Skye admitted that Zeth's canceled birthday dinner was revived without Eddie, prompting a tense argument in which Eddie stressed the plans he and his wife had changed while Skye said the outing came together at the last minute. Mikey and the crew debated whether Jeremiah Wright's sermons reflected on Barack Obama, then turned lighter material into the cursing LeapFrog toy, Battle of the Sexes, and a movie-title elimination game. They also reacted to Pam Babcock being stuck to a toilet for two years, dissected a Lost timeline trick involving Jin and Sun, and laughed at a live feud between Jim and Ollie. The show closed seriously as Mikey recounted his recovery from alcoholism and Teresa described leaving escort work, with both arguing that people trapped by addiction, abuse, or exploitation can still find help and hope.
What happened, in order
The Birthday Dinner Snub
Skye revealed that Zeth's supposedly canceled birthday dinner happened after all, upsetting Eddie because he and his wife had rearranged their schedules to attend the original plan.
Jeremiah Wright Debate
The crew played Jeremiah Wright's incendiary sermons and debated whether Barack Obama should answer for the views of the pastor who baptized his children.
The Cursing Caterpillar
A report about a LeapFrog alphabet caterpillar apparently spelling obscenities led callers to explain that later versions giggled instead of completing swear words.
Battle of the Sexes
Eddie, Boston Rob, Sean, Skye, Ashley, and Chantel traded gender-targeted trivia until Ashley lost the tiebreaker by saying the green light is on top.
Movie Title Last Man Standing
The cast improvised movie titles from categories such as kings, colors, names, and numbers, with Mikey outlasting Eddie in the final round.
Two Years on a Toilet
The hosts reacted in disbelief to the case of Pam Babcock, whose skin became bonded to a toilet after she stayed in her boyfriend Corey McFerrin's bathroom for two years.
Cute Until Marriage
Rob's baseball superstitions and his fiancee's road rage opened a confessional about partners' once-cute habits becoming maddening after years together.
Spitzer and the Escort Spin
After Eliot Spitzer's scandal, the crew mocked an ex-pimp's celebration and rejected a former escort's claim that prostitution was mainly about risk-taking and connection.
Lost's Jin and Sun Twist
Skye and Eddie excitedly unpacked how Lost intercut Sun's future childbirth with Jin's past errand before revealing Jin's grave.
Anchor Versus Reporter
A viral live-news clip captured anchor Jim and reporter Ollie insulting each other's journalism and dredging up the fact that Ollie used to be Jim's boss.
Testimony and a Way Out
Mikey described surviving alcohol addiction and childhood abuse before Teresa explained how faith helped her leave escort work and start JC's Girls at the Rock Church.

report out shows that home prices in San Diego County are down 20% from the real estate peak in 2005. The Aztecs upset Air Force in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament 53-49. We'll play number one seed BYU later today. Just want to give you the text right off the bat. We can give you the text number so if you want to text us go ahead. It's 35253 is the number and you can call us right now too. The number is doesn't matter what area code you live in. 570-1053. It's kind of a cool thing where they just said, hey, listen, it doesn't matter if you're in 760-858-619. It'd be real easy to get a hold of everybody. And so you just dial the number. 570-1053. Open phones, beginning of the show, end of the show. And we do it that way just so that you are, you have that outlet to be able to talk about goofy stuff that isn't necessarily related to whatever it is that we're doing on the air.
You know, the deal is that we have the, you know, we got a process, you know, we got a process. So we got a bunch of stuff that we do during the show. And sometimes it's hard to take the call on the random stuff when you're doing stuff that you've planned. Yesterday, my wife, we have a third row in our SUV. That third row, you just put it down and pull it up, put it down, pull it up. And it's got a button that you press to do both. Well, it's got a button that you press to put it down. Reverse that. It's got a button that you press to pull it up. Okay. To put it down, it's got a lever. And the lever's down at the very bottom. Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's hard to pull, you know. Yeah, it kind of like releases it. It's a release. Yeah. Well, on this one, okay, it's a picture like it's almost shaped like a trigger. And you put your finger and you pull up on it. You don't pull out. You pull up. You got to pull up. And then as you're pulling up, you push. Yeah. Well, you know.
Rebecca's little. Yes. So she has a, you know, a hard time with that. So she said, can you do this? So I started doing it and it was pretty, you know, it had a pretty good thing on it. I'm using that finger that I jammed. Oh, no, Mike. No, don't. And it was like, I'm not kidding you. I finally, I pulled up on it hard enough and, you know, you hear it go poomp. Yeah. And it releases and it goes. And it was like a pain grenade. Like, I didn't feel anything. I pulled up, but I didn't feel anything. And then, I'm not kidding, about two seconds later, I went, ooh, ah, yeah, that hurts good. That hurts real good. So, yeah, I went to the doctor because the, well, I didn't go because of that. I went the day before. I went the day before yesterday. On Wednesday, I went to a new doc because the pain hadn't gone away in the finger. And he just said, yeah, it's going to take you a few more weeks. He says it can take between six to seven weeks for a pulled ligament pain to go away. And I said, yeah, good. He said, just put ice on it. You're good to go. I go, okay. I was concerned that there was something real wrong with it because it's still hurting. The guy said it'll take like a week, two weeks for it to not hurt anymore. Well, wrong you are, sir. So then it says that cat, it was a cat's fault. I was trying to stop the cat, jam the finger into the wall. It was the cat's fault.
But Rebecca insists that we keep the cat. Well, if we had a world without cats, you'd be fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very true. It'd be great. I have maintained that. I've got a question for you, Mike. Go ahead, Sean. That third row of seats that you have, are they cheaper than the front row? Just curious. Yes. Yes, they are. If you want to sit right up front, of course, you pay premium. You've got to pay extra. But we call the third row the lawn seats. I actually asked to sit in. The third row one time and was refused seating. Is that right? Yeah. When we drove up to Anaheim, do you remember? Didn't you volunteer? I absolutely did. I thought it would be a good time back there. And, you know, I can do my shenanigans with nobody seeing. And, no, I was denied. I was told, no, you can't sit back there. Weren't you denied that by my wife? Who denied you that? It was all the women, really. All the women did. They all yelled at me and said. They were ushering at the time. Yeah, they were ushering and said, absolutely not. You're ridiculous. Yeah. first of all, you can't fit back there, which hurt my feelings. Right, right. And then said, no, you're not allowed to sit back there. And I said, well, screw you guys. Women don't really like to have, I know this is a very general statement, they really don't like having fun in a good time. They don't want us to have immature fun, and so they will stop it. They will snuff it out. They will put that out like a fire extinguisher. I believe my wife was saying, oh, you're going to complain the whole time. I volunteered.
How can I complain? You know, Rebecca was like, you're a grown-up. There's no sitting back there. Right. I'm like, come on. Plus, you can save a little money by sitting back there. Well, heck yeah. That's right. Okay. That's right. You've got to watch everybody in the front row on the big screen. But, you know, those seats are fine. Yeah. You have to see all the... You're not up close. You know, you've got to see the action from the screen. But, you know, the technology's come a long way. You can see pretty good. Yeah. It would have been fun. I thought it would have been a good time. I thought so, but whatever. Let's see. Let's go around the room, introduce everybody. My neighbor is sitting in on the show today. She didn't win P1 trivia, but neither did the other guy. And he didn't come in. She came in. He didn't show up. He hung up the phone. Really? Yeah. We would have let him come in. Oh, man. I just said to Rob, I go, where's the guy that was going to come in? And Rob goes, oh, that guy hung up. That's no P1, Mike. Yeah. Okay. So my neighbor Kate's in here today. Let's go around the room, introduce everybody. My name is Mikey. My actual name, everybody calls me Mike. And I go by Mikey on the air. And some people in my life have just known me as Mikey, and so they call me Mikey. So both names are good with me. And people will ask me, which do you prefer, Mike or Mikey? And I have absolutely no preference. It does not matter either way. Because when people call me Mikey, it doesn't bother me.
Please, call me Mike. Please. But it doesn't, so I say it doesn't matter. I have a preference with your name. You do? Yes. Yes. I call you Mike. Yes. And you signed an email the other day. Mikey? No, no, no. Or is it an automatic thing? Automatic thing. I noticed that too. And I don't know why. It angered me. Can I tell you? Let me tell you guys why. You know what it was? When you buy the iPhone, the iPhone has a set signature in it. Oh, okay. And I like signatures. I think they're neat. But the iPhone has a default signature that says sent from my iPhone. Okay. One person wrote me back and said, ooh, somebody's got an iPhone. Look at you. And that was the end of that. Way to go, Rob. You know what I mean? I was like, okay, having an iPhone is pretentious. So I took it off and I changed it to Mike. And then I was sending it to people and I was getting a lot of questions. Do you prefer Mike? Would you rather me call you Mike? Do you? And I went and I realized that most of the people that I was sending it to were knew me as Mikey. And so what I was doing is I was writing emails and I was going and having to add the why by hand.
And I did that so long that I went, I should just change it to Mikey and just every once in a while change it to Mike. But I don't. Yeah, because I feel like I'm in like a special friendship club with you that gets to call you Mike. And when I got the response that said Mikey, I was like, maybe I was evicted from the club and I didn't know. Well, I've known this guy over 20 years. I got an email from Mikey and I'm like, who is this guy? I don't know of this person. Yes. Well, let me tell you guys, no way in the world would I ever refer to myself as Mikey with you guys. No way. I kind of thought it was that automatic signature thing. If it says Mikey, it's because it was sent from the phone. If it doesn't say anything at all, sent from the computer. And I can't wait to get that new email going. That new email address. I can't wait to get the new email going. It's exciting and terrifying at the same time, leaving an old email address. Let's see. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 34 years of age and is looking to buy a house. It's the best time in the world to be doing that. And he's a pretty good cook. He's learned from the best. His dad should open a restaurant, but...
He says that. Not going to happen. Skye is our news girl. Hi. And what did you do yesterday, Skye? Did you have an interesting day? Well, just getting ready to have the friends over tonight. So some cleaning, some grocery shopping. Then took a nice little nap. And then got to take my friend Zeth out for a birthday dinner last night, which was nice because I was very upset that I didn't get to do that. Excuse me? So we went to Stone Brewery, which is really a cool spot. No way. And had a fancy dinner. Got to meet his girlfriend. She's a lovely gal. Yeah. Did you really? Yeah. Yeah, she's way cool.
and went home and watched Lost, Mike. Now, hang on. Now, Sky, I know you're a little confused by Eddie's demeanor. I am. And let me explain. I'll explain. Listen, this can be done very friendly, in a very friendly way that expresses love and companionship. It can be done. It can be done. Yes, it sure can. I will. Eddie, I'll take care of it. I'll take care of it. I got it. I got it. It's all good. Probably not. I think that Eddie is, what Eddie is expressing to you, Sky, through body language, is, boy, you know, that sure sounds good. Sounds like a heck of a time. That, you know, I would have loved to have enjoyed your company and Zeth's and met the new girlfriend. Hey, you know, this one is on me. Eddie is saying this one's on me. But the next time this happens, if you call me, I'll be real happy and stoked to go is what you're saying. Right. Wait a second. Right. No. He's not saying. Not at all. That sounded nice, Mike. That sounded nice. I thought he was saying that. He's not. I am thoroughly confused. Okay. What's up? The birthday dinner was canceled. Yes. Yeah. Yes, it was. My wife got work off early so that we could drive up to North County to have the dinner with Zeph. Yes. And when it was canceled, we kind of were like, oh, okay, well, I guess we're not going now. Right.
But it still happened? It happened. It sounds like it... Now, if I'm making a... I'm going to go out on a minute. It sounds like it may have been something that was just kind of put together. That is true. You know, we have a friend in town who is a friend of Zeth. Who's actually my friend. Well, that's true. Originally, you're a friend. I'm sorry, Eddie. And so we were going to go out to dinner anyway. Is this a joke? I know that Zeth's lady... You're pulling a prank on me. He's not pulling a prank. Surprise! Just say surprise. Surprise. J.K. Listen, Skye, I think I can read Eddie's expression right now. Now that I have more information, I think what he's saying is, I love you very much, Skye. You're a good friend. That's weird. I'm not getting that vibe. Does it look like that? I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone right now. It looks like you're wearing a turd mustache. I'm not cool. I'm going to tell you. I feel bad. Go ahead. Go ahead, Skye. I have gifts for him. No, come on, Skye. It's okay. I'll take them. I have a gift for you. For Zeth? Well, we'll bring it tonight. Yeah. That's what I'm doing, my gift. Well, last night was the dinner. Well, so the dinner got canceled, and I was really bummed out. But we still were going to go out because, you know, we have this guy staying with us, Taheen staying with us. So we were still going to go out anyway. I know Zeth's girlfriend lives close to where we live in North County. So I said, hey, Zed, we're going out.
to stone brewery if you want to join us uh we'd be happy to treat you for your birthday and he said well i'll get back to you and then later in the day he got back to me and said yeah we'll join you so it was at that point it would have been like okay and i totally would have called you but yesterday you seemed relieved that you didn't have to drive up to north county you were kind of like okay cool i don't i can stay home and watch lost i guess you were just kidding around when you said that stuff but i would you know i was kidding around But yeah, I would have invited you if I knew. I mean, I didn't think it was a big deal. Well, I didn't. I didn't. That's cool. That's cool. I didn't. I didn't. So, I am looking forward to going to your home tonight. Well, we're all going to get together. Dad, I'll be there. I blogged about it. We're going to celebrate. Eddie. Tonight's a celebration, Eddie. It is a celebration. It's a celebration of births. It is a celebration of births and your friendship with Skye. Hmm. This isn't my bad. Don't be mad at me. He's the one who canceled the dinner. Hey, I'm just having dinner with friends, man. Was it good? Oh, it was great. Yeah, it was fun. What did you have? Chicken. What did Zed have? Chicken. Some different kind of chicken, though. I think a lot of people are still confused over the name Tahin. Oh, yeah. I don't blame them. I know I am. I've known him for two years. Just call him T. Yeah. Let's see. He's my friend, then. All right. Yeah, we'll see him tonight.
Sean is our sound effects guy. He's a tall man. He's six foot, six inches tall. And believe it or not, only 145 pounds. Whoa. Yeah. Spring bean. Emaciated. Really weird. He's a good guy. Love Shawnee. See how thin I am? He is a... Sean, don't do it. Oh, don't do that. That's an extra wide load right there. We're looking at him on the camera right now, and it's things we just didn't necessarily need to... There's a truck in front of me, in the back, wherever I go. Yep, that is correct. It's like a cloud. It did. It looks nice and soft like a pillow. That's right. It is. Jump in. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years of age, and she went walking yesterday with my wife. They do that every once in a while. They walk. Your wife looks great, by the way. She lost a lot of weight. She looks amazing. She looks really good. I always thought she looked good, and now she looks good, but in a less way.
With less of her. Less is more. That's right. Heard that. And the kid went with you, right? Yeah. That little boy named Jake. Yeah, dude. He's doing a new thing. He does this thing where he's got this little toy and it stands up and it looks like a house, kind of. And it's got these buttons on it that you can press the doorbell and you can turn on the light and you can ring the... Oh, and it's got a little pretend like radio. And when you press the little buttons on the radio, like a different little song comes on. So we do this thing where I say, you're going to play your radio for me? And he plays me a song and I go, wow. And I, you know, get all animated and uncomfortable. And he does this thing now where he presses the button and looks at me and goes, wow. Before I do the wow. It's fantastic. I don't know what it is. You know, this parent thing. For whatever reason, that's really fun for us. Right. Because they didn't do that yesterday. And so when they do it today, you go, oh, that's cool. I have never seen you do that before. That's a ridiculously dumb thing for an adult. But for you, an 18-month-old that's never done that before, that's pretty extraordinary. I like it. Yeah, it was crazy because I hadn't seen him in a while and he's like a little boy now. Mm-hmm.
You know, and he's talking. And then it's funny because normally he'll be good and he can sit in the stroller because we walk for like an hour. And he was getting antsy yesterday. And so I was like, I'll carry him. And so I carried him for like uphill. And, you know, of course your wife is like, let me know when you're tired. But I like am so in love with your son. Like I'm like playing with him. Like I'm eating him practically. So I'm like, fine. I'm like, I'm fine. And so I carried him. Good thing I freaking do yoga. Look at that. Look at those big giant guns on her. Because I carried him for a good like half a mile. Yeah. He's heavy. He's so cute. I love him. Let's see. Boston Rob. He is 25 years old. He is. Wow. You're getting up there. How old were you when you first came on to Mikey Show Apprentice? 22? Were you 22? Yeah. Oh, man. Oh, man. Wow. Well, you said 25. I'm like, no, I'm not. I'm like 23, dude. But no, you're right. Let's see. And Rob, anything interesting going on? Rob, I know yesterday, because we said it on the air, Rob was going to be trying a nectarine for the first time in his life. He'd never had a nectarine. What the heck? Hey, think about that as you're driving. Have you ever had a nectarine? This guy hadn't. That's crazy. So yesterday, for the very first time ever, he had a nectarine.
Dude, it's great. I'm having a plum this morning. Okay, wow. Yeah, I think Sky gave me one once. Eddie or someone pawned one off on me. Mike, have you ever heard of this thing called cantaloupe? It's amazing. It's unbelievable. So, he's trying new things. Well, he told me that he discovered fruit. Yeah. How'd you discover fruit, Rob? Wicked broke this week. I'm trying to, you know, make my dollar last all week long. And fruit is like, you buy it by the pound. So it's like $1.49 a pound. Right. You know how much food you can get for that? Tons of fruit, I guess. So all week, that's all I've eaten. Look at you. That's fantastic. Making that money last. Making that money last. So you've gone vegan. Yeah. Well, today I get paid, so not anymore. We're calling it Protein Friday. Zeth is now 23 years old. I guess tomorrow he will be 23. And so big birthday for him and my brother tomorrow is also turning. It is, isn't it? It's a little bit of a debacle. Well, Seth. That was an obscene gesture. Yes, it was. He deserved it. Well, you know, Zed. Come on. My wife says to me last night, so what happened with you going to dinner for Zeth's birthday? And I said he canceled it.
And she she goes, why? And I said, well, he said, because you and Ashley weren't going. And she went like, you know, like had this instant reaction of like, well, what? Because me and Ashley weren't going. And I said, yeah. And she goes, so did I hear you correct that you would have gone if you hadn't like confirmed the location? Oh, yeah, I was going. I was going to show up. She goes, well, how did that happen? I go, I don't know. I don't know. I asked him, and he just would say, I'm sorry. So I don't know how. But he is now going to be an older guy. Maybe it's that. 23 years old tomorrow. He's got a girlfriend, and he's real happy with her, right? Yeah. Has she given you any gift yet for your birthday? No. Not yet? Are you expecting anything? Have you hinted? No, not really. What would you like? I don't know.
You don't have anything special in mind? No. Money's always nice, though. Oh, jeez. Money works. Yeah. I'm poor. That's right. We are going to be doing a P1 party today. Wowza. That's right. Later on today, we're going to be at Joe's Crab Shack in Mission Valley. And it's happening from noon to one. It's going to be the whole show except for Sean because he doesn't live here. Sean lives in the Bay Area. So do I. You do not. I do. Oh, no. Eddie, you do not. I didn't know that. Born and raised. I was born and raised. Delroy, California. The garlic capital of the world. Well, that's true. I do now live here. Eddie, I thought you live in the Asian Valley. Well, I think that maybe Eddie is saying that because he's not looking forward to the... The old 95020, Mike. Eddie's throwing those gang signals right now because... You said you lost in the house. Maybe he's doing that because he's not looking forward to the P1 lunch like he was day before yesterday. Well, I'm full. I don't really. I'm not very hungry. It's 6 o'clock in the morning. Had a heavy dinner last night. I'm good. Not till noon. Well, yesterday was the big Eddie B. Rob challenge. It's huge. And Eddie lost the video game to Rob.
I'm being cool, man. So today he has to dress up. Eddie has to dress up. A lot of you are probably saying, as what? I'm wondering. It's a surprise. Oh, no. It will be revealed today at noon. I bet he'll look great. Yippee. Now, what we'll do is we'll have what we call the reveal. And so, you know, P1s can show up out there at noon, somewhere around noon. Somewhere around 12.05 will do the reveal. Well, I heard that Joe's Crab Shack has banned cameras. That is not true. I did. You heard it. It's like a concert venue. I heard that, too. No, they encourage it. It's a concert venue. They're now illegal in that area. Ashley worked there. She would know. They encourage it. Yeah, I'm a security guard there, too, now. So I will be guarding Eddie for the entire... P1 lunch today. Kind of like in Disneyland when Winnie the Pooh or Tigger or Minnie Mouse is going around Disneyland. And then there's that security guard making sure none of the kids punch him in the knees. I'm going to be that today for Eddie. That's nice. Security, Eddie. No one gets up in your face, Eddie. You must feel very safe. So come on by and check it out. It's going to be pretty good. Noon to one today. Mission Valley Joe's Crab Shack. And they're going to be giving stuff away.
And it's going to be really cool. So we would love to see you come out. Ricardo Valdez is actually in the studio with us today, too. He's 21 years old. And the reason that he's here, he is an extraordinarily talented guy working over at Cricket. And as an incentive, one of the things that they do, they say, hey, man, you do a real good job sitting in on the Mikey show. And they asked me about it. I said, yeah, I think that's awesome. That's cool. Yeah. So on the Fridays where we let listeners come into the studio, that's a deal. And welcome, dude. Nice to have you here. Obviously a hard worker. I can respect that. 5701053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show. So let's take some phone calls. P1 Instant Classic is on the line. Hi, Instant Classic. What up, guys? What's up? Hey, I had a question for Eddie. I just wanted to know what happened yesterday. Like, how did you lose? Video game to Boston Rob. Eddie. Let me tell you something. I've gotten a lot of emails asking that very question. I blog about it. You can find my answer on my blog. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Only because I feel like I'm making excuses and I sound like an idiot. And it's fine. Rob beat me fair and square. I'm not.
I'm not taking anything away from Boston Rob. There were some circumstances I didn't foresee, and it's my own fault. I blame myself. There you go. I respect that. I respect that. I think anybody could respect that. I blame Zach. Well, I mean, why should anything change? Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey. I'm headed out to the P1 party today, but I can only get a ride there. I was wondering if I could ask anybody that's headed back. Rancho Bernardo or Poway, if I can, like, get a ride back. What are you, Zef? Wow. Something like that. Now, how is this, uh, what's the deal with this? What's going on? Uh, my friend can take me, but then he has to go to court and then to work. So, I can get a ride there. I've just been stuck there. It's called the Ankle Express, pal. Look into it. What is the Ankle Express, Rob? That's a walking system, right? Yeah, exactly. A system. That would be a long system. Yeah. That would take a long time. Uh, Well, listen, maybe you go out there and you make friends or something. Well, have I ever told you about B-Rob's taxi service? Oh, boy. Yeah, it's a nominal fee, right? Yeah, it's just one flat rate. I got AC, I got AM, FM, whatever you want to hear. Nice. You might consider that, sir. Although, actually, listen.
I'm going to augment my advice. In that case, let's drop your dog down in IB. I do think that before I am barking on such a journey, you should have said, you know, way home, all figured out. So worse comes to worse, I'm taxing you. Okay, well, there you go. Good luck, sir. Good luck. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey, how's it going? Good, man. What's up? Hey, I wanted to know, is there going to be a rematch of D-Rob and Eddie playing Madden 08? I would love to see it. I'd love to see it done on a different platform. I have one more question. Go ahead. What are the chances of seeing them play the Padres against the Red Sox on MLB 08? I don't know. We'll have to see. I would love to do that. That seems like it'd be a little bit more fair to both of them. It could be. It could be. Or maybe one that they're both...
you know, not so well versed in where they both kind of look funny doing it, that might be fun too. Just something to think about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Alright, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. So, have you heard this stuff that's coming out today? There's a few big things out there today. One of them is Steve-O, the guy from Jackass, has been charged with felony cocaine possession. Matter of time. That's a big story that's out there and he's in the hospital. From that accident? We don't know why. We just know he's in the hospital. Cedar Sinai, right? Crack as whack. And that he's been charged with felony cocaine possession. When did he get charged with that? Yesterday he was charged. And this all goes back to the March 3rd arrest where he was, you know, vandalizing his apartment building in Hollywood. And the cop showed up and found the cocaine and stuff. So that is a very big story that's out there. which we will be discussing. And we got a bunch of stuff to talk about today. There's a lot of big stories. The other big story out there is the story on Barack Obama's pastor, which is actually an old story, but it's resurfaced. And you got to ask yourself, well, why has it resurfaced? Who is bringing it to the surface? Did you watch any television last night? Oh, yeah.
Did you see that TV show called Lost? On another note, did you happen to catch any news or anything like that? And if you did catch the news last night, did you happen to see a lot of prostitute talk? Is there a lot of prostitute talk out there right now? It ain't easy being a ho now. That's what I hear. So we will discuss Jerry Seinfeld in the stand-up spotlight. They always tell you how the medicine works on TV. You know the commercials? That's my favorite part where the guy says, here's the human body. It's always this guy. You know this guy. No face, mouth open. This is how drug companies see the public. He's always got the tube coming down here and then the circle area. These are the complex inner workings of the human body, I assume. I'm sure when you go to medical school, they put that up on the board the first day.
Okay, everyone, now remember, you've got your tube coming down from the mouth, and that goes into your circle area. That's pretty much all we know. That's it for today. Don't miss tomorrow. If you are using any cell phone company besides cricket, you probably have issues. You probably have things that bother you. You probably get a bill every month and go, what is this? Right, Eddie, you were talking about that, about that whole surprise thing, man. You don't want to be surprised at your cell phone bill. No, especially if you're on a budget. You're trying to figure out how much you can afford every month. And with cricket, you can. You know exactly what you're going to pay. And with any other cell phone company,
Who knows? I mean, it changes every month. Yeah, they've always got those overages and all that stuff. Yeah, because the cricket plans, you get the unlimited texting, you know, and that's what drives a lot of people's bills up is they go over their texting limit and then next thing you know, your bill's doubled or tripled. Right. So if I were you, I would go down to a cricket store today and take a look at the cool phones that they have and take a look at the plans that they have and get this thing done. The Padres are going to be playing the Dodgers tonight. Oh, in China. Oh my goodness. Are you going to watch that, Eddie? Uh, I don't get Channel 4. Yeah, you got the satellite, right? That's the only thing about that stuff, man. It's the worst, man. I think it's on at like 10 p.m. too. Is it really? Yeah, I was going through my DVR. Oh, we can put it on the sky set. Does anybody know if Japan is ahead, behind, what the deal is with that in terms of time? They got to be behind us, right? Yeah, because, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're west, so they got to be behind us. So if we're seeing a 10 at night, it's probably... Oh, it's in China. Oh, it's in China? Yeah. It's in China. It's going to be even further behind. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Day game. Maybe it's already tomorrow in China. Maybe it's April.
And that's why they're playing already. 2010. Yeah. Hello? Hello. Who's this? This is Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson? Wow. What are you doing? Oh, I was calling to tell you guys that it's already tomorrow in China. Oh, it is? Oh. Well, thank you. Yeah, I was visiting the show. Yeah. And I decided I would call in and let you know that I'm already in next Tuesday. Where are you? What? I'm in Boofa Boofa Land. Okay, that's huge. That sounds magical. Yeah, it really is. Have you guys ever been to Boofa Boofa? No, never even heard of it. It's in my pocket. Okay. Well, wait, that's some good information. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm refinancing Neverland. Wait, you are? Why? That is actually true. That's true. Yep. You are? Yeah. I don't know. That's what a lawyer told me yesterday. Well, it was going to be auctioned off in a little over a week, Michael. You can't afford it? Yeah. Are you poor now, Michael? Eddie, I have no idea. Oh, no. That's bad. I know that I bought a sarcophagus for $19 million a week ago. You should be more aware of your finances before you make such a big purchase, Michael. Why is that? Huh? Why is that? Well, I guess you don't have as much money as you thought. It says growing trees.
Oh, my goodness. It was a lie then. My caterpillar and best friend, Mr. Jingles. Thought it was Jeepers. Well, it was Jeepers, but he had a sex change. Now it's Mr. Jingles. Wait, what? Anyway, Mr. Jingles told me that money does grow on cheese. No, it doesn't. Oh, yeah, that was a lie. And then I called him a prostitute, and I told him how to get a hold of Governor Spitzer. Okay, wow, that's weird. That's a way to make some money. Okay, then, bye. Oh, wait, later. Take care. That was a lot of non sequiturs. Can't deny the music, though. It's good, right? Well, let's see. Speaking of Governor Spitzer, there is a lot of stuff going on with this New York governor. Most of it doesn't have to do with the governor, though. No, not anymore. No, most of it has to do with Kristen, who is the prostitute that... Now, why is she like... In finger quotes, Kristen. Yeah. Now, why is Kristen... Like, was she the latest one or was she the only one that he saw? I think she was the only one. She was the only one that he saw. She was his gal. She was his gal. Yeah. And so, well, obviously she had a MySpace, she had a Facebook profile, but...
What's the deal, Skye? Is she taking it down? Well, yeah. I mean, because basically that's, at least in my opinion, why she is such a huge news story. Because she did have a MySpace. She did have a Facebook. So the media could get a lot of information and a lot of pictures of her for them to use as stories. So the media was all over. And all those pictures you saw of her on the news yesterday were all from her MySpace and Facebook pages. So she first went through when the news broke and edited all her pages. 12 hours later, finally realized, oh my gosh, this is out of control. And then went on and finally deleted her MySpace and Facebook pages. And as of yesterday, she was the fifth most searched subject on Google. Are you serious? The fifth most searched. Yeah. That's crazy. Do we know what the other stuff was? Yeah, I have a list. I'm still looking up who these people are. Yeah. Is it people's names? It's people's names. Now, is this the most Googled people or the most Googled stuff? Well, the CNN article says she was the fifth most searched subject, but when we looked it up, the research we could find was on Googled people, and she was number five on that list. So I was able, during the last commercial break, to look up the first two to find out who they are, but I still haven't looked up the whole list. So check it out.
Number four is a guy named Walter Lewin, who, I don't know, Josh's grandfather? Apparently. Okay. Who knows who Walter Lewin is? Erica Ellison. Don't know who Erica Ellison is. Henry Hager. That's Jenna Bush's fiancée. She's getting married. Who's searching him? I don't know. And why? Weird, yeah. Maybe people are interested. I don't know why. But the number one most searched person. Is Jeremiah right? That is Barack Obama's pastor. Oh, that was a big thing yesterday. That was a huge thing. Yeah. And if people are wondering, well, what is it about Barack Obama's pastor that has everybody talking? He, while he's giving, you know, his sermon, has been saying some things that are very controversial. Really? Oh, yes. Yes, very, very controversial. Now, I want to give you this stuff, but we're actually putting it together. We're in the process of putting some stuff together, and what I have right now is a very long clip. I have that one, Mike, where he talks about 9-11. I have that edited ready to go. Let's take a listen. We bombed Hiroshima. We bombed Nagasaki. And we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon. And we never batted an eye.
We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done over is now brought right back into our own front yard. America's chickens are coming home. Now let's pray. Oh, boy. That was a church. Dude. Wow. Basically saying 9-11 was our fault. That's nice. Karma. Well, here's the thing. This is going to, and I was listening to Bill O'Reilly last night, and he doesn't say a lot of stuff I agree with. He says he's a very controversial guy. But one thing that I did agree with is that this is a very scary piece of audio, particularly to white America. Black America has at least heard something similar.
You stand a much larger chance of being in a church where you heard a preacher speaking like this. Maybe not saying the same things, but speaking like this. When you hear this guy, Jeremiah Wright, saying these things in this way, particularly white America goes, what is going on? That's the craziest thing in the world. And what I'm really going to be interested to hear now is... A, why is this back? He didn't make these comments yesterday. B, well, who's putting that out there and bringing it back? I'm not going to connect any dots. I'm asking you, connect the dots. What do you think? Where is it coming from? And why is it back? And the other question that you may have about it is, well, why would Barack, because this man is, he really is Barack Obama's pastor. He baptized Barack Obama's kids. And so some people may be saying as they hear the clips, well, why is he in alignment with the guy? I don't know. What do you think? What do you think? I think it may have something to do with Steve Perry. I've thought this for a long time. There is that connection. I have thought this for a long time. That's true. No, but you've got to answer that yourself. Why is he in alignment with this man?
Are we saying that this is reflecting poorly on Barack because that's his pastor? I think a lot of people are saying that it reflects poorly on Barack because it's his pastor. But part of the reason why is not in the clip that we heard. Okay. It's in some more clips. Okay. And, well, we're getting them. And I think actually we have one of them. Go ahead. Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill have been good to Russ. No, he ain't. Bill did us just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty. Oh, wow. Right indeed. It becomes more clear why people are asking, you know. So, Barack, come on, man. Come on, ride the train and ride it. Oh, man. So you see how people might be going, well, I mean, do you? Some people may say, do you believe that?
Is this theology? Is this theology? And if it is theology, is it your theology? Because if it were not your theology, you wouldn't go, right? Or do you go? I think there's a lot of questions. And so I think that that's what... And listen, the same would be said of any of us. If any of us say, well, you know, this dude... is my pastor, people might say to you, if your pastor was going, it doesn't matter what he was saying. If your pastor's pushing something, people may say to you, hey, I heard your pastor pushing this thing. Do you think that too? It's a fair question. If you do, you can go, yeah, I think that. Or you can go, no, I don't think that. And it's okay for Barack to answer the question. If he's asked, he can just answer it. No, I don't believe that. Or he could even say, if it's the truth, he could even say, I've never heard him say that. This is new to me. What I believe you're going to hear is Barack is going to rebuke this stuff and say, I think it's terrible. I don't agree with that. I've never heard him say that. That's news to me. That's a smart thing to say and maybe it's the truth. But there's more. This is a little bit of it. This is a little bit of it. P1 Mark.
Yeah, what's up, Mike? Not too much, man. Hey, yeah, I just wanted to say about the whole Jeremiah Wright thing. I think that the reason he's coming under a lot of scrutiny right now, Barack Obama's camp, is because the whole time that he's been campaigning for this, he's kind of been able to get a pass on a lot of issues. And I think as his popularity is rising, he starts becoming more of a shoe-in for the Democratic nomination. people are going to start realizing that this Jeremiah Wright guy could possibly swear in the next president of the United States. And that's going to be a big problem for a lot of people when he's speaking this way about our country and our actions abroad and domestic. Now, when you say that you think that it's possible that he's had a free pass up till now, what do you mean? Well, I mean, on a lot of issues, I mean, certainly I'm, you know, I'm a conservative, but I think that there's a little bit of... we'll call it favoritism in the media, in the way that they're covering both the Clinton campaign and the Obama campaign. Why do you think that he's got the free pass? Well, I just think that, like, if you look at Hillary Clinton's campaign, she's come under a lot of fire for some of her policy, you know, her policy statements and some of the things that she wants to do. And Barack Obama has kind of gotten away with just saying, you know, I want change and not being very specific in that.
what exactly is the change that he wants. Exactly what kind of fiscal policy and social policy is he going to enact as president. He's kind of like a weird enigma almost. It's kind of like he might get voted almost just because he's a popular man and he's a very good speaker as opposed to somebody who has a true vision for the country or at least an identified vision for the country. He makes me nervous. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you for the call. He makes me nervous. I don't know why. Barack does? Yeah. Really? He makes me nervous. And nervous kind of means fearful. There's some fear in me about Barack Obama. What are you nervous about, specifically? I don't... You don't know? Well, I don't really know. I know that some stuff kind of gives me the... heebie-jeebies, and I'm not really sure why, and when I hear it, I go, ooh, heebie-jeebie. Like that he smokes? Yeah, dude. Yeah. Even, I remember when we said it, even Sky was like, huh? Really? Like, there wasn't like, it wasn't like, oh, you're a bad guy. There was just like a, when you hear, you just don't hear about people, like in politics. Yeah. Well, see, we were talking, it's almost like a secret, you know. We were talking about it last night at dinner. My wife and I were talking about the smoke thing at dinner last night, and I go, I go, what is it about it? And,
I said, you know, if you talk to people that used to smoke and they don't smoke anymore, and you ask them, well, how come? Usually, not always, but usually the answer is, well, I wanted to become healthy. Now, I used to smoke. I used to smoke. I remember when I started smoking. And when I started smoking, I can tell you that just as a general comment, Me, when I began smoking, I was not healthy in any way. Like, there wasn't an area in my life you could point at and go, that's a pretty healthy area of his life. I was pretty much unhealthy. And so, and I can say the same thing about my addiction to drinking and all that stuff. Like, when I was in that, I wasn't really healthy. You know what I mean? And so, now, it's confusing to me, I think. I have a confusion.
With the Barack thing. I'm a little confused about it. I can't make out my feelings about it. But, man, that's an interesting discussion. Wow. We should have that discussion because I think it's an interesting one. So, let's do this. Time out. Come back. And we got all kinds of stuff to talk about. We've got all of this stuff with the governor. We got all this stuff with... The pastor. We're going to be playing a new game today, the movie word association game. We're getting a lot of texts this morning.
Here's some of them. Mikey, Obama has distanced himself from the pastor but still aligns with them because he wants votes from the majority of America but also from those like his pastor. That's P1 Politics. Somebody else texted, the fact that we know he smokes just shows that he doesn't hide stuff. Shows that he's a trustworthy guy. He knows he can take a lot of heat for it but he knows he will take more heat if he hides it and then later on it is brought up. I think it shows honesty. that he has said he smokes. Somebody else says, I think that Barack Obama's pastor statements shows that Barack might be hiding something, and also if he associates with people like that, do we want him as our president? Somebody else says, I don't think the president or someone who's running for president should smoke. What does that tell America and America's youth? P1 Erica. Another one says, the pastor that you're talking about,
For the first time I can remember, religion is a democratic issue. So if you want to text us, the text is 35253. And you can text us at any point during the show because we read them all morning long. P1 John. Yeah, hi. Hey, man. I was listening to your last caller. Your last caller made a lot of sense to me. All right. I'm from New York State. Precisely Buffalo. Hillary Clinton. I would vote for her in a minute. Just a simple fact of what she's done for New York. Now, Barack, truthfully, have you heard anything about him before he ran for presidency? Well, let's go back. Specifically, what do you love about what Hillary's done for New York? What has she done for New York? Okay, we didn't have United Health Insurance. The parents who couldn't afford health insurance. Well, she got what's called, you know, Healthcare Plus. It goes on your pay. If you can't afford to pay for it, it's like Medicaid, but it's not.
and then it gives you a percentage of your pay. So every child in New York State has health insurance through her plan. I mean, my kids are on it. I live out here in California. My kids have that health insurance. They pro-rate my pay in California for my kids' health insurance. I thought that she was trying to put something through in New York, but it didn't pass. It passed. It went through. It's on my kids right now. It's called New York State Child Health Care Plus. And that came from Hillary Clinton? That came from her. Okay, and your point about Barack Obama... Say the name of that again. Barack Obama? No, no, no, no. Sorry. The name of the health care plan. What was it? Child health care plus New York State. Gotcha. Okay, and what was your point about Barack Obama? Have you heard anything about him before he ran for presidency? Only that he was a young guy who was inspiring the Democratic Party and that he was doing it by bringing people together. Now, that is a lot of... Those are really pretty words. I don't... You know what I mean? Sounds beautiful. What are you going to do for the country? I mean, I haven't heard anything about him. I try to listen to the C-SPAN news and I don't hear anything about this guy, anything good. I mean, his pasture is slamming everybody else. His pasture is trying to convert everybody to vote for him. Using everything that her husband has done, he's bringing up in his ministries. Hey man, I appreciate the phone call. Alright.
That is P1 John. All right, so this is Barack Obama's pastor. And what is his name? Jeremiah Wright. Jeremiah Wright. All right, here's more Jeremiah Wright. Cut 43. Hillary was not a black boy raised in a single parent home. Barack was. Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. People! Hillary can never know that. Hillary ain't never been called a n***h. That was from church. Wow. That's what's getting people really... Well, yeah, and Barack's probably never been called the C-word. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know? Wow. That's such a great point. Okay, so we're all different. Like, I don't get it. Sky, that is one of the most powerful things I've ever heard you say.
I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. Good job, Sky. Thanks. Thank you. Yeah, you get extra credit for that one. Yeah, gold star. What up? Holy Toledo. That is very true, man. That is very, very true. Why is this guy talking about politics and all these things in church? And it's very negative. Oh, it's beyond negative. It's kind of gross. Yeah. So there's a lot of questions that are arising. from this, and people are wanting to know why. Why? That's a big question, is why. A lot of people are wanting to know, why did Billy Crystal play with the Yankees yesterday? That's another huge question. Why did Billy Crystal play with the Yankees? Why? It's obvious. Talent? Well, he did win Harry Metzelli. Oh, that's right. I didn't even think of that. I didn't even think of that. Forget about that. And I understand that they did really good with him playing. What did he do? He hit a couple of home runs? Or what was the deal? No, he stuck out. Yeah, he didn't. He struck out? Yeah. All right. The Yankees won, right? Yankees win. No, they didn't. The Yankees did not win.
Well, Billy, I guess that didn't work out quite the way you wanted it to. Well, listen, Mike, when you're as good as the Yankees, you can do whatever you want. That's right. They are good. And you can put in, oh, what, Billy Crystal? Yeah, we'll put him in the lineup. Yeah, he's 60 years old. Who cares? What else we got? That's right. Man, it must be great to be that good. Yeah. Well, you know, I mean. When you can do that kind of stuff. Yeah. And what was this? Just a publicity thing? Like a publicity stunt? Like let's get people out there? No, he's a huge, huge fan. He's always been a Yankees fan. And it was his 60th birthday. And so he asked them and got approval from the commissioner to sign a one-day contract to play as a Yankee. So he was number 60 yesterday. Oh, look at that. That's very, very nice. We got a couple of viral videos that we're going to give you the audio on in a little bit. One of them. is a guy that is concerned about his grandson's talking caterpillar toy that curses. Oh, well, okay. Interesting. I think that's a genuine concern. I don't know why. I think that there may be an expectation on an average parent's part that says, I didn't think that my kid's toy was going to cuss. Not caterpillar toys. That's right. Well, yeah. They're known to have a sealer mouth. Well, sure. If it was another toy, maybe. So, anyway...
When we come back, we're going to give you the audio of that story, but we're also going to play a little something we like to call Battle of the Sexes. I need to see a doctor. But you're a burrito. No, actually, I'm the cheesy beefy melt from Taco Bell. This is an emergency. I see. Are you an existing patient? No, I'm seasoned beef and loads and loads of cheese wrapped into a flour tortilla. Are you covered by any insurance? No. Well, what seems to be the problem? I'm melting. You look fine to me. No, on the inside, my cheese is melting. Now, are you experiencing any other symptoms? Backing up. Actually, it slows up first through Murphy Canyon towards Arrow Drive and then around this accident. Heading up for that 163 emerge now. South London of the 15. What would you say to people that have not called about AIS yet? I would say it's for real. Check it out. Yep. It worked for you, right? It worked for me. Thanks a lot, man. It worked for Tom. It can work for you. I appreciate you calling in, Tom. 1-800-777-4247. It's AIS. Tell them that I told you to call. I guarantee you.

Please don't stop the mic. Yeah, welcome back to Mikey Show. It's 7-18. A mouse basically held a plane in Iowa hostage yesterday for five hours when a flight attendant was afraid to fly with the mouse on board. The Red Sox had to place Curt Schilling on the 60-day disabled list. Uh-oh. It's tough. What do you think, Rob? What's that going to mean?
Messes up the rotation. We've got a couple guys now fighting for the five spot, and I don't know. It's stressful, but he's 41, and we'll see him after the All-Star break. There you go. Good luck. Padres are playing China tonight. Yeah. Oh, I found out. They're 13 hours ahead of us. I looked on my phone. So it's Saturday. That means that they're day ahead. It's like 940-something at night, or 1018 at night. So when they play, though, tonight, though, it'll be tomorrow. It'll be Saturday afternoon. That's right. Go figure. Eddie's going to be dressing as a something. I'm camera shy. That's right. Really? I didn't know that about you. Oh, that's weird. Eddie lost a bet yesterday he's got to dress as something ridiculous today at Joe's Crab Shack. But we don't know what. We don't know what. We'll do the reveal at about 5 after 12. This story comes to us from WESH-TV in Orlando. This guy's grandson got a talking caterpillar toy. Oh. And it said something. He didn't want it to say. Cut 38. It's a kid's toy.
And it's not even a kid's toy, it's a kid's learning toy. It's the leapfrog alphabet, pal. Kids can press the caterpillar's 26 legs to learn letters. But it's the combination of two keys that quickly got Canetti for his attention. Learning the ABCs became learning swear words from a seemingly cute caterpillar. Now, it seems kind of like a kid can do that very easily because it's yellow, yellow. So they're just hitting yellow ones. My grandkids playing with... Worried that kids could learn from the foul-mouthed phonics, Kanani contacted Leapfrog. He says the company didn't share his concern over the letter's bad language. And was told to take it back to the store I got it from to get my money back. No concern at all as to the fact that it was saying bad words. Knuddy wants to warn parents letters may not be all their kids are learning from this alphabet pal and hopes Leapfrog changes its tune to correct the cursing keys. There may be a three-year-old close by who's going to pick it up and start saying the words, but it's just wrong. Thanks for learning with Leapfrog. Bye-bye. You know what's so crazy about this story is that, and he kind of says it, like...
I mean, duh, it can only come from one place, right? I mean, unless somehow somebody that works at the toy store has figured out a way to do this, but you would think it would happen in manufacture, right? No, yeah. I mean, I don't know. See, we were talking about this earlier because Sky was saying they're finding out right now that some viruses are coming already on the computers we're buying. How is that happening? And unlike electronics, the things they specifically name in this CNN article are iPods, digital picture frames, and navigation systems. So when you take those and plug them into your computer to set them up, they immediately infect your computer. Like straight out of the box. How? Thanks. Well, according to this article, they believe that it is due to lack of quality. at the factories in China, not sabotage. But again, we were talking about that off the air. That doesn't make sense. You know, it's not like forgetting to put a sticker on something. Like, you actually have to put a virus in there. That's a good point. See, it's not about remembering to put something on. You're not supposed to remember to take something out that's not supposed to be there. Shawnee, go ahead. Well, I was just going to say, you know, there is one other possibility, and that is they're using computers that...
are not protected with virus software. And so you have people writing code and programming the software. And when they make the master to go to the factory for pressing, whatever virus was on their computer from the Internet or wherever they got it could potentially be injected into the software that they created. Okay. That could make sense. I could see them wanting to save money and not getting, like, virus software. Or just not caring in general. Okay, it's making sense. Yeah, yeah. Shawnee, question. Yeah. Would a way to avoid this from happening be that it become mandatory for all software writers to be using brand new computers that have never been used? Would that stop it? As long as, you know, wherever the computer's coming from is safe and secure. For example, if it was mandatory that it come from Dell, as an example, or HP, or, you know, a name brand company that has submitted to quality assurance by the government, as an example, you know, that would certainly help. Yeah, because if you are, let's say you're a software creator. Let's say Eddie's come up with this new thing that's going to like, I don't know, pick something, Eddie, pick a subject.
that you're into that you're going to make software for. He's a doctor. He's a doctor. Let's say Eddie has a new program that's going to help people track his patients and this can help other doctors track their patients. Congratulations, Eddie. I don't have patients. I'm not a doctor. I know a lot about medicine. All he has to do is have a real fresh computer. Yeah, real sweet. And he knows he's not going to put anything weird on there. But that is a scary thing. Like, you could be plugging stuff into your computer. It's already got junk on it. Yep. And those were things from China, right? Yes. You could just buy American, you know. Yeah, that's a good idea. That's true. P1 Matt. Matt, what's up? What's up, guys? Hey, I have that toy for my daughter, the Caterpillar alphabet toy. And it doesn't cuss like that guy was saying.
word, it won't let you type in the last word and it won't say it either. It'll giggle as you hit that last letter for a cuss word. It has a fail safe. So you've tried. Well, wait a minute. Yeah, I mean, let's be honest. But isn't it possible, P1 Matt, isn't it possible that this guy had a screwy one? It could be. I think I did hear about the, like, when they first came out that they did um swear and then like they they made a they either recalled them or they made another one that when you hit the last letter of a swear word it would it would giggle and it wouldn't say the whole word well we got a guy on the line says he's got an old version of it and it did cuss it's p1 johnny v are you there johnny v johnny v his nephew his nephew had it and he says that they did do this. Really? Well, when the guy got in contact with Leapfrog, why didn't they just tell him that? Right. And give him a new one? Yeah, yeah. Why make him go back to the store? Right. That's dumb. It's like a whole thing, right? Maybe some of this will solve the whole problem.
Now here's Mikey. It's not looking good for Team Sass. Yes. Still early. Exactly. Thank you, Sky. It's still early. It's a marathon, not a sprint, right? Thank you. Oh, yes. What are you talking about? Think of it that way, ladies. It's a marathon, not a sprint. And so maybe, yeah, just the first couple of legs of the marathon. You know, the guys have overtaken you, but you can't overtake them, right? We can come back. I mean, should we give them... No, you shouldn't give us anything. We're fine. Thank you, though. Tie our hands behind our backs. Listen with one ear. Stop it. Come on. I know you have a little... Don't try to come in here. First of all, don't come in here and try to intimidate me with your hat, okay? You look good. You kind of do. But whatever. Chantel, I love the hat. She works it. Chantel is a Charger girl and she has what we like to call sass. And that's why she's here representing. She's got lots of flavor. And she's here representing.
For the girls. And she's got on a very adorable hat today. Thank you. It looks great. We don't know much about Chantel. May I ask questions? Can I get to know you? Get in there. Come on. Let's go. Boyfriend, what's going on with Love Life? Negative. Sore subjects. Let's go on. Wow. Dig in. Dig in. Chantel. That's the good stuff. I can't get a date. Chantel. You are lying. Now check this out. I promise, ask any of my friends. They will back me up. When is... How old are you? Old. No, I'm just joking. I'm 27. Okay. When was the last boyfriend? A year and a half. A year and a half ago. So a year and a half ago. That's crazy. That's what I'm saying. How long did said relationship last? The last one was almost a year. He break up, you break up. I did. Why? Cheated. No, not at all. Didn't cheat. Just no connection. No real. You guys dated for a year, though. Yes. But after a year, you were like, you know what? It's just not going anywhere. Just not. Just not. Yeah. Why waste time? Love your mouth. What do you like in a guy? Someone funny. I love to laugh, obviously. Make jokes. That's the number one thing. That's got to be the number one thing women say. Yes. True. I love to laugh. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you like a funny guy. Yes. Cute. Cute. Got to be cute. Any other requirements? A job. A job is good. Yeah.
This is a very typical female answers, and they're all good. It's right in alignment with what it should be. You've heard me say many times, don't you think that women are kind of like, you know, they're like anything that can have babies. You want security. You want to know that you're secure. You want to feel safe, right? Yes. They want a good nest. They want a good nest. Oh, yeah. I like that. It's true. It's true. Sorry. It's taken. Definitely running through my mind. Are we about to make out right now? Let me tell you. As each week goes on, I'm going to learn more and more about Chantel. Yes. So I'll ask you more and more questions. Do you have brothers and sisters? Only child. Only child. That explains a lot. Wait. What is that? This doesn't mean bad or good. Take it for what it's worth. Chantel, where are you from? That means I'm great. Okay. I grew up in Marina Valley. Marina? Where? Merino Valley. It's about an hour and a half from here. Okay, so it's Southern California, though. Oh, yes. Riverside area. Can I make it a little better? Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got it. And for those of you that don't know, Chantel's very pretty. Now, they don't let the average ones do the Charger Girl stuff. No. Usually not. I'm just telling you. That's the truth. I'm just telling you. When you look at the Charger Girls on the sideline of the Charger games, you will notice they usually have one thing in common.
They're beautiful. Yeah. True. Thanks. This ain't the Baltimore Ravens squad. You know what I mean? You know what I'm saying? No comment. No comment. Okay. You guys ready to do this thing? Yeah. Let's get it on. Yeah, let's do this. Go. All right. Let's begin this time by asking the fellas questions. What up? Team Awesome. In the house. Talk about it. Pipe down over there. Awesome. The fellas are Team Awesome and the ladies are Team Sass. Oh, I thought they were Team Last Place. No. Look here. I didn't know. I honestly didn't know. Today's our day. Today is our day. I'm sure it is. So here are... How many weeks have we been doing this so far? Three. Really? This is the third. This is the third. Now, let me let everybody know the guys' team is made up of Eddie, Boston, Rob, and Sean. The ladies' team is made up of Skye. Fantastic women. That's right. Skye, Ashley, and Chantel. All right. We'll start with the guys. Eddie. Bring it. What cosmetics company is Eva Mendez the spokesperson for? I love this. We're playing today. What cosmetics company is Eva Mendez the spokesperson for? Hold.
Oh, man. Why were you stretching as if that's going to help you out? It's just it hurts a little. You know it's good when the ladies pop up like, yeah, answer that one, guys. I know she just went into rehab. Now, wait a minute. I want you to be my witness. It was a multiple choice and I didn't give the choices, so I got to give the choices. Do you see that? I got to give the choices. Oh, gosh. No kidding me. Wow, I've never gotten. It's multiple choice. Multiple choice. Woo. Your choices are. Always go with B, right, Rob? Yes, that is what you have to do. Always bet on B. I'm going to ask the question again, then I'm going to give the choices. What cosmetics company is Eva Mendez the spokesperson for? Is it A, Revlon, B, CoverGirl, or C, Maybelline?
That doesn't help at all. Not even a little bit. Ash had that one. Did you hear? I think most of the big name celebrities are Cover Girl. But Maybelline sounds right. Maybe it's Maybelline. Maybe it's Maybelline. I'm going to stick with my gut and say Cover Girl. That is incorrect. That was a great job. I love that question. That was a great question, Mike. Love it. That was a goodie. Love it. Perfect logic, though. Perfect logic. Eva has put herself in alignment with the Revlon Corporation. What? It's okay. I don't even know what that is. Yeah, well, welcome to the club. Sometimes I don't know. All right, Skye, we go over to Team Sass. Yes. Give her a hard one, Mike. Here we go. Skye, what is the profession of Kevin Connolly's character on Entourage? Is it A, actor?
B, manager. Or C, director. Manager. She watches the show. That is correct. She watches the show. Dang it. That is correct. I'm fair. I would like to high-five. What up, girl? No high-fiving. Yeah, Team Cessna. Damn it! Brutal. All right, Eddie. Your question? Not me. Oh, no, no, sorry, sorry. Boston, Rob. Boston. Oh, Boston, Rob. Come on, Riz. Get it. All right. We need you. Rizzy? Let's go, dude. Oh, yeah. Riz, Riz. Rizzy, the type of yoga that utilizes a heated room is known as blank yoga. Easy. Oh, no. We're dead. The type of yoga that utilizes a heated... Oh, look at Rob is rubbing his face like Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone. This is bad. The type of yoga that utilizes a heated room is known as blank yoga. Not Pilates yoga, heated yoga, sauna yoga. Wicked hot yoga. Jacuzzi club yoga. Sweaty. What's with the shirt? Yuma yoga. Alcohol yoga. Come on, Rob.
It's in there somewhere. It is, it is, but I'm going through the file cabinet and it's like empty. Well, since we have an appearance at noon, Rob, why don't we... I don't know, dripping sweat yoga. That is incorrect. Unfortunately, that is incorrect. It's actually called Bikram yoga. What is it? I think it's called Bikram. Bikram. I've never even heard of that. That's not a real thing. You just made that up. It's in like a 120 degree room. That is disgusting. That is horrific. Sean, how would you like to step into that room? In full position. I don't even want to talk about it, to be honest. Sean's a germaphobe, and so I'm wondering what he would think of having to go in there and, I don't know, lay down on the floor after it was done. Steamroller. Sean has to do the steamroller. All right, we go back to the ladies, and let's go to Chantel. No pressure. I'm ready. No, none. Chantel. Chantel, what actor played the part of Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now? Good night. I'm sorry. She didn't even know Top Gun. How is she going to know Apocalypse Now? I haven't even seen movie questions. For real. Can I get a choice in ABC? I got to tell you.
Every guy on planet Earth is screaming this out in their car right now. Easy. I'd like you to call in. Can I phone a friend? You do not have a lifeline. I've never seen Apocalypse. Well, that is a travesty. Is it a great movie? It's in my top three. It may be my number one of all time. I've been considering it being my number one. But I also have come to the realization that chicks just aren't going to like it like I do. Wow, that is true. I've always wanted it, but chicks just aren't going to like it the way that I like it. Must be the reason why I haven't. Very, very, very good movie. Okay, a guess. Is he young? There's no chance. That is a good guess. Yes. It is incorrect. Okay. The Scottish guy would be fighting in the Vietnam War, but that's cool. Good guess. It was an actor named Marlon Brando. I would have never came up with that one. Played the part of Colonel Kurtz. Ever hear of him? Next up. Come on, Sean. Shawnee O'Boy. Shawnee O'Boy. We're not doing so good today. You got this. Shawnee O'Boy. What actress played the part of Charlotte in Sex and the City? Good luck, dude. Was it A, Kristen Bell? Multiple choice. Multiple choice.
I'm under attack. Are you guys on your period? No. Every week. Every week. Every week. How is that? You guys have one coming up. In fact, calm down. Scott just had a multiple choice. Everybody don't get your panties in a bun. Yeah, that's right. No, she didn't. Yes, she did. But you guys get them every week. This is the first time there's been multiple choice. I'm telling you. You've had two in a row. Come on, ABC. Cheater. Exfoliation. We're not going to. What actress played the part of Charlotte in Sex and the City? Was it A, Kristen Bell, B, Kim Cattrall, C, Sarah Jessica Parker? Really? Come on, Sean, you can do this. I'm telling you, I would have no chance at answering this. Not a chance in the world. I started watching 10 minutes of that and I turned that stuff off, man. Couldn't take it. Not a Sex and the City. Yes. Didn't like it. My wife loves it.

Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Hey, check this out. Got this email. Mikey, I have felt like a part-time P1 until yesterday.
I went to Sleep Train so that I could have a reference to compare used mattresses on Craigslist. I took my three-year-old in there, which is typically a bad idea because she doesn't have the ability to self-calm herself yet. I digress. But my point is that they made it so easy to figure out which mattress I wanted that I ended up buying one at Sleep Train. I really wanted the Beautyrest World Class Paris Plush, but it was out of my budget. which is why I felt I needed to buy a used one. The sales associate knocked off $1,213 and offered to deliver it today. We got this email. B-Rob, when did we get this? A couple days ago? Yeah, two days ago. Two days ago. That's awesome. Yeah, man. My wife, who is one month pregnant with our second child, will be pleasantly surprised tonight when she sleeps on our new Paris.
Plush. She really deserves a good mattress to sleep on and I can't wait to sleep on it with her. Signed P1 Norfus. You want that to be your story? Sleep trains are everywhere. Check one out today. getting onto the bridge, but it is backed up heavily coming into downtown out of Old Town. They've shut down the northbound 5 transition completely, though, to the bridge, and this could be a long-term closure as a result. You're backed up heavily here out of Chula Vista all the way into the bridge on this side. Your only alternate, really, or the best way to go might be, if you want to get onto the island, up to Silver Strand out of IB. That's pretty much the way to go right now, because this could take a while. On the south, I'll mix up the north 805, looking good, pretty much out of the south bay, just a brief delay here through North Park.
A few more break that side of Kearney Mesa with a 52. Northbound side of the 15 got hit with a couple of accidents this morning. One just past the 52, another one down near Miramar Road. And that's why you're backed up out of Tierra Santa up towards the Miramar area. South 15, an injury crash near Villarancho Parkway in Escondido. We had a phone call from a P1. He asked for more Banachek references, Mike. And so, to that end... Again? To that end, Mike... Let's return to the high-stakes game of wealthy claimants, high deductibles, and interstate intrigue. With Boston casualties, number one... Insurance investigator and self-made businessman. Ladies man, Mike. It's Banishak. He's going back to bed. Eddie's giving me the... Why, Eddie? Why are you giving me the brake signal? Why is he doing that? I'm just getting started. Nobody wants this. The Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show. It is 749. Ed McMahon's publicist says that he's currently recovering after breaking his neck in the fall last year. Oh, my God. Wow. Wow.
This is also some bad news. Our friend ESPN announcer Rick Sutcliffe diagnosed with colon cancer. Oh, that sucks, man. That sucks. I guess it is that busy. Yeah, remember, Rick Sutcliffe is the guy that said, it's not that busy, man. It's not that busy. It's not that busy, man. It's not that busy. I feel bad for Rick. That sucks. Welcome back to the show. You can text us if you want. 35253 is our text number. And if you are not a member of the Mikey Show P1 Text Army, text the word Mikey to 35253. We would love to have you be a member of the Mikey Show P1 Text Army. And once you're in, you can use it instantly just like you do with everybody else. I'll tell you this, man. I text a lot more than I ever used to. I like it because it is a... I like to communicate through writing. Sometimes it's difficult for me one-on-one.
But it's way more safe to do stuff. I was talking to some guy. We're going to get back to Battle of Sexes here in just a second. But I was talking to this guy, and he was telling me that when he gets his bill, he can see how many texts his daughter has sent. It's on the bill. Now, you guys may think I'm exaggerating, but I want to say that in a month, She sent something like 6,000 texts. Oh, my God. Wow. Wait. That doesn't surprise me. Seriously. Now, Ashley's younger, though. And so it's not like there's a lot of people listening right now that are younger. And they probably go, what's the big one? 6,000. Oh, easy. Yeah, I mean, people, especially my age, it's so common all the time with everything. And what I'm talking about is, is that's how many times either. I think it may be a combination. I may be wrong on this, but I think it may be a combination of how many times you hit send to send your text, but also how many were coming in. Yeah, you get charged like both ways. But can you imagine? That's crazy. That's gross. If they're texting you back, if you're texting them, they're probably texting you back. So if you were to use that logic, it means you're sending $3,000 a month, $1,000 a week. Dude, you're going to get carpal tunnel doing that. I'm telling you, man.
I mean, they, because I thought, oh, I text a lot. I bet it's nothing compared to what, say, Zeth or Rob or Ashley. I hate texting. You don't like it? No. How come? It takes too long and it's a waste of my time. Like, I'd prefer to just call. I feel like it takes less time. Now, do you have... I normally don't respond to texts when people text me. Do you have the kind of texting, Ash, where you have to, like, hit the number? a few times to get the letter, or do you have a direct keyboard? Well, I have Cricut, and I have just a normal phone, so it's like normal. You've got to hit the button a bunch of, like, in other words, if you want a K, you have to hit the five button twice. Is that how it works? Right. So it takes you a while. How does yours work, Chantel? I have a keyboard, so I'm thinking I need to check my bill because I could be up there. I'm seriously like texting queen. Do you love to text? It's my favorite. What if I don't have anything to say but... Pick me up at five. Like, I don't want to call you and text. I'm just send a text. Send a text and say, pick me up at five. Yeah, I don't have more. Boston Rob prefers text over phone. Everything. Don't even bother calling me. Yeah. I'd like to talk to you. No. He doesn't want to, dude. You know what my voice sounds like? Yeah, it's cute. Make a little tape record and you play it at home. I would like that, actually. Then you get his voicemail, which is so strange because...
He has a message set up, even though he knows no one can leave a message. Right. I keep it full. The mailbox is full. Always. So that nobody can leave a message. He doesn't want to check messages. He doesn't want to hear messages. I don't do that. He doesn't want you to leave. But he's got a thing that goes, hey, this is Rob. I'm probably busy right now doing stuff for the show. Right. Never true. So, uh, leave me a message. And then it beeps and you hear this automated voice go, mailbox full. And you can't leave him a message. It's all about the texting, dude. You should just say text me. Let's listen. You guys want to hear Rob's thing? I do. Let's play it. Let's play it. Let me call it. Man, I ain't heard this thing of ages. I don't even bother with it. I wish you would. No way, dude. No way. I got the keyboard on my phone. That's all you need. All right, hang on. Rob, be quiet because this thing won't work if you're talking. He on mistake answers it. Oh, sorry. I didn't know. Yellow. Awesome. That's the song he puts on there. This is what happens every time I call him. We have to listen to this every time. Awesome song. You're welcome. It is a great song, but still. You listen to this, he doesn't pick up, and then the message. Hey, guys, I'm getting a call. Should I get that? How long is this? Yeah, why doesn't it just ring? I'm obviously hard at work. Really important.
so I couldn't get to your call. To leave me a message or to shoot me a text. There we go. See? The mailbox is full and cannot accept any messages at this time. Oh, son of a... Well, but I just... I stopped with that song. I want to leave him a message. That's why I said, shoot me a text. It's detailed, though. Nuh-uh. Yeah, I got a lot to tell you. I got a conversation. I got 161 characters I can get in a text, so figure it out. Figure it out. All right, we're back over to Eddie. Let's get back to Battle of the Sexes. What's the score? It's Team Awesome. What is the score? What is it? Eddie, do you know the score? Zeth keeps score. Zeth, what's the deal? Not today, huh? Not today. I haven't even been paying attention. Team Sass, two. Team Awesome, one. Two to one. Team Sass in the lead. He must have had that reversed or something. All right, Eddie, are you ready? Come on, Eddie. Here we go. You can do it, bro. Eddie, what is the name of the doctor that now makes frequent appearances on the Oprah show? What is the name of the doctor who now makes frequent appearances on the Oprah show? Eddie's got a look on his face like, is this... I don't watch Oprah. I mean, come on. Not at all? Never. Come on, once a week. I mean, come on. DVR.
Let me ask you ladies something. Let me ask you ladies something. Is this something that you think that ladies are driving in their car and they're yelling this out right now and us guys like, because I have no idea. Yeah, they have that doctor on very frequently. My wife watches. Wait. Betty. He already said Dr. Phil. He answered already. Yes, he did. Did he say? I didn't hear. Honestly. That wasn't final answer. I was kidding. Oh, really? Sorry. We'll take everything you say first then. Girls. Eddie? What is the name of the doctor? Something just popped in my head. Yes. Come on, dude. I have no idea if it's right or wrong. Go ahead. Dr. Oz? That is correct, Eddie. What's Oz? What the? How did you do that? No. You can sit down. You don't need to do like a... What are you doing? Are you looking out to see? Eddie is now putting his hand over his eyes as if to say, oh, what's out in the distance? What do I see out there? Wow! That was humongous. That was huge. I have never, ever heard of this guy. Now, Ashley, you watch Oprah, right? Yeah. Is this Dr. Mehmet Oz, is he the new Dr. Phil?
No, he's more like doctor, doctor. Medical. Medical doctor. So he answers like pap questions and things of this nature. I guess. I mean, like one time he was on for like an aging episode, like going over like top five things that make you age and stuff. And, you know, he'll just go on for different types of health. Wow. Wow. Eddie. He's real good. Nice. Way better than doctor. Okay. Okay. I had no idea. Obviously, you did. How great am I? I'll tell you how great you are, Eddie. You're the best. All right, Skye. Wow. Yes, Mike. You may actually get it, but you're going to have to use the head. Oh, no. You're going to have to reach deep. Dr. Oz. Wow. Finish the name of the running back for the Baltimore Ravens. I'll begin it. You end it. Finish the name of the running back for the Baltimore Ravens. I'll begin it. You end it. Okay. His name is Willis... Chantel is trying to will it into her head. Chantel is trying to will it from Chantel's head in disguise. She's going... Well, there's only one answer that's coming to my head, and I don't know. Is it Drummond, Mike? Yes. What you talking about, Michael? Listen.
So messy. Silence. She's concentrating. Stupid. So only one name came into my head, and I don't know. Willis McGahee. That is correct, guys. That is stupid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Holy cow. Holy cow. Wow. Are you paying attention to sports? Like, barely. Shocked right now. I'm in total shock. My girl. No. Boston Rob is standing up. Yeah. He's shaking his head. He's so upset. How can you tell? All right, Boston. Boston Rob. Boston Rob, are you ready? One of these genius moments like Sky just had. All right, dude. Here's your question. Yo. Bring it home, Boston Rob. All right. Here we go. We need it. Which one of these options is a Jennifer Lopez song?
Which one of these options is a Jennifer Lopez song? You mean Mariah Carey. My thoughts don't smell. Here are your options. Which of the following is a Jennifer Lopez song? Is it A, Jersey Girl, B, Waiting for Tonight, or C, Turn Up the Love? Is it A, Jersey Girl, B, Waiting for Tonight, or C, Turn Up the Love? Now, I just gotta be clear. Which one of these options are you saying? So which one is a Jennifer Lopez? I'm going to read this to you one more time. You know I'm stupid. You know I'm stupid. Don't even play it off like I'm not. You guys should be deducted a point for that. No kidding. Absolutely not. I just want to be sure. That's all. Now, Mike, when you say this, you mean the Jennifer Lopez. You don't mean like the girl that works at Wells Fargo. Mike, is it waiting for tonight? Yes, it is. It is waiting for tonight. What? Of course he did. It's in his car. That guy's brilliant. No, that's Mariah Carey in my car. All right, Chantel, you ready? Yes. What's the score? Oh, I think we might be even. It is now three to three. No pressure. It is now. Yeah, but we have two more questions left and the guys only have one. All right. Come on. Chantel. Yes.
What is the name of the former Indiana University men's basketball coach who's notorious for throwing temper tantrums on the court? Oh, my gosh. The white guy who just didn't retire. Oh, my God. Oh, look at this. Take your time. Take your time. She is. Why does he got to be white? You can tell. I mean, he's been white. Why can't he just be a coach? Yeah. That's cool. That's cool. That's cool. That's all right. I feel you. You get it. You get it. Yo, get Barack's pastor on the line. Oh my gosh, I'm going to kick myself after this. Come on, Chantel. How come I can't finish his name? The name of the former Indiana University men's basketball coach who is notorious for throwing temper tantrums on the court. Could be the easiest question ever asked. No, I have to agree on this one. Chantel, I'm telling you, if you can't say this, when you get it, you're going to go, bah! I know.
It's right there, Chantel. It's there for the taking. Oh, my gosh. What the name? Oh, God. Send me a sign. I really asked this guy's name for the life of me. I'm going to give you five more seconds. I can't remember his name. Chantel. Oh, you really blew it. I can't remember this guy's name. His name. Oh. Here we go, Sean. Really bringing down the team. That was really bad. That's great, mama. Wow. Shawnee O'Big. Oh, yeah. Here is your question. Sorry, girls. It's okay. This is it, Sean. You got to get this one. A little ka-dunk-a-dunk, Sean. Come on. You got it, bro. Beep-a-doop. Shawnee. I can't handle the pressure. Okay, just kidding. Shawnee, who won? I'm just kidding.
Shawnee, who won the most recent season of Project Runway? Was it A, Christian Siriano, B, Santino, or C, Zachary Gunter? Say the names again. Okay. Another TV question for Sean. Who was the most recent? Ash, I'm telling you, I go in order. Two back-to-back TV questions for the man who watches everything. Because he watches Sex and the City every week. You got it right. I'm telling you, Ash. Let's see if he gets this one right. Go ahead. I'm going in order, Ashley. I don't know what else to do. That's okay. We're ready. Who was the most recent season? Oh, stop patting yourself. I'm a bad guy. I'm really awesome. Or was it Z? Yes. Zachary Gunter. We go Sean. Come on, Sean. Come on. He'll get it. Yes. Five seconds. I will say B. You've got to get this right, girl. That means it is in Ashley's hands. Oh, no.
Please, please. You've got it. Ashley, you can do this. We have faith in you, please. You can do it. What about my questions? Ashley, your question is, who played the part of Ben-Hur in Ben-Hur? Please tell me there's options. Please tell me. Let's just go right to the tiebreaker. Sky. There's none? There is no options. What in the United States? Please tell me. Steal. I just watched this movie over the... There you go! I DVR'd it and watched it over the weekend. You DVR'd Ben Hurley. It's a great movie. I would love that movie. But I don't know the actor's name. Take a guess. I don't know. I got nothing. Ben Hurley? Sorry, Ash. It's Charlton Heston.

Yeah, because now it's time to stay tuned. That means that we're tied. I've got to say my name, right? And I do not want Rob to yell out my name. But if I do, can he answer it? No. No. All right, so this is what happens. How does it go, Mike? When we become tied, we go to a tiebreaker. Okay. Holy cow. Oh, gosh. The way that you win. Sweating. This is the way that you win a tiebreaker. Stop it, Eddie. Stop. He hasn't even started yet. Exactly. The way that you win a tiebreaker is. You better stop it. You may interrupt me at any time with your name. Okay. And when you yell at your name. Yes. I will go to you. However. Yes. If you get it wrong. Right. Yes. instantly goes to your opposition. Oh, no. Okay? Yes. Oh, boy. Your question is... Oh, come on, guys. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom? Ashley. That is incorrect. Yes! It is on the bottom. And she won the driving challenge. I knew that, yeah. That means... I was right after her. The fellas have won...

It is completely shut down for the most part on the northbound side of the 5, getting out of the bridge this morning. South on the side of the 5, we're looking at a hard term closure here very, very soon. This all started with an overturned big rig that started off South 5, getting on to the entrance of the Coronado Bridge. Overturned, oil every place, what a mess. Right now we've got south, I mean northbound side of the 5,
Still crawling out of the South Bay here from Chihuahua Vista all the way up to the scene. Looks like your only way into Coronado right now is getting on that silver strand out of the South Bay and heading up to the island that way. You can access right now northbound, or make that, I'm sorry, the Coronado Bridge south on 7-5. In the right-hand lanes are off of Cesar Chavez Parkway. That's working for you right now, but not for very long. North 8-05, a much better way to go out of the South Bay into the city. That's still clear until you get to Kearney Mesa. And it's back up from the 163 over to 52. I think that they might be legally insane. So, Rob, how many Tic Tacs could you down? Come on, what would be your last meal? You could finally have the calories. Yeah, if I could have the calories, I'd go all out. I'd get... This sandwich from this place in Martha's Vineyard called The News, but it's just basically... Hold on, hold on. I usually get it on the side. I get the Huey Lewis as my entree. That stuff on the side is good. Now back to the Mikey Show. Back to the show. It's the Mikey Show at 8.
A new report out shows that home prices in San Diego County are down 20% from the real estate peak in 2005. The Aztecs upset Air Force in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament 53-49. They're going to play the number one seeded BYU today. I just want to remind you that we are doing our P1 lunch today and would love anybody that's listening right now to come down and say hello and hang out with us. We're going to be at the Joe's Crab Shack in Mission Valley. We're going to be there from noon to one. Yes, Mission Valley. And we'll be there from noon to 1. So come on out and see us. Let's see. Am I missing any information on that? Nope. You got everything, buddy. Oh, wait a minute. We're good. No, you're good. Good job. Oh, there's that one thing. You did a real good job. You read that. The liner said the head doesn't have any of that. What are we doing? Wait a second. You're good. Eddie will be dressed. I think there's going to be specials. Special lunches and whatnot.
Love that calamari. One of the things that's special today is Eddie dressing especially different. Oh, nice. No, I just got my shorts and my shirt on. Well, right now. That may change. I didn't spice it up or nothing. That may change. Eddie lost a bet, and so he will be dressing, you know. In a ridiculous costume. Don't worry, Eddie. I'm your security guard. You'll be fine. She'll keep you safe. Boy, I don't really. I'm good. Catch you from any better time to, you know, harass you. There are a few places to eat that I think are special. Now, see, I got like this whole thing. Like, oh, yeah, you know, this place is good. This place is all right. This place is whatever. Like I always say when I talk about Pamplemousse, I say it's my favorite restaurant. Probably ever. But I even have special things in terms of like maybe a fast food or a place that makes this or a place that makes that. This place, Divine Postabilities, they're special. They really, really are. They're on Midway and they have a website. It's torpasta, T-O-R-P-A-S-T-A dot com.
They're real good. Dude, yum. Crazy sandwiches. Yummy. They are. What they do is they take bread, hollow it out, and then put pasta inside of it. Yeah. What's really interesting about it is that they don't cut the bread in half. So it's not spilling out all over the place. Exactly. What they do is they take the bread, they cut the very top of it off, meaning the very end of it. Right. They cut the very end of it off, and then they hollow it out and stuff it. And it's really cool because that's what you would do if you went and had pasta. You would have bread. Yeah. So this is a self-contained dinner in a sandwich. Yeah. It's brilliant. It kind of confuses your brain a little bit because you're eating a sandwich and it's pasta. Like I got the spaghetti and meatball one and it's like I'm confused but yet it works in my mouth. It's delicious. So good. So you got to check them out. They're called Divine Pastabilities and it's an unbelievable sandwich and they're down on Midway. So go check them out. Pretty nice. Here's some of the things. Big stories out there. Big stories.
One big thing, Sky mentioned, San Diego County's median home price down 20%. This is great news for Eddie because he's buying. Yeah, but I'm also a homeowner. But you're not going to be selling anytime soon. So as long as you can wait it out. I know, but it's not good news either way. It doesn't feel good. It's down 20% from the 05 peak. Yeah. So right now, the median home price for San Diego County is $415,000. That's down 3.3% from last month and 13.5% from last year. But, okay, here's a tiny little silver lining. Sales were up 7% last month, which analysts say could show that we're slowly starting to rebound. So let's all, all us homeowners, keep our fingers crossed for that. Good. Yeah. The Aztecs upset Air Force in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament, 53-49. You know, this is kind of what they did last year when they ran through the Mountain West Tournament. It would be nice to see that happen again. You know, they got to get on a little hot, get on a little run. Beat BYU today, which is going to be tough. BYU is pretty good. And then probably face like UNLV in the finals, which will be difficult. SDSU. Ashley is an alumni. Who, who, who?
It'd be cool to have two San Diego teams in the tournament. It'd be awesome. Steve O has been charged with felony cocaine possession, and he's in the hospital right now. Yeah, it all stems from an incident earlier this month when police showed up because he was allegedly vandalizing his own apartment building. Yeah, really bad. Eddie and I met him. Yeah. If you pray, pray for him. That guy's got problems. Yep. Ed McMahon broke his neck last year. We didn't even know about it. That's crazy. Yeah, I guess he recently showed up at a public event wearing this big old neck brace. And everybody's like, what? What happened to Ed McMahon? So his publicist had to release a statement saying, yeah, he fell last year and broke his neck and has had a couple surgeries since. But his publicist also went on to say, when asked, well, what happened? Where did he fall? How did it happen? His publicist says he will not comment for legal reasons. So whatever that means. Our gas prices here in San Diego are at a record high. Again. Take it easy, Rob. Again. The average in the county this week after another about 8 cent increase over the last week is $3.62 a gallon. Gone up about 51 cents over the past month. What happened? Yeah, where's this money going? What are they doing with it, huh?
Yeah. Oh, are you serious? I don't think we're doing anything with it, Rob. I think the Saudis are doing stuff with it. It drives me nuts. Oh, wow. But we do have to... But Rob, you bought a new car. I can't afford to drive it anywhere. Oh, he's kind of a hothead. Not a hothead. I'm just saying. Four bucks a gallon? Oh, jeez. To the battery. Oh, I come to work and I can't eat. Yeah. The bright side is that there's some oil sheik somewhere in the middle of the desert in Saudi Arabia that really appreciates you. All the CEOs of ExxonMobil and all them, they can probably expect record profits again this year. They say, thank you, Rob. But it could be worse. I'll make my own gas. I'm going to go drill. You do? What are you talking about? All the time. Do it all the time in the office. Yeah, but stuff that can run in my car. All right. But it could be worse because in Maui, it's just a few cents under $4 a gallon. Oh, aloha. I'm nuts. Rob just really upset about gas. Really upsets him. Now it's out of control. It is. So is he. I'm not out of control. You're all right. That's everything that's out of control. Hey.
What do you guys think? Should we give this game a try? We got a new game here. I don't remember how it works, but here's what I think I remember. One of these. Here's what I think I remember. I want to be able to... Can listeners call up and say, I want to pick a person on the show? That's exactly how it works. I'm going to pick a horse. Pick a horse. And it's kind of a last man standing game. It's a last man standing. I can't wait for this. Last man standing. People probably do this at home or around the campfire, stuff like that. Oh, the campfire. We're going to have to have a... All right, let's... 5701053. Who can they pick from? All of us. All of us. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, who did... Did you do these, Eddie? Yeah. Okay. Now, are we in any trouble because you did them? No, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It's still... I guess I could sit it out. Let me sit it out. Call and pick anybody but me. Well, you don't have to unless you want to. Well, I thought I have to because...
Why? I've got to play for somebody. Don't I have to play for somebody? Can't you play, though? Why can't you play? They get to pick all of us as a horse. Okay, but there's seven of us. Yeah, there's no answers given, so you can play if you want to. Yeah, I do want to. I want to have fun. You're going to be good at this. Okay, Mikey Show. Call and pick a horse. Now, let me give you an example of how it would be done, okay? Okay. Should we go in the way that I introduced the show? Well, you can't do it every time. Like it's got to change every time who starts first because whoever starts first has kind of an advantage. Okay. So if you started first in the first round, somebody's going to get knocked out. Then I'll start first unless I'm knocked out and then so on. Do we go in the – You can go in that order. Go in that order? Whatever is easiest. But just go to a different person each time. I got it. Okay. Now the way that it would work is let's say that the word was – The word was, I'm trying to think of a word that's in a lot of movies. Just pick an easy one like A or the. The. Just for an example. Okay, let's say it's the. Then I would say the Fisher King. And Eddie would say? The family guy. Sky? The hand that rocks the cradle. There you go. And we would keep doing this. We would keep going around the room until somebody couldn't do it. Three seconds? How long do you have? I mean, it's got to be quick. It's got to be quick.
You only get three seconds of silence. If you have three seconds of silence, you're out. So you give us a word, and we have to name a movie title with that word in it. You got it. And can it be anywhere in the title? Yes. It can be anywhere in the title. P1 Bud Light, who you want? I'm taking Rob. Hang on. P1 Uncle Albert, who you want? I'll take Eddie. Yeah, Uncle Albert. P1 Joe. I'm taking Sky. Oh, what up, Joe? P1 Waterboy. You got it. Hang on. P1 naked. Yes, sir. I'll take Sean. You got it. And P1 Juan is the last person, and I'm waiting for him to be on hold. And Juan, are you there? Yes. Okay, Juan. Who do you want? Mikey. Okay, hang on the line, okay? Okay. All right, so here's what we do.
We got somebody who's got to pick Ashley. Well, Ashley's playing for herself, so she gets to keep the prize. Oh, no, that's not fair. Oh, it's not fair. Well, see, that's the thing. We've only got... Six lines. Well, I figured Ashley would play and Zeth may sit out, but we can... Zeth, you sit out. Waterboy... Sorry, Zeth. Let Waterboy know Ashley's playing. Line four is now for Ashley. Okay, cool. Are you ready? Oh, man. Oh, this makes me nervous. So are you clear on how it works? Yes. You just keep going around until somebody's knocked out and then they're knocked out. That's right. And then you start again. And we can say... Because I missed that and I kind of forget. I'm just confused. The word can be anywhere in the title of the movie. The word can be anywhere in the title of the movie. Anywhere. Eddie, question? Yes. Does that mean that there will be several winners or only one? It's whoever finishes at the end. Whoever's the only one standing. Because it's going to get down to... Last man standing. Yeah, it's going to get down to like two people going head to head. Got it. Ooh, that's going to be good. Got it. Hope I'm not... Holy cow. Okay. I'm so excited. I'm ready. I'm ready. I think I have an idea. Why don't we have Zed give out the words? That way we can... It might be a little bit easier. Oh, we're not going to understand them though. Yeah, I know. Zed, you can do it. Zed will give out the words. Don't mumble this time. So we're going to have a winner for each word? No. Nope. No.
Your person's going to get knocked out. And every round, a person gets knocked out. So when somebody gets knocked out, we go to the next word? We go to the next word. Oh, okay, okay. It's elimination style. We'll be down to two people. And who starts it? Who's going to start this round? I'll start it. Okay. And then we're going... Oh, my gosh. In order of the way we're sitting. We're the best. So wait, when is Sean? Sean is going to go... After Sky. Oh, so the order we are introduced in the morning. Yes, that's correct. So you're last, Rob. Mm-hmm. We really do like to make games confusing, but it's not that confusing. It's going to be fun. It's going to be fun. It really isn't confusing. We just like to figure things out on the air. That's how we roll. Sean likes it. No, no, no. Listen. Here's what's funny about it. We kind of did work it out beforehand, and then I forget everything. It doesn't matter. We can work it out in the office. We come in, I have to know on the air. I won't remember. A lot of people play this game at home and stuff like that. Just different variations of it. So you'll get it. Okay. All right, let's begin. What's the first word? King. The king of comedy. King Kong. The king and I. You're out, Sean. I can't think of anything. Oh, my God. Wow, that was quick. Sean's done. Thank God I had nothing. All right. All right. This time, Eddie begins. Oh, no. All right. Let me give a clarification on this one for Rob, first of all. Let me give an example. It's movies with a full name as a title, like Michael Clayton.
Movies with a full name? Yeah, movies like with a person's name in the title. Okay. Do I go? So it only can be a person's name? Oh, that's what... Oh. A person's full name. It can be the person's full name, but it's got to be in the title. Oh, oh, okay. So, it's a... A person's name. A person's name. Yeah, that's the name of the movie. Okay. I'm ready. Go ahead, Eddie. Aaron Brockovich. Son of a... That's it. That's it. Oh, hunting! Malcolm X. JFK. Billy Elliot. Searching for Bobby Fischer. Go ahead, Seth. Now, Ashley will begin. Ashley begins. Movies with a color in the title. Vanilla Sky. That's not a color. Yes, it is. Check the crayon box, bro. I agree.
I think we should give it to her. Okay, fine. We'll give it to her. We'll give it to her. I'm going to go Red Dawn. Yes. My Blue Velvet. Or Blue Velvet. Hunt for Red October. Oh. Um. Um. Red. That's it? She's out. You know what's funny is Reds is a movie, but Red is not. All right. So, that means it's down to me, Eddie. And Boston Rock. I don't like this. I'm nervous now. And I start it, right? Yeah, Rob starts. Knight. Knight Rider. Knight of the Living Dead. Wait, Knight Rider is not a movie. It's not a movie. Is it going to be a movie? It's a TV movie that doesn't count. TV movie. Can you let him start again? That's it. We can let him start again. Go ahead, Rob. Start again. I was scatting, Sky. You should know that. You got it wrong. Yeah, I think you got it wrong. I got it wrong. All right, let's keep going. It's down to me and Eddie. Oh, no! It did! Shake and bake! Come on! Movies with numbers in the title. 28 Days. 300. 16 Candles. The number 23. 28 Days Later. 20... Oh, I thought... Done. That's it! Holy Toledo! I thought you were going to say 21 grand. Oh, wow! That big! I was trying to do...
That's a good one. Holy cow. Wow. Can we keep playing during commercial? I know. That was fun. Now that we figured it out. Now that we know how to play it, it's really fun. P11, you're a winner. Thank you. Hang on the line, buddy. Okay. That's fine. All right. We got to take a break. But when we come back, we got some stuff. When we come back, I am going to play for you a viral video. Love viral videos. This time, it's a TV anchor and a reporter fighting live on the air. Whoa! That's next. The Mikey Show continues. Thank you for being big enough to laugh at yourself this morning. Yeah, I took a wrong turn. I ended up in this used car lot. They won't budge on their price. They don't have any factory-certified Hondas. This is crazy. Is this Rebecca? Yes, it is. I understand that you went to sleep train. Yes, I did. What happened? Well, my husband and I went back last May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector, so it was really cool. And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Curdie Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on Costco. The Sleep Train was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something. So they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? It's awesome. I can't get out of bed in the morning. It's really comfortable. That is good stuff. Thank you. You got it. Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. You guys sound like whining little kids.

Basically, you could be traveling to places around the world, but since all of that is volunteer, it's really your call. So if you say to them, yeah, where do you have programs going on? Where are you doing stuff? And they say, well, we got stuff going on right now in Afghanistan. You interested? Yep, I am. They'll send you over there. But the cool thing is, is that part of the salary that you're working on, you know, you work 40 hours, but if you go over it, they pay you for it. It's pretty cool. And you get paid when you're in the academy. So if you want to know more and you're interested in a career in the Border Patrol, go ahead and go onto this website. It's borderpatrol.gov, B-O-R-D-E-R. P-A-T-R-O-L dot gov. Hey, it's Boston Rob, and my favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day, is right around the corner. Did you know Smittix is Ireland's favorite ale? And to help spread the word in San Diego this St. Patrick's Day, they sent over one of their favorite sons, Barry. Well, he was busy, so they sent me.
I guess we'll make do what we got. Barry, how was the trip over from Ireland? It took Smithix nearly three centuries to reach the States. It took me about seven hours. Now that we're both here, it's going to be the biggest St. Patrick's Day that San Diego has ever seen. Come join the St. Patrick's Day celebrations at the St. Patrick's Day parade events happening Saturday, March 15th. So far, how has it been in San Diego for you? Well, boss and Rob, being from Ireland, I'm impressed how San Diego really, really gets into St. Patrick's Day celebrations. But to celebrate it like we do back home in Ireland, you need to raise a pint of Ireland's favourite ale. And that's Smithix. Correct. You might have seen it when you're out. It looks like Smithwix. It's Smithix. Smittix. We dropped a W. Smithix. Smittix. It's Ireland's favorite ale. Please drink responsibly. Now back to the Mikey Show, featuring Mikey. I really do think of the Hurricanes as sort of celebrities. Eddie. I have a very strong sensitivity to smells. Skye. I don't like stinky cheese. Sean. Pet Shop Boys are one of my favorite groups. Boston Robb.
I was like a shaken puppy. That's a very common terminology. You guys don't use that? Maybe it's an East Coast thing. And Ashley. Mike's show's on. Rock 105.3. 53. Cal Fire is letting people know that they're going to be doing a controlled burn at Corte Madera Ranch today, so smoke will be visible from the eight. Freddie Couples is the leader at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Tiger is five back, which means he's still going to win. We have more clips. of Barack Obama's pastor. Obama. Obama. And our P1 lunch today. Don't forget about it. It's going to be at noon from noon to one. And basically the deal is we're going to be hanging out with you at Joe's Crab Shack. They are located in Mission Valley, Hazard Center, corner of Friars and Frazee. And years ago that used to be a Mexican restaurant. A roommate used to work there, Eddie. Oh, man. Shannon worked there.
We lived on Marjoram. Shannon used to work there. It was upstairs. Hazard Center. I know you're right. I cannot think of it, though. Can't think of what it used to be. Now a billion people are going to call us. Oh, it doesn't exist anymore. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, what was that place? I don't know, but a billion people are going to call us. Ah, ah, and there was one over in Grossmont Center. Yeah. What the heck? Carlos? Carlos? Is there Carlos? Carlos Ra... Did you almost say Carlos Rogers? Yeah, but it's like Carlos. Carlos Mencia. Carlos Mencia's. What is it? It's Carlos. Carlos Murphy's. Carlos Murphy's, I think sounds right. Carlos Junior's. Was it Carlos Junior's? What a great name for a Mexican place. Carlos Junior's. That's right, man. Come down to Carlos Junior's. Mikey's show. Do you remember what it was? Actually, I got a question about the game you guys played earlier. Okay, go ahead. All right, now, who said Vanilla Sky isn't a color? Well, Ashley said Vanilla was... We gave it to her. I said Vanilla wasn't a color, but we gave it to her anyway. I was going to say, if you go to Home Depot and you look at their paint selection, you can find a Vanilla. Yeah, but you can say that about coffee or, you know... Yeah, blueberry. Or clear. It's a color. So is coffee then, right?
Yeah. Okay. Well, then... Well, we gave it to her. Well, we still gave it to her, so I guess... So is Peter Brad, but I don't think... I mean, that's what I... We would have to accept that if that were a movie title. Okay. Mikey Show. Should be. Yeah, dude, it's... I was just calling to let you know, I heard you guys on the radio, it's Carlos Murphy's. Yeah, it was Carlos Murphy's. What happened to that place? I don't know. It went out of business. I guess it went out of business, but they did have a couple, right? Yeah, there was a few of them. That was pretty good, too. Well, part of it was that it's a Mexican and an Irish name, which doesn't make sense to me. Not at all. So already I'm confused. It's like Juan O'Callaghan's. Right. It's like the dropkick Santana's. That's right. That doesn't make any sense, the dropkick Santana's. They make a great corned beef Dorito, though. You know what I'm saying? You want to hear some strange things? Yeah. I'm going to play some strange stuff for you. Better be strange, though. It is. All right. I think this will hit your strange bone. Not in that weird way, though. No, not like you're climbing the rope at gym class. All right, all right. What's going on? You know what I'm saying. I get you. I'm right there with you. So, Barack Obama, a lot of talk today about his pastor. And the talk is, what is up with his pastor? And a lot of people are going, well, what? What did he say? He said this, got 43.
was not a black boy raised in a single parent home. Barack was. Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary can never know that. Hillary ain't never been called a... Finish him. Yeah, I don't know, man. It does sound pretty upset. It's so strange. It's definitely pretty angry. Cut 42. Bill is married to Bill, and Bill have been good to us. No, he ain't. Bill did us just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty. Whoa. What does that mean, Pastor? Oh, you know what it means? I don't. You're riding dirty. You're getting riding dirty. That's a song.
and ride it. That's a song? You can't touch this song. I was with you. Pastor, what is that though? I don't understand. Riding dirty? Yeah. Check it out, baby. Check it out. Oh, that's a song. Oh, I get it, Pastor. I didn't realize. I didn't think you were a 50 fan. 50? 50. Fitty. Is it not fitting? No. Spike the Millionaire. But I will take you to the candy shop. What? Wait a minute, Pastor. I'm P-I-M-P. Pastor, did you just say you're P-I-M-P? You know it. That's ridiculous. That spells pimp. It's your birthday. That's weird. It's weird. It's really weird. Wait a minute. Pastor. Yo. Are you now telling me that your theology is shemillionaire? Is that what you're trying to tell me right now? I'm just saying parents just don't understand. That's a strange message, though, don't you think? I kind of like it. Are you down with OPP? This isn't even his sermon. He's just ripping stuff off. It takes two to mine. He did.
I have heard that. What else you've heard? It's tricky. Amen. Amen. Well, I'll tell you what, Pastor. That is some wacky stuff you're talking about. So, Pastor, you're telling me this is a song that you bump? Is that what you're saying? This is what he does to us. This whole sermon is based on those rap songs. I'm in. Finally found a church you like, Ashley. Every Monday I will be there. There you go. Cut 40. Wait, Pastor, no Snoop Dogg? You don't have any Snoop Dogg? I said drop it like it's hot. Oh, that's true. That is true. I forgot you said that. That's right.
But you did. You said, drop it like it's hot. Because we're bringing sexy back. That's true. That's what we're doing here. What, and CNC music? Any of that? You got any CNC? Come on. I'm sorry, Pastor. I'm sorry. That's offensive. That is offensive. That's the devil talk. That is true. That is true. So, Sky had a story the other day about this woman that didn't want to leave the bathroom. Now, you're saying, okay, for how long? An hour, two hours, three hours? What's a long time in the bathroom? What do you think... At what point, Ashley, may I ask you, at what point does being in the bathroom become ridiculous? How long you've been in there? And now it's ridiculous. That's just ridiculous. I would say an hour is extreme. Well, you guys remember the time we went to Cancun. Oh, my God. I was in there. I don't remember. You were ill. Probably four hours. Okay. I'm not joking. I'm not joking. You were ill. Wow. The Montezumas. I had the Montezuma. Yeah. I had the Montezuma. All right. Boston Rob, how long is somebody in the bathroom when it becomes absolutely, okay, that's ridiculous. Get out of there. 20 minutes. Really? What? What takes longer than 20 minutes? What if they're sick? You ever been to TJ? No.
Actually, I did. I had that Aztec warrior. I mean, well, it depends what kind of day. During the day, 20 minutes. Get out of there. At night, I can see if you're sick. After a long night of drinking, maybe an hour. Let's say you're sick. Eddie said four hours. No joke. He's not joking. He's in there four hours. Okay, if you're sick, an hour. After that, phone a friend. Let him know that you're hurting. What about you, Sean? What's a real long time? Yeah, I would say like an hour, you know. Well, this lady was in there two years. Oh, no, that's not true. I'm not kidding. You're lying. Yeah, that's a good one, Mike. She was in the bathroom for two years. And listen, she had some kind of issue. She had some thing. And so her boyfriend said, okay, she's got some kind of mental problem or whatever. I'll help her out. He figured that out after, what, six months? Yes. I mean. After a certain amount of time, she told, I'm afraid, you know, I don't want to do. Like something's wrong with her. Yeah. Well, something was really wrong with her because what happened was. You done with that paper yet? Yes. She was, she was sitting on the toilet the whole time. She became stuck. What do you mean? Well, her body grew to the toilet. Shut up. I'm not kidding. Stop it. It's not funny. You guys, I'm not kidding. This is on the new X-Men trailer, right? No, I'm not kidding you.
That's really gross. You guys want to hear the story? No. From K-A-K-E the cake. K-A-K-E TV in Wichita. Breaking news from the cake. And if this ain't the frosting on the cake. This is her boyfriend. His name is Corey McFerrin. And here's the story from that TV station. Cut 39. A woman taken to a Wichita hospital after she's stuck on her boyfriend's toilet for two years. Tonight, the boyfriend speaks only to Cake. Cake's Elise Molson. Well, Jeff, imagine being so terrified you could not even leave the confines of your own bathroom. This kind of tears what one Ness City man says kept his girlfriend on the toilet for two years. 35-year-old Pam Babcock is now in a Wichita hospital fighting off an infection she received after her skin became bonded to her boyfriend's toilet. What's interesting is, is she's now got an infection from getting off of it. She, from all signs, she actually was living. Well, her legs looked like they had atrophied.
What? So she just sat there and never got up. Never got up. Well, he said in the beginning he would like bring her clothes and she would shower and he'd bring her food and stuff. But towards the end, yeah, she just sat there. Well, she did sat there. We don't know that she wanted to. Is that what's in question? I don't know. No, no. She did want to? Well, yeah, she wanted to. She wanted to. He kept every day he said he would ask her. You want to go? Can you please? Do you want to come out today? Yeah. No. It was some mental thing when she was a child, some abuse and being kept inside for a long time. What made him after two years finally think that there was something to call the police about? Well, and that's why actually local officials in the area are trying to determine if they can charge him with anything because they're like, why did it take you two years to seek help for this woman? So they're trying to figure out if he did anything wrong, if there's neglect issues. That is nuts. They're trying to figure it out right now. What's even crazier is that... She didn't get the infection, obviously, until she got it. So she was just sitting there and it was obviously, this guy's right, her legs had atrophied. What does that mean? It means they stop living, right? Yeah, because you know how when you can sit too long and you start to get the pins and needles in the leg because the blood flow? Yeah, two years. So what I'm wondering is that it sounds like she was functioning. She was functioning.
this way and potentially could have gone on functioning. Oh, yeah, because, like, her boyfriend would be like, yeah, can you come out today? She'd go, well, you know what, maybe tomorrow. Maybe I'll think about coming out tomorrow. So she could have potentially continued to function in this manner, you know, until something else were to kill her or whatever. Yeah, because he was bringing her food and water. He was bringing her food and water. Unpause. Boyfriend's toilet. We had to break... the toilet seat away from the stool and take her in with the toilet seat stuck to her. Ness County Sheriff Brian Whipple says on February 27th, Babcock's boyfriend called saying there was something wrong with his girlfriend. When emergency personnel arrived, they found Babcock stuck on the seat.
suffering from muscle atrophy and a severe infection that had cut through her skin, muscle, and nerves. Babcock's boyfriend of 16 years, Corey McFerrin, says every day he tried convincing Babcock to leave the bathroom, but fear overtook her every time. She has a fear of coming out. Most of her fear from coming out is her relatives. She don't want to see him. She's afraid if she comes out, she will see him. Babcock was transported to a local hospital and then sent on to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, where she is in fair condition. McFerrin says Babcock will need mental health, physical therapy, and may be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Of course. I told her whether she walks or rolls out of that hospital, she's going to be home with me and I'm going to take care of her. Now, Ness County Sheriff Ryan Whipple says it's a good possibility charges may be filed against McFerrin. So the guy that did Don't Worry, Be Happy, his girlfriend. Yes, which is even crazier. It's ironic. It is. How ironic that, you know. If you think about it. Because, I mean, the whole message of the song is don't worry, be happy. Right. He came up with it trying to coax her out of the bathroom. That's what you would think. He was like, don't worry. Just be happy. Come on out. Yeah. Well, we will see what's going to happen to this dude. Who knows? Yep. Wow. All we do know for sure is that is one of the craziest stories we've heard in a long time. Oh, yeah. Mike, maybe if someone sang her the sit song, that would have made her, you know what I mean? Let me see it. Hang on.
To make her, like, want her to get up and sit on someone's head. Makes It Happen files. It was a Saturday afternoon, and Kim was on the hunt. Hunt? Well, I was trying to find a 2008 Toyota Corolla S. By the way, if you want to text us, please do. We would love to have you text us at 35253. If you're not in the P1 text army, just text Mikey to 35253. And you can get in on it. What do you suppose Rob does right now? that his fiance thinks is cute that she will not think is cute after they're married. There's probably a ton. Because Rob's getting married. Rob is 25. And I have to tell you, and I mean this with the most sincerest, the sincerest heart, I can tell you, one of the most likable guys I've ever met in my life. It's hard to not like Rob. There's times that I don't.
Yesterday was one of those times. But what do you say, Eddie? If you meet this guy, and you just talk to him a little bit, you can kind of recognize he's a good guy. I could tell you a couple things, and they have to do with baseball and football. But I thought she's really into baseball, too. She is, but dude, I'm weird. Superstitious-wise? Yeah, I make her pick out... my jerseys for that day or that game or that week because I get this thing in my head where, you know, certain jerseys represent certain games to me and all this. So when I get in like a battle in my head and conflict, I have to break down why this jersey, why that jersey, then get her opinion on it. And I mean, I could tell she doesn't care. Do you blame her? Do you blame her if it goes wrong? No, I won't do that. Does she kind of think it's cute? But hold on. Last year. during, I forget which game it was, the Sox were on, and she called me, and she wasn't really paying attention to the game, didn't really know too much of what was going on, and said, oh, we had already lost. And we hadn't. And she was looking at, like, a previous score, and, dude, we got in, like, a couple days of, like, a tiff. Wait, what? A fight over it, because I...
kind of held it against her. Oh, dude. And I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to. And I apologized, you know, and I told her after that. I sacked up and I said, you know, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come at you like that. It's just there are certain things with me when it comes to baseball. Like, she knows she can't say certain things around me. Like, I'm very particular. And I can't hear it. And I know that over the years is going to drive her nuts because it's already starting to. The number one source of arguments with couples is usually money. We ain't got none, so we did. So it's easy, right? But I will tell you this. A thing that couples will get into tiffs over is the fact that they're particular. You got a particular way you like something. Who would be like that? I mean, that just sounds silly, if we're being honest. Well, now here's... Eddie's making a joke because he's very particular, but all of us, all of us... I mean, everybody listening right now, we're actually, we can all be pretty particular. Now, Rob, is there anything that your fiancé does right now that you think is really cute and adorable? Yeah, there's a couple things. Like? Her road rage. She has road rage that is...
Worse than me. And you're saying that this tickles and delights you. I love it. I love it. Usually when chicks get all upset and start yelling at people, it makes me a little uncomfortable. Can I ask you something? Yeah. Does your mom do this? Dude, your wife hung out with my mom. My mom hangs out the window flipping people off. You see how my thinking goes? Yeah, of course. I grew up with that. Cussing out people next year and letting them know how you feel. But she does that and I love it. I will make a prediction. I'm going to predict that when you get married, and I won't say any amount of time in particular, because I don't know, it could be two days, it could be two years. But at some point, that may not be quite as funny as it is now. That's all I'm saying. Really? Not as cute. Maybe, maybe. Because in couples' relationships, this happens. Now, my wife knows this one. She already knows this, so when I say it, it's not going to come as any surprise to her. And I'll tell you, I drew a very lucky straw when I drew my wife. She's fantastic. She really is. I love my wife. But she did something that I thought was so cute. What? Oh, I thought it was so cute. And now, I'm telling you, it makes me batty. Now, I can live with it. And all of these examples that we're giving are things that are easily livable. They're just those things that... Right.
Make you go, ugh. Things that make you go, hmm. Well, these are actually things that make you go, ugh. Different song. Different song. All right. And what it is is that when we go places, and it doesn't matter where it is, when we go to a restaurant or when we go to Skies or when we go anywhere, I used to think it was really cute when we parked, I would. get out of the car and i would immediately be out of the car and i would look and there's rebecca just starting to get out of the car and she's like getting her purse and she's kind of like and i'm waiting to hit the alarm and i used to think that's i wonder what she's doing that is so cute what is she up to that little rascal what is she doing
And there she'd be. She'd be putting something in her purse at the last minute or she'd be grabbing something to put in there and just kind of taking a little bit of time. Baking cupcakes or something. Whatever it was, it was adorable. And situated. Now, we've been married now for just over three years. Now, when we park and I'm ready to hit that alarm button on the car, I am waiting, you know. And I'm thinking to myself, well, you know, we're... Getting a little late here. I don't know what she's getting. Sometimes what I'll do is I will... Lock her in there? No, no, no. You're close though. You're close. Sometimes what I will do is I will think she's out of the car and close the door and I'll hit the alarm button and it goes, woo! And I go, oh, she hadn't closed the door yet. That's because she hasn't got it. And I ask her, I say, honey, what are you doing? And of course, as wives or husbands, what we do is we go, I'm kidding.
I'm getting something. I'm getting a haircut. What do you think I'm doing here? What do you mean? You're in the car. But usually it's like, are you, what? Can you give me a minute? Can you get, like, really? I'm getting something. Is it okay? Now, if we were to open this up to her and say, what was so cute about Mike? Wasn't that so cute when you guys were dating? How cute is that you? I'm telling you, we all have the thing. You guys have anything? Sky? Nope. I plead the fifth. Oh, come on. Come on. What was cute? He's still kind of a newlywed. Yeah, everything's cute. We're freshly married. Gosh, I love everything. She's perfect. Hey, listen. Fine, I'll say something. Come on. What do you got, Eddie? Now, it's got to be something that's very, you know, it can't be something that's, you know. I don't know. What's the... Innocuous. That's what I'm looking... I'm looking for something innocuous. It's got to be something that's... It's no big whoop. I didn't think you would say anything that's not big whoop, but... What I'm... You know, I'm not saying... Well, she used to like to murder people. Yeah. Now I'm annoyed with it. The basement's fault. Yeah, I used to have to clean up, and I didn't mind. No. It's her yawn. Oh, wow. Her yawn. What? Listen.
How does she yawn? Well, she does this thing where she makes like this little noise after she yawns. Yeah. Which I used to think was real cute and adorable. How does she do it? Let me see if I can even attempt to do it. All I know is when you do it, we're all going to yawn. Give it a go. They're contagious. And then she'll go. That's cute. It's kind of like a yawn stretch. But when you hear it like a thousand times, like after the thousandth time, I'm like, okay, here comes the noise. Great, there it is. There's the noise. I think she puts on the noise. I don't think it's like a real thing. I think she does it for my enjoyment. Now she's going to do it 50 times worse. She'll recognize that I don't find it cute anymore. Now she knows. It's going to be 50 times worse. Yeah. Skye, you got one that the boo does? Yeah. Well, you know, I'm kind of the veteran as far as being married here on the show. So we've been married about seven and a half years. And still kicking, by the way. Thank you. So I've actually kind of come full circle with my thing. Mm-hmm.
So it started out, my husband is a perfectionist. I don't care what you're doing. It has to be done the most efficient way. If you're hanging the tiniest little picture, you've got to get out the stud finder. You've got to get out the level. You've got to stand back and look at it, reevaluate it, maybe draw a diagram of it. This is how he goes about everything he does. I thought that was just awesome. Like, oh my gosh, a man who has such attention to detail, and this is great, and oh, it's so wonderful. And then a couple years into the marriage, it would enrage me. Like, dude, can't we just slap the thing up on the wall, please? We have 80 million of these to hang. And now I've come full circle to the point where it makes me laugh inside like a crazy person. You've been desensitized. Well, I laugh at it, but not because I think it's funny and cute. But I laugh like crazy person laughs because I would go crazy if I let myself get upset every time. So I have this little crazy person laugh and I just smile and go, okay. 570-1053. What used to be cute? And you can text us too at 35253. See, my stuff is stuff that I don't know that, or rather, Rebecca's stuff, if she were saying it about me, I don't think it's stuff she ever thought was cute.
My clothes drive her nuts. My socks on the floor drive her nuts. And I don't blame her. So I really try to like, okay, I can't do that anymore. I got to pick those socks up. But I can't, I mean, for guys, that's like a big guy thing. Like, you know, guys, we're used to living as bachelors. We put our socks on the girls. You know, some guys are real good about picking them up. But a lot of us guys, we leave them on the floor. So that was definitely. one that she could say. But I know I have these little idiosyncrasies. Call her and ask her, Ash, what was cute and what's not anymore. What about Obig? Yeah, Obig, you got any? What was cute? Well, I do have one thing that, like Sky, has kind of come full circle. When my wife and I first got married, she's like a very active person, and I'd like to just lay around and not do much. And so at night, we would watch television, and she would be like all over the house. Cleaning, walking, doing dishes, whatever. And at first it was like, oh, it's nice. The place is real clean. It's real great. And then after a while, it was like, oh, boy. She's always moving. Like, always moving. And now, I do it at night. Really? Like, I stand up and watch TV. I walk around. I'm going here. I'm going there. Can't sit still now. Wow. Yeah. We're getting lots of calls. Do you know yourself?
Does it annoy you when you do it? It's just a question. It's just a question. I thought it was fair. My darling wife is on the line. Hello, honey. How are you? Honey, what used to be cute and now is not so cute? Oh, I know exactly. What is it? When we were dating, you used to always say this one particular joke that I thought was really, really cute. It's Eddie's joke. I know what this is. This is Eddie's joke. Is it Eddie's joke? Mm-hmm. Well, whenever, like, you would say, hey, do you want to watch this movie or whatever? I would say, well, what's it about? And he'd go, oh, it's about two hours. That's a good one. It's still funny. It's still a funny joke. And when we were dating, I always thought, like, oh, you got me. I thought it was so cute. And now when you do it, I'm just like, oh.
Just tell me. What is it about? Well, the way that you make this work is each time I have to say it as if she's never heard the joke before. Yeah, it's good. It works every time. Oh, it's so annoying. You think you would catch on. It's a good one. It really is a good one. So that's mine. All right, honey. I love you. Love you, too. P1 Scott. Hey, Mikey. What's your lady do? So whenever she gets really cold, or not even that cold, like kind of cold, shivers really loud, and I thought it was so cute at first. But, like, she does this thing where she goes... I thought it was really cute at first, but after about three months of it, it got on my nerves. Every single time, she got just a little bit cold. That's hysterical. That is hysterical. That is awesome. Thank you. Loud shiver. You loud shiver. Hey, how's it sounding, Rob? Pretty good, huh, buddy? I can't wait. I'm excited. I'm so in love with my fiance. There is stuff that, you know, my wife did not have brothers. Do any of you guys know, anybody here on the show related to anybody that didn't grow up with any guys? Anybody? Because Rebecca's the first person I've known. Does your fiance have brothers? Yeah.
And Skye's got a brother, and Ashley's got a brother, and Kate, do you have a brother? So everybody here has grown up with guys. But, okay, ask yourself, ladies, if you're listening, that only grew up with sisters, okay? My wife did not have any brothers. She's an only child, so she didn't know some stuff. My wife is 32 years old. And in 32 years, she did not know. And many of you ladies that are listening right now, maybe some of you ladies that... listening or that have brothers didn't know this either. After a guy pees, sometimes he shivers. They call it the pee shiver. You know what I'm talking about today? The Jimmy Shake. Yeah, the Jimmy Shake. And Jake will sometimes do this. And I do it every time, almost. And Rebecca goes, what is that? And I go, what's the pee shiver? And she goes, what is that? And I go, Now that I'm thinking about it, I didn't realize girls didn't do it. Girls don't do that, right? No. But every guy knows what I'm talking about. If they do, it's probably not a girl, guys, and stay away from her. That's right, man. That's the truth. But every guy knows what I'm talking about. Every girl. Skye, did you know about the pea shiver? No. You didn't know about it? No. How about you, Kate?
You thought it was more of a shake? Yeah, I thought there was like a cleansing shake. Oh, no, there's that. There's that. But there's also like the... I thought it was like a fist bump, Mike. Guys know what I'm talking about. Well, with my husbands, it's an earthquake. Mikey's show continues on The Rock. We'll be right back.

You know what I thought we might do for a little special added bonus that we don't ever, ever do? What? I thought, what if we were to throw one of B-Rob's parody songs of the year?
Please, please. I was thinking about it the other day. I got a suggestion. I already have one picked out, buddy. Oh, gee. But if I don't play the one that you want, then maybe we could go back. But I was just thinking about this the other day. I was going, man, we don't hear a lot of B-Rob's classic stuff. People that are new listening to the show, they may not know some of B-Rob's classic stuff. I was just a young buck coming up. That's right. Boston Rob, as you know, is... Well, he is a 25-year-old guy. He does parody songs for the show. He's engaged, but there was a time when he was not engaged, and he was a young man, and he was just trying to find love, but he didn't have any game. That is true. He had, in fact, lost all his games. Wow. Good choice, man. Me, me, me, me, me. Okay. Got my singing pants on. This guy's sewing key. My nickname around the studio is Locksmith. He's only got one pair of pants. Let me show Mr. Craig Guess how you do impersonations. So it's not hard to figure out which pair that was. Lost on game. Been the same. Can't seal the deal. Ron just went, oh yeah. This is stuff. T-Shark. So good. There it is. Wow. You know what we should hit before the end of the show is the...
Aunt Jemima one. He really likes that. Oh, dude, I love that. Why does he love that Aunt Jemima one? I want to make a video on YouTube and just me eating pancakes. Why don't you do it? They're a lot of talk. I ain't got a video. Yes. Hey, Aunt Jemima, you go so great on my pancakes, and I really like how you taste, and the lady from the Land O'Lakes likes you, too. All right. It's a party on my plate for you. Your headband, too. Ha, ha, ha. Hey Aunt Jemima, on my flapjacks you do drizzle that cop goodness. So for shizzle, you're my nizzle, yes you are. You make great body shots at the bar. Is that bizarre? You don't even know the words. It's the live version, a lot of artists do that. They go from overseas. Overseas. Hey Aunt Jemima, nectar from the maple god's wicked.
You're delicious and I just can't believe that you come from Log's Wicked Bazaar. Your savory serum can heal scars. Wicked Bazaar. Pretty. It is so pretty. I gotta do a video. Dude, please get freaking sweet. Now they're all sticky on my feet. That's a really strange ending. What is a strange ending to this song? No, let down. The ending doesn't make sense. sense. It's like, you know, No Country for Old Men. It's an artistic ending. How would you guys like to hear this clip? This is from Larry King Live. Now, the governor of New York got busted for hooking up with this prostitute named Kristen. I have audio here of her ex-pimp. Oh my gosh. Jason Itzler. Cut one. How well did she do?
No. She was spectacular. In my opinion, she was the hottest, sexiest escort New York Confidential ever had. Natalia was the best escort the world has ever had. For the category of sexy and hot, this girl took the cake. This is the ultimate girl next door. She certainly was at 19. I haven't hung out with her in the last three years. Spent my time on Rikers Island. Oh, really? I've been a little busy. Rikers. I've been tied up. Uh, This is him talking about how he's happy that she did this. Cut two. The way that I look at it a little bit is that Spitzer was the attorney general who took down seven or eight escort agencies. Mine being one of them. Mine maybe being one of the more well-known. After Spitzer took down these escort agencies, in a weird way, I'm watching the story. I'm thinking he's a hypocrite. I'm thinking it's kind of funny. And all of a sudden, you know, one of the main people that he took down, my girl is the girl that took him down. So it's kind of like, that's my girl. It's a little crazy. I don't wish harm on him or anything, but. You don't? No, of course not. But theoretically, and, you know, a guy that enjoys reading a good book, what a cool story. How funny it is. You know, karma, what goes around does come around. Karma. Spitzracted like a bit of a hypocrite or, you know, I'm the king of all kinds. He was the king of all hypocrites.
There it is. And finally, this is Larry asking a former escort from that company that that guy's talking about, New York Confidential. He's talking to an escort named Natalie McClellan, and he's asking her about being a prostitute. Cut three. Because someone is physically beautiful, does that mean they would be a good prostitute? No, I don't think so. I don't think so at all. I think the escort industry, for the most part, is about being free-spirited. What? It's about wanting to sort of take risks a little bit and have fun. But at the same time, it's about connecting with people. It is? Is it also about being a whore? But I really do think that it's about connecting with people. Really? So it's like Facebook? Through your genitalia. Yes. Really? I thought it was about sex for money. Yes.
Funny, I always thought prostitution was about intercourse for cash. Oh, my gosh. What a strange take. You know, super degrading for women? Yeah. Yeah, but obviously, if you are an escort, I mean, you have to justify it to yourself some way. You're not going to go, no, it's about me being a super big whore. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, it's so interesting. Exactly that point, Sky, was being made last night by a psychologist that was on O'Reilly, Bill O'Reilly's show. She said exactly that. You know, what are you going to do? You have to justify it somehow. Yeah. Because, well. Here's the deal. Women that are really happy probably don't go into the business. They go in it because they're desperate or whatever or maybe because of abuse or whatever. And the tough part is it must be an extraordinarily hard lifestyle to get out of. It's got to be a hard lifestyle to get out of because...
But unfortunately, there's a feeling of I'm not worthy and all that stuff and you are. Plus, it's easy money, non-taxed money. I mean, you know. That's too bad because the deal is that you are worthy and you're not worthless and you're not all those things that unfortunately doing it makes you think you are but you're not. It's just too bad. Now, what would it take for a dude to go on Good Morning America? Because he's a friend of Ashley Dupree. You know, Kristen. Well, wait a minute. By friend, I mean, he was in Greece with her in the third grade. Come on. No way. Cut six. Ew. We did the third grade play together. She played Sandy in Greece opposite. I played Danny and we had a lot of fun.
Bill Coyne went to elementary and high school with Kristen slash Ashley. Such a sweet, sweet person, a really kind spirit. I never would have thought that she would have been involved in anything like this. She was eight years old. You idiot. It would have been better if he said he definitely saw this in her future. You know, at the age of eight, I can definitely see her. I'm not surprised at all. I was headed that direction. Yep. In fact, we all used to tell her that. You know, because that's what we saw. It was definitely. Over and over. Over and over. We just said, you know, pull your pampas up. Jeez. Too far. So you guys want to hear the anchor and the reporter fighting? Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. So now this has been out there for a while, but for whatever reason, some stuff makes a comeback. And this is one of those deals that's making a comeback right now in terms of viral videos. News anchor at Fox 5 New York, which I got a tape for you guys sometime. We get the East Coast feeds. Oh, that's right. And that Fox 5 New York is something else. Really? What do you mean by that? It's so different from watching the news out here in California. And I don't know, Rob, if it was like this in Boston. Oh, I missed the...
Boston News. Oh, it's so different. It's because it's such a gigantic city. Yeah. And because the culture is so different there, the reporters will be like standing in front of a place and they'll be like, what is happening here right now is just unbelievable. Like they're like. Oh my gosh. Extra dramatic. Oh, dude, they're so dramatic and so like. Whereas here, it's very serious. And it's very like, well, we're standing in front of the building right now. And as you can see behind me, not New York. No. We are here right now. And let me tell you something. The people are upset. That's like the reporters. And you're like, whoa, man. It trips you out. But anyway, this is from Fox 5. There's a news anchor and the reporter getting into it. Cut 37. I'm so. Well, it's been... being worked on for many, many, many weeks already, and there's nobody on overtime, there's nobody working on the weekends. There's a lot that could be done to have this done a lot sooner. Is this 37? I'm here every day. Well, she lives on the first floor, and so, I mean, I don't see... I care about my other neighbors. Well, I mean, so, I mean, it's scheduled. It's a contracted job. We don't tell the elevator company when to work their people.
They've submitted a schedule to us. They said they could do the elevator. Pause. I don't think that's it. That can't be it. I don't know. But, Shawnee, that's what you have labeled as 37? Yeah. We'll find it. Don't worry. We'll find it. We'll come back to it. Yeah, I'll double check it. We'll come back to it. In the meantime, something that I've been meaning to ask you guys here in the studio is that last television program on the air called Lost. You can say that again, man. Talk about it. Well, guys, I want to know from you, what's the best, Saeed and Desmond talking to the captain of the boat, Saeed and Desmond running into Michael on the boat, or the promo for next week's show promising someone will die? I would say the Saeed, Desmond running into Michael. They don't have the craziest one on there. Cut 35. Kevin, this is... That's my Saeed. Desmond.
Kevin Johnson. Nice to meet you, Kevin. They all recognize him, but they're being introduced to him as Kevin Johnson, and you see in Saeed's eyes and in Michael's eyes, like, am I supposed to pretend right now that I don't know you? And so he plays along, and you know, so it's awesome. Because there's shady weird people on this boat. Like last night on the boat, some lady who had kind of been doing weird stuff on the boat. You know who it is, Mike? The chick that was on the roof on Death Proof, Zoe Bell. Oh, get out of here. She was on the show. Really? Yeah, it was weird. Who is she? She had a really small part, and I don't know if she's gone already. Yeah, she may come back. You never know. It was really weird. She wrapped herself in chains and jumped off the boat and killed herself. Holy cow. To me, I don't know if she's really gone or not. What was the craziest part of the show last night?
Throughout the show, you're watching what you think is Jin and Sun's fast-forward. Instead of a flashback, they're flash-forward. And so you kind of find out that they're the last two of the Oceanic Six. Or at least you think you do. And Sun is full-on pregnant, getting ready to give birth. And she's rushed to the hospital, and they're asking her, like, do you want us to contact anyone? And she's going through crazy labor. And she's like, just my husband, just my husband, Jin. And in a separate thing going on, you're seeing Jin run around trying to find a stuffed panda bear. And he knows, like, he's rushing. And he's like, you know, you're thinking, like, oh, he's got to get to the hospital because son's going to give birth. Okay. He wants to find a toy for the baby. That's what you're thinking. Yeah, of course. At the very end, Sun gives birth and Jyn never showed up. And you're like, what's going on? This is really weird. And all of a sudden, Hurley shows up. And Hurley's like, you know, oh, this is your baby. This is awesome. Well, do you think we should go see Jyn? And Sun's like, yeah, we probably should. So then they're at the cemetery. What? And they go see Jyn's grave. Yeah. So what the deal was, and this probably confused a lot of people, is that it was Sun's flash forward.
And Jin's flashback. And the flashback with Jin, he wasn't rushing to the hospital to see son. He was rushing to the hospital to do like a task. Like a business errand. Like a business errand. And it all kind of makes sense if you watch the episode. But it was Jin's flashback that we were watching. And you were supposed to think it was his flash forward. Right. But apparently Jin's dead. Holy cow. So it was crazy. Dude. It was nuts. It was crazy. It was nuts. Lost is great. Yeah. How do they come up with this stuff? I'm like, dude. Oh, so good. They're real good at what they do, man. They're really, really good at what they do. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, how are you? Good, good. You're very lost excited, aren't you? Oh, my gosh, yeah. But more than that, I wanted to tell you guys, like, I used to be a high-class escort. So I wanted to see if you wanted to. Yeah, I want to talk to you. Interesting. How did you get out of it? Okay, well, by the grace of God, I just started to pray and ask God to get me out. And it took like a year. How long were you doing it? Probably like three, four years, solid. You know what? Here's what I'm going to do. I get my testimony at the end of the show. I'm going to put you on hold. We'll talk to you at the end of the show. Is that cool? Yes. Hang on the line. Hang on the line. Interesting. Wow. Girl was a high-priced escort. Don't go away.
Obviously, we got some heavy stuff coming up. But also, Kate Beckinsale. I don't know who Kate Beckinsale is. She just was going to tell people about how the night she was getting ready for the SAG Awards, her cat caught on fire. So when we come back... What? Perfect. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So when you come back, we'll play that audio. That's right. Here we go. We'll do it when we get back. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people will pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Well, welcome back. Just want to let you know you can text message us if you'd like. Our text number 35253. We call it the Mikey Show P1 Text Army. And if you are not already in it, You can get in it by texting the word Mikey to 35253. Also want to let you know, in less than two hours. Oh my gosh. What? In less than two hours. Yeah. We're going to be at Joe's Crab Shack. Yes. Well, Rob said, I don't know if this is official or not. Okay. But Rob did say to me that he felt bad because he only let Madden pick his defenses. That he would dress up for me. So I really appreciate that, Rob. And I accept because I didn't think that was a little cheese ball. What a giving off... Whatever. You know what I meant. Some text messages we're getting. Hey, Mike. Now listeners are calling me that. It's great. It's your name.
Says, hey, Mike, my girl used to whine and it was very baby talk whine. And after three years, it's just annoying. It's P1JM. Tell her that. She'll love it. No. It'll strengthen your marriage. Totally. Mikey, my girl used to force feed me. At first it was cute. Now it's just tiring. What the heck? What does that mean? My guess is, oh, come on. You need to eat. You need to eat. Stop. Come on. Oh, like that crap you guys do to me. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Exact same thing. Where we want you to try normal food. You mean that? Stupid food. Mikey, my wife, completely trashes the inside of her cars with food, clothes, miscellaneous, sticky junk. I hate that. I hate that. Used to be cute. Now it's just a mess. Signed P1LJ. It was cute at one point. Yeah, how could that ever be? How could it be cute? Yeah. Maybe it was a novelty, like a chick that used to do that. We're used to seeing guys do it, but when it was a chick doing it, it's kind of funny. I've never seen a chick do that. Dude, I remember once in San Jose, Sean had to go on a... Because Sean does the web, and so sometimes he has to go on appointments with salespeople. I forget who it was, Sean, but you had to go on a sales call with somebody's car that was like a junkyard inside. Dude, it was the worst thing I'd ever seen. The worst. Sean came back to the office and was so...
So upset. A guy or a girl? I believe it was a dude. Yeah, I think it was a dude. I've been in a lot of those cars, so I can eliminate people. I know it wasn't Conlon. He had a nice car. You know who I think it was? Real quick. Yeah. One of the funniest things ever. Driving with Harry Conlon and Rich. What was Rich's last name? The guy that wore the glasses? Oh. The guy who used to roll his shoulder. He had a nervous tick. His shoulder. He was from Chicago on his shoulder. Right. He had this nervous tick where his shoulder used to do this thing. Con, Rich Con. Yeah, Rich Con. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rich Con knew Harry Conlon for like 20, 30 years. He knew him forever, okay? Okay. So one day we're all going to lunch. I'm sitting in the back seat and Rich Con's sitting in the passenger seat. Harry Conlon's driving. Harry Conlon, I don't know, he's like 75 years old. He really was. Aw, he's cute. He drove a Toyota Avalon.
I'm in a back seat and Rich Conn goes, what the hell is it? He said, actually, other words. I can't use them. He goes, what is this car? Where did you get this? Connley goes, what do you mean? Where did you get this? How long have you been driving this? I don't know, about three months. What is this, a fag car I've never seen? What is this, an Avalon? What are you driving over here? What are you driving? What is this you're driving with this? I laughed so hard I may have gone number one a little bit. Ew. Well, no, no, no. I laughed so hard. I laughed so hard. That's one of those cute things you do that's annoying. Yes. Now it's annoying. Yeah. Who would have had that? It wasn't Harry Conlon. Was it Mud? No, no. It was Dave Woolman. Oh. Oh. Guy had a ponytail. What do you expect? It was like an asshole. He had a gray hair ponytail. Sean came back to work and still had to be at work for like another four hours or so. And all he wanted to do was go home and shower. I couldn't work. Yeah, he was like so upset beside himself. Really? Yeah, I was trying to like talk him off the ledge. Like, it's cool. You're back in a safe environment now. It didn't help. Yeah, that's grody. A couple more. Well, we got one more. Okay. Text message. Mikey, my girl hiccups and then makes this.
Hmm. I love it. He says, it sounds like SpongeBob's laugh. Wow. Oh, my gosh. He says, at first, funny. Now and at 3 a.m., not so much. P1J9. I would love... J9, call in and tell us what that sounds like. Oh, yeah. I so want to know what that sounds like because I don't know what SpongeBob's laugh sounds like. You don't? I do not. Weird. I do not, but I would love to hear it. I will. That's true. That is very true. All right, so we got this audio all figured out now. So it's the anchor and the reporter arguing. Cut 37. And I should explain one thing. Just that he was interviewing two people, a man and a woman, and at the interview, both of them walk away. Okay. And then the anchor asks him about something. I've got to go now. I want to thank you both. Thank you. All right, let's back to you, Jim. Holly, don't let her go away. Does she have a response to that? Is she still there?
What's that? Did the lady just leave? Yeah. Oh, that's too bad. You should have kept that discussion. She's back if you want her. Yes. She heard you. Yes. What did you like to know? I'd like to know a response to what the gentleman said. The gentleman's a very effective spokesperson for the company, but obviously the people who live there are not satisfied with his explanation. Right. So what do you want now? Well, if I have to teach you how to be a reporter, Ollie, I'll do that later. Why don't you do that later, Jim? I think the lady expressed herself. And you're not here, you're there. Is there any question you'd like me to ask her? No, I'll give you lessons on how to become a reporter. I'll give you some lessons on how to be an editor, because I was your boss once. Yes, you were, and are no longer. How did that happen? Here's Ernabel DeMillo. Hey, good morning, Jim. Dude. Now that went well. Yeah. I guess when you get over like 60 years old, you just don't care. Yeah. Damn. Yeah. Oh, well, I guess we found a couple of things out here in this clip. Yeah. You know, I guess. Whoa. Found out, man, the resume was, and we used to work for you. They went to lunch after that? Yeah. Sounds like they were best friends when they used to work together. Yeah. Yeah. Well, if I have to come down there and teach you how to be a reporter, then perhaps. Oh, really? Well, I have to come teach you how to be an editor. Oh, because I was your editor. Well, I know you. You're not anymore, though, are you?
I wonder how that happens. Yeah, why don't you tell everybody? Oh, man. That's a crazy clip. That's awesome. I'm going to YouTube that. I want to see that. I want that to be my cell phone ring. My ringtone. Sky, what movies are coming out this weekend? Okay, well, the big one is Horton Hears a Who. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Before we do, we got the girl on the phone. I guess it's either a guy or a girl. Yeah, it's a girl that said, where's that text? I thought it was saying his girlfriend. Kit Kat, are you there? P1 Kit Kat? Yep. So that was you that texted? No, it was my roommate, Janine. Oh, okay. Well, where's Janine? She's at work. Okay, now Janine, here it is. Janine said, my girl hiccups and then makes this hmm that sounds like SpongeBob's laugh. Yep. Okay, so that's you?
Yep. Oh, okay. And it's your girlfriend Janine? Yeah, she's my roommate. Oh, she's your roommate. Okay. And so what's the deal? What is this SpongeBob laugh? What does that sound like? It's, I don't know. My cousin says it sounds like it just exhausts me. It's one of those hmm kind of things. And I hiccup one or two times every hour on the hour. And I've been doing it for the last three years. You hiccup every hour on the hour? Pretty much. At a specific time? No, it just happens all throughout the day, and sometimes I'll get it where it's one or two times, and then sometimes it'll go for like 23 times straight. Why? I don't know. Did you go to the doctor? Yeah, she says it's kind of normal. Normal? Totally. We all do that. Yeah. I want to get a second opinion. Who amongst us doesn't hiccup on the hour every hour? Wow. Yeah, do it. When is the last time you did it? A little bit ago. Okay. Force yourself. Wait a minute. Two or three minutes ago? 15 or 20. Okay. So we'd have to be on the phone with her for another hour before we'd get to hear it. Probably. Do it. It's a genuine hiccup? Yeah. And then after you do it, is there any way that you can kind of recreate what the sound is? It's normally, it just sounds like I'm humming. I don't know. It's just, hmm. Things that make you go, hmm. Okay. How many times?
Now I want to hear it so bad. I know. How old are you? 21. And you've seen a doctor and she says you're okay. Pretty much. It's just all a hiccup is, she says, is your diaphragm spazzing, so. Yeah, but is your diaphragm supposed to spaz? I don't know. Yeah, I don't either. But Eddie, you're a doctor. Well, I'm not, but I don't think that's right. That's a diaphragm anyways. You don't need to need that. Take that sucker out. Don't say that, guys. Tell you what, I'll come down there and teach you how to hiccup. Thank you. All right, Kit Kat. Well, I used to be a hiccup. That was your hiccup for 20 years. But you're not anymore. If it starts happening, Kit Kat, call us back. All right. All right, thanks. Bye. Homer, here's a who's out this weekend. I know. Horton. Yeah, that's right. Horton, here's a who. Dr. Seuss. All right. Let's hear a clip from a cut 27. This is Bert from accounting.
No, this is Horton. I'm an elephant. Okay. Horton, fake name. Where are you? Where you're standing? I guess I'm in the sky. Compared to you, I'm enormous, which is saying something, because I've slimmed down quite a bit. I swim. Your whole world fits on a flower in my world. Oh, man, this is even pushing it for you, Bert. There you go. Well, that is a clip from Horton Hears a Who. Well, it's a kid movie, it sounds like. No, it does not. If you're a kid, you probably love it. Why don't they get all these Hollywood actors now? Why don't they get professional voice people? Seth Rogen is not a professional voice person, is what you're telling me? Seth Rogen as Morton, cut 28. Unless you're cool with giant razor-sharp claws ripping the flesh off your... I promised the mayor. I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. And an elephant's faithful 100%.
Please, for me, just this once, be faithful 99% of the time. I've never gotten 99% on anything. I think I'm awesome. Yeah, I don't know how long they've been doing it, but celebrities have to be in kid movies now. They've got to be the voice people in kid movies. But when we were kids, we didn't know who the voices were. They were kind of unknown actors. Well, except for Corey Feldman, Mike, and Fox and the Hound. Of course. What? Well, of course. He was fantastic in that movie. That's right. You have gone too far. I mean, as a reference, that's too far. Way too far. Oh my gosh. No. What is that, Eddie? He's dotting the cap. Maybe he's dotting the cap. Let me hear your thoughts, Jim Carrey, on Dr. Seuss Cut 29. I've always been drawn to things that are different. I felt odd. anyway as a child so you know anything odd i went oh that's those are my people me too that's right you know i dig those people uh there is something very original about the whole thing and that's what draws kids it's your boy that's my boy he's now my boy yeah dude there's your boy you call him every once in a while let me guess you're too big time now is that the deal great
Don't even call your boy anymore? Living in California. Oh, see how it is. That's great, dude. Love to come visit Land of the Sun. Forget about your boys. See my sweet girl, Ashley. Oh, dude. She's pristine. Dude, I went on the World Wide Web, dude. Yeah, dude. Talk about it. I mean, just absolutely immaculate. Yeah, dude. And the eyes closed, okay? Just absolutely. Let me tell you, she is a work of art. That's right. Okay? That's right. Casso. Yeah, visual masterpiece. Yeah, dude, I'll use my pencil. She's a... 13 years old. With the pencil reference that you won't explain to anyone. I'd hand it to him. I mean, not even off the air will he share that reference. Take a bow. Drop your cap on that one, my friends. Okay. Number three. Numero tres. Back to back. We're really going to be able to work it in today. Thanks, guys. You got it in there. My friend. Thank you very much.
Wow. Let's see. What else? Anything else out today? Doomsday. What is that? Yes, bro. Okay, Sean. Okay. I bet it doesn't then. I can't figure this movie out. Does it look good? I don't like the female action lead. Like in Resident Evil and stuff like that. I don't like it. That's awesome. No, I don't like it. And they have one of those in this movie. Yeah, I guess a lethal virus breaks out and they have to quarantine England. Cut 31. It's the Spartan guy. Yeah, I want to see that. Why don't they make a 300 part too? Oh, 400? Make that. I'll go see that. In this clip, Malcolm McDowell, love him. He's really good. In this scene, Malcolm McDowell's character is asked if he has found a cure for the infected. Cut 32. Have you found the cure? Ah, even now you still cling to hope, huh? If I were you, I would abandon any such thoughts. There's always hope.
But there is no cure. There never was. Stupid. Oh, shoddy. Come on, Eddie. High five. No. Yeah, okay. Come here, buddy. No, no, no. Get away. Come get some of the sweet stuff. Malcolm, tell us about your character, Kane. Cut 33. Kane is a great character. He put it in Shakespearean terms. It's a sort of mixture between Macbeth and King Lear or something. It is. He's a wonderful character. And, you know, even though it's a sci-fi film, here we are in the Middle Ages. So that's kind of fun. I mean, it's very imaginative. You're so pretentious. That's right. It's very Shakespearean. He takes his craft seriously. What's wrong with that? Dumb. He's a thespian. You're dumb. Uh-uh. Let's see. Hey, the saint signed Mark Brunel. Hey! Look at that! Yeah! Isn't that guy retired like five years ago? Dude, he's still playing. I don't know how he has a job still. Oh, my goodness. He's still doing it. And the 49ers let Trent Dilfer go. Gosh, that's really sad. Not at all. Whoa!
Fred Couples is leading the Arnold Palmer Invitational. That's where they take iced tea and lemonade. Love that beverage. So good. It's so good. Yeah, you put the two of them together. Also known as Mezzo Emezzo. Yeah, Mezzo Emezzo. Only at one restaurant. Only at one. Only one place. Just one place is it known as that. Thank you so much, Rob. So there it is. Yeah, but Tiger's playing in the same tournament, so it's over. How far back is he? That was just after the first round. Okay. So plenty of time and Tiger will win. Put it on the board. Let's see. Electronic gadgets are now carrying computer viruses inside of them. That's weird. Like what kind of electronic gadgets? The Mezzly Mezzo. The Mezzly Mezzo. Well, that is here on the list. But yeah, according to the CNN article about it, it names Apple iPods. Digital picture frames sold at Target and Best Buy, and then the TomTom navigation gear. What? No, I have TomTom. Yeah, the ones they list. They say sometimes straight out of the package. TomTom. TomTom. TomTom. Hey, TomTom. Hey, TomTom. Hey. TomTom. I love you, TomTom. Hey, TomTom. What are they doing? I don't know. TomTom. What are you doing? Oh, boy. Mock, mock.
What's up, Chewie? $5 bill got re-released yesterday. This is the Criterion Edition. Wait, what? This is the... It's now in DTS. Really? I heard it's the Mirrors. That's right. They released it yesterday. It went into circulation yesterday. Blu-ray? What do they do, Skye? They give it to the banks first. Yeah, they give it to the banks first, and then it starts from there going into businesses. What's the difference? All color-y. Pink. Yeah, Lincoln will have a little more color in his cheeks. We'll have to put some color in your face. Put a little rouge. There'll be light purple at the center of the bill. We both thought of the same obscure King of Comedy reference. At the same time. On the back, a small yellow 05 will be printed in the left of the Lincoln Memorial. I don't bother with fives, though, Mike. What's this five you speak of? Oh, you're talking about TP, toilet paper. Have you guys ever seen a five? I don't even know what that is. What do you do with them? Do they do that in Egypt? A five?
Takes 40 of those for me to use them. I don't even... What can you even buy with a five? A two? Yeah, no. A cinnamon roll? What's next? A one? I mean, come on. That's as queer as a one dollar bill. Let's see. I think we might wrap her up. Peace out. Wrap it up, I'll take it. Greg Maddox got hit. By a line drive, got hit in the leg. Yeah. Had to leave the game. A deep inner thigh bruise. Ew. That's got to feel good. Oh, I bet that hurts so bad. Yeah. That's awful. Whenever I see those guys in baseball, whenever the ball ricochets and hits them in the ankle or the foot, that always looks so painful, man. Yeah, it is. Right on the bone. And the thing is, is that these are, you know, these baseball players, they're big, strong athletes.
They know that everybody's watching, and so they act like it wasn't that bad. I bet in their head they're like, ouch, ouch. Well, the trainers usually come out and usually spray immediately that cold stuff. So that probably helps a little bit, but still. But when it first happens, and especially when you're watching on TV and you hear that. Yeah, gross. And it's just that hollow. But you know that tiny sound was the sound of a 84-mile-an-hour ball. Striking someone's bone. Snoop Dogg's going to be on One Life to Live, and that's it, guys. All right, well, it was really great to see you guys, and we'll just wrap her all up. It's the truth. Snoop Dogg is going to be doing an extended cameo on One Life to Live. Why? What is he playing? Two episodes. One's going to be May the 8th, the other May the 9th, and he'll be performing at their fictional nightclub. Peach Pit. No, we're talking about one life to live. Wait a minute, I'm going to make a prediction. Whatever it's called is annoying. I guarantee you that whatever this fictitional nightclub is called is going to annoy us. I think. Ultraviolet. That's annoying. It's not as bad as I thought. It's not as bad as I thought, but it's still annoying. It could have been way worse. We know it could have been way worse. That is true. That place is the jam. Maybe coming back, Eddie.
What do you mean? Did you hear it? Peach Pit After Dark? Huh? The CW is like fast tracking a 90210 spinoff. Get out of here. Wait, spinoff? Like in the same characters? They're based on the characters? They don't give any details. My guess would be it's like based on the town. It's like a new generation. Beverly Hills? Going to Beverly Hills High would be my guess. But I want the old ones back. Well, Tori Spelling, actually, when she heard the news, she said, quote, they should give me a call. Oh, my God. You know what? This is the one I don't care about. You guys, seriously, think about it. Think about all those actors that still, they don't work. Yeah. Jason Priestley, Ziering, what's his name? Ian Ziering. Ian Ziering. Luke Perry. He's not working. All these people. Shannon Doherty. Oh, Brian Austin Green's got a gig, though. So does that girl, too. That girl, the blonde. Jenny Garth? She's on a show. She was on Dancing with the Stars. And she's on What I Like About You. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the one I'm saying. It's a sitcom, right? Yeah, it's funny. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's real popular. Well, think about it. If they were to do...
an updated 90210 where all of them still like live in the same community, but they have jobs. It'd be interesting. I'd watch. And they had kids who were like high school. Joey Tata, what's he up to? Yeah. And like it would be, and you know what they would do? What they would do is they would take the wildest ones. Okay. And their kids would be like pretty good. But the nicest ones that you wouldn't think. Yeah. The Walsh is the ones that you would think would have crazy. Their kids are nuts. Love it. Yeah. Their kids are nuts. Do it. Let's green light it. Let's develop it. Yeah, yeah, I mean. Well, see, the CW's working on it again. Get Tiffany Amber Thiessen back, dude. Oh, really? Yeah, dude. Valerie, she's my fave. Remember when she smoked pot? I was out by the time Tiffany Amber Thiessen came in. She was so bad. She was a badass. But, like, so hot, and he was like... Like, whoa. She was a bad girl. Yeah, yeah. She was really bad, but she was so hot. She was, like, really bad. I don't really want to... She was my idol growing up, so... Yeah, well, that makes sense. When she was Saved by the Bell. A lot of things are starting to make sense. Kelly Kapowski? No, no, no, when she was Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell. Oh, I got you. So then when she went to... But thanks for that comment, Mike. But then when she went to the next one, I was a big fan of her two to that. Took it. Oh, no. Oh, we're friends. No, we are not. Yes, we are. Please, Mike. No, okay, we are. P1AJ. Yes. Go ahead. When B-Rob's always trying to...
kind of hijack the show when you're late coming back from break? Yes. It's no mutiny. I'm just doing him a favor. I'm watching his back. That's all. Oh, yeah. You do a great job. Thanks. I'm saying on the 28-hour show, you guys should give him an hour of the B-Rock. Didn't we do that? Yeah. No. We had an idea to do it, and I think that we... Yes, we did. We did something like that, Rob. With Ashley. Wasn't that it? Yeah, maybe that was... I didn't. I never did. I thought we had an idea that everybody on the show was going to take over for an hour, but maybe it never happened. I know we talk about all these things, but... I wasn't there. I was on the phone for like 30 hours. Well, maybe we will do that. The show's only on for 28. I came in. All right, Rob, you got 3 a.m. Go for it. Oh, sweet. I'll take it. Well, we're doing it again seven months, so we'll have to... Wait, we are? No. Well, I don't think we're still negotiating. Yeah. We'll have to talk about it then. Yeah, put it on the board. Thank you. It's on the board. It's not on the board. P1 Dano? Yes, it is. How you doing? What's up, man? I'm actually wondering if we could hear another one of B-Rob's parodies. I'm actually going with Churro. I'd love to hear the Foo Fighters Churro. There goes my Churro? I could go for one of those right now. Yeah, I could play that for you. Thank you. All right, that's the last request, though. This is Rob's song about his love for a Churro. Yeah.
He actually plays drums on this, too, which is really impressive. Really strange. Yeah. This is based on a true story. Yeah, it is. It's based on a true story. It's a healing process. First. Yes. Is that the whole song? Real good. True story. Guys, Churro got stolen and it really upset him. So he wrote a song about it and we all got to live it. Yay. Mikey show. Hello. Yes, we are. I just was wondering if I talked to Mikey about bringing back celebrity birthdays. Celebrity birthdays. Wow. We did celebrity birthdays for easily three years. And we stopped. The idea was Boston Rob. Celebrity birthday. He would guess. What's up? He would guess. That's why we got rid of it. That's why. Like who's, you know, how old is a person that's birthday is today?
the punches now. Maybe that's a way to spice it up. I wouldn't want to punch that, but I like punching Rob. How did it work in terms of how close he had to be? Did he have to hit it right on the head? I think he had to hit it right on. He didn't have to be within a few years? And then that's how many punches he got. Oh, that's right. And I'm horrible at it. If he said they were turning 30 and it was 25, he got five punches. That's a good bit. That was a lot of fun. Yeah, it was the best when he didn't know who the celebrity was. Yeah. Which happened 90% of the time. That was my favorite. Oh, that was, yes, I forgot. Yeah. A lot of times he wouldn't know who it was, so he'd have to guess. And he would try to talk through it and read our faces. Yeah, right. So he would go, well, I know that she's like definitely, she was like in the whole Rat Pack thing. And we would react and that was great. Yeah, we got to do that again. Mikey Shaw. Hello. It's Mikey. Mikey. Hey, what's up? It's P1300. What's up, dude? Yeah. I was just going to say, man, you guys for like a half the year thing need to get a best of and just throw all of B-Rob's songs on one CD that everybody can buy. I'm selling that out of the trunk of my car. Okay, wait. Great. It's illegal. What? You're giving him an idea. Thank you, brother. Thank you, man. I appreciate it. We're going to do something.
A little different. On Fridays, I do this thing. It's called Giving My Testimony where I tell you a little bit about myself and what happened in terms of my life. My life took this very particular pattern and this very particular thing happened and I usually share that with people on the end of the show on Friday. And we're actually putting together a webpage that is going to premiere next week. And the webpage will be a place where you can go and download it. And the reason that we say that is because there may be some of you that have friends that could hear it maybe and could be helped by it, but they don't live here. And so we will start doing that. But it's also going to have resources. It's going to have links to places that you can get help for various things that you may be going through. For me, it was the addiction to alcohol.
So like alcohol, depression, things like that? Exactly. That's cool, man. Yeah, it should be cool. We'll have like if you have any issues with drugs and alcohol or if you're having issues with depression, if you're having issues with an eating disorder. Abuse. Abuse. All of these things. We're going to put resources that you can go to so that it's all in one place. And hopefully what will happen is word on it will spread. And if people know people that need help and they're like, I don't know where to go or I don't know where to turn to. Maybe they say. You know what? I know Mikey's got this web page and it's got a whole bunch of stuff on there. That's a great idea. So we'll tell you all the different kinds of ways that you can be helped and that you can find help and all that stuff. But just really briefly, my story was that I was addicted to alcohol. But I have a history. I've got this long family history. And my history was very early on in life.
sexual abuse, which when that happens, you're ashamed of it. So most people don't talk about it because you're ashamed. But that's the reason that it kind of festers inside you and it does bad stuff to you, especially with women. With women, it can be even worse because it turns into other things. With me, who knows? Could have been a whole host of things, but I could tell you this, I was addicted to everything. Eating too much, drinking too much, everything too much. And eventually, I became addicted to alcohol. And there was a point where I knew, I just knew it. I knew that I wasn't going to make it. I knew I was going to die. Unless something extraordinary happened. Unless a miracle happened. Unless something happened. Because I wasn't able to stop. But one night, I was laying in bed. I was laying on my back.
And these tears just started pouring out of my eyes. I wasn't crying out loud. I just had tears pouring down the side of my face. And I was just begging God to change it. To make something different. Because I knew I was headed down a bad road. I couldn't stop it myself. And something inside of me changed. And I was able to get help. And I was able to start this process. That is continuing today. In fact, today, it's almost harder in some respects than it was then. Because I'm going through some really, really hard times in my personal life. Now, I would share everything with you. You know I'd share everything with you. That's the way I'm wired. But some of these things involve my family. And because they involve my family, I have a thing that I want to...
keep real cherished and private with my family. So I don't talk about everything, but maybe one day I will. But all I can tell you is it's been very, very difficult. And I have felt myself being pulled in every possible direction. And if this were six years ago, I would have drank so much more. But today, even though I'm going through some things that are really, really, really tough for me, It's just all good, and I know it's going to be good. I know it's going to be awesome. That's the cool thing. I know it's going to be awesome. But the reason I want to do something different is because we had this girl, Teresa, call. Hey, Teresa, are you there? Hi, Mikey. How are you? I'm great. How are you? I'm good. Teresa called us because we were talking about this whole topic of this governor in New York and how he was using this.
He was using this high-priced call girl escort service, and so it's been in the news a lot. And one of the things that we heard today was this lady on the air, and she was saying, well, I think that what girls like about it is they really connect, and it's a way to connect with others. And Sky, I don't remember what you said, but it was like, hello. Well, why don't you talk about the da-da-da part of it? You're just justifying it and trying to make excuses for what it really is. For what it really is. But anyway, we got this phone call from Teresa. Teresa, you used to be in that line of work. You used to be an escort. Yes, I was. And how old are you now? I'm 30. When did it start? How old were you when you started doing that? I was like 22 to 25 or 26 when I started to get out. Okay, how old were you when you got into it? Probably, I started dancing at 19 and worked my way up, so to speak. By the age of 22, I was an escort. Did you ever do porn? Well, at 26, I kind of contemplated it, but then that's when I gave my life to God. I decided I was going too far.
When you were 22, you started to do the escort service. Do you remember the first time that you did it? Yes, Gary, and you go in it with good intentions. You don't think that, you know, you think that you're just going to go in there and make some using money and you're going to leave, but it's a whole other dark world. What happened when you were in that world? Well, you know, I just... I went in there with very good intentions, you know, and I just kept slipping further and further into the industry and, you know, dabbling with drugs and other things and compromising, you know, my own personal values. When you would wake up in the morning, how did you feel? Oh, I couldn't look at myself in the mirror, honestly. So it was pretty bad. It was a dark, dark place. And my actions stem from sexual abuse as well as a kid, so I understand where you're coming from. What happened? When? When you were 26, what happened? Okay, good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not going there. I'm like, it's a family show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I just found myself alone in a Hollywood hotel room waiting for a call, and I was so alone and so desperate, and I just cried out to God, and it worked. Do you remember what happened? Well, it just...
I don't know, just inside of me something changed, and I just started to pray more and ask God to, you know, get me out of the business. And, you know, with the time and faith and prayer, you know, he did deliver me. And not only did he deliver me, but he called me to start a ministry at the Rock Church called JC's Girls, which we go out to strip clubs and actually talk to the girls. Well, I think that that is very, very powerful. What happened to you? And you're not in it anymore. And what would you say to girls that are maybe in it and don't want to be in it, but they don't know a way out? Well, I would like to tell them that I understand. And it's the hardest thing you'll ever have to do. But, you know, God says to give up your worldly things and follow him. And, you know, through the ministry, I can show them how we could lead them. How do they get a hold of you? How do they get a hold of you? Go to the rock. SanDiego.org. It's under Ministries, JC's Girls. Yeah. Teresa, I really appreciate it. Thank you, Mikey. Thanks for what you do. Your testimony is awesome, too. Thank you. So the message at the end of the show is hope. So if you are looking for that, and it doesn't matter who you are in your life, if you're looking for that, it's there. And start next Friday, we're going to have a page, and we'll get you some help.
But if you're in it right now, and it doesn't matter what it is, no matter what the thing is, and you feel like there's no hope, there is hope. She just talked about it, and I've talked about it. So let's play it. This song is called Tunnel. It's by a band called Third Day. And it's a song about hope. And it's really cool. So listen to the words of it, especially if you're going through really hard times right now, like I am. Really listen to the words of it and let the words resonate with you. Have a fantastic weekend and we will see you back here with all our best friends on Monday. Come see us this afternoon. Joe's Crab Shack, 12 o'clock, Mission Valley, and it's at Hazard Center. And Rob, you got one too. Yeah, tomorrow for St. Paddy's Day, come celebrate with me down at Bell Bowl Park from 1 till 245. Right after it, we're going to be at Balboa Park from 1 till 2.45. Come join me for a pint of smittics and we're just hanging out. Celebrating the Irish.
