You just kind of did, though. Ridiculous. Welcome you. Welcome one. Welcome all. Textmikey at gmail.com is our text number. And you can call us because we do open phones right now at 570-1053. Really big stuff in the news today. Really big stuff in the news today to talk about. Great audio. Incredible audio to play for you today. Including audio of a practical joke on Matt Lauer that's pretty awesome. It's pretty awesome. So all that coming up later in the show. And this other sensational audio that we're going to be getting to later is this exclusive audio of the Octomom and her mom hashing it out. Whoa. If that's what you want to call it. They're airing their grievances with one another. It's an interesting study in humanity. Interesting study in parent.
Child relationships. Where did it take place? Dude, it's so weird. It took place on this website called Radar. Give me one second. It occurred on RadarOnline.com. What the heck is that? Right? Don't know. And they got an interview with the Octomom and her mom? And her mom. How did they do that? I don't know. That's money? Would be my guess. Wow. It's a trip because I was previewing it and it's like a talk show. It's got a set. It's like Dr. Phil kind of deal. We're going to be playing that a little bit later on. It's sensational. It's just weird that out of all the outlets that would be the one that they would choose to go on. Not like Good Morning America or Oprah or 2020 or something like that. I know. It's so bizarre. I wonder if there is truth to the fact that those guys just won't pay them. They don't want to pay. You would think they even want to, though, right? It's the hottest story in the world. Everybody wants to hear about it. It's weird. It's the biggest story in the world. 5701053. Text Mikey at gmail.com. We would love to hear from you via text message. Text Mikey.
at gmail.com. Load that into your cell phone and you can text us whenever you'd like. President Obama tonight is talking to the Senate, Skye? Congress. To Congress. And it's going to be on TV. Yes. And it's on every single network. Yeah. Dude. By the way, is today Fat Tuesday? Yes. Oh. All right, calm down. Today is Fat Tuesday. Yes. Which used to be a nickname that Rob gave to Ashley. It's okay. It's okay. But it's gone away. It's okay. Thank you. He no longer refers to her as Fat Tuesday. It's okay. Thank you. I would love a hurricane right now. You would? Yeah. Why? Sounds good. Really? An actual, like with the alcoholic beverage, a hurricane. Do it. He didn't mean a natural disaster. That's why I was shocked. That's why I was shocked. Oh, he didn't. Okay. Well, I'm thinking New Orleans. That would have been weird. But I agree. That sounds delicious. Oh, let's get around for these two. I don't think we need to bring this up, Eddie. I do remember that. And we wanted to get a hurricane. And I told her, these are, they taste sweet, but they'll knock you on your butt. And she's like, no, no, no, I'm fine. Give me a big gulp. Yeah. So she gets one and we're walking back and she's so drunk. She like ran into a pole. Yeah. Big gulp sized.
Hurricane. She didn't believe me that they're like all alcohol. She did later. Later she figured you were telling her the truth. Yeah, I figured it out. So anyway, speaking of New Orleans, there is going to be a sort of response to whatever Obama says tonight in his speech from Louisiana Governor Bobby Hindall, who apparently is a rising star. But tonight Obama is going to speak to Congress and it's going to be on every single network. Dude, it was interesting because yesterday I was looking at my TiVo guide and stuff like that and I noticed that American Idol wasn't on tonight and it's always on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. See? It's Angelina Jolie, ladies and gentlemen. That was really uncomfortable. That was unexpected. And I couldn't figure out why. That's so funny. I guess that's why. Yeah. Yeah. So I guess that is why. Yeah. Because it's going to be the speech is going to be nine o'clock Eastern time, which, you know, six o'clock our time. But if they don't air the shows during primetime on the East Coast, they're not just going to waste them on the West Coast. So, you know, we get jacked. Yeah.
So it'll be on TV on all the big networks. President Obama will explain that the fixing of the economy will need to happen on several levels and several matters. And it's not all going to happen at once. And the passage of this latest stimulus plan was just the start of the plan to fix things. They say he's also going to touch on foreign policy and then basically update the nation on what's been going on as far as health care, energy, education, and then, of course, the economy and the budget. So a lot of big issues are getting hit tonight. Yeah. So it'll be six o'clock our time. I'm motivated to see it because out of fear, because, you know, I've got my mind is not completely settled with the economy. The state of California being jacked up. Broke. Broke. Like our state being broken. Our country appearing to be broken. Yesterday, the Dow closed at its lowest level since 1997. So, yeah, it hurts. And so, it's all, you know. I didn't really get that. Because I thought, like, the 90s were good.
You know what I mean? I kept hearing the reports, and I was like, oh, wow, that sounds real bad. But I thought in the late 90s. The end of the 90s were phenomenal because the dot-com boom started to happen. And it was great at the end of the 90s. But apparently, so the biggest drop. Yeah, I mean, like you're talking about, yeah, it was really bad in the 80s. But, you know, previous to this, the big, big drop had been right after September 11th. And we hadn't got that low in a while. And then we hit that point. And now we're even lower than that. All right. Now I get it. I get it. Because I don't really understand. I thought I was like, the 90s were awesome. I'd give anything to be back there. So we're cool. Yeah. They say that. I mean, it was great. The economy was flourishing with the Nevada albums. Yeah. So the Dow was down 251 points yesterday, the lowest level since May of 97. It's really bad. Where are we at right now? The Dow's at 7,114. And remember when we'd have money guy George in here and he was like, you know, we got to stay at nine. You know, nine is where we need to be. We're at seven now. We should grab him and see if he's available to. Hey, Rob, will you go see if he could come in for like five minutes right now or if he's busy? Go ask him. Yeah. Because I want to hear about what he has to say. This stuff is scary. He needs to answer to this.
Hold him accountable, Mike. I need to hold him accountable for the Dow being at 7,000-something. Yeah. But here's Obama tonight, and he's going to be talking about all this stuff, education, every single thing. List him again. Okay, so he says update the nation on what he's done as far as building a case for more action on health care. Pause. Let's pause between each of them. What he's done? In the last couple of weeks? Well, yeah. Basically talking about two things. Oh, here's George. No way. Let's focus on George. Let's talk to George. George. George Chamberlain. You are dapper and we need to speak with you. That's right. George Chamberlain can be seen on NBC 739 hourly talking about money matters. Good to see you guys again. It's been a while. It's good to see you, George. So we're a little freaked out because yesterday the Dow closed at its lowest level since 1997. Sure. And I got a couple questions. How come a new president hasn't invigorated our economy? Well, I'll just give you my opinion. He has taken on a strategy, and tonight's going to be really important to see how he presents himself. But he's several times, almost in every speech he's given, has told the American public, it's going to get worse before it gets better.
And that's just not sitting real well with people out there. Maybe he's right. I don't know. We'll all find out together on this thing. But he's been presenting that. And so even President Clinton said, stop telling people that. Don't do that. You're freaking people out. Yeah, and so it will be interesting. I don't know if he's going to change his tone or not. He's probably going to stick to his guns a little bit longer on that one. But he's got a big speech tonight. And one of the things we've learned from elected officials so far, this was classic with Bush. When he had the new Treasury guy, Geithner, got up the other day and gave this much anticipated speech. And he began the speech by saying, I really don't have any plan, but we realized it's a bad problem or we're working on it. Well, that's not what we want to hear. We want to hear a plan. And I think the president, the best thing the president could say for investors and consumers alike would be, we've got this plan. Here's what it is. And this is it. We're done. We're going to give this thing six months, 12 months, 18 months to work. And we're just going to have to all sweat this thing out together. People would love to hear that from an elected official. Well, let me say this. Our big worry. And when I say we, I mean conservatives. Our big worry with Obama was this guy doesn't have any experience. He shouldn't be the president. And what I've seen so far.
Is a guy with phenomenal intentions making some rookie mistakes and having to learn on the job. For instance, when he went down into the press corps, he was going to do something very fresh, very cool. Go down into the press corps and he immediately learned this was a bad idea. So he won't be doing it anymore. Learning on the job. He's been telling the world this is going to get very bad. And he's learning. Oh, our economy. Really, the Dow, the few days after I do that, it really goes into the dumps. Well, since Election Day, and I don't know how much of this can be attributed to one situation or another. The Dow's down 25% since Election Day, since November 4th. And so there has been less than a warm reception. And I'll tell you why. It's very simple. Their anticipation is that... There's more taxes. There's more regulation. There's more government involvement in our life to come. And that just does not sit well. Now, whether or not that becomes reality, we'll have to see. We don't know. But the president's going to address a situation tonight that's pretty scary. Evidently, he's going to talk about Social Security. Well, there's only two ways to fix Social Security. One is to raise taxes or cut benefits.
Neither of those. When you say fix Social Security, do you mean keep it going? Yeah, so that it will go on for generations to come. And the way to do that is what? You have two choices. You either cut the benefits that people are getting or you raise the taxes on people that are working. And that's likely to be the option. There is no more powerful lobby out there than those ARP folks, the retired people out there, one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington. And to cut their benefits would... would really be a dramatic move, and I don't think it would fly. But he says he's going to... Every president, every president has said, we're going to fix Social Security. And then they try to do it one time, and they get their ears knocked off, and they say, well, maybe we'll leave that to the next administration. George, do you think that President Obama will talk about how he plans to cut the deficit by half in four years? That's what he's... That's what this speech tonight is supposed to be about. He's supposed to say that tonight. Yeah. I'm going to cut the deficit by half in the next four years. Right. All right. The one piece of that I will be listening for more than anything else is don't tell me how you're going to cut the deficit by raising taxes, by doing other things like that.
Tell me how you're going to be able to cut government spending. Yes. And show me how you're going to be able to run a leaner, more efficient government than what is being done right now. You do that. The American people, Wall Street will line up behind him and support him 1,000%. That sure would be great. Wouldn't it be? Sounds good. But, again, listen. Hey, you know, yeah, we've lost. We're back to. This is kind of interesting. After the attacks of September 11th, the Dow was a little bit above 7,000. That's where we are now. We're at 7,000 now. So we're back to 9-11 days. We went from there to 14,000 in short order. In just a few years, we went from 7,000 to 14,000. And guess what? We could do it again. We could do it again. I like your attitude towards you. I like what you're saying. I think we will. I agree we will. And you know what's going to happen? When the market turns around, it has an immediate recovery. We gain back about a third of what we've lost in very short order, a couple of months maybe. Then we plateau and kind of gradually climb for about another third. And then in about a year, we'd hit another big rocket move up to get us back up to $14,000. Most people miss the first third of that. You know, you're never going to pick up the...
Well, certainly you're never going to pick up the Union to review them, but you're never going to pick up any other paper and read the headlines going to say rally starts tomorrow. OK, so you got to be in this game and you got to sweat this baby out. And if you can do that, you're going to be OK. Yeah. So it's a great time to buy. Listen, man, you look at stuff out there. I look at companies out there that are just ridiculously cheap. And and rather than pick them, just bet on the ranch, man. Do the S&P 500 index stuff like that. Don't try to pick stocks. In a market like this, you'll get hurt. But there's some great opportunities out there. There you go. I got a lot of rain damage in at my house the last storm last week, and it's been going crazy. Guy comes out and rips out my drywall, and he goes, hey, you're the guy on the Mikey show. So it's good to be back with you guys. Always enjoy our visit. Thank you, George. You're looking good. Anytime, guys. Anytime. You're looking good. Thank you. Thank you. That's awesome. She's a big fan. We got you. 570-1053. And our text address. And I'm going to say text address because I got a text message from P1 Beans that says, Mikey, can you please say text address instead of text number? Oh, gosh. It's confusing. And I think maybe he's right. I mean, it is a text address that you can put in your cell phone.
And the text address is textmikey at gmail.com. And we'll get it as a text. And you can send it as a text from your cell phone, which makes it very convenient for you. So anyway, Obama tonight. This is interesting. Nikki Hilton made a citizen's arrest. Outside an IHOP. Stop making stuff up. Is that weird? You've never done that? You don't do that every day? I have my top five times I've done that. Please, Mike. I think the bigger story is Nikki Hilsen was at an IHOP. That's true. Breaking news. What is this about, Sky? Well, we're just finding out the details now, but I guess this went down over the weekend. Of course, she was outside a West Hollywood IHOP at about 4.30 in the morning on Saturday. Oh, yes. It's the only time you're ever at IHOP. Of course. It's the best time to go. Between 2 and 4 a.m. Of course it is. So she was there, and I guess she was outside, and according to her statement and according to witnesses, this guy walked up behind her and just shoved her in the back.
Oh, wow. What? Yeah, for no apparent reason, according to her and witnesses. And so there was a police officer inside dining in the IHOP as well at 430 in the morning on Saturday and heard this big commotion start outside because Nikki Hilton was out there screaming citizens arrest. Oh, wow. Yeah, she performed a citizen's arrest. She is screaming citizen's arrest? Oh, that's so awesome. Citizen's arrest! Yeah, and so I guess this guy, once the police officer came outside, tried to tell the police officer that he was Nikki Hilton's boyfriend, and they were just having an argument. But he's some 50-year-old dude that Nikki Hilton's never met before in her life. And so he was taken to the West Hollywood Police Station and booked on misdemeanor battery charges. He was released later that afternoon and then has a court date in late April. I heard. Maybe one of the stranger stories I've heard. P1 James is on the line. James, are you there? Yes, sir. What's going on, James?
Oh, no. When I want to meet new people, this may sound stupid, I play World of Warcraft because I'm not really having face time with people. These are two addictive things that he suggests doing. I want to let Skye know she's not the only one out there. Thank you. Hey, listen, for those of you that are wondering what this is about, Skye yesterday was talking to us about how it's very difficult for her to meet new people. In fact, she went to her first neighborhood. pizza party this last weekend and had to have a big bottle of wine. Yes. It was for a six-year-old. That's right. And so she had to have a glass of wine before she went. And then so to try to help her out, we sent her upstairs with a cell phone to meet and introduce herself to someone new that she didn't know. And so she did. And it turns out
they'd met before. And then Skye was struggling with, do I write this person an email? Do I not write this person an email? I wrote. You did. And the subject line was, I'm the worst. And you know what's weird about all that? Is I got home yesterday and I'm hanging out with the boo, my husband, and he goes, you really don't like meeting new people? He had no idea. And he goes, but you're so good with people. Like, you're always, like, the spokesperson for our family. Like, when we meet new people, you're always the sociable one. I'm like, well, because I have to be. Like, it doesn't mean just because I'm, like, good at it once I'm in action doesn't mean I'm enjoying myself or that, like, I would choose to be in that situation, you know? This brings up an interesting point, Eddie. Yeah. And the reason it does is because my wife says the same thing that Skye says. She's very uncomfortable meeting new people. And when I observe her, it's kind of similar. She actually does this very well. Talks to people, new people, talks to them. In fact, I've even seen her start conversations. She didn't even have to be the one that they're talking to. I've seen her start it. And so it is an interesting observation. Yeah, yeah. So he had like no clue. And I'm like, yeah, I'm like, if I had the choice, yeah, I'd rather just, you know, chill at home with you and the cats, you know.
I'm like, why do you think I drank a glass of wine at 4 o'clock, you know, on Saturday? He's like, oh. Your work husband knows this about you. Oh, yeah. He's, you know, because whenever we do, like, appearances and P1 parties, he's always the one trying to drag me up to meet people and do announcements and stuff. Yeah, he knows. Eddie is Skye's work husband. Oh, yeah. And he knows this about her. P1 Tom? Yes, sir. Good morning, Mike and Michelle. Good morning, Tom. Hey, I just want to let everybody know if you go to hangintherejack.com and turn off a little coupon, you get free tacos today. Holy cow. I was wondering what the deal was with those commercials. Holy cow. Hangintherejack.com and you can get free tacos from what? Taco Bell? No. No, sir. Jack in the Box. Jack in the Box. Have you seen the commercials, Mike? I have not. It's like Jack, and he's in a hospital bed, and they don't know if he's going to live or not, and it's, like, really scary. Oh, yeah, they started that on the Super Bowl, right? And then it goes, bam, you know, hangonthejack.com or whatever the website is. Yeah, I just went to hangintheirjack.com. Now, I hope that this is not a, you know, like, I hope this is real, and it's sanctioned by Jack in the Box.
It is real. It says click here for coupon. And when you click there, it's... On the top right side of the page. It's not taking me anywhere. It says to continue following the story, click here and be sure to sign up to get email notifications of future free offers. There's a whole thing going on they're doing. I ain't doing that. No, dude, it's with the commercials. It's been sucking me in these commercials because I think Jack's a goner. And then it goes, hangintherejack.com. But it doesn't say if Jack's going to live or not. When we all want to know, you know, is he going to hang in there? I love the guy. Do you see under all of that, you know, on the right-hand side of the page, it says follow Jack's status on Twitter. Find us on Facebook. That's fantastic. They're smart. Yeah, they're good. That's crazy. Well, have you done it, P1 Tom? No, sir. And I put off the coupons, and I was handing them to homeless people. And honestly, if you go to IHOP.com, you get free pancakes today. So Nikki Hilton might have been getting free pancakes. I heard about that, too, this morning on the radio. IHOP.com? Yes. Free pancakes, dude. Free pancakes? Yeah. And the money, you can donate as much as you want, and the money goes to a fund. I want to say, like, Children's Miracle or Miracle Work, but I don't know for sure.
It's free pancakes, and you can just donate if you want. Hey, P1 Tom. Yes, sir. Question. Yes. With the jack-in-the-box deal. Yes, sir. The two free tacos. Are you saying that you were able to print out various coupons for two free tacos and not just one? Yes, sir. I hit print, and I hit 10, and then I just, like, there's always people at the... Like at the off ramps, and I just give them to those people. That's kind of neat. It's all day long. I don't know if you can do that, though. What do you mean? Well, sometimes, you know, when you print out a coupon, they won't let you print out multiple. Yeah, it'll be like a scan or a barcode. You can print them, but they may not work. Oh, I see what you're saying. Oh, that is a cruel joke. Oh, dude, they may not be working then, bro. I think they work, because the one I print out, you guys can try it. It didn't have a barcode. It just said 571 was like a serial number. But if you don't use it at the same visit to the store, you know, I don't know. Be careful, man, because I would hate to have you giving those to homeless people and they're not working. Yeah. You know what I mean? I should just give them a dollar. But you got a good heart, dude. You got a good heart, and that's what matters, and that's cool. Well, it's National Pancake Day. That's why we're getting some free pancakes. For real? Yeah. That's what it says. Are you on IHOP, bro? I can't get on the site. It's all jammed up. I know. It is slow.
Probably because every morning DJ in America is talking about this, including us. Okay, so I'm on IHOP.com. I'm on the very front page. And, Eddie, what do I do? I have no idea. I'm waiting for the load still. Here we go. IHOP National Pancake Day Celebration. Click here. Okay, did that. It's now rerouting me to IHOP. PancakeDay.com. Fantastic. What does it say there? And yeah, Ashley was right. It mentions the Children's Miracle Network. And we'll have to click on that to find out more about what the Children's Miracle Network is. But it says right there, flip for free pancakes. Bless you, Rob. Join IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 24th. That's today from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We'll give you one free short stack. Oh. Three of our famous buttermilk pancakes. The best. All we ask is that you consider making a donation to support local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network or other local charities. Done and done. Yeah. Let's just go right now. Shall we? Sweet.
Is that acceptable? Sweet. That's pretty cool. And today is Fat Tuesday, so how about that for pancakes? Perfect. Do it up. It all fits in very nicely. So there's a couple of things we're giving you that you didn't know about before. Wow, that's good stuff. Oh, my gosh. I'm looking up at my screen, and somebody else is giving something free away today. What the heck is going on? What do we got? Keep line four. Let's keep line four. Make sure that that is correct. And when we come back, I'll tell you about another place that's delicious that's giving away free stuff. And also, Octomom and her mom faced off for the first time, and we have the audio of it. Crazy. And so we'll give you the audio of the two of them talking. It's so interesting. Frank Caliendo and the stand-up spotlight. So the other free place giving away food when we come back. And also that audio next. Every impression seems to have a signature impression. For me, it's John Madden. I love it when he explains things that you already know. He'll say things like, you need to see. Because seeing is important. And if you can't see, then you don't know what you're looking at. His partner is Al Michaels, a guy who's known for the phrase, do you believe in miracles? Yes.
Which I say whenever the entire audience gets that. Here's a guy who doesn't say it that often. He was the greatest play-by-play man of all time. But John Madden has turned him into the and-by-and man. Because and is the only word you can say after Madden states the obvious. You have to say it over and over again until Madden's finally done. Madden will say something like, Hey, that guy right there, that guy's got mud on his jersey. And now there's less mud on the field. And now he's got to get a clean jersey. And I don't know, Pat never did this crap to me. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. Who says the dollar isn't strong these days? At Papa John's, a dollar goes further than ever on Mondays and Tuesdays because they're dollar days. That's right. Buy any Papa John's pizza at the regular price and get a second pizza of equal or lesser value for only one dollar. You heard right.
delicious piping hot Papa John's pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays for only $1. Just call any of the 28 countywide Papa John's and ask for Papa's Monday, Tuesday dollar days special. A buck never went so far. Better ingredients, better pizza. That's Papa John's. Hey, let me talk to you a second about Amco because Amco is the company that you need to remember the next time you see the check engine light on in your car. The next time you see the check engine light or the next time that you need an oil change. Or the next time that you need a tune-up. That's the cool thing about Amco. They are most known for the transmissions. They're most known as being the world's best transmission place. But they do complete car care. Now, stop by maybe on your lunch break today. Like, for instance, if you have a check engine light on, stop off on your lunch break today. Drop off your car at Amco. and they are going to tell you why that light is on for free, and if anything additional is required in terms of diagnosis, you mention to them, hey, I'm a P1, I heard this on the Mikey Show, and you're going to get 10% off on all the repairs. So you're ahead of the game. You're not getting that from the dealership of your car. You're not getting that. They're going to do repairs, and they're not going to give you the 10% off because you're a P1. The other thing about the dealership is that a lot of times they want to fix stuff.

Brought to you by Island Records. Let me tell you, Eddie went into sleep train, and he's going to get all dialed in. Yeah, I cannot wait, man. I have had the same mattress for easily 15 years. Are you serious? Yeah, 15 years. And so, you know, it's still in great shape. Shockingly, that thing is still in great shape. No. But it's time. It's time for a change. The wife, I have a very firm mattress and she hates it. Yeah. She's ready for a more softer one. Yeah. And I kind of am too. Like I've had back problems, you know, for a long time. So I'm definitely ready for a change too. So it's going to be really cool. Sky, firm mattress for you or soft mattress? Medium. Yes. Right in the middle. Yeah. Eddie likes a firm mattress. Wow. You are going to be so happy when you get on that thing. Well, what's cool is that for people like us who have the different styles, they have what's called a sleep number mattress where you actually get to dial up the firmness on your side. That's cool. So it's really cool.
Hey, if you've bought a mattress from Sleep Train and you really love the experience, please call us, will you? At 570-1053. But Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. Now, back to Mikey. When I was a kid, no supervision. I just, I wasn't supervised and I was free to watch whatever I wanted. Eddie. Yes, Mike, I have a gambling problem. No. Sky. The number one hip-hop song in the country. Eddie, take a guess who that is. Holy cow. T.I. That's a great guess. Great. T.I. and Jamie Foxx. Oh, wow. It's the number one hip-hop song in the country. T.I. and Jamie Foxx. Crazy, right? How about that? Yeah. Okay. We are getting so many calls, so many text messages about the free food and all this stuff. Nice. There's all kinds of places that are doing free stuff today. I wonder why. I don't know, man. I don't know. Because it's National Pancake Day, right? Which is cool.
Great. It's Fat Tuesday. Maybe that's why? The restaurants and the fat, maybe that's it? Fat Tuesday? Let's see. P1 Jawa. Yeah. What is the other restaurant that is doing some kind of a giveaway thing? Yeah, well, I know Eddie likes his sandwich the way he likes his sandwich. That is true. That is a fact. It's a true fact. I'm pretty sure that Quiznos is giving away a million free subs today. Wow. Yeah, he's right. I went on Quiznos' website, If you click on it, they're at like 219,000 subs. If you register your name, I guess, you know, I didn't put my information in, but it says register your name and stuff and you can get a free sub. See, I don't like registering. Yeah. That always scares me. I don't like putting my. I don't want a bunch of emails or like jokes into my house. You know what I mean? Yeah, but still, for a free say on me. It may be worth it. It might be worth it. Toasted. It's a toasted sub. It's delicious. I'd rather have the pancakes.
Yeah? If you had to take a choice, Eddie, between a couple of tacos from Jack in the Box, a free short stack, or a free Sammy, free sandwich. I'm going pancakes. You're going pancakes? Yeah, pancakes may be my favorite food. Yeah. Wow, that's a statement. They're pretty awesome, right? No. Come on, dude. They can taste good. Paw chops taste good. That's right. What's your problem with pancakes, Rob? I don't know. You're not in? I'm not a big fan of them. Never happened. You need to be deported. That's right. Something's wrong with you. Get him out. Hey, you guys, check this out. See you later. Check this out and tell me what you think. Okay, so there is a website called RadarOnline.com. I don't know what they are. Never heard of them in my life. But they got the Octomom, Nadia Solomon. Not to be confused with Saruman from The Lord of the Rings. Oh, yes. That's what I thought you were talking about. I can use those all the time. Because at first you pictured the guy with the white beard, right? And you were like, what is this guy up to now? Babies? What kind of magic is that? Exactly. The lobe thing? No, Nadia Solomon is the Octomom. And you've heard that her mom don't agree with what she's up to, right? Right.
Take a listen. When you already have six beautiful children. You need to learn to let go. But you need to learn. You need to learn to let go. So I will never understand. You never will. I never. I will never understand your inflexibility and your inability. Inflexibility. Yes. To be able to accept and let go. Learn to let go. Yes. That is the biggest challenge I've had in my life. But if I could totally let go. These are my. Now, Nadia, you realize that if your mom learns to let go. she won't be letting you stay with her and helping you with those eight kids. She won't kick you out of the house. You can't have it both ways. Thank you, Mike. You just can't. I mean, I love the attitude of just let it go. Let it go. What's the big deal? But it affects that woman's life. She's got to help take care of these kids. Yeah, she can. I mean, she can let go. That means you don't get the help, though, lady. Good luck. You know? Grandchildren, I would. But, you know, it's very difficult. No, no, no. Not now. Now you have eight more? Excuse me. Not now. Learn to let go of what I chose to do. You didn't accept it. Move forward. Right. Well, like Eddie said, what you chose to do involves her directly. Right. Because she's helping. Nice attitude. Yeah. That's so gross. She's babysitting. She's doing, you know, mom is actively involved.
Stop stagnating and being fixated. I'm not at that place. You're not at that place yet. I planned on one growing at the most chew. So if that had happened. Now what she's talking about is that she did in vitro. And she planned, according to her, she planned on one of the embryos taking and growing. And what happened was. All eight. All eight. Well, there were six implanted and two of them split into twins. For real? Yeah. So two of them are identical twins? I don't know if they're identical or not. Yeah, that's the deal. I think that's what I read. Yeah. And when they split... Oh, that's true. When they split, it's identical. Yeah, because she had six embryos implanted. But still, I mean, your odds are more than just having one take. Please. Well, and it's a strange way to think about it because you have to think to yourself, if you... If you implant 10, isn't there a chance that 10 could take? Definitely. I mean, don't. What if half? Yeah. I mean, that's, you know.
Yeah, because it's not like her problem, her fertility problem was implantation. Her fertility problem was actually getting pregnant, having the sperm eat the eggs. So once you go through in vitro, she's never had problems with in vitro as far as I've known. It's always been successful. So for her to think that is loony tunes. She did it the first time with six kids, right? Six kids? Well, she's got a total of 14 kids. Right. And so the first time, was it one by one? Yeah, it wasn't all six at once. It was like one by one, right? And the reason she was so extreme at the end is because she had had all these eggs and the fertility doctor was going to get rid of them. And so she was like, well, you can't throw them away. Those are mine. Put them all. Whatever you got, put them all in me at once and we'll see what happens. And there were six left over and she took them all. Now, for her first six kids, they were... in vitro each time, Skye? Yes, all of her babies are from in vitro. Which is just incredible. She gets in vitro, has a baby. Gets in vitro, has a baby. It does this six times. The cost alone is crazy. It's so expensive. That's what trips me out. Again, if you're just tuning in, this is Octomom and her mom discussing. This doesn't happen.
That doesn't happen. This never, ever happened. Well, something, something. Is that true, you think? That this has never happened where they have implanted multiple embryos and they've become children? It sounds like that's what she's saying. I think she's saying for all of them to take and then for two of them to split. I think that's pretty rare for, you know, them to then go on and split for six to turn into eight is pretty rare. But if she was 100% before. You know, for one, for one, for one, for one. Yeah, but I think she'd at least be guaranteed, you know, at least five babies out of that. Yeah, so, like, you were 100% before. How do you, like, of course this was going to happen. Yeah. You had a perfect record. Yeah. Was happening there because, you know, in the first place, you should have considered your other six children. Okay, but I still was going to, I'm not going to destroy the embryos, period. Done, done, done. It's already done. Wow. Okay, so question, Nadia. Because you see what she's saying. Yeah. You see what Nadia's saying. I was not going to destroy the embryos, which, by the way, I get that. Sure. I wouldn't want to destroy embryos either. My question is, well, why are we making them? Yeah. And why don't you donate them then?
How many women don't have viable eggs out there that are paying tens of thousands of dollars for other women's eggs? They're not going to go in the trash can, lady. Listen, I get that. I get what you're saying. But what we're dealing with is a woman who clearly is not on board with doing that. She's not on board with giving them away. This is a woman whose psychology is they're mine. I want them. Okay, so my question is, well, what are you making them for then? And does it, like, when do you pay? That's what I don't get. Like, because they have these embryos, right? So is she paying before that's even done? To have that done? Yeah. To have them made into viable embryos? Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm trying to understand. Like, if the money's already paid for all this, I get it. She's like, well, I just paid, you know, $100,000 for all this done. Right, right, right. It's probably cost with storage and with... But each individual one, do you think that she goes... I would just imagine you can't just get that done for free and then you pay when they're implanted. Oh, every step it's a cost. So there was cost to create the embryos, cost to store the embryos, and then cost to implant them. Question. Mike in the back. I don't know the answer to this. I probably do. Rob's an expert. Does it go down like this? Does it go down like this?
She goes to the fertility doctor and she says, see how many eggs I have. And he goes, all right, we just collected them. Turns out we just counted. You have eight. Is that how it? And she says at that point, OK, fertilize all of them. No, no, no. What happened was the doctor told her, you know, we can't like either the eggs are going bad or something was happening. I don't remember what the deal was. Fertilized eggs? Yeah, like he had to get rid of them is what I remember. Okay, yeah, so not fertilized eggs, eggs. He had in his possession eight... Of her eggs. Yeah, I'm not sure. Or six, sorry. Yeah, because I wasn't sure. You know, I don't know exactly how that goes if you store the eggs or if you store embryos. I'm assuming you would store the eggs. Yeah. And then when you're ready, have a meat. But to even have the eggs harvested, if that's what you're asking, she would have to go through rounds of fertility drugs. Because a normal woman produces one, maybe two eggs a month.
So to harvest them, she would have to jack up her body on fertility drugs. And then so she would produce a whole dozen eggs. And then they'd go in and take them all. And then store them. What we can assume is that what she ended up with was six. And I guess it's just kind of a question to me of like. Did you get these six over time? Like he got one one month and then the next month he harvested another and then another. Or like Sky said, she was taking these drugs that had her produce six. And at one time he gathered six. And then later down the road said, hey, I got to get rid of these. You know, we've been storing them for. And she said, fertilize them all. Because at that point, the argument that she's having with her mom, I can see where her mom would be like, sweetheart. Right. Why were you gathering together? Yeah. Taking into account that you won't get rid of them, why were you gathering them? You already have six kids. Why are you gathering all these eggs? Right. Why? And if that's the case, Nadia, why didn't you gather 400 eggs? But you can't go back and ring a bell. You can't go back and alter the past. No, no, no. They're human. I don't know. I've seen that movie Back to the Future. That's true. If you get the DeLorean update, you can do anything. Ring a bell.
That's right. That are growing, that are related to you, that are healthy, strong, and almost all four pounds. They are frozen. That's the difference. Boy, this is the main question in my head. Are we talking eggs or are we talking an embryo? Are we talking eggs or are we talking an embryo? That's what I want to know. Because Nadia is talking about it like it's a human being. Which, if that's the case, you go, Nadia, you're the one that got it there. And you could have chosen not to fertilize it. So what were we fertilizing it for? They're frozen. And you did not have to do anything. They were lives. The only thing you can do is frozen embryos. But you either use them or destroy them. You use them or you destroy them. Her mom is saying, you decided to fertilize them. And she's not even listening to her mom. But Nadia keeps referring to them as frozen embryos.
And let's listen to that last part one more time. Destroy an embryo. You don't have to use an embryo. Legally, you don't have to use an embryo. I understand. But you so that we're all on the same page. An embryo is a fertilized egg that's going to grow into a baby. Right. Right. And I think her mom's point is. What are you fertilizing them for? Yeah, but what it sounds like to me from what Nadia is saying and the mom is saying is that they were fertilized a while back. It's not like she fertilized them, you know, the day they were planted. They were fertilized and then frozen, and that's why she didn't want to get rid of them because to her, the life had already started. So then the next question is, sweetheart, what were you doing that for back in the day? Exactly. What were you fertilizing those for back in the day? I just want to hear that last part one more time. Ring a bell. You can't go back and alter the past. No, no, no. You're talking about whatever you did is past. But they're human beings that are growing, that are related to you, that are healthy, strong, and almost all four pounds. They are frozen. That's the difference. They're frozen right now. They were frozen. And you did not have to do anything. They were lives. And if you wanted to. The only thing you can do is frozen embryos. Use them or destroy them. But you either use them or destroy them. You decided. You use them or you destroy them.
Yeah, I think you're right. It was a decision a while back to take these eggs and fertilize them. Like Eddie's saying, you already got a half dozen at home. Why are you fertilizing them? You don't get a discount for a full dozen, lady. That camera guy must be like, holy cow. There's more, by the way. You guys want to hear more of it? I would like to ask her, you know, you have six kids already. You had six, I'm guessing six, embryos fertilized. So were you planning on having 12 kids? Right. That's a great question. Because you don't want to destroy the embryos. Right. Yeah. You wanted 12 kids? Yeah, that was your original intention. Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. That's crazy. I was hearing her just say, too, real quick, like, she was like, well, what's done is done, and the past is the past, and what's happened is what's happened, but now they're frozen and they're human. So I was almost hearing that she was saying, like,
Maybe back in the day, she made that mistake to fertilize him, but now she's got to be accountable and have the babies. Like, that was her defense. Well, that would be one thing. Yeah. I mean, if she said it was a mistake, I shouldn't have done it. Boy, it was a mistake. But, you know, I made the mistake. Now I've got to live with it. If that were the case, I wouldn't like it. But, you know, I would be like, well, you know, she is doing the best with, she's making the best of her mistake. And I don't agree with that. You would say destroy them, right? No, the best of her mistake would be to donate them. Donate them. Absolutely. I think you're right. If you break a couple of eggs, you make an omelet. That's right, Eddie. Oh, my gosh. Nobody even said that. I've heard that somewhere before. Hello. That is juicy, Eddie. That's what I'm saying. You are good. That is so weird, dude. Good. I got more of this. Oh, my God. I got more of this. I don't know if I can handle more of that. Dude. I love it. I got more of it. It's ridiculous. Psycho. And so when we come back, a couple things. Okay. Man, we got a full show. It's like we don't have enough time to fit what we have. Okay. I have more of this stuff, okay? I was about to say nonsense, but I don't think it is nonsense. I think it's interesting. It's crazy. I think it's interesting. A study between a parent and a kid, 5701053, text Mikey at gmail.com.
So I got more of that. And Eddie, with what's going on in the sports there today, it's like we can do an hour chewing on this. First of all, a huge NFL star has asked for and received their release. And it's going to shock you when I tell you who it is. This huge NFL star has said, I want to be done with this team. And the team says, OK, it's going to shock you when you find out who it is. And then also, T.O. could be released by the Cowboys. Hey, Charger fans. No. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. Wide receiver wouldn't hurt, right? No, no, no. A wide receiver of this caliber? I can't even speak it. Charger fans. Why are you acting like this? Charger fans. Come on. You want T.O.? Okay, let's discuss. Let's discuss. We'll be back. that you can put into your cell phone, is textmikey at gmail.com. So before we left, we were giving you some audio of the Octomom talking to her mom. And it was very sensational audio. And we actually have a little bit more of that. You use them or you destroy them. Do you want to know how they destroy them? No, no, no. Hold on. They allow them to live. They allow the cells to live. Let me finish. And then they kill them. Let me finish. No, I won't. Now wait. Now if you're just tuning in, again, got to remind you, Nadia is making the argument. Octomom is making the argument to her mom. And you can hear her stressing to her mom. Mom, how could you possibly destroy these lives? These are humans. These are human beings. Not only human beings. Mom, they're your grandchildren. My children. She's making a point of going over this again and again and again. But what is important to point out is that Nadia herself is responsible for creating it. Which is the mom's argument. Why did you even do that? You already have six kids. Why on earth would you fertilize these eggs? You're being irresponsible. But Nadia, each time that argument is made, Nadia, it's as if she doesn't hear it. Exactly.
Option. You didn't have to have them destroyed. You didn't have to have them. The other option is give them up for adoption. There's so many, so many couples. Give up the embryos for adoption. Well, have them thawed, whatever they do, and have them adopted when there are little humans. Who would do that? Who would do that? A selfless person. Someone with compassion and love. I guess if you were selfless. What kind of monster would do that? I wouldn't personally do that. I couldn't even fathom the idea of my own children out in the world. You have mentioned this to me a long time ago that you would never have been able to do that knowing for the rest of your life that you're going to have your own children out in the world and you'd never know them. This is an argument that we're hearing framed. As if it were not in vitro childbirth. Right. In vitro induced. Yeah, yeah. She's framing it like I got pregnant. Yeah. What am I supposed to do? Yeah. And she's also referring to it like as it's like her only child. Yeah.
Telling her mom, oh, you said you'd never be able to do that. Well, first of all, I got, yeah, I had one kid, you know, I got pregnant and I didn't go in and take an egg or six or six and with purpose and forethought have them, you know, fertilized. Knowing well that I believe that I don't want to give him up for adoption and that I don't believe in, you know, getting rid of him. Like knowing well that that's how I feel. Yeah. I could personally do it. I would never. Now, I want to point something out, by the way. My wife has a very different thought on this whole thing that maybe some other people share as well. We were talking about it the other night. My wife feels sorry for Nadia. My wife has this tremendous deal of compassion for Nadia because she doesn't feel that Nadia is right up here. And she feels that we're all making comments about somebody that isn't operating with a full deck.
having this breakdown on the side of the road and she said you seem to have a compassion for that don't you have and get Rebecca on the phone because I don't want to misquote and there are other people that may feel this way I don't know she said don't you have where is your compassion for Octomom and I said it's an interesting question I said here's where I think I am with it and it's tough because I fall into the same category as Octomom in some ways I said with mel gibson and she even brought up the chris brown thing with you know remember i said that i had compassion for the fact that chris brown came from an abusive family yeah someone being a victim of their environment and they were repeating the behavior and although i thought it was monstrous what he did what i really thought was monstrous was the his father sort of teaching this and it being passed down generation generation
And I was bringing up, how can we stop that? How can we stop that chain? How can we stop that deal? And Rebecca was saying, don't you have compassion for somebody that isn't operating on a full deck? Because she said, you know, when Mel Gibson did his thing, he wasn't operating on a full deck, right? I said, well, I said, I think that the difference for me was that in those cases, you see people say, I messed up here. I shouldn't have done this. I said, and with Octomom, I see sort of a sort of indignant, you know, digging my heels in and saying, this isn't wrong. I haven't done anything wrong. And then very quickly reminded myself that I many times say, oh, I've done something wrong. I've done something wrong. And then I proceed to continue to do it wrong. But anyway.
Hey, honey, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. So are you hearing the conversations between Octomom and her mom? Yeah. What's your take? Well, I mean, I think for sure, just like anybody, I feel like that they're responsible, you know? What is he saying? I want to talk to him. She wants to talk to him. She wants to talk to his daddy. I guess he really has an opinion about this. He really does. Well, you're going to have to tell me again because I couldn't hear what you were saying. Try it one more time. I just said I think I feel like anybody. I feel like it's irresponsible. I certainly feel like it's not a decision that I would make. He has been talking like a madman. That's crazy. Like he went from, you know, to just, he's talking like a madman. Time's up by 13. Yeah. Nice. So, you know, I mean, it's certainly not a decision that I would ever make. Yeah. I think the hard time that I have, and I think my point in mentioning it to you at all was just that I feel like the media, you know, and you're included in that. I just feel like.
In general, they're just absolutely harpooning this woman. I think there's an anger out there that's associated with this story because she's responsible for these lives. Right. I understand that just like all of you do. I really do. Trust me. I'm a mother. I know how much care taking care of one child requires. And so, you know, like I said, I don't agree with her choices and I don't feel that they're in the best interest of her children. But at the same time, I just I feel like, you know, I just have a hard time with with how much of a villain she's being made out to be. And I feel like this is a woman who clearly is, you know, maybe not quite right in her thinking. And I feel like regardless of what got her to this point in terms of now she has 14 kids, regardless of what got her there, that is the reality. And what maybe we could be doing instead is trying to figure out ways to support her in raising the kids. Oh, but babe, now that means that we are going to fix her mistake? Well, listen, I'm not saying fixing her mistake necessarily, but like...
What's wrong with a little bit of compassion? Nothing is ever wrong with compassion, I don't feel. But I also feel like she has brought this upon herself. Oh, I agree. And I feel that we, in the media, have the right to discuss it and kind of give our opinions. And our opinions are that we're kind of angry about it. We're kind of mad. And where's the line between compassion and condoning? I understand that, too. And I just, at the end of the day, I don't. Personally, personally, I want to try to not judge her because I don't know like what led to this for her. Hey, babe, it's that it's that whole thing, though, that I was saying about. And listen, you know me. I don't want to get into a judge thing, honestly, because I'm the I'm the worst of I'm the worst. OK, so I don't want to get into a judge thing. I think that where I'm having this fundamental problem. is where there is no accountability. What we're not hearing is, hey, this was a mistake. Who can't have compassion for that? Which, and I agree with you also with that, and I wish that that were different. I just feel like it's almost kind of more evidence.
That she's not right. That something might not be right. Got it. She also, because I've known people that, you know, they'll say something, they want to stick to their guns so bad that they feel like if, you know, they do admit it was a mistake, all of a sudden things are going to come crashing. It's going to unravel. Yeah, yeah. And, you know, things might get taken away from her. Right. Maybe she even feels like the kids, you know, the custody of the kids would be at risk. Could be. So maybe she's just, you know, sticking to her guns because, you know, this is the safest thing for her family. Could be. It's possible. I just, you know, I don't know. It's just a different point of view. You know, I'm certainly not saying that, you know, anybody's wrong for having their opinions about her by any means. And for the most part, I agree with you. Do you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't agree that it was responsible. you know, that the kids are probably not the priority in this situation. And that pains me more than I could even express in words. But at the same time, I just feel like the situation is what it is. And so, you know, now what? We can all sit around and talk about how horrible she is. Hey, honey, I like that part, the now what part. The part that's been troubling is that the now what each day is a continuation.
of the choice yeah you know she keeps putting herself out there too you know it's difficult but um you know who who knows what's going on in terms of people paying her and i don't know it's just it stinks and and like i said it's just a different perspective you know i i try i i don't know i just i have some compassion for her yeah i feel like she is a human being And she is a mother. And she made choices that I would never make. But, you know, she made them nonetheless. And I make choices. And I make choices every day that I shouldn't make. Again and again and again. Right. And so, you know. Like what really makes her different? What makes her different, you know, than me? Because her choices are, you know, bigger. I don't know. Who knows? I don't know. Maybe because they affect kids, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Definitely, definitely makes. makes for an argument of this is a bigger, you know, bad choice. But, you know, I don't know, like I said. All right, honey. Okay, love you. Love you. Interesting conversation. Yeah. And where do you fall on it? Now. Oh, man. Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Strap yourselves in. Now, we told you a big NFL star has asked and has been granted his release, and this is kind of crazy.
Because he's kind of known for being part of this organization and has only been in this organization. It is the Colts wide receiver, Marvin Harrison. Can you believe that? Yeah. They asked him to take a big pay cut. He said no. And then he asked for his release, and they said, you got it, buddy. Dude. And so Marvin Harrison no longer going to be a Colt. It means he's a free agent, and he can sign with anybody. That is so crazy to me. And what I would really want to know, because you've got to figure these people that make the decisions. They know something about something. Something's made them feel like this is okay. They can do this. They can manage whatever. They got Reggie Wayne. I wonder, how does Peyton Manning, you know, where's Peyton Manning with this? Well, Marvin's been his guy for years. I mean, they're one of the most prolific, you know, tandems in NFL history. So, I mean, it's got to hurt. But, I mean, it happens. This is the NFL. I mean, you know, no guy really stays with the same team his entire career.
Brett Favre. You know, so, I mean, it's just going to be weird seeing Marvin Harrison in another uniform. So bizarre, dude. It's going to happen, so there you go. The Ram Mountain Rebound is going to spend some time in jail. Charles Barkley pleaded guilty to his DUI charge and is going to serve five days in jail. Five days, that's it. Five days. That's a cakewalk for him. You didn't spend any days in jail. Yeah, that was my first offense, man. Isn't it Charles Barkley's first offense? I get another one, dude. It happened in Arizona. That's why. Arizona's like gnarly. Tougher. Yeah, dude. I get another one. I got like six months over my head. Well, yeah, but I think this is his first offense. All right. So why are you upset? Five days is nothing. I'm not upset. You're very upset, lady. You want a hug? Yeah. You need a hug? What do you understand? You just call me lady. But Rob, do you understand the point that you didn't do any days? So I don't understand why you're upset about... I spent a whole 24 hours there. Okay, so he's getting four more days than you. Oh, who cares? That's nothing. It's Charles Barkley. I don't understand. He's getting more of a punishment than you are, Rob. So why are you mad at that? You're acting like he's getting less of a punishment. I'm not mad at that. I'm just saying that's a cakewalk. They're going to have him in some nice cell all by himself.
I think that's a cakewalk. Rob just found out that there's DirecTV in the cell that he's in. That would be interesting. Three square meals a day? Come on, man. All right, let's move on. Obviously, this is a hard issue for Rob. The New Jersey Nets' Devin Harris, he hit a half-court shot to win the game last night in Philadelphia. Let's go to the tape. He did. He's going to pull his groin. And a half court to win the game. That's it. Half court. Come on. Paul Pierce can do that. Oh, jeez. Unbelievable. I love it. The Vikings, they're trying to get better at the quarterback position. They're close to a deal with the Texans for Sage Rosenfels. I don't know how that's going to make them better. But they apparently want Sage Rosenfels. So there you go. And this is a crazy story. The Cowboys.
There's much discussion, heated discussion, at the ranch going on right now, whether or not they're going to release T.O. or not. I guess Jerry Jones is kind of saying, no, I don't want to. But his son, who is part of the organization, I guess, really wants to get rid of T.O. And so they're having a debate of whether or not they're going to get rid of him. Phenomenal football player, right, Eddie? Absolutely. Hall of Famer. Statistically, season to season. How about now? Is he still a viable football player today? Viable, yes. Superstar, probably not. Yeah, wasn't last year for him really off? He had a very down year. He dropped quite a few passes. He didn't have one of those superstar T.O. years. Yeah, that's all I remember them talking about. Statistically, any better than Vincent Jackson, our number one wide receiver, statistically. Yes. He is? Yes. Hmm. All right, so it begs a question. As a Charger fan, but what? Not that much, though? Maybe by not that much? I think the deal is that T.O. is on the downside of his career, whereas Vincent Jackson is on the upside of his career. So would you take him for a season, Charger fan? Would you take him for a season? I think maybe a better comparison would be Chris Chambers. Would you take Chris Chambers, who's a veteran guy?
Who, you know, would you take him over T.O.? Because Vincent Jackson, I wouldn't want to get rid of Vincent Jackson. Yeah. Personally. Don't get rid of Chambers. Don't get rid of Chambers. So that means, Eddie. I already don't want to get rid of Chambers. Chambers is great. Chambers is your number two guy? That's a debate. You know, I would probably say Chambers is one. Vincent Jackson is two. Okay. So would you be willing to give up your number one receiver here in San Diego, Chris Chambers? No way, no how, no way, no how. For T.O. Now, Ashley, why are you saying that? I feel that T.O.'s got just like a very bad vibe about him, and I feel like he brings bad energy wherever he goes. And I really feel like if he came to the Chargers, I think that... Especially this next year, we have got to be in sync as a team, loving each other and kicking butt because that's how we're going to win. And T.O. could come in and mess everything up with his bad attitude and his issues. And I think that's the last thing we need right now for our team to be number one. Because you always know that there is always a team willing to do it. Sure. There's always a team willing to do it. The Raiders. The Raiders. Vincent Jackson last year had 59 catches for 1,098 yards.
and seven touchdowns. Let's compare Chris Chambers. Well, Chris Chambers was injured most of last year, so he doesn't have nearly the numbers that Vincent Jackson did. So if you were asking me about who's number one, Vincent Jackson last year was the number one. But coming into this next season, Chris Chambers will be the Chargers' number one guy. He'll be the number one receiver. Yeah. I mean, I think they want Vincent Jackson to be the number one, but it just depends whether or not he steps up. Yeah. So last year's numbers, Vincent Jackson, 59. For 1,098, seven touchdowns. T.O., 69 balls. For 1,052 yards. But he caught 10 touchdowns. It's pretty close. It's pretty close. Statistically. Well, if it's that close statistically and you weigh in T.O., there's no way in the world. My thought process. See, now my thought process is double T.O.'s numbers. I'm still not willing to do it. Double those numbers and I'm still not willing to do it because of who he is. It's the what if factor. Like what if he has a breakdown? What if something, you know what I mean? Something happens. Do you trade any of that for the, I mean, you know, partially T.O.'s numbers were down because Tony Romo was injured last year. They had some trouble offensively. But we know what T.O. is able to do on the football field. Do you trade some of that?
for the possibility of having a superstar wide receiver like T.O. next to a Vincent Jackson. 570-1053. 570-1053 is our phone number. Not to mention you have the number one tight end in football in Antonio Gates. And so if you have to cover T.O., double team T.O., then that means Antonio Gates is open. If you have to double team Antonio Gates, that means T.O. is open. Just a thought. Just a thought. 570-1053. He is crazy, though. Well, yeah. I don't care. I don't know anything about football, but if it's any sport, I'm talking any sport, I don't care how good the player is. If they bring bad mojo to the team, get out. I don't care. I'm a huge Giants fan. Hated Barry Bonds. Because he brought bad mojo to the team. But what if he gets us to a championship? I don't care how many home runs he gets. But what if he gets you to a championship? You would rather not have a championship? Yeah, and be able to look up to my team and know that my team is mentally healthy. This text message from P1 Vodka says, you guys can have T.O.
He'd fit in perfectly with your dysfunctional DUIs, steroided out players. Oh, my gosh. And your shaking chihuahua coach. Oh, my gosh. How about that one? Red sign Raider fan. Slap your own face, vodka. P1 Steiner says. No, no, no, no. Sorry. That's about Charles Barkley. Well, Rob, you know, being a Red Sox fan, what you had to deal with Manny Ramirez. who was also crazy. I mean, you were willing to accept the craziness because he helped you win a world championship, correct? Absolutely. And some of it was endearing. It was. I mean, you watch some of the stuff he did and you're like... There is a difference between, you know, somebody like Manny in the middle of a game... Stepping into the green monster on the field to urinate. Right. That's hilarious. No, no, no, no. Which is kind of cute. No, hold on. Which is kind of cute. Manny would refuse to play. He would be games where he would refuse to play. Yeah, he had knee problems. And he would fake injuries. Let's not say he faked them, but we don't know. But Eddie, wouldn't he make up for it with cute things like urinating inside the green monster during the middle of a game? That's cute, but.
It's adorable. It's so adorable. He tickled me. He'd be a cutoff man to other outfielders where that doesn't really happen. Stop plays. That's not good. Not hustle. There was a lot of stuff, but I mean. That guy could hit like the Dickens. Yeah. And NCO, he can still bring it. He can still bring it, right? I think so. Hey, P1 Antonio says, I'll take him as a Charger fan. Antonio, you there? Yeah, my team's Antoine. How you guys doing? Antoine. What's up, Antoine? What's up, man? I think we absolutely bring T.O. to San Diego. I think we've been doing the same thing every year and coming up short. I think T.O. is a game changer. I would love to have him in the Chargers uniform. And think what he would think what T.O. would do. Like Eddie said, think what T.O. would do freeing up Antonio Gates. Don't get in my hat, man. Absolutely. They're going to have to double team T.O. Well, what can you do? How do you deal with that? How do you deal with it? It's impossible. It's incredible. He's excited. Anton's excited just thinking about the possibility. Let me throw another thing out there for you. A name that's completely opposite of off-field issues, kind of. Marvin Harrison, who's now free agent. Would you take Marvin Harrison, who's clearly on the downside of his career, or would you take T.O.? You could sign either one of those guys. Marvin Harrison, who the past two seasons has been, you know,
Injured and hasn't had very good seasons. Or T.O. Well, if we're looking at character, Marvin Harrison's the guy. If we're looking at performance, is Marvin Harrison the guy? Anymore? I don't know. Hey, listen. The Colts are... I think that... Isn't it Ron Wolfe is the GM over there? He's smart, man. Guy drafts. He's smart. No, it's not Ron Wolfe. It's Polian. Yeah, Bill Polian. He's a smart guy. They know what they're doing. You've got to think if they were willing to let go of him, they knew something. That's clear Marvin Harrison is, you know, he's not doing very good. Two guys being let go for very different reasons. Very much so. Boy, P1 Antoine got me thinking. I don't like how he got me thinking. Eddie's got me thinking too because Eddie's, we just go, man, so you got a healthy LT. You got Antonio Gates on one side. Yeah.
And you're keeping Vincent Jackson. You probably have to release Chris Chambers if you sign. Sure. It's got Vincent Jackson and T.O. First of all, you've got a basketball team at the wide receiver spot with T.O., Vincent Jackson, and Antonio Gates. Try covering any one of those guys in the end zone. Like suddenly it starts sounding like Fitzgerald and Bolden in Arizona. That formula seemed to work pretty good. Getting me excited. That formula seemed to work pretty good. Fitzgerald. I'm excited. Oh, man. Let's see. P1 Larry Chambers is on the line. Hi, Larry. Hi. What's up? You know where you get rid of Chambers? The guy's a class act. Yeah? He is. So you say keep him because he's a class act. Yeah, he's got a lot of... Do we want to be the classiest team in the NFL or world champions? Classiest. Did you hear that, P1 Larry? Did you hear that question that Eddie asked? No, I didn't. Do you want to be the classiest team in the NFL or world champions? The Red Sox are both, so I just had it good.
Don't do stupid stuff. You've got to answer Eddie's question, Larry. It's one or the other. You've got to answer Eddie's question. The question is, do you want to be the classiest team in the NFL, or do you want to be a world champion? No, winning is the main thing. There you go. P1 Ponce. What's up, guys? How you doing? Good, man. What did you want to say? First of all, I don't think we should bring him here, but I think... Over, if you look at T.O.'s career, Jeff Garcia was a pansy. Couldn't handle him. I don't know if he can nab runs when he's scared. Tony Romo's more interested in being on the cover of the Inquirer that Sports Illustrated. If any quarterback in the league could handle T.O., I think Phillip Rivers would tell him to shut up and know his role. I think that would make the Chargers a lot better. That would cause such friction in the locker room and such poison. on the field that it would be like, T.O., you have to coddle the guy and you have to make him feel like you want him. Yeah, and what about when they're just running the ball the whole game and he doesn't catch one pass? That's bad. Then what happens? Do you remember the best friend ordeal that went on last year with T.O.? The best friend. I'm talking about fully grown NFL players talking about he's Tony Romo's best friends with some other dude. Jason Witten.
Who cares? It's a bunch of sixth graders on the field. Please. This text message says, Mikey, he is instant offense. It's true. Do you remember when Phillip Rivers was a distraction on the field with his antics? They still got it done. That's P1 Squid. Couldn't imagine T.O. getting jealous of anyone on the charges. Yeah, he'd be the biggest name on the team, right? Absolutely. So, uh, Matt Lauer got crank called. Sorry. And I have the audio of it. Can't you just have a cock-a-doodle-doo? The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. That's a good one.
Text messages. Text Mikey at gmail.com. Text Mikey at gmail.com. Mikey, don't forget, Anquan Bolden wants out of Arizona. If he doesn't resign, how about him as a pick? Please. I'd take Anquan Bolden over just about anybody. I'd take Anquan Bolden over any receiver we have on the team right now. Yeah. Dude. He's in the middle of the prime of his career. I mean, he's... He's money. Do you think that the Chargers will get into this free agency, you know? No, not at all. Really? In fact, they have to restructure contracts, including LTs, to get, you know, under the cap. Mikey, Marvin Harrison would be a no-risk player, probably cheaper, and still got something in the tank, and would still free up gates. Sign Marvin Harrison. That's P13. I wonder how cheap he would come. Not very. No. And also, you have to think, you know, was Marvin Harrison a product of his system? Yeah. You know, how good is Marvin Harrison going to be outside of that Indianapolis Colts offense? Uh-huh. So he would be a risk to me. Text Mikey at gmail.com. This text says, Mikey, how would Rivers handle T.O. mouthing at him? Probably going to blows. Just say no to T.O. It's P.O. and Boos.
Yeah, bad chemistry, man. I agree with people when they say that he wouldn't put up with it. I don't think he'd put up with it either. But that just means fights. Yeah, that means T.O. You don't want to have an unhappy T.O. An unhappy T.O., you're done. Your team is done. You're done. You're done. We have Mardi Gras tickets coming up in the 8 o'clock hour. So if you want Mardi Gras tickets, make sure that you are listening. For tonight. For tonight. Ooh, mama. Ooh, mama. There it is. Let's see what we got for you. Oh, okay. You want to hear this prank call? Yeah. Apparently, Meredith Vieira, you know, she does the morning show with Matt Lauer on the Today Show. And Meredith Vieira was on Ellen's show and they called Matt. That's awesome. Now, check this out. Apparently, they taped the Ellen show. Okay, and they tape it, and they tape a bunch of episodes. They'll tape a couple episodes back back. It sounds like they were taping this about 6 o'clock at night on the West Coast because they tape in Burbank. And it was like 9 o'clock at night out in New York City. What time is it there? It's late. 9.30? It's Meredith, Matt. I'm sorry. That's all right, sweetie. What's up? You know, I'm in California. I'm so embarrassed. I hate to call you. I really apologize. I went to a restaurant. What's the matter?
It's okay. I mean, I'm fine, but I went to a restaurant, and I'm going to pay my bill, and I have that stupid new Amex card, you know, that they gave us, and they're not honoring it. For some reason, it's not going through, and that's all I have. And I have my phone, and they said, I showed them the card, and I said, Meredith Vieira from Today Show, and they said, no, it's Katie Couric and Matt Lauer and Al Roker, and I said, no, no, no, I work on this. They said, what? They don't know who I am. And I am so embarrassed. And I don't ever tell me. Do you have a license? All I bought was my corporate card and my phone. I was just going out for a bite because I've got an early shoot tomorrow. So I was just exhausted. And the person who owns this restaurant, who's sort of a jerk, but she said she knows, you know, she loves Matt Lauer. So would you, if I just put you on the phone, please, would you just vouch for me? Oh, my God. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I can't believe you're doing this. I'm sorry. I apologize. Hold on. Hold on. Thank you, Matt. Thank you. Hold on. Who's this? Miss Plata. Hi, this is Matt Lauer. It's a Matt Lauer. I told you. It's a Matt Lauer. How are you? Matt Lauer. I see. Are you standing next to the woman who just gave you the phone? The lady, see? Just move away for a couple, just a couple of steps away for one second if you can. Just make some excuse. Okay, okay, okay, okay. I have a way. Yes.
Hey, this really is Matt Lauer, but this woman is calling me claiming she's Meredith, who I work with. And I have to be honest with you, I don't think it's her. And I don't want to make trouble out there, but if I were you, I mean, she says she doesn't have a credit card or a license or anything like that. If I would stall her and I would call the police. I don't believe. The lady wanted to talk to you. Again, nothing wrong with American Express. Hold this. Matt? Hello? Matt? Yeah. I hate you. What point did you know? Meredith, can I ask you a question? Yeah. Do you think you're going to pull one over on me? He's got a point. Set this up with me. What? A double whammy. The joke was on Meredith Vieira. Oh, she missed that, Ellen. The joke was on Meredith Vieira. Man. That's great. That's great. Wowza. It's a double whammy. You got them both. Let's see. Hey, is everybody okay with the death of socks? I beg your pardon. Socks of cat. Everybody all right? I was a little sad yesterday. Are you guys holding up? I don't even remember what you were talking about. Socks of cat, man. You know. Socks the cat. Remind me again who that is. Remember the first cat? First cat.
First cat ever? No. Yeah, was the first cat ever born? Wow. No. No, it was the Clinton's cat. Do you see any dinosaurs? From the White House, the first cat. Remember? Oh, it died? It died. Socks died, 18 years old, this little black and white kid cat. No, I don't care. Well, if it looked like anything like your socks from yesterday, it must be out of its misery. Oh. Hi-oh. I mean, you just made that joke for yourself. No one knows about my socks. If they watch the Ashley After Show, they know about your socks. Skye had some holes in her socks. I had one hole, and it wasn't even a full hole. It's like, why are you wearing an ankle wristband? Like, you should talk. An ankle wristband. Look at your shirt today. Like, you should talk. This thing's perfect. It's just got some bleach stains. That's hideous. I don't know which is worse. You're wearing a rag. He's wearing a t-shirt from WAAF Radio in Boston, and it's got, like, bleach stains on it. Everywhere. Everywhere. I don't know what happened. Rob, what would it take for you? It's like the new tie-dye. What would it take for you? A new one. A new one of these shirts. I think somebody should order one for him.
Yeah, the news was, if you didn't hear, Socks the cat passed away, and everybody's very upset about it. Lived a good life, though. 18 years old was, you know, pretty good. The cat didn't even live with the Clintons. Yeah, it's kind of weird. The Clinton family, they do things a little differently. They had Socks in the White House live with them, but then once they left the White House in 2001, Socks went and lived with Bill's secretary and stayed with her until Socks passed. Yeah, we missed a cat. Let me tell you something. Hey, Bill. Hey, Bill. Let me tell you something, y'all. Yeah? Yeah? I'm so upset about Sock. Are you really? I'm really upset, Eddie. What? I didn't think you even cared, to be honest with you. No, listen, man. He was ready for the big time, that cat, man. Socks was. Yeah, Socks was. Oh, is that right?
Yeah, he's going to be on Celebrity Apprentice. Socks the cat is going to be on Celebrity Apprentice. I didn't hear that. And I think he actually would have won it. Really? If we're being honest. Well, I mean, he's a cat. Yeah, it's kind of weird. Well, he at least would have beaten Melissa Rivers. That's probably true. That's probably true. Damn you, cruel world. All right, Bill. We get what you're doing. Taking socks. Okay. You guys know that Socks was also pitching a new project to CBS. I didn't know that. It's the truth. Really? Yes, the show idea was called CSI. Well, that's been done. It's not what you think. What do you mean then? It was Kat's Special Investigations. That sounds so stupid. Oh, I like that. And Socks was going to be the lead investigator in roadkill accidents. Is that right? That sounds... Socks would have got to the bottom of it. Well, he would have, but now it's all just a pipe dream because of what happened. It's all up in smoke, Scott. Darn it. It's not going to happen. Wow. Sometimes, you know, Socks and I, I love that cat. Yeah, you do. And sometimes, Socks and I, we play this little game of cat and mouse. Oh, really? Fun. Yeah, and she'd go running in the bedroom, and I'd scurry off after her. She'd be giggling, and I'd tickle her.
You're talking about the cat? No, no, I'm talking about our secretary, Betty Curry. Okay, wait a minute. Bill, you need to be careful. You're on the air. Oh, no, y'all. It's hilarious. Hillary knew about it. Really? Oh, jeez. It was all in good fun. Yeah, exactly. It was all in good fun. You guys, you know, I was hanging out with Hillary last night. Were you? And she was so sad about socks and everything, and I just blew it, you guys. What happened? I was like, man, everyone around here is so sad. It's like you can swing a dead cat around here and not hit somebody with a sad face. Bad time for that state. Yeah, and she was like, no. Phil, not very sensitive, my man. Yeah. Listen, let me tell you something, man. Yes? I'm going to miss that cat mostly because the lady that we gave him to, the secretary. Right. Yeah, she was, I don't know if I ever told you this, but that lady we gave him to was... She was hot because she'd make me crepes every time I'd stop by, man. Really? Every time I used to stop by with that secretary, she'd make me some crepes. Stop by where? Well, when I was stopped by her office, I would come into the office and she would say, oh, look, it's Bill. I'm going to make him some crepes because it's his favorite meal. In the office? Her home office, right. That's a little different. Kind of inappropriate. I would just love a bowl.
Of women and crepes right now. Okay. Hit the spot. Hit the spot. You shouldn't say that. You shouldn't say that. What? Sky. What? I'm going to be honest with you, all right? Yeah? I stopped liking that cat halfway through my first turn. Oh, I knew it. I knew it. It's true. The truth comes down. I knew it. It's the truth. Socks sounds great. I miss that cat. What? No, it doesn't. Socks don't sound great. It doesn't sound great. Well, yeah. I sound like a great cat. No. I'm going to be honest with you, Sky. Why? What happened? I miss that cat about as much as Hillrod misses being a woman. You did. And that's A.O. saying. You can't steal that. I just stole it. No. I do not miss relations with that cat. Wait, that's not a thing. I don't mean like that. Knowing the cat. No, Bill. Knowing the cat. You're a pervert. You're a whole bunch of perverts. You're the pervert, bro. Listen, old Slick Willie got a new pet anyway. What's that? I got a snake. It's a python. For real, I'm being serious. I don't doubt it. In an aquarium and the whole deal. I don't really care for the thing at all. I just like asking college chicks if they want to see it. Over at SDSU. I love that place.
You love that place. It's a great place, man. Is that right? Yeah, you sing out there? Yeah, I do. Okay. You know, Hillary was real upset when I told her that Sox had passed away, and it really surprises me, because I didn't think that robots were capable of such emotions. Nailed it, Bill. It's the truth, Eddie. At first, I was like, can I get you an iron Kleenex, Mr. Roboto? I was like, oh, no, tears are going to rust your face. She's a human. Yes. All right, one more, Sky, and then I got to go, all right? Okay. Listen, me and Sox used to be real close. Is that right? Yes. I remember we used to play this game that Sox used to love. Just love it, yeah. I would take love notes that I would get from the White House interns, and I'd put them in a big old pile on the floor in the Oval Office.
And Socks would just run around shredding them up and everything. Okay. Using them as litter. Okay. Making sure nobody could ever read them again. You should announce that. Yeah. And it was all love notes from in town. Awesome. The Mikey Show. That's the ultimate hang zone. Oh, rock. For five days in March, right here in San Diego, behind every pitch. I wish this person would go away and never be
on television or any form of media ever, ever, ever again. Okay. I can't stand her. Rachel Ray. Rachel Ray. I cannot stand Rachel Ray. I hate her voice. I hate her fake attitude. I know she's mean to people off set. I just, everything, I know it for a fact. I know it. Eddie talked me out of Rachel Ray. Yeah. Wow. Really? Yeah, he talked me out of her. Yeah, years ago, because I used to like her and he talked me out of it. Yeah. She is the most annoying person on the planet. And what is the matter with her voice? Is she gargling razor blades? I think she actually had something done to fix it, right? Because there was something wrong with it. She talks like a drunken sailor. Get out of here. I hear her and I cringe. I see her and I barf. You see her and you barf. I don't believe that. I don't believe that's true. It is a fact. That is pretty dramatic. It is a fact. Okay. Skye. Well, I have three. You have three? Jeez, you got a lot of issues. Oh, my gosh. None of them are going to be popular. Really? Oh, no. Oh, really? Randy, Paula, and Simon. Yuck, yuck, yuck. The first one is Angelina Jolie. Get out of here with that. Of course. And it upsets me because I think she makes great movies, but I want to boycott her movies because I am out on her. Why? First of all.
Brad and Jen were already on the outs when the movie was being filmed. She did nothing wrong. You're blaming her for something that she did nothing wrong. I had problems with her prior to that. Making out with her brother, carrying blood around her neck. She is the kind of chick you would never leave your man alone with that chick. You would never leave your man alone with her. Angie's great. Don't call her that. Why? She's a whore. No! Eddie, do you believe these things that you're saying? 100%. Okay, then we got to talk. You're lying. He's lying. I'm not lying. You just gave me the look that you're lying. Okay, then let's discuss. Okay. What's the problem? First of all, what is this business about... Business. What is this business you're giving me about Brad was out of this relationship? That's what Brad said. Come on. You don't believe Brad Pitt? I believe Jennifer Aniston, America's Sweetheart. Wow, she's horrible. Thank you. I have a problem with Jennifer Aniston. No, you're just saying that. You're just saying that to hurt me. Have I not ever? I've always said that. You're saying that to hurt me. I'm team Brangelina. You're on the worst team. I'm on the winning team, baby. That is awesome. And it upsets me because I know Angelina claims to be a do-gooder and pretends to do good things. She's adopted half the nation.
it as a farce. She does it as a farce because she's so guilty inside for all the creepy weird crap she does. Oh, please. She's covering up. Is this inner or outer sky? These are all good topics. So I got a lot of problems with that Angelina Jolie. She's gorgeous. I'm not saying she's not. Freakishly gorgeous. But that's part of the reason I hate her. Who else do you have an issue with? Oh, see. I knew it. Tattiness, Mike. It's the truth, right? Yes. It's part of it. Okay. Now, these people, I dislike them for some reason. Like, if they do a movie together, I want to die. The Olsen twins. And separately, I still am out because they're the same person. And that is De Niro and Pacino. Oh. You don't like De Niro and Pacino? Yes, and if they do a movie together... They've only done two. It upsets me. They've only done two. Well, two is a lot. You've never even seen Heat. Too many, Eddie. I saw Heat, and I couldn't figure it out because they're the same person. Wow.
If you go back in time and watch some great movies. For real. If there's a movie with either of them in it, I don't want to see it. Really? Because I'm already out. Because I'm already out. I had no idea. Godfather, Godfather 2, two of the greatest films ever made. I'm already out. Good fellas. Raising Bull. I haven't seen it. Don't want to see it. I'm good. Man, that is nuts. You're the worst. Why am I the worst? You're truly the worst. P1 Nelson. Hey, what's up? You have an issue with who? Rosie O'Donnell. That's right, Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Why? Why do you have an issue with her? Oh, man. She's super obnoxious. She's super opinionated. And just all that shenanigans that she had to say about 9-11 just made me flip out. I just drowned her in a sea of coosh balls. I think you're right. I'm out of her. I think he's right. P1 paraphernalia. Hey, how's it going, Mikey? What up? Hey, I just wanted to call and say Judge Judy, man. Judge Judy is one of the most annoying persons on the face of this earth. I don't know how she has her own TV show. Want to hear the most annoying sound in the world? Judge Judy. I can see that. I don't see a lot of Judge Judy, so I'm not sure what she's all about. But he's saying she's annoying. Thank you, brother. Yeah, thanks, guys. P1 Dizzy. Go Spencer Pratt.
Unlike you. Let me tell you something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not familiar with him, but I'm annoyed because I hear it too much. Yeah, don't. Everybody hates him. Don't call him a celebrity. I would love to put his face to my knee. Oh, wow. He's awful. That's an MMA comment. Thank you, Busy. P1 Jackie is in complete agreement with Sky. Oh, yeah. Sky is right on this one. She just needs to go away. Angelina. Yes. Why? She's done nothing wrong. In fact, she's done nothing but good. She's trying to be this great person, but she doesn't steal somebody else's husband. I mean, come on. Thank you. You get it, ma'am. You know what's up. Eddie. Yes, Mike. Oh, never. She's overcompensating. It's so obvious. For what? For being the most gorgeous person on the planet. She may be Aphrodite. Eddie, she was with a married man. Well, technically, yes, but, Mike, they were separated at the time, according to Brad Pitt, who I believe. Yeah, according to him. Like, he's going to scream from the rooftops, I cheated on my wife. We were together. Everybody loves Jen Aniston. We were together. Like, Jennifer Aniston isn't going to be like.
Oh, yeah. They cheated on me. Poor me. Her heart is broken. Of course, her heart is broken. Why doesn't she just be honest and be like, our marriage was over? She was trying to make it work, bro. He obviously was already checked out. I'm going on and hooking up with Vince Vaughn, all right? That's me. Like years later. Like years later. All right? I got a bad attitude. Everybody knows this. She does not. She's America's sweetheart. Ugh. Oh. Police. How dare you? No. Police. Team Brangelina. Ew. P1 Chris. Wow. Hey, what's up? What's up? Matt Damon. No. No. There's nothing wrong with that man. He's just, he's old. It's time for him to retire. He's old? He's 35. What? Yeah, I thought he was a pretty young guy. Matt Damon. Oh, Matt. No, I reject your answer. Matt. I'm sorry. You can't have a problem with Matt Damon. No, please. Have you seen The Bourne Identity? Please. P1 Mark. Hey, what's up? What's up? Hey, I cannot stand Donald Trump. I agree. I agree. Yeah. I could see people having an issue with Donald Trump. For sure. Well, he does, like, this thing with his lips when he talks. Yeah. And, like, perks him out when he talks. Mm-hmm.
Like, when he did that Christmas commercial for Macy's, and he, like, it just... So you hate his lips. Yes. Hey, does it bother you that he is... He doesn't like anybody. You know, he's always critical. Yeah, you know, he's kind of a little bit of an a-hole. A little bit, yep. I feel ya. So you're out on that, too? Yeah. All right. The one thing that really gets me is he looks like he's trying to spit every time he talks. You're really into that. Oh, man. All right, dude. Thanks. No problem. P1, P-Base. Hey, good morning. I love you guys, but I hate Dana Carvey. Really? Yeah, he hasn't been around for a while. Out of all the people. He's great in Wayne's world. How do you hate?
How do you hate the schwing? Well, I mean, he was good at the schwing. How do you hate that? If you need to spew, spew in this. How do you hate that? That's the best. When he does that foxy lady dance in Wayne's World, you want to punch him in the face. You don't get humor. You know who I hate, guys? Martin Short. Okay, now let me tell you. I'll tell you what I have a problem with. I have a problem with a lot of Adam Sandler's. characters all being the same. Well, yeah. I have an issue with that. I don't disagree with that. Well, some people really like Adam Sandler movies, but I'm one of these guys, I'm like, I think I've seen it, you know? I liked Adam Sandler movies, you know, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, those ones. The ones he's been putting out lately are horrendous. Did you see Zohan? I will never see it. Well, then you're missing out. Just based on the trailer alone, I will never see that stupid. Just because you can't slap someone with your foot. Don't get all jealous. Zohan. Just because you hate Angelina. Oh, she's the worst. Skye hates her. What if Angelina did a movie with Adam Sandler? Would you watch it? That would happen. What would you do then, Skye? Wow, you really got me. I'd have to skip it. Oh. Sorry. 570-1053 is our number. Look at me. I can curve a bullet. That's awesome. Our text address. Our text address is textmikey at gmail.com.
This text says, Mikey, I agree with Skeeter. Brad and Jen's relationship wasn't broken when Angie entered the picture, but it was fractured. What? Wait. Did you hear that? Yes, I did. There's a double dose there. I agree with that. That's right. All right. Go team Brangelina. That's P1. No. Adrian Oso. The worst team. Ashley, do you agree with that? T.O. is on their team. It wasn't broken, then it was fractured. Okay. P1LT. There's a difference. Hello? Go ahead, LT. You're on the air. Yeah, I'd like to say Oprah Winfrey. Amen, brother. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. The most pretentious, pompous, over-the-top person in the world. Oh, come on, Sky. You got to agree with that. She's tough to watch sometimes. You know who else I can't stand? Meryl Streep. I'm not kidding. She's so pretentious. Oh, I can't stand her. I read this interview in Entertainment Weekly with her. I almost threw up. You throw up a lot. I do. I have a problem with it. It might be acid reflux. Maybe. I should probably go to the doctor. It may be that you like more people than you realize. It turns out I love Ben Affleck. All these years. I thought, but then I realized. Let's see. We're getting a text message.
somebody doesn't care for Mario Lopez. Oh, I agree with that. I support that. Yeah, he's greasy. Oh, wow. How has nobody said Kirsten Dunst yet? Because she's great. How has nobody said that yet? Because that is your issue. She is the worst. That's a personal issue. I'll never forget when I saw her on Ellen, and Ellen was trying to have so much fun with her because she's the best, and Kirsten Dunst was being such a brat. She was being a bee, and I didn't like it. And then... I missed that. She's a terrible actress to do. I think I just found the WMDs right there. Holy cow. We're all friends here. She's awful. P1 Audria. P1 Audria, who do you have an issue with? Okay, I'm going to make every guy in San Diego upset right now. I mean, possibly across the U.S., but I have to say it. Jim Rome. Oh, come on. What's your problem? He is so opinionated and everything he said just must be true. That is annoying. If he does that, then I'm out on him too. He does do that. That's annoying. Oh, really? Hey, what's your problem with me? Why don't you tell me what your problem is with me? Is it because I'm a man? You're opinionated and you're short. It's because I'm a man? A man.
Oh, man. Look at this. We're going to get a text message about this girl right now. It says, I can't believe she doesn't like me. That's amazing. Let me ask you a question. Is it because of my perfectly manicured face? Oh, that's so weird. She's great. She's a woman. Racker. All right. I like Jim Rome. I think he's funny. The girl's great. Some girls don't like him, though. They don't get it. They don't understand. Come on. You got to listen, Sky. You probably changed your tune, lady. I think I'm good. I think you like those male-dominated programs. Clearly. P1 Jackie Treehorn's on the line, ladies and gentlemen. Finally. I think Gloria Estefan's vocal cords need to completely fall off. I don't like Gloria Estefan? Two seconds of a song and I'm like freaking out. Get on your feet. Stop it. Oh, man. It cracks me up when people have, like, the obscure one, you know? Gloria Estefan. Gloria Estefan. A little out there. Dana Carvey. Dana Carvey. Rob and his Jimmy Fallon hatred. Yeah. No reason. Like, no reason. Whatever. It's the strangest thing. Let's see. There's a new study. And this new study has something to say about kids.
They did this study of kids watching R-rated movies, and they came up with this thing of what happens with kids that watch R-rated movies, so we'll tell you about it next. Also, coming up next, we're going to be playing a new game called Sissy Soundtracks. Now, we need to clear the phone lines, and we need to start taking calls, because Sissy Soundtracks works with guys, okay? And here's how it works. Eddie came up with this, and I laughed so hard with the idea, tears were coming out of my eyes. Here's how Sissy Soundtracks works. Dudes call. I'm going to play you a song from a sissy movie. And if you can tell me what movie it's from, you win. Sissy Soundtracks. Oh, easy. Not as easy as you think. I played the song from the movie. You got to tell me what sissy movie it came from. And that's next. Cock-a-doodle-doo? That's supposed to get me out of bed? It cockadoodle don't work for me. Know what does? Subway flatbread omelet sandwiches. Western and cheese and double bacon and cheese, each on warm and tasty flatbread. Got a rooster that says that? I'll listen. Try the Subway flatbread omelet sandwiches. It's like, I don't know, some kind of a study that they did on kids. And it was kids watching R-rated movies, right, Skye? Yep. What did they say about it? Well, the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Yeah, UMass. Yeah. UMass Med. Anything they say is correct. I couldn't get in there. No, no, no, I'm serious. No, one time I broke it. Yeah, we all believed you when you said it. I tried to get my kidney. Yeah. You guys, how can I convince you that I'm telling you the truth? I wasn't accepted there. Yeah, we got it. So, yeah, they found that kids who watch R-rated movies are more likely to be smokers. Yeah. Now, they feel that it could be one of two things. One, they feel it could be the fact that these kids aren't supervised enough. Yeah.
And that's why they're watching R-rated movies and that's why they're getting their hands on smoke. Okay. And then the other hand is they're thinking because they're watching R-rated movies, they think smoking is more acceptable. They're seeing more smoking in the movies. Mike, you were a kid and you watched R-rated movies. Is that why you smoked? Yeah. I think it is. I genuinely, honestly think it is. In fact, I used to try to roll. I used to try to make my own cigarettes out of oregano. Dried oregano. Is that true? Yeah, it's true. And I used to do it with just like paper, you know, like writing paper, you know? Like I would take it and I would, you know, cut it in the shape of what I thought was like a, you know, a cigarette length. And then I would put oregano in there and it was terrible. It was absolutely terrible, yeah. I don't know nothing about that. Okay, Rob. Rob sold it to him. Yeah, Rob was my dealer. This is the good stuff. You know what I should mention real quick, Mike? Because we talked about at the very opening of the break is all the free food today. Because you guys just got some free tacos from Jack in the Box. Yeah, we didn't mention it. People might not know. By the way, let me just say this. When Flounder made this open, he sent me an email and it said, thank you. I have now produced the gayest open I've ever produced in my life. Quite an honor. All right, you got to let the whole clip play, okay? So you can't say anything until the clip is done. All right. And then when the clip is done, all you have to do to win is tell me, what movie was that from? Are you ready? Yes, I am. Here we go. That is a sissy soundtrack. 40 charts for the 47th week in a row. P1 Philip Rivers Believer, what movie was that from? I don't know. That sounds like Grease, maybe? Oh, dude. That is incorrect. It's in the title. Dude. That was endless love, bro. Endless love. Go rent it. It's great. Just gorgeous. How does it compare to the notebook, Eddie? That could have been a legitimate question. Eddie is staring at Sky right now. Now he's blinking fast and turning his head. That's never a good sign. I got this one calling me Skeeter. I got you talking about the notebook. I don't need this today. But you said that was your nickname. One person called me that.
That's weird. P1 Caesar. Yes. Are you ready to play a little sissy soundtrack? Love your salad. Yes, I am, bro. Okay. Come on. Now, I'm going to play the song, let the whole clip play, and then tell me what movie did that come from. Are you ready? Absolutely. Here we go. Seeing the scene right now, right? P1 Caesar, what movie was that from? Hey, Mikey, you're dangerous, man. You're dangerous. That's taking my breath away from Top Gun. You got it. That is correct. Good job. You're like, dude. Well done, sir. Hey, you guys want to play some volleyball later? There was nothing gay about that scene. Yeah, we got to get all tanning lotion. One more game, Mav. One more game. No, really, I got to go. Oh, yeah, yeah. Come on, Mav, please. One more game, Mav. P1.
Bradifer? Yeah. P1 Bradifer. Your name must be Brad. Your girlfriend's name must be Jennifer. No, I know. I just want to mess with Eddie because I'm all team Bradifer. Got it. Got it, dude. Got it. All right. You know how... Give me an easy one, man. Those two were so easy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Well, this one, it just depends on, you know, how you roll. But here is your song. Let the whole clip play and then tell me what movie it's from. Are you ready? Yeah. We gave these clips long, didn't we? We really have to endure these, dude. We really have to endure this. I love it. P1 Bradafer, what movie is that from? Yeah, I want to say my first instinct is Pretty Woman. You are correct. Oh, really? It's just a guess. It's just a guess. It's just a guess. I don't know. I think. I'm going to say pretty woman. I own it on Blu-ray. That's right. Well, you were right the first time, and you know that. And you know that. It was pretty woman. Yes, it was. My wife is going to kill me. That's right. So is your husband. Hang on the line. Hang on the line. And what did he win? What are we giving away? The Mardi Gras passes for tonight. Very nice. That'll be fun. All right. Up next. Up next is P1 Daniel.
Hey, what's going on? Daniel, how you doing? I'm excellent. Do you know these sissy movies? I do, definitely. I just got engaged, so my knowledge on chick flicks is just up a bit. All right, cool. Yeah, I'm sure it's her. Uh-huh, yeah, that's the only reason that you're going to get any of these. That's cool, that's cool. Of course, of course. All right, dude, this next song was featured in a sissy movie. A chick flick. And all you need to do to win is tell me what movie it was in. Let the whole clip play before you give me an answer. Here we go. Game. It's fun. I am such a sissy. You know what movie that's from? I absolutely do. I absolutely do. Here, you want to jump in my arms? Okay. P1, Daniel, what movie? Gosh, you know what? I am drawn up like I heard that song a million times. That's right. Gosh, dang. I don't know. I'm going to have to say, and I know it's the wrong answer. I'm just going to say the bodyguard. Oh, dude. That is incorrect. That is from an officer and a gentleman. Let me put my hat on your head. That's right. There you go, buddy. I got no place else to go. Wow. Sorry, dude. You guys don't. How dare you. How dare you. He knows him good. That was Mike. It was Miss Mike. He knows him good. I had the Wikipedia. Yes.
P1 Cheeseball. Cheeseball, you ready to play? Yes, sir. All right, I'm going to give you the song. It was featured in a sissy movie. Uh-huh. Just let the whole thing play, and then tell me what movie it was from. You ready? All right, sure. Here we go. P1 Cheeseball, what movie was that from? Man, dude, I'm so disappointed in myself. Not a clue. Not even a guess, like Brokeback Mountain? Mail something? Mail something? Dude, that was from Footloose, bro. Footloose. That's right. Beautiful. Mike Reno and Ed Wilson. That's right. I just, I wasn't supervised and I was free to watch whatever I wanted. Eddie. Yes, Mike, I have a gambling problem. No, Eddie. Sky. I really loved it. Boston Rob. Catch, come on, Mike. And Ash. I have three. Now, with What's Up in Your World, this is the Mikey Show 360. So, before we went to break, I said Sean Penn was addressing the fact that he didn't thank his wife. He didn't think his wife during the Oscars when he won Best Actor. And Sky and Eddie thought it was unusual. Well, you know, when you're showing reaction shots of the wife crying for you, you know, it's kind of weird that you don't acknowledge. You know, everybody does. So when you don't, it's kind of like jarring. Yeah, you're the worst. We have a very stark disagreement on this.
I think that if you thank your spouse, it's fantastic. It's certainly wonderful. But if you don't thank your spouse, I don't see a wrong in it. Why do you hate your wife? I don't. I never knew. I thought you loved her. In fact, if my wife were giving an acceptance speech for something and she didn't mention me, I wouldn't think, oh man, she should have mentioned me. But... Eddie's like, that's weird. Eddie, you would expect a thank you, right? Grounds for divorce. That is a true statement. Well, they asked Sean, why did you not thank your wife? You know, you didn't thank your lovely wife up there when you gave a speech. Did you blank out? She knows. Not enough time. She knows. She knows. She knows how much you appreciate her. She knows. Does she know, though? I don't know. Why can't you even say it? Does she know? You know what, Sean Penn? You're a douchebag. Thank you. You are a douchebag. Thank you. You know, I'm going to put away the feelings about not thinking, but that response right there is so douchey. Yeah. She knows. She knows. She knows. Why don't I just say, yeah, we discussed it beforehand, and we both came to the agreement that this is how it was going to go down. She knows. She knows. She knows. She knows. And you can hear Robin write.
I have to say all three names. Robin Wright Penn. She shot a president. Robin Wright Penn. You can hear her in the background saying, we discussed it before. She knows. She knows. She knows. She knows. Now they're really trying to make a point of it. I want to punch him. That's an odd conversation. Yeah. Hey, hon, what do you think? Should I thank you? I'm not going to thank you, babe, just so you know. Yeah. Oh, she knows. She knows. She knows. Babe. You know I appreciate you, right? Honey, what do you think about me thanking you tonight? No, no, no, no. I don't think you have enough time. It's not the right tone. Well, and I like how, you know, they're saying there's not enough time, but he had enough time in his speech to thank his best friend. that no one's ever heard of. Yeah. Enough time to acknowledge Mickey Rourke and then to go on a rant about, you know, gay rights. And make the gay joke twice. Yeah. And in the circle of support. Yeah. Why wasn't she in that? Yeah. Yeah. Great point, Boston Rob. That's right. All right. I'm not. I'm being serious. I want to end on a great point. So you're out. Yeah. So anyway, there's an explanation with it. Yuck. So we did the scary sonogram yesterday.
I call it the scary sonogram because it's the one where they're looking for birth defects. Yeah, that must be nice. Dude, Eddie knows, man. It's so nerve-wracking. It is very anxiety-ridden. Yes. Well, every sonogram is, but that one in particular is like... Dude, I'm sitting in there. At one point, I literally feel nauseous. You know? Because what they do is they put the sonogram up on the screen and it's like a specially high-powered sonogram. and they're measuring the thickness of the back of the neck of the baby. They factor that with the mother's age, with a blood test, with all this stuff. They factor it all together, and it gives you the odds of you having a kid with Down syndrome. Oh, goodness. And some other stuff. And some other stuff, too, with names that I had never heard of before. Okay. And, you know, it's a very stressful thing. especially when they have these numbers and they're telling you these numbers. And through the whole thing, they're very used to having people come in there. And so it's just, you know, you're kind of like, you're not really Mike and Rebecca, you're sort of their 230, you know, which, you know, hey, listen, I mean, they see a lot of people, I get it. But you're sitting there and you're just, you want them to tell you.
everything that they're doing as they're doing it you want them to be saying this is what this is and this is what this means and you're just seeing them clicking and clicking and you're like what what what what what what what does it say what does it say uh and so basically we wait five days to find out what the odds are that there might be something wrong And they take all these numbers and they put all the numbers together. Well, the numbers are scary. You don't know what the numbers mean. On top of that, they're telling you you can do an amniocentesis, which is really scary. It's where they stick a needle in your spouse's belly and they draw out some fluid and they test that as well, which the baby can get pricked by the needle and all kinds of scary stuff. Some people don't suggest it. Some people do. You know, you read all kinds of different stuff. Yeah. Well, they told us that, and they won't know for sure for a couple of weeks, but they told us that they believe that for sure one of them's a boy. They think. Oh, wow. They think. No way. They won't know for sure. For sure they think. Well, that one they were pretty certain about. They were pretty certain. You know, he said, I feel pretty confident about this one. Like 90% of the time.
I don't know. Yeah, like 90% of the time he feels confident. I'm like, be Rob, can't tell. Now, the other one. Oh, he didn't like that one. Rob had a look like I'm going to let that one down. Your time will come. The other one, they think is a girl. Oh, I called it. I called that. I called that business. I called it. But they said. What, Mike? But they said. He goes, the other one I think is kind of looks like a girl. Don't quote me on that. Certainly don't tell anybody that yet because we don't know. We won't tell anybody. So I'm telling you that there's uncertainty that they don't know. I may very well come back to you in two weeks and say, turns out it's two boys. But I may very well come back and they say, oh, we had the first one wrong too. It's two girls. But if they come back and say two boys, Rebecca's going to move out. Yeah. Oh, I don't blame her. Yeah. I don't blame her. She's hoping for one girl. Oh, she needs, yeah. She's hoping for one girl. Trying to even up the odds. Yeah. So anyway, there was that. Today I have my sinus appointment to find out if I'm going to have surgery. Do it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Your voice is going to give out any second. Dude, that's not that. That's the gut thing. Totally unrelated. You think so? Totally unrelated. That's from my surgery 10 years ago. The gut thing is from my surgery 10 years ago. Yeah. It's from the gastric bypass. Your throat? But how is that affecting your voice? It's all tied together. Your esophagus and it all goes down into your guts. Wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's all related. Weird. Yeah, yeah. The sinuses. Totally unrelated. Doesn't have anything to do with... It's not my throat. They are all related. I can't say they're not related. Right. But this deal with my throat started with the gut stuff. Yeah, it was around the same time. It was at the same time. Yeah. Crazy. Eddie had a good thing, a point about, well, what if you were to do them both at the same time? Which maybe I can. Maybe they can do both. That'd be good. Proactively get in there with the guts and take care of it. Do it. Do it, dude. Two birds and stones. What? Two stones. Yeah. Point two stones at yourself. A couple of kidney stones. That's right. Keep it basic. I am going to read to you from Skye's yesterday email. Oh, no. I'm ready. You're so dramatic. She says, did some shopping for a few household odds and ends at Goodwill.
Eddie's face immediately just changed. He just... What's wrong with that? I don't know. What's wrong with that? I don't see anything wrong with that. I think, if I may step out on a limb here, I think that Skye confuses Eddie. Oh, he's pointing at her. What is that? He says, you know what you're doing. He says, you know what you're doing. Well, you're trying to infuriate him or something. You're trying to drive you nuts. I can't live my life. Trying to drive you nuts. Why Goodwill? Why not Goodwill? Why Goodwill? To get a bargain and to get something that's secondhand. It's better for the environment. Billy, you pushed him over the edge for that one. That was good. Well, but it's true. I know it is. Yeah, but they're producing stuff every day. It doesn't matter if you buy it or not. Yeah, but if people stop buying it and start buying secondhand stuff, they'll start producing less. Well, you could just say that you're putting people out of jobs if you're not buying stuff. I'm fine with that. I have a question. I'm just kidding. Gross. Is this the first time we've shopped at Goodwill? No. Absolutely not. You are a regular. Well, see, they opened a really nice one in Escondido probably about like, when was it? Maybe about six, eight months ago. And so since they opened that one, yeah, we've been frequent visitors. What? Okay. What's up? I thought that you go there to get stuff if you're down on your luck. Yeah.
If you can't afford stuff. No, well, we go. We donate stuff, and we also shop around and see if there's anything that we're interested in. It's like a library. You check something out, you put something in. Like yesterday, we needed a new cat dish, and we also were looking for a new butter dish. I would not. But it's not new. It's somebody else's. Well, no, new to us. Rob, what's a butter dish? Put my butter in my hand. Put your butter on so you can. It's called a plate, Sky. Thank you. You got a bunch of them already. It's a tub of. I can't believe it's not butter. It's like the stick of butter and it has like a lid on it. All right. Yeah, we didn't find it though. I was bummed. What do you got, Eddie? I'm shocked. Weird. I'm shocked you didn't find that. If you can afford a new one, why wouldn't you buy a new one? You don't go a little Bed Bath & Beyond if you got time? No. Why not? Why not? If there's a cheaper one, why not buy that one? Don't you want a nice? Who says it's not nice? It's from Goodwill. So? Why would it be nice? They've got nice stuff there. Come on. They do. Come on. Have you been to the new store in Escondido? Yes. You have not. That is a lie. They only had one butter dish, and we weren't into it. The 99 cent store is the new Vons. Listen. Write that down, everyone. It would creep me out.
Why? Yeah, I don't like going to other people's stuff. Yeah, I don't know what. Well, I feel you like on underwear, but anything outside of that. Spirits come with antiques. With butter dishes? With butter dishes. Really? Absolutely. I don't know what's up with that butter dish. I don't know. Yeah, where's it been? You wash it first. You obviously put it in the dishwasher. It sanitizes it. What if some dog was eating off it? Dude, thank you. That's what I think the deal. Who cares? I care. I'm assuming this thing's glass, right? Well, we were looking for a glass one. We only found a ceramic one and we didn't want it. We were looking for one made of gold. Do you have one in diamond? Yes. Solid diamond. Could I just rent a human to hold my butter? Whatever. That's some cool stuff. Didn't find what we were looking for. We'll try again. Just go to Bed Bath & Beyond. You go to Bed Bath & Beyond. I will if I need a butter dish. I've never been there. It's a Bed Bath & Beyond? No. We're rich people going, right? Oh, man. I would love to check that place out. What do I look like? Lili Sobieski? Wow. Holy cow. Skye. Yes, Mike. How much was said butter dish at Goodwill? Well, we didn't find one that we wanted. I know, but how much was the one? Well, the stuff that we were looking at ranged from 99 cents to about 2.99.
You can get a butter dish at Target for probably $2.99. You can get one for $2.99. Not a nice one. Yes, you can. Not a nice one for $2.99. Of course you can. No, you cannot. I'm looking up butter dishes. Okay, go find one. We need a glass see-through one with a handle on top. It doesn't need to be. That's the thing. She's quite frugal. What? What's wrong with that? Being frugal? I don't want things going in landfills, bro. Oh, Skye. This is not about a landfill. It is. It partially is. It is not. Skye. If you watch Planet Green, they recommend, yeah, buy things secondhand, bro. First and foremost, it's 99 cents. You know it. Well, that's cool. Hey, that's a bonus. You're saving me like $9. You're saving me $9. This is what I'm thinking. I'm thinking you're getting it because it's $0.99. It's a bonus that it's green. You're telling me no. I'm getting it because it's green. It's a bonus. It's $0.99. I think it's about equal. It's equal. It's equal. I had an equal conversation with my wife the other day where she was saying something. I go, babe, come on. What's this really about? No, no, no. It's because. Come on, honey. Tell the truth. You don't get it.
All right. You really don't get it. What? What'd you find? Anything? No. He went to Crate and Barrel. Crate and Barrel. Crate and Barrel. Bill Gates? You have to take a look at how much that costs, Mike. Sky? I sent you the link. Sky Manta. Let me see. Sky, that's Crate and Barrel. That's a nice joint. Okay, hold on. I've never been there either. Where have you? There's really something called Crate and Barrel? Let's see. You didn't even know what a butter dish was. Butter dish. Come on. That's ridiculous to me that you need a dish for your butter. How much, Skye? Not acceptable. I need one with a handle on the top. What? You get the idea. There's a brand new... Yeah, but if you can find... That's from Crate and Barrel. That's $4.
$3.95. Yeah, that's $3 more than I'd spend at Goodwill. But you get quality for it. Who says the one at Goodwill is not good quality? It's already been used. That means as soon as it leaves the store, it's not as good as quality. They weren't cutting wood with it. You're brutal. I don't know what you want. I need one with a handle to even have this discussion. Mike. I don't know. Can you use something? P1 Herald recommended to Sky that she try a new place in San Marcos called... The money pit. Oh, it was so good. The theme of the restaurant? Money. Really? No. I heard the theme of the restaurant was money. It is not. It's kind of more like a 50s diner type of feel in there. Money, money, money. It's in an old bank.
Like a building that used to be a bank. Oh, I love it. Smells like money in here. Yeah. I'll take the table in the vault. I love money. Yes, I do. But the food was really good and the prices were really good and probably the best onion rings I've ever had. I had the Benjamin Franklin. It was delicious. You guys grow up. Sorry. Sorry, I love money. Sorry. I went to the money pit and then I went to Goodwill, okay? Sue me. Sue me. I'll come and sue you. I love money. Whatever. Oh, my God. You're lame. You guys are lame. Wow. Money, money, money. Show me the money. Oh, I love it. Oh, my goodness, you are screaming. I live in a bank. Oh, man. Please, lock me in the vault, baby. What? I walked in, dropped to my knees, and I went, yes! It's a dream come true. Yes! This is a holdup. What? All right. What is that woman doing over there smelling the walls?
Oh, yeah, baby. She's licking the ground. I'd like to make a withdrawal. I'll take all you got. I got to go buy Goodwill. As long as you're not a credit union. I burn hundreds to stay warm. Oh, well, now that you're just bragging. Yeah, that's wasteful. That's ridiculous. But they serve their sky. They have like burgers and I don't know, just normal kind of like food. They have, you know, burgers, sandwiches, lots of hot dogs, wraps, salads. It's good. If the Money Pit had any brains in their head, they would have a new endorser. Absolutely. Right? Hello, I'm Sky for the Money Pit. I mean, are you kidding me? If you're looking for a wonderful atmosphere. Are you like me? You've been waiting for a money-themed restaurant. I used to picnic in the Wells Fargo. Now I don't have to. Are you like me? Have you been taking a sack lunch to the Wells Fargo? It's really cool, though, because they have a drive-thru, and it's like the drive-thru at the bank, you know? It's so cool. Oh, my gosh, this is delightful. At the drive-thru. Shut up!
You send me a burger in a tube, and it sucks up, and it comes down to you, and you sign a little receipt for it. I had to make a deposit, and I left the door open. What? Oh, Eddie? Gosh. Wow. I think we've had enough fun now. Oh, I bet that sounds like fun. It is. I'm exhausted. Oh, Skye. I'm exhausted, Skye. You are the best. I'm going to go buy you a butter dish. Well, traffic looking better as this commute winds down. Some better looking speeds out of the South Bay right now on both the 5 and the 805 northbound. 805 is still quite tough, though, out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over to 52. West 94 is still going to find a slow ride from the 15 in the downtown. The West 8 is looking good, though, into the valley. A slight delay on the 5 freeway northbound, though, coming off the 80 into Mission Bay.
Your ride out of Escondido is still a slow one. South 15 is still tough from the 78 down to Villaracho Parkway. And the coaster ride has got some reduced speeds off and on now on South 5 out of La Costa and the Salona Beach. And fog is starting to burn off, so it looks like they're allowing flights to land now at Lindbergh Field. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Funny to me that I laugh so deep. San Diego's Rock. Tell us what stuff you like. The text messages are coming to textmikey at gmail.com. Mikey, forget her buying the butter dish. Who donates a butter dish to Goodwill? That's P1 Slow. What's wrong with that? I've donated a whole dish set before. I don't know what the problem is. People need butter dishes. Eddie, wouldn't you use a used car? Great point. Yeah, I've bought used cars in the past. People are picking their noses and farting in there and stuff. This guy made a fine joke. But I'm not eating food off it. Yeah. What? You're eating fast food in there. I'm eating it off the seats. If you drop a fry, you've got about five seconds. To Sky's defense, that is how Eddie and I eat our fast food. Running out in the backseat. Eddie, you are truly king of the quips.
Keep them coming. That's P1 Doom. Thank you. You are king of the quips. That's what I heard. Where's your crown? Like the gang? No. I wear blue. No. Mikey, how much gas does Sky Wasting driving to the thrift store? Over and over and over. That's go green. Oh, so it doesn't cost any gas to go to Bed Bath & Beyond. Gas is free there. What the hell? Outer Sky. What? Well, what kind of stupid point is that? It was a good one. It made sense. It doesn't make any sense. You have to drive regardless of where you're going. You can make your own butter dish out of a tree. That's right. Yeah. But then you're cutting down a tree. Why don't you whittle a butter dish? So stupid. What am I, Lars? Yes. Text Mikey at gmail.com. Oh, you guys. Sky, that was not a restaurant. That was the check cashing place. That's the money tree. It's different. You guys, poor Skye. She has been picked on hard the last two days. Thank you. Oh, here we go. Thank you. I'm a very sensitive lady. To be one, Sam, I am. Lady. She's a nice girl. That's right. Thank you, Rob. Don't do that. Thank you, Rob. This one says, Skye, way to go. These days saving money and the planet is the way to go. It's a win-win. Keep up the good work. That sucks because the people in the 60s, I was, I don't know.
Maybe I shouldn't go into it. Let it out. I would keep it in. You'll feel better. Keep it in. Keep it in. Inner Rob. No, because, man, people in the 50s and 60s and 70s, and I'm going to go the 80s, they got to do whatever they want. They made cars that took diesel. They would just burn aerosol cans for no... No reason at all. Styrofoam, you can tear the cups off and no one cared. Well, isn't there something to be said that that's what got us in this mess? And that's what I'm saying. Why do they get to have all the fun? I want to use big Aquanet cans and just spray them at the ozone. I'm going to run my AC in the winter and you can do it. This sucks, man. You've got to go back in time. Who are we saving? Our kids and grandkids. Let them deal with the problem. We had it tough. We had it tough when we were kids and they're going to have it tough. We did have it tough. You didn't? No, well, no. I mean, I don't know what that means. Well, some people did. I get what he's saying. I think your point, right? It's tough by not being able to use Aquanet. Like, that's what we're considering. No, but I'm just saying now everyone's so, like, prissy about it. No, you don't want to drive there and ride your bike to work. Who cares? I say buy the SUV. I care. I say let's destroy this planet, man. No. Yeah, let's burn this puppy. What about Wally? Who?
A queer little robot? Don't be like that. Rob, don't take it out on Wall. Don't take it out on Wall-E. I'm just saying, man. Our fathers and our grandfathers, they get to smoke inside. They get to do whatever they want. They had a great time on Earth. That's right. Why are you like this? Go ahead. I'm playing your music. I just don't understand. Now we've got to watch our cop. Is he standing on a soapbox? I can't tell. I look like Harvey Milk over here. A little bit, actually. Well, thank you. Thank you. I just, I think it's unfair, and I guess that's what we're living in. You can live your life however you want to live in. Yeah, that's true, but it's just there's so many people that are so oversensitive. You know how I keep track of what we talk about on the show? I just wrote, Rob hates the planet. So remember what we did right there. Just in case. If we're ever needing to go back to it, we'll know what happened right there. That's cool, Rob. It's not cool, man. It's fine. Everything's fine. People living in trees because they don't want to cut down? Will you just stop it, please? I don't understand. Don't you cherish the earth? Answer my question. Don't you cherish the earth?
Only because I live here. If I lived on Mars, I wouldn't even care. I'd give a rip. So the answer is yes, you cherish the Earth. In certain ways. And why do you want a number two on it? It's just stupid to me that there are freaking hippies going living in trees because they don't want one tree cut down. But there are landscapers, like I used to do, planting 30 trees in a day. It's like, hey, freaking sensitive guy, calm down. Go home, sleep in your cot, play Nintendo, and smoke your weed. Wow. Yeah. I had to let that out. Do you feel better? A little bit. Okay, that was odd. Yeah, listen, I've really changed when it comes to the planet. I mean, I recycle every single day, mostly for the money, but I do. Well, good. That's fine. I recycle everything. That's great. Yep. I've really changed my opinion about the planet. Yeah, I think we should try to preserve the planet when we can. But don't you think that people go overboard? Like how? That's what I'm talking about. Like Sky with their butter dish and things like that. Oh, well, see, I don't buy that. I don't buy it. For a second.
I'm sorry. I know he doesn't buy it. I don't buy it. He also doesn't believe I use compact fluorescents. No, I do believe that. Well, because, yeah, after you came to my house and I pointed it out to you, but you didn't believe me when I said it. I believed you before I went there and saw him at your house. But you said you didn't believe me. No, no, no. You convinced me during that conversation. Now, in this conversation, you have not convinced me yet that you got a butter dish at Goodwill because you're trying to save the planet. I tried to get a butter dish at Goodwill. In fact, I don't really understand how you save the planet by getting a butter dish at Goodwill. Because that's one less butter dish in a landfill, and that's one less butter dish that needs to be made. But you don't have a butter dish. Well, if you put it in your garbage, it ends up in a landfill. But, Skye, you don't have a butter dish. Yeah, but if that butter dish wasn't being sold at Goodwill, it would be in somebody's garbage. It would be in your refrigerator holding butter. That's the plan. Oh, man. That's the plan for it. I would understand. But if people weren't shopping at Goodwill, they would end up in the trash. Did you get one? No, they didn't have one. She didn't even get one. They didn't have one, bro. She's eventually going to get one. I hope so. But if it doesn't have a top. It's not going to go in a landfill. It's going to go in her fridge. If it doesn't have a top on it, she's not going to buy it. She already said that from Crate and Barrel. Well, yeah, because I'm not going to use it. So it's a particular butter dish. Yeah, so why would I buy something I'm not going to use?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, listen. I can't fight anymore, but I'm glad you've changed your stance. I have. I have changed my stance. Don't you soften up on me now. Give me an example of something that's stupid that I believe. Come on, I'll talk to you about it. Give me an example of somebody going overboard with green. Because I've really changed. I'm trying to think. I don't know. I kind of let out everything I had, so I'm kind of empty inside right now. Eddie, you got any examples of people going overboard? I might agree. What about recycling? You had issues with having to sort stuff and recycle. We do it now. We do it. I don't like it, by the way. We do it. I don't like it. You look closer to me. I do it for you. I'm just being honest with you. We're doing it. I don't like doing it. It's a pain. It's a pain. I think it's a pain. But we're doing it. It's actually easier. But we're doing it. What else is green? Like cars? Hey, man. I would love it if we could all have, you know, electric cars. Great. I don't think it's very practical. One thing is, like, just turning off, like, saving energy in your house, like, turning off lights when you leave the room. Oh, let's talk about that. Let's talk about this. Which is a big one for me. Let's talk about this. I still got my Christmas lights up. Can I talk to you about this? Sky, you're not going to like this. Well, duh. You're not going to like this. Well, duh. Sky, I replaced a whole bunch of our canned lights with green bulbs. Good. Ripped them all out.
The old one's back. Why? Because I turn the thing on and they got to like warm up. They kind of flicker a little. They have to warm up before you got light in the room. Yes. It takes five minutes before you got light in the room. Five minutes. Sky, I'm not kidding you. Well, I have them in my can. I have them too. It's not five minutes. It's probably about. It is in a couple of seconds. It's about 20 seconds, I would say. It's like flicker, flicker, flicker. Okay, different lights. Never mind. I take it back. Eddie, do you know what I'm saying? And they don't dim. Oh. Dude. There are dimmable ones, I believe. My husband found some. Really? Yeah. They're not, you know, they're not. But I'm even just talking about like regular lights, Mike, because people got regular lights and that's all good. But just like when you leave the room or you leave your house, make sure you turn it off. Mike always did that because his dad always forget about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I always turn the lights off. I constantly am saying to my wife. What about the AC, though? Sky, I'm sorry. It's not going to happen. Yeah, I know. It's not going to happen. Well, you have an issue with heat. I have an issue. I have an issue with heat. Let's remember that. It's not going to happen. But I'm making attempts. That's great, Mike. Keeping the planet nice. I love hearing that. Can you address what Rob said about him still having his Christmas lights up? Yeah, I think it does need to be addressed. I'm wicked festive. You're wicked lazy. Are you kidding me with that? Kidding. You really try to pull I'm wicked festive? There's somebody on my block that still has Christmas lights up. Oh, no way. It's February 24th.
Furious every time I see it. Oh, do they turn them on at night? Yes. No way. They're still on. No way. February 24th. That's weird. I want to leave them a note and be like, come on, dude. Yeah. No. No means no. If it's past the first week of January, you're a jerk. It's Christmas rape. You're a jerk. It is Christmas rape. I'm sorry. I don't appreciate it. Do you need to talk to someone? I do. Okay. Listen to this. Rob. I don't believe this. I don't believe this. We'll see if this is true. You guys put up your... BS detectors. Tell us if this is true. On line three, it's P1 Bounce. Are you there, Bounce? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. Hey, I got a over-the-top green practice that you might want to check out. My brother and sister-in-law use, you know, like when you get reusable baby diapers, you can use reusable wipes, you know, like cloth squares. They've actually moved into using those for themselves. They use reusable squares. For toilet paper. For toilet paper. And then they put them in a little baggie and then wash them later. Wow. That could never get clean. Wow. Well, what about cloth diapers back in the day? I mean, how did... I don't know. I don't know how that works. You just ignore that. I figured they'd go down to the creek. I don't know. How did that work? How does this work? Do you...
How does it work? Do you throw them in the sink? I always thought with, like, cloth baby diapers, what you would do is you would take them and then you would, like, dunk them in the toilet and then wring them out. And then you'd... In the toilet? And then you'd eventually wash them in the washing machine. That's like better systems now where it's like a fleece line so nothing sticks to it as much. But, yeah, it's still pretty nasty. You know, we've come up with some... cool names for them like the Heiney Hanky and stuff like that. You're not blowing your nose. I believe him. I thought when he came on the air I wasn't going to believe that what he was saying was true. I believe him. Wacko, man. Oh no, I'm not kidding. It's not cool, Sky. I don't have the discipline to do it, but I think that's great. It's not great. It's disgusting. Go crap in the woods and use a leaf then. I would, but that's illegal. Oh, it is? Yeah, I don't know about that. That's their personal choice. I don't know about that. That's cool. I like it. It just doesn't... You guys are saying you like it, but you wouldn't do it. But they'll never do it. They'll never do it. I admit that. Yeah, I agree with Sky. Like, I don't have the discipline to do it, but I absolutely support anyone doing that. Yeah, I applaud them. I think that's rad. Yeah, I mean, whatever. You know, if you want... Hey, listen. What if you went over to somebody's house and that's what they have? Yeah, what about that, you guys? What are you going to do?
What do people do when they go to their house? You're forcing me. Do they look over to the side and there's a little nightstand next to the toilet with little... Cloths? Well, I would assume they'd provide regular toilet paper. And where do you put those? And yeah, do you clean it yourself? I'll tell you what you do. You come out into the living room and you go, I didn't know where to put this. I didn't know where to. I don't know where I'm supposed to. Well, you should at least use the recycled toilet paper. Until the dog drags it out of the trash. What do I do with this? Whatever. P1 Scooby. I need help. Man, I'm sorry. I'm going to have to put some bed. This is bugging me. Okay. Eddie and Mikey. Yeah. You know, I love you guys. You guys are sounding a lot like prima donnas. Give me an example. Prima donnas. Give me examples. I don't even know what that means. Okay. It's before Madonna. All this stuff, like, oh, I can't use the reusable toilet paper or whatever, the wipes and, you know, the diapers back in the day and all that stuff. Really? Scoob, are you telling me? What? That you are okay with cloth toilet paper. That's what we use now.
toilet paper is cloth. No, bro. No, no, no, bro. We're talking about reusable cloths that you wash in your washing machine after you... Like a Hanes t-shirt. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, really? That's what you do? You would use that. You would do that. Yeah. No, you wouldn't, Scooby. You're so full of it, Scooby. Then do it. So if you guys had another baby, you'd go to cloth diapers? Of course he wouldn't, Skye. Of course not. Well, I'm asking. Of course he would not. I'm going to wait for him to answer. We're prima donnas. He wouldn't do it. You don't know. But we're prima donnas. But we're the prima donnas. You don't know. Scooby. Come on. You're so full of it. I'm not. You are full of it. Scooby. You, Scoob, you're telling me that you will have these reusable cloth things that you'll wipe with and put in the washing machine. Yeah. What happens if you buy, you know, you know, buy. I don't think we could say that. I don't think we could say that. I had it hit the button on you. Because the FCC is so stupid. It's not even your fault what you said wasn't even that bad. But the FCC is so dumb that they won't let us put that on the air. But you know what I'm saying though, right? No, Scooby, you're retarded. Don't leave him alone. He is. I don't know what his true feelings are. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Hold on. If you have an accident.
You don't wash your clothes. Of course, of course. Of course you do, Scooby. Of course you do. And I'm not going to do that 50 times a day because I use the restroom. You go to the bathroom 50 times a day. I can't use just one square, I'll tell you that. You go to the bathroom 50 times a day. In defense to Eddie. Honey, get me another six pack of Hames T-shirts. Scooby. Quick, get me the turn of lyrics for Scoob. Please. How do you think people lived back in the turn of the century? I believe you, Scooby. I don't care. Yeah, Scooby. We've advanced. Yeah. I believe you, Scooby. They didn't have cars. We've advanced. Scooby's advanced. He's going to be using, you know, King Charlemagne toilet paper later today. Why don't you take the horse and buggy to work then, Scooby? If they had it, I would. They do have it, Scoob. They do have it. Just like they have the... Take public transportation then. Stop driving that car of yours. You could do that. Leave him alone. You prima donna. You're driving that car of yours. Leave him alone. Man. Unbelievable. I'm sorry to like this to you, Scooby. I know, right? I'm sorry. Go buy a butter dish, Scooby. I believe you. I'm going to buy like 20 butter dishes. See? No, that's not the answer. Yeah!
Scoob, we're going to have a bathroom check tomorrow at your house. If I find any toilet paper, you're in trouble. Thank you. How dare you, sir. Leave him alone. You don't know what he does. I do know. He's my roommate. He is not. I've never been to his house. Leave him alone. It's not true. I live there now. You do not. I do. I just moved in last night. To Scooby's house. Here's P1 Taylor to talk about those disposable diapers. Hey, Mikey. What's up? Hey, it's actually a lot greener to use disposable diapers because I just read this huge story in Parents Magazine where this tree hugger wanted to see the difference. He's a single dad, and so we switched to cloth, and he said that by the time you spend the energy and the chemicals that are used... between the washing and the sanitizing, because we're talking about human feces. You can't just use soap and water. It actually ends up being a lot greener than just use disposable. Thank you. What was your name, Taylor? Thank you. It's this kind of stuff that people are going, oh, well, let's be so abstract and do it how they used to. They used to not have washing machines. Now you're running more loads a day. I'm all for saving the planet, except when it comes to, like,
kookiness. This is what I... I put this under the kooky category. But hold on. I'm even talking about these green cars that you have to plug in and then you go under 40 so I can't get to my appointments on time because I got to follow you merging onto the freaking 5 from the 52. You jerk in the Prius. I get it. Your thing didn't plug in long enough. But these are the stupid things. Priuses can go faster. Somebody was just driving slow. It had nothing to do with the environment. If I had the plate number, I'd give it out right now. Okay, that's... But it's this kind of stuff. I don't know what you do. These things are so stupid. And everybody wants them. But remember when we did that whole thing? No, I will not take the next call on the terrible towel. No, I will not take the next call. But people need to know. He used to eat a lot of natural food. Until he learned most people die of natural causes. The time is now 15 minutes after the hour. Just a couple of slow spots left over here. The South 15, still a bit slow from Felicita down the view of Rancho Parkway out of Escondido. Looking good down that North County shoreline, South 5. Nothing stopping you there. The westbound 56 is a minor delay near the 5 here coming out of Carmel Valley. And the North 805, still a bit tight out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Hey, check this out. Got this email. Mikey, I have felt like a part-time P1.
until yesterday. I went to Sleep Train so that I could have a reference to compare used mattresses on Craigslist. I took my three-year-old in there, which is typically a bad idea because she doesn't have the ability to self-calm herself yet. I digress. But my point is that they made it so easy to figure out which mattress I wanted that I ended up buying one at Sleep Train. I really wanted the Beautyrest world-class Paris Plush. But it was out of my budget, which is why I felt I needed to buy a used one. The sales associate knocked off $1,213 and offered to deliver it today. We got this email. B-Rob, when did we get this? A couple days ago? Yeah, two days ago. Two days ago. That's awesome. Yeah, man.
My wife, who is one month pregnant with our second child, will be pleasantly surprised tonight when she sleeps on our new Paris plush. She really deserves a good mattress to sleep on, and I can't wait to sleep on it with her. Signed P1 Norfus. You want that to be your story? Sleep trains are everywhere. Check one out today. Mikey. One of the only times I was ever in shape in my life was when I was a freshman in high school, you know? Eddie. I love Wookiees. Sky. I don't know anything. What would you do for your Red Sox? I would do anything. And Ashley. I didn't even go to San Diego State. I did. I practically graduated. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Now, with what's up in your world, this is the Mikey Show 360. Mikey Show 360. The idea is what are we talking about? What's big? What's the what? What's the what? What's the stuff people are telling? What's a word on the street?
One of the words on the street right now is that the guy, there's a guy, and we don't know if he's really the father of the Octo kids, but he says he is. Octo mom says it's a lie. This guy isn't for real. His name is Dennis Boudouin. Boudouin. Boudouin. Maybe we'll hear it. Yeah, Beaujolais. He was on Good Morning America. Let's hear what he had to say. She really wanted to have kids. Now, how did the idea of you helping her to have kids come up? She asked me to donate sperm. Big request. What did you think of that? Big request. Interesting response. Big request. I thought it was, you know, kind of, it was kind of, you know, out of the order. But I cared about her so much. And, I mean, we were in love. Dennis Bodine says he and Nadia Suleiman dated for three years back in the late 90s and says her unusual request was kind of sprung on him. Do you guys remember the show? In Live in Color? I do. Fly Girls? Yeah. Different show. What was the show where they would say, will the real so-and-so please stand up? Do you remember that, anybody? Yes. That was Slim Shady. No, that's a song, Rob. My So-Called Life?
Again, no, but a great show. Remote control. Rob, shut up. I'm the only one throwing ideas out there. Yeah, he's the only one helping, Eddie. Is that Liars Club? That's what we called it. I know, but I think that's what we got it for. What it was really called? I think so. I don't know. Well, the idea of the show was that you had three people. One person was telling the truth. The other people were trying to convince you that it was the truth. And I want you to kind of think in those terms as you listen to this guy because I'm listening going, I'm not sure if this guy's a liar or if he really is a dad of these kids and that he really knew this woman. She said we're going to go to the doctor's appointment, which turns out to be it wasn't just a doctor's appointment. It was a fertility clinic. After she came out and told me that if she wanted to have kids, she has to have them now. Spaceboy just texted or just IM'd me the name of the show to tell the truth. That's what it was. That's very close.
Tin live in color. And I really do think that this is a game of to tell the truth. Is this guy for real? She was told that she was going to, or she had, oh gosh, I forgot the terminology, ovarian cancer. You, no man. You forgot the terminology. I forgot the terminology. Oh yes, I remember the term now. Ovarian cancer. That is so weird. Weird. Know that that's what the doctors told her or that's what Nadia told you the doctors told her? That's what Nadia told me the doctors told her. During the relationship, he says she asked for at least three donations. Then, after the breakup, a strange phone call. About three or four years ago, I called her just to say hi. And I heard kids crying in the background. And I go, who's that? She goes, those are my babies. That was it. Did you say? Are those my babies, too? I didn't say anything because it was a really kind of uncomfortable silence after that. I think maybe she said, I have to go, and that was it. That's very odd. What? This is just weird. I know. What do you guys think?
He seems fishy to me. There's something fishy, right? Yeah, like he doesn't know, like the terminology line. ABC claims that Octomom says that he was not the sperm donor that she used to conceive her children, but then go on to say when they pressed her about it, she did confirm that he had donated sperm while they were together. Confirms that she knows him? Oh, yeah. She confirms that they used to date, and like he said, dated at the end of the 90s. Oh, well, then, come on. That he donated sperm. And, you know, his story is she pressed him to donate the sperm. She doesn't say exactly how she knows. Oh, man, it changes everything. Yeah. Huh. But Uncle Eddie. Yes, Beto. Those are my kids, dude. First of all. What are you, Beto? You are not the father of the octopus. No, you are not. No way, dude. Uncle Eddie. You can't just say things like that, Beto. Can I?
Be frank with you. You don't even know what that means. I'm being serious. Okay, what? What? There are more of my wives that you've never even heard of, dude. You're so stupid, Beto. You're 14. You're 14. You've never been married. You've never even kissed a girl. That's not true, dude. I'm 27. No, you're not. Oh, that's such a lie. That's a lie. What about my first wife, Lupe? Lupe. I'm not even going to participate in this. She gave birth to our first set of nanuplettes. What is that? Nanuplettes, I mean. Yeah, what are their names? Lupe and I went through divorce proceedings when I summered in Maine. You summered in Maine. You saw that in a movie. You're 14 years old. This doesn't make you look cool to say these things. Tia Skye? Yes, Pato. We went to the law offices of Jacoby and Myers. Really? That's not a big face. I thought you went to McClankle and McClankle. Oh, yeah. That is right. Yeah. And then we reconciled. Yes. Oh, you did. And we conceived. No. Decaplets. Decaplets. How many is that?
10. Oh, really? And were you doing fertility treatments? No, we were not. Oh, just naturally had 10 babies. I naturally had 10. Wow. And my oldest son, Umberto, is attending USC where he is a cheerleader. How is he your eldest son if they were all born at the same time? That's right. Because he came out first, Tia. Okay, so you refer to him as the oldest. Yeah, and the one that came out last is my youngest, Octavio. Octavio. So she gave naturally, she had natural childbirth, all 10? Yes, and my youngest one, Octavio, goes to Yale and majors in math. Really? How do you afford that? With a lot of jobs, Sissy. Yes. Can you not call me S.A.? I don't believe that. I don't believe you. Hey, TS guy. Yes. Check it out. What? I have so many kids through donating my jeans at the sperm bank. Oh, no. I don't even know what that means, dude. The sperm bank closed down because of overcrowding.
You're so stupid. This doesn't make you look cool. They were all, no, Beto, you're too manly. We can't house your jeans anymore. Right. Yeah, you're my lady. And I was all, take it. And they were all, no, we're not prepared for this. I'm sure that's how it went. And I was all, well, ready or not, you better take it because I need the college money. Is that what you said? And I was all, so here it comes. And they were all, no, Beto, let other guys donate. Right. That's too many of you here. Yeah. I know you have to be like 18 to donate, right? Yeah. And they check your ID. Yeah, I'm 27. No, you're not. No, you're not. I met the octo mom at bodybuilding class. Okay. You're so stupid. Well, you shut up. Yeah, she came in there one time. She was all, oh, I want 50 kids and a bodybuilder. And I was all, oh, what's up? Here I am. And she was all, no, you can't tell my mom. And I was all. Boom, you're pregnant. Oh, really? See, that's not how it works, Beto. Boom, you're pregnant. She was all, I'm octopregnant. That was all you asked for. You wanted to have them. Yeah. Okay, Beto. I think it's time to get back to school. I can't help that I have...
The most powerful genes. You don't even know what that means. Stop it. I do, dude. They're powerful. They're everywhere. They're all over the place. They are. Yeah, because when I produce them, they're all... You're so stupid. And you're 27 years old talking like that. Yeah, I do 27 with genetics that are as big as trout. Genetics against trout. That's my nephew, Beto. He doesn't know any better. He thinks he's cool. You need to talk. He's not cool. You need to sit him down. He's in foundation. I tried to. Yeah, that's ridiculous. They're powerful, dude. All right. All right, Beto. I can't house them. You don't even know what that means. I do. No, you don't. Uncle Eddie. What? I plead with you to not let me let my jeans go everywhere because they're so strong, dude. First of all, that's gross. Every woman wants to have my jeans. You know why? Why? I'm Latino, dude. I'm good looking, bro. I'm good looking. You're starting to get acne. I'm dark. I am not, dude. I'm starting to get acne on my back from the roids.
Oh, are you saying you're taking illegal drugs? No. I'll call the cops on you. I'm not, though, dude. You said you took roids. Prove it in a state of court. In a state of court. Well, you just said it. I didn't say that. Yes, you did. Are you crying? Yes. Okay. He always breaks down into tears at the end. Learned your lesson. At the end, he always learns his lesson. Man. Gosh. It's the beauty of Beto. Beto. Kid. Hey, you guys want to do some P1 shirt? Holy cow. P1 Trivia is your opportunity to come into the studio. Now, the way that it works is you call us at 570-1053, and the object of the game is to try to get to five points. Now, you can pick questions that are one, two, and three-point questions. First person on five points wins. Pretty easy. Except that all the questions are Mikey Show related. And so every question that you get is going to be about...
The Mikey Show. Now, if you win, you get to come in here, you get a backstage pass to The Mikey Show, and you get a catered breakfast. It's pretty cool. And most importantly, you get to hang out behind the scenes and see how the show is run behind the scenes. Now, there is a website called Yelp.com. People can go on to Yelp and they can rate what they think of different restaurants, what they think of our show, what they think of... uh, a certain seven 11 or a taco shop or whatever. Now one guy came into the Mikey show about two years ago for, uh, you know, getting to come in from Mikey show trivia. And he was really bummed because he said that, uh, I didn't say anything to him the whole time he was in here, which I have to warn you, we're working. You're getting to see the behind the shows stuff. Yeah. Behind the scenes stuff. And it isn't always going to be, um, you know, where you're, it's more of a look behind the glass. Right. That's what it is. And so if you get to come in for P1 trivia, just know that the idea is that you get to be an observer behind the scenes. It doesn't necessarily guarantee that you're going to be on the air. It just means you get to come hang out. And you get a catered breakfast and a backstage pass, and it's pretty fun. But, you know, know what it is right up front. P1 1842 is on the line. P1 1842, how are you doing? I'm doing good. How are you guys?
I'm good. Now, what we usually try to do, if we can, is we get a guy and a girl. We give both a guy and a girl a chance to come into the studio and hang out. So, we got a guy. We need a girl. 570-1053. Come on, ladies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come hang out. That's what I'm saying. Don't be scared. Just call us up. 570-1053. I actually like the ladies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, give us a call. We'll get this thing rolling. All you must remember is that you must be available on Friday to come into the studio. This is an opportunity for you on Friday to come into the studio. And be on your best behavior. That's correct. Yes. That's right. Hey, guess who we've got to compete with P1 1842? Hey, babe. P1 babe. Hi, babe. Hi, babe. It's P1 babe. Hello. How you doing, babe? I'm good, thank you. How are you guys? I'm good. 1842. Yes, sir. How old are you? I am 21. How long have you been listening? Almost three years. Three years. Good. And, hey, babe. Hey. How old are you? I'm going to be 25. She's 24. And how long have you been listening? About the same, almost three years. Three years. All right, cool. Has babe ever come into the studio before? Yes. Have you won, babe? Yeah, I have. You have. Okay. She's good. She knows her stuff. It's fine, though. It's been a while, I guess. Yep.
Okay, 1842, we will begin with you. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? Give me a two. You got it. The two-point question is, what is the name of the man on the street interviews that B-Rob does? What do we call those man on the street interviews that B-Rob does? You got Rob. You are correct. Now you go. That is correct. You have just scored two points. Yes. Let's see. P1, babe. I'll take a two, please. A two-pointer. What show member is obsessed with the McRib? Eddie. That is correct. Whoa. Too soon. Thank you. Thank you very much. Okay. I said that when we came back, we had some stats on San Diego County meth use that may surprise you. Sky, what is it?
Yeah, this is interesting. So, you know, when they put together stats like this, they're always kind of a year behind, you know, because it takes a while to get all the stats together. So this is for, this was just released. It's called the 2008 Meth Report Card. And basically it shows that meth use in San Diego County is down, but the amount of deaths from meth overdose is up. So what it shows is that the admission for treatment for meth use was down 3%. Emergency room examinations where they noticed meth in a patient's system was down 29%. Meth arrests were down 25%. Law enforcement seizure of meth down 40%. And then the number of arrested people who actually tested positive for meth was down 7% for adults and 3% for kids. Now, the number of meth-related deaths went up. It was 174 people died from meth one year, and then last year it was 184 people, so up about 10 people. When I was here when I was 19 in San Diego, I was looking for a place to stay, and I was going to these different places that were in the newspaper, checking them out, places to live. And it was all roommates. You know, I had to. Couldn't afford to live by myself.
And I remember this one chick. I went and talked to her and she told me at her kitchen table after I'd looked at the place that every once in a while she does crystal. And, you know, she just wanted to let me know. Every once in a while. Yeah, I was talking to Rebecca about it and she was like, Rebecca goes, you know, if somebody, you know, basically needs to let you know that. Thank you. Before you go in. It's not. It's not every once in a while. Yeah, and I don't think meth is one of those drugs that you just do every once in a while. You know, either you're an addict or you're not. You kind of get addicted. A little taste? No, a little taste. No, no. That scared the pants out of me. Oh, wow. How do you get the pants scared out of you? Well, you've ingested them. You must have swallowed them, which is weird. I would assume. You know what I mean? It's a weird thing to do. Okay.
Obama, the speech tonight. That's the other thing we were going to talk about. Obama and the speech tonight. They're canceling a bunch. No idol. Messing up primetime TV, Obama. Terrible. You're handsome, but not that handsome, bro. Aren't you interested, though, in all this stuff he's going to talk about? I am. I think it's pretty big stuff. Well, yeah. Well, are we in Hollywood yet? Or are we, I mean, are we down to the top whatever they do? Top 12? Top 16? I don't watch until we get down to the nitty-gritty. The top 12? Yes. They're singing in groups of 12 to determine the top 12. Okay, once we get to the top 12, then I'm in. But you don't figure out who you're not building characters. I can't remember all these people. You will. I get them all confused. No, you follow your favorites to the beginning and the end. I'll tell you what, man. I don't watch TV anymore, but every time, my wife still loves Idol, Survivor, all that stuff. and usually she watches TV with the wireless headphones on because otherwise I can't sleep. But every once in a while, I'll see something on, and I will get up, and I will unplug the headphones so that I can listen to it, which is her cue that means, oh, my husband's interested in watching this for whatever random reason. Every once in a while, I'll be idle, and instantly I can watch it and enjoy it. Instantly. Instantly you can watch idle and like it.
I wish I didn't have to, but I do. It's addictive, isn't it? It is. It's an addictive show. It hooks you. It really does hook you. Obama will speak at 6 o'clock tonight, but that's 9 o'clock on the East Coast, so it messes up all the primetime stuff, and it'll be pretty much on every network, and he's speaking to Congress. How long is he going to speak? I think it looks like an hour, but lots of times it kind of goes longer. Or he could speak less, and then they just... discuss it afterwards. They do that. Plus, they're going to have a retort. Retort. Economy, of course, foreign policy, healthcare, energy, education, deficit. It's supposed to cover all that stuff. It's all stuff that is in our guts that we care about. By the way, Eddie, my wife is in agreement with you and believes that guy David on American Idol that Danny Gans. Danny Gans. He's actually the entertainer of the year. You're confusing. Wow. Wait.
He shouldn't be able to compete. He shouldn't be able to compete. It's just not fair. He's a professional. I mean, after you get the title of Entertainer of the Year. Not the same guy. It's in the title. To compete with amateurs is not fair. Not fair. It's not fair. I complain. I mean, I know you can hear me. What? She loves him, Eddie. Danny Gokey. He's already won. That's what she says. I want to give him the title. That's what she says. That's what she says. Oh, Gokey. He's awesome. Let's see. Wow. That's cute. You would know this guy if you were watching. I wouldn't because I'd be like, which one is he? You would know. Jonas Brothers are making a surprise appearance at movie theaters this weekend. Which one? Yeah! Eyebrows for everybody! Yes. It's true, though. It's true. They're not announcing which one. The Jonas Brothers new movie opens on Friday, and I guess they're going to be making surprise pop-ins all the way Friday throughout Sunday around the country at different movie theaters. So, fingers crossed. Don't be coming to my theater, Jonas. Fingers crossed. You don't come to my theater. We'd love to meet you. Come on. My wife wanted me to ask you guys what your thoughts were on introducing Jake to Mary Poppins.
I said, you know, why Mary Poppins? I said, that seems a little girly to me. And she's a liar. Then she's a liar? Mary Poppins is a liar? Mary Poppins is a liar. I don't know anything about this. I don't know anything about it. Okay, let's talk about this because me and my wife have this debate. Yeah. If we have a boy, there are certain movies that he's going to watch, and there are certain movies he's not going to watch. I don't want him watching no Mary Poppins. Why? What's wrong? It's a girl movie. There's a little boy in there. See if he can get her on. No way. There's a little boys in there. They're chick movies. They're little girl movies. Yeah, it's a girl movie. I've never seen. Mary Poppins. Well, then you can't speak on it. I have male genitalia. Thank you. You watched The Notebook, bro. I don't think you can be... No, I was forced to watch The Notebook. I don't think you can be calling Mary Poppins. I was forced to watch The Notebook. I don't think you can be calling Mary Poppins. It was emotional. It was on my own. Be serious, man. Mary Poppins is a great movie. It's not. Eddie, but you're talking to a lady that will allow her son to wear dresses. Well, see, yeah, there you go. It's child abuse. What about Enchanted, Eddie? Your other favorite movie. First of all,
That movie was terrific. And it was not a girl movie. Oh, it's about a princess who sings with animals and falls in love. There's a sword fight in it. Oh, there's a chimney sweep in Mary Poppins. What does that have to do with anything? What does a sword fight have to do with anything? Everything. Yeah, a chimney sweep. Ah, come on. Dancing on rooftops. And I'm an adult. I can handle it. Kids can't. What kind of harm is it going to do? Who knows? Is it going to make your child homosexual? It's possible. Is that what's going to happen? It's possible. It's possible. Oh, whatever. You guys are wacky. You don't know nothing. Come on. We also decided that we will wait until Jake is about 10 to see Wizard of Oz. That's a scary one. That's kind of creepy. I feel you. I feel you. I don't blame you. It's scary. And I said, just because stuff happened with us when we were kids don't mean that we have to do that.
I saw that movie when I was five. It freaked me out. That monkey scene is the worst. See, and that's what Rebecca says, too. It wasn't the monkeys for me. It was that witch. It scared me, man. Yeah, she was scary. Babe. Eddie is in agreement. No on Mary Poppins. Sorry. I support it. Let's move on. I support Mary Poppins. No. Tootie Fruity. Tootie Fruity, babe. Isn't Mary Poppins a movie that's dear to your heart? Me? No, Eddie. Me? I've never seen it. He's never even seen it. He can't speak on it. Are you kidding? I've never seen it. You want to know why? Because I'm a boy. Because he's a boy. Because I'm a boy. No, the kids in that movie, there's a boy and a girl. But it's a cheap movie. It is not. It's for girls. It's for little girls. It's for kids. It's for little girls. It's cute. That's a girl movie. I love milk. You love the Central Park scene from Enchanted when they're singing and dancing. I am an adult. I am an adult. It's the truth. I am an adult. So you're not going to let your kid watch Enchanted?
When it's an adult? Sure. It's an adult movie. You are ridiculous. It's an adult movie. Fruit Loops is not dinner. Thank you. Hello. Or a way of life. What? What, babe? What is the vote? Eddie and you are clearly voting no. Yes. No, Chris. Guy is clearly voting yes. Absolutely not. What is Ashley voting? I think it's absolutely fine. I don't see a problem with it at all. Nope. Rob? Rob. Nope. Tootie Fruity, babe. Sorry. So it's three to three? Yeah. Tootie Fruity. Yeah, but I'm like Simon. I get the deciding vote. No, you do not. That is not true. That is not true. Love you, honey. Hello? Don't be showing him sound of music either. Yeah. Come on, hon. Let's think this through. None of these movies. That one has Nazis in it. That's kind of... No sound of music either. It's weird. Can you hear me, babe? Yeah, I just, I'm not getting very good reception. I'm at Belleville Park. Okay. All right. I'm sorry. It's okay. Go check out that IMAX. You're so weird. I know there's going to be people that are like, oh, get over it already. Blah, blah, blah. But come on, man. No reason. There's no reason. Why are you putting your stuff on them? They're just kids. Let them be kids. Because I controlled the stuff. Yeah.
See, show him little boy stuff, man. But you're putting your issues on that. I don't have an issue. What are you talking about issues? I'm great. Your issue is that Mary Poppins is, you know. Hey, listen. You're telling me you're not putting your issue on your boy when you put him in a dress? I didn't say I'd put him in a dress. I said, I'm not forcing him into a dress. I never said that. What's that dress on? Yeah. Wear the dress, Jimmy. I said if he wanted to wear a dress. I would never put him in a draft. Yeah, you think that's not putting your issues on him by letting him wear that? Who's causing more harm? Exactly. You guys. Yeah, you're hostile. What? P1 Goliath, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up, Goliath? Hey, you got to let your kids watch Mary Poppins, man. You got to let your kids watch Mary Poppins. I don't got to do nothing. Why do you say this? My kids watch an Iron Man, bro. That is not true. It is true. Why do you say that our kids should see it? Because she becomes excellent.
alone time material for teenage boys. Okay, you didn't need to bring that up. Ah, see? Sky, hello. I kept waiting for her to pull a whip and chains out of that bag. Sky, what's up? What are you thinking? You in on this guy? Sky's like, okay, I changed my mind. Don't show him Mary Poppins. This is a kid that watched Mary Poppins. You want my kid turning out like this guy? And he likes girls? Oh, I love girls. Of course I do! Freaked out. I'm really freaked out. Freaked out. Freaked out about it. Not at all. Everything. Everything. Jeez. I'm uncomfortable. Seriously. Seriously. Stop it. You want to wreck? Hey, Mikey. Yes. Mikey, what about a Princess Bride or a Labyrinth for your boys? Haven't seen Princess Bride. Labyrinth is too scary. Yeah, Princess Bride is great, but you don't want to show them too young because there's some... Scary stuff in there. And I know that Labyrinth is too scary. That's creepy. That's a creepy movie. Too scary. That traumatized me. I used to watch Phantasm when I was like five. Me too. Yeah. That was the problem. Alcoholic. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hey, this is P1 Rich in South Bay. What's up? Hey, what's it called? I had the same problem. My wife wanted to watch my son watch Tinkerbell with my daughter. No, we went downstairs.
Went on the TV, watched Boomerang, and guess what was on, dude? What? Thundar the Barbarian. Yeah! Thundar the Barbarian? Love Thundar the Barbarian. Oh, man. After that, we watched the Herculoids, too. Mm-hmm. And what was the name of that goofy sidekick that Thundar had? The one... I forgot the name, but... He looked like Chewbacca? Yeah. I forget what that guy's name was. Wanna be Chewbacca. Yeah, that's what he was. Well, I'm just glad you guys... Somebody email me. You guys have women in your life, so get it. How old is your kid going to be when you let him see Iron Man? Like three. For real? What's bad in Iron Man? Too much violence. I don't care about that. Explosions. I love comic books and stuff like that. At three? That's fine. He'll be playing with an Iron Man doll. And stuff like that. And action figures. Well, he can play with a doll. Well, then he's going to want to know, dude, what's up? Well, you can tell him the story. Show me the movie, bro. And I'll be like, all right. That's what your three-year-old is going to say. Show me the movie. I'll be like, come here, sucker. I'll show it to you. Hop on my lap. The heck is going on? And he'll be like, whoa, check it out. Tony Stark. These are lies. Is that not lies? P1 Buckley has a legitimate question. Yeah, I was just wondering, since this guy's going to let her son wear a dress, how about, is she going to let him wear the mom shorts, too?
Sky, if he likes the mom shorts, will you allow him to? Any kind of shorts. I don't care what he wears. Even the mom shorts. Shorts are shorts. It doesn't matter. They're going to go up past his nipples. Hey, it's all good. Then they'd be called overalls, okay? Not shorts. And overalls are fine, too. If you want Sparky. Hey, what's up? What's up? I want to get Sean's view on this. I want to get Sean's view on this. Too soon. Too soon. Too soon. Are you kidding? Sean's watching Mary Poppins right now? Yes. You know that. In all black leather. Oh. All right, no. Why? That is creepy. Too soon, right? Yeah. That was why it was not right, because it was too soon. Mikey, she'll last call. Bring us home. Hey, let this guy know that any kind of short that shows off front foot should be banned. Well, let her know.
No, Eddie, he didn't really mean to let her. He didn't really mean to. I am. It's fine. He didn't. Okay, never mind. Too late. Ladies and gentlemen, the lovely and talented Missy is up next. And today on The Nooner, she has your all-request lunch hour. It'll be fantastic. So you get to call in and request anything you want to hear. And we will see you again tomorrow at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out late.
