The show opened with Mikey joking about Tom Brady's 'pimp limp' after his taped ankle, then Eddie explained the P1 listener concept and rules. Later, Sky defended her dislike of fish while Eddie teased her about converting to 'radical fish,' and Sean's April Fool birthday sparked jokes. The highlight was the Dumb Chick Challenge where Ashley dominated, correctly answering questions about the Nile River, darts bullseye, and the Model T, while Rob and Sky struggled with geography and music trivia.
What happened, in order
Pimp Limp Talk
Mikey jokes that Tom Brady's heavily taped ankle and limp are a 'pimp limp,' sparking a brief, humorous debate about what that means.
P1 Definition
Mikey explains that a P1 listener is a priority one fan who turns others onto the show, outlines the rules (turn radio down, get to the point, no cussing), and describes the show's reality‑TV‑on‑radio style.
Sky's Fish Aversion
Sky refuses to eat fish despite Eddie's persistent teasing about converting her to 'radical fish,' highlighting her strong dislike for any seafood.
Sean's Birthday April Fool
The crew notes that sound‑effects guy Sean's birthday is April 1st, April Fool's Day, and they joke about the inevitable birthday‑related conversations he must have.
Ashley's Tuna Cake
Ashley presents a homemade tuna cake that she calls a 'bomb,' but the others find it disgusting and joke about its awful aroma and taste.
Dumb Chick Challenge Intro
Mikey announces the upcoming Dumb Chick Challenge game, explains the point‑based format, and teases that the team will finally discuss the topic after being flooded with emails.
Rob's Mojave Question
During the Dumb Chick Challenge, Boston Rob incorrectly guesses that the Mojave Desert is in Arizona or New Mexico, when it is actually located in California.
Ashley Wins Dumb Chick Challenge
Ashley clinches the Dumb Chick Challenge by correctly answering a three‑point question about the Model T, finishing with a 5‑0 sweep while Rob and Sky score nothing.

is 6-0-3. The LAPD were called out to Brittany's house last night after Brittany and her friend Sam got into a verbal fight right outside her security gate. We have a Tom Brady sighting. He practiced yesterday for the first time with a heavily taped ankle and has a limp. It's a pimp limp. Yeah, what is that? A pimp limp? You know, when you're pimping. Yeah, he's just pimping. That's cool. That's it. That's cool. Totally. It's just a Pimp limp is all it is. You're going to realize that. What about Eli? Is he doing the pimp limp, Eddie? No, he's not. He ain't a pimp. He's not a pimp. He ain't pimping. I get it. Now everything makes sense why he's out there throwing the ball healthy looking. It's because he don't got that pimp limp. Welcome to the show. It's a Mikey show. We weren't here yesterday. I was feeling a little cold-ish, but mostly it was a personal leave day. I just needed a...
I needed to recharge some batteries. My wife and I have had challenges, you know, not with each other, thank God, but with life. Life's just been throwing some curveballs. And we wanted to be able to, and I got some family in town, and we wanted to be able to take a break and recharge and feel, you know, like a battery feels after it's been plugged in. And so we do. I do, and I hope she does too. So lots of stuff to talk about. I'm glad I'm back in here. 570-1053 is the phone number. Oh, and we saw Shauna's baby. Oh, really? Dude, he is so beautiful, man. I tripped out. I tripped out. He is such a good-looking kid, man. And just big. He's a big boy, man. He's a really big boy. 570-1053 is a phone number. My name is Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Let's see. What would I say if I knew that you've never heard the Mikey show before and I wanted to let you know what the show was like? I would say there's seven people on the Mikey show, which is a lot for a morning radio program. It's a lot.
The show can best be described as reality. Like, you know how you have reality TV shows? It's like reality TV, but on the radio. We all make a point to have the radio show mirror life. That's our thing. And so what you hear is what you get. And the hope is, the reason that you do it... The reason that I enjoy that style of radio is, A, I'm completely turned off by something when it doesn't seem realistic to me. And B, I believe that you'll form a relationship with us. You'll have a relationship with us. It'll be like we're all friends. We're all part of the same deal. We call our listeners P1s. That stands for priority one. And what is a P1? Mainly a P1 is somebody that turns their other people, friends, family members, or whatever that don't listen to the Mikey show, they turn them on to the Mikey show and let them know, hey, you're missing out. If you're listening to this other show, you're missing out. This is my favorite show, and just check it out for a week. And P1s also, when they call in, they turn their radio down, get to the point, and they don't cuss. That's a P1 as well. And we always say, know the rules.
Say, know the rules, because those are the rules. Turn the radio down, get to the point, don't cuss. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. I've known Eddie for about 25 years, and we've been best friends for about 20 years. The reason I say 25, but best friends for 20, he despised me when we first met. I was dating his sister. I don't blame him. Plus, I was an idiot, and that had a little bit to do with it. It played a role, for sure. Mostly my sister. Yeah. But Eddie knows more about sports than anybody I know. And is today Media Day, Eddie, when they start the media stuff with all the football and all the people? I think so. Where they start asking the stupid questions. Media Day is always dumb questions. Everybody comes in for the Super Bowl, so you get random... journalists from all over the place and they just they don't have anything to ask these guys you know so they'll ask them you know the most random stuff uh did you do anything interesting this weekend um yeah actually you know we were running errands on sunday and i just got this like really weird feeling and we were kind of we were out in east county and i said you know what let's go to let's go to saquon
Let's just head out to the casino and goof off for a little while. Is that the one that we did our poker tournament at, the Mikey Show poker thing? Uh-huh, one of them, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I know what place you mean. Yeah, so we went out there, and I played blackjack for like 20 minutes and walked away with 800 bucks. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Dude, you should have called me. Why? Because I had that... Feeling too. Yeah. That winning feeling. Well, why didn't you go out there? Because. You need me to go bring you? Yeah. Running mates, dude. Come on. Next time, call me. And then we can split whatever we win. Or lose. Yeah, but what if Eddie won. Well, wait a minute. That's not fair. Yeah. I mean, what if you had gone this weekend and you didn't win anything and Eddie won 800? That means that you would take four. Yeah, and he would. I don't want that. Yeah, I don't understand that. Next time I could be a big winner. You never win. That's true. He keeps playing until he'll lose it. He can win. I've seen it, but then he gives it right back. Well, you've got to keep putting it in. That's right. In order to lose it, you've got to keep giving it. That is true. Skye is our news girl. She's 30 years of age and doesn't like fish. You know what? She passes on fish. Yeah, my husband was trying again last night. With what? The fish. What fish?
Well, there's the KFC near where we live. And then he starts going off to me how awesome it would be if it was one of those KFC Long John Silver combos. And I'm, like, just listening to him. Like, I don't really give a rip. But, yeah, that would be great, babe. No, I'm telling you. And then he starts on this, like, 10-minute rant about how I would love, like, fish and fish sticks. Wait, what? Yeah. You know, if I can eat a Rubio's fish taco, a fish stick is, like, The McNugget of fish talk. I don't know, dude. It's as if he wants her. He's trying to convert her to radical Islam. It's radical fish. Totally. And she just, she's telling him, I'm not a fish guy. Like, is 10 years not enough for him to get the point? He's still trying. Okay, babe. Great. Sounds great. Like, we know your limits here. Like, we would never force you to try and eat, like, fish. Because we know that's impossible. Right. But there's, like, normal foods that we want you to try. But fish, come on.
It's impossible. With fish, the limits with Sky are very high. The limits are very high. Don't go there. It's one of those kind of don't go there. Like if I'm about to take the leap into trying fish, I'm going to go to Long John Silver's. What? Yeah. Okay, babe. All right. That's great. I don't think I've ever eaten at Long John Silver's. I have no clue. I think I had one time like 10 years ago. I'm guessing it's just all fish and chips, right? That's their deal? Everything's breaded and fried. So it's like fish and shrimp and chips and everything and chips. Hush puppies, maybe. Yeah, those are good. Sean is our sound effects guy. 37 years of age, but close. He's close to 38. His birthday is April 1st. Okay, all right. Okay, all right. Okay, all right. I just said your birthday is April 1st. All right, and we can leave it at that. I did. I hadn't said anything. All right, then let's move on. It's also known as April Fool's Day. No, that's true. Yeah, it is April Fool's Day. Happy Fool's Day. Yeah, that's right. Happy Fool's Day birthday is what you can say. He's never heard that. He loves it. Shut up. I told my wife on Wednesday, I said, yeah, there's certain things that.
I'm really glad that I don't have those certain things that everybody will ask about. Like Sean, the first thing he tells somebody his birthday, he's got to have a conversation. And we do a church growth group Wednesday night, my wife and I, which is the coolest thing in the world because you meet some really cool people. One of the couples is this guy, Jeff, and his wife is from Chile. And her name is Macarena. Come on. And I said to my wife, I said, I, I obviously I want to ask, but how many, like if she had a count, how many, what number am I? So I just don't. Yeah. Don't be that guy. I can't be that guy. And I said, you know, I could know her for 20 years and I don't think I'd feel comfortable enough yet to say, okay, so how often?
Well, every day, obviously. Every day, you know, or every single time I meet a new human being. Every single time. What I would like to witness, I would both enjoy it, yet be disgusted and repulsed by the guy that does get introduced and goes, takes it to this extreme. Oh, yeah. Hey, Macarena. No. Like, because that guy exists, right? Oh, yeah. Of course. Like, there's two guys. There's the guy that I thought about being, which is, wow, how often do you hear the Macarena thing? And then there's the guy that sings the song. Like, the guy that sings the song. He sings it to her. He actually sings Macarena. And he does the body movements. He does the Macarena. Oh, yeah. Sure. Of course. You have to. Well, yeah. If you're that guy. If you're that guy, it's not.
Yeah, it isn't enough to just sing the song. You can't even control yourself. No. It's an instinct if you're that guy. No, he did. Absolutely. Goodness, that brings back nightmares, right? Yeah. Eddie, when you worked at Star, how many times did you hear this song? Actually, not very much. They didn't play it at Star? No. It wasn't a Star song? Not really, no. I mean, it might have been before my time, but we didn't play it when I was there. Okay, then here's my question. How many times would you say you've heard it? Oh, thousands. I think I've probably heard Macarena more than I've heard Stairway to Heaven. I don't know how. First in a string of hits by Los Del Rio. Oh, yes. They're so good. Yeah. Hey, Macarena. Global sensation. That's right. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years of age and today wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
And what's happening with you, Ash? What did you do this weekend? Anything interesting? My friends came into town. Who? Jocelyn and John. There you go. Yeah. They're in Pasadena because she's in grad school. But I fixed them up. You did? Yeah. Are they, like, in love? Yeah. Are they going to get married? And I give myself all the credit. Like, I told her that because of that, I'm like a spot in the wedding. Yeah. Like, she doesn't really have a choice. Oh. What she said was fine. That was fair. Set them up. What else are you going to do? They came in to visit and it was really fun. Did you barbecue? No. Did you make them any of your delectable microwave delights? No. You did not break out the Ashley microwave cookbook? What do you mean? That's not what I was saying. Hang on a second. What do I microwave? Hang on. I thought you said. That you will put stuff in the microwave, like a lot of your dishes. I thought I saw a common theme of, you know, let's put some stuff in the microwave.
You put like a little bit of something, something, and then you steam it in the microwave. No, I know what you're referring to. What am I referring to? I know what you're referring to, and you don't even remember, so you can't even follow through with the joke. Okay, I'll tell you. Give me two seconds. So let me help you with the joke. No, I promise. I promise it isn't a joke. I promise. That's shot at me. I promise. It was referring to Costco salmon. Actually, come back. Eddie said that I would defrost it in the microwave. Actually. The Costco salmon is delicious. Actually. Oh, no. I'm just saying you can spray a little, I can't believe it's not butter, lemon pepper scented spray on it real nice. You didn't make like a tuna thing in that microwave? No. I don't really use the microwave. The only thing I use microwave for is for my 100 calorie popcorn. Which I often have for dinner, but that's the only thing. I'm thinking of steaming. Maybe it was that you did steaming on the stovetop. I do often steam the broccoli or the zucchini. That is true. That is true. And that's what I was thinking. I'm sorry. That's what I was thinking of. It's the Ashley steam in a pot. There is a tuna thing. I do remember. Remember, I told her she eats like a feral cat. You take a can of albacore tuna. You take the albacore tuna. The white tuna, whatever. And you pull salt and pepper. We are so sorry.
Well, Pam, like a crab cake on the stove. That's right. But it's not. It's a tuna cake. It's a bomb, dude. Tuna cake. It's so disgusting. You don't know until you try it. Don't knock it until you try it. Oh, man. Boston Rob is our phone screener. He's Seth's friend. Rob couldn't even choke that down. That's right. No way. Could you imagine the aromas coming out of her kitchen? Like a Vietnamese market. Mudfish. Did a trash bag rip open? What is that? Ashley, why are all those seagulls sitting out on your porch? Zet is 22 years old, and he's the seventh member of the show, the youngest. He's a sweet guy. He's a very sweet man. He's tall. Zeth is 6'2". He's kind of athletic. I've seen him throw a football in the parking lot with Eddie and Boston Rob. He's got a strong arm. You a pretty athletic dude? Yeah. 570-1053 is our phone number. I took Rebecca to California Mining Company. Oh, your favorite. Oh, no. Stop it.
She loves it, you know? Did you get something good? That's my way of saying to her, I love you very much. It's not easy. It's not easy. You got that right, Hillary. Try it. If you think differently, Hillary, try it. Go try it. She just loves that place. Ow! It's just her favorite thing ever. See, that immediately red flag pops up for me because Rebecca doesn't like a lot of food, and so... So what is it about that California mining company? Well, she gets the same thing every time. Okay. She gets the miner's club. A sandwich? That's right, Eddie. A sandwich. That's it? What does she love it so much? It comes with fries, you know. It comes with fries. It says club sandwich? Club sandwich? That's it? That place makes me nuts. You can get a club anywhere, Mike. I know that. You can. I know.
I know. Is it a really good club sandwich? Hey, and listen, Eddie, I don't know. What are you doing to me? I don't know. They want to go check this place out. Come on. I heard they got a good club. Well, let me tell you. Here's the deal. Let me tell you. Like, the deal is, is that, and don't you think for a second, oh, what is this, Mr. Snobby BS? I love, I love the place right next door, which is the same prices. It's that Mexican restaurant. Del... Sky, why can I never remember the name of my favorite Mexican restaurant? Cochina? Cochina Del Charro. Cochina. Cochina. Not Cochina. Cochina. Cochina. Cochina Del Charro, my favorite Mexican restaurant. You like Olive Garden? I love Olive Garden. So it ain't a foo-foo thing. No. It's just I walk in there and the first thing I hear is screaming kids and my kid becomes instantly one of them. Oh, God.
Because he hears the other kids screaming. And so he's like, oh, I guess it's a scream palace. So you instantly just hear screaming. And the food to me is like, I'm like, so when we finish with chow, do we go lift weights out in the yard? It can't be that bad. Give me a break with it. And she's smiling. And not only does she love it. When we'll get home and we'll be laying in bed, she'll go, dinner was so good. And she's not kidding around. She loves it. She just loves it. I know it. P1, let's take some phone calls from you guys. P1 Geek is on the line. Geek, are you there? I'm here. Hey, what's up? I'm calling to talk to Eddie. I hate to throw you under the bus here, man, but you made a pretty big mistake last Friday. You said... You were quoted as saying that Wolverine's bones were filled with titanium. Yes, that is right. I thought you might want to correct yourself. I did not say they were filled with titanium. I don't think you did either. I never would say that. That was a quote. You did say it. I did not say that. Pull the tape. Someone pull the tape. P1 Geek, what is the... Before you say, Eddie, would you like... In fact, I even said he had an adamantium skeleton. What? A what? So P1 Geek, he...
Listen, I think if I'm to read between the lines, what Eddie is saying is, you know, he... You can try and out-geek me if you want, but it's not very... Listen, I mean, give me a break. I wouldn't say that his bones were filled with anything. That would be ridiculous. That would be ridiculous. That's why I'm calling. Thank you very much. I will pull the tape. Pull it. P1 Brian? Yeah, how you doing? What's going on? Excuse me? Sorry, I'm furious. Eddie's furious about the last caller. How dare he? What's going on, man? Not much. I just wanted to share my story with you. I heard you say you guys were talking about new listeners. I started listening to you guys last week. I'm going to be honest. I used to listen to Howard, but got sick of paying the bill. And my friend was telling me about you guys and that you guys would have Sean Merriman on weekly and was just telling me a little bit about you guys. So I started listening to you last week and I'm enjoying it. And I just had a couple of questions about. crew there. Yeah, sure. Go ahead. One, I went on the website. You mentioned the website last week, so I went on to check out everybody and see what everyone looks like and what they were all about. The Ashley girl, she tried out for a marriage title. I saw her. I didn't know that she was from your show. Is she... I hope I don't know. Is she serious or is she... You know, I'm glad you asked that because I do want to clear this up.
I don't know. No, no, no. It's a great question. I'm really glad that you asked, and I do want to clear this up. You know, people have said, Ashley going on American Idol, what is that? A publicity stunt? Well, duh. I mean, no, you know, I sent her down there for my health. I mean, of course it was a publicity stunt, and of course I wanted her to go down there and get some FaceTime for the Mikey show. Right, right. Does Ashley really sing like that? Yes, you bet. Your bottom dollar. That's Ashley. That's Ashley. That's the way she thinks. That's awesome. That is awesome. Thank you. It is by definition awesome. I agree. Awesome. Go ahead, Brian. And she has a problem with her armpits or something I was reading on the website? She does, in fact. That's a big one. She does, in fact. Ashley, does that have a name that... Disease? No, you know, that thing, you know. Does that have a name? I don't know. It's only under my armpits. Yeah, it's only under her armpits. It's kind of designated, got an area. I've had it since I was like 11. And now, Mikey, you're kind of the boss of the show? You're the guy that runs it and everyone kind of follows suit? Is that how it works? That is correct. I'm the host of the program. Okay, got it.
And you guys ever travel or do you stay in the studio most of the time? Sometimes Seattle, Bangkok, Lima, Peru, and every once in a while we will broadcast live from Cairo on top of a pyramid. Tour stop. That's right. I just want to let you know I'm a new listener and you guys are really funny and I'm going to keep listening. We love you, brother. Thank you for listening, man. We appreciate it. Thanks, guys. Have a good day. Put it on the board. P1, Jason has a recommendation for Ashley. Go ahead, Jason. Hey, Mikey. What I'd like to see is Ashley do a cookbook for charity. Oh, what a great idea. I love that. You mean some of my recipes I use? Yeah, the recipes you use. Maybe find the charity. You know, make up a little pamphlet type book like they do in college. It's not counterintuitive though, Jason. You know, buying a cookbook you'll never use. The cookbook of humor. The cookbook is what, Seth? Of humor. I see. Yeah.
Maybe Ashley could add to the different recipes like, I actually ate this, and then people will find some good humor. I think it would definitely be a weight loss cookbook. Certainly. It's a diet. It is a diet. That's exactly what it would be. Right, because you throw it up after you eat it. It could just be a cookbook for pets. That's true, too. The weight loss slash... Pet Lovers Cookbook. You guys are jerks. Or the Bulimics Cookbook. Sean, stop being so repulsive. Wait. Don't be repulsive, Sean. I'll do my best. Thank you very much. So I saw two of the Academy Award nominated films in the category of Best Picture. No Country for Old Men. And there will be blood. Oh, not atonement? I did not. Oh, I thought for sure. You know, I kind of want to see all the Best Picture nominees, but that atonement, ay-yi-yi, right? It's going to be rough. Eddie, have you seen either of these movies? I have not. No Country for Old Men. Good movie. Really? Yes. Good movie.
That guy, Javier Bardin, that plays the bad guy, he's scary. He's a scary man. Have you seen it, Sean? Yeah, I saw it. Holy cow. Did you like it? I loved it. It was just the last 15 minutes I found very confusing. That's what everyone said last night or yesterday when we saw it. It took my whole family, and everybody was bothered by it. First, I watched it for free on the Internet, which I'm not sure. What's the deal, Seth? How do they get away with that? You can't download it. You can only view it, and that makes it legal. How do they do that? I'm not 100% sure, but I think they're an offshore website so they can host it because they're not limited by the U.S. copyright laws. Got it. I mean, it's terrible when you watch it because you're watching a guy with a video camera in the movie theater. And I don't necessarily feel like I'm stealing it because I'm going to go see it. I watch it, and then I go see it, unless it's terrible. But I want to see it for the visual and, you know, sonic experience of it. So, No Country for Old Men. Really good. There Will Be Blood. Terrific. Great movie. Not the feel-good comedy of the year. No. Not the feel-good comedy of the year. Not like Magnolia. No. That was hysterical.
But that Daniel Day-Lewis, he's powerful. Crazy. He's in another planet of talent. And it's really a good movie. It's long. It's about two and a half hours long. But by the end of the film, I think that you will be completely sold on Daniel Day-Lewis' portrayal of Daniel Plainview. That's good. That's cool. I like hearing Irish guys have English or American accents. It's pretty cool. Do you guys know what restaurant week is? Have you ever heard of this? Yes. Restaurant week. I did it last year. You did? Yeah. Sky, you ever heard of restaurant week? I think I know. It's perfect for you. It's perfect for you. Yeah, Sky would love it. It's a bonanza of savings. Mm-hmm. It's all these killer restaurants in San Diego that you would normally go, I ain't paying that for a meal.
Like, what's the point? And a lot of people feel that way, that aren't foodies, that aren't, like, totally into food and whatever. They go, uh-uh. It's just not going to happen. For instance, Pample Moose, my favorite restaurant in San Diego, they are a part of Restaurant Week. So there's a bunch of restaurants that take part in it and go, okay, we're in. We'll do it. And what they do, they all have to agree to do, is lower their prices. So Pample Moose, for $40 a person, will give you a three-course meal. And it's the real deal. It's not any different than a three-course meal you'd regularly get there for. But it's a set three-course meal. Yeah, you have to choose from three different items for appetizer, entree, and dessert. It is legit, Sky. It's not like they're all strict and like you can only get this. It's legit. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They don't put the like, oh, we're not going to put the very expensive or good items out there. It's like the good stuff. For example. Some friends of ours, Ocean Air is doing it as well. And they're going and they told me that the crab cakes are on there and all the stuff that we like. Which is their bread and butter baby. The crab cakes are like their, that's their thing that they're like. And what the idea is, you'll try it and you won't be able to help yourself. You'll have to go back during the time. Sky, you look skeptical. You look like me when I hear Hillary Clinton talk. This sounds like an awesome idea for a lot of people. If you love food, if you love to save money.
But me, when I go to a restaurant, there'll be a menu of like 40 choices. There'll be one thing I want. So if I'm going to a restaurant and they're giving me three choices, my odds are not good. But they try to keep you in mind. Me, specifically the weirdest eater on the planet. Yes. No. They say the weirdest eater on the planet generally won't go for this, this, this, and this. But generally, the picky eater will have to like this. Can I preview the said menus? Yeah, I'll tell you like last night what you would have got for dinner at Pamplemousse and been all right with. What? You'd have got the hamburger. The best hamburger you'll ever have in your life. It would have been the best hamburger you've ever... I'm telling you... I don't like hamburgers. No. A $40 hamburger. Sky, it's... Listen. There we go. I'm sorry. Okay, let me explain. I understand. Don't eat a long time silver, lady. Come on. I'll talk you into it. Give me a chance. You've got to give me a chance. I know she's already checked out, but I'm going to try to convince her. Let me convince. Hang on. Let me try. What? Because last night we were there, I go, people got to know about this.
rad. For most people, it sounds perfect. Just so people know, so I can put it out there, I have no interest in this. Pamplemousse doesn't pay me. They're not an endorser. I'm not an endorser. They're not a sponsor. I'm just passionate about food. I'm a foodie. I love it. I love cooking. I love food. To me, Jeffrey, the guy that owns Pamplemousse, the dude is like... He's like... He's like Eddie Van Halen is on guitar. He's rad. There's just no other way to put it. The guy gets it, and he takes regular stuff like a veal parmesan, and he has it on his menu, but he's like, okay, everything I do, when I do it, it's got to be the greatest thing you've ever had. Whoa, is that how it sounds? Exactly. Really? I believe it. The guy was successful in New York in Manhattan and was like, And his restaurant in Manhattan, in New York City, was like blowing up. It was the biggest thing in New York. He came to vacation in San Diego and loved it and said, it doesn't matter. I'm moving to San Diego. I'm opening up. So he came here. He opened Pample Moose. And he goes, French fries, I want it to be the greatest fries you've ever tasted in your life. Hamburger, I want it to be the greatest hamburger you've ever had in your life. And I'll do stuff to it and work my magic and you'll think it's the best. So they do appetizer, entree, dessert.
The appetizer, Skye, Rebecca got. And I usually go to Rebecca because you are like her. You're both picky. Yeah, what'd she get? She got the heirloom tomato with basil and mozzarella. You're out. Are you out? The tomato? Are you out on the tomato? Tomato, right? I forgot for a second. I'm sorry. Tomato. Who are you? But it's so good. Who are you? It's so delicious. Who are you? Skye. It is different than your average tomato because heirloom is different. Don't start with that. Thank you, Eddie. I know it. Please, Eddie. Help me. There's other things you could have ordered. Okay, what about this? What about they take white corn, they roast it, they take it off the cob, and they make it into a soup. Oh, that sounds so good. Dude, that's what I got. That's one of my favorite types of food. Sounds creamy. Too creamy. All right. All right. Texture. It's white, and I don't like white. All right. You got me. Do they have black corn? I'll eat the mess out of that. All right, Sean. A long way. All right. Well, with that, with that, with that, with that, we're going to do something on the show today called the Dumb Chick Challenge. Yes.
It's Tuesday. Yeah, I know. We missed it yesterday. We didn't get to do it. So that means we skipped it. Well, we were flooded with hundreds of emails that said, you know, what's the deal? So they're protesting outside. We're finally going to talk about that topic that came up last week that we didn't get to. Have you ever found anything weird in a rental car? Oh, man. And, you know, a lot of us have. So get ready on that one. We're going to play cell phone mishaps today. You ever had a cell phone mishap? You think you called? You didn't know you called somebody, but you accidentally did. Phone's in your pocket, dials them up, they hear you saying something they shouldn't, or vice versa. Somebody calls your phone, you pick it up, and they don't realize that they've called you a mistake, you hear something weird. It's called cell phone mishaps. Wuss Rock Jukebox will be on the show today. Favorite of our P1 listeners, where guys call in and have to sing wimpy songs. And then we'll do P1 trivia so that somebody can have the opportunity to come into the studio on Tuesday and hang out the entire show. I'm going to have a conversation with Jeffrey about you, Sky, and make sure that there's something on there. There needs to be. No. There needs to be. Maybe to cater for the masses, not for the weirdo. There's too many people that are like you that don't want to trust. He's got to find that perfect thing that no one can resist. Man. Let's see.
Brian Regan in the stand-up spotlight. The Mikey Show Stand-Up Spotlight 105.3 Some people get really upset if you get their name wrong, especially if they have a name that's similar to another name. Carolyn and Caroline. They got to think about that, man. Don't get that wrong, because they're going to drill you. Hi, Carolyn. It's Caroline. It's Caroline, Brian. It's Brian. Yes, my name is Brian. Very hard to say my name correctly. Because my name is... Can you say that? Very few can. Correctly. This is the Mikey Show. Baxophone? Obviously, everybody first is like, it's obviously the triangle. But if you really listen to it, you go, I don't know. It's 646. The president gave his final State of the Union last night. He focused on the economy. Not a good start for the Giants. The flu bug has hit the team.
and their flight into Phoenix was delayed after cornerback Aaron Ross threw up all over the plane. Oh, gross. Well, the thing, okay, I mean, obviously very sensational, but the big picture there is, do you guys hear that? Sean, something on your end is causing a flutter. There we go. Oh, God, that makes me feel like I'm going to throw up. For whatever reason, something shakes in my inner ear when I hear that. Anyway, so the dude on the plane, you've got to figure that that just sent flu spores all over that plane, recirculating the air. Yeah, three guys after that got sick. Are you kidding me? So now the team is really concerned about, you know.
Yeah. A whole outbreak of flu. I'm sure Belichick planned it that way. Oh, come on. I'm sure he planted the flu bug in there. That's ridiculous. Well, I mean, listen, at this point, we can't put it past him, you know? It's not my fault of Belichick's. No, he's not a witch. Yeah, he is. They just have weak immune systems. Is that the deal? Bunch of girls. All right. Okay. Fine. Tonight's a big night in the state of Florida. Oh. Republican primary tonight in Florida. And it's a two-man race, Eddie. So are we guessing that Giuliani may say bye after this? Oh, no, no, no. He'll probably come in third, but then he'll make one last stand on Super Tuesday. He'll say, let's see what happens Tuesday, next Tuesday. But I'm telling you, boy, was that a bad idea, right? I mean, that's just looking like the worst idea in the world. I'll wait till Florida.
I won't do anything, and then I'll wait until Florida. I'll kill him in Florida. He's getting killed in Florida. He's number three. I mean, today's the day, and they're saying he's probably going to come in third place. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So it's a two-man race between Romney and McCain. Like, they're neck and neck. And I'm with you, Eddie. I hope McCain does this. But they're saying they think that Romney has just the slightest edge. I don't trust that guy. It's that hair. It's a hair. It's too Ken doll-like. I don't like it. It's just, I don't know, man. Well, it was all that sweet campaigning he did in Jacksonville. Yeah. Where, you know, he talked with his dogs. Right. Good point. Where he was talking to all the black folk and said, who let the dogs out? He's down. He's down with the brown. And then he pointed out to another African-American guy, hey, it looks like you got some bling bling there. Ah, bling bling. By the way, these things I'm saying are not a joke. No. He really did this in Jacksonville last week. He really did that. You want to hear it? Yes. Hey, I can see a mirror. Come on. Who's got your camera, though? Who let the dogs out? Who? Oh, I get it. And then the black people went.
Wow, he's cool. I'm voting for that guy. He's down. He's just like us. Yeah. It's like looking in a mirror. Do you have the other one, Sean, where he says... The baby. The baby. Hey, buddy, how you doing? What's happening? You got some bling bling here, too. Man, I'll tell you what. Before I got the chance to meet Mr. Romney, I was... I was really suspicious. Yeah? Yeah, because I thought, man, he just looked like another rich white man from, yeah, another rich cracker from wherever he from. Oh, hell. Maryland, Massachusetts. Canada. Canada, whatever. I don't think he's from Canada. And then so I heard Mitt Romney gonna come talk, and I was like, yeah, I want to see what that's all about. And I came into it with all them.
preconceptions and everything. But then he said to me, he looked me around and I said, who let the dogs out? Woof, woof. And I was like, that brother's down. And then he said, and then he recognized my bling. And I was like, that dude know what bling is. I bet he's actually black. I was going to vote for Flavor Flav, now I'm voting for him. He was going to be my right in. But I said, I'm now a conservative Republican. And I'm voting for Romney. Okay. So last night at the State of the Union, President Bush talked about all kinds of stuff. I'm interested to hear what he has to say about clean energy and greenhouse gases. What does President Bush think about clean energy and greenhouse gases? Cut 43. Our security, our prosperity, and our environment all require reducing our dependence on oil. Last year, I asked you to pass legislation to reduce oil consumption over the next decade, and you responded. Together, we should take the next steps. Let us fund new technologies that can generate coal power while capturing carbon emissions. Let us increase the use of renewable power and emissions-free nuclear power. What is it?
Let us continue investing in advanced battery technology and renewable fuels to power the cars and trucks of the future. Let's create a new international clean technology fund, which will help developing nations like India and China make a greater use of clean energy sources. And let us complete an international agreement that has the potential to slow, stop, and eventually reverse the growth of greenhouse gases. Let us continue the Batmobile plan. Yeah. Developing the Batmobile. X-Wing fighter. X-Wing fighter. Well, thank you. I mean, that was... So brutal to watch. I can't handle all the clapping and the standing and the sitting and the... It is. Sky said that...
clinton that hillary and obama you know obviously they're both there and that they didn't acknowledge each other dude they were like a foot away from each other wow obama was sitting uh next to kennedy yeah and next to ted kennedy and you know who had just endorsed obama but hillary and you know the kennedys they know each other so hillary goes over and shakes ted kennedy's hand right And as she does that, Obama's less than a foot away. He like turns and starts talking to somebody else. So they never like make contact. They never say hello, acknowledge each other's presence, even though they're standing right next to each other. That's weird. Awkward. That's weird. I mean, it's only going to make more headlines if you do that. All right, don't go away. When we come back, I got to read you this email. It's something that I think we can all relate to. Who controls the thermostat where you work? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And also, when we come back, I want to play you a clip of Chuck Liddell from the UFC saying that he met a woman and what this woman asked him to do. It's a little shocking what this woman asked him to do to her. Coming up next. This is William Shatner, and you're listening to The Mikey Show. Featuring my good friend Sean and...

We got a new sponsor on the Mikey Show. Yay! Now, you know the deal, right, Sky? Before I do... And Sky and Eddie can attest to this. Before I will say yes to doing a...
you know, bringing a new sponsor on, I have to go down, investigate, make sure it's in fact, I was talking to Clint about it this weekend about how I have to do that. Uh, I've done that. And so I want to tell you about national polytechnic college of science. Yeah. Now check this out. You're maybe you're a dude right now and you're going, I really don't know what direction I want my life to go in. These are the things that they right here in San Diego that they offer classes in. Marine technology, commercial diving, some other stuff too, but I'll get into that later. And you may be saying to yourself, yeah, those are fancy words, but what is marine technology and commercial diving? I'm talking about those oil rigs that you see out in the Gulf of Mexico and you putting on the big spaceman uniform and going down underwater and welding those suckers and making some good dough. I mean, good dough. And I saw them out there training to do it. They're in these giant tanks, and it looked fun, and it's cool. And that's school. So anyway, if you want more information, go to natpoly.edu. N-A-T-P-O-L-Y.edu. You'll hear me talking about these guys, explaining more to you. But I'm telling you, I checked it out. It's the real deal. There you go. National Polytechnic College of Science.

I'm sitting there hitting the button. Nothing would happen. Hey, Ash, did we ever hear back from them about that problem? About from engineering, about the problem of the sticking mouse? We heard back from a couple of our other problems we've been having, but I haven't heard back from that one. It's brutal. Welcome back. It is 7.04. The Angelina Jolie pregnancy rumors are back in full swing after she wore a very loose-fitting dress to the Screen Actors Guild Awards this weekend. Roger Clemens' agent fires back with a 42-page report showing that Roger Clemens didn't use steroids. Oh, wow. I've got to read you this email coming up here in just a second. Who controls the thermostat where you work? Unless you work outside, this is a deal.
But first, I told you, when we came back, I was going to tell you about this deal with Chuck Liddell. What did this woman say to him that she wanted him to do to her? Oh, no. He told this story on Conan O'Brien Cup 31. Fans come up to you, and they ask you to punch them. I get it a lot, especially after the Inked episode where I hit Jason Ellis on the Inked. But I actually had a girl the other day, it was probably the first time, actually said, I really want to ask you to... Punch me in the face. And I'm like, really? You have to think about that? You want me to punch you in the face? So that didn't happen. I don't hit people. So you don't hit people. Because I've got to think, okay, you've been on the show before and you just came out here right now. That's the last thing I'm thinking is, I hope he hits me in the face. That's the last thing. Well, I saw you punching back there. I don't think you've been in too many fights. I'm telling you.
that it sounds like Chuck Liddell's speech is kind of... It's getting worse. Really? For sure. When those guys, football players too, when your brain slams into your skull, it's not supposed to. And so it causes damage. So the brain's like yolk inside an eggshell. It's not supposed to do that. You know, the past couple of weeks, there's this spot. In fact, honey, if you're listening, please get that rug today. Please. You guys know that area where that little bookshelf is between where we watch TV and the kitchen? Yep. Dude, I don't know what's up, man, but there's something that when you put your hand on the tile there and you rub your hand across it, it's real slippery in a certain spot. And there's nothing there. Like, we can't find anything there. It's just slippery. And that boy has slipped and fallen back and hit his head on that tile.
And so I said, we got to take his socks off. Don't have him run around with the socks. They're too slippery. Well, he did it the other day with just regular feet. And I went over there and I was feeling around and it's real slippery there. Like I actually was doing a thing where my parents were at the house and I do this thing where I run from him and I hide around the corner. And when he comes around, I jump out and go boo. And he laughs and I have my socks on and I slipped and water went everywhere at that same spot. And so it's real slippery. So I told Rebecca, we got to get a rug. Well, I'm concerned about that. Him hitting his head. And I know part of it is first time parent. So we freak out about everything. If he gets a bloody nose, I think he's hemorrhaging. You know, I mean, it's like anything that happens. But I'm like, you know, we got it. He can't fall like that, you know. But anyway, I'm telling you, when those guys get concussions a few times. It messes him up. The thing about it is they always have said that MMA, UFC is much safer than boxing because in boxing, that's all you do is get punched in the face, punched in the head, punched in the head. But in UFC, you basically take one or two shots in the face and you usually are knocked out. But you've seen when these guys are laying on the ground and somebody's just punching them. With Chuck Liddell...
is he is almost strictly a stand-up fighter. So he's taken a lot of shots to the head, as opposed to guys that know jujitsu and wrestling and stuff like that who do other things. So, you know, it doesn't surprise me at all that Chuck is kind of showing signs of, you know, speech weirdness. Well, you know, Muhammad Ali has, I believe he has Parkinson's disease, and Parkinson's is a brain deal. And if you watch him talk, you go, oh, man, you know, you got to believe that it was from years of getting punched in the head. Yeah, I mean, all you got to do is listen to Evander Holyfield talk and listen to an interview with him when his career first started, and now it's like a different human being. Yeah. It's really bad. It's bad, man. It's crazy. I'm going to read you this email here in just a second. I also want to remind you that M-Tube has begun. Oh, dang. You can start sending us your videos promoting the Mikey Show. You've got to post them on YouTube, then send them to us, and the winner is going to get a brand new high-definition camcorder. Details are on the website. Do we have a keyword for that? I'll make one right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll come up with a keyword so you can go to keyword. Let's call it M-Tube.
Call it MTube. So go to MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Type in the keyword MTube. M as in Mikey. Tube. And it will take you right to how you can win this high-definition camcorder. P1, Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Hey, Mikey, I just wanted to comment about the whole Chuck Liddell thing about punching people in the face. Right. Watching a show on National Geographic was on Sunday called Fight Science. Yeah. And they had some fighters on there, including Peter Ortiz and some other ones. One hit to the face was 2,000 pounds. That's a whole ton. Of pressure. With one punch. Dang. Oh, wow, man. It's crazy. Can you imagine that? Dude.
Have you guys seen, and Matt, you too, I don't know if you've seen this. There was this show, I think it was on National Geographic as well, of these guys that meet up in L.A. and they call themselves the Dog Brothers. You heard about that? No, I've never heard of that. Dude, you've got to watch and see if you can see this again on National Geographic. It's these guys that meet up in a warehouse in L.A. and they fight each other like Fight Club. The program was called Fight Club Dog Brothers. They call themselves the Dog Brothers. And it's a ton of dudes. And they go in there, and they just measure each other up, and they ask, okay, if you're my size, you go, hey, man, you got a partner yet? And they go, no. And you want one? Yeah. And they go out on this mat, and anything goes. There's no rules. Anything goes.
But the deal is that when it's over, it's over. And they're fighting with sticks. Some dudes were fighting with whips. You get to choose your weapon. You get to choose your weapon. That's crazy. There were some guys that they wanted to fight with knives, but obviously the knives will kill and they're sharp and everything. So they came up with these wooden knives that they would use, but that wasn't realistic enough. And so they came up with these knives, that shock that they use in law enforcement to like, you know, train in law enforcement. So they had these knives that when they were like, they're in there with each other and they would like slice at one another and you'd hear. It was. Crazy. Now you said in this program when it's over, it's over. Is it like a timed thing or is it like whoever bleeds from the head first? No, no, no. It's a matter of like submission. So somebody like... Whoever says I've had enough, I'm sure. Yeah, yeah. You could tell like when it was over. Like when it, you know, okay. A guy gets knocked out or something like that. And like to these guys' credits, like they'd stand up and shake each other's hands, but they were bloodied.
And, I mean, it was crazy, man. It was called Dog Brothers, and they're really into it. It was nuts. Do you remember what channel it was on? I think it was National Geographic Channel. Check that out. That's weird. It was in high def. It was pretty crazy. Thank you, Matt. I appreciate the call. 5701053, tell me what you think of this. Mikey, I got a serious problem here at work. I work in an office with about 10 people. I share a cubicle-like space with a woman about 45 years old. She is always cold. Women are always cold. That is so true. Women are always cold. Garbage. She is always cold and cranks the heat in our space to about 85 degrees every morning. No. 85? That sounds good. 85? That's an inferno. That's an inferno. It is an inferno. Love it. I complain all the time about being hot. I complain about being hot, but she doesn't care. I don't know how to deal with it. I sweat all day long, and by the end of the day, I smell. It's not me, Sean. It drives me crazy. Do you have any advice on what I should do? P1 Vince. I don't. That sucks. I don't have advice. Listen, it's the longest-running debate of mankind.
Cavemen were turning the heat down, and the cavewomen were turning the heat up. This has gone on since the beginning of time. How do you stop it? How do you stop this? Rob and Ashley share a thermometer, a thermostat, and they battle all the time. You know what else they do? They try to sneak. Totally. Absolutely. You have to. Without telling them. Like, Ashley will go to the bathroom, and I have to go in there and check it. And Rob will go change it, and then she'll come back. And the first thing she does is see, did Rob mess with my thermostat? Or the thermostat. Right. And she'll change it accordingly. She's always cold. He's always hot. Yeah. Fortunately, my Adderall has helped with that a lot, because it makes me really hot. And I would even leave her little post-its saying, bring in a hoodie. Yeah, he did. Like, I can only take off so much. Now, granted, when I do, you're welcome. I mean, I don't want to get mobbed in that. Rob's like, yeah, it's getting hot in here. Well, what do you do? 570-1053, if this is something you deal with at work, the people that don't like your temperature.
It's awful, man. It's awful. It really is. See, I believe that Rob is the one that is in the right. 100%. I'll explain why. Yeah. Rob already did, kind of. If you are a person that gets cold, it is so easy for you to buy a little space heater and keep warm. That's what my mom ended up doing at her work. It's easy. You just get yourself a little space here, you're good. It's always easier to put things on to warm up than to take things off. Yes. Because like Rob said, there's only so much you can do. That's right. When you're hot. Everybody listening right now, if you work in an office, you know that the chicks in there get cold. Why do they get cold, Sky? What is the physiological deal that makes women get cold? Is it because you're cold-blooded, all you ladies? Yeah. Evil creatures. I don't think that. Frigid. I mean, there is an irony in the fact that snakes hold blood. Stop it. Why are you the way that you are? You know what I'm saying? Just stop. Why is that? Why do you guys all get cold? I don't know. Maybe we don't have as much fat, body mass. That's not true, though, because Rob is.
There are big women that are on the same thing. Rob is manorexic. It's true. He's less than me. Well, yeah, he's skinnier than Ash. And he's the one who gets cold. P1 Cara is on the line. And basically, she used to fight with her coworkers about this all the time and finally had to go out and buy the Space Eater. Is that right, Cara? That's correct. And it works pretty good? It works great. I work next to a door and a hallway, so I get the draft from the hallway. Burr. Oh. That's the worst. The draft in San Diego. It's freezing. It's shut off. It is. So what did you get, Kara? What did you go get? Icicles. Yes, icicles hanging from my nose. Yeah, I'm sure. Hey, Kara, did all the dudes in the place, did they complain? My neighbor, she would always complain because I'm constantly saying how cold I am. Yeah. Oh, it was a chick that used to complain to you. Yes. I get hot now. Oh, my goodness. Look at the sweaty pits on Ashley. Oh, God. Because she has to wear a hoodie to work because, you know.
Well, in the Adderall, she said now. I have a blanket, too. Well, I wore a hoodie in today because I'm kind of fighting a cold. But now I just, as we're talking about the heat, I'm like, gosh, I'm actually kind of hot. And so I just took off my hoodie. Kara, you carry a blanket to work, too? Yes, I have it. He's like, find my desk, a blanket desk. Green Bay, San Diego, so similar. Yes. I work in a concrete building. Oh, no. Concrete. That's like a refrigerator. Don't leave her alone. You guys would give me a hard time. Hey, what about at home, Kara? What about with your husband? What do you do at home? That's the worst, man. Unfortunately, I'm lucky enough not to be married to a man. Do you live alone? And I trained my son to get used to the heat in the house. The heater's on 72 right now. It's boiling. Thank you for the call. Yeah, I was so stoked. When Rebecca got pregnant, the doctor said, I said to the doctor, what temperature should the house be at? And the doctor said 68. Nice.
P1 Deuce. P1 Deuce, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah, actually there was a scientific study on MSNBC about two, three years ago that actually stated that women have a lower core temperature than men. It's only a little bit like one or two degrees, but they came up with it. They should do something about it. Like what? I don't know. Wear some kind of thermal mechanism. Yep. Get some kind of heated thermal and strap it on. A heat corset. Yeah, that's right. Some heat stockings already. A heat bra. Okay. You know what I mean? That's weird. Mikey Show, hello. I wanted to say that women eventually get punished for turning the heat up because they get a menopause. That's true. That's true. When women go through menopause, it switches and they become warm. They become hot. So what are you saying? That that's like karma? Yeah, because my mother-in-law... Genetic karma? She's got the AC on in the middle of winter. It's frigid over there. Wow. I think it is. We're going through... All you ladies in your 40s. Genetic karma. You horny old gals, let me tell you something. You know what happens. It's genetic karma. Well, it's the worst. They get it out. Eddie said a flu bug hit the Giants and they're just throwing up on planes.
They were flying into Phoenix, and Aaron Ross, defensive back for the Giants, threw up on the plane. Yeah, delayed him for like an hour because they had to clean it up. Dude. That is brutal. Brutal. If you're heading into Otay Mesa, getting into Mexico this morning, you're going to have a bit of a detour here. A bad major injury crash being investigated. As far as we know, no one lost their life, but they're investigating it for some reason. It's here on Otay Mesa Road. It's closed right now completely at La Media. What they're going to do is they're going to hand you south on La Media. Go all the way down to Siempre Viva. There is a shortcut that if you take this road all the time, you're going to want to take Airway Road. Yeah, I know. If you don't know it, you don't know it. But if you do, I'm saving you some time. Do not take Airway Road. They've closed that down as well. So go all the way south to Siempre Viva. This will take you back over east to the 905. And then you can get into Mexico at no time. We sit there. We're all happy now. The rest of our freeway is south on the 5. A busy ride out of Encinitas in the Solana Beach. South 15, you've got the usual slowdown coming out of Escondido up to 78.

Welcome back. It's 7.32. Police are asking for the public's help finding a 23-year-old Huntington Beach man who went missing downtown over the weekend. Jason Kidd asks for a trade from the New Jersey Nets. Just a little bit. We're going to be playing Boston Rob's Super Bowl song, Brady. Oh, great. Gay. Not gay. It's an ode. A la mode. A la mode. What the bro said. Hey, Teddy Kennedy. Really dissed Hillary. A lot of people were thinking maybe she was going to get the endorsement of this guy, and then he said this. Cut 36. He is tough-minded, but he also has an uncommon capacity to appeal to the better angels of our nature. I'm proud to stand with him here today and offer my help, offer my voice, offer my energy, my commitment.
To make Barack Obama the next president of the United States. Barack Obama. Hey, you're right. Hey, you're right. Got away with murder. That's right. Hey, you're right. I could swim. She couldn't. Yeah. You have a critic. Yeah, right. Voila. It's wicked awesome. I think, and I don't know about you guys, you may agree, you may disagree, that we should do this. I think that we should. I completely agree. I'd like to veto this entire game. A chance for redemption. Yeah. Actually, you don't need to veto. You may actually come out the triumphant winner today. I'd like to boycott this stupid game. I'm boycotting, too. It's like the writer's strike. The dumb chicks have gone on strike. Hang on a second. Thank you. Hang on a second. You guys need to get some.
Some confidence in your game. No, we don't get paid enough. Sky, why are you dropping out of the dump chick? You win it a lot. Stupid. Like, even if I win, still, you know, having to even think about these questions makes me feel dumb. Doesn't it make you feel smarter? You think it's easy to sound this dumb? You think it's easy to sound this dumb? Yeah, we work really hard. Let me tell you. We practice all weekend. More money. I'm telling you. Eddie, you know how you got a feeling to go to Saquon? You won $800 this weekend? It's Sky's Day. We want internet rights. We want web rights. I don't know why, but I think Ashley is going to lose. I don't know what I'm talking about. Well, let's go to the phones and let's let people pick who they think will win. Will it be Sky, Ashley, or Rob in the Dumb Chick Challenge? P1, Letitia. Queen Letitia is on the line.
Well, this is Queen Letitia. My bad. Hi, Queen Letitia. How are you? I'm doing all right. How are you? I'm good. Now, who would you like to represent you? I'll pick Rob. Okay. Be Rizzy. It's a good bet. He's a smart guy. Hang on the line. Kids on a roll. Patriots. P1 Brandon. Yeah. Who would you like? I'll go with Sky today. You got it. Hang on the line. And up next is P1 Derek. You get Ash. Sorry, Derek. It's okay. All right. He's resigned to it. Well, I mean, it's kind of a bummer. Can I call in a family member to play for me? That is incorrect, Ashley. Wouldn't it be like the same thing? No, you can't. Your family members are smart. Your brother went to Harvard. Yeah. Yeah, I know, but not because we're related. Yeah, well, you know, I mean, I see where you're going, but it's way more. Yeah, I like that. You missed a gene. That's right. Now, let's see. No offense. No offense. I'm your assistant. No offense. You hired me to be your assistant. No, I did not. Wait a minute. I don't know about that. I did not. Rob, I think we start with you this time. All right. Let's kick this off with a two. You got it. Oh, really? No confidence. No confidence at all. The way that the game works is you must get to five points. Each player's goal is to get to five points.
And they can pick whether they want a one, two, or three-point question. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. First person of five points wins. Rob wants a two. Rob, what state is the Mojave Desert located in? Wait a second here. A shock. Because my first thought was Mojave got to be Egypt because lots of deserts there. But you said state, so I'm figuring U.S. And right now I'm trying to read the faces of everyone. How are they responding? Waiting for someone to eye on me. Oh, that's not right. Hold on. Eight second delay. My friends have now heard this question. I should get a text here. Just hearing about Barack Obama. Well, it's got to be Arizona or New Mexico. I guess Arizona. Hurry up, Gabe. I don't know.
Arizona? Give him time to Google. Or maybe Texas? Wait. Arizona. It's Arizona. That is incorrect. Oh. No idea. It's actually here in California. Oh. We got dinner too. Sky's even rubbing it in by saying it with you. Remember when we drove? we were going up to Mammoth and you're like, oh, Skye, is this a desert? And there were the tumbleweeds. Come on, Rob. Yeah, but I could see the mountains in the background. We went on a trip. Wait, where? Where did we go? That's the Mojave? It's very fruitful for being a desert. Forget it. I guess my IM was wrong. Damn you, Gabe. Now, Skye usually has a system. She's going to switch it up this time, Mike. She's feeling crazy. She is? But she does well, Eddie. She does well. I know, but she's like, screw this thing, man. I'm going to make this crazy and fun and entertaining. I'm going for something weird. You do not believe that she will do her usual 2.2.1 point. No, I can fully see it in her face right now. Too much confidence in that face? Because I see her smiling at you, but I don't see any kind of thing you're talking about there. Bring it on! Well, now she's laughing, Eddie. She's kind of laughing now. Sky? I like a 2.1 point. What's up? What's up?
Eddie is now cursing silently at that. One time. Switch it up. Just saying. All right, Sky, your two-point question is? Yes, Mike. What musical pioneer has a popular Gibson guitar named after him? Mel. No. That was a joke. That was a joke. You're a jerk. Mel. You and your yo play. Skye is rocking back and forth. Rob's angry. Raising of the eyebrows. Thinking of it through. A bit of a smile. Mel Gibson. Thank you. I'll be here all week. Oh, I don't know. Skye, come on. I will say Teddy Gibson. Wow. Switched it up. Sky, it's Les Paul. You know, the Les Paul guitar, that's a guy, Les Paul. Oh, I thought his last name was supposed to be Gibson. Oh, man. No, no, no. All the big famous rock stars, they play those Les Pauls, and they're Gibson Les Pauls. Wait a minute. I've heard of those.
Now, hang on a second. Ashley is already giving me the hand signal for two. Really? She's holding up the peace sign, which means two. And I'm just wondering, like, why would she have made the decision already without even consulting her base coach? I would disagree with this strategy. Eddie's saying, no, I wouldn't do that. I stick away from twos because she's terrible at them. So ones and threes, she can kind of figure out. Well, I disagree with you. All right. Ashley's going out on her own. More power to you. You doubted me, Eddie. I don't need you this round. You haven't won in seven months. All right, Ashley. I don't need you to win. Your two-point question is, what river flows through the city of Cairo, Egypt? I know this. The Nigel. No, not the Nigel. The Nile. That is correct. That is correct, Ashley. The Nigel. I believe it's the Nigel. It's the Nigel. It's either the Nigel, the Simon, or the Ian. I can't remember right now. My flatmate told me. Oh, yeah. I was on a flirt chat the other day. My flatmate told me. That's right. After one round, Ashley is in the lead. Two points to none. How about that? Did I not tell you? You're the best.
You called your shot. I called you. You pointed to left field and you kind of hit it to left. That's right. Kind of hit it to left. Come on. Okay. It was more center field, but you still hit it out there. Can everybody calm down? Out of the park. Out of the park. Well, out of the baseline. Out of the Nigel. Can everyone relax? Nigel. Nigel. The great Nigel River. So mighty. That's right. Are you done? I got it freaking right. I believe it was Moses that parted in Nigel. I got it freaking right. How come you're still making fun? A lot of sharks in the Nigel. Yeah, the blue sea. A little whale resides in the Nigel. It's a lose-lose for you again. You bit my piranha up and down the Nigel. I believe that dumps into the cowl. Boston Rock. Let's go. Come on, Rob. Three? Holy cow. He's that big brain. Rob, how many points are scored for a bullseye in a standard game of darts? Oh, it's easy, Rob. Are we talking about? This one I do not know. I've played darts a million times, but it does not leave. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Standard game. It's 25 unless you hit the cork, then it's 50.
Cork is the dead center. Well, the question is, you have to choose one. The question is, I mean, a lot of people would like to be able to give two different answers to a question. Oh, yeah, I would love that. You know, but I do have to narrow you down to one here. How many points are scored for a bullseye in a standard game of darts? It's 25. That's your game, Rob. I know, but I'm saying, well, if you hit the dead center of the board. Yeah. then if you're playing 501, 301, it's considered double, which would be 50. Eddie, I don't know how to... I'm giving you the answer 25, though. 25 is incorrect. That's incorrect. In a standard game of darts, if you hit the bullseye directly in the middle in the center, you get 50 points. Yeah, Rob, you said it. How do you not know that? You said it. Wow, you're the worst. You worked it out in your head. You're a great dart player. You worked it out in your head. Well, Rob, I read it a million times. I read it one million times. That was a badly worded question. The bullseye is the direct center. How many points are scored for a bullseye in a standard game of darts? Come on, Rob. I mean, it's a bullseye. It's right there in the middle. You should have gone with your guts. The bullseye has a 25 and a 50 point. Wow, you're the worst. Well, it does.
When you hit the bullseye. Why didn't you even say direct center in that? Because there's two bullseyes. I'm just saying it's badly worded. That's why I gave you two. I don't know. I'm just badly worded. Eddie, I'm sitting here thinking to myself, you know, the bullseye. I think most people would consider that not the outside of the bullseye. It's a bullseye either way. If you had that question, wouldn't you go, well, I wouldn't pick the outer rim of the bullseye. I would go with the inner. That's a bullseye, though. If you hit that center, it's a bullseye. Question, Eddie. Badly worded question. I'm specifically asking Eddie. Okay, I'm listening. So, Eddie, here's my question to you. If you're thinking to yourself, there is two different deals on a bullseye. I think I'll go with the least likely to be thought of here. When you hit the cork, it's double. I think I'll go, you know, because when I think bullseye, I think outer ring. I think we all do. I think we all do. You know what? You are all right then. I think we all do. You are all right. He's been defeated. Whatever. You're welcome. He's been defeated. It's a badly worded question. Ashley. Horribly worded. Rob, to your defense. Horrendous. Please do your defense. It shouldn't even be a question. To your defense, the woman that wanted to sail down the Nigel River agrees with you. Oh, no. She worked it out. Stop bringing that up. I think that's true.
Totally. Horrific question. Not at all. I don't know many more adjectives. I would have said 50. Really? Yeah. But you had taken a chance. I would have, and I don't know the answer. How do you not know the answer? You said that every single question that's asked and does the challenge, everybody knows the answer. He admitted it. That's why I admitted it, that even I didn't know this. But you said that the three of you go over the questions and make sure that you write them. No, we don't. No, we don't. We never said that. We never do. He never said that. I said the opposite. I heard it. I heard it this morning. You absolutely said it. I heard it this morning. B.S., Ashley. What? They send the questions to me, and I put them together. I said the opposite. I said we don't all see them. We don't go over it. But the agreement was that you said that every single question, you all three know. You are correct. And that has to be the rule of me, Sky, and Rob do it against you guys. You are correct. That's why. That's why I admitted from the very beginning. I said, hey, I don't even know this one. I don't know this one. There may be random specific ones that we don't know. We win. You win what? That goes against your entire argument. Good luck with you three coming up with all things that you all three agree and know. You don't need to get mad. You are.
You're screaming at us. We're all friends here. Yes, yes. Let's all agree. I just have a high tone. I just have a high tone. Hey, everyone. Let's all agree. You like my tone. We're both right. Stop fighting. He's not a bitch on Eddie. I wasn't even yelling at you. I was yelling at Mike. I don't know why she's yelling at me. I admitted it. Kick her ass. I'm on chocolate. I'll punch you in the face. Oh, there you go. It goes against everything you've ever said. It's one thing. I'm admitting it. Your entire argument. His point was to admit it. You're wearing a new shirt today and I like it. I don't like you at all. You're sick and grumpy. You look good. Bottom line is you're leading. Wow, congratulations. I can understand why she's so bitter. She's winning. You're doing great. Thank you. Rob's an idiot. No, I'm not. That was a demonstrative question. You're a hothead. I'm not a hothead. Bad questioning. Jeez. Horrible questioning. Not at all. Not at all. Oh, my God. Anyway. He flies off the handle. I don't fly off the handle, Sean. Oh, my God.
Let's move on to the person I get along with the best, which is Skye. I even picked her today to win the game. All right, Skye. Are you going two-pointer here, Skye? Yes, please. Your two-point question is... What is the name of the female that wrote the book Frankenstein? Frankenstein. Look at her face. Well, she's giving a look like she's got the squint. Who could anybody know that? Oh, really? So you've asked me the one impossible question. Is that worth 50 points? Yes. Okay, great. A 50-pointer. Skye, I believe that when you hear this author's name, you will go, oh, yeah. For sure. I've heard that before. Oh, yes.
Skye. I've heard you say that on the show. Skye's got her index finger up to her mouth. She's thinking. Eleanor Frankenpoop. That is correct. Wow. How did you know? Well, it's just like one of those things that just came to me at the last second. I was like, Frankenpoop. That's right. Francis Ford Coppola directed Eleanor Frankenpoop's Frankenstein. Yeah. Or no, wait a minute. Oh, Leslie. Leslie Visser. Leslie Vielsen. Mary Shelley is the name of the author. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. She wrote the whole... She wants me to stop. Ashley. Let's move on to Ashley. Ashley, you could wrap the game up with a three-pointer. Eddie's giving her the sign for... I'd pick a one-pointer. No, he split me off, actually, Mike. Is that what that was? I thought he was telling you to take a one-pointer. Which is rude, because I just complimented his shirt, but whatever. Wow. Three-pointer. Anyway, I'm going to... Yeah. Yeah, let's do three. You want a three-pointer? Yes. This is right, please. Yeah, I feel good. I feel like I'm going to get it right. What are you, cold medicine? No. Ashley... Okay.
What car manufacturer produced the Model T? T, T-Bird, or... That is correct, Ashley. But it wasn't the T-Bird. You're correct. Ashley just won the Dumb Chick Challenge. Honestly? It's 5-0. No one else on the show scored a point. Back-to-back questions, correct? Ashley, you won five to nothing. Rob, nothing. Sky, nothing. Ashley, five. What the hell? Even though it was not a T-Bird, it was the Model T. But you got it, kid. It doesn't matter. You won. The Nigel and the T-Bird. It doesn't matter. Yeah, guys, no, this is really a pleasure because it's been almost nine months since I've won. So, you know, it's about time. Thank you. It's an honor. Fantastic. He won Derek.
It's an honor. It's really been a pleasure. I know in the beginning you thought you were being saddled with Ashley. You were actually... Awesome. It was the best decision you've ever made. Well, you didn't really make it. Eddie, you backing on me now? What up? Not really. Derek, congratulations. Never doubted her. Thank you. Eddie, what did Derek win? We got tickets to the Big Velvet Revolver Show. Holy... Wow, you are welcome. You guys make my morning so much better, I swear to God. This is The Mikey Show. I appreciate that, dude. That's very nice of you to say. 105.3. If your resolution is to lose weight in January, pass those fries and load up on the carbs. Welcome to Cal's. Can I take your order? This is Budweiser's Red Brick Brewhouse, built in the 1890s in St. Louis, Missouri. This is our unique blend of hops added by hand to the brew kettles inside. The aroma rises through the ornate hops vine chandelier in an atrium above. Two closed doors on the sixth floor. Behind these golden doors sits a long wooden table with beech wood inlays, surrounded by tools of the trade. This is the Budweiser tasting room. This is where at 3 p.m. every day, the glasses are filled and brewmasters train to taste beer, sample Budweiser from our 12 local breweries to make sure it's as good as it should be. High quality, all digital, best service, Cricut Wireless. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Now a few tough spots in our freeways here this morning. Northbound side of the 15, an earlier accident that was in the slow lane before Felicita. Just adding to the usual slow traffic, mainly in those right-hand lanes as you head up to Escondido, and then you make that westbound 78 transition. South 15, pretty much the usual stuff from Felicita down to Via Rancho Parkway. Some scattered slowing again through Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Mountain Ranch, and then into Poway. The coaster ride, south on 5, pretty typical here, though, as well. It's pretty tough, though. Locadia, on down to Solana Beach.
The westbound 56 here, as you come off the 15, you're looking okay until you get to a ride around Community del Sur. From there, it's a slow ride all the way to Carmel Valley. Westbound 52, you're fine pretty much out of Santee, but it does get quite heavy in through Kearney Mesa underneath the 805 and through San Clemente Canyon. The westbound 8 is also seeing a very heavy ride through La Mesa right now from La Mesa Boulevard out towards Lake Murray. Bunches up again at the 805. Coming up under the South Bay, 805 northbound. You're looking good all the way up into Kearney Mesa. That's when it starts jamming up in the 163 after it's Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. Also, West Omic, that's a northbound 5, is also slowing into downtown. And now you're seeing a bit of a slow ride out of Old Town on this 5 into Mission Bay. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. I was thinking about what's something I haven't told you about Frog's Fitness that kind of separates it from every other gym I've ever been to. Well, here's a couple of things. Number one, they have unlimited towel service. free towels that you can use. If you're a good gym member, you wipe down the equipment after you use it. I like to wipe it down before I use it because who knows who used it beforehand. That's kind of cool. They also have free toiletries. If you take a shower there, say you work out before you work or at lunch or whatever, they have free shampoo, free soap, free everything. You never have to worry about bringing that stuff to the gym ever.
That's why I like to go there. You just go to shower? Well, I prefer to shower in a public place. Yeah, amongst people. It's me and Boy Blunder. We go together. Yeah. And then if we can't make it, then we'll just pick one of our places. Now, why do you? Never mind. I don't know that I want to know that. But it's pretty cool. Are you sure? I'm pretty sure, yeah. All right. They even have their own laundry service there. So if you want your stuff cleaned while you're working out, they can do that. I mean, it's everything. They even have a place to get your hair cut there. I mean, this is a full-service place. I mean, it's not just you go there and work out. They have every single thing at your fingertips, plus the best equipment around, friendliest service. It's just a great place to work out. Frogs Fitness. They have five San Diego locations. Jesus sneezed. Hi. To find one near you, go to frogsfit.com or give them a call, 877-FROGS-FIT. Look at that. Boston Rob is on the HGTV site, and he's filling out the deal, too. Oh, no. Had to get my today's entry in. Do you do that every day, Rob? I forget a lot, but you got to if you don't know about it. She's trying to distract you, Rob. Bless you. She's trying to distract you. Can we not talk about this?
Talk about what? Oh, the dream home contest? Is that what it means? Have you seen it? Whoa. Casting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the official home of the Mikey Morning Show. Yes, I'm not the only liberal person in the world. Sean. I routinely obsess about the cleanliness of my windshield. Boston Rob. I have this when I'm merging from the 805 to the 8. You're afraid that it'll collide. Yes. Ashley. Hygiene is very, very, very important to me. The Mikey show's on. Something supernatural is going on. Rock 105.3. Hitting the button and...
Maybe it's a mouse pad. Maybe that's the deal. Maybe it's your finger. No, I just looked. It's an optical mouse, meaning it doesn't need a mouse pad. I don't know what to do. Would you guys have a problem with me broadcasting from my home? Would you have a problem with that? Yes. You know, if you guys don't. If I can, too. Yeah, if we all can. From your home. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Did you just say shotgun Tom's room? Sean's room. I'm doing it from the pool. Oh, wow. That would really be great. I would never leave my home. Me neither. It is 8-21. We're now accepting M2. Let's see. What do we want you to do? Make a video, you know, promoting the Mikey show. Put it on YouTube and then get it to us. And if we like it, a couple weeks, we're going to pick the five best ones. Let people vote. Winner gets a brand new HD camcorder. Wow. Yeah, I won't reveal too much, but I have got an email from a Hall of Famer asking me if I'd be willing to do a cameo in their M2 video. Wow. That's brains, man. Smart. I don't know what my script is going to be. Who is it? You could say. Who is it? I don't want to say. Why? That's not going to ruin anything. What? Space Boy. He's smart. He's smart. He's the greatest. He's good. Well, he's the... You know, he's the greatest P1 of all. He's the Everest of P1s. Yes, he is. He's smart. I talked to that guy 30 minutes on the phone yesterday. Whoa. About the show. No kidding. Well, the guy is smart. That space boy is a smart guy. Did you know he has a real name? No, he doesn't. No, I'm not kidding you guys. I don't want to know it. Boy. I know. I don't want to know it. It'll mess everything up in your brain. I don't want to know it. When you find out, you go, wait a second. That would make me mad. No, thank you.
And it's like a real name, like Steve. It's not Steve, but it's like that kind of thing. Don't even intimate. All right. Anyone, yeah, Space Boy's name is not Space Boy, it turns out. I thought it was. Yeah, no. Stop, because it's creeping me out. He claims it will not portray me in a bad light, so. But that's all I know. That's all I know. So we'll see. There's no other light. You know what? Steroids did not paint Barry Bonds in a bad light either. Why would you? It's impossible! Eddie, did you know that John McCain has virtually doubled in the polls in California? Really? Virtually doubled. I wonder what's up. Just out of nowhere, that guy's on fire, man. Well, he won South Carolina, and so I think people like to get behind a winner. Yeah, we're sheep. Yeah, we are. And so, you know, people are getting behind him. I hope it's not that Mitt Romney, because that's what they were saying. They were saying Mitt Romney was going to do it. Here in California. Yeah, they say right now, you know, that here in California, McCain has 39% of the vote in the polls, with Romney with 26% of the vote in the polls for the Republicans. Yeah, we'll see what happens. I think that Huckabee might hang it up after today. Really? What? Well, I mean, he's so far behind. Well, he won the first one. Have you been wearing your shirt? I have.
Okay. It didn't work. Well, let's figure out a can. I have one. I think the plan is McCain gets a nomination and asks Huckabee to be his running mate. I like it. Oh. I think that that'll be the deal. Really? That would be an interesting thing. I'm happy with that. Really? I like the two of those guys. They're the only two guys I like. That mitt, I don't trust that Ken doll hair. I think he wears plastic underwear. I'm not kidding. Plus, he's named after sports equipment. Yeah. Would you vote for a guy named Jock? Exactly. Strap. Mitt. That's what you catch a baseball with, dude. Bat. Glove Romney. I mean, is this how we're voting now? Is this what we're basing our votes on? Who's got the coolest name? If you're named after sports equipment or not. John McCain sounds cool. That just sounds cool. Awesome! Mitt sounds like he gets balls in the face. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. You're welcome. Okay. Sky, do you think Hillary's going to get the nomination for the Democrats? I don't know. There's been a huge, in my opinion, a big shift of momentum over to Obama. You know, it was all Hillary the past couple weeks, and now everybody is supporting Obama. Everyone's endorsing Obama. Even Sky don't like Hillary. You don't trust her. Well, I mean... It's not easy.
It's not easy. She's your own gender. My dad likes her, and he likes her for that reason. My dad says, I trust a woman more than a man. What? He says if Obama gets the nomination and McCain gets the nomination, he'd vote for McCain. He says if Hillary gets the nomination and McCain gets the nomination, he'll have to think about it. So he doesn't vote on party lines? He just... He said that in this particular instance, he would vote for McCain because he does not like Obama. And he also said, do not say any of this on the radio. Well, yeah, you shouldn't do that. Sorry about that one, Dad. Yeah, no, I like John Edwards. And, I mean, I'll vote for Hillary or Obama if they get the nomination. But there's, you know, I got problems with both of them. Why not McCain? No. I want us out of Iraq. I actually went on McCain's website yesterday to look at his environmental policy. That's what the Republicans hate about him is they say he's a lib. Well, they say it, but I went on his website. Democrats, I love that guy. Well, I went on his website yesterday to read about his environmental policy and it was all a bunch of smoke.
He was blowing smoke. He wasn't saying anything. Sky, him and Huck are the two Republicans that believe in global warming. All the rest of the Republicans are like, you traitors, you SOBs. Well, that's cool that they believe in it, but are they going to go against the big oil companies? I don't think so. And do they have a billion other things I disagree with? Yes, definitely. Definitely. Especially Huckabee. And especially if McCain picks Huckabee as a running mate, no way, man. Uh-uh. Get me out of here. All right. Fine. I'll try to change your mind. No, you won't. I will. Democrats, come on. It's the way to go. I'm going to campaign. We need some change here. Man, it's a weird change, dude. It's all a bunch of talk from Obama. Yeah, like he's going to cure global warming. Give me a break. They're all saying what you want to hear, Sky. They all are. They'll go against the big oil companies. Edwards will. He's not going to get the vote. Well, I know, but that's why I'm going to give him my vote. Because he's the one who will. He's not just blowing smoke. He's not taking money, you know, and talking talk. Shawnee O'Biggs, you're a Libby. Who do you think is going to get that Libby nomination? Who'll get the nomination? I think it'll be Barack Obama, I hate to say it. And I will never vote for that guy. Why?
I despise his immigration policy. Yeah, I'm a racist. He's like, I'll never vote for a black. Wait, you despise his what policy? You despise his what policy, Sean? His skin policy. I want to be serious. Stop it. Wow. I love it. I also won't vote for Chris Rock. You guys are the worst. Or Whoopi Goldberg. Or Shaquille O'Neal. Or Shaquille. I will not vote for the following people. Oh, man. What's the deal? Why do you not like him? I don't even vote for Shaq in the All-Star game. Come on, Sean. What are you doing? I don't like his immigration policy, and I don't like his stance on illegal immigrants. I don't like it. Sean's big on immigration. That's like Sean's only issue, this. Sean wants the Mexicans out of here. It's a central issue. Sorry we're here. Yeah, geez, Sean. We're trying to kick us out. We'll ship ourselves back. Well, cut any and half of Eddie can stay, but Mike, you gotta go. What's the good half? The Italian half. But Mike can focus you, Sean. Right. Come on, Sean. I'd rather live in a cardboard box. Sean, we need to have a talk.
Sky. I need to get in there. What are you talking about? Sky. Sky. Because Sean. He's got a terrible phone. Sean, from everything I've heard on the air about the way Sean wants to vote this election is all about immigration, which is so weird to me because in my opinion, there are so many bigger issues and immigration has been an issue for our country. Sky, what's the biggest issue to you? To me. It's a tie between the war in Iraq and environment. Yes. Now, Skye. I love you, Skye. I want to ask you. I want to ask you. We don't have to debate, but I do want to ask. McCain, that's the guy's strong suit. In fact, the big knock on McCain is foreign policy, Iraq. What they say he's bad at is the economy. They say Mitt Romney gets it with the economy. And John McCain gets it when it comes to, like right now, We're actually making some headway in Afghanistan because we did what McCain suggested we do. The search. The search. Which I thought was so interesting because my buddy that has a pretty high rank that's in the Marines came back from Iraq. And I go, dude, what's the deal over there? Like, how would we start winning? And he goes, we need more men. Is real, like, just flat out because we need more. And I go, why? And he goes, he just starts smiling. And he goes, you got a piece of paper?
And I got him a piece of paper, and he's drawn on a map what happens, like, guy-wise. Like, why dudes get wiped out over there? There's not enough dudes. So when they have the dudes, they win. So I was talking to my dad about this the other day, and I said to myself, a very emotional thing, wanting guys to come back from Iraq. You know, like, who wouldn't? Duh, yeah. It's kind of like going, you know, I took this test recently that asks you, A series of questions and then you hit this button and it tells you what president you should vote for. Ask you all these questions. Except that the way that the questions are phrased are things like, and you have to answer for, against, or undecided. And it'll say like abortion rights. And I go, abortion rights? Like what a way to put it. Why not just abortion?
It didn't actually say this, but it was almost as if it was asking you, hate the environment. Are you for or against? I get you. You understand what I'm saying? Well, who wouldn't be for men, American soldiers living, coming home? Like, who wouldn't be for, of course, in your heart, it's what you would want. You would want for the guys to come home. And why would you want that? Well. You don't want them over there in harm's way, right? You don't want them in harm's way. You don't want them to die. Of course. You don't want them to lose their lives. Now, I think about it, and I say to myself, now, let's say that Barack Obama was the president right now today, and he could wave a magic wand, and just like that, all the guys are back, right? Right. We know what would happen next, right?
And I'm not going to get all crazy like, oh, terrorism would take over and blah, blah, blah. No, no, no, no. Thousands, hundreds of thousands probably of Iraqis would be slaughtered. Like murdered in a very gross, ugly way. Really badly. Now, I'm just a radio talk show host, not a political talk show host or anything like that. I'm just a dopey talk show host and I know that. So if I know that, They know that. And so I said to my dad the other day, what the hell is more cruel? I can't think of a thought more freaking ugly than that. Knowing that when we leave, just boom, if we left like that, thousands of people would be freaking slaughtered, like murdered. But that's happening right now. I mean, people are dying every day in bombs and attacks.
American lives and American lives lost. It has been, I mean, by far the least amount of casualties ever fought in a war ever by the United States. That is true. But to me, one is too many. But Iraqis are dying every day. So to say, oh, all of a sudden they're all going to get slaughtered. That's not true. They're dying. They've been dying. Let me tell you the difference between us being there. And us not being there is tremendous. But this is what McCain said that I think is interesting. McCain goes, when people ask me about leaving Iraq, and I'm like quoting him. This was a Time magazine article where the dude is sitting having dinner with him and a couple of drinks. And he quotes him. McCain goes, it's one of the stupidest questions I've ever heard. It's like asking, when are we going to leave Japan? We never have. We went there during the Second World War. We're still there. We have bases there. He said, I'll keep guys in Iraq, a base, bases in Iraq, for 100 years if that's what it takes to maintain stability. Did President Bush mess up and get us there? Okay. Okay, I guess. Even though the guy that has been... Did anybody see 60 Minutes on Sunday? Holy Toledo, man.
The dude that interrogated Saddam Hussein. Did you see it? Is that the dude that interrogated Saddam, the one American dude from the FBI that interrogated Saddam Hussein for seven months. He got so into Saddam Hussein's kitchen that right before Saddam was hung, he developed a friendship with this FBI agent and cried before he went with the new was the last time he was going to see him. Right. So Saddam was real close to him. He asked him about WMDs. Because after a while, Saddam was just talking to him, telling him stuff. He said, did you have weapons of mass destruction? He says, yeah. He says, well, where were they? What happened to him? We got rid of him. He said, well, why didn't you just tell the United States that you got rid of them and that you didn't have them anymore? And he said, because if we did, that was the only thing that we had that was scaring the hell out of the Iranians. The thought that we had weapons of mass destruction was the only thing keeping the Iranians from kicking our butts. And I'm like, well, holy cow, man. That's like pretty gigantic. Like that's a pretty big deal. But the thought of, to me, leaving Iraq. First of all, my brother Mark, who you know is Libby McLiberal. Yeah. He says the Democrats aren't going to bring anybody home. They can't. They can't bring anybody home. Why? Because.
They realize the same thing we realize. They do know that we can't come home. That if we all come home, everybody comes home, the stability there would be jacked up. A bunch of people would be murdered. They know it. And I said to Mark, I go, wait a minute, dude, you're a liberal. Why are they saying it then? He goes, why do you think they're saying it? That's crazy. Mike was here. The Mikey show continues. Mike is a f***ing 105.3. What would happen if one of the world's greatest wrestlers stepped into the octagon? You know, let's just go to McDonald's. I'm thinking Big Mac sandwiches. Why do you think I'm getting cash, dude? I've always got enough for Mickey Deeds in my pocket. Yeah, right, Big Macs for both of us. Just let me get through this line. Listen to me, two Big Macs are just $3. What? Yeah, two Big Macs, $3. No, how is that even possible? It's McDonald's. They're the home of everyday value. I'll cover you, and by the time we get back... This guy will be long gone.
Now's the time to revisit a delicious classic, because the Big Mac is just two for $3, each with two old books. The book iPod that I have called the Kindle lets you download a couple of chapters at a time before you buy the book. So I read two chapters of a bunch of books. That's kind of a cool way to decide whether or not you want it. It is, and I want it. So I go, hey, honey. Oh. She goes, we just said two minutes ago. We just said. All right. If you can live with yourself saying no to it. Welcome back. It's 845. The LAPD was called out to Brittany's house last night after Brittany and her friend Sam got into a verbal fight right outside her security gate. The flu bug has hit the Giants. The flight into Phoenix was delayed after Aaron Ross throws up on the plane. Oh, that's gross. Okay.
We're going to get back to new releases here in just a second. So stick around for that. We haven't even played the Brady song. No. Okay, so this is what we're going to do. New releases is coming up in a second. The Tom Brady song is coming up in a second. However, Sky just talked about last night, Britney has got paparazzi cops in her house. Because this guy that I asked Sky this morning, who is Sam Lufte? And Skye's like, I don't know, her manager, her friend, her hanger-on, her something. Advicer. Like, nobody really knows. He's just this dude that, like, hangs out with her. Right. And they got into a fight. And so they pulled up to the house, and she jumps out of the car, and Skye says she's, like, sitting on a flower box outside of her car holding her dog, crying.
Oh, you should see these pictures because, of course, all the paparazzi is there. She's in these, like, Daisy Dukes. So when she's everywhere, like TMZ, Perez, Hilton, wherever. But, yeah, and she is, like, bawling, holding. I mean, it's so sad. She looks like a total crazy person. Yeah. She's not well right now. I bet you I know what they were fighting about. They were probably fighting, talking about. This Barbara Walters stuff. Oh, yeah? Because this dude, Sam Lufty, he's reaching out to Barbara Walters. Oh, no. Yeah. Like, dude. Cut one. There is a man named Sam Lufty, who is the manager and very good friend of Britney Spears. He has been staying with her constantly. And he got in touch with us. I can't vouch for this. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and he certainly was very nice. And he said that Brittany is suffering from what he describes as mental issues which are treatable. He said that she has been to a psychiatrist and that she...
I assume, is starting some kind of treatment. She has been having mood swings. She's been having trouble sleeping. And also, she is in touch with her mother, because we had heard she wasn't. And her mother has been very supportive of whatever it is that Brittany is going to do. So that is, I said, can I discuss this on the air? And he said, yes, you can. And so I have. Now, do you believe him? Is he telling the truth? I can't. I don't know if anybody's telling the truth or not telling the truth. I don't have a truth. You know, I'm not that program that has a lie detector. But he has been her manager. He has been her friend. He has been with her constantly. He seems to be enormously supportive. And I don't know. You know, I don't know why he would. It's just hard. I think what anyone hears is, oh, he's Brittany's friend. It's like you kind of want to qualify that. And he's her manager. He's her manager. He hates him. Hey, I have a question, guys, on The View. How come you guys don't discuss how it could be a possibility that that's kind of messed up that he called Barbara? Yeah, why is he calling Barbara? Are you guys maybe not discussing that? Because that would lead to the obvious question of Barbara. Why would you put that out there? Totally. That's exactly what I was thinking. But nobody's saying it. Well, of course they're not. You think they'd still have a job if they're, you know? True. That's true, man. But it's so strange. Right.
What do you think this guy's up to? I bet you that's why they were fighting. I don't know why they were fighting, but... Yeah. Oh, and then there's rumors about, did he get paid for this? I think that that's what the deal is. Maybe they're talking about something different. Let's find out. Cut to... I read, I think it was the New York Post this weekend, that Oprah and I... Ourselves. Right. Each offering $2 million to the McCanns, the parents of Madeline McCann, the little girl who disappeared, rivaling in order to get this interview. We ourselves are giving $2 million. That chance. It's such a hogwash. And it also said that ABC is doing a movie with them, and that is also... Who would believe that, Barbara, really? It's so far-fetched. If you use the word hogwash, you might be an old lady. Hogwash. Awesome.
That's an older term. All right, Skye, what else is coming out new release-wise today? Okay, so we did the video game, so let's move on to CDs. Out today we have the 2008 Grammy nominee CD. Oh. Yeah, so that has all the big hits on it. Like what? Timberlake, What Goes Around Comes Around. That's a good one. Yeah. That's the one with Scarlett Johansson in the video. What else? Timber Lake, actually. Timber. Timber Lee. Timber Lee. Timber Lee. Timber Lee. Amy Winehouse, Rehab, is on that album. Try to make me go to rehab. I said no. This stupid mouse. Oh, no. Throw it. Don't throw it. Why? Because that won't help. Eddie. Damn it! Toss that thing. That won't help, Eddie. Probably just shatter it into a little piece. Pull!
I don't know what to do with it. Go ahead, Sky. So also on the album, Beyonce, Irreplaceable. That's a good one. To the left, to the left. Oh, to the left. To the left, to the left. No, don't. To the left. Everything you own in a box to the left. Why not to the right? Because I think the door is to the left. Is it your left or my left? I haven't seen a map of her place. That would be the right. You're in my house. But are you facing the door or are you facing the house? If your left would be. Which way are you facing? That's why I'm trying to say it would be. Are you walking toward the house or are you inside the house? If you're in the house, to the right. I'm facing the dresser. But after you get it, you would go to the left to get out. But where's my box of stuff? And is all my things in there? There. Everything you own. But I don't know that that is everything. I have a question for Beyonce. My father gave me a pocket protector when I was 11 years old that he carried with him in NAMM. Is that in the box? Because you said everything I own. And something tells me you don't have that. So that makes you a liar, Beyonce. That makes you a flat out liar. What about those Monopoly dice?
that I got when I was 14. Are those in the box? Why do you have those still? I don't know. Just the dice. I just held on to them, I guess. It's one of those things. You can get any dice anywhere. Yeah, I guess they were my lucky dice. That's weird. But they're not in the box. Let me look. Let me see if they're in the box. Maybe they are. We've got a call. We've got a ballpoint pint. What else you got? A pint of old Harper. There it is. Put it on the board. Duh. What else? What else is on that CD? What else is in the box? It's in the box. Also on the CD, Foo Fighters, The Pretender. All right. Of course. Welcome back. Oh. The president gave his final state of the union last night. He focused on the economy. This is not good news for Charger fans. It looks like the Chargers and Saints will be the game that's played in London next year. Oh, no. High definition, Kim. Camcorder, then you should get involved with M2. Truman Capote? Yeah. Why are you talking about M2? Because I wish I had a high-definition camcorder. Oh, wow. Well, you can participate, too. I'm working on a video. Oh. Yes. Can you share some of it with us? It's for a 20-year-old guy.
Playing water polo. Oh, no, that's not. I don't know how that promotes the show. Yeah, how does that? It doesn't yet. Wow. And I'm going to say listen to the mic. No, I don't know that it qualifies. It's not what we're looking for. It's weird. I win. Oh, okay. The truth is, is that after making the video, either way, I guess I win. Sounds gay. Well, let's see here. Sky, we've gone through all of the new releases, right? Yes, we sure did, Mike. So, I guess that only leaves one thing left to do. Uh-oh. Yes. And that is to play Boston Rob's new parody song. With the Super Bowl coming up, Rob went into the lab. Yeah. As you know, Rob is from Boston. He's a big Patriots fan. Really? He did a song about Tom Brady, even though we don't care here in... San Diego about Tom Brady. He's scared. Went into the lab. Why? This one's going out to Tom Terrific. Thank you. Tom Terrific. Hey there. Your cleft chin's wicked awesome. Pass me all your balls. Okay, wait. Your looks.
Compete with Ted Dansons. Wait, what? Just hit me in the slot. Is that gay? Yes, Gary. Fine, keep going, keep going. Brady, you have great protection. No. Hitting the end zone. I ache. So many completions. Love to catch your throw. Oh, good luck. Touchdown. Harmless little man crush. All I'm saying is I'd have this guy's kid. Come on, the guy's dreamy. This guy goes to the Super Bowl about as often as I go to jail. He's the greatest quarterback in the history of quarterbacks. He should be Time's Man of the Year. He should get a Nobel Peace Prize. This guy's got three rings. He's going on four. It's Tom Brady. Thank you, Tom Terrific. Oh, jeez. Yeah. What a song.
You picture his face all red when he... Well, he kind of sounds like a hothead. Yeah, he does definitely sound like that. Not at all. Jinx. Mikey Show, hello. Collective. Collective. Well said. Hello. Yes, hello, hello. You're on the air. Hello, hello, yes. Trustingly hysterical, B-Rob. Wow. Oh, cool. It's a supporter. I know it doesn't sound like it, but that was a supporter, Rob. Right out. Yeah. Listen to those pipes. Emphasize the yeah. Yeah. The pipe. It's a fine art. Hello. Why do you put wicked awesome in every song? Thank you. Why not? Good point. Exactly. It's like his signature phrase. Mikey Show. Certain artists do certain things. You guys need to stop playing that song. No kidding. Brady is horrible. No kidding. Brady is horrible. Wow. He is the worst. Mikey Show.
Hi, this is Tom Brady, and I want to throw my balls at B-Rob. Oh, no. That got weird. I wonder if that was really Tom Brady. I think it was. It sounded like a hurt ankle. It sounded like it. Mikey Show. Hello? Hello, hello, yes? Mikey. Mikey Show. Yeah, Mikey, it's P1 Easy Money. I just want to say that song rocks. Tom Brady beats Brad Favre any time. Oh, Eddie. Oh, no. Eddie. Uh-oh. You really upset Eddie, dude. Someone's offended. How dare you? Not as handsome. Not as handsome. Hey, listen. Two each their own. If you're into, like, the more metrosexual look, that's fine. I like my quarterbacks rugged and handsome. That's right. Talk about it. He likes Wranglers and Flannel. That's right. Absolutely. Mikey Show. B-Rob. Yeah. Yo. Man, I'm on a planet. Mikey Show. Yeah, I just threw up. Thank you. What are you, I'm a giant? You're listening to The Mikey Show. Indeed, you are powerful. Want me to sing? No, I mean, play something and then come back in 20 seconds. Okay. There you go. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. Give me another Sierra. KIOC San Diego's. Eddie, you want to come over later and watch Namesake with me and Sky?
Why are you mocking me? I'm not. I just said I'm going to watch it. You're lying. Why do you say that? Okay. Then I'll ask you tomorrow if you watched it. And if you didn't, then you're a liar. Wait a second. It will not be my fault if Blockbuster is out. Have you returned your copy? There are more than one copy. No, there is not. Doubtful. Doubtful. Doubtful. It's a very good movie. Let me tell you what's very good, lady. You're dumb. Amco. Try and be cool. I'm going to watch it tomorrow. You said today. You said Eddie was coming over to watch it today. I just remembered that I'm reading up on Valerie Bertinelli and Jenny Craig today. You're reading up on it. I have to research. You're so dumb. Let me tell you something. I'm going to watch it. I promise. Stop yelling. I will see it by... Liar. Friday. Liar. What if I do? You're a waste of your time. She thinks I'll like it, though. Don't take any recommendations. I've never heard of it, Eddie. That kind of scares me. If I recommended Smiley Face to him, which I also watched this weekend, that would be stupid. That would be stupid. I go, Skye, where did you hear about this namesake? She goes, it's called Blockbuster.
And the reason why she got it is because one of the dudes from Harold and Kumar were in it. That is why. I was joking when I said that. I read a review and it was beautiful. I read a review and it was beautiful. In what? Review magazine? In Entertainment Weekly, dumb school. Pakistani Weekly. Okay, I'm going to watch. You got four dots up. That doesn't even make sense, you jerk. You can't put a dot up. Whatever. I'm going to go four dots. Fine. That was four and a half. That makes more sense. You laugh, Sky. You're awful. You're awful. Jeez. Jerk. What happened to us? I'll tell you something. Amco's been in business since 1964. They get it. They sure do. They are the world's biggest transmission place. Period. Yeah. They're technicians. They can rebuild whole transmissions. They know what they're doing. Not messing around over there.
Here's what they do. Trannies, oil change. Transmissions. Hey. Transmissions. Look at Robin. Back in the day. He's laughing. Oh, man. Transmissions, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, cooling systems, the whole deal, the whole nine. Oh, that's good. Now, let me tell you, they are not going to fix something that isn't broken, unlike if you take it to the dealership. They want to fix broke. You know, they want to replace everything. These guys just want to fix it for you. So go see Amco. Amco is double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. MyCricket.com slash San Diego. Now, in case you missed it. This is a Mikey moment. So remember how we were saying that the government was going to, they want to stimulate the economy. They're going to give people money. Sources on Capitol Hill say that everybody met and agreed on $600 for a single person. President Bush. Let's ask President Bush. President Bush is here right now. President Bush, let's ask you. Go ahead. Let me clear up some rumors. Go ahead. We're saying printing checks, sending them to the house. That is not correct. How does it work then? What we're going to do.
Is have one giant Easter egg hunt. Wait a minute. So you're saying. And then that's like 600 tall coffees. Wait a minute. For everybody. You're saying. Mikey. Mikey. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. It's out. We're at the club and this song comes on. Everybody looks at me because they know like this is the song that I dance the best. This is your jam. It's my jam. Yeah, I know. And everybody just kind of knows it. Right. They make a little circle around you. They make a circle and they do the whole thing. This is my song. This song is called Low and it's by Florida. I don't think it's Florida. It's Florida. Florida. Sorry about that. It's by Florida. Oh, Florida. And, you know, if it says on the bag, if it says all right, then it's Flo-Rida. That's right. That's what it is. It says all right, then it's Flo-Rida.
Well said. That's what I call Rebecca, my shorty. Did I say the time yet? Did I do that? It's 922 then. The Angelina Jolie pregnancy rumors are back in full swing after she wore a very loose-fitting dress to the Screen Actors Guild Awards this weekend. Rex Ryan is going to stay in Baltimore as their defensive coordinator. Eddie ever walk in the house, say, where's my shorty? Yeah, all the time. Do that? Where my shorty? Where my shorty at? Yeah, where my shorty at? I'm just visiting you and Rebecca with the kid, like, at the grocery store. And you're like, come on, shorty. That's what I do. That's what I do. Come on. Come on, shorty. What's up? Where my shorty at? See, this guy sings, like, in a talented way. Like, I don't think everybody can do that. Which is my problem that I have. With 50 Cent. Damn. Skye, what are your thoughts? What are your thoughts? I defer all my thoughts to Ashley. Wait a second. I'm asking you. Well, she's the expert on the show. I'd rather not get it. I don't want to muddy the waters with my opinion. I'm just asking that. Is that hip hop or rap? Please defer to the expert. Yeah, Mike, what do you think?
I don't know. Sky, is it hip-hop or is it rap? I will not, Mike. I will not. What? The hippity-hop. Dang, shorty. Okay. Dang. Stop. Do you guys know who Natasha Bedingfield is? Is she a singer? She's a singer. Oh. And she's got a big hit out called Unwritten, and she says she wrote it for her brother. Cut 33. But you wrote Unwritten, right? I did. Unwritten. That song is so great. Isn't that song great? Never heard of it in my life. Never heard of it ever. Never. Yes, my younger brother, Josh. It was his 14th birthday, and I didn't have any gift for him, so I'm like, okay, I'll just write him a song. Just write him a song, and in the meantime, make me a whole bunch of money. Actually, put that up. It's royalties on that song, but he's not having them. How long ago did you write it before it became a hit? Maybe two or three years before. Really? This is, listen, here it is, unwritten. Oh, I know that song. And the dress is still unwritten. That was her birthday present for that poor kid?
That'd be so pissed. I was 14. I'd be like, thanks. Sis. What about a game console? Would you demand the royalties? Oh, yeah. After I begin a hit. This is my song. Help. Call of Duty, please. Please. Anything. Jerk. You guys don't get it. I'll take Hannah tickets I'll sell or something. Thanks for the song. Stop it. Thanks for the song, lady. Stop it. It's a thought that counts, you guys. I've heard that it's a thought that counts. Here's Jessica Alba, cut 11. I was reading something in an interview you did not long ago. You're someone, so much attention is paid to your looks.
um and your body and all that and obviously you go through changes now when you're pregnant is it okay with you or do you look and go what's happening or how do you feel about it i mean you go what's happening go with the flow you definitely have to go with the flow you have to surrender but it's a shock to the system and again i've never been the one to emphasize anything on my looks or anything it was just you know the poles The magazine, they do it. It was never my thing. You know what they'll do now? So I really don't care. Now they'll start to leave you the world's sexiest pregnant woman. So it'll be fine. They'll just shift the emphasis over. You do care, too. Thank you. Of course you care. Of course you care. You're not going to be on a poll of the sexiest people. You don't care. You care. Who cares? I can't do it anymore. Oh, no. That was the final straw. That's it. That was the last. That's the straw that broke the camel's back. This is going to be over real quick. I just, I can't take it from them anymore. I can't take it. She's not allowed to do that, Eddie. Hey, man, it's her opinion. Stop. You're doing that to me. America, you know, to each their own. That's a good point, Eddie. You're doing that to me.
I just, you know what? I've never even paid attention to those things. Maybe she hasn't. Well, I'm just saying. She's trying to tell the truth, Mike. If you're irritated by the truth, then. She's a lion face. No. Speaking of lions, Skye saw those new little lion cubs at the wild animal park. I had to. Well, we talked about him Friday here on the show, and that was the first I had heard about him when I read him in the news Friday morning. Your husband is a good man. He is a good man. He didn't go. And the lion cubs are only out in the morning, so we had to get up early on Saturday morning to get down to the wild animal park. You and your mom? Who are you saying we? You and Ashley. Me and the boob. To make sure that we didn't miss. He has the worst life. Maybe he liked it. Maybe he liked it. He's got the worst life. He had a wonderful time. That poor guy. He loved it. He loved it. We're members of the Zoological Society. So, you know, that means we get into the park whenever we want. That's right. You got to pay money for that?
Well, it's an annual fee to be a member. You get a sticker, right? You get a sticker and a card, and you can go to the zoo and the wild animal park whenever you want to, as many times as you want to. Wow, what a treat. It was so awesome. Once you go once, why would you go back? What's left? Great, zebras again. Look, they're walking. To the left this time. Hey, you still got spots. Look at you. Oh, you're yawning. Look at that. Crazy. He looks sleepy. Sometimes they do different stuff. Hey, look, honey. He's touching it again. He's touching it. Look at that. What's he touching? That thing. You know, the thing that he sometimes cleans. Oh, gross. What the hell are you talking about? It's pen. Okay. It's pen. It's pen. Well, the Lion Cubs are beautiful, but you've got to get there in the morning because they rotate them out. Police are asking for the public's help finding a 23-year-old Huntington Beach man who went missing downtown over the weekend. Tom Brady actually practiced yesterday with a heavily taped ankle and had a bit of a limp. A limp? Is this a wrist thing? No, no. What do you mean? Well, he was limping. I got you. I got you.
I just thought because of the Stetson commercial, the printouts that he does as a cowboy, I thought when you said limp, I immediately thought his wrist is at it again. Did you guys see the Monte Carlo in Vegas on fire? Dude, how crazy was that? Whole top floor. It was weird just seeing the sign on fire. How did that thing not burn to the ground? I don't know. They must be pretty good with those systems that they have set up to put that stuff out. Yeah. That's crazy. They had to stop fixing it, though, right, Skye? Yeah, they were supposed to, you know, they've been working on the inside ever since it happened, ever since they got the fire out on Friday. But as far as doing all the exterior stuff, they were going to start doing that. But the winds are just too strong right now, so it's not safe for them to do it. So, you know, as of yet, they still don't have a timeline to try and have this thing finished. And every day with the winds kicking up, it's just going to make that longer and longer.
Did you guys know that Michael Jackson may be in a Super Bowl commercial? For real? Mm-hmm. Doing what, Sky? Well, I don't know exactly how they're going to put it all together, but they say that he's teaming up with Pepsi for a commercial to honor the 25th anniversary of his album Thriller, and you can expect to see that commercial on Super Bowl Sunday. I'm really excited about it. Oh, you are? Yeah. What's it going to be? Well, it's going to be kind of a crazy idea. On live television, during a commercial, I'm going to eat my own face. It looks like you already have. Yeah. You've been practicing? Yes. I've been trying to get a lot of practice in before the Super Bowl, and so I've been eating my own face. That's really gross. There's barely anything left. I mean, you really enjoy the nose. It's so delicious. I can tell. It tastes like cheddar cheese. It does. Have you ever had Cheez-Its? Yeah. It's just like that, only it's your nose. I don't think that's gross, Michael. It's super neat. Oh, well, I can't wait to see it. Yeah. Sometimes if I run out of my nose. Yeah.
Sometimes I'll eat my own toes or any other part of my body that's made of cheese. Oh, so those taste like cheddar as well? Yes, my toes taste like cheddar. My nose tastes like cheddar. My nose tastes like cheddar. My toes taste like cheddar. My nose tastes like cheddar. Sounds like you got a new hit there. What's it called? I'm going to write that down, man. My nose tastes like cheddar. It's called My Nose Tastes Like Cheddar. It's catchy. Wow. My hands taste like white cheddar taffy. Wait, what? Well, you know how taffy is stretching? You can pull it and everything? Yeah. Well, I figured since I can do that with my fingers. You can't do that with your fingers. I can't too. No. I'm doing it right now under the table. Oh, well, you got us. Yeah, we must be wrong then. You just can't see it. I just don't want to know who's under there with you. Under the table? Yeah. I don't even know what you mean. That's weird. Creep. I don't know what that even means. Huh, that's odd.
Back to you, Skye. Okay, well, thank you, Michael Jackson. So we're real excited to see that commercial. And then we also heard, Michael, that you may be doing a surprise appearance at the Grammys with Akon, Will.i.am, and Fergie. Yeah, Akon, Will.i.am, and Fergie moved into my house last weekend. No, they did not. Yes, they live in a pair of 501s in my closet. You're ridiculous. Michael, they're real-sized people, so they couldn't live in your pants. No, no, they do. And we're all working on a recreation of the movie The Wiz, which I starred in as the Scarecrow. Yeah. You get into the 501 pocket, and we work it out, dog. Oh, you do? Really? Yeah. It's really cool, and we're thinking about videotaping it. So I told Acorn, why don't you get into the M-Tube competition and win an HD camera? That way when we videotaped it, it would be really good. And then we sat around, we watched Boys on the Side, and we all ate my hands. They ate your taffy cheddar hands. Yeah, they love taffy.
White cheddar flavor taffy. Yep. Acorn, Elizabeth Taylor, and who else did you say? Beyonce. Fergie. Fergie and Will. Acorn. Fergie and Will. Will I am. Michael Jackson. I'm Michael Jackson. Yeah. You're too much sometimes. And Webster I am. He was it, too. He was? Yeah, Webster I am is my best friend. He stayed 12. He did it. Yeah, he did it. No, he did. He's just little. Nope. Forget it. Yeah, he still is. Okay, that's interesting. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey, good morning. Good morning. Hello? I was calling for P1 trivia. Oh, you were calling for... Whoa! For goodness sake, then let's play, dude. Let's play. Let's play. Let's do it. Okay. Very simple. It's very simple.
The way that the game is played is we get a guy on the phone and a girl on the phone, and we play P1 Trivia, and it works just like the Dumb Chick Challenge in that you've got to get the five points. First person to five points wins. Ones are easy, twos are hard, threes are even harder. So one, two, or three-point questions, first person to five wins. Is this P1 Panda Sleuth? Yes, it is. All right, Panda Sleuth. How old are you? 22. 22 years old. How long have you been listening to the Mikey Show? A little over two 28-hour shows, so a little over two years. That works. And I've got to hand it to you. I like that you called it the 28-hour show. A lot of times people will cheat us. He won. She should know that. A lot of times people cheat us out of those four hours, and they say the 24-hour show. No. It's one of my pet peeves. Those four hours are brutal for you guys, so you guys should have them. That is true. I almost want to let you come in no matter what. Right. She's awesome. Hang on the line. P1 Nick, are you there? I definitely am. All right, Nick, how old are you? 21. How long have you been listening? A little over three years. Nice. Good. This is going to be a good peon trivia. Battle it. Sky, who started first last time? The guys. All right. Well, then it's a quote, the honorable chairman a la cuisine. Wait, no. Isn't that how we start? It's a different one. And I take a bite of a bell pepper and then, you know. Okay, Nick.
Guys starting or girls? The guys started last time. Okay, so Nick, here we go. All right, Panda Sleuth, your question. What do you want, a one, two, or three-point question? I think I'll take a two. You got it. You got it. I like it. Who on the show has their own advice segment where they, quote, shoot straight from the hip, unquote? That would be Eddie. That is correct. What's it called? It is Tough Love with Eddie. You got it. I like you. Well said. What are you doing? It's my theme. Oh, that's what he's doing? It's been remastered. But, I mean, he has a button he can push right there and play it. I don't know why he has to sing it. He's doing the unplugged version. I was doing it unplugged. Oh, nice. All right, P1, Nick, what do you want? A one, two, or a three-pointer? I'm going to follow suit and go with a two. You got it. Copy, get. Who is? Who is known as Double Over the Top OJ? That would be... Okay, so we've got OJ, Over the Top OJ, and then Double Over the Top. That's Sean. You got it. Oh, you worked it out, Todd. You almost said it too fast. Yep. Problem solver. Yeah, the reason we call him Double Over the Top OJ is because, you know, I'm just your ordinary moderate OJ. Who just kills people. Yeah, you know, like if I made a joke, I'd say, yeah, I'd...
kill you. That's a joke. And then Double would say something. And I'd do a little jump and dance after I kill you. Yeah, right. And then Double, what would you do? Well, see, I would take the skulls and treat the blood. Okay, thank you. See what we mean? Double over the top. I don't see a problem with it. P1 Panda Sleuth. Alrighty. What would you like? A one, two, or three pointer? I'm going to try to see if I can close it up with a three. I like it. You guys are tied right now, but here is your three-point question. What was the title of the first Mikey Show Best Of CD here in San Diego? What was the title of the first Mikey Show Best Of CD? Yes, back in 2004. Was it 2004 or was it 2005, guys? I think it was 2005. 2005. We've only had three.
We've had the first one, we had the second one, and we just put one out. Is that right? Yeah, that is right. I don't know. It's a tough question. I don't know that one. The answer is, the name of the CD was Pretty Sure. Pretty Sure. Pretty Sure. Yeah, Pretty Sure was. The best of the Mikey show. I knew it had something to do with Ashley. I just didn't know this. Yeah, it was Pretty Sure. And then last year, what was last year? The one with the doctor and the name. What do you think of the name Shiloh? Shiloh. What do you think of the name Shiloh? Shiloh. What do you think of the name Shiloh? What did you think of the name Shiloh? Oh, there she is. That little angel. Oh, thank you for asking. Yes, it has improved. Nick? I'm still here. What do you want? A one, two, or three-pointer? Against my better judgment, I'm going to try a three. Holy moly. You are a three-point person. Your three-point question is, who recently told us that they were hit on by a high school student? I'm going to go with Skye. Skye would bring up. Say that again? I said only because I know that's the kind of thing Skye would bring up. I think you should bring up on him. You should accidentally get disconnected from him.
You both get to come in. Oh. I'm going to let you both come in because you both did a good job. Panda Sleuth, you did a good job. Thank you. And you did a very good job. Tune next, so hang on the line, okay? Yes, sir. The two of you guys. Sky Trolls High Schools. Shut up. That is true. She likes him young. Real fresh. Opposite of true. Oh, look, what do we have here? Oh, no. What's your name, young man? Let me ask you a question. Fuck 105.3. Diagnose it. They're not going to fix anything that isn't broken. And don't forget the fact that Amco does transmissions, brakes. Oil changes. Now, you may be saying to yourself, why Amco? Why would I go to Amco and not take it to the dealership? Well, first of all, the experience. The experience in the database. They hook up with all these other Amcos with guys that know exactly what problems are going on. And when they experience something that they don't know about, which isn't often, they can go on there and figure it out. Amco is the only place you want to go. It's Amco. Double A.
MCO. Hello there, I'm Dr. Henry Jekyll. I'm a research scientist. And I'm Mr. Edward Hyde, accountant. Together, we run a small laboratory and needed to increase productivity. So we called and added wireless from AT&T. Yeah, he's upskirting me. It's KIOZ San Diego. Eddie's microphone fell off its stand during commercials. Why? That is a good question, Sean. That is a far out question. You're a good question asker. Well, and? Oh, dude. I have been trying to figure that question out. Not just for five minutes here. But really for about four years. About four years. That's not good, Mike. Trying to figure that out.
If I won the lottery, I would ask Bob Bollinger, the market manager here at Clear Channel San Diego, if he would let me donate money. You know, like a philanthropist or something. To Clear Channel? To the non-profit known as Clear Channel. Yeah, to the non-profit known as Clear Channel. I want to make a donation. You don't have to hold your mic like that. How am I also going to use it? Yeah, I don't know. But I thought they had record profits this year and the previous four years, Mike. Is that true? Is that true, Sean? Sean, don't rile him up. Don't say that, Sean. Is that really true? He's kidding. God, it can't be true. No.
That would make me cry. That's why they have to let everybody go around the holidays. Because I'd be so angry, but I'm in touch with my feelings. Angers, hurt, sadness, fear. That would make me hurt. Fearful of what I'll do. That's wrong. I believe that it's categorically wrong that Eddie is holding his microphone right now. Laying on the desk, and he's holding it. Well, they can't afford to fix it, dude. No. They had record profits instead. This is a multi-million dollar. How are the CEOs supposed to live off of $20, $50 million a year, Mike? How are they supposed to survive? You think that little? You think $20 million is a little too? The CEO of Clear Channel? What are we talking? What do you think Mark Mays pulls down a year? With his shares and interests and everything?
I would probably say he's in like, I don't know, Sean, what do you think, like 50 million? Oh, yeah. Oh, my goodness. Whoa. Eddie's holding his microphone right now. It's kind of heavy, too. I don't know how long I'm going to be able to do this. Because the whole stand is attached to it. Ashley, can you call? I already did. He's on his way. It's like, this isn't going to be an easy fix because I think where it screws in, it's like shredded. stripped so they're like the screw won't even stay in there anymore so i'm just gonna have to chill like this for a little bit it would be so neat to have a brand new studio well you know like jeff and jerry oh that's awesome they're so fancy they got a brand new one man neat stuff pink lights yeah like five tvs five tvs They can afford stuff for that, but not for people that are already here. Stop it. Oh, ow. You're fearful right now. I am fearful. I can't hold it anymore. It hurts. Eddie has to put the microphone. Eddie's laying the microphone down. Just lay your face on the table next to it. Hey, guys. This is not right, Eddie. What do you mean? This is how I like to broadcast. This isn't right.
You shouldn't do that. The good thing, though, is that it's not negatively impacting the show. Well, I'm sure everybody's on it right now. You guys, this will be like a quick fix. That's true. That is true. It doesn't bother me. It's cool. No, you're bad. I'm sure it's not a distraction. It's not a distraction at all. Continue with the show. I'll just chill. Continue to try to make money for the company. Oh, don't do that. Well, they need to make their record profits again. Oh, Eddie, be careful. I mean, come on, man. I don't think that is going to work, Eddie. That's at a sketchy angle right now. Can Boy Blunder do anything about this? Under his regime? Under his reign of terror? And do you know the deal with my door? That's been like two weeks now. Do you know that Ashley's door, you have to shove it closed? And it won't shut all the way. So like most breaks, like this break, because it takes forever for me to shut it and open it if I did every break because it's so heavy. It's just open. So people walk by in the hall. We'd be able to hear it on the air. Two weeks. I've sent four help desk requests. Two weeks. Do you think that happens at Sophie? Studio door.
It's broken. Well, they have to prioritize. What goes out on the air isn't always the most important thing. I thought that that was. I thought that that was. I thought that was the business. The most important thing. There are some sales assistants that need some software installed. I mean, you think. You're making Mike crazy. Look at Mike's face right now. It really hurts me, guys. It does. It makes me really upset. Well, good thing Eddie's MacGyvered his microphone with like a pen and a rubber band. And a champagne cork. An avocado pit. And some bubble gum. There it is. Well, the terrible thing is... Yeah? The terrible thing is that the big boss here in charge is a nice person. His hands are tied. He can't do anything. What's he going to do? If I told him he would just try to make me feel better, he'd go, Oh, Mikey, I know that. I know that it's... I know. You know what? Our hands are tied.
That's an excellent impression. Right now we just need it. There's nothing in the budget right now. There's never anything in the budget. Why don't they make the budget more so that there's stuff in the budget? Well, because that would take away from the record profits. That's right, I forgot. They had to cut the budgets by 50% again this year. What? I was just up in San Antonio talking about this. About budgets? It's true. So messed up. Third year in a row. Right? Whoa. So ass backwards. Let me tell you something. I hate Michael Moore, but I wish that he would do a movie on the... Oh, I should contact him. On the Clear Channel Fat Cats. Call it Pricko. Oh, man. They're too busy cutting budgets to fix that. And firing people. Don't forget that. Well, that's how you make record profits, guys. They're busy doing that. Slash the budget. They're like, you have to cut the throats of four employees. Okay, okay. We'll do it, we'll do it. Yeah, profits, profits. An extra $10? Okay. We can get $2 a head on those slashes.
Oh, my gosh. P1, paparazzi. Oh, no, Eddie. It's not bad enough. It's not bad enough. Paparazzi. You can turn my mic off. It doesn't work anyway. Paparazzi, what's going on? I have to say, I know exactly why Clear Channel has record profits for the last four years. What? They haven't repaired a single thing in that building in the last four years with anything other than duct tape and zip ties. Hey, get Bromo. Get Bromo. Grab Bromo. No, just Bromo. Just Bromo. can hear me because my door is ajar. Hi, Romo. We're on the radio. Come sit down. Thank you for the call. This is Romo from DSC. I'm complaining right now about the equipment here. Do you guys have bad equipment or is it good in there? Yeah, we suffer the same thing. Are you afraid to say it? I could see he was almost afraid to say it. Look at his microphone right now. Look at his mic.
That's happened to... Yes. You guys have equipment problem at KGB? Yeah. Like mics fall off and studio doors not shut all the way? Can he hear me without headphones? Oh, I'm sorry. Go ahead. Go ahead. Well, he can hear you, but not... He can't hear everybody, actually. Sorry. I could... Dude. Yeah, we do. It's awful. That looks very familiar. How about the EAS machine? That's what I want to ask you. Oh, there you go. You know that machine that gives like emergency update system or whatever that goes... Does that happen during the morning show or no? I think we got it fixed so it doesn't make that little clickety noise. Does yours do that? Because we were told that all the shows deal with this and we just have to suck it up because all the shows deal with this. We were told that it's something we all have to live with and that it even happens to Dave with you guys. And I go, wait a minute. I go, you're telling me that that happens with Jeff and Jer while they're on the air? And Shauna said, yeah, it does. And I'm like, I don't think that happens. You guys made it so that it doesn't happen on the air? What I believe now is it does not make that sound. I could be wrong because it did make that. Does Dave complain about the equipment? Gosh darn it, man. I do too. Our big issue is phones. Yes. I can barely hear some of the callers. If I'm on a phone doing a bit with them, I can't hear the other callers. It's awful. Dude, we get that all the time where people are calling and they'll go, I can't hear that. I can't hear the thing. I can't hear whatever.
And you know what their big thing is with me is the engineers tell me, well, we don't have anything we can do about that because that's got an issue dealing with cellular phones. If the caller's on their cellular phone, and I'm like, what? Well, then we should get everybody in their car a landline. Right? Oh, that's crazy. Listen, I like the engineers. I think the engineers are nice people. I just want stuff to work. That's all. The mouse doesn't work and I hit buttons and nothing happens. Can you hear that? Can you hear talking in the background? It's because Ashley's door won't close. I thought that was just because maybe it was too warm in there. Do you guys have issues with the air conditioning? Oh, yeah. What? Like what? Too hot and cold. Well, certain parts of the building become very cold. Yeah, yeah. And that's nothing to do with the engineers on that one. Those are ghosts. All right, one last thing to complain about and then I'm done. One last thing to complain about and I'm done. What's up? What do you got, Mike? You do not have to deal with this, Sky. But the men's bathroom down here has been broken now for... Eddie. It's still broken? I can't say.
I know what you're going to say. The urinal's off the thing. Off the wall. It's off the hizzy. It's off the wall. There's no urinal thing on there. Right. It's just a bucket. Yeah. And the company, that's a company thing. Like the company hasn't gotten a plumber or whatever it is. But when you go in there, it's horrendous. Horrendous. Like I don't know where it's coming from or what's making it smell. It smells. You can smell it as you go in, and then when you're about halfway in, you can barely take it. Right. Oh, because the drain is, like, open. Is that why it's like that? I would guess. If I was bringing a client into this place and a client said, can I use your restroom, I would say... Oh, it would be humiliating. Right? Utterly horrendous. It would be humiliating. Eddie, you know what we're talking about. Yeah. How long has that bathroom been jacked up? Forever. But when you go in there, you have to plug your nose. But Mikey, what options do you have? You can't bring them down here where Jeff and Jerry are using the same bathroom. Yeah. Or you take them by the front desk where there's a bathroom over by Roger Hedgecock's office. That's where I would take them. Right. That's where I guess. Or you could just fix the bathroom. Oh, that's weird. That's weird. It's a thought. I don't know what.
department that falls under or whatever? Record profits. Record profits this year. It's not in the budget, Mike. Record profits. Can I tell you one beef that I have? Oh, I'd love to hear it. Right around lunch, I had an issue with one of the computers, you know, the IT department. So first of all, you have to send them out a help request because you can't go down there anymore on foot. But I figured, what the heck? It's slow around here. I walked down there and all three of them are out to lunch. Let me tell you, Bromo. All these things that we're talking about, engineering, I don't believe it's their issue. It's not the individual's problem. It's the big company. It's the way they run things as a whole. It's the way the company runs it company-wide. You can walk into Phoenix Clear Channel and they're probably going to tell you the same thing because it's the way the company. I bet you if you talk to the engineers and you talk to the IT department here at Clear Channel, they'd be like, We would love to do it our way. We got to do it like this. Like this and like this and like that. And like this and like this and like that. It's like this. That's right. But it's laid back with my mind on my money and my money on my mind. P1 Danger says we should do a strike. Oh, no. Should we have a strike, P1 Danger? Yeah, that's true. Usually.
Do a sit-down strike. Don't do anything for like 48 hours. Stay there. You know, honestly, I don't believe in protesting and strikes and everything, but I do think that would make good publicity, and it would make the company real mad at me, but been there, done that. Bromo says DSE's in, too. Oh, thanks, Bromo. Bromo just put them in. Yeah, that's in writing. It's on Bromo. That's right. Thank you, Bromo. Thank you, people in danger. He speaks for them. Yes, he does. He's our spokesperson. They would never do it. Nobody else in the building would do it because they would think it sounds very sticky and very radio-ish. Because their thought occurred to me. But I was like, you know, it's the same thing. Like if another one of the radio shows came to me and said, hey, Mikey, will you be a part of this walkout, blah, blah, blah, I would say, I don't want to be a part of your bit. Yeah. But if we could somehow make it to where it wasn't. One person's bit. We all did it. Fix stuff, for crying out loud. I'll be Norma Rae. Why does the popcorn machine work every day? Isn't that funny? That seems to be the most popular question. Great point. That is a four-hour question. Rob flips. That is true. So funny.
That is true. See, when that thing's busted, it's like a 24-hour alarm goes off, and they're all swarming around, and they've got CSI working on it. That popcorn is good. It's true. It's like the movie popcorn. Oh, my God, a popcorn! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Somebody get Dr. Canola on the line. Wait. That's so true. When we were in Santa Jose, that was the craziest thing that's ever happened. It's the craziest thing that's ever happened at a radio station in my life. In the history of radio. Yeah, in the world. For about three months, in the men's bathroom, there was a raging underground river.
You guys think I'm joking? It used to be underground. Well, first of all, that building where we were at sat there for 157 years. It was there forever. And all of a sudden, a once dormant spring underneath the building, spring like water, burst. It wasn't like pipes. No. It was a natural occurring spring. And so they dug up the men's bathroom. And I'm talking about a crater. Because it flooded. Well, it flooded the whole entire building. So after they ripped out all the carpets and all the baseboards and everything, which we worked in that environment forever. Well, here's what it looked like. When you walked into the bathroom, you could put a VW Bug.
In the hole that was in the men's bathroom. Well, dude, they drove a bobcat in there. That's how they dug it. The bobcat. It's unbelievable. And then at one point they were like, you know what? We may have to move you to another facility due to mold issues. And then they're like, no, we'll just bring in a couple little space heaters. Can you believe that? But when you would look down into this giant crater, about six feet down into the crater, there's a gushing torrent moving through it. We had no bathroom for four months, five months. Yeah, we had to use porta-potties out in the parking lot. We had a trailer when they were redoing this whole building and cutting it in half, basically. Oh, I remember that. Remember that trailer back there? Oh, that was sexy, yeah. Anybody that's ever driven out in front of the Clear Channel building probably looks at it and goes, man, is that thing beautiful. Gorgeous. Is that a fancy-looking broadcast facility? Come inside, come inside. I mean, it's pretty, right? It's glass and it's just beautiful. It looks good. It does. When you walk in, it looks like a professional broadcast outfit. But you go to the toilet and holy cow. It's a toilet. It's a toilet in there. Ay, ay, ay. Oh, wow. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I'm getting out. Bye. See you guys. Tell them we can team up. Go get naked or something. We can team up. That was every day.
We're a team. Jump in the dryer. We're all a team. All right. It depresses me. We're doomed. Oh, God. No, we have record profits, John. All right. We're good. Maybe we can just broadcast out of, like, Mark Mays' house. Oh, gosh, that'd be luxury. Do you think radio will get to a point where everybody does shows from their house? It's possible. It's possible. I sure would like that. You would? Oh, I sure would. But then you'd miss all this interaction. Sean, how much would it cost? I think he heard me. I'd say to outfit, like if we did a thing where we built a studio in your place and we all went to your place to broadcast, we could do it for... Probably about 10 grand. You guys, wouldn't you like that? And we could have breakfast and stuff. Oh, Rebecca makes that. Yeah, and then the listeners would like it more. It would sound more fun even now than it does. Let's do it. I want to. Dude, I'll make it so nice. I'll destroy your bathroom. My wife says yesterday, she goes, honey. Oh, no. What? She goes, honey.
Have you noticed that our downstairs bathroom, it kind of smells like sewer? And I go, yeah, honey, get some spray for in there. And she goes, no. She goes, no, it just always does. And I go, well, and she goes, and nobody's using it. I go, well, I use it sometimes. And she goes, that's not it, though. I go, I'm telling you. That's bad. Get some spray. We have a weird smell in our place. You do? We can't figure out where it's coming from. Really? I'm like, oh, man, I don't want to have a dead mouse somewhere. Is it that kind of deal? It smells. And it's in this particular spot, and I've moved everything, and I can't find anything. Because dead is... I mean, I know this is really gross, but dead is different than the sewer smell. Yeah, it doesn't smell like poop. No. It smells almost like garbage-y, but I don't know where it's coming from. How do you find stuff when you don't know? What are you supposed to do? Just start busting holes in walls. Yeah, just get a sledgehammer. Just start busting holes in stuff. It's garbage. You'll eventually find it. It's not garbage. It's garbage. I don't think it is. Oh, my gosh. You guys know that movie Crash is going to be a TV series on Starz. You know how HBO has Deadwood and different shows, Sex and the City, Sopranos, and then Dexter's on Showtime, while Starz is doing their first.
TV show. Yeah. And it's going to be the movie Crash made into a series. I'll pass. I do too. I didn't like Crash. I was one of the only people didn't like it. I didn't either. Did you see it, Sky? Yeah. You loved it, right? It's about social issues. Yes, yes, yes. I passed. Well, I wouldn't say I loved it, but yeah, I thought it was good. I believe the plight between the Anglo-Americans and the African-Americans in the film was probably... Well, there were a lot of good issues that ran through that film. I had a river runs through it. That's a good movie. Uh, But anyway, so they're doing that. David Beckham is sporting a trend of bazillion bikini wax. You know, he does that to his stuff, and it's turning into a thing, you know. Wait, what? He's bikini waxing. You know, that's Beckham, David Beckham. He shaves it like Beckham. Well, it's becoming a trend with men. It's called the boyzillion. Eddie just stopped it. Eddie dropped his mic again. You know how women will get a Brazilian wax? For men, it's the boyzillion.
Okay. I got about a boyzillion reasons not to do that. Sounds gay. So I guess Beckham started doing it for his... Richard Simmons just screamed out, that's gay. For his Armani ads. He was doing these underwear ads, so he got all cleaned up for them. And he says, of course, it's a little painful, but he says... Oh, my God! He says it's not nearly as sore as when he gets his chest waxed. Hey, Richard Simmons, what do you think of the new Boyzillion wax that David Beckham just got? Oh, my God. He likes it. Oh, my God. He loves it. Calm down. Take it easy. He's really happy. Sean saw Cloverfield over the weekend but had to leave after five minutes. Sean, what? What's going on, Sean? Oh, man. So, you know, the movie starts. There's at one point in the very beginning, the guy's got his handheld camera and he whips it around like across the whole room to catch something going on. And when he whipped that camera around, both my wife and I almost fell out of our seats. Oh, man. Maybe we were sitting too close. I don't know. But from that point on, we just kept getting sicker and sicker. And, oh, dude, I couldn't do it. I ran it. You know, we were going to see there will be blood. Yeah.
And we went to the San Marcos. Yeah, me and Jake. It was his first film. I wanted him to see something good. I abandoned my boy! I left my boy! I abandoned my child! So we're in that Rubio's right there by the theater. Yeah. And a dude goes, hey, man, are you Mikey? And I go, yeah. He goes, you going to the movie? I go, yeah. He goes, what are you seeing? I said, there will be blood. He looked at me like I was an antelope. Right. What was an antelope doing in here? Why would you never do that? And I said, what are you going to see? And he said, Cloverfield. I said, oh, it's great. And his wife, he said that his wife was standing there with him. He goes, yeah, I made her take Dramamine. Smart. He said, I heard you talking about it on the radio. I'm like your main dude. Sean, why didn't you guys try that? What, Dramamine? Yeah. You mean like go out from the theater, take it, and go back in? No, you couldn't do that. You would have had to take it. If you're going to go see Cloverfield and you get motion sickness, and I don't know that Dramamine will even work because Dramamine might be a deal where the only thing it works on is being out on a boat or in an airplane or whatever, but if you want to try it.
You probably should take it like an hour before the movie. Do you get motion sickness, Sean? No, not really. Oh, really? Never had that situation, no. Well, this one's shaky, man, to the point where they're putting up signs at AMCs saying if you get motion sickness, this movie's going to make you sick. Did you see how much it dropped this weekend? No. Yeah, it fell from like first to fourth. What was the big movies? Well, I know Rambo was out. Come on. Is anybody going to see it? Rambo? Meet the Spartans was number one at the box office. I saw the preview for that, and I don't trust it. I don't trust that it's going to make me laugh. It looks like it's going to make me laugh, but then I know that I'll go, and it'll be really not funny. In the three jokes you saw in the promo. Yeah, you see the jokes that are funny in the commercial on TV, and you know it's not going to be good. Rambo was number two. Wow, Meet the Spartans was 18.5 million. Rambo, 18.2. Then 27 Dresses, number three, 13.4. And then Cloverfield, all the way down to fourth at 12.7. Dropped 72% from its opening weekend. Wow. It may not even cross the 100 million mark. That's crazy.
Has There Will Be Blood made like $20 million even? It's made $14.7 million. But it's in not very many theaters. That's why, Mike. My name is Daniel. This is my son, H.W. Okay. Yeah, Juno just actually hit the $100 million mark. That movie looks great. Which is pretty impressive for its slow start and release and everything. That looks really good. P1J-Dub saw Rambo this weekend. Yeah, J-Dub. Let's see. J-Dub. Are you there, J-Dub? Hey, it's Jason. How are you? Hey, that Rambo movie, I went and saw it over the weekend. Didn't have anything else to do. Yeah. And that was the most gruesome, violent movie I've seen in a really long time. It made Private Ryan look like a joke. Really? Wow. Isn't it stupid? Yeah, the storyline's ridiculous. But if you wanted to see some good blowing up stuff and people getting shot up, it is awesome.
Hey, Sean, how come you didn't go see Rambo? I agree. That is a good point, Sean. We didn't think of that. I wonder if that took people out for a second. If people were in their cars like, I didn't hear him say anything. It's not working. What's going on? That clear channel is messed up. Record profits. Oh, no. Oh, no. That won't make it work. Mike, stop it. It's stuck. I'm not kidding. Hello. We'll just talk to this guy all day. Hey, what's going on? I always wanted to tell Eddie about hunting for that dead snow in his house. Yeah. You don't want to cut into the wall. Just use an ice pick. Now, Eddie, don't really take a sledgehammer. Oh, okay. Yeah, an ice pick. Use an ice pick. Ice pick your walls up, bro. Yeah, right near the electrical outlet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just take an ice pick, dude, and just go up to your walls and just start punching ice picks in the wall. No, Eddie, do not do that. Thank you, guys. No, you're welcome. No. We got your back. Thank you, P1 Salami. What was his name? P1 Res? Yes. What's up?
I'm calling because how come there was no mention of the Mars Volta album and there was one of the new Hannah Montana lip-singing Bottle Devil album? That's a good question, Sky. What's up, Sky? What's up, Sky? Mars Volta is the greatest rock band of the new millennium. Sky is looking through her data. And, yep, there it is. She just found it. Oh, Mars Volta. Yeah, there it is. Mars Volta. Thank you. Oversight. Oversight. Sorry about that one. The Oversight Committee. That's right. P1J saw Meet the Spartans. What's up, guys? And Meet the Spartans, you're absolutely right. It was the biggest piece of trash ever in the world. I knew it. The previews try and trick you. You know what the whole San Jaya thing? I'm not gay. Right. It's funny looking, but it's literally an hour and a half of crap. Yeah. Thank you very much. Darn it. That's why I've suggested seeing my film. Oh. I heard you abandoned your boy. I abandoned my boy. Why?
I want Eddie to see No Country for Old Men really bad. I want to. So that I can say, and I kept messing with Rebecca, I'm not putting it anyway. I kept saying that to her all day long. It's a guy in the movie. He's a bad guy. And I don't know what he is. Act it out. Okay, let me act it out for you. Wait, no, you don't have to. Here we go. Well, I'll understand better if he acts it out. I will, I will, I will. Here's how it goes. I'm getting into character. Okay, okay, take your time. This guy. How long have you lived here? I don't know. I mean, about 14 years, I guess. I had family out in Templeton. This place? Well, like I said, we had family out in Templeton before... I asked you a question. Do it or not? I mean, if you want to put it that way. Just answer the question. Yes. What time does this place close? I guess towards dark. Dark's not a time. What time does this place close? I don't know. About 7 o'clock?
Maybe I'll have to come back. I guess about 9.30. Maybe I'll have to come back. Why would you come back? We'll be closed at 9.30. Is that your house out in the back? Yes. He's eating sunflower seeds. Oh, okay. That's all I remember. Wow. Wow. You remembered that way. Make sense. Make sense. I'm blown away. He's the scariest dude I think I've ever seen in the movies. Why does he want to come back after he's gone to bed? Well, you have to see the movie to find out. Wow. Geez. It's really fun. Sounds great. I think we've hit on everything. I think it's time to go home. No reason for Capote. I'm in, actually. There's always a reason, Eddie. I just feel like doing it. Nice. 570-105. That was a good one. That's a good one, Eddie. What'd he do? What? Wow. Shocking, huh? Only a little taste. Goodness. She'll enjoy it.
What is that? It's a human being. Dude, hold it up to the window so she can look at that. It's a human being. Oh, my goodness. It's the cover of the Life section of the USA Today. Oh, wow. If that is an advertisement against drugs, I don't know what it is. Right? That's shocking. It's shocking. Shock and awe. It's a picture of Amy Winehouse from 04 and a picture of Amy Winehouse now. It's one of the most shocking photographs I've ever seen, side by side. A little different. P1JC's girl. Hello? Mikey. Yes. Hey, Mikey. This is P1LG. How you doing? Oh, I got the wrong line there. I'm sorry, Ali G. Go ahead. Hey, I just listened to you reenact that scene from the movie. Dude, it was right on. The movie was excellent. That's really good. I want Eddie to see it today. The killer was great. Oh, he was scary. He was real scary. He was a very scary killer. That's the type of killer that just blows the movie away. It was perfect.
Good job, Mikey. Thank you. I'm going to flip a coin and I want you to call it. Quit ruining it. Stop it. You stop it. Control yourself. I throw myself. Tails. Hey. Come on. Knock it off. Keep that quarter. Don't put it in your pocket. Why? Anywhere you want, but not in your pocket. That's actually exactly what he says. You're ruining it. Stop it, Mike. God, bless it. Oh, wait a minute. This isn't Hambone after all. Hambone, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. You're on the air. Mikey, I saw Rambo and I was extremely skeptical because Stallone's like, what, 90 years old now. But it was one of the best. It's great. It was. It was one of the best action movies I've seen. Totally. I want to see it.
It's great, Mikey. You will not regret it. Totally. I'm going to see it today with that Indian movie Sky wants me to see. The namesake is good. I'm going to see names. It's going to be a double feature, Rambo and namesake. Don't you lump my movie in with your junk. What is your percentage of chance I'll like it? Zero. Well, see, you're weird sometimes. You're weird. I'm weird. Well, you know what I like. I think you would like it because it's shot beautifully. It's a beautiful, heart-wrenching story. Okay. It's very realistic. All right. It's got to be realistic. It is. P1 Irish is on the line. Great movie. Uh-oh. Well, it's not working. Mikey Show, hello. What's up? Yeah, what's going on? Hey, I just wanted to tell him to see that Rambo movie also. You liked it? Yeah, it was good. Yeah, it is. Getting a couple people calling saying that Rambo movie was good. Can I give it a chance? Gives it four dots. What? Watch the movie, then make that joke. Fine, yeah. I didn't make the joke! Coming up next, the lovely and talented Missy has all request lunch on the nooner. It's going to be fantastic.
She'll take your requests and plan for you, and we'll see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mike Show's out late.
