Super Tuesdaytornado outbreakaddiction recoveryradio mishapssports superstitionsecret crushpit bull behaviorcelebrity interviewsjohn mccainmitt romneytornadoesfergie

The crew treated Super Tuesday as a character test: they celebrated John McCain and Mike Huckabee, mocked Mitt Romney's attacks and denial, and noted the much tighter Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama race. Mikey also reported the deadly nighttime tornado outbreak, while Fergie described the lies and personal decision behind her recovery from meth addiction. Two long comedy bits centered on Boston Rob blaming his Patriots superstitions for the Super Bowl loss and Alex using Secret Crush to learn that Tracy already liked him. In the pit bull argument, Snoop Dogg emphasized training, Mikey emphasized inherited fighting instinct, and Ashley defended the role of each dog's temperament. Celebrity stories supplied the remaining punch lines, with 50 Cent ejecting Paris Hilton from her own party and Snoop turning a Larry King interview into a conversation about pimping, marijuana, women, and Sinatra. The show also found humor in a broken Valentine voicemail line, a blue-skinned colloidal-silver user, and an elderly woman's theory that automobiles killed men's hats.

What happened, in order

  1. Super Tuesday fallout

The crew celebrated John McCain's surge, noted Mike Huckabee's strength in the South, mocked Mitt Romney's refusal to concede, and argued that Romney's constant attacks exposed a character problem.

  2. Deadly nighttime tornadoes

Mikey reported that overnight tornadoes across Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi had killed at least 45 people while rescuers were still digging.

  3. Why hats disappeared

Mikey relayed a 90-year-old classmate's theory that men stopped wearing hats because increasingly popular automobiles had lower roofs that made hats impractical.

  4. Valentine line meltdown

A plan for listeners to record Valentine's messages collapsed into comedy when Mikey repeatedly dialed the number incorrectly and then discovered the mailbox was unavailable and still tied to 117 old messages.

  5. Fergie on meth addiction

Fergie described hitting bottom on crystal meth, lying that bulimia explained her 90-pound weight, and finally rebuilding only after choosing recovery for herself.

  6. Paris kicked offstage

Sky recounted how 50 Cent ordered Paris Hilton off the stage at the Super Bowl party she was hosting, after which Paris cried that it was her party.

  7. The blue man

The hosts watched a television report about Paul, whose use of colloidal silver as an alternative treatment had permanently turned his skin bright blue.

  8. Boston Rob's Patriots apology

Boston Rob admitted discussing the Patriots' Super Bowl loss in therapy and read an apology blaming his changed viewing location, unlucky keychain, and missing lucky cap for the defeat.

  9. Secret Crush succeeds

Alex confessed his long-hidden crush to Tracy on air, and Tracy surprised him by saying she had liked him too and had been waiting for him to ask her out.

  10. Pit bull nature debate

Snoop Dogg said pit bulls become what owners train them to be, while Mikey argued that fighting instincts are bred into them and Ashley countered that individual temperament and training matter.

  11. Snoop meets Larry King

Snoop Dogg redefined PIMP as 'player into making progress,' discussed medical marijuana and respect for women, and coached Larry King through an awkward rap of a Sinatra song.
