A new study shows that for the first time in U.S. history, more than one in every hundred Americans is behind bars. The Chargers cut three big-name veterans yesterday, Lorenzo Neal, Marlon McCree, and Shane Olivier gone. Whoa. Lorenzo Neal got cut? Oh, yeah. Oh, my. Do they have a plan with that? Well, first of all, Lorenzo Neal wasn't really utilized in North Turner's offense, so I completely understand him getting released. He's getting up there in age, and Andrew Pinnock actually did a really good job when Neal went down with his broken leg. So what's the deal? In Norv's offense, he's not the blocking guy for LTE? They just don't utilize fullbacks the way they used to. Because I know that was his thing, right? His big thing was blocking for LTE and whatever, so they don't really do that with Norv? They don't really utilize a fullback, so he'd be kind of a waste.
of salary caps. So what does Pinnock do that Lorenzo doesn't do that much? Doesn't cost as much. But he's just as good. And he's a lot younger. I wouldn't say he's just as good. Lorenzo Neal's a great player. He'll probably be a Hall of Fame fullback. But if you could save some money and go a little bit younger, I understand. That's what happens sometimes. It's better to release guys before they get old than when they're old and it's too late and you're kind of wasting money. That just tripped me out hearing you say that Lorenzo Neal got cut. The bigger news to me is Shane Olivier. Because Shane Olivier just last year signed a huge extension. So what's up with that? Well, he got benched in the middle of the season. AJ Smith yesterday basically came out and said, I made a mistake. We're signing this guy. He's lost his fire. I don't think he's playing any good. He's out of here. Whoa. AJ Smith doesn't mess around, man. What a trip. Welcome to the show. We're back in the studio, which is good. Yeah, it feels good. Yeah, it feels good to be back in the studio. Fun Day Friday. It's what? It's Fun Day Friday. Fun Day Friday. There you go. That's what my friends call it. All right.
Well, welcome everybody to Fun Day Friday. Nice. There's seven people on the show. Myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, Boston, Rob, and Zeth. And we have a guest in the studio that won P1 Trivia and her name is Gabby. Good morning. Good morning, Gabby. Short for Abigail. Is it short for Abigail? No, it's short for Gabriella. Oh, it is. There you go. You're an executive secretary? Yes, I am. Now, what is that? Usually, let me tell you what I think it means and you tell me if that's right. Like CEOs, big guys in companies, that kind of thing? Yes, I'm actually the assistant for the chief financial officer. Oh. Wow, look at you. It's not easy. It's not easy. The CFO. The CFO. Wow. So what do you do for her or him? I actually support the controller as well. So I basically just make sure that they're running on schedule and nothing is, there's no surprises. Yeah. Sky, did you appreciate that I even put the her... I did. I noticed it and appreciated it. Before the him, you know. Well, yeah. Hey, listen, I'm not going to... Just that I got to mention it all, it's just great. I noticed how awkward it was. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, sure. Well, it sounds terrible. Oh, my God. You sound terrible. I want to make sure, you know, that I did not assume that it was a guy in there. Thank you. Thank you, Mike. It could be... 2008. But it is, right? Very accurate.
It is a guy. No, it's a girl. It's a girl. Face on your faces. Wow. Do you work for Epilady? Which is a trip. Shut up. I don't even think that product exists anymore. Tampex. Figures, yeah. Right? Kotex. Midol. Whatever. Tamperin. Same. Let's see. You got a four-year-old kid named Selena. Yes, I do. Very nice. Very nice. My hubby's a diehard P1. Very good. Oh, is he jealous? Oh, my gosh. He was dying. I'm sure he's awake right now going, oh, I wish it was me. Oh, no. What's his name? Enrique. P1 Enrique. Enrique. Shout out. Absolutely. One up. There you go. So let's go through and introduce everybody. I blogged about this. I'm out on dental floss. I don't like dental floss. I think it's a strange way to go about doing that job. I think to myself in 08, gosh darn, we haven't come up with a better way to do that yet. Like a laser beam. Yeah, something. I thought, can't they invent some sort of a liquid that you put in your mouth that you swish around that gets in there and does the same thing without actually dissolving your mouth? It dissolves all the stuff it's supposed to.
Uh, but doesn't like, uh, you know, some sort of acid, but doesn't ruin your mouth. Well, but have you ever been in on dental floss? Well, I like to, you know, clean in between my teeth. So in that regard, sure. I just don't like the process. It's kind of like saying, I like to go to Florida. I just don't like getting on the plane. That's the deal with me. I don't like the flossing. I think it's, well, first of all, it's disgusting. Oh yeah, totally. You know, and it doesn't matter what kind you get. If you get the kind that you wrap around your index fingers, it turns the tips of your fingers purple. And it's gross because you have to keep moving the floss. And you see all the junk on it. Yeah. And if you get those ones that they sell now that are like the disposable, like use one time. That's what we use. Same concept. You still see stuff on it. It's gross. They don't work, dude. You don't like those, Sean? Dude, you can't get in there, man. You've got to get in there. What's up, Sean? What's up? Yeah, what is the deal? You've got to wrap it around your fingers, man. You've got to get in there and you've got to go to town. Because he flossed three times a day. You've got to do work. He flossed three times a day? Usually not three, but definitely two. Okay.
It doesn't gross you out that as you move along with the floss, you're in essence wrapping disgusting things around your fingers. Yeah, well, I mean, it's all me, so I'm not too worried about it. But the thing is, it's getting clean, so I can overlook a lot because there is a goal in sight. And I love seeing that progress. There you go. Progress is what matters. Eddie. is our producer and our sports guy. How are you feeling? Still not great. We've got business to take care of today. That's right, ninth wonder of the world. That's right. How's that working for you, Eddie? You're the best. That sort of sycophantic behavior that Ashley engages in. How does that... I'm the one that's sick, but... I don't. Her behavior is very odd. Anything new going on? Are you doing anything new? All I've been doing the last couple days, I've gotten home and just slept. I've just been sleeping like crazy. I don't know. I haven't eaten anything in like three days. For me, it's really weird. It's a great diet. Is it a comfortable sleep or are you tossing and turning? I go from being really hot and sweaty to being like
chills right yeah so it's like it's non-stop today i don't really have any chills which is great okay so that's a good that's a good thing hopefully it'll continue sky is our news girl and uh her natural hair color is brown right sky yep and uh she's an irish gal lass that's true i was drunk that's right propensity to alcoholism yeah That's true. And violent rages, so it's really fun. Sky, anything new going on? No, I just, you know, I've been trying to fight this thing off that, like, everyone has. So yesterday I enjoyed myself a nice lengthy nap while watching B-Rob dig holes in my backyard. Is that right? Yes. Wow. Looking for gold? Yes. Does he know you don't bury it there? And I know that. It's coal mining. I keep it in the safe. Let's see. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's wearing a button up today. Oh, snazzy. I usually do. That is not true. Not at this hour. He may have shirts like that and wear them the rest of the day. But during the Mikey show,
It's an undershirt. Occasionally. Occasionally. So right now, he's sitting backwards on his chair. Like I always do. His new thing. His new thing. That he claims he's done forever. Johnny come coolly. That's right. Arthur Fonzarelli. Sean, anything new going on? I gotta go to the bathroom. Real bad. Alright. Besides that, is there anything new in life at home or any of that stuff? My wife's got to go, too. Okay, thank you very much. How do you know that? Oh, shoot. That's not true. A, by the way, I was supposed to do something regarding Shauna. I was supposed to give you guys or give Shauna your number because she left me a message. I just am remembering that right now. Oh, no, it was the opposite. Trouble. It was the opposite of trouble. Big time trouble. That's right. That makes me really nervous. The opposite of trouble makes you nervous? Just, I don't believe you. All right. I think you're saying that for the year. Continue. I am saying it for the year. No, Shauna doesn't need to talk to Shauna. I thought that might sound funny. Just kidding. No, she does. Ashley. I'm so confused. Ashley.
She does not. She does not. She does, actually. Wait. Ashley is our assistant producer. She has blonde hair. And it has this sort of look to it right now. It gives it the overall, like, she's got bangs. Yeah, I like her bangs. It's kind of what it looks like. It's like, I like her bangs. I like her bangs. Thank you for that. And Ashley is 24. And what's on your t-shirt there, kid? Oh, it's that bunny that like is, I don't know, Eddie calls it the angry bunny. And then it says, I'm so lucky I'm not you. But the bunny is smiling. Yeah. Well, it's a happy bunny, but it's mean. There you go. Kind of like me. It's a mean message, but it's a cute image. Yeah. Kind of like Ashley. Right. Exactly. Thank you, Mike. I think that is a compliment. Looks really sweet. It's actually a mean message being delivered. My pleasure. A heart of blackness. Heart of thorns, as they say. Love Like Acid, I think, is the song that Joan Baez used to sing acoustically. Boston Rob is our Boston Celtics jersey-wearing young man. He's 25 years old, engaged to be married, quite a handsome kid, and 2'4".
But he is good around that little racetrack, isn't he? Well, he fits so well. Mini-mini. That's right. I killed it yesterday. I know. Well, I mean, it's like putting a bologna sandwich in there as far as weight. I mean, it's just not. Of course it's going to sail through those corners. Hold the bologna. Where are my missions? Rob, anything new going on in your life? Nope. Just a lot of planting yesterday. A lot of planting. Yeah. Digging and planting. Oh, yeah. That's right. Nine trees. Yeah. Is it a lump sum or do you get paid by the hour? Does she give you lunch? Are there any benefits involved? Oh, yeah. It's great working at her house. Yeah. I get sodas and water. She got pizza yesterday, but I had already eaten. That's actually all he gets, Mike. No, I buy food that he never eats. Really? That's not true. I go out and get lunch. That's not true. The first time. Like what? Give me an example of what he gets that he's all happy. Yesterday, he was digging holes from... Bread and water, Mike. Graham crackers.
I crushed them up and threw them. He pecks at them like a bird. Yesterday from noon to five out, it was probably, you know, the mid-70s, high-70s in Escondido, digging, like, massive holes that whole time, did not have a bite to eat. I bought a big old pizza for him and the boo. Wow, rude. Not a bite. I was worried he was going to, like, pass out. What do you mean rude, Ash? I just think that that's ungrateful. I mean, for him to not eat. Just because he would have ate, like, the whole pizza doesn't mean that. The food prepared with love for you. Prepared? Prepared with love? Well, I mean, she dialed. Roundtable, roundtable. Oh, she didn't eat a roundtable pizza? How do you not eat roundtable pizza? Roundtable, the bad. That's how I'm grateful. I don't know what that is. What, what, what? He's never had round table. You've never had round table? Slap your own face. No way. For goodness sake, bro. You are a bad person. Oh, dude, as far as like chains go, that's the best one. The best. I don't know. It's the best tasting one. Except for Pizza Hut. Oh, fuck. What? You're a sinner. What, Sean? Salt your milk. You salt that milk, buddy. Gladly. That is sick.
Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut is awesome. It's not even in the conversation, dude. Absolutely. It is not even in the conversation. No. It's a different state. You got to pay out-of-state tuition for that pizza. For sure. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, but round table's good. He didn't even eat any of it? Well, Rob, what do you mean you already ate? What did you eat? He didn't already eat, Eddie. It's that eating disorder thing. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I already ate. I already ate. I already pass out. Zeth is our... Zed. He is our... Zed. He... Yeah? Does stuff. That's true. That is very true, Mike. That's right. Well, Seth. Mm-hmm. Let me turn his microphone on. Well, Seth. There we go. Yeah! Zeth, what's new with you? What's going on? Not much, man. I'm boring. It's kind of sad. Yeah? Yeah. I'm very brown today. I am. Got the brown jacket, the brown t-shirt, the brown hat. Liar! Liar! Oh, no. Liar! Oh, I'm stepping back. Ashley, what's up? What? What'd I miss? Mike just asked you, is anything new going on in your life? No. He says, no, I'm boring. I'd like to hear from Ashley what's going on. Oh, yeah. I got over.
Let me tell you something. Now we have to. Does Seth want airtime? I mean, do you want to be a part of this show? Do you want the listeners to get to know you at all? That's kind of what I meant by, you know, beautiful image. Gosh. Kind of a rough message. It's like Bambi with things. Yes. What do we always ask you about, Seth? What is Mike always interested in about you? Raggedy Ann with AIDS. I really should have had a discussion with you. It's like those old billboards. How'd you get AIDS? You ever seen those old billboards of people smoking, having cigarettes? Right. And they're doing like, they're like, you know, like whitewater rafting. And it looks so much fun, but they're smoking. Yeah, sometimes the two don't go together. I don't like you. Whitewater rafting with that cigarette in your hand. Anyway, Zeth, what are you not sharing with us that Ashley wants to rip your face off about? I went on a date on Tuesday. You went on a date? What's his name? It never gets old. It's funnier every time. You went on a date Tuesday night. What's the deal? You weren't ready to talk about it because you didn't want to jinx it? Or you really forgot about it? Don't concern yourself that Ashley will get mad about your answer. I'm really mad.
I haven't really had the conversation with her about talking about it on the air. I'm not sure if she's comfortable with it or not. Ash, you do that all the time, girl. You do that all the time, man. Listen, if I had said that you had some kind of date without discussing it with you, you would have kicked me in the teeth. 100% if there's names involved and details, but can't he just say that he went on a great date? Come on, bro. If I said that you went on a date, this is what you would do body language-wise. You go. Yep. Okay. And I go, and I go, and I go, and I go, oh, oh, what? I didn't know. What? Am I not supposed to? Sorry. And I apologize. Wow. I do, and you're right, and I'm sorry. This is awful. There you go. I apologize. Wow. I'm sorry, Zach. I didn't mean to. You're right. Weekend is ruined. Oh, do you not want to talk about it yet? I know who I'm blaming for the breakup. I'll talk about it. It's fine. You will? You will? Are you sure? Are you sure? Yeah. Okay. I feel bad now. How old? She's... Turning 22 in about eight days. Oh, yeah. Okay, Sean. Chill out, dude. I'm just saying, good job, dude. Well, he's only 22. She's 21. Right. It's okay. All right. Did you go to that Chili's? No. That was like a Norm Macdonald right there. Chili's? Did you go to that? Chili's? Oh, man.
Baby back ribs. You guys knew that curbside there? Take away. It's a great service. Best impression ever. So good. So, Seth, did it go well or how did it go? Yeah, it went really well. We've been spending quite a bit of time together the past couple days, actually. Did you meet on that Facebook? Did you meet on Facebook? No, we didn't meet on Facebook. Weird. You rocked my life. Probation hearing? Anything like that? Probation hearing. Through a mutual friend. That's always the best. There you go. Well, good luck to you. We will find out how that's going.
I will definitely have the conversation with her today about speaking about it. Talking about it. There you go. Well, welcome to the program. Are you raising your hand, Ash? Yeah. What? Sean's sitting backwards in his chair again. Yeah, I said that earlier. I know. I get to see it. Finally. Oh. I get to see it. You now have a... Yes. Oh, that's great. It used to be only me, Eddie, and Skye. Such a great day for me. That could see... Shawnee on the computer. And now we can all see him. Oh, he's posing. You look great. Handsome. Wow, that is a senior picture right there. Oh, it really is. That is not. That is not a senior picture. That is a Twilight Zone episode. Sean, be on Blair Witch. Sean, be on Blair Witch. Be Blair Witch and be really frightened. I'm so scared right now. You're really good at that. I'm so scared. Oh my gosh. 570-1053 is our phone number. And at the beginning and end of every show, you're allowed to call in and talk about anything you want. I mean, just anything. It's an open forum. You can go for it. Anything that you feel is relevant, go ahead. Talk about it. They're really, really proud of this homeless guy that returned a wallet full of cash here in San Diego. You're welcome.
Very honorable, Rob. Good job, Rob. Yeah, no. No, not you. Yeah, he's a homeless vet, and he came up. cross a wallet that had almost 500 bucks inside of it. Yeah, and you know, he said that he felt like at that point there was like a devil and an angel on his shoulder and he knew it could go either way and so he decided to immediately take the wallet to like the nearest store and the store owner called the police and they found the owner and everything. I believe God will reward him for that. Great karma. Cut 53. Almost adjacent to the traffic light on the sidewalk. there's a black wallet just sitting there i saw 120 and a bunch of ones but i don't know what was in between them so and i didn't want to look because i had the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other you ever see that cartoon good for you bro yeah and then it turns out that the guy who um owns the wallet um
is some sort of like works on some sort of homeless task force and is now going to try and look into getting this guy a job and helping get his life back on track. Isn't that amazing? There you go. That's awesome. Good stuff, man. I love to hear that. P1 Paradise, are you there? Hey, Mikey, what's up? What's up, dude? Hey, you know, I was thinking yesterday and then you really nailed it again today as I was listening at the opening of the show. I wish that Sky knew the news. and explain the news the way that Eddie knew sports. You wish that or how does she? Whoever said that. No, I wish that. I wish it for you. I wish it for the listeners. Dude, I got to be honest with you. I'll defend when I have to defend. I got to be honest. Sky explains the news to me every morning before we go on the air. She's the best. But that's okay that she's trying to explain it to you because you're not the news guy. She's not that educated when it comes to telling her about it. He's talking about. He's talking about. That's so rude. Eddie, stop with the giggling over there. He's not helping the situation. That is messed up. It's kind of funny. If somebody said that about you, I would be devastated. You would not be devastated. You would be pissed. I would be pissed.
on and he'd want to fight. You know, but it's always, you know, hurt, sadness, and devastated. P1 Art is on the line. Hey guys, how you doing this morning? What's up, man? Hey, I gotta wait for Sky to win those races. I don't want to win. Gangle a ham in front of her. Somebody said that. I thought it was a great idea. We didn't have one. All right. We didn't have one. That ham's good. Yeah, listen. If we had the fastest guy out on that track with a ham tied behind his car, you know what I'm saying? It would be right out in front. That's not stupid. I don't think that'd be stupid. Honey baked. P1 Danny is on the line. Mikey Show. What's up, dude? Hey, we need to talk about loss today. Oh, boy. Yeah, we do. Yes, we. Oh, boy. Yes, we do, sir. Oh, boys. I am going to allow Danny to select one of the following three clips. Are you ready, Danny? Yes. Sweet. All right. So, Danny, I'm going to give you these three clips. You pick which one strikes your fancy. Okay. Daniel tells Jack that there are time perception differences between the island and the boat is one. Okay. Number two is...
Desmond finds out he's time traveling between 2004 and 1996. Okay. Or Desmond reaches Penny by phone from the boat. Which one of those do you like the most? Of course. Number three. Okay. Cut 13. Des, where are you? I'm on a boat. I've been on an island. Penny, is that really you? Yes, it's me. You believe me? You still care about me? I've been looking for you for the past three years. What about the island? I've been researching. And then when I spoke to your friend Charlie, that's when I knew you were still alive. That's when I knew I wasn't crazy. Yes, yes, I'm here. I'm still here. Can you hear me? Yeah, yeah, that's better. I love you, Penny. Liz loves you. I'm so sorry. Love you. I don't know where I am, but... I'll find you, Des. I promise. No matter what. I'll come back to you. I won't give up. I promise. I love you. I love you.
You guys, first of all, good choice. Good choice, Danny. I haven't seen the show in two years. That sounded rad. I don't know what's going on. That sounded rad. It is crazy. Get caught up. If my wife is listening right now, I promise you this weekend, she saved the thing to get me caught up at the beginning of the season. We're doing it this weekend. I told her this. I go, honey how do i avoid this i said how do i avoid people saying to me when i'm trying to you know like participate how do i avoid you don't know what you're talking about you didn't watch it the last two seasons i said the first time i hear that i'm gonna be like i'm out and she goes you won't i don't think you will what do you guys think of that uh yeah if you watch the you know recap thing and the you know this season You should be all right. Yeah, she says she thinks I'll be caught up with the recap. You will, because I just caught myself at Mike, and you'll be fine. That sounded good. Here's the deal. Yeah, talk about it. I truly believe what this whole show has been about is that the island is in the Bermuda Triangle. Yes, yeah. That is definitely a good thought. Because there's always been those questions about time and all that stuff.
Time continuums in the Bermuda Triangle. And I think that's what this entire show has been about. Well, you know what lends itself to that? Is that they're in Miami. And so if you were flying from Australia to Miami, you would pass through there. Yeah. Yeah. So that makes a lot. What do you think of that, Danny? I mean, it's a possibility. Like, I think I believe Quimby's theory that Ben is behind the oceanic thing. He's got something to do with it. It's a whole conspiracy. That's what I love about Lost is that, you know, like four different things make really good sense. And they all could be true. Oh, definitely. They all could be true. All plausible. It was a crazy episode last night. Awesome. And now there's time travel. I mean. It's just weird. It's really weird. Thank you, Danny. You're welcome, guys. See you later. Zeth, who's bringing food today? I have to look. I'm not sure. Seth's our food guy. It's a place called. It's from the... The Quarter Kitchen. Oh, here it is. The what? It's from a cuisine. The what? I can't hear you. The house in here. It's Chef Bo... Oh, that's the very famous name. It's adorable. On the show today, we are going to be doing our very first ever Battle of the Sexes. Oh, my God.
Comedian. Bob Saget will be in the studio today. Shut up. Awesome. That's right. Shut up. That's crazy. Yeah, we got a lot going on today. Killer audio for you. And stuff. Brian Regan in the Stand-Up Spotlight. To Stand-Up Snow 53. I saw something very interesting today. I'm not making this up. I saw a van for some company. I don't even know what the business was. It had two things printed on the side. We speak English. and weed delivery. Is that right? Can you imagine being bilingual? Would that be... Or even knowing anybody? I'm not even unilingual. Actually, I shouldn't say that. I don't give myself enough credit. I know enough English to, like, you know, get by, you know? Like, I can order in restaurants and stuff, you know? I want ham! Want ham, please, to eating the ham! Bring ham to eating the ham, please!
I can do that, you know, just not fluent, I guess, you know. I'm going to rock 105.3. Tomorrow's the big day. Tomorrow is when the Padres single game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. So if you want to get a specific game that you know that they're playing. Weather ride this morning is getting a little bit tougher out here, and we're dealing with some heavier fog than we had the last few days, and even some light drizzle in some areas, so just be careful.
We've got South 15 now backing up from the 78 off and on down the Via Rancho Parkway. Some reduced speeds again into Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain Ranch. Farger south, though, there is an accident involving a couple of cars here that banged it up. They're now on the right-hand shoulder before Miramar Way. You will find a bit of a slowdown around that, though. The coaster ride, South 5, a little tougher as well out of Lucadia down into Solana Beach. No worries out of the East County. The West 894, both these freeways looking good into the city. 5-0-5 northbound, really not too bad out of the South Bay as well. The 5 freeway, bunching up a little bit around that South Bay freeway at the 54. And the North 805, a brief glitch right around North Park. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. P1 Sanjaya. What's going on, Mikey? What's going on, dude? You went to sleep train? I went out to sleep train and bought myself a mattress, finally. When did you do it? I went this Sunday, actually. Cool. What did you get? Yeah, I got a Beautyrest Comfort Classic. Did they deliver it Sunday, Monday, or when? Sunday when I told them to because I was moving that day. Really? It worked out perfect. That's pretty awesome. And did they take your... Well, wait a minute. If you were moving, did they have to take your set or did you get rid of it yourself? No, I got rid of it myself. So they bring the new one in. Did they set it up for you? They set it up for me within like five minutes. And how did it feel that first night? Just like being in heaven. That's awesome, man. That's pretty... That's awesome, dude. That's awesome.
Yeah, I tell people about Sleep 10. Did they give you a good price? Oh, yeah, dude. I went in there after the promotion about getting everything for free. And the dude's still doing everything for free. And after I told him that Mikey sent me personally, he knocked off $700. That's awesome. Yeah. All right, brother. Thank you, Sanjaya. All right, dude. Talk to you later, man. Sleep change your ticket to a better night's sleep. The Mikey Show. Where you'll get a physical for your morals from Dr. Phil. Let's get real here for just a minute. I'm not sure why we're talking to you, Dr. Phil. Makes sense. The reason that we're talking to me about it is because I know a little bit of everything about a little bit of everything. Barack has told me in private that if elected, he will eradicate... All of the desperate housewives from Earth. I don't believe that he said that. Be gone with you, housewives. Be gone with you, housewives. Are you doing magic? I banished you to syndication. Although, I have to say, Nicolette Sheridan and I once raised an alpaca together for a short time. So she can stay, I guess.
has gotten clearance to use the Beatles song catalog this season on the show. NFL free agency opened yesterday at midnight and all kinds of crazy stuff already happening, including the Browns quarterback, Derek Anderson, rejecting their offer and has become a free agent. Coming up in just a little bit, we're going to be doing what you doing at the courthouse. Boston Rob with a recorder on the front steps of the San Diego County courthouse saying just that. What you doing at the courthouse? When you guys think about silicone implants, and I'm talking about the actual silicone implants, I'm not talking about anybody famous that got silicone implants. But you know what that is, right? Eddie, you know what silicone implants are. Old days. So, Sky, what do you think when you think silicone implants?
I kind of think about, like, outdated technology. It makes me think that they're dangerous, a health risk. Yeah. Eddie. Yeah, same thing. Same thing here, too. That's what I thought the deal was. Uh-huh. Well, apparently, silicone implants are making a comeback. What? I had no idea. Now, the reason that they were taken off the market was because of concerns about leakage. Yeah. Women that have silicone implants from the old days, they swear by them. They say, you know, they're very natural looking, that to the touch, they feel like their breasts. But they would leak and these women would get very sick. Well, so they took them off the market in 1992. I didn't know this, but apparently they got reapproved in 2006, two years ago. I didn't even know it. And so I guess. They're starting to make a comeback, and that's becoming... And there's also a new kind of implant that is safer, and it's called the gummy bear implant. I mean, I guess it's like a... It must look and feel like a gummy bear. Now, whether or not they're made of sugar and coloring, I don't know. Does it taste like a gummy bear? I don't know. It's under the muscle. You can't get to it.
But, you know, so anyway, they got these things and that's a big deal, I guess. That's because you have big jugs. So what else can I tell you? One in every 100 Americans is behind bars. That can't be right. Well, I think I saw this statistic and I think I mentioned it. And when this guy said, I went, what? When she told me this statistic, I said, what? But then I was thinking about it. And I think that I saw, because I taped this special documentary on prisons. And I think that it said, it was either 25% or 75%. Either way, that's a big number to me. I can't remember which it was, 25 or 75. But 25 or 75% of the world's population of prisoners is in the United States. What? Yeah, America is now ranked the world's number one incarcerator. We have more people per capita or in raw numbers in prison than any other nation. Wow. Yeah, they say the actual number is one out of every 99.1 adults is behind bars. That's over 2,300,000 people in U.S. jails and prisons. I wonder.
I would be interested to go on to Wikipedia and find out what country has the, you know, in terms of population, what country has the least amount. My guess is it's going to be some sort of Asian country. China. Or Singapore. Because we know what they do in Singapore. Amsterdam? Why Amsterdam? I've heard that it's a very like peaceful country. And then also because I know like they have things that are legal, so many things that are legal there. Like, I don't know, when I went to visit there, like the only cops I saw were on bicycles and they were like super chill. I like that you use that example because that's an example of kind of the opposite of where I was going. So I like using it as a... Kind of a measuring stick. Okay, so... I love weed. There's a country that's like, everybody smoke some grass, get some hookers, you know, let's have cops on bikes and everybody chill out. Yeah. I want to move there and become king. Mm-hmm. Jeez. I pass on grass. Yeah, you'd like it there. Sounds like it'd be an easy takeover. Yeah. I don't know. Well, then you have Singapore. And in Singapore, they say, if you spit gum on the street... Mm.
We will remove your pants and we will smack your buttocks with a cane made out of bamboo. Harsh. This is a true statement. This is what we call the ghetto portion of the show. That's true. What he just said, that's true. And so, because we remember, you're probably too young to remember this, Ashley, Rob, Zeph. I remember. But you remember this guy that I'm about to talk about? Yep. Yeah. And you remember too, Zach. Do you remember Ashley? Yep. Ashley remembers too. What are you talking about? What is he about to talk about? Sky, you do not remember this? I don't know. You haven't even said anything yet. Singapore. Yeah. Caney. Caney. You don't immediately go, oh yeah. Trump with the paint. What? Yeah, the paint. Yeah. I was. Why would Sky miss this one? Here's the deal.
Ashley, do you know what he's... No, I have no idea. Please. There was a kid. There was an American kid in Singapore. And this Yahoo was vandalizing. Ah, yes, I remember. It's sounding vaguely familiar. And what they did was they were going to cane him. And so there was a big controversy in the United States. And our government was trying to talk their government out of doing it. And we actually thought... For a moment. That they weren't going to do it. Really? Yeah, because it was looking that way. It was actually looking like they were not going to do it. And then they decided that they were going to do it. And it was like a countdown in the United States, man. Like we were all, like tomorrow there came in that kid. Really? Yeah. And they did, man. What? They pull your pants down. Dude. And you expose your naked buttocks. Yeah. And, you know, you bend over and blammy wowie zowie with that cane right on your buttocks. Wow. Blammy wowie zowie. What they say happens is. Now, I don't mean to get too graphic on anybody listening to their car right now. And I know you've got children. Go ahead. No, Sean, I wasn't talking exactly directly to you. I was saying to the people that are driving right now and may have kids, this is an important thing. This is really what happens in other countries. In fact, this may be a shock.
To a lot of people driving around with their kids right now. It would be important for your kids to hear this. It splits the skin. That's what happens when that cane hits you. It splits the skin. It stings. Now, I do know this. Vandalism is not a problem in Singapore. People don't vandalize there. They do not vandalize there. And I remember at the time this kid was like, hey, guys, just kidding. My bad. I was messing around. But you know what? People vandalize here and then they say that and then, you know. You're good to go. You're good to go. You're good to go. You know, you do it in America and, you know. Slap on the wrist, maybe. Yeah, they don't really get that mad at you. No. Yeah, dude, I know because. Wait. Come on. Come on. No, dude. What? For real, bro. For real what? Have you seen, like. When you go down the Chula Vista, bro, you see all the tagging on the freeway? I see some of it, yeah. Dude, I did most of it. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. Don't say that. I didn't. Yeah, it's true. Well, that's a crime. No, dude, you know why? Because I have Sky take me to Ace Hardware and buy me cans of spray, dude. Sky? I do not. I've never done any such thing. That's a lie. Tell him, Tia.
No. It's a lie, Beto. I wouldn't say that. No, dude. Sky buys. Here's what Sky gets for me. Beto. Okay. Spray paint. Whoa. Beer. Really? I do not. You're 14. I do not. And hookers, dude. What's up? No, no. I've never. I've never. I've never. I've never. Never. Yeah, Sky. No. Sky, I can't believe you. That's a bad thing to get for a kid. No good. No good, Sky. Let's get girls pregnant at the same time. Pregnant and everything. You're lying again. Brain pain, I get a girl pregnant. How is that possible? All right, we got to take a quick time out. And when we come back, we're going to do Whatcha Doing at the Courthouse. This is where we have Boss and Rob on the steps of the courthouse asking people as they walk in, Whatcha Doing at the Courthouse? And right before we do Whatcha Doing at the Courthouse...

Would you like to have it rebuilt or replaced? Yeah. I wouldn't either. Now, if I take my car to a dealership, when I see that check engine light on, this might be what's suggested of me. How long do you get? Say a month, give or take. That's about it. We got to get that. Lift it. I need you. Who can help? Zeth? There you go. She's a smart girl. Perfect, perfect. All right, well, if you're asking yourself, what's going on with Chantel? She's going to represent with the chicks today. I am. Yes, she is. Oh, yes, she is. We're shaking over here. I mean, what else would you be doing? We're going to be doing our battle of the sexes for the first time coming up in just a little bit right now. The people in cases you are about to hear are real. The person interviewing them is real. Stupid. It's time for what you're doing at the courthouse. Boss and Rob, am I confused? Did you tell me something about this and I don't know? There are different clips on here. One say courthouse, one say courthouse edit. Oh, oh, it's just one through three. Just one through three. I gave you the list. You should have it. Check the list. Look at the list. To your right. Okay. List it up, piece of paper. What's the edits?
Oh, that's something I've got to work on. Something special for you. Something that shouldn't be on the radio? Surprise, in the works. You're going to love it. It makes me very nervous. I don't like that. So, Boston Rob got to meet a real-life bounty hunter. What? Who was on the courthouse steps. Let's take a listen. So, what are you doing at the courthouse? I'm down here because I'm a bounty hunter and I'm... Basically, I was on the look for one of my clients that took off on me, and in the search for him, we found him. What was his charges? Was it anything violent? What are we talking about? This is not dog, by the way. Oh, is it? For those of you who thought, it is not dog, the bounty hunter. possession, you know, little things like that. So you know who you're dealing with? You're dealing with a hardcore criminal pretty much. Yeah, I'm dealing with these guys on a daily basis. Now that's a guy he's looking for. He's looking for a guy that's up on these charges. Yep. Got it, got it. We've been working this field for a while, and we know what we're looking for. When we go after them, when they take off on bail, we know what we're looking for. So now what happened? Basically what happened is we went to the address where we thought he would be at. He was outside with a couple of his friends. My team approached him.
And when we approached them, basically they started swinging with bats. And I was attacked and got hit in the head twice. Had three stitches, 14 staples. And now we're down here doing the prosecution on that. This is why I'm a talk show host. I'm not a bounty hunter. That's why I'm not a bounty hunter. If it weren't for that. Yeah, I have one for the bats. Yeah, I do it. You guys got them. You guys obtained them. Is he looking at some time now? Well, considering I am a peace officer and... Yeah, he's going to be, you know, he's got to charge with a salt battery again times 10. And, you know, the court's going to do their thing. As you know, when we play clips back, I like to imagine everybody that we're listening to as a puppet. And so as I was listening to that, this particular guy had bandages on the puppet head. He was maybe in a little puppet sling. And the puppet was bobbing up and down talking to Boston Rob's puppet. So, okay. It's a tough job that guy has. Now, the next guy that Boston Rob meets on the steps of the courthouse, and can't wait to imagine this is a puppet. This is somebody that is telling Boston Rob why you should not break up.
With your girlfriend. Is that right, Rob? That is correct. One hint of advice. When you think about his puppet, imagine like googly eyes. Like the eyes can't stay still. The eyes are sort of, you know, the black ones that sort of flip around inside the white. Exactly. All right. So what are you doing at the courthouse today? Making sure my court was tomorrow like I thought. And we're drunk in public, you know what I mean? Just a little misdemeanor, that's all? Yeah. You got any other crazy court stories or anything? Crazy. Okay. Maybe you will. Wait, what happened? You just broke up with your girl and the brother came after you? Yeah, she was real mouthy and violent, you know what I mean? By the way, I just want to let you know, Boston Rob's puppet is wearing a wife beater. Just to show you know. Covered in tattoos. Covered in tattoos. A puppet? Covered in tattoos. Go there with her and she... How long were you guys dating? For a long time? A couple years. A couple years and then finally you said, you know what, I had it, see you later. Yeah. That's exactly what happened and she went and hit me and I was holding her off and she went and told her brother I hit her and two of her brothers were my best friends and they believed me but the other brother...
He didn't listen to it and he stabbed me in my sleep. Okay. That's normal. You know, listen. Wait until the guy fell asleep and then he stabbed him. It's easier to do the stabbing. Exactly. Nice sleeping. He stabbed you in your sleep? Yeah. How many times? Seven times. So did he break into your house? Matter of fact, he... Barged in. Yes, he did. Yeah, he did. I was asleep. He came in. He had to break in. Did you ever press charges? Anything happen with it? Well, I didn't press the charges. I just got him away from the house. You know what I mean? Wow. I do not know what you mean. I do not know what you mean. Please clarify. I wish I knew what you meant. I don't know. I want no problems, you know. Yeah. I didn't want to have to retaliate. And what happened? with this dude, the guy that stabbed me. He stabbed somebody else around the same time. Okay. Well, great. He's a serial killer. Hey, it wasn't me. Are you sure? I'm telling you, it wasn't me, man. He's got 15 years anyway, so it's in his act. So he's locked up. Yeah, for a while. I was at a knife signing autograph session that day. It wasn't me, man. So what you doing at the courthouse? This guy.
is somebody that Boston Rob says has very strong opinions on rape. Hopefully nothing too scandalous here. I'm coming out here to be responsible, taking care of my child support. You got some thoughts on a couple of things, like what? Well, for one, I got issues with people that's raping people, raping these women out there. Good, don't we all? I'm a man of God, and I'm supposed to be able to forgive that individual, but I'm finding it hard to do that. So he's got a very specific take on rape. I believe that they should adopt the same type of policies they have over in Iran or Iraq where you get caught stealing and they just cut you and castrate you. Okay. And they should adopt that policy out there. Well, then, there you go. Castrate? He tried. Now, Rob, what was he there for? Did he say ever? Mostly hanging out. I got you. Yeah, aren't we all? Who amongst us hasn't been arrested for that? Yep. Ha, ha, ha. Don't go anywhere because when we come back, our very first Battle of the Sexes, Chantel is here and she's fired up. I'm ready. Take a quick break, come back, and we will tell you who on the show is participating in the Battle of the Sexes and what's at stake. Don't go away. Love you, Michael.

What's up, Tom?
Hey, I want to let you know, I just bought a new truck through a local dealership, and I had never had insurance before. And if I would have went with the insurance that they offered, I would have been paying $1,500 a year, so I figured I'd check out AIS. I got the same coverage through AIS for like $400 and change. Are you serious? That's for the whole year. I couldn't believe it. Oh, dude, I love hearing it. I can't thank you enough, man. Now I can actually make my payments. 1-800-777. AIS. It's 1-800-777-4247. That is so great, dude. I'm really happy for you. And I mean, for people that are listening right now that have heard me talk about AIS and have not called yet because they're like, it must just be those people or whatever. What would you say to people that have not called about AIS yet? I would say it's for real. Check it out. Yep. It worked for you, right? It worked for me. Thanks a lot, man. It worked for Tom. It can work for you. I appreciate you calling in, Tom. 1-800-777-4247. It's AIS. Tell them that I told you to call. I guarantee you, you're going to be so happy. It's the sound of healing. Oh, you're welcome, San Diego. K-I-O-Z, San Diego's rock. And now another moment from the Mikey Show. Come on, Mikey. It's getting really good. Oh, my God. It's like Grants in Missouri. Oh, I loved that movie when I was a kid, man. That was a great movie. That was a naughty movie. You should be watching that. Was it really? I saw that movie with a truck driver that was a friend of my parents. Now, it turned out he was a nice guy. I mean, anything could have happened. How did they know this truck driver? They knew him. I guess they met him on a CB or something. The Mikey Show continues.
Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show at 718. Doctors in California and Texas are being investigated in connection to Heath Ledger's death. More NFL news. The Giants give their head coach, Tom Coughlin, a four-year, $21 million extension. Oh, wow. Well, I guess that is redemption for the guy. One time they thought he was going to get fired. You win the Super Bowl, that's what happens. I guess so. Bob Saget is going to be in the studio coming up. How about that? Yeah, Bob Saget. So, yeah, we'll be talking to him pretty soon. What's he doing, Eddie? I bet something at that club. He's actually performing at 4th and B. Is he really? It's going to be a big show, I believe, March 7th. There you go. It's like a week. You guys ready to do this?
Now here's Mikey. Battle of the sexes. First, let me let everybody know who is playing for who. On the guys' side, we have Boston Rob, Eddie, and Sean. Yeah. Wow. And on the girls' side, we have Sky, Ashley, and Chantel. What up? They are so lucky they have Chantel. Because if it were just Skye and Ashley, holy cow, it would be the easiest victory of all time. Listen, we were sitting there talking about it back in the office, and we're like, do we know any smart chicks? No, we really didn't. So basically, this is what we've come up with. Yeah, but we knew kind of a cool chick, so we're like, there you go. I don't know if she's smart or not. I don't know. I don't know you are. We'll find out.
We're about to find out. Yeah, we are. We're about to find out. Chantel, you better beat them. I can tell you that me, Sean, and B-Rob, we're Team Awesome, and we are... That's right. Oh, is that your name? Yeah, we're Team Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. All right, Sean. This is the way this is going to work. Battle of the sexes. Battle of the Sexes is going to, this is going to be a weekly thing that we do. But I hate it already. And it's going to last a while. Actually. It's going to last a while. Oh, I do. At the end of it. And when I say a while, I mean like three months or so, okay? It's going to last a while. Actually. At the end of it. What is this? At the end of it. We hate trivia. We're going to have a wager. We hate anything that challenges our brain. There will be a wager at the end of it that the guys or the girls will have to pay off on. The wager will involve one element, costuming. The loser will have to wear some sort of ridiculous costume. Now, what will that costume be? That's up to you, P1s. 570-1053. You're going to leave it up to them? You got that right. Oh, crap. This is what you do. Call us right now at 570-1053. What should the guys look like?
What should the girls look like? Be cool, P1s. Please. Boston Rob, go ahead and start screening those. And we'll take some calls. Oh, man. Be creative. No, don't. I want you to be very creative. Be boring. Jeans and a t-shirt. That's humiliating. That's great. Yes. I hate that. Please don't suggest that. Now, for those of you that do not know how Battle of the Sexes work, is that we ask questions of the guys that are girl-related, and we ask questions of the girls that are guy-related. And it sounds easy enough, right? Well, yeah. It sounds. Yeah. It sounds easy enough. It should be easy. But we'll see. Yes, we will. Now, here's something interesting to point out. This is how it's going to work. We're going to have two rounds, and the person with the most points wins for the day. The person with the most victories at the end of this thing, they're the winner. Gotcha. Who's keeping track of the? Yeah, he's in charge. We always have one person that's in charge of it, and in this case, it's Zed. Our boy Zeth. Zed. We'll be keeping track. Zed. Zed, Zed, baby. So call us right now at 570-1053. Because he's neither male or female. That is correct. That's why we chose him. It's called Smooth Like Ken, I believe, is the official. Yes, the official classification is Smooth Like Ken. Never heard of it.
Give us a call, and what we want you to do is suggest to us what the payoff should be. What should the guys have to dress like? What should the ladies have to dress like? So let's do this. Why don't we get into it? Oh, okay. Let's start asking the questions. Bring it. We will begin with the men. Team Awesome. We will begin with the men. That's the worst name ever. Ever. Awesome. All right. The reason that I like this is every guy is in charge. of answering a question specifically to him. You can't discuss it. Every girl is in charge with answering a question for her. You can't discuss it. No cheating. You guys got Ashley the anchor over there. Exactly. Weigh you down. It's kind of like... We'll be fine. That's our girl. He's coaching Demge Challenge. This is a whole other level, sweetheart. Out on the track, you're enemies, kid. He just called me sweetheart. That's how it's going to be? That's right. Okay, great. Now, let me tell you something. These questions are not always going to be easy, okay? You cannot discuss it. Who's picking these questions? I am. Oh, great. Yeah, no bias there. Sky, Sky, I'm telling you. Don't start this junk already. We've got three months of this. I know it. I'm just saying. Now listen, Sky, I'm telling you. There is no bias. There is no bias. I really, I'm not. He doesn't care who wins. I don't. Now. Whatever.
You cannot discuss it with your mates, and this is like family feud. You can either make it or break it for your team. Oh, great. Oh, pressure. Yeah, no pressure, but if you get the question wrong, Chantel, Sky and Ashley are going to hate you. A little, maybe. We'll never hate you. All right, we will begin. We'll just need to kick our ass. That is true. Just so we don't mess with you. We will begin with the guys. Oh, boy. Eddie, your question is... Oh, team captain, here we go. Okay, wait, that's who? Come on, dude, you can do it, I know it. No problem. Eddie, true or false, men get more migraine headaches than women? He's getting a migraine right now. Will you stop blinking your eyes? He's getting a migraine right now. That question is very, very, very confusing. Well, I'm not a doctor. You are a doctor. And you're trained in the martial arts. That is true. This is true. Can you repeat the question? Yes, I will. That ain't true or false. Men get more migraine headaches than women. False. That is correct.
Eddie, well done. Thank you. Team Awesome. On the board. That's right. I'm in here. What? Yes. And I will do whatever you tell me. So great. Am I allowed to take great delight when men get these questions? No. Not if you're the question picker. Right? All right, fine. It's so easy. All right, ladies. What in the world? Yeah, we better have a true or false in there. This is madness. We will begin with Sky. It's a 50-50. Sky, true or false? The only Seinfeld episode to not begin with the word the is titled Male Unbonding. Male Unbonding? True or false, Skye? I just want the name of this show. The only Seinfeld episode to not begin with the word the is titled Male Unbonding. Stupid question. It's just true or false. I know. Calm yourself. Yes. Mike! I can't do that, right? Shut your mouth! Oh my gosh! Hurry up! I am gonna say... True. You are correct. That's how we do it here. You're the best. You're better than Eddie. Lucky guess. Back to the fellas.
Boston Rob. Oh, no. Yo, be Rizzy, come on. Yeah, all right, all right. Head in the game, head in the game. Come on, Drew, a false. You got it, dude. You got it. Boston Rob, which of the following is specifically marketed to relieve PMS? Emetrex, Tylenol, Excedrin, Midol. Midol. You are correct. How easy? That was the easiest question ever. That was the easiest question ever. Come on. Please stop it. Why are you attacking Skye? Why? What? That was the easiest question. What's going on? Ashley. Yeah. That was dumb. Your question. Well, you guys are ladies. Of course. All right. Then go ahead. I don't know what Emetrex is. I had no idea. Never heard of it. But everyone knows what Midol is. Yes, everyone. That's the point. I do know what Midol is for when you get your period. Well, see, that's proving our point. I know that one. How easy it is. Ashley. What? Your question is. What do you use a chamois for? You know. Chantel. I'm just wanting to show a little emotion. That's right. That's it. Chantel jumped out of her seat. A little emotion. She jumped out of her seat. That's the killer whale. Stop it. She's got this. I know it. Can you spell it? Chamois actually kissed me one time. And he's scared of him. And he hates him. You see how this is?
Well, wait a second. I can't make jokes? We can't make jokes. You guys can. Mike can't. Yeah, I'm not allowed. I cannot. I cannot make jokes. What about the discussion we had before the show began? Isn't that the nickname for Chantel? Shammy? All right, Mike. We'll all make fun then. Let's just keep going. Come on, Ash. You got this. Can you spell it for me? Yes, I can. C-H-A-M-O-I-S. Sure, that made it easier. And you're asking me, what is a chamois? What is a chamois? Look at Chantel wants to scream. Chantel's coming out of her skin right now. A chamois is something that may... It's my Puggles name. I hate you, Mike. Three seconds. To protect their junk. Wow. That is incorrect, Ashley. I'm surprised. Oh, it's not? I beg to differ. Ashley, you use a chamois for cleaning. Like, you use it on your car. You know, it soaks up all the water on the car. Makes it nice and sparkly. A little sparkly and really nice. Oh, look who's in the lead. What a shock. Shut up. Team awesome. Wait, Eddie, I don't know. What's the score? We're up two to one. Oh, wow. Sean. Sean, your question is, true or false, females are born with all their eggs.
True or false? That is true, Mike. That is correct. Wow. This is the easiest. All kids are getting the easiest. We are. You are. Yeah. I got a random Seinfeld question. That was random. That was the hardest question. Will you stop at the answer? This was random. I have no idea. Men or women get more. Dude, come on. We now go to Chantel. Please. I'm ready. She's got this. Chantel, Mach 3 is a razor made by what company? Okay. That's a guy question. That is a guy question right there. I know it's between those two. I'm going to go with Gillette. You are correct. Ladies and gentlemen, we must take a break. Who's in the lead, Mike? The guys are in the lead, Eddie. The guys are in the lead. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Who got the question wrong? It's okay. Leave her alone. The anchor. Girls, I'm sorry that Ashley let you down, but don't worry. Stop calling me an anchor. When we come back. Stop, Eddie. Call me an anchor. We'll do one more round, and I hate to break it to you, but the anchor's going to participate. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. 105.3 UFC champion Anderson, the Spider Silva, will face pride champion Dan Henderson to unify the 185-pound titles.

Todd wrote me an email. Tell everybody what you wrote me in the email. Mikey, I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Cunningham pillow top over at Sleep Train two weeks ago, and it was just an amazing experience. The salesperson gave me 10% off before he even knew I was in there for the Mikey show. And then I used the Ace card and said, oh, Mikey told me to come in, and I got an additional 10. So all in all, I saved 20% on the mattress. And I bought it at Mission Valley at 11 o'clock. They had it delivered and installed in Chula Vista by 2.30 on the same day. That's rad. And what's even more amazing, since it was a Cunningham pillow top, it was personalized by Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber. It was just amazing.
That's awesome. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train to all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Potsy Weber delivered it. Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Overall getting by with a fairly easy ride this morning. Though things are getting a little bit tougher here. And you're dealing with some fog in some places. And even some light drizzle. So, you know, just use caution. Be careful. Out of the South Bay boat, the 5805 northbound. You've got the usual stuff developing out of Chula Vista. Slow rides into National City. 805 bunching up again through North Park. And now you've got the busy one out of Kearney Mesa for a slow one over the 52. Coming into the Golden Triangle. The West 94 King Freeway also some reduced speeds now from Kelton to the 805. Westbound 8 hasn't been too bad this morning. You're just starting to bunch up, though, from Spring Street to La Mesa out to Lake Murray. And then again, as you make that turn on the northbound 15, the southbound side of the 15 coming out of Escondido. That's tight from Auto Parkway down the Via Rancho Parkway. So is again to the construction area in Carmel Mountain Ranch. And the coaster ride, southbound 5, that's pretty tough, as always, from Encinitas.
Slow and go down in Manchester in the Cardiff area. Derek Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Something you may have missed this morning on the... Yeah, dude, I know because... When you go down the Chula Vista road, you see all the tagging on the freeway? I see some of it, yeah. Dude, I did most of it. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. Don't say that. Yeah, it's true. Well, that's a crime. I have Sky take me through Ace Hardware and buy me cans of spray, dude. Here's what Sky gets for me. Okay. Spray paint. Whoa. Year. I do not. Year 14. I do not. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Mikey Show. 737. Well, I'm sure you've noticed gas prices just keep going up. They went up 18 cents just in the last week. The 49ers have been already super busy in the free agent period.
They've signed running back Deshaun Foster, quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan, defensive back Allen Rossum, and linebacker Dontarius Thomas. Definitely, definitely got to thank the folks over at the quarter kitchen at the Ivy Hotel. Let me tell you something, man. Truly amazing stuff, man. Amazing stuff over there. You know me. I'm a foodie, and this stuff looks incredible. I'm just reading from the various breakfast items that they have available. At the quarter kitchen at the Ivy Hotel, pancakes with Vermont maple syrup. Stuffed French toast. Little biscuits and gravy. A little bagel with some smoked salmon and cream cheese. How about a little homemade granola? Eggs Benedict. I'm telling you, man.
I don't know if you've heard of Damon Gordon. He is a celebrity chef and he's been the executive chef at some of the world's most exclusive hotels. Royalton in New York. The Delano in Miami. St. Martin's Lane Hotel in London. This guy knows what he's doing. And he is the chef at Quarter Kitchen at the Ivy Hotel. And if you want to check him out, quarterkitchen.com. Looks like pretty good stuff. Are you guys ready to get back in this? Absolutely. Ready to get back into this? Let's begin. Right now, just to let you know, the guys are in the lead. What's the score, Mike? Well, the score is three to two. Why are you bragging? What's the score, Mike? Guys are leading. Listen, for listeners that are just tuning in, for people that are just tuning in. What's the score, Mike? By one point, bro, that's a big deal. By the way, would you guys like to hear some of the suggestions of how you guys should pay the bet? No.
P1 Daddy is on the line. Daddy, what do you think the girls should dress like? I think the girls should dress like Oompa Loompas. Not bad. This is odd. Not bad at all. Let's see. And P1 Sam, are you there? Yeah. Hey, guys. How are you doing? Good. What's your suggestion for the guys? The guys should wear Scottish kilts or pink ballerina tutus. Oh, I like the tutus. We'll do the kilts. We can do the tutus. I like that. Kilts, no problem. There you go. 5701053, if you have a suggestion, because this is going to go on over a period of time, like about three months. We'll do this every week. And whoever accumulates the most points. Girls. Thank you. You guys are already losing. Does not have to do the bet payoff, but the loser does. So what should they have to wear? It's all about a costume. 5701053. All right. The guys started last time. Let's go to the girls this time. Oh, really? Skye, your question is, what is the largest land gorge in the world? Skye has a look on her face like... I thought this was Battle of the Sexes, not geography class. This is a pretty guy-ish question. Largest land gorge in the world? I have a guess. I don't even know where to begin. You want to take a guess? Mission gorge. It is not Mission gorge. It is not Mission gorge.
Extra point for that one. I bet the guys don't even know it. I bet they don't. Gorge Washington. I think I know you. Boy Gorge. Guys, can you really listen to the question? Really listen to the question and then just go with your gut. Boy Blender. Hey, wait a second. Did you hear what Ashley just said? No. She just helped Sky. What? I thought that was... She did not. She just said... Oh, no, really? Oh, did I really? First you're going to make fun of me and now you're going to do this. Think of the biggest one you can and go with your gut. That's not what I said at all. I said really listen to the question and go with your gut. How is that cheating? How is that cheating? Shut your mouth. Skye, the question is, what is the largest land gorge in the world? Well, I don't know what a land gorge is. So that's problem number one. So I'm going to go with the Grand Canyon. Well, you would be correct. How dumb are you? Really? Ashley deserves a point for that one. Why are you calling me dumb? Why are you being mean? Why are you lashing out? We're supposed to be friends. We're not friends. Not on the track. We go to the guys. Eddie just showed his balls.
Eddie, your question is, what does exfoliation remove? Oh, come on. Really? These questions, Mike? Yeah, okay. Guys, may I explain how the process works of selecting the questions? The questions are not necessarily selected on by how easy they are. They are selected on how hard. They are. So in other words, when I'm finding questions that I go, nobody's going to know this regardless of sex. I eliminate it. Okay. Then I take the ones that I know that are possible to answer and I put them on the list. You get that question on the guy's list? Hang on. Things like a Mach 3 razor is made by what company? What does a chamois do? These are questions that are answerable. Sean ran on the exfoliation ticket for his campaign. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, Ash, I'm telling you that these are questions that are online or in the game battle. And these are fair questions. May I say something? Or in battle of the sex is the game. No, you may not. I'm not sure about this. Can you repeat the question? Yes, I will. Stop it. Yes, I will. I will repeat the question.
What does exfoliation remove? I think it removes like a layer of dead skin. Dead skin cells is the answer. I've heard Eddie make a joke about exfoliation before. What does that mean? That you know what it means. That you knew it already. We like make a joke on the air. Ashley. And all ladies listening in the audience. Because every lady right now is cursing at her radio. Yes. And you. And me. Specifically you. I am going to tell you with my little hand of honor. My little dainty hand of honor. Yes, true. That while selecting these questions, it's very difficult to select the questions. I'll tell you why. Why? Because most of the questions, as I go through them, I go, wow, every person's going to know the answer to this. Like a chamois? Like a chamois. But the hard part is. The questions that I go, nobody's going to know this. And I have to eliminate those. No one's going to know. Ash, it's questions that, trust me, you wouldn't know.
It's like about the Marquise de Sade. Why would you pick a question that Sean could potentially get when he ran on the exfoliate ticket for his campaign? Ashley, who is the Marquise de Sade? That's crap. Who is the Marquise de Sade? I'm just saying. Please, do you understand what I'm saying? It's not fair. Can I just say one thing? Go ahead, Eddie. Have you heard Team Awesome yet complain one time about the questions and how easy that Gillette question was? Okay, then ask me a question about going green. How easy the question of the gray candy was? Team Awesome has not complained one time. Not even. Because there hasn't been an unfair question. There has been. What? Every one of your questions were so easy. Did she run on the Grand Canyon ticket? What does that have to do with anything? Sean ran on the exfoliate ticket. He didn't get the question. He could have. He could have. Yeah, that's not true. He didn't get the exfoliate question. Now, I can see her making the point if Sean had got the exfoliate question. the joke after that. What are you talking about? I'm not going to go through three months of this. The listeners too right now are shaking their heads going. She's brutal. Let's go. We're both right. I like that. You're complaining about the questions too. I've been quiet. Can you just chill out and enjoy the game? Time out. Let's just have fun. Ashley.
You can't make fun anymore. Ashley, your question is... Yes. I have their mics off. Love, not war. They're the worst. See? See, I'm trying to have fun. Your question is... Your friend's calling me names. I'm not fighting you! Let's move on. Ashley, your question is... How many pockets are there on a standard billiards table? Oh, unfair. Totally unfair, Mike. Why is it unfair, guys? Because I've made a billiards joke before. Because they've played pool once in their life. Probably the same thing. You know, this is fun. Wait a minute. This is actually interesting. Because the other day, Ashley was talking about playing pool with someone. That's right. Was that really? I think she was talking about playing pool. That's unfair. When? Because again, Mike, you're lashing out at me, which seems biased. Wait, wait, wait. Ash.
Weren't you talking about playing pool with somebody? First I'm helping Sky. Now I was talking about pool. You're making fun of me the last break. Ash, were you talking about playing pool with somebody the other day? Who cares? I thought she was. Let's just play the game. Go ahead. Ashley. You've got this. Four. You're very close. Oh, boy. You're very, very close. Extremely close. It's actually six. It's actually six. It's okay. It's okay. We'll argue about it tomorrow. Oh, no. On Saturday? This is done. Austin Rob? I don't want to play. Put him away, Rob. Rob, who plays Susan on Desperate Housewives? Oh, my God. Wow. Wow. Really listen to the question. I'm really listening. Can you spell it for me, Mike? Really listen to the question and go with your gut. Who plays Susan on Desperate Housewives? I know one name on that show. And I'm being honest, never seen it, don't know nothing besides Eva Longoria's on it, so I have to go with that. That is incorrect, Rob. That's the only thing I know. The answer is Terry Hatcher. Oh, Shivo. She's on that show? Yeah, Ashley just IM me Terry Shivo, which I think is so inappropriate. It is so inappropriate. Mike, that question was unfair, though. That was a hard one. It was. Let's go to Sean. I'm sorry. The answer was Terry Hatcher.
Sean? Wait. No. No. Who am I going to? Rob just went. Oh, Rob just went. Sorry about that. Then we go to Chantel. Yes. Yeah. Chantel? Yes. In golf, what does the term bogey mean? Oh, man. Oh, my God. Give me a second. All right. Chantel's thinking. She's looking at the console. She's working it out. She's got it in there. I feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't though. You're breaking my concentration. It's an accumulation of dirt in your nose. I have two different things in my head right now and I don't know which way to go. What do I do? That's a bogey. This is a bogey. It's what you do on the dance floor, Mike. Isn't he a monster? Stop it. Stop it. Oh, my gosh. I feel like I know this. In golf, what does the term bogey mean? I feel like it's when you're horrible. But I'm going to say, no, that would be a... Is that when you're really... Chantel, listen. Chantel. Hold on. Chantel, you've seen that everybody here is very supportive if you get this wrong. So don't worry. I know.
The ladies won't be irritated at you. I know. They'll still love me. Of course. Oh, yeah. Just don't get it wrong. Outwardly, they'll be cool to you. Three seconds. Wait, no. One, two. Okay, no, okay. When you are dull. Well, kind of. A bogey is when you're one over par. One over par. Does that so conclude this game? Or do we have one more question for somebody? You can just ask Sean his last question. Sean. Just to rub it in. Oh, yeah, I guess you're right. Darn. Sean. Yes, Mike. Your question is complete the name of this perfume. Oh, no. Chanel. Oh. Number. Come on. Give me a break. Here we go. Complaining about the questions again. I can give him a different one.
It doesn't matter. We'll get them all right. I'm going to give them a different one. It doesn't matter anyway, Mike. They've already won. We're mathematically the chance already. Let me give them a different one, then. No. Well, I'll answer that one, Chanel No. 5. That is correct, Sean. I'll put it on the board. That is correct. It's on the board, and we're appreciating it being there. Who's the big winner? Whatever. Who's the big winner? Whatever. The guys are the big winner, Eddie. Oh, thank you. Thank you. You seem awesome. It's just for the day of this week. Come on, it's Friday. Next Friday, we'll be in the lead. We'll take it. It's going to be short-lived. Enjoy it now. It means that the girls are going to have some making up to do next week. We'll be fine. Awesome. Chantel, thank you for coming in. Thanks for having me. You're the best, Chantel. And again, thank you very much to The Quarter Kitchen. They're located at the Ivy Hotel in the Gaslamp. Celebrity chef Damon Gordon is the executive chef at The Quarter Kitchen.

And my favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day, is right around the corner. Did you know Smittix is Ireland's favorite ale? And to help spread the word in San Diego this St. Patrick's Day, they sent over one of their favorite sons, Barry. Now... Here in the States, we might pronounce it Smith Wicks. Yes. And the authentic way to pronounce it is... It's like Smith X, so no W. So you're dropping the W. I can understand that. From Boston, we drop our R's. Now, can you tell me a couple things about Smith X? Well, it's Ireland's favorite ale. It was first brewed in 1710. It's from Kilkenny, which is a small city in the middle of Ireland. So this is the real deal. This is an authentic Irish ale, and it's pretty much what everyone in Ireland... is going to be toasting this St. Patrick's Day, correct? That's correct. On St. Patrick's Day, people will just be going into bars and saying, hey, can I have a pint of Smittix, please? So why don't you celebrate like they do in Ireland and raise a pint of something authentic, Smittix. It's Ireland's favorite ale. Please drink responsibly. Covered in tattoos. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Welcome back to the show. It is 8 o'clock. Nicole Kidman. Does that sound weird? What? Sorry, my bad. Go ahead. Nicole Kidman very upset after an article accusing her of drinking while pregnant at the Oscars. The Chargers cut three veterans yesterday, including Lorenzo Neal, Marlon McCree, and Shane Olivier. Performing at 4th and B on March the 7th, Bob Saget is in the studio. Thank you. He's got a website, bobsaget.com. Very cool to have you in here, man. Very nice to be here. Thank you. Have you played 4th and B before? No. It's a cool place, man. That's what I've heard. It is. It's a pretty cool place to be. So many things to talk to you about. There's about a billion things to talk to you about. Bob, as you know, was Danny Tanner on Full House. Every time I hear it, I crack up. I still can't believe I did it. I grew up with you. Well, here's the thing about it, is that since then, we've seen him on Entourage. You've seen him on the movie The Aristocrats, which is crazy. The Aristocrats. Sorry about that.
Now, is this a distance thing? Have you distanced yourself from that character of Danny Tanner? I actually don't remember some of the times I did the show. I was, like, in a dinosaur outfit once. My 15-year-old daughter said, Dad, you were in a dinosaur outfit tonight. I was like, you know, Dad was on NyQuil. He doesn't remember. Actually, I didn't do it purposely, but throughout all my acting stuff and America's Funniest Home Videos, I would... go and unleash my stand-up. So that was kind of my crazy whirling dervish side of myself. So yeah, I always tried to just follow my own comedy voice. And then once those shows ended, I didn't want to go back and... be a guy in a cardigan sweater, dust-busting, living with two men in San Francisco. Right. But I did do a play on Broadway this year, last year. It closed at the end of December called The Drowsy Chaperone, which is touring the country. And I was in a cardigan sweater again and pretty much looked... And it was the same producer's full house. So they completely turned me fruity pebbles again. Nice. So I would go... I would guess a character that is like Danny Tanner...
Unfortunately, I broke a glass in my house last week and I found myself dust busting at the end of the exercise. And I went, oh no, I'm turning into him. But then other times I'm in a robe, I haven't shaved and I'm smoking a cigar. So I look more like I'm on entourage. And my girlfriend and my daughters are different ages. I just want to say that right now. Oh, that's good. Much older. Well, not much, but she definitely is older than my daughter. How many kids? I got three. I have 21 years, 21, 15. And 18. 21-15. And I did it like my locker combination. I should have done it in chronological order. All girls? All girls. How crazy was that in the house? It was a full house. It was a full house. I named them. Uncle Jesse helped me raise them. And their names were DJ Steph and Michelle, which is coincidence. How can that happen? How strange. But they have a great mom, which on Full House, we don't know what happened. She wasn't there. It was like a Disney movie on Full House. You know, the mom and the dads raise it, and that's how you party in the house.
With Joey laying on your couch. Right. And doing full Winkle impressions. No. Bob Saget is in the studio. When you were doing the videos, the America's Funnest Home videos, Did you personally get to see a whole bunch of these before they made the air? Or did you just get to see what they picked? There were some screeners there, which they would have like nine people in a room. And I always say that the vents were duct taped and they made them watch them all day long. Looking for groin hits, you know. And then they would send me some that were... The funniest thing is people getting hit in the groin. It's hysterical. If it's real, because sometimes it looked fake, you know. But when it was real... That's just real. And who doesn't want to see that? Because you know you can recover from it. Like if you're looking and a guy falls in a manhole and he doesn't come back out, you might laugh for a quarter of a second, but then you want to call 911 before he gets hurt. But if the video, you see him fall in and then he climbs out, that's kind of funny. But nothing's funnier if he gets hit in the groin and then falls in a manhole. That is awesome. But yes, I did see a ton of...
of videos, and I have some of them, and I've talked about them in my stand-up on my HBO special. I specifically talked about a couple that I probably shouldn't talk about here, but there was a monkey that scratched himself and then passed out. Yes! It's a famous video. Have you seen that, Sky? It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Monkey scratches his butt and then smells his finger and passes out. From the smell of his own funk. Yeah. Who has it? And you fall out of the bunk and you land on the guy below you. It's very painful. Okay, percentage-wise, what percentage of videos do you guys think that you got that people staged if you had to take a guess? I started to think it grew. At the beginning, it was all fresh tape because they solicited it in People magazine and stuff. But at the end, I guess like 30% or so. Really? Yeah. And I would telestrate them. There were a couple episodes which runs in reruns on late at night for other planets. But I would telestrate, oh, here comes the fake groin. hit, here comes the, oh look, that dog's being pulled by fishing line. Please do not tie your animal up with twine to make a video. So I got upset if anybody got hurt. I'll tell you what, man. I don't know why it is so funny to us watching people do stupid stuff, but people falling out of campers is just funny. It's a testament that it's still on the air. And it always will be. It's the basis of YouTube. Think about it. It's those...
Those little videos, like a certain video you kind of think about. I used to do the voiceovers, which doesn't exist anymore. Tom Bergeron's a really nice guy. He does that show. But there was one video, and people come up to me sometimes. It was a dog pushing a rock. And all I did was my take wanting to be Mel Blanc from the Warner Brothers cartoons. And I would just go, pushing a rock, pushing a rock. Turn it around, push it around, push it around, push it around, turn it around, turn it around. And that's all I did. It's a reiterative annoyance. And people love it. They loved it. Because it's kind of doing a bad version of what you think a dog would think. Bob's going to be at 4th and B March the 7th. And you can check out his website, too. It's bobsagit.com. So are you sick of that? I mean, the Danny Tanner character. Why do you hate Danny Tanner? Well, I don't hate him. I actually embrace him. I have come to love him. Because you know what? He started the Hug Fest. I don't know. That's what Nickelodeon called it. But I actually sing a song in my act to the Backstreet Boys tune, I Want It That Way. I sing Danny Tanner Was Not Gay. And it's been, you know, it was on my special and people request it. They sing it with me. And so I love the fact that I have this odd career now that's kind of...
Just starting. I mean, people say, wow, it's an interesting comeback. And I'm like, they don't even say it anymore because it's not really a comeback. It's like a completely, I'm just trying to follow my own comedy voice. You reinvented yourself. Kind of. You're probably wondering where is that voice coming from. I thought it was a gremlin just now. It's the lovely blonde behind you in the studio behind you. She's got a question. Where has she been all my life? It's really a pleasure to meet you. I grew up with you. Nice to meet you too. You've been looking at the back of my head the whole time. What's the question, Ash? I got a question because I got to say I literally grew up watching your show. I don't think I ever missed an episode. And Danny Tanner, I mean, world's greatest dad, he really gave a lot of awesome life lessons and advice to the kids. Did any of that apply, did you apply any of that advice to your real life? Like, honestly. These are good questions. Because you gave really good advice on that show. Honestly, yes. At the time Full House started, if you're a parent, you know, there's only so many stories you can go through. And you have to walk into your kid's room.
And go and sit on the bed, which is very full housey. But you don't have like the fake synthesizer organ music. With the morality play. Exactly. And you go, honey, you know what? You shouldn't have had, where are the beers from my fridge? Right. Where did they go? I didn't do it. Okay, Justin was over. Justin what? Just in time he left the house before I got home? Right, exactly. Huge trouble. I found rolling papers in my house, and I went to all three of my daughters to find out, and it wasn't any of theirs, and I found out who it was. Uncle Jesse? It's a good kid. Uncle Jesse was over. Uncle Jesse came over. It was the mullet. He's been growing it in my yard. I knew it. Yes, you can't help but parent in that way. My daughter was one year old, my first kid, when Full House started, so I kind of learned. from doing Full House. That's what I'm seeing. Had a parent a little bit. That's crazy. We're very close, the whole cast. Candice Cameron Bure has three kids. She was DJ. Jodie Sweetin is actually going to come see my show the night before I come here to 4th and B. How old were the Olsen girls when you first started doing the show? Nine months.
Wow. Nine months. They're literally like daughters to me. Now, wait a minute. So do you remember a casting situation where they were bringing in little kids and you guys were kind of trying to decide? That is what they did, but I wasn't there. They shot the pilot with another actor. And I was doing a show on CBS in New York. Any name we'd know. Harrison Ford. I don't know if you know the name. Humphrey Bogart. It was weird. It was Denzel Washington. It was weird. A whole other show. It was actually turned into Step by Step. Exactly. And the Hogans. But I... Feel bad about it, you know, because they did it a lot. They replaced actors on Perfect Strangers and Mork and Mindy. Those were different people, but this was another actor, a very nice guy. They have it on some DVD of Full House, which they shouldn't do. But I always felt bad. I don't like taking the work from anyone, but I had nothing to do with it. They made a call. I got fired from a job on CBS.
for being too hot for morning television. Well, that's a compliment. That's what they say about me with morning radio. I'm too hot for morning radio. Have they said that? I haven't heard that. They've never said that, but I wish they would. It'd be really awesome if they said that. Well, I had a thing I said one morning on the air on CBS, and they didn't bleep it or anything because it wasn't dirty, but it was Marriott Hartley, an actress, was hosting it, and Rollins Smith, a newsman from New York, was hosting, and she said to me, are you a type A personality? And I said, yes, but I'm trying to work on my A-ness. A-N-E-S-S. And she said, go to your room. Wow. And I went up the stairs and there was no room up there. It was just a set with a drop off. And I stood there for half an hour. They wouldn't let me come down. So I was punished on network. Because of A-N-S. A-N-S. Wow. A-N-S. Wow. A different time. A different time. And look at now. Yeah, it's a little different. It's unbelievable. So talk to me about this process. So the Olsen twins, when you go on, they're already cast. They're nine months old. Right. And I'm... Now, at nine months, I know girls start talking sooner than guys. Were they talking? Did they have any little lines that they would say at that age? That's funny because I never get asked these questions. I'm going to live here. I guess about a year old, they started to verbalize a lot because they were around it. And then at about two years, about three years old, when they were three, they knew their lines better than I did because I'm a fool. But I couldn't remember the lines on Full House except some of them.
They were getting cued off screen. One-liners, right? Yeah, I don't know. Oh, nuts. No, I'm saying they're lines. Right, right, right. Sorry, my acting was amazing just now. But, oh, nuts. You got it, dude. You know, all this little cute little. Love the dude. Right. And a lot of kids at the time Full House came on, it was not successful. Yeah. It didn't do well. It took four years. It was on Tuesday nights. And after four years, they put it on Friday nights. TTIA. Exactly. But no one said TGIT, which would have been, thank God it's Tuesday. Which still doesn't sound right when I say it. Exactly. But they were, people called it the Michelle Show. You know, little kids. The show was made for 12-year-old girls, really. The last year that you guys did the show, how old were the girls? Nine. So everything that has happened between nine years old and today, you were not in their lives. I was in their lives. It's a really weird thing. We would see each other. My oldest daughter is one year younger than them. And we would talk to their parents, and they would have a babysitter person or a person that worked for their management company, because of their careers they were continuing to package.
and they were working and doing TV directed tape movies and stuff, we would go to dinner. We'd all go to dinner. 14 of us would go. I had this thing, and John and Dave felt the same way, which is this business is so full of child actors that once people are done work with them, they just go, okay, see you. And then I feel like it damages them, and it's really unfair. So I went, this is stupid. We're like cousins. We just spent... eight years together, we should see if we stay in each other's lives. And all of us have. I'm doing next Friday night, I'm going to play in Anaheim at the Grove, but fourth and B is next Saturday. Jody Sweeten's going to come to the show, who is Stephanie. And Andrea Barber, who is Kimmy Gibbler. She's going to come see me. We're all friends. I was thinking as you were talking about it, as I was going, you know, we see the headlines about the Olsen girls, but we don't know much about their personalities. What are the personalities like? They're great. I was in New York, as I was saying, for four months, and they came to my play.
Both of them came, Ashley and Mary Kate, and Stamos came a bunch because he's very theater queer for me. But the girls are, I just love them. So it's a weird thing. When you're with friends that you've known, you almost don't talk sometimes. You just kind of look at other people. And we just, I'm very comfortable with them. And I know them in a different way. So I kind of... I assume everybody's going to ask me something about them because they're so famous. They're like the most famous kids on the earth. My questions are more like psychology stuff and sort of like what do you think – what happened? What happened? Why do you think that it was being exposed to television so young and it's the typical child actor syndrome that got some of the girls in trouble later in life? Or was it just like any other girl that's 20-some years of age? I think B. Yeah? Fourth and be next Saturday. No. How did I... But I think you're right. I think it is... My oldest daughter is 21. Lives in New York. She's got a lot of friends. Her friends are pretty cool, you know? And so is she. And I'm not really that worried. But there's a lot of partying out there. And that's... I was in the clubs in L.A. last night because I had a double date. But it was so cute. Really? With my girlfriend, though.
It was good. It wasn't like new information. It's good to keep your own strange one. Anyway, we don't order in. No, no. I bring sand to the beach. That's what I'm saying. There you go. And I bring a starfish and a crab. What? I'm sorry. That's as far as I go. But it's, you know, the people in their early 20s are partying. And I get father-like about it, but then I go off and I'll play casinos. I'm doing the hard rock. That's party people you know in vegas i mean and that when you do that you party with them i don't i don't party but i'll go out with my friends and like 30 people of my buddies and and lady friends not lady friends that sounds ridiculous would you be partying in vegas and you would look over and hey there's mary kate and we're throwing dice kind of thing oh no no no no we're in new york we hang out we go to restaurants you know and that brings up other can you talk to them about that kind of stuff can you say hey what's going on well i Just tell them I love them and ask if they're okay. We all have our devils, you know. I've got mine, you know. Mm-hmm.
Probably won't go into it on the air right now. There's a bottle of 409 right there. I'll spray it right in my own face. Let me tell you, man. Awesome. That'd be so cool. We go into that stuff more often than you think on this show. Really? Oh, yeah. I'm real open about my stuff and that I'm in recovery and a recovering alcoholic, and so I'm real open about it. But this thing that just recently happened, and I'll give you, for instance, about how we react to it as people that grew up watching the show, I think people still have a... stigma in their head that these are little girls. That's true. So when the thing happened with Heath Ledger and her name was attached to it, one of the Olsen girls, was it Mary-Kate or Ashley? Mary-Kate. When Mary-Kate's name was attached to it, you go, she's so young. What, were they dating? How could they be dating? How could she be wrapped up in that? She's a kid, you know? It's very sad. But when you forget, she's an adult, you know? I mean, she is. She's an adult. And she's got friends, you know? And a lot of people that do acting for a living. And, you know, she's been acting a lot. She did a movie with Ben Kingsley and she's on Weeds. Oh, I love Draw Weeds. Yeah. Yeah, she's great. She's a lovely, lovely girl. I don't like when things happen to my friends that are sad. Yeah. Obviously. Who do you think is the best to change topics? Who do you think is the best stand-up of all time? It's funny. I just did an interview with a wonderful gentleman from your San Diego paper here. And I would say Richard Pryor.
And I got to work with him. I did a movie called Critical Condition. And it was one of the best experiences of my life. And I had done stand-up at the Comedy Store in L.A. And I've been eight years. I was one of the house emcees there when I started, when I was 21 years old. And I got to hang out with a lot of the greats. I became friends with Roddy Dangerfield and became friends with Richard. And Richard, I think Richard Pryor, probably because he was trying to, what you're talking about here, he would get into stuff as honestly as he possibly could. Mm-hmm. And then, I don't know if you saw Barbara Walters' special where she proved that he had lied. What did she do? She showed three different interviews over the past ten years where he denied things and then came out afterward and said, I'm sorry, I had lied. And she showed it to him. And he went, yeah, that's true. Because he had all of his devils and all of his issues. And I think all people do. All people. But stand-ups also. And a lot of performers. A lot of people that do what you do. A lot of people. When you have devils and you... have a lot of output. Your devils kind of exponentially grow, I think, and you feed them with adrenaline. It's part of the reason that we have so much going on in our head. We got a lot going on in our head, and a lot of people don't have to quiet that, sort of, because they just don't have all that stuff screaming in their head, but I'm constantly thinking. Me too. My mind is constantly going. Rodney Dangerfield used to say to me, and I hope no one takes it the wrong way, he goes, you got a Jew head, man. It doesn't stop.
You can't stop it, man. You try to sleep, you can. Am I right? And then I would get a message from Rodney. He'd be like, it's Rodney. I'll be up till 3 a.m. Call me. 3 a.m. More than anybody, right? Comics. I mean, comics have so many demons. They're so funny, but they've got so many things going on. I was acting for four months. Did this play. Didn't do stand-up. Came back in January to L.A. I've been working out. I've been doing the... some of the clubs, you know, Laugh Factory up there and start at the store and improv and I'm doing my stuff and working it out and it's like a hard drive that just doesn't stop spinning. So now once I start it, I'm writing stuff down. It's not just bar napkins where your comics write things down or people get inspiration for a writing of something, whether it be a book or a song. I'm just, I'm on. I'm just on too much and I can't, I'm in that mode because I'm doing like a three-month tour. I'm doing theaters. I'm going out and I can't do anything but mate with it you know and that audience in Seinfeld said it really well about comedy it's not a it's not a monologue it's a dialogue you are they are your partner you know and you are and you're having a thing with them you know it is truly a relationship so I love it so much and I get so much from it and I believe in the craft and art of stand-up so much whatever whether people like me or not that's a different matter but the ones that do I'm
digging the heck out of it. When you hung out with Richard Pryor, did you talk to him about the craft of comedy and kind of pick his brain about any of that stuff? I talked about a lot of stuff with him. He also talked to me about when I worked with him was after the fire that he had gone through. And he told me a lot of stuff and how he was positive he was going to die and told me a lot of hardcore stuff about his life. Can you give us an example of that? It's really hardcore, I'll tell you. It's not hardcore dirty. It's hardcore upsetting. We were in a hospital in High Point, North Carolina, shooting this movie. It was a hospital film. And we were standing next to a... I don't know if I should... I'll just share it. But he showed me a brush, and he said, you see this? The other side is the side that they use when you're a burn victim, how they remove the skin. Really? And it was really a weird thing to look at. And he said... And then he had a joke, which was very funny, which is how the fire started. And the first place was he was eating chocolate chip cookies and milk, and he put the chocolate chip cookie in the milk, and there was an electric reaction, and there was an explosion. Really? We heard it differently. No, and he told people what he did. He said he was freebasing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, his pipe blew up. But he was one of the most amazing people I'd ever met because he just was... We had one scene. I couldn't even do the scene with him. We had 40 takes.
I couldn't look. And it was a serious scene. It was a guy, a drowned victim. I was a young doctor. And a drowned victim gets wheeled by on a gurney. And I was supposed to say something like, just a piece of serious dialogue. Like, this was before Full House when I did this thing. And it's like, oh, the drink. The guy drowned in the drink and got bloated with water or something. I couldn't say it because Richard was right where you are. And I couldn't look at his face. And I did keep saying to myself, you're acting with Richard Pryor. Right. And he cracked up. Every time. That's great. And we got to hang out. One night we didn't invite him to dinner. It was great actors in this thing, too. It was Joe Mantegna and Rachel Tickerton and Randall Tex Cobb. And it was Wesley Snipes' first movie. And we would go to dinner. And one night we didn't invite Richard. We thought he wanted to be alone. And he was really upset the next day. Really? And I had to go deal with it because I felt terrible. You know what's interesting about that is that we forget that these names are so big to us. A name like Richard Pryor is so big. We forget it's a real person. It's a regular guy. You get to know him as a regular guy. So when somebody like Richard Pryor dies, it's for us, oh, Richard Pryor dies. For you, it's a friend. It's somebody that you knew. What was the experience like? How did you find out? Did somebody call you? How did that happen? Well, I knew how sick he was. And I saw him right before it happened.
Actually doing this show, Eddie Griffin did a Showtime pilot that didn't go about Richard's life. And my friend Jonathan Silverman was on it. They asked me to do a cameo, so I went on because Richard was going to be there. And so Richard was there with his wife, partner, Jennifer. And I went upstairs to go see him, and it was on Pat O'Brien's The Insider. They were filming him, and I didn't know there were cameras on. And I went up to go see Richard. We hugged, and he was in very bad shape. The MS had really, as you saw on what happened to him, it was just very tragic. And he was in there. Just one of those people you know he's in there. And I truly would say he was a friend. It wasn't an acquaintance. Besides being an idol, one of the most amazing performers anyone's ever seen, he was a very lovable person. and I went to go kiss him and talk to him, and I didn't want to do anything maudlin, and they were filming it. It was really awkward because I didn't want to be filmed, but I couldn't walk away. I was on camera. Oh, let me just walk away until the cameras are off. Oh, wait, they're on me. So I told him a story of what happened the night before, and this is how I would talk to him. This is how comedians talk. You don't have to man the button.
I had had a rough night with my daughter the night before, and it was a few years ago, so she was younger, and she came into my bed and said, I can't sleep, Daddy. I said, okay. And I had an upset stomach that night. I had a real problem. I needed Imodium. That's all I'm saying. So I told Richard that I'd had a serious, I thought I was going to have diarrhea in the bed. Right, right. And he started laughing. And he hadn't been that expressive throughout any of it, because I don't think he enjoyed the interview stuff that much. And he was... cracking up and i just kept going i just kept going about the whole you know spin art projectile of what the room could have turned into sure a rorschach test all over the walls basically and that my daughter was covered you know graphic description that no one needs to know and he was laughing and then they ran it on the show And it's like they played it in slow motion with beautiful strings behind it. And Bob Saget made Richard Pryor that. And if only they had known at home that I was talking about diarrhea. Hey, Ash, did you have a question before we take off? Will you have a question for Bob?
No, I'm good now. It's fine. We're good. Bob Saget. That was her question. Yeah, that was her question. It wouldn't make sense. Bob Saget's going to be performing at 4th and B on March the 7th. I had insurance back home from...
My home state of Nebraska and actually called in hoping they could beat it. And that's kind of crazy because they beat it by $300 every six months. Whoa. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Because, I mean, as you know, it's probably cheaper back there, the insurance back there, than here. Absolutely. Yeah, and it saved me $300. And, yeah, I'm pretty stoked. And I wanted to personally thank you. Dude, I think that's awesome. Did you go down and fill out your paperwork and all that yet? I did. I went out to the Escondido location. Very nice. They hooked it up, didn't they? They told me to tell you what's up and all that good stuff. Was it easy? It was way easier. It took me like two minutes on the phone driving down the freeway. You said $300 every six months, so $600 a year. Yeah, when it probably would have cost me, you know, it went up to like $800 after I got an accident from Nebraska, and then it went down to like $400 here. Dude, that's awesome. So it's pretty crazy, so I appreciate it. Thank you very much, and yeah. Congrats, bro. All right, thank you, dude. We'll see you. There's Steve. Steve or Steven, I don't remember. You said Steven? This is her talking about being overweight. Cut 24. And you've had weight problems, right? Yeah. How do you deal with that? I guess like everybody else. How do you lose it? It becomes a way of life, or it should be. It's what you put in your body and how you exercise and those kind of things. Is it difficult for you? No, once again, discipline. Come on. But no, honestly, that's another meaning for myself. It takes a great deal of discipline. And I have that within me in several different layers of my life. Miss Penny from Good Times. Yeah. Here she is talking about some of her favorite foods. Cut 25. What's your favorite? I like french fries. And I like sweets. And I like chocolates. I like caramel.
I like candy apples. Cool, candy apples. Yeah. You mean all times of the year? Yeah, no, it doesn't have to be just the holidays. What is this, phone sex? Seriously. Talk about those candy apples. Candy apples. And I didn't know candy apples were seasonal. Like, you're only allowed to eat them in the summer or something? Like, what's going on, Larry? What are the rules? No, you only eat them during Halloween, Skye. Oh, my bad. Why did you whip your boob out? Larry, inappropriate. Why did you do that? This is her talking about, actually, yeah, she never does go into that. Hey, you want to know her opinion on Amy Winehouse? Oh, wow. Cut 27. There's some concerning Amy Winehouse, a very public substance abuse problem, recently earned five Grammys, and some said that the music industry was rewarding bad behavior. Yeah, I heard that. What did you think of that? You know, someone was just saying to me, not that long ago, actually, that... Just a week before, there was a paparazzi shot with a crack pipe or something in her room or something like that. It came from Natalie Cole. And I think if anybody can say it, she can because she lived that life. And it's not a secret that she was addicted to. I believe it was. I thought that's a reason she shouldn't say it. And it's hard for me because I am so against drugs and that whole thing. But at the same time, that's kind of...
What this feel is about is like drug, sex, and rock and roll. I just don't understand. She says it came from Natalie Cole. If anybody can say it, she can. But Natalie Cole comes from addiction. But Natalie Cole wasn't, oh, like, just to kind of interpret, wasn't awarded during her addiction. You know what I mean? Because that wouldn't be right. That's what she meant? And so Natalie Cole can speak on it because she's been on both sides. She's been a successful sober woman, but she's also struggled with addiction. John, pause. What this feel is about is like drug, sex, and rock and roll. Do you like her as a performer? I think she has a wonderful album. And she's singing from her heart. I mean, the rehab song. It's a catch-22 for myself because I think it's a wonderful album. But it's unfortunate that she has this addiction. And hopefully, you know, things will work out for the better. Would you guys like to hear about her nickname, Donk? Sure. Yeah, her nickname, Donk. Obviously. Cut 30. Do you really want to know? Yeah, baby. From a donkey. Well, see...
No, let's say we're dominant. Yeah, a little body shaped like a donkey. A little body shaped like a donkey? Yeah, I got teased a lot as a kid. I got called a lot of names. Including Dunk? Dunk, pig, cow, slaughter, hog, horse. Whoa! Oh, that had to be a lot of laughs. That was very good. Whoa! Sounds hysterical. Wow. Oh, you are the worst. Janet, that's brutal. That's crazy. The Eddie line is ringing. Oh, it is? Oh, no. I better answer it. Hello? Hello? Oh, Michael. Is this Michael Jackson? Yeah, this is Michael Jackson. What's up? That's a big mic. Not too much. How are you guys? We're doing pretty good. Just listening to your sister on Larry King. Yeah, are you guys as upset as I am? Everything she said was a lie. Really? I didn't know that. Well, she lied about her favorite foods. What are her favorite foods? Favorite foods are bacon grease, anything with land or lakes on the box, and old tubes of mascara. Oh, that's not... I doubt that. That is her favorite food. See, I think you're lying. You guys know she's overweight, right? Well, I think she's had a weight problem, but she works on it. She weighs 600 pounds. No, she doesn't. Michael, I have eyes.
I gave her the snickerdoodle diet, but I don't think it's working. That's probably not a good diet to have. It isn't. No. Did you guys know that one of the things that she likes to eat? I know that you had Bob Saget in earlier, and I thought that was interesting because Janet likes to eat former child stars. That is not true. You're spreading rumors. Just last week, she ate Mark Paul Gosler. Wait, is that... That's the guy that played Zach on Save But Death. We know. Yeah. Okay. I think we've got about enough. Now she won't feed for a month. What? She's not a snake. Janet Jackson, you're talking about your sister. What? You're talking about your sister, bro. You're on something. You know, the other thing that I thought was really interesting about the interview is she was talking about that nip... Nickname, Donk. Yeah. There's a nickname. Yeah. Not nip name. Thank you. Thank you, Eddie. I have a nickname, too. What's your nickname? My nickname was Two-Face. And it actually... No. Wait. It used to be Two-Face. Now it's 57-Face. 57. So you think that's funny, huh? You think that's funny, Mike? Did you come up with that or what? No, it's not funny. Are you upset? I can't figure it out. I'm saying...
I'm sorry. Somebody's tickling my bottom. Is that appropriate? That's not appropriate. Shut up. You shut up. Michael Jackson. Hey, did you guys know that Janet was offered the role of Terby the love bug before Lindsay? Wait. Terby? First of all, Terby. Whatever. And why are you laughing? But she was starting a mail order bride business from home at the time. And so she couldn't do it. And by home, I mean prison. She was never in prison. You're not making any sense. She was talking about Amy Winehouse, right? Yeah. This is Michael Jackson. We know. She was talking about Amy Winehouse, and I'm going to give you guys an exclusive. What is it? She actually... Is Amy Winehouse. No, that's not true. Okay, Michael. Rip her face off and you'll see. Okay, this isn't Scooby-Doo, bro. Seriously, Eddie, it is Scooby-Doo. No, it's not. It's not. The little sky is very Velma. Did you know she is so Velma? Fine. So Velma. Sorry. Did you know that she came up with her last name Amy Winehouse in honor of me?
No, I didn't know that. Yeah, because when anyone underage used to come over, I wasn't allowed to have any wine in the house. Well, that makes sense. I've heard about Jesus juice. Yeah, that does make sense. Donk actually stands for Don King. What do you mean? Janet looks like him. No, it's me. That's me. She's a beautiful woman. Stop this. One time, our dad, Joe. Yeah. One time, our dad, Joe. He whipped Janet because she bought Don King at a garage sale and brought him home. What the hell? Okay. And Tito had to return him to Mr. Price, but Mr. Price wouldn't even give her dollar bill back that she paid. What are you talking about? I don't know. He's going off on a tangent. Our nickname was, our neighbor was Vincent Price. Vincent Price? What else happened, right, Don? That's how you got him in the Thriller song. Anyway, back to Amy Winehouse. Okay, good. Yeah, let's get back to her. She is so funny. Amy Winehouse is? I don't know about that. Just the other day, she... Hey, what is she? More tickling? More tickling? What's going on? Get Macaulay Culkin out of there. Just the other day, Amy was at the ranch, and...
She tried to smoke my Barbie dream house. That is strange. Really? You have a Barbie dream house. Yeah, I was cracking up, man. No, that's not funny. She's funny. No, she's got a problem, Michael. Janet is so stupid. Whoa, why are you lashing out at her? Well, I could lash out at you. Don't do that. You don't want to mess with Ashley. Who is that? That's Ashley. Yeah. She's my favorite person. I listen to her in the podcast. Oh, yeah? She's a tough cookie. She is a tough cookie. Yeah. Hey, speaking of cookies, can we talk about my second favorite food? What is it? Your second favorite food? Yeah. Oh, okay. What is it? These are my things that I love to eat. Yes. I love carburetors and blackjack dealers. No, you're just saying. Have you ever had a blackjack dealer French toast style, Eddie? No. I don't eat people. This is a family show. Michael Jackson, what are you... Anyway. Are you done? I guess so. Okay, well, peace out. All right, later. Michael Jackson, everybody. That was Michael Jackson. Sorry, guys. Stop Michael Jackson calling in every once in a while. He does. I kind of liked it. I don't know why you're giving that number. This is Janet talking about Lindsay Lohan. Cut 26.
We've seen a lot of young stars crash and burn. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears. Juan, how did you avoid that? I have to give the credit to my parents, really. They really made sure that we were grounded. For like eight weeks in a row. I always tell the story that regardless of how many fans were screaming for you and to how many audiences you played, thousands and thousands and thousands of people... We'd come home at the end of the day and we had tons of chores to do. Tons of chores to do. My parents, well, they still do have like three acres and they used to make us rake every leaf in the yard. We'd get up at like 7 a.m. No matter what you'd done the night before. No matter what you did the night before. We used to get up early seven days a week. Seven days a week. Very early. Party living there. Yeah, sounds like a blast. This is her talking about... Did you guys know that she went to Studio 54 when she was 10? No way. I've heard this, too. Like, I've heard about, like, there was kid stars at, like, Tatum O'Neal. Yeah. She was, like, you know, 11 years old hanging out there. Jodie Foster, same thing. Not to perform, just to hang out? Anyway, this is Janet talking about it. Cut 28. Did you ever fall prey to drugs at all? No, I was very fortunate. Very fortunate. In your industry, all the things surround you?
I remember being in Studio 54 when I was, what, 10 years old? Which I shouldn't have been at a club at that age. But I'm so happy I experienced it. And I would see all these goings on. And I would sit there and I'd go, why are these people putting flour up their noses? I just didn't understand it. It is kind of weird. Yeah, and then I'd get on the dance floor and dance. But it's in this industry. And I've seen it, but I've never. Thank God. Stupid. Michael, you're back. I didn't even answer the phone. How are you back on the phone? Didn't I hang this up? I never hung up. Oh, you trickster. I wanted to listen to the rest of the interview. Why are you mad? Because Janet's so stupid. What do you mean? That's not nice. She knows that that wasn't flowers that they were sticking up into. I'm so naive. Well, she was 10 at the time. Yeah, she was 10. I mean, I think we all know. It wasn't flowers, guy. We know. It was powdered sugar. Oh, no. That's okay. Stop. We heard you. We got it, dude. Okay. You are so weird. Time for a nap. Okay. Enough is enough, man. You've given us what we want, I guess. You just want to get one of those out there. When we come back.
Drew Peterson. You guys know who this is, right? Oh, yeah. This guy is so bizarre. Drew Peterson's the one that they say they think everybody knows it. Well, my husband and I went back last May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector. So it was really cool. And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Curti Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on a Costco mattress. The Sleep Train was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something. So they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? It's awesome. I can't get out of bed in the morning. It's really comfortable. That is good stuff. Thank you. You got it. Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep.

And he's scared of them.
The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Back, it's 9-0-1. American Idol has gotten clearance to use the Beatles song catalog this season on the show. Well, I know, Sky, you'll be happy about this, but Flozell Adams will remain with the Dallas Cowboys signed a six-year, $42 million extension. I've been wondering about Flozell. She said to me in the hallway today, she's like... What's up with Flo the Moe? It's actually Flozel the Hotel. Thank you. Which he's known as. That's what I had to correct her. I had to say. It's not Flozel the Moe. She corrected you. It's Flozel the Hotel. And you don't even want to know how he got that name, Mike. I'm just saying. Well, he's a big man. He's as big as a house. As big as a hotel. That's true as well. What? Well, all right. Nothing. I don't know what she's saying. There's a lot going on with Flozel.
Excuse me, Flo. What's the soup to show? Eddie and these broads are out of their minds. Out of their minds. I'm not feeling good. I don't need it today. Are you sure? I don't need it or want it. I need to request it. I say no. Sounds like you've decided that it's a no. That's what I vote. P1 Gabby's in the studio hanging out with us because she won P1 Trivia. I did. Good morning. Nice to have you in here, Gabby. Thank you. Gabby said that she thought that we made it up about Ashley's pits. She thought that was a joke. Oh, no. And I said that. I go, that is not a joke. And not by any stretch of the imagination. First-hand account, it's real. It is the truth. Yeah. Love you, Ashley. Love you.
She had found this deodorant that was working for a while, but it stopped working. She got immune to it. Right. Have you asked your doctor about if there's another product similar to? Yeah. I asked him. Well, he said my next option should be trying like organic stuff. Maybe a armpit removal surgery where they just remove the armpit, you know, because I understand you only need one to survive. You only need one to survive. A lot of P1s have emailed me my suggestion. Botox and what have you. I heard Botox words. Moving the armpit sockets or whatever. Sockets. I don't know if I'm ready for that. Little pouch. I kind of like my sweat. It's endearing. I don't think so. Shawnee, you would love that, right? Imagine if that armpit were your little pouch and you were her little Joey. You could go in there like a little baby kangaroo and just... Hang out in there. Drew Peterson says he's prepared to be arrested. What does that mean? I don't know, but if I didn't kill my wife, I wouldn't be prepared for anything like that. Recently, what was it? Last week, they came out because they did another autopsy on his third wife who died mysteriously, but they ruled it an accidental death. He thinks that's a little suspicious guy.
That they're ruling that that's a homicide. Well, yeah, now. Drew thinks that's a little suspicious. Ruled it a homicide. Cut 34. That's you, Sean. I know. Considering that you were already under the magnifying glass, how did you greet that news? It was kind of shocking. I believe for the last four years that her death was accidental. And then all of a sudden, that was with a fresh autopsy. And now all of a sudden, there's an autopsy. Can you believe it rocks on this guy? whole body, let's say, and it's been ruled a homicide. I'm kind of suspicious of it. You don't think that the coroner's report is accurate? I'm not sure. I think it needs to be scrutinized. I don't think it's true. Dude, come talk to me. You should be looking for the real killer. That's right, man. Golf courses. Memorabilia shows. I'm on the verge of finding them. Hey, over the top. Yo, don't you think that that's messed up that that dude
is so in denial about it. Figure it out, man. Yeah, man. I mean, talk about the pot calling the kid a murder. You know what I mean? You can lead a horse to water and you can chop its head off. That's right, man. You haven't heard that one? Yeah, a rolling stone don't cut nothing off. That's right. Yeah, the early bird slices the head off his wife. That's the way it went. Find a penny, pick it up. All the day you'll chop off heads. Actually, I have heard that one. That one's familiar. I heard you picked up a penny. Get over here. Those who live in glass houses should not commit double murder. Thank you. Oh, that's a great glass. Or that old saying, I killed two white people. That's not many. Never heard that one. Double over the top. This isn't really a saying, but I like to do it every once in a while. Eeny, meeny, miny, chop. Choppy, choppy, choppy, choppy.
You just like that word. I love that word. You really do. It's on my license plate. It just says chop. You know, a bird in the hand is worth two dead honky heads. Okay. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. Double. I hear my name. May I help you? Slightly too much. I want to hear another Drew Peterson clip. Oh, that sounds good. That sounds guilty. Let's see. Cut. Get it? 35. You've been very public over the course of this and have gotten a lot of criticism for some of the things you've done. Appearing on this show was one. Doing a shoot for People magazine, another radio program I think we could describe as an ill-fated radio program where you participated in a stunt called Win a Date with Drew Peterson. What do you regret over the last four months, Drew? Not finishing the job. Anything other than that? Nothing other than that. You know what I regret? Double bogey about four days ago. That was a bad hole. That was just bad luck, man.
Should have used the nine iron. That's right. You regret anything? Instead, I used a cleaver. That's right, man. Slice. My favorite chunk. That's right. Every single time I go golfing with my buddies, they're like, juice, every one can't be a slice, man. I got it in my game. Yeah. Can't get rid of the slice. Hey, listen. When it's perfect, it's perfect. I tried the hook. Didn't work. Yeah. You go with what you know. Yeah, man. Slice. Look out. Blood. No, man. Over. Oops. Over. Hands. Double. Not a golf thing. So that's it on Drew Peterson. Gosh, he's inappropriate. I want to hear what Donny Osmond has to say about Barack Obama. I want to kill that guy, too. Yeah. Any chance I get... What color is he? White? Let me at him. But he's not blonde. Now, whatever, then. I don't care. Does he know anybody blonde? Doesn't matter anymore. Just give him to me. Oh, gosh. Chubby, chubby. This is Donny Osmond on the television program, The View. Oh, no. No.
Cut 37. I like Barack. I really like Barack. I think he could make a great president. Really? I think we're ready for a black president. Oh, then that's what we should vote for. Is it your official endorsement? Well, I'm not endorsing it. No, I don't like to get involved in politics, but I think we're ready. I love this whole thing about change. This country needs a change. Whether it's a black president, a woman president, we just need change. Or a Mormon. Or a Mormon. We just need to get on a different course. He's like, I was walking down the street the other day, and I saw written on the sidewalk. In blue chalk. Time to make a change. That was all I needed. Hey, listen. And I'm in. How crazy is it? What you just heard Donny Osmond say is what about a billion people in the country think. Right. Like, they got nothing to do. It's true. All they're hearing is that change, and the guy that's saying it's real slick, and that's cool. But I love how he goes, yeah, we need a change. Like, we need, you know, a black man or a woman.
No, we need to change our country the way things are running. We don't need to change the way the president looks on the outside. The color. That's not the change I'm talking about. The wiener. We're going to get rid of the wiener. I thought that when Barack Obama was talking about that, he meant race. We need to change the race in the White House. We need to get an Iranian dude in there. That's not the issue. That's the way I took it, Mike. Well, it's Sean. I was the one who pointed it out. That's right. I did. Shut up. When we come back, Barack Obama went on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Oh, boy. Yes. Did he dance? Come on. Yes, he did. Come on. So, when we come back, we're going to talk. He's going to be talking about the dancing on Ellen. Oh, hell. Oh, hell. And also, he's talking about what it would be like his first day as president. That's the chocolate I'm talking about. I'll say. Hey, check this out.

Rancho California Road, South 15, just past that exit here as you come out of Fallbrook, or actually Temecula, so watch for a bit of a slowdown around there. The car went off the side of the freeway, now on its roof, so mainly looking for slowing more than anything else. Farther South, Net 15, just a brief delay through the construction zone in Rancho Bernardo. The coaster ride, South Pine 5, cleaned up quite nicely, just a bit of a slowdown now around Manchester to Lomas Avenue Drive. Everything else is moving right along for a great-looking ride. More to wait until a tough hour and 45 minutes, though, at San Isidro in about an hour and a half of the time they saw.
I'm McLaurin. It's on Rock 105.3. Casting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. Give me another Sierra. See San Diego. Now another moment from the Mikey Show. Nicole Richie's boyfriend. Joel from Good Charlotte. Joel Madden. Paris Hilton's dating his brother. His twin brother. Twin brother's name is... Benji. Benji Madden. I don't know. Benji's a real lovable dog that used to be emotional. It's also Joel Mann's twin brother who, until just a couple weeks ago, was engaged to be married. There's Benji. Come here, Benji. Benji, don't drink that. That's gasoline. We just siphoned that out of someone's car. Don't drink that. I mean that. Don't drink that. We need to put that in Boston Rock's car. Don't drink it. Benji, don't light up that smoke now. Oh, no, Benji, don't light up that smoke. Benji, do not smoke that marble. Whatever you do.
Do not light that cigarette, Benji. The Mikey Show continues. This one's going out to all the fans that have been listening to us since we came out in 1982. It's my boy Richie over there on guitar. And I'm just real glad to be here. And I can sack tonight. I just want to remind everybody that ribs are half off. It was before 9 o'clock tonight. It's all the same. Names have changed. Come back. It's a Mikey show. It's 9-17. The British military announced that they're pulling Prince Harry out of Afghanistan after the media reported his location. Free agency opened yesterday at midnight, and the Browns quarterback Derek Anderson rejected their offer and now is a free agent. So I'm going to get to Barack Obama on the Ellen show in just a second, but first that Harry thing. So Prince Harry is in Afghanistan, and they're basically showing video of the guy.
fighting and stuff. Smart. Yeah, exactly. He's been there since December, but there was like a news blockout. Blackout. Well, a news blackout. Well said. Thank you. They were told, you know, hey, you know, we know he's there. Don't do what basically just happened, like Mikey said, with showing video and giving his location and what unit he's in and whatever. So now for the safety of everyone else, they have to pull him out. Yeah. Because if you're next to him, man, he's a bullet magnet. Oh, yeah. You're standing next to him. Cut 54. All my wishes have come true. I was always hoping to get forward. The commanding officer was very sort of cool about it and said, yeah, this is where I want you to go. Obviously, Mark, the OCE down here, was willing to take that responsibility, and I got here on Christmas Eve. So, obviously, I said, put me on the front lines, you know, that's what I want to be. Yeah. And he said, yeah, no problem. We're going to put you in a steel barricaded box. I said, no, I want you to put a target on my chest and send me out in the middle of a field that says, I'm Prince Harry. And help people shoot at me. So here is Barack Obama on Ellen's show talking about the poll numbers after he's danced. Cut 32. Any new dance moves since I've been with you last?
You know, I just want to say that we were kind of in a slump until I was dancing on the show. My poll numbers skyrocketed after that. Everybody saw me bust a move on Ellen. That's all it took. I'll say anything I need to. Yes. What would your first day as president be like? Barack cut 33. What is day one? Do you wake up at 8? Do you get breakfast? What's your day one? Well... First of all, I think I'll just go into the Oval Office and sit at the desk and say, wow, this is really cool. Actually, the first day after I'm sworn in, and I don't know whether that counts as day one or not, I think the day after inauguration, if I were lucky enough to serve, it would be to call in the Joint Chiefs of Staff to really start talking about how do we get our troops out of Iraq in an honorable, careful way.
responsible way, but I am a strong believer we need to bring this to you. Change! Change! And then, depending on what I was wearing, I would change. I constantly want to change. Everything would change. Sky, what movies can we expect to see on the silver screen this weekend? Silver! It's still silver, yeah. They still painted silver, yeah. So we have two new movies out today. First, we have Semi-Pro coming out today. It's a Will Ferrell movie. Love it. I love it. What is he? Basketball. Basketball player. It's basketball. Yeah, set in the 70s. Love it. Cut 44. There's going to be a lot of television cameras out there, so we just got to be tip-top. So what's the plan? We brought a secret weapon.
It's going to make us look extra cool on TV. What the hell is that? It's eyeliner, dummy. Who's first? Mox? Yeah. Let me get a fresh maxi pad out of my purse. Eddie, what do you think? It sounds funny. Yeah? This is Will talking about his look in the movie. Cut 46. I felt completely at home. In looking at a lot of the reference photos of the League and the period, it was... It obviously looks funny, but it's not that far from the truth. So I love the fact that it really is kind of historically accurate and humorous looking all at the same time. There you go. Sky, what else coming out? And then the other movie out today is The Other Boylan Girl. What is that? Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, their sisters. How do all the girls know what that is?
Oh, dear. Wow. Yeah. Let's hear a scene from the movie. Cut 50. Do you feel as awful as you look? Yes, I do. You know, in France, no woman would allow herself to get in such a state. Why did you come, Anna, if all your desire is to torment me? Perhaps now you know how it feels. How dare you? To be deceived by your sister. No, you didn't. Nothing. You stole the kingdom. And then you betrayed me over Henry Percy. Sorry. If that's what you think, fine. Tell yourself that. I did, sister. Every day, every night, I was in exile. Destroy me. Looks so good. That sounded so dumb. Oh, man. I can't wait. I was punching myself in the face to stay awake. American. Oh, my goodness. Not this movie. It's called acting, dude. Cut 51. No. So this is it. Yes, it is. The king of England sleeps. That's right. And reads and writes. And loves. He finds a few moments each day for himself. He becomes bored. And yet you invite me. As is gas. Did you fart? Because I like you. Yes, I did. But it's the bathtub, so you smell it a moment later. You hardly know me. I'm lied to a hundred times a day. We're still talking about the same thing. Yours is as the sun. One shouldn't gaze too long. Have you got any more Imodium?
When did you eat cauliflower? Someone's had asparagus. Not enough fiber, honey. Natalie Portman, let me hear you talk. Cut 48. I wasn't aware of this story before. That's exciting to be able to introduce this story. You precocious little child. It's exciting in England where I think people know a lot about it. I think it's pretty sort of culture knowledge. It's exciting, too, to, like, turn it on its head because the whole story of Mary is a very untold story. You know, it's ridiculous. You say Queen Amidala. So, Prince Charles meets her, Natalie Portman. And he went to the premiere of this movie. But he doesn't know. He doesn't know. He doesn't. Before you get angry at what he asks, Eddie, he doesn't know. Wait, this better not be about comics. This is on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
This is Natalie telling this story about Prince Charles. Cut 20. I know that you met Prince Charles. I met Prince Charles once at the royal premiere for the first Star Wars. Right. Which was, he asked me, because, you know, they have, like, one question. They're sort of prepared, so they ask, they know, like, one tidbit about every person. Right. He asked me, he said, oh, were you in the original films? And I was like, not so much. Yes, I'm 58 years old. Stupid question, Eddie. What are you thinking? Uh, yeah. I mean. Sorry, Eddie. Stupid question. Sorry, Eddie. Dump thing to ask, right? Eddie looks irritated. Wow. Oh. Disappointing, right? That's a shame. Not what you would expect from you. Much of idiots over there. That's right. Idiot. Scarlett Johansson on the film. Cut 49. Major part of why I joined the project was because Natalie was involved and she was...
Very deep voice. I was a huge fan of Natalie's for a long time. Whatever. I would not watch this movie, though. I'd rather watch 29 straight hours of Banachek. It was a great opportunity for both of us, I think. Is that it, Sky? Those are the only two movies coming out? Hey, what's that show? What's that Oprah show? Big... Oprah's big give. Big give. Oprah, what is it? Cup 42. It's about seeing other people give back to people who are less fortunate than themselves. And seeing people who start out with a very little amount and turn it into something that's a really big give. And so I think people, first of all, will be entertained. They will find it fun. But also inspirational in a way that makes you think, I wonder if I could have done that. I wonder what I could do. That's the best part. It's time for the big game! You know, the really tough part about it is it's so tough that you can't criticize because you're like, oh, she's doing nice stuff, but then there's a part of you that's like, oh. Give away some money! Let me hear her do it. Cut 41. What would you do if someone handed you a bundle of money? But there's a twist. You have to give all that money away. We challenge 10 people to go across the country and try to out-give each other. No!
They left their families behind and never once asked what was in it for them. Their mission? Make dreams come true and show the world what one person can do. One person can do with your money. Right. We can all do good things with your money. Anybody can do that. Well, yeah. It's so funny because the idea is, okay, well, I'm going to give you a whole bunch of money. Do something with it. Give it away. Okay. Sounds good to me. We're all great. Mikey Show. Hi, this is T1 Red. Hi, Red. How's it going? Good. Good. I'm just calling to let you guys know, on that Natalie Portman and Charlotte Johansson movie, it's actually called The Other Boleyn Girl, like Anne Boleyn, the historical figure, not Boleyn, like Ty said. I apologize. Wow, you are a true idiot, Sky. Again, again, I've been proving to be a moron.
Thank you very much for... And you're a scholar. She said thank you. She was just trying to help. She was just trying to help you out there. She did it in a nice way. She did it nice. A nice way would have been an email. Well, I guess that's true. You... Boylan. What do I want to do next? Something called Sean TV. When we come back... Yeah, we're going to do a little Sean TV. I can't wait to hear about my mother the car. The Mikey Show. Oh, yes! Hey, it's Mikey for Amco. I'm the type of person that likes to know exactly what I'm going to get before I get into it. They're not going to fix anything that isn't broken. And don't forget the fact that AMCO does transmissions, brakes, oil changes. Now, you may be saying to yourself, why AMCO? Why would I go to AMCO and not take it to the dealership? Well, first of all, the experience. The experience in the database, they hook up with all these other AMCOs with guys that know exactly what problems are going on. And when they experience something that they don't know about, which isn't often, they can go on there and figure it out. AMCO is the only place you want to go. It's AMCO. Double A. Beep, beep. MCO. Whatever Sean likes, well, you know that it might be. Not as gay as something would remind me. Team Awesome! Team Awesome! Love Boat, Banachek, Columbo! Shani, let me guess. I guess you guys are wondering why I was putting those fake tears in my eyes. I was wondering why Sky has to mention it.
Well, I have to now, you know, because Sky is awesome. Why do you do that? Because it makes me happy. It makes me happy. It makes me laugh inside. I have dry eyes. I have dry eyes, so. Yeah? You have dry, itchy eyes. You have dry, itchy eyes, so I put the drops in there. And it feels good? Well, it soothes them, you know. It's a very soothing, very soothing feeling, the drops in the eyes. What kind of drops? Why does she have to mock you? What kind of drops are those? They're called refreshed tears. Ooh. They're lubricant eye drops. That's right. It's in green bottles. Pretty fancy. That's right. So, Shawnee, what do you got this week? Well, Mike, after the beating I took last time we did Shawnee TV. I don't remember. I don't either. Oh, I took a beating. Shawnee, you didn't take a beating. I absolutely did. I tried to share one of my favorite shows of all time. Columbo. Columbo. Matlock. I don't remember. Was it The Ghost of Mrs. Muir? I think that's right, Mike. It was The Ghost of Mrs. Muir. No, it was Courtship of Betty's Father. That's right. I think that's what it was. Well, the deal is that Sean watches everything on television, and that's why we do this segment, Sean TV. He comes on, and then he tells us what he's been watching lately. Oh, it's great. And he accompanies it with audio.
Of the TV show. And it dries Mike's eyes out. It's dry. I gotta put drops in them. For the segment. That is correct. That is how I began this particular segment. So Sean. That's what Sky says. According to Sky. No, I just screamed out eye drops. Randomly. I mean, I don't. Well, to the audience, it sounded that way. And a handkerchief. Yeah, well, because then he took out his, you know, custom hanky. Oh, he has a custom hanky? Yeah, and he had it in his eyes. What are you, a grandpa? 80? Well, no, my grandpa passed away. Oh, wow. And he's in, so. Ouch. My mom made some of them. Lesson learned. Guys, what do I do now? Now he doesn't need the fake teaser. Guess that's out there now, too, huh? Yeah. Oh, my God. Sorry, Mike. Bad person. Oh, my God. Sorry, Mike. That was a fun one. Sky, anything else before we move on? Or have you pretty much touched on all of it? Hey, I got no problem. Any other dead relatives you want to talk about? I didn't talk about them. I was just enjoying the eye drops and the hanky. Wow, I'm in stitches. It's Grandpa's hanky, you know, I guess. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, he did too. Oh, man. It's nice.
Until he passed on. Oh, no. Sorry. All right. Sorry. You all right? Yeah, I'm good. Okay. Sean, what did you watch this week? Well, Mike, I think I'll bring the room up a bit with, without a doubt, the funniest show on television. Whoa, statement. It's called Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job. That can't be true. Like, when he's doing that, what is on your screen? He's just doing, like, you know, what they call a stand-up, which is just from, like, the chest up, you know? It's just his head. He's talking. Oh, my goodness. John C. Reilly, he's brilliant. Genius. Sean, you are absolutely crazy. Sean likes watching his TV. How did you find it? I don't know. I think I was up. I think I was up. Sit on it. And it is located in San Diego, just so you're aware of it. It's true. Sit on it. Here in San Diego, we like to refer to ourselves as KIOZ, and then we say San Diego after it. And then what? Yeah.
We'll say KIOZ as in the call letters. I got that part. But I just want to let you know, we're licensed to the city of San Diego. Which is actually in the city, as in the county of San Diego. San Diego County is where we're located. So when we say KIOZ San Diego... What we're really saying is we're saying to ourselves when we say it, we're saying hit it. We say we go hit it. We say KIOZ San Diego hit it. My breath through that. This is the mayor of La Mesa, Mayor Madrid. This is what now. Hell no. The deal is, is that he was. This guy was drunk. He was out laying by his car. He went home crying to his mom. He's respectful to the public and to the media. He's a good kid. Here's what he has to say about the city council meeting where they were talking about his conduct. I don't want to embellish or exaggerate. Hundreds of calls, emails, and stuff like that saying exactly what you heard about this gentleman here. That it really is.
a witch hunt, that it really is unfair. And, you know, I admit I made a mistake. I apologized, not only to my family, but to the citizens of this city. And so what more can you do? Yeah, you know... I heard you. Was it yesterday that we got the call of the guy saying that he has a drinking problem and we're like, sir, we don't know that. And then he's like, hey, I've seen him at these bars all the time. And he referenced Norm's bar. Yeah. Norm. Norm. Norm. Norm. Norm's. Well, I guess at the meeting last night in La Mesa, it was brought up that the mayor, Mayor Madrid, was involved in an alleged hit-and-run accident back in August of 2004 when he was leaving Norm's Cocktails on El Cajon Boulevard. Holy cow. That his car allegedly clipped a parked motorcycle, and he took off and kept going. And then the guy, like, you know, filed a complaint saying, hey, this was the car, this was the guy who left and clipped my motorcycle.
And he would never admit to it but still ended up filing it with his insurance to get his insurance to fix the dude's bike. And he claims that alcohol didn't play a role that night because he only consumed half a beer. He went to a bar to consume only half a beer. Hey, when I got my DUI, I only drank half a beer too. But you weigh like Kendall, you know? That's true. Oh, wait, that was half a case. Oh, see, that is different. So, yeah, that was brought up at the meeting. Does Art Madrid have a friend named Meatball? Does he? Check it out. I haven't read it, but I don't. I'll research it. I'll hit the streets today, Eddie. Well, did they re-elect him since then, or what's the deal? Like, how long has he been mayor? I think I voted for him when I lived in La Mesa. Yeah, he's definitely been mayor. I can't remember. Let's get you elected, man. He was elected to the city council in 81 and then was elected mayor in 90. This is his fifth term and he plans to seek a sixth term in 2010.
campaign slogan was, I sit on you. This is what I do, I sit on you. Sit on you, sit on you. This is what I do, I sit on you. And it was really cool because not only is... Not only was that his slogan, but he was really into the Mikey show. That's one of those mashups, right? That's what they call those, a mashup? It's us. This is what I do, I sit on you. It's a Mikey remix right there. Not bad, right? Really good. I would try it again. Listen, a mashup is good. Don't mess with perfection. Try it again for fun. I don't like it. Yeah, I don't like it fixed. Fine. This one's not as interesting. I sit on you, sit on you, sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. Right on your lap. Thank you. Oh, that's it? Where else does he sit? Rob was doing a different version of it. Oh, I was? Yeah, your version was a little off, Rob. It's good, though, Rob. It was not the normal version, though, I must say. No, no. I could sing it. No, it's all right. Thank you. Thank you very much. This is what I do. I sit on you. No, hey, hey, hey, hey. Time out. Turn his mic off. That's probably a good idea.
Wait until you... How funny do you think a bit with Hillary Clinton involving Hillary Clinton would be that they played on The Late Show with David Letterman? Oh, I bet it's so... Oh, let's listen. Why are people laughing and clapping? I don't know, but I, you know, I can recognize that that used to be Dave's, well, that's always been Dave's sense of humor. Like, to Dave, that's really, like, the word snickerdoodle's so random. Yeah, it is. That that's really, you know. Give me heartburn. Mm-hmm. Here's a bad message. Cut 16. How about this? Ladies and gentlemen, right now, it's a message from New York Senator Hillary Clinton. Hillary, take it away.
My fellow Americans, I pose this simple question to you. Are you better off now than you were when this disappointing show began? That is the first one. Cut 18. Right now it's time for another message from Senator Hillary Clinton. My fellow Americans, we must save Social Security because we have no more precious resource than our elderly people, like Dave. Give a half. That's pretty bad. Yeah, half out of three? Yeah. Let's see. Ashley Simpson's wearing a promise ring. Yepers. So, there could be an engagement announcement any day now. Uh-oh. Yeah, we'll see. Can't wait. Yepers. Kate Hudson is linked to three different celebrities. Dude, this is weird. I've been hearing this stuff reported for a while. So, of course, we know the Owen Wilson stuff. Yeah. Because they actually used to be a couple. But recently...
The tabloids have been reporting that they've been sneaking in and out of each other's houses and secret dates and whatever. Well, there was also this thing going around recently that Kate Hudson was pregnant. I don't know if anybody saw that. She's been wearing, like, oversized clothing and whatever and not commenting on it. Well, there was a lot of talk that the baby was Justin Timberlake's. Whoa, come on. What? And that Kate Hudson was one of the people he dated when him and Cameron Diaz broke up, which, you know, I do remember reading that, you know, they were seen together. But wouldn't that have been a long time ago? And that they've been secretly dating ever since because Kate Hudson doesn't want to be embarrassed the way Cameron Diaz was by kind of getting dumped by, you know, a young dude. So she's keeping it. On the DL. Now, it ain't easy being a hoe now. How old is Kate Hudson? Like, she's considered an older woman to Justin Timberlake? I mean, a couple years, not as old as Cameron Diaz, but, you know, a little bit older. Yeah. So that's the second one. And then finally, and this one is crazy, I just read this for the first time this morning, that Kate Hudson is trying to steal Tim Hasselbeck away from Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
That is the weirdest thing. If I had to make a list of 900,000 people, that would not be on the list. That's crazy! It's weird. You're a real hooker. Sky has a Forbes list of actors that passed on major roles. I love this stuff. I love it. I love to hear actors that said no thank you. Okay, so the movie Knocked Up. Originally offered to Boston Rob. No, instead of, what's her name, Heigl? Yeah. Katherine Heigl. Ashley. No. Ashley turned it down. Well, no. Then I went to Shauna. I would not have turned it down. Shauna turned it down. Right. Then I went to Laura Kane. Yeah. She actually took the job. Oh, wow. They fired her. Oh, that sucks. Then they hired Katherine Heigl. Oh. It's really interesting the way it turned out. Well, you forgot one. My guess would be Cameron Diaz. It was actually initially offered to Anne Hathaway. I do not agree with that. I guess Anne Hathaway said in an interview that she once turned down a movie because she wasn't going to show a vagina. Not her vagina, but somebody else's. Which, you know, ended up in that. If you've seen the movie, there's a prosthetic. That's not going to help anything.
There's a prosthetic, but they make it look like, because she's given birth, you know, and Anne Hathaway wasn't willing to do that. She wouldn't even do it if it was a prosthetic. No, because, you know. I'm going to punch you in the ovary. I haven't seen the movie. Because we really were believing that Katherine Heigl was giving birth on film. Well, isn't the, in the movie, doesn't it look very prosthetic? Not really. Isn't that why it's funny? It's really quick. It's super quick. Yeah, it's quick. Yeah. Is this supposed to look very real? It's supposed to look real. It is. Maybe they found an actress. Who knows? It was in the middle of giving birth. I send people pictures of my genitals to teach them lessons. Everybody doesn't do that. It's because you do that doesn't mean everybody does it. It hurts, but it feels so good. Oh, that's kind of harsh. Okay, let's talk Pretty Woman. Julia Roberts' role. Okay, I know who that was offered to. Mr. Ed. Yes, it was offered to Mr. Ed. So she has big teeth. It's a beautiful smile. The same actor that played CB. Hillary Swank. Yes, Hillary Swank. Baba Booey. Carol Channing. Baba Booey.
You give up? Man o' War. No. Okay, I give up. Molly Ringwald. Oh, wow. Yeah, but she turned the role down. Turns out she's not pretty. She wasn't right for the role? It was like, okay looking woman. Yeah. Moderately looking woman. Average woman. It didn't have that same feel. It didn't feel the same. It didn't test that well. Good from five, five from good woman. All right. 50-50 girl. Mediocre woman. I do it on a bet. Hold on. Easy guy. Beer makes her look pretty woman. How about that? Beer goggles woman. Okay, Brokeback Mountain. Brokeback Mountain Action. It's going to go to Richard Simmons. Initially, the leading role went to Richard Simmons and Liberace. Craig Louganis. Storch Takah. Orlando Bloom. Senator Craig. Melissa Etheridge. Ryan Seacrest.
The rocker chick from American Idol. Billie Jean King. Billie Crystal for no reason. Yeah, just for no reason. For funsies. Hillary Clinton. Who would they have offered them to? The Williams sisters. I say they offered it to the guys that played Brandon and Dylan on 90210. I'd pay to see that. Zeth and Rob. You are correct. Zeth and Rob. Who was it, Skye? Mark Wahlberg and Joaquin Phoenix, but they both turned down the roles saying that they were a little creeped out by the sex scenes. Of course. Mark Wahlberg and Joaquin Phoenix. Wow. Yeah, he's no queer. He's not like Ben Affleck. He'd probably do it. Okay, Raiders of the Lost Ark. Oh, I know this one. I actually know this one. I know this too. Did you say it? Tom Selleck. Okay, so we have some TV shows. I have two TV shows. What? Family Ties.
who was originally Michael J. Fox's character of Alex P. Keaton. Do we know who it is? Do we know the person's name? Yes. Michael Jackson. No. That'd be cool. Pete Wentz. Burt Reynolds. No, not enough at the time. Matthew Broderick. Oh. Kevin Bacon. Florence Henderson. Kurt Cameron. Bill Bixby. Howard Shore, the music composer. Wow. I don't know. Ray Romano. He would have been great in that role. He really would have. He's so right for it. Yeah. All right. Howard Newton, the music composer. All right, we get it. You know musical composers. You're a composer nerd, we know. Gary Schoenwetter. Yeah, was Gary Schoenwetter offered the role? No. Matthew McConaughey. All right, all right. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. No, but you guys are close. You got the first name right. Ben Affleck.
Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. Matt. I don't know. Broderick. Yes, Ashley. That's what Sean said. That sounded like 20 minutes ago. About 100 minutes ago. Come on. 20 to 100 minutes ago. Oh, I didn't hear that. Sean, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, too, dude. I don't know. I don't know. Sean, I'm sorry. You try to figure it out. Does she just tune us out now? No, just you. Oh, that's you. Did you hear that, Sean? Okay, we just have one more left. She's lucky I didn't play horse and buggy. Okay. Desperate Housewives. Terry Hatcher's part. Oh, for sure. Oh, my God. Call him. You're very close. You're very close.
A homeless guy under the bridge. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie O'Donnell. Malcolm Jamal Warner. Tempest Bledsoe. Drew Bledsoe. Gilbert Gottfried. Matthew Broderick. Lance Armstrong's other ball. Well, is that the answer? No. No, that's not the answer. It was perfect for the part. Too much cold medicine. Sarah Jessica Parker's chin. The drummer from Def Leppard's arm. Oh, that's over the line. Wow. Wow. Way to go. Way to go. Let me show you how it's done. Heather Mills leg. Thank you. That's a good one.
That is hysterical. Wow. That is a good one. Comedic genius. That would work. Do we give up? No. No. No, we don't. I'm getting mixed messages. What are we guessing for? Harry Hatcher's role on Desperate Housewives. Ryan Seacrest. Close. I don't know. The shark from Jaws. I don't know, Sky. What is it? Wait, wait. Mario Van Peebles. Oh, good guess. Mario Lopes. Susan Sarandon. Steven Seagal. I don't know, Sky. I give up. Calista Flockhart. Oh, Calista Flockhart. I told you you were close with Gollum. Wow. Good point. Wow. So there he is. There it is. I think that we've touched on everything we were supposed to. Touch it. We did new movies. Can we hear the sit on you song one more time? No, why not? Rob's first. Yeah. Just later. Do I sit on you? This is what I do. I sit on you. On your lap. This is what I do. I sit on you.
This is what I do. I sit on you. Hide on your head. This is what I do. Sit on you. Sit, sit, sit on you. Sit, sit, sit on you. It's a really good one. This I have to hear before we leave. I cannot go before I hear this story. I would like to know about the men liking women with small feet and the list of celebrity shoe sizes that you have. Okay. Whoa. So, it's new research shows that men like women with small feet. It's new? That means that here's who would not be liked. Okay, yeah. Uma Thurman would not be liked. Yeah, Paris Hilton, dude. She's got size like 10. Disgusting. Paris Hilton is on the list size 11. Oh! Wow.
I wonder what size 11 is for like a dude. Like that's got to be like a size 10 and a dude. Yeah, I think it's a 10. Is it really? I think there's a one. That's pretty gnarly. That is revolting. That's disgusting. Easy, Sean. Okay, so do you want to hear who has small feet, who has big feet, or all of it? I want to hear big feet and Roy. Okay, big feet and Roy. Let's start at a size 9. Keira Knightley, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, and Lindsay Lohan. They all had big old feet? That's size nine. Nine and a half. Mariah Carey. No. Oh, that's you, girl. And Eva Mendez. Man feet. Size ten. Kate Winslet and Brooke Shields. Do they travel through the Fairlands of Middle Earth? Disgusting. And finally, size 11. Rock's just jealous his feet aren't bigger. That's right. Size 11, we already said Paris Hilton. Tyra Banks. Tyra Banks is an 11? It's as big as your head. It matches her forehead. Okay. Nicole Kidman. Hey, our guest in here, Sean, she's a size 11, just so you know. Oh, my God. Okay. Nicole Kidman. And then this one surprises me. A size 11.
Meg Ryan. Oh, really? Tiny girl, big feet. I thought she was dainty. Tiny and big. Ashley, what size are your feet? Eight and a half. Sky? Same. But you guys are both eight and a half? Same size as Rob's feet. Because, you know, we're like the same height. You know what they say about small feet, Rob? What do they say? Sweaty pits. Speaking of that, have you looked at that? Hey, I think that you guys have nice-sized feet, so that must be the good size for chicks, 8 1⁄2. 8 1⁄2 is, I would say, average. Yeah. For my height. I'm 5'7 1⁄2. This guy and I are about the same height. So who's got the little feet? Do they have it? Oh, yeah. Yeah, dude, little feet. It's going to be great. Yeah, little feet. Yeah, you're going to get a Boston Rock. Austin Rock. Real fresh. Yeah. Yeah, dude. We'll get a limo, go to Little Feet. Okay, great. We'll get some Crown Royale. Yeah, great. Yeah. That's some clown royale. It should be great. That's what you drink.
Look at this clown. Hey, you got a bump? Hey, dude. Hey, wait. Hey, I got an idea, Kiyos. When we get Big Fat Paul, we'll go to Little Feet, all right? Make a box. Yeah, we'll go watch Little Feet. Little Feet. Hey, you know who I love in the band? The fiddle player, dude. Yeah, fiddle. He's great. He's great. I like the slide guitar. Yeah, real sweet. Yeah, real good. A real steel guitar working over there. The tambourine player's pretty good, dude. This should be great. Yeah, who's opening a puppet act? Great. Should be real good, Kiosk. You know where I got this jacket, dude? Where'd you get it? Milan Pacific. Wow, that's huge. Check that out. That's huge. Right there. Kill it. Right there. Kill it. Real fresh. So, with a size seven, we have Drew Barrymore, size six and a half, Demi Moore, Britney Spears. No way. Britney Spears has little feet. Really? Size six. Little feet. No, we already did that. We already did that. We just did all that. We just did all this. Let the pigs pile into the car. Be great. Put all the pigs in because we're going to see little feet. Be real sweet. Call up Big Fat Paul. Yeah, great, dude. Hey, Matt, why don't you just throw on a Hawaiian shirt while I'm going to be great. Yeah, come on. Yeah, come on. Be great. Tell you what, I'll bring bumps all around. Yeah, dude. Yeah, I'm there. Yeah, Bauman, take care of that kid.
Yeah. Clown. Look at this guy. Hey, where'd you get that jacket, dude? You know where I got this? Where'd you get it? Yeah, Milan. Look at that thing, man. Real fresh. Look at this clown. Costs more than your house, dude. He's a clown. Clown stool right there, clown. Look at that guy. Should be piling out of a car. British beef, this man. Yeah, little tiny car. Look at that guy. Little tiny car to match your feet. Oh, yeah. Thanks, Kiosk. Come smell this flower, dude. No, look at that squirt. With a size 6 shoe, we have Reese Witherspoon. And finally, wearing a size 5 shoe, we have Christina Aguilera and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Oh, how cute. Get Saget back in here. Yeah, let's ask him about that. Yeah, get Saget in here. Yeah, great, dude. He's real sweet. He can talk about the little feet. Hey, dude, tell me all about your big screens, all right? It's great. Let's go to little feet. Should be real good. Who goes to Little Feet, bro? Dude, please. Go get a nice little steak. Think of Clown Royale. Take mine on the rocks, bro. Then go to a bluegrass festival. Yeah, it should be real fun, dude. Yeah, watching Little Feet. Real good. Do you have their numbers? Do you have Woods or Bauman's number? Say no.
How would we not have her have that? Get him on the line, dude. Yeah, great, dude. Why don't you get Steve Woods in line real quick, all right? Yeah, get him on the line. Talk a little bit about Little Feet. Hey, Woods, you remember the night we were going to go see Little Feet? Get a box. This is the way this came up. People may not remember the genesis of how the Little Feet story came up. I don't. We were out partying with Mark Bauman and Steve Woods, our friends in Dallas, and this guy, Paul, who was a client. Big Fat Paul. Yeah, Big Fat Paul. Big Fat Paul. Well, he was never Big Fat Paul when Paul wasn't there. Yeah. Not to his face. Yeah, not to his face. But when he wasn't there, he was Big Fat... Yeah, he's my client, dude. I ain't gonna call him not to his face. I wanna die on him. Anyway, so Big Fat Paul says he's out with all of us. Me, Eddie, all the guys from the show. Yeah. And Bauman and Woods. Yeah. And in the middle of partying and having fun and carrying on, we're having a great time, he says, Hey, guys, next weekend, you know what we should do? And everybody's like, what? He goes, I think I might be able to get a box to the Little Feet concert. And the entire car goes silent. And he comes to a screeching halt. Andy, that sounds good. Ha!
And I think it was Woods. Woods was like, yeah, you know what? Hey, that sounds great. You know what? I'll talk to the guys about it. We're in the car. And he's like, you know what? I'll talk to the guys about it, all right? Oh, my God. Woods. You're right there. Hey, dude. Oh, hey. And so it's like the next day, Woods is like, hey, guys, doesn't that sound great? Let's get a limo. Go down to Little Feet. Little Feet, dude. We'll get a box. We'll get a box down. Yeah, dude. Hey, Woods. You'll drink your clown royale, dude, okay? And get a box and a little feet. It'll be real good. I got us all a box and we got the limo reserved for next week. A big fat ball. Yeah, that was great. Okay, good. We'll see you there, dude. Yeah, dude. Save me my seat. Yeah. And you know what? Grab yourself a nice Hawaiian shirt, bro. Number one DVD bar. What is your client? Best account I've ever had.
Oh, it's the best. Real good, dude. Real sweet. This guy. I love this guy so much. When are you going to come back and visit again? You know, I'm married now. Married, man. That's great. That means I need as many weekends away from the house. Oh, no. Oh, no. Get away from the ball and chain. That's right, dude. Yeah. He's choking me. I'm going to come solo, though. I'm going to come solo, for sure. There you go. With your boy Bauman. Well, yeah, of course with Bauman. That's right. Duh. He's a big timer now. You know, he's the new boss over there. Hey, how did the word clown ever come up? How did that start? Here we go. We went out one night and got just hammered. And we're driving home. And I think it's like the night before Thanksgiving. It's a great night to go out. We got just schnockered. And we're in the car. And you know me. I'm just being a giant. In Texas, that's legal, by the way. You can do that. And I go, dude, you got to pull into Whataburger. I'm dying. And he goes, dude.
And I go, dude, pull into Whataburger right now. He goes, it's closed, clown. And I got so upset, dude. He got really upset. Did you just call me a clown? Did you just call me a clown? Yeah, dude, you got a big floppy hat and big old shoes, red nose. You're a clown. So the next week, all Bauman could talk about, he goes, you guys would never believe how angry this man got when I called him a clown. And from that moment on, the word clown was on. So, you know, Batman's on 5-3 and talks a big game. This is big time. This is a big timer, man. So what do you guys have to say? I guess we're on the air, so that's fascinating. That's still good, dude. Here, here, here. Yeah, great. It's great on the air. Really, is that what this girl does for a living? She reads the news? Well, let me try it. Here, here, here. News, great. Go home. Real tough.
Why don't you try working for a living? Oh, my God. He's the best. He's the best. All right, Woods. All right, boys. Let's get the band back together. Oh, yeah. Wait, I got to tell you this story. So, wait, Woods, you there? Yeah, I'm here. So, I get this voicemail from him. I save your voicemails, dude. They're the greatest. They are so touching at the same time. They are so inspirational. He goes. He goes, hey, dude, ran into an old friend of ours. He doesn't work in radio anymore. Woods doesn't work in radio. He goes, hey, dude. So I ran into an old friend of ours the other day, all right? And it's an old friend. He says her name. She used to be a manager. I ran into her the other day. I said to her, hey, just so you know, we can get the band back together if you have Mikey and Eddie come back out there. You have Mikey and Eddie come back out to Texas. Woods is always trying to get us to come back to Dallas. Here's the thing. She calls me the day our station goes back up there, and she calls me and says, She goes, hey, would you be interested in coming back and selling the Eagle? And I said, hey, you know, I'm working in online media. I said, it's a phenomenal opportunity. Our company is great. It's great. I said, if you get Mikey and Eddie back there, I said, you can consider. I'll walk in. I'll hand in my resignation letter right there. That's right. Wow. I've come to work right there. If you get Mikey, Eddie, and Paul the Van Halen guy back there.
All the guys from Little Fate. You can bring your whole new crew down and we'll just do it on Dallas. Yeah, dude. Yeah, really good. Yeah, real sweet. I'm in, dude. Come on. Let's do it. All right, Woodsy. Not in a million years. I watch a clown down in the morning now, dude. It's terrible. I'm telling you, we got to get... This is half the fun. You got to have Bauman on, too. Oh. Yeah, you got to get Bauman on. Because the two of them are like... I'm not kidding you. They're like Abbott and Costello, the two of them. They're so different and so funny together. Oh, it's hysterical. All right, Woodsy. Dude, you should hear, I don't know if you've heard any of the stories from Eddie's wedding and when we went out the last night we were in town. I wasn't there. Can I tell this quick story? Real quick. Real quick. We get ridiculously drunk the last night. Who's we? Who was it? Bauman and I. Okay. We're staying at the W. Of course. And we're running around in this... old lady starts hitting on me. And I mean like 60, okay? Kind of hot, but like 60. So she's like, I need you to come back to my room with me. And I'm like, I don't know. I'm not quite that. I just got engaged. I was like, I don't think I'm going to. She's standing there. She's hammered. And she literally starts dropping $100 bills out of her purse. And what do I do? Like put my foot over one of them and like drag it, you know, like a dead leg.
He's so bad. Yeah, hurry up so I can give my testimony, will you? Yeah, I woke up and had like 200 bucks with me. Oh, my goodness. Woodsy, great story. He's terrible. Great story. He's terrible. Phenomenal, phenomenal. All right, Woods. Yes, thank you very much. That's what I love about it. Thank you, Woods. We'll see you. Yeah, we miss you. Listen, he knows my deal. He knows my deal, but he's going to be Woods. He's Woods, dude. That's what I love about him. Real quick story, Mikey. Mikey, I know you've got to give your testimony, but let me tell you real quick. This girl was 60 and hot, all right? I was punching this chick in a wheelchair. Quick story. Quick story. Hang on, dude. Hang on, dude. I'm getting to the meat. So, puppy. came along and lit it on fire. Hang on. Hang on. I know you've got to get to your testimony, but hang on a second. Guys, unbelievable. They are two characters. Little feet. 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment. What a way to end the week. You can call in about anything you want at the beginning and end of every show. Yes. Yes. This is what I do. I sit on you. Thank you.
Wow. Oh, man. Mikey Show. So good. Hey, Mikey, it's P1. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Hey, Matt Damon. Have a long time not here, Matt Damon. What are you doing, man? Just working up in Talley right now. Nice. I was trying to see if I could get a little of the Drama Queen song going on. Yeah, why not? We haven't played that in so long. I haven't heard it forever. I don't think that's necessary, Damon. That's Matt Damon. Everybody's picking on this guy today. Thank you, Eddie. What's up with that? Oh. I'm feeling good, man. Are you going to be okay? I'm feeling fresh, I'm feeling sexy, and I'm feeling honey-baked. And a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, and I can dance. Yes. I am sky. I like interpretive drive. Ooh, look at me.
Can't you see? I am the drama queen. I'm not apologizing for my behavior because I was really sick. I was throwing up here, I went home, I was throwing up at home. Early morning and I'm on the show. Mispronouncing and in the flow. Man, I wish we played music and I didn't have to be. Having to read and speak. I had just been conversating. It's conversing. The guys are making me want to cry. Life was better when I was. I don't know how I do it. Every single day, I really earn my pay. And if you didn't know. 40 spots to number one. Get out of here. I got my cramps. It's that time of the month. By the way, I'm really sunburnt. I think I need to call Mother. Oh, no. Don't call. Hello, Mother. It's me again. Yes, again. Yes, it's me. Will you come get me? I have a sunburn. No, of course I'm being serious. You can take me to your place and we'll look for a water bottle. We'll put urine in it and it'll cure me. But call Kaiser first. Make sure that they're aware of this. Ramsey, get those blades moving. Come on, don't be so slow. It's an oldie but a goodie. Oh, my goodness. I feel a headache coming on. I'm starting to hyperventilate. Man, Damon. Brilliant.
That made my whole weekend right there. That's right. That's good stuff, man. Thank you, Matt Damon. This guy just handed me a note. There is a guy in Las Vegas that they just found. He's in critical condition after ricin. Is that the name of the poison? Yep. Ricin was found in his hotel room? Yeah. Well, what's the deal? Well, I guess yesterday at about 3 o'clock, a guy, and it's really, like, weird the way they describe everybody. They say a guy who was retrieving items from the hotel room found a small container and a bag in the room. And so brought it to the hotel manager, and the manager, like, didn't really know what to do with it and was kind of creeped out. So he called the police. They came out and tested it, and they say it's 100% ricin, which is a very, very... bad, bad substance. And basically this guy is now in a coma and is in critical condition. You mean the guy that found it? Yeah. Well, it says, because they describe it as a man who was retrieving items brought this stuff to the hotel manager. But then they say the guy in the coma was a man found in the hotel room. So I don't know. They're just like...
weird. It's weird to piece it all together who is who and who touched it and who found it and who's in lymphoma. Colonel Mustard with the lampstand. That's right. It's always the person in the end of Clue. That's a plum with a ricin stick. Yeah, they say ricin poisoning can include anything from difficulty breathing, fever, cough, nausea, sweating, severe vomiting, and dehydration. Some really bad stuff found in Vegas. So they don't know. They're assuming now that there's no link to terrorism. But what? Why is there? I didn't say. I thought that was good. I said it was good. It's breaking news. It's breaking news. I just figured. Mikey show. Up to you if you want to talk. Hey, Mikey. Yes. Hey, I want to give a plug. Go ahead. Hey, Warface is playing tonight. Local death metal over at Jumping Turtle. Is that a bar in San Marcos? Yeah, buddy. There you go. All right, buddy. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey, what's up? What's up? Hey, first, I just wanted to say, glad to hear all you guys are feeling better. Eddie, it sounds like you're back to yourself again. Yep, 100%. 100%, right? Minus three. Thanks for the last today, guys. I'd just like to say, can I cast my vote for a P1 party at K1?
Oh, dude, how great was that, man? Hell yeah. My son was sick from school yesterday. I missed it. But I felt like listening to the whole show, I definitely missed it. Dude, it was awesome, man. And we are planning something out there for sure. That would be great. Come back up and watch me. What, Rob? Shut up, Rob. I was saying you can come back up and watch me beat Mikey at racing again. And again. That's right. And again. All right. And again. Wow. In that direction if I could. Well, if you put a shoebox full of, you know, sand in the seat and that's how much it weighs, of course you're going to make it around those turns real fast. Mikey Show, hello. Mikey Show. Love you guys. Love you guys. Whoa. Right back at you. Sticks like glue. In your face. Mikey Show, hello. Sticks like horizon. Hey, Mikey, P1 Gunslinger. Eddie, too early. Great show this week. Loved it. You didn't have to mention it if you didn't want to. Oh, whoa, whoa. Oh, she's screaming. Why is she screaming? I cast him a note. And if he thought it was worthy to put on the air, he could. And he did. Yeah. Come on. Wednesday, Friday, everybody. We are all a little safer this weekend now. Yes. Everybody stay away from Las Vegas. And Andre Rison. Sorry, Skye. I enjoyed the story.
Sky is passing me a note right now. Andre Risen. It's what? I don't know. Is it a terrorist in Vegas? No, no, no. That is not the case. Who's reporting what? Where did it happen? I don't understand. Hang on, hang on. Sky just handed me something here. What's going on? Breaking news. Guys, breaking news. The Dow Jones Industrial Average just went up 2%. Is that ripped off the wire? You should throw that away. Oh, guys. Wait, I just got something off the list. Sky just handed me a note. It says that a walrus was born at the wild animal park. Oh, wow. Rich and compelling. That doesn't even make sense, dummy. A walrus at the wild animal park? Was it out in the African savanna or in the lion camp? Where was it born? Yeah, you're the dumb one, Mike. Thank you. He's the one who put it on the air. Don't look at me, dude.
Hey, wait, wait. This just in. This is breaking news. Fresh off the wire. Southwest flight 225 landed on time. Oh, you're a jerk. Oh, man. That's brutal. I'm sorry. How dare you, Rob? You're such an idiot. Thank you, Rob. Thank you, Rob. Wow. Thank you, Rob. My eyes are watering because they're dry. Thank you, Rob. I'm using... Thank you, Rob. I appreciate your support. Anytime. These guys... Guys, unbelievable. Kicking on a bunch of... Unbelievable. Thank you, Rob. Unbelievable. Anything else in for news? Shut your mouth. This just in bad news rising? Eddie? This just in bad news bears? What is that? It doesn't make any sense, Rob. It doesn't have to. Okay. Mikey show.
Hey, B-Rob, how you doing? Yeah, pretty good. Hey, I need some advice from the Oracle. Go ahead. All right, I got a bunch of friends that are Detroit Red Wings fans, and I'm a Mighty Ducks fan myself, and I just need to find some way how to cut them down from their little pedestal that they're on. Just make fun of them for being hockey fans. That's a pretty good one. I like that. Remind them that they're hockey fans. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Oh, Sky just checked out. She pulled the microphone away. She pushed her microphone away. She checked out. She's checked out. She's checked out. Ben checked out. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, this is P1 Vegetable. Go ahead, Vegetable. I just want to say I hope you guys have a great weekend and ask just I am me, Cherry Shivo. Oh, Ashley, that is so inappropriate. I would never. Except for that one time. I would never. Thank you very much. Well, listen, every Friday at the end of the show, I give you my testimony. This is where I tell you some things that have happened in my life and what happened after those things happened and kind of where it has left me today. Basically, there was a time in my life where I was doing everything the wrong way. A time in my life when I was taking drugs. There was a time in my life where I was drinking uncontrollably and addicted to alcohol.
And I say this because I know that there are people that are listening today that find themselves in the same situation or that find themselves in a situation of extreme loneliness or they find themselves in a situation that they feel like they can't get out of as financial or maybe you're in a situation with one of your kids. Or maybe you're in a situation where you feel very, very hopeless. I have been there. I've been in that exact same situation. I remember a night, a very specific night, when I was laying in bed, and I just knew that unless I stopped drinking, I was going to die. And if I did, I felt at that moment that if I did, it wouldn't really matter to me, but that there was a lot of people around me that it would affect. And I thought of my dad, and I thought of my mom, and I thought of the people that I was working with, and I thought of all of the family members that it would affect. And I didn't want to die. I felt like I still had a lot of stuff left to do. And so at that moment, I asked Jesus Christ to enter my life and to change me and to change the situation. Now, I say this to you because
If you're going through something similar, you might feel like it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if I die. And at this point, you may be so upset with your situation that you're not really thinking about the people around you either. You don't care how they feel or how you feel. All you want is out. And that's why I mentioned this on the end of the show on Friday because there's a lot of people that need hope. And my hope was in allowing Jesus Christ into my life. Last night, my wife and I were talking about the things that sometimes start to trip us out, bum us out, get us sad, and that we forget about all the good stuff. And if you're listening right now and you're going, I don't have any of that, I'm telling you that for me, putting my faith in Jesus Christ was enough and that he saved my life and that he could save your life. All you have to do is ask.
So we played this song by a band called Third Day. The song is called Tunnel. It's about hope. Really listen to the lyrics of the song. I think that you will get a lot out of the lyrics if you really listen to the lyrics. Lovely and talented Missy is up next today. She's got Freeform Friday. See you again on Monday morning. The Mikey Show is out. Late. Don't pretend to know what you're thinking. Know what you're going through.
