The show opened with a heated debate about whether the full‑frontal Dr. Manhattan scene in Watchmen constitutes pornography or legitimate comic‑book imagery. Mikey and Eddie then examined the Obama administration’s release of secret Bush anti‑terrorism memos, arguing whether it was a transparency move or political shaming. The crew reacted to Rachel Ray’s Nightline appearance, discussed Tom Cruise’s lawsuit over a ‘sex addict’ T‑shirt, and heard Eddie’s squirrel‑attack story and Barbara’s defense of breastfeeding while driving. They capped the hour with a prank involving a fake ‘ham special with onion rings’ order at drive‑thrus and a preview of U2’s upcoming album No Line on the Horizon.

I love headbands on my wife and Sky. My wife looks really good in headbands, too. Look at us. Some chicks put on a headband, though, and you're like, eh, big whoop. You know what I mean? Not everybody rocks them. I'm not going to mention people's names because that would hurt, but I know that some people wear them, I've seen them, and then I go, I don't remember that I've seen them later. This guy makes an impression. Thank you. Do you know what I'm saying? No. I don't really care, man. I do not know what you're saying. I get it. I'm the best. I'm very distracted right now.
Now, I'm trying to get a handle, and I was really thinking about it this morning. I'm trying to get a handle on the sound effects. What I'm going to do, see, if I put the sound effects in an order that works for me, I'm good to go. And I'm just not done doing that yet. And I'm getting there. I'm just not done. And when I get there, you're going to hear all the little drops a lot more. You know what I'm talking about? That kind of thing. It is murder. It is murder. It is murder. It is murder. It is murder. Would you eat your dog? Would you eat your cat? You know? Yes. It's like that. But I'm just, I'm not quite there. I'm almost there. Okay. 570-1053 is our request line number. So if you want to call us up, go ahead. We'd love to hear from you. In fact, we start the show off every day by just going, hey, man, call us up. Five people on the Mikey Show. Myself, Eddie.
Sky, who's rocking the black headband. Thank you. Ashley, who is, as we speak, is making sure that the bangs are perfectly separated and they look great. Let me tell you something. Ashley has the best bangs in the business. Whoa. That's quite an honor. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's hard to get them like that and she rocks them, right? Yeah, for sure. Boston Rob, he is our utility guy. And so he does a variety of things. Right now, he is wearing Boston Red Sox gear, which is really different, man. No. You rarely get to see that. Really? Guys from Boston. That is weird. Text us. It's textmikey at gmail.com. Textmikey at gmail.com. Let's see. We have one text already. And it is from a person that was listening to, I'm assuming the replay. No, not the replay. Maybe it's just from yesterday. He was just remembering that we were talking about it yesterday. We did this thing where we were saying, what was your 15 minutes of fame? Like, what did you get your 15 minutes of fame for? You know, what was your deal? This guy writes us and he says, I made the front page of the newspaper for getting hit by a van when I was six.
Oh, my gosh. And he calls himself P1 Crash Test Dummy. Oh, wow. Good name. I'm guessing he's okay. Let's see. Mikey, new releases are today. Eddie, any idea what's coming out? That's P1 Andrew, The Frake Train. We don't need to start like that. I don't do that kind of thing. Sometimes I'll get excited about a certain particular movie. But that's not like, I'm not trying to, you know, rain on anybody's parade. By sometimes you mean like 12 consecutive weeks in a row. Yeah, basically. Wow. Ashley, you know, I thought for sure you would understand where I was coming from. I'm afraid that I don't. I get it. Wow. In about 90 seconds, we're going to be talking about President Obama releasing some, what I would think would be very private tapes. From the Bush administration. So we're going to be talking about that in about 90 seconds. First, we'll take a couple of phone calls. Get your texts at textmikey at gmail.com. P1 Scooby is on the line. Hey, what's going on, guys? What's up, Scoob? Hey, I was reading your guys' blogs. Uh-huh. And I came across Eddie's and Skye's and talking about the movie last night. Yeah, The Watchmen. Oh. And the one thing I found funny that Skye took away from the movie. Uh-huh. Can you not? Was that she was able to have junk food.
For dinner. Oh, yeah. That wasn't awesome. What did you say, Sky? Well, I blogged about it this morning and how one of the really cool, because the boo, my husband, is always on me about what I eat. He's like a food Nazi. And, you know, you always got to eat. You guys eat cookies for dinner. I mean. Well, that was that one time that we were really tired. But, you know, he always wants me to make sure I have something healthy in there. But last night I got away with popcorn and soda. So. Yeah. Awesome. It was really cool. And you blogged about that? First of all, that's not all. How dare you? Well. How dare you, sir? Oh, boy. Because I observed everything. You were there, too. And I was watching. What are you, a watchman? I was a watchman. Who watches the watchman? Yeah, right? She actually split a hot dog with the husband. That's true. They shared a popcorn and then each had a soda. Well, we shared a soda. Or did you? I thought you individually had one. No, we shared one. Fair enough. We share everything. Which I found fascinating. And so, Scooby, you enjoyed reading about what she was having last night? Well, I was reading, you know, she was all talking about the movie and everything. And then right at the end, she's like, I had junk food for dinner. Oh, it was rad. You dug that. How do you follow up the movie with junk food? Oh, I was still looking forward to it. Well, what was even funnier is that Debra and I went and we were going to, you know, have dinner beforehand. And I know that Debra texted Sky and asked if you wanted to join us for dinner.
And she's like, no, I want junk food. I want popcorn. Yes. It was a plan. It was a plan. You're an adult. You were really looking forward to it. I had a plan. But, Skye, don't you think that food is terrible at movie theaters? I don't think they have very good food. What? Well, I didn't, like, eat food. I had popcorn and soda. Yeah. I mean, it's not like I'm getting... But you had half that hot dog. Well, I had half a hot dog, yeah. Skye, what kind of soda did you get? Sprite. And your husband agrees with that? Well, I don't drink caffeine because I won't be able to sleep. So it was Sprite. But do you guys mutually agree? Because me and my girl, we could never because she likes regular Coke and I like diet or I get like iced tea and I have it unsweetened. So there's no possible way that we could ever, ever, ever share a drink. And you wouldn't drink a regular Sprite either, right? Nah. Well, when I drink regular soda now, because I've conditioned my body not to, you know, except the sugar gives me a headache, and my body gets all weird. Eddie likes orange, right? I like all sodas, but they all have to be regular. I don't drink diet soda. I like orange. My favorite soda is Dr. Pepper. I used to drink Coca-Cola Classic a lot, and I stopped drinking that, but I'll drink it occasionally. Ash, what do you drink at a movie theater?
Diet Coke. Yeah? Yeah. And it's a treat when it's Mr. Pibb. It is? That is a great point. I love Mr. Pibb, which they don't sell in like two liters. It's so much better than Dr. Pepper. I wouldn't go that. Don't go crazy. Well, it's better than Dr. Pepper. Slightly. I don't know about that. Yeah. It's just different. It's awesome. Because I love Dr. Pepper, but I love Mr. Pibb. I'm sorry. I mean, they're both great. Mr. Pibb is wonderful. If I had... Pibb Extra, forget about it. That is a fascinating conversation. Enjoy. I don't rock any of that stuff. Do you fellas share your drinks with you ladies? I don't anymore because Debra can't really drink caffeine while pregnant, but she would occasionally, and she won't drink a lot of it, so I don't mind, but she'll occasionally drink Dr. Pepper with me, but she prefers the diet stuff. Eddie, controversy. Yeah. Well, we just got an instant message from Hall of Famer Peele and Quimby. And she says she's a little bit confused. Oh. Because she says that in Sky's blog, it says, quote. Well, you won't get out of my blog. It says, quote, that there was a lot of junk food last night at the movies. And then Quimby says, dot, dot, dot, according to her blog. Wait, a lot of junk food or a lot of junk?
A lot of junk. Yeah, I'm talking about something different. We're not talking about food, Mike. What are we talking, candy? No. We're talking about junk, Mike. What is she saying? What? That is weird. I am not weird. You watch that movie. Calm down. That is pornography, sir. Calm down. Calm down. That should be right in X, that movie. Wow. That should be X-Men. I just want to... X-Men. Can you calm her down? Triple X-Men, right? Can you calm her down? Thank you, Mike. Thank you, Mike. Can you please calm her down? Were you sitting with her? Yes. And you saw nudity? Oh, my gosh. And when you saw said nudity. Not really, Mike. When you saw said nudity. Full frontal male nudity throughout the whole entire movie. No. Eddie's shaking his head and saying, that's just not true. If she can calm down, first of all. Can she calm down? Full frontal junk. You know the blue guy? Have you seen the previews for The Watchmen? There's a blue dude. His name is Dr. Manhattan. Yep. And Dr. Manhattan is like illuminated blue and like, he looks like almost cartoonish. Right. And he doesn't wear pants. He doesn't wear clothes. He doesn't wear clothes. He doesn't wear clothes. Okay. And so they show what is the, looks like the outline of a male penis, but it's not like detailed or anything. Oh, please. Oh, please.
Please, that thing is swinging all over. First of all, that is not true. It is dangling. It is dangling. I couldn't take your eyes off it. She's bizarre. Through the whole movie, Mike, full frontal, dude. It's weird that Sky was wearing 3D glasses, but the movie's not in 3D. That's hilarious. She's doing her own sketches. Hey, no video cameras allowed here. That is not a movie for children. It's rated R. I'm just saying, if anyone was thinking about it, don't. It's rated R. They're like, oh, it's comic book. It's probably just bad language. No. Full frontal male nudity. There's some boobage in there. There's some butts. It's from a graphic novel. It's a porno novel. Okay, calm down. It must be really graphic. It's like a Nora Roberts novel up in there. Wow. You are something else. Mike, you watch. You tell me, bro, because there's full frontal.
All over that thing. She's nuts. Yeah, it sounds like she might be. Okay, it's been longer than 90 seconds. We got to talk about this Obama deal. Okay. Apparently, the Obama administration released some tapes from the Bush administration. Oh, yeah, they were memos. Oh, they were memos? Yes. Okay, sorry. They were memos. Like post-its? Yes. No, I'm serious. No, memos aren't written on post-its, bro. I don't. Yeah, Rob just looked at me like, dude. I write memos on post-its. No, Rob. Do you know what a memo is? Yeah, it's like, remember to do this. No, that's a remember. That's a reminder. No, a memo. I'm not in the business world, Mike. Let me call Karen. Corporate. Find out what's up. A memo, Rob, is a memorandum. is something that used to be circulated in office buildings before the time of email. Oh. And what somebody would do is they would type out an official memo. To, from, date.
Kind of like that. Okay, so it's like a letter. Did you get the memo about the TPS report? That's right. Yeah, I got that. Put it on your desk. Just got that yesterday. Just read that. And everyone else is putting the cover sheet. That's right. Read that thing. You haven't yet. Did you give me a Xerox copy of that? The TPS report? Put the memo on your desk. I'll get it to you again. So that's how it works, okay? Yeah. And apparently Obama and his administration released secret Bush anti-terrorism memos. Well, how can they do that? I mean, that's crazy. I don't know. First of all. Well, let me hear details. I don't know what's going on. Let's hear some details. Okay, so I haven't, you know, read everything about it. I just, you know. was sifting through all the details, but they said that these memos were previously secret and that the Obama administration has released them. And in them, it basically claims that the president had nearly unchecked.
powers in the war against terrorism, including the ability to bypass certain constitutional rights, including the Fourth Amendment protection against unwarranted search and seizure and possibly the First Amendment protection of free speech and freedom of the press. It also goes on to talk about the injustices at Guantanamo Bay, the things that happened there. Wiretapping without warrants, instituting harsh new interrogation techniques, and jailing U.S. citizens indefinitely without charge. Okay, so it doesn't sound like... It's giving any information away that would help the bad guys. No, no, it's not like that. It just sounds like typical Obama. Bad form, bad character, showing the American people and rubbing George Bush's nose and how bad the administration was. I think that these documents, I don't know what the exact word is, but the public has a right to these documents. And after an administration is out of office, this is policy.
Public has the right to lots of stuff. Yeah. And the current administration chooses what it is they want to put out there. Well, my opinion is that... People have wanted to see this stuff for a long time because when the Bush administration was going out, it's not like... They're clamoring for it. Yeah. Like who? The press? The ACLU. The press? The ACLU? Yeah. The ACLU has now filed a lawsuit because the CIA has destroyed 92 videotapes of interrogations and other treatment of terrorism suspects. Let me tell you, Scott, make no mistake about it. That these were supposed to be allowed to be public property. This is Obama shaming George Bush. Why? What? Like, why? Why would he do that? Because he didn't like him. He didn't like George Bush. I don't know. Well, dude, in his book, Audacity of Hope, he talks about some interchange that they had with each other where he was offended. And yeah, no, like I get he's not the biggest fan, but.
I mean, this is, again, not based on fact at all. I don't think he's wasting his time going around shaming people. People have been clamoring for these documents before the Obama administration. He shamed him in the inauguration speech. Oh, I don't care. This has nothing to do with Obama. I think, though, if Bush was doing everything morally, and I'm careful with the word correct, then I don't think it would be a big deal that these are coming out. Exactly. There was, I mean. Bush used his presidency like a king. And that is an incredible point. And I'm going to say this about what you just said, because I said the other day, if you're lining all your ducks up in a row, right, then you shouldn't be afraid of any of your ducks being exposed. Definitely. So there's no doubt about that. Bush made some bad choices. The thing that I think is sort of bad form is Obama being more than willing. To shine the light on it. It's not necessary. He says he's shining the light. The press is shining the light. They've been clamoring for this. Whoever was in office. I don't think they've been clamoring for it, Skye. I haven't heard clamoring. I was reading stories prior to us even electing a president about how they were requesting these documents. And Cheney was saying stuff about how he doesn't want to hand over all the documents. And they were saying, hey, these are public property. It's our right once you're out of office to look at these documents. We know what happened at Guantanamo Bay. We know what happened.
This isn't new information. It's just very specific information that everybody can pour through and talk about. Yeah, but to point the finger at Obama is like, oh, this is all you. He didn't have to do it. Yeah, he does. This is public stuff. He didn't have to do it. No, he doesn't have to do it. He doesn't have to do it. If George Bush didn't release it. Well, I think that's the deal. Once you're out of office, then it becomes public. That's not the deal. That's what I, I don't know. Someone call us who know. Because that's what I remember reading, you know, six months ago. I'll tell you what. If a Republican is elected after Obama's term and there is some mistakes that Obama makes and stuff comes out, you're going to hear me saying the same thing. I just think it's kind of poor form. But agree to disagree. I see. Listen, I respect where you're coming from, Sky. Honestly, I mean, if your deal is a. The best argument I think I'm hearing is, hey, if dude didn't do it, shouldn't have anything to be ashamed of. Yeah. Right. Common sense. Great argument. You know, but I just I see Obama as a guy. He really does. I'm just get he gets back. I'm uncomfortable with our country's dirty laundry out anywhere. Yeah. Like, I don't care. Republican, Democrat doesn't matter to me. It's it's stuff that.
It's unnecessary. Like the press, you don't need to know any, you don't need to know this stuff. Like you already know this stuff. Like it's just creepy to me. Just hopefully he, he changes some of the stuff that has, you know, like that book doctrine. I watched this great documentary about Guantanamo Bay and the book doctrine and all this stuff. And I mean, whatever happens with the dirty laundry, you know, it's going to get out there. People, there are some people that I believe, really do want this to, you know, people know what's going on, but this is confirmation. He's already closed Guantanamo Bay. So what else needs to be done? But in the Bush doctrine, you know what, I'll look all this stuff and I'll get it for you guys because there was crazy stuff about just interrogation rights for people, all the wiretapping and all this stuff that now the government just has free range with it when there needs to be some kind of restriction on it.
You know? There's the Geneva Convention. He's already said that he's going to change all those policies. Yeah. So, I mean, this is just a confirmation for everyone going, hey, we can see it in writing now. This text says, Mikey, of course the people want to know. It's just like if they were to release the info on Watergate. Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah, the Nixon tapes. You know, the Nixon documents, I mean. Yeah, hey, listen. I mean, I think that when those Nixon things came out, it was... good stuff for the press to kind of go through and go, oh, and look at when he did this, and look at when he did this. I mean, we already knew this, but let's do this. Oh, yeah, that's what the press does, whether you're a politician, a private citizen. If it's sensational, if it's something that's going to sell a paper, they're all about it. And somebody made a decision whether or not they were going to put that stuff out there. I mean, listen. Well, I don't know if it was a decision. Let me tell you. I'll just tell you if it were me. I'll just tell you if it were me. No, it's not a decision where it had to be done, Sky. It is not. See, that's my thought. I'm thinking this stuff, we have a right. The public has a right to this stuff. That's the president's decision. I don't know about that. It is. Well, I'd like to read about that. I don't know about that. Okay. I'm just saying. Mikey, do you think Obama may be interested in directing the public's attention away from the now below 7,000 Dow Jones? Sure, I don't think that that's why this happened.
Although that's an interesting theory, but I don't think that's why it happened. But I think the fact that the Dow is below 7,000 is just as creepy as it gets. They say, I watched the news yesterday, and they say it could fall even further, like possibly below 6,000. Mikey, you are the biggest hater ever. Just because the new president is not a Bible thumper does not mean he is a bad guy. Yeah, I don't think that because he's not a Bible thumper, he isn't a bad guy. And I mean that sincerely. And I hope that you can hear in my voice that I'm not a liar. And I don't think that Obama is a bad guy. And that's not what you're saying. Because he's not a Bible thumper. I really hope that. He is a Bible thumper, actually. I mean, he's a believer. He goes to church. He has a strong faith. But what Mike is saying is that, and I agree with you 100%. And remember, I said a while back that there was something about Obama. That gives me a kind of just a weird feeling. And, and it's, and it's this type of thing that he's doing where he, I believe he does have control and he is exposing it and he is kind of gone. See, see why we needed the change. See why, you know, I'm elected because I'm not going to do this stuff. And I mean, and that's just the portion of me that believes that. And I, and I believe he's doing this all knowing what he's doing, you know, like there is kind of.
Premeditation. Yeah. Agenda. I want to be real careful with my words because I think it's good that this stuff is coming out. But at the same time, I think it is a tiny bit in the smallest little morsel of classless. And I'm careful with it. I'm careful with it. And that's what you're saying. That's what I'm saying. And I 100% agree with you on that. I think it was bad form, that photograph that they showed where he's turning his back to Ted Kennedy and Hillary. And Hillary Duff. I think it's worse for a former president to spit on the Constitution. That's the bigger issue. What does that have to do with Barack Obama? You want to talk about that? We can have a whole other conversation about it. If you point a finger at somebody, guess what? Guess what? I don't know. I don't know. Something happened. Ashley, you got to be careful where you point your finger because if you point one finger at somebody else, you're pointing three back at you. She didn't give me a chance to guess. Yeah, guess what? Was that Robert Frost? Yes. Guess what, Rob? All I'm saying is I feel we're nitpicking at Obama for little things whereas I feel the Bush administration was guilty of
huge things, but we're going to nitpick somebody turning their back. But you act like that hasn't been discussed. Like, we know that already. Well, let's talk about nitpicking. The Dow Jones closed yesterday below 7,000. Now, if the Dow Jones had closed yesterday at 10,000, I'll tell you what Libby McLib would be saying. And I mean Libby McLib out in the nation, you know, the overall Libby McLib. Libby McLiberal would be saying, thank goodness. for Obama. Thank goodness. Well, yeah. I mean, he got in there and he changed it around. That's just like we know. Barack Obama, he's driving our country into the toilet. But if it was at 10,000, the conservatives would shut up and the liberals would be jumping. It's, you know, everybody has their side. And if the Dow Jones were at 10,000, Sky, all I could do is look at the fact that the Dow Jones is at 10,000. The fact.
And the fact that the current administration, now this is if it's a 10,000, that the current administration got in there and made some changes. They put their stuff that they talked about into action. And they're doing that. Yeah, and we're below 7,000. It's not having the effect on Wall Street they were hoping, yeah. But either way, somebody's going to feel like they're a victor in it. And right now the conservatives... I do not feel like a victor. I feel like a loser. I feel like a loser. I feel like we're all losing. I wish that something would happen. I wish something would happen. And let me tell you, man, I got to tell you this. I got to tell you this. When I read before the election who he was choosing... to run the economy, I actually liked it. I thought, man, these seem like some pretty smart... I still do. At this moment, he picked some people that I was like, man, they seem pretty smart to me. They were economists that seemed smart. Here's some of the schools. Harvard, Stanford. Good schools, man. State. San Diego State University. No state. Mesa. I don't know. I don't know.
I'm not a big Barack guy, which is so unpopular because he's such a movie star. Well, he's elegant. He's elegant. He's handsome. He's doing good things. He's doing good things. No, Sky. Actually, right now he's doing some things that aren't very good. He's doing good things. They're not having the result on Wall Street and the economy yet. How can you call them good? How do you call them good? Because in regards to ethics and my beliefs and my politics, they're good to me. The green energy stuff, you know, the tax cuts on the wealthy. These are good things in my eyes. Bringing the guys home, right? Yeah, bringing the guys home. Right, right. Well, no, that's actually not true. We just sent 17,000. He just said that. Bringing the majority of the guys home. No, no, no, no. Quite opposite. No, in fact, that's why he's under fire right now because he's not doing what he said he was going to do in his campaign. He has a plan. It's taking three months longer than his original plan, but it's, he's, sorry, three extra months. How's that Kool-Aid over there? Pretty tasty. Dude, let me tell you. I believe, sorry you guys are haters. I believe in him. It's not haters. I believe in him and I believe in what he's doing. I am personally not a hater. Like, if this guy can get in there and fix things, I'm all for it. He's working on it. But right now, there's nothing being done. It's not going to happen overnight. Okay. You know? But then don't go in and be like, he's doing great things. He's not. He has great ideas and he's implementing those great ideas. It's just going to take time to see the results of them. I'll tell you what. Sorry, it's not instant. I know. I am too. Uh,
I wish it was. Yeah, me too. Me too. If it happens and the economy, you know, which eventually it has to. Well, the deficit's going to be cut by half in four years. That's what he said. He did say that. He did say that. But, you know, this thing has to turn around. I mean, it has to. If it doesn't, if it doesn't, you know, doom and gloom, blah, blah, blah. And so I really hope that it does turn around. And let me tell you something. And I mean this. I'm being really serious. I'll be cool because I think you guys know me and know my personality well enough to know that when I'm wrong, I say, you know what, man? I made a pretty bad call on that one. I screwed up. I was wrong. And I'd really like to say that about Barack Obama. I'd really like four years from now to look back on this sucker and go, man, did I have that call wrong? Look at this country. It's just flourishing in every way. Yeah, we got flying cars. Seriously. Yes. Now you're talking. Trust me. That's what we're going to have. That's right. Cover boards. Finally. I'm down. Killer show today. Killer show today. You're going to dig it. When we come back, Rachel Ray went on ABC's Nightline. And we were just talking about this, right? Eddie has very strong feelings about Rachel Ray. She just went on Nightline.
And I have unpreviewed audio purposefully. I didn't. I saw it. I went, I ain't listening. We're doing this on the air. We're doing this on the air. Wow. Before I even listened to it. And I got it highlighted with exclamation points. Unpreviewed audio of Rachel Ray on Nightline talking about the following things. Her now infamous FHM photo shoot. What? She also talks about the people who don't like her. This unpreviewed audio is next. Seinfeld in the stand-up spotlight. We all try and prevent ourselves from getting ripped off. This guy's wanted in 12 states. Yeah, now what? Okay. You know, I check the guy standing in line behind me. If it's not him, that's pretty much all I can do. Why don't they just hold on to this guy when they're taking his picture? The guy's there with you.
Come out from behind the camera, grab him! No, we don't do that. We take their picture, we let them go. That's how we get the front and side shot. The front is his face, the side is him leaving. Why don't they put the pictures of the criminals on the postage stamps? Let the postman look for him. He's out there walking around all day. He's got the uniform on. Can he do something? And Ashley. I support sweat everywhere I go. Wow. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Don't stop.
Now, with what's up in your world, this is the Mikey Show 360. All right. What are people talking about? What's going on out in our world that people are discussing? One of the things is, and I don't really know why, you know, a lot of times stuff will come across, you know, the news desk or whatever that you don't really know why. It's just there. You think, is somebody promoting something or what's going on? But for whatever reason. Rachel Ray and how people feel about Rachel Ray is a topic right now. Eddie has very strong opinions about Rachel Ray. Handstander. In fact, I've said this before. Eddie talked me right out of Rachel Ray. I was a fan, and he said, dude, I don't think it's genuine. I think it's phony, this stuff. And then I couldn't see it the same way ever again. You're welcome. And so Rachel Ray went on Nightline. She went on ABC's Nightline. That's weird. I know. The only thing I make of it is, you know, Nightline wanted to seize the moment because they realized that for whatever reason, she's a hot topic right now. I guess. People are talking. She's very polarizing. That's true. You love her or you hate her? I do. Oh. And so, well, first of all, here she is talking about her endorsement. Oh, she's endorsing Dunkin' Donuts. Was endorsing Dunkin' Donuts?
Yes! We win! That was a question. She ate the company out of all the profits. Leave her alone. I don't care if it's me. She is, I believe, still endorsing Dunkin' Donuts, but that's unclear to me. I don't know. But here she is talking about Dunkin' Donuts. There have been a few rough spots for the girl next door. Her ads for Dunkin' Donuts for once. Delish. Do you regret doing the Dunkin' Donuts thing? I do not regret Dunkin' Donuts because Dunkin' Donuts got rid of all their trans fats. They came to me and they said, we want to make healthier food for America. You drink a lot of coffee. You grew up on Dunkin' Donuts. Have a cup of Dunkin' Donuts on us. They gave their support and their money to Yummo. They've been very... I can't. Oh my God. I cannot. Does anyone know? I don't know what it is. I don't know. Foundation? Charity. Okay. I'm all for charity. Even if it's called Yummo? That's the issue. Okay. I'm all for charity. We got to call it Yummo? Is that the... I mean, okay. All right. That's fine. That's fine. Anything to... Very supportive of me. I don't regret a thing.
I do eat a warm donut occasionally. I especially enjoy a cider donut when I'm apple picking. What? And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. So when Chef Anthony Bourdain says that this was evil on your part and this was like... He did? Oh, yeah. Yeah, dude. He said it was evil and that she was peddling... Peddling crack to kids. Peddling crack to kids? What? It was like peddling crack to kids? I love it. What? Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee is like crack. Is it? Oh, man. I'll have like four large ones. Well, first of all, she's not. The audience isn't kids, is it? The audience for coffee, I'm thinking, is adults. They have. Is Dale Earnhardt Jr., well, back in the day when he was still a Bud sponsor, was he peddling it to kids? I mean, I thought it was an adult beverage. Well, I think maybe they're saying that maybe Rachel Ray was like somehow, you know, like speaking to kids or something. Well. You know, I would go the opposite way. I'd say, you know, donuts is a food that kids like love, you know. So anybody who's promoting donuts in a way is, you know, for kids. But I'd say the argument is the opposite. Rachel Ray. Donuts are for kids. Is that what you're saying? Well, kids love donuts is what I'm saying. But I'm saying Rachel Ray is speaking. Her audience is adult women, in my opinion. Her audience isn't kids. Probably. And all I remember about those Dunkin' Donuts ads is that it was her drinking that coffee.
The Dunkin' Donuts coffee. I never saw her with a donut in her hand. It was all about that coffee. Yeah, well, their coffee, I mean, anything outside of just the regular brewed coffee is pretty whack. Yeah, as a dessert in itself. I'm just trying to find the connection where he's going, you're doing this to kids, blah, blah, blah. I think it's like if you do a cigarette ad. Even though you're not specifically talking to kids. Kids are seeing it. They're impressionable. Joe Camel. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's one of my faves. I just don't know if kids are really like, Hooray! I think Anthony Bourdain was also just... I think he hates Rachel. Yeah. I absolutely love Tony Bourdain. I have a enormous amount of respect for him. It's a free country. And quite frankly, without me explaining my mindset, I think that that's a very fair thing he said. And I have no problem with it. Wow. That's taking the high road. But I mean, how can you have no problem with that? Someone saying you're peddling crack. Listen, you know, maybe she's saying, hey, dude's got a right to his opinion. OK, whatever. Maybe. I mean, I don't necessarily I don't agree with him. I don't think that she's peddling crack. And I don't think it's like peddling crack any more than I think that if somebody was doing a commercial for, you know, like a fast food place that they're.
killing kids and selling them crack and blah blah. It's okay to eat donuts, you know. It's not okay to eat 40 donuts. It's okay to eat a donut though. It's alright. Alright, I have to ask you about those pictures. Which ones? Those, the sexy ones. Oh, my God. These are old pictures, by the way. She's a lot. She is a lot. Bring it. I don't know. She's a lot. You're on Nightline. She's very polarized. I want her to, like, cough. I want her to, like, clear her throat and then talk. You love her or you hate her? I like her, but right now it's, like, really hard for me to hear this. When FHM called, I thought it was food and home. I didn't even know what FHM was. Clear your throat. This magazine. Well, you know she's got, like, an issue with that throat, right? No, I know, but it's, like, I thought that you said she got it fixed. I think she did. Because it's very distracting. Well, hey, listen, I'll tell you this. I think it used to be about ten times worse.
Literally, I think it was like... Seriously, I think it was like, you know, it was a pretty cookie monster before. It's not much better. As young as 17, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don't belong to any even remote club of theirs. And I thought, if I'm gutsy enough to do this, this is a good thing. For everybody. This is the every woman. Here she is. I wouldn't change a thing. I'd do it again tomorrow. Now, I heard your mother told you not to do it. My mother was furious. Remains furious. You don't have to do that kind of trash to do what you do. You don't need to sell yourself that way, blah, blah, blah. And I was proud of it. And I would do it again, even though my mom would really be mad at me. I know she still loves me. See, the thing that I do like, I like the self-deprecation.
And I like that she doesn't... At least she says she doesn't take herself too seriously. That he doesn't believe he's talking me into it. You watch any of the... Pause, pause, pause. Pause. Go ahead. Well, they do, you know, sometimes they do stuff on the Food Network where they show you, like, behind-the-scenes stuff. Oh, yeah. Or, like, chefography, you know, all this stuff. And she's, like, a different human being off-camera. You know, when they're not... She's not filming a show. Really? Yeah, dude. She's real serious and doesn't look like all fun and bubbly. Wow. It just, you know. Here she's talking about the people that don't like her. For all of her real girl down-home humor, for all of her success, she does have her detractors. Really? What? Does it hurt your feelings a little bit? No. I don't understand it, Skye. It's a lie. She's a phony. Why do you lie liar? I don't understand. It can be explained to me. As I'm saying this, I know it can be explained to me. And I'll say, okay, I understand. I think that people think, and certainly Rachel Ray thinks, that if you say it doesn't bother you, then it'll stop. And I'm here to tell you that when people say things about, I've been doing this for 20 years. And when people say cruel and mean things, it hurts.
It hurts me. It hurts my feelings. And so, listen, you know, maybe that does work for her. It's not worked for me. It really doesn't. It doesn't. I mean, why should it? They have their right, their opinion. And quite frankly, much of what they say is true. It's been quoted to me in interviews. I mean, I don't go home and read it, but people certainly have fun reading it to me. I mean, yeah, I have a ridiculous voice. I don't make my own pierogies. Who does enjoy reading it to her? Oh, oh, oh, interviewers. Interviewers. Yep, when she's in an interview, they say, it says here that you don't make your own pierogies. What is a pierogi? How do you respond? I don't know. She goes, I don't know what a pierogi is. I can't bake. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They're all right. I mean, you know, how am I going to fight them? Am I going to call them up or, you know, hey, you like me or else? It's a ludicrous argument. Ridiculous. Man, sometimes I feel like I'm right in the middle. I've been sitting here saying you love her, you hate her, and sometimes I'm like, I don't know. I'm not sure. No, I'm just okay with it. You can't stand it. I'm in the middle. No, you're not. I'm in the middle, too. Stop it. Did you guys know Tom Cruise is threatening to sue a t-shirt company? Of course he is. What? Big on the Chargers is on the trading block. Oh, my God. I don't know if I care. What?
Everybody panic. What? Eddie's going to tell you about it in the sports theory. You better strap in. And should he be? And should he be? That's the question. You know, maybe when you hear it, you're going to be, you're going to be, you're going to try to be in your mind. You're going to try to be balanced and fair. And you're going to go, okay, makes sense to me. We'll see. Next. Have you been to Arby's lately? Listen, it's Boston Rob. And I want to tell you about. The new Arby's roast burger. It's tender, and it's on this hamburger roll, and you can get it done any way you want. The bacon in blue is what I had. It's this peppered bacon. It is the real deal bacon. When I was a kid, no supervision. I just, I wasn't supervised and I was free to watch whatever I wanted. Eddie. Yes, Mike, I have a gambling problem. No. Skies. I mean, we all know internally. Boston Rob. I'm a catch. Come on, mate. I have three. Gotta get get. Gotta get get. Gotta get get. What is this, Rob? Black Eyed Peas. Yeah, the brand new stuff, dude. Yeah, but dude. Album? Yeah, well, it's not out yet, but this is the first single on the upcoming album. That sounds cool. I have yet to get that TI album, and I need to, because I like the way that sounded, too.
Where's Fergie? She's coming, bro. Dude, that's real good. Oh, there we go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There she is. There's our girl. I love that. I love that. That computer thing. I want to get one of those so I can do it in my songs. We should put that on every one of our microphones with a button, and when we want to, we can just be like. I feel like my March. Original song? Yeah. Oh, you're doing a March song? I would like to. You're going to do a song for March? March Madness.
I wouldn't. All right. Tom Cruise is threatening to sue a T-shirt company. Is it because of a gay thing? No. He sues about everything gay. Yeah. Surprisingly, this time it's not. This one is a weird one. And I don't know why this T-shirt company came up with this idea. But they have like this line of addict T-shirts like, you know. A-D-D-I-C-T? Yeah. Yeah. It's addictiontea.com. And basically on the front, it'll say something like in the Tom Cruise case, it'll say sex addict. addict and then on the back it'll say something else and so basically their plan was to use a picture of tom cruise photoshopped wearing a one of their shirts that says sex addict on the front and on the back it says everything turns me on which is just weird out of all their shirts that one like why why Yeah. Why? Yeah. And so Tom Cruise's lawyer somehow got wind of this and has issued a letter saying that, you know, if you use his image, you know, we will, you know, take legal action. Well, yeah. Against you. This one I'm down with. I mean. They just need to hire one of those impersonators. Yeah. And so a spokesperson for the t-shirt company says. Female impersonator?
Yes. Like Eliza. You know, like the one of those guys that does like Liza Minnelli. You know what I mean? And so the t-shirt company says they've now been inspired by Tom Cruise to create a new t-shirt that on the front says legal addict and on the back says I sue everybody. That's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. Now, with the Tom Sports stories of the day, it's the Sports Dirt with Eddie. Eddie. Well, I kind of briefly mentioned this yesterday, but the Coast Guard found one of the four men who were lost at sea. The two NFL players that have been missing have not been found yet. What happened was apparently these men went out on a fishing trip for the weekend. Their boat was overturned. It was capsized by a large wave in rough waters. And this one guy had a life vest on, and he was able to hold on to the boat the entire time. The other three were separated from the boat and, you know, have not been found. Oh, my gosh. Well, do you think that they had life preservers or anything? The one guy that was rescued, they said for sure did. I have not read anywhere that the other guys had them on.
A large wave just kind of comes and takes you. They don't have time. That's what it sounds like to me. The one guy is in serious condition, but he's okay. He was obviously dehydrated, stuff like that, but he's going to be fine. They're still looking for the other guys, but I don't know. They're talking about hypothermia now at this point and things like that. It's been a long time. Not good. Big signing in the NFL, wide receiver T.J. Hushmanzada. Championship. He signed a five-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. Wow. I just felt like it was the best destination. It was the best team. It was the best choice for me. It just felt right. You know, I went there, and I like Coach Moore. Matt Houselbeck, he welcomed me, and I look forward to it. You know, I will say I'm kind of fortunate. I'm lucky. I played with a great quarterback in Carson, and I get to go play with another great quarterback in Matt Hasselbeck. And Seattle has been successful year in and year out. They had a down year last year, but you look consistently over the last five or six years, and they've been the winner of that division. T.J. Houshmazood, Eddie. Houshmazood. How's he doing, Seattle? Probably pretty well. Yeah? Yeah, probably pretty well. You know, Matt Hasselbeck, you know, the...
He's a good quarterback, and the wide receiver position in Seattle has just been snakebit. Those guys get injured a lot, and weird things happen to them. It's kind of like being the drummer for Spinal Tap. That's so true, dude. It's so true. But I think Hushmanzada will help him out quite a bit. He's already won in the ponytail category. That's right, baby. Got the coolest, longest ponytail on the team. You know it. The Redskins have cut Dancing with the Stars. Defensive end Jason Taylor. Oh, no. Yeah. He chose not to participate in their offseason workouts, which they didn't appreciate. Right. And so they cut him. Wow. So Jason Taylor is now out there on the market. So he's been a great player and known as a great player. Yeah. For the first time, though, kind of last year, he was injured and didn't really help the Redskins out very much. Probably. Yeah. pulled cha-cha. Why would somebody choose not to participate? Don't they know that's bad for them? He lives in Miami and obviously the practice facility is in Washington and he didn't want to... Are you laughing because I'm still laughing at cha-cha? Yeah, it's ridiculous. It's really sophomoric. It's like I'm a child. Yeah, it's like I'm a child.
I'll be honest about that. He said he would rather spend time with his family than travel to Washington. But that's your job, bro. They call it voluntary workouts. It's not voluntary. He had the right to not do it, but if you don't, then you're not going to be popular with your team. Running back Derek Ward, formerly of the New York Giants, signed a four-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's going to be their new starting running back. And the Chargers, Let's talk about this. Let's get into it. Let's talk. Let's talk. Well, first of all, their former quarterback, cornerback, Drayton Florence, they're in talks with him about re-signing him. He played for Jacksonville? Yeah, they caught him. He played one year with Jacksonville and they caught him. And so the Chargers are talking about re-signing Drayton Florence, which means... What do you think of that? Do you like Drayton Florence? I think Drayton Florence is a decent... Nickelback at this point in his career. Better than Chad Kroger, I'll tell you. Wow, I didn't expect that. I should have thought much more in the future. Rumors have it that now Antonio Cromartie is on the trading block. What? Uh-uh. Uh-uh. Uh-uh, dude. Relax. Breathe. That's not fair to say to me. Before you react.
Let me give you the pros and cons about this. There's no pros. Antonio Cromartie had a bad season last year. Yeah. He had a very bad season. Okay. And he's coming up in free agency, so he's going to be expecting a huge deal. Yeah. The Chargers are not going to be able to sign everybody. They have Phillip Rivers they have to sign. They have Sean Merriman they have to sign. They have Marcus McNeil they have to sign. Eddie, if he goes to another team and plays at the level he did the season before this last one, it'll make me sick. I'll be sick to my stomach. It'll be so gross if that happens. Recognize that last year they drafted with their number one draft pick, Antoine Cason. And he's only going to get better. And he had a decent rookie season. So if you can save money and not sign Antonio Cromartie and plug... Kayson in as the starter next to Quentin Jammer, and then signed Drayton Florence as your third cornerback, that's a pretty good backfield. That's a pretty good defensive backfield. Now, obviously, I would want to keep Antonio Cromartie. The guy's got unlimited potential. He's got crazy ability. But, you know, you have to kind of pick and choose.
who this team is going to sign. If you ask me, would you rather sign Sean Merriman or Antonio Cromartie? I'm taking Sean Merriman. Would you rather sign Phillip Rivers or Antonio Cromartie? I'm taking Phillip Rivers. Any of those big stars, I get it. It's difficult. You can't sign everybody. And the way you explain it, you're like, I get it. And if you can get a number one draft pick for Antonio Cromartie, I would have to consider that. I would have to consider that. See, see, see. Oh, no. Breathe first and then speak. This is assuming that this Antonio Cromartie that we saw this last season is the Antonio Cromartie we're going to get, which I don't believe. He had a hip injury for most of the season. I think that Antonio Cromartie had some growing pains. I think that, you know, he kind of, after his huge season two years ago, kind of believed. the hype and believed that he was better than most people thought or that, you know, he believed his own headlines is what I'm trying to say. And I think that he was humbled. And I think that when the Brandon Marshall game where Brandon Marshall caught like 18 passes against him, I think that kind of like opened his eyes a little bit and was like, wow, you know, maybe I need to actually work at this a little bit. And I think he improved as the season went on. Plus his injury, I'm sure, improved a little bit too.
I think Antonio Camardi is still going to be a high-level player. So it is a very scary risk if you want to trade as somebody like that. Yeah. Look at this, Eddie. We're getting text messages. Textmikey at gmail.com. Crazy to see. Eddie, please get rid of Camardi. I'm sure you remember all those 15-yard penalties he racked up and how many of those were INTs and how many of those INTs were for touchdowns. Well, he, you know, the thing about Cromartie last year that really kind of bothered me was how many dropped interceptions he had. You know, this is a guy that, you know, picked off something like eight balls two years ago. And, you know, he's claiming he's going to have like 15, you know, last year. And you're like, whoa, dude, you know, calm down, first of all. And second of all, you know, when they're hitching the hands, at least catch them. So, you know, I think that, you know. It would be great if we can keep Antonio Cromartie, but if not, I'm not going to be too upset about it. 570-1053 is our number if you want to call and comment on it and text us. You've got the busy back up there on the South 15th. El Norte Parkway through Weskin Theater down to Via Rancho Parkway. No worries out of the east county westbound into the city. The 805 northbound just a brief glitch towards the Prairie Avenue. Overall, not a bad ride so far. The board will wait just over an hour in San Ysidro. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Copulate with a girl, too. Okay. I told you that there is a website that I want to tell you about where it goes up. My tax dude told me about this. Really? Yeah, and he said he's been using it, and it works real good.
And I went on there and checked some stuff out, and it does, man. You know, we got the twins coming, and so I got to move my office. And so I want to get some stuff for the office, right? Yeah. And so I just typed in, you know, like 25-inch or 37-inch, between 25 and 37-inch TV. It comes back and it shows you all these different websites with different prices and it shows you a picture of the product. There's a picture with every product. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's called frugal.com. They did it with Google. So you spell it the same way that Google does. Oh, two O's. Yeah, two O's. F-R-O-O-G-L-E dot com. That's awesome. Yeah, it's pretty cool because, you know, you type in, I don't know, whatever it is you want. Curtains. Curtains. Okay, let's do that right now. Let's try that one. Sammy ate mine. And I'm not kidding. You should see my curtains right now. They're safety pinned together because Sammy ate them. Sammy is Ashley's unfortunate looking dog. She's not unfortunate looking. Let's be honest here. Curtains. Look at this. Instantly you get a bunch of pictures of curtains. $14.99.
$69.99, $70, $79.99, $165.99, $44.99. Sold, buddy. Back down to the $14.99. $34.99. Mommy can play with that. Yeah, dude. It's a cool website, man. I just want to tell listeners about it because I thought it was cool. That's awesome. It took me so long. I used to do that. I would compare and go to any store that I was going to go to, go on the website, and compare every price. And that took forever. especially when I would forget the price, so I'd have to keep clicking back and forth. Yeah, right? Yeah, and the worst thing for me was that I didn't really know where to go, you know? So I would just type it in, and I would just... Like, I know a few, like, okay, go to Amazon, maybe go to Target. And I would do that. I would do that and try to figure it out. That's cool. When do we talk about the breastfeeding mom? That was driving. Yesterday. Dude, I think we talked about it way later in the show, so people may not have heard it. But there was this lady in Ohio with her cell phone and her kid on her lap breastfeeding. Baby's got to eat. Baby's got to eat. Baby's hungry. Baby's hungry. I guess so. Baby, crack it at. What is that? I don't know. You don't know what that is? I think that was clipped from the news story. Oh, I didn't realize that that's what that was. I thought she was just.
talking for herself like I did. Oh, no, no. I thought she was referring to herself as a baby. Oh, you thought that she was calling herself a baby and she was hungry? Yeah. Maybe that was a deal. Rob, throw her a chicken bone in. That's right. Move on. So anyway, did I miss anything with that story, Sky? No, yeah. The lady says she faces charges of child endangerment for driving while talking on her cell phone and breastfeeding her baby at the same time. Yeah. Whoa. I'm going to get that, Eddie. Hi, guys, it's Barbara calling in. Barbara? Oh, hey, Babs. Yes, that's right. It's your friendly neighborhood black woman calling in. Well, I mean, that's still unproven. Oh, yeah, I was just a little irritated with the fact that Mikey didn't sort of mention the fact that the woman in question was African-American. Well, I mean, are we even sure that's true? Well, it's absolutely true. It's absolutely true. Here's what y'all don't understand. First of all, y'all have never lived like I've lived, okay? I can speak to this as a black woman growing up in Rancho Bernardo. Not living in Rancho Santa Fe, by the way. Yeah, well, I definitely not live there. But just listen to y'all, okay? Stop talking like that. You know that as a black woman I can speak on this, okay? In the hood, okay, first of all.
Eddie, stop it. You're such a hater. How's that the hood? It was the roughest side of Rancho Santa Fe. There is no such thing. Yes, there is. You're a nut, lady. Check it out. Yes, there is, Eddie. Okay. In the hood, we know how to multitask, okay? What do you mean? I mean, I'm driving right now while doing my taxes, painting mama's toes and drinking a 40. Multitask. Yes, Eddie. I think painting the toes is more dangerous than drinking a 40 right now. Well, all of it sounds bad, Sky. That's bad. It's called multitasking. Okay, Barbara, just stop. I was talking to my best friend, Gail, the other day, and she was like, oh, girl. She was all, you are so much cooler than my other friend Oprah. Wait, hold on.
Hold on. You are not friends with Gail, Oprah's best friend. Yes, I am. Gail is to my friend. She is. Barbara? And she told me in confidence that Oprah's too preachy and that I'm much better as a friend. I don't believe that that happened. Gail would not say that. Do you hear that, Oprah? Stop. Can you hear me, Oprah? You are not in competition with Oprah. I'm talking to your face, Oprah. Stop. Barbara and how? I don't know why you're doing that. Let me hear you. I understand. I understand how this whole story. I get it. I get it. It's dangerous. Well, yeah, but it's also necessary sometimes. No, it's never necessary. You should pull over if you're going to do something like that. Eddie, I have personal experience with this when I was a child. What do you mean? What I mean is mama's had me nursing until I was 12s. Okay, that's weird. I don't believe that's true. I was nursing until I was 12s. And when you got to eat, you got to eat. You understand what I'm saying? First of all, no, I don't. Yes, you do. No, I don't. You understand full well what I mean. I do not.
Listen to me. That's your girl, Eddie. No, this is Ashley's girl. Eddie is my boy, and I am his girl. Eddie is my boy, and I am his girl. Ashley, talk to her. Listen to me. What? I got a ticket once for driving. Really? While having my 5 o'clock cocktail. What? No, again. I mean, it varies against the law. Drinking and driving is dangerous. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's not like that. It was legit. Like what? What I mean is it was 5 o'clock and it was my cocktail of prescription drugs. Oh, that's even worse. Which is different. No, no, no. Totally different. Totally legal. Totally legal. It's not legal. Yes, it is. No. And what happened was. Shrimp cocktail maybe, but. No. This officer pulled me over because he saw me weaving a little bit. Uh-huh. Okay. It's bad. You try driving while trying to open five different pill bottles while talking on a cell phone.
While merging on the 805 from the 5. While trying to do yours and nails. Hello? You're slurring, Barbara. Am I? You're really slurring. Do you have this 5A some cocktail? They should really make these bottles easier to open. Oh, I don't think that is Barbara. Did you fall? I just fell asleep. Are you guys still there? Yes, we are still here. Eddie. What? Listen to me. This is Barbara. I'm black. That's your girl. That is your girl. Listen to me. That's your girl. Listen, I'm driving the other night, right? And I realized that I hadn't updated my Twitter in a minute, so I grabbed my computer from the backseat. I got on the internet. I got on the internet while driving. Barbara. And then, boom, you're status. Just like that. No, not do that. You want to know what I wrote? No. You want to know what my status said? Yes, please. I'm following you. My status said, and I quote. I'm reading from it right now. Merging without looking. Stay out of the fast lane if you're not doing 80. Goodbye. That's what my status said. That's a good message. That's what my status said. And then I figured while I was on the internet, I should set my TiVo, so I recorded the all-new Road to Redemptions right from my phone while driving on the 5, doing my nails.
You should be paying attention to the road. Working with five different pill bottles, talking on the cell phone. Okay, that's a lot. Oh, by the way, that show Road to Redemption? Yeah. Lovers. Really? See, that is your girl. Okay, no. Yeah, she is your girl. Y'all. What? Check this out. So the other day, I'm cruising for my homies, and I saw the dopest sunset ever, and mommy wanted a picture, right? Yeah. Okay, because I want to use it for my MySpace, so. I'm on the highway, couldn't pull over, so I broke out my camera phone, and I just started snapping away. And I got my arm out the window, and I'm just snapping the pictures away as I'm driving along here. Very dangerous. And then I thought to myself that I needed a new picture for me and my profile, so I turned the phone around, and I just started snapping the pictures away. No, that's bad. These are bad things. You want to know something about those pictures, guys? Yeah, what? Lovers. Okay. It was a lover's sunset. Oh, boy. Did you guys know one time I was driving Daddy's old T-Bird, and I was just minding my own business? No, who's Daddy? My actual father. I don't know. My mama's daddy, and I was the mom driving, right? Your mama's daddy. And I'm minding my own business.
And I'm driving down these dark alleys in the most dangerous parts of Rancho Bernardo with my windows down. And I'm bumping my jams, right? It was T.I. And all of a sudden, Eddie, some... street gang came gunning for me. Wow! Yes, it was. They were called the Arby's. Arby's? That's what my grandma's country club is called. No, wait a minute. I think you're right. It was the Arby's. It was a little league team. And they were sponsored by Arby's. Oh, see? That's different. Anyway, these thugs, right? They're gunning for me. And you'll never believe this, but I swear it's true, Eddie. What? These hood rats shot at mama. But I stopped their bullets dead in their tracks with my weave. It's the truth. Don't you deny me. It's a true story. It was so crazy, Eddie. It was straight tripping. You're big! You're big!

Now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. One of the only times I was ever in shape in my life was when I was a freshman in high school, you know? Eddie. I love Wookiees. Sky. I don't know. Wait, wait. Boston Rob. What would you do for your Red Sox? I would do anything. And Ashley. I didn't even go to San Diego State. I did. I practically graduated. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Now, stuff that matters to you. This is The Mikey Show 360. This is making news. And what I mean by that is it's making actual news. I have been waiting all morning for it. I got to tell you, I don't watch the show, and even I'm interested. Oh, I haven't watched the show all season, and I heard about this, and I need to know. This is one of the craziest things probably to happen on TV. What? You know that show The Bachelor? Yeah, I watch it every week. Did you watch last night? Of course not. It's on past seven. Ashley! Check it out. You know how dude...
He has 26 girls to choose from and he picks one and then he finally asks her, you know, sometimes he says, you know, I really want to get to know you better and I'd like this opportunity to really get to know you. In lieu of saying, will you marry me? Most of the time he proposes. Yeah, he gets on one knee and he's like gone out and he's chosen this big, beautiful diamond ring and most of the time he proposes marriage, right? Yeah. Okay. So the guy he chooses. Oh, who'd he pick? He picked. He did not pick Molly. Molly was first runner up. He didn't pick Molly. Now, check this out, you guys. I don't know what that means. I don't know who Molly is. I haven't watched the show. I don't know who she is. I don't know any of that. But trust me on this one. If you've never seen this show, follow me here. Don't leave me. I'm going to pay off on this. I'm about to tell you some crazy stuff. Crazy. First, just to set it up, okay? Okay, what do we got? Just to set it up, let's listen to the proposal. Melissa. You do not. He's proposing to someone named Melissa. It doesn't matter that you don't know who she is. It doesn't matter that you know that he didn't pick someone named Molly. It don't matter. Please stick with me. What you're going to hear is crazy. You're the happiest man. What did she say? What did she say? She said. Is that her?
I guess so. Yeah. Wow. That's her. Will you marry me? You want to marry me? I'd love to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you. What do you say? That is so sweet. Well, of course, of course. That is so sweet. Now, let me tell you that, you know, before we go any further, I think that these shows are a little creepy because, man, you're getting to know somebody two months in your proposing marriage, right? Well, that's why none of them ever work. None of them ever work. I mean, there's been one successful one. Yeah. So after they do that, they do this thing called After the Rose, where they bring them all together. Ashley, you better put your seatbelt on, kid. This is crazy what you're about to hear. This has never happened. I have to tell you that in the preview, they said because this was so unusual and so crazy that they decided to have a closed set and not have a studio audience. I'm really glad you said that.
I'm really glad you said that because knowing that there was a studio audience there would have really bothered me. Yeah, it would be creepy. I think Ashley kind of gets what's going on. You still don't get what's going on? Listen to this. You know, I came here to find, in my whole life, find somebody like Melissa. And she is incredible, sweet, beautiful. Melissa's the woman he proposed to. And everybody's been watching. And I lived it. Since this all ended, things have been different. We're not right for each other. Oh. The girl that he picked. It's not right. We've spent a lot of time together. I mean, we spent some time afterwards in New Zealand together. We've had a couple of trips together. We spent all the holidays together. And as easy and as beautiful and wonderful as we all just saw and how I lived it, since then the chemistry has been completely different. And I started trying to think of why it was in me. And I did a lot of soul searching and digging with inside me.
And for that love and passion to not be there just breaks my heart. What does she know? We talk whenever we need to talk. And obviously we don't see each other every day because we live in different cities. But she knows things feel completely different for me. Now, this hasn't gotten too weird yet. It's kind of weird. Dude's having a little bit of second thoughts, right? He's just not, you know, blah, blah, blah. Over the last few weeks, I've been able to stop thinking about Molly. The other chick, first runner-up. Douche. For Melissa's sake, for our relationship's sake, but I can't. I'm doing all I can to make this work with Melissa, but I can't control how I'm feeling. The real, honest, true feelings, and I wish they weren't there. I played that moment over and over again in my head when I had to let Molly go, and I was crushed beyond belief. I knew I was making the right decision at that moment in my life, but as soon as she left...
I felt like a piece of me was gone. A huge piece of me. Right. This is weird. I hadn't known before that this is creepy. That made me a better person. That made me alive. Oh, man. So you're telling me that you're still in love with Molly? You're so stupid and gross. You want to hear him tell Melissa that he wants to break up? Dude, on TV? Dude. I've been talking a lot. Oh, dude. Now, before anybody says Mikey, Don't be wallowing in their misery, in her misery. This is in the news today. It's making news that he did something so crazy. It's not like you set her up. In our conversations, you know, over the last couple of weeks have been how things are different. I feel like things are different. I think we both just watched and saw everything that we've been through, which every single moment of that experience for me was true. I completely fell in love with you.
And I knew on that last day that I wanted to give you everything. Give you my life. I wanted to give everything you deserved. I feel like things are different. And you spent all the holidays together. And throughout that time, it seemed to me that the chemistry started changing. I came here to find somebody to spend the rest of my life with. And we're not right for each other. There is... Oh, my God. There is... There is 0% chance that there's any way that this can be explained to a chick and it's going to be all right. On national TV, please. I've never heard of this. Sorry, picked the wrong girl, want this girl, going for this girl. And I'm waiting until now to tell you on TV. I'm not having a private conversation with you prior to this or anything. And Ashley, doesn't this trip you out being that this guy...
was on The Bachelorette and was the runner-up and had his heart crushed. That's why all the women fell in love with him and wanted him to be The Bachelor. Now he's doing this? Really? I don't understand it. His big thing was, I have a son and I have to have a stable woman in my life for a son, not like a revolving door of chicks. Really? What I realized is I was falling for two people at the same time. Well, dude, how is that different from any of the other ones? Right. That's what they all do. That's what they all do. At the exact same time. And maybe I wasn't the right person to come and do all this because I didn't think that there was any capacity in the world to fall for two people at the same time. I do still have feelings for Molly. Have you been talking to her? No. Over these last few weeks when I started thinking about her. I try to get it out of my head because that was the right thing for us. I try to clear my head and say, you know what? Forget it. This poor chick. This is so uncomfortable. This is so uncomfortable. What a douche. I'm here with Melissa. That's it. It doesn't matter what happened in the past. I'm here only to focus on Melissa. Because you chose Melissa. Because I chose Melissa. Yes. She is Melissa, right? Yes. I love the third person. You should never do third person. I love it. It doesn't work really.
I love it. Mikey thinks that's weird. Is what I was trying to do. But you don't want to fight for Melissa. Stop referring to yourself. The character Melissa from The Bachelor. Fight for her. Don't call yourself Melissa if you're Melissa. But I can't control my head. You don't want to fight for Melissa. You put a ring on Melissa's finger. You told Melissa you loved her and wanted to spend the rest of your life with her. But you don't want to fight to see if that can work. Melissa. No, I don't. No, I'm good. I'd rather have the other one. What's her name? Let me tell you. Molly. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. This is the death throes of a relationship. What do they call that? The death? The death nail? Yeah, yeah. The pickle patch. Now, every single one of us, every single one of us been in this position before where somebody's telling us that they're breaking up with us and we...
are trying to talk them out of it. We're like, don't you want it? Don't you think it's worth, you know, just giving it a little bit more? And like, when you're able to look at it objectively later, you realize, dude, it isn't going to matter. Yeah, you're already at the point of no return. You're not going to talk them into it at this point. And you shouldn't have to. Yeah, you know, and if you're successful in talking them into it, it's only because they're a people pleaser. And they're being guilted. And they're being guilted into it. But it's never going to be. Like, because, play this out, Melissa, that he goes, yeah, you're right. Maybe I should fight for you. Is it going to be a normal relationship? Dude just told you he digs the other chick. It's never going to be normal. You're done. It's over. You're done. Because you're having doubts over someone else who you already said goodbye to. Every dude listening right now is like, I've had this conversation before. I wish I could control what I was feeling. If life was that simple, I would do that. I would give you the world because you deserve all of that. If I can control my heart and my head in a second. You know what chicks hate when they're getting broken up with?
the guy telling them how awesome they are. You deserve the world. You know what? You are the most beautiful girl. You deserve someone better than me. Shut up. I'm so beautiful and I deserve so much better than you. All that stuff, so much to the point that you can't wait to hop into this other chick. Right? This other chick relationship. Let's see. I think the worst thing in the world is to live your life with regrets. You were exactly what I was looking for when I came...
Word of advice. Yes. I'm going to give a word of advice. Yeah, exactly. I'm going to give a word of advice to any human being, not just man, but woman. Don't go on The Bachelor. Yes, Eddie. Point number one. Okay, that's point number one. Okay, before I make point number two, that's point number one. Don't go on The Bachelor. Okay, point number two, and this is for men or women. When you are breaking up with somebody, short and sweet. Less is more. Less is more. Absolutely. Short and sweet. Less is more. The more you talk, the worse it gets. Dig, dig, dig. Yes. The more you talk, the worse it gets. Short and sweet. We're not right for each other. That's the way I feel. I'm sorry. Peace. Not. You're so gorgeous. Yeah. You're so beautiful. Let me tell you. You're the greatest girl I've ever met. Right. I came here and I told you that. That's the whole truth. You hear that? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. She's so great. She's got to scratch her eyes out. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, oh, no, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I hate you. Yeah, yeah. Calling it, man. Mm-hmm. Learned a lot about myself over this last three months. I'm growing as a person too. Oh, dude, just stop. Shut up. I know. Shut up.
Shut your gunner mouth. Let me tell you, if that's my sister or my daughter, I'm wanting to... Oh, dude, Eddie just got bald as fizzed up. Oh, man. Okay, no more of that part. God is such a tool. When do they bring out the other girl? They tell this chick Molly, right? I love Molly. I didn't watch, but I heard, obviously, her heart was broken when she wasn't picked. Oh, I'm sure. You get the limo, you get the crying, whatever. Molly isn't sure how to react. You want to hear that? Yes. I mean, I'm very confused. Wouldn't it be great if she's like, I met this guy. I love that. I met this guy.
No, I'm good, but thank you. Oh, that is so nice of you. Really? Before I play the rest, I want to ask you guys percentage. Yeah. Percentage of Chance, he and Molly work out. Everything's great. They get married and everything's good. Percentage of Chance, Eddie. Well, hold on. Before we all jump to our reactions. Okay. I have to think to myself, I'm guessing she takes him back. Man, Rob is just shaking his head. I know. He's reacting. Freaking out. You need to listen. Freaking out. You know, she takes him back. Okay. And they're together. Okay. If she's that kind of a person that would take him back, she kind of has this in her to make him happy and make people happy and that kind of a thing. Well, what if she loves him? She probably loves him. Yeah. She wants it. It's all that. I think it would probably be 55% that it works out. Who are you? I don't know who he is. Who is that man? Who is that man? You live in Candyland. Candyland. Wow. Sky. Think about it. Oh, I don't like what you're saying. Okay, I heard you, bro. I'm thinking about it. I heard you. Oh, oh. Well, I mean, Eddie does bring up some good points about her being kind of a people pleaser if she goes along with this whole charade. She's in on it.
She loves it. Well, we don't know yet, but if she isn't on it, then... What girl doesn't love that some dude's like, you know what, I picked her, but then knew it was you. You were more powerful than any... A girl with self-esteem would say, you know what, buddy? Too bad, too late. But can't you make the argument that the girl with self-esteem says, I knew you'd come to your senses? I don't know. I don't know. Strokes her ego. Makes her feel wanted, loved, desired, more than. Sky, what's your answer? Okay, calm down, Rob. Rob's like, he's dying. He's chomping at the bit. He's like a greyhound about to come out of that thing and chase the rabbit around the track. I give it a 15% chance of a long-lasting marriage. Rob, percentage. This guy is going to get with this chick and after a few months going to realize that he messed up by dogging Melissa. And going with Molly. Dude, Melissa is a great girl. You know this? You watch the show? They used to date. Dude, listen to me. The two guys on the show watch The Bachelor. Eddie and Rob watch The Bachelor. And Sky does not. And Ashley, you do watch it? Yeah, and Ashley watches it. I don't watch it. But I like it. I think it's a good show. Ashley, percentage of chance it works out.
Rob, did you give your percentage? It's zero. My statement wasn't obvious enough. He's kind of a phony, and this dude doesn't know what he wants. He does not know what he wants. That is true. And that means? I give it six months. Percentage of chance it works out. I would say zero percent of chance it works out. I give it six months. That's my percentage. No, but I give it, I give zero percent, and then I would say six months it's done. Six months percent. I think we got a match here, guys. We got a match? Will you stop it? Jason and Molly. Grow up. Will you grow up? I love Molly. I think we still have a lot to talk about. That was uncalled for. That was uncalled for. It was uncalled for. But my feelings never went up. Are people in on this? 5701053. Is this interesting to you? This is beyond fascinating to me. Who cares? I need to hear what you said. You know, what I was feeling for you from the day that I left New Zealand until today, those feelings never went away. You know, I think we can see where things go. Oh, boy. And that's all I'm asking. This is something I dreamt of, but never expected to hear. This is every girl's dream, I think. Yeah, it is. I think it really is. For a guy.
To be showing you, I just couldn't do it without you. You were too important. Listen, I made the worst mistake. And you know what? Even though I knew the consequence was breaking somebody's heart, my feelings for you far outweighed that. Right. Every girl. Do we have a clip of him telling her, like, what happened? Like, what went down? And, like, he wants her back? Because that, to me, is really interesting. I like how he says that. I got it. You want to hear it? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. What you need to know that you don't know is that Melissa was out here earlier, and I ended things with her because I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. Oh. My heart hasn't let go. My head hasn't let go. My gut hasn't let go. Something inside of me felt right there, like kind of cheatery. You know, he's not. He's not cheating on anybody.
But some kind of mechanism inside of me just... I agree. Well, he was like mentally cheating, you know? Is that it? The whole time he said he was thinking of this other girl when he was with the first girl. How come he just didn't pick this chick from the beginning? Dude, that's what I don't get. Like, if it was so meant to be, like, there's something about him that I question. I agree. Yeah, because I, the whole season for sure thought he was going to pick this chick, Jillian, who was the third girl he got rid of. Yeah. third to last girl he got rid of and i was shaking his head no rob shaking his head no they didn't like her well most most my friends i talked to you like we all were like jillian like well no way because he has a son and he wanted somebody real stable and uh somebody that was really into kids and stuff like that and jillian was like this free spirit girl you know like you know totally not what not he was looking for no go and this is a crazy ridiculous day because i had to Heard a really great girl and say goodbye to her. Yeah, to destroy a great girl. On national TV. Yeah, yeah. Not hurt. Yeah. And I learned a lot about myself in the last several weeks. And I think that everything that I've been looking for, which I thought I had found at one point, I was wrong. So much of what I've been looking for, and I didn't even know it was right in front of my face. I think the most insincere things that I could do is...
jump real fast from one thing to another. But that's what I'm doing. I was hoping I could have a shot. But enough about that. Let's go out to coffee or a drink and see where things... Let's go out to coffee or for a drink. I want to know what he learned about himself. This is his theme of the whole segment that he's learned a lot about himself. What did he learn? What did he learn? Okay, here's me. I'll be him. I learned that you can't make rash decisions. I learned that... Well, do you know what rash decision means? Because he spent a lot of time with each girl. You're right. You know what I meant to say? What I meant to say was sometimes I need to learn to follow my heart and not my head. Because you're right.
I did. I thought so much about it. Yeah, but you said you fell in love with Melissa. I think I did. So then you followed your heart. I followed my head. I was talking myself into. Your head fell in love. I was talking myself into. Your head fell in love with Melissa? Yes. That doesn't make any sense. What I'm saying is I was talking myself into it. But my heart the whole time was with Molly. And so you see. I've learned so much. I think you've learned that you like a variety of women. Yeah. You learned that you're a player. I definitely learned that. You learned that you're a player. I definitely learned that. Text Mikey at gmail.com. P1 John. Yes, sir. How you doing, Mikey? Good, dude. I was just giving you a call and saying, you know, I kind of agree with you on the fact that... Breaking up with people is a much better, much faster way to go about it. But there's no woman in the world that's just going to let you say, hey, you know, I'd like to end it today and walk off and not do any talking back or anything. Well, let me tell you, John, I say that if she has questions for you, you answer them. But don't keep talking. Yeah, don't ramble. Oh, I totally agree. Short and sweet, and then question and answer.
You come out, you give your press conference, you do the presser, okay? You make your statement, and then I'll now field questions. Well, how could you do this? I'm sorry. It's the way that I feel. I think that you should at least give it a chance. I'm sorry I can't do that. Why? Because I know where I stand with this. Yes? Mikey, I love your show. I got to go, man. I'm coming up to a customer's house. Take care, buddy. Thank you, brother. Thank you very much. Wow. P1 Bopo. Yes. What's up? Okay, so you know how the last girl didn't choose him? Mm-hmm. So he decided that maybe because he didn't choose Molly, she's the second girl, you know? Maybe it's some, like, deep down psychological thing. He has regrets about not being the one chosen. So he's, like, projecting his own feelings about not being chosen onto Molly.
One time I was cheated on by a girl. And when I got out of the relationship, I wanted to hurt women emotionally. All women. It was in 1996. All women. And I got out of that relationship and I went into the dating world. And there were girls that I lost a ton of weight. And I was working out a lot and I got in shape and there were girls that liked me. And when I got into it. Remember I said I took advantage of somebody who was giving my testimony? Yeah. I said I took advantage. I did that to somebody. And I did it because I had been hurt. And I didn't do it like maybe I did. I was about to say I didn't do it purposefully. But maybe I did do it purposefully. Maybe I did do it because I was hurting. And somehow that was a way to relieve the pain that I was going through. Which is disgusting, wrong, and not cool. That's a really good point. Because he said on the show that he was kind of afraid of Melissa because those are the girls. Her type is the type that he was attracted to. And those type of girls always hurt him. So maybe he wanted to hurt her before she hurt him. That's awful. Wow. Man.
That's a really interesting point. Interesting. I've done that. Yeah. That's not right. And the reason why all the things changed is he probably was different with her. Yeah, he was. He was probably one way during the show, and then he probably maybe subconsciously just pushed her away, which changed the chemistry. Absolutely. Crazy, man. Is there any part of you guys that thinks it's all a sham? There's a part of me. There's definitely a part of me that thinks that. It's a part of me, too. Because The Bachelor has been on, what, like 10 seasons, something like that? Something like that. And, you know, there are times we talk about it. There's times we don't. We're really talking about it today because this is crazy. Now, this is a thing that could be concocted by the producers. P1 Brandon's on that train, right, Brandon? Yeah, how you guys doing? Good. I completely agree with you, Mikey. I think, you know, like Eddie just said, it's been on for 10 years. They need to do something about ratings. I mean, if the producers did not know this was going down, how do they know not to have a closed set when they want the audience there? Well, I'm sure they talk to them and stuff and, you know, find out what's going on. And they don't want the audience there because then it would leak if there was an audience there, you know? Yeah, but then the girl's like, oh, you're really choosing me? You know, you want to choose me?
I just think it was a setup, and they're just doing it for ratings, and exactly what you guys said. We haven't talked about it in a long time, and here we are all over the news. Definitely a possibility. Definitely a possibility. But guys are jerks, so that's a... Well, I'm just saying. It's an option. It's an option. It's an option. Wait till I tell you. There's a one in blank. One in blank. Wait till I tell you the number of how many adults are in our... Correctional institutions. One in blank.

Also, before we went to break, I said one in how many adults are in our correctional facilities? Skye, what is it? One. This is disgusting. One in every 31 American adults is in the correctional system, which is one in every 31. That's right. So that includes jails, prisons, probation, or supervision. That's a crazy number. We got one out of five here on the show. That's right. That's because of the weed laws. Yeah. So that's double the rate it was back in 1982 when it was one in every 77 adults. How about stop doing it? I wonder what would happen if you legalize it. Yeah, how about you legalize it? It's medical. Yep. It's medical. Coating?
Vicodin, Percocet, ethanol, oxycontin. Take it. Wait. I just, I wonder, I just wonder if you took all the pot cases out of it, what it would look like then. Yeah. I'd love to see that. I'd love to see that. Did you see that there was an asteroid speeding by the Earth the other day? Yeah. I thought I saw something. It had been like a megaton bomb. Yeah. What? This is a documentary about it. Landed on it. No, Eddie. That's okay. He had to drill. With his crew. I saw that dude on like National Geographic channel or something. Bruce Willis. I think that was TBS. It was one of those smart people channels. And they were talking about how this guy had a flyer. Was he talking to Billy Bob Thornton? Yeah. It was the same special, right? You saw it too. That's weird. This was actually in reality. And this is scary.
So this asteroid buzzed by Earth yesterday, but was only discovered last Friday. What? They didn't know it was coming until last Friday. And it was at an altitude of 40,000 miles away from the Earth. And it was 200 feet wide. So if it would have hit the Earth, it would have exploded. on the surface at a force equal to that of a large nuclear blast. Oh, my God. That's insane. An Australian astronomer. Wait. No, no, no. I like that one. No, you're all right. Astronomer. Astronomer. Work it out, dog. Saw it last Friday and was like, hey, did anybody know that there's this thing and it's coming really close to Earth? Where was he from? Australia. That's coming out today in the DVDs. It is? Australia? That's a big... Oh, Eddie, you probably just gave away what Sky... I just realized what I did. What Sky was going to give away. Oh, you just realized it. You just realized what you do every week. Every week. Snowmite. Well, the cat's out of the bag now. Oh, no. Oh, shoot. Oh. Oh, shoot. Whatever. Jerk. We get any updates on that crazy monkey that was ripping people apart? They put that thing down, right?
Yeah, well, when the cops came in, the cops shot the monkey because the monkey was, like, psycho-like. That's a Peter Gabriel song. Shot the monkey. Shot the monkey. Can you, like, be serious for one second? It's the truth, yeah. Eddie's saying something that's true. Okay. That's a true statement. In your face, guy. Right? Yeah, how about that? Isn't it shock the monkey? Oh, Eddie, I think it is shock the monkey. Eddie feels bad. Gosh darn it. I'm sure. I could have sworn that it was the other way. Yeah, you could have sworn. I'm sure. Here we go. When he first said it, I thought it was Shot the Monkey. It is. On the intro. DMV. I think their voices are very similar. It is not. Peter Gabriel? Yeah, yeah. Especially in that song, Space Between. He's always said that. It's stupid. I really feel like he sounds like the Peter Gabriel. Good though, Sky. Okay, anyway. So, yeah. Anybody ever been attacked by something weird? Oh. I got attacked by a squirrel. You did? You did not get attacked. I know what you're talking about. You didn't get attacked. No. Yeah, I did. No, he charged at you. Yeah. It was a kamikaze. It was a kamikaze squirrel that went right for me and I almost died. Eddie, you were on a bike, bro. He's coming right for us. You're on a bicycle. I was on a bicycle. I was on the sidewalk. How old were you? I think I was like...
Four, five. Thirteen or fourteen? Oh. I don't know why that's funny. And you were on a bicycle. Headed to 7-Eleven, pick up some new comics. And I was actually on... I don't know why that's funny. I was actually on my sister. Thirteen. Supposed to be banging chicks. Well, not banging them, but maybe kiss one or two. I know how you were. Maybe kiss one or two instead of riding your bike to buy some comics. Because they can't do both. Oh, shoot. Unbelievable, Skye. Kissing your comic of Wonder Woman doesn't count. First of all, that's a DC title. I don't read DC. I read Marvel. Oh, well, now I feel dumb. You're making it worse. So I just wanted to prove her wrong. And I think I did. I'm embarrassed. Anyway. 5701053 or text Mike at gmail.com. If you've been attacked by anything. Don't you want to hear the squirrel story? Eddie, you weren't attacked. I was attacked by a squirrel. Did it bite you? If it wouldn't have got close to me, I'm sure it would have. Right. But I was riding my sister's tail speed. Wait a second. Okay.
You're on your sister's head speed to buy comic books. Why is that bad? What color was it? It was blue. It wasn't like it was pink. I'm sure. And a bell. And a little basket. People are dying to hear this story. I am. I'm clamoring for it. Edge of their seats. I always wanted to ride that bike, and she finally let me, okay? Okay. It was a cool 10-speed. 10-speed, yeah. I had a rampart. A what? Look it up. Okay. So, he was on a 10-speed. Yeah. Please, Mike. I got this. Okay. I'm riding on the sidewalk. Right. Going to get your Bazooka Joe comics. Forget it. No! No! No! I'm sorry. They ruined it. These people here, they claim to be my friends. Hey, but P1s, you know he lives. Come on now. Now you go. That's true. Come on, Eddie. It's like when we had the guy in from Live to Tell. Like he was sitting in here and it was a crazy story, but it's like, but you're sitting there, bro. CBS will probably call me about this. About your squirrel story? Yes. Okay, please, continue. No, what happened? Are they going to get Bronson Pinchot to play the squirrel theme back up for me?
I need that thing. It should be on the themes page. Oh, I don't want it there. But I'll put it on the front page as well. Yay. Oh, boy. Well. So you're on the tent speed. No, no. It's not going to work this time. The wind in your hair. The wind in your hair. Here's the story. You're on the tent speed. Here's the story, ladies and gentlemen. The wind. in my head. The year was approximately 1986. Eddie was 13 years old. He was riding his sister's 10-speed that he always wanted to ride. It was just a 10-speed. It wasn't like a girl 10-speed. Why would I want to ride that? Eddie was going to get comic books. Oh my gosh. Except that on the way, as he was headed north, a squirrel was headed south. Now, this may seem normal at the moment, except they were on the same side of the road. So now Eddie finds himself in a situation on the way to 7-Eleven on his sister's blue bicycle to get comic books looking straight into the eyes of madness. A squirrel that could have been deranged, could have been rabid, is heading south.
People would be like, honey, never. Call your friends. This guy is going to get comics and there's a freaking crazy squirrel like heading for him. And like he may not be able to swerve. Babe, get in here now. I paused it. I paused it. Mention how he's on sister's 10 speed. Babe, this kid always wanted to ride his sister's 10 speed. And she finally left. Can you come here? You've got to see this. I paused it. Exactly. Exactly. Look, watch. It's coming back on. I was riding to the 7-Eleven, looking into the eyes of madness. We'll now go to his side of the story. So I was going at a pretty good rate of speed. To the left of me was houses. To the right of me was a street. I had no place to go. I figured at some point would see, you know, this large object heading towards him and move. But that squirrel, it was like a game of hell's chicken. Oh my. Into the last moment, thinking at any moment, a squirrel would. Call my brother. Tell him to turn it on. Tell him to turn it on. When I realized the squirrel was not going to move, I'd make a decision. What did he do?
And the decision was, I'm going to swerve. Craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. I could be so brave. Babe, do not delete this. Do not delete this. We're saving this. We got to show our grandkids. We got to show. Can we transfer this to DVD? We are getting people calling us right now with the weirdest things. I'm not done with the story. I wonder what happened. What happened? No. Well, I'm not familiar with the 10-speed, so. It was different. I mean, I think if I were on my rampart. I want a video recreation. Yes. Of him at this age. Of him at 30. We'll dress Rob up as a squirrel. I'm tiny enough. That was uncalled for. And then we'll get some girl to let us borrow her 10-speed.
Whatever color, because it's still in dispute. It really was. It's blue. And then, uh-huh, uh-huh. Oh, my God. It wasn't a girl's 10-speed. It was a 10-speed that my sister owned. So, at the moment I decided to swerve, I was able to maneuver my way into where the driveway began from the street. And as I turned into this... entrance to the driveway there were giant pillars that were at the entrances of the driveway well i hit one of those oh no i did sky hit it smack dab oh man straight on oh man and i went flying into the street on miller avenue and
As you know in Gilroy, Miller Avenue is a busy street. As you know. As everyone knows. Miller Avenue in Gilroy. Ain't no joke. It's crazy, bro. I lied there in the pool of my own blood. In a pool? A pool of blood? You ride a 10-speed headfirst into a brick pillar, land into a street, and you tell me if you're not in a pool of your own blood. Alright. What do you think, what do you guys think John Silverwood would think of this story? Oh, that guy. I'm lucky my leg is an advocate. Okay. How dare you. That man's a real hero, okay? To say that is ridiculous. I think I'm a hero as well. You know what he is, Eddie? You know what he is, Skye? The man's a survivor, okay? He's a survivor. He's a squirrel survivor. The hardest part was when I was lying there. My blood. A pool of your own blood. I bled my own blood. Because I looked up and, you know, cars whizzing by my head. Oh, man. Dangerous. I looked up and I think there was a smirk on that squirrel's face. You're such a weirdo. I think there was. He's laughing at you. He will pay one of these days. That's right. One of these days. That's right. P1 Ender is on the line. Hello, Ender. Stop that. What were you attacked by? I was vicious.
It happens. That's awesome. How, where, what? Was it mother goose? Yes. How did it happen? I did not provoke said goose. I was feeding ducks at the pond. And suddenly I felt a bite in my arm. And it didn't really bother me. But then it started squawking and yelling at me. And I was five at the time. So I started running. I was scared. And he pretty much chased me down, bit me in the butt. I dropped the bag and that was the end. And that's when he stopped attacking me. Question. Question. That's awesome. Yeah. Are you afraid of them to this day? I don't go to ponds anymore. Traumatize you. It's so funny what happens to us as a kid. It stays with us forever. Oh, yes. That's why I hate rats. That's why I hate rodents. I don't blame you. Thanks, bro. That's crazy. P1 Tom. Yeah. What were you attacked by?
Carpenter B. I'm in the utility business. I was up on a pole. And the damn carpenter B kept coming out. He'd go about 10 feet away and then come back and try and hit me in the head. I'm going to Google image carpenter B. Carpenter B. Yeah, carpenter B. It's about the size of your big toe. Yeah, I've seen those. The black. Oh, dude. Let me show you a picture, you guys. You're going to creep out. And finally he went into a hole. And I took my screwdriver and just jammed it in there. How about that? Oh, I've seen those before. They're those giant. Can those sting you? They almost made me fall off the pole. Dude, do they sting? Yeah. They do? No, I didn't get sting, but, man, they almost made me fall off the pole just trying to swat them away. But can they? Yeah, can they sting? I believe so, yeah. Oh, my gosh. Dude, those are those big giant ones that you see every once in a while in your life? Yeah. Like, you don't see them all the time. You see them every once in a while. No joke. Wow. Do those things? Hey, thanks, man. By the way, just a quick side note. Yeah. That dude was saying, I was laying there and I bled my own blood. Well, whose blood are you going to bleed? Yes, that's right. That's right. Eddie was lying in a pool of his own blood. That is a good point. Of his own blood. That is a really good point. Way to go. Unlike many of us that are unfortunate enough to be lying in a pool of donated blood. Well, I mean, that is crazy, too. That's right. You know, plasma sometimes.
P1 John, are you there? Yeah. You were attacked by what? I was attacked by a peacock at about seven or eight years old. How did you get in the same area of a peacock? I believe it was up in Julian. We were up camping, and there was a peacock up on top of a shed, and I was throwing some crackers up at it, and it was a male peacock. It was one of the good-looking ones. The hot ones. Yeah, the really hot ones. I saw crackers up at it, and it down, and I kind of turned around and just, like, tucked bone. It ran over my back. It, like, did the Roadrunner deal where it just runs and the legs are moving, but it's not going anywhere. It ripped my back up. That was pretty bad. I don't know. That's not the same. That's crazy. That's not the sound effect I thought it would be. Yeah, but we knew what you meant. You know what I meant. Gave me a great visual. You know I meant this? Maybe not. Maybe I don't know. Get out of here, you peacock. Not quite a peacock. Now, this next guy I want to talk to, because I've always wondered about this. You've heard of being, you know, attacked by bees. Okay. One thing that I have not talked to somebody.
about is being attacked by wasps. Don't say it. Oh, no. P1 Woodship. Yeah, I was about four years old. I went to my dad's buddy's house and I was playing in the yard and he had a mailbox that had a little wasp mess on it. I didn't know any better. I honestly thought they were little baby birds. Oh, no. I went and sat in the middle of them. I got stung like nine times. I was a walking calamine motion monster. Oh, my gosh. How old were you? I was four. Dude, I say it's a good thing you were okay, you know, if you were stung by a bunch of them. Well, I know. Luckily, I mean, I obviously wasn't allergic to them. But, I mean, I just remember being running around the yard, flailing my arms around. I felt like H. Ventura. Uh-huh. I was screaming. My dad's probably laughing at his butt off. And Brad's drinking beer with his buddy. He had to take me home. And him and my mom had to watch me for a little bit, make sure I was okay. And I'd try to have a calamine lotion on me for like the next three days. Wow. Thanks for the call. We got a guy that was attacked by a deer. What? How does that happen? There's a guy on the line that was attacked by a deer. It's P1 Desi. Let's talk to Desi. Let's see. Hang on a minute. Hey, Desi, you there? Yep. You were attacked by a deer?
Yep. Craziness. How did it happen? I was actually down in Ensenada with my family when I was a little girl, like eight or nine camping. And there was a little petting corral. And there was these big deers with these big, huge horns. I think they're like male deer. And I think they thought I was a female deer. No. You mean they were doing that? So you were sexually assaulted. You were sexually assaulted by a deer. They had me on the ground and everything. Oh, my God. I heard they're in San Quentin now, which is good. Oh, my gosh. Where they belong. Wow. That's a crazy story. Were you wearing antlers? Yeah. I wonder how that happened, like how they mistaked you for a female deer. I was just feeding them. I was feeding all the babies, and all of a sudden there was one clawing at my back, and they had me on the ground all of a sudden. Yeah. Holy cow. Wow. Set those up on to catch a predator. That's right. Oh, man. Thanks for the call, Desi. Have a good day. Thank you. That's crazy. That was Desi. We're getting all these calls from people that have been attacked by weird stuff. We got a guy on the line that was attacked by an alligator snapping turtle and a sea lion. What? At the same time? We got a mom on the line that said just for fun one time she put a hard hat on her son with bologna on top of it and made him run around so the seagulls would chase him.
What? Mike. No, you can't make things up. What? I'm not. That's line one. Stop it. Mike. What? What? What? No. That's... No. I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? Yes, I want to talk to her. I have questions. What's your guy's question? What's the matter with you? Why would you do that? P1 Mom? Yes. You put a hard hat on your son. And then you put baloney on it. And you had him run around and have the seagulls chase him. Yes, I did. Was it hysterical? It was great, and everyone at the beach enjoyed it. Well, that's what's important. Glad we cleaned that up. So, what gave you this idea? Well, growing up, my dad would use me for testing things like that. So I just did that one time where I would put bread in their sandals and let the ducks get it out. Oh, my gosh. Question, question, question, Mom. When Dad would do this, was it fun?
I learned to laugh at it, yes. Yes, yes, after many years, especially when he... Well, it's a coping mechanism. Yeah, it's a coping mechanism. One time he strapped meat around my face and sent me into the line. It's Mikey. Hey, Napoleon, where are you going? I'm going to Waterloo to meet my enemies. What's happening? No, actually, the opposite. She's kind of saying, leave me alone. You guys are stupid. You know, what's your problem? Something new. Yeah. And basically, this all has to do with new photos of her. New, I said. Nude photos of Miley Cyrus. Not nude. Not nude. Not nude. Really? New. Really? New photos. Really? Okay. So these photos were taken the other day, and she had gone for a job. A jog. Okay. Okay. She had gone for a jog with her, you know, 20-year-old supermodel boyfriend. And he is 20, and he was jogging shirtless.
And so was she. And Miley was jogging in these little jean shorts. And then she had on this very loose-fitting, low-necked T-shirt. And underneath it had a bikini top. So as she's jogging, basically you're seeing the top of the bikini top. And you're seeing a lot of boobage coming out. That's what people are talking about? A bikini top and a T-shirt? Yeah. Oh, come on. Why is that bad? I don't know. She goes on to say that she was going to be doing a car wash that day or something. Who cares what she was doing? Come on. I didn't think the photos were that crazy. I think it's weirder that she's jogging around with... It's a 20-year-old boyfriend. But she has been getting asked about it. She says she doesn't understand what the big fuss is. She doesn't get the big whoop. She says, oh, I guess I'm not allowed to jog anymore. Oh, dude, I'm looking at it right now. It's, come on. It's the big deal. Yeah. She goes, I guess I'm not allowed to jog anymore. And then she talks about the car wash. And, you know, while she was running, her shirt, you know, hung a little low so you could see some of the bathing suit top.
And so she goes on to say, oh, my gosh, Miley Cyrus wears a two-piece bathing suit. Kill me. I'm wearing a two-piece. Oh, that's not a good attitude either, though. Get out of here with that. She was at the station yesterday, Mike, and I walked right by her. You did? It was so weird. Where did you walk by her? Me and Missy were walking out back to smoke a cigarette, and Miley was right there, and I walked like five feet right by her. And some guy was trying to shake her hand. And so all I heard as I walked by her, Um, was, I don't know if I want to shake your hand. Ew. Like, I don't want to shake your hand. But she, I couldn't tell if she was kidding or not. And that was all I heard. Sounds like obviously kidding. She just was like making this face and she was like, I don't know if I want to shake your hand. And then the guy was like laughing, you know, like nervously and like trying to shake her hand or whatever. But it was just really a trip. Like walking by Miley Cyrus. What does she look like? She looks exactly like she does in pictures. Her hair was a little bit lighter, like almost. Now, was it Miley or was it Hannah? Yeah, never know. Yeah, I can never be too sure. Get the best of both of those worlds. It was Miley. Was she super tiny? Super tiny. Yeah, I mean, she looks like your basic 15, 16-year-old. You know, dressed very cute and she had really long hair and it looks like she lightened it a little bit. Somebody told me Ashley made Chinese eyes at her when she saw her. That was so inappropriate. I didn't even say anything because I was like...
I'm not... I don't want to... Did she have, like, a huge entourage around her? There was people, like, two big, like, Escalade-type cars. And, yeah, she had her people around. But, I mean, it was literally, like, her... And then like the program director for Channel 933 and like one other guy trying to shake her hand. And that was it. And me and Missy walking by. So it was out back? Yeah. Like no one was around. She sang here, right? Yeah. And it was like this big ordeal, like, you know, to like give her her space and stuff. Did they make it a big secret or were they telling people she was going to be here? They told people she was not only going to be here, but unfortunately, like no one could meet her. No one could see her. No one could request to see her. No, I mean the public. Did they tell the public she was going to be here? Oh, I don't even know. Well, I know they were like. giving, like, away, like, you know, you can come and, you know, see her, but I don't know if they specifically announced the when and where over the air, because they probably didn't want, like, a rush of people down here. I don't know, you know, how that went down. I can't tell you one thing Miley Cyrus sings. Oh, I have no clue. Does she have any hit songs on the radio, or is it all the little kid stuff? Oh, she definitely does. She does? Yeah, definitely. I thought it was all that Hannah Montana stuff. Like, the seven things. She's singing that one that goes, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na.
Pink. No, no, no. That's right. That's right. Her name is Pink. Pink. Oh. Eddie was right. Yeah. Rob told me. She'd do that song that goes, When you shine, we shine together. Yep, yep. I would do it. You and I have each other. She'd do that one. She sings the one. She's like, I'm not going to write you a love song. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's right. Because she asked for it. That's Miley Cyrus. And she does the... Oh, yeah, I like Miley Cyrus. She did that one that goes... Right. That's a good one, too. She's got a lot of hit songs. Edge of 17. Dude, whoa. What? That's a good one, Eddie. Eddie, I think you may be thinking of Stevie Nicks. Could I mix that one up? She doesn't do any of those songs. She does all of them except Edge of 17. That's right. Except. That's the dumbest thing they're getting mad at.
Yeah. She's fine. Come on. Give her a break. Leave her alone. Leave her alone. Leave her alone. I say leave her alone. I think she's fine. What about the 20-year-old boyfriend? Leave her alone about that, too. Well, you know, what do we know that they're up to? Seriously. Honestly. Like, how about if they just are smooching, you know? That's her parents' deal. Come on. That's my deal. How old is she? 16. Just turned 16. That's pretty young. Just turned it. That's pretty young for a 20-year-old boyfriend. She was 15 when they started dating. If it were me and my daughter's 15, I would say A to you. But I don't know, man. I don't want to say, because then I think I'm going to jinx myself. I say that, and then I'm going to have a kid, and she's going to be 14, and I'm going to be like, stop. Get out of his car. You know? I don't know. Oh, yesterday email. Let's do yesterday email. Hello. What happened yesterday? Hey there. This email is the kind of stuff that happened. Oh, I know what I want to ask you guys. Yeah. Well, first of all, Skye said that she had barbecue for lunch, which shocks me because I didn't think she liked barbecue. I didn't think he liked it. Where did you have barbecue? Well, it's called The Wrangler. You can't just make up stuff, dude. I'm not. It's in Escondido on East Valley Parkway. It's called The Wrangler. It's good.
It's called 501 Jeans. Shut up. They make great barbecue. That's right. Whatever. What did you have? What? What did you get? I don't see how that's relevant. What did you order? Well, there were French fries. Okay. And I had mug root beer because mug root beer doesn't have caffeine in it. So it's okay. So I had mug root beer. What did you eat? I can't. You're breaking up. You're breaking up. You're breaking up. You're breaking up. It's okay, Scott. You can say it. Why is it a big deal? See, that's why I didn't even want to mention it. If you pretend like it's not a big deal. Okay. How do I pretend? How do I do that, though? You just say it like it's a big deal. Okay, so just go. Ham is. Just say it like it's no big deal. Ham flavor. Ham flavor. Ham flavor. And then we'll just, we'll move on. You love it. You love it. You can't stay away from it. So what else did other people say yesterday? Now, Skye, I have a question for you. I really love ham. I have a question for you. If you're Skye.
How do you walk into a restaurant? Shut up, you dummy. It's unbelievable. In this town. How? And order ham. How do you do it? How do you do it? How do you do it? She doesn't even have to say anything. That's wrong. They just bring it to her. Shut up, Rob. My question is, how do you not order ham? They're just bringing our plates and plates and plates. And she's like, no, I just wanted the side of rice. That's two for one. That's two for one. It's a double whammy. It's two for Tuesday, everybody. Wow. Booyah. Sky, do you make your husband order it? It's good. Pork chops taste good. Yeah. The ham tastes better. The best. Did you order it? Talk about it, Sky. Describe it. Describe it. I don't feel bad. I don't need to feel better. You don't feel bad? Please describe how it goes down. For those of you that don't know, we give Skye a hard time. Oh, really? No one noticed. Because Skye... Oh, she freaks out for it, Mike. I do not freak out. She freaks out for it, Mike. I do not.
She freaking loves ham. She loves it. Like it's, it's like part of her skin. That is gross. And I don't know what that means. So you walk in there, you and your husband? Yes. You walk in there and does he order or do you? Well, most of the time he does because he's, you know. Tells me to shush in public. And he, yeah, he does. Because she has a very recognizable voice. And loud. Sky does. Kind of a loud talker sometimes. She's a loud talker. Inside voice. I am not Rachel Ray, you jerk. Eddie. You got a little bit in you. Come on, Eddie. And so. But yesterday I forgot. Does he. You saw it on the menu. You're like. Ham is a very great ingredient. A ham adventure. Put your arms down. Put your arms down. Put your arms down. You're not reaching for anything. Stop it. Oh my gosh, Ham. Reunited and it feels so good. Let's see. Barbecued ribs, baby. Bobby, bunny boy, bunny boy. Look, look, look, look.
Look up here. What kind of glaze are we talking? Excuse me. Excuse me. Garcon. Is there anyone here? Easy on the bell. You're going to break it. Ma'am ham. Ma'am. Ma'am, excuse me. Hook a sister up. Give me the ham. I need my fix. Exactly like this. It was nothing of the sword. And then, dude, then after you get it, like, how does she go sit down and eat it? And he's pretending to wipe it on his face. Like a washcloth. Like it's a washcloth. Washcloth. He's taking off his makeup with it. He's taking off...
So a girl can't go get barbecue is obviously what we're learning today. Who even eats barbecue to ham? I've never even seen ham on a barbecue menu. She made the bacon. That's amazing. She brought her own. It was a pork charge. A pork charge. All right. That's so clever, Mike. What's the park feed? Okay. That's great. They have her smell the bone. She's like, yes, that's fine. Sky, was it like a sandwich or was it just like a big slab? Was it like a bone in slab? Listen, kind of lady. I'm being serious. I know you got a pig back there. All right? Give me the snout. That's so uncool, man. Oh, my gosh. Holy cow. That is... Oh, my gosh. My stomach hurts. Oh, my gosh. Let's just chill out. All right. Listen to this email that we just got. Mikey, it's so funny that Sky mentioned Wrangler Barbecue. I went there Sunday for the first time in a long time, and there's no way you can't order the ham there. It's easily the best thing on the menu. I really like their onion rings, too. They are... Okay, well. See? Can I please have the ham special with onion rings? You're supposed to be my girl. You're supposed to be my girl. I don't care what Mike tells you. I don't care. Dude, we have to put that on like a disc or something and go to like McDonald's and Burger King and have to order that everywhere.

I forced her to do it. Let me tell you guys a little story. Ring the barbecue. It was a normal day. It was just like any other day. What is going on? We walked in and I'm used to getting ham each time I go. And so I walked up to the counter and I said, my usual, I said, hey, it's me, I'll take the ham. They don't know me. And the person looked at me with dead eyes. Oh, no. They looked me straight in the face. And they said to me, it hurts to remember, but they said, we're out. My ham levels were already low. Such thing as ham. My ham levels were dangerously low at the time. And I said, listen to me, all right?
If I don't get some ham in here, immediately. Now, luckily, I had my ham friend pen in my pocket. So I stabbed myself in the buttocks. I pressed it in, and it immediately shot honey glaze into my fascia. And my ham levels were restored to normal. Yeah, that's great. That's great. Yeah, wonderful. Just wonderful. Anyway, we do sports normally here. I really love ham. Anything. What do we call it? The ham through. That's the funniest idea you've ever had in the history of all time. Yeah. Motley Crue says that on this next tour, they're going to play the entire Theater of Pain album. No, Mike. You're wrong. Nope. I'm sick of you being wrong. What I meant to say was they're going to play their best of album. I'm not going to. What are they doing?
On this next tour, because they do this crew fest, I guess, which is like their summer tour. And they say that this year on the tour, they will play the entire Dr. Feel Good album. Which to me was their best album. Right. Well, it's the 20th anniversary. They should call it the Dr. Feel Good tour. Well, I think, didn't they already do that? Well, yeah, but that's when they were popular. That's an interesting point you make there. Kickstart my heart. Yeah, yeah. Without you, which was beautiful. Why don't I just YouTube the videos? Isn't that cheaper? It's cheaper. I know, but they look better on YouTube from the old days. It's like the real deal, you know? Same old situation. Dr. Feelgood. He said, you're the dumbest thing I've ever done. Sky just corrected me. No, Mike, he said I'm the dumbest thing. I'm the dumbest thing. Let's get that tripped. Get it right, buddy. He said I'm the dumbest thing. And you're welcome. Oh, my gosh. Where's my trophy? Hey, Skye. Skye is shoving a dry erase board in my face right now. She's shoving it in my face. It's 9.20. You said in the clock hour you were going to give away these tape perfumes. Oh, my God. Okay.

I spent the last three nights placing Reese's Pieces down the stairs of the White House. You did? Trying to lure an alien into my bedroom. But you don't even live in them. That's weird. Wait, President Bush. You don't live at the White House anymore. You don't live there. What are you doing? Can I tell you what happened? Yes, please. Well, the candy kept disappearing and I thought, oh, the alien's close. But it turns out it was old Dick Cheney who's eaten them the whole time. And he's still there at the White House. We haven't left. It's supposed to be Obama living there now. He's renting it to us. Wow. I'm also looking for an apology from the movie Boys Don't Cry. You are?
Why boys don't cry? Let me tell you, Mikey. Old Dick Cheney. Uh-huh. Him and I were watching that movie during one of our movie nights at the White House. Uh-huh, yeah, yeah. And Cheney kept calling me bisexual. Why? Well, because I thought Hilary Swank was such a handsome woman. Yeah. You want an apology for that. So you thought you were bi. Thanks, man. I'm not bi. Because... You thought Hilary Swank was a handsome woman. That's weird. You know what's weird? What? I'm also looking for an apology from Eddie. Why? Eddie from our show? Why are you looking for an apology from that? I was watching the movie Titanic with you guys during the 28-hour show. Yeah. When the Titanic sank and all those people went in the water. Right. Eddie said they were just fine. He said they were fine. But they were blue. After the movie, I went on Wikipedia and typed in Titanic. And it turns out most of those people died. You didn't know that President Bush? I found out Leonardo DiCaprio died.
She let go. She let go. No, no, no, no. She let go. She won an Oscar. Just in the movie. That was messed up. Poor Leo wasn't there. She died in the movie. It's at the bottom of the ocean. That is fair. I think the Hollywood community owes me an apology for that unauthorized biography that they made of me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They did that George W movie. Yeah, W, the movie W. No, I don't even know what the hell that is. I'm talking about Forrest Gump. Duh. That's not about you. That's not about you. How did they know I was on a shrimp boat? You were on a shrimp boat? Yeah, with Lieutenant Dan. Hey, man. You were on there? Listen. I think somebody owes me an apology for not giving me credit for coming up with my character. Your what? My character. Sometimes I flub a word. Character beast. In that last X-Men movie. You were beast in the last... It's based on my badassiness. Oh, Willie. Thank you very much, Hollywood. I'm sorry. And you're welcome. No, I had no idea. I had no idea that was the case. Hey, guys, I have another apology. Okay, go ahead. I want to ask for. Go ahead, President Bush. I think Willie from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory owes the American people an apology. Oh, all of us. Why? Why does he... Why? You wouldn't believe how much taxpayer money I've wasted.
having Homeland Security gather information on that terrorist group, the Oompa Loompas. They're not terrorists. No, that is not a documentary. They're sneaky little buggers. No, they're not. That is a movie. I've got to tell you, Mikey, to this day, we can't prove they exist. Obama just released a memo about it. They don't exist. He's a jerk like that Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks? Yeah, he should apologize to me, too. Why? Tom Hanks? Yeah, Tom Hanks. For what? Well, 2001 was very stressful. Yeah. And I just wanted to fast forward to an easier time. So I spent the better part of 2001 going from carnival to carnival looking for that darn Zoltan machine. Okay. Never found it. Wow, you have a lot of time on your hands. I'm still big. I'm still big. I'm a weird time. So you're shrimping boats. You're going to carnival. Yeah, this is what I do in my spare time. That's weird. Putting the Reese's Pieces. That's weird. Hey, guys. What's up, President? I'll tell you what. That president, I need a job, is one hump short of a fool of a camel. Wait, what? I screwed that up. He's one hump short of a fool camel. He's a hump short of a fool camel. What? How's that one? Knock, knock. Who's there? Wait, President Bush. Hump a camel. What are you talking about? Thank you, President Bush. I'm not done yet. No, wait.
My Shaquille O'Neal joke out. Okay. One more. Before he asked for an apology for $300, he ought to demand one from Shaquille O'Neal for Kazam. Why? Come to think of it, we all deserve an apology for Kazam. That's a good point. Thank you, President Bush. Hey, you're welcome, Mackie. Thank you. That is our president, President George W. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Well, overall, the ride's not too bad. A couple of things to be aware of, though. There's an accident on the Escalito Avenue on-ramp to westbound 78, wrapping up, so use caution there. Also, south 163. You've got some busy traffic through the park's room. Your accident almost clear before Clark Boulevard. Northbound on the 5 before Lucadia Boulevard. There's a new accident. You descend on the 5 with the car facing the wrong way. so be careful there as well. And what's up for Caltrans crews? They're working the far right lane of the Coronado Bridge coming off the island into San Diego. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 1053. Hey, is this Todd? Yes. Todd wrote me an email. Tell everybody what you wrote me in the email. Mikey, I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Cunningham pillow top over at Sleep Train two weeks ago, and it was just an amazing experience. The salesperson gave me 10% off before he even knew I was in there for the Mikey show.
And then I used the Ace card and said, oh, Mikey told me to come in, and I got an additional 10. So all in all, I saved 20% on the mattress. And I bought it at Mission Valley at 11 o'clock. They had it delivered and installed in Chula Vista by 2.30 on the same day. That's rad. And what's even more amazing, since it was a Cunningham pillow top, it was personally delivered by Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber. It was just an amazing experience. That's awesome. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train and all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Potsy Weber delivered it. Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you.
The Mikey Show. Featuring Mikey. Mine. Right arm is almost completely sleeved. Eddie. I don't like sports that are judged. Sky. I'm not a big fan of combining foods. Like, you know, like. Combining? Yeah. Boston Rob. You know me. I love a good tattoo. And Ashley. I don't like to waste food. On Rock 105.3. What do we got? We were talking about the Motley Crue thing, right? Yeah, we talked about that. How awesome it is. Stop. I mean, if you're a Motley Crue fan. And you want to see them perform that stuff again? I do. You're good. You're good to go. You will enjoy. I will. Although they are not. When does this start, Skye? Do we know when that tour is starting out? No, it's a summer tour. So I think mid this month they'll unveil the whole lineup of tour dates. And God Smack is rumored to be the opening band or part of the tour or whatever. Really? However it works, yeah. There is a new study out.
What does it say? It says, who looks at porn more? Red states or blue states? Which was it, Skye? Well, I don't know if this is going to surprise you or not. But the red states. Now, the red states are the Republicans or the Democrats? The Republicans. Oh. Or must be pornographers. Yeah, they say that the conservative and religious states have higher levels of consumption. They did a study of credit card receipts that were, you know, and looking at online entertainment that was used through the credit cards. And that's what they found. They said eight of the top ten pornography-consuming states. all voted for John McCain in last presidential election. So that means that people that like John McCain must be pornographers. Obviously. Or perverts, at least. Perverts, yeah. So the two blue states that made it into the top ten were... Thank you, Mikey. I didn't say it, Mr. McCain. The two blue states that made it into the top ten for pornography were Florida and Hawaii. Oh, I'm going to kill them. No, sorry, Eddie.
Other than that, though, Democrats do not look at pornography. No, never. Because they think that it's wrong. Right. And so they won't do it. Right. Let's see. You know what I would like to do? Eddie, are you prepared to do a little sports dirt? Oh, what? Are you prepared? This is out of the norm. I want to hear some sports stuff. Okay. Now, with the top sports stories of the day, it's the sports dirt with Eddie. Told you this late in the show yesterday. The Coast Guard found one of the four men who were lost at sea over the weekend. They were on a fishing trip. Two of them were NFL players, and they have not been found yet. They're still missing. The one guy that was found had a life jacket on and was clinging to the boat when the Coast Guard found him. So lucky that that guy was found alive. But the other people, they're still looking for him. But, I mean, at this point, they're talking about hypothermia, dehydration, all kinds of different stuff that could affect them. late Saturday, or was it early Sunday? Do you remember when... I believe it was Saturday when the boat tipped over. So they would have been in the water ever since. Yeah, they've been in the water. Oh, God. Oh, I can't even... Sucks. Wide receiver T.J. Huchmanzada signed a five-year deal with Seattle, so he's going to be a Seahawk now. The Redskins cut defensive end Jason Taylor after he chose not to participate in their off-season workouts. Kurt Warner... What? ...is...
Visiting with the San Francisco 49ers. Get out. He took a physical and brought his wife with him, too. What? Could be close to signing a deal with San Francisco. Dude. Holy cow. Eddie, what do you think about that? Mike Mart's not even there anymore, right? No, he's not. They were even talking about changing the offense to Sir Kurt and all kinds of different stuff. Really? Yeah. Hey, Kurt Warner's better than what they got. He'd be serviceable for a couple of years, for sure. He's asking for crazy money. He's asking for like $14 million a year. The 49ers, they're pretty under the cap. They could afford it, but I don't know that I'd want to pay Kurt Warner $14 million a year. Kind of interesting, but we'll see. We're looking at a guy that played in the Super Bowl. You know what I mean? Well, he's been an MVP of a Super Bowl. Last year he played in the Super Bowl. This year he played in the Super Bowl. He's an older guy, though. You've got to think at some point his body's going to start breaking down. He's superhuman.
Yeah, I don't know. That's a fact. I don't know. He's superhuman strength and superhuman. No, that's not true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He once threw a ball from Arizona, Miami. They didn't video it. They didn't video it. They can't YouTube it, but people saw it. And then there's like a nine-year-old caught it in Miami. A nine-year-old. He's like, oh, he's got really good reflexes. It was awesome. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall's disorderly conduct charge has been dropped. Wait a minute. Since you reported it this morning? Yesterday. Was it yesterday? It was yesterday, yeah. And it's been dropped? It's been dropped. Him and his fiancée. I like a bunch of his passes this year. Apparently, the charge was resulting in a fight that him and his fiancée got into, but they refused to testify against each other, so the judge dropped the case. But that doesn't mean that the league could still intervene and suspend him. I hope they do. Why? We don't know the details. Mike, we know. Details. Details. There was a domestic incident, and it's not becoming of an NFL player. Okay, very good. Padres' closer, Heath Bell has been added to the World Baseball Classic roster, the United States roster. So Heath Bell and Jake Peavy now on the team. And this is a crazy, bizarre story. At least a dozen men attacked Sri Lanka's cricket team with rifles, grenades, and rocket launchers.
Right before a match in Pakistan, wounding seven players, an umpire, an assistant coach, and I believe seven police officers were killed in a gun battle. Dude, what is that about? I have no idea. That's crazy. It's a political thing, obviously, you know. They were headed in a caravan to play this cricket match, and a dozen men just attacked the caravan and were in a gun fight, gun battle. Rocket launchers? Rocket launchers, grenades. Jeez. Really crazy story, man. So there you go. Let's see. This is Justin Timberley. Justin Timberley. I love him. This is Justin Timberley doing his imitation of John Mayer. Whenever you're ready. Sorry, just try it. Yeah, just try it. Wah. Wah. Oh, dude, that's funny. You know, the thing I thought about it, too, is like he was doing that. on TV and everything, when he's not nervous, I bet that's even better. When he's busting with his friends. Yeah, when he's just messing around with his friends, that's probably way better. But of course, that was really awesome because it was from last night's first Jimmy Fallon show. I'm surprised someone else has to do the work because you know he's uncapable of it. Uncapable? What's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? Too much going on.
Hey, that's the band you said you liked. Yeah, but there's like a lot of stuff. The Roots. They're awesome. My shoulder pad. Jimmy Fallon. What are you wearing? Estee Lauder? You're the best. What? I didn't understand that one. That was weird. Dude, did anyone see his preview? Mm-mm. Ah, the commercial? Like the promo? What is it like? Oh, I don't... such feelings about Jimmy Fallon. I don't know, but it's not funny. He's not funny. There's no funniness about him. His promo neither is Gallagher, but I'm not like mad at him. Gallagher is humorous. Okay. Obviously Jimmy Fallon is funny or else he wouldn't have this job. To some he's funny. Yeah, but Rob is really upset about him. Let's listen to Jimmy interviewing Robert.
De Niro last night. I know that you don't do many talk shows, and you're not a really talkative person, really, to be honest. That was so funny. He didn't do anything wrong yet. How could Rob have said he hasn't done anything wrong? What I did was I wrote some questions with one-word answers. I figured I'd ask you. This is going to warm up the conversation a little bit and maybe that'll help. That's funny. That's really funny. And it's clever. Yeah. Funny. It's the best. It's clever because, you know, he knows that De Niro doesn't answer much. I wonder if there was anything at all, at all, that Jimmy Fallon could say that Rob would actually admit that he thought was funny. Never. You know what we should do? There's nothing funny about Jimmy Fallon. You know what we should do? Fallon or fallacy. What we'll do is... Fallon or false? Fallon or false? We'll take Jimmy Fallon lines and we'll take lines from a billion different other comics. And funny or Fallon? I'm working it out. There it is. And we read them. And Rob has to say, yeah, that's funny. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the great part of it. Jimmy Fallon's stand-up is mimicked off of great comics. And that's all it is. He never developed his own style.
Yeah, but the point is that he's... Yeah, Rob's basing that on nothing. Yeah, the point is... I watched some of his stand-up. But the point is he's funny, and I bet you'll find him funny. I guarantee you you're going to find him funny. I'm going to find some stuff that's funny. Yeah, Rob. Wow, you're going to totally prove me wrong. That's right, and then at the end of it, you're going to say, I just figured it out. I love Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy Fallon is my boyfriend. All right, let me hear him do this De Niro deal. So, are you cool with that? Mm-hmm. Okay. Oh, man. All right. That doesn't count as one, by the way. How are you? Okay, that's good. He's okay, he's okay. That's good. I'll take that. Are you happy to be here? I don't know yet. He doesn't get his answer with one-word answers. And that would be really uncomfortable for Jimmy Fallon to say. The idea... Re-explain it. Re-explain.
That's four. That's pretty good. I'm ahead. I'm ahead of the game. Do you live in New York? Yes, I live in New York. Perfect. I'm so uncomfortable. Just say yes. Come on, De Niro. Just say yes or no, because that's the bit. Don't you get the bit? Bob. This is so good. See how this is working? I got to say. It's not working. Rob is sitting back drinking a soda right now with a look on his face that says, and proven. Here's your new late night show. Have fun with that. The guy wears women's clothes. Stop it. This is funny. This is a true story. You sent me an email. I was emailing you over the weekend letting you know different questions I might ask you. And you said you asked me for more questions. And then I sent you another email. Weird, by the way. Because you've got to figure he would have sent them a lot of questions. He wouldn't send three or four. And is it like don't there like people that do that on normal talk shows that like kind of ask you questions and then they give the questions to the.
post, kind of like pre-interview. Yeah. Send me more questions. With more questions to ask you, and then you said, can you give me some more questions? And I sent you some more questions, and you said... That wasn't for people to know. You said, and at the end of that, I said, it's going to be very short. You don't have to worry about all these questions. You go, thank God, because the questions keep getting worse and worse. Wow! And then you said at the end, you go, I'll see you on Tuesday. Come on. And then he goes, just kidding. And I was like, you know, it was driving me crazy. I'm going nuts around my house. I'm very nervous. That was my first talk show. Jim Fallon, he's crazy. That was a very personal, Rob is just drinking this soda, this straw. Rob has a look on his face right now of complete and total victory.
Rob, he was a little nervous. And you know what the best about that show is probably he keeps doing those funny, awkward looks right at the camera. Oh, man, Jimmy Fallon, you're hilarious. His disdain for Jimmy Fallon is really, really interesting. Yesterday, after I saw the preview, I was thinking, maybe I could get tickets and go on this show. Oh, no, they'd kick you right out. No, I would be very well behaved. Some of Jimmy Fallon's monologue. As you know, New York City was hit with a huge snowstorm, and I woke up this morning, I said, please let it be a snow day. Not even a delay, nothing. Do you hear in his delivery the very, very, very slightest of Mitch Hedberg? A little bit, yeah. Yes. Wow, Rob. That's what I was just saying. Rob really got excited. I watched one of his stand-ups where it was directly ripping, like, It was almost like he was trying to do a Mitch Hedberg impression. And I kept thinking he was going to say that at the end. And he never did. I hear a little Mitch Hedberg. Yeah, I hear a little bit. I've been getting so much encouragement. In fact, just before I went on, Rush Limbaugh called me up and said he wants me to fail. That was nice of him. That was nice of him. I thought, I'm in good company. Thank you. Thank you very much. No, he said you suck. Please have him escorted out of the building. Thank you. That would have been me. I hate when my dad drinks.
The good news is, though, President Obama announced that he plans to bring the troops home from Iraq in 18 months. Good for him. Good for him. Yeah. The troops actually responded and said, thank you, but the economy's better over here. Did you hear about Obama? Yeah, that's right. Thank you, but the economy's better over here. Obama's new budget thing, a record deficit for next year of $1.7 trillion. $1.7 trillion. He's going to explain it all in his next major address. Brought to you by China. He don't like the guy. If Jimmy were smart, he would have reinvented that talk show. No monologue. Do stuff real different. Why the monologue? You're not good at it, Jimmy, so don't do it. I like that idea. Eddie Collins. Speaking of talk shows, Sarah Silverman might be over. Her talk show? She doesn't have it.
Or a TV show. Or a TV show. Awesome. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, it's over. I think it might be over. I think it might be over. No. I got details next. 105.3. AMCO is the best. Yeah, you mentioned Sarah Silverman's TV show. What's the deal, Sky? Is it leaving?
Well, the Sarah Silverman program, which is on Comedy Central, which Rob loves. It's real good. Yeah, it's pretty funny. It's kind of out there, kind of vulgar. She's the best. Yeah, but it's funny. Well, I guess, you know, she's one of the show's executive producers, and her and the other executive producers have threatened to quit because Comedy Central just told them that their budget for season three will be cut by 20%. Oh, no. Yeah, so Comedy Central is asking them to function on this is how much money. money they would get per episode to make the episode. $850,000. Are you kidding me? Per episode? Yeah, they're saying that's not enough. They say they usually operate on a budget between one and a half and two million dollars per episode. Oh my gosh. I didn't know it cost so much money. Well, I guess you got to pay everybody. How can you afford to pay? $1.5 million an episode to Sarah Silverman's show. On Comedy Central. How do you afford to do that? Think of all the people who are involved who need to get paid. Oh my goodness. And then all the equipment and the studio space. I wonder how much an episode of Lost costs. I can't even imagine if these numbers are for that. Seriously, if that's the Sarah Silverman show, because if somebody had asked me, hey dude, how much do you think it costs to shoot an episode of Lost? I'd have said...
Oh, man, probably a lot, probably at least a million dollars an episode. Yeah. Between a million and a million and a half for the Sarah Silverman show. It's a great show. You know what I'd like to know is just bottom line cost. What's it cost to pay the people to work on a TV show? One million dollars. That's right. Okay. Seriously, what's it cost? Yeah, that's crazy. I never knew it was that much. I didn't either. Yeah. What's another big story, Sky? What else would we say we're going to talk about? Oh, the iPhone thing. That's what I want to talk about. Yeah, this is... The iPhone app. There's a new iPhone app. Okay. And people are upset about it. Yeah, this, I don't like it. So, you know, Apple's not the one who came up with this application, but Apple is the one who decided to sell it on their, like, application store, the Apple store. I don't know. I don't do the iPhone thing.
But, yeah, so they sold it. They started selling it yesterday as a new application for the iPhone, and it simulates gunfire. Oh. So you know how, like, right now on your iPhone you have the bowling thing where you actually have to, like, you know, swing your hand under, do the bowling motion, hear the ball be released? Well, same kind of thing. If you simulate bang, bang, bang with your... iPhone, you shake it or pretend like it's a gun. Bang, bang, bang. And they say these are cinema quality effects. You don't just hear a bang. You actually hear the shell casings hitting the ground. Like the whole thing. That seems dangerous. Thank you, Eddie. It seems very dangerous. Bang, bang, bang. can be, like, accidentally shot because a wallet in their hand, a police officer accidentally thinks a wallet is, you know, if you have... That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. And I guess more versions are in the works, like an old gangster model and an AK-47 machine gun type model. Why? Because they need more people to get shot, that's why. That is crazy. It can happen. Yeah, I'm sure nobody will do that at a stupid place where you can get, you know, shot. Yeah, you're in the dark somewhere.
Cop pulls a gun on you. You hear that. Like, he's going to fire back at you. Oh, please. Or like, you know, you hear that in your hallway and you call 911 because you hear gunfire. Like, you know, that's going to create a lot of problems. Yeah, I think that's a bad idea. And they'll probably end up taking it down. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody ends up saying that that's like tries to pass something like a bill or something that says it's illegal. Right. Because it's. Irresponsible. Biggie's shot, man. Bad idea. Tomorrow, Taylor Hicks is going to be in the studio. Oh, Soul Patrol. Yeah, the gray fox. Yes, the gray ghost. No, the gray goose. The silver goose. Yes. From the Broadway, Grease? From the Broadway, Grease. Hit musical, Greasy Broadway, American Idol. He was the dude from American Idol. Oh, I loved him. He won it. I loved him. He's going to be in Greece here in town, right? Yeah. Where is it going to be? The San Diego Civic Theater. I'm going tomorrow night. Who does he play? Wait, wait, wait. You're going? Yeah. Me and Skinner are going tomorrow night. You and your mom are going to see Greece. Because it's the word, bro. What does he play? Fonzie. What's his character's title? Beauty School Dropout. Yeah, the... That guy. Oh, he's the... Guy who sings Beauty School Dropout.
I thought that was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wasn't he supposed to be like Richie Valley? Frankie Avalon. Frankie Avalon. Yep. So isn't he supposed to be like a sex symbol? Taylor Hicks is a 2009 Frankie Avalon. Yeah, hello. You didn't know that? I don't know that. It's like I read that in the paper. In the paper. Let's see. P1 Plumbob. What's up, Mikey? Dude, what's up? I just wanted to tell you my AIS story, man. What is it? Uh-oh. Uh-huh. Right. You called AIS. A year? I don't know how AIS does stuff. I don't know how they do it. Dude, I saved $1,600 because I switched. That's awesome. That's cool.
Yeah, they're always searching for the best deal. Absolutely. 1-800-777-4AIS is the phone number, and you can check them out online. Slow down. AISinsurance.com. Yeah, 1-800-777-4AIS. That's cool. Thanks, dude. Thank you, bro. Appreciate it. Let's see. Oh, you guys want to do some new releases? Oh, yeah. Eddie, shush. Eddie, right now, just shush it. I'm not allowed to talk. No. Since when am I not allowed to talk? I'm all excited about Australia coming out. And then you claim you don't know what you're doing. Oh my gosh, my bad. What did I do? Oops. You're telling me I can't talk even though I'm excited about a movie coming out. Well, you can say it after she says, you know, like, gives it away. What, is this Gestapo tactics? No. Is this Gestapo tactics? Yes, Eddie, it's Gestapo. Is this the Gestapo here? No. What's happening is that she is having her thunder stolen when you tell it. Yeah, you're stealing it. The thunder from down under? Hey. Australia. Eddie, you just gave it away, dude. You just said Australia, which is out today. Which is a continental Indiana country.
New on DVD. I'm sorry, Sky. Oh, it's out today, Mike? Yeah, that's right. You just said it. I didn't say it. You don't deserve this. Anyway, so we have new video games out this week. Oh, this is what I'm excited about. We have Tom Clancy's Hawks for Xbox 360. Tom Clancy's what? Hawks. Hawks? Yeah. H-A-W-X. That's like Hawk and Loogies. No, it's like advanced jet fighter stuff. But spies do it. Okay. We have MLB09. Hey, where's the new music at? Ash. From Paige. MLB09 the show. Somebody get that for me for my birthday. Dustin Pedroia is on the cover. Someone get it for me for my birthday. This is November, but it don't matter. We have Major League Baseball 2K9 for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. Halo Wars for Xbox 360. The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match PS2 and Xbox 360. Grey's Anatomy for the Wii. What the hell is that? I don't know. Grey's
Ray's Anatomy for the Wii. What is that? How does that work? I don't know. It says, the video game brings to life all the people and places from the top rated show. Have everyone hook up the whole time. SBK Superbike World Championship for PS3. Brain Challenge Deluxe PS3. Six Flags Fun Park for the Wii. Sonic and the Black Knight for Wii. Tomb Raider Underworld PS2 and Wii. and snowboard for the Wii. Whiskey. Whiskey. Whiskey. All right. New music out today. U2 has their new one out. It's called No Line on the Horizon. Let's take a listen to it. That's not music. That is Corlett Johansson. Definitely not music. It's sad. It's really changed. It's a beautiful day. Oh, by the way. I was in Shauna's office when the music rep for this company, I hope she's right now, I hope she's not going, Mikey, shut up. Okay. But I was in there when the music rep for the record company that...
Like is promoting this single. He came in and they do the thing, you know, where they're like, they sit there and they're playing the song for the program director and they're like jamming to it, you know? So like try to get the program director to be like, you're getting me into this. This is awesome, man. I got to play this song. And Shauna goes, um, this sounds just like a song that came out in the early nineties by the super gay band. And he's like, and the guy's like, what are you talking about? He goes, I don't know what you're talking about. And she goes, yeah, I'll find it for you. So she brings up the song, oh, Eddie, who sings the song Wild Wild West? Escape Club. The Escape Club. I thought that when I was hearing that. Let me find it. Oh, no. And she plays it, and he goes, yeah, I guess it does kind of sound like that a little bit. Aw. So hysterical. You guys know this song? Ashley, have you ever heard this in your life? Yeah. U2. So here's a U2 song. It does kind of sound like it. A little bit. That's weird. It almost has like a Stone Temple Pilots feel. Really? That U2. Don't call me stupid, Eddie. Go ride a girls bike. I was listening to the U2. Why did he just attack me? I don't know. I was listening to the U2. And I don't know what album it was. Yeah.
But it was playing a bunch of songs I never heard before, and I was like, this is actually pretty good. Maybe it was this new stuff. Yeah, well, this new U2 album out today, No Line on the Horizon, they're expecting it to be the best-selling album of 2009. So we'll see if that happens or not. The best-selling album of 2009? That's what they're expecting. What? Why? Because... Don't yell at me, people. You too, man. I have a question. I'm a vertical. I didn't do anything wrong. Is U2 sort of like Will Smith in that when they come out with something, just millions and millions of people just kind of automatically buy it? Kind of, yeah. They're a super group. I knew they're a super group. Yeah. So when they release something, it's pretty big. I don't think it'll be the biggest selling album. They have to have some real big hit singles for that to happen. And I don't know that that was one of them. I like U2. I think they're good. I like you as well. Me too. No, no. I didn't mean I like U2. I like you, too. So you don't like me. No, no, no. I love you. I don't like you, too. You know what? You're sending me mixed messages. I am. It's like The Bachelor. All right. Also out today, we have the soundtrack to Watchmen. Dude, they had a lot of big songs. That's something Jimi Hendrix did. Yeah, it was in the movie. I was? Yeah. I was actually thinking while watching the movie, they had to spend a ton.
ton of money on music. Because it was all popular songs. They got it by the rights. My Chemical Romance, Nat King Cole, Bob Dylan, Simon Garfunkel, Janis Joplin. Simon Garfunkel? Simon and Garfunkel. He's good. Have you never seen Simon Garfunkel perform live? You have to because he comes out. Yeah, dude. Simon walks out and he's like, I'm Simon Garfunkel. Is that what he does? And people are like, Simon! Yes! Mr. Garfunkel! Okay. I am sorry. Let's listen to more of the soundtrack. What Simon Garfunkel song do they have on there? The Sound of Silence. That's my favorite one by him. Simon and Garfunkel, you jerk! What else is out today, Sky? Simon and Garfunkel. Oh, no.
Cause she's a brick. Hold on. You're a gift. What else? There's one more album out today. Can I please have the ham special with onion rings? Oh, right away, ma'am. We've been waiting for you. Wanna go home? No, you don't. How dare you? Okay, there's one more album out today. I really love ham. It's Rush with Retrospective 3. I've already heard this one. That's old stuff. Yeah, that's old stuff. How did they put it out again? Did they do something to it? Well, yeah, it's like a package deal. It's a two-disc with a DVD. 89, yeah. Okay, new DVDs out today. Oh, what you got, Sky? Breakdown. You really? No, you already said one, Eddie. Who did? You did. Hey, remember when you said Australia?
I did not say that. You did like three times. I was in geography class. That's the best excuse you could come up with right now. You were in geography class. Give him a couple minutes. Yes, I was. Like Eddie said, Australia out today. Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman. You're ruining it. How dare you. All right. Also out today on DVD, we have Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Anyone? No. Okay, we have Watchmen, the complete motion comic, out. Oh, come on. What is that? The better one's in the theater. Yeah, that comes out on Friday. All right, the inauguration of Barack Obama, a moment in history. Anybody from ABC News?
On DVD today. It's $100. Will that go to fixing our deficit? Yes. That's how he's going to get it down by half. By DVD sales? Yes. Okay. TV shows to DVD. That was it? Yeah. Well, also, and new on Blu-ray today, we have The Silence of the Lambs on Blu-ray, if you're into that. Okay. Stop it. If you're into it. Right. TV shows to DVD, Seventh Heaven, the eighth season. ER, the complete tenth season. The Hills, the fourth season. My Two Dads, the first season. Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares. Ramsey. Complete series one. And Nash Bridges, the second season. Enjoy. A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. He threw that in, you know. Freaks me out. It was an ad lib. I wonder if they have, like, deleted scenes. They could, like, the bloopers. The bloopers. I once farted his... Oh, my goodness. Cut. Someone on set does it. I once... A census taker once tested me. Oh. Oh, cut. You guys. Let's take it from the top. Coming out of the record.
A census take of once. Now I can't do it. Oh, no. He's thrown off. Now I've got the giggles. Get back in yourself. Christian Bale. Hey, Cindy's in here. Let's talk to Cindy. Cindy. Hey, Cindy. Hi, Cindy. Hi. Formerly known as P1 Quimby. I was going to say, she looks a lot like that Quimby girl we used to know. That's right. That's Cindy. Okay. Quimby is here to tell us about the fun and frivolity that's going to be going on at D&B this weekend. Yeah. Yeah, Friday night at 7 o'clock, we have a P1 site, the grassroots fan site of the Mikey Show. Yeah. We have rented out the billiards room from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sweet. It's $15 if you pre-order, $20 at the door because we're paying for this all up front. We're celebrating...
Colorado Eddie, who's a big-time P1 on P1's site, he's coming to San Diego before he gets deployed. That's cool. And we're celebrating my birthday. That's cool. Now, this is a celebration of all P1s, right? Absolutely. All P1s that enjoy the Mikey show can come down. And you can all meet each other face-to-face. I think a couple of you might be slipping down. Check it out. Here's what's really cool is that, like Quimby said, Cindy, like Cindy said, This is a, you know, the station doesn't do this website. I don't do this website. This was a fan-inspired website. Grassroots. And it's p1site.com. And they're doing this thing where they're all getting together and inviting other P1s that like the show to go down there. And I'm going to stop by. What? I'm definitely going to stop by. I want to see you guys, man. I challenge you to pull. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it's cool. I think it's really cool. So I want to stop by and say hi. Yeah.
And, yeah, everybody's invited. It'll cost you $15. And for that, you get a card to play games and stuff, right? I believe so. And we have the billiards tables. We get three billiards tables. So we just play pool from 7 to 11, which is really cool because I used to work there. The prices are a little higher on the weekends. So it's really cool that we got this room. Yeah, just go to P1Site.com, and it's the first thing you're going to see, and you just click on the link and just, you know, check it out. Danny put this all together himself. Usually I put together the events, so I'm really proud of the kid. That's awesome. He's doing a good thing. Nice. I love him. Nice. So it's going to be a lot of fun, and I look forward to seeing all of you there and schooling you out some skee-ball. What's up? I'll play you some video games. Oh, you're going down. Oh, you're done already? Dude, I don't play very well. Oh, dude, you ran right into the car. I didn't even see it. I'm just not that good at this game. You're better at Donkey Kong. I think so, too. It's too bad I don't have that sound. Eddie, you're better at it than the real thing. Practically the same thing.
P1 Picante, thank you, Cindy. Thanks, Cindy. Thanks, Cindy. P1 Picante wants to do his Paul Harvey impression. Go ahead. P1 Picante. Yes, my guy. I just want to tell Sky that she does a great job every day giving us the news. Thank you. Oh, is that your Paul Harvey? Yes. Oh, that was really, really not. Like he was in the room. Yeah, yeah. Not what I expected. But better. But better, though, right? Yeah, I would say. Better than you expected. Not what I expected. Okay. One more time. One more time. One more time? Yep. All right. Kill it, guy. She does a great job giving us the news every day. Very well done. That's awesome. That was still not what I expected, but you know what? Man, your expectations are too high. That's right. I have high expectations. Thank you very much. Wow, Mike. Thank you very much, and I appreciate it. I like that. Let's see here. Ash. What's up? Did you give me a sound effect or something?
Or is that an old instant message? That was an old one about new releases. I gotcha. That's funny. Here's the new YouTube. Falling down. I think this was in the Watchmen too. It's on the soundtrack as well. When they were showing all the full frontal. Creepy. Traumatized. Blue weenies. There are blue weenies everywhere in that movie, dude. Take it easy. Don't take your kid. You loved it. Don't take your kid. It's an R-rated movie. Parents will be like, oh, it's a comic book. Oh, I'm sure it's just like a blood. No. It's boobs. It's weenies. No. That is not true. It's a porno, dude. Oh, my God. It is a porno. Sky. It is not a porno. That is not true. It's a good porno, but it's a porno. Oh, my. I enjoyed the movie. Just saying. You're weird. Watchmen, bro. Today is a big nerd holiday. It is Square Root.
This only occurs nine times every century. So you guys should really cherish it. It's very good. What is the deal? Today is 3309. Square root of nine, of course. So three to the third is nine. To the third power. That is a stretch. What is a stretch? Just like three to the third power equals nine. Come on. Well, what's the square root of nine? I don't know, six, 13. You are cute. I'm not good with education. I'm not either. You are cute. Yeah, so the teacher who puts together a website and celebrates this says that days like these are like calendar comets. You wait and you wait for them. And then they come and they do. They brighten up your day. What do we do? And then poof. What are you supposed to do today? Math? I'm not good at math. What do you do if you're not good at math? Then you're not a nerd. You don't get to enjoy it. I'll watch math on TV. There you go.
Britney Spears is the new spokesperson for candies. What is candies? Or just in general, just candy. Yeah, like Three Musketeers bars, Snickers, Twinkies, Skittles. No, it's a line of clothing and shoes. They have a line that's exclusively sold at Kohl's, and prior it was, what, Hayden Pantieri? who was doing it, whatever her name is. Do girls like that stuff? Ash, you know. Is that good stuff? Do girls think that's lame? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Candies, yeah. Candies are cool? Anything that's sold at Kohl's is really, you know, I endorse. Yes. Oh, you guys, I got a 30% coupon in the mail yesterday. Oh, you scored. I did. I did. I don't want to have this argument again. It's been 15 years. I know, but last time you and Eddie almost scratched each other's eye out. I got a 30. And I'm going to spend it. Yeah, you are. Congratulations, Skye. You deserve it. Yeah. You worked hard for that. I heard that the 30% ones are never, ever issued. I get them every month, Mike. Mike, don't. They're the pot. Oh, I'm not. They're very rare. I don't want to go there. They're very rare and coveted. They're very rare and coveted. And I'm going to go to Kohl's and look for Britney Spears candies. Do you have a gold member? A gold? Not too bad over there.
Are you a gold number? I think so. Mike. 570. That explains a lot. 105.3. Call me right now. I got the 30% off coupon, bro. Mike. You can talk about anything you want. I'm going to get me a new Sonic Care. Let's move on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I am. Nobody cares. I've been using a regular toothbrush for a while now and it's not. You're going to get the what? Sonic Care. Is that the squirter? What? Save that clip. Please save that clip. Please someone save that clip. What? It was a Sonicer. Yeah, that's a... Let's turn this puppy on here. How's that half in the back tooth there? So, hello? Now go. Mikey Show, hello. P-H-I to the L-O-Y in the hip. What's... You almost sounded kind of sad right there, Philly. No, not... Hey, I'm still... I'm still trying to apologize over yesterday. I'm getting all kinds of feedback. Oh, it's okay. What's going on, Philly's Finest?
I would just like to send out a quick congratulations and happy birthday to my friend Becky, who delivered yesterday. Oh. Becky! She delivered a nine-pound baby girl. Oh. It says here that you wanted to say happy birthday to somebody, so I'm guessing the person that you're saying happy birthday to is the new baby? Yeah. Oh, wow. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, baby. Yeah. Eat a lot of cake, baby. That's right. It's your birthday. It's your birthday. Thank you, Philly's Finest. I'll see you guys Friday. All right, dude. P1 Cranes. Yes. What's up, Mikey? What's up, dude? Hey, I have a wrestling question for the Oracle. Go ahead. Ooh, let's do this. All right. We're in WrestleMania mode. The road to WrestleMania, yes. WrestleMania 1. What future superstar was sitting in the crowd? When Jimmy Superfly Snooker leaped off the top of the cage onto his opponent. First of all, that did not happen at WrestleMania 1. Clear it up. Okay, I'm sorry. It happened at Madison Square Garden. You are correct on that. All right. And it was Mick Foley who was in the audience. I'm an old broken down piece of meat. He did the old Ram Jam on Don Morocco. Oh, not the Ram Jam. That was before the main event, which was the Ayatollah. No, that wasn't WrestleMania. That was not at WrestleMania.
Thank you very much for the call. Nice try, young man. Miguel. Hi, Mikey. What's up, dude? Hi. Look, I've been a listener before stalker Amy. Oh, dude, that is a long time. I don't recall what this subject is. But listen, my life is a mess. I had the tremendous argument that... basically made a decision that I'm going to end, my wife and I are going to end our 13 years of marriage. I can't be mad this morning. I listen to you guys every morning. I'm glad, dude. I'm glad we were able to bring a smile to your face, brother. I love you and everyone. Thank you. Thank you, dude. I appreciate that. And I'm glad we're able to help you get through that, man. Good luck. Oh, great. Right on, brother.
All right. P1 Knuckles. Hey, Mikey. What's going on? What's up, dude? I got a question for the Oracle, Mr. Eddie. Is it a wrestling question? No, it's not a wrestling question. That's fine. I take all questions. I'm not a broken down piece of meat. I'm not a broken down piece of meat. Hey, I heard a Sports Illustrated reporter on the radio talk about how he doesn't think that LT is going to be back next season. I don't know if you heard that, but I heard it on a sports talk radio station. You know, they're saying that, hey, you know, it's good news. It's probably some good news that, you know, they haven't talked too much about LT, and he's all, well, he's all, I can't really get in too much about this, but, you know, basically I don't see, it doesn't look good pretty much is what he was saying. And it kind of led it on to believe, like, maybe he knew something but just can't say about it yet. I don't know if you've heard anything about it. Well, the only person from Sports Illustrated that I would trust on this subject would be Jim Trotter. That's who it was. Well, Jim Trotter, he used to cover the Chargers. He's based here in San Diego. He's pretty close to those guys. And if he's saying it doesn't look good, I mean, that guy knows what he's talking about. And, you know, that would be scary. And he's got a lot of contacts within the Chargers organization.
No. But, you know, I don't necessarily, I wouldn't freak out yet. I mean, I would give this, you know, at least a little bit longer, maybe another month before we start going, what the heck is going on around here? You know, I think they're still trying to work it out. I think they have to figure it out. If you're the Chargers, you can't go into next season without LT. I mean, you have the base of a Super Bowl team, and that includes LaDainian Tomlinson, you know, one of the greatest running backs of all time. And so if your goal is to win a championship, I think you've got to do it with LTE at running back. I think you have to. It freaks me out, Eddie, because you've got guys like draft expert Mel Kiper predicting that the Chargers are going to take a running back with their first pick. And it makes me think, what are people knowing? What are people hearing? What's going on? A lot of it is speculation. A lot of it is rumor. And a lot of that is caused from the Chargers themselves and A.J. Smith not really addressing the situation. And if they were to tell us, like, hey, listen, you know, our goal is to sign LT. Our goal is to, you know, re-sign this guy and make, you know, adjust his contract or whatever they're trying to do, you know, and we're going to get this done. Then I think that would relieve some of this, you know, speculation. But the fact is, you know, they're not really talking about it. And what we're not talking about is fueling the flames of these rumors. I agree. And, you know, so it is what it is. Let's see. P1 Caesar.
Eddie, you say that every time. Cesar, you're the last call. Bring us home. That's a legitimate question. On the girly bike? No, it wasn't a girly bike. Did you make it? I did not. I was almost on my deathbed. He was almost killed. He was laying in a pool of his own blood. He was bleeding his own blood. And it turned out he was bleeding his own blood. That's weird. And he was laying in it. That's right. Thank you for the call. The lovely and talented Missy is up next today. She has the all request lunch hour. Make sure you tune in. We'll see you tomorrow morning at 530. The Mikey Show's out.
