Let's get this Friday thing going, man. It's going to be a big day. 6-0-6. Court documents show that one of the San Francisco Zoo tiger attack victims admitted to drinking and taunting the tiger. So what's on people's minds this morning? Maybe about the NBA? No? Don't you even dare. Ladies and gentlemen, Chargers, Patriots, this Sunday at noon for the AFC Championship. Oh, my God. I was really taking those words in when you were saying them. I was drinking them up. Well, LT is fine. Turned to practice yesterday. Awesome. Good to go. What about Phillip Rivers? Held him out. They and Sid, they are being cautious with him, which I agree with. Gates, same as last week? Same as last week. Hasn't changed? Has not changed. It's the same thing. So it's just like it were last Friday. Yeah. It's like we're hearing the same exact deal. It will be a game time decision, that kind of thing. So we'll just have to wait and see.
Jamal Williams held out of practice again. He's got a little ankle injury, but he should be fine. He'll play. And Sean Merriman, actually, he's got the stomach flu. And so he's been sick since Monday on our show. He had actually mentioned that to Ashley, that he woke up feeling kind of sick. But he'll be fine by Sunday. You mean sick? Now, when you say the stomach flu... It's the exact same thing that we think of when we go to the flu, right? It's when you're laying in bed. Just feel terrible. You feel terrible and you're throwing up. He says he feels much better yesterday. So by today, he should feel even better. By tomorrow, he'd be even better. So he should be fine. Wow. Don't sweat it. The flu is like my worst nightmare. That's my least favorite. It's garbage! Eddie, would you... take a week of a cold over a day of a flu or no? Ooh, like 24-hour flu as opposed to a full five or seven days? Seven days. I'll have to take the flu. Really? Yeah. Not me. I do not like to throw up. Yeah, I don't either. I just hate it, you know? I hate it. So I would have to throw up?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, for sure. We're talking the stomach flu. Yeah, you're definitely throwing up, if not other stuff. All right. I'll take the cold. You will. I'll take the cold. The cold's got its own misery that comes along with it. You know what I mean? I feel like crap. Yeah, it's just awful. But I don't like throwing up. When I was a little kid, I used to throw up so funny. Well, Eddie knows. Oh, jeez, dude. What? What do you mean when you were little? Yeah. Well, it stays. I would go... I would like change tone. And it would go on for, you know, it would be this extended thing. I couldn't control it, you know. It was the way God made me to throw up. And so, you know, some people would just throw up. They go, and they throw up. But me, it was like, he's not exaggerating. I'm not. I am not. So, yeah, gosh, do we have a big show today. I mean, gigantic. News will be here to film what's going to go on today. Basically, we're giving away a trip to New England. One of our P1s is going to be going to Boston. Airfare for two. Two-night stay at the Boston Copley Marriott. Tickets to the game. Transportation to and from the game. Party Saturday night with Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer. I'm hearing rumors.
that Patriot fans are going to show up today and try and win the tickets. Oh, I hope so. Oh, I don't doubt that at all. It's a period. No! I want to not let them in. Like, I want to not let them in. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, Patsby. The nerve! I know it. I know it, man. Well, that's the deal. You know, I mean, it's open to anybody. Basically, this is what you need to do. If you want to win this trip to New England, flight leaves tomorrow. Yeah. If you want to win this trip to New England, basically what you need to do is you need to get down here right now and get your name in the hopper. Where are we at? Where are we at? 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. So what you want to do is take the 15 to Arrow Drive, head west, and a couple lights up, you're going to see a street called Daly Center. Go left on Daly Center and make your next right.
Drive down about, I don't know, a couple hundred yards and you'll see clear channel building on the right. Big glass building. It's a big fortress. Then go around to the back. Go up. Go around to the back and go up. You'll know what I mean when you get there. There's two levels and you can go up. You'll see us all hanging out there. And what you need to do in order to win is you need to come down. If you're a guy, you got to come down here wearing a Speedo. If you're a girl, you've got to come down here wearing a bikini. And we're going to make this contest so that one guy and one girl will participate. We'll put goggles on you. You will jump into a vat of clam chowder. And you will find this ticket to the game. And the first person that finds it, it is theirs to keep. And they will be going on the trip. It's that easy. So get down here. It's going to be huge. And if you're coming down here just to watch,
Wear your charger gear because you're going to be on TV. So look good. Wear your charger stuff. And I have a feeling the news may be sticking around because we're going to have Boston Rob running the charger gauntlet. And what this is is UP1's coming out here. And did Jay get everything, Eddie? When he called me yesterday, he pretty much had everything. He's having trouble getting... paint to go into the balloon so he said no matter what how do you do that i don't know he said no matter what he's got paintballs and paintball guns so we'll light him up no matter what he's got the eggs he's got everything so we will be able i know how he could have done it i just realized right now how he could have done it he could have put the paint in a insecticide sprayer you know what you spray your lawn with because you just pump it up you pressurize it and then you spray it right into the balloon I was thinking, like, you could take, like, a syringe. Yeah, or like a... You know, like, draw it up in the syringe and then... Or like an icing bag, you know, that you ice the cake with. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a... You know, anything that has a little nozzle in it. My idea's better, but yeah, you could do that. Oh, sure. Sean just has a lot of syringes lying around. Well, I don't understand. A syringe, though, Sean, like, isn't a syringe... Without the needle.
Oh, without the needle. Yeah, I take the needle off and it's just like, you know, it's an open hole. Aren't you only putting a few ounces of paint at a time that way? Well, you got to get a giant, one of the big syringes. They have the kind that hold a lot of liquid, you know? Like as in how much liquid? I would say like maybe a half a cup, brown thick one. That's cool. You know, if you need like an enema or something, you could use it for that. No, I got you. All right. I'm good. Thank you. Clear it up. We get it. icing bag probably holds five, six cups, but hey, you know, whatever, man. How big is the balloon? I mean, there's little water balloons, right? I understand. Come on, guys. To each their own, you know. Maybe we could have Sky and Sean kind of face off against each other with their ideas and see who gets more balloons filled up faster. Come on, guys. It's Charger Friday. Oh, yeah, yeah. Charger. San Diego. It'd be a tie, you guys. It'd be a tie. Oh, we're both right. Yeah, you're both right. Oh, my bad. It is. So, well, let's get this thing rolling. 5701053 is our phone number. Rob's going to be running down a gauntlet of UP1s. He's going to be dressed in some kind of ridiculous Patriot outfit. Oh, dude. He's a big Patriot boy. Oh, I can't wait. Oh, it's so good. Jay is great. He's funny when he does that stuff. He does not care.
So he made a stupid outfit for Boston Rob to wear to look like a Patriot. And what we're going to do is we're going to have Rob running down this area that we've cordoned off. And you P1s are going to get to paintball him and throw eggs at him. Love it. Yeah. It's going to be great. Now, hey, this hour, we're going to have Rob jinxing the Patriots through reading a letter. Oh. Here's the deal. He didn't want to make a bet. He refused to make any kind of an on-air bet. So we said, okay, then you'll read something to jinx your patriots. Which he doesn't like either. But it's so funny how he acts like it doesn't bother him. It bothers him a lot. It's going to drive him crazy. Yeah, it really affects his personal life. But he knows, well, I think this is what I think. I think that he says,
Well, if I act like it bothers me, then they win. Or if I act like it bothers me, maybe they make it worse. And so I'm just going to pretend that I don't care. But trust me, he does care. And wait till you hear this, what he's going to read. I would not read it. Oh. I would not. Well, you're not a stuff boy. Nope. But it would concern me, karma-wise. Oh. Yeah. It would really concern me, the stuff that he's going to read, would concern me. karma wise and so he's going to be doing that before the hour is up then we give away the trip to new england with people jumping into clam chowder and then rob runs the gauntlet so rob's got a real morning ahead of him about nine o'clock his morning will be better but for the next three hours it's going to be pretty bad well but then around nine o'clock we do the dumb chick challenge which he's been horrible he's got to take part in that i'm sure his head will be in that right
570-1053 is our phone number at the beginning and end of every show. You can call in about anything you want. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Eddie is our producer. Sky is our news girl. Sean does sound effects. Ashley is our assistant producer. Boston Rob screens phone calls. And Zeth is in charge of pretty much everything on the Mikey show, IT-related. Constantly taking pictures and putting them on the website, which, by the way, we've got to take the camera out there, Zeth, and we'll get pictures up immediately of that. Seth is in charge of blasting everybody on the text messages when we do that, if you're in the P1 text army. And it's pretty cool. Our guest in studio today is P1 Scooby. Scoop! What's up? What's up, dude? All this time, and we've never had you in the studio for this. Yeah, I mean, ever since you first started the P1 trivia and everything, having a guest call in, I've been trying my hardest to get in. Yeah.
It's not easy, right? It was not easy that, and either the opportunity never, you know, came up or... It's not easy. It's not. It's not easy. But he got on P1 Trivia on Monday. He won. Now he's got a backstage pass. We even provide the people that win with a laminate, a backstage pass laminate. And he's in the studio. That'll get him around the station today. So if anybody wonders who he is... He's got the laminate. He's allowed to be in the radio station. He's legit. He's legit. And so that's what's going on here today. 570-1053 is the phone number. This is P1 Mikey B. Hey, how you guys doing? Good. Okay, I just got a quick question. You guys' Chargers, wonderful, because I'm from New Hampshire. That's great. But you guys' fans, I feel a little fair weather as far as, you know, hey, they want to show their support now, but what happened when we were four or five games in the season? We're 1-3, we're 2-4, whatever you guys' record may be. But I'm from New Hampshire, and I know we've got the Red Sox, and they've had their 100 and some odd years. And I mean, thick and thin, we're with them. And I just didn't know if you guys had your opinion or whatnot on the Chargers fans. I mean, you guys can be legitimate fans, but I didn't know. I don't really feel that the San Diego Chargers fans or San Diego Padres fans, they're just not for their team. Well, I have to disagree with one thing that you said.
Okay, okay. You said that you feel that San Diego fans are a little fair weather, and I disagree with that. I think we're extremely fair weather. I think that we are the most fair weather. When the Chargers and the Padres are losing, the city of San Diego could care less. When they are winning, we are bigger fans than you are. That is correct. When they're winning like they are right now, we are bigger fans than you, my friend, with your stupid patriots. And, you know, so we'll admit it. I mean, we're real open about it. We don't have the storied history that you guys have of being losers for as long as you have. 86 years of being a loser. Talk about it. We don't have that long. We've been losers just not as long as you. And so we are very fair weather. We don't care when we lose. Biggest bandwagon. Yeah, biggest bandwagon city in the world. We won't support the team. In fact, we'll talk smack about our own team. Who cares? We will not be there faithfully. We'll stop going to the games. And we do not support. But when they're in the position they're in now, we're better than you are. Thank you for the call. So true. P1Bianca.
Hey, this is Bianca. I just want to say yesterday we were talking about how the other cities don't like the fact that Sean Merriman did the lights out dance. And years ago, nobody had a problem with Seau doing the bolt dance. I mean, it's the same thing. He's celebrating his attack. I think some people had a problem with Seau doing the bolt dance. Yeah, in fact, I think that what the rap was on Seau doing the bolt dance is, hey, Junior, you just made a tackle, bro. And that's what you're paid to do. So enough with your ridiculous bolt dance. The rap on Junior was the grandstanding, the grandstanding, the grandstanding. And so I think that, you know, there may have been a little bit of some people saying some stuff. I guess you just, whatever, whatever you feel, it's your own deal. I'm assuming you liked it when he used to do the Seau dance. Yeah, I mean, it's just a celebration. Yeah. Yeah, I always kind of, the only thing I don't like is, I don't know, like I see a difference in celebrations like Chad Johnson does. Like I love his celebrations. I think they're fun and funny and I think that he's got the right spirit when he does it. The ones that I don't like are the ones that are, I don't know, thuggier.
Jerkier, not the right spirit. You know what I mean? For me, it could be the same exact celebration. It just depends on the guy. I don't like T.O. celebrations. I like Chad Johnson celebrations. Eddie, where are you with that? It just kind of depends, I guess, on the player, too. There's nothing mean-spirited about Chad Johnson. you know he's not like shoving it in people's faces as far as like he's not taunting really when he does he's just trying to have fun when other people do it i feel like they're kind of taunting that's good and and i don't like that that's true and i never liked the bolt dance i never liked junior say celebrating a tackle because you know to me it's like well great you made a tackle like you're supposed to make a tackle but you know like sack dances are a little bit different to me because getting to the quarterback is really difficult and it's a little bit more to me. So I don't mind when Merriman does it. And to his credit, he was going to not do it this season, but his teammates were the ones who were like, dude, you've got to do it. It fires us up. P1Is is on the line. Go ahead, Is. Hey, Mikey. What's up? I was just calling to see if you had picked up an issue this week, Sports Illustrated, at all this week. I have not.
Because the Giants, Packers, and Patriots all have double-page centerfolds of pictures of them winning in their game. They all have a comment about the game and a picture, but the Chargers don't even have a picture on the double page. They don't even get a single page at all. Let me ask you, I'm sure that that kind of upsets you, right? Oh, it's like no respect. That's my team. This is like the city I live in. I don't like it either. But let me ask you this. And I want you to think about the question and answer me with as much honesty as you can. Does that surprise you? No, absolutely not. Because that just goes to show me how the NFL would want to see Patriots versus Colts with all those questionable calls in the games. It's just such bias. What do the Chargers have to do to get some form of credit? Yeah, I agree with you, man. They do not get credit nationally. That's a bummer, right, Eddie? It's tough because when you look at this matchup and you look at this team, I understand it. I understand why the Patriots are favored by 14 points. I mean, this Patriot team is an incredible team. It doesn't mean that the Chargers can't go in there and win. Any team can go in and win. That's why you play the games. Any Sunday, Eddie. Any given Sunday. That is correct, guys. I forgot the given part. Any given Sunday, Eddie. But it does suck that you don't.
hear that you know they deserve some credit for getting there you know i mean this team has won eight nine games in a row it's like that doesn't just happen you know you have to be a decent good team for that to happen yeah and i don't even think they get credit for that and i and you know some of these guys on espn i just i i can't stand them you know comparing philip rivers to ryan leaf things like that because because the guy you know likes to talk smack and stuff that's just stupid that's just bad you know animal being a bad analyst. Yep. So, I don't know. I agree with you. It is irritating. P1 Randy Moss is innocent is on the line. Hello, P1 Randy Moss is innocent. What's going on, Mikey? Not too much. Just sitting here not liking the Patriots. What are you up to? I'm just sitting here at work worrying about Sunday because I've got to work, but I'm still going to watch the game. And I just want to bring up what you said earlier about Chargers fans being the best fans and all that. What do you think about that truth? Why is it that the mayor of San Diego has to make it mandatory and make some big commotion about San Diegans wearing Chargers apparel to work on Friday when back home in Massachusetts it's all we wear is Patriots gear, it's all we wear is Red Sox gear. Why does the mayor have to step up and say something to San Diegans to get themselves into the game? Because he's a goofball. Next question.
I answered your first question because he's a goofball. I mean, he's not me. He's not most of the Charger fans. I mean, I don't know what you want. All I'm telling you is that here in San Diego, we are very bandwagon, and then when it comes this time, we get into it. In fact, we're better fans than you are. Hey, Mikey. Yes. Hey, don't forget about the regular season game when it was 38-14, all right? I haven't forgot that. I haven't forgot it. And you know who else hasn't forgot it? Who's that? Sean Merriman and LaDainian Tomlinson and Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates. You know who else hasn't forgot about it? All the San Diego fans and all that psyche going into the game and on that whole plane ride over when they're listening to things like music that's going to get them inspired. Nobody's forgotten it, bro. Nobody's forgotten how disrespectful the Patriot players were when the Chargers lost in the playoffs here in San Diego. Nobody's forgotten anything. Trust me. I think our memories are working pretty good. Yeah, don't forget also, sweetheart, that you guys are the ones that are trying to make history. You guys are the ones that have all the pressure. We're just a really crappy team that just got lucky to get into the AFC Championship game. I mean, we're just happy to be here, bro. So good luck. Good luck on Sunday making history. I love that. P1 Tony.
Yes, hi. I just want to know a legit place where I can go and watch the game and everything, because I just got stationed here in San Diego. That's a pretty good question. I mean, there's a lot of neat sports bars. Eddie, what do you think? Well, the pre-game, post-game is going to be, again, in Little Italy at the Urban Bar and Restaurant. Yeah, because I heard you guys were there last week. Yeah, we're going to be there again. So it's a great place to watch the game. Plus, you know, we're going to be down there. The whole rock crew is going to be down there. So I would suggest that. It's 1953 India Street. Okay, okay. It's going to be fun, man. It's going to be a lot of fun. I think you guys will have fun. All right, sounds cool. All right, man, thanks. All right, bye. A lot of stuff happening in the news. A lot of stuff happening in the news. You know, what's dominating today, obviously, is the Chargers. The game, by the way, is on at noon on Sunday. And, Eddie, what time does all of the stuff start here on Rock 105? We're going to kick off stuff, I believe, at 8 a.m. Wow.
Mike Costa, Brian Wilson, fantasy freaking football show. They're not going to talk about fantasy football. And then at 9 o'clock is when the countdown to kickoff starts with me, Lou, and Laz. Laz live from New England. Oh, wow. Yeah, so it's going to be pretty cool. I love it. Yeah, we'll be live at, like I said, the Little Italy Urban Bar and Restaurant downtown, so you can come out and see us. And he says LT is back in practice. Phillip Rivers is held out again to be safe. Yeah. What else? What's going on with the other teams that are playing? What about the Packers and the Giants? What's up with them? Not a lot. I mean, a lot of talk right now about how cold it's going to be in Green Bay. I mean, the weather there is crazy. Oh, boy. And so, like most of the Giants are saying right now, they're not afraid of the cold and all that stuff. Want to hear some of the guys? Yeah, yeah. You got Michael Strahan talking about if he's going to be wearing layers at 63. I told him I'm wearing layers. Those guys can wear shorts. I'm not trying to impress anybody. For what? I'm strong. I guarantee you, Justin Tuck's goosebumps will be bigger than his muscles. I like Strahan. He's funny. He's got a giant gap between those two front teeth. It's real big. Real big gap between those two front teeth. P1 Toenails has been waiting patiently. Hi, P1 Toenails.
Hi, good morning. Hi. Hey, go Chargers. What's going on, dude? Yeah, go Chargers. Well, when the season started, I was going to get my first pedicure. It was a Christmas gift from my wife. And I asked them if they could put some lightning bolts on the big toes. Yeah. And they did. Oh, man. I started with, you know, blue toenails with the white bolts and the gold trim. And then went to the powder blue. We had a...
Hey, bro, hey, toenails, I hate to interrupt you, but you're not helping our cause too much, bro. It's your fan, dude. Yeah, I mean, you're not helping our cause too much right now. I mean, you're making us sound a little... Just get the whole pedicure guy. Yeah, a little feminine here. I don't know about this. You gonna do the fingernails, too? I think it's just a reflection of, you know, the San Diego men not afraid to show their feminine side. I see. I see. Still, like I said, not helping. Said that as he's putting on some gold lipstick. We have appointments. All right, well, thank you. We got disconnected, bro. Sorry about that. Sorry about that. Something must have happened where we just... Hey, Rob, you have Tom Brady as your quarterback. Ed, relax, buddy. No kidding. Okay? I got a few pictures I can show you. Yeah. Oh, dude. Don't faze me at all. Well, I mean, the guy's dressed as a little cowboy in some of those pictures. You go 26 to 28 last week. You take whatever pictures you want. Okay, Brokeback. That's great, yeah. Brokeback. Looks like a picture for Brokeback, too. Seriously. Oh, my gosh. Hey, guess what's going to be going on this weekend across the country? Cut 48. That sounds good. I want to see it again. It sounds very real, doesn't it? It sounds very real. That is pandemonium breaking out in New York City in the film Cloverfield, which is very real looking. It's real looking. As a matter of fact, when I was driving home, I said...
I think they may have used some actual footage for computer models to make some of these effects. Because some of these effects are so realistic and so scary and freaky. And, you know, a lot of that movie I watched with a giant smile on my face going, wow, that's impressive. It's cool. It's a very impressive movie, Cloverfield. And it's out this weekend. And it's only an hour and 15 minutes long. So it's... You know, it's not too bad. Not at all. You don't feel like you're in a movie. The movie I want to see, too, is There Will Be Blood. And that movie is almost three hours long. It's double watching that Cloverfield. So we got a ton of stuff on the show. Get down here and watch. Get down here and participate for the New England trip. We're giving away a trip to New England for two. And two people are going to be jumping into a vat of clam chowder to look for those tickets. Also, Rob running the Charger gauntlet. So get down here and watch that and participate in that, throwing eggs and paintballs at Boston Rob in that big, goofy outfit. We got the Dumb Chick Challenge on the show today. It's going to be a very big day on the show. Dane Cook in the Stand-Up Spotlight. The show's Stand-Up Spotlight. From 5-3. There are certain sounds in this world that when you hear them, they make you react in different ways.
There are certain sounds that when it floats into your eardrum, and it goes high into your cerebellum, located near your limbic system, you hear the sound, you react in a certain way. Some sounds soothing, right? You hear like the sound of a babbling brook. Maybe the sound of the dryer with the towels. That was a horrible impersonation of, I know, that was bad. That's the best I can do. It's like haunted laundry in there. there are certain sounds in this world that for whatever reason, just the way it hits you, it makes you want to punch a baby. It makes you want to punch a baby. In a nursery, when you hear the sound, you go on a baby punching tangent. You will start punching punch infants. Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Man, today's the last day to get down to cricket and get the best of the Mikey Show CD furry up. That's it. Today. Today. It's over. Yeah, you basically have
From the time they open to the time they close tonight, if you have a little time on your lunch hour, I'd go down there and get it. Or when you get off work, go down there and get it because that's it after today. It's a good call. And we don't want to hear you come to us. Oh, but I didn't work. Where can I get it? Come on. Yeah, that's the deal. I think a lot of times people go, well, they're saying that, but. Yeah, they don't really mean it. I almost think it's weird and creepy how gone they are. Every time we've done a best of CD, they're like creepily gone. Yeah. They disappear. They're gone. And so after today, you're not going to be able to get the best of this Mikey Show CD. It's called Furry Up. It's in select cricket locations, and it's in a ton of them. So if you're wondering, well, I wonder if it's at the one by my house, go on our website, and we'll tell you where it is. Am I missing anything, guys? I think that's it.

8.05 starts to slow a little bit again through North Park, and now you've got the pack up from the 52 towards Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. Things are looking great, though, out of the East County. The Westbound 94, that's moving right along. Westbound 8, full speed into Mission Valley. South 15, coming out of Escondido, a minor delay through Escondido around Felicita, and some intermittent slowing into Rancho Bernardo. Your coaster ride, Southbound 5, is also seeing a little bit of tight traffic from Birmingham Drive down to around Monmouth Avenue Drive in Solana Beach. And if you're heading into Coronado this morning, it's not as bad as it has been the last week, but still got to find a backup about mid-span onto the island. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Sending somebody to the AFC Championship game. On Friday, we are giving away playoff tickets. I can't handle this. Tickets to see the Chargers play the Patriots. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. We're sending you to New England. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. P1 Disney Dad. You're in? I'm all in. All right. All you got to do... I hate clam chowder, too, but I'm all in. Got to do it. Got to do it. You jump in there. It's going to be two people jumping in at the same time and going for tickets. And whoever finds those tickets is a person going to the game. Get your speedo. 5-3. We're going to Boston. Welcome back. It is 6-40. Britney Spears is said to be suffering from multiple personality disorder and does not remember what each personality does. The Cowboys' Jason Garrett is staying put. He's going to remain the Cowboys' offensive coordinator and has been named assistant head coach.
We're going to take a vote. And if we vote yes, we'll take this call. If we vote no, we will not take this call. All right. I'm just worried that it may be a little too much like the finger, the toenail thing. Okay. Oh, no. Okay. Guy on line one wants to talk about how he's a fireman with East County. He wrote a poem for the Chargers. Oh. I vote no. I vote no because the only reason I vote no is because I just don't. I think that the nature of a poem. Could lead to it sounding very feminine. And I'm a little worried about that. I want to, right now, have a very masculine aura about the Chargers. Eddie? Too cutesy. Like, I don't, you know, I don't want to hear a poem. Too sweet. No, no. I vote no. Skye? I vote yes. Why? For some reason, I feel it may, like, have some fun kind of undertones and could get people fired up. Sean?
No, I really like to laugh at people, so I say go for it. Ashley. Oh, you're working? She can't talk. Did you hear what we even said? Can you give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down? No, you can't. Oh, she didn't hear. I vote no. Boston Rob. I'd like to hear this guy's sonnet. Of course. Zeth? No. No, it's tied. It's tied? Scooby's got to be the tiebreaker. Hang on. Scooby. Scoo. Well, I was thinking, you know, firemen writing poems. I don't know. But, sure, why not? We're going to hear it then. P1 Greg? Greg, are you there? Yeah. Greg, you get to read your poem. The vote was... I'm a firefighter, and I was up this morning, and I heard the New England guys' newscast was talking a mess about us, so I just wrote this little poem real quick.
It's the Sanger Superchargers. If you guys want to hear it, I can tell it for you guys. Yeah, well, we just voted, and the vote was yes. Here's what I wrote. It was real quick. I'm a fireman. I'll tell you what. This is it. It's called, This is still the Chargers. Although we may be lame, our team that's all together will put the path to shame. They may have lost the game, but to all Sandegans, they're cheaters just the same. If we could all be bolts one day, I think the team should know all of you will be with you sleet or snow. Even if we win or lose and do our very best, those Patriots and them fans can have the best city in the West. That's it. All right. Well, thank you very much. Thank you very much for the call. There you go, Sky. Bravo. There you go, Sky and Scooby and Rob. Bravo? And, you know, bravo to you guys. Can I take my vote back? Everybody fired up? I'll give a bill of Shakespeare.
I wrote a song and put it down on tape last night. You guys want to hear it? Oh, you did? Yes. Do you think the bass is taking away from the vocal? A little bit. Of course I do. Why are you asking? Because you thought so too. Fix it, Nick. Get it fixed. P1 T-Rex is on the line. Hey, what's happening, guys? T-Rex, what's up? You're outside? Yeah, I just pulled up. And it's about 100 people out here right now. I love it. I love it. I want to say, if any Patriot fans win... That's hysterical. I do have a lot of Charger fans out here right now. And so far, so good. I see maybe one Patriot fan, and I'm about to go... It's actually a girl, but...
There's people in Speedos with video cameras outside my window. That's fantastic. For me, it was really awesome. That is fantastic. That's kind of creepy. Let me tell you, man. Mikey Show P1s are out here in force. If you want to be on the news, get down here. They're awesome. I just want to say town in 94, and the town just lit up. And I want to say the town's doing great. I'm glad the mayor said they're charging gear. That's right. You know, a lot of times, back to old California, we do dress up nice. I don't know how they dress up back in New England. Like a lot of pulp. Do you remember that AFC? Was it an AFC championship between the Steelers and the Chargers? Is that what it was when Dennis Gibson knocked that pass away? Yeah. Right before the touchdown was going to be made. Yeah, they said in that game.
The Chargers had no chance of winning against the Steelers. I talked to Lou Bush a lot about this. I was going to ask you if we could get him on this morning. Let's get him on. He says that when they got to Pittsburgh... that people were buying them their dinners because they felt bad for the Chargers. Are you serious? Yeah, and it would infuriate the Chargers. And then at their very first practice, they show up on the field, and the Steelers were still on the field shooting their Super Bowl shuffle video that they were going to air. For the Super Bowl. Are you serious? And so Lou said from that point on, the Chargers were like, there's no way we're losing this game. Right. There's no way we're losing this game. Wow. Right. And so I fired them up. And all this talk about the season of perfection for the Patriots and that the Chargers have no chance of winning and all that stuff, I kind of get that same vibe, that same feeling, man. It's interesting. It is, man. And I kind of get what you're saying. I'm feeling it, too. We're kind of in the same situation. Absolutely.
Well, T-Rex, I appreciate you calling. We'll see you out there in a minute. Okay, you got it, bud. There it is. It's T-Rex. So a few things going on. There was a little bit of land movement at Mount Soledad yesterday, and we know it was already a landslide there, however long ago. Was it during the 28-hour show, I think, is when it happened, right? Yeah, it was in October. Well, three months ago, yeah. So now I guess it moved again. And so Colonel Sanders. Went up there real quick last night and gave a press conference and was letting everybody know. Just nothing to see here. Cut 58. Well, what we've seen this afternoon at approximately 3 p.m., we saw a movement of about 8 to 10 feet horizontally and about 8 to 10 feet vertically. So it's within the crater that was already there. And the dirt has not caused any new damage to any homes that were not already red tagged or yellow tagged. There you go. How do we fix that? Yeah. To fill it up or something. Thank you. Yeah, well, when you're living on the side of a hill and it rains and the ground gets all saturated, you know. Yeah.
Why are you so mean to them? Well, I'm just saying it's nature. I mean, these are things that... Well, she's saying you're stupid, too, if you live there. Well, no, I'm just saying it's nature. Why would you go live there? They're a million-dollar homes. They're beautiful. They are. They're beautiful. You're a bad person. I'm not. It's just nature. These things happen. I had this thing. I was just going to tell you about something. It's like a sneeze. Like, it's in my brain right now. Like a sneeze. I'm like... Pick your brain. Maybe it'll come out. Ew. Man, it was right there. Bless you. I know. Now it's gone. Gesundheit. I had something I wanted to tell you guys about. Oh, great. It's so frustrating. It really is. It's not easy. It's not easy. Was it about Gene Simmons on Celebrity Apprentice last night? It wasn't, but I just remembered what it was. Oh, sweet. I just remembered what it was. I jogged it. Way to go, Eddie. I tickled you. Well, it's this thing that could affect all of us. What?
President Bush is going to try to stimulate the economy. So what they are suspecting is going to happen today is that Bush is going to announce that every one of us is going to get money. Well, not every one of us. Who won't? um well if you're well and this is alternative details he will announce the firm details later today but if you're a single individual and you make over 85 000 a year you won't get anything and if you're a couple did you just find that out no why didn't you tell me that this morning when we were talking about it no well because we just go over the brief like real quick like surprise i feel i feel stupid Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I feel kind of dumb. I mean, we can't go over every single thing. Oh, no, but that's a big one. But you said you had heard about it on the news, so I figured you had heard this part, too. Uh-uh. Oh, yeah, so according to what I'm reading this morning. Secretly trying to make you look like an idiot. It's not that secret. Tax. Don't worry, I'll get her back. Every person in the world is going to get money today. Yeah. Oh, and there's other details, but I'll drop them on the air. Oh.
How much did we get on air, Mike, to throw the egg in your face? I'll let you say that. What's it like to feel trivial, Mike? Yes. I mean, this could change because he hasn't made the firm announcement, but what I'm reading this morning... And I'll continue to ignore this situation. And I certainly... I'm sure people want to know if they qualify. I certainly hope Mike doesn't harbor this and use it against me later. This isn't my bad. I didn't do anything wrong. Give me a break. Oh, I won't either. When I do mine, I won't... Hey, listen, I didn't know. I thought you knew. I know that you read the news. I figured you knew. You're a news girl. Well, you said you had already heard about it, and we go over things real quick. That's news to me. We go over things real quick. What is it? I have no idea. Okay, well, wait a minute. That's news to me. Now, hang on. Yeah. This is still pretty cool. If you make under 85 grand. For a single person. Yes, you're single. You're not married. Most of us. and you're not married, they're saying you could be getting anywhere from $500 to $800. What? Where? And if you're a couple and you make less than $110,000, then you can qualify a married couple. Where do you get? Up to... Now, for the married people, you can be getting up to how much money?
Well, see, it changed. It says word from Capitol Hill is the president wants a $800 tax rebate for individuals and a $1,600 tax rebate for married couples. But lawmakers think that's a little excessive, and they are leaning towards about a $500. for single and $1,000 for married. And this has nothing to do with tax refunds, nothing like that. We don't know. In fact, that was one of the things that Skye and I were honestly and openly communicating about before the show began. Are you sure about that? At length. Come on. For quite a period of time. Well, because you were asking me those questions. And I said, I don't know. The president will give all the details, you know, solid details. I actually do know, but I'm not going to share. Oh, no, I don't know. I'll just withhold them until we get on the air. Whatever. Rob's going to be like, hey, guys, just want to let you know we're getting married tomorrow, actually. We're not going to get married later. We decided that we love each other too much. And we would rather make the $1,600 that comes to a married couple. And so can you guys all be at Fry's Electronics tomorrow? That's where we registered. And be in the parking lot. We love each other about $1,600 worth.
But, yeah, I mean, that applies to a lot of us listening. That applies. You may be getting some dough. We don't know how it's going to be. delivered to you or how you're getting it. And I guess all that will be revealed when Bush does his big deal and his spiel. And we don't know by when or anything like this. Well, all the details will be announced later today when President Bush holds a press conference. Yeah, but when can I expect to see that money in my bank account? Well, I don't know. Right now it's speculation. Will it be direct to pauses? I mean, Sky, quit fooling with my high. Tell me, tell me. Crazy ham eater. Give me the information. I need it right in second. Give it to me. Give it to me. Mikey, why are you? Get outside of the radio station right now, you. If you're driving in your car right now, come to the radio station. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Boston Rob is not willing to make a bet about this weekend's game between the Patriots and the Chargers. He's a big Patriot fan. He's from New England. I said, all right, fine. You're not going to do a bet? Then we'll find something else for you to do. So we're going to have him read a jinx letter to the Patriots. Bad karma. We got nothing to lose, dude. It doesn't matter what we do. That's coming up next. This is The Mikey Show. You've given everyone a great laugh and a great way to start my day, so we thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. I can't believe you guys are forcing me to do this. Well, you didn't want to make a bet. I'm forcing you. You work paid right now. That's right. Well, and you had options. On the show, bro. Who gets options? The guy had options. He's the stunt boy. He should have had a bet. Sure. But he says, no, I don't want to do a bet. And he didn't do a bet. No, I'm not going to do it. I don't want to do it. Forget about it, guys. That's okay. He's going to now read. The audience letter that he wrote. With like passion. Incorrect. Erroneous, Mike. Let's hear this. What are your thoughts, Rob? What did you write down? What did you put on paper? This is disgusting. What are your thoughts? This is disgusting. That's almost like his little blog. His inner thoughts. Let's hear your blog. Your inner thoughts, Rob. Go ahead. You haven't even got the first sentence out. Nope. I just looked at it. Let's hear it, Rob. This is really happening right now? Yes, it is. Wow. Bad karma. Think about all your buddies listening. No, no, no, no, no, no. We talk about those guys in there, Eddie. Oh, good. Hello, friends. My name is Robert Stevens. Known on the Mikey Show as Boston Rob. I grew up in and around Boston, Massachusetts. You might have heard of it. No, do not add one word. Did he add that? Did he add that? Rob. Rob. Hey. What? What did I do? Rob.
Do not add... My vision is... Your vision is perfect. Your vision is perfect. That's right. Thank you, Dr. Kaunaki. It's better than perfect. Kaunaki gave you 2015 vision. That's right. So don't add... Then my vision's too good, Mike. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't you add a word, buddy. And I'm seeing things that aren't there. Go ahead. Get back to it. Okay. Where am I? Specifically Hopkinen, a suburb of Boston. Growing up, I always loved the Red Sox and Patriots. And Celtics. Rob. Rob. I'm sorry. I'm not kidding. What part? I'm not kidding. Don't add anything. Do not understand. Rob. Oh, I'm not kidding. I'm just getting that. Eddie, I don't want him adding anything. Can I punch him every time he says something bad? No, please. My hands are so small. Oh, dude. I want you. If he does that again, I'm going to tell you when he's adding to it. Right from the script. Here we go. Do not. No more slipping up. Do not. Learn my lesson. Do not add one word to that. Go ahead. I believe in superstition. I want to say that again. I believe in superstition. This is making me so upset. I think it is important to note that because what I'm about to say is just not a good idea, forced or not. In fact, I grew up with many guys that I respect back in mass who would never do what I'm about to do joking around and not. That's just... I need a breath. And true.
Many of those men would see my act of reading this letter as... What's that word? I don't know that word. Oh, yeah, you do. Cowardice. You know what it is. Cowardice. Why is he doing this? How do you pronounce it? What do you mean? Hit him in the arm. Do you want to say the word that? What is it? An act of what? Cowardice. I'm sorry. I don't know that word. There's plenty more where that came from, buddy. I don't know the wrong word. I don't know it. But oh well. Hammer fist. We're moving on. Continuing on. It's an act of cowardice. It's an act of cowardice. Oh. An act of cowardice. I'm going to have to look that up later. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, well, now you know how to pronounce it, so say it. Oh, I got to say it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Say it again, Rob. This time you know what the word is. It's cowardice? Yeah. Is that correct? Read the sentence French. Oh, we need to hear the full sentence. Yeah. Oh, my God. You know about those guys back, your friends back in Massachusetts, right?
You know, the good fans. Yeah. The good fans? Yeah, Rob. How dare you say that? Come on, Rob. How dare you? Come on, read it again. Hurry up. Let me hear that sentence again. Let me hear that sentence again. Hey, stick to your blog. Come on. Yeah, read from your blog, Rob. Read from your personal blog. These are not my thoughts. These are such a hothead. I'm not a hothead. Read it again. Blog on. The whole sentence or just that? Whole sentence. Many of those men would see my act of reading this letter as... Cowardice. I don't know what that is. But oh well. Not really oh well. Forgive me. I need forgiveness. This is tough to read. I don't want to read this. Don't you yell at me. You're the guy who didn't want to. I'm sorry. I'm taking it out on you. I shouldn't be. I love this. I gotta tell you. This is like bread to me. Like I'm sopping this up. Hurry up. I don't want to.
This is ridiculous. The pats and socks are important to me. Mikey has some stuff that's important to him, so he would never read what I'm about to read. You're a jerk! You're a jerk! That's the truth. It doesn't say you're a jerk, but what he said is true. I have some things that are important to me. I would never read a letter saying bad things about the things I love. on your plate. No, go ahead, Rob. He is bright red right now. Like, Rob is like a tomato. I'm gonna pass out. He's like a tomato. He's like a tomato. I'm not a hothead. You clearly are. He's freaky. You're screaming at everyone. Go ahead, Rob. Come on. My blood is boiling. Go ahead, Rob. Oh, my gosh. Calm down. He knows what's up. Anyhow. Here it is. Here it is. I feel like I'm gonna throw up. Anyhow, what? This is such bad karma. Whoever wrote this. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, do not prep this. Rob, we're going to make a deal right now. What's the deal? Let's make a deal. From this point on, you are only allowed to speak the words of what you are reading. You are not allowed to say you don't like it. That doesn't sound like a deal. Excuse me? You are not allowed to say you don't like it. You are not allowed to editorialize. You are not allowed to say anything but what you are reading. Mike. No, Rob. I don't think you know what deal means. Rob.
I'm just saying. I don't think you know what deal means. I know what deal means. He has a good point. Here's the thing. You cannot. You cannot. So then what does he get? There's no deal. It's a mandate. Let's not make a deal. It is a mandate. You must not say any other words. I'm going to try my best. Hey. Do not. Do not. Do not. You must stick to the words your eyes see. I'm looking at him right now in a New England Patriots t-shirt and a New England Patriots little beanie cap. You must only read those words. You cannot say words other than what you are looking at. What if I flop? Period. No, Rob. Come on, man. No, Rob. Get it together. You already got a charley horse on arms you worked out on yesterday all day. And Eddie will apply pressure. With his hammered fists. That is right. With extreme prejudice, as they say in Apocalypse Now. Thank you. Yes. Do it. That's the last word that's your own. Okay, back home. Last word. I'm officially putting a...
You do not act like that. Eddie, do not act like that. None of that. We're going to start this right now, and you're not going to screw up any words. You know exactly what this says. You're right. Every word that you screw up or mess up on purpose will dock you $100 pay. Okay. Here we go. Thank you, Eddie. Well done. I'm officially putting a hex on the New England Patriots. Yes! Officially? Yes! I hope they lose on Sunday. I wish upon them a loss. I am hereby willing Tom Brady to throw more interceptions than he has ever in a game his entire career. This is awful. Sure, I hope next season he bounces back. But this Sunday...
Against the charges, I hope for the most monumental implosion of a quarterback in NFL history. Why are you saying these things about your favorite player, Rob? Go ahead, Rob. What else do you think? You're a bad fan. Oh, you're a bad person. Go ahead, Rob. Remember, you can't say a word. Can't say a word, Rob. Go ahead, Rob. Keep reading from your blog. Keep reading from your blog so that when you're finished, we can take this audio and send it to WFAA. Oh! Go ahead, Rob. Keep reading. Do not say another word, Rob. Accept what's on that page. I hope that Randy Moss is out of sync with Brady. I hope that the Charger defense has a plan that will confuse Brady. I hope that Antonio Cromartie sets a record for postseason interceptions in a game. Me too. That would be great, Rob. put it together, suffer early turnovers, and are not able to mentally recover. Wow! Who would say that about their own team? A bad fan. That's crazy. Sounds like your Charger Rob. Go ahead, Rob. 619 Rob. Come on, Rob. I hope that the Charger offense is firing on all cylinders and that the Pats defense begins.
to show its age at precisely the wrong time. I am hereby stating that at the end of the game, I want the TV cameras to show the deflated faces of wet-haired patriots on the sidelines with their heads down. Yes! I love it! Standing up. He's standing up. How can you tell? I can't. No way. Come on, Rob. I also hope that I see Chad and players on the sideline laughing, hugging, and pouring ice-cold Gatorade all over Noah to turn his head as Philip Rivers kneels on the ball in the final second of the game. Oh, my gosh. He's going to pick out. Look at the vein in his forehead. Oh, dude. He's beet red right now. And you know that big vein that everybody has in their forehead? That hurts to look at. It's bulging out. And his neck veins are bulging. Oh, I wish Seth was in here to take a picture of this. This is crazy. He is... He is physically shaken by the experience. This is wonderful. Again, I hereby wish that the New England Patriots lose the game this weekend. Go Chargers. That's erroneous. Yes! You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. You're a bat fan. That was unbelievable. You hate the Patriots, Rob. You hate the Patriots so much. That's terrible. Mighty Show.
This is William Shatner, and you're listening to The Mikey Show. Featuring my good friend Sean, and from what I've heard, he's seen every episode of Star Trek. Standing up. Hey, Sean. Okay, team. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it.
They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector. So it was really cool. And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Curti Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on Costco mattresses. The sleep chain was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something. So they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? You know, overall, not a bad ride for a Friday, but you will find some hot spots out here. There's this one accident still wrapping up in the West 78 on that transition ramp to South Pound 5 on Oceanside. So watch for a bit of a delay around that. As you head your way down the coastline, you've got the usual stuff here on South Pond 5 out of Encinitas in the Solana Beach. South 15 hasn't been too bad this morning. A brief delay around Felicita. A few more break nights in the Ranch in Bernardo. Minor delay through Carmel Mountain Ranch. Nothing quite too serious this morning, actually, here. The Westbound 52. Watch for a bit of a slowdown coming out of Santee now as you head up the top of the summit there. The Westbound 8, looking pretty good. Just a brief delay at Lake Murray. Then you're on your way into Mission Valley. Your 94 King Freeway commute.
Now slows from Kelton to the 8.05 as you make that northbound transition. And the 5 and 8.05 northbound out of the South Bay aren't too bad. The 5 being the worst of it up to National City. 8.05 getting heavier through North Park and then still quite tough out of Courtney Mesa over to 52. Down with Lawrence on Rock 105.3. The Chargers will rush in on Peyton Manning. Here comes Phillips. Can't get there. The pass is up in the air. Incomplete. And two lucky P1s are going to join them. We're live on the frozen tundra of the Rock 105. 353 parking lot, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Stop by. Where the only thing standing between two lucky winners and the AFC Championship game on Sunday is a big stinking vat of new clam chowder. Here now to Arnage. Let's hear it from the most rabid fans in San Diego. I am telling you, I am telling you, we got people out here.
We got a lot of people out here. That's what I'm talking about. So cool. Let me tell you something. This is going to be one incredible event. Basically what we're doing is we are having people get into a vat of New England clam chowder to find a pair of tickets. One of you people standing here right now is going to New England. Oh my gosh. One of you is going to be at the game rooting the Chargers on to a victory, including Boston Rob. He just proved to us all. No, no, no, no. He's a big Charger fan. I heard it. Charger Rob. I heard it. Yeah. That's right. I mean, basically... Basically, Charger Rob has jinxed his team. And a guy read from a piece of paper words we never expected to hear from him. But here we are with hundreds of P1s behind the radio station. We are looking at an outdoor, above-ground, blow-up swimming pool. That's awesome. It's gross. Filled with disgusting clam chowder. And we are going to have...
A man and a woman participate in a drawing. We're going to pull out a name for the guys, pull out a name for the girls. The guy that's chosen and the girl that's chosen will jump into that vat of New England clam chowder, and they will find the tickets that will send them to New England this weekend. Now, does it look kind of foamy to you? Why? I mean, that's just so disgusting. I can tell you what that is. That is so disgusting. Because we're dealing with as much... clam chowder as we are, we've had to use some water to mix it with. And what's happened is it's congealed. Oh my gosh, that's so gross. That is disgusting. That is so gross. It looks like oatmeal. Sky, how much to take a bite? Not enough money in the world, dude. I'm sorry, no. Sean, how much to take a bite after the competition? After they get out. Okay, so what we're going to do is, first of all, Make noise if you are participating. I want to hear. That is just the participants. I see a lot of Speedos, Mike. Unfortunately. Rob walks up to me. He goes, hey, Mike, did you see the guy standing up there in just a black Speedo and black boots? And I started laughing. I go, yeah, I saw him. He goes, he actually doesn't know what's going on. He just wanted to stop by. He just showed up today. Oh, that's weird. He wasn't listening. He just wanted to see what the commotion was about.
So basically what we are going to do is we're going to draw those names. They're going to get in there and they're going to find their tickets. And there is a lot of people that are here to just be spectators today. Heck yeah. And I'm telling you, and we got the P1 Army is out here with signs. P1 Army is out here with signs. We see a sign that says Clam It Up on one side. Nice. Another sign that says Brady is a beating and he loves the Yankees, which is true. That is a fact. I've heard that. Which is a fact and it is true. That's on the board. Now, I have never seen so many guys wearing robes. This is awkward. So many women wearing robes. It really is. The thing that's great is the different kinds of robes that you see. Reminds me of the bathhouse. That's true. Eddie, why'd you got it? Please, Eddie. Please. I mean, really. I know you'll like him. I love him. Okay. Of course, back in those days, the robe only stayed on for a moment. Can we focus on what's going on right now, please? Let's see. I hear Eddie's voice, but where is he? I'm broadcasting live!
From the scene of the clam chowder. That's right. I am standing in front of the vat of disgustingness. Yes, you are. And I have a couple of people here who are in robes. You two come step forward, please. There we go. Oh, they're so cute. Looks like they are competing. Man and a woman. What is your name, sir? P1 Jackie Treehorn. Jackie Treehorn. And what is your name, ma'am? P1 Ariella. And we'll just see about that treehorn, all right? Now, I'm guessing you guys are a couple. You're here together. Brother, sister. Brother, brother, sister. Look at this. Holy cow. Eddie, get that guy over. Get that guy over. Come back over here. Oh, look at that guy. He's got on full on. He's wearing a blue Speedo. Blue Speedo. He's painted his body in gold. He's got Chargers written across his chest. He has got a Rock 105.3 Chargers sticker on his belly. And he is ready to go. Yeah, Mikey, it's really cold out here. It looks like he's got two belly buttons. He turned around and showed us more than we needed to know. Both those belly buttons look like innies, too. Okay. All right. Well, so let's talk to the brother and sister duo again. Let's get them over.
Yeah, the respectable one. So basically, now I'm guessing the reason that you guys came together is you're thinking to yourself, well, if we come as brother and sister, it makes our chances even higher, right? Is that the deal? That's exactly right. But I don't know if she's going to be taking me if she wins the ticket. What? You know, I like coming from the underdog position. I'm ready to dominate. All right. And that's what she said. Well, that is what she said. My fiance, Brad. And who would the guy bring? be my father. He is a Charger fan, so I just want to make Eddie proud. Your fiancé could be your father? No, no, no. I don't get that. I don't understand that either. That's odd. And how about the fella, Eddie? Who's he going to take? Who are you going to bring? Wifey. The wifey. The wifey. That's nice. By default, wifey. But number two would be the old man. By default. Do you want to stay married? I mean, priority. Priority. Otherwise, he's going to get a beating for sure. Yeah. All right. Here's what we're going to do. Let's go ahead. We're going to draw the names for the guy. Oh, my God. We're going to draw the names for the girl. And then after we draw the names. Now, wait a minute. Here's what I want to do before we draw the names. Here's what I want to do. Yeah. Let's get every guy. We need to kind of make a path here. We need every guy on this side on the left. We need every girl on that side on the right that is participating. Yeah. So if you're participating, come down here right now. If you're not.
I need you to move away and kind of move to the side. Wow, it's like a sea of people moving around here. It is. This is crazy. We're getting all of the people, all of the people that are participating, all guys on one side, all guys to the left, all girls to the right. Come on. Look at this. And we just got a maze of people. Dude, this is nuts right now. Moving throughout. Now, this is what we've said. Guys must be, in order to be eligible, guys must be wearing a Speedo. Right. Yes. That's right. Girls must be, and guys, if you can, try to form a single file line. Moving back. Good luck. Moving back. That line would go all the way to TJ Mike. Well, try to form a line, guys, because we've got to get it on TV. Ladies, try to form a line if you can. Please, try to form a line. And what we're going to do is guys must be, in order for them to qualify, you must be wearing a Speedo, guys. Ladies, you must be wearing a bikini. Can you please? Oh, no. Okay. Okay. Big Al Kahuna is here. Boston Rob's brother. Big Al Kahuna just took off a pair of briefs to reveal his Speedo underneath. Oh, no. He's ready to go. I really didn't need to see the pierced nipple. Okay. You don't need to show me what's on the handle. There's a lot going on. I can't handle it. All right. Now that we have everybody, I need you to now.
Get into your Speedos. Get into your bikinis. Do that now. Oh, yeah. Everybody is disrobing. I like how they're all freaking out because it's cold. I know. They're going to Boston. I know. I know it. It is. It is. So here they go. Everybody down to the Speedos. Sexy time. Down to the bikinis. Hey, Skye. Look at those raisin smugglers right there. Okay. I don't need to see that. I mean, I'm good. We are seeing goosebumps like you wouldn't believe. Look at this guy. He has a cell phone clip He's texting friends for directions. Where is it? All right, so guys, get down into the Speedo. Ladies, get into your bikinis. Let me tell you something. There are Patriot fans here today. There's a girl in a Charger bikini. Somebody has I Love B-Rob on it. What's the matter with you? Let me tell you. Thank you, sir. Let me tell you something. These people are out here craving these temperatures. It is cold out here right now. These are true fans, man. Let me tell you, I am freezing myself. I love this so much. All right, do we have the guys down there? Just look at that guy right there. Just tell what religion he is. Oh, my God. Hey, Eddie. Inappropriate. Oh, my God.
Into your speedos, into your bikinis. Come on. Do we have everybody? Is everybody over? Ladies, guys, we need you to hurry as fast as you can. Get in the line, ladies. Get in the line, guys. I think everybody's ready. That guy's speedo is like a little tuxedo. I don't know what that's about. He's dancing. He shouldn't be. He's a gentleman. What do you mean? My bad. We now have one of those for the wedding. We now have all the girls in their bikinis. We now have all the guys in their Speedos. Wow. This is so nuts. This is crazy. Love it. All right. It is now time. Oh, my gosh. It is now time for us to draw the names. Oh, man. If your name is drawn, you are participating this morning. If your name is not drawn. You are not participating, but we do invite you to stick around and watch the madness. Oh, please. All right, so where is the stuff? Okay, so here it is. This is the guys. Yeah, we got a guys box and a girls. All right, this is the guys box. I am now reaching in and drawing a name for the guys. Oh, dude. Oh, my gosh. I'm freaking out. The suspense. I'm freaking out. All right. The guy that will be participating is Joseph Amaviska.
Amavisca. Amavisca. Joseph Amavisca. Are you here? Joseph, are you here? He's coming. He's coming up here. He's over there. Okay, he's way in the back. He's coming over here. He's coming. He looks nervous. Joseph Amavisca. Is that you, Joseph? Back here. Back here. Come back here. Oh, he looks cold. Let's hear it for Joseph. You cutie. Let's hear it for Joseph. I'll keep you. That's who's warming him up. That's awkward. Joseph, let me ask you. It's okay, Harry. Let me ask you. You hold the microphone to his mouth, Ashley. Let me ask you, Joseph. Are you happy right now that you're going to be participating? Yes, I am. Are you able to go to New England this weekend? Yeah. You've asked your boss for time off. I'm not. I'm in school right now. Okay, cool. So you can go. You're good to go. Are you cold? Yeah. All right. We know. Are you ready? Are you ready to get into clam chowder? This is so creepy. Do you think that the ladies wish that I was hurrying up? Yeah. We got a couple more minutes we can wait.
Hey, Eddie. All right, now. I'm going to make sure the temperature's right on the clap chatter. All right. Stop it. Just stop it. Now, where is the ladies? Where's the ladies? Right there, Mike. Right next to you. Right next to you. Here we go. Here we go. All right. Oh, come on, ladies. All right, ladies. Here we go. Cross your fingers for your name to be drawn. Hundreds of fans standing behind the radio station watching right now. Half naked. For the chance to compete to go to New England. I have a name. Oh. The name is. Jessica Watson. Jessica Watson. Jessica. Come on up, Jessica. Come on up, Jessica. Come over here. All the ladies rushing to put their clothes back on. Hey, I'm back. All the ladies are rushing to put their clothes back on. I got more clam powder. All right, Jessica. Jessica, hold the microphone up to Jessica. Jessica, how old are you? 24. 24 years old. Now, if you win, who will you take?
My husband. Now, is your husband here today? No, he's on his way to work. Okay, cool. So he probably can hear it right now, and he's probably freaking out. And you are prepared to go to New England this weekend. You guys have the time. You can do it. Yes. Ashley is rubbing her arm, trying to warm her up. I feel so bad. She's freezing. You know what? I feel better without clothes on than with clothes on. Okay, well done. Me too. Here's what we're going to do. Not me. Here's what we're going to do. We are going to take a quick timeout, and when we come back, these people are getting into a Vatican chowder. Go anywhere. It's the Mikey Show. It's Rock 105.3. Join the P1 Text Army. Text Mikey to 35253. Standard rate supply. P1 Text Army. Pretty big bloke. So let me ask you, are you seriously afraid of mice? Yeah, okay, simple yes or no would suffice. Right, anyhow, here's the deal. Geico's teaming up with the association of zoos and aquariums. Yes, it is exciting. And you're very loud. I mean, my ears are literally ringing. Bells. In my head. Anyway, I'm going to be making rounds at a whole bunch of zoos. I'm getting a word out about wildlife conservation. That did it. I'm a little deaf in this ear now. My point is, Geico helps people save money on car insurance, but now we're helping save wildlife too.

A trip for two to Foxborough. to see the chargers and the patriots this sunday penalty on the field a giant bat of clam chowder this is a special afc championship edition of the mikey show here again mikey let's hear it from the flagship of the san diego chargers rock 105.3 make some noise oh yeah we got a lot of spectators out here right now to see something pretty strange
Let me get you over here. Where's the guy that's participating? Right behind each other. Right behind me. Hey, bro, come here. Come here. All right, it's time to get down to the Speedo. These are our participants. Oh, man. We got a guy and we got a girl. They got goggles. Put your goggles on, please. Oh, my gosh. Sexy. Goggles are on. They are about to go over to a vat of clam chowder. How do you feel before the competition? I feel good. Really good. You feeling cold? Yeah. How about you? How are you feeling? I feel great. Yes. You guys ready to get this over with? Is there any sort of strategy that they've thought ahead of time or what? I just pretty much feel around, you know? You don't have any idea where you're going to start once you get in there? Maybe get some sourdough bread. Will you begin on the sides or in the middle? I think I'm going to start on the side and then work my way towards the middle. Not bad. That's what she said. All right. Let's get this thing going. All right, guys. We need you to get over. And take your positions on each. So we need a guy on one side and a girl on the other. Clam it up. Guy on one side, girl on the other. They're getting over. They're getting into positions. I got to get over there. I can't see. We need you on opposite sides. And I wonder how... Now, Eddie, you're going to have to call it, okay? All right, let me get in here. You're going to have to call the action. I never thought I would do play-by-play on clam chowder diving. All right. You did it? Now, let me tell you something.
I have to say the rules before we begin. All right, listen up to the rules. Before we begin, here are the rules. The first person to find the tickets is the winner. If you both grab onto the tickets at the same time, there will be a coin toss to determine the winner. I want to state the rules before we begin. Are you ready? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Share them on, guys. Share them on. Come on, make some noise here. Get after it. Get after it. They dove in. They're splashing around. Clam Chowder's going everywhere, guys. Oh, it's so gross. It doesn't look like there's any real strategy. They're just splashing around. This is so gross. I wish I could see. I can't see anything. I just see Clam Chowder flying. They're all the way in it. Oh, wow. They haven't been able to find anything yet. Are they full of... clam chowder juice themselves? Is it all over their hair? It's getting all over the people in the front row. I'm going in there. Go Mike. It seems like they were able to get a lot of potatoes but that's about it. Look out guys. Let me get in here. This is so gross. I guarantee you they're in there. We're seeing a lot of behind.
Now we're seeing way more front than we need to see. That is so disgusting. That was just a guy having fun. Just keep going. They tried to stop. They thought it was over. No, keep digging, guys. Keep looking. They're digging around. Oh, gosh, does that stuff stink? Mikey, doesn't it look more appetizing as they stir it? Oh, you know, it actually does. No way. As it gets moved around, I'm thinking maybe we put some Tabasco in there and get it on. Ooh, that sounds delicious. Yeah. Where are those tickets? Does anyone have any oyster crackers? What are you talking about? They are just viciously, viciously digging around. They are ferocious. They are splashing. They're looking, where could these tickets be? Where could these tickets be? It looks like a combination of, well, if I'm being honest, vomit and milk. Okay, Mike. They are digging. They are fiercely. Now they've worked the sides. Oh, man. Then they worked their way back inward. Now they're going out to the side of the pool of the clam chowder to try to see if maybe the tickets are on the outside. They're wiping with their hands. They're sweeping. The grossest part is when they grab chunks of this stuff. Oh, no. Thinking they got the tickets. No. They haven't found them yet. Oh, they're splashing clam chowder all over the place. This is stinky. This is stinky.
Our promotion guy was filming and got a lens full of clam chowder. They're searching. They're looking. They have goggles on. Yeah, utilize the goggles. I mean, for goodness sake. Are you guys messing with them? Are there really tickets in there? They've been pretty fair about trying to give each other space. They're all working their own agenda, meaning they're in their own area of the pool. Where could these tickets be? Where could they be? Come on. They're searching. Wow. They're searching. This is tough. They're there. Trust me, they're there. Come on, P1s. It's going to be a huge trip. Now, there is no time limit. We could be doing this until 8 o'clock tonight. I thought this was going to be over in like 10 seconds. Hopefully, they find them soon. Now, let me ask you. Smashley from Promotions is in here. Are they basically looking for some kind of Ziploc bag? What's the deal? It's a laminated sheet that's about ticket size. A laminated sheet that's about ticket size. Okay. That gives you guys a better idea of what you're feeling and looking for. Oh, that's tough. They are laminated so they don't get wet by the clam chowder. What you're listening to right now are two contestants, a guy and a girl, inside of a pool of clam chowder, digging around, trying to find tickets to the AFC Championship game. Oh, man. Go ahead, ask. Is it floating, Smashley?
Smash, she says, I don't know. I don't know if it's floating. I don't know if it's, it could be floating. It could be floating. They're looking around. It is in there. It is in there. Oh, and it's so cold out. Keep looking, guys. Keep looking. Come on. They're searching. They're in the corners. They're not, I don't know. I don't know. Smash, go ahead and you can answer that question. Is it taped? Originally it was. At this point, I would not be surprised if they've scraped it to the surface. Originally it was taped, guys. Now it's probably been scratched to the surface. Start working the bottoms. Feel. Go into the middle. Explore every area of that pool. Use the space. Explore every space. Start to do a sweeping motion from side to side to explore. No, there they go. They're going in the middle. They think it might be in the middle. We're moving back. They're splashing all over. Somebody thought they saw something, which made the splashing begin. And people move to the side. Something may be floating. They're now looking for something that may be floating in the pool. They're all reaching down into the middle. Where could it be? Is it down on the bottom? Is it the middle of the pool? Is it on the side of the pool? Where are these tickets? Where?
Where are my midgets? Wait, that doesn't make sense. Okay. I wish this would end. We never thought it would go on this long. No, not at all. Not at all. Come on. They are still searching ferociously. Where is Jay? Jay, can you give them any hints? What can they do? Jay said originally it was in this area, guys. Originally it was in this area. There you go, on the bottom. It was originally taped to the bottom in that area. Search. Search. They know the original location. They are now searching the original location. Where could these tickets be? Eddie? Yeah. Any advice? I would say find the tickets. Oh, wow. Please. Well, this went well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would be scraping the bottom. No, let me tell you. Go ahead. Go ahead. I could start letting the fluid out of the pool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, wait. Is that going to get all over the line? Oh, Jay. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me ask the participants. If you guys cannot find these tickets, if you guys cannot, listen to me, stop looking. If you guys cannot find these tickets in 60 seconds, and it's up to you, I will give you both. You both have to agree.
Are you willing to go to a coin toss if you can't find it in 60 seconds? Neither of them want to. They want to keep looking until they find them. Start going. Start looking, guys. Neither of them want a coin toss. They want to keep looking. They are now searching on the bottom of this thing. They're scraping. They're looking. They're searching. Where could these tickets be? Oh, my God. Where could these tickets be? Now, remember, they could have moved. They could have moved. They could be on any side of the pool. They're searching. They're looking. Please. We only have till 10. Come on. The audience is getting restless. I'm restless. The host is getting restless. Oh, man. What? It's garbage. It is garbage. Get in there. Where are they? They've got chunks of clams all over them. This is crazy. They've got big clumps of congealed fat and New England clam chowder on their faces, their backs, and their hair. Please. They've both taken... They've both taken... What are you asking? It was originally taped. It was originally taped. So maybe now, by you guys moving around, they have floated to the surface. That is so gross. I couldn't be happier. Please. And another one of the greatest upsets in clam chowder history. What are you talking about today? Clam chowder history? What do you mean? I don't know what that... Oh, that's so gross. Oh, my. Here they come. Okay, come around. We've got the winner right here.
I feel so bad for this girl. Come closer to me. State your name and age, please. I'm Joseph. I'm 18. Joseph, congratulations. You found the tickets. How do you feel right now? Good. I feel really, really, really, really good. You are going to New England, my friend, this weekend. I want you to turn to the camera on NBC739. Let them know how happy you are. Thank you. He's getting clam sauce everywhere. He's getting clam sauce everywhere. Please. Make some noise for yourself, P-Wans. Inside the studios next. Oh, wait a minute. No, next is Boston Rob. Don't leave, P-Wans. Don't leave, you guys. Boston Rob is going to get egged by you next. Hell yeah. We are egging a patriot next. Don't go away. It's Rock 105.3. This is The Mikey Show. You said all those terrible things about your Patriots this morning. Here you are dressed as a Patriot. Boston Rob completely in Patriot garb right now. And he is standing in front of the San Diego Chargers rock station banner.
It's a big cardboard banner behind him. And he is about to be paintballed and egged by you, the P1s. I love it. Out here in this disgusting mess. It's muddy. It's filthy. It's dirty. There are tons of P1s here. to take part in what we're about to do. Oh, my gosh. And I'm telling you, Boston Rob looks as ridiculous as I've ever seen him. And I saw him with dreads. Yeah, that's true. That's a good point. Eddie, where are you, Eddie? I'm over here by the tent. Hey, dude, let's get Eddie over here, too, because Eddie and I are going to fire paintball guns. Oh, no. Eddie and I are going to fire paintball guns, and the P1s, we need to have somebody bring the eggs over. Oh, they got them. They're passing them out. All right, P1s, you got eggs? You got eggs? Good? So, Mike, what is this outfit about? We're going to do this in brigade form. All right? That's right. Wow. It's kind of like in 300, they go arrows first, right? Yeah.
Eddie is standing over here with me. Eddie, what do you think? I know. What is he wearing? First of all, I would have to just say that that is the stupidest looking patriot I've ever seen in my life. Thank you. I don't even know what that is. You look gayer than Tom Brady. Wow. Wow. That's hard to do. What we got is Boston Rob in just picture. What do you think? Remember the Patriot that used to be on the helmet for the New England Patriots? Old Colonial. That's exactly what he looks like right now. Only he's wearing a protective mask over his face because we're going to be paintballing the heck out of it. Eddie, I'm going to have you hold the microphone. Oh my gosh. This is so nuts right now. Rob is going to get tagged. I do too. Oh no. What are they saying? What's going on over there? I can't see. There's too many people. This is crazy. Everybody has their eggs. They're all painted yellow and blue or gold and blue. Pardon me. Pardon me. This is like the awesomest day ever. Clear the way. Clear the way. Yeah, watch out. Make a little path here. Paintballs are going to be coming through there, people. Come on, people. You don't want to be tagged with a paintball in that range. Don't hold back. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Hey, Rob, any last words? Go Patriots. Oh, you son of a... He did not. He did not.
He did not. They started throwing eggs already. Oh, yeah. We're not ready yet. We're not ready yet. I know he's asking for it. Everyone's throwing. And all. Right. Now, on. Listen. On my command. Wait, but the. Egg throws. Up and throw. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Rob. Oh, my gosh. Is being pelted by what looks like hundreds of eggs. Come and reach. Hundreds of eggs. Come and reload. Holy cow. Come on. Get him. Come on. Dude, he is 100% drenched in eggs. This is so crazy. Be careful. It's an onslaught. Dude, they're wailing. It's an onslaught. They're wailing on him. Oh, my gosh. Egg after egg after egg is getting robbed. Oh, my gosh. Please. He is being pelted right now. This is so nuts. Massive amounts of raw eggs. This is crazy. Oh, this is so nuts. P1s are just going to get an egg.
out of a crate and take a throw. I have never seen a guy so completely covered in eggs. He looks like he's ready to be robbed French toast. Well, he kind of deserves it. I mean, if we're being honest. Dude, Eddie's going for it. There goes Eddie. Eddie got him. Oh, my. Oh, my gosh. He's being assaulted with me. This is the worst. It hasn't stopped. From the time I said... From the time I said to fire till now, they are still throwing eggs. There goes his hat. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. This is so nuts. It fell off. Oh, no. Dude, do you hear the... Okay. Okay. Halt. Halt. Halt. Halt. Halt. Cease fire. Stop throwing. Cease fire. That was crazy. Look at it. I need to watch that video back. Do you still think he's going to say go Patriots? Dude. Oh, my gosh. Stop firing. Stop firing. No more eggs. Oh, my gosh. That was awesome. Now the second part. Everybody move to the side. Move to the side, please. Look at him. Move to the side. We're now clearing a clear path. We're now clearing a clear path. Here, somebody. Zeth, hold the mic. His mouth's full of eggs. Now clear the path. Eddie, this is the craziest thing I've ever seen. Ever. Ever. He looks like he's been sprayed with a fire hose. Of eggs. And it's all. It is all eggs. Oh, my gosh. Unbelievable. All right. Are we ready? Oh, my gosh.
Are we ready to begin? Holy moly. I am being handed a paintball, and the paintball has Charger Blue paint in it. Of course. Of course it does. Boston Rob is about to be fired upon. That looks scary. Now, I would say that I'm approximately 50 yards away from Boston Rob. Oh, man. Stop throwing eggs at him. Eggshell. There's eggshell hanging. Jay is working on... the paint gun. Uh-oh. That's going to leave a mark. That's not cool. You know, it hurts, but it feels so good. I don't know about that, Sky. Yeah, I don't think it feels so good this time. I don't think so either. All right, Rob, do you have anything to say before we open fire? He can't even talk. He's got so much ache. He's a little upset. Are you ready, Rob? He's like spitting it out. No, he says no. Here we go. Oh, my God.
Watch out for the privates. A direct hit. Yeah. One more. That was a miss. So you get another shot. You get another shot. It's the rules. Oh, that one hurt. That one definitely hurt. You can tell. You hit the board. Oh, that was loud. It's like Grady DeMoss. Another miss. Right between his legs. Are you aiming for his balls? I am not. You were aiming for him. I am not aiming for his testicles. Come on. Please, Mike. Please. How do you aim this thing? Oh, come on, Mike. Figure it out. I got to do a barrage. Eddie, here. Give him a barrage. Oh, my God. Eddie's got the gun now. And this is not good. The privates were hit. You can put it on the ball. Ladies and gentlemen, you have just experienced the Charger gauntlet. Let's hear it for you. Make some noise out here. He's going to win.

a little visit with lights out sean merriman sean how cool was it coming home to see 8 000 charger fans show up at charger park to cheer you guys on i thought it was more than that you know we came in and they said well we probably have to go a different direction to get into the chargers park and i said for what they said we might have 10 000 people out there waiting when we get back i said oh damn that's crazy so we got there and it was it was fans and they were showing love everywhere so it was great You know, I think the positive energy of a lot of people to bring that, especially the fans, you know, keep pushing us more and more to win these games. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. I had known I would have packed an extra pair of shoes and or clothing. Right? So gross. That was a mess out there and also one of the biggest, craziest events we've ever done in the history of the show. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to have clam chowder when I get home. I'm so hungry. Please don't know. That was tough to hear. Welcome back. It's 8-19. Osama Bin Laden's son says he wants to be a peace activist. Okay. Chargers are going to be taking on the Patriots this Sunday for the AFC Championship game. The weather is supposed to be 21 degrees. Oh, 21 degrees. It was cold out there. Oh, man. I'm telling you.
That was, I mean, what a spectacle. Unbelievable. When we looked around and we see all these guys in Speedos and all these girls in bikinis. It was just a spectacle. And you can watch it tonight on the news. And then later on MikeyShow.com. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll get it posted there too. Just unreal what we saw. I wonder if like... Sports chalets around town have stalled out of Speedos. Well, I did get some emails of people saying they were having a hard time finding a Speedo. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Because there were probably a hundred guys in Speedos. Yeah. I was just going to say, where's Rob? And then I realized. Oh, yeah. He's going to be a little while. Yeah, it might be a while. That barrage of aches. That was like nothing I've ever seen. I can't wait to see that on the news. Oh. Because I'm telling you. I didn't quite expect what happened. No. Because maybe it's just that I didn't realize how many P1s had eggs in their hand until they started throwing. And then it was just a C. Yeah.
It was like, remember in 300 when they blocked out the sun with the arrows? It totally was that. They blocked out the sun with eggs. It was like they were stoning him. It was. With eggs. It was. He looked like he was being, looked like he was ready to be made into French toast. Rob just ran past the window in his underwear. FYI. What? FYI. Oh my. You guys just missed him. Awesome. Yeah. Gray boxer briefs for the record. We don't care. He is a nut. Don't need to know that. So he had to get out of that soaking wet egg drenched Patriot outfit. Probably with some body parts now welted up and in a bit of pain. Dude, you nailed him right in the hand. Now imagine how cold our hands were. His hand, I'm worried about his hand. Yeah, because that was the only one of his body parts that wasn't actually covered in cloth or anything. Congratulations. That was a great shot. Eddie's last shot to the testicles. Thank you very much. Directly. It was a direct hit. I hope Sarissa didn't want children. Yeah, because it ain't going to happen now. Not after that shot. Welcome back to the show. That's crazy. We still got a full show to do for you, but I mean, I'm all...
Wound up. That was something else. I am all wound up after that. 5701053. How do we do a show now? I know it. That was crazy. I feel like we should have ended it all there because it was just so crazy what happened. But you'll be able to see all of this. Don't worry. We're going to put all of this online so you'll be able to see it. 5701053 is our phone number. If you participated or if you listened to it and you enjoyed it or whatever, give us a call and tell us your thoughts. That was intense. My hands are freezing, man. They're just starting to now warm back up. What are we complaining about? 21 degrees in New England. But at the same time, for us in San Diego, that was a pretty chilly morning. It's like about 40. It's in the 40s. I'm not sure exactly what, but it's pretty cold out there. So this is a 911 call from a 14-year-old teenager in Arizona who made this 911 call while his house was being robbed.
and eventually the burglar comes into where the boy is, and the boy attacks him with a baseball bat. Whoa. This is going to be awesome. Cut 11. 9-1-1 emergency. Okay, are you inside or outside? 14-year-old's got some rocks, man. Yeah. That's crazy. That was pretty unbelievable audio. Oh, my gosh. I wonder, was his parents not home? I guess not, man. He must have been there by himself. Smart kid. Smart? Well, he was hiding. He was... Calling 911. He's going to the cops. Now, he said he couldn't get out the window. Now, here's the deal. In a lot of homes in Arizona, I mean, in a lot of them, in our house when we were in Arizona, we had bars over the window. And I can't even remember why. But a lot of the houses there have bars over the window. And so, the first thing I thought when he said, I can't, I thought, I wonder why. I wonder if he's got bars over the window. Like when we lived in Yuma and a lot of people did.
Maybe he was on the second story. Yeah, if you're in a two-story house. Maybe that was a deal. But it sounds like he knew that guy was coming in there. He didn't scream to the guy, hey, I'm in here, blah, blah, blah, which usually you'd think of scare a robber away. Yeah. There was a big part of me thought, that kid was ready for that guy. Oh, yeah, dude. He was probably with his cell phone. And he's like, come on. With the baseball bat. And as soon as that guy showed up, pada boom. Wham. Booyakasha. Yeah. Your face. I think that what you hear is the burglar, like, screaming, you know. Stop hitting me. Now, did you hear somebody say, sorry, man? Yeah, I heard that. I'm sorry, man. Yeah, I bet it was the burglar. Sean, is there any way to go into the call a little bit and see if we could hear just that part? Yeah, yeah, give me one second. Yeah, because you hear, you know, the scuffle. And a 14-year-old kid's quick. A 14-year-old, it doesn't matter who you are. You're 14. You're pretty quick. he was able to get a couple of good how-do-you-do's in there before that guy even knew what hit him. My guess is it was bam, bam. Yeah, sure. Can you get out the window at all? Yeah, please, please. I bet all of it, the please, please and the sorry man were all the same guy. I heard take it easy, too. I bet it was a burglar. Please take it easy, sorry man. Wow. A baseball bat. Is that a kid? Man.
I want to know where Jay hit him. Where did he get it? Oof. I want to know, like, what was the deal? Were you home alone? Like, what were you thinking? Did you ever think, just hide? Yeah. You know, like, all those stuff, man. That's crazy. Best thing to do, get out of the house. Yep. Let them take your stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get out of the house. Call the cops. Don't lose your life. Yeah, because that kid was lucky. I mean, the burglar could have had a gun or a knife. I mean, you know. The next clip just says link to related news story. Do we know what that is, though, Sean? Oh, no, that shouldn't be in there. Okay, so there's no more on that, right? No, that's it. Let's take some phone calls. You can call about anything. You can call about this experience, what we did outside today. Oh, man. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, I just wanted to say that that kid was on the Today Show today. Really? He was the one that actually apologized to the guy that broke in. What? Because the guy took the bat away from him. Really? Yes, that's what he said on the Today Show today. Oh. He explained what happened. Yeah, that's dangerous. Did he just run? After, well, no, he said that the guy told him that he was going to kill him and that he heard the sirens and the guy ran after that once he heard the sirens and then the kid...
ran out of his window and heard the sirens too and ran around the corner to where he saw the cops. Really? Wow. Yeah. Well, then that kid is very, very lucky to be alive. Completely lucky. I mean, because they said if he hadn't, if that guy maybe hadn't heard the sirens, you know, who knows what he would have done to that kid because he had a rap sheet of breaking into houses. Oh. Yeah, and he don't want to get caught. Dude. That kid is very, so did the kid escape without a scratch? Yes, he did. That's great. Oh, my gosh. That's a lucky kid. Yeah. All right, thanks for the call. No problem. Now, we talked about it before. If that happens in the state of Texas, it's a whole other story. Oh, yeah. Texas is still the wild, wild west, y'all. They don't mess around. No. In the state of Texas, they call it the castle law. And what that means is that your house is your castle. And if somebody comes into the castle in the state of Texas, you have the right to kill them. And so people, citizens of Texas, they take advantage of that as much as they can. Right? They say, this is my castle, sir. They push people into their house. You're in my castle. Is it that George Bush mentality? What do you mean? Somebody comes into our house and we go...
Take them down? I got no problems with it militarily. Mikey Show. That was Scooby. That was P1 Scooby. Mikey Show. I know. Hey, what up, Mikey? Eddie hates it. Eddie gets, or Sean hates it. Sean gets really upset when the P1s, you know, that come in the studio when they start saying stuff. Well, they're like taking over. Oh, come on. Taking over. One thing for crying out loud. Mikey Show. Hey, what up? P1 Ponce. How are you guys doing? Good, man. What's up? Hey, the only thing that would have made what just happened to Boston Rob better is if he was a freaking Raiders fan. Did he say a bad word? Freaking up. Freaking. Look at Reiner's Fire. Yeah, I mean, I can... But not this week, dude. Seriously. It was awesome. That was the best thing I've ever heard on radio. You guys are awesome. Thank you very much. Mikey Show. Yeah, I just want to talk about that guy that won the clam chowder contest. Yes. I just want to say he's kind of gumpy, and I want to say that if I... How come you guys didn't let me take a picture with you guys? What does that mean, gumpy? Gumpy. What does that mean? Like Forrest Gumpy? Yeah. Oh, oh, oh. Well, he was quiet. I mean, what's wrong with being quiet? Is that what the deal was? He was quiet? Well, he was, like, soft-spoken. He was just, like, he didn't deserve to win the tickets, man. Bitter. Party of one. Did you participate, bro? Yes, I participated. I'm outside, actually. I wanted to take a picture with you guys with my Speedos, but...
I don't know what happened. We have a little show to do. I don't know what you're calling into right now. Well, dude, if you would have asked me if you could take a picture, I would have taken a picture with you. Nobody was purposefully not taking a picture with you. You're just bitter. You're just lashing out. Hey, listen, I understand you're hurt and that transfers as anger and you're upset and so you're mad. We hate you. You're kind of slamming your spoon up and down on the high chair right now. Kind of banging that spoon there on that high chair. Saying, hey, picture, gump. Gump, picture. Gump, picture, picture, gump. Clamp chowder. Me no win. Daddy, daddy, daddy. Me no win. No picture, daddy. Yeah, daddy, no picture. You no take picture, daddy. Nah, nah, nah. Me still here. Me still here outside, Daddy. Me want picture. Right now. All right. All right, guys. Thank you. Thank you very much. That was our good friend, P1 Gump. Mikey Show. Hey, on the story with the baseball bat. Uh-huh. When I was younger, my sister was babysitting us, and she stuck a putter right in a guy's eye that broke into our house. Get it.
Get out of here. Golfing putter and put it right in the guy's eye. And the guy ran out of the house while they caught him because he had to go to the hospital. Did she put the stick end of it or the putter part of it? The putter part. She swung it and it stuck right in his eye. Oh, my gosh. Nice shot. Awesome. Wow. It was pretty trippy. Do you know what became of the guy? Like, did you know what eventually ended up happening to that eye? He lost to die, and my sister had to testify against him, and he got, I think it was a seven-year cap. He got seven years in prison? Yeah, for a strong arm and everything else. Did your sister face any penalty at all? Oh, no, not at all. Very good. Did she keep the eyeball? Yeah. That's a hole in one. Hey, listen, she shouldn't have had to, you know, she was protecting herself. Of course. That's right. Thank you for the call. Boston Rob, just a return to the food. Oh, hey, Rizzy. Riz. Yo. So what? Talk to us about it. What was the experience? I got egg in my ear. I'm serious. My right ear, I can hardly hear. Wow. I've been trying to pop it. So what was it like? Describe the experience of the eggs. It was weird. I felt like it was back in the day when they put you out in the stocks. Yeah. Well, you're a colonial patriot. That's right. Yeah.
It was a little disturbing for a minute because they were coming from, like, the sides, too. And once I felt my hat get hit off and they were cracking on my head, it was like, the shells can actually be kind of sharp, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And, dude, I think it was Eddie that got me with that paintball gun. It tore the skin right next to the family jewels. Shut up. Eddie, you should be proud of that. Eddie is pumping his fist up in the air. I'm talking about millimeters away from doing something. serious damage. Dang it. But if that's all you Chargers fans got in your home, it doesn't matter. You already jinxed your team. Yeah, make sure you pull the audio of Rob. Edit out all the stuff where he was the extraneous. And then we'll just run back his audio of what he was saying about the Patriots. And that egg is like, it was so cold out there, the egg formed to my skin right away. Really? Some other radio station happened to have a big pool of water. They were using a dunk tank. It was freezing cold. I jumped in it to rinse off. Which I'm just starting to get feeling in my feet. Are you going to keep that Patriot outfit? Yeah, dude, for casual Fridays. Nice. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, go ahead. You're on the air. Yes, go ahead. You're on the air. I'm on the air? Oh, no. I would hang up on him. Mikey Show.
This is P1 Corman. What's up, man? Hey, just wondering where Beto was today. Right here, dude. He's always here. I'm always just sitting here. I was hoping to see Beto out there with his feet off. Oh, really, dude? I was hoping to see you in a dark alley. Hey, Beto, you're the one that's always claiming you got the big junk and all that stuff. That's all he means. Yeah, dude, you know what? One time I was at home smoking cocaine. And you were not, first of all. Hey! Dude, I rolled up all these big old fatty coke joints. That doesn't even make any sense. That's not how you do it. And I was all puff puff give. Yeah, you've heard that in here. And then all of a sudden, my palace alarm went off. Your palace? Yeah, my rots. You're what? My Rottweilers, bro. You're so stupid. You don't have Rottweilers. So my Rottweilers started going off. I mean, Bob has a chihuahua. Shut up, dude. Sprinkles. So then... Sprinkles died, bro. No, Sprinkles didn't die. I started the other day. And then I replaced her with a Rottweiler. One of the dog's names. Pansy.
Pansy? Pansy's the girl. And then the other one's name is Rock Hard. And my other Rottweiler's name is Balls. And then my other Rottweiler's name is Balls. Wait, I don't think that's what you... And then I have one named Assault and one named Battery. And so anyway, they started barking, dude. And I was all, oh, somebody's breaking in to my house. This guy's going to tell Nana. You're lying. And I heard a window open up. And I was all, come on, black dude. Come on, black dude. I can take you on, bro. I know you're breaking in my house. And so I ran around the corner and eight black dudes, bro. Eight of them? Really? That's crazy. And they were all like cut and everything with prison ink. And I was all, yeah, dude, I'll take all of you guys on. And they were like, no, bro, don't do it, don't do it. It's all eight of them. Yeah, well, one of them was tough and he came up and he's like, yeah, what, what, what? And I was all, yeah, right there, right there. And then I hit him.
And they all started crying, bro. I mean, you're 100 pounds. And I was like, yeah, you're just lucky I didn't get you all pregnant. So you're gay, Beto, is what you're saying. No, dude, it's not that I'm gay, but I was in prison and I had to do what I had to do. That may be true, but that's not right. I was like, I'll take you back to Folsom, dude. Folsom, really? You're going to be singing the Folsom behind blues. Okay. That's enough. Enough. We're going to tell Nana you're telling stories. Hey, do you want us to tell Nana you're telling stories? Nana smoked cocaine. Go feed Sprinkles. That's my nephew. He hangs out in the studio every once in a while. He acts like a fool. Ridiculous. Mikey Show. Hello. 570-1053 is the phone number. Mikey Show, hello. So, this is an interesting story. Some are saying that they believe that Britney Spears may have multiple personality disorder because of the speaking in an English accent, speaking as a southern girl, speaking in all these different voices. It's leading some people to believe that she may have personality disorder. What is that? Well, you have multiple personalities, so you switch from one personality to another, and sources who are close to Britney claim that she doesn't remember what the other personalities do. So that means that they could hurt somebody and she wouldn't know it.
If that was true. If that's what that personality is about. So some of the crazy stuff she does, they say the craziest of the personalities and the angriest of them is this British girl. Really? Yeah. Who knows? Dude, it wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't surprise me either. Anything could be possible these days with that girl. This is audio of Britney yelling at the paparazzi, telling paparazzi that they're sarcastic and rude. Cut 25. Pretty or hot, personally? So this kind of lends itself to something I was telling my wife. My wife and I had this conversation. We were watching. Have you guys seen on E? The it's like called the fall of Britney Spears or something like fall from grace called fall from grace. It's pretty interesting. It's like two hours long this thing on Britney Spears and Rebecca and I were watching it and I said. I really believe that Brittany has gone to a place. I said, I think that she's gone to a place where she doesn't care about herself anymore. And when people are taking pictures, it's not about, oh, I want the limelight anymore. My wife thinks that that's the reason she goes out in front of the cameras as much as she does.
And I said, you know, now I've thought about it a little while and I don't know that it's about, um, Hey, I'm glamorous. Take my picture. And, um, I've been glamorous all these years and I'm still, and she says, but that's where she's getting her like, uh, uh, what do you call it? Her fulfillment, her, her validation, her validation is from when she walks outside and they do. I said, you know, honey, I said, I, I don't think so. I said, I really suspect that it's that. she's given up that on her like her whole image of herself that she's completely given up and that when things like the crotch shot got out in the public there was a little part of her that kind of died because it was uh i believe that that was an accident and it was ugly it was an ugly photograph and i believe that it was uh embarrassing But embarrassing because it was on a worldwide level. It was embarrassing to a point that you and I can't understand. Because you and I have never had pictures, ugly, not attractive pictures, of our private parts put all over the world. Speak for yourself. So I think that when that happened, there was a part of her that gave up a little bit. Then, when she shaved her head and she was doing the umbrella dance on the Bronco,
those pictures, you guys remember those pictures, were the most unflattering pictures ever. And so I think that another part of her, then the picture of her when she was shaving the head and it looked kind of like a mohawk, you know, those pictures, I think that there have been very public things that have happened that have been so, imagine when you've been embarrassed the most you've ever been embarrassed. I think you have to multiply that times thousands and thousands. Millions. Millions. To understand the humiliation, the unbridled humiliation and loss of self-respect and loss of all these things that she's gone through as a result of not one, not two, but multiple images in her face of you're not very attractive that say that. I think that she is to a point now where I say this to my wife and it's just sad that I believe that she views herself as like the lowest garbage. Well, then there was the time when she was going to make her comeback on the VMAs where she thought she was going to look hot and sexy and she got railed for being a little chubby and all that stuff. So every step is just reinforcing
that she is not attractive. Now, I said the other day, when they were taking her out of the house and they were putting her in the ambulance, yeah, she was behaving crazy and everything, but her actual appearance, I've seen her look much worse, her actual appearance. Sure. In fact, we've seen her look terrible, but her actual appearance that night that she was being taken out with the long black hair, I said, wow, you know, she's still a pretty girl. She's pretty. Britney Spears. She's still pretty. And so there's no doubt in my mind that there are times today, last night, in the last couple weeks, where she's actually looked pretty. And listen to this clip again of what the guy, the guy says to her, you're hot. And I believe that he probably meant it. He probably meant that he thought she looked hot. Listen to her response. Cut 25. You guys are mean. Why are we mean?
You're sarcastic and it's rude. There is no part of her left that believes that anything about what they just said is true. And there's a time in her life where everyone was saying that and it was like, well, of course I am. I think it was like three years in a row that she got the number one hottest girl, you know, in the People magazine. It was four years in a row that she performed it via maze, knocked it out of the park. I mean, she was it. For like four years straight. Britney Spears was widely considered to be the sexiest woman alive. She was it, you know. The sexiest woman alive. And I think that now it's just gone to a point where there's no part of her left that believes that. There's just nothing, nothing left about it. Let's see. P1 James is on the line. Go ahead, James. How you doing this morning, Mikey? Good morning, sir. Morning. Hey, I was just listening to you guys talking about it, and I kind of have a theory that my girlfriend as well thinks that these gals kind of intended on doing that, sort of flashing themselves in the very beginning. You know, in a partying state of mind, maybe they didn't think it through proper, but like her and Lohan and a couple of the other gal pals there probably came up with the idea to like be, you know, sort of stick their nose in the face of the public persona or what have you, and therefore they came up with this theory to like...
flashed themselves. And I just think it just bubbled up and blew up in their faces in the long run. I think that that sounds very reasonable. That sounds very reasonable to me. It could have very well been a deal where they said, oh man, we are really going to turn it up. Like, we are going to set the world on fire. We are going to be the most scandalous bad girls ever. And everybody's going to take pictures. This is going to be crazy. I think that what Britney didn't anticipate... was people looking at those pictures and going put it up yeah i don't think she anticipated a worldwide sentiment of oh that's ugly gross she didn't i don't think that that was the expectation and so i think that these have been small little like oh no oh no oh no oh no you know And it's just kind of gone downhill from there. 570-1053, people calling in about the event that we did outside this morning. P1 Mark, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up, dude? I was just calling to let you guys know I'm the one that knocked that stupid Patriots hat off Rob's head. Nice. Good shot. Very nice. Highlight of my day so far and decent consolation for not winning those tickets. Very nice, dude. Thank you very much for calling. 570-1053 is our phone number.
So, you know, the kids that were attacked by the tiger, you know, one of those kids died, and toxicology reports are in. If your resolution is to lose weight in January, pass those fries and load up on the carbs. Welcome to Cal's. Can I take your order? Because your pal Cal has a much better diet plan. Well, how damn Cal worthy. Hey, how would you like to have a brand new 08 Dodge loaded, I mean loaded with everything you ever wanted, and get $7,000 cash back? Well, does that sound good? Just like a hot fudge sundae with a cherry on top. Trade me that old car. You'll pay it off. I'll pay it off. Watch me do a dance of the light on the showroom floor. And I'll send you home in a brand new 08 Dodge loaded and give you 7,000 cash. Hell, that's one fat cash back you're laying on the table. We gotta go back for seconds. Again, trade that old car. I'll pay it off. I'll send you home in a brand new 08 Dodge and give you 7,000 cash. And you thought you couldn't be fat and happy in 2008? Hey, hey, hey! Dodge headquarters. We're in Victor Dodge in the car country mall in Carlsbad. Open till midnight. Cashback offer of $7,000. Factory rebate applies to new 08 Dodge 1500 quad cabs on approved credit. I'm excited to bring Amco on as a sponsor. I'm excited to talk about them. Genuinely, because I went down there. Had a chance to meet with some of those guys that work on those cars. Got a chance to meet an actual owner of a local Amco. Ask a ton of questions and learn a lot.
And basically what I can come back and report to you is that they do transmissions, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, cooling systems. So if you're having a problem in your car, like a check engine light, don't go to the dealership, go to Amco. Because they don't want to fix something that isn't broke and you don't need an appointment. And they're going to look at it and diagnose it for free. Unlike if you make an appointment, which will probably be for a long time from now, with your dealership. And then when you finally get in there, they're going to charge you. And they're going to want to replace things instead of just fixing them. So my advice to you is to go into AMCO. It's AMCO. Double A. Beep, beep. MCO. Did you guys see that? Did you guys just see that? What is it? I saw it. It's alive. It's huge. For the movie experience. Calls are pouring into the newsroom. Something violent is rocking. Take your breath. Whatever it is, it's winning. By Cloverfield. It's brilliant. This is a town movie. A true milestone in film. We're with you. Let's go. Cheers. We got to get out of here. It's not safe here. Looks like you should have left town a little bit earlier. Oh, my God.
Just in time for the best dirt riding in years, the House of Motorcycles in San Diego and Vista are blowing out all remaining 07 Yamahas at the lowest prices of the year. TTR 50 was $1,149, now $799. TTR 125 was $2599, now $1999. YZ250 was $6299, yours for just $4,999. And with gas prices again at record levels, here's a brand new 07 Yamaha V-Star 650. Was $61.99? Now just $48.99. If Tony Dungy retires, Colts owner says the assistant head coach, Jim Caldwell, will be named the head coach. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey, this is P1 Cheek. I just want to let you guys know that I went to House of Blues last night, and I saw Ben Kenney, and I got a flyer at the end of the day, and it says that on February 20th, third day, the guys that you play on Friday will be playing, and the tickets are $32.50. Yeah, I think tickets are available for that show at Ticketmaster. And I know Ty, the bass player. And I've been talking to him because I think it would be cool if they could come in and play Tunnel or something. Yeah, I just wanted to let all the P1s know about it. And yeah, that's about it. It's very cool. Thank you, man. Yep, have a good day. Yeah, when they're here, it's going to be like that Monday, everybody's off because it's President's Day.
And we'll be back to work on Tuesday. And then that Wednesday there at House of Blues, I thought, ah, maybe they'd come in and play Tunnel acoustically or something. Cool. We play that song at the end of the day here on Fridays, and so most people are familiar with it. P1 Tom. Hey, Mikey, what's happening? What's up, dude? Hey, I got a thing about Britney. I work in the recovery field, okay? I deal with addicts and alcoholics all the time. Now, this thing with Britney, I see her... using methamphetamine. You see the behavior as very specific to methamphetamine? The umbrella incident, the shaving her head, the random English accent. I mean, it's nice to candy coat it and say, yeah, you know, she just had a couple of babies, her hormones aren't right, yada, yada, yada. I've seen this. I've seen girls. I've actually known a couple of girls because I used to use. And I've seen these girls shave their heads. I've seen them nut up. Do you think that it could be a combination of many things? Yeah, but you know what? It all encompasses drug use. And I would have to say, she's using, didn't she just positive for amphetamine somewhere? Sky? Well, yeah, see, that's the deal. She's been going under random drug testing when she did have custody of the children, as well as, you know, the time she was taken to the hospital. And, you know, she comes up clean on these tests. Now, granted, she's allowed to take.
prescription medications that her doctor has prescribed to her, but as far as recreational drugs, she comes up clean for those. Yeah, but I think I heard it on your show that she did test positive for some type of amphetamine or amphetamine use. That could be in one of her prescription drugs, but we don't... Yeah, she's going to come up clean for that if she's taking Adderall, which is for ADD. Right. I take that. So you can come up... I mean, I've never taken a drug test, but... You very well could. Yeah, I wasn't allowed to take my Adderall. Okay, well, Mike, you're in the program, right? I don't know what program you're talking about. Well, you're a recovering alcoholic. Is that correct? I am a recovering alcoholic. But you've never used any hard drugs. I probably shouldn't be asking you this, but I see this. I'm sorry. I see this all the time. What's the second word in AA stand for? I think it's anonymous. Well, I mean, just that program. I'm just saying that. Awesome. I can't speak to that. Awesome. Yeah, alcoholics are awesome. That's why at one time I was thinking about it. My first officer told me that AA means all action. NA means no action. Does that make sense? Yeah. All right, brother. Thank you for calling. You got it.
P1 Quimby. Hey, what's happening? Hey, Quimby, what's up? I was just calling as, you know, as me being a longtime P1 and a member of the P1 General Council. Yes. I've been to many, many events, and I have to say today's clam soup jump and the egging of B-Rob was the best event I've ever been to. sponsored by the Mike Show. Listen, I'm glad you're saying it because I was like, you know, I kind of got that feeling, but, you know, I didn't know. I didn't know how you guys felt. And it's good to hear the P1s call in and say, yeah, man, that was huge. That was fun, man. Yeah, it was great taking out pent-up frustrations with eggs, you know, throwing them at B-Rob's torso. That was just amazing. Amazing. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. P1 Jackie is on the line. Jackie, go ahead. What's up, everybody? Thoroughly enjoyed that this morning. But I would like to take this time to personally apologize for the bad joke that I made concerning my wife as the default if I were to win the event. Did she make you call in?
It was insensitive. Did that, yeah. Oh, uh-oh. Are you reading off the paper she told you to read? Yeah, exactly. Now, did she send this to you? I'm not in the doghouse. I'm like, you know, poking my nose in the doggy door. Right. Now, did she send this apology to you via email when you're reading it, or how did she give it to you? Well, I called her after we left, and, you know, of course, that was the disappointment was the first thing of the, you know, after her listening. And then, you know, she accepted the... the light apology told her it was only a joke and but then i got the uh i was hurt by it email exactly brutal doghouse but it's all right you know she would have been if we would have won of course she would have completely forgot about the joke but let's not go there you know what i mean hey you're not helping yourself yeah you're not helping but he's right i love you baby i love you another quick question though for b rob so you gotta have some You know, idea that Tom Brady's going to get some bad karma for this whole Bridget Moynihan leaving her thing, right? What do you think about that? What do you think about that, Rob? That's a good point. Do you think Tom Brady's got bad karma? He's due. Leave his personal life out of this, sir. Hey, dude, I'm telling you, it's going to come back around, and I think this is the time. I'm not throwing the universe energies into it or any of that jazz, but, I mean, it's... Whatever you got to do to convince yourself, sir. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Well, Rob, you're a Red Sox fan. You did it 86 years. Why don't you tell them? How do you do it? That is icing, my friend. The charges are going to dominate. There you go. Wicked awesome. Thank you very much. P1 Bree is on the line. Love your cheese. What's going on, Bree? Hey, what's going on? I got two things. First off, today was like the first time I was ever able to make it to because I'm stationed at Pendleton and I can't ever get off. But it was awesome. It was like I've never seen anything like that before. Oh, that is awesome, man. That is awesome. So did you participate or were you just a spectator? Participated, but sadly enough, I didn't win. I had fun and I was one of the few Patriots fans out there. Yeah. Did you say that you're in the military? Did you say you're in the military? Yes. Were you the little Marine? Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. She was cool. I didn't know you were a Patriot fan. I am a Patriot fan. I'm from Connecticut. I wanted to make a comment on the whole Britney Spears thing. Go ahead. The other night I was watching Nancy Grace and they were commenting on how bad she gets swarmed by the paparazzi and all that stuff. They had two magazine reps on the show and they were talking about it and they all kind of agreed that
They're afraid it's going to turn into, like, a Princess Diana-like tragedy because, you know, they tail her, and the second she steps out of a vehicle, they're just swarming her. Hey, Skye was... Well, Brie, Skye was saying this morning that the AP, the Associated Press, the AP has already prepared an obituary. Wow. Yeah, the AP... That is my thing. I mean, you guys know what the AP is, right? I mean, that's a huge deal, the AP. It's gigantic. We're not talking about the Inquirer. Right. The AP. Sky, what's the deal? Well, the Associated Press said that, yeah, they have obituaries ready for anybody that they consider at risk, whether you're really old, really sick, or at risk for any reason. And they say, of course, they wish no misfortune on Britney, and they hope that they never have to use this obituary for another 50 years. But if something were to happen, they need to be prepared, and they are. That's pretty morbid. I feel like if the media...
I really just feel like... It's gotten to the point where the media is not helping the situation, and the paparazzi swarming her every day right now, I feel like, is going to have a huge part, or is having a huge part in her demise. Like, it's gotten to that point now. Skye? Well, early yesterday morning, so about 1.30 in the morning on Thursday, a whole group of paparazzi, including Britney, were all pulled over because they were all going about 100 miles per hour when they were chasing Britney. See, basically... That's iconic. someone herself well it's just like princess diana well exactly and so and but the thing that kind of sucks is i you know i know these people are chasing britney but at the same time she's the one who elevated the speed that's what i'm saying away from them it's well so did princess die's driver right so they the cops there's no difference the cops caught them and pulled
everybody over. Brittany was let go and a group of the paparazzi were given tickets and another group of the paparazzi were taken into jail. Good. Yeah, everyone's long. Yeah, but Brittany was let go. She needs to be left alone by the paparazzi though. That's what I'm saying. I really feel like they are really affecting and making this worse. I'll tell you something. I think that's very likely that just like with the Princess Di thing, she ended up dying because they were chasing her through that tunnel. And they were going same speed, like over 100 miles an hour from the paparazzi. She ended up dying. Britney Spears, I think, is very close to death in one way or another. It's either close to death from taking her own life or from what you just heard, paparazzi, or something that we're not thinking of that could be real bad. And if it is by the paparazzi, At some point, I believe that laws are going to be made that reflect the paparazzi. They have to. I wish it was right now. They have to. I wish it was right now. When we come back, Eddie's going to give his predictions on... Oh my gosh, what? The playoffs. Wow. Who does Eddie believe will win with the Packers and the Giants? Who does Eddie believe will win when the Chargers go to New England? They'll tell us next.

You guys can be legitimate fans, but I didn't know. I don't really feel that the San Diego Chargers fans, they're just not for their team. You said that you feel that San Diego fans are a little fair weather, and I disagree with that. I think we're extremely fair weather. But when they're in the position they're in now, we're better than you are. The Mikey Show continues.
I'm on the rock. It's a Mikey show at 914. Court documents show that one of the San Francisco Zoo tiger attack victims admitted to drinking and taunting the tiger. LT returned to practice yesterday. I mean, it's like a plan on hurry up, but you know, never mind. Okay. Sean, you get what I'm saying. No, actually I don't. Oh, you? Do you want me to explain more? No. I want to say thank you to Poway Sushi Lounge. Yeah, dog. So good. They really get it.
Yeah. Sushi-wise, you know what is always a trip to me is that he brings the sushi in, and I don't know if he makes it here or what he does, but I know that I always think to myself, if it tastes this good, being brought from there, how good is it when you're sitting there? It's really tight. Yeah. How do you like your sushi? I don't like it too crazy, but I like it tight. Yeah. Well, who doesn't? Heard that. Heard that. That's right. So, they are located. I still haven't been in this store. Oh, I have. It's really cute in there. That's what I was hoping for. I said to my wife the other day, babe, I really hope it's cute in there. Stop it. 13-1-32 Poway Road. Jerks. And they're online too. PowaySushiLounge.com. They're good, man. That really is good sushi. Let's do this. Eddie, we've been waiting. What are your predictions for the playoffs? Now, are both games on Sunday? Yes. Okay. So Chargers are at noon. Yes. So that must mean that the other one's a prime time. It's later. Later in the day. All right. First game is a CBS game, and then the other game is a Fox game. Let's start with the Green Bay Packers. Please. At home in the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field, taking out the New York Giants. I think that one is going to be really interesting. I think the elements are going to play a big part in that game. The fact that the Giants were able to pretty much stop the Dallas passing game with all of their cornerbacks are injured. Mm-hmm.
All their guys are really banged up. Patrick Creighton looked terrible. He dropped about 20 balls. T.O. really didn't do anything. I don't think they're going to be able to do that against the Packers. I think Brett Favre is going to have a field day. He's so gorgeous. I'm blushing. I'm blushing. I'm blushing. Weird man. So, yeah, I think Brett Favre's going to have a field day. I think Ryan Grant's going to be able to run the ball real well. And I actually don't think this one's going to be close. I think they're going to win about 34-17. Really? Yeah, Green Bay going to the Super Bowl. What about the other game? What's that? The game that's on earlier. Oh, you're talking about the Chargers versus the Patriots. Yes, I am. The AFC Championship where that little... Where that little packaged 18-year-old that just won today outside in the clam chowder is going to be traveling to see it himself in person. Real sweet. Eddie? Okay. Let's talk. Let me preface again. Let me preface. Let me preface. Okay. Again, do you guys want me to blow smoke? Or do you want me to give you my honest opinion about what's going to happen in this game? No smoke. I want you to blow smoke. Honest. I need you to be honest, Eddie. That's not what we're about. Okay, let me clarify.
If you think the Chargers are going to win, then be honest. If there's any part of you that thinks the Chargers are going to lose, then blow smoke. Come on. Listen. Tell me what I want to hear. The Patriots are one of the greatest teams that has ever been in the NFL. I think that's clear. I mean, they're 17-0 right now, which equals the mark of those idiotic 72 Dolphins. Yes. The biggest matchup problem I see for the San Diego Chargers is in the slot. I don't like the fact that Drayton Florence is covering Wes Welker. I think Wes Welker is going to catch a lot of balls. Yeah, like Wes Welker. Yep. I don't think the Patriots are going to be able to run at all. I think they'll be able to shut down Lawrence Moroney pretty easily. I like Antonio Cromartie on Randy Moss. I think they match up pretty well. I think the Chargers offensively are going to be able to run the football.
I think LT's going to be fine. I think you're going to see a heavy dose of Michael Turner. And you're going to see little midget Darren Sproles. I think they will combine for over 200 yards rushing against the Patriots. I think this is going to be a very close game. You do. Very close game. Competitive. Yeah, low scoring. Low scoring, competitive game. Until the fourth quarter when the San Diego Chargers... are going to score a touchdown late. The mighty run of destiny. It'll end on Sunday as the San Diego Chargers beat the New England Patriots 24-17. Are you blowing smoke? I'm not blowing smoke. I truly believe that. You know, you said that last time you were right. You should be thinking as you're watching the game this weekend. Last time you said he was right, and hey, man. I'm with you. I'm okay. You sold me. I'm telling you, man, all the pressure is on New England. I mean, they're trying to do something that's never been done before. They have all the talent in the world. I am not disrespecting them. I know we've joked around a lot. I'm not disrespecting the Patriots. They're a great team, and they should beat the Chargers. On paper, you look at it, they should beat the Chargers. But this game isn't on paper. They're going to actually go out there and play the game. San Diego Chargers, their defense is nasty right now.
I think Merriman and Phillips are going to be in Brady's face all day long. I think they're going to win. You know what I hope? I hope that there's some wrinkles that we haven't seen that we get to see. I guarantee you that will happen. There's some stuff we haven't seen yet. And that the Patriots haven't seen. Yeah. There's a lot you can say about Norv Turner. But the guy knows how to run an offense. He really does. And I think that he's been holding back a little bit. And I think you're going to see something special. That would be awesome, dude. It's going to be difficult. And they're going to have to limit their mistakes, limit turnovers, things like that. But it can be done. And I think it's going to happen. I go to the Rock Church, and they have five different services. And I, during the football season, go to the 8 a.m. service. It's funny, too, because I was talking to Miles earlier in the week, and he goes, which service do you go to? I said, 8 o'clock. He goes, football? I said, mm-hmm.
And so this Sunday, you know, go to the 8 o'clock, get home. I don't know about how everybody is with their football. But it's become a creepy, superstitious time for me in the morning. When I get home on Sunday, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for two hours before the game starts. Just kind of waiting for the game to start. And then in the beginning of the game when the players are running out on the field, I'm sitting there thinking to myself, what am I nervous about? I'm not playing. But, dude, like, Eddie, think about the last two minutes of the Indianapolis game. Like, were you just, like, kind of biting your nails? Like, holy cow. Definitely edge of your seat. I mean, the whole time, I mean, if you watch, you know, Peyton Manning and know that he's got two minutes to do something, you're thinking to yourself, man, that's...
too much time. Chargers left him too much time. And the fact that they had the two-minute warning, you know, I mean, the clock stopped at 2-0-1. I was like, oh, that's bad. And, you know, a lot of stuff I didn't like. But I still had a belief that they were going to be able to stop him and they were going to be able to win that game. Well, let me tell you something, man. I hope the Chargers can do it. LT was back in practice yesterday. What about Rivers? Rivers is still not practicing. Probably he's not going to practice at all. I wouldn't bother. What does he have to practice? He knows what he's doing. I think he's going to go out there and play. He's going to have to. If Antonio Gates is out there playing with a dislocated toe, which has got to kill him. It's got to hurt. Rivers is going to play with sprained knees. So you do the pregame. And then what are you doing? Are you watching the game at home? I don't know yet. I haven't decided. I'm not sure. I might stay at the Little Italy Urban Bar and Restaurant and watch it there. I don't know. I haven't decided yet. Have you got any kind of superstition involved in where you see it? Not really. I mean... Where did you watch last week? At home. Do that. Go home. I suggest that. I'd say go home. I think we may need a little something extra. Do the pregame and then go home. I don't know. We'll see. Rob, what do you wear on game day?
you're a pats fan oh i i'm oh dude i'm real weird like real weird i almost don't even want to say it what are you gonna wear well i have two different jerseys that i wear that you rotate would no but i have certain times when i get changed during the game during the game yeah what is how does that work i what's what i'm being serious dude i don't want to get into it I just don't. I'm weird, dude. Well, dude, I got to tell you. I got to tell you. I don't want to bum you out. You shouldn't have told me what you already told me, dude. You just jinxed me. You shouldn't have told me that, bro. Say what you want to say, bro. You shouldn't have told me that, bro. Rob. You shouldn't have told me that. Oh, no. Whatever you guys got to tell yourself to feel more confident. That's his line, Eddie. That's what he's been going with. That's all you guys been doing all morning. That's his defense. Keep barking, fellas. In all honesty, Rob, would your entire season, this undefeated regular season, would it all be ruined if you guys lose on Sunday? Would it be ruined? That's a good question. How is that a good question? No, dude, it really is a good question. It's a really good question. That's one of the dumbest questions I've ever heard in the history of questions. Dude, you've gone 17-0. You've gone 17-0, that team.
Yeah. So if they lost this weekend, would it all be for not, or would you still be able to... Let me answer your question with a question, good sir. Okay. Thank you. I'm getting mad. If your team had gone 17-0, and someone put a stop to it, would you be bummed out? No, no, no. That's not what he asked. Not the question. Eddie didn't ask you if you'd be bummed out. Of course you're going to be bummed out. He's devastated. Would it ruin it? Of course you are. Would it ruin the accomplishment of an undefeated regular season? Like... How is that not a dumb question? That is not a dumb question. Let me explain. You are an idiot. I'm going to explain it to you. My emotions are involved. I'll explain it to you. You're a hothead. I'm not a hothead. You're such a hothead. So let me explain why that's such a great question. Oh, explain it to me, Mike. 17-0 is so incredible. What an accomplishment. I mean, the only other team that's done is the Dolphins. Hang on. Let me explain. Whoa. Whoa. Holy hothead. Jeez. So if the season were to end right now, I don't know what's going to happen on Sunday. Excuse me, sir. Finish. Excuse me. I don't want to get into what's going to happen on Sunday. Let Sunday speak for itself. I'm just going to ask you. Ask me Monday. I'm just asking. Yeah. Ask me Monday. We'll ask you. Did it ruin? The team has won. Hey, if you want to say that. You want to say that. The team has won 17 games. I know you don't care. And so.
After winning 17 games, you would think that the Patriot fans would be like, hey, listen, it doesn't matter, man. We won 17 in a row, not one loss. And Eddie's question is, well, what if you lost this weekend? Is all of that for not? Or do you still look back on it and go, no way, that was the best? I'm not going to answer that question because that question is assuming that we're going to lose this weekend. No, it isn't. It is. I don't like the question, so I plead the fifth. Oh, this guy. Take that. I want to know what he wears. You'll never know. Halftime. He changes it at halftime. I'm showing up. You'll never know. Dude, we should knock on his door and show up over there. That'd be so funny. Who are you watching with? I have a group of people. That's Vince. The regular. Your house? Can you tell us who? Who? Your house. Are we not allowed to know who? Is your mom there? My mom? She's back east, right? Yeah. So who will be there? A few of my friends said, okay, going to be a joke. P1 James? No. P1 James? No. Okay, go ahead. Who will be there? Your fiance? Of course. Do you have rules with her during the game? She's more of a Pats fan than I am, dude. So she's screaming just as loud as you are? Oh, yeah. But you don't have rules with her where you go, don't talk about the score. Where she says, this is something that... No, she yells at me about things.
You're a jerk. Oh, I can't wait. I can't wait either. Good. Good. I love this. Oh, you're so tough over there, aren't you? Am I not? You are the toughest guy I know. What are you? What are you? I'm not as tough as you. You got egg all over your face. That's for sure. It makes my morning so much better, I swear to God. This is The Mikey Show. I appreciate that, dude. That's very nice of you to say. Rock 105.3. Man, I got the post-holiday blues. Not me, dude. I am fired up. I went down to the AT&T New Year new phone sale, treated myself to this cool new phone. I won't be seeing my friends, but I can call them. You sure are happy. Hey, smell that wall-to-wall carpeting? Isn't this anonymous corporate environment invigorating? And look at me. I must have put on 101 pounds since Christmas. Look at me. I'm huge. But my AT&T

Watch for delays there. Another injury crash here now out of the way on the eastbound side of the 78 near Rancho Santa Fe Road. However, you're on the brakes quite heavy in single digits from just around Mar Vista to that accident scene. Medical crews responding to a new accident with a car on its side in the center of 5 northbound 5 right before the 52. That's back to me. The Mikey Show. That's lovely. And southbound side of the 5 also just a brief slowdown at Manchester. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. What's up? Hey, this is...
P1 Matt, hey, I just want to thank you for hooking me up with Sleep Train. Went two days ago. We got a Sterns and Foster just like you. And went to Santee Sleep Train. We got the bed for a price that I can't even mention on the radio. And then they gave us all the accessories, the sheets, the really nice bed, mattress cover, you name it, everything half off. You slept on it yet? No, we get it delivered tonight. Love it, dude. We didn't get the one you got. They showed me the one you got. But we got one of the other Sterns and Fosters. And they're all nice. They're so awesome. That's awesome, dude. That makes me happy. Call me back and tell me tomorrow morning how your first night's sleep was on that sleep train mattress. Yeah, I might have to take Friday off. I'll be feeling too rested. I'll have to go take an exercise. Or maybe we can join them. Yeah. For a nap. Is it cool if we come over and take a nap later? Let's do it. Yeah, the show. We got the California King. It's big enough for everybody. There you go. Thank you for the call. You guys having a killer time? Boons. Thank you. Sleep Train's your ticket to a better night's sleep.
The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. When I was eight years old, I kissed our dog on the mouth. Eddie. Take a look at this. Adonis body. Sky. I'm not. Oh, perfect. Thank you. Save that. Cliff, Sean. I love it when black people make fun of white people. Boston Rob. I'm not a chick. Come on, lady. Come on. And Ashley. I am Freaklit Finicky Handwasher. The Mikey Show's on. Yay! 1053. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. Short. It is 935. Morgue as part of her... What was that, Scott? Lindsay Lohan. Start again. Lindsay Lohan will spend two days at the morgue as part of her DUI awareness program. That's good that that's why she's going to be spending a few days at the morgue. No kidding. Cowboys' Jason Garrett staying put. He's going to remain the Cowboys' offensive coordinator, now the highest-paid assistant coach in the NFL. Oh, my. Randy Moss' accuser, the woman that said that Randy, you know,
assaulted her. What, did we find out she's a Chargers fan or something? Oh, really? Really? Ooh. She says... It's a question. She says she won't be disrespected anymore. Now, what is that? Why is that funny? What is that about, Eddie? Well, you know, she's tired of Randy going on TV saying all the things he's been saying. Right. And so she had a statement through her attorney basically that she's not going to be disrespected anymore and, you know, whatever. Five? Seahawks, and Sean Alexander have all had surgery. Yeah. As soon as they lost, I guess, like, all the people that needed surgery all went in. Maybe they got a discount or something. Yeah, they should have gone at Costco. Yeah. Alexander had wrist surgery. I know Dion Branch had ACL surgery. Patrick Kearney had surgery. All those guys. The chess master Bobby Fisher has died at the age of 64. Wow. It's very sad.
If you're a chess guy, or if you've ever seen the movie Searching for Bobby Fischer, I guess he's pretty widely considered to be one of the best chess players ever, right? He's the greatest American chess player ever. He, back in the 70s, was the first American to dethrone the great Russians, who were great chess players. I think he beat Garry Kasparov, was I think the big match that they had. And then he went kind of crazy. He went into isolation. Anytime he appeared after that, he would come out and say anti-Semitic remarks. He went nuts. He's living in Iceland. He's nuts. How did he die, Sky? They're not saying. They just say he died yesterday at a hospital in Iceland and they're not releasing the cause of death. In Vista, a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a 14-year-old girl's bedroom. and stealing her underwear oh weird yeah they say about 3 30 yesterday this girl um saw a guy climbing in her bedroom window and then um they called the cops and the guy left before the cops could arrive but they gave a description of the man and caught him a little while later and he did have the girls underwear in his possession um but the weird thing is is i guess he was in the
their house earlier in the day but the girl's parents didn't think that he had taken anything so they didn't he was in their house yeah like he broke in earlier in the day to the same house but so they so the family came home realized their house had been broken into called the cops right no they didn't find anything missing so they figured Whoa. So, yeah, so after the cops caught the guy on the street, they got a warrant for his house, went to his house, and found another pair of the same girl's underwear in his house. So he was going back to get more? To get more. Whoa. Yeah, creepy. Oh, my. But, you know, luckily he's now in the Vista detention facility. Well, good. There you go. President Bush did make an announcement this morning about how he's going to stimulate the economy, and what we were thinking was... People were saying, well, he's going to give dough to single people who make under $100,000 or $85,000 or something like that and to married people that make under $100,000. May I ask a quick question? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why? Like how that would benefit? Well, what they think is is that it would make those people spend money, which would stimulate the economy. Dang right. We're going to spend that right to the casino. Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. We've got to double it. Please don't.
So what was happening is, and they were saying that some people, they were afraid that some people would save it, that they wouldn't actually spend it, but then there were other economists saying, no, they'll spend it. Don't worry, the people will spend it. But Sky says that he made an announcement and he didn't really say anything. He didn't give any details. No, he just kind of gave a broad picture of what he hopes about stimulating the economy and putting money in the pockets of people who will spend it, but no specific details about how much money or who qualifies for them. That's not entirely correct. Here he is. President Bush is in the studio with us right now. Thank you very much. Thank you. President Bush, what can you tell us since we don't have your music on? I'm not going to speak until I get my music. All right. I need your music. Please, I mean. Let's get the President Bush music fired up. Let's get the music, because I need a music. All right, then. Where's my money, Bush? Go ahead, President Bush. Well, here's what's the details on the economy and what I plan on doing. Right. One giant treasure hunt. A treasure hunt? Right. What do you mean, President Bush? I'll give everybody a map. Okay. Of where their money is hidden. And you'll have to find it. Oh.
Now, but how will that stimulate the economy, though? I mean, what if some people don't find... I'm sure you'll have to buy shovels and binoculars. Yeah, but you don't have the money yet. Before you're buying the shovels and the binoculars, you don't have the money yet. Dang it. It's completely different. Look at that. It goes against the whole thing. Back to the drawing board, Condoleezza. All right. I don't know that your secretary of state... It was her idea. It was her idea. Oh, come on. You've got economists that work for you. That wouldn't have been your secretary of state. What the hell is that? I don't know that you're telling the truth, President Bush. That's President Bush. Well, whatever. You're a good man. Go Chargers. So check this out. Apparently, Sean Penn and his wife, Robin Wright, getting a divorce, right? So they're splitting up. Word has it that Sean Penn is seeing Sienna Miller. And Sean Penn's people say, no, no, no, we're not. Right, Sky?
Yeah, basically, you know, there's been all these rumors that it was their flirtation, Sean Penn and Sienna Miller, and their newfound friendship that was like the final nail in the coffin of Sean and Robin Wright Penn. And, of course, like you said, their reps are totally denying it, but there are pictures going around of Sienna Miller sitting on Sean Penn's lap with her arm around his neck and, you know, chatting very intimately. So I guess only time will tell what's up with that. Slim Fast spokesperson says that they want Eminem to be their new spokesperson. Shut up. And the reason is because his mother's written this book and it's a tell-all book and she's saying that he's gained, he weighs over 200 pounds and that his skin has gotten real bad and so I get, wow, I got a hee hee hee out of Rob. What is that? I don't know. I just hope this isn't all too good to be true, hee hee. So, yeah, they want Eminem to be their spokesperson. Yeah, I don't think he's going to go for that. I don't either. It goes against his image. Eminem should get him as a spokesperson. Big tubby dude. Wow. Okay. Rob is bringing bad karma on his team right now. You guys are eating in that way. And his ribs. If that's what you guys have to say, you're going to have to get yourself from that. Seriously. Unbelievable.
Might have it, dude. Bunch of tough guys over here. Yes, I am. Talk your stuff. Talk your stuff. I'd rather not talk about it. I'll sit here quietly. Yep. And brood. If you don't mind, Mike, I'd rather not say. Because I am an idiot. Oh, wait. Idiot. Okay. Okay. You showed us. Keep it going. Whatever. Take in your grave. Rachel Ray has her own TV show, and apparently on the TV show, on the set, somebody brought her over some Dunkin' Donuts. She is the spokesperson for Dunkin' Donuts. That's cute. Sky, what did she do? Very politely say no thank you?
Well, no, basically, you know, she gets her morning cup of coffee and they brought her over a Dunkin' Donuts cup of coffee. She took a sip and reportedly yelled, quote, what is this S? But she used the whole word and then yelled, get me my coffee and send her assistant out to Starbucks. Oh, very, very bad words. That's not good. Tracy Ullman's going to do a new sketch comedy on Showtime. Are you over it? I was never on the board. Not a Tracy Ullman guy. Not big into that. No, thank you. Yeah, well, it'll be on Showtime. It'll be called Tracy Ullman State of the Union. It'll start in March, and they say, of course, there'll be original characters as well as impersonations of celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears, David Beckham, and Dina Lowen. Of all people they list in the press release. I love when she does the American accent. Because she's British. I love it. Do you guys know who John C. McGinley is? Does anybody know who John C. McGinley is? Character actor. He's been in a lot of movies. But he's on the show Scrubs. He was also in Office Space. Platoon. Yeah, yeah. Well, he wants his child support reduced because of the...
writer's strike he says i'm not making tv shows i'm not making scrubs right so i don't i'm not getting the money i used to get so i don't want to pay nine thousand dollars a month in child support is that what it was nine grand yeah nine grand a month how much must a guy make in order for his child support payment yeah to be nine thousand dollars How much? Well, his child is 10 years old and does have Down syndrome. So that child does, you know, require a little extra care than, you know, your average child. So that could, you know, bump the payment up a little bit. You know, they take all those things into consideration. Do they really? Yeah, I don't think it's just a set portion. It's like what your child needs and then they base it off of that. But nine grand? Nine grand? So it's really interesting. No, no, no, no. No, I, listen. unequivocally no one needs nine oh yeah i'm not saying the child needs nine grand but you know that's so crazy to me but it's interesting the way because i've read this story a couple different places and the way the media is painting the story is what a jerk he is because he has a special needs child and he's trying to get less of a child support payment i personally i don't see it that way
Yeah, I mean, the guy, he's not working. You know, if he's not filming an episode, he's not bringing in money for that. I mean, I'm not saying the guy's hard up for cash, but. Now, what happens in like a, you know, regular guy got a regular job and you get laid off or you're blah, blah, blah. Do they say, I don't care. You still got to keep paying. I don't know how it works. Yeah. Is that what it is? Ryan's here. P1 Ryan's here. He pays child support. So no matter if you're off work or whatever, you still got to make that payment. So what can happen? So you can get behind on it, right? And then you owe it all back? Wow, they said plus 10% interest every year. And you lose your passport. Yeah, man. Holy Toledo. Now, you can go to court, though, and ask them to please reduce it. How often does it work? You've been going, you've asked, though? Why would that, now, do they tell you why they say no, or do they just say, nope, we're turning it down? Do you get a reason? You don't know? Wow. I don't want to say, Mike. Yeah, Mike, if you don't mind, Mike. I'm not even saying nothing over here. I would rather not, Mike. I don't want to change it. Why are you dragging me into this? If it's all the same to you. Let me stay out of this one. If it's all the same to you, I'd rather just stay out of this particular thing with P1 Ryan. I'll be quiet. Wait. Mike, I would rather not.
Speak on this or to this or about this and make a particular comment in regards to this. Let's just leave it at that. Hannah Montana movie tickets are already selling out. Wait, what? Eddie, I don't know, dude. What do you mean, Rob? Listen, if you don't mind, I would rather not comment on the Hannah Montana movie. But I mean... Hannah Montana movie, I'm out. Selling out. No way, dude. I'd rather be quiet. Are we talking Miley Cyrus? Yeah. What is it? No, no. Don't want to jinx. Can't do it. I don't want to jinx. Dude, I think it might make 200 mil. Don't want to jinx. You just blew it. Oh, great. Oh, come on. And I don't want to tell you which one of her dresses I wear while it's on. That's weird. I'd just rather... If it were up to me, I'd just rather... Please. Wow. Sky, you can give the details, but I don't want to comment on... Leave me out of this. No, hey, I don't want to talk about Fandango or anything. Can I talk about Fandango? Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay, thanks. I wish you wouldn't, but... Well, it's part of the story, B-Rob. I'll do my best to keep you out of it. But, yeah, the movie is Hannah Montana... La, la, la, la, la, la, la. Please. The movie is called Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert. And it's basically footage from her concert, and it's a movie. I'm not hearing this. So it doesn't...
It doesn't even come out until February the 1st, but you could start buying tickets online and stuff December 1st. I know him. I got my brother Gabe standing in line. Hello. I've told you too much. Oh, shoot. Be quiet. Zipper, shut. Lock key. According to Fandango, hundreds of show times are already sold out. Freaking Marcel Marceau over here. and movietickets.com says that this movie is their number one seller on their site in the first week of sales. So shows are already selling out, and this movie isn't even coming out until February 1st, and the movie's only going to run for one week. So parents, if you've got kids, you may want to go online and buy these tickets now. Why would they do that? Only have it run for one week? That is weird. Yeah. It's not really that, but it'll run for longer. Can't they, though? I mean, that seems so weird. it's a ploy well it's like you know why doesn't an artist do you know 10 dates in a city you know because they want like eddie said they want to create the demand they want a packed house they want a buzz they want it to be a news story like it is today did you guys know that martha stewart had a brand of dinnerware dude oh here we go i don't want to say if i know
I don't want to. Martha Stewart, bro. Dude, I'm not going there. I'm not talking about her vineyard. I'm not talking about her old show. I don't know anything about it. Not when she had her own apprentice version. Okay. Leave me out of it, please. All right. So she is being sued because apparently these parents are saying that the dinnerware that she sells had lead in the paint. And that their kids have gotten learning disabilities or something wrong with them. And they're blaming the Martha Stewart dinnerware. Yeah, so they filed a lawsuit against Martha Stewart and Kmart claiming... And if you don't mind, Sky, could we just end the story there? I don't want to... There's litigation going on. All right, Rob, I guess we got the bulk of it out there. Thank you so much. You're welcome. The department. The department. When we come back, Sky has new movies that are coming out this weekend. Oh yeah, got some good ones. It's a Mikey show. How important is it for someone to keep a promise to you? Oh, for goodness sake, it's KIOZ San Diego. Wait, hit it. He hit it already. He hit it till late. But he hit it till late. Oh, there it is. KIO, KIO, KIO. Oh, wow. KIO, KIO, KIO. KIO, KIO, KIO. Rob was just showing us his welts. Dude.
Really? That's great. Can we take some pictures of him? Yeah. Why, you pervert. You'd like that, wouldn't you? Take pictures of his welts. Oh, we're going to have to wait a minute. I rolled down my pant leg. Oh, really? Just take them off. Yeah, he was out there close like that. Probably he hasn't seen it before. Right? Normal Friday night for you two. Lose it. Jeez. If it's all the same to you guys, I'd rather not pull my pants up again. Please, Mike. I don't want to jinx my pants. I don't want to jinx the chance that my pants will never be able to be pulled up again. I'm so tired of that guy. You're tired of me? Yeah, I'm tired of you, buddy. I haven't done nothing. I've been quiet all week. Skye's got new movies out. You're a jerk. New movies out today? He's just doing new movies. Yeah, I don't like new movies. Why are you so mean to her? Why are you so mad at Skye, culinary jerk? I was talking to Eddie Ski. Go ahead. Go ahead, Skye. Your team's going to lose. Sean? Okay, new movie's out today.
We have 27 dresses out today. Oh, can we? Katherine Heigl at Burns. Anybody? She's been a bridesmaid 27 times. I would think that even chicks would be like, ugh, keep me away from that. Are you kidding? I love Katherine Heigl. Ay, ay, ay. Are you kidding? She's so funny. I love her. This is Katherine Heigl, cut 57. Do what he says. No. Does anyone really go to a romantic comedy and believe that their life could turn out that way? I don't. The whole point is to escape from your actual, I don't know, day-to-day, I suppose. That's why I love romantic comedy so much. Not that the day-to-day is so bad, but it's the opportunity to sort of fantasize about the perfect life. You know, I think these characters have an honesty about them. I just think that the situations are a bit extreme. Eddie says he thinks she's gorgeous, but when she opens her mouth, he's out. I love her. I love her, bro.
This is her on Live with Regis and Kelly talking about her in Knocked Up, cut 27. Now, I read somewhere that you were not unhappy, but, you know, you had some things to say about the movie Knocked Up. And it was a big, big favorite at the box office. But how did you feel about playing that woman? You know, I loved the movie. And it's so my kind of movie. I saw four-year-old Virgin three times. I was a huge Judd and Seth fans. And just really privileged and excited to be a part of the movie. I thought I was funnier than I actually was. So when I saw the movie, I was like, oh, I actually was not that funny. And actually really, you know, uptight. is the right word. So I thought maybe like, oh God, I wish she had been a little more fun or a little more... What was it, the script? No, because we kind of threw the script out. I think it was actually just me. That's not what she said before. No, it's funny how that changed, isn't it? That's not what she said before. What was the deal? She said that she thought she...
She didn't like that she had to play that character. Yeah, the way the character was beneath her. The way the character was written, why the guys get to be funny and they're always the good guys and why she had to be so uptight and such a stickler and the way women are painted in these comedies. You know what? From what I heard, somebody held an AK-47 to her head and forced her to make that movie. Forced her to accept millions of dollars. Forced her to become a movie star. Yeah. I mean, when you think about it, it's really sad, the victimization of Catherine. Forced her to be famous and make lots of money. She's doing cool, you guys. Give her a break. Did you hear what we just said? Yeah. So you thought that was all right? Well, I mean, I don't necessarily... I see how you guys are saying that. I didn't necessarily take it like that. Well, she flat out said that. She said it. Yeah, she didn't say it in this clip. She's like now twisting it in this clip of what she said before. Yeah, her previous comments. I feel like you're making it out to seem like when she said that last time that she said it in like a negative way. She did. Well, it's a negative comment. I think it's her opinion. It is. It's negative though. It's her opinion. She's entitled to it. I don't think she said anything wrong.
Well, she said that she didn't appreciate the role that she had to play in the movie and that she thought it was a crappy thing. And I guess everybody's kind of like, wow, that's interesting that you accepted the role. I understand. I guess what I just heard in this clip was she was more implying that she feels like she could have put more into her character making it funny on her own. That's our point, too. I don't think she's... I disagree. Okay. That's all I'm saying. But what about the old comment? What about the old comment? I think the old comment is accurate. I think the new comment that she just made doesn't, I don't think she's trying to justify. I think she's trying to explain. You just like her. I think so too. I think you just like her. Mike, it's the parents. I think you're right. Katherine Heigl fan. No, I think she's very modest and she was just saying that just now in the clip. She was being modest in this clip just now and real. I love her. Boo. No, you can't boo. I can't boo myself, Sean. That's not allowed. What else is out this weekend? Also out today, we have Mad Money with Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes. Everyone? Cakecut52. It's a great game. Who doesn't love a game? Who doesn't love to try something that they've never done before and pull it off? And I think it awakens a spirit in each one of the women. And then their husbands, you know, get excited by them. And it becomes a whole...
experience and adventure that gets the adrenaline going. Unless you're an SP. I'm telling you, I wish that he was just doing Tom Cruise. I wish there was more. I wish we could hear more of her. I know it. Now I want to hear her talk and see if it bears any resemblance to the Tom Cruise stuff. Let's see. This is going to be great. Let's hear a scene from the movie. You stopped. Cut 54. We need a code book. I'm like, that comes up real easy in conversation. Right. Because you don't want it to be something you could say accidentally. You know, like if our go code was hot and I saw you and I said, hey, Nina, you look really hot today. And then you go and you start stealing money. That could be a problem. The last time somebody told me I looked high was about seven years, nine months ago. And I don't want to hear it again. No.
misinterpreted it the first time. Sean deleted it after he played it. You guys want me to play it four more times? What else is out this weekend? And finally, out today, Cloverfield. Oh, yeah. 47. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Guys, come on. After word of a possible earthquake in lower Manhattan, nearby... In New York Harbor, we're getting word of an oil tanker capsizing in the middle of the harbor near the Statue of Liberty. It wasn't an earthquake. No, it wasn't, dude. Doesn't that sound real? Yeah. I mean, everything from the people saying, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, to the newscast, the whole thing. That Abrams is pretty good. He gets it. In making things seem real. And, Sky, you were saying you loved that there was no... Like famous actors. It made it even more real. Right. You don't get distracted by seeing Tom Cruise run across the screen. No, not like that. Not from the video. But yeah, you can buy it so much more when it's like people you've never seen before. Just random Joes from the street. There's J.J. Abrams on casting it. Cut 49. The key to casting this movie well was to cast really great, talented, likable people that you hadn't seen before.
Certainly, there will be people who go, oh, I recognize her from that or him from that. But we wanted to try and cast people who, for the most part, were unknowns. That's great. That worked. Yeah. Cut 50. We live in a time of such fear that having a movie that is about something as outlandish, as a massive creature attacking your city, I think allows people to process and experience the kind of fear that we are all living with in a way that is incredibly entertaining, incredibly safe, incredibly witty. But it's all tapping into, unfortunately, a very real fear that we all have. It's a weird thing when you see a movie you really like, you get a few days away from it, you miss it. If you liked it, you miss it. Yeah, I wish I had it on DVD. Yeah, you go, I want to see it again. It made me sick because it moved around so much, but I still want to see it. You know, there's that shaky camera movement, and some people get, and I'm one of them, I get motion sickness. I actually want to hear this cut. Sherry Shepard asking Barbara Walters if she kisses her dog on the mouth. Oh, I wonder why you want to hear that line. Obviously, there's a built-in interest. I want her to validate my feelings. Cut 28. You kiss the dog on the mouth? On the mouth? No. No, Sherry, I don't kiss anybody on the mouth. Okay.
You guys want to hear that clip again? No, thank you. Again, Sean deletes them after we play them. I'd like to. You sure? No, I would like to. That was good. Hey, check this out real quick, and then we've got to get out of here. A lot of these people that are auditioning for American Idol have already recorded albums. What? Yeah, like, for instance, one chick had an album released on MCA a few years ago, MCA Records. It was a flop. It only sold 378 copies. Oh my gosh. Wow. The chick's name is Carly Hennessy. And she just auditioned and she made it. This was her single a few years ago. Cut 10. Country, is it car? Yeah, what is it? I'm confused. Shania just called. Oh, that's funny. I love when artists are like, it's a direct ripoff of a certain type. Only sold 300, huh? Only sold 300. 378. Let's not forget those 78. It's weird she didn't know more people. Now, that has not aired yet. Her audition on American Idol. It's coming up. Carly Hennessey. Okay, here's another one, though. Christy Lee Cook. Oh, I remember her. You do? She's the gal that's from Oregon that was training to be an MMA fighter. Huge fighter. Yeah. Well, in 2005, she had an album out called Devoted.
And here is some of her singing a song called Good Luck Cut 4. Listen, I gotta say, I do believe that there is kind of a cookie cutter, like there's a form that women country songs sound like. And that's it. Like I've heard that 900 times. For sure. She sings good though, right? Yeah. She's got a really good voice. Really pretty. Yeah, if Idol signs her and gets her a good songwriter, you know, she could do okay. Yeah, here's her audition Tuesday night on Idol, cut six. So where are you from, Christy? I'm from Oregon. Tell me about yourself. What do you do? Oh, I do martial arts. I train horses. I train for cage fighting. So you fight other girls in a cage? With jelly. With jello. Is that what it is? Jello. Like you, you in bikinis. That is mud wrestling kind of? No. No.
So, what are you going to sing? I'm going to sing Amazing Grace. Great. Whoa, okay. Amazing. The sound. That's a good night. Excellent. Very, very nice. Very good. Thank you. I like the country tone to your voice. You also remind me of someone who would have been singing in the 60s. You kind of got that thing going on. Well, thank you. Yeah, but I like you. You're very sincere. Thank you. You're very good, and I really love the control and tone of your voice. Thank you. You're welcome. So you obviously love country music, right? Yes, I do. Yes or no, Paula? Absolutely, 1 million percent, yes. Simon Cowell, yes or no? Absolutely. My only advice coming back would be you've just got to come in with about 10 or 20 percent more confidence. Okay. But for me, it's a yes. Welcome to Holly. Thank you. Christy Lee Cook. What a great voice. Yeah. Killer voice. Well, there's a few of those. I mean...
I'm just planning a couple, but there's a few people, I guess, that auditioned that already had albums out there. And that's not disallowed? I guess not. Ashley, can you say if they ask you that question? If you've ever recorded music? If you've ever recorded an album before? That was in the thing I signed. That you can't talk about that, what they asked you? No, I'm... Almost positive that it's... Oh, that they wanted to make sure that you hadn't. Uh-huh. I'm almost positive. It was like 12 pages long. I mean... Ashley's going to be on American Idol next Tuesday night. Do we know if it's Tuesday or Wednesday? Because they're both in San Diego, right? I think it's Tuesday. Yeah, Tuesday starts off the San Diego auditions, and I don't know if it's going to be a two-nighter or what, but... Well, there you go. Ashley is a singer. True. Thank you. And went to the American Idol auditions here in July when they were here in San Diego. And we saw her on American Idol at the end of the show. They used Ashley in a promo. Ash! Whoa, what's wrong? What's she saying? She's in pain, I think. The judges really liked her.
bulls in your head, Sean. That's right. You tell him, Ash. Look at Ashley. I like when she says that and then she looks over at Eddie and she raises her eyebrows a few times like, that was a good one, huh? Check me out. Yeah, what was that? All right, 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones. You can call about anything you want. If our phones work. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we can't, right? Our phone lines apparently are out. Yeah, they said that they think that somebody dug up accidentally, our phone lines. And I think it happened, I guess outside somewhere, like maybe a bulldozer was doing construction or something. No way. Not just us, it's every radio station, every 570 radio station is out. Every radio station that begins with 570. So, everybody that did that, it's all jacked up. How dare he? My son may have a weirder food thing than Rebecca. Totally.
Don't, do not say that. Really? Do not say that. He doesn't mean anything. Well, here's the deal, dude. They do this thing where you go, the foods, when you're a baby, they go in stages. You buy, the little bottles have a number on them. Okay, so you start out with stage one, right? Right. Then you go to stage two, stage three, and I think it might go up to stage five, but I don't know anything, okay? All I know is that he's currently on stage three, and I keep wondering, when's he going on four? Because I just keep seeing these little bottles with three. So I'm feeding him last night and I don't feed him very often. She's the one that feeds him all the time. So I'm feeding him and I go, I look at the bottle and I go, babe, when does he go on to stage four? And she goes, he's supposed to have been on it for like four months. I go, well, why isn't he taking it? She goes, he won't eat it. I go, what do you mean he won't eat it? She says, stage four has got stuff in it. I go like, what? What do you mean? She goes, well, you see how the food he's eating right now is just purely smooth. I said, yeah. She goes, well, stage four has little chunks of stuff. So if you get like carrot, it's got little chunks of carrot. It's pureed, but it's got little chunks of carrot. And I go, what does he do? And she goes, you put it in his mouth. He won't keep it there. He'll spit it out into his hand. And then he'll wipe it on stuff. He doesn't want it. And I go, come on. And she goes, take a Cheerio and stick it on top of his food right now. And I go, well, I know he'll eat it. I've been sitting here watching him eat Cheerios and eat the food. She goes, yeah, but not at the same time.
I go, okay, so I stick the Cheerio. Yeah, he's a texture guy. Well, what he will do is he'll do this. He'll stick the Cheerios in his mouth, crunch them up, and then I'll hold the food, and he'll open his mouth with Cheerios in his mouth already crunched up. He'll take it that way. But if it's in the food, so I go, okay, and I know he's not going to do it, and I'm going to go, oh, really? And I'm thinking she's going to go, I swear, usually he does. So I take the Cheerio, and I shove it into the stuff. And I stick it in his mouth and immediately he goes, and he spits it out in his hand. Wow. And I'm like, he's weirder than you. He doesn't like to mix the textures. But what I don't get is he'll crunch them in his mouth. Then you could put smooth stuff in his mouth and he's fine with that. But it can't be in there. The delivery system cannot be in there. Tell him to knock it off. I did. I said, I go, dude, you keep doing that. First of all, you're either going to pay rent or leave. 16 months. And he didn't care. He doesn't care. No. So it begins. Yeah. So anyway. All right. We can't take calls, so. Yeah. This is, boy. Yeah. Oh, this went well. Hopefully they get that fixed over the weekend. Go Chargers. Go Bolts. Go Bolts.
Eddie, what's going on with you? You can see the pregame live if you guys want to come down, watch the game somewhere. Come see the pregame live at the Little Italy Urban Bar and Restaurant. It's on 1953 India Street down in Little Italy. It's a great place to watch the game. They got like 20 flat screen TVs and plus me and Lou Bush will be out there live and having a great time. So come out and join us. Earlier we were talking about Britney Spears and I was saying, you know, Britney, I think, has gotten to this point where she just doesn't believe anything good about herself anymore. And when the paparazzi said to her, Britney, you're hot, she said, that's mean. They said, why is that mean? And she said, it's just sarcastic and rude because she doesn't believe anything good about herself. And there's a big part of me that can relate to it because years ago, I was addicted to alcohol. I was just a lonely dude. I had kind of arranged my life in a way to where... My friends and my family couldn't reach me anymore. Turn the phone off. I would close the blinds in my apartment. I would drink. And I would do that every day. And nobody knew what I was doing. But I was drinking massive amounts of alcohol to the point where I was getting sick. And then I would drink again. And so there was a lot of what I was talking about this morning that I can relate to. And I finally got to a point where I was really scared because I was going to work.
I was starting to, my body was starting to reject the alcohol throughout the entire day, including when I was on the air. And even though I hadn't drank before work, which was next, I knew that my body was rebelling against the alcohol. And I knew I was going to die because I was overweight and drinking and smoking. And I knew I was going to die. And so as a last resort, Because I tried to do all this different stuff on my own to quit and to try to control it. And as a last resort, I remember crying out to Jesus Christ and asking him, all right, can you help me out and help to remove this from me? And I was afraid to ask the folks on the show. I was afraid to ask Eddie. And I was afraid to ask Sky. And I was afraid to ask my girlfriend, now my wife. I was afraid to ask them what they thought about me going into rehab. And I wouldn't do it. I just wouldn't.
bring it up. And that night when I asked Christ to come into my life, instantly, it was like a sensation that came over me that everything was going to be all right. And that I could finally tell my friends what was going on at which, you know, they knew that there was a problem, but I could finally tell them what was going on. And I could tell my then wife, and then I went and got some help. But the amazing thing is, is that that experience with Christ has stayed with me. And Eddie can remember times, you know, Eddie's been my best friend for years, and Eddie can remember times way back. Eddie, I don't know if you remember when we first came to San Diego, and I went through this kind of God period. Like, it was very brief, but, like, remember when we would be over at Royce's house, and we would be doing that? Remember we used to have to do, like, a bitboard thing? Our report, yeah. And I remember there was a period of time that I went through where, like, didn't want to see anything that was...
too bad on the computer. It was a brief period because Royce used to look at some stuff and want to see some stuff. But I would go through these periods and then they would go away and when things got good for me it was like, well, whatever. I don't need God anymore. Well, I have not left that. It's stayed with me and it's kept kind of growing. I know that there are people that are listening that are experiencing loneliness or they're experiencing experiencing the loss of a loved one, a brother or a sister or a husband or a wife, or they're going through a divorce, or they don't have enough money to be able to pay for their kids to be watched, or they don't have enough money to pay for rent, don't know where the rent's coming from this month, or they're in a situation where you're so addicted to drugs, and maybe nobody knows, maybe your parents don't know about it. Maybe your wife doesn't know about it. Your husband or your wife doesn't know about it. Maybe you have a secret that you don't tell anybody that makes you feel miserable, like an eating disorder or something. Maybe you're laying in a hospital bed right now and you're listening. Or maybe you're driving in your car right now and you feel like I'm talking just specifically to you. The reason that I tell you all this stuff on Friday is because I know that there's a lot of people listening that are experiencing exactly what I'm
telling you about right now, loneliness. And I want to tell you that there is hope. Hope is a real tough word. And when I say tough, what I mean is it's a really, really powerful word. Sometimes it's in short demand. A lot of us don't have it where you think, well, hope, what is that? I don't have anything to look forward to. I got nothing. I got nothing. Well, I used to think that too. And the night that I invited Jesus Christ to come into my life and have a relationship with me, all of it changed and it's continued to change. And I can tell you that today I feel so much better about myself. And I really do mean that. I mean that so 100% genuinely. I really do mean that. And I changed my life completely around. Changed it completely around. I'm such a different human being today than I used to be. I'm a different guy. 50 billion percent different. And so it can be that way for you. For me, it was accepting Christ into my life. Play this song about hope every Friday from a band called Third Day. And it's called Tunnel. Really, really listen to the words to the song. Because the words are very powerful and moving if you need hope in your life. The lovely and talented Missy's coming up next. Go Bolts! Go Bolts! Go Bolts! Go Bolts! Don't pretend to know what you're thinking. What you're doing.
