At some dates, I say on the radio and I go, uh-oh, that's someone's birthday. Ooh, but somebody's birthday. And somebody's birthday is March the 5th. I don't know who. I have to start asking a lot of questions. It is 6.05. It was a good night for Hillary Clinton with her taking three of the four primaries last night. If your name isn't Brett Favre, why would you announce your retirement yesterday? It's kind of bad timing, don't you think? Somebody retired the same day that Brett Favre did? Huh? Who? Warren Sapp. Oh, boy. Says to announce his retirement the same day. Oh, dude. Well, that doesn't make any sense. I'd wait. I'd wait one day. At least. Just hang on. Welcome to the program. There are seven people on the Mikey Show. So if you're listening right now and you're going, well, I sure do hear a lot of voices there. It's because there's seven of us. Now, some of us you don't hear that much.
Some of us you hear plenty, but the bottom line is that as you're listening, you've got to know there's seven. 570-1053 is our phone number. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones so you can call about any variety of things that you want. You get to pick. You get to say, okay, I want to talk about TV last night. I want to ask a question. I want to talk about something going on in the news. I want to, you know, the only thing that we ask you. is that you have a point, that there's something to it. Definition of a P1 listener, which is something you're going to hear a lot on the Mikey Show. You hear people call in, you'll hear the word P1. They'll say, hey, this is P1 John or P1 Adam. Or sometimes I'll make stuff up like they'll say, this is P1 mail delivery. Something like that. And you're going to wonder, well, what's a P1? A P1 is a Mikey Show listener. They are exclusive Mikey Show listeners. And they know the rules. When they call in, they turn down the radio, get to the point, don't cuss. And those are very important rules. They also turn other people on to the Mikey show. And you become like family. It's a very unique situation. The relationship that we have with our listeners, how they become like family. And so, yeah, we like that. 570-1053 is the number. What am I missing? I don't think anything. Let's get into it. Just, you know, real quick.
We'll go around the room and I'll introduce who everybody is. My name's Mikey and I'm 37 and I'm going to start planting stuff outside in May. Oh. Yeah, yeah. I'm going to plant, you know, vegetables, stuff like that. Couple of little seeds when I was tearing out my vegetables from last year, stuck in the ground, in the soil, and they grew into big old onions. Oh. So I have these big... giant red onions that I'm going to get. And I don't know what it is, man. Doing stuff out there calms me down. It really does. Doing stuff, for whatever reason, I focus on the little shovel and the little soil. And I don't think about stuff. I just really have a good time in there. And for a guy that has a history with alcohol, boy, that is the best medicine, man. It's really good. Serene. It's very serene. It really is. The only part about it I don't like, is that my hands get dirty and I have a fixation with my tiny, dainty, beautiful little hands. Why don't you wear gloves? Why don't you? You should try that. It doesn't feel as good. Like you actually want your hands in the soil? You got it. Oh, okay. That's right. I don't want to put something over them. I want to feel it. You know what I'm saying? You just don't want the after effects. Exactly. Exactly.
That's the deal. I don't want the afterthought. Jake is the same way. He doesn't like touching food. He doesn't like his hands to be in stuff that's gross. He just doesn't like the texture of it. Some kids, they love to get in there and do that. And she's been taking him now. Like the other day, they went to some place where there was like a little puddle of mud and he was wanting to go play and she was trying to keep him out and then finally she goes, I'm going to let him be a little boy. And these pictures of him, splashing and playing and that stuff are hysterical. I go, what did you do about the clothes? She goes, I just had to take them off before we got back in the car, but I let them play. Cool. I go, well, that's good, because he usually doesn't like sticking his hands and stuff. Awesome. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. He is 34 years old, and we're both from the same hometown, Gilroy, California. Yeah, what up? Up north. Gilroy represent. Yeah, yeah. Anything new going on? Oh, I just have a brand new computer. Holy cow, dude. That's exciting. It's life changing. It's life changing. What's it like? Dude, first of all, had the Geek Squad come over yesterday. Yeah. And I was pretty embarrassed at how pathetic my old computer is. It took three hours for him to transfer my files into my new computer. For real? Because my computer is so slow.
Really? Yeah. You know, so like all my iTunes music and all that stuff, it just took forever. Yeah. You know, and so I was really embarrassed. And even at one point, he even looked at me. He's like, how did you live with this thing? I don't know, man. I really don't know. Yeah. You know, the thing about it was not having the thought of having that geek squad, because the reason why I didn't do it is because it would have taken me probably... couple of weeks right to figure out how to transfer everything and do all that stuff sure i just procrastinated about it you know forever and so um you know once i realized oh yeah i can have somebody do it for me dude i would have done it years ago did you mess around with a computer when you left oh yeah dude it is it's like night and day it's ridiculous first of all i have this monstrous uh monitor That I've had since, you know, like when I got the computer, which was like 99. Right. I mean, it's monster. It's bigger than a TV. It's ridiculous. Yeah. It's like the old tube kind. Yeah. Yeah. It's gigantic. It's the kind of monitor that actually looks like a TV set. Right. Yeah. Oh my goodness. So, you know, now I got this nice, you know, little 19 inch LCD screen. Yeah. I'm like, well, first of all, there's my desk. I've never seen that. Oh, wow. Pretty cool. Exactly. Oh, wow. And now like everything just looks better. Everything's fast. Yeah.
This is awesome, man. Were you playing around with your iTunes music and it was all coming up real fast? Yeah, everything was so fast. Literally, this is not an exaggeration. When I wanted to have my iTunes, I would click on it, leave the room, come back in like 10 minutes, and then it would finally be up. That's how long it would take. For real, dude? Yeah. Oh, my goodness. It was really bad. Really bad at the end. Wow. Yeah, so definitely happy to pull the plug on that thing. turns out the guy that uh was the geek squad is a p1 yeah you know so it's always weird when they discover that yeah they're like wait you know they put the two and two together right he's like i should have known with all the star wars stuff in here yeah and football stuff and you know and then like i'm embarrassed because i have star wars stuff and so i have to make up like i go um oh yeah dude that's like all gifts like that's all people I'm trying to look cool in front of the geek squad guy. He's a geek squad. He's not in the cool squad, bro. Why did I care? That's so great, man. I bet that computer's bad. It came with a new printer that has a scanner on it. I'm like, where am I? The future? This is amazing. Seriously, if you can figure it out because I wouldn't begin to know how to use a scanner. I don't even know how.
But if you can, you have tons of old pictures of us. Scan them and send them to me. Oh, my gosh. And please don't send them to anybody. I'm not kidding you. Don't send them to anybody else. Not to Sean. No. Don't, dude. Hey, Sean, is the process hard between scanning? I know this is going to sound stupid, but is the process hard of scanning a computer and getting it on your computer and ready to email? Scanning a photo. No, it's actually really easy. It is? Yeah, especially if you have like an HP. Which is exactly what I have. And, you know, you have, you know, printers now come with that USB cable. Yeah. So everything can go right into your computer. Okay. So it's really easy. Hey, what about, Sean, do you know, because I've heard that over and over again, HPs are really good for that. Can you use those with Mac, Dino? I don't know off the top of my head. They're USB, so that means that they can definitely connect to either one. It all boils down to software. So I'll take a look and see. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm doing mine soon, too. And I'm afraid, bro. Of what? I'm afraid. I got 5,000 songs on iTunes. 5,000. And so I'm like, is it going to take 100 years to get those songs onto my new computer? Your computer is pretty fast, right?
Well, it would be fast by standards of your old one, but for me, it's slow. It probably won't take that long. For me, it took a little while just because mine was on its last legs. That's why it took a little while. He did a bunch of other stuff for me, which was cool. Did your wife like it too? Oh, yeah, she's going to freak out. Like, you know, when she logs on this morning, she usually does computer stuff in the morning. Yeah. And she's going to freak out. Awesome. So great. Sky's our news girl. Sky, I like when you wear that thing. Headband. It looks cool. Thank you. Now, what makes a headband day and not a headband day? Frizzy hair. Okay. Okay, but the frizzy hair looks good. Yeah, because you push it back and then you don't really know it's frizzy hair. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So what's new? Well, I just was thinking about Sean last night and reminiscing on an experience that we shared as I was hugging the toilet bowl and puking last night because I took my vitamins without enough food. And I said, gosh, I wish Sean was here to hold my hair back like last time. Like the old days.
Just like the old days. It was so awesome watching her barf on the street, run into the gutter. Very bonding experience, though, I would think. Yeah, it was. Very bonding experience. Barfing into the gutter. So I missed you last night, Shawnee. I can say the same. We will interrupt this introduction of everybody because we have a very special guest on the phone. Very quickly, I'm going to tell you, Shawnee does sound effects for us, Ashley is our assistant producer, Boston Rob is our phone screener, and Zeth does sound effects. everything on the internet, getting pictures up, sending text blasts out and a bunch of stuff for us. So there's seven people on the Mikey show. But on the phone right now, we have Major Brian Dennis. Now this is going to be great. And the reason I'm telling you it's going to be great is yesterday, everybody was shocked to hear the story of the Marine that threw the puppy over the cliff. And a lot of people were shocked to hear it. And it was a little bit of a black eye.
for the military because of that happening. This story is the exact opposite, and it will lift your spirits, and it'll make your heart happy. Major Brian Dennis is in Iraq, and so there's probably going to be the delay. Major Brian Dennis. Hey, what's going on? How are you? I'm doing pretty good. There's a little delay. I apologize. I'm talking on a satellite phone. It's okay. Where are you right now? Right now I'm in western Al-Anbar area near the kind of vicinity of the Syrian border. Now, you have been on the news a lot. He's been on CNN. He's been on every major news outlet. And the reason that you have... is because you have saved a dog in Iraq. Tell us the story. Well, it was, you know, it never really intended to start out that way. It was back in maybe September or October. I met this dog named Nubs. My team named him Nubs because his ears had been cut off by one of the local Iraqis. I guess they do the dogs out here sometimes to try and make them tougher or something.
He just kind of bonded with our team, and over a few months, just became really good friends with this dog. Anytime we went to our northern area, we'd do operations, we'd see this dog out, and he just kind of became our buddy. And then it's a long story, man. I don't want to tell it all, but to make a long story short, he ended up following us home and earned a trip to the States. It's pretty cool. So have you flown this dog back to the States yet, or is he still with you? Oh, no, he's in San Diego, as we speak, living like a little rock star. Totally. Sky has a question for you. Well, now, you say he followed you home, but didn't he follow you 70 miles to find you? Yeah, yeah, he... Wow. Yeah. It was pretty crazy how it happened. He just ended up... Well, one night, we were out there. We were up in the northern area where we normally see him, and he... What? Oh, my gosh.
He looked a little bit better, but we had to go. We had a mission and we had to leave. Two days later, down at our combat outpost about 70 miles or so away, he just showed up while we were working on the Hummers. It was the craziest damn thing. Wow. That is unbelievable. So is it maybe because of your rank that you were able to make it so that the dog could come back to the States? How did that happen? You know, I don't think it's due to my rank. It's not like majors can pull that many strings out here. A lot of people were interested in it. I made some connections through some local Iraqis. Basically, I just worked it. I mean, I talked to a lot of people. I worked it. I had a lot of help. Let's put it that way. I had a lot of help, and it was very difficult to do, a lot of red tape, but it ended up working out. We're talking to Major Brian Dennis. He's been in the news a lot lately because he saved a dog out in Iraq where he is right now talking to us on a satellite phone. He saved a dog. The dog has been flown back here to San Diego. Major, when will you be back? I'll be back sometime around the last...
By the last week of the month here. Oh, nice. And when you come back, how long will you be back? I will probably, I'm normally an F-18 pilot out of Miramar, so I'll probably go back to, hopefully go back to my old job flying there, and I should be around for a couple years at least. Good. And when you get back, this dog, Nubs, is waiting for you, is that correct? Yeah, yeah, I got some great friends, a lot of great friends out there, Chrissy and Eric. are watching nubs right now. My friends, Tracy, Chris, all these, so many people have pitched in and helped. It's, it's made it. Right now, Chrissy and Eric are taking care of nubs. Well, listen, I remember you had written me an email and you had told me that you really wanted to, um, if, you know, if we were interested in the story that you really wanted to come on the Mikey show, um, uh, first and kind of give us the exclusiveness on it. And I really do appreciate that.
So with that in mind and with that being said, I wonder if you might be open to an idea. Okay. What would you think about your friends arranging it where you guys get to be reunited here on the air on the Mikey show? Where maybe they could bring Nubs into the studio and you could come in here and walk in the studio and when you come in here, you and Nubs get to see each other for the first time. Oh, that would just be a tearjerker. Oh, dude, I'm telling you, just thinking about it for me, just thinking about it for me sounds amazing. And, you know, I just think it would be really cool. It's up to you. But I think it would be really neat for listeners, too. I mean, if you did it where you got to see Nubs when you came home, it would be pretty cool and everything. But if you do it where you do it here on the air, like all... thousands of people get to experience something that we don't get to experience. And he'll get to save that moment forever. Like, he'll get to play that moment back for his kids and his kids' kids. Yeah, you know, because we'll save it for you. We'll put it on a CD for you. In fact, we'll probably even videotape it, and we'll give you that, too. Yeah, it is a very Disney moment. I'm telling you, man, I think it could be really, really cool.
It sounds kind of cool. Yeah, man, I think it really could be. Well, listen, a couple of questions, and then what I'd like to do is put you on hold because I want Rob, Boston Rob, to get information about your friends. If you're open to the idea, we'll get a hold of the folks that are taking care of Nubs right now, and we'll arrange it, and we'll make sure that they know that we're all on board, and I'm sure you'll talk to them too, and we can get all the details worked out. How's that sound? Yeah, there's a lot of logistics involved, but I definitely am open to talking about it. Eddie's got my email, so maybe we can figure it out. Okay, cool. Let me ask you a couple questions. We're talking to Major Brian Dennis, who's in Iraq right now. You've probably seen his story. He rescued a dog, flew the dog back here, and the dog is being watched by some friends right now. We think it's just a neat story, man. It's just so cool hearing somebody do something really great. What is morale like out there for you guys right now? I would say morale is extremely high out here. The guys we work with in the west here, in the border area, everyone's pretty focused on the mission. Everyone gets a tremendous amount of... He's on a satellite phone. I don't know how much time those satellite phones get. Hey, dude, stick a quarter in the satellite phone. Oh, for goodness sake.
He'll probably call back. He'll probably call back. Got to stick a quarter in that thing. That was so cool, man. Sounded pretty neat, right? Yeah, and if you want to see a picture of Nubs, I just sent the pictures to Sean. Okay. So we'll put them on the website. Oh, sweet. Very cool. What a neat story, right? Yeah. So rad. It's really a cool story. Hey, let's take some phone calls. Lots of people calling in. P1 Leonidas is on the line right now. Leonidas, what's going on? Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning. This is the greatest show this side of the Dagobah system. Definitely. Thank you very much, Eddie. I'm sure it appreciates that. Hey, I just wanted to ask you guys. I haven't heard you talk too much about it or at all, but are you guys going to the NFL draft this year? Oh. We don't know yet. Actually, we're still looking into it, and there's a lot of components involved in going to the NFL draft, and so we're still kind of trying to figure it out, and we'll let you know. Okay, great. And a quick question for the Oracle. What position do you think the Chargers should draft for? You know, it's tough because they're pretty loaded at most positions. If it were me, I would look at the offensive line just because some of those guys are getting older, and they're going to need some depth, and they're going to need a replacement for Drayton Florence, so maybe a defensive back, safety help. How many good, strong years do you think we're going to get out of Tomlinson? I would say probably at least another five to seven years. I mean, the guy's right now in the prime of his career. Yeah.
Hey, Leonidas, we got Major Brian Dennis back on, so I'm going to switch here, but thanks a lot, man. Major Dennis, are you there? Yeah, I'm back here. Can you hear me? Yeah, we can hear you. We got a connection. We're not going to keep you much longer. I was just going to ask you. When you get back, there's lots of things you're going to want to do, lots of people you're going to want to give hugs to, lots of people you're going to want to see, catch up, all that kind of stuff. But I'm curious, what is it that you can't wait to eat once you get back stateside? Oh, that's easy. About the last three months, I've been fantasizing about a carne asada burrito. There you go, man. I bet. More often than not, you hear that from guys that leave the area, period. Hey, what time is it? What time is it there in Iraq right now? It is 5.30 p.m. It's 6.25 in the morning here, just so you know. So is the sun still out real bright, or is the sun starting to go down? You know, the sun's probably about maybe 20 degrees off the horizon, and it feels pretty much like San Diego out here today. It's sunny and about 70 degrees. Nice. Very nice. Well, listen, you stay safe.
And we can't wait to see you when you get back. And hopefully we can get that thing together where we'll arrange for you guys to reunite. I think everybody would love to take part in that. And we'll just, I'll be praying for you, man. And God bless you and everything that you're doing out there for us. And we appreciate what you did for Nubs too. Hey, appreciate it. I'm a big fan of the show. So, you know, it's great to talk to you guys. And I'm glad to hear you're doing great back home. I hope to see you guys when I get back. That's awesome. Hey, thank you, man. Hey, thanks, brother. All right, we'll see you. We'll see you. That is really, really cool. It's Major Brian Dennis. Save the dog out there. And the dog's back here in San Diego now. And who knows? Maybe he'll let the two of them reunite right here on the Mikey Show. That story's getting out, too. Yeah. With all the mess of that other story yesterday. It's cool to see that there are guys that are doing the right things out there. For sure, man. I mean, that's so nice what he did. It's so nice. P1 Troublemaker, are you there? Yeah. What's going on, dude? Hey, well, I was having a little trouble with my girlfriend a little while back, and I wrote Ashley, and she gave me some advice. I followed what she said, and now me and my girlfriend's relationship is stronger than ever. Wow. Thank you. Really? Ash, do you know who it is? No idea. Do you recognize his typing voice? I don't remember. I mean, he would have to remind me. Yeah, what did she tell you?
She told me just to tell her how I felt and explain it to her and sit down and talk and just, you know, talk stuff out. And we did. And she cried a little bit. We talked. And now we're stronger than ever. I mean, everything's going great. You know, she was a fantastic girl. And I was just kind of, I was just confused on what to do. I've never been with a girl that's so fantastic. There you go, man. Well, thank you to Ashley. My pleasure. Very nice. Well done. Thank you. P1 Hydroponics is on the line. Hey, does Craig Gass have his own HBO special or something? Does he have something on TV? You know, I don't know. I don't know. I know Craig has his iron in about 50 billion fires. Right. And so every time I talk to him, there's always stuff going on. And even yesterday, he had to go to a press conference. He's on the Screen Actors Guild.
awards academy and so you know when the screen actors guild awards come out and they say i'd like to thank the screen actors academy he's on it and so he has he's got uh no country for old men right now uh that they sent him to watch and um so he's got stuff all the time um he was he just roasted for television Someone, I can't remember who. He was on that Next Best Thing. He was on that TV show Next Best Thing. He's got a lot of, he was at a press conference yesterday in Los Angeles. And I think it was something for. You say it was for that Rocklahoma thing. Is that what it was? I think that's what he was, we were talking about a little bit. Okay. And I also know that he was a big part of that Gene Simmons. What's that Gene Simmons reality show called? Family Jewels. Family Jewels. Because he does a really good Gene Simmons impression, and so his wife, Gene Simmons' wife, or girlfriend or whatever, Shannon Tweed, talked Craig into calling the house on the speakerphone and fooling the kids as Gene Simmons. Weird. And so he did. And so he's doing a lot of stuff. He's a comedian, and he does the best voices of anybody I've ever heard.
He's amazing. Speaking of... Do you know if he does John Madden? I don't know if he does John Madden. I'll ask him when I see him tomorrow. Craig Gass will be in the studio tomorrow and Friday, sitting in throughout the entire show, so you can expect Craig Gass Theater tomorrow and Friday. We won't see Craig today, but... I do know that Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken will be stopping back again today. Oh, good. Yes. More comedy for maybe Christopher Walken? Yeah. Hopefully. I like Christopher Walken. That Tom Arnold. Yeah. He's real tough to deal with. Well, they said, too, you know, this is what I heard, is that they might be bringing some celebrity friends in with them. Oh, that'll be good. Awesome. So, we'll have to see. Hopefully less of Tom. Yeah. Yeah, because he hogged the mic and all that stuff. And so it would be nice. This is what we're going to do. Why don't we take a little time out and when we come back, this is, first of all, let me tell you what we got on the show today. It's a pretty big show. I already told you, Christopher Walken, Tom Arnold back in the studio today. Today is also the return of Secret Crush. So we'll be doing some of that. We have a very cool...
P1 announcement to make before the hour is done. So all you P1s that really love the Mikey show, how would you like to hang out? We got something we were going to tell you and share with you about that. We got to talk about the primaries last night and what happened with all of that stuff. What else can I tell you? What else we got going on today? We got a lot of really cool audio and there's just a lot of fun stuff to do on the show. So hang with us. And when we come back, why don't I give you some of this. There is a news story coming out of Pasco, Washington. About a soldier who had his friend shoot him. What? So he could avoid taking a drug test at work. Wow. I know it. So, when we come back, we'll play you that. And we'll get into all the other stuff, too. And then before the hour's over, tell you how we're going to be hanging with you. P1 announcement. Hello? Subway. Eat fresh for a limited time only at participating restaurants. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. That's a tough ride right now in the 805 northbound. This all started with an accident here near Claremont Mesa Boulevard. Really started backing things up. It's still backed up here out of the valley from Mesa College pretty much all the way up to this accident scene. The slowing is starting to start really south of that now with our regular commute traffic coming up to National City off and on through North Park before you hit that heavy stuff in Kearney Mesa. Northbound 5 bunching up in the usual place past the 54 up to National City. Looking pretty good, though, out of the east county. The westbound 8's looking good all the way into the valley. The west 94 good to go into downtown. Heading south in the 15, you've got a few brake lights and some off and on slowing through Escondido now off to 78 down past Villarancho Parkway. And your coaster ride is starting to pick up some slow traffic as well here out of Encinitas down in towards Solana Beach. Down with Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Let me tell you something. If you... Okay, put the... Put A on pot three. And let me ask Boston Rob. Do you know what a hyperbaric chamber is, Rob? No. You do not? No. A hyperbaric chamber. It's where you go underwater real deep and you come up too fast and you get those little air bubbles in your bloodstream. Ooh, that doesn't sound like fun. They put you in a hyperbaric chamber and it equalizes everything and it makes you back to normal. Makes you good. Well, those hyperbaric chambers, like not just anybody can operate them. You have to know what you're doing.
It's like a whole... So I couldn't just walk in there and be like, press a couple buttons. I got this. I got my clear channel pass. Let me in. Can't do it. No. Okay. You have to know. And it actually pays pretty good to know because they want you to know. And so anyway, at this school that I've been telling you about, National Polytechnic College of Science... they will teach you how to do that and a lot more. They'll also teach you how to be EMT. You can work in the Department of Homeland Security. So I would say check their website out, natpoly.edu. That's N-A-T-P-O-L-Y dot E-D-U. The Mikey Show. Here's a Mikey moment. So we told you that the University of Michigan coach had a little melt. He's the women's coach. We don't block over. We're doing very damn well and we're not getting calls one or the other. That's where I'm frustrated. That's where my whole frustration comes in. Offensive rebounds. The entire thing came down to offensive rebounds. They got every stupid offensive rebound. What else do you want to know? Coach, I know maybe now is not the time, but do you have a white Honda the lights are on? The show continues. It is 6.40.
A judge yesterday officially named Anna Nicole Smith's daughter as her sole heir. Raiders were busy yesterday. They signed ex-Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker and former 49er offensive tackle Quaim Harris. Now, I don't know if you heard Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken in the studio yesterday, but it was pretty funny. Christopher Walken and Tom Arnold are going to be back today, and they said that they're bringing some celebrity friends with them. So, duh. That should be pretty cool. And what else can I tell you? If you want to read our blogs, go to MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. And in the keyword section, type in the word blogs, hit enter, and there you are. So during the commercial break, I was made aware of the fact that the big announcement we plan on making in 10 minutes was made yesterday at 1 o'clock. So... What? Surprise. Surprise. And Buzzkill. And surprise. Surprise. Yeah.
Yeah, you know what? Word got out. We weren't on the air at one o'clock. I know, but the word got out. Well, why are people saying words? I think sometimes words are words and words are words. You guys have probably heard that phrase before. I say that a lot. Yeah, I do too. And so what are you going to do? Well, when are they going to terminate that person? Well, they're not going to terminate anybody. There's certainly no reason. There's no reason to terminate anybody. I can't think of one. No, no, no. Come on. Ashley, where is the song? I want to play the song just because it's in my... I sit on you? Yeah. Where is it? I don't know, but I will get right on it. That needs to permanently be up. Rob, put up I sit on you. I want it permanently on... my wall that I can play at any time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. It's a really good song, I Sit On You, and Sean discovered it on one of the most, it's the number one show in America, actually. It is the number one show. We had never heard of that. It's the most watched program in America, and they say that the Nielsen rating sits, like more people watch this show every week than watched M.A.S.H. when it signed off the air. Wow. More than American Idol. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But it's on at 4 in the morning. No, it's not. It's crazy, too. It's on at 4.15 in the morning. It's on at 4.15. My bad. In the morning. And the show is called, what's it called, Sean? Tim and Eric Awesome Show. Great job. There you go. It's in orange. It's in green. This is what I do. I sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. This is what I do. He's so cute. I'm going to let you know right now, my mother-in-law does not understand this humor. This is what I do. No. Right now, my mother-in-law is singing, I'm not sure what part is the funny part. It's just nonsense. My mom wouldn't get it. No. She goes, that's just nonsense. Nonsense. It doesn't make it. It's nonsense. It's foolish. My mom would think this was like a political message. She would. That's Brock's new slogan. That's right. I sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you.
Right on your lap. So, okay. I told you that I wanted to tell you the story about this soldier that shot himself. What the heck? I know, dude. It's so weird. From KEPR Television in Pasco, Washington, where three out of seven of us began our careers. KEPR Television, Pasco, Washington. This news story about a soldier who had his friend shoot him so he could avoid taking a drug test. Cut 30. Investigators say they've never seen anything quite like this before. An Iraq war vet rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds. A gunshot wound cops say he wanted. Detectives say Daniel Kutch came in with a gunshot wound. A local 20-something who detectives tell Action News recently returned from serving in Iraq. Kutch and his friend first told authorities it was a drive-by. Sheriff's deputies say eventually the men came clean and confessed that Kutch wanted to know what it was like to be shot and that he wanted to avoid a drug test at Walmart where he worked. Deputies say Kutch's friend Curtis Johnson is the one who shot him and then dumped the gun in the Columbia River. Johnson is also in the military. He recently returned from Iraq, according to police. It's funny. You know, it's just what I want.
It's hysterical. In the end, he's going to get in trouble anyway. I'm very surprised that somebody around here would go to the level of doing something like that. It's very shocking. And the 19-year-old friend who took Kutch into the hospital is also in jail tonight on an unrelated assault charge. Live in the newsroom, Rutabay Shabazi, Action News. You can't make it up. It's so stupid. Wow. Yeah. This is what I do. I shoot you. I shoot on you. Shoot on you. What an interesting story. This is what I do. I sit on your lap. Kids inside. I swear we're all fine. Yes. This is what I do. I sit on. Listen to that for like three hours of the different places he sits. Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes. I don't care where he's sitting. I want to hear about it. A park bench. A sofa. I don't care. I love it. And I find each one interesting. Oh, okay. Oh, you do. I sit there. I did not know. Well, that is fantastic. Thank you for sharing that. So this is what happened last night. It looks like there may be a momentum switch going on between Barack and Hillary. It's really interesting how it works in the Democratic Party because you got...
Normal delegates and superdelegates. It's so weird. It's not like the Republican side. It's like everybody votes and that's that. But with the Democrats, it's like they have to get a certain amount of this and a certain amount of this. Yeah, the superdelegates count for more votes than a single delegate. It's so strange. So anyway, it's kind of hard to figure out. And to be honest with you, I don't even know who's ahead of who. It may be a case where like, do you know, Sky, like somebody who's ahead of who? Well, you know, in regards to the Republicans, McCain clinched it in regards to the Democrat. Congratulations. In regards. Thank you. Congratulate me, too. I'm happy to. Well, I mean, but your boy had to kind of finally. Yeah. Yeah. But I mean, listen, out of everybody that was running in the Republican in the Republican Party. Yeah. I like McCain and I like Huckabee. You know, my. Number one choice was Huckabee. Right. But I really like John McCain, you know? Yeah. So in regards to the Democrats and their delegate count, Obama is still leading. See, they need 2,025 delegates to clinch it. Right now, Hillary has 1,391 and Obama has 1,477. Wow. Change. Very close.
So let's hear what Hillary screamed last night. 22. And across America who's ever been counted out but refused to be knocked out and stumbled but stood right back up and for everyone and never gives up, this one is for you. Thank you. She really does. She gets into it. 23. They say, as Ohio goes, so goes the nation. Yeah. Who says that? I've never heard that. I've never ever heard that. They say that. They say that. Cleveland Browns. Well, this nation's coming back, and so is this campaign. Ohio have said it loudly and clearly. We're going on, we're going strong, and we're going all the way. Yeah.
Eddie, do you think that her Saturday Night Live stuff and Jon Stewart stuff helped? Yes. You do? Yeah. Like it made people think. She's fun. She's a human being. She's not so stuffy. Well, and I kind of have a theory. Like because so Obama had all this momentum and he had taken the lead. So the Republicans kind of started going after Obama and started criticizing Obama. And I think that got into people's heads. They're like, oh, well, I didn't think about that. And then they. And then now that Hillary has a little momentum, we could just flip-flop all the way to the end. You know what I mean? You know, on the Republican side, I think they want Hillary to win. I think she's easier to beat. I agree. So maybe that's the deal. Could be. Here is what Barack had to say last night. Cut 24. We do know that Senator Clinton has won Rhode Island. And while there are other votes to be counted in Ohio, it looks like she won there too. I want to congratulate Senator Clinton for running a hard-fought race in both Ohio and Rhode Island. We also know that we've won the state of Vermont. Vermont's still a state. And we know this, no matter what happens tonight, we have nearly the same delegate lead as we did this morning. And we are on our way to winning this nomination. Well, there it is.
I gotta hear this. I gotta hear McCain. He clinched it last night. McCain. He got enough of the vote of the... He got enough of the delegates last night to clinch the sucker. I am very grateful for the broad support you have given our campaign. And I am very, very grateful... and pleased to note that tonight, my friends, we have won enough delegates to claim with confidence, humility, and a great sense of responsibility that I will be the Republican nominee. Mike Huckabee, cut 19. Ladies and gentlemen, I called Senator McCain a few moments ago. It looks pretty apparent tonight that he will, in fact, achieve $1,191
delegates to become the Republican nominee for our party. I extended to him not only my congratulations, but my commitment to him and to the party to do everything possible to unite our party, but more importantly, to unite our country so that we can be the best nation we can be, not for ourselves, but for the future generations to whom we owe everything. Ladies and gentlemen, the Mikey Show returns from this quick time out for only the 9th First time on this radio station, we will tell you what we are doing with our P1s. That's right. First time on our show. That's right. We will tell you what we are doing with our P1s. That is when we come back. And don't forget, Tom Arnold, Christopher Walken, back on the Mikey Show today. And they say they're bringing... Oh, that was... The music ended kind of abruptly. They are bringing some celebrity friends with them.
Yes. And so the announcement coming up next for the first time here on the Mikey Show. Ninth time on the station. On a Rock 105.3. I do it for the ladies, but I gotta keep a hood. This is the number one song in the country on iTunes. I see you on it. It's Usher. Featuring Young Jeezy. We just get started. The song is called Love in the Club. Welcome back. It is 7.02. Well, it seemed like Ashley Simpson was intoxicated during a radio interview yesterday morning. Brett Favre stuns the NFL and retired yesterday. Speaking of Ashley Simpson and the speculation that she was drunk on a radio show, we actually have the audio of her on that radio show, and we will be playing that. You can decide for yourself.
Truth is, I haven't heard it yet. So we'll all hear it together. Tom Arnold, Christopher Walken, hanging out in the studio yesterday. And who knows? Well, we know this. They're coming back. But they said they're bringing a bunch of friends. They're bringing a lot of celebrity friends. And so we'll have to find out who that is. And so that'll be in about an hour from now. Before we went to break, I told you that I was going to play you this audio of Brett Favre. Leaving a voicemail for Chris Mortensen. And that guy is dialed in, man. That Chris Mortensen. Who's that? He's a dude on ESPN that is like an insider. And I always wonder about insiders. Whether it's a political insider, sports insider, anybody insider. Because they really are dug in. And I don't know why. For some reason, celebrities, sports people, they know to call them. Because they know that they're the ones that get all the information out to people. And I think that part of being.
a good insider is establishing some kind of level of trust. And so, you know, my guess is that Chris probably said to Brett, hey, man, is it cool if I let people hear your voicemail? It really does say it all, that kind of thing, you know? Like, I definitely don't think that Brett didn't know he was going to release it. But anyway, it's pretty cool. Voicemail from Brett Favre to Chris Mortensen, cut 25. To me, and Deanna and I talked about this, I just, I mean... I thought to myself, I wonder if I should make this observation. I can hear that his house is very large.
His home is very large. Very echoey. You can hear very high ceilings. Unpause. To me, and Deanna and I talked about this, that it would be successful is to go to a Super Bowl. And if we did that and lost, that would almost be worse than anything. So anything less than this year would have been, I mean, for me, a lot of people, because expectations obviously are going to be high, but anything... Less than a Super Bowl win would be, and I know it shouldn't be an unsuccessful year, but to me it was the only way to come back and feel like I made the right decision would be to come back and win a Super Bowl. And the odds of that are, they're tough. And big shoes to fill for me. And I mean, it was a challenge I guess I wasn't up for. I know I can play.
That's what it came down to. Talk about a real inside look at somebody. That is a moment where Brett Favre is just letting it all fly to Chris Mortensen. My question is, what was Chris Mortensen doing where he couldn't take that call? Yes. What was he doing? How do you look at your phone and it says, Brett Favre, you're like, eh. Send a voicemail. Exactly. You hit the voicemail button and then you continue talking to the Ace Hardware guy in Paint. Eddie, what do you think of what he said? You know, I completely understand that. You always want to leave on a high note. My only thing is, well, Brett, I mean, your goal every year is to win the Super Bowl and everything other than that is a disappointment. That's every single season.
The fact that he had a great season last year, they made it to the championship game, that's great, but you've still got to be disappointed because you didn't win the Super Bowl. Unless you can be like John Elway where you go out a Super Bowl champion, you're always going to be disappointed. Just call it quits when you're ready, and it sounds like he's ready. He's right. They had a great season. It makes sense to me. All right, are you ready for this announcement? Oh, I've been on the edge of my seat. Ladies and gentlemen, the Mikey Show will be doing a P1 lunch with all of you. That's right. You're all invited. Ta-da. That's right. Now, some of you may be wondering, well, why is he saying it like that? Well, I thought we were going to be announcing it for the first time. They were announcing it all day on the radio yesterday, which is fine. I just didn't know. And so anyway, we're going to be doing a Mikey Show P1 Appreciation Lunch. We've been hearing, hey guys, let's do this for a while. And so we are. And so what we're going to do is we're going to be at Joe's Crab Shack in Mission Valley from noon to one on Friday. It's going to be March 14th. And it's going to be very, very cool. And we want to see everybody come out to this Mission Valley, Joe's Crab Shack. Come hang with us.
It's going to be very cool. Noon to one. And it's going to be Friday, March 14th. Take your lunch. That's right. Go to lunch. That's right. So come and hang out with us. And you know what it is? I told them that I'm kind of glad that it isn't necessarily a broadcast. And the reason that I am is because I think that all of us on the show, when we do a broadcast, we're pretty focused on the broadcast. we're thinking about the broadcast. And when you're on the air, your mind is in a different place than when you're off the air. And so, um, when we're not having to broadcast and we could be there, it's kind of like being at a party and you can just kind of like loosen up, mingle, hang out. And that is cool. I didn't, your thing wasn't on. Sorry about that. I just turned on. Sorry. Uh, so. Oh, weird. I know it. I know it. All of a sudden, I saw you move your mouth and I couldn't hear you. I'm like, what is going on? I said some things earlier and you totally didn't respond. I'm like, that's weird. He didn't respond at all. Your thing wasn't on. Anyways, so it's cool to be able to be in an atmosphere and an environment where you can just... It's like being at a cocktail party. Yeah. And so it's going to be a lot of fun and I think people are really going to like it a lot. I like it a lot. That's right. So let's do this. Quick time out.
When we come back, don't play Lyrical Gangsta. Also, don't forget, next hour, in the 8 o'clock hour, Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken will be back bringing some of their celebrity friends. And so that should be great. So don't go away. And call right now if you want to play Lyrical Gangsta. 570-1053. It is going to be awesome, Lyrical Gangsta. She might have left my hood, but she was born in life. If you know the lyrics to songs you want to play, be right back. I love you, Michael. What are you even talking about? I'm Michael. Mark 105.3. I would strongly suggest going to their website. It is Border Patrol, B-O-R-D-E-R-P-A-T-R-O-L dot gov. Podcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the official... That is a far out statement. K-I-O-C, San Diego's Rock 3. Now back to the Mikey Show with Mikey. I want my want like I want my want. Eddie. Well, I'm married. No. The sky. I get the news together. And I know, um, the news. Sean. I love it when black people make fun of white people. Boston Rob. I'm a go-getter. And Ashley. I am a great driver. The Mikey Show's on. Five-three.
It's a Mikey show at 7.15. Last night on American Idol, there was no mention of the news that contestant David Hernandez used to be a stripper. Seattle Seahawks fans rejoice. They have signed running back TJ Duckett. Do you know what I just thought of right now, you guys? Like, we have a lot of fun during the commercials. We're joking around. We're having fun. And I love how fun and funny it sounds when we open the mics up and we're all goofing around. And he just shot me. I mean... He shot your horse. The horse was out of control. I know my horse was out of control and you had good intentions, but you hit me. Oh, sorry. And then I fell over dead. So check this out. Do you guys remember? Because I love that. Like, I've always loved it. We had a program director in San... I won't say who. I won't say who. But we had a program director in San Jose that said, you guys have to stop doing that. And I remember my face dropping like, how... But...
And I said to him, I go, but that's fun. Yeah, friends having fun. It's having friends with friends, and listeners like to hear it. Yeah, don't do that anymore. Not really. Great. So then we had to be all professional. I am so glad that our program director, Shauna, here does not mind that we're not professional, and she recognizes that we're not, and says just be you guys. Prefers it. Yeah, prefers it. She's good. enjoyed that's a little johnny cash doing sound garden that's always good our old program director would have said to johnny cash you can't do that that's not professional i would not do that the mikey show presents the search for the truth behind the words the logic behind the lyrics it's time to play miracle gangster it's a fun game you get to play it as you're driving to work in your car there are many of you that are listening right now that are very shy and you would never call in to play
Even though when we do it, you go, I could get all of these. I know them all. I know them all. But you should call to play. Eddie, what's the prize today? We got tickets to go see the new Will Ferrell movie, Semi-Pro. Look at that. I know there's somebody listening right now that's going, oh, I love Will Ferrell movies. That's number one. I'm just so shy. You should call in. Especially if you know the lyrics to songs. I would play. Be bold like P1 Patrick. Patrick, you there? All right, Patrick, as you know, when we play this game, we give listeners a choice. And so you have three categories in which to pick from. Would you like to be quizzed on the lyrics of 70s classics, early 90s hip-hop, or 80s love songs? Sean. You got it. Your question is... In the song Lost in Love by Air Supply, he very effeminently says, You know you can't fool me. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. This is not the revision. I reprinted out the revision. This is not the revision. Where is it now? Where is the revision? I reprinted it out. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh.
Is there another question in that category you can go to? Yes, there is. Let me do that. You have it? Yes. I don't have the... You read it, Ash. You read it. Okay. In the song All Out of Love by Air Supply, he says, I'm all out of love. I'm so lost without you. I know you were right. Believing what? Yes. Oh, wow. Yes. He even sang it. So long. I would win in the category of 80s love songs every single time. Please. That's right. Hang on the line. Got that one on my gay pod. Nice. P1AP. Yeah. 70s classics, early 90s hip-hop, or 80s love songs? It's got to be 80s love songs. It's so easy, right? You got it. I love it. In the song, In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel. Wow. I see the doorway to a thousand what? I'm sorry, it's churches. I see the doorway.
It's just absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking is what it is. Eddie's holding up his boom box. Eddie's holding up his boom box. I think his arms would get tired. Get it up there so she loves you. P1, Christy is on the line. Hello. Hi, Christy. Hi. Christy, what do you do for a living? Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom, actually. Very nice. Very nice. How many kids? I have three kids. All right. All right. I rarely do this, but I'll let you give them a plug. What are their names? Oh, it's Austin, Alina, and Isabel. Now, how did Alina come about? Where'd you come up with that name? I just, I don't, I started out with, you know, just went from there. I kind of made it up. Do, when you get called into the doctor's office, you know, the nurse comes out with a clipboard and she reads the names, you know, for the person to come back. Did they ever screw it up? Oh, all the time. Yep. All right. They say Lena a lot. Oh, boy. All right, Christy, your categories are 70s classics, early 90s hip-hop, and 80s love songs. What do you want? I'm going to get a 90s hip-hop. You got it. Oh, come on, Mike. Your 90s hip-hop song, sorry, Sean, is...
In the song, Nothing But a Good... Oh, excuse me. See, I'm very unfamiliar with 90s hip-hop, so I have to try to read it like a white guy. Oh, me, oh, my. In the song, Nothing But a G-Thang by Dr. Dre, Dre says to chill until the next what? To chill until the next episode. Nicely done. You are a winner, Christy. You really are a lyrical gangsta. Yeah, you're straight up G. You're straight up G. Off the hizzy. Yeah, hang on the line. P1 Ponce, are you there? Yes, Mikey, what's going on? Not too much, dude. What do you do? I am a member service supervisor at San Diego County Credit Union. Very nice. How old are you? 23. Very nice. Very nice. Good job at 23 years old. Thank you very much. Would you like 70s classics?
Early 90s hip-hop or 80s love songs? 90s hip-hop. Got it. Your 90s hip-hop question is, in the song Can't Touch This by MC Hammer, he says, my, my, my, my music hits me so hard makes me say what? I think I was like four when the song came out. Oh, why'd you pick the category, bro? Why'd you pick the category, bro? Oh, my. Yeah. He says, my Lord. Get it. Let me tell you something. Eddie and Sky know they're hip hop. They're 90s hip hop. Like nobody I've ever met before. Like you guys could go up against each other. What are you doing? Eddie, what are you doing? Eddie, what are you doing? Yeah. What is that move called? He's grabbing the ankle and jerking the body. I don't know what that move is called. It's a popular move. It's a very popular move.
It's called Very Good. Let's see. P1G, are you there? How you doing, Mikey? Good, man. How old are you? I am 37. What do you do? I'm a salesman. What do you sell? I sell copy equipment. Very nice. Selling copies. We just ran out of toner back by the office. Yeah, if you could bring us some toner, we'd really appreciate it. We don't know how to put it in, though. It was a bummer. All right. Here are your categories. Wow. 70s classics, early 90s hip-hop, or 80s love songs? I'll go for 70s classics. Good category. You got it. In the song Tiny Dancer by Elton John. Oh, good, Mike. Elton says, Ballerina. You must have seen her. Dancing in the what? In the light. Oh, I'm so angry. I'm angry at you. No, dude. Calm down, Skye. That's right. I urge you to make a photocopy of the lyrics. Dude, dude. She was dancing in the sand. Of course she was, Mike. Come on. Come on. Must have seen her dancing in the sand. Gorgeous. Oh, what a great song. Gorgeous. Oh, I want more. I know it. I almost want to play the whole song. Just do it. All right, fine. I'm playing. Yeah. Come on. Let's hear it. Let's play it. What the best day ever? Best day ever. Best day ever. I don't even care. I'm going to do it. Come on, Mike. Yeah.
We'll get Tiny Dancer, but Gary Schoenweiler is going to get really mad. And he's going to say, why are you playing Tiny Dancer on a rock station? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. It's a really good thing that I brought my rainbow suspenders in today. I got my goofy hat on. Eddie's got on his orange Afro wig, the goofy hat, and Skye's wearing her oversized sunglasses. My wife was really disappointed. I mean, she was devastated. So I may devastate a couple other people by telling them, but Elton John didn't write one Elton John song. He did the music. He had a friend who did all the lyrics. She said, he didn't say that song? I go, no. I go, what does it matter? He had a friend. They worked together. They did it together. He did all the music.
He doesn't face me. Who is the guy? Who is the guy? Bernie Coppell. That's right. Bernie Coppell, the guy that played Doc on the Love Boat? Yep. Lyricist. The guy was great. How good is this song in Almost Famous? Oh, that's all I think of. We're all on the bus. It's been a tough day, Annie. It's been a tough day. This is going to bring us together. So what did they do? They all started singing on the bus, right? Well, one started singing in the back of the bus, and then it kind of coughed. and then by the end, they were all in it together as a team and friends, and they could get through anything. I got to see Almost Famous. Oh, good. Have you seen it? Oh, no, I've seen it, but now... She was going to jump over that. Doesn't Philip Seymour Hoffman play a DJ in that movie? No, he plays the writer for Rolling Stone. I'm going to let people enjoy this song, and then I'll pop on at the end, because I love this song. You're a good man.
Did you have a neighbor that was, like, throwing cigarette butts in your yard? You caught him because you were checking him out on the video camera? Yeah. Yeah, they were trying to say to the homeowners association that they weren't responsible. So I set up a camera and I caught him. Nice. So that's what I want to hear. Or maybe a babysitter doing something that they weren't supposed to do. Maybe someone stealing your camera. Yeah. I mean, it could have been a hanky-panky situation, but, you know, it doesn't need to be something very... I'm not looking for the graphic stuff. It could be anything, but... You know what to do. 570-1053. Have you ever caught somebody on a hidden camera you suspect? Even a pet. I've been thinking about setting up a hidden camera. Oh, my. I think that my cats are responsible for some stuff, and I want to know which one. I asked them both, and they both are like, I didn't do it. Jake did it. And I said, I don't believe it. 570-1053. Call us right now. You ever caught anybody doing something on a hidden camera? That's next. 570-1053.

by Sleep Train mattress centers. Looking at a typical ride for the most part here, we do have a new accident, eastbound 94 to 125 here. We've got CHP pretty much on the scene at this one. Watch for that here on the right-hand shoulder. Your westbound commute to 94, you've got the usual slow traffic here developing just towards the 805 freeway and then again into downtown. Westbound 8 getting a little bit rougher here out of the East County through the Mesa from Spring Street. Okay, what can I do for you?
I just wanted to encourage people to go out there and vote Hillary today. Well, okay. I just wanted to let them know that Barack Obama smokes crack cocaine. No, he does not. That's not true. That's not true. We're not going to allow this. I want to let everybody know that he also shoots heroin with needles between his toes. Don't say that, Barbara. The Mikey Show continues. Brock 105.3. Welcome back to The Mikey Show. It is 7.40. It was a good night for Hillary Clinton with her taking three of the four primaries last night. Patriots are running out of defensive backs left and right so they went out and signed Jason Webster from the Buffalo Bills. So before we went to break, we said that we were going to be taking your phone calls about anybody that has caught somebody doing something on a hidden camera. Now, what I mean is you set up a video camera and you just start taping because...
You suspect something's going on. Like, in my case, I said, one of the cats was urinating in my office. Now, obviously, I don't know which one. But whichever one it was, you know, I want to give an eviction notice and say you have to move out. Absolutely. And you have three days to find a new home. Three? Yeah, 30, 30 days. No, three minutes. With cats, I thought that California state law says you can evict them within three days unless they have a supervisor that'll vouch for them. Oh, okay, you could be right. So, here's the thing. Have any of you listening ever caught something on hidden camera? 570-1053-P1. Andy is on the line. Are you there, Andy? Hey, what's up, man? How you doing? Not too much, man. What'd you find? Actually, the thing is that me and my parents were watching TV a while back ago, and we knew this lady that was a friend of a family, and she was babysitting a kid. The lady that was the homeowner, the mom of the baby, caught that lady beating the kid. She caught her on tape, and we found on the news that she was getting deported. Wow. Now, is this somebody that you knew, or you just saw this on TV? Yeah, no, no, no. The babysitter, we knew her.
And it was crazy because we kind of recognized her on the news. And then they said the name, and we were all tripping out. And we knew the lady, and then they said that she was getting deported. Now, had you ever used her as a babysitter? No, actually, we didn't. How did you know her? She was a friend of yours, a neighbor person. Because we used to go to church together. Yeah. So we knew her. We knew all her family and everything. And out of nowhere, you hear her name. And then they said that she was getting deported because she was beating a kid. She had no papers. There you go. Hey, Andy, appreciate the phone call. P1 Danger, are you there? Yeah. What's up, Mikey? Not too much, dude. Now, I want you to start with what made you set the camera up, and then what did you see? Well, we knew we had a problem with our cat getting on our kitchen table. By the fur, we judged that we had two cats. We determined that it was one cat, so we kept punishing that one. But then we started getting urine on the kitchen table. I'm going to tell you right now, whether or not my wife is upset at this hearing it or not, that would happen once at our house. That would only happen one time. We set up the video camera to accurately determine which one it was, and it was the other cat. How far did you have to fast forward into the tape to see it? Oh, hours. I had the camera going all night, so probably about three or four hours into it.
Saw the cat getting up there, doing his business, and laying on the other end of the table. Oh, my God. So gross. I'm going to recommend a product to cat owners. Shotguns. Hey. Not funny. I gave one to, who did I give it to? One of our friends. Oh, it was our friend Tommy. I gave our friend Tommy one. The product is called Scat. It's C... Listen to me. You be quiet. C... No. S... S-C-A-T-T-T-T-T is how they spell it. Okay. And what it is... You can just Google it, right? No, no. I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Google that and then put the word pet products. Yes. Pet products, okay?
Maybe not even do that. Maybe not even do that. Maybe just go to a pet store and ask them if they partner. Go to petco.com or something, will you? And then in their search thing, put scat. With all the extra T's on it. With all the extra T's, okay? And what it is, is it's an aerosol can that sits wherever you put it, and if something, it's a motion detector, and it sprays a non-lethal... burst of air along with a very annoying beep that scares the cats. And they stop going up there. And it's not dangerous and it's not, you know, it just trains them that they don't want to get up there because they think it's going to go off. P1 paparazzi is on the line. Oh, wow.
That was, I mean, I basically, the first syllable had come out of my mouth and Eddie's face dropped. Paparazzi, of course, as you know, is one of our listeners. He is a guy that used to take a lot of pictures when we would go and do events. Can't wait to hear about his hidden camera. Paparazzi, what did you... Is it in this studio? Paparazzi, where was your hidden camera set up? My hidden camera was set up in a classroom opposite to a... There's like two or three large trays of Legos in a technology room in eighth grade. And after class was over during recess, somebody was taking like all three of the big buckets full of Legos and dumping them all over the floor. So we thought it had to be a couple of the troublemaker guys in the class. And I was a teacher's aide at the time. And it turned out to be two girls. And you could see them come in, sneak, and look around. Nobody's looking. They dump one. They run out. They come back in. They look around again, dump them on the ground again. And so when we brought it to attention, said, hey, you know, we know you're dumping them. They're like, no, we never did it. Took the principal's office. They sat there and watched the film. And their faces just dropped. Really? Oh, it was hilarious. Dude, I would like a videotape of them watching that videotape. Yeah. It was so great. Oh, that's fantastic. Thank you, paparazzi. P1 Unemployed, are you there?
Yeah. What's your sister catch? My sister, I set up a hidden camera for her so she could spy on her babysitter. And the babysitter, who was watching her one-year-old daughter, got high, fell asleep on the couch, and then when she woke up, she rifled through her desk. Wow. That's creepy. That's horrible. That is not good. That is not good. And so did she show the tape to her, or how did she confront her? She showed it to her mother. What did her mother say? Her mother flipped out. Oh, I bet. Oh, I bet, man. You got to be careful. You never know what somebody could be taping. I got to tell you, though, when you confront the person and show them the tape, there is nothing that feels more gratifying than going, who's that? You want to explain to me what's going on in there? It's the best. It's the best. Candy, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What did you find?
Basically, we caught one of our clients actually taking an envelope full of money off of the front desk. Really? Wow. Yeah. What kind of job? What kind of thing? What was this? Basically, what I do is market research. And to make a long story short, one of our clients saw the money sitting there and didn't think anybody was watching. He didn't know we had cameras. So he took the envelope, stuck it in his pocket. Were you guys really surprised when you saw that it was that person? Was it somebody that you would have gone, yeah, I could see that. Or were you really shocked? Really shocked. Really? Are you kidding me? This is pathetic. They were a vice president of a company? Yeah. Oh, my. And it's not like the amount of money. It was really, it was chump change to them. That's so crazy. Wow. Hey, thanks for the call. We got P1 Giants fan. His uncle, wait till you hear what his uncle did. Giants fan. Hey, what's going on? What'd your uncle do? First of all, who videotaped your uncle? My grandma did.
Well, actually, it was in her house, and my dad actually set up the camera for her. Wow. And you caught your uncle, your dad's brother? No, my dad's sister's husband. Oh, okay. Your dad's sister's husband. So this is kind of like an uncle-in-law. Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. Okay. And so what did he catch him doing? Well, we caught him. My grandma would go on vacation. She'd come back. And all of her stuff would kind of be, you know, in her bedroom, be all kind of out of place and everything. And so we found out that my uncle was going into her bedroom when she was on vacation. He was supposed to be watching the house, you know, feeding the animals and stuff like that. And he was trying on her underwear. No! Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh, dude. Oh, my gosh. Your uncle-in-law was trying on your grandmother's underwear. What? Yeah, that's pretty much where that is. So whose job was it to let him know they knew? Actually, my grandpa was the one who went and confronted him. Oh, yeah. And wait a minute. Question before. Did he confront him alone or in front of the wife? Your aunt. Your aunt. He confronted him in front of the whole family. Shut up. No. Okay. Describe, describe, describe, describe, describe. How did it go down?
Well, we videotaped it, you know, and then they came back from vacation and we were supposed to have a dinner for everybody. And my dad, you know, took them in the bed, you know, not the bedroom, the little den area and had a little TV set up to show my grandpa. My grandpa came running out. And in front of everybody, you know, what are you doing trying on my wife's underwear? And my aunt was just stunned. They're not together anymore, needless to say. Wow. So it was, you know, you're just putting together the family tree here. It was, you know, basically your aunt's mother. He was trying on the underwear of his wife's mother. Oh my gosh. His mother-in-law. His mother-in-law. Creepy. How long did it take before the relationship ended? Well, basically my aunt stayed at my grandma's house for that night and about a week after that. And she didn't want anything to do with him. She kicked him out of the house and he moved out. basically, yeah, about a month later, like officially moved out and they've been divorced for over a year and a half now. Oh, wow. That is unbelievable. That is bizarre. Hey, dude, thanks for the call. Appreciate that. Bizarre and sexy. I know you'll like them. I love them. So guess what we're going to do next? Another secret crush. Wow, I'm ready. Another secret crush.

The stuff in the box right there is yours. And so just take that stuff. But where is it? Yeah, where should I put it? It's in the closet next to my stuff. But how will I know which one it is? Oh, so I see you're trying to say stuff to me. Well, keep talking that mess. Well, is it the one on the right or the one on the left? The one on the left. It said to the left. Well, you just have to say something. I'm sorry. Your own is in a box to the left. Okay, I'm sorry. It's $7.58. A judge yesterday officially named Anna Nicole Smith's daughter as her sole heir. It is called Secret Crush. The idea behind Secret Crush is whether you're a guy, you're a girl, whatever, you get a hold of us and you say, I like this person. I'm not really sure if they feel the same way back about me. What you do is you use us. We could be like a jumbotron for you. It immediately transports me back to when you like the girl or guy or whatever and you get those weird feelings in your stomach and you're like, oh man, I can't do this. I can't ask this person out. The fear of rejection is overwhelming.
And then when it works out, you're like, holy cow. We've been doing very good with this. We're going to try to continue the streak today. P1 Christina, are you there? Christina, how old are you? Well, it was really hard to hear you. I know, I know. I had the music playing in your ear. How old are you? I'm 29. You're 29 years old. What do you do? Oh, I'm an office worker, you know, just hanging out in the law offices. Okay. And the guy that you like, his name is Derek. Yes. Okay. You're 29. How old is Derek? 33. A little older than you. And you know that he's single? Yes, as far as I know. I mean, we've become friends for a while now, so I think he would have mentioned something about his girlfriend if he had somebody that was serious or something. Now, tell me this, Christina. Why has something not happened yet, in your opinion?
Oh, man. I don't even know, actually. I've had really funky experiences with guys. I've always been the one to make the first move. And I've talked to guys that I've dated and ex-boyfriends about why that was. And most of them come back and say that I was just intimidating. That I just have... I don't know. Just that there's something about me that makes it... You're just that hot. Say it, Christina. Are you really good looking? You're a fox, baby. You can say it. I mean, I think I'm pretty, but I don't think I'm like some supermodel or something. So tell me about Derek. What's Derek like? What does he look like? And what kind of guy is he? Wow, okay. I didn't know you guys were going to get this intricate. I mean, I love you guys. I listen to you all the time, and I love this idea of
revealing this idea of my crush on the air, but... Like, is he out of your league? Would you say he's out of your league, or do you guys think, you know, are you on the same level? I think he's in my league. That's good. He's one of the new lawyers. Oh, he's a lawyer? Yeah. Hello. But, Kimmy, I want to know details. I want to know what he looks like and what you like about him. Okay. He's about... Like just under six feet tall, I guess. And he has... About a foot taller than Rob. Sandy blonde hair. And he looks like he works out pretty regularly. Yeah. Oh, well, hello. How many squats? Yeah, how much can he squat? I think is the biggest question that we want to know right now. Can I be his spotter? What do you like about him, Christina?
Wow, besides the butterflies that I get all over my body. Oh, hello, that. Yeah. He's just, he's a good down-to-earth guy, you know. He makes me laugh, and he's a smart aleck the way I am. I'm going to tell you something right now, Christina. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a break. When we come back, I'm going to call Derek and I'm going to let him know that you have something to tell him. Now, I have sensed during the length of the time that we've been talking that you are a bit apprehensive. And so I'm going to ask you to please try to lose that over the next few minutes. Okay. Open a bottle of wine real quick. No, I don't know that this is really a time of drinking your wine. That's a good idea, Eddie. That's a good idea. Yeah. Well. Just take the edge off. Okay. Maybe just a little. This is my quill, whatever you got. Christina. Here's the deal. When we come back, we're going to call Derek. I'm going to turn it over to you. And I'm going to tell you what I've told everybody else up to this point. You really want to tell Derek what it is about him that makes you have those butterflies. Tell him that he makes you laugh. Tell him that he looks like he works out. Tell him that you think he's handsome. Tell him how you feel whenever he walks into the room. Because those are the things...
that are going to make him not be able to say anything, but yeah, I'm open to this, okay? Okay. All right, so get your head together, and take a few minutes, take a deep breath. Yeah, we know it's not easy, so. It isn't easy. You're going to do it, girl. It's going to be okay. Okay. But when we come back, we're going to call him, and I want you to take a deep breath and give it a shot, okay? Okay. We'll be right back. Mikey. Number one thing that I think people should know about cricket is that they don't keep you in a contract. So if you're with any of those other companies, you're very familiar with a contract and the fact that they got you for a couple of years. Right. And if you want to change anything, They'll say, sure, we'll change it. Like, for instance, if you want to buy a new phone, they'll say, yeah, we'll do that for you, but you've got to sign up for another year on this contract. Cricket doesn't do that to you. John McCain clinched the Republican nomination last night and will meet with the president for his endorsement today. Odd timing yesterday. Warren Sapp decided to announce his retirement on the same day that Brett Favre did. Just a little while. We will have Christopher Walken and Tom Arnold back in the studio. So if you heard that clip, don't worry. They're coming back today. Before we left, we were talking to P1 Christina. And we do this thing on the show called Secret Crush. The idea behind Secret Crush is, of course, somebody calls us or they write us and they let us know that they have a secret crush on somebody and they want to let them know. And so we got an email from Christina and
And she likes this guy named Derek. She works at a law office. I could tell that when we asked her that, she was a little embarrassed about saying because she probably doesn't want people to recognize her. But she works at a law office here in San Diego. There is a new guy that is working in the law office. I assume that he is an attorney. He's an attorney, right, Christina? Yes. And you think he is very handsome. The bee's knees. He is the bee's knees. That's right. All right. So here's what we're going to do, Christina. We are going to call him right now. Okay. We are going to, uh, tell him who we are and are going to then turn it over to you. And I'm going to give you the opportunity to tell him that you, uh, are the person that has a secret crush on him. And, uh, then I will facilitate asking him if he is open to the idea of exploring that a little bit more. Okay. Is that cool? Yes. All right. Now, uh, The only thing is, is that we do not know what Derek will say. Right. But hopefully, Derek is open to this idea. And I just want to remind you that you're on the radio and to be respectful of that by making sure that you don't freeze up on us, okay? Okay. Okay. Are you ready to do this? Yes. Here we go. Derek, this is Mikey Collin from Rock 105.3. How are you doing this morning, man?
I'm okay, thank you. How are you? I'm good. Hey, listen, I don't mean to catch you off guard. I want to let you know that you're on the radio and that we do something here on the Mikey Show called Secret Crush. And the idea behind Secret Crush is that we let listeners let us know when they have a secret crush on somebody and we give them the opportunity to be able to tell that person. And so I guess my first question for you is, did you know... That somebody has a secret crush on you. I was not aware of that. Yes. Somebody, in fact, does have a secret crush on you. And her name is Christina. Christina, are you there? Yeah. I am now going to turn the reins over to you, Christina. And I want you to let Derek know what you think about him. Okay. I just think that... You're amazing. You make me laugh, and you're a smart aleck the way I am, and I get butterflies when I'm in a room with you, and I think that you are really, really hot. And I just think that you're a really smart and fun person that I would love to...
to get to know more than just friends. For a second, Eddie, I thought she was talking to one of us. You know, it does sound very familiar. Derek? Yes. Are you surprised to know that it was Christina that felt this way about you? Yeah, I'm caught a little off guard. I mean, I guess I'm flattered. But, you know, there's a pretty strict policy at work. regarding relationships. And I'm also new. I mean, I just started at the beginning of the year. I don't need to be rocking the boat. And... You know, you can't really... I'm a little dismayed that you would do this on the radio. Oh, boy. Let me step in. Please, help Mike. What's going on? Hang on, hang on, hang on. I'm confused, Mike. First of all, the very first thought is my own selfish thought, which is...
It took me a long time to come up with this really great music that we would put on in the background that was going to sound really great. And I'm going, well, that music really, boy, it has a different impact. It's like a kick in the groin. Only they kick the marbles right up into your chest. It just has a different feel to it. Christina, did you know that they had a policy at work that said that you can't do that? I did, yeah. You know, it's rare when you meet somebody that you really feel like this about, and I was willing to just throw a caution to the wind. Christina, quit. No, don't quit. Quit in the name of love. Derek, you sound like a very serious man. I can be very professional. Very professional, I see. Don't say. That's definitely a way of saying that. And so I think that Derek is trying to be very professional here. And so you cannot fault him for wanting to be professional. He doesn't want to have to go to court to defend himself. Exactly. Let me ask you this, Derek. I mean, I don't think that it, hopefully, I don't know if it's against company policy to say that if you were not in this situation where you could get in trouble, that maybe it would be worth something exploring. You're asking a lawyer to answer that question? Ah, yes, I see.
Maybe this would be a better conversation than for you guys to have off the air. I think that's probably the best idea. I see. Wow. I see. This is really awkward. Wow. And really touching. It's a really beautiful moment, isn't it? Touching means I'm coming out of my skin right now. Oh, we had a real good track record up until. No, by touching, I meant... It's so strangely odd and uncomfortable and inappropriate that I almost wish that I were scrubbing in a shower. I want to run. Come on, Derek. You can't say one way or the other if Christina's your type or if you have some sort of thoughts about Christina. A little sexy time? Come on. And Derek, try to remember that I came up with this music because I thought you were going to say you liked her. I'm sorry to throw a monkey wrench into your music plan. Thank you. Thank you. I actually appreciate you saying that. Well, let's use the music anyway. Let's let it swell here as Derek says no to her advances. Policy feels great. That's the oldest line in the book, a.k.a. he's just not that into her. We don't know. We don't know that, actually. She's a beautiful woman. You don't know that. Maybe he's intimidated.
He's intimidated. Christina, he's intimidated. No, he's not. Can't we be nice here, please? Wait, wait, wait. In all honesty, Christina, this is not any reflection on you. He's trying to be professional. And in fact, I bet off the radio, he will probably have some different things to say to you that may be a lot more sensitive and sweet and nice and kind and loving. Are we about to make out right now? No. But it's got to wait until you're off the air because it sounds like there is some policy. That may be preventing him from being able to say what's really on his mind. Does that make sense? Oh, thank you. Oh, Christina. Christina, I think you're great. Derek, I appreciate you coming on the air with us this morning. Thank you. Thank you very much. And Christina, you just got to talk to him. I'm sure that this is something that... Hey, listen. If it's meant to be, it'll happen. Yep. All righty. Okay. Sorry we couldn't help you more. Thank you. We'll see you. I forgot about that whole policy. Should we... Maybe someone on the website that says, hey, listen, if there's a policy at your work that may prevent you from being able to do it, then maybe don't submit. I don't know that it even mattered. I think I'm agreeing with Ashley. It didn't sound like he had any interest in the phone call. Policy, policy. You guys aren't buying the policy thing? No. He wasn't in? He's like, what's going on? Oh, this girl, great. It don't matter about policy.
you will go for it, especially if you've got feelings for her. Okay, so do you think... Well, this went well. Oh, no, it didn't. No, honey, it actually did not go well. That's a little clip of my wife saying, well, this went well, and I don't know, honey, that it did go well. It sounded actually like it went the opposite of well. Well, this went well. No, it didn't. Ah, but the music's great. It really is. I like this. This weekend will be out of control. During the March Mayhem Sale at Fun Bike Center in Kearney Mesa. you yesterday morning. The Padres beat the Giants in spring training action yesterday 9 to 6. We actually have audio of Ashley Simpson on that radio station so you can decide for yourself in a little bit whether or not you think that she sounds like she's intoxicated. Seth, can you go get Christopher Walken and Tom Arnold? I don't know which one of them or if both of them or one of them is standing out in the hallway. Strap yourself in. But go get them because I want to see. Oh, look at this. Hey, buddy. It's Tom. He's very loud. Hey, buddy. He is. Hi, Tom. Very overbearing. Hi, Tom. I'm sorry. I was just saying. I was out in the hallway and listening to the show. Tom, you are very loud talking. You really are. Is that right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's okay. It's okay. It doesn't matter. It's fine. It's hard to control the microphone level. I got it. We got it figured out. You know, my sponsor tells me that. He says that... Wait a minute. Tom, Tom, Tom. Tom, you probably don't want to talk about the sponsor on the air. Well, he always says, you know, I'll help you with whatever you're going through right now, but I just need you to pull the phone away just a little bit so I can hear you.
exactly what the nature of your problems are. I understand. And can I just give a piece of advice to that young lady who was trying to find love on your last set? Because I was out in the hallway. They wouldn't let me in the studio. What was the thing that you wanted to say? You're a bad person to give advice. I'm kind of interested to hear. I've been married several times. That's true. I actually do have a great piece of advice. A lot of people don't think about. This is for the kids out there who are listening. First time you get married. Always do it for money. You do not want to do that. You've been married like four times. If you saw the checks that I get in the mail from Roseanne, you would understand. I don't appreciate your advice. I don't. I'm telling you, it's the first time to get married for money. Every other time you get married, you can get married for love as much as you want. You're ridiculous. That's Tom Arnold. He's in the studio, and he talks very loud, and so we have to turn his microphone. Very twitchy. He is. Also, apparently, we got a lot of phone calls that did come in to 4th and B. I had Chris for walking here. He's back here with me.
And they didn't have anybody answering the foes at 4th and B. They only have somebody answering the foes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. By the way, I know it sounds like I have a cold. And my sponsor tells me that it's going to sound like I'm stuffy. And people are going to question me. Kind of like the Ashley Simpson thing. People are going to say, hey, what's the deal with Tom? We don't want to send this to TMZ. Wait a minute. The A stands for anonymous Tom. Clean that up, though. Okay, well, I'm just saying. You shouldn't, though. You shouldn't say. Yeah, you shouldn't just say. You shouldn't say. Well, I think the eighth step is to clarify. No, it's not to clarify. It's not to clarify. During the regular interviews... Step number eight is to make sure people understand you're not high. I've never actually worked the steps. I could tell. Tom Arnold is in the studio with us right now. He talks very loud. Tom, is every shirt that you own a polo pullover? Because you were wearing a polo pullover yesterday when you came in. It seems like every shirt is a polo.
It's the kind with the three buttons and the collar and the thing. I'm glad you brought up my wardrobe, Mikey, because underneath this polo, I've got a t-shirt. I was thinking, why did Eddie not give me a lot of credit for some of the body of work that I've put out? You didn't harbor it, though. No, but I just realized. I thought, you know what? Eddie's a big comedy fan. Maybe he didn't remember growing up watching me in movies. But maybe you remember this t-shirt. You guys remember the movie Nine Months? How do you have a Nine Months? I got a whole box of them in the garage. If you guys remember Hugh Grant. Yeah, we remember the movie. Worst five minutes of my life. Now this is before Hugh Grant. Wait a minute, he only watched for five minutes? That's a very endearing movie. He only watched five minutes. Go to Amazon.com. I really like the clip you put on your MySpace page. It was great. Yeah. MySpace.com slash Tom Arnold. So we're in town. Yeah. And we're filming a movie here. We heard yesterday. Yeah, you told us. It's a great movie. I've got a really big part in it. You guys are going to love it. Can you pull your polo down? Oh, yeah. Nine months in theaters. Your stomach was showing a little better, too. July 2002. Very hairy. So anyway, so.
But I got Chris here with me. Christopher Walken. I would much rather talk to him. And by the way. By the way, a couple guys coming who are one of the guys who actually is making the movie. Adam Sandler and Tracy Morgan are on the way here right now. Yeah, you said that you were going to bring some friends, and so they're all, I guess, involved in the movie, so they might stop by, too. And there he is, Christopher Walken. Adam and Tracy are on the way here. They should be here in a few minutes. We get it. You're friends with us. Oh, it's Christopher Walken has just joined us. All right, and so here's what we're going to do. Let him use the mic. No, I'm just saying. Hey, if you call 4th and B today, we're all going to 4th and B Saturday night. We're all going to go see Chris. If you just give me for one second. Hold on, Chris. Hold on, Chris. Just hold on for one second. That's Christopher Walken for crying out loud. And I love you. I saw the deer hunter. But here's what I'm saying. Here's what I'm saying. 4th and B. We're all going on Saturday night to 4th and B.
Now, we're going to go see Craig Gass, but we would like, on behalf of all of us... Christopher Walken's just standing there. It's embarrassing. This is embarrassing. It's embarrassing. We'd like Chris to open the show. I think he's a funny guy. You guys heard him? You guys heard him? Please let him talk. Yes, we did hear him. We'd like to hear some more. Go update your Wikipedia page. I'm just saying. Yeah, Wikipedia. I am on Wikipedia. You posted it yourself, Tom. It's not that impressive. You put it on there yourself, Tom. You put your own Wikipedia page on. It's embarrassing. Who does that? It's embarrassing already. Christopher Walken. There he is. I decided to work on my jokes. Oh, that's great. They call them the make-me-ups or what do you call them? Mash-ups? The make-em-ups. That's his way of saying improv. We got it. Tom just grabbed the microphone away from you. It almost hit Walken in the face. Did he need to clarify that? It's not about Tom. It's about me. We know.
It's about Christopher Walken. We're going to the show on Saturday night, and I got some great jokes I think you like. I got a joke. His eyes look so watery. It's so weird how Christopher Walken's eyes. Isn't that weird? It's Tom. Okay, Tom. Let him talk. I got a joke. I just realized it's one of the best jokes I've ever heard. It's a joke that's passed down over generations. Let's hear it. And your great-grandparents actually wanted you. to have these jokes. This one joke in particular. Eddie, I know your great-grandfather wanted you to have this joke. Great-grandfather. He didn't even speak English. He got hurt in the Spanish war and he passed this joke. He was Mexican. Onto your grandfather. What's the joke? The joke. Your grandfather, who fought in Vietnam, said he'd be there. Didn't he tell this story in Pulp Fiction? If he was going to let anyone keep you from hearing this joke. Isn't he just repeating his lines from Pulp Fiction? It sounds like the same exact one. So they wrote down this joke on a piece of paper. Yeah, yeah. And he gave it to a pilot named Wenaki. I held this joke along with a disco ball, two sweat socks, and an Eddie Murphy album, and the only place it would fit. Don't say it!
Do not say that. Don't say the only place. Do not say that. Don't say the only place. Christopher Walken. Don't say Christopher Walken. Amen. Very dark place. Okay. Here's the joke for you. Oh, here we go. It seems that one day the hunchback of Notre Dame died. Uh-huh. And they had no one in the village to be able to ring that great bell on that tower. Yeah. So they put out open auditions for a bell ringer to help ring the bell on the tower. Mm-hmm. Well, the only guy who shows up one day is a guy with no arms. Oh, man. And the friar said, listen, no offense, but you're looking ridiculous. You got no arms. How are you going to ring this bell? And the man said, well, watch me. He goes running all the way up to the top of the tower, smashes his face against the bell. And the bell makes the most beautiful sound they've ever heard. Okay. And when he came back down from his long journey, they said, well, you obviously got the job. And he became the man who rang the bell in his village. Right. Months went on. The most beautiful sounds echoed through the village. Of course. One day, a very stormy night, the armless man went running up to the top of the tower, slipped, fell to his death. Oh, no. Whoa. It wasn't discovered until the next morning when a couple of friars were walking through the village. They saw this man. They said, do you know this guy?
Who is he? He's dead. And second friend said, I don't know, but his face rings a bell. Pow! Pow. That was hilarious. Not bad. Right in the ass. Okay, okay. Yeah. This isn't an R-rated movie. I'm going to kick you right in the nuts. Okay, buddy. That's a great joke. If you like that joke, you call... Eric calls 619-231-43. It was a play pal for me, but I liked it. It almost sounds like fourth and B. Got it. Fourth and B. Yeah, exactly. Christopher Walken is hanging out with us. Man, that is a great joke. Tom was smiling the entire joke. I told you, man. I worked with him on it last night. I thought it was really great. Tom Arnold, you're overselling Christopher Walken's back. That's true. You are. You're overdoing it. I got another joke for you. Go ahead, Mr. Walken. Go ahead. call a boomerang that doesn't work? I don't know. What do you call a boomerang that doesn't work? A stick. Pow! Right in the face. Right in the face, he says. He wants to let you know. Why do gorillas have big nostrils? I don't know, Christopher Walken. Why do gorillas have big nostrils? Because they got big fingers. Pow! That's a great joke. That one didn't even...
I loved it. That is a great joke. I get it. Okay, now, Tom, let me ask you guys a question. I want to ask Tom and Christopher Walken a question. Yeah, go ahead, buddy. Well, we're up against the gun here in terms of having to take a break. So what I want to do is I want to take a quick timeout. Can we come back and keep talking to you? I got a text message from Tracy Morgan. He's outside the building right now. I don't know if Adam's with him right now or not. Well, let me ask you. Can we do this? Can we take a quick timeout? And then when we come back, let's bring them into the studio, too. So it'll be all of you guys. Oh, wow. Christopher Walken. We want Chris to open the show at 4th and B, Saturday Night with Craig Gass. It's going to be a great show. Thank you, Tom. And I'll be there. I'll be hanging out. I'll be in the crowd. If you need me. Nobody cares. We don't need you. Maybe you've got a copy of Soulplay and you want to get autographed. All right, thank you. Mikey Show. Oh, yes! And the director of The Descent is coming. There's no system. Rules. No backup. There's such a thing as hell on earth. That's it. Imagine it this intense. That's just for starters. You think? Violence, language, and some sexual content and nudity. Under 17, not admitted without parent. In theaters Friday, March 14th. B1, Adam. Yes, Mikey. Yeah, what's up, dude? They say you can tell a lot about people just by looking them in the eye. Well, the same is true when it comes to diamonds. This is Tom Shane, and as a direct diamond importer, we go straight to the diamond cutters in Antwerp and Tel Aviv and look at every diamond with our human eye, individually, one at a time, evaluating its color, cut, and clarity. We go to such lengths, while many other jewelers order their diamonds from a computer sight unseen, because ours is the only possible way to select those diamonds with superior sparkle and brilliance.
Also, it allows us to avoid the middleman markups, markups you'll pay at those other jewelers. That's why you always get a finer diamond for a lower price at Shane Company. In the song Can't Touch This by MC Hammer, he says, my, my, my, my music hits me so hard makes me say what? He says, my lord. Let me tell you something. Eddie and Sky know they're hip hop. They're 90s hip hop. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Welcome back. It's a Mikey. We got Tom Arnold and Christopher Walken sitting here in the studio with us right now. He hears his name. Through the whole commercial break there, Tom was talking to us about...
Fourth and B, and being at Fourth and B the whole time, that's all he did. He's best friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger. You know what? I know you guys are kind of making fun of me right now. We're not. But that thing you just played with MC Hammer, I know that guy. Hammer is a good friend of mine. If you ever want him on the show, I can help you get him on. MC Hammer, you know the guy. I know him. you know him. We go golfing together. I don't believe that you do. I don't know why I don't believe that they do. Eddie, do you believe that Tom Arnold... Not even a little bit. I don't believe it. Well, you know, I'll tell you a true story about that fact. I was golfing with him a couple months ago and I was telling Hammer, Hammer, you ever thought about getting in a program? And he said, well, I've never done any drugs. And I said, well... You don't just invite people. Well, it's kind of a, you know, the program's a lot of people there. You get to meet people. That's not how it works. If you're not working, it's a great way to hang out with people. That is not what it is about. You're not supposed to talk about it, Tom. Amber said, you know, I've never even done any drugs. I said, but you're not hearing what I'm saying, Amber. And part of what you're going through right now is something we call denial. No. Not when the person doesn't do anything. You know what I mean?
Listen, it's as I understand it. No, no, no. You're not supposed to talk about any of that stuff. Yeah, that is a dumb thing. Why do you hang out with this guy? Yeah, Christopher Walken, I'm working with Tom, moving. This is just a way it worked out by circumstance. Oh, it did. Christopher Walken, another observation I make. licks his lips a lot. I didn't know that until I met him here in person, but Christopher Walken is in the studio with... It's like he's got cock mouth, right? I'm just saying. It's like he's got cock mouth. Not everyone is an addict. Not everybody is an addict. Absolutely. It could be. It's not, though. It's not. One of those things that creeps up on you and you think, I don't have a problem. Yeah. Marijuana is much more subtle. No. Now you're saying that he does marijuana. What do you mean? Now you're saying... You don't have to say that. He does. Thank you. Tom, you're out of control. Yeah. That's Christopher Walken, who came in yesterday and wanted to try out some of his new material. And even today, he was trying a very long joke. He told us about a 20-minute long joke. And at the end of it, it was really good. The punchline was, I don't know, but his face rings a bell. How? That's a great joke. How? And he said right in the A. That's what he said after he told that. No, no, I'm just saying what he said after the joke was on. I got a short joke for you.
All right, let's hear it. How do you break a Polak's finger? I don't know. Well, I don't know that I can really... How do you do that to that man's finger? You punch him in the nose. Pow! Because he'd be picking his nose. I'm one-tenth Polish and one-tenth... You're not. You're not. Why are you? One-tenth Polish, really? Because he's one-tenth Polish. Oh, he can say it. Right, right. Your pot cantaloupe. How is it that I'm part cantaloupe? What does that even mean? Is that a bald joke? I think he's actually, what he's doing now is he's just... True romance, it's your part eggplant. Yeah, and I told him, I said, you know, if they... He changes it up for each race. If they let you on stage at 4th and B on Saturday night, that you should make sure and do some of your movie lines and mix it in with...
Thank you. I think we have other guests here. There's people standing out in the hallway. Tracy Morgan, Adam Sandler are right here, Mikey. Zeth, get Tracy Morgan. I'm surprised. I really didn't think Tom Arnold knew these two guys. I'm actually surprised. Look at this. Hey, it's Tracy Morgan. Look at this guy. Tracy, how are you? It's Tracy Morgan. What's up, sexy? Not too much. How are you? How are you doing? I'm talking to her. Hi, Tracy. Tracy is very high. He's very sexual. Thank you, Tom. How are you doing, Mikey? I'm doing good, man. How have you been? I'm working on a movie. I'm working on a movie. What are you doing? Explain to the audience what you're up to. Let me do another movie. Last movie, I played a tranny. That's nice. I played a tranny. I played a tranny. I get to be in a movie called The Great Hoax of San Diego. Oh, wow. That sounds really interesting. Great Hoax of San Diego. What's it about?
I can't tell you any details about it, Mikey. You know that. Okay, well. But the strike is over. The writer's strike is over. I'm so happy. I love you on 30 Rock, so I'm excited to see that. Up and running, baby. Nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You a big fan? Yeah, I watch every week. I want to get you pregnant. Okay. That's very inappropriate. A little forward. You're right there. It's a little strange when a man just says to a woman. I want to get you pregnant. That's weird. That's weird. Tracy has a very special relationship with his fans. Mikey. Mikey. That's how you tell a girl you love her. I didn't even know that. That's how you tell a girl you love her. Okay. Yeah, I mean, we just met. Yeah, you know what you mean? We just don't really know each other. It's Sky. Hi, Sky. It's kind of forward. Hi, Tracy. Why are you blushing right now? It's a little embarrassing. She's bright red. It's a little embarrassing. It's like her hair. wants to impregnate you. Yeah. I like your face. Well, thank you. You have a nice face too. Tracy, it's very nice of you to say. I'm going to get you pregnant. I want you to have my baby. Then stop calling me. Thank you. Tracy is wearing an Adidas jogging suit. That's cool. That's right.
Track suit. Like a track suit. Yeah, it's a track suit. It looks great. You look handsome and I like your jewelry too. It looks really good. Trace was telling me he's a big fan of the movie So Plain. He saw the movie So Plain. Yeah, yeah. Did you, Trace, did you see? I like So Plain. Tom Arnold, he's crazy white dude. Never shuts up. Everybody's a drug addict. Everybody's a drug addict. I like Tom. You kind of are. He takes his problems and he puts it on other people. No, no, no, no. That's how Tom works. Hey, Trace, You can relate to some of this because you were actually pulled over. Twice! Yeah, D-U-I. One in L.A. and one in New York. No, no, no. You don't want to give a shout out to it. Are you still wearing that ankle bracelet thing that detects? I put a bedazzler on it. I put a bedazz, see this? That's smart. Well, it's pretty. Yeah, you think it's sexy, don't you? No, wait a minute. I like your freckles.
I'm going to be at Falls NB on Saturday night. You want to buy tickets? Don't buy tickets at the box office. I'll be in a white van around the corner. I'll sell you tickets for half price. You're going to go see Craig Gass on Saturday night? My man Christopher Walken trying to open the show? We don't know if we're going to get him on stage or not. But you want to get discount tickets and buy some weed? No, no, no. White vans around the corner on fourth MC. Fourth MC. White vans. even started coming in yet because of the writer's strike, so I gotta sell some weed to help supplement my income. He's just joking. Hey, you know what's really great? Fourth and seat. I'm looking out in the hallway, and out in the hallway, I see Adam Sandler standing out in the hallway. And he's shaking his head. I think he's very upset that Tracy's saying his thing. Yeah, can you go get... He's a guy, he's dressed like he was in that 80s movie. Can I sit on your chair, Sky? We have plenty of...
That's my man, Adam Sandler, gave me a job. Are you guys actually pretty good friends? No. Tracy's a good dude. I like him. I like all these guys. They said, hey, why don't we come down and... do some radio. We're going to try to get Chris to open the comedy show on Saturday. Right, right. And, uh, I go, uh, I go, what do you mean, open the show? And Tom's like, oh, we're going to do this whole thing where we're going to get, uh, and, uh, we're going to get, uh, we're going to get Chris to open the show. And I go, does he got any jokes? Or, uh, what is he doing? And he goes, oh, he's got all these great jokes. And, uh,
And I go, well, Chris, let's hear him. And he goes, hey, what kind of a bee makes milk? I go, what? He goes, what kind of a bee makes milk? I go, I don't know. He goes, a booby. He said that yesterday. And it's kind of corny. Robert told us that one yesterday. But as long as you have some good writing, that's all you need. I told him, all you need is good writing. You just pulled the microphone away from Adam Sandler. Why don't we get right to the chase? Call the number eight. I'll get you pregnant right now. Call the number eight. I want to impregnate the San Diego Chargers. I don't understand what's going on this whole time that they're talking. I look over at Christopher Walken. For the last 15 minutes, he's been taking sand out of his eye with his index finger. There's nothing there, Mr. Walken. You keep trying to do that. I went to the beach yesterday. I like his style. Look how big his hair is. He's like four feet tall. He gives him some extra lip. He has very tall hair. He's dressed in a three-piece suit. Look at this. Adam Sandler's in here. Dressed like he was in The Wedding Singer, which I don't really understand why.
We're doing something. All right. I'm doing a shoot later today. And I'm doing something here. Not too far from here. And it requires that I put on this funny suit. But I came down to lend my support to my buddy. That's great. Well, he laughs. He just thinks it's funny. I'm very ticklish. So we have Tracy Morgan, Adam Sandler. Tom Arnold. TomArnold.com slash TomArnold. Go to Wikipedia. Ask your parents. This is before Charlie Chan and the black guy. Start that again. Why does Tom Arnold twitch like that? It's a nervous tick, Mike. And you didn't have to point that out. It's just that you're smiling constantly.
Constantly. Constantly smiling. It's like he's possessed by the devil, right? Yeah, it's like something's going on. He's got this smile and he's twitching all the time. Tom Arnold and George Clinton, two guys I don't like being in a room with. Why? Twitchy. Crazy twitchy. Yeah, I mean, if Tracy doesn't like being in a room with somebody. Bobby Brown, same way, except he twitchy and sweaty. Twitchy and sweaty. It's a nervous tick and, you know. Not that you are. Well, 12th Step basically acknowledges that you're not supposed to talk about that. 12th Step has to do with twitchiness. No, no, no. He's actually right. First of all, shut up. Wait, Adam Sandler wants to say something. I just want to say thank you to everybody in San Diego for you guys. Last week we've been working on here. It's been real nice. I'm a huge fan, Adam. Thank you. Thank you, Ashley. Ashley, she's a really big fan. Thank you, Ashley. Sing a little song for you. Please sing us a song. Ashley, tell me, what's your favorite color? Green. Green, all right. And Ashley...
What's your, more than anything else, what's your favorite thing above anything else? What's your favorite thing of all time? Mad lips. I like to dance. You like to dance. There you go. Writing is down. And here we go. A little acapella? Got a little song here. This is Adam's improv skills. Going to work right now. He gave me a job, and I'm not kissing his ass because I already got the job. I'm already working on this movie, and we're all going to hang out together this weekend. Mr. Sandler, go ahead. Sing the song, please. All right, shut up, Tom. All right, here we go. I like Ashley. Yes, I do. I like Ashley. How about you? Ashley is sweet. She likes to dance. She has some sand in her pants. What? I can't find anything that runs green. You know what? I'll work on a song and I'll come back. Oh, she's mean. Oh, she's mean.
I want to thank all of you guys for coming in. First of all, it's an honor to have all of you. Good luck with the movie. Let's go down the list. Thank you. First of all, Mr. Sandler, Adam Sandler, thank you for coming in. I don't know if we're going to... I don't know if they're serious about this whole thing with Chris at 4th and B, but I'll be there. I'll go to see Craig Gass. Everybody go see Craig Gass. Craig Gass will be there Saturday night. I'll be there. And then thank you also Tracy Morgan. And Tom Arnold. And Tom Arnold. Nobody cares about you, Tom. Shut up. Thank you for coming, Tracy. Scott, you see this? 310. That's my phone number. Mr. Walken, there's no sand in your eye. You keep wiping your eye. There's nothing a matter with your eye, Mr. Walken. I just want to say, Tom Arnold, your mom is so fat. She had to go get baptized at SeaWorld. Thank you, Tom Arnold, for coming into the studio. Tom Arnold, your mom is so fat. She's on both sides of the family. If you like those jokes, you call 23143.
Or three? No pal? Hey, uh, can I just say something real quick? Thank you, Mr. I'm going to be at the Starbucks downtown. That's the ultimate hang zone. All right. I'm a mother. Completely part. Now, here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. We got he won Giants fan. Wait till you hear what his uncle did. Well, we caught him. My grandma was going on vacation. She'd come back and all of her stuff would kind of be, you know, in her bedroom, be all kind of out of place and everything. And so we found out that my uncle was going into her bedroom when she was on vacation. We're supposed to be watching the house, you know, feeding the animals and stuff like that.
And he was trying on her underwear. No! Oh, my gosh, dude. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. It's the Mikey Show at 9.06. Last night on American Idol, there was no mention of the news that contested David Hernandez used to be a stripper. Brett Favre stunned the NFL and retired yesterday. Welcome back. So we've been telling you about this Ashley Simpson audio. Yes. Now, unfortunately, we're getting to this a little late. I wish I had mentioned this earlier because I wanted to hear this. Ashley Simpson was on WIHT in Washington, D.C. yesterday. Ah, the hit. That's right. It's, yeah, it is The Kane Show. Ah, so good. Well, it's weird because I've always, you know, sometimes you hear of people, but I've never heard of The Kane Show. You've never heard of The Kane Show? I have not. You don't get it, man.
But he had Ashley Simpson in the studio. And you got to decide, is she under the influence or is she just ditzy? Cut 26. If you were to pick one of the two, you want me to do it out of my head right now? Because I have 8 million people that want to hear new Ashley Simpson. No one. Hear Little Miss Obsessive. You want to hear Little Miss Obsessive then? Yeah. Set this up for everybody. All right. We've got guest vocals from Tom from the Plain White Tees. Yeah. And it says, I mean, the best line in the song is, you know, the come over line. You're like, I'm desperate. I'm not desperate. It's pretty genius. It's like. i'm i'm not over it so come over yeah it's pretty genius it's like the the girl kind of thing like i'm not over it but come over kind of a thing yeah that's pretty obvious wow yeah there's not there's certainly not a question there uh now this is what i'm wondering are all the people messed like wasted too like the handlers because like if i'm a handler i go we can't
Yeah, well, I don't know. I know that she was like showing off a new tattoo that I guess she had gotten the night before. So I don't know if she was out all night or what that was. That's my guess. Oh, no, no, no, no. I get that she sounds that way. She may have been partying the night before. What I'm wondering is, I thought you're supposed to like have... People that sort of watch over the... So why did they not cancel the interview? I would have taken one listen to her and been like, she can't go on the radio. Here's more of Ashley Simpson, cut 27. When did you change it from blonde to black? Second record. Second record? It's like a timeline of Ashley Simpson. Is this a real tattoo? Yes. Really? No, I just got it right now. No, you're lying. I got it last night. Let me see it. Hold it up. That's badass. It's a rose. That looks painful. Yeah, it's a peony, the flower. A peony. Yeah, it's a traditional Asian flower. Oh, it looks like it hurt. No, it was good. It was fine. It was fine. And then I still have the star in there. Oh, boy. Where did you get the tattoo done at?
Was it here in town? Yeah, it was here in town. So you've been in town since last night. Did you go out last night and you get a little tat going on? No, I didn't go out. I was in my hotel. I said, can you? Oh, yeah, it's a good friend. Just being all secretive about it like it's a top secret tattoo. Ew. Well, go for it, Cain. Go for it. It's okay. I mean, it's obvious at that point. Come on, there's no hiding it. How can you not address it? You could say. Did you have a couple drinks last night? I can't tell, though, because I don't know. I'm really good at nailing impaired. I'm not good at nailing what? So maybe she's still drunk from the night before, but I can't tell what's going on. I'm not good at that. I'm drunk. Well, right after that appearance, her rep immediately issued a statement. Saying... Saying, quote, Ashley was absolutely not intoxicated this morning on Hot 99.5. She's been working extremely hard traveling across the country to promote her upcoming new album by performing at night and waking up very early the next day to do radio interviews in the morning. Like any of us would be, she was simply just tired. That is the dumbest ever. So funny. It's funny. What happens is that there comes a point where...
If your job is to help or save someone's image, if that's your job, if that's what you have been charged to do, there comes a point where it's actually better for the image to say what really happened than to make the thing up. In this situation, you make it so much worse. Now the story is how stupid the comment that she was okay is. That's what happens. Right. I mean, because I think we would all respect if her rep was like, you know what? She's over 21 years old. She had a night off of work and was enjoying the night with her friends and unfortunately had to get up a little too early. She obviously wasn't performing. She was getting tattoos. Right. What are you talking about? Dude, let me tell you something. If they said that, I think you kind of forget about it. Yeah, it's like a non-story. But because it happened this way and what they said and the whole thing now, Now the story is like, what's up with Ashley Simpson? If she had said what Sky just said, nobody's asking what's up with Ashley Simpson. We know. It was a late night. She's 21. She was out partying. She had to get up early. Now everybody's like, there must be a problem because otherwise they wouldn't be lying about it. She's trying to hide it. Maybe she's trying to hide it. Exactly. P1 down spell. Yeah, what happened to, why is everybody making excuses for her? What happened to just being a...
an airhead. Being born that way, you know? So you heard... Wait, wait, wait. So you heard that clip and you thought you were just hearing an airhead? Yeah. Let's listen to it. Wait, wait, wait. Let's listen to it. Every time I've ever heard her before, she doesn't sound any different than that. Okay, let's do this. I want to keep you on the phone and I'm going to play the clip again, okay? And as we listen back to the clip, keep in mind that all you're hearing is an airhead. Okay. Cut 26. If you were to pick one of the two, you want me to do it out of my head right now? Because I have 8 million people that want to hear new Ashley Simpson. Hear the new one. It's like,
I'm not over it, so come over. Yeah. It's pretty genius. It's like the girl kind of thing. Like, I'm not over it, but come over kind of a thing. She's wasted. Oh, wow. Okay, well, that's that. Thank you very much, P1 Downsville. Oh, man. Yeah, something's up. There's a little slurring going on. A little bit. But that, like, Skye, you need to be a publicist, man, because what you said, it's like, it's over. Like you say that, it's done. Everyone can relate to that. We've all, you know, turned 21. Well, most of us and, you know, had a drink or whatever. It's not that big of a deal. You're wasted right now. Well, yeah, and I'm good. She's over 21. She was having a party. She had a late night. That's right. It was a late night and she had to get up early. Sometimes I'm mispronouncing. That's right. Sometimes. Oh, yeah, just when I'm sloshed. There's a couple of pieces of audio that I really want to hear. One of them is from American Idol last night. Speaking of wasted. Well, yeah, this guy did Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. Oh, dude. Wait a second. Now, you guys, before you're so critical. The worst. Before you're so critical. Don't do this. Wait, now, wait. Sean, did you hear it? Yes. Hang on. Hang on. I want you guys to give Luke Menard the benefit of the... No. The benefit of the... No. But we heard it. Okay, I understand.
I'm just saying, let's listen with an open mind. Cut one. My mind's closed. Even George Michael thinks he's gay. He was napping. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Wake me up before you go. Are you sure? Holy moly. What did you guys think of the dude that did the different version, like the pumped up version of Hello by Lionel Richie? So good. Loved it. So good. As Simon said, I loved it. I loved it. Cut 11. That was awesome. And he was playing the guitar too. It was super good.
Dude, that sounded rad. I can't believe that a rock band hasn't tried that out yet. That's exactly what the judges said. It could be a hit right now. Totally. Dude, I could almost kind of hear a Stained maybe or a band like that doing that. Because they do that anyway. That sounded pretty cool. Yeah, it was cool. Let's see. Yesterday on the Tyra Banks show, Janet Jackson... was the guest, and here she is talking about her mother pressuring her to have kids. Cut 36. I hear your family's very frustrated because you haven't given them a little Janet. Where are you doing this stuff? Oh, frustrated. Mother's had a couple of conversations. Yeah? Yeah. What is she saying? Come on, give it to me. Any kind of way... Baby, you're getting older now, so do you think you might want to have a couple of children instead of just your dogs? No. So I'll have kids someday. What about the egg freezing thing? You think about that? My doctor thinks about that. Believe you me, he reminds me all the time. That she needs to freeze them eggs. Yeah, yeah. So I don't know. It'll happen. Whoa. Dang, a little personal, Tyra. Hello? Whoa, what's going on? Is there something wrong with our phone system? Hello? Oh, hello? There you are. You on a cell phone?
Hi, guys. It's Michael Jackson. Hi, Michael Jackson. Are you okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm listening to those clips and getting kind of irritated. But it's your sister. Again? It's just give me a break with all the whining and everything. Well, I mean, I don't know that she was whining. Yeah, Tyra asked her. You know, the deal is that I froze my eggs, too. You don't have eggs. You don't have eggs, Michael. I eat mine. And Janet's in a wonderful omelet. I put them both together and I make an omelet. No, that's disgusting. That is really gross. I think you're confused. And then I add in bacon and cheese and Emmanuel Lewis in the omelet. Michael. That's weird. You know, I had my eggs frozen two years before Janet did. Yeah, you don't have eggs like Janet does. Well, I actually froze the eating kind and I called them egg pop-ups. It's the only way to suck eggs. What are you saying? So strange. I'm just kidding, you guys. Okay. I actually was calling because I wanted to respond to the egg thing because... See, the deal is that she gave me her eggs in my Easter basket last year and I accidentally scrambled them. I don't think it's the same kind of eggs.
Michael, he doesn't know a lot about this kind of stuff. This is Michael Jackson. Yeah. A little naive. Do you guys have any more clips of my sister? Yeah, actually we do. I think so. Do you want to hear some more? Yeah, why don't you play, let's see, this is her talking about, she doesn't listen to her own music, cut 37. You don't listen to your own music? No. Once I record it and put an album together, I'll listen to it a few times. And that's it until I have to go on tour. Then I have to put the set list together. So I'll listen to all the albums and I'll think, God, I did that? How do you remember the darn lyrics if you don't listen to it over and over again? I sometimes forget. I do. I said, let's wait a while. It's really wait for me. That's the song. And I'll them, them, them, them. And you don't know. Say sing. Oh, my God. I'll help you. There's something I've got to tell. Actually, Janet, I'll explain some things to you guys. Okay. See, Janet doesn't listen to her music because of the medical concerns. What kind of medical concerns? See, I told her what happened to me. What happened to you? When I used to listen to Thriller, my nose fell off and I turned white. No. That is scary. That is scary.
Nobody wants that. It's tough. You guys, I don't listen to Janet's music either. You don't? Why not? She's your sister. All I listen to is CCR and a little... CCR? This is what I listen to. Okay. I listen to CCR and a little bit of Pink. Well, you know, most people like Pink. What? Yes, Pink Panther. What? Okay. He rocks my world. Michael Jackson. Stop that. Okay. You don't. Yeah. My father doesn't make. Yeah, I got a question for you. Go ahead. Well, you know, your sister's album is number one right now, and you put out an album a couple weeks ago. Is there some... Well, remember the 25th anniversary of Thriller, and they redid some of those. Oh, that's right. So is that... Do you have a competition, or are you happy for your sister that she's doing so well? There's never a competition, although when we were little, there used to be a competition of who could be hit more by my dad, Joe.
I love to listen to my own music, especially my song, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. And they also sang my other song, and I don't know if you guys have heard. What's that? It's my other song. It's called Sit On You. You did not make that song up. That is too good of a song. Yeah, it's called Sit On You. I've heard it. What are you going to do? What are you going to do? I sit on you! It's weird. What do you guys think? Well, I like the original better. I didn't like the rocked out arrangement that they did of that supposed to be tender hello. Lionel Richie? I didn't like it. Why not? Oh, my God. I thought it was gay. No, you shouldn't say that. It's true, though. Well, you're not. Wow. Can we listen to any more clips? Yeah, I think we got one more. Why don't you guys play it? Okay. Let's see the one of Tyra asking Janet how long she's ever gone.
Ashley, listen to this. How long Janet's ever gone without taking a shower? Cut 39. So who calls you booty? What's the longest you've gone without a shower? I think a day. You've only skipped one day, Janet? No, honestly, a day? I don't like that feeling. Do bird baths count? This is like a... My mother's always said if you do skip a shower or something... You give yourself a bird bath. Your mom calls it a bird bath? It's like a bird bath. My mom calls it a whore bath. A what? A whore bath. A whore bath. My mom calls it a whore bath because she says, clean whores clean themselves between customers. So, yeah, she calls it a whore bath. I mean, she didn't call that to me until I was like 30 years old, but she's like, at least do a whore bath today, Tyra. You stink. Yeah, I'll do a whore bath. You'll do a whore bath.
And how many days in a row do you do a whore bath? Oh, no, no, no. I still... Just one day. That's my one day. Do you see what a whore she is? Michael! I hope you're talking about Tyra. Michael, that's it. She takes a chinchilla bath like with dust. What? No. Do you know what I mean? She didn't say that. You guys know what I'm talking about? No, not at all. I can't believe that Janet told her about our bird baths. Oh, really? You take those too? Yeah, and then we also feed each other like birds. That's disgusting. That's so creepy. Hang on. Who's the mama and who's the baby? Hang on. I'm feeding my kids right now. What are you doing? What are you doing? That is awful. What? Be serious. Oh, we're trying. Michael's awful. I am so against shouting. You are so crazy. You're just shouting? Showering. Oh, showering. Oh, what? Clean your ears, man. Okay, well, I take a horse bath. No, seriously, this is Michael Jackson. We know. Yeah, I know. One time I showered in the 90s and my chin got smaller. And my cheeks got really angular. Oh, again. Yeah. Plastic surgery. My whole face changed. Yeah. One time. That was scary. No, I always showered myself with presents. Yeah.
Good one, Michael. Child stars, elephant man bones, monkeys. Those are your presents. Yes, these are all things. Child stars. I shower myself. Okay. I think that's illegal, but all right. Jesus juice. Hey, can you get off the phone? I have to go. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Sure, I'm glad he had to go. That was really dumb. So gross. So stupid. How weird. Michael Jackson calls in. So weird. Holy moly. Let's see. Maybe we should take a quick time out. I think we do. We should probably take a quick time out. We need to hold back after that. When we come back, Katie Holmes apparently really upset Victoria Beckham with some comments. They're friends. I don't know about that. But then when I started talking to them, I realized these guys have been doing this a long time. Every one of those guys and the manager that was in there. Called all of them over. and about an hour no time makes it getting into the U.S. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I really do think of the hurricanes as sort of celebrities. Eddie. I have a very strong sensitivity to smells. Skye. I don't like stinky cheeses. Sean. Pet Shop Boys are one of my favorite groups. Boston Rob. I was like a shaken puppy. Like I... That's a very common terminology. You guys don't use that? Maybe it's an East Coast thing. And Ashley. I'm always dehydrated. The mic show's on. Rock 105.3. It is 9.34. It was a good night for Hillary Clinton with her taking three of the four primaries last night. Patriots were in desperate needless of defensive backfield help. They signed Jason Webster from the Buffalo Bills. This ought to be good. Bunch of seven and eight-year-olds being asked on Good Morning America about the presidential candidates. See what they said. Cut 42. Shawnee, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Sorry. It's not playing. It's from Good Morning America. Who are the candidates? Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain. What about Huckabee? Huckabee and Ron Paul. What about them? Why aren't you naming them? Are they still in there? Yes, they're still in there. Oh, yeah.
And there's like another thing. There's like a guy named something Nader. I think he's either running for the Green Party or the Independent. Dude, how old did you say those two were? Seven and eight year olds. Those kids are smarter than me. Yeah, they are. That's crazy, man. Wow. Oh, dude, when I was seven and eight years old, I did not know. Anything. See, that's different. For me, I think I knew more when I was seven or eight year old than I know now. It could be a generational thing. In other words, young kids over the past 10 or whatever years are just more aware of what's going on in the world than we were when we were kids. Because when I was a kid, I didn't know anything. You know what I bet it is? Same thing maybe when Ashley was younger. What? But there was none. Was there internet when you were a kid, Ash?
Did you have an internet? I think we got our first computer when I was like 10. Really? Were you on it? Yeah. You did? Yeah. What is it? Why are kids so smart now? I don't get it. Maybe it's that parents are talking to kids about stuff? It's more, you know, there's more ways to discover. Like you said, the internet, there's so much TV. I mean, every time you log on to the computer, you'll probably find something. I mean, I don't know. Let's see. This is... Now, you know that the race with the Republicans has been kind of John McCain for a while. But in the Democrats, it's been a close race between Hillary and Barack. So they asked these 7- and 8-year-olds who they think will be the nominee for the Democrats. Cut 43. Who do we think is going to be the Democratic nominee? That is the hot race. Actually, Obama's winning. But I think... will be maybe Hillary, but it's more Obama right at the stage. But I think it maybe could change. Are they kidding? It's kind of historical, both of the two, because if Barack Obama was our final president, he'd be the first black person to be our president. And if Hillary was, she'd be our first female president. And so I wouldn't mind either of the two being our final presidents. That's weird. What the heck? I'm confused. It's really like your brain can't...
what you're hearing. It's like one of those movie scripts where they have kids play adults, you know? That's exactly what it sounds like. That is a trip, man. Oh, I would love for my kid to be that bright. I would love to be that bright. Well, that's what I meant. That's what I meant. He was talking about you, dude. Yeah, I was talking about you and Seth and Ashley. This is Steve Carell joking on the Today Show about his looks compared to Clooney. Cut 35. Esquire named you the best-looking guy at the Oscars over that George Clooney, that schlub. He did not get first place. You did. George Clooney is a hack. He's a hack. And it's all makeup. And it's mirrors, too. And they spackle it on. Yes. And there's my lovely wife. Yeah, and she's lovely. No, I agree. I'm much better looking than George Clooney. That's pretty awesome. I love Steve Carell. That's great. He's funny. Are you guys watching Dancing with the Stars or has it not started? It hasn't started yet. When does it start? Soon? I think next week. So you guys know that a lot of the people that are going to be on it, right? Yeah. Do you know who Julianne Ho is? Julianne Hoff. She's the professional that's won. She's the dancer. She's won the last two. She's the real pretty young blonde girl. She dates everybody and she flirted. Remember that one? She likes to date and fart.
Here she is talking about posing for Shape Magazine. Cut 32. Just because, you know, my beliefs and, you know, I think that leaving a little bit of mystery is sometimes good. Modest is the hottest. I think that's like the Mormon thing. But no, for this, you know, this is fitness. It's not like I'm doing something that's provocative. You know, this is showing that I do work out and, you know, fitness. My dad's not here. You know, I talked to him about this and he's like, well, I'll let you make that decision. But, you know, I'm just, you know, you don't want to be in a bikini in front of your dad ever. Well, modest is the hottest, she says. That's what I heard. We're expecting a very cool phone call to be coming through here any second. Her dancing partner is Adam Carolla. Oh, well, she's not going to win three in a row. Oh, no. Cat 34. No, I don't feel any pressure. No, we're coming in number one. We will hoist the coveted basketball that's got glitter tape on it at the end of this show. Mark my words.
But Adam has put a nix on Julianne's notoriously skimpy outfits. We're going mechanics jumpsuits zipped up to here, gloves, and Ugg boots. I don't want any skin showing. It's not a beauty contest. This is a dance competition. Oh, you think of that. It's going to be great. Vanka Trump. Is that the younger Trump? Oh, yeah. Yep. Really? She's very pretty. Awesome. Very pretty. She's very smart. Yeah. Hey, God. Yeah. She is very, very bright. Yeah. You guys, I mean, you're saying... I love her brain. She's very smart. You guys agree with that, right? She's very intelligent and articulate. Here she was on Live with Regis and Kelly. Cut 41. What kind of a man would you be interested in? What is it going to take to land Ivanka your Trump? Wow. I like men who are extremely hardworking. I like men who are...
actually tend to like men a bit on the dorky side. Dorky side? Yeah, smart. Well look around here. Joy would kill us. Now let's be talking about me. Check out Gilman. He's not that hard of working. So you want a hard working guy, a little on the dorky side, that doesn't bother you. I think because I've sort of grown up in the context, I've always been surrounded by sort of very powerful and motivated and driven men. That's sort of what I'm I'm drawn to, you know, even within my family, my brothers, every man in my life is like that. I don't know the deal with young women and that voice. Yeah, it's quite a phenomenon these days. Fun living. Yeah, maybe that is it, but it's almost like that's the trend. I like it. The Lindsay Lohan. You know, even Siley Myris has to have that very, you know. They've all got that. They've all got that very smoky. Scarlet Johansson. What I do is I get a pack of camels and I rip off the filter. Yes. There's no need for it. No need for it. Three at a time. Yes. So often when I'm speaking to you, you'll hear me going. So yesterday, Craig Gass was up in L.A. at the press conference for Rocklahoma. Oh, awesome. 2008. Rock in. What is it?
I guess it's like 80s bands or something. Yeah. I think so. Some hair band reunion. Sounds cool. Concert. Here is Brett. Okay. Brett Michaels and his solo band. What? This ain't no poison effort, dude. Come on. Cut 45. My solo show is a big, pyro-energized storyteller. I get to tell the fans about what I was thinking, why I wrote it. Why did I keep the energy up? Big explosions, big excitement. Lots of girls. I wear a wig. Why wear this thing on my head? Bret Michaels talks about his experience at the 07 Rock, LaHoma. Wait a minute. Before we do this, I thought we had him. We don't have them yet. We're going to be getting a very cool phone call here any second. Cut 46. Rocklahoma is an awesome event. And we had such an amazing time last year. Great summer parties. And here's what was killer about it. I ripped my face off. Lots of 40-year-old strippers everywhere. So hot. Having an awesome time and a party. That's what this event is about. It's about the celebration of music. And midgets.
Celebration of two things, music and midgets. And older men wearing makeup. All three of those things. Music midgets. I hooked up with a chick with one leg. So four things. It was hot. All right. Oh, there it is. There it is. We have a very special guest on the phone, Major Brian Dennis. Now, this is going to be great. And the reason I'm telling you it's going to be great is yesterday, everybody was shocked to hear the story of the Marine that threw the puppy over the... Right. And a lot of people were shocked to hear it, and it was a little bit of a black eye for the military because of that happening. This story is the exact opposite. Plead opposite. And it will lift your spirits, and it'll make your heart happy.
I guess it's something they do to dogs out here sometimes to try and make them tougher or something. Well, one night we were out there. We were up in the northern area where we normally see him, and this was back in December. He was in real bad shape.
Someone had actually stabbed him with a screwdriver. What? Yeah, he was in real bad shape. We actually thought he was going to die that night because it got so cold. It got down to about 18 degrees. He was in pretty bad shape, so all we could do is just kind of dress his wound up a little bit and try to keep him warm. I figured when I woke up for a watch, he'd probably be dead. But somehow he made it through the night, and the next morning... He looked a little bit better, but we had to go. We had a mission and we had to leave. And two days later, down at our combat outpost about 70 miles or so away, he just showed up while we were working on the Hummers. So it was the craziest damn thing. Wow. That is unbelievable. So is it maybe because of your rank that you were able to make it so that the dog could come home? back to the states how did that happen uh you know i don't think it's uh due to my rank you know it's not like majors can pull that many strings out here you just uh a lot of people were interested in it i i made some connections through some local iraqis and uh basically i just worked it i mean i talked to a lot of people i worked it i had i had a lot of help let's put it that way i had a lot of help and it was very difficult to do a lot of red tape but uh
It ended up working out. We're talking to Major Brian Dennis. He's been in the news a lot lately because he saved a dog out in Iraq where he is right now talking to us on a satellite phone. He saved a dog. The dog has been flown back here to San Diego. Major, when will you be back? I'll be back sometime around the last week of the month here. Oh, nice. And when you come back, how long will you be back? I'm normally an F-18 pilot out of Miramar. I'll probably go back to, hopefully go back to my old job flying there. And I should be around for a couple years at least. And when you get back, this dog, Nubs, is waiting for you. Is that correct? Yeah, yeah. I got some great friends. A lot of great friends out there. Chrissy and Eric are watching Nubs right now. My friends, Tracy, Chris, all these, so many people have pitched in and helped. It's made it possible. Right now, Chrissy and Eric are taking care of Nubs.
Well, listen, I remember you had written me an email, and you had told me that you really wanted to, if we were interested in the story, that you really wanted to come on the Mikey Show first and kind of give us the exclusiveness on it, and I really do appreciate that. So with that in mind, and with that being said, I wonder if you might be open to an idea. Okay. What would you think? about your friends arranging it where you guys get to be reunited here on the air on the Mikey show. Where maybe they could bring Nubs into the studio and you could come in here and walk in the studio and when you come in here, you and Nubs get to see each other for the first time. Oh, that would just be a tearjerker. Oh, dude, I'm telling you, just thinking about it for me. Just thinking about it for me sounds amazing.
I'm a little missy. I love it. I'm telling you, man, I think it could be really, really cool. I think it sounds kind of cool.
Oh, sweet. Very cool. Major Dennis, are you there? Yeah, I'm back here. Can you hear me? Yeah, we can hear you. We got a connection. We're not going to keep you much longer. I was just going to ask you. When you get back, there's lots of things you're going to want to do. Lots of people you're going to want to give hugs to. Lots of people you're going to want to see, catch up, all that kind of stuff. But I'm curious.
What is it that you can't wait to eat once you get back stateside? Oh, that's easy. About the last three months, I've been fantasizing about a carne asada burrito. There you go, man. I bet. More often than not, you hear that from guys that leave the area, period. Well, listen, you stay safe, and we can't wait to see you when you get back, and hopefully we can get that thing together where we'll arrange for you guys to reunite. I think everybody would love to take part in that, and And we'll just, I'll be praying for you, man. And God bless you and everything that you're doing out there for us. And we appreciate what you did for Nubs, too. Maybe he'll let. The two of them reunite right here on the Mikey Show. That story's getting out too, you know. Yeah. With all the mess of that other story yesterday, you know. It's cool to see that, you know, there are guys that are doing the right things out there, you know. For sure, man. I mean, that's so nice what he did. It's so nice. Good morning, family. This is the Mikey Show. Pictures and the director of The Descent. This is the end of the world. I think he hit it. But we haven't even got to that part yet. We didn't even tell him yet. I think he said the part where he said, you say your thing, you say your part, and I go hit it, and then we wait a while, and then you go, Kaz, and then we hit it, and then I go hit it, and then they're more pausing, and then sometimes Sean is confused, and then you go, Kaz, and then he hits it right in the middle of you saying, like that. Sounds weird. What's my name?
All right, thank you. Katie Holmes apparently was talking about her friend Victoria Beckham. What did she say, Skye? Well, according to sources, Katie Holmes was calling Victoria Beckham's tattoos trashy. And word got back to Victoria, and she's not very happy with Katie. Well, in defense to Katie Holmes, all of Victoria Beckham's tattoos are of genitalia. They are a little trashy. It is a little trashy when you really think about it. When you really study it. Analyze it. Read into it. Do you think she really said that? I don't know. It would be pretty hard. Who told who that she said that? I don't know. I saw on AOL that Kate Hudson is not pregnant. There's been rumors that she's not. She isn't. Yeah, she was seen in a bikini the other day. Kate Hudson, by the way. She's very pasty, but not pregnant. She was doing an interview, and they brought up Katherine Heigl. Doesn't know who she is. Shut up. Kate Hudson, never heard of her. Oh, that's funny. Kate Hudson has never heard of Katherine Heigl. Now, I got to tell you, I don't think that this is that surprising because I know this. There's a lot of people listening right now that are like,
I don't know who Katherine Heigl is. Right. I mean, there's a lot of people listening, obviously, that do. Sure. We do, because we're, you know, we're in radio, but a lot of people, I'm telling you. Yeah, but Kate Hudson runs in the same circles. Totally. Absolutely. That's the surprising part. Totally runs it. I mean, they're both in Hollywood. How do you not know? Although I will say this, as you get surprised, like, how does she not know? I know this. All of us, well, most of us that are listening, there's a lot, especially guys that are going to work right now, they're like, who is Katherine Heigl? Again, what Eddie's saying is correct. If you're working in Hollywood, you would think you would kind of know. But for whatever reason, I don't think Katherine Heigl is that big a star. I guarantee you she's heard of Knocked Up. And then she probably was like, oh, she's the girl. Okay, okay. But I could totally see her not being top of mind. Because I remember. It was only like about two months ago where even I was like, so Katherine Heigl, and I was kind of looking at you guys like, and you had to tell me. Like, oh, it's the girl from Knocked Up, blah, blah, blah. Well, and isn't there kind of a division in Hollywood between movie stars and TV stars? Oh, but Katherine Heigl is a movie star. Oh, she is. Yeah, it's 27 dresses every hair of it. Oh, my bad. I'm sorry.
Everybody on the show, nobody has a very high opinion of Katherine Hegel. I do. I love her. But what about the personality? I thought you had an issue with that. The personality off the screen. I forget what it was. There was something that happened that I didn't like with her, but I love her on Grey's Anatomy. I've loved her in every interview that I've read and seen with her in it, and I loved her in Knocked Up. We played the clip of her talking about... How Knocked Up wasn't... She regrets doing it. It wasn't that funny. And she hates that she wasn't... I don't think that that's how she said it. What is her character on Grey's Anatomy? Who is she? What is her character's name? Lizzie or something like that? Yeah, Izzy. Izzy, Izzy. Sorry, I don't watch that stupid show. Get with it. Lizzie. It's Izzy. Lizzie? What kind of name is that for a character on TV? It's a really weird name, Mike. It's so strange. It's a stupid show. It isn't... It's not a stupid show. It isn't. Jenna Fisher was talking about how she's kind of nervous doing the Vanity Fair photo shoot.
Because she's Hollywood's it girl right now, and that's the story. Hollywood it girl. Yeah, so they were doing a photo shoot with a bunch of people. Sarah Silverman, Tina Fey, Jenna Fisher, I guess Lindsay Lohan. And Jenna said she couldn't sleep the night before because she was so nervous. And she said, so when she would be there on the set and the photographer would be focusing on some of the other girls in the shoot, she would just kind of sit there staring off into space because she was tired. And the next thing you know, she would hear the photographer going, oh, that's perfect, Jenna. Oh, yes, stay right there. And she's just like dazing off into space, like didn't even know they were taking her picture. So she said, I guess this is her quote, quote, I guess for me, channeling Lindsay meant not getting enough sleep. Wow. Yeah, a little bada bing. I think that being in movies would be the coolest job. I do, man. I know that a lot of their job is sitting around and waiting, you know. Yeah, but they get those rad trailers. Yes. Read books, play video games. For real. Whatever you want. Check it out. It's easy. It's easy. If I was a movie actor, I would call up you and Rob and like a bunch of, and Sean wouldn't come. Of course not. But I would call up guys I know that would come.
And I'd be like, you guys just got to come up here and hang out. Dude, in a second, I'd be like, dude, you got any scripts for me to read? Yes. I'll read them for you. I'll tell you what's cool. We'd all just sit in the trailers, walk around, like get golf carts and screw around. With our boxers and robes. Yes, and our boxers and our black robes. Yeah. Smoke out of corn cob pipes. Yes. What? Huh? What? Yeah, we would just carry around our bagpipes. Oh, coin cob pipes. That too, huh? What? Ah. Frosty the Snowman? Yeah. Dude, I think it'd be cool to have a nice pipe. You do not smoke the finest tobacco. Actually, I believe him. Maybe he would want to do that. I really do believe him, actually. I could totally see him now with a pipe in his mouth. Totally could see that. If I was that rich, he'd be great. Oh, only if you were that rich? Well, I went to... Yeah, they're like $13 for a brand new one. I went pipe shopping at... Wait a second, Rob. No, you can't just start saying stuff. No, at the swap meet over at Sports Arena. But they were all used. You always want a secondhand pipe. It's got like teeth marks all over it. Oh, yeah, they did. For someone who's chewing on it. That's so disgusting. And the guy that was selling them was like... No, they weren't. No, they were like 20 bucks.
And somebody's used it? Oh, the guy that was selling them was like a big pipe smoker, but he was like 112. Dude, that's filthy. Somebody had been smoking on that pipe? He was actually 35. He just looked 112. To get a new one, they're really expensive. How much? I don't know. Rob. Just make one for you. Rob. Yeah. You would really smoke a pipe somebody else smoked? I'd give it a shot, yeah. Oh, somebody else did? Yeah. It's gross. You really would? Yeah. That is really gross. That is so gross. Like, how do they clean it? Kill me? I don't know. Windex. Yeah. I would not want to bite into the mold on a pipe of someone else's teeth. Why don't you come lick one of these pencils in here that Blunder gnaws on all day? Does he really? Oh, yeah. Half these pens are chewed on because Budweiser chews on them all day. How does he not think that that's so... Gross. Kid's hungry all the time. He is. What's wrong with that? I can't stop eating. Direct quote. Can you imagine? That's an air check. Can you imagine swabbing one of those pens in this studio and what kind of filth? What kind of yucky filthy is on there? No, I don't want you. Who
Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey, if you think about like a hookah, people just sit around a hookah and they just pass it and smoke. Isn't that people that you know, like they're your friends, you have it at your house and it's your friends? And usually they give you your own tip. Yeah, dude, you're not buying it at a swap meet where some dude from Santee sold it for 10 cents at a yard sale. And this guy at the swap meet buys it for 10 cents at a yard sale, resells it for 50 cents and makes a profit from Boston Rob. Oh, Judd. You'd do it. You'd do it. Certain things I can't do. Oh, man. There's certain things I can't do. Plus... It's like using somebody else's toothbrush. It is. It's so gross. Rob, now I know what to get you. I'll spend the $4, get you a brand new corn cob pipe. I just think, I don't know. I see that as something really, really rich people do. I wonder how much a brand, and I'm not talking about a pot pipe. I'm talking about a real grandpa. Tobacco pipe. Tobacco pipe. I wonder how much a brand new one is. Somebody's got to be listening that works at a smoke shop. Get one for Boston, Rob.
I would love to see him smoking tobacco and a little corn cobwebs. No, you got to get him at like a cigar shop. There's one downtown in Horton Plaza and they have all these sick fedora hats and they got big pots. I love that store. What a cute. 1930s. Hey, Sarissa, if you're listening, I hope you're writing down these gift ideas because these are priceless. She knows. These are priceless. She's taking inventory. Zeth, this is going to bum you out, but the creator of Dungeons & Dragons has passed away. So, yesterday, it happened yesterday. Zeth, are you okay? No, no, no, no. It's not easy. Why is everybody laughing at that? I just want to know that the guy passed away yesterday. Thanks, Mike. You rocked my life. I'm going to miss you. So, who got him an orc or a hobgoblin? I don't even know. How do you know? How do you know? You play? I was a D&D freak. Don't you like, you roll dice and you do the whole thing, right? Yes. And is there ever a, can you win? Is there a winning? You have different missions kind of that you go on and you can finish those and then start another one. I played it one time as a kid, didn't get it, gave up. And the guy that I was playing with I thought was unfair.
Why? Was he the DM? He was the main man. Dungeon master. He was the DM. The main dude. He was like my main dude. What we would do is we would sit there at the table, at the kitchen table. We'd have all these books on our magic spells. Don't make fun of it. There was no magic spells. We would roll the dice. Then he would say, okay, I just beat you. I just killed you. I'd be like... I don't even know what just happened. You go, well, you don't have a good enough sword. You gave me the thing I'm fighting. First of all, you are supposed to create your own character. We did it together. If you created your own character, you probably had a low level guy. Because he was helping me. No, you start out with a low level and the more things you do, the more you advance. So why would I even be fighting him? I mean, he's too good. Well, he doesn't have a character. If he was a proper dungeon master, he was playing as like the... creatures that you probably were fighting against. He always had them beat me. He didn't have them beat you. You always go like this. You just got killed. Maybe you're not a good roller. Mike, just stick to the duck hunt. How did I get killed, man? It's not fair, dude. You need more HPs. Duck hunt. You're real good at that one. Hit points.
Very cool. We played for three hours and became a fifth level Thetan and we stopped playing. We stopped playing after that. Congrats. How did this guy die? Well, I guess he was suffering from health problems for several years. Dork got him. Dork got him? Well. Well, that's sad. In Utah, they're finally changing this law. Now, this blows me away that they're doing this. Because I knew that they did... When you're an alcoholic, you know things about alcohol in the country and laws. In Utah, they never put as much alcohol in the drinks. You know, like their beer is not the same percentage of alcohol. Yeah, they put it lower. Yeah, like if you order a cocktail in a bar there, there'd only be one ounce of alcohol in it. And here, I guess it's one and a half ounce is the standard, you know, amount of booze in a drink. Now the booze, the hard liquor, it was the same. Like, in other words, you would buy a bottle of Crown Royal.
And it was a bottle of Crown Royal. Yeah, when you're going to Little Feet. Yeah, great, dude. Like, let's say you're going to, you've got all your Mormon friends, right? Yeah, you need to get a box. Yeah, and you guys are all, hey, guess who's going to be in Salt Lake City Civic Center this weekend? So it's all roll in, you know, the limo. We'll get ourselves a bottle of Clown Royal. Clown Royal. So, but they say that doubles will still remain illegal in Utah. You can't order a double. It's the only way I can drink. Well, I'm sorry. So, yeah, dude. So check it out. So you, I remember one time. Landing at the Salt Lake City airport. Okay. And I was big surprise. So I roll in there and I want to order my double captain and whatever's I used to get. Like she said, you got, they put one shot of alcohol and that's all they can do. That's all you get. Beer was like specially made and it had like half the amount of alcohol or something like that in the beers. Yeah. The beers were a less. potent mixture. That's weird. That's crazy. Yeah. Go ahead. And then they also have this law that like, so say you're drinking margaritas and you want to order a shot of tequila, you cannot. They cannot serve you a shot of whatever alcohol is in the drink you're drinking. So if you're drinking a margarita and you want a shot of vodka, that's okay.
But a margarita and a shot of tequila in Utah, not okay. Bizarre. Yeah, that's how you get so sick mixing the booze like that. So bad. That is brutal. Well, you can't get as drunk when you do that. That's true. In Long Island, a woman just gave birth to identical triplets, which very rarely ever happens. Identical twins, yes. Identical triplets usually doesn't happen. Yeah, and I guess it's crazy because she got in vitro, but she only got implanted with one embryo. And that embryo split, and then one of those embryos split again, and then three identical little boys. Yeah, they say that the high end of that percentage is one in 200 million births for that to happen. They should call themselves the triple threat. Yeah. Yeah, what's up, triple threat? On the phone with us right now is P1 Jesse, who's calling to tell us how much a brand-new corncob pipe would cost. Oh, good, good. Jesse, what do you got? Well, corncob pipes are cheaper, but, like, if you get, like, a nice, like, a good pipe... Like an ivory one. I'm serious. Like a mahogany pipe? Well, they're made out of, like, a hard wood, a very dense wood. Exactly. And it could be, like, $75 to, like, $300. Oh, my. Yeah, that's right. What about... Now, wait, wait, wait. Question, Rob. Yeah.
What kind do you want? Does it matter? Would you be good with a corncob pipe, or do you want a super nice mahogany one? Well, I mean, I'd settle for a corncob. Yeah, but a corncob pipe isn't what you're thinking of. That's not what, like, the wealthy old people use. Yeah, I want eyes made out of coal. Elephant tusk, like, all engraved. Elephant tusk. Elephant tusk, it's illegal now. The really, really fancy. Those are illegal now? Yeah, no, dude. I want somebody to, like, poach an alligator and take his teeth out and make, like, a pipe out of it. Baby seal pipe. I want a pipe made of a baby seal's head. Club it myself. That's what I'm planning. Me and Sarissa are going to do a cruise to club baby seals. And then we're hoping to make a pipe out of one of them. Something nice, though. $75 to $300. That he would never use, by the way. He would, though. I think he would. I don't think he'd smoke it. I think he would walk around with it. He would walk around with it. Eddie's right. Definitely walk around with it. Eddie's right. It would be like his thing. The awesome. His accessory. They last a really long time. Yeah, he'd take it everywhere with them.
Get the used one, Rob. If you get a nice one, it smokes nicer, so you burn more of the tobacco to get better flavor. Seth just sent me pictures of pipes. I'm still all in on this video. Imagine Rob watching a rock. Send that to me. That thing retails for like $255. That would be so funny, man. If I hit the lotto, fedoras and pipes. And I'd get a walking cane, too. Dude, that is so funny. Yeah, those are pretty nice. They smell. Not my favorite. Really? Oh, I think they have a really warm, almost kind of sweet tobacco-y smell. I like it. My grandpa smoked them when I was young. Didn't like it? P1 Chris. Chris. Chris. Let's see. What else I got for you? Here we go. Anna Nicole's daughter has officially been named her heir. Her sole heir. Yeah, because, you know, obviously Danny Lynn wasn't in Anna Nicole's will. So the judge yesterday did rule that she'll be the sole heir. They set up a little trust for her. And, you know, there could be tens of millions of dollars at stake if this lawsuit... Did she get that dude's money, the old guy? It's still in the courts.
How long has that been going? So now it's going to be fought on behalf of the estate of, I guess, Danny Lynn. For real? Yeah. That's nuts. There was a car chase yesterday in LA. It was like an Escalade. Every time I hear it, I'm like, oh, I'm sure they'll get away. Yeah. They always... They always outrun the police. Every time there's a cop chase, they always outrun the police. Especially the helicopters. They get away from those really easily. They definitely dodge them and are able to effectively escape. Yeah, so this one was pretty dramatic. And of course, the helicopters caught it all on tape. So if you watched the news last night, you probably saw it. But it was an Escalade that had LoJack on it. So the cops immediately were chasing freeways, narrow streets. It even went across the athletic field of a school, spinning out the whole deal. Whoa. But finally got the guys. Yesterday.
I flew over to check it as well. Yes, I was keeping some of the footage for Ramsey. He likes to watch the high speeds. So I came home and said, Ramsey, I've got something for you. Wait, he wasn't flying? No, he was off yesterday. Oh, he got a day off? Yes, yes. It was National Manservant Day. I didn't know. I let him take the afternoon off. And then I came home. I woke him in his cot. And I said, Ramsey, it's time to wake up. But you left my leg shackles on. Oh, I'm so sorry, Ramsey. I wasn't able to do nothing. You couldn't go anywhere. Question, Ramsey. How are you able to talk without your gag ball? I thought I put... I could have swore. You tooks it out. Where did I put it? Oh, I know. I was letting the dog fetch it earlier. Let me grab that. Got a little bit of slobber on it. Oh, no. Let's just wipe that off there. And here you go. There you go, Ramsey. There you go. Sorry, it's a little too tight. A little too tight. Hang on, Ramsey. Don't move your head. Don't move your head about so much, Ramsey. Good boy. Yesterday, the California Supreme... Brutal, man. Brutal. Brutal.
Tell me about it, Sky. You're terrible. Why are you trying to go get a gag ball? He's just a servant. He's trying to help Ryan out loud. He was barking so much that he was keeping us awake at night. Horrible. So we were down at the shop and I picked up an extra gag ball. Hang on a second, Ramsey. Hang on a second. You know of your word slower. What kind of? What kind of? Ramsey. Ramsey. Where's the newspaper? Ramsey. Ramsey. Now slow down and say that word. I hate you. Ramsey. Did you say that you hate me? Okay, now sound out again. What were you saying there? Go ahead, boy. He's not a dog. What? What? What kind of... What happened, Rosie? What? Stop it, Rosie. What kind of what, dear? What kind of what? Go ahead. What kind of hot dog? No, not hot dog. What kind of car chase? What kind of...
Oh, come on now, boy. No, don't say that. He's checked out. Ramsey's checked out. Ramsey's checked out. Ramsey's checked out. Does anyone know what Ramsey's trying to say? I don't. Hang on, Ramsey. Let me take the gag ball. There you go. There you go. Sorry, Ramsey. Shrubbers everywhere. Everywhere. You're slobbing everywhere, Rosie. It's all over the floor. I was trying to say, what kind of shops? Oh, what kind of shops? Did you buy this at? Oh, the porno shop. Oh, no. It's a gag ball. What do you think? It was a cheese shop, for crying out loud? I mean... What kind of gag ball do you... I don't understand. So anyway. Yeah, what are we talking about? Oh, yeah, the police chase. That's right. Uh-huh. So the SUV was leading cut on a wild speed. You were moving on to the California Supreme Court. Ah, yes, the Supreme Court. Ramsey, what do you think of the Supreme Court? Ramsey, why are you doing that? You don't have a gag ball anymore. He doesn't play back in, Ramsey. My bad. Silly Ramsey. Yeah, silly Ramsey.
Except for kids. The California Supreme Court yesterday heard arguments on same-sex marriage, then they'll rule in the summertime. That's when everybody's wearing cut-offs, so they figured, you know, they figured it fit better. Why not just wait? I can get a tan then. Yeah. Can you guys just wait until summer when the weather's warmer? We figure we'll have our shorts on anyway. Pastels look better than that. Yeah, I mean, it's the top. And plus they can wear white. It just looks better. Yeah, it's summer. Okay. It's something sheer. Let's see. Police are warning people about two assaults that took place in Chula Vista. So if you are in Chula Vista, be very careful. These were two sexual assaults that took place. McCain is going to have lunch with the president today to try to get his endorsement. McCain! Yeah. McCain! He's pretty much guaranteed his endorsement, but we do know that... The machines gave our endorsement yesterday. The machines. The machines have officially endorsed...
In the game. And Nintendo. Yeah. And Nintendo? I don't know. Endorse Nintendo. Yeah, the Commodore 64 gave his concession speech last night. No, no, you messed it up. It was the Commodores that gave their concession last night. Oh, yeah, them too. Yeah, Lionel Richie was the most outspoken one. Yeah. Yeah. He always really was the brains of the Commodores when you think about it. Yeah. Anyway. Here's the biggest CPU. Yeah. Makes sense. It's true. He had more memory than the rest of them. What are you talking about? I don't know. About McGain? I know, but I don't know. He's having lunch with me today. Hey, look at Kevin Bish, everybody. He just walked into the studio. What is he doing? Hey, what's up, guys? What are you doing, President Blunt? Long time, no talk. Hell yeah. What are you doing? There he is. Everybody's so into, ooh, Obama and...
Hillary. What about good old Bushy? We love you. I'm still running the show. We love you. We're counting down the days till you're out. Some of you are. I think everybody's enjoying their good time. I'm trying to give people money. Come on, like me. But we don't have money to give. Who cares? We'll figure it out. Let McCain deal with it. So, President Bush, I'm hoping... Yo, yo, yo, what's up? Well, I was just going to say, I hope that you are going to give McCain your endorsement today when he comes to visit you at the White House, right? Well, you know, it depends. I like the boys this year. They're doing a real good job. Are you talking about American Idol? You know, the girl, she's not my favorite. Wait a minute, he's talking about American Idol. You know, when she sings, she's kind of scary. You know, she's got that crazy hair. It's between McCain right now and that Castro kid with the dreads. They're my favorites so far. I also like Archuleta. Little David Archuleta. He's a good one. But, you know, anyway. Going to have lunch today. Anything good? What are you guys serving? Well, I love the McRib, as you know. You and my friend Eddie. That's weird. It comes with pickle and onion.
And the barbecue sauce on the McRib. Why do you have so many things in common with Eddie? Because Eddie has the McRib as well. That is strange. He is a genius. He's a genius. He's handsome, too. He's gorgeous. That's weird. That is weird. Enough said. Thank you, President. President of our country, President Bush. Be sad. Nice to see him again. All right. Let's see. I think we've given you everything. Okay. You guys want to hear the Love Boat theme for no reason? Yeah. Why not? Yes. I figured I'd play it. The Love Boat theme always makes people feel good. That's my thought. Oh, look at that. There's Charo. He's doing Isaac. He's doing Isaac. Turning to the camera. That was really good. And giving the fingers. Uh-oh. He's doing another one. Who is this? Yeah, what's he doing now? Who is this one going to be? Who is that? Is that Doc? Is that Doc? It's Doc. Yeah, he gave his thumbs up. It's Doc. Oh, it's good.
Where's Gopher? Isn't Gopher going to come on the screen and do it? Oh, there he is. Oh, I love that. I always wanted to have Julie McCoy's haircut. Oh, wait. But who didn't? Didn't we all? That's right. That's right. I wanted both. Well, I got one. One out of two ain't bad. That's right, Skye. That's the way I look at it. Just playing the odds. Finally, a feature film about Bob Marley is going to be made. Rob auditioned for it, but didn't get the part. Should have had a pipe. That's right. Yeah, he would have had it then. So, did they say who's going to play Bob Marley? No, it was just approved that the book written by Rita Marley will be turned into... Not Rita Rudner. For those of you that were confused, it was not Rita Rudner that actually wrote the thing. Yeah, so no word yet. Rita Cosby. Yes, it was Rita Cosby. Yes! I love Bob Marley. I love the music. I love him. How do you think of the name Marley? Yeah.
Let's see. 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones. You can call in about anything you want. Hey, give a shout-out to somebody. I give a shout-out to Ian Davis. There you go. Ian Davis. Yeah, what up? What grade are you in? What grade am I in? Freshman in college. You are not... Yes, I am. I do not. How old are you? I'm 19. You really called with nothing to say in your 19? What college? Maricosa. Oh, that explains it. Their mascot is the dummies. Mikey Show. Hello? Yes, hello? Oh, yeah. Is it Mikey? Yes, it is. Oh, right on. Hey, man, I just got a pretty sweet haircut. He didn't curse, right? No. And they got a... They got like a... Norm MacDonald? That's what I thought. I got this sick. What do you got, Norm? What's that? Well, let me... I'm trying to tell you. Yeah. What's that? What's going on? I got this... It was like for free, man. Really great haircut. Yeah. Okay. That's cool. It looked like a... Yeah, that's about it. Thank you. No country for a man. That is strange. Norm MacDonald. It's great. Cool. Mikey Show. Hey, this is the first time I'm calling in, but I just wanted to comment about the pipe.
Yeah? Yeah, using it from the swap means not a good idea, man. I don't recommend doing that. Really? I really don't, yeah. If you don't know what these guys have and who they've used it with and... Really? They don't say. We didn't think about that. This is P1 common sense. Dude. Yeah, you know, you guys shouldn't sniff glue. I heard that, uh... I heard playing Russian roulette is bad. This is what I heard. Oh, we're learning a lot today. Where did you hear this? I heard it's a gamble. Oh, man. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hello? Yes, go ahead. You're on the air. Hello?
