Mikey, Eddie, Sky, Boston Rob and Ashley spent much of the show dissecting the Oscars, especially Mickey Rourke's loss, Sean Penn's gay-marriage argument and the night's best comedy films. They also covered the disputed Octodad claim, Conan O'Brien's emotional Late Night farewell and Nancy O'Dell's red-carpet encounters before her planned Dancing with the Stars appearance. The most personal bits involved Eddie feeling his baby kick, his cousin Jay being burned by a fire pit, and Sky's painfully awkward attempt to introduce herself to someone new. The crew also debated whether Harvey Levin was distancing TMZ from an alleged LAPD leak of Rihanna's injury photo and mixed harder news with jokes about a bullet-stopping hair weave and Kim Jong-il's mythical golf score.
What happened, in order
Rourke's Oscar heartbreak
The hosts recapped the Academy Awards, celebrated Heath Ledger and Slumdog Millionaire, and argued that Mickey Rourke deserved Best Actor over Sean Penn.
Penn takes on Proposition 8
Sean Penn used his Milk acceptance speech to condemn opponents of gay marriage, prompting the hosts to debate his politics while relentlessly mocking his solemn delivery.
The Oscars get funny
The crew praised the Pineapple Express Oscar film with Seth Rogen and James Franco and Ben Stiller's deadpan Joaquin Phoenix impersonation alongside Natalie Portman.
The would-be Octodad
A former boyfriend claimed he might have fathered all of Octomom's children and demanded a paternity test even as her publicist insisted he was not the donor.
Bulletproof hair weave
A Kansas City woman survived her ex-boyfriend's gunfire after a bullet lodged in the dense weft of her hair weave, inspiring jokes about issuing weaves to SWAT teams.
Weekend elopement fallout
Nineteen-year-old Chloe said her parents surprisingly accepted her secret marriage to Derek, while Jenna described unsuccessfully warning a recently divorced friend against another rushed Vegas wedding.
Conan says goodbye
Conan O'Brien grew emotional ending his 16-year Late Night run, promised not to grow up for The Tonight Show, welcomed Andy Richter back, and honored David Letterman's influence.
Nancy O'Dell backstage
Nancy O'Dell described the Slumdog Millionaire children as the night's sweetest stars, explained why Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie skipped much of the press line, and admitted she was terrified about joining Dancing with
A kick and a fireball
Eddie felt his unborn baby kick for the first time, then told how his cousin Jay suffered first-degree burns when a gas fire pit engulfed him in flames before a birthday party.
Sky's stranger nightmare
The crew sent an anxious Sky upstairs to introduce herself to a stranger, only for her to approach an intern and then a saleswoman she had already met.
Who leaked Rihanna's photo?
The hosts parsed Harvey Levin's claim that TMZ obtained Rihanna's battered-face photo legally and argued that his doubts about its LAPD origin sounded like protection against a leak investigation.
Dictator golf and fight talk
The crew mocked Kim Jong-il's supposed claim of 18 holes-in-one before reviewing Diego Sanchez's gaunt appearance and decision victory over Joe Stevenson.

Every morning. Glad that's the first time in 20 years I've said that as the first thing. You're not going to do it again, are you? Nuh-uh. I didn't mean to do it this time, and then I did it. I was like, oh, that wasn't cool. It is 6.05, and our phone lines are open for you at 570-1053, so you can call us up and get your calls in here. And don't forget, text Mikey at gmail.com. Put that in your cell phone and smoke it. You know what I mean? You can put it in your cell phone and you can text message us with textmikey at gmail.com, which is really cool. The text messages are back. And it was Danny's idea, man. P1 Danny. He's good, right? Yeah. So the big deal is the Oscars. That's what we're going to be talking about this morning. Five people on the mic show, me, Eddie Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. And I saw a little bit of them. Got to bed early.
But saw a little bit of them and thought it was pretty cool. Yeah. Eddie, did you dig it? I love the Oscars. I don't know why. I always look forward to the Oscars. And I thought it was good. It was a good show. You bummed out for Mickey Rourke? Dude. Aww. I was really, really bummed out for Mickey Rourke. Like, he looks so crushed. Yeah. And, you know, I mean, this was Mickey Rourke's shot at getting an Oscar. Like, I don't think he's ever going to get another shot. No. And so. Sean Penn will probably get about five more nominations in his lifetime. I don't know that Mickey Rourke is going to get another one. This is the last opportunity. I'm an old, broken-down piece of meat. Give him the award. I can't believe he didn't win. Sky, you want to run down them and give us who won what? The big ones? Yeah, yeah. Well, Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner overall last night, winning eight of the 11 Academy Awards that they were nominated for. Eight awards last night. Pretty huge. So let's see. The bigger categories, Best Animated Feature went to WALL-E.
Best actress in a supporting role went to Penelope Cruz for Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She's the first Spanish-born actress to win an Oscar. Speechless. Speechless right now. It's the same lady, right? Same thing. I'm pretty sure it's the same lady. It is. No surprise to anyone. Best actor in a supporting role, Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight. Of course. Yeah. Of course. I'm speechless now. Okay. That was kind of crazy, seeing all the celebrities crying in the audience. Yeah, they were upset. Angelina Jolie. I didn't see it. They're all bawling. Really? Yeah. It was pretty nuts. Who gave the award? Well, who accepted it? Yeah, yeah. His family, both, and this was kind of different too, both his mom, dad, and sister all went up and all three of them spoke. Oh, wow. They all had little speeches written and all three of them spoke and accepted it on Heath's behalf. I guess that's pretty cool, right? Yeah. Yeah, I want a little bit more.
Like they read the acceptance speech. So that kind of like took away from the emotion a little bit for me. But it was still cool. Well, and I thought it'd be cool to hear from somebody like Christian Bale or somebody who worked with him on the film. I would have liked to see that too. Here's a clip. First of all, I have to say this is ever so humbling. Just being amongst such wonderful people in such a wonderful industry. Firstly, I'd like to thank the Academy. For recognizing our son's amazing work. Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolan in particular. For allowing Heath the creative license to develop and explore this crazy Joker character. So they're showing the audience, right? Yes. And you're just seeing them bawling all the different celebrities. Every celebrity is bawling. Tearing up, wiping their eyes. To Steve Alexander.
Heath's mentor, special friend, and agent for 10 years. We love you, Steve. I can hear a pin drop in that. The tour tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here, his peers, within an industry he so loved. Thank you. And now the rest of the family speaks. Yeah, it just goes on to his mom and sister, and it's kind of the same thing. Yeah. And I don't know if you guys thought this was weird, but Heath wasn't in the montage of celebrities that died. That's because he died last January and he was on last year's Oscars telecast. Really? Oh, you're right. Oh, that makes sense. I bet most of the universe was like, what is up with that? My wife said that and I remembered him being in last year's montage. And so I was like, oh yeah, he died last January. So he was in last year's Oscars telecast.
Wow. Did you guys dig Huge Jackman as the Oscar host? You know, the thing about Huge is he's really likable. Oh, I love him. I loved him. It made me like him. I love him. I loved him. I mean, I thought the skits and the dance numbers and stuff like that, like whatever. I mean, I liked him. I loved him. Let me tell you. I loved him so much. My folks were over and my mother-in-law. Boy, did they love them some huge Jack Maverick. It was great. Oh, did they love it. It was great. Those Broadway numbers? Forget about it. Of course. So clever. Yes. Great. Really enjoying it. How did you guys like when Jack Black and Jennifer Aniston got up to do their presentation? Yeah. Talk about it. The isolated shot of Angelina's reaction. Please. To Jennifer Aniston. Great direction. Great direction. We see what you're doing. Some of the other big awards from last night. Best Director went to Danny Boyle for Slumdog Millionaire.
Best actress in a leading role, Kate Winslet for The Reader. What is The Reader? Man, I've been hearing that. I'm like, isn't that a free newspaper in San Diego? In the opening skit, did you see the part about The Reader? I heard it. Oh, so funny. So he's kind of acting out all these little scenes from the movie. And then it's time to talk about The Reader. And it's like these dudes just in silver suits. And it kind of goes to this techno vibe. The Reader. I didn't see The Reader. Don't know what The Reader's about. That's great. It was funny. Actor in a leading role was Sean Penn for Milk. And finally, Best Picture went to Slumdog Millionaire. Milk. Milk. What a shock, man. Milk. Oh, and you would have loved Sean Penn's speech, Mike. Oh, yeah. Thank you. You commie, homo-loving sons of guns. Oh, Sean. I did not expect this, but I... And I wanted... We didn't either. Yeah, we were hoping. Yeah, we didn't expect it either. To be very clear that I do know how hard I make it to appreciate me often. That's true. Thank you, Sean, for acknowledging. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Thank you very much. But I am touched by the appreciation, and I hope for it enough that I did want to scribble down so I had the names in case. What is this about?
I hate the reading of the names of people we don't know. I hate that. We don't care. I also don't care for the, you know, just in case I put this together. All right. Come on, dude. We know what's up. Come on. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. You're welcome, Oprah. You were commie, homo-loving sons of guns. Thank you. It was kind of funny the first time. Now it's like, okay, we get it. I want to thank... Oh, come on already. Read it. He had to take out his glasses. Get Kate Winslet up there and read it. Thank you for mentioning him. We're really glad. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that.
Brian, Barry, and Bob. Aye, aye, aye. Cleve Jones. Does not mention his wife. He does not mention his wife. Lance Black. Oh. Lance Bass. Lance Bass. Lance Bass. Yeah. Well, it was milk. Yeah. Okay, got it, got it. He was a creative consultant. Thanks. And particularly, as all us actors know, our... Director either has the patience, talent, and restraint to grant us a voice. You're Jeff Spicoli, bro. So serious. You know what I mean? Come on. Or they don't, and it goes from the beginning of the meeting to through the cutting. Okay, I'm done with him. Thank you. I can't take it. But you're missing the good part where he starts ranting on gay marriage and how people should be ashamed of themselves. Really? And hate themselves. Okay. You got me, Scott. Thank you. Let's see. Game in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that. Yeah, go back a little bit. Signs of hatred. Ah, hatred. Find our hands to be in the Gus Van Zandt. Let me get up and give the opposing view after his acceptance speech.
Finally, for those two last finalies, for those who saw the signs of hatred as our cars drove in tonight. Were there yahoos out there? Were there protesters? That's what it sounds like. There are people protesting, probably because, you know, a film like Milk is nominated. And, you know, that means that Hollywood. It's about a gay guy. Yes. Right. And so, of course, the probably religious whack. Not the religious right. The religious whack was out there protesting. The film's already been made. Unmake it. Don't ever look at it. I'm sure they're going to win people over with that one too. With that protest sign. I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect. And anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes. I am not ashamed. What about your grandchildren? My grandchildren hopefully will not be ashamed that I didn't vote that way. And by the way, Sean, I'm not out there protesting. And you're Jeff Spicoli. They continue that way of support. We've got to have equal rights for everyone. And there are these last two things.
I'm very, very proud to live in a country that is willing to elect an elegant man president. What does that mean? We elect our presidents based on elegance. Yes. How he holds a wine glass. Yes. He should walk with a book on his head. I mean, come on. So weird. Elegant. And a country who, for all its toughness... You know... Thank you for saying that, Sean, because I'm glad that we did not elect, you know, McCain because he wasn't elegant. So uncouth. Dude, he was so not elegant. He doesn't even know how to like hold his tea cup. Thank you. And every single time during the debates that he tried to walk with books on his head, they fell. He used the wrong fork. He has no idea how to make a cucumber sandwich. Thank you. Get out of here. Thank you. Please. Creates courageous artists.
Great due respect to all the nominees, but courageous artists who, despite sensitivity that sometimes has brought enormous challenge, Mickey Rourke rises again, and he is my brother. Oh, boy. Thank you all very much. Yeah, so you'll notice a lot of the celebrities are wearing white ribbons, and this is the new trend, the white ribbon. symbolizes gay rights. What? Should it be rainbow? Or pink? I don't know. The white ribbon is what I read. Is there a memo out about this? How do we all know? I read the memo. You did? You got it? In the Libby Times? No, in People Magazine or something. Can anybody wear a ribbon? Only celebrities. Only nominated celebrities. Only nominated. That's it.
Well, there you go. Oh, Sean Penn. Sean Penn and I are very different. What? Very much so. We are very different. Oh, really? Love you, Sean. But we're different. We're different. Well, the Oscars, man. Holy Toledo, is there a lot of audio with the Oscars. There was some good stuff. I like that Seth Rogen. Oh, so good. Franco, James Franco. Yeah, all the funny things were so visual, though. Did you get to see that one? No. Yeah. They did these little video yearbooks where they lump together all the action movies and all the comedy movies and they just review them. Yeah. It has nothing to do with the awards or any category. Yeah. But there was one where Seth Rogen and James Franco, they're doing their characters from Pineapple Express and they're watching the best comedies. Yeah. And they were showing scenes from dramatic movies. It reminded me of Sky watching Magnolia. And it's a stoner movie. Oh, and they're laughing. They're high. Yeah. They're watching scenes from, like, the reader of, like, Nazi stuff, and they're, like, hysterically laughing. And then they show James Franco, because he was also in Milk, and he was kissing another guy, and then James Franco back on the couch on Pineapple Express, and he, like, puts his arm around Seth Rogen. It was pretty funny. Yeah, it was really funny. For the Tina Fey, Steve Martin.
That was great. That was cute. I liked that, too. And then my other favorite was the Ben Stiller. That was great. That was genius. What was it? He came out dressed as Joaquin Phoenix. Genius. Get out of here. And acted like him. Put it on the podium. They're presenting the award and the chick. Who is the chick? I forget. Natalie Portman. Natalie Portman's reading the nominees and they're flashing on the screen and he's turning and watching. That's so awesome. It was really funny. That is awesome. And a great idea. That's funny. So 5701053, your thoughts, your feelings. Of course, on the red carpet, got some dissing going on again with the Ryan Seacrest. I can't believe that. They hate that guy. Yeah. Do they hate American Idol too? Well, Brad and Angelina just, I think, hate the red carpet in general. And like, oh, really? We have to talk to the people. But don't they talk to other people? Well, it was funny because I don't really watch the red carpet stuff, but I was folding laundry like about a half hour before the Oscars were going to start. So I'm like, I'll put the TV on while I fold the laundry. And they're like, oh, Brad and Angelina have arrived. They've arrived. Blah, blah, blah. And they're just blowing past all the interviews.
viewers and they're towards the end of the red carpet and the official like abc crew the guy literally is like Fast-paced walking behind Angelina. Because obviously calling their name doesn't get them to stop or anything. And literally grabs her by the arm. A grab that to me looked like it was going to hurt. And she like turns around like she's going to sock him in the face. And then he goes, Angelina, I'm the official interviewer for the Oscars. Can I just say you and Brad, you're so elegant and blah, blah, blah. And just kind of kisses their ass. And then she kind of fake smiles and goes, thank you. And walks away. But he like a cop. The way he like grabbed her arm, you know, you know, his job probably depended on it. They're like, you better get Brad to talk to you or you're not back next year. Well, I was kind of same situation. I'm making dinner last night and it's on, you know, the red carpet thing is on, but I'm not looking at anything. I'm just getting stuff ready. I hear them say, and here's Brad and Angelina. And I turned around.
Now I want to see. Oh, sure. Now let me see. I have a natural thing in me, curiosity about, it's like looking at a unicorn. They're so good looking, the two of them together. And so I want to stare at it. And I stared at them in my mind. Who did you feel was better looking? I believe Angelina is better looking than Brad, but only by the most minute amount. Is she better looking to me? Brad's starting to show a bit of his age. A little bit. I agree. I saw that last night. A little bit. A tiny bit. But he's still very pretty. He's gorgeous. Beautiful. Just beautiful. He's just beautiful. He's a dapper. He is. The two of them together are a sculpture made of ice. Flawless. It never melts. It doesn't melt. I wish it would.
On me. I wish it would. Awesome. I wish it would melt already. Yeah, please. I'm tired of it being so good looking. Oh, man. Wow. 570-1053 is our number. You want to join in on this little rat race? I don't even know what that means. I'm not sure either, but I liked it. P1 Scooby. Hey, you guys. What's going on? What's up, dude? I love Scooby. I said to my wife, I said, I like how Scooby gives us those warm, you know, those warm pipes. You know, they're good. Oh, yeah. What's up, Scoob? No, I wanted to comment about how influential The Mikey Show is in my life while I was watching the Oscars. Talk to me. The fact that when they were doing the foreign films, and then that Asian dude comes up on the stage and he says, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yes. I was laughing my butt off. As was I, sir. Did you think of us when Kramer vs. Kramer was referenced? I did indeed. Hello. Hello. And then when Will Smith said, boom goes the dynamite. Yes. That was true. Nice. That's awesome. Very nice. I was like, the monkey show is crazy in my life. Well, you know that.
You know that when they said each of those references, it was because they listened to the show avidly. Will Smith, P1. That's right. Big time. Big time. Yeah, I was like, how white elephant is Brad and Jennifer Aniston? Dude. So, what is it about? You know, like, what are we supposed to think of that? Yeah, what are we going to do? What are we going to do there? Did you see that Jennifer, like, shot a quick glance in their direction during that? when Jack Black was talking? This is about five feet away, man. I think they were literally like five feet away from me. So awkward. So uncomfortable. Can I speak from backstage? I should have just started making out. Well, if Jen Aniston agrees to be a presenter, she has to know that they're going to do shots of, you're not dumb. It's their night. You know, I think Jen shouldn't have been there. How dare you? I am in the Brad and Angelina camp. You're a horrible person. Wow. I am team Aniston. I don't care. I am team Aniston. I hate Aniston. I think she's Aniston. Oh, you don't want to ask you something. What's up? Did your dad do anything when Penelope Cruz started speaking Spanish? Well, of course he was filled with...
Pride. He was sitting there filled with pride. He wasn't even paying attention. He was sitting there eating his spaghetti until all of a sudden Penelope Cruz gets up there and starts speaking Spanish. And then, oh, now who's paying attention? He should have dashed his hopes and been like, Dad, she's from Spain, not Mexico. Exactly. Oh, that's fantastic. Thank you so, so much. Oh, wow. You, lady. You sound just like Penelope Cruz. You rocked my life. Oh, wow. Every year, there must be these. How did you guys feel about the big acting nominees when they brought out the old winners? I love that. I loved that. Liked it. When they did it. When they did the acting nominees or awards, they brought out past winners. Yeah. You know, like five past winners to like. give a little tribute or whatever to the nominees. I thought it was very heartfelt. To me it felt genuine. It made a lot of the nominees emotional to see their heroes saying such wonderful things about them. It was cool. Maybe this is something that they've been doing for a long time and it's just an observation I made last night because I don't watch TV much but when they were doing the awards for screenplay
They made it interesting by showing the scene. That was dope. And at the same time they're showing the scene, they're putting the script up on the screen so you can follow along what the script says. And it was cool. That was cool. I thought that was an interesting touch. 570-1053. I'm going to say it. It was the best Oscars ever. Oh, wow. I'm going to say it. I really enjoyed that. Best Oscars ever. I really enjoyed that. Of all time. I wouldn't go that far. Really? Of all time. You okay with Huge Jackman coming back and being the... Every year. Really? You're welcome. Eddie? I liked Huge. I think he did a good job, but I still kind of missed the funny comedians. The Billy Crystal? Not Billy Crystal. The song and dance? No. No, no, no, no. But I wouldn't mind a Seinfeld or a guy like that hosting again. This could not have been more uncomfortable and awkward. Ryan Seacrest interviewing the Slumdog Millionaire kids. Oh, no. Just so weird. Ryan Seacrest with you broadcasting live around the world from Hollywood with a whole bunch of kids from Slumdog Millionaire. Say hi, guys. Hi. Now, because we're short on time and I can't pronounce all these names, let me just hold up the, here's who we've got. That's everybody, right? Those are all your names. I can't pronounce your Indian names. Oh, my. If he can't, he can't. What is he going to do? You can't pronounce the names. You can't pronounce the names. But what an awkward way.
To get into like, yeah, you know what I mean? Just don't go there. Okay, good. We get it all? All right, now everybody shout your name at once. One, two, three. That didn't go well. Not at all, Ryan. Not at all. Didn't actually go well at all. You know what I mean? Sorry? God bless you. How is it working on Some Dog Millionaire? Yes. He doesn't speak English. Oh, he doesn't speak English. Okay. All right. Wonderful. I should have told you that. Wonderful. Great. Translate that. He doesn't speak English. Yeah, translate that. He does. He doesn't speak English. I'm not really sure how I can translate that much better if we make that more clear. He knows speaking English. He's not saying this. He felt really good, and it's unbelievable for him. And tell me, how is it for you to be on the red carpet with all these big stars at the Academy Awards? It's great. I mean, you look like, look at you, you look like a grown-up man in that tuxedo. Thank you. How do you feel tonight? Are you gay? When did you just come at it to close it? Come on, the world wants to know.
I love you to say it. I mean, Milk is nominated tonight and everything. But doesn't it make sense to do this tonight? Are you queer for Simon? Pete and Oscar, this movie. Especially at your age, right? Yeah. And I'm sure if you guys get a chance to thank anybody, you'd like to thank your wife and your husband and all of your kids. And what's your name? My name is Rubina. Well, she speaks good English. Yeah. Who's made that dress? Where'd you get your dress tonight? I don't know. The Gap. From Brooklyn Brothers. Ah, of course. Well, you guys have a great time in there. Fantastic. No problem. Never interview us again, okay? It's going to be the worst. Fantastic movie. Congratulations. Go enjoy it. No drinking champagne. Okay? All right? Bye-bye. I didn't know he's that good with kids. Interview of the year. Hey, P1BigDog wants to talk to Eddie about Huge Jackman. Go ahead, Big Dog. Hey, how's it going? Good, brother. One little quick thing. I'm surprised Eddie was off on Huge Jackman when at the end of the beginning montage, Huge Jackman's up there. I'm Wolverine. Come on, Eddie. I thought you were a comic book. Wow, Eddie. Wow. I said I liked him. I thought you liked him. Eddie liked Huge. I liked Huge. Did I say that I didn't like him? Big Dog. Yeah. He liked Huge Jackman. I liked him.
Oh, he was making it sound at the beginning. You were off on huge. Oh, no. He loved him. No, he just said he wouldn't want him back like every single year. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I agree there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Give the rest of the X-Men a chance. Wait. So who should be? Now Colossus. Colossus next year. Yeah, Cyclops. Whatever. Cyclops, okay. How does that new Wolverine look to you? Great. Yeah? Fantastic. That looks pretty cool. Yeah, it's awesome. I think so, too. I like that helicopter thing they show. When he's jumping up on the helicopter into the blades. That looks rad. Okay, we got some big stuff going on in the show today. Huge, big stuff on the show. Huge Jackman. Huge Jackman stuff. First of all, text us. Text Mikey at gmail.com. There is a guy that is claiming that he is the Octomom dad that's going to be on TV this morning. And it's all over the internet right now.
This dude is claiming that he is the Octo mom's dad. Or, you know, the father of the kids. Octo dad. And she is saying he's a fake. Wow. Oh, man. We have details on that. Coming up next, we also have Rourke and Tattoo stopping by to talk to us about the Oscars. Oh, really? Yeah. Were they there? Yes. That's right. They were there. Nancy O'Dell, who is at the Oscars. She'll be coming up on the show today. We got a lot of big stuff for you. But next, we'll give you the details on that deal. And let's see, Nick DePalle on the stand-up spotlight. It's never like a stripper convention in my hotel, you know? Every time I check in, the marquee reads something like, welcome osteoporosis sufferers, you know? I'm trying to sleep at night, but I can't because I'm listening to people's hips snap in the parking lot. It's a little icy. I was at a Hyatt. They had one of those glass hotels. I watched like 50 people in their late 90s go shooting up in that thing. I'm like, I don't remember a button that said heaven, you know? What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. That's the P1 Army. The Mikey Show. They turn their radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss when they call in. Before I went to break, I said that the guy is claiming to be the dad of all those Octokids. And he's going to be on Good Morning America. Yeah, this is really weird. Because when this news broke, it was like, oh my gosh, Good Morning America has the exclusive. The Octodad is finally going to speak. Because, you know, this woman who gave birth to Octuplets now has 14 kids through in vitro fertilization. Says that she used the same sperm donor for all of the children. And that the sperm donor is, you know, someone she knows from her life. But has never given details like who he is or anything like that. So this guy claims. Which is weird, by the way. You'd think that that would be kind of a big deal, who that dude is. Yeah, I mean, I can understand somebody wanting to protect his privacy. I mean, not that I'm making any excuses for her because everything about this story is weird. But I can understand if he didn't sign up to be this part of the media circus, whatever. He's not like the dad. He's not like he's going to be involved, right? Yeah, right. What I was surprised about was just how he's not being searched.
You know, like how the media is like I can understand him not wanting to be a part of it. They've been searching. They've been digging up birth certificates and looking at all that. But the information isn't there. Yeah. So. So this guy comes out saying that he is the Octodad and that he doesn't want his name revealed, but he will reveal his identity this morning on Good Morning America. But does say that he dated Octomom from 97 to 99 and that on more than one occasion, he donated sperm to the same sperm bank that she used. Hmm. But then goes on to say that even if the babies... It doesn't make sense. Yeah. He says he wants a paternity test. And he says if the babies turn out that they're not his, he would still like to help Octomom raise them. Oh, mama!
Oh, that's weird. So we told you last week how Octomom got dropped by her PR firm because they were getting too many death threats. Well, she now has a new publicist, and the new publicist issued a statement over the weekend saying that the guy who's going to be talking to Good Morning America is not the real sperm donor. The real sperm donor knows who he is, and this guy is definitely not him. Why are they talking to him? Yeah, but I don't know. Good Morning America, I guess, is going through with it. So it'll be interesting to see what he says. But this guy wants a paternity test. Well, if for no other reason, I think it'll be a great interview to watch because you're watching a nut job. If he really is the dad, it's interesting. If he's not the dad, it's interesting. He's a nut. saying that he's the Octodad. Yeah, that is really weird, man. It just seems weird that Good Morning America would be so irresponsible and just be like, oh, really? You're the Octodad? Yeah. Oh, well, boss Rob, you're out of seats. Exactly. That is weird. Coming up, we're going to be talking. We're going to be doing a little of the sports dirt, find out who won the race yesterday in Fontana. We'll do a little bit of that.
And your phone calls, 570-1053 is our phone number if you want to give us a call. This guy was upset that Mickey Rourke did not win Best Actor. He says, how did Mickey not win? Holy sweet Sarah Long's mother in a yellow jumpsuit. That is weird. He deserved to win that Oscar. He won Adrian Oso. That's a good point. Yeah, I think he should have won too, man. He's really good. 570-1053. Our text is Mikey at gmail.com if you'd like to text us. Three GOP governors don't want to take stimulus money. Three Republican governors don't want to take stimulus money. Why? Well, these governors are from Mississippi, South Carolina, and Louisiana. And the money that they're specifically saying that they don't want to take is the money that is set aside that would extend unemployment benefits. Rob will take it. Don't give it to me in little sums like $15. So this whole stimulus plan has money set aside to work on different things. And one of the things is to extend unemployment because there's so many people unemployed so people can collect unemployment longer. Well, these three governors say that if they take...
take that money, it would then force them to expand the categories of who's eligible to apply for unemployment. And they say that once that federal money runs out, that means that they'll have to raise taxes in order to pay for that. And, you know, they're Republicans and they don't want to raise taxes. And then one of the governors, the South Carolina one, goes even a step further saying that he doesn't want to take the money that's designated for retrofitting state buildings to become more energy efficient. And there's no explanation to why he doesn't want to take that money. That's weird. But it's just, you know, odd to me in these hard economic times that anyone would be turning away this stimulus money. Are they allowed to do that? I think so. I don't think they're forced to take it. What a trip. Yeah. So that's, you know, I don't know how the unemployed people of Mississippi, South Carolina, and Louisiana are going to feel about all that. And I wonder if some other states are like, fine, we'll take it. We'll give it to our people. Oh, please. I'm sure California will have no problem taking that. Yeah, that's right. We'll take it. We need it. Help us build the machines. That's right. Well, no, we need it for other things like roads. We need the stimulus package to build the machines. No, no, Governor. That's what we need. We have to help Adam Carolla. Right. Why? Well, we just got canned. Oh, no. Oh, Adam Carolla. Unemployment for Adam. For Adam.
Yeah, well, don't worry, Governator, because, well, you know, he was doing his morning radio show with CBS Radio out of L.A., and he, you know, that show got canceled. I was a big fan. Oh, did you listen a lot? You would stream it from Sacramento? Yeah. Right. Well, I would listen to the Morning Buzz here. Yeah. Vocally. Yeah. With Rhino. It's Sacramento. Rhino and Manny. Rhino. They do the morning show, Morning Buzz. Okay. And Arnie, Manny, and Finch. Yes, Finch is good. Yeah, Arnie, Manny, and Finch. Finch is like their Boston Rob. Yeah. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, okay. I didn't know. I've never listened to the Morning Buzz. An intern buttercup. She's really good, I heard. That's a man.
What's your problem, man? It's a very feminine name. That's the joke. Oh, my bad. My bad. You should get into Money Radio. So anyways, I guess CBS is still going to take care of Adam Carolla because they announced that he has signed on to star in a comedy pilot for CBS TV called Ace in the Hole, which will star Adam Carolla as a husband and father who works as a driving instructor. Is that right? That sounds terrific. Can't wait. Must see TV. That's right. Did you guys know that Rihanna issued a statement and she's not commenting? What do you mean? How do you issue a statement but not comment? Yeah. Part of her statement is commenting on the fact that she is not allowed to comment on the alleged assault by Chris Brown. Yeah, then why are you saying? She says at the request of authorities, she will not be talking about the specifics. So what do you got, Rihanna? What are you saying? Wants to assure her fans that she's remaining strong. She's doing well. She deeply appreciates the outpouring of support that she has received during this difficult time.
A Japanese doctor say that they can increase your breast size, ladies. What's up? How are we doing this? With your cell phone. Or an app? Maybe I've had my phone too close to my breasts. Because as a man, I have boobs. Man boobs. Well, this is different. So basically the way it works is you download a specific ringtone. You download a ringtone? And they say if you listen to the boob tone 20 times a day for 10 days straight, they say your boobs will grow an average of 1.2 inches. Hey, what does a girl have to lose? That freaks me out. Is it a free app? I also heard that if all the ladies listening right now find a male in the office and try to touch their elbows on their back four times a day in front of all the guys, their boobs will get bigger.
Eight times bigger. That's a lot. Ten times bigger. The ringtone is the sound of a baby crying, which they say ignites maternal instincts, which launch hormones that pump up your breasts. I gotta tell you, like, the older I get, the more and more I become into, like, history stuff. Sky. Um, you know, your friend's a little sensitive and isn't a big fan of violence. Boston Rob's. I watch a lot of Food Network lately, and it's mostly because of you. And Ashley. I love my bangs, and they grow out so freaking fast. Save that clip. I know. Save that clip. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Back to The Mikey Show. Some texters hate the Oscars. It's 657. Mikey, I hate the Oscars. Sorry, everything turns into politics. It makes the show so disgusting to watch.
That's P1 Andrew, the Frake Train, who texted us. There was one political comment. A full night. He texted us at textmikey at gmail.com. Right, and it was, what, Sean Penn? Yeah, that was the only one all night long, which I thought was... I didn't care for the Oscars. You didn't either? That was the first time I've ever actually watched, like, a full show. Yeah. And not just seen clips, and it's just kind of boring. Yeah. You should leave. Robert's never watched it before. He watched it, finally. I really never did. Are you a movie buff? I wouldn't call myself a movie buff. If you're not really a movie buff, then the Oscars aren't really for you. It just upset me about those short film things. Like, who cares? Just the fact that they had them, right? That is exact, like, no one's ever heard of it. Yeah. No one is ever going to hear of them. Yeah. No one's ever going to hear of these people. So the category of short films upset you. Get rid of it. That's the whole reason why you hated the observations. No, no, no. I agree with him on that one. This is one of the things. His observations. And it's not, none of them were American. None of them were American. Nothing was in English. You mean the foreign short films? Is that what you're referring to? No, any of the short films. Foreign language films? I would be mad about that, too. The animated shorts?
The Le Bloch Le Cubes or whatever it was. Seriously, why do they have that on there? Like, who cares? And then the people trying to get up there and thank the people that don't understand English in English. It's like, just speak your language, dude. No one cares about this category. Thank you so much. We're not paying attention right now. We're finishing our spaghetti, right, Mike? That's true. Yeah. You were eating spaghetti too? Wow. No. I was pretending. Yeah. I get what you're saying. I love movies, but I hate when they do that foreign stuff and that animated foreign animated... Fast forward. What if you're watching it live, Skye? You don't watch anything live anymore. If you watch anything live, you're just asking for trouble. Is that what you do? You wait a half hour? Oh, yeah. I always wait. Last night, I waited about an hour and a half before I started the Oscars. Get out of here. So I fast forward through all the boring speeches, all the boring categories, and all the commercials. Smart. Oh, well, try watching the whole thing. You're going to hate the Oscars. Well, that's not true. Because I watched it. Well, I watched the whole thing.
Andrew the freight train is on the line to defend himself. Are you there, dude? Yeah, Scott, you're wrong. Actually, there was two incidents. One was with Sean Penn. Yeah. And then the other one was halfway through the Oscars with one of the directors or something like that from Milk who started saying, yeah, gay people should have all the rights. Oh, well, I fast forwarded through that. I didn't hear it. See? But still, please. Two little references? Come on. Yeah. I mean, it kind of just killed the show, though. I don't want to watch the Oscars for politics. I just want to watch it for the entertainment part. I'm with you, dude. And you know what? Usually on the Oscars, there's going to be political stuff. You just know it. Well, and especially if you're winning for... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, especially if you're winning for, like, a gay movie, you know? Like, I mean, normally you're going to, if you're... touching on subject matter like that, normally you're probably going to address it in your acceptance speech. Yeah. That's just my thought with the blood diamond, the bling bling, like all this. We know the king of Scotland. We get it. Okay. We reference our movies. You're going to hear politics. Yeah. You can't avoid it. No. All right, brother. Thank you. All right. A story of a woman who was able to stop a bullet with her hair weave.
Bohem gold, 100% Remy, and Egyptian wave. There are thousands of hair weave options on the market, but none of them say bulletproof. But maybe they should. According to Kansas City Police, a Metro woman escaped serious injury thanks to her tightly woven hair weave. Tuesday night, a 20-year-old Metro woman says her ex-boyfriend fired several shots at her in the 5800 block of Spoke Parkway. After she said she didn't love him anymore, bullets shattered her back. I mean, are you kidding me already with this? This is already the most compelling story I've ever heard in my life. Windshield and police recovered one bullet from her hair weave. Pause. It stopped it. Basically, I still think it was God who was actually actually in my passenger seat with me who actually stopped it. I do. Well, and your hair weave. Oh, yeah. He gave you that hair weave, lady. You know what I'm saying? Never heard of weave saving anybody's life. Never. You haven't? You have not. They should give, like, the SWAT team hair weave. That's a great idea. That's what I'm saying. Kim Walton has been sewing and gluing in hair weave for more than 30 years. And the weft is this part right here.
And it's the hardest part for anything to go through. Walton says the weft is the strongest part of the weave. The weft? It's a weft. The weft? Right next to the white? You can have my number, baby. Thank you. And while she's thankful that the young woman survived the shooting, she and her clients wonder how the weave made the difference. If it would take something like that to save your life, it's unfortunate that it happened. Thank God for weave. Girl. So what happens when we go out to a party with some sisters, huh? Yeah, you get your weave on. Yeah, you get your weave on. You know it. That's what I'm saying. That is awesome. Yeah, it is. Now, the top sports stories of the day. It's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Let's go racing, boys. Yeah, baby. Well, Matt Kenseth, he remains undefeated in 09. He won his second race in a row. He won Daytona, of course, and he won the Auto Club 500 in Fontana, holding off Jeff Gordon late to become, I mean, he's two in a row for Matt Kenseth. The Daytona 500 and this one. Yeah, so he's a back-to-back winner. Nice. Yeah, let's hear him talk about his win. Just a great team, great crew, great engines. You need everything to go right, really, to be able to win these.
these races, and, you know, our car handled really good all day, and we had excellent pit stops. About our fourth one from the end, we were a little bit off, and I started complaining, and then all of a sudden, they got me three or four spots every stop, so the pit stops were really important to our outcome. Their adjustments were really important. We were a little off, even though we got in front, we got ran down and passed, and I don't even know what they changed. Drew and Chip came up with a... Changing a couple things and got it just good enough there at the end. It wasn't easy, but it was just good enough to hold them off. Eddie, if they can do it in NASCAR, how come they haven't figured out a way for us to put gas in our car in seven seconds? Oh, now that would be awesome. How come it takes us so long at the gas pump to sit there and fill up your car? I guess because our tanks are bigger? I don't know what it is, man. That's my only guess. I don't know. That would be cool. We pull up and some guy with a can comes out and just throws it in there. And sometimes we take off with the can still in. That would be rad. Well, Eddie, the ladies would take off with a can still in. You know that the ladies would take off with a can still in. Whatever. A couple of cans. Okay.
It was a roller coaster, but Phil Mickelson held on and repeated as champion, winning the Northern Trust Open. Yay, Phil Mickelson. The Cardinals have offered Kurt Warner over $10 million to try and keep him as the quarterback of their team. $10 million. They really want him back. Dude. I know. Matt Leiter must be like, what the hell? Oh, my gosh. That guy is not going to start. I don't think so. I think he needs out of Arizona. Yeah. The Braves and veteran outfielder Garrett Anderson have agreed on a one-year deal. And Trevor Hoffman took out a full-page ad in the UT thanking San Diego. Are you serious? Peace out. What a classy move, dude. Do people do that? That is classy, man. I don't know. I guess, you know, I've never seen really anybody doing that. But he was in there talking about it, you know, how. The people in San Diego had a profound effect on his time here in San Diego and just wanted to say thank you. That rules. All that stuff, yeah. That is the ultimate in class, man. Do we know what paper it was in? The Union Tribune. I mean, like today? Yesterday. Oh, really? Sunday? That ain't cheap. A full-page ad in a Sunday paper? Just to say thanks, dude. Just to say thank you to the community. That is an amazing gesture, man. It just shows you he's a classy dude. Good thing we shipped him off. Yeah, right?
We could use less of that in San Diego. Who needs class? Get out of here, guys. Great. There you go. I'm very sad to announce that former first cat, Socks, has died. Oh, no. Why? Not Socks? It is the truth. It is the truth. What happened, Sky? I can't live anymore. Well, Socks was the Clintons' cat. And, uh, yeah. Socks is dead. Hillary's alive. Well, you know, the Clinton family, they aren't the most traditional family. We all, I'm sure, have our own ideas what goes on behind closed doors with them. But for some reason, Socks the cat went to live with Bill Clinton's secretary when the Clintons left the White House in 2001. This is very personal for me. Not really. You shipped a cat off. So Socks died with Clinton's secretary.
Why did they not keep the cat? Well, I... They didn't have time to wrestle around. Well, I mean, if they're not even living in the same house, I mean, where's the cat going to go? It's not easy. It's not easy. Yeah, what's up with that? Like, you leave them alone. They're awful people. 570-1053 is the phone number. There is this electric implant device that's been approved for severe OCD. Now, you know what I'm talking about? Some people, they got to tap the... Touch the doorknob like three times. Wash their hands compulsively. I'm on my way. Yeah? Yeah. Really? Tapping in my head, touching stuff. Do you? It's because of the freaking Red Sox, man. Oh, dude. It's making you OCD. It has. It's horrible. Well, here's your new treatment, Rob. What do you got, Skye? I got to download that boob tone, right? Yes. Yes, it's a boob tone. The boob tone. Well, this is for people who have severe OCD and that medication and psychotherapy haven't worked for them. They just approved a small electrical generator.
That will basically shock your brain. Get out. Yeah, it'll block abnormal nerve signals to the brain. Where's it go? Where do they stick it? They implant it near the abdomen or the collarbone. I don't know. I guess your choice. Whatever you fancy. And then it's connected to electrodes that are implanted in the brain. Oh, come on. Yeah, so that's for severe cases where medication and psychotherapy haven't worked. Like Rob's. It's for people like Rob. I think we should just hook a car battery up to Rob's brain. Why don't we do that? See if it works. So Obama says that he has a plan that he wants to throw out there to us to cut the deficit in half. Sky, put your gloves on. Okay. Put your gloves on. He's going to do it, Mike. We're going to talk. We're going to talk, all right? Oh, wait till I tell you how long he says this is going to take. He can do it. Skye, strap yourself in. Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I love documentaries. Eddie. I like to do what I like to do. I don't care really how I look anymore. I'm just like, whatever. Sky. I love award shows. I love the OC. I love 90210. You know, so when it comes to pop culture, it's my like one last. This is still the number one hip-hop song in the country right now. Yeah, it is. You know, that Beyonce and the single ladies. Hey, you want to text us? Come on. You can text us if you want. Jump on textmikey at gmail.com. We have the texts back.
And it's pretty cool to have him back. So take advantage if you can. This text message says, Mikey, Eddie was a genius in the Ashley After Show on Friday. Completely made my weekend. Thanks. That's P1 Kung Fu. If you don't know what she's talking about. Go to MikeyShow.com. Yeah, good times. Genius. That's right. I don't know. What do you mean? MikeyShow.com. I don't know about that word to describe your behavior. I don't even remember. Oh, man. If you go there and you go to the Ashley After Show, after each show, Ashley interviews people on the show, asking them how the show went. She grabbed Eddie at the end of the show on Friday. It was ridiculous. He was just going about his daily business. It was ridiculous. He was trying to work. Doing my normal after show routine. P1 Ryan text messaged us and said, Mikey, I hate it when people call it OCD. It's CDO alphabetized the way that it should be. I get it. It's P1 Ryan. Thank you, Ryan. If you would like to text us, text Mikey at gmail.com. Mikey, I'm still not completely sure on what.
A weft is. That's P1 Rollin. Sky, did you get it? I don't get it either. What is a weft in a hair weave? Barbara could probably tell us. She would for sure. Yeah, because she's a black lady. But what is a weft? That's what we're trying to figure out. All right, Sky, before you do that. I think I'd rather Google. No, no, no. Let's fight about Obama. Let's fight about Obama. Let's fight about Obama. Light him up. Weaving is the textile art in which two distinct sets of yarn or thread called the warp and the filling or weft are interlaced. The filling. And let's keep going. So what happens when we go out to a party with some sisters, huh? What happens? All right, Skye. No. Still don't know what that means. President Obama. It's the filling, Eddie. Yeah, the weft. President Obama says he can cut our deficit in half. In half. In half, Eddie. Yes, he can, you guys. Yes, we can. Yes, he can. All right. So, and.
Listen how long he says it's going to take. Go ahead, Skye. Well, he says he plans to do it by the end of his first term. Oh, really? How dare you? Really? 2013. Really? Come on. Four years. He's got it, guys. He's going to cut it in half. Yeah, he's got it, bro. Does he think that no one's listening? Yeah, I mean. I'm listening. We're going to check, Obama. Yeah, you know, we're going to check on that at the end of the four years, bro. And when you run again, we're going to bring it up. Exactly. No, he's got it, you guys. You're going to feel stupid in 2013. Hey, if he can do it, then I'll vote for him. Yeah, hello. Oh, yeah, save that clip. Yeah, absolutely. Hey, dude, that would be awesome. Me too. I will too. I'll go on record. That would be crazy. If he cuts the deficit in half. Oh, I love this. If he cuts the deficit in half in four years, who wouldn't be in on that? February 23rd, 09. Thank you. Save that date. Here we go. First of all, the deficit is like a gazillion trillion. A trillion. Yes. Gadrillion. No one knows. You know what I mean? Yeah, so he says he plans to achieve this by scaling back in Iraq on the war spending, allowing the tax cuts that George Bush had enacted for people making more than $250,000 a year to expire as scheduled in 2010, and then to streamline the government and eliminate programs that don't work.
Okay. Go for it. Yeah. Good luck. All sounds good to me. How about fart rainbows? Can we do that, too? You can do it, Mike. All right. I would like to be able to fart a rainbow. Just let the man work. Okay? All right. We'll let him get working. By your own damn friends. That's the first thing we need to do. Yeah, step on. That'll help. All right. Let's check in with our weekend worry warts. This was P1 Chloe. My boyfriend and I got married on Friday the 13th, and now we get to tell my parents. Oh, man. They don't know? Actually. How old are you? I'm 19. 19 years old. Got married, eloped. Parents didn't know. She told them this weekend, apparently. Chloe, you there? Yep. How'd that go over? It actually went surprisingly well. Really? Yeah. My dad kind of gave the what look. Yeah. Now, isn't your dad, he's like a pastor in the military. Yeah.
Yeah. And you were saying that your ex-boyfriend is the one that he wanted you to be with. He was in the Air Force, but that guy cheated on you. Yeah, like really bad. And your dad was like, ah, boys will be boys. Get back together with him. Strangest thing in the world. Yeah. Okay, and so you told your mom and dad, and they were actually okay with it? At first, I thought they were going to rip my throat off. Yeah. Oh, good. Why? How did they react? Yeah, what do you mean? My mom was just, like, ten different kinds. It was weird. My mom was ten different kinds of, like, excited. Uh-huh. And your dad? My dad, um, I was kind of terrified for the first five minutes because he had this, like, angry, I'm going to kill you. Yeah. The look. Yeah. That's the worst. And then he kind of stopped, and I guess, I don't know, it was weird because... Were they sitting or were they standing? He was sitting. How about mom? I made sure that he was sitting. How about mom? It was weird because after about five, ten minutes of just sitting there glaring at me, his facial expression completely changed and he just smiled. He's like, well, does he make you happy? How about your mom? All right. What about your mom? My mom, when I told her, I sat them down with Derek. So the hubby was there.
And she was just like, she just started grinning. I was like, okay, whatever, you know. Is this one working? Last Friday, Derek and I got married. And she stopped and looked at me and said, I know. Oh, really? What? She didn't tell me how she knew. Oh, she's a P1. Yeah, she's a P1. She's a P1. That and she has your apartment bugged. Maybe. Wow. Well, congratulations, Chloe. It's all over. Yep. In terms of, you know, telling them. Now, the rest of your life. The rest of your life. For all of eternity. Yes, that's right. Now you got to make it work out so that they're not all, you know, right about you getting married young. Yeah. All right. Thank you. Appreciate the phone call. This was P1 Jenna. My best friend of 10 years is going to elope in Vegas this weekend. And she made me grab up all my stuff and rush there tonight. And she just got her last divorce finalized in January. Never understand this. Never understand this. She's got a divorce. Boom. Want to rush right back into another marriage. P1 Jenna.
Hi. Yeah. Good morning. Good morning. So this weekend was spent in Vegas. I was Vegas. It was fun, but I didn't get much studying done for my school this day. Yeah, I bet. So where did you stay? I stayed at the Sahara. Yeah. Oh. And so how was this thing? Well, it was all very crazy and, you know, just really quick. Everything about everything was rushed. And I talked to her, and the talk kind of went bad, and she kind of thought I was attacking her. How did the talk kind of go bad? Yeah, I need to hear about this. Well, I said, you know, I don't think you're doing the right thing. I think you should wait. Why can't you just wait? When did you have that conversation? In Vegas? In Vegas? Yes, in Vegas. That was the only time we had. Well, were either of you intoxicated at all?
Yes. That makes it better. That means it's okay. It means it wasn't supposed to come out. Here's really the most important question. Did you hit up the NASCAR cafe at the Sahara? That is not the question. That's right. Yeah, we did because we went to the buffet that was upstairs. So the guys had to stop in after. Can you imagine these drunk women at the NASCAR cafe? Two o'clock in the morning. I want to hear more about the talk. But it's only $8.99, Mike. The buffet there. How do you sell these things? I know everything. Will you just stop it? He really does. He really does. Too much. So what were you about to tell us? The craziest part? What? So she yelled at me, and she said I was tagging her in the conversation, and then she said, you know what, you're right, but I love him, and I want to get married. Oh, boy. So I supported her, and then we went to those weird, dinky chapels that are all over that place. Yep. And she picked kind of a good one, but it was like by appointments, there were a whole bunch of people in the lobby, and then you go upstairs, do it, and then you have to come back downstairs and wait in the lobby again. Yeah. So weird.
Romantic. I couldn't even imagine doing it, but yeah. Now we have somebody on the phone that wants to serenade you, so. Didn't we have it all? Oh, it's gorgeous. When it could have been happy together. Really beautiful. Didn't we have it all? Apparently not done. The nights we spent together. Very romantic. Very romantic. Well, congratulations. You are now the friend of a dysfunctional family. And to answer Eddie's question, yes, both of her husbands were Marines. Eddie, you figured you kind of called that one. Yeah, on Friday. Yeah, yeah, he did. Kind of figured that was the deal. All right, thanks for the update. We appreciate it. You're welcome. Conan O'Brien's last night on late night was Friday night, and he got a little bit emotional. Really? Apparently, as he was, you know, talking about all of it, and it was hitting him that it was going to be his last night. It was awesome, though, that show. You watched it? I...
DVI'd it. You did? DVI. That's right. And so here he is talking about. I don't know what I did to deserve the opportunity to do this. There are people that have hosted these kinds of shows who are, I'm sure, better than I am. Nobody has ever, ever enjoyed it more than I do. It's an incredible... Conan O'Brien getting emotional. Weird. Wow. 16 years. 16 years. Amazing honor to do this program for you people. Whoa. Yeah. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. And I want to say something about we're going on to this next gig. And sometimes I read that it's time for Conan to grow up because he's going to 1130. And I assure you, that's just not going to happen. Yay. There it is. Andy Richter came back. That's what I heard, yeah. Oh, that's cool. He did the whole show with him. It was awesome. Here's Andy. Now, for those of you that don't know, Andy Richter began the show with Conan O'Brien as his sidekick, his Ed McMahon. And then halfway through it, he split. Wanted to go do his own thing, right? Andy Richter saves the world. Yeah, really worked out. Really worked out for Andy. Listen to this clip. It's awesome. I said it was just a matter of time.
Wow. He's not doing much, Andy Richter. He really isn't. He's eating. Was he big? He's healthy. Don't be mean. Let's see. This is Conan on Letterman. Let me say very quickly, and I'm not going to go on too long, a little something about David Letterman. David Letterman invented this late night show. And I... Did you hear there was one person that was kind of like starting to... I mean, it was the smallest of patter. And then they realized, oh, joining me. Close their hands. He is, I believe, one of the probably one of the most brilliant broadcasters certainly of the last century and this century. If I had been there, I would have wanted to start. I would... I would have made it happen. Oh, yes. Just you keep going. You just get it. You do it loud. You give it two good ones and people get on it and then they all start. And for all of time, I have a terrific amount of respect for him and what he did. He set the bar absurdly high for everybody in my generation who does this. And living in his shadow has been a burden and an inspiration for me. Wow, dude. For years.
And I think we need to acknowledge that it all started. Thank you. Thank you very much. Text us. Text Mikey at Gmail dot com. You text us at Gmail dot com. Let's see. The Dark Knight. How much you guys think this movie has grossed worldwide? One million dollars. What's up? A million dollars. As much as our deficit. That's right. Skye, how much? The Dark Knight just passed the $1 billion worldwide box office. A billion. So it's now in fourth. I believe we have a clip from the movie. Oh, we do? Oscar winner Keith Ledger. Wow. Impressive. That was dark. Yeah. That was dark. Yeah. You can see how he had to get to a, like a really, you know, really dark place. People clapping. He had to get to a dark place in there.
So, The Dark Knight is now fourth on the list of all-time box office takes. Something that's made more than a billion dollars? Oh, yeah. It's number four on the list. Isn't a billion the new million, though? Yes, it is. I've heard that. I heard it was. No, I'm being serious, though. Like, there's so many millionaires. Yeah, but I mean, you got to figure it. There's probably not a lot of movies making a bill. I don't think so. Well, this is now fourth on the list. The Little Hunting did, I believe. Shut your mouth. The Departed was up there. No, on the list. Those are the only ones. No. All Boston movies. Number three is Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest. Number two, Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King. And the number one highest grossing movie of all time is Titanic. Oh. Yes. Eddie, how is it not Star Wars, dude? I don't know. How is it not? 5701053. Text us at textmikey at gmail.com. So. I just tell me you're the best. So check this out.

Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the ride's getting a little bit tougher as we move along here this morning. South 15 crawling now out of Vescondido from El Norte Parkway on down to Villarancho Parkway. Once you get over Lake Hodges, though, you're looking pretty good. This coaster ride's picking up some brake lights as well on South 5 out of La Costa in Pockets now down in Solana Beach. Hasn't been too bad out of the east county, though the westbound is kind of getting into the act now with a little bit of tight traffic from Fletcher Parkway out to Lake Murray. And the 805 northbound slowing now from the 15 off and on into North Park. and then a brief delay over to 52 out of Kearney Mesa. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Back to Mikey. When I was a kid, no supervision. I just, I wasn't supervised and I was free to watch whatever I wanted. Eddie. Yes, Mike, I have a gambling problem. No. Sky. We all know internally. Boston Rob. Mikey at Gmail, text Mikey at gmail.com. So right before we went to break, we played you the clip of Bob Wawa asking Mickey Rourke this question. What would winning an Academy Award mean to you? Now, the tough part is he didn't win it. I think we thought he was going to win it. Everybody thought he was. An old broken down piece of meat. I guess. Oscar clip. That's right. So here's what he said. Okay, I want to say you'll probably edit one of these things out, but I'll tell you. First of all, it would mean a great deal to me. It would be a tremendous honor. He thought he was going to win it. For sure. As he's answering that question, you can hear he thought he was going to win. Well, everybody was probably telling him. Yeah, lots of people thought he was. He'd already won the Golden Globe, which is usually indicative of what will happen, right? It would sum up the whole comeback thing, I guess, in a material.
Laterial kind of way? Yes. That's what I was thinking. Latino. No, it's like Letitia, but you're thinking like someone named Letitia. Oh, yeah. She was good. But in the big picture, you can't eat it. You can't f*** it, and it won't get me into heaven. I think that that's what most people were thinking there, Mickey. See, I thought you could. Or just you. Yeah, I thought you could do that with the statue, but I guess not. Most people were thinking that. Or just maybe he was just the only thing I was thinking about. I'll try. But that's it. You never know. Let's see. That is crazy, dude. Let's see. Poor Mickey. I think anybody saw that coming. Text us. Textmikey at gmail.com. This text message says, so B-Rob, what's the over-under on Jimmy Fallon's show getting canceled? I give it six months. P1 Bacchus says, I give it six months. Also, do you think that he's this generation's Chevy Chase? Oh, well, I don't care for Chevy too much, so yeah. Well, Chevy Chase had a failed show in late night. He did? Oh, really? Yeah, it lasted about five seconds. Uh-uh. Yeah? Bad for him. Yeah? Bad for him. What is the over-under on Jimmy Fallon's new show? I guess six months is good. Yeah? No. They'll let...
Conan had terrible numbers when he first started. Oh, really? People thought he was awkward and not very good at it, and they let him develop into it. So they'll do the same with Jimmy Fallon. So what do you say, Eddie? I say he's going to last for as long as he wants. Yeah. Really? How long would they give it before they said, we just are not seeing this show happening? Maybe over a year, like around two years. Wow. Wow, they would let it go that long. Probably. They did with Conan. This text message says, okay, I loved Ledger's performance as the Joker, but how many people do you think feel that he won solely out of sympathy? Wow. I mean, to me, it kind of sucks that he wasn't around to accept it because he would have been nominated no matter what. People were talking about that performance. I don't think him dying had anything to do with it. He's so good. He was amazing in that movie. Yeah, that Joker character. I don't think his dying played a role in it. I don't think so. None. He was so good. I don't think it mattered. It was him winning the award. And the Oscar goes to Heath Ledger in the dark. Oh, of course.
Heath Ledger and the Dark Knight. Who was that? Alan Arkin. It was Alan Arkin? Yeah. He's a great older actor. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not very excited, but I'm going to give you a one to Heath Ledger and the Dark Knight. I know everybody's anticipating this. There it is. Yeah. He won. Yeah. Congratulations. Want to hear Robert De Niro joking about how good Sean Penn was in milk? This is kind of funny. Oh, yeah. How did he do it? How for so many years did Sean Penn get all those jobs playing straight men? I love to hear Robert De Niro deliver jokes. It doesn't matter what he's doing. There's always an element of read in it. Just a tiny bit. Just a tiny bit. You can hear it. Let's see. So Rihanna has issued a statement. And the statement.
Doesn't really say anything. We mentioned this earlier, but she's basically saying, I'm not going to say anything. And she can't because there's a pending investigation. Right, Skye? Yeah. So, you know, basically, she just want everybody to know that she's OK. And, you know, thank you to everybody who supported her. But, you know, and she says in the statement that she won't talk about. It at the request of the authorities, the alleged, you know, domestic abuse by her boyfriend, Chris Brown. But, you know, there's conflicting reports on whether she how far she's actually cooperating with this investigation, which is interesting. Speaking of Kenan Thompson from Saturday Night Live. Oh, he's so unfunny. Don't know who he is. Couldn't agree more. Yes, I totally agree with that. He plays the same person in every skit. Yeah, it's just that... Has he been in any movies? Yes, Snakes on a Plane. For real? Are you serious? Don't act like you guys haven't seen it. Yeah, I missed that. We all pretend that we haven't, but we've all seen it. You guys have stars. So Keenan Thompson, right? Yeah.
He has apparently said and wants to go on record as saying he would love to have Chris Brown back as a musical guest on SNL. That's interesting timing. Yeah, I'm sure Lorne Michaels isn't a big fan of the statement. He said, it's not up to me, but I'm sure we would have him back if he had another hit single. We don't care about scandal. We just care about what brings us ratings. Weird. I don't know. Lauren Michaels is probably like, yeah, you shouldn't speak unless I tell you it's okay. It doesn't make sense. I don't think Lauren Michaels would be okay with that. Who is that? Lauren Michaels? He's the creator of Saturday Night Live. He's the big boss over there. Neil Patrick Harris. Doogie. Where are you going to do? Where did you watch the Oscars? I am hanging super low-key, potlucking at Jeff Probst. That's hard to say altogether. Well, who wasn't? What? Who wasn't potlucking at Jeff Probst? What? What? Yeah, Eddie. What he's saying, what Doug is saying, Doug is saying that Jeff Probst had a potluck party.
For the Oscars. Just bring your own dish. So here's Neil Patrick Harris arriving with his boyfriend with some sort of a casserole. Delicious. Banana casserole. You might want to just pop that in the oven just for like five, ten minutes at 350. What I want to know is what was he supposed to bring? Because his name... Started with a P or an H. That's a legitimate question. Because if it was a P, it was a salad. If it was an H, it was an appetizer. Which one do you do? That's right. You better learn this stuff. I don't know what that is. You don't know etiquette? I hope Nancy O'Dell has details on this. I do, too. This is the scoop I want to know. I want to know who was there, who brought what, how it went down. Speaking of Nancy O'Dell, she's going to be on the show. Well, she better know. I want to ask her about her awkward interview with Penelope Cruz, right? Yes. Penelope Cruz. Do you have a speech prepared just in case? Well, of course. You have to prepare a speech just in case. Is it in here? No, no, it's not in here. My mother has to. Did you have your... Did you have your...
Did you have your good luck pancakes this morning? Nancy. No. No. I forgot. Oh, no. But we had many other good luck rituals. What about your good luck tortillas? Did you have your good luck tortillas ready? Did you have your good luck refried beans? Yeah. She's going to be on. Hey, I don't think that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dig Ryan Seacrest. Like, I think they don't like them. Yeah, well, we remember what happened at the Golden Globes. Well, maybe you don't remember, but at the Golden Globes, basically, Seacrest totally got blown off by them. He's like snubbed. Yeah, he's so yelling at them, trying to chase them down, and they won't, you know, turn or acknowledge him. Well, he tried again on the red carpet at the Oscars. He tried his darkness. Oh, my. And, you know, the rumor about why, you know, they didn't stop was because he kind of bad mouthed Angelina Jolie once about how she was kind of like cold and snobby in an interview. Right. So on the red carpet, Angelina did not stop. She kept going. Brad Pitt stopped and talked to him probably for about 15 seconds and then took off. But Angie just kept on going. She's not down. No, she's not down with the crest. I just wonder what it would be like to.
live that life of those movie stars, man. I don't know if you saw any of this last night, if you watched any of the Oscars last night, as you're listening in your car, you check it out, but it's a whole different reality than what we got. Oh, please. Man, if the economy's suffering, I don't see it when I'm watching the Oscars. No way. I mean, it looks like life is good. Yeah. You know? So, who'd you guys think was the best dressed? Oh, my gosh. Who'd you guys like? Who'd you hate? Did you guys see Miley Cyrus? Did you see what she was wearing? No. What was she wearing? Dude, she was wearing this crazy dress. Like sexy crazy? Um, I mean. No, it was like. Bedazzled. Yeah. Even here, like, sexy and miley. Yeah, it was bedazzled to the hilt. But it kind of was. I mean, it was very, you know, feminine, very, you know, tight-fitting up top. And then it was like Disney princess on the bottom with, like, these kind of scalloped layers and, like, every layer is bedazzled. I don't know. Because I saw her in the, like, ten minutes. I watched the red carpet thing. So did I. And they were like, oh, so who would you like to meet tonight? And she's like, I'm a huge Brangelina fan. You know, Angelina's the best person on the planet.
earth and i would just love to meet her sky sky is 32 right sky uh 31 31 sky's 31 years old sky's in her 30s i'm a 38 year old man and i don't know if you're listening right now i don't know what age group you fall into but as a 38 year old man i i have a hard time listening to how old is miley 15 16 somewhere in there oh no yeah she just had her Oh, that's right. My wife is pregnant with twins. Eddie's wife is pregnant. We don't know the sex of the babies in either of our cases. We don't know. But if we get daughters, 15 years old is going to be tough for me. Because when Miley talks, I'm annoyed. I'm just being a sweet girl and everything. She's not a sweet girl. I think she's sweet. I don't think so. I don't think so at all. Yeah, she's got stuff going on. Well, see, I think it's typical 15-year-old stuff. I don't know about that. With Miley, to me, it's a product of her environment. Maybe it's the celebrity 15-year-old. You could never see parents around when she's taking pictures with people doing Chinese eyes and kids holding wine glasses.
But don't get me wrong, Mike. I see what you're saying. You're going to be annoyed. Yeah. Because at 15 is, at least speaking from experience, it's all about you. It's all about you and what Johnny said and what Susie wore and blah, blah, blah. And I could talk nonstop at the dinner table about stuff that I'm sure my family could give two risks about. Well, there's that element. And then every parent that's listening right now that has a 15-year-old daughter, there's also the element of, I don't know what you're talking about. Like, you're talking about people and... places and things that I don't know. Like references at 15, they just bounce out of your head. And we know it all because we're speaking like we know everything. You're so dumb, dad. So 15, that's a tough one, man. And it's probably the same with dudes. I mean, I was probably a pain in the butt. Nah, we're much easier. Well, in different ways. Right? Different, right? Different. Not like that. Different but better. Different but superior. That's not the slogan. Different but superior, I think, is the slogan. It is not. I think that's how it goes. It is definitely not. Okay. Let's do this. Real quickly. Time out. And what is up with a suspicious powder that they found yesterday morning at a ticket booth at Disneyland? For real. No wonder he's so goofy. Okay. Nancy O'Dell's next, too. Michael.

When your car has an issue with the brakes or the transmission or the tune-ups or maybe you just need a simple oil change, take it to the place that I personally went into and talk to people that said that they've been going to Amco for years and years and years. One guy I talked to had been going in there for 15 years. And the reason is because they trust Amco and they know Amco is always going to do a good job for them. It's easy to remember. It's Amco. They're double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. Is Progressive.com an auto insurance utopia? Well, what else would you call a place that can save you hundreds when you switch? Same show? Access Hollywood? Yeah, Billy and I didn't get along. Well, you know, I felt I was asking him what were very fair questions. And he was eating cereal. He wanted you to take a breath. And he asked me to take a breath. And I think he was a little offended by the questions.
At the time, it was Lindsay Lohan that was in the news. Yeah. And she had text messaged Billy and we just were asking questions about that and he didn't want to answer. No. Which didn't make much sense for what he does. For a living. Yeah. His job. The reason we were interviewing him. But if it were somebody he wasn't friends with, he has no problems talking about it. Yes. Anyway. Anyway. Anyhoot. Yeah, so hopefully this goes better. Yes. Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood will be on with us in just a second. Nancy O'Dell talked to Penelope Cruz last night. Do you have a speech prepared just in case? Well, of course, you have to prepare a speech just in case. Is it in here? No, no, it's not in here. My mother has to. Did you have your good luck pancakes this morning for breakfast? No. No? I forgot.
But we had many other good luck rituals. Do not ask me such stupid questions as this. This is the stupidest question. What goes through Nancy's mind when she says no? Okay, well then. Thank you. Did you know that she's going to be on Dancing with the Stars? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I think she's going to do good. Yeah, I agree. You guys think that she has moves? I think so. I think she's going to learn. She's going to adapt really well. She's going to look good in them little outfits, too. Oh, yeah, she's one hot little lady. I am very close to making the decision to watch Dancing with the Stars this season. I do not believe you for a second. That is foolish. I'm close to the decision. Yeah, you're close to thinking about maybe making a decision. You may want to do it just for the Steve-O factor. Yeah, that's a great call. That, to me, is going to be fantastic. Train wreck. Nancy O'Dell is on the line. Hello, Nancy. Hello. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm good. We have a little bit of a strange echo. Yeah, you sound kind of far. I don't know if that's us or if that's on your end. That's really weird. Nancy, can you hear me? Barely. Is there a way for us to try to get connected one more time? Maybe we hang up and try to get connected one more time because we've got this weird sound here. Yeah. I'll call you guys. We'll call you back. Nancy, you just stay on the line. Okay.
Okay, perfect. Okay, we'll show you right back. Thank you. Thanks. That's cool. That was weird. That was the handler. Yeah, you couldn't do an interview like that. That would not. It sounds weird. Yeah. Well, she was on the red card. A couple reasons I want to talk to Nancy. A, she found the Fountain of Youth and apparently gulped it all up. Oh, lucky. She's a real good looking lady. She's gorgeous. She doesn't age. She doesn't. No. And she was on the red carpet last night at the Academy Awards. So she gets to be eyes that I don't have that are there. And I want to ask a ton of questions. I wonder if she was able to talk to Angelina and Brad. That's a great question. That's a great question. And I also want to talk to her about Dancing with the Stars. Nancy, maybe this is better. I think that sounds better, doesn't it? Much better. Here we go. Much, much better. Well, Nancy, you were on the red carpet last night. I was. I stopped it now. Yeah, yeah. You had a very cool perspective. And we were wondering, because, you know, Brangelina, they were very evasive last night. And I wondered if you got to talk to them. You know, I didn't talk to them. We did at Access. I can't remember which position. But at the arrivals, they didn't do arrivals press.
And they didn't come to the governor's wall after, which are the two things that I did. So I didn't talk to them personally. But they've been pretty good about doing press lately. So I don't know why they decided not to do so much last night. When you've talked to them before, how do you find them particularly off camera? What are they like? Very nice. Very, very nice. Angelina especially. I mean, because I've been working for Access for 13 years. And in the beginning, it was... the interviews with her were not as great as they are now. She was a little more invasive and a little more different. You know, now she's so much more down to earth. Did she try to adopt you? Yeah. Did she try to adopt you? You never know. So Nancy, okay, you got to be there. So I want you to be my eyes, my ears, even my nose. Who smelled? great last night. You know, I didn't really go around smelling them that well, but, um, hmm. Can you remember anybody that said they walked up to you, an actress that walked up to you and went, oh, you smell really great. You smell really, let me see, let me think about that for a minute. I say Amy Adams. I bet you're right. I was getting ready to say Amy Adams. Weird. How about that? What's up?
She exudes that she would smell good. Like fresh, like strawberries. Yes. I had my family over last night, and we're watching the red carpet, and my mother says, when they show Amy Adams, I say, oh, she's really pretty. And my mom goes, really delicate, isn't she, Mike? And you all went, I bet she smells good. Yeah, absolutely. But she did smell good. She is delicate is a good word for her. That's why I think she looks like she would smell good. Is there anybody that you see coming down that red carpet towards you and you get real excited because you know they're a good interview? Yeah. I mean, always when there's like a George Clooney or Julia Roberts or somebody like Tom Hanks that you know none of them were there last night. But people like that you know you love when they're coming down the red carpet because no matter what you ask them, even if it's a question, that maybe they don't want to give you the direct answer to, they will always give you something that is usable because they turned it into something fun. Did you see anybody coming last night? Nancy, did you see anybody coming last night that made you nervous? No, not last night. There weren't any bad ones last night. I was so excited last night about the cutest, oh my gosh, ever. Who?
slum dog kids. And I'm talking about the kids, you know, not the ones that play the kids in the beginning of the movie. Yeah. Cutest things ever. I bet. And they're all happy to be there and everything. That's cool. They are just so sweet and so precious and full of energy. And they were so cute last night. I saw them at the governor's wall. Did you try to interview them like Seacrest and realize that they don't speak English? No, no, they do speak English. Well, one of them didn't or something. Yeah, some of them didn't. We were playing a clip of Seacrest this morning, and a few of them didn't speak English. Oh, yeah. He was trying to interview them. Out of about six of them, maybe one or two don't speak English. But there's four that speak, you know, very fluent English. And they were so cute, so starstruck last night. They came with me at the Oscars ball, and they were showing me their autograph books. They've gotten everybody's autographs. We're talking to Nancy O'Dell. Nancy O'Dell was on the red carpet last night at the Oscars. And, by the way, happy early birthday. Your birthday's Wednesday. Oh, thank you. Aw. 21st. I'll be dancing and rehearsing. I don't know how much of a celebration I'll get to have. Aw. See, you gotta win them. She's gonna be on Dancing with the Stars. And you gotta win them over, you know, because you know, Nancy, that this, the whole, it's a popularity contest, too, you know. You gotta be able to dance, too. Yeah, you gotta dance, but, you know. Both.
How are you going to win? And hopefully you guys will start a voting campaign for me. Yeah. Of course. I think you're going to do good. Yeah. Who's your partner, Nancy? Tony Dovalani. Oh, very cool. Tony's good. He's good stuff. You nervous? Really good. Are you nervous, Nancy? I'm like, bless your heart for having to teach me to dance. Talk to me about your nerves. Are you scared? Oh, that would be the understatement of the year. No, seriously, after I said yes, because I couldn't decide for so long, I was like, no, no, there's too much pressure, too much pressure, too much time. It's crazy. And after I finally said yes or got talked into by everybody because it is my favorite show. There's some people I think you can... It's my favorite show, so I finally said yes. I swear to you, for the first three days after I said yes... My stomach was in such knots. I lost six pounds just from the stress. Oh, wow. I kept getting on the scale. I'm like, oh, my God. Stress is good sometimes. There you go. How do you think Steve-O is going to do? You know, I think he'll do well. You do not. Nancy. You don't. Just think about it. He gets put all this stunts, and he's not afraid of getting hurt. Come on. Yeah.
He's going to be a goofball. He'll probably do kind of flips and turns and twists and stuff. He's like, I'm not worried about getting hurt. Look at what I do. Nancy O'Dell can be seen on Access Hollywood with our good friend Billy Mosh. And let's see. And she's also going to be on Dancing with the Stars. She's got a new book coming out in April about motherhood. And you're delightful. You're delightful, Nancy O'Dell. It's good to talk to you guys. Happy early birthday. Thank you so much. We'll talk to you later. Have a great day. Bye. It's Nancy Adele. She seems like a nice person. And, you know, we didn't have to hang up on her like we did with Billy Bush when we talked to Billy Bush. I think that went a lot better. Oh, I didn't get to the powder. I didn't get to the powder. The powder that they found at Disneyland yesterday. What is up? With that suspicious powder that they found yesterday morning at the booths, the ticket booths at Disneyland. I'll tell you that when we come back. And also when we come back, there's a new study about Facebook with some pretty negative results about stuff. Uh-oh. I'll tell you about that next. We're listening to the Mikey Show. How dare you all attack him like this? Mikey. Michael is your superior. You should be bowing down in front of him. This is Rock 105.3. Cock-a-doodle-doo.

See, I'm single now. I've been divorced for two years. Yeah. And my nuts are on fire. Okay. I don't think that. Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3.
This is good. This is New Papa Roach. It's called Lifeline. It is 8-11, and before we went to break, we were talking about this weird powder they found at Disneyland at one of the booths, right, Skye? Yeah. A little Bogotan booger sugar? No. That was weird. Probably a different kind. That is weird. Tinkerbell's fairy dust. So this was yesterday morning. They shut down the ticket booths. They had initially opened the park, opened the ticket booths, let people in at 8 a.m. when it opens, and then they noticed that there was this... powder stuck, like, all over the booths and all over the windows. And then they talked to somebody about them, and then it kind of freaked them out, so they shut down the ticket booths. Right. So, first thought, the people who got in at 8 a.m. were stoked. Right. Because they had the whole park to themselves. Oh, nice. That's just how I think. And so, anyway. I mean, you have anthrax, but, you know, hey. But, hey. Enjoy. What a way to go out. Yeah. Magic Mountain. Please. Small World. Oh, wait. Hello. I mean, out of all the things, you're going to pick Small World? Oh.
No, I meant... Yeah, what did you mean, Eddie? For, like, my niece. Okay, right. You know? Wow. Right, right. I'd be on the Matterhorn. I'd be on the Matterhorn. Much more guy riding. I'm sure. So, and about, like, two hours later, they finally determined that the substance was a fine-grained sand. And didn't really pose a problem. What was it doing there? I don't know. So they're still doing like an investigation. Because of you guys. I was searching on Apple TV this weekend. Looking at all the Disney movies. And watching like the previews and everything. Did you watch the best one? I didn't watch. I didn't watch them. I was thinking about it. I'm still considering. You know, but I know you guys. You're not going to watch any of them. No, you're not. That is true. That is true. Come on. That is true. We know you. But I did look at them. I looked at the previews of them. Well, that still means nothing. So nothing's wrong. Well, they're investigating to try and find out where this came from, but they don't think it's, you know, hazardous or anything. I'm sure it came from Aladdin. Yeah, it was. He's right. Yeah. Magic. All right, Skye, tell us about the new Facebook. Well, this is interesting, guys. Yeah, boom.
This is fascinating. Report on it. Who could have seen this? What? Well, a doctor has done a study and says that... What a doctor. Dr. Seuss. Yeah. Dr. Pepper. Yeah, right. Dr. Tush. Yeah. Whatever. Dr. Tush. Wow. Thank you. So that being on Facebook can cause you some serious health problems. Really? Okay. Because it reduces your levels of face-to-face contact. Oh, yeah. You suck at life. Yep. Whatever. It should improve. You're not catching colds and stuff. Exactly. It says rather than meeting up with people, you know, you're doing everything on the computer, which could have a wide range of biological effects. It says it increases isolation that could alter the way that your genes work. upset your immune responses, upset your hormone levels, and the function of your arteries. It can also impair your mental performance.
This could increase risk of problems as serious as cancer, stroke, heart disease, and dementia. Stop, because it's creeping me out. Thank you very much. Whatever. Probably if you spend like 20 hours a day on it, then it would do that. If you spend 20 hours a day on any site, it'll probably be that to you. That's what I'm trying to say. Hey, listen, we had Nancy O'Dell. on just a few minutes of reporting about what happened at the Oscars. She was good, but I think we have a little something a little bit better. Oh, we've got better? Yeah. We are the special correspondents. You are. Yeah, we did. We were about there at the Oscar last night. Oh, I didn't see you guys there. Yeah, you weren't looking close enough. Tattoo is short. You got to look down. Oh, okay. He's a mid-jack. That's right, but I'm a mid-jack. You are a mid-jack. I'm a mid-jack. Yes, yes. Hey, but. Yes, Tattoo. I thought you were nominated this year. What happened?
No, you are confused, my little peanut. That was Mickey Rorica. Not Mr. Rorica. Oh, it's Mickey Rorica. Yes, yes. Not Mr. Rorica. You got it. Yes. Hey, boss. Yes. Did you get, did he get nominated, I'm talking about Mickey Rorica now. Yes. Did he get nominated for diner? No, you pea brains. This is 2009. He was for the rest alive. Oh, okay. Sorry, boss. Tattoo. Yes, boss. When we were on the red car part. Yeah? Did you have to ask Sean Penn if he used method acting in milk? No, was he? He looked too comfortable in that room. I see what you're saying. He did. Something was telling me he was using Froot Loops in his milk. Milk? If you know what I'm saying. I don't know what you're saying, actually. I think he was using Froot Loops in his milk. All right. If you get what I mean. Tattoo. Yeah. What do you mean? Sorry about that, boss. Yes, tattoo. Hey, boss. Yes, tattoo.
I think he prefers Fruity Pebbles to Wheaties. I beg your pardon? Okay. We get it. I think he's gay. We get it. You're probably right. No, I'm gay. He's very right. You know, Tattoo, last night brought back a lot of great memories for me. Yeah, boss. Old Hollywood, yes. Yes, it did. Do you mean like when you were nominated for Best Actress in 1991 for your role? as Joan Crawford in Mommy Darius? No, Tattoo. You are confusing me with Faye Dunaway. Oh. Buzz, what about when you were nominated for Best Actress last year for your role as Dr. Margaret Campbell in Grey's Anatomy? No, Tattoo. Again, Faye Dunaway. Sorry about that, Buzz. Weird. That is weird, Tattoo. What about Chinatown? Tattoo, these are all... rules played by Faye Adonoway. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's fine, Tattoo. By the way, are you still mad at me? Yes, but I'm kind of mad because you ruined my one shot at meeting Miley Cyrus. No, Tattoo, I was helping you. I thought that you would have had a better shot with her if you said that you were one of the kids from Slumdog Millionaire.
You owe me an apology for that one, boss, and for your behavior at the after party. What do you mean, Tattoo? You used me as a prop to meet girls. I have no clue what you are referring to, Tattoo. Oh, really? Yes. You don't remember shaving my head and spray painting me gold and then going up to the winning actress and saying, excuse me, I think you may have dropped me. That's your girl. Kate Winslet would appreciate that. She did not. I'm sorry, Tattoo. I didn't like it. It worked out. I have now made out with Cheryl and Judi Dench. Judi Dench? Yes, she loved it. Hey, Bob. Yes? Did you know that they originally wanted to cast me to play Wall-E? Wow! That is impressive. Thank you, Bob. Did you know they originally cast me to be... The wrestler. No, I didn't. But I had to say no for two reasons. Why, Buzz? Here we go. One, I cannot walk. That's a good point. Spinal beefy. Yes, he does. We all know that. Of course, I am no longer alive. Oh, wait a second. Valid. Valid. Okay, you have a point there. By the way, Tattoo, Sean Penn's acting was so wonderful this year. Yes, Buzz, it was. It was a shame that Brad Pitt...

Rock 105.3, drafted to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. All right, the ride is improving as its commute winds down here. Still going to find a tough one, though, out of Escondido in the South 15. That's still pretty heavy from the 78s down to Via Rancho Parkway. This coaster ride still will struggle as well on South 5 out of La Costa. Slow down this is a lot of beach. Looking pretty good, though, out of the east county. As you travel westbound on the 8, you're good to go through La Mesa. But it does get you right around the 15 and past the queue here in Mission Valley. Then again through Hotel Circle. The 805 and 5 northbound also looking much better out of the south as you travel northbound.
The 805 does get kind of tough, though, coming into North Park. And then some slow traffic again out of Kearney Mesa over the 52. Down with Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Now, with what's up in your world, this is The Mikey Show 360. What's the big thing right now? What are people talking about? One of the things is the Oscars. Of course, we've been playing audio from the Oscars all morning long. But one of the other things that people are talking about is Conan O'Brien leaving late night. And John Mayer recorded a little message for him. This is a song I've written for Conan about his transition to The Tonight Show.
It's called, L.A.'s Going to Eat You Alive. He has a man. Good luck, loser. Good luck, loser. That's awesome. Yeah, so I guess for Conan's last night, you heard John Mayer, also Will Ferrell. Will Ferrell? Yeah. Oh, dude, this is great. You want to hear it? Yes. Pick it up. Good evening, Mr. President. Thanks for being here. How are you doing there, Conan? Okay, well, I'm doing great. It's so nice of you to stop by tonight. It's great. Weird? Yeah. What? That was a weird thing to do. Not weird for me. Yeah, all right. Whatever. What did he do? He slapped him on the butt. Nice hustle. Aw, thank you for being here. Yeah, I was in the neighborhood. I just stopped by the Virgin Megastore to pick up the Larry the Cable Guy movie, Witless Protection. Okay, whatever. I hear that's one of the better Larry the Cable Guy movies. Yeah, it's the best movie ever made. Okay, whatever.
I also want to personally thank you, Conan, for 16 years of humor-tastical wonderment and stupid-distical giggle-osity. Been my pleasure, sir. I'm glad you liked the show. Liked it? I loved it. I loved it, Conebone. Conebone. Conebone. Conebone's a little nickname I got for you. I give nicknames to all my favorite showbiz people. All right, well, did you ever give one to Will Ferrell? Hell no, that guy's an ass. There he is, President Bush. That's great. And I guess the White Stripes performed, and it was their first time performing together since 2007, so that was pretty spectacular for all their fans. Eddie's really thrilled. It's really the worst song ever, though. What'd they play? I couldn't tell you. Yeah, you know what it was? It was both of them on guitars, and it was very hillbilly rock, like backwoods blowing on a jug with triple X on it. Nice. Cool. Freaking weird. Hey, dude, Eddie felt.
The baby kick for the first time in his wife's belly. Oh, my gosh. Did you freak out? Yeah, I kind of did. Because, you know, all I've ever heard is, you know, it takes a while for that to happen. And this was the first time that I attempted to touch it. Yeah, because, you know, I mean, she's only five months. So it's not like the baby, she can feel it, you know, kick a lot. But when we were landing, we were up to see my family up in the Bay Area this weekend. There's a whole other story that I've got to ask you about. We were landing, and she was like, whoa. She goes, feel it right here, feel it right here. And I felt a kick. It was a trip. Was it like a little kick or a soccer kick? It was a good kick. It wasn't like... Like a Cyphers? Like a Mike Cyphers? Yes, yes. Nice. So that was cool, yeah. That's crazy. So, dude, tell us about your cousin Jay this weekend. Well, my cousin Jay was... getting his in-laws place ready. They were having a birthday party for his one-year-old and they have like this fire pit, I guess that they don't use, but it's in the backyard and you know, it's like this giant fire pit and he, uh, it's like gas, uh, gas powered. And so he went to go light it and it blew up.
And it engulfed him in flames. Holy cow. Okay, wait a second. Because you're laughing. Well, he's okay. What happened? It literally, like, went whoosh. You know, flame went all the way over him. And he, you know, he got first-degree burns. And, you know, he went to the ER, and they told him he had first-degree burns. He called me. He goes, yeah, all I can think of is Sky right now. That's real funny, Jake. That's hilarious. That's hilarious. Sky had second-degree burns. I'm very concerned about you, Jay, and you're making jokes. And you're making jokes. Which I thought was awesome. So, dude, how did this happen? They don't know. They think it was just like... Just a buildup of gas. Buildup of gas. I've had that. No, Mike, that's different. That's a different kind of gas. It was a trip, though, man, because his face was all red, and it singed his eyebrows and eyelashes and his hair. It was crazy. Ouch. Just continued to make jokes about him the entire weekend. So, did he miss the party? No. He was fine. Okay. Sounds pretty serious. You know what to do, Sky. I didn't even know it's called Kaiser. I knew exactly what to do. We're all so funny. Don't worry. Oh, by the way, Sky...
went to that pizza party in her neighborhood. Oh, you've got to be kidding. You know she didn't do anything. She didn't do anything. She doesn't leave the house. She doesn't meet the neighbors. She doesn't do anything. And she did. You went to a pizza party. Yes. Saturday night. What was it for? Why were they having a pizza party? Well, we live in a newer neighborhood. Of course you do. And so since, you know, the way the market's been, construction has been really, really slow. And so now we actually have a decent amount of people living on the street. And so, you know, they decided it'd be nice to have a little mixer and get together and everybody. You know, a decent brand of people, Mike. Yes. Yes. Exactly. White people. That is not true. That's what I'm talking about. We have a nice mix of races on our streets. No, granted, there's no one to clean the moat anymore. There's no moat. Bye. No one has a moat. Anyway, it was a castle party. So there's this pizza party. And, you know, I kind of talked on Friday about how I'm kind of weird about, you know, telling people what I do for a living. So I think they're going to, like, judge me and think I'm weird or whatever. And so I got up the courage. I'm not going to lie. There was a glass of wine involved prior to leaving the house. I'm nervous around people. Can you imagine somebody that needs to have a glass of wine?
To chill out enough to meet her neighbors. That is so odd. Like calming herself. It's going to be okay. You can do this. You can do it. Hello. I had one glass of white wine, and as we're walking over to the house, I'm like, oh, my gosh, what if I reek like alcohol? It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Oh, my. She is something else. So we go. Am I slurring right now? Stop it. So we go. Glug, glug, glug. I have one glass. It's really nice to meet you. It's a wonderful party. Where's the wine? Dude, there was no alcohol. Oh, what's the point of that? Thank you. Bye-bye. There better be ham on that pizza. I'm out of here. Oh, no. Just because you look at the ground doesn't mean I don't hear you or see you. Yes, she can still see you, Eddie, even though you're looking at the ground. Ham flavor all the way from tip to prawn. Oh, yeah, baby. Yeah, so we all got to wear little name tags and meet everybody, and it became very clear to me that...
The word is already out about me working in radio because everybody, when they marry me. No, that's not what I'm saying. That's not what I'm saying. Listen, let's just make a rule now. Single file line. Have your shot be ready. Have your cameras out. One question. No, that is not what I'm saying. I'm just saying the people I've never met before. Hey, you, Blue House, get out of here. I don't like your yard. Just people I'd never met before kept coming up to me and saying, oh, so you're the radio. girl. And I was like, ah, yes. Pretending you don't know who I am. Just turn around and let me sign your t-shirt. No one signed anything, you dummies. I'll sign your baby. So, yeah, but the boo and I kind of, well, at least I can't speak for him, but for me, kind of felt out of place because our neighborhood is made up of retired people or people. Like you? Yes. Basically. You should fit right in. Or people with young children. Yeah. And we are in neither of those groups. You are in the retired group. We did gravitate to the retired group. Oh, my.
Talk to gardening and, you know, what have you. Get there early, though. Senior yoga. Get there early. Senior Pilates. Senior Pilates. She takes that at the Senior Center. It's a community center, Mike. Community of old people. Senior classmates. Whatever. So it was nice. Oh, look, boo, there's the teacher. Edna. Hello, Edna. Edna! Yes, dear? Hey, can you hear me, Edna? You gotta speak up now. I say it's wonderful to see you here. Yes, my favorite color is blue. So I'm glad I got to meet all the neighbors. Well, look at you. I'm very proud of myself. I think I did well. Oh, my God. You got out of the house. I am. Stop it. She got out of the house. Big deal for me. You're a mess. You're a mess.
Rob did stand-up this weekend. What? Yeah. What? Whoa. Yeah, he did. A big apartment. Boston Rob did stand-up. Doesn't tell the friends. I know it. I told you I would come to all your shows. He was too nervous probably. Yeah, yeah. And this wasn't really like a show show. It was in an alley. It's for my brothers in the living room. What was it? No, down at the dirt bag shop. Okay. I guess they. That's a clothing shop, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they redid the entire inside. You know what I mean? So it used to look like a clothing shop, but now everything can fold away, and they built a stage. It's like a little stage. Yeah, yeah. Stage for rock bands? Mm-hmm. Yeah. They have all, you know, because they sell a guitar. They're like a licensed guitar dealer. They're like, no, MMA. They have an octagon. Oh, that would be awesome. No, no. So they set up, you know, they got all the stacks, all the amps, everything. Yeah. You remember Steve-O? He was in the band Rev. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Different Steve-O. Different Steve-O. Different Steve-O. Friend of his from a local band called Rev. Yeah, yeah. Well, that band broke up, and now he's in a band called Lead Burns Red. Yeah, I'm sorry. All right. You were the manager. I know. I should have known about this. Shouldn't you know that? I just booked them. You're still booking them for dirt bags. Uh-oh.
So he asked me if I come down in between bands, and I did about 10, 15 minutes. Wow. I tried to run down some new stuff, and I mean, I was writing it on the way down there. It went over real well, though. Did it? Yeah, I was shocked. And there were people there and stuff? Like 40. Really? I was, yeah. It was crazy. That's cool. Did you feel your bands a little bit? Yeah. No, except for a little bit. Wow. Look at you, dude. That's cool, Rob. Getting up there, doing the deal. Did somebody film it? Yeah, but I got to get in touch. Like, I don't know the dude's phone number or email or anything who filmed it. But I think I might have some news about me and Craig Gass. What? I'm going to call him today. What? Because he's coming. He's on the West Coast, man. Is he already here? Yeah, he's up in L.A. He said he's coming down. When did he get here? Two weeks ago? No, he did not. Did he really? He drove across the country. I was talking to him. And he was driving across the country from New York to L.A. And he was staying in L.A. When? This was like right before I did my comedy showdown thing. Really? Yeah. He was driving across the country. I thought Friday we talked to him. I thought I could have sworn he said he had an appointment in Queens on Friday to try to get out of a parking ticket. In Queens on Friday.
Maybe it was Queens, Texas. He's going to be in San Diego tomorrow. He's coming down here to finalize something. Are you serious? I'm going to call him today and he wants me to open for him in March. That would be awesome. It's supposed to be a pretty big show. He wants it to be on the 21st, but I guess everything is going to be finalized tomorrow. I'm going to meet up with him and we're going to set up a show. I'm going to have him... Go over, because I've just been writing, man, just been writing, just been writing. So I got a solid, you know, another two pages, which I would say is another 10, 15 minutes. I'm just going to have him go over everything with me. You go, boy. Oh, I bet that sounds like fun. Yeah. That would be a great show. Yeah, Craig Gass and Rob. Yeah, and a couple more comics. He hasn't told me who else, but. Yeah, they got white wine there? Of course, Sky. I'm just making sure. Speaking of, text Mikey at gmail.com. This text says, tell Sky she's not alone. I get anxious about meeting new people. Thank you. Good for her. How did you go out? Thank you. I'm very nervous. I do too. Sky gets anxious going to get the mail. That's true. You may run into someone. She's ridiculous. You don't know. It's hard for me to meet new people. Yeah.
It's weird, you know. I love it. You do? You don't have a hard time walking upstairs in your own building. That is true. Sky won't even walk upstairs. Well, sometimes I'd like an escort. I'm just saying to help break the ice. But it's not ice. Sky's not up there very often, right, Sky? So when you go upstairs here in the building, it gets a little intimidating. Well, people may want to talk, and I don't know what to say. But respond. Well. I don't know. Skye is an interesting girl. I don't want people to judge me. I'm normal. What do you mean? I'm a nice, normal girl. That is not true, first of all. That is true. Skye, Skye, I don't understand this. Like, see, she said the same thing about her neighbors. She felt they were going to judge her. Judge her on what? On who she is on the air? Yes. I feel people have this preconceived notion. But aren't you drunk that's showing up to the pizza party? Isn't who you are on the air, isn't that you? That's me on the inside. But how many people, like, when you interact with new people, you don't give them 100% of you on the inside. Like, you ease into it. Only, like, your best friends get 100% of you on the inside. Do you know what I mean? I think I know what you're saying. Are you saying this? Yes. Yes, Mike, I am. Okay. What am I saying? I think what you're saying is that you're very hyper-opinionated on the air.
Yeah, because you guys are my friends because I know no matter what I bash you over the head with, you're still going to love me. And it is uncomfortable sometimes when you meet new people and they instantly want to go for the hot topics with you. Yeah. And you just want to ease into it a little bit. It's like you're my neighbor. I don't want to offend you. I don't want to talk about politics with you right now. Let's get to know each other first. You upset them. You never have to see them again. Well, I'd like to see people and I'd like to be friendly and I'd like to wave and be like, hi, you know, and I think people and also, you know, as far as like going upstairs, I think like here in the building here in the building. Like, I don't know. I'm weirded out because people, I think, have this preconceived notion of me. What's the preconceived notion? That I'm a beating, that I'm over-opinionated, that I'm very political. And, you know, people want to give me crap, like, right away. But, Skye, you are very political. But on the inside. But, Skye, you have hot-button opinions. On the inside. No, they're not on the inside. I only share with my best friends.
You do not. You share it on the air every day. Wait, we're on the radio? This can be heard? Who's hearing this? You know what I mean? If you can hear me, help. But if I'm going to go to a dinner party... If you're listening right now, raise your hand. Yes. I don't see anybody. Like, I swear, like... In the past, especially when we first moved here, you guys had a lot of established friends already because you guys had lived in San Diego before. And I truly felt that they didn't like me. Like when I would meet them off the air, like Brian Williams, Wilson. Well, first of all, you have to know your name. That's why he was so excited. Mike Costa. Why would you think they wouldn't like you? Oh, because Skye's a beating. No one likes Skye. Skye ruins everybody's fun. Like, you know, so when we'd have a poker night. Okay, let's address this. It's like, why would, you know, why are you inviting Skye? Because nobody really likes her. Let's address. Let's address. These are my inner thoughts. First of all, Skye, when we very first started here, and for a while, there was this whole Skye's a beating thing. And I think that we used to play up certain situations, right?
of them but i said to sky i go i said i'm really a nice girl i go sky i said i and i don't know how long ago it was sky probably a couple years ago when i go i go sky just a hundred percent be you be you be you and to her credit the last couple of years she is true to her but her opinionated her opinions they're they're strong you know sometimes against the grain opinions i talked to this uh chick this weekend She said she started listening because of Sky because she said that she heard us on the air saying to Sky like, oh, she said that she tuned in one day and she heard somebody call and they were giving you the business on the phone. They were like lighting you up and you weren't backing down and you were like, you know, going back out. And she was like, who is this Sky? You know, she's judging me now. She wanted to know. See? What you were all about. If I ran into her in the grocery store, it would be awkward. But Skye, that's because you have these very strong opinions. But it's not like I'm spouting these things at dinner parties. First of all, when you did end up coming and meeting with Brian and Mike and all those people, they liked you. So why would you feel that way? Well, I know. I know. But like initially, like the first couple times we met, like I felt like they like.
They weren't sure about me. That it was like... That was the first time I've ever met you. Are we supposed to like her? I don't think we're supposed to like her. That's her opinion. Oh, I'm not saying that's true. I'm saying those are my weird... It's your inner thoughts. It's your inner thoughts. And it's not just them. I feel that way with a lot of people. That's why I want people to know me for me first before they listen to the show as far as my neighbors and stuff. See, this is what people that are listening don't know about Sky for the most part. People... And I told you, I told Skye, I want this to, like, come out more. Because we know it, but not very many people know it that listen. She's very funny. Like, Skye's really funny. And off the air makes us laugh very regularly. On the air, she'll sometimes not do as much of her, like, wacky humor. But she's funny, man. Like, laugh out loud funny. Laugh out loud. Laugh out loud. Laugh out loud. And I told her, I was like, Skye, you got to do, like, she'll say some stuff sometimes. Or I'm like, how come you don't say that on the air? And I think it's because you got into this mode where... She's afraid of people judging her for being herself. Thank you, Eddie. Nailed it on the head. That is the best. For being my inner self. People don't give 100% of their inner... Well, what's your outer self? My outer self is like what I present to people that I don't know. I'm kind of reserved. I'm kind of shy. I kind of...
Don't want to make waves. I don't want to cause conflict. But you're the exact opposite on the air. On the inside. On the inside. On the inside, she wants to start conflict. Yes. She's the queen of conflict. With people who can handle it and won't judge me for it, like you guys. I judge you constantly. You do not. Yes, I do. You love me regardless. You always love me regardless. But I do always love you regardless, but I'm constantly judging you. That is true. That's a fine line. Is there something wrong with that? My neighbors may not love me regardless. They may be like, that chick's psycho. I don't want to talk to her anymore. Well, see, I don't like it when people, and I don't think anybody would. If somebody comes up to you and the first thing that they want to do is be like, oh, really? So you're yes on eight, huh? Exactly. Then you're like, yeah, I am. And it's nice to meet you, too. It's kind of like someone reading your diary before they even meet you. That's how I feel. But you're reading your diary to thousands and thousands of people. I don't know what you're saying. It's true, but let's ease into the hotter topics. I agree with that. When that happens to me, I just joke about it. It affects guys. It affects me too. I'm okay with the P1s because I get it, but when it's neighbors and people that I know don't... I don't know. Do you feel judged by your neighbors? Chardonnay.
Eddie, do you feel judged by your neighbors? I don't know any of my neighbors. You don't? Uh-uh. What about you, Rob? Nah. I like all my neighbors. All my neighbors are awesome. Do you feel judged by your neighbors, Ash? No. Love my neighbors. Oh, God. You guys are great. Sky, you don't either as long as you have a little white wine. Yeah. As long as you get a little white wine. A little shrimp. Yeah. A little shrimp and white wine. You're good. You're good to go. Get your levels up. That's right. Don't let those shrimp and white wine levels drop too far. Yeah. Then forget it. Yep. You're in for it. Yeah. Okay, I'm weird. Fine. Yes, you are weird. Thank you. I do agree with that. That is true. It's okay. I can't. Let's see. What am I forgetting? What happened? I think we should send you upstairs with a microphone. No. Oh, man. No. Have you eaten people? No, I like to be in my safe level. And force her to introduce herself to people. Oh, no. I would die. Yeah. Hi, my name's Skye. What's your name? I would die. I would die. Hi, my name's Skye. What's happening? Skye, let's send you up there with a phone right now to meet people. No.
You want me to go up there with you and introduce you? Well, that defeats the purpose. That's true. If you do that, it's comfortable. Yes, I want you to introduce me. Go up there with a phone right now. Call right now. Here. No, Mike, it's so embarrassing. Come on, it's for ratings. I'm like turning red right now. For ratings. I can't. Eddie, you're the worst. Here. What am I supposed to do? This is her nightmare. It really is. This is her nightmare. And it has to be somebody that you don't know. You've never met before. Sky, here you go. Here's Sky. You guys suck. Oh, my God. All right. You're on. Hey, don't pull any shenanigans. I know you. Yeah, don't go to people you know. Don't go to Russell. And try to pass them off as people you don't know. Because we know you. Oh, this is... Can we have to go upstairs? Yep. You're going the wrong way. Yeah, why is she going that way? She's going the wrong way. She doesn't even know how to go upstairs. She's going the wrong way. I know. She doesn't even know how to get up there.
I'm going to go through the lobby. That's twice as long. The back door is right there. This is fantastic. This is fantastic to me. Dude, this is her nightmare. It's good for her. It really is. It's going to get her to introduce herself to people. My palms are sweating. This is so gross. She hates this. Somebody you don't know. Hi, Rebecca and Jake are here. Oh, they are? Yeah, look at this guy and his hair. Oh, my gosh. I think I should escort them back. Oh. Oh. I can go get them. Yeah, you go get them. You go get them. Yeah, she said that she was going to bring them sometime this week, but I didn't know it was today. Yeah, go get them, Rob. Okay, I have to go introduce myself to a stranger. I'll be right back. Yeah. My nightmare, Rebecca. My nightmare. This is fantastic. You should have gone up to Rebecca and been like.
Hi, I'm Skye. Hi, my name's Skye. What's your name? Hi, I'm Rebecca. Oh, I should have used Rebecca as my stranger. Dang it. Must be a stranger. Eddie, what would be worse, a man or a woman? Ooh. It would be tougher. Probably a man. A man? Okay. Hi, my name is Skye. Nice to meet you. Are you? Oh, wait, you're our intern kid. Damn it. Oh, man, Skye. Come on. Somebody that she's already met and she just acted like she didn't know him. And he's like, yeah, I've met you eight times. I get your coffee every morning. I'm your intern. What's his name, Sky? Shut up. He's like, I've been doing lawn work at your house the past two weekends. Go down the sales row for like KGB. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. KGB, okay. Let's see. I'm in here right now. I'm going to go down the KGB, Bales Row, and no one is here. You've got to find somebody. That's not nine yet. Of course. Excuse me. Oh, I know Kelly. Nope. You've got to find somebody else. Come on, Sky. Yeah. And tell them that this is an exercise to get you to introduce yourself. I work on the Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. I have a fear of meeting new people.
Um, so they've made me come up here awkwardly and introduce myself to someone I don't know. So, hi. Hi. It's nice to see you. Who is it? Who is it? What's her name? Her name's Katie, right? My name's Katie. Katie. She works for KGB on the sales staff. That's fantastic. And now... Good job. ...it's awkward and weird, and I apologize for making it awkward and weird. Hey, Bob. Ask her if she's got any Chardonnay. Come here. I actually already met one. Oh, son of a bitch. What? They've already met once. Oh, that's fantastic. We've actually already met once. My bub's in here. I'm coming down. I don't care. Sorry. Come on down, Skye. I know. I'm aborting a mission. The mission is... All right. We'll see you down here. You're the best. That's fantastic. Oh, my... I have my son standing on my lap. What's on? That one. Which one's on?
Who's over there in that room? Jakey. He doesn't know my name. Say hi, Ashley. I haven't seen him in so long. Hi, Jakey. Hey, dude. You look good, buddy. Can you say hi, Uncle Eddie? Hi, Uncle Eddie. Hi, buddy. It's Eddie. Yeah, it's me. Who's that? Who's that? Is that Rob? Uncle Rob. Uncle Rob. That's right. It's Uncle Rob. He looks good. What, Bubba? It's again. What's again? What again? Which one? Yeah, he means go to break. He's giving you the break sign, Mike. Give the break sign, Jake. Go like this. Daddy is a boy. Daddy is a boy. One, two, and a four. That is very good. He is so overloaded right now, like seeing cool stuff. Buddy, do this. Break sign. That's the break sign. Is that the break sign? Yeah. Give me a bubble. That's the break sign. That's the break sign. Can you say rock 105.3? I'll go. That's a pen. That is a pen. That's a highlighter. I think we got our new phone screener. That's right. Hey, Bubba. Hey, Bubba, let's get you to say all the stuff we've been wanting you to say. Can you say spaghet? No. That's the letter E. That is the letter E. That's right. You're learning all your letters, huh? Are you learning your letters? What letter is this? Look, Bubba, what letter is that? Oops. What letter is this?
Look, Bubba, what letter? Three. No, that's a number. What letter is this? Lincoln. That's an E. Okay, Bubba, we have to go to break, so you've got to say... Push the button. You have to say, we'll be right back. Daddy will be right back. It's Mikey on Rock 105.3. The new Mercedes-Benz is more than just a new car. I think what they did was they just got together and they said, what are all the things that people don't like about gyms? And we'll make it so that people absolutely love us. They're clean. They have those little antibacterial things on the wall so you can spray your hands, get your hands all cleaned up. They've got flat screen TVs. They've got great trainers. And talk to people that said that they've been going to AMCO for years and years and years. One guy I talked to had been going in there for 15 years. And the reason is because they trust AMCO and they know AMCO is always going to do a good job for them. It's easy to remember. It's AMCO. They're double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. And now, another reason to switch to GEICO. Every month we get lots of letters telling us how much folks like GEICO's claim service. And I quote, the adjuster assigned to my claim was incredible. He walked me through everything. Then there's this one. Geico.com is very useful and lets you track your claims. Why? Well, I guess I don't know if you guys could hear on the phone or not, but the person I finally introduced myself.
to and went through this whole embarrassing thing as I'm saying, I'm doing this to meet new people. It's an exercise for me. And she's like staring at me and shaking my hand and kind of I'm like, why is she staring at me? Blah, blah. At the very end, she told me, that's great, Sky. We've met before. Where did you meet her? Oh, no. I believe she may have been the sales rep for the Valley View poker tournament that we did. Was Chardonnay involved? I wish I could say it was. See, I am scarred for life. Like, seriously, I am never going upstairs again. Listen, Skye, you've got to take those experiences and turn them into a positive. First, I tried to introduce myself to our intern. You're the worst. I'm like, ooh, some new promotions kid I've never met before. That's fantastic. Let's see. You guys ruined it. Oh, no. Don't worry, Skye. You'll get back on the horse. No, I'm not. This has just confirmed the fact that I just need to stay in my house at all times. Text Mikey at gmail.com. This text says, hey, Mikey, since Jake is there, can you ask him if he can read the news? Now, that's ridiculous. Give me a break. I say please. Let me go home. Mikey, keep your boy on the air all day.
Seriously, he's a blast to listen to. That is P1 Texas Red. Mikey, your son sounds adorable. Do you or anyone else talk to him in Spanish? We do not. Yeah, I was wondering that too, no? We do not. No grandma, no grandpa? No, every once in a while my mom sings Amapola, that song, Amapola. I beg your pardon? Amapola. I make up the words. I don't even know what it is. Where did they go? Where did she go? I don't know. She probably took him out because he was yapping. Let's see. Yeah, text us. Textmikey at gmail.com. I want to go home. Get over it. I can't. I am like. This guy is good for you. Go meet somebody else. No, I am so embarrassed. That's what will turn it around. No, it will not. If you can meet somebody else and it goes well. So I can meet somebody else who I've already met and don't remember? Great. I'm such a jerk. It would go well and then you would feel better. You're a bad person. I am an awkward jerk. Well, you know what's good? Please save that clip. This is all your guys' fault. Wait a second. This is all your guys' fault. Sky, listen. You guys suck. This is the thing. The more you do it, the more you get used to it, the more comfortable you feel. It was the worst moment of my life.
Serious. So you have to keep doing it. No. Yeah. You do it. It's the only way you're going to get comfortable. No. Oh, I want to die right now. Like, I think I need to send her flowers. Oh, you are the stupid. Stop it. I'm serious. Will you stop it? How rude is that of me? I didn't remember. Very, but who cares? It was a radio bit. Skye, sometimes you forget. I do. You only met her one time. What are you supposed to do? Remember everybody? Come on. Yeah. You're a big time celebrity. Shut your mouth. Do you expect me to remember everyone? I mean, come on, lady. Please. What do you think this is? I've met you before. Really? What did I sign of yours? Did you do some work around the house? Do you work at the Brigantine? Paris Hilton and Mike Myers dominated the Razzie Awards. That's bad movie awards, right? Yeah, they do it right before the Oscars every year. Mike Myers, three awards. The Love Guru was named Worst Picture, and he also got... Thank you. Worst actor and worst screenplay. And then Paris Hilton also got three awards. She got worst actress for the hottie and the naughty. And then worst supporting actress for her role in Repo, the genetic opera. And then also worst screen couple. She does not make good choices when it comes to movies. I don't think anybody wants a cast. Yeah. Mikey, I sense a new bit. Sky Fear Factor. No. Oh, I love it. No way. Center into Costco and have them remove all the ham. Dude, we don't have that much time. I know. Take forever. That'd be great. Where's all the ham? Where is it? They're still digging. I dare you.
I really love ham. We know. Oh, my gosh. I want to die. Sky, think about that all day. Oh, please. I will. I will. I know you will. She's not gay. It was so awkward the way I was saying to her, like, oh, it's so nice to meet you. And she's staring at me, just staring at me. Just staring at me. Why did she let you go the whole time without saying, oh, we've already met? I bet she was remembering herself. She was like, have we met? Maybe we've met. Are you kidding me like you could forget me? She's a better person than Mike, obviously, because I am the worst. Hey, Sky. No. You know, we... Sky. Listen. Oh, I love it. You meet a lot of people. You see a lot of different faces. Sometimes it's hard to remember. Yeah, but you should know your coworkers, Mike. Eddie. She works for KGB. What? So she's not technically our co-worker. She is. She's in the building. Technically. Yeah, but you're just making it worse. I'm just saying. Oh, my God. What were you just saying? I just thought, you know, if they're important to you, usually you don't forget. Will you shut up? You're supposed to be my friend. I am. You're supposed to comfort me right now. Wow. Here, here. What does Jack do? There, there. He's comforting you. Oh, I want to vomit. This text message says.
Sky makes me laugh. Sky makes me laugh. Sky makes me laugh. Oh, I'm glad someone's laughing this morning because I am dying on the inside. They're enjoying it, Sky. A little bit of my soul has just died, okay? Is it that bad, Eddie? Is it that bad? I don't know if you know this, Mike, but Sky is a little bit of a drama mama. Oh, I know. I had to have a glass of wine to meet my neighbors, okay? And I just went up and embarrassed myself and introduced myself to someone who I've already met. That's awesome. Acting like I've never seen her before in my life. Why'd you do that? Shut up. All right, I got to see the boy before they leave because he never comes here. Oh, can you open the door? They never come here to the station. So I'm so happy to have Jake and Rebecca here. Yeah, I know. You notice my throat, my voice is gone again? Yes. Every day at 9 o'clock, man, I've been losing it. Go upstairs and meet people. Go meet that girl. We're going to meet upstairs.
Who are you going to meet? Hey, Bubba, how does Amapola go? No. You don't even want to think about it, Bubba? Nope. You don't want to think about it? Amapola? No. You're the best. What song do you want to sing? That one. Do you want to sing Amazing Grace? No. Do you want to sing Twinkle Twinkle? I want to go that one. Well, we're going to sing a song first. Yeah, go upstairs. She just trimmed the hair so it's all one length. It looks cool, right? It doesn't look as girly. Tell me it doesn't look as girly. No. Because when it was long, it was like, oh, man. I can't believe how long it is. Yeah, it's so long. It's like Sebastian Bach walked in. Seriously. Be honest, dude. Are you not digging it? I personally. See, neither do my parents, man. My parents are not in on the surfer. She's going for the surfer thing. No, it looks great. She needs to let it go even longer. Shave it off. Give him the buzz cut. Make him look like a little kid. A little marine, right? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Makes him look tougher.

Salt in the wound. Salt in the wound. Oh, I don't understand that joke, though. Let's see, Mike. I don't know if you remember this. I don't get it. The knee was on fire, okay? It was a tough time. Well, it had been going on for like seven hours. Five minutes that fire had been burned when she said, it's the first time I've laughed in days. Let's see. 300,000 people turned out to watch that bike race end in Escondido. Oh, yeah? That was a huge deal. Oh, I was so mad I missed it. 300,000. Right by my house, and I was like 30 seconds too late. Stop. Yeah. Where were you? Drinking wine.
Well, we were working out in the yard, and I was like, oh, well, when the helicopters get close, I'll go walk down the street. Right. And the helicopters got close, and they were gone. Oh. They were going fast on those bikes, man, like 50 miles an hour. Yes. The Honky Kong, too. Yes. Get that sucker up there. Do you need me help? Where are you, Lance? I was going to take a picture for my blog and everything. You blew it. I blew it. You would have had to meet him, and it would have been awkward. Well, no, I wouldn't meet him. He'd be flying by. Lance, can you stop for a second? Lance! I made a picture for my blog. Yeah, so they went from Rancho Bernardo to Valley Center, up Palomar Mountain, back to Valley Center, and then into Escondido, the finish line. Lance Armstrong came in seventh. Floyd Landis came in 23rd. That's right. That's right. Speaking of Paris Hilton, apparently Meredith Vieira refused to interview Paris Hilton back when she got arrested. Here's why. Because I just thought it was stupid, personally. Yes. You're better than us.
I was assigned, and everybody's fighting for all the networks want to hear what Paris has to say. And I have nothing against Paris Hilton at all. No, but I don't. Stop. You're looking at me like I'm lying. I don't. I met her once, and she seemed very nice. Impressed you, didn't she? Anyway. Were you impressed again? So, yes, I thought she was lovely. Really? Yes, lovely. Anyway, so what happened? Everybody's fighting for it. It looks like we're going to get it. And to his credit, Steve Kappas, who's the president of NBC News, calls me. And I'm at a Bed Bath & Beyond shopping or something. And I pick up the phone. He says, I'm supposed to go the next day. And he says, what do you really think of this? I said, I just don't think it looks good for us. I just think, you know what? We're above this. And he said, I agree. Let's not do this. And that took a lot of courage for him to say that. Oh, you're better than us. Well said. All right, here's what we're going to do. We're going to give you our text number, which is textmikey at gmail.com. I keep calling it a number because I don't know what else to call it. But here's a question for you. Chew on this one. Is the photo of a battered Rihanna even from the LAPD? Shut up. Giant noggin, and it was small, and it was weird. KC. San Diego's Rock Mickey Show. The Mikey Moment. Hey, what's up with this shoe-throwing guy, President Bush? What do you think about this guy? Well, you know, I'm a little perturbed about this whole case. Yeah? I'm actually hoping that Judge Judy gets this guy's case. She's one mean hombre. Yes, she is. She's really good. I don't think she's an Iraqi judge. Now that I got nothing to do, I mean, I'm watching her on the daytime television. Oh, are you? Is that what you're doing? And if Judy doesn't get the case, I'm really hoping the case goes to the Honorable Judge Harry Stone. Oh, yes. Both great. That's Mike Korn. That's not a real judge. That's not a real judge. That's an actor. I miss Markie Post, don't you guys? The Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's 921. And before we went to break, we brought this up. We said, okay, is it possible that the photographs that we saw of Rihanna where she's all beat up, is it possible that these photos are not even from the LAPD? Take a listen to this. I think this photo will be the death of Chris Brown's career. Now.
What you're about to hear, by the way, is Harvey Levin, who is the guy that runs TMZ. Oh, and they're the ones who first had that picture. Right. And he's the editor's guy? Is that the deal with Harvey Levin? I think he's the editor. He's like the main dude over there. Yeah, he's the main guy in charge. Do you know his title, Eddie? Yes. What? Main dude in charge. I believe he is. Yeah, I think that's what they call him. It's his actual. Yeah, it's on his business card. Yes. If you check it out. By far. I think people won't forgive him after they see this photo. I don't know that that's true. Everybody thought Kobe Bryant should be given up for dead about five years ago. And Kobe Bryant's back and he's doing commercials. A lot can happen in life. The last thing to say is the way we got this was 100% legal. I have to tell you, at least as we have this meeting, I certainly am not convinced that this is even an LAPV photo. Okay. Now here's why he would be saying this. This is what I'm thinking, okay? Yeah. If he's saying that the way that they obtained it is completely legal and then implies that it may not be a LAPD photo. And you have to ask yourself, well, who would have been that close to her to take the photograph? And the answer is, well, somebody she knew. Somebody she knew would have done it. Or maybe she said, take a picture of me. I want to have a picture. I had a different thought on it. I want to hear any and all thoughts. But he is. Listen.
The one thing we have to make sure of is that he is implying that it may not be an LAPD photo. He doesn't know where he got the photo from? He does know, but he's also saying he does know where he got it, but he's also trying to imply. At least as we have this meeting, I certainly am not convinced that this is even an LAPD photo. If he is, if it's an LAPD photo and he bought it from the LAPD, blah, blah, blah. Why is he saying that? To cover his butt. He's not in any trouble with the LAPD. Oh, they've launched like an investigation. Investigation in their own police department. Wait, let me see. But can he be liable for it? Why would you say I'm not convinced? Felony conspiracy case against TMZ and whoever might have helped him get the photo. Like a tampering deal? A conspiracy. Like they conspired together to release evidence that wasn't allowed to be released to the public. So he's trying to cover his butt. Covering his butt by going, hey, I don't know. This picture was given to me. I don't know. So he knows it came from the LAPD. Why would the LAPD launch an internal investigation into this photo if it wasn't legitimate? I would think that they would launch an investigation.
Because they do believe that it came from them, and they want to know who it came from. So if it was a picture that a friend took or whatever, then the LAPD wouldn't be involved at all. Now, when Harvey Levin is saying that, okay, I'm starting to make sense. I'm piecing it together. So he's trying to stay out of trouble, and the way that he's staying out of trouble is implying that it came from some person. But isn't it a picture taken? Where does it look like it's taken? It's just the part that they post is just a very close up of her photo. Like you don't really see, I mean, of her face. You don't really see any of the background. So it's not like you can really tell where it's taken. Although the background is white, right? Isn't it just like, it's just white? Because it's not like, what do you call it? It's not like a mugshot. No, definitely not. But I'm sure they take pictures for evidence. And, you know, that might be something that they know. Oh, well, that's an evidence shot.
So I think he's trying to play it. So if it comes back to him, if they do try and go after him, he can be like, hey, this picture was given to us. We were told it was a legitimate picture of Rihanna, but we weren't told where they got it from. Did she ever go to the hospital? I believe she did, yes. Possibly there? Yeah. But the LAPD is investigating it, you know, as somebody leaked it from inside their apartment. their department, so they've kind of already given, you know, shown their hand there. I'm really trying to play detective now. That could be another option of why Harvey said that, maybe. Clearly the guy's implying. I don't know. I didn't get it from LAPD. That's what he's implying. Why not just say that? That's what bugs me about his statement. Because he's saying, I don't know. I'm not convinced whether this is a LAPD. You know exactly where you got that picture, bro. Yeah, and I think it's very telling that. that clip you have is from the TMZ TV show. So it's now like kind of on record that he doesn't know, you know, like that wasn't a necessary part of the story for him to put on their television show unless he's just trying to cover his own butt saying, hey, go back to this date. I was even saying back on this date that I didn't know. You know, it's kind of evidence in his defense now. Conspiracy is a bad rap. You get in a lot of trouble. You get in a lot of trouble.
Let's see. The governor is announcing that he will be doing a cameo in an upcoming Stallone movie. Yeah. That's right. Really? It's going to be awesome. It's called The Expendables. I thought it was Oscar 2. No. It's not? Stop or your governor will shoot. He said he couldn't turn down the request. Rambo vs. Predator. Let's do this. Finally. is a terrific director, writer, and a great actor. And he couldn't turn that down. So that'll be out in 2010. He also gives a good background. It's true. He's got strong hands. Very strong hands. But yet tender. Delicate yet tender. Yet masculine and manly and Rambo-like. And scratchy. I got a massage on Friday. Did you? And it hurt.
It hurts. In a good way though, right? Well, I'm a baby when it comes to those. I prefer a massage to be very dainty. You know, like my hands. I was thinking it, wasn't going to say it. You already said it. I said it with my eyes. You said it with your eyes. They were very judgmental eyes. Was that the inner you? That's right. Daddy. Sky, why are you looking at him that way? You said it. He had a legitimate question. Really? You said it. He wanted to know if it was the inner you. Obviously. Thank you. But it's out in the open. I don't understand. I'm confused by these two skies. Two face. You only get the one sky. You get the inner sky, okay? Yeah. All right? Hey, we're getting texts. Can we switch? Text Mikey at gmail.com. You cannot switch. Mikey, hospitals have to take pictures. of all assault victims. So maybe it was somebody at the hospital that did it. Do they take pictures for the police department as evidence? But still those are protected under confidentiality. Mikey, I think that the photos are not even Rihanna and that they've been photoshopped. Well, they said that there's ones that are like that, but that one supposedly wasn't. Yeah.
But there are, maybe some of them are. Yeah, there have been some that were released that... Yeah, that the LAPD didn't say anything about because they were photoshopped. And then this one, when it came out, the LAPD released a statement regarding it. This one says, TMZ said that they got it a legit way and it looks like it was taken right after it happened. Maybe it was taken with a camera phone, possibly Rihanna's herself or a friend. Well, she was by herself and, you know, neighbors in the area called police. So I highly doubt Rihanna would stand there and pose for a photo. She could have gone to a pizza party. What are you talking about? AP1 Dan texts and says, Mikey, it didn't look like a police photo. And they may have wanted to get it out before anyone would be able to interfere or suppress it. Not sure if money changed hands or if this was more about wrecking someone's career. It's P1 Dan. It's interesting. The texts are coming in about Skye. Mikey, I can feel Skye's pain. Tell her she is not alone. Too often I meet people and have met them before. Very embarrassing. P1 Booster. That's the worst. It is the worst. I do it, but I have brain issues.
Brain damage. I do have brain damage. What's your excuse, guy? I don't. Am I talking the inner or outer? I told you. You only get one sky. Eddie, you get the inner sky. Can I have a little outer? No. Just a taste? No. It's too late for you. It's too late for you. But I like that outer sky. No, you don't. Eddie, you knew the outer sky. You knew the outer sky for like 10 minutes. Yeah, not even. She's screaming at me the first time I met. That is so not true. You're such a liar. You don't even remember the first time you met me. I do. You were high. Eddie, do you remember the first time you met me? I do remember the very first time. What? It was a free bird Friday in San Jose. She was all over you. Yeah, well, duh. Undressing me with her eyes. Like today. In her sky, you know what I mean? It was so dumb. Do you remember the first time for real? Yeah, we didn't even, like, speak. Yeah, because it was when we were getting ready to go to Dallas, and she wasn't coming, and she was throwing me some attitude. I was not throwing you serious. 100% throwing me nasty. I was running around working, and then I went off to get high at the end of the show. Sky, we're on the radio. Hey, inner. We're on the air. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're on the air. That was a long time ago in the Bay Area. It's legal in the Bay Area. No, it isn't.
Oh, my heart is counting like Thor's hammer on Dr. Doom's titanium-infused faceplate. Rock 1053. Who says the dollar isn't strong these days? We're not getting married for like five and a half weeks. I mean, sorry, five and a half months. And they're holding it for us for five and a half months before we get married. That's rad. Yeah, so, and I haven't heard anybody talk about that, so. That's pretty awesome. Yeah, it was way awesome. Something going on over here. Yeah. Our text messages are back. Text Mikey at gmail.com. Yeah, Mike. This text message says, Mikey Sky claims to have a difficulty meeting new people, but how would you explain meeting new folks at the bathhouse? Now, that right there is... An interesting question. I've never been to a bathhouse, okay? Sky, that is not entirely true. That is true. Jacuzzi club, same thing. Because a bathhouse is a place where you would meet strangers, and the place I went to was a private room. So I was there with somebody I knew. That is true. Yeah, you were. That is true. Sexy time. But it still was, you know. Dirty. Real stories of a jacuzzi club. It was a jacuzzi club. It was a club for jacuzzi enthusiasts. Right, right. Which I am. You pay your dues. You get jacuzzi weekly. I like jacuzzis. I hope someday to have one in my backyard. That's right. Then you won't have to go to the club. I don't go to any club. Yes. Let's see.
Skye, you should know that the best way to break the ice with people is to smoke the hippie lettuce first. The hippie lettuce? Oh, no. The opposite. That didn't work for me back in the day. The hippie lettuce, by the way. I've never heard that. I've never heard hippie lettuce. Yeah, I would sit in the corner and Eddie would keep coming up to me going, are you awake? Yes, you. Me? Yes. Hey, you did that? I don't remember doing that. Yes, I remember that. Sounds like you. Because your eyes are closed. I wish. I hope so. Is that inner or outer sky? Oh, that's big time outer. Oh, okay. Big time outer. It is, right? I don't know. I don't want to keep on clarifying. I think it's pretty you need to. We don't know. We don't know which is inner and outer sky. They're all about Eve now. I don't know who I'm talking to anymore. It's like different personalities.
Great reference, bro. I don't know what that means. What does that mean? Google it. I only wish that Sean were on the show so that we could break down the following audio clip. You were about to hear President Clinton. Former President Clinton. Well, you still always call him president from what I understand. As long as they're alive, you still call him. Yeah, that's stupid. It is dumb. Why? I don't know. Why is that stupid? Because they're not the president. They're not the president anymore. They're not a country. Why wouldn't you call them former? Led the free world. Why wouldn't you? Okay, so President Clinton. Rob's really taking a stand. I won that one. Yes. Hey, you won. Congrats. Listen, I threw in the white towel on that one. One look in his eyes, I knew I wouldn't win in that. That's right. But here's President Clinton. Oh, you know what? Now that the economy is all messed up, I know exactly how I would have done it. Now I would have fixed it. Most of the work on the economy so far has been directed at the banks. Only now are we seeing direct action for homeowners. Do you believe that was a mistake? That we should have tried to help regular families, homeowners?
Yes, but that's not President Obama's mistake. I think that should have been done a year ago. I personally believe, based on my... Of course. And I'm sure that's why you were blogging about it a year ago, right? I personally believe. I think most people think that. That if we moved aggressively on this home problem a year and a half ago, even a year ago, as much as... You started it. Yeah, you started shipping stuff off to China. Let's just not point fingers. The stimulus plan. Obviously, that is the Obama administration. Why should we be confident that spending is the way out of this situation? Great question. I view the stimulus plan as a bridge over troubled water. And that's a great song. By Elvis Presley. Wait, no, it's Simon. Like a bridge. It's absolutely the right thing to do. And I'm a fiscal conservative. You know, I balanced the budget. I paid $600 billion down on the debt for the American people. I don't like deficit spending. He has no choice. I'm like the best, man. Greatest president ever. Suck it, Taft. Take that, Garfield. He has to prop it up. I meant the cat. You would have done this? Absolutely.
Of course you would. Of course you would. You said that. Oh, yes. How do you do that, Clinton? You know, we might have had differences around the edges, but the point is you have to have a stimulus plan now to get you from here to the time when the bank reforms and the other financial changes kick in. I might have even proposed more money. You know what? I would have voted for Ruben Studdard, too. In hindsight. Looking back, I wouldn't have thrown all my support to Bo Bice. I think it was a mistake. Clearly better. That's right. And I said it to Hillary at the time. I said, this is a mistake. Why are we doing this? We shouldn't be voting for him, but I couldn't stop. I kept dialing and dialing. Of course, in hindsight. I wouldn't have A-Rod's cousin shoot me up. That's true. Even though I got huge. Yes, look at me. But look at these, man. They're tiny because of it. You shouldn't have done it. You put those away, please. This is very personal for me. Hers are bigger. Yeah, it's true. Listen to her. I am ready to rumble. It's because of the roids, Roid Rager. It's okay. Get off the road, Roid Rager. That's what I call her at home.
What's that name? Road Rager. Hey, you want to know some great food? It's at Stone Brewery. Oh, he finally went. Dude, he went again, Skye. Oh, he went again? He went again. That is awesome, dude. And got the same thing. What, are you already getting the stimulus package? Yeah, dude. Rebecca got the mac and cheese. Rebecca got mac and cheese. I got yakisoba noodles. It's ramen noodles. It's ramen noodles. Why not get something different? Oh, dude. I thought of you. I know. I know. I thought Eddie would be saying to me, come on, don't do this. Get something new. He does this. He finds something he likes. He gets it over and over and over again. And did you go outside this time? Yeah. Oh, you did? Yes. Finally. Yeah. Well, it's freezing outside. Oh, it's freezing. Oh, it's 67 degrees outside. They had these gigantoid eaters that worked. That was louder. Wait. No, no. Inner is the bad one. Now listen. Now for those of you that don't know. You suck. For those of you that don't know, Stone Brewery is a place that Sky went with Zeth back in the day and didn't invite us. Any of us. For his birthday. For his birthday. She just invited Zeth and not us. That's not how it happened. Earlier that day was like, man, I wish we could do something for Zeth's birthday. Mike lives like two seconds away from the place. It is not my fault. It is not my fault.
There were plans. They fell through at the last second. I knew he was going to be going somewhere. I know it. No invites. Yeah, we hear about it. It's in the yesterday email on Monday. It's like, oh, we had a great time for Zeth's birthday. Oh, really? Oh, wow. When I was sitting here all morning long trying to come up with something. Well, you didn't figure it out, bro. So you couldn't invite me? You're a horrible person. Oh, that's so brewery. Zeth still has heard about it. Oh, Zeth was happy, please. What do you get when you go there, Skye? Um, I get the mushroom penne. And now why is that pretty, sir? Because I bet there's mozzarella in it. Mushroom penne. Sky, do you order it? When you order it, do you say, yes. I want to take the mushroom penne. When you do the accent. No question. Oh, no, she's giving a look, dude. She's giving a look. Come on, Ashley. Get in on this. Uh-uh, dude. No way. Give us one mozzarella. And a mozzarella. And also thick as a macaron. She does not look amused, man. That is not a happy look. No, he didn't. Oh, yes, he did. Just let it go, okay? Just let it go. That one will never go away. Stop it.
Let's see. Text us. Text Mikey at gmail.com or call us 570-1053. Mikey, lay off Skye. She's having a rough day. Thank you. Maybe you guys could all pitch in and get her a massage and a Roman shower. Mikey, can you talk to us about the first time that Sky met Roman Oban? Wow. Was she nervous then? Yes. And you guys embarrassed me because I said something after he had walked out of the room and then you called him back in here and called me on it. Yeah, we did. That is true. Yep.
See? When he left the room. Inner sky waited for him to leave the room. You were in like a puddle of your own drool. That is true. That's not true. That is true. You were practically waiting in it like Michael Phelps. Not true. You were doing the breaststroke in it. Not even close. I'll say. Hello. Okay. Come here, Robin. That's not how it went. Sadly, I'm interested in football. Yeah, she got over that real quick, huh? That's right. And we became friends. Yeah, you did. And then, you know, we could be friends. Hit it. Kiosk! We had somebody. That was good. Know who it is? Who? It's Peele and Quimby who I want to ask, what about the podcast? How was Boy Blunder and Sean on the podcast on Friday night? Well, Sean was amazing. That's fantastic. He went through his whole TiVo with us to let us know what he's watching on TV. Was it everything? That was the whole show then, right? Oh, it's everything I'm watching. It's the greatest. Yeah.
He told us how he became a germaphobe. Sweet. And then one bear came and we had the bear come in and apologize to him. Wow. Did he find that really funny? He was actually really cool about it. And then he left. So I don't know. Okay. Yeah, that sounds about right. Yeah. And then, yeah, it was a good show. And then Danny and Spaceboy, like, were, you know, messing with each other and making me crazy. So it was a really fun time. Hey, Quimby, when is that P1 party? Okay. Is Skye going to come because she doesn't want to meet any of my friends? Oh. Oh, Skye just gave the microphone a look of despise. Oh, Quimby. What the heck was that? Too soon. Ashley, tell her to spit in her own face. Spit in your own face. It's for my birthday, so some of my best friends are there, and I want them to meet my lovely show workers. Oh, no. I just want to recreate that moment. Tell her to spit in her own face. Spit in your own face. What happened? Where did you go? Why did you hang up? I did it. How did you do that, Mike? I did it. I put it on the hold and she left. Ashley and I get it. Gosh darn it. That was funny.
I was going to listen back to the podcast yesterday. Spit in your own face. Oh, that's terrible. A couple of bullies. Like the mean girls. Yeah, like the mean girls. Yeah. Whatever. My goodness. We're the ones picking up people. We're really mean. You are. No wonder people judge you. Okay. You know what? Oh, man. Long morning. I love inner and outer. All right. Long morning. It's innie and outie. Is that what it is? Okra Winfrey is going to have the octo-grandfather. Here's a preview. Do you think the doctor was irresponsible? Absolutely irresponsible, exactly. What is going on? Germany? What the heck? Can anybody figure that out? Your daughter was irresponsible. Do you think your daughter was irresponsible? Yes, ma'am. She listened to him. She had faith in this...
Let me ask you this. It's a very pointed question you can answer or not. Do you think your daughter is mentally stable? That's a very good question. Yeah, it is. Yeah, can you answer it? Skye, what's the latest on this dude that went on TV this morning saying that he's the father, the sperm donor, as it were? Well, I haven't seen it. All I saw was little, you know. clips that were on the gossip websites that I read, but basically this dude was going to be on Good Morning America today claiming that he is the dad of the octuplets. the sperm donor and he didn't find out about it till just right now. And Octomom says, no, this guy's a fake. He's a phony. It's not true. And from what I read this morning, he told Good Morning America that the reason he donated the sperm is because Octomom had told him that she had cervical cancer. And so time was of the essence for her to have children. So, you know, either that's true or he's some crazy psycho who just wants a little bit of this. Whoever's not telling the truth.
is gross. Oh, yeah. Because if she's not telling the truth, then that's really gross that she said that. If he's not telling the truth, how did he come up with that? Like, that's really weird. But he wants a DNA test, you know? So, we'll see. Because isn't she saying she actually knows who the donor is and they're friends? She's saying that they're friends and, you know, they... She says this guy ain't him. Yeah. Exactly. Weird. Interesting story. Yeah. Quimby's back in the line. Oh, great. Oh. Quimby, you, uh... You really got Sky to, you know, not dig you. You spit in your face. Oh, no. Stop fighting, girls. Unity. I love you. Calm down. Anyways, the party's March 6th, and I was online, too, so I thought you hung up on me when you put me on hold. Oh, oh, oh. Quim. I love you. Where's the party? The party's at Dave and Buster. Sweet. 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. March the 6th? Yes. And this is solely run by P1s. They put it together, they're doing it, and the whole deal. Danny did it. He's good. That's cool. Yeah. Yeah, I think I'd like to go. The entrance is one birthday present for me, okay? The intern, say that again? The entry fee is a birthday present for me. Oh, is that right? Is it your birthday? We're celebrating my birthday because it's on a Monday. Boo. When is your birthday? March the 9th. Ah, okay. All right, cool. Love you guys.
Love you. There she is. It's Hall of Famer, P1 Quimby. Love her or don't love her, but make up your mind, will you? What? I don't know what that means. Let's see. South Korea says that North Korea has missiles and they can hit U.S. bases with them. All good. Not good. Thank you, South. That scares me. So South Korea put together this report that talks about all this stuff, saying that basically right now they have these medium-range ballistic missiles that can hit our U.S. bases in Guam. Oh, no. That's where I was born. Oh, no. And they also say that North Korea appears to be preparing to test fire its long-range missiles, which can hit Alaska or Hawaii. Yeah, well, they scare me because that Kim Jong-il is crazy. Yeah, it also goes on to say that North Korea has an army of 1.2 million and that that poses an immediate and grave threat to the world. Yeah, it does. Oh, yeah. Why are they so angry? I'll tell you why they're angry. Because their leader, he has an insecurity issue. And it's bad because when you got...
I don't know if you remember this, but the first time he ever golfed, he had 18 hole-in-ones. That's true. He said that. How can you be insecure if you're that good? Did you know that Eddie is not making a joke? That Kim Jong-il actually said that. The first time ever he played golf, he had 18 hole-in-ones. He wasn't joking either. And if he's so insecure, why was he in that movie? Oh, that was a puppet. Team America? Team America? That was a puppet. It wasn't really Kim Jong-il. But I saw it. It wasn't a documentary. I thought he died in that. I wish he would play more sports. You do? He's good. I really wish he would play more sports. Like MMA. He could beat Michael Phelps. I bet he could. Wow. Easily. I bet he could. He'd have to take off the glasses. He doesn't even know how to swim. He doesn't. He'd figure it out. Hey, speaking of MMA, how did our boy Diego Sanchez do Saturday Night? Holy cow. Ashley, did you watch? No, I was asleep. First of all, he won. He won a decision over Joe Daddy Stevenson. But he looked like a different human being. Really? Yeah, because he dropped down to 155. Remember they were saying that? And he looked weird. What do you mean? He just looks gaunt. Like the machinist? Kind of.
He looked like a different human being. I got to call him and have an Oscars. Now that's ridiculous. I mean, she looked normal. Her face was like in. Really? In what? Like in on itself. Like it was a black hole. Like inner sky. Yes. I'm trying to understand. Let's get this clear. Anyway, Eddie. Go ahead. Nobody noticed that from me? Yeah, I didn't notice that. I'll call him and have him come in here and you guys are going to trip because you know what he looks like. And he looks real different, man, real different. And he was crazy. Like, he was barking and, like, frothing at the mouth when he was walking to the ring. Diego? Yeah, dude, he was acting crazy. Wow. Like, crazy, like an insane person. And then what happened when the fight started? He, you know, he would look real sharp. You know, his stand-up was real strong. Yeah. And, you know, the fight never went to the ground. They just stood up and fought for three rounds. And Diego, you know. Decision? Yeah. Yeah, Diego got, he had the harder punches and more variety of punches and kicks and stuff like that. So he won clearly, but he looks weird, man. What a trip. Yeah. And our boy Brandon is fighting, Brandon Vera's fighting on March 7th. Come on with it. Are you serious? Come on. But remember what I was telling you guys, you know, how because he lost that decision last time, he's like way down in the card. He's on one of the non-televised fights. No.
He's got to win. He's got to start winning and winning impressively. I want to be in his corner. I told him. He needs to let his hands go. He's been too tentative. We'll talk to him. I want to see him win. He needs to start looking impressive or they're going to drop him. He's got it. Ash went to a place called Tower 23. Is that a hip joint? What the heck is that? She's laughing right in your face. Well, listen, I go to her for the cool stuff because I know she knows about cool stuff. I don't. I'd say... Is that Tommy Bahamas in there? There's definitely some Tommy Bahamas rocking in there. It's an eppity place. I don't wear the... It's a real nice shirt, Mike. It's nothing to be ashamed of. I don't... The guy doesn't even own a Tommy Bahamas shirt. You look great in it, bro. So are you telling me there was a lot of Tommy Bahamas in there? It's that type of joint. It's a little bit more upscale. Yeah. It's right on the beach. Which, where? What city? It's in PB. Yeah. Right on the beach. Tower 23? Yeah. It's only, like, my second time to ever be there. Is that an actual lifeguard tower? No. Yeah, they've converted it up into a real high-end joint. I always thought that, too, until I went. I thought it was actually, like, I didn't understand. But, no, it's like a hotel slash, like,
night scene area, get food, like patio. That's cool. That's cool. Listen, I've never eaten there. Like they're, they serve food during the day. I'm sure. And they love it. They got, it's like, I gotta go, I gotta go to Robin, to Ashley for things that have to do with. It was all right. I don't know what's cool. But is it only for the young people? Just come to me, Mike. I know all the hip stuff going on. But you didn't know about, you didn't know about tower. Must not be that cool. That's right. Tell them about Margarita Rocks. Yeah, dude, that's where we and Ron go. Wait a second, though. Isn't that from a few years back? Here we go. What's up, Blue? Back in the day. They closed that place down. Yeah, they did. We still go there, though. P1 Spam Jelly. Hey, guys. Hey, I was just wondering if you guys noticed on the Oscars last night, like, one of the funniest acceptance speeches was with that Japanese guy winning the... Dude, I've been getting emails and texts about it. Did you fast forward that? So this guy, he could barely speak English. And he's like, thank you, blah, blah, blah. That's all he did. And then at the end, he just goes, Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto. See ya. Is that this one? Thank you to all the Academy. Thank you to everybody who helped me this film. I'm very, very happy.
You're okay. Thank you. I am here because of films. This is a new departure. We know. I don't think that is him. It's not? No. For me. And I will. He didn't talk that much. We will be back. I hope. Thank you. It's the best animated short film underneath the Jack Black clip. It's like the seventh one down. Kunio Kato? Yes. It's so heavy. Thank you very much. Thank you, my supporter. Thank you, all my stuff. Thank you, my... All my stuff, he said? Staff. No, all of his stuff. My pants at home. Thank you. Did he say his pants at home? His pantsuit. You guys. His pantsuit. People are different. His pantsuit. That's not what I'm saying.
My pencil. Thank you. Thank your pantsuit. It's pencil. He's an anime. He's thinking pencil? He's an anime. It's a different country. Academy. Thank you. Animation. Thank you. Thank you, animation. Without you, I wouldn't have done this. You wouldn't have a job. Thank you. My company, robots. I don't know. His company, robots. Thank you, Mr. Robot. That I get. That I get. That guy gets it. That was good stuff, Spam Jelly. That was a good scene. That was a good one. Let's see. Mickey Rourke. Listen, I know it. Here's the thing, man. You gotta see it. Nah.
I saw the part where James Franco stapled the dollar bill to Seth Rogen's face, and that's all I need to see. Yeah, you don't want to see that in the real deal. They really did staple stuff in that movie. Here he is talking about his dog. Now, this was from the Spirit Awards. His dog died. Loki. He loved Loki. They asked him about it on the red carpet. I didn't think I was appropriate. I know. Yeah, it's creepy. It's a good time. I have something in my eye. You never have something in your eye. Every time with you, Rebecca just burst out laughing right now. Did you guys think that was not necessary to ask him about Loki? I think that's wrong. Yeah, me too. He's trying to have a good time. Don't bring up that. Don't bring up the Loki. Dead dogs. Plus, he loved them so much, you know? But it was kind of weird. That necklace he was wearing was kind of weird. What does it matter with it? It's got an interesting style. It had Loki's eye on it. What's the problem with that? So what? It had a little picture of Loki on it. So kind of you would expect people to ask you if you're wearing a picture hanging around your neck. Maybe she's right with that. If you can do dead dogs coming out of the record, Mike, then it's ponderous. It's ponderous, man. I've just gotten thousands of letters.
Hey, what's your language, Mickey? You're on the air. On TV. Here's the people that know me about my dog that died six days ago. Loki, Loki, this is for you, baby. Oh, he started losing it. And I just got done talking to the Santa Monica Police Department. They gave me a bed to sleep in ten years ago. And I thanked them for, I asked them for two pillows. They told me to f*** off, but anyway. That's interesting. I wanted to win just for the award. The acceptance speech, man. Well, he deserved it. I think he got robbed. He did. He got robbed. He lost to this guy. You call me homo-loving sons of guns. Oh, you're so shocking. How do you do it? That's what he starts his speech with? Right out of the gate. So you know you're in for it.
What if you're just trying to watch TV with your kids? What about that? Now you've got to have a talk. Daddy, what's a commie and a homo? What's a commie homo? Sean Penn. There you go. I did not expect this, but I... Neither did we. Yeah, boo. Well, then give it back. I'm lactose intolerant. Get out of here, milk. Eddie's allergic to that movie. I want it to be very clear that I do know how hard I make it to appreciate me. That's right. Thank you. Very true. You don't have anybody disagreeing with that one. And it makes me angry when people don't thank their spouses in their speeches. It makes me angry, Mike. It is so disrespectful. It is? Yes. What if it doesn't have anything to do with them in the movie? They support you in life every day. Yeah. So if you're a good husband or a good wife, you should be appreciating them every day. Yeah. And then when you have a big stage to scream it from the rooftops, that should be the first thing you're screaming. It is? Yes. Okay. Write that down, bro. I'm going to write this down. When you win your radio Oscar.
First person is Rebecca. I mean, hey, listen. The first person. Let me say this. If you do, it's fantastic. But if you don't. You're a jerk. But if you don't, I don't think. You hate your spouse if you don't. And he agrees. Yeah, she's right. Yeah, I don't know. I say it's up to the individual. Yeah, I'm sorry, Robin Wright Penn. You deserve better. You were in Forrest Gump. You deserve better than that. Wow. Wow. Jenny. My goodness. Jenny. She looked beautiful sitting there next to him, didn't she? He doesn't even appreciate it. There were times when I looked at the screen and I thought, man, this Oscars has a very old look and feel to it. What was up with Kate Winslet's hair? It's like a helmet. I thought it was. It could have been. She wasn't wearing a helmet? How are the eyebrows, Rob? Guy brows, man. No. They looked okay. She looked terrific. No, she didn't. She looked like Madonna. No, she didn't look like Madonna. She is Madonna's twin. Oh, you're weird. Dude, she's one gap away from being Madonna. I'm one gap away. Right in the tooth area. I heard one of the fashion dudes tell somebody that they were... What's the stupidest word? Staggering.
The dress is staggering. Oh, come on. No dress is staggering. Staggering? Why do people care so much about those clothes, man? They look good. I mean, is that big a deal? Marissa Tomei didn't look good in that whatever she was wearing, that skirt. Do you think so? She's her fave. Yeah, I know, and it shocked me. But when she's in the wrestler and she's all crummy looking, smoking. He's not kidding. That says a lot about Rob in that. Just analyze that statement. Because they showed the clips. I haven't seen the wrestler, but they showed the clips of her in just like a jacket. I think she's pretty. You know who was pretty? Who? Is Anne Hathaway as the Joker. Like, she is really hot in the Dark Knight. No, she's not in there. I was glad she won. No, that was Heath Ledger. That was Heath Ledger. Well, I've seen Anne Hathaway, and she looks like the Joker. No, she's not in there. No, she's a gorgeous woman. That's so mean. She's a gorgeous woman with a beautiful smile. She's got a nice big smile. Leave her alone. Pearly whites. P1 Super Smooth would like to talk about Sky meeting new people. Oh, no more. P1 Super Smooth? Hello? Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm here. Go ahead, Super Smooth. Sky's problem with meeting new people. Hey, bro. Is it in your basement? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you talking? Where are you right now? I'm in a box.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Is it a ceramic box or a cardboard box? Ceramic box. That's what I thought. I was going to call it, but I wasn't 100% sure. I thought it's either ceramic or it's made of piano keys. I can't decide. I can't decide. But what were you calling to say, Super Smooth? Great acoustics, though. Yeah. I was going to say, Skye, all she needs to do is just picture everybody she's meeting as a high school boy at a basketball game. That's true. That's true. If you do. Friday reference. How long ago? I'm not even addressing that. Well, the deal is that Sky got hit on by a high school guy one time at a basketball game, a high school basketball game.
What a great reference. Yeah, Sky goes to them every weekend. I do not. I do not. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a scout. No, I am not. Yes, I am. By the home team. My friend had a family member playing, okay? Yes, in Watts. Shut up. I did nothing inappropriate, please. Good reference, box guy. Holy cow. Nice going. Really? P1DT. DP, yeah. I had the worst weekend, and you guys just started my week off beautifully. You've been making me laugh all morning. Nice. I just want to thank you guys tremendously. Love it, bro. Thank you very much. We appreciate that. All right. P1 Cesar, and you can call us. 570-1053 is our phone number. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones. You can call about anything you want to call about. Hold on. What's up, Cesar? Hey, how you doing, bro? Good. Hey, does your son still have long hair? He does. All right. Why don't you, I heard you, you're saying what, to buzz it? Why don't you buzz it and just keep a little long ponytail like a Padawan? It will not do it. Yeah, Mike. Actually, I'm rethinking the long hair. I think you should keep him and let him go as Randy the Ram for Halloween.
Yes, dude. Oh, my gosh. Dude, I would do anything to see him in little wrestler tights. And like that goofy fur vest. Yes, the fur vest. You have to. Oh, that'd be fantastic. White elbow pads. You think your wife will let you do that haircut? I don't think she would go that Padawan direction, dude. I don't think so. She wants it to look like rock star hair. You know, like the guy from Switchfoot. She wants it to be like that long kind of surfer hair, all one length. Chad Kroger? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, no, Eddie. No, no, no. Chad Kroger is the inspiration there. P1300 has a question for B-Rob. Hey, just wondering if Rob made it up to that Dropkick Murphy show on Friday. No. Oh, man. Getting good tickets was great. Dude, it was so good. They played like two hours. It was up in L.A., right? Yeah, it was Hollywood. Yeah. Oh, man, you missed it. Yeah, they sold out right away, man. They always sell out right away. Man, a bunch of sellouts. Oh. No, it's a good thing when you sell out shows. You missed a good one. Thank you, brother. All right, later. P1's Scooby is on the line. Oh, yeah, baby. What's up, Scooby? Hey, I wanted to add more to that Oscar stuff. Scooby, are you whispering? No. You aren't? No.
Okay, I just want to make sure, because I thought that sometimes I detect that you're whispering, and I thought, is he calling from work? Well, I am doing that, but I'm not whispering. That's what I thought. Yeah. What were you going to say, Scoob? How many of you thought that Huge Jackman was going to drop Anne Hathaway when he picked her up going up the stairs? I didn't see that. It was right in the beginning in his opening little thing. I thought that little skit was pretty funny. Yeah, I was impressed with Anne Hathaway. I liked it, but I thought he was going to drop her. Oh, well, anytime anyone picks a person up, yeah. Roman Oban picked you up. Yeah, there was no way he was going to drop her. Hello, have you seen him? That's true. Please. That is true. Please. And I had one more question to ask for Sky. Okay. Sky. Yes. You say you're afraid of people and, you know, I sent you an email and I told you all kinds of good stuff. Yeah. Attack. You're quick to go protest something and be in front of all kinds of other people protesting. And what's the logic in that? And you're being afraid to introduce yourself. That's kind of true. Like, you know, you're able to protest, but you're...
Well, I mean, I don't protest that often, but when I do, I'm just one in a crowd. Yeah, she's not doing it alone. I'm not there, like, on the... She would never protest something alone. I'm not on, like, the bullhorn. Can you imagine her protesting alone? Oh, that would be great. You should send her to protest something. Can you stop? Rob is the stunt person here. A single protest? I'll go with you. No, you go by your stunt. I'll be real loud. That's fantastic. All right, Scoop, thanks. Do I have something in my eye? I think so. I really think I have something in my eye. Yes, you do. This time, I'm sure of it. P1 TiVo. Hey, Mike. You guys are going this morning? What's up, man? Hey, my boss is mad at me. I was kind of slacking this morning, but I know he's sitting at his desk listening to the radio right now. Uh-huh. Sorry, Martin. Oh, Martin. Why were you slacking, bro? Forgive him. Why were you slacking? Oh, you know, I worked six days last week, and then I got my tax return, and my son was in L.A. Just let Martin let you go home for the day. Martin. Yeah, Martin.
Why don't you let him go home for the day, Martin? Yeah. Give the guy a break. I don't think you're healthy. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. All right, thanks, bro. Later, guys. Okay, bye. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. And today, she's going to give you double shots on the Nooner. It'll be great. We'll be back here and do it tomorrow morning again at 5.30. The Mikey Show is...
