non-profit organization. That too, I guess. We know a better CCI San Diego. It's an ocean side. So you're getting a pet. Right. Or I was going to adopt a dog from a shelter but I only wanted a puggle.
I only wanted a Puggle. That's a combination of a Pug and a Bugle. You can play the dog. No, Beagle and Puggle. It's my dream dog. It's always been my dream dog ever since I knew it existed. Skye, what's your dream dog? A nice one. That's cute. I want a Pizzle. A what? What is that? It's a Poodle and a Twizzler. That doesn't exist. I want a pizzle. What? My nizzle. That's not real. So you're getting a pet. Yes. What kind of dog do you want? Dog. Do you know what you want? Or are you just going to go down? I mean, a pizzle. Oh, the pug. Pug. Pug. Puzzle. Puzzle. Okay, so you've already seen it. Your dog's a puzzle? You've already seen it. Male or female? Male or female on your puzzle? That's a good question. It's a female. It's a female. Yes. You got to get her fixed? I don't know.
I don't know that yet. I don't know that yet. I got to get her first. If you adopt it, it's going to come fixed. It's 99% right now, so I just... Is this a dog that you put in your purse? No. Well, you could. No, it's too big. They range from 15 to 35 inches off the ground, and they range between 15 and 30 pounds. Do you have a yard or anything? Yeah, I have actually... Tons of, like I've got the bay and I've got dog parks all around my house. But do you have a yard is what I asked. Do I have a yard? No, they're actually more indoor dogs because I did a lot of research. And they're kind of like lazy lap dog type dogs. You'll walk it every day. Oh, totally. I mean, you know, I get home from work early enough that I can be with it all day. And like I'm kind of a loner and I really have needed a companion. She text messaged me. Oh, that's the sweetest dog I've ever seen in my life, dude. Yeah. Zeth just sent me a picture of her, what kind of dog she wants. Oh, dude, that's a cute thing. And they're super mellow. They poop. Do you know that? Oh, yeah. Well, I'm going to train them. I'm a dog trainer. Hello. I'm going to train to do all sorts of stuff. I have a duty. Oh, that's a real sweet dog looking. Yeah. Real sweet looking. It's just going to be good for me. You know, I need it. She does. She text messaged me. She text messaged me and I tell her. She's this young, vibrant.
You know, pretty young girl. And she'll text message me these just old lady things that she does, you know. Like, it'll be, you know, she'll text message me on the weekend how she's watching some, you know, Hallmark Saturday night movie. Record them. After antiquing during the day. Boston Rob is our phone screener. And you got on a Patriots hat today, or what are you wearing? Red Sox. Red Sox hat. Red Swox. Swox, Mike. Guy loves a Red Sox. A few more months until baseball season. Very excited. Sox and the Patriots. He loves the Sox and the Patriots. And the Celtics. But I'll be honest with you. His love for his teams, it's more... Eddie, let me offer this to you. You tell me what you think about this. I think that this season for... the New England Patriots, was a little disappointing for Rob. And let me explain. I actually think that Rob is much more comfortable in a position of, oh, come on, guys, come on. Ultimately wants them to win it all. With the World Series, the Super Bowl. But he almost, at least with the Red Sox. Let's switch to the Red Sox. The stress is almost a part of, it's almost a part of what he's...
He's into that strength. I agree with you. I think it's very uncomfortable for Rob and for Boston fans in general to be frontrunners. Yeah. You know, when you are the dominant force, which the Red Sox were last year, they started to choke where I think Rob was the most comfortable in the entire season. I looked the most stressed out, but I definitely wasn't. We were enjoying it, though. And this year, with the Patriots being that they were the world beaters that they were, I don't think Rob's... as into it, which is shocking because this is one of the greatest accomplishments ever in the NFL history. And I don't think Rob's like, he's like, yeah, well, yeah, of course. He feels more a part of it when he gets to, like, you know, struggle, stress, you know, and then ultimately wants to win the whole game. Well, because we can't really talk crap about the Patriots. And I think Rob thrives on people talking junk about his teams and then pointing afterwards and going, see, I told you so. Like, we're not going to say, oh, yeah. Look at that smile. I love going to away games. I love the trash talk. I love that part of it. All right. It's garbage. And finally, Zeth. Zeth is the youngest person on the show. He's 22 years of age. And he is a tall guy. We talked about him a lot on the air yesterday and his love life. And I recommended a book to him, and he went and bought the book. So he got the book. We'll talk about it later.
570-1053 is a phone number. Call about anything you want, questions, comments, whatever you want to talk about, anything that's on your mind. P1J? Hey, guys, what's going on? Or is it just Jay? I think you have a question about what a P1 is. Yeah, I'm kind of a newer listener, and like you guys keep mentioning, it's P1, and P1s have their own website. What is a P1? Now, see, this is a good example of how I can never do this too much. A lot of people wonder, you know, well, always with the explaining. It's because I want guys like Jay to be able to know what's going on, and that's why I kind of explain it so much. A P1 is a Mikey Show listener. So whenever you hear somebody say P1, you go, okay, that's a Mikey Show guy or gal. And it stands for priority one. They are our favorite listeners. And what they do is, first of all, I can tell you you're already on the way to being a P1 because when you called, you had your radio turned down, you didn't cuss, and you got to your point. And that is a good P1. And when you do that, it's called knowing the rules. And on the note of getting to the point, I'm actually about to pull onto a base here, so I have to put my phone down. But can you guys tell me the name of that song that you played at the beginning of your show?
It's called Oh Baby Please by Buddy Guy. Oh Baby Please by Buddy Guy. Hey, guys, I love the show. Thanks for taking my call, and I'll see you guys later. Thank you, man. That's P1J, and I'm going to call him P1J because he's now a new P1. P1 Bart, are you there? Yeah, go ahead. What's up, bro? Hey, I just want to let you guys know that I was sitting in Dallas-Fort Worth for like 12 hours yesterday flying standby, but I ended up watching the Chargers game in an Irish pub, sitting there talking to a guy. He found out I was from San Diego, and he's like, oh, you listen to Mikey's show? That's rad. Yeah, I listen to Mikey's show. He listened to you guys when you were in Texas, and now he's out here as a Marine serving at Miramar. That's cool. And so he listens to you guys now, and there's a kid sitting next to him with a big Boston tattoo on his arm, and he serves at Point Loma, and he listens to you guys as well. So it was a nice little piece of San Diego in Dallas-Fort Worth. There you go. Yeah! It's back in the days when we worked at 97.1. The Eagle. Yeah. Hands cross. Hands cross. He was our midday guy. Man, I wonder if he ran into Tony Romo coming back from Cabo. Oh, maybe. In the airport there. Yeah, Tony Romo was in Cabo with Jessica Simpson. Idiot. You know, so I guess that kills that rumor that they weren't together. They were together, obviously. They were down in Cabo.
Shouldn't Tony be in the film room? Dude, if I was his teammate, I would be furious. Sure. My starting quarterback is off romping around with Jessica Simpson in Cabo when we have a playoff game in less than a week. Like, dude. So R&R isn't good before? No, no, no. Maybe a little massage to work, you know, with a little seaside. Wow, we got coaches for that. I'm telling you, it's unbelievable, that guy. That ain't right. It's going to upset a lot of people. He is so mad. Do your Kramer and Twitch imitation at the Eagle. 971, the Eagles, Kramer, Twitch. I'm telling you, that is a dead-on impression. That is a dead-on impression. Kramer, Twitch, Kramer, Twitch. Britney Spears is dead. We're not saying that. No, we're not. They said that. Yeah. Idiots. They got in a lot of trouble for it because she wasn't and they said that she was. Idiots. Is that a funny bit? Turned into a controversy. Are you kidding? Yeah. It was a big deal. That was right when we got there. Was it right when we got there? Well, yeah, kind of. Yeah, pretty much. So we were dealing with that. That and the fact that the place was broken.
Other than that, it was a great experience in Dallas. Awesome. Really great. I really miss it. P1 Harold? Hey, Mikey. How's it going? What's up, man? Hey, I was calling to talk about Ashley's pug situation. Right. Okay. I don't know if she's aware, but man, they snort like a pig when they get excited. Yeah, actually, the really cool thing about a puggle is due to the fact that it's like a half beagle. Its nasal cavity is bigger, which takes away the snorting. So it actually doesn't do... Why? Was that a big deal to people? Well, pugs have a big problem with the nasal canal, and they have problems breathing, and it makes them like... Oh, wow. And they snore all night long. Yeah, for sure. And that's why I would never want just a pug, because it's hard for them to breathe. Thank you, sir. I was misunderstood. I thought you were getting a pug. Puggle. Puggle. Puggle. Thank you. P1 Sarah. Hi, you're on the air. Hi, I was just curious about the rumor that Travis Barker from Blink-182 died in his garage from poisoning from his car fumes. Is that a rumor, Sky, or have you heard that? I have not heard anything like that. I think that that would be making news, you know what I mean? Yeah. We have checked all the news wires, and where did you hear that? I don't know, it's been like over the internet, and a couple of my friends have told me. How old are you?
16. Okay. Yeah, that may be a young person rumor. Yeah, I heard about it last week on the radio, and it turns out his wife released a statement saying that it's not true, and he's fine. Did you hear that? I didn't hear that, no. Yeah, it's hard for us to hear it, too. What? Oh, I have details, guys. The real story is basically what happened was it started... What happened? So the bottom line is Travis Parker is... What? You didn't even finish that sentence, bro. Well, there you go. There's the answer, sweetheart. Thank you, Sarah. P1 Tick, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. You're on the air. Hello. Hey, you're on the air. Yeah, just a quick question about one of yesterday's bits. You guys were talking about movies and who was miscast and everything. Right. I heard on E.T. the other day that they're going to remake Footloose, and I was just curious who you guys might think would be best in that role. Maybe Kevin Bacon. Ah.
Again. Zac Efron. Yeah, still play the role. Oh, Zac Efron, Sky says. Oh. That would be bacon. I say Nora Efron. I'm thinking maybe Josh Lucas because his performance in The Hulk was a little over the top. I say Josh Lewin. Oh. He just wants to dance. Yeah. That's true. Thank you. All right, guys. Thank you very much. Thank you. Dance, dance, revolution. Corey, you there? Yeah, what's up, Mike? What's up, bro? Nothing. I just wanted to say I missed your guys. I've been in the armpit of hell of Texas for the last eight months with the military. It's good to be back home. I just got into El Centro. It's good to hear you guys' voice. Awesome. Thank you very much. I saw Dr. Phil cleaning the radio station oven in the radio station kitchen just a few minutes ago. It needed it. It really did. He's done like his hands and knees cleaning? Basically, yeah. And he had a bucket with some soapy water and the whole deal. So hopefully he's here. For more than just cleaning the oven. He's had a busy week. He has. Yeah. So hopefully we'll be talking to him. I also want to bring up the topic today, the weirdest person you've ever dated. And just go with it. We're going to do a little Wuss Rock jukebox. I know. We're going to talk about... Oh, you know what I want to talk about next? Did you guys see Hillary Clinton yesterday talking at a coffee shop and she starts to kind of cry?
Yeah, I saw that on the news. That time of the month. Oh, no. Oh, no. I knew it was coming. That's what we're going to have to deal with, Mike. We've got to talk about it. Larry the Cable Guy in the stand-up spotlight. The Mikey Show stand-up spotlight. 105.3. My brother just celebrated his second wedding anniversary, and they were going to celebrate. He wanted to have sex. she wanted to go to outback and my grandma wanted to go to church and have them rededicate the wedding vows so they all compromised and they had sex out back at the church i was going to get married one time you know it's hard finding the right person i was living with a girl for about eight months until she found out i was there But there was another girl that I was in love with, and we was going to get married, but she wasn't going to take my name, so I broke that relationship off because I'm a traditionalist. I think they ought to take the name. Plus, I thought it would be cool if both of us named Larry. Podcasts of The Mikey Show at Rock 105. Now back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I really do think of the hurricanes... as sort of celebrities. Eddie. I have a very strong sensitivity to smells. Sky. I don't like stinky. Sean. Headshot Boys are one of my favorite things. Boston Rob. I was like a shaken puppy. That's a very common terminology. You guys don't use that? Maybe it's an East Coast thing. And Ashley. I'm old. Shows on. Rock 105.3. Sounds like they're doing this thing like a... Like with some sort of sound effect, like affecting the voice. It sounds like the microphone's all tripped out. All right, welcome back. It's 6.33. The Dr. Phil Britney Spears special has been canceled after all of Britney's family members refused to participate. Roger Clemens holds a press conference yesterday, plays a secret tape conversation with Brian McNamee at it. Catch me counting.
I want to get into that in just a little bit. But I want to talk about this Hillary Clinton thing because I don't know if you saw this, but Hillary Clinton was sitting in a coffee shop yesterday doing a roundtable discussion. And while she was doing this discussion, somebody asked her a question. And the question got her to become a little bit emotional. Cut to it. It's not easy. It's not easy. And I couldn't do it if I just didn't, you know, passionately believe it was the right thing to do. You know, I have so many opportunities from this country. I just don't want to see us fall backwards. So, you know, this is very personal for me. It's not just political. It's not just public. I see what's happening. And we have to reverse it. And some people think elections are a game. They think it's like who's up or who's down. It's about our country. It's about our kids' futures. And it's really about all of us together. You know, some of us put ourselves out there and do this against some pretty difficult odds. And we do it, each one of us, because we care about our country. All right, so check this out. So one time I was on the air and I was talking about...
how it had been, it was like a two-year anniversary of some really weird thing happening in my life. And I was driving into work and I was thinking about all these changes that Christ had made in my life. And while I was talking about it, I broke down and I started crying. And I even talked about before I got into it, I was like, ah, maybe I shouldn't do this. And you guys were like, no, it's all right. And I did. And as I started getting into it and I started to become overwhelmed with the emotion of all these changes that God made in my life, I started crying, right? I would not make a good president. I would not make a good president. And the reason that I wouldn't is because I'm too emotional. I get it from my mother. And it really bothers me. It really bums me out that I had to get that. My mom cries at everything. And I don't cry at everything. But I do find myself when I'm speaking about things that I'm very emotional about. Or that fill me up with passion or whatever. That I can get emotional. And I can break down. But I wouldn't make a good president. And the reason is because.
I think that the president needs to be a little bit more not so in touch with their emotions. I'm very in touch with my emotions, and I'm pretty open about them. And that's taken a while to get to that point, but I don't know that that's really a presidential, what do you call it? Quality. Quality. I don't know that it's necessarily a presidential quality. I think a president can think and be very and think about things and be very maybe an emotional person. But personally, I'm like, I think we need somebody that is not going to do what I did on the air. I mean, what is going to happen? We're going to get bombed by Pakistan and the president of the United States is going to be passionately talking about it and break down. It can't do that. Well, you know. When you're the president of the United States of America, that is the most powerful position in the world, in the entire world it is. And you have to display strength for the American people. We all could be crying at 9-11 or tragedy, Hurricane Katrina, whatever. As a nation, we could be crying. But when you look at the president, you must feel like, oh, that guy's got our back.
He is strong or she. Thank you. That person is in control of their emotions, of everything, of everything. And that's the deal. When I was on the air and I was talking about Christ in my life, I had no control over that emotion. It was coming out of me like a geyser. I remember it was October 6th of 06 that that conversation took place. I remember the date because it was significant in my life. And that is not a very presidential. Hey, listen, I make a fine talk show host, but I shouldn't be running the country. I got opinions on how the country should be run. But in my opinion, I think you need somebody in there that's got a little bit more command over their mind. If I saw John McCain start, I'd be like, dude. That guy had cigarettes put out in his eyes. Pretty much. He's been through hell and back. And if you ask him about it, he's not going to start bawling. That guy is strong. And a lot of these guys are real strong. And to me, I have two emotions when I hear that. One, I think to myself, well, I wonder if the people who are running Hillary's campaign said, you need to be a little bit more human.
That's the thing that's missing from Hillary's campaign is that she has not been human. You need to show some emotion and you need to show people that you care. Now, to speak to that, my thought was, okay, because as I was driving in this morning, I was hearing political talk shows where people were saying, hey, Hillary should be nominated for an Academy Award. And this is what I think about that. If you believe that. If you believe that, then basically what you're saying is that Hillary's people said, find the opportunity to do this. The next time you have an opportunity, get emotional. Go with it. Cry. Okay, if you believe that. Personally, when I was watching it, I didn't necessarily get that vibe. I got the vibe that she was genuinely overcome with emotion about what she was talking about. The reason that I believe that she's crying, what motivates the tears is what I really don't like. That's where I have an issue. And this is what I'm saying. The reason that Hillary got as emotional as she did is because she's in third place right now. And this woman is asking her, is this taking a toll on you? If she were leading in New Hampshire and about to kill it in New Hampshire.
And they said, how are you feeling right now? Has this process been taking its toll? I don't think you see any tears. She's winning, and she's confident, and she's like, toll. Yeah, it takes your toll. It gets pretty rough out here, but let me tell you what. We're hard, hard, hard, hard. The tears come from third place. The tears come from losing. The tears come from not leading. And that, when you're talking about President of the United States, Hey, we're going to get down. We're going to be in worse than third place at some point. You don't cry about it. You've got to rally and be strong. There's no crying in politics. Now, here's another school of thought. I want to hear you ladies. 5701053. And I want to hear you ladies, Ashley and Sky. I want to hear what you guys think here in a second. There's another school of thought. Was it manipulation? Was it women doing what women know how to do? Garner sympathy through tears.
Was it that? Was it that time of the month? It's not easy. It's not easy. Stop it. Was it that time of the month and her hormones are raging? Is it presidential? How about this? How about, you know what? I think it makes her more human. That makes her more like me, meaning the American people. That makes her more like me. She's a regular person. I think that that's great. I think it's good to show a little bit of emotion. See, for me, any of those things, any and all of those things are bad. Like, I don't like any of those stuff. And number one, and with your last point, I don't want the president to be just like me. Neither do I. I want him to be better than me. Yes. So that's my thing. That's an issue that I had with Clinton. With the Monica Lewinsky thing. I want the president to be... Stronger. Stronger.
5701053. What do you think about Hillary crying yesterday in the coffee shop? So, Skye, what do you think? Well, first of all, I'd like to say I don't think she was crying. She was choked up to me, which, you know, is kind of in the way you represent it. It's a little different. She was choked up. She did not cry. And that is an important point. She never did cry. What she did was she was speaking impassioned and she got choked up. like she was on the verge of tears but she didn't cry right um and i mean i agree with most of what you guys are saying i don't like it i i do think there are times when it's okay for a president to show emotion but these need like you know her husband needs to die or you know something like that well no that's what i mean for me because i you know well to publicly show emotion i was trying to think for me when would it be acceptable to see hillary cry in public and for me it would be you know a family member you know something very uh personal and tragic like that i think i could see any president man or woman i could see any president tearing up if his spouse or family that has nothing to do with the country or what we're dealing and that's that's a great way to clarify like what
i was trying to say yeah like if it's in in regards to politics our country policy no no tears allowed i'm sorry you know and and my interpretation of what i saw yesterday with hillary getting emotional is exhaustion and i don't like that you know i don't care that you're exhausted you know in my interpretation of it um suck it up you know this this is what you're going for this is what you committed to suck it up i'm a little i have to say i'm I'm a little surprised because my wife had your opinion. And I thought immediately what I was going to get from my wife and from Skye was defending her and, you know, hey, she's a human being, blah, blah, blah. Ashley, what do you think? Wow. Hearing about it, I didn't think that I would be against it. I thought that it would probably be something that would be okay. But I hadn't heard the clip. And once I heard the clip, I got this uncomfortable feeling in my stomach, like not feeling safe.
I don't know. That's good. And for some reason, her crying made me panic. Like I was like, why are you, you know, crying? Then should I be worried? And that's the feeling I got. So that's the feeling that I think that most people would get. And I agree with Eddie because you want to kind of look up to the president of the United States and not be feeling nervous because the person's getting emotional. P1 Dawn says that genetically women can't control the tears. Dawn, are you there? Yep. Okay, so go ahead. You know, I'm not defending her and I'm not putting her down, but I swear to God, as you get older as a woman, there's things like when you see the commercials on TV of kids starving, you just can't control yourself. And when I get an argument with my husband, the tears just start rolling and then he just buckles. But now, wait a minute. Now, Dawn, are you sure that that's not Dawn and that every woman is, you know, kind of different, you know, or you're saying that... You know what, I honestly think it's every woman because for the most part... A lot of people tell me that I'm a strong person. But, you know, when enough is enough, your body just kind of, your head just breaks down. And I think that was part of it. I think part of it, too, with her was kind of, you know, trying to show her human side and stuff, which in one aspect is good. But you know what? What Ashley just said, I really agree with her. You want somebody that's going to be up there that has your back as a country, not that's just going to cry because they don't like what's going on. Now, if that's true.
If that's true what you just said, Dawn, then you exclude women from the presidency. I don't think our country is ready for a woman president. Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. Pause, pause, pause. If what you're saying is true, if what you're saying is true and that all women cannot control it because it's a part of their makeup, will we ever be ready for a woman president if, according to you, that's what women do? Will we ever be ready? You know what? Honestly, I mean, I'm in my mid-30s. I don't know if I'll ever see a woman in my lifetime as a president. Now, see, I think back to Margaret Thatcher, who was the prime minister of England. And, you know, she didn't have a hard time. She got that country going, all right? Yeah, I totally disagree with what Don's saying. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. It's hard to say. I honestly don't. I think we're going to see... I don't know. I mean, I'm not, like, really...
I'm political, but I don't want to spew it, but I think our country will pick Barack Obama before they will Hillary. And if he takes the whole primary, he's going to probably take McCain with them, where if Hillary were to get it, she would take Barack with her. Well, she would try, maybe. She may try. I think he would. I think he would do it, but I don't think he'll take her. So now we're asking, are we ready for not just a female president, a female president and a black vice president? Or a black president and a female vice president? Well, you know what everybody's going to think? If Hillary takes it that she were to take Brock as vice, everybody knows in the back of their head that Bill is still in the White House with her. So she's got two men to back her up. Thank you. If Brock takes it... Makes you feel good as a lady, huh? That's right. Yeah, not so much. Hey, Dawn, listen, I've got to move on, but thank you for the call. No, thank you. Hey, Brad, what did you want to say? Yeah, it's an interesting catch-22 for Hillary because... Because being a woman, you want to see, you know, that she has compassion and she has emotion. But at the same time, you don't want to think that, you know, this lady, you know, she can't wrap it up. You know, she can't keep it under control. So it's kind of, I agree with Dawn in a different way. Not that women can't control their emotions. That's definitely not true. Perfect example, like you said, Margaret Thatcher.
America, I think America isn't ready for a woman president because they can't make that distinction. If they show emotion, then they're weak. That's a catch-22. I think you said it perfectly. Hey, what do you think, Bill Clinton? Bill Clinton was on the NBC Today show yesterday. What do you think about Hillary and what people think of her? Cut three. We can't be a new story. I'm sorry. There's nothing we can do. I can't make her younger, taller, male. There's lots of things I can't do. But if you want a president and you need one, she would be by far the best. I can't make her me as much as I'd like to. Wish you could. As much as America wants that. I heard somebody say something really interesting yesterday. I heard somebody say that Bill Clinton is probably...
hoping and praying that she doesn't become president. I was just thinking that. Hearing him talk right there, I was thinking to myself, he doesn't want her to be president. You know why? He doesn't want anything to soil that legacy. No. That legacy is intact and it's good. The legacy, he's considered one of the... I think that in many years, when Jake's older, you're going to hear Democrats debating each other and saying, You're not a Bill Clinton Democrat. Yeah. You're going to hear people debating and saying, you know, I want to be a Democrat for America like Bill Clinton was. Just like right now, you hear everybody arguing, are you Reagan enough? Right. Reagan's the bar. How Reagan are you? And if somebody gets accused of not being like Reagan, it's like cussing at them. Yeah. It's like you called them the worst name in the world. And they have to defend themselves. Yes, no, I'm like Reagan. I'm like Reagan. I do Reagan stuff. I have, like, Reagan underwear on right now. And I got, like, a big Reagan poster. Like, look at my iPhone. I got pictures on my iPhone of my house where I've got Reagan posters. You used to act in Westerns. Yeah, I'm really into his movies. Like, I love Reagan. And so he doesn't want any of that jacked up. If she went into the White House and messed it all up, people would go, those Clintons. Yeah, it would change the way history is viewed. Don't say that. Yeah. For sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
570-1053, what do you think? It's Mikey. On the rock. Sweet shirt, bro. In-N-Out burger, huh? Uh, yeah. Where'd you get it? Burger. Right. Yeah. It's pretty sweet. Yeah, yeah, you already said that. Oh, yeah. I love In-N-Out. Oh, me too. That's what a hamburger's all about. Yep. Totally. Do I know you? Me? Have we, you know. No. No, you don't. No, no, no. I saw your shirt and it's like we have something in common. Like we're on the same page. We get it. We appreciate the finer things in life. Like cheeseburgers. Yes. And t-shirts. Yeah. And personal space. Yeah. Wait, what? You're kind of crowding me here, bro. Oh, I'm sorry. You know, the burgers, they just get me a little... Oh, yeah, yeah. That's all. Okay, back off just a little bit. Okay.

So, speaking of Hillary, she's given a speech yesterday. Did you hear about the guy that yelled something inappropriate out while she was... Oh, Sky. Oh, no, Sky. Not funny. Cut one. Some people think you bring about change by demanding it, and some keep change. I heard she didn't iron it. She probably should have. What a jerk. Horrible jerk. A dummy yelling out that iron my shirt.
P1 Frank, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. You're on the air. Yeah, you're on the air, bro. What's going on? I was commenting about Hillary breaking down. I didn't see it, but I remind you, I'm a pretty hardcore Republican. My family's pretty blind. They're, you know, hardcore 40s, you know, and up Democrats. So they're like, since the 60s, you know, 40s, 60s, whatever the era is. That's all they do. Me being military and my brother and I, we're both in the Marine Corps and we, you know, so we support pretty much Republicans. the agenda for the military has always been strong that way. Even though I'm such a hardcore Republican, and I go to say as far as almost hating her campaign that strongly against her, I do have compassion for her breaking down. From the things I've seen and things I've done in the military, I kind of got to. And she's a human being too, even though she's going to be the president. Now, I'm a little bit confused, Frank. Now, you have compassion for her in that clip as a person. And now, I just want to understand, what is it that you're having compassion for her about? You know, it wasn't Hillary Clinton. It could be an act. But take that out of context. I think she's genuine, even though I don't want her to be the president as a person. I understand. I understand. But what is it that you have compassion in that clip? What do you have compassion for her about?
No, mind you, I didn't see the clip. I'm commenting if I were to see the clip. Just her breaking down, you know, it seems too genuine and legitimate what she feels for the country, even though I really don't want her to be president. Okay, Skye. I think what he's trying to say, and I think all of us would agree, when a person breaks down, you feel bad for them. You know, that sucks that you're emotional, and I think we all agree on that, what we're talking about. See, I disagree. I have to disagree with that. I think that if somebody breaks down and they're crying about something that you would have compassion for, then I think that you... Well, she's beat down. She's in third place. She's exhausted. But that's not why she's crying. That's what I analyzed it to be. But what she says she's crying about is for the working class and for the things in the country that need to be broken. But the question was, how do you keep up? How do you keep going? How do you keep going? And she starts to talk about... it's the country that keeps me going. This is a very personal thing. And so what you're supposed to get the feeling of is, wow, she really cares for the country, which that's not something that you necessarily have compassion for. That's something that you go, go Hillary, go Hillary. That is awesome. You care for the country so much.
Good for you. Go for it. Whereas compassion for crying would be, my husband died. I'm very upset. I'm crying. You have compassion for her. Wow, you lost someone. This is more of a, these tears are more of a, let me get behind you. I don't think that tears are necessarily always, I feel sorry for you. For instance, the day that I talked about my faith. And I welled up and I started crying. That wasn't necessarily like, wow, I feel sorry for you, Mikey. It's like, wow, that's cool, man. Good for you. You're on fire for God. That's what I mean. That's what I think. I don't know it was necessarily. Maybe compassion is the wrong word, but basically what I was trying to say is what I think this guy was talking about is talking about Hillary, the person. And what we're talking about here is Hillary, a potential president of our country. Yeah. You know, and so that's what we're focusing on. And he was talking about her just as a person in general. And that's really not the topic at hand. It's about, hey, do we want this person to be our future president? I got a question because this may be an interesting question. Do those tears that she cried have anything to do with her as a person? Like, what do they tell us about her as a person? Because there's two sides to it. One person will tell you, tells us she has a lot of compassion for the country. One person would say that.
Other person would say, it tells me she's a great actress. Tells me she's insincere. Tells me she was using tears as a weapon or as a tool. So there's two different schools of thought on what you think about those tears. Oh, well, wait a minute. What the heck? What the heck do you mean? I do, by the way, think it was inappropriate for Bill Clinton to say the thing about ironing the shirt. I think it was wrong. As a husband, you should support. You should support. You should support it. The Wuss Rock Tootbox is guys calling in to sing wussy songs. 5701053, how well do you know wuss rock songs? Call us, I'll play a clip of a wuss rock song, and I'll abruptly stop the clip, and then you just take over singing. Yes. We only have a couple of rules. If you don't know the lyrics to the song, then make something up.
That's all there is to it. It really is the point of the game. If you don't know the lyrics to the song, which you should, because you're either going to win by knowing the lyrics and singing them spot on or being very creative and coming up with your own lyrics and making us laugh and playing into the stereotype that you are a wuss rocker. The other rule is don't say, I can't hear anything. That's the worst. You know, don't do, don't sing I Don't Know the Words to this song. That's not creative. It's not creative in any way. So we will hear you sing, and then we will turn it over to the judges, Eddie, Sky, and Sean, to rate you as a wuss rocker. So 570-1053. Eddie, what is the prize? We got another spot in the big Harrah's Ring Con Poker Tournament. What up? Sky's going to be playing in it tomorrow, and you can join us. Tomorrow, Sky is playing in a poker tournament. Yeah, out at Harrah's. Come on. That should be great. It's going to be fun. Sky, are you going to enjoy any of the dining at that place? They've got some pretty good restaurants in there. Oh, yes. They have awesome restaurants at Harrah's. Yeah, I hope to before I go. Really? We'll see. Which place will you be dining at? Are you willing to say here on the air or no? Well, what, it's Wednesday?
Well, I like Fiore, but, you know, normally we save that for a special occasion. It's a really nice steakhouse. And then they have this place. I always call it the wrong name. It's like the Coconut Cabana or something. I always call it the wrong name. Will you be dining alone? And they have really good coconut shrimp and tropical cocktails, which I enjoy. And the jury's still out on whether Mr. Sky will attend. All right. Oh, my. I see. Well, let's see. P1 Shipwreck, are you there? Yep, I'm here, man. Are you ready to play What's Rock Jukebox? About as ready as I can be. All right, dude, here's your song. Hit it. Wait, can you replay that clip? I'm going to give you a chance. I'm going to give you a chance. I'm going to replay it for you. Wow, that's nice of you. Really sorry I did that. Really sorry I did that. I'm sorry, too. I know the song, too. I know it's Hungry Like a Wolf, but... Well, no, it's not. No, it's not. It's not Hungry Like a Wolf. It's a reflex. It's a reflex. All right, so you don't want to do what Shipwreck did. Eddie, what do you think? Well, I mean, it was clearly like we sat down to watch Anderson Cooper and we watched it for the news. Oh, that's, you know, not gay at all, right? Sky. Terrible. It's a huge disappointment. I always hate starting the night out like this. Good morning. 7 o'clock in the morning. We're taped to late for the West Coast. Eight hours. And so it was a huge disappointment. Sean.
I hope you get colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, eight spots, and oversized hands. And with that being said, P1 Bernie, are you there? Yes, I am. Are you ready to play a little Wuss Rock jukebox? Yes, I am. Come on, Bernie. All right, when the clip stops, you start. Here we go. Of course, Mike. I mean, me and Bernie were in the lake practicing the lift. He had the spaghetti arms. He had spaghetti arms for a little bit. I told him about it. What is that, the lift? What is that? What do you mean? At the end of the dance, you've got to go for the lift. Okay, so you're saying you're on a frozen lake and you're skiing? Mike doesn't get it. Have you never seen Dirty Dancing? Are you skiing on a frozen lake? I'm embarrassed for you. You're obviously not gay. Bernie is. Guy.
Well, of course, you know, we're at Kellerman's. Nobody puts Bernie in the corner. Nope. Duh. I mean, that even needs to be said. And I just snuck out of my little bungalow. My dad's asleep. And I'm tiptoeing over to Bernie's in the middle of the night. Open the door. He's in there with another dude. Oh, wow. So, congratulations. Were you carrying watermelons? Well, yeah. I mean, I was more like kind of almost juggling them. Just wrapping up my note to myself to make sure to watch Dirty Dancing this weekend. And Sean. You know, it's obvious to me your favorite Starbucks drink. Oh, no. Yeah, Bernie was talking when Sean was talking. That's bad. That is bad. Never talk over a judge. Never put baby in the judge. Totally. Never put judge in the corner. Hey, I just want to say that I just came out of the closet today, you guys. Thank you. Bernie, please. Just shut up and take your prize. P1 Chewbacca is on the line. Are you there, Chewbacca?
Already a winner. All right, Chewbacca. Here's your song. I do like the touch of... Yeah. Eddie? Listen. Me and Chewie spent a lot of time in the cockpit together. No, Eddie, you can't... I may have misread a Wookiee's signals, and I make my move, and I get my arms ripped out of their sockets. So I'm going to have to say no. Chewie's obviously not gay. I thought he was. Sky. Yeah, you know, I was hanging out, and Chewie was getting ready for a big fight, and then he had... A big fight? Yeah, he was going to fight Vader. This didn't make the movie. And then he pulls out... Why would he fight Vader? He pulls out his lightsaber.
Han, why would he... Well, because Han told him to go get Vader. Han would never say that to his friend. He would never say that to his friend. It's like a death sentence. You guys, there's a lot of backstory here. There's a lot of backstory that you guys don't know about. Sorry, I called you out. There were some nights where Lucas was drunk and he did some writing. Thank you, thank you. So Chewy pulls out his saber. He has a saber. No, he doesn't get his saber. He has a crossbow. He found it. He found it. He found it. Eddie is standing up. Eddie is standing up. He found one. He found one. He found one. And the point is... It's not a Jedi Knight. The point is, he has a saber and he pulls it out and I think it's going to be a pink one. Turns out it's blue. R2, what do you think about this? Maybe we get R2D2 to comment on what R2D2 thinks. Why won't Eddie look at me? He's looking out the window. And finally, Sean, what did you think of the performance of Sunglasses at Night by... I think this guy's a total idiot, Mike. Oh, no. Not as bad as Sky. America wants a female president. Give me a break. Whoa.
I agree. Finally, P1 Siegfried is on the line. P1 Siegfried. Oh, shoo-in. Sucks. Are you there, Siegfried? Oh, there's a growl. Oh, you've already won. All right, you ready for your clip? I'm ready. Here we go. All right, Eddie. One of the caveats this game is if you can make us laugh, you're a winner. I giggled at that. I thought it was a little funny. I mean, I pictured myself being totally body painted like a tiger and jumping on Siegfried and kind of nibbling at his neck. So I'm going to give him a thumbs up. I don't want to say he's a winner. Okay. Boston Rob was looking at you adoringly there. I think it's because you're still watching Gladiator. Sky, what'd you think?
Yeah, any guy who can work the word wine coolies into a song gets my vote. Clearly. Sean. I just hope that when that tiger bit your face off, he bit you with a mouthful of AIDS. Oh, my God. Oh, my. Wow. Oh, my God. And the award for most shocking comment of the morning. All right, ladies and gentlemen. I wonder who's going to win. I hope it's my safer pocket. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm crossing now. And ladies, it is. It's Sean and the AIDS bite. Of course it is. Weird. Of course it is. There we go. What are you, Zef? Thank you very much. Siegfried, hang on the line. No problem. Make a note to write Mike Huckabee and have him work Wine Cooley into his next speech. Axe you guys a question. Because today's the primaries in New Hampshire. If you guys on the show, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, Boston Rob, Zeth. Exclude Zeth. Zeth doesn't talk. Zeth, you can have an opinion on this and tell me. Off the air. Tell me off the air.
Write me an email. Write me an email. Oh, no. Type him a letter. That's all. Poor guy. Well, the only reason I'm not including Zeth in this is because it takes long enough with six people doing this. Unnecessary. But with mumbles over there. That's true. And I'm going to exclude myself. And the reason I'm going to exclude myself is I want to know, like, let's say that my term as Mikey is up. So you are basically, you guys are going to campaign to be the new Mikey. Okay? You have to have a platform. You have to have a slogan. Let's take a break. And when we come back, can you guys come up with a platform to run on? And then we'll do a vote. We'll let people vote who is going to be Mikey for five minutes. I just thought of this and I hope it doesn't go wrong because I just thought of it. And sometimes when I just think of things and I throw them out there, sometimes they don't go so well. Let's try this. Let's take a break. Come back and have each of you campaign. Nice. Eddie, tell me this will work. I think it should work. Okay. A lot of times I'll come up with something that Eddie will say during the break. Maybe we should have talked about that before we went into it. I already got one. Ashley's already got one. Oh, yeah. You're going to campaign to be Mikey for five minutes on the show this hour. This hour. This hour. Oh, I love it. Let's do this. Okay, let's take a break. Come back, and I want to hear your guys. I want to hear you campaign. Okay. And not only that, I want you to pick who your running mate will be. Oh.
Oh, wow. Your Ronnie May has no choice in it, the matter. And Eddie and I will now proceed in discussing this bit and whether or not it will work. And we'll do it next. You evolve. Remember those last workouts when you were feeling so strong and healthy and energized? It was great. I worked out all through the summer to get ready for my wedding, and it worked. I dropped like 20 pounds. It was awesome. You were looking good. Thank you, young lady. Hey. Enough. Enough. Enough. I appreciate that. You guys are creepy. Frogs fitness. Yeah. But then I let myself go. I put it all back on. I don't think it mattered to Sky. Well, yeah. I don't think it mattered. She loves me for me. Dude.
Yeah, for the person on the inside. Yeah, the inside. It doesn't matter. But I want you to be healthy so you can live a long life to like 90 or 100. You are still hot to me. You know. Like you blew a gonorrhea from me. Ugh, gross. Mikey, Mikey.
The Mikey Show continues. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. It is 722. Just weeks after her people said it was not true, Nicole Kidman has announced that she is pregnant. I have breaking news in the sports world. Joe Gibbs resigns as head coach of the Washington Redskins. Says he will remain with the club as an advisor. Wow. Yeah. Who's to say? Eddie was running around this place like a madman during the break. Sean is getting a website thing set up. You got the web thing? Yeah. Okay. Check this out. I think we need to pat ourselves on the back for this one. This is crazy. As soon as you said it, I got immediate thoughts. And so I hope this works, but this is going to be crazy.
Go to MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Go to MikeyShow.com. And you're going to see something that says New on the Show. When you first sign on, you're going to see a big picture that says Furry Up. But right underneath that, you see these three categories. Sky's News, New on the Show, and Winter Plugs All. You see those three things. Well, under New on the Show, click on Vote. for Mikey Show president. We put it up real quick. You see these pictures? Yeah. Does one person look extra creepy? If you're talking about Sean... Whoa. I guess I see what you're saying. That's my campaign photo. I see. I would rethink that. I'm going to vote for that guy. Yeah. No question. Okay. If you're just tuning in, this is what we're going to do. The primaries are... tonight in New Hampshire. Do we have any? Do we have any of that? I think I might. You're already voting. What? Already? Hey, wait a second. Oh, yes. Am I leaving? That's not fair. The only reason you know that is because you voted for yourself. You voted for yourself? I'm voting for Eddie. I'm voting for Eddie right now. Well, you don't need to because he already has 80% of the vote. We haven't even said that.
Mine says he's got 52% of the vote. Because Skye voted for herself. Oh, that's because we ruined everything. Stop voting, everybody. Relax. I want to vote again. Stop voting. Hey, Sean, does it only let you vote once? No, you can vote multiple times. Just hit refresh. The back button? Can you go to the refresh? Either way. Refresh. Oh, I'm trailing. All right, now listen. Go to MikeyShow.com. And what we're going to do is we're going to let everybody campaign, and then you can vote for whoever you want to take over the show for five minutes. So I'm going to be retiring or whatever, resigning. You're stepping down. I'm stepping down. Your term has ended. My term has ended. It's a five-minute vote. So somebody will take over for five minutes, and they'll get to do their thing. Okay? So you need to go to MikeyShow.com to vote. Let us all do our thing before you vote. Yes. Because you may change your mind in the course of the campaign. That's right. You don't know where we stand. Like right now, you might think to yourself, hey, I want to vote for Ashley to be the new Mikey Show. Mikey. But hear everybody out. Maybe you will be swayed by Eddie or by Boston Rob or Sean. Okay, so MikeyShow.com is where you're going to vote.
Eddie, as soon as I said the thing and we went into commercials, he goes, I got this thing, but I got to go in with Flounder and change something. What is it? Well, it's... Well, are we beginning? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You got to explain what this is. Okay. Because I don't even know what it is. Well, it's something that we've been working on. We were going to do later. Yeah. Like not anytime soon, but we have already had the pieces in place. For what? We were going to do these like... political campaign ads about the show yeah i know yeah you know remember we were talking about that well i've been working on it with flounder for a while yeah and so immediately i thought well this may work for this and i had him change a couple of things during the break and i think it will fit now but this is basically my campaign ad for presidency eddie is the p1's choice to be president of the mikey show and has a positive vision for the future sky Doesn't. I'm a skeptic, so... Skye is an admitted drug addict. I smoked so much pot. A lifelong drug addict. I was growing weed when I was five years old. And hamaholic. I have my urine and my spam. And Skye has no foreign policy. Omid, um, Popal. Skye even hangs out at dirty sex establishments. I don't think it was a bathhouse. It wasn't called a bathhouse. It was, like, called something jacuzzi. I don't know. Skye, beholden to the ham lobby. Eddie, beholden to the P1. Oh!
I'm Eddie, and I want to be president of the Mikey Show. Oh, my God. And I approve this message. Oh, come on. That is so rad. That is not allowed. You didn't say that was allowed, Mikey. Hold on. Get some rules straight, Mikey. This is a cluster. Excuse me. This is a cluster. This was intended for something else. He made a couple of changes. Of course it's got to be allowed. We're campaigning here, people. This is Oracle 08. What? mean this right. You got to set some ground rules. This is a big deal. Here is my campaign. A vote for me is a vote against Sky. There you go. I am running on the down with Sky ticket. If I am voted president, I will remove Sky from the broadcast for those five minutes. I will only play Sky bashing songs for that entire break.
I've served as VP for the past 15 years to Mikey. I think I am ready to do this. I have a question. Please. If you win the Mikey to see, who will be your running mate? My running mate will be the person who I think best... handles my ticket, which is, you know, vote for me is a vote against Sky. I'm not involved. I can't be involved. It's the person that thinks that Sky bashing is the funniest, Boston Rob. So the two of us will bash Sky for the entire break. There it is, folks. This is stupid. I say well done. Thank you very much. I don't want to play anymore. All right, Sky, do you have your political ad ready? Well, no. No one has a political ad. What do you mean no one? I had a political ad. Talk about not putting any work into it. Well, you came up with an idea like five minutes ago and Eddie just happened to have something already in the works. Well, Sky, I think what it showed was a little ingenuity and that's what I think a lot of people are looking for when they're looking for their future. Flounder, I like a special nod to my secretary of production.
Very well done. Flounder who amazingly takes that for me. Very well done. Thank you. Sky, go ahead. Go for it. What is your campaign slogan? Well, first I'd like to start off by saying, unlike my opponent, I plan on running a positive campaign, not a negative attack campaign. I'm all about mudslinging. This isn't your time. You've had your time. I plan on running a positive campaign, and my slogan is, a vote for Sky is a vote for Mother Earth. All right. All right. If I were voted as president of the Mikey show, I would take my time and devote it to a serious discussion about global warming and about small things we can do every day in our lives without inconveniencing ourselves.
to embrace and love Mother Earth and to restore her to her pristine state. Okay, so what you're saying, Skye, so what you're saying, I just want to clarify. Yes. I'm like the Charles Gibson here. Okay. She is the Dennis Kucinich of this campaign. I accept that. You have no chance. Okay. You might as well drop out. No one's talking to you, jerk. So, Skye, I just want to clarify that if you win the Micetacy, If you win the Mikey to see and you become the Mikey for five minutes on the show, what you're saying is that you will talk about global warming. Well, I will be giving tips to San Diego of small things they can do around their home that will not inconvenience them that will benefit this planet. Yes. All right. Now, if that sounds good to you, P1s. Oh, and I'll also legalize marijuana. Okay. All right, so P1s, if that sounds good to you and you would like to hear that and have that done in the next five minutes that she gets to be the new Mikey, go to MikeyShow.com. And yeah, who's your running mate, Sky?
Well, this was a very tough choice for me. That's a slap in the face to Ashley just to hear that. Between Sean and Ashley, I decided to go with Ashley. I see. Wow. Hey, congratulations. She shares my passion for the cause. There you go. Oh, happy to be a part of that. Of course. Go green. Too bad she had to really struggle over whether it was going to be you or Sean. Well, they both share the passion, but Sean's a little, you know. Smarter. Wow. Wow. Is that what you're trying to say? I think so. No, I was going opposite. Dumber? Well, no, you would take it more seriously. Sean would make a mockery of my presidency. Wow, look at that. Ashley and Skye. Then why would you even consider him? Well, because he does believe in the cause, but he is also part of the Boys Club lobbyist group. Sounds like they work well together already. And I thought she was going to keep a positive campaign and not mudsling. She's completely mudslinging. I am not. Sean is part of the lobbyist. Sounds like Mike Huckabee saying, I'm not going to say anything bad, but here's my bad commercial. Sean, you're up next. Thank you, Mike. I will be running.
Can I talk, please? Go ahead. Sean, what's your campaign slogan first? My campaign slogan will be exfoliate in 08, Mike. And I will be running on the antibacterial ticket. I see, yes. During my stint, if I am elected, I will absolutely force B-Rob to bathe routinely. I will force Guy to shower not only at night, but also in the morning and wash her hair every single time. I like it. Ashley will have to wear crutches with mops mounted on top to absorb all of her pit sweat. And Eddie will be promoted to news and sports so that we could force Sky out. Rude! Now, what sorts of things will you talk about on the air during your five minutes? Mike, we'll be talking about a variety of topics, including how to bathe properly, how to wash properly, and how to exfoliate properly. I see.
I see. There it is. That is the campaign that Sean is running on. It is the Exfoliate in 08 campaign. Next up, Ashley. Ashley, what is your... Did he choose his running mate, by the way? Sean, who will your running mate be? My running mate will be Eddie. There you go. So you could be hearing... If you elect Sean, you could be hearing Sean and Eddie on together. Ashley, what is your campaign slogan? Well, guys... It's time for everybody to wake up for a second and realize it's time to make a change. What is your slogan? Live for our children. Lead by example. Wow. That's a long slogan and it's going to be tough to fit on a bumper sticker. But okay. The bottom line for my campaign is where it is at. I see. This is where all of our problems start and this is what I mean. We're all humans. We all have parents. Okay? Uh-huh.
You need to have the proper education. You need to have the proper raising of your children in order to have a good future. And that is really, really what's important to me. What about fighting the Iraq? Stuff like that. Well said. Stuff like that. Thank you, Ashley. One more time with your campaign slogan. Live for our children. Lead by example. There you go. I like it. Thank you. And who will your running mate be? Not wishy-washy at all there. It was 100% sky, but now I'm really thrown off because I feel like...
So I don't know. But I mean, I would want to say Skye, but I already know I'm not going to win. So it doesn't matter. Yeah. So I guess Skye. So I guess Skye. I don't really care. Well, listen, it was going to be you 100%. But then when you waffled on her being your vice president, gave her pause. Well, no, I picked her. You were wishy-washy. No, I just said I had to put some thought into it. I just said I had to put some thought into it. I thought you were going to the beach. You had flip-flops on so much. Okay. Next up. Boston Rob. Yeah, finally. I've been waiting for this. Rob, what is your campaign slogan? Okay, it's real simple. B-Rob for president, no sweat. And Mike, I'll be running on the scratch ticket. There you go. The scratch ticket. You're so stupid. All right, now tell me what you will do with your five minutes. Basically, my goal is to make the P1s laugh. Laugh so hard that you might even squeak out a slider. I don't know how I'm going to do it. It might be Sky jokes. And speaking of Sky, do we really want a Hamabetic running things? Needing shots of Hamsel in every 10 to 15 seconds? Another platform I will need to be standing on is do we really want Ashley the sweaty Clamato running things? Mike, I have an email here. She's got an email, guys. Dear Ashley.
We don't want our show becoming a soaking sweaty mess. Signed Hurricane Katrina. What my forefather Sam Adams once said is hot broads make us buy beer and ugly broads make us drink beer. That being said, I believe he also said P1s need life, liberty, and the pursuit of funniness. You're an idiot. That's one good looking statement and I stand by it. P1s, I believe it's a scientific fact that you want me... Or you want to go where everyone knows your name. Oh, no. Well said. That's the environment I will create. So you take the good, you take the bad, and there you have my campaign. Sounds like it was put together in five minutes. Wow. But, hey, that's all he had. He only had five minutes during that last commercial break to put that together. So there it is. Now, Boston Rob, who will be your running mate if you win? Eddie. There you go. What I will invite you to do is go to MikeyShow.com right now, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W, and under new on the show, you will see vote for Mikey Show president. You can vote as many times as you'd like. We're going to take a break, and when we come back... I'm running for you, P1s, not for selfish reasons like my opponents. Good morning, family. This is the Mikey Show.

USA Discounters, the only incredible credit store. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Okay, in the East County, we have a new accident here. It's westbound 8 near Greenfield Drive. That reportedly on the center divide, so be careful as you make your way past them. That earlier multiple vehicle accident, six cars north, five at 6th Avenue downtown. Everything off on the right shoulder. Just a bit of slowing as you make your way through that S-curve. Southbound 15 of Main Street, final clearing stages of that earlier crash. Slowing, well, Westbound 94, pretty jammed Federal Boulevard to the 15 and again getting into downtown. Westbound 8, slow through La Mesa. I'm John Monty with traffic on Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show continues featuring Mikey. The host of the show is a freak show. Eddie. Guy. I shower and I do my hair at night. Gross. Sean. Well, you know what? I'm a nonconformist. Boston Rob. Nothing in my life can go. Nothing in my life. And Ashley. I'd share my food with you. The Mikey Show's on. I hear you, buddy. 105.3. Welcome back. It's an American song. 744. Today's the New Hampshire primary. People were lined up at polling places before dawn to cast their vote. For me, in case you missed it, breaking news, Joe Gibbs resigned as head coach of the Washington Redskins. All right, folks.
We went into break and we were trying to figure out who will be Mikey Show president for five minutes. I'm going to be stepping down for five minutes and we need somebody to take over. Now, as everyone knows, Eddie has been my vice president for many years. And so what we've asked people to do is listen to everybody campaign this morning. Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, Boston Robb. They've all campaigned for the job. One of them is going to win. Everybody has been online voting. And ladies and gentlemen, if I could get a drumroll please, Sean, we have a winner. Ladies and gentlemen, your new president for five minutes is Eddie. Yeah! See ya! Eddie handily defeated Boston Robb. However, Boston Robb is his running mate. He's my vice president.
So that will be your vice president coming in third place. Stop waving, Eddie. Coming in after. Keep waving. Coming in after B-Rob, Ashley with 17% of the vote. Wow. Nice. Ashley. Thanks, B-Lens. You came in third place. Not bad. Coming in fourth place, Shawnee O'Boy. And whatever, I hate all you guys. Which means that Sky. Oh, no. Come on. You came in last place with 7% of the vote. Computerized voting is rigged. Now, wait a second, Sky. I mean, you were voting for yourself over there. I mean, you got to vote as many times as you wanted. I was not. You were allowed to do as hard a work as you wanted to. But listen. Sorry, the P1s don't take this planet seriously. P1s have spoken. Go green. Eddie and Boston Rob, you are going. Let's hear from the P1s, 570-1053. Some people want to speak about this, as often happens when an election goes down. P1 Ryan.
Yeah. Go ahead. Good. Go ahead. I just wanted to tell everyone I had Sky's full support on this one. I think Mother Earth is very important for our future, and marijuana is always great, too. I think we should get that legalized, too. There you go. Sky lost. Unfortunately, you can't speak about that there. Yeah, it's a Sky supporter. He really wanted you to win. Really wanted you to win. P1 Herald, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Hey, I'm kind of glad Sky didn't make it because you guys definitely would have been off the air within five minutes. Good point. I wanted to vote for B-Rob because, you know, Eddie kind of cheated in a way. Wait, wait, wait. If by cheated, you mean used ingenuity? Then yeah, sure. Yeah, well, you know. Listen, if there's a hanging chat, it has nothing to do with me, man. That's right. I want fair and square. That's right. Well, you know, B-Rob came up with something pretty quick, man. That was pretty smooth, I got to say. P1 Iceman? Iceman, are you there? The Iceman does not cometh. And finally, P1 Tone Loke is on the line. Are you there, Tone Loke? Yeah. Go ahead. Hey, congratulations, President Oracle. Thank you. Hey, uh.
Let's start it off with Drama Queen. You know, here we go. You know, I promise to live up to my promises. And first of all, I'd like to have Sky leave the room. Wow. It's starting right now? He's president. What? It's starting right now? I want her gone. It starts right now. It starts now. Okay, five minutes. Sky, he's a president. Sky is a president. We would have her just turn her mic off and keep her headphones off, but we know that won't work. You still hear her. We've done that before. It doesn't work. Sky is now leading the show. Rob, come into the studio. Yes, please. Come into the studio. You are now vice president. Oh, how refreshing is this? It's unbelievable. Dude, this is a winds of change. This is the first time I've laughed in two days. See, you can do that under my reign. Exactly. You can make all those kind of jokes. Come on in, Rob. How's it feel, buddy? Go to the microphone, Boston Rob. This is awesome. You guys have until 7.55. Okay. Oh, yeah. And so basically, it's anything that guy wanted to hear drama. And he can absolutely hear that under my rule.
Calling now P1 through any songs you want to hear, Batching Sky, we will do it for you. Anything you want. I'm feeling good, man. I wish we'd made it longer than five minutes. I'm feeling fresh, I'm feeling sexy, and I'm feeling honey-baked. And a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, and I can dance. I am Sky, I can dance. I like interpretive jive. Look at me. Can't you see? I am the drama queen. I'm not apologizing for my behavior because I was really sick. I was throwing up here. I went home. I was throwing up at home. Early morning and I'm on the show. Mispronouncing and in the flow. Man, I wish we played music And I didn't have to be Having to read and speak I had just been conversating It's conversing The guys are making me want to cry Life was better when I was high I don't know how I do it Every single day I really earn my pay
And if you didn't know, come on now. I am the drama-ly sheep. Drama queen. Sunscreen from Steve. Helicopter, we're getting out of here. I got off my cramps. It's our time of the month. I'm really sunburnt. I think I need to call mother. Hello, mother. Hello. It's me again. Yes, again. Yes, it's me. Will you come get me? I have a sunburn. No, of course I'm being serious. And you can take me to your place and we'll look for a water bottle. We'll put urine in it and it'll cure me. But call Kaiser first. Make sure that they're aware of this. Ramsey, get those blades moving. Come on, don't be so slow. My goodness, I feel a headache coming on. I'm starting to hyperventilate. Now, how nice was that? Not hearing that. Oh, my God. Stop doing that. I can't believe you guys.
Did you guys hear Ashley try to butt in here? Yeah, I know. She's done. She's out. The chick's unbelievable. She's out. No sweat, no weight. All right. Should we take a couple things? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to hear if people want to hear other stuff. All right. My P1s. Yeah. Hey, good morning, guys. What's up, man? Hey, it's P1 Leonidas. Eddie, not only am I glad that you're the best DJ in the world and president of the show, but I know you're going to have a rib day every Friday, baby. Well, absolutely. No question about that. I love that. I love that. Let's go to hydroponics. Hey, President Eddie, I need you to override President Mikey and play the caroling of the hand. I don't need to override him. He's the outgoing president. He supported me in my campaign, and he will absolutely play that. Right, Mikey? Yes, I will. Now, let's see. I believe this is him. Ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham You're a great vice president. Let's go to line three. T-Rex, I believe, is on the line. You know it, baby.
Listen, I have to interrupt here. I do have some more important business to do. I have to give another five minutes. I'm afraid I have other things to do today, and so I will be able to take over the show, but as long as Eddie is okay maintaining being president for a little while longer, your public demands it. Eddie, is that all right? Second term, absolutely. I think we're prepared for it. No question about it. Yes! The sky is so irritated. It feels so good not having her in here. She's so irritated. You can almost hear her through the soundproof wall, though. It's scary. T-Rex's story in the 28-hour story. Yeah, we could do that for sure. T-Rex, is there a song you'd want to hear? The ham song. Oh, we could do that for sure. All right. Ham eater. How about that one, Rob? Did you hear that ham eater? Ashley's 40. She's freaking out. Well, yeah, she's the worst. She was on the wrong microphone. She was on the wrong microphone. Oh, my God. Go ahead, Skye. Your microphone is adjusted now. I've turned it to one. This isn't a dictator. Let's call Seth Purity. Oh, I thought it was pretty fair. I mean, he called in. The people have spoken. They're calling up nonstop. Well, not only. More like 100. Okay. Eddie, not only that. Not only that. Not only that. Seth is now removing Skye's headphones. No.
Not only that, I just went on the website. I just went on the website. You're still leading, Eddie. See? That's proof. She is being physically removed from the studio. Get her out of here. Hey, taste her, bro. Taste her, bro. Missed this whole song. Can we go to line four? You got it. All right, what's up, man? Guys. What's going on? P1 number three here. President, President Eddie. Yes. May I request of you to play the beating... The Michael Jackson parody. Oh, the beating song? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I think during my reign, we could absolutely find that song. Now, wait a minute. Yeah, we got to find that. We got to find that one. Because you're talking about the Michael Jackson one. We have the regular beating song. Well, let's tell you that. And then we'll look to the other one. You're beating. Yes. You're beating. You're beating. You're beating. You're beating. Yeah. You're beating. Yeah. You're beating.
One thing we're going to do during my presidency is I have a new news girl. Oh, really? Which is my vice president, Boston Robb. Do I got to be the news girl? Hang on, we're getting a call here, guys. We're getting a call. Do you want to answer the hotline here, Eddie? Oh, sure, go ahead. Mikey Show, hello? This is P1 Sky, and I thought America was a democracy. You can hang up on that. And this is turning into a dictatorship. It's not. I'm still leading in the polls. Shut up and get out of here. Rob, you got any kind of news headlines for me? Ah, yes. Sky loves ham and Ashley sweats too much. Perfect. That's all in the news. That is wonderful. Ashley, can you find the beating song for us? The Michael Jackson parody one? You're beating. You're beating. It's already up there for you. Thank you. You're beating, you're beating, you're beating, you're beating. I don't know what it's called. Where is it? It's called... That's what I was just playing. She's the worst. She's the secretary of idiots. I think she's sabotaging you. She is. She's sabotaging us. She's sabotaging. Put it up there or you're out. She's sabotaging. Put it up or you're out. I'll dare her. I'll dare her. She's the worst. Do you want to take another phone call, Eddie? Yeah, we can take another phone call. Go ahead. Mikey Show.
Hello, President Oracle. This is your friend P1 Quimby. Hello, P1 Quimby. Hello. I would like to kick it old school with a little bit of free lunch. Oh, we have that for sure. This is way old school. Going back in the day, man. Still a freeloader and a free luncher. Sky, so glad she's gone. She's a good girl. I feel like we pulled down the statue of Skye. And we're throwing shoes at it. She's a good girl. Gets hungry about noon. We'll never pay. Doesn't matter who. When the big looks to you. Takes your wallet. Get out of here. Get out of here. Seth's security. Seth's security. Where's Seth's security? Seth's security phone calls. Here he comes. He's my secretary of defense. She's trying to hold the door shut. She's trying to hold the door shut. She's trying to hold the door. He got in. He's in. Seth's security is in. Pick her up, Seth. He is removing her physical. He's picked her up. He's picked her up and hoisted her on his shoulder and is removing her from the studio. Hazer, bro. See you.
I think one of my new policies is that I can run for more than two turns. Oh, I like that. I like that rule. What is she doing? Oh, my God. He's physically restraining her out in the hallway. Oh, my God. He just got in here. He got her out. She's unbelievable. She might as well steal. She's free. She's free. She's free. She's free. She's free. Honey game. I just got some news, man. What's that, Vice President Boston Robb? Miss Sky reportedly seen this past weekend up at a Hollywood bathhouse. What a hussy. Continue. Thank you for that news headline. And I believe we finally have the beating song. Yes, we will. So let's give that a listen. Sorry, Sky. You be quiet. I'm going to emancipate Ramsey. Oh, yeah. Hello. Let me tell you.
into a third term and I was happy for it. That was good. Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you, P1s. It was great being in office. Very, very well done. I realize we haven't even begun the show. Like, that happens spontaneously. Now we have material that, you know what I mean? That was nuts. So, prepare. We should be here until about 3 o'clock this afternoon and we'll be right back. Well, we're just concerned about you. Just send somebody, will ya? Like who? A forklift? I don't know what we're sending. Mikey.
The Mikey Show continues. It is 8.13. Tom Cruise's lawyer says he's considering a lawsuit against the author of his unauthorized biography. Speaking of lawsuits, Roger Clemens is going to file one against his former trainer Brian McNamee. He plays a secret tape conversation with him at a press conference yesterday. We got to hear that. In fact, we'll do that here in just a minute. It's so whack. I'm going to throw random things out there, and I want you guys to vote for or against. Okay. I'm going to throw random things out. You vote for or against. It's a big voting day in New Hampshire. We saw the democracy ruled before, so we can do that. Well, no. That was more like a dictatorship. Seriously. He once spoke. I'm going to take part in this, too. I will be voting in this, too. I'm an American.
Fruit or berries of any kind in breakfast cereal. I say absolutely unequivocally no way I vote against that. Eddie? I vote against it. Sky? Four. Sean? Against. Ashley? Four. Boston Rob? Against. Yeah. Four to two. Wow. Doesn't pass. Dang it. That means... There's not going to be any berries in cereal. I think it's disgusting. It's not a big deal to me. My only cereal I eat is Frosted Flakes, so I'm not putting anything in that. It's perfect the way it is. So, Eddie, as executive producer, go ahead and keep track of these as we go along. And go ahead and give me your opinion as to why you're voting the way you're voting. Next thing we're voting on. Roger Moore as James Bond. Eddie. So far against it, I can't even tell you. He was the worst James Bond there was. Sky. Yeah, I don't really give a rip, so I guess no. Sean. Completely against it, his performances were always goofy, and they weren't in keeping with the James Bond product. Ashley. Don't know who he is, so no. Rob. Don't know, so no. Okay, Eddie, I vote no. Okay, that's way easily against. Easily defeated? Yeah. All right.
Strangely, the next thing I have here is not allowing women in your life who have no knowledge of Roger Moore and euthanizing men who don't know who he is. Weird. I vote absolutely for it. Eddie? I'm for that. Sky? Not allowing women in your life who have no knowledge of Roger Moore and euthanizing men who don't know who Roger Moore is. You're against that? I mean, did you hear what just happened? Sean? I am absolutely for that. I'll do it myself. Ashley? for it? I don't even get it. Rob's against it. I'm so for it. Eddie, what happened there? It passed. It passed. That means we euthanized Rob and Ashley's not allowed in our lives. We're voting for and against stuff. Next up, al dente pasta. Eddie. I know you're supposed to like al dente pasta.
They tell us all the time on Food Network, but I don't like it. I don't like it. It's tough. I'm going to vote against it. Skye. I'm for it. Your thoughts? I enjoy it. I don't want my pasta to be mushy. If it's on the border, I'd rather it be a little more firm. I'm for a gate at the border. Sean. I am for al dente pasta. For it. Ashley. Absolutely for it. Against. Rob is against. He didn't even ask you yet. I know, I didn't get to him yet. He cast his vote before, but I will say that I am against al dente pasta. Let me explain. I would like to be for it. Me too. I would like to be for it. However, I like my pasta just a little after al dente. Not soggy. You like your pasta the way you like your pasta? Yeah, I do. Okay, I can understand that. It does not qualify under al dente pasta, so I vote no. We are deadlocked, so that means it does not pass. Next item. Japanese horror movies being made into American ones. Eddie. You know, another one I feel like I should be for, but they don't improve upon the original product, so I'm going to vote against it. Sky. I don't really care, but I like to support people being creative, so I vote for it. But they're not being creative. They're stealing other ideas. Hey, but they're putting their own twist on it, dude. Okay. Sean.
I'm absolutely against it. They never work. They're always dumb and goofy. Ashley. I don't understand. Are you referring to something like The Audition? No. Although, no, because I think The Audition is actually a Japanese horror movie. Okay. Right? Right. It's not American. They speak Japanese. I'm talking about The Ring, The Grudge, all of those movies that were once Japanese. Gotcha. No. You're against. Yeah. Rob. I am for it. Why? The grudge kind of scared the willies out of me. I am absolutely for them. They scare the pants off me. I will never see the Japanese versions in a million years. What do I have to compare it to? They're effective. I vote for Japanese horror movies being made into American ones. Eddie, how do we do? Again, we are deadlocked, so it does not pass. Wow. Next item, air fresheners that smell like food. Example, vanilla. Coconut. Lime. Eddie. Wow. When you first said that, I immediately went, ew, that sounds gross, but I love the smell of vanilla. It's one of my favorite scents. Okay, Eddie. I'm going to vote for it. I love you, vanilla. Okay, Eddie. Sky. I put you all over my body. I vote for it. I have a vanilla Glade plug-in in the cat room. Thank you. That was my throat. Sean. The cat room? Well, the room where the litter box is. Ew. Sean.
I absolutely vote for it. I put it on every morning. He wears vanilla. I do. Ashley. I'm going to have to say I'm very much against that. Why? Because I prefer things such as jasmine or the Caribbean breeze or white lily as opposed to vanilla, lime, or coconut. The lilac. Things of this nature. Well said. Rob. I'm against it. Why? That a boy, Robby. I like the scents like eucalyptus and all that. You don't want your house smelling like food, especially when you have none in the cupboards. It makes you hungry. I am so against the food air fresheners. Now, my wife was privy to this list. She thinks that it's flawed. She believes that it's flawed. She said that she believes that vanilla is so good. that it needs to be in another category and doesn't qualify. I kind of agree. I kind of agree. But I will vote against it. Eddie, how does air fresheners that smell like food? Well, it really looked like it started out of the gate. It was 3-0-4, and then it just got defeated at the last minute because it's deadlocked. Okay. Yeah! I'm going to go first on the next couple of these. The next item up is traveler's checks.
I vote no. Who really uses them? I did. Eddie? I don't even know what those are. I don't know where you get them. I guess the bank? 7-Eleven? I don't know. I'm going to say against. I don't need them. Sky? I vote for them. I don't personally use them, but I like people to have choices. Sean? I don't know anybody besides my grandparents who use them, so I vote against. Ashley? Unnecessary. I vote against. Rob. For it. I've used them in this safe and inefficient way to handily defeat it. Easily defeated two to four. Wow, look at that. Goodbye travelers checks. Next up, we're just voting for and against stuff. It's random stuff. How do you feel? Voting for or against. Okay, next item up. Caucasian gardeners. I say no way. Don't trust them. Like, my first thought is like, what are you up to? Interesting. You know, a Caucasian gardener. Like, no. I vote no. Eddie. Completely against it. I mean, I feel that it is in our Mexican blood to garden and keep the yard well kept. So I'm against it. If I were to lobby with you there, I would say that as a Mexican, I feel just better about my gardening needs. It's my duty. Being met. Yeah. I mean, I can do it halfway. Yeah. Sky, Caucasian gardeners, how do you vote?
I'm for it. This is America. We should be colorblind. You would never hire a Caucasian gardener. She would never. Dude. Ever. Eddie. Ever. Eddie. Well, I wouldn't hire a gardener in general. Eddie. That's not a lie. I've never had a gardener. Well, you have. It's called the boo. But if he was not around and gardening had to be done. Well, I know Ramsey technically isn't a gardener. I know he cleans everything up. Thank you. Thank you. You do have somebody to take care of your yard. The grounds. Sorry. If Sky had a guy knock on the door, let's say it was have to hire a gardener day. And you had to hire a gardener. You had to. You have no choice. You get to select who you want. And you have a Mexican guy come to the door and give you his card. Speaks broken English. Speaks broken English. You see his Chevy, his 1975 Chevy. All the tools. All the tools in the back. The Chevy's rusted. He's got lawnmowers in the back. He's got on gardening gloves when he comes to the door, speaks broken English, hands you his card. The knees are really dirty. Yeah. And his card says, Umberto's Landscaping. Okay? And he leaves. Then, five minutes later, you open the door. Oh, hi there. My name is John. And here's my landscaping business. He hands you his card. It's John's Landscaping. Professional truck where his logo is on the truck.
pristine. He's in nice clothes. Right. No way. I mean, I'm not. Who are you hiring? I don't know. It makes no difference to me. Really? Who takes care of your yard? Umberto. It doesn't matter to you? You know instinctually, hey, I want my lawn done right. It doesn't matter. I say to myself. He gave you a scenario. I also say to myself. I also say to myself about John, I'm like, what's John up to? Dude, he's going to scam me. I think that's a scam. He's going to scam me. It's a scam. Yeah, total white collar crime. White collar crime. Thank you. Nice fake truck, bro. You can take my money and you're splitting. Nice fake John. Umberto is my guy. Get out. Umberto, come on back. Sean, Caucasian gardeners, how do you vote? Any Caucasian gardener is obviously trying to live off the grid. He's running from the law. No way. I'm against it. Ashley. I have a Caucasian gardener, and he honestly sketches me out, so I'm against it. Perfect. Straight up? Wow. Rob. For it. Why? I come from a landscape construction background, dude. Exactly. Thank you. Can I change my vote? Exactly. Thank you, and point proven. Point proven. Easily defeated. Case closed. Next up for the vote.
Men in turtlenecks. Eddie. Dude, I have no neck. I look completely horrendous in a turtleneck. There isn't a turtleneck on earth that will fit my neck. I'm so far against turtlenecks, it's not even funny. Sky. Yes, I'm very against turtlenecks. For some reason, they kind of have a feminine vibe, so no thank you. Sean. Yeah, dude, they're way too fey. I don't like those. Ashley. I can't think of one scenario where a turtleneck would be appropriate, so against it, yes. Boston Robb. I'm for it, but my fiance, me and her already had this talk, so I have to vote against it. Wait, are you for it or against it? I'm for it, but I know people... Don't like that. Why? Your fiance's against them. Oh, she, we had this big talk because I found one in the garage the other day. And I was, I was stoked. I was like, yeah, I used to rock this in Boston. It's kind of like upper class. Like I'd wear it. Dude, I vote for it. That's why I think, listen, I think there's some people. Listen, I think there must be, I don't know how it was. It must've been ingrained in my head. Like it was ingrained in his.
For some reason, I think it's, like, classy. Dude, back in Boston, like, upper class people wore them. Yeah, I thought it was classy. With, like, a scarf and, like, a nice jacket. And I was like, wow, I'm never... Is that homo town? Rob, I'm telling you, it's gay. We're finding out. It's kind of gay. Like, I think women hate them more than anybody. Hold on. This is what I think it is. Because I did some analyzing. I think it's now in 2008. But, like... It used to be in seven years ago. I think it was in, dude. I think there was a fashion trend of it. And it just faded out. We got to wait for it to come back. So, hold on. Hold on to that sweater, guys. My wife is out. Oh, it's the worst. Worst look ever. Next item. Women talking to men about their cramps. Oh. Eddie? Well, this is not even a question. I don't want to ever hear about your cramps. I don't want to ever hear about that time of the month. Like, it should be banned, period. Uh-huh. No pun intended. Sky. I'm for it. We're all adults. You have no problem enjoying that region. Oh, my goodness. I think we should be able to talk about it. I think we should be able to talk about it. Ashley's giving her a standing ovation. I mean, how do you even top that? That's just a whole nother. Sean. After that, I'm against it, man. Thank you. No way. Ashley? Well, I...
think that I am absolutely... Wait, is it for or against that you do it? I think that there's no problem in doing it. So, Sky, does that mean I'm for it? Yes. Yeah, I'm for it because if you men can talk about farts and all your nasty stuff that goes on with you, we can talk about our stuff. We're all adults. I'm for it. What the surprise is that? Who is this guy? Why are you for it? You know what? I'm on the train that says, hey, we're all adults, you know what? And if that's part of life, then that's part of life. Man, you've changed. Good man. I'm against it. Thank you. Of course you are. It's unnecessary. Rob, you weird, man. I don't believe it's necessary. What happened to him? I don't believe it's necessary, that's all. I'm in for tuttle necks, I'm engaged, I love talking about periods. Who are you? Next up for the vote. Oh my gosh. I know you're gay. Next up for the vote. I'm your vice president, dude. No, thank you. Menu modifications when ordering at a restaurant. Oh, you mean like special orders? Yeah, can I get that? But can you do me a favor? Can you put the sauce, like take the barbecue sauce? Does it come with barbecue sauce? Oh, it does? Is it on top of it? Oh, it is? Okay, can you not do that? Can you put the barbecue sauce on the side? And also, I know that this says that it comes with pasta, but can I get that with rice? Eddie.
I am really against this. I'm always embarrassed when my wife does it. It doesn't happen that often. I know a lot of people that do it a lot more often. I hate when Skye orders her dressing on the side and dips her fork in the dressing. The whole thing... Makes me uncomfortable and angry. Uncomfortable. Yeah, because I don't want the waiter to have to do extra work. And it always comes out wrong anyway. So what's the point? It does not. So I am against it. Sky, I mean, we know how you're voting on this. Yeah, I'm fully for it. This is America, please. Sean. I'm absolutely for it. If you want it your way, you want it your way. And they should fix it that way. It's not Burger King, bro. Thank you. Ashley? I'm absolutely for it, dude. Every single time I eat. Every time I order. You're embarrassing. You're way more embarrassing than me. Rob, I do do it occasionally, so I'm going to have to go for it. Yeah, Rob. I'm adamantly against it. Even though you do it. I do not do it. I like my bagel double toasted. I have my latte. Talk about the latte. Extra hot with a half hot.
Talk about the latte. Hang on a second. Yeah, what's up now, half-pump? Hang on a second. The half-pump is about diabetic need. I will go into a diabetic shock. Okay, what about the double toast? Explain that one. Oh, nothing to say there, huh, double toasty? Alright, I do double toast the... They don't do it right. They don't. If they were to toast it correctly, then he wouldn't have to. He wouldn't have to order a double toasted. When you say toasted, it comes back to you and it looks like dough. It's like, hey, can you toast it? This one passes. Next up, baby talk with your significant other. Oh, boy. I need clarification. You need clarification. You know exactly what it is. I need clarification, too. Is this using a baby voice, or do pet names fall under this as well? No, it's not you saying, hey, boo. That's not baby talk. It's actually using a little baby. You know a baby, yes. Eddie. Well, there was a time I would probably have been for it.
but now in my you know 30s i find it childish foolish and i don't do it really anymore so i'm gonna vote against it sky um i'm against it and i've always been against it sean wait a minute sean's giving a look like wait have you really i don't know I've never been a fan of the baby talk. I don't know that I ever remember Sky necessarily going, hey, baby. No, I love to make up like little pet names, but to go to the baby voice. Yeah, I don't know that I ever remember her. It like creeps me out. Now, wait a minute. We're adults. We're going to do something intimate and we're going to talk like a toddler. You don't talk to your. Sean, here's your confusion. Yeah. The question is baby talk with your significant other. Skye does not do baby talk with significant others. She does do baby talk with some of her friends. Oh, yeah. Like for humor. What? Yeah, for humor's sake, she will. Well, that's different. Because it's lame. Yes, Sean hates when she does baby voice. Right, right, right. But she only does it with her friends, and it's usually done. Yeah. And normally it's done with Shawnee because it drives them up the wall. I'd be like, hi, Shawnee. How are you, Shawnee? Pop. Sean.
Baby talk with your significant other. I despise it. I hate it. I hate it. But no. Ashley? Very against it. You have never talked baby talk with your significant other? Well, if I ever do it, that's one thing. Who? Serio? Serio. Serio. Serio. What kind? Special K? No, no, no. No. Serio. I heard you. What kind? Like an Alpine Stereo? No, no, no. Not Stereo. Stereo is her ex-boyfriend. Yes, the name of her ex-boyfriend. Not Stereo. Not Stereo. I'm just asking if she did that with him. Uh-uh. Okay. Gotcha. Uh-uh. Cool. Boston Rob. I think it can be sexy when a chick does it. You are. You would because you... Because you wear turtlenecks and you like talking about periods. I can't believe it. Now, wait a minute. Now, what are we talking here? Now, maybe... Okay, now I got to go. Okay, so he votes yes. I could be swayed here. Yeah, you could.
Hey, you, me, and I, terrible mix. I might be suede. So you baby talk with your fiancé? If my fiancé baby talks with me, that's sexy, man. It's one thing. That could be sexy. It depends on the girl. I think it depends on the girl. Oh, yeah. Rob, can you give an example? Like what she says? Yeah, Rob, I need an example. Because I can't picture what would be sexy. Get her on the phone. If we take a break, can we get her on the phone and she baby talk you a little bit? Oh, I know she's gonna. Let's take a break. Let's take a quick time out. Oh, my God. Oh, you know what? Okay, this is what I want to do. If you're a woman in the audience and you're a good baby talker, 5701053. Oh, I love it. If you're a good, because some women, like, Sky would not be good at it. Ashley wouldn't be good at it because they don't like it. Yeah, I don't know how you would be good at it. Like, I don't get that. There may be a girl that can do it, and it sounds so sexy and so cute. I guarantee you we can find it. I'd love to hear it. 570-1053 if you're a female listening and you're a good baby talker. And we'll see what we can do about getting Rob's lady on to baby talk him. Right hand out. Give a firm handshake. Natural food. Natural causes. Edmund Hagee, CEO, Home to Office Computing Solutions. Up in the North County, clearing stages of that accident. West 78 at Barham Drive off the center divide. That should be just about out of there. We have one westbound 94 near Federal Boulevard. And that's still got some slowing as you make your way past there. That slowing continues to the 805. And then again, 15 connector into downtown. Southbound 5 looking much better. A little bit of leftover slowing around the Lecadia area. Let's see. Other than that, other area freeways looking good. I'm John Monty with traffic on Rock 105.3. That mouth full of veggies. All right. I'm going to tell you something. About Amco. First of all, a lot of people say, well, why Amco? Mikey, why would I do Amco as opposed to taking my car? Well, first of all, Mikey, what do I take my car to Amco for? I've seen Amco. I don't know what it is. What do they do? Transmissions, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, cooling systems. Here's the deal. Does your engine light come on every once in a while? Is it on right now? Take it to Amco. They'll diagnose for free. The other thing is.
Dealerships, they want to replace your transmission. It's going to cost you thousands of dollars. AMCO wants to fix your transmission and save you thousands of dollars. It's very, very simple. Let me say this too. You know how you'll hear people call in sometimes and they'll tell me about how awesome AIS has been for them? You'll hear people call in and tell me about Sleep Train. That's what I want from you. Have you gone to AMCO? Have you had a great experience at AMCO? I want to hear from people that have. I'll put you on the radio. That's what works the best is P1s getting to hear other P1s. They're not going to fix anything that isn't broken. And there's no appointments needed. AMCO is double A-M-C-O. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I consider myself the perfect Mexican. Wow. Eddie. I love Christmas. Sky.
No problem admitting when I'm wrong. I'm just rarely wrong. Sean. You know, I'm really terrible at getting gifts. Yes. Boston Rob. Keeping it for Pete. That's what I'm doing. That sounded hard. And Ashley. I don't get along very well. I don't think with, like, normal, boring people. Oh, come on. Wait a minute. It's the Mikey Show on The Rock. To call in to do baby talk. Wow. Come on, ladies. You can do the baby talk directly to me. Don't feel embarrassed. Don't feel like you're going to be judged here. 5701053. And I'll talk with you. You won't have to sit there and just talk. It won't be embarrassing like that. I'll talk with you. I could be swayed on this vote. We're voting on things this morning. And the thing up for grabs is baby talk with your significant other. It's about to be turned down. And I think I could be swayed here on what I think.
570-1053 is the phone number. It's 843. A San Diego woman has filed a lawsuit against Apple claiming that they're monopolizing the online music market. The Colts' Bob Sanders was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The Chargers' Antonio Camardi finished fourth. Has this song worked for anybody on the show yet, or is everybody still out? Is the jury still out? By this time, I was in. It took a few times. I had to get used to it, but once I got into it, I was like, I'm all in. 5701053. P1 Wills is on the line. Wills, you there? Yeah. What do you think about this baby talk with a significant other? All I got is one point. What real man doesn't like it when a hot chick talks a little baby talk to him? I mean, I don't know. That's definitely hot to me. Now, there's a couple of guys on the show that can't stand it. Eddie hates it. Sean hates it. Rob is all in on it. And I am undecided.
So it really is a matter of personal preference. Yes, I'm not a real man. I need an example. P1 Katrina is on the line, and Katrina, we're going to do the exercise where I'll be the boyfriend. I'm answering the phone, and you're going to do some baby talk with me, all right? Okay. Hey, babe. Hi. What are you doing? Good. How are you, baby? Good. What's going on? Not much. I just miss your little tushy-wushy. Oh, wow. Uh, well, I miss you, too. I miss you, too. Uh, hey, what are you, uh, what's, uh, so you want to hang out this weekend? You want to come hang out? Yes, I do. Can I squeeze your little tizzy wooshy? All right, I don't know about this. How horrendous. Now, hang on a second. Now, hang on a second. It started out great. I gotta tell you, when she very first did it, I was like, that's kind of sexy. Yeah, but you're supposed to talk back to her like that. Oh, I do? Maybe that's why. Maybe it's because I wasn't reciprocating. Katrina, you want to try it again? And this time I'm going to baby talk with you. Okay. Okay. Hey, babe. Hi, baby. What are you doing? Oh, you know, just thinking about you. What time you get off tonight? I get off at four today. Oh, I can't wait to see you. I can't wait to see you either. What time can you be over? Come over. Oh, I can't wait to see you.
All right. That was one try. Katrina, you gave it your best try. You gave it your best try. You were great. Lisa, are you there? Lisa, did Katrina do a good job or a bad job? Did you hear her? I heard her. She did an okay job. Maybe it's the voice. You got to have the right voice. Okay. Can me and you try it? I could try it. All right. Hey, babe. Baby. What are you doing? Hanging, baby. Not doing anything. Hey, I don't know. I'm feeling like I kind of have a cold today. You have a cold? Oh, I'm so sorry. Yeah. Do you need anything? I don't know. Like, I'm laying in bed and I'm just not feeling good. Oh, baby, anything I can do? Um, can you get me some, like, juice and come over? Sure. You can? Sure. Yeah, I'm just not feeling good. Maybe you can bring something to me. Oh, shit. Yeah, that'd be awesome. Will you bring me a blanket? Blanket and pillows and some juicy for you? I'm all in. I'm all in. She's changed me completely around.
That was horrible. I was comforted by it. I liked it. I thought in that situation, I liked it. It was cute. It was very cute. I think it depends on the... Lisa was, I think, better than Katrina. Were you turned on? Well, I don't know that that's really... See, the topic is baby talk with a significant other, and I think she may have convinced me, Lisa, I vote for it. Oh, that was terrible. I'm all in, Lisa, because of you. Yeah! Eddie, did it pass or did it get turned down still? Still didn't matter. Still didn't matter. Wasn't enough votes. Next item up for votes. We're going to do a couple more and then we're done. A couple more things up for votes. The use of Dixie cups. Eddie. Like the small little Dixie cups? Small little Dixie cups that have the colorful little colors on the cups and they sit next to your sink. oh i don't even barely know what those are and haven't used those in billions of years and uh would never so way against sky i'm against them why well i have lots of thoughts like i'm thinking well maybe they'll help conserve water because you're not running the tap like when you brush your teeth you have your little cup there so that's good but then you're throwing them in the trash and they're going in the landfill so that's not good so i say no i'm out on them sean
Anything single use and disposable, I'm for. I love those. Ashley. No way. Go green against it. Oh, Boston Rob. That's so stupid. Yes, for them. You're so stupid. I believe that they are hideous to look at. I don't think that you could find any that match any bathroom. They're tacky. They look lame in any bathroom. I don't care what bathroom it is. They don't match the flora. Oh, my. But what about in the bathroom? Get something nice that's like a cup that you could use to take medication or whatever that you buy at Bed Bath & Beyond that matches the decor of the bathroom. Looks elegant and classy. Okay, we get it, man. Dixie cups. Hideous. I am against. Get it. Easily defeated. Adults having a pet other than a dog or a cat.
Eddie, it's not your kid having a gerbil. It's your 27-year-old friend, John, having a turtle. Well, I got to be for it because we have fish. I know people that have snakes and things of that nature, so I got to be for it. Skye, come on. She is really torn here, man. She is torn. She's torn. Like an old sweater. I'm going to have to say I'm against it. Why, Skye? Well, because, like, I think it's cool when you have that stuff for your kids. Right. But not so much as adults. You know? So, yeah, no. No, thank you. Sean. We're talking about animals that are legal to have, right? Well, what would be an animal that... Well, like some people, you know, they want to have, like, alligators and, like...
Well, like furries are legal. Are you talking about that? I don't get it. Furries are legal. I don't know that they are. I'm sorry. Oh, you don't? Not from what I've seen on the internet. I don't know that that's legal. Because I'd heard that they were. Sean said it. It's a sex perversion. But anyway. Furries are. Because Sean was a furry, so I didn't know. He was a fervor. But Sean, yeah, so let's say any animal other than a dog or a cat and you're an adult. I don't know. I think Ashley's fat, so... Whoa! Wait a second. I'll leave it at that. I'll leave it at that. Uncalled for. Uncalled for. Uncalled for. That's not a vote, Sean. I guess that's a vote against. I vote to throw up, then. I guess that's a vote against. Believe me, I mean... I wish we could take a picture of Skye's face right now. I'm just utter shock. I so did not see that coming at all. I didn't either. But kind of liked it. Ashley... How do you vote? Adults having anything but a dog or a cat? It doesn't affect me, so I'm for it. And for Sean. Rob? I'm for it. You're for it? Yeah, because I got fish and it's cool. A couple of my buddies back home got these big piranhas and I think that's pretty sick. But I mean, if Storm and Norman, your friend, wants to have a pet tortoise or whatever, I think that's hilarious. So go ahead, buddy. Well, I had an opinion, but I was...
My opinion was changed. Wow. I was going to be against it. Then Eddie reminded me of fish. Yep. And I'm like, well, I can't really go against it now. It's like the double toast. Yeah, it's like... What's up, dude? One wasn't really toasted and the other didn't remember. I vote. It passed. Wow. There it is. That was fun. In honor of the primaries being tonight. Thought we would give you a few of those and do a little of the what's what. You guys hear about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo? Well, if you haven't, I will tell you all about it. That's coming up in just a second. Plus, an A-list celebrity is pregnant. And I'll tell you who right after this. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock.
Hello, has this guy ever used an ATM before? Seriously, they aren't that complicated. You know, let's just go to McDonald's. I'm thinking Big Mac sandwiches. Why do you think I'm getting cash, dude? I've always got enough for Mickey Deeds in my pocket. Yeah, right, Big Macs for both of us. Just let me get through this line. Listen to me. Two Big Macs are just $3. What? Yeah, two Big Macs, $3. No, how is that even possible? It's McDonald's. They're the home of everyday value. I'll cover you, and by the time we get back... This guy will be long gone. In case you missed it, this is a Mikey moment. I hate when I find the real super gay stuff catchy, you know? I am not gay. I never have been gay. Fine, but I like that song, though. I so badly, you know, want to be like the man's man that just likes hard rock and heavy metal. Yeah. But that's just not who I am, you know? I'm a man and you're a man. Now, where do we go from here? I fight it. You know, that's the thing. It's like Wi-Fi. I mean, for the more, it's not going to change it. Yeah, don't spend your life in the closet. See, you're insinuating I'm a homosexual. It's not that. The Mikey Show continues. It's a Mikey Show at 8.58. The Dr. Phil Britney Spears special has been canceled after all of Britney's family members refused to participate. Breaking news this morning. Joe Gibbs resigns as head coach from the Washington Redskins. Some people that are Dallas Cowboy fans may be kind of irritated to hear that instead of spending time in the film room and trying to hone up his skills to go into the playoff game, Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, this last weekend was in Cabo San Lucas with Jessica Simpson, hanging out with her and her family. Eddie was saying earlier, man, if he's a Cowboy fan, that really...
Ticks him off. I am by no means a Cowboy fan. I hate the Cowboys. And I'm irritated just from a football standpoint. Like, I would give anything to be able to say I'm in the NFL, starting quarterback for America's team, and I'm in the playoffs. Playoffs? And I decide. I just decide. You just decide! On my off week, I'm going to go. and hang out in Cabo San Lucas with Jessica Simpson? No! You can do that after the season's over, bro. What do they normally do in what is typical for an off week prior to a playoff game? You can rest. I mean, I understand rest and stuff like that. It's not on vacation. Yeah, this isn't vacation. You're preparing for the game. Bill Belichick would never stand for that. Tom Cruise's ex-wife is pregnant. Yeah. So she released a statement saying, I'm not pregnant. Yeah, a couple weeks ago, maybe like three weeks ago, rumors started flying that Nicole Kidman was pregnant. She was dropping out of movies, stuff like that. Like Mikey said, released a statement, I am not pregnant. This is completely false. I am legend is what she said instead. She also said that. And yeah, made the announcement yesterday that yes, at 40 years old, she is pregnant with her first child. 40? Mm-hmm. She finally got pregnant.
She was not getting pregnant with Tom Cruise. They tried to have kids they adopted. And there were miscarriages. Wasn't there speculation that he didn't have swimmers? Yeah. When she wasn't getting pregnant, there was speculation that he didn't have swimmers. Then they adopted. So I thought when Suri came along, I was like, hmm. I wonder what's up. Now she's pregnant. What's the latest on the Britney Spears Dr. Phil thing? I didn't see. any of the entertainment tonight. Did you see it? Yeah, I watched it. Oh, what was it about? It was so stupid. It was horrendous. You can totally tell that Dr. Phil didn't have any really interaction with Britney at all. Because, I mean, they were trying to press him on details, and he would say,
Oh, that's private. That's private conversation. Yeah, because according to his press release, he had an hour-long conversation with her, but according to witnesses at the hospital, he only talked to her for 15 minutes. Yeah. He's trying to talk to her, but she wasn't having it. Right. Cut six. Thursday night, the phone rang, and it was Lynn... She has a very close relationship with my wife, Robin. Clearly, she was very upset, which you would expect any parent would be. How long have you been involved in Brittany's situation? I was first contacted by her family over a year ago and have maintained a running dialogue with them throughout the last year. A lot of people are saying a lot of stuff about Dr. Phil. He's positioning himself as a little bit of an angel. Yeah. Instead of the speculation, why don't we just ask Dr. Phil for ourselves? Today on Dr. Phil, I want you to get excited about your life. If you're going to talk to me, you're going to have to be honest. This is going to be a changing day in your life. Thank you, young man. Good gals, man. Thank you so much. That little boy is so cute. Oh, cow. That guy's excited. Huh?
Welcome, y'all. Welcome. You've been in the news lately. I have been in the news quite a bit lately, and I would like to clear a couple of things up here. Finally. If I can on this whole Britney front. Please do. It actually wasn't me that went to see Britney that day. What do you mean? Really? A lot of people have been saying all this stuff about Dr. Phil going to see Brad. It wasn't me that day. It was actually, it was my alter ego, the great mustachio. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? Now, he can help anyone get over the blues. The great mustachio. That's right. Is that because you have a mustache? Well, it's not me, little lady. Wait. It's my alter ego. Oh, it's your alter ego. The great mustachio. You'd be sending him to someone who's potentially bipolar? No, that is not. You're thinking of it the wrong way, sweetheart. This is weird. The great mustachio. Yeah. He brought his sock puppets and balloon animals and face paint into the hospital room. Really? But nothing seemed to be working. Aw.
Until the great mustachio brought out his secret weapon. What was that? A magic pill called Speed. No, Dr. Phil, don't say your head. You wouldn't want to do that to Brittany. She's got a problem. She burned that frown upside down. I don't think so. And we started having a great old time. Because you gave her dogs. The great mustachio always knows how to cheer you up. No, that's weird. I don't think that's good. Be serious, man. The bottom line is, is that this Britney Spears needs Dr. Phil. No, I don't know about that. I need to get under the hood and use a little elbow grease to get to the bottom of what ails are. I need to get in there, fix what's broken. Okay. When we spoke in the hospital room, she started saying how her pet llama, Ned, wanted to get a quick shave before he babysat the... kids. What are you talking about? This is what she told me. Our Llama Ned babysitting children. Y'all, this is what she told me. No, not a Yama. Llama? It was Brittany's pet Llama Ned. I'm starting to believe this. Okay, go ahead. That was what she was upset about, y'all. See, that's what got her upset. That's why she locked herself in that bathroom. Because of Ned.
Ned wanted to get a quick shave before he babysat the kids. She wanted to stay in the bathroom, so she locked the door, locked herself in the bathroom. She didn't want Ned to shave off the beard because she thought it was cool. The llama has a beard? This is what Brittany was saying? Are you on something? She told me that. I patted her on the head and I got the hell out of the room. It was like Nicholson and one flew over the cuckoo's nose. Okay. Girl's crazier than a raccoon at the dump. Well, that's not very nice of you to say. I don't even know what that means. You know, the notion that I did this for publicity is just ridiculous. Well, it seems that way, Dr. Phil. It's not the first time that this has happened to me. Really? What do you mean? The night I shot Robert Kennedy. No! That was Sirhan Sirhan, and you weren't even there. I screamed out, this one's for Nixon. No, you didn't do that. Don't say that. I took a lot of flack for that, too, and I did that. Bottom line is, just another example of no one being willing to help, and I was there like a lighthouse guiding home. No, don't say stuff like that. You're in big trouble. It's my duty as a healer to help those in distress. I'm sworn. When they ask.
for your help. That's right, and I was. I was asked by her parents. Well, but not by her. Well, okay, you got me on the technicality. She's an adult, Dr. Phil. But I am sworn, Sky, to help any person in need. And Brittany has cried out on multiple occasions for assistance. She usually cries out Monday through Friday, 3 to 4 p.m. KFMB Channel 8 with Stan Miller and Barbara Lee Edwards at 5 o'clock. What are you talking about? Plug. For the latest on the New Hampshire primaries tonight, Barbara Lee Edwards and Stan Miller, KFMB Channel 8. She is gorgeous, but you don't need to promote. Thank you, Eddie. She also cries out for help at drphill.com. No, she doesn't. Why would you cry out? You're the worst. 24-7. No, you don't need to do that. Main reason why I went to see her, Eddie, was because she actually did sky. call me directly. Really? I haven't heard this yet. She called me directly. And said what? Well, I guess nobody else was willing to make a Mickey D's run for her. She said to me, and I quote,
You fly, I'll buy. That's a good rule. Who's supposed to turn that down? What'd you get? Well, she wanted a McRib. They're not selling it right now. So she got a Happy Meal. I got the Filet-O-Fish. I also got Junior Bacon Chi. They don't have that at McDonald's. They don't have that at McDonald's. Yeah, they do. Junior Bacon Chi. Junior Bacon Chi. You went to Wendy's, didn't you? I got you. I knew it, you son of a gun. She loves McDonald's, and you wanted that Junior Baker Chief, and you went to Wendy's. That ain't cool. To be completely honest with y'all. We got you, buddy. Be honest. The reason I was there was because... This is groundbreaking. I'm going to tell you all the truth. You've never heard this before. Come on. Dr. Phil. This has never been told on any media agency yet. The reason that I was there was because Brittany's money and Oprah's money had a play date. I was watching Oprah's money. So I had to take him.
You're a bad person. You're a bad person. You're a monster. I was watching Oprah's money. They had a play date, the two monies. Money doesn't have play dates. They play together. Brittany has no control over her money. They're running all over the place. They don't mind at all. Screaming and shouting like wild animals. I'm sure you helped their money out just fine. I did help her money. You're a bad person. You're a bad person. I'm Dr. Phil. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you. The Mikey Show continues on the rock. Honey, I wrote you a poem. Oh, how sweet. I call it an ode to the In-N-Out Arrow. Oh. Here goes. Yellow and tall, you stand as a beacon. When I see you, my legs, they feel all a weaken. Oh, in and out, Arrow, I love you a bunch. May the next time we meet be tomorrow for lunch. Finn, are those happy tears? Honey? Last year, I bought a house. Changed jobs. I had a beautiful baby girl. Using simple questions anyone can answer.

Roger Clemens holds an angry press conference yesterday, even plays a secret tape conversation.
With his former trainer, Brian McNamee. We gotta hear some of that, dude. Oh, it's crazy. We gotta hear some of that. So, this was on what, Eddie? Like, where did this come from? He holds a press conference. And he opens up the press conference with this secret taped phone conversation with McNamee. And he taped it. Yeah, he taped it. Apparently, his lawyer was on the other line. McNamee didn't know he was being taped, which in the states of Texas and New York, one person has to be consenting to this. So it's against the law, what he did. Oh, man. It's against the law. Wait a minute. So is he trying to say, well, my lawyer was on the phone, too, so one of us knew. Apparently, but the person on the other line had to consent. Right. Especially being broadcasted. He knew that all the media outlets were going to be there rebroadcasting it. So it's against the law on a lot of counts. But he did it yesterday, and it was pretty crazy. It's cut 10. I'm just, like I said, Mac, I'm just, I can't, you know, I'm just, for the life of me, I'm trying to find out why you would tell guys that I use steroids. I understand that. I got to press conference Monday, and I need to, you know, somebody's got to come tell the truth. Roger, tell me what the f*** you want me to do.
Tell me what you want me to do. I told you to email. What do you want me to do? I'll go to jail. I'll do whatever you want. You need somebody to tell the truth, Mac. You need to do it right now. It's ridiculous. Well, yeah, I mean, I'm like, I'm hearing that, and what I'm not hearing is I'm not hearing Roger Clemens going, Dude, why would you say that I did steroids? I've never done steroids. Why would you lie like that? That's the whole debate right now about playing this conversation is in the entire conversation. And McNamee never said once, like, I lied or sorry, I didn't tell the truth. Or, you know, Clemens never directly said, why did you lie? Or, you know, I didn't use steroids. Why did you say that? Nothing like that was ever said. It was kind of that tone of, like, I want the truth to come out. And McNamee saying, well, okay, well, what do you want me to do? Yeah. So Clemens is going to broadcast an illegally taped conversation that really does him no benefit. Correct.
That doesn't make a lot of sense. Now, check this out. Now, if I'm Clemens, and I know I did steroids, and let's say Eddie is now telling everybody I injected him with steroids, okay? And I know I did. I know he did. I know I'm guilty. But I think that if I call Eddie, I can, just by being on the phone with him, kind of scare him. And like now I'm confronting you and I can tape the phone conversation and hopefully get something that sounds like good. So I call Eddie and I'm like, dude, why did you do that? Why would you do this? Now Eddie is like he knows he did something kind of shady to his friend by telling the truth. But what is his reaction going to be? His reaction? Dude, what do you want me to do?
Sorry, man. What do you want me to do? He feels guilty. It sounds like a guy that feels guilty. Brian McNamee sounds like he feels guilty. When he's saying, what do you want me to do? Go to jail for you? I'll do it. He sounds like a guy guilty and feeling bad. Doesn't mean he lied. Doesn't mean he lied. It just means he's being confronted by the guy that he told the truth about. And he's afraid and he's scared and he's guilty and he's feeling guilty. Yeah, because to me, if that were the case and that was me, I would specifically say, You know you never injected me with steroids. Why would you tell somebody that you did and have him answer? Definitely. Because then it's out there. That's the whole point of the thing. Right. And if you say to Roger Clemens, Roger, well, let me back up. If Roger says, oh, well, the reason I didn't do that is for legal reasons. I couldn't, well, wait a minute. If we're talking legal, the whole thing was illegal. Exactly. Well, Roger, after he plays this tape, addressed the media very angry. He's very upset, feels that he has not gotten the benefit of the doubt. His whole reputation is tarnished. He's very, very upset. That's cut nine. We had to go through the torment for a year with the L.A. Times story. I think you heard it on the tape conversation there. I got an O at the bottom of the page. We're sorry. But I had to sit there and...
Wear that in my gut for a year. Now I'm going to go through all this. I'm going to pay a lot of money to try and defend myself again from all the lies. How do you prove a negative? Do I just keep shelling out millions? Is that what I do? And at the end of the day? I think that's a good idea. And at the end of the day, I'm still going to probably get, you know, we're sorry and an apology. That's what I'll get out of this. So when I made my statement, I got another asinine question the other day about the Hall of Fame. You think that I played in my career because I'm worried about the damn Hall of Fame? I could give a rat's ass about that also. If you have a vote and it's because of this, you keep your vote. I don't need the Hall of Fame to justify that I put my butt on the line and I work my tail off. And I defy anybody to say I did it by cheating or taking any shortcuts. Okay? I made a statement through this man when it first happened. I made a statement through my foundation. That wasn't good enough. And now I'm here doing this. I cannot wait to go into the private sector and hopefully never have to answer it again. I've said enough. Thank y'all. Stormed off. Yep. I've said this before. I feel bad for people that are victimized by themselves. I feel bad for victims.
And sometimes people are victimized by themselves. Now, that's one school of thought. I know there's the whole other school of thought is you get yourself into it. It's your own fault. You have nobody to blame but yourself. I agree. I do agree with that. That is true. But I have a thing where I feel bad for people that victimize themselves because even though they're the cause of it, they're still, it's like they're slapping themselves and punching themselves in the face. That's what I hear when I hear Roger Clemens. I hear desperation. I hear desperation, you know. And it reminds me of Randall Duke Cunningham. Before he got busted, he was willing to say anything to get people to back off and not ask any more questions, including his record in Vietnam, which was tarnishing that record, tarnishing what he had accomplished. And in a way, And we don't know if Roger Clemens is guilty or innocent. Maybe he is innocent. Maybe he is. I'm just saying what we're hearing. He's lashing out at the media. He's lashing out at the Hall of Fame. None of that is necessary. Well, to me, if you're innocent and you haven't done anything, that just doesn't happen. No, it doesn't make sense. I don't know. All I can give you is my opinion. That's all I'm telling you. P1 Orlando, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead.
You know, there's two ways to take that. Why didn't Matthew say to him, Roger, why are you lying? Why do you want me to get back up and lie? I mean, you can play it both ways. And I think as far as Roger Clemens, he's pretty passionate about it. And I'm kind of tending to believe him. Okay. Now I'm going to offer something to you, Orlando, and let's talk through this, okay? Okay. Okay. Let's say that you're right and Roger Clemens is innocent and he never took steroids. Okay? Okay. Now you just got to acknowledge you're following me, but let's say that... I know where you're going. Okay. Now hang on, hang on. Let's say Roger Clemens is innocent and he never took steroids, okay? Do you really think that if this guy McNamee made this story up about Roger Clemens, do you really think Roger Clemens would have ever gotten him on the phone? If you made up a story like that about somebody, would you get on the phone with them?
They would be the last person. I would. A gigantic lie that you made up about somebody. If they call you, that's the last person I'm talking to. I think I would. You think you would? I think I would because I would want to know from a former friend, why did you do that? Why would you do that to me? Oh, no, no, no. That's not what I'm saying. If you lie about me and I call you, are you on the phone? Like Brian wouldn't answer. I see what you're saying. That's what I'm saying. I think you're probably right. I probably wouldn't. Yeah, I agree with you. Okay, just one more time, just so that's illustrated, because I want people to think about it. If Roger Clemens is absolutely innocent, and he was never injected with steroids by Brian McNamee, and Brian McNamee decides he wants publicity, and so he wants to write a book someday, so he's going to make up that Roger Clemens took steroids, okay? So he does, and he lies. And Roger Clemens calls. Does it really make logical sense? Anything could happen. But does it really make logical sense that Brian McNamee would go, yeah, I want to take that call? I'll give you one reason why he may. Why? I'll pay out. Oh, yeah. If there's only one way for him to make money off of Clemens. We can make this go away, Roger. You give me X amount of dough and I'll recant. I'll say I made it up. But he's not saying that. He's saying, what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do? I'll go to jail. What do you want me to do?
And some people may be wondering, well, if he's telling the truth, if McNamee's telling the truth, why would he be offering to go to jail? I'll tell you why. You're hearing a guy being confronted by somebody he told the truth about, and it's a friend, and he's on the phone with him. He feels bad. Hey, I told the truth about you. What do you want me to do? I'm sorry. How do I make this good? He's almost trying to make Roger feel guilty. Right. In my mind, he's almost like, Roger, you know you did this. What do you want me to do? One of the things he says in the tape is that, you know, I've lost everything. I lost my wife. I lost my kids. I lost my house. I'm living in McNamee. Okay. Yeah. And that I'm living in a small apartment now, Roger. Like he's giving him all this information too. And I don't know if that adds to his case or against him. But, you know, he's a very desperate man. Sounds like a very desperate man. And so I don't know if he did all these things because he feels like he's lost everything or he lost everything because of this or I don't know. 570-1053. P1PI is on the phone. Are you there? Hey, what's up, guys? What's up, man? Hey, just want to let you guys know. I just want to clarify something. The state of Texas is a one-party state.
It was a legally taped conversation as long as a third party isn't the one doing the taping. One individual has to know that the conversation is being taped. Okay, wait, wait, wait. So if I understand that correctly, what you're saying is it was legal because the attorney was listening in and knew about it? No, just Roger Clemens could have taped it by himself. So as long as one person knows. Yes, a one-party state. That's a weird law. That is weird. You can tape it yourself as long as a third party is not taping the two people unknowingly. Right. That's odd. I got you. I got you. P1 Paul? Hey, I'd like to make a remark about Brian McNamee's remarks about what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do? Right. Prior to Roger Clemens' press conference in the media, it kept going off about Roger Clemens was tampering with a witness. It's one of the reasons why... They made this, what do you call it, this tape conversation. One of the also things is they're trying to say... No, no, no. Go back to that one. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Before you move on to point two, before you move on to point number two, I don't understand your first point. Explain. Well, prior to this press conference, in the media, there were all these reports going out that Roger Clemens was tampering with a witness. Hang on, hang on. Stop right there. Stop right there. Stop right there.
I haven't heard any of that. I haven't heard that Roger Clemens was tampering with Brian McNamee. I've never heard it once. No, no, it was just being reported in the media, and it was false, but it was the media doing what the media does. Making that, okay, I'm just trying to follow, bro. So you're saying that the media made that up. I never heard it, but you're saying you heard it. I've heard it. Okay, okay, that's cool. But one of the things is he did keep saying almost 40 to 50 times. What do you want me to do with you? There were other attorneys on Brian McNamee's side. You know that they both had even spoken at the beginning of that thing. They were talking about cell phones, and we've got to watch what you're saying, this and that. That was in the beginning of the interview also, in that conversation. But had Roger Clemens answered... Now, you must be talking about something... Wait, wait, wait, wait. You must be talking about something we didn't hear. Because in the clip we played... Hang on. Thank you. Oh, he's a talker. Yeah, I mean, I can't... have a conversation. Some of the things that were said in this conversation were, for the life of me, I'm trying to figure out why you told guys I did steroids. And McNamee responds with, I understand that. Exactly. That's not saying I never did steroids. Why would you tell people I did? Because for saying for the life of me, I'm trying to figure out why you told guys I did steroids, to me, sounds like
You did do steroids. Right. Everybody's different. It's not a denial. Everybody's different. But if it's me, I'm going, dude, why would you lie about me like that? Yeah, you'd use the word lie. Yeah. Why would you say, or you would say, dude, that's not, why would you say that about me? That's not true. Right. You would say that. It's almost like he carefully worded everything he said to him. Yes. So that it was noncommittal either way. P1 Jason, are you there? Go ahead. Well, the two things I wanted to bring up was, one, when they asked Roger Clemens about taking a lie detector test, his lawyer immediately jumped in and said that they wouldn't do that because they didn't feel that those tests were accurate. See, because I thought that Clemens had offered to take one. I thought Clemens had said, I'll take a lie detector test.
The media brought up the whole idea of a lie detector test. Clemens didn't say anything. His lawyer immediately jumped in and saved him from having to... So it was the media that brought up the idea of a lie detector test. And the other thing was, he said that when they asked him what he thought about steroids in general, he said that he didn't feel that steroids improved the player's performance. He basically said, it just makes you look better in a suit. So he was almost kind of saying, in my opinion, well, you know, if I did take steroids, and I'm not saying I did, it wouldn't have increased my performance anyway. Okay. Hey, thanks for the phone call, man. I appreciate it. P1 Matt, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. Is this Mikey? Yes, it is. Hey, what's up, man? Not too much. I got a couple of points about the Roger Clemens deal.
Number one, the way the law is written about one party has to be aware that the phone call is being taped, that's so that a third party is not recording a call between two people unbeknownst to both of them. So as long as one person knows that the phone being recorded, it's legal, meaning Roger Clemens can call the guy. And I think I understand that. I think that the idea behind that is that if you are a cop in Texas, and you are trying to bust a mob guy in Texas talking to one of his other mob henchmen, it's illegal to tape them both unknowingly. In the case of law enforcement, maybe, because they would have to get a warrant. Right, right, I got it. Point number two is the reason, although let's say that somebody told a vicious lie and you like that,
And the first thing you would do is call him up and be like, hey, how dare you say something like that? You know, you ruined my career. You better tell the truth. And you would basically say anything you could to force this guy into be perceived as changing his story. And that's the reason the lawyer was listening in with Clemens when he made the call. And that's why he's very ambiguous in the call. And he never really shoots straight at the guy. because the lawyer doesn't want him to veer into what could be considered witness tampering, which he can be indicted for. So in other words, you're saying the phone call that we hear is legal and can be used in court, and so Roger Clemens is being coached by his lawyer not to do the wrong thing. Not to say anything to the guy which could be perceived as witness tampering. I understand that. I understand that part. What I don't understand is I don't understand why we're not hearing... Why did you lie? Brian McNamee. Yeah, yeah. That's all you have to say. That's not tampering. Why did you lie, Brian? Why did you lie? You don't hear that at any point. That's clear cut. Point none. You're right. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm kind of on the fence with this, too. But just one last point is the reason maybe that the trainer never really says anything at all about it is, I mean, this guy's probably no idiot either. He could suspect that he's being taped.
You know what I mean? I'm sure he was. Personally, I think that McNamee probably was a little suspicious. You know what I mean? But we're getting a phone call now from P1 Mike that says that McNamee actually emailed Clemens telling him to call? Yeah, that's kind of the big point you're missing is McNamee actually emailed Clemens. and said, you know, give me a call and we can talk about this. Have you heard that, Eddie? There was a reference to an email. I did hear that, but I didn't hear that he said call me or whatever, but I'm sure he did. Yeah, he said he wanted to speak with them, so instead of emailing him back, Clemens called him. And so I think McNamee knew that something was up. He was either on the phone or, you know, it was going to kind of come up, so I think that's why he was kind of shady about everything. What do you mean McNamee is... Suspicious. If he told him to call, what's he suspicious of? He told him to call. That's what I mean. So he knows Clemens is probably going to be taping it or having his lawyer. Why would he know that? If I tell you to call me, I don't think automatically you're taping me. If you call me unsolicited, I'm suspicious. I just, I mean, I just think that when Mac to me kind of initiated, said, hey, call me, we'll discuss this. He kind of thought, you know, Clemens is going to come at me. So I'm not going to incriminate myself or. Okay.
So I'm just taking the other point that you guys were saying, you know, why would McNamee answer the phone and want to talk to him? He told him to call. I got you. Now, there's one point in this that you've brought up before that is kind of interesting. You said if anybody ever told a blatant lie about you in the press and all that stuff, that you would sue them. Yeah. Roger Clemens is filing a suit against Brian McNamee. Interesting, because... So McNamee will now, the burden will now be on, well, who is the burden on? They're talking about, now McNamee is going to countersue Clemens. So it's kind of like, you know. And has he filed a suit or he says he's going to file a suit? I believe Clemens has filed a suit. Which means McNamee is going to have to come up with proof that he injected him with steroids. Wow. Which, this is very tricky. Who did Brian McNamee tell the story to initially? Well, he told it to the Mitchell guy. The Mitchell guy. Okay, there we go. Okay, so this is real interesting. He could very well be telling the truth to George Mitchell in the Mitchell report. But, very clever of Clemens' attorney, he's like, maybe that was true, but how's he going to prove it?
It's the same thing if I went into the media and said Tom Cruise is gay. Not in the media. He also did an interview with Sports Illustrated. After? After the Mitchell report. It's one thing to do an interview with a talk show magazine. If a legal investigation was launched, a clear channel investigation is launched, and they come to you as the producer of the show, and they say to you, as producer, Eddie, did did you ever give Mikey drugs? Clear Channel launches an investigation and says, did you ever give Mikey drugs? Because drugs are illegal in Clear Channel's building. And you say, yeah, the truth is I did. And then Clear Channel makes it public, just like the Mitchell Report came out public. And so now that it's public, Talk Show Magazine comes to you and says, hey, Eddie, can we interview you about this? And you say, yeah. They say, so tell me, what's the deal? You gave drugs to Mikey? Yeah, I did. It's out there now.
it's kind of the same thing. Now, I can then sue you and say, that's a lie. You never gave me drugs. And you got to prove that you did. How are you going to prove that? How are you going to prove that? It may be true when the investigate, when they was, he was investigated by Clear Channel. Eddie was afraid and he told the truth. He told the truth. Yeah. So what's, I mean, I don't see how you can sue because just based on the precedent that you were asked under oath something. You weren't going out of your way to slander. I'll tell you how. Because now my, this is what I'm saying as Mikey, the guy that Eddie said he gave drugs to, I'm saying, hey, how am I supposed to get a job now? Like, how am I supposed to go out into radio and get a job now? This guy said that I do drugs and I'm kind of, he tarnished my reputation. But he was asked under oath. Great. So he was supposed to lie under oath to protect your future as getting a job? No, what I'm saying is he was lying. He was lying. And I will go under oath to say he's lying. Yeah. And he's got to prove it. He's got to come up with pictures of the Coke bag he took to me. And I know he can't. I know he can't. Pictures of you snorting the Coke. Yeah. Oh, I got those pictures. Oh. Well, not of me, but of... Of you. Okay. Wow.

LSU rolls over Ohio State 38-24 to win the national title last night. Great. Real good. How could you not like that? Guy's voice sounds good. The words are a little dumb, but, you know. Nice melody. Welcome back to the show. There was some weird stuff happening in San Diego. I don't know if you heard about the, I say with finger quotes, kidnapping. Did you hear about this?
kidnapped this lady calls in says uh she had been kidnapped and sky you said that by the time you tuned in they were like following the story yeah chasing a guy yeah well because i kind of had uh the news on it kind of in the background when i was doing stuff all yesterday so the four o'clock news they were you know reporting on this kidnapping that had happened on sunday night and this crazy car chase and then by the six o'clock news the uh whole story had changed and taken a turn. And what was it? Yeah, wait a minute. I think we have audio of the deputy that's saying exactly what happened. Cut 75. When we got her up here to the station a couple hours later and settled her down, the details of her story weren't adding up. At that point, our detectives confronted her with the facts, and she admitted that she had actually left her husband and had been spending the last two weeks traveling through all the Indian casinos. yeah so she first claimed that she had been kidnapped for two weeks and then they chased down her husband it went on all these different freeways high speeds in the rain sunday night and then like the deputy said when they finally got the husband in and got her in turns out no she had just been like on a gambling binge at casinos for two weeks and her and her husband were on the out so
She thought this was a good way to get revenge on him. And he ran from the cops because he had a warrant out for him on something totally unrelated. And so since he ran, obviously the cops thought he really was a kidnapper and a whole mess and really put a lot of people in danger that night with the high-speed chase. All because she's a nut. Yeah. It boils down to she was a nut. Yep. Awesome. We want to have somebody be able to come into the studio and hang out with us on Friday, so why don't we do this? Do you know who has got to say? I just want to let people know the Golden Globe Awards were going to be on TV on Sunday. Cancelled. Not going to be on. Well, they're still on, but they're not. They're not on. They're not on TV. You're not going to see them. They're off. They're cancelled. Except for the hour-long announcement of everybody. You won't see them. Except for the what? They're off. They're cancelled. It's not on TV. Is it on or off? They say goodbye. Scratch it. Get them out of here, they say. It's over, Johnny. Goodbye. Well, the traditional format is this red carpet entry and this dinner and they give the awards and people make the speeches, whatever. Well, because of the writer's strike, the actors won't cross. How dare you? The actors won't cross the picket line. So instead of the big gala event, it is going to be an hour long kind of press conference style where they're announcing all the winners. Now, they're not going to do that on TV, are they? Yes. They're going to televise the press conference? Yeah. Seacrest. So will the stars be there to listen and go, okay, I won, thanks. No, they won't. So they have to watch it on TV to see if they won. Watch from home. Can you imagine you work your whole life, you want to be good, you want to be a great actor, and you work up until the point where maybe you win a Golden Globe, you get nominated, and then you don't get to go. I heard the big girl from Hairspray, she was nominated for a Golden Globe. I don't know what her name is. You know who I'm talking about. I think her name is John Travolta. No, no, no. The other girl.
Well, this is her one and only chance that she's ever going to get nominated for any. That's sad. And she's like. Poor thing. Yeah, that's awesome. She probably already had a dress picked out. Speech me. That's pretty. That sucks. It's brutal. Now she's going to binge. P1AO is on the line. AO, are you there? AO, you're going to represent the men. How old are you? 24. How long have you been listening to this show? A little over a year. All right. All right. Hang on, AO. P1 Princess Bride, are you there? I'm here. How old are you? I get it. How old are you, Princess Bride? I'm 35. How long have you been listening to the show? A couple years. Sounds good to me. Sounds good to me. Sky, who started first last time? The girls. All right. Guys are up. P1 AO. First person to five points wins. You have three different types of questions. One, two, and three-point questions. Ones are easy, threes are hard. First person to five wins. What do you want, Leo? Let me get a two. You want a two-pointer. Name three show members that grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. All right, let me see. Sean, Eddie, and Mikey. That is correct. I didn't write that question.
I'm now taking a look at that question and going, there's really only two people that you could mention that would be wrong on that one, and that is Rob and Zeth. Pretty much. It was pretty easy to get that one right. It was an easy one. So you got it. Princess Bride? Yeah. What do you want, a one, two, or three-point question? I'm going to do a one. You got it. Who on the Mikey show is known for being cheap? Sky. That is correct. Sky. Frugal. I like to use the word frugal. Yeah. Don't try to church it up. She's cheap. Frugal. P1AO. One, two, or three-point question. You need three to win. Here we go, wife. You got it. Oh, yeah. Come on. Your two-point question is, who on the show recently earned the nickname Charlie Brown? That is correct. Wow. Full name.
He only needs one more point to win. Princess Bride, if you stand a chance, you better come storming back. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? Oh, man. Don't make me boo you. Come on. Let's go with it. You want a two-pointer? Yes. Playing it safe. Your two-point question is, who on the show recently got engaged? That is correct. Your one-point question is, what year did Eddie get married? Why is she booing? Princess Bride did not get one question wrong. She's coming in two. You guys both did good. You guys didn't miss one question. I appreciate that. Hang on the line, the two of you, okay? I hope they don't get used to that.
I don't want to get it to a point where they're like, hey, wait a minute, I lost. Why am I not coming in? Yeah. Yo, you don't even know what stupid is. The Mikey Show is on. It's about to get all stupid. Last year, I bought a house. Changed jobs. I had a beautiful baby girl. Using simple questions anyone can answer, TurboTax quickly learns about your unique situation. I'm here. Talk to me about AIS. I just wanted to tell you, you know, I called AIS and talked to a kid named Carlos out of Escondido and they saved me like $700 a quarter on my auto insurance. $700 a quarter? Yeah. I don't know what a quarter is. That's every three months or four months?
It's every six months. I don't think that's a quarter, but that's neither here nor there. All right, every six months they save you how much? $600 because I had it suspended on my record when I finally got my license when I was 25 years old. I never drove before. This guy is saving $1,200 a year by switching to AIS. Yep. That's phenomenal, dude. Yeah, I think I might go get some laser eye surgery now with that money. You should. You might as well. Hey, listen, in all seriousness, you're writing checks for so much less every month. You can use that money on yourself in a fun way. Yeah, I appreciate it. You know, it really helped me out. I was thinking about it, and I called them, and I went out on a whim, and, you know, they were really cool, and they hooked me up with a good auto insurance dealer and really helped me out. You know McDonald's is going to add coffee bars and baristas.
to their stores. What, they don't own enough of the place? I mean, the marketplace? Well, they need to make some more money. They're kind of hurting. They were like, you know, Starbucks does good. That's what we need, money. Yeah, so I guess they've already been testing it out in about 800 McDonald's stores across the country. It's been a big success. They say the plan is for all the U.S. McDonald's to have these coffee bars by 2009, and they say it's going to cost you about 60 to 80 cents less than what you would get at those coffee chain, those unnamed coffee chain stores. Yeah. Well, there you go. Dunkin' Donuts. Rob really likes Dunkin' Donuts. He does? Yes. Speaking of Dunkin' Donuts, Duncan Hunter's really mad. Oh, dude. He's a dude from San Diego, right? Yeah. He's a presidential candidate. Yes, for the Republican Party. Who I have heard many times is the most Reagan-like in all of his opinions. But anyway, he was not asked and was not included and was not invited to be in the debates last Saturday on ABC, and he's really mad.
Yeah, he had a couple things to say about that. What did he say? Well, I'll let you hear from his mouth a cut 79. And ABC closed me out. And similarly, Fox News decided not to allow me to take place in the Fox News debate on Sunday. And, you know, I could have offered a lot of that debate the other night when they talked about border control because I built the border fence in San Diego that works so well. And I wrote the law that takes it across Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. So I think that's a dumb thing to do. I think it was done by a knucklehead, and write that down, that's knucklehead, corporate executive, and I think it's the height of arrogance for American corporate media leaders to decide who's going to be on the ballot and who's going to be in front of the public a few hours before the election. Wow. That was awesome. Make sure you write that down. Yeah, write that down. It's nothing. Well, how do you spell that? K is silent. K is silent. Imagine if he said, I'll spell it for you. It's N-U-L. Oh, brutal. Well, there it is. Yeah. There's a woman from San Diego. She's suing Apple. And she's saying that they're monopolizing the online music market.
Yeah, she says that Apple and their iPod restricts consumer choices because you can't use your iPod with downloading music from other places, and you can't use iTunes with other MP3s. So she says it's a monopoly, and she wants to make it class action. She wants them to stop their anti-competitive practices and also pay an unspecified amount of damages. I don't understand that. Amazon is selling. mp3s as we speak i mean there's way then you can use your ipod to download the amazon that's their big deal they say they show you right there on amazon they say download our music it'll work on your ipod they show a little picture of an ipod they show that uh river thing or whatever it's called stacy summers of san diego you should probably look into that hey stacy because that undermines your whole yeah there's other places you can get music sweet hat sweet hat Let's see. Jamie Lynn Spears is getting her GED. Is she doing that because she feels like she's going to need it? Idiot. Well, I don't know. I mean, she wants to get her degree, and obviously she's pregnant, so she was seen walking around with the GED book, so it looks like she's going to go about it that way to try and get her high school diploma. I got my GED. That's what I have. I never graduated from high school.
I got my general education diploma. Because you got pregnant. I got pregnant early. Bummer. I needed to do something about it. I remember that day getting my GED very, very, very clearly. It was yesterday. I do. Really? Do you know what I did? It was either right before or right afterwards. I parked in the parking lot of KSJO radio station. I was about 18 years old. 17, 18 years old. I took the test and it was in San Jose. And I don't remember if it was before or after the test, but I parked in the parking lot of KSGO where we used to work. I parked there. And I sat there and I listened to the radio. It's a true story. And I thought, I want to work there. And then I did and I got fired. A couple times. How many times did I get fired from KSGO? If I said two or three. Two or three times.
memory doesn't serve correctly but I did get fired from there I always wanted to be on the radio when I was in high school I wanted to be on the radio in fact I didn't go to school I used to go watch this guy Alex Bennett do his radio program in the morning I would sit in there studio audience in San Francisco I would eat at a Denny's type restaurant before I would go there to become fat That wasn't the purpose, but that's certainly what happened. We don't need to go there. Got the same thing almost every day. What? French dip sandwich at four in the morning. Yuck. Are you kidding? I'm not kidding. This is a true story. You lead an interesting life. I do. I've always have. I love it. Did it come with fries? Yeah, it did. And not the kind of fries I liked.
What do you mean? It's those block, you know, those big wedge type. Steak fries? Yeah, man, I don't like that. It's irritating. I like steak fries. I like, yeah, first of all, to me, the only fry in America that's worth its weight is the McDonald fry. I'm not a fan of any other fry in America. I support that. If you guys can think of one. Jack in the crack, man. Nope. Not as good as McDonald's fries. We should have voted on this. The curly fries are good, but you can't even compare them. They're not in, like, that's not, that's different. You can't, that's different. There is no fry like the McDonald's fry. Now, wait a second. This is quite a statement. Give me one. Communist Russia. Give me one. Are you talking just straight French fry? Because you get the garlic fries, you got truffle fries, that pample mousse, you got... All kinds of different delicious fries. You always mess me up like that. Well, I thought we were just talking straight French fries. Yeah, you can't count this. We're not talking curly fries. We're not talking garlic fries. No, I was making a bold statement. I was trying to say out of all fries in the world. So that's the only fry in America. I really believed it. Up until you said that. Far-fetched. Up until you said that, I was like, that's the best fries. Salt and vinegar fries at Oceaneur. Delicious. Cheesy fries. Okay, so a fast food. This is a tasty burger.
Fast food french fries. Okay, fast food french fries, but now it doesn't even have the same impact, but yes, McDonald's. Where's the fun in that, though? That's not even a big deal now. Because I agree with that. Yeah, fast food, that's it. Now, but those pamplemousse truffle fries, what are you supposed to do with that? Delicious. That's the greatest thing ever made. The jig is up. I wouldn't go that far. It's one of the greatest things ever made. And what are you going to do? P1 Turtle just instant messaged, Carl's Jr. is doing the fry the same way McDonald's does. I haven't eaten at Carl's Jr. Not in my travels. When I went to Carl's Jr., they had, back in the day, criss-cut fries. That's what they had then. They used to only have that at Carl's Jr.? No, yeah, that was kind of like on the same level as the curly fry. Yeah, it does. Oh, they had regular fries, too. Pamplemousse fries are the best fries. Period. Period. In America? Pamplemousse fries are better than the McDonald's fry. Wow. I would hope so. No doubt about it. No doubt about it. It's the best fry in the United States of America. Statement. I almost cried. Big statement. In fact, I think even the universe, because I don't think you could travel outside of the planet Earth. I just don't.
Have you ever had a Gorgon fry? Haven't. Okay, then you can't speak on it. Gorgon. But I will say that what I know now, Pamplemousse is the best fry on planet Earth. That you've had. That I've had. Yes. Because there may be some fry somewhere. After Pamplemousse fries, McDonald's fries. After McDonald's fries, and I'd almost say tied with McDonald's fries, which are amazingly great, are Ocean Air salt and vinegar fries, which are hard to beat. Awesome! My wife... My wife's ridiculous. Just IM me. What? Ridiculous. In and out. Oh, no. Don't say in and out. No, it's not in and out. Okay, because I'd be really mad at that. It's just red robin fries, she says. Oh, come on. Come on, babe. No, they're okay. Those are really good. They're okay, but they're not on the same level. Like, I'm not even... Like, what? Ugh. Yeah.
I could pass on that. Whoa. I really could. Pass on grass. If I was given an option, I might take another. Like if they said at Red Robin, do you want our fries or do you want? Onion rings. Onion rings. Whoa. Definitely. Whoa. That's crazy. You're not impressed. No. I'm not impressed. Whoa. Not bad, but no. Eddie, best fries in America to you. My dad's, but if we're talking restaurant. Your dad's, what does he do? He makes garlic fries. See, I forgot about Gordon Bierce. Yeah, Gordon Bierce makes great garlic fries. A little pungent for me. A little too much, huh? A little too much, because I want to taste the fry, too, not just garlic. How come nobody's told Gordon Bierce that? Because I think everybody agrees with that Gordon Bierce statement. I love the Gordon Bierce garlic fries. Yeah, because I'll always eat the ones on the outside rim, because the ones in the middle are too pungent. I think we all do that. Yeah, that's probably true. I think we all do that.
Sean, do you do that? Yeah, too much. I think everyone does. Why isn't Gordon Bish figured out? I don't know. That's a good question. P1 Buckley's on the line. Yes. Sing us something, Buckley. Buckley, sing us something. What's up, Buckley? Yeah. How you doing, Mikey? Good. Yeah, I got a comment about the McDonald's fries. Have you noticed the change in the flavor since they changed the cooking oil? I haven't eaten at McDonald's for about a month because I'm trying to lose weight. Oh, they're horrible. What happened? They're dry now. They're hard. They're over crisp. They do just no good. Are you sure it's not the one that you're going to? No, because I've gone several times, and they're just really bad. I can't speak to that, but I've always loved them. Have you noticed, has anybody... Thank you. Al Krast. P1 Art has a fry opinion. Go ahead, Art. Del Taco, hands down, that's... fast food french fry in the world. Eddie disagrees. Not even close. I do love the fact that you can get french fries with Mexican food. That is a great combo. But Del Taco's fries on their own, nowhere near as good as a McDonald's or any of those other places. Eddie, in and out. Terrible fries. One of the worst fries in fast food. It's garbage! Fresh out of that oil, when they're piping hot, they're tolerable.
They're serviceable fries. I say they're serviceable. After you salt them, you have to doctor them up to make them good. I don't want to have to doctor up my fries. I want to eat them the way they're served. There is no way in the world that you can have one of your loved ones go get you in and out. There's no way you can do it. They sit in the bottom of that bag in that little carton. The little cardboard carton. Weird. I have nowhere to put my ketchup. It's garbage! Yeah! It's irritating. It's a whole irritating mess. I love the fact that they use those fresh potatoes. I get to watch them with the pumpkin. They make those fresh cut fries. That's awesome. Again, if you're dining in at In-N-Out, serviceable. Who does that? If I'm driving through Barstow or something, maybe. Rebecca says blasphemy. She can eat those things. She can have me go pick it up and bring it home to her. She loves it. Oh, yeah. In-N-Out fries are probably my favorite fries, only because they're so healthy. Gosh, they're terrible when they're cold. They're terrible when they're cold. Any fry is terrible when they're cold. How are they more healthy than another fry? Yeah. Because they use less grease. How do you know that? Ashley just used a fake stat. She did. No, I didn't. I got it from stat.com. I got it from fake stat.com.
Unbelievable. I got it. Fakestat.com. From a resourceful website. Resourceful. Anyways. Reliable, you mean? No, because, well, Scott, you were just saying that you have to add a bunch more salt, right? So they're obviously less salty equals healthy. She made that up on the spot. She had to try to get on with it. Fakestat.com. That was a good recovery. I appreciate it. P1 Matt. P1 Matt. P1 Matt. What's up, Matt? Hey, man, I want to comment about the fries. You guys are absolutely correct on that. I'm up here right now in the Bronx, New York, and I miss Rock 105.3, and I just thank God you guys got it online so I can listen to some real freaking rock. So anyways, I'm listening online. You guys are talking about the fries. They got White Castle out here. It's a prominent burger joint up here on the East Coast. I've never had a White Castle. What? You've never had a White Castle? When all the times you've been to the East Coast, you've never had a White Castle. It's really nuts. Eddie, did you when we were out there? Not when we... I don't remember there being one in Rochester. I'm sure there were, but I don't remember. But I've had White Castle. That's something you need to do when you go to the East Coast. You're absolutely right. And I can't believe I haven't. I mean, even I have. Next time we go to New York, maybe I should try it. Because they have them in New York City, right, bro? Yeah, yeah. All over the place, man. They're like...
Everywhere. They're like little tiny burgers. Yeah, they're like really small, yeah. Do they make good fries? The fries are almost equivalent to McDonald's, but McDonald's still tops. I mean, everybody blows them out of the water. P1 Turtle says, if we want to know what White Castle fries are, it's basically Del Taco fries. She says, same thing. Not that same style. Okay. Yeah, it doesn't blow me away. Who has the worst fries? If you're talking In-N-Out, who has the worst? I really despise the way Burger King does their fries. I was just going to say that, too. I don't like the way. There's some weird way they do it, and I don't like it. I agree with that. Taste, texture, everything about it. Fry is important. Yeah. It's all American. I would love to one day go to England and have fish and chips. That would be great. They're really good. Vinegar. I had a french fry in Amsterdam. You did? A french fry? Well, no, I ordered, it was, I guess, basically the only thing that I even ate in Amsterdam because everything else I didn't even really think was food. The rest of the time was just brothels and pot for me. Ha, burgers and pot. They call it quarter pounders or royale with cheese. You know that, Mike? Yeah, because of the metric system. No, don't start. They don't have that stuff. Royale with cheese. Don't start. And they dip their fries in mayonnaise. No. Yeah.
They smother it in that stuff. Zed is dead, baby. Yeah, that's really popular. That's like all I ate. Who's Zed? You know, you can go to a movie theater and have a beer. Really? Yeah. What about foot massage? That's a whole different story, man. Foot massage made a prisoner. Let's see. Letterman shaved that beard off, which is weird because I thought he was keeping it until the strike was over. Yeah, I don't know what was up with that. I don't know why I thought that, but I did. So he shaved it off last night live on TV. Not live, but he shaved it off on TV last night. Yeah. You guys ready for Fight Club the musical? Oh, yeah. Can't wait. They're thinking about it. No? They're thinking about doing Fight Club the musical. Wow, that's weird. You think that's a bad idea? That's just odd. You don't think it's very masculine to sing and fight? I do not. No.
I think Beat It taught us that. Never seen West Side Story. It's a great one. In Tennessee, there was a burglar. And they caught the burglar because the burglar left their driver's license in the door. It was a chick. Not very smart. Whoops. She was trying to burglarize. Stuck her driver's license. You know how you do the trick where you put it in the door and you slide it and you open the door that way? Yeah. She did that and her license broke and she left. Karma. There was a picture of her. Easy defense. It's the parents. Easy defense. Go ahead, Eddie. Earlier that day, I had my wallet stolen. And so whoever did that probably stole my license. That's a good one. No. Did you do fingerprints? Yeah, my fingerprints are all over my license. Fingerprints are on the part that broke off that you kept. Well, yeah. Yeah. I think that's a deal. It wasn't me. I was nowhere there. You're off the hook. Not guilty. Thanks. Obama's Secret Service protection has been upped because he won in Iowa and now he's more popular. That's probably smart. Yeah, he's had heavy, well I shouldn't say heavy, but he's had Secret Service protection pretty much since the beginning because they were scared about racial threats and everything. But since his success is growing, his Secret Service protection is up to about a dozen guys.
Anytime he goes to events, they bring through bomb-sniffing dogs. Anybody worry about that guy if he gets elected president? Him and Hillary. Me and my husband were talking about that last night. Hillary, yeah, but specifically Barack. If he goes to the South because there's racists. I mean, we couldn't even have the Catholic guy as our president without the assassination. A different race or a different gender. If it's different, there's always going to be hate. I agree. Dr. Drew has spoken on behalf of Jessica Sierra. Oh, good. Someone needed to. He pretty much got her out of jail time. He did? Yeah. He testified on her behalf saying that this girl doesn't need jail time. She needs treatment. How did he get that? How did he get that to happen? Because she was on his show or something? No, I think he's doing this whole celebrity rehab thing. She was on it, right? I don't know. Was she on it? I think I saw previews of her. So that's probably how he knows her. So the judge basically let her off with probation and a year in his facility. Yeah, three years probation and treatment. But the judge did say that if she relapses or gets in trouble again, straight to prison. Well, he also said...
that she is not allowed to be on TV for that year. She can't go and promote the fact that she's in recovery and glamorize it and all that stuff. Totally. A couple of cool things. One is that Nestle and American Idol are going to get together and do a bracket competition for American Idol, kind of like March Madness. Wow. Yeah, it sounds pretty cool. So they say that once Idol gets down to the 24 finalists, basically when you buy yourself a Nestle product, you'll get a certain code starting February the 14th, and then you enter the code into a website, and then it allows you to pick who's going to get eliminated in what order, and the grand prize is a million dollars if you pick everything correctly. Is that as... See, the thing that I don't understand about it is that in the tournament, the March Madness tournament, you're picking one team against another team. But in American Idol, it's not like the singers are going up against a particular singer. So how would you do it?
It's probably not brackets. They're saying that because that's how people think of March Madness. But it's probably like, this person will go out 10th. This person will go out 9th. Which is next to impossible because there's always that Chris Daughtry factor where somebody goes out way earlier than they should or way later like Sanjaya. Doesn't matter. I'm still doing it. I'm going to get a Leslie thing. I want to win. Mariah Carey says that she'd rather sing with a pig. Than Jennifer Lopez. Holy. Oh my gosh. She basically would be. Oh wow. Wait. Jennifer Lopez is pregnant. What are you talking about? She's not a pig.
She's expecting a child. Robert. That is mean of Mariah to say. Yeah, she was asked if she would ever do a duet with Jennifer Lopez, and her quote is, I'd rather be on stage with a pig. A duet with Jennifer Lopez and me just ain't gonna happen. Wait, the haterade. Right? Wow. Who knew? That's awesome. Michael Vick is going to Leavenworth. We've all heard of Leavenworth. Now, I heard that he might get out early. Well, the reason why he's transferring there is because he's going to enter this drug treatment program in prison. Because remember, he was busted for pot when he was on probation and all that stuff. I love weed. So they're sending him to Leavenworth, which has this drug program that will help him also be released early if he does it all good. finishes the program. So if he does that, he could potentially play football in 09 for a team. Lucky. Yeah. Yeah, I wonder what the other inmates in that drug treatment program are going to think of him in there for pot. You know what I mean? Do you think that they'll be mad? Because some of them might be in there for pot. Well, I mean, maybe if they're using it as like an excuse to, you know, get your sentence reduced. Any one of those prisoners could be doing the same thing. Hey, I'm on pot.
Maybe. Any one of those prisoners could be a huge Michael Vick fan. Or Michael... Well said. Yeah, yeah. In which they'd want him to be released so he could go play football. I didn't think of that. Thank you. Did she just say... Save the emails. None of us did. Sean. I don't know. You can save the emails. Okay. Seth went out and bought that book I was telling him about. Oh. He's scared, she's scared. About people that have... Intimacy issues. So, Seth, did you read any of it? Yeah, I got about 30 pages in. Nice. You get laid yet? All right. Wow. Wow. Wow. I don't know. That's not what the book's about. The book's about... Did you get to the chapter about fart jokes? All right. No, that's chapter four. You should read that one up. So, Seth, so far, what do you think? Does any of it apply to you? Pretty much every word that I've read so far.
I'm telling you, this issue of people that have fear of intimacy, it affects a lot of people. It really does. Because you said things are getting pretty serious. Yeah, I'm scared. When Zeth says, yeah, yeah, yeah. When somebody says to Zeth, hey, Zeth, look at that girl. Pretty hot, right? And Zeth goes, eh. Whenever you say, whenever you notice a girl that's pretty good looking and you say to your friend that's single, what do you think? And they go, eh. Gay. Gay. Yeah. For sure. But then after that, if you cancel that one out though. Not in this case, but. Intimacy issues. Yeah, not in this case. In this case, gay. In this case, gay. I am not gay. But in some people's case. Right. Fear of intimacy. Celine Dion has admitted to using drugs and alcohol in her past. Oh, Celine. I used to do that bump. Cocaine. Cheese wet. Cheese wet. A real fresh one. In her defense, she said one time she... Real sweet. A little toot. One time she, quote, puffed marijuana while she was in Holland. She was in Holland, so it was legal. But the puffing. Puff, puff, give. Yes. Puff.
I hop for the cheese whiz. You hop cheese whiz? Cheese whiz. Probably shouldn't be singing that. My new album is called it. Oh, is it? It's called Puff Puff Give. Cheese. It is. Cheese whiz. I recorded it with my husband, Jean-René. Oh, really? This is his name, right? Jean-René? What about René Charles? That is my son. You love him. I love Renee Charles. I know you do. I love Renee Charles. He smoked a wee with me. Wait, he did? He's just a little boy. But he loves it. He laughs. No. I mean, that's not safe. Well, that's a side effect. Very long hair. That's true. Yeah. Very long hair. Very pretty. Soft. Renee Charles. You love him. I love him. Love. I need you. Sing about it. Okay. No. No. No. No. No. No.
and Alicia Keys are going to be bridesmaids at Kanye's wedding. That sounds just like Rob's. Right? That's weird. Yeah, they say Jay-Z, John Legend, and Pharrell have agreed to be groomsmen, and it'll all take place in this big castle in Italy. Well, I mean, who amongst us can't say that? Well, we can all relate. That's crazy! Rob, what were you saying? Rob had something he was talking about his wedding. What was it? What? Rob's getting married. He asked his girlfriend to marry him. Now he's got a fiance. What were you saying? Well, my girl's... Well, I don't know if I want to... Because it's stuff that my girl's been kind of deciding on. What is going on? Plans and stuff like that. And is it wrong to talk about? Between like bridesmaids and maids of honor. Well, what's the gist? The gist is whether she has one or two. One or two what? I don't know. Maids of honor.
Now, that's like a best man for the women, right? Yeah. What's the issue? Well, traditionally, you only have one. You have a best man, and you have a maid of honor. Right. She's thinking about having two maids of honor. Now, does the maids of honor wear a different dress than the other chicks? No, they don't have to. Sometimes. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they do. Because if they're not, if they wear the same thing, it doesn't even look strange. Like, no one would even know, really, right? Except for you'd have, like, two toes on each side. You know what I mean? And would that be weird? That's good for her. Skye would love that. I have no problem. She would have like 22 maids of honor. I mean, people who are traditionalists. Skye would have a problem with something. I know what her problem would be. I don't have a problem at all. I know what Skye's problem would be. What? Her problem would be. I have a problem. Her problem would be. Yeah. sharing bridesmaid duties with another person. You would want to be the only one to give the bridesmaid toast and some of your thunder would be taken away. I've been in that exact situation. You didn't like it? No, I loved it actually.
There's no way in the world. It means limelight is taken away. You don't get to be there. No, for Michelle's wedding. Jodi and myself were both. You didn't like being up sharing bridesmaids duties with Jodi. No, I loved sharing bridesmaid duties with Jodi. I thought it was great. You make up friends? It's a very stressful day. You don't know someone named Jodi? I do. It was a very stressful day. And it's great to have two people. taken charge. She did not like it. I loved it. When Michelle said that she was going to be sharing it, she's like, okay, great. I didn't like that. No way. No, I thought it was great. Why? Ashley and Skye are cut out of the same mold. They like the attention on them, so when they had to share it... Oh, opposite. See, let me ask. I know you'll like them. I love them. We get it. Because I know Michelle's like your best friend. Michelle's a real person. Jodi's made up. Jodi is not made up. Skye made her up as a friend. She doesn't have any. And so I'm comparing, like, I would say, like, I know I have a lot of really close friends, but if, like, one of my friends who considers me her best friend, and then she had someone else, too, I'd be, like, kind of jealous. I'd kind of be kind of bummed out. Not in a mean way, but I'd just kind of be like, oh. I totally see what you're saying, but at the time, I was living in the Bay Area, and Jodi and Michelle were way tight, so it made sense. You know, we were both her best friends. Yeah, that's different. Skye even has a fake number in her cell phone for someone named...
Jody. Jody, you stop it. 5-5-5 friend. Shut up. Stop it. I think it's a neat idea, Rob. Thanks, Ski. Yeah. But Rob doesn't like it. Why not? Whoa, I didn't say that. Yeah, you did. You don't speak for him. Whoa, hey, hold on. Now he's putting stuff in my mouth. He hates it. He hates that idea. Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob. Stand up to him. Hypothetically, what opposition would you have to it? Well, he wants one best man, Mike. Why can't you? Hold on. Eddie has an agenda here. What do you mean? He has an agenda. Excuse me. You say excuse. Excuse. Oh, no. If you have one best man and you have grooms, okay, so she's got two bridesmaids and four. No, two maids of honor. Two maids of honor and four bridesmaids. It's a total of six people. Yeah. So you've got your best man and five groomsmen. Perfect. Works out. What about the toast? The toast two chicks give, and on the man side, the best man gives a toast. Better be good enough to top both chicks. I mean, honestly, would you think that, Rob? If she went two, I got no problem because I got two brothers. That'd be perfect. You know what I mean? Yeah, but we're getting rid of them. Eddie, you're just trying to steal the gig. Wait, what do you mean? No, I'm staying out of this. I'm just saying. Let him speak. It's traditional. One best man, one maid of honor, done.
And we don't have to worry about picking... So who's Rob's best man? Well, you don't want to pick one of the brothers. Yeah, Rob, have you decided on a best man? It's still being talked about, Mike. Things are up in the air, but I mean... Yeah, okay, that's fine. Is it Eddie? All I want you to remember is how much I've been there for you. Oh, whoa. Oh, no. Go ahead. Choose your best man. Whatever. Oh, no. I got locked up. Wow. And he says he's got it locked up, Mike. All right. I'm not sweating, man. But if he had two, then the both of you. Then the both of you. See, I don't even need to put pressure on him. That's fine. That's fine. We'll see what happens next contract. But you know what, dude? But you know what, dude? Now I'm getting nervous. But you know what, dude? Now I'm really sweating. No, no, no, no. Do what your heart tells you. Do what your heart tells you. No, I gave you that job, but do what your heart tells you. Keep my job? Oh, no. I put you in that seat, but you know what? Do whatever your heart is. It's a nice seat, Mike. Follow your heart. No, Mike. It's a nice seat. Rob, I know people with the Red Sox will make you the dugout manager in Boston. But then I'd have to leave you guys. I don't want to do that. I'll go with you. I'll be your assistant. Don't be the bad boy. Permanent bad boy. Last night were the Critics' Choice Awards. Oh, finally.
Tonight are the People's Choice Awards. Skye's got to be in on both of us. Skye loves awards. Yeah, I'm mad. How did I not know the Critics' Choice Awards? What is that? Skye, why do you like award shows? She does love awards. I love to see celebrities dressed up. I love to see celebrities interact without a script. You know what I mean? I want to see if they're really goofy or if they're all serious and snobby. If they're like Sean Penn and they can't take a joke. I love to see that stuff. So the critics did an award show. Mm-hmm. Who were the big winners? Let's see. Best Picture went to No Country for Old Men. Oh, I want to see that. I heard it's real good. Oh, yeah, I heard it's great. In fact, Clint said, he's like, dude, I don't want to blow it up too much for you, but I think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Whoa. Yeah. That is blowing it up. Mm-hmm. Let's see. Best Actor, Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood. Oh. Cut 64. Sean's gone. I would like to say thank you to the critics. Wow. That was great. What else? Best Actress went to Julie Christie in Away From Her. Never heard of it. One of my favorites. I've never heard of it. It's a good one. It's a gorgeous film. I've never heard the name Julie Christie in my life. What do you mean? I've never heard it. Come on. And Best Comedy went to Juno. There you go.
And the writers, like, don't have, you know, the strike. The writer's strike didn't affect that, so all the celebs showed up. And Brad and Angelina were late and weren't allowed in until during a commercial break. Good, they're people. Yep. Some rules. La, la, la. Hannah Montana has boots that she sells, you know? Boots. Boots. And she's got her own line of boots. And they're being recalled. They're a trip hazard. Yes. Keep me away from those. Every boot that Ashley owns is a trip hazard. Everything that I put on me is a trip hazard. On her feet is a trip hazard. So yeah, they were jewel encrusted boots that had little guitar shaped zippers and the zippers can get caught in each other and basically like getting your shoelaces tied together and you fall and eat it. Crazy. Yeah, so recall. We got to go. Thank goodness. 570-1053, give us a call. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment so you can call about anything you want. Real good. P1 Carol. Hey, Mikey. I have a legitimate question for B-Rob. Go ahead.
It's about his wedding day. I was just wondering, so is his fiance wearing high heels or is B-Wab wearing high heels? Legitimate question. That's a legitimate question. That's going to be so awkward. That is a legitimate question. Five, eight and a quarter. Why is that going to be better? How tall is your lady? She's like five foot four. Perfect. Hey, love you, Joe. Thank you. I think he has the numbers reversed. I think so, yeah. Oh, goodness. Mikey Show. Mike said it. I didn't say it. Oh, no. Hello? Why are you saying stuff? Hello? Yes, go ahead. Hi, this is P1 Reuben. Go ahead, Reuben. Yeah, I just had a question. Love your sandwich. Thank you. Go ahead, Reuben. Are you watching American Gladiators, a new one? I haven't seen it, but I haven't seen it. Who's, Ash, you thought, anybody else see it? I have a TV, but I haven't watched it. I saw half of it. Pretty good one, man. Big Country got beat out by the Mongoose last night.
Yeah, dude. Awesome. How does it work? How does American Gladiators work? You didn't watch it back in the day? Yeah, it's just like the one back in the day, but it's... You got the Gladiators, which back in the day was like Nitro and Ice and all these different, you know... They're not celebs, right? No, they're just like big, athletic, you know, gladiators. And they battle usually, you know, like the contestants. And they have different events. There was one that was where you climb, like a rock climbing thing, and the gladiator chases you and tries to pull you down. There was one where you're in these giant orbs, which was my favorite event, and they try to run you over and stuff like that. Now, I see a problem already. What? I have an issue already. I've never seen it, but I have an issue. What? I'm like, well, who can beat a big muscle-bound gladiator? They do. All the time. You get athletic people in the country, man. Last night. And then they get points. Is it because the gladiator's like kind of giving up? No, not at all. I mean, you get athletes in there and you can, you know, out quick them or, you know, out point them. Yeah, it's like a computer software dude who runs triathlons. And you never get the impression that the gladiator's kind of giving up. No. No. Hell no. They want to win. They want to win. They do. Because the way it works is it's two competitors against each other and they get points and then at the end they go up against each other. Yeah. You know what I mean? Right. The gladiators don't care. The joust.
Forget about it. Yeah, the ratings are actually pretty good. Last night was so good. 12 million tuned in. What network? On Sunday night. And me? On ABC. It's good. Thank you. I'll watch it. My wife loved it back in the day. Mikey Show. Mikey? Mm-hmm. This is P1 Fritz. I was doing a question for Eddie. Go ahead. Yeah, and week 10, Eddie picked the Colts to beat the Chargers. I was wondering if he's going to be making the same mistake twice. Eddie. Wow. I will hold. My prediction until Friday. Friday, we'll find out. I like it. Friday, we'll find out. Mikey Show. Hey, guys. What's happening? What's up? I got a question for Eddie myself. I was wondering if you knew when Deadwood was starting back up. Deadwood is officially done. Done? They're done after a while? They are done, but there is talk about bringing back Deadwood mini-movies, like two-hour specials. And do a couple of those. But as far as the series goes, it's over. Here's a clip from the show. Pretty much. Oh, I remember that episode. That was a good one. I love that. Great clip. Great clip. All right, guys. Thanks a lot. Have a good one. Thank you. Mikey Show. Yeah, I was calling to talk about the Michael Vick thing. Go ahead. You're the last call. Bring us home. All right. You brought up the whole what if these.
inmates were pie users. What about if one of the inmates was a dog lover? I didn't even think of that. What if there's somebody in there who's like real mad at what he did? I didn't even think of that. Rabble rouser. Puggle, muggle, muggle. Lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. On the show today, she has a little bit of your all-request lunch, so you call in, tell her what you want, she'll play it for you. Let's make an appointment to be back together tomorrow morning at 5.30 and do it all over again. Mikey shows out late.
