The show kicked off with host Mikey and his team celebrating Sean's birthday while discussing his gas‑tank fill‑up and his brewing HOA dispute. They then played the Wuss Rock Jukebox game, where callers Buckley, Breakbread, and Siegfried sang after music clips stopped and were judged by Eddie, Skye, and Sean. Later, Dr. Phil gave bizarre advice to a hypochondriac caller, Amco was praised for fixing Kate's transmission for free, the crew debated April Fool's prank statistics, and Thurston shared a harrowing story of a contractor who threatened him with a sledgehammer and ended in a taser confrontation.

Welcome to the show. It is Tuesday 1st. It's 6-0-4. Jessica Simpson was released from the hospital yesterday after suffering a kidney infection. Well, a hundred more games just like this and we'll be just perfect. The Padres win their opening night game 4-0 over Houston. Well, that's good news. Oh yeah, Jake Peavy. If he could only pitch every single game, he'd be awesome. I have no idea what the rest of the lineup is. I don't even know. That's a bunch of new faces, and they all did pretty good yesterday. They did? Yeah, Paul McAnulty, Tony Clark, those guys. That is a lot of names that I am not familiar with. Well, there you go. Let's get it underway. Let's get the show on the floor. 570-1053, that's our phone number. Call us at the beginning and end of every show, and just let her fly. I mean, it's up to you, whatever you want. It's an open forum.
Which means that whatever you want to talk about is up to you. We don't keep you on one topic. You can ask questions or you can make comments or you can talk about TV that you saw or whatever. Comment on the show. It's up to you. 570-1053. It's our chance to bond with you, the listener. 570-1053. My name is Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Let's introduce everybody because there are seven people. That's why... When we start the show, it's like the beginning of a TV show where they roll the credits and they say, and starring as starring, we kind of do one of those deals. And today's is going to be a little special because today we have a birthday on the show. Today we've got a birthday on the show. Well, we'll get to that in a second. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 37. I don't know why he's making that noise. I don't either. I'm 37. I'm married.
And I've been married now for three years. I got married in February of 05. And so I've been married for three years and a couple of months to a beautiful woman named Rebecca. My son's name is Jacob, although I only say that when I really need his attention, which is a distinction between angry. It's when I really want his attention. When he's walking away and I don't want him to walk away, I go, Jacob, Jacob. And he turns around. Uh, and, uh, I don't have, you know, I don't have any dogs. I have, well, my wife owns a couple of cats. And one of them was hers. Uh, you know, from a previous relationship. And, uh, and then we have one together. And, uh, that one was a mistake. That one was a mistake. The Sydney, that cat's name is Sydney. And, uh,
It's a great name for a mistake. He's a bad person. He is, you know, some people are born, they're either good or bad. He's a bad person, and he is filled with hatred. So that's Sidney. There you go. And that is our... He's a bad man! Those cats are... That's true. Evil creatures. That is the truth. Vile. My best friend of over 20 years is my producer and sports guy. He is 34 years old. Yeah. Young. But not for long. What? Yes, long time. I don't know about that, Eddie. Seven days. About seven more days. Oh, it's a long time. April the 8th. Live it up. April the 8th, Eddie will be turning 35 years old. I cannot believe that. I just can't get my head around it. He's always been young to me.
Still is, but 35 is still young. And Eddie is our sports guy. He knows a lot about sports. Although he's like me. He's got DirecTV. Didn't get to see the game. No, no Padre game. And it was on ESPN2 and blacked out. So it was like a tease. I even turned it on. I went, oh, whoa. Even though I knew in my head, I know it's blacked out. You still want to try. But I go, you know what? There's that slim hope of like, maybe it'll be on. Blacked out. That's terrible. Jerks. That's terrible. Yeah. Skye is our news girl. She is 30 years of age. She's 30. Her birthday is in October. Grandma's birthday is today, though. Is that right? I think there's a few birthdays. Well, let me think about it. I only know one. I know one for sure. Yeah. It's the next guy on the show that we're going to introduce. He's precious. He's precious to our hearts. He's precious to our hearts. He is our little angel. Doesn't look a day over 37. Nope. You're an idiot. That's right. Why am I an idiot? He is 38 years old today. Hey, oldest guy on the show. Oh, no. Suck, dude. All right. Hip, hip. Hoorah. Oh. Kaza. Oh, no. Shut up. Yeah, our sound effects guy, his name is Sean. He is 38 years old. Oh, wow.
We can move on. This isn't a prank? It is not a prank. Oh. It's not an April Fool's joke. And, yeah, he's a very interesting man. Some may say, I'm not saying I do. I'm making an observation. I'm not saying I say this. I'm just saying some may say. Some may say he's a really odd guy. Oh. You said that? I didn't say that. Oh, who said it? Why would Mike say that? I'm not saying that. I know. I'm saying some people may say he is the best. Hey, I can say that. He's the best. I love him. Some people would say, you know, that guy, he's, you know, he's got some strange quirks about him. Interesting. Yeah, you know, he puts salt in his milk. Oh, gosh, that's weird. He does do that, you know. It enhances the flavor. So there you go. There he is. Salt. Don't knock it till you try it. It really makes the salt taste better than milk does. He adds milk to his salt. Shani, what are you going to do? What are you going to do today? I'm not going to do anything, to be perfectly honest. No, you got big birthday plans. Come on. I do not have big birthday plans. Come on. Yeah, what, spaghetti factory? What are you doing? I hate that place. Come on, man.
That's for homeless people. Whoa! Homeless people? No, blunderies. I love that place. Like he said. Delicious. Meat sauce. Did an eight course meal for $4.55? It's awesome. But it tastes like crap. It does not. So there he is. That's Shawnee, oh boy. We love him. He's six foot six inches tall, Sky. Go to Outback. Yeah, go to Outback, Sean. Why would I go there? That's even worse. No, it's not delicious. The one there on the south side on Santa Teresa? Hit it up. Oh, right. That one's better. Hit it up. Queen Victoria's. Cut. Wait, no. It's Victoria's Filet. That's what I meant. Who's that queen in there? Yeah, Queen Anne. Yeah, Shawnee. We're so proud of him. Don't walk about darn. That's right. Eddie. Good day, mate. Can I take your order?
That's about the size of it. They have great customer service there. Do they? Last time I learned that my waitress is a surrogate. Really? And she is pregnant with twins. There you go. And she is having babies for someone else. Excuse me? If my server told me that, I would get her fired. Enjoy your achoo. Yuck. May I get you a glass of milk? No. Yuck. It's fresh squeeze. Okay. I thought it was fun. Hey. It's his birthday. Okay. I won't write the time down. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's wearing a button-down shirt today. What? That's right. Button-down shirt. She looks very professional. What would you say, Eddie, if you saw this woman, where would you say she works? Does she work in a high-rise building downtown? Oh, Cajon and College. No, stop that. Oh, my God. No, there's a great office building right over there. Oh, really? What office building is it then? It's a law firm. Okay. He hates me today. He's been like this all morning long. It's McClankle and McClankle. McClankle and McClankle. I don't know why he hates me. Eddie, what would you say? I would say this woman, she is a... I'll tell you what she does for living. Can I greet her at Walmart? No, she's not. I know. She's not a greeting at Walmart. That was a compliment. No one is saying that. What's going on?
This is what she does. I say, I don't know what they're called. The people that do the typing in court. The court typers. She's a court typer. That's right. She's an ostinographer. Yeah, I like that. Thank you. That's right. Ash, anything going on? How's the puppy? She's good. She's just getting out of that crate. Yeah, we're training her to get out of the crate. It's going really well. Has she ever made an accident inside? Yes. Now, what's the proper thing? My dad, you know, back in the old days, he would rub their nose in it and then hit him with a paper. Yeah, that's what you do. That's what my dad would do, you know, back in the old days. But I know that's not PC anymore. You don't do that. You don't? I don't think so. Now I think you ride him like a pony. I think you're supposed to, you know, put a saddle on him. That's weird, true. Now, what do you do now, Ash? What's the proper procedure? She does not really go in the house. And when she does, I just take her right outside. And then I'll, like, reinforce the command that we use, which is potty, when she does it outside. And then when she does do it outside, I give her a treat. Wow, there you go. And is she getting it? Is she starting to... What do you do now? Oh, yeah. I've trained her. Like, when I first got her, like, she... The only command she knew, like, she didn't even know her name. Well, she didn't have a name. Yeah. But...
The only command she knew... Rob is shaking her head like, well, yeah, she didn't have one. She didn't have one yet. She didn't know it. Yeah. She didn't know that, though. Right. But the only command she knew was sit, you know, and she was totally anti-social. What is Rob's problem? He hates it. He's feisty. He's feisty today. What a jerk. Well, listen. May I make an observation? I'm going to make an observation. I think it stemmed from unresolved issues from yesterday. At the end of the show yesterday, when the show was over, Ashley was being very playful with Rob, and he wasn't having it. Do you remember Ash? Yeah. She was being playful with him at the door. And he's like, hey, stop with your mouth. You shut your mouth. You shut your face. Yeah, you shut your face. Wow. He's really aggressive. He's like Danny Zuko from Grease. You shut your face over there. Right? So anyway, Ash is the best pet owner I think I've ever seen. She really takes care of that dog. She knows a lot now. Some would say overboard. She is. Well, she is. Have you guys seen the new pictures of her in her new pink sweater? I don't think I've got it. I'll send them to you. They're great. It can't be true, man. Don't you dare. She couldn't have got a pink sweater. Send it. Send me a link. I'd love to see it. I'd love to see it. I want to see it. It's got a hood. Send it. No. Don't send it to me. No. Her dog is called a Pugsley. That's a type of breed. No, that's not.
I could put him on my blog. Boston Rob is our... Look it, he's out on her. He's never liked that with her. She's one of those people that dresses up with dogs and I don't care for those people. I mean, I care for you, but just your ways have to change. You can see it though, right, Ash? I don't know what it is. We'll have to do some psychoanalyzation later. Boston Rob is wearing a Boston Rob, or excuse me, a Boston Red Sox baseball cap today. Really? I'm all Red Sox, though. Yep, he's got on his Boston Red Sox. What is that? I couldn't wear any more Red Sox stuff. It's like a fleece, and then I got my 99 All-Star jersey on. Then I got my AL Champs t-shirt on underneath, which will come out later. His wife is the most elegant, most put-together woman. She really does look like a law firm person. And her soon-to-be husband is everyday Red Sox. This is a tire. When they're together, it looks like somebody just kidnapped someone. We went to dinner last night, and I was kind of thinking that. They came up and asked if she was a... They asked for her safe word. Yeah, because we hang out in her neck of the woods, you know? And that's kind of a nice area. Yeah. So every time we go out, I always feel out of place. You're the best. But it's all right. What's going on with you? Anything?
Opening day today, dude. Yeah. Well, it was yesterday, Rob. Yeah, whatever. For me, it's still today. What do you mean? The Red Sox have played two games already. Yeah, but that was in Japan. So it still counts? Yeah. It doesn't count in my mind. What is he talking about? I don't know. No, but this is like, you know, in the States. You're 1-1. I know. I hate that. Don't bring it up. So where are they playing at? Oakland. Who's starting? It's opening day in America. I can't get excited about that. It's weird. It's not opening day. The games last week are at 3 in the morning. I love when they argue about baseball. I'm going to tell you something. For those of you listening. It's opening day for Sox in the States, okay? I'm sorry. I want people to know. For those of you that are listening. It's a thing for me. I want people to know. Don't say that. Don't say that. He doesn't care. He doesn't care. But Rob gets so worked up. Well, I would be mad if my team is 500. Two games in, and it was in Japan. You shouldn't even have won that first game. You know it. Oh, don't do this. Not right now. Not right now. I can have bad blood pressure because of this guy. That's the best. Every season. And then it's over for a few months. It's only a few months. It's only a few months because it doesn't stop. Zethian Oates, the youngest person on the show.
He is 23 years of age. And I'm going to take a guess. Yesterday, you... Is that right? Yeah. Did you take a nap? Yeah. I will say that you got lunch somewhere. No. You did not? Uh-uh. What did you do? He can't afford lunch. Yeah, Eddie's right. I really can't. So you said he filled his tank up for the first time yesterday. What? Yeah, in like six months. He filled it up. I never filled it up. Yeah. It's 51 bucks, man. $51? Yeah, my car's a go-kart, man. Like, it shouldn't cost that much. Are you trying to Escalade? No, it's a little Volkswagen. Four-cylinder. $51. Where did you get gas? Arco, right here on Mission. Arco in Alaska? How many gallons does your tank hold? 13. How could that possibly add up? I mean, was it like $5 a gallon? Like, almost $4. Diesel's cheaper.
Oh, it is? I don't know, man, but that's a lot, $51. Yeah, dude, I was bummed out about it. Well, because 13 gallons, $4 a gallon is 52 bucks. Oh, look at you, you mathematician. Holy cow. But it's what, like $3.50 a gallon right now? Human calculator over here. So, Sky, what's $3.50 times... 13. Well, what's the meaning of life, Mike? Let me call my accountant. Let's see. Mikey's show. Hello. Hey, good morning. Greetings. Who's this? Lenny from Orange County. Lenny, what's up? I just want to let you guys know you guys do a great job. I haven't been down in San Diego in a while. This is your show from time to time. How am I able to catch your show up in Orange County? Do you have a broadcast on the internet? Yeah, we do. We stream live on the internet, so if you want to listen to us on the internet, you can. Although, if anything goes wrong, don't write me. Because I'll tell you, man, we get that all the time.
People get so upset and they're like, hey. And I'm like, I don't know what to do. I don't run that. Well, you are the webmaster. I am not the webmaster. Yeah. I write you all the time. I am not the web. No, please. I am not the web guy. Why won't you help me? Just flip that switch over there, right? That's right. Just flip a switch. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. That was P1 Lenny. And he'll be listening to us on the internet. Step up to your girl. The music of the new kids on the block. Now, why are we playing the new kids on the block? NKOTB. Wait, no. Oh, boy. It's close. You're very close, Ashley. Not really close. It's NKOTB. Thank you. Where's the why? Well, the news came out. That's right. The news is out. They are back on Friday. They're back. Eddie's doing the dance move. Yes. Get it. I'm the bad boy.
That means you wear the denim jacket? I was Donnie. She was the hottest. They're getting back together. What are they, 44? What are they? So exciting. Oh, what? In their mid to late 30s. And why are they doing this? Are they doing this as a publicity stunt? Well, it's the 20th anniversary of Hanging Tough. Oh, hello. Hello. I mean, people like you don't have it marked on your calendar. Sean's birthday, 20th anniversary of Hanging Tough. Wow, listen to that. Favorite kid. What are you going to do? Joey? She's Joey. Joey Fatone. Noah Mike. Not Joey Fatone. I was joking. Joey Fatone. Joey. Noah. It's pronounced Fat One, guys. Joey McIntyre. McIntyre. Hey, stop it. Joey McIntyre. We're not messing around here. That's right. So this Friday on the Today Show. I like Bobby Brown.
NKOTB getting back together. They're going to make some sort of announcement. Hopefully it'll have something to do with the tour. I'm sure Skye does not have an issue with me reminding people that as a young girl, her and her best friend used to race up the stairs to get to the New Kids on the Block poster to see who could kiss the poster first. I don't know why you... I'm just saying. Reminder. That's humiliating. Whoever kissed him first was his girlfriend for the day. That's sick. Who kissed him the most? It was a tie. I mean, my friend Jenny, she had some long legs on her, so she could bolt up those stairs. Are you talking about the infamous Pocket Reno, as she's known? Yes, I am. Yes, my friend Pocket Reno. Yes, Jen is known as Pocket Reno. I don't even want to know. She is approximately six feet, nine inches tall. Holy legs. Gorgeous. He won Zach. Yes, sir. Good morning, Mikey, everybody. I want to know if Sean, if he'd prefer to hear his happy birthday song in English or Chinese, you know, so the panda in him. That is a good question. Oh, boy. And I guess we're going to just have to ask Joy Ling, as he was known back in the day. He's not happy, guys. At the convention centers. Come on, Johnny, oh, boy, smile. Not on his birthday. Come on. Johnny, oh, boy. You guys have a good morning. Oh, oh. Okay.
Uh-oh, Sean's turning his camera now to the wall. He's now turned his camera away. Oh, no, that's bad. And his camera is now facing the wall. And when he did it, he had a look on his face that said, okay, whatever. Getting grumpy in his old age. It's true. It's my birthday. Well, send bamboo. You know, though, what I mean. This is P1 Blake. Hi, Blake. Hey, what's going on, Mike? What's going on? That was weird when somebody asks what's going on and you answer it with what's going on. It's like when you pass somebody in the hall and they say hi and you go, really good, how about you? It's awkward. They go, well, I didn't, well, never mind. I've done it too. I do it all the time. I can't help but answer what's up with what's up. So what's happening, Blake? Nothing. I work a graveyard at Arco.
And I'm getting ready to get off work. But before I get out of here, there's a girl that comes in here probably two or three times a week. And we sit there and we BS and we talk or whatever. And I'm just kind of, I mean, I just barely moved here. I've been here all about three and a half months. Where'd you move from? I'm from Phoenix. Okay. What'd you listen to out there? Everything, really. Did you have a favorite morning show when you lived in Phoenix? I don't remember the name of it. They used to have this, no, to be honest, not really. Do you remember what the number was on your radio? 1015, I want to say. All right. Okay, because the only reason I ask is because I used to live in Arizona. I have a lot of family in Arizona, and so I'm very familiar with the radio stations in Arizona, so I'm always curious. And some of us here on the show, we have friends that work in radio there. I've got a couple friends that work for a couple stations over there. There you go.
So anyway, what were you calling to tell us? I was asking, would it be psycho for me to ask this chick out? You work at the Arco. She comes in and talks to you. Yeah. We just kind of talk. Nothing too serious. But this chick is freaking gorgeous. And like I said, I'm a single guy. Yeah. Listen. Sometimes I think it is very important for us guys to really know the difference between a person being nice. No. I know what you mean. Got to read the signals. You got to read the signals. Yeah, no, I mean, I get the googly eyes and all that BS, but... See, that's the thing, though. I wonder if maybe her googly eyes are, hmm, should I get another six-pack of Diet Coke or... Twizzlers. Yeah, some Twizzlers or, you know, sometimes that's what the look actually is, but we think, wow, you really want me bad, don't you? Or she's looking for a discount, huh? You know, I... Possibly. Hey, it could very well be that she's giving you googly eyes. I don't know, but you've got to be careful with that. Well, you say that she comes in a couple times a week and you guys, you know, chat. How long do these conversations last? She's been late for work about three different times. But how long do these conversations last?
I think the longest one she stayed here for was about 45 minutes. Oh, okay. What? Her legs break? Now I'm worried about her. Yeah, you know what I mean? Sounds good to me. Listen, Blake, you may need to get a restraining order is what I'm saying. Get your rape whistle ready. Yes, and blow that thing loud when she comes near you. I can't help it. I'm irresistible. What can I say? Yeah, it sounds like it. Well, go to work. Get out of here. 45 minutes already. I just want a slushie. Well, dude, here's my question to you, Blake. If a girl is spending 45 minutes talking to you at the Arco and she's been late to work three times, what is it that's making you call and go, I just, Mike, I don't know what to do here. Sounds like you already went on your first date. No kidding. Did you hear what Rob just said? No. He says it sounds like you've already been on your first date. No kidding. No, it's just that she comes in here all the time. And I'm not going to lie. I think about her after I leave. Hey, has she ever mentioned that she's single? No, that's another thing. That's why I'm kind of like, ooh. How old is she? She's younger than me. She's 23. I bet she's got a boyfriend.
You think so? Well, sometimes when women... That's for 45 minutes. Yeah, but you know what? Here's what happens, Skye. This is just... I'm only going to put it out there as a possibility. It may not be true. I'm just going to put it out as something that we as listeners should consider. Okay. Yeah. You know how sometimes the Arco guy, he gives off this vibe that says, wow, I think you're gorgeous. Hang on, please, Blake. I beg you. I beg you. I beg you to just hang on, Blake. Please stop. I'm trying to relate to what Mike is saying. So, Sky, so you know how sometimes the Arco guy, he gives off this vibe that says, you're very beautiful. I am very interested in you, even though I'm not saying it. But man, do I put off a vibe that I am interested in you. And you know how sometimes to the girl that feels super good. Yeah. And so they allow it to come in and they're like, man, I'll stay here for 75 days if I have to feel this. I'll be late to work all the time to feel this.
All I'm saying is it could be that. Maybe it isn't. Maybe it's, man, I wish this guy would get it over with and just ask me out. I think I'm in love. It could be. Who knows? But I'm just offering it as a possibility. That's all I'm saying. It could be anything. It could be either of those. So what should he do? Maybe she doesn't know how to be quiet. I don't know. I mean, she does most of the talking. Here's what I think he should do. I think he should ask her, hey, do you have a boyfriend? And if she says yeah, he knows what the deal is. Abort mission? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Then you know what it's about. Listen, if she's got a boyfriend, then it's probably that thing I just described. Yeah. And if she doesn't have a boyfriend, then it sounds like she's interested. 45 minutes. That's a long time. Yeah, especially standing around inside an article. That's how long a dumb chick challenge took yesterday, if we're being quite honest. Forever. 45 minutes. Forever. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Anyway, dude. All right. Well, thank you for the call. Thank you, guys. Thank you. I want to talk Padres today.
That was really cool. They did a great job yesterday. They got it done. They went out there and said, we're going to win this game. And they did. Well, Jake Peavy did. Well, that guy's good. Awesome. You want to text us? 35253 is the number. Text us. We'd love to hear from you. 35253. I saw Dr. Phil. He was out in the lobby and he was cutting garlic with a razor blade. Wow. And he had on an apron. Yeah, he had an apron on. That's right. And he was cutting garlic with a razor blade. And so I thought it was really interesting. I don't know what he's going to do with it. So who knows why he's here. 35253 is the text and 5701053 is the phone number. We would love to hear from you. Also on the show today, we're going to do a little Wissrock jukebox. Little cell phone mishaps. It's Shawnee's birthday. And Regan's in the stand-up spotlight. I like Chef Boyardee. But they have some stuff I've never seen in the real Italian food world, you know. Ever been in a nice Italian restaurant? Hi, how are you? I'd like to start with a nice bottle of Chianti and a couple of Caesar salads to get started.

Coming out of the north county southbound on the tracks into Del Mar. Hit a car at Jimmy Durante Boulevard and Camino Del Mar here near just north of the train station. And that's going to cause some delays on the coaster this morning for sure. So be aware of that. This coaster ride here is south on side of the 5. Not too bad. You've got a brief delay here near Manchester. Down to Lomas Jeffrey Drive in Solana Beach. South on side of the 15. Picking up a few brake lights now out of Escondido up to 78. Kind of off and on and down into Escondido. And a few more brake lights into Rancho Bernardo.

I want to hear about some NFL football games. The NFL revealed its opening primetime games. The New York football Giants, who are the defending champions, will face Washington in the Thursday night opener. Then the Colts will play Da Bears in the first Sunday night game.
And then ESPN is going to have another one of those Monday night double headers. Yeah. The Brett Favre-less Packers will host the Vikings and the Raiders will host the Broncos in the other game. That's cool. Oh. Do you like those games, Eddie? I'm not sure about those Monday night games. I mean, with no Brett Favre and the Packers, I guess that's kind of a story, but I mean, I don't know that the Packers are going to be very good this year and I don't care about the Vikings at all. Uh, Raiders, blech, and Broncos, blech. Uh, Colts and Bears, kind of strange. Like, Colts, good. Bears, not good. Giants and Washington, I don't care about. No, I don't like any of the games, Mike. No, I guess not. Who knew? Eddie line's ringing. Oh, it is? Oh. Let me answer it. Hello? Hello, Eddie. What? I wasn't talking. We weren't talking politics or anything. Barbara, what are you? No, you certainly were. You certainly were. What happened? Well, I heard mention. Oh, she did. Oh, that's right. I heard Sky mention. I don't know that she's ever been referred to as that, but... She's a little diamond jewel, you people. She was born of love. A lot of people don't realize that she was actually born in a manger. No, that's definitely not true. It was so wonderful. It was so wonderful. I didn't know that. That doesn't mean anything. These monsters that are asking for... Wait, the hunks? Are you guys kidding me? No, that real thing.
He even admitted it. Bill Clinton even admitted it. Do you realize that that was all a right-wing conspiracy? That was hot. Are you people kidding me? Do you think that he really cheated on Hillary? Do you need to see the dress? Well, first of all, I've seen every dress that I need to see, and it's on Dancing with the Stars on ABC. They do have some fantastics. They do. But, yeah, Bill Clinton never had a fairer, guys. Yes, he did. He didn't. Yes, he did. He didn't. Please don't say it again. Yes, he did. I don't care. We're going to speak the truth here on this show. Well, the truth, if we're talking truth here, let's talk a little bit about what Barack Obama's been up to lately. Nothing. He's done nothing wrong. And you don't need to write your false lies. Then why did he and I make love at the airport in Dallas in 2004? Where at the airport? At the airport Hyatt Inn. Ramada's place at the courtyard. One of the piggies riding in. Sean, that's going to melt your heart. He does not. I hate that. Yeah, he doesn't like his fans, which is weird. You guys are extra funny today. Love the show. Keep it up. Signed, P1 Leg Show. And what's the area code so I can call? Because I have a Chicago area code. You can call us on any of the San Diego area codes. 619-858-760. There's not another area code in San Diego, is there? Nope. So you can call on any one of those. When we lived in Dallas, your sort of status was based on your area code. Oh, really? Yeah. If you were 214, you were hip and cool. Is that a deep element? Wow. Wow, Skye. It was Deep Ellum. How did you know that? Wow. Well, I was watching House Hunters on HGTV, and this gentleman was searching for a home in Texas, and he wanted to move to the cool, hip downtown Deep Ellum area. Yeah, dude, there was Deep Ellum, but I prefer Lowell Greenville. Yeah, dude. Lowell Greenville, dude. That is the way it goes. He didn't shop for a house there. The party there, dude. Ellum's great when I'm dressed up, all right, dude? Yes, dude. You go down to Mike's.
Clown house? Yeah, that's right. The tree house, but it's a clown house. Yeah, we go to the clown house, dude. I got kicked out of there many times. I'm not kidding. You're right, dude. Yeah, a bunch of clowns. Anybody got a light? Yes, dude. My dealer lives right around the corner. That's right. I get a bump. I'm not joking. You should say you are, though, Woods. You don't want to get yourself in trouble. Nah, dude. I'm serious. I'm just going to stop there real quick. Guy's going to get himself in a lot of trouble saying things like that. We're on the air, Woods. We're on the air. We're on the air. You don't want to say that on the air. Not a good idea. For your boy. Okay, thank you. That was Steve Woods. Nice of you to stop in. He's taking a bow. That's great. There's a guy out there. He's an iMac owner. He's suing Apple because he says that when he got his iMac, and I got one of these, the iMac, he says that when he got his, that they said to him, yes, this thing has millions of colors.
And he bought it and he says it doesn't have millions of colors, so I'm suing them. He says it only has 262,144 colors. Not the millions. Are you serious? So he is suing and he is seeking a class action status for his lawsuit. So if any other iMac desktop owners are upset because they don't have millions of colors like they were promised. They can jump on this dude's lawsuit, which is currently pending. That's a consideration. I would not. I would not jump on the lawsuit. But they promised millions of colors. I didn't know that, though. So I would feel guilty. But I can't tell that I think I am getting millions. What do you think of that? It looks like millions to me. Hey, did you guys hear about this proposal? This dude proposed to his girlfriend. And his girlfriend was a pageant winner, right, Skye? Yeah, this all went down this weekend at the Miss Rodeo Lakeside pageant. Right here. My fave. Right here at Lakeside. That's my fave. You were a big runner-up, Ash. It was close. That's right. Maybe next year, girl. Maybe next year. So what's the deal, Skye? This girl was Miss...
Lakeside Rodeo? Is that how you say it? 2007. Or am I saying it wrong? Is it like Miss... Because you have to say... Miss Rodeo Lakeside. Miss Rodeo Lakeside. 2007. 2007. And what happens? As she's relinquishing her crown? Yes. To the 2008 winner. Uh-huh. This happens. Cut 41. Not only do we think that you're amazing, but there is somebody else here that thinks that you're very amazing, too. So... I'm going to call that person up on stage. Oh, she's terrified. A handsome cowboy. And now you're just going to have to pull it together. That's very sweet. How come they don't play the part where she says yes or no? They don't have the parts where she's... What happens? She said no. I think she said yes. How do you know? No, I think now I'm thinking maybe she said no because they didn't play it. Obviously they would have played it if she had said yes. Now I'm worried that... So she said no. No, she said yes. Wow, what a story. The girl says no in front of millions of people and colors. Well, she said yes and it wasn't millions of people. And all of them were there. Were there millions or not? It was lying. What I heard was... There were millions of colors, I know that. I heard every woman left crying and crushed and...
I'm wearing Wrangler jeans right now. That's good. I appreciate that. I had this pair when I was in second grade, so they're a little tight. They're a little bit tight. Second grade? So you had to do the thing where you laid on the bed. I had to lay on the bed, and I had to hold my breath. Yeah. And I got a coat hanger, and I put it in the zipper, and the bulldozer trying to get the zipper off. And I went, careful, careful, careful. Oops. That's Eddie. Ow! One time when Eddie and I lived in Rochester, he put a boot above the door. Yeah. Well... Then what happened? I think it was a boot. Oh, no. It was a... High top or something. Yeah, it was a big shoe. A big shoe. A big shoe. Yeah. It was one of Shaq's. You gotta win... Well, I got big feet. You know what they say. Okay. Anyway. Big feet, big prankster is what they say. This is a good prank. He just opened the door up. He made it ajar. Yeah. Put the door ajar and then he put the shoe...
He put the shoe up on top of the door jamb. And then he goes, Mom! Dude! It was very frantic. You gotta sound like you're in distress. And so, I'm a good friend. I went running in. And when I opened the door, the shoe, it fell on my head. Oh, no! It fell on my head. Right ahead. Eddie laughed so hard he almost vomited. Oh, no! I couldn't see that. Oh, dude, Sean, it was great. He laughed so hard. I just seen that shoot in his head. It was like slow motion shoot. And you guys know, you know when Eddie gets that point where he's laughing so hard. It was one of those, man. And I was not. I didn't even smile. That made it even funnier. That was a good one. And it wasn't April Fool's. It was April Fool's. All right, we have to take a quick time out. Text us at 35253 if you want. You can call us at 570-1053 if you want. We still got to get to these top 10 April Fool's pranks. They actually put out a list on CNN of what the top pranks are that people pull on each other. See, I always thought, because this says pranks, right? I always thought that April Fool's was just like...
You tell somebody something and they think it and then you go, oh, April Fool's, I'm just messing around. I didn't realize it's like pranks. But that's what they say. They're saying. You can do anything. So you can actually pull a prank. It's a great day. Yeah, that's right. You're chewing the door, man. That's right. So we got to get to that. But next we're going to do something called Wuss Rock Jukebox. Ever heard of it? The deal is that if you're a dude and you know Wuss Rock songs, And by wuss rock songs, I mean like the stuff they play on Kixie. Then you call us right now, and we're going to play a clip from one of those songs, and when it stops, you start singing, and there you go, you win. We'll do that next. Oh, boy, was I hungry. Glad we stopped at Mickey D's. Me too. How's your Angus third pounder? You mean my new Angus Chipotle barbecue bacon third pounder? I'll tell you in a second. Good? It is sweet, saucy, spicy, my little love bomb. So then you like it? I love it. A chipotle dream. Sizzling bacon on your American cheese. Doing a tango with my senses. Much like you. Well, it's nothing like me, really. But it does sound like a great burger. Not just great. It is 100% Angus beef caressed by chipotle barbecue sauce. An Angus chipotle barbecue bacon third pounder. Well, good. Um...

Uh, Mikey, I have felt like a part-time P1 until yesterday. I went to Sleep Train so that I could have a reference to compare used mattresses on Craigslist. I took my three-year-old in there, which is typically a bad idea because she doesn't have the ability to self-calm herself yet. I digress. But my point is that they made it so easy to figure out which mattress I wanted that I ended up buying one at Sleep Train. I really wanted the Beautyrest World Class Paris Plush, but it was out of my budget. which is why I felt I needed to buy a used one. I love it when black people make fun of white people. Boston Rob. I'm a go-getter. Go-driver. The Mikey Show's on. 5-3. It's the Mikey Show. It is 7-0-2. Slicing up garlic with a razor blade. Don't really know why, but he's out there. Mikey, my boys and I are in the military, and we can't thank you enough for your support in keeping us company on these long days. We love you, bro. Thanks, Mikey. It's P1 Nick. Next one says, that shoe thing made me laugh so hard I had hot coffee come out my nose. Should have been there. Says, thanks, guys. That's P1 The Wrench. Yeah, it was his. It really was. Yeah, I remember it a little. Our memories may be different of the situation than each other's, but to each their own. Everybody has their own experience. If you could have seen it, you would have laughed. Maybe. Maybe that was the deal. You had to be there to see it. That's what I'm talking about. Why not? Come on. Let's do this. Well, Seth. Glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Hey, fellas, can you sing like a wuss? This is what you do. You call us, and we're talking like the Celine Dion type stuff. Celine.
They all. Cheese whiz. Cheese whiz, she says. And you call us. Cheese whiz. Thank you, Celine. And you call us. You know these songs. I know these songs. Obviously, the only reason I know them is because at one point I worked at a radio station that played them. You know, I didn't have a choice. I didn't have a choice. No, it's your favorite. It's the only reason I knew them. Don't start piping. Then why are they all on your iPod? My wife shares my iPod. That's not true. That is not true. But if you are kind of gay like me in that way, then call us up, 570-1053. They don't call it a gay pod for nothing on my iPod. I've got songs on there that are a little feminine. Well, they're flimsy. They are flimsy. Flimsy. So here's what we do. You call us at 570-1053.
Folks that are allowed to play are guys. It's just not funny if a girl's singing a Celine Dion song. Because you should know it. That's true. You should, as a woman, you should know it. It's your right as a woman. That's right. But it is against the law as a man to know this. It is not your duty. You would get caned in most countries. Yes. Really? Yeah, in Singapore. In Singapore, they'd put you over a block. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So you call us right now at 570-1053, and what you do is we'll play a clip from the song, and then when the clip abruptly stops, you start singing the rest of it. Now, only two rules. You cannot say, I can't hear anything. You can hear. We have it turned up plenty loud. And the only other thing that you can't do, if you don't know the words, don't go, I don't know the words to this song. Immediately out. You're immediately out. Now, you'll be judged on what kind of whoosh you are by Eddie, Sky, and Sean. All right? They're going to say whether or not you make it or you don't. They're just like Paula, Randy, and Simon. Yeah, I'm Paula. Sky, who are you? Because I'm on Valium.
I'm obviously Randy because I'm the nice one. There you go. And black. Big brother. That's right. So let's do this thing. I think you may recognize the name. Who? Don't. P1 Buckley is on the line. P1 Buckley. The king. The king. P1 Buckley. Of Wuss Rock. Of the king. 5701053. If you're a guy and you know Wuss Rock songs, call us. What is the prize today, Eddie? Well, let me just say that Buckley could be a Hall of Famer just on the grounds of Wuss Rock alone. Absolutely. Which is hard to do just on one thing alone. The prize today, we have more Mount Baldy lift tickets. Yes. Mount Baldy. Yes. I just read what's in front of me, Mike. I was going to say, I don't think you should make up prizes. I'm not. I'm not. I'm sure it's a fun trip up that slope. Well, listen, if you are a skier, then call us because we got tickets to Mount Baldy and you can go, so 5701053. That's right, if you're into boarding. I am. I'm an enthusiast, and so you can't keep me off. I'm a food enthusiast, really, though. I didn't mean skiing.
Let's do this. You do like Mel Baldy, though. Here is Buckley on the line. And Buckley, what I'm going to do is I'm going to play a clip for you. And when the clip stops, you start. Can you do that for me? How do we play this game? Yes, I believe we have. How do we play it? When the clip stops, you start. Here we go. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I almost did something really bad. Don't do something bad. Here we go. Here we go, Buckley. Eddie's air kissing, by the way. Go ahead, Buckley. Prince himself just pulled out a little purple napkin and started dabbing his eyes when he heard that. You love the song, Mike. That's right. I heard that last night at the Brass Rail. I see. Sure you did. And I was right there with you, buddy. Eddie, what say you? Well, if anybody scoffed when I said that he deserved Hall of Fame recognition, then in your face for that right there. How about that? I mean, when he was singing, I was like, man, I wish we were in an oversized bathtub.
And kind of, you know, scrubbing each other's backs. And he was singing these sweet nothings to me. That's kind of cute, actually. Yeah. That's what I dream. That's my dream. And don't, you know, don't hurt my dream. It's a beautiful dream. Skye, what did you think? Well, you know, I've worked with many talented individuals. Yes, of course. Mariah, Whitney. Jimmy. Yeah, of course, Sinead O'Connor. That's right. So normally I advise not to do those artists, but Buckley, man, you pulled it off. Congratulations. That's two yeses. And what about you, birthday boy? Sean, what did you think of Buckley's performance? You know, just like Sky as a teen, you also run each day to kiss your new kids on the blog post. You did a great job. Bring that bath up. Yeah, have fun at Mount Baltimore.
There you go. Hang on, Buckley. That's right. P1 Breakbread is on the line. Hello, Breakbread. How are you? It's going pretty good. Are you ready to play a little wuss rock? I'm ready. When the clip stops, you start. Here we go. Now what do I do for the rest of my day? And every time I see your pretty face, I get lost in this moment. I stopped mid-cry. Let's go to the judges. Eddie? Of course, Mike, that song most famous for being in Family Ties. It's true. Big moment for Alex P. That's right. And I did have a Michael J. Fox poster in my room. Oh, okay. Did you race up the stairs? Me and this guy. What was his name? His name is P1 Breakbride. Yeah, Breakbride. We were good friends back in the day. Is that right? We would race up the stairs. Yeah.
For some reason, he would let me win every time. And then later I found out it's because he's not gay. Thumbs down. Skye, what did you think of the performance by P1 Breakbread? No, Skye is shaking. She's just shaking her head. She's just shaking her head. It's utter silence. I think the silence speaks for itself. Wow. It's never happened before. Shawnee, oh boy, what did you think of P1 Breakbread's performance? Just stunning. Stunning. That's gorgeous. P1 Siegfried. Good morning. Hello, Siegfried. Hello. How are you today? Good, good. That's fantastic. That's fantastic. I think you know the rules by now. I'm going to play a clip. When it stops, you start. Here we go. Eddie's got a smile. I think that's a good sign. Eddie, what did you think? That was pretty tasty, Mike. I kind of wish I were a tiger and I could maul this guy's face if it was that good. Oh, God.
It was that good. You think a lot of Siegfried is what you're saying. Oh, yeah. I want to just eat that face of his. All right. And Skye, what did you think? Well, I thought that we had a date to go sailing. I see. And I showed up. I was all cute. My little sundress, little picnic basket. And there he is taking off with Eddie in some cut-off shorts. See ya. Very jealous. That's a yes. The boat comes a-rockin'. Sean, what did you think? Please don't do that. Don't do that. And I won't describe it. And I won't describe it. Please don't make that facial expression. And Sean. And Sean. Then what happened? I'm spraying Raid, by the way. Sean. What did you think? Seems to me that you're the type that would want to weave George Clooney's back hair into a security blanket and weep openly. P1 Siegfried, you are a winner today. Congratulations to you. Thank you. I've seen some more Brit Nights at our freeways here this morning as you travel down the coastline on South Ponce out of the 5. A little bit tired here out of Encinitas down towards Solana Beach. South 15, kind of the usual stuff here out of Escondido off and on down to Lake Hodges. And then again over through Rancho Bernardo through the construction zone here. There was a situation with a coaster this morning. It hit a car southbound on the tracks here in Del Mar. And that's going to cause some delays for you if you're traveling on the coaster this morning. A westbound 52, not too bad. A little slowing out of Santee. The west 8 is starting to see a few more brake lights now as you come in towards La Mesa right around Lake Murray. And then you're on your way.
West 94, however, back in a big time in the downtown. There was a bad accident involving a motorcyclist near 25th Street. And that has you on the brakes from Euclid Avenue now all the way into the city. And coming out of the South Bay, looking good on the 8.05, 8.05 northbound. 8.05, a bit tight go out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Okay. PV's day yesterday. He helped the Padres win their opening night game 4-0 over Houston. And it's Shawnee O'Boy's birthday. As those of you that have been listening to the Mikey Show for any length of time know, Sean's hobbies include computers, dressing as animals in a suit, and also putting salt in the milk. How's that? Well, I won't do it. All right. All I'm saying is that Sean... You do the math. Oh, don't do any math. Put the calculator down. Hey, listen. Man plus suit equals weird. That's all we're saying. No, no, no, no, no. Hey, he didn't do it anymore. He used to dress as a... Hey, Sean, you like the horse's ass. That's right. Sean used to be a furry is what they say. And he is an interesting guy.
Shawnee does not live. We're going to put a little bit of the spotlight on Shawnee here. Oh, I love it. Finally, bathing in it. Well, today's his birthday. It's his birthday today. It's my favorite. It's his birthday today. He's turning 38. He is not here in San Diego. He's in the Bay Area. And we see him on a camera. And where do you actually live, Shawnee? San Jose, California, Mike. Do you still have issues with your HOA? Wow, yes he does. Of course. Shawnee is in a constant battle with his neighbors. He really is. It's not like I'm starting anything. It's that I have these... You end it. Of course I end it. I have a bunch of crazy neighbors. The people that I live next to are really nuts. And the guy that's the current president of our sub-association is... I mean, he's insane. Wow. He's really crazy.
In fact, I believe... I am going to try and run for HOA president. Wait a minute. For real, Shani? Absolutely. Platform change? Well, I told you guys... I know what you're doing. I'm not going to bother. But I told you guys last time that... Please don't let that stop you, Sean. What happened? I told you guys last time that despite the meeting that we had where all the residents showed up and they said, we don't want you guys to raise our rates. They raised them anyway. Can you tell us how much they were, how much they are now? Oh, no. I bet it's nothing. Yeah, it was like $7. Yeah, they wanted to raise it $7, but it wasn't the amount. Didn't you get forcibly removed from the meeting? Or you walked out.
Which was it? Which happened? I threatened the guy, and so they told me to leave. That's not good. But the thing is, I didn't really threaten him. All I said was... For children listening, you should not threaten others. You should not. I said, have fun driving through the neighborhood now. That's a threat. He took it as a threat. I didn't mean it as a threat. Shawnee, what did you actually mean? All I meant was... As you're driving through the neighborhood, don't expect anyone to, like, smile and wave and, you know, be nice to you. Right. Expect to get the finger. That's how I would... Well, hey, for those children listening... Look, dude, the thing is, we all showed up. We all asked him not to raise the rates, and he did. All right? Why did he raise the rates? It was some crap about, you know, oh, we got to pay for the roofs and... You know, over time, they're going to deteriorate and we have to fund this and the previous people didn't properly fund it. And the thing is, we have 50 year roof. So why do we have to worry about it right now? Most of us, we aren't even going to be there in a few years. I could buy that. So why do we want to fund the roof? Seven dollars. I mean, it's not very much, but at the same time, why would you pay something? Sean's right. I would agree with that. I would agree. So then that next weekend, he was out walking his dog and.
As he's walking by, he says something like, I hope you enjoyed setting up the HOA for future bankruptcy. Wait, wait, wait. So, Sean, you were actually able to influence everybody to vote this thing down? No, no, no. No, no, no. After the meeting, he was saying, if our plan had gone through, have fun setting us up for future bankruptcy. And I was like... What are you talking about, guy? Like, you're the one who won, you know? So he won and he's still saying that? And he was still getting in my business about it. Wow. And so we had a few words, blah, blah, blah, whatever. And so a few weeks later, he posted anonymously, my wife and I saw him, posted this thing in our mailboxes talking about how there are residents in our complex that want to bankrupt the HOA. Wow. So that we can go public and be within the Santa Clara County's purview. And I'm like, what is with this guy? Why won't he stop? So at the last meeting, I got a couple of people to put in a nomination for me to run for president of the HOA. Oh, my word. Yeah.
Oh, no. Smear campaign. How did he vote? How does one run for an HOA? Is there anything to it? Do you campaign? Do you go door to door and tell people? Yeah, you've got to campaign. There's a whole thing that they do on their website about it. You've got to put all of your things that you're for, things that you're against. You work like 15 hours a day. How are you going to have time to be president of your HOA? That's one of the issues. Currently, they have all of the meetings happen at like 4, 30, or 5 o'clock in the afternoon. And that's been a bone of contention with us ever since the HOA started. Because who can go to that meeting? Who can go? Right. I mean, anybody who works, they can't go. Retired people. Yeah, retired people. And this, you know, jackass. So one of our things is we want to get the meetings moved to like 8 or 9 o'clock at night.
Which they refuse to do. Well, but that's kind of late, right, Shawnee? Well, you have to expect that people aren't getting home until 5 or 6 o'clock at night. They've got to take care of the kids, get everyone fed, and then they can go do their stuff. Wow. He's into it. This is crazy. Dude, I'm like, I'm so mad. I don't even know where my HOA meetings are. Me either, man. I don't know. You know, this guy in my neighborhood, he came to the door and he wanted me to sign something and it sounded reasonable to me. So I was like, yeah, okay. But I don't understand most of that stuff. It sounded reasonable. Yeah. You know, but who understands that stuff? Sean, I think, understands it maybe. And so he's really getting into it. Oh, so, but anyway, so we initiated and... an appeal of the rates that they impose, and it goes to a vote next week. Now, if that guy was mad when he was posting up the anonymous stuff before, how upset do you think he's going to be at Sean now? Furious, bro. I can't wait for the meeting, though. Get his face. Oh, my goodness. Sean. Well, Sean. Here's the thing. There are people that are in our community that have purchased these homes to retire.
They want to be there and they want to retire. Sure. And I feel like he is taking their retirement money just because he's like, you know, he has a little bit of power. It's a power grab and he doesn't care. He's on a power trip. That's right. Ashley says he's on a power trip, Sean. For sure. For sure. Sean, I care about you and I want to wish you a very happy birthday. His blood pressure is very high. A very, very happy birthday to you. I think that... This could potentially become a big issue for Sean. The anxiety. Well, I would just like to know where the money for the roof is supposed to come from. He's saying you don't have to do it. You don't have to do it, he says. But eventually you will, and I think it would be a bigger strain on the retired people on a fixed budget to have to come up with thousands of dollars. Are they going to be there in 50 years? Someone's going to be there in 50 years. Someone will be there in 50 years, and at that time, that person will make the decision, oh, I'm going to buy a home with a roof that may need to be repaired. Sky, what say you? But doesn't it fall under the Homeowners Association?
To fix the roofs? Well, it falls, yeah, it falls under them to fix the roof, but obviously someone's got to fund it, so the residents will fund it. Well, can't they raise the rates in, say, 10 years? Yeah. And still be okay? Yeah. And then just hope that thing happens to the roofs. Or, our point, excuse me, excuse me. Oh, no. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I'll just say. Scott, you're picking a side right now. I'm just saying. Can I say something, please? It's better to have more money in the fund than not enough. However. Well, she's got a big deal. However, may I speak? May I speak? May I speak? May I speak? Yeah, go ahead, Sean. May I speak? You have the floor. Please. All of these numbers are based on a report that was done or a study that was done, which we do not have the report for. So we want another report done. Which will cost money. It will cost $4,000 to do. You're basing your policy on ignorance. Exactly. And we want another study done. Sounds like a good campaign. It's a campaign of ignorance, isn't it? I mean, after all. That's a good platform. You guys. Don't pile up. But you know, I think Sean has a point. What, Mike? Well, I mean, why on earth would anybody want to spend more money on something if they can, in fact, band together and spend more money? $4,000. That's interesting. Look, we want a proper study done. What's wrong with that?
Nothing, Sean. No, and now that study will only cost the homeowners $10 a month. It will not cost them $10 a month. How much? Well, it's going to cost $4,000, but it's already been budgeted for this year. So we don't have to worry about it. My hope is that once they get into this campaign, that nobody looks into the past, because I'll tell you what, it could be embarrassing if, you know. It's going to be really embarrassing when we find out that the first report that was done... had inaccurate numbers in it, which is what we think is going on. What if the guy that Sean's running against found pictures of Sean in his furry outfit? Your leisurely time, though, Eddie, has nothing to do. Oh, really? Your leisure time has nothing. Sean has now turned his camera upside down and spun it out of the direction of us. Hey, listen. Doesn't bamboo make very sturdy roofs? That is true. I mean, so Sean's practically an expert in roofing. Wow. You know what? I'll see you guys later. Bye. No, Sean, stop it. Don't leave. You're going to walk out of a debate? This is what they call a win-win. Oh, no. Win-win. It's a win-win. I love Sean. Sean, come back. Sean, come back. It's Mikey. The Mikey Show is on. into this so bad. Rock 105.3. Come back. It's the Mikey Show. It is 734. The original members of New Kids on the Block are scheduled to announce their reunion Friday morning on the Today Show. Well, thank goodness the Chargers get an extra pick. They were awarded a fifth round compensatory pick for losing Donnie Edwards last year. Yeah, dude. So what are their picks? Where are the Chargers picking? They don't have very many. They got a first round pick. Now they have a fifth-round pick. I think they got two sixth-round picks and a seventh round. Really? Because they gave up their picks for Chris Chambers when they made the trade for Chris Chambers. Right. They picked Paul Oliver in the supplemental draft, so they lost a fourth-round pick that way. And how did they lose their pick? Oh, they traded it last year. Really? The draft, yeah. So what do you think? Because I'm so out of it, dude. I don't know anything going on in this draft.
What direction might they go with that first pick? They could go in a few different directions. A lot of the experts are saying they're going to take a safety, which would be fine. I think they need some defensive backfield help. I wouldn't mind them getting some more depth along either side of the line, offense or defensive line. If one of the stud running backs is there, why not pick him? Because they don't have Michael Turner this year. So there's a lot of different ways they can go. They're in a good spot. Speaking of the Chargers, did you guys know that Sean Merriman is going to be a judge at the Miss USA pageant? Stop making stuff up. I'm not making it up. I'm telling you, I'm reading it. That's crazy. Yeah, right. I'm reading it as fact that they're going to have him as a judge. What? April 11th, the Miss USA pageant will air live from Vegas on NBC with Donnie and Marie Osmond as the hosts. Sean Merriman has been announced as one of the judges along with Joey Fatone, Heather Mills. Heather Mills? Heather Mills? Yeah. That's a good role model. That sounds terrible. Merriman. We've got to call that guy. Find out what's going on with him.
He's here. He's in the house tonight. Where is he? Where's Sean Merriman? Where did he go? P1 Jesse, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mikey. How you doing? Hey, Jesse says he deals with HOA people all the time. We were just talking about how Sean's going to run for the head of his HOA. Yeah, and I can kind of see it from both sides. I know what Sean's talking about. And a way to explain it where most people understand it is it's kind of the difference that Sean's having with his board president and him. It's kind of like how you look at the philosophy of raising taxes or cutting spending. And his board president's in favor of raising taxes by raising the dues to cover future projects. And if Sean wants to have a chance of beating the guy in an election, the way he would have a better chance of doing it is saying to the HOA is we don't have to raise dues. We can look at cutting spending. For example, you look at what are you paying your landscaper out there? Have you gone out to bid in the last three or four years? That's a good idea, Sean. Then you can accomplish both things, and then you're happy with your neighbor. I like that a lot. Yeah, Sean is actually considering this. I need to hire this guy. Hey, Jesse, very nice work. Thank you. No problem. There you go. So Sean is figuring it out right now. Huge. This is kind of interesting stuff. I didn't know this, but apparently there are a couple of twins.
That play for Stanford, Eddie? Oh, yeah. The Lopez twins, man. Didn't know. The Lopez twins. Yeah. Tall Mexicans? Kind of, yeah. I am Mexican. I didn't get that gene. They kind of have gay first names. What are they? Robin. And what's the other one's name? Sandy. Yeah. Farrah. Yes. Olivia. Glenda. But they're real good. What sport? Basketball. And they're going to go into the NBA draft. Yeah, they declared they're going to enter the NBA draft together. Twins. I hope that the same team picks them. One's way better than the other one, though. Really? Way better, but he's better. You know that law that they were trying to pass in Oklahoma where the college kids, if they were registered, could carry a weapon on them? At the colleges? Well, it's fizzled out. Not so much. Great. Yeah, it made it over some of the first hurdles, but yeah, not so much, especially since most of the educators weren't behind it. They thought it would lead to too much confusion if there ever was an incident on campus, like who's the criminal and who's the good guy. Yeah. Not so much. I don't know if you heard about this, but a couple weeks ago, it was either a couple weeks ago or last week, the campaigns are going on and everybody's out there campaigning for their people.
Chelsea Clinton is speaking at Butler University, Sky? Yeah, a couple weeks ago. So she's there and this dude raises his hand. It's like the last question. This kid raises his hand and he asks her if she thinks that Monica Lewinsky having sex with her dad does anything to her mom's credibility. Like, does it mess up her credibility? And she, you can tell, is really taken aback by the question. And she actually took a little while to answer it, you know, because you could tell she's thinking, she's thinking, which was kind of surprising to me. It made me think in all of the different preparations that they go through, I would have immediately thought that they would have said, hey, listen, if some whack job happens to ask about this, this is the proper response. But it looked like she was really taken off guard and she thinks about it for a little while and she says, you know,
I have spoken to probably over 70 colleges, and I've been asked any number of questions. That's the first time that question's ever been asked. And, you know, it's really none of your business. Yeah. That's what she says. Nice. That's BS, too. What do you mean? I have a hard time with that. What do you mean? Tell me. Talk to me. If she's going to go out there and campaign for her mother, she has to expect those kind of questions. It's a legitimate question. I have no problems with that question being asked of her, and she should have a response. So you're saying that... Now, do you think that it is her... That it is her right to say none of your business? Or do you think, no way, man. If you're going to be there, you better answer. It's her right. You don't have to answer it. Right. But I think you lose credibility. Well, guess what? It happened again. No way. Cut one. Recently, at a college, you were asked whether... Your father's relationship in the White House. Pause. He knew he was going to do it. He knew that it was going to get worldwide attention for asking it a second time. And you can hear that the weight of it is so nerve-wracking. Right. Hey, listen. If this is something that you feel is justified...
Okay, ask the question. But if you're going to be that nervous, it's a little telling in terms of whether or not you thought it was okay. Whether or not it is okay is something to be debated. I agree with Eddie. Hey, listen, if you're going to be on the campaign trail, you're going to be asked questions. You know, what are you going to do? Unpause. Did your relationship in the White House had any effect on or did it detriment your mother at all? And you responded saying that it was none of that person's business. And I would like you to briefly say whether or not it's not our business and why that's so. It's none of your business. I would like you to say whether or not that is our business or it's not our business. That guy was not very well spoken. Marble mouth. Well, I mean... He may have had something there if he had gone, you know, and I do think that it is our business because, you know, you're talking about the biggest office in the land. And a lot of these things were made public. And, you know, after all, it was a very public situation. And I'd like to know a little bit about character. So I want to know, like, where are you coming from here? But I think his question was, why is this none of our business? I agree. He just couldn't say it. Marble mouth. Unpause.
And why that's so? It's none of your business. Right, but I would like to send out. Because fortunately, unfortunately, he is the president or was the president at that time. So as American people, I feel that it is our business. Sir, I respectfully disagree. I think that it's something that is personal to my family. I'm sure there are things that are personal to your family that you don't think are anyone else's business either. But also, also... I have an observation and a question. Let's say that it was a personal and non-political situation like drunk driving. Okay? It doesn't have something to do with politics, but it's breaking the law in the same way that what he did was breaking the law. Because by definition, he broke the law.
In regards to the Clinton family? Yeah, well, when he did the thing, you know, he lied to the Senate committee. And so there was a crime committed. And I'm wondering, let's say it was drunk driving. And let's say that her mom, Hillary, came out and said, well, I'm standing by my man, you know, and I think it's okay. Which, you know, wife wouldn't. Maybe the reason that this one's different is because it directly affects her. The drunk driving maybe doesn't directly affect her. Maybe she was in the car and allowed him to drive drunk. Perfect. Perfect. Now, if somebody asks about that, I love that. Because if somebody asks about that, aren't they saying, you know, you stood by during this thing that was wrong. Talk to me about it. I know how I would respond to it. You know, all my stuff is based on.
God's rules, God's principles, what God wants for me. Maybe her rules are different, but if they are different, I want to hear them. I kind of think the kid has a point in saying, hey, I just want to know your thoughts. Do you think that this affected her credibility? Her credibility was called into question. There were a lot of women that were really mad that she went, my husband cheated and I'm staying in it. Now, my principles say you stay in it. You know, you stay in it and you stay in it. But I understand that some people's principles aren't that. Sky, you were like, yeah, you know, a lot of women were upset about it. Were you upset about it or what did you think? Yes, I was very upset. I thought she was setting a bad example for women by just, you know, standing by her man and, you know, allowing him to cheat and kind of disrespect their marriage. So what do you think? Does dude have a point in asking Chelsea Clinton that question? Is it a fair question or is it an unfair question? And 570-1053, and our text number is 35253. Interested in hearing what people think. What do you think, Skye? Is it fair or is it unfair? I think it's fair, but I don't think it's fair to ask that question to Chelsea. It's fair to ask to Hillary. Yeah, or to Bill. Why not? I think it's fair.
Because she is their child. She is not running for office. Yes, I agree. She's out there campaigning on behalf of her mother, and that's something she's choosing to do. But she can also, I believe she has every right to answer or not answer whatever question she wants to. Eddie, what do you think of that? I disagree. I mean, if you're out there and you're campaigning, you've got to expect those kind of questions. And so she has to answer everything she's asked. She doesn't have to answer, but again, if you don't answer, then it hurts your mom's credibility. Yeah, are there people that are thinking? Are you thinking, since you've heard that, are you thinking, well, you're afraid of the answer and you don't want to give it? What are you hiding? So, Eddie, you believe that Chelsea's answer hurt her mother? In my eyes, it did. Wow. Now, what did it enforce in you? It made me think that there's, you know...
It reminds me of the shadiness about the Clinton family. And it makes me think, well, you know, if you're out there campaigning for your mom and you're not willing to answer questions, then why are you out here? Now, how about you, Scott? What did it make you feel? To me, it's actually the opposite. It reminds me that these are real people. This is a real family. And for a daughter to have to go on a national stage and discuss her father's infidelity is heartbreaking. And it makes me actually feel bad for him. Does it make anybody think that... Well, it's certainly in poor taste, right? Maybe the question is in poor taste, but an important question, but still in poor taste. 5701053, our text 35253. Very interested in hearing what people have to say. This is the second time it's happened. Will they now take steps to stop it from happening a third time, or will they say, hey, listen, it's an open forum? Yeah, that's going to be interesting to see. You get to ask whatever you want. I'll tell you who I think... is the most upset not hillary i think that bill is probably the most upset because he's going oh man now it's affecting her and it's affecting her too and her and her does it bring all of that pain back for hillary like the pain comes back because she's going well just like then it's not just hurting me it's hurting my daughter i wonder if she's thinking any of that you know this is very personal for me
P1 Andy is calling to weigh in. Andy, go ahead. Hey, Mike, what's up this morning? Not too much, dude. My question is, why are we even talking about Chelsea Clinton? What qualifies her to give an opinion on who I vote for? She's just a kid. Well, doesn't it give her an opinion on her mom? Definitely gives her an opinion on her mom. I'm curious what she's doing out on that campaign trail anyway. Well, she's trying to tell you all the great things about her mom. You have a point there, too. I just think that we're missing the point that, you know, she's walking around giving her opinion on who we should vote for. And she's a 20-year-old kid of a cheating father. She's older, man. Who can't stand up for herself. I have to side with Skye here. Well, no, and that's...
That's not what I'm saying. Scott, I can't believe you said that. No, I said nothing like that. Scott, what a strong opinion. I have nothing bad to say against Chelsea Clinton. I think what you're saying, sir, is the person who's asking the question is dumb. Why does that person who's asking the question care what Chelsea thinks? Because how does that apply to the office? I mean, it doesn't matter. That's Chelsea's opinion. Well, to be fair to this caller, Zeth actually wrote that question for him. So to be fair to that person. I think it's a fair question because she's out there campaigning. And I show up at this event where she's campaigning. I have the right to ask a question about that candidate that she's campaigning for. But you're not asking about that candidate. You're asking about Chelsea's opinion. And that's different. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. How is that different, though, than asking about an opinion on any other topic that comes up? Do you think your mom's health care plan is really cool? Yes, and then you would go on to say the wonderful things about the health care plan. Do you think that your mother standing by your father after the infidelity hurts her character? Because character can be replaced with the word credibility in that situation. I agree. But that's objective. That's an objective question. She can clarify it, though.
It's an objective question, but she can put some clarification on it by saying, well, you know, interesting question. No, I don't think it does affect my mother's credibility. I think it's a BS question. I do, too. I think it's inappropriate. Well, no, no, no. Let me take that back. I think it is in poor taste. But I also agree with Eddie that, hey, listen, you're out there. You're campaigning. It's a big thing. did a lot of stuff in the White House that was questionable. And to call that to light right now while she's campaigning to become president of the United States, I think is absolutely fair. P1, Adam thinks that this is very telling about Hillary in that they didn't really have a plan for this. There was no preparation for this. Is that right, Adam? Is that what you're saying? Yeah, that's correct. It's like a pretty planning on their part.
They didn't have a defense if that questioning were to come up. And we caught them with their pants down. But who's to say this wasn't their defense? I'm sorry to say this. I'm sorry to say this. Don't want to sound sexist. But, in my opinion, we are not ready for a woman. Oh! Whoa! I'm sorry. Well, that's completely sexist. I can't believe you said that again, Sky. Sky told him to say that. And who's to say this wasn't their plan? Who's to say this wasn't their plan for her to say no comment? Hey, let's think about this. Wait, wait, wait. All right. That's probably going to sound like a pig. Again. But where she's, you know, that time of the month, that cycle. Wow. You know, I'm sitting here in the office. Oh, I'm pissed off at China. Let's nuke them. Well, there you go. That's one man's opinion. Well, there's an educated opinion. That is one man's opinion. The Eddie line is ringing. Oh, good. I bet you I know who it is. Hello? This is Barbara. Whoa, what a surprise. What a surprise. Yes, and as you know, I'm a Hillary reporter. Yeah, I'm sure you're upset.
And I just want to say to that man that just called in that he is a moron. I'll say it. And that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Sky, thank you for trumpeting the trumpet of... You're very welcome, Barbara. Oh, no, wait a second. Barbara, your trumpet player over here voted for Barack Obama. That cannot be true. But it is. Oh, no. Well, I did in the primary. And you want to know why, Barbara? Because her husband told her to. I'm sorry. Well, no, that's not why. We discussed differences about the candidates. Because he is black. I heard it was because he likes the Commodores. That could be true. That could be true. I don't know what kind of music he likes. Was it Earth, Wind, and Fire? Thanks for calling, guys. An iMac owner is suing Apple over their claim that the iMac desktop displays, quote, millions of colors. North Carolina's Tyler... North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough and Kansas State's Michael Beasley were unanimous selections to the AP All-American team. I'm having a hard time not talking about it. There's stuff on the board here, Mike. Mike, there's stuff on the board. I'm having a hard time. Sky sleeps with stuffed animals. Is that on the way? She's a 30-year-old woman. Yes, that's what we were just saying. She's a 30-year-old woman. Sorry, what?
This can't be true. What? I just said to Skye, save it for the air, and she said, no, we will not. You guys are lame. Skye said during the break that she is a 30-year-old woman that sleeps with stuffed animals. That can't be true. That's not true. That is not true. That is not true. You do not sleep with a stuffed animal. Well. That is what you said. But Mike was misrepresenting it. By saying animals sort of infers that you sleep with various. Thank you. And where the truth lies is that no. I sleep with. I'm monogamous with my. Oh gosh. Ashley does this. Oh yeah I do. Ashley has Kitty McMue. Yeah I've slept with this since I was born. She's a grown woman. She's a grown woman. How old is she? 24 and a half. 24 and a half. Well, she still says the half part. Well, see, she's this many. She's this many. And Skye is a 30-year-old woman. Actually, she's 30 and three-quarters. So, Skye, tell everyone what you were just sharing with us. Why do you do that? That's bad. I don't like it. Well, first of all, it's not bad, Eddie. It is. This is not a place of judgment here. This is a place of... But I'm judging you in my head. It's an unsafe place. Yeah, very unsafe.
And I haven't... We call it the unsafe tree. I haven't actually slept with a stuffed animal for, like, ever. Like, I can't even remember. Well, you're a grown... You're an adult. Yeah, that's... Well, yes. People should do that. Why would you do that? Well, it was probably about 28 years ago is when she last did this. Oh, right. And so I actually blogged about this a while ago. If you guys were reading my blogs, you wouldn't know... Well, I tried to... Because I like her. Avoid the strong word. Well, I do avoid it. I want to remain friends with that. I don't read into that. I want to remain friends with that. Try not to think too far into what Eddie said. Eddie just gave Sky the eyes that said, you were saying? That's out loud. Sky, tell us about the stuffed animal you sleep with. Oh, my God. Well, this all started back. Remember when we started passing the SARS around? I thought you were going to say passing judgment. And I was going to say, oh, that was many years ago. I thought she was going to say passing gas. That was way off. So remember when we started passing the SARS around like a month ago when we all kind of started getting sickles and Ashley was out sick and all of us were kind of feeling icky? That's right. Well.
So it was a Friday after work and I was feeling icky. And I said, you know what? I want to fight this off. I'm going to stay in all weekend. We're going to watch movies, whatever. So I was cranky. I wasn't feeling well. And we went to Blockbuster. And the boo jokingly pointed. The boo is her husband. Yes. And pointed to one of those machines, you know, that have like the little claw that you put like a quarter in. Yeah, for the kids. That you get to grab a stuffed animal. It's a fun toy for children. For the children, yeah. It's like a game. Yeah. The babies love it. Little ones. Infants. Yes. Toddlers. Okay. They've actually outgrown it, most of them. But they still, you know, the nostalgia of it for the four-year-olds is like, oh, I remember when. A four-year-old can't even do that. I remember when. You know, the preemies. Doesn't make sense. Stop it. So anyway. So the boo pointed to it and said. Would it make you feel better if I tried to win you a stuffed animal? And he said, of course not, because I'm a grown woman. And he immediately brought a smile to my face, and I said, yes, I would. Oh, God.
And on the first try, Mike. On the first try. No way. That's impossible. He's an adult. It was pretty impressive. Dude. On the first try. And it was the one I wanted, too. It's like this white, fuzzy, plush teddy bear. And he has a blue plaid bow tie on and blue little, like, ears and little feet. What did you name him? Well, he came with a little tag that said King Plush because he's very plush. So I refer to him as the king. This is not happening. And I kind of, I took him home and I didn't know what I was going to do with him. So you throw him away. Yeah, or give it to a needy child or something. So I was cuddling with him and then he... Your husband? No, King Plush. And the king made it from the couch up to the bedroom. And has pretty much stayed in the bedroom. And I will do this thing where I now sleep every night with like the king. Like I have to sleep with the king. Go ahead and save that clip.
when I leave in the morning... I'm picturing the Burger King guy. Yes, that's what I was... And when I leave in the morning and the boo is asleep, I will take the king and I will tuck it like under his... No, you won't do that. You won't do that. You're a monster. You're a monster. That is horrific. You won't do that. Well, because I don't want to leave him alone, you know. Why don't you put a dragon on his sleep? I mean, she might as well put lipstick on him, you know? He wakes up in the morning. He's got makeup on. She tucks her tampon in. It's not the same thing. King size plus. So, the boo has made some subtle hints that the king should not stay in our bed anymore. Subtle hints? Why did he just say, get that thing out of here? Well, because he doesn't want to be mean. He knows that I don't think. He got her king plush. Yeah, he won him for me. It was amazing. Amazing. So, you know, since I leave early. Those games are hard. Yeah.
So since I leave early, the boo makes the bed, and lately I've been finding King Plush on my nightstand, further and further away from the bed. P1, Seth, are you there? There's nothing wrong with you. Yeah, I'm here. Seth, go ahead. Go, Seth. Hey, you guys think that's weird? My girlfriend is 27 years old, and her grandmother gave her, like, a silk nightgown. that she'd been wearing for a couple years already, and my girlfriend still wears this to bed every night. Oh, that's not, that is a creepy thing. Wow. Her grandma wore it? Yeah, like it was her grandmother's nightgown. She got it, gave it to my girlfriend when she was born. Dude, it sounds like a Stephen King story. I do that to my grandpa's. No. For sure. When he passed, I got his slippers and then a couple pairs of his pajamas and I wear them during the winter. It still has his smell on it. I love it. I love it because it reminds me of him. My goodness. Take a picture. Don't wear his clothes. His picture's right here. P1 Foodie is on the line.
Oh, look it. Skye's holding up her grandpa's sweater that she's got on right now. Holy cow. I love him. The dead follows you. Okay. P1 Foodie is on the line. Foodie, are you there? Yeah, how's it going, guys? Good, man. What's up? Okay. I never thought I'd be in this position, but I'm actually backing up Skye. Oh, my goodness. Why are you backing up? Turn in your guy card. Was your name Helen four years ago? Shut up. Let him speak. No, I'll be the first one to call guy beating any day of the week. We'll be the second. She is, yeah. And the third. Go ahead. I've got to back her up because I'm a 27-year-old male who has the same blue teddy bear that I was given the day I was born. Well, then you're, you know... Actually... Why did she find that funny? She can see him on a video phone. He's got a bonnet on right now. An oversized baby bottle. Yes, that's why she's laughing. But Ashley does the exact same thing. Yeah, but she's a woman. She's a girl. It doesn't matter. It does matter. You would never go out with a guy who slept with a teddy bear. You don't know that. You were dating P1 Foodie. You don't know that. And you went to Foodie's house. We are dating. And Foodie's 27. He's like, hi, would you like to share my pinkie?
Come on. Stop it. Kiss Mr. Cuddles goodnight. To save myself a little bit, it's not in the bed, it's on my nightmare. You're cool. There's nothing wrong with it, dude. What is its name? Its name is Blue Ted. Very masculine. That's a masculine name. Blue Ted? Mikey, it has a music box inside that plays Teddy Bear's Picnic. What the hell is that? I don't think that. That's the song he plays? I don't think so. I feel safer. You feel safer? Yeah, it's comforting. It is. It is. Why? I don't know. And it's now to the point. Because the bear might come to life and save you? It's been like a month and it's now to the point where I'll wake up in the middle of the night if he's not like in my arms. Skye, imagine how I've been for my entire life, 24 and a half years. I can't even imagine. I can't live without her. Two times I've almost lost her and I had a breakdown. Didn't you come in with her one time? Like during the 28 hour show. I thought you brought her. I will never. Because Rob and Eddie have threatened to steal it. And I will never bring Kitty to you in this place.
there is no doubt in my mind listen there is no doubt in my mind and I know you're a grown up I know that Eddie and Skye feel very very I mean excuse me I know that Eddie and Rob understand how serious Ashley is they understand it I don't think they do, like... They would take that doll without batting an eye. That's so messed up. We would have a whole game plan. We were going to take pictures with it, you know, like with a newspaper. By the Eiffel Tower. And then, yeah. It would be like the gnome. Yeah, we'd send it to her. We'd go to, like, the Coronado Bridge and, like, be dealing with her. I'll have to take a picture. Absolutely. I would freak out, like... Can you imagine if they, like... They somehow were able to get a P1 to recreate Kitty McMue. Oh my gosh. So it wasn't really Kitty McMue. But then Rob videotapes Eddie actually dropping Kitty McMue off the Coronado Bridge. I'm tearing it up right now. Can you imagine? I would laugh hysterically. I would then take Eddie and throw him off the Coronado Bridge. How long have you had Kitty McMue, Ash?
Since I was born. I've slept with her since I was born. You've never known life without Kitty McMew. No, and I used... It's a crutch. That's what it is. I used to take her to travel with me. I worry about this because Jake has various what we call berries. Yeah, those are cute. Like raspberries? No, no, no. What they are is they're a green... They're about the size of a washcloth. It's a blanket that's a little bit bigger than a washcloth. And on the very end of it is a tiny bear head. He's a baby. He's a baby. But he loves it. Of course he does. He's a baby. Dude, he can't be. Start weaning him off them now. That's what I kind of think. My wife does. Let me tell you what my wife does. My wife's got multiple berries. And so if something happens, like if there's ever an accident with a berry, like with him getting sick or something, anything, she just whips out another berry, gives him another berry. He doesn't know. He's usually working with two berries at all times. So when he wakes up in the crib, there's always a Barry. And when you take him out of the crib, usually a little while after he gets out of the crib, he's looking for Barry. You know he wants Barry. You've got to get Barry. So I'm wondering, how long can he have Barry? There's one part of me that says, eh, whatever. He can have Barry. What do I care? He can have Barry. There's another part of me that goes, what if he turns into P1 Foodie? Yeah, you don't want that. No.
And Jake's 27, he's got Barry. My wife says, who cares? What does that matter? Thank you. Come on. You saw the reaction that Ashley had. I'm going to sleep with Kim McMahon forever. No, you won't. Yes, I will. We won't let that happen. Ashley, will this not create a dependency with Jake on Barry? What happens if something happens to Barry? He's crushed. No, that's a really good question because I almost lost her in a hotel one time and I literally freaked out. There was that one time when you almost put him in the garbage disposal? Oh, yeah, I remember that. What? They mailed it to you? Yeah, they mailed it to me. Heck yeah, I had them search the sheets and then they found out that the cleaning lady took them in the sheets and they found it in the washer. The whole hotel was laughing at it. They found Katie McMeow in the washer and they mailed it back to me. Where did that happen? It was at a, what are they called? Double Tree Hotel, I think, in L.A. This was a while ago. I was like 18. Ash, do you regularly wash Katie McMeow? This is when I was 18.
That was when you were 18. That's crazy. Ash, do you wash... You're a grown-ass woman. You're a woman. You're an adult woman. Do you wash Kitty McMew? Uh-uh. No. You do not. I wash your nightgown. I wash your nightgown. Sean just looked like he was going to die. Sean just looked like he was going to die. Leave me alone. Kitty McPew. Hey, Sean, just because she sweats in the summer doesn't mean you're Kitty McMew. the time, if we're being honest. That's so sick. You're a sick person. Okay, here's some of the text messages that we're getting. Grow up, people. Dude, my wife wore her dad's PJs to bed for like a week before I had to stop it, man. It's gross. That's creepy. Mikey, my girlfriend still sleeps with her security blanket that she calls a foofie. It looks like a rag. It's lost all of its stuffing. And she still needs it every night. You know, I just realized this. I've had the same pillow. Now, it's not a teddy bear. It's not a teddy bear. No, but I've had the same pillow for years. Well, I wash it. Like how long? I wash the...
Pillowcase. You don't wash the pillow? I don't wash the pillow. It doesn't stink. It's nice. It's full of lice. But it's perfect. It's about sleep. Look at Sean. Sean, what's the problem? It's the one that you use in the room. I'm kidding. Stop it. P1 Joe is on the line. Hi, Joe. Not too much. Wait. I got a good start. You have to do that now. Hey, listen. On the Mikey Show, when you call in now, if we say, how are you? You have to say back to us. How are you? 25. How are you? Yeah, right? Nice. Anyway, go ahead. What were you going to say? I got my brother. He's 25 years old. And he has a three-foot, you know, and stitch doll. That he drives around with them everywhere, and he puts it in his, and it has a seatbelt, and he locks it in. That movie's only like eight years old. Yeah, that movie's eight years old. And he also takes it to the movies, and he pays for it to go to the movies and sit with them too. Well, wait a minute. Okay, well, your brother's crazy. I don't believe that. That means that he was, what, 13? No. How old was he when, if it's eight years old, if the movie's eight years old, then your brother was like, what, 17, 16 when it came out? Probably. He's a little on the weird side.
Yeah, I would say that's a little out there. For sure. You should see on Big Brother, there's one of these chicks on Big Brother who has her baby blanket. Sean, have you noticed that? Which one? Who? Which one? Sharon. Sharon. Yeah, she has this little blue little silk thing that she always has to have draped on her. And she's always rubbing it with her fingers. She's always rubbing it and rubbing it against her skin. See, that's weird. Why does she do that? Because it's like her security blanket. That's probably what she did when she was a baby. Her babies. Her babies. Her babies. Her babies. What is that? What is that? That's how she talks to the gerbils about. What does she say? Her babies. Her babies. Her babies. Her babies. That's awesome. The ride is easing up somewhat here as this commute kind of starts to wind down. We've got a better-looking King Freeway. It was pretty rough there for a while, but still kind of heavy westbound on the 94 from the 15 still. Leftover into downtown from an earlier accident. Now clear there. The West 8 ride is cleaned up quite nicely. That's a good-looking one all the way to the valley out of the East County. Westbound 52 also looking at some nice speeds at Asante. Heading south on the 15, you'll find a bit of a delay here still through Rancho Bernardo. And then again through Carmel Mountain Ranch down towards Poway. The south outside of the 5 is also still heavy out of Encinitas towards Solana Beach. And coming up under the South Bay, there is an accident. North 805 with the 8 freeway wrapping up on the right-hand shoulder. Heavier traffic though out of Kearney Mesa. Heading up over to 52. Down McLaurin on Rock 105.3. So here's the deal. I'm a little scam artist.
I say to the people over at the Hard Rock, downtown San Diego, I say, you know, I'm sitting here telling people, yeah, they should invest in the Hard Rock. You should be an owner. You should get one of them suites and live like rock royalty. Yeah, rock on. Yeah. But I don't know what that means. I'm not officially an owner. I'd like to be. Can you show me what the dealio? Yeah. And they go. All right, Eddie, what's up, man? Okay, come on down. And we'll set you up. We'll treat you like an owner. And you can live the life as an owner for a day so you can see what we're talking about. Sounds lovely. So this Friday night, I'm big balling. I'm rolling out. You're big pimping? Big pimping. I'm going to check in. There's actually like a place where you go when you check in if you're an owner. It's like an owner's green room. Yeah. And you're immediately set up. They go, you're going to have a drink in your hand in the first two seconds you get there. I'm like, well, okay. I like that. So I'm going to find out what the deal is, how owners are actually treated on Friday. And I can tell you already, it's going to be awesome. I'm going to Nobu. I'm going to go into one of the bars afterwards. I'm going to stay in one of the suites.
I want to live like rock royalty. And you can, too. All you got to do is invest, man, because you're going to make money and live like a big pimp. Love it. So hook it up. He drives in two runs, throws seven shutout innings as the Padres won the opening night game last night. Four to nothing over Houston. Sweet. Jake Peavy. We're sitting here. We're talking. We're taking your text at 35253.
People are texting us about what we were talking about, which was, you know, grown adults that sleep with stuffed animals like Sky was admitting to us that she sleeps with King Plush. Yeah, she said in the break she's very ashamed. I'm not ashamed. I love the king. We even got a call from a 27-year-old guy named P1 Foodie, and he said that he is an adult 27-year-old man that sleeps with... Some kind of thing. Got a text here that says, Mikey, did he say P1 foodie or P1 fruity? No, it didn't. This one says, hey, Mikey, I have a bunny that my dad gave me at six years old. I still sleep with it. It's got sentimental value. Nothing wrong with that. Signed P1 to Fina. That's a lot wrong with it. Still can't get over the one that said that they call their security blanket their foofy. That's just a goofy name. Sounds gay. A foofy. So we got some people calling in. Yeah, because it's babies. P1 Rebecca's on the line. Oh. Hello. Hi, Rebecca. So, yeah, I used to be like Mikey and think it wasn't that big of a deal and that they would grow out of it. And my son had this receiving blanket that started out big, and he used to carry it around while he sucked his thumb. And he would, like, stick it up by his nose all the time. And, like, he loved the way it smelled. And it started falling apart, and it turned into, like, this little tiny thing that...
He would carry around. He called it his ninny. And it finally, like, died. And then he picked up this stuffed dog that he called Freckles. And he would carry it by its tail and put the tail up by his nose. And I had to always sew the eyes back on it. Oh, man. And so he carried that around until he was 11. 11? He realized that he was going to be going to sixth grade camp. Yeah. So he better get rid of it. So he actually learned, though, and he weaned himself off of it. So he got himself, okay. Now, my guess is that most kids will not do that. I think most kids, you know, it sounds like your son showed extraordinary maturity to be able to say, I'm done with my freckles. Yeah, well, he was way too big. I mean, it was silly, but he only did it at night and only at home. Tried not to have it when friends were around. But, yeah, he did go, wait a minute. I'm going to sixth grade camp. I can't be stuck in my thumb. I can't be carrying around this thing. I'm sure he appreciates mom calling into a radio show. Letting everybody know that, too. What is his name? Yeah, well, yeah, what is his name? Yeah, Frank. Thank you, Rebecca. Bye. P1 Campo Chick, are you there?
Yes, I am. How long have you slept with your stuffed animal? Over 20 years. Oh, wow. Cute. How old are you? I am 30. Really? So I've had this thing since at least fourth grade is my earliest memory with it. Wow. Now, what do men in your lives, what do they say when they find that you've got this thing? They kind of laugh about it at first. The problem is with me is I really don't like sound and light, so I actually sleep with it over my head. It's like this perfect shape where it totally blocks out all sound and all light, and I sleep with it. Yeah, that is a good visual. Holy cow. And what is its shape like? Very, very flat. It's just a basic kind of like 10-inch, 12-inch teddy bear, but the body is so flat from so many years that it fits.
perfectly over my face wow i feel you and it blocks out blocks out the sun yes and sound yeah so i because i can't sleep with radios or televisions on so Don't feel bad. Mike wears a mask. I don't wear the mask anymore. No, it's not. That's embarrassing. Don't mention that he wears a mask. Did it for a season. I stopped. It was a little thing. I did it for a while. During sweeps. Thank you. P1 Steve. How's it going, Mikey? It's good, man. How are you? Good. What do you sleep with? I have a monkey pillow I started sleeping with about six months ago. My wife bought it for me after I blew out my shoulder. I had to have surgery, so she brought it to me in the hospital. And now I have to sleep with it up underneath my shoulder to support my shoulder. See, you sound manly to me, so I'm okay with it. Eddie, I can tell, is not okay. How'd you blow out your shoulder, sir? Was it hugging your mom too tight? Okay.
That is not, Eddie, do not give him an air high five. Do not give him an air high five for that. Well, Eddie, what about Kobe? Remember when Eddie was sick in the hospital and brought him Kobe? I do not remember Kobe. What was Kobe, Eddie? Well, Eddie was in the hospital. Eddie's got a look on his face right now like, why are you telling the Kobe story? Turn the sound down in my headphones. I don't want to hear this. Eddie was in the hospital and all the friends put together a basket and we all were in charge. Was I drinking at the time? It was this guy, but she's... Gave you guys all credit. Yeah, I pretended like we all did something. Like you guys cared. Yeah, and so there were magazines. I think, Mike, you brought your DVD player to let him borrow, and we put DVDs, and I put a brown teddy bear in there, which Eddie named Kobe, and I'm just wondering whatever. That was around the time of the Kobe Bryant trial. Oh, wow! Well, that's certainly time to go to another problem. But where is it? Where's Kobe? I have no idea. Oh, don't you lie. That's a lie. It's in my closet somewhere. I didn't throw it away. I kept it. P1 Oceanside is on the line. Kobe. Hey. Kobe's a little rough. I'm a long, long, long time listener, first time caller. Yes, yes. What do you sleep with, P1 Oceanside? I do not sleep with anything. I am proud to say that. I'm proud to be an American. The only thing I have to say is that I can understand if...
somebody has like a loved one that they do not live with. I'm sorry, Oceanside. Can you hold on just a moment? Oceanside. You don't have to say everything. But I can hear the laughter. Every time you have to point it out. In the middle of that guy's explanation there. Eddie takes a balled up piece of paper and it hits Skye directly on the face. And he tosses it so delicately. And she doesn't move. And she sees it coming and it goes bonk and it hits her and falls. It's a little game we play every morning. It's a game. It's fun. You love it. I do not. I get the feeling she does not love it. Oceanside, I'm going to have to have you start again, please. All right. He's proud to be an American. First time caller. Long time listener. We love that. I want to say that I am not... I do not sleep with stuffed animals, which I am proud of. And the only explanation I can give is that if a person has a loved one and they're not with them or something, and the loved one, like, you know, sprays it with their cologne or perfume or whatever. Yes. And, you know, that would pretty much be the only reason. Fuck.
You have to understand, my friend Eddie... Yes, he's a 34. Yes, Eddie's a 34-year-old man. Yes. That was genius. That was genius. The idea of saying... What about a part? That was superb. That was superb. Oh, my God. It's Sean's birthday. I love it. I love it. Wait until I get my hands on Kitty McMillan. See, Oceanside, I agree with you. I think that for the person that is holding on to it, it's a wonderful thing that reminds you, but everybody else, they probably think it's strange. For sure. Thank you for the call. P1 Marcos is on the line. Good morning, guys. All right, all right. On a serious note, I mean, there has to be some kind of long-term effects.
that comes from this. I mean, I'm really scared to hear all these people around my age, man, and I'm not those people. You know, it's scared to hear these people are in the fabric of our society. I mean, am I wrong, Eddie? You're not wrong. Marcos, but let me ask you, if you started dating, let's say you met a beautiful girl, okay? And let's say you met her at work. She's really beautiful. And you guys go on a few dates. And you are just, you are falling for this girl. She's the most beautiful woman you've ever seen. You're telling me that if you go to her apartment and you see that she sleeps with a stuffed animal, you're not going to think that's cute? I'm going to think that's cute, Mikey. But if I care about her. There you go. I don't think it's cute. That's the thing. Eddie doesn't think it's cute. You think it's cute. I don't know what you're arguing about, Marcos. You think it's cute.
But what he's saying is eventually he's going to shame her out of it. You know what? I take that back. I don't think he's cute, Mike. That's right. I think I just said that to move on to my point. Honesty. Honesty. I like it. Hey, I'm in on you. You wouldn't hate her then. Okay, so really... It's not a deal breaker. It's not a deal breaker. Hey, Ashley, he's lying, right, Ash? Yeah, no, I definitely... You're saying it's not a deal breaker. It's not a deal breaker. Yeah, I was going to say, that's crazy. But I don't think it's cute. I think it's kind of stupid. But Eddie, you have to make a decision. Are you down with this girl? If I met Ashley and I decided I wanted to date her and all of a sudden I show up in her bedroom and she's got Kitty McPugh and I go, what's the matter with you? You're an adult. And we have this huge argument about it and it's great. But I'm not going to not date her because she's got Kitty McPugh. Yes, she's got Kitty McPugh after Rob got older. And this guy on the phone is fine. Thank you. Marcos, thank you for calling in. P1 workaholic. What's going on? There is 26, graduated cum laude from Notre Dame. What does that mean? Very high in class. He's got real high in class. Hello. He's in medical school, still sleeps with his baby blanket. Oh, wow. And hides it under his pillow so nobody knows. And what do you think of that? I think it's still a little creepy.
pattern is torn. It's not nearly as big as it was when it was when he was a baby. It's strange. That's a really strange thing to do. Alright, well, thank you for the call. Thank you. Yeah, I don't know. Ashley still does it. She's 24 years old. And my boyfriend doesn't care at all. And Skye, when I leave my house in the morning too, I will do the same thing. I give candy to my boyfriend and he speaks to them Wait, what? First of all, I don't fart. Second of all. Right, blames it on the dog. My dog has a gas problem. Silent but Pugly. This one says, I've been sleeping with my pinky.
For over 20 years, my pangy, you know what that is. It's a penguin. Yes! It says, my wife made me put it in, my wife! You must be one of those alternative marriages. Yeah, okay. We know what you mean by wife, right? So they're writing in from Vermont, huh? My wife made me put it in storage when we got married. My pangy was my best friend. Dude. Who would marry you? Dude. Mikey, I had a blanket that was too big for me to take to camp. And I secretly cut off pieces of it to keep in my pocket. Creepy. Until my grandparents bribed me. Wow. That is creepy, dude. Wow. They are into it, man. A lot of people, man. A lot of people. I'm surprised at how many people, it turns out, are really into having stuffed animals in their lives. A lot of crime in America. That's right.
Animals equals crime. You said it. Sky sleeps with King Plush. Yeah. The king. His name is King Plush. He's the king. Clever. 570-1053. Thanks, Eddie. Let's see. Mikey Show. Hello. Hey, this is P.L. and Victoria. I wanted to talk about this animal that I sleep with. Go ahead, please. No, you don't. Yes, I do. Go ahead. Okay. I was given a bear when I was born. His name was Peekaboo. Even the names are so goofy. It's so goofy when you have to say the name of it. So anyway, my pet's name was Peekaboo. And my boyfriend made me put him in storage. What? That's so messed up. Why did you do that? He made you put it in storage? Why did you do that, Victoria, to your animal? He couldn't sleep in the bed with us. Why? Why did he say that the animal couldn't sleep with you guys? I don't know. He thought I was too old to be sleeping with a teddy bear. I think Peekaboo's crying. I think I can't hear him. He probably is. Is he crying? I think Peekaboo is suffering. You've got to get him out of there.
A trash bag. A trash bag? You're the worst. Victoria. Victoria, you know he can't breathe in there. He doesn't talk anymore. His battery's died. His battery's dead. You're a bad mother. Thank you. I agree. She is. She's a bad mother. Eddie, how are we doing with time here? We should probably break. Listen, we have to. Oh, man. I would love to be able to spend many, many hours, but I can't do it. We have to take a quick time out. When we come back, I got to read you this email. We got an email from a guy that says he works with a hypochondriac. And he wants to know what we think about this hypochondriac he works with. So we'll do it next. Our text is 35253. I'm the type of person that likes to know exactly what I'm going to get before I get into it. That's why I always, whenever I'm doing any kind of endorsement, I always check them out before I pass it on to you, the P1s. I'm telling you, you can trust Amco. When you go into Amco, they will diagnose. an engine light problem, before you ever have to pay for it, it's free for them to diagnose it. They're not going to fix anything that isn't broken. And don't forget the fact that Amco does transmissions, brakes, oil changes. Now, you may be saying to yourself, why Amco? Why would I go to Amco and not take it to the dealership? Well, first of all, the experience. The experience in the database.
They hook up with all these other Amcos with guys that know exactly what problems are going on. And when they experience something that they don't know about, which isn't often, they can go on there and figure it out. Amco is the only place you want to go. It's Amco. Double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. Football helps me to forget any problem in my life. Eddie. That booty is... Delicious. Sky. Oh, my brain is so bad. Today. Sean. Thank you. Be quiet. Boston Rob. I have a Rolodex in my mind. And Ashley. I'm old. Show's on. 105.3. It is 8.56. What are you doing? What's going on? What just happened? What are your people doing? Oh, God, we're whack today. Chelsea Clinton says that it isn't anyone else's business when she was asked about her dad and Monica Lewinsky. The NFL revealed its opening primetime games. You're going to get the Giants against Washington in the Thursday night opener. Happy birthday, Sean. Sean is 38 years old today, and we only have one person on this program that was on American Idol.
And so that means that there's only one person I think that is qualified to sing Sean Happy Birthday today. That's okay. Now we do this on people's birthdays and today is Sean's special day. I'll pass. And so Ashley, anytime you're ready. No, no, no, no, no, no. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. shawnee's 38 uh tell me what you guys think of this email it says uh hey mikey what's up love the show had to write in and tell you about one of my co-workers he drives me nuts because he's such a hypochondriac every week he comes in and thinks he has some new disease it's really stupid he thought he had the avian bird flu for a while to
We don't know. Now he thinks he has a tumor. How can I get this guy to shut up and stop thinking he's dying every week? Thanks. Signed P1 Flinch. Let me tell you. This is a medical matter. That's true. I'm not a doctor. Today, I'm Dr. Phil. I want you to get excited about your life. If you're going to talk to me, you're going to have to be honest. This is going to be a changing day in your life. Let me adjust my lavalier microphone here. There we go. Oh, nice. Put that sucker on there. Hang on. Pick it up. Hang on. That little microphone fell off. It clips right there. Flip it right here. Here we go. There we go. We've got this thing on now. Can you all hear me? Yeah, perfectly. Well, it's wonderful. I think that this is an interesting email that you all got here. For sure. And so let me respond to this fella.
First and foremost, my best to Kramer, Twitch. It's from Paul and Twitch. First of all, flinch. I just wanted to say to him, flinch and nobody knows who Kramer and Twitch are. That whole Britney thing got way out of hand here in Dallas. And Eddie and Mikey, that one's for y'all. Thank you, Dr. Phil. Anywho, in my practice, y'all, the key to curing hypos has always been rigorous work in a device that I created, and I put it out back in the back of our offices, and I call it the washing machine. Okay? You want to know how it works? Can I tell you how it works? Uh, yeah. It's actually a real Kenmore 3x2 cubic inch super capacity, and I stick them in it and say, how you feeling now, T-shirt face? Whoa! That doesn't seem safe. How do you feel inside there? So just like Rob, you're inventing things that already exist. Exactly. Unless I'm doing whites that day, and then I'll call him Choneyhead. Okay, well, that's not... What were we talking about, Kramer and Twitch? No, we definitely were not. You know, Twitch actually cleaned up, Eddie, and he now hosts the TV show American Idol on Fox. Really? Yes, he does. He got very thin and handsome, and he's doing really well. I don't know.
You know, y'all, again, that one was for Eddie and Mac. Yeah, I mean, Dr. Phil, maybe we should broaden our diagnosis here a little bit. Absolutely. How's Cindy Skull? Okay, let's move on. Hang on. Seriously, dude. Now, this is a problem that I have had with a co-worker of mine as well, this whole hypochondriac thing. Oh, really? Yes, it was a woman that I worked with at one time, and her name rhymes with Pi. Pi. Hi. Or lie. Rhymes with my or die. Y'all know the girl that I work with now. Anyway, this gal always has something wrong with her. I remember this one time she had a sunburn. Okay, well, Dr. Phil, we know. I don't think you should. You don't want to get into that. Are you saying you've heard the story before? Well, I don't know. Never mind now. Okay, well. Bye. For another time. Listen, y'all. This is a very delicate situation, what's going on. And in all seriousness, probably the best treatment for this person is something that I like to call shock therapy, okay? Wow, that seems a little harsh. Here's what you do. You get a chocolate bar, okay? And you heat it in the microwave. This is going to be bad. You heat it in the microwave about 15 seconds, okay? You just get it soft, okay?
Put it down at the back of your pants. And then you have a seat. And when it's ready. What does that mean? I don't know. Go over to this head case's desk and just hike up your leg there. And then have a seat on his desk. It's disgusting. And when you get up. Yeah. You're going to leave behind a little bit of therapy for him to deal with. Is that going to help? Problem solved. No, Dr. Phil. Hey, man. Be serious. Come on. Help this guy out. Knock it off. Let me be serious with y'all. Thank you. I would invite the guy into the bathroom for a little heart-to-heart, okay? Why the bathroom? I'll tell you why the bathroom. Now, this person thinks they're sick all the time. Is that correct? Yeah. Check this out, y'all. Okay. When he comes into the bathroom, give him a big hug and tell him everything's going to be okay. Oh, that's nice. I don't like the bathroom, but... Well, I'll get you. You really reassure him. You tell him everything's going to be okay. And then you let go, okay? And you walk out of the bathroom. But make sure he's facing the mirror where you have written, Welcome to the world of AIDS and AIDS. Hang on. No way.
You don't have to do it. I just don't see how that would help. You know, it's called help. And you don't get aids from hugs, dude. I understand that. If you're skydiving, jump out of a plane. You know what I mean? What are you talking about? You gotta get in the water. You are crazy. Now, the only other thing I can think of doing is actually really injecting him with a bubonic plague. Back to Kramer and Twitch. No. I'm joking. In all seriousness now, there's no reason to try and rehabilitate this freak show. I'll tell you why. You're just going to give up? Well, it's so much fun to mess with people like this. I think you understand what I'm saying, Eddie. Of all people, you know, right? I mean, I'm talking about psychos like Sean, okay? I can't relate. I can't relate. Here's what you do. Here's what you do, y'all. What?
When you have a person that's a hypochondriac, they think they're sick all the time, okay? Like Seth and his tumor? That's right, like Seth and his tumor. Wait, what? It is a tumor. Here's what you do. Oh, God. You print out something that looks like a report, okay? Uh-huh. And then you squirt a small amount of ketchup up each nostril, all right? My own nostril? Yes, yes, yes. So, two parts. So far, two parts. Okay. Okay. I printed my Word document. Print something out. Looks like a report. Oh, my God. What are you talking about? A little squirt of ketchup in your nostrils. And then you go over to his desk, okay? And then you say to him... What? You say to him that you just... What am I supposed to say? Are you okay, Dr. Phil? I have a tickle in my throat. Oh, wow. Have some water. Have a sip of water. Let me take some of that. I dropped my microphone. Oh, no. You should re-clip it. Okay, I clipped it back all my time. You got the ketchup squirted in the nostril and you walk over to him and you say, I just got some bad news, okay? Your yearly physical just came back and you are hep C positive and then you fake sneeze the ketchup all over it. That's so... Therapy, you guys. You don't hate me.
It's called therapy. April Fool's. You know, my mother had this same problem. Yeah, she's a hypochondriac too. Your mom's got a lot of problems. So you may want to try. You may want to try what my father did to help her. How's that? Well, it's a variation on something called a Dutch of. I don't follow. What's the variation? I don't follow. Well, he called it, he actually called it a Dutch prison. Hi, what is he talking about? Yes. It's a thing, Ashley. My mother called it that thing that gave her a stroke. It's therapy at its best, y'all. Thank you so much. on the rock. I just wanted to call about AIS. Well, I had an SR-22 from a DUI. And my insurance through Farmers was actually like $450 a month. So I kept hearing you guys talk about them on the radio. So we went down over there and they saved me like $300 a month. I was paying $450. I pay about $145 now. That's incredible. And that's full coverage with SR-22 filing and everything. A lot of these military guys call me, tell me this stuff. AIS will hook you up, man. They saved me over $3,500 a year. Yeah, that's fantastic, dude. Well, congratulations. All right, thank you. Well, I was on genealogy.com. Oh, yeah. And I was doing some research on Barack myself. It looks like he was related to Hitler. That's not true. They were stuck in cover. Cousins removed. Yeah, you're just trying to make them look bad. That's right. And I was looking up Hillary, and Hillary's a direct descendant of the Lord our God. No, that's not true. That's not true. Well, I thought that was pretty fantastic. Listen, I know you want Hillary to win, but you can't make up stuff. Everybody knows Hillary's slogan. If you can give birth, you know your worth. And that is a bad slogan. The Mikey Show continues. Rock. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It is 9-15. I do not usually, when cool things happen sometimes, it's nice to just let them happen. You don't really draw attention to it. And a lot of times when you do something cool for somebody, it's kind of cool when you don't draw attention to it. You do it and you do your thing and that's that. Well, this is a instance where I want to shine a light.
on somebody that did something really cool. It was Amco. And I am specifically not talking about this during a commercial break because it is so cool to me that I wanted to let listeners know about it. And I don't know that they're expecting me to do that, but I think it's really worth bringing up. You guys have met my neighbor, Kate, right? Yes. She came in the studio. So you guys met her. Sweet. Really, really sweet chick. And she lives next door. And she had this really kind of bad thing happen with her vehicle. Drives an SUV. And I noticed that she was, you know, her car was in front of her house for a few days. And it wasn't moving. And so I asked my wife, what's going on with that? And she said, I guess she blew out the transmission.
and we got Kate on the line. Kate, are you there? Yep. Now, I've told the story right so far, right? What exactly happened to your vehicle? Oh, I was just driving home from church on Sunday, and I was at a stoplight, and I went to go, and there was no power, and then a big sud, and that was pretty much the extent of my car was done after that. So you were able to kind of limp home. Yep, two blocks home, and there my car sat with a busted transmission. And it was there for a while. And I remember my wife, you know, I asked Rebecca what's going on. She told me. And we were praying for Kate. We were kind of hoping things would get better for her. Well, I told Amco what was going on. And I said, yeah, you know, she's got this thing. She's got this transmission. And, you know, I wonder if you guys would be able to give her a break. They heard the story. They heard what happened. And they said, you know what? Let us take care of it for her. Tell everybody what they did for you, Kate. Well, I gave them a call, and from the second that I was on the phone with them, they just treated me like VIP. They had a car, or they had a tow truck at my house within, I think, like less than 30 minutes. Whoa. They paid to have the tow truck come and get my car for me. And as soon as my car arrived at their shop, they told me they had it. They were taking good care of my baby for me.
And they just took it from there and I got phone calls almost every day on the progress on my car. And they just treated me like VIP the entire time. I couldn't believe how nice they were. I just think it's so cool when a company does that and they're not expecting anything for it. They felt, see, and I want to make a distinction here. Lest people are listening and thinking to themselves. Well, I don't get it. So this lady's like a homeowner or something, and she's got this big fancy house, and it's not like that. Kate lives in that house. She shares that house with a few people, right, Kate? Yes, I have roommates. And so, you know, she's kind of like a lot of us. She's trying to get by, man. She's just trying to subsist like we all are. And I thought it was extraordinarily... generous and gracious of amco to do it especially when they don't need for us to say anything about it on the radio but when a company does something really cool then i think it's worth mentioning that's awesome and i i just thought it was i trust that company that is really a cool company and uh how's your how's your car running
Oh, it's great. I can't even believe what a huge blessing this is. I mean, like you mentioned, I'm trying to get by. I've been on disability. I hurt my leg a year ago, and I've been on disability. And so it was like one of these things where it was just the biggest blessing in my life for them to come in and do this for me because I wouldn't have a car right now. I'd have to scrape some money together to get that transmission. And it was a huge expense. And for them to just step up like that, I'm still in shock. Yeah. And they treated me so great. And, yeah, I have a car, and it's running great, and it should run great for a long time now. That's so cool. That is so awesome. Yeah, thank you so much. Yeah, thank you to Amco. And, Kate, it's so cool, and I'm really glad that they were able to help you out, and I'm glad that you've got a working car back. Yeah, thank you so much. You got it. I really appreciate it. All right, Kate, we'll talk to you soon. Okay, bye. See ya. She's a nice person. Huge. It's huge. Amco gets transmission place of the day. Amco, right? Huge. Sony Pictures. Figure this one out. Sony Pictures says that they are going to exclusively offer movies to AT&T cell phone users on their cell phone. Well, not download. What do you do, Scott? You stream them? Yes.
You can now stream movies if you're an AT&T cell phone user. Starting in May, yeah. From Sony Pictures. Now, will it be like first-run movies? New movies? No. What will it be? They say it'll be older stuff, stuff that's already been in the theaters, out on DVD. Already been in the what? Already been in the what? Already been on TV. Already been in what? Shut up. I go to the theater. I go to the theater. I go to the theater. I go to the theater. Thank you, Sean. I go to the theater. She's got an issue with that word. AT&T says they haven't determined the price. I go to the theater. Stop it, Sean. Yeah, but it'll be like a package you subscribe to and then they'll constantly be movie streaming, things like Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, you know, kind of old school classics. Oh, yeah. And it'll be streaming and they say that there'll be like advertisements in, you know, looped on there too. But yeah, that's kind of cool. The NFL has revealed their opening primetime games, the big games. Eddie, who's playing? Who do we find out about? Well, you know how they've been doing this Thursday night opening game, and it's always with the Super Bowl champion. Well, as we know, Rob, Super Bowl champions are the New York Giants. I get it. Oh, what? It's not the Patriots.
No, they did not win. They went 18-1. Oh, my God. Oh, they did not win. The Giants won. They won the Super Bowl. No, no, I remember. Broke so many records last year. Do you remember the catch David Tyree? Oh, that's right. David Tyree. That was a big deal because he caught the catch Hamill face. Weren't they supposed to win? 18-0. And then they lost and they went 18-1. So anyway, guys, the New York Giants. You know, Eddie, it's funny that you mention that because can you imagine what a mantra the Patriots would have had for all time to be able to go, oh, really? Yeah, it would have been awesome. I get it. But it didn't happen. Eddie, question. Eddie, question. Yo. I mean, there had to have been. There had to have been. Yeah. stuff that was printed that said 19 and 0. Yeah, and it went to Africa. I get it. They give it to poor people in Africa because they can't use it in America. It's a lie. They can't because it's wrong. Maybe God made them lose so that they could clothe children. How could you bring God into this? Don't do that. They clothe children. They clothe children. Children. Children.
That's right. Tom Brady's a saint. It's a good thing. Tom Brady losing the Super Bowl. That's why we did it to charity then. Tom Brady's a saint that leaves his kids. Hey, you did it on accident. He didn't know. I don't know. He didn't know. But you've got to think to yourself, there's a lot of kids wearing some beautiful Patriot garb. Yeah. 19 and 0 stuff. Nice Patriot lies. So the Giants are going to play Washington in the Thursday opener. Oh, yeah, they're the Super Bowl champs. They're the Super Bowl champions. And they're going to go try and defend their crown, starting with the Washington Redskins on Thursday. Then the first Sunday night game, which is basically the biggest game of the week. And it's going to be the Indianapolis Colts. Peyton Manning, everybody loves him, taking on the Bears, which is kind of a weird matchup. And then ESPN, last year, remember, they did that Monday night doubleheader to open up the regular season. They're doing it again. This time it's going to be the Green Bay Packers with a new starting quarterback. Oh, Eddie, you've got to be a little bummed out about that. Eddie's a Brett Favre fan. Yeah, I got something in my eye.
Anyway, it's a new era. He liked Favre. I'm sure he'll be there. They're going to host the Minnesota Vikings. And then in the second game, it'll be the Raiders in the black hole hosting the Denver Broncos. Oh, boy. I bet there will be no alcohol consumed at that. Zero alcohol. Raider fans don't drink. No, they do not. No, never. Pillars of society. That's right. I had a really... I am so... My papers are all over the place today. My papers. I am. I had this really good thing. Sky gave me this really cool thing. Did you throw it away? I think I may have found it. I found it. I found it. Seth! Sorry. You guys ready to play the percentage game? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's his birthday. It's April Fool's. So this is an April Fool's Day percentage question. I love it. Here it is percentage of workers that say that they have either initiated or been on the receiving end of an April Fool's Day prank at work. Got it. Percentage. I'm going to give it to you one more time. Percentage of workers that say they have either initiated or been on the receiving end of an April Fool's Day prank at work.
We will begin with Sean, the birthday boy. Yeah, it's his birthday. Today's his birthday. April Fool's is Sean's birthday. We can move on. Mike, I will say 45%. Fair enough. 45%, Sean says. That's what I said. Zeth, what do you think? 71%. Oh, that's a lot. You're a jerk. Skye, what do you think? I was going to guess right around there. 84%. Ashley, what do you think? I think that you guys are all going a little too high, and I'm going to go 31%. Boston Rob, what do you think? 72. Jerk. And finally, Eddie, what do you think? Yeah, I was sitting pretty high there, guys. Right, Eddie? I'm going to have to stick with the expert and go 44%. Wow. That's one below Sean. It's my birthday. It was such a good guess, Sean. You do it on my birthday. You do it on my birthday. Oh, Sean's pissed. I do it on your birthday. One of you... You're soft. One of you was 1% off. And you're welcome. And I must say congratulations to... To my house. Ashley. The joke's on you, April Fool's. 32% of workers say that they have either initiated or been on the receiving end of an April Fool's Day prank at work.
32%. Wow. That seems low to me. Very low. But you could think like, okay, doctors in the ER, like they're busy. You know, lawyers, like they got cases to run. That's true. Here, here, here, April Fool, you flower. Like, no, they got to go freaking save lives in the freaking ER. You know what I'm saying, Eddie? You're a doctor. I'm not. I don't know what you're talking about. What's up? That's what's up. There it is. Oh, boy. Let's see. Shawnee is not doing anything today to celebrate his birthday. Did you already do the celebrating, Shawnee? Kind of. I went out to lunch on Sunday. I'm not really doing anything. I'm not doing anything. It's a big day. Sounds like a party. Let's see. How about this one? Percentage of people that say their name is often misspelled. Percentage of Americans that say that their name is often misspelled. I.E. not Y. Hey, Shawnee, do we have match game music for this?
Yeah, you bet. I don't know why, but Match Game seems like it's the right music for this. You got it. So, percentage of people who say their name is often misspelled, we will begin with you, Sky. 53%, Mike. Eddie. I'm going to hit it right on the head. 67%. Whoa. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hit it right on the head. Quite a guess. Roosevelt, Zethian Oates. 26%. Oh, you're wrong. Your name is Zeth. Eddie. Oh, yeah, but you've got to account for the normal names, too. And based on his play in the Dumb Chick Challenge, Boston wrong. What do you think? 12. 12. Ashley. I'm going to go height. I'm going to say 60%. And Sean. 68%. Oh! Too bad I hit it on the head. Not. Well, let me tell you. Say it, Mike.
Had Sean not gone 1% higher, Eddie would have been the winner. But because Sean went 1% higher, he was closer to 71%, thus beating Eddie out of... Sean, how did you know that? Getting that correctly. That's very impressive, Sean. Eddie, I'm sorry. I was right about to announce Eddie as the winner there. But then Sean said 68%, going 1% higher than Eddie and then being closer to the 71%. Eddie, are you okay? You're lucky it's your birthday. Yeah, they say 71% of people say their name is often misspelled. Percentage of Americans, this is the last one, percentage of Americans who say they wake every night to go to the bathroom. Percentage of Americans who say they wake every night to go to the bathroom. We will begin with Sean. I will say Mike. 38%. Great. Good guess. I won't. Eddie. 39%. Sky. It's high. I think it's 63%. Dude. Ashley. 44%. Boston Rob. 45%. Oh. Yeah. I don't care. Yeah. Close. Roosevelt, Zethi, and Oates. Rosie. 46%.
Once again, the question was percentage of Americans who say that they wake every night to go to the bathroom. And I will tell you that Sean would have won. If Eddie had not said 39%. The answer is 40%. Eddie wins. Eddie is the closest. You were really close, Sean. Sean, you were so close. In fact, Sean, you would have won. All right, fine. I heard you the first time. Except that Eddie was closer. Okay, shut up about it. He was closer to the actual answer. Okay, shut up. Okay. I'll tell you that Eddie's good. He's good. That's all I'm going to say. He's good at it. Okay, shut up. He's just real good at it. Okay, shut up. Man, Sean lost that one. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Man, every one of you are great.

Yeah, it's National Polytechnic College of Science. Now, what do they do, Skye? They teach you. They put me in a hyperbaric chamber, Mike. They could teach you how to be the person that can tend to you while you're in the hyperbaric chamber. I like to be in those. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're these things that you go in, and they use the stuff to get the stuff out of you. Can King Plush come in there with me? King Plush can come in. Nice. As long as he doesn't have any, like, oh, no, I'm thinking of something different. He can go in there with you no matter what. Even if he has the bends? Yeah, well, that's why he would go in there. You know why? When people get the bends, they put them in a hyperbaric chamber. Well, he's in the Navy, so. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sometimes he gets the bends. You know how it is. King Bush? Yeah, yeah. You put them in the hyperbaric chamber, it stabilizes them with the pressure. Nice. And if you go to National Polytechnic University, they will teach you how to operate one of those hyperbaric chambers. They can also get you a job in Homeland Security. There was a bad overturn accident which has emergency crews blocking the slow lane westbound 8 before Severn Drive. And that's why you're just basically sitting in traffic, hardly moving, coming up top of approaching Magnolia Avenue. A traveler has been issued advising you to avoid that stretch for good reason. Western freeways aren't too bad, though. The south bonds out of the 15 are brief delayed through that construction zone in Rancho Bernardo.
South 5, a minor slowdown through Solana Beach. North 805 looking great all the way up into the Golden Triangle and beyond. And South 163, a minor slowdown through the park coming out of Mission Valley. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Oh, take a look at this. What's going on over there, dude? I'll show you my guns. Oh, I got scared. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, that's from working out. This is Bibis. This is my Bibis. Bibis. Bibis. Look at his burbers. Bibis. Because I get these babies working at Frogs Fitness. Yeah, Frogs Fitness is my gym. It could be your gym, too. They got four San Diego locations. And you got to check out that one at Solana Beach. It's all remodeled. Looks real nice, real fresh. I work at the one in Mission Valley. It is a great gym. Did you work there? Huh? Did you work there? Work out. Oh. I thought he worked there. I thought so, too. Sometimes I'll pick up a shift here and there.
Go wipe down those machines. That's it, baby. That's what I do. Hey, it's Tom. Can you pick up my shift tomorrow? Yeah, what time, Tom? I guess four to midnight. You got it, man. I'll be there. All right. That's it. No problem. I think Tom's faking. Well, I don't mind. I like working. I'm going to the desert. Yeah, I'm going to... We're going to the desert. All right, I'll fill in for you. We have the stupidest neighbors in the world. Boston Rob. I get really annoyed when people have sneezing fits. And Ashley. I hate underwear and I don't wear underwear. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. The band is called Starfield, and they're a lot like John Mayer with more talent. Welcome back. It is 940. The original members of New Kids on the Block are scheduled to announce their reunion Friday morning on the Today Show. Some other opening day scores yesterday. The Dodgers and Joe Torre won his first game, beating the Giants 5-0. Johan Santana made his debut for the Mets, beating Florida 7-2. And Milwaukee beat the Cubs in 10 innings, 4-3.
Oh, this is a cool text, man. Mikey, thank you for your testimony on Friday. It helped me get through a situation where rejection came into play. It is most definitely God's protection. Thanks, P1 Vic. Yeah, a lot of people have written me about that thing I said, which I wish I could take credit for. But it was actually from my friend Matt, who passed on a lot of really incredible pieces of wisdom to me. And that was one of them. And I remember he wrote it on the back of his business card and gave it to me. And I still have it in my wallet. And it was this thing about rejection. And if you're going through a rejection right now, rejection is tough, man. When somebody breaks up with you, especially when they break up with you and they don't give you a reason, you're like, oh, you know, because then your mind goes places. You're like, are they cheating on me or do I just, am I like, what's wrong with me? Am I not good enough? What is the deal? Is somebody better looking at work? They're not telling me what's going on. And I'm telling you, man, my friend Matt said to me one day, he goes, dude, rejection is God's perfect and ultimate plan for your protection. And something in my head went, it was a blood vessel I had to go to the doctor for. But after that, I thought, wow, what a great thing he said. This one says, hey, guys, I love listening to you. I'm faking sick just to listen to you guys. They're faking sick just to listen to us. Because you're the best. That's Peele and Robbie.
roll robbie that's a good p1 a good p1 calls in sick to work so they can listen to us we got a lot of stuff today gosh darn we got a lot of material we got a lot of april fools material yeah well i wanted to tell you guys because we saw this i saw this list we got the top 10 april fools pranks okay but number one uh well maybe i should start number 10 and work my way back says number 10 put a house for sale ad in the newspaper regarding a co-worker's home. That's a pretty good one. Wow. That's a little rough. Number nine. And by the way, if you've had a good one today, and I mean a good one, like don't call me with something lame, but if somebody's done something to you today that was really good, where they nailed you, 5701053 or text us, 35253, but not like lame, something good. Number nine, shrink-wrapped everything in a co-worker's cubicle.
One time we had Boston Rob take all his clothes off, go into Shauna, our boss's office, and they tinfoiled the entire room. Her entire office was tinfoiled. Oh, gnarly. And Rob was in there holding up a sign. I don't remember what the sign said. Rob, do you remember? You can't foil our trip. That's the deal. At the time, the Mikey Show wanted to go take a trip somewhere, which we eventually took. We wanted to go to Cabo. And she was putting the kibosh on it. Right. And so we went and we eventually took the trip in August, but last April, Boston Rob. It was the April prior to that. It wasn't really? Yeah, it was a while ago. Because last year you guys did the prank on me where you guys scared me. Oh, that's right. What did we do? Scared the crap out of me. Oh, that's right. We gave her, we sent her this video that jumped out at her. And she thought it was just a pleasant little video on her computer screen. Yeah, look real close near the tree. Yeah, you got to look and study and then... It was like a peaceful winding road. She fell out of her chair. It freaked the hell out of me. Oh, it was great. She flew right out of that chair. Oh, my gosh. Now, Sean, you have a co-worker who's already been a victim today of the tinfoil, right? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's so good. Our chief engineer. He can't even get into his office. Well, he got in, but they tinfoiled his whole office and then they tinfoiled the entire...
No way. He's got like floor to ceiling windows and a door and everything. They tinfoiled the whole thing over. Yeah, it was like sealed. That's cool. So good. Eddie, have you ever had anybody do something like that? To me? Yeah, yeah. No. Because I'm trying to think if that happened. Oh, I have another one. What? A really good one. We had a professor in college who was in charge of the radio department and he taught classes each day. So his office was adjoining the classroom. We took all the desks in the classroom and piled them into his office all the way up to the ceiling. I love it. That's pretty awesome. I like the ones that take like days to do. Preparation. Yeah, like when people will rebuild a car in someone's living room and they have to carry the pieces of the engine in there and they got to build a whole car. Number eight, these are ones that were actually submitted and the magazine or CNN.com put them out as part of careerbuilder.com. Number eight is paged a co-worker over the loudspeaker claiming the CEO was looking for him when the worker went into the CEO's office and the CEO didn't know why he was there. Number seven, placed a sign on the restroom door that read,
The company ran out of toilet tissue. Please use your own resources. Number six, rigged the boss's chair to drop suddenly during a staff meeting. Number five, filled the vending soda machine with cans of beer. Number four, called the electric company, used a co-worker's name and told them he was moving so the electricity got turned off at his house. Oh, that's hysterical. Number three, all the women in the office individually spoke to the president. Confiding that she is pregnant. By noon, he, quote, knew that all his female workers were pregnant and he could not tell anyone because each asked for confidentiality. That's kind of funny. Number two, sent a fake love note to a co-worker from another co-worker. Whoa. Now that's funny. Yeah, remember, like, you guys used to do that to me all the time because I would, you know, have my desk computer on. And I would like be walking away doing stuff. And the guys would open my email and then send emails to other coworkers. Wasn't me. Eddie doesn't recall that. Wasn't me. Yeah. Yeah. And we were like, I vaguely recall, but I was drinking at the time. So I don't really remember. And we would like, do we, you know, we were cool with our boss, but the boss also, I was his assistant. So I would have to do stuff and they would send him emails like.
go get your own darn dry cleaning. I've had enough of you. What happened? Shut up. Number one, placed a pair of pants and shoes inside the only toilet stall in a men's room to make it appear someone was using the stall. It sat there for hours until someone called security to check if the person had died. That's good. 5701053 is the number. P1, Jeremy, what up? Hey, not much. I was going to say, even better than the, putting your neighbor's house up for sale is to put Lister's stuff in the free section on Craigslist and just say, I'm not home. Feel free to walk on back and take it. Oh, wow. Now, don't you think people would instantly know that that's, you know... I think that happened. Did it really happen? Yeah. People do it all the time. Really? Yeah, we do it all the time. Do you really? What? Yeah.
What do you mean you do it? Sean, what do you mean? You tell people they can come get stuff? Yeah, we do this thing. It's called FreeCycle.com. Yeah. And it's, you know, people looking for things or people wanting to get rid of things for free. And, yeah, all you do is you say, you know, first come, first serve. You want it. It's going to be, you know, at our front porch, and this is the address. And people come pick it up. They just come get it. Yeah, it's great. P1Oceanside's on the line. Hey, what's going on? Hey, I... Two buddies of mine put two of my brand-new dirt bikes and a brand-new quad of mine on Craigslist this morning for $25. I've been getting, like, a whole bunch of calls. It's kind of ridiculous. Wanting to buy your dirt bikes for $25. That's funny. It's so mean. So mean. I'll pick the quad. P.W. and Leia. Hey, my brother-in-law peeled off all of the labels on my canned goods and my whole pantry, so now I know. anything is. I'm just going to have to open it. That's awesome. That is creative. That's awesome. Yeah, I guess it's peas tonight. And tuna fish. Wow. That's awesome. P1 Dustin. Hey, Mike. What's up? I fill up a cubicle office with a bunch of mini Dixie cups. Now, wait. You did what? If you're in an office and someone's sitting in a cube. Right.
On the floor, you take the miniature, the really small cups, and you lay them all out on the floor of the cube and fill them up with water. And you fill up the entire floor of the cube so when someone comes into the office, they've got to individually take each cup and pour them out. Dude, dude. We did this to my boss a couple of years ago. That is so creative. That is so, like, it bends your mind. You're like, whoa. Brain sprain. Because at first you're like, well, what's the, oh. What's the big deal with that? It's nothing you can do. It probably took her about an hour to get all the cups out of the office so she can start working. Wow. Thank you. Some text messages coming in at 35253. Hey, Mikey, I put all the furniture and screwed it to the ceiling of my buddy's apartment for April Fool's. Whoa. When he was on vacation, P1 Tiledo. Let's see. A bunch of buddies and I took a hundred rolls of packaging tape and taped this guy's car from bumper to bumper. Oh, no. Mikey, my high school baseball coach faked a heart attack on the bus. Oh, no.
After a game on April Fool's, P1 Big A. Now, only a male coach could do that to a bunch of guys. That's crazy. A male coach can't do that with girls because those girls would cry and their parents would freak. But dudes think that's funny. For sure. Because it is. Laugh out loud. Because it just is funny. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, if you got any of those, you can text message us at 35253. 3-5-2-5-3. Good one, huh, Mike? That was good. Hey, Jessica Simpson's out of the hospital. Why was she in the hospital? I'll tell you when we come back. It may surprise you. This is the Mikey Show. You've given everyone a great laugh and a great way to start my day, so we thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Broadcasting on 105.3 Frequency Modulation. Hello, hello, hello, yes. People are calling in with their good April Fool's Day pranks. P1 V-Dub is on the line. How's it going, Mikey? Pretty good, dude. Hey, uh, last year I had a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle. It was all Baja'd out. It was all fiberglass, real light. My buddies drove it onto these two canoes. They were like metal canoes.
And what they did was they dragged it into my pool. That's awesome. That's awesome. And my Volkswagen floating around. Wow. That's a good one. That's unreal. How did you get it out? I didn't know what to do at first, so I had to drain the whole pool. No way. Drive my boat off of these canoes. I had to have a tow truck come up and tow it out of the side of the pool. Oh, wow. Well, that's hysterical. P1 Jordan is on the line. What's up, Jordan? You might want to do that before you call. That makes you like a P9. That's all I'm saying. Sky has a overexposed celebrities list. Sky. She's everywhere. I mean, it doesn't matter where. Well, I definitely agree with you, Eddie. She's everywhere. Absolutely. Get over yourself. Shut up. Paris Hilton. Yes, Eddie, you are right. Paris Hilton is number one on the list. That's right. For Britney Spears? Britney Spears is number two on the list. Oh, come on. Lindsay Lohan. Is number three on the list. Nicole Richie. Is tied for number four. Nicolette Sheridan. Hey, what? Juice Newton.
And that's bad name. Sam Neill. Mary Kate Olsen is number six. Can't turn around without seeing Sam Neill and Ed Harris. That is true. I'm sick of it. What about Ed Begley Jr.? Where does he fall? He should be on the list. Andrew Ridgely. Yes, Andrew Ridgely. Is he on there? No. Check it. Sherman Hemsley. The woman. Rosie O'Donnell. Yeah, Rosie O'Donnell. Winehouse. The woman that played Maude. B. Arthur. B. Arthur. Big Tayback. Mike. Yeah, what about Vic Tayback? That was in my face. Hey, guys, what about Matt Damon? Angelina Jolie. Yeah, Angelina Jolie. Yeah. Mikey Show, you have a guess? Right on the board. Question. Oh. But we wanted to put stuff on the board. Yeah, the board. Well, I wanted to comment on the April Fool's thing. I work at a restaurant, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.
Yes, we'll make some suggestions right at the end of the show after we take our guesses. Did you hear Tony Danza? Bill Murray. Tony Orlando and Don. Dwarf actor Peter Dinklage. Sure. You're ridiculous. That's not a real man. You're ridiculous. That's not a real man. He's everywhere. That's all I can tell you. That's true. You can't swing a dead cat around without hitting Peter Dinklage. That's true. Can you not see Anna Nicole Smith because she's passed? Does that not? Too soon. Oh, wait a minute. Ashley just IM... Why would she put that? Kim Basinger. You're offensive. Waylon Jennings. Waylon Smothers. Mikey Show. Waylon Flowers. Hello. Hey, can I make a guess for the most... exposed celebrities? Yes, you may. What about Matthew McConaughey? He never has a shirt on or nothing. Yeah, Matthew McConaughey. We see that guy everywhere. Yeah. No. McConaughey. Jamie Lean Spears. Yeah, Jamie Lean. Jamie Lean. Jamie Lean. Jamie Lean. Jamie Lean. Jamie Lean. Check the list. See if Jamie Lean's on there. Put her on the board. Put it on. Jamie Lean Cuisine. No.
Eddie? No, no, no. How about... Say it! I'll give you hints. Franklin from Arrested Development. Carney Wilson. Nice reference. Carney Wilson's War. What? Wakey, wakey. Eggs and bakey. Roosevelt. Sethian. Yeah, Rosie. Rosie. I hate all of you. You don't. You guys need a hint? Oh, Ashley just IM me. No. What about Sean's mom? Ashley, that's under-exposed. It's your birthday. Yeah, it's his birthday. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, can I take a guess? Of course you can. What about the Beckhams? Pause Beckham. But that's a good guess. That is a good guess. What about the... What about... That's a good guess. Justine Bateman. Justine Bateman. Number seven. Who the heck is that? Or Michael Gross. Give me the first couple of bars of the theme song to Family Ties. All I need is a...
I don't know that one. No, you do know that one. It's a good one. I missed a generation of them. I didn't see Growing Pains and I didn't see those. All right, Sky, who else is on the list? Paul Rodriguez. Yes, is Paul Rodriguez on there? Oh, yeah. What about Paul Rubens? Is he... He's very overexposed. Mikey Show. Do you have a guess? Yeah, I got a guess. Go ahead. Rerun from what's happening. Oh, yeah, he's got to be on there. Kirstie Alley. One of the Culkins. Yeah, what about the... Yeah, all the Culkins. All the Culkins. Except for McCulkey. Yeah, McCulkey. I know who it is. That's Siley Myrus.
Oh. No. Michael Jackson. Jennifer Aniston. Michael Jackson. Yes, Ashley. Michael Jackson is number nine. What? You're really good at this list, Ashley. Yes. What about the girl that played Stacey in Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Yeah, Jennifer Jason. Jennifer Aniston. Put that on the floor. This is really good. It's great, Stacey. Okay. You wanted it more than I did. All right. That's not true. Take it back. All righty, take it back. Hey, that's a really great kid. What is he, your brother? What do you want? Earth, let me see here. What do you want? Earth, Wind, and Fire tickets? Two for Earth, Wind, and Fire. What do you want? Two for Earth, Wind, and Fire. All right. That's great. I got you done. What do you want? REO Speedwagon? It'd be great, okay? Mikey Show. Hello. Hey, beer up. Yes. Side two of Led Zeppelin 4. Pop it in, Ratna. I'm sorry about celebrity. Yes. Owen Wilson. Half on a ride. Look at this. You dropped your wallet here. Happen to be walking through, Ratna. Let me take a bite of this gross olive. I'm really kind of busy. What's he supposed to play in his car, Eddie? What song is he supposed to play? He was supposed to play Side 2 of Led Zeppelin 4. But he didn't.
He played this instead, and it's not as sexy. It's not romantic. It's not romantic. It's not sexy. He got it wrong. Sorry about that. What? All right, let's take a couple more guesses, and then we just kind of get on with this, for goodness sake. Bronson Pinchot. Yes. Mikey Show. What's your guess? Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. What's your guess, Matt? I have a good guess. Is Ramsey on there? Is Ramsey on the list, Scottie? He's not overexposed. Not at all. Oh, Nancy Travis. She was in, so I married an expert. Get out of here. Great movie. All right, last guess. Mikey Show. That was awesome. Thank you. Really good. Go ahead. Yes, go ahead. Yes, go ahead. P1 Apple Butter. Yeah, P1 Apple Butter. Are they on there? Oh. Really?
All right, Sky, I don't have any more guesses. The guy that played the baseball player on 8 is enough. Oh, yeah, Dustin Diamond. That's not Dustin Diamond. Wasn't it? I thought it was Dustin Diamond. No, you're wrong. It was Brian Austin Green. It was. Number 10 is Spencer Pratt. Number 9, M. Night Shyamalan. Number 9 is Michael Jackson. Rob, you've never seen any of them. Number eight is a tie. Yeah, the Amish people that live out there in the middle of the desert. Tom Cruise, Heidi Montag, and Donald Trump. Heidi Montag? I can't even draw her face to my mind. Wow. They need to get over themselves. I totally do. Whatever. What about the Wobbajackies? First of all, it's Jabberwockies. And second of all, don't be dissing the Jabberwockies. Don't get all up in the Wobbajackies. Yeah, the weevils wobble. The only other one you didn't guess was number seven, which was... The Camel Jockeys. They just won the... Jabberwockies.
Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian. I've got news about them on my blog if you want to check it out. So Metallica is doing two shows in America, and that's it. Now, one of the shows that they're doing is in a pretty big city. What is it, Sky? What's that thing called that they're doing? The Bonnaroon Festival in Tennessee in June. Bonnaroon. They're going to be playing the entire state of Tennessee. And then, of course, the other one, the logical choice would be Tucson. Wait, what? So they're playing in Tucson. May 16th, they'll be playing Tucson for, I guess it's a radio station concert, KFMA Day. Yes. So those are the only two confirmed Metallica US tour dates. What about when bands attack? Metallica's website says... We do that concert every year. I don't know what that is. What are you talking about? When Metallica attacks... And they're not going to play when Metallica attacks? You're confusing it, dude. That's when axes attack for Christmas. They should play that. When axes attack Christmas. The night before attacking. The night before they attack. The Grinch that stole the axes. Kathy Lee Gifford. If you can believe this, Kathy Lee Gifford.
They're bringing her back to television. Wait, they exhumed her? No, she's... What? You were telling me a big fat lie. They're going to put her on the fourth hour of the Today Show. Oh, boy. Now, she used to be... They rehydrate her? They put her... She was on Regis and Kathy Lee. Everybody remembers her from Regis and Kathy Lee. And so they're bringing her back for the fourth hour of the Today Show, which I thought was a surprising move. Well, when she left Regis, the Regis and Kathy Lee show, the ratings went up when she left the program. And so I thought, wow, that is pretty interesting that they're going to say, hey, I think that the show worked now. Are you ready for this? So here is the Today Show crew welcoming Kathy Lee Gifford to the show. Oh, please. One for the Gip. Cut 24. Kathy Lee Gifford is the newest. He sounds excited. Yeah. You can't wait. Our fourth hour starting April 7th. And she's here with our motley crew. Wow. Large sofa. I know. That.
That was my first clue that, you know, I had to add on more of Sofa just to get me on. That was not good. So to quote Michael Corleone in Godfather 3, just when they thought I was out, they dragged me back in. That's not the quote. That's not what he said. It could be worse timing in some ways. I mean, I'm literally, what, I'm eight years older, ten pounds heavier, and a half inch shorter, and just in time for HD television. Years on that joke. Well, Cody just turned 47 years old. Wow. Well, when she was on the Regis with Kathy Lee, she had a little boy named Cody. Now, he was two years old for, I think, eight years. He was always a little kid. You always knew Cody as a little kid. He's got to be an adult now. Sure. Right? He's got to be, like, in his 20s, that little boy, Cody. And the surreal life turned her down, so the logical choice. There you go. Fourth hour of today's show. Cut 25. So what convinced you to come back? Oh, I got kicked.
We got pretty much hot kicked out of the Rainbow Room. We had lunch one day and she thought everything I said was funny and she cried and I sang to her and she loved it so I said I gotta be with her. She sang, we were just sitting by ourselves at this table and when Kathie Lee started singing in the Rainbow Room she just let it rip and I was so in. But they did kick us out didn't they? After four hours we started vacuuming around our feet it was time to go. Timing is everything in life. And it was the right time when I left the show all those years ago for my family especially. And my son's going off to college this fall. Oh, 18 years old. I didn't know you had children. There it is. He's 18. Wow. Hell's Kitchen's coming back. Fourth season now. Yes, Mike. Tonight. Chef Ramsay's all fired up. Cut 37. Donkey! more so than any other year before. Something that I've sort of talented female. He does this weird thing. He did. He does this thing. We were watching it. Eddie got me into the English one. Yeah, Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. Yes, the British one. It's great. It's so much better. Eddie was like, dude, you got to watch because it's so much better. He's not doing the fake, you know. Screaming and stuff. He does this. It's so creepy, this thing that he does. He'll put his arms like this.
He crosses his arms, and he's standing next to the person, and it's, like, really loud in the restaurant or whatever, and he'll say something really terrible, but he leans into their ear to say it. So he'll go, you're a coward, aren't you? But he, like, leans right into their ear, and the person's always like, what? And he goes, Sid, you're a coward, right? You're a coward. And I'm like, whoa! He'll do the thing where he, like, it's right in their ear. Where are your bullets? Yes. And you're like, oh. I mean, it looks like it. It's so painful. New kids on the block are back on Friday, folks. N-K-Y-O-B. N-K-Y-O-B. But that's not it. No, guys. It's N-K-O-T-B. No. Get it right. Bring your own new kid. They're getting back together. On Friday, they're going to get back together. Yeah, they're going to be on the Today Show and make some sort of announcement. Now, how old are they, Skye? They're all in their mid to late 30s. Mid to late 30s. And you name them all. Oh, gosh. So there's Joey, of course. There's Donnie. Hot. What? He was the hottest. Was he? In my opinion. He was the bad boy. You're messing her up, Ash. Sorry, go ahead. Or do you disagree? Joey, Donnie. I can't think of any. Jordan. Jordan. What's the matter? Okay.
And then he has a brother. Danny. Nathan. Trippy. Remember him? Sleepy. Oh, the gay one. There he is. Hey, you make Joey alone. He was pre-pubescent. And when he would sing this to the audience, the girls would swoon. Yeah, this is Zethian. This is Nathaniel. Did you hear him in the background, too? It was Joey. Nathaniel, Zethian, and Donnie. Rosie, Robert. Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates. Who's the fifth one, Sky? Linda. They were ripping off... New Edition? Come on, it sounds just like New Edition. Oh, Jonathan. Jordan Knight. Yeah. He wanted to be a new kid. No, he didn't. He did. He's doing his own thing, dude. They were stealing this sound, man. New Edition did it first. Yep.
New edition came out. 82, 83. New Kids on the Block, 86. 89. 89? Yeah. Well, that's ripping off. Big time. Ash, come on. Yeah, no, no. I was going to say something, but then, like, you started to play that, and so I, like, choked on my own words. I was, like, trying to retract my statement, but I already started to say it. You're interesting. That's my favorite one. The self-awareness. What I can think of, though, when I hear it is the adult Bobby Brown persponting Hiring with gold teeth. Wow. Oh, yeah. Eddie's calling for Mr. California. Where's music today, huh? Eat this, Timberland. That's what I was going to say, dude. I grew up listening to this in Tyler, Texas, all right? Yeah, real good, dude. Yeah, that's right. Used to live next door to a girl named Cynthia, okay? Play that song right there. I was eight years old driving a Porsche. Bought it with the Coke money. Oh! I can't say that one.
If he said 619, I'd be all the way in on that. Yeah, you would. That'd be great. There's Bell Biv DeVoe, dude. Can you hear some of that? Yeah, let's do some BBD. B-E-L-B-I-V. It's not in here. It has to be. It's gotta be. Come on, Mark. Biv DeVoe. Girl, I must. This guy's got some new releases. What? Why don't you read them? That's right. The PS3. Oh, this is it. That's what I'm talking about right there. So we got no video games. What do we have? New CDs out today. Let's know them. We got some new Seven Dust. Chapter 7, Hope and Sorrow. Chapter 7, Hope and Sorrow. Wait a minute. Let me get to the page. Their seventh studio album. Got it. Got it.
Remember we talked about that a while ago? I don't know if that was Doctrine. No, that wasn't. But that song has him. That was Lejeune. Lejeune. Lejeune. Cool. What else is out? Fall Out Boy, Live in Phoenix. It's a CD, DVD, and it features their cover of Beat It with John Mayer on guitar. Oh, I can't wait to not get it. Aw. Yeah. We have Moby out today with Last Night. Now, wait a minute. Now, we only have four, right, Ash? Yeah. Okay, go ahead. Moby, what else? We used to work for him. Yeah, that's right. Last night. No, we worked for a guy who looked like Moby. I thought that was Moby. No, it actually wasn't. Was it him or was it? No, it was Moby. We used to work for him. He was our program director. He used to make Sky get his dry cleaning. His big reservation. His real name's Gary. That's right. He went by Moby in the music industry. Right. No, so new Moby out today, last night. You're right. We have new R.E.M. out today, their album called Accelerate. How many times are that? What? Muse, or I should say Muse, is putting out a CD, DVD set today, Harp. It has, you know, live songs and videos and everything. Nauseous or happy? No, that song's the jam. All right.
And then finally out today, we have the original soundtrack to Shine a Light, which is the Rolling Stones documentary. And Christina Aguilera. Come on. You have to pay for that. Who used to listen to that? Oh, man. I mean, that's brand new, too. Like, they're going to charge people to buy that. Goes together like peanut butter and charcoal. Sounds like it, too. Wow, man. That is not what I expected. And then we have new movies on DVD today. What do we have? Sweeney Todd. Yeah, is that one out today? Yeah, dude, Sweeney Todd. What? Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street. Cut, let's see. I'll just go ahead and play it, Mike. I've seen years. Yes. Sweating. I live in hell. That's right. I'm about to break into song. I've seen years. I've never played this character in a film before. I've seen years.
Wait a second. Every film. No bugger. It's Tottenham. Sweeney Todd. I've never played a dark character in a film before. All the Caribbean movies, of course. But you've never worked with Tim Burton playing a dark Caribbean. That's right. That's true. That's true. Except for all of them. Edward Scissorhands. Cezanne. Well, there was that one. It was The Nightmare Before Christmas. I did that one with him, too. And then Sweeney Todd. That's true. Beetlejuice. That's right. It's... Basically, wait a minute, I wasn't in that film. No, that was Michael Keaton. Nice try, though. Also out today, we have Alvin and the Chipmunks. Anyone? Jason Lee in the animated Chipmunk. Cut 38. Don't play the clip. Play the clip. Sean, don't you be gone. Without you birthday boy, you birthday...
He didn't even say anything. He didn't even say goodbye. He didn't say goodbye. He just signed off. Call him on the phone. And make him reenact a scene from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I'm going to get him on the phone. Get him on the phone. This is ridiculous. I'm proud of him. What dare he? You're proud. What are you proud of? I don't want to hear Alvin and the Chipmunks. No, we're going to now. No. No, whatever. Do I have to dial a nine? No. No, you don't. What should I call his work or mobile? I don't know which one I should call. Call the mobile. Okay, I said mobile instead of self, okay? And what are you, English? Let me call his mobile. Call his mobile. I liked it. I shall pick up your mobile, will you? Bullocks. Call has been forwarded. Forwarded where? I don't think I dialed it right. Sean King. Answer your mobile. Avery Sean King.
Name and a phone number. I'll call shortly if you're calling about the baby. Webmaster. You are sexy. When finished, hang up to deliver the message or press the count key for additional options. Hey, Shawnee, cut 38. We're calling the babies. Here's Alvin and the chipmunks. It's cut 38. Shawnee, happy birthday. Yeah, I know. He just disappeared. It's his birthday. He disappeared. Hey, Sean, if you can, get back to us with cut three. About 1130. I'd try his mobile back, but I don't have to think about it. All right. Okay, well, TV shows to DVD. We have Becker the first season. John from Cincinnati. Father Knows Best season one. Law and Order special victims unit year six.
Murder, She Wrote, eighth season. Sean will love that one. That 70s show, season eight. Martin, the fourth season. And The Osmonds Live in Las Vegas. That all sounds great. Thanks, Mike. Enjoy. That all sounds really good. You hear about Sweeney Todd? Yes. That's right. We never worked with him before. That's what I mean. Hello. Hello. Mikey Show. Mobile line. I got a question for B-Rob. Go ahead. I was wondering who he used, what lawyer he used when he had DUI. Wow. I use Ty Koss. He's up in North County. Great guy. What was his name again? Shoot me an email. It's a McClinkle and McClinkle. No, they're the best. They are the best. Shoot me an email. I'll get you all his info. Okay, thank you. Okay. Let's see. Mikey Show. Hello. Do not drink and drive. Hello. Mikey. Yes. Hey, this is P1 Thurston. I have a story to tell you. Kind of a crazy story that happened last night. My wife's pregnant. As a gift, I was going to give her granite in the kitchen. I got to hit the button. I hit the button. I don't want to say any business names on the air because I have no idea what you're about to say. Are you about to say that a company did something that you didn't like? Well, let me tell you. No, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute. Hang on. Go ahead, Rob.
Ask him what... No, no, no. I know what he said. Is it something bad? Yeah, well... Was he going to say they did something bad? Yeah, but... Yeah, I mean, come on. You already told him. Well, Mike, I... The deal is, Mike, I... Well, no. Is Mike cut out? I told this... Oh, no. How many times do I have to tell... Rosie! Mikey Show. Roosevelt Zethia Notes. All right, he's good to go. No, he's not. Mikey Show. What is your story? What is your story, please? Here's a story. So the guy's putting the granite countertop, and he's almost done. There's one little piece that was not good. I said, hey, look, you got to put another little piece in here. The guy goes crazy, starts talking Spanish to his guys. Well, he started getting aggressive next to me. I said, hey, dude, you got to get back up off me, man.
And he did. And I said, you got to leave. He didn't. He tells the guy to get a hammer. Whoa. Guy gets a sledgehammer, starts busting up my whole kitchen. Whoa. That, you know, that I paid for. He's almost done. I run to the other side of the house. I get a taser gun. I don't tase the guy, but I get it on him. And I'm like, drop the hammer, man. Drop the hammer and get out of here. The guy doesn't do it. Finally, when he saw it in my eyes that I was going to pull the trigger, he walks out. He's still not dropping the hammer. He's got six guys. His whole crew is, like, following me out. And, you know, it's kind of a creepy situation. Luckily, my dad happened to be there. So my dad gets a taser. Oh, he starts talking in Spanish, by the way, saying, hey, go remove the rest of the kitchen. He wanted to tell his guys to bust up what he didn't bust up. Right. So my dad's like, I'll hold him here. You know, so I run upstairs. I have to get a 12-gauge to get these guys. And my wife and two kids are there. My wife's pregnant. You know, I get a 12-gauge to get these guys out and then finally get them outside, and they still wouldn't leave. And so, you know, I got a 12-gauge. I call 911. Finally, the cops come. And, you know, by the way, they didn't do anything to him. They say it's civil.
that I got to sue him for what he did. I'm getting charged for some charge about, like, threat with a weapon. And he's getting charged with the same thing. So, you know, it's just a crazy story. And I guess, you know, I don't know what the moral is other than, I mean, I checked this guy out. The guy was legit. What do you guys think the moral of the story could be? I got a moral. Sir, what is the moral of the story? You know what? I think the moral is, if you're doing business with anybody and it feels a little bit weird, just get out, man. Just get out. What feels weird? You know, well, I'll tell you, two days before this happened, on Friday, I had a conversation with this guy. And he was going to charge me more money for something, which should have been included. And I said, hey, man, that's not right. And this guy starts dropping F-bombs, saying, you know, F-bomb you, you know. And, you know, he starts saying, you Mexican F. whatever to me, and I was like, you know what? I worked it out, and I just kind of let it go, and I figured, you know what? Let's just get it in and get it done. Well, let me ask you, sir. Why were you calling us to share the story? It's a pretty good story, and really what I wanted to do was say the guy's name. Oh, yeah, I don't want... Definitely don't... And I didn't. Yeah, I definitely don't want you to do that, but that's it? That's the end of the story? That's the end of the story, man. I mean, oh, the other piece, sorry. The other piece was at...
After we got rid of him, on the other side of the house, I find a note that has this guy's last name. It's eight times. And then it says, family of Michoacan. And then in print, he's cartel millennium. So I don't know what. I Googled that. I didn't really come up with much. I don't know what that means. But it's obviously some kind of threat. Better business bureau, bro. Yeah, better business bureau. File a complaint. Yeah, the guy's on there. He's good. Well, that's why you file a complaint. You file a complaint. And then the next guy who goes on there is like, this guy ain't good. Right. Right. Good luck. All right, bro. Thanks for calling. Got it. How many of us thought that was April 4th? I was waiting for it the whole time. And then an alien landed. Yeah. And then a bear was eating my face. True story. And then I put the bad words on the air like eight times in doubt. And put in charge of the station. Next thing you know, I'm scheduling music. I was like, come on. It's got to get to that. Wait. But listen, the lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. Enjoy your day. Today on the Nooner, Missy's got the all-request lunch. And we'll make an appointment to hang out tomorrow morning. We'll start it at 5.30. Mikey's show's out late. Love your mouth.
