The episode began with host Mikey referencing the recent 14-day marriage of Eddie Murphy and Tracy Edmonds, while also noting Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers was held out of practice and defended his trademark mouthing-off behavior. Ashley, the show's assistant producer and American Idol hopeful, was revealed to have been featured in a nationally aired Idol promo during the previous night's episode, where Randy Jackson joked about William Hung as Ashley blinked at the camera, sparking debate over her singing ability versus Christy's email claiming she could sing. Listeners called in about the Oceanside daycare center scandal, where a three-year-old girl wandered away for hours due to a new assistant's mistake, prompting argument over whether the owner or the assistant was ultimately responsible. The program concluded with the announcement of tomorrow's extreme contest where one man and one woman must jump into a vat of clam chowder goggled in Speedos or bikinis to win tickets to the Chargers-Patriots AFC Championship game, and Boston Rob premiered his latest novelty song about a stolen churro.

6.05. Just 14 days after trading vows, Eddie Murphy and Tracy Edmonds have called it quits. Phillip Rivers was held out of practice yesterday, still day-to-day, and he came out and defended his, uh, how do we say, mouthing off? Could use other words, but... Week's gone by kind of fast for me. It's Thursday already. I can't believe it's Thursday. It's kind of been quick, the way this has gone. Uh, Tomorrow is already going to be the big day that we're doing the contest to give away the tickets to go to the AFC championship game. But I think the biggest thing on my mind right now is the fact that Ashley was on American Idol last night in a promo. Now, if you didn't already know, our girl Ashley tried out for American Idol. And it was a while ago. I mean, when did you do that, Ash? Well, it would be in July.
Can you imagine how I didn't realize it was that long ago? I know, right? That's crazy. So Ashley tried out for American Idol in July. And last night, if you were watching American Idol, at the very end of the show, I didn't see it. Eddie, you saw it. Yeah, she's the very last person you see on American Idol. And Eddie was talking to Ashley. Ashley, you didn't see it, right? People told you about it? I saw it this morning. You saw it this morning. Because I got a bunch of texts and stuff. So I just fast-forwarded because I'd recorded it. Oh, okay, so you watched it at home. Yeah, like I watched it first thing when I woke up this morning. I just fast-forwarded it to the end. Okay, so describe exactly what you saw. I saw them going, next week we're going to go to San Diego, you know, and they're showing, like, everyone going, welcome, San Diego. Right. And it's like a quick 30-second little promo with, like, bad singers, good singers, people with gold tickets. At the very end, they're like, and, you know, they're going to take the good, and, like, they show a clip of Randy going, love you, you're in. And the bad or something. And Randy goes, you ever heard of William Hung? And then it just shows me really quickly like looking confused, kind of like smiling. And then it just closes out. That's it. There you go. Real quick. So that means Ashley is going to be on American Idol next week. Now, do they say Monday? Do they specifically? Tuesday. Tuesday. Yeah. Okay.
So Tuesday and next, I don't know why, it's not on Monday, is it? Yeah, Idol's on on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I don't know why I think that. So Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tuesday. So Tuesday and next week you can see her. Now, if you want to see a picture of her right now, we got a screenshot of her on American Idol. And if you want to see it, go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com, and type in the keyword Idol, and hit enter. It's real easy now. We made it so that if you go to the Mikey Show website and you want to find things, we have this little thing at the top that says keyword, and it's easy. One of the things that was making me crazy, my eyes was going crazy. No. One of the things that was making me crazy was that it was hard to find things. I mean, it was hard for me. I'd be saying, hey, go to the website and look for blah, blah, blah, and I'm trying to describe where it is. It was so difficult.
Now, when you want to see stuff that we're doing, it is so easy. There's a thing that says keyword, and you type in idol. I just did it right now. And it will take you directly to the picture of Ashley. It says, finally, proof that Ashley made it on American Idol. Here's the evidence thanks to P1 number three for the screen cap. Now, let me tell you, this American Idol is like the CIA. They swear you to secrecy. Ashley hasn't been able to talk about anything. And when you do see her on American Idol, they're going to use her real name, Sarah, because she couldn't give the name Ashley. They wanted ID, DNA, blood, urine samples, stool samples. They wanted every sample. My first child. Yeah, they did a pap smear. It was really uncomfortable for her.
That was just for funsies, though. Yeah. And so, if you want to see a picture of Ashley, and she looks gorgeous. Oh, hey. You're sweet. She looks gorgeous. Imagine that girl just blinking. Yeah. And that was her on idle last night. Awesome. I can't wait. Like, the countdown is on. I can't wait until Tuesday. Unbelievable. I cannot wait. Our phone number here is 570-1053. P1 Sean. What's up, guys? What's up, dude? I just want to know if the American Idol judge is telling Ashley she's bad finally gives her the idea that she can't sing. Because I know she thinks she can sing. I try to be mean. Who said she was bad? All they asked her is if... If she's ever heard of William Hunt. Heard of William Hunt. Yeah, I don't know that that... You're jumping to conclusions. You're jumping to conclusions. Thank you, Eddie. Totally jumping. Yeah. You know what, dude? You've just never heard her sing Freak on a Leash. Thank you, Mike.
It's free. It's free. Huh? Oof. Wow. That's great. How do you feel now? I'm America's sweetheart. I'm sorry. I'm very sorry. Want to hear her sing Chop Suey? Not really. All right. Wake up. Grab a little makeup. Grab a little makeup. Grab a little makeup. Grab a little makeup. Grab a little makeup. Because you wanted to. Grab a little makeup. Because you wanted to. Grab a little makeup. Because you wanted to. Grab a little makeup. Because you wanted to. So there you go. So full of joy. That's right. It's not easy. It's not easy. It's true. Next week, American Idol. Wow. Our very own Sarah Ashley will be on. Oh, gosh. I know it for sure. Be on national TV. Thank you, listener. All right. Thank you, listener. I appreciate that. Peace, love, and chicken grease, man. Thank you. Someone paparazzi is on the line. Oh, Eddie's smile faded immediately. That was the quickest. Oh, no. That was the quickest Eddie's smile. That was the quickest Eddie's smile ever faded. No. Paparazzi? Yes. Yeah, his name is Brad. We call him P1 Paparazzi. I like him. I'm a fan. I'm in the paparazzi fan club. We were having fun. And, you know, we call him that because he takes pictures. We used to take pictures. We would go out and do appearances and stuff like that. What are you up to, paparazzi? It's another day in the neighborhood. There you go. I'm wondering, when can you officially talk about the American Idol and what happened on it? Do you have to wait until the show airs or what? Ashley?
You know, Ashley, what's so funny about it is you talk about it and nothing's going to happen. You know what I mean? But I'm going to leave it up to you. It's your call. I'm going to let Ashley decide when she wants to talk about it. I signed my life away that I am not allowed to talk about it until the episode airs. So we'll talk about it next Wednesday. Perfect. It'll air on Tuesday and on Wednesday we'll discuss. Wednesday we can discuss. Everything that went down. You won't believe the entire process. We can discuss whatever we want, but not until then. It's an ordeal. Oh, man. 570-1053. P1 Louie is on the line. Hey, what's up, guys? Good morning. What's going on? I'm so excited about this upcoming game with the Chargers. I know it, man. Yeah, and I can't wait until we play Eli Manning in the Super Bowl because he didn't want to be in our team. Remember about that? Hey, dude. I'm telling you, man, when the thought of the game comes into my head, I put it out of my head. When the thought of the game, I'm getting real superstitious. I don't want to think about it. Really? Yeah, I don't want to. I've been thinking a lot about storylines.
This weekend, just the fact that we're playing against Junior Seau and Rodney Harrison. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, that in itself is amazing. And just allow yourself to think for a second, like this caller just said. What if? No, Eddie, don't, don't, don't, don't, no, no, no. What if? Just allow yourself. I can't let myself go there. I can't let myself go there. Let's think about it for 10 seconds, and then we'll get it out of our head. Less than that. I can't give you 10. Let's do it. Wait, wait, wait. Let's think about it for. And let's discuss thinking about it. Yes. Let's discuss thinking about it. I just want to put the thought out there. I know where you're going to go. Yeah, yeah. I just want to put the thought out there. Eddie, now if we think about it, to make an analogy, okay, this is like some strange thing happened where all the stars aligned and you're a single man. All the stars aligned and it just aligned perfectly to where Scarlett Johansson is interested in meeting you okay now you haven't met her and uh you are a meat eater and you've heard she's a vegetarian and not only is she a vegetarian she's hardcore she's good she's major vegetarian so you know stacked against you the odds are stacked against you okay you're gonna meet her do you really want to allow yourself to think about a wedding do you really want to allow yourself to imagine saying i do because if you do
And then you meet Scarlett. And she says, thanks but no thanks. Oh, the heartbreak. Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But in my mind, it's a fantasy. Better to have gone there with the fantasy than to not experience it at all. I'm not really going to marry Scarlett Johansson. It's really cool we're going to meet. Very possible. She wants to meet you. There's a slight chance of that happening. She wants to meet you in Boston. She says, let's meet in Boston. Let's meet this Sunday. If you don't have anything going on, let's meet this Sunday in Boston. I would love to. Let's meet in Foxborough, Massachusetts. What do you think? I know a place there. The odds are stacked against me that we're going to end up together and get married. Yes. But I'm going to give it a shot. You're going to think about the wedding. And I want to think about it for a second, but I'll put it out. Okay. So allow me to put this thought in your head. Here we go. Imagine the possibility of a Super Bowl with Eli Manning against Philip Rivers. The guy he was traded for. The guy who wouldn't come here versus the guy that would. Wow. It is the possibility.
possibility of that... My head just hurts. It's too... I'm out. I'm done. I can't breathe. I don't want to think about it. Can't breathe. Yeah, I can breathe. Now, the only way that plays out good for us is if we win. Because if Eli beats us, then he was right. I believe in being humble. And so this week has been a tough week. As a Charger fan, it's been a tough week, you know, with the Phillip Rivers saying things. And, you know, it even kind of bothered me during the game when I was watching the game and there was some... showboating and getting the crowd there. I wanted more class. I wanted to see more class. Act like you've been there. Don't behave like you're a punk. And I mean, a few players don't behave that way. Not just Phillip. And this thing about Sean Phillips being at the nightclub on Monday night is starting to wear me out. It's starting to wear me out.
All the stories are wearing me out. Meanwhile, in New England, it's like crickets chirping in New England. You don't hear anything from the team that hasn't lost all season long. The team that's got trophies, the team that's been there before, the team that is a 14-point favorite is classy and quiet. You're classy and quiet. The Chargers have definitely gotten a reputation this season of being talkers and guys that are, well, not being the classiest team in the league. You heard these Igor Olshansky comments, right? Igor Olshansky says something to the effect of they know what's up. He's talking about the Patriots. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, when we get there, let's just say they know what's up. Yeah, they do. They haven't lost a game. They're undefeated. Yeah, that's what's up. They're undefeated, bro. They've won three of the last however many Super Bowls, like five Super Bowls. It's a good team. You know what else they know is up? They're all pretty healthy. They don't have an injured quarterback and an injured tight end and an injured best running back in the history of the world. That's what's up. Yeah.
What are you saying? You know, this is all learning stuff. You know, stuff they're going to have to learn. It's unnecessary. No need to talk. Just do your talking on the field. You know, if you pull off the greatest upset in sports history, then talk. Then you can go, you know what, we did it. And you can do it in a good way. You have a guy on your team where every single person, every person on the Chargers should look to. And that's LaDainian Tomlinson. I mean, he's your person you look at. You look at him and you go, okay, that's who I need to be. He's the example. He is the perfect example. Yeah, that's the face. That's the Chargers. Yeah. But right now, we've got Phillip Rivers yelling at the crowd, riling him up, and all this stuff, and people flipping him off and throwing stuff at him. It's just, I don't like that. I don't want that part of my team. I agree. It's what gets him fired up. He has fun doing that. He talked about it. He's always done that. And it's just what he likes to do. And that's great, Phillip, but it's still not cool. I may want to go around punching puppies, but it may be fun for me. It may be fun for me. But you know what? It's still not right. Well, I'll tell you what, man. The whole thing, when we were watching the game against Indianapolis, I said,
It was myself, my wife, my 16-month-old son, my mom, my dad, and my mother-in-law were all over. We were watching the game. And I said, you know, the Chargers remind me of like a real talented group of teenagers. They're not mature yet. They're not grown-ups yet. They're super-duper talented. But they're just not, you know, full-grown men yet. Or maybe they're learning to walk. You can see that once that kid learns how to walk, he's a toddler right now. Once he learns how to walk and gets it down, you can see that kid's got ability. Because already as a toddler, he's able to do things I don't see other toddlers do. But they just need to mature, all of them. Yeah, and they're really starting to get a reputation around the league. Phillip Rivers is becoming one of the more hated players in the league. Sean Merriman doing the lights out dance. Teams don't like that.
And, you know, it's unfortunate. Well, cities, other cities in America don't like it. They hate it. And you see every team, whenever we play a team, the opposing team will always mock the Lights Out dance. It's guaranteed to happen. You know, and it's just, you know, I don't know, man. I don't know. Yeah. I'm not happy with it. I agree. But I hope that what can happen is, one thing's for sure, we're underdogs. A lot. We're underdogs. Huge underdogs. So take the underdog thing in there. Yeah. Get all fired up. The bottom line is, is if we beat, if we win on Sunday, I mean, I want to say it, if we win on Sunday, then it doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want. It doesn't matter. I considered getting updates on my cell phone. Not watch the game? It's something I've considered. I thought to myself, you know, I don't know that I want to, I don't know I want to go through it. No, you do. I don't know. You have to. As soon as something bad happens, I'm out.
No, you're not. If something real bad happens early. It will. It always happens. Don't say it. You're thick and through thin, bro. No, I'm out. I'm going to disembark from the bandwagon. I'm going to get off the bandwagon. What? And I'm going to walk home. That's your team, dude. Crying. Don't do that. Screaming. Pouting. Head down. Yep. Diaper on. No. Tough it up. Throw a tantrum on the way off the bandwagon. It'd be everything a bad fan can be. P1 number three is on the line. What's up, guys? What's up, dude? I've actually been thinking about this the past year. Every time Ashley gets mad, well, she normally talks regular, but every time she gets mad, she sounds like dogs are falling on her. She starts saying, like, oh, yeah, brah? Oh, yeah? That is true. That is true. Can I explain that? Can I explain that, P1 number three? Yes. Okay. Just like... Dog the bounty hunter. Ashley grew up on the wrong side of the street. She grew up in a real tough neighborhood. She's been to prison. She is hard. And she's grown up in kind of a thug life. And so, you know, when she gets real excited like that, she reverts. And if you want to know what I'm talking about, all you have to do is go to MikeyShow.com keyword idol. Take one look at that girl and you can just see. That is a hardened...
Very hardened soul. Very hardened soul. Thank you. Thank you, Mike. Thank you very much. Let's see. P1 Ryan. Hey, how's it going? What's up? Hey, I just wanted to bring up the fact that, you know, that not any team's perfect. I know we're talking about the Chargers and stuff like that, but this came out of the ESPN story about Randy Moss and, you know, hitting some girl and everything. So, I mean, I know that we're not bashing the Chargers or anything, but just the fact that, you know, there's, you know... going on with the Patriots, too. Randy Moss hit a girl? Yeah. Eddie, go ahead. There are reports that he allegedly... There's some battery allegations made by a Florida woman that he knows. And, of course, Randy's denying it. Cut 34. I didn't hit no woman. I've never laid my hands on a woman. So for you to say battery...
Now, I think if there was a such thing in the court system as an accident, then that's what I'm guilty for. Accident. For you to say I physically, in an angry manner, or whatever the manner may be, put my hands on a woman physically, I've never done that. Are people going to believe you? I think the best thing is to check my resume. Ask around. I've never hit a woman. You shouldn't check the resume, bro. That's not what I'm supposed to be doing. I've got a job to do, and that's to provide for my family and help raise my children. That's what I do. Hang on a second. I take it back. Don't check the resume. Resume ain't going to look good. In fact, burn it. Yeah, burn it. Shred that sumbitch. What did that accident comment? Well, I accidentally punched in the face 18 times. Accidentally. Take a fist and throw it at another human being. That's an accident. Well, I mean, sometimes you're throwing your fists around and it accidentally hits somebody. What? Don't mean you want to hit them. You're not trying to hit them. Okay. You know, while you're axing around, why don't you figure out that maybe she was axing for it. What? I mean, accidentally axing for it. Right. What? Because sometimes you can accidentally ax for it. You can?
And then, you know, you accidentally get punched in the face 42 times. Huh. She said anything else, is that it? Yeah, he's got more to say. Cut 35. I'm very disappointed in the timing. I'm disappointed at the timing first of myself for being able to be in this situation. But knowing someone 11 years, it's hard to avoid that because I wouldn't expect someone like that to do me like that. She said she wanted medical attention, right? She wanted medical attention if you denied her medical attention. She lives in her own house and she have her own vehicle, so how can I deny her medical attention? I mean, does that make sense? I mean, she has her own house, she has her own car, so how am I going to deny someone medical attention when you live by yourself and have your own vehicle? Granted, I taped her up. She couldn't move. But that, too, was an accident. Yeah, I accidentally duct taped her to the chair. Wow. That is not good. That just came out. Yeah. It's a brand new story? Yeah. Ay, ay, ay. What a distraction. I guess that is a distraction. A little bit. So that's big news. Everything that's going on with Randy Moss. Other big news, man. This thing in Oceanside. Let me introduce everybody. I have not done that. Let me introduce everybody real quick. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 37 years of age. Eddie is our producer. Our sports guy. He's 34. This guy does news. She's 30.
Sean is our sound effects guy, 37. Ashley, how about her? She's our assistant producer. She's 24. And television star. That's right. American Idol star. Next week we'll find out if she's going to Hollywood. Yeah. Oh. That's right. Boston Rob is our sound effects guy, Zeth's friend, and occasional parody writer. He's not interested in my input, really, on the parody songs. What? It's okay. I got this one. Oh, no, listen. It's suggestion. It's suggestion. What do you mean? What do you know? Listen, it's suggestion. I do not give orders when it comes to his creative process. Okay. Sometimes he'll come to me and he'll show me a parody song. And I say, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. What about this? Yeah. That's great, Mike. I appreciate that. Thank you very much, sir. And I say, and then you go, okay, well, I wasn't interested in it. He'll do it a different way. But, you know. That's okay. The creative process, right, Rob? Tanks, but no tanks. Yeah. Well, you've never written a parody song before, Mike. Well, what would you know about? That's right. What are you, an expert? Mike, do you, let me ask you a question. Do you know who you're talking to? Mike, my fans wouldn't stand for it. What are you, a ghost writer? Let's see. And then Zeth is 22.
He's friends with Rob. Tall kid. He's got tattoos all over. But he's real sensitive, you know, and sweet. Awkward. Yeah. He looks hard. But he's a sensitive cat. Nice guy. Much nicer than the tattoos would lead you to believe. P1 Jeff is on the line. Let's see. Jeff, are you there? Hey, what's going on? What's up, man? I just want to say something about the Giants-Chargers game, if it were to happen. Okay. All right, well, I think, you know, you guys were talking about if it was the right decision and whatnot. I do because, you know, looking back at the Cowboys game, Marion Barber's no Tomlinson, but Marion Barber was killing that defense. I mean, in the first time, he ran for over 100 yards by himself, you know. Wait, wait, wait. Dude, you lost me. What are you? Where are you going? What's your point? I'm totally missing the point here. I was just saying that, you know, if Phillip were to play against Eli, you know how they got traded against each other. Right. I think... the Chargers would come out on top because they have Tom and Sam looking at how the Giants played against the Cowboys. Not really the point. They're too hot. But what does that have to do with the two quarterbacks? It's nothing. Okay. He's thinking it's about San Diego against New York, which it isn't. It's more Phillip versus Eli. Right, definitely, definitely. That would be the story is those two dudes. Yeah, nobody cares if we're playing the Giants. It's the fact that we're playing Eli Manning. Eli Manning. Yeah, it might as well be the Phillip Chargers.
And the Eli Giants. I'm sorry? We did shut down Peyton, though. I mean, we did pretty good against shutting down Peyton. That is true. Again, missing point. We're talking about... We'll see the... Yeah, never mind. You ever do that where you're about to and then you go, well, what am I doing that for? Why am I doing that? Yeah, it's not going to work. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. So, yeah, this... In Oceanside, there's this daycare center. And the owner got arrested yesterday. This story is crazy. Crazy. Skye, what happened? Okay, so daycare center, Oceanside. Well, okay, let's take that out of the equation. Let's start with 9 o'clock in the morning. A 3-year-old girl is found wandering around an elementary school in Oceanside. The people at the elementary school are like... 3 years old.
Who is this girl? Where did she come from? Who's her guardian? What's going on? 9 o'clock in the morning this happens. So obviously the elementary school, being good people, takes the girl in and is trying to find who's in charge of this girl. They call the police. Hey, we found this girl. She's here. She's safe. We don't know who she is or who she belongs to. Fast forward to 5.30 at night. Daycare center in Oceanside calls the police. says a three-year-old girl in our care went missing about 10 minutes ago. Turns out, same girl. So, you know, the police obviously piece it all together, get the girl back to her mother, and like Mikey said, have arrested the owner of the daycare center on suspicion of child endangerment. There's a San Diego Police Department, Sergeant, cut 74. We're not sure if the sick... It was just a story that she's giving us because the fact that she told us the child was only missing for 10 minutes when, in fact, she was gone for the entire day gives us a question as to how much of her story is believable at this time. And what he's referring to is basically the daycare owner's defense is that she was sick that day. And this daycare center is in her home, so she stayed away from the children because she was sick. She didn't want to get the kids sick and let her assistant.
watch the kids all day and then when she came out of her room at the end of the day that's when she noticed the child was missing so she doesn't feel like she should be held responsible because she actually wasn't the one in charge of watching the children that day it was her assistant that's not good you're still responsible lady it doesn't matter what the deal is yeah that is not good at all scary yeah uh okay Well, let's do this. Let me tell you what's on the show today, and then let's start this sucker up. Here's what we got. A little tone-deaf karaoke on the show today. Oh, from American Idol? That's from our American Idol star. Wow. Who, by the way, you can see at MikeyShow.com keyword idol. You can see a screenshot of her on American Idol. It's going to be on next Monday. It brings it to a whole other level. It does. If you are going through any sort of crisis where you feel like you need advice, Don't worry, this morning we'll be doing Tough Love with Eddie. Oh, okay. That's good. That's good news. Very good news. Opposite. What else we got for you? I believe Sean TV will be on the air today. Oh, hello. Have you guys heard about man-gagement rings? And whoever finds those tickets is a person going to the game. Get your speedo. Back to the show. It is 6.42. The mayor is encouraging all San Diegans to wear charger gear or colors tomorrow. The Atlanta woman withdraws the complaint against the Pac-Man Jones. I'm not sure what I think of that thing about the mayor. What do you mean? Encouraging everybody to wear the Charger colors. Why? There's something about it that's a little like kind of cheese ball to me. I don't know why. I don't know why. Maybe I haven't grown into that yet. Maybe that's like my 50s. Like in my 50s, that's really cute. At 37, I'm like, it's still a little bit of an eye roll. Like not completely an eye roll. You don't think it's neat that he's trying to...
pull the city together and get everyone to support the team no okay no i i wish i did i want that i want that's what i want i want to be the guy that hears that the mayor was encouraging us to wear charge of colors on friday and goes oh that's neat i'm not there yet i have not matured i'm not mature enough as a man so will you do it Oh, no, no, because I'm telling you. So you won't wear charger gear tomorrow? Oh, yeah, but I'm going to anyway because we're doing our big charger thing. So it has nothing to do with the rest of the... If we weren't doing our charger thing, I would wear what I wear. But, you know, we're going to be on television tomorrow, and we're doing a whole thing for the charger, so it makes sense. But the concept of a mayor saying that we should all do that, you know what it reminds me of a little bit is, you know, like at everybody's office. You have the fun committee. Everyone's office has the fun committee where they are the people that organize, you know, fun. They organize the fun and they send out the emails to you, you know, telling you what fun thing you're going to do on Friday and how, you know, how you should dress appropriately. You know, the ones you delete immediately. You know, and that may be a maturity thing.
That that may be something that in your 50s, that is fun. I think that there's a part of me still at 37 that feels like I'm just too cool for school. And I don't participate in these just because it's still there. But when I'm in my 50s, well, I've dropped all my pretension and I'm ready to be old. I'm ready to be, in effect, that guy. Ashley will be on American Idol Monday night. Excuse me, Tuesday. Why? Why am I saying Monday? Someone make a mistake. American Idol Tuesday night. Ashley will be on it. If you want to see the screenshot of her from American Idol on TV last night, go to MikeyShow.com and type in keyword idol. And tomorrow, we're going to be giving someone, either a guy or a girl, tickets to go see the Chargers play the Patriots in New England. Tomorrow. The news will be here, and you should be here, too, to watch it. What we're going to do is we're going to have a guy and a girl. The guy will be in a Speedo and goggles. The girl will be in a bikini and goggles. And they're going to jump into a big, giant vat of clam chowder. And they're going to have to fish out tickets to the game. Oh, my God. That's so great. It's great. And it's going to be cold, you know, the clam chowder. Probably cold outside.
So can you imagine how cold that clam chowder will get? Because they're going to have to prepare it way ahead of time, the promotions department. So imagine the temperature of the clam chowder once it's been outdoors for a while. Take on the air temperature. It'll be cold when you jump into it. I mean, imagine how chilly it is when you jump into a swimming pool that's 60 degrees. Well, what if it's 45 degrees outside tomorrow? You got 45 degree clam chowder is what you got. That will be pretty gnarly. P1 Anonymous is on the line. Anonymous, what did you want to say? I was just commenting on, excuse my voice, but I wanted to comment on the daycare in Oceanside. Yeah, sure. Two of my children have been going there for a little over three years now. And I spoke to Oceanside Police Department a few times to give a statement and for them to give me information.
After watching the news and listening to the radio over the last 24 hours, what the media is reporting is bits and pieces of information, and yes, she should have been more responsible, but there's more to this story, and the public should know. The daycare owner, she informed all the parents last week that she was ill and that she had a new assistant, and for us to get to know her so she knew who we were, what cars we drove, what we looked like, et cetera. The daycare center also has transportation that takes school-age children to numerous schools in Vista Oceanside area. What does that have to do with the story, though? She'll get to it, yeah. Say it again. Say it again. Say that part again, just because you said we're going to get to it. They offer transportation to schools. They offer their own transportation. Some children take the local bus. Other children that are younger... Okay.
She was totally beside herself. She didn't know how long the child had been missing. She assumed it was only 10 minutes because her assistant said that she had just saw the child, and she was going off what her assistant said. And after speaking to the officer last night, that's basically what they're trying to get to. They're just trying to piece this story together so the parents have resolution as to where their child was for an hour and a half in the morning. get the information that I know and have been going there for three years. I think it was just a fluke accident, and my children will be attending that same daycare next week. Eddie has a question. Well, I saw the news last night. I saw this report, and I also saw that this daycare provider has a MySpace page where she talks about having, you know, her occupation as daycare provider and also says something about being a sex provider or something about sex. No, she has. She's a consultant for passion parties, and I've had one. My girlfriends have had one. And it's just most of us are the daycare moms, and we all get together, and we get a sitter, and we go to each other's house, and we have a passion party, and we laugh and have a good time without our children for an hour, and it's not raunchy, and it's not disgusting, and we're all there having a very good time. It's not like she's, you know...
It's just totally, the information is just misconstrued. And it just kind of angers me because she's become someone that I've trusted because my children have attended there for three years. And I just feel like once the whole story gets out and the pieces are all put together, they're not probably giving away all the information because they're not sure. Well, everything you just said, I didn't know. I didn't know that this was like somebody getting dropped off somewhere. And I can see, I mean, that makes sense to me. Like if they're taking kids. And dropping them off at schools. And this is a, what do you call it? An assistant. And she kind of, she messes up. I mean, it's tough because you go, all you guys must know each other. All you moms must know this daycare owner. Yeah, daycare owner. You guys are all friends. And so, you know, you have to be one. Yeah. Yeah. No longer works there. No. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. I know. I know. I know. Time out, Anonymous. I'm on your side. If you like, let's say, Sky, that your neighbor across the street is a daycare lady. Right. And or not even your neighbor. Let's say that you go into the phone book, find a daycare and.
You take your kid there. You decide, hey, this is the daycare for me. You leave your kid, right? And you get to know the owner, and you guys become very friendly. You do parties together. You get together socially. You're now friends, right? Of course, yeah. You have developed a level of trust with this person, and you know that they've cared for your kid really well. Well, if the lady gets sick and says, hey, I'm going to have an assistant helping me, you know the assistant's brand new. At that point, it's kind of up to you. Well, boy, do I feel do I trust the assistant? You know, she's sick. I know she's upstairs. How do I feel about that? If it were Rebecca and I and we were friends with someone, I can tell you what we'd probably do is trust her and her judgment with this assistant. And we'd be thinking everything's cool. The last thing that we'd be thinking is that the assistant is a knucklehead and isn't on top of it and is going to. make a pretty big error and it sounds like the assistant the new assistant is kind of a knucklehead and made a pretty big error yeah but the bottom line to me is it's her business yeah yeah yeah and so she's ultimately responsible for these children and she will be and so if she loses her daycare license because of this i don't have a problem with that yeah um now what do you think about that anonymous i mean uh because eddie's right i mean if and even if it were a friend of ours i would go
If she lost her daycare license over it, I would say, man, that is a shame that that knucklehead ultimately got my buddy's license taken away. No doubt about it. But see, I believe that your friend that runs the daycare probably didn't want to leave you guys, didn't want to say to a bunch of parents, I'm sick, you can't come here and leave you guys looking for daycare. I got an assistant, the assistant's new, blah, blah, blah. I don't see the woman that owns the place, right now at least, as somebody that sounds like a knucklehead herself. She's been your daycare lady for three years, and it's been really good. Sounds like somebody that's on the up and up. But she hired somebody that's a knucklehead, and she has to suffer the consequences. And if I'm the mom of the child that was lost, I don't care if you're a friend, or I don't care about what the deal is. I'm angry, and I'm upset, and I want... something to happen. And Anonymous, would that have changed your view of this situation if that was your child, if your child was three years old and left wandering around in an elementary school? I'm not talking like I'm sitting on the fence here. I'm looking at it from both points of view because I have three children, and if that was my four-year-old daughter, because I have a four-year-old daughter, I would be beside myself, and I would be totally ticked off. But you would be ticked off at the assistant, right?
Yes, once the story came together, like once you know the side that I've known just from speaking to her and the Oceanside Police Department, you know, you're kind of getting the full picture. And at first when I was at her home on Tuesday evening when she discovered the child was missing, you know, okay, well, it's only been 10 minutes. That's what we thought. So, well, maybe the child just got outside, you know. And the reason that you thought it was only 10 minutes is because the knucklehead assistant said that, right? She had said, yeah, because these children have only, that was their fourth day attending that daycare. So you've got personnel change. You've got all these. I've got to get you to focus, Anonymous, because you're kind of going off about, you know, the assistant was new. The assistant made a mistake. The assistant wasn't up to standards. You know, my question, if I was in the same situation and this happened with Jake, who I'd be mad at would be the assistant. And what a knucklehead you are. And how could you make this mistake? I wouldn't be upset at my buddy, who is the owner of the place, because she told me what was up. My friend was open and said, hey, listen, I got this assistant. If somebody says that, now in retrospect, it's easy to look back on it and go, oh, well, how could you this and how could you that? At the time when she said, I got an assistant, I'm sick, we all know.
We go through life and we hear things like this in our life all the time and they work out fine. And so when it's your friend telling it to you, you probably go, okay, cool. And then when something terrible happens, then you go, oh, no. And you kind of look at, well, what happened? Who screwed up? Sounds like the assistant screwed up. I'm not upset at my daycare provider. I'm not upset at my friend because she's both for me. I'm upset that this... new assistant is going to... I mean, she's going to lose everything. She has a home. She has four children of her own. She has a mortgage to pay. I mean, this is a really terrible thing over just a flu... P1 Anonymous. P1 Anonymous. I got to ask you. Because, you know, as a parent, I'm sitting here, I'm wondering to myself, what the assistant did was so negligent. Okay? Would you agree with that? Yes. Okay. What the assistant did... The mistake the assistant made was so negligent and could have resulted in something really terrible. Something really terrible, okay? So my question is, how did that sort of assistant end up there? How, you know, how? How? No, I don't know. And Eddie's right. Unfortunately, Eddie's right. Like, if you look at it just from a, like...
If you look at it from a by the books kind of way, the state of California, they got rules and regulations for a reason. And I'm sure the state of California is going to say, I understand this is a nice woman. I understand that this is a woman who has three years of a flawless record. But she hired an assistant who let a child be unaccounted for. And the child ended up by herself. This three-year-old kid ended up by herself at an elementary school. And as the state of California, we owe the citizens of California more protection than that. And I get that. I get the whole picture. But what I just wanted to say is the media is just not giving out the big picture. That is true. That is true. And making this daycare center look like this child got to this school three miles away somehow.
Parents are sitting at home wondering, well, who brought that child there? No, you're right. If you're just tuning in and you missed it, this is P1 Anonymous. She doesn't want to say her name, and I understand. And she did add a ton to this story. And those are things that aren't being reported. Like, I read this story from multiple sources this morning and didn't read anything about this. The way that we read it in the news and the way it's being reported on the news is like a three-year-old wandered out of a daycare. and wandered to an elementary school. That's not the way that it went down. According to P1 Anonymous, who says that her kids go to the daycare, she says that the daycare provides transportation for the kids to their respective elementary schools and stuff like that. Somehow there was a mistake. Now, that's another thing that's a little weird. If they're providing transportation to elementary school, How does a three-year-old look like they're in elementary school? Yeah, that was my thought, too. How did she make that mistake? Well, she's almost four, actually, and I've actually met that little girl, and she's just about the same size as my little girl, who will actually be attending kindergarten in six months. So, you know, when they're about that age, they look, you know, four or five, and if you're new, you might just think this child attends the same school, you know, as these children that are going to kindergarten.
I just think it was an accident. No, it was an accident. And it's a tragic situation. I feel terrible for the mother of the child. All right. Thank you, P1 Anonymous. I appreciate the phone call. You're welcome. I understand. So the kid mistakenly gets mistaken for an elementary school kid. They put it on the bus. The kid goes to the elementary school. Nobody there to meet the kid. Kid's wandering around. Eddie's right, though. Ultimately, somebody's got to be responsible. If I'm the parent. And I'm in the same situation as this lady that just called. I'm so upset at that assistant. I'm saying to that assistant, how did you do this? And from what I gathered on the news report last night, the mother of this child isn't like close friends with the daycare provider. So, of course, she's upset. She doesn't know this person personally. She chose them as her daycare provider. She expected a certain level of security and service. She didn't get that, so she's angry. And I think that this P1 Anonymous has something to be... There is something to be said for this. It's not like the mother didn't know that an assistant was going to be watching her kid. What she did assume was that the assistant was up to the job. Right.
That the assistant was, well, she trusted that the daycare owner used proper judgment in hiring an assistant. Right. And it's turning out, maybe she didn't. And we heard from a woman right now that is friends with the owner, and the owner is flipping out. I mean, yeah, she's flipping out. She may lose her business. She may lose her business. Wow. The whole thing is sad. Yeah. Thank goodness a kid's okay. Yeah. Thank goodness. All right, people calling in and have questions or comments. This is P1 Quate, man. Hey, Mikey, how you doing? What's up? I had a question. I was thinking about it. Is she saying that the assistant dropped a kid off at an elementary school, but they dropped several kids off at different schools? Well, how does she take it upon herself to figure that that kid went to that particular school? I mean, wouldn't they have some sort of way to, like, regulate and say, this kid goes here, this kid goes there? So, I mean, that's kind of more than just a...
I don't think anybody's questioning that the assistant is made a real boneheaded... Yeah, messed up on multiple levels. Yeah, I don't think anybody's... It just seems like that lady was calling, and I mean, yeah, okay, it seems like a viable excuse or a reason, but it just seems more like the lady was calling in and trying to throw in some sort of smokescreen or cover for her friend to try to take the attention more off of the phone. It all basically boils down to the owner of the business. She's the owner, and she's the one that makes the responsible decision of hiring somebody to fill her place when she's sick or unable to do it. She should be just as competent at the job as she is. I agree. All I would add to it is that the one thing that the lady called and said was a bunch of stuff we didn't know. Yeah. You know, we didn't know half that story. Yeah. She's kind of right in that. If the lady's for real. I don't know that lady that just called in is for real. If the lady that called in is for real, then she said she's been taking her kids there for three years and it's been great. For this new assistant to make such a catastrophic mistake or could have been a catastrophic mistake, I really do agree with you, Mikey. That's on the assistant. If I was the parent, I would be really upset with the assistant. Ultimately, it's on the owner. I think that if it were me, I'd be angry at the...
Even if you didn't know and didn't have a relationship with the daycare provider? No. In that situation, I would be mad at the daycare provider. That's what I think the situation is with the mom. Sure. Yeah, I bet. I don't blame her. I'm saying that when I was talking to this lady, I'm dealing with this lady as this lady that called in. And in that situation, if it were me, that's why I painted it that way. If I knew them, if I had a relationship with. Sure. If I didn't. If I had just gone to this daycare and I just found him, don't know the woman, just started putting my kid in there, and the lady came to me, whom I've just kind of met, and says, hey, listen, I'm sick. I've got an assistant working. At that point, I'm making the decision of, well, do I trust the assistant? And if I decide that I do trust the assistant, I know me. The reason I would have decided that is because I would have thought that owner lady is smart enough to hire good people. And this was clearly not the right people working. Phone lines blowing up. 570-1053 is the number. What do you think? If the lady that just called in right now was telling us the truth, and I believe she was, then there's a lot to the story that we just didn't know. More coming up next. Okay, I'll tell you what. The Mikey Show will be right back. Good evening, sir.

Back to Mikey. I shaved. Mexican. Bald head. Eddie. When I don't eat, I become a different person. Sky. Yes, I'm not the only liberal person in the world. Sean. I routinely obsess about the cleanliness of my windshield. Boston Rob. I have this when I'm merging from the 805 to the 8. Afraid that it'll collide. Ashley. Hygiene is very... Very, very important to me. The Mikey show's on. Something supernatural is going on. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It's 717. The Church of Scientology has issued a cease and desist order to websites over the Tom Cruise video. What happened? What happened, Sky? I didn't think my... Something's weird with my ears. I have, like, some head congestion, and so I didn't think my microphone was on. Oh. Yeah. Trust us, it is. The wall. Wow. Okay. The Aztec. Wow. The Aztecs beat Utah last night in overtime, 64-56. What a big win for the Aztecs. Congratulations, everyone. Go Aztecs. Oh, those Aztecs are so fun. People are calling in about this daycare story that came out yesterday out of Oceanside. There was a three-year-old kid turned up at an elementary school, didn't know where the kid was from or anything, and it turned out that the kid was from this daycare in Oceanside.
And we just got P1 Anonymous call up and say, hey, what they're not telling you on the news is that that daycare, my kid goes that daycare and they take your kid to school and they made a mistake and this three-year-old got on the bus and went to this elementary school. Now, I just want to make my position on the story very clear. Ultimately, I agree with Eddie that that woman that owns that place is going to have to be responsible for it. I'm telling you that it would have been, and what I think about that is I think it's sad because I think that the lady probably had the best intentions. She messed up hiring a knucklehead, and the knucklehead let the kid on the bus when they shouldn't have. There's an assistant, apparently a new assistant that let the kids on the bus. But you've got to be responsible. Somebody's got to be responsible for it. P1 Crunchy Biscuits on the line. Good. Hey, what's going on, Mikey? Not too much, man.
Hey, my wife runs a daycare, and whenever they take kids out, they have to know what school, what kid goes to what school, because all schools start at different times. So the owner should have trained this girl on what kids go to what school. This way they know who's supposed to get on that bus. It all falls back on the owner, because the owner should have trained her the right way on how to take the kids to school. Well, maybe she did. And maybe she did, and the lady screwed up. Well, yeah, because it sounds like this lady was, like Mikey said, a knucklehead, because the assistant... told the daycare owner that she had just seen this girl 10 minutes prior when the girl had already been missing for eight hours. So if this assistant can't even recognize the kids she's taking care of, how do we think she can follow some sort of schedule or instruction or whatever? I mean, it's not like this assistant has like 50 kids. I think it was a total of like eight kids in the daycare. So if she can't even recognize the kids... Yeah, and well, maybe... Maybe, the other deal is, maybe it's one school that they go to and that's it. We don't know that it's like multiple schools that could be that they're all going to one school. We don't know. Anyway, listen, I'm not trying to pile on. I say we blame Zeth. Yeah, you know, somebody on line six says we should. Yes. What? P1 Gunslinger, are you there? Hey, hello. Sorry I had you on speaker. Sorry.
Yeah, it's kind of the same thing when Ashley messes up. She blames Seth for it. Wait a second. That's not what I was going to say. Ultimately, Ashley is responsible, but it's Seth that messed it up. You know what I mean? All the time. That's right. Look at the traffic this last segment. Whose fault was that? It was actually the traffic guy's fault. He got distracted. So you want to get him on so you can yell at him? There you go. Way to throw him under the bus. Wow, you must feel stupid now because you're wrong. How embarrassing for you then, Slinger. Slinger, whatever the hell your name is. Wow. Gosh. Stupid. Ashley is out of control. Get Rick on. Oh, no. Well, I'm just saying. It's not my fault. Blog about it. Oh, I will. I was just going to say that. I was just going to say, man, I wish I could get more of Ashley's thoughts on this. I don't. That's why we just added a blog segment to MikeyShow.com. Yes. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. If you go to MikeyShow.com right now and you type in keyword blogs, we all have blogs now. Every day we're blogging. You can read the blogs of every one of us every day if you want to.
I want to know what strange things Ashley's got going on. Let's see what Ashley blogged about. Me? Yeah, I want to see what you blogged about. Oh, yesterday? Yeah. Ashley says blog. Wow, that was fun. Even just typing that. Nice. I've always wanted to do this. Well, I don't really have much to say except that it ticks me off that chick called in today after Cheaters Hotel calling me a jerk. When quite frankly... I was giving my opinion based on my experience. Oh, no. Am I not entitled to that? Jeez. Okay, so that's my venting for today. You want the full story on that? Check out the podcast on MikeyShow.com. So that's just a sample of a blog. Look at the end, how she spells aura. Let me see. Let me see. You may want to spell check that. Keeps my aura in check. O-R-A. Spell it. A-U-R-A. That's okay, Ash. Excuse me. Let's look at Sky's blog. Let's look at Sky's blog. Sky's first blog. Oh, no. Says, this is my first blog ever, so I'm a little nervous. I don't really know what to blog about. So I guess I will tell you about my plans for the rest of the day. Today, I will be painting my master bathroom. Awesome. In parentheses, the boo and I.
Have chosen the color pita bread in a semi-gloss, of course. If you don't understand why a semi-gloss, I don't want to know you. Pita, as we call it, is a nice neutral color. You always want to stick with neutral colors just in case you ever have to sell your home. Oh, my God. How many times was that? I am happy that the weather is nice today. It will help the paint dry faster, and I can open all the windows so I don't get a headache. That's called Kaiser. I'll let you know how it went tomorrow. Peace. And the picture on her blog is the picture of her and Roman over. Duh. Awesome. I love it. So that is blogging. We could read a blog tomorrow. I know you'll like them. I love them. Sean's blog is a video of an 80s thing, a picture of a guy. Sean, did you really write this stuff, or is this from some sort of robot that adds this automatically? This is really Sean's words.
It's a robot, isn't it? Is it a robot? Is it a robot that links to a page that is somebody else's blog? Every day I want to know your real thoughts, Sean. I want to know what happens in the mind of Sean. It's going to be one of my favorite ones. He's a strange guy. He's a strange guy. Oh my god, that's awesome. Eddie's blog. I love the picture of Eddie. It's a picture of Eddie as a Sith Lord. Thank you. With his face photoshopped into the Sith Lords. Where is it? Or is it? Or is that actually Eddie? And Eddie, what do you talk about in your first blog? Lots of stuff. Mainly, I talk about the 1994 AFC Championship game between the Steelers and the Chargers and how nobody thought the Chargers had a chance. But guess what? They won that game. So a lot of stuff about this upcoming game against the Patriots. Talk about Cloverfield a little bit. I love it. Awesome.
Every person on the show, even including Zeth, is going to have a blog. So if you want to read these, go to MikeyShow.com. Can you mumble in a blog? I know it. Is that possible? I can try. A lot of dot, dot, dots. I'm sure you will. So just go to MikeyShow.com and type in the keyword blogs. Ashley and American Idol. Yeah, dude. If you watched American Idol last night, at the very end of the show, they ran a promo with Ashley on it. She tried out for American Idol. She was like the main joke in the promo. That's right. Or person, I mean. I mean person. Picture of her on the website, too, on American Idol. We got a screenshot of her on American Idol. It's MikeyShow.com keyword idol. And this was the promo. Cut 79. Find out who snags a golden ticket in the Golden State. It's audition time in San Diego. You ever hear of a guy named William Hung?
Okay, so Randy asked that question. You ever hear of a guy, William Hong? And the screen goes to a shot of Ashley just blinking. With that... That's so great. That's so great. Now, tomorrow morning, man. Tomorrow morning is going to be a very historic and momentous for the Mikey Show. Because tomorrow morning, we are doing one of the biggest contests we've ever done, ever. We're giving away tickets to the Chargers-Patriots AFC Championship game. In New England, airfare for two. Two-night stay at the Boston Copley Marriott. A bus to and from the game. Tickets to the game. A party Saturday night with Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer. I mean, it doesn't get bigger than this. This is as big a prize as it gets. Tons of dough. This stuff costs tons of dough. So, do you want to win?
All you have to do is be here by 7 o'clock tomorrow morning. We're going to make it fair. We're going to make the contest available for one man and one woman. The only deal is that you've got to be wearing, if you're a guy, a Speedo, and if you're a girl, a bikini and goggles. And what you're going to do is you're going to jump into a giant vat of clam chowder. Cannonball! Hidden in the clam chowder are the tickets. First person to find the tickets wins. Wow. It's going to be huge. And you have to provide your own Speedo and or bikini. We're not providing that for you. So if you don't come down prepared with those things, then you unfortunately can't participate. That's true. So you've got to wear it, man. You don't have to wear it down here, but you're going to have to change in your car if you don't. Yeah. Just wear it under some sweats or something. My advice would be to bring a robe. Because then after you get out of the thing, you could put that on.
Hey, Ashley, give me Boston Rob's new parody song, the fart song from yesterday, too. To the Right in Light Blue? To the Right, to the Right. Are the other two he's made. To the Right, to the Right. He's really been on a roll this week. That's right. This was the new song from Boston Rob that we premiered yesterday. I was walking around, passing gas, silent blast, and one was loud, turning heads, barking. Rocket spiders fled, now I am red when I should be proud. Cause I made you from Chinese food. Should check my own insides. Did something a thousand times. That's definitely a beautiful song. Oh, there's more. Why? Hold in that two-cheek squeak. Then I'm gone. Seems so wrong. But it's not. Cause it's hard to breathe. It's kind of just talking to me.
It's not like he's singing. Well, coming up next, we're going to premiere a brand new Boston Rob song. Holy moly. So we had a new one yesterday. We got a brand new one again next. It's Who Stole My Churro? I don't. And it's to the tune of There Goes My Hero by Foo Fighters. Oh, well, that will be wonderful. We will do that next. Mikey on the rock. I went to sleep train so that I could have a reference to compare used mattresses on Craigslist. I took my three-year-old in there, which is typically a bad idea because she doesn't have the ability to self-calm herself yet. I digress. But my point is that they made it so easy to figure out which mattress I wanted that I ended up buying one at Sleep Train. I really wanted the Beautyrest World Class Paris Plush, but it was out of my budget, which is why I felt I needed to buy a used one. The sales associate knocked off. $1,213. And offered to deliver it today. We got this email. B-Rob, when did we get this? A couple days ago? Yeah. Two days ago? Two days ago. That's awesome. Yeah, man. My wife, who is one month pregnant with our second child, will be pleasantly surprised tonight when she sleeps on our new Paris plush. She really deserves a good mattress to sleep on, and I can't wait to sleep on it with her. Signed, P1.
You want that to be your story? Sleep trains are everywhere. Check one out today. In case you missed it, this is a Mikey moment. A couple of dozen people in Texas have reported seeing a UFO in Stephenville, Texas. Again? Yeah, you know, one person says he saw a flat metal object hovering about 300 feet over his pastor. And, you know, of course. Over his pastor. So his pastor is standing out there. They're doing church. They're having church. And they're 300 feet. The field. The field. Over. The field. Over this holy man. What a UFO. He said pastor. Pastor. So over this particular pastor. So the pastor. Did he abduct the pastor? The field. The field. The field. Pastor Johnson. You know what I mean. So I said to the pastor, amen. The Mikey show continues. Rock 105.3. 736. A Los Angeles psychologist has filed a complaint with the state over Dr. Phil's dealings with Britney Spears. Last day is tomorrow. Welcome back to the show. Can we do a time check? Yeah. Who's chopper is this? Sin's dead, baby. So we played you the new song from B-Rob from yesterday, the farting song, and he's back. Wow. Already. He's cranking out the hits. He is. He's already got another one lined up for us. This is the churro song. That's so weird.
Boston Rob, you want to set it up and tell us what inspired you? I really think it speaks for itself, but okay. I love churros. Don't steal them from me. All right, there you go. I love churros. Don't steal them from me. Oh, okay. All right. Kind of speaks for itself. And the churro lover, what do you want? I would shout out of doubt. Somebody stealing anything from me is kind of scary. They're hard to obtain. That was really dumb. Oh, wow. That was really stupid. Pot calling the kettle black. With all due respect. Yeah, yeah, no, no, no. This is what I'm talking about. My assistant's able to give the tough love now. And now it's my turn. It's called honesty, right, Ashley? Absolutely. It's what we're about here on the Mikey Show. That's right, and this segment is all about Eddie giving honest advice. I'm not as rough as Ashley is.
But I try to help. Well, it's pretty hard to get to that level of roughness, but it's not easy. You've got to grow up in the hood. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Be on a number one TV show in the country. If you would like for Eddie to answer your questions, just go to MikeyShow.com. I mean, I was on Renegade, but it's nowhere near. Oh, you were, Eddie. That's true. It's nowhere near America. There are many TV appearances. Yeah, many. I mean, let's be honest. And you and I are like the same. Right. That's why I'm your assistant. Yeah, it's cool. Well, let's get to it. Let's get to it. All right, let's do this. Our first letter reads, Dear Eddie, I appreciate you taking the time to read my email this afternoon. I have recently moved to San Diego from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I was attending the University of Michigan. I am currently working on my master's degree in philosophy at the University of California at San Diego. I recently met a fellow student whom appears to share similar interests.
After a brief period of interaction, I asked her if she would be interested in taking in a movie, and she respectfully declined, to my point. Have you, in your travels, found it beneficial to not date colleagues? Travels? That email is signed, Jonathan L. Parsons. What's his name? Jonathan L. Parsons. Gotcha. Right. Eddie? Dear dork chops, I think I've found your problem. You're a nerd. Greetings. Bro, if you talk like this to girls at UCSD, they're going to mace you, blow their rape whistle, and call the cops. This is unfortunate, but guys like you don't get...
chicks. They actually get 10 to 15 with a shot at parole. The women, they like the charm. They like the funny. That's what they like. You sound like you're making bombs to put in the mail. Was this a letter for advice or your thesis? Drink a beer, bro. Actually, drink a few beers. Go out today. buy a case of old Milwaukee, and then call the girl back when you get cardboard deep at about six tonight. And unbutton that top button, okay? It looks dumb. How do you know that he has that thing? Trust me, this ain't my first nerd dance, all right? I know these guys. All button-up and horny. Pant-up, goofy.
Balls with white shirts. You gotta live a little. What this guy needs is some cameo. Give me some cameo, man. What up? This one's going out to Jonathan L. Parsons. This is weird. I think this is a tough love for us. Eddie's doing the zombie dance from Thriller. I don't know. I don't know. I hope that helped. That's a cool moment. Good advice, too. I don't even understand the advice. So I hope that helped him. This next letter reads, Hi, Eddie. I was a high school... He says, I was a high school nerd. There seems to be a pattern. The theme. I weighed about 350 and played the tuba.
Don't laugh at that. I'm not, dude. Hey, that's not sensitive at all. What the hell's the matter with you? For a second I thought, did I black out and write this? You never played the tuba. I weighed about 3.50 and played the tuba in the marching band and of course everyone teased me. Well, now that I'm out of school, I've lost the weight, but not the tuba. I love the instrument and still play in an orchestra. My problem is with the ladies. I may look better. but still feel like the dork in high school. Tuba players don't get the chicks. What can I do to make the ladies see beyond the tuba? Signed at P1 Challenging from Temecula. Kiss my brass. I'm really shocked that tuba players don't get the girls. I would have assumed that tuba players have groupies just like anybody else.
Everybody knows that you guys are the sex machines of the band. I mean, really. Gotta get me some of that tuba player, Nancy. She's so hot. Although the oboe guy is looking pretty sweet, too. It's good you dropped the weight. Now you need some confidence. Chicks dig guys that got a little swagger. Now if we can just convince Zeth that, maybe he'll finally kiss a girl. Seriously. Great point, Eddie. It's true. It is true. Or a guy. I don't want to limit his options. It doesn't matter anything. I don't want to limit him. That's right. That's good advice. Eddie's waving at Seth. What happened? Listen, here's the deal. Next time you have a concert, here's what you do. You grab that tuba and you walk right in front of the stage. You start playing that tuba and pointing at a girl in the audience and really works the tuba. Show her that you can handle her like you handle your tuba. Maybe stick your tongue out and waggle it like Gene Simmons. Girls like that. If that doesn't work, there's always mail-order chicks from the Philippines. Good luck, tuba boy. Godspeed. I handle a situation I've run into at work.
See, I carry what most people call a man purse. What is up with these letters today? I call it a man's handbag. Oh, no. They're the best. That's better. They're the best. It really changed my life. I know you would like it, Mikey. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I don't have a man bag. Yes, you do. You kind of do. It has your name embroidered on it. It's a laptop bag and Eddie gave it to me as a gift as his best man. It's cool, dude. You got a pocketbook. Whatever. Oh, that's not right. Well, anyway. It says I don't have a laptop or anything like that in it. Oh, my God. I just carry my stuff. I swear to you, I didn't add it. You can read it. Says, I just carry my stuff.
I don't even need a wallet anymore. My pockets are never full of junk. They really are the best. But the guys at work always call me out and make fun of my... Merce. This is a Capriati Italian leather man's bag. Not a purse. Oh no. Oh, God. Stay with me. Hang in there, buddy. Oracle, what would you do to keep these guys off my back? Signed, P1 Man. This is not going to be good. I haven't said anything yet. I know you. This is not going to be good. Sorry, Eddie. Jeez. Dear Tom Brady. What? Yes! I've seen those cowboy pictures of you. Yes! Cool dude. Come out of the closet. Listen. This has got to be... The gayest thing I have ever heard in my life. I mean, what's next? Man heels? A man tampon? I mean, some stuff are just for the ladies, my friend. If someone walked in here with a murse... I have one. I have one. You would make fun of him forever. Only what you want. The bottom line is Clay Aiken thinks you're gay.
Listen, I know I'm being hard on you. And your mascara is probably running right now. But take it easy. First thing you need to do is untuck. I think you know what I mean. I don't need to say nothing. Next, burn that stupid Italian leather queer case. No more, dude. No more. I mean, you may need to open some Merlot. Pop in that Gilmore Girls DVD you have because this is going to be traumatic for you. But after it's done, we'll let you back into the boys club until you show up in your Miata with your Hillary 08 bumper sticker. Then you're out again. See, I can't think of a word that rhymes with bag. Let me think about that for a little while. Sky, can you hear it coming up Hillcrest Boulevard? It's the sound of healing.

And I'll send you home in a brand new 08 Dodge loaded and give you 7,000 cash. Now, that's one fat cashback you're laying on the table. We gotta go back for a second. Again, trade that old car. Did you know that a just-completed survey of AIS clients shows an average savings of $850 per year? Now, of course, prices vary depending on your needs, so it really pays to shop around, which is what AIS does for you. In fact, 92% of AIS clients renew year after year, which goes to show just how much money they're saving. Remember, AIS wants you as a customer for life. Hey, it's Mikey. Call AIS at 1-800-777-4AIS. Again, that's 1-800-777-4AIS. 24 years of age. I'm Spike. I can smell real good. Good enough. It's a Mikey show. 759. The FDA has issued a public health advisory that over-the-counter cold medicines are too risky for kids under two years old. Patriots' Randy Moss denies a woman's assault claim. Listen to this and tell me what you think of this. Hey, Mikey, I must have missed the whole Ashley trying out for American Idol thing last summer.
Because I was busy with moving and preparing to audition for Idol. She says in all caps. She says the crappy thing is that I can actually sing. I sat in the scorching hot sun all day with everyone else. And just like thousands of others who came out with some talent, I was turned away in favor of people like our lovely Miss Ash. Who provides spectacle for the show. It just sucks that I didn't get a chance to sing in front of Randy, Simon, and Paula just to find out what they would say. And Ashley, who we all know has no chance, if it's in all caps, of really being on Idol, did. Just needed to vent. Signed P1 Christy. What do you really think? Now, Christy, now hang on. Don't read into it, Ashley. That's right, Ashley. Don't analyze it. Just take it for what it is. Take it for what it is. I said I had no talent. What P1 Christie is failing to realize is that, well, a couple things here. A, American Idol is about the spectacles, too, you know. It's not about just the people that can sing. We all know that. We watch the show. Yeah, this audition process is all about the goofballs, too. Absolutely. But the other thing that you're not realizing, Christie, is that you think you can sing. Yeah.
You think you can sing. You're saying in this email, you think that you can sing, that you're a good singer. Please call. Sing. You think you're a good singer, but you've got to realize, most of the people on American Idol, except for the real goofballs, most people think that they can sing. And so, because you were turned away, there's no guarantee when you show up there that day that you're going to be in front of Simon. and paula and randy there's no guarantee in fact there's producers there that are hearing people sing and if you're not up to snuff you're not going to make it they want two people they want people that can sing and people that are a spectacle okay so christy you're obviously not a spectacle so that means that the only other way you're going to get on the show is if you're a good singer a great singer yeah yeah sky thank you forget good singer right There's a ton of good singers. You're going to get on the show if you're a spectacle or if you're a great singer. Christy, maybe you are a good singer, but you're not a great singer. Because if you were, you'd be going to Hollywood. That's the way it usually goes. The other thing they're looking for, all they're looking for is good TV. Ashley made it on the show because she's young, she's attractive.
And she offered something. A beautiful voice. And she offered something. Let us be the joke. A unique voice. A unique voice. She's young, she's attractive, and she offered something the producers felt America would like to see. Forget good singer, bad singer. Ashley's young, attractive, and provided something that the producers of the show thought America would like to see. That wasn't you, Christy. Sorry. You did not qualify as what America wants to see. That's not Ashley's fault. That's not the producers of American Idol's fault. It's Christie's fault. Why is he mad at me? Well, wait a minute. It's not even really Christie's fault. No. You're either born with being a great singer or you're not. Yeah. It's just the way it is, and you can be a really good singer, but if you don't have a good backstory, like your mom's not terminally ill, or you didn't lose a limb, you know, that... It's not easy. It's not easy. I know it isn't. That's right. It's always been a dream of mine to sing, and I don't... Everyone should deserve to go after their dreams. That's true. I don't understand why she can, and I can't, and that hurts my feelings. Besides the fact is that you've got to understand, like, Ashley...
Her being a good singer, that's up to people. You've got to hear it and decide for yourself. I know what you're doing. I'm not helping my case right now. Which one should I play, Ash? I don't know which ones are up there that are my tone. What's your tone? That's it. That's your tone. What's wrong with that person? That's not your tone, though. That's not your tone. I'll tell you what. Let's find Ashley's tone. Oh, yes! I swear, I'm not joking. When I hear her singing, I'd rather lose an arm. Tone-Deaf karaoke is on.
It all began with Tone Deaf Karaoke, and it ended up on a nationally telecast show that is number one in the country. And that's it, Mike. Started out as Tone Deaf Karaoke. Now you're going to see Ashley on American Idol next Tuesday. Wow. In fact, she was so good, they used her in their promos. That's crazy. 5701053, if you would like to guess what our very own singing star is singing. We're going to play you a clip of her singing. You have to tell us what is that she's singing. If you can do that, you want a prize. What's the prize today, Eddie? We got Prison Break Season 2 on DVD. Very nice. Well, for people that get it right. Or the news girl. Well, no. Yeah, for listeners, for sure, Sky. Definitely for listeners. Can I call it? You cannot. You will not get it anyway. Oh, well, it's 50-50. P1 Chelsea. Hi. Are you ready to play? Ready. I'm going to play the whole clip, wait for the whole clip to play, and then tell me a title or artist. You got it? Here we go. Can you give me a title or artist on that one, Chelsea, to win? Yeah, no. Okay. Not my tone. Not her tone. That makes it harder sometimes. Was it The Witch from Princess Bride?
It sounded like it. P1 Jordan, are you there? P1 Jordan, I need you to listen to the entire clip again before you give me an answer, okay? Here we go. American Idol. Shut up. Stop it. This is not my tone. Can you give me a title or artist on that one, P1 Jordan? You know who it was? Idea. Sky, what was it? Shot Through the Heart, Bon Jovi. You got it. You can't love a bad name. Well, I got the Bon Jovi part, so I get the DVD. No. Eddie, percentage of Americans that believe that that song is called Shot Through the Heart? Probably a pretty good percentage. I'd say 46%. I was going to say 72%. Whoa! Sean, what do you think? I'd say like...
I don't know, 40. I guess we're all wrong. 98% of Americans believe that that song is called Shot to the Heart. You know what? I Hate Brady is on the line. How are you, man? Good. I'm going to play this clip for you. When it's all done, give me a title or artist to win. You ready? Yep. Here we go. Last night I had the strangest dream. I said to be the trainer in a little boat to danger. And you said you had to get your laundry clean. I didn't want no one to help you. What does that mean? Are you sad? Are you kidding me with that? Wow. That is my tone. That is my tone. Yeah. That was a golden ticket. P1 I Hate Brady, title or artist? I'm lost. That was Matthew Wilder, Break My Stride. Love this song. Great song. Thank you, Sean. See, this is my tone. It is your tone.
Get it? Yeah. Thank you. P1 Charlie. Yeah. And he's doing the Ashley look on the promo last night at the end of American Idol, which, by the way, if you want to see the picture of Ashley auditioning in front of Simon, Paula, and Randy. Go to MikeyShow.com and type in keyword idol. You'll see a picture of our Ashley. Let's see. P1 Charlie? Yeah. You ready to play? Yes, I am. All right, dude. Here's your song. You hear all that clicking? It's not going. No, it's not playing. That's great. But I was doing well. Did you see me after school? I think of all the education that I missed. But then my homework is never quite like that. Hey. Eddie was holding up the horns of the goat on that one. Little rock fingers. Do you want Charlie? Can you give me a title or artist? Oh, I'm sorry, guys. Oh. What's going on today? These are easy. That was hot for teacher, bro. One, Kevin. You ready to do this? Oh, for sure. All right, bro. Here we go.
I'll see your motives inside. What? Back off. I'll take you on. Yeah, you got it right at the end there. Right at the end there, you can figure out what that was. A little pitchy in the beginning, but I got it. Got it. P1, Kevin, can you give me a title or artist? Um, uh, uh, Rage? No. It was not Rage Gets Machine. Recent guess, but no. It was Trapped Headstrong. Oh, same way. Very different. Very, very different. I just put my own spin on it. People do that sometimes. There it is. Oh, wow. We have one winner. We didn't have one winner. It's not easy. It's not easy. It isn't. Sometimes it's really hard, Hillary. On American Idol. Hey, did you guys know the day that Eddie proposed to his wife, his now wife,
The day he proposed to her, he proposed on the Empire State Building, okay? Well, Rebecca and I, we were all on this trip. Me, Eddie, Rebecca, Deborah. We were all on this trip together, and Eddie's going to propose on the top of the Empire State Building. We went to see a show, got out of the show, went over to the Empire State Building for him to go up there. We're going to go up on the observation deck. His then-girlfriend, Deborah, doesn't have a clue what's coming next. Well, it almost didn't happen because there was cops. Everywhere. There was news stations everywhere at the Empire State Building. We started asking people, hey, what's going on? They said, why? You guys want to go up there? We said, yeah. They said, good luck. It's going to be tough getting up there tonight. I said, why? I said, a guy tried to jump off the Empire State Building today. We said, like what? Like committing suicide? They said, no, he was a base jumper. One of these parachute guys was trying to jump off. Well, that guy that was trying to jump off that day is in the news today. He's all over the Today Show.

And the wind is whipping up still pretty good in some parts of the county. So just be careful with that. Right now, a wind advisory in effect through the mountains and deserts. And I eat from Alpine to the Imperial County. So use extra caution if you're driving a high-profile vehicle.
through the deserts and mountains on I-8 this morning. Right now, if you're coming in from the East County, you've got plenty of traffic to deal with here on the Westbound 94. A bad injury crash here blocking the slow lane near 30th Street. Has you slow and go from Federal Boulevard to the 30th Street exit, and you're being advised to block that whole stricter freeway. The Westbound 8 getting quite tough as well here as you come into the East County. Spring Street is where it slows down from there. It's off and on pretty much all the way to Mission Center Road in Mission Valley. Both the 5 and the 8.05 northbound still having brake lights out of Chula Vista up to National City on both these freeways. 8.05 has got a minor delay through North Park, but once you come out of Mission Valley, right around Murray Ridge, that's solid with slow traffic all the way up to Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. South 15 improving out of Escondido, just a minor delay on your Via Ranch Hill Parkway. A few brake lights go through Rancho Bernardo into Poway. And we're providing the goggles? That's right. We're going to provide the goggles. All the guys got to do is show up in a Speedo. All the girls got to do is show up in a bikini. This is real nice. And not a burkini.
Yeah, Sky. Sky wears a burkini. I do not. It's a burka, you know. There's no such thing. It's a burka, but it's... It's a sensitive skin. You made that up. Very sensitive. We even had a picture of it on the website for a while. It's Sky in her burkini. Yeah. So this guy's name, this guy that was trying to jump off the Empire State Building the day that Eddie was going to propose to his fiancée when we were in New York City, this guy's name is Jeb Corliss. And on April 27, 2006, the guy strapped a camera onto a helmet, stuck it on, climbed over the partition that they have. It's a safety gate at the top of the Empire State Building's observation deck so that people can't do what he tried to do. And he tried to jump off the Empire State Building. And this morning he's on the Today Show. Carlos has now filed a $30 million lawsuit against the Empire State Building, claiming that the guards who stopped him nearly cost him his life. Mark J. Heller is his attorney. Guys, good morning to both of you. Good morning. We'll get to the Empire State Building in a second, but just take me through. I mean, you've been doing this for a long time. What are some of the most bizarre places or things you've jumped off of? Well, I've jumped off the Eiffel Tower in France, and I've jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge. I've jumped off of De
Patronus Towers in Malaysia. I was actually hired by the Malaysian government to come in and jump for their New Year celebration. And we actually jumped and landed in the middle of a crowd of 300,000 people. Is there more than a thrill involved in this? Do you do it for any other reason than the sheer thrill of it? I don't do it for the thrill of it. What do you do it for? When I was a small child, I always dreamt of flying. And I always had people tell me that that's impossible. People can't fly. And when I got older, I realized that they were wrong. You can fly. Let's go to April of 2006. You can't fly, bro. No, you can't. You can fall real good. Yeah, you fall great, as a matter of fact. You're really good at it. If you fall, you have a parachute. You try to fly, you're going to die, bro. If you can fly, let's take the parachute off. Thank you. If you come to New York, you're going to jump off the Empire State Building. You put a lot of time, thought, and effort into this jump. Actually, no, Matt. I put no time, no thought, and no effort into it. I was just going to jump. What kinds of things did you prepare? Sandwich, I had a bag of chips, a pickle. A Capri Sun. Yeah, a Capri Sun. A flashlight. A flashlight. A kind of old Harper. I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. Actually, years preparing for this jump and learning about the wind conditions and the way the area works and studying the building and where you could actually jump the building. He looks just like Gus Hansen. Yeah, he does. The poker player.
And then I also studied traffic patterns to make sure that, you know, when the lights turned red, how long they turned red. I watched at different times for everything. So you enter the building like thousands of people enter that building every day. I paid for a ticket. Right. You head up to the observation deck. Let's be honest, though. You didn't look like you do right now. You disguised yourself. Yes. What did you put on? I basically had a prosthetic mask. which made me look older and larger because I was coming in as a fat person. Because you had to conceal your parachute. Exactly. I had to conceal my parachute in my stomach. And you had a helmet. And I had a helmet. With a camera and all that stuff. You get up to the observation deck, and we're watching footage right now. You immediately head for what's called the suicide fence to get over that fence so you can get to a ledge where you can actually perform your jump. Yes. And clearly you had to know the guards weren't going to take kindly to this. Well, last time it was jumped. So they show him. Jump up, jump up, grab a hold of the top of the fence, which has these barbs that turn inward so that you can't do what he's trying to do. And somehow he manages to get past those and jump over to the other side of the fence. And his feet are resting on the ledge. And through the protective gate, the guards are reaching through and holding on to the fabric of his clothing so that he cannot jump.
and he's screaming at them to let go so that he can do what he wants to do. They're not letting him. The person got to the exact same place I got to, and the guards reached through and grabbed onto him. And he said, what you're doing right now can make me fall. And then they let him go. So these guards, as we're seeing right now, they get to the suicide fence. They're on one side, you're on the other. And they do something that I don't know whether you're prepared for or not, but they actually handcuffed you to that fence, both arms, both wrists, and an ankle. Yeah. Okay, you say at that moment your life was in danger. Oh no, my life was in danger the moment they touched me. Why? If my parachute had deployed while they had their hands on me, I would have been yanked off the edge of the building and I would have impacted the ledge about four floors down. which most likely would have killed him. So it's your contention that the minute you get over that suicide fence, they need to let you go. No one can touch you when you're standing on a four-inch ledge with a parachute on your back. If they reach through and grab onto you, the consequences are absolutely... I mean, it's beyond... And when they took the extra... Well, there's one way that the consequences aren't that way. Get them, Matt. Yeah, there's one way the consequences aren't that way.
of handcuffing both of your wrists and your ankle. Now if your parachute opens and catches the wind, what happens? Matt, I'm telling you what. Bad things. I'm Gumby. My wrist might hurt. Lots of bruising, Matt. No, that's not what he's claiming. Yeah, he's claiming he'd die. He's claiming that, I don't know if he's going to say it or not, but if the parachute opens and the wind catches it. that his limbs would be torn from his body, that his torso would go, but since he's handcuffed, his limbs would stay and his torso would go. Oh, wow. And I told them, when they finally handcuffed me to the bars, I said, right now, what you're doing... If my parachute opens, my arms will be severed and I will die. Let me play devil's advocate right now. If I'm a security guard and I'm hired to protect this building and stop people from doing what you're about to do, I'm going to grab onto you. I'm not a parachute expert. Yeah, but he's not hired to stop me from doing what I do. What's he hired to do? He's hired to keep people from...
getting over the bars in the first place. If they had got me before I got over the bars, okay, more power too, you did your job. But once I got over the suicide bars, their right to grab onto me ended. You're saying you didn't break any laws. Mark, is that correct? There is no law in the book in New York State that prevents someone, a base jumper, from jumping off a building like the Empire State Building? There are no legislative enactments precluding people from jumping off of any landmarks in New York. And in fact, the district attorney's office tried to manipulate the reckless endangerment statute. That's what you were charged with, reckless endangerment. That's a felony. Where's the dude going to land? Well, did you hear him talking about, oh, and he studied the red lights and he knows how long a light is going to be red and how much time he has down below? Let me tell you something. If dude landed on one of your loved ones, a mistake, give me a break. You can't do that. To employ that statute to preclude such conduct. And in fact, when a judge of the government, that that was not an awful conduct. Because Jeff had done all of his homework and planning and preparation. Because he wasn't reckless. Correct, Matt. They called it a depraved indifference to human life, which I do not have. Can I just say, you know. That's great. That's whack. So you think he should get the 30 mil, right? No, I. 30 mil? 10 mil. 10 mil. I'm real.
The Empire State Building. $30 million because they stopped them. Or tried to. Try to. 5701053. Call about anything you want. I don't really have a plan. I wish I had more to do today. I've got news. Oh, I want that. I want line three. Eva? Eva, you there? Yeah. Says Eva wants to talk about something that her boyfriend said to her last night. It's something crazy. Yeah, well. Last night, me and my boyfriend were just talking. And then out the blue, he was like, you know, babe, I would support you if you got a boob job. And I'm like, what? Like, we weren't even talking about it. I've never talked about getting a boob job. I've never complained about it. And he said he would support it. What a good man. Maybe don't wear a bra next time. What a prince.
That's very kind of him. Very nice of him, yes. You've got a great husband. Yeah, did you start crying and say, thank you, honey? No, I was just like, what? Wow. What are you talking about? He was like, no, you know, I just wanted to let you know I would support it, if you ever. Like, he tried to cover it up after he found out. Were you watching something on TV that was... No, no. Just out of the blue he says that? Bad timing, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, it would make sense if... Like, what do you guys think? Like, would you say something like that? Like, what do you think? No, no. Of course not. No. I'm smart. Yes, exactly. I value my life. I do not want giant stripper breasts. If you were watching, like, Discovery Health Channel and there was something on TV about boob jobs... Sure. Or if she was complaining, saying, you know, she's not happy with her chest or whatever, then you're going to be, oh, you know, hey, if you want to get a boob job, I support you. I support it.
But just out of the blue, hey, by the way. I just want to let you know, you ever want to get those things bigger, and I mean bigger. You ever want to pump those babies. You ever want to pump those suckers up to an H or a G cup? I just want you to know I support you. Bill, thumbs up for me. That's right. You want to make those actually look good? Oh, Sean. Yeah, my husband said stuff like that multiple times. Wait, what? Sky, what does he say? I can't remember the exact wording, but it's just stuff like that. Like, he's basically letting it be known that if I ever think that I need bigger breasts, he is all for it. No, wait, wait. I want to know, though, how would he, like, how does that, I want to know what it sounds like. What does he say? Try to please think of what he said when he says that. Like, how would it come out of his mouth? What does he say? Hey, babe. Let's start with hey, babe.
I can't picture the exact wording, but I mean, he's probably said it, I don't know, maybe like at least five times since we've been together. If he said it five times, you've got to remember. It's always different, and then he kind of tries to pretend like he's joking. But Skye, you have big breasts. Yeah. Not big enough. Yeah, I mean, I'm a full C cup. You need to approach them to be bigger, though. But why? Because he's a pervo. So does he go like this? He's not a pervo. He wants me to have stripper breasts. Does he go like this? I mean, I love the guy to death, but he loves himself some breasts. How dare he? Does he say this? Does he go, hey, babe, if you ever want to get a boob job, it's cool with me. Like, will he say those words? No, it's like, you know, like, he's kind of trying to make it funny, but he's not joking at all. Example, example. I don't know, dude. It's like, I'm not, like, taking notes when he says that. I know you're not, but you can't... I'm immediately reacting. Go ahead, Ashley. Was it maybe during a time when you said something like...
about your breasts like you were like oh gosh I wish they were bigger or man they were getting smaller yeah there was one time when I was like working out and I lost like 20 pounds and you know I did say that and he came back with that but then there's times where it just comes out of nowhere when we're watching like Discovery Health or you know when Jennifer Love Hewitt comes on the television screen and he'll say hey there's Jennifer Love Hewitt hey if you ever want to get a boob job it's cool Yeah, I'll be like, like he'll like talk about how hot she is. I'll be like, man, you love her. And he'll be like, well, yeah, you know, if you ever want your breasts to look like that, I got your back or, you know. Yeah. I know he's trying to be fine. Have a good time. Right. You know. Eva, so what did you say to your boyfriend? I was just like dumbfounded. I was just like, I can't believe he went there. Like, I can't believe he went there. How long have you guys been together? We've been together for three years. Oh, okay. You know, that means... It does, because to me, if I was dating a guy for like a month and he pulled that out, I'd be like, this guy's a jerk. He's only into me for my appearance. But if you're with somebody for three years, I'd be like, whatever. What it means is that for three years, he hasn't liked your breasts. No, it doesn't mean that. No, what it means is he loves them.
just the way they are. That's why he said that. He's just supportive. Yeah. Supporting you. Wait a minute. Doesn't it prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, in a court of law, in a court of law, doesn't it prove that he does not like her breath? You're reading too much into it. No, it does not. I think you probably want D-cups. But what he said was... Please get a boob job. No, he did not. Men, well, in my opinion, men enjoy... He said I'm begging you to get a boob job. No. In my opinion, men enjoy all kinds of breasts, but at the same time, they have this, like, porno storybook image in their head of what a perfect pair of breasts could be. Don't speak for all men. I said in my opinion. When he says to this girl, when he says to this girl, I support it, he means... I want you to get a boob job. Don't you think it's kind of like this? It's like you got a sundae in front of you and you're like, hey, like mint chip, nice. You know, hot fudge, that's delicious. But hey, if you're going to put a little whipped cream cherry nuts on there, I'm not going to stop you. Yeah, except that. I still like it the way it is. The only problem I have with your banana split analogy is, is that in the banana split world, the mint chocolate chips are not like...
what we've been taught to believe is awesomeness. And in our society, what we've been taught to believe is awesomeness is big boobs. And so, when he says to her, I support it, he's saying to her, he wants it. So you're talking Jamocha Almond Fudge. Jamocha Almond Fudge is a perfect analogy. I disagree. Perfect. I'm going with the mint chips, Skye. Mint chip is good. Thank you. On a sundae? Oh. Mint chip ice cream? What's wrong with you? Not on a sundae. Not on a sundae? Bro. Yuck. We're on the line right now. We're on the line with Eva. Eva, how does it feel to have a boyfriend who hates your breasts? Why? Stop saying that. He don't like him. He obviously likes him. He's been with her for three years. He's been with her for three years. He just puts a little whipped cream on it. He says I support a boob job. What he means is I want a boob job. I want a boob job. Go get one. What? It's terrible. I think it's terrible. I never thought about getting a boo job before. He thought about it. He's thought about it for you. Yeah, for three years. He's thinking about it right now. Stop it. That is not true, Eva. Eva, he's thought about it for three years. Is it in your head now, Eva? I mean... Of course. Do you guys think a B cup is small? I don't think an A cup is a problem. I think a natural woman is way more... A natural woman is a natural woman.
Never change yourself for anyone, as long as you're happy. I'll say yes, but I mean, hey, to each their own. It's to each their own, Mike. He likes them a certain way. Sean likes them a certain way. Because it's not small? What? It doesn't matter. It's whatever. It doesn't matter whatever your breasts are. It's up to the lady. It's up to the lady. So you guys like big breasts? You know what? Honestly, I'm going to tell you my opinion, Eva. I don't care. I don't care. If a person looks proportionate, if a person looks like – I'll tell you what I – it's easier for me to tell you what I don't like rather than what I like. I don't like a woman with breasts that are the equivalent of a guy walking into a room with a cucumber in his pants where you go, I think that guy has a cucumber in his pants. And you're like, hey, guy, nice cucumber. Yeah. Just like I don't like it when you see a girl that's had a boob job and you go, oh boy, nice boob job. Right. Because then it looks phony. It doesn't look real. You're going to need a bigger post. I have an affinity towards reality. I like realism. If something is phony to me, I've got an issue with it. But your boyfriend, he wants you to get a boob job. Right. Otherwise, you wouldn't say he supports it.
That's what he's saying. Do you think I should talk to him about it tonight? Definitely. Just go do it. No. Just tell him. I mean, if he pays for it. I get like a $100 one. Oh, stop it. Don't change yourself unless... Because your mom took you there for braces, Mikey. Don't discount a $300 boob job. Tijuana. Rosarito. Way to go. Tijuana Costco. In and out. In and out. It's great. At Ensenada right now. They got a deal. Buy one, get the other one free. That's right. $50. I'm sorry, Eva. Let's take some phone calls. Listen off the air because people are calling in, Eva. Okay. Good luck. P1 Lindsey, what do you think? Hey, I think that relationships are built on honesty. And for him to actually come out and say, hey, you know what? Maybe getting a boob job might not be such a bad thing. I think it's great that he's honest like that and says it. You know, out in the open. That's like being honest. That's like being honest about a bad character flaw. That's like tough love with Eddie. Well, no. It's huge. That was just a shot at Eddie. It would be like saying this. Tough love it is. Tough love. It would be like saying to somebody, I don't like your nose. I support a nose job. That's because it's honest. Or like, I hate everything about you. Like, I support a change.
That's right. In everything that you are. A change. That's not. Lindsay. Yes. Just because somebody's being honest doesn't make it okay. Thank you. I truly believe in honest relationships. And if somebody has something to say, hey, you know what, Lynn? Your boobs just need, you need to get something done with those boobs. You don't need to. No, that's Lindsay. Lindsay is fine how Lindsay is. Lindsay doesn't need a boob job. Maybe he wants. Lindsay to have a boob job. But Lindsay don't need nothing. Lindsay, you don't need nothing. I've never seen you. You can be hideous. I don't know. Why? I don't know. I've never seen her. Probably. But you know what I mean? However you are is fine, Lindsay. You don't need a guy telling you what he wants. Otherwise, where does it stop? After you get the boob job, he goes, you know what? Hey, now you got the boob job. It looks good and everything. That butt can get lifted a little bit. Yeah, then he might start talking about butt implants. Yeah, what's a butt implant? You can flex your butt and get it firm. With the boob job, you can't make your boobs get bigger and let's make you gain weight. What about a nose then? You get the boob job for him and then he goes, you know, that honker. You know, that beak you got. But see, I don't even think he was saying that. I think he just said, hey, you know, sweetie, if you ever want to maybe do that, I support you. Maybe they never talked about it.
P1 Jamie. Jamie. Yeah, you're on the air. Yeah, I just, I wish my husband would say that. Why? Just because, I mean, I've been wanting one for so long and I'm like super small. Like A, like could be double A. Wait, wait, wait. You're saying that because you want, what if he said something about your nose? You know what? I did have my nose done. Should have spent the money on the boobs. Well, I understand. I understand that you got the nose done, but I don't understand why you're saying it would be good or it would make you happy if he said that something about you is not up to his standards. Why would that make you happy? I mean, that's true. That's right. I'm glad that he's happy with what he has. He has no complaints. He's like... don't do it. He would never want me to do it because he's afraid that it's not going to feel natural. He's just going to think they're fake the whole time he looks at them. He's just not good with that because he knows it's like something in there. With my nose, he knows I've always hated it. They never added anything to my nose. They just took off my natural nose. There's nothing fake under my nose. I would love to have a nose job. I'm not the happiest with my nose. It's certainly not the worst feature, but I would love to get a nose job.
I would love to get a nose job. But if my wife said to me, you know, Mike, if you ever wanted to get a nose job, I'd support it. Holy Toledo. Nose jobs and boob jobs are different, though. Because nose job is like you're born with it. Oh, really? Not with your boobs. With your boobs, you're not born with them. They were given to you. But with the boob thing, it's only a female thing. And it's a big phenomenon with the pop culture and the media that it's a... Big boobs are hot. You know, a lot of guys maybe don't even prefer a big boob. But Ashley, you're not born with them. I know. Yeah, they go away. You're not born with them. You're born. I mean, you see what I'm saying? Like, you're born with what you got. Just like your nose. As a woman, you're born with those boobs. You're born with that nose. Some guy says he wants you to change. It means, you know, I'm not too stoked on him. Kind of flabby. Not flabby. No one said flabby. No, we were all thinking it. Oh. Kind of floppy. P1 Mandy, what's up? Oh, I was just wondering, with Ava, is the reason why her boyfriend's asking it maybe because her boyfriend had a previous girlfriend who did that? Ouch. Oh, don't read into it. Ouch. Here we go. Oh. Maybe his expectations are high because of that. Never even thought of that. You're overanalyzing it. Oh, I never even thought of that. Uh-oh. You better stop. I bet it's an ex-girlfriend. Oh, no. He says, hey.
You know, uh... She was jamoka almond food. That's right. I think you'll probably want D-Cups. P1 Lazardi. P1 Lazardi. P1 Lazardi. P1 Lazardi. Oh, no. P1 Lazardi. Well said. P1 Lazardi. P1 Lazardi. He's in a loop, guys. Help him. What would you do if you were with a girl and you... loved her i mean you're absolutely in love with her it's just this one little thing if it could be better it'd be great what would you do would you say something it depends like if she brought it up then i may work my manipulation skills but i would never bring it up on my own not out of the blue sitting on the couch i support it church of scientology

Well, my husband and I went back last May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector, so it was really cool. And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Curti Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on a Costco mattress.
My sleep team was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something, so they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? Awesome. Blue and gold paint. Yeah. Light him up. We get paintballs too, Eddie? They're working on everything. And eggs. Throw eggs at him. It's basically just a humiliation thing. I told J.R. Promotions Director what we wanted to do and he goes, I like where you're thinking. I like where you guys are coming from.
He loves it. Jay, our promotion director, he lives for hurting people on the radio. He really loves it. Like when we said to him, what can you do to make something to torture Rob that would be really good audio and be funny? And he was sitting there on the couch and he thought about it. He turned his head to the side and he was thinking about it. He had his eyes closed and he goes, what if I made a device that would slap his testicles? And we said, yeah, that's good. Sure. That sounds great. And that thing, Rob, how bad was that? It was this platform that we made Rob stand. Rob had to stand on this platform that Jay made, spread his legs open, and stand over. It was like a mousetrap. It's a lady maker. Yeah. Okay. Imagine a mousetrap that's ready to spring forward, right? The bar's ready to spring. Only it was an arm. Instead of a bar, it was an arm that had a leather strap at the end of it. And Rob had to answer trivia questions. And every time he got one wrong, we pulled on it and the arm came flying up and it would hit him in the testicles. That was really painful for Rob. But man, it was a good radio. It's going to be good. So tomorrow we're giving away airfare for two, two nights stay at the Boston Copley Marriott. We'll give you a ride to and from the stadium.

Why don't we try out a little of this? Sean likes watching his TV. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Whatever Sean likes, well you know that it might be. Not as gay as something. Watch by Mikey when he's watching. You know he's standing up. This is Sean TV. Sean, you ready? Sean TV is where we have Sean come on and tell us about a new TV show that he's watching on television. And he watches everything. And it's always stuff we don't watch. Not true. I watch it. Ashley's about the only other person that I know that watches some of the stuff that he watches. Yeah, she watches a few. I think V-Rob watched a couple that I talked about. I have never known a TV show that he watches. We've been doing Sean TV for a while. I've never known one show that he watches. You're really out of the loop, Mikey. I am.
Well, I have one that is especially for you this week, Michael. Special education. All right. What is it, Sean? The show is called Parking Wars. Oh, what is that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What channel? It's on A&E. It's on Tuesday nights. And it's all about the parking authority in the city of Philadelphia. These are the people that go around and give you parking tickets. They tow your vehicle. They put a boot on your vehicle. They impound your vehicle. They made a whole show out of that? Yeah, they made a whole show out of it. But the reason why I think you would like it is because it's one of those sort of day in the life of documentaries. Yeah. So there isn't like any staging or anything like that. They just follow these people around. If you've ever had your car towed or impounded or you've gotten a ticket as you're just running up to the meter to meet it. Yep. That happened to me once. Go ahead. You know that it can be very frustrating. It is. And people get really frustrated on this show. Yep. The first clip I have is of a woman who, her car was impounded. She was trying to get it out of the impound lot. And they messed up on a ticket that she went to court on and ended up having to pay over $500 to get her car out. But then some more stuff happened. Her and her husband got upset. You're not a cop.
Number one, so you can't worry about when my registration's due. I just gave you $560. I just want my car. I mean, this has become ridiculous. So I have a registration until the end of July. I mean, it doesn't say that it's good until the end of July. I have the new one at home. Okay, well then, show it to us. What are you telling me? I can't get my car until I show you that? I mean, you're not even a cop. It's not your decision. It's not your decision. Sure it is. Absolutely it is. No, it's not. Yes, it is. But you need to have registration insurance and a valid driver's license for us to release the vehicle. Okay, and I have registration insurance and a valid driver's license. All right. Well, then show me your current registration card. Go home and get it, please. Go home and get it. I'm not kidding. Go home and get the damn paper. So she sends a husband home? He goes home to get the paper, and when he comes back, he brought the wrong paper. No! It didn't show the actual start and stop date for the registration. And by that time, it was like 7, 8 o'clock at night. Oh, no. Oh, wow. That's hysterical. But another really interesting part of the job is when, you know, they call them meter maids, I guess, but they're not really that anymore. And they go around and they ticket people's cars. This particular guy pulls up to a meter and the meter's broken. Well, the guy who is giving tickets assures him.
You're not going to get a ticket. The meter's broken. I'm making a note of it. Don't worry about it. If you do get a ticket, it's no big deal. It's easy to clear up. Well, the guy ended up getting a ticket, and the dude was still walking around. And here's the guy. Here's what happened when he went back up to him. Just like, you know, I don't know if it was you. You said they wouldn't get me a ticket. Then the lady comes by and says to call a certain number. They said to call another number. I've been on hold for 20 freaking minutes. This is bulls**t. No, this is bull****. It is, yeah. It's ridiculous. You just want to wear me down, so I pay the goddamn $28. I told you. This is bull****. I told you you might receive a ticket. Yeah, and then you gave me a number, and then the lady there gave me a friggin' number. I'm already doing my job. You're doing your job. All you idiots, just do your job. You want to wear us down. I'm getting screwed because I'm the consumer. I already told you what you got to do. I love when people blow their jobs. Sean loves that stuff, too. I can see why he loves that job.
So, it's Parking War. It's on A&E Tuesday nights. I'll see you there. Never heard of that in my life. Of course not. All right, coming up next, I promise you, I'm playing you the new Tom Cruise crazy audio from that video that they're throwing cease and desist everywhere saying, you better take this off. Any internet site that has this right now, the Church of Scientology is going after them legally saying, take it down. It's the video Tom Cruise does not want you to see, and we've got audio of it next. And if they cease and desist us, I'm going to keep playing it because it's hilarious. Next. What's going on, man? I gave him a shot, called him. I had insurance, and I actually called him. I'm crazy because I beat him by $300 every six months. Whoa. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Because, I mean, as you know, it was probably cheaper back there. It saved me $300, and, yeah, I wanted to personally thank you. Dude, I think that's awesome. Did you go down and fill out your paperwork and all that yet? I did. I went out to the Escondido location. Very nice. They hooked it up, dude, and they told me to tell you what's up and all that good stuff. Was it easy? It was way easier. It took me, like, two minutes on the phone driving down the freeway. You said $300 every six months, so $600 a year. Yeah, and it went down $400 a year. Dude, that's awesome.
It's pretty crazy. I appreciate it. Thank you very much. Congrats, bro. All right. Take it easy. We'll see you. There's Steve. Steve or Steven? I don't remember. You said Steven? Listen. Call AIS right now. 1-800-777-4AIS. 1-800-777-4247. That guy's story could be yours. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, things are looking a lot better in our freeways right now, though. We do have a new injury crash here that's blocking lanes here on the northbound 15 ramp to westbound 52. Medics are on the scene. That's going to cause the visit of a slowdown around that. South 15, not too bad out of Escondido. Just a minor delay in Rancho Bernardo right now. At Coaster Ride, South Pond 5, bunching up real tight around La Costa. But once you get past that... You're pretty much back up to speed here. If you're traveling west on the 52, watch for an earlier crash still clearing near Convoy Street. And then a few more brake lights just past the 805 out towards Genesee. And north 805, that's a little bit of a tough one out of Kearney Mesa from the 163 to Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. That really moved me. Yes. K.O.C. San Diego. Featuring the creative genius of Boston Rob. Boston Rob is 25 years old. He's engaged to be married. He is a dirt bag.
And he's written a new song about passing gas. Because I made you from Chinese food. Should check my insides. I say a 75-year-old man thinks that's funny. Absolutely. Is there a title to that song? Yeah. What is it, Rob? Fighting. You guys hear Travis Barker suing Monster Energy Drinks because they used his picture and they weren't supposed to? Really? Rockstar Energy Drinks. What did I say? Monster. All right. Is that even an energy drink? Yeah. For a second I was like, did I just mention the place that finds you a job online? Yeah, rock star energy drink. So you can't do that. You can't use a person's image if they don't give you permission. That's a real bad no-no. I hope he wins. How much does he want? They're not saying unspecified amounts. Welcome back. It's 9-15.
The owner of an Oceanside daycare center has been arrested after a three-year-old at the center went missing and it wasn't noticed for over eight hours. Toxicology results show former Padre Jim Leyritz's blood alcohol levels were nearly twice the legal limit the day he was involved in a fatal crash in December. Cruz won something called the IAS Freedom Medal of Valor. Sounds great. Yeah. Jealous. And so he gave an acceptance speech. Well, there was this video that came out and we were playing the audio of it the other day and it was on the Internet. Well, they've yanked it from YouTube and they're yanking it from all these different places. It was never supposed to be seen by the public. And it's Tom Cruise talking about Scientology and his people are flipping out. He's flipping out. Nobody should see it, right? Well, they say that after he accepted the IAS Freedom Medal of Valor Award, he encouraged the crowd to...
cleaned this place up, and then he saluted a giant painting of L. Ron Hubbard. Whoa. Cut 32. These are the times now, people. Okay? These are the times we will all remember. Were you there? What did you do? I think you know that I am there for you. Do care so very, very, very much. So what do you say? Are you going to clean this place up? Yes! Because we're counting on you. Now, I don't know anything about Scientology, so I don't know what it means to clean this place up. If you're a Scientologist, you can say, I was there. For what? I was there for what? I don't know. The takeover? Yeah. The revolution? The revolution? Maybe they're talking about cleaning the auditorium they used. Maybe. Could be. Haven't seen it. I liked it. He said, to L.R.H. Yeah. That's great. To L.R.H. That's when he gave the salute.
Tell our H. Ron Hubbard. Now, do you think this is interesting? He has got to take the Scientology into account with the films, doesn't he? Don't you take the... Like, seriously, with my Christianity, I take it into account with everything I do. Oh, for sure. So I wonder if you go... I wonder if there's like a reasoning behind the movie choices or anything. Probably. Yeah, I'm sure. Like, if he feels that it's an advancement of the thing, I don't know. Well, you know, War of the World. The space aliens and stuff. Cut 31. Oh, I'm going hard. Those guys are going to end their reign. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop, stop. We've got to start this again. It sounds like I have to explain a little bit. He says that he's going hard against disgusting psychiatry. Now, we've heard it. He's very against psychiatry.
He said that he was very outspoken about when Brooke Shields was experiencing postpartum depression and she was taking meds to help her with this depression. He's against pharmaceuticals, the whole deal. He's against being glib. That's right. For sure. Cut 31. Oh, I'm going hard. Those guys are going to end their reign. I'm a psychiatrist. I've had it. Absolutely had it. We actually have an easier time getting people off heroin than methadone or these psychiatric drugs, and I've worked very diligently to educate people about this. It suddenly becomes this reality of it's okay because other people can't. Psychiatry doesn't work. You look at the things that psychiatry has brought to society. We now are living in a time where we spend over $700 billion a year on education, psych-driven, and where are we? Okay. You know what? Because if they did call it disease, they would have to prove it. You know, this whole thing about chemical imbalance. Well, they can't prove any of that. No mercy. These are hardcore. It's a maverick. Okay. Cut 30. Scientology is someone who can look at the world and really see what it is. Not only look at it and see it, but be able to go and be effective and do something about it. Are the authorities. I'm nothing.
says that better than the Mr. Cruz response to the wake-up call in the aftermath of 9-11. Now, of course, if you're Tom Cruz, just lending your name to a cause can generate more energy than most people hope for in a lifetime. But he never merely lends his name. If he takes a stand, it's pedals of the metal till the finish line. As in helping New York firemen. He first saw the dust and heard the cough when descending to the ruins and where he bolstered morale among firemen. The devastation had spread an unprecedented combination of toxins through the air. And it was lethal. All they were doing was medical screening. Nobody was aggressively treating these people to give them a better quality of life. The EPA came out and said the air was coming. As a Scientologist, you go, that's a lie. It was the ground zero call. And nobody knew the cure. And while he could have provided a statement in support, that's not how Tom drives. He personally sought to the establishment of a first New York covered detox project. And no, he did not have permission. How did he, how did he, how do you know? You just do, dude. You just know. You're like, liar, liar, liar. Wow. I want to see the video. I've only heard it. I've only heard it. I've got to see it. Have you seen it, Eddie? I've seen.
Portions of it. I watched TMZ last night and they showed the audio. We played back last night. They showed him laughing. He was laughing about the SJP or whatever it was. Sarah Jessica Parker. I don't know. Down with OPP. He looked whacked, dude. He looks whacked. I don't know what else to say. Rebecca and I were talking about it last night, and she said, do you think that he would be okay with a Katie Holmes that was not 120% gung-ho about... Are you kidding? Listen to the guy talk. I said it. No way. Do you think it would be acceptable for Katie to be like, you know, I think it's okay. No way, man. It's impossible. No. It'd be okay. You know, I'm telling you, Missy, a long time ago, our midday DJ, said one time she thought that... she was like sort of under the control of and i thought it was a crazy comment i said come on what is she he's what he's telling her you better do this and you better do that well you listen to these things here and you're like well no mercy wow there is a dad that has been arrested for uh well he's taking his kid to a packers game his kid wouldn't put the packer jersey on so his dad duct taped it to him
Well, it was actually at home because he wanted him to wear the jersey to watch the game. Oh, I thought they were going to the game. No, they were at home in Wisconsin, and the kid didn't want to put the jersey on. How old? Seven-year-old. Oh. Yeah. So the dad is 36 years old. So he taped the kid, restrained the kid for about an hour and taped the jersey onto the kid. Now, the way the cops found out about it is the wife, I guess there's been domestic issues in the household, and the wife took pictures of it and called the authorities and then showed the pictures to the authority. He was arrested and pled no contest. Now, he is claiming that the whole thing is kind of a joke. Like he was joke wrestling with his kid, and the kid didn't want to do it, and he tapes the kid. Did he tape a cheese head on? Yeah. So, you know, and he says even some of these pictures shows his son laughing while he's doing it. Well, if he's laughing, give me a break. So who knows? It's kind of a he said, she said. The mom is claiming, oh, my son was restrained. Who amongst us cannot say that our dad's held us down and duct taped jerseys on us? It's like every weekend at my house. That's right. How do you think I got to like the Niners? My dad. P1 Thomas.
Hello? What's up, Thomas? Yeah, I used to work for the Church of Scientology in Los Angeles. Oh, so you know stuff. I know a lot. Okay. And the only thing I can say about it is great. Okay, I got questions. I got questions. Okay. When he says to the audience, you ready to clean this place up, what does he mean? He means getting... or working towards getting everybody on the planet clear. Meaning kind of... Meaning helping people get rid of all their aberrations. Got it. And in essence, to kind of boil it down, Tom Cruise is saying, are you ready to get everybody to be a Scientologist? Like to get everybody to see the light and become a Scientologist. You don't necessarily have to be a Scientologist. You don't? You just need to kind of believe and act the way they do. In order to receive Scientology help. Okay. In order to receive Scientology help. So to live your life the way they do. So instead of getting the medication, you would do whatever they think you need to do to make yourself better. Now, does that mean that you can be like Jewish and be Scientologist?
That's correct. Got it. Got it. I think I've heard that, too, that you can be like Christian and be Scientologists. You can be any denomination. It does not matter. You could be Hindu. You could be Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Palestinian. Who knows? What does he mean? What does he mean when he says what does he mean when he says, hey, you guys, you could you years from now, you'll be able to say I was there for it. Meaning that they were there and they were helping. Get rid of, one thing is psychiatry because it is a load of, you know what. Right, right. So it means, hey, you could be here when we were really getting rid of psychiatry and that kind of stuff. That's my assumption. I can't put words into his mouth. I'm not him. What's the basic idea of Scientology? The basic idea is man is a spiritual being. There's three parts to him.
Mind, body, and spirit. Okay. But go ahead. A man is a spirit who has a body that has a mind. Okay. But there's got to be more to it than that. The other day, a guy called in and he said that there was something about we all have an alien spirit and that there's something about being put into a volcano and the spirits escaped and that kind of stuff. Well... I don't know what guy you were talking to, but we are all spiritual beings. Do you believe that or not? Yes. Okay. And you have a mind. Do you believe that? Yes. And you have a body, right? Yes. Okay. Basically, the concept is getting you to operate more as a spiritual being, which then you'll have more control over your mind and your body. I have a question.
The guy that called yesterday that was telling me the thing about the volcano and the spirits escaping out of the volcano and everybody having a spirit from outer space, he said he didn't know that he was on the radio and he wasn't supposed to say that. Like, as a Scientologist, are you not supposed to talk about that stuff? There is nothing like that in Scientology. Okay. Nothing at all like that in Scientology. B-Rob. My question is, as in your beliefs and stuff, is there a heaven and hell for you guys? What happens when you die? I get the mind, body, soul, spirit thing, but what else? What happens when you die? What else do you guys believe in? If you're that interested, I suggest you go to one of the organizations that they have out there and go find out. Are you guys not supposed to talk very much about Scientology publicly? No, in fact, I used to disseminate Scientology.
Okay, well, it seems like when we get somebody on that Scientologist, they have a real, real hard time talking about it on the air. And the feeling that I get in general is that you're not supposed to. No, actually, we want people to know about Scientology. What happens when you die? That is up to, that's basically a personal belief of every individual in Scientology. My main thing is, for me, I know when I die that I, as a person, myself, okay, myself as a spiritual being, I don't know if I have enough knowledge of, you know, myself as a spirit in order to operate as a spirit once.
I leave this body. I think that I've heard enough things from Tom Cruise to understand that it's like kind of an evolution for Scientologists. Like the more you learn, the higher elevated your spirit is. Am I kind of on the right track? I think Tom Cruise is in the car with him. That's right. Is that right? That the thing gets elevated the more you study? Is it kind of like reincarnation? I believe everything that the Church of Scientology is doing is correct. Okay. Do you believe that you have a spirit from an alien? No. You do not believe that your spirit is from a source from outer space? No. I believe that I am billions and billions and probably older. than you could possibly imagine as a spiritual being. Right. And so your spirit is billions of years old. What else could you explain? I mean, how else could you explain, I should say, the aberrations and things like people with their past lives and why things happen to them the way they do and why people have certain fears and they can't explain them? I mean, where is this coming from? I see what you're saying.
Well, I mean, we have different beliefs, but I have a genuine curiosity about Scientology. And honestly, this is probably the most information we've ever got from talking to somebody. But for the most part, when we talk to somebody, they're very like, ah. No. Well, I can tell you this. The only thing that I cannot talk about is. the Scientology auditing sessions that I have received, or the Dianetics auditing sessions. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You guys hear about the auditing? No. I cannot discuss my personal cases with you guys. That is the only thing I can... You can talk about your own personal thing. I cannot talk about it at all. You can't talk about it at all. It's not for me to talk about. But you can talk about your personal experience. And who says you can't talk about it? Who says you can't talk about it? Because he's not going to get you, bud. You're safe. No, it's... I've met Tom Cruise before. I've met Kirstie Alley. I've met John Travolta and his ex-wife. Who says that you can't talk about it? But I cannot talk about... Who told you that? Well, that's basically... LRH? Did LRH make it so that you shouldn't... Okay, and I prefer not to. Okay. Because a lot of people out there... No, this is the reason. There's a lot of people out there...
do not have the same beliefs. Okay? Okay. And a lot of people feel that it's, oh, that's far-fetched. You know, I mean, well... Hey, man, a lot of people think that what I believe is far-fetched. I believe that Jesus Christ walked on water. But your church doesn't tell you that you can't talk about... No, my church encourages me to share what we believe to be the truth. My belief is that Jesus Christ, historically, everybody kind of agrees that Christ got killed and put on a cross and that he died. Where we differ from many other religions is that my religion, we believe that Christ made that sacrifice so that we wouldn't have to pay for our sins. We wouldn't have to earn our way to heaven. What we have to do is just have faith that he was our savior and we go to heaven. Totally, genuinely curious. Am I? Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yes. My suggestion to you is find the nearest Scientology org. I'm not that interested. I'm just being honest. I'm not that interested. I'm not interested enough to drive down and go into a place. But I'm like, hey, if I have a Scientologist on the phone, I want to ask questions. I'm very curious. I'm not authorized to get, you know. Authorized? Who authorizes?
Who authorizes? Because that's just part of our belief system, and it's a common trust between Scientologists. Okay. Ashley, you have a question? I just have a quick question. Because Tom Cruise was saying, are we going to clean this place up? Which you were saying, he was indicating that that means spreading the word of Scientology. So why, when we have you here on the phone, live on the radio, are you not spreading the word of Scientology? That's a good question. If you're going to clean this place up, aren't you supposed to start somewhere? Hold on a second. Oh, my God. What is that? I'm getting out of my car right now. I'm about to walk into my house. Hold on. I think Ashley brought up a pretty good point. If the deal is... I am not an active Scientologist. I understand, but you know about Scientology. But I know about, and I have the same beliefs as Scientologists. It's like cracking a code. Because of... Mostly my personal experiences that I've had in my auditing sessions. I still don't know what that is. I can tell you this much. What Scientology has helped me with, mostly, is remembering who I am and what it feels like to operate as a spiritual being. Who are you? Who are you? What have you remembered? I remember choosing...
My body this lifetime. Where did you choose it? Where? Yeah, I mean, where did this... I can just remember choosing my body. As an infant or as a baby or as an adult? As a spiritual being. So you remember... I can remember being inside my mother's womb. Right. That's just what I remember. Okay. But if you remember that, how did you choose it? You know, I don't understand. I don't understand. It was a choice. It was... It's feeling more like a happy-go-lucky, hey, let's go check this out. And you could have chosen another womb if you wanted to? A womb with a view. You could have chosen another womb if you wanted to. Let's put it this way. Just imagine walking around every day, okay? Walking around every day, almost like a bird's-eye view. Could you picture that? No.
Like from above. Like you're seeing what's going on, but you're above. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah. Like you're in an airplane. Control over every situation, every decision that your body makes. Yeah. Totally analytic. 100% true, correct. Every single day of your life. Could you imagine doing that? No. Well, it's possible. All right. Well, I can tell you. All right. It's possible. He is not Scientology. We're talking to P1 Thomas. He's not Scientologist, but he is very knowledgeable in Scientology. Oh, so you're not? He's not a Scientologist? I am not an active. He's not an active. Oh, you're not an active? You're unactive? Inactive. I think that would be a better way to put it. Oh, boy. Well said. Are you an activist? Thank you, Thomas. I appreciate it.
Does inactive mean you don't believe in it anymore? Like, what does inactive mean? No, I still have the same beliefs, but I am not a practicing Scientologist. Like, you know how you can be active military? And so, you know, when you're not in the military, you're inactive. I was more referring to, like, Christianity. Like, would you ever be an inactive Christian? Because they're different. I don't get that. But I was referring to religion, like, inactive, active. I've never heard of that as a religion. Like, you can still believe in something, but not be active. It's been a while since I've been to a church of Scientology. You know, I was just asking Rebecca this yesterday, and she said, I have no idea. What? I go, what happens inside the building, Church of Scientology? Like, what's in there? Is it like a conference room? Does it resemble the inside of a church? Are there bright colors? Yeah, what is in there? Top Gun posters. What? Probably like a college kind of classrooms. Things, you know. That's what Rebecca thought. She thought it was classes. They are classes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Ashley. P.O. and Thomas, how come you're inactive? I chose a different career path. But it's religion, isn't it? Well, he was working for them. It's not religion. What is it? I've offended him. It's a non-denominational. I apologize. Non-denominational what? Belief. A non-denominational belief. Okay. Okay.
Hey, listen, Thomas, I think it's a fascinating conversation. I wanted to know things. I didn't know stuff. What's an audit? It's almost like a counseling session, a type of counseling. With a live person? It's a one-on-one. With a live person? What's that? With a live person? Yes. I get a sense. Do you know what the word audit means? I'm thinking like tape. Yes, audit means you take account for everything that's there. So is that what the audit is? Look in the web dictionary and look up the word audit. It means to be accountable for what's there. What's another definition of it? Yeah, it's to be accountable for what's there. What's another definition for it? Another definition for audit is the most... Listen. I was just going to tell you. I was going to tell you the definition of audit. Go down, Rob. Go down. Scientology's definition for audit is to listen.
He wasn't yelling at you to listen, he was saying. Oh, listen. To listen. Oh, to listen. It's an evaluation of a person, organization, system, process, project, or product. Yeah. Hey, listen. Thank you, P1 Thomas. I thought this was a very interesting conversation. You have a question, Rob? So, like, the audit thing, is that the first? You were just telling us, like, that's the first thing? That's how you find out about Scientology, right? What's that? The audit? I'm so confused on this. There's plenty of books and material you could read. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Go rent Last Samurai. You'll be fine. Thank you, Thomas. Oh, that's what it is? What's that? You said go. Never mind. Thank you. I just, I don't understand. I have so many questions. So many. It's so tough because whenever you try to ask questions, they're very elusive. Yeah. Long pause. And I'm not authorized. Right. What happens if you break code? Yeah. You get sued. Did you sign something? Call someone and see if they'll authorize you real quick. I've got questions. Good morning, family. This is The Mikey Show.

Eddie, do you know, there's like this Asian or Japanese market, and it's like a little mall, and I think it's on Convoy, but I'm not sure. Do you know what I'm talking about? And they sell like all Japanese food items in there, and they've even got like a little food court in there. You know what I'm talking about? I know what it is. You do? Yeah. Is it on Convoy? Yeah, we get all our bizarre foods from there. Oh. Do we really? Yeah, I bet. I didn't know where that place was. It's Convoy. Yeah. I bet I could get what I want there. I want veggie cup of noodles. I've been to like nine places. I didn't even know they made that. They do. Well, I got one last night. Oh, and it was Grubbin? No, there was bugs in it. Oh, well. Shut up.
Are you being serious? Like, what do you mean? And, you know, I threw them all away. We bought eight of them. And seven of them had, well, seven of them, the lids were already opened. Why? I don't know. It was like a malfunction. Like it was a, you know what I mean? Like the adhesive wore out. Yeah. Yeah, the adhesive. And I threw them all away, but I should have told Rebecca we should get our money back. They were only like, you know, 40 cents or whatever they are. Since when are you phased by stuff being in your food? It's true. And I told her, you know, I said, if there's bugs in the next one, I don't care. I just want to drink the broth. I like the broth. I don't like those stupid news. What kind of bugs are we talking about? Maybe the bugs are a feature. They look like little tiny, well, they were dead. They were dead and they were dried up. And they look like smaller but very similar in appearance to fleas. Maybe they're supposed to be their flavor. They look like flattened, dried, like little freeze-dried fleas. Maybe it's seasoning. Maybe it was pepper. You're sure it was, Bugs? Oh, yeah, because they had legs. That is a giveaway. Pepper doesn't have legs. Yeah, legs are usually a giveaway. Yeah, Sean's got legs.
Sean has legs, I understand. Oh, yeah. No, Sean's got legs. Yeah. Legs are for legs. They're for walking, Mike. Legs are for walking. They are. You still have the song, Sean, or no? Legs. Come on. Do you still have it? Or you could just do it live. I don't know. Do it live. Do it live. Come on. It was so long. I think I sang legs. Did I sing? Yeah, you did. Yeah, it was... To the Audioslave song. Audioslave song. Which Audioslave song was it? He was walking with his legs. What song was it to? Wasn't it like... Wait, hold on. Here we go. Nice. That's when I still drank, I think. No. That's me being creepy. Oh, he sounded like... It's his little instant recorder. His little memo recorder. Little memo recorder. That was good times. Yes, really good. What is that from? Radio Music Awards. Yeah. Just sitting there bored. In Vegas. Singing. Speaking of singing. Awesome. Rob has a new churro song. Oh, what? Wait, he has an old churro song? Oh, yeah, it's a new one. This is, you know, to replace the old one. I was waiting for the latest installment. The latest edition. Who stole my churro? Oh, that's like the best Mexican snack without a doubt. I'm very proud of his work.
They're chewing on a toothpick. Very proud. Can you imagine him recording that? Sure. There's a toothpick in his mouth. That must have looked great. Hey, we got people calling in right now. They really know a lot about Scientology. Really? P1, Brandon, you went into one of these audit deals? Well, no, that's not what I said. Basically, every once in a while, something really gets my panties in a twist. And this Scientology thing... They're all over the place. They're all over the news, and they claim to be helping people and changing people's lives. But they refuse to explain their beliefs. They're always kind of skating around questions and never really explain anything. And what I was interested in doing, I feel like people have a right to know. Christians don't hide their beliefs, and every other religion and denomination doesn't hide their beliefs. I'd like to go in and do this. And let you guys know what goes on. And that way everybody can get the straight scoop on it and know what happens in these things and know what Scientology is. I'm surprised they haven't done that on like Dateline or something at this point. Yeah. And you think they would have sent somebody in there just to find out like what the deal is? Because they won't tell you. Nobody knows. P1 Judy dated a guy six years with Scientologists. Yes. Six years. Yeah, six years.
We all call them like a robot, but they try to do this analytical thing where you think with your analytical mind and not your emotional. You don't really have any emotions. They kind of subside any emotions you have. You're happy. You're frantic. So if any drama comes up, you don't really react to that. It helps you keep focused on bettering yourself as a person, you know? Well, Tom Cruise does, man. He gets very emotional. I saw that one. I guess, but that's just the way he was. And then I know he tried to get me. First thing they do is make an IQ test. Yeah. And then after that, they tell you how you can better yourself with these classes. And then they do this cleansing thing that you do with your body. And then they cleanse your brain. And then you can try to focus on your career, your success. And they refer to, they will refer to a higher power, but they don't use God as the name. Skye's got a question. Yeah. Do you know anything in regards to money and Scientology? Like, I've heard people talk about how, you know, people who are skeptics say it's almost like a scam just to get money out of you and you have to, like, pay for certain things. Yeah, you have to pay. The guy that I was going out with, he took these classes because after they, you know, they told him what he needed to do. And he was taking these classes. But to pay back the money, he volunteered at their schools or whatever for, like, four hours a day for, like, six days a week.
And he did that to help pay back the money. Like, do you know how much these classes cost? I didn't know exactly because I didn't, I scored higher than he thought I would, so I never really heard much about it. But I know that, but I did have that booklet and it was like, they make it, they just, all your reactions, all your emotions, you don't use your emotions at all. He didn't, he was like very monotone, very, you don't really, yeah, it's because you don't think with your reactive mind because that's what keeps you away from your focusing on your success. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the call. This is P1 Truck Driver. Are you there? Yeah, this is P1 Truck Driver. Hey, Mikey, I had the unfortunate or fortunate experience of working out at the Hemet. I don't know if it's like a campus or whatever, but it was like a military place. You walk into the main lobby there. They got L. Ron Hubbard's, you know, a little shrine to him with all his videos, CDs, books, and stuff that you can buy. But it was pretty bizarre. Everybody's dressed in, like, military, like when you're in the Navy jeans.
Light blue shirt. Everybody's saying men and women. And it was just pretty crazy. I didn't know if Jim Jones was going to come around the corner or around the corner. There you go. LRH. There you go. LRH. Let's see. Phillip Rivers got held out of practice yesterday. He's still day to day. And he was defending, you know, mouthing off. What did he say, Eddie? I know that basically he's been doing this all his life. And that, you know, if you were in the backyard playing football, that, you know, you used to be able to talk. junk to your friends and you know that's all he's doing he's not using any foul language he's just you know riling people up and that's you know it's him having fun the woman that filed the complaint against pac-man jones has withdrawn it yeah apparently this wasn't a stripper now she was at a strip club but she's an attorney
Yeah, she is an attorney who was at the strip club, and apparently Pac-Man was getting into it with the management there, saying that they ripped him off and stole money and a bracelet from him, and that he sucker punched her, because she was there with the management, I guess. Right. And now she's saying... And now she's withdrawing it. Weird. Now she's saying, nope, made a mistake, he didn't actually punch me. Yeah. I messed up. Stupid. In Indiana, there was a guy robbing a convenience store, and he shot himself in the testicle. Happens. He was putting the gun in his waistband, and it suddenly went off. Yeah, they say the bullet traveled through his right testicle and then down into the bottom part of his leg. I bet that hurt. Release karma. I would think so. That's right, karma. In your face. There's a guy in New York that's suing over a forced rectal exam. He went into the hospital, right?
Yeah, he's a construction worker, and a wood beam fell on his head, so he went to the emergency room. They said they're going to need to give him a rectal exam. He refused. You're behind, then, having to do with getting hit on the head. They said, we need to do this. He started flailing around, and he ended up hitting a doctor in the head. I would say no. At that point, they had to sedate him. They gave him an injection, which knocked him out. Gentlemen, please rest your sphincters. I don't want to. No. He got hit on the head. He has filed a lawsuit and the doctors say the exam is one way of determining whether he suffered any spinal damage from the incident. Don't look there. Nothing to see here. Nothing to see here. You're going to feel a pinch. Might feel a little stick here. Jenna Bush is getting married at the Crawford Ranch where her dad vacations in Texas. Her mom says that she wishes that she would get married at the White House. Yeah, mommy wants that. But hey, you know, it's up to her. Right. That's always the deal with the parents. The parents, they want a wedding a certain way. Yeah, they have a dream of how they envisioned it. That's news to me. She's probably like, hey, listen, I don't want a government. I want to be like a normal girl.
Yeah. So they say the wedding date is going to be May the 10th. That's really great. I have a duty. O.J. Simpson is out of jail on double bail. The judge was not happy. Double over the top. Double murder. Okay. Double cheeseburger. Double Dutch bus. Double headless crackers. Double dragon. Okay. Double fudge. Double bubble. Double decker. What are we doing? Double down. Double stabbing. Double your trouble. Double your fun. Double your pleasure with double mint gum. Nice. Good. Okay. Funny. I'm free. This is Judge Jackie Glass.
scolding OJ in court yesterday. Cut 33. I don't know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking. Or maybe that's just the problem. You weren't. And I know that Judge Bonaventure, when he told you, because I have the transcript right here, no contact. Direct, no indirect. If you see them, avoid it. He even talked about carrier pigeons. I think Judge Bonaventure made himself very clear. And I don't know if it's just arrogance. I don't know if it's ignorance. But you've been looked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of either arrogance or ignorance or both. And I'm Dr. Laura Schlesinger. I'm clearly above the law, lady. Give me a break. I do what I want. I'm sorry, were you talking to me? Got to put his supple neck there. Judge Millian. Back to you and more of it, Judy. Come here. Come here. Oh, man. Yeah, why don't you say that to me when no one's around and we're on Bundy Drive? Did you say it then? Why do you have to be on Bundy Drive for her to say it? Well, you know, do the math, Scott.
It's called home turf. Oh. One plus one. Home field advantage. One plus one equals double. All right. Double. Oh. Hey. Okay. You know what I'm saying. I'll chop your head off. Okay. That's what I would say. If we're not clear. Yeah. If we're not clear. We're good. In case you didn't understand. Okay. Cut right through it. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Like a warm knife through butter. Anyway. All right. I'm good. Gruesome. And then I'll drink some old Milwaukee out of your skull. All right, double. Too far, too far. A little much. Is that an issue? Sure. Too much right there. Okay. I'll work on that. Yeah, whatever, Judge. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's all I hear. Old lips flapping. You ever hear the phrase, whatever about you? Mikey Show. Hello? We gotta go. I think we've done everything. We've thrown it all out there. Brittany's not pregnant. They think that that was all just a big thing because her boyfriend's company, you know, her paparazzi boyfriend's company is the one that took the pictures. They think it was all just a big put-on. Trying to mess with people. Great. Eddie Murphy got married a couple of weeks ago. It's already over. Wow. Yeah.
American Idol was the most watched show for the night, and Ashley's going to be on it next Tuesday. Yeah, they said that the premiere that night, more people were watching Idol than ABC, CBS, NBC, and the CW combined. Oh, my God. Isn't that crazy? Goodness. There was rumors out there that Jamie Lynn Spears had a miscarriage, and she has not. Jennifer Love Hewitt is in talks for her own daytime talk show. Oh, no. George Michael has signed a deal to write a memoir. Sounds gay. Paula Abdul is already, the Super Bowl performance that she's supposed to do, they're saying, is already a disaster. It's a disaster. She's already lost her voice in rehearsals, and the performance will be, quote, enhanced, meaning that she'll basically be lip-syncing. Oh, no. Oh, no. Yeah. 5701053 is our phone number. Don't go swimming in Mission Beach. 1,300 gallons of raw sewage was spilled into it. Somebody flush that thing. Come on already. Flush it already. Whoopsie. That's a lot of turds floating in Mission Bay. That's gross. That is so disgusting. 570-1053 is the phone number. Tomorrow's the day, man. Big day tomorrow on the Mikey Show. Right here at the radio station, we are giving away a trip for two to New England.
With tickets to the AFC Championship. Wow. To see the Chargers take on the Patriots. Airfare for two. Two nights stay at the Boston Copley Marriott. Party Saturday night. We're setting you up, dog. Tomorrow. Down here at the radio station. And we need a guy and a girl. You got to show up if you're a guy in a Speedo. If you're a girl in a bikini, we're going to put goggles on you. Have you jump into a vat of clam chowder and find the tickets. That easy. Real good. P1 arise. Hello. Yes. Go ahead. You're on the air. Oh, if you want to arrive, I just wanted to see if you know any good places to take a girl for Valentine's Day restaurant. What, Ashley, what? What, Rob? Something for me tonight, but do the Valentine's Day thing first. My favorite restaurant in all of San Diego is Pamplemousse Grill. It's the best food I've ever had in my life. And it's on Via de la Valle.
and it's just west of the freeway on Via Della Valle. That's a great restaurant. Romance. Romance. Romance. Romance. There's always Georgia's, even though I think the food's overrated. What about downtown Bertrand's? Bert's never been there. Eddie, what do you say? I go to Azul's. Azul's. Azul's is great. Azul's. Oh, yeah. I recommend the Outback. Oceanair. Not kidding. Oh, Oceanair's great. Oh, Oceanair's great. Great place. Oceanair is a great place. You like seafood. Hey. That's right. All right. McGregor's. All right, Arise. We appreciate it, man. All right. Thank you. Taco Bell. Do you want Ponce? Hey, yeah. What's up, Mikey? How you doing? Good. Hey, I have a question for Eddie. Yo. Eddie, I listened to you on Sunday mornings, and it seems like you have this tension with Hank Bauer. Do you think Hank Bauer makes John Madden seem like Albert Einstein? Oh, my gosh. Wow. Well, here's the deal. Oh, wow. And if you can't answer, I'll assume that's a yes. Well, here's the deal. Hank and I disagree sometimes, and that's fair. I like Hank, though. I think Hank is cool.
You know, he has his thoughts on the team and I have mine. And that's, you know, that's the way it is. That's what it's about. I definitely think that they made that real man a genius song for Hank Bauer. Oh, no. Oh, wow. So, hey, guys, have a great week. Go Tigers. Hey. No comment. Hey. He's loving chicken grease, man. For sure. Yeah, Mikey Show. Hello. Hey. I'm sorry. I didn't say it. Mikey Show. Yeah, last call. Bring us home. Hey, I had a quick question for Ashley. Go ahead. I was wondering if she knew that she was going to be on a promo like that for the American Idol. I don't know anything. I'm not allowed to say a word, so I got nothing. Boston Rob wants to tell you where he's going to be. Yeah, tonight are going to be in Mission Valley at the Ultra Star Cinemas for the Skid Marks movie premiere. Skid Marks. And that's from 6 till 7. Skid Max. Skid Max. Skid Max. Go see B-Rob tonight, man. He's going to be out there hanging out with you. That's so funny. Lovely and talented Missy is up next today on the show.
