As soon as we sign on, we're right about to talk. Seconds from about to talk, and you go, go to little boys or little girls. Like seconds before. And you go, oh, no. It's nothing serious. It's just, you know, obviously, it's not like an emergency, but it's definitely one of those. Just let it go, dude. I gotta sneeze. Oh, I hate when it goes away. Oh, I wanted it. Only the pee goes away, and then the sneeze came. Reading would be cool. Yes. That's what I was thinking. Sneeze would be good. Well, you know, welcome to the program. Good morning, everybody. 6.05. Well, it looks like that shaman dude who told Paris Hilton to give a diamond necklace to a stranger, well, he also works as an actor. Randy Moss is going to remain with the New England Patriots. Re-signs for three years, $27 million. Woo!
I'm sure he'll play real hard. Down guy, that's him. That's what they say. He gives it his all every play. Now that he got paid, I'm sure he's going to really play hard. You know, the rap on Randy Moss is how he even beats Jerry Rice in terms of workout regimens. Work ethic. Blocking downfield. Exactly. Not a playoff. Doesn't take one playoff. Well, welcome. Welcome to you. Oh, sorry, Rob. Oh, he could hear that? Yeah, he could. I think so, unfortunately. Oh, bummer. Oopsie doodle. Welcome to the program. My name is Mikey. My name's Mike, but I need to say Mikey on the air. So weird. Well, your name's actually Michael. Well, nobody's ever called me that. Except my mom when she was really, really mad. Oh, really? What would happen with that? Oh, Jesus.
I haven't heard this. She would grit her teeth. She would grit her teeth and she would say, Michael. It was usually because she was in the garage, I remember. That's where we kept the hamper. Where my dirty clothes went. Yeah, because the washing machine was out in the garage. Why would she be upset about that? She wanted to be able to take the clothes right from the hamper and put them right into the wash. She didn't want to have the hamper. See... If we had the hamper indoors, it would make it easy for us kids. Hamper was in the girls. Hey, listen. It is what it is. Today is a big day for Texas, Ohio, Vermont. Where else? Texas, Ohio, Vermont, Rhode Island. That Cindy McCain is pretty. She's gorgeous. She's a pretty lady. She really is pretty. Is she like a supermodel? I don't know. What's she doing? Did he marry her out of...
Ford Modeling Agency or something? She really is good looking. Anyway, so that's a very exciting thing that we will talk about. Lots of crazy stuff in the news to talk about. And your phone calls. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call at the beginning and end of every show with anything you want. It's up to you. You can call about anything. So we encourage your phone calls. Comments on TV. Questions for the show. the only thing that we would ask you to maybe shy away from is hey I'm just calling to say hi you know the rules of the P1 are when you call in you turn your radio down you get to the point and you don't cuss so as long as you got something you're calling about you're good to go and you also turn new P1's onto the Mikey show so you're always out there creating more P1's that's a thing that you do and And that's it. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He's 34 years old and announced to us not that long ago that he's starting to find what I got, the little gray hairs coming out on the goatee. Yeah, I got a few of them. Just a couple right now, right? Yeah. That's good news. What's happening with you? A really exciting day yesterday, guys. Whoa! I spent four hours shredding documents. It was a lot of fun. Oh, that is a good time.
Shut up. Shredding documents. I decided to clean out some of my files, which I don't know why I have some of this stuff. Right. I have bank statements from 1992. Right. I'm like, why did I keep all this for so long? Yeah. It's just ridiculous stuff. So I got a shredder, and I'm like, all right, I'm going to shred all this stuff. It'll be real quick. Yeah. It was real quick. Because when you get these shredders, they're not made for that kind of work. They're made to shred a couple of things, and then you're done. Well, if you've got four hours worth of stuff, the motor overheats, and it has to cool down, and then you can start shredding again. And so I kept having to go through that process, and it was really a good time. It would have been quicker to get a wood chipper, probably. I would just burn it. I'd just throw it in the fireplace next time. If you had to take a guess, how much... You know those boxes that people carry reams of paper in? Mm-hmm. Let's get everybody on the same page. So let's say everybody's picturing those boxes that have the cardboard lids that you pull on and off of them. Yeah. About how much stuff did you have that you had to shred? You had to put folders in those things. I would say probably a good, you know, a full box worth. A full thing of them. Yeah. Holy cow. Yeah, I mean. How many pages can you do at a time?
I would go no more than three to four at a time because I felt like the shredder would struggle at four. And I didn't want to push it. I didn't want no jams. I didn't want to deal with any kind of situations. And so I ended up with, you know, like the plastic grocery bags, you know, from Vons or whatever. Right. We have a bunch of those. I don't know why. And I grabbed those and I put. all of the shredded stuff in those. I probably had 15 bags when all was said and done that I threw away. Wow. Totally did. He did. Let's just say he did. Of course. I want to make sure the environment is very green. Very healthy environment. Thank you, Eddie. Saving the planet. Skye is our news girl. She's 30 years old. Hi. And And Skye, do you have a favorite type of food? No. You do not. You can't pick one exact favorite type. No. You like what you like, and that's the deal. Yeah, because with each type of food, I only enjoy one or two things. So I can't say, oh, I'm all in on this. What's happening with you? You got anything new going on? Well, we decided to make a healthy lasagna last night, and I shredded my finger in the cheese grater. Let's take a look. Oh, that's terrible. Yeah.
It was pretty bad. Scott, are you okay? Yeah. We got a bleeder! Are you doing? Are you okay? Me and the boo, we have differences when it comes to peroxide. He is a huge fan of peroxide. And every cut, no matter how big or small, should be treated with peroxide. Windex. Windex. And obviously my antibacterial soap and neosporin was not enough. And I got a thorough talking about the benefits of peroxide. Did you put a band-aid on there? Yeah, I washed it with antibacterial soap. Let me see what you got. I put Neosporin on it. Okay, I see. And then a Band-Aid on it. Band-Aid's good. And then it started to bleed through the Band-Aid, and he proceeded to tell me if I would have used peroxide, it wouldn't have bled through the Band-Aid. How's that? How's that? According to the boo, peroxide helps to stop the bleeding. Oh. It's a coagulant. I don't know. He could be making that up. It cleans out the cut. Well, that's what I thought. Hey, Eddie. I guess there's many benefits to peroxide that we're not all aware of. You shouldn't be apologizing, Eddie. You're a doctor. You're just speaking from what you know. I kind of do. I'm not a doctor.
I do know that. So the lasagna tasted great. Probably a nice little chunk of skin in the cheese somewhere. But hey, who are we to judge? I'm sure Sean would have enjoyed an extra slice. I don't think so. Who are we to judge? Rob is into inventing things. I think that Rob should work on a better cheese grater. Yeah. That'd be nice. They're dangerous. They are. I don't like using them. Every time I use them, I feel like I'm handling rattlesnakes. Yeah. I hate to use them. Sean is our sound effects guy, and he has really taken to the buttoned shirt. He really has. I mean, usually they don't come on until much later in the morning. He wears an undershirt most of the time, but I've noticed that over the course of the last week or so, the undershirt is on early, and it's fetching. Strapping. It is. It is. Well, they fixed the A.C. in the studio finally, Mike. So it's not 85 degrees in here today. Interesting to note, Sean used to have to do the show topless. It was warm in there, and he would do the show topless. And then it got a little better, went to the undershirt, and now that the air is fixed, here we are. What's going on with you, Sean? Anything?
Nothing much, really. I just had a weird thing happen last night when I was leaving the radio station. You know, we're next to a commuter train station, so there are always a lot of cabs around. So I'm driving down the street, and right in front of me is a cab heading in the wrong direction, like heading toward me the wrong way on the street. And he's trying to turn to get into the train station, but he's in the middle of a... Four-lane road, like a major thoroughfare, doing a three-point turn. Whoa. Right in the middle of the street. That is weird. Dude, cabs, like, not all of them, but some of them, man, they just don't care. That's true. They really don't. It really is true. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years old. Did your fella get back yesterday? Yeah. Yeah? I picked him up from the train station. The train station. Wow. He arrived from 1942. Tough to go to Australia on the train. That's right. Weird how he did that. Did the conductor pull out his pocket watch and tell you what time he was arriving? Yes. Her fella stepped off the train and he took his hat off and gave her a big hug. His fedora. That's right. His fedora. I was waiting for him with my umbrella. That's right. Yeah. With your big hat. Well, they call it a parasol. That's right. Oh, wow. You're correct, Sean. My bad.
So, uh, Ash, I guess that's what's new in your life and what's going on. Yeah, that's what's up. Yeah, no, he came, uh, I picked him up from the train station because he, that poor boy, like, traveled, like, 19 hours. Yeah. You know, it was, like, a 12-hour flight from, like, Hong Kong to here and then a layover and then another, like, nine-hour flight. Right. And then the train, because from LAX to Old Town and then I picked him up and he was just, like, wrecked. I felt so bad for him. But, dude, check this out. What? What did he bring you? brought me gifts, right? Mm-hmm. And one of the gifts that he got... Oh, now she's gonna cry. ...was a freaking penguin from a Buddhist temple in Beijing. Pajing. So sweet. Pajing. That is really sweet. That's very cute. One of those places. She's holding it in her hand right now. Pajing. Over there. Pajing. Sorry with a P. That's what that's called. Oh, really? This little... I'm like, who's the penguin and finds it in a Buddhist freaking temple and gets it? For the love of their life. I don't know why. Love of their life? But my man. But my man. That is interesting. Now, I want to let people know they are not. Wait, Mike. They are not. You know what they're not. No, they're not. You don't even need to say it. And by the way, I agree with you, Eddie. My left hand going, it's like the best gift ever. Man is really, really sweet. It's a freaking dress and leggings. Wow. Speaking of dress and leggings, Boston Rob is our phone screener.
He is a singer-songwriter. Good friend of ours. And Rob's getting married, by the way. Uh-huh. Is that still happening? Oh, yeah. Oh, wow. I haven't heard much about it. I know. We don't talk about it very much. I wish we would talk about it more. I want to know what's happening. What's new with you? Not much planning going on. Yeah? I mean, we ain't got that much money, so... Kind of waiting. She is very different from him. She is very well-spoken, very articulate, and whereas Rob says, we ain't got much money, she would say something like, well, you know, funds are tight. Just the differences, but the differences are, they make them, that's what attracts. The opposites attract. Anything new going on now? No. I'm inventing that cheese grater thing right now, though. He's drawing it? Oh, boy. Yeah, I got the drawing. I'm going to come in there and break. There you go. I think I got this figured out. All right. Oh, man. Now, I don't want any... Now, Rob, it needs to be simple like the cheese grater is. You know, you don't have to plug a cheese grater in. This is as simple, just less work. Okay. I just don't want something I plug in. Something real easy. Absolutely not. There you go. You know what else would be great about it? Let me give you another idea for the cheese grater that would improve upon the cheese grater.
I want a cheese grater, A, that I'm not afraid of, and B, that's super easy to clean. Oh, yeah. Right now, they're not easy to clean, and they're scary to clean. Yeah, and every time you clean it, you end up wrecking your sponge or your cleaning thing. You, like, shred it. Yeah, because you have to only clean it in one direction. Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. Which is just lame. Like a porcupine. A porcupine. And you know what? Right. Well said. The cheese is all stuck up on the other side of the porcupines. And so you got to get in there. I think I got it. Eddie, what is it? Tell me. How? What? Sorry, Rob. I think I can invent this. What is it? Oh. What you do. You get your block of cheese. Yeah. All right. And you put it in like a plastic piece. Oh, right. Okay. And you put it on a cheese grater. Okay. Okay. And this is an electric cheese grater. Okay. So I do have to plug it in there. You would have to. It's already battery operated. Okay. All right. And it will grate it on its own. And then to clean, all you do, you'll have a removable piece that comes, you know, that did the actual grating. Yeah. And that's dishwasher safe. You put it in the dishwasher. Oh, nice. Okay. That's pending.
Well, let me tell you, it will have to be a plug-in. And I'll tell you what, it'll have to be a plug-in. That motor's going to have to be good and strong to take hard cheese and go... And I'll have to make that noise. But I like it. Just like a porcupine. That's right. Mine's better. I'll come in there and show you. No chance. I'm telling you. No chance yours is better than that. A baby could use this when I'm creating. Dude, really think about that cleaning part, though, man, because I hate that. It's critical. This thing can go in the dishwasher. It's safe, easy if you want to use your hands to clean it. It doesn't matter. I'm telling you. Wait until I show you this design I drew up. He's not smart. I know. We had a, what do you call it? We had like a plastic cheese grater the last, it lasted us four years. It was really great. It finally broke. And so I had to go get a new one. I hate the new one. Isn't that suck when you got something and you have it like forever? Right. You have it so long they don't make it anymore, but it was real good. Wow. And so you go to get the same exact thing. They don't carry it anymore. Like, they don't make it anymore. And you're like, why? They were good. I just buy the shredded cheese. You do? Yeah. I love to shred my cheese. Yeah, I just buy the shredded cheese. I'm good. Not as fresh. Really? Yeah. Good. Less work. Zethi and Oates. Oh! There he is. By the way, 570-1053 if you want to call us. We're going to take your phone calls live here in just a second.
and see what you're up to. It's anything you want. Open phones. Zeth has an announcement to make. Wow. I'm ready. Drum roll, please. Drum roll. Oh, my gosh. I'm on the edge of my seat. I'm on the edge of my seat. I told him I want him to announce this, so it's not his announcement. What is he announcing? This is huge. I don't know what I'm announcing. That's right. I really don't. Ladies and gentlemen, I'll announce it for him. Thanks, Mike. What's up? What's up? Well, Zeth has a girlfriend. Oh, what? I mean, that's what I think is so... Wait, I don't know if that's the announcement. What's his name? That's not the deal? He said that he's free to now talk about the girl he's dating. Okay. Well, my bad. That is different than a girlfriend. But I did hear he got married. Yeah, I heard he's married. So, Zeth, what's the child's name? How's the honeymoon? That moves fast. Yeah. Okay. All right. No. No boyfriend-girlfriend status. That was my mistake. I don't know why I thought that, but I did. Because you always think that? I always do. I always jump ahead. People call somebody the love of their life, and I'm jumping to conclusions. It's your fault. But Zeth, tell me something. So you've gone on dates, but you are not official. Right. Okay, but it's cool to talk about. Yeah. Haven't you only been going out with her for like a week? Yeah. Well, tell me about her.
Tell me about her. What do you want to know? I want to know what her personality is like. Her personality is awesome. Like, the best thing about her, which is kind of different from a lot of people that I've hung out with or met, is that she's very well-spoken and she always has something to say that is relevant to the situation. Nice. Oh, shit. Like, a huge thing for me that I never realized that I wasn't, you know, realizing that... Dude, opposites attract. That's right. It is true. Rude. How... Are you guys, like, on the phone together a lot? You do the text messaging and all that stuff? Norm MacDonald, you like that text stuff, right? You like the Norm. Don't you like it when they do that? Oh, Norm. Yeah. Text message? What? I want to hear. What, Norm MacDonald? Let me say this. Yeah, please. What is he saying, Zach? I think it's great. He's saying it. He thinks it's great. Thank you, Norm. Thank you. All right. Thank you, Norm. That's Norm MacDonald. And so I'm missing something. What do I want to know? I want to know a lot, but I want to know everything. She's gorgeous. She's about his age. They're spending a lot of time together. They're in that stage of, you know, we need to spend a lot of time together. It's kind of like this. It's kind of like this. It's kind of like if somebody says to you, you can know the answers to everything. So what do you want to know? You're like, I want to know everything. Where do I begin? So, well, I guess we'll just kind of get it out of him as we go along.
Yeah, hopefully we'll meet her. Yeah, will we meet her anytime soon, Seth? Yeah. All right, cool. Eddie, be cool, man. I want to know how. Well, Seth's birthday's coming up, and we're all going to go out. You guys have been invited? Well, we were brainstorming this morning. Ideas we have so far is Del Taco. Del Taco has been suggested as well as Applebee's. That's where we're at with that. You guys have fun. Mike, you weren't here. You weren't here yet. Sorry, Mike. I mean, I thought of all people. That's messed up, not inviting Mike. You're done. What the hell? Your phone call is at 570-1053. P1 Luds, what's going on? Hey, Mike. I want to talk about lost for a second. Oh. You want to what? You want to say again? Talk about lost. Yes, please do. I got my girlfriend hooked. We've been renting all the season. We've been renting. We just finished the first season. But I've seen all of them. And about three weeks ago, there was when it was showing the past.
helicopter pilot in, like, an office or something, and it had a 1-800 number, like, flash on the screen for a second. I was wondering if anybody that watched the show had called it. Where was there an 800 number? Yeah, I don't remember that. There was, like, a 1-800 number that said Oceanic Flight, and it was on the TV that he was watching, and I called the number, and the number had a recording for Oceanic Flight 815, and it said, there's a... recording for updates on the flight. We're still in investigation, and we're sorry for your loss if you are a family member or a friend of the flight. They're great. Maybe Scott can look into it. They're great. Do you have the number? Do you have the number? No, I don't. Oh, dude. Somebody does. We'll find it, and we'll call it on the air. Thank you for the call. That show is so brilliant. That's what they do. They put these weird things, they build these weird things into the TV show that people catch. And then you go on the internet or you make phone calls and get scared by creepy things you hear. It's really a fun show to interact with. P1 Jesse. Yeah, I just first off wanted to start off by saying good morning to everybody. I love your show. I listen to you guys religiously every morning. Nice.
And also, I had a comment about your finding of gray hairs on your goatee. I just turned 21 in September, and I'm almost completely gray over my entire face. So I hope you guys don't feel too bad because that'll just make me feel even worse. Wow. Jeez. You're very distinguished for 21. Well, you know, it's something that my girlfriend, she tells me that she likes it, but I kind of, it makes me feel bad because I feel... You know, like, I get that image of an older man when I'm only, you know, just, like I just said, over 21. That's hot. It happened to my brother, and he has, like, he's, like, practically all the way gray. How old is he? And he's 27. Wow, man. And he's been gray, like, salt and pepper for a couple years now. That's sexy. But you know what? You just got to rock it, bro. Yeah, rock it, dude. Turn a negative into a positive and just rock it. Rock it. Next thing you know, everyone's going to want gray hair your age. Watch. Silver Fox. There you go. I love it. That's what my lady says. That's right, baby. Thank you guys. I appreciate it. You got it, dude. Bye-bye. We'll see you later. Guess what? We got the hotline for Oceanic Air. Oh, really? So why don't we do this? Take a call. By the way, Rob, tell Line 6 to hold. Tell them to hold. Well, take another call. Then we'll take a timeout. And when we come back,
We'll call this number that people only saw on a TV screen on your TV screen. That's awesome. So one more call and we'll do that. P1 Jesse, you there? I was calling about the cheese grater thing, how you said you were upset after yours broke for four years. Right. My parents got a divorce last year and they got so bitter that when they started dividing everything and it came down to the kitchen, they actually got in a week-long fight over who got their cheese grater. Who got it? They didn't want to buy a new one. They liked the one that they each had to the past however long. Who ended up getting it? My mom did, and she's proud of it. Every time she uses it, when we're over there, she goes, oh yeah, remember the fight over this cheese grater? I got it. What does it look like? What's it like? It is like this ghetto little cheese grater that they're obsessed with. It just has a wooden handle, and it's like a rectangle, and it's metal. But it shreds it like in five minutes and it's really easy to wash and it's like 15 years old. That is so funny, man. A good cheese grater is hard to find. I fought over it. That's funny, man. All right. Hey, Jessie, thanks for the call. Have a great day. You too. Okay. So here's what we're going to do. We got, first of all, lots of stuff on the show today. We are, I believe.
Is it true? I think I saw Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken out in the hallway. Wow. That is weird. Out in the hallway. That's crazy. They were doing like subway graffiti on the walls here at Clear Channel. Tagging? Yeah, they were tagging with spray cans. And so I saw Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken out there. Who knows? They might show up on the air. That would be great. Also, have you heard this story about Rufus the Stunt Bum? This guy used to be on those videos, those bum fights. And this guy gave this guy a chance, turned his life around. He no longer drinks, and he's getting his life together. Rufus is. Rufus is coming in, and so is the guy that gave him a shot at life. So they're both going to be in the studio. How about this? You ever caught somebody on a hidden camera? Sean has a story about that. I'm not talking anything sexual. I'm not talking about that. What I'm talking about is... Sean suspected that his neighbor was dumping cigarette butts in his yard. So he set up a video camera. We'll tell you about that. And we're going to ask you, too, anything like that ever happened to you. And we'll call. We will actually call this Oceanic Airlines hotline coming up after this break. Pablo Francisco in the stand-up spotlight. The Mikey Show stand-up spotlight. The Mentos commercial. Mentos. Remember those commercials?
Mentos, they always have a happy ending. Could be a guy robbing a bank and still have a happy ending. It doesn't matter what comes. Freshness better with life. Mentos freshness cool. Nothing gets to you like mental. Calls every morning that people will pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Shawn stuff. Everyone of you are great. Thank you. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, what's up, man? This is T1 Steven calling in about the AIS insurance. What's going on, man? Hey, I gave him a shot, called him. I had insurance back home from my home state of Nebraska and actually called in hoping they could beat it. And that's kind of crazy because I beat it by 300 bucks every six months. Whoa. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Because, I mean, as you know, it's probably cheaper back there than insurance. Absolutely. Yeah, and saved me 300 bucks. And, yeah, I'm pretty stoked. And I wanted to personally thank you. Dude, I think that's awesome.
Did you go down and fill out your paperwork and all that yet? I did. I went out to the Escondido location. Very nice. They hooked it up and they told me to tell you what's up and all that good stuff. Was it easy? It was way easier. It took me like two minutes on the phone driving down the freeway. You said $300 every six months, so $600 a year. Yeah, it probably would have cost me, you know. It went up to like $800 after I got in an accident and then it went down to like $400 here. Dude, that's awesome. So it's pretty crazy. So I appreciate it. Thank you very much. And yeah. Congrats, bro. All right, take it. We'll see you. There's Steve. Steve or Steven, I don't remember. You said Steven? Listen, call AIS right now. 1-800-777-4AIS. 1-800-777-4247. That guy's story could be yours. I missed the March 2nd deadline. That's okay. You can still apply for financial aid. It's available year-round. What's the hurry, son? The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I find that I am actually afraid of many animals. Eddie. I train my brain to try and move objects. Sky. I am extremely frugal and pretty much only buy things. When they're on sale. Sean. I tend to think a lot about creating inventions for law enforcement. Boston Rob. I'm the only guy I know that's able to pull off, getting pulled over in the courthouse parking lot wall park. And get a ticket. And Ashley. I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. The Mikey Show's on. It's worth every penny. Rock 105.3. Yeah, welcome back. It's a Mikey show. It is 639. A 37-year-old girl softball coach from Carlsbad is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl from his team. The Atlanta Falcons released running back Warwick Dunn after signing Michael Turner. It's pretty funny. They asked guys about trendy haircuts for dudes. They said, what percentage of you guys...
say that a trendy haircut that's going on for guys is a must. 51% of them said yes, it is. 49% said it's a don't. I would be in the minority of 49%. I have a shaved head. Eddie, you don't like it either, right? Lou's actually, for the first time since I've known him, growing his hair out to try and do that, like, cool guy long hair look. I'm very nervous about the whole, I don't ask him, I don't know. How long has he been doing it? Or he's thinking about doing it? No, he's been doing it. Like, he probably needed a haircut about a month ago. Really? Yeah. So it's getting to the point where it's, like, now starting to curl, and he keeps trying to style it the way he's always styled it, but it's now too long for that. And I'm kind of letting him do his thing. We'll see. He also bought a jean jacket and an iRock. Shut up.
So when we came back, I said I was going to call this number. Because, you know, this TV show Lost is great, okay? What they do is, is they will give these little clues on the show. Because the show is, I don't know, what's the best way to describe it? It's like a whole thing's a mystery. You don't really know what's up on that show. And that's the way they do it. This guy, J.J. Abrams, that developed it, he's a genius. Same guy that did Cloverfield. And he's come up with this thing of, like, he knows. what people are into nowadays. Like for that movie Cloverfield, you see cell phones and you see YouTube type stuff and you see, you know, it's the stuff that's in our lives right now.
lost same thing you'll see clues on that show and you can go research them on the internet or you can pick up your phone and try it out it's just they go by so fast like you know eddie and sky they love this show so much when that guy said the phone number both of them were like what what so like some stuff can go by so fast you don't even remember it yeah well this was one of them so we got the number let's call it and see what it is Thank you for calling the Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 hotline. Information is updated as the investigation proceeds. Investigations are thorough and as such may take a period of time to complete. At this time, we do not have any additional information regarding the crash of Flight 815. If you are a family member or relative of a passenger on Oceanic Flight 815, we are sorry for your loss. Detailed information is given during the daily family briefings.
This briefing updates families on the progress of the investigation and allows for questions to be asked of the medical examiner or coroner and other parties connected to this investigation. Please contact your accident coordinator or call back later for more information. I don't want an actress. It's a girl. So read this information. That's fantastic. So cool. That is fantastic. Now, in and what it said, do you guys gather anything just based on what it said? Or it's just basic, right? I thought it was pretty...
Basic. I didn't really pick up anything. But knowing the way they operate, it wouldn't surprise me if you punched in, like, the numbers or if you punched in, like, 815 or something. If it maybe took you to, like, a separate secret message. Like, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Like, if you hit pound or something. Do you want to mess with it? Let's mess with it. But I'm scared. Let's mess with it and see if anything happens. Let's try it again. Okay, okay. What are the numbers again? 4, 8. Yes, Skye. I am me the numbers. For those of you that don't know, in the show Lost, there's been these series of numbers that have been consistent for the last four seasons. It's like 8, 15. 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. Thank you for calling the Oceanic Airlines flight 815. Let's see what happens when I press pound. As the investigation proceeds. Investigations are thorough. And as such may take a period of time to complete. At this time, you do not have any additional information. Nothing for star. Nothing for pound. If you are a family member or relative of a passenger. Well. Maybe the numbers. We are sorry for your loss. Four. Detailed information is given during the daily family briefing. This briefing updates families on the progress of the investigation. And allows for questions to be asked.
Nope. Nope. Zero, didn't work. I pressed every button. Blows. That gets me back into the show. It was so great. That show is so great. It's not as great as what Randy Moss is experiencing right now because he just signed a three-year, $27 million contract. Yes. Which is a lot of money. It's an awful lot of money. I guess this dream of reuniting with Dante Culpepper is not going to happen. I guess not. Let's see. Speaking of Matthew Fox on the show Lost, he apparently has been talking about...
I don't know what, Sky, his past and breaking the law or what? Well, yeah, because, you know, quite a few people on the law show have had problems, mainly like DUIs and stuff like that, you know, over the years. And so Matthew Fox was doing an interview when he was asked about, you know, gosh, you seem to stay out of trouble and have a squeaky clean past. And I guess he didn't really like that very much and decided he was going to talk about what a bad boy he is. So he goes on. to say that he you know has not got in trouble due to illegal activities but that doesn't mean that he's never done anything illegal he tells empire magazine quote i break the law all the time i've done plenty of illegal narcotics But I think everyone knows everybody knowingly breaks the law pretty often, don't they? And then he goes on to tell this story about him and his wife going to Jamaica 15 years ago and what a crazy trip it was and how they were just baked the whole time. Really? They got sick but decided to keep on smoking because that would make them feel better. He's very hard. He's very hard, Matthew Fox. We're all very impressed and you're a tough guy. So let's try this. I'm very curious where...
our thoughts are on the following things. Now, I have statistics here on women and what they say is a do and what they say is a don't. But what I want to know is what do us guys think? Okay? And then we'll go into what the ladies think. Okay? The topic was over the knee boots. I love it. Eddie, picture them. Okay. You got it? Do or don't? Wow. I think they're kind of sexy, but could be very skanky. I'm going to side with don't. Okay. How did I get that wrong? Sean said. Sean, are over-the-knee boots a do or a don't? No, I was just reinforcing what Eddie said. They're a little don't, man. Oh, okay. They're, like, really gross. Gross!
by the way. Yeah, gross. Rob. These aren't like the Uggs we're talking about, right? There's always a question. Can Ever just answer. I cannot ask a question. Just clarify. Have you ever seen over the knee Uggs? Uggs that go up past over your knee. You can say to Rob, what color is the sky? And he'll go, now we're talking nighttime. Northern lights? Yeah. Yeah, with the Northern Lights, there is... You mean the Aurora Boogie Alice? Because that's green, Mike. I definitely don't. I definitely don't. Zeth? Yeah, that's a don't. I'm the only do. Oh, really? Yeah, every guy on the show says that's a don't. I think they're really attractive. But, okay, now let's do this. Now, let's actually play the game to try to figure out what women... would say about this very topic. Over the knee boots. Eddie, do women say it's a do or a don't? Oh, wait, wait, wait. Let's start in a reverse order. Let's do a different order. Sky, do women say it's a do or a don't? They say it's a don't. Don't. Ash? I would say they say it's a do. They say it's a don't. Sean? Do. Eddie? 100% don't. Zeth? Don't. Let's see who was right.
Eddie was right. Zeth was right. Rob was right. Sky was right. Sean and Ash were wrong. 33% say it is a do. 67%. Overwhelmingly, women say it's a don't. If this was the year Pretty Woman came out, it would be a do. Or if they're strippers. Or if, yeah, they work. Is that the deal? Like Julia Roberts, she wore those in Pretty Woman? Oh, yeah, she did. She was a hooker. That's where she kept her protection. Okay. In those boots. All right, I got one more for you. What do we got? To do or don't. Okay. So you guys, and this is women were asked this. IMing at work. Is it a do or a don't? Oh, that's tough. Sean. Do. Eddie. Well, if you're Ashley... Well, now, are the guys guessing what they think or what they think the women... Yeah, we're thinking what women will say. What women will say. Yes, the question was asked of women. Is IMing at work a do or a don't? I'll say it's a do. Do. Zeth. Do. Ash. Do. Rob. Do. Skye. Well, I think they all do it, but I think part of...
They want to be like, oh, no, that's bad. That's irresponsible. It's a do. You guys are all right. You guys are all right. 59% of women say, oh, it's a do. You like to chat. You got to IM at work. 41% say, no, it is a don't. Mike, they can't ever shut up. That's so funny, Sean. All right. This is what the plan is. What's the plan? Well, we do have a plan. Ladies and gentlemen, the plan is when we come back. Dance party to this song. Interesting plan. There is no dance party when we come back. But when we come back, I am going to tell you. You know the shaman Paris Hilton was hanging out with? Shaman. Shaman. I'm going to tell you. We mentioned a little bit earlier. You may just be tuning in. When we come back, I'm going to tell you exactly who the shaman is. We know more about the shaman now. Ugh.
Don't squeeze the shaman, Eddie said. That is Snoop Dogg, by the way. Oh, yeah, it is. So when we come back, I'm going to tell you who the shaman is. Also, got to read you this email. This email, oh, man. This email strikes straight to the heart of you fellas. It's next. Know what stupid is. The Mikey Show is on. It's about to get old. There's no system rules here. There's such a thing as hell on earth. That's it. You've ever imagined. That's just for starters. You think? Silence, language, and some sexual content and nudity. Under 17, not admitted without parent. In theaters Friday, March 14th. Cricket phones are very cool, but even more cool than the phones are the plans and exactly what Cricket does with you as a company and more importantly, what they don't do to you as a company. No surprises. That's what I love about Cricket. You can budget.
for your cell phone bill, which, you know, you kind of can do that with other companies, but, you know, there'll be months when, you know, you're texting a lot or whatever, and your bill skyrockets, and you're like, oh, man, I didn't plan on, you know, an extra 20, 30 bucks for text messaging or whatever. Plus, there's nothing worse than when you get that, and you either have to take time out on your lunch hour or whatever, you're calling your cell phone company trying to figure it out, or you have to go down there, and there's a million people in line. These are the things that are good about cricket that you don't have to deal with when you go to cricket. Because it's free. Text messaging is for free. So that's huge. And then right now they got, for just $45 a month, unlimited talk, text, picture messaging, U.S. long distance. And plus, for a limited time only, you get free unlimited mobile web. So, I mean, you're not going to find a better deal anywhere. Plus, Pedro wanted me to be real clear about something. What's up? The other day, we said that Pedro will be your personal friend, and he called me, actually, and he said that even though he would like to be personally friends with everybody, that now that his celebrity has blown up, it's not that he doesn't like everybody, but it's hard to get to everybody's house and hang with them. I just wanted to let people know that Pedro's time is limited, and he meets with people on a...

After three MVPs, 17 seasons in the NFL, Brett Favre is retiring. Eddie just put his hands over his face. Eddie just put his hands over his face. Is he really, dude? Are you kidding? Oh, no.
Oh, gosh. I thought he was going to come back. Well, I don't know what's going on. You know, I'm really kind of surprised being that he had such a great year. Right. You know, they were one game away from the Super Bowl. Yeah. They're returning basically everybody. I'm pretty surprised. I am too, man. I mean, he looked, I mean, as old as he is, he looked good. Great player. Yeah. Handsome. Gorgeously rugged. Just. Okay. Put that guy in some flannel, you know what I mean? I absolutely know what you mean. And I met the PJs with the feet on them, specifically, you know what I mean? Comfy. So, we were talking about how Paris Hilton was driving around with a guy that looked like he was from the show Kung Fu. He had a long Fu Manchu, long hair, and
And he was called a shaman. Yeah, please. She was driving around and she was talking about enlightenment with him, with the shaman. Eddie said, don't squeeze the shaman. We wondered who, you know, who is this shaman? Where did he come from? Where did she find him? Then she gave like a real expensive diamond necklace to a pair of strangers and said, the shaman told her to do this. Whoa. Well, Skye, what do we now know? About said shaman. Well, TMZ.com is reporting that Paris' shaman is actually a Hollywood actor. Oh, that's stupid. He's been on shows like My Name is Earl. No. He's also been in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Right. It's impossible.
Um, so the pictures look very, very similar. Of course, you know, Paris or this guy are commenting to say, but, um, if you go to this actor's MySpace page, one of the first things on, like, on the very top of your MySpace page, you can put, like, a saying that describes yourself. And his is, Burbank can kiss my A. Oh, really? Well, that's certainly, apparently, uh, he didn't do well in the acting community. I don't know what's up there. I guess this is her thing, though. When she was a couple weeks ago when that movie Hottie or Naughty came out. The Hottie or the Naughty. The Hottie or the Naughty. Yeah. She did this where she showed up with the girl that played the Naughty who was in full makeup and stuff to a club and she got in and the Naughty didn't get in and the press was like... what are you doing? And it was all to promote the movie. But it was Paris thinking she was pulling one over on the media. And the media is like, you're an idiot. We know what's going on. So now this is the newest... I guess so. Yeah, the shaman is a new tool. It's her new instrument. Okay, so tell me what you guys think of this. Email we got. Mikey, I'm getting married in April after a long engagement. I originally asked for...
I originally asked four of my good friends to be groomsmen. Well, two of the guys I have asked I have lost touch with, it seems. They live on the East Coast and I do not talk to them very much anymore. I have become closer to the other two guys that I wish I could replace them with. Is this allowed? Or am I stuck with the original guys I asked? I don't know the proper way to handle this. What do you guys think? Signed, P1 Dean. So he wants to bump two and put two guys that he's closer with. Interesting. Yes. Instead. He had originally asked these four guys. Two of them, they live on the East Coast now. He doesn't talk to them that much anymore. Now, in the meantime, he has become much closer. To these new two guys. And so what do you do? What is the right thing to do? It's not easy. It's not easy. Great question. This is from P1 Dean. Now, this is who I want to hear from. Either people this has happened to or just people that have an opinion one way or the other. Call us at 570-1053 and it doesn't matter what area code you're calling from. That number will work. 570-1053. That's brutal.
This is tough. Eddie, what do you think? Well, you know, if he is honest with these guys and tells them, listen, we haven't talked very much lately. You guys are on the East Coast, so you're not going to be able to participate in a lot of the stuff that's going on. I need a lot of help with certain things. Would you guys mind bowing out? And I'll add these other two guys in. If he's just honest with them, There may be still some feelings hurt, but I think he may be able to get away with it. I agree 100%. I agree. I think that's what you do. You say, I think the only thing that I would do is I think I would ultimately ask, can you guys bow out? Through describing the situation, I would hope that they would interrupt and say, dude, don't worry about it. It's all good.
And maybe they do. If they don't, then I got to get to the end. And if I feel strongly enough about it, I say, hey, bro, would you mind bowing out? I will. I'll get there. But my hope is that they see where I'm going with this and they go, dude, don't even trip. Don't even stress about it. Now, the other school of thought is, is there anybody listening or is there anybody here on the show? Sky, Sean, Ash, Boston Rob, Seth. Is there anybody here on the show that thinks? Once you make a commitment to somebody, that's rude, messed up, not good character. Skye, what do you think? Yeah, honesty is not the best policy. I don't know if you've ever heard that saying. I don't know. It's an old school saying. It kind of lost its way through the years. But yeah, dude, no. You have asked these people. You've made a commitment. What's going to happen? It's rude. Okay, but it's rude to... go through the entire process of your wedding not having it exactly the way you want it to be. Like, that sucks. Dude, you made your bed, you know? So you can't fix it? Like, if these guys, like, wronged you in some way, okay. But just because, like, all of a sudden you've become tighter with two other dudes, like, no, I'm sorry. You asked. It's done. It's set. Sky, you're swaying me. Doesn't this mean...
That our character is kind of in question if we've made a commitment to somebody, but we're changing our mind based on geography. Is that what it means? Does it? I don't know. Because you knew about the geography in the beginning. It's not like these people up and move to the East Coast. Eddie, what do you think? You know, it's a tough situation. I'm not going to disagree with that. But if... If this is the way you want your day, I mean, you're only going to get married once, hopefully. Yeah. And if that's the way you want it, you should have it the way you want it. And, you know, me as your friend, I got to understand that. I got to respect that. I mean, it says they were engaged for a long time. And if I know that I haven't been that good of a friend, I'm not keeping in contact and I'm, you know, doing not the stuff I need to do, too. Yeah. It is what it is. I get it. Plus, it does bring up this thing of like, hey, listen, when we put something in motion, we realize that there may be a consequence to it. It's a possibility that the guy that we tell this to, it's a possibility their feelings may get hurt. However, I think that what is most important, like what you're saying, Eddie, what's most important is this is a day that is unlike other. You're not saying, hey, bro.
You know, I know that I invited you on that ski trip, but now I can only take a couple guys, me and this. Dude, this is a marriage, man. I mean, this is your day. It's going to live in infamy. You know, you want your best friends to stand by you on that day. And for me, when I got married last year, there was no doubt who my guys were. I never wavered. It wouldn't matter what the deal was. I mean, there was more people I would love to add. Thank you. But anyway... Now, do people know what that meant? That was really her thing. Well, no, it's just between me and Eddie. It doesn't need to be explained. I know it. It's just sweet. It's just sweet right now. Skye wanted to be a groomsman. She wanted to be a groomsman. She thought it would be important to be... But there weren't enough seats at the head table, so... That was why, right? Yes. But anyway, back to what you were saying. Yeah, what were you saying, Eddie? I'm so distracted now. I'm angry. What's up? Oh.
Oh, boy. So anyway, you know, you want your best dudes up there representing you, your best friends. And if this guy is not as close with these other guys and he's closer to other people, that's the way it is, you know? I mean, he wants his best friends up there. Check it out. P1 John has a little slogan about this. John, what is your slogan? Stay tight or lose out. Okay. I like the one on the screen better. What's that? The one on the screen says, you lose touch, you lose out. Yeah, same thing. I mean, I had 10 friends in high school that we were really tight. And for the last two years after high school, we stayed kind of close. And then everybody went their own directions. That was 23 years ago. Some of them I still talk to. They're my best friends. Some of them moved away. And they didn't get invited. They didn't even get invited. Okay, now wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. John, now this is, that's totally different. How is that totally different? They were tight friends. Some people said they were going to get married right after high school and said, hey, I want you to be in it and all that. Let me explain. Explain it. Let me explain. What we're talking about here is that this guy actually asked four guys to be his groomsmen. He's already engaged. Yes, he's already engaged. That's the difference. He's asked two of these guys to be his groomsmen.
Two of them have moved and he's not, he doesn't keep as close a contact with them as he used to. And in the meantime, he's made these two friends that he's very close with. So he wants to call those two guys that moved and say, guys, you're out. And these two new guys who I've become closer to are in. What do you think? What kind of time frame are we talking about? How long ago did he ask him and how long is he? not been in touch with him. He says, I'm getting married in April after a long engagement. I originally asked four of my good friends to be my groomsmen. So he doesn't say here the amount of time. Because it's like the Cheech and Chong thing, you know? Is it a week? A day? A weekday? I mean, how long has it been? It's a Cheech and Chong rule. Here's one problem that I know. What? Is that when you're getting married and you have your guys go get fitted for their tuxedos and stuff. Right. You have to do that at least a month out. If he's getting married in April, they're probably already going through that process. So he better catch this before they go get fitted, leave deposits, all that stuff for their tuxedos. Because if you've already done that, then you're committed. I fully understand what you guys are talking about because if he burns the bridges with these two guys, he may never ever reunite with them. It's just weird because it sounds like the bridges are kind of like...
faded away anyway you know i mean i don't know i i you don't want to i understand what you're saying you don't want to burn a bridge but at the same time you're going is there really a bridge left yeah well we kind of went through this with our wedding you did oh yeah what what how it's not what happened a fan okay oh no So, we had three people on each side. So, the boo picked one of his very close friends from work, his brother, of course, as the best man, and then there was one other spot. And it was between two guys who he grew up with. One, he was still currently tight with, and the other one, you know, they were really tight when they were younger, but not so much anymore. So, of course, it was a no-brainer that he was going to go with the one that he was still tight with. Now, these two guys lived together. Mm-hmm. So my husband's going to go hang out with them while the guy he's intending to ask, the guy who he's still tight with, is coming home late from work. So my hubby's over there partying, drinking a couple beers with the other guy, who the friendship has kind of fizzled a little bit. Gets a little buzz on, asks that guy to be.
one of his groomsmen and then and then and then regrets it and then it's coming to me going can you add another person on your side so i can add another person would it be wrong for me to go back and tell him you know what i didn't intend to ask you i actually meant to ask i'm like no dude you sorry you may this is just the way it's gonna be and so we ended up so mean Well, dude, what is he going to do? What can you help about? Well, what am I supposed to do? You don't have another friend you could add? No. Oh, that's right, you don't. I mean, really. I mean, the pool is very narrow. It's very shallow. Three was, you can't even fill that spot. I mean, if I had maybe met Ashley then, I mean, but no, I didn't, no. Basically, she's having to walk into Michael's and go, is there anybody here? Anybody? Anyone? Yeah, so sorry, dude. P1 Tommy, you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. Basically, you got to pick people that are going to be there that are, they're going to be there past your wedding, you know, five years from now, 10 years from now. So you see it as an investment. Yeah, it's an investment, dude. I got you. All right. P1 Chargette. Chargerette. P1 Chargerette. Go ahead. Hey, guys. Eddie really took the words out of my mouth. My opinion is...
This guy, hopefully you only get married once, and you need to have the people who are closest to you there with you, not somebody who you've lost touch with. I mean, those guys are gone. Yeah, I mean, if we're talking about hurt feelings, let's talk hurt feelings here. If we're talking about hurt feelings, if you have become very close to someone, and they're very close to you, And perhaps you've even been very intimate in terms of like sharing your life with them. Now you guys are boys and you're real strong boys. And you find out that one of the guys that's actually going to be a groomsman in your buddy's wedding is this guy that he hasn't talked to in 20 years that lives in Florida and that he hasn't seen since he was a kid, but blah, blah, blah. Maybe you're hurt too. You might be thinking to yourself, well, dude, we're pretty close. Like, we're tight, man. Like, we hang every day. We're going through the battles. And you've told me about this guy that you don't even ever talk to. Now, this may be a way that maybe girls think a little bit more than guys. Like, maybe guys don't necessarily think this way. But I don't know. Who knows? Maybe we do. Maybe guys would be hurt by something like that. P1 Mike. Hey, this is P1 Mike. When I got married, two of the guys that are at my wedding party, I don't hardly ever talk to anymore. And it was like that leading up to it.
And everyone I've talked to that has gotten married, so there's at least one or two guys in their wedding party that they don't keep in contact anymore. So I'd say if it's going down that road anyways, just cut them loose and get new guys in there. Thanks, Mike. P1 Morgan has a great point that we didn't even think about. Morgan, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. Well, I agree with Eddie and you, Mikey, completely be honest. And maybe these guys are like, oh, dude, thank God we don't have to go through this whole thing. Especially if they're on the East Coast. I mean, it's a big deal to, you know, they don't even really know what's going on. We didn't even think about that. Like, we could be relieving them. Like, maybe they did it because they were like, oh, I'm being asked. Like, this guy really wants me. But, oh, man, I got to get fitted for a tux out here in, you know. Wherever, New York or whatever. Especially if they're not even as close anymore. It's probably going to be a little bit awkward, too, maybe. Don't you think? Yeah, for them, it may have turned... It's a chore. It's turned into more of a chore than something that they really want to do. Yes. I appreciate it. Thank you, Morgan. Thank you. Okay, so here's the deal. Four Van Halen shows have been postponed. The Chicago Bears sent quarterback Brian Greasy back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a draft pick. All right, Sky. So why has Van Halen postponed four shows? A unspecified medical condition affecting Eddie Van Halen. Oh. Oh, no. Yeah, it was being reported yesterday that the whole tour was being canceled because inside sources say that they were going from city to city for the upcoming cities and starting to cancel the hotel rooms they had booked and all the services they had booked. So the promoter came out and says the tour is not being canceled. We're canceling the next four shows, which included Dallas last night, Cincinnati, Raleigh, and Baltimore. And then they are hopefully going to pick up from there. And then this week, they're giving a medical test to Eddie Van Halen to try and figure out what's going on. Wow. But they're not saying, like, what symptoms he has or, like, they're not saying anything about it. That's terrifying. Yeah. So who knows? I mean, it could be anything from a relapse all the way to some horrendous medical condition. He's had cancer before. Yeah, we have no idea. Right, right, right. So I guess we're just going to have to wait and see, but we'll let you know.
Oh, hello. I texted my girlfriend. I said it to my wife instead. That was a mistake. Was drunk when I called her. Passed out when I hit send. I thought that I hung up myself. Oh, there's the signal. That's when she heard me talking all that crap on this hat. It's my friend. Like, my caller ID says it's my friend Jane. She answers the phone. Hey, Jane. And you hear her go, and I can't stand her anyway. Hello, Jane, are you there? Hello, Jane, hello. Maybe you've accidentally, because it was in your pocket, dudes, you put your cell phone in your pocket, but what you don't realize is as you're putting it in your pocket, it hits the send button, calls the last person you talked to, and then you're talking and they're hearing stuff you wish that they didn't hear you saying. Damn it! That is a cell phone mishap. So if you've had one of those situations, we want you to call us right now. 570-1053-P1-Jordan.
Jordan, are you there? I'm there. What happened? All right. I was in Iraq, and my mom works at a dental place. She's like a dental assistant. So I called her up to see how she was doing, and her boss knows me as well. So he heard the secretary say, yo, your son's on the phone. So he tried to intercept the line and get on the phone first. So he picked up the phone thinking it was me, but it was some old lady, and he said, what's up, monkey meat? What? He said to an old lady, what's up, monkey meat? Okay. I don't know what's funnier. The fact that he called the old lady that or the fact that he calls you that. What is he called? No, don't answer that. I actually don't want to know. I don't want to know. I don't want to know. Nicole either. Yeah, I'm right here. This is P1, Nicole, which means that she's a Mikey Show listener. Whenever you hear the word P1, you know, oh, that's a person that listens to Mikey Show. Go ahead, Nicole. What happened? Okay, so it's 4 o'clock in the morning and I'm sleeping. I had a late night. I'm really tired and the phone rings and I'm like, who in the world is calling me at 4 in the morning? So I pick it up and I just hear like all these, I'm pretty sure I hear someone brushing their teeth and like keys jingling. I'm like, what is going on? And then I realized.
My friend Mandy was the last person to talk to me the night before. So I start yelling, Mandy! Mandy! And, of course, she can't hear me because I'm yelling in her purse. And for, like... Imagine if she was in your purse, she'd hear you loud and clear. Only she was in the purse. I know, right? But she couldn't. So I'm like, you know what? It's 4 o'clock in the morning. I don't want to do this. I hang up. The next morning, it happens again. So I pick up the phone. I'm like, Mandy! And she doesn't hear me. So eventually, you know, I get on the phone with her, like, in the evening. I'm like, you know... You really got to put your key guard on because I am tired of waking up in your purse. It's annoying. Right. Of course it is. Yeah, so that's my cell phone thing. I mean, I didn't hear anything really weird, but it was four in the morning. So she didn't say anything really bad? No, seriously. I just was listening to her get ready for work. She wasn't using the bathroom, was she? No, was she using the bathroom? Okay, please stop. I hope not. Imagine being in there. Me too. I don't want to imagine it. Just imagine it. I just imagined it, Eddie. P1 Frank. Yes, I had a really bad cell phone mishap. What happened? My wife went through my cell phone when I passed out one night. She was going through it the next morning. I wake up to her going through it and reading the text messages that I had forgotten to erase from my mistress. Yeah, that's not as much a mishap as it is a cheater. Yeah, infidelity is, actually.
I think it would be better categories as infidelity mishaps. Which is also funny. Yeah, you know, that would be a whole different topic. But, so what did she do? Did she wake you up? Oh, yeah, she woke me up yelling. Wake up, honey. And we just went through the finals on the divorce last month. There you go. Good for her. Are you still with the mistress? Oh, no, I don't even talk to that girl. Oh, wow, so it was worth it. Yeah, it was meant to be. Wow. Thank you, Frank. Healthy. Yeah, that was not a cell phone mishap. Interesting, but not necessarily a cell phone mishap. P1 Adam, are you there? Yes. Adam, what happened? Good morning, Mikey. Good morning. Good friend of mine, and I was out with him and a group of my friends, and we're asking about a... business trip he had gone on recently, and he started going into detail about, which I obviously won't get into, but some indiscretions he got into at a massage parlor. And, yeah, and while he's starting to tell us, he feels obviously a little embarrassed he crosses his arms. While he does that, without knowing, he accidentally presses on his cell phone and dials, and this is probably 75 numbers in his cell phone list, he dials,
His serious girlfriend who was about to marry parents. Shut up. No, the parents. Parents? And her dad picked up and listened to the entire conversation. Shut up. Oh, dude. The chances. I'm telling you. And they ended up breaking up over it. It was an absolute nightmare. That one is nuts, dude. No way. We got one more. We got one more. And it's P1 Christy. Are you there, Christy? Yeah, I'm here. What happened? Okay, so it was me and my friend Bree in high school, and we were really good friends with this girl, Crystal. Well, we decided to call her three-way because we were at our separate houses. Well, we called her house phone where her dad lives because she didn't have a cell phone or something. So we called, and she didn't end up being there, and her message machine went on. And so we were like, hey, Crystal, leave a message. And then I asked Bree, did you hang up? And she said, yeah. Bad idea. That it didn't. And we started talking about how much we thought she was like a pathological liar. Good friends. It was awful. She called us back and she was like, oh, you guys are so awful. We're like, what? No, it's a joke. Like, oh, the whole thing. Are you kidding? Oh, yeah, totally. I love it. Such karma. She's like, I get it. I get it. Sounds hilarious. Her dad heard the whole thing. It was like the worst. They can be bad. They can be very bad.
All right, let's do this. Oh, by the way, I just want to remind you that for whatever reason, you know those big, giant, I think they're called Zambonis. They go out on the ice. Oh, yeah. And they clean up the ice. I saw Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken on one. You did? They were on a Zamboni, and they were cleaning the parking lot with it, right? That doesn't make sense. During the last break and I was like, that's so strange. That's not even ice out there. Why are the two of those guys on a Zamboni? And I thought, oh, maybe they're going to be on the show later. That's right. Eddie's trying to figure it out too. So who knows? Maybe they'll be on the show. That's right. I always got stuff. When we come back, we're going to give you details on this thing Sky is talking about. There is a video out there right now that is viral for all the wrong reasons. It is a viral video that people are really upset about. Because it's a Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff. Stop. We will give you the details on what this is about, exactly what's going on, when we come back. Don't go anywhere. What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. The Descent. Watch 14. There's no system. No rules. No backup. But there's such a thing as hell on earth. That's it. Never imagined. It's insane. Loot it.

Now another moment from the Mikey Show. The producers of the new Star Trek movie are really trying to keep things a secret. Actors are made when they're walking from set to set. They have to wear full-length black robes to completely cover their costumes. We do, too, on this show. That's what we're wearing so that people can't tell. And then Winona Ryder is part of the cast, and she's a smoker. Keeps stealing the robes. So she always wanted to go out of the building to smoke, and they didn't want it because they didn't want people to see her. They should set their phasers to who cares. 746. Witnesses say it was very awkward when Tony Romo, John Mayer, and Dane Cook all showed up to the same event. Well, we broke this story a little while ago. It's true. Brett Favre retiring from the NFL. Dude. It almost feels like a part of your growing up is a little like, wow, I grew up watching this guy play football. 17 seasons. I was 20 years old. Well, I'm speechless now.
You know, I have to say, too. I must say to Brett Favre, you rocked my life. You rocked my life. Marry me, please, Favre. Marry me, please, Favre. You know what, dude? Thanks for abandoning your boy, all right? Thanks a lot. My boy! Yeah, he's your boy, dude. Great. He's your boy. That's your boy. Yeah, he's your boy, dude. Abandoning you. Yeah, real nice. Did you abandon him or what? Yeah, great. I've abandoned my boy! Great. Well, you got Aaron Rodgers. Great, yeah, great. That's your boy. Here, here, here. Yeah, he's your boy now, all right? Yeah, that's your new boy. Yeah, great. You guys are boys, all right? Yeah. Real good. Have fun with your new boy, dude. Yeah, good luck with that. Yeah, great. I killed that. Yeah, great. Who's been your boy the whole time? Eddie. Great. Yeah, thanks, Brett. Yeah. Favre. Those guys have been your boy the whole time. What do you do? Late? I'm out. Peace. I've abandoned my boy!
My boy! 17 years, see ya. Let's see. Let's see how this story hits everybody. There is a video out there of a Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff. Why is he doing this? Is it clear in the video? Like, what the... point of this is no it's just a 17 second video that allegedly shows a marine who is based out of hawaii shows the marine in iraq holding a puppy by the scruff of its neck and throwing it off a cliff so somebody is filming this obviously yes well the other guy is doing it p1 ruthless is on the line hey how you doing good hey i think it could have been a box of puppies it doesn't matter it's no big deal those guys are losing friends that guy could have just witnessed his best friend's torso exploding from enemy gunfire. Like I said, it could have been a box of puppies. No big deal. How is he going to witness that in Hawaii? Well, no. The video was shot in Iraq. I think the video is in Iraq. I think it came out of Hawaii. I don't understand. How does it come out of Hawaii? The Marine is based in Hawaii. Oh, I got you. I got you. I got you. But the video was shot in Iraq. The tours that they have, these guys go all over the country. I got a buddy who's in Oceanside, and he's done two tours in Iraq, and in between, he was in Guam. So, I mean,
Some tours are shorter than others, and they go all over the place. I could have been a box of kittens, puppies, whatever. Yeah, Ruthless, that was going to be my next question. So, in other words, we don't have to stop at puppies, right? I mean, if a guy comes back from Iraq and he's lost his buddy, is it, I mean, I would think, I mean, I don't want to speak for you, but according to you, it would be okay to take pretty much any animal and torture it, right? No, no, no. I'm not saying it's right, but, you know. No, no, no. You said it's no big deal. Actually, you're saying it's no big deal. Yeah, I don't think it's a real big deal. I'm not saying it's right either. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I just want to understand you correctly. Like, if a guy comes back from Iraq and his friend has just died very recently, you know, hey, listen, it's no big deal to torture an animal, right? Hmm. It depends on the psychosis of what you're going through. Okay, let me ask you something, though, Ruthless. You're going to be torturing a kid? I mean, that's wrong. Okay, I'm trying to figure out what the line is. I'm trying to figure out what the line is. So, in other words, a kid, which I agree, you know, a kid, it would be wrong to do that. But I just want to know, because there's something that was like a little pause.
in your voice when I put it to you that way, there was like this little pause, and it may have been. I'm just suggesting it. I'm not saying that this is what it was, but it may have been your heart screaming out to you going, no, that don't sound right. I love dogs. I have a Rottweiler. I am an avid lover of animals, and my compassion goes out to the soldier, not the puppy. I'm sorry. No, no, no. Bro, bro, bro, hang on a second. First of all, there's no part of the story that says that dude just lost his friend. But let's say that is the story. It's not, but let's say it is, okay? Yeah, that's what I think. Something happened. Okay, let's say something happened. Let's say that he lost his friend. In fact, let's take it a step further. Okay. Let's say that somehow he, and I know that they have rules and stuff against this. I just want you to follow a hypothetical story with me. Suppose it was his brother. Yeah. And his brother was serving with him, okay? Yeah. And his brother, he just watched his brother blown up and killed, okay? Yeah. Now, I understand and have compassion for that man for seeing and losing what he just lost. I do, and I think you do. Absolutely. Okay, my question is, where is the compassion for the other life? Zero, none, nada. Okay, and that's what I'm curious about. Why? Yeah.
Why? Because if I lost my brother, I'd go in an Iraqi village and take them all out. Everybody. I don't care. If I lost my brother, I don't want to live. Hey, guy on the phone. So... I mean, I get what you're saying. There's a lot of hurt. There's a lot of emotion. If allegedly this Marine did lose someone close to him, I don't understand why taking it out on a puppy is acceptable to you. Like maybe if like you said, maybe if the terrorist who killed his brother is right there, he opens fire. I think a lot of people understand that because that person just murdered his loved one. But why a innocent random puppy in the area? And why is that acceptable? No, it's not acceptable. It's just the. No, bro. No, you said it is. You said a box would be acceptable. A box full of them. Yeah, you said it doesn't matter. It's okay. Yeah, it is. I'm not trying to conflict with myself. Why? Why is it okay? Why is it okay? See, this is what I want to help out with here, Ruthless, is have you ever heard me talk about what anger is? Oh, of course. Do you remember what I've said that anger really is? No, I don't think so. Okay.
Anger is usually three things. Hurt, sadness, or fear. Oh, true. Okay. So, if you lost your brother or your good friend, who you probably consider a brother, these guys that are serving together over there in Iraq, they consider these guys their brothers. Yep. So, if they lose somebody in front of them, they are probably all three. They're hurt because they've lost somebody very close to them. They're sad because they're not going to see them anymore. And they're fearful because they're probably thinking that could happen to me. Exactly. And so what happens is, is that they get exactly kind of what you are right now. Angry. Yeah, absolutely. But I'm not angry, but I do. No, no, no, no, no. Ruthless. Let's be clear. You are too angry. I know you don't. You may not realize, but what I'm hearing right now is not happiness. I'm telling you what I'm hearing isn't happiness and it isn't healthy. It's hurt, sadness, and fear. And the reason is because when you heard it was a military guy, first thing that popped into your head was, I bet that guy lost somebody. And the first thing that came to your mind was, that sucks that people are coming down on him. Because you're upset about what happened to him. You're upset about what happened to him, that guy. And you're right about that. All I'm trying to say and suggest to you is, I think that as people, we got to have compassion for life.
In general. That's true. We've got to have compassion for life. I'm a father, everything. Yeah, and I think that's part of the reason. That's why it hurts, too. Well, I think that's why it hurts. I'm afraid of my sons going into military. Exactly. I get it. Yeah, I'm afraid of that. Here's, to me, one of the biggest components of this story that we're not addressing is the fact that these guys filmed this. Like, the fact that they filmed it, to me, puts it over the top. Yes. And makes me go... I don't believe that this guy is acting out because his buddy got killed or whatever. It sounds to me like he was being a jackass and his buddy was filming it and they put it on YouTube. And that's disgusting and it's just awful behavior. And it's not indicative of what Marines are all about and what they stand for. And it's unfortunate that these guys kind of ruined that and they should be punished for it. And the Marines say that they are investigating this case. And if it turns out to be true, they do not tolerate anything. sort of behavior like this um you know the video is on youtube it's been viewed thousands of times most people are commenting saying this is horrendous but there are people who are commenting and saying hey we don't know if this video is real maybe is it possible that it's not even a real puppy or is or i i refuse to kind of watch it i got it sent to me this morning i didn't want to watch it yeah but the picture the still frame i've seen of it looks like a real little puppy uh
P1 Farmer Ted is on the line. Hey, guys. What's up, Farmer Ted? Hey, I'm afraid to start here because I'm going to get vilified here. My take is that it's almost like a mob mentality. Being in the Marines, you get in a group of people, and for one, I am not condoning anything that they did. But I'm trying to get the point across is that when you get into a small group of people, You know, you get 20 guys, and you're so close, and I can just imagine what those guys are going through. And it just gets out of hand. All of a sudden, you've got somebody with a camera. You've got a dog there. Grab the dog, and the next thing you know, it's going over the cliff. I'm not condoning it, but I understand the mentality of these guys to a certain extent when they're going through what they're going through. I believe that what you said is... I can totally understand what you said. What you just said is very different to me than what the guy before you said. The guy before you said, do it. In fact, get a whole box full of them. I can understand saying it's not right. I don't agree with it. And what that guy did was wrong. But I can also understand where you say, hey, man, these guys are in a.
different mental place than you are in your comfortable chair behind the microphone, you know, having last night's leftovers. That's what got me to call. Hey, dude, I get it. I get it. It's kind of like this. You know, have you seen this movie that was nominated for Best Picture called There Will Be Blood? No, but no, I haven't heard. OK, well, let me tell you, let me tell you, this movie, There Will Be Blood. It's a guy movie. It's not a movie for women. And the reason I say that is because there's a lot of feelings and emotions in that movie that women can have, but they don't necessarily, it's not as indicative in women as it is in men. And these are what I'm talking about. These are the traits. Greed, power, greed, power, those are the main two components. The main two components are greed and power. And the main character, Daniel Day-Lewis, he is driven by greed and power to the point where he is willing to sacrifice things that are important to him like family. Son H.W. That's right. My son H.W. So what I'm saying is, is that what he does in that movie, I do not agree with.
And I wouldn't actually do it myself. What I am saying is I understand how he was seduced by it. I understand. It's a seduction when you get it. And it's hard to explain until you've actually been there and done something like that. The seduction is that you get this group of people. And I'm going to ask the question. Has anybody been in a mob mentality when the mob has gone completely nuts? and actually got caught up in it. I get you. I know exactly what you're talking about, dude. And I get your, you know, the seduction of it. And the thing was, is that what got me going was Ashley's, and you go back sitting, everybody's sitting in their chair, eating their dinner, and then when something like this happens, everybody, oh my God, what a horrendous act. I totally agree, it's a horrendous act. It is. Understand where it came from, and understand that there's a little bit of compassion. I get it, I get it. At the end of the day, it's still wrong. I mean, it's like watching the movie There Will Be Blood. I go, that guy was a bad dude. What he did was bad. What you're saying is different than the first guy, which says, oh, what the guy did in There Will Be Blood? Yeah, we should do that. That's good. You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. Thank you. Yeah, I mean, you can understand it. It don't make it right. I cannot understand it. And I think that the reason I understand that you can't, Sky, I think that part of the reason that you can't
is because those things, they don't exist in women. Women generally are not part of mobs. That's a male-driven testosterone. I mean, I get your pressure and all of that, but as an adult and when it comes to torturing another living being, no, no way. The Eddie line is ringing. It is? Right now? Hello? Well, hello there, Eddie. Oh, is this Daniel Plainview? I'm Daniel Plainview, and this is my son, H.W. Oh, nice. He doesn't talk very much. No. No, he doesn't. He's standing behind me right now. Yeah, that's kind of weird. But the reason that I'm calling you, Eddie, is because I need to let you know a couple of things. Okay. You see, I've been listening to you this morning. Oh. And I have for you. What is that? Well, Eddie, I happen to know that you own one of the original Millennium Falcons. Well, I own one of the toys. Yes, you own one of the original toys. It's also true that you own some of the unopened in mint condition boxes of very limited edition Star Wars cereal. That is true. Eddie, I'd like to buy...
some of those from you. No, they're not for sale. I'd like to give them to my son, H.W. I'm sorry, Daniel. They're not for sale. I abandoned my boy. Why are you freaking out? I need chocolate milk. Wait, no. What is that? I'll drink your chocolate milk. You're just trying to see your mind. Bye. Bye. That is ridiculous. I hung up on Daniel Plain. Yeah, glad you did. That's a good idea. I had to hang up. That guy's a clown. I've abandoned my boy! He freaks out. So dramatic. P1 Alien Tooth is on the line. Hi, Alien Tooth. How are you? Alien Tooth. Hi, are you there? Oh, no, this isn't Alien Tooth. This is P1 Goat. That's correct, yes. Yes, go ahead, Goat. No, I just want to let you know I'm a man as well. And only in the campaigns in Iraq, what they do with stray dogs and whatnot is they're euthanizing for disease control, which I can understand what they might do, but also Marines need to maintain a point of professionalism, which was not portrayed here. Oh, wait a minute. So what you're saying is, oh, listen, they're going to euthanize these animals anyway. Why not throw them off a cliff? No, that's not what he's saying. What is he saying? He's saying that is something they do, euthanizing the stray dogs, but Marines need to be professionals. This isn't their job. This isn't their place. It's not acceptable is what he's saying. Okay.
Yeah, I don't think they were trying to euthanize, though. No, it doesn't look like it. They were trying to do something terrible. Yeah. I understand that. That is true. That is true. That is what it is. Hey, thank you for the call, Goat. Hey, thank you. P1 Alien Tooth is on the line. How you guys doing? There is Alien Tooth. How are you, Alien Tooth? He's in the spaceship right now. There he is. Hi, Alien Tooth. Oh, there he goes, flying by in that spacecraft. Hey, I just wanted to... I just wanted to say real quick, I don't know about all this gangster nonsense and all this. The bottom line is this guy grabbed a puppy and threw it off a cliff. There's something seriously wrong here that everyone's kind of being easygoing about this. Yeah, I agree. I go online, I'm not going to mention websites all the time, and I watch these military videos of guys shooting people. I've seen Iraq civilians throwing donkeys over bridges and crazy stuff like that. But when you see a U.S. American soldier grab a little puppy and throw him off a cliff, and everyone's got these excuses, oh, it seems okay, oh, this is what they do, blah, blah, blah, my friend got killed. You have to be completely heartless to grab a little puppy, look it in the face, and throw it off a cliff. It was smiling. It was smiling. It was a happy puppy. Hang on a second.
It was a smiling puppy? Is that what she said? They were laughing. Listen, Alien Tooth, I totally understand where you're coming from. But when you say that, you need to realize something when you say that. Okay. When you say that, you're talking about a normal human being. Okay? Okay. You're talking about a normal human being. And a normal human being is people like you on the phone and us. talking right now and us listening on the radio, we're very normal human beings. When you're put into a position where to defend your country, you murder other people, which is what we have to do. That's what we do in war. We have to kill other people. You're in a different mindset. I do not say this because it makes it okay, because it isn't okay. It's wrong. It's not all right. All I'm doing is putting it into context like that guy said, because what we were doing was... The first guy called and said, it's okay. See, these guys are messed up. They're over there doing terrible things. And so it's okay to do this. It's not okay. It's wrong. But I also, but I also, hang on. I also think it's important for us to remember that in order for guys to do what they do to defend our country, they are different than us. They're different than us.
They do things I can't dream of doing. Or you can dream of doing. And the reason that they do it is so that you can have that cell phone in your hand and call me right now. I was just out there right now. And I saw Christopher Walken taking a white cardboard cone and wrapping cotton candy around it from a big cotton candy maker. Tom Arnold is sitting here in the studio. Look at that, Tom. How are you, man? I'm doing great, buddy. It's great to see you, man. You know, it's been a long time since I've seen you.
Still looking for a job. Yeah, Tom's still not working. Still not working. Those guys back over at Best Jam Sports Show, they won't return my calls. That's not nice. Yeah, which is a shame. But I'll tell you, man, for all the kids out there listening, you might know me from Ask Your Parents. I was actually in a movie called True Lies with your very own governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger. That was a long time ago. But here's the thing. That actually kind of predated the whole, you know, Charlie Chan, Chris Tucker thing. Right. You know, the whole brunch hour. Yeah. Jackie Chan. Whatever you want to call him. Maybe why you don't work that much. This inspired Charlie Chan and Chris Tucker. Guys, why don't we just go with Charlie Chan? We should move on. Why don't we just give it to him? I was also in a movie called The Stupids. It's available on DVD right now.
And by the way, every time you buy a copy, that actually gets a dollar. That would be awesome. I also wrote for a little show you might have known about called Roseanne. That kind of brings me to where I'm at right now. If you guys need a writer on this show, I don't even have to be in the studio. I could be just like that guy in San Francisco. Sean is a writer. I'm afraid of germs, too. I could be alone. Send you the stuff. I like it. We're good. It's cool. Thank you, though. What if he and Charlie Chan were to do it together with Chris Tucker? It'd be Chris Tucker, Charlie Chan production, and they could write the jokes together. That would be nice. I bet that Charlie Chan guy, he's like four feet tall. Yes, that is true. He packs a lot of putts, but he's a good guy. He seems like a good guy. So, Tom. Let me ask you, what brings you here to San Diego? We've got Tom Arnold here with us. So, Tom, what brings you to San Diego? What's new? What are you doing? Well, I know you know that out in the hallway we've got Christopher Walken. And I've got to kind of set this up. The thing with Chris is that we're going to – we're in town. We're filming some stuff around town this weekend. You and Christopher Walken.
We're actually doing a whole movie here. It's not us, but it's a Happy Madison production. Adam Sandler's filming it. So it's me and Chris and Owen Wilson, Tracy Morgan, all these great actors. Are you just making this up? I got a job. I don't believe that. I did. I got a job. So you and Chris. Christopher Walken, are you guys like friends? You guys hang out? The two of you guys hang out? Yeah, actually, I gave him a movie script last week. He hasn't read it yet. But yeah, we hang out. And here's the thing. We're going to a comedy show this weekend on Saturday night. And I'm a stand-up comedian. It's kind of where I started. I got my chops in the comedy clubs. We're going to go see Craig Gass over 4th and B. He's good. Craig is good. He's a good friend of mine. Craig, I know Craig. I know he's coming in later in the week. But what Chris wants to do is, believe it or not, Chris, he's got jokes.
And he wants to open the show. For who? Christopher Walken. For Craig Gale. How does he open the show? Craig's a professional. I don't know that Christopher Walken's ever done, you know, professional comedy. I'm truly in shock right now. I am in shock. Can he hear me out there? I think so. Zeth, go get him. Hold on. Zeth, Zeth, Zeth. Sit down, Zeth. I got to tell you, you know, some of his jokes are kind of corny. But you've got to laugh because he'll look you right in the eye. He'll intimidate you until you do something. So wait a minute. You're telling me that Christopher Walken is going to come in here right now and tell jokes like a stand-up comedian kind of jokes? Yeah, and they're kind of like kids jokes. I don't know why, but he always loves to tell this one. He goes, hey, Tom. Well, don't give away his jokes. Now he's giving away his jokes. But I've got to give you an idea. Let's hear it. Because you're probably not even going to laugh the first time. All right. First time. He looks you right in the eye and he goes, hey, Tom. But he does it in his own weird Christopher Walken kind of voice. He goes, hey, Tom, what kind of a... That's a good walking. Thanks. Thanks, Eddie. Hey, Tom, that's a good walking. And I want you to make a note of that if you are ever in need of a writer. Yes. Yes. So he goes, hey, Tom, what kind of a bee makes milk? And I go, I don't know, Chris, what kind of a bee makes milk? And he goes, a booby. That's good.
I mean, that's a little kid joke. Yeah, it's for kids. They love that. But you got to laugh because he will definitely stare at you until you do laugh. Okay, well. I can't lie, so if I don't think it's funny, it's going to be hard to fake it, but I'll try. Can we get him now? Yeah, go ahead. Go out into the hallway and get Christopher Walken. Zeth is the big tall kid. By the way, while he's going out there, Roseanne box sets available on DVD right now. Oh, thank you very much. TomArnold.com and And real quick, I'm single. We got it. Christopher Walken. Hey, Chris. This guy's so funny. He's so funny. He's great. Christopher Walken, look at this. Hey, Christopher Walken, it's really nice to meet you. First of all, it's an honor to see you here. Hi. Hi. Hi. I tell you, man, he's a real... You had your time. You had your time, Tom. Why don't you let Christopher talk? I'm just saying he doesn't have the normal kind of energy. He's always jumping in. Don't you have a movie?
As a matter of fact, I've been in a couple of movies. No, I didn't ask you if you did it. I'm glad you mentioned it. Christopher Walken is now sitting down and crossing his legs. But Chris, have you seen Soul Plane? Anybody seen Soul Plane? Get out of here. Let's give Christopher Walken... Go ahead, Chris. I can get right to the jokes. Here's my goal. See, you're laughing already. I haven't even told the jokes yet. I told you, buddy. I told you. I do a lot of jokes. Most people know me for my acting career. That's how I know you. But I got a lot of other talents. I like to dance. I like to cook. And I do great, funny make-em-ups. That's awesome. I heard you like the ping pong. I do. I love the ping pong. So, here's my goal.
I'm going to hit you with five minutes of crazy, uncontrollable, funny makeup. Okay, okay, okay. Tom Arnold's got a giant smile on his face right now. I'm going to just pass him notes. I'm just going to pass him. Why does Tom Arnold twitch? It's kind of a funny story. My sponsor says that I'm still going to look like I'm high. And that people are going to think that you're twitching. We get it. We understand. We understand. I'll say this writing prayer right now if you want me to. Don't do it. Please don't. It's anonymous. Amen. You're hogging my time. You're hogging my time. Please walk in. Tom, you're stepping all over me. If you like these jokes, I want you to call the good people at 4th and B and tell them in need of an opening act. And tell them you want Christopher Walken to open up the show for Craig Gass. Yes, please. Yeah, there you go. And you hear such great jokes as these. Okay, go ahead. Here's Christopher Walken. Mikey, what kind of a B makes milk? I don't know. Well, we heard this.
No, no, no, no. Never heard this one before? I don't know, Christopher Walken. What kind of a bee makes milk? A booby. I like that. I like it. Here's another one for the kids. Go ahead. Why did Tigger smell so bad? Why did Tigger smell so bad? Um, I don't know. Why did Tigger smell so bad? Because he's always playing with poo. Pow! It's funny. Punch me right in the face. It's Christopher Walken's telling jokes in the studio. I told you, man. He's got make-me-ups right now. Make-em-ups. Make-em-ups. Make-em-ups. Maybe you don't think it's funny because your mama's fat. Your mama. Oh, no. He's got your mama jokes. Wow. Wait. That wasn't a very smooth transition. Maybe you think it's funny because your mother's fat. That was a make-em-up. That's a make-em-up. If they let me on stage at 4th and B on Saturday night, it's all going to...
flow. It's going to be great, funny make-em-ups. You're a natural, clearly. He's in a three-piece suit, Christopher Walken. He looks great. And then I'm going to end with mama jokes. And then if they'll give me time for an encore, I'm going to teabag the front row. That is great. That is great. I don't know why he would say that. He's got a little handkerchief right there in the lapel. He's got a flower. He looks great. He's even got a pocket watch in and out of his pocket. That's great. I told him to do the pocket watch thing. You did. You did not. Tom, your mom is so fat. People jog around her for exercise. Tom, your mom is so fat. She went to the movies and sat next to everybody. Boom. You gotta ask. You got to add an accent on the end of the joke. Is that what makes it? Is that the deal? That's what gives it the extra oomph. I like it. I'm going to tell you a joke, but I'm going to give a little oomph at the end. Mike wants you to listen all the way through. Go ahead. Here's the joke. Mama is so fat. When she went bungee jumping, she fell down straight to hell. It was the emphasis at the end that got me. It was so good. The way you timed that out.
You can almost feel that enormous ass hitting the depths of the house. That was really good. Because of the pow. So, when you say the jokes, even if it's slightly offensive, you've got to put that pow in. Did you hear about the gay midget? No. Wait, is this one okay? Go ahead, Christopher Walken. It's okay. I already cleared the jokes with him and said, he ran through me, they're all radio clean. Tom, did you tell him I'm Christian? Nope, didn't mention that part. I'm in detail. I will have him say a couple Hail Marys. That's Catholic. Go ahead, go ahead. I'm sorry, Mike. I was married in Rosea, so I don't know much about religion. There's a lot of cocaine. Nobody's talking to you. I am on Wikipedia. Tom, we got it. You have a MySpace page, too, right? Mike and Tom, did you hear about it? Did you hear about the gay midget? I did not hear about the gay midget. It just came out of the cupboard. Pow! It was it. It was it. That's a great joke. I like the end part. Pow! If you like that joke, call 4th and B at 2314343 and tell him you want me to open the show on Saturday night. Open up for Craig Gass. He had great jokes.
Like these. That is fantastic. What do prisoners use to talk to each other? I don't know. What do prisoners use to talk to each other? Cell phones. Pow! Right in the ass. I just got that one. Eddie. I don't know why. Eddie, what do you call a fat... Chinese guy. I don't know. A chunk. So this is like the music and the Oscar speech. The music means wrapping it up. It's like the Oscars. What do you think, Maggie? I think it's great. Chris, I think you're phenomenal. I think it's great. You guys should come back. As a matter of fact, I'm going to let you guys know. I'm going to let Christopher Walken Chris, let me tell you. Can I call you Chris, Mr. Walken? Of course. Call me whatever you want. I heard you're a big movie. I love movies, Chris. So I want to tell you and I want to tell Tom.
Craig Gass is going to be here with us later in the week. You guys should come back and hang out. I would actually like to stay here if I could. As Chris has a ride, but I don't have to ride with him. You don't have a ride. Without paying me at all, I could just sit in the background. Thank you, Tom. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the ride this morning is still pretty tough in some spots. Things are looking better to the water to South Bay, especially in this 805 northbound. You're pretty much good to go until you get to Mesa College. From there, it grabs you for a heavy, slow ride all the way up to Governor Drive and a Golden Triangle. West 94, there's an accident involving some injuries near the 15. That has you backed up from the 805 and past the crash for a slow one all the way to downtown right now. The West 8 commute here this morning, that's still bunching up pretty good here from Waring Road all the way into the Valley to Mission Center. South 15 is looking a little bit better out of Escondido. You won't find the brake lights to hit around Auto Parkway, but unfortunately from there, it's still quite a struggle. Overlay Codges all the way to Poway. The coaster ride on South Line 5 stays very tough as well from La Costa. for bumper-to-bumper traffic here all the way in past the racetrack in Del Mar. Diamond Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Is this Ryan? Ryan, what's the deal? You went to Amco? Yeah, actually, I took your advice. Last week, my check engine light came on, and I heard the radio ad yesterday morning on the way to work, and I went to the Mission Boards location, and Nick hooked it up. He found out that my number three spark plug wasn't firing, so I told him, hey,
You know, I can fix that myself. But I told him, you know, even though he wasn't able to do the service on my truck, that he has my service down the road for when my transmission goes out. Because he did that for free, right? Yeah, he did it for free. See, I mean, how can you not respect that? You didn't end up having it. And most people, they would have charged you just to tell you that. And then, you know what I mean? And now that guy's got a customer for life. And that's basically what Amco's philosophy is. Amco diagnoses you for free, just like this guy. It's double A-M-C-O. The Mikey Show continues featuring Mikey. A lot of my issues stem from my relationship with my mother. Eddie. Obviously, the emails are rolling in about the topic of the marine and the puppy. Mikey, a dog is a loving family pet. I can't believe anybody would purposely hurt such an animal, especially a puppy so young. I'm deeply saddened.
after hearing that one of our soldiers, good role models to our young adults, has done such a horrible deed. Warmest regards, Michael Vick. That is strange. Son of a God. I knew he was going to... So mad at him. It's just so weird. It is 833. Let's see. Let's go ahead and bring these guys in here. You knew him as Rufus the Stunt Bum. He is now better known as Rufus Hanna. And I am really, really honored to have him in here, man. This is amazing. This is so cool. And I have to say props to Eddie because I asked Eddie very recently, can you do this? And it was in no time. He said, we got him. He's coming in. I said, this is an important story to me personally. And I think that it's just an important story, period. It's one of those stories that I think everybody needs to hear. Rufus Hanna used to be known.
as rufus the stunt bum um and uh first of all rufus welcome to the studio thank you for coming in here we really do appreciate it well i appreciate you having me and i need you to talk right into that microphone so you could pull yeah you could pull it up just like that um I have never seen these videos. I don't know anything about the videos other than it used to be homeless people fighting each other. And it was very popular, especially amongst young men. And so what I'd like to do is sort of give people kind of the history and then talk about what happened in your life and then talk about the gentleman that's sitting to your left right now who I consider a very, very, an angel. uh for what he's done for you his name is barry sople and we'll talk uh to barry in just a minute but let's go back what year were you first approached to do this how many years back was this let's see i was approached uh i guess around uh 98 1998 by uh ryan mcpherson and uh on my way to my little home behind the bond store uh
Car drove up, and he asked me, he said, are you Rufus? I said, yes. He said, I hear you get drunk and fall down a lot. Well, I was about half lit then. And he said, do you want to make $5? And I thought, well, yeah, cool. You know, $5 in my pocket is good. And he pointed over towards some crates, and he said, I want you to run head first in those crates and knock them all down. And this guy had a videotape with him? He had a video. Video recorder. He told me doing this. Now, is this the guy that has the company, that does this company, these videos? It's the guy that actually does it? Yes. At the time, McPherson was Grossmont High School. Oh, he was a high school student? At the time. Okay. And he had his video recorder. He met me through a park there in a local park in La Mesa. Okay. It was skateboarders at the time. Right. So he offers you $5, and he videotapes you doing this. Yes. That quickly, I guess, turns into, will you start fighting other guys? It progressed, and him wanting to fight other guys, the worst was when they pitted me and my best friend, Donald Brennan, together. And what happened? You guys hurt each other. Yes.
Donnie and I slept behind a mobile gas station, and we got up that morning. And as usual, you know, both of us alcoholics, and we needed something to drink. We started drinking vodka. And then later on, Ryan and his friends showed up and wanted us to fight one another. And I found out later on from Donnie that one had me to one side and one had Donnie to the other side. And they wanted Donnie. Later, Donnie told me that Ryan wanted him to give me a black eye. And then I got this guy on the other side telling me to punch the F out of Donnie. And we were both so drunk we'd barely stand up. How many years did this go on? This went on, I want to say, probably the best part of five years. Oh, man. So for five years, and did you know, Rufus, that, I guess being in your situation, it was probably kind of hard to know that these videos had sort of, gotten a following, and that people were actually really a fan of these, that people were watching them, that people were consuming them, and that people actually knew who you were. Were you aware of that? Not in the beginning. There was a guy that was living on the street with us at the time. His name was Mark Oldfield. And in the beginning, I thought Ryan was making this video, which he did. And he's telling me that he was making this video for his economics class in school.
and then later on he would get these videos when they got a copy made of it then he would give it to mark oldfield and mark oldfield would take it around the bars local bars and have it shown at the bars i had no idea i knew about the video but i had no idea the extent or where they was headed to with this video what was the worst of it what's the worst you ever got hurt the worst i believe i've gotten hurt was uh ryan and his friends pushed me down A flight of stairs, concrete steps, and a shopping cart. And I was so out of it. And walking back up to my little spot, there was a metal, huge metal container. And I ran head first in that container. And, you know, the next day, I thought I'd actually broke my neck. I mean, I had to walk around for about two weeks. But unlike us, you couldn't just go to a doctor and figure out what happened because you didn't have a home. And you couldn't go do that. Now, here's the deal. It's kind of a hard thing to, especially for women to understand. The human male is a very, very complicated thing. And the human male will find certain things, funny, interesting, whatever, that females really can't relate to. My wife in a million years would have never found anything like this interesting. But I'm telling you that in my younger days,
And especially before the changes that I went through, not only would I find it entertaining, I'm sure I would have found this funny in my other days. But a lot's changed for me. I'm an older guy. I'm 37 years old. I'm in recovery myself. I've gone through a lot of changes. And I've accepted Jesus Christ into my life. And so when I hear these stories now, I have a great deal of compassion because I think to myself, that could have been me. That very easily could have been me. I could have been... doing the same exact things that you could. Not only that, but there are a lot of us that are listening that even our brothers or our sisters could be doing the same thing. There's not much difference, see, between us and Rufus, except for situations and environments. A lot of us are just really lucky. We're born into a family with a mom and a dad that are really loving and caring, and so it doesn't turn out this way. For a lot of people, like Rufus, maybe it didn't go that way. And a series of events led him to the streets, and this happened. So when I hear it now, it makes me feel different. When I hear it now, what happened to you? But what I was getting at with that thing about the male is, is that for a lot of young men, I can't really explain it.
I'm not sure what it is about young men that makes us kind of, you know, we like violence. We like to watch violence. We like to, there's something about it that's a lure for young men. And I'm not saying that that's wrong. God gave us that. That's who we are as young men. We're sort of attracted to that. I guess my point in bringing it up is sometimes it might be healthy for us to hear that Rufus is a real guy. See, he's not Rufus the stunt bum. Dude's name is Rufus Hannah. Dude's name is Rufus Hannah. Where were you born? I was born in Georgia. Where'd you grow up? I grew up mostly all over the South. My parents moved quite a bit looking for better work. And we moved quite a bit, but mostly I grew up in the South. Yeah, Rufus Hannah's a real guy. He's got blue eyes. He's a real person, and he's sitting in front of me. So, Rufus, how did you meet Barry Sopel, the guy that's sitting next to you? How did you meet him? That's kind of an ironic story. My mornings, being homeless, it was first thing in the morning. I got up, and I looked for food. After that, I grabbed my shopping cart, and I went to work. You know, I've always worked, and it just comes as something I feel good about working and making my own money.
We were going through the complexes, and we just happened to be, me and my best friend just happened to be at one of Barry's dumpsters in his complex. I'm in the dumpster. I'm tearing through trash trying to find any recyclables, and Donnie's standing beside me. And I hear somebody talking, and then I look up, and it's Barry. And Barry's telling us, hey, get the hell out of there. You know, get off his property. And that's how I first met Barry. So what happened next? How did the relationship grow from this? Well, right across from Barry's office, there's an old man. He told us to call him Old Man Hawkins. He was like 91 years old and his wife, Missy Lily, she was 90. And we used to stop by and talk to Mr. Hawkins. And we would do a little work for him that his wife and him couldn't do. So after Barry kicked us out that day, Barry walked across the street and went over to talk to Mr. Hawkins and tell Mr. Hawkins about us. So here we come along in our shopping car, me and Donnie, and we stop and see Barry over there talking to Mr. Hawkins, and we stop by. And Mr. Hawkins didn't like what Barry was doing to us, and he told Barry, he said, hey, you ought to give these guys a job, they're a good old boy. Let me introduce you to Barry Sopel. Barry.
What happened next? Well, Mr. Hawkins gave me quite a lecture. He was telling me how Jesus would really dislike me, and I better hire these guys. So I looked at both of the homeless guys as they were getting closer, and I said, would you like a job? And they said yes. And then I put a caveat in there, and I said, if you come here 10 o'clock tomorrow, not drinking, I'll put you to work. And I thought, well. They're not going to show up, so that's okay. Mr. Hawkins is happy. I'm happy. And that'll be the end of it. So I drove up the next morning, and lo and behold, there the two homeless guys were. And I go, oh, God, what am I going to do now? So I approached both Rufus and Don. I didn't know their names. And I had asked if they had eaten. They said no. So I went and had my daughter go get, there was a McDonald's around the corner, got them some breakfast. I asked them if they knew how to build fences. And they said, absolutely. And I got some gloves for them. And they said, no, we don't need gloves. We're men. And I said, okay. That's fine. And they worked for me for about four weeks and did a fabulous job. I was so surprised. And I got to know them as individuals. And actually got to like them. Donnie spoke a lot. Rufus spoke very little. But, you know, they did their job.
Felt good about it and didn't have any more work and let them go. Then about six months later, I was at this gas station in San Carlos. And I look and they're the two homeless guys that I got to know as Rufus Hanna and Donald Brennan. So I walked over to them and I looked at Donnie and I said, what is that on your forehead? And there was a huge tattoo saying bum fights with a beer can. And I said, is that real? I said, yeah. I said, well, how the heck did you get that on your forehead? So they explained to me about the film, these filmmakers, how they plied them with alcohol, did these horrible stunts, and they had a video on them. And I said, I'm going to help you get the best law firm to represent you. And so we set up an appointment, and I called up this firm up in Santa Monica, Brown Green, Green Berlay, Panish and Whaler, and Brown Green was probably the top litigator in California. He agreed to take the case as long as... I could make sure that these guys came to hearings and depositions. Be prepared. I said, absolutely. Well, unfortunately, as our scheduled appointment came, Rufus and Donnie didn't show up. I didn't realize that they ended up going to Las Vegas with Ryan McPherson and his group of people to do more filming. And they had heard there was a criminal investigation going on. So they took him. And I didn't have Rufus and Donnie.
I got a call from... How old are these guys at this time? About 23 years old. And just, so did you believe they took them to Vegas to try and get them out of the state because they knew that this pending litigation was going on? Well, I eventually got a call from the district attorney's investigator who told me that. He also told me that if I heard from them, be very careful because of their Las Vegas connections. There may be some mob connections and all. Because they made so much money. Howard Stern coined the phrase, Rufus is a stunt bum. And from that time on, the video sold. And at the time, Rufus was out in Vegas. They were doing some really terrible things out there, stunt-wise. So Rufus had my phone number, and he called me. He said, Barry, could you come out here and try to get me out of this place? And Rufus and Donnie got fed up of being out there, and they really wanted some assistance. Went out there. He's an attorney in town. And we ended up being like crime fighters. You know, we went out there, scared to death. Knocked on the door where Rufus was staying. And kind of hid around the corner just in case. Rocks. Straight rocks. And they came out and I said, where's the guy that was supposed to be watching you? And they said, well, he left. And so we got him in our car. And eventually they ended up back here in La Mesa.
And at the same time, the La Mesa Police Department arrested Ryan McPherson. And that became really an odyssey because now there was a criminal prosecution going on. Ruth and Donnie are here. The press are all over them. I call up the law firm in Santa Monica. They said, you better get them into a motel. And so I got them into a motel, Easy 8 Motel on Pacific Highway. And we eventually... Met with the attorneys. Rufus, unfortunately, had a grand mal seizure because he had stopped drinking for a day and things were going on in his life because of the impact of all the violence against him. And we had our press conference, filed a civil case, and then the doctor at the hospital at Sharp Memorial said, you really have to get treated more thoroughly, and they brought him over to the VA hospital. Mm-hmm. And during that process, and Rufus can tell you, it was a long, long day. But they did like a C-scan, did all these tests. And they said, listen, Mr. Hanna, you have some serious injuries. You have double vision. You have all these other problems. Your balance is off. But mostly, if you don't give up your drinking, you're going to be dead in eight months. Wow. So I said to Rufus as we were leaving, did you hear that? And he said, yeah. And so we ended up.
And all of a sudden, I got this brainstorm. I'm not going to take him back to the motel. Because I was giving him breakfast, lunch, and dinner and paying for the motel. I took him to a mortuary instead. And I was getting kind of fed up with the guys. And at that time, Rufus never said very many words to me. And took him to this mortuary. And I said, listen, if you don't get into this program, I'm going to buy you that casket over there. Wow. And Rufus then... thought about it, and as we were driving, he said, yeah, okay, I'll try to get in the program. And then part of the VA program, it's not that simple. You have to not drink for three consecutive days, and they test you. They do blood and urine tests. So it was really, truly amazing. On the third day, Ruth was struggling, so Donnie called me, and I went down there, and we kind of put some bed sheets around him so he wouldn't get moving up too much in the morning. I brought Rufus to the VA hospital. He got tested and became a member of the VA program. And he can tell you what happened after that. Rufus, what happened after that? Well, when I got in the VA program, you know, I'd been sober those three days. And, you know, I've been an alcoholic. Excuse me. And this alcohol wears off and my mind is so messed up. It's like...
I tried to explain it to Barry. You know, alcohol was my best friend probably for 25, 30, maybe 40 years. I mean, it was always there for me. Regardless, it was my best friend. You know, it made me feel better. And it was like losing my best friend after so many years. And I just couldn't imagine what I was going to do my life without drinking. everything i'd done revolved around drinking where it was going to the park playing frisbee or everything you know and uh it was it was really bad and then i had to start my morning early in an exercise class and you know uh i didn't sleep well i'm having night sweats i can't eat my stomach is just all the pieces and uh it was really it was really tough it was really bad and
I would have to go into meetings, and one of the things I had problems with, and I still have problems with it today, is feelings. They would want me to tell how I'm feeling and what I'm feeling, you know. So finally one day I just said, hey, you know what, I'll tell you how I'm feeling. And I told them, I said, you know, I just don't want to be here. I said it a little differently, I don't want to be here. And all this work you're putting on me, I said, I don't even know what I'm doing. And finally the nurse. got me to the side, and she said, okay, just settle down. We'll just take it easy. But it was really hard. How long ago was that? This was in 2003. Did you drink in between then and now? No, I still suffer to today. I thank God for that. You know, my life is so much different, so much better. I can, I'm learning, I'm still learning each day. I'm learning how to deal with problems. Now, instead of picking up a bottle and getting drunk, you know, and thinking it's going away, well, it's not going away. It's going to be worse the next morning. And I've been through this program. First, I went to Bay Hospital for 28 days. I left straight from there. Barry took me down to VBSD. I spent 11 months at VBSD. I left from there, and I went to another program in Escondido and spent 17 months there. Wow.
And each, it seemed like, you know, there were times in there when sometimes I just wanted to throw up my hands and say, you know what, the hell with this. Here I am, I'm 47 years old, and I'm being told when I can go eat, when I can take a shower. It's like, you know what, I'm 47 years old, and you're telling me I can't do what. But things started getting a little better, and I finally got a job at the VA hospital, you know, working in wheelchair repair, and I loved that job. You know, I was meeting veterans coming back from the wars. Where are you now? What's going on today? Today, I took another step further. I work for Lakewood Villa Townhomes, 62-unit complex. I'm the assistant manager. Check you out. That's really cool. It's a lot of responsibility, but I'm liking it today more and more. I'm one of the two painters there. That is so great. I do maintenance work there. Barry, let me ask you, after all these things that have happened and all the things that you've done, how would you rate the quality of your life today? My life is great, and what's rewarding about it is when you see Rufus, who I met inside the dumpster. It was kind of a scary thing because as I was kicking Donnie out, I didn't realize there was another gentleman inside the dumpster, a homeless guy, who jumped out of the dumpster like a filthy jack in the box, and it was Rufus.
So for that man to be inside my dumpster eating food and taking cans, now my assistant manager, it's amazing. But what's even more amazing is the fact that he got involved with the National Coalition of Homeless. He travels around the country talking to colleges, high schools, about violence against the homeless. And he just received an incredible award up in Sacramento for his... assistance and is helping other veterans and people with homeless problems against people who create violence against the homeless. And it was a civil rights award. And when you think of civil rights, you think of Martin Luther King, John Kennedy. And for him to get that award in Sacramento, it was really rewarding for me. And then it didn't stop there. Rufus came up with another concept, another idea. He said, you know, he worked on legislation with Senator Steinberg to add More time to violence against people who injure the homeless. But then he came up with the concept, since most people don't listen to homeless people, a lot of them are veterans, let's register them to vote so they can really have a voice. And so that he's starting this program, which is great, called Stand Down. And it's been going on for 20 years where veterans help homeless people. And they're going to have a registration drive.
And having homeless people sign up there. And it's Rufus's great idea. That is amazing. That is just amazing. I love it. That's such a great story. I love it. And I just want to say, Mr. Hanna, thank you so much for coming in here. It is an honor to meet you. Well, I want to thank each one of you. I'm grateful to have to be here today. I'm happy to talk with you. It's awesome. Thank you so much. And Mr. Sopel, thank you for coming in as well. You're an angel. Yeah. Thank you, guys. We really appreciate it. We'll be back. If you haven't heard, Brett Favre is officially going to retire. Oh, that's okay. Hey, P1 Art. Hey, Mike, I just want to tell you that was an awesome interview, dude. I had tears in my eyes. Dude. I mean, it was so sad. I mean, it makes me first want to strangle those guys.
So also, it motivates me to want to help somebody else, unfortunately, to me. You know what I mean? That's awesome. Good job, Mike. Thank you, bro. That's why I was talking about the thing with young men. Now, listen, the last thing in the world I'm ever, ever going to do or say to young men that are listening right now is, you know, guys, I am never, ever, ever going to say shame on you. Ever, ever. Because, guys, I'm you, man. I'm you. I'm no different. So I will never say shame on you. I'll never say shame on you for watching those videos when you did, if you did. And I'm not even going to go into it if you still do. All I'll say in that regard is please don't. And I will add any kind of laugh that you would get from watching the video, you'll laugh.
And it'll be kind of fleeting. Like, you'll take two or three seconds to laugh. But let me tell you something. The next time you see a homeless guy, buy him a hamburger or get him a Diet Coke or get him something to eat. What? And give that guy something to eat or drink and you watch him have that. And that will last you your lifetime. That feeling that you get will last you your lifetime. But not just that, bro. That stuff that awaits you on the other side is unreal. That's great. Loved hearing that. That guy, Barry. That guy, Barry, is a cool dude. That guy, Barry, is a cool dude. So anyway, I would love to encourage not just guys, but all of us, man. I just would love to encourage you to do it. I'll tell you what, man. That stuff, it stays with you the rest of your life. It feels so good, man. It really does.
Lots of stuff happening in the news, and I want to get to most of it. Did you hear about Geraldo Rivera accusing Lou Dobbs from CNN of being a hate mongerer towards immigrants? Oh my goodness. Well, I don't know why, but Geraldo Rivera was on The View. Okay. And I don't know why, but here is what he said. Cut 11. It stems from a kind of a nativist reaction that started really at the grassroots, and it's driven by the most savage talk radio campaign ever in history. Well, I think that Rush Limbaugh is the dean of the academy. Lou Dobbs on CNN has been shameful in his hate mongering. I would not shake his hand because this is a man who has done more damage to the cause of sensible condemnation comprehensive reform than anybody else with a microphone. And for him to be bandied about as the next presidential candidate or an independent candidate, what, on the backs of these poor people, the most vulnerable? He's scapegoating. He's falsely blaming them for crime, for disease, for terror, for stealing jobs. And if you examine the studies, all of it is untrue. How do you really feel? I guess he really does not like Lou Dobbs. No, apparently not.
Well, listen, I mean, Geraldo Rivera is, he's a different kind of guy. He's, we know Geraldo because, well, first of all, a lot of you that are really young, you might not realize that Geraldo Rivera, he used to be a journalist. Kind of, yeah. It was a long time ago. But that guy used to be a journalist and people used to really like him. Yeah, and then he went and opened up Al Capone's vault. How did that go? All hell broke loose. Oh, yeah. That kind of changed things, I think, with Geraldo Rivera. A little bit. The Eddie line's ringing. Oh, let me answer it. Oh. Yellow. Hello, Eddie. Hello, is this... Hi, this is Barbara calling. Hi, Barbara. Hello, how are you? Good day to you, ma'am. It's good to be speaking to you today. Okay, what can I do for you? Well, I'm just calling because I want to get out there and really campaign for those of your listeners that are listening online in Texas or Ohio today. I don't know that this is appropriate. Uh... I just wanted to say to vote Hillary. I heard the comments that Geraldo Rivera was making right now. Yeah. And I just wanted to encourage people to go out there and vote Hillary today. Well, okay.
And I just wanted to let people that are listening on the Internet in the states of Texas, Vermont, or Ohio. I don't know how many of those there are. I just wanted to let them know that Barack Obama smokes crack cocaine. No, he does not. Don't you start. That's not true. And we're not going to allow this. I want to let everybody know that he also shoots heroin with needles between his toes. Don't say that, Barbara. That is not true. You could support your candidate without trashing the other guy and making up false rumors. Did you guys know that Barack used to beat up on Alanis Morissette? That's why she wrote all the songs. What are you talking about? All the songs about you ought to know, they're about Barack Obama. Fabrication. That's not true, Barbara. Please. Did you guys know that every time Hillary Clinton farts, an angel is born? Well, that might be true. That's disgusting. I think I did hear that.
It's true. It's false. And I just wanted to let you know, you guys, I heard you talking about the Marine story earlier. Oh, I don't know if we should get into it, Barbara. Very difficult subject. I heard what the Marine did to the pet peeve. Yeah, it's tough. Just want you guys to know, Barack Obama. No. I hate that woman. She can't just say that. She's so weird. She's so strange. I can't stand her. She's so strange. She's psychopathic. That's right. Wow. You guys hear about this coach for the University of Michigan that freaked out? Oh, yeah. I loved it. We got the audio. Oh, so good. So I'll play the audio for you next. Don't go away. Don't go away. This is The Rock.

Hey, let me tell you something. Right now is the time for you to go see what the Border Patrol has to offer you. Now, let me just tell you about some of the benefits that can come from working with the Border Patrol. Health insurance programs, annual pay increases, paid vacations, sick leave, annual uniform allowance, federal retirement, a 401k. Do all these things sound good to you? If they do, how about a $70,000 salary in the first three years? Does that sound pretty good to you? If all of those things do sound good to you, they sound appealing and you'd like to look into them, all you need to be is a U.S. citizen 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or an equivalent. I could have done this because I don't even have a high school diploma. I got a GED. But if you got one, you can do it. Don't have any felonies or charges of domestic violence on your record. He's the women's coach. So he coaches the chicks. And here's the deal. Apparently, on Thursday night, they lost to Wisconsin 69-67. But at one point, these ladies were up by 18 points. Wow. They were doing really well. Sky, did you play any sports? Any chick sports? Yeah. Well, I was a cheerleader and on the dance team. I was talking about sports. Oh, wow. Yeah, those are sports. No, no, no, no. Those are sports. Yeah, athletics. No, no. You're somehow mistaken. No, I meant like sports, you know, like sports. Like things you use balls for. You know what I'm saying. He meant that literally. Now, Ashley. So swimming is not a sport? Swimming is a sport. But I also played soccer.
You did. Why didn't you just say soccer? Ash, did you play any sports? I played tennis and soccer in some means. Did you really? All grown up. I did not know that. I'm learning something now. I didn't know you played soccer either, Sky. So, how about basketball? Well, not for the high school because, you know, I was already committed to the cheerleading team. Right. Me too. Me too. Well, yeah, you give your life to it is what I did. Wow. You know? I could never be on top of the pyramid. That was a problem. You were the anchor. I was the anchor. I guess. The base. That's what I want to know about that hobby. That's right. It's not a hobby. It's a sport. No, no, no. It's on ESPN. That pastime is what you're saying? Yeah, so is poker. It's not a sport. Oh, gosh. Well, I don't know what it's like for these women basketball players, but apparently this head coach, his name is Kevin Borseth. He'd had it. Just to let you know, I think this will probably be in the clip.
The press conference started with him running to the podium and slamming his fist down. Really? That's how it started. I love it. And I will give you another visual. Go ahead. This is the women's basketball program, so not probably the most covered press conference. There was probably three people in the room. Three reporters. He did all this for three reporters. Now, I have a question for you, Eddie. Yeah. That we will get future Mikey Show drops. This isn't as good as the Oklahoma State guy. So nobody's going home crying to their mom? No, no. He's very specific in basketball terminology. Got it. But there may be some stuff in here. Let's keep a look out. And I'll give you another visual. He looks exactly like Ed Harris. Really? Exactly like Ed Harris. So imagine that when you're listening to this. Love it. Cut one. That's how I feel. Damn sick and tired of getting out rebounded. 25 offensive rebounds. First time we block out, we get called for a damn block out. We're pushing people. Three people on the other court grabbing rebounds over the top and grabbing them. We get one offensive rebound and the other, we get called for over the back. Why are you yelling? We don't block out very damn well and we're not getting called one or the other.
That's where I'm frustrated. That's where my whole frustration comes in. Offensive rebounds. The entire thing came down to offensive rebounds. They got every single offensive rebound. You're going to get one of them. What else do you want to know? Is it just me? Not the only one. It came down to offensive rebounds. The whole game was offensive rebounds. Crystal Comet blocks out. Gets called for blocking out. Crystal Phillips goes up for our only offensive rebound in the second half. Gets an over-the-back call. Meanwhile, they're getting rebounds like they're going out of style. I'll bet anyone can go back to that videotape and watch them. There's a lot of shoving going on. We didn't get one damn call the entire game. So the idea of this game is to recruit football players and move them around that basket and get rebounds. I should have played a little more muscle. That's what I should have done. Still could have won it. Cooper threw the ball into the stands down the stretch. Came right down the basket, got where he wants, and threw it in the stands. I'm so frustrated. You have no idea how frustrating it is to play a half a basketball we did and come back in the second half and just totally, totally, totally, totally, totally lay an egg on the glass. Right now you can see I'm very, very, very, very frustrated. Coach, I know maybe now is not the time, but you did say that we were going to work out together. You were going to teach me some layup stuff after the game, so I was wondering if we're still on for that or should I just put it off until tomorrow.
What else do you want to know? There's one other question. What? No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Sally, I wouldn't. What do you want to know? Maybe now isn't the time, but... Do you have a white Honda? The lights are on it. I'm sorry. Now may not be the time, but... I left the aquarium thing on. It's flooded your office. I can't believe this. Are you crazy? It's all about leaving the aquarium on, isn't it? The flood in the apartment area and you're walking around in the water and they're all dead in the wind. I know, now...
May not be the time. No. Ouchy. Your toilet won't flush your office. Oh, that's super awesome. What else? We can't read. Which won't flush? I did not. Yeah, he didn't sound happy. He was very frustrated. Totally, totally, totally. I think he was frustrated. And all you can see, I'm very, very, very, very frustrated. We can see. There was one other line that he said that I think is pretty good. And that is, we may be able to at some point use him very angrily saying, What else do you want to know? Yeah. What else? Great. Could be something that at some point we... Love it. Oh, that guy was upset. Really mad. Sky has... Oh, what do I got? New releases that are coming out today on video, in music, in everything. Videotape, I understand. Well, yeah, it comes out on videotape. VHS, I believe, is what it's released on. That is true. Tear the plastic off, and then you hold the little cardboard box, and the videotape slides right out. Yeah.
Stick it in your machine. And you've got a sticker on there that says what the movie is. That's right. That's a good time. And it's also got this little plastic thing so that you can't tape over it because a lot of times you don't. But if you want to ever use that tape over, just break that little plastic tab off and then you can use it on your video. And sometimes the tape will get kind of messed up and you lift that little lever in the back. The black thing. mess with the tape to try and get it fixed. Pull that little plastic lever up and then you can touch the tape and get in there and adjust the thing. Or sometimes you use a pencil and you can kind of get in there and wind the tape up. Yeah, and sometimes if you look at the back of the tape, it's got those white little spindles. Sometimes you try to stick the pencil in there and twist it to get the tape rewound inside of that thing. But I'll tell you the worst is when, by the way, Rob, Zeth, and Ashley have no idea what we're talking about. What's really bad is when your tape isn't working right and you take your videotape out and you look through the little plastic window that's on the front of the videotape and you see that about a quarter of an inch into the tape there's a crinkle and so somehow it got twisted. My favorite is when it gets stuck in the VCR and you eject it and you pull it out and there's tape still connected in there and you're like, whoa! It's a wound.
Through the heads. Yep, the heads. Through the heads. The toffee. That's right. You know, but one of the other frustrating things is when you're actually, you know, you're watching Pretty Woman on VHS. Duh. And something is wrong. So what you got to do is you got to go over to the VCR and you got to take that little knob that says tracking. And you got to screw with that knob. You just twist it. Adjust it. You twist it until the picture comes. Well, you got to get one of them head cleaners. That's true, too. Now, a lot of times when you're rushed and you know that you're going to be going somewhere and you're going to be passing the video store. You know, you go, oh, I better take that tape back. What you do is you take the video cassette and you stick it in your rewinder. If you're lucky enough to have one of those rewinders, your rewinder. You don't want to wear out your VCR. Well, yeah, you don't want to wear your VCR out. And so the rewinder is so you don't wear out the rewind button on your VCR. That's magical. That's right. That's right. So what were we talking about?
I think new releases. New releases. Okay. New video games out today. We have Army of Two for Xbox 360 and PS3. By the way, do you know how you get movies now too? Now, I've got that Apple TV device. Oh, yeah. And so now, and it's connected to the internet, right? So you can go onto the internet with the Apple TV and on your screen are all these movies for rent. And you can get them in high definition. You rent them in high definition. Boom, it's right on your screen. Whoa. Dude. And then they show all the titles. You can browse through it and the whole deal. That's crazy. Now, if this is, I don't know, I think 10 years ago how stupid it was. Please. Right? What's it going to be 10 years from now? It's going to be beamed straight to your brain. Yeah. You're going to be able to dance with Matthew McConaughey on the, you know. Oh, that would be awesome. That's good times. Yeah. Right there. Yeah. Okay, other new video games out today. We have Major League Baseball 2008 for the Xbox 360. Yes, B-Rob. So sick. PS3 and the Wii. We also have ML. You know what? That just gave me an idea. Eddie and B-Rob's next challenge should be some kind of video game. Tetris. Because I just heard Rob. Well, as soon as you said baseball and Eddie goes, yeah, there you go, Rob. Rob was like, yeah. Oh, dude, I got all those games. If it's video game, dude, I will.
Destroy him. Any game you want. I'll let him pick the game. I don't care. Wow. I wouldn't even have ever played it before and I can beat him. NBA Jam for Super Nintendo. The banter. I want to hear the banter between them. Can you imagine? It'd be great. Can you imagine the banter? I love it. Tech Mobile, Mike. Mike Tyson's punch-up. Ultimate Duck Hunt. Nintendo. Pitfall. We got to hook that up. Oh, yeah, let's do it. Rob, do you think you could... I ask this every time so foolishly. I always ask this. Mike, who won the last one? Okay, so then my question... You don't even compete against me, dude. That's right. Who did I beat? I forget. That means my question... Not me. My question is... Yeah, I could beat him. Oh, get out of here, dude. Here we go. Are you crazy? Let's level the playing field. Let me pick the game. Okay. I don't care. Because I don't know video games. You can blindfold me and I'll win. Why don't we do Madden? Okay. Okay. Because everybody knows Madden. Yeah. Are you guys cool with that? Absolutely. Let's do this. I'm great at Madden. The next Eddie B-Rob challenge, let's have it be this. We'll set up the performance studio. We'll get a hold of Jay from Promotions. We'll set up the performance studio. We'll get a big screen TV set up in there.
We'll have Eddie and B-Rob sitting there with the game going on. With bean bags. Bean bags, whatever. Maybe some lava lamps. I like it. Cheetos. We got to have like a Bruce Lee poster on the wall or something. Make it like a real bedroom. And some Funyuns. Anybody. Then we'll bring a bunch of listeners. We'll bring P1s in. I liked it, Ash. We bring a bunch of P1s in. We bring a bunch of P1s in. Yeah. We set up chairs. We let P1s come in here and watch the whole thing. It'd be so fun. Done and done. B-Rob believes he can compete. Where's Big Talker over there? You're getting quiet. What are you talking about, Big Talker? Maybe what B-Rob will do is...
He'll spend a lot of time secretly practicing like he did with the go-karts. I'm sure. I'm still bitter about that loss. I can go get my trophies. Still a little bitter. Still a little bitter. And just totally, totally, totally, totally lay an egg. Let them be the Patriots. All right. Oh, I love it. Of course. What other team? Eddie, you be Chargers. Okay. Let me be the Patriots. Oh, they're set up to me. Forget it. Let's take a quick timeout. And then when we come back, I want to tell you about how Prince needs surgery and he won't stop wearing heels. I'm not kidding. Prince needs hip surgery. I'm not kidding. He won't stop wearing heels. I'm not kidding. Well, if he says one more cool thing. Hey, check this out. They have a new CD? Really? Yeah, and there was a big hubbub about it because Maxim did a review of the CD. And then the Black Crows said...
Hey, Maxim. And Maxim gave it a horrible review. And they're like, yeah, how could you do a review of the CD? Because no one has a copy of the CD. And they're like, oh, well, we did get our hands on one single. And that's all we got. So we decided to base our review of your whole album off of one single. And the Black Crows were not happy at all. Oh, man. I don't think we have anything. Like the radio station, I don't think the station's playing anything from them. I check they aren't. That sucks. I would love to hear what they sound like. I even looked to order this song and I couldn't find it, so I don't know where it is. That whole Angels song, Mike? Come on. She talks to angels. I know what you're saying. It's a beautiful ditty. The song is called I Believe She Talks to Angels. I believe she talks to angels. It's the angel. Then that one, you're jealous again. That's right. Hard to handle. That's not my favorite. You don't like that one? It's kind of overdone. Oh, wow. You're kind of overdone. You're overdone like your popcorn. Oh, there it is. That's gorgeous. You guys want to hear the cassette of me working with Michael McDonald? Sure. I got an old demo here. Here it is. Do it, Michael. Did the bass is taken away from the vocal? It did, a little. And we also have Magnum P.I., the complete eighth season. I've never seen an episode. Eight seasons? What is he? He's a private investigator. He's a private investigator. I'm looking at what we got here. Drew Barrymore talks about a relationship with Justin Long. Boring. Yeah, great. Here, here, here. Boring. Ooh. What? What do we got? Sean. Yeah. Sean?
Go ahead, yeah. I want to hear Jon Stewart ask Hillary Clinton about working with Senator Barack Obama and John McCain. That's clip number four. Whether you be the victor, Obama, or even Senator McCain, ultimately, I feel like the three of you, I would not be surprised to see any of you working in each other's cabinets. And it's been so long in our country that you could say that. That I think people might find inspiration in just that very fact. Well, I've said many times that I would like to have a bipartisan cabinet and White House. You know, a lot of our problems have nothing to do with Republican or Democrat. We've got to start acting like Americans again and roll up our sleeves and solve our problems. And there are good ideas across the political spectrum. Obviously, I think that the Democrats should... Have the opportunity to lead again because after George Bush, we got a lot of repair work to do. But then there'll be an opportunity to bring the country together. Obviously, I'm not that familiar with that last name you mentioned, but... Was that Barack Obama speaking right there? Who was that? It was Senator Hillary Clinton. Oh, that was Hillary Clinton talking. Yes, it sure was. Which clip?
I believe it was cut four. Good job, Rob. You did a great job. We're all very proud of you. The Rob show's great. The Rob show's great. Yeah, I'm sure he's upset. Yeah, there's a lot of long pauses. Rob, thank you for taking over. I had to go to Vaughn's real quick and pick up a couple of items. Was there a special going on? Yeah, they're doing a special on chicken cutlet. Two for one? Two for one is what it was. But just on the cutlet. But it just ended right now. So if anybody goes there looking for the cutlet and then they see that it's not there and they go, hey, but Mikey, I just want you to know the sale's done now. Oh, brutal. So there's really nothing that we can do. Thanks for the heads up, man. Yeah, well, are you ready to hear this foreign exchange student? He's an American exchange student. He went to Egypt. His name is Jonathan McCollum. He's an American exchange student. And he went there and he's talking about how the host family that he was staying with starved him. Cut 15. They would tell me that I was using more money with electricity in the water bill than their daughter did. So I would be reminded that I was... Did this start right away, John? You get there in August. Did it seem that food became an issue for them right away? Was it something that was gradual? Tell me about it. It began gradually when I would...
uh snack whenever i felt like and they'd start to hide food in their room and um began with that and then it came to at dinner i'd get a smaller portion and they would when did you start to realize that you were dropping serious weight i didn't notice the dramatic weight loss until i was finally back in the states um recovering in the hospital really because now we're talking 55 pounds You started off 5'9", about 155 pounds. So we're talking big weight loss here. Why do you think you didn't notice? I don't know. It could have been the malnutrition and just the gradual decrease. You don't see it. Something sounds fishy. Thank you. Something don't sound right. It's so weird. Well, number one, he was eating. So it wasn't like he was starving. Right. Yeah, it probably sucked. He probably wasn't getting the amount of food he needed. He wasn't starving. Well, not only that, but dude, you weren't allowed to leave the house? Yeah. Great point. Uh-huh. So if you left the house, can you go get something to eat? McPyramids? Yeah, go to McPyramids. Dude, they got a special right now on two for one. Cutlets. Burger Sphinx? Yeah. Get yourself a Burger Sphinx, dude. Get a sarcophagus shake. It's delicious. It's delicious. Yeah.
They call them mummy milks. And on Tuesday, you get the big tut and it's delicious. So here he explains why he didn't tell anybody that he was starving. Cut 16. The big question for you is the why you didn't tell anybody. This is going on. You know it doesn't seem right. Even if you don't notice the big weight loss, you had to notice something was wrong. Why didn't you tell the AFS people? Why didn't you tell mom and dad? Why do you think you didn't speak up? You wouldn't get on TV? I wanted to stick it out the whole year and prove to myself and my family that I could complete this and be independent. You're a liar. Even with the weight loss? Yeah, as I said before, I didn't know how dramatic it was. Well, no, you couldn't tell because, you know, when your pants weren't staying on. Right. And your ribs are sticking out. You couldn't tell. When you're fainting everywhere. Right, I didn't know. I had no idea I was starving. And I was hungry all the time. Right. Even though I was having to walk around, you know, basically with no bottoms on because nothing, I couldn't keep anything around my waist. I didn't think to myself that there may be, and you know, I talked to my mom and dad, but I didn't, why bother them? Yeah, why mention it? I'll stick it out. Yeah, I'll stick it out and I'll see, I'll prove to myself that I can, you know, be, have an eating disorder. Congratulations. So he proved it, apparently. Oh, man. Now, have you heard about, there's this thing going on right now where people are writing you.
emails and they're threatening you in your emails basically what they're doing is it's like a a deal where they will tell you that they're gonna they're like a hitman and that they'll get you unless you pay some sort of what sky like a ransom or something well basically they claim that they're a hitman and somebody in your life has taken a contract out on you but they're business people just like anybody else so if you're willing to pay more than what the contract is then they won't come and kill you i see And do they say how much that they've got from that? Well, they're normally asking for about $15,000 to $20,000 to not kill you. Who's that dumb? I guess there are people. There's people sending money to the Prince of Africa. Wait, wait, wait. Is that a hoax? A mic. Oh, great. I'm still waiting for my money from Bill Gates. Me, too. That's a real thing. It was on the Today Show. I got an email back and said that that Prince was released thanks to me. I said, you're welcome. I know. You were just trying to help, man. I gotta get into that business. The Nigerian business? No, you don't. Rob, don't say that. Yeah, dude. The bilking people business.
Pays well. So they just did a study on college students. They say that abuse with prescription drugs, it's 20% amongst college students. Yeah, one out of every five college students has taken prescription drugs for funsies. They say, you know, 60% of them say that they've been prescribed drugs for medical reasons, but 20% say that they take those drugs for non-medical reasons. Now check this out. On the Food Network, there's this show that I don't watch. But I've seen it a million times. It's the show Dinner Impossible. And the host of the show is this dude, Robert Irvine. He wears these glasses. Giant Frankenstein looking dude. Exactly. Well, he won't be back. What? Apparently, he's a fraud. What do you mean? He's not really a cook? He lied about everything. To get that job, he said that he had done the cake for the royal family. What else did he say, Sky? That he cooked for various U.S. presidents. What, they don't make a couple phone calls with people, right? Well, I guess so. It's kind of a big deal. I made Hot Pockets for the Pope. Yeah, exactly. I mean, seriously, I did. Don't ask him, but yeah, he made Hot Pockets for the Pope.
I mean, how does he get away with that and they don't do any double checking? I'm putting that on my resume. Exactly. I think just because it's so outrageous, like who would claim that? You know, you'd kind of maybe have to be a crazy person to go that far. So this dude has his own TV show and everything. I used to make kettle corn for Reagan. Really? I did back in 86. Like the kind of sweet and salty. Yeah, it was sweet and salty. I made corn dogs for Sir Ian McKellen. Did you really? Is that the truth? That is true. I believe it. I believe you did. He likes them a little undercooked, which is weird. Oh, that's gross. It is gross. This is a bit overdone. Thank you very much. Not many people do anything. Too much, Eddie. Oh, not bad. I feel like I'm an apt pupil. Please, undercook it. So anyway, he's out. Cut it yourself, Magneto. So I told you that Prince needs hip surgery. But it doesn't stop him from wearing those heels. So he needs surgery because he wears heels? Probably. I mean, he would jump around on stage in those real pretty boots with the high heels. Really gross. And the doctors even told him, you can avoid...
having to have this surgery if you just stop wearing high heels. And he says, no, I will take the surgery and wear my high heels. I guess he's spent hundreds of thousands of dollars having custom high heel shoes made to match every one of his outfits. One of his former girlfriends says he even has a custom pair of bedroom slippers that have heels on them. Yeah, but who amongst us can't say that? He is a gay man. Who doesn't have, you know, slippers with high heels on them? Rob should. That is true. He desperately needs something. A mini-mini. Make him like 5'7". I am 5'8". I know that. Above average. For sure. A lot of people in Europe. ABC is going to launch a new reality show. That's a fact. Europe. And this new reality show is basically a direct rip-off of American Idol. Only thing is, it's going to be like high school musical theme. Yeah, they're going to attach the high school musical name to it to try and get people to watch. But basically, it's going to be a ripoff of American Idol where people sing and try and win stuff. Great, America votes. Great, great, great. Simon Cowell has turned down an offer, a big offer. They were going to pay him a lot of money to be the new spokesperson for Viagra. Yep, two million bucks.
Utterly horrendous. Now he's admitted to using Botox in the past, but going so far to admit using Viagra is a whole other thing for him, so he will not do that. Makes you wonder what goes into marketing. What made them think that he would be a good Viagra guy? That age group, the look, you know, like he looks like he can't. do that. Maybe. Maybe they were like, you know, hey, he looks like a guy that can't have an erection. This is pathetic. He's great at describing bad performances. Yeah. Bad performance in the bedroom? Bad performance. Are you having a bad performance in the bedroom? Let's see. I think I've given you all the big stuff. There was a very uncomfortable moment where Tony Romo John Mayer and Dane Cook were all at the same event. Now we know what they have in common. They've all been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson. That's what happens when you bone half of Hollywood. It's bound to happen at one point, right? So they were all in this big room together and they were all real uncomfortable. Yeah.
So, I guess, how did they solve it? Rochambeau? No, they just all hung out. But I guess John Mayer was being awarded at this thing. And they say that, you know, Tony Romo, who's Jessica's current man, sat in the audience and was a gentleman. But after John Mayer was done with the speech, he didn't like clap or anything. He just kind of sat there. It ain't easy being a ho now. There's a teacher in Missouri. Who was sending topless photos of herself to a high school freshman. She's 27. He's 15. Well, dude, and it's so weird because the more I read of this story, you know, she's been dismissed as a teacher there at the school. Her lawyer is defending it. The lawyer says, quote, the portrayal of a woman's bare breasts in and of themselves as being pornographic seems to be a bit strong. We don't know the context and I haven't seen the evidence. But what I'm saying is that bare breasts in and of themselves are not pornography. Neither is Bear Grylls in and of himself. That's true. It's not pornography. So bare breasts are not...
Bear Grylls are not. So it's okay? Bear Bryant was in his coaching days with Alabama. Blunder's Bear Story. Blunder's Bear Story in and of itself is not pornography. It can't be, but... It can't be. I mean, he's told it in ways that sometimes it's borderline. A little dirty. Definitely borderline. He's involved. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Tell us the sexy version. The sexy? That's what he calls it. You guys want to hear the sexy version? No. No, thank you. All right. 570-1053 is our phone number. We take your phone calls at the beginning and end of every show. You can call in about anything you want. Anything you want. It's an open phone segment. So you can make comments, ask questions. You can do whatever you want to. And we'll take the call. Tomorrow is already Wednesday. Wow. Seems like the week has flown by. That's crazy. And going to let people know. We'll let people know. Because P1's. They get very upset when we take vacation. So I want to let people know. End of the month, we're going to take a very quick timeout. But we'll be back. But I was talking to some P1s, and overwhelmingly, it seems like P1s would rather us let them know than just disappear because of the relationship that we have with P1s. They want to know.
They don't like it. It kind of hurts their feelings when they go and we're just gone. Well, they get worried, too. Yeah, they do. They think somebody was in a car accident. Seriously, I heard that, too. Yeah. That was one of the other things that I got back when I was talking to people is, yeah, we kind of think the worst. What happened? And so that's our thing. We're going to let you know what happened before we ever go anywhere. But not until the end of the month. Exactly, until the end of the month. P1 Navy wife is on the line. Good morning, guys. What's going on? Well, I'm just calling to update you guys on our favorite aircraft carrier that's out to sea right now. The Nimitz? Yes. What's going on with the Nimitz? Well, they just pulled out of, and I might need help pronouncing this, Busan, South Korea. Don't know if we can say that on the radio, but it's out there. Now it's out there, so I guess we're going to have to now. Sorry about that. And are they on their way back to San Diego? No, they've got a couple more ports to hit before they start heading home. They've got about two more months out. Okay. So this is about the halfway mark. We appreciate it. Hang in there. Thank you very much. Not a problem. It's P1 Navy wife, P1 Matt. Matt! Matt! Hey, Mikey. What's up? Hey, is Beto there? Yeah, dude, I'm here. Whoa. Hey, dude, could you ask Sean what he's wearing today? I'm just curious. Yeah, dude! Hey. Oh, this is bad. Uncle Sean. No.
Where art thou? I'm not doing it today. My Uncle Shani... No, I'm not your uncle, actually. ...is wearing a beautiful ensemble. It is from his new spring line. Oh, wow. It encompasses all the looks of a young man that wants to be adventurous. Yet... The business attire of a gentleman collar. That's cool. That's right. No fur going on, huh? It is a... Hang on, dude. It is a button-down shirt tucked into jean shorts. Jeans shorts. No, you know he doesn't wear those. He wears the khakis. That's right. A button-down shirt. Talked into the khakis. So he can go from the boardroom straight to a safari. That's right. Oh, really? Sky? I thought that's what you did. It's true. He's wearing khaki shorts, so he can either be in a high-powered business meeting or wrestling an alligator. Shut up. You guys are great. Why do they have a zipper? Yeah, hey, it has a zipper because it's what they call...
Shants. Oh, magical. Are they shorts or are they pants? How cool. Shut up, Eddie. I'm just saying. That is cool. It's a great concept. What do you want me to do, Sean? I'll do whatever you want. Just be quiet. Don't beat into it. Are they shorts or are they pants? Unzip here and then we have Shants. Wow. Frolic on the beach. Shut up. Go mountain climbing. What if it gets cold? Oh, yeah, that's a thought. Zip them back into pants and go on a sales call with Russell. Oh, cool. Am I going on a business meeting with Kaylin? Or am I playing tennis with Ashley? You know what? This is why I hate P1s. Hey, statement. That's our listeners.
Will somebody buy me a beer? No, you're only 14. One beer, man? You're a 14. Well, one beer is much better. Yeah, dude. I'm just saying. One beer, I had a beer. No. Stop it. Fine. Does anybody have any white girls? Wait, what? Have any white girls? What does that mean? Come on, dude. Kick down. All right, fine. Throw me some white women. Shut up. Preferably 40. What? Whoa. Hello. Out of your league, kid. Who wants to get pregnant? No one. Get out of here. That's Beto. P1 Seanaphobe is on the line. What's going on, Seanaphobe? Good morning, beatings and gentlemen. What is happening? Hey, I was just wondering, are you guys ever going to organize anything like Sticker Strike again, man? That was so much fun. You know, that is a very good idea. Dude, you guys should. That was a ball. Awesome. Let us think about it. All right, man. Give us some time. All right, dude. P1 Tony P. Hey, what's up, Mike Show? What's going on, dude? Hey, I just had a question for the Oracle. What are we going to do about another running back since we lost Turner? Well, it depends. You know, you could either look at some free agents that are out there. I even blogged a little bit about, you know, Bork Dunn got released today and how interesting it would be to have him backing up LT. Or, you know, I mean, if they're, you know, Chargers are in a really good position come the draft where they can kind of take the best player available.
And if one of those running backs slips down to them, that might be an option. Right on. Hey, one more question. Actually, Eddie, could you do that? You abandoned your child? Could you do it so much better than the movie version? I love the way you do it. It's way better. Eddie, have you abandoned your son or abandoned your kid? Oh, my goodness. Holy. I've abandoned my boy. Well, then it's out that Missy is up next. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday. And we'll make a plan to meet tomorrow morning at 530. The Mikey Show is out. Love your mouth.
