Mikey opened the show by detailing his painful allergic reaction to sulfa medication, which led to a rash, an ER visit, and a scare about intestinal surgery requiring possible surgery. The program then shifted to political topics, including a heated discussion of the stimulus package and unemployment benefits, followed by a debate over a firefighters' sexual harassment lawsuit. Mikey announced live that his wife Rebecca is expecting twins, prompting a lively conversation about baby names and preparations. Later segments featured an interview with Eliza Dushku about her show Dollhouse, a playback of Paris Hilton's much‑mocked freestyle with Snoop Dogg, and a report on the Trump Entertainment Group's bankruptcy.

Welcome to the show. We are live, and I am glad to be back in here. It's been a real weird few days. It's 6.05, and we'll dive right into it, man. We'll dive right into it. We'll start telling you what we've been doing. 570-1053 is the phone number. Just to let you know, five people on The Mikey Show, myself, Eddie, Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. And yesterday and the day before was best of. Monday was a planned best of because it was President's Day and we knew we were going to be off. And then yesterday, we had to be off because I was in the ER the night before. Just, dude, craziest, craziest weekend ever, man. Friday, we planned, my wife and I, Rebecca, we planned to stay at this hotel for a combination of our anniversary and Valentine's Day. That's going to be really nice. And so by the time I got home, well, I got to back up a little bit. I've had this sinus infection. You guys know I've had this sinus infection. For 20 years. For 20 years. For going on 20 years. Getting old. It's crazy. Yeah. You know, and so I was, I'm going to tell you right off the bat, found out the hard way I'm allergic to the medication I was taking for it called sulfa. Oh, my.
Dude, it's like mystery diagnosis, man. See, I knew it. It really, really is though, right? I'm telling you. And so I'm taking this medication. I'd been taking it. Well, let's go back to last week. I've been taking it all week long. And and here's what the instructions were. Take one in the morning, take one at night. And I was doing that and I was itchy, but I wasn't like rashy. I was just itchy, real itchy, but not rashy. And I wasn't connecting those dots. In fact, I said to my wife, I don't know if we're getting the wrong type of soap or something. I said, yeah. I said, but something's making me itchy. Never in a million years thought it was that. I remember a doctor telling me one time that when I was taking a medication called Z-Pak, where you take two the first day, one the second, one the third, one the fourth, and one the fifth.
She told me one time, she said, you know, on the second, third, fourth days, if you want to, you can double up, finish it early. I said, really? You could do that? She said, yeah. So with this medication that was making me itchy that I didn't realize was making me itchy, on Thursday, I took two of them, doubled up on them. It was enough to push me over the edge. Now, you got to also realize that at the time that I'm taking this medication, I'm not real. First of all, I don't realize it's making me itchy. Second of all, it's not working. It's not working because my body's fighting against it. It thinks that the medicine that I'm taking is an intruder, and so it's fighting against it. So my sinus infection is getting worse. Rob's giving me a look like he don't get it. What I mean is, Rob... No, I was just thinking, because you've been taking that thing for a long time, right? I've been taking it for one... I've been taking it a little less than a week.
I'd been taking it for five days. It had been making me itchy, but then I took two of them and it went. No, I meant like the Z, the Z pack. No, dude, that was a long time ago. I was just using that as an example of when someone told me I could double up. Okay. There's a whole new medication called Bactrim and it's got something in it called sulfa. I found out. Yeah. I found out the hard way. And so here's where I am on Friday when I get home and I'm ready to see my lovely wife and we're ready to leave for our trip. Oh, so it's going to be so romantic. So romantic. It's going to be great. On Friday, I get home and I'm broken out with chills, okay? Full chills because now my sinus infection hasn't been treated for five days and it's, you know, because the medicine isn't working. So I'm full on sick from it. Oh, geez. Meaning that I've got the chills. And a fever. And, you know, that's going on. And then my skin is starting to itch and itch and itch and itch and itch. This is on Friday. We go, we stay at the hotel. And at 2 in the morning on Saturday, I wake up. And I walk into the bathroom at the hotel. And by this point...
The doctor, I've called the doctor because it was bad on Friday, and they took me off of that. They put me on a new medication. They had me taking Benadryl for the itch. Didn't do anything. Didn't even touch it. It's also supposed to take the rash away. Not only did it not do it. Did you call Kaiser? Did not. You should have called Kaiser online. I should have called Kaiser. You know what they're up to. You know what you should have done. That's right. Well. So my wife says to me that when she walked into that bathroom, she wanted to scream but didn't want to scare me. And you guys. What? I cannot. My whole body was raised red skin. Raised red skin? Raised red skin. Like swollen? Puffy, like swollen. Whoa. It looked like I'd been found in the water after a week, only it was bright like rose, like rose red. Yuck. It looked like special effects. It looked like special effects from a movie. And you can see the remnants of it on my arm. It's just, you know, this is faded to nothing. This is a minus five, you know, and it's just, it looks like I had chicken pox. Yeah, it looked like you had like an extreme case of chicken pox where it was like all over. That picture that I sent you, that was so far before it had fully bloomed.
was a 2 on where it was headed to a 10. That's nuts, because I got that picture, and it literally looked like you had the worst case of chicken pox I had ever seen, because the little dots, the little red dots were like so close together. It was crazy looking. It was really, it was the itchiest, most painful deal. Eddie, take a look. Look at this. Now, it hadn't gone anywhere yet at that point. It was just getting bad. Oh, man. Sounds awful, Mike. It felt like fire ants. Sounds really awful. It was awful. So Saturday morning, I wake up and my wife says, we have to take you to urgent care because now I'm shivering, you know. Oh, my gosh. Well, you're a mess. Because I've got the other thing. So we go to the urgent care. They give me a shot and they give me some new medicine and I start to feel better. Sunday's a little bit better of a day. Monday, we have off. And on Monday, totally unrelated, totally and completely unrelated on Monday afternoon, I eat something and immediately throw it up. And it isn't. And I'm not feeling sick. I'm not feeling sick, which is really kind of confusing for me, because usually when you throw up, you feel bad. I don't. I just can't keep food down. Anything I eat or drink comes immediately back up.
And then. Actually, that's not awesome. It was not awesome. Did she just say that's awesome? I think she means from a scientific standpoint. Well, she has some strange dieting techniques. Yes. Oh, I see. I see. I see where she's going with that. She would like that problem. Yeah. She would. Anyway. She would. Not healthy. I don't know who said that. I think you did. Well. Oh, my. So at about. At about four o'clock, it's starting to really hurt. My wife is hanging pictures. She's got her girlfriends all coming over. She's got one of them already there. She's taking care of Jake. I said, I'm going to the emergency room. So I leave. I go to the emergency room and I check in there. They immediately hand me a basin because I'm throwing up. So I'm throwing up. And you're there by yourself? I'm there by myself. I'm throwing up. It's awful. And the pain is getting, is escalating. And when I tell them at the triage, triage, by the way, means they take you based on how bad it is. She says there's people. It was 430 in the afternoon. She says people have been waiting since 1030. Oh, come on. And it's packed in there. She says, I know. She says, but we got to move you up because you're vomiting with the pain. Three hours. I waited three hours. I'm a grown man.
It was so bad I wanted to cry. It hurt so bad. I would stand up, no relief. Sit down, no relief. Anything I did, there was no relief. It hurt. It was so painful. It was so painful that it was making me throw up. It was like the scene in The Way of the Gun when he jumps into all the glass and it hurts so bad it makes him throw up. That's how bad it was. It hurt so bad. And so they finally... They take me back and I got to tell you, by the time they took me back, I felt Lulu. I felt Lulu. Like I felt like I was a little crazy. My wife shows up. They take me back for a CAT scan. They do a CAT scan and they realize that my intestines have hit scar tissue and your intestines are always moving around. My intestines hit scar tissue and they folded on themselves and pinched off. That's why I couldn't put anything in, and that's why I was coming. Kind of like a hose, like when a hose gets a kink in it. It's exactly like that. Oh, my gosh. That sounds miserable. And that's why it hurts so bad, and that's why I couldn't keep anything down. And the doc says, we think it's best to just perform surgery right now. Oh, my gosh. And I said, come on. I said, what is the alternative? He says, let's talk about this. Let's talk about it.
Take a step back, buddy. Yeah. Just do it. Yeah. So I said, well, what is the alternative? He says a lot of times, because it's moving around, a lot of times it'll correct itself. And so let's wait and see if it corrects itself. If it doesn't, we have to perform surgery. Holy cow. So we wait. I feel better. He wants to make sure it's not the pain meds that are making me feel better. So he gives me some water to drink. He says, if you can keep this down, you can go. And I did, and I left, and I feel fine. But if it happens again, we've got to do surgery. Holy crap. Dude, it was one of the strangest. And in light of those days, I just thought, what a creepy couple of days. Jeez. You're a mess. I know it. That's what I said. I'm a mess. Like, if you start feeling the same way you did, you just go in and you go... Immediately. He said if you start feeling that again, you got to get there. Because he says it's life-threatening because it... It seems real dangerous. It's real bad. It's real dangerous. And so if it happens again, I got to go immediately. But I really don't ever, ever want that to happen again. You don't? Can you prevent it at all? Can't do anything about it. There's nothing you can do to prevent it. It's scar tissue. It's there for good. Yeah.
You can't do anything. Well, with the surgery, they'll remove it. They'll just cut it out, and then hopefully you develop more scar tissue, which has it happen later again. No, thank you. I will pass. So anyway, I am no longer suffering from the allergic reaction. My guts are in shape, and I feel great. Oh, good. Yay. I feel great. And so I'm happy to be here. It's really wonderful. 570-1053. Call us. Let's talk. That's our request line number where you can call in and discuss any host of things that you would like to discuss. Jam-packed show today. The actress Eliza Dushku. What? I love her so much. What? That's so good. That's right. She's beautiful. I love her. You know where she's from? Duh. I think Rhode Island, actually. Or Massachusetts. Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, no, no. It's that Elizabeth Hasselbeck lady. She's from Rhode Island. There you go. How did that just happen? Well, he's got a list in his wallet. How did that just happen? Of all the people from Massachusetts. Always keep it with me. 5701053 is the number. And I'll lock it on my necklace. That's right. I'm going to recheck the E's, buddy. So the stimulus package is...
done, right? It is now a law, my friend. It's a law. Handsome Obama signed it into law yesterday. He's so handsome. Yeah. Kind of weird. He decided to do the bill signing at Denver's Museum of Nature and Science before an audience. Oh, of course. Yeah, before an audience. So that's different for, you know. for a law to be signed in front of an audience. Well, I guess you know this news. I think he's an attention whore. I do too. I'm starting to feel that. I think he likes the people to feel like they're a part of things. Is that what it is? Is what I think. I'm starting to feel like there's another side to him that we haven't seen yet too. I don't know why. I think that too. Really? Dude, I don't know, because all this do-gooding stuff in the public, in the public, in the public, I feel like there's something. But he's the boss of the public. Don't we want that? Or what would you prefer, these closed doors, secretive? Dude, no, but that's business. Just sign it at the Oval Office and pass it along. That is just too much ta-da. Well, this is what's going to happen. What's going to happen is we're going to stop paying attention.
Uh-huh. Because we're going to get desensitized. It's true. Totally. It's going to happen all the time. He's going to be doing it. And then he's going to do a reality show. Yeah, he does not. He's on the real world. Come on. So it's $787 billion. That is federal spending. Barak of love. That's right. Barak of love. Yes. Write it down. Write it down. You're so good, Eddie. Here he is. Here he is. In the short term to get our economy moving again. while at the same time recognizing that we have inherited a trillion-dollar deficit, and we need to begin restoring fiscal discipline and taming our exploding deficits over the long term. None of this will be easy. The road to recovery will not be straight. Denver Airport bathroom, you said, right? Yes. She's in the bathroom at Denver Airport. Don't tap your foot. That's right. You do not. Hello. Yeah, see, that's the only weird part. He's in a stall. That's the weird thing. Is he sitting or standing? Make progress and there may be some slippage along the way. You just see the press standing outside the stall. We used to do a hit like that. We did. Toilet commando. Toilet commando. Yeah, that's right. We used to interview people in the bathroom. This is very similar. Yeah, it's a great bridge. Bridge and discipline. That's what he's doing. We'll demand a new sense of responsibility that's been missing from Wall Street all the way to Washington.
There it is. I get a question. Because we're doing that stimulus package where everyone gets 15 bucks at the end of each paycheck, right? Yeah. People who make less than $75,000 a year. So what about the unemployed? They are extending unemployment benefits, so you will collect unemployment longer. You will be able to collect it longer. But those people won't be seeing part of the stimulus package then. Well, that is part of the stimulus package is to extend unemployment. So people that are working are going to get $15 more on each paycheck. And the unemployed people will get more unemployment. So then once they get employed, will they see that $15? I don't know, Rob. You have a job. Why are you so concerned? Because there are people in my household that are unemployed right now. Yeah, so they'll get unemployment longer. But what I'm saying is when they start working again, I don't know. What if they don't get the full benefits of that extra 21 weeks? Rob, I think they will. Then do they get put on? Because there are just so many, like, I want to read that document. Like, I have so many problems with this. Yeah, I don't know every little in and out, Rob, so you'll have to get on the. Because it's bogus, man, and to get on unemployment. He's really upset about Obama's stuff. Because this economy is like, I just went over the weekend, and I went to pay my water bill, and the place closed down. A city, like, establishment where they did more than that closed down. You sure they didn't move?
100%. There are signs all over. It was like some abandoned warehouse thing. What do you mean by that, Mike? No, there were just big closed signs on every window. And I'm watching. It's like I don't have to pay. Yeah, right. I wish it was that easy. You ever had your water shut off? Not fun. No, I haven't. Rob, I don't get it. It's the water company. It's a public utility. Yeah, and they shut one of their satellite places down. Okay. It's not like the main place. Okay, so you had to go to it. But I'm just saying, like, that's, man, to me, it's like. doesn't have to drive down to the water company? Everybody. Well, those of us that, you know, pay their bills. Then I used my stamps and I mailed it out. I'm trying to keep these people employed. Single-handedly, I'm trying to do this. Because it was right across the street. I lived right across the street from the satellite place. So why am I going to go to the post office and mail it, which the post office is across the street from that, when I can just walk in there, say hello to the nice ladies. And don't you have a mailbox? It's that little thing outside your house that you put mail in. Oh, America is such a fast food nation. Oh, Sky. Can you just walk right outside and drop it in a little thing and magically everything goes away? You're nuts. Call me old-fashioned, but I like old-fashioned.
I like to go out and pay my bills and meet new people and, hey, how you doing today? How's that work day going? What is he talking about? Well, that's not why he does it. I know every single banker at my bank. Are you kidding me? They love me over there. I know they do. I'm very entertaining. I know they do, but it's unusual that you do it that way. That's how things got done back... Talk to your dad about this. I know this is right. Back in the 40s and 50s. Me and him would totally get this. They had mailboxes back then, too. Yeah. And even my pop is 77 years old, does online banking. Oh, listen to that. You don't have to go anywhere. You don't have to do anything. It's all taken care of online. How convenient. This is why the economy is failing. This is why? And if somebody were to ask me... If somebody were to ask me, well, why does Rob do that? The truth is I've heard it a million times. I can't even give you a definitive answer why he does it. I like going out and paying my bills. It's not true. If I had to drive 40 miles to go pay my bills, that would be a hassle for me. But I live within two miles of everything. So why not? Why not go wait in line? You never know what's going to happen at the post office. It's an enjoyable thing for you. It's one of your hobbies.
Paying bills. Who likes to stand in line? I can't handle this. Nobody likes to stand in line. I'm not a hermit. You're off your rocker. You're off your rocker. P1 David. He's sitting on his rocker. Go ahead, David. Thank you. Good morning. I seem to remember that at the end of last week... You had made an announcement that there was going to be an important announcement about one of your staff members or one of the Mikey Show members, and I was wondering what the status of that actually was. The status of that is going to happen in the 7 o'clock hour. About an hour from now, there will be a big announcement made on this radio station, on this program. You guys rock. Love all of you. Have a great day today. Thank you, David. I like your energy. Appreciate you. P1 Brandon. Hey, guys. What's going on? What's up, dude? Not much. I think Rob doesn't understand a little bit about that stimulus package. I actually think people who are unemployed are going to benefit more than people who are working that are making under $75,000 a year. How? Well, the people who are making $75,000 a year, they're only going to get $400, which no matter what is going to be $15 a paycheck. But say whoever's in your household, their unemployment ended this week.
Well, they're going to be extended and they're going to get more than one paycheck, which is going to equal more than four hundred dollars. OK, but say say that you get on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have to be assertive. I learned. Oh, OK. What if what if they just got unemployment and they use it for, let's say, four weeks, which will equal about two paychecks on unemployment or whatever? Then they get a job. So then they're just cut off from the, they don't get the extra unemployment, the extra whatever it is, seven, 21 weeks. And are they going to see the extra $15 come on that paycheck now? I'm raising my hand. When you file your taxes next year, they'll say, well, you do qualify. So they'll reissue it to you like they did the people this year. And this is what I'm trying to figure out. If they do that, then it's fair. The guy's wearing a Cape Cod beanie. We're having a serious conversation with a guy. Yes, he's wearing a deep cod bean. I mean, how do you take that seriously? You know what I mean? What did you have to say, Mike? Can I just point something out? Yes, Mike. The man who thought that the extra $15 was the stupidest thing in the world is now desperate to know whether or not. He's ready to have a fist fight over him. Yes, he is. I just find it ironic.
We got some irony up in here. We do. That $15 could buy a really cool beanie, other than that Cape Cod beanie. And Rob, I think that your brothers or whoever you know who's on this unemployment right now, if they go off of it and they get a new job that's under $75K, I believe that they will fit into a tax bracket that instantly provides them with what this bill... He's doing. Yeah, and I'm just wondering that, not even just for my household, but in general. These are questions that have to be addressed. You guys, take me serious. He says he's serious. I am. I'm coming into work with my tuxedo on Friday. Do it. I support you. Somebody's going to take me serious. I will. I do. If you wear a tuxedo, I will finally take you serious. There's no doubt. It's a little short on the arms, though, because it was my great or my grandfather's. P1 Angie thinks that Obama is a media hog, right, Angie? No, no. I wanted to make a comment about what you guys said. First of all, I love you guys. Thank you. But what I wanted to say is the president works for us. Yeah. So you would want him to be out there showing you what's going on. We're not used to seeing that.
So then everyone thinks it's weird and he's being a media hog. But that's what we want to see. We haven't seen that in the past. So I think it's a good thing. I love you. That's what I'm talking about, homie. That's what I'm saying, girl. All right. That's all I wanted to say to you guys. I love you guys. You're great. Keep doing what you do. Thank you very much. Thank you. Yeah, I don't have a problem with Obama doing that. It's just that I think we're going to get real used to it and then not care. You know, right now we're like, whoa, he's talking again about, you know, little stuff. Let's listen. And then pretty soon we're like, oh, he did that yesterday and the day before. I feel that, but I think it's cool for now. I don't. Eddie, you do not. I do not. Why not? I think that... Is it because it cuts into your primetime TV? If it cut into my primetime TV... Definitely not. I'm furious. Forget it. That makes me furious. Okay. Handle your business in a business setting. Take care of your business. It's all about business. When you're doing business. Taking care of business. TCOB. Look into it. TCOB is take care of your business. That's what he's saying. B-I-D-N-E-S-S. That's right. P1 Claire, what's up? Claire. Good. Go ahead.
I want to know, would you guys rather the $400 check in the mail or would you rather the extra $15 a check? No. Rob, just calm down. Please don't ask that question. Go back in time. Go back in time. We just got Rob under control. Big flash on the island. Oh, never happened. I know it. Please. That would be awesome. My nose is bleeding. Oh, no. I'm fine. I'm fine. You prefer that. Yes. I refuse to address that. Rather than hear him talk about the stimulus package one more time. I can't handle it. I'll give you $50 if you shut up. I'll take it. I'll take it. Go car! Holy cow. I'll take it. It's driving us nuts. I'm just glad. I'm asking the questions, man. You're asking us. We don't know anything. And then he says, well, listen, I want to read this stimulus package. Okay, finally, he finds a mistake. What's he going to do then? Call the White House? Hey, I just saw something on page seven. Give me a bra. I need people. You know?
Oh, my gosh. I don't want to get us too late, but Chris Brown has made a statement. He released a statement. No, you didn't. Is it written out in text form, or what do we got? Yeah, yeah. It was like, you know, on paper, he didn't like, you know, get behind a podium and say it. This is all in regards to early morning of the Grammys. That Sunday morning, he allegedly beat up Rihanna, his girlfriend. And so here is the statement. Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother, and other loved ones, and I'm committed with God's help to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts on Facebook or blogs or any place else. These posts or writings under my name are frauds, end quote. So people who surround and love Rihanna.
think that this is an arrogant statement that he doesn't actually say he's sorry for anything and does not admit any sort of guilt in this statement. He can't. He can't because if he does legally he's you know. Right, right. He's hired the same person who did the Paris Hilton media crisis when she was in jail, handled that scenario. He's hired the same person to handle this. But, you know, obviously people, like, I totally get what you're saying about, yeah, if he admits any guilt, they just use that in court and he's screwed. But people who, you know, surrounded Love Rihanna were not happy with that statement at all. Yeah, I get that, too. Oh, boy. I get that. Oh, man, what a show. We've got such a great show today. Eliza Dushku. Eliza Dushku is going to be on here. And hey, listen, Eddie has all this info on the Alex Rodriguez press conference yesterday, which... Mike. Dude. I don't know if I'm going to live past today. I know it, man. Like, we could do an hour on this press conference yesterday with Alex Rodriguez, man. Oh, my Lord. It's crazy. And we've got the audio. Eddie's going to break it down. We'll all talk about it. Speaking of San Diego.
You know those firefighters that were suing the city because they got harassed? Well, they got dough. How much did they get to split between four guys? We'll tell you. Coming up next, Rodney Carrington in the stand-up spotlight. Let me hear you. You're right in there going, shut up, she's next to me. I went home with a fat girl once a bunch of times. I loved every one of them. I picked up this 43-year-old nurse. I was 21 years old. She was big. She was fun, though. We went back to my place, and she gave me a penicillin shot before we did anything, which I thought was really nice of her. What's the big story out there? What are the blogs lighting up about? And today, one of the things that people are talking about is the firefighters that are suing the city because of a sexual harassment lawsuit. They were in a gay pride parade.
A while back, right, Skye? The 2007 Gay Pride Parade, you know, a big event every year that goes through Hillcrest. Hillcrest. And I guess, you know, they were assigned that day. Their assignment was to, you know, ride through the Gay Pride Parade. Hillcrest. And they said that they were uncomfortable with that but had to do it anyway and claimed that they were subject to crude comments, vulgar actions. They witnessed simulated sex acts. Yeah, and then they said after that they had unwanted sexual material sent. to their firehouse because, you know, that's where they, you know, I guess people who saw them in the parade maybe liked what they saw and decided to send some presents over. Really? And so they say all of that equals sexual harassment. And the thing about this lawsuit is this is the second time this lawsuit went through our court system. The first time it went through, the firefighters were acting.
asking for a specific amount um i didn't get to read it all yet it was either they were asking for a million dollars total or they were asking for a million dollars each but i remember a million dollars was the figure um so they were asking for that and the jury deadlocked on that case And so then it went back to trial again, and it's been in the court. And finally, yesterday, the jury came down with a monetary amount of how much money they believe that they deserve for their embarrassment and suffering that they've gone through. Now, before we tell you the amount, do you think that most San Diego citizens are like, quit your crying? Or are most San Diego citizens like, no, you know what? That makes sense. These guys got harassed by these guys. That's not right. And they have a legit thing here. That's how I feel. I mean, I feel like, you know, that's above and beyond their job description, you know, to be in something like that. And if they, you know, voiced that they were uncomfortable in that situation, that they should not have been put in, you know. And kind of humiliated in it. Right. That's weird. And a man in my position can't afford to be made to look ridiculous. Okay, fine. Thank you. Finally. Well.
I have odd feelings on this, Mike. Why? Well, first of all, part of my feelings, in my defense before people start attacking me, part of my feelings... Something's coming. Eddie, something's coming. Sky's got something. I was ready. In all fairness, Rob was ready. Part of the reasons I feel the way I feel is because after this was all brought up and they said they thought they were sexually harassed, the fire department changed their policy and said, you know, starting next year, we will take volunteers for this event. we will not assign people to this event. So they changed their policy. Well, the damage was already done after that point. Yeah, I don't see it. I say you're wussies. I say suck it up. Having to be in a situation that you're very uncomfortable with, seeing sexual acts performed in front of you, is not above and beyond your workplace? Like your job title as a fireman? They were on a public street. I believe firemen are required to do a variety of volunteer community things. Sky, you know what you're doing. You're turning a blind eye into a situation. But Eddie, can't these men feel secure enough in their sexuality? It's not like anyone was touching them. I'm a woman of privilege.
I don't know. And I don't know because I'm all against, obviously, sexual harassment in the workplace. But for some reason to me, this situation isn't it. Well, what if, like, the gifts that were sent were, like, nice edible arrangements? Because in that case, then it's like, hey, that was really nice. Thanks a lot. Yeah, like an edible wiener? Yeah. Oh! Eddie? No. No, Eddie. Why does everything have to be an edible wiener to you? Why does it always have to come down to an edible meal? That's a good question, Eddie. Eddie, answer the question. Eddie's defense. I think that may be the first time he's gone to that. Never mind. All right. What's the difference between this firefighter on his day off walking down the street in Hillcrest and seeing two guys kissing or making out on a bench? Because that's not his job. He was performing as John. Okay, what if he goes to rescue someone from a fire and there's a gay couple making out outside? And not only that, but what if he goes to rescue somebody in a fire and there's a gay couple making out? They think he's cute. They send him something the next day. What if he's at a fire and they're yelling to him as he's in Hillcrest how hot he is and they're throwing plastic stuff, penises? I don't know. Are they edible?
This is my question. What if we put it like, if it was like, okay, well, I'm going to be on a float for our rock station and we're going down this thing and there's guys like... barking and maybe making comments about me that are really inappropriate. Maybe the Mardi Gras float where people are flashing their goodies. Yeah. And if you felt uncomfortable about that and that was your assignment, like somebody assigned you to do that, you have the right to be, you know, uncomfortable in that situation and let your boss know. Sure. And I guess I do, but I totally see what Sky's saying because quite frankly, like, that's kind of like, you got to kind of know that that might happen if I'm going to be on a float and there's going to be drunk guys and I'm going to be, and it's for my job. They didn't choose to be there. It's for my job, though, that I know I'm going to be on a float where there's going to be a bunch of drunk guys. So they don't have the right to say, I don't feel comfortable with that? Well, is that the deal? Here's my question. Did these four firefighters say when they originally had to do this, did they all say, we do not?
want to participate in this right um i don't know exactly how it went down but i have read something to the effect that they did voice the fact that they were uncomfortable with that really that's what i thought it was too that they were yeah against it hey listen if that's a deal then i think eddie's probably right man if you if you say beforehand like okay let's say this sure let's say using ashley's example i say to the radio station i don't want to do this mardi gras thing Because, dude, I'll give you an exact example. When I got out of rehab, I didn't want to be around all the booze. And I remember Shauna wanted me to work this corn concert. Worked at the corn concert. Some dude threw beer up there. It went in my face. I could taste it. It was in my mouth. And, you know, I was pretty upset about it. Now, I didn't file a lawsuit or anything. But, you know, if you voice a concern and then the exact thing that you're voicing the concern about happens. You got it, man. You got a right to be upset. Skye, let's say that Rock 105 is throwing some big thing and they're having strippers there. It's just this big crazy party. And they say, you need to go work it. And you're like, that's not my scene, man. I don't dig that. But they're like, ah, it's your job. You're okay with that? I get that. And I guess this is where I'm coming from because that has happened. That was kind of what the show was. The Mikey show was in the past.
And I kind of felt like, hey, you know, I chose to take this job. I knew that this was part of this job. And, yeah, it's not my cup of tea, but I'm not getting hurt. So being a firefighter, I want to save people's lives. I have to now go in gay pride parades because that's part of my job title. They're flaming, Eddie. They are flaming on the streets of Hillcrap. You know what I mean? It's ridiculous. Let's see. P1 Tango Sparky. Is that right? Did I get that name right? Tango Sparky? Yeah, you got that right. Go ahead, brother. I was just going to say that if you take this situation that it's the fireman versus the city, and you just do a normal person versus someone else who's sexually harassing them, it's the exact same thing. Someone's having stuff done to them that they don't appreciate, and they want something done about it. Yeah, and they voiced concern. That, to me, is the key element. They said, I don't want to do this. And the the the firefighters boss said, well, you got to do it. You know, listen, Sky, what if it was like this? What if you said what if you signed up knowing full well what the show was all about? Right. And then we're going to do something where we're going to go do some remote somewhere. And it's at a place that makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. Yes. And you say.
I don't want to do this because this one is a little above and beyond my comfort level. Maybe we're hunting. We're hunting. Okay. Maybe. Maybe that's the deal. This guy hates hunting. Let's say. Maybe we're all sunbathing. Let's say that's it. Shut up, Rob. Okay, Rob. Maybe we're all sunbathing. Okay, let it go. Really? I'm sorry. You know what? That was wrong of me. Tay, boy. Aw. Got it, got it. I'm sorry. Okay, now let's say, I like the example, hunting. Skye is very uncomfortable with, you know, the killing of animals. So let's say that it was going to be a Mikey Show thing that we were taking a hunting trip. She voices her concern that she doesn't want to go. We say, it's a part of your job, you've got to go. And she goes and while she's there, she sees something terrible. She sees an animal killed. Yeah. Does she have the right to sue? I say yes, because she's voiced a concern saying, I don't want to be a part of this. She was forced to. And you know what else is going to be key? The other thing that's going to be key is what were their specific concerns and did those concerns come to fruition? Was there a specific concern?
I don't want to do this because I'm afraid some dude out there is going to start saying, hey, sweetie, nice buns. Sweet cheeks. Hey, sweet cheeks. You must work out. You must work out. Dot, dot, dot. Which I think is a compliment, but whatever. It's each their own. You're so nice here. P1 Megan. Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning, Megan. Yes, can you hear me? Yep, go ahead. Okay. I just had a question for Skye. It feels like she's really confusing gay rights and equality with sexual harassment. Skye, you made a comment that, well, they weren't being touched. So does that mean that sexual harassment is only being touched by people? Oh, snap. I am absolutely a gay rights activist. I was married by a gay man. That sounds gay. But I believe these firefighters have a point. I believe that sexual harassment, gay, straight or indifferent, is wrong. And you don't have to be touched to be sexually harassed. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, Sky, I can show you if you want. You're wrong. Let's take a moment here. And the more we discuss it, the more I realize, I guess these guys are entitled to their feelings, even though I think their feelings are ridiculous. Oh, wow. Well, see, that's it. See, that's the thing. See, that's the thing. No.
Like, that's why I'm coming from where I'm coming from. Because I think it's ridiculous. I think in 2009, we should be secure enough in our sexuality, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But the thing that trumps that is, I guess, if you're uncomfortable, regardless of how asinine I think it is, I guess you're entitled to that. You're the best. But hold on. You're the one that... Oh, hold on. Those are my feelings. That's your feelings. I love her. Well, your feelings are wrong. You're gay! So how much money did they get? How much did they get? Yes. To split four ways, and there's lawyer fees as well, they got a whopping total of $34,300. That's it? Two trials wasting our taxpayers' dollars. Thank you very much. Wow. Wow. Thank you, Rob. There it is. Thank you, Rob. Enjoy. Oh, man. That's so gay. So, it really is. It really is. It sounds gay. We need to have a new court. Like, we have the criminal, civil, and we need to have, like, ridiculous. For, like, some stuff that's just going to tie it up. A ridiculous court. Okay. Now, President Obama, when he was campaigning for the presidency,
One of his big things was cleaning up what George Bush had done and bringing home these guys. And originally he said that he was going to bring them home. From Iraq. From Iraq in 90 days. He was going to bring our boys home. It wasn't just Iraq's guy. He was bringing the boys home from the war. End the war. Bring them home. Okay. That's true. Okay. And then he recanted that and said, no, he wasn't going to do it in 90 days. It was going to be something more along the lines of 420 days. And so when we come back, we'll tell you how many troops he has just approved to go to Afghanistan, which, by the way, I agree with. I'm going to tell you right off the bat. I agree with it because now he's getting in there. He's like, oh, man, I think I better send some troops. We're also going to hit the sports dirt. Strap yourselves in. And it is the only BMW dealership in San Diego County that I can genuinely tell you that you should be going to. And the 08 Red Tag event is going on at the store. And they have 29 left. They got 29 08s.
So I've been filling in on these numbers. There's only 29 of them left. And here's what the red tag deal is all about. When you go down there, there are certain cars that have been tagged with this red tag. And that number on that red tag is the bottom line. It's not a negotiable number. It's a number that's been set that you're going to like and they're going to like. And let's get rid of these things and move in the new inventory. When I tell you that BMW Encinitas is doing that, man, I'm telling you. It's a good deal. It's a good deal. Check them out on Encinitas Boulevard between the 5 and El Camino Real. It's BMW Encinitas. I love them. They're my place. Receiving a diagnosis of cancer is always difficult to hear, and being denied access to cancer care can oftentimes mean the difference between life and death. Here is a poem that Ashley and I wrote together for Amco. It goes like this. Roses are red, violets are blue. I go to Amco, and I think you should too. Beep, beep. Yep. Ashley wrote the last part. And it was really well written. And I think that it makes a lot of sense. I mean, when you consider this, transmissions, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, and cooling systems, they work with all that stuff. So if you have any of those issues going on with your vehicle, Take it to Amco. They've been doing it since 1964. They know what they're doing. They're the world's best transmission place. And they do complete car care. Drop your car off for a couple of hours. Go get yourself a coffee. And read a book of your favorite poetry. Like this one. Roses are red. Violets are blue. Amco will do it. And they'll do it for you. Why would you take it anywhere else? There you go. Ashley and I wrote that together. Thanks. It's beautiful. Beautiful. Amco is double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. Why would you take it anywhere else? Now, back to Mikey. I text a lot, but I'm the farthest thing from him. Eddie. I gotta tell you, like, the older I get, the more and more I become into, like, history stuff. Sky. Um, you know, your friend's a little sensitive and isn't a big fan of violence. Boston Rob.
I watch a lot of Food Network lately, and it's mostly because of you. And Ashley. I love my bangs, and they grow out so frequently. Save that clip. I know. Save that clip. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Come on, man. All right, so our phone number's 570-1053. Before we went to break, I said, you know, what's up with President Obama? What's up with you, Mike? What do you mean? I'm just saying. I'm reporting it. I'm just saying. Scott, you have to admit, this is kind of shocking, right? I don't know. What is the matter with you today? What is the matter with you? This is like bizarro, Skye. I know it. Come on. I can't handle it, Eddie. Be serious. Be serious, will you? You're such a jokester. Stop with this usual just constant clowning around Skye. Come on, class clown. Constantly with the sarcasm. Skye, sometimes you have to take things seriously. The ha-has. Jeez. Come on.
President Obama says, you know, when I'm in there, I'm bringing him home. Yeah, that was a big message, right, Mike? Of course it was. It was a whole message. Yeah, I'm ending the war tomorrow. Yeah, that's right. He was talking about Iraq. Sky, hello. What's up? What's up? I love him. He's handsome. It's freaking me out. He is handsome. So what did he say, Sky? How many is he sending over to Afghanistan? 17,000. Come on. What is going on? You read it wrong. That's who he's bringing home, right? Yeah, that's the deal. Sending 17,000 troops to Afghanistan. He says this increase is necessary to stabilize the deteriorating situation. That's what John McCain said the whole time. Yeah, that is what John McCain said. He just sent over more troops to stabilize the situation. And Obama's like, oh, I'm going to end the war. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do that. He doesn't sound like that. Well, what he's doing is he's going to take Army Brigade and several thousand Marines who have already been approved for deployment to Iraq later this year.
and shift them over to Afghanistan. So instead of sending them to Iraq, he's going to send them to Afghanistan. What's the difference? It's all sand. Well, Eddie, I don't think that's the point. I don't think we're fighting over the sand. We're not. Thank you, Mikey. We got President McCain. It's just he's in a much, you know, well-spoken, more well-spoken package, and he's more handsome. But he's doing what McCain said he was going to do, too. You know, stabilize the area by, you know. That doesn't upset you. Insurgency. That doesn't upset you, Sky. It doesn't upset me because I trust him. Because I trust that he's doing what's right. I don't trust McCain. What the? They're doing the same thing. It's crazy. I trust that Obama has good reasons for this where, you know, it's not financial gain. It does. It makes a lot of sense. Yeah, two words. Puh, please. So, there you go. Enjoy. I give up. Strap yourselves in now. With the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Here we go. Well, as everybody's talking about this morning, A-Rod held a press conference yesterday as he arrived at spring training. We'll get to that in just a second. But I got to tell you, a very sad story here locally. Local Olympian Mike Whitmarsh was found dead in his Solana Beach home yesterday. He won a silver medal in 96 for beach volleyball. He was on the beach volleyball tour.
Don't really know any details yet of what the situation was. That happened at the house next to my girls. Really? Yeah. Dude. She was, like, texting me off the hook yesterday. Oh, wow. She said a bunch of cops. There was a bunch of people, like, crying on the street. Oh, man. That's a sad story. Yeah, it's crazy. The Saints released their all-time leading rusher, Deuce McAllister, to get under the salary cap. Eddie, talk to me. Now, wasn't it kind of a one-two punch there? Now they got a one punch. I don't know if you heard this over the weekend. The Jaguars released their all-time leading rusher, Fred Taylor. So now they're not a one-two punch. They're a one punch. They're a one punch. Fruit punch and who? Fruit punch. Yeah, fruit punch. I love fruit punch. Hawaiian punch. Well, they must feel real confident in their Jones Drew in there. The thing with Deuce McAllister is, you know, he was coming off another knee injury. He had a torn ACL last year. He played. Didn't play very much. Didn't play very well. So I just think that they don't think he's going to recover fully and, you know, be the Deuce McAllister that they, you know, know. Yeah. So that's probably why they released him.
The Fred Taylor thing was really weird to me. He was willing to take a pay cut. He's the face of that franchise and has been for a long time. I'm sure the players on the team are really upset about it. If you were the GM of the Chargers, would you be interested in either guy to back up LT since Sproles is in his... I wouldn't be interested in Deuce McAllister, but I'd be interested in Fred Taylor. I think he's probably got a year or two left. That's cool. I don't know. We'll see. That's crazy. I don't know if you heard about this over the weekend, that the Bills running back, Marshawn Lynch, was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm. Really? Butter gun? It happens. No, he didn't butter gun himself. He's fine. But he was arrested for it. And the Culver City Police Department is confident they can have a felony firearm charged against him. And it would be a really, really bad situation. I forget why we called it a butter gun. Why did we call it? It had something to do with Plaxco Burris. I don't remember. Because he was clumsy with it and shot himself. Oh, that's right. He said he dropped it. It was obviously coated in butter. It was obviously. Obviously. Slippery. All right, let's get down to it. A-Rod yesterday held a press conference where he answered questions and read a statement about his steroid use. Here he is explaining it. Going back to 2001.
My cousin started telling me about a substance that you could purchase over-the-counter in DR known as, in the streets, is known as bole or bole. Bully or bole. Oh, yeah. Bole! Now, right off the bat, I got to tell you, I'm like... There was something about the cousin talk, you know, like, all right, with the cousin. Yeah, hey, look at that guy over there. Yeah, yeah, it was my cousin, you know. My cousin Vinny. Yeah, it wasn't me. It wasn't me. It was my cousin. And I don't think he's Italian. No. I think he might have preached their own. It's weird. It was his understanding it would give me a dramatic. Oh, it was his understanding. Oh, well, then lock him up. That it would give me a dramatic change. And otherwise harmless. My cousin and I, one, more ignorant than the other. We get it. Decided it was a good idea to start taking it. Now, we don't know who he's talking about, right, Eddie? No. And he wouldn't reveal it. And he wouldn't reveal it. His name is Vinny. It's not. It is not. It is Mark McGuire's name. Would administer it to me, but neither of us knew how to use it properly. And it would only happen in our sleep. No. We didn't know we were doing it. Yes. Providing just how ignorant we both were. It was at this point we decided to take it twice a month.
For about six months. This thing that we didn't know what it was. We had no idea what it was. We thought it was Red Bull. Yeah, exactly. During the 2001, 2002, and 2003 season. Wait a minute. This thing that my cousin, you know, we didn't know. Now, he already told us previously that he was under tremendous pressure during 2001 to perform for the Texas Rangers. And so, yeah, here's what I did. And now he's saying. My cousin did this thing, and I was like, I don't know what it is, but let's take it two times a month. For three years. For three years. We consulted no one and had no good reason to base that decision. It was pretty evident that we didn't know what we were doing. Who in there? A-Rod. Why is that pretty evident? A-Rod. Right. Come on, buddy. You hit 56 home runs. It's pretty evident you knew exactly what you were doing. Yeah. Your body is worth a billion dollars. Hello. And you're just going to start throwing stuff in there that you have no clue. Didn't know. No idea. Who is he thinking, is listening and going, you know what? It's okay. He didn't know. That makes sense. Is this sugar water? What is this? I don't know.
But man, do I feel strong. Now, this next clip has been edited down because originally, A-Rod's pause in this clip was 37 seconds long. He's memorizing the script. Like everyone else, I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. The only way I know how to handle them is to learn from them and move forward. One thing I know is for sure. That baseball is a lot bigger than Alex Rodriguez. And to my teammates. This is where the pause was 37 seconds long. Wow. Now, I, we've edited it for time. It's only a four-hour show we do. 37 seconds. Thank you. Yeah, he, like, you know, obviously was about ready to cry, stopped, sat back, took a drink of water.
So now they start to ask him questions about the steroid use. Questions start coming. Alex, you mentioned earlier you didn't think at the time that what you and your cousin were doing was wrong. But if you didn't think it was wrong, why were you so secretive and so reluctant to ask for assistance with what you were doing? That's a very good question. That is a really good question. That's a good question. Yeah, it is. You have a good answer. You mind answering it? Wow. I knew we weren't taking Tic Tacs. Yes. But peanut M&Ms? I don't know. You know, I knew that it was it potentially could be something that perhaps was wrong, but I really didn't get into the investigation. Perhaps like I would have. I mean, I wouldn't imagine thinking of doing something like that today, obviously. It's a different world. It's a different culture. Obviously. Dude, he acts like 2003 was like 1950 or something. It's like so long ago. We didn't know steroids. What is that? I've never heard of such a thing. I'm not sure what that is. Come on, dude. Alex, since this came out a week and a half ago, there have been a lot of people talking about this being cheating. Do you consider what you did cheating? Another great question. That's a great question.
That's not for me to determine. I'm here to say that I'm sorry. I'm here to say that in some ways I wish I went to college. Are you what? Nuh-uh. They teach you stuff like that in college. Got an opportunity to grow up at my own pace. You know, I guess when you're young and stupid, you're young and stupid. And I'm very guilty for both those. It's because he didn't go to college? Yes. That's 100% why. Obviously, Mike. Eddie, you and me, we didn't go to college? Yeah, and I'm running out right now. Have you seen Eddie's cast? Cock-a-doodle-doo? That's supposed to get me out of bed? Yet cock-a-doodle don't work for me. Know what does? Subway flatbread omelet sandwiches. Western and cheese and double bacon and cheese, each on warm and tasty flatbread. Got a rooster that says that? I'll listen. Try the Subway flatbread omelet sandwiches. And now, top it off with a cup of freshly brewed Seattle's best coffee. Subway, eat fresh. Products may vary. Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the ride is starting to pick up a few more break nights here. We've got South 15 pretty jammed up out of Escondido now from before El Norte Parkway. That's a slow one through Escondido down to Villa Rancho before it lets you loose. Also in the Fallbrook area, we've got an accident on Mission Center Road here just past Stagecoach Road, which is causing a slowdown trying to get to the 15. So maybe give yourself some extra time if you have to get to the freeway of that area. South Bay traffic okay on the 805 northbound. Maybe a brief glitch through the National City.
A little bit heavier, though, from the 15 into North Park, and then another slowdown around Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. The show's the best there is. There's nothing better in San Diego. K-I-O-C. San Diego's Rock. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I love documentaries. Eddie. I like to do what I like to do. I don't care really how I look anymore. I'm just like, whatever. Sky. I love award shows. I love the OC. I love 90210. You know, so when it comes to pop culture, it's my, like, one last bit of youth. Boston Rob. I'm the ultimate recycling machine. It's pretty garbage disposal. It's true. Thank you. And Ashley. I support sweat everywhere I go. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Don't stop. Oh, make me over. It's 720. If you're in your car right now, I'm wondering what time it is.
Eliza Dushku. She's beautiful. Oh, yeah. She's got a new show out called Dollhouse. And Sky has seen it. She says that Eliza plays kind of this person that works for a company that sort of mind melds her into believing that she's whatever they need her to be that week. For instance, one week they mind meld her into believing that she is a negotiator, like a hostage negotiator. But they can mind meld her into believing that she's anything, right, Skye? Yeah, like she can be some, you know, they cater to like very rich people, millionaires, so she could be somebody's sexy date for the night, or she could, you know, be an assassin trained to kill somebody, whatever. Here's Elijah's work. After your five-year term, you will be free. I don't deserve this. I was just trying to make a difference. Trying to take my place in the world, you know, like she always said, and now I'm... So you get that the, uh...
It sounds like maybe she doesn't, they're forcing her. Yeah, it doesn't sound like she's volunteering for this. It kind of almost sounds like she's being propositioned, like she did something bad. And the slate will be white queen. The music tells me how to feel. If she gives five years to the dollhouse. That's the name of it, the dollhouse. Yeah, the dollhouse where, you know, they have a group of people who are basically their dolls who they turn into be whatever they want them to be, you know, whatever the client will pay for. I like that. We're going to have Eliza on the show here in just a minute. Eliza Dushku, gorgeous actress. What else was she in, Eddie? Okay. Oh, wow. That Ashley loves Eliza Dushku. I think we all do, Mike. You asked me, but. I apologize. Yeah, she was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
She's been in a bunch of movies, too. Like, I didn't realize she was the daughter in True Lies. Oh, really? Yeah, she was in This Boy's Life, that movie with DiCaprio and De Niro. Are you serious? Yeah. She was in The New Guy, which I watched this weekend. What is? DJ Qualls. Wow. Oh, dude, it's a delicious movie. That is kind of a funny movie. Oh, that's a great movie. What do you mean kind of? Kind of. No, that's a great movie. That DJ guy, I can't think too much. She's in that very serious, I think it was a documentary, Bring It On. Yes. Yes. Yes. She is the best in that. I loved her in that. So hot. Beautiful girl. So hot. True Calling, which was a great TV show. Which I watched every episode of. I don't understand Sky. I don't understand. Do you remember? Has Sky been like mind melded to be somebody that we don't recognize? I love that show True Calling. And you know who was on that show was Zach Galifianakis. And when he came on our show, I was like, oh my gosh, I loved you on True Calling, blah, blah, blah. And he's like, yeah, I hated that show. I'm like, okay, I'm a jerk. Oh, wow.
It was a great show. She was also in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Jessica Alba's friend. She's a blonde girl. She's really, really pretty. I'm thinking of somebody else. You know who I'm thinking of? Who's the daughter? Who played the daughter on... Who played the daughter? No, I was not thinking of Katherine Heigl. Who played the daughter on 24? Alicia Cuthbert. That's what I was thinking this whole time. This whole time? Until this very moment. I sent you a linky if you want to. Oh, my God. You got it. She's hot. Yeah, she is beauty. I have that poster of her in the office. Oh, I know her now. Yeah. I recognize her from the poster in the office. Yes, yes, yes. The big crew calling poster. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's very pretty. It's awesome. She's pretty, but not who I thought she was. It's a great show. All right. Skye, is the show any good, this show she's on, Dollhouse? Yeah, I really liked it. It's like it kind of was weird at first, you know, because I kind of do it different. So it's kind of weird, like, to kind of get the vibe going. But by the end of the episode, I'm like, okay, I'm in. I'm excited to see what happens next week. All right, before we talk to her, because she'll be on any second, tell us why The Five was shut down yesterday.
This was creepy. When I hear stuff like this, it does not make me happy. Dude. Well, they had to shut down a section of the five near the 78 yesterday because a big old chunk of concrete fell from an overpass. Oh, man. And made a seven foot long and one foot wide hole in the freeway. Did it hit anybody? Luckily, like amazing. No one because it happened about eight o'clock in the morning. Oh, man. Oh, that's crazy. Yeah. So, yeah, just cruise along. Bam. Big old, you know, what do they refer to it as? Like a non-injury structural failure. Oh. An over-the-shoulder boulder holder. That's right. That's what they called it. Didn't they call it that? The technical term. Was the Hulk around? Maybe that was the deal. Is the whole state just falling apart piece by piece? Yes. Thank you. Obama. How dare you. I thought it was. I thought it was Obama. I own damn France. Fine. So a couple lanes of the five right before the 78 were shut down for quite a few hours from 8 o'clock in the morning till noon.
They had to have a big chunk of the five closed down. Thank you. No, I don't like that. Some other things that are happening in the news that you should know about. The governor is sending out 10,000 layoff notices. Make it stop. Yeah, that's right. Look at layoffs. Yeah, so these are just notices. Layoffs wouldn't start until July because that is the beginning of the fiscal year. Just wants you to know you're going to be unhappy. Yeah. Oh, dude. Yeah. Get ready to be sad. I'm starting with all Taco Bell workers. I'm sorry, Taco Bell. You give me the toots. We put all the fast food places on a board to give me the toots. Covered one eye and went eeny, meeny, miny, moe. You're lucky, Wendy's. You win next. It should have been you. Whatever. Have you ever had the chili? Holy cow. Can you grow up? Can you grow up? Why didn't you grow up and didn't make me throw up? You're so stupid. Our phone number is 570-1053 if you would like to have it and you would like to reach out and talk to us. So they say it'll be the least senior employees will go first. So people who have been working in their jobs for the shortest amount of time will get cut first. That sucks. Bummer.
Figure it out, California. Yeah, the California lawmakers had a 30-hour session this weekend. I don't know if you saw any of the news clips, but they brought their, like, their, you know, overnight bags and sleeping bags, and you see them, like, with their heads on their desks, like, literally, like, asleep. Get out of here with that. Yeah, trying to figure this budget out. Oh, please. Yeah, I have no sympathy for you. Did they figure it out? Like, is it all done? No, Mike. Oh, come on, man. Yeah, they said there was one Republican vote that was a holdout from stopping the passing, so now they've got to stop. Start again. I think it was a Democrat. Well, no. I heard it was. They said one GOP vote, and that is your party. Must be a lie. That is your party, sir. I don't believe in it. Let's see. Something else I can tell you about. Mickey Rourke's dot. This is hard to say. Are you okay? Calm down. As if things went bad in this. Oh, no. For Mickey Rourke. This dog passed away. Oh. That's terrible. Yes. He loved that dog. No. He loved that dog. He did? Yeah. Is it a well-known fact? Well, he would carry it around with him and stuff. It was like a little chihuahua, right? Yeah. And a pocketbook? 18-year-old chihuahua named Loki. And basically, Loki really got to his or her height of fame because when he accepted the Best Actor Award at the Golden Globes, he thanked his dogs.
For always being by his side, and they mean the world to him. Every single day. That's all I got. That's all I got is Poki. A Loki. Loki. Poki, I'll miss you, buddy. No, with the L. Loki. Kept him in a broken down van that smelled like farts. That is true. Smelled like farts and dirty sheets. That's really gross. I would inject Loki with pay killers. Yeah, I did. That's a cheat. He was hurt. Oh, okay. Emotionally, yes. I share everything with him. Even my roids. Yes. That is very weird, Mickey Rourke. Taught him that top rope move I did in the movie. Oh, you did? I would practice that. Well, that's probably why he was hurt. I said, come here, Loki. Loki. I'm going to give you the ram jam. Okay. No. The little dog took a lot of ram jams. Okay. Mickey and Loki even recently posed for a PETA commercial, so that'll probably start airing. So just remember the dog you're seeing on the TV is dead. Do you see the tear coming down my cheek? Do you see it? Yes. This is a moment. Yes. We're a little Loki. Wow. 18 years old. That's a good life. It's so old. 18? 18? Carry the five. It's like beef jerky. Wow.
So there it is. Man. Did you guys know that Gordon Ramsay uses a swear jar? What? What? It's the truth. There must be a lot of money in that thing. Yeah. Yeah, because he was on the Rachel Ray show talking about it. We have a small jar. Unfortunately, it's a swear jar in the kitchen. Yeah, this I find ridiculous. Every show you're on is... I know, but that's like... Same swear jar. But in the kitchen sometimes, you slice your finger or there's a break. The children know that it's a naughty word. Unfortunately, I'm the one that was always ending on the naughty step more times than them. And so I don't want them to sort of be slightly wrapped up in cotton wool and not know what these words mean. But they turn around and say, Daddy, we heard you say the F word. And I'm thinking, oh God, right, where do we go? And they're standing there, right, give us the money. Nice. Give us the money. It's the swear jar. Oh, my goodness. Oh, yeah. Well, you know, Mike, speaking of the swear jar thing, I kind of have something. Oh, boy. Here we go. Something similar. Where's he going? He's going. It's more of a bottle of potty talk. Oh, I like it. Yeah, yeah. My brother calls it the beaker of blasphemy. We have a bunch of different names.
Alaska profanities. You're such a jerk. Wait. I made the memory jar one year for my girlfriend, who's now my wife. Oh, wow. What did you call it again? Our memories. It was a memory jar. Memory jar. And I put our memories in it. I kind of remember that. Isn't that funny? Memory jar. I can't remember it. But no, no, no. We have the crock pock of crime words. All right. Crime words. Crock pock. Crock pock. A crock pot of crime words. Isn't that what it is? What is a crime word? Oh, you don't want it. You can't say those on the air. It's like cursing, yeah. The urn of expletives. All right. Come on. Is that a jerk? Come on, Rob. You're better than this. You are. The vasodamets. All right. You're not better than this. Oh, damn it. I like that one. I will order one of those from BostonRob.edu. Yes, thank you. Thank you, Rob. Oh, thank you. Thank you. That sounds fantastic. Thank you. Oh, you're welcome. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mr. McCain. Let's see. A little bit later on, I have audio of Paris Hilton freestyle rapping with Snoop Dogg. I won't listen to that. That is a true story. May I be excused? No, you cannot. Of course she was. I mean, who else would she freestyle with? That's right. You want to read our blogs? Go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. We have our blogs on there and a full show podcast. We do the entire show. The entire show is podcast and available.
at MikeyShow.com. We played the clip for you just a minute ago, but the new show is called Dollhouse. It's on Fox. It stars Eliza Dushku, where she plays a woman who, it sounds like very, you know, like she's very unwillingly being forced into a position to have to work. After your five-year term, you will be free. I don't deserve this. I was just trying to make a difference. Trying to take my place in the world. You know, like she always said, and now I'm... For the Emmy. That's right. I love it. I mean, for crying out loud. Oh, look at that. There she is. There's Eliza. Eliza, I like the dramatic pause like A-Rod did yesterday. Yes. Very good. You take your tips from A-Rod. No, he took his tips from her. Oh, yeah. You did not just compare those two. Yes, we did. It's very similar. Yes, we did. I know you're a Red Sox fan, but you know what I mean. That's right. Yeah, and I know why I'm a Red Sox fan, especially now.
They don't cheat. Red Sox would never cheat. You know, I knew something was going on. Come on. She's the best. Boston Rob on our show. Red Sox Nation. That's right. We got a guy here from... Hopkinton. Hopkinton. On our show. So he was very excited that you were coming on because you're... The hottest girl on film, past and present, the hottest actress ever. Calm down. You were saying that about Ben Affleck the other day. That is true. He is. He is. So, Eliza, you got this new show. It's called Dollhouse, and Sky, our news girl, has seen it. She loves it. Awesome. Did you guys watch it? Did you watch it? Well, no, I didn't. I'll be honest with you. I've been broken out in hives for a few days. Yeah, he was in the ER. True story. It's a true story. I got it on my TiVo. I'm all right now. But don't take Sulfa. Well, unless you're allergic to it. Then you can take it. Sorry about that, man. Yeah, I had a big douche-cou weekend. I enjoyed The New Guy and then watched The Dull House. There it is. Wow, you had a douche-cou weekend. Yeah, I loved it.
So, Eliza. Yeah, no, it aired Friday. And then I've been on the road for the past ten days. I was in New York doing a whole press tour. And then I went to Arizona for the All-Star Game. And last Friday I was shooting hoops for this charity in Boston at the All-Star Game the night the show aired. But this Friday I'm back in L.A. We're having a big, like, a big sort of casting crew screening party. And this is one of my favorite episodes this Friday night. It's like the outdoor action adventure. Rock climbing, river rafting, bow hunting, crazy episode. You are very active. You're a very active person. I am. And look at this. And you love sports and you love your Red Sox. You grow up just always into baseball? I grew up with three big brothers, you know, and my mom was a professor. And so she, you know, she was a teacher full time. So I definitely grew up with... With my brothers and the boys in the neighborhood. And, you know, I played tag football, like, almost every day. Yeah. Summers. And I loved, yeah, my father used to take us to Red Sox games.
Definitely a tomboy, no doubt. And she, speaking of baseball, one of the guys that she used to be romantically linked to was Brad Penny, the pitcher of the L.A. Dodgers. He's going to kill it with the socks this year. We're so excited. Does that mean you're going to get back together with him? Yeah, great question. Eddie has a great question. Does this mean you will get back together with him now that he is a sock? He's a red sock. It makes sense. It makes sense. It only makes sense. Just say yes. I take it one day at a time, guys. Just don't do anything to mess with him. We need him to be good for the season. I've never met him in the wrong kinds of ways, I don't think. You should try to date Jeter or something and mess with his head. Yeah. That would be awesome. He's getting healthy. Everyone in my family is so excited. It was like a joke in the beginning. We were together for a couple of years. I would always say, man, if you're only a Red Sox, that would just be so much. He must really love you. Eliza, let me ask you. We've got Eliza Dushka on the line, and she is in this new show, Dollhouse. It's on Friday nights. She's actually a producer for the show. And it airs Friday nights on Fox, 9 o'clock. You were in the movie This Boy's Life with Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. How old were you in that movie when you did that?
I was 11. Oh, wow. It was your second movie. Yeah. I tripped and fell at one of my brother's auditions when I was nine years old in Harvard Square in Boston. And I got my first lead role in a movie just completely random. And then I was home in Boston for about two weeks. And we got a script. And I put myself on tape. And I did This Boy's Life. And then immediately after, I did True Lies. And then it went, all right, maybe there's something. There's something going on here. Well, when you were 11 years old and you're acting in a movie with De Niro, at 11, do you even get how big that is? Or is it just all part of being 11? I know it. My mom's a political science professor. So she was one of those, like, Robert, who? Like, she had no clue. And I showed up on set and, you know, I used to, like, kick him in the shins. And I was like, this little bratty 11-year-old. I had no idea. Really? But it was nice because then I ended up getting to work with him 10 years later. when I did have a clue, and, you know, it was still the same. I still kicked him in the chin. Well, yeah, yeah. What movie did you do with him later? This movie called City by the Sea with James Franco. Okay. I played a drug addict. Now, I would love to hear about what that was like, seeing him 10 years later. Obviously, you're not a little girl. You're a beautiful woman. And does he remember much of your interaction, and do you? I mean, absolutely. You know, you spend, when you do...
When you do these movies, you spend three months on set every day with somebody. I mean, I remembered him to be, you know, totally just professional and sort of paternal at the time because I was so young. And I was playing his daughter, and as you know, he's like a very method actor. So he was really sort of conscientious about creating a personal connection. So years later when I remember we were shooting in New Jersey and I showed up on the set and I went in and he was shooting in this diner and I just kind of like crept up behind him. I was like, Bobby D. Bobby D. I do that too. Yeah, we all. Let me ask you. That's cool. Let me ask you, Eliza, because you're the first actor that we've had on the air since Christian Bale had his big... You know, outburst. Oh, my gosh. I haven't even seen it yet, but I've only heard. You've heard the audio? No, I've heard about it. You've heard about it. I haven't seen the entire thing. It's very sensational, and it's very real, and it's very compelling because, you know, we certainly don't get to hear actors in this environment, and he's really going off on this DP in the clip that we have. But my question to you is, you know, his reaction to it has been,
Well, the reason that I did that is because I'm a method actor. And so sometimes, you know, what do you think about that? Yeah. Talk to me about this method acting. Does it make you a nutcase? I don't know. I mean, you have to be really good, first of all, to get away with being a method actor. Really? I've seen actors. Like, I don't know. Honestly, I haven't heard it, like I said, or seen it, but I've heard about it. And as far as I know and the way I see it, like, I'm sure that DP wasn't doing anything that wasn't, you know, him trying to make sure that it was a usable take for whatever they're trying to do. So it's kind of, it is crazy to flip out like that because if it takes no good, then all his method acting that he's channeling into that scene isn't going to be used anyways. So it's like, it's a lot. You know, and I think he knows that. He's been apologizing for it, right? Yeah, he has. But within the apology, he's also offering as a reason the fact that he's a method actor. Well, I don't know. I'm not a method actor unless it's a make-out scene. But that's not how I... It's not how you roll.
It's not how you roll, Eliza. Eliza Dushku has a new show. No, it's not how I roll like that. It is not. Eliza has a new show out. It's called Dollhouse on Friday nights on Fox. And from what we hear, it's a really good show. Check it out. We're excited, yeah. And this week is an especially dope episode. It's like the big, outdoorsy Target episode. All right. What do they mind meld you into being on this episode? This week on the... The ultimate adventure partner. And this guy sort of hires me out to take me out into the woods on a weekend. And we're like rock climbing and river rafting and teaching me how to bow hunt. And all of a sudden things go horribly wrong. Kind of like Deliverance. Yes. Someone's being hunted and it's completely insane. But it's definitely a good guy episode because I was actually hunting. Penny in Colorado when we came up with the idea to make it into the second episode of the show. Brad Penny. Yeah. Brad Penny. And so it's sort of biographical, but now that's going to make it sound really bad. Oh, yeah. Now I'm really going to watch. You are a scandal. It's cool. I guess my Maxim cover comes out today. So does mine. Okay.
You're on FHM. That's right. Some of the guys into the dollhouse, because it is kind of a girly title, and people, I think, are a little confused. But between the target episode and the action, I think people are really going to enjoy. Men and women alike are going to enjoy this week, because it's one of my favorite episodes. Nice. Are you doing interviews right now? Are you at home in L.A. right now? I am. I just got home. You having a little orange juice and some breakfast? I was at the All-Star game. Look at you. You're great. All right, Eliza, we got to go. We got to run. Thank you guys so much. You're hot. Okay. Sorry. I didn't mean it. I had to cut her off. I thought we were done. I thought we were done. You didn't say bye, though. I said goodbye, but I was hanging up as they were hanging up on me. It was all happening at the same time. That was crazy. Well, it was, you know, how people are. What is that? You know how they get. I don't know. Mike is a method actor. Thank you. Thank you. Is that what his big announcement is? Yes. Big announcement is next. Oh, snap.
That's right. When we come back, we were talking about this. We were saying I had an announcement to make. I had an announcement to make about somebody on the show and something big going on the show. We'll talk about it when we come back. Hang on. Mr. West. Morning, family. This is The Mikey Show. He said when we came, first of all, we were supposed to make this announcement yesterday, but I was in the ER dealing with some issues that are all resolved, but I had some internal problems going on that have resolved. But anyway, wanted to announce this yesterday. Now we're going to announce it today. Do we need a drum roll? I have a drum roll. Give me a drum roll, Ash. I've got a drum roll. Give me a drum roll. Ashley's playing the drum roll. Well, if she stretches out, nobody knows. It seems like she's just saying drum roll. The news is my wife, Rebecca, and I are pregnant. Oh, my God. It's a baby boom. It's a baby boom. It's a baby boom. Oh, my gosh. Yes. Wow. How did that happen? I don't even know. Did you guys plan it? I don't even know. You boys.
And my wife is on the line right now. Hi, honey. Hi, sweetie. Tell everybody the rest of the news. Well, we're having twins. Oh, my God. That's insane. They are multiple. It's double men. Hey, Brad Pitt and Angelina, come on. I know. I know. I never thought that would ever come out of my mouth. I know. Yeah. Let me tell you, twins is something you always associate with other people. You always go, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what somebody else has. And it was unplanned, and it was... Shocking. Yeah. How are you feeling, Rebecca? You know what? I feel pretty crummy, Eddie. Okay. What's going on? That's what I hear, because it isn't like double the hormones, so you get it back. You know what? You know what, Skye? With Jake, I was really lucky. Like, I realize that now. I had just...
like the perfect pregnancy. You know, I, I wasn't sick one day. I just, I felt good, you know, like pretty much the whole time. And this, this has been a very different experience. It's really kicking my butt, but, um, you know, I'm happy. And, and I, I, um, I think I'm hoping that the worst part of it is, is coming to an end pretty soon, hopefully. So. Well, and. Eddie's wife, Debra, is pregnant. All these babies are coming at the same time, by the way. This is crazy. The reason I say that is because we're six weeks behind Eddie and Debra, but the deal is that because they're twins, they come early. Really? They come a month early. It's going to be about the same time. There's going to be babies all over the place. Babies everywhere. I think Debra and I should just go ahead and share a delivery room. Can we save costs? Exactly. When we save costs, we'll go in doubles for it. Come on, and all the labor stuff will be on the website, mikeyshow.com. Oh, wait. No? No. Didn't we not approve that? No. No live streaming. Are you sure? There is no live streaming. Come on, you know the hits we'll get? Yeah. Hey, creepy. I thought we were going to have the birth cam. Yeah. Okay. Stop it.
We're not having the birth game. The Ashley Afterbirth? Okay, no. What is that? It's called the Ashley After Show. That's what I meant. And it's totally different. You're so weird. It's totally different. Ew. So, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're excited. That's so crazy, man. Our kids are going to grow up at the same age. That's awesome. It's so, and we don't know what we're having yet. We may find out on Monday. Yeah, Monday. We might find out. Whoa. What are you hoping for here? Two boys, two girls, one of each? What are we talking? What do we want? You already got a boy. You want two girls? I think I would like... Be honest. A boy and a girl. Really? Yeah. We have a boy, and so a boy and a girl would be cool. We have two names picked out for girls. Do you? And we have one name picked out for boys, so we need another boy name. No, we just need to have... We just can't have two boys. We don't have another name. It would be the Esparza clan all over again. Too much testosterone in one house. She doesn't want two boys. I don't blame her. Me and four men? Yeah, no way. No, thank you. But you guys do know that they're fraternal, right? We know they're fraternal. What's the difference? They're not identical. So there can be a chance for a girl and a boy. The story of how we found out was pretty...
interesting we're in the we're in there and we're looking at the ultrasound or the no is that right ultrasound looking at the ultrasound the sonogram and we're looking at the one baby and that's all we know is that there's one baby that's all the doctor knows that there's one baby so they're doing the measurements and all that stuff and we spend five minutes kind of oh ah you know that's really cool and you know we're holding hands and everything and it's kind of a neat little moment yeah and we're wrapping up and it's all done and right as She, uh, is about to end it. The doctor is a woman says, hang on, hang on, hang on. I just want to make sure that your ovaries look okay. And so, okay. And you know, I'm release her hand up. My work is done. You're done. Yeah. And, uh, yeah. And, uh, they turn that little wand and the doctor says kind of to herself, she goes, you're having twins. Yeah. And we said, and Rebecca said, and I quote, shut up. And we looked at the screen and you see two little heartbeats going and two little sacks. And we, yeah, our lives really changed at that point because we knew this was going to be our, we were only going to have one more kid and that was it. We weren't going to have any more kids. And so when it was two and.
Suddenly we're looking at three kids instantly? Yeah. Wee. I think Mike said, you know. We already got one. Listen to that guy. A little rascal. This guy's a rascal. This pregnancy was, you know, unplanned. And so we were still kind of adjusting to the idea of having another one. And so, I mean, it's just, it's been a roller coaster, as you can imagine. Wow. Well, we have people calling in. That is awesome. We have people calling in that have twins and want to give advice about it and all that stuff. And, yeah, you know, we had talked about having another kid, but if we were going to do it, we wanted to start trying next month in March. And that had always been our deal. So when we found out, when we found out, I was really frightened. I was really, you know, just my honest feeling was I was frightened. I was scared. Because of your powerful sperm? Yeah. Obviously. Yes, that was why. It has more to do with me. Yeah, it does. Here's what we found out. Twins, we found out, runs on the woman's side of the family. Yes. And so if you're going to have, if you have twins, it came from the woman. It didn't come from the dad.
And that's something that we feel. We're finding all kinds of things out about twins. But there it is. And love you, honey. I love you too, hon. All right, babe. So happy birthday. Yeah, congrats. Congrats. There it is. We don't know. Boy and a girl. Hopefully not two boys because Rebecca, she's going to make her crazy. I'm feeling two girls. Are you? I am. Anybody else? Two boys. I feel a boy and a girl. I go boy, girl. Boy, girl. Wait. You're supposed to go on your feelings. I have a feeling, too. I feel two girls. Yeah, so do I. That's what I'm thinking. And I have, like, good feelings about that kind of stuff. I'm kind of psychic. Let me tell you. Wait, what? And you're having a girl, too. Rebecca is sick. I mean, just nauseous all the time. Which could mean, you know, maybe it's girl hormones overwhelming her. Yeah, but I do hear, you know, when you have twins, you got, you know, like almost double the hormones going on than you'd have with the normal pregnancy. And she's already showing like crazy. Her belly's big. What if it's octuplets? Tell them what Rebecca said. She said, as they were wrapping it up, Rebecca goes,
And she was, the beauty of it was how serious she was. There was no joking in her voice. She said, are you sure that there's no more in there? And she really meant it. It was a genuine question. That's a good question. It was a genuine question. Well, I mean, they didn't see the first, the second one. I mean, you know. I would be like, keep looking, man. Please. P1 Nene. Yes. Nene, how are you? Good. How are you? Good. Congratulations. Thank you very much. And it's going to be a wild ride. You're going to have a lot of fun with it. I'm sure. I have twins myself. They're going on 12 now. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Holy cow. They're 12. Are they real close? They are, but they actually hate each other at the same time. Yeah, I bet. That's siblings. Yeah, I bet. Everything they go through. They are going through the rough times at the same time. Plus, if you caught one of them, the other one bleeds. Is that the truth? I've heard that. I've heard it. That's the deal. I've heard it. One of them just broke her arm on my 30th birthday, and she was fine, but the other one cried. She got sick. She had a headache. She was throwing up. Wow. You can do some awesome stuff with your kids. Yes. Just a test. P1 Mario. Yeah. What's up? Hey, how's it going, Mikey? Good, brother.
I just wanted to say congratulations. Oh, thank you, dude. Yeah, me and my wife just had twins ourselves. You did? Yes. What was the experience like? Oh, man, it was awesome. It was awesome. All right. Mike, fuck up. You're going to do great, bro. You're going to do great, buddy. It's very frightening. It's real frightening. Come on. You're scared. Don't be scared, man. Yeah. It's a thing in the world. It's a what? If I say it's the best thing in the world, it's just incredible. Why is it the best thing? Double your blessings. Tell Mike why it's the best. Double your blessings. Rob! A lot of diapers. I want to buy some stock and hug you. Thank you. Sounds terrifying. I'll be honest. Why? I didn't want twins. I was so scared of that. And my wife was walking around going, oh, I hope we have twins. And I'm like, what? Like one? I don't even know what to do with one. But see, you're a first-timer. Mike's already been there. That's why I'm terrified. That's why I'm terrified. You got it. You got it. You got it. New hat. New hat. New hat. P.U. and Holly. Go ahead, Holly.
Well, listen, I have twin eight-year-old boys. They're identical. And I really thought that I was going to end up with a boy and a girl. But you do not want two girls. There is no way you ever want to wish that on anybody. Really? Why? How come? They are so catty with each other. They compete over guys. They compete over clothing, hairstyles. Not twins, I hear. Oh, man. I have boys. That's the best way to go. A boy and a girl is fine, but two girls don't wish that, bud. That's not good. Yeah, bud. All right. Fine. Stop wishing, Mike. Thank you. You know what? Other than that, it's fantastic. I love having twins. They get so much attention. All right. And they're just awesome to have, but don't wish for the girls. Oh, come on. Do you have to get one of those double stroller things? Dude, that's crazy. You got to get double it. What do you think he was going to do? Just pile them up in one? I don't know. Double everything. Double everything. That's so awesome. Double the fun. Get it? We are moving like my office out to make another room. Where's your office going to go? You know when you first walk in?
That room right there? My new office. I like it. I like what you're doing there, Mike. No one uses those rooms. Those rooms shouldn't even exist. Why do you have a formal sitting room? Who sits in there? Hey, we sit in there all the time. We just sit there and stare at the wall. That's what you do. Well, the thing that's tripping us out is we got a baby seat in the back of the car now. We got to put two more. The whole back seat's babies. You can't have passengers. It's just so weird. P1 patch. Hey, firstly, congratulations, of course. Oh, thank you. The key question is are you going to dress them the same? Oh, man, dude. That is a legitimate question. Great question. I like it. Talk about it, Mike. Okay, this is a great question. This is the best question ever. My answer to that is... And my wife may have a completely different... She does. This is one of those areas we have not discussed. I need to hear what she has to say. Get her back on the phone because I think we're going to answer the same. I say she's going to address them the same. I believe that my wife and I are one. We will have the same thought on this, I think. What is yours think? Undeniably, no. No way. I'm telling you the truth. Listen, this is my thought on twins, especially fraternal twins. They are brother and sister that share the same birthday.
But they're just brother and sister. If they were identical, maybe. But that's a little, I don't know. Maybe if they were identical. But they're just brother and sister born on the same day. Honey, this is a great question that's just been brought up. Oh, I heard it. Absolutely not. Oh, wow. I knew it. Shocking. Yeah, I feel the same way. We will not do that. Oh, that's no fun. Yeah, because I don't think that there's a, if they were two boys, two girls, whatever. I think that, too. If you had two girls, you wouldn't dress them the same? They're sisters. They're just sisters. You know what, Eddie? We were in a playgroup, Jake was, when he was really little. And there were two sets of twin boys in the playgroup. And the moms did this thing that I thought was really cool. They never dressed them exactly alike, but they dressed them like... Like, they would both have, like, khaki pants, and then the shirts would be similar but different. You know what I'm saying? I like that. Give them their own identity type thing. Yeah, they would coordinate, but they wouldn't, like, it wouldn't be matchy-natchy. To me, and I don't know if Rebecca agrees, the same clothes is a little too cute. There's a something. I get that's a little much. A little much. The coordinating is, you know, and I don't have, obviously, anything against people who do it. Yeah, yeah.
But I have this thing about, like, I agree with you, hon. I think it's too cute. Yeah, yeah. And also, I wanted to say, because I was listening, Eddie, we actually have to get a triple stroller. Oh. We have a two-year-old also. I forgot. Well, make that kid walk. Jake, you're pushing, bro. Yeah, get him on a treadmill today. Hey, honey, doesn't he have a job yet? Right? Isn't that crazy? We have to get a triple stroller. That's insane. Yeah, Rebecca went through this period when we found out about, well, what will we actually do? I still don't know. I don't know how I'll go to the grocery store by myself. Well, how do you? You can't. You have, you know. You wait for Papa to come home from work. Exactly. We'll have to split him up, you know. I'll take Jake or I'll take the twins. There's no way that you can fit Jake and two babies in a cart and then still fit groceries in there. Hey, do you guys get that grocery cart seat thing? No. You didn't get that? What is that? I don't know. I saw it at Babies R Us where you buy this seat and you put it in the grocery cart. Yeah, we have that. Oh, you do? That's awesome because grocery carts are filthy. Yeah. Okay, so then we should get it.
Yeah, okay. It's like a sock that fits in there over the stuff. Yeah, you just put it in there, and it's like a seat for them. Oh, that's different. Say what? You can get a kind that you can use for high chairs, too, like when you go to restaurants. Is he singing? Babe, is Jake singing? Yeah. Let me hear him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What is he singing? He's just going, ah! It's really good. That is so great. He's doing an English ambulance. Yes. That's his impression of an English ambulance. He's really good. He's great. All right. Well, I'm very excited and very scared. All right, honey. Thank you. I love you. Bye. I love you. You want to hear the names? Yes. Oh, you're going to reveal? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm all right with names. I'm all right with names. Okay. So the only one we don't have is another boy name. Okay.
What about Sean or Zeth? Too soon? No, too soon. Too soon. Really? Too soon. Okay, so the boy name that we have is Lucas. Edward Robert. No, it is not Edward Robert. It is not. Lucas is sick. Love it. That's what I wanted to call him Luke. The only way Rebecca was alright with it. Yeah, yes. Well, I don't know about that. I don't know. I'm from the OC. Do your best friend a favor. Lucas Skywalker Esparza. There it is. That is awesome. That is awesome. It's hysterical. And then the two girl names that we have. One name that we know for sure is Noelle, and then the other name is Abigail. We'll call her Abby. Oh. Cute. Cute. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Really cute, actually. So what we need is another boy name. We need one more boy name. You guys are good at picking out names. I love the picking of the names. Yeah, you're good at it. I like it. I love it. Hunter. Okay. Oh, no. This is P1 Sammy. Yeah, Mikey. Hey, how are you doing? I just want to say congratulations. Thank you. I myself have twins. You do. And I was surprised by that. But the reason I called you was because there is a storyline in the Bible of a man named Isaac and a woman named Rebecca who actually had twins.
Jacob and Esau. It's in, I believe it's in the book of Genesis. Yes, it is. And it's also in the book of Romans. Yeah. Yeah. And God loved Jacob. He hated Esau. Why? And so Esau will not be a name that we choose. Oh, that's weird. Yes, we will not name the child Esau. Consider it. Yeah. How about Satan? No, we've already ruled it out. Really? Did you think about it? We didn't even need to think about it. We said, you know what, we rule this one out. Sirhan. Sirhan was done. We knew it wasn't going to happen. Weird. Yeah, Sammy, that's a cool story, man. That is a cool story. And congratulations. You have a big job ahead of you. It is tough. And I love my boys very much, and I bless them very much. And I tell him the story every time. That's cool, man. I appreciate the phone call. Dude, I didn't know this. Hall of Famer P1 Sanjaya is a twin. What? What? Yeah, yeah, dude. Check it out. You have nothing to worry about, bro. I didn't know. Yeah. I'm coming from experience, dude. I grew up as a twin. I have a girl twin sister. Wow. You have a twin sister? Yeah. Are you guys close? Yeah, we are.
Wow, dude. To this day, you guys are still close. And you've always been close? We have been. I mean, I wonder if it's any different. I wonder if it's any different than any brother and sister or if there is more of a bond. There's more. Really? It's crazy. Check it out, dude, because, like, some stuff will happen to me and then the same thing will happen to her. Like, there was this one time where I fell down the stairs and she fell down the stairs. You tripped her. Yeah, yeah. That's nuts. Well, not necessarily. I kind of pushed him. Hey, Sanjaya, thanks for the call, dude. All right, brother. I didn't even know it. I didn't know he was a twin. That's cool. All right, 570-1053 is our phone number. When we come back, I got something for you here. Apparently, Nikki Sixx has issued an apology to a fan at the Motley Crue show here in San Diego. What's happening in the world? What are people talking about? What's happening? There's... You dig? You dig? We said that before we went to break, we were going to talk about Nikki Sixx, who's having to apologize. No, Eddie, it was not, because they played new Motley Criss. Oh, okay. It was a good guess. He does owe me an apology for that. Yeah, I agree. I think he does owe all our fans an apology for that. But why was he issuing an apology to a fan at the San Diego show, Skye? Okay, so at the San Diego show. I don't know. Yeah, I'm trying to ignore it. I think it has something to do with my stuff, but I don't know. I don't know. It's the economy. It's Obama. I think it's Obama. What's the weather? I don't know if it's my guts because it was my guts that was a problem on Monday. I don't know if it's my guts or my sinuses or what. I think you burned your esophagus. It could be. From all the vomiting. Yeah, yeah. Could be. Could be. Okay. This guy is a very strange statement. That really makes us wonder stuff that we don't know that we were going to wonder about. Come on now, everyone. Anyway. Yes. Mickey Six.
So if you were at the San Diego show or if you go to any of like the celebrity websites like the TMZ, the Prez Hilton, you've seen this video because they've posted this video because it's Nikki Sixx flipping out at the San Diego show. Really? I guess a female fan in the audience throws a plastic water bottle at him on stage. And then he starts just. saying all the dirtiest words you've ever heard in your life at her he then spits on her has her removed from the show and then while she's being removed from the show she's crying and he's standing on stage mocking her crying no okay i mean it is brutal well after you know people look at the footage and you know post it on all the websites it turns out that nikki six threw the water bottle into the crowd. It hit her. She took it and threw it back on stage. No. So she is throwing at him the water bottle he initially threw first and then has her rejected for it. Oh, wow. So once all the celebrity sites start talking about what a jerk this guy is for, you know, basically, you know, giving her the.
The business. The business. For something he did first, he has now issued an apology and says, quote, I threw a bottle of water to some fans and didn't realize the very bottle I threw to the fans was thrown back at me. I have to admit, bands get pretty pissed when people throw S at you on stage. Apparently so do audiences. Yeah. I didn't even think it was the same bottle. So with that being said, I'd like to say I'm sorry to the fan who threw the bottle back at me. I accept. Right. After you humiliated me, spit on me, and mocked me. Yeah. There's a lot of statements being made right now. That's horrible. There's Nikki Sixx's statement. Yes. Michael Phelps made a statement that we'll tell you about later on. This all on the heels of Kenny Chesney's statement to Playboy magazine that he's not gay. Oh, yeah. Was anybody asking? Is anybody? Yeah. I wasn't. Were we? I don't know who he was. Well, when Renee Zellweger filed for divorce on the basis of fraud, it did get some people talking like, what is fraud? I can speak on this. This is George Takai. George Takai. How would you be able to speak? I can actually tell you a little bit about it because I had to laugh when I heard this rumor about Kenny. Oh, really? Why? Well, he is not a gay man like myself. How do you know? I had him over for Cosmos, Eddie. Oh, really? You're friends with Kenny. Yes, he came over. We had Cosmos.
and we were both giggling about it. Oh, is that right? And then we popped in Yentl and we had a little sing-along. Now, wait a minute. You're watching Barbra Streisand movies, Takai. Well, no, just Yentl. Okay. Okay, that's weird. That is weird. I'm starting to wonder. Kenny is very manly, I'll have you know. Is that right? Yes, I'm not sure if this rumor, how this even came out, because, for example, Kenny was over just the other day, and we were rollerblading. And Kenny Chesney was rollerblading. Yes, we were in cutoffs, and I fell, and I scraped. my knee. And he ripped off his tank top and wrapped my wound. Is that right? And it's a good thing that the tank top was pink. Wait a minute. I'm starting to really wonder.
What's going on here? Then, Eddie. There's more to the story. Then he carried me four blocks back to my condo and nursed me back to health. Kenny Chesney nursed you back to health after you two were rollerblading. That's right. And you fell and scraped your knee. That's why he's straight, yes. He's a hero. The pink one, yes. Okay. What gay man would do that? Can I give you another example of why Kenny Chesney is not gay? I'm not convinced yet. Well, the other day I was over at his place and he was working on one of his cars in the garage, which is very manly. That's true. It was one of his nicest convertible cabriolets. Oh, that's... See, George. I don't know if you know this. No, he was working on it. It was parked right next to his rabbit. Okay.
You know, Eddie, now that you mention that, sometimes Kenny and I would just get together with our boys. We would hang out and we would have a movie night. We would sit around and we would drink beers and eat pizza. Let's see. I'm trying to think what we watched last week. Oh, yes. It was Kenny's turn to pick. And, of course, he wanted to watch, you know, guy sports movies. Oh, that's cool. And I'd never seen a league of their own. No, that's not. Oh, wow. It wasn't so bad. Yeah, with Donald. Great film. It was Andy O'Donnell. sitting there cuddling, and I thought, man, this is a guy thing. This is such a guy movie. Okay, again, you're not helping. Besides, Eddie, would a gay man book a horseback riding lesson with the Rainbow Riders? Yes, they would. Yeah, Eddie. Yes, I've answered it. You know, guys, I was talking to Kenny Chesney at our...
Thursday picnic party for two. Oh, wait. That sounds fun. Who doesn't do a TPPFT? I know. Thursday picnic party for two. Oh, wow. I didn't catch that. TPPF2, anyway. We had just finished our Ticklathon. Again, that sounds fun. Anyway, E.T. It was great, but he told me that he thought that lady Sebastian Bach was beautiful. He does have nice hair. And so, obviously, he's into chicks. She's a gorgeous, tall supermodel. She's getting older now. She's absolutely gorgeous. Kenny's not gay. I think Takai proves it. I think it's improved, so there you go. I have a list here, or Sky actually has a list. Sky has a list, a wonderful list. Sky, would you like to tell us about the list that you have of the best one-liners ever, best movie one-liners? Look, I am your father. Put it on the board. Put it on the board. Put it on the board. There it is. So you're saying. No, stop that. How do you like them apples? Can you please?
Okay, I need everyone to go slower. Have we hit one of them yet? Have we hit one of them? Use the force, Luke. Use it. Do you like Apple? No. May the force be with you. We landed on the moon. May the force be with you. No. Did you hear my Star Wars ones? No. No. What does that even mean? No. No, I have not heard that. I have not been listening to you at all. Kenny Chesney has a guest. He's on the line. Kenny, are you there? Oh, yeah. Go ahead. One of my favorite movies. I'll have what she's having. Yes. Harry Met Sally. It went Harry Met Sally. No. Sorry, Kenny Chesney. Hi. What about? No. Something from James Bond. Yeah. Bond. James Bond. James Bond. No. P1 Gnome. Noam. Sorry. Noam. You complete me. Good line, but no. These are all dude movies. They're all dude movies? Yeah, at least to me. We're going to need a bigger boat. Yeah.
Show me the way to go. I'm tired and I want to go to bed. Show me the way to go. Yeah. Ever since I can remember, I want to be a gangster. Wow, that's a long one. He said it really well. Gangster. Sky not on there? No. Got it. You're talking to me. You're talking to me. You're talking to me. You're talking to me. Number nine from Taxi Drones. You're talking to me. Hey, you're talking to me. Oh, we heard you. Oh, Rocky's famous quote. Duh. Duh. Yo, Adrian. Yo, Adrian. No. More eggs. More eggs. I did it. Is that what he says? Hey, I'm going to punch you in the face.
I'll beat you up, Mr. T. Yeah. That's a famous one. P1 Rude Dog. Hey, how's it going, Mike? Good. Hey, how about Dirty Harry, Go Ahead, Punk, Make My Day? There it is. Oh, yeah, Sky, put it on there. That's a great one that's not on the list. How dare you? How dare you? Can the force be with you be on there? You. P1 Texas Red. I got one. Okay. How about I'm your Huckleberry? Oh. Oh, boy. What is that from? From Huckleberry House. From Tombstone. Wyatt Earp. No. Is it Tombstone? Yes. I'll be a Huckleberry. No. P1DC guy. Hi. How about from Silence of the Lambs? I ate his liver with some farba beans and a nice janty. Can we save that clip? Can we save that clip? Because that man just sang right now. Yes. I ate his liver. With some fava beans and some nice chianti. Where are you from, sir? That's awesome. I'm from Mexico. Oh, that is delightful. That is a delightful accent. And when you imitate Hannibal Lecter, it is something I would like on my ringtone. That's how delicious it is. But sorry, not on the list. Not on the list. Guys, what kind of movies are these? Guy movies. I wish I knew how to quit you. Thank you. That's got to be on there.
Check it, Skye. Check the list. The ultimate dude flick. That is the guy who he finds, too. The ultimate guy flick. Come on. Yes. Hello. Is it on there? No, it's not. What about why so sweet your eyes? You can see her face when she does that. That was actually a clip. No, it was not. Is that on there? My house smells of rich mahogany. Is that on there? No. I wish I knew how to quit. Check the list again. It's got to be on there. Oh, you're so money you don't even know your money. You don't even know your money. Yeah, that's not the clip exactly. You get it. I was paraphrasing. Oh, Rob. All right, Sky, what did we miss? Hold on. Number 10. I'll give you the movie. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Apocalypse Now. Apocalypse Now. Oh, shoot. I love the smell. I love the smell. I love the smell of Bengay in the morning. Oh, God. Robin Williams in that movie he was in. He's not in the Apocalypse Now. Rob. Rob. Number 10 is from The Shining. Oh, here's Johnny. Here's Johnny. Yep.
Are you telling me that I love the smell of napalm in the morning is not on the list? That is what I'm telling you. This list is flawed. Number seven is from the Italian job. Oh. Get out of my face. Get out of my face. Is solid rubber. Is that it? Is that the clip? Star Wars not on the list. The Italian job made it. You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off. I don't even know what that is. Can you not yell at me? That guy that put the list together says that in his office to his buddies. And his buddies are like, what movie is that from? Or is it even from a movie? Number five is from Sudden Impact. That's Knowledge Us. That is not. There's nothing in Sudden Impact. That we know of. It says, go ahead, make my day. Dirty Harry. That's what that guy said. Oh, I didn't. He said Dirty Harry. I thought that was the name of the movie. You are ridiculous. She is. Well, I apologize to you, sir. Number four is from Top Gun. The padding is full. I feel the need. Come on. Are you serious? Who made that list? I feel the need.
Need for speed. Sounds gay. That dude. Come on. We guess broke back. You know how you're gay? You have that on the list. And then finally, number two is from This Is Spinal Tap. Sky. What? The quote is, these go to 11. Oh, that's so dumb. That to me would be funny enough. You have a horrible, horrible list. Thank you. Thank you very much. When we come back, we are going to hit on a couple of things. First of all... What's happening? That's right. First of all, when we get back, I want to talk about... Eddie saw a new movie, and I want to hear how it was. I want to hear your rundown of that. By the way, Eddie says we're going to have a blind movie critic on this week. Awesome. This is amazing. How crazy is this? Well, obviously, the only blind movie critic there is. and he's going to break down the Oscars for us on Friday. That's awesome. He listens to the movies. He doesn't see anything, but he listens to them, and he can tell you what his experience is based on that. That's great. I also want to talk about Sky's Valentine's Day, if you don't mind. Oh, yeah. Yummy, yummy. Romance. Yeah, get ready. Get ready for the sexiest story of your life. Oh, yeah. I mean, get ready for the sauciest.

If an SUV is cheaper, I'm still going to go for a hybrid because my motivation is... I love the Republicans. I love the Democrats. You're obviously sexist and a horrible... And Ashley. I mean, literally, like, my brain is blank. Mikey shows on Rock 105.3. Eddie, get it? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I've been threatening to make this video now for a year. Oh, we're going to make it this week? No, we're not. Okay.
Eddie, you're making it this week. We haven't even practiced our choreography. I know, you're right. It's coming soon. I see a lot of lip gloss. That's all I'm telling you. If I'm doing this, I'm doing this legit. That's what I'm talking about, Eddie. He's doing it. He's doing it right. Welcome back. It's 854. And I would love to discuss what Eddie thought about this movie, Taken. This is the movie with Sir Lord Nielsen. Yes. Sir Roosevelt. Sir Roosevelt. Too soon. Really? Sir Liam Nielsen. He's not been knighted, but I like to call him Sir Liam Neeson. Yes. Qui-Gon. Yes, Qui-Gon. Too soon. What is his name? Liam Neeson? Is that right? Yeah. Is it good? It was pretty good. What? It reminded me of, like, if... if Bourne and the Bourne movies were real old. Who wants to see an old guy be like J.C. Bourne? I loved it. He still kicked ass. You liked it, Ash? I loved it. Well, calm down, first of all. Eddie, you were eh. I thought it was pretty good. I mean, it kept me entertained for the two hours or 90 minutes or whatever it was. Dude, how hard is he, though? Yeah, he's like old Bourne. He's so hard. He's like an old Bourne. See, Ash, I know, would be built in to love it because her dad's like an FBI guy.
He's kind of a spy guy who retires and his daughter gets kidnapped and he's like, I'm going to get you guys. I'm going to get you people. I heard that's not the way he talks. It is, which made it more entertaining. Should you give it a thumbs up? Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't the greatest movie, but it was pretty good. I liked it. Far less than Ashley, apparently. Is it good enough to pirate? Anything is that good. Okay, you guys want to hear the most romantic story ever? I'm dying. I thought mine was pretty good, but we'll see what the ladies got. Well, let me tell you something. Just to kind of give some context to this, Eddie booked a room at the Marriott for his lady and him. Oh, yeah, dude. Went to Roy's. Oh, yeah. Their new location at the Marriott down there. Bunch of P1s, too, right? Yeah, a bunch of P1s work at Roy's. That's awesome. It's a great restaurant. Oh, it's awesome. And it was a surprise. She had no idea that I had, you know, secured a room, stayed the night there, overlooking the ocean.
Forget about it. Come on. You're real good. You know it. That is fantastic. Show off. Hey, by the way, speaking of, I went to the Pamplemou on Valentine's night. I'm covered in hives. And I still went. And sitting right next to us was one of the couples that won the opportunity to go. And they were loving it, man. They had a big old thing of truffle fries in front of them. And they were loving it. And so there I was at Pamela Moose on Valentine's night. Eddie was at Roy's. Beautiful restaurant. Nice, romantic Valentine's night. Skye, how about you? Oh, no. Don't. Please don't say what I think you're going to say. Come on. What do you think she's going to say, Eddie? Well, there's only one restaurant that Skye goes to. Yeah, but surely she wouldn't go to that restaurant on Valentine's Day. Absolutely correct. Shut. Well. You know, I'd like to first say that the husband and I have been together for 11 years. Okay. What does that mean? Why are you having to point that out? I'm just saying. Why are you having to point that out? I'm just saying, you know. But you've been like this all year. I'm just saying that, you know, things change with time. Nothing's changed. Yeah, it's apparently nothing. You know, I mean, it's our 11th Valentine. Did you go to Outback? What's up? Did you go to Outback? That'll be fun. No, Mike, it wouldn't be fun. Well.
I suggested going to Benihana, but then was informed that it's not my birthday. I don't know what that means. I don't know what that means. I'll tell you what it means. It means, listen, this is not a nice thing, okay? This isn't a special occasion. This is not a special occasion. This is Valentine's Day. Then we went to Outback at 4 o'clock, hoping to beat the rush. Hey, senior citizens. At 4 o'clock, an hour wait. Wow. An hour wait. And the boo, a.k.a. my husband, as we sat down, said that basically didn't want to wait an hour and suggested that we go to Spires, which is the diner next to our house where we go to get hamburgers and fries. It's Valentine's Day. He didn't make any plans. And I shot him a look that must have conveyed to him that we are waiting an hour. We are not going anywhere. And we waited an hour for our little buzzer to go off. And then we enjoyed ourselves some Outback Steakhouse. It was delicious, by the way. Eddie.
Will you send him some romance lessons? I mean, it's not that difficult. We've been together for 11 years. That doesn't matter. 11 years. You've been doing this since I've known you. What? There's been no like special romantic. There has been romance that first year. Okay. I remember a very special birthday in 1997. I mean, granted, it was my 21st birthday, but it was special and romantic. Come on. It was a hotel room with a fireplace near the beach. It was beautiful. That sounds banging. No, it was. So, what did you order? Well, we always order. They share. Tell them what we order. This is the most ridiculous thing they do. I do. I actually know what they order. They, first of all, share. The seared ahi tuna, which is weird because Sky won't eat fish anywhere else but Outback. Outback is the only place that I'll eat. And then they order, I believe, the victorious filet and they split it. Can we just talk about that for a second? The large one. The large one, Eddie. The large victorious filet. Because we're sharing. Listen, I think the Outback Steakhouse sounds fantastic.
It is. There's nothing wrong with it. It's delicious. But it isn't what I think of when I think of fine, fresh seafood. An hour wait at 4 o'clock. Well, it's a steakhouse, Mike. You know, it's a chain steakhouse. I don't think to myself, wow, you know, they're getting it right off the sea in Poway. Right by the sand. That's the only place I will enjoy seafood. The only place. It's off the dock, right? I mean, please. Out back. I love it. Oh, shit. That was delicious. Well, there it is, ladies and gentlemen. Maybe for my birthday, we can go to Benihana. Well, maybe. It's not going to get crazy. We'll see. You know that cat of hers is in the hospital again? Oh, that baby little dito. Her little kitten, dude. I mean, it's just a money pit. Oh, no. It is. We had to go to animal urgent care over the weekend. Good night, sweetheart. No, I meant to say, you know, I'm going to take a nap. Good night. Put it down. Well, she was. Did it have hives? No. That was Mike. That was me. She was spayed on Wednesday. So was I. Really? That's so weird. That's weird because that's a female surgery. But anyway. No. Yeah. And so after she was spayed, we could officially adopt her from the Humane Society. And basically when you officially adopt them, they say, okay, this is now your responsibility. Good luck. Take care.
So she doesn't like to be calm and she doesn't like to sit still. And we tried and she's got stitches running down her belly and she's doing like Spider-Man moves from like the cat house. This tickles Skye and Skye alone. I have to tell you, now we as our friends, you know, we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, and she's like, you know, you guys go through this. I try so hard. to keep her calm and all she wants to do is fight me. What's wrong with her? She's a kitten. Get rid of it. Is that normal? She can't help herself. She's a torty. She's got tortoises. What is that? What is that, Skye? I thought she was a calico. Is Skye on something? Something's wrong with her today. I love it though. She's on something. Seriously. I thought she was a calico, but I was informed at Animal Urgent Care that she's actually a tortie, and sometimes torties suffer from a little tortitude. Okay. Who knew? Who knew? Anyway, so basically, since she won't stay calm no matter what we do, she keeps building up this mass of fluid underneath her stitches. It literally looks like she has, like, an udder. Oh, Skye. Oh, God.
Can you please? Come on. We took her to Animal Urgent Care on Sunday. Shut your mouth. You didn't even know there was such a thing. And they drained it, and then they, like, put this bandage around her really tight on her midsection to try and keep it from coming back, which I refer to as her tool belt because, you know, her daddy wears a tool belt, so she has to have one, too. Dude, at points like this, I don't know what to do anymore. Draw little hammers on the side of it. I give up. You're an adult woman. She's in tears right now laughing. This has been her favorite thing today. She's dying laughing. She's dying laughing. She's nuts. I've never experienced anything like this, Mike. She's a goner. She's like Papa. We've lost our audience. No one is listening right now. No one is listening. She literally has tears streaming out of her eyes. Streaming out of her eyes. Oh, my gosh. A kitty tool belt. Oh, my gosh. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. Guys, do not provide milk or wool or meat. Or tools. Or tool belts. You don't know.
So anyway, last night we undid the wrapping, took the tool belt off and the udder's back. And so we have to take her back to the vet again and pay like another hundred bucks again to get it drained. I don't know. You have a screw, Liz. I don't know. In the tool belt. That's right. I love her, though. Oh, man. I love her. Oh, my God. My goodness. I'll send you pics. No. First of all. Oh. When we come back, we're going to do the sports dirt and more of A-Rod's crazy press conference. Oh, man. Dude, A-Rod's press conference is nuts. We're going to give you all that. The bosses over at GM and Chrysler, they're making more demands. Wait until you hear the rocks on these guys and what they're asking for. It's next. This is the Mikey Show. You've given everyone a start of my day, so we thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Rock 105.3. What do you get when you cross the state of California? Mikey. Rock 105.3. Because Eddie says that on Man vs. Wild, Bear Grylls ate bear poop. Basically. But he ate stuff out of the bear poop to survive. Yeah, well, you know, like, the bear has a quick digestive system. So, like, if it eats nuts or berries or fruit, it doesn't, you know, fully digest. So all he does is, you know, take a piece out, rinsed it off of his canteen, and popped it in his mouth. And he goes, ooh, that's sharp. Oh!
That's so gross. He barely rinsed it off, too. It's like a quick wash. Dude. That's so gross, man. He is something else. He goes, imagine eating an apple smeared in dog poop. Okay. I don't want to imagine that. I don't want to imagine that. I don't want to imagine that. Oh, thank you. That's brutal. Sky, how much would it cost to get you to eat that? Look at her. Well. What if it was at Outback? Right? You know, everybody has their cost. I would do it for like a million dollars. What am I eating? A berry from bear poop. You can wash it off with your own canteen. Well, thank you, Eddie. That makes it so much better. How much? And am I guaranteed it's not going to kill me? Yeah. I don't know if it's guaranteed.
You can get parasites and stuff from anything. Okay, you can get parasites. So we're talking about you in an apple. And I have access to medical care. Yeah, bear does. Yeah. Okay. I would say, realistically, I would do it for... Gold. Solid. Gold. One brick. Yes. One fork. Kilo brick of gold. That's approximately 8.27 pounds. Okay. Easy. I would do it for $50,000. $50,000. Wow. $50,000. That means $45,000? Uh-uh. Well, I don't know. We can talk, but that's an easy number for me to be like, okay, I'm going to do it. It's the starting bid.
Like, if we go lower than that, I may have to think about it. There may have to be discussions. But if I have quick access to medical care and I have my canteen of water. You must chew. Okay. It's sharp. She just stared at me for a good four seconds considering. Recognize. It's sharp. What kind of berry are we showing? It was an apple. No. It was a piece of apple. Was it really? No, about that big. About an inch long. Got to chew it. Yeah. Okay. It's sharp. 45? 45. Well, I prefer $50,000. Okay. Would you eat dog poop for $50,000? No. No. No, Eddie, no. I don't know. I'm asking you. No, would you? $100,000. For dog poop? Yeah. You couldn't pay me. I don't think I could. I don't think I could do it. I couldn't get it out. Sky, come on. A million dollars? Cold hard cash. A million. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Okay. Here's what I want to ask Sky. Oh, my.
from the bear, but you got to do both at this. You got to do the bear and the apple at the same time. A million dollars. Wait, what? What? It means you don't get to rinse it off. Oh. No rinsy. But I can shake it off. You can shake it. And I have access to medical care. How many times do that? I have to make sure. I don't want to die. You're not going to die. It's just going to be disgusting. And you're saying. A little sharp, though. A little sharp. You're offering me a million dollars. Yes. Yes, I will do it. Oh, you're a pig. You got this. Why am I a pig? You bear poop. Oh, man. You're gross. All right, Skye, so what is GM and Chrysler telling the government they want? Well, they filed their paperwork for their restructuring plans. You know, they got a bunch of money. GM already got $13.4 billion. Chrysler already got $4 billion. And they have filed their plans. And da-da-da-da.
They want more money. Oh, come on. Get off it already. And they will fire people, too. Are you serious? So they will cut jobs. So GM wants another $16.6 billion. They say worldwide they'll cut 47,000 jobs. They also plan to sell off or get rid of Saturn and also Hummer. Saturn. Are you serious? Saturn's a great car. I like to play the leaders. Thank you. I don't know why I played that. I don't know. Chrysler wants another $5 billion, will cut 3,000 jobs, and will stop producing the Dodge Aspen, the Durango, and the PT Cruiser. I'm really into cars, so for me to say goodbye to a car is kind of tough. Saturns are great cars, by the way. They're built really good. Great cars. Yeah, they're really good, and if you get in a wreck, they're supposed to be real good. Safe. The Durango. Yeah, they're a good grandma car. The Aspen. I'm talking about a little place called Ass. Eddie, what is that? How many Dumb and Dumber references this morning? It's always Dumb and Dumber. It always comes back. It's all she knows. Thank you. So more money they want, more billions. All right. It's time for us to do this and talk about this a little bit more. Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie.
Alex Rodriguez held a press conference yesterday as he arrived at spring training. We'll get to that in a second. I'll give you a couple other stories, including the commissioner of baseball, Bud Selig, says he's not the one to blame for all this steroid stuff. Don't blame me. Don't look at me. It's not my fault. What do you think of that, Eddie? You know, it happened on his watch. Yeah. So, you know, he's saying that, well, you know, I tried. I tried to get rid of it. The union fought me and blah, blah, blah. Yeah. But I'm like, still, dude, you're the commissioner of baseball during this era. I don't care how much the union fought you. You could have got this done. I just, you know, I don't know about you, but I wonder. I'm like, I wonder what that day actually looks like. You know, just, I mean, now it's, I mean, it's, to be the commissioner of baseball right now is very difficult, I'm sure. But I wonder what a typical day is like. It sounds so. Boring, man. Really? I mean, I don't know. I would love... It's a very powerful position. We've talked about how cool it would be to be like a GM for a football team, dude. Oh, hell yeah. I mean, especially right now. Yeah. It'd be fun. Absolutely. It'd be a fun job. I would love it. Commissioner of baseball? I'm like, oh boy. It's almost like a political position. Yeah. You know, which I'm not interested in. And you know what, man? You're right. He can't just sit there and say...
Yeah, I didn't have any idea anything was going on. Yeah, your hands aren't clean, bud. Yeah. You got to take some responsibility, bud. Well, Ken Griffey Jr. looks like he's going to find a new home. It sounds like he's going to sign a deal with the Atlanta Braves. So that'll be kind of interesting. The Rockets' Tracy McGrady season is over. He's going to have to have microfracture knee surgery. and Vincent Jackson pleaded not guilty in that DUI charge that took place on January 6th. Really? Yeah, so we'll have to wait and see what happens in his trial. All right, let's get to the A-Rod stuff. Alex Rodriguez in his press conference yesterday. Yeah, okay, so Alex Rodriguez on why he reached out to Katie Couric after he lied to her. Alex, you were a little over a year ago in a 60 Minutes interview. You said you had never taken anything. Last week in the ESPN interview, You said what you said, and now you're clarifying it even more. You're telling us even more. There have been progressively the stories have been different. What assurances can you give us that everything you're saying today is the whole truth and there's not going to be something more that's going to come out that you're going to have to answer for several months or years from now? Yeah, I mean, look, I may have to answer them for the rest of my career. I mean, that's the position I put myself in. As far as Katie, I reached out to her about 10 days ago.
And look, when you're in denial, when you're not being honest with yourself, it's hard to be honest with Katie. Wow. Isn't this saying when you're not being honest with yourself, it's hard to be honest with others? Yes. Okay. Just specifically Katie. But I'm asking myself, he was in denial is what he's saying? He's saying that like what he thought, what he was taking, he didn't really think. Or equate to steroids. That's what I don't understand. It's BS. That's why you don't understand it's BS. But, you know, I'm trying to wrap my head around the BS-ness. The logic of his BS? Yeah, like, dude, if you're going to BS, your BS should somehow make some sort of logical sense. This is five years ago, A-Rod. This isn't like it was, you know, decades ago. Steroids? What's that? 2003, we knew what steroids were, bro. Well, he didn't think that it was steroids, Eddie. He goes on in the press conference to say he didn't think it was. I didn't think they were steroids. I mean, that's, again, part of being young. He thought they were pop rocks. Yeah, apparently. He thought it was pop rocks. Stupid. What did you think it was, Alex? Thank you. You know, because you were taking a pill or you were putting a shot in your bum, right? Yeah, he was injected. Okay, you're putting a shot in your butt. Yeah. What do you think it is?
I didn't think it was steroids. An energy boost? Really? Yes. Party juice. Come on, bro. Red Bull. Yeah. Did you really think it was Red Bull? Is that what you thought they were shooting you with? Did you say party boy juice? I did. No. I did. Thank you. Thank you for catching that. It was over the counter. It was pretty basic. So it was as the crow flies is what I was trying to say. Just say that, Alex. I heard that. Just say it. You know, it was really amateur hour. I mean, it was two guys. We couldn't go outside. This whole idea of, you know, let me tell you, this organization we had of me and my cousin was so amateur. Like we could barely, we were fumbling with the needle, you know. It was like those commercials, infomercials of like, you know, do you have trouble cutting salad? And the stuff's falling out of their hands. Yes, that was exactly what it was. Can you not handle the remote if you have a blanket on? Get a snuggie. Get out of here with that. We didn't want to ask anyone. We went outside team doctors, team trainers. It was two guys doing a very amateur and immature thing. So the truth is, here's what the truth would look like. I'm guessing this is what the truth would look like. Which, by the way, would be, we wouldn't even be talking about it. If the truth is, yeah, you know what? I thought this was going to help and I knew it was wrong. Shouldn't have been doing it.
In hindsight, man, am I glad. Am I sorry that we did it because, boy, this is blown up into something. And it was just shouldn't have been doing it. And he could even say, you know, this is kind of the culture we were in at that time. Yeah. You know, I was in the clubhouse with Rafael Palmeiro and Jose Canseco and a lot of guys that, you know, have admitted to doing the same thing, too. And, you know, it's just the way it was. What would you say to parents, Alex? You touched on the fact that some people may refer to this as cheating. How do you address parents now who have to talk to their kids about the fact that you profited from this? What a tough way to put it. I mean, it's bad enough just how do you talk to the kids. But then when you say the part about profiting from it, it makes it even worse. Well, I think that thinking is tough. The first thing I say to parents is I'm sorry. And I feel that this happened for much longer. Bigger reason than baseball. I think God's put me now in a position with putting me in a forum where I can... I get nervous when God gets brought into it. ...can be heard, and my voice can be heard. And I hope that kids would not make the same mistake that I made. Yeah, I agree with that. I'll be honest with you. The last 15 months have been very, very tough. I mean, I've been through divorce.
I've been through tabloids. Listen, either by his own doing or not by his own doing, it's been a rough 15 months. There's no denying it. It's been rough. Man, well, maybe if you didn't cheat, you wouldn't have a divorce. Maybe if you weren't cheating, tabloids wouldn't have ripped you one. And why are you dating that guy, Madonna? Why Madonna? You know, what? Like what? He's 50. Playing baseball. And I miss simply being a baseball player. I think there's a tremendous opportunity for me to look in the mirror and be a better teammate to my guys over there. Be a better. They hate you, A-Rod. They hate your guts. Eddie, explain it to me because you're right. They've never really embraced A-Rod. How come? You know, I don't know. You know, some people really don't consider A-Rod like a leader. Some people think that he's just kind of out for himself and out for his stats and isn't really a team guy. And if you're not really a team guy, then the rest of the team is not really for you. But now when he needs them, you know, they're there. They were there in the audience. Player to my fans, a better human being, and start hooking up with Don.
and start making the world a better place. Is that what he calls Madonna? I think that's my opportunity. I screwed up big time. But I think the only thing I ask from this group today and the American people is to judge me from this day forward. That's all I can ask for. But I'm judging you from the past. Me too. What do I do about that? You know who I think seems like a real cool guy is that Johnny Damon on that New York Yankees. He's a good man. He seems like a good guy. He's got an arm like a girl though. Oh, wow. He should take steroids. He should. Right in the arm. Let's see. I could steal home from second on him. Please, please. If he was all the way in the outfield, I could go all the way home from second. Don't you appreciate the home run he did? From second? Yeah, I could. He wouldn't be able to throw me out. I believe that that is untrue. He's a professional. It would roll all the way. He's a professional ballpark. Yeah, but Rob played in Little League.
Ah, I forgot. I don't remember that. I didn't remember. I got wheels. You can do it. Oh, man. Let me start by thanking the Yankees, my teammates, our fans for your support over the last couple weeks. And Madonna. Yes. Madonna. And Madonna. It's the Don. You're sitting here with me today. It means the world to me. I'd like to thank Prince and Ultra Club as well. Human League. A couple weeks have been difficult and emotional. On one hand... I want to make a point. I'm not laughing at this guy's pain. I understand that he's going through pain. I'm not. I want to make a point. I'm laughing at the pain. That's terrible. You're terrible. You're bad. That's not nice. It's extremely tough to admit mistakes. But on the other hand... So I blamed it on my cousin. Yes. Well, here is the deal. My fictitious cousin. It's tougher. It's tougher with A-Rod because he's not making it any easier on himself by not coming clean. And he's got feminine features. Okay. Jeez. The guy is down. Stop kicking him. This is the perfect time to kick him. It feels great to be moving forward. I know that I'm in a position where I have to earn my trust back. And over time, I'm confident that at the end of my career... This is like a big, giant piece of meat on the bone for Red Sox fans. Oh, yeah, baby.
In Boston right now, I can hear that New England drawl of all those fans just lapping this up like a German shepherd out of a toilet bowl. It makes it doubly worse because do you realize how close A-Rod was to being a Red Sox? Very close. I mean, we're talking really close. Within a signature. Yeah, it was like almost a done deal, right? Yeah. Basically once. The fact that this all could have been happening while he was a Red Sox makes it even better for them. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Let's continue. It's almost like. Thank you, Theo. It's almost like you became a Yankee, and that's why all this. If you'd become a Red Sox. It's not my fault. Yeah. If you'd become a Red Sox, you wouldn't have done something like this. We don't want you. Sox make better decisions. That's true. People will see this for what it is. A stupid mistake. And a lesson learned. That's what they call a Yankee mistake there. Buckaroo Banzai. You made a stupid mistake for three years? Yeah. Again and again. Two times a month. Two times a month for three years I made a mistake. That's a lot of mistakes. But I didn't know what it was. Oh, okay. That's the thing. I didn't have a clue what it was. Really? Uh-uh.
We didn't know. Some guy comes at me with a needle, cousin or not. I'm going to ask him. No, no, no, no. What are you doing? It was my cousin. Yeah, I know. I have cousins. I'm not letting them poke me with no needles. And that's what I'm saying. I have to make the point of saying this was my cousin. Poor guy with a lot of baseball to play. All right. Thank you, Alex. Alex, tell me about what you thought you were taking. I didn't think there were steroids. I mean, that's, again, part of being young and stupid. It was over the counter. Over the counter, was it? Well, I think it was over the counter in the Dominican Republic. No, I swear, I'm not joking. It was over the counter on these market streets in Thailand. He's like, no, no, no, my buddy's kitchen has a counter. And he handed it over the counter, so I figured to leave that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's legal, right? It's 7-Eleven in the Dominican. They don't have Slurpee machines. They had steroid machines.
Yeah, you pull down the lever and a needle comes down. It was pretty basic. And, you know, it was really amateur hour. I mean, it was two guys. We couldn't go outside. We couldn't ask anyone. We didn't want to ask anyone. Did I play this clip this break or last break? I think last break. We went outside team doctors, team trainers. It was two guys doing a very amateur and immature thing. And we probably didn't even take it right. Hey, dude. This isn't practical jokes you were playing. Yeah, you're not starting a band. Yeah. I mean, it's very immature. You're not jamming in the garage. Oh, my God. Not even sure we were doing it right. Yeah. What? You know. Yeah, for three years, we weren't sure if we were doing it right. We were like, is this going on my nose? Man, did it work. Granted, I hit 56 home runs. Oh. Wow. Oh, that doesn't sound good. There it is. What ifs, Aaron?
Let's see. I got some cool audio for you. When we come back, I'm going to play Paris Hilton freestyle rapping with Snoop. I'm going to leave. I know. You're going to live. And why don't we do P1 trivia? You want to do a little P1 trivia? We'll do it next. You don't even know what Snoop it is. The Mikey Show is on. It's about to get it. Yes, it's all those things. What we're talking about right now is, well, I told you, Paris Hilton was, she was rapping. I'm going to check you guys out later. This is hard-hitting news, Eddie. You better stay for this. I don't want to hear this. All right, well, I got to go. What if you guys like it? Yeah, you guys will feel dumb when you see this on CNN later. Well, what if it turns out you like the way she raps? Time for me to be hitting the old dusted trail. You know what I really want to do? This is so dumb. I want to cruise travel. I'm chilling and with my homeboy Snoop Gizzle. Somebody get the chloroform, right? Oh, my God. That was the worst thing I've ever heard. It was? Yeah. I did not like it. My ears want to vomit. And what's the voice? I want to have a root canal than listen to that again. Seriously. Yeah. I think Eddie just said he wanted to listen to it again. Yeah. No, he didn't. I think I just heard him say it. This is sexy. Enjoy. This is sexy. This is sexy. This is sexy. This is sexy.
There it is. That is the worst. I thought you guys might enjoy that. What if we did some of this? Come on now. Let's do it. Let's do it. Feeling trivia is fun. The idea is that you call us and you're trying to win a trip into the studio. And what we do is on Fridays, we let you come in here, we give you a backstage pass, and we get catered breakfast brought in. It's great. It's fantastic. So if you would like to play, call us right now, 570-1053. And P1 Art, are you on the line? P1 Art. Hi, Art. How are you? Doing well. How are you? Good. How old are you? 29. How long have you been listening? About three years. Three years. Yeah, dude. That's very good. Wow. It's going to be a good competition.
Your competition is, we usually try to get a guy and a girl. We got P1 PillPaste on the line. Hello. Funny. Wow, PillPaste. Wow. That's even funnier. PillPaste. Took the words out of my mouth. PillPaste. PillPaste, how old are you? I am 34. All right. And how long have you been listening? A little over a year. There you go. Good girl. All right. What we do is we have battle and you guys try to get to five points, okay? So you get to pick one, two, and three-point questions. Could be as easy as two questions and you're done. It's up to you. And we will start with P1 Pill Paste. Pill Paste, what would you like? A one, two, or three-pointer? I'm going to do a two. You got it. Let's see. We play a clip of Ashley's mom on the air where she is yelling out the name. of a university. What university is she yelling out? The university? Yeah. UCLA. That is correct. Love it. There it is. That is correct. My grandparents went there. There you go. Love your mom, Ashley. Thank you. SDSU. That's right. Yeah. I'm an alum. She has a brother who went to Harvard. Yeah, dude. Get out of here. And Ashley almost graduated.
That's right. What's up? Nothing. Okay. It's almost identical profile. Both of my parents went to USC. There you go. USC, UCLA, Harvard, and SDSU dropout. And then me. And then me. We're all different. Hey, listen. Ashley was on the dean's list. Yeah, dude. Yeah. It was Dean Cain. That's the prestigious list. That's right. P1 Art. I'm going to match it with a two. You got it. Oh, a little match off. Your two-point question is. What is the name of Ashley's new feature on MikeyShow.com? Art is thinking and asking. He's trying to think of what edition this is. Yes. Yeah. Because she does it by editions. Is there a timer? The Ashley After Show? That is correct. That is correct. Was he logging on? That is amazing. Not at all. Yes, please. Come on, Art. Leave Art alone. All right. All right, Art. I'm going to give that to you even though you went on to MikeyShow.com to get the answer. I'm still going to give it to you. You don't know. Because that was some pretty fast typing. You don't know. I mean, I got to give him credit for that. Yeah, what do you got? Roadrunner? That's good. That's what I got. Real fast. P1 pill paste. You can end it with a three-pointer or you can take the easy road. Easy. I'm going to do a two-pointer. You're a smart lady. All right. No way.
What fast food restaurant did Eddie write a letter to complaining about their cheese prices? Burger King. That is correct. Yes, please. You understand that they. Stop it. I did. I did. I was very upset. See, you're with me, right? I understand. It's ridiculous. Pill paste. You have four points. Art, you have two. Art, you can either try to tie the game or you can go for the win. Carpe diem, Art. Yeah, carpe diem. Carpe diem. Not too important. I got to go for two. All right. Let's do two. And you can tie the game. Who has been our phone screener lately? Quimby. P1 Quimby. That is correct. Nice. Cindy. Beauty. That's right. Cindy. I called her Cindy today for absolutely no reason. I did? That's awesome. I have no clue why. I was like, hey, Cindy. All right. We have a tied game. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Pillpaste, if you can get this one-point question. Oh, yeah, dude. See what happens. You should have went with the three. That's right. I'm down. Here's your one-point question. Leave him alone. Your one point question is, pill paste, what animal is Eddie deathly afraid of? Eddie? Yes. What animal is Eddie deathly afraid of? I don't know. Wait. Raccoon? Yes. That is correct. And we get a winner. That is... You're so scary with those eyes at night. Stripes? That is incorrect. They look like little burglars. That is incorrect.
No. It's frightening. Who's breaking in? Oh, it's a raccoon. No, Eddie's afraid of killer whales. Killer whales? That's right. The black and white. It's in the name. It's in the name. They kill. He's very afraid of them. She's laughing at you. It's not funny. It is. It's really not funny. I think you have more interactions with raccoons. Yeah, it's true. You would think. That's true. Yeah, Eddie. What does that have to do with anything? Everything. Okay, Art? Yeah. Yep. You ready to try to take this sucker home? Yeah, let's do it. Your one-point question is, who won the Eddie B. Robb Guitar Hero Challenge? That would be Eddie. That would be wrong. All right, let me tell you something. You are a good cheater and a good winner. He was young and immature. He didn't know he was doing it. That's true. He and his cousin were just sitting there Googling. Cousin. Over the counter. That's right. Listen, Art, you won. All right. You won. And so you get to come into the studio and pill paste you do too. Yes. Oh, wow. Yeah. Both of you guys can come in. Don't bring any raccoons. Eddie's deathly afraid. That's right. That's right. Hand the line, you two rascals. Black and white too. That's right. That's right. So take a listen to this. Tonya Harding was being interviewed on Real Sports. And they were talking about how Obama brought her up.
He did. And after 15 years, for good or bad, she's even part of our vocabulary. And when we were down 20 points in the summer, all the pundits and all the smart folks, they were saying, okay, his only chance now, he's got to kneecap her. He's got to do a Tonya Harding on the front running. He said, I'm not going to pull a Tonya Harding. Right. You know what that means. Yes, absolutely. Because obviously he didn't have enough people looking at him. He has this country to think about. He has the candidacy to think about, the war to think about, and he has to bring me up? I have very strong opinions about this. I'm going to play the rest of the clip. I have very, very strong opinions about this. What the hell is important in this world today? Oh, that's right, Tonya Harding. But guess what? I get jobs because he used my name on national television because people forget.
Who Tonya Harding is. All publicity is good publicity. You're a piece of work. Do you think I care what other people think? Wow. Who is that guy? I can't remember his name. It's Dick something. Oh, Mike. No, you guys, it's his actual name. His name's Richard. But that's great. You're a piece of work. Apparently not. No, I don't. I'm sorry. It sounds really harsh. It sounds like I'm just, you know. Well, I don't get it, Tanya. On one hand, you're angry. And on the other hand, oh, yeah. Well, guess what? I'm getting jobs. Yeah. I believe that is Bernard Goldberg. Really? Bernard. I knew it. Being a Backwood Hicks girl. But you know what? That is who I am. If you like me, great. If you don't like me, that's okay. That's your opinion. But I bet you, you'll still pay money to come see me. I wouldn't. Doing what? Yeah. bashing people's legs in? Actually, I'd pay to see that. You would? Here's the deal. Tonya Harding has fallen on very hard times. She is not doing well. Well, dude, she's on that show World Stupidest Criminals. She does commentary on it. Really? And it is bad. I bet. What network is that on? I don't know. I think that part of the reason that she's doing bad is because it is all... Listen. Pointing the finger.
at everybody but yourself always leads to bad. Yeah. You point one at someone else, you're pointing three back at yourself, Mike. Three? That's exactly right. Yeah, that works. Like, you're pointing one at, see, Scott, you're pointing one at someone else. But not the gun. So then you got three pointing back at yourself. And when you give a thumbs up, all your other fingers are pointing at the guy next to you. No. Listen to Ashley. What's she saying? I'm adding to it. Why don't you listen? You're pointing one at yourself. And then you got three-pointed back at yourself. No. If you're pointing one, you're getting one. You want to point something at that person? You got to point it right back at yourself. You point one at someone else. Guess what? You're pointing three back at yourself, buddy. Very profound. You got to think about that one. Let it marinate. So keep pointing. Remember, you got... Three points. I will remember that. She is a genius. That's awesome. I remember that. That's completely true. Yes. Thank you. I agree with it. A hundred and fifty percent. Thank you. That's good stuff right there. Keep it putting. Wait till I tell you who's facing bankruptcy. You're going to flip out when I tell you who's facing bankruptcy. It's next. You guys are awesome.

You turkey. You turkey. We announced earlier that my wife is pregnant with twins. Wow. Twinsies. Rob, you should sing them your Double the Pleasure song. Double the pleasure, double the diapers, you're gonna have fun with a bunch of kids. There it is. So good, right? I liked it. I liked the way it rolled out. That was awesome. That was the most creative thing I've ever heard. Really good. That was so good. Facebook is back in the news.
Yep, face your space. Is it my pictures from Star 100.7? Yes, all the pictures of Eddie and Star have now surfaced. And so you can see them. I can't believe that. That's right. And Facebook has issued a statement about those pictures. What have they said? They said, listen, they own those pictures, Eddie. They belong. No, I'm the one that I'm in. They belong to Facebook. You are their property. Let me tell you. What? Let me tell you something. This Facebook story is on their website. You sign on to your homepage on Facebook, you can see their statement about it. They have a statement about it. What are they stating? They say, well, they're very vague. Sky will tell you what the actual deal is, but Facebook is vague. They say, over the past few days, we've received a lot of feedback about the new terms of service that we've posted. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous terms of use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the Facebook blog. Here's a link. If you want to share your thoughts on what we should do in the new terms, check out our group, Facebook Bill of Rights and Responsibilities. So, Skye, what are they talking about? Taking themselves way too serious.
Basically, when you sign up to be a part of anything, there's terms saying, okay, you're giving us the right to blah, blah, blah. Well, Facebook went in and changed their term of rights to basically state that if you ever close your Facebook account, Facebook will still have the right to use your photos, your comments, any way they see fit. No way. That stuff would... That's right, Randy. That's awful. That stuff would still be property of Facebook. That doesn't seem fair. It's not theirs to begin with. Yeah. So say you close your account and you turn out to be the next Brad Pitt and then they can make commercials with the pictures saying Brad Pitt used to be a Facebook user or something like that. So when that happens. So when that happened, people were mad. You know, the people who noticed that they went in there and changed the terms were mad. And they started this petition. And like over 60,000 people were threatened into, you know, whatever. And so then Facebook felt the pressure and went back and changed it back to the old way. I wish you would feel the pressure about Facebook. I will not. I will not. I will not. Don't crumble. Rob, we're strong. Rob, you said that your brother was going to help you. I become Brad Pitt. I don't want them making commercials saying.
You'll never have to worry about that. Rob used to be Rob, but now he's very pit. That's a weird commercial. Oh, man. Rob and I are individuals. Get on there. Get on there. Oh, you're missing out. Yeah, I got something to say on your wall. I want to write on your wall, lady. I want to tag you in a photo. That's right. Come on, Skye. I want to list your relationship. I want to know 25 things about you. That's right. Get on there already. I will not, sir. Let's just make her a page. I like that idea. I'll draw the picture of her. Thank you. I'll take care of it. Rob, what happened? You said your brother and you were going to make one this weekend. Yeah, I just don't really care. Yeah, Rob. I'm so passive. I'm above you. Thank you. I really am. Unreal. Facebook is going to burn out just like MySpace did. Oh, please. Why not write it while it is hot? No, it's great. But I mean, listen, Facebook has actual application to it where you get to check out pictures of your friends. It's really great. So did MySpace. So did MySpace, bro. Okay, the difference, though, is that MySpace is the new boutique home. Oh, it's Eddie's new phrase.
It works. So there it is. Okay, before we went to break, I told you that I was going to tell you who is facing bankruptcy. Skye, who is it? Well, it's a company. Owned by Donald Trump. It is called the Trump Entertainment Group, and basically that's three Atlantic City casinos that Trump owns. They've already gone into bankruptcy twice already. You're fired. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the company, the Trump Entertainment Group, claims $50 million in assets but has $500 million in debt. Oh. So that's a discrepancy of $450 million for all you playing at home. I think they need to redo all, you know, the Trump brand is very, it's got a lot of gold and it's very 80s. It's very gaudy. It's very gaudy and 80s. I agree, Mike. It's time for a new apprentice, huh? That's right. That's right, Eddie. Time for a new one. Hey, you guys will enjoy this. Sometimes when people are speaking, they misspeak.
Come on, Mike. And, you know, this lady on CNN was having a tough time with this story. Now, let's check in with Zane Verge. She's monitoring some other important stories incoming to the Situation Room right now. Zane, what do you have? Well, Peanuts are now on Northwest Airlines' snack menu, and travelers with allergies are flooding the carrier with complaints about the change. Northwest began serving Peanuts this month, as its merger partner, Atlanta-based Delta Airlines, has done for years. Georgia is the top peanut-producing state in the country. Yes, it is. Uh-huh, uh-huh. What is on your mind? No, it's Carion, but thanks for asking. Anybody. Mike. I can't. Can you, like, put a quota on her or something? Only so many records? There's got to be a cat. How about two? Let's do two, okay? No, none. Yeah, that's a better idea. She was better than the 70 we had today. That's true. What? It's a start. Watch another movie. What? That was from Ace Ventura, so why don't you figure it out? Those are the two. Okay. Not dumb and dumb. I'm sorry. I should have known. Yeah, we apologize. She really likes those Jim Carrey movies, man. Well, they're brilliant, Mike. Brilliant is a stretch. That's a strong word. P1T Fox. Yeah, hey, I have a question for Eddie. All right.
Hey, Eddie, with Mardi Gras coming up, why haven't you called Ashley Fat Tuesday yet? I never called her Fat Tuesday. That was Rob. That was Seth. It was Rob. Oh, man. No, it was you, Rob. He is out of control. It was Rob that called her Fat Tuesday. He takes it back. Fair question, Rob. Why have you knocked that? I take it back. And when is Mardi Gras anyways? Is that this week? Yeah, when is it? Next Tuesday. Next Tuesday. We'll save it for then. Thank you. P1 Sam. Yes? What's up? Hi. I just wanted to say, like, for you having twins, I'm so envious of you. Oh. I am a twin, and I just had my son, and I regret that he wasn't a twin. You shouldn't. Just cut him in half. Yeah. No, Eddie, it doesn't work that way. Just clone him. Is your twin a brother or a sister? I'm a twin girl, and, you know. Identical? Yeah. Yes, identical? Yeah, we are identical. You guys are real close?
Oh, yes, very close. She's my best friend, and we're actually from Madison, Wisconsin. That's sweet. That's sweet. People from Madison are very sweet people, really, from that part of the country. It's a true statement. People from that part of the country are very, how do they call them, salt of the earth, you know what I mean? As a crow flies. As a crow flies. How old are you? I'm 21. That's so sweet. Hey, did you ever pull any tricks of being identical? Eddie, that's illegal. Like what? Like what did you do? What? Actually, when we went into high school to different classes and protected me different people. You did? Yep, and we actually played a good prank on our boyfriend. Oh, man. I don't want to hear that one. That one is dirty. What did you do? What did you do? Well, I don't know if I should say it on the air. Can you say it on the air? Maybe not. Okay. Oh, wow. That's you.
You guys are a bunch of dirty girls. Naughty. Naughty naughties. Those girls from Madison. That's right. Salt of the earth and all that. All right, Sam. Appreciate it. Good luck to you. Good luck to you. I appreciate that. Thank you very much. Well, she wants to have a kid to be a twin. She has one and she regrets it's not a twin. That's why I said good luck. Maybe the next one will be a twin. One can hope. Thank you, Sam. That was Sam. P1 Peaches is on the line. Oh, Peaches. Hi, Peaches. Hello, guys. How are you? Good. Well, Mikey, first of all, I want to extend a big congrats on the twins. That's just totally awesome. Thank you. So excited for you guys. And actually, on that note, I have a question for Miss Skye. Yeah. So, Sky, you know, Eddie, you know, they're having a baby. Mikey's got Jake and the twins. So you and the bunny boo going to get down a little something-something anytime soon? Wow, that is not a personal question. That is not personal at all. That's interesting. I'm just waiting for Mikey and Eddie to jump off a bridge so I can go ahead. Oh, there you go. That's how I, you know, that's really how I plan my life. She does everything we do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yes.
So I did not mention to you that Metallica is releasing their entire catalog in a digital box set. You guys getting that? I will not be getting that. But it's 163 songs. Hard rocking goodness. Yeah, most people already have their stuff, you know. That's the point. Well, it's going to be called The Complete Metallica and it will be available on iTunes March 31st. The Robert Trujillo Experience. It's only Robert DeGio songs. He's the big draw. That's right. Clearly. Yes. And it's going to be how much? Well, it doesn't say how much it's going to cost, but it's 163 songs. Oh. Yeah. $4,000. That's a little expensive. If you download it illegally, then you could get executed. Oh, no. I don't think that's what it is. We're trying to push that through Congress. Take it easy. Oh, my gosh. Piracy is stealing. Julia Roberts is talking about her dream celebrity dinner. What is that?
We approved this story? I did. I do not remember approving this story. Rob wanted to hear this? Every day before the show, we go over all the news and we say, well, what do we want to talk about? And I don't remember us saying yes to this story, but apparently Rob really liked it. I want to hear this. Yeah, well, I think all of us kind of went, eh. And Rob was like, yeah. I need to talk about it. I need it. Is Sam Shepard on the list? I picture him there. In Glenn Ford. Yes. She did an interview with Allure magazine where she was asked who she'd invite to her dream celebrity dinner. Dale Jarrett. Dale Jarrett's on there. I'm going to laugh. You have not named any of them yet. Oh. Who else? Tandy Lowenbrough. Too soon. Too soon. Rob, yeah, what are your thoughts, Rob? This is your story. I wanted to hear who her celebrity dinner was. That's interesting to me. All right, tell me. Because I figured she was so infatuated with herself it would just be her alone. Soleil Moon Fry. Well, of course, we'd have to start with the Obama family. Are you the way that you are? Also on the guest list would be Diane Sawyer.
Oh, please. I don't believe you. Continue. You could actually do that, Julia. Like, call her. She'll have dinner with you. I thought it was going to be, like, people that had passed. Like, maybe King Charlemagne. Is that a king? Something like that. Whoa. What just happened? King Charlemagne. I didn't think it was going to be, like... Isn't that that super absorbent towel? Yes. Yes. Oh, this is wonderful. Is this King Charlemagne? Don't squeeze the Charlemagne. Wow. Well, Rob, I hope that was everything that was cracked up to be. Well, who else is on it? Mike Nichols, who... Who is that? A director. Charlie Wilson's war. I don't know. Is he still alive? Yes. She's an idiot. He's been in his movies. She is... Like, she's stupid. Like, she can have this dinner. Yeah. Like, when we hear that, we're like, oh, you know, like, we'd want people we'd never be able to meet. She's, like, these are her friends. Oprah Winfrey. Oh, how did I know she was? And, of course, you have to invite Stedman. Oh, man, this is painful. And then her final pick for her dream celebrity dinner. Thanks a lot, Rob. Yes, Rob. Here comes the last one. Tina Fey. Oh.
Now, this she can just put together. I thought it was going to be something. Just send out an Evite. You can get all of them. Seriously. They're very uninteresting, too. Like, oh, come on with Mike Nichols. Please. What is King Charlemagne? Why would she invite him? It's so weird. Famous historical people. You guys don't read history? Never. I've never heard of that. What's up, bro? What's the matter with you? Never heard of it. I'm going to figure this out because I know that from somewhere. You look into it and get back to us. I will. We'll be waiting for King Charlemagne. Oh, my gosh. I really want to know who this is. The person that they're talking about on The Tonight Show with Jennifer Love Hewitt. I want to know who they're talking about. Do you ever go out with actors when you're singing? What are they like? I have gone out with actors, yeah. Really? Now, is that like... Because I had a beautiful actress like yourself. She told me a story about an actor. And they went out on a date. And he picked her up at her house. And he knocked on the door. And he said to her when she opened the door, listen, I've got to get up early. Why don't we just have sex now? Who is it? He whispers it to her. Did he do that to you? Did he say that to you? Something similar. No, what did he say? What did he say? No, we were...
restaurant and in the middle of like the appetizer he literally looks at me and he goes hey i just want you to know i've been uh i've been saving this up for you really any points 18 minutes to decide what this was i was like what your napkin your appetizer this this he did this wow i saved this up for you And now I know he does that with everybody. Well, see, okay. Isn't it nice to know you're not special? And then he bought me an egg and I said, Rose. How about that? Who are they talking about? No secrets. Yeah. You can't just say that and not tell. Show one, show all. Yeah. What actor would have the rocks to say that? And the creepiness to say that? So now everybody wants to know. The Octomom. Their PR firm that she had, they dropped her. Wow, that quick, huh? Yeah.
Well, I guess the Octomom doesn't have, like, email or anything. Are you kidding? Yeah. What is the matter with that? Are you kidding? She doesn't have... She's got 14 kids, but no email. Yeah, she doesn't have a computer. Have you seen anything over the weekend with her? Yeah. Like, they kept showing, like, before and after pictures. I guess she's had a lot of work done on, like, her lips and stuff to look like Angelina Jolie, like you said. Weird, weird, weird. There is... My wife said, do you think that there's an Angelina Jolie fascination? I said, that's kind of interesting because... She, you know, with the Angelina, with all the kids. Yeah. And now her. And by the way, she was, you know, an unwed mom. Still is an unwed mom. And. She does her face looks like Angelina. Yeah, like she had pictures before and she didn't have those big old lips that she's got now and she looks real different. Yeah, and they were also showing pictures because basically the paparazzi is following her like nonstop and there's pictures of her driving, talking on her cell phone, illegal. They took pictures like inside her minivan when it was parked. It is like filthy. Like it is like disgusting.
So why is the PR firm out? The PR firm, because she doesn't have a computer and she doesn't have email. So people who are upset with her have no way to reach out to her. So they're reaching out to the PR firm and they have gotten many death threats by email and by the phone. Yeah. And so. They contacted the police to investigate, and the police said, you know, I wouldn't laugh this off. I would take this very serious. These people are really, really upset. So the owner of the PR firm said that, you know, she had to do what was best for her own safety and for the safety of the employees at her firm. And they dropped her. And so they've dropped her. Well... Yeah, and did you see the picture? You know what else might play into that is... She probably didn't have any money to pay him. That's a good point. Yeah, and there's a picture in People Magazine and this People Magazine of the Octomom and her six kids, her six current kids. And she's like, it's like an all-white room with like nothing in it except for like two toys. So it's obviously like staged in my opinion. And then there's a couch and she has like the kids and there's one kid standing on each arm of the couch. Weird. Like standing on the arms of the couch. Yeah, it's like towards the back.
of that magazine of the new people. But, yeah, I'm like, oh. That's a story that just couldn't get weirder, man. With the plastic surgery, the eight octo kids, it just gets weirder. Like, look at the kids. They're standing on the arms of the couch. It's a picture that doesn't look safe. It's the kids. It doesn't look safe at all. Yeah, because the one kid looks like he's almost balancing to stay there. If he falls, he'll learn. He'll learn. That's all they got to do. Okay. Mike, by the way, King Charlemagne considered the founding fathers of the French and German monarchies. Is that right? Yeah, he was a crusader. I don't know what that sentence meant. That's what he's considered. Well, it wasn't very clear. Do you know what it meant? I don't get it. He was a crusader for the Catholic Church. I knew I knew about it. I just didn't understand what I knew. Yeah, that's exciting. Listen, I'll say this as honestly as I possibly can. I don't know how to deal with the chimpanzee story because on one hand, it's funny that it's a chimpanzee in the news. That's crazy. But then the chimpanzee tore somebody's face off, which is sad. It's so multi-layered, this chimpanzee story. I read the text of the 911 call, and the owner seems really off her rocker. Yeah.
She's telling the cops to come and shoot the animal. Yeah. Like, bring your gun. Shoot it. Shoot it. Well, it's tearing her friend's face off, so she's terrified. Totally understandable. But, like... It still seems weird to be like telling the cops to bring their guns and to shoot it. You know what I thought was weird is that she's not answering questions. They're asking her direct questions, and she won't answer. It took them two minutes to get out of her that it's a chimp she's talking about. Yeah, yeah. This happened in Connecticut. A 70-year-old woman owns this chimpanzee who used to do like TV commercials, did like a TV commercial for Coke, Old Navy, and, you know, keeps this. As her pet, 14 years old, the chimp's name was Travis, and I guess brought the chimp over to her. It's strange that the chimp's name is Travis. Yeah, it's kind of weird. Said that Travis had been acting rambunctious earlier, so she put a Xanax in one of his cups of tea.
Oh, sounds brilliant. Sounds normal. So stupid. And then, you know, Travis weighs about 200 pounds, brought Travis over. Travis saw a friend who Travis, the chimp, knows and has seen before. But I guess the friend had recently got a haircut. So look different. I don't know. And then the chimp went crazy and basically like mauled the woman, causing serious injuries to her face, her neck and her hands. I don't understand. It was unprovoked. When people get... How about a dog or a cat? You know what I mean? Well, I think it would be cool to have a champ. You do? Yeah. You don't think it's a little odd having a chimpanzee? Of course it's odd. But that's what makes it cool. Okay. But, I mean, the... That woman, it's that woman's fault. You give an animal Xanax. Drugs. What do you think is going to happen? Yeah. That's awful. Well, I don't know. I just don't think you should have a 200 pound chimpanzee. Well, that's up for debate. Yeah. I think that is, Eddie. Sky, I think I'm with you on that one. Thank you, Mike. I don't know about having a chimp. You want to have chickens. Yeah, they lay eggs. They're good. Okay. I think it's a little different. Chickens are different. You can have like sword fights and stuff with monkeys. No, no, no. How fun would that be? Yeah, give one a, you know, a.
Ten sword, and you take it for ten sword. Or if you want to make it real interesting, a real sword. Now we're talking. Now you're talking. A bayonet. Throw some X in there. See, that's where you get wrong. You need chimp training. Oh, my bad. Hello. I'm sorry. Let's see. 570-1053 is our number. Give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. You can do whatever you want. You can talk about anything. JetBlue is going to offer refunds to you if you lose your job. Yes. This is pretty cool. Awesome. It's like Hyundai. They give you, you can take the car back. But Rob, you have a job. Yeah, you haven't lost a job. You know how bad the economy is? We don't know where it's going in a year. Two years, three years. Good point. You're right. You're fired. Hello refund. Okay. Well, so basically what JetBlue is doing is, you know, they want people to book their trips early, but they feel people aren't booking trips because they're scared because the economy, they don't know how long they're going to have jobs. So they say if you book a flight between February 1st and June 1st and then lose your job, you'll be eligible for a full refund under their new JetBlue Promise program. Now you have to request your refund two full weeks before your flight date.
And they'll give you a full refund. So they're hoping it'll get people to book trips in advance. That is awesome. That is, like, more places should do that. Sarah Palin's daughter is Bristol Palin? Yes. She had a kid. Yeah. And she was talking about contraception and abstinence. Contraception is an issue here. Is that something that you were just lazy about or not interested in, or do you have a philosophical... Lazy about or not interested. Interesting way to answer this. In other words, she's saying, you know, abstinence is not having sex. So when you had intercourse, were you, you know, before marriage and as an underage person, were you doing it out of laziness? Were you being lazy? It was no too tough to say. Yeah. Why not just ask the question like you intended, which is, you know, so what's up? Why didn't you use a condom? Why didn't you use a condom? You know, what is up with it? Why did you have sex? Or religious opposition to it? No. I don't want to get into detail about that, but I think abstinence is like the, I don't know how to put it, like the main. Everyone should be abstinent or whatever, but it's not realistic at all. Why? Because I don't want to get into detail about it. Well, without you being personal, just big picture, not necessarily about you. Because it's more and more accepted now. Among your classmates and kids your age? Yeah. What is more accepted? Having sex. Having sex. Kids my age.
How do you change that? To see stories like this and to see other stories of teen moms. It's something that's, I don't know, you should just wait 10 years. It'd just be so much easier. Interesting. Such a smart young lady. Well said. Really well said. Well, I mean, I think what she's, if I understand correctly, she's trying to say, well, I'm now the poster child for abstinence. This is what happens. You get pregnant when you're a teenager. Okay. We knew that, though. Yeah. We already knew that. So when you have sex, it's possible you could have a baby? Yeah. I've heard that. Is that what you're saying there? It's not proven, but I've heard it. Oh, man. Yeah. That's a myth. Teen pregnancy, what's your thought on that? I think... You go. That's a good interview. I mean, good question. That's good. Teen pregnancy, what do you think of that? That's crazy, huh? Hey, you had one. What do you read? Everyone should just wait 10 years. That's just why? Just because it's so much easier if you're married and if you have a house and career. It's just so much easier. That's great advice. Aye, aye, aye.
I didn't know you get all that in 10 years. That's crazy, too. 10 years from however old you are. Okay, so when I'm 28, so three years from now. No, no, no. Just 10 years from now. Yeah. Just in general. I'm confused. That's the rule. So if you're seven years old and you're hearing this right now, 17. Please. Oh, there it is. Okay. To all those newborns, 10 years. Didn't make a lot of sense. Wow. Yeah. I want to remind people Rob is doing his own taxes. I just want to remind people. Nuh-uh. He is. It's taken me a couple of days, but I think I got the hang of it. A lot of numbers. Bad stuff. Put on my spectacles and get my calculator. There you go. Number crunching, Mike. I'm number crunching. Got my tax hat. Got one of those things in his eyes that jewelers use to look at gems. What is that for? I don't know what that's going to do for you. You've got to look at those numbers. Ladies and gentlemen, P1AO is on the line. Before we get into this, can I just ask a quick question? Sure. Man, what's going on with that? Is that line two where I can't hear the show? I don't know. On line two, you don't hear on hold?
I don't know. Whatever line you guys had me on hold, I couldn't hear the show, and I'm a little depressed because I was on the radio on. I didn't know that. Yeah, we're getting, Cindy is giving me the thumbs up over there. Yeah, yeah. Her name is Quimby. Quimby, Cindy. Close enough. Yes, line two for whatever reason, you might want to call a Ron Foo, but when you put people on hold, they can't hear nothing on that line. We'll tell them. That's weird. It's weird. Sorry. I hate it. You dig. Yeah, that's a sad you dig. No, I'm really not digging it right now. It's okay. Okay, you ready? Start over. Hey, ladies and gentlemen, it's P1AO on the line. Hey, what's that in it? Oh, there he is. What's up, Pail? You know, I'm over here cooling out like a ceiling fan. Yeah, dig. Yeah, dig. I'm just chilling like an ice cube. Wait, that's not good. That's not good. Not good at all. What's up? Kicking it like a soccer ball. What up? Wow. Write that one down. Write it down, man. Write that one down, buddy. Save my first rodeo. Uh-huh. Yeah, dig. Really? What's up? Did I go too far? Oh, no. Hey, I'm out. I gotta go. That's it. Wow. Tight.
He just wanted to call and say line two. Wasn't working on hold? I'm just hanging out like a boogie. All right. You're the worst. You're the worst. You don't know what a boogie is? P1 Philly's finest is on the line. P-A died to the L-O-Y in the hizzy. What's up? So, yeah, listening to Bristol Palin talk about abstinence makes as much sense as Sky giving tips about how to read the news. That is not as eloquent as I thought it was going to be. A little harsh. True, but I mean. Eddie, Eddie, you can just go ahead and put that on the board. All right, I'll mark that one up there. Mikey, congrats on the twins, man. Thank you. Thank you, man. I appreciate it. Regular old baby factory going on over there. This is in the water. That's right.
Remind me not to drink anything when I come over to your house because I don't want to be like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Twins. You got it. Wait a second. I will remind you that the next time you're over. Yes. All right. You guys hang on a lot? Yes, we do. Yeah. Philly, are we still on for 2 o'clock? Scrabble. I got to check the schedule, but I'm sure I can slip you in. All right, brother. Thanks. All right. There he is. P1 Shoe God 24. Hey, Mikey. What's going on? What's up, dude? Not much. I want to say congratulations on the twins. Thank you, bro. For sure. You were telling a crazy story about how they told you you had twins. I got a crazier one how they told me I was having twins. How did they do it? We were in the doctor's office, and the pictures were up, and they were showing us the baby. And running around, the doctor was like, well, you know, you must be a track star or something. I can't keep up with this baby. And we were watching him and watching him. Finally, he stepped back, turned off the TV, wrote down some stuff, looked at us for like two minutes, nothing, nothing at all. Went back, put the thing back on the tummy, looking around, sat back, wrote another thing down. Meanwhile, we're going crazy. We don't know what he's thinking. Oh, man. Finally looks at us and goes, okay, well, I don't want to freak you guys out or anything. And then nothing. Back to his nose. We're thinking the worst possible thing. Yeah, sure. Of course. One more time, sticks it on the belly, looks around. He goes, okay, grabs me. He says, you want my hand? Grab her hand a little bit tighter.
This is a strange doctor. Tell me already. Absolutely killing us. He goes, okay, I don't want to freak you guys out. You guys are having twins. That's when I would be so wound up. Punched him in the face. I would have vomited on him. Yeah. So we completely freaked out. I'm like, okay, wait, are you sure? Because I have my cell phone on. I didn't turn off like I'm supposed to. I don't think that would have anything to do with it. Oh, with the medical equipment? Good question. He thought that maybe his cell phone was interfering with the ultrasound? Yeah. Turns out that is what happened. He just had one kid. Thanks for the call, dude. P1 Danny, you're our last call. Bring us home. What's up, Mikey? It's P1 Hall of Famer, Danny. Oh, look at that. What's up? Hey there. I was actually calling to officially invite all of you and all of the P1s to our P1 site party next month. Right on. Do you have the info up at P1Site.com? Yeah, if you go to P1Site, it's the first thing that pops up. It's in honor of Quimby's birthday and Colorado Eddie coming into town. Very nice. Who's Colorado Eddie? Eddie from Colorado. Eddie from Colorado? We're originally from Denver. Very nice. Awesome. It's P1Site.com. P1Site.com. Awesome, Danny. Thank you, bro. Thanks, guys. Appreciate it, dude.
