The show opened with Mikey dealing with a faulty microphone while sharing it with Rob and referencing his dad's hospital scare; they discussed the dad's chest pains and negative blood test, celebrated his son's first words, and laughed about Mikey's eclair choking incident. The Dumb Chick Challenge game featured Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob answering trivia for WWE tickets, while the Ask Mikey segment gave relationship advice to callers. Musical highlights included debate over Brad Paisley's 'Ticks' song and Amy Winehouse's Grammy wins, and the show closed with tributes to Roy Scheider and discussion of Obama's primary sweep.
What happened, in order
Mic troubles and Christian test
Mikey jokes about his terrible microphone, shares it with Rob, mentions the Pro Bowl result, and reflects on a season of faith and testing in his Christian walk.
Flat tire and show intro
Mikey describes his car broken down with a flat tire on the side of the road, then introduces himself, Rob, Eddie, Guy, Sean, Ashley, Seth, and Boston Rob while waiting for a tow.
Dad's hospital scare
Mikey recounts rushing to the hospital where his dad had chest pains, blood tests were negative, and the episode felt eerily similar to his dad's previous heart attack.
Son's first words
Mikey shares the joy of his son suddenly saying his first words—'banana' and 'cat'—after months of silence, calling it an answered prayer.
Eclair choking incident
While eating an eclair, Mikey fails to chew properly, the pastry lodges in his esophagus, turning his face white and nearly making him pass out.
Brad Paisley's 'Ticks' debate
The crew reacts to Brad Paisley's Grammy performance of the song 'Ticks,' calling it the stupidest song ever and discussing its literal lyric about checking a lover for ticks.
Dumb Chick Challenge begins
The Dumb Chick Challenge game starts with Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob answering trivia questions for WWE tickets, beginning with a vice‑president question.
Ask Mikey segment launches
Mikey reintroduces the Ask Mikey advice segment, noting he lacks a psychology degree but offers opinions based on his life experience as a conservative, Christian, recovering alcoholic.
Amy Winehouse's Grammy sweep
Amy Winehouse wins five Grammys, including Record of the Year for 'Rehab,' and accepts her awards via satellite from London due to visa issues.
Roy Scheider death speculation
The show mourns Roy Scheider's death at 75, debating whether a shark bite caused it and joking that they'd need a bigger boat if it were true.

Pro Bowl was yesterday. The NFC beats the AFC 42 to 30. How much worse could this microphone get? That's pretty bad. I mean, at this point, this microphone actually sounds like a telephone. It really does? It's weird. Gosh, help desk. It really does. What the hell? Well, guys, welcome to Monday. Lots to tell you. So weird. You guys know that I am a man of faith. And in my Christian walk, they call this quite a season I'm going through. A test. A test, yeah. By the way, Rob is here with me. Tell him hi for us. Where's his mic? His mic is my mic. We're sharing a mic. Oh, that's cool.
And we're in my car, broken down on the side of the road. Oh, no. That's weird. Yeah, we are. I got a flat tire. And you know what? It could be worse. It could be a lot worse. It's just a flat tire. So thank goodness it was not more than a flat tire. What are you, Seth? Exactly. Exactly. Seriously, right? No, we didn't get pulled over. All right, so let me catch everybody up. First, let's introduce everybody on the show. And I'm going to catch everybody up and let everybody know what's going on. I'm sure a lot of people are like, what is going on with the Mikey show? What is going on? So let me introduce everybody. I'm the host of the show. My name is Mikey, and I'm 37 years old. And I'm actually way more blessed than I can imagine. So I shouldn't be complaining. I'm being serious.
Eddie is our producer and sports guy, and he's 34 years old. He's my best friend. I've known him for over 20 years, and he's allergic to bananas, and he can't help that, although he does enjoy the flavor of banana and can eat candy that is flavored banana flavor. Ironic. Weird. Guy is our news girl. She's 30 years old. And my wife and I were listening to this dissertation in a gigantic auditorium. And they were talking about heaven and what heaven's going to be like. And suddenly it popped into my head, the sky voice, and I heard, will that be ham there? Oh, wow. I'm sure that really happened. I'm sure. I'm sure. Yeah. And it made me laugh. Out loud. And it was really inappropriate and people stared. Well, yeah, of course. I like ham. There was no reason for somebody to burst out laughing at that point. Right. And I did. Honey baked. Sean is our sound effects guy, 37 years of age. We call him Salt-N-Pepa. That's true. I get to see him in the camera. This is awesome. That's right. And we see Sean in a camera.
because Sean broadcasts from the Bay Area, and we connect to him via satellite. So we have people in a studio at Clear Channel headquarters. We have a person in Clear Channel Studios in San Francisco, and he's not actually in a studio. He's in his office with a microphone and a camera. That is funny. I've never seen that before. And I'm on the side of the road in my car. With Rob. Wow. Wow. This is like full-on multimedia. Yes. Unbelievable. Mikey on location. That's right. So you're doing a live remote, correct? Yep. Yep. That's awesome. Live remote from the 805. Everybody come down here, check it out. It should be great. We're going to be here. It's about 6.30 this morning. And hey, let me tell you something, man. We are blowing it out this morning. He's making me sit in the back, though. Oh, yeah. And you're cursing. What's even stranger is, yeah, he's in the car seat. He has to go in the back seat. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years of age and has blonde hair, and she is a very nice person. Thanks. And Boston Rob is our phone screener, and he's also a valet. Nice. Be careful. He may steal that car of yours. Yeah, for real.
And he's sitting right next to me. And then we have Seth, who is 22 years of age, and he rounds out the cast. He makes seven, and he's 22 years old. And I am really relating to Seth right now. Seth breaks down the side of the road a lot. How does it feel, Mike? Yeah. So I can definitely, definitely relate to him right now. Okay, so let me catch everybody up on what's going on, because we were off Thursday and Friday of last week, and I put something about it on my blog. Basically, the deal was that when we were getting off the air on Wednesday, right about 10.05, 10.10, Ashley got a call from my wife that said, you need to sign off the air as soon as possible. So Ashley brought me a note. that said that and i considered telling people on the air and the reason that i didn't is because i didn't want to freak anybody out and i didn't know what was going on right and so i just felt weird saying it on the air and i'm explaining that because it's in my mind and my heart to tell listeners because we have a pretty close relationship with our listeners and so i just want people to know if people are like well why wouldn't you say that that's why i didn't because i just i didn't know what was up and um so i called my wife
And she said, I don't want to freak you out, but your dad is back in the hospital. And I said, what's going on? And she said, he's having those chest pains again. And so I'm praying and driving to the hospital, and I get down there, and it looked just like last Fourth of July when he had his heart attack. He was actually in the same exact examination room that he was in. The first time he had a heart attack. Wow. And yeah, it was a trip, man. And it was at Palomar and all the doctors and nurses were really, really nice. And they drew blood because this is what I learned. When you have signs of a heart attack, they'll draw blood and they'll test the blood for an enzyme that gets like excreted into your blood when you have a heart attack. And so they drew blood and the test came back negative. So they said he didn't have a heart attack. But the thing that freaked us out was it was just like the first time. It felt the same. Everything was the same. And so what we're trying to figure out is, okay, if he didn't have a heart attack, what did he have and why did that happen? And he had to spend the night at the hospital.
And then he got out, and he's home, and he's recuperating, and he looks great. He's a handsome devil. That's true. That is true. And he's doing pretty good. And then I had a sinus infection, which I treated myself. Wow. What? Smile. You did? When we were in Cabo on the P1 cruise, I bought a Z-Pak over-the-counter, because you can buy Z-Paks over-the-counter. And I bought a Z-Pak when I knew that I had an infection. I took the Z-Pak and I got better. And I also took an expectorant. What? Which made that stuff clear out a little easier. And I'm all better. I feel a lot better. I still have a little lingeringness, but...
Now, how do you diagnose a sinus infection from a cold or flu? Very good question. Thank you. Very good question. And as a physician, I thought you would know the answer. I clearly am not because I don't. Just for the audience. I know what Eddie's doing. You guys. He's posing as a question, even though he knows, because he knows that that's an educational way to inform the audience. Definitely. Which I appreciate, Dr. Stefani. I'm not a doctor, but this is a medical colon show. Weird. Well, what I have found is that if the color of the mucus is green in nature, it's bacterial. And it needs to be treated with antibiotics. If it's not, it's probably a virus and a cold will go away on its own. And so I diagnosed myself and I was better almost within... 24 hours of taking my first treatment of antibiotics. And so I'm feeling a lot better. Nice. Yeah, so that's the deal with that. And the other big thing that happened over the three days that we were off was that my son started saying words. What? Yeah, man. He had not been saying words.
And we were kind of concerned because he was like supposed to be saying words a couple of months ago. And it was like, I'm not kidding. Like overnight, he started pointing to bananas and saying banana and pointing to the cat and saying cat. That's crazy. That's great. It was crazy, man. It was really awesome. And we had prayed about it and boom, it happened. It was really awesome. And so we were super stoked about that. I had roast chicken last night. It was really good. What about you guys? Did you guys do anything cool over the three-day break, Eddie? Well, I had poker at my house on Friday, which was pretty fun. Yeah. And then Rob won. Rob actually won. I know. Amazing. Just so you guys know, Rob just looked at me, smiled, and gave me the eyebrow wave. Yeah. Of course. Of course. The guy's eating chicken this week, so he's pretty happy about that. And I also started my new game, Assassin's Creed, and probably played for 30 hours this weekend. That's not a joke. It's not a joke. I'm very obsessed. In fact, what's that? Did you already finish the game? No, I'm at basically step four of a seven-step process. And I'm so obsessed.
that I'm thinking about it right now as we're speaking, and I can't wait to get home and play. Eddie is really good at video games. For those of you who do the show, Eddie's good at video games. I'm very obsessive, though. Like, I have to finish it. And so, like, you know, it's a lot of fun. It's probably the craziest graphics I've ever seen. It's like playing a movie. It's crazy. And I also was a little bit embarrassed that I discovered something that I should have known from the beginning about my PlayStation 3. What? I've had it for almost a year and didn't realize this until this past week. I was playing with the controller and I kind of hate the setup. The way my living room is set up, I have to sit either on the edge of my couch or on the floor to be able to play. And it's annoying. And so I was, you know, thinking I need to get a wireless controller. Right. And, you know, just so that I can be comfortable while I'm playing. Well, I said to my wife, hey, can you stop by, you know, some sort of electronic store or whatever, Target, anything, and get me a wireless controller? She's like, yeah, no problem. So on her way home from work, she was going to stop. And she was talking to the guy at the counter. And she was telling him, you know, he has a PS3 and blah, blah, blah. And the guy looked at her funny and was like, what are you talking about?
And she's like, well, he wants a wireless controller for his PS3. And he goes, another one? And she goes, no, he has just the regular controller that came with it. And he goes, that's a wireless controller, ma'am. You just unplugged the plug, and it's a wireless controller. Well, there you go. She came home to tell me that. I went over to it. I unplugged it. I'm like, hey, I have a wireless controller. This is awesome. It's so embarrassing. The good news is that you have the most charged wireless. It's so true. Ever. I'm an idiot. Aww. Scott, what about you? Did you do anything cool? Well, it was a big landscaping weekend, Mike. Okay. Friday morning we had 20 cubic yards of dirt dumped on our driveway. Nice. By a big old semi-truck or whatever those big trucks are called. And then we brought in some prison labor on Saturday, a.k.a. Rob and Zeth. Wow, that's nuts. And we worked all day moving dirt and rototilling. Rob, what was that experience like, Rob? Well, my muscle for hire business, you can go on myspace.com and just email me. Any weekends need any work? That's sad. It was fun.
I got to say this, though, because I've worked landscape in nine, ten years of my life, and I've never seen somebody go out of their way to protect themselves from dirt and the sun. Are you sure you don't want sunscreen? Are you sure you don't want gloves? Are you sure you don't want a mask, like a medical mask to protect from the... A mask? You're talking about sky, right? Sky, yeah. Well, and I was offering these things to everyone. Why do you need a mask? Because, dude, inhaling all that stuff all day long. Did you see the picture of her? It's so funny. Yeah, she's got this. She has pictures. She has pictures. She emailed them. Yeah, I emailed them to everyone. But for some reason, Mike, I kept getting a bounce back from your email account. Oh, really? Yeah, but. I hate when that happens. But there was a mask involved. It's pretty awesome. Oh, my God. It's pretty awesome. 10 minutes with the sunscreen, I'm telling you. Yeah, lots of sunscreen. MikeyShow.com keyword mask in about two hours. That is fantastic news. I can't wait to see that. What about everybody else? Sean, Ash, do you guys have anything interesting going on? I had a weird thing happen on Saturday night.
My wife and I had her mother over, my mother-in-law, and we bought a bunch of like treats from the local bakery. So I took a giant bite of this eclair and I didn't like chew it enough. And so it got stuck like halfway down in my esophagus and it started to hurt so bad. My wife said my face turned completely white and I almost passed out. Like my hands and my feet went numb. Dude, it was like the weirdest experience. John has had a lot of challenges from the neck up in the last couple of weeks. Well, no, I mean, honestly, in the head bleaches. That's an obvious slam against my salt and pepper hair. How's your face? It was a face infection, I think, was what I was making fun of. Oh, so you're going to bring that up. Okay. Oh, no. No, you know what I mean. No, yeah, no. Whoa. Don't read into it. Okay. Move along. Sean, do you forget how to eat or, like, what happens? I know how to eat. Well, I don't know.
Look, dude, I was really hungry, man. Barely. All right. All right. Hey, for anybody else listening that is having the same problem, we're going to put directions for eating on the website. I hope all your other tires blow out. No, you don't. Oh, no. Oh, no. No, you don't. Ash, what about you? Did you have a good weekend with your significant other? Yes. Yes. I met his sister. And then my pops is in town, and he met the pops last night, which was awesome. Still no title? No. Oh, no. She did not like that question. We haven't had the talk, and when we do have the talk, I will let you freaking know when we have the phone. Whoa. Why are you freaking out? Yeah, get off her back, man. I mean, I'm just saying. Maybe I shouldn't ask anymore. Yeah. Yeah, and then here's the idea. I won't ask, and then I'll wait until she says, Hey, by the way, you know, I thought you might want to know. We talked about it, and now we've got, you know, more of a relationship than before. Now it's official. Like, we've got the title. Yeah, I'll let you know. Okay, I'll just wait. Cool. Until, you know, because that would be easier, probably. Yeah, good idea. Great. All right. All right. What can I tell you? Barack Obama. Obama. He's doing good. Oh, yeah.
He's now leading in the delegates. Over the weekend, he swept every primary that happened this weekend. There was a primary this weekend? I think there were like four of them. What states? Louisiana, Kansas, Virginia, and something else. Nebraska. Wait. Washington. U.S. Virgin Islands. Maine. They get to vote? Yeah, they do let them vote there. Yeah, so he basically swept everything. What about Huckabee? I heard he did good, too. Yeah, Kansas and Louisiana, Huckabee won. And then Washington was very, very close, but McCain ended up winning that at the last second. Yeah, McCain won in Washington. I heard that Obama won a Grammy. Wow, really? For what? Oh. He did. I'm not joking. For best R&B solo? No. I heard that it was for best male rock vocalist. Nice. No, it was actually for best spoken word album. Well said. His album is the Audacity of Hope, Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.
And he beat out Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Maya Angelou, and Alan Alda. Oh, my gosh. Wow, look at that. Hillary's going to be the second Clinton he beat. Wow. Let's see. The news is all very grave. So I barely want to go to some of this stuff because I'm just like, well, that's disappointing and sad. That's disappointing and sad. Yeah, some lady was stabbed yesterday. outside of Nordstrom at UTC on that upper level parking lot. She was stabbed five times in the chest. Is she okay, Skye? Let's see. I believe they say that, you know, she'll she'll be OK. They, you know, do expect her to survive. What had happened is it was just a little bit before 430 yesterday. And she was, like Mike said, on the top level of that two story parking structure just east of Nordstrom's at UTC. And a guy approached her and tried to force her in her car with him.
And she fought back and was stabbed five times. They're not specifically releasing, you know, a motive in this, but they say you can pretty much speculate that it was an attempt at carjacking. Let's see. They say after the attack, the woman ran towards the Nordstrom and collapsed near the second story. They're describing the guy as possibly Asian, dressed in black clothing, wearing a dark gray or black knit cap. They later arrested a guy sitting near the mall, but they're not saying exactly if that was really the guy. Now, can you say what her condition was again? Let's see. They say she was treated at a San Diego hospital and was expected to survive. Okay, good. I hope she's all right. If you type the phrase, pray for her. That's sad. I hope she's okay. And then the Grammys were when? Last night? Last night, yep. I didn't see any of it. Did you guys watch it? Yeah, I watched up until 10 o'clock. Yeah, me too. Anything juicy and good? Nothing, really. It was an interesting show because it was the 50th.
They brought, like, a bunch of, like, older acts and placed them with newer acts. So, like, Beyonce performed with Tina Turner and, you know, like, stuff like that. So it was, I thought it was a pretty good show. It was very heavy on performances and not so much on, like, giving out the awards, which I thought was cool. Yeah, I enjoyed that a lot, too. Did you see any performance that blew you away? I thought Kanye was pretty cool. Yeah, Kanye was real cool with Daft Punk doing a stronger, very, like, kind of heavy techno robot vibe. And then he did, like, this Hey Mama song and, you know, like, dedicated it to his mom. And that was pretty cool. Oh, The Time. You know The Time from Purple Rain? They performed with Rihanna. Oh, wow. Which was to trip. Yeah, that was cool. That's crazy. It was pretty cool. Was Michael Jackson involved with the Grammys at all? I didn't see him. No, I know that he had been rumored that they may have done like a thriller tribute because it's like the 25th anniversary of Thriller. But, you know, I didn't see any of that when I was watching. And then I didn't read anything about it this morning. And then the other the other big thing that I heard was that Roy Scheider died. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he did. The shark got him. No.
You're going to need a bigger boat. Seriously. Yeah. You're going to need a bigger boat. They're not releasing the cause of death, but I don't think it was a shark. Shark bite. Well, no, I mean, I would guess not. He was 75 years old. Yeah, I think it would be irresponsible to rule out a shark bite because we don't know that. I think we could use deductive reasoning that it probably wasn't a shark bite, but we can't rule it out. I mean, it got personal. Yeah. How silly would we feel if tomorrow autopsy reports come back? Shark bite. Yeah. Okay. My bad then, I guess. Like, we're the idiots that didn't report that. All right. Then I guess we don't know the cause of death. So we should just report that. No, we should not. Yeah. We definitely should not. Hey, Mike, I'm giving you the break sign. Can you see it? I just saw the break sign. Oh, good. Perfect.
So Eddie's saying we should break. What do we, Eddie, you have the grid. What do we have today? What are we doing? It's a big day on the Mikey Show. We got the Dumb Chick Challenge, one of your favorites. Nice. From TMZ, we got Katie Darrell calling in. I'm sure there's all kinds of stuff going on with that. Of course, we got P1 Trivia. Awesome. So we got all kinds of good stuff coming up today. All right, well. And M-Tube, M-Tube is happening. What up? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're getting some submissions for M-Tube, the way for you to make a video three minutes or less to promote the Mikey Show. We're getting a whole bunch of them, so we'll talk about that. And much, much more, so don't go away. I don't know who is in the stand-up spotlight. Brian Regan. Brian Regan. Brian Regan. You know the ultimate in looking like an idiot? It's when you walk into a spider web, right? Because nobody else sees that spider web. They just see you walking off in the distance, suddenly flipping out for no reason whatsoever. You're just walking along, everything's fine, all of a sudden, no! Did you see that guy? He just snapped. He was walking along and just went nuts through that tree. Look, he's still doing it. I don't know what happened to him. It's the same thing when a little bee starts chasing you around. Nobody sees the bee, they just see you, you know, just kind of brushing. People off in the distance, hey, who...
Is that guy waving to us? Hey, how you doing? No! I love you, Michael. I love you, too. What are you even talking about? The Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. I love going to the movies and I love watching the Food Network. Eddie. But I am. Heart of Earth. Sky. Hey, I smoked a lot of pot for many years. Yeah? Sean. I almost shot someone in the face one time. Boston Rob. I'm kind of the transient of the bunch. And Ashley. You have to hit the line to have him go on. I did? No, you didn't. It's still on hold. Hello? Ah, there we are. Hey, welcome back. It's 640.
A 13-year-old Claremont girl is lucky to be alive after an SUV crashed into her house, barely missing her. Al Cajon's Jimmy Johnson picks up right where he left off. He wins the poll at Daytona. Hey, guys. Yeah. I have to have you talk amongst yourselves for a while because I think this is the tow truck company. So talk about Heath Ledger and Mary Kate being depressed. I'll be right back. Okay. You know, this show is awesome. You're not going to find this anywhere. Anywhere on the dial. What's going on with Heath Ledger? Heath Ledger was finally put to rest this weekend. There had been services in New York and Los Angeles. Is he buried here or in Australia? He was cremated. Cremated is actually the word that people use. And was put to rest on Saturday. And they say that after all the services, which were very small, they say just about a dozen people, which was basically his immediate family and then his baby's mama, Michelle Williams. After the service, they say a bunch of them went out to the ocean at one of Heath's favorite spot at sunset and all jumped in the water. Hey, guys. Yo. Yeah. Do you know, does anybody, like, know what 847 is as an area code? No.
Okay. Sky, can you Google? Is your computer working, Sky? No? Yeah. Oh, it is? Yeah. What is 847 area code? Google. Let's see. Northern Chicago? Let me see if that's right. Chicago? Chicago. Yeah, it says show map of area code 847, northern Chicago suburbs. Chicago. I wonder if that's the tow truck driver. Well, I don't know if he'd be coming from Chicago. Guys, I'm going to hang up, call this number back, and then call you back. So when the hotline rings, it's me. Okay. Bye. Bye. Let's play Grammy audio. Can we play Grammy audio, Eddie? I want to hear, because there was some really cool stuff last night, like the performances we were talking about in the last break. Those were really good. Yeah, I was blown away, you know. Again, Alicia Keys.
to me, is the best contemporary singer around. Like, she blows me away. I thought Carrie Underwood was cool. Play that, please. That was my favorite of the night. Carrie Underwood? Yeah. Like, it was so awesome. She did Before He Cheats, but she did it with this, like, stomp troupe. You know, the, like, musical stomp. Well, it is stomp. Oh, it was actually the people from stomp. So they're banging the pipes and jumping. Love it. It sounded so good. We'll hear a piece of it. All of it. Cut to. Let me know when you want to stomp. I will. Stomp. No. Just kidding. He was kidding. Oh, wait. There's Mike. No, Mike. Hello? You know what that was? What? A marketing company. Oh, come on. Dude. Don't they know what's going on right now? Right? I wonder how marketing companies get your cell phone. The tow truck driver is just pulling up. Okay, we're listening to Carrie Underwood from last night, Mike. It was really awesome. Okay, cool. Can I hear it? Yeah. Is it on? Not now. Mike, that's the people from Stomp doing it. Stomp Truth, yeah. All right, that was great. Thank you, Sean. Are you happy now? Sounds good to me. No, she was great. And this guy's right. She performed with, like, the Stomp group. And they were, like, you know, banging their... Stomp Truth, buddy.
It's the Stomp Troop. Oh, they were with Stomp. Yeah, so they were banging the stuff and jumping. Garbage can lids and all that stupid stuff. I could be in that van. Rob just said he could be in that van. He's got all the gear. I believe him. That's true. Well, he lives in the gear. Okay, guys, I think I'm going to have to hang up because the tow truck driver's here, and so I'll... You guys can finish up the break and go into break, and then hopefully I'll be back by the next one. Okay. Good luck. Bye, guys. I want to hear Amy Winehouse, because I was asleep by the time she came on, and she performed via satellite from London. That's cut 21. Who's that dude? It's either too much bass or too much crack. His bass is taking away from the folks. Holy moly. Sounds good, huh? Well, what is, like... What is it? That's ironic, right? Really ironic. Alright, that's great. Well, that was interesting. That was really odd. And then the other big thing they did last night was the Foo Fighters performed outdoors of the Staples Center, which I didn't really understand. I guess they're not... Rock is too crazy to perform indoors, so we're going to put them outside.
And then what really didn't make any sense, they had this my Grammy moment like they did last year. Well, last year they did this with Justin Timberlake where they let just a viewer. You know, who I guess was, you know, had like a MySpace page. Yeah, like everybody submits their little video. They put them on MySpace. America votes who they want to be able to perform with Timberlake at the Grammys. Yeah, and she was a singer, so it wasn't like some Joe Schmo that got up there. But some girl won and was able to sing a duet with JT last year, which is pretty impressive. And then... uh so this year they did it with the foo fighters and i was pretty stoked because i was like oh it's gonna be like either a cool singer or guitarist or something they're gonna have this my moment yeah with the foo fighters and i was like oh this is gonna be really cool so then they show the three candidates that we had to vote on
And they were all like violinists. Yeah, the Foo Fighters only wanted people who played a classical instrument. Yeah, so there was two violinists and one chick that I think played the cello. I don't know. I don't know when you sit down with the big violin. Yeah, that's the cello. The extra large violin. That you play in a chair. Yeah. So, you know, this one Asian girl was real pretty. Yeah. And she was kind of like doing like this. headbanging violin. So I go, she's going to win. She did win. And I don't even know why she was there because I didn't even hear her play. Oh, wow. You know, because they had like a string. You know how sometimes rock bands like Metallica and stuff will play with like a string quartet or orchestra and they had like horns and this whole orchestra played with the Foo Fighters. But it was weird because the Foo Fighters played. Then they kind of stopped, let the string section play, and then they kicked in again. And they let them play for, what, maybe 20, 30 seconds? And then they kicked back in. And so that chick who won was one of the, like, what, 40 people in the orchestra? Yeah, so it wasn't really her moment. It was the orchestra's moment that she kind of got to sneak in with. So we can listen to a couple seconds of that. That was cut 11.
They sound awesome. Oh, they sound great. You guys taking that violin? I can't hear it. So that was the Foo Fighters. I mean, it was cool. I just didn't really get it. I didn't get the whole my moment thing. It didn't really make a lot of sense to me. And then my only other question for you guys. I've never really heard of this guy before. I've vaguely heard of him. Do you know who Brad Paisley is? He's a country artist. Country, yeah. Have you ever heard of his song, Ticks? I don't know. Now, Ashley, you're the only one that listens to country music, really. Mikey kind of does a little bit, too. But you, right now, are the only one here that you've never heard of, Ticks. I would have to hear it, but it doesn't sound familiar. This is the stupidest song in the history of music. And he performed it last night on the Grammys. And the song is...
called tics because in the song the chorus is i want to check you for tics and he's singing it like to a lady what like he's so into her wow that's sexy he's so hot for this gal wow he wants to check her for tics wow romantic could you get any more redneck than that i mean that is that is so gross to me it's so stupid Oh, I couldn't believe what I was listening to. And I had never heard of it before. And I was sitting there and I went, huh? And then on the screen, Sean, they have in the background like little neon ticks running around. And you're like, first of all, who's into this? Who's going, yeah, you know, like that's hot. Like some chick is going, he wrote that for me. I love that song. Ticks. I have the song. Well, we have it too. I don't know. Why don't we do this? We'll take a break and when we come back we'll hear the great Brad Paisley perform Tix live and hopefully Mike will be back. And now, a love letter to the state of California from GEICO. Dear California, how do we love you? We can hardly count the ways. After all, there are over 36.4 million of you. And that's last year's census figures. But we all know that actions speak louder than words, which is why we at GEICO have lowered our rates on car insurance just for you. We love the way your face lights up when we save you money on car insurance. It's really quite breathtaking. And now we could be saving you even more. Sure, GEICO could have picked some other state, South Dakota, for instance. But you have a beauty that comes from within, and that kind of beauty money can't buy. Unless, of course, you're saving hundreds of dollars on car insurance. Yes, California, we've lowered our rates just for you, and we don't care who knows it. With warmest regards, GEICO. Check out our new lower rates at GEICO.com or call 1-800-947-AUTO. 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance. Been working out at Frogs Fitness since the beginning of the year, and I really enjoy working out there. It is a great place to work out. I'm a little concerned that my obsession with my new video game, Assassin's Creed, is going to take away from my workout schedule because right now I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip the gym. But I can't do that. I can't.
I know I can't. I know, Skye, but I really want to play my game. I can't wait to get home and play it. Well, that'll be your reward after your workout. But then... It'll motivate you. But listen, I only have a certain amount of time because then the wife gets home and she doesn't want to sit there and have to watch me play the video game. I don't know what this video game is all about. The best. It's awesome. Okay, but what if, like, say when you're on the treadmill, you pretend you're like the dude in the video game and you're like... What am I? 12 years old? And you're like running. Is this how you're going to speak to me now? You're the assassin. I'm like 12. You're the assassin. I wish I were the assassin right now. You got your creed and you're running. Okay, you don't know. Okay, no. No? That's not how it works? Whatever motivates you, Eddie. Here's the deal. That's what they need to come up with. A video game for the treadmill. Like a virtual... It doesn't have to be virtual. I can play while I'm doing my game. I'd like it to be virtual. And I wear some real stupid big 3D glasses. Exactly. Frogs Fitness, they don't have that, but they do have their own personal television sets right on whatever cardio equipment you use. They use the elliptical, the bike,
whatever uh treadmill they all you know you can watch whatever you want you don't have to have that community television where you know it's like cnn headline news like who can work out to that it's boring But not me, man. I put on whatever, you know, SportsCenter or whatever, and it's awesome. It motivates me. It keeps me going a little bit longer because I actually want to finish whatever program I'm watching. And it's all because Frogs Fitness is the best gym in San Diego. They've got five San Diego locations. Find one near you. Go to their website. Here we go. Save that clip. Sean. I'm a germaphobe. Boston Rob. It's a transient style that I've developed. And Ashley. Due to my carelessness, I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. We are still waiting to hear from Mikey. Hopefully he's got the tire.
This is the goofiest show of all time. It is hysterical. But, you know, things happen. You know, we're real people. And we're just waiting to hear if the AAA guy was able to hook him up. And hopefully he'll be back here in the studio in a second. It's 7 o'clock. The Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson movie, Fools Gold, was number one this weekend, making $22 million. So I told you that when we came back, we would listen to the dumbest song. in the history of music. Love it. And this is it. I'm telling you, like, I've never heard this song before in my entire life. I'm not a country music fan, but when I heard this song, my jaw was dropped. Like, and how dumb these lyrics are. And I'm so glad you brought this up because I watched the Grammys last night, but as soon as they're like, and Brad Paisley, I was like, okay, cool, time for a bathroom break, put on my PJs, brush my teeth. So I didn't see it. Oh, you didn't see this? No, I didn't see this. Well, be prepared. It is cut. Now, really pay attention to the lyrics. What is that? Is that popular? Was that a hit on country radio? Like, I don't know. And is it meant to be tongue-in-cheek? Or is he serious? I like how he, like, boosted it all up. Like, I'd like to take you and walk in the moonlight and, like, kiss you all over. No, no, no.
I want to take you for a walk in the sticks. Right. And then he wants to check her for ticks. Yeah, because when you're out there walking through the weeds. When you're in the sticks, you're going to get a tick in your hair and it's going to burrow in your head. And then what is he going to do? Is he going to take a lighter and burn it out? Well, yeah, that's what you got to do. Like if your dog gets a tick, you know, you got to be real careful because then the head sometimes can be like burrowed into your skin and you can break it off. And then don't you get Lyme disease or something? Yes, it is. Picks carry Lyme disease, which is always sexy and romantic. Like I could I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it. I'm like, is it me? That's just weird, too, because he's like a huge country artist. Brad Paisley. He's huge. Now, the only thing that I... Oh, there he is. Thank God. Mike's back. Dude, what is up? It's our host. What happened? Did they fix it? Yeah, they towed it. Oh, really? Yeah, they towed it. Oh, that sucks. Yeah, it needs to be worked on.
But the cool thing was is that Rob and I were listening to Brad Paisley in the parking lot. Dude. Inspired. What did you think of that? We started playing peekaboo with our jeans. That was really terrible. It's the worst song in the history of music. That was really terrible. Yeah. So that was at the Grammys last night. Well. Hi, Mike. Hi, guys. Settle in, buddy. Let's get this thing on the road. Strap in. Where did Oates go? There's Oates. There he is. Hey, can you hand me my bag? Sure can. My man purse. Merce. Oh, boy. My dad said that in Godfather 2. Merce. No, it was actually... Well, he did, and then Coppola said it's actually nurse. Yeah, it's not the line. So, anyway, so what were you doing? Listening to Grammy stuff? Yeah, just Grammy stuff. Was there any other good one that we could do while I get this thing plugged in? Maybe some of the Kanye? That was really good. Kanye was cool, but, I mean, it wasn't... Oh, we've got to listen to The Time performing with Rihanna. But I don't know. See, this is long, though. Like, they perform. Let's do this, then. I tell you what. 570-1053. Let's take calls, because that's one thing we didn't get to do this morning. So we'll break it up. Well, let's have Sean break that up, because I want to hear that.
The deal with the time. Yeah, we probably should. Let's have them break it up. Have them break it up a little bit so that we can hear it. And 5701053, we didn't do open phones, which we always do. And so call us, 5701053. And we'll do an open phone segment. See what you're doing, what you're up to, how your weekend went, what's new. And then, yeah, I want to hear this clip of the time playing with Rihanna. Lawrence, what was his name? Lawrence Day? Or what was it? Morris Day. Morris Day in the time. Morris Day in the time. And what did they do? Something about, oh, wee, oh, wee, oh. Yep, that's exactly it. What was his song called? Do we remember? Jungle Love. Jungle Love and The Bird and all those awesome tunes. I love Jungle Love. Let's see. Mikey Show, hello. Hello, Rob. It's Mikey. Hey, Mikey. What's up? Congratulations on making it to work on time. Oh, thank you. Thank you very much. Amy Winehouse, props to the Bush administration. We got 20 million illegal aliens in this country, and Amy Winehouse can't come into this country. What's up with that? Yeah, Amy Winehouse accepted a record of the year for rehab last night. Cut 22. I think Sean was breaking up. Sweater meat? Is that what they're saying? Yeah, they are. Thank you.
To everyone at Island Records. Everyone at EMI Music Publishing. To Ray Ray and Joe. To Mark Ronson and Salama and me. To my mom and dad. My Blake Incarcerated. And for London. This is for London. Holy. She sounds nice and fresh and clean. Help her. I heard she did two weeks and that was it. I heard she's done. I thought she was going back. I thought so too. I heard two weeks. Out and done. Unless I heard incorrectly. Did you hear she was going back? Because that's what I assumed. Well, I remember she left for the day last week when she went to try and get her visa so she could come to the Grammys. And they denied her visa and she went back that day. But maybe she, over the weekend, decided she was good. I don't know. I didn't read that. But that's crazy. You can't fight like a heroin crack addiction in two weeks. You can't.
For those of you that thought you could. No. You cannot. You need more time. Three weeks? Let's see. P1 Mikey. Mikey, are you there? I am. How are you today? Good, man. What's up? I was just listening and I heard the segment about I want to check you for ticks and I couldn't help but being reminded of the achy breaky heart. I've got nothing against country music, but some of their biggest songs just make absolutely no sense to me. Yeah, the lyrics in country music are very different from most lyrics. And a lot of times they have to do with infidelity. And if it's not about infidelity, a lot of times it's about drinking some beers. And still other times it is about getting your butt kicked. It's not a lot of guessing when it comes to lyrics from country music. It's true. It is what it is. They're very clear.
About what they're saying. And P1 Gunslinger says it's supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. Is that right, Gunslinger? Yeah, it's a real tongue-in-cheek song. That's the thing about Brad Paisley. Some of his songs are real off-the-wall, tongue-in-cheek, ha-ha type songs. We're supposed to know that? Pretty serious. Yeah, Mainstream America, I don't think, knows that. It is a goofy song, but it makes people laugh. What an odd choice. Hey, thank you for the call. So, his... particular fans get it. They get the joke. The rest of America was looking at the TV like a German shepherd with its head to the side. So bizarre. So let's... Okay. So now I feel normal. Because now I'm in here and I'm feeling normal. So let's start the show and get this sucker rolling, man. We got plenty to do. Why don't we come back and do something that people may or may not be familiar with called the Dumb Chick Cam. Wait. I think you need to settle in. Which is really great. This is really great. This dumb chick challenge. What this is, is we take Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. We ask them just regular questions. Who's the vice president of the United States? That kind of deal. And the person that gets to five points the quickest wins. See, who's the vice president of the United States would be a good example of a one-point question. They get to choose between one, two, and three-pointers. Like a three-pointer would be...
What is the capital of the state of Michigan? That might be a three-pointer. Because they'd be like, oh boy, I don't know. That's a tough one. Denver. That's incorrect. So, if you want to pick a horse, 570... San Antonio, my... Is he? Hey, Kevin, dude. I'm here. 570-105-105. It's Mikey. Guaranteed fresh or we'll brew it new. Guaranteed fresh or we'll brew it new. Rick, uh, anyone know what's wrong with Rick? You know 7-Eleven's coffee guarantee? Where they'll brew you new coffee? That's the one. Old Rick here thought it'd be funny to see if they'd really do it. I guess they did. Yeah, like a hundred times. Introducing the fresh coffee guarantee from 7-Eleven. If your cup's not fresh and full of flavor, we'll brew it new for you, no matter how many times you ask. Guaranteed fresh, fresh with new. Oh, thank heaven. At participating stores. 1053 traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Other rides getting a little bit tougher out here, especially out of the North County, down this coastline on South Point 5. Pretty backed up now as you come out of Lucadia. Pretty solid down to Manchester. South 15 has got some stuff to deal with here out of Escondido from the 78 on down to Via Rancho Parkway. Maybe a bit of a glitch in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Really not too bad. Nothing out of the ordinary, rather. Westbound 52, starting to see a bit of a slowdown coming out of Santee now as you head up to top of the summit. Your West 8 ride this morning coming out of the East County. You're looking pretty good to around Spring Street. From there, it slows down a bit towards Lake Murray before it lets you loose out of La Mesa. The West 94 King Freeway. That's also bunching up here a little bit from College Avenue all the way to pretty much the Kelton Road area here. And then you've got both the 5805 northbound out of the South Bay. Hasn't been too bad here this morning. Probably the 5 are the worst of it. And that's just a brief delay just past that South Bay Freeway. 805 has a minor slowdown again out of Kearney Mesa. This report is brought to you by, what was it again? Never mind, I'm Rick Lawrence and I'm going to 5-3. Mikey Show. Yeah, hey, it's P1 Donnie V. What's up, dude? How you doing? I just had to call and say thank you, Mikey. It took me about six months to make the call, but I finally got off my tail and did it, and I saved $1,700 a year with AIS. That's awesome. I love hearing that. That's a lot of money. You saved $1,700? Yeah, I mean, that was incredible. Cut my bill in half.
Who was your insurance before? And who did they get you? You know, they got me Infinity. See, this is the deal. This is what people need to understand. When you call AIS, they have 30 different companies that they're shopping for you. See, that's the thing. We used to have State Farm. We didn't know from what other insurance company. We just had State Farm, that's all. We didn't call 30 different places. AIS does that for you instantly and gives you the best deal. Well, I'm glad, dude. I'm glad you saved that much money. Hey, I just had to call and say thank you, so I appreciate it. You got it. 1-800-777-48IS. The Cricket Wireless Studio. That's who I am as a guy. That's who I am. Yeah, but I don't... He doesn't like to hurt people's feelings. KIOZ San Diego's Rock. The Mikey Show continues, featuring Mikey. If everybody's going one way, a lot of times I like to go the other. Eddie. I'm me.
Most times suffer from delusions of grandeur. Sky. I've never been to a math house. You have. Floss a minimum of three times a day. Boston Rob. Mariah Carey told me to shave my dreaded seatbelt. Ed Ashley. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to The Mikey Show. It is... 718. A woman was stabbed five times outside UTC yesterday. This is a bit of a shocker. Jim Zorn has been named the new Washington Redskins head coach. Wow. Weird. All right. The deadline was today to get those M2 videos in, so you better start sending them in. If you were making a video to promote the Mikey Show and it's three minutes or under, put it on YouTube. Send it to us. Top five are going up later today. And...
We're going to open up the voting for all you P1s, and the best video promoting The Mikey Show is going to win a brand new high-definition camcorder. Awesome! We're going to be doing something very interesting next hour called Ask Mikey. It's back in a different way, and we're going to tell you all about it in a minute. Oh, yes! Exercise in the substantiation of mental acumen. The Mikey Show presents a somewhat elastic moiety called... Dumb Chick Challenge. I think we all need this. Yeah, I think so too. Yeah, it's been a stressful morning. I was broken down on the side of the road and I had to get my car towed. But now that the Dumb Chick Challenge has begun, I suddenly feel like I'm back. You're alive again. I'm alive again. It's breathed life right into me. It's fantastic. So this is the way that it works. You call us at 570-1053 and you are going to pick a horse is what we call it.
You're either going to pick Sky or Ashley or Boston Rob to represent you. Out of the three of them, who do you think stands the best chances to get you a win? Eddie, what is the prize today? We got a great prize. We got tickets to the WWE that's coming to San Diego. I believe it's next Tuesday. It'll be here, and they'll be taping live SmackDown and ECW here in San Diego. Is that kind of rare? Do they do that in San Diego all the time? Once every, like, six months to a year. There you go. So it is kind of rare. And plus we got a free pay-per-view also for No Way Out this Sunday. There you go. So you're getting quite a WWE package here. So 5701053, pick your horse. P1 Navy Doc is on the line. Who do you want, Navy Doc? You want Ashley? Oh, look at that. There you go. Ashley, that's got to make you feel good. It really does. First round draft pick. It has to. I mean, I don't really know why, but it really means a lot to me. That's awesome. Thanks. P1 Twiggy? I would like Sky. There you go. Yeah, Twiggy. Rob is being taken last. Well, he's been kind of dumb lately. That's true. That is true. Ever since the Patriots lost. That's right. Sucked the brains right out of him. All that NyQuil he's been taken. That's true, too. P1 Cameron, are you there?
I'm here. You get B-Rob, okay? I lucked out. All right. There you go. All right. So the way that the game works is one, two, three-point questions. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. First person of five wins for their caller. So Sky will begin this time. Boston Rob started last time. Sky has a system. Switch it up. You can tell. She doesn't know what to do. You are ridiculous. What do you want? You want a one, two, or three-point question, Sky? I mean, really? Really? I thought you might want to... It's got to give you the option. Yeah, I've got to give you the option, and I thought you might go out on a limb and say... No, Mike, I would like a two-pointer. All ones. Oh. Skye's system, as she usually goes, 2.2.1. It's annoying. It's awesome. It works for her. Well, no. She'll usually get to... She'll get one two-pointer, and then she'll consider, should I do a three? Well, it depends how the other players are doing. I'm so demon. I don't know. You know what I mean. No, I don't know what you mean. What did I do, Eddie? Sky, your two-point question is... Yeah? Which president... Oh, man. Oh, no. It's over. I mean, it's over. Passed. Already passed. Really? She already has given up. Really? A history question. Great. Sky, which president is the NASA Space Vehicle Launch Center named after in Florida? The NASA Space Vehicle Launch Center.
You should know this as an American. The NASA Space Vehicle Launch Center in Florida. What president? Taft. I keep thinking. Isn't that the Taft building? Yeah, I love that. I keep thinking Cape Canaveral, but that's not a president. President Canaveral. President Canaveral, yes. President Cape. I believe he was the 74th first. Yes, the 71st president of the United States was President Cape Canaveral. Oh, Kate, your lunch is ready. Kate? President Space Shuttle, Mike. I will say Kennedy. You got it, Scott! Kennedy Space Center, you ever hear of it? No, never. I never have. I haven't. I took a guess. It was a good one. It was a great one. That was awesome. All right, Ashley. Yeah? Ashley, would you like a one, a two, or a three-point question? Ashley's a resident, you know, blonde. So what is she going to do? She's looking at Eddie. And I just got my roots done. Oh, no. That does make it worse. It doesn't. She's blonder. Yeah. She's going to go with a two-pointer. You got it. Somewhere right in the middle. All right, are you ready?
Your two-point question is, I shot rings out in the Memphis sky are the lyrics from a U2 song called Pride, which is an homage to what American icon? It's a great question. Yeah. It's a great question. I shot rings out in the... Why are you laughing, Sean? Excuse me. Let me redo the question because I said it kind of strangely. You messed it up. Well, I'm reading these for the first time. Usually I try to go through the questions. and I'm reading this, you know, kind of... I'm sorry, Ashley. I'm sorry he's doing that to you. That's kind of... Ashley's sipping coffee from the stirrer. This really doesn't faze me. Which means... From the stirrer. Yeah, from the, you know, the straw stirrer. If you drink...
coffee from a straw, then your teeth don't get as, you know, black from the coffee. So it helps your teeth to stay white. You know how when people drink coffee and their teeth are jet black. Well, but it does cause your teeth to get, you know, It's like looking at tar. It's like they ain't a road. It's like, hey, you drink a coffee, you're doing meth over there. Exactly. Hey. Did you just have a cup of coffee or did a pen break off in your mouth? Are you chewing on an Apache tear? What? Okay. What? Okay. Wow. Ashley drinks coffee this way and smokes cigarettes. So they counteract. Irony? Irony? So they counteract. She doesn't use her teeth, Mike. When she smokes, she removes her teeth. I smoke through a straw, Mike. I actually, Mike, I stick the cigarette down my throat so it avoids the teeth. Avoids the teeth. That's not the only thing. Okay. Who said that? Who said that? Okay, let me give you the question one more time, Ash. A shot rings out in the Memphis sky.
are lyrics from a U2 song called Pride, which is an homage to what American icon? How does that part of the song go? Shot rings out in the Memphis sky. Let's make a deal with each other. Hey, was Bono in the room? Exactly. You're welcome. What's really interesting is I've heard that song a million times. And when he did that, I still can't remember. Like, he didn't jog it. One more time, Rob. A shot rings out in the Memphis sky. That is really bad. It didn't move anything in my mind. I'm thinking president, who maybe used to be in Texas. President Canaveral. Not Texas.
Memphis, Tennessee. It's a trick question. Wait, Memphis, Tennessee. Oh. President Memphis. Memphis, Tennessee. Martin Luther King? You are correct. You are awesome, girl. Whoa. But he's not a president, though. Yes, he was. Mike, remember? He was a black president. It was so sad. He was as sad as our first black president. No, you know, I got confused because I thought Memphis was in Texas. Once I realized it was in Tennessee, I remembered Martin Luther King's. There you go. It all came together. Well done. It all came together. It isn't. But well done. Thank you. Rob. Everybody's been getting twos correct, so give me a three. Wow. This guy's going for it. Makes perfect sense. Thank you. Eddie, if he doesn't know this one, it's going to bother me. It's going to bother me. I'm just being honest. It's going to bother me. I don't like when you have his questions.
Yo, please, please, please. He actually could with this question. Oh, please. All right, Rob. Your three-point question is, which great jazz musician had the nickname Satchmo? He's got a giant smile on his face. He just smiled. Because right away something came to my mind, but every time I do that, I get it wrong. I was going to say Forrest Whitaker. I don't know why, but... It just came to my head. It just came to my head. So, you know, the guy with the messed up eyes. Yeah. Satchmo. I want to say Satchmo is Louis Armstrong. You are correct. Wow. Look at you. He knows his jazz. He knows his jazz. He does. Rob. So good. All right, Skye. Here we go. Come on, Squay. Here we go. Skye. We got a game here, Squay. She's got that look on her face like... She does it every time. Give me a minute here, guys. Well, I see... Think this one through. I see... There's a lot going on here. Maybe I'll get the same question. I still won't know it. Because now Rob on his next turn can win with a two point. That's right, Skye. Get it in your head. Now, wait a minute. I'm considering the last two questions. Mike, can I have a black person question too? I'll take black guys for 40. African Americans are 200, Mike.
Guys, I dig for 200. No, Rob's dumb. BJ Singh, Mike. Stop it, no. Al Roker? No, Rob's really dumb, so I'll take a two-point. Two-point question. I'm going to beat you this next round. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Guy. What up? I got some kadunk on this one for you. I hope so, dude. Used in the Gulf War. What was the name of... Uh-oh. Sky just... When was that war? Stupid history. 1812. She shot her head up as soon as I said Gulf War. Like, wait a second. I thought you said... Used in the Gulf War. What was the name of the missile that shot down Iraqi Scud missiles? Gulf of Mexico? The name of a missile? Oh, Sky. Sky, as soon as I say this... You can get this one. Wow, that should be a one-pointer. Okay, well, there's something that came to mind. You know the answer. It's in your head. But I don't know if this is it or what you're looking for, but it's the only thing that's coming to mind. So I'm going to say it's a heat-seeking missile. I'm guessing by any laughter that that's not the right answer. Well, here's the deal.
We're going to have people that will call us and say, well, now, wait a minute, guys. That is not the name of the missile. That is not the name of it. That is the name of the missile. That may be a type of missile. That is the name and the type. Essentially, that is what this missile does. Thank you, Mike. However, that's not what we're looking for, Scott. Put it on the board. Why don't you say missile then? Yes. Well, because there's different kinds, Eddie. Some are cold-seeking, some are heaters. They're named different. You know the cold-seeking missiles. They had to get rid of the cold-seeking missiles because they kept shooting igloos out of the sky. Polar bears. Ice cream sundaes. What? What is this stupid missile called? It's the Patriot missile. You've never heard of that? No. Honestly? For real? I mean, you were alive in the 90s, right? Do you know what I was doing during the Gulf War? I was in diapers, for goodness sake. No, I was not. Hiding in a bathtub with a mattress over me. I was super glued to a bong. Wow. Wow. Practically. I was stuck in a hide-a-bed, Mike. What do you want from me? Shut up. I was somewhere in a van. I was dealing with a sunburn. Really? Really?
Wiped the smile off her face. That one got her, Eddie. She didn't like that. It was easy. It was easy. All right, Ashley. Ashley, you look alert. You look alert. I think you're going to do well. Whatever you pick. She's giving Eddie that look like, really? Did I mention I got my re-tweet done? Because Rob has three, huh? Yeah. Give me three. Oh, go for the win. Three-pointer. A three-pointer. All right, Ash. Your three-point question is, what is the name of JFK's daughter? Who is JFK's daughter? She's got big eyes. Her eyes are big right now. She's mouthing things. What's JFK? Maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife. Maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife. Maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife is what... I do need a name. I do need a name.
You know the lady upstairs. Mira Schiavo. What is it? Mira Schiavo. No. Ashley. That's awful. I can't believe you. I am that. I can't believe you. I am that. I am the answer. I would not. Is it Jane F.K.? Is it possible that he named his daughter John F. Kennedy Jr.? Yeah. Yeah, I don't think. I think I would know that because the only female that I know is that woman who's close to Oprah and married to Arnold and her name's like Mira. Mira. You're thinking of Maria Shriver. Yes. Yes. No, that's not it. No, his daughter's name is Caroline. Caroline Kennedy. Sweet Caroline. Sweet Caroline, yeah. Even who cares. Why does that matter? It doesn't affect my personal life. What did she do or what? She was his daughter.
Right. Which is the question. She inspired the song Sweet Caroline. That's right. She did. Neil Diamond wrote the song Sweet Caroline, which we said here on the show about a month ago. It was revealed that that's who Caroline was. The object of Neil Diamond's affection. Caroline Kennedy. Boston Rob. Two. Rob will take a two-pointer. Please wrap it up. All right. Rob, you can wrap it up here. Rob, you can wrap it up here by getting this one right. Your two-point question is, what was the name of the painter slash artist known for his paintings featuring scenes of American culture? And in his cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios, he created for the Saturday Evening Post magazine. Oh, man. Yeah, I can see those paintings right now. I stole a couple in my day. That's right, Mike. Picks of the pawn shop. Hold on. How long? I did like the poker playing dogs, right? No, no, no.
There's a rock in the name. There's rock. Chris Rock. Chris Rock, I believe. What do we got? Rock. Rock. The Rock. The Rock. Yeah, the Rock. Dwayne Johnson. Yeah, I believe it's his. Yeah, he does. Yeah, is this? Fraggle Rock. Oh, yes. Oh, jeez. The great Fraggle Rock. You're close. Oh, no. Rob, I need an answer. No. Rocky Balboa, Mike. No. Hold on. Come on, Rock. Oh, my God. This is going to kill me. I don't know. Rock, something rock. I'm sorry, Rob. Something rock fell. I'm sorry, Rob. I'm sorry. What is it? The answer is Norman Rockwell. Oh. I knew it. Played that song in the 80s. Somebody's watching me. That's right. Oh, man. Sky, you can do it. You're back in. You can do it right. You could have done the one point now and you blew it. at one point. I mean, I would have got the three point last time around. You can wrap this sucker up. Alright, I'm going to try for a three pointer. Again? You got it. Skye, what is it called when a senator speaks for as long as they wish on any topic they choose to try to obstruct the legislature? That is a filibuster. You got it! That's who it was. Remember Norman Rockwell? Yeah.
Twiggy. And Rob. Twiggy, congratulations. Thank you. Sky did it up for you. Don't go away. You're going to the WWE. Thank you. Now, don't go away. We are going to tell you all about our Valentine hotline coming up here in just a little bit. Still expecting Katie Daryl on the show from TMZ and all kinds of stuff, so don't go anywhere. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the ride's getting a little bit tough here on the coastal ride on Southbound 5. Heavy from right around La Costa. Pretty solid all the way in past the racetrack in Del Mar. There was an accident just before Del Mar Heights Road, which has been cleared out of the way, but not before it did the damage on that commute. Traffic remains in effect until things get back to normal pretty much.
South on some of the 15s. It's a heavy one this morning out of Escondido. Off to 78th of your Rancho Parkway. You've got stuff to deal with again from community on Norte on down to Poway Road now. In the Gajon Valley out towards East Main Street. Bunches up again from La Mesa Boulevard over the Grossmont Summit here out towards Fletcher Parkway. You've got the West 94. Somebody lost a tire. A couple of cars hit that full-on tire here right around, I think, Federal Boulevard on the King Freeway. That's why you're backed up from right around Lemon Grove Avenue all the way to that accident, and then so is again into downtown. And then you've got both the 5 and the 805 northbound getting tougher out of Chula Vista up to National City on both these freeways. 805 kind of scatters through North Park, bunched up again out of Pretty Mesa, heading up over that 52. It's a transient style that I've developed. And Ashley. I can't control my laughter.
I love it everything. On Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey show at 7.43. Keith Ledger's family held a private funeral for him this weekend in Australia. Kevin Garnett is going to miss the all-star game. He's going to be replaced by Detroit's Rasheed Wallace. I don't know if you heard this earlier. Roy Scheider is dead at the age of 75, which is a sad thing, man. We remember him from Jaws and, well, Jaws, but... Unless you're into the film Blue Thunder, where he played... What else was Roy Scheidt? Oh, he was also in the movie 2010. And I think that is the extent of... Wasn't he in the movie like... It was called like Cobra or something like that. Not Cobra, that was a Stallone movie. But he was in one where he played... He was kind of trying to be like a tough guy, and it was a name. I know he was a villain.
You know, action movie. I don't remember what it was. I'm about to IMDB him. He's good, Roy Scheider. He was. He's not with us anymore. But anyway, a little bit later on, we're going to be doing something. And I want to let you know about it so you can call in if you feel like it. We're going to do a advice segment called Ask Mikey. You just have to know what you're going to get. If you call in and you ask me for advice, just understand that who you're talking to is a guy that doesn't have any psychology degree. I don't have any psychology degree. I just read a lot. I never graduated from high school. I consider myself of average to slightly above average intelligence. So if you're calling, you have to know who you're getting. I'm a conservative Republican. I'm a Christian. So if you're going to ask me for advice, hopefully you're a person that listens to the show and you say to yourself, well, I think that the guy may... Have some wisdom that I want to have imparted to me. And so that would be the reason why you would call for a segment called Ask Mikey. I just want you to know before you ever call what kind of answer you're going to get based on the guy you're calling. You know who I am. But the reason I wanted to bring it back is because I get a lot of emails from people that ask me for my opinion on things and for my thoughts on things. And they say, I want to know.
specifically because you're this or specifically because you're this. And I said, yeah, we should probably bring this segment back. I'm also a recovering alcoholic. So I'm 37 years old. I have a 17-month-old son. I'm married. I've been married three years yesterday. So I got, these are my life experiences. And so taking that into account, you may go, you listen to the show on a regular basis. Yeah, I'd like to see what Mikey thinks about that. So a little bit later on, we're going to do Ask Mikey and you can call us and whatever it is, you're having a relationship issue or you're having whatever issue it is. And the reason that I really enjoy it is because I have found that it's a cool brain exercise. It's a cool spiritual exercise for me. I enjoy figuring stuff out. I love the process of going. what's right and what's wrong in my world. Everybody's got their own morality. Everybody's got their own right and wrong. And we'll just go right off the phones, man. You can call us when we do this segment a little bit later on. You could just call us and whatever it is you want to know about. And then hopefully you listening, you make up your own mind as you're listening to it. And you either go, oh yeah, I'm on board with that. Or no, I'm not on board with that. And you get angry or you get happy or you, whatever, whatever happens. So we'll have fun with it. We'll do it in a little bit. Meanwhile,
let's open up phone lines, 570-1053. And I don't care. We're just kind of getting, the show started a little late because I was, I had a flat tire this morning getting in late. And so because we're starting off late, we're kind of, you know, letting things happen the way they would normally happen. And part of that is you call in and talk about whatever you want. So 570-1053 is the number. Mikey Show, hello. Hello, Mikey. Hi. Hi, this is P1 Rachel. Hi, Rachel. How are you? Happy anniversary. Thank you very much. Three years to the same beautiful woman. We wrote each other really nice cards, and the card that she wrote made me bawl my eyes out. I didn't think I would say that on the air. Honestly, I wasn't going to admit that on the air, and I was so embarrassed. I was sitting in my office in a black robe by myself. It's real early in the morning. and I opened up her car, and I had just written her, and then I had hers from the night before. Craig Gass was over this weekend. So he's sleeping downstairs in the room that Sean sleeps in when he comes to stay. Yeah, Sean's room. And I'm up there, and I start reading this thing, and tears just start pouring out of my eyes, and I'm like, and I made a mental note. I will never admit this to anybody except my wife. And now I'm admitting it to everyone. I love it when you do that.
I bawled my eyes out. Oh, it was the nicest thing. It was the nicest thing I've ever read. Rachel, what's going on? I'm a little ticked off about something that happened this weekend. What happened? Well, my sister, my older sister, is almost four months pregnant. And we had a little family party this weekend. And they announced that it was going to be a girl. And they announced... what the name was going to be and she says that she's going to name her baby mckenna oh that's a beautiful name it is a beautiful name the thing about it is that was going to be my name for my first daughter and everybody in my family knows that she knows that so wait you haven't had it you don't have a kid or you do have no i'm single are you pregnant too no i'm not pregnant but the thing is it was It's known that when I have a baby, I want to name it McKenna. You call dibs. Wait, how is it known, though? Well, of course it's known. How? You guys know what I would want to name my first daughter McKenna. Yeah, yeah, yeah. From conversations you're saying that you've had before? Yeah, conversations I've had with my sister, conversations I've had with my mom. It's just, no, that's my name. That's my baby name. But you're not pregnant.
No, I'm not. That's not the point. Or even have a prospect of having a baby. Not even married? Nothing. You got nothing. That's not the point, you guys. I can tell Eddie has an opinion. Listen, my feeling on this is so strong. I have the strongest opinion hearing this. I believe that... A, I believe it's wrong. And B, I believe that the sister did it purposefully knowing it was wrong. Why would you do that? Well, wait. Clarify. I'll clarify. If the sister, what's your sister's name? Her name is Bryn. Okay. If Bryn did not feel she was doing anything wrong, she would have discussed it with you before making the announcement. Exactly. A hundred percent, no doubt in my mind. The reason she did it the way she did it was because she knew it was wrong and thought that if she did it in that public, everybody was probably like, oh. Oh, that's so sweet. You can't take that back after that. Yeah, and who can get mad at that point? I would have. Did you call her out? You would have called her out, Ashley, in front of everybody? I would have ruined the entire moment. Really? Happily. Happily. Oh, my gosh. I would have stopped her in her tracks. My sister, if she ever did this to me, stopped her in her tracks and said, Hey, Brittany, that's my name.
You all know that. What are you doing? Like, why would you do this to me? In front of the whole family? Absolutely. Tough love it is. Tough love. That's a low blow. You don't do that. Rachel, what did you do? I mean, honestly, like, what could I do? She did announce it in front of everyone. That's the first I heard it. The time that I heard it, you know, and I was pretty floored. And, you know, I wanted to get her and say something to her, but she was talking to everyone all the time. She gets all the attention now, which is fine, you know. Eddie, Skye, Sean, I want your best thoughts. I have a quick question. Go ahead, Skye. You know, I called her and I left her a message this morning saying, listen, we need to talk. But she's announced it, you know? So what do I say? Do I say, no, you can't name your baby that? Skye, what's your question? Well, what's your relationship like with your sister? Are you guys, like, best friends? Do you have, like, a catty relationship? What's the history? No, I mean, you know, you know how it is with sisters. Sometimes we're great, sometimes we're not so great. But it's been fine, you know? Okay. We're very different, but we love each other. Okay. Eddie, first of all. Eddie, don't. Don't, Eddie. First of all, I don't necessarily know or believe that it was known to everybody that that was your name and that's the name that you choose and that you give dibs on that name and all that stuff. Because if not, then that is kind of messed up. That's a good point. Your sister is messed up.
It is known. She definitely is. How? Did you put it on a chalkboard in your parents' house? This is going to be my daughter's first name and you can't have it and blah, blah, blah. Can you produce an email where you shared this with her? How is it known? I remember at least two times where we had conversations. What do you want to name your first baby if it's a girl? I want to name it this. If it's a boy, I want to name it this. And what happened when you said, I want to name it McKenna? Did she say, oh, that's a beautiful name. I like that name too. Yeah, she's like, that's so beautiful. And her first girl name was supposed to be Violet. Well, does the husband have anything to say about this? Did he? Maybe that's a family name. Oh, Eddie, you're stretching. I wasn't stretching. You have all those jacked up things about your goofy names. I am sitting here listening and I'm thinking to myself. She was going to name her kid Violet. Uh-huh. Heard the name McKenna. Duh. Went, ooh. Yeah, I love that. That is a good name. Oh, but she'll get mad. Wait a second. I know how we do it. We'll name her McKenna and we'll announce it to everybody. And then what's she going to do? Right. She's not Ashley. She's not going to say right in front of everybody that I'm a jerk. Calculated about it.
Oh, I believe she was absolutely that calculated about it. She knew exactly what she was doing. You don't know Brynn. She's not like that. Dude, I believe Brynn had a conversation with her husband where they were picking baby names, and she goes, well, my sister wants to name her first girl McKenna, and I love that name so much. Would it be horrible if you stole it? You know what? That was my grandmother's name. I would love that. I would love that. You guys are sitting here speculating. How come I can't speculate? Okay, was that a family name? Is McKenna a family name on any side, Rachel? No. How do you know? Have you spoken to Bryn's husband about it? Well, I'm sure they would have said when they announced it. Oh, well, this is his grandmother's name. Oh, I can't wait for Bryn to call you back. Oh, we're getting calls. I'm going to take calls with you on the line. Okay. P1 Heartless, you there? Yeah, P1 Heartless here. Go ahead. You can't place a reservation at a restaurant nine and a half months in advance, lady. If she doesn't have a kid already or if she's not pregnant, too bad. It's a common case of sibling rivalry. Ouch. Ouch. With any luck, her kid will come out all jacked up. Whoa! Bad karma. Bad karma. No, he's not safe. Exactly. Bad juju.
So he's saying, if I understand P1 Heartless correct, he's saying, listen, unless, you know, this is some sort of a restaurant where you have said, in the year 2012, I'm going to find a guy and I'm going to get married and we're going to have a baby. And this is what I mean. Unless you've done that. What is this dibs business? It's making a reservation and you're not even hungry. That's true. You're not even hungry. You're not even in the neighborhood of the restaurant. You don't even know where you want to eat. You don't even have a mouth yet. See, this is how it goes, people. This is how a good relationship works. I have a couple girl names picked out, right? If I ever have a baby girl. Ashley got her new puppy and wanted... one of those names for her puppy are you kidding me and when she said the name she knew no no no let me tell the story so when she said the name when she said the name i said oh ash you know that's one of the names that i was thinking of naming a girl if i ever have a girl and she goes oh well then i'm finding a different name like it was completely off the board it wasn't even a question huh question yeah
This isn't happening. Girls are insane. That is a good friend. For sure. I wasn't going to spell Skye's name for my dog. That's not fair. I forgot that she would have named her kid that. Skye? Yes. So you're telling me that there would have been strangeness if she had named her dog that name. Well, I wouldn't have been mad at her. Disappointed. But I would. But I'm so happy that she decided not to. You know what I mean? Well, that means that you would have been bummed. I kind of would have been like, oh, that would be weird, you know? But I mean, but I just thought it was awesome. It was above and beyond that she was that considerate. And that's how a friend should be. Can you say what the name was? Somebody will steal it, Mike, on planet Earth. We don't want anyone to steal it. Ashley's advising me not to say it. We don't want anyone to steal it. Who?
steals it. What if Brynn gets pregnant again? For real. What if Brynn's having twins? Jynx got me too, man. Screw that. No way. My best friend stole my wedding song, which is jacked, and I'm still pissed about that. It's not. You're going to write the song. I called it. I called the song, man. Wait a second. Rachel, I hate to break this to you. Rachel. I'm going to be the first person to tell you this, but I need to let you down lightly, sweetheart. There's already children named McKenna. How dare you. You can't run in the same circles with kids with the same name. Well, then we can say the name of the baby, the girl name that you would like because it's not. Whatever it is, I promise I won't take it. Fine. It's Leviathan. Now, if you name your daughter Leviathan... Leviathan! What? You want tough love. Tough love, are you there? Yeah, you know what? The lady on the phone, she's got to be Sky's sister. A total beating here. Wow! How dare you? Why? Tough love it is. Tough love. I'm on Sky's side with this one. What is she doing wrong? She's not married.
She's not pregnant. She's got nothing going on. Her sister, here is a name she likes, even if it's from a sister. She should be proud that her sister thinks it's a beautiful name. Her niece. P1 Tough Love. P1 Tough Love. Yeah, I'm here. Do you have a brother? I have two brothers, two sisters. Okay. Let's say that you told your brother that you got a brand new socket wrench and it's out in the garage and he took it from you. Would you be proud of him? Mikey, it's a totally different situation. Wait a second. It belonged to you. It belonged to you. She belongs a name? She owns a name? It's like a prospector. It's like a prospector. What? That's it. That's it. Hang on. Let me just explain my prospector analogy and then you can tell me what you think. The whole idea of prospecting is that you don't know if oil is there. But what you do is you put your flag down and you go... Here's where I'm going to check for oil. I'm claiming this spot. Okay, let's say there's no oil. There's no oil. You don't know. Let's just say. Let's just say there's no oil. You haven't checked it yet. Then what do we do? You haven't checked it yet. It is now your friend's responsibility to go, oh, you got that oil place? Okay, I'm going to check for oil over here. Oh, there's oil. I'm going to now call this Derek.
If Rachel was going through menopause, you would have an argument. If Rachel was going through menopause, you have an argument, Eddie. But she's not. So let's wait till then. Tough love. What do you think of that? I don't like this oil. Mikey, let's assume you want to go buy a new car. Yeah. And you told Eddie, hey, Eddie, this is an awesome car. I can't wait to get one. Eddie goes out and gets one first. Do you really care? Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes, I do. And let me tell you something. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Let me let me tell you something. When Eddie got the vehicle that he has now, I loved that vehicle. I really did. Now, this was before I have the vehicle I have now. But we were still in San Jose and I love that vehicle. And he said he was getting one. Soon as he said he was getting one, it's off limits. It's off limits. I can't get it. I can't get it because that would be weird. I wouldn't care if you did. No, Eddie. I would not care. My wife bought the exact same car I have. We both have the same car. You're in love. I'm in love with you. It's finally out there. It's finally out there. Hang on. Tough love it is tough love.
I'm telling you, I think that you would be upset too if your friend did this or your brother or your sister. If you announced that your beautiful wife was pregnant and that you guys decided that the name of the baby was going to be Sarah and your sister got pregnant and said, and family, we're going to name her Sarah. Beautiful name. That's a different situation. Okay, okay. Let me tell you what you said. I said it wrong. I said it wrong. I know I messed up. You said, if you said to your sister, man, you're sitting there talking about baby names because we all do. Say Sarah. I'm confused. You'd be upset. I need clarification. You'd be upset. Who's buying a car? Thank you. Thank you for the call. Rachel, I think that you should... No. Buy a car. Pick a new name. There's a billion. Get a Chevy. I know there's a billion, and that's why McKenna was special because it was... different and it wasn't like... Girl, find a better one and one-up your sister and then be like... Be sure and announce it. That's why a lot of people, they don't tell you what they're going to name their kid. Either that or you put out a decoy name. I like her. In other words, you say, I'm going to name her Cynthia and then you name her McKenna. Exactly. What's the point of that? What's the point? So she can't steal it. I know, but when you do that, don't you seem strange? Yes. We decided at the last minute to get your name. Well, if you have a shady sister.
For real. Bren is not shady. Bren, dude, is all about the shade. I think Bren is a good person. I think Bren is trying to destroy you. Thank you for the call, Rachel. All right. Thank you, guys. In fact, I, like, was hoping that you would have asked me out, like, a long time ago. It was kind of like, but you never, like, sent me any kind of vibe that made me, like, I didn't even know if you were available because you just seemed, like, so off limits. But, yeah, no, I totally think you're cute. And, you know, yeah, yay, you're tall. I think you might be cute.

Really? It was a great game. It was a lot of fun. When I came back, because I left for a while, when I came back, there was like a T.O. touchdown that I missed. You missed the weirdest touchdown ever. What happened? Oh, Jeff Garcia to Terrell Owens. Wow. No way. Yeah. That is weird. It's creepy. That is crazy. Do we have Katie Darrell on the line? I believe so. This is the TMZ Report with Katie Darrell.
I'm sure there's a lot of stuff going on this weekend. Hey, Katie. Hey, how's it going, everyone? Yo, yo, yo. Yo, yo, yo. How are you getting gangster on me now, Eddie? Photo reels. That's right. What up, dog? Hey, guys, so listen to this. Did anyone get a chance to check out that Jesse Metcalf video? Yeah. I didn't. No, and in fact, me and Eddie just looked at each other like, who's Jesse Metcalf? But Sky knows what you're talking about. That was John Stamos' character on Full House, right? Oh, no. He's from Desperate Housewives. Oh, wait a minute. Wasn't that who Elizabeth Berkley played on Saved by the Bell? Isn't that her character? That's just Jesse. Just Jesse, I gotcha. Okay, so who is this guy? Okay, so he was the gardener on Desperate Housewives, the guy that was having the affair with Eva Longoria's character in season one. I know who you're talking about. And he was also in, come on, what was that movie where he was like... Everyone down with John Tucker. I want to kill someone who must die. Yes. Everyone down with John Tucker. Okay. John Tucker. It's close. So anyway, so that's Jesse Metcalf, all right? Okay. And Jesse was out. I'm so lost. Doing the club scene and everything. Okay. And he was hanging out with a group of people. Two of the people in this group was a guy named Mams. As far as we know, that's his real name, but we're looking.
to it. So Mams and then his girlfriend, Taryn Manning. This is getting so strange. It's getting really weird. Mams, Manning. So I guess Jesse Metcalf, I know there's another M, was hitting on Mams' girlfriend, Taryn Manning. And you know, this other dude, Mams, was not into it. So all of a sudden he just like sucker punches Jesse. I mean, full on just hits him right in the eye. This is videotaped? Yes, TMZ, they were outside of the club, and TMZ was rolling. Oh, my goodness. Were you rolling when it actually happened? Yes, you actually see the punch, and you see Jesse hit the ground, and then he bounces back up like a man. I mean, like, he really, like, he takes it, and it's kind of like, I mean, if this was a cartoon, he really would have the stars and the birds and all that going around in circles. I mean, it was a real cuckoo moment. Oh! So what happened? Did he hit back or what happened? No, so then it becomes one of those like, oh, hold me back. I'm going to get him. I'm going to get him type of moment. And this Mams character goes back in the club and is escorted through the back door out via security. So he gets kicked out. And wait a minute. Let's one more time. Who is Mams? Like, what's his claim to fame? Mams is a wannabe rapper. That's it. He's no one yet. His claim to fame is that he's dating the actress Taryn Manning from 8 Mile. Okay.
Okay. Which one was she in 8 Mile? What character? Do we know? Okay, there were two girls. There was Brittany Murphy and then there was the other girl that was doing Eminem. She was the other girl. She's the other girl? Yeah, she's the non-Brittany Murphy one. These are like not big stars. No. No, they're not. They're not. Okay. And so, yeah, so Jesse totally gets clocked in the face. And, I mean, when he pops up, like, his eyes are already swelling and, like, closing and just getting black and blue right then. So you see this all in the video. And then what we're being told is that that night, Jesse, like, you know, left the scene of the crime and, you know, like, after getting punched in the face. and not getting to retaliate and fight this man's guy. But then, like, he went on the hunt all weekend trying to find him. But as far as we know, they never actually found each other. And so a second rumble never happened. So the big question is, you know, will they, like, run into each other perhaps this week or next weekend and another rumble will be happening. So TMZ is definitely tailing both of these guys to see if another fight ensues. Okay. I know, I know. Well, you can see all the video. The important thing is, the moral of the story, kids,
Go to TMZ.com and look at the video. All right. Stay there for the TV show tonight to see more about it. And what else happened? Well, have you heard about this Kat Von D story? She's the tattoo artist from LA Inc. Yeah, that one, I know who she is. Yeah, this is interesting because she used to be on Miami Inc. And apparently when she left Miami Inc. to then start up LA Inc., someone gave an autographed picture to the Miami Inc. people on behalf of Kat. said, hey, Kat signed this picture and wanted you to have it now that she's got her own TV show. So it's a picture of Kat, and it has her autograph on it, and then it's got a flaming star, David, and a swastika. All these anti-Semitic things, right? And so it was a big question of, you know, oh my gosh, why would she do this? Is she crazy? Was she trying to be funny? And it just didn't come off right. Well, TMZ caught up with Kat Von D this weekend, and she said, absolutely not true. That was a forged photograph. She didn't do it. Anyone that says she did is totally lying. When she heard about it, she almost threw up herself and that she would never do something like that. So tearing up some gossip, it was not her that did that. Now, Katie, did you hear anything to that story about the fact when, what is it? Is it TLC that airs that show? Or what network airs that show? I think it's TLC. Okay, well, anyways, that when they got wind of this, they had the handwriting tested.
Did you hear anything about that? No, I didn't. I didn't. But, you know, I was drunk this weekend. Oh, wow. Again, that explains it. Yeah. Well, interesting. Yeah, because I heard that they did have the handwriting tested and that it came back that it was hers, but they were trying to keep it under wraps. It could definitely be her autograph, but it doesn't mean that she made the drawings. Oh, like she autographed and then somebody added the stuff to incriminate her. Oh, that makes sense. There's a lot, and I mean, like, how did someone, I'm sure someone could test my MNOPs to see if they're mine, but I don't draw a lot of swastikas, so they don't have a lot to compare my handwriting on when it comes to that. Right. Or my Star David, so I can imagine that being difficult. Yeah. Good point. And then, oh, did you guys see, I love this, Lindsay Lohan, she dyed her hair back. No. No longer blonde, so she went back to kind of her roots. I know she's originally, you know, kind of the redhead, so she went to, like, that dark brown, like, with that real pretty, like, auburn tint in it.
It looks good, you guys. It looks really good. Is she with a guy right now? What's the latest with her? You know what, there's actually, we were talking about that in the morning meeting this morning here at TMZ, that she's rolling around with some of the old thugs in her life that she had hung out with way back before she went to rehab the first time, second time, and third time. And so there's a lot of speculation as to, like, you know, is she perhaps going back down that path? Will we see a relapse? Will she, you know, fall off the wagon again? Is she surrounding herself with the best people that she could be surrounding herself with? That is whack. She's hung out with a lot of guys. There was, you know, I guess she was over in Europe like three or four weeks ago, and there were, like, photographs of her kissing three different guys. You know, it doesn't mean she slept with them. Who are we to judge, I guess? Plus, Zeth has been seen in a bunch of pictures with her, so we know Zeth from our show has been hanging out with her. That's true. So, who else? That is bad. Well, cool. All right, well, I have a question. Eddie has a question. Okay, Eddie. Go for it. Katie, I watch TMZ every night.
What is the story with that dude with the long hair? Does he have mental problems or something? What is his deal? He bashes everybody. You know what? In all honesty, at first I was like, is he a douchebag? It turns out his name is Max. He's our surfer dude. He really is just surfer dude Max. He's kind of like a Spicoli character. He kind of doesn't know better. He really is. He's like Phoebe from Friends, okay? He's daring. He's nice. He's fun. He's a sweet guy around here, but kind of opens his mouth and inserts foot every day. Skye has a question. Skye. Oh, well, I didn't mean, I didn't want you to cut her off, but was that all about Spicoli? Was that what? All about Spicoli? Never mind. She had a question, and so I was going to the question, and Sky said, oh, I didn't know if you were done telling the story about him. Did you get everything out about him?
Yeah, that was all about it. So you said that you were drunk this weekend, and I know you're in L.A., right? Yeah. So were you at any of the Grammy festivities? Was there any, like, behind-the-scenes stuff? No, I wish I had juicy gossip like that. No, I was hanging out with a bunch of industry people, though. I have friends that work over at Extra Extra. Oh? So some of us TMZ kids went and hung out with the Extra Extra friends, and we just hung out. They don't frown upon that, right? Well, what's interesting is TMZ used to be in the same building as Extra because it's the same telepictures family. So although there's a little bit of competition between everyone, the people themselves are very friendly because we're all in the same building and, you know, kind of all in the pit together. Have you ever met Mark McGrath? That's that guy like. You're looking in person, you guys. I don't get starstruck really that often, but there are a few people, like, when I met him, I was like, ooh, mommy like ye. Sugar Ray? I know he was like, every morning. Mommy wants some Sugar Ray. Yeah, put on that in my coffee. He's very handsome. He's very nice. The first time I met him, you know, just a little introduction. And the second time I met him, he remembered my name. And I'm always impressed with that. That is hard to do. That is really hard to do.
Jason Daly was the same way when I used to work at MTV. You know, the first time I met him and then like two months later bumped into him again and he remembered the name. So I'm always impressed by that. Now, who are we talking to again? This is who on the phone? Katie, I'm telling you, I can't remember names to save my life. Like literally, I cannot remember any names. So that's a gift. When somebody's able to do that, that is really cool when they're able to do it. I kind of blame myself sometimes for not remembering because I have this weird thing that I do meet a lot of people that I kind of ignore names the first two times that I meet someone. If I meet you three times, then I'm kind of like, ooh, I probably need to figure this one out, but it's already at the awkward stage because I meet you three times. Katie Daryl is from TMZ. I'm going to tell you about Amco because you may have an issue with your transmission. You need an oil change. You need your brakes, your tune-up, your cooling system, any of those things going wrong with your car. You got a check engine light on your car. Amco is a place to go. And the reason is because if you take it to the dealership, they're probably going to try to take you for an arm and a leg. They're going to say, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, yeah, you need an oil change, but you probably need to do this and you need to do this because, hey, that's the deal. That's what happens. Or you go in there because your brakes are done. And they say, yeah, you don't just need brake pads. I think we better replace the rotors, too. And if something's wrong with your transmission, first of all, you've got to get an appointment. So that's why you go to Amco. No appointment necessary. They get you in there. They get you out. They don't want to fix what isn't broken. And they also don't want to replace. They want to fix. So Amco, check them out. They are double A-M-C-O. Thanks for picking the Mikey Show. Featuring Mikey. In fact, I have an area of my nose that is most enjoyable to pick. It's the top of my nose. And so he had to be hospitalized and had that thing sewn up. He's in stable condition right now. Imagine seeing that at a hockey game. Oh, no, thank you. Good. Rider Strike is almost over in case you were interested. They're making a lot of headway with that. get those m2 videos in here man if you're making a video to promote the mikey show three minutes or less is what it needs to be and you get it up on youtube then send it to us and then we're going to start that voting uh later on today people are going to have this you're going to see your top five available today let's do this we do this segment called ask mikey do not get into the industry i'm no psychologist what you're asking for right now is the health and well-being of your daughter pray about it it's
But we all have a job to do. To ask Mikey. This is mine. It's an interesting thing because I am a very different kind of individual. Some people out there I'm sure relate and go, okay, I got a similar story. That may be the deal. But I didn't graduate from high school. I read a lot. I'm not a psychologist. 37 years old. I'm a born-again Christian. I'm a conservative Republican. I'm a recovering alcoholic. I'm very honest. And I may or may not have wisdom to impart to you. If you listen to the show, you might go, you know what? I've listened to you before and I've heard you give your opinions on certain things. And some of the times you give your opinions on stuff, I'll agree with it. So I'll consider taking your advice. Now, I'll say this about my advice. It's only worth what it costs. You know, it's free. And so you could take it or leave it. It's just one man's opinion.
You hear it and you may go, okay, that sounds reasonable to me. Or you may hear it and go, well, I think you sound out of touch, brother. Are you limiting to anything or is it just whatever you want? Any kind of advice? Anything you want. Relationships or anything. You know, all you got to keep in mind is know who you're getting. P1 Derek, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mikey. How are you doing? Good, man. What's your issue? Well, this happened to me. This is going on about a week and a half now. uh my girlfriend well now my ex we were together for about a year and a half and we lived together for seven months and she when i first started dating her she was up from orange county and everything so i would drive up on the weekends and everything and hang out with her and then she decided that it was getting a little too tough having like a long distance and stuff and she was going to move down here to go to school anyways so she ended up moving down here and everything you know i thought was fine and dandy and all that stuff once in a while we would have Like little arguments over really stupid stuff, but in a relationship, who doesn't argue once in a while? Then last Thursday, actually a week, it'll be two weeks this Thursday, didn't hear from her all day long. It's odd because she's not that type of person. She would always be like texting me during work or calling me. She would call me every morning when I woke up, when she woke up to say good morning and all that stuff. Well, that day I didn't hear from her, so about middle of the day I decided to give her a call.
because she was supposed to be at work anyway, so I wanted to make sure she was up. And she didn't answer the phone, so I tried our house phone and all that stuff, and still no answers. So I was like, all right, well, maybe she's late for work or something. But still, no phone call, no text message or nothing. And all day, didn't hear anything from her. Came home from work, and she was gone along with all her stuff. She left me a note on the counter that said, I'm sorry, this relationship is going nowhere, and we both know it. I have to go home. Please don't call me or come to my house. If you find anything on mine, please donate it or throw it away. And that's the last thing I ever heard from her. So what is your question? I'm trying to figure out what to do. I've tried to call her a couple times. Basically, my thing is I'm trying to figure out why in the world a girl would do this when everything seems fine and she's just up and left. Well, I would say that your clearest indication as to what is... going on with that is what's happened in the recent past. You know, I had the exact same thing happen to me. Exact same thing happened to me with my now wife. I got home from a trip and the wedding ring was on the counter with a note saying, don't call me and it's over and blah, blah, blah. Okay. Now, when I think about it, I put
I played a gigantic role in her making that decision. I played a big, giant role in it. I was guilty of a few things. Now, I'm not saying that my things are the things that you're guilty of, but certainly, this is what I don't believe. I don't believe if you say, I don't know why she did this. I don't believe it. I believe that somewhere in there, you know why she did it. Either you guys have been fighting about... What is her biggest complaint about you? What do you fight the most about? She tried to say that I was always trying to check up on her and stuff. Wait, she tried to say that or you always tried to check up on her? No, no, no, no, no. See, that was my thing. I wasn't at all trying to check up on her in the least little bit.
But she would say that because my job sometimes can be pretty boring. So if I'm sitting around at work, I'll give her a call and say, hey, what's up? What are you doing and stuff? But I say that to everybody I call, whether it be friends. Something's missing, bro. Something's missing. Because I'm telling you, if a guy calls a girl because he's bored at work and he says, hey, what's going on? That doesn't translate into what you're checking up on me. Unless you're doing it in a way that you're not telling me right now. Unless you're doing it in a way that is not the way that you're describing it. Be honest. Be honest. That's honestly exactly how it happened. And she would get mad at me sometimes and she would be like, why are you always calling me to check up on me and stuff like that? And I've sat her down and I've explained to her exactly why. Why don't you stop doing it? If you're bored and it makes her uncomfortable, why don't you stop doing it? I don't know. I mean, here's a situation where you know. That your boredom leads to phone calls to her, which lead to, I don't like that you're doing this. It feels like you're checking up on me. And you continue to do it. Which sounds to me like you're checking up on her. Which sounds to me like you don't trust her. I had all the trust in the world in her. Okay. Well, somebody got a note saying, I'm out of here. And don't call me no matter what. And that doesn't happen for no reason. I don't care who the guy is.
It doesn't happen for no reason. And if it does happen for no reason, I mean, if things are going good, if things are really awesome, and all of a sudden you come home and your wife split, you really got to look at the wife or the girlfriend or whatever and go, does she have a mental problem? Like things are going great, but she just left out of nowhere. Does she have a mental problem? But I don't think she has a mental problem, dude. But the thing that really ticks me off on top of that is this was two days after her birthday. So, I mean, I know she had it planned because when she left, I was paying for her cell phone and all that kind of stuff. Why? Why were you paying for her cell phone? Because when she moved down here, her phone was originally on her family's contract up there. So when she came down here, she got on my plan because I had an extra line. How old are you, Derek? I'm 20. How old is she? She was 19. Oh, boy. All right. I'm going to give you another of my pearls of wisdom. Most people are going to disagree with this. But here is my pearl of wisdom. Do not live together. The reason I don't think you should live together is because, in my opinion, God doesn't want you to. And in my book, he says, this is what I want you to do. Here's my rules. And if you don't do it...
It's not that I'm going to punish you. It's just that you're on your own, okay? And one of the things that we're not supposed to do is have sex before we get married. Now, I'm telling you this as a guy that had sex before I was married and paid the price through heartbreak, emotional turmoil, all kinds of different things. Now, is that to say that if you don't have sex before you're married, you're not going to have heartbreak? No, you are. It's not going to be as significantly profound and... It's not going to be as, now we all go through puppy love when we're a kid. That seems very dramatic. We throw our palm on the top of our foreheads and we go, oh, this is awful. I feel like I could die. It's so bad. My life's over. But what I'm telling you is, is that if I had it to do all over again, I would play by God's rules because I decided I wasn't going to. I was going to do it my way. I said, okay, I know you have these rules and that this is the way it's supposed to go. But I said, I'm not going to do it your way. I'm going to do it my way. This is where the confusion comes in. A lot of times people go, so what you're saying is, is that God punishes you if you don't do what he, no, no, no, no, no. What I'm saying to you is, is that when I decided to do it my way, he went, okay, you know, I do give you free will. You have free will. And so if I'm going to give you the opportunity, if you decide that you're not going to play by my rules.
then you're on your own. You'll deal with the consequences. If you end up getting into a relationship now where you're having sex and jealousy becomes a part of it and what is she doing? That's sometimes what happens. Just one man's opinion. But my advice to you would be that first of all, don't live together. Second of all, you guys are very young. Very young. Eddie and I can tell you for... until the cows come home, how when you're young, you think you got it figured out, right, Eddie? Well, you think you know everything for sure. You think you know everything for sure, but you got to... You don't. Yeah, you don't. You got to give it time. I'll admit to that. I don't know. Half there is to know. So I would give it time, bro, and I would definitely ask yourself what your part in all of this stuff was. Sky, go ahead. Well, what do you think, Mikey, about the fact that she put in the note, don't contact me, don't try and find me. Oh, he shouldn't. But he admitted that he keeps calling her. See, that right there, I'm glad you said that because I missed that. That right there, that's part of the symptom, bro. If she's saying not to do that and you're doing that, on one hand you're saying, yeah, man, she thinks that I'm jealous and I'm checking up on her and I don't do that.
Yet when she tells you, here's what I'm doing and don't contact me, it's all you're doing is contacting her. So you got to ask yourself what your part in it is. I did it for the first few days. I didn't try and do anything. And then it just got to that point where it was like just getting ridiculous. Here's my advice, Derek. Here's my advice. Don't call her anymore. If she calls you, you say, what are the issues that you have with me and how can I resolve them and move out and live separately? Uh-huh. That's my advice to you. All right? Okay. Thanks. P1 Sundance? Yes, sir. 32 years old. Yes, sir. What's going on? Complete opposite end of the spectrum there with that guy. We are Christians. She's a virgin. I'm not, though, because of my past. But we've been faithful in not living together, not doing anything. We've been together about a year and a couple months. And, you know, I'm ready to make that next step. You're 32? Yeah, she's 30. You're ready to make the next step. Yeah. I want to start talking about marriage, getting engaged and stuff, and she just isn't trying to hear it every time we bring it up. It's like, oh, I don't make enough money right now. Like the security issue. Women have a security issue, and I understand that. And I am trying to make things happen. I just graduated from college like about six months ago. So I'm trying to make things happen here.
Because that was one of her big things is security. Right. Which I completely understand. Sure. But then, you know, anytime I talk about it or bring it up, it's just like, it's a debt, you know, it just breaks, you know? Yeah. And then also, like, she just told me recently, like, something in my past bothers her and she doesn't know whether she can. What is it? Well, I don't know. I'd rather not say on the air. Can you give me a vague idea? You know what? You don't have to. She's not going to get over it. I don't have to know what it is. But whatever it is that she says, there's something about your past. First of all, the fact that you said to me, I don't know that I want to say it on the air. Whatever it is that you're not willing to say on the air is not something she's going to get over. And I would be saying... Even when she tells me that...
I'm the greatest boyfriend she's ever had. Yes. No one treats her better than me. Yes. 100% yes. And the reason I say that is because you probably are. But whatever that thing is that she says to you, I don't know if I'm going to be able to get over that. And you talk about marriage and she ain't ready to do it. She's not going to get over that. She's not going to get over that unless you guys get into a shrinkola's office. That's our next step. That's a good step. And that should be item numero uno. I'm saying, listen, here's the thing that I did, and here's the thing she says she doesn't think she can get over. What do you think, professional? But I'm telling you right now, when they're... What if it's something like she visited a bathhouse? Yeah, that could be bad. That could be bad. I'm telling you if it's a bathhouse. Stop it. Run the other way. But, I mean, who would say that? I mean, I would never. Thanks, Ed, for cheering me up. Yeah, dude, I say you get into the shrink's office. If she's saying that to you, there's a real... The thing was is, like, she treated... There's been several times where I've been treated kind of unfairly. Like, even her parents, her dad's a pastor, and, you know, they're a very conservative family.
Her parents have called her on it. Her sisters call it on it. Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. Do her parents and everybody that you're talking about, do they know what the thing is that you're not willing to say on the air? Oh, no. She lied to them. Right. Exactly. Thank you for the call. All right. Roy Scheider died at the age of 75. Can you believe that? Ryder strikes almost over. Did we... tell you that we sent Boston Rob to the polls last week? Yeah. And we forgot to get to that because we were out Thursday and Friday. Wednesday, we didn't have time. I really want to play for you. Boston Rob going on Super Tuesday and talking to people. It was great. Don't go away. Don't know what stupid is. The Mikey Show is on. How was shopping, honey? I think. Whoa.

And the most important thing when you buy your lady a gift for Valentine's Day is she wants to know that you put the thought into it.

She wants to think that you put a lot of thought into it and that you know her and you got something specifically just for her. And Vermont Teddy Bear. can make that happen for you guys. They make it so easy. Just go on vermontteddybear.com and you can pick a teddy bear based on what she does for a living. Now here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Dumb chick challenge. Here we go. Skye. We got a game here, Skye. She's got that look on her face like... She does it every time. Give me a minute here, guys. Well, I see... Think this one through. Now, Rob on his next turn can win with a two point. That's right, Skye. Get it in your head. Now, wait a minute. I'm considering the last two questions. Mike, can I have a black person question too? I'll take black guys for 40. African Americans are 200. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Like we always do with this. Big party over at Sky's this weekend. We were all in the hot tub listening to this with champagne flutes. Yes. Sky had in her grill. And it was great. It was all gold. Sipping Cristal. Sipping Cristal. And it was great. I had a big gold necklace on that had the words Mikey in it.
in gold. I showed up with my mountain lion. It's my pet. Yeah, that's true. And his mountain lion has a diamond collar. Yeah. Of course. I can afford it. He pulled up in his Escalade with spinning rims and the bobcat jumped out of the back. It's not a bobcat. I thought it was a bobcat. It's a mountain lion. It's fresh. I caught it. It's much larger than a bobcat. It's fresh. Dude. It is 9.02. A 13-year-old Claremont girl is lucky to be alive after an SUV crashed into her house, barely missing her. Jose Canseco calls Brian McNamee a dirty liar. Oh, wow. Wow. Wow. That is a very harsh thing to say about someone. You know? And it's interesting, too, because it's a whole steroid thing. Well, that's why.
There you go. Why do you lie, liar? Now, do I have a sheet that tells me what all these different polling things are? No, I didn't. It's all right, Mike. Just give me a mic for a moment. I just need one moment here. Because they're all basically, there's nothing. What's up? There's nothing to tell. Yeah, there's nothing really to tell. What I'm doing is I turn this into a what you're doing at the courthouse, but it's what you're doing at the polls. There you go. And I'm just kind of getting people's takes on, you know, if they're going to vote today, if they're going to vote later today, because it was Tuesday. This was Super Tuesday. Yeah, some of the people had not voted yet. And then, you know, if they hadn't even registered, are you going to get registered by the primary? San Diego State, right? Yeah. So we're talking to students here. Let's see what happens. Who are you voting for? Well, I think I'm voting for Barack, actually. Why? Couldn't tell you his last name. But I think I'll vote for Barack. Seems like the lesser of, I don't know, five or six evils. Really? But there are really only two candidates left in the Democratic Party. Well said. He chose Chris Rock to be his VP. Would that change your opinion? Oh, I'd definitely vote for him. He's all about change and everything, and that's good. He means it, by the way. I think that really would get his vote if it was Chris Rock running with him.
So who are you going to vote for today? I'm actually not even registered to vote today. Are you going to get registered by whenever we vote at the end of the year? I learned that was the primary. I learned. Yeah, the primary. Hopefully, yeah. I want to get registered for the primaries. That's definitely a big deal to me. Well, the primaries are today, though, sir. It's the general election. If you want to get registered... buy the primaries, you're going to need to get the DeLorean up to 88 miles an hour. Go back in time. Primaries. Who are you going to vote for then? I'm actually looking at Romney right now. I'm looking at him. You are looking at him? You're actually looking at Boston Rob. I know they're very similar looking. Why is differences though appealing to you? Because McCain... I'm actually more on the conservative side. I was raised in a military family, so I'm more conservative. McCain can't lift his arms up, so I don't really care for that. McCain doesn't really fit the bill for a conservative to me. Plus, if they have a show of hands vote, McCain probably couldn't do that. Wow, there it is. Easy joke.
That's not a joke. Rob is right there. He took it. I heard at the White House that they do show of hands. For what? Yeah, what do they do that for? Who wants to go to Rubio's for lunch? Show of hands. War with Russia. The eyes have it. Well, Mr. McCain's not raising his hand. Guess we won't. So you're going to vote today? Yes. Who are you going to be voting for? Obama. Is that because you're sexist? Absolutely not. I think he's very progressive. Maybe. No, I get it. You're sexist. I get what the vibes you're throwing out at me. So what's his main deal that really is appealing to you? I like that he speaks to young people on more of a level than anyone on the candidate. Can you take that taffy out of your house for just a minute, please? It would be more of like maybe just vote for her for a secretary of the kitchen. Wow. Rob! Rob! Rob! It's not easy. It's not easy. Her palsy when she tried to do all the heavy lifting. Palsy? She has palsy? Maybe she can't lift her hands either. This is very personal for me. Yeah, women should not do heavy lifting. Can't say that. He had said that. Yeah, he said it. That was not me. I agree with it. So are you voting today?
No, I'm not. Why not? Because I'm not registered in California. Will you be voting come November? Yeah. Who are you going to be voting for? I'm not sure yet. Probably a Democrat. Probably a Democrat. Can you name one? Name one. A Democrat. Well, maybe she does. Kennedy gets to it. Is there a Kennedy? You know, Sky's a good Democrat. The choices of that dude. What's his name? Clinton, Hillary, or that other guy, Obama. Who do you think? I don't know, probably Obama. Listen, I'm going to tell you, as you're listening right now in your car, I'm going to tell you this. What you're hearing is how people will really vote. You know what's wild, too? When I was up at State, there was big cement areas that had on the ground written in chalk, Do you want to change the world? You can. And then underneath, vote Obama. I'm going to tell you something. Huge, like covering like, you know, 40 foot radiuses or whatever. I'm going to tell you. Some people will vote for Obama based on that chalk sign. Definitely. They'll read that. It convinced me. It's the only thing they'll know. It did. I was like, wow. And they'll go, well, I remember reading this thing that said that he's going to change the world. Was that Time Magazine or the sidewalk?
It was covering the case. Well, it doesn't matter. Either way, someone said he's changing stuff. I get my news from the sidewalk, buddy. That's why I don't read the newspaper. Wow. Who'd you vote for? Hillary Clinton. Hillary. I get it. So you're a racist? No. Wow. Either way, you got him. Either way, you got him. Yeah. Considering what? This is my best friend. And we got a beautiful black girl here. Yeah, she is so beautiful. That's your best friend. That's tough. You're friends with a racist. So you told me. This is one chick. That's fantastic. It's two white chicks. It's two white chicks. And then this black chick all stand there. And I asked the middle white chick. Oh, hell. And they were like, I said you're a racist. And they were like, no, because my friend is black and she's right here. And I was like, that does not make you a racist, racist. I am black.
She's not racist. It's kind of hard to hear her through that hood, though, huh? Wow. Wow. Campus security. I'm not that Rob doesn't work for CNN. I know it. I know it. Who'd you vote for? Mike Huckabee. Huckabee. There you go, Mike. I like him already. Oh, wow. I like him already. I didn't like this guy. Let me ask you a question. You ever heard of Ron Paul? Yeah, I have. Try Googling him. Get a little more informed before you go to the polls. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. Rob doesn't even know what that means. He doesn't know anything about what that means. He heard that on the air that day. Yeah, he did. And he just repeated it. But I scared this guy. So what do you say? Come November, maybe Ron Paul? Maybe. If he's on the Republican ticket, I probably will vote for him. I agree with some of his stuff, but not everything. Well, I suggest you Google him. Check out the overpasses on the highway, because we're trying to start a revolution here, okay? Good job, Rob. Yes, we are trying to start a revolution. We are the sidewalk writers. She can't wear pajamas? Well, she can, but why would you, Eddie, buy Sean's mom a Valentine's gift from... Eddie didn't say that. He didn't say that. He just asked, what about Sean's mom? Welcome back. It is 9-18. The Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson movie, Fool's Gold, was number one this weekend, making $22 million. Looks like the girls are done. Susie Kolber and Michelle Tafoya will not return to Monday Night Football in 2008. Really? Why? They don't say. They don't say whether or not they're going to have new satellite reporters or not. You know my dad told me? And it's a weird phenomenon that happens when something like this, what I'm about to tell you, occurs. My dad said that HBO's Inside the NFL had its last episode this last week. And I don't watch Inside the NFL. I know it's there. I don't watch it. I was bummed that it was gone. Like last episode ever? Ever. No. After 35 years, the show is done. They're not on the air anymore. What? Yeah. And my dad said that they were upset about it and that they were vocal about it on TV. You're kidding. Yeah.
And that they were saying that it's been this long, that they've really enjoyed it, and they're very upset that it has happened this way, and that the show should still be on, and blah, blah, blah. That is bizarre. I wonder why. Now, I'm going to tell you, my dad's 71, but it sounded like he knew that he really got it. But I don't know. All I know is that I like that show. I like it conceptually. I don't watch it. I've seen it. I don't watch it on a regular basis, but I don't want it to be gone. For whatever reason, I want it to be there available for me if I ever want it. Yeah, I watch it. That sucks. Did you see it this last week? I saw a portion of it. I saw a roundtable discussion about the Hall of Fame and Chris Carter's on that show and he didn't get voted in. He was real upset about it and it was really compelling. If my dad got this wrong, I'm going to be upset with him. No, don't be upset. No, I will. I'll say dad. He was just in the hospital. He was just sick. I'm going to take the guy. I told you that when we came back, I wanted to play you this Amy Winehouse thing. So Amy Winehouse last night on the Grammy Awards. Now, she is literally, first of all, she got record of the year for rehab. When they say record, that's the way we say in the industry. So stupid. You're right. It is stupid. In the industry, we say, all right, coming out of the record.
We call a song a record. And so when they say record of the year, they mean for the song Rehab. It's a great record. Really is a good record. Are you going to add this record or not? I really need KIOZ to be on this record for us. Play this record. It's a nice up-tempo record. It's a great record. Now this number is going to go... Kids are going to love this number. So here she is accepting record of the year for Rehab. She's fresh out of Rehab. She went to two weeks of rehab for heroin and other stuff. Crack. Two weeks? Two weeks. I can't believe that. And then she's up there. Well, she was via satellite from London because they wouldn't allow her a visa into the States due to her, you know, drug issues. Let's see what two weeks sounds like. Okay. Cut 22. Thank you to everyone at Ireland Records. Everyone at EMI Music Publishing.
To Ray Ray and Joe. Ray and Joe. To Mark Ronson and Salon Remy. To my mom and dad. My Blake incarcerated. And for London. This is for London. To Kat. To her Blake incarcerated. Wow. She does not sound that healthy to me. No. Crackers whacked. Now something happened when Kanye was accepting for best rap album. Something happened. I guess they started. You know how they. When you do your thank yous, you get a certain amount of time. And when they feel that you've had enough time, what they do sometimes is they start playing the record. For you to wrap up. It's your cue. Like, okay, I got to wrap up. I got to finish this thing up. So here's what happened last night with Kanye. Cut 14. It definitely feels good to be home. Here at the Grammys. You know, we snuck in about four years ago. Four or five years ago. And now we basically...
Made this our new place of residence. And when working on a hip-hop album in the state, you know, with the music gang, they say, like, you know, you can't sell records. So a lot of people said hip-hop was dead, not just Nas, but, you know, a lot of people just said, like, the art form wasn't popping like that anymore. You know, I wanted to cross the genres and show people, you know, how we could still express ourselves with something fresh and new, and that's what hip-hop has always been about. You know, coming out with new sounds. Now, as I'm listening to it, I'm thinking in my head, okay, where is it appropriate for me to be like, thank you very much? Yeah. I'm closely nearing that point. Like, you know, everybody's got their own meter. Yep. I'm just kind of in the I'm wandering off mode. I'm getting into wandering off space. Right. Unpause. So...
Oh, it's so common. Like, man, you got to time the album out better. You can't drop them. Thank you. This is my award. And for Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse, come on. You going to play music on me? For Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse, if I don't get to get up here for album of the year, you deserve it just as much as me. I deserve it, too. Just to say something about my mother, I appreciate... All the support. I appreciate all the prayers. It would be in good taste to stop the music then. I appreciate everything. And I know you're really proud of me right now. And I know you wouldn't want me to stop. And you want me to be the number one artist in the world. And mama, all I'm going to do is keep making you proud. We run this. Oh, boy. Wow.
Thank you. It sounds like that moment was everything you wanted it to be. Totally. Touching. I'm sure that you'll never forget accepting best rap album of the year in the Grammys. And how beautiful it was with the dedication to mom. And shaming the producers. Well, my alarm was going off the same time their alarm was going off. Mike Huckabee on the Today Show today. Matt, thanks. And now to the Republicans. Senator John McCain has a huge lead in the delicate count, but former Governor Mike Huckabee is refusing calls to drop out. And this weekend, he pulled off wins in Louisiana and Kansas. Mike Huckabee's eyes check different things out. I don't know if you've ever noticed this. The left eye wants to see what's going on in the east. Really? And the right eye wants to see what's going on in the West. Watching his own back. Yeah. Multitasker. It's like the scene in Goodfellas when they're all sitting at the table with mom having dinner and he goes, look at the painting here. This guy looks this way. This guy looks this way. It's great. Former Arkansas governor is in Virginia, which holds its primary tomorrow. Governor Huckabee, good morning to you and congratulations, sir. Oh, not a big delay at all. I love that. Not a big delay at all. I love that. Let me tell you why there's such a giant delay.
One person's in New York, the other one's in Virginia. Not Iraq? No. That was like Jupiter, you know. Thank you very much, Meredith. We had a good weekend. We're not sure, but we may have done better in Washington. You notice that? You see that? One guy's checking this out, one guy's checking this out. Right now, he's looking at Sky and Eddie. I know they quit counting votes after 87% were in, so we're challenging those results. We want a fair election up there, and we're just not sure we had one. You said even you were surprised, though, by the results over the weekend. What do you make of them? Well, you can make a hat, or you can make a boat, or you can fold it this way and make a dress. What about a swan? You can make a swan. I think a lot of people are ready to be given a choice. The Republican Party is not a party that likes to be told what to do. A lot of the establishment want to just say it's over. Why don't we just have a coronation? But we're supposed to have an election. That means people get to choose. We have a lot of people in North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas. They haven't even voted yet. So what do we do? Just tell them don't bother to show up? I think it disenfranchises their votes. And that's not a healthy thing for the country. It's certainly not for the Republican Party. But, Governor, are you feeling that pressure? Plus, he's making his case even more. See, that's my opinion.
I think he's making his case to McCain even more. I should be your vice president. Oh, yeah. For sure. And so we'll go into these other states and I'll get a whole bunch of... I'll show you that we're viable. Good for you. I saw on CNN on Saturday, or I don't know, whatever, I think it was Saturday, I was watching all the election stuff, all the primary stuff, and they were saying that from now on, even if Huckabee won every single remaining state with over 50% of the vote, it still wouldn't be enough for him to beat McCain. Not enough delegates? Uh-uh. Yeah, so... So your point is totally valid, because to me, I didn't know up until you said that, why would he even bother? You know, he's just wasting money, but that's a great point. I wonder if she's going to bring that up to him. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, because there's no way in the world he'll say, well, I'm trying to make my case to McGain. Yeah, I mean, the only way he could win is, like, say, if he got, like, 75% of the vote in every single state remaining. And that's not going to happen. No.
When former governor Romney dropped out of the race last week, he said he did so in part because... What do you guys think now that Romney dropped out? Because it happened when we weren't here. So now, I know McGaigne and Romney hate each other. Like, it's personal. They really hate each other. But do you think that McGaigne would go, well, if I put this guy that everybody thinks is real conservative on the... Everybody thinks I'm not conservative. Right. So maybe if I put this guy that everybody thinks is conservative on the ticket, it makes it real strong. Because the conservatives did love Romney. So maybe I put him on there. Yeah, but he likes Huckabee. And Huckabee clearly is doing a good job. And he's pretty conservative. So I think he would rather lose and go with Huckabee than win. If you were his campaign manager, you'd be telling him Huckabee, not Romney. Well, yeah. Not only personally would it be better for McCain, but... You know, I mean, it's clear that Huckabee's got a following himself. Yeah. Oh, yeah. McCain. McCain. Stay in the race would damage the party. So are people saying the same thing to you, that it would be better if you stepped aside? Well, nobody who is objective, none of who are supporting me. I mean, the people who are saying that are the people who are supporting Senator McCain. I can understand that. They'd love for me to step aside. But, you know, to say that it's bad for the party for us to have a debate...
That it's bad for the party for us to have an election? My gosh, I really would like to think that it's good for the party for us to talk about it. I've always believed competition breeds excellence, and the lack of competition breeds mediocrity. You know, there have been 30... Man, here's a yakking in the background. Two contests so far, you've only won eight of them. So why do you believe you are the right man to energize this party? Well, if you look at where I want them, I want them in the states that we have to win if we're going to win in November. You don't win the Republican presidency by winning California, New York, and Delaware and Connecticut. You win that presidency by West Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas. Those are the states that I've won. So we have to decide, are we wanting to win in November or do we just want to rack up some delegates? And I think what I've proven is that I appeal to the conservative base of our party. That's who is supporting me. And that's going to matter if we really are serious about beating either Hillary or Obama. He looks real tired. Yeah, he kind of does. He does. Yeah, he looks like he's real. I bet they are, man. Oh, I couldn't even imagine. I bet they're worn out. Roy Scheider died at the age of 75. Shark finally got him. That's right. Well, we don't know that that's not the case. Well, no, we don't know that that is the case. I heard it got personal. Yeah, I heard that too.
Since we don't know if it was a shark, I think it's only fair to assume it was. Yeah, I agree with that. You better need a bigger boat. I think opposite. So, Roy Scheider ironically dead of a shark attack at the age of 75 years old. The Mikey Show Show. I mean, I listen six days a week. You guys are awesome. Appreciate it, bro. Thank you. Continued its dominance over the AFC, 42-30. Very nice. What is that? Ashley hasn't been heard from her in a couple minutes. Just wanted to let you know that our Valentine's Day line is up. Come on. Did you test it? Let's test it right now. Oh, no. I had Ashley put the message on there. It's going to be great. Thank you, Mike. I just want to make sure it's working. Okay? Before I do this... Can we say a prayer? I mean, what should we do? I don't know, man. Can you tell me, Idalia, a one... A what? Can she help me today? It's A-5-8, right? A-5-8 or 6-1-9? Can I talk to you for a minute? I'm asking you a question. I need to talk to you. What? She's testing me so much today. Who are we talking about? Zeth? Never heard of it. The American Idol girl.
Oh. Fantasia? Yes. What's your problem? Leave him alone. He's got a trying day. She wants to kill me. She wants to destroy me from within. From within. That is not true. She is fighting a war path with me. Ashley is like having a daughter, and I'm not kidding. Oh, yeah. Honestly, I honestly feel like if I have... I believe that Ashley was brought into my life by God. And that it happened because without her in my life, I would not have been prepared for a daughter we're going to have at some point. Right. I don't know about her yet, but at some point I'll have a daughter. Yep. And a day will come when she's like 13. Oh, yeah. Talk about it. And it's so similar. Like how Ashley acts like right now. Yes. I drink your milkshake.
I try to be so patient, and I say to her things like, you know, I really love you. I care about you. Please leave me alone. But she hates you, Mike. She wants to destroy me. I love him. All right, let's try this. Do I dial one? No? I don't know. What's the number? 858. 858. Then you shouldn't dial one. Or the area code. Okay. Hey, P1s, it's Ashley. If you want to leave a message for your loved one, go ahead and do it now. And maybe, hopefully, you might just hear it played back on Valentine's Day here on the Mikey Show. Perfect. There we go. It worked. Okay. We'll leave that message. It took a week. That's amazing. Thank goodness. Perfect. Here's what you do. If you want to hear your message played back here on Valentine's Day. Now, we can't promise we're going to play them all back.
And the reason we can't promise that is because we know we're going to get a ton. But if you want to tell your loved one how much you love them, then you need to call 858-858-715-1923. 858-715-1923. Ah, yes. 1923. The year of the Revolutionary War. Columbus discovered America. The year we landed on the moon. 858-715-1923. I'm going to leave one for the boo. Are you going to? Yes, I wrote the number down. Very nice. It's also on the website if you need it. Very cool. Oh, Shawnee, you're so cute. Now, we can't do them all. Can't do them all. Because there's going to be too many. But we'll pick the ones that we think are the most interesting. Skye, hopefully yours makes it. I know. Thanks. That's right.
Hello, this is Skye. Well, you already know. So you recognize the voice. It's my calling card. Hello, it's yours truly. And I would just like to say to the boo, I love you so much. That's true. Director, can we do this again? Can you count me in? Alright, let's take it from the top. Yeah, there we go. I'm going to sing a little song for the boo. And I'm playing acoustic here. And engineer, do you mind? Count me in. And a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, four. Been a while since I've seen the blues. I want you to know that I love you too. That's sweet. Yeah, that's a good idea. So, yeah, call. Leave a message. Be real nice. Real sweet. Real sweet. Fresh. Oh. What, Rob? Rob. Nothing. Continue on. I like ham. Rob loves, he loves ham jokes. I mean, he hasn't said a word all morning. I know. Honey, you know, we hung out this weekend. Come get some ham this weekend. How was poker, Eddie? It was pretty fun. Eddie had a poker party Friday night. Yeah. Awesome.
Rob won, so that was hysterical. He won? Yeah, it means the guy gets to eat this week. Why? What's so funny? Well, you've never won before, for one. Not true. It is true. I've won once. No, never. But it was cute. Bunny Boo was hysterical. I've never seen a bigger plate of desserts in my life. So Boo likes desserts. He loves them. He went and got a dessert. platter. Yes. It came back and it like tipped the table over almost. We're like, dude, hungry? Well, because it was like those, like, you know how there's different sizes of paper plates? There's the normal size and then there's like the mini appetizer size, so it was that size, but it was like a mound of dessert. Of cookies and everything. Holy moly. You told me something about somebody there at the poker party. Yeah. Is that private information? I don't know. About the fish? Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know why it would be. The fish. Foy Flounder. Boy Blunder. Fooey. Budweiser. Rick. Frick. Boy Rick. Foy Fish Food. Yes. Foy. Foy Flounder. Bear Story. Bear Boy. Boy Bear. Abdominal Slow Man. Yes! It is!
The man that works on the afternoon show with BC and Clint. Guys volunteering for the Obama camp. Whoa. That's awesome. Really? Yeah. And I said to this guy, I go, now why did he say that he liked Obama? He's African American. He's black. Yeah. Well, I don't. Okay. Blunder just turned black on the weekend. Oh, Blunder is? Because he is black. We know Obama is, but I don't know if you know that Blunder is black. He's like the whitest guy I've ever seen. Because he is black. Because he is black. So I want to know, why is he like Obama? What is it that he likes? And he, what Sky told me he said, to me is, listen, the Obama thing is working. What Obama is trying to put out there, this is the conservative Republican take on Obama. My take. Obama says a lot of stuff that sounds good, but how are you going to do it? Can he deliver? Sure. This sounds great. Yes, he can. Who wouldn't like what he's saying? It's as if somebody was saying, I would like us to live in a country.
where all of us drive Mercedes-Benz. Ooh, I like that. Well, if you vote for me, I would like this to be a country where you will have beautiful women falling in love with you. Oh, wow. Awesome. You listen to it and you go, wow, that sounds really awesome. I heard he's going to change the world. That's what Fishburne said. That's right. That's what he says. But how? Let's do it. And Hillary was even saying this weekend, some people tell me. Oh, gross. It's gross. Her voice got better. Some people tell me that. Oh, my goodness. When I'm campaigning, I should get up here and just say a bunch of things that sound really wonderful and sound really hopeful. And I should just drone on and on about how hopeful things are. And I went. Wow, so Hillary, she gets it. She's at least trying to take advantage of what he's doing. She's trying to point out what he's doing. He's doing this, you know, I'm going to change everything and I'm going to make the world into sunshine and roses and puppies and rainbows and unicorns. I love unicorns. Yeah, who doesn't? I love them too. I think everyone loves unicorns and rainbows. Unicorns and rainbows sound great.
He's going to do it, Mike. That's what he says. He will. But he won't. It's not easy. No, he will. He won't do it. You don't know him. I know he won't. You don't know. He's going to do it. So anyway, that Budweiser's all in on Obama. I love it. He was very passionate. I thought that was awesome. Phooey. There you go. He's a phooey. Phooey. Phooey. Sounds like an idiot. Idiot. You know what we haven't talked about that I think is really stupid? What? What we just did. Yeah. No, it was this. Do you guys know who David Schuster is? No. MSNBC host. This is what he said about Chelsea Clinton. Cut 27. Bill, there's just something a little bit unseemly to me that Chelsea's out there calling up celebrities saying support my mom. And apparently she's also calling these super delegates. Hey, geez. She's working for her mom. What's unseemly about that? I mean, during the last campaign, the Bush twins were out working for their dad. I think it's great. I think she's grown up in a political family. She's got politics in her blood. She loves her mom. She thinks she'd make a great president. Michelle Obama's out there for her husband. But doesn't it seem like Chelsea's sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way? No. She's there. Listen, if she didn't want to be there, she wouldn't be there. I mean, give Chelsea a break. Now, we all heard it. Yeah.
Guy's been suspended. He had to go on the air and apologize because he said pimped out. What? What is that? Oh, really? Yeah. I know. Did you guys even see that coming? No. You can't say that? You know what it is, man. It's this Don Imus era, I guess. I guess. I guess. That's crazy. Like, what is the problem? Like, this guy was saying, yes, she's become a prostitute for the... Like, what do you think, bro? Like, who heard pimped out and thought, oh, Chelsea Clinton's actually a prostitute? Nobody thought that. Yeah. Or that he was... It's a figure of... It's like American... Slang. Slang. Yeah. It's part of the lexicon. It's part of the lexicon. If you said... It's not part of the lexicon. If you said... If a guy, you know, clearly the guy is using slang. And if he said, if he called somebody dog, it would be as if people thought that they were saying that he was saying somebody was ugly. Right. And they're a dog. Right. And kind of missing the whole, well, you do realize like that's slang, right? And it's slang for, I'm putting them out there. I'm getting them out there because they, you know, that's what it means. Wow. But that guy got, listen what he had to do. Cut 28.
Last night during the show, I spoke about Chelsea Clinton and noted the affection that so many of us have for her. I also spoke about phone calls she has made to superdelegates to convince them to support her mom. In describing this effort, I used a phrase that was inappropriate. And I apologize to the Clinton family, the Clinton campaign, and all of you who were justifiably offended. As I said this morning on MSNBC, all Americans should be proud of Chelsea Clinton. And I'm particularly sorry that my language diminished the regard and respect she has earned from all of us and the respect her parents have earned in how they raised her. Now check this out. So Hillary Clinton is supposed to take part in a debate on MSNBC. And she starts to threaten that she will not be in the debate because he said that. And I go, what's that all about? Like, really, you're not? So anyway, when we come back, I have Hillary's, the audio of Hillary responding to this comment. Clearly she's not happy about it. And I can't wait to hear what she says. So that's next.

Limited time offer for residential customers in Coxmart serviceable areas. Receiver ruffle may be required. Other restrictions apply. I'm looking at, oh my. Dude. Pictures of Zeth and Rob helping landscape Skye's house on her blog. Oh, dude. MikeyShow.com MikeyShow.com And then when you get there, go to keyword blogs. K-I-O-Z San Diego. Keyword! Who's the crazy lady running around with the mask on? Yeah, Skye has on one of those masks that you use so you don't get sawdust. Or anthrax. That's right. What? A little much? There was a lot of stuff in the air. We were shoveling soil conditioner, or whatever the heck that stuff's called. Skye is out there working. Lots of rocks, lots of soil. There's a lot going on in the Dedo.
Then she's got, she hired Boston Rob's, Boston Rob's service. Cellmate. Muscle for hire. Cellmates for hire? Is that what you're saying, Sean? That is what it looks like. Yeah, you should have seen Robby such a clown. Because there's hocks, you know, that circle, you know, in Escondido. He's an actual clown. He's wearing a clown outfit. Oh, no, that's her. And he went to a shoulder. And he would stand out in the middle of the yard with his arm out and start making hawk calls, trying to get the hawks to come land on his arm. These things were awesome. Yeah. Did it work? I got close. Surprisingly, no. I got real close, though. He would just stand out there trying to call the hawks. All right, you guys want to hear this Hillary Clinton responding to the guy saying that she was pimping out Chelsea? Cut 29. You know, I am a mom first and a candidate second. And I found the remarks incredibly offensive. You know, I can take whatever comes my way. That's part of what I signed up for as a candidate, as an office holder. But I think that there's been a troubling pattern of comments and behavior that has to be held accountable.
to the head of NBC expressing the deep offense that I took and pointing out what has been a troubling pattern of demeaning treatment. I would expect appropriate action to be taken. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. Who's going to vote for that? Dude, does she have anybody that was born after the 40s in her campaign that can explain to her, like, they weren't calling your daughter a prostitute? Even Chelsea would have said something to her mom. Like, hey, mom, you know what? This is just a figure of speech. He's not well right now. And mom, you are pimping me out. Yeah. And mom, not only are you... Yeah, that's the thing. Like, mom, it's really not a comment about me. It's a comment about you pimping me out. Well, every, you know, campaign pimps out their family. It's not easy. It's not easy. And they did sign up for that. Yeah. That's crazy. Listen, nobody would be behind anybody attacking your daughter. Like it's your kid and nobody is behind that. Nobody is okay with that. But this is not attacking your daughter, bro. Well, it's interesting because Hillary was on 60 Minutes and they did an interview with her. And she was really, you know, basically without...
totally saying it she was basically saying that she is attacked more than all the other candidates and that it's interesting because if barack obama um gets the nomination this is something he won't be used to and almost alluding to the fact that there's things in his closet you know skeletons in the closet that haven't come out yet really and that you know if he becomes the candidate then he'll have to get used to what she's been dealing with all along Yeah, and I thought that was like, okay, poor you. You're trying to make history here, lady. It's never easy. It's not easy. It's not easy. Well, it isn't easy, Hillary. That's the thing you have to remember. It's not easy. I know. It's not easy. I just said that. This is very personal for me. I know it is. But you're crying. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. You're welcome, Oprah. Now, Ellen DeGeneres interviewed Paris Hilton. What? Why? Cut 44. How many do you have now? Oh, my goodness. I have 17 dogs. No, you don't. Yes. 17 dogs? A lot. Pause. How does that make you feel, Sky? Wait, wait, wait, Sky, before you say anything. That's cool, right? I mean, I'm sure she's got plenty of time. You too, Ashley. You guys are animal lovers. I'm sure she has plenty of time to devote to the care and well-being of all 17 animals. I'd like her to name them.
Oh, dude, that enrages me because I've read story after story about how her neighbors get upset because her dogs always get out of the house. And these are tiny little dogs. These are like coyote bait dogs. And they're running around the hills of Hollywood. Are you serious? Her neighbors have to pick them up and bring them. So I assume maybe she had like five dogs, 17. That's irresponsible. Ellen doesn't care. She'd just give them away. No. Hey, didn't you guys think that that was kind of an interesting comment that Rob made? Hey, Paris, can you name them all? Oh, yeah. Can you? She probably couldn't. Yeah. No way. No, Paris, can you name 10 of them? No. Can you name 10 of the 17? Oh, gosh. Unpause. They all sleep in my bed. They do not all sleep in your bed. Not all of them. Some sleep in your bed? Sometimes, yeah. Now, did you bring any with you today? Haven't we all. You just decide, like, how do you decide who goes with you? Um... I don't know. I trade it off so they don't get jealous. Right. I'll bring like three out at once. Three out at once. And 17, why do you have so many dogs? Because they keep having babies. And I feel bad to give them away because I feel like if I had a baby and someone gave it away, I'd be mean. So I feel bad for my dogs. You have to stay and neuter your pet. They all just got fixed. All of them? Yes. No, you're lying again. Two of them weren't. You could never be on Moment of Truth. You just look at me like...
Did you watch the Super Bowl? Yes. Gosh, what a liar pants. I wouldn't like it if I had a baby and someone gave it away. That would be mean. You're right, Paris. We didn't think of that. Yes. Since you put it like that. You're smart. No, she's not smart. You're smart. Sean, don't play that. You're smart. Sean, stop. I do not support that. You're smart. No, she's not. Ashley, you are 100%. Let me ask you. True or false? You are 100% convinced that if you and Paris were to do dumb chick challenge against each other, you would beat her. Oh, for sure. Oh, I don't know about that. So badly. For sure. Because I don't know. I'm telling you, as I ask and pose this question, I honestly do not have a... If I had to make a bet, I'd bet on both.
I bet on both. I would go, I think Ashley's going to win. And then I'd go, and I equally think Paris is going to win. And questions about just stuff. prefer to have like a debate with her. About what? Like it'd be like a political debate but it'd be me versus Paris and you'd be like the whatever asking us different questions. Asking us different questions about different things, different issues, whatever you want. We have a winner ladies and gentlemen. And in fact I will even go as far as to say as it could be any issue about anything and I will beat her in a debate. I want it so badly. I will kick her little stupid butt. I want it so bad. She makes me look good. That would be fantastic. I'm in. Eddie? No. Set it up. Put it on the board. Put it on the board. Oh, man. Roy Scheider. He's sad. Cut 76. Here's Roy. Cut 76. I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass out of the rectal of a boat out there, and it was the tooth of a great white. It was Ben Gardner's boat. It was all chewed up. I helped throw it in. You should have seen him. Where is that tooth? Did you see it, Bro? No.
No, I didn't see it. He dropped it. I had an accident. The problems of shooting at sea are enormous because the wind, the waves, everything is moving. And nothing stays the same for more than 50, 60 seconds. Let me tell you something. You yell barracuda, okay? People go, you yell shark. He got a pan. Nice. One of the greatest movies ever made. If you've never seen Jaws, We don't want to know you. You're going to need a bigger boat. Of course you are. You've seen it, right, Ash? I saw it when I was four, and it traumatized me. See you when you're a little older, kids. Yeah, I saw it when I was, like, seven. I'm, like, petrified of the ocean. My parents didn't have a clue. I was even in Los Angeles at the time. You're a different story. It's like a gray hen. Sky, have you ever seen Jaws? No, no, no. She's mad. No, no, no. Now, let me explain the look. Yeah, please, please.
She's irritated with you for not remembering that Jaws was on the 28-hour show. Even though she didn't pay attention at all. I watched it with you. You read Cosmopolitan. I think the question is still valid. You read Cosmopolitan magazine for two hours while we watched it. I was doing research for the show. Stoned on marijuana smoke. I was doing research for the show. If by doing research, you mean drugs, then yes. You were doing a lot of research. I was getting the creative juices flowing. And I went to work. Yes, that's right. Fantastic. It was another time, everyone. A different time. Different time. Different time. Different time. What are you going to do? I think I would like to hear... Cut 36. I see you in the morning. You look... I know you're getting three, four hours sleep. You know, I've held it pretty good.
But I've been religious about getting my exercise. So I've been working out every morning and that helps. Played some basketball? Played a little basketball. We realized that we had played basketball before Iowa and before South Carolina. We didn't play basketball before New Hampshire and Nevada. And so now we've made a clear rule that on election day I have to play basketball. Did you play basketball on Super Tuesday? Absolutely. Michelle and I were talking about it and we want to make sure that every child has a basketball court. You can promise that? Yeah, we're going to make sure that every child in this country has a basketball court. Let's see. Cut 35. I mean, one of the problems that you have still is the question of experience. You've done a lot of remarkable things in your life. But when you sit down and you look at the resume, there's no executive experience. And in fact, correct me if I'm wrong, the only thing that you've actually run was the Harvard Law Review. And the Boston Marathon. I've run my Senate office, and I've run this campaign. One of the interesting things about this experience argument is... Pause. Pause. Leave him alone. Pause. Are you kidding me? At least both his eyes are looking at the guy when he's talking to him. That's a great point, guys. Give me that. Well, point taken. On pause. The interesting things about this experience argument is that it's often posed as just a function of longevity.
You know, I've been here longer. Well, you know, there are a lot of companies that have been around longer than Google. Google's performing. Well, thank you. They've got my vote. I thought this was interesting. It is making news that the drummer of Seven Dust has admitted that he is, that Chris Daughtry is one of his best friends. I beg your pardon? It's making news today. It's, listen, not a lot of people have come out to say that. Uh-huh. He wants to be, you know, he wants to be brave enough to kind of be one of the people to stand up and say. Step forward. Good, yeah. I know the guy. Wow. Sorry, what? One of my best friends. Holy. Chris Daughtry. Congrats. Cut 77. He's one of my best friends in the world. Thank you. He's a phenomenal singer. He sounds great on the song and on the record. The record.
It was in the front row in North Carolina in a little club that we were playing seven years ago, singing every song before he was years away from going to American Idol. Can we take that very first, you know, he's one of my best friends. Let me hear that. He's one of my best friends in the world. Yeah, one of my best friends in the world. He's one of my best friends in the world. It's a new Mikey Show drop, ladies and gentlemen. Bill Clinton has said, I've learned that speaking for my wife is not the right thing to do. Now, that's what he's saying. And I will make a prediction that he will continue to speak for his wife. Yes. Because he desperately, desperately does not want her to become the president of the United States of America. Desperately. No way. He'll do what he feels best, Mike. Yes, he will. He can't help himself. He wants to be the center of attention. Yes, he does. He's a bad person.
He is not a bad person. Eddie, don't start him up. I heard he didn't do anything for this country. Not much. Easy, bro. Easy, bro. Oh, I know. Sean supports him. What man wouldn't want his wife to succeed? Jerk. A sexist. He's not a jerk, and he does want her to succeed. No, he doesn't. It's clear. Yes, he does. And he's never said anything to the contrary. Open your ears. Cut 40. Cut 42. Close them. Wait.
Everything I have said has been factually accurate. But I think the mistake that I made is to think that I was a spouse like any other spouse who could defend his candidate. I think I can promote Hillary but not defend her because I was president. I have to let her defend herself or have someone else defend her. But a lot of things that were said were factually inaccurate. Just because I'm not attracted to her doesn't mean I'm not behind her policies. But I think whenever I defend her, A, risk being misquoted, and B, risk being the story. I don't want to be the story. This is her campaign and her presidency and her decisions. And so even if I win an argument with another candidate, it's not the right thing to do. I need to promote her but not defend her. And I learned a very valuable lesson from all that dust up. He'll do it again. He will do it again. He will not. He's learned. He will do it again. He's a saboteur. He is a saboteur. He's a saboteur. Sorry, Sean. Sorry, Sean. And now... Yeah? Sean, is it possible to give me the Inside the Actor's Studio music and then get a clip played? Is it possible to do both? I can do both, but I can't control the volume. One may drown out the other. I see. Well, then let's just start with the Inside the Actor's Studio music. Yeah.
And then we will be able to stop the music and I'll go into the clip after the music. Lovely. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Blah Blah School of Action. Nice. We are privileged today to have with us one of the greats of film from the movie The Haughty and the Naughty. This is one of her works, Paris Hilton, cut 43. You're insane. In Johan's league, and I can't compete with that. To compete. I was with you. I really liked you, Nate. I thought you were different. Oh, wow. That was a motion picture? I don't know. It can't be. That was a motion picture. What we just played was a motion picture. Can the director, I mean, does he know the word cut?
How about take two? How about get off my set? They only wanted to do one take, apparently. Wait a minute. You know. I mean, I'm joking. So, obviously, they probably did multiple takes. That was the best one. Cream of the crop right there. That was the best take. Holy moly. So, you guys want to know how that did this weekend? Number one, right? Please. Now, we have to keep in mind. that it was only showing on 111 screens nationwide. Are you kidding me? So it pulled in $225,000, which breaks down to about 10 people per theater. Think about it. Who are those? I want to talk to you. 10 people per theater. Who are they? Wow. Why did they even release it? Yeah. Maybe straight to DVD next time, huh? Listen. At this point, they're like, I don't think we can put it out on DVD. Right? They're like, you know, it's not going to sell. My goodness. Well, maybe word of mouth will help it next weekend. Well, you just heard it. Oh, whoops. See, I'm trying to think through the process. I'm going, I'm not sure what they were banking on with her because it's not like she's a popular pop culture figure. A lot of people have a, well, most people, I think, have sort of a disdain.
It's interesting to me that they were like, well, let's give it a shot. We know we got an instant... We have an instant fan base. What? No, you don't. Oh, man. Ten people. Who? Ten people. Ten people. That was all her buddies. Yeah. Okay, so what else was in the movies this weekend? Well, let's see. The top three, number three was Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, best of both worlds, bringing in $10.5 million. That's the second week it's been out, right? Is it the second? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder how much it's made. Yeah, it was number one the first week. Is it a success? I can find out. Oh, I'm sure. Absolutely. It doesn't cost anything to make. It has to be. It has to be. It's impossible for it to not be. We did a lot of work on the, you know, There's a lot of pre-pro. Oh. A lot of what? You sound like you know what you're talking about. Yeah, well, it's a film industry term. Yeah. And so when we did the post-pro, we were going through there. Oh, now you've lost me. I remember the first week at Dailies. We said, you know, I don't know how you want to block these shots, but personally. Miley, you are. You got the lingo down. I'll tell you that.
So anyway. It's garbage. Let's see. It's brought in $53.4 million over the last two weekends. That's humongous. That's a lot of money. It's a concert movie. It's not even like crazy. Number two was Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins bringing in $17.1 million. What is that? Martin Lawrence. Martin Lawrence. Cut 67. African-American comedy. The young man goes to Hollywood, makes it big, but hasn't been home in nine years and winds up going back home to his mother's father's 50th anniversary and getting a reality check. You know, never stay away from home. Kind of let them know what it's all about. Family's important. And don't ever forget that, you know? True that. Let's hear a scene from the movie. Cut 69. Well, well, look who showed up. My grandson's father, Dr. R.J. Stevens. Been a long time, Dr. Stevens. Dad, that's just a stage name. Yeah, I know. Apparently Mufasa is in the movie. Cool. He's the best. That didn't sound very good to me. So that was number three, you said? No, that was number two. Two, two. And then the number one movie this weekend was Fool's Gold. Fool's Gold. Fool's Gold.
22 million. Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson. I want to see that. People gave it one star. They've got great chemistry. How to lose an audience in 10 minutes. Is that the same? Sky, does that deter you at all that people said one star? Well, I do. Okay, so. I got a bias here. Like, I believe People Magazine and their reviews, and that will influence me. But if it has... You want to see McConaughey. If it has somebody... I love McConaughey, and I love Kate Hudson. So both of them together, I'm in. I don't smell him in the theater. Does it change anything in your head, knowing that he looks that great, but he smells like B.O.? No, I don't think about it. I block it out. Do you do that too, Ash? Oh, it's hard for me. So you think about the B.O.? Yeah, I do. Like, when you see him, Really? You go, he does look great, but I know that he stinks. This is what I think about. If him and Kate had to have a romantic scene together, then I'll be thinking, Kate's not really that into it. He smells like B.O. right now. That's gross. Matthew McConaughey will not wear deodorant when he's filming a movie or otherwise. He just doesn't wear it. Even if you see him in a film where he's all buttoned up and looks like an attorney or something, he's just no, ladies.
Don't ruin it. That dude reeks. That dude smells like armpit. That ain't right. Let's see. All I'm going to do is give you the big stuff that we didn't hit on and then we got to split Sola. But I got to give you the big stuff that we didn't hit on. Oh, what is Madonna upsets people at her gym? Why does Madonna go to 24-hour fitness? She doesn't have a... Stairmaster in her house? Well, that's part of the story. They're like, yeah, like, you don't have the money to have a home gym going on, Madonna. But, yeah, they say that she goes to her gym and that she, you know, requests special things. Like, if she wants to use the treadmill, they have to block off all of the treadmills. Because, you know, normally they're, like, all in a line. Why is she doing that? Yeah, they say she's a member of New York's Reebok Sports Club. And that the other members there are furious. They say they had to close off a row of six treadmills waiting for Madonna to arrive. And then they also agree when Madonna's there to block the windows out with black curtains so that she can't be seen from the outside. But then it doesn't let any of the people on the inside look outside. Okay, so it's obviously unusual that the place would do that. But it's also unusual to me that Madonna allows it.
That she's okay with that. Like, I would feel such like a turd. I would feel so bad if they were blocking off treadmills and putting black stuff up. I'd be like, oh, no, guys. No, come on. I'm sure the club is more than happy to do that for her. I'm sure. To have Madonna as a member, but you're right. I mean, you say to yourself, I can't do it. It's just too goofy. Jerk status. Kirsten Dunst is in rehab. I can't believe it. Really? I had no idea. Yeah, I didn't either. Ashley drove her to drink. Well, Ashley hates her, and she heard about it. I do not hate her. No, she heard about it, but you hate her. I think she's a horrific actress. I don't hate her. You do not think she's a horrific actress. You have hated every film she's in. I think she's a horrible actress, and I do not like her on interviews. I don't really care for her personality, but I don't hate her. Wow. That's really hurtful. She's dull, and she's kind of... Dull? She's kind of conceited and she doesn't have much of a... She's not very friendly. When I saw her in Ellen, she wasn't. Angelina Jolie can't find her Oscar. Uh-oh. Is it lost? Did she lose it? Well, I guess... Pax. Yeah, Pax wanted to see if it could fly.
I guess she gave it to her mother, the one she won for Girl Interrupted. And she gave it to her mom. And then, you know, her mom recently passed away. And when they were packaging up all her mom's stuff, they couldn't find it. And they don't know where it is. That's pretty bad. Yeah, but according to sources, they say Angelina, like, doesn't care. Whatever. You know, like, she cares about her humanitarian awards. But as far as her awards for acting, she could give a rip. Pat O'Brien. is back in rehab. It was cocaine last time, right? Wasn't it cocaine and alcohol? That sounds right. Remember when he left the message on the strange messages? I remember that. So he's back in rehab. David Beckham kissed a fan and made them faint. That happens every time I kiss P1s. You kiss P1s? Every P1 I meet. Wow, really? Except the girls. Weird.
That is weird. But they say Beckham acted like it, you know, happens every day. He just said, get her a glass of water. She'll be fine. Every time I kiss someone, they pot out. Mary Kate Olsen, she's all depressed because of Heath Ledger. Were they dating? Is that the deal? Yeah, I mean, nothing exclusive, but they were having fun together, spending time. Don't ask about the relationship and where it is. Just don't even go. Let's not put titles on what they were. Oh, okay. I don't want to. Yeah, I don't want to. Easy, Scott. Okay, my bad. Just leave it at that. But, yes, they were hanging out. And, yes, they say she is very depressed and will, like, lock herself in her apartment for a day straight. You know those tornadoes that were happening last week in the South? They found an alive baby. A hundred yards the tornado picked him up and flung the baby. Boy or girl? An 11-month-old boy.
Holy Toledo. I heard about that. I heard it was even further than that. I heard it was 300. I actually heard that the baby landed in Georgia. Really? And it started in Tennessee, and the baby's fine. Flew from Tennessee to Georgia, just fine. Nonstop? Yes, it was a nonstop flight. Yeah, I did Google it, and there were some places saying it was like 300, 350 feet, but most sources were saying 100 yards. Very dizzy. The baby was very dizzy, but other than that. 100 yards, that's not cool. Still far. I guess when the rescuers were going through the rubble, they thought it was a doll. Baby's fine, right? The baby is fine, yeah. I mean, unfortunately, the mother died, but the baby's fine. I feel terrible. Why do you feel terrible? Well, because of mommy. Well, I mean, it's sad, but 57 people died in those tornadoes. You know, it's a miracle that that baby's alive. Is anybody going to take the baby? Well, I'm sure. What are they doing with the baby? The grandparents are going to raise it. Well, the baby's fine. Yes. Flew 100 feet or 100 yards and lived. They showed him on the news and he looked all right. Really? He had a couple scratches. That's crazy. Totally crazy. There was a guy in San Ysidro that robbed a bank at the Bank of America and police are looking for him. What does he look like, Skye? They describe him as a white man in his 30s with medium height and build. He was wearing a dark beanie.
Black sunglasses. Medium height. Medium build. Sorry. And a Band-Aid on his nose. So, I don't know if he still has the Band-Aid on his nose today. Maybe it was a breather right. Oh, maybe. Yeah, so that was Saturday afternoon. So, obviously, anybody, any details, call the police. 570-1053. We take calls at the beginning and end of every show. It's an open phone segment. So, you can call about anything you want to. Comment about stuff or ask questions or whatever. It's an open... So we invite you to have fun. Give us a call. Let me tell you about our Valentine line. Yeah. Got a phone line. It's like a voicemail thing where you can call and leave messages telling somebody that you love that you love them. And then on Valentine's Day, we're going to get all gooey on Thursday. And we're going to play your messages back. And, you know, it'll be great. That's awesome. So call us and tell us, you know, leave that message on there like you're leaving it for them.
You tell them, because we're going to play it back. And then your sweetheart that listens to our show, too, will get to hear it and really like it. P1 Andrew is on the line. Hey, Smarty Sky over there. You're like, I don't know if it's 300 feet, 100 yards. No, I said... Go ahead, Sky. No, I said it was 100 yards, but other places... 100 yards or 300 feet? Don't know which ones is closer? Listen, Sky, I'm having a hard time understanding what the problem is. I get what he's saying. I said it was 100 yards, and then he was like, well, I heard it was 300 feet, and then I was like, oh, well, I read that some places, too, but I guess 100 yards is 300 feet, so I'm sorry. We're all idiots here. You're the smartest guy. You're the smartest guy. End score. Yes, so congratulations to you. It is? Mikey Show, hello. Hey, I have a legitimate question for Sean. Oh, he signed. Go ahead. I was wondering if he had...
I heard anything above the rumor that Bill Clinton thinks his mom is hot. Yeah, and I also heard that you should get cancer in the face. Oh, Sean. Get out of here, guys. Sean, easy. You're crazy comments. Mikey Show. Hello. Hello. Yes. Hi, you're on the air. Oh, come on, sweetheart. I'm sorry? We want music. You want music? Sing to her, Mike. Are you okay? Sweet. Caroline. Good times never were as annoying as this call. So annoying. Are you new to the Mikey show? No, I turn it off every time it's on. You do? You do? Why? Because it's annoying. Well, what do you listen to when it's on then? Either nothing or CDs. How old are you? 19. Why are you so unhappy? You can tell me. The one chick's laugh is obnoxious. That is Ashley's fault. That is Ashley's fault. Okay, at first I was a little upset, but I understand. What if we get her off the show? Oh, that's annoying. I'm simply asking her.
What if we get rid of her off the show, would you be willing to give us a shot? Possibly. Possibly. Maybe if you put some songs every once in a while. We cannot do that. That is the one thing I can't do. I will work with you. Wait, you can fire someone, but you can't play a song? It's called compromise, guys. Yeah, I'm trying to compromise. I can't give into every need and want that she has. I would laugh right now, but I don't want to like it. Yeah. You can take away someone's livelihood, but you can't play a song. Yes. Okay. That is, yes. All right. Have you ever heard of negotiations, guys? Yes, you give a little, you take a little. Okay. So, you just got to give us a choice. What is your name, young lady? Um, Snow. Snow. That's a beautiful name. I like that reggae rap song you did in the early 90s. Is that really your name? Yes, it is. Well, you know what? I think it's pretty. Thanks. I bet you're pretty, too. I bet you're a pretty girl. That wants to listen to music. I understand. I'm trying to make friends with you. Yeah. Give me a little bit of a... But you're trying to fire her. That's not nice. Yeah, but you don't like her laugh. I'm working with you. I'm working with you. It's your fault.
Yeah, yeah. You have no one to blame but Snow. I think you should give us a try, Snow. You might really like the show if you listen a little bit more. Sometimes. I've listened to a little bit this morning. All right. And it was all right. Okay. Then see, you'll like it. You got to give it more. How long have you listened? Only one or two times? No, quite a few times. Like how many? I'm not sure. Quite a few times. Give me a number. Give me a roundabout. Several times. I was working in the morning before, and I would listen to it for a little while. Have you listened more than eight times? Yes. It's not enough. It's not enough. How many would be enough? I'll tell you an exact number. 24. If you listen to 24 shows, then I'm telling you, you'll enjoy it. You'll find somebody on this show as unhappy as you are.
Someone. I'm not kidding you. I'm not saying that to be a jerk. I'm saying that you will relate to someone. And you'll go, okay, that person's a little bit like me. I bet it's Seth. Exactly. See, that's what I mean. I just like music. I didn't say you were miserable. No. I didn't say that you were miserable. I said that you were unhappy. And that's true. And you know it. Okay, that's all. I didn't say you were miserable. Miserable is a strong word. You're an unhappy girl, and you know that's true. So I'm telling you that if you listen for 24 shows, I'm not saying you're going to become happy. That's with all the other stuff going on in your life. You've got to fix that stuff. But I will tell you that you will like The Mikey Show. That I can almost guarantee you. You'll like it if you listen to it more, more often. And you'll give up on this ridiculous music stuff. Thank you. I understand that. But the radio show in the morning, you know, we're a talk show. We don't play the music. The music's fantastic. It's a multifaceted radio station. That's right. We have the Mikey show in the morning. It's a talk radio show. And then we got the Chargers broadcast rights. That's right. Play football games. Hey, let me tell you something. Missy comes on after us and she plays great music. She's going to hook it up. Hey, she's got a whole bunch of record albums behind me right here. Yep. And she will go to the record thing and she will play records and you will like them and I guarantee it. She plays good music.
I was having a bad day, and I asked her to play a song. And she said, you know, I really do want to listen to that song. And I listened. I was at work, so of course I had time to listen. I was doing security. And she never played it. It was not because she didn't like snow. That's true. That was not anything personal against snow. She had other requests, and she had to get to them. And I'll bet that when she was driving home, she went, I didn't get to get to that song for snow. And probably felt bad about it. And there you are upset at her and she would have wanted to help you. Not upset, I wouldn't say. You were irritated. You were irritated and disappointed. And I believe that that probably comes from other people that have irritated and disappointed you. No. Yes, it does, Snow. Yes, it does. Snow, it does. Other people have disappointed you in similar ways. They said they're going to do something and they don't do it. I'll call you. Hey, Snow. I'll call you. It's like this. It goes like this. Snow, I'll call you back, babe. And you go, when? Like an hour. You swear? Yes. And they don't call back. I hate that. Taking it out.
How do you what? I have a question. Go ahead. How do you explain the fact that she thinks my laugh is obnoxious? It is. Like, did someone laugh too much? No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't read into it. Don't read into it. Don't analyze. Do not analyze. I'm analyzing. Don't read into it. You're agreeing to snow and saying my laugh is obnoxious? It is not obnoxious. I'm saying it's obnoxious to snow. No, that's not what you said. That's not what you said. What did I say? I don't remember. Oh, that was not cool, Mike. You're not cool. I didn't mean it. Wow. See what you've done, Snow? Yeah. Oh, man. All right, we got to go. All right. I love you, babe. What? Call her in an hour. Makes her feel good. I'll call you in an hour. Sorry, I'm happy. Thank you. Ashley, your laugh is not annoying. It's infectious. It's infectious, and I love it. You know what? Like, sometimes I know I can laugh a little bit hard, so sue me. Rob's laugh is annoying. Like, what? No offense. No offense. What did I do? No offense. Yeah. I love all your laughs. What do you guys think of that? I love them. I don't need you. All right, Snow, I'll text you. What? Loving and talented Missy is coming up next, and I know for a fact she will do her best to get your stuff on the air. Today on the Nooner, Missy has the double shots. So she'll play two in a row by the artist, and you wouldn't love it. Let's make an appointment. We'll get back together tomorrow. We'll break up for like 16 hours, and then we'll get back together tomorrow morning. I don't like the word.
We will take a break. We're going to be on a break? Sky, don't get... No, don't start pumping your eyebrows. What is that? No, we're not. We're still in a commitment. We're still in a commitment. We're still in a commitment. We're still in a commitment. One morning at 5.30. Mikey shows out late. Love your mouth.
