The show's centerpiece was a Chargers pep rally where Boston Rob, dressed as a Steeler, hung from a crane as Eddie, Ashley, listeners and a television reporter hit him for prizes. Stephen Cooper then argued that the Chargers could beat Pittsburgh by stopping the run, pressuring the quarterback and avoiding mental mistakes, while the hosts also broke the news that Trevor Hoffman was leaving the Padres for Milwaukee. Away from sports, Mikey confessed to abandoning foul-tasting antibiotics, Ashley disclosed her fourth date with Ryan Loco, and the crew told the remarkable story of Lava, a dog rescued in Iraq who later helped catch burglars. The sharpest studio argument concerned a husband secretly giving his ex-wife a Christmas present: Mikey emphasized loyalty and his current wife's feelings, while Sky saw a respectful gesture toward the mother of his children.
What happened, in order
The Bread-Wrapped Antibiotic
Mikey admitted he quit his antibiotics early because he found each pill so foul that he painstakingly wrapped it in warmed, flattened bread before swallowing it.
The Zamboni Millionaire
Twenty-four-year-old Pacific Beach resident and Zamboni driver Todd Moitz won a $47 million Mega Millions jackpot and chose a $33 million cash payout.
Ashley and Ryan Loco
After the hosts teased Ashley about Ryan Loco, she revealed that their sushi outing was their fourth date and said they were very compatible.
Lava Pays It Back
A lieutenant colonel's rescued Iraq puppy Lava later introduced him to his wife and alerted him to car burglars, whom police caught after a chase.
Boston Rob the Human Piñata
Boston Rob was hoisted from a crane in Steelers gear while Eddie, Ashley, listeners and a TV reporter struck him with a piñata stick to knock loose prizes at a Chargers rally.
Stephen Cooper's Pittsburgh Plan
Chargers linebacker Stephen Cooper told the rally that San Diego had to stop Pittsburgh's run, pressure the quarterback and play fast, physical football without mental errors.
Food Network in Tent City
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Phoenix inmates who complained about cheap meals were given the Food Network, officially to learn cooking but implicitly to show them what they were missing.
The Secret Gift to an Ex
The hosts debated whether a husband crossed a line by secretly buying his ex-wife a Christmas gift, with Mikey stressing the secrecy and hurt feelings while Sky defended the gesture toward the mother of his children.
Trevor Hoffman Leaves San Diego
The show reacted with disbelief to the news that longtime Padres closer Trevor Hoffman had agreed to join the Milwaukee Brewers.
Tone-Deaf Karaoke
Callers tried to identify songs mangled by Ashley in tone-deaf karaoke, including tracks by the Killers, Mariah Carey and Men at Work.
The Panda Fights Back
The hosts recounted how Beijing Zoo panda Zhu Zhu attacked trespassers, including a drunken tourist who climbed in for a hug and bit the panda back after being bitten.

the program. It is 6-0-6. Last summer, Silver Strand Beach in Coronado was one of the last places to drink at the beach. That won't be true this summer with the state banning booze there till the end of September. LT confirmed yesterday that he does in fact have a torn tendon in his groin and lists himself as doubtful for the Chargers game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Doubtful? Yeah. I mean, dude, if that same injury happened to me somehow, I would list myself as doubtful till 0-12. That is very scary. Not good. Not good. Let's see. Today is piñata day, folks. That's right. Awesome. Today is piñata day. We're going to have the news down here in an hour. 7 a.m., we are inviting all listeners to come down here. That is right, Hank Bauer. We're inviting all listeners to come down here, and this is going to be a...
Take out your aggression on the Steelers slash charger pep rally. Yucko. I'm dealing with some issues. I feel you. I'm dealing with some issues. You want a Ricola? I got some. You got some Ricola. Yeah, that would help. Yes, please. Odors, can you get me some of that? Can you get me some of that sweet tea? Some of that throat coat? Yes, please. I am. I got some antibiotics yesterday. Oh, did you? Yes, I did. We were at that point. Well. Or a preemptive strike. No, we were. Ah, you guys are going to think I'm a moron. And I am. Idiots. You know when you got to tell something to your parents and you know they're just going to get mad at you.
I'm asking my parents to be a safe treat. The tree we're all sitting in together right now is safe. So I feel safe with you guys. I broke the cardinal rule. I did not finish taking my antibiotics. And the reason that I didn't is because it was so laborious to stick the antibiotics in pieces of bread. And take them that way. It was difficult, too. Why do you have to take them that way? I got these antibiotics. Yeah. And they were the filthiest thing I've ever put in my mouth. That's gross. When I was little, you know, and I would be sick, my mom would take a big tablespoon. And she would put a white bufferin, aspirin. You know, bufferin, the brand bufferin. She put a white aspirin in the spoon.
Then she would take a wooden tortilla roller and with the handle part of it, she would crush it up into a powder. Well, that's gross. Crush it. And then she would put it under the sink and she'd put a little bit of water in it so it was a white, watery thing. And then she would give it to me to take orally. What have you got in your mouth? And it was really awful. Awful. You know, just think of the most bitter, chemically, kind of medicine-y taste that you can imagine, right? Okay. This antibiotic that I was recently taking was a hundred times worse than that. It wasn't a pill? It was in a white pill form. A chewable? No, it was not chewable. Why didn't you just swallow it? What's that? Why didn't you just swallow it? I did. I did. I put it in my mouth and I drank it down with water. And I'm telling you, just it being on my tongue and going down the hatch, I've never experienced this with antibiotics. Ever. Never. It probably had like no coating or anything like that. So, yeah, it was powder is going to come off on your on your tongue and down your throat. And I know what Sean's saying, because, you know, some pills that you take, they've kind of got a glossiness to them. This one didn't. This one did not have the glossiness and it was so filthy. It. Oh, guy. It's an antibiotic. It's the opposite of filthy. I'll tell you why it was worse than when I was a kid.
Is because when I was a kid, that taste would go away. With this thing, it was not going away. And so this is what I did. I had to take it twice a day. So this is what I did. And I had to do this in my brother's house. I went into his refrigerator and he had bread, you know, to make sandwiches. And I took a piece of bread out and I put it in the microwave for like 10 seconds because cold was, well, that's ridiculous, you know. cold. That would be ridiculous. So I warmed the bread just the slightest bit and then I pulled off a piece and I flattened it in my palms rubbing my two hands together and flattening out the little piece of bread. Then I put the antibiotic pill in it and I rolled it in there like a little cigar. Like a little burrito. Like a little burrito. And I pinched the ends off of it, and then I formed it with my fingers. I formed it around the pill. Yeah. And then I put it in my mouth, and the first couple of times I was like, I couldn't get it down. It was wrapped in bread. I couldn't swallow it. But I got my technique down eventually, and I was able to.
Make the bread very thin and wrap it around in just such a way, but it was very time-consuming. Very laborious. Very laborious to take the pill in this way. You're like a cat. Yes. Well, eventually what I did was I just got a large piece of hollowed-out bamboo, and I put it in my mouth, and I had my wife blow it down into my throat. Anyway, it was so... Thank you, Zeth. It was so labor intensive that I stopped doing it. You know, I had like four, five pills left and I stopped doing it. But this cough has not gone away. You know, this cough is staying with me. And so no chaser worked. No chaser. What do you mean? Like, you know, you take the pill and you drink like orange juice afterwards so that you get the taste. Oh, dude, no way. I tried everything. I tried. Well, when I say that, that was a. That was not a very accurate and true statement. I tried everything. I probably tried two things before I said, this is so foul. What did you try? Root beer. Tried root beer because I thought, you know, that's carbonated. That'll probably just wash it all away, you know. The little bubblies will wash it right away. It didn't. And then the other thing I tried, I think, was some sort of juice. Pomegranate. That would be good. That would help. It's the new cranberry.
That would be really good. I wouldn't end the old cranberry. You need a chalky kind of milky. Like calpico? That would be great. Salted milk? A little mint? You guys, warm yogurt? It was so bad that even just thinking about it, I feel like I'm getting phantom powder in my tongue. So this time, did you ask for a different kind of antibiotic? Seriously, I did. And let me tell you, Sky, I honestly feel that I, I'm a doctor and that I can prescribe my own medication. Okay, this is interesting. You know, I know what works for me. And I also, man, it was so frustrating trying to explain to my mother how people get sick. Because she said, oh, man, it just, even thinking about it right now. Very frustrating. And, you know, some of you will get this and some of you will be like, nope, she's right. My mom said, you know, because her and my dad got really sick. Coughing, bronchitis, the whole thing.
And I've had this conversation with her multiple times, and I had it again. She said, yeah, you know, I think part of the reason is, you know, it was so cold in Phoenix, you know, and then we were coming home, it was so cold. I said, Mom, the temperature does not get you sick. It sure does. It has something to do with it. It's not the cause for it, Mike, but germs can last longer outside the body the colder it is. So that means that you're more susceptible to get it because like in the summer, a germ will be out of your body and it'll die. I say to that. In fact, I've never heard that before. That's a fact. I read that. But hearing that, that makes total sense. Yeah. But what doesn't make sense is put a sweater on. You're going to catch a cold. No, no, no, no. If you don't want to catch a cold, put gloves on. What about climate change? No. This is with your body. What about altitude?
No. No. I said, Mom. That is true. I said, I'm going to tell you precisely how you got it. I said, somebody that was sick rubbed their eyes or nose. And then they touched something that you touched very quickly afterwards and then at some point rubbed your nose or eyes. And then you were sick. And she goes, oh. And what that means is. You don't get it. That's not true. No. Because it's cold outside. And the actual temperature, what it does is the temperature makes you chilled and then you start to cough and get sick. Can't convince her. 570-1053 is our phone number. And there are seven people on the show. It's me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, who I can't see. I don't know what's up with that. What? He was just up there. What's up with that? Come take a look. Come take a look. Sean is our sound effects guy who's not actually here in the building. He's in San Francisco in a big high-rise downtown San Francisco. Hi, Sean. There he is. There's Sean. Now I can see him. And we see him on a camera. And we got new cameras, by the way, so we're going to be able to see better. Nice. And then there is Ashley, and she's our assistant producer. And then there is Rob, Boston Rob, and he's going to be the human pinata today. Yes.
And then there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. I seen on TV. All right, Sherry's Jubilee, and that's it. That's right. That is it. His name is Zeth. And your phone calls, 570-1053 is our number. Call us. Our text number is 35253. And if you are the type of person that is too shy to call. I got to start saying if you're too bashful. I got to start saying that. You can always call our answering machine. 858-715-1923. This guy that won the lottery, he put himself on TV, man. This guy that won the lottery from PB. He's putting himself on television. It's everywhere. Yeah. And we were watching a little report on it this morning. Eddie, you're going to just love this. In a real in Del Mar Heights Road and downtown at 10th Avenue and F Street. The Pacific Beach resident who bought the winning lottery ticket worth $47 million out of 7-Eleven has come forward. Finally, meet 24-year-old Todd Moyes. I have the privilege to present Todd with a check from the California Lottery.
For $47 million. Wowee zowie. Moits moved to Pacific Beach. Get this from New Jersey only six months ago. He says he's been playing Mega Millions twice a week since he moved here. The lot of winners have been working two jobs, not anymore, as a farmer's insurance agent as well as a Zamboni driver at the Mira Mesa ice rink. Moits bought the winning ticket on Friday at the 7-Eleven on Cass Street. That's near Loring Street in Pacific Beach. He says he picked random numbers. A 24-year-old, he says he doesn't know what he's going to do with his money yet, although he says he will be sharing the money with his family. I've only held this much money in, it's been what, three days, four days? I've been so overwhelmed and so excited. I haven't really given it much serious thought yet. I'm just enjoying this moment right now. He says he also has not made any major decisions regarding his jobs just yet.
Lottery officials say Todd has chosen to collect his prize in a $33 million cash lump sum. That's so funny, Marianne. What wonder if he'll celebrate on a Zamboni today. I knew he looked for me. I've seen him driving a Zamboni around at the rink at Mira Mesa. I heard he's going to go back home and buy New Jersey now. Congratulations, young man. All righty. Let's see. Weather. It's a tough story to follow, isn't it, man? A little dream, I think, in most of us. Why is it tough? Why is everyone giggling? Why is everyone giggling? Well, you know, Marianne was even giggling there a little bit, and I guess it's because, you know, right towards the end of the story, they were showing him holding up the big check, and then they cut to a shot of the 7-Eleven owners that sold him the ticket who were dressed in business suits. Well, no, they weren't in business suits. I thought they were in suits. I thought they were wearing suits. They were dressed nicely, but they also had some traditional garb on. Yes, you must mean the turbans. Yes, they did. They were wearing turbans with their business suits. And that struck, well, not just Marianne as a little bit humorous, but me as well.
And, you know, I was watching it and I went, oh, hey, well, look at that there. You don't see that one every day, you know. And, you know, and Marianne, a little giggle. And then you've heard the weatherman there say, that's a tough one to follow, isn't it? Visual on that one. And when you see Kuldeep, it's like... That's right. The first time you see him, it's like... How do we know? Kuldeep was the guy that worked at 7-Eleven that Sean became lifelong friends with. He actually doesn't work there anymore. Where did he move to? Where did he move to? Oddly enough, he said he was moving to New Jersey. New Jersey. That's the irony. That's right. No irony, but there you go. 5-7-0. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can give us a call. P1 T-Rex, he's a Hall of Famer, is on the line. Hi, T-Rex. Hey, how are you guys today? Good, man. Hey, first question. Are you guys doing any type of CD signing for the new Sweet Berry Wine CD? Yes, we are. Yes, we are. And our promotion department is working out details on that.
Not as we speak. As we speak, they're probably sleeping. But very soon, they will be working out details on that when they get to work. Sweet. Sweetberry Wine! By the way, Sweetberry Wine, available at MikeyShow.com, our best of CD, all proceeds going to Rady's Children's Hospital. And T-Rex, are you coming down here? Oh, you know, I don't really want to take any... swats at my boy Rob. Oh, come on. Oh, please. Two words. Puh-lease. Thank you. Listen up, dude. Eddie, I heard that you're going to be a big papa. That's right. Very true. Congratulations. Thanks, man. Hey, when I heard the news, I was like, oh my gosh, I was so excited. I almost felt like I was having a nephew. It's really cool, man, because all the stuff that you associate with you know, the gifts and all that stuff, I'm like, I'm going to be getting, you know, what I would definitely consider my nephew. I mean, Eddie and I are like brothers. I'm like, I'm going to be getting a new little nephew, new little stuff. Awesome. Or niece. Or niece. We don't know. We don't know. See, I've resigned to boy. I don't know why. No, I'm still on the girl kick. I was really feeling girl and now I'm resigned to guy. He's going to have a girl. Really? Yeah.
Eddie, are you hearing more or less or something? You know, it's really split 50-50 from what people are saying. It's a trip. Well, you just find out already. And you don't have a thought. How dare you? They're going to wait. They're going to wait until the baby's born. I know. This was my firstborn. I waited to basically when she was born. And we didn't even have a name picked out. I had all my friends come up to the hospital. And they helped us pick out a name. And then one of my best friends came up with my daughter's name, Tiffany. There you go. That was cool. That's really cool, Eddie. I'm so excited for you. Right on, brother. Hey, we'll see you down here in a few minutes, T-Rex. You got it, man. Have fun. All right. We're down at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. That's the address of the radio station. If you are on your way to work and you can stop by, here's how you do it. 15, get off on Arrow, and head west. And when you get to Daly Center, which is about two lights up, take a left.
and then take your first right onto our street, Granite Ridge. You'll see us on the right-hand side. It's a big building that says Clear Channel, and we're in the back up top. We're going to have a big crane. You'll see this big crane up there. I can't wait. We're going to hoist Boston Rob, all dressed in a bunch of Pittsburgh Steeler garb. We're going to hoist him up onto a crane, and we're going to turn him into a human piñata. Not the button I wanted to press. I'm going to light him up. Oh, my. Oh, my. I mean, legally taking a bath to you is like a dream come true. It's pretty nice, isn't it? I'm going to. Well, you know, you're done. You're done. You're done. Oh, really? Yeah. It's on. You're making it worse for yourself. I can't wait to see when all the prizes spill out. That's right.
It's going to be awesome. And his guts. Wait, not his guts. Prizes is what I'm looking for. He's going to be a human pinata, so you hit him and prizes fall out. It's going to be great. It's going to be awesome. And a lot of people are wondering, well, what's the deal? It's because a couple things. First of all, he said earlier in the week, I will be against the Chaggies. Yeah, I will be against the Chaggies. And then there was the article. How dare he? How dare he? There was the article that came out of the Pittsburgh Gazette earlier in the week saying that the Chargers don't have a chance, and basically Pittsburgh's already looking forward to the next game. And so if that irritated you as much as it irritated us, and you would like the entire city of San Diego to see you on the news voicing that opinion, then come down here this morning, 7 o'clock, outback of the radio station. At the Outback. While it be done. That's right. Yeah, we'll be in the back of the radio station and the news will be here. Wear your charger stuff and get seen on TV. It's going to be as seen on TV. It's going to be awesome. Text number 35253. This one says, hey, Mikey, have someone use a slingshot for the antibiotics next time. You're welcome. That's P1 Merlin.
Mikey, what is throat coat? I've had a cough for two weeks and will try anything right now. Thanks, P1 Berg. Throat coat is a tea and it's an herbal tea. I used it during the 28-hour show and it worked like a champ. Like a champ. It really does coat your throat and allows you to stop coughing and talk. It's really good. And I've been sounding like Peter Brady the last few days, so it's good. Mikey, the reason why you get sick in the cold is because oftentimes the sun isn't out to use the UV rays to kill the bacteria more effectively. P1 doctor. Makes sense to me. I like it. So at nighttime, it's more bacteria? Rob. I wonder if that's true. Don't be that way. It's not possible. I would say no because they're not going to die in the cold weather. So making it colder isn't going to change anything. It's cold. Cold is cold. Zero plus zero equals zero. Correct?
I don't know what you're saying. Mikey. Mikey, ask Sky where she heard about the germs. Lies.com. Germs don't last longer in the cold. It's the opposite. That's why they keep operating. That's why they keep operating rooms so cold. Bacteria usually multiplies in the heat unless it reaches its boiling point. I read that last year. I read that last year. Did you read it on day.com? No, it was like CNN or something. You are the worst. Hey, listen, you convinced me. It sounded good to me. Well, why do you refrigerate food then? Son of a... Sky, if you were wrong about this, I'm going to be so mad because you got me. You're the worst. I read it. I swear. You are a fount of misinformation. You read it on PerezHelton.com. I dare you, young lady. That's right. 570-1053 is our phone number from the yesterday emails. It says that Ashley yesterday went home and took a nap, then went on a dinner date to sushi with Ryan Loco. Yes.
It was ridiculous. I didn't mean to write his name. Oh. Well, it just sounds so silly when you read it. I'm simply reading from... Ah, good old Ryan Loco, huh? I'm simply reading from the yesterday email. How was it? Is his last name really Loco? That can't be true. Well, Ashley's not sure. I am sure. I can see it on her face. But I don't know if I'm allowed to say. His real name? Well, don't say his real name. All you have to say is no, that's not his real name. Locomotive. I don't, it's not his real name, but that's what he like calls himself like on everything, his business card and everything. It really says Ryan Loco. Yeah. There you go. It's like everything is Ryan Loco. Yeah. He's Mexican. Yeah. So, you know, ties in. It ties in. Yes. Are you in love with him? Yes. Yes, I am. How did you know? How did you figure it out? Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. I'm asking questions here. They're a loco. Rolls right off the tongue. Sounds good to me. It's nice to meet you, Ashley Loco. You are? By the way, I'm Mexican. Does anyone want to know anything about this? What's going on in the personal life? Is anybody interested in what's happening here? Uh-huh. Eddie just shaked his head. Yeah, I'm good.
This guy's trying to find out if germs multiply. All right, fine. I'll bite. What is going on? With what? You put it in there. You put it in there. Get out of here with that. I didn't realize. No, he's my friend. We're hanging out. Are you ruling out anything? Like what? Why do you lie, liar? Did you get that music that I told Sean to send the other day? Did you get that? Yeah. Where's that one? It's under the themes page. That's what I really want. No. Let me give you some different... I have the perfect music for this. I think so. I have the perfect music for this. You're just friends, right? You're just friends. Right now, you and Ryan Loco are friends. Say that. Yes, you can say that. Yeah, well, last night was our fourth date. Yeah. And did it go well? Of course. Is he in love with you? What? Is he in love with you? What the hell? Okay, well, I just, I want to know, what is going on? Are you guys, is this? Fourth date. Fourth date. That's usually love, right? That's a love date. It's when you move in. Yes. Well, that's cool. Is he a nice person? Nice guy? He is a great guy.
That's why I said, of course. We have a really good time together. We're very compatible. That's good. He's loco. He's loco. He's totally loco. None of you guys have questions. I feel like I'm the only one asking anything here. We should just move on then. She told me all about it yesterday. I heard about it on Tuesday. I knew last week. So sorry, Mike. Well, her and I just met this week. Now, I know a little bit, but I thought just for the benefit of the radio listeners, we could all get together. I don't know what I'm allowed to ask. I don't know what's the deal. Why is everyone looking at me? How comfortable are you? How'd you meet? How do you know this guy? We met in Vegas when we went there. You did? Yeah. Oh, I thought you knew him before that.
I did. This guy works for a MMA company. Yeah. So they, like, hung out when we were in Vegas for the UFC thing. And I did know him. I've known of him, like, seen him around at, like, stuff, like, with Total Combat back when I used to work for them. But the first time you guys actually met was in Vegas. Yes. Oh, wow. Like, actually, like, met, talked, hung out. That's cool. Well, hello. Have you guys kissed? Now that is a question right there. That is a far out question. Eddie says, listen, I'll take the bull by the horns. I was prompted to ask questions. I'm here to follow the... Are you in love? Stop it. Let's see. This text message says... It was their fourth date, you know. So that automatically means... Well, I would think... No. Tap it? I think on the first date... I'm pregnant. I think on the first date you can go, well, maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Second date, you're like, oh, I mean, it would be a long shot, but maybe they didn't. Third date, of course they did. It would just be rude by the third date. It's creepy.
Let's see. You on birth control or are you sticking with Connie? Mikey, did Zeth get a ride from his roommate this morning? That's P1 Repo, man. You know it. All right, cool. A great roommate. That's right. She's the best. She raised him. She's a great roommate. She takes an interest in his life. That's right. P1 Rude Dog. Hey, Mikey, aren't you guys actually Niner fans? That's P1 Kios. Yeah, sure, I'm a Niner fan. Eddie's a Niner fan. I don't know that anybody else on the show is, although a lot of us grew up in the Bay Area. But Eddie grew up there. I grew up there. And so, yeah, that was my first love, the 49ers. So I still have a very warm place in my heart for them. Mikey, try a humidifier with a couple of drops of... Tea tree oil added to the water. Oh, yeah. That'll definitely help. Get all over that. That'll help. Cleared my kids' coughs right up. That's P1 waters. That's good stuff. I've never heard of tea tree oil. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's good. Is it good stuff? Dude, the crane is here. Oh, my. The crane that's going to hoist up Boston Rob? It's gigantic. Yes. If you're listening right now, get down here. A little stretch. Sky, are you going to take a whack at this guy?
Dude, there's prices in there. What can I say? I love the kid, but man, I like me some free stuff. Free t-shirts. I don't think she's getting a prize. Oh, look at me. The one challenge I won. I always bring it up. Never forget. 5701053. It's about 9-11, bro. It was a volleyball challenge. What? 570-1053 is our phone number. Today on the show, the big thing is the big pinata. We got Boston Rob out there. And he's going to become a human pinata dressed as a Pittsburgh Steeler. And we're going to let you whack away at him for prizes. And it's all going to be on the news and on TV. The TV stations are coming down here. And so 7 o'clock this morning. You got it right now. Get down here. Start getting down here. San Diego Charger Stephen Cooper is going to be on the show this morning. Cooper? Coop. That's right. And let's see. We're going to be doing a little tone-deaf karaoke for some... Please stop. That was her Jim Moore impression. Also, we're going to be reading you an email that's going to force you to ask yourself, is that appropriate? Is that appropriate? I don't like that question.
And we're also going to be doing a little Sean TV. Sean will be introducing us to some... Oh, yeah. Right in your face. Oh, my God. I don't know what that meant. Stephen Wright in the Stand-Up Spotlight. Stand-Up Spotlight 5-3. Middle of the desert, a UFO landed. Three one-inch tall guys got out. They walked over to me. They said, are you really one-inch tall? They said, no, we're really very far away. My friend George walked his dog all at once. It's in the Fort Lauderdale. With Mikey. I like fish tanks. Eddie. They all can't be winners. Sky. I rarely pump my own gas. Sean. I do not wear sloughs. Boston Rob. Today, I'm not Boston Rob. I'm B-Rob the Majestical. Oh, I like it. Oh, okay. Did you say you changed it to B-Rob the Testical? And Ashley. What do you think? I am an idiot over here? Mikey's show's on. Rock 105.3. I will cheat, man. Did his 6-44. The Dark Knight and Carrie Underwood were the big winners last night at the People's Choice Awards. Eric Mangini wasn't out of work for long. He was hired as the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns. So it's a done deal, huh? Done deal. Four-year deal. There it is. Mikey, please inform listeners that germs spread best in moderate to high humidity. That's P1 Simply the Best. Scott, did you find anything on that?
I found a couple different things talking about winter, how people are in closer proximity, so they're more likely to share germs. Also, that in the cold, dry weather, that germs spread more in dry weather. It's easier for them to spread, but I was not able to find anything to back up what I believed I had read last year. Mikey tells Sky that hams come from cows. Shut up! I'm sorry. I swear I read that. I swear I read that. And this last text. I even told my family that. You are the worst. Well, I was already thinking, I'm going to tell my family that after you told me. 35253 is our text number. This text says, Mikey, who does Eddie have picked for the national championship? Oklahoma, or Florida. And why? That's P1 Sooner fan. In the studio with us right now, delivering my fantasy football championship. Oh, look at that. Championship. He bought it. How dare you. Wow. How dare you. Is Russell Microsoft from upstairs, who's now the boss of the salespeople upstairs. And he is a big Florida fan. Probably the biggest Florida fan I know. His whole office decorated in Florida garb. So today is a big day for you. Yes, very big.
Eddie, what do you think will happen tonight? Well, I think Oklahoma's going to beat the crap out of Florida. I'm sorry, Russell. Do you really, Eddie? Yeah, I really do. I think the Sooners are going to win big. I said on my blog, 44-28. Wow. Why, Eddie? They have a really, really good offense. I think that they're just a better football team. I don't even think Florida deserves to be in the national championship game, to be honest with you. Why? You know, there's a lot of one-loss teams that were eligible to be in that slot, and I thought Texas deserved to be there over both those teams, to be honest with you. Russell, talk to me. How do you see this game tonight? Well, everybody looks, just to kind of backtrack a little bit, everybody looks at Florida's one loss as Ole Miss at home by one. Embarrassing. A blocked extra point. Terrible loss. A blocked extra point. And, hey, we lost. I get it. We lost. Yeah. That same Ole Miss team spanked Texas Tech, who beat Texas, who beat Oklahoma. So I'm just saying. So do the math. I'm just saying.
Yeah, exactly. It's the BCS. There does need to be a playoff. Enjoy the BCS for that. Give me a final score prediction, Russell. I think it's going to be a little closer, a lot more closer than Eddie thinks it is, of course. And I would say it's probably going to be somewhere around 35-28. Oh, you just jinxed him. 35-28. Florida. Florida. Thank you. Gay tours. There it is. Is Tebow is, uh, their quarterback. Yeah. All right. Is he going to be a good, uh, professional football player? You think Eddie? I don't really think so. No, no name a lot. I mean, he's a, he's a really good college quarterback cause he runs the football really well. And, um, you know, it does, he does some good things, but he just doesn't have an NFL quality arm and that kind of thing. If they run that wildcat, I think he could fit somehow in that. Yeah. Somebody's running the wildcat. Somebody will, somebody will give him a shot. Uh, LaDainian Tomlinson did confirm it yesterday. He's got a torn tendon in his groin. It hurts so bad. You know, the worst about that is he can't move at all. Like if you move, it hurts. You know, if you've got some kind of broken finger, you just kind of keep your hand away from hitting stuff or try not to move it. But how do you not move your groin? You're going to move it.
It hurts getting dressed. Yeah, it does. It would hurt doing anything. It hurt going to the bathroom. Anything you do would hurt. It would hurt to do your Richard Simmons squats. Sweating to the oldies. Sweating to the oldies. So do you think his season is done, you think, Eddie? That's a good question. He's definitely not going to play on Sunday. If we somehow win that football game and go on to the AFC Championship game, He may try and give it a go. You know, he was able to play for, you know, a couple series in this last game. And so, you know, with this amount of rest, I mean, it's obviously not going to heal a tear, but it may, the pain may go away a little bit and he may try to give it a go. But, you know, most likely, yeah, I would say he's probably going. And that's not an injury you can, like, shoot up or numb or anything. You can try. You can try. You can try. Oh, dude. I mean. Well, here's the deal. The charger fever is obviously taking off. It's rabid. That's right. And if you would like to catch it, get down here in your charger gear. Come on. About 10 minutes. Come down here and be on the news. And what we're going to do is we're going to, they're doing it right now, by the way. They're putting Rob in special padding. They're dressing him up in Pittsburgh Steelers stuff. And they're going to hoist him up on a crane and let all of you folks come down here and take a whack at him.
Now you go. So get down here. And yeah, it's going to last a little bit. So get down here. Get on TV. Wear your charger gear. Do we stop once the prizes start spilling out? Or do we just keep going for fun? Oh, we're just going. We're going for it. We're going to go for it. I bet that sounds like fun. I bet it does too. We got charger t-shirts. We got best of CDs. Autograph stuff. Yeah, a lot of autograph stuff. And so it's going to be really great. Our phone number is 570. One oh five three. Our text number three five two five three. Sky, what is the deal with the what's the current status of the arrest that they made? There was a woman that was killed that was pregnant. She was driving on the five and somebody pulled over.
Got her purse and took off with it. And they made an arrest of a couple. Right, Skye? Yeah, it was a couple. Witnesses saw a couple and described the car and actually wrote down the license plate of the car. And that's what led the police to this Carlsbad couple and arrested them. So the guy was in court yesterday and while leaving the courthouse started saying how he's innocent. Cut 60. The purse was picked up and dropped off outside the vehicle? So he's claiming that the purse was kind of thrown from the car. They pulled over to pick it up and then dropped it off right near the vehicle. Oh, they just wanted to move it a couple of feet. They're good Samaritans. So has someone found the purse? No. That's the thing. That's the tricky thing. That's the tricky part. Some other invisible person must have snuck it in and off with it.
So he's currently out on $20,000 bail and claims that he is innocent and just a good Samaritan. So I wonder how difficult that will be to prosecute if you don't have the, if he doesn't have the stuff on him. They have eyewitnesses that gave their license plate number and saw them take the purse and then drive off north on the 5. The witnesses didn't see them stop and drop the purse back off. So once that goes to a jury, I don't think this guy really has a chance. And also, apparently a lieutenant colonel has a dog. that he saved in Iraq. Is that right? Uh-huh, yeah. It was just a little puppy in Iraq, and he found her in an oil barrel. Oh. Yeah, and she basically would have died if he wouldn't have saved her. Now, we did some checking into it. This is not Brian Dennis. Brian Dennis, the guy that we talked to in Iraq, that brought Nubs back. Yeah. Nubs was the dog that he befriended out there when he was in Iraq and took care of and nursed back to life.
This is different. This is a different one. This doggy's name is Lava. Lava. And he found Lava in what? In an oil barrel in Fallujah. And so what's the deal now? Well, took Lava home. And, you know, he believes that Lava has kind of been paying him back karmically. He met his wife through Lava at a dog park when Lava ran up to his now current wife. And then just the other night, Lava stopped some burglars from breaking into a car outside their house. What? Yeah, cut 59. And he started making a low growling noise. I guess he heard the van pull up. No way. And alerted him. And so the dude ran out, chased the car down, jumped in his car, chased the car, called 911, and the police were able to get these fools and arrest them. You gotta be kidding me. What a crazy story. Dogs are so much better than cats. Why would you state the obvious? Why would you state the obvious?
570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. We are located at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. And your opportunity to come down here and cheer on your San Diego Chargers is now. And when I got it back, I couldn't find an insurance company that would even take me. Yeah, it's great. I went down to the Escondido office, got everything all squared away. Were they cool to you? Oh, dude, they're awesome, dude. With another visit from Dr. Phil. Oh, hey guys, it's Dr. Phil calling in. How are y'all? Hey, why are you calling in, Dr. Phil? You know, I gotta say, I admire Paris' new commitment to leading a more peaceful life. I have to say that. Is that right? Well, it reminds me a lot of a nursery rhyme that my old Aunt Jemima used to tell me. Aunt Jemima, normal. And the nursery rhyme went like this. There once was a girl with long blonde hair, and she was a girl who wore no underwear. Oh, no. She was a girl that made all the girls scared, and she had lots of boyfriends, which made Lindsay Lohan hate her stupid, filthy good. Okay. Really pretty. Yeah. Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. Pretty much every news crew in town is out back right now. So awesome. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, and we're hoisting Boston Rob up onto a crane. It is 7 a.m. 24-year-old Todd Boyce of PB was revealed yesterday as the winner of the Mega Millions $47 million jackpot. Oh, poor Pac-Man Jones. These just aren't working out for him. The Cowboys have released him. Really? Dude, what was that? He was back for two games? Well... Apparently, there are some new allegations that stem back from when Pac-Man was suspended that he had arranged for somebody to get shot. Are you kidding me? That's what these allegations are. Obviously, nothing's happened yet. Cowboys are finally like, okay, we're good. It took that. The other stuff, we're willing to work with. The other stuff that involved guns going off. were willing to work with. But this particular one, you know. It's our final straw. Dang. He was only back for like a couple of games. And I remember we were saying like, boy, this guy, he must be good in order for them to keep bringing him back this way. Well, I bet you the Cincinnati Bengals are chomping at the bit. Of course. Absolutely, yeah. They're like, let me have him. Please. That's who we want. We want to find felons. Before we went to break, I said that Carrie Underwood has a new boyfriend.
Who is the new boyfriend? A hockey player. His name is Mike Fisher, and he plays for the Ottawa Senators. Really? Now, it had been rumored that they had been dating for a little while, but recently at Ottawa's game against Toronto, Carrie was put on the hug cam. You know how they do that on, like, the big screen? Right. And she was in a VIP box with all of his family and hugging all the family, and then a couple days later was seen having a spa day with his sister. And when he was asked about it, when Mike Fisher was asked about it, during, you know, like a sports interview, he said that he can't comment on his personal life. Oh, is that right? Oh, of course. Then I guess we're not going to get anything wrong. Oh, the phone. Oh, dude. Oh, is that Harry? Hi. Hello, dude. It's Harry, guys. Over here, child. A beanbag? Hello. People chose the word last night. Oh, you looked beautiful last night, Carrie. I love the word.
Oh, my goodness. Thank you. I'm still wearing the same dress. You look beautiful. Thank you, Harry Kane. Harry Kane, I really love the Lord. What about you, Teddy Ockfisher? Ockfisher? Yeah, he's the coach of the Tennessee Titans. No. He's got a mullet. No, he is. You could grow a mullet, too, Carrie Underwood. His name's Mike. Yeah, but I could. You could grow back like the one you had before Idol. That's right, I am. I'm right here. I'm beating a hockey player. That's what I heard. I'm going to tell you something right now. What's that? If he cheats on me, I'll carve my name into the side of his face with his cape. Oh, my God. That's not how the song goes, Terry. You know, I'm just an old country, girl. That's true. That's true, Terry. That's allowed. You make boot shots, too. No. Hey, Terry, I do. Hey, Terry, what are you doing? Even you won't watch a boyfriend on TV. That's a joke. Hockey's boring. It is.
What's the deal with hockey being so boring? I don't know, Harry. I guess you ought to be there. I want to drive a Zamboni. That's right. I just want the lottery to drive one. Yeah. That's what I heard. That's a true statement. What's that, Harry? I'm just going to make Tony Romo so jealous. Oh, don't. I'm that guy, I did. I think I finally won a way to steal him back, Harry Carey. From who? From Jason Witten. Oh, my God. Those two are bad. Are they hard? Yeah, that's true. I'm so mad at Jason Witten. Yeah, right. Why'd you keep your hands on the ball and off my man? Oh, my God. What happened to you, man? Yeah, Carrie, I thought you were over Tony Romo. Hey, Carol Underwood. You know who you should think? J.R. Ewing. He's so rich and powerful. Of course he wears a cowboy hat and that's always funny. It's true. I think he played center for the Knicks, too. I don't think that's true. That was Patrick. I beg your pardon? Who said that? That was Zed. Who said? He's the kid who works here. Hey, kid. Hello? Hey, kid. Is this on? Yeah.
Oh, hi, Karen. I just chilled here in my Snuggie. I went with the royal blue. Good call. It's the best call. Do you have a new boyfriend? I haven't heard. Tell the stuff. Is that right? Yeah. I'm not going to let this one get away, though. You know why? I'll tell. I have a new rule. What's that? He's not allowed within 100 yards of any blonde with bigger breasts than me. Oh, my God. That's a good rule, actually. Smart carry. Oh, carry Underwood. You don't need those rules to keep your bad. You're sweeter than a pack of Twizzlers in an old-fashioned candy store. You're welcome. Nice, Harry. Harry, I love my new boyfriend because he treats me so much better than Tony Romo. Is that true? Why are you crying, Carrie Underwood? I take it back, Tony. I miss you so much. You're so much better than me. I left you 47 messages last night.
There's too many. Tony, if you listen, I'm going to make your favorite dish for you. What's that? Sliders. You like sliders? Sliders. I know you love sliders. Those that taste so good, Karen, in the way. I bet Jessica Simpson's hate sliders. I actually heard that, too. Why do you hate such a tiny little burger? That's a very good question, Karen. What does he ever do to her? Absolutely. That is weird. I gotta tell you, I lied earlier. I love going to hockey games. You do? Yeah, they got the best hot dogs. Really? I remember one time I bought 12 hot dogs because they look so good. I could only eat two, though. Why? I still laugh about that. Why is it so funny? How did I think I could eat 12 hot dogs? Oh, man, that's funny. Hey. Hey. Hey. What? Harry? Harry Underwood. Did you just call me? Yeah, I did. Hi, what's up? I just wanted to tell you that if Mike Fisher and I get married... Who's Mike Fisher? Mike Fisher's the guy I'm dating. Oh, I'm sorry. Harry, listen up. I'm sorry. If we get married, will you walk me down the aisle, Harry Carey? Of course I would care. I'd want anything for you. Dressed like a hot dog?
What? Yes, Carrie, if that's what you want. It is. That's sweet. Carrie, if Mike Fisher and I get married, will you kill Tony Romo? I can't ask that, Carrie. That's a leak. Yeah, please. Not if you're drunk, it's not. I have not heard that, Carrie. It's legal, man. That's not right. Are you a dude trying to get care of the world? Oh, gosh. I know, I can smell it. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Real quick, guess what? Hockey's a tough sport. It is? Yeah, I once bit a man's earlobed off. He stayed in front of the goalie. Later I found out that guy was just a goalie. That's his job. I gotta tell you, I love Ottawa. Oh, yeah? Yeah, Ottawa's a great city. Ottawa is an Indian word that means too many corn dogs. I don't think it's true. That's a true statement. I'm sorry. My bad. Hey, hey, Kane. Yuck, yuck. Can I get in your snaggy review? I love it. Oh, no, I dropped the remote. 105.3. Let me tell you about BMW. Yes, that's right.
BMW Encinitas. It's the greatest. And if you go down there right now, you're going to find yourself some great deals going on at BMW Encinitas. In fact, at BMW Encinitas, which is a 25-minute drive from pretty much anywhere you are in San Diego, you go down there and you're going to find some great deals, including the BMW 1 Series, which is a newer car, and it's an introductory BMW. which means it starts about $28,000. Pretty cool. Now, they also, just to let you know, have a very big variety of certified pre-owned models. They call them CPOs, and they're down there. You can see them at bmwencinitas.com. Just go to bmwencinitas.com, click the CPO box on the homepage, and hit search. It's that easy. Or you can call them, 888-215-7288 and plan your next visit to the showroom. But I'm telling you, BMW Encinitas is the bomb. They're on Encinitas Boulevard between the 5 and El Camino Real. It's the only, I'm telling you, it is the only BMW dealership in San Diego that you should be going to.

We have officially moved to the back of the radio station.
Austin Robb is being interviewed right now wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. He's about to be hooked on. He's harnessed. He's harnessed, and he's going to be hoisted up here in just a second. It is 7-14. Well, the city has jumped on the Charger bandwagon yesterday, hanging huge signs of support outside City Hall and the County Administration Center. This is fantastic. We have P1s out here. Right now, decked out in their charger gear, and we want to get you out here, man. If you're listening right now, it doesn't even matter if you have your charger stuff on. Just stop by and back at the station. You'll see all the news crews, and you'll see the P1s that are standing out here that are ready for Boston Rob to be hoisted. What do you guys think of this? It's a pretty amazing sight, the crane. Awesome. Show us your lightning bolts. That's right. That's right. B-Rob is being interviewed right now by news crews. And we are about to put him in. He's got a harness on to just describe a little bit what he looks like. That's the actual audio of him getting interviewed. Here, let's listen in to the interview. See if we can hear it. Yeah, so I was just asking Boston Rob if he's ever been beaten for anything.
and he's telling me he's been beaten several times before. Thank you, Boston's Finest. And you don't care to elaborate on that at all? Oh, no. And that was all when I was much younger. In your crazy days of youth? Yeah, in my hectic days of the early 20s. We all go through it. We all do go through that. We all do. All right, so this weekend you're just watching football. You're not really waiting for it. Yeah, I wonder what that is. Yeah, this weekend I won't be booing for any team. I'll be booing for a lot of teams. And I'll be hoping that Tom Brady is making a speedy recovery. Now, LT has a groin injury. One of the things that she doesn't know, and maybe the news crews don't know, is that Boston Rob has actually cheered against the Chargers. He's cheered against them. He's a jerk. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ben Roethlisberger's helmet won't fit anymore? Yeah, he has had so many concussions, but his helmet won't fit anymore. Get him off. Did you know that? I think that's crazy, and I've always wondered how they got a helmet on Peyton Manning because he has such a big forehead. So maybe they can call Peyton Manning's coach or helmet fitter, and maybe they can find one. How many people can he insult? I know it.
He's got to be setting a record. Cool, thank you. I'm very nervous. I'm very scared of heights. So this isn't going to be good for me. Okay, good luck. Thank you. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. That is the address. That is the address. That's where we are. And we want you to get down here. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. And, you know, see this take place. Boston Rob is... Let me just describe this. He's wearing... I'm guessing just really, really gigantic. It's probably the exact same workout pants I used to wear in terms of size. And they have padding. And then he's wearing padding up top. And he's got on a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. Then he's all strapped in. We couldn't get a more relevant one than Terry Bradshaw. I know it. I know it. That's how we roll, Eddie. That's right. And he's got on. He's got on a, like, what is that, a hockey helmet or something? Is that what he's going to be wearing? Take care of your head by wearing your helmet. I have a microphone, Eddie. Thank you very much. Wow, he's a professional. You're a professional. And so he's wearing a harness. We're going to attach him to the harness, and we're going to raise him up via a rope I'm seeing. I'm seeing a rope. Just a rope. I have a question. Wait, wait, wait.
Jay, let me talk to you for a second here, Jay. So it looks like you're going to tie him onto the harness with a rope. We're actually going to clip him in with a carabiner. Okay. And that is a climbing rope. Mike is just Mexican. Yeah, you don't have to call me Rachel. And so, Jay, you know how to do some sort of special knot that will keep him attached to that. Yeah, I call it the granny. Nice. He's going to tie him in the granny and he's going to hoist him up. News crew's out here and we are also, and we got a bunch of P1s and we're waiting for all P1s to come down here. We're sending out the P1 call. Come on. There you go. There's the audience of people that are here and we are sending out A call to everybody in the P1 Army. If you're a Mikey Show listener, you're in the P1 Army. And so we're telling you, we want you here on the news, making noise. Get down to the back of 9660 Granite Ridge Drive at the radio station. That's where we're at. Go in the back of the station and go up top. You'll see the crane. You'll see the news crews. And you'll see what we're doing out here. And there's lots of prizes attached to Rob there. By the way, show us your lightning bolts. That's right.
Boston Rob, are you nervous? Wicked nervous, dude. Yeah. I don't want to get hoisted up on that. piece of twine that they got over there. Yeah, it is. I mean, it literally is like a piece of climbing rope. Hopefully someone went to the Boy Scouts and learned how to tie a knot. I hope so, too. Yeah. It's going to be Jay that's going to be doing that, so we'll put it down. That would be awesome. Should we take a break, come back and do this? Yeah, that sounds good. All right. Let's take a quick time out. Oh, my gosh. And when we come back, we're going to hoist Boston Rob. Clown. Get down here. We're at the radio station right now, behind the radio station. Ashley's coming up right now. She doesn't know whether she should walk under the train. And we will be back to begin the bashing. It's Rock 105.3. This is the Mikey Show. Thanks, dude. The Mikey Show. With a Mikey moment. Norv Turner, the head coach for the San Diego Chargers on the line. Norv, I'm going to be honest. This is not going to be the easiest interview in terms of the questions. What just happened with Vincent Jackson? What was your response? to hearing about Vincent Jackson. How did you find out? You know, the first thing, unfortunately, when something like this happens, you're obviously disappointed, and I don't know what the final outcome's going to be. Obviously, Vincent issued a statement and feels that there will be no charges. What you have to do is let the legal process run its course, and then obviously there's disappointment.
There's the other side of it. When you have a team like this, I've been a father for 26 years, and I know Vincent, and I know the type of person he is, and if he's made a mistake, he made a mistake putting himself in this position, you know, we're going to help him handle it. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. Let's hear some Charger spirit from the P1s that have come out here. Ladies and gentlemen, if you can hear my voice, we are calling upon you to come down to the radio station and meet us out back. We have all the news crews here right now, and we have people, P1s, pouring in here. They all want to be a part of this thing and get their faces on the news. If you want to be on the news and you want to cheer on the Chargers, come down here right now. We have Boston Rob strapped in.
And in our next break, we're going to be hoisting him up. In fact, some of this will be seen on live TV on Fox here in just a bit. We're going to be doing a cut in with Fox in just a little bit. And we're going to be doing some cut ins with all the different TV stations. So get down here and get ready. Eddie is he wants first whack, man. Yeah, I feel like I should test this thing out. I'm going to hit him right in the Heinz ward. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Wow. I don't know what that is. He's going to hit him right in the Roethlisberger. Okay. You know what we're saying? Yeah. You get what we're talking about? And if you want to watch this, it's all being webcast. That's right. Go to MikeyShow.com and check it out on the website. And then pretty much every news station is down here right now filming what we're about to do. Yeah, he does. Like a clown. Ridiculous. He looks like a total and complete clown. We haven't started yet, Eddie. Come on. We have him miked. Eddie, you can hear, is taking little wax, like gentle love wax at his head. You hear that? That's his head. We haven't started yet. He's wearing a catcher's mask and Eddie is taking little wax at his head. Take care of your hand by wearing your helmet. Two sizes too small.
Eddie, Eddie, remind people, why are we doing this? A couple reasons. Number one, because Boston Rob is cheering against the Chargers. Okay, right there. And for two, we've got to show our support to the San Diego Chargers, baby! That's right, so we've turned it into two things. Take out your aggression on Boston Rob and the Pittsburgh Steelers. And also turn it into a Charger rally. And so come on down here and check it out. Get yourself into the camera shot and what we're doing. Now, Eddie wants to test it. Calm down, Eddie. Eddie wants to test it. And so we will be testing it here in just a second. He's not up yet, Eddie. That was very close. Boston Rob. Boston Rob, are you getting nervous? Yeah. Well, I am too because as I look above your head. It's like a string. Yeah, I see you tied to what appears to be a shoestring. I hope they tied it at the top. I know it's not at the bottom. Yeah, I know. Jay, our promotion director, has him tied. Oh, Eddie. Look at the knot. It's like a bow. It's just like a regular knot. It's like a bow.
I hope that what we're saying right now is not going to be played on the news later and have them be like... Someone should go up there and hold the other end. Oh, no, we're good. Today, a couple of local TJs attempted to pull a shot that did not exactly go well. I'm Tom Brokaw. Today in San Diego, while attempting to show spirit for the San Diego Chargers, somebody was very seriously injured. Well, certainly his pride has already been injured. This is the stupidest outfit I've ever seen in my life. It is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. It's really funny. And I know right now, internally, Boston Rob has got to be thinking. How is it that Zeph is the lowest man on the totem pole and I'm doing this stunt? That's a good point. Are you thinking that? What do you think that's about? Bud, he's a Chargers fan, so I get it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think it makes sense. Eddie just randomly. Eddie just randomly. I love it. As Rob is talking, will whap him in the face with this big, giant, humiliating pink piñata stick.
Let me tell you about some of the things that people can win. Now, that's a reason for you to get down here and show your Charger spirit. Barbecues Galore has brought down some very cool Barbecues Galore gift baskets. They're also giving away a grill out here this morning, and they have it. So thank you to Barbecues Galore for doing that. We have an Eric Weddle signed official NFL Wilson football that we're going to be giving away. Awesome. We have all kinds of cool movies that we're going to be giving away. We have one of the seasons of Scrubs on DVD. We have Best of the Mikey Show CDs that we're going to be giving away out here. And we've also got San Diego Chargers Rock 105 T-shirts to give away. And so those are here. We're going to be giving all that away. some awesome CDs. We got stained CDs, Avenged Sevenfold Seether. We got all kinds of cool CDs out here that we're going to be giving away, plus all the typical Rock 105.3 swag, including the Rock 105.3. Show us your lightning bolt placards that you can take to the game if you happen to go out to Pittsburgh. Eddie is dying to test this thing. So let's go ahead and let Eddie take a whack. Eddie, are you ready? Eddie, you ready?
Oh, the news is describing right now exactly what Boston Rob is going to be doing. Eddie, get out of the shot. Look at him. Eddie's jumping in the background right now. He's talking to Channel 6 right now. Oh, no. Okay. He's getting rocked right now. Oh, no. He's getting rocked right now. Okay. I'm nervous. Yes. Donkey out of a river, you know? Oh, that must feel good. A puppet. He's a puppet. Well, the harness goes around his cross. I feel real comfy right now for him. That's good. That is awesome. Oh, gosh. Oh, prizes. There are prizes all over him. Eddie, wait a second. It's not your turn yet. Sean, Eddie is dying to beat the crap out of this show. I see him. I'm watching online. It's really funny. Yeah, MikeyShow.com, keyword pinata. There's a live web streaming of this going on right now. Rob is straight up hoisted in a freaking hoisting.
It's called a harness. Harness. Why is he swinging like that? I hope he doesn't get motion sickness. I'm going to throw up. No. I have to go number one. Okay. Stop it. Okay. Okay. This is so weird. Okay. Okay. Eddie. Eddie. Whatever prizes Eddie hits off, don't count. They'll put them back on if he wants. Eddie, remember what Rob said the other day about the Chargers? Remember all that, Eddie? Yeah. Eddie is winning a lot of prizes. Eddie is letting it fly. What we're going to have to do is reconnect the prizes and let listeners do this. This is the dumbest looking thing I've ever seen.
Doesn't he look like when you pull a donkey out of a river with a harness? Yes. The way they strap it off. Hey, watch out for the cameraman. Why is Rob pretending to run? Doesn't he know it's not going to help you? That feels so good. Oh, if you want, you're going to love this. If you want to see one of the... Dumbest radio stunt you've ever seen. Thank you. Walk down to the radio station right now. And it's being webcast. This is a spectacle, dude. It's a spectacle. It's a spectacle. Get down here. We're in the back of the radio station. Oh, my gosh. And we're going to be doing this. To show our support for the Chargers and to take out some aggression. That's okay. You don't need those. Come on, Ashley. You got to do it. Anytime. Tell me when. Right now. Get it, girl. Ashley's going to take a whack at Boston Rock. Well, it's no secret they've had their issues in the past. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God.
This isn't a real quinceanera. My goodness. I think she knocked off every single thing. That's too much, lady. That was amazing. Somebody get that girl a boyfriend. Let me tell you. She's got some pent-up aggression is what I'm saying. Wow. That was the best thing I've ever done in my life. Okay, calm down. Calm down. Rob. That was awesome. Rob, how are you feeling, man? What? Are you okay? I can't feel my arms anymore. You can't feel your arms anymore? That'll happen. Wow. That's okay. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine. You don't need those anyway. You make a good point. He said that about the Titanic. I know. He's fine. We're all fine. I don't know. Their faces are blue. Well, this is what we're going to do. We're going to take a break. When we come back.
We will let listeners go at it. You listeners are going to get to go at it and win some prizes when we come back. The human pinata begins after this break. Don't go anywhere. Get down here. You still have a few minutes to get down here and win these prizes and get on TV. It's The Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. Hey, Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. I just want to say I love this show. And Shauna, our program director, is on the line. Are you there, Shauna?
I'm here. What did you just get? I got a beautiful BMW X5. But what about the experience? It was probably one of the easiest times I've ever purchased a car. Really? Literally, between going there, test driving it, dealing with the financing, had to be less than an hour. Can I explain something to you? This is not because she works here. Because I have talked to people that have gone in and done the exact same thing Shauna did, and their experience is identical to Shauna's. What made the difference for you? Because I know that you were looking at other cars. Why the BMW? What clinched the deal for us was the BMW service. The four-year, all maintenance, taken care of, no worries.
You got to go down to BMW Encinitas. Thank you, Shauna, for letting everybody know. I appreciate that. No problem. Thank you. BMW Encinitas, Encinitas Boulevard, between El Camino Real and the 5. Eddie. We don't care. We love it. Boys the men rule. Sky. If I ever have a work-related nightmare, I am a waitress. Sean, I floss a minimum of three times a day. It takes a lot of thought to look this poor. And Ashley. Am I having this stupidity over here? No, just on a Rock 105.3. All right, P1s, make some noise out here in the back of the radio station. That's right. We got a bunch of crazy P1s that have come down here to support what we're doing this morning. It is our human piñata.
It is our takeout aggressions on Pittsburgh. It is our San Diego Chargers pep rally is basically what we're doing out here. And the scene is nuts. Oh, yeah. It's also we hate Boston Rob. Oh, yeah, that too. I forgot about that one. You can basically, if you're at home right now, you can basically turn it on any channel on the news, on TV, and they will be doing live cut-ins with us because all the news crews are out here to see this. And Boston Rob is wearing padding. And Pittsburgh Steeler garb. And he is tied into a harness that is attached to a crane. And we're going to raise him. We're going to raise him up on a crane. We're going to raise him up on a crane. And we're going to let people take wax at him. And we got a bunch of P1s out here that want to win prizes. And if you're within reach of the radio station.
Get down here if you'd like to win some of these prizes. Thank you to Barbecues Galore for throwing in a little grill that we're going to be giving away. Awesome. Thank you to the San Diego Chargers because we've got an autographed Eric Weddle football that we have here that we're going to be giving away. By the way, within moments, Eddie, we're going to be talking to San Diego Charger Stephen Cooper on the phone. While we're doing all this, Coop will be on. We've got prize packs that have been put together by Barbecues Galore. We've got T-shirts for the Chargers. We've got movies to give away. We've got our best FCD to give away. So we've got all kinds of stuff out here. And, Eddie, you have randomly selected a listener. He won 300. What up? 300, are you ready to take out some aggression? Yeah, it's over for him. You're wearing your Charger jersey. You've got your piñata stick in your hand. Well, he's wearing his Igor Olshansky jersey, so this will be the hardest somebody's got hit by that jersey. Wow. Wow. Why was that necessary? Why was that necessary? Oh, man. Oh, man. We are getting all the prizes strapped onto Boston Robbins. This is the way it works. He's got little buttons that have been secured to his body. And as he gets whacked by this pinata stick. Yeah.
They will fall off. And what falls off is what P1-300 is going to win. That's awesome. And so, Boston, Rob, how are you feeling? Sweaty. Yeah, sweaty? Sweaty. Oh, I can relate. Lots of layers. You're fine. Ashley, you can relate to that. He'll be okay. All right, so let's get this crane up. Let's raise him up on this crane. Come on, 300. Don't hold that. You're about to hear this thing get fired up. That is the sound of the crane firing up, and he is about. He's about four feet off the ground right now. Look at this. So funny. You really got to whale him to have it work. And there goes the first one. There goes the second one. Nice. Oh, this is delicious. Oh, yes. A couple of things came flying off. Eddie, were you kind of swinging them around there? Yeah, I get to be the swing man, which is awesome. Awesome. Okay, it is. But, you know, he's so short, he's the right size, you know. Exactly. Perfect little piñata. Yeah, yeah, we got another. Yeah, let's ask, what did he win? Come on, over 300. 300, what'd you win? Yeah, he's got a couple things there. Oh, wow. We got a shirt. Ooh, Charger shirt. Another shirt. Two Charger shirts. Shiloh CD. The best of CD.
Another Shiloh CD. Rob is just swinging in the wind. So if you want to win prizes, get down here. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. What is your name, sir? B-1-1's P-2's Poo. There you go. And you're going to be taking a swing here, aren't you? You're going to be taking a swing. You look like a big strap and kid. How tall are you? Six foot three. You ready to do this? Yeah, he's got on a Boston Red Sox hat. He's got the pinata stick in his hand. Let's let him take a swing. Eddie, start swinging our pinata. That's so stupid. Hey, Mike. Wow. Nice. That's a good one. Okay, very nice. Great. Great job. Great job. Come here, buddy. Come here, buddy. Let's go ahead and have you pick up a couple of your prizes and let's see what you won. Let's see what you won. Watch out for Rob. When he took a whack there, man, like four prizes came flying. He used my strategy. What was your strategy? To just will the heck. out of him. Okay, that's a good strategy. He says that was for you, Ashley. Thank you. What do you got? Just act like it's a mob hit. Very nice, buddy. Very nice. So we got a guy in an Eric Weddle jersey, and he's dying for that Eric Weddle football. Oh, he wants the Eric Weddle football. Hey, Mikey. All right, we got another guy. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Who's calling?
We have Stephen Cooper on the inside line. Oh, yes. Oh, you won the grill, too. You won the grill, bro. Nice. Let's hear it for him. You won the grill. Hey, let's go ahead and hit the line. Let's hit the line, Seth. All right. Here he is. Stephen Cooper, are you there? Yes, sir. How you doing? I'm good, man. What's going on? Hey, let's make some noise here. P1's for Stephen Cooper. Make some noise. They're cheering for you, brother. We got a pep rally going on. I don't know if you're within sight of a television, Coop. But if you are, turn it on any news channel because we got the news out here. We're doing a Charger rally, and people are fired up for you. What's the vibe been like around Charger camp? A lot of excitement just to come from where we came from through a rough season to get to where we're at now. Our guys are really excited to have the opportunity to play for a Super Bowl and try to compete and get through Pittsburgh and move on to the AFC Championship. Now, Stephen, give us a little bit of a rundown. on this Pittsburgh offense and what you guys are going to have to do defensively to beat these guys. Describe them to me and what you guys will have to do. First and foremost, we definitely have to stop the run. They're going to try to establish the run early and try to play real physical football. But what they don't understand is that's a solid football we want to play. Secondly, we've got to guess as a quarterback, pass rush. That's definitely disrupt him, make him move around, get as many hits as possible on him. And then thirdly, just go out there and play physical and fast football.
Try to make sure we don't have any mental errors out there. Eddie, you got a question? Yeah, Coop, you had like 45 interceptions in the last three games. Is there any way you can teach the rest of the defensive backfield how to catch the football so that they can intercept some passes too? Yeah, no, it was just a rough day for them. Them guys, you grab everything that's in the air, but, you know, it was a rough day, and they're looking forward to this week to redeem themselves. Now, Coop, you said stopping the run is going to be the big thing that you guys are going to be focusing on, stopping the run. The last time you guys played in Pittsburgh, it was a very close game. Physical, Mike, physical. Very physical game. And so is that what you guys are going to be taking into this game of just like not only it being a playoff game, but also getting a little redemption from the last time you played there? Yeah, definitely. You know, it was a game that we left in Pittsburgh that we should have won. We had a lot of opportunities to win the game. Offers really didn't put a lot of points in the ball for us. But at the end of the day, we got to play defense and prevent teams from scoring. We did a good job of it by letting them kick three field goals. But, you know, three field goals is too much. And now we got to get out there and try to stop them from scoring. That's what we plan on doing. Hey, Coop, you know, as you get ready to go to Pittsburgh and you get ready to do this thing, you can hear the fans here in the background, man. As you get ready to go out there.
You know, I don't know if it's on your guys' mind, but we were talking about it that earlier in the week, the Pittsburgh newspaper was already looking ahead for Pittsburgh to the next team. Do you guys take that into account going into this game and let it put an even bigger chip on your shoulder? Definitely. You know, if anybody says it doesn't, then they're lying. When anybody tries to overlook any team in the NFL, any team can win any Sunday. But now that it's playoff football, guys are going to be flying around trying to make as many plays as possible. We're playing at a high level right now, and I think a lot of teams understand that, and they don't really want to see us right now. But at the end of the day, we're going to go up there and put together a 60-minute football game and play great football. Eddie. Steven, talk a little bit about the change at defensive coordinator and what that meant to you guys. It was big. You know, change is always good. Ron, being a player back in the 80s with the Chicago Bears, he understands what it takes to go up there and get after the quarterback. He puts it in great position to make plays, and he just simplifies the defense. He makes defensive calls where we don't have to think too much, and he just lets his guys as a quarterback with a lot of pressure. So, you know, it's a change, and it's been working out for us. All right, Stephen Cooper, we know you're busy, and we really appreciate you taking a couple of minutes. I'm a huge fan. All right, calm down, Ashley. We got your fans out here, and you got to know that San Diego is behind you guys 1,000%. Oh, no, we appreciate it. Thank you, and thank you, San Diego fans. Thanks, Coop. Appreciate it. All right, have a good one.
All right. Mikey was just being interviewed right there. Interviewed by Channel 6. Let's listen in on the interview right now. He's doing another interview. Oh, she's going to take a whack. Double the beef for only 89 cents. Double the beef for only 89 cents? How's that for a bailout plan? My apologies, Mr. Cheesy Double Beef Burrito. You're clearly one of the great economic thinkers of our time. Apology accepted. By the way, double the beef for only 89 cents is actually eight words. Yeah, I was never good with numbers. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. On the right, seeing tough on our freeways, especially out of the South Bay, you've got the usual stuff on both the 5 and the 805 northbound now. Pretty heavy on both these freeways out of Chula Vista up in the National City. The 805 continues to slow up to the 94. Then you've got to back up one more time out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over that 52. West on the 94, that's a real tough ride, man, from College Avenue. Stay slow with you all the way into downtown. So that's a very heavy ride on the King Freeway this morning. The westbound 8th on the other hand, just got the usual typical stuff from Jackson Drive out to Lake Murray. It does bunch up again, though, from the 805 out to Texas Street. South 15, always tough in the 78th of year Rancho Parkway. Now some reduced speeds into Carmel Mountain Ranch. And this coaster ride, South 5, a slow one.
from Point City Lane in Carlsbad down at the Salona Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence at Rock 105.3. That's crazy. San Diego's Rock. Now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I love going to the movies and I love watching the Food Network. Eddie. But I am. Heart of Earth. Sky. Hey, I smoked a lot of hot for many years. Yeah? Sean. I almost shot someone in the face one time. Boston Rock. I'm kind of the transient of the bunch. And Ashley. This guy is a clown. Hey, what do a bunch of Mikey Show and Charger fans sound like? Come on, make noise. We got a ton of people out here. We got the news crews here. And Eddie is swinging Boston Rob as we speak from a harness attached to a crane. He's about 10 feet off the ground right now swinging around. And we're about to let another person take a whack at Boston Rob. Look at this guy. It's super idiot. Oh, yes. All right, let's see.
Let's talk to this guy. Dude, what's your name, man? P1 Metal Dave. All right, dude, you're wearing an Eric Weddle jersey. You obviously want that Eric Weddle sign football, right? I'm getting that ball. All right, you ready to take a whack at Rob? You know it. All right, let's do this. Rob is swinging. He's in his... Stop, stop, stop. Okay. Guy got like four or five prizes that fell off of him. Yeah. Got about four or five prizes. Let's see. And we're going to take a look at what's underneath. underneath to find out if he won what he was looking for. Oh, one fell under the crane? Yeah. He hit him hard. That was flying. That was nuts. Boston Rob, you all right? He hit him. He hit him. He hit him direct. What did he say? Oh, he's already done. Oh, I'm so tall. Oh, whatever. Dude. It's easy to talk a lot of crap when you're that tall, Mike. Yes. That's true. That's true. That's a good point. Yes, I do. Yeah. That's how I do.
Karaoke machine. Look at this. T-Rex is wearing a Charger helmet. He's got all his Charger garb on. He is ready to go, man. Are you ready to do this, T-Rex? Yes, I am. All right, dude. Get it. Get in there. Get in there. Take out your aggressions, bro. Look at him. He's getting in his stance. Three-point stance. Look at T-Rex getting in his three-point stance. He's standing out now. He's about to take a whack. And? Oh, he got him in the head. Got him in the head. Get that pinata. There goes one. There goes a CD. There goes a CD. Okay, okay, T-Rex. Okay. Whoa, T-Rex. Whoa. He needs a testicle. Oh, my. T-Rex. T-Rex broke. The stick. The stick. He broke. He was hitting him so hard. He was hitting him so hard. The pinata stick. You are my favorite. Oh, my gosh. Okay, let's see what this guy's doing. Oh, look at Rob. He's complaining about where the harness is grabbing him. Apparently, he's being a little squeezed in the swimsuit area. All right. We are reassembling the stick. Dude, how are you doing? What's your name? P1 Sino. Sino, you ready to do this? Sir, yes, sir. All right, dude, get in there and take a couple of whacks at our Pittsburgh Steeler. He's wearing the Vincent Jackson. Oh, hey, hey. Okay, you're not bad.
That's a Charger jersey, not a Raider jersey. Come on. So, dude, you got a couple of prizes that fell off of him that time. And we got Angela over here. He won Kung Fu. How you doing? I'm good. Are you ready to give this a shot? Oh, heck. Go ahead and win some prizes. See, no guy. Eric Weddle. You got the Eric Weddle football? I've been a fan for Eric Weddle since she was in Utah. There you go, dude. There you go. Very nice. Thank you, dude. Thank you. Okay, Kung Fu. Look at this. A girl. She did good. She actually did pretty good. Okay, watch out. We got a swing and rob. Wait a minute. Is that P1 Quimby?
You want Quimby's out? Oh, look at Boston. Rob just stopped the momentum of the swinging because he was starting to get dizzy like a girl. I'm going to throw up on everybody. Yeah. This is the most amazing spectacle I've ever seen. This giant crane, all these news crews, and Rob hanging like a pinata. It's fantastic. Here comes Quimby. Oh, Boston got pulled his legs up to avoid the swing. Oh, there's one. There's a prize. There's one. Oh, my goodness. You can see all of this online right now. We're streaming this live on the Internet. Go to MikeyShow.com if you want to see this. And great job. Hey, P1s. The P1s earlier were doing the San Diego Supercharger song. Let's see if we can get them doing that again. There goes the swing. Oh, yeah. Swing. Hey, got a second. You hear him? Holy Toledo. All right. All right. All right. Let's get this. Let's get this chant officially going one more time. You guys start singing. I'm going to get you guys started. One, two, three. That's all we know. That was really good, guys.
Eddie's giving the thumbs up, but only halfway. It's the Bolt Choir. Yeah. Oh, baby P1's getting him. Now we have a little kid out here swinging. Now we have a little kid out here swinging. All right. He's got a prize. He's hitting Rob in the butt. The kid's a Yankees fan. That's hysterical. Rob, you see gear, right? He's in a Yankees jacket. Rob's trying to kick at the little kid. That's not right. Rob, this should be your new MySpace picture. A little kid in a Yankee jersey beating you up. That's fantastic. He's still going. All right, folks. Just let him. Let's wrap it up from out here. I want a big round of applause from all you crazy people that came out here. Come on. Thank you. Thank you for coming out here. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be back. It's The Mikey Show. It's Rock 105.3. Best of The Mikey Show at rock1053.com.

You guys want to know the working title of my memoir? Sure. Oh, yeah.
Memoirs of a player. Can I get a what-what? Thank you. You guys, no. You guys, my memoir is so ghetto. My memoir is so ghetto, Eddie, that I can't afford the pen and paper to write it down, so I just have to keep telling the story. Mikey's show continues. Rock 105.3. A local Marine who saved a dog and brought him home from Iraq. is back in the news after the dog helped stop a burglar the other night. Wow. We just came in from outside. Oh, that was so much fun. And it was very fun. It was a scene. Oh, yeah. There was every news station in San Diego out there, a ton of listeners, and Boston Rob hanging from a crane. Oh, dear.
It's fantastic. Very special. And did you see after P1C note won the Eric Weddle ball, the other P1s coming up, like trying to make trades and see how much that thing was going to go for. I didn't see how that played out. He walked away with it, so he wanted to keep it. He wanted it. He wasn't having any trades, any money. No, that was his. Yeah, well, he won it fair and square. That's true. Swinging at B-Rob. And it was so funny, too, because I was standing out there when... Rob took the mask off and his face from every time they would hit him with a mask, it would like press the mask into his face. And so he took the mask off and he's got these indentations of a catcher's mask all along the side of his face. Because he took a couple of pretty good whacks. I'd say probably the toughest one came from that, you know, five foot one inter, you know, reporter from Fox. Yeah, that was so funny. She hit him in the in the jewels. Her first hit, cameras on her and everything directly in the swimsuit area. She's on live TV and she takes her first whack at him, hits him right in the jewels. He grimaces and throws both hands over his jewels, dangling from the air, attached to a harness. So funny. Fantastic. Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. And that was fantastic. Oh, yeah.
That was fantastic. And if for some reason you didn't get to see it on the live web streaming, they videoed the whole thing and video and pictures will be up on the website later today. Let's see. Apparently, Joe Arpaio is at it again. Joe Arpaio is the sheriff in Phoenix that created Tent City for the prisoners. When you go to jail in Phoenix, he's not messing around. And so he's got them out there in tents and stuff. And he's really on one, that Joe Arpaio. And so I guess he was on Conan O'Brien. Oh, wow. Well, because he was talking about how they started to charge for the meals there, right? And so that made big headlines. Well, of course, the inmates were complaining about it. The fact that they were going to have to pay for their meals. And so he said, you want to complain about it? And you're wanting good food? Yeah. Okay, we got something for you. Cut eight. Then we give them the food channel. The food channel. Our meals are 30, 60 cents a day to feed the inmates. And we give them C-span. Wait, so the food channel, that's just to... Teach them how to cook. Okay. Show them what they're missing, really, because we give them brunch. Which is it, to actually teach them a skill or torture them with what they're doing? The official reason is teach them a skill. Official, okay. Wow.
I mean, don't give the FBI more work, okay? That's Joe Arpaio. That guy's serious. That's funny, because I know how it is watching Food Network on a full stomach. You still get up and go to the fridge, but to be starving in prison and have Food Net on? Oh, man. It's probably pretty hard. A little bit. Eddie just got in. Eddie, it's a madhouse. That was outrageous. It's a madhouse. That was absolutely outrageous. And I discovered a new skill I have, which is talking in sound bites. Yes. I didn't know. I was fantastic. Talk to me. Talk to me. Well, you know, I was being interviewed like I normally am, Mike. Yes. And I just I give them the perfect sound bite. What did you say? Well, you know, I was talking about how. us Charger fans just wanted to give a push for the playoffs and send the Chargers to Pittsburgh on a high. That sounds good. It was really good. That sounds smooth. That's fantastic. It was really good. Well, hopefully we're going to see a lot of this footage played back tonight on TV. A lot of that was live. I didn't even know. They were doing live shots. Yeah, when Rob took it in the junk, he was on live TV when that happened.
And it's Willie Parker. That's right. It's Willie Parker. So where is Rob? Is he still out there? They're still filming, so it's like they're still whacking at him and getting shots. Yeah, well, I hope all the P1s are in the union because they're going to get paid overtime. They're out there doing that right now. They're enjoying themselves. So, Eddie, let's get your temperature on this one. Apparently, they are saying that they may have a new villain. For Iron Man 2. Skye. Who is it? Hurry up. They are saying. And by they. They.com. I don't like when you're doing this. They at Vons? Come on. Yes, at Vons. Variety is reporting that the actor. I'm going to punch you right in the neck. That he's coming out of his skin. Mickey Rourke is in talks to play the new villain for Iron Man 2. I think Mickey Rourke is a cool old dude, you know? Yeah, for sure. I mean, I think he's pretty, you know, gritty. Who's he going to play? Well, so they won't specifically comment on who the character is, but then they describe the character, which basically gives it away. They say he's described as Iron Man's Russian alter ego, who's in the arms business and has his own armored suit. They say that that Iron Man character was called Crimson Dynamo. Oh, yeah. Do you remember that? Crimson Dynamo. For sure.
Really? Yeah, that was a big one for Ironman. Yeah. That's great. That sounds cool. We hope those talks work out. That would be pretty cool. Mickey Rourke making quite a comeback. The Dodgers and the Brewers are both taking a shot at a San Diego Padre, right, Eddie? Mike, this is difficult to swallow. But, yeah, Dodgers and Brewers have both made offers, too. Trevor Hoffman. Oh, wow. And sources say that he is close to a deal could be done tonight with the Brewers, which I'm fine with. Yeah, that's better. I can accept the Brewers. That's the better one. I cannot hear Hell's Bells. Oh, come on. Forget it. Forget it. That's terrible. No way. But the Brewers, whatever. No more booze at the Silver Strand, by the way. Yeah. No more booze. Like booze. Yeah, they're sick of that. They want people to just be supportive. Yeah. Yay. Ghost over strong. Strand. Strand it up. Well, you know they did the beach booze ban and you couldn't drink booze anywhere. I heard they did a beach blast. Yes. Well, there's always a beach blast. That's exactly what you're thinking of, Sky. You've got the wrong thing. Well, no. That's not what we're talking about here. What are you talking about? Beach blast. Oh. There it is. Waves of the board. Hi.
They announced the Silver Strand. There's going to be a beach booze ban. There will be a beach booze ban. Well, Silver Strand State Beach in Coronado was the only place that you could drink at after they banned booze at all the other beaches around the county. Somebody's driving down to Coronado. Just to drink a beer. Fourth of July, it was crazy. The whole beach was packed to the point where it overflowed to the other side of that little freeway. Oh, they must have loved it there in Coronado. And right on the other side is the Cays, the Coronado Cays, which is this really upscale community right on the water. Vomit everywhere. People had Cays. People ended up getting stabbed. Oh. Yeah, it was a mess. So they have put in a beach booze band on Silver Strand. March 16th to September 30th. So basically all the beach months, no booze allowed. Eddie. Well, as I had just reported about Trevor Hoffman, this just in. It looks like Trevor Hoffman and the brewers have a deal in place. Trevor Hoffman, now a Milwaukee brewer. I guarantee you we're the first to announce this because it's just coming down. It just happened. Wow.
8-18. Unbelievable. Thursday, January 8th, 2009. Trevor Hoffman is no longer a San Diego Padre. That's crazy. That is so weird. Now, do we know who our leave guy is going to be? Closer? Our closer is going to be now? Probably Heath Bell. Heath Bell. Yeah. What a day, man. First we beat up Boston Rob and got on the news and then Trevor Hoffman. I know. What's the bigger story? I know it. From a high to kind of a low. Yeah, it kind of was. We'll just have to beat him up again. On a Brewers jersey. That's right. When we come back, I'm going to be telling you who the new cast of The Celebrity Apprentice is going to be because they announced the cast.

Suffer from delusions of grandeur. Sky. I've never been to a map now. 100%. You have. Floss a minimum of three times a day. Boston Rob. Mariah Carey told me to shave my dreaded secret car. And Ashley. I ain't excited. No, just a good. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Oh, no. Welcome back. It's a Mikey show. It's 826. The Dark Knight and Carrie Underwood were the big winners last night at the People's Choice Awards. Saints running back Reggie Bush had surgery on his left knee, but he should be ready for minicamp. Welcome back. It is a it's a big morning for us here on the Mikey show because we did our little Chargers pep rally and got Boston Rob out back right now with a bunch of news crews and he's being lifted up on a hoist. The crane.
And hit like a human pinata. My favorite is how confused they are. They're like... So, wait, he's from Boston, and he's wearing a Pittsburgh? Like, we don't get it. They don't get it. They're coming on right now on Fox. Fox 5 Morning News. Hey, Charger fans, we know you're fired up, ready for the big game on Sunday against those Pittsburgh Steelers. And Fox 5 reporter Jackie Wynn, she is hanging out. A bit of an early pep rally out there, Jackie. There's Rob on TV. That's why it is a great pep rally. We're here in the parking lot of the radio station 105.3. We got some Chargers fans here with us. They are ready. They are fired up, ready to go. And I've got a quick question for you. You know, I'm going to ask you this later on. You know the San Diego Supercharger song? I'm going to ask you this. It's going to be a test. But right over here, I've got Boston Rob, who is the stuntman here for the Mikey Show. And earlier, if you're just joking. He's a stunt boy. He hasn't really grown into a man yet. He's still a stunt boy. Well, the stunt toddler. Yes, that's way more accurate. You know, I've got a good chance to give him a good whack that he's the human pinata. He always cheers against the Chargers. So, Boston Rob.
How are you this morning? I'm hanging in there. Literally. Hanging in there. Yeah, you're hanging in there. So I got to ask you, how do you like being whacked by a woman there, huh? It was different. This time, you know, there was no breakup that occurred after. That was a first. Let's do this one question here. Why do you always chance the Chargers? Come on, that's the home team. I'm a Patriots fan. I'm from the great state of Massachusetts, so my loyalty lies there. But, uh... You're all that boo. You know what? All of the people have left. It's like four or five people. It's like seven P1s are left. And everybody had to go to work because we had to come back into the studio. Well, we came back in. They bailed. Yeah, but the hardcore P1s, they stayed out there to do some TV. It's awesome. It's time for Boston Rob to be hoisted up there in the crane. We got Todd over there who's going to give him a couple whacks. He's going to hang over here. T-Rex isn't really named T-Rex? Wait, what? I had no idea that was his name.
Look at the T-Rex. Oh, wow. The T-Rex. Ouch. Ouch. Oh, man. He's hitting him hard. Rob here. He is the stuntman for the radio station 105.3. If you're just joining us right now, I'm here in the park line. They're doing an early pep rally to send out the Chargers. There's Danny. There's Danny. If you want Danny, he's hitting him now. Face. Oh, man. Want to be out here. Hey, Raul, so do you know the Chargers song? Can you sing it right now? Of course I know that song, but I'm not going to say it. Okay, let's hear it. Oh, come on. Wait, I got the lyrics out here. They're having to give him the lyrics on a teleprompter. Oh, that is embarrassing. We're going to do it for our super fans. All we seek is the goal to victory. We'll ignite you, excite you. I can't stop. We can do the chorus. I think these fans, they know the song. I'm going to toss and bash you roll in the studio. San Diego. Super Charger. That guy's really embarrassed. That's funny. That's great, man. That's great. Good job. Rob is funny, man. He is, dude. That was great. He is. Usually a breakup in kids afterwards. Can you light my cigarette, miss? That's so great. It was so funny because when we were out there, you know, he did. He would have, like, smoke breaks and stuff. And so he'd be seconds away from being interviewed, and he's, like, taking, you know, doing the James Dean throwing of the, you know, cigarette out of his mouth.
Yeah, sure, I'll do an interview. What's your name, little lady? So before we went to break, I told you we were going to tell you who the new cast of The Celebrity Apprentice is going to be. Skye, who is it? Okay, well, there were a handful of people that were already talked about and rumored. That was Khloe Kardashian. I thought you said celebrities. Yeah. Tom Green. What about the celebrities? Yeah, what celebrity? Joan and Melissa Rivers. Is Tom Green still a celebrity? What does he do? He actually has a game show on the network Planet Green where he quizzes people about environmental stuff. The fact that you know that. His last name is Green. Wow. Tom Green. And he's the worst hosting it. I've seen it. But anyway, other celebrities announced. Dennis Rodman. Country singer Clint Black. Justin Timberley. Really? Justin Timberley. Is he on it? T-Boz from TLC. Come on. Rosie O'Donnell. Really? Jesse James. Okay. Rosie O'Donnell. He used to be a bandit in the Old West. No, no. And rode on a horse along the stagecoach. Former member of DX on the WWE. What? What are you saying? What is that? I'm with you. You know what I'm talking about. Yeah, I know. Same. I got you. Okay. Singer Brian McKnight. Oh, yeah.
Skater Scott Hamilton. Hey. Football star Herschel Walker. Wow. Him and his multiple personalities. That's awesome. That counts for six people. They're done. Golfer Natalie Golbis. Golbis. Golbis. Is a golfer named Natalie Golbis? Yeah. She's hot. That's why. Playboy Playmate Brandi Roderick. Well, hello. Well, hello. Poker player, Annie Duke. Oh, we know Annie. She'll be good. Deal or no deal girl, Claudia Jordan. Number four. That is embarrassing. And then finally, Andrew Dice Clay. Oh, my God. Quite a mix. Rob turned it down. Dice, man. Yeah, Rob turned it down and Dice took it. Quite a mix. That is a mix. Check engine went up that hill. Oh. Oh. Oh. Let's see. HBO says that they're buying the rights to the inaugural opening ceremonies.
Yeah, and I actually read this yesterday, and everybody was talking all this smack because, oh, so only the rich people who have HBO get to watch it, and how is this, you know, the people's ceremony if only the richies get to watch it? Well, HBO has said that they will make the broadcast available free for everybody, whether you actually subscribe to HBO or not. Everybody will get to watch the opening ceremonies. You just have to have cable. Now, I guess everybody does now, right? Didn't that digital law go into effect where the rabbit ears don't even work anymore or something like that? That starts end of February, I think. So at the end of February, you won't even be able to watch TV from rabbit ears. Well, yeah, if you have a converter box, you can. You can? Yeah. So pick it up from the air. What is this whole thing then, Sean? What is the law? What is the thing that's going to happen?
Please, Sean, sorry to interrupt. That was my bad. No, come on. That was Eddie's. That was my bad. Eddie didn't mean to do that. Please. I'm sorry we did that. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. No, please. This is your time to shine. No, you please. No, please tell us. No, you please. No, you please. There you are. There you are. There you are. There you are. Oh, look who's there. Oh, Boston Rob. There's Boston Rob. Hey, buddy. How are you doing? I'm watching you on TV. Oh, really? We just saw you on TV. What? Yeah. What was I saying? You did the breakup line? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Thanks. That was a good one. That was good. I'm my biggest fan. Did everybody, did all of the places leave, Rob? Yeah. All of the different news stations? I don't know. I just took off. There's one just wrapping up. That's cool. You did a good job, buddy. Thank you, man. That was interesting. I got a little nervous when Jay kept... Like, that last time, for that last shot, he put me up pretty high. Yeah, he did. How's your Willie Parker? Oh, yeah. It is, uh, okay. All right. I'm going to take your word for it on that one. You don't want to check? Nope. I'm good, sir. All right, so Sean. Get in, so get in. Yeah, so Sean, tell us about the converter box. You were saying what I was trying to say.
was that, yeah, you can buy a converter box. You hook up your antenna to it, and you basically take, like, a cable out, go into the back of your television, put it on channel three. I got an email. Let's see what you guys think. Thanks for that, Sean. You're a giant jerk. This email says, Mikey, I'm very upset with my husband and you guys always have good advice. So I wanted to see what your thoughts on this were. I found out that he bought his ex-wife a Christmas present. We've been married for less than a year and he has kids and a good relationship with his ex, which I'm fine with. But buying her a Christmas present, I think that's going a little too far. Plus, he didn't even tell me about it.
I found out from the kids. It wasn't anything spectacular, but still, dot, dot, dot, inappropriate. What do you guys think? Am I overreacting? Thanks, love the show. That's P1 Rachel. It's a good one. I don't know how I feel about it. 5701053, how do you feel about it? Text us, 35253. Well, I think that if it hurt her feelings, she should let him know it hurt her feelings. But the only thing that I see, the mistake that I think that was made was not telling her. You know, you let her know, hey, this is Mike. I mean, I wonder why he didn't tell her. Yeah, see, if you don't tell her, listen, if you feel like the mom of your kids, you want to get something, you know, you're friendly. You're trying to keep it friendly between the two of you. She's going to be in your life the rest of your life, no matter what. If you've got kids together. They're going to be in your life the rest of your life. And so it'd be one thing if it's an ex-wife and you guys don't have kids. That's weird. That's really weird. But if you do have kids and you're just trying to be friendly and it's a nice gesture and it's the mom of your kids, I wouldn't think there was anything wrong except for the not sharing it or communicating it. The omission almost seems to admit something.
I don't know. What do you guys think? No, I agree 100%. There's a reason why he didn't tell his wife. What do you think? He probably felt guilty about it. He probably felt like, oh, this is, I know I'm doing something kind of wrong here. And either I don't want to deal with it or I don't want to. But why is it kind of wrong? It's a little inappropriate. I get that. I mean, it's an ex-wife. You think it's inappropriate? Kind of. Yeah. I mean, if he cleared it with his wife and was like, hey, babe, I'm thinking about getting, So-and-so, a little something from both of us. Is that cool? Are you cool with that? And can you help me pick something out? Like, that I get. But going, like, behind her back, sneaking around and not telling her, that's weird, man. Yeah, and if it's... They're cheating. Oh, stop it, Eddie. You're making a leap. Cheaters Hotel. Let's go. No Cheaters Hotel. If it's hurting her feelings, then if it were me and it was hurting feelings, I'd say, okay, listen, I won't do that anymore. And I think Eddie's right, too. And you go to her before you even go there. Just did check. Is this cool? What do you think of this? He had to have known that it is possible that it would cause problems. Yeah, for sure. There's a possibility. But guys are dumb. I mean, you know. How dare you. I'm just saying. I'm just saying they do stupid stuff all the time. So you have to think about that. You underlined and bolded all the time. You're in a room full of men. And you made it italics. You made it italics. Sky, what do you make of the not telling her?
I don't know like part of me kind of leans to the fact that he didn't tell her because it's like I don't know I feel like this guy didn't do anything wrong like I kind of need to defend him like I mean obviously I don't know these things but I kind of feel like the reason he didn't tell her was because it was really no big deal and he kind of knew that she would freak out. And he didn't want to deal with it. All right. Well, then let's say the boo. Yeah. Oh, yes. Had a little conversation with an ex-girlfriend. An ex-girlfriend is different than the mother of your children. Oh, really? It's a little different, bro. Would it upset you? If he got her a Christmas gift? Yeah. It depends what the gift was. Yeah, because she says it wasn't anything spectacular. Yeah. But I wonder what that means. Yeah, if he just got her a little, like, generic something. I would, yeah, no problem. Yeah. I would think that's nice. Tiffany Lockett. Tiffany Lockett. It would make, wait, no Tiffany Lockett. Lingerie. Oh, Eddie. Stop it. That's not funny. What if he bought the Boo Donkey's number one groupie something? Oh. For the support. For the support. There's no such band.
There's a band, the Boudonkis. Yeah, the Boudonkis. Your husband is really good. No. He's the front man. And that doesn't exist. He's the front man. That is not true. Have you seen his hair? That's front man hair. Oh, he doesn't have great hair. That's right. Let's stop talking about the hair. P1 Michelle. It's a movie star. What do you think? When me and my husband split up last year and I started dating other guys, they knew firsthand that my husband was the father of my kids and he came first above anything else with my kids because my... With your kids. With your kids. He's the father of my kids. I was with him for eight years. Now, when you say, okay, but when you say he comes first, do you have a new guy in your life? No, no, this was last year. Me and my husband ended up getting back together after being separated for a year. But I always had that my kids and the father of my kids, if they needed anything, they came first. Why the father of your kids? Why would he come first? We were together for eight years. I understand that. But you were apart. It's a family unit. And when this lady got married... Well, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. But if you're not together anymore... Right. We're not... Yeah, I can see that. But she needed to know that, you know, she knew when she got married that he had kids, that he had a prior family. Who knows how long they've been married for, but there is always going to be a bond between him and his ex-wife. Even if they're not sleeping together, there's still a bond. That's the mother of his children.
So you're saying it is okay to get her a gift and not tell the new girl about it? He probably didn't want to tell her because she's freaking out. I mean, obviously, she's sending me the email. Yeah, I was kind of thinking that, too. Yeah, see, I think that that is the reason that he's not taking her. He didn't tell her, but I still think he should have told her. But the difference between him and me is when I had my boyfriends or whatever, and if I was going to do that to my husband, I'd tell my boy flat out. I'm going to get him a gift along with the kids so the kids don't think anything's going, you know, so they feel like daddy's involved. Well, wait a second. Let's pretend that I'm your new boyfriend. Okay. And we'll discuss this together. Uh-oh. Here we go. I've done this before, Michelle, so I'm going to let you know I'm a professional at this, okay? Give it your best shot. Okay. So, hey, babe, the kids told me that you're... What's the other guy's name? David. Hey, honey, the kids told me that you were giving David a gift. Yes. For Christmas. Yes. Really? You didn't tell me anything about that gift?
See, I would have told you, though. Oh, you would have said it. Okay, well, let's say that then you start and you tell me about it. Let's see how this is going to work out. You tell me about it. Okay. Okay, go ahead. Yeah, yeah. I went out and got the kids for Christmas gifts today, and I got a couple of gifts for my ex so that he's involved with the whole family so that the kids don't think that I don't want the kids to have any tension between me and their father. You don't want the kids to have what? I don't want the kids to sense any tension between me and their dad. I want them to be happy. I don't either. I wouldn't want them to sense any tension between you and the ex either. But how is getting him a gift directly tied to there not being tension? How is getting him a coffee maker a problem? Well, I guess because you're not with him anymore and it hurts my feelings. Okay, I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings. But at the same point, when we got into this relationship, you knew full well that I had... Hang on a second, honey. Somebody's knocking on the door. I think it's my friend. Oh, hey, what's up, guys? I was just outside listening to your conversation. Why aren't you the number one priority? I don't understand this. Hey, that's a good question. My friend Eddie just came over. He wants to know why I am not the first priority. Why is the ex...
The first priority in your life, dear. Father of my... Well, I know he's a father. You don't have a relationship anymore. Yeah. Hey, friend. What's up? No one's talking. Hang on, bro. I'm talking to my lady. You got any hot pockets? Yeah, there's one in the freezer. Go grab one. Well, Michelle, baby. Michelle, hang on. Somebody else is knocking on the door. Michelle, hang on just a second. Who is it? Hey, Mike, it's me, man. Hey, what's up? I just stopped by. I'm on my way to go holiday shopping for some exes. You guys want to come? Yeah, can you get me a couple of diamond pendants for my ex-girlfriend? You got it. Don't lie. Rob came over because he heard you had Hot Pockets. Oh, that's true. That is true. They're in the freezer. Eddie's warming up. Go ahead. I'm talking to my gal, Michelle. Michelle. Yes. Michelle, now let's get back to this conversation here. I don't want the kids to think that there's any tension between the two of you either. I mean, that's unnecessary. But I don't know how getting him a gift is necessary to that. I think it depends on the gift. Well, let me ask you this, baby. There's a coffee maker. Sweetheart. Or a blender. Honey. Sweet pie. Sweet pie. I would like to ask you, who comes first, me or him? Uh-oh.
Above anybody else. Oh, no, no, no. I understand that. Oh, no. Honey, I understand. Your kids come first. Absolutely. But what I'm asking you is something very specific. Between me and the ex, who comes first? Well, you and I are involved in a relationship. We're not married. We're dating. I see. I see. So you would come first. I come first. Between you and him, but between you and the kids, it's going to be my kids. Oh, absolutely. I agree. I agree. It should be the kids for sure. Sure. I just want to make sure that I come before the ex because that's the reason the ex is before anything else. You know what I mean? There's a reason he's the ex and stuff like that. Well, I think that's great. If he needed anything that had to do with my kids. Yeah, for sure. Kids come first. That's my point. For sure. That's not what he's saying, I don't think. Yeah, no, the kids come first. I think you're avoiding the question. Who's that lady? Where'd that girl come from?
I'm hanging outside the window. I was walking my dog. Oh, there you go. And I saw you, and then I decided to eavesdrop. That's a badger. That's a badger. It's a Wolverine. It's a very sick badger. Yeah, it's a very sick badger. It's a badger that just got hit in the face with a snow shovel. Snow shovel. You were all out of hot boxes, so I just made a sandwich. Oh, that's fine. Okay, cool. Hey, Michelle, I appreciate the phone call, and I thought that was some really great input. Thank you. All right, you guys have a nice day. You too. Text messages we're getting. Mikey, question is. Has he done this every year that they've been divorced? P1 religion. That is the question. Has he done it every year? What is that? That is the question. Why does that matter? Why does that matter? Because if they had a relationship or maybe they're friends because they've got kids together and, you know, it's kind of normal to give us a little something. But can't some of that stuff end once he enters a new marriage? Why should it? Why does he have to end a friendship? Question, question, question. What we're talking about is something inappropriate. So if something else inappropriate was going on, is that okay to continue just because it's been happening? Yeah, like if he was a flasher, that's fine. He's always been a flasher. Every year he's flashed. Let's say their tradition is to make love every Christmas. I'm sorry. I think that's inappropriate. Does that have to end?
Oh, really? Now we're to the point where I can't make love to my ex anymore? We do it every year. Oh, really? I disagree. You're wrong, Ashley. Wait, Ash, you disagree. I do. Okay. You're wrong. Mikey. Yeah? Maybe his wife is a beating and didn't want to hear about it. That's P1 big A-G. That's probably true. Huh. Mikey, as long as it wasn't a re-gift, there's nothing wrong with it. That's P1 donuts. Fantastic. Mikey, no way on giving the ex-wife a gift in any situation. If he wants to be friendly, wish her a Merry Christmas. That's P1 Ryan's mom. I don't disagree. Listen, why not? I mean, it's not necessary, is it? Well, if you enter into a new marriage, you have a new family. That doesn't mean your old family doesn't exist.
But you have a new set of rules and, you know, what's deemed appropriate. Well, here, listen, I want to be really clear. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to it. I think it's whatever that new, whatever the new gal feels, that's the right answer. She's your family now. You got to respect what you want. If she doesn't care, have that. You know, no big deal. But if she gets hurt by it, I think you should stop doing that. Skye, you don't, if somebody's getting hurt by it, you say. Well, again, I go back to, I think. If it's a BS gift, if it's just some little thing, I think that this chick has kind of got some of her own... Like a memory jar. Yeah. Oh. Oh, great. Yeah, dude. I think the new wife has some of her own issues if that upsets her. Maybe she does, but Skye, would you say that the answer is that if it's hurting her feelings, you just tell her to get over it and you keep doing your thing? Well, I think you explained to her, you know, the respect he has for his ex-wife. And I think that's something that should be admired. And if that's tripping her out, it's counseling, dude. And keep doing it? Well... Because if you're giving a cup of love to your ex, Rob... Cup of love? That's a good one. It's a memory jar.
Cup of noodles. Isn't that what Rob said? Oh, what? Oh, cup of noodles. That's right. Oh, they're close. It's a dreidel of kisses. 570-1053 is the phone number. And what do you think about this? Is this appropriate? P1 River, are you there? Yes, I am. How are you guys doing? Good, man. What do you think? I myself have a child with my ex, and I don't get to be in the picture all that much. So I think this guy is a gentleman. He's teaching his sons to respect their mother and other women in the future. And it's just a good gesture. It's kind of like a thank you to his ex saying thank you for being a mom. Wouldn't the biggest thank you have been to not divorce her? Oh, wow. Is that a wrong question? When we're adults, we get divorced, Mike. Grow up. Grow up, Mike. Sometimes things don't work out. Be a grown-up and divorce her. Divorce and no nine. There you go. That's a big phrase that Obama ran on. What? This text message says, Mikey, no way on giving the ex-wife a gift in any situation. This one says, Mikey, who initiated the divorce, him or the ex-wife? If the ex did, maybe he isn't over her. He won nothing written.
So this person is saying that it has to do with who divorced who is what would make it appropriate. Again, I don't know that there can be one right answer that it's okay or it's not okay. I think it's got to come down to if you're hurting someone, if you're hurting somebody's feelings, I'm like, oh, man, you don't want to hurt somebody's feelings. This guy doesn't care about that. This guy says, well, talk them into your feelings. I'm just saying, if their feelings are stupid. Oh, wow. That's a legitimate point. Unless they're a total beating. Yeah, if their feelings are psycho, then okay. Psycho. What are you supposed to do? He's being a nice guy. He's being a gentleman. Okay, Scott. Wait a second. I would respect that. Like, that would warm my heart. Like, that's nice. How about this then? It depends, Mike. Is he black? No. There it is. How much money are we talking? Scott. Shut up. Scott. Mike. Can we agree in your assessment, can we agree that if somebody has issue with this, they've got...
problems, right? In my opinion, kinda, yeah. Okay. You got some insecurity stuff going on there, lady. Okay. Well, then that means that if you were dating this person, you wouldn't want to be with somebody that's got problems, right? Wouldn't you cut loose at that point? You'd say, uh-oh, I didn't realize I was dating a lunatic. I better break up with him. Well, I wouldn't go so far as lunatic, but there's obviously some insecurity there in regards to his relationship with his ex-wife. Do you really want to be with somebody that's got such insecurities? Personally, no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to work. Don't you think moving along would be the proper thing to do at this point? Well, this isn't like I don't think this should make or break their marriage, but I definitely think this is something they need to talk about and work out because we've already stated grownups get divorces. Oh, stop it, Mike. Me and my brother are medics in the Marines, and yesterday he found out that he's supposed to deploy to Afghanistan in March. The problem is his baby's being born the same month, so I told him we'd duty swap, and that means I'd deploy instead of him. Wow. That's cool, dude. That's nice. I have a duty. I have a duty. 570-1053 is a phone number. Our text number is 35253. Where do you stand on this sucker? We'll talk about it. Vicky on the rock.

Well, in case you haven't heard yet, it looks like the Milwaukee Brewers are going to have a new closer. It's the one and only Trevor Hoffman. Trevor Hoffman. What? A Padre. Man. I can't even believe that. It's gross. That's crazy. Eddie, what did you just warm up? Shepherd's Pie. Homemade Shepherd's Pie. Stop bragging. You're a good American. I want to bite. I understand. Mike, would you want to bite? Yes, I would. Yes, I would. And yes, I would. My wife makes a version of... shepherd's pie, but it's called turkey pie. Oh, dude. Oh, Eddie, this... Calm down. Oh, my gosh. It looks so good, dude. I don't have a spoon for mine. It's like perfectly bubbly, you know, crispy brown on the top. I'm ready. Eddie, I'm over here. Eddie, do you have this written down anywhere? Yeah. Can you email that? I kind of came up with it. Did you put it in a memory? I want to do this. Yeah, really? Yeah. Because I've had this before. It's really easy to do. It's real good. Eddie makes a real good shepherd's pie. Sounds so good. Shepard's pie? Shepard's pie. That is not the all-American lunch. No. No, it is. Irish. No. The all-Irish lunch? Yeah. You got a song for that one, Rob? No, I don't. Okay, well, you got to work on that. Am I getting a bite? Let me have a bite. Is that good, Mike? Is that good?
What do you got in there? Some corn? Shut up. I was just looking. You got to give me that recipe. You got to. Absolutely, dude. That's good. It turned out really good. I was stoked. I was worried because those... Potatoes are instant potatoes. I thought they were going to be terrible. I was really worried. But they actually tasted pretty good and they turned out pretty good. That is so pitted. And your wife does it with ground turkey? Yes. I'm not a fan. I like the turkey pie. Don't get me wrong. I like it. I prefer... Fattening ground beef. Of course. I get turkey burgers right now. I get turkey burgers. I can cook them and rip them up. I don't recommend that for this recipe. I wouldn't either. Wow. I'll just send it to Mike. What are you going to eat? Let's see. Why don't we do some of this? Oh, wow. That's dude. Tone deaf, tone deaf karaoke. Sounds like Ashley.
They did compare her to William Hunk. It's true. She's good, I'll tell you that. I like Ashley singing. Thank you. Why are you lying? Do you feel good about yourself? I think that people get to be what I would call hypercritical. You know, he's in 09. Is that your thing? Why do you lie? Liar. I think that some people, when it comes, because we've been conditioned as a society to like a certain thing. Like things that are pleasing to the ear. Yes. Things that make you happy. Yeah. Definitely. Yes. I don't see what you're doing there. Things that don't make you want to scratch your eardrums out. With a drill bit.
Punch yourself in the face. Betty. Okay. Listen. Over and over. Just because a person doesn't sing it exactly like the original artist doesn't make it bad. In key. Thank you, Mike. Like when Chris Cornell did Billie Jean. Was that bad? Hello. Thank you. You too. That's why I always compare myself to that. Ladies and gentlemen. You too. Wow. Always. Perfect example. Ladies and gentlemen. What? Transgender. Transgender idol. That is loco. Okay. All right. I got that reference. I saw what you were doing, Eddie. Derek. Derek, are you there? How you doing? Derek, are you ready to play tone deaf? Yeah. He's very excited. He's extremely excited. Calm down, Derek. Derek. Yeah. I can't let you on the air if you're going to freak out like this.
It's like you just opened a Wii. I know, right? Yeah. Dude, you sound like that kid when he opened the Wii up. You're just... Derek, how old are you? Four. Where are you from? All right. What part of San Diego are you living in? Alpine. Nice. Do you know how tone-deaf karaoke works? Yeah. I'm going to play you this clip. Let the whole clip play. All right. And then give me either who's singing it or what the song is. And you went, Eddie, what is the prize that he's working for? You got Slipknot tickets. How about that? Here we go. What accent is that?
It's not an accent. Oh, it isn't? No. That was a good one. It is an accent. It's an affectation. No, Mike. It's an impediment, I think, is what that is. Okay, definitely not. P1 Derek, give me a title or artist to win. The Killers? You are correct. Yeah. Well done. Oh, right. Hang on the line. Calm down. One for one. Next up is P1 Ryan. Hi, Ryan. Hey, Mikey. Is this Ryan Loco? No. Hey. Hi. I don't know this. I don't know. I get it. He just asked a question. You've never tried to clarify something before? Fine, I guess. I mean, are you kidding me? Ryan. Ryan. Sorry. Ryan. Ryan. Are you ready to play this game? Ashley is looking at me with her jaw down. Put a fork in you.
Bring me back. He's not done. Come on. Don't do that. All right. Here we go, Ryan. I'm going to play you the clip. When it's done, you tell me, title or artist, you win. You ready? Okay. Here we go. Can you give me a title or artist on that one? That sounded like Sammy puking up her prescription dog. Yeah. I would say that that is true. I would say that that is a very correct statement. Very yeast infection. No. I don't know what that sounded like. For those of you that don't know, Ashley found out that her dog has a yeast infection. Oh, she does? In her paws and her ears, too. Everywhere. That's her other part. Okay, thank you, Ryan. Ryan, do you know what song that was or what artist? You know what? I'm going to have to go with my original guess. Yeah, your original guess is incorrect. It was not her dog. It wasn't her dog heaving up medication. It was Mariah Carey.
What? That's not possible. That I didn't hear. It's your headphones. Well, now that I hear it back. Yeah, yeah, for sure, right? That's your tone. I know it is. It didn't sound anything like it. What? You don't know that. That is unfair. You don't know that. That is unfair. Listen again. No, no. It's like identical. Sorry about that, Ryan. I don't blame you. Thank you, Ryan. Wow. Last up, P1 Gonza. Goblin. What up? Is that right? Gonza Goblin? Gonza Goblin. Gonza Goblin. What is that? Yeah, what is that? Well, I gobble ganja, so it's ganja. Oh, ganja. Ganja. That's different. It's ganja Goblin. Got it. Okay, here's your clip. Title or artist, and you win. I'm very tired. Oh. And I'm not feeling right. What the? All I wish is to be alone.
She's ruining it. That is unbelievable. And by it, you mean life, right? Like just life. I need to hear that again because at first I didn't even know that was the song. I didn't even know it was the song. I want to try and get it. I'm very tired. When I'm not feeling right, all I wish is to be alone. You're not even close. Stay away. Don't you invade my home. It's off if you hang outside. It's for you, Sean. Don't go in. Oh, lonely running height. That is unbelievable. That was unnecessary. I'm going to re-gift that. Yes, that's a re-gift. That is a re-gift, man. I don't want it. What's your name on the phone? I forgot you. I wiped my memory clean. Yes, dude. I thought Jack Bauer was going to run in the room and rescue me. P1 Ganja Goblin. I thought I had a lobotomy, too. Who was it? I thought that was her impersonating Silverware hitting the ground. That is a great guess.
Not really. But it was actually men at work. Who can it be now? No, that was not. Sean! Oh, yeah. Yeah, for you. Oh, yeah, now I hear it. Oh, my God. I'm tired. Oh, wow. I'll put it on there tomorrow. Yeah. We'll blog, blog, blog it up. We'll blog it up. Calm down, kid.
The kid's really excited that you're going to post that. Well, I haven't fed him in a week, so it's pretty hot. He's ready to go. Ladies and gentlemen, in Beijing, Juju the panda. You jerk. That was unnecessary. You are necessary. You're being so sensitive. We didn't say it. Nothing. A spring broke here in the studio. How is that getting you so mad? I mean, it's getting to the point where you can't even point out that your friends used to go to perverted raves. Man, a bunch of sex party jokes, I guess, are going to upset a guy now. When did that start? Apparently, you know, people can't take amphetamines and go to...
sexual rave parties anymore without his friends getting upset about him bringing it up, you know? That's weird. Anyway. I never did that. No, it was your character, Zhonglu. Zhonglu. No, you know, for the benefit of new listeners, Sean used to be a furry. Right. I don't know what that is. It's people with a preoccupation. To mascots. It's not a preoccupation. When you say preoccupation. It's not a preoccupation. They would dress up in outfit. Uh-huh. You know, like... Like a panda? Yep, that's what Sean dressed as, as a panda. And what do you do? You go to the convention center. And then there... Dance. No. No, you don't. No, you do. Yeah, I thought you did. Oh. That's creepy. It's him walking into the convention center. Oh, that is... Does a panda have nipple clamps? Yes, he does. That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Why is that six-foot-four panda carrying a whip? And blindfold. You'll find out. It's like a panda masquerade, so they have on masquerade stuff, you know? Mardi Gras mask. Does that Scooby-Doo have a gag ball? You know, first of all, there's two offensive things to Sean there.
You know, the first offensive thing is quit making jokes about my, you know, former perverted preoccupation. And secondly, no one would wear Scooby-Doo, okay? Really? It's animals. That's a cartoon character. Oh, so that doesn't count? Yeah, maybe a dog, but not Scooby-Doo. Really? Like, you would be laughed out of the furry convention if you showed up with Scooby-Doo. I'm glad I didn't wear that. And be like, who brought the new guy? That's what I would have thought. The new guy. But Zhu Zhu, the panda, has attacked for the third time there in Beijing. Attacked? Attacked? Yeah, attacked. Attacked, panda. Beijing Zoo. And I guess people in Beijing think, you know, it's okay to climb over, you know, the walls and get into the... Oh, then they deserve it. Yeah, so this time it was a dad whose five-year-old son had dropped his toy in the thing. Oh, bad idea. And so he climbed over the wall to get it. Yeah, let me just go grab that. Well, you know what? Honestly, if it was a panda enclosure, I didn't know that pandas were aggressive. I thought they were real cute and didn't move very fast. Oh, yeah. And then a while back, the same panda, an intruder, got in and clamped down on the dude's leg, refused to let go. The zookeepers had to...
get tools to pry the animal's jaw open to get it off this dude's leg, had to get surgery, the whole thing. I didn't know that pandas did that. Yeah, and that is my favorite one. Sean is foaming at the mouth. Well, this is my favorite one. Back in 2007, the same panda in the Beijing Zoo, a drunken tourist. Just wanted to hug the panda. Well, they are. They're cute. They're cuddly. So he jumped the enclosure and ran up and tried to hug the bear or the panda. That's when the panda bit him and the drunk guy bit the panda back. Wow. A Biggest Loser contestant. Which one? Who? When? Which one? The overweight one. So it's from this season. My wife watches it and cries. I saw a little clip of it the other day because she watches it on the TiVo.
And I said, this show's very well done. It's, you know, the music that they put, you know, it's all very slickly produced. So this season, it's couples. And the gal that we're talking about, her name is Shannon Thomas. She's a blonde gal, and she's on there with her mom. Which color? Which color? Which color? She's a white girl. I know the guy. The guy is her trainer. The yellow team. The blue team. When you go jogging, do you leave potholes? Oh, God. That's insensitive. Well, you played it. You played it. Yeah, so she was arrested and charged with domestic violence after she got into a fight. I guess she has a tenant. Someone had to try to take her Doritos. Eddie, please, please. Last one. Some sensitivity. Give me those. Someone try to lay a finger on her Butterfinger? All right. Oh, zink. So she has a tenant living in her basement. She runs out her basement to this guy, and I guess she was yelling at him to turn the volume on his TV set down. Rupert! It's fine if you do it, but can you keep it down down there? Just lower it. Rupert, just lower it, please. It's so loud up here.
Yeah, and I don't know how this all went down, but they ended up getting into a little confrontation. She broke some bulbs on his little Christmas tree he had down there and also threw flour at him. Lay off me. I'm starving. Only reference she knows. And then in an inappropriate usage of it. That was awful. Sure. Sure. You're a bad person. What's the problem? That's weird. Anyway. My wife was really upset about something they just did. She said they sent somebody home and it was like she said that they send people home now for real easy reasons. And she's like, I just don't think it's very cool because I know it's TV and everything. Their big twist was that they were teams and they had like each team had to send like a person home. Right. And and then the other person, if they were still there after like 30 days, they got to come back. Huh. So it was kind of weird, I guess. Huh. Well. Yeah, they... It's a journey. It's a roller coaster. Yeah, it is a journey. Second prize instead of steak knives. Well, that's not going to help. Not at all. I mean, that's not going to help the cause. Kind of inappropriate, to be honest. And give you steak knives. Might as well give you, you know, Dorito tongs or something. Not a very good thing. Twinkie kebobs. Yes. Put that coffee down. That's helpful. That actually might be better for me. That was a little bit better, yeah.
What's your trainer telling him? Can't have any more of that? Tori Spelling and final negotiations to return to Beverly Hills 90210. You're not still watching that, are you? Oh, dude. There have been reruns for so long, and they finally had a new episode on this week, so I'm really... Oh, boy! Yes, please. Sky, you really do still watch it? I've watched every episode, yeah. It's so good. Yes, please. It's so good. Don't say that. You don't know. You're losing credit. It is good. I'm not a fan of like the old school cast members. Like they're just there for like no apparent reason. Yeah, Brenda is the worst. Yeah, Brenda is the worst of the worst. The worst. Why is she there? What's her character? She came into town and they needed a director, you know, because she's big in the arts. She's big in the arts. The theater. The theater. She plays Brenda. Yeah.
Yeah, she plays her character. Yeah, and Brenda is big into, you know, the theater scene. And so she goes to the theater. So she was, you know, getting back in touch with Kelly. And Kelly's a guidance counselor there now at the high school. And Kelly said, hey, you know, the director of our school play just quit. We really need somebody. Would you mind stepping in? And so Brenda stepped in to direct. She stepped in a lot more than that. She's such a whore. Tori Spelling is coming back and she's going to play Donna Martin again. Yeah, and this is the deal. The reason that they say Tori is coming back now and agreeing to do it now is because Shannon Doherty, who plays Brenda, was only on for a little while, only agreed to something like six episodes. And now that Shannon Doherty will no longer be there, now Tori Spelling is willing to do it because they didn't want their paths to cross. They wouldn't work together. Yeah. Donna's back, sucker. When's Steve coming back? Oh, dude. Oh, that hair. He's so bald now. The Dark Knight and Carrie Underwood were the big winners last night at the People's Choice Awards. Really? Yep, yep. The Dark Knight won four awards last night. Favorite movie, favorite action movie, favorite on-screen matchup, and favorite cast. Carrie Underwood won three awards. Why do you have to go there, Sky? It's not very nice.
Carrie Underwood won three awards. Favorite female singer, best country song, and favorite star under 35. Cut 37. With a wonderful life, a wonderful career, and the most amazing fans I could ever dream for. Fans and people voting for me are what gave me a career in the first place. And it's so amazing that they continue to support, come out to concerts, buy albums, and of course, give me People's Choice Awards. I got it. referencing American Idol. None of the other ones want to do that. No, Daughtry. Don't hear Daughtry saying that. I heard a Daughtry song yesterday. Did you love it? I was so irritated. I did. I did. I was so irritated at how catchy it was. Was it better than Feels Like Tonight? Alright. I get what you're doing. That's a legitimate question. I love you. I'm trying to ask a question. What's the problem?
Did you rock out with your Tommy Bahama shirt? Stop it. Two jokes in one. The song is... Let's see. Where is it? You know what it sounds like? It sounds like that heart song. Till now I only got my own. I never really cared until I met you. Barracuda. Listen to the opening. Listen to the opening of the song. And tell me if you don't think that that's what they're kind of ripping off here. First few notes are exactly it, right? Get Coldplay on the line. Yeah, it's real catchy. And once it gets started, it sounds like it should be a cardboard box that says pop song. But I...
Found it irresistibly catchy from the first time I heard it. That songs should begin with the chorus. I don't need this part. This is just... Nah, it's filler. Just get to the... Hold on, Mike. Just get to the... You have to have a bun if you're having a hamburger. No, I just want the burger. Give me the burger. Yeah. There it is. I get it. It sounds like it could be in a movie trailer. I like all... I like all songs that sound like they could be in a movie trailer. This summer... They'll use this at the end of Idol when they show the eliminated person. They will. They will. To take yourself on an emotional journey. Vince Vaughn in his first theatrical serious role. Shemmy. Sammy. Great casting. Great casting.
You did a great job. And the other song, man, I thought it was Shinedown. And so I called Shauna and I'm singing the song to Shauna because I think it's Shinedown. And she's like, that is Shinedown. And so she finds it on her computer in her office and she goes, oh, it's not Shinedown. And I go, are you sure? I go, I thought it was. And she goes, no, Eliza. And so when she finally figured out who it was, I was mortified and humiliated. David Cook, right? Yeah. David Cook. It's not Shined Out. No. It's not. It's far from it. And this is what I heard right here. And I'm like, I'm listening. I'm like, who is this? Because when the chorus hits, you know, which is where it should start anyway. I don't know why you need this. I was like, oh, that's a pretty good Shined Out song.
Have you heard Archuleta's song? You may be into that. Crush, I think it's called. David Archuleta. Look it up, Mike. It's good. This sounds good in my ears. Oh, yeah. Catchy pop song, you know? Let me hear Archabella. See if I like that. What's it called? What's that? Crush, I think. It's up. Front page. Get ready, Mike. Oh, maybe I do like this. Very back street. Yeah, buddy. You love it. You'll love it. Shut your mouth. He knows just the right gay place. You know what's really funny about it?
You know what's great about it is that you can replace any of the American Idol winners with this song. Oh, for sure. Like, it could be the girl that sang Tattoo. What's Jordan Sparks? Like, Jordan Sparks could sing this song, you know? You can interchange all of them. You know what this song reminds me of? I got to the movie theater 20 minutes early. I'm sitting there with my snaps. That's exactly what it is. Doing trivia. Oh, Matt LeBlanc. That's the answer. Matt LeBlanc. Thank you. Yeah, yeah. With the chip. With the monkey. Hey, babe, when you go to the bathroom right now, can you get me some M&Ms? You want the peanuts? Yeah, just get the, yeah, whatever. I'm there with my babes, yeah. I'm a man and you're a man. What is that called? Like, is it like movie? Movie tracks. Movie tracks? Oh, wow. You're listening to movie tracks. That's the latest from David Archuleta. It's his song called?
crush. I'm Rick Johnson. Wait, Rick Johnson? What? Oh, man. That's Jim Carrey. Yep, it's Jim Carrey. Let's see. 5701053 is our number. Oh, Scarlett Johansson says that her and Ryan Reynolds are not going to have kids anytime soon. Yeah, there's always the rumors about pregnancy, and she says she's sick of all of it, so she's just putting it out there. She's not pregnant, and she's not going to be pregnant anytime soon. She's got plenty of time. So she says, according to the tabloids, she's already been pregnant several times, so just clear it up. Well, because the tabloids are always reporting, oh, guess who's pregnant, and blah, blah, blah. Yes, I did too. I was like, ooh, whoa, that's too much information. Don't need to know that.
So she's clearing it up, not pregnant, not anytime soon. Larry Flint and Joe Francis. Larry Flint, Hustler Magazine, a very famous pornographer. And Joe Francis, the inventor and owner of Girls Gone Wild, are asking the government for a bailout because business is bad. Come on, Mike. Maybe it could affect the economy if they don't get the help they need. Yeah, they say everybody else is getting a bailout, so they want theirs. And this story has caught on. And now, like, news agencies are asking, like, senators and stuff what they think about bailing out Larry Flynn and Joe Francis. So they say they only need about $5 billion, and, you know, that should be fine. You on birth control, or are you sticking with Congress? Hey, Mike. Yeah. Line one, we have somebody asking for the owner of the business she just called. Ah, okay. This is a telephone. Yes, hello. Hello. If you put them on hold, they could hear. Dang it. So close. Very close. Oh, I wish, I wish, I wish. When those things come in, I just love them. I just love them when those things happen. Congressman asked Nancy Pelosi to delay the House votes for a football game.
Oh, good. Which one? Well, specifically Republican Congressman Cliff Stearns from Florida because of the Florida-Oklahoma game. And so he wrote down all his names and then all the Florida names and all the Oklahoma names and asked Nancy Pelosi. And she said no. No, we will not delay the vote. Yeah, that's not nice. You guys can go to your football games. Couldn't she just be cool? Typical Democrat. No. What? I mean, you're going to hold up the whole friggin' country so you can watch... Really? What are we voting on? Everything. Is that right? No. Yeah. Every single thing is being voted on. Yeah, everything today. Let's see. Passengers had to tackle a guy who claimed to have a bomb on a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Yeah, that's always fun, huh? That's a good idea to do on the plane. Yeah, so they had just gotten into LAX from Atlanta. It was a Delta flight, and they were taxiing on the runway when the guy started freaking out. He started running up and down the aisle on the plane yelling, I've got a bomb, and then tried to go for the exit door and also was kind of like attacking a passenger that was there by the exit door. So that's when other passengers got together.
They tackled him. Let's roll. Tied him up with those plastic little zip ties and locked him in a seat until they, you know. How'd they have those? I carry mine in my backpack. Zip ties? You carry your zip ties in your backpack? Yeah, in case you ever need to zip tie something. Okay. I'm like, what? You know, like your friend's hands behind their back because they just want to fight. In my travel bag, there's certain things. In your just-in-case backpack? Yes, it's the just-in-case backpack. You never know. What do you need them for? Sandwiches? I don't know. Seriously. You can zip tie the hole together. You can zip tie shoelaces. You can do zip ties to do anything. You are something else with that thing. Zip ties and duct tape, dude. I can make you a suit. Wow. I'm not kidding. I believe you. That is different. There you go. The army is having to apologize to some families, and it's a pretty bad mistake I think they made. Uh-oh. Yeah, that's not good. Not good. Well, the intention is good, but, you know, not paying attention to detail. Yeah, those details are important.
So when, you know, somebody passes away in the war, in the military, they send these letters to relatives of the deceased, notifying them of different services they now qualify for and different gifts and things they can get from nonprofits because they lost a family member in the military. And, you know, they address the letter personally to, you know, the family of blah, blah, blah. Well, somehow. 7,000 letters went out, and where it's supposed to be addressed to the family member, it says, Dear John Doe. A bit of an oversight where they didn't fill in the name, and so all of them said, Dear John Doe. And that could really bum somebody out, you know? Yeah. Make them really feel like a number. So they said, there are no words to adequately apologize for this mistake or for the hurt you may have caused. Saving Private Ryan all over here. That's right. But they do go on to say, it is important. to remember the original intent of the letter and it's not lost. Yep. Okay. 5701053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. The Razzies have been announced. The nominations for the Razzies. Worst movie? Worst movies? Yep. Of 08. Tell you about that when we come back. Is being a mom and earning a college degree.

Hi, is this where I sign in for the Worldwide Interglobal Micro-Macroeconomic Conference? Yes, but the Worldwide Interglobal Micro-Macroeconomic Conference is a gathering of leading financial experts. And you seem to be a burrito. Actually, I'm the cheesy double beef burrito from Taco Bell. You do sound delectable. But can you describe your economic theory? Seven words. Taco Bell's Cheesy Double Beef Burrito. The Razzie nominations have been announced.
Or Sean's favorites. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. And it's weird. They nominate like 10 things in each category. I don't know why we need so many nominees. There's a lot of bad stuff out. I guess. Worst picture. Speed Racer. For sure. Saw it. He did, Eddie? He finally saw it. Holy. I don't know what the Wachowski brothers were smoking. It is the worst movie ever. It is. What's the deal? They thought they were going to be really... I don't know. I can't figure it out because it's kind of kid-friendly, but it's not entirely. And so I don't know what they were thinking. It's awful. We also have Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans, The Day the Earth Stood Still. Thank you, Sean. That's ridiculous. Awful. High School Musical 3. The Hottie and the Naughty. The Love Guru. Yes. The Happening. Meet Dave. The Happening. What's Happening? And Witless Protection Program. That was a good movie. What's the matter with that movie? They also do worst prequel, sequel, remake, or ripoff. Indiana Jones 4. They also list High School Meets. Indiana Jones 4? Yeah. Which is real bad.
I still haven't seen it because I got kind of scared by you guys. Some parts are real good and some parts are not. High School Musical 3 again. Rambo, Star Wars, The Clone Wars. Yeah, that was terrible. Although the TV series is pretty good. It is. There's a TV series? Yeah. On what? On Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network. It's very good. It's not too bad. I know. My eyeballs hurt. Why? Well, I think it's... The sinuses or something. I got that going on too. Your eyeballs hurt? Yeah, I got this headache that goes right over my eyeball from my nose. It feels like you want to take them out and massage them and then put them back in. I want to put them on a little hot washcloth. Yes, that's the deal. Here's what I want. I want to take my eyeballs out and then I want to take a hot washcloth and put it where my eyeballs were. In the sockets. In the sockets and then just hold them. And then hold them. Hold the. the hot washcloths in by holding my hands up to my eyes. Why don't you take some throat coat and put it in a little eyedropper and just drop it in your eyes? I would not recommend it. Take some throat coat and just throw it in your face. Use some eye coat. Oh. I need some sinus coat. I need surgery, but I won't have it. What surgery? Sinus surgery. Is that the deviated septum? Yep. Well, it's more than that.
It's that my sinuses are not, they need to be like drilled and made bigger. They do. My dad just got that. They're called eustachia tubes. Your sinuses are these little things that from your eye to the inside of your nose, there's a little tube that passes between your eye and your nose. Yeah, right. And it's called the eustachia tube. I used to take that back in Boston. What's up? Oh, yeah. Hey, let's be there by 8 o'clock. We'll take the eustachia tube. So why won't you have the surgery? What's your problem? I don't want them to. You know how they do it, Skye? They, like, they got to cut into your face. Oh, that is awesome. Dude. Oh, you'll look so tough afterwards, though. They got to numb it first. Numb, num, num, num, num, num. I don't know how it's done, so somebody could probably tell me if they go in and drill inside your nose or if they actually have to pull your face over. Don't they go up your nose? They pull it back. If they can fix your heart through your thigh, I don't think they have to cut your face open.
Oh, Sky, you are so dramatic. I'm just saying, I don't think they have to. Yeah, I heard they do the whole face. Yeah, they take it off. And they put John Travolta's face on. Yeah, that's right. Like face off. Oh, that's weird. Yeah. 570-1053 is our number. Eddie, what are those things called that you put in the shower and they make your passages open? Oh, I used one yesterday. Shower soother. Shower misters. Yeah, but be careful with them. They're dangerous. Be careful. No, they're not. Jump on it? No, I drank it. I snorted it. I kind of kicked it around with my foot a little to get it in the right spot. I'd play with it in the drain and get the last remnants down with my big toe. And then my foot was kind of burning afterwards. You don't have to toss everything. Oh, I shouldn't have said that probably. Yeah, so be careful. Every once in a while. Okay. That's way too much. Did you use your big toe for that one, too? Yes, I did. What the heck? Where's my big toe? Okay. What are you talking about? Stop it. Oh, weirdo. I got a sore abs. Oh, yeah? Okay. Tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen. What do we got? Tomorrow, we have the debut of a new game, and it's called... I don't want to do this.
This old Skye. I'm going to kill it. It's about her being old? No. You know what it is? That works. Whatever. Skye, remember when we did the handyman challenge? No, I don't recall that. Oh, I do. I won it. I remember. I was awesome. I killed it. I was awesome, dude. I won two out of three. The stupid ones. Skye thinks that she's Miss Handyman, right? I know it all, bro. She knows about all the trades. She knows about... Yeah, save. I know it all, bro. Shut up. She knows all the trades. She knows tile, carpet, whatever. She knows them all. Yep, I got it. And so we're going to open up the phone lines, and you can call and try to stump her. Oh, my God. And if you can stump her, then you will. Win a prize. Which is great, because how many freaking electricians, plumbers, like, construction people do we have, like, listening? It's crazy. Yeah, that's great. That's right. It's freaking awesome, because the guy's going to smoke them all. Yeah. Eddie, let's try to think of a question for her. Okay. Oh, please. What's the stuff you use when you're filling in, like... I got a question. Are you talking about caulking? Hey.
How many volts are in your average light socket? Oh, that's a tricky one. Okay. Well, 12 volts is a battery. And I know there's a 210 volt, but I think that's the beefy one. I think that's a beefy one that you get put in your garage for special stuff so you don't trip circuits. It's the 210. So what are you saying? I'm going to say 100. 125. I was close. You're very close. 570-1053. See, I'm good. You're good. You can win a prize tomorrow. Also on the show tomorrow, B-Rob's got a new song dropping. Yes. Drop it like it's wrong. That's right. 570-1053. Give us a call right now. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones so you can call in and...
We'll do it up. When B-Rob was writing that parody song, he spent two hours writing it yesterday, right? And he finishes it up, tries to email it to himself, and he got logged off. Oh, that's the word. And he lost the entire song. But it should have saved in your drafts. Well, it saves it in my drafts, but it saves like when I first brought up the email. So it was just... lyrics, and it wasn't what I had written. I've done that before. That sucks. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. Did you? A little bit. Gabe tried helping me, and I snapped at him real quick. You were at home? Yeah. Were you writing on your email, like your work email? Uh-huh. It doesn't save drafts. I wonder if it's a Safari thing. You have PC? Safari? You have PC? Do you do it online, you mean? Like through the browser?
Because it won't do it if you're on the browser. Yeah, I was on the browser. No. I was on the browser and I wrote something. Yeah. And Sky said, it should be in your drafts. No. And it doesn't save anything in my drafts. No. Because I replied to my, what I did was I opened the email that I sent myself and replied to it. Yeah. And I was just making revisions, you know? Yeah. And. It'll sign you out. Yeah, yeah, it signed me out after a certain amount of time, but usually when I hit send, it lets me log back in, you know, without affecting the email. Yeah. And this time, it just closed the email and, like, re-logged the whole thing. I wrote something that was brilliant. Wait a minute. And it was gone. And Sky says it should be in your drafts. It was not. I wrote Barack Obama's acceptance speech on it, but it didn't save it. Now what? I gave him the lyrics to a Sublime song. That'll probably still be good. 570-1053 is our phone number. April 25, 1992. I don't practice.
Santeria. I don't need no crystal ball. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. Hi. I get to finally talk to you. This is great. Hi. I think out of you and you and everybody else, I love Ashley the best. Yeah. Thank you. Ashley gets a lot of, Ashley gets a lot of support because she's a wonderful singer. And I think that's kind of, I think that's kind of, I think that's kind of what happens is that listeners love her because she's a good singer. She's got a gift. Yeah, she does have a gift. That's pretty good, isn't it? What is she saying? Have you heard her do men at work? I'm very tired. And I'm not feeling right. All I wish is to be alone. Like a robot? Stay away. Don't you invade my home. This is the worst. Don't come in. That's good stuff. Thank you. So, Lisa.
I called. Let me tell you why I called. Okay, go ahead. Okay, I just wanted to let you know I heard you talk about sinus surgery, and I've had five. I've had a total survival over the last 20 years. They're like Pringles once you start. Yeah, you just love them so much. Why five? Because the first three they didn't take. They had to make holes in my head so that my sinuses would drain, and they kept fusing up too fast. A little catheter for your head. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Oh, man. No, I was wondering. But they go up through your nose and your throat. And that's so you don't have any scars on your face. Oh, you're fine, Mike. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, listen. The fourth one, that took in that area. But then the fifth one, I started getting a little funny growth or something. So the guy was a total massive, I swear. He went up through the top part. of my gum. So he opened up my cheek. But see, it still doesn't leave a scar on your face. And that was the surgery that took the best. But since he was such a little kind of masochistic kind of guy, he didn't give me any pain pills because he said that I shouldn't hurt.
It should just be numb. You shouldn't hurt. Okay, but he did rub some dirt on it. Yes. Do you have to take anything now? Do you still have to take Claritin? Yes, I'm still a constant decongestant junkie. Yeah, that's what I want to eliminate. Yeah, but see, I've never had the deviated septum thing, and that's what I need to do, and I don't want to do it. That's what my dad got and said changed his life. Yeah, but I don't want to do that because I don't want to change my singing voice like Evergreen. And when I sing all those, you know, all of the Barbra Streisand numbers, I don't want to change, you know, those numbers. That's right. We all have our gifts to consider. Thank you. Thank you, Lisa. Thank you very much. Drag one more time coming out of the number. Coming out of the number. Oh, to live in an era where they called a song a number, huh? Yeah. P1JMax on the line. What's up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Hey, dude, I have to thank you guys and I have to really thank P1Danny because one of the podcasts I was listening to and my hell bent on convincing my girlfriend to become a P1, listening in my car to an old podcast and you guys were talking about the importance of watching sporting events live. Uh-huh.
And because of that, I got out of a trip to Long Beach to go meet a bunch of her family on Sunday. So now I get to watch the Steeler game, and I'm so stoked. That's cool. Huge. Mike's show is working for you, dude. Hey, thank you, guys. Thanks, dude. We'll see you. Mike's show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, this is P1 Eric. I was wondering when Ashley's going to come out with her own cover CD of The Greatest Bits. That'd be great, man. I would love to. That'd be great. I really would. I think she should. Mike. I think it would be a good thing, man. Thank you. The lovely and talented Missy's up next. Today on The Lost and Found, she's going to give you songs you haven't heard in a long time, so you better be tuning in. If she can find it, she'll play it. Better be listening. Be back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. We'll do it all over again. The Mikey Show's out late.
