It is 6-0-7. It was a warm one over the weekend with record temperatures reported all over the county. It was one of those Padre games that we're getting used to seeing where they don't have a lot of offense, but they have just enough pitching as they hold off the Dodgers 1-0 yesterday. Oh, my. I have not seen any Padre stuff because I got the direct TV. I haven't been to any games. So, Eddie, have you seen a second of Padre baseball? I've actually got to see quite a bit. Really? Yeah. I don't know what the deal is. I've just been lucky where I've been going to either like a restaurant or a friend's house. Like yesterday, I watched a game at my mother-in-law's house. Yeah. She's got, you know, regular cable. So, I've been able to watch a lot of it. That's awesome. Awesome. Let's go around the room, check in, see if anybody did anything. Interesting over the weekend and where we're all at. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm going to tell you before we ever get started that there are seven people on the Mikey show. It's a lot. That's crazy. Kind of a big cast. That's it? No. Well, I mean, how many do you really want, Chad Johnson? I mean, what do you want, 10 people on a show? So anyway, that was Chad Johnson, by the way. He listens to the entire show on the phone.
Chad Johnson, number 85, the Cincinnati Bengals, a fan of the Mikey show. So he just sits on the phone the whole time that we do the show every day. I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? Yeah, we'll get to it if you just give me a chance. He is. It's always kind of a negative tone to Chad. He just sits there. He doesn't say anything. He's got a lot of expectations. He does. Very high expectations. I'm Mikey. I am the host of the program. I'm 37 years of age. I am. So close to being sinus problem free. I'm right there. I still have some stuff going on. And I talked to a friend of ours over the weekend. And she said that she had that sinus stuff going on all the time. And she goes, and I found out I've got a deviated septum. I go, so do I. And she goes, yeah. She goes, you know, there's really two options in life. And I go, what are they? She says, you can have an operation that will stop that. And then you won't get those infections anymore. Or you just live your whole life taking Nasonex and taking stuff and blah, blah, blah. But Rebecca and I were talking about it and we were saying that's not a very good option. The Nasonex stuff and all the pills is not a very good option because I do that now and I still get the sinus infections.
And what's happening is my body is building up an immunity to the Z-Pak. Z-Pak didn't even work on me. Yeah, that's scary. That's the last thing you want, dude. Yeah. So now I'm really considering seeing a ENT, as they call them. What does that stand for? Ear, nose, and throat, guys. Oh. ENT. She goes, you got to see an ENT. And I listened to it. I heard her say ENT about four times before I finally had to admit to the world that I didn't know what it was. I don't know. I don't know. You know, and when she first said, she's like, you got to see an ENT. I'm like, I know. Yeah, I know. I'm thinking, what is that? I've been planning it. I know. I made the appointment twice and then just had to get out of it. And I finally got it. And then it's embarrassing because then she's thinking, well, why didn't you ask? So this whole time I've been saying ENT and you've been saying, okay, yet you didn't know. I'll pretend that I don't notice that. And then I did the same thing. Thank you for pretending that you didn't notice. So I got to go see those walking trees from Lord of the Rings? No, no, no, no, no, no. It's an ant. It's an ant. They just say ant. That's all. But they don't spell it out. I'm embarrassed. They don't say E-N-T. Oh. You know what I'm saying? So welcome to the show. And give us a call. 570-1053 is our phone number. And you can call us if you have not melted. Seriously, dude. Sky, how?
Warm in your neck of the woods. I don't even want to talk about the landscaping. No. Oh, you're crazy. You did not do that this weekend. Dude, no. Your husband, he's got a problem. My husband has a big problem, and I'm not a fan of him trying to have me help him install, like, steps up the hill. No. So we're digging in, pouring the rock, putting the blocks. That's crazy. The level, the frigging. Whatever. Dude, at one point, I looked at him, and I'm like, I'm about to throw up. And I had to go in the house, get a washcloth, put it on my head, and I was laying on the floor of the living room. Oh, my God. We're burning alive. It was nuts. Oh, no. It was horrible, man. You guys became honorary Mexicans this weekend out there working in the hot sun doing landscaping. Dude, it was brutal. And then the wind whipping through there, it sent our barbecue flying like 10 feet. Like, our gas grill with the propane tank attached and all flew 10 feet across the yard. Are you serious? Dude, it was crazy, the winds right there. That's weird, man. Yeah, it was really, really crazy this week. Holy cow. Yeah, dust, like, everything, dirt on everything. Yeah, luckily, we didn't, like, leave any windows cracked or it would have been really bad. Oh, my. You got to be careful. You can get, seriously, you can get sick. Like, you can get. Oh, I know, Mike.
You get sick. I was almost there, dude. That close to calling Kaiser, huh? Well, I don't have Kaiser anymore, but I would have. Oh, no. Yeah. You don't still call, though? I mean, just to keep it in touch. They know you, right? I mean, they'll still help. No, they ask for your... They're good friends with you. They ask for your number, which I don't have. Dude, in all seriousness, do you put on sunscreen? That'll jack you up. Yeah. Yeah. SPF what? Well, I did 15. Yeah, that's not enough. And then after being out there for about an hour, my husband looked at me and was like, yeah, you're red already. And then I went in and 30'd up. Yeah. And then I was good. Yeah. No fun. It was a warm weekend. No fun. Eddie, I heard a rumor on the internet that you went to Pinnacle Peak this weekend. Really? I can confirm that rumor, Mike. It was on TMZ, and I was like, that's crazy. They caught me coming out. It was a blurred picture, so I was like, I can't tell if that's Eddie. Yeah, I made it in. I made it in the side, fine. But when I was coming out, they were nuts. They were all over the place. Just snapping. He's like, I just had a steak. I love the beans.
If people don't know what this is, it's a little hidden jewel in San Diego County in Santee. I wish you lived closer because I would have called you Saturday night. We couldn't figure out what we wanted to do. And I'm like, let's go to the peak. Let's go to the peak. Let me live through you. Tell me what you had. There's basically only four steaks on the menu. You got the cowboy. You got the Trail Boss, which is the giant. Oh, that's a big one. Then the Cowboy. Yeah. Then the Kansas City, which is the New York bone-in. Yeah. And then the Cowgirl. And if you're a man, you can't order the Cowgirl. You can't get the Cowgirl. I mean, it's kind of the perfect size, but you can't order it. Yeah, you can't do it. So I went with the Kansas City this time. Nice. It was phenomenal. It was real good? Phenomenal. And what do you get? Tell everybody what you get with it. What comes with it? You get, which I love, you get like regular sliced white bread. It's kind of thicker than normal white bread, but it's just white bread. I love it. I don't know why. That's great. Yeah, it just works. You get a salad. You get a pot of beans. Like they bring a bowl of beans. So great. Yeah, like kind of ranch style beans.
They're real good. And then you can add on corn or like corn on the cob or baked potato or any kind of side like that. Awesome. You feel very like Old West. Oh, it's great. The food's fantastic. They cook that food. They cook those steaks over like mesquite wood. Yeah, open flame. It's the best. It's good, man. And trip out on this. What? We know the manager there now. You and your wife? All of us. We all do. All of us? P1 Chorizo is the manager of Pinnacle Paint now. What? I was like, holy crap, dude. I'm sorry, what? It was great. It's impossible. That's awesome. I saw him running around. I'm like, dude, I know that guy. That's cool. Chorizo. I know that, dude. How's the house search going? Well, pretty crazy. We put a bid on a house this weekend. Oh, my God. Goodness gracious. Don't freak out. I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out. I don't think it's going to happen, but here's the deal. I don't know. I've learned a lot about real estate since this last search of the house. Does anybody know what a short sale is? That's when Rob goes out.
Wait a minute. Typically, you would be correct. Yes. This is what is called a short sale. Basically, it's a foreclosed house. Right. And they're selling it for a lot less than what it's worth. Yeah. So the bank can come back and say, you know, oh, we don't want to sell to you for that much because, you know, they owe us a lot more. Right. But, you know, they may want something for it. So we put in an offer and see what happens. Yeah. Awesome. That's cool. So we'll see. I know on Friday. As I was leaving, you said that you thought that you might get movie time in, but I don't. We did. We watched a movie Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday. What did you see? Friday night, we watched Walk Hard. Oh. The Dewey Cox story. Please. Horrendous. Oh, no. Oh, no. Not one last. Not one last. Oh, that's not good. And I was thinking, you know what? The critics were probably rough on this. They didn't like Anchorman, so, you know, I love those kind of movies. I thought it was going to be hysterical. It not only missed the mark, it was completely in another realm. That's terrible. It was terrible. Saturday, Mike, I finally got to see There Will Be Blood. You did. Yes. What did you think? It's crazy. It was one of the weirder movies I've ever seen in my life. Daniel Day-Lewis is another kind of actor. I've never seen him. It's not like he's acting. It's weird.
He's on a different planet. It's a different planet. Yeah. I enjoyed it, but it was long. Yeah. And I could tell my wife was really bored. Yeah. But I liked it. I mean, it was weird and entertaining and just a trip. I'm telling you, man. I've said this to so many people. I have not. I've talked to a few women now that have seen it. Not one woman digs it. Nah. I think it's a dude movie. It's a dude. It's the things that they talk about are traditionally guy things. Ego. Yeah. You know, pride. It's a lot of guy. Power. Power. Yeah. Stuff that guys traditionally deal with. We get. And it's tough. Yeah. But, oh, man. I love the storyline with his brother showing up. Like, that was great. His brother from another mother. Yeah. That was weird and great. I love that. And then Sunday I watched Enchanted. We can move on. Oh, how was that? How was that? What did you think? Amy Adams. You went to see Enchanted. What is he talking about? Wait a minute. What is he saying? I can't let him get away with it. What happened? That's why you didn't want it, right? I thought we were just saying stuff. I thought we were just saying stuff. I'm not going to deal with this garbage.
If it's going to be like this, I won't share my feelings. I want you to share. It's a motion picture, that's all. I'm a married man. I made her watch There Will Be Blood. So I had to give something to her. Symbiotic. I understand. It was like a symbiotic relationship you had. I don't speak that way. I have a symbiotic relationship. I get it. Look, Prince is real happy that you watched Enchanted. I don't want to hear from Prince. Listen, so she wanted to see Enchanted. Yeah. Dying to see it. I said, fine, honey. You were cool about watching There Will Be Blood. That's nice. I will be cool and watch Enchanted. And I was going to hate it. It was adorable. I couldn't help it. I never had. I'm not gay. I loved it. It's not about that, though. It was adorable. I dare you to watch that movie. I love it. And not fall in love with Amy Adams. She is unbelievable. Buy me something. No. Get out of here. It was a cute movie. I can't help it. Shoot me. Listen. The guy loved it. What's the matter with you people?
I loved it, Mike. I thought it was okay. I thought it was adorable. It was. The songs and the chipmunk running around. You haven't seen it yet? Dude, you would love it. Oh, man. I'm not gay. I don't have a problem with him watching it. You weren't anywhere near me. Truth be told, when he says my wife and I, he actually means George. No, I did not. That's a revelation. It was a wonderful evening. I had the cowgirl steak and then we came home. You just talked me into it. Now, my brother, Mark, it's the greatest movie he's ever seen in his life. You will not like it. Oh, dude, I will. There's a child in me. There is no child in you. That's true. You're a wonderful lover, though. Me and your wife. We're like the same person. Here's what I thought was great. When I watched the previews and she is a real person, live action, and doing that funny Disney singing style, that struck me as funny. It was good. It's very over-the-top silly. I just loved it. What? That's fantastic. I watched it.
Your ganus does not define you. Let's see. Skye is our news girl. She's 30, and she looks like she's got a little tan today. Working on all that heat and sun. We'll do that to you, Mike. Holy cow. How long were you out there, would you say? Saturday, it was way too windy, so we didn't get out in the yard until 3, and we were out there until sundown, until 7. And yesterday, we went out at about 10 a.m. And we were out there. Well, I was out there on and off until sundown. But my husband was out there the whole time until 7. That's hot. That's gnarly. That is crazy. Shawnee, oh boy. He is our sound effects guy. He's 38. And I think Shawnee got hit with that same bug that we've all had for a while. It's everywhere. I was out at Sequan yesterday, and I was really freaking out. I had finally decided to get up because one of the dealers was hacking and, like, wiping his nose and dealing the cards. And I'm like, dude, come on. Like, I don't want your filth all over me. That's terrible. Gross. Sean, has your wife got it yet? Yeah, like, last weekend I had it, and then this past weekend my wife had it. But I was actually glad she got it.
Oh, come on. You were not glad. Why would someone say that? What does that mean? I was a little bit glad. You love your wife. I do love my wife. However, she is the driving force in everything that we do, you know, especially on the weekends. I like to lay around. She likes to go, go, go. So we end up going everywhere. Well, when she's sick, we don't. And it was fortunate that this past week. I bought the season one DVD collection for Matlock. Oh, boy. So we stayed home over the weekend, and I got to watch about 17 episodes. It was awesome. Heaven. Yeah. I'm sure. Can you imagine? You know, that guy's underrated, man. Andy Griffith, he's a really good actor. Talk about it, Sean. Talk about it. No, I'm just saying, seriously, he's a really good actor. I imagine that the fly on the wall is bored at his house. The fly's like, this is so boring. They're flying out of his house. Yes. Well, you know what? Actually, if you would give it a chance, you would actually like it. I disagree. Okay. Respectfully. We're not 80. You don't have to be 80 to watch it. No, I think it is a prerequisite. No, it is not, dude. They're actually...
Matlock. Ashley is our assistant producer. She looks gorgeous today. She is going out in the sun. I can tell. She looks good. She's got that tan going on. Yeah. And Ashley's 24. She's got tan skin and blonde hair. Yeah. That's what she looks like. And earlier, I think she was wearing a jacket from the movie Undock Saints. That's all I'm going to say. Wait. Has he been raiding Rob's closet? Yeah, what's the deal? What is the Boondock Saints jacket about? That's so funny that you say that because this morning I was leaving my honey's house and I was like, honey, can I borrow a jacket of yours? And he's like, oh, wear my Boondock Saints one. Are you dating Rob now or what happened? Did Rob roll over? I thought you were going out with Mark. Yeah, I did too. What happened with Mark? Mark loves Boondock Saints too. It's like his favorite movie. Oh, no. Wow. So he's like, wear that and tell Rob I love the movie too because he knows Rob likes it. Sick. Sick. Sick. Man, it's taken us half an hour to introduce this far. So we got a couple more people that we need to introduce, and then we got to get on with the show. Boston Rob is our phone screener. Is he? And he's also a singer-songwriter. And, you know, if we ever decide to do Boston Rob's greatest hits, it's going to be tough. I'll be first in line. Got a lot of hits.
And so we'll talk to Rizzy about his weekend a bit. Zethian, well, Roosevelt Zethian Oates. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Roosevelt Zethian Oates, Esquire III, Jr. Did you have a good weekend, Zeth? I did. Nice. Action-packed. Very nice. What do you mean it was action-packed? Well, I played board games with Rob and his fiancée. Sweet. No, I mean it. It's really sweet. It's fun. It's sweet. So, yeah, that was fun. Let my girlfriend's roommate drive my car, and it was the most nerve-wracking ten minutes of my life. You bet. That was bad. I hate the car, but I was in cop watch mode the entire time. Oh, no. So that was rough for me. Yep, I get it. Freaking out. Let's see. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end. Of every show with anything you want. Every show? P1 Talon is on the line. Oh. Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning, Talon. I got it back, Eddie, on Enchanted. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I don't need that. So you liked Enchanted, Taylor. Let's just drop it, okay? Who wants some man meat? What was your favorite part? Well, the scene where she's...
Cleaning the house and all the animals. Oh, my God. Was that not awesome? I swear to God. When she does that and those little things are hopping on. The rats and the pigeons come in. It's really so good. I personally like the song when they're going through Central Park and everybody joins in. Hell, yeah. Do you like that one, Taylor? That has never been said in a sentence, ever, about Enchanted. They should put that, like, as part of the reviews on their movie poster. Eddie from the Mikey Show says, hell yeah. Oh, wow. Wow, there you go, Taylin. We're really glad that you guys enjoyed it. Thank you very much. Criterion Edition. I'm a man and you're a man. Now, where do we go from here? P1 Chris is on the line. Chris, tell everybody what a P1 is. A P1 is an exclusive Mikey listener, turns the radio down, doesn't cut us, gets it to the point. That is correct. Thank you, thank you. What's going on? I'm just going to let you know how hot it got this weekend. Where were you? Lemon Grove. Oh. How hot was it? It was so hot it split my windshield. Oh, my God. How did that? I don't understand. Straight down the middle. How?
Are you sure? It wasn't like a rock on a semi? Or a sledgehammer? Yeah. Or a fat guy? I don't understand. I went to do my lawn and moved my truck back, you know, back into the shade. Come back two hours later because I'm going to take my son to his uncle's house to go swimming. And there's a split in my windshield. I wonder if that was really the heat that did that. Well, I mean, wouldn't you then think that people like in Vegas, they wouldn't have windshields. How old is the truck? It's a 99 Durango. No, yeah, that's, I don't think that was the heat, bro. Usually those, you know, seven-year-old trucks don't usually do that. The heat does crazy stuff, though. Yeah, yeah. To cars, because my friend backed into a pole, and she had this huge dent in her car, like, and it was an inverted dent, though. And then one day it was so hot that the dent. What is that? What is that? The dent went in. The dent went in. Well said. It was upside down. I didn't know what it is. I don't know what it is. Don't stop fighting. So, anyways, it was so hot one day. Yeah, Eddie, that the heat outverted the freaking bed. That's right. And fixed it to make it look as if it never even got inverted in the first place. So, heat can do crazy things. Heat does it to you. Hey, Chris. Outvert. You. See you later. That was P1 Chris. Wow. Thank you. On line four is P1 Combat Welder. Oh. Hey, what's up?
What's going on, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Not much. Eddie, I just want to ask Eddie a question. What is it about? That's what it's about. It's about Star Wars. Star Wars? Yeah. Star Wars. You got it, buddy. Okay, yes. What's up? I just want to know if you heard the new Star Wars game that's going to be coming out on Wii, where you can actually use controllers as lightsabers. What's it called? I don't know exactly what it's called. I was just hearing it on the radio. But it's going to be coming out in April or so. Dude, that excites me. If I can hold that little nunchuck wee thing and spin it around, and on the screen I see, like, lightsaber guy, oh, I would be in on that. I would look like that fat kid that did the Star Wars video. That sounds very cool. Yeah, I think it'll be a blast. All right, thank you very much. I'll be winded after about two seconds. Seriously. P1 Kitty McMue is on the line, ladies and gentlemen. Hello, Kitty McMue. How are you? Good, sir. Hey, I want to ask Sean if you've ever seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Yeah, I've seen it a few times. It's not my favorite. It's not my favorite. Okay. All right, well, that's about it. I'm sorry about that, sir. I hope that doesn't affect your day in a negative way any longer.
at the same time as Tim and Eric. Awesome show. Great job. But it's not my thing. So, quarter after 4 a.m. Sunday morning. Good. It's a busy... Prime time. Yes, prime time. Busy TV time right there for you, Sean. It's the time all the networks fight for. Yeah. This is an observation, Sean. I'm sorry. It's okay. Prime time. It's all right. P1, Jordy's on the line. Jordy? Yes. I'm just calling up that gentleman they called about his windshield cracking from the heat. Yes. I'm from the Chico Valley, and during the summers there, it gets up to like 105, 110 almost daily. And if you do drive your car in the sun for a while and put it in the shade, that rapid cooling causes the glass to interact quickly. Really? Yeah, it actually causes cracks. I've had a 2003 Mustang in my 2004, and then I had it on my 66, but that was an older car. All right, thank you. That makes sense though. Well, as he started to explain it further and further, I was doing the ADD thing where I was like, I was thinking about. But the main point was having it in the blaring sun and then putting it in the cool. He does crazy stuff. Makes it crap. Okay. Outverts. Yep. Outverts. You're inverted. I'm an introvert, but. Thank you, John.
Does anybody else have the issue where they use the Nasenex, but then like five minutes later they've got to blow their nose, and so you're blowing all the Nasenex out? Like, is it even doing its job at that point? Sky's shaking her head no. Never happened. Not once. Sky's never had this issue. No. You guys are so lucky. I wish we could trade sinuses. No, thank you. You want to text us? 35253. And opening scene, dazed and confused. Think about it. Today on the Mikey Show, we're going to do something called the Dumb Chick Challenge. Have you ever heard of that? You're going to win today. We also are going to do something called the Mikey Show Questionnaire. Oh, yeah. Now, we have spruced this bit up. Basically, we took what was a good idea, and we've made it better. Every question's different. We do not do the same questions for each of us any longer.
We all have different questions. In the Mike Show questionnaire, seven of us, we ask questions of each show member, but the only stipulation is that whatever your answer, you can only answer with people on the show. Very telling. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So in other words, if you were to be in a cabin, locked away, snowed in for the weekend, who would you be snowed in with? And so we can only answer with somebody else on the show. Very telling. Upper boy Randy. Hey, wrong show. He's not on the show. Oh, I thought you meant anybody. Oh, no. Hey, when we come back, I would like to play you the audio of the controversy that is going on in Louisiana because neighbors are upset about this man that will not stop mowing his lawn in a skirt. Ray Romano on the stand-up spotlight. My wife couldn't be with us. My wife is in Los Angeles right now. She's a little mad at me and my wife.
We had a little spiff, a little fight. Well, she yelled at me. I went to a bachelor party that I probably shouldn't have. Yeah, married men, you know, you know you shouldn't go. This was one of those bachelor parties where all the married men had to meet at the end of the night and go, all right, here's what we say we did. Listen up. Here's what happened. We got in a fight. With some guys, they ripped our underwear. That's all. Just go with that. They ripped our underwear and they smelled good. That's it. That's what happened. Jimmy, you fell and your nipple got pierced. Come on. This guy sounds like you're a whining little kid. This is The Mikey Show. On The Rock. Hello.

Sometimes things make sense in my head, but not to anybody else. Rock 105.3. What, what, what? Well, you just said that you smelled cinnamon. Yeah. And we were all giving reasons about why. Maybe there was some cinnamon, and Eddie gave his reason right before you turned on the mic. Oh, and it was not something that should be broadcast. I said I farted. Well, I just thought it was embarrassing for him. I thought that might be what it was. No, I don't think your farts smell like cinnamon. How do you know? Awesome.
It's more of a nutmeg hue. Thank you. Warm vanilla? I thought so. It could be cinnamon. I understand that Victoria's Secret is working on a new candle made of Eddie's Farts. Yes, it's just called Eddie's Farts. Light one up today. Available at Victoria's Secret. Let's see. Some texts coming in at 35253R. Mikey, I'm glad Eddie liked Enchanted because it makes me feel less gay for liking it too. Signed, P1JD. Mikey, I caught my girlfriend flossing her teeth with her hair. Eddie just looked like he was, Eddie just looked like he, like it came up and he grabbed it and he sent it back down. That is so foul. And Eddie went, bad vomit, back to your stomach, back to my stomach. What the heck?
She told me it's her hair and it's clean. How nasty is that? Dude. It's pretty nasty. Sky's got her hands up to her face like, that's awful. Mikey, I know what you mean about the nays next, but it doesn't matter. It starts to do its thing immediately. Signed, P1 Schizo. Mikey, the new Star Wars game is strong. It's called The Force Unleashed. It's very cool. We're going to get to this story about the guy in the skirt in just a second. I think we have mold. Inside the house or outside the house? In our shower. Not only that, but we've been reading that other neighbors, you know, we have this neighborhood email thing that goes out mass to everybody. Like a little newsletter. Little news thing. And we've heard from a couple other people that they've had it. And their solution is that there's no solution. Yep. What they do is they said, like one lady said.
That they had the guys come and spray like mold killer on it. And then paint over it with, you know, this paint. Yes, special primer for mold. And they said it came back. Same spot, it came back. That's one neighbor said that. Another neighbor says that they have to go to the extreme of like opening the windows in the bathroom. They installed a fan, a special fan. And then when they're done showering, they take a towel. And they wipe their ceiling down. Oh, my gosh. I'm like, there's no way to go about, that's too much stuff. Like, I don't want to do that. Remember I had mold? You did, too? In that downstairs bathroom, remember that little debacle I had? Yeah. I'll give you the name of my guy. He's rad. He's like a mold guy. Yeah. He'll come in and take care of it. That's awesome. What did he do?
Well, they had to, mine was way worse than probably what yours was because it was all in like the walls. Yeah. So they actually had to take, you know, take out the drywall and replace it and do all this crazy stuff to it. Yeah. But for yours, they'll just go out and test it, see if it's, you know, like that crazy bad mold. Right. Or how much it is in the walls and all that stuff and see where it is. He'll fix it. Yeah, but it sounds like Mikey's is going to be a recurring problem, whereas yours was like a leak, and then once you fix the leak, it stops with Mike. He's coming back. I'm sure they've seen it. I'm sure they do. Yeah, hopefully. They can make a recommendation. Like a fan is probably what you're... Is there a light in your shower stall? Yeah, you're going to have to put like a fan there. It's the size of a... That's fine. You just cut it. Silver dollar. Yeah, as long as the power's there, and then you just hook it to the... It makes me mad at the home builder, though, because why are a bunch of people having the same issue? Yeah, I don't know. I know when we bought a new home and we signed all the paperwork, there was a disclosure in there saying if you don't run your fans in your bathrooms and if you don't open your windows, your home can be subject to mold and we will not be responsible. Well, that's the thing. It's like there's no, okay, you know how when you go into some bathrooms, there's a light switch and a fan switch? We don't have that.
That doesn't exist in our bathroom. It's like if there is a fan going on in our bathroom. Like not even in your little commode or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, in there. But that's like the extra, it's like the little poop closet is what we call it. We call it the poop closet. Rebecca calls it that? Well, yeah, she's the one that came up with it. Oh, really? She had a much more awful name for it. But, you know, I'm cleaning it up for the radio. She's so cool. You know, but anyway, I haven't shaved today. I just felt my face and realized I haven't shaved. Does it look bad? No. Can you tell that I haven't shaved? Well, you have that, like, rugged look. You're going to go chop some wood after the show? Either that or work on Miami Vice, too. Oh. So anyway, yeah, Eddie, I've got to get your mold guy's name. Yeah, no problem. So there was a guy in Louisiana, and he's in Baton Rouge, and W-A-F-B, the AFib, I guess they call him. ran a story about it. Cut 11. A lot of people say, well, wear shorts. Well, the shorts trap the sweat. This is Jay Herod. He's wearing pants tonight, but while doing his job on an average summer day, catch Herod in a skirt. Usually this short green skirt. It's very painful. I mean, it's easy for somebody to point their finger at me and judge me. Honestly.
If he went through what I went through, he'd do it too. Herod says he suffers from a severe heat rash. to wear a skirt to ease the pain. But on sporadic occasions when the wind blows his way or while sitting on his lawnmower, according to this ordinance, Herod is breaking the law. It shall be unlawful for any person in any public place or in view of the public to intentionally expose his or her genitalia or undergarments. Mayor Donald Jefferson explained to Herod that the ordinance is aimed at folks who walk around town in saggy pants and expose themselves. But according to this, Herod's skirt and activities also apply. Even after presenting the Board of Aldermen with his note from a local clinic, this professional lawnmower did not get the okay to be an exception to the rules. As much as I respect the person that wrote this, she is not a physician. This is also from 2004. We're in 2008. Really, it gets so hot. I mean, it gets to be unbearable. It's hard on me to wear a skirt. It's not easy.
You can't go commando in a skirt if you're a man. And what is this business about a soothing skirt? How does that soothe? Because it lets the air flow all up in there. I gotcha. I just got that for the first time. Sky, explain it. Okay, I get it. I guess you've obviously never worn a skirt before. I have not. I have not. But why not wear a kilt? Well, what's the difference? A kilt is something a man wears, and it doesn't expose your genitalia. But a kilt is made of a very thick, irritating fabric, right? That's true. And that's not good. To his defense, he wears a really pretty skirt. Oh, that's a nice fabric. The fabric is just, it's dazzling. It's very flattering. It's really thinning, too. It's very thinning. Yeah, you can't. You're not allowed to do that to expose your genitalia to people. That's weird. When did they start that? I guess it's a new rule that they have. Those sticklers. Right? You know, man, I got to tell you, if my, you know, stuff was so, you know, rashy. Tell me if you guys feel this way. Four years, by the way. If my stuff was that.
Rashi, I don't know that I'd want to be out there in the first place doing that kind of stuff. Yeah, maybe it's time for a new life. Baggy shorts? Yeah. You know what I mean? Anything? Something. Or maybe like a mold fan installed somewhere? Yeah, there you go. Something like that. It's so gross. That's really a bizarre story. 570-1053. Text us at 35253 if you are a guy with a rash issue that rides more wearing a skirt. We want to hear from you, skirt wearers. All the skirt line. Yes. Hey, Ashley ate at that Indian restaurant, Bombay. I've never been there, but I've heard it's really good. Was it good, Ash? Was it the Bombay? Yeah, where is it? It was the Bombay. It was in Hillcrest. Oh, okay. It was in Hillcrest, and it was delicious. There's a waterfall in the establishment. Nice. By the way. Nice. What did you eat? I really enjoyed it. What did I have? Yeah. I picked, like, because what they do is you pick your sauce, and then you can choose how spicy you want it. You can choose what meat you want in it, like whether it be lamb, which is what my honey got, or tofu, which is what I got. It can do anything. So you got tofu, and how hot did you get your spice? I got mine spicy, which is the next to hottest that you can get. And what's the hottest called? It was called, like...
Tec-a-maca. Tec-a-maca. I think it's called tec-a-maca. You know, like it was this crazy pronunciation. But I didn't order that, although I wish I would have, because I got it spicy, and I was cool, bro. Like, I could have done the next one. What about your boyfriend, Mark? Well, he went for the medium spice because he has a sweating problem when he eats spicy food. To the point where he sweats so much, you would have thought he was outside in this, like, hot weather this weekend. But we weren't. But we weren't. That would make me laugh, though. I would have to. It's like Ben Stiller in The Long Game Pauly. Identical, Eddie. I'm not even kidding. And he ordered it medium. He ordered it medium thinking we'd be cool. Takes one bite, and then the brow of his hair starts to glisten. That's so awesome. And then like ten bites in. Do you laugh? Oh, my gosh. And then I'll do the thing where I'm like, oh, honey, you got a little bit. You missed a bead of sweat right here because it's so disgusting. That's awesome. Dripping everywhere. Hey, P1, Sarah wants to talk about the fabric and all that stuff. Right, Sarah? Yeah, my dad competes in the Celtic games, you know, where all the Scots are going, where they're kilts.
Yeah, I compete in those. I'm familiar with the circuit. Go ahead. Yeah, exactly. All he needs to do is use some gold bond, I bet. But dude is just, he's really, he wants to do his thing. You know what I'm saying? Leave him alone. You can't say that word. I don't know why she would say that word on the radio. That's a bad word, Mike. She was doing so good for a while. She's not well right now. Oh, my God. To her defense, she's not well right now. That's true. Sarah. Okay, let's do this. You text us and call us. 35253 is the text number. 5701053 is the phone number. And when we come back. We've got to read you this email. We've got this email, and you tell me how you would feel about this. You're in a store. You've got your kid. Your kid wanders off. Somebody yells at your kid. We'll talk about it next. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. The all-new Dodge Journey crossover is here. Featuring Mikey. It is not until you get to know me that you realize I'm completely self-absorbed. Eddie. I like my sandwich. I like my sandwich. Okay, Scott. I love you, Rob.
I'm the token Boston guy on the show. That's right. Every show should happen. And Ashley. You make a compelling person. I'm a compelling person. On Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It is 7.01. The Dr. Phil show is under fire for bailing out one of the alleged attackers in the Florida cheerleading videotape beating case. It was Trevor Immelman that was able to beat the Tiger. He won the Masters by three strokes over Tiger Woods. Trevor Immelman. Trevor Immelman. Ah, yes. Immelman. Immelman. We meet again. Welcome back to the show, ladies and gentlemen. Our text number is 35253. If you want to read our blogs, go to MikeyShow.com. Keyword, blogs. Very easy. Here's some of the texts we're getting. Mikey, I had a bad mold problem when we lived in OB. Too much moisture. A dehumidifier did the trick. I couldn't believe how much water came out of the air. That's P1 Aaron. Yeah, it's in the shower, so now it's all moist. I know three people in my life that hate that word. Moist? Yeah, they prefer that it's never said in their presence. It's uncomfortable. Yeah, a little bit. I get that. I feel it. Not a fan. Yeah, a lot of people are just, they're not a fan of the word. Just please don't say moist. Sure. If you could just use a thesaurus and come up with another word, I would really be happy. Then moist? Yeah, you know, Eddie, some people just...
They don't take the certain words, you know. Certain words are a little upsetting. Here, let's see. I'll tell you what other words are available. Okay. I have a thesaurus right here. Please. So let's see what other words we could come up with. I'd appreciate that. Instead of using the word moist, if you could please say damp or muggy. Oh, that works. See, I think a lot of these words are a lot worse. Clammy. If you don't want moist, we'll go clammy. How about this one, guys? You don't like moist. How about if we say it's dank? What? I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. That's a cool word. Or soggy. I think moist wins. We might have to go with moist. Welcome back to the show. Let's see. I got this email. I want to see what you guys think of this email. 570-1053 is our phone number, 35253 if you want to text about this. Mikey, I'm really mad and wanted to see what your thoughts are on this. I was at the grocery store with my 6-year-old yesterday, and he was pushing the cart. He went off on his own for a second, and while I was shopping, he apparently ran the cart into the back of some guy's leg. Ouch. The guy started yelling at my kid to be more careful, this and that, and then I came over.
I told the guy to never yell at my kid, and that is my job. He then started yelling at me and telling me that I was a bad parent and to watch my kid better. I decided to leave rather than have it escalate, but I was furious. What would you have done if you were in the same situation? That's from P1 Rita. Well, here would be my take. And you got to understand, I love my boy more than anything in the world. But the guy that's yelling. should have never yelled and should never yell at your kid. Nobody has a right to yell at anybody. Forget the fact it's a kid. It's worse that it's a child, but I don't think anybody should ever be yelling at somebody. So the first part of it is that, well, I probably should have been watching my kid. I should have been watching my kid. And if my kid goes off and he does something like that, you never know what's going to happen. You could end up with a maniac yelling at your kid.
And so what I would do is I would apologize to the person. Apologize. I would apologize. And I would say, hey, I'm really sorry my kid ran into the back of your leg. I'm sorry about that. I wish you wouldn't yell at my kid. That's what I would say. And I have been in these situations where I really have to try to get a hold of my anger. Because in that case, there would be a couple of things going on. I would want to kill. But what's the deal? What is that about? What is that about? When I now know about myself that if I'm angry, I'm hurt, sad, or fearful. In that situation, I'd be very hurt that somebody yelled at my kid. I'd be very hurt that they did. And I'd also be fearful because I don't know what else they'd do. And that would translate to anger, and I'd be mad. But what I would try to do is get a hold of it and say, hey, listen, I'm really sorry my kid did that.
And if it were possible, like if my kid weren't real upset, that's the time to teach a lesson. Can you tell this guy you're sorry that you hit him in the back of the leg? Yeah, I'm sorry. There you go. So my son's sorry. I'm sorry. And please don't yell at my kid. That'd be my deal. What about you guys? Oh, man. Eddie, where are you with this? It's so tough because it's your kid, you know, and you don't want anybody yelling at your kid. I understand, you know, where the guy's coming from. You know, I mean, that sucks that he got ran into and probably hurt. He probably lashed out. I understand that, but you don't yell at somebody else's kid. You can yell at me, you know, for not watching my kid. I deserve it. I wasn't watching my kid, and you can yell at me, and I'll accept that. But if you yell at my kid, then there's no more, like, me being cool accepting it, and I'm going to be pissed. 570-1053. Sky, what about you? Yeah, I agree 100% with what Eddie said, except for I want to take a step further and say that this gentleman is a monster. Oh, okay. A monster. Well, for yelling at a six-year-old, like if I were to get hit by a six-year-old, of course it would hurt and your initial reaction would be like, ah, you know. But then you'd look at him and be like, oh, it's a six-year-old. It's not like he was intentionally trying to hurt me. You don't know that.
You know, and that is a good point, actually. But, yeah, the conversation should be had directly with the parent and, yeah, never with the child. Yeah, it's a pretty tough situation because, you know, let's, for a moment, let's pretend that this email is coming from dude that got hit. Let's pretend that the email is coming from him instead of. The lady that's kid got yelled at. What if the email was coming from the guy that got hit and the email was, dude, I'm at the grocery store this weekend and some woman isn't watching her kid and the kid jams the back of my Achilles with a, you know, grocery cart. And he's laughing while doing it. Yeah. Ha, bam, take that. Takes on a different tenor. Then we're going. Yeah, what do we think about that? And his ankle starts bleeding right there in the store. And he dies. He dies? Yeah, blood loss. How did he write to eat it? It's his spirit reaching out to us. Or maybe he had like a blackberry. Yeah, he had a blackberry. That's his last words. Am I color fine? 5701053. P1 Taylor.
Ashley, you're not allowed to use that thesaurus anymore. If I pull up the thesaurus, I can look at it, but it's not for everybody. I have a smart boyfriend, and maybe he teaches me words over the weekend. All right. What of it? What of it? Tyrant. Tyrant Banks. Ambiance. Tyrant Banks. Ambiance. I saw the Tyrant Banks show this weekend. It was a good one. She was on fire. Same topic. That's right. P1 Taylor, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Yeah, go ahead, dude. What were you calling to say? I was calling to say that... I agree pretty much with y'all. That guy should never yell at a child. My child is very young right now, and I grew up with five younger brothers, though. And if one of them were under my care and did something, I'd expect that guy to cuss me up one side and down the other. But yelling at a child, that's just being a bully, you know? It's just... Now, is there an age where that changes? Yeah, is there an age? Did you hear that question, Taylor? Sky said, is there an age where maybe it's a different story?
I mean, that all depends on the child and everything, but in almost no case is it a 6-year-old child. You have to be 14 and did it. Okay, what about 13? Punch in the face. 13, but he's tall. 13, but he's tall. Big for his age. 13, but he's got a little whisper of a mustache. And it's okay. You've got to understand it. It's still a child, and you still shouldn't yell at me. Oh, I don't know, dude. You see that mustache coming in? Thank you. P1 Brad says it's all right to yell at him. Brad, you there? Yeah. Hello. Go ahead. Yeah, Mikey, Eddie, what's going on here? Why are you guys turning into beatings like Skylar? Yeah, we probably are. Beatings yelling kids. No, Brad, I want to hear. Four-year-old boy. Yeah. My boy did this to someone on the thing. First of all, I think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I think this person probably did not scream at their kid. Now, wait, wait, wait, wait, hang on, wait, wait, pause, pause, pause, pause, pause. Brad, we just, let's take it one step at a time, okay? All right. You're, the email says that they did, but I think it's interesting that you're immediately saying.
Well, I don't believe that. You don't believe that the guy yelled at her kid. And I'm just curious why. Well, I think this lady is very oversensitive because she realizes she did something wrong. She did not watch her kid. Something bad happened about it. So now she's trying to turn it around and say that someone screamed at her kid and it's their fault. Hey, Brad, just for the sake of argument, just for us to be able to have this conversation, I'm going to ask that we take the email for what it is. And let's say. The guy actually did yell at her kid. I want your take on that. See, the point is, if I came around the corner, if my kid ran into the back of an ankle like that, the guy, in my opinion, is rightfully to turn around and go, what are you doing? What are you doing? And then I'd be pretty pissed at the parent for not having their kid now just gave me a scar on the back of my ankle. And I can't yell at the kid now because he's a six-year-old. It hurts, dude. It's completely the parent's fault, as far as I'm concerned. I don't think the guy should blow up on a girl. You guys are obviously assuming, or it blew up on a kid, but you guys are obviously assuming that this person did rant for like 10 minutes, obviously. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm not assuming that the person ranted for 10 minutes. I'm not assuming that. I'm not making any assumptions. I'm going off what the email says. See, you've heard me say this before. Words are very important to me.
So all I do is take the information that I've been given. I'm not adding information to it. I'm not saying this guy yelled at this kid for 23 and a half minutes. Actually, it was 23 minutes and 42 seconds. So a little I'm taking it for exactly what it says. And the email says the kid went off on his own for a second while I was shopping. Apparently ran the cart into the back of some guy's leg. The guy started yelling at my kid to be more careful. That's all. So I'm just taking that part of it right there. Now, you're saying that's okay. I mean, hey, listen, if they jam the... It's okay. Did you hear what you just read? Yelling at my kid to be more careful. That's all he was yelling at. He wasn't saying, you little, diving little twit. So you think that's wrong for someone else to yell at someone else's kid. This is a problem with society. Everyone has the mentality that a village doesn't raise anyone anymore. It's all on the parents. But then when it's parents, well, you guys don't want to blame them. Okay. I do blame the parent. In fact, that was the first thing that I said, Brad. I said, I said, but you're still just acting like this guy's a monster. No, no, no. Hang on, Brad. I said, it's a parent's fault. And I said that the parent has some apologizing to do, but under no circumstance. Okay. I'm the guy. Okay. I had to admit it. I'm the guy. Okay. So Brad, have you done that?
No, I haven't. But I have a four-year-old kid. Yeah, I'd like to see someone yell at your four-year-old in front of you and see what happens. I would be so embarrassed if my kid did that. You know what else you'd be, Brad? You'd be mad. You'd be really mad if somebody yelled at your kid. To let my kid do that to someone else's ankle, oh, my God, I'd be so distraught. I would have been giving him a lashing right along with that guy next to him. Hey, Brad, listen. Since we have established, though, what your opinion is, which you're entitled to, bro, you're totally entitled to your opinion. I just want to make sure that later on this evening, you explain to your four-year-old how sometimes it's okay to yell at people. Because according to you, it is. It is. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Make sure you sit him down. But hey. You're turning into a screaming liberal. No, no, no, bro. A screaming liberal. Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait. Brad, Brad, hang on a second. We're just getting the rules straight, bro. That's all I'm doing. I just want to make sure the rules are straight. There is never, ever, ever, guys, you're right. There's never a reason to yell. Exactly, exactly. What we should do is we should live in a society where we just go around not yelling at people. How gay is that?
I mean, how gay is it that we're now in a society where we walk into places and don't even yell at people? I've heard even sometimes you smile now. Sometimes you even, oh my goodness, now you're completely overboard, Sky. Yeah, what is this, queery queer? I mean, come on, bro. Come on, bro. Go vote for Hillary, Mikey. That's right, I am. All right, Brad, thank you very much. You yell at that boy for me. P1 Kristen. Kristen, you there? How you doing? I'm doing great. How about yourself, Mikey? I'm good. Awesome. So I had this old man yell at my son in the Costco food court. I was with my sister. Love their hot dogs. They're really good. Yeah, I know, I know. We were having some of those. So we're like chit-chatting, me and my sister, because we don't see each other often with kids and all.
And our kids are with us, and they're talking. And, you know, kids are kids. So, you know, you get two of them together, they can get kind of loud. So there's this old man behind us with his wife, and he turns around and he looks at them, and he yelled so loud he told them to shut up. I'm not kidding you. What'd you do? He yelled so loud. You know how loud it is at a Costco food court? Everybody, like, shut up, and he turned around to look at us. Oh, wow. Listen, I'll tell you what, and this is going back to Brad that called just a minute ago. If somebody yelled so loud that everybody in the Costco is turning to look at his four-year-old, we heard how irritated Brad got with me in two minutes. I wonder how irritated Brad would be if somebody yelled at his four-year-old. Now, I know he's saying, well, I'd be watching my four-year-old. Maybe you would. Maybe you would. I'm just saying, dude, somebody yells at your four-year-old, you're upset. You're mad.
Especially like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure. And listen, I'm not the parents to blame. You're supposed to be watching your kid, you know, and so he's right. Brad was right when he said you're supposed to be watching your kid. No doubt about it. Eddie said it, too. I said it. You got to be watching your kids. Sky said, don't let your kid run around by itself. But also, if somebody rams a cart into you and they're and that person six years old, you know. Try to be all, you know, fairy query about it and don't yell at him. Man, Mikey, you sure are liberal these days. I know it. I know it. And then put a dress on him, I guess. I guess. I don't know. Yes, definitely. This text message says, Mikey, the parent got what they deserved. Kids should have been supervised. One moment, Rampage Cart. Next moment, could have been kidnapped. So true. P1 Monkey. So true. Mikey, I've stopped kids in stores and not yelled but told them they need to find their parents. P1L, Pumadora. Yeah, that would probably be my first reaction after getting rammed. Where's your parent right now? The best is when I'm checking out and I'll hear Lola.
Like, attention, Lola's mom. Attention, Lola's mom. I wonder why Lola. I mean, of all the names. All the names. All the names. At number two register. Yes. Attention, Lola's mom. Attention, Manzanita. Attention, Manzanita's mother. Totally common. Yes. Mikey, you should be aware. What? What in the world? The first name that came to mind. Not Jen, not Jen. He's on the case. Attention, Noranito's mother. Attention, Noranito's mother. What the hell? Mikey, you should be aware of your surroundings and not be... I can't recover. And not be run down by a runaway car at P1 Chimuko. Oh, good. That was on the last speaker. Attention, Chimuko's mother. Please. Please. Get your kid. Oh, my gosh. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. That's right. Sing it, Eddie. So call us, Texas. When we come back, we're going to do something called the Dumb Chick Challenge. No, thank you. Should be fantastic. Also, we got some great, great stuff for you, man. One of the things that I want to play for you.
is apparently in Detroit, a city council meeting turned into just a full-on YouTube shouting match. Oh, my. We got the audio. And that, along with the Dumb Chick Challenge, is coming up next. The Mikey Show is on. It's about to get a station, right? I need protection. Protection? You're a chalupa. I'm a bacon club chalupa from Taco Bell. See all this irresistible bacon? I'm John Monte with Traffic on Rock 105.3. All right, dig, if you will, this picture. Imagine you're going to a Padre game. In fact, they're starting a series with the Rockies, I believe, starting tomorrow. So you go down to Petco Park. You decide, I'm going to have some beer, real good, real tasty. You get a little tipsy, a little drunk, and you're screwed. You're going to, you know, what do you do? You don't want to drive home. Well, how about staying at the Hard Rock? Oh, yeah. It's right there, right next to Petco Park. And even better, how about you own that suite that that drunk guy wants to stay at? Oh, wait. I'm telling you, dude, that is the way to go. If you are part owner of the Hard Rock downtown San Diego, there are so many opportunities for people to use your suite. Not only is San Diego such a huge tourism destination. Look at the weather this past weekend. You think people back east are going to come down here? Thank you. Well, not only that, but people that go to the game at Petco Park, they need somewhere to stay too. And people that come in for series, like I was there. We were all there during the Dodger series last couple weekends ago. And I saw tons of people from L.A. staying at that Hard Rock. So great investment opportunity. But that to me is such a side moot point because it is how the owners are treated. They're treated like rock royalty. It is.
Like nothing you've ever seen before. It is like being treated like a rock star. So check into it. It's the Hard Rock downtown San Diego. The Mikey Show. Home of the movie word association game. Basically, we get a word and we got to go around in a circle and say a movie with that word in it. You probably play this around the campfire. That's right. What is our word, Zeth? It's movies with a month of the year in time. Ashley. November rain. That's right. November rain. The Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. Back to the show. It's 7.32. Obama and Hillary are in the middle of a war of words with Obama saying shame on Hillary for calling him an elitist. This is one of my favorite stories of the year.
The Yankees had to remove a Boston Red Sox jersey, a worker planted under a dugout of their new stadium to jinx the team. Rob. Text us at 35253. Call us at 570-1053. Here's a text we just got. Mikey, let's not forget about a certain member of the show who, after being irritated by kids at a funeral home, wanted to fight them outside. You know what? Let's be one instigator. Let's be one instigator. Let's be one instigator. Can I speak, please? Yeah, Sean did that. May I speak to that, please? Yeah, go ahead, Sean. I was not the one who wanted to fight. They were the ones who wanted to fight. I stayed inside while they waited outside so they could jump me and my wife. But I heard they were just six years old. Yeah, that's what I heard, too. They were not six years old. They were actually 18 and 19. Gotcha. Sean had to hit the button on himself. Good morning, Mikey Show. I haven't listened to your show in about a year due to me working the night shift. I'm working days now.
How do I become a P1? It's a good question. A very good question. The way that you become a P1 is you listen to The Mikey Show. Period. When you call into The Mikey Show, you turn your radio down, get to the point, and don't cuss. There's no official membership that you have to go through. As long as you listen exclusively to The Mikey Show, you're good to go. So, you know, don't be spreading your seed all over town with all the other radio shows. Well, you know what I'm saying. I do. Just listen to the mic. Spreading your ears around. Yeah, you know, venereally. Don't do that. Don't spread your ears around in a venereal way. I'm just saying, if you do, it's probably what you'll get. I mean, I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I understand the guy that wore the skirt that had to mow his lawn was listening to Jeff and Jer. And next thing you know, the guy had to wear a skirt just to get the... See. Exactly. So...
Let's get into it. What do you say? It is 734 and we got a full show for you today. 35253 is the text and our phone number is 570-1053. Before we went to break, we said that the Detroit City Council got into a fight. Now, this is the same Detroit City Council that has the mayor that was like fooling around. He had about a billion text messages with this lady. And everybody found out about it, and then he called the race card, and he said, oh, this is just a witch hunt because I'm black, and it was that kind of deal. Well, I guess they got into it at the city council meeting. I don't know that he was involved, but we'll listen and find out. Cut 12. I mean, I could say it's my view that it's okay to murder somebody, but we all know that murder is against the law. Yeah, no, this is based on... I do say it's based upon your experience. All due respect, President Pro Tem, I have a floor. I just wanted to say, I said based upon his experience. Well, you just jumped on another council member about interrupting. You were being attacked me, and I didn't attack you. I have the floor. We know you do. But I said based upon his experience. I have the floor, President Pro Temp. I don't want to hear you anymore. And you don't have to hear me. We don't have to hear you. Then be quiet, because I'm speaking and I'm asking a question. You do that at home, not here. I'm not your father, but I am the president, and right now I have the floor. Don't bother that. Be respectful. You may not do that at home.
but you're going to do it up in here. Stop interrupting. You know how to treat other women better. I'm the last one to talk. I'm the first one to talk. You're out of order. I'm not your sister. I will call this to adjourn if you want. That's right. We're going to take a brief recess. Do it. No, I did not. You tried to say I said, did I say based upon your years of service? Mercy. Sean, I will say that there is no less than one dozen drops from that one clip. That may be my favorite. So there you go. Detroit City Council really getting along. Of the Dumb Chick Challenge. This, if you are new to the show, strap yourself in. You're going to enjoy this. It's a thrill ride. We take the three dumb chicks on the show. Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. In no particular order. That is correct. We ask them questions that a grocery store cart-wielding child can answer. And, uh, listen. The questions are...
assigned a point value from one to three, and the first person to five points is the winner. And so they could do it with two questions. They could take a three-pointer and a two-pointer and get them right, and the game is over. That would seem like the smart way to go about it. Whoa, shot at Sky. Well, I think I understand what you're saying, Ashley. Sorry, Sky. When you say shot at Sky. I don't understand. Well, I think, Eddie. I think that what Ashley is implying is that, you know, you're making reference to Sky. I wasn't, actually. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse. Excuse. Would it make not more sense to answer two questions than three? Not if one is extra special hard. You see, Sky does a two-pointer, a two-pointer, and a one-pointer. It's effective. I've been on a roll. It's effective. It seems like the long way to go about it to me. Confidence. Brain power. I'd go a three to two. I'd go a three to two. I'd go a three to two. A three to two. That's all I would do. All right. Well, then let's get started with the game then. Here we go. How rude. P1 Brian Virus. Are you there? Yeah, I'm here. And is it Brian Virus or Brain Virus? Well, I don't know. Ask Sky. No, you're so funny. Come on now. Hang on.
Oh, you're so hilarious. One time, Skye. One time you said. I know, like seven years ago, I said. Seven? She said a guy was having Brian surgery, okay? No, I did not. I said it was the Brian virus, and it should have been the brain virus. This guy remembers that. Yes, I know. Years later. Great. Anyway, welcome to the show, Brian virus. How's it going? It's good. Who would you like to select in the Dumb Chick Challenge? I want Mr. Dumb Chick, Boston Rock. You got it. Yeah. Hang on the line. He's not one in a while, though. P1 should know that Sean's filling in for me today. That is not true. That is not true. That is not true. That is not true. You pick me. Good luck, Sean. Ladies and gentlemen, P1 Coco is introduced to the room. Hello, Coco. How are you doing? Great. How are you? I'm fantastic. How about that weather this weekend, Coco? Oh, it's beautiful. I woke up this morning and listening to you guys, and at 6.30, it's nice and bright out. I love it. Was it pretty warm where you were at? Yeah, we're in Escondido. Oh, so you were hot cocoa. Oh, get it. It's all that work. Just for that. And Eddie's now standing. He is now standing up. I mean, not one single person left. So much work for you. And the bow. Eddie, do we get a bow?
Eddie, I loved it. I loved it. No, you didn't. You didn't laugh. On a scale of one to ten, I give it about a seven and a half to eight. No, you do not, Mike. You're better than that. Nine. Eddie, a nine. It was a nine. Clearly a nine. It took so much work to get to that. It was a lot of work, but listen. No, it was not. It was worth the journey. It was worth the journey. And I didn't even get, I mean, nothing out of you guys? I'd give anything to get two minutes back. I'm sorry. I want making up. Two minutes. Forget it. Hang on the line, Coco. I want the DVD. I want the extras. Yeah, Coco, who do you want? I want Sky. There you go. Yeah, that's my girl from the D-Do. Well, she's on a roll. Hot Coco? Yeah. Hot Coco's pretty good. Brilliant. I mean, please. P1 Sam. Yeah, we heard it. Hello. How are you, Sam? I'm doing all right. Eddie's, you know what? Eddie's now sitting back, checked out of the show, and said, fine, if you're not going to appreciate this, I ain't giving it for free, folks. All right? That's what he's saying. All of this. P1 Sam. You get Ashley, okay? I do. Hang on the line. Eddie, I like the line. What is the prize? Eddie's shaking his head no. He's just saying no. Oh, wow. Stop it, Eddie. Eddie, what is the prize today? Well, we have Seether and Flyleaf at Viejas this Saturday. Wow.
He doesn't even seem into it anymore. Does it come with some hot cocoa? All right. See, that was an obvious shot over the bow, Sky. I'm just asking. Obvious shot over the bow. Do me a question. Salt in the wound is what I'll call it. Oh, no. Oh, no. Let's see. All right. Well, let's get this thing started. First person of five points wins. You get a one, two, or three-point question. Ones are easy. Threes are hard. And we will begin this time with Sky. We will? Well, yeah. I think Boston Rob went first last time. Oh. So, Sky, what do you want? A three-pointer here? You want to start out real big? Yeah. writing me notes. The first one said hot cocoa. Just to remind me. And then the second one said highbrow. That's how you roll. Hey, listen. As soon as I heard it, I thought the writer strikes over. I like this stuff. It's good. Now the new note says too good for you. My bad.
He's choosing to communicate through handwritten notes. Yeah, he will not speak. This guy, he's not speaking. Eddie has been writing on a piece of paper now for the past minute and a half and showing these notes to Sky. Frivolously. That's right. Well, not frivolously necessarily. Frivolously. Not necessarily. Fervently, I think, maybe. He's been writing frivolously. Well, now I believe the notes are for all of us because the new one says, hate you people. Oh, Eddie. Oh, God. I think that was for all of us. Well, you know what? We better just get going. I've got the two-point questions ready to go here, Sky. That sounds perfect, Mike. All right, let's start with a two-pointer for Sky. Sky, meaning high in Latin, what is the term for a singer's range who is between tenor and soprano? Weed. Just marijuana, Mike. They call that singer a THC. Marley. Ashley. Between tenor and soprano. And you said meaning high? Meaning high in Latin, yes. With a term for a singer's range who is between tenor and soprano. Alto is coming to mind, but I think that's low. I'll say bong.
Bong shop quartet. Yeah, all I can come up with is alto. You are correct, Sky. You are correct. See, this is terrible, Eddie, because this convinces her this is the way to go. She'll never go out on a limb because she gets these two pointers right. I'm good. Way to go, Squire. Thank you, Ashley. Ash, would you like a one, two, or three-point question? No, Sean is not playing for Ashley. Ashley is playing. Go big or go strong. Or go home or get... Well said. Get to the bank. You know what's up. Hey, you know what's up. Eddie and Ash are communicating.
Skye just... He's writing notes. Ashley just said, you know what's up, and she pointed at Eddie when she said it. Can't say that one on the end. Whoa! You cannot say that one. Eddie's continuing to write notes. Yes, yes, cannot repeat that one. What was on that last note? I don't think we should say it on the broadcast. Well, it started with the word eat. We're not on Sirius or XM. Let's just try it. Well, it started with the word eat, and I will not finish. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know that that one's appropriate. No. I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Eat was the verb, so you figure the rest out, okay? Eat cocoa. Me and Eddie got this. Give me a twee, please. Okay, a three-point question. Wow. You can't get that. You can't get that, right? I don't know why, but this line keeps ringing. Yeah. It's not showing anything. Can you see it ringing in there? I don't know what it is that this line keeps ringing. Hello? Hello? Is Jennifer Hansen there? Oh, that line? Yeah. That doesn't come up in my... It keeps ringing. Sir, you're reaching a radio station. There's no Jennifer Hansen here. Matter of fact, I'm going to hit that. Yeah. Sir, to be honest with you, I don't even know what the phone number is. This comes up on a mixing board and I can't tell you what number you're dialing. My guess is it's wrong. Yes, it's the wrong number. Sorry about that. Hello. Thank you. I am Jennifer Hansen. That's right. Tell him that you reached a radio station and it's the wrong number.
He still wants to repeat the number. Yes. Just to be sure. Right. Actually, I'm Jennifer Hansen. What are you doing here? All right. Ash, you want a three-point question. Wow. That's gross. Well, she wants a twee, please. All right. Here is your twee. Ashley, known for its no-haggle policy, what new car brand did General Motors launch in 1990? They had a no-haggle policy. That's a good one. New car brand came out in 1990 from General Motors. Think about it. Ashley is thinking. She was rubbing her shoulders. They're sweaty. Gross. I'm really sweaty today. Extra deodorant. I forgot to put on deodorant today. That's so gross. That is not true. I refuse to believe it. I refuse to believe it. People don't forget. I refuse to believe it. Just when I thought I couldn't sweat anymore.
Well, there are some things that they come, you know, they're like, you know, natural. You brush your teeth. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You guys can brush my teeth, Eddie. You put the deodorant on. I mean, you do all these things. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I will say Chevrolet. Well, that's a good guess. The Z100. Chevrolet came out in 1990. Rob, you have to rub it in by saying that was a good guess. No, I didn't know. Ford, that was one of my battle teams. Ferrari. I don't... That is incorrect. That was in Fury. Incorrect, Ash. It was the Saturn. It was the Saturn. Ashley just looked at me like, you know what? What, Eddie? Chevrolet. Chevrolet 1990. The awful guest.
It was a car, dude. Ashley just squinted. I'm just saying, at least we were in the ballpark. I mean, that's what you're hanging your hat on. I'm just saying. At least it was a car. It could have been worse. All right, Boston Rob. It could have been. Go big or go to your place. You know what I'm doing. Three-pointer, right? Yeah, duh. Yeah, you know what I'm doing. There ain't no eight-pointers available. You know what I'm doing. You know what I'm doing. Oh, gosh. Boston Rob, who was the first vice president of the United States of America? Big smile. He's got a smile on his face. Mike, give me an hour and a half here, will you? I know this, but Mike, I'm going to take my time. Why? He's like the guys in the draft that take the full 15 minutes even though they know who they're going to take. I know the president was George Washington. That's fantastic, Rob. Congratulations. Thank you. Well done. You know what? I don't know. Mike, I know that four plus four equals eight. Mike, I know that each day the sun rises in the east. Does that mean anything to you?
I don't know. I'm going to say Thomas Jefferson. That's incorrect, Rob. That's incorrect. The answer to the question is John Adams. John Adams was the first vice president. Thomas Jefferson was the second vice president and the third president. I've been watching the series on HBO. Show off. Great. You would not like it. But history buffs would bother. What is it? What's it called? John Adams. Oh, really? Dude, that guy was a lot more important than people got, that he ever got credit for. Really? He was amazing. Wow. He invented the phlobie, I think, is that vacuum that has your hair on. That is inaccurate. He did not? No. He did not do that. And the blow dryer. And the blow dryer, that is right. And the blow torch, believe it or not. He did come up with that term, set it, and forget it. He did. You're saying John Adams invented the set it and forget it concept. He was the first to use that terminology. I just got a visual of Ron Popeil dressed as John Adams in that infomercial. Oh, my God. Sky, you're up. Oh, yes. Hello. I'm going to guess that you're going to take a two-point. Wow, you are a smart gentleman. Two-point question here. Let's make it an easy one, Mike.
Sky, what is the name of the former decorated Army veteran? Oh, man, now she's... But wait, it's... But wait, but wait. Like, seriously? Hang on, though. Hang on. You haven't even finished yet. What is the name of the former decorated Army veteran who was executed for his involvement in the Oklahoma City bombings? Aha. Wow. And? Wow. Take that. Well, I immediately have a name. Yes. And I believe it's correct. Okay, she's smiling. Gary Schoenwetter. Gary Shandling. Barry Sanders. It's the only name that comes to mind is Barry Sanders. Shut up. Shut your mouth. I believe David Hasselhoff. Yeah, I think that was it. I don't. Terrible man. Yes. Terrorist. Shut up. Okay. General Norman, Oklahoma. Is it Timothy McVeigh? You are correct. Well, you don't have one-pointers for your Achilles heels. That's true. Last week I went through like four of them. One-pointers are tough. Wow. All right, Ashley. Come on, you got to make your move here, kid. Come on.
I wouldn't put on anything to make you hotter. She put on a sweatshirt. Her boyfriend's going to get that back and go, did I lend this to John or my girlfriend? He loves my sweat. Did I lend this to an Iraqi taxi driver? Did I lend this to a swimming pool? He loves my sweat. Did I leave this at that Indian restaurant that we ate at? Shut up. Did Sasquatch borrow my jacket again? I can't remember. And use it as toilet paper? I'm sorry, Ashley. I'm sorry, Ashley, that that made me laugh. All right, here we go. What are you going to do here, Ash? Make your move. You can do this one. What happened? Did a ham sandwich borrow my... One, two, or three-point question. Now, you're not on the board yet. You can do it here with a three-pointer. You can catch up. Oh, I know. And that's what I wanted to do. And then Eddie's trying to tell me to do a one. Did an ostrich lay an egg in this seven and a half years ago? An ostrich? Oh, my God. You're a hooligan. Did a band of gypsies come through my... And borrow my...
Oh, man. Okay, come on, Ash. What do you want? What did you want? I was saying that. One, a two. Three, please. A twee. All right. Here comes your twee point question. Ashley, your three point question is, the alternative fuel ethanol is made from what vegetable? Go green, girl. Go green or go strong. Go green. Go green or go home. She knows everything about it. Eternal what? Okay, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going to read this again. Go green. Go green. Hold on. Come on, girl. She drinks out of that cyber phone cup again. Leave her alone. She's looking at me right now, drinking from a sippy straw. Running a generator. Ashley, the alternative fuel ethanol is made from what vegetable? Oh, alternative fuel. Oh, you just IM me, Terry Schiavo. That's inappropriate. It's out of the ground. Oh, that's terrible to refer to somebody as that. Okay, so, Ash, the alternative fuel ethanol is made from what vegetable? I so freaking know this. Okay, here it comes. Headphones are off. Headphones off. She's thinking. Now she's shaking her head. She's pumping her fist. She's pumping her fist. She's yelling at herself. She's yelling at her brain. That's right. She's pleading with her brain cells. Please come to me.
Please. Do this for me. One time. I freaking know this, Mike. I know that I know this. It's a freaking dress and leggings, actually. It's leggings. That's all it is. I'm going to say, even though I totally know this, I'm blanking. I'm going to go with my gut and broccoli. Your gut says broccoli? I mean, of all the things that I could say. So that's not right? It does give me a lot of gas. I end up blaming it on the dog. You're stupid. Gas is being made. I do not blame my gas on the dog. It's one smelly car, Mike. Shut up. Hey, did a piece of broccoli borrow my jacket? Oh, shut up. I'd be so good. Oh, my. Ashley, the answer is corn. So there it is. Corn isn't green. Next time.
She's the best. Are you kidding me? Yeah, no. She's joking, right? She's not joking. Come on now. She's kidding. I don't. Guys, she's kidding. Let's move on to Boston Rob. I want to redeem myself. Give me another three. How much would you give up? A three? Go back to that page. I didn't think you'd go there. Oh, yeah. Here you go, Rob. That's a dry well. In Roman numerals. Oh, don't stop pushing that. Here we go. Rob, in Roman numerals, L is equivalent to what? Right after T, right? Roman numeral Q. Mike, just give me four and a half hours and I will answer this question. Oh, man. You are cute. Rob, in Roman numerals, L is equivalent to what? I'm going to go 100 because I have no idea. But that is incorrect. L is the equivalent to. Is it four D's? That's 50, Rob. The L is 50. Sky. The score is Sky 4. Everybody else nothing. Sky, you can wrap it up. Come on, squad.
By answering this one-point question. Please get this right. One-pointer, one-pointer, one-pointer. Skye, what was the name of the vessel that carried the pilgrims from England to Plymouth? Blood. Hold on. The famous blood vessel. The minnow? Titanic? Well, it doesn't help because I'm in here. It was the Andrea Doria, Mike. The Enterprise? Oh. Carnival Cruise. The elation. Was it the love boat? Okay, I'm going to be really embarrassed. Come on, Scott. You got it. Pilgrims. Was it the dock or the gopher? The Pacific Princess. Are you done yet?
answer with his music in the back. I think Captain John Smith is on the Lido deck. Gosh, I'm going to be so embarrassed if this is wrong. Is it the Mayflower? You are correct. Face shuttle. I didn't know. Yeah, hot cocoa. I'm not making fun of you. You want hot cocoa? Yeah. Coco, are you there? I'm here. Hey, Coco, is it hot this weekend? Shut up. I thought I would win. Drink some water yourself. Hey, whatever, broccoli. Coco, I have a question for you. What's that? Do you have a best friend? Yes, I do. Okay. Is she African-American? No. Okay. I was confusing you with someone else. I thought I saw you and your friend Coco and Chanel, and I was going to say, Coco, Chanel, I saw you. Oh, my gosh. Text Mikey to 35253. Standard rates apply.

cleaning the house and all the animals. Oh my God, was that not awesome? I swear to God. I personally like the song when they're going through Central Park and everybody joins in. Hell yeah. Do you like that one, Taylor? That has never been said in a sentence, ever, about Enchanted. They should put that as part of the reviews on their movie poster. Eddie from The Mikey Show says, hell yeah. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. It's a Mikey show. It is 8-12. Britney Spears was involved in a fender bender on Saturday night. Witnesses saw her putting on makeup at the time of the accident. I know everybody's going to be really sad about this, but Bryant Gumbel will no longer be the play-by-play guy for the NFL Network. What? I mean, he was so... In a world of increasing scrutiny, coming down on people of color, being involved in network programs.
Why would a company like Home Box Office fire an upstanding African-American? Home Box Office. Welcome back. I'm Brian Gumbel. Tonight, our focus is, why would Home Box Office... Excuse me, it wasn't Home Box Office. NFL Network. Whatever. Another mistake. Tonight's topic is, why is the NFL so racist? None of their players are African-American. No African-Americans are allowed to go to games. That's not true. They play in them and they're all insane. Yeah, I've seen them before. It's equal opportunity. Yeah, it's America, dude. HBO's Armin Kattan takes a closer look at this problem. A bunch of stars, man. A ton of stars got together for autism education. On Comedy Central, they did this thing called Night of Too Many Stars. And it was a lot of very famous comedians. And I like it because it's not...
Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal. Oh, darn it. It's Sarah Silverman and Chris Rock and people like that. There was a couple of uh-ohs in there, but, I mean, for the most part, it looked pretty cool. Jon Stewart interviewed President Bush, who was being played by Will Ferrell. Oh, no. Cut to. Please welcome, via satellite, the President of the United States of America, George W. Bush, sir. Thanks for joining us. At our benefits, sir, we really do appreciate it. Thanks, John. It is with great honor and dignification that we are by hell with it. I'm gone in seven months. I don't have to talk all president anymore. It's really hanging quite well, Mr. President. Let me ask you, as you're winding down the second term as president,
Any thoughts? Are you in a reflective mood? Hell no, John. I'm pumped as s***. This is a goddamn victory lap. I just won the Daytona 500, and now it's time to do some smoky burnouts. It's smoky burnout time, in other words. You're saying it's smoky burnout time? That's right. That's right, Mr. Funnyman. You want to know the first thing I'm going to do when I get out of here? I'd like to know. I'm going to crack a bud. Watch a Rangers game and walk around my house naked. Okay. All right. Hell, I might even rub one out. All right. When was this on, Seth? Did you see it? Parts of it. When was it on? It was on last night. It was about probably three or four hours long. Now, this has got to be good. This has got to be good. Chris Rock and Stephen Wright come out and do each other's material. Oh, that's fun. Really?
Crazy. That's crazy because... Polar opposites? Polar opposites. Cut eight. Normally I would come up and do some stand-up, but since I have a special coming out on another network pretty soon, I contractually am not really allowed to do my stand-up. But there's no law that says I can't do jokes of another comedian. So I thought, hey, why not do the jokes of my favorite comedian, Mr. Stephen Wright? So here goes Chris Rock does Stephen Wright. I went to a restaurant. The menu said they serve breakfast anytime. So I ordered French toast during the Renaissance. It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it. I recently moved into a new apartment, and there was this switch on the wall that didn't do anything.
So anytime I had nothing to do, I just flicked that switch up and down, up and down. And then one day I got a call from a lady in Germany and she just said, cut it out. Hey, look who's here. Stephen Wright. How you doing? How you doing, sir? All right. How do you like doing your jokes? It was good. Okay. Marion Barry at the Million Man March. You know what that means? Even in our finest hour, we had a crackhead on stage. Pretty good, pretty good. A friend of mine has a trophy wife, but apparently it wasn't first place. I love this. I wonder if I'd do it forever. Yeah, top that, motherfucker. If O.J. wasn't famous, he'd be in jail right now. If O.J. drove a bus, he'd just be Orenthal, the bus-driving murderer. Thank you very much.
grocery store and I see a guy pushing 30 shopping carts across the parking lot, sometimes I say, you know, somebody might want to use one of those. I don't get it. That's fantastic. That's so good. That's good stuff. I'm bummed I missed that. I know it. Comedy Central? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It'll be on 100 times. Okay, today. Probably. Eight times. Sarah Silverman, about charities. Cut six. Thank you so, so much. I'm so excited to be here for this amazing, amazing cause. You know, as a huge star, I get asked to do so many fundraisers. And I have to be very, very selective and only choose the ones that are on television. Events like this, but it's almost impossible to get so many celebrities together at the same time without cocaine.
It's funny, it must be benefit season because last month I did two benefits. One was for AIDS. It was an AIDS benefit, which was great, but tonight's going to be a lot better because I won't have to worry about who I hook up with. I hook up with. The benefit was for the ACLU who fights against the use of torture. Torture. Jeez, terrifying. John McCain was tortured. He was tortured for six years in a Vietnamese prison. And that's why I always say you have to have a safe word, you know? I love it. I love it. Oh, boy. Man, it's like when you listen to her stuff, you're almost sweating. It takes your breath away. Yes. Like you're almost sweating when you listen to her material. Oh, my gosh. She's got rocks. Sarah Silverman.
Love it. So who won Miss USA? It happened over the weekend. Yes. Now, you remember Miss USA was the pageant that produced. I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so. Or it was Miss Teen USA. She was Miss Teen USA. Exactly. But this is, you know, varsity. Right. This is not JV. Yes. This is Miss USA. Who won, Skye? 26-year-old Crystal Stewart. Who is Miss Texas. How about that? Let's take a listen to Miss Texas. Cut 15. The first runner-up is Mississippi. It's so strange. Oh, Eddie says she is beautiful. She's a beautiful black girl. Do you know anything about chocolate? Not much, but I do know that Crystal Stewart is now Miss USA 2008. That's the chocolate I'm talking about. Aren't pageants strange because you find out who the winner is by hearing who second place is? Yeah. It's strange because, you know, as second place, you came in second place. And so it's kind of a big deal. Yeah. But you can't really celebrate because it's not really your moment. It's the winner's moment. At the same time, it's your moment. Yeah. You just get glossed over. So you get glossed over and you have to pretend that you're happy. Right. But you're not really happy. You're sad it wasn't you.
That was number one. You kind of want to hear your name, right? Yeah. It's like in American Idol. What if they were like, and second place is Bobice. Right. And then you're like, oh, that means that Carrie Underwood won. I'm confused. You have to figure it out in your head. Yeah, this Miss USA pageant had a whole panel. There were like 10 judges or something. It was ridiculous. Sean Merriman, baby. Yeah, yeah. And one of them was Heather Mills when she was introduced was booed. Are you serious? Dude, she's become like a villain. She really has become a villain. Let's listen to Heather Mills on the TV show Extra, Cut 22. She also told me she's planning to tango again with her former Dancing with the Stars partner, Jonathan Roberts. This time, without her prosthetic leg. So I thought if I do a backflip, and all these other movements without my leg on, and just like in a black catsuit, it would be great. You can do a one-legged backflip. We did it the other day, yeah. She's not backflip. That makes us love you, Heather. That's right. That is right. You guys want to hear the song, I Sit On You? I thought it was appropriate timing.
This is what I do. I sit on you. Sit on you. Sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. Right on your lap. This is what I do. I sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. Sit, sit, sit on you. Sit, sit, sit on you. That comes from the TV show. Hey, Frank and Ollie, you guys are awesome. Nice work. Nice work, Frank and Ollie. Congrats. You're good. What is the show called, Shawnee? Tim and Eric Awesome Show. Great job. What was the visual that went along with that? It's a man probably about 50 years old, balding, very overweight, dancing in front of a blue screen. Really, really awesome. Yeah, well, hello.
What do you think it was? I'll send you the link. Please do. I would like to see. My wife and I, Rebecca, we went to some friend's house on Friday night. And there was a whole bunch of people there. And we were sitting down on the couch. And there was no more room for, you know, like we were getting this place, the last places. And Rebecca sat on my lap. And she started to sing. Went just like that. Eddie Pac-Man Jones. Give me a Pac-Man Jones update. He is going to be filing for reinstatement tomorrow with the NFL. Do you think he'll get reinstated? That's a good question. I mean, Roger Goodell, he don't mess around. And Pac-Man, it's not like he's on the straight and narrow. It's like we're still here. He's still going to strip clubs and living like Pac-Man. So I don't know. I will be surprised if he gets reinstated.
Obama and Hillary have really been having this war of words. They've been fighting, right, Skye? Oh, yeah. What's it all about? OK, so it all started with Barack Obama a week ago. He was at a event in Pennsylvania where he was speaking and referred to some small town Pennsylvanians as, quote, bitter and, quote, cling to guns and religion. Really? He said that? Yeah. And I haven't read anywhere what like prompted that, you know, because it's so escalated since then. But that was the initial thing that started it all off. Well, the Clinton campaign gets word of this. She speaks, talks about it and calls Barack Obama out of touch and said his remarks were demeaning and elitist. So then back to Obama. He basically says, shame on you, Hillary. I expected this out of John McCain, but he's disappointed. Hillary should know better. Shame on her. He goes on to refer to her. She's talking like she's Annie Oakley. Hillary Clinton's out there like she's on the duck blind every Sunday, like she's packing a six shooter. Come on. She knows better. Wow. So it's like, yeah, not good. I wonder what he was talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. That would get him there.
The Eddie line is ringing. Oh, no. Well, we know why. Hi, Barbara. Hi. Hi, Barbara. Hi. Oh, let me guess. It's Monday, so it's another opportunity to pick on Hillary Clinton. Is that it? Oh, it must be day of the week. It must be any day of the week, then. No, Barbara, we're just kidding. I know we do that every day of the week. No, Barbara. No, quoting your girl. For your information, I am on the board of directors for... Hillary Clinton's campaign here in San Diego County. You are? I am. Oh, so it's finally coming out. You actually work for Hillary Clinton. I thought you were just a concerned citizen with an opinion. I'm a concerned citizen with an opinion. I don't have a problem. Well, it sounds like you do. Okay, I have a problem. Let's be honest.
But anyway, there's a few things about Hillary Clinton that maybe if you guys just took a second to. Well, this is usually where you launch into propaganda that I don't believe is true. Now, tell me you're not going to do that. These are all facts proven. So I can go to Wikipedia and search Hillary and this will do it. Then the floor is yours. Absolutely. I want to let you guys know. That Hillary Clinton once brought a donkey back to life. What do you mean? What do you mean? What do I mean? Like the donkey died. Yes. And Hillary. She was at Wild Animal Park. They have donkeys at Wild Animal Park? Yes, they do, Eddie. like exotic ones. They're not actually called the donkeys, but yeah, like in the donkey family. It's the donkey exhibit. Well, there's not an exhibit. I've never seen that there. She was there one time, and the donkey had AIDS and passed out. AIDS makes you pass out? She breathed life back into death.
I don't believe you. Can Barack say that? I bet Barack can't say that. Definitely not, because you're making it up. I am not, and you can find it on Google. I'm going to Google that. She also hit a bottle from 50 yards away with a slingshot. Wow, that's impressive, actually. Thank you. All on the Internet. That is true. Why does that have to do with her campaign? It's virtuous acts. Eddie? Hitting a bottle with a slingshot? I don't know how virtuous that is. If you do something good for your community, it should be highlighted. She wrote the screenplay for Weekend at Bernie's. That's not true. I know that for a fact that's not true. Yeah, and I think that's a negative against her. This is getting out of control. The first one was good. Oh, okay. Hillary Clinton was one of the percussionists in the funk fusion group war. I don't believe you. That's not true. Yeah, I'd like to see photographic evidence of that. She wrote the hit Lowrider. All right. That doesn't sound like her style. Is my speech slurred? A little bit. A little bit, yeah. No, I was just going to say, if you guys think my speech is slurred, it isn't. Well, no, you pointed it out to us. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. Yeah, wait. Maybe we need to take something for our hearing. Hillary Clinton comes from the mean streets of Philadelphia, in fact.
She was the one who called Philadelphia the city of brotherly love. She was the first one. She was the first one? I don't believe so. I'm going to look that one up, but I'm pretty sure it was like a long time ago that came out. Let me tell you something right now. What? Obama is an elitist. Hillary is not an elitist. In fact, she's flat broke. I had to lend her $20 one day until the next payday. And she said, I'll pay you back because she just lives paycheck to paycheck. You're making that up, though. She has always paid me back every single time, sometimes in psychotropic drugs. That's not going to help. Everything's coming together. Barack Obama never lends money. He owes my sister, like, $100. No, he doesn't. Or you drugs, clearly. Hillary Clinton played Rudy on The Crosby Show. But Crosby's? That's right. I've never seen that. I've never seen that. Am I slurring? You're slurring a bit. Bill Crosby, God rest his soul. Crosby, he's not dead. Is anybody still there? No. Not barely. Get off. Let me tell you something. Oh, no. I'm over it. I'm over you. Let me tell you something. But I'm over you. Let me tell you something Hillary did. And Ashley, you're going to love this. Okay. She invented the word semi-biotic. What word?
What word? Sheila invented the word. Sheila? Sheila invented the word. Yeah, I don't even understand her anymore. Her big brother? She's starting to really fade. Invented what word? Symbiotic. Symbiotic. Symbiotic. She helped Tom Selleck grow his mustache. I have to go. I have to go. Am I over you? That's amazing. Am I slurring? Yes, so bad. I'm just wondering, am I slurring? Somebody better call 911. Oh, my God. Somebody better call 911. 911. Ladies and gentlemen, that's our friend Barbara. She's getting more and more wasted by the minute. Greg Maddox and the bullpen hold the Dodgers scoreless and beat them with a 1-0 victory. In a little bit, I'm going to be giving you some audio of this news anchor at KTLA that spontaneously broke into a rap. While talking about Vanilla Ice's domestic violence charge, which is a little inappropriate, you might say. You know, that may be... Austin Rob went to his fiancée's best friend's birthday party on Saturday. And I understand it was a theme party where you had to dress as someone from Hollywood. A celebrity. Awesome. No, not awesome. Theme parties, I'm out on them. You don't like them? Who did he go as? Who'd you go as, Rob? Slash.
That's good. That's a good one because then nobody else is going to address that. I'll get a picture. I didn't have my camera, but there were pictures taken. The whole reason I went to Slash is because I want to wear a top hat. Gotcha. That's the only thing I could figure out. Where did you go to get a top hat? Men's warehouse, Mike. Hello. My closet. My top hat drawer. What do you think? So, Rob, How did it go over? Did you look like Slash? Oh, yeah. I killed it. I was real good. But randomly, the roommate of the house was going to be Slash, too. And it's a chick. And she walked in. She was late to her own party or whatever, her roommate's party. Got furiously upset that I had her costume on. And I was like, why don't you go change into yours now after everyone's already seen me? Go ahead. Go ahead. That is awful. You won't feel like a jerk. And what was your girl? Audrey Hepburn. Right? No, I'm sure she didn't look pretty at all doing Audrey Hepburn. I think she looked good. Oh, yeah. She looked phenomenal. You got to see Rob's fiance. She looks like a movie star. Gorgeous. She looks like Ashley Judd. What? And then Rob gets upset when dudes stare at her. You don't think she looks like Ashley Judd? I don't think I know who that is. Is that the fat one? I think the fat one is it. Double Jeopardy?
You don't know who Ashley Judd is? Come on, dude. You don't know who Ashley Judd is. Google Ashley Judd. Send me a link. Send me a link, Seth. Seth's like, I'm listening to Jeff and Jericho. Oh, dude, are you kidding me? Look at that second picture on the top. You're telling me that doesn't look like Sarissa? You're out of your gourd. First thing my wife said, she looks just like Ashley Judd. Oh, yeah, she does. Hello? Yeah. Rob knows it, too. He just doesn't want it. Yeah. I mean, the hair is off, you know, but the face itself. Beautiful. Mikey, best news I've heard this morning. No more Bryant Gumbel. Rather hear Ashley call the game. Such a drag. He used to put me to sleep. Love the show. Signed P1PO. I don't know. I didn't know this was a deal, but yesterday I was peeling garlics. And when you take the outer shell off, you know how it has that tiny little... hard part on the bottom. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I didn't want to cut it off, so I was just taking it and breaking it off with my fingernail. Apparently, if you get garlic under your skin or whatever, it's like acid. It's like boiling. No, you're just a vampire. I'm telling you, Skye, it hurts so bad. Yeah, because you're a vampire. That could be it. I'm not kidding. Is it a vampire or a werewolf? Doesn't like garlic. Vampire.
I have a childhood. You've got to remember that. I didn't have a childhood. We just witnessed it. So sometimes it's hard for me. Dude, Mike. Hey, listen. Sky, there was no reason. I'm just saying it backs up the theory. You didn't have a lot of cats. Yeah, there wasn't a lot of cats going on with little baby Mikey. Yeah, when I was a kid. When I was a kid, they're just... My dad had to work a lot. He had a lot of hours. A lot of overtime. You know, he was trying to make ends meet around the place. He had four young boys to support. And so, you know, didn't really have a lot of catch going on as a kid. I did have hours and hours of Rod Serling's night gallery by myself. That's neither here nor there. And I really had no influence on my upbringing. Welcome back. Thanks. We just took a trip down memory lane. It was really beautiful. Let's see. Dude, Mikey just moved here from the Bay Area and freaked out when I heard your voice on the radio. You guys rock. Much love to you all. Mikey, there's nothing wrong with enjoying the movie Enchanted. It just so happens to be one of my favorite movies. Leave Eddie Alone, signed Richard Simmons. Now that... I don't need his help. Guys, we are now going to do an exercise that we call the Mikey Show Questionnaire.
This is crazy. And what we do is we do six people on the show. You will hear a questionnaire from myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, and Boston Rob. Why not Zeth? Because it would take a very long time and not enough people really know Zeth. We don't know Zeth. I don't understand him anyway. If we're being honest, we don't know Zeth. And sure. I would have to say if I was going to spend time with one person, it would definitely mean. Oh, no. We are going to begin the exercise with B-Rob. Ah, the resonator. I love it. You're like Johnny Damon, dude. Ah, don't say that. Wait, what? Now, here's the way that Mikey Show questionnaire works. The way that we do Mikey Show questionnaire is we ask questions of each of us. We have to fill out this questionnaire. And the only rule is that you must answer. By using someone on the show. Now, we've changed it up to make it more interesting. Everybody gets a different question. It's not the same question for everyone. Oh, my God. That's right. So we'll do three. Then we'll go to break. We'll come back. We'll do three more. Cool. So we're going to start with B-Rob. And again, B-Rob just has to answer with one of us. Every time we do this, though, and I get his questionnaire.
he writes like a novel. Like we all, if you look at all of our questionnaires, we have one name written down and that's all. Rob writes like an explanation and sort of what his thinking is there. Isn't that what we do on the air? Well, sure. Why would he have to write all that? That's what the microphones are for, Rob. Oh, all right. So the question for Rob was, if you had to tandem skydive with anyone on the show. That's so weird. Who would you trust to pull the cord for you? Wow. Oh, my goodness. Eddie, what do you think B-Rob said? Who? Process of elimination here. Ashley's out because I don't think you would trust her to remember to pull the cord. I think me, Sean, and Mikey are too heavy to tandem say that. They don't make a shoot big enough. Say Sky. Eddie, you're correct. What the? You are correct. Why Skye, Rob? Because she's like the mother on the show, you know? And I can trust her to... There would be no, like, screwing around. Yeah, there would be no messing around. No, like, what we would do is be like, we're going to pull it. No messing around. I pulled it, nothing happened. Pull finger, maybe it's there. None of that.
Next question for Boston Rob was, Rob, you've been assigned the task of forming a new civilization. Who will you pick to help you form its system of running itself? Ashley, who did Rob answer with? What member of the show did Rob answer with? I would say Eddie, because that's his boy, and I think that he would like the way Eddie chooses to run things. But I think I'd run things the best. Every time. I love it. And I think Rob would prefer that too. I would hope so. I'd say me. Ashley, no, he did not. Don't get mad at him. Don't get mad at him. That's weird. You were the first person that came to mind. But then I saw how...
You can be when people mess things up. I've been working on that, though. Have I not? No, no, no. You have been. But, like, I wouldn't want people to be brought to the gallows for little accidents. Boss and Rob chose Eddie to put the civilization together with. Why Eddie, Rob? We're going to run this place, baby. You know it, Rob. It would be the funnest place on Earth. Like, new civilization. Oh, me and Eddie. Yeah, we'd be out of control. The next question for Boston Rob was, if your life was on the line and you had to answer one trivia question, who would you want as your partner? Wow. Sean, what did Rob say? Holy cow. You know, I really think that Eddie is the best at those things, so I would have to say Eddie. You are correct. Of course. I missed it on purpose. I think we would all do that because Eddie knows a little bit about everything. Yeah, everything. He's so smart. He's so smart. Okay. The next question. I don't disagree. The next questionnaire. The next questionnaire is Shawnee O'Boy. Oh, the biggity boy. And the first question that was posed to Sean was, if you got shot and had to have someone remove the bullet. Oh.
Which one of us would you ask? And I'm going to go to Boston, Rob, and ask you, Rob, who do you think Sean would have removed the bullet? Now, this is similar to sucking the poison out, right, when you get bit by a snake. Would suck the bullet out? Yeah, I think that's how you do it. Is that what you would do, Sean? Would you have the person suck the bullet out? That's really gross. Can we not? All right. Sean would be like, really get in there with your teeth if you can. You almost got it. Really get in there. Don't rush it. Oh, shoot, Sean. I forgot to wash my hands. Oh, yeah. And my teeth. But if Sean got shot and had to have someone remove the bullet, Rob, who would he ask? I want to say you, Mikey. Yeah, that's what I'm going to go with. That is incorrect. Oh. No way. Shawnee would ask Eddie. Shawnee, why Eddie? This was really difficult. Dude, there's so many things going through my head with, like, cleanliness. I'm not really a doctor. Well, yeah, he's a doctor. We didn't even think of that. He's a surgeon. He's a trained surgeon. Not at all. He's a podiatrist, actually. He not only knows Western medicine, but he's very good with Eastern medicine. That's right. Now, you know, I wanted to say, I wanted to say, Sky, but.
I didn't think that she would actually be able to go through with it and actually, like, perform surgery. She'd be grossed out. Yeah. Sky would get too grossed out. She was my first choice for cleanliness. Obviously, you know, B-Rob is right out. I'll just tell you that I got it out and leave it in there. Okay. You know Ashley would purposefully be like, I can't find it yet. I would not. I can't find it. And I think that Mike would be too grossed out as well. I would be. No. I would be grossed out. I think Eddie really is the only one that would have the, you know, nads to go ahead and do it. But, Sean, Eddie allows water stains on his silverware. I understand that. I'd use that very same silverware. Trust me, that went through my mind. However, when you perform surgery, the utensils that you use are already, you know, they're pre-sealed. I'd use that same spoon. Okay. See, Sean? Sorry, Sean. The business end, Sean? There was no good choice, but that was the one I wanted. Thank you. Yes, we all appreciate that. You're welcome. The next question is, if you went mute for a year, who would you trust to communicate for you? That was the question posed to Sean. If you went mute for a year, who would you trust to communicate with you? Skye, what do you think?
Who do you think Sean answered with? What member of the show? Well, we'd all be, I mean, we'd all be jokesters. I mean, like, seriously, we'd all be saying Sean is saying things that he's not even saying, right? So, again, I think this is one of the questions where none of us are a good option. There's no good answer. But I think the most trustworthy out of all of us in regards to this would be Mike, is my thought. Incorrect, Scott. Really? You. Oh, bad move, dude. To communicate. No way. Yes, bad move. Can I take it back? That's crazy. Why Sky, Shawnee? I actually thought Sky, my thought was that everyone would mess with me. There would be no person that would be 100%. However, if it was something critical, I think that guilt would overtake Sky, and she wouldn't be able to mess with me if it was something important. And that's why I chose her. Eddie, if Sean were in a fight, which show member would he want to back him up? Wow. Like a real fight? Yes. Now, just for the P1s that are just tuning in, we're doing the Mikey Show questionnaire. And you've got to understand the dynamic. The six of us that are being asked questions, we're all really close friends. And we've known each other for a long time. I would think it would be between me and Rob. Definitely.
Wow. Wow. I'm going to really try to not take that person. Definitely. A little rude. No, I don't mean it that way. Not Mr. Pillsbury. I'm not insulted. I just, you know. I think love, though. We can go fight some girls. Some girls. Hey, I can knock the heck out of a cheerleader, man. I saw you in that video. That was me in the video. If I was doing a pillow fight, Mikey would be my number one. That's right. Hanky fight. I think that Rob has been in more fights than I have. Or anyone on the planet. Well, that's true. And even though he's little, he's scrappy. So I'm going to say he said Rob. He's crazy, too. Definitely crazy. I'll say Rob. Yeah. You would be correct. I think we would all probably choose that. Definitely. Let's talk about those punks at the funeral home, Sean. Dude, I wish you would have been there. Let's do Ashley. Oh, nice. And this is a way for, well, first of all, P1s love the Mikey Show questionnaire because they like thinking what we'll say. For those of you that are new, it's great because it gives you an idea of who we are, kind of get to know us a little bit. So the next one's Ashley.
Never heard Ashley before. She's very lovable. She's got blonde hair. She's 24 years old. She's got a bubbly little personality. She is your typical Southern California girl. And she came in today very tan, so it looks like she was out in the sun this weekend. She has a wonderful physique. Okay, so the question asked to Ashley, and Sky, I'm going to ask you what you think she said. All right. The question posed to Ashley was, Ashley, your new job is as a bounty hunter. Who will you pick to help you find these fugitives? Come on, Squay. That's easy. See, I would say Rob because, you know, just like what we were talking about before, the fighting and taking the guys down. But then at the same time, you know, if like a Sox game is on, then, you know. See you later. Guess that bad guy's getting away. You know what? That crime wasn't that bad. Call dog, dude. Fourth inning. So I'm kind of leaning towards Eddie.
Because, like, you know, when things need to get done and need to be taken care of, Eddie does it. Like, that's kind of what he does here on the show. That's Sean with his criminal mind. Well, Sean has seen a lot of Matlock and Quincy. Oh, I didn't even think about it. Plus that dog CSI show that he watches on Animal Planet. That's a good one. No, I'm sticking with Eddie. You are incorrect, Sky. No way, Skye. Come on. Ashley would choose B-Rob. Of course I would. To help her find fugitives. Why B-Rob, Ash? Duh. Because when it comes down to that kind of stuff where it's like you really got to get in there and like really do it. Like Rob is the best guy for that. That's what she is. So. You know what I'm saying. Wow. Sean. The question posed to Ashley was. If you had to pick a member of the show to be put in charge of your estate in case of an accident or Britney-style meltdown, who would it be? Shawnee, who do you think that Ashley would select out of the members of the show to be put in charge of her estate in case she had an accident or a Britney-style meltdown? Wow.
Well, there's one person on the show that immediately comes to mind that has a lot of experience with money. You better answer this correctly, Ashley. Esquire. You know, I will say Sky, as a matter of fact. That is incorrect. No way. What? Well, I mean, Ashley said Eddie. Bad idea. This is the first time in the history of Mikey's show questionnaire that somebody's actually got one wrong. That's wrong. I sign over my power to Sky. That's right. So Eddie would come to me and ask me how to run your state. Pretty much. Why did you choose Eddie, Ash? I don't know. I'm being attacked and I don't even know why. You deserve it.
Here's the deal. I apologize. Everybody knows that Skye is like the financier. Yeah, she's definitely smarter in that regard. Why Eddie, though, Ash? Why did you want Eddie to take care of you? I didn't know that Eddie was so frivolous with his money. Well, I'm not at all. I wasn't aware. I thought that Eddie was more middle of the road because, Mike, I know you're like me, and you like to just spend, and that's why, like, your wifey's got you on allowance. Oh, that's unnecessary. I'm just setting an example. I'm making a couple of hits today. Setting an example. All right. But that's how I am, too, and I'll spend my money, you know, and I don't really. Me and my gay little dress will go fight some girls. Spend some allowance. Now, I know Scott is super frugal, and I'm not. quite like that, so I maybe went like a middle of the road, which I thought was Eddie, but evidently... But you know that Eddie's first order of business would be to euthanize that Pugly that you've got. Okay, I didn't know the dog was included. Well, that's part of your state. Well, it's sick. Look at it. Eddie's not sick. Have you seen it? Yeah, and... It's a thousand years old. Boston Rock. Eddie, the dog is not sick. It's just really angry. Something's wrong with it, Mike. There's nothing...
It's just super old. Is that the deal? Boston Rob. Boston Rob. This is the question that was posed to Ashley. You have to try to pick which member of the show you think she answered with. Ashley was asked, Ash, if you could be invisible inside one of the show members' houses, who would it be? What do you think she said? I think she would be most interested in Sean. So I'm going to go Sean. That is correct. I would want her to rub some of the invisible stuff on me, too, so that I can go. I think we all want to be behind us. I think we all want to know what's going on. Nothing to see here. So let's do this. We take a quick timeout. And when we come back, we will get to Eddie, Sky, and myself. See what our questions are. All the questions are different now. We'll be right back. It's Mikey's show.
What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. Of the P1 Army. The Mikey Show. Mikey, I would also pick B-Rob to be my bounty hunting partner because he has a criminal mind and would know where to look. P1, yeah, dude. I agree. That's a good point. Yeah, I think he would know exactly where the people are. He is a criminal. Absolutely. Have you checked the bathroom, Mike?
Mikey, what was that song that you played just before you went on break? That's signed P1 Kai. That is a band called Starfield. And, like, I'm telling you, I have not got this into a band in a long time where it's like I can't stop listening to it. Like, I'm constantly listening to it. I'm listening to it in my car. I get home. First thing I do when I get inside. is turn the speakers on where I have that music piped. Let me hear it again. I don't remember which one. This one. This band right now to me is like on a scale of 1 to 10, like a 30. I cannot talk with this. Like every album. And I never, I had never heard of them before. And now I've bought all four albums on iTunes. Nice. Into melodies. Like I love melodies. Like I love stuff that I can get in my head and sing along to. And I also am really into... I'm really, really into songs that sound like they could be in a movie. I'm a flirt. The one song... Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, we do have it. This song right here, I'm telling you, picture this in a movie. Check this out, how this song builds. Here, they put the words to the movies on the screen. Like, it's coming. It's like a long shot from a helicopter, and then the ocean, and then...
Paul Giamatti's driving with the top down. He's got his hands up like this, like feeling the wind. He's not. He's got his hands off the wheel. You know, he's just like, I'm crazy like this. And then they show Cate Blanchett like hugging him. And there's like big tears in her eyes and she's hugging him. Top shows up. For some weird reason, Carrot Top shows up. And you're like, how did he even get there? That is odd. And then it turns into one of those Leslie Nielsen movements. Weird. It's really strange. Okay, so let's do Sky. Sky's questionnaire. Eddie, Sky was asked, if you were concerned you were gaining too much weight, who would you ask to get an honest answer? This was asked of Sky. Everything's going through your mind, right? Ashley, Rob, you, Sean, I mean. Oh, man. It's a brain flip.
Oh, it really is. Because she's got different relationships with all of us, and they're all very unique. I don't think Rob would play a part of it. It really could be any of the other people. I'm going to say Ashley. That is incorrect. Skye would want Sean to tell her if she's gaining too much. Now, Skye, explain, Skye. Okay, so. Sean is good at giving me tough love if I ask him directly. But he is always so gentle and kind about it. Because Sean and I have this relationship off the air. We're good friends. We can have really good, in-depth, meaningful conversations. And so if I came to him, I think he would probably paint a whole bunch of scenarios for me. And he'd be like, well...
You know, maybe according to society, you have put on a couple pounds. That is true. That is true. But your husband loves you the way you are. So it's really within yourself to find, you know, so he wouldn't hurt my feelings. He wouldn't joke around with me, but he would still kind of let me know what's up. Yeah, I agree with that. I think he would do it just like that. Because as soon as you said that, I go, that sounds like Sean. Yeah. Let's see. Ashley. Yes. Sky was actually still reeling from not being picked for telling you that you've gained the weight. Listen, you're getting a little fat, Sky. Hey, come here, Chevy. No, no, no. Never ever, ever tell anyone that. No matter what. Yeah, off the punt chops. Ever. I would lie. She was the first one who came to my mind, but I was like, no, she's going to lie to me. She's going to tell me I look great. I would because, well, first of all, you do look great. Oh, well, thank you. That's very genuine. Whoa, are you calling her fat? No, that's not. No, not at all. All right, Ashley. Yes. Sky was asked if your husband slash man could not take you to the hospital. My boyfriend? Yeah, my boyfriend. If your husband slash man slash boyfriend. It's about me.
could not take Skye to the hospital when she was going into labor, who would she want to drive her there? Who on the show? Her husband could not do it. Why? First of all, what's he up to? What's his problem? Get him on the phone, man. Divorce papers. Furious. Yeah, he must have gotten, like, in a car accident, right? Yeah, what if he did? Now you feel bad? Why are you giving me to me, man? What a terrible person. Poor Boo. Girl forgets the deodorant one day and you're just like... She just sniffed her underarm. It's bad. It is not bad. Don't say it. It is not bad. I think you sweat roses. What do you think about that? Oh, that's a lot. But I think that's not easy to say. All right, come on, Ash. I don't know, Ash. I would... He'd want someone who's a speedy driver, a.k.a. like I would probably be good for that. Or if she'd want someone to be really careful because it's precious cargo in which I would probably assume Eddie. So I'll go Eddie. That is incorrect. That was tough. I don't know. Skye said that she would have me drive her to the hospital. Eddie's shaking his head like, yeah, I agree. You guys live by each other.
That is true. Yeah, there's a couple reasons. I rent a guest house. Yes, you're in the yard, so in the estate. I'd be doing the gardening. Oh, that's not what I meant. I meant in the guest house. Wow. Okay. Well, you're Mexican, so you're working in the back of time. Yes, I would get you away from the roses for a moment, and I would say Julio or Esteban. I forget your name. Anyway. It doesn't matter. Brownie. But no, we're both in. You know, I pay you, so you do what I'm saying. Well, I mean, technically, you're on the payroll. Yes, you're on the clock. Please. So, yes, we're both in North County, so you would be the closest. Also, you've been through it before. So, like, if I'm freaking out, you could tell me if, like, everything's okay, everything's normal. And then on top of that, you'd also make me laugh if you'd see that I was, like, really freaking out. This is true, yes. So these are all good things I would need. These are all true things. Yeah. Eddie, the question that was asked of Sky was if there was a bomb in the studio. Why's that funny?
Who would you trust? He thought of a fart, I bet. To make the decision on which wire to cut. That's great. Wow. I love this question. I do too. I would want to do it because I'm like that, Mike. What is that? I'm like a leader and I like to take charge like that. Like MacGruber? Like MacGruber. I think... If I'm thinking like Skye, she's going to think that Sean knows something about that bomb, technically, and she will want Sean to cut that wire. Do you guys share a brain now? Well, he's read the internet. It's on there somewhere. It's on there somewhere. He's read the whole thing. It's on there, okay? He's read the internet. Eddie, you're absolutely right. She would have Sean be the one to make the decision. He's probably made one before. So, of course he knows which wire to touch. I mean, if it's just a simple explosive, you know. We got you. Or if it's a plastic. If we're dealing with plastics. Right. It could be plastic. It could be plastic. Sean, you're scaring me. I loved her in X-Men. I don't know that there was a character named Plastique, Eddie. It wasn't? No, I don't. Weird. Next up, Eddie Pontantinio. Oh, yes. Pample Moose. The Paps.
Skye, the question posed to Eddie was, if you were not able to drive your wife to the hospital when she was about to deliver your baby, who would you want to take her? Switcheroo. Switcheroo. What am I doing? How come I can't take her? Yeah. You and Bunny Boo are Harris. Blackjack table. Monster. Gosh. I'm leaning towards me just because I'm like a female so she could talk to me about all the grody stuff that's going on at that moment. Well, and you're soothing. I would try. You're very soothing. And we're close. Why, thank you, Ashley. But see, this is who I think that Eddie's wife would pick. Now, who would Eddie pick for his wife? That's another question. It's not easy. It's not easy. I think it's between myself and Mike, but I'm going to go with me. That is incorrect. Sorry. She would want me. We cannot broadcast that finger gesture. That's rude. Well, you're rude. This is the second time in a row I've been the answer for this question. He would have me take his wife to the hospital. 100%. I mean, you're my best friend. When I give you a task that's really important, like my bachelor party, you take it really seriously.
And if I said, hey, dude, can you go get Debra and take her to the hospital? Yeah. You would be so diligent about it and really take good care of her, and I wouldn't even think twice about it. Thank you. That is true. I would. Yeah. Shawnee, oh, boy. Yes. Eddie was asked. Faxi. Eddie, if you had a terminal disease, who on the show would you tell first? Both. Yeah, rub me like you think, huh? Yeah. I'll tell you what it really makes you think, didn't it? I'll tell you what it really makes you think, didn't it? We're in the room now. Okay. What's going on? I don't know. What's going on? Then something miraculous happens. Johnny, what do you think? Mike, I actually think it would be you. I mean, you guys are best friends. You are correct. Correct. Another easy one. Easy. Well, the first one wasn't easy. Well, yeah, it kind of was. You got the first one wrong. No. Okay. Boston Rob. We all make mistakes, dude. Eddie was asked the following question. If you needed an impromptu haircut. Oh. Weird. Who would you trust to do a good job? Me. He's got to say me. That's incorrect, Rob. That is incorrect.
Yeah, Eddie's got to look at his face like, why would I choose you? Yeah, dude. Let's do it proper. No. What's wrong with you? Come over to my bathroom next time you need a haircut. No, no, no. Give me a nice high and tight. Eddie would trust Skye to give him an impromptu. Bad idea. Now, wait a second. Talk to the booth. Bad idea. Now, wait a second. This is a bad idea. I'm warning you. Driving my wife to the hospital or give me a haircut? I mean, come on. What's more important here? Wow. Really puts things in perspective. Oh, this is bad. You know, Andy, I could probably do pretty good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, I thought about it. I thought about it. But then again, I've seen your haircuts, too. Whoa! Whoa! Well, and Sean would have to have, like, a hazmat suit to cut someone else. And all he does is he just, you know, shorns it. I mean, it's like, yeah. So, you know, and Mike would have no skill at this. I would do Ashley. I thought about Ashley, but she'd want an experiment on my hair. Yeah, she'd be like, just let me try it. At least Skye would go, all right, I'll try and do it. That's true. And it would probably turn out jacked up, but whatever. No good answer on that. Yeah, really. All of you guys are terrible. All right, I'm the final Mikey Show questionnaire deal. All right, let's see. Ashley.
If I had to be handcuffed to a show member for an entire weekend, who would it be? I mean, if you had to pick, I guess you would probably say either Sean or Eddie. I'll go Sean. You are correct. Now, the reason I say Sean is because Sean is very odd in the same ways that I'm odd. Correct. We have... a great degree of the same brokenness in us. And I would have really, I would like, like four hours into it, I'd be telling Sean stuff I've never told anybody. Right, right. And vice versa. He'd be telling me this crazy stuff. You always learn new stuff when you hang out with Sean for a length of time. So I would be fascinated to learn new things. He would be respectful of your personal space, too. Yes, he would. Oh, yeah. Boston Rob.
If I were on a diet, which would never happen. Imagine I was on a diet. Okay. What member of the show would I pick to be my nutritionist and person to hold me accountable to the diet? This is easy. It is? This was easy for me. Really? This was an instant decision. Should have been. Right away I'm thinking Skye. Because you always see her with the carrots and healthy stuff in the morning. So I get to go Skye. Rob, you are correct. Let me tell you something. You're a hurtful person. No, no, no. Wait a second, Ashley. Wait a second. Let me explain. Wait, let me explain, Ashley. Wait, let me explain. I've said this a million times. If I ever became a millionaire. and let's say I was not going to be on the radio anymore, I would pay Sky any amount she wanted to be my personal assistant, and I'll tell you why. She's more organized than anybody I've ever met in my life. She is organized. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And she would not let me mess around. And if you did mess around, I wouldn't, like, kill you for it. I mean, tease you for it, but. I wouldn't want to mess around. Yeah. So I would be on my diet.
And she would make sure I was. And she would research, and she would make sure I was doing all the right stuff. Well, I'm sure she would do it in, like, a very healthy, respectable, responsible way. But if you want to, like, cut weight quick and do it efficiently and look good, and you want to look good in, like, a month, I'm your girl. You got to shake that booty, first of all, Mike. Pop it. That's right. I know how to cook, Mike. Oh. You'd lose weight real fast. I would lose a lot. Yeah, I changed my answer. I changed my answer. She'd make one tuna cake. One month and you'd be like sitting in the 32s like, what up? One nonstick pan tuna cake and I would be... My cooking's good. No, it is not. I don't have to. I don't have to. I've seen your recipes. Oh, my bacon is real good, Eddie. Oh, that's true. Last question. Oh, last one. I was asked, if I was unable to go grocery shopping for myself, who would I want to do it for me? Wow. This was an instant answer. No hesitation. Didn't have to think about it. Bam. Okay, then I know. No question in my mind. No question. No question. Come on, Eddie. Okay. Let me think here. Come on, work it out.
This is easy. Skye would not buy the things that you like because she's weird about food. Yeah. Ashley and Rob, no way. No way. Rob has never been shopping before in his life anyway. No. Just whatever is left over. Right. So it comes down to me and Sean. I'm going to say you say me on this one. You are correct. Of course. And let me tell you. The reason that I would pick Eddie is because of exactly what he explained. Like, he knows me so well. Every single thing you said was exactly it. And that's why, because the guy knows me really, really well. If you've never listened to The Mikey Show before, you probably learned a lot about us. And if you're a P1, people love that exercise. Were you? I love Johnsonville brats. Yeah, my hubby loves those. Yeah, seriously. There's people that blow me away that I go, you know, oh, I'm having some Johnsonville brats this weekend. But don't you eventually cut into it anyway? Yeah, but that's when all the juice comes in. That's the flavor, you goof. That's when you eat it. Ah, you're making me so angry. I don't know. So there is this really kind of scandalous, crazy story out there about Dr. Phil right now. Skye, what happened? Okay, so... You know, it's been a huge news story. We've been talking about it here on the show. This case out of Florida about a group of girls who invited another girl over to the home because she had been talking trash about them on MySpace. They beat her up. They videotaped the whole thing so that they could post it on their MySpace page. Well, it's now in the courts. All these people involved have been arrested as far as the beating and kidnapping. I mean, there's crazy felony charges involved. Well, one of the girls, one of the girls who is accused of attacking and kidnapping and beating. up the other girl her name is Mercedes and her family talked to the press and was talking about how they couldn't afford to bail her out of jail next thing you know a producer from the Dr. Phil show shows up at the jail in Florida bails her out now Dr. after this came out Dr. Phil and his show totally backed away and they basically tried to paint it like this was a rogue producer who took this upon himself to
bail this person out. But I guess this is a pretty low-level producer. And so if you, you know, think about it, you go, well, how could a low-level producer get access to three grand in cash and another $33,000 in collateral without any bigwig from the show signing off on it? So it's kind of another black eye on Dr. Phil a la Britney Spears, you know, with him just kind of yuck. So there's no details on if there was like a deal struck. But one would assume that this girl probably or her family agreed to maybe go on his show in exchange for bailing him out. What do you think, Scott? Well, that's what I kind of think. I mean, currently there's a gag order on the case because it's become such like a media extravaganza. But that would be my thought that the Dr. Phil people said, hey, we'll bail you out. And as soon as the judge lifts the gag order, we get the exclusive. You're on our show that very next second. Jeez. Y'all need to pull your heads out of your butt. Oh, look at this. The Eddie line is ringing. Oh, no. Barbara Gray. Yellow. Here we go. No, it's not Barbara. This is Dr. Phil. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Exclusive. What are you doing, Dr. Phil? Well, I heard you all talking about this thing, and I figured it would probably be a good idea for me to call in and just sort of try to straighten things out. Well, we've got a lot of questions.
Well, first of all, I want to make a few things known. I'd like to take this opportunity to make a statement right here on The Mikey Show. Oh, okay. So I'm just going to let everybody know I never told my producers to get this girl out of prison. I want to repeat that. Okay. I never told my producers to get this girl out of prison. Okay. What I said was I wouldn't mind being locked in a cell with her for about an hour. That's what I actually said. And it's being crude. Taken out of context. Still weird. And that still holds true. I just want to say that. I don't know if that's good, Dr. Phil. The deal is also is that we had to get this young gal out of jail, so I will admit as much. Why? I know I just said that the real deal was that I had said I want to spend an hour in the cell with her. I'm going to come clean, y'all. Okay. Oh, my gosh. We did have to get her out of jail. Why? Well, we've been in cahoots with Michael Vick and his people, and we're going to start up our own girl fighting ring. You're thinking that this should work out. He's kidding, everybody. I wouldn't say that out loud. It's a joke. He's a silly guy. What's that?
I don't know if anybody knows this, but I was the one that was actually holding the camera, filming on this. Don't freak out. Hang on, hang on. You're implicating yourself. You're going to get arrested, too. Just hear me out. You better talk quick, buddy. Well, I don't condone it, but I'm studying cinematography, and any work is good at this point. Okay, well, that's not it. I don't think that that is. I'm Dr. Field. I don't think that's a good enough excuse. Truth is, I know what this poor girl is going through. I once went cheerleader crazy on Oprah. It was a few years back. Little did I know that Stedman videotaped the whole thing. Awkward. Never turned it over to the cops, though. He said he wanted it for entertainment purposes. That's weird that you're doing those finger quotes over the phone. And he wanted it on his MySpace page. Thank you for noticing the quote. I got one of those futuristic video phone things. And my name's Dr. Phil. Okay. Thank you. Sometimes he has a problem hanging the phone up. That was bad. He's looking for the thing to hang up. I'm glad he called in to clear all that up. Totally. We really need that.
Keanu Reeves says that he's still friends with Ted or Bill. Which was he, Bill or Ted? I believe he was. Eddie's about to guess right now. Eddie, if you get this wrong, 950 million phone calls will come in. So you must get this correct. No pressure. No pressure. But was Keanu Reeves Bill or Ted? I believe he was Bill. Boy, I hope that's right. Well, anyway, he still keeps in contact with Ted. Keanu Reeves was Ted. Hang on a second. Ted Logan. Ted Logan, Eddie. I knew that. That was Keanu. So here is Keanu talking to Jimmy Kimmel about how he still hangs out with the actor's name is Alex Winter. Come on. And I guess he's not a big movie star anymore. What are you talking about? Cut 25. When they see you together, do they get...
It freaks them out. Yeah, I would think so. Sometimes it freaks people out. Because they walk by and we're sitting together and they're just like, huh, huh, huh. And then usually they get a smile on their face and then they'll just say, excellent. Yeah. Alex told me a story about there was a Halloween that you guys were together. Yeah. Well, you were there. You should tell this story. Well, no, we were hanging out. We were in New York City and we went out to have some dinner. And then we kind of came out and we realized that it was Halloween. I don't know why we didn't know that, but we did. And why didn't we know that? Did you notice you had nothing but candy for dinner? No, it was just funny because we were walking down the street and then these two guys were like in Smurf uniforms. Because when we realized that everyone was dressed up, we thought, oh no, we're in trouble. And then like no one recognized us until these two guys came up. And they went, oh look, it's two fat guys who want to be Bill and Ted. There you go.
It's not a crime to have not seen that one, right? Because I know sometimes you guys would get on me if I haven't seen movies that are considered... You've never seen... I can't. I can't anymore. So that is one that is not good. What movie is it? I don't even know what you guys are talking about. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Yeah. I've never seen that. I've never seen it. I don't really even know what it is. Look it. Look it. Skye's upset. Sorry. Skye's upset. She's standing up. Eddie, you're off the hook. She's standing up. And I'm off the hook, too. Thank goodness. Bill and Ted's Awesome Adventure? Okay. I'll look into it. Okay, now she's just being a jerk. I don't know. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Excellent Adventure. I mean, you've never even heard of it? I'm shamed. It's like a perfect movie for her. It's like, yeah, I think it was like made for her. Yeah. Yeah, but do you think it would play well in 2008? If she watched it now, it'd probably be kind of lame, don't you think? No. No, it's a classic. Is it like Dumb and Dumber? Timeless. Yeah, it kind of is. It was like the first Dumb and Dumber. Bill and Ted's awesome adventure. Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. It's excellent. I'll look into it. So let's hear these very controversial comments that Barack Obama said. Cut 48. That's interesting.
So it's the anti-gun, anti-religion, or it's the cling-to-guns or cling-to-religion comments that are... And the bitter comment, too, about how they're bitter. So he says this, and what does Hillary say back? Hillary, during a speech that she was giving, talks about his comments and calls them, quote, out of touch, says that they were demeaning and elitist. This next clip is of, I assume, Hillary Clinton. Comparing Obama to a couple of guys, this should be good. Cut 43. Because it did seem so much in line with what often we are charged with. Someone goes to a closed-door fundraiser in San Francisco and makes comments that do seem elitist, out of touch, and frankly patronizing. That has nothing to do with him being a good man or a man of faith.
We had two very good men and men of faith run for president in 2000 and 2004. But large segments of the electorate concluded that they did not really understand or relate to or frankly respect their ways of life. She's talking about Al Gore and John Kerry. She's talking about the vice president of the United States for her husband. Who it's beginning to be more and more apparent that they can't stand each other. Because he won't he won't endorse her. I mean, she was he knew her. He knew her probably very well. He's a vice president of the United States. His president was Bill Clinton. And he won't endorse her years. And she apparently doesn't have any love loss for him either. So here is Obama explaining. The bitter statement. Cut 45. What I was referring to was in no way demeaning a faith that I myself embrace. What I was saying is that when economic hardship hits in these communities, what people have is they've got family, they've got their faith, they've got the traditions that have been passed on to them from generation to generation. Those aren't bad things.
That's what they have left. And unfortunately, what people have become bitter about and oftentimes have told me about as I traveled through not just Pennsylvania, but I was referring to states all across the Midwest, including my home state, is any confidence that the government is listening to them. Barack Obama. When we come back, I'm telling you, I'm going to play you this audio, the KTLA anchor rapping. It's next. It's all gay. Mexico once postponed Cinco de Mayo simply because he had a scheduling conflict. He popularized the sombrero, then purposely unpopularized it. People have parties to commemorate his parties. Bulls flat out refuse to fight him. 200 Mexican folk songs alone have been written about his beard. He can make a mule gallop. During a blackout, he kept Mexico illuminated.

And part of our responsibility as faithful broadcasters in the community. And responsible broadcasters in the community is to identify the radio station as such as KIOZ San Diego. And then what we do is we make sure that as part of the larger Clear Channel initiative to...
Let people know that we are, in fact, partners in the community, as we like to say, KIOZ, San Diego, hit it. And things of this nature. You should hand out pamphlets. And what we do is we'll give out pamphlets. Moist. As people go into shopping malls and things like that. Moist. I'm on the phone. But she's just trying to pick a word that she's thinking maybe we'll get him to do it. You know, we don't know what the word is. I've been trying now for 25 minutes. And so, as KIOZ San Diego, one of our... KIO! KIO! That's right. Well, welcome back. Don't try and bring that back. I just did. I know. No! What are you going to do? Where did Boyaka Shot come from? Boyaka Shot! Wow, does she do... Remember? Why does she do the dance, though, when she says it? Why does she do the dance? Because that's what's up. Because that's what's up. Let me hear the final moments from this weekend's NASCAR race. Cut. 31. And he'll see the white flag. Got the tapes confused. That's the afternoon show at KSON. I don't know how I got those mixed up there, but Jimmy Johnson won the big NASCAR race. Yeah. He's real good. Awesome. Like they just said, it was the first Hendrick car to win this season. Oh, wow. Which is crazy because, you know, they have Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., and they've yet to win. That's bizarre.
It's like the best drivers in the world. Yeah, you would think. I think they'd be all over it. Jeff Gordon's had a terrible year. Really? Yeah. That's strange. I wonder why that just happens. I don't know. I don't know. You're supposed to be real good. Yep. Cate Blanchett had a boy yesterday. Got a baby boy. A baby boy. Baby boy. Is that her first, you think? No, that's her third. Her third? Her third baby. Her babies. She's a baby. She's a baby. In Colorado, some parents got into a fight over which gang their toddler should join. So we'll see you tomorrow, folks. Missy's coming up next, and we'll talk to you later. How does this happen? How old is the child, Skye? Four. Four-year-old. This is a true story, by the way. I promise you that this is not a made-up story. Yes. Go ahead. Okay, so the teenage mother...
Well, it's worse than that, I think. The teenage mother works at Hollywood Video. I see. And she was working when her baby's daddy stormed in and threatened to kill her, then knocked over several displays and a computer because he got word that she was going to have their baby become part of the Crips. And he's mad because he's like, no, no. Our kid is going to be a blood, and we decided that when we were dating. The mother is African-American, and she belongs to the Crips, and the father is Hispanic and belongs to a gang called the West Side Ballers. Oh, yeah. I was in them for like two weeks. I was too, but it was a breakdance group. And so we disbanded because none of us at the time could breakdance. Well, that could be a problem. It's different. So we all went into ballet at the same time. Oh, cute. And I'm the only one that's not gay. So anyway, we'll see you tomorrow, folks. Okay. Missy's up next.
Oh, my God. So that's a strange story. Yeah. And a true story. You and Rebecca ever have something like that happen? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, when we first got married, we had to have that conversation early on. Oh, that's smart. That is very smart. I mean, you do want to have the conversation whether your kid's going to be a baller or a crip. Yeah. Way before you even say, I do. It's important. Because eventually that's going to come up, and then you've got the in-laws take on it and the whole deal. Skye's in-laws are coming into town. Oh, you love it. This is going to be the first time that they've ever come and stayed with us. So the boo's been on like, you know, high alert. He wants everything to be perfect, everything to be right in place, everything to be finished. How long are they saying? They're going to leave on Friday. So they come in today and then they're going to leave on Friday. Do you guys have any plans? Yeah. Yeah, there are plans. Uh-oh. Well, no, no, it's all good. It's going to be fun. No, it's going to be fun. There's alarms going off, Sky. We detected something in your voice. It's good. It's good. What is going on? Well, no, there's plans like the, you know, the wild animal park, some of our favorite restaurants. It's like when you come here, so you've got to go. But there is discussion of a Mexico trip, which I have decided to opt out of. Oh, wow. No, you have not.
Skye, you're not allowed. You are not allowed to opt out. There's no opting out. You're not busy. You don't do anything. You don't have anything going on. Nothing to do. Nowhere at any particular time. I'm not busy. They can wait for you. No, I don't want them to have to wait for me. That would be rude. No, that would be rude. No, no, no. They wouldn't have it any other way. We'd rather wait for you. They wouldn't dream of going without you. It is quite a drive. Smudo. Plus, they're bringing their little dog with them. Oh, my. Across the border? Well, no, no, to our home. Are they going to put cocaine in its rectum and try to sneak it back across the border? Is that what's going on? What the hell? No, they're bringing their dog. Stay mothering. Oh, wow. What did you just say? That was a weird one. It should go for itself.
Hello. Stay mothering. Thank you. It's madre, actually. So I've been kind enough to volunteer to stay home and watch the dog while they all go have lobster and beers and whatever they're... Who's going to translate for them? That's right, Sky. They need you. They need you. Actually, my husband is Hispanic. He doesn't speak Spanish. But his family members do. They need you. Stay mothering. Listen to that. It's beautiful. Beautiful Spanish. Bucket of Coronas. No, they're going to help. That's actually from the new CD, Learn to Speak Spanish in 20 Minutes. And let me play track four here. Let's see. Day mothering. There it is. How do you get away with this kind of stuff? No, I'm very excited. We're going to do a lot of stuff. How do you get away with this kind of stuff? With what? My horrible Spanish? With your lines, basically. When they asked her, she said, Usted es Mudo. Oh, well, that's rude. Usted es Mudo. Whoa. Whoa. No, I've just, you know. You force your husband to do everything. How come he can't make you go on this trip? Whose idea was the trip? Oh. This is crazy. I want answers. What's going on? I want the truth. Well, it might have been mine. I can't handle the truth. She said it was her idea. It was not. I think it might have been mine. It was not your idea. How does that work?
I don't understand. Hey, why don't you guys go buy some hardware in Chula Vista? I'll stay home. I'll stay home. But just not... With me. Yeah. This weekend it's going to be real hot. You guys should go get some upholstery at like a non-air-conditioned place in Imperial Beach, you know? I'll stay here and watch the dog. No, now that I think about it, it was just an idea that I threw out there with many other ideas. And then when it came to the planning stages, I opted out. People sewn a stupid dog. Oh, wow. That's a look into your future, Skye. They're going to have a great time. And I'm excited to see the pictures. That is fantastic, man. Okay. Hopefully my husband will pick up a fountain. Question. Question. Question. Good prices. I'm on mucho. Question. Hey, that's what's up. Mike. Does your husband and the in-laws know yet that you are not going?
The husband and I have had multiple discussions about it. Oh, that's not good. That's not good. Multiple ain't good. Multiple ain't good. No, it's good. It's all friendly. Multiple implies disagreement. No, we're just working it out, Mike. We're working through it. We're working it out. Oh, I have a question. I have a question. I have a question. But the in-laws are not aware yet. Can I ask a question? No wonder they hate you. I have a question. They do not hate me. They love you. I have a question. I have a question. Yeah, the bald dude right there. What was the first discussion like? I think all the discussions have been pretty similar. Tipo son stupid. How come you don't want to go? I am scared. Dude, it's fun, Sky. You love it. I think she's really afraid. I think she's... I think I know what you're afraid of. What? The food. You don't want to be a part of lobster. There's lots of things that... There's a lot of food there. Oh, I know, but she don't know what it is. It's called Mexican food. It isn't certain for her, though. It's called food there. No way, Eddie. She doesn't know for sure. Like, she... It's not like going to Outback where she knows what's on the menu. She can get her side of rice.
I've heard this issue. Yes, I'll take the rice again, please. If you folks don't know. Announcement. Rice is the only thing that filters through my intestines. Just in case you were wondering. They're sensitive. Rice and dairy. Gives me you know what. No, rice doesn't. Oh, right. The rice is safe. Taco shells and milk. What are you talking about? Oh, man. It's all good. You need to go on this. It is not all good. Are you a good wife? Are you a good wife? Are you a good wife? No. Hey, are you a good wife? I can't answer you. I'm a horrible wife. You're a good wife. You're a good wife. You're a good wife. You're a go. You don't need to make that face. It's a Robert De Niro face. I know. It's pretty good, actually. Eddie, that is dead on. That's pretty good, actually. I've never seen that. That's pretty good. That's a good one. Stick that back on the road. Thank you very much. Absolutely. Take a bow. That was fantastic. Very well done. Thank you. Very well done. Thank you, guys. I cannot wait. I cannot wait. Okay.
Yes. Spanish for steak and lobster. Come on. You're the best. This is going to continue off the air. Oh, it is. Oh, Scott, this is going to be talked about in the office. I get up early and it's like a three-hour drive each way. When is it not on the weekend? Where are you going, Canada? No coma. Yes, we're driving to Lima, Peru. So it wouldn't be on a weekend. No, no. They're only here for this week. They're only here until Friday. Oh, well, see, then I can kind of understand. They're not going to get back till late. I don't drink anymore after Eddie's birthday extravaganza. I don't. I don't. I don't. That wasn't a week ago. Dude, I don't.
I haven't had a drink since. She made a promise to the toilet. She said to that toilet that night. Toilet, I promise you, I'll never do this again. You gotta go, though. Yeah, it's so fun. It's so fun. It's an experience. It's hysterical. I've been. You've never been. I've been. Yes, I have. You've not been to Puerto Nuevo. Puerto Vallarta. Put it in the huevo, man. That's where you get the lobsters and all that. How far in is that? It's like two seconds. An hour? Yeah, it's like five minutes. Yeah, because wherever they're going is like two hours in, passive order. And then we leave in Esco. Ensenada? I think that's probably... Are they going to Ensenada? I don't know. It won't ask. His uncle is driving and is, you know, is, like, fluent and knows everything. Sleep in the back. What's up? Sleep in the back of what? The car. The van. Hello? Like, what do you want? I thought they were driving a van with a big Mexican flag on the side of it. I thought that was the deal. Smart. Yeah, and I'm very Anglo. That is true. Oh, what are you going to do? Get kidnapped? That doesn't matter.
Listen, white women are a commodity. No. They're like currency there. Yes, they're like currency. And I'm worth a gold bullion. Hello? They're bought and sold every day. I could be traded for a pack of cigarettes in a burrow. And I'm worth much more than that. That's right. No, I'm excited. Or a rake. Stop. Don't even say what you're about to say. I'm excited for coming. Don't say what you're about to say. We're going to have a lot of other fun things we're going to do all week long. I'm just going to opt out of one event. Nope. One event. Out of the many. You got to go. Out of the many. You got to go. It would be so much fun. Why did we bring this up? My husband is going to. The stories. I'm so sorry, dude. The radio. Dude, the stories. Can you imagine how many stories? How many stories would come from Sky going to Mexico? Like the possibilities are endless. Sky, take a recorder. For real, Sky. Oh, great. You have to go. No. I'll record me and the dog hanging out at the house. You want to go out? Did you go potty? I'll take the langostina. Oh, no. You don't want that. Yeah, you have a nice big glass of the house tap water. A little lemon in it. Delicious. No, thank you. The lemon kills everything. Yeah, it does. No, thank you. They're going to have a blast.
We'll talk about it later. No, I don't want to. It'll definitely be discussed later. This is the end of this conversation. It is so not the end. Get ready, office. So Friday night, they arrested a bunch of teenagers in the southeast part of the county. They were doing a curfew sweep. And what time is a curfew? 10 o'clock, 10 o'clock p.m., unless, here are the exceptions, if you're on your way home from work. Going to Mexico. If you're with a parent or if you have a notarized note from a parent. Notarized? Yeah, what kid is running. You go to a notary public and get a notary public. Is that weird, guys? Yeah. Can you imagine having to go down to the bank with your kid? Yeah. Bobby can be out until 10.30. How awful. Yeah. All right. Let's play this KTLA audio that I've been billboarding since six o'clock in the morning. No one knows what billboarding is. Nice. So it's an anchor on KTLA Los Angeles. They were talking about the vanilla ice domestic abuse story. Cut 10.
Vanilla Ice has been arrested in Florida for domestic battery. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said he was being held without bond on a simple battery charge. His wife reportedly called deputies to say her husband was hitting and kicking her. Oh, you know what? Every time I think about Vanilla Ice, this song kind of pops into my head. Ice, ice, baby. Backup dancers. Plug right and listen. I see back from my brand new invention. Something. Grab ahold of me tightly. Close like a harpoon daily and nightly. Will it ever stop? Yo, I don't know. Turn off the lights. And I'll go to the extreme. I reckon Mike, like a vandal. Let it change. You want to jump like a candle. Thank you, ladies. She's a Florida girl. I'm a Florida girl. I'm shocked and slightly chagrined. I could have kept going, but I figured we were running out of time. That was 1994. All over again. I like how you brought the backup dancers. Thank you, ladies. Do they go with you everywhere? They do. Yeah. Margaret, thank you for your take on domestic abuse. What a segue, huh? Yeah. That was nuts. That was crazy. Appropriate. Inappropriate. That was wholly inappropriate. And she planned that out. That's his best part. With the producers and everybody. Yeah. And they were all for it. Domestic abuse. Why don't you rap?
Yeah. Hey, when we get to the domestic abuse story. Yeah, yeah. He's so great. What are you thinking? Well, I'm thinking, what if we were to, like, you know, put up on the blue screen, we put up a picture of Vanilla Ice, and we start playing the song. For production. And then, you know, Margaret, you like the song. You know the words. Can you sing it? Maybe we just have you rap it or something. I think that's... We'll get some laughs. Yeah, maybe it'd be really funny. So, like, right after you talk about him hitting her, just go right into the rap. Awkwardly. Awkwardly. Nail it. Awkwardly. Yeah, that's a good point. Should be awkward. See, I have a different thought. I'm just going to throw it out there. I don't know if you guys are going to like it, but I was thinking that maybe we put up some websites of people that could help for domestic abuse. And then, and then. Well, no, I just, I don't think the two go. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I think definitely you do that. But then as you put up the websites of where to go to get help, like wrap the websites. Well, have it like transition into the video. Yeah, yeah. That's a great idea. So maybe what we can do is we can have all the different places that you can go to get help. And then you wrap the different places and we'll spin it into a video. Yeah, we can scroll them. We can scroll the websites. We'll scroll the websites. And then suddenly you stand up and the whole time nobody knew it, you were wearing MC Hammer pants. And so you start dancing. And that's the thing. Later in the broadcast, we've got this great homicide story, which I think we should go into. Yeah, we can tie it in.
You can't touch this song. Does anybody know Tupac? Great one. I'm a huge fan. How about we do this thing where we put those little blood packs on you and we'll have Stan pretend to punch you. Oh, wow. And then you'll be like. Hey, you're going somewhere. You know. We rap that song, Mama Said Knock You Out. Yeah, we rap Mama Said Knock You Out and you be mama. You be mama. You be mama. Sounds appropriate. Yeah. Sounds like, well, let's do this, though, when the kids get home. Make sure they're watching. Let's make sure. Holy cow. That is one of the weirder stories we've done. What? What else? The Lakers beat up on the Spurs. Now they're in the lead in the West. Yeah, it's coming down to the wire, Mike. What do we got, Eddie? Well, there's only like a week left in the NBA season. Oh, really? And the Lakers are now in first place in the West. Oh, my gosh. Pretty interesting. A national survey says the majority of people won't be able to buy a home in the next two years, but sales are starting to look up in San Diego. Yeah, it's interesting. You know, I think we were one of the areas kind of first hit by the housing decline. And I think, you know, hopefully, fingers crossed, we're starting to rebound. We talked last week about how sales are up 17 percent from the previous month.
This national study says, yeah, people are scared, and 60% said they would definitely not buy a home in the next two years. Tom Glavin hurt his hammy. Yeah, didn't even get it out. He pitched like four batters, couldn't get anybody out, and walked off the mountain and doubled over. Looks like he's got a hurt hamstring. It's a honey-baked hamstring. Honey-baked? Those are the best guys. Had a mini heat wave over the weekend. Mini? Yeah, broke. Quite a few records, like Escondido, Vista, Alpine. Like, what are we talking? Escondido, 96. Vista, 94. Alpine, 96. They also hit the 90s in Coronado. Paris Hilton was like, that's hot. Yeah, but luckily they say we should cool down about 10 degrees today. It's getting hot in here. So hot. So take off all your clothes. And then it'll get cooler throughout the rest of the week, back to our normal temperatures. Alex Trebek is now doing news and weather for Channel 10, and that was his first broadcast on Saturday nights. One more time, Alex. Getting hot in here. So hot. So take off all your clothes. Good. Sounds like an order. Sipping on gin and juice. So things are going to cool down, you said? Yeah.
I wish they wouldn't, actually. No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. Hang on. Who are you? I don't even know you anymore. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. You scream when it gets hot. You cry? You do. You freak out. You freak out. I don't cry like a little girl. I don't. Like Zach. What are they talking about, Mike? There were tears. I wish you guys were there, Ash and Rob. How dare you people? What? I don't even know what you guys are talking about. You should tell the story. Yeah, maybe for the new listeners who haven't heard it. What happened? Oh, Sean was being so funny. Oh, no. It was San Jose on a record setting here. No, it was not. No, it was not. It was so hot, you guys. It was a normal day. Don't say it was not hot. It was a summer day. It was a normal summer day. It was hot. It was a warm summer day. Hot like this weekend, Mike? Dude, I'm not kidding. Scorching. It was probably hotter. It was probably hotter. No. It was probably hotter. Scorching. I gotcha. And so me and Eddie and Skye and Sean went to lunch at this, like, Thai restaurant or something. Yeah. Yep. And we were in there. Good long while. Long enough for...
Sean's 1962 Bronco to get nice. Orange Bronco. Orange Bronco. I'm not kidding you. 72. Let me tell you what Sean would do. Let me tell you what Sean would do. 82, bro. We would all get into this Bronco, right? And Sean would do this thing. Sean would do this thing where he would act like he was backing out of the space all nice and appropriately. Right, right, right. And then he would like real calmly put his hand on the... gear shift, put it in the first gear, and he would floor it. And he would all go, I'm back. And then he would on the corner and like whip it. And we would all go floor it. We almost died like eight times. Oh, my God. And he would do it all like he was real calm. Right. And all of his culture club tapes. What if I did? His culture club tapes, by the way. But back to Mike. So we go. So we go to this restaurant and we get out. We get out of the restaurant. We all get into the car and it's hot in that. How hot? Dude. Listen, the temperature in the car goes up 40 degrees compared to the outside. I've heard that. That's a fake stat. That is not a fake stat. I've heard that for sure. It had to be air temperature outside at least 95 degrees. No way.
95 degrees, which means in the inside, 105, 115, 25, at least 135 degrees inside the car. Inside the car. It was like the Sahara. That sounds miserable. So, Sean, I'm sitting in the front seat, and Sean thinks that this was so funny. What? Well, because from the second we got in the car, all you hear from Mike is, dude, turn on the AC. Oh, it's so hot, dude. Oh, get the air on. I'm like, please, dude, please. I don't know how you could even breathe in that. And so Sean does the whole thing like, oh, oh, did you say something? And he casually. I beg your pardon. Yes. He casually reaches over to those old dials on the Bronco. The knobs. Yeah, they're like knobs on the Bronco. They're what? They're levers. They're levers. It was levers. And so he slides the lever all the way over to the red for heat. Hot. Turns the car on and turns the fans on full blast. Shut up. And this hot air goes. Oh, my gosh. And I'm hot, too, but it's so hysterical. It was not hysterical. The human torch was, like, really hot at that point.
It felt like I was standing behind an F-16. They turned their jet engines on. I'm just wondering why Eddie and Sky weren't like 10 times worse because in the back it's even hotter. Because it was so funny to watch Mike. It was hilarious. It wasn't that hot. It wasn't that bad. You people are mean. Mike cried. Listen, my reaction was so genuine. I go, Sean! I was really upset. And I go, Sean! And it was real. That's what they were laughing at. Because my reaction was so real. I thought you were going to jump out of the car. It was like hurt and pain. You were like the guy at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Awful experience. I'm sorry, Mike. Okay, I think we got to everything. Oh, Eddie will want to know this. The R2-D2 actor, Kenny Baker, is in the hospital. Why? Oh, no, calm down. Sky, what do you got? What do you know? Well, he's been hospitalized with a chest infection. As you know, he suffers from chronic asthma, Eddie. As we know. Well, Eddie knows. Eddie knows. I mean, nobody else knows. KennyBaker.com? Yeah, Eddie knows. And I guess he was leaving a Star Wars convention in Chicago, heading back home to England, and he had a bit of a flare-up.
You know, he's 73 now, so he's not a young pup. So he was hospitalized. Okay, Eddie. They say he needs to rest. Calm down. But if he just rests and focuses on his recovery, they should be able to fight this infection in his chest. Which one was R2-D2? Jess, that was for a fact. It was for a fact. Obviously. I mean, you're playing with fire. Oh, my gosh. I'm sorry. That was an obvious joke. Right there. Now. For those of you that are fans of Alicia Keys, I'd be interested to know what you would think of this, but Alicia Keys had some crazy things to say. They're pretty crazy. Yeah. Like when Sky said this this morning as we were going over stories, I go, Alicia Keys said that? Dude. Tell everybody what she said. Okay. So she did an interview with Blender Magazine, which is, you know. Wait a minute. Boy Blender has a magazine out. It's all about bear attacks. Okay. And Alicia Keys. I'm in. Where do I subscribe? That is money right there. That is great. Alicia Keys and peanut butter barata. It is really good. Good read. Wow. No blender with an E is the name of the magazine. Seven cards stuck. Yeah. She says she talks about gangster rap and says that basically the whole idea of gangster rap is just a ploy to convince black people to kill each other.
What? Interesting. That's a quote from her. It's a ploy. So, in other words, it was like it was put together by somebody, like somebody hatched a plan. Yeah. Whitey. Wow. Right. And then on the same, you know, subject talking about Tupac and Biggie and their feud and murder and whatever, she says that was fueled by the government and the media to stop another great black leader from existing. Whoa. Whoa. Statement. Those are her feelings. Totally. That's how she feels. Gangster rat. Smart one, that one. Dang, Alicia. Britney Spears got into a car accident Saturday night. Yeah, just a little fender bender. Nobody was hurt or anything, but she was behind the wheel. And when the cops arrived, they did give her a field sobriety test, which she passed. And they said, hey, you know, we do that. It was a Saturday night. You know, that's what we do on Saturday nights if somebody gets a little fender bender. And according to witnesses, she was putting on makeup at the time. She was like looking in her rear view, applying makeup at the time of.
The little fender bender. That's great. Last story for those of you that are fans of the TV show Lost. There's going to be a three hour finale that they string over two nights. Yeah. So let's talk about it. The first hour will air May the 15th. Oh my gosh. And then they will air the second and the third hour on May 29th starting at 9 o'clock. Do the math. Won't end until 11 o'clock at night. But why? Well, when it comes back, it's going to start at 10 anyway. Are you kidding? Don't bring me down, Eddie. Don't bring me down right now. Grey's Anatomy is coming back. That's why. Yuck. No. Why don't they just pick another night? It's a hit. They should. That's the worst. I want to watch it, and I want to talk about it the next day with my friends. Now do you see? I'm going to. You're not going to stay up until 11 o'clock at night. Eddie, we've got to work in the morning.
11 o'clock at night. Best show on television. Why would I not? And then you're going to sleep four hours. I don't care. What are you, crazy? What are you, nuts over here? I don't care. I don't give a rip. I don't give a rip. 5701053. Nuts. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment so you can call in about anything you want. It's open phones. Whatever you want to. 5701053. And we'll talk to you about it. Boston Rob dressed up as Slash over the weekend. Wow, that was awesome. What a visual. Must have been very cool. Yeah. Ash, did you ever end up going to that Jabberwocky show that you were going to be going to this weekend? No. You did not go. Oh, my God. I started crying just thinking about it. Oh, no. It was a really traumatic situation. It was? Yeah. I could have taken you. I was there. You were there. At the Jabberwocky show. But why was it traumatic? You were in it, right? I was dancing. Because we got there late, and then it was so packed. Like, we couldn't even, there was no way. Ashley said the Asian population at Jabbawockeez was, like, she couldn't believe it. She felt like the minority. There was a lot. I felt very out of place. Yeah. Because I'm so white. Yeah, you are, you are. You know? And I was with, like, my whitest friend that I have. Because I actually, most of my friends are, like, Mexican. Yeah. But I was, like, with my one really white friend. And we stuck out, like, sore thumbs. Everybody there was Asian. And it was so packed. Like, we couldn't even get it. Is Jabbawockeez, like, a big Asian hit?
Well, there's one token black guy on the dance crew, but I believe the rest of them are Asian. Oh, really? Yeah. Didn't know. And there's like seven of them, or I believe there might be six now. But they're the ones who won Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew. On MTV. Yeah, and they're so good. They're so good. Yeah, the guy that does my computer stuff, his good friend, is on the Jabba Walkies. That's so cool. And Ash is a big fan of the Jabba Walkies. Huge. She really likes them. P1 Goose. Uh-huh. What's up? Hey, Mike. Well, you see, I was flipping through the radio, you know, about like a year and a half ago, somewhere around there, and I came across your show, and I just loved it ever since then, you know? That's awesome. So I'm a big fan of the show, but in about two weeks, April 29th, I'm moving to Spain. No! What are you going to Spain for? Well, I got offered a job over there. Doing what? I teach in English. I thought you were going to say bullfighter. Some of the best ham is from Spain. That is true, Skye. That is true. Some of the best ham does come from Spain. Really? I would expect a ham aficionado to know that kind of thing. Well, I'm not one. So I don't understand why I shouldn't know that. Because you don't live there. Just a normal girl who likes to enjoy myself some stuff. There you go. Enjoy yourself in Spain. I will. Thank you. We'll miss you guys. We'll miss you. Mikey Show.
Hey, Mikey, P1 San Diego. What's going on? What's up, dude? I just wanted to say, Skye and Mike, check out Honey Baked Ham commercial. My sister did it, a nationwide commercial for Honey Baked Ham, and she was the Easter Bunny. Let Skye see it. Very cool. Very cool. And thank you all for calling in for Ham Talk. That's right. Pavlov's dog over there. All right. Mikey Show. Yeah, I'd just like to say that to catch lost, what you can do is... go to bed at 7 o'clock or whenever, wake up at 10 o'clock, watch it, go back to bed, and catch the show that way. That seems like an awful lot of work. I don't wreak havoc on my system. Well, yeah, I mean, plus you're waking up, you're having to do a lot of things. The last thing that we want to do is wreak havoc. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hey, this is P1 Alex. What's up, Alex? Hey, what's going on? I just wanted to tell you guys about those cops that were really chasing down these kids last night. That's right. We were talking about that. It was the curfew deal, right? That was on Friday. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, and I felt really bad about it because I had no idea what was going on, right? Uh-huh. So I go, I'm in my garage, I'm in my girlfriend's garage, and I'm with her two younger brothers and I'm watching a movie, and I hear a noise. Wait, wait, wait. I'm sorry. Uh-huh. You were watching a movie in the garage? Yes. Okay, yeah. All right. So we're in the garage watching a movie, and I hear a noise outside, right? So I look.
through the garage window and I see these two young guys standing near the cars, like up on the garage. So I go, oh my God, there's these guys outside. So now I'm about 250 and six foot. So I open up the garage door. Me too. So I open up the garage door and I run out so fast. I mean, I run up on these guys real, real fast. And I'm like, what do you guys want? What are you guys doing? What are you guys doing? And they just... stood there and they're just like um dude we're just um here uh or you know the cops are after us and i felt so bad because you can just see the fear in these kids and that's like and i looked around and then up the street this cop comes up and i'm like all right you guys need to go you guys need to go right now and then another buddy of theirs came up and i'm like man these poor guys i felt so bad for them because you know they were so I had to pull the plug. I'm sorry. I had to. Listen, and I know that. But I really believed him and wanted to know what he was going to say next. I know. I'm not doing that to be mean. I promise you. It's just that, you know, it's tough. I have a feeling that the audience probably needed it. Last call, Adam. Bring us home. Hey, Max. Mikey, I just want to tell you, man, the best part of the show in the past month is when you and Ashley get broccoli for the alternative fuel, and then you guys are talking about her.
Her sweatshirt, her boyfriend's man. Ashley took a guess this morning. Hey, anybody could have done it. What is ethanol made of? Ashley thought it was broccoli. She went with her gut. Thank you for the call. Lovely and talented. I love broccoli. Missy's up next, folks. Today on the show, on the nooner, she'll do some double shots for you. It'll be real good, real nice, real sweet. And we'll see you tomorrow morning. 5.30. I'm great. Love your mouth.
