The show centered on personal reveals: Ashley admitted failing her cheerleading tryout, Sean described his New Age band Solstice, Zeth recounted being tasered for graffiti, and Eddie confessed that he managed Scoops and Tubes. Mikey said Rachmaninoff moved him to tears as a child, while Boston Rob unveiled his breakdancing crew Pimp Five and Sky remembered being the lone 19-year-old in a dance class full of younger girls. Mikey also offered Mondo the sincere idea of a romantic memory jar, which Boston Rob relentlessly mocked with tougher-sounding alternatives. Sky explained both the reversal in the fatal-crash purse case and the new restrictions on Marines visiting Mexico. The cast praised Danny Gokey's emotionally grounded American Idol audition, then staged a surreal interview in which Billy the Elephant complained about zoo life and flaunted celebrity connections.
What happened, in order
The Memory Jar
Mikey told Mondo how he once filled a mason jar with written memories for Rebecca, moving her to tears while Boston Rob mocked the gesture with increasingly macho names.
The Purse Case Flips
Sky reported that charges against a man accused of stealing a fatal-crash victim's purse were dropped after a Marine reservist said he returned it, though missing cash and passports kept him under suspicion.
Marines Need Mexico Permission
Sky explained that Marines now needed written approval and anti-terrorism training before visiting Mexico because of cartel violence, even when traveling to see family.
Ashley's Cheerleading Rejection
Ashley revealed that she forgot the routine at her senior-year cheerleading audition and was the only one in her friend group who failed to make the squad.
Sean's Solstice Years
Sean admitted that he loved New Age music in high school and played keyboards and wrote music for an instrumental band called Solstice.
Zeth Gets Tasered
Zeth disclosed that San Diego police tasered him at 19 after catching him making illegal stencil art and watching him try to run away twice.
Manager of Scoops and Tubes
Eddie surprised Mikey by revealing that he once managed a children's indoor playground called Scoops and Tubes and even hosted birthday parties there.
Mikey Cried to Rachmaninoff
Mikey said Rachmaninoff's music in Somewhere in Time moved him to tears at age 11 or 12 because he felt the lovers' profound loss.
Danny Gokey's Audition
The cast was moved by widower Danny Gokey's story and then agreed that his soulful American Idol audition made him one of the strongest singers they had heard.
Billy the Elephant Calls In
A fictional Billy the Elephant complained about celebrity interviews and zoo life while name-dropping Slash, Taylor Swift, Scott Weiland, Lars Ulrich, and other famous friends.
Boston Rob's Pimp Five
Boston Rob revealed that as a teenager he belonged to a five-man breakdancing crew called Pimp Five that practiced on scavenged cardboard and at a Masonic lodge.
Sky's Awkward Dance Class
Sky revealed that at 19 she prepaid for a nonrefundable dance course only to discover that every other student was a girl between roughly 12 and 16, forcing her through an awkward class and recital.

Well, sources are saying the Cowboys are actually considering releasing Terrell Owens. Really? Yeah, they say they want to try and improve the team chemistry in the locker room. Oh, wow. I wonder, now, Eddie, does releasing mean that they eat? His salary? No, in the NFL, your contracts are not guaranteed. That's why a lot of these guys ask for a lot of the money up front. Yeah. So you get paid your guaranteed money and your signing bonus and all that stuff. Yeah. And then your contract's not really guaranteed. What is the contract about? What does that even mean? Just what you're going to get paid. What you're going to get paid. Yeah. Wow. In other words, they go, it might as well be. In other words, if they sign a three-year contract, they say, the spirit of this agreement is that we'd like to keep you for three years. You know, we'd like to. And this is what we'll pay you. However, we reserve the right to say, you're fired. And it sounds like the contracts more protect the team because it's not like the player can leave within those three years. But within the three years, the team can take. That's why they get $18 million signing bonuses.
Plus, you know, they'll say, you know, so-and-so signed a $60 million contract, 30 of it guaranteed. So he's guaranteed $30 million. But the life of the contract's not guaranteed. Wow. So basically, T.O. has a lot of money in the bank. Oh, yeah. He's not going to be, you know, scraping pennies for extra meat at Taco Bell. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So he gets signed. He gets a big chunk of dough. He sticks it in the bank, and then they cut him, and he goes, all right, well, see who else wants to give me a big bonus. Whatever team he signs with will do the exact same thing. Somebody will sign him if he gets released. And when we hear it, all we have to do is think, oh, now we can start praying for that quarterback. Pretty much. I mean, that's what he does. That's his M.O. 570-1053 is a phone number. Our text number is 35253. And our answering machine number is 858-715-1923. Get on the texts while you can. I just heard yesterday that the texts will last through the end of the month. I just heard that yesterday. What does that mean? It means budget cuts will not allow us to continue to do text messages because it costs money.
That's right. You're kidding me. Yeah, dude. Shut up. No. I was all over it. Oh, that is sad. And I came back and that was the deal. So we got a couple of weeks of text messages left. I might be able to figure something out, Mike. Really? Maybe, yeah. That would rule. Yeah. If we could figure it out and keep doing it, I would love it. I will try and get it figured out for you by next week. I love the texts, man. Really? I love the texts. Yeah. The text rule. So text us, 35253. And again, the phone number 5701053. And we take open phones at the beginning of the show. Anybody that wants to can call in. And you can talk about anything, what you watched on TV. Ask us what we're watching on TV. Ask us what we're doing. Make a comment. Anything you want. It's an open forum at the beginning of the show.
And there are seven of us on the Mikey Show. It's a lot. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. 38 years old. I went to the gym yesterday and worked out. And I didn't do any weights. I do weights two times a week. And I'm going to start working up to doing cardio three times a week. Wow. Very good. Over at Frog's Gym. Or Frog's Fitness. And so yesterday... It was the first day of doing cardio. You loved it? Yeah, I loved it. Cardio is the best. Isn't it? So much fun. I was unabashed in watching the Food Network while working out. I know other people want to, but they're embarrassed and think to themselves, well, what will people think of me working out while watching the Food Network? people will walk by and see that and think that the irony is humiliating. Is it like when I, like last night, was stuffing my face with brownies while watching The Biggest Loser? Yes. Kind of like that? Yes, it is. Stop eating! Yeah, it's like stuffing your face with brownies while drinking a Diet Coke to wash it down. Right. We got some irony up in here. You know it. It's like ordering a ton of food.
But then at the very end of it, asking for a Cherry's Jubilee and then pronouncing, but that's it. That's it. All right, Cherry's Jubilee and that's it. Yeah. It's kind of like that. Well, anything else, you'd be a pig. Yes, of course. Of course. Yeah. A small, a small chocolate shake. Yeah. Because I'm trying to wash my finger. Not a large, a small. Don't give me a large because that would, you know, I'm not in, I'm not trying to be decadent. It's like over the top. I'm not trying to overindulge. Can I have a junior Western bacon chi? A junior. Junior. Western bacon chi. I'm trying to watch my figure. I don't want a Western bacon chi. Let's be clear. I don't want a Western bacon chi. It's too much. It's way too much. I'm on a diet. I won't be able to finish it. It's a waste of food. I'm trying to watch my figure. Sure. Come on, guy. And I'm going to go with a filet of fish sandwich since that has less calories because it's fish. It's healthy. Yeah. It's good healthy food.
Never mind that they take the fish and stick it in fat. No, no. I'm just wanting a four nugget thing. I'm trying to watch my calorie intake. No, what you do is you get a six nugget. Just take two out. Oh, yeah. Just take two out. I'll take a four nugget. That's easy. Well, that's what it's all about is just sort of taking what you would normally have and reducing it and cutting back. Right. You know? Cherry's Jubilee and that's it. That's enough. And then you know what? I'm going to just call it a day. Well, I want to, you know, give myself a little treat. Yeah. As opposed to the past, you know, I would say a Cherry's Jubilee, I might go for more. But this time, this time, Cherry's Jubilee and then that's all. All right, Cherry's Jubilee and that's it. Thank you. Weight loss. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. And Eddie is going to have a baby, although he is not carrying the child. What? His wife is. Thank God. You know what I'm saying? Okay. Yeah, they do hard work that we don't do. Well, their bodies, like, weird things happen. Yeah. Which is crazy. Like, I had in my entire...
Three years of dating and marrying my wife. Never heard her burp. Ever. Now. That's fantastic. Holy cow. Really? She could win a belching contest. Really? She has such bad, like, indigestion. Really? And it's just, it's hysterical. Yeah. Wow. She probably wouldn't want me to tell you guys that, but. Well, you better not then. So, that's just between us. Okay. That's her. Hello. Holy moly. Oh, my. You're awesome. Big round of applause for that one, ladies and gentlemen. Skye is our news girl, and she is 31 years of age. Immediately upon walking in, I could tell she washed her hair last night. It looks good. Thank you. What are you wearing? What is the orange? I got this from Ashley for Christmas. It is coral. Coral is the color. It's a coral tracksuit. I would say it's more pumpkin. Okay, I thought it was. Oh, jeez. Coral's more of a pink. We're fighting already. Well, I really wanted to get the visual because I'm proud of this. What did coral look like? What would that look like? It's more of like a pink, I thought. Okay. I don't know. I don't know. I'm saying rust. Okay. Oh, rust is good. That could work. We'll settle on rust. I like rust. We should make up colors. Yeah. Okay.
Orange Spice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Orange Spice. Why don't you guys make up a color for Sean's headphones? Why don't you guys do that? Ridiculous. Neon. Yes. Nauseous Seafoam. And Sean O'Boy is our sound effects man. And he is in what we call the in-between stage in the facial hair. He'll let it grow out. Then he'll cut it all off. What is he doing? Let it grow out and cut it all off. He just turned the lights off in his office. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. That is odd. I don't understand that. Why is he acting like there's nothing wrong? I don't know. I don't know why he does it. We're going to go to the phones in a second. 570-1053. It's so weird. Get in here. Call in. Our P1s are Mikey Show listeners. P1s call in. They get to the point. Turn down the radio and they don't cuss.
And if you know those rules, then you're a P1. Know the rules. And our P1s are a part of a much bigger picture called the P1 Army. And we love the Army, man. They got their own websites. They got fan sites. We love our listeners. And we refer to our listeners as P1s. And they listen to us for long periods of time. And they are constantly, constantly. creating new P1 listeners. Yes. And they call us in the morning at 570-1053. Let's see. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 25 years of age, and she has a dog named Sammy. I'm taking her to the vet today. You're taking her to the vet? Is she better? Is she better? No, Sean. No, she's not better yet. We're going to get the medicine for her bacterial ear infection. I hope that improves. That's right. Boston Rob is wearing a Boston Red Sox sweatshirt and baseball cap. And baseball cap. And he has the word Boston tattooed on his neck, on his throat, to be more specific.
And he is about to drop a new record. Whoa. He is about to drop a new record. And let me tell you, this new one is going to feature all the men on the show. What? That's right. Okay. We are all going to be singing on it. And it's going to blow everybody away. Awesome. It's really going to change the music industry. Wow. It really will. Yeah. Let's see. And then finally, there is the artist formerly known. As Sir Roosevelt, Zethian Oates III, Junior, Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. All right, Cherry's Jubilee, and that's it. Way too much. And he is a phone screener. Oh, man. Quimby told me about Ricardo Montalban yesterday. Terrible. We love Ricardo Montalban. We do the Rourke and Tattoo voice here on the air. We love Ricardo Montalban. You know, Ricardo Montalban, he was boss on Fantasy Island. Cut 30. I know you're going to hate this tattoo, but tomorrow we begin staging the first annual Miss Fantasy Island Beauty Pageant. Help Miss Queen. Simple. Sally is one of the contestants, and in the end, she will be crowned the most beautiful of all. Queen of Fantasy Island, don't you see? You mean the contest is fixed? I like the word...
Pretty determined. Oh, I love it. I love Ricardo Montalban. That was the first time I'd ever heard that. Really? Yeah. Me too. That's a trick. You guys have never heard what the real dude sounded like? No. Wow. I like you guys better. He got to be very famous as a result of Fantasy Island. Obviously, he had an acting career before that, but it was Fantasy Island that really put him on the map. my dad just loved the, obviously that he was Latino and that he really was into some Latino things. I know new listeners are going to think I'm joking when I say this, but I'm Mexican. I'm, I'm Hispanic, but your voice, I know, I know my voice, I'm very, uh, my voice is very, very Anglo. It's very Anglo and I don't speak Spanish, you know? Uh,
And sometimes, you know, some of our more zealous Hispanic listeners will call in and refer to me as a coconut. I don't even know what that means, Mike. What is that? Why do you have a pen ready to write it down? That's why I don't forget. A coconut means you're brown on the outside, sure. But you're white on the inside. They consider this a big-time put-down, and I feign that I'm insulted. I like to feign insults so that they will feel like they really got one over on me. And I feel that that's good for them, because they go through the rest of the day, and then when they'll think about it every once in a while, they'll go, ha, got in. But anyway, my dad used to love Ricardo Montalban on the Chrysler commercials. Oh, yeah. Oh. Cut 29. I know my own needs. And what I need from an automobile, I know I get from this new Cordova. Quality of Cordova's workmanship. The tastefulness of its appearance. Request nothing beyond the leather. Crucial luxury of seats available even in soft Corinthian leather. Yes. There it is. I love it. This is a better type of leather. Of course, we all know from probably...
His greatest theatrical role. Yes. As Khan. Yes. Cut 33. Such overacting by Kirk, you know. Yeah. It's like. Oh, Sean has the look. You are a jerk. Whoa. Who is? It's not overacting, dude. He's playing a character. I mean, that's what the character. Hold on, dude. That's what the character requires. I felt it was a little over the top. It's not over the top, dude. It's exactly what's required of it. By who? By the character. Sean loves Willie Shatner. You know that. According to who? According to Sean. Please. You don't get it. Admiral. Admiral. Admiral. Alpha 5. Just in case. P1 Mondo. What's up?
What's up, dude? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shut your mouth, Rob. Wait a minute. I want to hear if Mikey has an idea. Actually, I do. As a matter of fact. I have one too, so I'm going to wait. This one year for my girlfriend at the time, now we're married, Mondo, but at the time for my girlfriend, Rebecca, now my wife, I went and I got a mason jar and And I took a piece of paper. Boy, it's kind of embarrassing to even describe, you know, because, you know, as guys, it's kind of tough to even tell this story. But I took a piece of paper and I wrote down memories that her and I had created together on separate little pieces of paper. And I, you know, folded them up and I put them inside the mason jar. And on the outside of it, I wrote memory jar. Thoughtful.
That's right, and I gave it to her, and she opened it up, and she started taking out the little piece of paper and reading these sometimes funny, sometimes romantic memories that we had together, and it brought her to tears. She loved it so much, and she's never forgot that memory jar. I did a certain thing that was similar. Rob does this every time. He makes fun of it. He makes fun of it. Mine was more of a... Papoose of affection. Oh, wow. That's really nice, too. It was kind of like, well, if you don't have a mason jar, if you're not a mason, I used a mug and put lady feelings in it. Or if you're a contemporary and you're that new on the hip trends kind of 2009 guy, you can do the Snuggie of infatuation. That's the latest. Or, you know, if your lady likes a sip of the drink, she likes the old cough medicine, you could do the flask of wimp thoughts. Thank you. A chalice of scrutiny. That's always good around the anniversary. Mondo, this is what Rob does every time I give out. A salad dressing bottle of lovey-feelys will work. Let's shake it first. You have to, yeah, yeah.
So anyway, Mondo, that's my idea. It doesn't cost much. And Rob ends up making some girly or effeminate name around it. Wait a minute. What? It is not girly or effeminate or whatever, dude. You can be very manly and do the keg of emotional junk. Oh, wow. That's nice. That is very manly. Mondo, I wish you the best. And, you know, if you do. Do this. Don't tell any guys about it because, you know, this might happen. You know what I mean? But anyway, there you go, Mondo. You got it. Ladies and gentlemen, P1 Scooby is on the line. What's up, Scoob? What's up, dude? I just wanted to say how awesome that interview was. Are you still on this, Scooby? Did he call yesterday? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's been in, like, a euphoria ever since this interview. Yes. Well, no, no. Check it out, though. Check it out. You're so cute. I mean, you can look at it on two different levels. The level that Quimby was looking at, you know, for her inspiration. But then on the level that I was looking at for a family man inspiration. You know how he was talking about he... Wanting to spend time with his family. Yeah. You know...
It's available on our podcast. Our podcast now is the entire show. We podcast the entire show. And Dan Patrick yesterday was one of the best interviews I've ever had in my radio career. And I don't mean from my standpoint. I don't mean that I executed an interview particularly well. I mean that he was one of the best interviews I've ever had. He was really, really good. The things that he said, how open he was, how honest he was, how real he was. And if you didn't hear it, because it was at the end of the show yesterday, Dan Patrick was in the studio. Go to MikeyShow.com and listen to the last hour of our podcast. His interview was incredible. He was great. He was really good. I was so glued. to my radio. That's cool, man. And are we putting those pictures on the website? Because Scooby texted me yesterday when wanting these pictures. And I said, well, I'm sure we're going to put them on the website, but I don't see them up there. Yeah, yeah, we will. Zeth, can you help us get those suckers up? So they'll be up later for you, Scoob. Thank you. P1 Chris. Hi, Chris. Chris, are you there?
I think we had a bad cell connection. P1 Leonidas is on the line. Good morning, cast and crew. Good morning, brother. Hey, I'm right there with P1 Scoob and most of the P1s, and I have to say that Dan Patrick thing was moving, touching, and I had to go back home and listen to it again. Oh, that's cool. I want to hear it again. I want to hear it again. I want to hear all the stuff that Dan was saying. It was just a really genuine interview. And listen. It's part of the reason that he is so popular on the radio. He is able to, in front of that microphone, emit. Is that the right word? Emote. Emote. He grabs you in and holds on tight. That's right. That's it. I want to tell Mikey I love you. Eddie, your shepherd's pie is amazing. And on the heels of your blog, what do you think of the new rumors of LT possibly being traded? I think my blog covered all that. He may not have heard it, though. Did you hear the blog being read yesterday, Leonidas? Yes, I did. But then I went home and saw A.J. Smith blabbing about how he may be traded. A.J. Smith said that? Yeah, I was on the news last night. I guess they had a closed meeting, LT and A.J. Smith. It was all over Channel 8, Channel 9, Channel 10, all those stations. And I just couldn't believe my ears of what I just heard after hearing Eddie's.
I was like, wow, what does Eddie think of this? I haven't heard it. And AJ said specifically that LT could be traded? He could be traded. I don't know about that. And they were even taking calls on the radio station or, I'm sorry, emails of what San Diego thinks. And I was kind of overwhelmed and surprised how a lot of fans were like, you know, I'd like to see him play for another AFC West team to see. Him come back and beat the Chargers twice a year. I'd like to see him. There were people that were saying that? Yeah, people were emailing the radio or the TV. I was really surprised last night. Leonidas, do you think that the sentiment with something like that was that, hey, if people don't believe in LT, he should go to another team and show them? Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, well, listen, I don't know. We're going to look for it and try to find that story. I didn't.
hear about that. And I find it very hard to believe that AJ Smith himself would tell anybody that he had that conversation. And I find it hard to believe that LT would walk out of that meeting and talk to anybody and say that he had that conversation. And they would be the only two people that would know about the conversation. Yeah, exactly. That's what you would think and that's what you would hope. But I guess they have small quotes from both of them. that they were putting all over the screen. I was just, I was in disbelief. I couldn't believe it. Huh. Well, we'll look into it, man, and we'll try to find out more about it. They love you guys. Rock on, turkeys. Love you, brother. Got to find out about that because I haven't seen anything like that. Eddie hasn't either. Wouldn't that be the biggest story around? I would think so. The lead story? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. I'll have to keep reading. Let's see. This weekend's a playoffs. Playoffs? The pick-up playoff. Yeah, this weekend's a pick-up playoff. And it's down to four now. It's down to four. The Cardinals are going to play the Giants. No, no, no. The Giants. The Cardinals are going to play the Eagles in Arizona, which I'm very excited to see. Me too. This is all on Sunday. First time ever that the Arizona Cardinals are in a championship game. Wow. Thank you. Unbelievable. Thanks, Fitzy.
Thanks, Fitzy. Unbelievable. In their history, ever. Ashley says, thanks, Fitzy. Well, please. Number 11. I bow down. Wow. You should, too. That's real shit. And then in the AFC, the Ravens and the Steelers. Correct. If it's up to me, for my money, I want to see Pittsburgh play the Cardinals in the Super Bowl. I think that would be a fun one. That would be fun, man. Winners. The Ravens and the Eagles? Bleh. Boring. Who cares? I would not even think I'd watch. Oh, dude, that'd be tough. I just got no emotional investment in that at all. But I like the Cardinals. I'd like to see them go and win the Super Bowl. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness. We got a huge show for you today. 570-1053 is our phone number. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. Our blogs are up right now if you want to read them. You can go to MikeyShow.com and read our blogs. I want to remind you, too, that our Best FCD is still available for $10, and all the proceeds go into Rady's Children's Hospital. And the Best FCD is called Sweet Berry Wine. It's our Best F for 08. It's at MikeyShow.com as well. Don't forget, the comedy showdown is tomorrow. Oh, my God. Boston Rob versus Boy Blunder. Wow. Awesome. Rob's been stressed out about it this whole time, and he still has a look of total.
And complete. He's already, it looks in his face like he's already resigned. Defeated. Defeated. If you go up there with that attitude, it's not going to help, right? You've got to show the audience you're confident and you're funny and prove it to them. That's right. That's it? Oh, jeez. Well, listen. Oh, boy. It's tomorrow. And so we've got to give away the remainder of the tickets today because... We're letting P1s come in here. And listen, every human being I know has asked me for tickets. And we're only giving away single tickets. We're not giving away a pair. But we're going to have Boston Rob and Boy Blunder doing a stand-up comedy routine tomorrow. And we're going to see who wins. And it's going to take place in our performance studio tomorrow. 40 people will be able to come in and see this happen. So we're giving away the remainder of the seats today. I told my wife she can't come. Oh, wow. She wanted to. I said, baby, I can't. We've got to fill it with listeners. That's how in demand these tickets wouldn't be fair. That's how in demand these seats are. And so it's happening tomorrow. And it's happening here at the radio station. And we're going to give away the remainder of those seats this morning at 730. Okay. So you've got to be listening for it. I'm writing that down.
We're going to be doing a little something called Tough Love with Eddie today. Ever hear of it? Yep. We're going to be doing that. Awesome. Also, also on the show, we're going to be doing something very, very special today throughout the entire show. Throughout the entire show today, in the six hour, in the seven hour, in the eight hour, in the nine hour. Each one of us is going to reveal something about ourselves that we've never revealed before, even to each other. We've known each other for years. We've known each other for years. And so to find something that we've never revealed before about ourselves, either on the air or to one another, is very hard. But we're going to do it this morning, every hour.
We have one coming up this hour. We will have Sean and Ashley reveal something about themselves that they've never told us this hour. When we come back, there's new stuff going on. We have an update for you on the guy that was accused of stealing the purse from the woman that crashed, the fatal crash. This story has gone all over the place, back and forth. This guy stole the purse. Did he steal the purse? No, he didn't steal the purse. Yes, he did. Did he? No, we got something for you. We'll tell you when we come back. I was cesarean born. Can't really tell. The house, I go out through the window. Any questions? Recently, I was cleaning out my closet, and I found an old bathing suit that I had made out of sponges. I wore it into a pool, and no one could go swimming, so I came back.

You feel like you're in a dream. A dream where Rubio's crispy shrimp is back and the crispy shrimp two taco plates sits in front of you. you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. It's still pretty nice out here. No big major problems. A big bear eye in the sky is looking at some heavy traffic, though, developing out of Escondido, now in the south. 15 from the 78 on down to Via Rancho Parkway off and on. Other than that, though, the coastal rise is looking great. The east county is moving right along. Starting to pick up a few more brake lights, though, out of the south bay. Some slow traffic developing on the 805 northbound approaching the 94 and the 5 freeway. Also seeing some slow traffic now coming up past the south bay freeway in towards the national city. Welcome back to the show. It's a Mikey show. It is 642. Mayor Sanders gave his State of the City address last night and reminds everyone that these are hard financial times. The Aztecs surprisingly lost to Wyoming 83-79. The loss snapped a five-game win streak. This text says, Mikey, I know what you mean. I myself am Mexican and German and am often referred to.
as what people would call a Bienerschnitzel. That is P1 Crusade Fighter. That's awesome. I've never heard that one, a Bienerschnitzel. Mikey, I used to own a 78 Gordoba with its fine Corinthian leather. That's a real bummer. That's P1 Tinkerbell. Mikey, the really inspirational part of the Dan Patrick interview for me was when he said that he could warm his hands on Sky's cheeks. Awesome. That was fantastic. That was stupid. It's P1 Zachy. I got a call from his brother yesterday who works here in the building. Dan Patrick's brother works here in the building. His name is Bill. He called me and he said that Dan just loved Sky. He loved it. That's funny. He had a good time messing around with Sky. It was just fun. You should listen to the interview. It's on our podcast at mikeyshow.com if you want to check it out. Before we went to break, we said that there was some more stuff going on with a guy that was accused of stealing the purse. What do we know, Skye? Well, you know, he was arrested and taken into custody after witnesses saw him.
Pull over to the side of the road after this fatal car crash that killed a woman and her unborn child. Pull over to the side of the road, pick up the purse, and take off. And so witnesses stated that. So he was arrested. He was released on bail. And yesterday was supposed to be his arraignment. But just a few days ago, a Marine reservist who actually was on the scene of the crash helping some of the victims of the crash said, no, I actually saw this guy. dropped the purse off at the accident scene. He had picked it up where it had been ejected from the car and then came up to the crash scene and dropped it there. So with that new evidence, that new witness statement, the police yesterday announced that they have dropped the charges against him. Wow. But here's the kicker. They say he is still a person of interest. He is still a suspect because they now say, that they do have the purse. But there is $400 cash and two passports missing from the purse. So they are saying now that, yeah, the purse was recovered at the crash scene, even though for like the past week they've been saying it wasn't, and that no one knew where the purse was. The CHP is saying, oh, yeah, they first described the missing item from the crash scene as a purse, but it was actually the wallet from the purse.
That was missing. The purse was there. The purse was dropped off by this dude. Does anybody find it interesting, by the way, that the purse had $400 in cash and a couple of passports in it? Which, I mean... Well, it wasn't the girl from Tijuana? Yes. Okay, okay, okay. So you got to carry the passport. Yeah, yeah. She probably works in just cash, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and so this guy is still a suspect because they want to know, okay, yeah, we now acknowledge the fact that witnesses saw you pick up the purse, drive it, and then drop it off. But where in all of this did $400 and two passports go missing, and who has that? So they're still investigating that, and he's still a suspect in that. Yeah, it's really nuts. Well, hopefully they get it figured out. Mikey, are you guys going to have funny people in the comedy competition tomorrow? That's P1 Corey, boy. What's that supposed to mean? Eddie, let me tell you something. Eddie, let me tell you something. I don't know what it's supposed to mean. All I know is that Boston Rob is the one that screens the text messages and he let that sucker through. That's a really interesting one. Just like he let this one through. Are you ready? Yeah. Okay.
Mikey, I think I know why Boston Rob is nervous. He isn't funny. That's P1 Big B. And they've got to all come through. Why is he letting, I mean. That's great. Wow. Thanks a lot, Mikey and Eddie. Now I know you've jinxed the cast of Fantasy Island. That's P1 Vodka. How is that possible? Tattoo's been dead for years. That's so true. Mikey, what is up with Sean TV? You keep saying you're going to do it and nothing happens. Disappointment. Thanks. That's P1 Kitten. Well, I am sorry. We will get to Sean TV. Did it get bumped yesterday? Yeah. It was on yesterday. Dan Patrick was on for quite a while. Yeah. We'll get to it. I want to hear it. I want to hear some Sean TV. I just saw on the TV screen. that San Diego ranks as the 24th fattest city in the country, according to Men's Fitness Magazine. Yeah. They released their fittest city list and their fattest city list. We did not make the fittest city list. Really? That's really surprising. We made the fattest. That's shocking. Sky, who is the fittest city?
I want to say it was Salt Lake City, and then it was somewhere in Colorado. I don't know if it was Boulder, Colorado, but it was in Colorado. Not L.A.? Fattest city in the country? I think this will surprise you. I mean, maybe it'll surprise you and not surprise you. Miami, Florida. That really surprised me. With the South Beach craze and all that stuff. Big Cuban population, and they probably eat a lot of food that is not... indicative to fitness. Are you calling Cuban people fat? Wow, Mike. Wow. That is a stereotype. No, however, I am calling Cuban food fattening. Okay. I am calling that out. A lot of dishes with the plantains, right? Yeah, that means it's yummy. Yeah, that means I want some. Great job. Are plantains high in fat? I don't know. They're bananas, aren't they? Yeah, they're like bananas. Yeah, but if you're trying to lose weight, that is like the worst thing to eat. I think bananas are high in fat. Well, high in sugar, which turns to carbs. I don't know a lot about stuff, but yeah. Makes sense to me, too. Oklahoma City, second fattest city. That I understand. Oh, yeah. Anything with the word Oklahoma in it. That's a fat word. Well, for instance, what about Oklahoma?
San Antonio, Texas, the third fattest city. That's Clear Channel headquarters, by the way. Fat with their money. That's right. Fat with money. Fat cats. Fat pockets. And then I found the fittest cities. Number three, Minneapolis. Number two. Wait a second. Are you sure these are not in reverse? Yeah. Come on. Number three. Number four, Green Bay. Yeah. Number two, Colorado Springs. And then number one was Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City is the number one fittest. Fittest. Wow. That's weird. And in Colorado Springs, people are real fit. Yeah. Real cut. Salt Lake, you know, Mike, they're warm in there, so they got to drink the light beer. Yeah. That's true. I don't think that's true. That's true. That's weird. I think they put less alcohol up there. Yeah. They do. They do. And the beers, they put less alcohol. Oh, wow. The beers do not come like the beers come here. I think here a beer is like, what is the percentage? Rob, you should know that. What is the percentage in a beer of alcohol? For a regular? Yeah, isn't it like five? Five percent? I don't think it is in Salt Lake or in Utah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think in Utah, if you buy like a regular beer, like a Coors, they have them specially done there. Yeah. And they're less. They have less alcohol in them. So people have to like guzzle those suckers in order to get the same effect. Because the altitude?
No, it's the... You're adorable. What? You're so cute. It's because of the credit unions. Yes. Okay, Eddie. It doesn't even make sense. Well, Eddie, explain that one. If you weren't just trying to make a slam there. Explain how the credit unions... Well, the credit union controls the alcohol, tobacco, and firearm industry in Utah. No, there it is. He did it. He pulled it off. Eddie's giving congratulations. No, it's a Mormon population, I believe. I believe it's a Mormon population. Well, don't they not drink alcohol? I don't understand why they would make beers with less... That doesn't sound right to me. That's a big stat, you guys. I think... And somebody will call. P1 will call. 570-1053. What's the deal with less alcohol? I believe Sky has it.
Yeah, let's see. The Utah liquor laws are based on the general philosophy. Let's see. The public's demand. Let's see. Okay, liquor, wine, and heavy beer. Well, no, I'm reading through all of this. Yeah. Let's see. Liquor, wine, and heavy beer over 3.2% alcohol must be served from noon to midnight. Beer 3.2% alcohol is available from 10. Yeah, they have all these weird rules in Utah. How come? Thank you for clearing that up. Well, it says here because of public demand. Yeah, I think it has to do with the Mormon population. Phone lines blowing up. Blowing up. Glad we're cracking this case. They're all saying what Skye just said, that it's 3-2. They're all saying what the percentage is. Does anybody know why? It's not the Mormons, bro. I watch that show Big Love on HBO, and it's all about the polygamists. Skye says it is not a Mormon thing. I'm not reading that. I'm just saying that. She's not reading that. She's saying that. She does not believe that it is part of the Mormon population there. Maybe it is something to do.
With the altitude. Well, because I don't think Mormons drink alcohol. So why? Well, some Mormons do. It depends. I think they do drink alcohol. I had a Mormon friend. Their family didn't drink alcohol or caffeine. Not allowed. Well, this is how my friend taught me growing up because her and her whole family were very Mormon. And I would hang out with them all the time. And she would say there's good Mormons or bad Mormons. The good Mormons, of course, no alcohol, no drugs, no caffeine, no sex before marriage. They follow everything by the book. But they're like bad Mormons, as they would call them, or as she called them, would drink whatever. They wouldn't necessarily follow through with all the stuff. I have another theory. What's that? The other theory is high Mormon population, Mormons in government, and they are compromising. Yeah. They don't want people drinking alcohol, but if they're going to, then we want the percentage of alcohol lowered. I can see that. That could be it. That makes sense. But somebody will know. Someone will call us. 570-1053 is our phone number. Let us know. We want to know. We come back. Sean and Ashley are going to tell us something about themselves that they've never revealed on the air before. I'm nervous. But not only that, they've never told us before. It's going to be something about them that even we on the show have never heard, which that's hard to do.
That is hard to do. And it can be any fact about themselves. But we're going to hear it, and you're going to hear it when we come back. And also when we come back, Marines that want to go to Mexico, they've got a new rule now. And we'll tell you what it is when we come back. Mikey? Hello? I've talked about it before, but I love your show, and you guys rock. Oh, that's awesome. If you have more than $10,000 in credit card debt, listen to these shocking facts. It looks like CBS and John Mayer are close to a deal for John to do a TV variety show. Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Bolden practiced yesterday, says he will play in the NFC Championship game. Looked like he had pulled a little hammy in the last game. He was kind of gimpy. Well, he didn't play in the last game. He had to sit down. He did? Yeah. But, you know, it was the previous game where he pulled it.
You know, he should be good to go, I think. It's back to normal? Well, I don't know if it's back to normal, but it's good enough to where he can get out there and play. I'm going to trip you out how those dudes play, like, jacked. Yeah. You know, they have great treatment stuff, though, you know? I mean, if I pulled my hamstring, you know, I'd be miserable for a month. But these guys, you know, they got tons and tons of people working on them every single day. You know, electrodes and things like that that fix them up pretty good. That's a trip, man. It's a trip. Okay, before we went to break, I said that if you're a Marine and you want to go to Mexico and get your drink on. Get your swerve on. Get your swerve on. Things have changed. Yeah. What are they saying, Sky? Well, they have a policy which yesterday they extended indefinitely that if Marines want to go to Mexico, Tijuana, that they now must get written permission from their superior and also go through several other hoops like anti-terrorism training. And this even applies for people who, you know, are visiting family members. So you have family members in Mexico and you visit there often. This, you know, this applies to everyone.
Because of all the ongoing violence in Mexico. Especially Tijuana over the battling drug cartels. And they just don't want the Marines to get anywhere close to that. That is so scary. Oh, it's pretty scary right now. Yeah, so local Marines say they're trying to avoid going down there. Cut 56. No one ever really goes down there because... There's not really a point. There's plenty of bars here. Everything that's going on in Mexico, rather than not risk getting chopped up or shot, just to go to Mexico for cheap beer, when I can drive here and have one of my buddies drive me to base. Even though I have family there, I still have to go through the hassle of going through paperwork just to go see my grandparents. Yeah, man, it's not worth it. Yeah, so that policy is in effect until further notice. P1 truck driver, are you there? Yes, I am. Now... Tell me how you know stuff about the liquor laws in Utah. Since my high school years in Salt Lake City, I lived there for over 10 years. My dad was involved with law enforcement. He worked for the Utah State Prison. So why is the alcohol content lower in that state? It has to do with their morals and values of, you know, just the standards that the Mormon religion believes in.
you know, the no caffeine and such. When we used to have family reunions, we used to have to make our root beer because there's no caffeine in root beer. And it's just, it's the morals and also their liquor laws. They're a dry state. You have to go to a state liquor store in order to buy actual beer. We used to go to Wyoming to get like, let's say Mickey's because it had the higher content. It was a malt liquor versus a standard beer. and Wyoming was so close, Evanston is where everyone would go to do their beer runs. And then you can go to certain restaurants, higher-end restaurants, have a state liquor store in the restaurant, and you can purchase booze there, but for the most part, the restaurant would only serve up your mixers and such. Wow. And in order to go to clubs and such there, you have to... become sponsored let's say i live there and you wanted to come into town and party i would have to sponsor you and be a member of this club so that you could drink but that you bring in your own liquor you don't oh sick that is so bizarre wow i was living there in the late 70s early 80s my aunt came from california to visit we went to an italian restaurant she brought in a bottle of wine and was able to serve us
Give me and my cousin wine, and we weren't even of age. What? That is so crazy, man. That's crazy. They have T-shirts there that say, if you think our liquor laws are funny, you should see our underwear. Mormons, they have to wear garments when they get married to the temple. Wear what? Garments. They're called garments. What is it? Like long johns? Yeah, it's like a silk underwear that they wear under their clothing after they've been married through the temple. And what is it like? What does it look like? It looks just like silk boxers, but it's a full body suit. Men and women wear them. Same thing? Men and women wear the same garment? Well, yeah. I mean, they don't wear it at the same time. No, no, no. I mean, they wear... What I mean is, is the style of the garment the same for men and women? Yes. I did not know that. I'm learning something new. Like a silk underwear that they wear under their clothing that's, you know, I mean, it's obviously light and thin like an underwear, but they wear it under their clothing. Sounds like it breathes real nice. Yeah. Didn't know. I wear that at all times other than to, you know, shower and go to the lake and such things like that. That is interesting. They have a lot of...
They did a lot of things when the Olympics were in Salt Lake not too long ago, the Winter Olympics. Part of the deciding factor was that no bars. People couldn't go into the bars and just drink because they had to be a member of these clubs. So they were handing out liquor license, hand over fist, in order to be able to have the Olympics in Salt Lake. And then what happened after the Olympics left? Did they pull them all back? They started pulling several licenses because things started getting out of hand. Yeah. Obviously, you know, it was chaotic. They were like, pardon. Yeah. All right, brother, I appreciate the phone call. Thank you, dude. All right, thanks. Eddie, is it time to do the reveals? Sure. Oh, my. We are going to now get a couple of items here that we've never heard before. You've never heard it, and we've never heard it. The most revealing Mikey show. Ever. That's right. All show long, we're doing it, too. I mean, we're going to find out something from Ashley and Sean right now. And then in the next hour, we're going to find out something about Eddie and Zeth. In an 8 o'clock hour, we're going to find out something about me. And in the 9 o'clock hour, we're going to find out something about Sky and B-Rob. Whoa. That you've never heard and we've never heard. Ashley, let's start with you. Oh, no. I'm nervous. Well.
This isn't crazy or anything, but it's something that really weighs on my heart still to this day. But when I was in high school, I hung out with the cheerleaders. That was my group of girls that I hung out with, that group. And I'd always wanted to try out for the cheerleading squad, and I never had enough guts. And so finally, my senior year, I decided to try out. And I tried out for the cheerleading squad. You did. And during the audition, I forgot the moves. and I didn't make it, and all my friends did, and I didn't. Every single person that tried out that was one of my friends made it, except for me. I was the only one. Question. Yes. Oh, I'm sorry. Did this have any bearing? It was the worst. Oh, I can't even imagine. I, of course, made the squat. Oh, shut up. I know she did all four years. Just stop. She's good. But I'm very good. Question, Ash. When you did the dance thing against Skye, was any of that? In there. In there. Absolutely. What about you doing, like, the hip-hop classes? Is there sort of a motivation there? Absolutely. Oh, man. And, you know, the fact that I lost the dance-off, like, it just, it's like I've never been able to, like, get that. Honestly, I feel like I know you better right now. That's crazy. Honestly, I really do. Like, I feel like I know you better. And the listeners do, too. Like, I didn't know this. Yeah. I didn't know that. Suck.
I really wanted to be a cheerleader. Dude, what a trip. Sean? Alright, so... This is so exciting. This is a guy who we didn't know salted his milk and put mint in it or was in a Bolivian dance troupe. That's Nigerian. It's Ukrainian. Ukrainian, you guys. Ukrainian. What? Like Eastern Promises, you know? Totally. Total Uzbekistanian, dude. Totally like Uzbekistanian. So anyway, I didn't really know how serious to go with this, so I decided to go with the following. When I was in high school, I was really into new age music.
New Age music? Yeah. Give me an example. I'll give you an example. Andreas Wollenweider. I'm sorry. This is a safe place. I don't know who that is. Who the hell is that? That's real, right? Yes, it's real. What in the hell? He plays the harp, dude. He's really awesome. Oh, my God. Do you think you could, like, dig up a clip? Because I don't know what you're talking about. Well, actually, you know what? I do have a, I brought my iPod, and I do have another favorite of mine is Kitaro. What about now? What's on his iPod now? Okay, I have it on my iPod right now. All right. Here we go. It's very Vangelis. So, anyway. So, anyway. Give me more names. Give me the first one again, and then give me more. Andreas Follenweider. That one was Katara right there. I used to like Leo Kotke. You must have been like the most popular kid in school. Tangerine Dream. I know that one. Yeah, they're good. And so I was actually in a new age band in high school. What? What? What? What?
This is delicious. How dare you. And the name of the group. Give yourself a drum roll. Give yourself a drum roll. Let me turn off guitar. High school new age band was. We were called Solstice. The summer or the winter? I am in shock. That is unbelievable. And what was your deal in the band? I played keyboards. I wrote the music. My eyes are as big as saucers. My eyes are as big as saucers. My other buddy, he programmed the drum machine. He also played keyboards. Question. He wrote some of the music. There were two keyboards? Question. Yeah. Wow. It's a new age group. Question. I don't know. To you guys. Yeah. To the audience. Yeah. In high school. Shut up, Eddie. In high school. How?
do like-minded new agers find one another? You know what? Enough to form a band, you know? Like, how do you find... Now, it's easy. Internet, I guess. I guess. Even now, like, how would new age, not new wave, new age, you know, Pakistani or whatever. There's probably some websites that... No, there were no websites. No, no, no. I'm saying now. Now. In high school. Then. Then. How do like-minded new agers. Get all the dorks together. Nettie. Hey. Wow.
Well, I mean, were these? I guess. I don't know. Sean, were these like your group of friends and you all just happened to be in the same thing? I don't know, Scott. Or did you have to? That's a legitimate question. Because I know, like my friends, we were all into the same kind of music, so it wouldn't be hard to find that. Yes, some of my friends were into it. I mean, obviously, some of my friends, yes, they were into it. I was into it. You didn't have to seek people out. I didn't conduct a nationwide search, no. Why is he yelling at me? I'm the only one being cool here. I'm being cool. Yeah, me too. Eddie, you are not. What are you doing? Eddie is not. What did I do? Laughing at me. That's what you did. Oh, no. I own Solstice. Remember you said. Shut up. I own the greatest hits of Solstice. They never had a greatest hits. How dare you? I own it. I'm a huge fan. Sean. Never had one. What? Was there a singer? No, no, no, no. It was all instrumental. Do you have any recordings of it? Please. Oh, man. Do you have any solstice recordings? I could look for them. You have to. Yes, please. You have to. Yeah, I will do it. I can't make any promises, but I will. I promise that I will look for it. Wait, did you guys have concerts? Or, like, did you perform anyplace cool, like the mall or something? The mall. The mall. What is that?
It's a question. Yeah, that's a real question. I'm looking at her. What's the mall, though? What is that? Oh, that's the thing that we do with Sky. I thought we were over that. I was genuine. I was genuinely asking. Like, I was thinking of local places where maybe you would perform. I was genuinely guessing at the mall. Do people perform at the mall? Is that so crazy? I performed at the mall. I did a ballet routine at the mall. Like, that's where you perform when you're up and coming. Well, we didn't perform at the mall when I was a kid. Did you perform at a pyramid? Did you perform anywhere? Did you perform anywhere ever? That one got me. What? I'm sorry. Who said that? That's not funny. No! That one was kind of funny, actually. It was, you know... It's kind of clever. Do you perform at Pyramid Sky? Come on. That's pretty... Guys, I'm trying to get an answer out. Like in front of the emperor? Dude, let's see. That doesn't make sense. There is no emperor at the... No, it would be pharaoh. Well, whatever. It would be pharaoh. Carnival? Carnival? Oh, really, Sean? That was... He signed off. Sean, you sign back on or you're going to miss...
When we come back, me telling you why Kellogg's has voluntarily recalled a product because the peanut butter salmonella scare. It's next. Dear people of the world, the Mikey show is on. But at what cost? At what cost? This is the rock. Raymond McKinney was walking to his car after perusing the local gardening center when he saw it. Yeah, yeah, it had huge eyes and it wouldn't stop staring at me. A stack of money was staring at him. Yeah, yeah, it had these big googly eyes on it and it wouldn't stop looking at me. Practically looking through him. Uh, yeah, yeah, I guess. I mean, anyway, I thought my shoes were untied or... That wasn't it. Nope, nope, and then I thought maybe it was my new haircut. You know, it's just kind of this new style, it's like a bulk. And that wasn't it either, was it, Raymond? Well, no, no. It turns out that little stack of money with the unwavering eyes was really the money... The money you could be saving with GEICO. Yeah. So he called and saved tons of money. Actually, yeah. Everyone is saying it, but what does it mean? It means it's go time. Time to bring it. Time to step up and dance. Think about it. If the Donner Party had never headed west, they never would have eaten each other. Maybe that's not the best example. It's really not hearing me, it's looking at me. Really, that's what she's all about. She's very visual. Very, very visual. Do they know you're blushing? Can you feel that on the radio? Can you feel how she's blushing? Is there a question asked somewhere? I could warm my hands on your cheeks right now. And on your face. Mikey's show continues. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. It is 723. Samuel L. Jackson says due to the economy, he might not be back for Iron Man 2. Oh, my gosh. New Chiefs General Manager Scott Pioli hasn't rolled out, keeping Herm Edwards as head coach. Pioli says he's looking forward to talking to Herm. I had a chance to visit with Herm a little bit today. I've known Herm for a long time. I've got a lot of respect for Herm on a professional level and a personal level. He's a fine man.
We're going to spend some more time talking. And like I said, this entire thing is going to be a process. And we're going to continue to spend some time talking with Herm. And contrary to reports that were out there, we're going to spend some time talking with Herm. And I'm going to spend some time talking with Herm. And I'm actually looking forward to it very much. Wow. All right, then. Yeah, well, what kind of credibility do you have if... You fire him at that point. You know what I mean? He's just saying, hey, listen, I'm going to have a little conversation with the guy. I'm looking forward to it, and we'll see what happens from there. Well, if he knows that he's going to fire him, the best idea would have been to shh. Oh, man. If that's what he's going to do. He's saying he doesn't know. Lots of stuff can happen. Yeah, like you could fall on a couple of bullets six times. Before we went to break, we said that Kellogg is doing a voluntary recall of what, Skye? Well, there's a couple different products. Now, if you don't know, there's this peanut butter salmonella poisoning thing going on. What is that? What do you what? Well, as of last check, there have been no cases in California, but 43 other states have had cases, 434 people.
have been sick, and they believe that there are five deaths linked to that. Yeah. And basically, it's peanut butter made by the Peanut Butter Corporation of America, who uses two different brand names. One is Parnell's Pride. Parnell's Pride. And the other is King Nut. King Nut. Yeah, those brands of peanut butter, they've done recalls of them. Which was the original name of Sean's band. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Before they were Solstice, they were King Nut. It didn't lend itself, though, to the music. So Kellogg's is saying, hey, none of our likes. Sean, you didn't have to dignify that. I mean, if we're being honest, you didn't have to dignify that. So you're saying it's not true. Yes, Sean wants to be clear with listeners that may. Lest they thought. I read the Wikipedia page of Solstice. It doesn't exist. It doesn't exist. It doesn't exist. It does now. Okay. Better not. So Kellogg is voluntarily recalling four different products. Shut up, man.
There's been no salmonella linked to these products, but it's as a precaution. So the products are under the Austin and under the Keebler brand name. It includes their toasted peanut butter sandwich crackers, their peanut butter and jelly sandwich crackers, their cheese and peanut butter sandwich crackers, and their peanut butter chocolate sandwich crackers. Can we get a handle on salmonella outbreaks? Thank you. Be nice. Spinach. And what else did we have? We had spinach was a deal. Well, I thought it was tomatoes. Green onions for a while. Green onions for a while. Eggplant. Yeah, wait. Rob, you're not supposed to just throw out fictitious ones. Pottery. Chicken's a big one. No, you don't want to put that out there. No, that's if you don't cook it. Yeah. That's what you did the other day with a frozen piece of chicken. Oh. Oh, it was the thought. Yes. All right. Speaking of healing. It's time to do some of that right now. Is that the kid that shows up to see Dr. Phil? That's actually the kid that opened the Wii. It's a different kid. What we do in Tough Love with Eddie is Eddie goes to his inbox. He sees what people are asking him. In fact, if you go to MikeyShow.com, you can see a place you can click on Tough Love with Eddie and write Eddie if you need advice.
Because he does an advice segment where he tells it like it is. I'm on one too, Mike, with this whole LT thing. Uh-oh. What's fired up? Solstice breaking up. I mean, I got a lot of stuff that's on my... Hey, you've shown a low... Sean's smile just faded. I'm into it. I love it. Like, I watched it fade. Mike, the whole break, he was IMing me stuff. It's like... Were you really? What did he IM you? Who was? What did he IM you? He's like, I want to be in the band. I want to play Triangle. Triangle. Oh, man. Sean called me garbage. I don't appreciate that. Yeah, it's harsh. Let's get to this. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, let's get to this, man. Our first letter reads, Dear Eddie, I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm kind of a nerd, but I'm proud of it. Unfortunately, my roommates don't think it's very cool. In fact, all they do is tease and prank me because of it. Well, tonight, I think they went a little too far.
I came home after class only to find that they took some L brackets from the hardware store and mounted my bed frame onto the ceiling. I don't know how in the world they did it, and I have no idea how I am going to get it down. But it's up there. And tonight I will be sleeping on the floor thanks to them. Eddie, can you please give me some suggestions to get them back? Sincerely, P1 World of Warcraft. Dear the bedless dorkmen. Gotta be one of the best pranks I have ever heard in my entire life. I don't think you should be mad. You should thank them for letting you be part of such a monumental event. You know, like all the emails you get forwarded around, your bed could be that picture, which is awesome. Dude, you're going to be famous. You should take a picture of it. Absolutely. You're the dweeb that has his bed bolted to the ceiling. You know what tail you're going to get from that? None. I was like, wait, I don't know.
But you're still going to be famous for being the doofus that it happened to. So that is awesome. But to answer your question, yeah, there's a couple things you can do to get back at these guys. You can start by replacing all their electronics. I'm talking like their TVs or clock radio, stuff like that, with the fake plastic prop ones you find at Ikea. I love doing that. Yeah, that's actually, that would make it. Yeah, they can't figure it out. I like it. My TV's broken, man. That's always funny. You can also take their bed sheets and cut 12 inches off the bottom of each sheet and then watch them try to make their beds and they can't figure it. I'm writing these down. Yeah, these are good. Here's the best prank of all. This one really works. What you want to do is leave your bedroom door open just a crack, then balance a shoe up above the door. Write this one down, Mike. I think I know where you're going. You call frantically for one of your roommates. You're like, bye!
You're like, Mike, Mike, really? You can do that. You can do that. And when they open the door, the shoe just falls right on their head. You will seriously laugh harder. I thought it'd be funny. Mike, you ever heard of that one? That one's a good one. It wasn't a good one. That's so funny. Hurt in multiple ways. Still funny to this thing. Yeah, probably, isn't it? Our next. Yeah. Our next letter reads. Hey, Eddie, I'm kind of bummed about all the Charger talk. I know, I know. Charger's this and Charger's that. But as the only 28-year-old male who hates football, can we talk about, can we not talk about them anymore? Are you serious? What about exercise or traveling? Like last summer, I backpacked through Europe and over there, no one even talks about football.
But they do know about culture, and if I had a radio show, I'd talk about the outdoor library I saw being built in Spain, or the cafe I had artesian bread from in France. Some people like that, too. Just a thought. That's Adam in Ocean Beach. Oh, my. Eddie? I'm reeling. Dear everything Brett Favre isn't. Oh, I do. I mean, you would have had a gay radio show, bro. I mean, outdoor library in France. I mean, what are you... It was Spain. Oh, who cares, Mike? Yeah. Not the point, bro. I mean, I don't... We weren't even talking about football last summer since it starts in the spring, you showgirl. I don't even... When I read your email... You just called him a showgirl. Yes! Yes!
I mean, that's pretty easy. I mean, when I read your email, I almost thought you were the dude from Into the Wild faking his own death. Oh, wow. You know who would listen to your radio show about bread? Sean Penn. Great. There you go, buddy. Sean Penn and Bono. You happy? Yeah, you got a big audience there for the bread show. Bread show. Yeah, bread show. Yeah. I mean, you want me to talk about exercise and travel? Tell you what, how about you round up Richard Simmons and Jack Kerouac, okay, and have them zip up your pack, okay? You're done. You're done. I think that's a neat idea. Really? You talk about bread. The bread show, Skye. I'd like to talk about bread. That was good, Eddie. Our final letter reads, Dear Eddie, I am an avid listener to the show and have to tell you how much I love Boston Rob. Oh, really?
I love that he stands up for us New Englanders when you Cali tree huggers try to knock us down. Our sports teams are wicked good, something you guys can't relate to. And good for you, B-Rob, for standing up to these guys. Don't let them break you. Keep fighting the good fight. I've been living out here eight months, and what's up with your freeways? Also, what are some good bars to go to? Thanks, man. And tell Rob he is the man. Go Sox. That's P1 Boston Pete. Eddie, what advice would you give him? Dear Boston Me Party. I think I got chowda all over me after that one. First of all, what is up with you people from Boston? I mean, I've never met... I mean, your town is okay, but it's obviously you're the insecure little brother to New York. I mean, before we see you, take it easy for us Cali tree huggers. I mean, you clearly don't listen very closely because...
There are a couple tree huggers on the show, but me and Mikey over here, we tend to cut down trees to barbecue meat. That is true. That is 100% true. Thank you, Ted Nugent, for that one. Very true. Very true. As for your wonderful sports teams, how soon do we forget? Wasn't it just 86 years ago you guys couldn't sniff a title? I hate bringing that up, Rob. I really do. No offense. Nothing personal. No offense. Nothing personal. No offense. Of course, all that aside, there are some great bars out here in San Diego. What you want to do is head to a little area known as Hillcrest. Yes. We've got great bars there. There's one called Sword Fighting, which I know Rob peruses all the time. I love Boston Bars. I would not, though. All the best Boston bars. Yeah, and as for our freeways, we actually finish our freeways. So that's why you're confused. Yes. So they don't take 30 years. No, they don't take 30 years to fix up. And, oh, yeah, B-Rob, you're the man. What? He said the secret. Tell Bob Rob. He said you're the man. He said tell Boston Rob. He's the man. But is he, though, really? I took care of it. There she is. He firmly believes in that.
There she is off in the distance. Sky, can you hear it? No, I don't want to hear it. Can you hear it coming up a chonky way? Where is that? Isn't that what it's called, Rob? A chonky way? Isn't that the place where... You're right, Mike. There you go. It's the sound of healing. Oh, you want the San Diego? You guys are such a great sport for San Diego and everyone listening. San Diego is really, really lucky to have you guys on the radio every morning. Can I take your order? Yes, I'd like two dark roast coffees and four sugars. So that's my coffees and two sugars.
No, no, I said dark roast for sugars. Sure, please. Here you go, sir. This is orange juice. Yeah, orange juice, extra sugar. Oh, that is so wrong. What I mean is that if your check engine light's on, you take it to AMCO, and they're going to tell you why it's on for free, which they do for all customers. But if you're a P1 and any additional diagnosis is required, all you do is tell them that you're a P1 and you get 10% off on all repairs, which is great. They're the world's best transmission place. They do complete car care. And their techs can rebuild entire transmissions. And this is all stuff that I learned by going in and learning about them before I told all of you about them. Because I wasn't going to do the endorsement unless I felt comfortable telling you about them. And send my dad there. I've been there myself. I send my neighbors. Amco's for real. They're good. And I would suggest you go there. AMCO is AA. Beep, beep. MCO. Why would you take it anywhere else? AutoZone.
Do it yourself and save. Get in the zone. AutoZone. Hey, check it out. It's the Mikey Show. Yo, you have audio now? Featuring Mikey. I love Maui. Eddie. We don't care. We love it. Police announced yesterday that the man accused of stealing the purse from the fatal car crash will not be charged but is still a suspect. Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman winner Sam Bradford announced that he's going to return to college for another season. We were going to be giving away tickets to the comedy showcase that's going to be happening tomorrow. The comedy showdown that's going to be going on tomorrow. Boston Rob versus Boy...
Boy Blunder in stand-up comedy, man. Oh, my God. Dude, how great is that? You know what I was thinking about this? I was going, you know, since at the beginning of the show, we do the stand-up spotlight, obviously, Boy Blunder and Boston Rob can be future stand-up spotlight moments. That was sick. You know what I mean? Totally. You know, so at some point, I'll be saying, you know, Boston Rob in the stand-up spotlight. Oh, my gosh. Wow. So, yeah, I mean, That's what we're going to be doing here tomorrow in our performance studio. And we have, I believe, 20 seats left. Holy cow. We have 20 seats. We're going to have 40 people in here. We've given away 20. It's single tickets. This is so in demand that we're not giving away pairs. And it doesn't make sense to anyway. People are going to work, and so... You can come in. You can watch the comedy thing. And what time are we going to do it, Eddie? It'll be just after 7 o'clock, so we'll have everybody get here by 7. Look at Rob. He is so nervous. Hey, throw up. You're going to do great. When I get out on stage, that's part of my act. Oh, that's great. That's great. Ah, physical comedy. Oh, yeah. Gallagher. A lot of slapstick. There you are. Bring your raincoats. Yeah, bring your raincoats. Bring your plastic. So call us right now. 570-1053. Would you like to be sitting in the studio audience and watching the comedy stand-up act?
And, Eddie, you had, did you get Jay to, like, do a backdrop and everything? Yeah. I love that. Awesome. You know how all those stand-ups stand behind, like, a brick wall? Yes. Like, that stupid brick wall. I love it. Jay's going to make a brick wall. So great. So great. And we have a stage in the performance studio, so he's going to be on a stage. Both of them will be on a stage. Yep. And if you want to come in here tomorrow, 570-1053. Mikey Show, who's this? This is T1 Prince. P1 Fritz, how you doing, man? I'm excited if I just got a seat to go watch this comedy show. You just want a seat, dude. Yeah. That's right. He's a laughy guy, Rob. Let me tell you, your excitement right now, Fritz, I could see on Boston Rob's face, it made him more nervous. That's great. No, I like that. I like a guy that's very excitable. That's right. I'm excited to come in to see you guys. I can't listen to your show all the time because I do construction, so I've always tried to do the P1 trivia, but I don't listen to you guys enough to win that, so I'm really excited. Well, we want genuine laughter, bro. We want real laughter. We want people that are ready to laugh, ready to have a good time. We want people that are happy to be in here. Yes. Very happy. That's me. All right, dude, hang on the line. Come drunk. That is hell, baby. Do not come drunk. It does help. Mikey Show. Hello.
Hi, who's this? What's your name? P1AJ. Hi, AJ. Are you, hopefully you're going to be in the mood to laugh, right? Mm-hmm, yeah. All right, good. You want a seat? You get to come in here tomorrow and watch Boston Rob versus Boy Blunder. That's awesome. Hang on. Mikey Show, who's this? It's P1 Raider Hater. P1 Raider Hater. Yeah. How you doing, dude? I'm doing good. How are you guys doing this morning? Good, man. You can make it into the studio tomorrow morning? Heck yeah. Oh, I love it. I love it. All right. Just a single ticket goes to you. You come in here, be in the mood to laugh, all right? Sweet. Yeah, and that's why we have 40 people coming in. We have 40 people coming in because we want laughter. Yeah. You know what I mean? Hopefully. Yeah, hopefully. Mikey Show, who's this? This is people watching, but I'm trying to get a ticket. Yeah, dude, you just won. Awesome. Yep. You get to come in here tomorrow morning and be a part of it. Hang on the line. Let's get a couple more. Mikey, show. Who's this? This is P1 Cheeseball. P1 Cheeseball. You just won a ticket. Thanks, man. You got it. You're going to be watching Boston Rob and Boy Blender tomorrow doing stand-up comedy. Hang on the line. Very nice. Rob, how are you doing on your material? I'm doing pretty good. Oh, no.
I came up with all my ideas, you know, and then I keep reworking it and reworking it and reworking it. And it's like I'm very critical of my own stuff. Have you performed it for anybody yet? Myself. Just you? Yeah, yeah. You're going to practice this on your girlfriend or on your brothers or anything? Maybe here and there. Not the whole thing. Bits and pieces. And that's kind of what I've been doing. I've just been given, you know, a portion of a joke, you know, just to kind of test it out. Yeah. I'll drive around. I got caught like three times yesterday because I was driving around. I drive with my windows down, you know. Yeah. It's been pretty hot out. And I stopped listening to the radio and I just do my material in the car driving. So I hit red lights and people are looking over and I'm telling myself jokes. Yes. That's awesome. I'm going to get the rhythm down and all that. Dude, that is the best. Oh, man. All right. It is time to do another reveal. Oh, I'm ready. Her senior year? Mm-hmm. Her senior year of high school, Ashley tried out for the cheerleading team, didn't make it. Then Sean revealed that he was in a new age band and was into new age music when he was in high school. What was it? Solstice, bro. Solstice was the band. Yeah, dude. What were some of the artists again, Sean? Andreas Vollenweider, Kitaro, Tangerine Dream, Leo Kotke. Leo Kotke. Totally.
Totally old cocky. It is now time for Eddie and Zeph. No, not Zampir. Zampir is not New Age. Oh, it isn't? I guess. It's bubblegum, dude. It's not serious. Bubblegum. It's not serious. You're the best. Tangerine Dream did the music for the movie Risky Business. Oh, really? Oh, really? So when you watch that movie and you hear just the instrumental music, Tangerine Dream. Oh, that makes it cool. Makes it cool. That's right. Sean, who introduced you to New Age? No one. I worked at a record store at the time. And I saw some, you know, one of the albums caught my eye. So I started listening to it. And from then on, I loved it. Wow. What is it? What? You don't want to hear what Eddie asked. No, what did he say? I think you've made enough jokes. Where does it take you? Eddie, okay. Eddie wanted to know where it took you. It's the same place any music takes anyone, you know, whatever. Different music takes you different places. Where does this take you? It takes my fist right into your face. There you go. It is now time for Eddie to reveal something. And for Zeth to reveal something. Let's start with Zeth. Yes.
Okay. Zeth is going to tell us something about himself. Every hour, we're doing a reveal on all of us on the show. And Zeth is going to tell us something that the listeners have never heard and that we've never heard. Which isn't hard. I mean, we don't know much about Zeth. Anything Zeth says will be new. Zeth, what do we not know? Once upon a time... I was tasered by the fine folks at the San Diego Police Department. Don't taste me, bro. Zach, you were tasered by the SDPD? Yeah, man. When? I was like 19 years old. How old are you now? 23. Oh, wow. What did you do? What were the circumstances? Well, before I started working here, I did a lot of illegal street art. Like, you mean graffiti? Yeah. Oh, that. The kid that would do that? You always wonder, right? You're like, you know, who does that? But you weren't, like, tagging, like, names and stuff like that. Like, you were actually, like, doing, like, pictures, right? Yeah. Van Gogh's. Oh, pictures. Yeah, so it's not like he, the... Don't they call that bombing? Or is that old school? Yeah, if you're tagging, you're bombing. Yeah. There's a lot of different terms. So you would do art? Yeah.
Really? That's how Solstice got one of their album covers. Eddie, let it go. That's so cool, Eddie. We didn't have any albums. They don't have any albums to date, is from what I understand. Well, we had a couple of demos, but we didn't have artwork. You never got signed? How could that be? Never. Eddie, have you heard the music? Oh, I love it. You do? It's so good, man. Where have you heard it? Online. Online. You're a liar. Online. Napster. So what happened, Zach? Well, I was out. It was probably about 1230, doing my thing, kind of a darker street. So if you see a car, you can almost assume that it's a cop. So I'm standing there against the wall, and it was a stencil, a pretty large one. And I had it up against the wall with some adhesive, and I was spraying it, and I see this car just bomb around the corner. And he stops, opens the door, and I'm just like, oh, run. I just completely start to take off. I get, like, 15 steps away because I'm not the fastest guy in the world. Yeah. What? Yeah. And he's, like, very tall. How tall are you? He's 6'3". Well, and by run, you meant saunter. Yes, he was sauntering. He was swishing. He was a gallop. Swishing. He frolicked off. Come on. He just started walking away. Pranced. You jerk. Skipped. Hey. But.
So I get about that far away. I hear him. Shut up, you jerks. I hope you all die. Lumbered and sashayed. I hope you all die. Wow. He means harsh. That's very inspiring. So anyway. So I don't get very far. He catches up to me and I stop. You know, he's yelling at me like, stop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like, all right, dude, I'll stop. Yeah. And he kind of turns around for a second. Like he goes to his belt and I take off again. Oh, you dummy. And at that point, you know, when he was going to his belt, he was going for the taser. Yeah. So I go and I get. Wait, wait, wait. He's instantly going for the taser, not handcuffs? Well, I was running, dude. Oh, the second time. The second time he started after you, he's going for his taser. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. So he has it and I get going a little bit and then, you know, I get around the corner and I kind of get a little bit further away. But then I'm like, what am I doing? Right. I get a conscious halfway into it, which is dumb. I should have hopped the fence. Right.
So I'm standing there and he comes up and he just lays on me. Wow. Does it hurt? Like, oh, dude, it's, have you ever been electrocuted? Never. Never. It's, it's like, it grits your teeth. Oh. It's like everything in your body kind of seizes up. Yeah. And it's like kind of a numb feeling, but it hurts, man. Oh, yeah. And I just completely just, boom, right on the concrete. Oh. Yeah, I'm like, all right, dude, I'm done. Did it leave a mark? No, it didn't leave them. There are two little, like, things that shoot out. And, like, one of them got me, like, in the lower back. Like, kind of middle of the back, lower back. And then the other one got me lower than that. Oh, my. Yeah. It stops you, though, don't it? Oh, it stops you. And, like, you're not even done once they're done shocking you. Like, you still have to pull the little barbs out. Oh. Which is rough because they're, like, hooked. Really? Yeah. So they like, they pull like little small chunks of skin out. Oh, dude, dude, dude. Was that the end of your art career? Um, not quite. Really? You still wanted to do it? Yeah. Awesome. Some kids, they got to learn. They got to learn the hard work. How much trouble did you get in? Not much, man. Surprisingly enough, I got fines. Really? Yeah. My goodness. Dang it, you stole mine. Dude, was your mom mad?
She's a little sad. Yeah, I bet. I bet. Eddie. Mine's very similar. Yeah. Yeah, right. Oh, man. Oh. I was once the manager. Can't even say it. I was once the manager of a place called Scoops and Tubes. You live in England. Scoops and Tubes. What the heck is Scoops and Tubes? Eddie, what is Scoops and Tubes? I've known you 20 years. I've known you 20 years. And I have never heard of scoops and tubes. He was the manager. Was there a uniform? Wow. Yeah. It was a place where they had all those like tubes and scoops. You know like the McDonald's play area?
Yeah. It looked like that, but it was gigantic. So there was, like, monkey bars and, like, little stuff. No, not monkey bars, but you had giant tubes that the kids crawl through. Like, you could crawl through. And they had the little hamster, you know, deals. Yeah. And, like, cargo nets. And, like, it had those balls that you play in. It's like Chuck E. Cheese. But gigantic. Like, it was, like, an old warehouse that they emptied out. Yeah. And they built these giant. tubes that kids would run through and stuff. And then they had these private rooms where you would book if you wanted to have like birthday parties or whatever. And I managed that place. How does one get that job? And how old were you? I was probably 18, 19, I think, something like that. I had worked at this video store and the people that own that video store loved me and they opened this place. in salinas california i remembered you working at the video place yeah yeah well it was only for like a month they wanted me to like open it help them open it and manage it until they got it up and going yeah because i didn't i wanted to keep doing the video and if it turns into a career no i didn't want i didn't want to do it for a long time i said i would help them out and so i would drive to salinas every day and manage scoops and tubes
Wow. Was it scoops and tubes? Scoops and tubes. It wasn't scoops and tubes? It could have been. I don't remember. Scoops and tubes? It might have been. Does scoops and tubes still exist? No. I think it closed like a year later. Because you left, bro. Yeah, they needed good leadership. But I would actually go into the birthday rooms and like host the parties. What? Oh my gosh. What did that entail? Get everybody in there. You serve them the pizza. Like six, seven years old. Yeah, they'd sit down around this little table. You would have to bring out the cake, make sure everybody's saying happy birthday. Are you serious? Put the hats on the kids. Craziness. That's awesome. It was insane. And what was the uniform? It was just like a shirt, like a polo shirt that said the name of the thing. Oh, wow. It was my job for a month. Scoops and tubes. Manager, by the way. Yeah, manager. Put that on my resume. I do. It's a good one for the resume. I've known him 20 years. Over 20 years. Over 20 years. Over 20 years. I mean, come on. And I never heard of Scoops and Tubes. Oh, yeah. That's nuts. Good times, Jen. It was good. Good job. Party. Now, maybe I missed this, but why Scoops? I get the tubes. Because they also had like an ice cream parlor. Oh, okay. Did you ever do that?
Uh, no, not really. I was, I'm the manager. I don't have time to do those. Hey, listen, you scheduled them. Yeah. You scheduled the scoopers. Yeah. But there was no scooping. Yeah. Oh, wow. Parents could bring in their own, like, you know, like from Baskin Robbins, those, you know, like clown things that they serve on your birthday. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, those like clown ice cream cones. Clown cones, yeah. So like, it would be my job to go get them out of the freezer. There was a cork fee if you brought in your own. A scoop fee. A cone fee. That's crazy. Yeah, it is because I've never heard it in over 20 years. What you just heard was part of the Mikey Show reveal. I love it. And when we come back, I will reveal something. I will reveal something that I've never revealed on the air or to all of you. Right? I told Sky, I said, there's a part of me that's like, I don't know if I have. And so if I have, then you can call me and say you've said that and I'll have to give you something else. But I think I've come upon something that I've never said or revealed. That's going to be crazy. That's next.

We've got South Punta 5 still struggling out of Carlsbad from Point Steady Lane in Carlsbad all the way down past Solana Beach. South 15 is easing up there with Escondido off to 78. Just a little bit so from Auto Parkway down to Felicita now. You will find some reduced speeds, though, through Poway. The westbound 78, though, that's kind of in trouble. You've got a backup coming off that 15 through San Marcos. An entry crash blocking the right lanes near Nordall, causing that slowdown there. The westbound 8's cleaned up quite nicely here. It's looking pretty good through La Mesa, but you will find just maybe a brief delay around Lake Murray. A little tougher, though, in the hotel circle. There's an accident just before the 5 freeway, causing a backup now on the approach there. You've got the westbound 794. There's a brand-new accident here being reported.
on the 94 just before the 805 freeway. So watch our slow traffic there. There's a minor delay in the downtown. And coming up onto the South Bay, better-looking speeds on the 5. However, the 805 is still stacked up out of Chula Vista, Upper National City. And then it's a crawl out of Kearney Mesa from the 163 up to Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. USC quarterback Mark Sanchez will announce today that he's going to enter the NFL draft. We are getting text messages that I don't even understand. What? About Zeth's reveal and Eddie's reveal. Zeth, were you a hip-hop tagger who went to B-Boy Summit and stuff? Or more of a punk rock meth tagger? Neither. Neither. What the hell? It's... What he's talking about is kind of like, there's different groups, there's different sex, and it's just basic, like, how you dress classification type of thing. He also wanted to know if you were, were you a crew or a solo artist? Crew means were you in a crew, like a group of people, or a solo. I was solo, crews are bad news. And that is P1 word heard. And so what would your classification be? I didn't... Homoerotic. No. No. I didn't have one because if you see just like an average guy walking down the street, you're not going to stop him. If you see somebody who fits the profile, you're going to hassle him. Oh, okay. P1 Rasta, text message, scoops and tubes was a giant obstacle course type thing. I went there for all my birthdays as a kid. Eddie's jaw just dropped open and his eyes are as big as saucers. No way.
Eddie, there was an obstacle course? Yeah, it was giant, I'm telling you. So it was one big thing you went through. Kind of, yeah. And there was like cargo nets and those balls and tubes and slides. Sounds fun. It was rad. Mikey, will there be a solstice reunion tour? Sean? Oh, we could only hope. It's P1 Clark Kent. That's a great question. I'm really trying to get the band back together, so we're working on it. Q1Jerkface texted in and wanted to know if the idea for the band Solstice came up during a Dungeons & Dragons game. Sean? We weren't nerds. We didn't play Dungeons & Dragons. We didn't do any of that stuff. We like new age music. Big deal. Big deal? You were like 16, bro. So? Hey, listen, we don't judge here, okay? Not at all. I don't know about that, Mike. It's a safe place. Sensing a lot of judging. All right, I'm going to tell you stuff. Oh, here we go. All right. What we're doing is the Mikey Show reveal. This is stuff that we have never said on the radio and that we've never said to one another about ourselves. When I was about...
11 or 12 years old, I used to be moved to tears by the classical music of Rachmaninoff. Laughing is not appropriate. Which I think was kind of stunning to my parents. Sure. Very sensitive child. This child is very sensitive. You would listen to classical music. How did you ever get a hold of it? Oh, no. That's Rachmaninoff. That's Rachmaninoff. Is it really? This is the music, actually, that used to bring me to tears. Sky. Sky. What? I'm helping. I'm helping. Sky just held out a box of Kleenex to me. Just in case. I'm a friend. I'm helping. Just in case. That's sweet. Thank you. It's quite moving. It's beautiful music. It really is. I don't disagree. Yes. But just as a, you know, young.
kid. Well, I mean, he was 11. I don't know that anyone had 11. How did you get the music? It was the movie Somewhere in Time. It was the movie Somewhere in Time. It's from the movie Somewhere in Time. That's a braided R movie about, like, lovers. Between you and watching that movie. What the heck? It starred Christopher Reeve. Oh, who was the actress? Jane Seymour? Jane Seymour. Yes. And there were nude scenes. But it was lovemaking. It wasn't... Yeah. It wasn't dirty. Did you cry too? It did because their love was lost, you know. Oh, no. They both enjoyed the music of Rachmaninoff. Yeah. Where were my mom and dad? That's a good question. That's a good question. So you love the music from the movie so much that you went out and like bought a cassette or what was going on? How'd this go down? That is a great question. Where did I get my hands on Rachmaninoff? Yeah.
I honestly don't. I don't know where I did. I probably bought the album, the soundtrack, the album. It was on LP, obviously. Would you listen to it in your room? Where would I? Well, I can tell you this. I remember specifically one time we went to Brea, California, which is where my brother was living when he was going to USC. And he was dating a girl named Eden. I remember listening to it when I was staying there, and his girlfriend's name was Eden. And I remember her finding it quite odd that I listened to it. And I think that she was very, that I was, and I wasn't moved to tears in front of her, but I think she was very startled that I had such an affinity for it. You know, like, wow. You know, looking back on it, I could see that her face was saying, this is an odd kid, you know. You were 11. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 11. You want another one? Nah. Actually, that's enough. That's enough for now. This part's getting really good. I just wanted to make sure you're... I hated that that part just happened on the air. You would, like, get worked up to tears, or were you just thinking of, like, the beauty of the music? I was able to... It was both. I was able to relate to the immense sense of loss in their love. But you were 11. How are you really?
Skye, I was relating on that level when I was five. No kidding. I mean, I'm just being serious. I could. At five, I was a very sensitive kid. Very sensitive. And I could relate to very adult stuff when I was little. Real little. Wow. At eight years old, I sobbed at the series finale of the Carol Burnett show. Oh, my God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was... Thank you by Sleep Train Mattress Center. We're still going to find some rough rides on our freeways out here this morning. There's an accident westbound 78 blocking the left lanes here past Nordall. That's got a major backup here coming on the 78 out of Escondido as you come off that 15 as well. So, you know, be careful there. And that's causing some curiosity slowing as well on the opposite side. Eastbound 78 is now slowing through the area. So watch for the brake lights heading that direction. Heading south to 5, that's still a struggle out of Carlsbad from Point City Lane all the way down in towards Solana Beach. The westbound 56 still stacking up here pretty heavily from Rancho Santa Fe Farms getting to the 5 Freeway. Looking pretty good in the westbound 8 to La Mesa. However, you will find a slowdown through Hotel Circle, a new fender bender near the 5 Freeway causing that back up. In your south of your ride looking fine in the 5, but the 805 still a bit tough through National City and then still crawls out of Kearney Mesa heading up over that 52. I'm McLaurin on Rock 105.3. It's 830. Local Marines have been told that due to the violence in Mexico, they must now get written permission before heading south of the border. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin says he isn't sure he wants Plaxico Burris back on the team. We are getting text messages about the Mikey Show reveals. So far this morning, Sean revealed that he used to be in a new age band in high school called Solstice. Awesome. Ashley revealed that she... Tried out for cheerleading her senior year and didn't make it and it crushed her. Eddie revealed that he used to work at Scoops and Tubes. He's the manager, Mike. Yeah, he didn't just work there, Mike. He managed the joint. It was a children's wonderland. I think that was their slogan, right? Zeth was a tagger. He used to do spray paint art graffiti. And I revealed that I was moved to tears by Rachmaninoff's classical music. when you were 10. And also that I sobbed at the series finale, the series finale. I mean, it wasn't like they were ending a season. Yeah, I mean, that would just be lame. The entire series. Yeah. Very emotional. And it was very, you know, it was very sad. Carol Burnett was crying and I cried with her. You know, Harvey Korman was, I don't want to get into it. What about Tim Conway? Tim Conway was there. So was Vicki Lawrence. What was she doing?
Thanks. Bye. See? It's the truth. The text messages are as follows. Yes. Mikey, let me get this straight. I like it already. Oh, no. You cried at classical music, kissed your dog, and set your backyard on fire. Okay. Wow. Wow. It's P1Zaki. P1Sanjaya says, Zeth, what was your tag name? I ain't telling you, man. Why is that? Yeah, you're still using it? Well, you can be incriminated for it. Oh, really? Oh, yeah, for sure. They keep a database of all that stuff. Oh, yeah, they do. Who knew? Oh, man, I guess that's not going to get out there. Not quite. P1 Bad Surfer says, when does Zeth think the taser will wear off? He's still waiting.
Asian Mike says, hey, Eddie, can you host my birthday party this year? For the right amount of Skrill. Or cake. Mikey would... You don't work for cake. I'm not boy blunder. I would. Mikey, I would love to see Solstice open for Wally World. That's be one simple pun. Or the boo donkeys. Mikey, my mom... Used to play that Rachmaninoff song on the piano when I was a kid. Hearing that brings back memories. That's P1 No Name. Don't cry. Mikey, speaking of reveals, when will Ashley finally reveal how she flooded her apartment? That's P1DB. Great question. P1DB original. Hey, please. I did no such thing. That is a far out question. However, Ashley writes in her yesterday email. Oh my gosh, my neighbor's place just got flooded again. My next door neighbor. Next door neighbor. Second time in like three months. The water came from her fridge both times, but they don't know what the problem is. Wet freaking bandit again. Okay. I'm telling you, dude. It's like following me. It probably thinks my neighbor is me and thus is flooding.
What is on the other side of her fridge? Do we know? A damn. Her bathtub. Oh my gosh. Is it really? It is not. Your bathtub is not on the other side of that fridge, is it? No. I just thought that was funny. But no. It's my bathtub. Her fridge is, there's like a wall inside her condo. There's a wall and it goes up against the wall in the fridge. And then on the other side of the wall is like her little hallway, which is where you'd like leave her place, her front door, you know. Well, there you go, ladies and gentlemen. We still have two reveals left, and that is Skye and B-Rob. Yes, Skye. Skye and B-Rob, next hour, are going to tell us something on the air that we, as her friends, have never heard, and that you, as listeners, have never heard. Our phone number is 570-1053. Skye said that yesterday she went to Pilates. The community center. It's lovely.
You went to Pilates at the community center? I've told you Wednesdays I take Pilates at the community center. And then Thursdays I do yoga at the community center. You are the youngest person in that building. In that building. Come on. That's true. Close to true. Then she went to lunch. Then she came home. And it says here that the boo. I'll just read it. This is a true statement. Came home and the boo proved to me that he is the bravest man in the world. He's extremely brave. He needed to do some repairs up near the roof. So he put the extension ladder out and was talking about how scary it was going to be going all the way to the top. So, of course, I said I would do it. No problem. I got halfway up, chickened out because it was too scary. And then he went all the way up and did it. So brave. I mean, it's amazing to me. I wish I could have seen that.
whole exchange from start to finish. From him being too scared to her agreeing to do it to her chickening out to him having to do it. That is... Well, it's an extension ladder. It's aluminum. It was extended all the way to like, you know, as far as it goes. You guys are nuts. It was a piece of wood right under the roof line that needed to be. And when you live in a castle. Yes. Four or five stories. It is a two-story house. Yes. And so, you know, he was saying, oh, it's really shaky, like the aluminum ladder. And I was like, oh, come on. I'll do it. Please, until I'm grabbing the little thing with the spackle on it. It barely reached the God Tower. And I start climbing, and I'm halfway up. I got halfway up the drawbridge. No, this thing was crazy, dude. When the moat gave way. And every time you would take a different step, it would, like, kind of shake and move. And the higher you got up there, the scarier it was. So I got halfway up there, and I said, I can't.
I can't. So I came back down, and he sucked it up and went all the way up there. It was amazing. It's especially terrifying because halfway up, there's centuries standing there. I had to get around the gargoyles. Yes. Whatever. I was very impressed by him and his bravery. Wow. What were you doing up there? Yes. We should. We should be knighted. We should. What were you doing up there? He climbs a ladder. Oh, shush. You wouldn't do it. You wouldn't do it. You would not, you know. I would not do it. Huh? I would not. Next time you come over, we'll put that. Dude, it's like crazy tall. Well, yeah. Uh-uh. You're holding it for him, right? And it's like shaky. Yeah. It's aluminum. It wasn't. Too many things can go wrong. You have to work on the catapults, Mike. Yes. You know, we light the big balls on fire and let them go at the enemy. Me and Rob do that stuff all the time. No, Rob does that stuff all the time. You pay Rob to do that stuff all the time. I take down all my Christmas lights by myself. But you didn't go up to the second story. I would if I had to.
What's the big deal? Next time you come over, I'll set it up for you. Okay. I was the same way. Yesterday I was like, oh, it's no, please, please. Because you know how, dude, you start climbing and it starts feeling all rickety? Exactly. Why are you guys doing that? Call somebody professional, will you? Well, that's what I was telling him. I'm like, let's pay somebody to do this. He's like, I'm not paying somebody to do this. I thought this handyman over here would be fine doing that stuff. Oh, I'd be fine doing it, but I was too scared about the height. Well, that's part of it. You were scared about the height? It wasn't about accidents that can happen? No, that's what I mean. That's what I was scared of. But I could actually do the task that was being done if it was down on a normal level. What were you doing? So you know how we had those storms right around Christmas and there were all the crazy winds and living out in East Escondido, the winds get pretty crazy out there. Tornados. Sometimes that's tornadoes. Three various occasions have been wind tornadoes that have swept through the area. Category F3s. Yes. With such ferocity that it could tear the roof right off. Right.
But when your home is made of solid stone, mate. Yes. The tornadoes can't do much damage. They can't even penetrate the outer wall. Yes. The guest house had some damage. A bit. A bit, but it's made of straw. Right. You can expect this, but anyway. Ramsey's quarters. Yes, Ramsey's quarters are made of straw. Straw and mud. Straw and mud. It's a mud hut. It's a mud hut. Oh. And many times he's afraid of the tornado season. He wants the bags to come in the house. He likes to come in and sleep at the foot of the big bed. Not going to happen. On the polar bear rug. And sometimes. What are you talking about? I can tell you exactly where you were, where we left off. There were storms that ripped through East County, Escondido. The eastern part of Escondido? Yeah. And they ripped her. Yeah. It knocked our dish out of alignment, and we didn't have, like, most of our HD channels for probably, like, about a month. Dude, call Dish Network. Oh, please. Well, we called DirecTV, and they came out, and they moved the dish to a new, safer, more sturdy location. Yeah. But when they moved it...
It left holes in the wood where it was before. And the boo was not going to have... And you could really see this? What do you mean? Like it was noticeable? Well, no, it's not noticeable, but you can't have exposed holes in the wood. You're just asking for Section 1 violations. Like, what are you doing? What the hell? What are you talking about? Is that new? Section one violations? Yeah, when you go to sell a house, bro. Is that where the Marines come in with, like, soap in the sock and the guy, they hit him in the stomach? Is that a section one? Wood rot is the big problem. Wait. What's up? If they did it, don't they have to fix that? Well, I said that to the boo when they were moving it. I was like, well, they're going to patch those holes. And he said, well, it's kind of a couple-day process, so I have to go up there anyway. Because you've got to spackle them, and then you have to wait for it to dry, and then you have to go back up and paint them. So it's like a two-step, two-day thing. If they did it, aren't they responsible for that? I don't think so. No? No, because even when you leave and leave a dish, they don't have to come get it. It's your responsibility. But even if they do damage to your home, that wouldn't do damage to your home if there's holes in there? You want the stuff up there. Did you ask them to move it, or did they say, no, we need to move it?
They said they need to move it because it was improperly installed the first time. I can't imagine that they're saying, we've got to move this thing. And by the way, we're going to put, you know, we're going to damage your wood. We didn't ask him to fix the wood because the boo was like, oh, they're, you know, they're not going to do it right anyway. He wanted, you know. He had to do it himself. Well, yeah, because it's a two-step process and he wants the paint to match and blah, blah, blah, blah. And so, so yeah, so he was up there spackling the holes in the wood. With the wood putty or whatever the heck. That's just asking for trouble, man. And then he'll go up there today and paint it. You're going to be there, right? Yeah, I'm the ladder holder. I'm the supervisor. I'm the foreman. I'm the project foreman. That's what it's all about, Mike. The text messages are coming in at 35253. This one says, Mikey, that music was very touching. Aww. I can also relate as I sobbed at the series finale of Home Improvement. P1 Crane. Very similar. Mikey, I cried at the Carol Burnett finale show as well. I loved that show. The bag lady with the pigeons in the park was my favorite. That's P1 Shan. That was a good bit. What? The hell? I don't know. I don't know.
Mikey, does Skye do Pilates in her mom's shorts? That's P1 Gordo. Good question. Skye, what do we do? What do we do Pilates in? Well, yesterday I wore what I wore to work. Some baggy, like, what are those? Capri sweats. Capri sun. And a tank top. Capri? You do Pilates in Capri pants and a tank top? Yeah, like baggy. You don't change into like workout? You don't change into like workout? Yeah. Well, I... did the first week but like today i'm going to spend spending money on workout clothes oh no i wouldn't go in workout clothes i'd like wear sweats and like a sports bra and like a junkie shirt but today i'm going in this like i wear a tracksuit twerks and a t-shirt so i'm going in this to yoga today you are something else why is that weird well aren't those like fashion uh Isn't that like a fashion track suit? Yeah, that's more. Well, dude, it's not like we're, you know, running the mile. Like, I mean, please. I'm doing yoga at the Escondido Community Center. It sounds pretty mellow. Yeah. Pretty laid back. Like, if you can sit Indian style in these, you're covered. You know what I'm saying? Do you even break a sweat? Do you break a sweat or no? But I did break my hip. That's plenty of wind. Yes. Yes, I've broken wind.
Never a sweat, no. My hip and wind, yes. I've broken. I can break a 20. Or a thousand. This text says, I bet Sky would climb that ladder if there was a ham on the ceiling. I just wanted to say... that you guys rock. I'm going through a divorce right now. Might lose the kids, all because my wife can't be faithful while I'm deployed or stateside. But every time I get the chance to listen to you guys, it brightens my day. Thank you so much. That's P1 Marine Orty. Thank you. Let's see. 570-1053. That is our text number if you would like to text message us. Steve Jobs, the... CEO of Apple is announcing that he's going to be taking medical leave in June. Yeah, this is weird. Till June, till June. Till June, yeah.
So basically, what was it, last week, the week before, where Apple made the announcement about Steve Jobs' health because people were like, you know, there were rumors flying because, you know, he fought cancer in the past and he's been getting really, really thin and kind of unhealthy looking. And so Apple made an announcement a week or two ago saying that, oh, Steve Jobs is fine. They just found out it's actually like this hormone imbalance and his body isn't absorbing nutrients right. And so, you know, that's why he looks so ill. out. They're going to fix him up. It's all good. Well, yesterday they announced he's taking medical leave until June and they said during the past week they've learned that his health related issues are more complex than they had originally thought. So yesterday Apple stock went down 10%. Oh. I have some of that. Yeah. I hope he's okay. I hope so too. And I hope that comes back up. So last night was American Idol. And I heard that Jason Castro, who was another contestant at one point. I loved him. I loved him. Yeah, dude. Melted in my heart when he was looking at my eyes with those icicle blue. Well, did you know that his brother tried out last night? Really? Yeah, his brother Michael Castro. Cut seven. We had the pleasure of having your brother last season. Yeah, man.
Why didn't you audition last year? I didn't sing. I just started singing like 20 days before the auditions. 20 days before the auditions? Like, Jay can sing, I can sing, right? Hey! I love it. I love this. So, do you think you can do this? I'm pretty sure I can. Well, let's hear what you're going to sing. What are you going to sing? I'm singing Love with a Girl by Gavin DeGraw. Love Gavin DeGraw. Ready? Pause. Pause. You know what? I'm going to make an observation immediately. You know how, first of all, he has a nice singing voice. Like you can hear that there's, you know what I mean? Like if somebody starts singing and you don't like it, you can immediately go, oh, that person can't sing. But when he sings, you can go, oh, yeah, he's got a nice, tone in his voice but the immediate observation that i make is that what he lacks is that thing one time on on american idol barry manilow came in there and he was given advice he was a mentor and he said and whatever you think about barry manilow whatever but one of his advice things was that when he was getting started out he didn't think he had a particularly good voice and so what he really really focused on
was making sure that every single word that came out of his mouth when he was singing, that he really felt it inside. And that it was very, and he felt the words of what he was saying. And the immediate observation that I made about what I just heard right there was that that was the opposite. That the words and everything that he's, it's just coming out, but there's not a lot of emotion or feeling or depth to it. The guy was very cocky. And like, well, my brother can sing. I can sing. So you can tell he doesn't care about, you know, whatever he's doing. Well, taking that into account, let me hear the singing again. Let's hear it. Let's start from. Let's take it from the top. Coming out of the number. Coming out of the number this time. You think you can do this? I'm pretty sure I can. Well, let's hear what you're going to sing. What are you going to sing? I'm singing Love with a Girl by Gavin DeGraw. Love Gavin DeGraw. Ready? So many people gonna say that they want you to try to get you thinking they really care. But there's nothing like the warmth of the one who has put in the time and you know he's gonna be there. I'm in love with a girl who's made better. Fell for the woman just when I met her. Took my sweet time when I was bitter. Now someone understands and she knows the wrong.
Give me that feeling every night. Wants to make love when I want to fight. Now, here's a real version. That guy sucked. Let's see if... You're fired or whatever that British guy says. As you listen to Gavin... Yes, he says you're fired. You're fired. As you listen to Gavin McGraw, see if he sort of has any feeling behind the actual words that he's singing. Okay. Yeah, it's sincere. It's sincere. Oh, yeah. It's his words. You really believe it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You believe what he's saying. That's a good song, too. That's real good. Did the judges put him through? They put him through? Oh, come on, dude. Yuckers. And it was kind of the new judge that was really into him. Was he hot? No. Well, I mean, he had this really goofy haircut.
It was like pink. Did she think he was hot? Yeah. You could tell she was like, oh, I like that you're cocky. And I like that you're kind of a bad boy. Really? You don't care. I like that. He's got a secret. I like how she puts him in, you know, but was hating on the girl who wore the bikini. I do not like this new female judge. That's a good point. Controversy. Controversy. Eddie said there was something that kind of got him. Jerks at American Idol. They got me with one of their stories. What was it? It was Danny Gokey? Yeah. Cut 16. For him, coming to audition today is nothing short of an emotional sacrifice. I hate talking about this because it's so painful. It's still so real. The wound is so deep. This guy's now offering Eddie the box of Kleenex. Four weeks before the audition, my wife passed away. She was born with a condition in her heart. And so basically throughout the years, she had to have surgery after surgery. Man, I remember when the doctors pulled me in the room and they said, you know, there's nothing else we can do for you. I said, you fight for her. I said, you do whatever it takes. I said, I'll take care of my part. I will pray. She was my best friend. We never got to say goodbye. Close to not trying out because of the grief. I mean, the grief is so intense.
But I decided I'm going to go through it because I really believe that people through me can see who my wife was. Dude, he hasn't sung yet, and I love him. I'm already, I'm already, I'm already, I love this guy. Yeah, and I was like, man, I hope he does good. I just got the chills. Life's too good. Oh, he better sing good. Cut 17. I bet you wonder how I knew about your plan to make me blue with some other guy. Thank you. Thank you. Very, very soulful. Good quality to your voice. Thank you. Good rhythm. You're in the pocket, on tune. I liked you so much. Didn't expect it. Yeah, I appreciate it. I thought that was great. I really did. I think you've got a lot of heart and soul in you. I really liked you. Thank you very much. I think you're one of the best we've seen. I was impressed. Crazy vocals from Danny. I agree. 100% for Danny J with the crazy vocals. Great vocals. I agree. I think you're one of the best we've heard. Can I get some knuckle punches here? Welcome to Hollywood.
Look at that. That guy's going to go real far. Oh, yeah, because you can't separate yourself from the story. Great story, and I thought he was the best so far I've seen. Oh, dude. He was really good. Good vocals. That dude was good. All right, we got to take a quick timeout. When we come back, we have more seats for tomorrow. Boston Rob and the Comedy Showdown. Boston Rob is going to be going up against Boy Blender doing stand-up comedy right here at the radio station in our performance studio. Wow. Yeah. That's funny. Let's see. Yeah, before we went to break, I said that there was a company that was going to be hiring up to 100 new employees. Right, Skye? Yeah, and today is the day to act on it. If you're looking for a job here in San Diego County, this sounds like some good stuff. Seth. Wait, no, Seth works here, though. He'll be on the show. What's up, bro? Okay. Well, I mean, wouldn't that be leading him away from us to say that? I'm just trying to help the guy. Oh, I see. All right. Right. Well, Barona is opening two brand new restaurants as well as needs additional staff for some of their existing restaurants. So they're looking to hire about 100 people out at Barona. So they're doing a job fair today from 10 o'clock this morning until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. They're looking for people who are looking for full-time work in the restaurant business, whether you're a cook, a server, a busser, a dishwasher, managers. They're looking for all of it. They say they offer great benefits, including health, dental, life insurance, 401K. So if you're interested in more information, go to the website. It's barona.com slash job fair. And it's today from 10 o'clock.
Ten to three. Nice. Yeah. Hey, Mikey, that was a good piece of Rachmaninoff. You should also listen to Rhapsody on a theme by Peggini. That was definitely something that will make people all for sure. That's P1 Classical Melody. Hey, Mikey, on the TV show, I don't really care about the singers. They're looking for stories and characters. That's P1 D'Amigo. I don't know. Maybe D'Amigo didn't think that he was a good singer. I thought he was good. I thought he sounded pretty good. Let's see. Told you about the job fair. What else we got? Oh, did you hear about this? Apparently, Slash is being very outspoken in support of an elephant habitat. Yeah. Where, Skye? At the L.A. Zoo. Yeah, I read this. And it's like out of all the big things going on in the world, Slash is calling on the L.A. City Council to put up money to finish a new state of the art. habitat for endangered Asian elephants at the L.A. Zoo. Slash specifically names an elephant named Billy who has been there at the zoo for 20 years. And he says he wants everybody to support this because this cause is very, very important to him. I think we have Billy on the phone. Oh, Billy's on the line? Billy the elephant? Are you there, Billy? Yeah, I'm here. Billy, what's up, man? Hey, guys. How's it going?
What? That's killer. Yeah, I'm, um, no, go ahead. Are you calling from the Habitat right now, or? Uh, yeah, I am, actually. I'm doing a, I'm doing a, um. Wow. I'm kind of in a bad mood, guys. You sound a little down, Billy. What's going on? I did an interview with Opie and Anthony, and they were kind of rude to me. I'm sorry. We're not all like that. Yeah, you're welcome here, Billy. They were asking me what I was wearing and all that kind of stuff. Oh, so that's just stupid. I'm trying to live in the now, so anyway. So you and Slash are friends out here. Yeah, we are. That's pretty cool. And I was just kind of, I don't really know if you want to call it friends because I was actually on Axel's side. Oh, wow. Oh, my gosh. I don't know if he knows that. Yeah, I wouldn't bring that up. Chinese democracy, I kind of feel, was underrated. Really? You have a copy of that, Billy the Elephant? I call it a tour de force, actually. Really? Oh, wow. That's interesting. Welcome to the jungle. Yeah. Overrated. No, that's not true. Oh, hey, Billy. I disagree. Yeah, I gotta take this stupid hat off, bro.
Oh, wow. Hey, he's supporting you. I know. I thought you were friends. Why are you... Nice guitar hero ad. Sell out. Hey, he's trying to get you a new habitat, Billy. Billy the elephant. Well, here's the deal. I'm pretty excited about the fame that's going on right now. It doesn't sound like it, but... But okay. Some cool stuff has happened since this story broke. What's that? I met John Krasinski and Kevin Smith. They're both cool. I got both my cell phone. That's awesome. Got an invite to the Oscars. Really? Yep. Are you going to go? And then yesterday, out of nowhere, I got a text from Taylor Swift, which was kind of cool. Wow. She's huge right now. Have you heard Fearless? No. Good. It's really good. It is. You seem really into music. Oh, I love music. Oh, okay. I love a lot of stuff. You guys probably wouldn't even believe the weirdos that came here to the zoo to meet me. Oh, yeah. I bet. This one time... I was just hanging out trying to stay cool near the watering hole, and this guy comes in in a panda suit, and he's doing this Ukrainian dance. I'm like, whoa, and what am I supposed to do with that? Creep. That's hilarious. Oh, hi, who's that? That's our friend Sean. Oh, I'm Billy the Elephant. How do you do? Whatever.
Sean, don't be rude to Billy. Yeah, sometimes I feel like telling celebrities like Slash, if you really care so much, why don't you come live in this dung-filled enclosure and let me go live in your mansions in Hollywood Hills? Well, I don't blame you for feeling that way. Slash, write this down. Plasma TV, like that. I want to watch Madagascar 2 in HD when it comes out. Oh, that's great. Makes sense. Oh, I don't know. How about a Wii, Slash? How about a Wii? These are all cool things. Did you guys know I'm good friends with a lot of rock stars? You are? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. Ever heard of Scott Weiland? Really? Billy the Elephant and Scott Weiland are friends. Yeah, can't tell you about too much of it. Why? Wildbender. Holy cow. You and Scott Weiland. Really. Sounds like a party. That's weird. Oh, no, Eddie. No, obviously I can't be friends with Scott Weiland because I'm an elephant. I can't party, right? Is that the deal? I didn't mean anything by it. I didn't mean anything by it, but I just... Uh-huh. Elephantist. I'm not an elephantist. Well, he kind of is, Billy. I'm not going to lie to you. You know, why don't you guys try having a disease named after you? Elephantitis. Ever heard of it? Yeah. It's kind of messed up.
You know what I mean? I want to clear up some rumors if I can. I can't fly, okay? Why was that a rumor? Even if there's a feather in your trunk? No, even if there's a feather in my trunk. So parents, can you stop letting your kids believe in that stupid dumbo moving? Billy, are you there? It's so irritating. And then Opie and Anthony were like... So how are you dating? And what does she look like? Have you gone out with that girl that used to be on that 70s show? Wait, what? I don't even know what they're talking about. And one of them's saying this kind of thing. Now, Billy, I don't want to go the Opie and Anthony route, but I have a legitimate question. Is your phone that you're on right now, is it normal size or is it like a huge phone? Well, I want to know because how does it work? I'm talking on a 14-foot phone.
Because you know what? They make 14-foot phones, and I just went down to Target and I bought 14-foot phones. I'm sorry, Billy. I just don't know. You're big. You're a big guy. Don't call him fat. Don't call him fat. Don't call him fat. I weigh three tons, okay? And it sucks, all right? Touchy subject. Touchy. Try going LAX, and you try going through all the... Okay, I'm sorry. I won't ask anything else. Right now, my living situation sucks, okay? Does it? Yeah, I'm sharing a townhome with this guy that I met in an audition. You guys have a minute? Can I tell you about this? Well, I guess. I met this guy in an audition, okay? And we're both going for that. Subway commercial, the $5 foot long thing. And at the time, it seemed like it would be cool to move in with him because we both had a lot in common, but now the situation's a little old and I'm just like, ugh. And the Opie and Anthony thing and I'm trying to live in the now. What are you talking about? Ugh. And I'm doing a lot of stuff with Disney right now. Hang on, my agent wants me. You're an elephant. Sorry. He wants me to...
He wants me to do a Disney thing. They're huge endorsers of mine. You guys know Disney's in on me? Really? Really? That's pretty cool, dude. A lot of people don't know this, but I was the original Dumbo. Wait, that was... That was a baby. That was a baby. Really? That's crazy. But it's not that big a deal. I was a child protégé. A protégé? Protégé, not a protégé? What did I say? Protégé. Protégé. Did you say that? Do they have an elephant dictionary? Yeah, it's 14 feet. You guys know who Lars Ulrich is? Of course you do. She's a friend of mine. What? You sure know a lot of rock stars. Name dropper. I'll never forget the time we were sitting on my love sack and we were drinking Perrier. Perrier? Perrier. We were just chatting about life, spirituality, and I happened to mention that I like wooden shoes. Oh, you just happened to mention that. Just threw that in there. I brought it up. Okay. Weird. Tell him about the hooves. Is he there with you? Is that Lars? Is that Lars? Yeah, Lars is here right now. Oh, wow. What an exclusive. Tell him about the hooves. What is he saying? Who's hooves? Oh, yeah. Lars, about a week later, he found out that I like wooden shoes, so he came over with a vintage pair of wooden hooves for me. Okay. Cool.
It was the only pair that was ever made. Can you please ask Lars to butt out? Hey you guys, what's up? It's me, Lars. So yeah, I brought him some wooden hoops. Get out of here. Billy's on the phone. He's doing an interview right now. Every day you do this. Oh, he's calling back Opie and Anthony. He's really upset. So many things can go wrong with your car. We made a commercial for the Crash the Super Bowl competition for Doritos, and out of almost 2,000 entries, we made it into the top five. Now, explain what that is. The commercial, it's called The Chase, and it's just this really cute spot. But what is the contest? What is the Dorito contest? It's basically to be played in the Super Bowl. Sweet. Yeah. If we win the USA ad meter for the best. career Doritos commercial, then we are going to win a million dollars. So Doritos was doing this thing where they said, make a Dorito commercial, and if we like it, we'll use it in the Super Bowl. Yeah. The number one, you know, the one that gets the most votes is going to be in the Super Bowl for sure. And so yours is called The Chase. The Chase, uh-huh. And how do people go and vote for it? All you have to do is go to Vote for the Cat, because there's a cat, a really cute cat. Yeah, Sky must have loved that. Voteforthecat.com and vote for The Chase. Or you can also go to CrashTheSuperBowl.com and vote for us. You can vote every day until the 25th. And then during the Super Bowl, if our commercial comes on, then we'll know we've won.
Awesome. That's cool. That's how you find out. I know. Isn't that crazy? That's kind of cool because that's going to make watching the Super Bowl more interesting for us. Oh, it'll be a lot more fun. So if you're a P1, if you're a Mikey Show listener, and you listen to us and you're big fans of the Mikey Show, support this. Go to voteforthecat.com and vote for her and try to get her commercial on. on the Super Bowl. And if she does, she wins a million bucks, which would be cool. And it's really awesome. So who made the, did you get together with a friend and you do this or you know how to make commercials and stuff? Well, I am a full-time actress and I live in L.A. now. Oh, la, la. Hey, hello. Excuse us. From San Diego, you know. And actually four of us from the commercial are from San Diego. Two other producers and the other actor. Jeremy, Cyril, and I. Jeremy, who just happens to be one of San Diego's hottest young bachelors. Oh, hello. And so a couple guys got together and said, hey, here's this competition. Let's see what we can do. And the rest is all about to be history. There you go. Nice. Voteforthecat.com and check the commercial out. Vote for it. And you could be seeing Melissa on the Super Bowl commercials.
Dude, I'm watching the commercial right now. Like, I can't hear it, but I'm watching it, and it looks sick. It's pretty cool. It's pretty cool. Like, it's totally legit. Yeah, it really turned out well. Wow. Well, we support you, Melissa. I will vote for you. We hope you win. All right, me too. Thanks so much. You got it. We'll talk to you later. Bye, guys. Bye. That's Melissa. She's sweet. Voteforthecat.com if you want to vote for her. How does Eddie get his headphones off that fast? I don't know. Lightning fast. Lightning fast. Was that something from Solstice's greatest hits? Yes, it was. Yes, it was. Well, no, it isn't. Eddie, they don't have a singer. It's all instrumental. Yeah, I forgot. All instrumental. Dang it. Bin Laden has released another audio tape on the Gaza conflict. Oh, good. Yeah, this is the first time. Is it a remix or is it a? No, no, it's just like an audio tape of him. Did he enter the Dorito contest? Well, no, I don't know. Yeah, did he do that? I mean, maybe he did, but not that I've heard of it. Did he connect his iPod and mix between one and the other? Well, he has Pro Tools. He does.
I heard that Obama uses Pro Tools. Yeah. Obama, by the way. Oh, no. Slip of the tongue, Mike. No big deal. Yeah, Obama is going to be our president in a couple days. That was a genuine slip of the tongue. It happens, Mike. No worries. Well, when your name is Obama, yeah, sometimes it does. For sure. Sometimes, you know, it does. Middle name Hussein. Yeah. Not kidding. Not kidding. So sometimes it happens. Obama sounds a lot like Osama. Go ahead, Sky. So this is the first message we've heard from Osama bin Laden since last May. In the message, he urges Muslims to launch a holy war against Israel and condemn all the allies of the Jewish state. He also vows that al-Qaeda will open new fronts against the U.S. and its allies beyond Iraq and Afghanistan. The Bush administration, their response to the tape is the fact that the tape has come out now, three weeks after the attacks.
gaza started that really shows how isolated bin laden is if it's taken him three weeks to put out a tape regarding this something that started you know a while ago i don't believe that you don't you don't buy that take from the bush administration yeah this guy wanted to say the bush administration at the end of that to point out that this is coming from the bush administration which is in fact the party that i belong to the republican party and she just wanted she wanted to make sure that she was driving that point home I was just reporting the news, Mike. No. But I don't buy that. I don't buy that he didn't know for three weeks, but maybe that's their way of kind of poking fun at him to sort of try to rile him up. Yeah, or trying to keep the American people, like, calm and like, hey, this, you know, no need to worry about this guy. And they're drawing the rats out of their holes is what we're trying to do, you know. That's right. I like it. What? Mikey from... From Dan Patrick to Billy the Elephant. Yeah, well-rounded show we got here. We do it all. Love the show. That's P1 Donuts. You're welcome. Mikey, Billy was my favorite interview I've ever heard on the show. That was P1 Matt. We learned a lot. Awesome. OMG, Billy the Elephant. I love that character. This was hilarious. What do you mean character? I don't get it. I don't think he'd enjoy that. I don't think he'd appreciate that. No, I know he wouldn't.
I absolutely love how famous he swears he is. And he's quite a name dropper. That's P1 filler. Obviously, Billy the elephant is using his Blue Tusk wireless device. Can Mikey give the number out for AIS? P1 driving with no insurance. Yes, I can. 1-800-777-4AIS is the number. Mark Sanchez. Quarterback for USC. You know it. My father's a big fan. I wonder why. Must be a USC thing. Yeah, he loves USC. Must be that he loves USC. I don't remember him talking about Matt Leiner, Carson Palmer. Yeah, I don't either. I don't remember that either. But he's a big fan of Mark Sanchez. His last name was Sanchez. Is he Mexican? Well, he is. Oh, my goodness. That's definitely a coincidence. Your dad is Mexican. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think it'll be cool his Mark Sanchez jersey can go right next to his Jeff Garcia jersey. That'll be cool. Yeah. But anyway, Mark Sanchez, what's the latest with him? He's going to announce later today that he's entering the NFL draft. Is he a senior? He's a junior. Really? Do you think he's ready, Eddie? Yeah, he's going to be a number one draft pick. Really? So, yeah, absolutely. Any of those guys that come out of that USC program are NFL ready, usually. You know what I mean? No, USC is what I know. Definitely rivals. And, yeah, they play on, like, a pro-style offense, so they're usually going to be pretty good in the NFL. Sorry, Matt Leinert. No. Let's see. The Spurs and the Lakers were playing basketball together in a contest yesterday. That's weird. Last night. How did that go, Eddie? Kind of surprised. Spurs beat the Lakers. Yes. 112-111. So Spurs still got it. They're always going to be there with a decent team. Right, Rob? Listen, I win. I want to have a favorite basketball team. Should it be the Suns or the Lakers? Lakers. Lakers? Yeah. Because then you and Rob can really go at it. Oh, yeah. Go with the Suns. Sky says this John Mayer variety show on CBS is probably going to happen. Oh, yeah.
I hope that's the end of his career. Why John Mayer? You're so successful at what you're doing. Just leave it alone. I think the overall sentiment is going to be that people resent him for both. Just be a singer and don't be good at a bunch of stuff because I'm not and I don't like that. CBS has definitely green-lighted the John Mayer variety show. It's ready to go. They're working out the details. They're trying to figure out whether it should be a one-time thing and then they should gauge it by that if, you know, if people want it to become a full thing or if they should just commit to a full series of it. It'd be like Lenny Kravitz coming out saying, I'm a magician now. Wait, that would be cool, though. Really? I would. Hey, man, like, you know what? Dreadlocks disappear. That's what I was thinking. You know, and there's already David Copperfield. Let him be. Do your thing, bro. You know what I mean? Don't be a mind freak. Don't be a magician. Don't be anything. Just be Lenny. I don't want you to be both. Okay. It's time for us to take a quick timer. Timer. And then the reveal for Sky and B-Rob.
If you don't know what we're talking about, all morning long, we've been doing Mikey show reveals. So Ashley told us real early this morning in the six hour that when she was a senior in high school, she tried out for cheerleading and didn't make it. Which I think the biggest thing in that was that after she said she did ballet at the mall. No, when I was a kid. Which. How is that known when she was a kid? That's crazy. How did we not know you did ballet at the mall as a kid? What are you doing ballet at the mall? I actually tried to book her at Scoops and Tubes. But she was already booked. After Ashley revealed that, Sean revealed that he, in high school, was in a new age band. What was it called? Solstice. Nice. And then Eddie revealed that he worked at Scoops and Tubes, which was a kid's... I managed. Managed it. Get it right. He was a kid's wonderland. That's what it was. Seth revealed that he used to do spray paint art, graffiti, and was tasered by the police. That's awesome. I revealed that I was moved to tears at about 11, 12 years old by the classical music of Rachmaninoff. And these are things that we've never told each other on the show or on the air.

Sky, concerning the John Mayer show, isn't that one-time thing called a pilot episode? That's P1 Spatzer. No, that's different, I think. Because like with Rosie O'Donnell, what they did with her variety show, it was like, oh, a one-time big special. And then if they liked it, a pilot is like, a pilot, I don't know. A pilot's like when they do like a TV show for a special thing, like Fox Force 5. That's right, baby. Let's see. Apparently, people are taking the Mikey Show reveals to heart, and now they are texting us to let us know things about them. Oh, good. I've been dying to know. Yeah, I have been. Mikey, I've never told anybody this, but when I was nine, I used to chew gum that I found in the street. That's P1. You too? You just stole Rob's. That's P1 Droop. That's too much. Ew. Wow. You've been robbed. That's so gross. Hey, Mikey, what area code is 5701053N? I can't call in. It'll work at any area code here in San Diego County. So you can use 760858619, whatever. Mikey, was Sean's band name spelt S-O-L-S-T-I-S-E or S-O-U-L? Oh, get it, get it. S-T-I-S-E. Thanks, that's P1 Yamamama. Best question of the day.
Was there like a play on words there, Sean, where you tried to do like solstice? No, that doesn't fit that. You guys are jerks. It's time to do the reveal. I want more of Sean. No. Yeah, I'll forego mine for more Sean. No, thanks. Did he answer? Did he answer, yeah, Sean, what was it? What kind of solstice? How'd you spell it? It's new age music, dude. How did you spell it? S-O-L. Oh. It's not soul music. I don't know what we all are. Well, I just... It's stupid. It's stupid. I forgot that. That was scary, Mike. Sorry. Rob. I got it. Okay. You gotta give him credit. That was a good one. Shut up. That was hilarious. Shut up, Eddie. Sorry, I had a lot. Get it? SOL. You're not. We are doing our reveals. And we will now hear from Boston Rob. Rizzy. Well, when I was in high school, my first freshman year and my first sophomore year. Your first one because you repeated them? I repeated the sophomore. Okay. Yeah, I did that twice. Yeah. I didn't know that. We've already gotten somewhere. Yeah, I was on the five-year plan. I dropped out in my first sophomore year, halfway through. Why? Really?
Hated school and I just thought I could do construction for the rest of my life. So I dropped out and just went to work full time. Wow. And then to get back, I had to go to night school. So I was working construction and going to night school. That's crazy in itself. That's totally irrelevant to what I was going to say. Sorry. What do we not know about you, Rob? Oh, man. Well, I used to be in a breakdancing crew and we used to go to raves on the weekends and it was called Pink Five. That's it. Hold on. That's it. Oh, we're too fast. I want to slow down. And Sky, go. Your sophomore year, you were in Pimp 5, and this was a breakdance crew? Yeah, yeah. It was me, the other Rob, Chris, Matt, and Sean. The other Rob. He was known as the other Rob. We were Rob squared. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course you were. You've been robbed. Do you still remember any of your moves? Do you remember, like, your routine? I was working on...
Can you do some of it? Right now, I probably couldn't. If you want to kill tomorrow, do that on stage. I would probably kill myself if I tried any of these moves because everything was very acrobatic stuff. How old was I? Maybe 14, 15, 16? Maybe that can be your and Eddie's next challenge. No. I vote no on that one. Someone has to have some of that on video. One of the guys from the Pimp 5. I know. One of the guys from the Pimp 5. You know. Pimp 5. Please. Greatest name ever. I know. I still got pictures of like us. Bring them in. Bring them in. And we used to go, you know, downtown. Well, we used to practice that. You need to bring that in. Immediately. Don't ignore us. Bring them in. I got a bunch of photo albums. Please, bring them in. Bring them in. We need to scan them and put them on the website. We used to go down to the Masonic Lodge in downtown Framingham because they would have different crews from around different cities would come there and practice. I remember when we used to go down to the Masonic place. Downtown Framingham. We had this one drugstore where they had a separate cardboard. Was it Harper's?
No. Oh, okay. Jeez. Eddie. Because it happens. No, but you know how the dumpsters, there will be one for just cardboard. I forget. You guys, all right. You're a shot. Do you know what? No, you're not done. Yeah, there's a dumpster just for cardboard. And that's what we used to steal the cardboard out of that. Because it wasn't free. In fact, you know, they would steal it because. Unlike other people that had to pay the good money to get the cardboard in the dumpster, you know. Most people were paying $14 a throwaway cardboard box, you know, per square foot. We're not going to go out and buy, like, the cardboard boxes at home. Bob, I think it was free, though. That's the thing. I don't know that you were actually stealing it. I think it was free. That was awesome. The Pimp Five could have gotten that for free no matter what. Thank you. Thank you, Eddie. Eddie got you. Pimp Five. Eddie got you. That's great, Rob. You're a gem. Hard. What was your favorite song to dance to? Oh, yeah. Just any breakbeats. We had mixtapes. That was mixed up by friends. Did you plug in an iPod to a device that sort of split? That wasn't around then. I didn't know. What did you wear? All I rocked was the Adidas shell toes, Adidas windbreaker pants. Members only jacket.
What did your hair look like? Awesome. Like vanilla ice? Yeah, yeah. It was awesome. Thank you. It was like before we shaved it. It was maybe a little bit shorter than that. Shaved lines in the side, like horizontal lines in the side of your head? Oh, that'd be great. Homemade. No. White guy. Five white guys. Was there anybody of ethnic origin in the Pimp Five? Uh-uh. Well, not in our crew. So it's the white boys. Yes, it's the five white boys. Stop. Well, all with blue eyes, by the way. Was Marky Mark in it? No, he wasn't. You're a jerk. How about Ben Affleck? In the band that I was in at the time. No, actually, his brother Casey. Yes. He's the one that used to steal the cardboard. Yes, he was the tough one. He's the one who used to steal the free cardboard. Yeah, he would steal the free cardboard. Okay. And I'd put his sandwich on layaway. That is a great joke. Thanks. For me. Hey, how much for the free cans? Excuse me, sir. How much do you want for the free cans? I'm going to steal this cabbage. Yes. Oh, here we go. Oh, yeah, dude. Hey, other Rob, nail that. Hit that move. There you go. Yeah, dude. Head spin. There you go. Come on, let's bring it back, Rob. Nah, that's how I almost broke my...
Pimp 6. Eddie's in the band now. The crew. Sorry. The crew. With a K. That was some good music. Eddie's got it. There it is. There it is. Oh, yeah. Get it. Get it. Get it. Yes. There you go. Thank you. Thanks. And now it's done. That was fun. Pimp 5. Pimp 5 and Solstice on the same day. That's right. So awesome. But we've saved the best for last. We don't even know what I'm going to say. Oh, whatever it is is going to be good. It's got to be great. We are all revealing things about ourselves that we've never revealed on the air or to each other. Sky. Here we go. Well, mine has a dance theme as well. Oh, no. So when I move.
See, I danced a lot when I was, you know, growing up in high school and what have you. Cheerleader. For money, whatever. Oh, that was a cult. That was a very... I'm upset about my reveal. It was one time. Yes. Hilarious. It was one time. One summer. I mean, can you forgive me? I was reading a book. Thank you. One thing led to another. And eventually I worked as a stripper for you. I was a stripper. A strip club. Yes, a strip club for one. I haven't even started. I like the script clue. I know. I like it too. I'm sorry. You guys cut it out. So, yeah, I danced all through high school. And then I moved away from the Bay Area to go to college for my first couple years of college. And decided that I wanted to keep dancing. I missed it, you know. And so I'm probably like 18, close to 19 years old at this point. Living where? away from home. And... What is that? I don't want to get too specific. Didn't you go to... I don't know. San Marcos, right? I don't know. You see San Marcos. So you were living in San Marcos? What's going on? We're going to tear these walls down. Dude, tear down these walls. Well...
And another tidbit going into this story for listeners who don't know me very well. I'm very frugal. This is true. I am tight with a dollar. She is. Money, money, money. Save all this. Tight with a dollar. Oh, yeah. Did you get that clip? I'm tight with a dollar. Very frugal. Okay. So I want to get back into dancing again. But, you know, since I'm living away from home, I'm not really familiar with the area or the dance scene or anything like this. There's a dance scene? Well, I mean, when you dance for like a long time. The dance underworld. Oh, okay. When you dance for a long time in a certain area. You know the different... The seedy underbelly of the dance world. Of dance. The seedy underbelly of dance. Can you stop? The clandestine world of dance. That's not what I'm saying. You know the different dance studios. You know what are good dance studios. No, we don't. I might say that's what I'm explaining to you. When you dance, you know these things. You know these things. Freemasons, got it. Yes. Total secretive.
Do you know the handshake? Yes. You may enter. Yes, the palm fronds fly at midnight. Let me in. Now let's dance this sucker. You know the secret dance move. Go. That's not what I'm saying. So anyway, so, you know, I'm new to the area. I don't know anything about, you know, the dance stuff in this area. So I start searching through the Yellow Pages for a good dance studio to join. Because I want to start dancing again. I want to keep it going, you know? Let's see. San Marcos, Yellow Pages. Let's see. And a little bit even. And what have we got here? Nothing. Let's go to studio. And, well, let's see the underbelly. There you go. Ah, here it is. See the underbelly dance bar. I'm sorry. Dance studio. Dance studio. Dance studio. I'm done. You offered me Kleenex. What's this place? Lips? It's nothing like sexual or creepy. I mean, it's a dance studio where people learn to dance. Pure platinum. That sounds like money. Cheetahs. Okay. All right.
So I call around, and then I find this one that has a very good reputation, according to them, of course, and, you know, claiming that, you know, they've won awards and, you know, good dancers have come out of there and blah, blah, blah. So I sign up for a class. I pay in advance for a six-month class. I show up to said class, and it's me and a bunch. Of little girls. No. No. I am 19 years old. No. And the girls in the class are between, I'd say, 12 and 16. Oh, that's fantastic. But I've already paid in advance and it's non-refundable. Shut up. So you took the class. No, you did not. And did a performance. No. No. Because the end of the year performance was part of the class. Shut up. I was the only one with breasts in the whole class. Okay, Eddie, we can put this together. Somebody's got to be listening that lives in San Marcos whose kid was there that took pictures of this recital in San Marcos. We've got to do the math. Oh, let me tell you. 12 years ago, that'd be 99, 98, 97. 1997.
What was the name of the dance? Oh, let me tell you. Oh, come on. Please. Please. Right. Did the kids make fun of you? Or was it weird? Who's the old lady? You know what I mean, though? What did you wear in the performance? Well, they didn't make fun of me, but in no way was like I involved in any of their clicks. You know how like, you know, like I was a loner. And the teacher of the dance class was my age. You were the dark one. I was the same age as the girl teaching. The girl teaching went to UC Irvine at the time, and her and I were both, you know. Were you better dancers than these kids, or were you about the same age? Oh, yeah, I kicked that butt, man. I wiped the mat with those little things. Out of the way from me and my breasts. You see these ladies? Maybe Sunday, baby. Out of the way. Puberty coming through.
No, there were girls that were better than me. Hey, Raisin Smugglers. Out of the way. What a real lady in the studio. And a one and a two. And a one, two, three. Hey, gals, milk, milk lemonade. P1 Casey? Hello? Hi. Hi. What were you calling to say? I was calling to say that me and my little sister were in that class. Shut up. Hold on a minute. All right, Skye, Skye, grill her. Grill her. Let's find out if she was. Let's see. Well, tell me something. Yeah, tell her something. Tell Skye something that you remember about it. Oh, man. Dang it. She lied. She was lying. Damn. We'll find it. We'll find it someday. And if not... Man, I hope P1s don't superimpose pictures. The Mikey Show is on. I just want to say I love this show. I listen to you guys every single day.

Practically looking through him. Uh, yeah, yeah, I guess. I mean, anyway, I thought my shoes were untied, or... That wasn't it. Nope, nope, and then I thought maybe it was my new haircut.
