606. And what does that mean? It means that we got stuff to talk about and we're hoping you do too. So 570-1053. And how about this? Enjoy the last day of the text messaging. That's what they say, man. I know it. I know. That's what the clear channel. That's what they said, man. They said that the end of the month is it. And so tomorrow we're not on the air. We're not on the air except for best of. And so... Today, technically, is our last day to enjoy the text messages. Oh, shoot. I know. So that means that when we come back, it's going to be textless. So 570-1053 is our phone number. And our text is 35253 for the last day. Oh, shoot. Dang it. So give us a call. 570-1053.
Quimby is our phone screener. Yeah. And, uh, I don't know, maybe she wasn't scheduled today. One of two things happened. Either she wasn't scheduled today or, uh, she just didn't show up to work. She definitely was scheduled. She told me. Yeah. She's having nice dreams right now. Yeah. Uh. But when she wakes up, she's gonna, we're gonna have to put Rob on that duty. Rob a duty. That's right. Rob has a duty. Um. Uh. 570-1053 is the phone number. Text number 35253. Welcome to the program. Lots of stuff going on in our world right now. For instance, Bogoyevich is done. Wow. He's done. Yeah. They took him out, right, Skye? Yeah. The Illinois Senate voted yesterday. Now, if you don't know about all of this, you know, the governor of Illinois allegedly was trying to sell Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder. Allegedly. Allegedly. And so they did an investigation and looked into it, and they said, yeah, he's shady. Let's get him out of here. But his hair is going to remain. Yes. Well, please. With a full head of hair like that, how could it not? How could it not?
So the Illinois Senate voted yesterday 59 to 0 to get him out of there for abuse of power. The article of impeachment having been sustained by the required constitutional majority, I now pronounce the judgment of conviction against Radar Blagojevich, thereby removing him from the office of governor effective immediately. How about that? I mean, how about that? Dude. And this guy, let me tell you. You know, he's got some rocks. Yeah. Yeah. And and there is something so telling in this clip, you know, when you have done nothing wrong, you there is no saying that you're sorry because you haven't done anything wrong. And that's what I think is so telling about this next clip. And you kind of hear him catch himself. You know what I mean? The fight goes on. Just because I'm not governor anymore doesn't mean I'm not going to keep fighting for you and for the causes that I fought for my whole life. For ordinary people like my parents who worked hard and struggled to build a better life for their children, who knew what the struggles were, who had fears and challenges, but also had hopes and aspirations and big dreams for their kids. Those simple values that they teach us in Sunday school, the golden rule, that you should do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
Those are the things I'm going to keep fighting for now that I'm in private life. Oh, good. Let's see. That's not it. That's not it. Where is the one I'm looking for? I thought that was it. Oh, no. Maybe Quimby has it. The fight goes on. That's what I just played, right? Yeah. He didn't apologize in that one, right? No. I never, ever intended to commit a criminal act. I never in any conversation intended to violate any criminal law. All the conversations, words and all, ought to be heard. This is not Richard Nixon and Watergate trying to keep the tapes from being heard. I want all the evidence heard. And I want it sooner rather than later so I can clear my name and we can get on doing the things that matter most. I want to thank you for giving me a chance to be here. I know these are tough times. I want to apologize to you for what happened. But I can't because I didn't do anything wrong. These are circumstances that have happened. And I'm sorry that we're all in this. I'll apologize for that. Wow. That's a telling clip, isn't it? That's a telling clip. Oh, what a tool. Yeah. Dude, just come clean, man. Come clean. Say, hey, I screwed up. I screwed this one up. I'm going to have to probably pay for it. And, man, this one wasn't good.
Dude, that's pretty gnarly, right? And say, you know, hey, listen, I have a dead raccoon on my head. We all know it. I'm sorry. What do you want me to do about it? We all know. Can we just pretend that it's hair? Yeah. I spray painted it black. Just for men. Works wonderfully. Maybe they need a spokesperson. Is that that stuff? What was that stuff that Ron Popeil used to have that came in a spray can? Shoot. What is that? Do you guys remember that? Yeah, but I don't know. I don't know what it's called. I mean, who had more rocks, Bogovic or Ron Popeil? That's great. I mean, that Ron Popeil had a set of rocks on him to sell you a spray can that created hair. Yeah. Well, that's good times. I bet that looked so awesome when you were like... Washing your hair and all that stuff was in the shower. Yeah, you go in a spa with a chick. It's like a hot day. It's all like melting down your face. That's a great Saturday Night Live moment. 570-1053 is the phone number. And text us. It's our last day of texts. No, I hate that.
35253. I know it, man. That makes me angry. I know. Has the economy really come to that? Has it? Yes. Is it really that bad? Thank you, Barack. Give us a break. Will you leave Barack alone? He did it, right? He's taking everything from us. He's cleaning it up. No. He is. He's working on it, Chad. He's making life hard for me, okay? No. It's getting harder and harder every day. Pain, suffering, and... Inconvenient. Thank you. That's what I'm going through. It's tough. Over all of this stuff. It's his fault. It's awful. Oh, shit. Leave him alone. I won't. Let's see. What else is happening? Hey, Robbie, at some point, I got to get some more of that throat coat. I think today's the last day I'm going to need the throat coat. I'm on the mend. Yeah. I'm better now. You were hacking this morning. I'm better though. Is this positive reinforcement? No, no, no. This morning I was hacking, but now I'm healed. Okay. But that was like 10 minutes ago. I know. I believe you. I know. I don't. You know, but that's like 50 years to a dog. You know what I mean? That is not accurate. I'm good to go.
That's not an accurate fact. It was at least a week for a dog, you know. So that was a week ago, Sky. You know what I mean? That was a week ago. Gosh, you look good in headbands. Oh, gosh. CPR. What is it, man? I don't know. I don't know either. I mean, it's really. Every once in a while, I'll look over at Sky. Oh, really, Eddie? Oh, really? Oh, I'm so disgusting. Eddie gave the, ah, you know what? Whatever. Yeah, I could pass. Whatever. Whatever. All right. I'm such a dork. So, yeah, there's five people on the show. It's me, Eddie, Sky, Ashley, and Rob. And no phone screening today. You know, we don't have any phone. Well, Rob is going to have to fill in so he doesn't get to be in here doing all of his normal ha-ha jokes. And we have two listeners that won the opportunity to come in. Oh, they're so good. That's right. We got P1 Kung Fu and P1 Raw. That's right. Raul came in second place but still got to come in. He's a digital TV repairman. Which is interesting, Raul, because I'm guessing that now with these new TVs, there has to be a whole new, you gotta know a whole new bunch of stuff to be able to do this stuff, right? With a digital? So that's what he does for a living. Married, got kids, and he is 33. P1 Kung Fu, she's 32. Rocked it in trivia, she won.
I did not know that P1 Kung Fu for a living is an accountant and a photographer. It's kind of cool. How will those two things go together? That's right. She will account for the stuff and then take pictures of it. So there you go. That means you're good with numbers, right Kung Fu? Yeah. Yeah, Mike is not. I'm not. He is not. Terrible. Eddie, are you good with numbers? I would say average. Oh, yeah? Yeah, I mean, I'm not great, but I can hold my own. Oh, man. I'm the worst at it. Let's see. She's been married for 10 years. Whoa. Wow, lady. And she's got a black belt and a keto. Oh. Okay, I'll be nice to you. That was the dog in the O.J. Simpson case, right? Yes, that was true. Yeah, it was a Nikito. I'll kick it in the face. Black belt. Come here, pooch. Yeah. Obama is really upset with Wall Street, man, and he's not holding back. Good. He thinks they're, you know.
Bunch of jerks over there. Bunch of jerks, man. Jerks. For real. Yeah. This is what he had to say about it. When I saw an article today indicating that Wall Street bankers had given themselves $20 billion worth of bonuses. The same amount of bonuses as they gave themselves in 2004 at a time when most of these institutions. We're teetering on collapse and they are asking for taxpayers to help sustain them. That is the height of irresponsibility. It is shameful. Listen to those shutter. You got your shot. Yeah. Like, why do you have to think? You have the picture of him. Yeah. Do you really need 7000 pictures? Listen to this. I saw an article today indicating that. Wall Street bankers. Wasting film. You are wasting it. Giving themselves $20 billion worth of bonus. And why aren't they digital now? Yes, listen. The same. Why are they digital? Why aren't they digital now? Well, they are, and they have that sound. For real. No, Mike. Ask Kung Fu. She's a photographer. They have a shutter sound in them. Why?
We're having a press conference here. I guess it sounds cool. It sounds like a press conference. Someone's speaking. If Barack was just talking and we didn't have those sounds, we wouldn't know that it was a press conference. He could be anywhere. What? He could be anywhere, doing anything. On a sailboat? Those sounds make me nuts. Shut up! I like them. Wow. Well, so, you know, Obama talked about the, like, $20 million in bonuses that Wall Street gave themselves. Well, other things that were uncovered were a group of insurance executives who had a $440,000 week-long retreat. A guy at Merrill Lynch. Now, these are all people who benefited from the bailout, keep in mind. A guy at Merrill Lynch who spent $87,000 on an area rug. Dude, are you serious? Those jerks over at Citigroup. who we're talking about spending $50 million on a brand new jet. Oh, my. So, yes, shameful. Dude, that's brutal. They're jerks, okay? So what is he going to do about it? I don't know if he can do anything about it because that money was given under the Bush administration, under their laws, under their rules about how that money could be spent and how it's accountable. Now he's planning on changing it. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Say, wait, wait, wait.
The Bush administration. He's talking about bonuses that they gave themselves last year. OK, but what he's not saying and what you're reading, I'm assuming, is that that bailout money that they took it and that they gave themselves billions of dollars worth of bonuses with it. Is that what you're saying that he's talking about? The bailout money that was put out last year? No, no. What I'm saying is these. The talks about buying jets and expensive area rugs and retreats and bonuses were given to these people while they were begging for bailout money. Yeah. Now that you can't really have accountability with that first wave of bailout money because that was given through the Bush administration under their accountability rules. Yes. Now this second wave, this new economic stimulus plan that was just passed through the House and still needs to go through the Senate, that's going to have tighter restrictions. Because of what's going on now, the lack of restrictions with this first wave of money. So that's kind of already given, kind of out of our control. Whoopsie. Too bad. We've messed it all up. This isn't the way we operate, but I wish we did. If we know who was doing this, which we obviously do because we're reporting on it. Right. Something should be done. Take it back. Take it back. You know what I mean? Yeah. But I just know that in the law of, you know.
In the United States, that isn't, like, legal. Like, once it's there, you're just kind of screwed. Like, we're all just kind of screwed on this one. Plus, that guy really needs that rug. Of course. Well, about $87,000. Like a polar bear rug. A polar bear rug. Well, there, I mean, polar bears are dying, though. I mean, global warming. Well, Eddie. Eddie, you might want to plug your ears on this one because P1 Paparazzi is on the line. But he has a point. He didn't want to say something. I hear cameras going off and I got to call in. I'm an expert. I'm the expert. It isn't about that. It's not about... Regale us with your knowledge. It isn't about that. Well, Eddie has a long-standing feud with P1 Paparazzi. Paparazzi, are you there? Yes, I am. And we call you that because, you know, in the early days of the Mikey Show here in San Diego, you'd go out and take pictures of us at events. Inappropriately. It wasn't that taking the pictures was inappropriate, but, you know, paparazzi would take every advantage of every shot. The amount. A little excessive. He would get quite a few shots. And so, thus, he was nicknamed P1 paparazzi. What were you going to say, paparazzi?
I was wondering what the odds are with Quimby working at the station now that she might become your permanent phone screener. All P1s love her. It's quite a day to ask that question. It's quite a day to ask that question. Why is it quite a day to ask that question, paparazzi? I just tuned into the radio, so I don't know. Why is it quite a day? Oh, it is quite a day because she did not show up to work. Oh, I did not know that. Yep. So Rob is... Rob is having to do it himself. That's such a delightful question. He just tuned in. He's amazing with his timing. How does he do it? Does he do it? He didn't know. Maybe it was a clever reset. It could have been a clever reset. It has to be. Thank you, P1 Paparazzi. Me screening him wouldn't give that away at all. That is a good point. What do you think about? P1 history teacher. How are you doing, Mikey? Good. Yeah, I wanted to ask Eddie's opinion on the Fioto Machida-Tiago Silva fight. Talk about it. Whoa, what did he say? UFC, right? Yes. Of course. We should have had Skype pronounce that. Oh, yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck. That's unfair. Oh, that is so unfair. Please. Eddie, what do you think? Well, you know, it's interesting. I think, you know, I've been hearing a lot of people talk about this particular fight.
even more so than the main event, which is George St. Pierre, BJ Penn. I don't know why people are so interested in this fight, but both guys are undefeated. They're both 13-0. Loyota Machida, he has a very unique style. and people don't know how to fight him. He uses chopsticks. No, is that correct? I did not know that. I did not know that. Eddie, is he able to make special moves and special holds with them? Is she racist? No, she's not. She's putting a question out there. She's making an observation. Is he coming to the ring with a dragon? Eddie, that would be stupid. Eddie, you're being ridiculous. And racist. I'm finished with this line of questions. Fine. Fine. I think Machida, you know, he's just hard to beat. And I think, you know, a lot of people think he's kind of boring because of it because people aren't able to really, you know, get into wars with the guy. So, you know, Tiago Silva's a good fighter, but he's going to have a hard time beating him. What do you think, history teacher? Yeah, I think so. Me and my brother have these conversations on whether or not he's the most boring fighter ever. So I just want to see.
Eddie's opinion on him was. Yeah, I mean, he's not an exciting guy to watch, but he wins fights, you know, so what can you do? There you go. Hey, thanks for the call, man. You guys hear about this elementary school teacher that got arrested for a four-year sexual relationship. It is so creepy. Mike. What's this? I don't know the details. What's the details? You know, I watched the news last night, and the thing that I heard was that the kid... was 11 years old when this thing started. And to top it off, it's her godson. Okay, so this is a woman teacher. Yeah, it's a female teacher. Female teacher. Yeah, elementary school. She teaches fifth grade at Sunny Slope Elementary School. And she became so close to the family that this boy became her godson. And like Eddie said, allegedly... They started having a sexual relationship when he was 11 years old. Oh, dude. Yeah, she's scheduled to be arraigned today in charges of sexually assaulting the boy. She is currently 32 years old. She's suspected of more than 60 counts of sexually assaulting a minor. And how old is he now? Four years ago. Four years ago. He's 15 years old. Just reaching puberty. Do we know how this came to light?
I heard that he was having some behavioral problems. And so he started seeing a counselor and talking to a counselor. And this came out during that. That's so terrible, man. Terrible. Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah, it's really creepy. Well, that is too bad. It's so weird, too, man. The whole female teacher doing that with kids. You know, like you got a couple of those cases like the LaFarve or what was her name in Florida? Lafarve. Lafarve. Rob. And then there was another one. Wasn't there another one? Like a real pretty young school teacher. Yeah. I don't know, man, but there's like these. There's been like 10, right? Yeah. There's been a handful. There's been 10 of female teachers with their young male students. I remember like. Yeah. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Pamela Smart was another one. Letourneau? Letourneau. Yeah.
They only make the news when it's, you know, like national news, I should say, when, you know, the chicks may be like really, really hot or they have like bikini pictures. Then it'll make national news. But this, you know, happens every once in a while, probably in, you know, most towns. You know, and what wears me out is that I always think of females as wired differently. You know, like I don't think when I hear these stories, I'm like, I don't. It's hard for me to believe because I don't think of women like. Doing that, doing that. Well, they were interviewing parents who know this teacher and who have kids in her class. And they're saying they want to wait until the police department fully investigates all of this. Because to them, it's hard to imagine that this woman would do that. Because she's, you know, so good with children and such a nice lady. And, you know, not saying that, you know, I mean, anybody's capable of anything, it seems. But still, you know, if this kid was having behavioral problems, I mean, who really knows? You know, we should really wait until the investigation is complete. You know, the thing that I take out of it and, you know, having a son, the thing that I take and me, you know, you know my history. I think the thing that I take out of it is conversations with your kids. As soon as they're able to understand, explaining to them that nobody.
Can touch this stuff. Nobody can ask you about touching this stuff. And if they do. Then it's bad. And if they tell you that it's okay. They're lying to you. No matter how nice they seem. No matter how kind they seem. No matter how much before they ever do this. You may have trusted them. If they do that. Then I'm telling you as your pop. As somebody that loves you dearly. That it's not okay. And I'm going to tell you that if you tell me, I'm a safe person to tell and I'm never going to be angry or upset with you. And, you know, no, nothing. It's not going to be that bad things are going to happen to you. You got to tell dad or mom. But wow, man, that is so rough. That is so rough right here in San Diego County. So people are calling in 570. You can call in about anything you want, and we'll talk to you. Let's see. P1 Laker, are you there? Yes, I am. What's up, Laker? How are you doing, man? I'm kind of upset about the $20 million bonus that the stockbrokers or people received. Because if we owed IRS, they would put a lien on all our stuff to get their money. Yeah.
I don't understand. Sky. He's saying that, you know, these people got a bailout from us, basically a loan. You know, they owe us money. So for them to give themselves $20 million, he thinks that, you know, the IRS should, you know, take $20 million back. Oh, I got what you're saying. But the loan has terms. You know, it's just like, say we borrowed $100, you know, just to simplify it, say we borrowed $100 from the bank. And we gave ourselves, you know, $50. Well, as long as we're paying the bank back every month, they're $5 or whatever we pay a month, we're still golden under the rules of the agreement. Like, it sucks. It's not fair. You shouldn't be able to borrow our taxpayers' money when you're living all lavishly. But, you know. Well, we never have to give them a loan again. You know, people that do that. Oh, yeah. You know. Hopefully, yeah. That's a safe basket for money right now. Say that again? They're adding more money to them under the news. But different companies, yeah. They want some money, Mike. Hey, man, thanks for the call. I appreciate it. It ain't right. It ain't right. It ain't right. The squeal. What are you doing, dude? Hey, this is a trip, man. Do you guys ever remember one of our presidents saying,
Who they think will win the Super Bowl? I don't. No. I don't either. They're so careful about that kind of stuff because they don't want to upset anybody. Yeah. Well, not President Obama. No, not so much. Not President Obama. He's going to put it out there. I thought McCain was the maverick. I wish the Cardinals the best. Kurt Warner is a great story, and he's closer to my age than anybody else on the field. I am a longtime Steelers fan. Mr. Rooney, the owner, was just an extraordinary supporter during the course of the campaign. Yeah, Franco Harris was campaigning for me in Pittsburgh. What? He was? Coach signed up with you, too. Right. Coach Tomlin was a supporter. So, you know, I wish the best to the Cardinals. They've been long-suffering. It's a great Cinderella story, but other than the Bears, the Steelers are probably the team that's closest to my heart. Wow. Whatever. He just hates Arizona. He despises them. He's going to sell it to Mexico. He despises them. John McCain, get out of here. Cardinals, get out of here. Fix the economy. Eddie, are you excited the Steelers are going to be in the Super Bowl? Excited. That's an interesting word.
Where are you with the Steelers? I'm in a weird place in the Super Bowl. I don't know. I'm not super jacked for it. I'm going to watch the game, obviously. I love the Steelers. I do love the Steelers. But there's something about this. game that is not generating the kind of buzz and excitement that I'm used to. I thought that this is the perfect case scenario for you. I want it to be. I want it to be. But I'm talking about in the media, in fans' reactions. The Super Bowl's not even sold out. I think it's Obama, to be honest. Why do you blame him for everything? I think it's Obama. Will you stop blaming him? I think that Obama has somehow done that. He's a nice guy. Are you excited about Bruce Springsteen for the halftime show? Eddie? Come on, are you dancing in the dark? Yeah, come on. You know that they're taking wages. You could bet on anything at the Super Bowl, and they're wagering what songs he'll play. You can bet on that. Yeah, they're also wagering how long Jennifer Hudson's national anthem. There's an over-under on that. There's an over-under. The color of the Gatorade on the winning coach. For real? Yeah, that's a bet. That is weird, man. Dude, it's crazy. Well, okay, now here's what I heard on the over-under with Jennifer Hudson. Yeah.
I heard that it's two minutes, that it was less than two minutes before, but they found on YouTube a couple of examples of her singing the National Anthem. That's going to be like 20 minutes. Oh, dude, right? So, yeah, we'll do some Bruce Springsteen this morning because he's going to be the halftime show. Our phone number is 570-1053. So, I don't know if you heard about this, but... Right here in San Diego, the U.S. Justice Department pulled a hoax on their employees to see if they would give out personal information. Oh, man. I know it. You got punked. I'll tell you what happened right after this. I have three. How old did you meet the good-looking girls at the workout joints and stuff? But that's false advertising, I think. You know, show them on TV, these good-looking women run. Where they at when I go down their left ways, you know? I got two-ton teen on a floor mat over there, you know, looking at me like I'm a little Debbie oatmeal cream cookie or something over there. Well, she come walking over, she goes, excuse me, can you spot me? Heck yeah, you're 300 pounds. I spotted you on the way in here, for God's sake. Ray Charles could have seen you over there working out. Damn, you're a big old woman there. You could jump up in the air and get stuck.
And your hind end's hungry. It's eating your leotards. Look at that right there. What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. I'm of the P1 Army. The Mikey Show. You can't smell it on my breath. It doesn't make me stumble around or pass out. But it gives me a tremendous buzz. I'm talking about gambling. I loved the action, and I thought I could win it all back. In the end, I lost more than money. I hurt everyone who cared about me. If the funds become something that's hurting you or your family, get help. Call 1-800-GAMBLER. That's 1-800-GAMBLER. A message from the California Office of Problem Gambling. Hey, I got to tell you about Frogs Fitness. Frogs Fitness is fantastic. I was there yesterday. I was working out with Wendy, the Frogs Fitness in Encinitas. And it's awesome. People are asking me.
So how has your experience been working out with Frogs Fitness? It's been awesome. My muscles, you know, when I first went in there and I was first doing it, my muscles were really, really sore. And now they're getting into this place where they're like a good sore. I don't know really how to describe it other than a good sore, you know. And it feels great to have that good sore and also to feel my muscles actually developing, getting bigger. I love it. I love the environment. I love how clean it is. I love the TVs. I love all of it. It's everything that you'd ever want in a gym. It's the only gym I would ever consider going to. And I've been to the other gyms. I've done it. I'm like all of us. There's been a time in my life where I was like, okay, it's time. And I went there. There's a reason you stop going to a gym. Rock Sleep Train mattress centers. And it's looking okay on the freeways so far. Just one trouble spot we're dealing with. Westbound La Jolla Village drive on route to South 5. Apparently a car hit a pedestrian. So, you know, you're going to have injuries there. Watch out for lots of confusion. Coming out of the North County, though, not a problem. Everything moving nicely for you out of the East County. Keep in mind, you get the highway advisory out there, though, from Alpine to Imperial County. So high-profile vehicles do take extra precaution. I'm Kelly Danik on Rock 105.3. Sleep Train could be this weekend for you. I like to do what I like to do. I don't care really how I look anymore. Yeah. I'm just like, whatever. Sky. I love award shows. I love the OC. I love 90210. You know, so when it comes to pop culture, it's my like one lap of youth. Boston Rob. I'm the ultimate recycling machine.
It's pretty garbage disposal. It's true. Thank you. And Ashley. I support sweat everywhere I go. Oh, wow. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Don't stop. I mean, there's a couple of songs that I dig, but besides the usuals that I just really, I'm not into it. It's not my thing. No. The horns, the stuff, you know what I mean? I just, maybe it was because I wasn't a part of that time, but he's playing the halftime show, if you are into it. Okay, so before we went to break, I said that the U.S. Justice Department pulled a hoax. And this hoax was on its own employees. This is weird, man. To see if they would give out personal information, which, by the way, I'm fine with. You're cool with that? Well, I mean, I think it's checks and balances. I think you should be doing it. Yeah, it's helping protect them, but I've never heard of this being done before. It's kind of weird. What did they do?
So basically they sent out an email to all of their own employees saying, hey, you're entitled to money if your retirement account has lost more than 30 percent due to stock market declines, which most people's retirement accounts have lost more than 30 percent due to everything that's been going on in the stock market. Right. And then it says, you know, if you have lost the 30 percent, you're entitled to some money and it directs you to go to a link. where you're required to plug in a bunch of different account information to get said money. And so it came out that this was a hoax, and a department spokeswoman for the Justice Department said that this hoax is part of a... Part of regular computer testing. Interesting. And they didn't give any figures like how many people actually fell for it, how many people received the email, or who approved said hoax. But it's making news because it is very different for an employer to do that. Percentage of people you think fell for it. That's what I want to know. Yeah. What do you think? I would say 50%. Or...
Is it a deal where we've got to consider who these people are? They know better, blah, blah, blah. Well, and it also, to me, I want to know who the email was addressed from. You know what I mean? Did they make it look like it was actually addressed from their 401k people? Or was it just some random company name? Dude, I'll get stuff from my bank and I'm skeptical. Yeah. You know what I mean? I just, I don't trust stuff. Yeah. Dude, I got something in the mail the other day. You know how, like, you can go and you can apply to get your property tax reassessed? Yeah. And basically you just go to the county assessor's website, you print out a form, you fill it out, and you mail it in. Uh-huh. Well, I did that. And because my property tax, you know, needs to be reassessed and like most people's does. And so I got this letter in the mail and it said on like the front regarding your property tax reassessment. And I was like, oh, and I open it up and it's some company, I believe in Carlsbad.
who is sending out a form that looks totally official and says, we want to save you money. If your property tax needs to be reassessed, we will do it for you. Just sign away permission and send us a $90 check. Dude. So all you have to do is go to the county website, download a form, and fill it out, and you're golden. But this company is going around making it seem like the only way you can accomplish this is by sending them a $90 check and filling out a form that gives them the right. basically to fill out the form that you could download from the internet. That's gnarly. Yeah. So they're just, you know, trying to, you know, take one over on people that don't know that, you know, you can just for free get this form and fill it out yourself. Yeah. But they're charging 90 bucks. Have you guys got the Nigerian scam ever in your email? Oh, yeah. You got it, Eddie? For sure. Yeah, a long time ago I got that. Those things are scary. Yeah. And doesn't it make you wonder, like, how did you get my email? Like, how did a scam artist actually get my email? Do they buy them? Can any citizen buy email addresses? Probably. Probably can, right? That's creepy. No, that's what spam is all about. Eddie, didn't you get one on your text? Oh, yeah. Did you get a text scam? Yeah, a while ago. I'm trying to remember what it was about, but yeah, I got it on a text message, some sort of like scam thing. Do you think that that's the same thing? They buy phone numbers? Like a citizen can buy phone numbers for advertising purposes?
Yeah, well, I know businesses can buy phone numbers, so I don't see why a person couldn't claim they had it. It's the Glenn Gary leads. That's right. It's like the Glenn Gary leads. It's the golden ones. It's the gullible leads. Dude, that stuff is so scary, man. Yeah, and they're saying people are really stepping up the hoaxes right now because, you know. The scammers are hurting just like everybody else. Well, they're preying on everybody's fears. Yeah, a lot of them with the foreclosures. It's disgusting. This happened in Eddie's area. The Burlington Coat Factory was robbed by an armed guy last night. Dude, that's really close to my house. Is it really? How are you going to rob them? Their prices are so low. I love that place. They've got great deals there. I'm serious. There's something about the randomness of the Burlington Coat Factory. It's a huge store, too, the one that they're talking about. So that seems like a pretty crazy attempt to just run in there. He was cold. That's a good point. Maybe he was what? Cold.
Yeah, but he robbed money, not coats. Oh, that's true. Out of all times, you wouldn't need a coat right now. That's true. Maybe he stole the money to go to a better place to buy a better jacket. Could be. That's possible, too. Think about that, Sky. Think about that. I'll think about it. Yeah, so it was a little bit before 8 o'clock last night, the Burlington Coat Factory on El Cone Boulevard in La Mesa. I guess the guy went up just to one of the cashiers and pointed a gun at them and demanded money, and the cashier gave the dude money, and no one was hurt. The guy's described as a black male between 35 and 40 with a bald or shaven head, wearing a black hat, red long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Of course, if you have any details, contact the police. If I am a detective, I think the first things I want to know are, are there any former employees that left here disgruntled? I want to know that. Yeah. And I also want to be taking a look at not just surveillance of this, but surveillance of the last couple of weeks, because you could probably guarantee that dude was in there. Scoping it out. Scoping it out. There you go. Trying to make sure. But I don't know, man. Whenever I hear of a random place.
Like the Burlington Coat Factory. It makes you go, well, dude must have known something about their security or something. It's not the nicest area in the world. I mean, it's on El Cajon Boulevard, right by University over there. And there's some kind of a rough area a little bit. Shady? A little bit. A little bit? A little bit. This text message says, Mikey, why don't you guys just pay for the text? How much could it be? It's P1 Sparky. You want to know something? I would. They won't let us. I've offered to buy my own computer and put my own computer in my office because the one here is so terrible. They won't let you. And it has something to do with you suing them. Really? Yeah, it has something to do with you later going, I paid for blah, blah, blah. And, you know, they don't want it. Well, and I know they have issues of anything being connected to the network. Yeah. Ah, the network. Yeah, nothing you owe could be connected to the network. You may compromise the network. Whatever that means. Yeah, right? I don't even know. And if you haven't heard, they say that they are taking their texts away at the end of the month. I know it. Today's the last day. Text us. 35253. Let's do our text swan song. Speaking of songs.
No, Mike. Skye. No, Mike. I say no. Why do you say no? You don't even know what he's going to say. Oh, I do know what he was going to say. I heard some murmurings in the office yesterday. No, no murmurs. Yes, I heard some murmurs. I heard some murmurs, okay? So what with the murmurs? Why do we have to get so... Why don't you give it a shot before you get so upset, Skye? Maybe you can think of it as a tribute. Oh, I like it. You ever think of that? For sure. Yeah. Congratulations. I'll take your apologies now. I apologize for you making a song that mocks me. Oh, really? That mocks an injury I suffered. An injury. It was an injury. Sky had a sunburn. Wow. Yeah, real bad. You were a victim of the sun. That's right. I was. Sky had a bad sunburn. Who was that, dude? She refers to it as a second-degree sunburn. Well, that's what the doctor referred to it as. A joke. That's what the doctor referred to it. No welts, no blisters. It was deep. Bone was exposed. It was a deep burn. So deep. Well, because of this burn, which, by the way, her mom and her had to call the Kaiser helpline. And they told her to put urine on it. That's a true story. That is a true story. Which was a bad suggestion. In light of, yeah. In hindsight, it was. But at the time, it sounded like a personally. They didn't know what they were dealing with. Perfectly reasonable.
They've never dealt with a sunburn so severe. It pulls the sting out, but it wasn't the sting that was the issue. It was the pinching of the nerves that was the problem. And to Sky's defense, she was taking medication that told her, do not go in sunlight. Yes. And she did. Like vampire pills? Against their... They were not vampire pills. It was a special medication. It was orthotricycling. That's the pill. Will you stop it? Will you stop it? That's the pill. There was a couple of medications. The pill. So do you want to hear the parody song called My Back is on Fire? And it's to the tune of Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. Which is one of my favorite songs right now, which you're about to ruin. You're going to love this then. No, I will never be able to enjoy that song again. This is the actual song. This is the actual song. So I'll let you enjoy the actual song for a second, Sky. Because this is going to be the last time. That it'll ever sound this way to you again? Why? Because you'll be singing the other song every time? You'll be singing the new one? No, because I'll hear it. It'll make me think of the parody and I'll have to change the station. No. Yes. Well, let me just tell you something. That's going to happen to every human being that's going to hear it. Oh, it's a great song. It really is. You guys are jerks. It is. It's fantastic. You're jerks. Why are you acting like this? I know. You think she would be thanking us.
She will after she hears it. Yes, that is correct. She just needs to hear it. And also, when we come back, we're going to be doing a little sports dirt with Eddie. And he's going to be giving us an update on Heinz Ward because is Heinz Ward healthy enough to play? We'll find out with Eddie on the sports dirt next. Great show, everybody. Great show. I have a monster truck. I went to AIS, and they saved me. Basically, I had just a regular car before I had this monster truck. I had the monster truck, and I still saved $600 every quarter, every six months on my insurance. I tried to hide my truck around the corner and just say it was a basic truck, and I started talking to them. They're like, what kind of lift do you have? I'm like, you know what? I got a nine-inch lift, and I got gas shocks and everything. They're like, don't worry about it. We'll take care of you, and I'm super stoked. Generally, if you tell somebody that, they're going to dock you at least a couple hundred bucks more.
This company is amazing. Thank you for the call, Ryan. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Thank you, man. Thank you. $1,200 a year. $1,600 a year is what I saved. $166.50 a month is what I saved by doing AIS. And everybody listening to me right now, if you call this number, they are most likely going to save you money. And you're going to pay. Why would you want to pay more than less? The phone number is 1-800-777. Or try their website, AISinsurance.com. Hey, Eddie, isn't there always like alternative programming, you know? They're having the Wipeout Bowl, which is that show Wipeout that Rob auditioned for. And like having this crazy halftime edition of Wipeout, I guess. That's the one thing I've heard that I'm going to watch. What about the Puppy Bowl? Dude, I was going to say, I heard about this thing called the Puppy Bowl. Oh, you've never seen it? I've never seen it. Oh, it's so good. It's so good. Dude. It's so good. I wasn't going to talk about that. Question. Yeah. Because I don't understand this. Yeah.
Is it the whole game or just halftime? I think it's the whole game. It's ours. It's ours. And it's like different angles of this mini little football field that's enclosed in plexiglass around the side so they can't get out. It's a nightmare you would have, Eddie. It's basically a nightmare you might have. It would be worse if it were cats. They have different toys in there, and it's just puppies playing on this mini football field for the whole entire Super Bowl. Come on. It's precious. All right. It's awesome, dude. It's great. I got other stuff to talk about. It's great. It's great. I heard it's great. No. It's rad. No. Well, then why don't we do this? Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. How do I top that? I know it. Okay. The puppy bowl. All right. Before we get into the Super Bowl talk, there is other stuff going on, including three weeks after being dismissed by Boston College for pursuing that NFL head coaching job, Jeff. Jagudvinsky was hired by the Buccaneers to be their offensive coordinator. So he's got a job. Really? Yeah. Former Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is joining ESPN as an analyst. Not going to coach? No, not this year. It doesn't look like. Wow. Well, he's going to be good as an analyst. I like Herm Edwards. I do too. I think he'll be good. The Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is going to replace the Titans. Chris Johnson in the Pro Bowl. Chris Johnson, remember, got hurt in that playoff game. So Marshawn Lynch.
What was it? I don't know. Do you know what she was saying? I think it was like a squirrel or something that ran in here. That's weird. The NBA All-Star Reserves were named, and Shaq makes it for the 15th time. 15 times? Are you going to do Shaq now? Really? She's our new Shaq. Was that Shaquille O'Neal? I think it was. Shaq, what do you think about making it to the NBA All-Star team? I was very excited. What? What? I hope you're happy. What did he say? I hope. Hey, you guys, I think Shaq's choking on a piece of steak. Give him the Hamlet. Let's let that Shaq choke. You're terrible. You're terrible. What? Something about a tampon? No, no, no. She said terrible. Charles Bikeley now. Wow.
I think that one just needs a little tweak. Just a little. Yeah, yeah. Shaquille O'Neal is a working part for Ashley. She's trying to figure it out. She's let her figure it out. So this is a good one. Former Padres pitcher David Wells slams Joe Torre in that book that Torre's putting out. For real? Yeah. Why? What's up? He's just like, basically, Joe Torre had his favorites. And if you weren't one of Joe Torre's boys, you got treated like crap. Really? And, you know. The favorites were Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Roger Clemens. Those guys were treated differently than everybody else. And Wells is like, I'm not saying he's not a good manager, but he's not a good person because he treated people differently. If you haven't heard, he hasn't. Joe Torre just wrote a tell-all book. So he's giving the dirt and dishing it. Apparently this book is pretty crazy. I'm kind of wanting to read it now. I'm going to have to read it. Everything I've heard on ESPN and stuff, it's like... Causing so much controversy. I would think that even Yankee fans would be interested in it. Oh, for sure. They're the most interested, I would think. So if a tell-all book was written about the Red Sox, Rob, you'd be interested, right? Oh, yeah. I'd have to know. It's just, I mean, behind the scenes, it won't ever get. It's great. You know what I mean? Yeah. All right. Let's talk about it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it.
What do we got? Well, the big news out of the Super Bowl. You know, very slow week of news for the Super Bowl. Nothing really going on. That's kind of what I'm talking about as far as buzz goes. There's just not really a lot of news coming out. It is what it is. The one news is Heinz Ward and his injury. He did practice yesterday for the first time, and he's ready to go. So I don't think that's going to be a concern for Steeler fans. And that's a big deal because that dude is phenomenal, man. Oh, absolutely. He plays a huge part in not only the passing game but the running game because, I mean, he'll knock your socks off, you know, blocking-wise. So, Eddie, here's a big question that I have for you. Yeah. Since the head coach of the Cardinals came over from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ken Wisenhunt, former offensive coordinator. Ken Wisenhunt. Name makes this guy giggle. I don't get it. I don't either. Does it sound like something? It's a word whiz in there. Oh, it makes sense. It's a word whiz. Cheese whiz. Oh, okay. And so my question is, do the Cardinals have any extra advantage because he worked there? Maybe a little bit in personnel because he knows the players, but not as far as like their offensive game plan at all. Okay. Because, you know, Mike Tomlin is the new head coach there. You know, he's only been there for a couple of years and, you know, he's changed everything.
You know, he'll know the guys. He'll know, you know, oh, this guy's good at this, this guy's good at this, but he won't know what they're doing or anything like that. I heard that Wizenhunt was talking to, it's because the name, it's Wiz, isn't it? Gets her every time. Gets her every single time, dude. But I heard that Wizenhunt was on the phone with Bill Cowher. Yeah. And he was asking for, like, advice on stuff, you know, because he said, you know, hey, I'm in the same position you were in when you were the coach. And he was giving him advice on how to, like, do walkthroughs, how to, like, when the players should go to sleep, all that kind of stuff. So he's tapping into all those resources. Those guys won the Super Bowl, so, I mean, I guess it wouldn't hurt. Yeah. You know? Yeah. That's not bad. So this is going to be fun, man. This is going to be a fun Super Bowl. I hope so. It's going to be great, Mike. You know, as always, when your team is not in it, I just want... It'll be a great game. You know, last year was a great game. Sorry, Rob. But, you know, it was a fun Super Bowl to watch. And that's all. I'm just looking for a competitive game. You're not going to see that, but that's what I'm hoping for. Yeah. We're not going to see that? No. You do not. You do not feel that. It's going to be a slaughter? What are you saying? What are you saying? What are you saying, sir? I can break it down for you. You're not saying that. I am ready for you to break down the Super Bowl.
I want to be here and say this is going to be a great game, great Super Bowl. And, man, look at those Arizona Cardinals. Yeah, man. Look at them. They're in the Super Bowl. Don't do it. I don't think it's going to happen. I think that the Steelers are going to dominate this game. Oh, really? Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh, really? Don't say that. Okay, okay. So when Fitzgerald comes up out of the pile, they can make the catch. May I finish? Really? Yes, really. The Steelers are better than the Cardinals in almost every category. But they're not better. Come on, man. Their defense is going to, I think, just smother the Cardinals. I think Kurt Warner is probably going to throw about three interceptions. I disagree. They're not going to be able to run the football against the Steelers. No, they're going to throw it. Give me your prediction. I think the Steelers win pretty handily. I think the Cardinals, you know, aren't going to score very much. I think the Steelers win 24-9. Oh, that is full de-respect. That is so far off, my friend. I'm so deflated right now. I know, I know. I would love to say the Arizona Cardinals would shock the world, but it's not going to happen. Here's what I think will happen in my dreamy land, okay? Yeah. In my dreamy land, Ken Wisenhunt is going to pull out some tricks that he hasn't shown all season.
Some plays, some tricks that we haven't seen all season long. They don't need tricks. They've got Fitzgerald. Well, the tricks will involve Fitzgerald. Yeah, that man carried his team to the freaking Super Bowl and he's going to carry them to the title. They're just happy to be there. That is so not true, Eddie. I respectfully disagree, my friend. Well, here's the deal. I know everybody has been wanting to know what Eli Manning has to say. Are you kidding me with that? What are you talking about? Who wants to know that? They were huge underdogs last year. And so let's find out what Eli has to say about being an underdog in the Super Bowl. It's something that I think they probably enjoy. We enjoyed it last year. We kind of took that as motivation, being our dog. No one believing in ourselves, saying, hey, it's all about the guys in this locker room. We've got to trust each other and believe in each other. You can hear how big your mouth is. That's all that matters.
You know, going out there, playing as a team, believing as a team. You kind of feel everybody's against you. You got some Oreo crumbs right here. You know, you come together. I think it makes the team a lot closer. He just finished an Oreo with his brother. Just really rally around each other and just having total faith that the guys are going to step up and make the plays. You're so boring. Oh, man. You know, to be very tight. It's motivational. Breathing through your nose. You get motivated and support each other so much. San Diego's not a big Eli Manning city. No. You know what? No. when he turned us down to come play here. Didn't want to play San Diego. Get me away from them. Send me to New York. I hate nice weather. I know. Well, oh man, I hope that doesn't happen. I think it's going to be an ugly game for the Cardinals. I think they're going to really struggle. And I think the Steelers are going to run the football. down their throats. I think Willie Parker is going to be the MVP. No, he won't. Kurt Warner will be the MVP. No, Fitzgerald will. He will rule the game and he will catch multiple touchdowns. He's going to get sacked like five times. He may even get knocked out of the game. It's going to be his best game in the Super Bowls. This will be his best one. He'll shatter his own records. Shatter his own Super Bowl records. Shatter his forearm when James Harrison comes off the edge and knocks him out.
Ready for the world to be shocked with this, man. I would like to see it. I would like to see it, but it's not going to happen. You'll see him hoist that Lombardi trophy over his head. Well, Sky, it's now time for your tribute song. Oh, finally. No. Let's bring this on. I've been dying for this. You're ruining my life. We're not. Yes. We're approving your life. You're approving the quality of your life. Which one are you doing? Here's the deal. You're ruining it. We're going to play the parody song. It's brand new. We're going to debut it right here on the Mikey Show right now. Just a little backstory. No. Quite literally. Skye, when I worked with her 10 years ago, Skye and I worked together in San Jose. 10 years ago. 10 years. How many times do we have to tell this story? I don't even know what you're referring to. You are a jerk face. I was in the studio. I'll never forget this afternoon. Did the afternoon show for KSGO in San Jose. I'll never forget this afternoon. Skye. Sky walked into the studio. Now, I must tell you, these are my recollections. I do not remember her. The truth. I do not remember. Well, and it would make sense. Her face or whatever was not sunburned. But that would make sense because it was her back that was on fire. Okay? Okay. And she came in. She was wearing. I was laying on the beach the day before reading a magazine laying on my stomach.
I thought you had some street fair. No, I had a tube top on. Don't you remember some street fair? No, she was laying out. I remember that. No, no, no. Yeah, I don't remember where I was. You said you were at some fair and you had some, like, loose top on. Well, here's what I... I thought that was when you re-exposed it. I re-exposed it at my lunch break. Okay. But I was in Santa Cruz reading a real estate magazine laying on the beach. It was a real estate magazine. I'm going to buy this island and I'm going to buy this country. Shut up. I like to look at real estate magazines. Shut up. I don't understand the references to the money. I don't understand that. Show me the money. Whoa. Hey, guys. I love money. Okay, fine. Just get this stupidness over with. Well, there was Skye in the studio saying, you know, she was crying and she was fanning her eyes with both hands. She was fanning her eyes. Oh. And she was just, she was telling me, I must go home because I have a sunburn. And I said, and I was confused. So I said, you know, because I thought, well, maybe her leg got bit off in addition. So I said, what do you mean?
And she said, well, yes, I've got this terrible sunburn and I have called my mom to come pick me up. I said, why is your mom coming to get you? She said, because I cannot drive myself. I was doubled over in pain. And so her mom. Don't laugh. It's true. I've had normal sunburns, too. This was not a normal sunburn. This was different. Her mother picked her up from work. and took her back to her mom's house. She couldn't be, she couldn't take care of herself. So she couldn't be taken home. She had to be cared for. Well, it's on my back. How am I supposed to put anything on there when I'm by myself? And so there she was. And they called, you know, they were like, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. You know, nothing's helping. My mom was worried. She'd never seen me like that. Never seen her like this. So they called Kaiser. Okay. And they called the Kaiser helpline. And Kaiser advised to put urine on it. Well, that's Mike. It's the truth. What the heck? It's what they advised. Why? It was ill advisement, according to Skye. She says they put it on there. Her and her mom applied it. It didn't work. Yeah, that may have worked for a normal sunburn, but not for what I had. But not for this. Super sunburn. That's right. It was a super sunburn. Second degree is what the doctor said.
A second degree. You had no blisters or anything. Are you a doctor? Yes, actually. Now you're a doctor. Yeah, what's up? Now this time. So here is Skye's tribute to this awful sunburn. I hope you enjoy it. Let's do this. Roll up on me one time. Give me some trouble. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm feeling it. I'm going to teach all you kids a lesson that don't know about the danger of a sunburn. It can really hurt you if you're not careful. Then you might have to call Kaiser. But enough of that. Let's get right to the point. The sun was blazing. So hot. I said, ow. I was burning. Sing it with me. Now let's do this. My peewee spray. I was dyed. He didn't use lotion. Lotion in the back. Tip your waitresses and rub on that SPF 45. Make it 455. Peter, is it hot in here? Oh, you are new eyes. You really did. The people here at the Casbah are just loving it. That was nuts. That was really good. You were literally on fire. How ironic. I mean, think about the irony that she's singing about her back being on fire, and at the same time, she was actually... She's burning up the charts. We got some irony up in here. That's right.
Because the fire, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Oh, no. I just looked at her, and she's burning through me. Like her back? That's ironic. I mean. Got some irony up in here. Yeah, you have a good time recording that, Mike? Sky, I didn't record it. You had a lot of fun. Sky 2 recorded it. You had a lot of fun there. Sky 2. You enjoyed yourself. Come on. Mikey's show. Let's let the listeners. Oh, man. Oh, Jakey, that was so funny. No, was it, Jake? No, I'm sure it was. Oh, no. Wow. Well, I'm glad that Sky 2 was able to give some of her time to be able to go in and record that sucker. So good. And, you know, obviously your reactions at 570-1053. And your text messages at 35253. And let us know what you thought of Sky's tribute to her own back. No, thank you. Her back is on fire. It's going to be in my head all day, Mike. Well, yeah, it's never going to not be in your head. The song is ruined, basically. Every time you hear this song. It's completely ruined. Every time you hear it, that's what it's going to be. It's totally ruined. My back is on fire. My back is on fire. Yeah, it's already in my head. Thank you. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. And Weekend Worry Ward is coming up.

Hey guys, good morning. Things aren't too bad out here. It's Cal Walker in for Rick this morning with Friday the way it should be, a fairly quiet ride throughout. There have been wind warnings posted in the mountains for the last couple of days, and the weather guys say that throughout the weekend it's going to be nasty out there. So if you're headed to the desert for the weekend to play, be careful pulling that trailer. Otherwise, fairly typical stuff. North County 15 South is getting busy off Highway 78, but it doesn't last too long by 9th Avenue or so you're out of it. A great story in the south end of the county this morning. Even the bridge has been clear. It's been nasty for the last couple of weeks. If you head over to the island. I don't see any problems on the bridge nor on the freeways 5 and 805. A little bit of a hitch on that 805 there toward Mission Valley through North Park. Even Interstate 8 out of our East County, typically busy by this time of day, is looking pretty darn nice this Friday morning. Just a reminder where you're out there, keep an eye out for the kids getting on and off the school buses about this time. A safety report from Barona Casino, certified best video poker. And the tuna fish was like, I think it was an earthquake. The giant squid name. Herm was all... Expect, I mean, this is your whole halftime show. You know? I mean, you're either into it or you're not. Who is it? I don't know, man. This is a good song. I'm not mad at this. Yeah, I'm not mad at this song. I like this one. I like three. I think I like three Bruce Springsteen songs. What do we got? No, actually, let's make it four. I think I like that new wrestler song, too. Oh, yeah, I love that one.
can't do that or that song at the halftime of the Super Bowl. Well, and he had a new album come out on Tuesday, so you know he's going to probably work some new songs that no one has ever heard before. I think that he might slow it down one time. But it's the Super Bowl, Mike. Just one time, man. I think he might slow it down one time. Mike, it's the Super Bowl. He'll take, like, let's say that the Cardinals are down at halftime. He might take that opportunity to do a song for them. And be like, if you've ever seen Kurt Warner struggle, you've seen me. Maybe you will. Please don't. And then everyone can put their lighters up. Or their cell phones. And they'll show, on the big screen, they'll show clips of the team getting beaten in the first half. And they'll be like, you've seen me. And they'll show their sad, dejected faces as they were walking into the... You know, locker room in slow motion. You see me. And then Mickey Rourke pops in and he's like, better luck next year. Better luck next year. Better luck next year. There's always next year. Why does everybody have that same, like, accent when she does voices? There's always next year. I don't know. That's a good question. Like, why? Don't look like this. Don't look like this. That's not true. Not true. I think it's kind of a little bit true.
You want to do a wee little weekend worry wart? Oh. What would you say about it? What are you worried about? What is going on that has got you worried this weekend? Now, I'm looking for spicy stuff. I'm not looking for your, you know, I don't really want, well, you know, I'm taking my driver's permit lesson. It's not juicy enough. What I want is, yeah, I'll tell you what I'm worried about. I'm going to be meeting my first girlfriend since 13 years. I haven't seen her for 13 years. Something like that. Something crazy that's got your gut. I'm going to a Super Bowl party this weekend and my current girlfriend and ex-girlfriend are both going to be there. Thank you.
Eddie, that's crazy, Eddie. You must be worried. And she's your wife now. She's not your girlfriend anymore. That's not me. That's crazy, Eddie. How are you going to handle it? Yeah. What are you going to do? Like, are you going to talk to her? Headband. Pay attention. It's not me. It's the headband talking. Or are you just going to pretend like you don't even know who she is? What are you going to do? I just said it's not me. Oh, I thought. What? I was giving an example. I wanted to really know how you were going to deal with this. No, I don't. I'm not having this problem. You know what I'm saying? Why would you bring that up? 570-1053. You're really into me today, aren't you? I don't like you very much. What is going on? I don't know. She's something else. What's happening? She's coming after me. I am not. You are? I am not. What? Are you coming after me? I am friendly. Come on, you guys. It's Friday. I'm a friendly friend. Oh, shoot. Please. Monday, Friday. 570-1053. It's Weekend Worry War. And then we want to check up with you on Monday. What are you worried about? What do you have going on? Maybe you're getting some kind of a... Very painful surgery. The boo is getting a bunch of teeth pulled as we speak. My husband is. And I am like, part of me wants to call the dentist's office right now and see how he is. What are you? I'm nervous for him. Thank goodness he can't hear this. I am nervous for him. So humiliating. And please, if anybody knows him, don't tell him she said that.
for him. He's getting some teeth pulled out and he's claiming that they're only going to use Novocaine. I don't think that's appropriate. What would she say if she called? I just want to check in and see if he's doing okay. This is Bunny Boo's wife. Can you please run back and find out if he's alive? Is he still cuddly? Did he break his cuddle bone? I'll be caring for him all weekend. Lots of oatmeal and soup. The Friday before the Super Bowl? Dude. I know. What about snacks? He always orders the same carne asada nachos when he watches football on Sunday, so I told him I'd put them in a blender for him. Oh, gross. He didn't find that funny when I said that. Horrific. You are the worst. Horrific. Yeah. Plus all the little nacho grains getting stuck in there. I hope it's okay. We should call. No, we shouldn't. No, opposites. Let's see. P1 Spaz, are you there? Yeah, hi. What do you got going on?
It's huge, okay? So I need advice and I need help because I don't know what to do. Oh, I like it already. Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me. I had a baby and she's five months old. And her father has no idea that, you know, that it's a girl, that it's here. He knows I was pregnant, but he has no idea that she's here. She's now five months. I go to school full-time, and I take care of her on my own, and I was thinking about going to his family this weekend, but I don't know what to do. What would you do if you went to his family? What would you do? She's beautiful. I mean, they're missing out. What would I do? It's his right, but it's her right. I'm doing it more for her. I have so many questions. I have so many questions to weed through. I have many questions to weed through. Okay. Has he reached out up until now? No. Has his family reached out up until now? No. Does the family know? Yes. So you know that he told the family? Well, I mean, I brought him the paper showing I was pregnant, and then we were together for over two years. But are you guaranteed the family knows? Like, do the grandparents know they have a grandbaby? Yeah, and I went to his mom.
father and gave him my new cell because I changed my number. It was kind of aggro. He wanted me to get an abortion and I was undecisive and I said, you know what, I can't do that. I'm older now. I need to be able to take care of her and I need to do this. And I'm so grateful because she's beautiful. And so he hasn't reached out to you. Nope. And his family hasn't reached out to you. Nope. And you were saying, you know, she's so beautiful, they're missing out. It doesn't sound like they care that they're missing out. I know. I know. I just feel bad for her because she's beautiful. And I love her so much. And I just, they're creeps, you know. I feel, it sucks. Yeah. And I'm so sorry that you're going through that. That sounds so terrible. I listen to you guys every day. And I was going to call. But I've been so, you know, because I don't know what to do. And it sucks. But your daughter is so lucky to have you. Your daughter is so lucky to have you. So you should. Give yourself a pat on the back. Yeah, and you know what? I would say, if I were giving you advice, I would say, don't subject yourself to more pain. Because, you know, what would really be terrible is if you, you know, they've showed you that they... We were together two and a half years. No, I hear you. I would, but here's the thing. Like, if you go over there and they show you more of what they've been showing you, which is just, they don't...
They're not interested. They're not interested. If you go over there and they show you more of that, now you're just more upset and you're showing that baby more upset. And it's just, it's creating a situation that's unnecessary. Yeah. If he comes around a year from now, I'm just supposed to go, oh, here you go. You know, that's the kind of stuff that happens with courts and stuff. Well, that's on him. I mean, that's on him. I mean, it's. You know, it's not your responsibility to force, you know, your baby, your guys' baby upon him. If he doesn't want anything to do with it, that's his bad. Now, he does have a financial responsibility. I haven't gone after him, and I don't want it because I don't want, I don't, you know. What about the baby, though? Do you guys need it? Do you need it? No, I mean, I go to school full time. I graduate in July, and I'm going to, it's a very good career I have set up. Do you have enough money right now to support the baby? I have family, and I have family. I have family that are helping me out right now. I'm big on accountability, so I want the dad to be paying for his kid, you know? But that's your call, obviously. Well, what do you guys think about this? What do you think if she sends the family, you know, the grandparents, the father, all of them, a card with some pictures saying your daughter is here, here she is.
Here's my number again. Contact me anytime if you want to see her, and I will send you yearly updates and make photocopies of it and keep records of it. So she's making the attempt once a year. She's reaching out. So if they ever come back and say, hey, she kept her from us, no, every year I get tempted. You're absolutely entitled to that. Now, we chose, I'm going to tell you right now, we were in this situation, my wife and I, and we chose something different. What do you mean? Her dad didn't show any interest in having a grandson. Right. And we are not going to force... I love my kid too much than to force him down anybody's throat. Right. And if they want to have something to do with my kid as their grandson, absolutely. I mean, if you call, you're interested. If you're interested along the way, absolutely. But my son and your daughter... His mom was so in love with his other kids. And then when this happened, it's like I assumed she would have called or checked on me or something. Yeah, I would too. I would too. But let me tell you something. The silence is deafening. The silence is deafening. And, you know, my son is almost two and a half years old. And, you know, we're not keeping anybody.
any family from having a relationship with my son. That's what I'm working on. I'm working on my trying to be, because if it ever gets to that, I have to be the better person and the better parent for her to allow. Well, if you want what's best for your kid, then maybe it's not having a relationship with these people. That is 100% true, because it could cause you pain. It could cause you more pain. I'll tell you what will hurt so bad is sending that out. And not getting any response. Right. That will hurt so bad. You know. And there's a possibility in that happening. And they've already shown you what they think. Yeah. And so, you know, it is what it is. It is what it is. But your kid is too gorgeous and too beautiful. And I've never even seen her. And I know that. She is insane. I bet. The Gerber baby. I bet. A mini spaz. A little mini spaz. That's right. Listen, I listen to you guys before I go to school every day. And you guys, I just want to tell you, you guys give me just, man, you make me feel so good every morning. And I'm glad I called because I feel a lot better. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Good luck, Spaz. I got to go to school. All right. All right. We'll see you later. Put her on hold. Put her on hold. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Don't go away, Spaz. Okay. Spaz, don't go away. Don't go away. Nice.
That was a close one. Rob's yelling at you. P1, I can't feel my face. Are you there? Yeah, I'm here. How you doing? Not too good, guys. What's up? What now? I don't know if you remember. I called Dan a couple of weeks, a couple of weeks, a couple of months ago. And I told you that my 40-year-old wife was pregnant. I was going to tell my family. That's right. Yeah. And now you were a Mexican guy. He's 19. Yeah, you're 19, right? Yeah, I'm 20 now, actually. Okay, now you're 20. She's 40. She's pregnant. And you told your Hispanic mom and dad, and they were upset, right? Yeah. At first, I didn't like that. I told them, and then I told the family that we still talk to, and pretty much everyone. Okay. And then this weekend, I got to call everybody and tell them that my wife lost a baby. Oh, no. Dude. I'm so sorry. Oh, that is tough. How far along? I was just three months in. Oh, dude. It's devastating. That's terrible, man. Yeah. Well, oh, man, that is too bad. And you're going to call them this weekend? Yeah, I'm going to be calling them. My mom and dad were starting to warm up to the idea because they wanted to have another baby. Yeah. They wanted to have another baby in the family.
Because pretty much everyone in the family is growing up. I am so sorry to hear that, man. Yeah, no, thanks. I'm sorry. Sorry. Well, you know, I'll be praying for you, dude. Thanks, man. You know, we're going to try again, but this time I think we're going to be using the pills to help you get pregnant. I think we're going to be using those because last time we just didn't use any help. But, yeah, I guess we're just going to try again. Hopefully we won't lose it this time. Yeah. Well, hey, dude, you're in our thoughts and prayers. Definitely. And, you know, we hope that everything gets better for you, okay? Yeah, sure. Thanks. All right, brother. All right, dude. We got P1 Looney Schnitzer. What's up? It's Looney Shivers. That's way better. Looney Shivers. Makes more sense. Yes. Go ahead, Looney Shivers.
I'm lining up to Palmdale to ask my dad and my stepmom to pay for some of my weddings. Really? Yeah. My fiance and I, we're going to pay for all of it. But with the economy, the way it turned, we're like, no, we're going to need help. We don't want to put that much money into it. So we're going to ask them to pay. But my step-sister is getting married in this April, and they're also paying for her wedding. Now, when do you want to get married? Like September. Who do they love more? No. Actually. Legitimate question. What? Legitimate question. Well, let me ask you this, Looney Shivers. You know your parents pretty good. How do you think they're going to react? Mom, she's kind of tight with her money, so I think she'll give me a little bit, not as much as I would like. And I'm also asking my mom and my stepdad, but I'm not necessarily worried about asking them. I think they'll be a little bit more helpful than my dad and my stepmom. Okay. And they haven't offered? A little bit, but not a lot. They said, you know, we'll help out whenever we can, but we're paying for Sarah's wedding, so, you know, we're...
We're a little tight on money. That's messed up. Ashley has a question. How much money are we talking here, if you don't mind me asking? Like, is this a big chunk of money you're going to ask to borrow from your parents? Yeah, and are you asking for a specific amount? Exactly, for the wedding. My fiance wants me to ask for a specific amount, but my sister-in-law says, why don't you allocate what they're paying for, like for the DJ, the floors, and so on. So pick things you want them to pay for. Yeah. That makes sense. We would like for them to pay for like certain parts, and we're kind of estimating $5,000, but we're not sure because we've never done this before. Right. Right. Well, let me tell you, and we can all tell you from experience that it gets pricey. Oh, man. It gets pricey. I've already seen that. Yeah. So, all right. Hang on the line. We're going to get your number and check back in with you Monday and see how it went. Will you hold on? Yeah, I will. Hold on just a second. And this one is kind of like... The very first call we took, I think. Wow. P1, Erica, you there? Yes, I am. Okay. Now, does the father of your baby know about this baby? Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay, so what is your dilemma? What do you have? What is the story? Well, tonight is my dad's birthday, and I haven't spoken to him in three years. And we've had some issues. He knows about my daughter, but he's never met her. She's 14 months old.
And tonight's his 60th birthday, and my uncle's throwing him a surprise party, and he knows that his brother has never met his granddaughter. And he invited us, and so I guess we're just going to surprise him. So you and your dad, you had a falling out? Yeah. How long ago? Three years ago. And you haven't spoken since? Nope. I wonder how that will go. So this guy's going to see his grandson or daughter? Daughter. Granddaughter for the first time. Wow. I didn't even talk to his own daughter in years. Does he have any other grandchildren? No. Oh, wow. Whoa, that could be any range of emotions. Right? Dude, I got to find out how he reacts with this baby. I got to find out. And it's a surprise? Yeah. Oh, my God. How's the ticker? Hang on the line, okay? Okay. I hope that that can reconcile them. That maybe that will be a conduit to them, like, working it out. You know what I mean? And let's see. P1 Steven. Last one. Steven, you there? Yeah. What do you got going on this weekend? My wife and I have been married for about two years now. I was flying out to Charlotte, North Carolina after me to meet her parents for the first time and tell them that she's pregnant. Now, they've never, her parents never met you? Not at all. They've never met you. They know about you. They know about me, but they've never met me. How come they've never met you?
We're both active duty military and on the different side of the country. So when you got married, was there no ceremony? It was a quick little courthouse one. Gotcha. And so not only are they going to meet you for the first time, they're also going to find out that they're going to have a grand baby. Oh, wow. You nervous? Yeah, I was born and raised in California, and I got to go down deep south with a redneck dad. Wow. I was born and raised nervous, which is weird. I was, though. That's the absolute truth. I was born and raised. And he says that he's a redneck, and they get to find out. There you go. Hang on the line, will you? Lots of babies. We got a good bet today. There's a lot of baby drama going on, and we're going to find out all about it on Monday. We'll have them back on, all of them, to find out how it went. Let's see. Rob, I've asked Rob to put up a bunch of Bruce Springsteen songs for me. No, we're good. Everything's up there. Everything's up there. Go play your pink Cadillac. It's right at the top. Is this Springsteen? Yep. What are you talking about? There you go. Is that Springsteen?
Dude, everything in front of me is Bruce Springsteen. Is it really? I swear to you. Come in my studio. 10th Avenue, Freeze Out, Pink Cadillac. Born to run. I'm hired. Glory days. Born in the USA. What is going on? I don't know. I'm not seeing that on my screen. Are you for real? I swear. I'm telling you this is the Smashing Pumpkins, right? Yes. Hey, you got a question for the Oracle? I will be meeting with the folks at AIS tonight, and part of the reason is to say thank you to them. I cannot tell you how much it means to me personally.
When a company that is endorsed by The Mikey Show brings it, and that's AIS. They just flat out, they bring it. And I'm not just saying it. Call them up. 1-800-777-4AIS. Call them up and just get a quote. This is how easy it was for me. I spent about, and I'm going to give you real time, about seven minutes I spent on the phone. They found out what I had before. I told them what I was paying in terms of my auto insurance. And in about seven minutes, they said, we can save you $1,600 a year. And when I got that insurance, it was better than what I had before. And I had been through a claim with the old company and been through a claim with the company that AIS set me up with. And the experience was better. And I was like, so what do I have to do now? I asked them on the phone when they gave me the quote. I'm like, okay, yeah, I'll do that. I said, what do I have to do now? Do I have to call and cancel and all that? And they were like, no, we take care of all that for you. So all of a sudden the bill just started coming from the new company and it was $1,600 a year less, which was outrageous to me. Like I was like, why doesn't everybody do this? And everybody should be there, especially now, man, when times are tight.
You know, when you don't want to be spending that extra money, whatever you're paying for your auto insurance right now, you don't have to be paying that much. One of the only times I was ever in shape in my life was when I was a freshman in high school, you know? Eddie. I love whoops. Sky. I don't know. What would you do for your Red Sox? I would do anything. And Ashley. I didn't even go to San Diego State. I did. I practically graduated. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. It's a blaze with goodness. Oh. How do you like that? I love it. Dude. Both places, he wants. Dude. It's awesome. It's awesome.
So awesome. Two different restaurants cater this morning for our listeners that came into the studio this morning. We have California Comfort Restaurant Sports Bar, who, by the way, they're located in Spring Valley, and they have an item on the menu for P1s. It's on their menu. It's called the P1 Papa Burger. No way. Yeah. And it's a half-pound handmade burger topped with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese. It's on their menu, the P1 Papa Burger. I'll take one. Dude, it's so good. This is cool because our old friend Lou Bush actually helped them when they first opened kind of set up their menu and stuff and really give them some of his barbecues.
tips and secrets. Those ribs smell delish. Delicious. California Comfort Restaurant and Sports Bar. Anything with the word comfort in it, I'm all in. Where'd you say? Spring Valley? In Spring Valley. It's on Troy Street in Spring Valley. Cool. And they got a, if you want to visit their website, californiacomfortsd.com. Nice. californiacomfortsd.com. And then thank you to Mondo's, who I found through. I love them. Eddie, is Mondo's a place you had gone into, their place? Yeah, Mondo's is a really cool place. You know where the big Costco shopping and Ikea center is over there on Friars Road? They're located in that center. And one of the guys that works there, huge P1, and wanted to bring us burritos and stuff like that. And we did when we were out there doing the paintball thing. And holy cow, they are so good. Yeah, they also have one up by us, Mike. Yeah, it says they got a place in San Marcos. Yeah, in the Patton Oscar shopping center with the Bed Bath Beyond off of Las Posis. Dude. Yeah, I went to Sammy's Woodfire, remember? You know, Sean got fired, he was really sad, and I got really drunk. And I was in the parking lot. White wine. I was in the parking lot. Mondos! Mondos! Mondos! Dude, Mondos.
Mondo's is so rad. It's one of those places that you have their burrito or you have some of their food and you go, you say to yourself, oh, this is my place. Fresh. Highly recommend the sausage. Their sausage is like... Dude, you could not have hit the nail on the head more. That sausage is rad. And it's super healthy. Like Drew just told me he brought in special whole wheat. Tortillas for me. Whole wheat. How about that? Yeah. Mondo's Baja Mexican. I didn't even know they did that, that they did the whole wheat. Whole wheat. Whole wheat. Yippee. Didn't know they did. Okay. You didn't need to do that. I'm Chris trying to help. You're dead. You're dead. I apologize. I need, yeah, I need some throat coat. I'm almost done, you guys. I'm almost done with it. But you said at 6 a.m. that you were done. I am done with it. That's what I meant to say. Did I say I'm almost done? Because I meant to say I'm done. You're done. I'm done. So anyway, welcome back. Oh, what if we were to do this? From football to baseball and everything in between, it's time to talk to the man who knows all. It's time to ask the Oracle.
Well, Eddie is the sports oracle. So when it comes to sports and things of sports, the man knows what we do not. You can call him at 570-1053. You can ask him questions. You have questions about sports, specifically and hopefully stuff about the Super Bowl, but it could be about anything. It could be about UFC. It could be about any sport that you're into. He is our all things sports guy. And you can text us at 35253 if you want to. P1 Bass Assassin, you there? Hey, what's up, Mikey? Not too much, dude. You got a question for the Oracle? Yeah, I do. Super Bowl related. All right. I was just wondering if he could talk a little bit about the Pittsburgh's defense and if he thinks that their defense is just going to completely wear down the Cardinals. 100%. 100%. I think that... Don't listen, Ashley. You shouldn't listen. It's hard for me. The Steelers, you know, they do that zone blitzing. They are all over the place. Troy Polamalo is sick. I just think they're going to bring the house and Kurt Warner, getting Kurt Warner's face all day long. He's not a mobile quarterback. So, you know, James Harrison, Lamar Woodley, those guys are going to be in his face all day long. And they're not going to be able to run against the Steelers. So I just, I don't see any possible way of them.
you know, getting points. Fortunately, they don't know the majesty that is... Larry Fitzgerald. Well, I think they actually do know Larry Fitzgerald. They've never heard of him. I think they're going to keep playing for him. Oh, whatever. Bring it. Oh, then they got the very well-rested Edger and James. Thank you very much. Fresh. He's real fresh. He may have negative yards. Stop it. Oh, no. He may have negative yards. How dare you? I'm sorry. Gosh. All right. Well, there you go, P1 Bass Assassin. All right, love yourself. I hope you're proud of yourself. P1 Joey, are you there? I mean, I want to know if Eddie can tell me who's going to win the coin toss. Eddie, who will win? Oh, what a question. Eddie, who will win the coin toss? Will it be Arizona or will it be the Pittsburgh Steelers? Well, I don't know, in fact, Mike, that, you know, when the Pittsburgh Steelers...
call the coin toss, and Ben Roethlisberger is one of their captains, 64% of the time he calls tails. I see. And so if it is a tails, then obviously Pittsburgh has the better chance of winning the coin toss. Okay, so 100% of the time. That's a fake stat. Okay, so Eddie says the Steelers are going to win. And defer. They'll defer. Did you hear what this guy said? He's betting his whole paycheck on what you're saying right now. 64% says Ben Roethlisberger will call tails and they will win the coin toss. But they'll defer it. But they'll defer. So they will win. Pittsburgh wins the coin toss, but then they give it to Arizona. They'll say, Arizona, you start. Now you go. And then they'll get crushed. Why will they defer? Because they want to start on defense. They want to start on defense. I like it. And then get the ball at halftime. I like it. No. There you go. No. Thank you, Joey. 64% of the time, they'll call tails. Stop it. Fake stat. I say Cardinals win this game. Yes, they will, Mike. Continue on. How? Fitzgerald will get how many catches? 21 to 7. Okay. Fitzgerald will get 3. And the way they win, they're going to put 21 points up on this defense. What's he saying? And they're going to do it. I'll tell you how they're going to do it. They're going to do it with the majesty that is Larry Fitzgerald. Yeah. Duh. They're going to do it with Anquan Bolden.
Their, you know, their hidden secret. Ah, that's cute. And they're going to do it through the ground and pound of Edgerin James. Do you notice how you kind of smile when you say that? That's weird. Why is he smiling? Because it's funny. I'm smiling because I'm cute. Good for you. P1 Rude Dog. Hey, what's up, Mikey Show? Not too much, dude. What's your question for the Oracle? Two quick things. I just want to say go Cardinals and go GSP. I like your first part. I don't understand your second part. George St. Pierre. It's that little thing that helps you find your way. Isn't that what it is? George St. Pierre. He's a UFC fighter. Eddie, what do you make of this? He hasn't asked me a question. Now you go. My question for Eddie is, hey, what do you think about the upcoming fight between Rampage and the Dean of Mean in March? Keith Jardine is a troll that lives underneath a bridge, and they bring him out every three months to fight. You should date Fergie. I think they share an apartment underneath a bridge. A cardboard box, really. I think that it kind of sucks that Rampage didn't get a title shot.
against Rashad Evans because he deserves it. And I think that he's going to smash Keith Jardim. I absolutely hope so. And hopefully he gets a shot with Rashad after that. Yeah, he should. Which would be a great fight. Yeah, dude. Hey, we got another UFC question. Thank you for the call. P1 Nick. Hey, how's it going, Mikey? It's P1 Nick. Good, dude. What's your question for the Oracle? Hey, Oracle. First, I'd like to say good job for Rob, man. You brought me in pretty good. He kept making sure I was still here. Told me not to cause. Aw. Nice. Thanks. I still got it, huh? Yeah, that's right. You need to give that guy a raise. All right. Oh, I like you. He told you to say that. Are you hiring? Or George St. Pierre. You know, I've really, really had a hard time with this fight just because, you know, it's hard for me to pick against BJ Penn because he's so good. But BJ Penn is a dominant fighter at 155 pounds. He will beat anybody in the world. But he's fighting George St. Pierre at 170 pounds, which is George's weight. And George is going to come in as the bigger fighter and the more in-shape fighter, as we've been watching on this Spike TV reality thing. You know, GSP, if this thing goes the distance, GSP is more in shape to go five rounds than BJ Penn is, I believe. I think George St. Pierre is going to win this fight. The hard part is figuring out how.
He's going to beat BJ Penn because he won't submit BJ Penn. I've never seen BJ Penn knocked out. I've seen him ground and pounded and lose. So if I were saying, you know, how is GSP going to win? He's probably going to keep him on the ground and ground and pound him and probably get the win. Ashley, you have a question? Well, I was going to say because you were saying that BJ, like in that show you were watching, like he was slacking. Dana White got pissed and that's why you said BJ might not win. But then you said BJ was reacted to that. He was mad and he said he was going to train harder than ever. Do you think that BJ has trained hard or do you think BJ slacked? Because that makes all the difference. I think BJ Penn is so naturally gifted. You know, he can train at half speed and still beat, you know, 90% of the people that they put him in there. The thing about GSP, though, is he's a freak. Flawless. He's a freak. And so, you know, I think BJ needed to train twice as hard. And he didn't. And he didn't. And so I think GSP is going to win this fight. When is it? Saturday night. Saturday night, baby. Really? Yeah. Huge. There it is. Huge. Thank you for the call. Let's see. Let's do another one. This is P1 Whooby has a question for the Oracle. Go ahead, Whooby. I love Whooby. Don't take my Whooby. I love you, too. Oh, wow. Hi. With the fantastic Steeler going to the Super Bowl. Okay. Maybe I don't love you.
Ashley, I love you, dear, but I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, so I believe black and gold. I do. With the Steelers going to the Super Bowl and the tremendous history that the Rooney family has with this team, it kind of raises the question of, will the NFL ever step in to help the Oakland Raiders remove that cancer of an owner that they have? I mean, will they ever, can we assert some kind of conservatorship? with so much mismanagement and mishandling of that team because otherwise they're just going to be run out of existence and that doesn't seem quite fair. Is that possible? No, I don't think so. You know, I mean, it's kind of like if you buy a 7-Eleven and you decide, you know what, I don't really feel like I'm going to sell Slurpees at my 7-Eleven and I'm not going to, you know. I'm not going to keep it open 24 hours a day and I'm going to kind of run it into the ground. Well, that's your own fault. And if you're going to keep doing that, then it's not my money. And you can do that? I would assume so. I mean, the bottom line is Al Davis would probably have arguments to...
combat everything that you say to him. You say, oh, you're crazy with hiring and firing coaches. He can go, well, these are guys that I thought were going to be good. These are guys that I believed in. Everybody else can hire and fire. Why can't I? I'm sure he would have arguments for everything that you would say against him. Isn't there a set of bylaws that the owners have to adhere to for the NFL? Yeah, they probably are, and he's probably following them. You know, what could you say? That jumpsuit, that tracksuit, you're telling me is within? It's nifty. That's a good point. I didn't even take the nifty part into account. It is nifty. That's the thing. You can't argue that. You can't argue that. It's pretty nifty. If you could walk around all day in a jumpsuit, I mean, I would. I mean, I wouldn't. I do. I would. Sky actually does. Is there any bylaws against Sky? No, there's not. We can't remove her. I would like to. Yeah. Hey. All right. But, you know. A jumpsuit. Oh, wow. I will not fist bump. Eddie wants a fist bump for that, Sky. Thank you, Woobie. You're weird. AJ, what's your question for the Oracle?
I want to know if he thinks Ryan Howard is worth $18 million. Great director. Ryan Howard? Yeah. That's Ron Howard. He did the movie about going to the moon and back. That's Ron Howard. Of course, he was meathead on Happy Days. And there you go. I think Ryan Howard is worth more than $18 million a year. 18.5. Yes. Yeah, I mean, he's, you know, clearly, if not the best, one of the best players in Major League Baseball. And so he should be one of the highest paid players. All right. One more quick question. What kind of sunscreen should I wear at the game? That's not my expertise. Sky has a song about it, though. Oh, no. We already played it once. Sky has a song all about it. Come on. Roll up on me one time. Give me some treble. Yeah. Yeah. I'm feeling it. I'm going to teach all you kids a lesson that don't know about the danger of a sunburn. It can really hurt you if you're not careful. You guys, Sky really gets into this. Oh, yeah. Dancing right now. The sun was blazing. Okay. So hot, I said, ow. Yeah. Burning. Yeah. Burn. Oh, wow.
Look at her dance. She's doing the Pulp Fiction thing. Sing it with me. Now, let's do this. Pee-wee spray. Lotion. Tip your waitresses and rub on that SPF 45. Make it 455. Holy Toledo, is it hot in here. That song is all American. That's crazy. That goes great with an all American lunch. It does. Oh, my God. Ladies and gentlemen, there is a People Magazine story out there about secrets of the White House. You're going to like this, Mike. You like this kind of stuff. I love this kind of stuff. you by sleep train mattress centers hey guys cal walker in for a wreck this morning and we've been taking full advantage of a pretty quiet friday morning a couple of exceptions there's a crash downtown reported at hawthorne north five that's the airport exit and so there's going to be a little tight traffic heading out that way five through downtown san diego national city five and the 805 have both been good even up into the triangle typically very busy by this time of the morning Isn't too bad on the Yido 5. Minimal delays there past the 52. There's a wreck out in our east county towards Steel Canyon High that's pretty significant. Highway 94 just west of the high school. So in from Homol toward Rancho San Diego. Things are a little tight there. Up north, the 15 still busy through Escondido, but it's clearing rapidly. The 5 as well. NCD that's down in through Solana Beach. Now I have seen a little westbound 56 traffic out past Carmel Valley there as you head to the 5 on that 56 corridor. Otherwise, they're pretty darn good out here. Cal Walker. on Rock 105.3. Hi, we're the Miller family. I'm Jenny, and this is my husband, Paul. We all talk a lot. But our chatterbox daughter. I have to check my email constantly. Eddie. I am maybe the world's worst handyman. Sky. If an SUV is cheaper, I'm still going to go for a hybrid. Boston Rob. I love the Republicans. I love the Democrats. You're obviously sexist and horrible. And Ashley. I mean, literally, like, my brain is blank. Mickey Show's on Rock 105.3. You burn yourself with a curling iron? What kind of question's that? I'm asking if you burn yourself on mistake with a curling iron.
What are you talking about? Have you been in a wrestling match with a vampire? Have you? That's all we're asking. I noticed that it looked like you had a little burn, you know? Like, there was a burn on it. I was like, whoa, what happened to this poor guy? Maybe some broken blood vessels. I had an ingrown hair, and I ripped it out with tweezers. Yeah, not only that, but I got into a fight, and it was with this little midget, and he kicked me right here. A kiss fight. I had to fight with Sarissa's mouth. Whoa. Let me ask you a question. And this is directed at all of you. Every single one of you listening. Yes. What do you think the biggest secret of the White House is? Oh. Biggest? Like, if you had to, like, what area? They steal cable. See? That's a good one. No, I don't think that's what this list is referring to. That's a good one. What if? That would be great. What if they were stealing cable this whole time? What if Bush knew a guy that did black boxes and he had him come in and do it? Wouldn't surprise me. I don't believe it. Sky, what do you got? She has real secrets. Yeah. Well, People Magazine, you know, they use the term secret. Well, have you been watching, do you watch those national treasure movies? Yeah. You know, they got... Oh, the tunnels? Yeah, tunnels. Yeah, those secret tunnels. The desk has got, like, secret compartments and stuff like that. Yeah, but nobody knows about that. Let me tell you, I don't know if I am in a particular category of nerdery. Yes. But, man, is that cool to me.
Secret underground tunnels around the White House to me is maybe the coolest thing ever. Yeah. That would be awesome. In case of emergency, you got to get them in and out of there real. Real quiet like. It sounds fantastic. You end up in the woods by a river somewhere. That's right. That's right. With Nick Cage. Maybe you do. Who knows? We don't even know. I saw the documentary, bro. Hello. It was a movie. National Treasure. Book of Secrets. That's a doc, dude. That's a doc. Yeah, watched it. It's a documentary. Bruce Greenwood is the president? Yeah. Eddie, you're showing off. Okay, we get it. You remember his name. Well, of course he remembers his name. He's the president, Mike. Oh, that's not hard to remember. So anyways, People Magazine, some of the things they say, and, you know, they use the word secret, but I think these are just cool little facts that we wouldn't know. The Obama family has to pay for their own food. What do you mean? So unless it's like one of those big state-funded dinners, you know, one of those big balls, anything outside of... Rob heard the word balls. I mean, dude, you're not 10.
Crying out loud. I'm sorry. My gosh. Continue on with your important journalism. Shut up. So any meals that the Obama family eats? Like weenies. Wait a minute. And are we to understand that what we're hearing right now... I mean, we're adults. We are. And it's best. Continue on, Ms. Anderson Cooper. I spent a month in the trenches researching. All right. That is true. So anything they eat comes out of his salary. I want the shark sandwich. I got to pay for the shark? Yes. All the groceries they go and buy, they like keep a tally and they take it out of his $400,000 a year annual salary. Order a pizza comes out of there. Come on. Yeah. How can that not be a perk of the job? That is awful. I don't want to do it. I don't like it. I don't like it. I want our president to eat for free. Same with all their laundry. If you send something out for dry cleaning, they're going to deduct that from his salary. I don't want that. I mean, as an American citizen, I'm telling you, I want my president to have these things. There's not a White House washroom? Yeah. Yeah, can you do your own laundry?
They probably could. I'm sure they have a washer and dryer. What if Michelle Obama wanted to wash the kids' stuff in a very specific way? I'm sure she could, but anything that costs money, like if you send it out for dry cleaning, they're going to deduct that from his salary. Brutal. Dumb. Yeah, I want Obama to be able to have that. And you'd think the dry cleaning would, like, hook it up. It's the freaking president. Talk about an endorsement. Can't they be like, hey, you know what? Obama's doing an endorsement for dry cleaning. Yeah, he's like, hi, I'm President Obama. Chins, really. Chins dry cleaning. Chins, by the way. So, my chopstick joke was over the line, but you're going to bust out with chins. Look at any laundromat, bro. I'm not. Is this a scientific thing? Is that what we're saying with the both of you? 98% of Wondermats are owned by agents. Have you ever been to Escondido, bro? No, that stat does not hold true in Escondido. Mexicans, Eddie. Inesco. I wouldn't want my stuff done. But you're Mexican. Dude, let me tell you something. You are weird. Let me tell you something.
If you go to a taco shop, okay? If you go to a taco shop, some German guy with blue eyes is the one making your fried beans. How comfortable do you feel with that bean burrito? I feel awful. But that's Mexican food. That's right, Skye. Finally she gets it. Dry cleaning did not come from China. How many times? They invented it. Chinese invented dry cleaning. I don't believe you. Thank you. Clean-a-pity-a. What? Is that an STD? What do you have? Penicillin. Penicillin. I'm clean. Thank you. Okay. Well, another thing that they say in the article about the White House, that there actually are locks and keys for the doors on the White House, but Obama won't carry the key. The Secret Service carries the key and actually unlocks the door for him. Inside? For like rooms? Like the front door. Come on. The front door to the White House has a lock on it? I believe that. For what? What do we think? Him and Michelle go out to dinner and they lock the house. You lock up? No, did you? Oh no, let's go back. Everything's cleaned out. I'm fascinated by that White House. They were showing a long shot of the White House the day that he was inaugurated.
a block or two long, you know, I'm sitting there looking at it. And I, and I asked my wife because my wife and my mother-in-law took a tour of it. And by the way, the day they took, I don't know if I ever told you guys this story. The day they took a tour of it, this is when George Bush senior was in office. He did a random hello to the people touring. Wow. So she's walking out of one of these rooms and the secret service put a, like a rope up and like cut her off. And all this hustle, all this bustle, and in walks George Sr. and says hi to the people on the tour. But I'm fascinated to know how that White House works. Oh, yeah. Because from the outside, it looks like a very old home. But on the inside, you know it's high tech. I have a stupid question. No. No such thing. Does the vice president stay in the White House? No. That's a good question. They have separate quarters? Yeah, they have the vice presidential quarters. Mansion. Uh-huh. That's what it's called. Right? I think they call it the vice presidential mansion. I think they do. I'm a journalist. I know these things. And it's like what? Behind the White House? You learn that in journalism school. Ashley, I think it's like next to the pool. Have you ever seen Fresh Prince? It's a legitimate question. Of course I've seen Fresh Prince, Rob. That's what she was offended at. Like over here.
She was offended that he asked her, have you ever seen Fresh Prince? I'm a jerk. And after the show today, she'll be like, what was up with the Fresh Prince? Did you not meet me? Did you just meet yesterday? What do you think? I don't know that. Would I look like a moron to you? What's the matter with you? Yeah. I think that that is a fascinating deal. I want to know more and more about it. Any bits and pieces I can get on that White House, I am always excited. Hey, this is the president. Obama. Wow. Wait a second. I love you. This is good. Barack Obama on the phone. Crazy. We were just talking about the secrets of the White House. I can help you out with that. Oh, good. Wow. Because one thing that I was shocked to find in the White House and that the American public might be amazed to know. What's that? Is that the White House food court, they have a Sonic. Really? What? Food court? There's a food court?
In the what? I don't think that's true. Right next to the Lincoln Room. There's a food court. Do they have a Sonic? And a great con. Oh, good. Oh, wow. I do love choosing my own stuff, too. It's Mongolian style. Oh, really? I love that, Brock. And, you know, the Sonic, I'd seen the commercials, just like the rest of you. They're hilarious, aren't they? But they are hysterical, but I've never actually seen a Sonic in real life. Wow. Thank you. And I was starting to think that they were imaginary. Well, they're not. You just are like me. You know, one of the things I was pleased to see was that the bathroom where Michelle and I share, it has a TV that actually gets BET. Wow, you've got cable in there. That's right. Michelle and I took a bubble bath last night and watched a special on the making of She's So Raven. Is that right? I mean, why would you? That's weird. Here's something that you may not have known about the White House. Arsenio Hall lives here. No, he doesn't. That is ridiculous. I actually didn't know that. Are you for real? Yes, I am, Eddie. Okay. What does he do there?
I think he does what he does normally. He does whoop, whoop, whoop. I hadn't seen the guy in a while. But he lives in a little cabinet under the staircase just like Harry Potter. That's stupid. I don't think Arsenio Hall lives in a cabinet underneath the stairs. You thought wrong. He does and the girls think he's adorable. That's nice. You know, Eddie, there's a lot of things about the White House that nobody knows. Okay. For instance, it's a very creaky house. Is that right? I think so, yeah. You know, sometimes when you're walking up the stairs, you'll hear the faintest fart with each step. Okay, well, that's not... Well, it's a creak, not a fart. I mean, unless you're farting. Are you really farting, Barack, and blaming it on the house? No, no. Maybe every once in a while I do. Okay. It's a little bit distracting when you hear it, though. Doesn't smell, though, Eddie. Oh, you're really... Nope. Why not? Because I'm like Sky. I can leave the door open. Oh. I don't believe that. We're friends. Don't do this to me. I don't believe that. No, it's a very old house, Sky. You understand. What? I do the cheese cutting, though, Eddie. What? I do the cheese cutting around my house. You do? That's right, just in case you were wondering. It can be a little bit gassy, particularly after eating a food item such as a bean burrito, which I do do because I'm just like everyone else. Yes. All right.
I genuinely am like you. I have a bean burrito from time to time. Is he talking about farts? No. My bowels do produce gas, too. We understand that. I'm just a regular person just like you and Skye. We all fart, you know? Why are we talking about that? I'm trying to illustrate how I'm just like everybody else. We get it. I think we get it. I was farting with Oprah last week. Okay. I said, I don't want it all. And I was saying, you know, look at us, Oprah. You know, two multimillionaires just sitting here farting. Just like everybody else. That's what I'd do. We can both just sit there and do that. That is odd. All right, we get it. Did you know that the, here's the secret about the White House. Did you all know? What? That the White House living room is an exact replica of the living room on The Cosby Show. It is not. That is not true. That is a true story. We had a little bit of, I haven't told the press this yet, but we had a little bit of trouble moving into the White House. One of the White House bathrooms has a bidet in it.
Oh, wow. That's crazy. We had to explain to the girls that's not a drinking fountain. Well, yeah. You don't see those a lot here in America. They're fancy. That's right. You know, everybody's been talking about me putting in that basketball court here in the White House. Yeah, what's up with that? Well, it's true. We are going to do that. But what people don't talk about is the room that I had dedicated to Parliament Funkadelic. Really? What? You did that? A whole room? I have the black eyed peas coming on the weekends just like you all do. No, we don't. I've never met you. I've never had that done. I'm just like everybody else. They come in here and they funkadelic and they do the black eyed peas stuff and they do that every time. What the heck are you talking about? I'm talking about just being normal. No, it's not normal. Every once in a while you can watch me and Michelle. We go out there, we get on the dance floor and we get our funk on. Really? We're just like everybody else. No. Everyone talks about how the White House is so fancy and all this, and I'm here to tell you the White House is no different than all of your homes. I doubt that. Seriously. I think most people have something similar to it. Six stories, 55,000 square feet, 135 rooms, 35 bathrooms. I can relate. Right, Skye? Yeah, Skye gets it. Skye can relate. Now you're coming out to me. Secret Service coming, and I got to fart just like everybody else. I got to get off the phone and fart just like everybody else. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. Hang on a second.
Hang on. What? Did y'all hear that? I'm just like you. I'm just like everybody else. That was disgusting. That was weird. So gross, right? Mike, you just missed the weirdest call. Oh, I was out getting food from a couple people. You know what I mean? Wow, that was odd. You'll have to listen to that. I'll have to listen on the podcast since we podcast the entire show at MikeyShow.com. Yeah, you should listen to that. Podcast it. It was odd. Do you guys see how humiliating Ashley was to me yesterday in the Ashley after show? Her and Shawna, double-teaming. Yeah, they double-teamed me, man. That is not true. It was delightful. Oh, come on. It was very disrespectful. Kung Fu saw it. It was really disrespectful. Kung Fu was a guest in the studio. It was with love. Yeah. Well, I don't know if it's really with love when you say, hey, Mike, is it humiliating to you that I'm taller than you while I do this interview? Well, I actually said, do you feel inferior that your boss is a girl I am taller than you? Well, now she really had to rub it in. By reiterating it. I made it better. Yeah, it was funny. But either way, it was with love.
So, did you guys know that Jeffrey Tambor from the show Arrested Development says that the movie is a go? Please, please let it be. If you don't watch Arrested Development, well, it's not on anymore, but if you've never seen Arrested Development, do yourself a favor, order the DVDs. Absolutely. It's funny. That show is so brilliant. Hysterical. It's the funniest show nobody watched. Yeah. And it didn't have very high ratings because I don't think people got it. You know, it's very eclectic. It's very eclectic. It's very bizarre. It's very weird. And oh, man, did I love it. Yeah. So Jeffrey Tambor played Pop Pop. on Arrested Development. That's fantastic. And he was the grandfather to Michael Cera, who's now, you know, since the show ended, kind of become a pretty big movie star. And so Jeffrey Tambor was doing an interview talking about if Michael Cera is going to be a part of the movie. And he said, if I have to... He played the son George Michael, right? Yes, George Michael was his name. George Michael. So Jeffrey Tambor... Not the singer, you know. Not the singer. If you don't understand that joke, then this...
show it probably isn't for you. Right. So he said, even if he has to call up Michael Cera and say, get on set right now, young man, then he will be there. He said, the movie's going to happen this year. Michael Cera is on board. Trust me, it's going to happen. Did you guys know Katie Couric interviewed Metallica? What? Wait. Katie Couric. And she's having... trouble getting the older audience from CBS? Maybe that's why? I mean, dude. It's a Grammy special. Everyone calm down. It's not like... It's not on CBS Evening News? No. It's going to be on CBS, but it's not part of the Evening News. She's weird. She's also interviewing Timberlake, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, a bunch of people. Here's her with Metallica. Hey, I'm Lars from Metallica. My biggest influence has been deep... I'm not going to hear Katy at all. Oh, you don't hear Katy? What do you hear? Just Lars and Metallica going back and forth saying things about themselves. So what did they do? Cut out her portion? I don't know. It's just her. Or it's just them answering questions. I don't understand. Katie's not sitting there with them? Did you see it? Did you actually see the video? What do you actually see? You just see the two of them going back and forth answering questions. And it was almost like they cut out Katie.
asking the questions and just gave the answers. Or I wonder if they just answered off a sheet and then they're going to cut Katie in. Oh, wow. You know what I mean? She's going to film the questions separately. Why? She's afraid of them. Yeah, they are. Is that what you think it is? Maybe that is it. I don't know. It's weird. That's a bizarre thing. Yeah, it's going to air right four days before the Grammys. Let's hear some more of it. Black Lizzy or Thin Sabbath. I can't decide which. Really, James? My most embarrassing moment on stage was up in Wisconsin somewhere in 1992 on the Black Album Tour. The first song, the drums would rise out of the stage and I would come up there in the long hair and looking good and, you know, like a warrior going into the Coliseum or something coming up out of the stage. Well, except that night in Wisconsin. The drums stayed down in the stage, and I ended up playing the first ten minutes of the show on the drums, basically buried underneath the stage. Still sounded pretty good, but I felt the thought that big. Oh, they don't know about me. Secretly listened to hair metal just to get inspired. What? No. Everyone knows everything about me. You've seen them. Yeah, right, dude. Some kind of monster movie.
Shut up. You're like Brian Adams. I sing lullabies to my children. Yeah, I'd like to punch you in the mouth. Calm down. They don't know I can't sing very good. Oh, you're a female. Hey, guys, I hope you don't mind if I just chime in with this. Where did you come from, Lars? Lars has a direct link to every radio station in America. Oh. Yeah, it's a cool, eh? It's a cool, eh? What? What, Lars? Is it cool if I just interrupt James for just a second? I don't think it's cool, but I think you're going to do it anyway. Thank you, Eddie. I'd rather hear James. I'd rather hear James. Thanks for the air time, dude. Hey, I just wanted to say it was really nice hanging out with Katie Couric. We were just trying to play the interview back, Lars. We didn't see you with Katie. Yeah, we had to edit her out because she got all hopped up on Girl Scout cookies we're snorting right before we started. Wait, you guys were snorting Girl Scout cookies? Yeah, we still are. Oh, that is weird, Lars. How many days have you been up for? Have you ever done it, Skye? Well, of course not, Lars. You've never experienced any kind of high until you've actually done some Thin Mints, man. Really? Thin Mints, by the way.
I would have Katie tell you, but she's passed out right now. Take it easy. Hey, did I mention it's me, Lars? Yes, you did, Lars. Hey, what are you guys doing this weekend? I got you, dude. I'm doing the Super Bowl, too. I'll be there live. You're going to be at the Super Bowl? Yeah, I'm doing a drum solo. I don't think that's the same thing. Yeah, during halftime, dude, I'm doing a drum solo. No, Bruce Breenstein is playing at halftime. No, bro, I'm in section H2 right outside. Okay. In the parking lot? Doing a drum solo. That's weird. LRs, I don't think that that's... Tampa Stadium, big sombrero, ever heard of it? Yes, we have. What are you saying? Hey, speaking of sombreros, I have a wooden sombrero in my back pocket right now. A wooden one. And it's in your pocket. You want me to take a picture of it on my limited edition Tallica Razor phone? Wow, yes. That would be great. Yes, please. Please do that. Hey, does anybody have any vodka? No, I don't. It's early in the morning. I got some. Well, it's got to be 12 o'clock at night somewhere. That's true. All right, I'm in. No, no way. Just give me bleach.
Hey, can I ask you a question? What? Hey, how come Zeth's not doing phones? Too soon. Too soon. Too soon, Lars. Too soon, bro. Way too soon. Hey, guys. How come there's not as many sound effects on the show? Lars! You know why. This is the Mikey Show. Get downloads and podcasts at rock1053.com. Hi! Welcome to Coffee-Rama. How may I help you? I text a lot, but I'm the farthest thing from him. Eddie. I gotta tell you, like, the older I get, the more and more I become into, like, history stuff. Sky. Um, you know, your friend's a little sensitive and isn't a big fan of violence. Boston Rob. I watch a lot of Food Network lately, and it's mostly because of you. And Ashley. I love my bangs, and they grow out so much. Save that clip. I know. Save that clip. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. House of Blues brought food. Dude. This is outrageous. I know. We have so much food today. First of all, for those of you that didn't know, House of Blues does good food. And I'm just going to give you a tip. They're saying that if you go to their website right now, www.hob.com slash San Diego, there's a coupon you can print for free lunch. Sky?
Sky. Are you? Oh, no one saw that coming. Free lunch. No one saw that coming. Sky's got carpal tunnel. She's trying to get on it, so. Oh, no. Sky likes a free lunch, and this is a coupon for loves. Her nickname is free lunch. Her nickname's free lunch. You know why we call her that? Why? I don't know. Because when we all go to lunch. She gets a free lunch. She never pays. She's never paid in her entire life. That is a lie. You didn't pay one time when the bill was $2.35. At a Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. That is a lie. You know what? I bow down to you. That is a lie. One time you pay. This is a song about Sky liking the free lunch at House of Blues. Look at her furiously typing for that coupon. Coupon, coupon, coupon. Free, free, free, free. Can someone line up computers? Somebody. Oh, I wish I could be two people and get two free lunches. No letter? What the hell? She's free lunch. I doesn't need this today. I've had enough on fire song you guys threw at her face this morning. Oh, yeah. You talking about the tribute? Now this. She sang that song herself. She did not sing that. This is the second tribute of the morning, far as I see it.
Doesn't affect her. Not yet. I have questions about House of Clues. Legitimate questions. I'd like to get to questions about the free lunch, please. How many meals can I eat at one time? Yes. I'd like to know if there are any formal people that would like to pretend they're me. Yes. Does that mean I have to tip? Yes. Can you get the free lunch to go? Yes. Scrutuity included? Yes, she is. Define free. Yes. What about the drink? We all know I love Chardonnay. Anyway. Can I ask my serious question now? Yes, you may. I don't think I'm stupid, but I thought the House of Blues was a venue that you saw concerts at. It is, but they also have food there. They have a restaurant. Which is open when there's not concerts going on? It is. And they're doing lunch now. That's good. Free lunch. Shut up! Anybody listening to me right now can have a free lunch at House of Blues. That's amazing.
Go to their website, hob.com slash San Diego. Print out your free Skype. Just stop doing it. Can you stop typing? Just for a second? Like, we'll give you one. We have one. I print. I print. I print. I print. Print there. What is this? No. She is something else. Please. Does anyone have any scissors? Forget it. I'll just chew it off. Gotta save room for the lunch. That one even got Ashley a little bit. Just a little bit. No, it did not. It did too. I can't believe that you're doing this. You laughed a little bit when I said that. You're out of hand. Sky, would you like this one? Sky, you're drooling a little. You might want to dab that with a ShamWow. With a ShamWow. I thought that would get through. I thought that would go unnoticed. Yeah, because I have a ShamWow right here. I thought that would go unnoticed. You getting this camera guy?
God, you guys are worse today. This is tough. I thought you were better, Mike. This is tough. I'm 100% better. But you keep packing up stuff. All right. You're shooting oysters over there. Hey, Eddie, Eddie. Eddie. That was so gross. Can we not handle that? It's too marred for us. Yes. All right. House of Blues, thank you. Thank you. You're the best. You're good folks. It's great. Great. Thanks. Great. They do Cajun-style food, by the way, for those of you that were wondering. And for those of you that are interested in Super Bowl-type things. Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Let's do it. Are you guys ready for this? I'm ready. Well, we know how Barry Bonds' perjury trial's coming up. Yeah. Well, former Major League catcher and teammate of Barry Bonds. He's going to testify against Bonds saying that Bonds took steroids. Holy ass. What? They got a former teammate that's going to say he knowingly took steroids. Like, what's he going to say? Why is Ella doing that? He's probably going to say, I saw him take it. Really? Yeah, in the clubhouse.
Barry should have been nicer to his teammates. I'm surprised Jeff Kent's not up there saying no. Jeff Kent's like, I'll pay you to let me testify against him. So that was a huge story. Phil Mickelson, he's not having a good first round of golf. He shot five over par in his first round of golf of the year. Didn't look very good doing it. Dude, I was eight over last week. I was so bummed. Oh, really? If you shot eight over par. I did. Because I was six under. Because I was six under. I was six under. You were six? And I was rubbing it in Mike's face. She was, yeah. And I'm like, yeah, two bad shots. Sorry. Yeah. Sorry. I'm the best, bro. This is very juvenile. I'm sorry, Eddie. So I had to take her to lunch. Free? Yes. Yeah, I knew it. Play the song. Yeah, that. Former Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is not going to coach this year. He's going to join ESPN as an analyst. Really? Yep. And I don't know if you guys are aware of this.
The Super Bowl's on Sunday. Yes, it is. Talk about Wiz and Hunt. His nicknames were in high school. You're such a jerk. You're the one that would be making them up, you know? You know what? That's what I'm saying. Get on Facebook, will you? Already? I'm going to write on your wall. You guys, these are all off-air insults. Okay. Write on. Guys, I don't think Randy Lane would appreciate this. Well, you know what? Next time we see science, we'll just tell him. Ah, inside jokes. No more inside jokes. We do the show for us, okay? All right, Murph. Okay. Well, I think this is leading perfectly into Eli Manning and what he thinks of the Super Bowl. Thank you.
Being an underdog is something that I think they probably enjoy. We enjoyed it last year. We kind of took that as motivation, being an underdog. No one believing or saying, hey, it's all about the guys in this locker room. We've got to trust each other and believe in each other. Dude, I can hear it. That's all that matters. It's us going out there, playing as a team, believing as a team. You kind of feel everybody's against you, and you come together. It makes the team a lot closer. Just really rally around each other and just having total phases. Yeah, he's manly. He has a heavy bottom job. No, he has like a cone-shaped head, but not like cone heads, like reversed. Okay. We get motivated and support each other so much. I would just like to make this statement. Yes. Eli Manning's won a Super Bowl. Oh, I almost got sick. That's weird. I hate that. How's that feel, everybody? Oh, it feels really grimy. Well, here's the little piece of news that's come out of Tampa. It's Heinz Ward. You know, he's had his knee problems, but he practiced yesterday, and he says he's ready to play on Sunday. So you will see Heinz Ward out of the field.
Yeah, you're right. He didn't even need to play for the Steelers to win. It will not make a difference. How dare you? It doesn't need that. I mean, if the team could sit down and beat the Cardinals. The Cardinals are going to win this game. They're going to win this game. No chance. It's going to be an uproar. Ken Wisenhunt. It's going to be an uproar? Yeah. It is? An upset. That's your girl. That's your girl. Dare you. It's your backup. Ken Wisenhunt. What about him? He was there when they were designing defensive plays. He knows what they're going to do. I know, I know, but he was there. He was in those rooms. He was in those rooms. He knows what they were doing. He knows what they were up to. He's going to scheme. Joke's going to be on you, bro. And you want to know something? MVP of the game, and Quan Bolden. Stop it. No, not Larry Fitzgerald. The Monkey Show now presents Ashley's Fitzgerald Facts. It's the last one, you guys. She loves Larry Fitzgerald. What if they win? Do we still do this? No. Yeah, we're going to do this every day throughout the year. For the rest of the year. Until next season. Until next season.
We're not even on in Phoenix. What is this? I don't know. I don't know. Why is Fitzgerald? We never did a Rivers fact or anything like that, like an LT fact or anything. It's not the same. It's not the same. Listen. Give it to us, ladies. What's your fact about Larry Fitzgerald? It better be real and good. It will be. It better be real good. For the listeners that don't know that want to know, Larry Fitzgerald, number 11 on the Cardinals, taking them to the Super Bowl, guaranteed victory. You jerking. You just jinxed it. Face, face. What did you just do? I don't. Oh, I don't jinx. It's not a jinx. Rob your thoughts. You'll see. I don't even want to get close to that statement. I'm going to text you. It's not a jinx. You'll see. I don't need to explain. It's over now. Maybe she doesn't understand what that word means. You're welcome, Pittsburgh. Oh, it's over now. It is over now. Let me tell you something. They better win now.
They better win. Oh, I've got it under control. Thank you. Everything is under control. What are you going to do if they don't? It's not going to happen because I already have everything planned out. It's fine. What is planned out? It's fine. It's not. It's not. You're just jinxed. You ruined everything. Tell me something about Larry Fitzgerald. Larry Fitzgerald, who is taking his team to the... Freaking Super Bowl, right? Because he's that good. He's a member of the team. Yeah, she guaranteed victory, yeah. His amazing catches has earned him the nickname Sticky Fingers in local media. Sticky Fingers? That's very creative. To take it a step further, he's also known as Sticky Fingers because he is the best shoplifter in the world. He has stolen crown jewels. Not regular jewels. He's stolen the Mona Lisa and he's stolen my heart. Oh, wow. Does she have stupid issues? Wow. I didn't know that before. That is so stupid. I didn't know that before, Mike. Let me go ahead and try to redeem this segment. Thank you. It is time for Boston Rob's Paul Amalu point of interest. Interest. Interest. Interest. Interest. Interest. Okay. Sean would do it. Interest. Too soon. Sorry. Okay. It's a long one today because this is going to be my last.
So I hope you enjoy. But Troy Benjamin Palamalu's uncle. His name is not Benjamin in the middle. Listen, Michael. You know it isn't. Really? Michael. Yes. Go ahead. Listen to me. Talk to me. His uncle is the running back's coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Eddie might know this. Did not. And his uncle's buttocks is so firm that it was used as a trampoline by homeless children at a charity event. Wow. That's firm. Troy B. Polamalu once braided his hair and used it as a bridging guide to get the Donna party to safety. And the story that they ate themselves, that's just a myth. Troy didn't want any special treatment, so they kept it on the DL. He also saved Ronald Reagan's life, refused Michael Jackson's advances, showed Bear Grylls how to survive in the wild using only a stick, and taught Moses from the Bible how to dance. All right. Got it. There. There you go. That is a point of interest. Hope you're happy. That is so nice. That was pretty good. You're happy. Thank you. Well, well. Oh, thank you. That was too much. You think? Yeah. Yes, I do. Okay. Well, it's going to be the last one. All right. Palamalus. Oh, it is on. You're not going to believe this. Wow. You jinxed your team. I did it. I can't believe you said that. More peanut butter recall. No. What? More peanut recalls. More. Holy cow. You want to know if it's going to affect you? Oh, man.

Michael Jackson reportedly got $400,000 to make Thriller into a Broadway play. And so John Landis is like, hey, bro, where's all my money? Michael Jackson isn't paying up, so he filed lawsuits over it. This is Michael Jackson on the phone. Michael Jackson on the phone? What's up, Michael? You have that part of the story wrong. Oh, what? They weren't going to pay me $400,000. They were going to pay me $400,000 leprechaun.
Oh, really? I don't blame you. Why would anyone want 400,000 leprechauns? Because they didn't have 400,000 pounds of belly lint, which is what I originally wanted. Well, that's kind of weird, Michael. And so then I was like... Why are you doing that? Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. Bruce Springsteen's a halftime show this year. I am over it. Enjoy. Stop it. I hope you're proud of yourselves. I'm over it. There's no such thing as over it. Thank you, Janet Jackson. That's what I'm saying. Thanks for ruining it. It used to be cool. It was. Every year it was like Aerosmith. One year it was like, yeah, yeah. And then one year it was No Doubt. And then she pulls a boob job on everybody. And next thing you know, next thing you know... It becomes, you know, this. Hey, Mikey, is it weird that I laughed out loud at the menu item side of rice when I went out to lunch with my coworkers the other day? That's when you know you're a P1. It says, I tried to explain the hilarity of it all, but all I received in return were blank stares. Why can't everyone be a P1? Thank you. It would make my life so much easier. Your faithful P1. P1 Meredith. Love it. Love it. Love it. Or peanut recall.
Like, when's this stuff going to be over? It's 9-19, by the way. Man, too much. So, yeah, basically this peanut recall has been going on, this peanut plant in Georgia called the Peanut Corporation of America. They've now extended the recall on their peanut butter going back to, I heard that, going back to January. You thought you did. He hit the cough button. But I still heard it. It was gross. So the recall goes all the way back now to January of 2007. For a full list of everything being recalled, you can go to the FDA's website, which is FDA.gov. But the new little tidbit of information this morning is that they sent a shipment of peanuts to Canada a while back from this Georgia plant, and Canada sent it back. Now, this is before the recall even happened. Canada would not accept the peanuts because, quote, they were filthy, putrid. Or had a decomposed substance on them. Gross. And they said when they sent the peanuts back to the U.S. saying they wouldn't accept them, they were never tested by federal inspectors on the way back in. We have... So nobody knows what happened, but inspectors say they've reportedly found roaches, moles, and a leaking roof in this plant in Georgia. That's so gnarly. Stop it. I'm sorry. Stop it. These are the facts, bro.
We have one of the peanuts on the phone. What? What? What's up, man? What's up? What's going on? Hey, we're just one of the peanuts that everybody's asking questions about, man. Oh, wow. The actual peanut? Are you just one of the peanuts or are you Mr. Peanut? Oh, I guess I don't have an identity, right? On my own. Well, we all know Mr. Peanut with the little top hat and the cane and the little boop-boop on his eye. Yeah, that's what we all look like. We're all the same, right? The monocle? It's called the monocle. But, yeah, boop-boop is good. Yeah, monocle, man. Yeah, I'm wearing monocle, dude. I got on a top hat monocle. I'm carrying a cane. Oh. Because you know what? All peanuts are the same, man. Well, no. This is going badly. I was just wondering if that was you. Never mind. Yeah, didn't me. Well, Peanut, you know, obviously there's a big controversy right now with all of you. and your buddies being recalled, what's the latest? It's the pinnage, man. It's the pinnage. It ain't even us, dude. The pinnage? Yeah, dude. That pinnage was giving people problems last year, too. No, it's you, actually. You mean spinach? It ain't. Is he saying spinach? Yes, he is. Every time something goes down, everybody's all... Every time something goes down, people are always like, oh, look at the peanut, look at the peanut. Peanut did it. Well, this time it is you. I wasn't even home the night this stuff happened, y'all. Well, maybe it's not you. I heard you were like at the script club.
I was at the Scrip Club. That's right, dude. I was at the Scrip Club. You were at the Scrip Club. That's right, man. With little peanuts taking their shells off. Oh, yeah, man. To make money. Yeah. For their babies. Oh, I get it, man. Because, like, peanuts don't have enough money to go to the Scrip Club, right? We're not saying that. I have a question for you, Peanut. Are you the type of peanut that goes into candy? Are you the type of peanut that goes into peanut butter? Or are you a standalone? That's a legitimate question. Yeah. That's the stupidest thing I ever heard, man. I don't understand why that's a stupid question. Because, man, like, every peanut, it just depends on what kind of candy you go into. You don't have to, like, choose one kind of candy. Like, you know, some of us go to college, man. You know? Why are you yelling at it? Some of us go to college. Some of us have different jobs. Some of us are in the French Foreign Legion. We do whatever we want, man. I've never heard of that. I've never heard of a peanut being in the French Foreign Legion. I saw something on the History Channel about that. Really? Rob, you're not helping. I met that dude at the script club. That I don't disagree with. That's true. That's probably a fact. He lent me money. So you're saying you're clean?
I'm saying I'm clean. I never done nothing, man. Everybody, I told you, dude, last year when the pinnage thing happened, everybody was all up. Everybody was all up like, oh, check out the pinnage, man. Check out the pinnage. And then this year when it started happening, people started going poo. They was like, oh, who's doing it this time? And so they started asking me questions, right? And they asked me, they was like, hey, man, are you filthy? And I was like, no, I ain't filthy. And they're like, people pooing. I'm like, I didn't do it. I didn't do it. They were like, well, where were you last night? And I was like, I was at home. And they were like, if you were at home, how come people pooing? the same peanut butter. And I was like, I didn't do nothing, man. And it's always, it's always the same people. Opie and Anthony said this to me too, man. Opie and Anthony. That's right. Tell them I said hey. That's right. You know, I think this clears everything up. Yeah. I don't know what he's saying. Really? There's one brother in here that believes it. And it's you, man. It ain't all peanuts. That's the truth. But it is peanuts in this situation. It's a family show. It is peanuts in this situation. It is not peanuts in this situation. They haven't proven nothing. Everybody, the FDA, the CIA, the FBI, the MIA, everybody wants to say that it was a peanut. The singer MIA.
Yeah, that's right, dude. That's T.I. too, man. I have a question for you, Peanut. Go ahead. Do you consider peanut butter murder? Wow. Dude, that is messed up, bro. Why? Because I do consider it murder. Okay, well, that's what I'm saying. I thought so. That is shocking. I'm up out, y'all. That's it? Wait. I have more questions for you, Peanut. What does that mean, I'm up out, y'all? I don't know. There was a lot he said in that. I was done. You kind of have to read between the lines, I think. Wow. Or not. Well, I think that he makes a good point, though. In what point? Well, in that, you know, we all sort of stereotype a peanut. Like, you know, Skye, you know, with the thing when she couldn't think of what the monocles were called. You know what I mean? We know how she does with her mounds candies, how she, you know. She sucks the chocolate off of them. And then spits out the almond. You sexual deviant. That's right. She takes. The mounds, sucks the chocolate off, hands it to her husband, the boo, and then he eats the almond. First of all, that's disgusting. Second of all, that makes you a nuttist. Yes, it does. It does make you a nuttist. And a little nutty. Whatever, he enjoys the almond. It's not my fault. A nuttist. That's what she said. Wow. Oh, man. Wow. Wow. Bazing. Boop, boop. What was a boop, boop? That's a guy from Monaco. That's a guy from Monaco.
Sky, what movies are coming out? Oh, hello. Make them good. How am I going to make them good? You better make them good. I don't release movies. Okay, we have three new movies out this weekend. What do you got? New in Town with Renee Zellweger. That looks like the worst movie in the history of movies. What is it? Mike, it's a stupid chick flick. where this prim and proper lady, big city girl goes to the woods. I don't know what this is. It's a fireplace. I don't understand fishing. What's beef jerky? Give her peanut butter. High blood, but you got red rugs to keep from freezing the bejesus out of your toes. No, no, no. You just lost me. No problem. What didn't you get? Well, I understood that the electric is still on. Mm-hmm. Does that work? Oh, sure. Dude. Then I'll take it. As soon as I hear that music, I'm like, oh, that's chick flick music. Women, women, you have brains. Chick flick music. Women. Don't be like this. Where's the switch? Sky, you're better than this movie. You are. She seems nice enough. I agree. Don't you rest at me, poor thing. So you won't see it, right?
Well, not in the theater, but once it comes on, you know, HBO, I'll probably watch about seven, eight times. How dare you? Why? What is your problem? These movies, the chick flicks, man, they're lame. I bet there's a love story somewhere in there. Really? Isn't it Harry Connick Jr.? I think so. I like him. Yeah. All right. Also out this weekend. I'm from New Orleans. Hey, everybody. I'm Harry Connick Jr. I can sing jazz music. I'm Harry Connick Jr. over here. I go, no. Hey, Eddie. Is that your Harry Connick voice? I eat mussoletta. And why'd you have to do that with your fingers? Why the twirling of the fingers? Let him do it. Go ahead, Harry Connick. I eat beignets. Yeah, there he is. He's funny. No one's clapping. You don't need to bow. I was. Thank you, everybody. Also out this weekend, we have Taken with Liam Neeson. What? What is this? I'll tell you what it is, Mike. What is it? It's Liam Neeson, who played Qui-Gon Jinn too soon. He has a daughter, and the daughter gets kidnapped. Oh, yeah. I just said that. I don't know who you are.
Oh, I love this. I don't know what you want. Yeah, get him. I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Okay, am I British? Am I Irish? Am I English? Am I Scottish? Okay, I'm just trying to figure out what am I. Skills I've acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. A nightmare? What is a nightmare? I don't find you. So good. Shots of him gargling. So good. I don't get it. Oh, dude. I don't like it when I don't understand somebody's accent. It makes me kind of nuts. I'm with you. Like in that new movie, Defiance, the one with the Craig... Daniel Craig. Daniel Craig. Craig Gass. You know, when he's talking, it's like, what do you do? He does voices. Are you a British Russian? He's an impressionist. Please. Glad to say about that. Yes. And then finally, we have the uninvited.
After the death of their mother... You're uninvited. Is that what? Smashing pumpkins. After the death of their mother, two sisters try to convince their father that his current fiancé is not who she pretends to be. Scary. It sounds spooky. Spooky. It is. Eddie, did you watch Hell's Kitchen? Oh, yeah, dude. Did you like it? It was the premiere last night. I love the premiere of Hell's Kitchen because they do, they make them all make their signature dishes, and he, like, puts it in his mouth. He starts doing it and always, like, spits it out. I'm a redneck. I like to haunt a lot, like duck or gators or whatever. You know, it's fun because then I get to... I think he was trying to say hunt, and he said haunt. Bring that home and cook it. And the name of the dish is what? Mahigon Bananas, chef. Mahigon Bananas? It's a mahi-mahi dish with, like... Grilled banana. That's not very good. It looks like you've gone slightly bananas. It's hideous. Back in line. Ramsey's definitely just looking for a rise out of me, which he's going to eventually get. It's hideous. Back in line. Away with you. Get out of my face. Tasted like my poop. Don't people kind of get now that it's shtick? You know what I mean?
When you're watching it, I'll be like, oh boy. It's very over the top. But I think people get that and like it. Are you a liking? I am a liking. I heard that commercial on Rock 105 when I was listening to it this morning. It's like, are you a liking? Is that movie coming out too? That's so 300 too. What? No, it's not. Werewolves and vampires. Are you a liking? Yeah, it sounds exactly like 300. Like what line from 300? I think your head bends on too tight. What's a line? A lichen is like you just met the girl and you're really into her, but you're not in love yet. No. That's a lichen. That's a phase. Yeah, it's a phase. It's a werewolf, you guys. Why don't they just say werewolf? It's a scientific word for it. Why don't you just say, I really like you, but I don't want to commit yet. Why don't you just say that? And I want to slash your face off. Why don't you just say that? Just say that. These are stupid. That puts it right. Oh, we're stupid. Because we don't know the scientific term for a werewolf. That makes us nervous. Yeah. Thank you. Yes, I agree. That's what I'm saying. Please. Okay, so.
There's been a lot of discussion in this room about whether or not Jessica Simpson is Tubby. Okay? No, no, no, no, no. And I don't think she is. I mean, I think it was an unflattering pair of pants that she was wearing. She was wearing pants that came up to just below the breasts. What about the rest of her that... Looks a lot bigger. I think it is made to look bigger. You don't think she's gained weight? I think that what we've seen is pants that make her look like she's gained more weight than she has. What about her face? No, you gotta look at her arms. Yeah, the arms tell the tale. They tell the tale? They always tell. Always look at the arms. Tells a lot. I think she still looks really great. She does. It's not a big deal. People are giving her a hard time. She's happy. She's in love. You guys remember Tara Connor, the former Miss USA. She has a baby that will save the world from the machines. This is Tara Connor, the Miss USA, commenting on the photos of Jessica Simpson and what she thinks. Bless her heart. By the way, by the way.
Well, it's very passive-aggressive, right? What's your heart for being chubby? Well, and here's the thing. I want you to tell me. She is defending her, but then at the end says something that I don't know. Like, what's going on? Bless her heart. I think that people just like to grab on and lash out. Heaven forbid a girl have a little bit of weight on her or have curves. I mean, don't most women have curves? When I wear anything high-waisted or anything like that, I have to be really careful with it. You know, it's an outfit. She's performing. She's trying to do her thing. Heaven forbid she wears a bad outfit one day. So what you're saying, Tara, is, hey, listen, you know, her bad wearing that outfit. I'm very careful. I think what Tara's implying is she's not fat. Either Jessica Simpson, you just got to be careful when you wear that outfit. Well, you know, I can wear a fat suit and look terrible like her, but I would never do that. You know what I mean?
You mean put on a... Yeah, yeah, yeah. I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying. It's all in the outfit. It's all in the outfit. I'm wearing one of those sumo suits that I look like, like Jessica Simpson does. Heaven forbid I wear a sumo suit like Jessica Simpson. Bless her heart. Bless her heart. I just think it's a poor choice of pants. Yeah. It was a poor choice of pants. And desserts. And she won't go there again. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. But I told him, you know, even though he wasn't able to do the service on my truck, that he has my service down the road for when my transmission goes out. Because he did that for free, right? Yeah, he did it for free. See, I mean, how can you not respect that? You didn't end up having it. And most people, they would have charged you just to tell you that. And then, you know what I mean? That's what I'm saying. You know that lady that had the octuplets? Now, octuplets, that's 27 kids. You are correct. Mike. You are correct. I explained this to you the other day. California lady, she had octuplets. How many sides does an octagon have, Mike? Oh, this is the funniest joke I've ever heard. I don't know, Skye. How many sides does an octagon have? Depends who's fighting in it. That's right. That's right, Skye. No. Octagon has? Octopus. Eight. How many tentacles does an octopus have? Eight. Eight kids, right? Yes, Mike. That's impossible. That's impossible. Yeah. How many kids? John and Kate. John and Kate plus Octoplet. You are a nerd. You are. That was awesome. How many kids did that mom already have? Well, she already has six young kids at home. What? Okay. What are you talking about? So now she has 14 little ones. Are you serious? Running around.
That is 8, 9, 10. How is that possible? That's insane. It's 14. 14 kids. Round up. 14 kids? Yeah. And a half. And a half, I think. Yeah. So she doesn't want her identity revealed, the mother, and is trying to keep everything private. But, of course, all the news agencies are trying to interview, like, neighbors and following home and trying to get little tidbits. Well, when you're walking around the neighborhood with a 14-seat stroller, it's kind of hard not to notice. Right? People are going to know. So the grandmother of the babies, no surprise here, told the LA Times that the mother did undergo fertility treatments. Yeah. Which is interesting because you already have six kids. So it's not in the cards. Whatever. Okay. Teach their own. And then I guess an acquaintance of the family says that the mother is fairly young and lives with her parents. Weird. Oh, goodness. So she's not even married? I don't know. That's weird. I don't know. I mean, maybe she is married. Maybe the husband and her live with the parents. I don't know. That's a lot of kids, too, man. Why is that necessary? I think she should have more. 14 kids. Come on. Set a record, lady. There was some other...
14. You're not impressing me. There's some family has 18. Right. Now that's impressing me. I remember an Oprah, an oldie but a goodie, Mike, back in the day. There's 19. This family had 19 kids. They're all grown up. They all came in. Yeah. My wife said she saw something on that and that the parents don't even raise the kids anymore. It's like the older brothers are taking care of them. Yeah. So what's up with that? Yeah, like, why are you doing that? But that's how it happened in, like, the 50s. There were a bunch of big families in America, right? But not like that, really. In the 50s. Yeah, in the 50s. Maybe. Yeah. My mom was, uh, my mom was, uh, one of 13. Yeah, my dad had a huge family. My mom had a huge family. Like, maybe it was more. That's all they did back in the day. So we just kind of got used to that. That's all they did back in the day. Yeah, that's it. Well, after World War II, you know, they came back and they had that baby boom thing. And, like, before that, the World War I. When was the pill and day? Okay, buddy, we get it. We get it. You watch the history channel. So we got a, you know. All right. A history guy. When was the pill invented? Teddy Roosevelt. The pill? Yeah. I don't know. The 80s? Probably changed everything, right? The 80s? The 80s invented a lot of things, Mike. He's taking a stab in the dark. He doesn't know. He doesn't know. Mikey Show. It's weird. Hey, Mikey. Yeah. For people like that, we should actually tax them extra, and they need to eliminate any.
credits for kids, because that is... Why? Why text them extra? No, it's not. That's why we came to America, to have as many babies as we want. Go live in China, where they tell you not to. Please, dude. I'm fighting for the American dream right here. American dream is having 14 kids. It is? I didn't know. You can do what you want. It's America. In China, they tell you, have one boy, have one girl, or something stupid like that. Rob, isn't it bad for America? Isn't it bad? It might be bad, but that's our God-given right. All right. Mikey Show. Hey. Yeah. This is T1 Duck Butter. What's up? Duck Butter. That one got him. Okay. What's up, Duck Butter? I got some info on the lady with the 14 kids. Talk to me. My wife has, like, her pulse on all the gossip, but apparently this lady is 33, was recently divorced, like her husband. Them aren't together anymore. And the place that she's living at with her parents is only a two bedroom. How is it? How? Wow. I don't know. Wow. I wonder if that's true. So you expect Oprah to swoop in? Yeah. Where'd your wife get that info? She sits at work all day going between TMZ.com.
Perez Hilton. These are good sites. Great American workforce. Yeah. Job nine. Thanks. Mikey show. I heard it. Shut up. Hey, I wanted to know if anyone noticed Ashley's interview with Kasim Osgood. If they noticed Kasim just staring at Ashley's cleavage the whole time. Well, can you blame him? Okay. I mean, come on. He's a man. You know, when they look good, they look good. This isn't making me uncomfortable. Let me tell you, that was an uncomfortable interview, man. First of all, she was using Jen's pulver's water bottle as a microphone. Which she didn't ask, by the way. She just grabbed it. Then she took a swig out of his water jug. Ashley spreads the love. It was delicious. It's nuts. Mikey Show. Hello? Uh-ohs. Come on. What do you guys make of that? It's cold and flu season. What do you guys make of that cold medicine? cold flu medicine that's warm. What? What are you talking about? What are you talking about? Theraflu? No. Theraflu? No. They've decided. It's like NyQuil warm. They've decided that what people want. You're just going to decide? Yeah. What? And that's what they did. Let's see. They apparently decided. That's chicken soup, Mike. That's chicken soup. That's not what I'm talking about. For goodness sake. That's kitty litter, Mike. It's called Fresh Step.
Emergency? Yep, the boo drinks that. No, it's not what I'm talking about. You drink enough NyQuil to make you feel warm. Listen, there's this new thing out. That's Bollywood, Mike. Take a listen. When you have a cold, you want something that makes you feel warmer. I do. More comfortable. And something that makes you feel better. New Tylenol warming liquids relieve your painful cold symptoms. To help you rest easier. What? But what about when I got the cold sweats? Yeah. Total warming sensation. So not only do you feel warmer. That's not bad. I'll tell you what. It's like tequila. It like burns on the way down. How about this? It's good. How about they just put all the money into developing that?
into making NyQuil not taste disgusting. Dude, it tastes awesome. I got some in my car. Dude, that's gross, Rob. Yeah, Rob has some under his front seat, jinx it on the rag. He's the only guy I know that doesn't think that NyQuil is disgusting. I don't think it's disgusting. What? What flavor is good? It doesn't bother me. Green. Green? Green. Flavor green. Are you serious? It's not like I don't enjoy it like Rob, but I can drink it. Oh, dude. I lick the cop. I want every last drop. Are we still talking about medicine? It's so Instagram. I wasn't. It's disgusting. The only thing I hate about NyQuil is when I wake up and I feel like something hit me with a ton of bricks. But you're supposed to wake up. Feeling like you're ready to go. That's why you got to do that. Eddie, you don't take NyQuil and then immediately, like I, when I take NyQuil, I have to have like a, some kind of a chaser. No. No. What do you guys use as chaser? What do you guys use? Ham. Coke. Wait, wait, wait. Say that very loud. Diet Pepsi.
Yeah, that would work. What's bad for you with a cold? What are you doing? Diet Pepsi bad for you? Why? You gotta drink juice and water. It's not bad. Don't yell at her. Ginger ale, maybe. You don't yell at her. You don't tell her what to do. You knocked that off. I'm not a doctor, but I know what I'm talking about. You are a doctor, but... You don't drink soda. What's the matter with you people? Honey, I'm telling you. What, babe? What can I do for you, baby? Mikey show. I didn't know about it. What is it? I need to know who's in it and who's directing it in order for me to think that it might be okay. I'm out.
I'm out on Joel Schumacher. I don't like Joel Schumacher. I don't like Joel Schumacher. What else has he done? Yeah. Those, like, gay Batman movies. The bad ones. Which ones? The gay ones. Which ones? Oh, the gay ones. I don't know which ones are the gay ones. The ones where they show his nipples. They all show nipples. The ones where the guys kiss. Yeah, the one with Clooney. Yeah, the one where the guys wear a dress. Oh, I don't remember the Clooney one. Thank you. Did he do the Keaton one? No. Okay. I like that one. Do the Keaton one! Mikey Show. Mikey Show. Kids, particulate matter slash Cherry's Jubilee, and that's it. What's up? How are you, my baby? Good. What are you doing? I love you. I'm working wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Nice. Me too. I have a question. Okay. We haven't heard from Dr. Wayne regarding the disappearance of one Zephyan Oates. Oh, he's annoying. That is true. Well, I'm wondering, did he off himself? Oh. It's possible. That's creepy. That is sad. I don't know. And possible. You're my favorite creepster. Eddie has his hand up. Eddie? Yeah, I have new information about the G.I. Joe movie. What can you tell me? It's not by Joel Schumacher. Who is it? Steven Summers, who did the Mummy movies. Okay. That's a little better. Yeah. So he's the one who directed it. Who's the stars? Dennis Quaid. Marlon Wayans. No. Sorry. Well, then it's good. Then it's guaranteed very good. Not going to see it. Guaranteed, Mike. Won't see it. Mike, I guarantee it. Sorry.
This is kind of cool. The guy that played Darth Maul in the Star Wars movies is going to be Snake Eyes, which is pretty cool. Really? Yes. That's cool. What's up, homegirl? Are you biting in on my on-air time? Yeah, but, I mean, this is way more important. Thank you. Clearly way more important. Thank you, Diet Cokehead. And I take my NyQuo with a chaser of water. Yeah, me too. I like you. That doesn't help. Water doesn't taste like anything. It just washes the taste down and gets it out of your mouth really quick. Gross, man. Yeah, you get it. I hate the taste of NyQuil. You're splendid. It's like, you know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of licorice, which I hate. Yeah, the black licorice. Don't they have different flavors now? Yeah, they all taste like licorice. Really? It all tastes nasty. It all tastes like... No way. Try it with a little bit of ice. Rob. They call that on the rocks, Rob. Yes. Try it on the rocks. Splash of milk. Mikey Show. Hello? I want to hit it. Say what? It's not time yet. I want to hit it. Well, hang on the line. Hang on the line and we'll let you hit it. Will you hang on? All right. All right, hang on. He's calling in for the 10 o'clock hit it. Podcasts of the Mikey Show at rock1053.com.

So that's two coffees and two sugars. No, no, I said duck roast for sugars. Sure, please. Here you go, sir. This is orange juice. Yeah, orange juice, extra sugar. Oh, that is so wrong. There's no such thing as a wrong order at a.m. p.m. Stop in and get 20 ounces of perfect every time coffee for just 97 cents. A.m. p.m., too much good stuff. At participating stores for a limited time. This tastes weird. Did you check the pot? What? Where the coffee comes from? No, I got it at the window. The window. Hey!
Guys, look who gets his coffee from a window. A window? There's an A.M.P.M. right over there. Go get some real coffee. You deserve more than coffee from a window. Ditch the dishwater and come to A.M.P.M. for 20 ounces of real coffee for just 97 cents. A.M.P.M., too much good stuff. At participating stores for a limited time. It doesn't come in a bottle or pill. I don't have to buy it from some guy on the street. I never have a hangover, no matter how much I've indulged. Just one taste seemed to make all my problems melt away, like fog in the sunshine. Work, family troubles, money worries were all replaced with a pain-killing numbness. For a while, it seemed perfect. Then my gambling got out of control. That's right, I'm talking about gambling. Slot machines for me. Video poker, too. For most people, it's just entertainment. I became, well, before it was over, I lied.
I wrote bad checks. I was no longer there for my kids. I'm not a bad person. I just lost my way. If my story sounds like yours, call 1-800-GAMBLER. Get help. Call 1-800-GAMBLER. A message from the California Office of Problem Gambling. It is KIOZ San Diego. Hit it. There it is. There it is. You are good, man. Thank you, sir. Appreciate it. It's the Mikey Show. Eddie tried his hand at fried chicken last night. How did you like it? Well, Mike, let me tell you something. This whole wife being pregnant thing, it's tough on the husband. Oh, how dare you? Excuse me, young lady. Thank you for speaking out on this. The wife is very tired when she gets home now. Yeah, sure. She's growing a baby. I understand. But that means I got to cook dinner every night now. Yeah.
Yeah. Sky, why do you not have understanding for your work husband? Yeah, yeah, yeah. None? Guy's stepping up to the plate, man. Let's hear it. Let's hear it from men. Never mind. So I've been cooking new things. Like I made corned beef cabbage for the first time by myself through the night. Yeah. Terrific. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's absolutely beautiful. Beautiful. And then my wife is the fried chicken maker of the house. Yeah. And she wanted fried chicken. So I said, well, you know what? I'll give it a try. It can't be that hard. Right. I didn't like it. I didn't do it good. What was the problem? I didn't. I wasn't heavy handed enough with the spices. It's got to put more spices in it, dude. I thought I put a lot in. It wasn't even close. I was very good. I have to give you my fried chicken recipe. It is the greatest fried chicken I've ever had. The only reason I don't do it is because it's work takes work.
But it's the greatest fried chicken I've ever put in my mouth. You had to put like buttermilk on it and stuff? Mm-mm. Good. Mm-mm. No, you, well, wait a minute. Yeah, you do. Oh, I knew it. Yeah, you do. Yeah, I've heard that's real good. Dude, it's so great. You do it in a, you do three different dips. Washes. Three different washes. And one of them, the secret to it was, you ever seen that red hot sauce that comes in the plastic container with a rooster on it? Yeah. You know, it's got a green tip. No, no, no. It's called hirachi. Srirachi. Oh, yeah. Srirachi. Yeah. It's a clear bottle. Sky calls it something else. Yeah, it's slang. She calls it something slang, but it's like she calls it, you know, shirachi. There it is. We have some in the sky. We have some right here. Eddie, this stuff right here. Yeah. That stuff's good. You take buttermilk and you put about. Three tablespoons of that. Yeah. And you mix it with a fork. Give it a little spice. A little kick. A little kick in the pants. It's the perfect spice. And then this is very important. Add a little NyQuil. No. Do not do that. This is very important. Peanut oil. Okay. Oh. Peanut noir. Peanut noir. Peanut oil. And you take. I'm not using anything with peanuts right now. Yeah. Take about three cloves of garlic. Mm-hmm. Bash them so they're opened up. I love doing that.
Put it in at the store. They'll sell you these little things that you can put stuff in so you can soak it. What is Mike saying stuff? I don't know. I'm really confused. Did it really get confusing there when I said it at the store? I fell asleep like an hour ago. Oh, I'm sorry, Mike. I really don't know what I've done. You're sharing. I don't know what I've done to deserve this. So after the garlic bashing, what am I doing? Well, I mean, I guess unless it's about ham, we're just not going to be able to. That's a great point. That's a great point. That's the new one. What about fried ham? You got a fried ham recipe? So you take the garlic. I just posted on the website already. I'm dying to hear this. It's really good. It sounds delicious. I know, but she doesn't want me to get it out there. She's apparently a chickenist. She's a nuttist and a chickenist. You throw fresh garlic and thyme into the oil. Then you let it get hot. Then you take it out before you fry it. Dude. More flavor. I love fried chicken. And another extremely important thing, buy a whole chicken and chop it up. Oh, jeez. I don't know about that. It's fresher. What about growing your own chickens? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can plant a chicken. If you plant a chicken in the spring. Well, no. What about making a coop? What if you got a coop in your backyard and then grew your own chicken? It's for eggs, bro. It's for eggs. There's a new show that I think you would love on Food Network. Top Eggs? No. What is it? It's called Chopped.
Oh, yeah. Dude. I've seen the preview. I haven't seen it. That's crazy. Hosted by O.J. Simpson. That's what I heard. Wow. That's what I heard. Wow. No one was thinking. It probably is. You are the new double over the top. Yes, you are. So I said it. That's cool. So what they do is they have four cooks, you know, four chefs. Yeah. And they all start with an appetizer course, and you get a basket. And you have to make something with whatever's in the basket. And it's like crazy ingredients. It's like somebody's head. Okay. Is that really in there? That's an ingredient. Sounds like a horse. A blonde woman's head. That's right. Some sunglasses. And a Nikita. And a glove. And an Asian judge. And a Bronco. And a husband trophy. And some McDonald's. That's right. And a slow speed chase in the basket. She's sitting up over the top. Yeah. Secrets in the sauce. That's right. Bacon tastes good. That's right. Pork chops taste good. Thank you.
So they got to make whatever's in the basket. How long do they get? 30 minutes. And then they chop one person. How is this different from Iron Chef? Well, it's different ingredients and they got to combine them all to make a dish. So it's like Iron Chef meets Top Chef? Kind of. And they cannot keep, I'm guessing they cannot, they have to use everything. So it could be like... Green onions, grape jelly, and double murder. Is that what could be in the basket? Yes. Green onions, grape jelly, and double murder. All right. Hey, listen, you got to work with what you have. Use it all. And maybe some DNA. That's right. A double murder here and a pork chop there. You hear a chop, they're a chop. They're everywhere. Choppy choppy. Choppy choppy. That's right, man. Well. Ridiculous. You get what I'm saying? It's really good. Uh, let's see. That's why I like the show. Thanks, Eddie. It sounds like a good show. I pretend that what I'm going to make. I want to watch it. Every episode. Yeah. Sky has the list of the most expensive concert tickets of 2008. Oh. Dave Matthews. No. Okay, let's calm down. KC and the Sunshine Band. Yes. Smashing Pumpkins. Uh.
Okay, so this is... Harold and Kumar go to New York. Yeah, that's it. It's not a movie or a concert. Greatest concert ever. Broadway play. So this is from Ticketmaster, and it's the average ticket... Mr. Mister. All right. Kaja Gugu. Icicle Works. Solstice. Oh, yes. Are they back together? Too soon. Sky, give me... How many do you have in the top ten? Yes. Give me number ten. Number 10 is the police with an average price of $216. Madonna. Oh, Madonna. Madonna. Madonna is number one with an average price of $378. Wow. Gavin Rosedale. The Eagles. The Eagles were number three with an average price of $216. No, Alter Bridge. Yes. Everybody loves Creed. What about... Eagles. Um... Eagle Eye Chan. Montel Jordan. Is Montel Jordan on there? That's a good one. No, Montel Williams is on here, though. He is? Yep. Phil Donahue? Yep. Number 12. Oh, I know who was on there. What are you still touring? Smimey Lailas. Sasha Fierce. Miley Snidiness. No, Smimey. She's not on there? Nope. Gosh darn, you would think her concert is a comedy tour. Metallica? People are calling with guests. It's Mikey's show.
Yeah, I wanted to call about a recipe I found that I thought the guys might like. We'll come to it in a minute. What's it for? Well, it's just a bacon explosion recipe that I thought Sky would be a big fan of. Of course she will. She loves anything with bacon. Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste good. Eddie Rabbit and Crystal Gale. Thank you. Together again. That's what the tour is called. Together again. Eddie Rabbit, Crystal Gale. Together again. Eddie Money. Yeah. Mikey Show. I got two guesses for the most expensive tickets. Go ahead. Jonas Brothers or High School Musical? That's good. Both are ridiculous guesses. I'm saying After the Fire. Neither of those guesses are on the list. Good guesses. Disney on Ice. James Ingram. Quincy Jones. Yeah, none of these are the kids. Bert Baccarat. Mikey Show. Yeah, what about Jack Johnson? I paid $100 to go to Jack Johnson. You got robbed. Jack Johnson? No. George Harrison. Mikey Show. Is he dead? Who? Hello? Yeah, who? Pep Five. Oh, the Pimp Five. Oh, you got to say the joke, right? Oh, Taylor Dane. Mikey Show. Taylor Hicks.
T1 Spartacus here. Wondering, I heard that the Metallica concert was pretty expensive. Yeah. I already guessed it. Terrence Trent DRB. We already said that. Mikey Show. Nuke is on the block. Oh, yeah. Or Kenny G. Or Samantha Fox. No. Any one of the three? Exposé. No. What about Stacey Q? Ooh, two of hearts. En Vogue. Mikey Show. Gloria Estefan and the Sound Machine. The Miami. The Miami. Why do I even do lists? Go ahead. American Idol's Sarah Long. American Idol's Sarah Long. She was really good. They compared her to William Hungry. That was a hard ticket ticket. They did. They did compare it. Information Society. Little sister, who's the only one? They edited that in, man. This is Indian Boy. This is Haji from Johnny Quest. That's me, right? That's not very good. That one was not very good. That was like Roger Moore on crack. It kind of was. What? Conversion. Software version 7.0. You probably never heard of that version. So now you have. So yeah. So take it. Secret Garden. Savage Garden. That's what I meant. I know. I'm just trying to pretend like I don't know their names since the CD's in my car right now. Yeah, Secret Garden's way better. Mikey Show. How about Joan Jett? I love the sincerity there.
What about Joan Jett? Go ahead. Hey, it's Celine Dion. Celine Dion. Number six, average price of $240 a ticket. Is that for real? No, I made that up. Oh, Scott, come on. You can't make it up. Right for the jugular. Bitt Midler. Nickelback. All right, Scott, what's number nine? Kid Rock. Pearl Jam. 98 Degrees. I don't want to tell you what number nine is. Saints of Los Angeles tour. What? Number nine is Neil Diamond with $217 on average for a ticket. I'd pay more. Yeah! Pay more? Why did you not want to tell us? Awesome! I'm just saying. Well, you didn't like him? Well... What's your problem with Neil? Well, sometimes he hears us mention him and, you know, he gets all... He's a great man. He gets all worked up. You have a problem with me stopping by? No! No!
The boo's getting teeth pulled. I'd like to get home. I'd like to check on him. The boo get teeth pulled every day, you lazy little lady. Don't yell at me. It's a song about your laziness. Why am I lazy? Because you want to get the heck out of here like you're flying the coop, you rooster. I want to check on my husband. He's all right, all right? I just got out of there. We were drinking wine together, me and the doctor. Don't say that. We were shooting lewds. You were shooting lewds, by the way. All right, here's a song about all you getting wisdom teeth. Here we go. Come on. I hope you enjoy it. There's no song on those sky pants. Same ones Jessica Simpson wore. Yeah, a little high, a little tight. Yeah. You got your teeth pulled, boo. All right. What's the matter with you, Sky? I love it. Leave him alone. What's the matter with your face? Don't throw the cap.
That's what that little boy in there has, my zygote. It's the facial bone, Neil, and you hit me right. That's Ashley. Right there. No, he's right. She's a young lady. Take this one, Springfield. There we go. You mean Springfield? I should have been the halftime show. You bunch of filthy apes, why don't you get away from me and give me some heroin to smoke in the bowl. What? Hey, did I say that out loud? Yes. We're not on the radio, are we? I'm totally against them. Give me more. Get out of here. Why'd you book me? Better. What website do you think she's on? I don't know. Let's slow this down. Let's slow it down a little bit. That was way too soon. You ready? Let's do this. I want to do this one for all of you. This is for all the Asian girls over 17 years old. Why?
You missed your cue. Very weird. Here it comes now. Why don't you pull? Pull your own teeth, boo, since you're all hopped up on giggle drops. What the hell is that? That sounds good. Taking your giggle drops. I'd like some. From Mr. University of Tijuana. Take that. We're the best. You're not pronouncing it? What happened? You ape. What's up? She's not an ape. I got this with you. molar. Give him back his son. I quit. I'm not doing that anymore. She just did the give me back my son. She did. It was that voice. That was ridiculous. Angelina Jolie just got hit in the right molar. Holy cow. That's not my molar. That's not my molar. Coming soon. Oh my gosh. My stomach hurts.
P1, what's hampooning? Has a guess. Let's see. What's your guess, P1, what's hampooning? I got a couple legitimate guesses. Go ahead. Let's hear them. How about either the Eurythmics or Peter Gabriel? Those are good guesses. They on there? Of course they're not. What do you mean, of course they're not? You didn't even look at the list. Well, I don't need to look at the list. Anne Hathaway. What? She's not even an actress, bro. That's a good guess. Oh, Wally World. Oh. Hayden Pantieri. Again, an actress. Stone Temple Pilots. Sure. Reese Witherspoon. Who else is on there? What's number eight? Eight, Coldplay. Of course. $217 a ticket. Keen. Number seven, Bruce Springsteen, $235 a ticket. There you go. The Fallout Boys. Number five, Tina Turner, $263 a ticket. Bullets for my Valentine.
Number four, ACDC with $263 a ticket. Number three, Radiohead. Number three was the Eagles, Mike. And number two, finally. Lords on Acid. Oh, they're good. Finally, number two, Elton John, $306 a ticket. She is good in concert. She is good. Like the Queen of England comes out there all in regalia. In her Donald Duck costume. That's right. Wearing those big, oversized sunglasses. Goofy ears. That's right. Suspenders. It's really a sight to behold. It's romantic. Worth every penny. Every penny. Brooke Hogan's going to get into wrestling. Shut up. That's what she says. Finally. What's the problem? What is your problem with Brooke Hogan? She's got good genes for it. It's in the bloodline. Big woman. Tall. Strong. She's like six feet tall. She's going to wrestle? I would confess that they're dead. This is weird. Okay, so they're still working out the final details of the deal, but Brooke Hogan, we know her singing career, not really catching on fire. Why are you playing this song? I'm playing it because of... Oh, we get it. You're broken. We heard. We know. I'm just a broken down piece of meat. I know. Piece of meat. Right. Here we go. Stop crying. I can't help. Every time I talk about it. Stop. About Brooke Hogan? I know. It's tough.
A tear falls out of my eye. Oh, we know. We saw the trailer. Well, you haven't won it yet. You have nominated. Are you going to be at the halftime show? I actually talked to Buck Hogan to prepare for the role. Oh, did you? Oh, wow. And every couple of days... Shouldn't you talk to Hulk Hogan? Oh, man. Uh-oh. He likes to get deep. I need to talk to an old husband. No way. He's a husband in the... So I called her up on the phone one day. I said, listen, you're all broken down has been. And I said, you mind if I follow you around for a couple of weeks and you tell me what it's like to want to get it back? I'm inspired, Mickey. She let me follow around for a couple of weeks and I had to put rocks in my bra. What the hell?
What? Because back in the day, they stood up all perky, but now. Okay. Okay. I'm just a broken piece of meat. You're weird, Mickey Rourke. This got strange. I'm sagging. All right. That's enough. That's enough of you. Have you ever seen a broken piece of meat? Yes, we have. How many times? All right. Okay, we've seen your boobs. Great. Have you ever seen gravity take effect? Yeah, they're sagging. Let it go. Let it go. Sorry, I'm crying. I'm scared. Oh, what? What? Tell me why Brooke is going to do this. Well, her singing career isn't going so well. Oh, no. So, a deal is about 90% done for Brooke to wrestle the son of Ric Flair. What? I'm furious. Why? She's going to fight a dude? She's going to fight a dude? Hey, it's fair. Maybe three and a half years old.
He's a Burberry. He's just a Burberry. That's weird. That's stupid. Eddie, do you even know who Ric Flair's kid is? He's got a few kids, so I don't know. I wonder how old he is. Did they say this guy? No. I'm sorry? Wow. She's really concerned about Boo. I need to get home and check off the Boo. He's really on one right now. He's so stupid. He's fine. You don't know that. He's a grown-ass man. You don't know that. He could be in pain right now. What do you think? That he's in an alley with like, you know, a gas-soaked rag pushed up into his molar hole? You don't know. You don't know. You know, just hoping somebody will rescue him? Yeah. He went to a professional, you know, like a real doctor. He's got like a plaque scraper fending off crazy... What? People. Teeth germs. Thank you. What? attacking him. What do you think is wrong? I don't know. Maybe he needs, like, soup. Maybe Sky just wants to go home. Maybe. No, I want to make sure he's okay. Every Friday, she's like, you know, um... The Boo just had to get his kidney removed. Yeah. What's the big hen say, Mike? Boo's pinky toe just got removed. Gotta get home. Better get going. Needed some soup. Anyway, testimony, see ya.
What are you waiting for? We should have you call him on your cell phone on the air. Go ahead. Go get yourself. Go get yourself. Why are we playing into her? Because I want to see what this sounds like. This poor guy. So stupid. He's like, will you leave me alone? I'm an adult man. I'm an adult man. You're in love. I mean, give me a break already. 570-1053. Call us. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones so you can call us up. Say whatever you want. Just comment. My question is, how did he get home? Because... Drove. Like, he drove himself? Yeah. That was a little scary. He wasn't under anesthesia. Public transit like I had to have to. Yeah. Take the public transit, man. That's a broken down piece of meat. I'm just a broken down piece of meat. All right. Stop crying. I'm not, man. You are. I can see the tears. You're a mess. The tear poured out of my eye. I couldn't hold it in. You're a mess. Well, it's embarrassing. You're a mess. Gross. You really... Oh, kiss me. Never. You need some help. 570-1053. Mikey Show. Hello. You're an imposter. This isn't the real Harry Carey imposter. How do you know? Because...
Well, first of all, because Harry Carey is dead. Too soon. Too soon. That's too soon. Yeah. All right, Sky, you got your phone? Yeah. All right, let's hear you call the boo. Well, it's a good sign there aren't any voicemails. He's probably asleep. Yes, because he would have voicemailed you to yell for help. Well, maybe the dentist would call. Oh, no. Michael just spit up soda everywhere. Are you okay? I need soup. Can you please help me? Oh my gosh. My mouth is on fire and I can back. My mouth is on fire. You guys, he's not answering. Oh my gosh. Oh no. Poor soul. Bonnie, are you okay? Text me, Twitter me, something. I love that he didn't answer. I love it. Oh no. She's going to freak out. This is great. It is not great. Hey babe, it's me.
Stop laughing at me. I just want to make sure that you're okay. I'm worried about you. We're sorry. Stop talking so I can't come home and see you. So I just really wanted to. This is what a normal conversation would sound like. So call me back. Hey, Fatso, still talking. Hey, Spickalicious won't wrap up. So you just have to wait for me to get home to talk about him. You guys, why isn't he answering? He's clearly in a dumpster somewhere. I'll tell you why. Because he's resting. He just had surgery. Do you think they're still working on him? They could be. I was there for like three and a half hours. It's supposed to start at seven. If they were impacted as bad as mine, then yeah, it would be about three hours. Or it could be. You never know. He had his teeth pulled out. Do you know the statistics on this? Yeah, most people make it. I hope he calls back. I'm going out on a limb with this stat, but I think most people make it. Aunt Ron. 45%. Die, Mike. No. From wisdom teeth. Mikey Show. Hey, what's up? It's online here, bro. Yep, it is. What's up, dude? Now, Mike, this is T1 Mondo. Hey, listen, I've been calling all morning trying to get all of you. You know, I really appreciate what you do on Fridays. You know, it gets a real man to...
Tell stories of his past and accept Jesus. And I just want to thank you for the inspiration. I've actually recently accepted Jesus Christ in my life. I just wanted to thank you. Praise God, dude. That's awesome. That's awesome, brother. I love it. Thank you very much, Mike. You guys have a great weekend. Thank you, dude. There's a dude on the line who wants to give us a recipe. He's been holding to give us a recipe. Are you there, Smalls? I am here. You're going to make Sky insane. This might be this guy's new favorite recipe. It's not ham, but it's pork. So I figured it's kind of on the same page. It's worth it. What is it? Go for it. Two pounds stick-cut bacon, two pounds Italian sausage, one jar of your favorite barbecue sauce, and one jar of your favorite barbecue rub. What you do is you weave like a fence out of the bacon, and you take the sausage, and you make a layer of that on top of the bacon. Then you take fried bacon, and you put that on top of the sausage, and you roll it up into a log. Cover it in your favorite barbecue rub. smoke it, and then smear it in barbecue sauce. What is this concoction? What is this? I found it on the internet this morning. Go to www.barcinetics.com backslash bacon dash explosion. Well, wait a second. You haven't made it yet. Anybody got anything going on this weekend they want to plug or anything? They're all going to be watching the Super Bowl. My house. There you go. All right, then. We're outie. We're outie five. Every Friday, I tell you a little bit about my past. And, you know, every once in a while, I make it a little bit different. And I tell you that.
I don't have to go through all of the stuff that happened. I can tell you briefly that I was somebody that has experienced addiction and loneliness and depression in my life. And now, because of Jesus Christ's influence in my life, I'm a changed and different person. And this weekend, I'll be watching the Super Bowl. And I can remember Super Bowls where... The whole time I was drunk. I didn't even get to enjoy the game because I was so wasted. I can remember you not remembering Super Bowls. That is correct. That is the truth. And there may be people listening right now and you say, that's going to be me this weekend, actually. But you know that it's a problem. There may be people that are listening right now and you know it's a problem. And it may not just be that. It may be drugs. It could be anything. God put it on my heart to mention.
That there may be people that are listening right now and no one knows that you have engaged in prostitution. That was put on my heart. And that if you're listening right now, the message is that he forgives you and he loves you. Those times where something comes to me that's really specific like that, I feel really weird saying it sometimes because I know it must sound kind of weird. All I can say is that ask that he's talking to people that he wants to talk to. And so that's what was put on my heart really heavy. That there are people that are listening right now that nobody knows that except for them. And he wants you to know that he loves you and he forgives you. I was able to come out of all that stuff and today be a different person that is genuinely...
genuinely happy to be alive. And there was a time where I wasn't happy to be alive. In fact, I wished anything but that. I couldn't kill myself because I was afraid that my mom and dad and my friends, everybody in my life that I loved would be devastated if I ever took my own life. I knew I didn't want to be alive because I was so lonely and so miserable and so out of it. If you go to MikeyShow.com, type in the keyword, Help, and it's going to take you to a page.
