It's a Mikey show. And, oh, man, there's a lot of stuff going on, mostly Obama. And last night, and what he said to Congress. It's Congress, right? Yeah. What he said to Congress. We'll get into it if you want to talk about it, if you saw it and you want to talk about it. 570-1053 is the number. Text us. Put this text address into your cell phone and text us this way. Text Mikey. at gmail.com. Text Mikey at gmail.com. We would love to get your texts. I don't know about you guys. Everybody see the Obama speech last night? No. No, I didn't. And I'm bummed. You're the only one, Rob? Yeah. Everybody else saw it. Five people on the show. Myself, Eddie, Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. There's five of us. And You know, one thing I just want to say before we get into any of it is that I am so over people clapping. Oh, dude. Oh, dude. I could barely pay attention to what Obama was saying because I was so annoyed with these standing ovations and applause. And I don't know how the rest of the world or anybody hasn't told these politicians.
How annoying that is. And how us as the public hate it. Because there's nobody that likes it, Republican or Democrat. You can't like that. Yeah. It's so annoying. Well, who's in charge of the applause button? No, it's not like the Tonight Show. What? No. You want to know what I think the worst thing about it is? I think it's divisive. Yeah. Because Obama will say something super liberal. And all the libs will stand up and the Republicans stay sitting down. And it's disrespectful. And they're making a statement. We don't agree. That's so divisive. If everybody just sits down and doesn't applaud and let him just get it out there. Yeah. Right before it started, when he came out and everybody was applauding forever, I said to my husband, I'm like, do you think there's any chance? that he's going to tell them to hold their applause till the end. Oh, I wish he would. Yeah, and my husband's like, you know what? There's a chance that he might do that, but he didn't, and I wish he would have. I don't think they would listen to him anyway. You don't think so? No. Not with Pelosi, you know, the Speaker of the House, sitting there on the edge of her seat. You just can't wait to jump up. Yeah. I mean, I'm like, dude, she's not even paying attention to what he says. She just is like...
Oh, do I stand? Stand, stand. No, sit down, stand. Sit down, stand, sit down. And you could tell even Joe Biden towards the end was like, really? I got to stand again. Some of those old guys I was feeling bad for. Nancy Pelosi had a big foam number one finger. She did the clap of sticks. She had this look of like... I am so in love with you, Obama. I want to just jump on you like a piece of ham and I'm Sky. It was just like that. It was just like that. Thank you for painting that visual. You get it, Rob? I really love ham. And Obama. Holy butter dish. I felt like Nancy Pelosi, when he would be speaking, if she wasn't doing the stand-up thing, she had that. smirky like you know like so you know what the look was the look was we're in charge yeah we're in charge and i thought to myself if i were a republican i would and i had you know my guys up there
I would want my guys to just sit there and don't get a smirky look. And the reason I don't want them to have a smirky look is because I don't want Democrats to say, and did you see that smirky look on the Republican's face? I don't need any of it from either side. Let's all pretend that we're one. I wish we could do that. Just pretend that, you know. Well, it's funny because that's like SNL, you know, they'll do their political skits and that's their bit on Pelosi. Is where, you know, she'll be talking to like a Republican and she'll be like, well, it really doesn't matter what you say anyway. You know, we're in control. Yeah. That's their bid on her. So here's what I was thinking yesterday. Yesterday, I was thinking if you own stocks, buy them. Yesterday, I was thinking that because I was thinking tonight he'll give his speech. He'll instill a sense of confidence. And tomorrow, everything will go through the roof. So, I don't know. Hopefully, today, everything goes through the roof. Fingers crossed. Yeah. Let's see. On my phone, I have a stock button. And when I hit it, we can see where, because the stock market's open now, right? Does it open at 9 or is it 930? Yeah.
It has just barely inched up from closing yesterday. Yesterday it was 7,313. That's what the Dow was, 7,313. Right now it's 7,350. And so what that looks like to me is that everybody is like, you going to do something? You going to do something? You going to do something? What are you going to do? What did you think of what he said? What are you going to do? So we'll see, man. I don't know. Okay, so. Before I say anything, I got to tell you this. Eddie and I are conservative Republicans. Just get it out there. I got to get that out there. Eddie and I are conservative Republicans. Sky is a very liberal Democrat. What up? Ashley is... I want to say she's a liberal Democrat, but I honestly believe that sense can be talked into her. I do. I believe. See, look what you're doing already. I believe she could be. So she has no sense if she's a liberal Democrat? Well, I don't believe any liberal Democrat. Is that what you're saying? I think sense could be maybe talked into all of them.
Except if they're too far gone. Like, I think Sky may be too far gone. She's way too far gone. Oh, whatever. You know? She's lost. It's because you guys dig your heels in. I enjoy hearing both sides because I'm very new to politics. This is, like, the first year I've even been interested and actually paid attention. And so I would say most of my beliefs and the things I believe in are, like, I'm a Democrat. But at the same time, Mike, you're right. Like, I see a lot of your points, too. Maybe we can get you. I see a lot of your sides, too. Rob, what about you? I'm curious to know what you think I am. It's hard with you. It honestly is. It's hard with you because A, you don't talk. That's an interesting point. Yeah, so figure that out. And so it's hard. I don't know because I don't talk very much. I think that he's a Democrat with a lot of Republican views. He gets annoyed with environmental stuff. He gets annoyed by a lot of Democratic views, but yet he'll be in the Democratic Party. Right. That is actually accurate, Eddie. Nailed it. He did. Now, I'm going to give you a conservative Republican's view of Democratic government.
Democratic government to me as a conservative is do as I say, not as I do. I'm going to tell you all these things that sound so wonderful. And that's what I want everyone to do. Now, I, the Democratic politician, I'm rich. I don't care. So I'm rich. It doesn't really affect me. It doesn't really affect me either way. I want to hear the rest. Listen, I'm a Democrat saying this. I'm actually, I'm pretty well off. I'm a politician that's done pretty well for himself. Pretty well off. Pretty well off. And so I will say, I will say all this stuff. And it isn't that I don't believe it. I do believe it. I do believe it. But it isn't really going to have much of an effect on me either way, what happens here. Is that the most convenient thing? It's not. It's not. It sounds great. And I think everybody should do it. I think I'm going to do it, but I'm going to give it some time. Now, Sky, what is it? Describe in your own words what a Republican is. What do you think a Republican would say? Greed.
And self-interest. It's all about greed and self-interest for the Republican Party. Whatever benefits them, whatever benefits their friends, which is the wealthy like 2% of America, that is how our country is going to be run just for their financial benefit and gain. And who cares about everybody else because whatever. Yeah. Now, this is the issue. This is where we are at odds because some of what I think. about Skye and her liberal beliefs may be true. And some of what I believe about her liberal beliefs may not be true. Same goes for her. She has this belief about me as a conservative. Some of it may be true. Some of it may not be true. But what we do have is we got a liberal in office. Oh, thank you. Handsome liberal. Thank you. It's a wonderful day. And, you know, as a conservative, when I'm hearing him last night, I'm thinking to myself, wow, doesn't this stuff sound fantastic? It sure does. It sounds awesome. It sure sounds great. I was proud. I was inspired. This is what the conservative thinks as they hear it, though. The conservative, I think, sees themselves as a bit more of a realist. And so they hear all these wonderful things and we go.
Wow, that sounds great. How are we going to pay for it? How are you going to do that? How are you going to do that? How are you going to do that? Now, what Obama says makes a lot of sense. Well, what we're going to do is we're going to raise some taxes from all you richies. And we are going to use that. To pay for blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's one small way. That is one small way. Go ahead, Rob. Just real quick, because when you're saying, you know, all this stuff that he was saying sounds great. Does that mean that you're kind of in agreeance? With him? Oh, yeah. I'm not talking about the means that he's going to do it, but what his plan is. We don't know how he's going to do it. I'm saying, so his plan, you're kind of going. Well, everything that he says, you know, is great for the country. Sure. Which, you know. Everyone wants. In some regards, it's stuff that we've heard before. You know, I mean, even Bush wanted to do that stuff, but he never did it. Same with Clinton. Mentally, I was thinking, you know, Republicans are going, oh.
It sounds great, but I don't agree that he should be doing this. But so you think it sounds good. And it's like fixing the economy, you know, better health care, better education, like all that stuff. So the trouble part comes. Yeah. How are you going to do that? Yeah, that's that's where the trouble comes. I mean, what human being alive would not be down with the deficit being cut in half? I mean, of course, I love that idea. And if he does what he says, which is he has people going through it with a fine-tooth comb and finding every wasteful spending thing and getting rid of it, that would be amazing. Now, I don't know if people realize, every president says they're going to do that. They say they're going to get rid of wasteful spending, and they don't. Yeah, they don't. And so I would love – I mean, if Obama actually does what he says, it would be huge. Yeah. I have my reservations. During the campaign, Obama, you know, while he was campaigning, during the campaign, he talked about how much he was against lobbyists being brought into administrations. And he's pointing the finger at John McCain and saying, this guy likes lobbyists. And yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And when you hear that, you go, that sounds good. That's right. Lobbyists are bad. John McCain did that.
And now he's nominating a well-known lobbyist to work in the Department of the Treasury. That's not good. No. Now, but when he does that, first of all, it's not very widely reported. I'll be willing to report it, though. Of course you will. You'll be the first to report it. I'll be willing to report it. I appreciate that. And my response to it is, it's okay, man. Whatever, dude. You can do it. The liberal policy is they tell you, don't do it, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. I'm going to do it. But don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. And there's something about that that, to me, is skeevy. So then, Sky, what's your take on that? That he points in the finger and now he's doing it himself. You point one finger? Yeah, you guys did the same. How's it go, Ash? The same, because you got your hand. And guess what? You point one finger at someone else, guess what? You're putting three against yourself. Guess what? Get it? You know what? Guess what? Get it? Thank you. Thank you. P1TCAT is on the line. Good morning. Good morning. I love you guys. Love you back.
I know what you guys think about Obama going around signing autographs like a rock star. That was awesome. It's weird. It's not awesome, Skye. I would have been in line, bro. I would have been right there. Of course you would. Me too. You know why? Because he's a celebrity. He's the biggest celebrity in the world. Because everybody loves him. Yeah. Skye. Isn't there an appropriate time for that? They've never had a president do that before. Well, of course. We've never had a president go, what did he say about Biden at one point? He was like. You don't mess with Joe. You don't mess with Joe. Come on. You don't mess with Joe. Because he's a real person. You know what? There are some in this chamber and watching at home who are skeptical of whether this plan will work. And I understand that skepticism. Here in Washington, we've all seen how quickly good intentions can turn into broken promises and wasteful spending. And with a plan of this scale comes enormous responsibility to get it right. And that's why I've asked Vice President Biden to lead a tough, unprecedented oversight effort. Because nobody messes with Joe. Yeah! Well, Joe messes with himself, quite frequently. That doesn't count. Yeah, that doesn't count, Mike. T-Cat? Yes. What did you think? He's a good talker. Absolutely. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. When you...
read things like Entertainment Weekly like Eddie does and you watch enough entertainment stuff, you start to get a feel how show business works. And when they're casting a leading man, here's what they look for a lot of times. A voice. A deep voice that sounds cool. You know? Commanding voice. Charismatic. Good looking. Tall. These are the things that we look for in a leading man. And we found our leading man. Sure did. He's handsome. He's well-spoken. He delivers an incredible speech. Doesn't have a very great degree of experience and says one thing and then does the other. But, but, he's good looking, man. And he sounds great. So you can overlook everything. He's got a lot of great ideas. Yeah, he's got a lot of great ideas. I do too. Yeah, I do too. I got some. I mean, I can't do them, but I got some ideas. Not like his. You know what I mean? How'd you like how he kind of screwed up in the beginning and didn't let Pelosi introduce him? Okay, that was so funny. That was so awesome. Which were you watching, ABC, NBC, or CBS? I was watching CBS. What did they say about it? Katie Couric came on and goes, oh, well, you know, that shows Obama kind of, you know, his inexperience and not really knowing what's going on, you know, like he did with the inauguration. You know, he kind of flubbed.
A little bit. Sky, were you watching CBS, NBC, or ABC? I was watching CNN. What did they say? I didn't even notice. But I was fast-forwarding through all the beginning applause. I waited until he actually opened his mouth to push play. So I didn't even know that actually happened until you guys brought that up. Yeah, at the very beginning, he speaks before he's supposed to. Pelosi's supposed to introduce him. But he messed it up. Whatever. Yeah, whatever. It's funny. Yeah, totally. Because you don't see it. You don't see it very often. On ABC, they said Charles Gibson, who I believe that Obama may be on his gay island. I think Charles Gibson is in love, is in love with Obama. Most people are. Gay Island on Fox this September. And before Obama even came in, he says, I go, I'm shaking my head like, I can't believe what my ears are hearing right now. Charles Gibson says, the president is about to come out right now and truly the majesty of this moment. Calm down. And I'm like, my jaw drops open. That's just ridiculous. I'm like, this is weird. It is weird. It's weird. It's creepy. You know what else I think is weird? What? The whole pomp and circumstance of...
It's not just Obama. It's every president. It's like still we're in the 1800s where we're announcing, and now the president of the... The song? No, no, no. When they have a big speech like this in front of Congress. They announce, and now the president's cabinet, and they all walk in. It's like they're wearing powdered wigs still. It is. Oh, I wish they would. Oh, I wish they would. I'm over it. Let's move on. That's what you wish? That would be great. Government has to have these traditions. Why? Because, dude, that's what our founding fathers would have wanted. I don't care. But you're the king of tradition. I don't know. I'm the king of change, man. No, you're not. You're not even finding out the sex of your baby until it's born. What's the point? It's a tradition. P1 Joe.
Mikey, why do you guys hate Obama so much? Thank you. Wait, wait, wait. Thank you. Thank you. Wait, wait, wait. Sky and Ashley love him. I love him. He's asking, why do you guys? You and Eddie always bashing on him. I can tell you why I bash on him. I can tell you where I stand with Obama. I don't like Obama. I don't particularly care for Obama's character. Last night they were showing before he came out, they were showing how last year during the same session when George Bush came in, Edward Kennedy was walking in. Oh, yeah, Ted. And Edward Kennedy had just switched his support, had just done a thing where he had switched his support. And Obama turned his back on them when he was doing the, and they were showing still photos of him doing this thing where he turns his back. And it was to show that, you know, he didn't like either Hillary Clinton or Edward Kennedy. I can't remember which he was trying to do this to. Passionate man. Yeah, it's passionate. It's also disrespectful and it shows little character, in my opinion. Now, hang on. And the other part of it is that I think that Obama is, I think that he is a little phony. I think he's a little phony. I think.
I think that that's the gist of it. I get a whiff of that. I think that that's the gist of it. Yeah, I don't see that. I think he's the most genuine president we've ever had. I think he's doing a good job so far. I mean, just give it a little time. Well, here's my thing. Well, he just started out. He's not going to snap his fingers and everything's going to happen within a week. Don't expect that. My thing is I actually do like Obama. I like him a lot. I think he's a cool cat. And I like that we elected a black man as president. Like, I love all those things. What I don't like, A, I obviously don't like his politics because I'm on the opposite side of him. And so some of the things he says I don't agree with. What I really dislike isn't about Obama. What I really dislike are the people. who put this guy already on this giant pedestal where he's done nothing yet. And my whole thing is like, chill out. Like, let the guy get in there and see what he can do first before we say, oh, he's the greatest president in the history of the world. And it's all these things. And that really irritates me. What I've seen, P1 Joe, what I've seen is him get elected and I've seen the economy slip further in some part based on the discouragement that he has.
had for the economy when he has spoke about it. And so he's learning on the job and they told him, no, you can't do that. You got to go in there and say how things are going to be great. And that's what he did last night. So I'm seeing the inexperience that everybody that ran against him talked about. But I don't dislike him. I don't dislike him. All the things that everyone else responds to, I see as well, and I do think is kind of cool too. How can you not? He's well-spoken, he's handsome, and he's charismatic. How can you not like those things? And I like them like everybody else. I don't like them at the level. That everyone else does. Everyone else has elevated him to majesty, which I think is creepy and weird. You got Sean Penn saying, you know, we've elected an elegant man. Please do. And I hear that and I go, that's so weird. It's creepy. Who cares? Yeah. I don't care if you're elegant. Just get the job done. Yeah. Like, that's weird. Yeah. Maybe Sean Penn cares. Good for him. I think it's idiotic. Yeah, he cares about that. He does. He cares about the elegance, you know.
I care about sustenance. I don't care about elegance. Well, let's listen to some of them. He sounds great. Let's listen to some of them because he does. He sounds great. And I think it's worth playing back the clips of him because this is what he does best. Let's get pumped up. We know the country that harnesses the power of clean, renewable energy will lead the 21st century. And yet it is China that has launched the largest effort in history to make their economy energy efficient. We invented solar technology, but we've fallen behind countries like Germany and Japan in producing it. We also helped China to become so thriving by sending a lot of our business over there. Thank you, Bill Clinton. Yeah, and we also ignored the green technologies. Thank you, President Bush. True. She's got a point. She's got a point. New plug-in hybrids roll off our assembly lines, but they will run on batteries made in Korea.
Well, I do not accept a future where the jobs and industries of tomorrow take root beyond our borders. And I know you don't either. It is time for America to lead again. It is time. It is time. Bring all that business back to America, President Obama. I agree. Yeah, he said something to the effect of, you know, not giving the tax breaks to people who ship our jobs overseas to keep in the jobs here. And I saw some of the Republican faces go, what? Well, how about we just stop? sending this stuff overseas. How about we just stop sending it overseas? We do it right here in America. Well, we can't stop companies. We can't control the whole entire company and tell them what to do and where to go. Yeah, we did. You couldn't do it. You couldn't send it out of the country. You flat out had to make stuff here. And then Clinton said, hey, hang on a minute. Let's do this thing. We start sending it to China. And then what all that'll do is that'll make American companies have to become competitive and it'll be, it'll create this competitive thing. Yeah, right. They said, forget it. We're going to China. It's cheap. It costs 20 cents to do something that costs $4. Same rules there. Yeah. I say cut it. You can't do it anymore. Um, let's see. Education. It is our responsibility as lawmakers and as educators to make the system work.
But it is the responsibility of every citizen to participate in it. So tonight I ask every American to commit to at least one year or more of higher education or career training. This can be a community college or a four-year school. Vocational training or an apprenticeship. But whatever the training may be, every American will need to get more than a high school diploma. And dropping out of high school is no longer... Man, I am down with that. For real. I mean, that makes sense to me. Honestly, I mean, see his plan on how to do that. I'm for it. In fact, I think that the reason for crime is because kids just aren't smart, you know, so they got to go to whatever they got to go to. But, man, I think if kids were smarter and they had more of an education, we wouldn't have as much of an issue with it, personally. It's not just quitting on yourself. It's quitting on your country. And this country needs and values the talents of every American. I love that.
Yeah. I love that. Sure. I do, too. Awesome. So, well, the phone lines are blowing up, and you can text us. Text Mikey at gmail.com. P1 Suburban Cowboy. Hey, Mikey. What's happening? What's up, dude? Not much. So I was just listening, and you love to point out the inexperience of Obama. But what about the inexperience of George W. Bush? You're right. The man was very inexperienced, and the experience he had, his past history showed every business that he was in charge of. And look what happened. Yeah. And look what happened. I mean, you're not going to hear me and Mikey on the air being like, hey, George Bush. But at least what Obama was involved in was successful, you know, even though it wasn't a long-term history in politics. No, no, no. So was it. Listen. George W. Bush had some fantastic successes in the state of Texas as a governor. I wasn't going to vote for him. I didn't vote for him. I didn't vote for Bush. I didn't like Bush. And, you know, man, you have a great point. I can't discount it. He had a poor record, too. Now, when we take a look at, he had inexperience, too. Now, when we take a look at what happened, I don't know that what happened was a result of inexperience with George W.
I don't know about that. I don't know. Man, I just, I don't, there's a whole lot of stuff I'm not sure about with George W. Blame George W. for anything, because in my personal opinion, not like I know, he really wasn't in control of anything. You know, he was the guy on the poster. He was the face. You know, we need to look at Dick Cheney and all the other guys who are actually running things and actually making decisions, in my opinion. You think it was Condoleezza and Cheney that were calling the shots? I think it was. Yeah, I think it was all Cheney. I think Cheney was the president of our country. Really? And all his boys, and they're all the ones who made all the decisions. Him and all his boys. There may be something to that. There may be something to, hey, listen. That's just my theory. I don't entirely disagree with that theory because it may have been a case where Bush was like, you know, inwardly going, I don't really know what I'm doing. I got here, and I'm super stoked, but I don't really know what I'm doing. But these guys are smart. I'll listen to these guys. They're smart, I think. Who knows? Who knows? But will we see the deficit cut in half in four years? It's better to reach for the stars, Mike, than to not reach at all. There you go.
Let's just try to think of it that way, right? I don't know about that. So you'd rather not reach at all? No, of course I do. Of course I want to. But if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, then I don't trust you. But if you try your all to get it done and it takes a little bit longer or whatever, that makes you a jerk. It makes you a failure. I disagree. I think if you give 100% and you try your hardest to accomplish what you say. That's America today now. Just try hard, Billy. I know you came in last place, but you get a ribbon too. The goal is to accomplish it. That's what I was talking about yesterday. Dude. You were talking about Aquanet yesterday. That is true. No, no, no. I thought about this all day yesterday because it translates into everything. It's not just green stuff. It's the hypersensitivity of America today and how everyone's a winner. There's no stupid people, just stupid questions. Exactly. No, there are some stupid people out there. I'm sorry. It's the truth. We'll be talking about Obama throughout the morning. Your woods is bad stuff on that list.
I'd love to have some kids. I've been thinking about kids. I want to have, like, 19 kids. I think naming them, that's going to be fun. Whatever the names that you come up with, that's exciting right there. You get to both decide, hey, do you want to name that? No, I don't like that name. It's like a little game. P1 Bloody Bill. Tell the story as briefly as you can. Okay. After I had first signed up for AIS about six months ago... I called back with the insurance company that I originally had to see if I can get a better deal now that I had a quote from AIS. And I talked to them and they basically told me no. And about two months later, I got the gift card in the mail. And so I called them up to see why they had sent me a gift card. And they said it was from somebody I referred. And they told me the name of the person. I didn't recognize the name at all. They said her name was Amy. And he's like, I don't know an Amy. And finally, she mentioned off the cuff that she just happened to work for the insurance company.
that I had called for before. So what had happened was it was a lady that I had called to get a better quote from, called into AIS to get a new quote. So the lady who works for your old insurance company heard that you got a better deal with AIS and she then switched over to AIS? Oh my God. So anyway, dude, thank you for telling us the story. I appreciate it. Nice. I appreciate you. Thank you, bro. AIS is number 1-800-777-4AIS. By the way, I want to give you the AIS. It's AISinsurance.com. Musicians, these are historic times. Well, the ride's still looking pretty good out here this morning. We had that one accident still wrapping up to watch for on the right-hand shoulder. South 805 before Miramar Road. Other than that, just a minor delay maybe developing out of Escondido in the South 15 as you come down towards Felicita. A little bit of spritz throughout the county, making the roadways just slick enough to cause some problems, especially those off-and-on ramps will slow down, making those three-way transitions. And the border waits until about 45 minutes at San Isidro. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Gary Hurtica for the giant Kearney Pearson Ford and Kearney Pearson Kia. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I got a two-year-old son. I have a wife named Rebecca. Eddie. Daddy had some drinks. That's right. Sky. You know, because I don't buy dessert, because I shouldn't eat dessert. Boston Rob. I'm a romantic. I can't help that. And Ashley. Wake up. Take out. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. It is 6.42, and right before we went into that break, I told you that we were going to play you some audio. Of Nancy Kerrigan. Now, in case you just woke up from a coma. Oh my gosh, I did. You did? What is going on? This might help you. Because I'm going to tell you about Nancy Kerrigan. Now, Ash, do you remember the Nancy Kerrigan situation? For sure. For sure. She got clubbed, man. Yeah, dude. And at the time, they thought it was some whack job that just did it. But then as they started to investigate, they realized, no, it was her competitor, Tanya Harding.
And her boyfriend, Tanya Harding's boyfriend, Jeff. Galooly. Jeff Galooly. Wow. Yeah, dude. That's impressive. Jeff Galooly. You're good. They got together. They got somebody, right? It wasn't Jeff himself, was it? Yeah, some big fat guy. Some big fat dude? Yeah. Big fat Paul? Yeah, big fat Paul. Was it really? It was. I heard that. As soon as they walk off the ice, as soon as Nancy walks off the ice, some hired thug hit her in the knee. And Tanya was doing this to try to take her out of competition. So they were asking Nancy about this recent appearance that Tanya just had on HBO. She was on HBO very recently discussing the event, very fresh in her recollection. You'll see. Take a look and a listen of what she had to say. How much responsibility do you think I need to take? I paid my debt to society. All right. I live an everyday life trying to succeed in whatever I do, trying to keep a roof over my head. How much punishment do you think I need to go through? Now, there's more. There's more. They just played the clip for her. So Nancy will respond to it. My take on what I just heard, because I'm just hearing that for the first time. My take on it is it probably hasn't changed much in terms of that accountability level.
In other words, what you're hearing is, I paid my debt, but I'm not very sorry about it. Right. Yeah. I paid my debt, but get off my back. Right. And so that's sort of the tone. Now, I don't know if back in the day. What we had was, oh, man, did I mess this up? I am so sorry. Maybe we did, but I never heard that. I don't ever remember her being very sorry. It's always been a reluctant deal. So let's see what Nancy says. From your perspective, what is the answer to that question? Oh, I have no idea. You know, I'm worried about my life. I have three children to take care of and worry about. Excuse me. My life's moved on as well. And, you know, I live an everyday life and taking care of sick children yesterday and having to go home to another one being sick today. So, you know, I just don't really think back at all the negativity because it's such a waste of energy and time. Bravo. Wow. Bravo.
That's impressive. I couldn't be that cool. She's kind of been that through the whole thing. She's always been above it, which is pretty cool. Because I would have been like, no, you didn't. How dare you? More Nancy. When you watch the videotape, when you think about that all those years ago, what does it mean to you today? Oh, I'm so proud of myself. It's amazing. It's like I have a whole different life almost now. And to look back at the work I put in after being attacked was 24 hours a day. I mean, very, very rigorous. I couldn't have gone to the Olympics without working out in the pool so that I could use the resistance and keep strength. I couldn't bend my knee. So when I look back at... Eddie, Google and find out what damage was actually done to that knee. Being able to come back. It was almost impossible, but yet I had a great team of helpers, and I obviously couldn't do it alone, but a lot of hard work. I'm really lucky for the influence my parents have on me to be able to, you know, I guess, deal with such a thing. Hey, Nancy, I wish that your folks would write a book. Yeah, seriously. Whatever they did, yeah, how did you do it, right? Because whatever they did was the right way. Yeah. That's a very...
confident, articulate, well-spoken, sounds like a pretty well-put-together kid. Now she's not a kid. Now she's much older. It sounds like she has always done it the right way. I can't ever imagine being physically attacked like that. ever really being able to let that go you know i i'm not that big of a person yeah it's and it's tough listen this is the reason that it's tough and sky and i were talking about this uh last week or a couple weeks ago we were talking about the whole let it go thing right it's tough to hear those words oh yeah you know it's tough for someone to say to you let it go yeah just don't think about it And the next time you're working with a hammer and you knock yourself on the thumb, let it go, please. It hurts. There's a tremendous amount of pain involved in it. But there is some ways to, in practicality, let it go. There are some things that you can do in order to do it. One of the analogies that I've used for this is,
Picture you're driving a car, right? And think of right now, as you're in your car right now, think of somebody that has screwed you over. Think of somebody that has hurt you in your life. And you're driving a car, they're in the passenger seat. Go back to a time before they'd ever harmed you, before they'd ever done anything wrong to you. And they say, hey, can you pull over for a second? And you go, yeah, sure. Now remember, they haven't harmed you yet. You pull over, they get out of the car, and they're gone for a couple of minutes. And then a few minutes later, they come back out of this building, and they've got on a ski mask and a duffel bag, and they jump in the passenger seat, and they throw the duffel bag in the back seat and rip that ski mask off, and they go, drive, drive, drive. And you do. A couple blocks up, they go, turn left here, and you turn left. They go, turn down this alley. You turn down that alley. You're confused. What's going on? Suddenly, you realize they just went into the first national bank of you, and they robbed your loot.
And they got in your car and they threw it in the back. And you have effectively become an accomplice in your own bank robbery. And you're helping facilitate the robbery by driving them and the loot around. You're helping. So the suggestion, and hopefully this is a little bit better than just let it go. Right. The suggestion is to get out of the car and close the door. And looking through the driver's seat at them sitting in the passenger seat and say to them, hey, man, you just ripped my bank off. And if it were up to me, you would go take the loot back and apologize and say you're sorry. But you don't have to. You don't have to do that. It'd be nice. You don't have to. And the reason that you don't have to is eventually you're going to have to see a judge about this. Eventually, the law will catch up with you. And you will be dealt with one way or another. I'm not going to be the one to do it. Like I said, be cool if you drove back, said you were sorry. But it's all good. You can split. I just wanted to, you know, let you know. And then you walk away from the car. You don't keep driving it around. Because the crime was done. And the more you keep driving it around, it's like that sense I heard that one time, that statement I heard that one time.
Having resentment for somebody is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Yeah, true. I mean, you are just poisoning yourself, man. Oh, yeah, I do. You know, by having something for them. And honestly, when you don't drink the poison, you're much better off. And don't worry, they're going to be dealt with. See, that's part of the problem, too. See, a lot of times we go, okay. If I'm like Kerrigan and I forgive or, you know, and I do let it go, if I do, that means they're off the hook. It means I'm letting them off the hook and they don't deserve it. They were a jerk. Honestly, you're letting yourself off the hook. You're not drinking the poison. You're letting yourself off the hook. Have a smirk on your face and go, don't worry. You're going to get taken care of. It ain't going to be me. And trust me, anything I could do to you physically, emotionally, mentally is not. Half as bad as having to one day meet the judge. Take that attitude with it. And that's what you do, man, because otherwise you're drinking the Drano. But I think she turned out all right, that Kerrigan. Yeah. What did you find? She was treated for severe bruising to the tissue and muscle of her knee. And it was a lot of swelling and stuff, but she had no fracture or break. No. Good.
Probably hurt. Yeah, they're extremely different. Not even in the same ballpark. Oh, check this out. Okay, so Tiger's coming back today, right? Yep. I got a question for you. Should we pose a question now, Eddie, or should we wait until... When should we pose it? Now? Okay. Let me pose this question for you. Tiger Woods is back today. Amco. Oh, man, do I love them. You should, too, if you've got a check engine light on especially. Because the deal with it is, if you've got that check engine light, first of all, half of us, we don't know what that means. We see the check engine light, and we don't know.
So a lot of times we'll take it to the dealership. What a lot of the dealerships will do is they'll say to you, yep, we can fix it. We just need to replace this part. And it's a big part and it's expensive and it usually has to do with your transmission. What's cool about Amco is that Amco is, they got a lot of stores and a lot of places. And what they want to do is they want to fix the thing. They don't want to replace the thing. They don't need to fix what isn't broke. If you get that check engine light on, Drop it off at Amco during your lunch hour. And if that check engine lights on, what they'll do is diagnose it for free. If they need to dig deeper, mention that you're a P1 and instantly it's 10% off on all the repairs. You won't get that at other places. You won't get the 10% off because, you know, they don't, other places aren't doing the 10% for P1s. And you're not going to get that at the dealership. So Amco, they are double A.
MCO. Why would you take it anywhere else? Mikey Show. With a Mikey moment. Tattoo. Yes, boss. When we were on the red car pod. Yeah. Did you have to ask Sean Penn if he used method acting in milk? No, was he? He looked too comfortable in that role. I see what you're saying. He did. Yeah. Something was telling me he was using Froot Loops in his milk. Milk? If you know what I'm saying. I don't know what you're saying, actually. I think he was using Froot Loops in his milk. I don't understand you. If you get what I mean. I get it. I think he prefers Fruity Pebbles to Wheaties. I beg your pardon. Okay. I think he's gay. Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. She would know mine. She would know. I didn't consider it. Oh, we speak what? What was that word? Critically. Critically? Yes. Critically? One of the catchiest melodies in the history of mankind is 702, and you probably want to know where that red light is going to be going, the red light camera. You know, they install these cameras. If you run a red light, they take a picture of you. Which, by the way, they have determined that in the state of California is one of the leading causes of divorce.
What? What are you saying? See, when they take the picture, they send it to your house. Oh, no. And a lot of times the wives go, um, who's that in the car with you? It's a true story. Are you serious? It's a true statistic. It's a true story and a true statistic. Oh, snap. Snap is right. Yeah. But they are putting in a new red light camera. Sky, where's it going? It is going in Mira Mesa, Mike, at the intersection of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Westview Parkway. Really? Yeah. If you get caught with the red light camera, you get a minimum penalty of $436. Since they just put it in, you get a 30-day grace period. But after that, there you go. Really? I'm going to go up there and drive through it a few times. Yeah. So this is the 12th. The 12th red light camera here in San Diego. Get it out of your system. Dude, when I was in, when I went to visit my brother Steve in Phoenix over the Christmas break, all along the freeways in Phoenix, they have cameras. And if you're speeding on the freeway. What? I saw they do it in Europe. Yeah, in Europe they do that. Oh, suckers. Dude, and people in Phoenix are so, like one guy went to jail because he was so mad.
He flipped out and he destroyed one of the cameras. He was so mad that they were taking pictures of him in his car. And then there was another one. There was a story when we were there because it was Christmas time. And these three kids from ASU got busted because they were mad at it. And they dressed as Santa Claus so that they would be in disguise because they knew they were being filmed. made the cameras into presents. What? College kids are so funny. I love it. Creative. Creative. College students. And they stuck presents over like boxes that were wrapped so that they couldn't take pictures. Not a bad idea, right? Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Guess who's back again? All right, before we talk about Tiger Woods coming back, Guess what else is back today? What? Baseball! Yeah! Baseball's back? Spring training games begin today. Socks play the Twins! Go Socks! Yes! I think more people would be interested if the Padres are playing Seattle. Yeah, you would think so, right? Wait, what? You would think so. I mean, we're not in Boston. We're not in Boston. We are. We're not in Boston. I feel like I am in spirit.
San Diego Padres. Yeah, San Diego taking out Seattle today. Go Sox. And I wonder what's going to happen as A-Rod takes the field for the first time as the Yankees take on Toronto. What I would do to be there. What reception he's going to get. Oh, my. That should be interesting to say the least. The final rosters are set for the World Baseball Classic. And Jake Peavy is going to anchor the United States rotation. Nice. And him and Roy Oswald, man, that's a great one-two combination for the United States. Got Derek Jeter, Dustin Pedroia on the team, and Grady Sizemore. So the U.S. is looking pretty good. Jake Peavy is representing the United States of America. That's awesome. The Kansas City Chiefs have released three big-name veterans, including former Chargers linebacker Donnie Edwards. Really? He was released and now on the free agent market, and they also released their quarterback, Damon Huard, and defensive back, Patrick Sertain. Maybe the Patriots will take him because they always take old Charger players that are not really, you know? Booyah! Junior, Rodney, maybe they'll take Donnie. They could use him. Yeah, we really could. Ryan Leafs out there. Oh, wow. Ouch. Okay.
Tiger Woods is making his return to the Lynx today in the WGCA Accenture Match Play Championship. This is pretty cool. This is where it's kind of like the March Madness style tournament where golfers go against each other. He's taking on Australian Brendan Jones in the first round. What is this thing called? It's the Match Play Championship. Cool. How long does it take? It's now until Sunday. So they start with 64 golfers and they get down to whoever wins. Tiger won it last year. So he's the defending champion. Dang. So, Eddie, what do you think, man, with this knee? Well, here's Tiger talking about him coming back. Yeah, it's great to be back. Sorry I'm a little late. Forgot how long it takes to play 18 holes walking. But, no, it feels great to be back out and get back out here in a competitive environment again. And it feels really good. Almost forgot what it was like to dominate the world. Yes. I forgot what it was like being the best player on the entire planet. Oh, my, dude. I think Tiger's going to be great. I don't know that he's going to do well in this tournament. Most people are picking him to win it. Really? Because he's Tiger Woods. And if he does, you know, just cement his face in Mount Rushmore right now. Pretty much. The guy would be Rob. But it's golf, Eddie.
What does that mean? Don't act like that. Don't start this. What does that mean? Remember, we did this whole golf talk a couple of years back and it didn't turn out good. Tell me what you mean. Tell me what you mean. It's golf. And? I mean, it's awesome that he dominates, but I mean. It's more of a skill, right? I mean, it's not really. Thank you. Absolutely not. That is so incorrect. Such an insult. Bo Jackson played baseball and football. Such an ignorant insult, too, because you haven't even ever really... It's true. Athletic ability 100% to play golf. I played some golf in my day. Yeah, and you were terrible at it. You have no athletic ability. I wasn't terrible. You were terrible. I was great from the sand. Yes. It's interesting because ESPN right now is doing this. Every state, they're doing their sports Mount Rushmore thing. And I think they should just do an unequivocal who is on the Mount Rushmore of sports. Four people. Four people. Who would it be? I like it. But what are they doing? They're doing it by state. Oh, okay. That is awesome. I hope Massachusetts goes through with this. Well, they're not really building them. It's sort of an idea. No, they really should.
If I were doing a Mount Rushmore of sports in general, Tiger Woods 100% would be on my Mount Rushmore. Eddie, you're saying that they're going, okay, so who would be on the Wisconsin Mount Rushmore of sports? I don't know if they're doing every, because obviously Delaware, who would you put on there? I think they're doing the big states like California, Texas, Pennsylvania. What about if they were just definitively to say the Mount Rushmore of sports? Tiger Woods would be on there. Absolutely. Michael Jordan. Wayne Gretzky? No. Because there's too many other people that are bigger. I would put Muhammad Ali. Babe Ruth. That would be my four guys. And Jake Peavy. No. There's so many football guys. I couldn't pick one. I couldn't pick one. Tom Brady. No, Rob. Nobody from Boston. So no football player? No, I wouldn't have a football player on my four guys. Which is crazy. Four guys in sports you would do? Tiger, Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Babe Ruth. Because they dominated. Yeah, they changed the sport. Tiger Woods changed the sport of golf. He's incredible. He can't be beat. Some guy just wrote in right now and he's like...
I don't know what the big whoop is with Tiger Woods. I beat him last night on the Wii. Okay. Okay, guys. I beat him on PS2 countless times. Eddie, do you beat Tiger when you play him on video? Yeah, I haven't played Tiger Woods golf in a long time, so I haven't even played him. All right, so here's the question. Is Tiger Woods the best athlete ever? Eddie, make the argument as to why Tiger Woods could be the best athlete ever. He's the greatest player and the most dominant player ever in his sport. Now, if we want to make this a debate of whether golf's a sport or not, whatever, but it's covered as a sport. So I'm considering it a sport. And if it is considered a sport, he's the most dominant player that has ever been. And that makes him the best athlete of all time. Just as a side note, do you think that, and I'm going to take it past our lifetime, do you think that there will ever be someone that will be better than Tiger Woods? At golf? At golf. No. You can't say that. No, dude. That is a giant statement. You don't think Tiger's son could be better than him? No. That's it. And listen.
I believe that you're, you know, you're giving it some, you're thinking about, and he's so good. Yeah. He's so good. He's going to put his records and everything by the time this guy's done is going to be so far out of reach that I don't know. I mean, not in my lifetime will anybody ever become close. Okay, I get maybe in our lifetime, but Mike said in all of time. Like, you know, people probably said the same thing about Babe Ruth. Oh, yeah, maybe. Well. I can't imagine. I can't imagine. You know. I wonder, though, I wonder if maybe people said, I don't know about in my lifetime if anybody would be better than Babe Ruth, but ever? Well, 100% in my lifetime, there will never be anybody better than Tiger Woods. You know, I can see maybe in the future when equipment changes and things, you know, like robot arms and stuff like that. Somebody will probably eclipse Tiger. Every record is meant to be broken, but for me, just the guy's determination and his heart and his will to win, I've never seen anything like it. I've never seen anything like it. Check this out. We just got a text at textmikey at gmail.com that says, I think it's time to put B-Rob's pennies where his mouth is. I propose that the next Boston Rob, Eddie,
challenge should be mini golf. Oh, let's do it. Let's see if it's as easy as he thinks. I love it. I love mini golf. Eddie would smoke you. I love mini golf. You're done. I love it. It's all over. You're done, Rob. I mean, I would prefer regular golf, but I'll do mini golf. Oh, whatever, dude. I'll do regular golf, too. I am money from the sand. Why would you ever want to be in the sand? I'm money from the sand. I'm just so ridiculous. I don't know why. You don't want to be in the bunker, Rob. Why would you even be in the bunker if you're that good? What? Oh, geez. Oh, no. If you and Jesse. Yo, what's up? Go ahead, brother. Okay. The question. No. What? Golf is golf, but greatest athlete ever? No. No. And Boston Rob, I cannot believe. Are you sure you're really from Boston? I don't think you're from Boston. I think you're freaking faking it, man. I am. You're on to me. Why do you say you think he's faking? He had named Larry Bird. Yeah, but dude, on. I mean, I would love to. Come on. No, dude, I would love to, but I have to be fair here. And Larry Bird immediately jumps to my mind, dude. There's a million players from Boston. But when it comes to basketball, and this is what I was going to say to Eddie, dude, Michael Jordan was just the best athlete I think ever. I mean, and talking about changing the sport, changing.
Like, a culture, man. Like, Jordan was everywhere. And I think that kind of takes away from Tiger because it is golf. And I'm not talking about is golf a sport or not. Tiger's everywhere. It's a sport. Tiger's probably the most recognizable athlete in sports today. Tiger's everywhere. Maybe in the world. But, dude, when Jordan was, you know, at the height of his game, I don't think he gets better than that. Question, Eddie. Captivated this nation. And I don't think. Tiger has captivated the entire nation. Like, even if you didn't like basketball, you were still watching it. I'm not watching Tiger. If we take Tiger out of the equation, who do you think is the next biggest argument for you to be the greatest athlete ever? I would say Jordan. Jordan? Yeah, because Jordan had that. To me, you know, if you have that determination and that will to win, like, you give Michael Jordan the last second shot. He's going to make it. 100 out of 100 times. I mean, the guy, he has that uncanny ability to do that. Tiger is the same person. Like, he's 50 feet away from a putt to win a tournament. You know he's going to make it. Like, and that's crazy. That is. It's almost impossible. And, you know, I'm looking up the word athlete in the dictionary describes a person trained or gifted in exercises or contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength.
A participant in a sport exercise or game requiring physical skill. Golf requires physical skill. It 100% does. If you don't believe it, you've never played golf. I like it. I don't think it requires as much physical. That's not the argument. No, no, no. You're right. It's not. But I'm just saying it doesn't require as much. I agree with you. Basketball doesn't require as much as in track and field or swimming. You know, I mean, that's kind of a fruitless argument. P1 Bellboy. Didn't you call me? Fruit loop. Good morning, guys. Tootie Fruity. Go ahead. Go ahead, P1 Bellboy. Yeah, I just want to say, guaranteed, if you gave Tiger Woods 10 shots at a free throw or 10 at-bats against one of the best pitchers, I mean, guaranteed you might get at least... one hit out of ten shots, but give any other athlete a chance at what he does at his sport, no one would come close. That's true. Thank you. Some of the names that we're getting on text message, textmikey at gmail.com, that we haven't mentioned are Lance Armstrong, and probably based on geographically where we're located, we're getting a lot of Kelly Slater. People are thinking, I mean, a lot.
A lot through text message and by phone calls. Surfer. P1 Casey. Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up? Yeah, I mean, I don't know if you've ever surfed or anything, but I would say surfing, if it's the most challenging sport, it requires the most stamina. Get pitted. So pitted. You've never tried surfing and tried standing up on a wave. Dude, those barrels. That's right. Dude, you get the best barrels ever, dude. I just think it would have to go more on recognition. If I saw Kelly Slater walking down the street, I would have no idea who he was. Well, that's not the question, though. The question is who's the best athlete ever. I mean, it's not who's the most recognizable athlete. I mean, as far as requiring, a server, he can go out and shoot a basketball. He can play golf. He can do all that. But you put any of those other guys on a surfboard and watch how uncoordinated. You just get spit right out of them. Yeah, you do. Get pitted. So pitted. I think, I don't know. I just feel like you have to take the recognition thing. I feel so hypocritical because I almost want to say surfing is a hobby and not even really a sport.
Don't you dare. Don't you dare. Is it covered? Is it covered? Yeah, it is. It falls under your definition. It falls under your definition. I know. Did you hear that? I admit I'm being indifferent. You're not kidding, so you don't know. Did you hear that? Yeah. What's up, Mikey? How are you doing? Good, man. I'm sorry. I've seen Kelly Slater golf, and he is an extraordinary golfer. And I think if you put... Tiger Woods and Kelly Slater in a golf match that Kelly Slater might, like, he would do better than any other athlete. Dude, you get the best girls ever. Well, wait a second. I mean, if we take that logic, Jake, then let's also take Kelly Slater and put him in the octagon. Okay. I mean, if you're saying, well, if you take Tiger and you put him on a surfboard, he's not going to do that. Okay, let's take Kelly. But I would stick him in an octagon and see how he does against those athletes. And I would imagine Kelly Slater's probably golfed for a hobby. Tiger Woods isn't going. You know what I mean? Give Tiger a year to surf, and I bet you he'll do pretty good. Yeah. Because he's got athletic ability.
But if you think surfing is a hobby, then golfing definitely has to be a hobby you love. Yes, I agree, 100%. Listen, calm down, everybody. No, because you and me have a war. Calm down, a war. You just get spit right out of them. I can't believe you, Eddie. This guy, he's just like Obama, huh? Saying one thing and doing another. No! Wow. I recognize surfing as a sport. I do. But it's tough because it's not very popular, you know, as far as, like, coverage goes. You're not going to see surfing on SportsCenter and stuff like that. I 100% agree. Some more names that have not been mentioned. And just for that P1 I called in, Larry Bird, Bobby Orr, Tom Brady, and Ted Williams. 100%. Well, I was just running through my mind. You don't care about Ted Williams. You're terrible. How about this name? Michael Phelps. Ah, dude. Get out of here with that. He's incredible. Look at the guy. Look at the domination that he had in the Olympics. But it was the Olympics. He did something that nobody ever could do. But are there other competitions for swimming? And I'm being honest, I don't know. Do they go and have swim-offs? Yeah, they have meets, like swim meets and competitions. P1 Philly's Finest is online. Sorry for the ignorance. PHI to the LOI in the hizzy. What's up?
So I hear you talking about Tiger Woods, and I got to agree. Yeah, Tiger Woods, best athlete ever. Why? When you talk about basketball and football and baseball and other sports like that, they have teammates to rely on if they're not exactly doing the job. Tiger's doing it, and he's dominating all by himself. He's got a good point. What would Jordan have been like if he hadn't been surrounded by Scottie Pippen? You know what I mean? What would it have been like? Have you ever heard of Tiger Proofing? No, what is that? Golf courses did this thing a while back called Tiger Proofing where they actually did everything they could to keep Tiger from winning. That's what I mean by he changed the face of golf. They would lengthen holes or they would put things in the golf course. to try and make it more difficult for Tiger because it was too easy for him. I heard that. That's weird. It's crazy. It's awesome. That's weird. It'd be like raising the hoop up to 15 feet. They did. Because Michael Jordan was so good. For every game he was there. And they gave him a ball that was too big. It was one of those. It was a carnival ball. You're so dumb. So it could never go in the hoop. Did you hear that? And he still won. It was a carnival ball. I read that on a blog I wrote. You wrote the blog? Yeah, of course. Okay.
Where else am I going to get this stuff? Text Mikey at gmail.com. Somebody texted in and said, why isn't Tony Hawk being considered? Yeah, another good point. Hey, Eddie, is that a hobby or what? I don't want to say that now. I don't want to say that now. It is. Obama spoke. The Republicans had a chance to give a rebuttal, and they said that the Democratic plan is irresponsible. 1-0-5-3. Taste of happy hour. Skye, do you remember what Shauna said that was? Like how that worked? Taste of happy hour? It's some big thing in the gas lamp this weekend where, you know, a bunch of different places are, you know, doing food and drinks and stuff like that. It should be pretty cool. Yeah, because it's usually, it costs like 40 bucks to go or something. Yeah, something like that. We're going to have tickets though. Yeah. We're going to have tickets so people can go for free, which is kind of cool. Okay, so. Babana. Gave his big speech last night, right? Yeah. Talking to Congress and letting Congress know what his plans are to change the world. And so after he was done, basically the Republicans had their chance to rebut. Now the dude that was doing the rebuttal for the Republicans, he is an up-and-coming star in the Republican Party.
Yeah, they're thinking he may go for it in 2012. Well, Eddie was saying that he thought this guy was trying to be like the Republican version of Obama. 100%. I mean, he was kind of cheesy. Yeah. You know, like, I'm so comfortable in front of the camera. Yeah. I was not a big fan. And he's Indian American, so, you know, he has the minority. We have to say now it's Indian American. We just can't say this guy's Indian. It's native. Indian-American. No, no, it is not. It is actually from, you know, India. But he's Indian-American. Here he is, Bobby Hindal, governor of New Orleans? I mean, of Louisiana? Here we go. Democratic leaders say their legislation will grow the economy. What it will do is grow the government, increase our taxes down the line, and saddle future generations with debt. Who amongst us would ask our children for a loan so we could spend money we do not have on things we do not need? That is precisely what the Democrats in Congress just did. It's irresponsible. That's one thing that he said about it. And here he's talking about what Katrina showed us. Today in Washington, some are promising that government will rescue us from the economic storms raging all around us.
Those of us who live through Hurricane Katrina, we have our doubts. What does that mean? I don't understand that. That you can't really depend on government to rescue you from things. You need to depend on people taking care of themselves. That was after his big story. What was his story? He told his story about after Katrina, he went to go see his friend of his who's a sheriff. And the sheriff was like screaming in the phone, like, we're going to do it. Come arrest me if you don't want us to do it. And he's like, what are you yelling about? And he's like, you know, we have all these people, volunteers in boats ready to go help people and save people. But some bureaucrat showed up and said, no, you guys can't do this unless you have insurance and the proper permits and all this stuff. And, you know, the governor was like. no, that's stupid. Like, go do it. And the guy was like, well, and the guy started screaming in the phone again, and we have the governor here, and he says, come arrest him, too. And, you know, he's, like, telling this whole story. It was like, whoa. Yeah, the overall thing was just how this guy is Mr. Laidback, which is what Obama kind of does, you know? And so they're seeing that as a winning formula. He probably will do well. We'll see. It was interesting. It was a...
A couple of things I wanted to mention last night. President Obama. What an honor. I didn't get a chance to. Will you sign this first? Absolutely. I have a Sharpie. Put your shirt back on. I will not sign those. Okay, wait. Too big. Would you? Okay. Hey. You can get right on. Short story. Going to need a spray can. Okay. One of the things that I. I meant to mention last night, but got extremely distracted trying to figure out. I couldn't really get to it because I was so distracted as to whether or not John Kerry is a robot. Oh, wow. Well, yeah, I think we know the answer to that. Intelligence is telling me he is a robot for sure. Yeah, looks like it. I don't think so. By the way, in regard to education. Yes. We really need to reach the kids before the age of 15 because my studies are showing that their brains will only be capable of processing information directly from YouTube. Oh, really? That doesn't sound right. Might be a good idea to get a hold of them before then. That's true. That's weird. When I was talking about the economy last night, I ran out of time. You did? Yeah, I did, but I wanted to talk to America about...
Some important new legislation to help increase America's wealth. Oh, good. We need this. Here's my plan. Every $1 bill will now be worth $100. Whoa. That's huge. I'm a hundredaire. That's right. Now, this may cause some problems with the 99-cent store. Oh, yeah. And the dollar store, if I mean. But I think it should be well worth it for everyone else, which is what's important. I love it. That's a great idea. One thing I forgot to mention on education. Yeah. I think that all our household pets should be enrolled in college. Wait. Pets? Our pets? All of them. Why? Every household pet should be enrolled in college. I think everybody should be in college. Our nation's pet population is one of the dumbest in the world. Wait, Obama, how can you even tell that? Teddy, look at Skye's cats, for example. Well, that is true. Absolutely.
Oh, no. Get those animals educated. Dito full belt. She works on arts and crafts. I have it on good authority. Dito doesn't get it. Whatever. By the way, I forgot to mention that I think an alien attack is imminent. Oh, wait. What? I'm tired of you scaring everybody. I'm sorry. This is real facts that we have to face. You don't know that an alien attack... I do know. As a matter of fact, that's why... I have nominated Will Smith to be head of the alien attack festival. That's so stupid. I actually like that idea. I feel safer. He did kick butt in Independence Day. I've seen iRobot. I saw that documentary as well. It's not a documentary. Yeah, it was. I considered Harrison Ford, but after viewing Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I don't quite get it. Okay, well, that's true. I understand your point there. So, Will Smith it is. All right. That's interesting. Eddie, we're in a very grave time. Yes, that is true. And I have reason to believe that if we don't all stop buying groceries immediately, there won't be any left for Callista Flockhart. Callista Flockhart.
That's weird. I actually couldn't think of a more relevant joke. Yeah, what I was going to say. Interesting reference. At least a flock heart. Okay. That's fine. I mean, Misha Barton. Yeah. Eddie, how about this one? Yes. We will be more desperate than Sky showing up late for a Goodwill butter dish sale. Really? Really? I like that one. All right. That's right. Nice work. That's a pretty good one, isn't it? I liked it. I liked it. Bad times are ahead of us. I just need to let everyone know. You've heard of this gloom and doom. Eddie, my counsel told me that Rhode Island might die. Really? I want to die. Die from what? I knew it was coming ever since Friends ended and Joey's spinoff was canceled. What? What are you talking about? That was a very bad sign. Okay. Sometimes I just sit in my car and I listen to the song, I'll be there for you. This is not right. in a crime. You do? I do. He's sensitive. He's sensitive. Have I mentioned to you guys that the scientists that I have have been consulting and they've been telling me that our stock market is the Abe Vigoda of stock markets. Wow. In what regard? It's ready to die. I'm going to tell you right now, these same scientists have also confirmed to me that we're going to run out of air by the end of April.
She's out of air. Breathing is like my favorite thing to do. I know it is. Obama. I know it is. Can you do something about her? Can't do anything about that little guy in there. That's weird. That's weird. Now, tell me if y'all can get behind this one. Okay. Hopefully it's something positive. Yeah, please. I promise to bring back the McRib full time. Oh, yeah. Eddie. There we go. I love you, Barack. I'm going to do this by April 8th of this year. Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. The birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you, Barack. Thank you. You are the best. So we are. bigger and better things to worry about? No, we don't. We don't. We do not have bigger and better things to worry about. Did I ever tell you guys how they make those? It's delicious. It's so good. I love the story. He soaks in that sauce, onion, pickle. Oh, yeah. And it's the perfect mix of tangy. Yes, and sweet. And sweet. And sweet. Kind of like you, Brian. And sweet. Yeah, that's right.
Just like me, tangy and sweet. I love that. That's awesome. That's weird. And finally, this is the last thing I forgot to tell you last night during my speech, but finally, I do not accept a future where you cannot smoke cigarettes in restaurants and public places. No, wait a second. That seems like very personal. America is better than this to you. You are better than this. You should be able to smoke wherever you want, bro. Wherever you are. You should be in. It is time. Happy birthday to me. It is time. No, no, no. To smoke cigarettes. We have babies, children. We have people everywhere. I really enjoyed working out yesterday. I worked out with Wendy. She's my trainer at Frogs Fitness in Encinitas. And I had that feeling. You know, I'm wearing my workout clothes. And guys, you could probably relate to this. And even you ladies can. But guys probably can't because of the whole testosterone thing.
But you finish doing a set of something and you just feel like kind of like your chest is out a little further and you're standing up a little straighter, you know, and you're looking at yourself in that mirror and you're going, I'm feeling different. I'm looking different. I'm feeling different. You know, when you're trying to explain to you, you know, my job is an announcer trying to explain to my audience why it is that you should go to Frogs Fitness and enroll. Yes, Mike, I have a gambling problem. No. I mean, we all know. Boston Rob. I'm a catch. Come on, man. 7.50 in the morning, and before we went to break, I said that Dr. Phil, he can't wait to tell you about something that the Octomom said to him. And what was it, Skye? Dr. Phil.
is such a media whore. Grosses me out, dude. Doesn't it kind of get where he, and you would think he's a smart person, he doesn't get that people will take him less seriously? Right. I mean, isn't his income based on people sort of taking him seriously and him having some level of credibility? I mean, because dude, I mean, you're right. People are like, enough already. So the Octomom taped two episodes of the Dr. Phil show. The first of those two episodes are scheduled to air today. And, you know, she taped those a few days ago. Well, Dr. Phil called the L.A. Times yesterday to let them know that just yesterday he received a call from Octomom and she was really, really upset.
And she claims that she had just received a warning from Kaiser Permanente where she had her octuplets that they will not release the babies to go home with her because she does until she has a better living arrangement. Whoa. Really? So that she may not be fit right now and until she can prove that she can care for these babies. Yeah. in a safe environment that Kaiser will not release the babies to her. So, of course, the L.A. Times. I didn't know the babies were. I thought that the babies were with her. No. They've been in the hospital the whole time? Yeah, they're preemies. They're preemies, and that's why people are upset, because it says, like, Medicaid, that's, like, paying for all this care, you know, totaling millions of dollars. And you've got to figure that a hospital social worker would check up on stuff before, right? Yeah. So this is just business as usual. Yeah, so Kaiser was called by the L.A. Times and said... And they said, put urine. They said, take a cup. My egg. Okay. You put urine in it and it'll heal the sunburn. Really? No. It seems weird, but okay. Okay. I'll trust you. We'll try it.
And Kaiser says that they do not comment on, you know, people, other people's business. And, you know, that's not their deal. But, you know, it makes sense if she already has six kids. She's living in a home that's about to be foreclosed on. She's living on disability and food stamps. And, like, they're going to let her take eight preemies home. But Dr. Phil was real quick to call the L.A. Times and let them know all. Thank you. What a sweetheart. Now, I wonder what his answer to it would be. Would his answer be, oh, well, you know, it was obviously important to me that they, that the Times know about this because it's, is he saying it's an injustice to her? Or, like, what would his take be, I wonder? He thinks that an injustice is being done here and he wants to alert the media so that she gets her babies back? Or is it, you know, because she called him in confidence. What's he doing here? That's a good question. Yeah, my thought is she is going to be on his show starting today, and this is a great way for guaranteed publicity for that show airing today. That's brutal. That's just my thought. Now, you're probably right, and it's brutal. It's gross. Yeah, it is. It is. Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye. Okay, is everybody driving right now, everybody that's in their car, is your seatbelt on nice and tight and everything? Yep. Not sure why you're asking. Well.
It's time to do Cheater's Hotel. Hey, dude, warn me next time. I tried. I tried. I tried. Snap me in the face and call me Sally. Uh-oh. All right, Sally. I ain't doing that. Here's the deal. Cheater's Hotel, if you believe that your spouse, your husband, your wife, your boyfriend, and your girlfriend may be cheating, what you do is go to MikeyShow.com. There's a little space on there that says Cheater's Hotel. Tell us about it. I went to the sinus doctor yesterday, and one of the gals was saying, hey, I got a friend. She wrote, hasn't heard from you guys. And I said, we get a ton of these. And we do. Unfortunately. We do. We get a ton of these where people are thinking that their husband or their wife or their boyfriend or their girlfriend may be cheating. And so we have George on the line. George, are you there? I'm here.
George, how are you? I'm doing okay. I'm going to get some information from you, and as I ask you these questions, where basically the audience is listening, and so they get to find out the information as well. George wrote us, and you wrote us about your girlfriend, Allison. Let's get some information about you first, George, and then we'll get some information about Allison, okay? Hang on. Let me ask you. How old are you, George? I'm 27. Okay. And how old is Allison? She's 24. Okay. And how long have you guys been dating? Let's see. About two and a half years. It'll be three years Labor Day weekend. Two and a half years. And let's see. What does Allison look like? I mean, she's pretty hot. I mean, yeah, she's kind of petite. You know, she's actually kind of tiny. She's got brown hair, blue eyes. She's, you know, I mean, I've got to give it to her. I mean, she's got a really nice body. Yeah, she's blessed. She's got a great smile. Okay, Rob. And there's a lot of good things about her. What do you look like, George? Me? I don't look like much. Oh, come on. Obviously, I got the Marine haircut, and I'm about six foot.
About 189. You cut real fit? Okay. Take it easy. Are we talking here? You sturdy? How are your pecs? Stop it. Ashley, you're molesting him with your words. Stop. Okay. George, what makes you suspicious about Allison? Well, I was overseas, and I've been gone for, oh, man, I was, well, I mean, I was gone for almost a year. When I first went overseas, when I first got deployed, she was writing me all the time. At first, it was almost every day. We were talking a lot, at least when I could get comms. Then the letters kind of dropped off, and I wasn't hearing much from her. It was kind of like I would have to talk to her. I would have to call her. I was only getting responses. It was just like she stopped writing me on her own. Then I got home. Things seemed okay when I first got back, and it was nice, but she had given me the password to her MySpace page. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's talk, let's talk, let's talk, let's talk. She gave you the password to her MySpace page. How did that happen? How did that come up? How did that go down? Well, basically, I had one as well, and I gave it to her, and she gave me hers.
Why did you do that? Like, why did you guys do that? Like, it's unusual. Well, because, I mean, you know, when we were first dating, I mean, it was it was just us. There wasn't anybody else. I mean, I was, you know, I was 10 feet tall and bulletproof around there. And, you know, I mean, I, you know, you know, here's the deal, George. And I don't mean to sound like I'm, you know, got a spotlight on you and I'm interrogating you. And I'm going to ask the crew here to help me if anybody can kind of see. Like, how do you go, hey, let's give each other our passwords. Yeah, let's swap passwords. Maybe a sign of trust or something. Well, maybe it wasn't even like that. But, you know, for some reason, one or the other had to log into someone's... Like, I've had my brother log into my MySpace to, you know, fix stuff for me. I told him, like, this was... You know, when I first got on and I just said, hey, I want you to do this for me. Or post pictures for you. Yeah, because I couldn't do my own stuff. And I had, you know, Gabe and Al kind of just going to town for me, putting stuff up and making it look cool. Was that the deal, George, or was it about? It was a lot of it was that. But a big part of it was is where I was stationed. A lot of times it was there were a lot of blockers on what we could like as far as like email addresses, everything else.
And so by using hers, which was a really common one, I was able to actually log into MySpace and send messages through her site. Okay. Her page when I couldn't use my email to get onto my page. Got it. Got it. Okay. Okay. That makes sense. Okay. And so now you're back. I was back and we were just kind of sending messages and I was looking at photos of us. from like two years ago and then noticed that she had she had an album and some of the pictures were marked private and they were marked private and they were only like by invitation only I guess is what it was. It was something where I couldn't see them as a friend. I was logged in through my account not hers and I couldn't see them as a friend and so I got a little suspicious and I went back in and under her account and looked at them and it was There were like a dozen pictures of her with this guy in a bar. So, I mean, I haven't said anything yet, but I was pretty suspicious. What were the pictures like? Well, the guy is pretty cozy. I mean, there's not any kissing or making out on there, but it's almost like... Okay, well, check this out.
This is just one dude's thought, but my thought is if you have to go to the extent where you're signing on as her and you're checking out the pictures and then when you do go on, you see her with some unnamed dude and they're in a bar together, if it were me, and I realize we all got our different comfort levels, it's over. I'm done. I mean, but inside I've probably made a decision I'm probably done. At the point that I decide I got a hack or, you know, go in. I'm probably done at that point. But when I see the pictures, I'm super done. But some people are wired differently. Some people say, hey, listen, it could be your fault for being nosy enough to go in there and you just saw pictures that are perfectly explainable. And, you know, you're taking a leap.
And I get it. I respect it. I understand some people may roll that way. Everybody's innocent until proven guilty. Yeah, but Mike, you know what they say about MySpace now. It's the new boot tea call. Eddie says it that way. He says it's the new boot tea call is the way he says it. Something that Obama made up and now everybody's saying it, right? So what happens when we go out to a party with some sisters, huh? Okay. What happens? Thank you, President Obama. Well, so. Now we are in a situation where you go on, you see Allison, you see the pictures. So what happens? Do you say anything to Allison about it? I haven't said anything yet. I mean, it's, you know, I asked her a couple of times, you know, like it just kind of dropped hints, you know, like, you know, been hanging out with your friends or. What's your gut tell you? I want to trust her. But I also know that if I wind up confronting her with this and she's got a reasonable explanation.
What's your gut tell you? What does your gut tell you? I'm not good. What is a reasonable explanation? Can somebody... Come on, Rob. For taking pictures with a dude? For being in a bar, making a private. The private thing creeps me out. Yeah, that's the thing. But I mean, I could see hanging out with friends and taking pictures. Yeah, I can see that totally. But the private thing is weird, for sure. That's the weird thing. Yeah, that's the... That's what's got me bugged. Now, George... If there wasn't anything to it, why are the pictures private? Now, George, say, you know, in worst case scenario that Allison does give another dude's name. Is this something that you think you guys can talk about and you want to talk about and work out? Or is this something that, like, you're 100% out at that point? God, how can you be in? Well, I mean, he was deployed for a long time. You know, they're not married. I don't know. I'm not saying that it makes it okay.
I'm not saying it makes it okay. I'm not saying that at all. Why do you bring it up even? That was just an opportunity for you to make a reference to the fact that Sky tried to buy a butter dish at Goodwill yesterday. I don't know what you're talking about. Just to me, it sounds like George doesn't want to believe it and that he doesn't want it to end with Allison. So let it be? What do you mean? I don't want anything to be happening. Of course you don't. Yeah. But if it is... But if it is... I... See? Come on, George. I'd be like this. People can change, George. If she is cheating with me, or cheating on me, then I can't be with her.
That's good. Good for you. Good decision. Completely against what Skye wanted. That's not what I'm saying. Skye would prefer you stay with her. I just had a feeling that, you know. Hey, after all, Skye says, your fault, you left for you. I didn't say that. I said nothing like that. Skye. I know sometimes people don't make excuses. Hey, listen, you can use that excuse of deployment, whatever. Thanks, dude. Well, I'm sure if, you know, heaven forbid, she ends up cheating, I'm sure she will try and make that excuse. Oh, I bet she will, too. I don't doubt it. I bet she will, too. But hopefully she's not. Odds she is not cheating. Not cheating? Yes. I'd say 2%. 2% chance. 98% chance you believe she's cheating. I say 40%. You think there's a 40% chance she's not cheating? Yeah. What makes you say that? Aren't you streetwise? Seriously. I mean, I'm looking at a kid that I think has a lot of streetwise and he's like, I think 40%. I believe her, Mike. Yeah, I think she's a good gal. If I saw the picture, it'd be different. What are the pictures like? Because he just said, well, what are those pictures like? Because he said cozy.
It's got to be less than that. Like their arms around each other. And maybe he's hyper jealous, right? What if he's hyper jealous and they're standing next to each other? And that's the other thing because and no disrespect, but I'm one of those dudes. I mean, all guys have it in them, but I'm one of those, you know, like don't stand next to my chick. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're one of those. I am. All right. Ashley, percentage of chance she is not cheating. I say like 5% chance. 5% chance. She's not cheating. I would say now 15. You are all over the place. Ashley just talked him into it. She did. You are great. Thank you. I know I'm going to sound like a pessimist. That's bad, right? Yeah. And my therapist says that I jumped from point A to point C without considering B enough. But... I say 0% chance. What about B? What can I consider? Give me something to consider here. The butter dish. Yes. That's what B stands for, right? You know, this good friend of mine, you know, George doesn't even know about him. He's a good friend of mine. Nothing shady is going on. Fine. 1% chance. Thank you. Yes. There we go. I did it. So you're saying there's a chance. Okay, Ashley. Here's what we're going to do, George. Oh, man.
I've become desensitized. I'm going to tell you the truth. I've become desensitized because I know what's going to happen here. I think. You don't know. I get that weird feeling in my stomach. You know, I'm starting to become hardened to it. Don't, Mike. Have a heart. Come on. All right. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a break, George. When we come back, we're going to call Allison and we're going to tell her that she has won a free night stay at a hotel here in San Diego. I'm going to offer her a gift basket. I'm going to tell her that all we need for the gift basket is the name of her guest. If she says your name, George, then I was wrong. I was the most wrong of all of us. No. Because I only give it a 1% chance. Eddie gives it 2. Ashley gives it 5. Rob now gives it 15. Nice down to 8. Sky? I'm like the stock market. I'm saying 25%. Are you? Wow. Sky?
You're saying that you believe that there is a 25% chance that she's not cheating on him. Yes. Wow, man. There you go. And usually you're kind of like, you know. Yeah, but all he saw was some pictures and the fact that they were kept private is creepy. Well, you know, she stopped, you know, communicating with him and stuff like that. That's weird. Sky is holding out the biggest benefit of the doubt. Okay. Foolish. Stop. I'm going to feel like a jerk if she's not. That means I'm the biggest jerk. And I'm sure Sky will remind you. I don't think she will. I don't think she'll let me know. I don't think she'll bring it up ever again. Alright, so we're going to call Allison. We're going to see if she says your name, George. If she does not say your name, then you are... I'm going to turn it over to you and you can start talking. I don't want it to get too out of hand. Which goes against the whole ratings thing. I don't want it to get too out of hand if she says something else. I want you to watch your language, okay? I want you to watch your language. I'll put you on hold, all right? Okay. Hang on. Call Allison next. Thank you, man. We appreciate it. Thank you very much. Cock-a-doodle-doo? That's supposed to get me out of bed? Yet cock-a-doodle don't work for me. Know what does?

The westbound 8. backing up the Cajon Valley from Los Coaches to East Main. But from there, you've got a good-looking ride until it makes the end of the valley. South 15 stays tough as always. Off to 78 down to Villarancho Parkway as you'll work your way out of Escondido. And the coaster ride's not too bad. Release South Pond 5 a brief delay out of Encinitas off and on towards Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Talk about it. Meow. D. San Diego's Rock. I'm going to tell her that I'm calling from the Orion Hotel, and I am going to tell her that she's won a free night's stay, that she was put into a drawing. And I'm going to ask her what name she would like to appear with her name on the gift basket that we're going to leave for her. If she says George, then we were wrong. And she's probably not cheating. If she says a name other than George, it's not good news. And so you're going to be on the line the entire time, but I need you to stay quiet until she gives a name. Okay. And once she gives a name, You're free to speak, and I'll even let her know that you're on the line regardless of what name she gives. Hopefully she says George. But, George, I need to remind you that you're on the radio, and so don't curse. All right. Yeah, just watch your language. Yeah. Okay. You ready? Here we go. I need you to stay quiet. Hello? Hi, could I please speak to Allison? Yeah, this is Allison.
Hi, Allison. My name is Steve. I'm calling you from the Orion Hotel, San Diego's newest premier high-rise hotel. We're located in the heart of the gas lamp. And someone that you know entered your name into a drawing at the mall to win a free night stay at our property. And we're very excited to tell you that you were selected. Congratulations. No way. Yep. We picked your name just this morning. And there is no purchase necessary. Seriously? Yeah, congratulations. You know the deals at the mall where people put in a name for a friend to win a free thing? I guess. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It kind of works like that. And that's what happens. So there is no purchase necessary, and you don't have to buy anything in order to win. It's not anything like that. It's not a timeshare. It's a free night stay at the Orion Hotel, a brand-new hotel here in San Diego. And you don't have to do anything. You don't have to buy anything. We do need to inform you that it is non-transferable. So you can't give it to somebody. You've got to use it yourself. It's a non-transferable gift. Upon check-in at the hotel, you'll use a credit card but only for a deposit and incidentals. That will all be credited back to your card. It's for incidentals like incidentals.
If you use in-room movies, if you do any of the in-room entertainment, the mini bar, phone charges, that kind of stuff. But I probably have to pay for something, right? Nope. You're not in charge of tax. You're not in charge of anything. It's a free night stay, and our hope is that you'll enjoy the property and you'll come back. Really? It's just a promotion to try to get you to... Is it a nice hotel? It's a beautiful hotel. It's a gorgeous hotel. It's a great view of downtown and it's conveniently located downtown. So all of the things that you might want to do in the downtown area, whether it's Horton Plaza or going to a show or any of that kind of stuff, it's closely in Barcadero. So you can do any of that kind of stuff while you're staying down there. You have 30 days to pick a night. So it's any time between now and the end of March. You have 30 days from today to pick the night. And as an extended gift. The Orion would like to offer you a complimentary gift basket with strawberries and champagne. Again, no charge, just something that we do to say thank you and we hope that you come back. And that will be in the room when you arrive. And what we're going to do is put a personalized gift card with the basket at no additional charge. It'll all just go along as one big package and we hope that you come back and enjoy us again. Wow.
I have your name, Allison. Who else is, what is the name of your guest? And we'll put that on the card as well. This is for the champagne and strawberry basket. It's for, yeah. What we're going to do is we're going to put this in the room the night that you stay at the Orion. And so when you and your guests check in, then we'll just have the gift card there in the basket and the whole deal. And I have to do it like some weekend in the next month. Yeah, within the next 30 days. You have 30 days to pick. So we just need the name. We have your name. We just need the name of your guest, and we'll put that on the card, too. Okay, okay, okay. Josh. Allison, this is Mikey calling from Rock 105.3 Radio. You're on the radio, so please don't use any foul language. Your boyfriend, George, is also on the line and wrote us here at the radio station for something called Cheater's Hotel because he suspected that you were cheating. Oh, my God. George, you there? George?
I'm here. Who's Josh? Josh is just some acquaintance guy that I... You're on the radio. I need to ask both of you to make sure that you do not cuss. Do not use any foul language. I don't talk like that anyway. What the fuck is going on? Allison, George wrote us an email. He was concerned that you were cheating when he was away on deployment. Turns out he's right. Why would you think that? Because you are. What's going on? Why would you think that? What were you and Josh going to do in the hotel? Well, that's none of your guy's business, but I want to know why he... What are you doing? I think it's George's business. Yeah, it's George's business. Why didn't you ask me about that? Allie, you know what? Maybe it's not their business, but it's my business. If you're going to spend the weekend in a hotel with some other guy, I mean, what's going on? Is that the guy you got pictures of yourself with?
The ones you mark private? Pictures of myself. He was on your MySpace account and there were pictures that he saw of you with someone else. Okay, you know, first of all, no. That's not him. I don't even know who that guy was. We both had had a few. The only reason I posted those pictures is because I think I look really cute and I don't even remember that guy's name. And I had nothing to do with it. Hey, Allison. Don't do this. That's a good point, Eddie. Don't do this. Yeah. Are you telling me the truth about it? What was the last thing you told me the truth? When you told me you love me? When you told me that you want to spend the rest of your life with me? You told me you were going to wait for me when I got stationed overseas? You know what, I... You're all for three. Uh-oh. No, I've never lied to you before. And the thing is, like, I mean... Who's Josh? You're getting ready to spend the night in a hotel with another guy. I can't... Who's Josh? You don't have a dog. Who's Josh? Look, I need to have a little... I mean, I had this... I thought an opportunity. You're gone. You know, I'm kind of like... I just wanted to have a little fun. I mean, I would think if you're over there... If you have a chance to hook up with somebody... Like, it's been forever. Like, come on, we're young. What?
What the heck is she saying? Okay, so there you go. I mean, that doesn't... You're justifying the cheating? Yeah, she says they're young and they should... Shouldn't you, like, made that clear to George, like, said maybe a non-exclusive relationship? Wouldn't that have been more fair, though? First of all, I haven't slept with him. And secondly... So then it's not cheating. We should talk. Were you going to ask for an extra cot? Sorry, we shouldn't laugh. be a little bit, you know, cut each other a little bit of slack and like, because I don't know when I'm going to see you again. Well, he's back. He's here now. He's here now. I don't buy what she's saying. What do you mean? This thing with Josh, and sorry, my opinion, Allison, has been going on for a while. You are making no sense, lady. Like, oh, you haven't slept with him? It has not. We've been friends. In fact, George met him. He just does not remember.
That makes it better. That makes it better. Yeah, Josh, if only you remembered him, she wouldn't be having him stay at the hotel with her. It's just weird, like, being away, you know, being apart from each other for so long. You chose to go out with a guy in the military. Did you not know the score? Yeah, I know couples who, if someone's going to be on long deployment, they change the terms of their relationship during that deployment. And, you know, you could have easily communicated that with him if that's what you wanted to do. I was. I know. I wanted to. But I knew that he'd be really upset about it. You are electric. What are you saying? This is your idea of making sure I'm not upset? By sleeping around on me? By going to some guy that... You're right. I have no idea. I'm not sleeping around on you. You're not sleeping around on him. Not yet. Oh. I mean, God. Not yet. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Okay, let's... No, no, no. Let's talk. Let's talk. Not yet, right? Well, if you push me away, then... I mean, you know... You're not... I just want to understand. You're not... Wait, wait, wait. Hang on a second. Allison says not yet. She's not sleeping around yet. Now, what do you mean by that? You mean within the next 30 days. Is that what you meant? Maybe I'm putting words in your mouth. Maybe you didn't mean that. I don't know, you know, what is going to happen. I just know that it's just...
Well, it's weird. You're talking about him. Allison, you're talking about George like he's not here. He's here. Yeah. Yeah, but he's been gone, and it was really weird. Well, then break up with him. Maybe we should have a little more freedom. So say that. So say that. Why go behind his back and sleep with another dude? I didn't even do it yet. Which I still don't believe. You don't believe it? One reason why I should believe you. Yeah. The more I think about this, George, okay, say you haven't slept with somebody yet, but you're going to book a hotel room like almost 30 days. You could have 30 days in advance. You're going to book a hotel room guaranteeing that you're going to be with somebody that maybe you haven't even slept with yet. Like, that doesn't make any sense. Or was that going to be the big night? Well, yeah, but she's going to plan the big night without this dude's consent. Okay, I have a question, Allison. Say you haven't slept with him. Have you hooked up with him? With Josh? No. That's a lie. You're a liar. No, of course not, Eddie. Of course not. You're a bad liar. Of course not. They're friends. Yeah, right. You just blew the best thing you ever had. I was the best guy you ever knew. I was the best guy you ever met. I got you away from that stupid little... Easy. Don't cuss, don't cuss. P1 Maria, are you on the line? Hang on, hang on a second.
Hang on, George. P1 Maria is calling in. Maria, are you there? Yes, I am. Go ahead. I have a comment. I'm a military wife. My husband's been in the Navy for 10 years, and not once he's been on four deployments. Not once has he ever felt that he needed an opportunity to cheat, whereas I'm concerned I've never felt that opportunity. Lady, you need to get your act straight. P1 El Tigre is on the line. El Tigre, are you there? Yes, sir. Go ahead. Okay. I would like to tell George, first off, that one plus one equals two. And basically, he is a dumbass. I catch this garbage. Love you. I'm out. Thank you. P1 Michelle, go ahead and put line three on hold. P1 Michelle, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. I was just calling to say, I've been a Marine wife for 18 years now. My husband's in Iraq for the fourth time. And her excuse about needing to hook up when someone's away is ridiculous. You can hang on and wait until they come home. If you love him, of course you can. And you know, I mean, you knew he was in the military. What did you think? According to her, she hasn't done anything wrong. Well, please. That's what I wanted to ask her. Do you love George? Yes, I do. If you love him, then wouldn't you want to be honest with him? Because you understand that you're hurting him right now. You know, I will, let me just be honest. When he was gone, Josh and I became friends. And it was...
There was, like, this big chemistry, and I didn't act on it. I mean, the most that happened was, you know, we hung out a lot. And, you know. I mean, if you're going to come clean, just come clean. I'm coming clean. Okay, you spent the night once, and we did not even touch each other. We just, like, hung out. And then. I mean, honestly, Allison, Allison, Allison, Allison. I know, but do you, I mean, come on. For a second, I almost thought, like, she might think that she's talking to preschool kids right now. I know. Like, maybe if we, you know, maybe if we're in second grade. Give us a little more credit. We're more like third graders. We're more like third graders. The bunch of us. Yeah. Give us more credit. And I wanted to check it out, because ever since George came out, it's just so weird. And I just wanted to check it out, and I thought this is the perfect time to check it out. Allison, Allison, don't you think that maybe out of the thousands of people listening right now, one person's listening that's had somebody spend the night before? And that we know that, you know what I'm... When you've been alone for a year and you're admitting huge chemistry, but you've spent the night... What we did, though, was we dressed in NASA outfits and stayed in separate rooms. Yes, yes.
You're saying none of you have ever had somebody spend the night and not? I have. But you know what? My boyfriend wasn't on deployment, and I didn't have this massive chemistry. And there have been times in my life where I was different than I am now where, yeah, somebody may have been away and the mouse would play. So you're talking to a lot of people that kind of know the score. I know. I'm just saying that I've been, there's this thing with him, and I haven't done anything because I totally, out of total respect for George and what he's doing. And now it's like, okay. So by respecting him, you said Josh's name. She was going to say that Josh is short for George. P1 Jamie, are you there? I am. Go ahead. Go ahead and set up a romantic evening being a girl for a man because men do it all the time for women. They set up a romantic evening hoping to hook up with the girls. So why can't a woman do it?
Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the point. So, in other words, what you're saying is, why can't she set up a romantic evening with someone other than her boyfriend, hoping that... Well, no, not other than her boyfriend. I think she's talking about my theory, because I'm saying she must have already been with Josh, because me... I'm not going to put myself out there and set up a romantic evening and book a hotel room with a guy that I haven't been with yet because it's putting too much on the line for me. There's no guarantee that, you know, he's into that hotel room. So I'm not going to do that. Oh, well, that's just me. Well, it's a good point. So, Allison, let's walk through this process. You're going to go as far as to book a hotel room with Josh. But you don't even know what he's going to say about staying at a hotel with you. Obviously, your relationship with Josh is to a point where you feel comfortable booking a hotel room stay. But they've never done anything. Yes, because I know he wants to be with me. Allison, have you guys ever kissed you and Josh? Oh, man.
See, geez, get out of here with this. You're gross. We have not made out. No, they have not made out. One time, they pecked. Butterfly kisses. Those who are extremely horny for each other. Butterfly kisses, yes. Who can't be together. Eskimo kiss. Eskimo kiss. One time. One time. One time after he had spent the night and there was no contact when he left in the morning. Right. They rubbed their noses. We rubbed noses together. And then they kiss bumped. Yeah, and they fist bumped. Totally. No, they kiss bumped. Oh, they kiss bumped. But still, that's different. Kiss bumped. But that's still different. Wow. God. Get out of here, Allison. You're better than this, George. Allison, you're better than this. Just come clean. She's not better than this. She's not? This is not that weird. P1 Hot Pink Penguin, are you there? It's not weird, Allie. It's wrong. Go ahead, Hot Pink Penguin.
is completely contradicting herself. George, George, pause. George, hang on a second. Hang on, George. Hot pink penguin, she's contradicting herself? Yeah, because she said when she was explaining her whole situation that she, when George went overseas, that her and Josh became friends, but then she just told George that he'd met Josh before. So which is it, Allison? You guys have just become friends or you've known him long enough that even your boyfriends met him. Which is it? I couldn't hear her. Oh, it must be a phone issue. I knew when that happened. I couldn't either. I couldn't hear the entire conversation. Yes. I only heard what I wanted to hear. P1 Kevin thinks she might be confused. Kevin, are you there? I am here. Go ahead. Hi. Every time you do these, every time you do these. Cheater Hotels, you always leave it so general that somebody put a name in for the hotel. And people are so stupid about cheating. How do they know that Mark didn't put the name in or that the significant other put the name in for the hotel? I'm just wondering where they get the confidence to put in.
someone else's name when they don't even know who put the name in for the hotel. You know, I don't know if it's confidence or eagerness. Yeah, that sounds right. Wow, interesting. I don't know if it's confidence or eagerness because, you know, I'll tell you one thing. You could hear the wheels spinning and there was a lot of, you know, it sounded like there was a thought process going on before she settled on Josh. Did you consider George at any point, Allison? Of course she, I mean, ultimately I decided no, but I considered, you know, what a ridiculous, he's my boyfriend. Of course I considered him. Ultimately had to decide no. That's why nothing has happened with Josh so far. That is why. Because I totally consider George. And I, that is why. And then I figured, nah. Yeah, yeah. What, you know, what, what could George have done differently to have made the cut, Allison? Oh, no. What could George have changed in order to have been able to make the magical cut? Honestly, do you really want to know? I do. I do. He's not the most romantic guy. He's a really, really good guy. But he's not exactly the champagne and strawberry. Way to go, George. George, I'm telling you, this will help you. Believe it or not, this is actually going to make this process for you easier. And I mean that. I mean that. In fact, let me tell you. I've gone through this before. In my personal life.
About 10 years ago, I went through this, and I almost wish that the person had made it as easy as she's making it by saying that. Because you're a good dude, George. What did I say? What do you mean? He basically said, well, you know, if he were a little bit romantic, he may have made the cut. And I just want George to know that the woman that you eventually choose to spend the rest of your life with, who clearly, it isn't Allison. But when you do decide on the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with, George, you will be enough. You will be enough. Just the way you are. Just the way you are. And I'm sorry. Allison, you're probably going to want to make a couple of phone calls. George, I've heard your other line beep a couple of times while we've been on, so I'm sure your buddies are trying to get a hold of you. So best of luck to both of you. And who knows, maybe we'll turn you into The Bachelor or something, bro. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. See you. You know what? In that case, it's better that he knows, man. It is so much better that he knows. How, like, she didn't even, no comprehension of doing anything wrong. That is so trippy to me. Our text is textmikey at gmail.com. Our phone number is 570-1053.

So that's not, like, kind of specific to banana? Like, if I had an orange, probably wouldn't. No. What is it with banana? Orange, you glad you put a banana? Okay, dude. You know what? Banana, cut that out. All right. Bro. I don't get that.

We just made out, and, you know, we'll talk on the phone overnight, have, you know, explicit conversations over the phone, if you know what I mean. Kind of wish his phone was still messed up. And, you know, and to be honest, man, I was really messing around with her because I hated this guy.
Well, that's good. That means you've got a conscience. Yeah, and I want to let guys know, like, if you feel and you think that your girl's going to cheat on you when you're gone, man, just forget about the girl, because... Have you seen Jarhead? You know how his girl cheated on him, too? Totally. Yeah. That's how it is, man. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Now, hang on a second. That's real life. Jarhead, real life. Hang on. John Hall, he gets it. Hang on, Caesar. Is that the one where he's gay? Yes. No. It's every picture he's in. Now, Caesar, you can't just go around saying that everybody's going to be cheating. That's true, man, but... Yes, he can. But he said if you suspect your lady isn't going to be faithful. She totally believed she wasn't cheating on her man. That's true. She was oblivious of the fact that she was going to go to a hotel. I'm not sure I'm getting the point of all this. It doesn't matter, Eddie. Okay. Is the point, because now you got me, Eddie. Is the point.
Oh, yeah, yeah. Is the point, Cesar, that you listen to this cheater's hotel and you kind of went, hey, get used to it, bro. Every girl's going to do that to you. Is that your point? Yeah. Cesar, I don't think so, man. I don't agree with that. I don't agree with that. I think that there are women that will not cheat on their boyfriends or husbands. Well, we got two calls, you know, back to back from military women. Yeah, military wives that fight it as an honor to be married to a military guy. And that's what a lot of women forget, honor. But they're not cheating. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hang on a second, though. Caesar? Yeah. I know that the gal that you were messing around with had a husband in the military that was away, and so she was definitely a shady character. But we also know that you were a bit of a scoundrel. Yeah. Scallywag. Scallywag. Yeah. And so, yeah, you were a bit of a hot dog. No, he said hound dog. Hound dog. Okay, you were a hound dog. And so, you know, that is like saying, Caesar, that every friend is going to do that to their friend. That every, you know, that every guy is going to do that to a guy that they know that's away in the military. And that is a bit of projection.
A bit. You did it. That doesn't mean every guy does it. Yeah, it might be your reality, but it's not everybody's. She did it, but that doesn't mean every woman is going to do that. That's the definition. I heard a lot of stories about the military. Sure, it happens. Sure, it happens, but to paint with a very broad brush that says this is the way that it is, fellas. If you're going overseas, just know your wife or your girlfriend's going to cheat. That's not true. No. There's a possibility. I'm not saying it's 100%. Well, there's a possibility of that in any marriage. I mean, it just doesn't, you know. Yeah, Cesar, would you say that? Isn't it a possibility in any marriage? And you know what? Absolutely. But what I really want to say, it's just a shame that these girls cheat on their guys when they're away at a war, when they're getting shot. This girl's elephant will say, well, I want a little bit of freedom. Oh, you mean the freedom he was fighting for? Ironic. Dude, I have to make a confession. We don't need it. We don't need it. Well, I just am feeling so much guilt, dude. For what? For all the times I have hooked up in this scoundrel-like way. You have not hooked up like this. You are 14. You don't go around hooking up with women whose men are deployed. First of all, T.I. Ashley, if I were...
That age, I would be 16 by now. Okay. You're right, Beto. You're 16. You still never kissed a girl. That's if what you were saying was even true, which it isn't. Because I'm 27, dude. You're not even close to 27. I can't believe you're older than me. I'm 27, dude. And this one time, bro, I was dating this... Right. I'm listening. Go ahead, Beto. I was just saying, dude. You think this is cool. It's not cool. Yeah, it's not. You're going to upset people, Beto. I was dating this Navy SEAL's wife, dude. Right. I'm sure you were. And I felt bad because I had kicked his butt right before he left. You kicked a Navy SEAL's butt. Right. Yeah, dude. He don't want me to talk about it, but. I'm sure he does. Yeah. That's embarrassing. Dude, we got in a fight at this party, dude. Uh-huh. And I was all... Okay. I don't think that's you. This is so stupid. I did, dude. No. No, you didn't. Dude, it was so humiliating. Before I even let him up off the ground, I made him balance a big red ball on his nose. Okay. You're lying, Beto. Seriously, I'm petty. I was all... No, you didn't. See you. Thanks.
You're going to get your butt kicked by saying something like that. You need to be careful. And then he left, dude, and I was all, boom, you're pregnant. To the guy. The Navy SEAL guy is pregnant. You say that every time. Yeah, I do. Really? I've seen it happen. All right. That's my nephew. He's so dumb because he's young and he thinks he's being cool and he's not. Hey, with that last P1 that called, his, I guess, kind of paranoia in a way is. a repercussion of what he did. It is. You know, now he's living in his reality. He is. It is. Anyone, anyone listening. That's yeah. Yeah. You know, now he, cause I believe that that impact is going to last for a long time with him and he's not going to be able to get that, you know, out of his head. If you're in a situation where you are faced with either cheating or being with someone who's with someone, you should kind of think to yourself, If I do this, I'm never going to have a normal relationship without thinking that this is happening to me because that was proof of it right there with Caesar.
Dude, tell me about it. I'm leaving it. Stop it. Shut your mouth. I can't even be in a relationship. You're so stupid. You're 14. You and Nana seem to get along fine. Stop it. Every single relationship I get into, there we are at the counselor, at the marriage counselor, dude. You're not married to them. You're so stupid. I know, dude, but every time we get in a fight, every girl that I'm with is always like, Oh, Beto, don't leave me. Don't leave me. Please come to counseling. Really? Please come to counseling. Yes, please. Were you watching TV again and saw that? And I'll be like, and I'll be like, fine, I'll go, but I ain't listening. What? And then, and then, and then, and then we go. And then, you know, I'm like. hey, I can't even handle this chick. Can you take her from me? And then the counselor's like, you're pretty cute. And I'm like, you're pretty cute. And then we hook up. Is it a guy? Whatever, dude. I don't know. P1 Allison Hooker? P1 Allison Hooker? P1 Allison is a lying hooker. Oh, wow. Maybe that's an abbreviation I read. Go ahead.
I'm just a lonely private and you're guys in T1 Army, but my suggestion is when you say, hey, your name was put in by a friend at the mall and you got chosen, when they give a name and it's the wrong name, you ought to go into that a little bit. You ought to ask them, hey, do you think maybe they're the one that dropped your name in? Or go a little bit further so that they can't backpedal and be like, oh, you know, this and that. You ought to ask them a little bit more about that and then drop the bomb on them. I like it. Interesting, yeah. I like it. Right on, guys. Have a good one. Thank you, brother. One more call, and then we have maybe seven tons of material. Oh, that's a lot. Probably seven tons of material to do today. We're going to need a bigger boat. That's true. Pound for pound. Oh, really? I was giving you the... P1 wifey. Hi. I was infuriated when I heard this. As for the last caller, you know, my husband and I have been married 12 years and he's been in the Navy for 10. And never once have I even thought of cheating on him, number one. Number two, it's a good thing that he didn't, you know, he said that he was considering, you know, spending the rest of their lives together and whatnot. It's a good thing he didn't because he would have ended up being, she would have ended up being a Westpac widow. And anybody who's in the military knows what that is. Oh, yeah. Do you have any kids? Do you have any, hey, P1 wifey, do you guys have kids?
Yes, we have two. Are they boys or girls? One boy, one girl. One boy, one girl. That's perfect. Now, I want to put this out there for people that are considering cheating. This is not a judgment. This isn't saying anything about it because I've been there. I've done it. I've done it. I'm just going to add something to your brain as fuel. If anybody's listening right now and they're considering Being with somebody that is married or is with somebody. Or you are married and you're considering cheating. I want to just have you ask yourself this. What if one day your little boy or your little girl comes to you broken hearted because someone has done that to them? My husband and I talk about that all the time. Yeah, because the truth is that when this happens, That person that you're cheating with or on has a mommy or a daddy. They're grown up. Right. But they were once just a little kid and somebody loves them like a mom or dad. And it's breaking someone's heart. It's breaking somebody's heart. Unless that person is Jimmy Fallon. Wait, say that again, wifey. It sets the precedent for how your children are going to end up growing up.
Because monkeys see monkeys too. They see what you do, and that's how they live. When she said, oh, he came back, he was different. Whether he's on a Westpac, and they're just pulling into ports, or he goes to Iraq or Afghanistan, wherever. They come back different. It takes months, if not years, for them to get back to normal. My husband's getting ready to go on deployment again. And when he came back the first time... our relationship was strained, but you know what? We worked it out and we worked through it because we love each other. And if she wanted to be in a monogamous, if she didn't want to be in a monogamous relationship, she should have let him go before he ever left. Thank you, wifey. I appreciate the call. I was going to move on, but I saw this up on the call screener and thought, maybe we got to take one more call. P1 Sherry says that she was, she heard the cheaters of tell. She heard Allison. She thinks Allison Was thinking of cheating, but has not cheated. Okay. Is that right? Sherry? Sherry, are you there? Oh, no. Oh, Sherry. Just hold on. Sherry, just hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Oh, Sherry. Oh. Sherry, our love. Really? It goes on. Yeah. Really? It goes on. Okay. Should have been gone. Okay. We have a million things to do today. I mean, after all. Are we going to do the whole song?
I could have filled. No, I'm just saying, Sky. You should have been gone. Yeah, you should have been. You should have been gone. Not a lot to do. After all those words of steel. Okay. Okay. Yeah, it must have been a dreamer. Anyway. A dreamer. Whoa. What happened? Come on. That was brilliant. Wow. Sky. Brilliant? Yes. Come on. Here we go. You are the cutest little butter dish. A little secondhand butter dish. Let me tell you something. I do not think that the nickname butter dish will stick. This guy get it? Yeah, I don't notice reverse psychology when I see it. Stick of butter. Oh, our program director is weeping right now. She loves Steve Perry. Listen to that voice. I mean, what kind of creep are you if you don't like that? Oh, that's good. There are two groups. There's one group that recognizes that this is a Steve Perry song, and then there are those of you that believe that this is a Journey song, in which case... Shame on you. Shame be upon you. Oh, goodness. Forever. You're the worst kind of... We should probably move on. Butterdish is starting to get a lot. Come on, Butterdish. That's not her name. I'm saying it is not.
Her name. It won't stick. It is her nickname. And I'm going to work my darndest to make that stick for you. You can thank me later. And I'm sure that at future events, no one will come dressed as a homemade, badly constructed butter dish. I love it. BD. But it's got to have a handle. Remember that, folks. Remember that. Don't anger the dragon. Or don't remember it. Either way. Either way. You know what I mean? That's great. That has the words goodwill painted on the side of it. No one knows. Yeah, because goodwill does that to the things they sell. They get everything they get in. They stamp it. They stamp it. Goodwill, they stamp it. Yeah. They stamp it. Lame. We should probably move on. Sky, when does Obama say we will have troops out of Iraq? I don't need you to yell when we discuss this. I don't need screaming and accusations. He plans to remove all U.S. combat.
troops from Iraq in 18 months. 18 months? Which will be August of next year. Are you kidding me? That's two months slower than he had promised during his presidential campaign. So it's only two months off, so it's not bad. Well, no. I remember the presidential campaign that he was saying 90 days. Well, that was before. That was in the very beginning. That was just not smart of him. So that doesn't count. Do over. Hold on. How many? 90 days, that's only two or three months off of 17, 18 months. Three months. How many days are in a month? Two? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some months have more days than others. Wait a minute. He was counting in 100-day months. Oh, okay. Well, then he's right on. So what happens when we go out to a party with some sisters, huh? What happens? So after all the combat troops leave, there'll be about between 30,000 and 50,000 troops still there to train Iraqi security forces and to protect our U.S. interests in Iraq. That's right, because nobody messes with Joe. Then the withdrawal of all the forces is hopefully going to be complete by December of 2011. Oh, he's something else. He's awesome. How does he do it? I know. How does he do it? I mean, it's so beautiful. Yes. It's gorgeous.
What if we do this? Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Right on, Tiger Woods makes his return to the Lynx today in the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. He's going to be taking on Australian Brendan Jones. Never heard of him. Never heard of him. Will this event be televised? Yes. On what? I have to double check. Yes, on television. Oh, on television. Okay, okay. Because I had the ham all ready to go and the ham radio. That's weird. Hey, Tiger, how's your shooting? As far as, you know, my golf swing, I'm doing the same thing as I've been trying to do. No, we meant your left hook. Yeah, yeah. I'm trying to do, but now I have a leg I can do it on. All right. Good. All right. Tiger, you're the best. I like it. I like it. Well, Colts owner Jim Ursay had a press conference yesterday talking about the release. of Marvin Harrison. We are here to announce the departure of Marvin Harrison from the Indianapolis Colts. Oh my gosh. It's a day as an owner that you know eventually will come. But it's not a day that you look forward to. He wishes to go forward and pursue opportunities in the National Football League still. Something that we honor and are granting his release.
He came in right around the same time, I assume, full ownership. And as an owner, these are rare events when you have a chance to really talk about an individual who literally changed the face of a franchise. Where is Marvin Harrison going to end up? Oh, my goodness. I have a prediction. What? Philadelphia. Really? You know, Donovan McNabb needs weapons. Yeah. And Philly's on that verge, on that cusp of becoming a really good team. Yeah, because their number one guy is that Brown kid. What is it, Brown? That is racist. No, I meant what I was trying to say. His name. It's 2009. No, no, no. His name is, his last name is Brown. No, Deshaun Jackson is their number one receiver. He is? And Kevin Curtis is the other starter. And Reggie Brown. Reggie Brown. It was their number one guy a couple years ago. Reggie is not anymore. So, anyway. Well, that clears it up. Glad we got that out of the way. Nothing to see here. Anyhoot. Move along. Bad loss for the Aztecs last night. They lost to BYU 69-59. The New York Knicks and Stephon Marbury have reached a buyout agreement. And now it looks like Stephon likely will sign with.
Boston. Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor had a visit in Buffalo and now is going to New England. Boston, where all the former good players go to die, apparently. And you guys will enjoy this. Golfer Greg Norman. Everybody know who Greg Norman is? Nope. He's a famous golfer. He thinks the PGA Tour should take pay cuts to be sensitive to the economic crisis. What an odd thing to say. Stupid. I mean, it's just there's no reason to say it. No one's wanting it. You're great, Greg. And then where would that money go? Exactly. Like you're going to sprinkle it around on the road? Into it. What are you going to do with that money? That's so stupid. Not to mention, now you've instantly made all the other golfers feel like jerks. Now they're like, okay, well. I guess I shouldn't accept this money. Thank you. I donated to the deficit.
Who do I make that out to? Deficit. It's D-E-F. You are listening to The Mikey Show. How dare you all attack him like this? Mikey. Michael is your superior. You should be bowing down in front of him. Well, most of our freeways are looking pretty good right now as this commute winds down, but still tough out of Escondido. That's still crawling here on the South 15th and the 78th down to Via Rancho Parkway. Coaster-wise looking pretty good, just a minor delay through Solana Beach and that southbound 5. No worries at all out of the east county. Westbound traffic all looking fine here into the city. The 805 northbound, though, still quite tough out of Kearney Mesa heading up over the 52. Northbound 15 is also seeing some brake lights around Claremont Mesa Boulevard out of Tierra Santa, and that extends up to the 163 merge.
And South 163 also seeing some brake lights for the park in the downtown. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. You guys rock on you, Turkey. Turkey. San Diego's Rock. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. And, you know, we have to screen them just like everything else. And so if you have an exceptional text or an exceptional point, we certainly get it on. And if your point is sort of, oh, the technical term is lame. Oh! Oh, no, you didn't. That's scientific. We can't make it on the air. Jeez, Mike. Well, her text was pretty sassy. That's why it made it on the air. Sassy? But you don't always have to be sexy. Listen, you could be funny. Clever. Mikey just wanted to let you know that at Ross right now they have butter dishes for sale for $3.99. Does it have a handle? I started busting out laughing in the middle of the aisle yesterday when I saw it. And it's a glass. I turned to my loved one and said, and I quote, Oh, butter dish. That is awesome. That is great. Then as I turned to leave, an old woman was standing there looking at me like I was crazy. Thanks for another great Mikey Show moment. Love you guys. P1 Sam, I am. Let's see. Mikey, this question is for Fat Tuesday. Who is that? I don't know who that is. Does she know what yesterday was and did she do anything fun? That's P1 Knuckles.
Well, Fat Tuesday is the nickname that Boston Rob gave to Ashley a couple of years ago. Oh, it is. I forgot about that. I did too. A couple of things. One, let's go through the yesterday meal. Okay, what do we got in there, Mike? Well, I'm having surgery. I'll tell you that. I'm having surgery. Oh, you had the sinus appointment yesterday. Went to the sinus appointment yesterday, and I'm going to have surgery. Are you doubling up? Do they pull your face all the way back? They do not. They don't? No, they do not. Oh, really? Nope, they go through your nostrils. Oh, that's weird. She sprayed this stuff in my nostrils to numb it. And then she stuck this gigantic wand with a light on it inside my nose. Sounds like fun. To take a look around. Weird. I know it. Could you feel it? You could feel it, but it was sort of like a nuisance. It wasn't like it would be if it wasn't... So they're going to do surgery sometime in March. Do you have a deviated septum? Yes, I do. I think I got the same thing. Now... Based on what? Because I went to... Remember, I think it was last year, September. I had to go get my nose. Oh, you got sucked in the nose? Yeah.
And I have four fractures, and they showed them to me on the x-rays. And you think you might have? The x-ray machine was crazy. Like, all around your head. That's what I had it going. I forget what it's called. It's weird. Yeah, it's like a big, you go in this big tube. Yeah. Scoops and tubes? Yeah, you go in a scoop and tube. You go in a scoop and tube. Skeeter was the manager. Yes, that's correct. That one got me. That was kind of funny. Yeah, so anyway, I'm going to do that. Well, that's cool. Hopefully it'll fix you all up. That's right. Let's see. Sky and Ashley went on a walk and talk yesterday. A walk and talk? A walk and talk. It had been a while. It had been like at least a month. So long. You guys had not done that for a while, right? Can you guys give us a little nugget of what you guys discussed yesterday on the walk and talk? Probably me. Well, it's a lot of girly stuff. There's a lot of guy talk. There's guy talk? There's guy talk. There is a lot of pet talk. A lot of updates about Sammy and the Dito. Ash, what are we missing? She's filling you in. Yesterday we had so much to catch up on it wasn't even funny. I was asking her about things back even Christmas. Do you guys walk a long way? It's been so long.
Do they realize they see each other every day? But we don't get to talk girl stuff in private. Talk about our girl parts and stuff. Is that what you do? Sometimes it's necessary. Do you have nipples? Yeah, me too. Oh my goodness. This is awesome. Amazing. I can't believe it. Let's see. Rob watched The Real Housewives of Orange County. Oh, me too. The reunion show? Yeah, dude. Oh, not the reunion show. I was watching it all day yesterday, though. No, they had the new reunion show last night. They were probably building up to it. Do you watch it normally? No, but Sarissa would not change the channel. Good stuff, huh? They're crazy. They're great. That stuff should be banned from TV. Oh, come on. It's fun. It's fun. To me, it just is, man. Like, dude, they're nasty, nasty people. We got stuck on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians over the weekend. Oh, my God. I saw that show, too. And it was the one where Kim Kardashian is getting her Bentley. And everybody's upset. And she says, you guys are just jealous. And I've wanted a Bentley since I was 12. Oh, wow. Who wants a Bentley since they were 12? I don't know, but I couldn't have it. I couldn't relate.
Yeah. I can't watch the MTV style or, you know, I can't do them. But you know how, you know how yesterday you were asking, you know, Mary Poppins, is that cool for your little kid to watch? Well, is it cool for your little boy to watch? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. No matter what I have for kids and how many, they will not, I'm going to try to ban stuff like that. Like the real housewives. But your gal loves that stuff. I don't care. You're going to tell her the kids aren't going to watch that, right? You're going to tell her the kids aren't going to watch that. I'll figure out a way. Yeah, yeah. I'll figure something out. But just me being exposed to that, I felt dirty. Yeah, you should be on the same page with that stuff. Take a shower. I did. It didn't work. Couldn't get that stuff up. Couldn't get those houses up. I did. I went to the sink and splash, splash, splash. That's not a shower, bro. What have I been doing? Yesterday, Mike, I caught the Real Housewives of Orange County episode with Brian Malarkey from Ocean Air. Oh, really? The one that he was in, yeah. How was it? It was good. It was in the background, and so once I saw his face, I was like, oh my gosh, and I sat down and watched the rest of the episode, and he was barely in it, but he was awesome and had great personality. It was great, and he looked good.
And yeah, he set up like a nine course meal for these ladies at a private little house party that one of them had. I saw him not too long ago and he was talking about it was fun. It's fun filming it and all that stuff. Man, he's a courageous man to go in that mix of women. That cougar den. Yeah. I just couldn't believe how wild. My wife loves that. To each other. Oh, she watches that too? Oh, man. Like, what is the fascination? Well, then there's the ones of New York and then there's the ones of Atlanta too. They're all good. They're all different. I started to watch that New York one and there's a broad on that show that has to be called The Countess. Oh, good. I don't know what this is, but I need to look it up. I made a mental note, which I'm going to. And if you call her by her real name, like Luann, she gets... furiously upset. Well, obviously. And I don't know how you get a Countess title. I need to figure this out. It's very important. It's really important. No, it's not. There's a Muppet called the Countess, right? So it's not that important. There is.
Never heard of it. Ah, that's it. That's his wife. That's his wife. The Countess. This is how Rob's brain works while watching these shows. I'm going to find out the definition here. Okay, well you work on that and get back to us. Hey, did you guys hear that Metallica is going to be launching a new brand of sneaker? What? Yeah, they're working with... What, a kiss? No, well, they're working with Converse. I guess Converse is putting out these rock and roll sneakers and they said in the fall they'll have a Metallica and an ACDC line of shoes. Who's going to buy that? You are. I bet you'll buy it, man. I'm not going to buy that. Dude, I think the shoe is dope. You don't know. It's not dope. Except for the Jason Newstead version. I don't like that version. It's more for quitters and guys that cry like at chick flicks. Stop it. He's not even in the band anymore. Hey, by the way, man. Speaking of these shoes.
Don't even think about trying to download a free pair. Well, that's impossible, first of all. It doesn't work that way. I have lawyers in suits, man. Okay. We know. B-Rob. Yo. Don't think I forgot about the time you stole the live version of King Nothing, man. Oh. Yeah, but I stole it so I could light it on fire. Whoa. Why would you say that? This is right here. You're sued. I've been working closely with the people at Converse, you guys, to get the Tallica shoe just right. Oh, is that right? Yeah. It's a lot of trial and error. Yeah, I'm sure. And the first pair we tried were completely made of wood. Oh, I figured you would. Here it is. You figured you would say that. I was waiting for it. Yeah, we tested them on runners and stuff. Uh-huh. And we had some burn issues. Yeah. Burn? Yeah, so for legal reasons, I can't really get into it. But needless to say, man, back to the drawing board. Hey, I suggested this idea where the sole of each shoe had like a secret compartment for hiding wood and wood whittling tools. That's so stupid. You're the only one that would use it. Dude, how awesome would that be? Not really. Not awesome. I'm desperate for wood. Save that clip. No, seriously, man.
Dude, this is Lars from Talica. Yeah, Lars. Listen, I want to get our name on all kinds of footwear, dude. Why? Because I think it'd be a great marketing tool because everybody wears shoes. And I've been talking to Dr. Scholz to try to make like a Talica gel insert called Taligels. That's not a good idea. Oh, and then I'm working on this new style of Crocs called Taligators. I like that. I really like that. You should definitely keep going with that one. Yeah, that was a great one. Taligators. Yeah, it's catchy. It's catchy, bro. Yeah, and then, like, the commercial will be like, Taligators. Right, right, right. I love it. Genius. We'll brand anything, man. I'm not kidding. I asked the Octomom if we could put Robert Trujillo's face on baby number seven. What the heck? That is scary. And she started yelling at me and she didn't like it. I was like, hey, if it's a Mexican thing, man, we could put a hat on there, man. Yeah, we'll get James' face. He's a white guy. So weird. And then she hung up on me, man.
That's odd. Hey, this is Lars from Talica, dude. Did you know Mikey's getting the sinus surgery? Maybe you should look into it. Yeah, man, I'm going to get some sinus surgery. You always have the sniffles. Hey, check it out, man. Talica's actually releasing a whole line of wooden products, man. How many times with the wooden? We're not limiting ourselves to just shoes. What else? We have wooden belts. With ties, with underoos. I'm wearing Wonder Woman right now. That is not so comfortable. Speaking of Oasis. We weren't speaking of Oasis. What do you guys think of the Morning Glory demos, man? Those are good. I don't know what you're talking about. What are you saying? Oasis is good, man. No, I don't care for them. Yeah, Eddie, I like them too, dude. Wait, are you listening to what I'm saying? I don't think he is. Any of you guys up for a game of Dutch water polo? What is that? It's the same as regular kind, but instead of water, use Belvedere vodka. Okay. It's awesome, man. It's awesome. We're listening to Mikey.
What he said. Hey, it's Mikey for Amco. When your car has an issue with the brakes or the transmission or the tune-ups or maybe you just need a simple oil change, take it to the place that I personally went into and talk to people that said that they've been going to Amco for years and years and years. One guy I talked to had been going in there for 15 years. And the reason is because they trust AMCO and they know AMCO is always going to do a good job for them. It's easy to remember. It's AMCO. They're double A. Beep, beep. MCO. My parents sacrificed quite a bit to provide me with an education. My mother raised four of us by herself and she wanted us to go to college. My mom got to ninth grade. I think my dad just finished high school. My father always wanted to have his degree but never got to that point. I was the first in my family to graduate from college. But I won't be the last.

Nothing says, hey, look over here at this tire store, like a giant inflatable dinosaur on top of a tire store. But its power isn't limited to tires, carpeting, car dealerships. You name the business, and a giant inflatable dinosaur on top will command attention.
Much respect, giant inflatable dinosaur. Of course, whether or not the people looking are actually in need of tires or carpet or a new car is another question. Now, with what's up in your world, this is the Mikey Show 360. Mikey Show 360. What are people talking about? Hey, yeah, yeah. What do you got on your mind? And you can text her. Text Mikey at gmail.com.
My legs are sore because I worked on legs yesterday. I mean, I'm just doing a lot of legs. Yeah, I'm tough. He's so strong. Where is that guy? Let's see. Okay. A couple of texts that we're getting. Let's see. I keep hearing how Mikey and Eddie are such foodies. And I have to admit, some of the food sounds really good. Have you ever thought of putting a cookbook... of your recipes together, either offering it online or selling it. You could donate the profits to a charity. I just want to get my hand on some of the recipes that I hear about P1 Northern Nevada. Well, we've thought about it. We've thought about it. We've kicked the idea around. Here's the thing. When I do something and we put the name Mikey Show on it, I want it to be really good.
The right opportunity has to be there because I just don't like doing it half butt. I want it to be full butt. And so, you know, it's just got to be it's got to be done really, really well. And I want to make sure also that it sort of makes sense. There are a lot of different things that we could do. But it has to make sense. It has to be something that is going to make sense for the listener and make sense for for us, too. I'll give you, for instance, we get I actually get sponsors that have come to the Mikey show that I say, it just doesn't make sense for us to do that. It doesn't make sense for them to be a sponsor. And I can tell you.
with honesty, that in 20 years of doing radio, I cannot give you one example, not one example of any radio show that I've ever heard of that has done that. Right. That has ever, that I've ever one time heard of say, no, you know what? That's not right for us. Yeah. I remember when you like first kind of told the sales department, that's like your philosophy. And they kind of like gave you like the, huh? Yeah. Like, what do you mean? I don't understand what you're saying. We must be missing something. But it has to make sense. And so, you know, when you hear us talking about AIS and you hear us talking about ProFlowers and you hear us talking about any of the Pajamagram, they make sense. They're products that we genuinely use. I had Pajamagram sent to my wife for Valentine's Day. Nice. She was wearing those suckers yesterday and loving them. Which one do you order for? They were maternity ones. And if you give me a second, I'll remember the name because it was goofy. Sunset Eclipse. It was not that. It had such a girly name. Now, it wasn't like Skies, the Midnight Come Get Me. Melon Ball. Everlasting Thunder. The Everlasting Thunder. Was it that? I don't remember. Sweet surprise. But that's a long way to get to. We would love to do a cookbook, but it has to be right. It's got to be the right thing. We'd love to.
Let's see. San Diego. There is a youth music teacher that's going to be arraigned today for failing to register as a sex offender. Oh, my. Can't do that. Yeah, this 63-year-old guy was arrested Sunday right before he was supposed to start rehearsal of his jazz ensemble, which has kids in it from 13 to 19 years old. I guess the band uses a room at Mesa Kala in Linda Vista, but is not affiliated with the school. So the way this went down is last week investigators got a tip about possible inappropriate conduct between this teacher and a student at the San Diego School of Creative Performing Arts. where he volunteers at. And so then they looked into it and they determined this guy is actually a registered sex offender and had failed to notify the school about the fact that he was a registered sex offender and also failed to notify police that he was currently in contact with minors and did not disclose his current home address.
All of which violate his agreement with them. So this goes back to June of 99 when he pled guilty to molesting two teenage boys. So he will be arraigned today. Adam Sandler is being accused of ripping off the idea for the Zohan movie. Oh my. Yeah. Really? I was going to admit to that, right? Yeah, why would you want to rip that off? Yeah, a guy who is the creator of a gay comic book hero, which is just like Zohan, the hairstylist with the, you know, skills or whatever, has filed a lawsuit against Adam Sandler, his production company, Sony, and Columbia Pictures for copyright infringement. He claims he pitched the idea of turning his character into a movie. He pitched it to Columbia and then... Next thing you know, Zohan's out and he's no part of it. Really? We'll see. That's bizarre. Yeah. Let's see. Seven people got shot on the Mardi Gras parade route. Holy cow. Yeah, including a toddler. No. First of all, why is a toddler out at Mardi Gras? Why? That's disgusting. Why?
I don't know. They say the gunfire broke out near the Garden District at the end of the parade, and they took two suspects into custody, a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old guy. They say a motive hasn't yet been determined, but the police say the way it looks is that everybody was just innocent bystanders, and these guys just started opening fire randomly. Yeah, but luckily it looks like everyone will survive their injuries. The House is voting on a bill that will ban people from owning primates as pets. What? That sucks. Yeah. Someone got to say it. Eddie, isn't this kind of punishing all primate owners? Us primate owners. We're responsible people and the people that are irresponsible, they're ruining it for us. Have you ever heard of my primate hurting anyone? What is your primate's name? Biscuit. Primate Biscuit. You guys just haven't seen him. I put him away when you come over because I'm a responsible primate owner.
You're saying that a responsible primate owner, what do they do with their primate when people come over? Where do they put it? Well, you put him in, you know, hopefully he has his own room because if you're a responsible primate owner, he should feel like he's part of the family. That way he won't rip your face off. That's how it works. I tell Biscuit, I say, all right, Biscuit, sky's coming over. So I don't want you to rip her face off. So can you go to your room and just chill out with your Nintendo DS or whatever? Oh, so you don't even have to put him in there. You just ask him, hey, will you go to your room? I don't want him ripping my face off, Mike, so I'm not going to challenge him. So you tell him, will you go in your room? Please go play Nintendo DS. Is he cool usually? Always, always about it? Will he be cool? Well, there was a couple of incidences. But, I mean, other than that, other than that, like you haven't had a problem with Sammy ever? Come on. I haven't. Yeah. She hasn't ripped anyone's face off. Well, neither has Biscuit. What did Biscuit do? It's a slightly tore face. A face off. But that doesn't mean it came off. So it's fine. It's fine. They're all fine. It didn't come off. No, the face was still attached. That doesn't sound good. Everybody relax. That does not sound good. You don't know. You're judging me. I'm judging you because you said that part of the... It tore. It didn't come off. Well, it still... See?
There it is. There's biscuits. I know it sounds like an Armenian boy, but... Okay, let's see. What else can we talk about? Bailed Out Bank is under fire for wanting to do these big... Well, actually doing big lavish concerts and dinner parties. Oh, come on. I'm furious. Yeah. So this bank, Northern Trust Bank, received $1.6 billion from the U.S. government. And I guess had this big lavish event in L.A. last weekend. I guess they are a sponsor of a PGA tournament there called the Northern Trust Open. And they had a bunch of employees and clients and everybody flown out there. And they all stayed in the nicest hotels there in Los Angeles. And they had different events every night. One event was a fancy dinner at the Ritz followed by a performance by the group Chicago. Then another night they rented out a private hangar and had dinner and then a performance by Earth, Wind & Fire. Another night they had a private party at the House of Blues and then Sheryl Crow performed for all of them. They had these great cocktail parties, all the female guests. They had the Beatles reunite.
All the female guests got little trinkets from Tiffany's. Get out of here. That's disgusting. That's what the bailout money's going to. Here's my question. Is there any banks left that sort of haven't seen other banks get in trouble for doing things like this? How have you not learned? Barney Frank, who is a Democrat from Massachusetts. He was the most worthless deputy ever. From the House Financial Services Committee. He's the chairman. That's right, I'm the chairman. He wrote a letter to Northern Trust asking them to pay the government back for the money they spent. What did Floyd the Barber have to say? What does Andy think of all this? Northern Trust is saying that they are a healthy bank and they actually didn't seek the $1.6 billion it received from the government. They give it back. So that's really weird. Whatever. I want to talk to that CEO. I knew a lot of things that I couldn't say on the air. I would pull him right aside because it's jacked up, man. It's jacked up.
They're getting this money, whether they seeked it or not, which I think it's BS that they didn't seek it. I don't even know, though, Rob, that they were using the bailout money to do this stuff. What if they had money set aside? To me, it does not matter. If you're receiving bailout money, you're not doing stuff like that. You're not having private concerts with Sheryl Crow. Yeah, do Natalie Imbruglia. You know what I mean? But that's at best. Maybe Kylie Minogue. Maybe. Eddie, what do we have as a prize to give away today? We got those taste of happy hour and the gas lamp. Then let's do this. The search for the truth behind the words. The logic behind the lyrics. It's time to play. I'm the lyrical gangster. Word up, homie. I'll say yes. Yeah, dog. Yes, dog. All right. It's time to play Lyrical Gangsta. What you do is you call us and we're going to give you categories. From those categories, you will pick one. We'll give you a trivia question based on the lyrics of songs. Eddie, chances I get this right. A thousand percent, man. I have such faith in you. Let's see. Let me test my stuff. Let's see if they get it wrong. Let's see if they get it right.
And then I've got the songs. I think I'm ready to do this. Oh, yeah, I got it. I don't know. I don't know. I did it one other time, but I think it was luck. Let's try this. Let's try this. That's right. See, he says that about them. P1 Kim. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm good. What are you doing today? I'm at work. What do you do for a living? I'm a customer service representative. Oh, is that tough? Because you always have to be nice. Yes. Yeah. I bet it is. I bet it is. Well, let's do some lyrical gangsta. Maybe we'll send you on this Taste of the Tasters is what it's called here. It is. Taste the Tasties. And it's going on this weekend. It's about a $40 ticket you'll be winning if you get it. And I got three categories for you. 90s rock, billboard, number one hits, and one hit wonders. One hit wonders. You got it.
Your one hit wonders question is in the song Torn by Natalie Imbruglia. She says, I'm cold and I am shamed lying naked on the what? You are correct. You are so good. So that's it, huh? That's the only hit she had, huh? That's it. Nothing else from her. It's a good one. It's a good one, though. Played that song one million times at Star 100. Did you really? One million times. A million. Yep. That's right. Which, ironically, is how many times those people went on that roller coaster. That's true. And, ironically, how much they sued for later. That's it. Both facts are true. Hang on the line, P1 Kim. Okay, thank you. All right. I don't know if we've ever had P1 Sanjaya.
play Lyrical Gangsta before. Oh, really? Well, he's a Hall of Famer. He plays all the games. Come on now, I participate. All right, let's do this. We can do this. Let's go give you a category here. Your categories are One Hit Wonders, Billboard No. 1 Hits, and 90s Rock. Rock. You got it. Your 90s Rock question is in the song High Enough by the Damn Yankees. Yes. Oh, yeah. Love it. He says, we don't need to talk about it anymore. Yesterday's just a memory. Can we close the what? That is correct, ladies and gentlemen. Yes. Eddie, do you remember the song from Damn Yankees? Sorry about this, Sanjay. I know this is your time. But do you guys remember the song by the Damn Yankees called Where You Going Now?
Yes. Oh, dude. Good song. That Nugent in the video. What's up, Sky? Chewing gum with sunglasses on. Giant cowboy hat. Giant cowboy hat. That just speaks the truth. Oh, there's Ted. Nugent. Nugent. He murders animals. Then he eats them up. He only murders delicious animals. Yes, that is true. He has a rule. That is true. Hang on the line, Sanjaya. You're a winner. All right, dude. P1 Little Tuna is on the line. Hey, Little Tuna. Hey, Little Tuna. How you doing, little tuna? Good, good. What do you do, little tuna? What do you do for a living? I'm a tutor for autistic children. That's cool, man. Awesome. Right on, dude. All right, I'm going to give you three categories. You ready? Got it. 90s rock, billboard number one hits, and one hit wonders. Bring on the billboard number one. Oh, I love it. Your billboard number one hit question is, in the song, You're Beautiful by James Blunt. I auditioned American Idol to that song.
You did. That's right. He says, my life is brilliant. My love is pure. I saw an angel. Of that I'm what? Of that I'm sure. Of that I'm sure. Forgot the words. They still put me through. Well, yeah, because you were brilliant. Because you were brilliant. Got the golden ticket. That's right, dude. Everyone cheered for me when I ran into the golden ticket. I did. They gave you a yellow piece of paper. And then as you walk out of the stadium, everyone else waited.
That's right. That's not even the real thing. You weren't even in front of the judges. You weren't even in front of the judges. Oh, that was terrible. That was great. I thought that was pretty good. No offense. No, it was pretty good. P1 Little Tuna? Yeah. You are a winner. Nice. Hang on a line. Somebody else is getting to go to the Taste of the Tasters. Yeah, I love it. Taste of happy hour. That's right. That's what I said, right? Tasty cake. Tasty cakes. Hey, dude, you're going to the Tasty Cakers. Painted syringes. And the CEO of the... I'll have two. Yeah, no, no. The CEO of this... tainted syringe company they can't find him i got details next i three uh the knee jerk reaction where you make a short-term decision that a short time later has you wondering why did i do that in these times knee jerks are common especially when deciding on your next vehicle you think you're doing the right thing by choosing the lesser vehicle and then that lesser vehicle ends up costing you more avoid the knee jerk and consider a new bmw
