Host Mikey led a lively episode featuring co‑hosts Eddie, Skye, Sean and Ashley, with frequent guest Boston Rob. The show opened with Rob’s shocking goatee removal, sparking Skye’s hood‑wearing discomfort and Eddie’s disbelief, then segued into discussions of a fatal bear attack in Big Bear, mysterious UFO‑like lights over Phoenix, and a controversial People Magazine video of a cheerleader beating. Later segments covered Ashley’s new camcorder, pop‑culture cameos from Christopher Knight and Star Jones, and a record‑setting disapproval rating for President Bush, punctuated by listener calls about everything from time‑travel fantasies to the Eddie B. Rob bocce‑ball challenge.

Rob's Goatee Shock
Boston Rob shows up clean‑shaven after cutting off his long goatee, causing Skye to put on a hood and Eddie to stare in disbelief.
Skye's Hood Reaction
The crew debates how long Skye will need to adjust to Rob's new look, suggesting she might need a picture of him with the goatee to cope.
Big Bear Bear Attack
Eddie recounts a fatal bear attack at a training facility in Big Bear where a grizzly killed an animal trainer after being pepper‑sprayed and returned to its cage.
Bush Disapproval Record
The crew notes that President George W. Bush's disapproval rating has hit 69%, breaking the previous record held by President Truman during the Korean War.
Phoenix UFO Lights
Mikey describes seeing strange white lights over Phoenix that moved fast, stopped, split into two lights and spun, sparking speculation about military flares or extraterrestrial activity.
Cheerleader Beat‑Up Video
The show discusses a People Magazine article and video of girls beating a classmate after she posted negative MySpace comments, debating whether the life‑in‑prison sentence is too harsh.

won the Pennsylvania primary last night by 10 points. The Miami Dolphins are officially off the clock. They signed their first-round draft pick, Michigan tackle Jake Long. Look at that. I'll tell you, I knew so little about the draft, I was telling you, I didn't know anything, and I'm like, oh, look at that. Howie Long's son is going to be drafted this year. No, no, no, not that one, but Chris Long. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Chris Long. Yes. I didn't even know that... You know, I think I had heard at some point that Howie Long had a kid played football. And then I go, I was, you know, reading. And I go, look at that. He's got a son that's going to be drafted this year. Oh, yeah. Real good. Big time. Yeah. So I'm looking forward to Saturday. I think I need to write my wife an email or have a conversation with her because we haven't even talked about Saturday. Uh-oh. And it being the draft. You know, there's.
There's nothing really to say. Have you checked the calendar? No, but I don't. There may be some on the calendar already. I don't know. That's why you keep the calendar. I don't think there is. Just saying. You guys have been real busy lately. Oh, stop it. 570-1053 is the number. Give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Hillary Clinton won by 10 points last night, and I guess we figured that would happen, right? I am ready to rumble. Oh, no. That's what all the polls were showing. So she did. I mean, she beat Barack Obama, and I don't know if it's going to matter. I still think he's going to get the nomination. I hope so. You can call me Hillrod. I don't want to. Stop with those. I don't think we want to call you Hillrod. No. You know what I found out yesterday? It's easy. It's easy. My brother, last weekend, became part of the Hillary Clinton campaign and went and campaigned for her door-to-door. Are you serious? Both her and my, or him and my sister are, like, huge Hillary fans, evidently. Have you asked him why Hillary over Barack? No. Like, I haven't, I had no idea until my dad told me last night. Really? Yeah. That he's campaigning for Hillary. I would love to hear their take, you know? Oh, I'd love to hear my brother's take on, because he's so smart and, like,
I would love to hear why he's campaigning for Hillary. Sure. You're smart. It'd be great. Sure. Gotta ask him. Yeah, my brother's super smart, and he likes Barack. Yeah. And so I'm sure they could have a debate. You're smart. Let's see. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 35 years old. He enjoys video games. Oh, boy. He's good at them. He has finished entire games. Yeah, a lot of them. Are you doing any one right now? Yeah. That's bad. Well, I'm obsessed. I think my wife's fed up. I think Debra's done. She's over it? Well, you know, because my system is on the main TV. Yeah. And, you know, what's she going to do? So your video game play is not as fun to her as it used to be? I guess not. It's lost. It's lost her. Yeah, the shine is off. I'm playing MLB The Show, usually baseball. It's such a great game. Oh, my gosh, it's a great game. And I'm playing as the Padres a full season, so I got 162 games that I'm going to play. Are you kidding me? You are not bad. Well, I got to play the full season, obviously. You have to. Oh, my. Who has the time? Oh, I find the time.
I mean, the Padres do it because that's their job. That's their career. It's kind of like my job. No, it's not. Eddie's like, yeah, hey, it's work. It is. It's tough. You do get tired. Yeah. You just got to go out there and pitch as hard as you can. Right. How are you doing, by the way? Not good. The Padres are a lot like... We're not imitating life. It really is. The Padres in the game are a lot like the Padres in real life. They are great pitching. Their pitching is awesome. Right. But they have no offense. So unless I win, like, 2-0, I usually lose. So I'm still, I've only played, I think, like, 13 games so far in the season. So I'm not quite caught up yet with whether they are in the real season. Yeah. I'm getting there, though, Mike. That's awesome. I'll probably be there by Saturday. There you go. Skye is our news girl. She is 30 years of age, and she is what they call an attractive white woman. Whoa. Well, thank you. Yeah. And she is married to an attractive Mexican man, and she hails from the San Jose Bay Area, which she enjoyed growing up. I don't know why. Loved it. We all grew up there, too. It's great. It's a great place. Oh, boy. San Francisco. Yeah, dude. Yeah, whatever.
Pure 31? I don't remember that one. Well said. 31, I think it's a cargo dock, but it's their own. Shawnee O'Boy. Hey, can you get Shawnee O'Boy up on here? Don't. Don't. Don't. Seriously. Shawnee O'Boy hates baby talk. I don't like it. I hear it every day. It's a terrible way to start today. Calm down. Sean is 38 years of age. He's the oldest member of the show. And he's a good man. And he does sound effects. And Shawnee. Ashley is 24 years of age. She's got blonde hair. I think she's got kind of a retro look today. Really? Yeah, a little bit of a retro look. Sweet. That's right. She's sweating a lot. I know. She's been fanning herself all morning. I'm not kidding.
When I was writing my blog, like, sweat was dripping all the way down to my wrist. Oh, that's not normal. That is friggin' disgusting. Ash, what is it? What is it? What is it? I have a sweat problem. She really does. She's got a sweat issue. That's more than a problem. Her body produces a lot of sweat. I'm sorry. Yeah, she is a sweet girl. It's like she's got a hydrant in a headlock. Your dad's still in town, right? Yes. How long will he be here? He leaves tonight. Aw. Yeah. Are you bummed? For sure. How long has he been here? Since Monday. You're going to miss him. Yeah, I will, but he comes down to visit probably once a month or once every couple months. Yeah. I see him frequently. Boston Rob is 25. He is our phone screener. And Rob, why don't you come in here? I never get to do a thing where I want to see you. I just want you to be right here in front of me. Should be right here in front of me. Let's have you sit here in the room. Look at this guy. How are you doing, Rob? How are you, buddy? Hi, Shortcake. I'm doing real good. Hey, Rob. It's nice to see you. It's good to see you. Let's talk about it. Talk about what? Talk about what? What do you want to talk about? Why don't you come in here, Ash? Why don't you come in here?
Ash, why don't you come in here? What do we want to talk about? Who is he? It's nice to be in here. Get this guy out of here. I don't know that guy. I don't like this guy. Let me explain to the P1s. I don't know him and I don't like him. It's good to be in here. Let me explain to the P1s. I like being in here. Ash. Okay, Ron Burgundy. Let me explain. Let me explain to the few ones. Eddie is waving his finger. No, no, no. No, no, no. Eddie is waving his finger. No, no, no. As much as Eddie doesn't like it and says he might go home, I think Sky might be wrestling with it even more because she hates change. She does not like change. I'm not. Rob? I'm not. We have known Rob for years. I don't. What happened? We have never seen him like this. I cannot. He has shaved off the bottom portion of his goatee. He actually has a dimple on his chin. I had no idea. Who knew? He said he didn't either. I didn't know either. He forgot. It's news to me. You stay classy, San Diego.
We'll take a picture. We'll take a picture and we'll put it on the website so that you can see the new Rob. We should take a picture of Eddie, too. Oh, I know it. I know it. Listen, I only wish we'd had a video camera in here. Get him out of here. Get him out. I'm very nervous. I'm uncomfortable. I don't like this. Get him out. Let me tell you guys. Let me explain. Let me explain. Steve, Mike, I'm freaking out. I, you know, Rob is doing. a growth group at my house. And so he came over last night and my jaw dropped open. Okay. My jaw dropped open. Sure. And then I said, I said, Rob, you need to prepare yourself for Eddie. I said, start the preparation right now. And he goes, yeah, no, I know. I go, cause he, I said, I don't know how he's going to take this change. Look at Eddie's face. Because right now Rob is clean shaven and you can see his chin. Why? But he's got a mustache. But I don't want to see it. And then as the night went on, I thought about it and I said, you know, Rob, I said, I think maybe Sky will be a bigger issue. I can't.
Because Skye cannot deal with change. You know what it does with Skye? It makes her uncomfortable. Things don't seem right in the world. It'll probably be a week before I can look him in. At least. At least. I can't look over there. I don't think this is Rob. It doesn't look like him. Dude, last night I'm looking at him and I was like, wow. He looks handsome. I said every change he makes, I think he looks more handsome. But it's different. It's like a different human being. His face looks weird. Long goatee. How many inches was that goatee? About three inches. He was like Jimmy Oswald Neidhart. Yeah. It was a long goatee. It's gone. All he has is a mustache. How many years? Five and a half years. Oh, my. That's crazy. That is crazy. How does that make you feel? That is crazy. It is. Nothing's for certain in this world. Nearly. What happened? Why did this happen? It's so different. Why? It's so different. I need to know why. Sean, you want to kiss it? Turn on the lights. And I think that I have the camera in the bag. I can't. Sean, do you see that? Look at that. He's a shark. Are you seeing this, Sean? I'm sorry, Sky. It looks weird. Oh, yeah. It looks like a different person. Doesn't it look like a butt, Sean? Look. Yeah, he goes, I didn't know I had a butt chin.
Get out. Look at it. Yeah. Rob. So, Rob. Put your face close to the camera, too. Rob, was this a plan? Was this a plan that you had? Not at all. Really? No. So, what happened? You just decided? Got out of the gym. Lookit, they're both shaking their heads. Eddie and Sky are both shaking their heads right now. Like, no, this can't happen. This is not allowed. This cannot be. Everybody's freaking out. Skye's putting her hood on. Skye's putting her hood on. She's got a hooded sweatshirt on. She's putting it on. She cannot know. She's pulling the strings. I say, how dare you, sir? Yes, thank you. Thank you. What if I walked in here all willy-nilly and had no goatee? Right. Yeah. What if I just shaved my head one day? I'd come in here with a third arm. Yeah. If Skye came in here with a mohawk one day, it'd be pretty much equivalent. So, Rob, you didn't have a plan. You just went home, and what did you do? You took a pair of scissors first to get it trimmed down, or how'd you do it? No, I was about to jump in the shower, and I figured I'd clean up the neck a little bit. Sitting there staring at it. Skye will not look at you. Eddie's been looking at you the whole time. Skye won't look at you. Skye will not look. Because it makes her uncomfortable. It does. Everything's different. It does. Because if I look, I will have to, like, stare. And that's rude. And that's rude. So I'll just not look.
And Sean's got this look on his face like, what? It's almost like he's staring at an alien creature, you know? Trying to figure it out. He really wants to, like, you know, study it. That was me last night. I had to stare at my chin for about 15 minutes. Yeah. This is not. I'm still not used to it. Yeah. And he was saying last night, he's like, it's really cold. It's cold. My chin is lonely. Dude. It will grow back. Talk to me about your fiancé. Seeing it. Yes. Yes. She wasn't really using it. She was doing the same thing Eddie and Skye would do. So you didn't consult her on this? Uh-uh. Can you imagine? Dude, what would happen, Skye, if you went home today and Mr. Skye shaved his goatee? How long has he had it? Oh, gosh. Probably about eight years now. What would you do? I'd be like, we're not even going to talk about it? Yeah. I mean, I'm working there this Sunday, so maybe I'll talk to him and just say it's freeing. You got to give it a shot. No, you leave him alone. You got to do it when you're alone, though. No. So what did your fiance, did you tell her, like, be prepared? Hey, babe, want you to know? No. I shaved. No. You just walked in. No pre-warning. I called her right before I got there, and I said, I got a surprise for you. It's on my face.
So she knew. What did she say? Tattoo. She kind of did. So what did she, why? What was her guess? But my whole thing with running it by her was she has begged me and pleaded and her family and everyone I know that knows her has asked me to shave it. Really? It's been a huge deal. It was this big, long thing. Yeah, and I always said, no way. Not a chance I'm doing it. So I figured, why even run it by her if she's asked me to do it so many times? So what did she think? She said it looked good, but you've got to get used to it. I said, great. So you want me to go back and tape it on? Like, awesome. Damn it! Oh, that's awesome. I think that the real reason that he shaved it is because it was blocking the Boston tattoo on his neck. It was not giving proper coverage. of the Boston tattoo. Now you can see it properly. It's a trip, man. I haven't done this since I was... Four. I don't feel well, Mike. I know. Rob, you better go back to your studio. I think this is really upsetting. I think it's really upsetting. Rub it for good luck, Eddie. It's upsetting. It's upsetting. Please. 5701053 is our phone number. 35253 is our text number. Feel free to text us. Eddie is looking at him walking out right now like, who does he think he is?
It ruined my day. It is so different. Sky's got to adjust. It's going to be a while for Sky to adjust to that. 570-1053 is the number. And the text, 35. He doesn't even talk to his friends. 253. It takes brass balls. P1 Anti-Psycho is on the line. What's up, Anti-Psycho? Hello. He must have had a go. A P1 is somebody that listens exclusively to the Mikey show. I told you, Rob. I told you. All right. All right. When you told me, I expected something.
This is out of control. You are out of control. Eddie will adjust, I believe. I believe Eddie will make a quick adjustment. No, Eddie's not going to. And the second we got off the air... Sky is going to take... It's going to take you a while. You might need to get her a card and explain and apologize. Exactly. That was an overreaction. I would recommend giving her a picture of you with the goatee. Yeah, yeah. Maybe even paste that to the window so that when she turns and looks, you're still there. That would be awesome. Oh, man. Did you take a picture, Seth? Oh, dude, I forgot it. 5701053 is the number. And 35253 is the text. I can't start my day like this. Meanwhile, while all this has been going on, Ashley has been fanning herself because she's sweating. We put the fun back in dysfunction. Mikey Show, hello. It's very easy. If you're not in the text thing already, just text the word Mikey to 35253.
2-5-3. You got it. 3-5-2-5-3. That's 3-5-2-5-3. 3-5-2-5-3. 3-5-2-5-3. 3-5-2-5-3. Now you'll remember. You got it. Yeah, you text the word Mikey to 3-5-2-5-3, and then it'll say, are you sure you want to do this? And then really think about it, man. Really toss it around. It's a gamble. Yeah, like Rob should have done with his goatee. Oh. Wow. Just saying. Oh, my God. Oh, my gosh. Is it because Brock wants change? Is that it, Rob? Yes, that is it. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, good morning, gang. Hello. Hey, I wanted to say you guys can write a children's book like that My Beautiful Mommy book. Exactly, how to accept the new Rob. Because I don't know how to. Patent pending. There needs to be a children's book that you open up the page and it first shows the old Rob. Oh, so good. And it says, this is old Rob. And you turn the page and then it's Rob thinking with his goatee. And it says, this is Rob thinking. You turn the page and it's Rob still with a goatee holding up a razor. Oh, I don't. This is a scary book. No, I don't. Put down the razor. Don't do it. Don't do it.
Mikey Show. Hey, B-Rob. It's Mikey, bro. I'm sorry to disappoint you. It's me. Yes, it's Mikey. Go ahead, dude. You're on the air. Oh, yeah. It's P1 Oklahoma. How's it going? It's good, man. What's up? I was wondering something. What's your take on the walk-around missionaries that go through, like, the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints and stuff? The Mormons? Yeah. What is my opinion? Yeah. I don't know. I don't really have an opinion. They seem like nice guys. I noticed this one thing when I was really little. If I said hi, they would say hello. And if I said hello, they would say hi. Yeah, and that was like always my thing on Mormons. I would go hello, and they would go hi. Or I would go hi, and they'd go hello. It was always the opposite one of what I said. That's crazy. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I know what you mean. Yeah, you know what I mean. But I think that they're nice people. They seem really super good-hearted. They are. They're cool. Yeah. All right, that's all I want to know. Sweet. All right, bye. Late.
Something's going on there. What is going on? What did I miss? Hang on. What am I missing? He wanted more than what you gave him. Yes. But then he chickened out on his own thoughts when you didn't go the direction he wanted you to go. In total honesty, what do you guys think? What was he looking for? He was looking for, I think, you two. Give like a real deep opinion on the Mormon religion. Yeah. Like all this stuff. Like it just seemed really. Yeah. I don't have that. He was fishing. I don't really have. He threw his line out there. Not so much. Oh, man. So he just, he went downstream. He's calling DSC. See what they think of Mormons. Getting some texts in. Yo, B-Rob, I just shaved my beard this weekend too. Mornings seem a lot colder now, don't they? Oh, it's freezing. I don't like it. This one says, Boston Rob just jinxed the Red Sox season. Oh, my gosh. P1 SSD. I didn't even think of that. I don't think Rob did either until this moment. Eddie's got a look on his face like, I didn't think of that, but it's true. Didn't they win the series when he had the goal? Oh, that's true. Stop. Hey, remember when you guys said that last year about me shaving my dreads and then what happened? Maybe that's it, Rob. Maybe that's the ticket to the World Series. You got to keep shaving. That's right. You keep naming that, Rob.
Let's see. Mikey, I think it's messed up that we have to consult with our wives about stuff like this, but they can just come home with some crazy new hair, and that's okay. No, they can't. That's not true. No, they cannot. That's not true. We learned that one. Skye will not do that, and Ashley will not do that to her husband either. They will each not do that. Okay. She liked the sound of it. There's no doubt about it. It really did sound good. That's not even what I was saying. I was just saying with Skye. I remember how great her hair looked, but her husband made her change it back because he didn't like it. Went red? Yeah. I thought it was hot. He freaked out. I had to apologize and promise never to do it again. That's right. Mikey Show, hello. Hello? So let's listen to some of this last night. Hillary Clinton won the primary. They're still shaking their heads, guys. I can't. Eddie and Sky are still focused on the fact that Boston Rob looks so... He does look different. He's got a Brady chin? Like, what the hell? Yeah, it's like a Tom Brady-esque dimple. Yeah. Where did that come from? Yeah. Did he have plastic surgery? Maybe. Here's Hillary Clinton after her win last night. Cut to... Pennsylvania Avenue, and it runs. Senator Obama and I have crisscrossed this state.
Meeting people up close, being judged side by side, making our best case. You listened, and today you chose. The Eddie line. Oh. Hi, guys. What the heck? Hello? Who is this? It's Barbara. What? Barbara, what's the matter? Oh, wow. She sounds... We've been partying all night here, and go Hillary, okay? Barbara, this really, I mean, it doesn't mean everything. It doesn't mean she gets the nomination. She just won Pennsylvania. Oh, my goodness. I think I just passed gas. Okay, Barbara, you are clearly not okay. Let me tell you something. We're going to take this one all the way to the White House. Okay. Take it easy, lady. I know you love Hillary, but jeez. Yeah, that's right. Hey, tell Boston and Rob that I have a support for him. What does that mean? I have support for his chin. Like a chin strap? And his pretty dimple. And I say, way to go, butt face. Whoa, hey.
Thank you, Barbara. You're very welcome. And I told you guys she would win the presidency, and now she's in there. She didn't win the presidency. The primary. That's right. She just won a state. Hang on a second. That's weak, Barbara. You need to go to bed. You need to go to bed. She feels a bit better now, actually. I actually feel a lot better, guys. Wow. I'm sitting there, and I feel a lot better. Anyway, I'm real glad about Hillary's win last night. I was thinking back in the bloodstream here. Good luck. Go lay down. Let's go. Hillary in 08. Go lay down. Thanks, guys. Bye. Okay. Wow. She sounded excited about that. That was bad. That was Barbara. Wow. Somebody help her. So here is Barack speaking after the news. Cut three. I want to thank all of you who are here tonight. But I want to start tonight by congratulating Senator Clinton. on her victory this evening. And I want to thank, I want to thank, no, no, she ran a terrific race. And I want to thank the hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians who stood with our campaign today. So there it is. I don't even know what's next. I don't know what primaries are next or if we're done for a while or what's going on.
May 3rd, Guam is the next one. I wonder if I can vote in that primary. I was born there. Yeah, and then we still have a handful after that. Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Montana, and South Dakota. How about that? Puerto Rico gets the vote? Don't ask me, dude. I just read the Tribune. A bear killed an animal trainer in... I couldn't make this up. There's some irony here, but I can't make this up. A bear killed an animal trainer in Big Bear. What do you want from me? That's where it happened. That's where it happened. Peanut butter involved? No, it was not Boy Blunder and his bear attack that happens. Are you sure? Thank goodness. Sergeant Phelps from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department, cut 36. A little bit after 3 o'clock, our dispatch center received a phone call from fire dispatch stating that they responded to a bear attack. When deputies arrived and fire personnel, we determined it was a fatal attack. What we have been told is three experienced trainers were working with this 5-year-old grizzly outside in a secured area.
After the attack, one of the trainers pepper sprayed the bear and was able to get it back into a holding kennel or a cage. A fishing game was called, and they are on scene from what I've been told, and they are assessing everything right now. The bear was subdued and unharmed and placed back into his cage. Yeah, so this was a training facility where they train bears to be used for, or train exotic animals to be used for photo shoots and movies, and this specific bear was actually in the Will Ferrell. feral movie semi-pro where he wrestles a bear to like promote his basketball team or whatever dude yeah this bear was used and uh this bear bit the dude on the neck and that's why he died wow yeah and if you go to their website their website describes themselves as having quote a perfect safety record with absolutely no accidents or mishaps well they may have to edit that yeah a little I mean, these are wild animals. I know that they've been tamed, but they still have it. Talk about it, Mike. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it happens in the water, too. Okay, wait a second, Eddie. Wait a minute. The record's a lot better with those blacks. Oh, really? Wait a second. Really? How many attacks have there been there? Mike, you know what? It's a conspiracy. Those people at SeaWorld are keeping it quiet for the most part. But when we do see it, it happens a lot. Eddie.
Yeah. It happens a lot. Listen, Eddie has a fear of orcas. Killer whales. He doesn't care for them. Texas at 35253. Don't forget, tomorrow morning, 7 o'clock, Eddie B. Rob Challenge right here at the radio station. Everybody's welcome to come down and watch. They're going to be playing bocce ball and horseshoes. Home number is 5701053. Today on the show, going to be doing a little lyrical gang stuff. I'll think of a random debate at some point. Got a great email. It's a great email about people that sing in the car. So we'll get to that in just a little bit. Some killer audio today. And all your phone calls. 570-1053. Pablo Francisco in the Stand-Up Spotlight. Show Stand-Up Spotlight on Rock 105.3. Psychos. Any psycho women here tonight? Psychos? Psycho?
I think it's usually after you have sex with them. That's when they go, you know, before sex. It's okay. Go out with your friends. It's okay. Trap you in the... They'll be at a party. They'll get you at the party. Who is she? Come here. Oh, she's my mom. What the hell? She's my mom. My friend who agrees with me. She'll show up. Here I am. You sound like you're a whining little kid. This is The Mikey Show. On The Rock. Concert information from Rock 105.3. It's The Rock. I think the Padres are very happy to be coming home because didn't play so well in Arizona, didn't play so well in Houston. They lost again last night. Bullpen. You know, the bullpen is supposed to be our strength. I don't know what's going on. But thank goodness they are back. Padres, tonight, back in Petco Park, we are actually going to be going, me and Sky and a few other people on the show are going to be going to the game tonight to see them play.
The Giants. Come on. We'll see them beat the Giants, really. Oh, no. Yeah, they will beat the Giants. They will be playing the Giants. And it's kind of perfect medicine right now for a Padre team that's struggling, have an even worse team come in. Like the Giants. No, barely, barely worse. A quick two-game set with them. And then we welcome the Arizona Diamondbacks this weekend. Crazy series with the D-backs. On Friday night, you got Mexico opening night with Mexican-themed entertainment throughout the ballpark, including... Mariachis, which will be fun. And family, they're going to have fireworks after the game, all kinds of good stuff. Saturday, they got a special Saturday afternoon game. Padres seat cushion is going to be given out to all fans, which are pretty cool. And then Sunday is always a kid's giveaway day, and that's going to be Chris Young growth posters for kids, which we all know how giant Chris Young is. Outside the radio station, everybody's invited to come down here and watch their challenge. They're going to be doing bocce ball and horseshoes outside the station. I'm going to be so distracted with that chin. Maybe that was a strategy. Yeah, I would think so. It worked. Rob was in here during the commercial break, and Sky would not look at him. It's going to take a while, Mike. Chin right in her face, too. Looks like Billy Bob Thornton. It really is different. keeps naming different things that it looks like. Look at his face. I don't want to. Eddie, what's going on with the San Diego Padres? I don't know, man. Their bullpen, I mean, that's their strength, you know, and for some reason just not clicking, and they gave up four runs in the eighth inning after they came back to tie it, and they lost to Houston 11-7 last night. Heath Bell, man, who usually lights out, he gave up the runs. It's weird. And then the Seahawks released Sean Alexander. How about that? They released him. You know, the writing was kind of on the wall when they signed Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett in the offseason. But I kind of still thought they were going to keep him around. But no, they cut him. He's gone. He was the 2005 NFL MVP. Wow.
He's been through a lot of injuries the past couple seasons and really has lost a step, but still productive back. Yeah. Kind of surprised. Do you think he'll get a starting job somewhere? Yeah, I would think so. There's definitely teams out there that, you know, will try and sign him and, you know, that need help at running back. I think of, you know, like Detroit Lions would probably give anything to have him. Richie Sambora got sentenced for his DUI. Yeah, there was talk because when he got his DUI, his daughter was in the car. I believe she's 10 years old. So there was talk of charging him with child endangerment for that. But he ended up pleading guilty, so they didn't charge him with that. And it was just basically like a regular DUI, three years probation, alcohol education classes, and some fines. There you go. Are you guys ready for a clip from Tim and Eric? Awesome show. Great job. That may save the day. It is Dr. Steve Brule. And Dr. Steve Brule is joining the Jan and Wayne Schuyler. Is it Brule? Brule's Rules. Oh, that's right. Brule's Rules. Dr. Steve Brule. And the character, Dr. Steve Brule, of course, played by John C. Reilly.
For no apparent reason, by the way. And John C. Reilly, he's an Academy Award nominated star. Huge star. He's a huge star. He's an A-list. If you want him in your movie, you're going to pay a lot of money. No way. Oh, yeah. And he does this television show that comes on at 4 o'clock in the morning. No, 4.15. 4.15 in the morning. On Sundays. And it's pretty funny. And it's 11 minutes long. And this is Dr. Steve Bruhl joining the Jan and Wayne Schuyler TV Morning Show as a wine correspondent. Holy cow. To help viewers understand the various types of wine. Cut 35. And now, the only married news team in the Tri-County area, Jan and Wayne Schuyler, with special news correspondent Dr. Steve Bruhl. What a treat. We've got a very special guest. Dr. Steve Bruhl is up in wine country. He's going to show us a thing or two about the differences between different kinds of wine. Steve? Hey, Danny. Hey, Wayne. I don't even like wine. But guess what? You're going to like it. I need some cheese. Steve, what kind of wine is that you're drinking? I can't see, hon. Wine. I'm supposed to spit it out. But no way, Jose.
Wine was invented by the Romans for orgies. Too much fun if no one wants to do with you. You want to check on Steve real quick? Tell him how it tastes, Steve. All right, let's do it. There's all kinds of other wines. Peanut Noir. You can get all different kinds. And that's all zero. For your wine. That's all zero. There he is, Dr. Steve Ruhl. He's also fond of calling people turkeys, which I enjoy. It's a word that has kind of been gone since the 70s. So has No Way Jose. Yeah, No Way Jose has not been used in a long time. So thought you might enjoy that. Bush's disapproval rating is the highest in history.
In the history, well, since they've been taking records of approval ratings. So the last 70 years. In the United States of America. Never. Broke a record. That's right, President Bush. How about you? You broke a record. That's really good. President Bush. President Bush. No. Sky, what do you... In your face, Carter. Tell President Bush what we found out. Well, your current disapproval rating is at 69%, which beats the previous record of 67%, which was held by President Truman during the Korean War. Face. Okay, again. Yeah. That's cool. But what's really weird is you also hold the record for the highest approval rating of any president. What's up? Whoa, President Bush. Yeah, which was at 90% in the days right after 9-11. Oh, it's fun. Yo, what up?
So, yeah, you hold the record for the highest and the lowest. It's not good, though. It's absolutely huge. That's a huge fall. It's a big fall. And so it's not good because you were once great and now small. I'm the biggest winner and also on NBC, the biggest loser. No, it's not the same thing. It's people that are losing weight. I've won them both. That's people that are losing weight. But we appreciate it. Well, congrats. Thank you. Bush kicks ass. Thank you very much. Third turn. It's the president of the United States. Come on, you want me? It's the president of the United States. His name is George W. Bush. Thank you, President Bush. Investigators are looking into seven cracked wing clips on U.S. Airways planes. What is that all about? Well, Mike, let's see. A while back, a U.S. Airways flight was flying and somewhere over Maryland, this part of the wing that is called the wing panel actually flew off and hit a passenger's window and cracked the outside of the window. That's, you know, about a four foot by five.
foot panel that flew off the wing. I wonder if he was sleeping at the time. Yeah, how freaky would that be? Against the window, you know, he's got his head resting against the window. Right. You think that would frighten you? Yeah, maybe see a big crack down the window. Oh, good. He's lucky it didn't come through that thing. Yeah, they say it cracked the outer panel, but not the inner panel, so the cabin stays. He's probably going to still sue for being scared. Yeah. So after that incident, they said, you know what? Let's check out all their aircrafts because they found the reason the panel came off was because of a bad wing clip, which holds those things on. So after looking at all of their planes, they found that seven of them had cracked wing clips. Oh. Yeah, but since they've all been fixed and everything's good and nothing to worry about here. You know what the solution to it is? Huh? Sit on it. Oh, that's so true, Mike. Great idea. This is what I do. I sit on you. I sit on you. This is what I do. I sit on you. Right on your head. Yeah. This is what I do. This is what I do. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit on you. Sit, sit, sit on you. Sit on you. A little bit, yeah. That's it. That's all you need. No way, Jose. That's it. Get out of here, turkey. This is the road. Text us, 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. What?
What is the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to you in public? Ashley, get my wife on the phone. Okay. I know she has a story. Really? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. She has a story. I'm going to tell you right now. I feel that I am transparent enough. I've told my story before. It doesn't need to be told again. Well, no. We have new listeners all the time, Mike. Remember? You tell me that every day. And so? Let's just say I was once embarrassed too. And then let's just move on. Are you talking about when you urinated on yourself? I did not urinate. I didn't do that. I didn't do that. That's not exactly. Was it Judy Collins or Kenny Loggins? It was not Judy Collins. No, it was Judy Collins. It was Judy Collins. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. He's a shrewd. Always has a briefcase. He always does. I don't know if he has anything in it. It's tequila. That's what's in there. You need that for a good business meeting. Sky, what's the website? It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. This is the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I think I have an issue with numbers and letters. Read them. I really do. Eddie. I have my knowledge in my head.

This is bad news for UFC fans.
Chuck Liddell tore his hamstring and it has to pull out of his fight in June. That really upsets Sky. Anytime something with ham in it gets hurt, it's a bad day. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. What is the worst humiliation that you've ever suffered in public? Eddie alluded to it. It's the lady that sung... Bring in the clowns. Bring in the clowns. And she was performing at a place called the Mountain Winery. Saratoga Mountain Winery. Very nice place. Beautiful. It's very classy. Very beautiful. And I was to bring her on stage. I was to go out on stage. And this is when I worked at a place that was very classy. It was a station like Kixi.
And at the time, I was wearing, it was kind of fashionable and looked cool if you were wearing a business suit to have on suspenders. Looked cool. I'm not kidding you. Well, they were like cool, like, you know, thin, like business-like suspenders. I'm not talking like Richard Simmons, like, you know, rainbow suspenders. I'm not saying. Yeah, because that would be weird. Yeah, that would be strange. And so I had on this button down shirt and I had and I was, you know, morbidly obese and I was wearing these khaki pants. And, you know, I had to go tinkle before I went out on stage. And as men, you know, when you're done doing that, you have to, you know, you know what I'm saying. And there was a few. It was more than a few. There was some droplets. Oh, no. And I look down with such horror going, you got to be kidding me. Not right now. And I'm already insecure because I'm overweight. I remember at the time I wore glasses. I had a mullet. What? This is not a real story. It wasn't just a mullet. It was like feathered hair.
But like the mullet and, you know, suspenders and the dress shirt, morbidly obese, glasses, you know. That is great. That's sexy. The khaki pants and just, you know, spots all over the front of it. And I had to walk out on stage. And good evening and welcome to the Saratoga Mountain Winery. And here is Judy Collins. Goodness, is that guy here? 5701053. What is the worst public humiliation that you've suffered? 5701053. Hi, honey. Hi, babe. This is my wife on the line. Hey, hon. Can you tell the story about when you were in high school? I would rather not, but I have a more recent story when I was in college. All right.
Lori was with me, my friend Lori. So she remembers this. We were coming out of class, and we were both going home for the day. And we were walking out to the parking lot to get to our cars. Whoa. Sorry. That's my son, Jake. What's that guy doing? Mappy. Yeah. He's having his milk. Aw. Anyway, so. We are coming out to our cars. Honey, have him say something funny. Okay. Can you say milk? Black. Have him say something else. Okay, he's drinking, so it might be hard. Hold on. Can you say, I love you? He thinks that's pretty funny. So anyway, so tell this story, baby. No, he doesn't want to. All right, tell this story. So we're walking out to our cars, and it's me and Lori and another girlfriend of ours. And I've got, like, a big, like, water bottle, you know, like a liter bottle of water. And I have, you know, a bunch of books and papers and everything. And there's this crosswalk that basically takes you from the campus to the parking lot.
But it happens to be right at, like, the mouth of where everybody enters the school grounds. So when the crosswalk hits, there are so many cars waiting right there. Not to mention people, you know, walking through the crosswalk. And this is a very busy place. And so we get into the crosswalk, and I don't know what happened, but, like, my foot gave out or something. And I fell. Like the worst I've ever fallen in my life. I landed on my stomach. Not graceful. With my arms out. I'm not kidding. Like it was crazy. And all my stuff went flying everywhere. And it was kind of on a hill. So stuff started rolling down the hill. If we had seen this. And we didn't know who she was. If we had seen this, it would have been the funniest thing that we've ever seen. It was slapstick. It must have looked vaudevillian. Sean actually has a sound effect of what it is. He was there that day. Sean actually was going to San Marcos at the time, Cal State San Marcos. And so he was there when she fell with a recorder. And Sean, do you have that audio? Oh, yeah. That was the day that it happened.
That's what it actually sounded like. I have to add that my friend Lori, who's like one of my dearest friends, she was so concerned about me, but she couldn't keep herself from just dying laughing. It had to be hysterical. She was trying to help me, but at the same time, she couldn't compose herself because it was so funny to her. It was humiliating. That's awesome. Thank you very much, honey. I love you. Love you. Bye. That's my wife. I don't know why she wouldn't tell the other story. Date? There's nothing wrong with the other story. Really? Yeah. It was an accident. It was in the middle of an assembly. Hey, I don't, I mean, I think. It's an auditorium. Oh, I know this story. We've told it before. Yes. Maybe she didn't want it. You don't remember this? No. Underwear? The skirt fell off or something. It got, you know, somebody was. You don't remember this? Yeah, I don't remember how it happened. Like she was in front of an assembly or something and her skirt like. Came flying off. Like it fell down. Yeah. She was like doing something or whatever. Like she did a kick or she did something like they were doing. It was this. That's so much worse. It was a choreographed like move that they all had to do. Yeah. And it ripped or whatever. Like a button broke or something. Yeah, a button broke or something. And she's standing there in front of the whole school. I couldn't know. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Underwear. Underwear. That was pretty rough. Yeah.
P1 Kai Kai is on the line. What's up, Mikey Show? What's going on? Not a lot. I have an embarrassing moment. My very first day of high school, I had my new little skirt on, was thinking I was looking so good, and my dad dropped me off in his little VW rabbit. This was in 1988, so 20 years ago. Right. And fell out of the car into the gutter, and I didn't realize it, but my skirt had ripped all the way up the back, and I'm... halfway across campus before some stranger comes up to me and tells me that my cold butt was hanging out. I don't need to tell the females what your butt looks like in a pair of nylon. Oh, wow. I didn't get back in the car. I didn't get back. And you had to go through class that day, obviously. Backed myself up against the wall after she told me, and my mom brought me a change of clothes. Oh, for goodness sake. Yeah, pretty bad. Holy moly. Oh, that's the worst. But you finished the school day. I did, amazingly, and I went through college and everything. Oh, wow. Pretty well-rounded. Yeah, and you're actually still alive today, actually. I am. I lived through it. Which is amazing. Thank you, Kai Kai. I appreciate it. Oops, sorry. 570-1053 is our phone number. Dudes.
Call us with embarrassing things that have happened to you at work. The most humiliating thing that's ever happened in public. Maybe it happened in a shopping mall. Eddie, you had anything embarrassing happen? Yes. Yes. Junior high. I, for some reason, told one of my friends that I was in a secret relationship. with the most popular girl in school. Oh, no. What were you doing? I was an idiot. I don't know what I was thinking. I was trying to show off, and I was like, it's a secret, though. It's a secret. We're keeping it on the DL, so don't tell anybody. Don't tell anybody. Well, he proceeds to tell somebody, and that person proceeds to tell... It gets all over school, and then in front of everybody, they say something to her while I'm standing right there, and I am just... Mortified. Oh, that's terrible. In front of everybody. Was she cool? No. No. No. Of course not. She's the most popular girl. Hey, I was no slouch, homie. But still, we definitely weren't going out. Wow. That was awful. I was devastated. Always worse than you're younger. Yeah. Anyways. 35253 is the text number. Phone number is 5701053. Yeah, this is pretty embarrassing. Aubrey, you there? You were bungee jumping?
Yes. Go ahead. This is a safe place. Tell us what happened. I was in Cancun on vacation, and someone asked me if I want to go bungee jumping, so of course I say yes. This is right on a dock over the water where all the boats unload. Now, the Kintner kid didn't spill out all over that sucker, did he? Because let me tell you something. That dock is well known for that Kintner kid. That's true. That's all I'm saying. They ended up dipping me completely underwater, which I didn't want. My whole top flew off. Two boats were unloading and hundreds of people were on dock watching. Can you imagine? So, ladies, is that embarrassing when something like that happens when you're bungee jumping and the top gets ripped off? There you go. P1 Jennifer is on the line. Thank you for the call, Aubrey. Jennifer, go ahead. Hi, I'm Nanny for this little boy and I got to go to Hawaii with them. So me and my friend decided to take him to the pool, and when we were leaving, I had the baby on one hip and towels in the other arm, and his little feet were dangling right where my bathing suit ties, and I guess he had untied my bathing suit bottoms. Holy cow. So they fell off. Bottoms? The bottoms? Yeah. They fell off. Oh. No way. He untied it, yeah. Oh, my gosh. And you didn't know? I didn't know until my friend's like, Ken!
And so I looked down and my hands were full, so I just threw the baby in front of myself. And I was like, ah! Oh! Using the baby as a shield? Wow, that's awkward. Yeah, the baby was the shield. That was the shield. It was a babkini. That's right. Thank you very much. Thanks. Have a great day. You too. Yeah, that would be a little embarrassing. 570-1053 is our phone number. Little pockets of something again through Carmel Mountain Ranch here as you head down that direction. Heading south in the 5, that's staying busy out of Lucadia now into Solana Beach. Hasn't been too bad yet out of the East County this morning. The westbound 52, just a minor slowdown up the hill. The westbound 8 is seeing some, I guess a brief delay. Spring Street. Out to Lake Murray off and on. Really not too bad overall. West 94 on the King Freeway. Just a minor slowdown from 32nd Street now into downtown. And you are seeing some more breaklights out of the South Bay on both the 5 and the 805 northbound up through National City. 805 slowing again now over the 52 out of Kearney Mesa. Now, The Mikey Show presents... The search for the truth behind the words. The logic behind the lyrics. It's time to play... Lyrical Gangster. Let's get you on the air if you know the lyrics to songs. You got to be good at it, okay? I don't want anybody calling if they're like, you know what, I don't really pay attention to the words. This game is not for you. The game is only for people that actually pay attention to the lyrics of songs. And I do. I listen to the music and I pay attention to the words. But some people, like my brother Steve, he just listens and he could never tell you what they're saying. He just likes the way it sounds. And a lot of people are like that. That's not who we're looking for here. 5701053, if you know the lyrics to songs. P1 Mighty's on the line. Mighty, are you there? What's up? Not too much, dude. How old are you? I'm 25. Where do you work? I work for Affordable Printer Care. There you go. Yeah. There you go. So you guys come to the businesses and you fix the copy machine. Not just the copy machine, but any printer you got laying around, yeah. I had a problem. I have to get a new printer today.
Really? Call us. I got to get a new printer today. Why? You know what, man? I got that Mac, right? Yeah. And it doesn't want to work right with my old printer. And, yeah, so I said, you know what? I'm sick of just trying to make it work that way. I'm just going to get a new printer and make it work. Okay, P1 Mighty. I'm going to give you the choice of three categories, and you choose, okay? Okay. You got American Idol graduates. 90s rock music or prom songs? Let me take 90s rock music because I heard 80s when Rob screamed the call. So let me take 90s rock. I'm good at that. You got it. Your 90s rock song is in the song Bullet with Butterfly Wings by the Smashing Pumpkins. He says, despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a what? In a cage, man. You got it. Bingo. You got it. Buddy. Wait a minute. Eddie, what is the prize today? We got movie passes to that movie prom night. There you go. So hang on the line, P1 Mighty. You are our first winner today. P1 Moe. Yes. Moe, how old are you? I am going to be 30 next month. How about you? Nice. You married? Yes. Your husband taking you anywhere? You doing anything special for the birthday? Probably not. We just had a vacation, so. Where'd you go?
Nowhere. San Diego. You stayed here? Yes. And what do you do for a living? I work at PB Urgent Care. Oh, there you go. There you go. I'm sure Rob has met you a few times and got some stitches from you. I'm sure you would recognize him. I've called him a couple times. That's right. Here are your categories. Prom songs, 90s rock, and American Idol graduates. Okay. American Idol. You got it. Your question is in the song Home by Daughtry. He says, these places and these faces are getting what? Did you say old? Yes. You are correct. It's just a little fact about that song. Daughtry had been on the road for a total of five minutes when it was getting old. Wow. And at the time that he had written that song, hang on the line. You've won tickets to prom night. P1 Ryan's on the line. Here I am. Ryan, what do you do? Not much right now. Uh-oh. Unemployed? Workers comp. Oh, there you go. It's our friend, Ryan. Oh, it's our friend, Ryan. Oh, hi, Ryan. Hey, Ryan, I'd put you at 25. How old are you? 32. No way. Shut your mouth. For real? That's crazy. Dude, I thought you were younger. I would have thought you were 25 years old. No. You got good genes. All right, dude, your categories are American Idol graduates, prom songs, and 90s rock.
Oh, I want to embarrass myself. Let's go for American Idol. You got it. Nice. Your question is, in the song Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood, she says, I dug my key into the side of his what? I think it's his car. You got to give me the line. Dug my keys into the side of his car. That is incorrect. That is incorrect, Ryan. She dug her key into the side of his... pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive. Sean did have a great point about that particular lyric, which is if you're going to vandalize someone's car, you might not want to carve your name into the seats because then when the investigation takes place, they'll probably be able to figure out who they should talk to. Ryan, because you are a Hall of Famer, And a longtime contributor, we're going to give you tickets to the movies anyway. Hang on a line. He's a good guy, and he deserves to win. Awesome! P1 Greg, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up, guys? Not too much, dude. How old are you? 25. What do you do? I'm in construction. There you go. There you go. You've never had... You know, we were just talking about embarrassing moments. You've never had anything really embarrassing happen on the construction site?
Oh, no. No, I can't say that I have. You know, listen, I got a lot of construction friends, and they've got some stories, and I would tell them, it's just that I don't want to embarrass them unless they're willing to embarrass themselves, and then, as soon as they give me permission, I would love to tell their stories. Your categories are 90s rock, prom songs, and American Idol graduates. Which one do you want? 90s rock. You got it. Your 90s rock question is... In the song Killing in the Name of by Rage Against the Machine, he says, those who died are justified for wearing the badge. They're the chosen what? I went blank. I'm going to give him another chance because I messed it up when I was saying it. Let me give you one more chance. What is it? Okay. He says, those who died are justified for wearing the badge. They're the chosen what? One. That is incorrect. They're the chosen white. Sorry about that, bro. Let's protest. Let's do one more. I think we should protest. What are we protesting? The messing up of the song. Good call. Chin is murder. Chin is murder. Would you eat your chin? Rump roast. P1 Brian.
What's up? How you doing, man? What do you do for a living? I clean carpets. There you go. How old are you, man? I am 52. Okay, perfect. You do not sound 52, but... Not at all. Hey, listen. There you go. That was a funny joke. I liked it. I actually liked it. I bought it. Your categories are prom songs, 90s rock, and American Idol graduates. Let's do prom songs. Yeah, dude. Your question is... Pay attention. I don't care. Okay, here we go. In the song True by Spandau Ballet, what does he find it so hard to write? His feelings. No. No, that is incorrect. I didn't even think about it. He finds it... Oh, Sean is upset, man. He's an 80s fan. Well, this is a hard one. You see, he finds it so hard to write the next line. 5701053 is our phone number. In fact, we should probably be working together to not move mountains. Let's think of some better phrases. Ones that don't imply that being successful means devastating the landscape. How about something like, together we can move mountains of trash that have piled up near the old docks.

There are certain things in my life that I considered no-brainers.
At the time that I married my wife, I knew that one was a no-brainer. Nobody's going to put up with the stuff she puts up with and is still real cool about it like her. But there's also things like when I talk about AIS and when I talk about Sleep Train, these are no-brainers in life. Paul Stanley, which is here. How about that? 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. By definition, I saw a UFO in Phoenix two years ago. As a matter of fact, Boston Rob was in Phoenix at the time, and his family came over for Thanksgiving, because that's why I was out there. And Boston Rob happened to be out there at the same time, and him and his family came over for Thanksgiving. Now, this was 4 o'clock in the morning. At the time, this was 2005. And at the time, Mikey still smoked cigarettes. And so at 4 o'clock in the morning, he had to get up and go outside. But something was happening outside that he could have never expected. Never expected to look into the eastern horizon and see something.
flying his way. In fact, flying straight towards him. As it turned out, he wasn't the only one to see strange lights over Phoenix that morning. In fact, just a few years later, in April of 2008, others would report seeing the same thing. Oh, man. Skye, what is the report this morning? So, Monday night, around 8 o'clock at night, some red-colored lights in the sky over Phoenix that formed a square. Get my brother on the phone now. And then moved into the shape of a triangle, which is very reminiscent to similar reports back in 1997 in the same area of Phoenix. What the heck? Well, I'm going to give you my take. Of course, the Air Force and all local airports say that that was none of their aircraft. I'm going to give you my take. I don't think that this was like a flying saucer from outer space with aliens. There's no doubt in my mind that what I saw was probably man-made. But it was weird. Did it move weird? Dude, it moved. First of all, it was a single solid white light. And it moved so fast. I watched it from the bottom of the horizon.
start moving towards, you know, my direction really fast, look like it was like as high as an airplane. So like 30,000 feet or higher. And it was a single white light and it moved from the bottom of the horizon and was moving really, really fast till it was over like the top of my head, 40, 50,000 feet up. And it stopped. on a dime like it was moving really fast and went and stopped it didn't slow down there wasn't like a slowing down of the light it stopped like and when it happened like I remember going like it scared me and the light was solid just there and then the light turned into two lights and started spinning okay I told Rebecca about it she was flying out that day And the next morning, same time, I got up, went outside, saw it again, like flying toward, you know, coming towards me. And I went and woke her up and woke my mother up and woke my niece up. And they all came out and they all saw it. When it turned into the two lights, my niece went back inside. She goes, I'm out. Wow. It was freaky. And it was in Phoenix.
That's crazy. Now, I was staying at my brother Steve's house. Steve, you there? Yeah. Steve-o. So I told Steve about it the next day, and Steve goes, oh, yeah, see that all the time. Well, people in the neighborhood report it all the time, right, Steve? Well, yeah. I mean, you had me on hold, and I heard you talking about it, and that's exactly it. It's crazy. It's nuts. That people in your neighborhood have seen it before, right? Well, I remember. When you and I walked out, my neighbor in the cul-de-sac, I go, hey, my brother saw the lights. And he goes, oh, yeah. And he's got one of those high-powered, like, telescopes. Yeah. And, you know, we've discussed this, dude. I live close to the Scottsdale Mountains, and there's got to be some military. I don't know. I could be talking on my butt. But I think there's some military testing or something going on out there because we look, and there is just the craziest things you'll ever see. We just go. When he looks through that telescope, has he ever seen anything strange or no? No, he's never said that he's seen anything strange, but he's, you know, he says that he sees, you know, he sees the lights and he sees what, you know, you and I have talked about where, you know, we're looking at the light and then it just goes boom and it's gone. And we just look at each other going, come on. Have you heard the latest story, the one that Sky was just talking about? I did. And, you know.
They've got everybody on the news talking about, you know, yeah, it's extraterrestrial. Well, ABC News just reported that some guy in Phoenix put flares on balloons and lit them up. Oh, really? Yeah. So I'm like, come on. I mean, this is ABC News National. Right. So, you know, some guy apparently had put some, you know, balloons and, you know, attached flares and let them go. Now, are they saying that that's what this was? That's what ABC News is reporting, but, you know, everybody in Phoenix has a theory and all the nuts are coming out. Yeah. Very interesting. That's awesome. All right, dude, thanks, man. All right. We'll see you. P1 Mango, are you there? Yeah, right here. You hear something similar? Yeah, I heard on CNN News that some guy with big ol' flares attached to a helium balloon would float them up in the sky. Due to wind patterns, this could easily make a formation of a square and a triangle, although it just depends on where you are and how you see it. Well, I got to tell you, man, what I saw that night was not a flare. No. And what my wife saw and my mother saw and my niece saw was not a flare. It was weird. And my opinion is it was probably military. Yeah. But I'm like, what? First of all, what would it be? What would they use that for?
Maybe it's a defense thing to scare people to death. Well, it sketches me out that they're saying, oh, it's a balloon, blah, blah, blah. Like, what balloon can you light up that will form a square with lights and all that? And then move into the shape of a triangle. Yeah, like that's a flare. Yeah, how do you light flares in the shape of a triangle? I don't know. And then just the same exact thing happened back in 97. Was it the same dude with the flare? Yeah. What is it? Flare Man? Rick Flair? P1 Silver Bullet is on the line. And he's basically calling to say he used to put candles in balloons and do the same thing. You there, man? Yeah, I'm here. So you used to put candles in hot air balloons? Is that what you're saying? Well, you take a trash bag, a clear, like, real light. trash bag. Uh-huh. You can put the candles on straws and the heat makes it rise. You've probably seen it on TV. But I used to take, like, these M-80s bottle rockets or, you know, just a big ball of gunpowder. Mm-hmm. And I rigged it up, man, and it would blow up in the middle of the air, you know? Wow. And did it look like something extraterrestrial? Yeah, because we used to send off, like, four or five at a time, man, and they all stay together and they go with the prevailing winds. It was pretty cool. Mm-hmm. Thank you.
Thank you very much. That's weird. You guys ever seen anything UFO-ish? There was one time that I thought I saw something really weird, but it could have been anything. We were driving. What's that road that you go to Santa Cruz from Gilroy? Hecker Pass. Yeah, but that crazy... The 152? I don't know what it is. The crazy windy road? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's not Hecker Pass. It goes over there over to Watsonville. Doesn't it change eventually? I don't know. Anyway, that road. Yeah. And we're in the middle of the night. I don't know what we were doing. I forget. It was me and a bunch of friends. And there was like this, it was a lot of fog. And in the fog, I saw a shape that didn't look like a human being. No way. And I went. No. Because it had this like giant noggin and it was small and it was weird. And that could have been Boston Rob. You never really... The chin was weird. Where was it in the fog? Was it standing on the side of the road in the fog? And I always thought, man, that looked weird. Like alien-like. But I'm like, whatever. I don't really buy that. Bobby! Yeah, it could have been Bobby. Sky, did you ever see anything weird? Oh, no, I wish I have. I'm telling you, man. I'm telling you.
P1 Nick, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What did you see? When I was about 12 years old, I looked right out my window. I saw the same thing as you. I saw a triangle, all lights. And I went to go get my mom real quick. And then when she came, they all kind of scattered. Yeah, now I didn't see a triangle. That sky's talking about that, that that's in the news. That's what they just saw over Phoenix, a square and a triangle lights over Phoenix. When I was out there, I didn't see that. I saw a single light turn into two lights and start turning and then start. And then it was moving up and it got so high in the atmosphere that we couldn't see the lights anymore. But we sat there and watched it for a long time. Yeah, it's crazy because it was like five different lights and they all formed a triangle. And then as soon as my mom came in. They all just scattered, and there's no way balloons can just do that. On the other line, we got a guy named Tommy that says that his buddy saw and videotaped the same type of thing that I saw, and he was on a battleship. Wow. Is that right, Tommy? Yes, it is. He just told me that right now, actually. Really? Does he have, and he has this on video? He didn't. He had to get it taken away because, you know, government, man. What? The government videotaped this from there.
spider planes and they had to get rid of his tape. Let me talk to your buddy. Mike. Hey, are you there? He's getting him. Oh, he's getting him. Hey, this is Mike. Hey, Mike, how you doing? I'm good. So, you're telling me that you had this videotape confiscated? Okay, this is what happened. It was actually video from one of the S-16s on the Nimitz and the moment we pulled into shore, it was immediately gone off the top secret drive. Okay, now. How were you aware of it? Were you a pilot? No, I had a top ticket clearance while I was in the military. And these guys spotted something on radar that was about 20,000 feet up. And I think it was what they were saying is it was going up from 21,000 to 22,000 feet. Dropped down from 22,000 feet to basically sea level in like a second. And so they sent out planes to go check it out. and then their comms shut out as they get close to it, and they had the video on it and everything. What did it look like? All right, here's the crazy thing. Nobody ever believes me when I say this to you, but I saw the video, and they showed it in the night vision because it was about 9 p.m., and it actually looked like oval shape, right? Mm-hmm. And then they switched to night vision to get a better view of it, get closer and closer, and then they switched it to get a better view.
And then you hear the comms shut out again, and then it turned sideways, literally had the fin poking out of the back and just took off the screen, and that was it. How would you guys like to see that? I would give anything. How would you guys like to see that? Everybody on the ship was running around with foil on their head, like on side. That is the best. That is the best, man. The moment we pulled in. Dude, that is crazy. They took it away from you the moment you pulled in. You're saying that they confiscated it the moment that you pulled in. They took it away. The moment we pulled in, I'm talking that thing was gone right then and there. 570-1053 is our phone number. This is a story coming out of Phoenix. Strange lights. It's time to face facts. Your brain is too slow. You see, it took you nearly two-tenths of a second to be offended by that. This is, in fact, the average reaction time of a human being. Combine this with the time it takes to spot danger from behind the wheel of a moving car and then decide on the correct course of action and your reaction time can balloon to a full two seconds or more. Now, while there is nothing we at Lexus can do to actually improve your reaction time, we have worked vigorously to give you more time with which to react. Efforts that have culminated in 14 actively safe features offered on the Lexus RX, designed to help you see danger quickly and react more surely. Hillary Clinton won the Pennsylvania primary last night. She won the presidency, I heard. Yeah, by 10 points. No. The NBA playoffs last night saw San Antonio take a two-game lead over Phoenix. New Orleans beat Dallas and Orlando beat Toronto. Welcome back to the show. Sky, did you see the People magazine with the article in it about the cheerleader beat up video thing? Oh, you know what? I'm like halfway through that People magazine, but I did see it on, you know, they had it on the front cover as one of the things. Let me see, Ash. Hold it up. Yep. Yeah. It's the one with, it's the People magazine with the inside the cult.
as the cover, but they got the picture of the girl. Inside the magazine is the full story of what happened, which was, by the way, it was a result of a girl posting negative remarks on a MySpace account. Ridiculous. And when you read the article, it's kind of convoluted because it sounds like the sheriff is saying things that are very different than what At least what you see in the photograph, like the sheriff says that the girls are in the holding cell and they're all in there giggling. But when you see this photograph that they take of them, they're crying and they got their hands over their face. They don't look like they're giggling. But anyway, you see this video of these girls viciously attacking another girl. And the reason that they do it is because the girl was on MySpace and she was posting negative comments. But man, when you see it. It's outrageous, man. I mean, it's really outrageous. It's like a gang attack. Oh, yeah. It's for sure looks like a gang attack. Now, you talk to the parents. One of the parents is kind of defending her daughter, saying, you know, if it was as bad as they said and her head was getting slammed against the wall, wouldn't there be some sort of a hole in the drywall? It's soft drywall. And I'm like.
Wow. That's your argument? Yeah. That's your defense? We're looking at the tape. She's getting beat up real bad. We have eyes. Yeah. But these girls, they're facing life in prison. Wow. That is nuts. They're going to be tried as adults. And there's also felony kidnapping charges involved. Mm-hmm. Wow. That's because they wouldn't let her leave, right? Yeah, because they were holding her against her will. And there was two dudes standing outside the place doing, like, lookout. Oh, boy. Yeah, there was two guys. I haven't heard that. That is sick. They had pictures of them in the People magazine. And the other day I saw, I was watching CNN, and they were showing it live when they were doing the, when they were, I don't know, arraignment for those two boys. And I didn't know that that was the deal. I thought, oh, it must be another. you know, young kids, my space thing. I didn't realize it was the same story till I read the people that it's the same kids. And, uh, you know, we, we never really got into it. We never really talked to people about what they thought of it. 5701053, our text number is 35253. And, uh, not that I think that there's really varying opinions on it. I guess the only thing that, that, that we would probably be discussing is, is the penalty too harsh?
I think it is. I mean, you know, life imprisonment, that's a little much. I mean, these are still kids. They did something very wrong, and I think they should be punished for it. Life in prison, come on. Yeah, I don't think so either. The court's not looking at them like they're kids. They're looking at them like they're adults. Even if you're an adult, it still seems weird. Yeah, it does seem excessive, life in prison. Even if you can say, oh, what if it was your daughter? Let me tell you something. If it was my daughter, I would want them to be punished. Very much so. But I don't know, man. Life in prison seems a little harsh. But what do you guys think? 570-1053. What did you think when you saw the footage? What did you think when you heard about the fact that these girls are facing life in prison? What are your feelings? 570-1053. And the text number is 35. P1 Bernadette, are you there? I'm here. You think that the girl that got beat up deserved it? What? Maybe I'm reading it wrong. I'm reading it wrong. Tell us she's reading it wrong. Wait, wait, wait. Listen. Okay, I know it's probably not going to be the most popular view, but come on. I mean, I just can't seem to be doing this kind of stuff forever.
When I was a teenager, if I talked smack about my friends, I would expect to get my butt kicked, you know? And I just don't think it's that big of a deal. Oh, my gosh. Does anybody, is there anybody listening that agrees this kind of thing has been happening for a long time? The only reason that it's a big deal right now is because it was caught on tape? Is that what you're saying? Well, it's because of the Internet, which blows everything out of proportion, you know? So it's the Internet's fault. I'm not saying it's the answer. Again, Mike, it's that old thing, two wrongs make a right. So, ma'am, Bernadette, if I understand correct, you're saying that because she was talking smack on MySpace, she deserved to get beaten. Well, she deserved something. I mean, you know, you just don't do that. You know, it's like that's what I would expect. I have three kids. I have a daughter who's a young teen. And if she was talking trash about her friends, I'd expect... some kind of retaliation, you know, and I would think she'd probably deserve it. Holy moly. So wait a minute. So you're saying that if that were your daughter in that video, your reaction would be, well, what did you do to deserve this? And if she said, well, I was on MySpace and I was talking smack, you would go, well, you deserved it. I washed my hands a few. Well, I would definitely say, listen, kid, you know, it's like you don't.
You don't start things like that and expect everybody to be like, hey, that's no problem. You talk about me on the internet and say terrible things about me. I would expect, yeah, I'd expect probably to get my butt kicked. Well, I will say this. If it were me, if it were me, I would definitely, I would have hopefully had a conversation with my son, Jake, He's a year and a half old right now. But at some point, I'm going to have a conversation with him about consequence. And that if something happens, you're going to have to face consequence. Now, you got a baby. I can hear your baby. Do you have kids this age, though, Bernadette? Yeah, I have a young teen. Then I have two little ones. Okay. I'm telling you, I would definitely tell my kid that there's consequence. Right. But you've seen the video, right, Bernadette? Yeah. And you still say she deserved it.
Well, you know, you keep saying it like I'm the one who's going to mete out the punishment. All I'm saying is if I was talking like that about my friends, I would expect... Street justice. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, come on. Come on. Come on. This has never happened to you in the past? You know, kind of, yeah. I understand, you know, getting in fights and stuff like that in school. But this was multiple people attacking this girl and, you know, basically not letting her leave. Like, this is outrageous behavior. Bernadette, people are calling in reaction to what you're saying. P1 Scottish, are you there? Yep. What did you want to say? Yeah, this chick is outrageous. I mean, getting jumped for a MySpace comment is completely out of line. The most you need to do is probably slap her on the face one time. Wait!
Wait a second. Slap your own face is what he's saying. No, no, no. He says that you don't understand. Let me try it. Oh, that hurt. Oh, that hurt. Don't do that. I don't want to do that anymore. You shouldn't. Don't do that. Problem solved. Problem solved. Thank you very much, Scottish. You've solved my problem. Bernadette, it doesn't look like your opinion is very popular. There are a lot of P1s that are calling in. That's strange, Mike. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Not everyone would agree. Yeah, I had a feeling. Mikey, show you there. Who's this? This is P1. I don't want to go to work. Okay, go ahead. I don't want to go to work. I have two teenagers at home, and there's nothing, and they're both MySpace, and there's nothing anybody can do. I don't care if it's YouTube, MySpace, or whatever, that could ever, ever warrant any kind of beating. There's not a thing you can say, not anything you can say on MySpace or off MySpace that gives anybody the right... to take you and keep you hostage in the house, beat the crap out of you. I think that they're going to glamorize it on the Internet or off the Internet or anywhere. They talk amongst their friends. If these little girls are facing life in prison, that's what they got coming. Bernadette, what do you say to that? I just think, come on, life in prison for a teenage fight, that's just, it's blown way out of proportion. It's blown way out of proportion. People are missing the point here.
First of all, you have no right to keep anybody hostage. I don't care how old you are. And don't tell me that these kids don't know better. They know way better, okay? And who the hell do they think they are keeping this little girl and putting it on tape? Oh, my God, they deserve life just for that. How stupid can you be to think that it's not going to come back at you? And this poor kid, she's, like, begging them. They're begging her to fight, and she's telling them, no, let me go, just let me go, and they're not going to do it? Are you kidding me? If that was your kid getting crapping out of them, oh yeah, they better be facing life in prison. They better be. But life is the worst. That's the worst case scenario. We all know it's not going to happen. It's something to life and that's the worst thing. And if you ask me, good. I hope that they're scared out of their minds right now because you know what? How do you think that little girl felt? P1 Fish is on the line. Fish, go ahead. I think that this Bernadette lady is one of the reasons why our world is so effed up and that kids are going around shooting each other up in schools because of parents like her. That is ridiculous and insane that she would ever condone any kind of behavior like that for something that a child would say. I mean, you know what? It's okay if your feelings get hurt, sweetheart. But you know what? What you are doing, what you are teaching your children is appalling.
It's freaking appalling. Bernadette. Oh, gosh. Bernadette? Hey, yeah? What do you think? I told you it wasn't going to be popular. But you believe it. You believe in what you're saying. I'm not going to back down. I'm telling you. As a parent, you can sit there and laugh at this. I would like to sit down with this kid and ask her what her parents are teaching her that she is publishing trash about her friends. But isn't that like secondary, Bernadette? Shouldn't you be talking to the other parents first? The fact that this little kid was talking smack. But you want to know something? As a parent, you should teach your kids to say, all right, let that person be effed up. You take the high road. You follow the rules. You don't be violent. You know, as a parent, that's what I would do. I am a parent. I have two daughters. And if one of them was doing that kind of thing. I would let them know it's inappropriate. And if somebody else was saying something about my girl, I would let them know. You know what, sweetheart? Let them deal with those consequences and that hate. And they obviously have issues and need love from their parents who are telling them, you know what, go ahead and go out there and just get beat up and beat people up. So you know what? Don't give me this effing crap.
Bernadette, I have to agree. I just think that, you know, this person, if she's a mom or not, she might want to start watching her language because... Can I ask Bernadette one question? It's not that much different from what I'm saying. Go ahead, Ashley. Because, Bernadette, you're saying she should watch her language, but yet I feel like you're encouraging violence because you said that when you grew up, like, if you talked crap about one of your, you know, somebody, a schoolmate, that you would expect to get your butt kicked. So you think that that is a good form of punishment? You think that that's a fair form of punishment and that's a good lesson learned for kids? Like you think that that should be continuing on? Is that what you're saying? I'm just saying. I'm just saying the whole thing has gotten blown out of proportion. Yeah, when I was a teenager. When you got your butt kicked, did that feel good? Did that really teach you? Did that really make you learn your lesson? Yeah, pretty much. Wow. Really? Do you spank your children now? Do I what? Do you spank your children when they do something wrong? Do I spank them? Yeah. To discipline them? Yeah, I spank them. You do spank them. Yeah. Well, listen, everybody has their own way of doing it. This is an example of somebody that does it that way. Thank you, Bernadette. We appreciate the phone call. That's one person's opinion. What's your opinion? 570-1053.

Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Starting to look a little better out here as it winds down. Some better looking speeds on our freeways. South 15, as a matter of fact, looking just great out of Escondido down the stretch. There's an earlier accident still wrapping up here just before Carmel Mountain Road, but I'm not affecting your ride too much right now.
As you head westbound on the 56, you will find some traffic, though, approaching these ranks of Santa Fe Farms out to Carmel Valley. The coastal ride South 5 stays tough down the coastline out of Lucadia. Pretty solid here, man, all the way into Solana Beach. West 52, fine out of Santee. The West 8 looking good, just a brief lay past the queue in Mission Valley here. Your 94 King Freeway ride, a bit of a delay still from 28th Street into downtown. And good-looking speeds out of the South Bay on both the 5 and the 805 northbound. 805 does back up quite heavily, though, out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Casting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. See San Diego. Now something you might have missed. I need to know how Boston Rob's barbecue went. So, Rob, how did it go? How was this thing? It was good. I put a lot of work into it. Oh, fair. He did. It was so cute. It was crazy. This is, I'm giving you props. Yeah. Oh, oh, oh. For sure. I thought you were saying like, because I was like nervous that he's going to come over and be like, look at this dump. No, not at all. I spit on this place. Not at all. No, he was actually off the air saying the exact opposite, actually. Oh, wow. Yeah, I thought your place was cool. You know, it was better than that other dump you were living in. Shocked to see Meatball. Didn't know he was even alive still. Yeah, that guy's alive and kicking. Who knew? I didn't recognize him without a couch attached to him.

The Chiefs send their franchise player, defensive end Jared Allen, to Minnesota for their number one draft pick. So what do you think of this? 5701053 is our phone number. We'd love to hear from you and weigh in on what Bernadette said. She basically was saying, you know, if this is something that the kid's going to do on the Internet, she should expect the results to be exactly what they were. And, you know, it is a community. MySpace is a community just like the one in your neighborhood. Her point is, well, just like in your neighborhood, if you're writing stuff up on the walls in the neighborhood, you should expect the other girls to do something about it. Jump you and videotape it. And kidnap you.
P1, Sarah, are you there? I've worked with middle school kids for about six years now, and I've never seen anything like that. It's just, it's one thing to have a schoolyard fight, but another thing to premeditate a beating in your own home and videotape it. It's just not right. Yeah, we're not really getting people that are on the side of, yeah, you're asking for it if you're doing something like that. P1 Croc is on the line. Croc, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. I completely disagree with Bernadette, but I do have to say, when I was a freshman in high school, I got jumped. And the guys that jumped me went to jail for a year. When they got out of jail, you better believe that I was looking over my shoulder every time I turned around. I think these girls, the punishment life is very harsh, but I think they need something like more of a rehabilitation so they can think about what they did. Because the jail time is only going to make them more upset. And when they get out, they're going to be looking for the other girl. So they need to think about what they did and how they could have really hurt someone. Yeah, well, they did. P1, Piggy1. Hey, Mike. You know, I wish that Bernadette was still on the line. I think she's, from what I gather, the kind of parent that you didn't really get to ask her, but she would have probably condoned if somebody was talking about her daughter.
she probably would have said, hey, go ahead and go beat them up. Oh, great question. You know? Yeah, so you're saying if somebody had been talking smack about her daughter on MySpace, she would condone going and doing something about it? Yeah, yeah. Could be. I wouldn't put it past her. Yeah. Yeah, she seems to think it's an acceptable reaction to somebody bad-mouthing you. Mm-hmm. The scary thing is that although we're not getting the phone calls, I think it's out there. Yeah, I think Bernadette got so attacked that anybody who shared her opinion probably is like, I'm good. But we will watch the emails and the text. The text number is 35253 and our phone number, 570-1053. And you can give us a call and tell us what you think. It is certainly a very compelling video to see. You've never seen anything like it. Now, what was interesting, though, I'm saying, we've never seen anything like it because we're not really on the internet looking for this stuff. But they were saying that on YouTube, that's like a thing. Oh, yeah. It's those female fights. If you're on YouTube and search girl fights or anything like that, holy cow. That's what People Magazine said. Is this dude on purpose? It's pretty crazy. I think that that may have been on purpose. This one may have been on purpose so that, you know, because it's turning into a thing.
So you think the girls did it so that other people would watch and think they're cool? I think so. Could be, yeah. I think so. Yeah, definitely. Well, yeah. I mean, the fact that... Caller was right. It was premeditated. Yeah. And the fact that they videotaped it... That's right there. Yeah, I mean... It's criminal, dude. That's all. It's criminal. And it's the whole sort of Wild West thing that we've been talking about is that MySpace is still a Wild West. P1 Lisa's on the line. Totally agrees with Bernadette. Really? Lisa, go ahead. Well, I only agree with Bernadette just the fact that it happens. It happens all the time. It's not something that never happens to anybody. I'm very surprised that other people are surprised that this is happening. Yeah, I guess the surprising part is the videotape part of it. Go ahead. The videotape is crazy. I mean, that is crazy. crazy the fact that they videotaped it but i mean this is happening all the time well what's surprising to me and i don't know if you you know know more about this than i do but that it was like a group beating like i always assume that if someone's talking smack about you and if it does become uh physical heaven forbid that it would just be one-on-one the people involved not you know eight against one well you know sometimes it's involved with more than just you know more than just one-on-one
Sometimes it's one girl actually saying horrible things about three other people. Now, sometimes it's just hearsay. Like, my instance when I was 13 years old was hearsay. But, I mean, I got seriously hurt. I don't wish upon those girls to ever go to jail. I actually know those girls now. And we have no problems at all whatsoever. But we were kids. Yeah. Go ahead, Skye. Well, I'm just, like, how seriously were you hurt? What are we talking about? Like, broken bones? Stitches? I still have a dent in my forehead, and I'm 24 years old. And how could you ever become friends with those girls? Seriously. When you're young, you're young. You do stupid, stupid things. There's nothing you can do about it. I don't care. I had bullies when I was in middle school, and I still to this day hold immense resentment towards them. Were these girls friends of yours at the time, Lisa, and then something turned, or were they always enemies? No.
They were not my friends then. They became my friends. I mean, we're not friends. We're acquaintances now. But, I mean, you know, when you're 13 years old, 14 years old, I mean, you don't think about anything. You know, you're stupid. You think you know everything that you're doing. But now, I mean, all I'm saying is I don't think that... The girls should go to jail for the rest of their lives. Wait, I got another one. Did they come to you and ask for your forgiveness? Like, was there a conversation about it or did you just get over it? Definitely. You know, it was like, you know, almost 10 years later to the point where it's like, wow, I'm so sorry that that ever even happened. I appreciate the phone call. Thank you very much, Lisa. I'd say, no, I have a dent in my forehead. I have other friends. Thank you. P1 Christian. Hey, Mikey, how you doing? Good, man. What do you think? I'm good. I kind of agree with the Bernadette. Maybe not to the extent that she's taking it, but, I mean, it goes along with the lines that you were saying with consequence. You know, if you're going to be out there running your mouth and saying things, you're going to have to expect consequences. Not to say that it should have been as bad as they were, but there are consequences for your asking. Hey, listen, you certainly can't say to the...
teen that got beat up you certainly can't say to her hey listen what happened to you was really wrong and you didn't do anything wrong there so it was really terrible what happened you can't say that you just with a fair you know with a i couldn't with a fair conscience i couldn't say that i would say what happened to you was wrong should have never happened oh and by the way don't do that anymore totally there's consequence sure i'm not saying that here's the deal here's the important thing Here's the important thing. I am not saying that the consequence that you got was fair. What I am saying is that when you do things like that, the consequences are unpredictable. You cannot predict them. You never know. There's crazy people out there. There's crazy people. It's the same thing as road rage, right? It's the same thing as road rage. There has to be some sort of like, okay, did I have any part of this?
It's the whole kind of punishment didn't fit the crime. Not at all. And you did kind of commit a crime. You have to look at it like that. Yeah, it didn't fit. I mean, I think everybody agrees with that. I think everybody goes, yeah, this girl, no one deserves to be beaten like this. Except for Bernadette. Oh, wow. Wait a second, Sky. I don't know that that's really the case. No, I'm saying she thinks it. I'm not saying she should be. Oh, I thought that's what you were saying. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 570-1053. Back after this. Thank you, brother. Are you a dude? Is your favorite Bond Timothy Dalton? Then, you are not a dude. Yeah, yeah, I'm here. Talk to me about AIS.
I just wanted to tell you, you know, I called AIS and talked to a kid named Carlos out of Escondido, and they saved me like $700 a quarter on my auto insurance. $700 a quarter? Yeah. I don't know what a quarter is. That's every three months or four months? It's every six months. I don't think that's a quarter, but that's neither here nor there. All right, every six months they save you how much? $600 because I had it suspended on my record when I finally got my license when I was 25 years old. I never drove before. This guy is saving $1,200 a year by switching to AIS. Yep. That's phenomenal, dude. Yeah, I think I might go get some laser eye surgery now with that money. You should. You might as well. Hey, listen, in all seriousness, you're writing checks for so much less every month. You can use that money on yourself in a fun way. Yeah, I appreciate it. You know, it really helped me out. I was thinking about it, and I called them, and I went out on a whim, and, you know, they were really cool, and they hooked me up with a good... A good auto insurance dealer and really helped me out. That's awesome. Hey, thank you for calling. Thank you. 800-777-4247. Easy way to remember it, 800-777-4AIS. That's still finding a slow ride out of Locadia up into Solana Beach. And that westbound 56, also seeing some brake lights hanging on here. Right to Santa Fe Farms in the Carmel Valley. South 15, however, looking very nice out of Escondido. You'll find an earlier accident where a car's getting pretty much hooked up on the tow there right around Carmel Mountain Road. West 52 is fine at a Santee. The westbound 8, good to go all the way to Mission Valley. And 94 King Freeway, as you head west, there's a minor slowdown left over here in the downtown. How about you? You broke a record. That's really good. President Bush.
You should have been celebrating. Skye, what do you... In your face, Carter. Tell President Bush what we found out. Well, your current disapproval rating is at 69%, which beats the previous record of 67%, which was held by President Truman during the Korean War. Face. Okay, again. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Ashley bought a camcorder yesterday. She went to buy one. Did you get one, Ash? You got a camcorder? Yeah. Where'd you get it? You didn't get into an argument like Sean did, did you? Remember Sean went to an electronics store earlier in the week and he got into an argument with a person. Did you do that? No, but I'm really big into asking people for help when I go into stores because I don't know where to find things and I don't really know what I'm looking for, especially at Fry's to get a camcorder.
So I walk in, and I'm looking around, and this guy was walking by, and he looked like he could maybe, he was an employee. So I said, excuse me, sir, do you know anything about electronics? And my dad almost fell over laughing. That is awesome. Because I guess it's an electronics store. It is an electronics store, so I could see how, I could see that that may have been a little bit weird. You're smart. It is 8. A bear killed a trainer in Big Bear yesterday after biting him on the neck. Seattle Seahawks released former MVP Sean Alexander. Our text number, 35253. He just said, don't ask me why. I heard it. He said, don't ask me why. I heard it. Jason Billy Joe. Where did that come from, Eddie? I know it was, I remember the occasion. I don't remember what, oh, I do remember. I remember exactly what it was. Lay it. You said it to Vince, didn't you? Weren't we in, this is where I remember it. Let me tell you my memory. Okay. You're already incorrect. Do you remember in Fort Worth at some arena where they were filming a movie with Matthew Perry in it? Yes. We were there and Vance, I remember you saying to Vance,
pretending that he was a DJ and you kept saying, play some Billy Joe. That came from something else, though. What was it? When you were working nights at Rock 102, you got a call once from a teenage Hispanic girl that was requesting Billy Joel, but she kept saying, play some Billy Joe. And we thought it was hysterical and we taped it and we kept playing that back. And then she would say, play it, play it. And you kept trying to get her to say other things, but that's all she would say. That is right. Yes. I forgot about that. Years ago. That's right. Their Mexican-ness is what defines you. I've worked for KIOZ Radio. KIO. KIO. No, don't hit it yet. Huh? Not yet. Huh? Well, this is KIOZ Radio. KIO. John, no. Huh? You're missing your cue. Huh? End of the show, we do that. And I have been working here since August of 1995. That's a long time. This is a long time. Should I get a medal or something? I know. I should get a medal of freedom. A medal of release. If you could take a time machine into the future or the past, which one would you choose? Wow. I think... Easy. How is that easy? I don't know that it is. For me, it is instant.
Answer. There is no way I'd go to the future. No way. No way. No. What are you afraid of? Everything. I am afraid of everything. I'm afraid of bad news. What about the gadgets? Oh, that I would like. But, okay, if I could somehow do it without finding anything out about me or my family, I'm good. Like, if I could go into a Fry's, get into a time machine, and get out, I would elect to go to the future. If I have to just go to the future, the temptation to find out what's happening with my family would be too strong. But wouldn't you want to go to the past to meet Jesus? Because you said if you ever meet, if you could ever meet a big celebrity or a well-known figure, you'd want to meet him. But then wouldn't I have to be, I'd have to travel there. Yeah.
Because if I traveled there now, I would be in the middle of like weeds. What? If I traveled to, okay, let's say I went in the past right now and I traveled back 2008 years. Okay. Well, first of all, it wouldn't be 2008 years. However many. However many years. Okay. And so I would be here in San Diego in the middle of weeds and I'd have no way of even traveling. Oh, right, right. I'd have no way to get. to, like, the Middle East. Oh, so when you travel, you would end up exactly where you left from. Yeah. Oh, I didn't think so. Yeah. Yeah. So I can't program my time machine to go places. I think that's unfair. That's lame. I think that's unfair, though. Lame. Well, you've got to get a better time machine. That's unfair. Because I would kind of want to go to the past, too, to, like, maybe go and see who shot JFK. Yeah, scoot around. You could drive to Dallas and then you'd get in your time machine. You'd still get around then. I would go back to yesterday and stop Rob from shaving his goatee off. Rob shaved his goatee off. Here's the thing. I like it that way because that means you have to make one definitive choice. Yeah. So that means, Eddie, you can do that. If it's like that, then I'm going to the future. Well, no, no, no. You can see who shot JFK, but that's what you're deciding you want to know. So you're going to Dallas, parking on the grassy knoll.
Jumping in the time machine. I'm going to the future. You are? Yeah. And where are you going to be when you punch it to go to the future? I'll stay here. In the studio? No, no. In San Diego. San Diego. Yeah. Where would you do it from? I don't care. Wherever. I just want to check it out. I'll just walk around. Okay, let's take the rules out. You're like, I am legend. What up? Let's take the rules out. What up? What up, vampires? Now you can do anything, and it doesn't matter where you are. Then I'm going past. Because I'll go all over the place. Why don't you want to see the future? I do, but I have a lot of questions about the past. Like? All these conspiracies. I want to talk to people. So you want to be there when stuff happens. Yeah. Okay. Dude, dinosaurs. Dinosaurs, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If I can be close to the time machine so I don't get eaten. I bet they stunk. Really? Oh, dude, I bet dinosaurs stunk. They must have smelled it.
Terrible. Because, you know, I don't know if you've ever held like a large reptile, like a iguana or something. They stink. Really? Yeah, like that. And so imagine a dinosaur 50,000 times that. They only eat like leaves and stuff, you know. But they can't really clean. Like they can't get, they're so big. They can't clean their whole body. Right. And they're super gassy, bro. Yeah, that's what I heard. Brontosaurus's, hello. Hello. P1 Manny Fresh is on the line. I was going to ask you, why don't you time travel to the future, get a better time machine where you can actually pinpoint where you want to go and then go see Jesus. I like it. I like it a lot. Now, I would, you know what though? I'm thinking about that. I'd be totally messed up because I don't speak Aramaic. I wouldn't even know what he was saying. That's what he spoke. He spoke the ancient language of Aramaic. I don't know what that is. I wouldn't understand. Yeah, it's new from Calvin Klein. Aramaic. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. I want to go to the future. Because I want to go...
It's far enough in the future where they have, like, space travel. And I could ride around on a rocket ship. You're so dumb. Why does that make the job? There's Eddie, everybody. Yeah, like eight years old. Cruising around. Hold on. I changed my mind. No. I go to the past. Uh-huh. Dude. Meet Sean's mom. Okay. Okay. Become somebody's daddy. Shut up. Not funny, dude. Not funny. Why don't you practice calling Eddie dad? Come on, y'all. Why don't you practice kissing my dad? Okay, thank you. P1 Penguin's on the line. Hi, everybody. I kind of had a morbid reason why I'd want to go to the future. It's like you can go to the future and then come back to present time. Like for all those people that are close to you or whatever that pass away and you always hear people saying, I wish I would have said goodbye or I wish I would have known. You know, you can maybe even prevent something. I don't know. Oh, so morbid. I know it. I see what she's saying. What if you go to the future and find out that, you know, a piano fell out a window onto your mom or something, and then you can be like, Mom, watch out! While this song is playing? Yes. Mom! Mom! Stop falling! That is the creepiest thought ever. I love that one.
Mikey, I would go to the future. I am 34 and single heart's desire is to be married with kids. This music's appropriate, isn't it? But what if you go to the future and you find out you're not and you've been lonely all those years? That's P1 Timo. Timo, can you imagine that? You go in the future, dude, and it's the same. I'm sure they have robots for that in the future. Don't worry, T-Bone or whatever your name is. In the future, Rob still hasn't produced any of his inventions. Not one of them in the future has actually been made into an invention. Unfortunately, there is no cookie stone. Maybe not in your future. All right. You can go back 86 years and, you know, watch the Sox one. No way. Go back to 2004, dude. How about going all the way back to 2004? Sky. Just watch it again.
Sky, I think you might like this one. Scout some tickets, go to the game. What's up? Instead of getting the DVD. P1 Jason texted and said, I would go to the past and get stock in Starbucks. Oh, genius. I'm sold. Not Microsoft? No, I'm going Google. I want Google stock. You think Google's better than Starbucks? Yeah. Is it? Yeah. Well, why not go back and create Google? Come up with the idea. Oh, you create it. Well, not. I'm not that smart. You go back two years before and you go, oh, I have an idea. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. You find somebody like Sean and you go, hey, I have this idea. Let's do it. Let's do it, Eddie. Or Sky, you can do Skybox. That's right. I like it. Yeah. I'm so into that. Mikey, the future all the way. Show me flying cars, baby. P1 not safe. Not in on that. Flying cars? Come on, dude. Freaks me out. Nah. P1 Sam is on the line. Hey, this is P1 Sam. I'd go two weeks into the pass and win the lottery twice. Yeah? That'd be pretty cool. I mean, or you look at the horse races. There's going to be ramifications for that. What is it? When you change the past? Well, everything will have ramifications. Changing the future would, too. They'd have ramifications. You don't change the future. You just walk around. Yeah, but still, you're going to affect somebody. Somebody's going to, you know, run into you. Butterfly effect, bro.
Yeah, hello. Ever hear of it? Ever heard of it? Ever heard of it? 5701053, would you go in the past or future? Hello? Who's the man? Uh, Mikey? Hello? I've been talking about Johnsonville brats on the radio here for a couple weeks. And because I heard myself talking about it, I decided to make them last night. What did you make? Eddie, you're delicious. Your Johnsonville brats are delicious. You took your word for it. I did. I believe myself. Well, let me tell you. I did something crazy. I cooked up the brats and I put them in a pasta. Delicious. What kind of pastas did you make? Just like an angel hair pasta. You use like a butter, garlic, tomato, real fresh ingredients, basil. Oh, my gosh. It was wonderful. That sounds good. And you wouldn't think, you know, you know, Johnsonville brats. You can use them for just about anything. Breakfast. I want to experiment this weekend because they got different flavors. Oh, you're going to get them again? You're going to get them again? Dude, I told you once I get on something I like. Yeah. This is going to be your weekend thing? It's going to be my weekend thing. Every weekend I'm going to get them. Yeah. What are you going to do next? They got spicy ones. Oh, yeah. And I was like, that looks pretty good. Yeah, real good. Real fresh. Sweet. Yeah, full of flavor. They are absolutely the best things for a backyard cookout or middle of the week. If you don't know what you want to cook tonight, go to your local grocer, head back to that meat section, and pick up some Johnsonville brats. You were listening to The Mikey Show. One, two, three. Mikey. Being Christian was, like, really good for me. Eddie. When have I ever been overconfident? Once I'm out on somebody, I'm out. Yeah.
Sean. Hold on. You're making me sound like I'm crazy. Time out. Be Rizzle. Go me. All right. That's right. Go you. And Ashley. I'm a laughy person. The Mikey show's on. Oh, we are messed up in the head. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It is 8.59. Five of the seven major U.S. airlines will start charging if you check more than one bag. Cincinnati turns down a trade offer from Washington for Chad Johnson says they are not going to trade them. It freaks me out sometimes the topics that we'll bring up on the air that people get into. Yeah. Like phone lines blowing up, text messages, emails blowing up. You know, the debate of where would you go? Into the future or back in the past if you had a time machine? Mikey, I would go back in time and stop the Chargers from selecting Ryan Leaf. It's P1 Philly's finest. Silly. Mikey, I'd go back to the future and get a sports almanac.
Then I would bet on all sporting events and be rich. Yeah, what are you, Biff? Biff, we get it. Back to the Future 2. Exactly. Mikey, I would go back to the future to see what Bernadette's kids are like. He won the firm. I would go back in time and check out Wally World's first show. Oh, dude. Bet you it was dynamite. That would have been dynamite. Mikey, I'd travel to the past and get Mikey a He-Man doll. Oh, here we go. For those of you that don't know the story. 12, I remember it like it was yesterday. It was in the living room of my Aunt Carmen's Christmas morning. The only thing I remember about it other than, you know, the... Well, what happened was, you know, that my dad wasn't there at the time. And boy, I sure did miss him, right? So then I woke up and all I wanted that morning was a He-Man doll for Christmas, you know? And did you get it?
Yes, I did. Oh, then there you go. What a great story, though. Hang on a second, please. I got to finish this. I feel so warm inside. It wasn't that I didn't get it. I did. I got the doll. Sorry, I get choked up when I tell the story. I got the doll. What happened was she gives me the doll, my mom, and then she sits me down. She says, listen, this is the last Christmas and you will not be buying presents for others. Salt in the woods. Twelve years old. That's it? What do you mean that's it, Chad? I was 12. I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? Dude, why are you being so insensitive? That's Chad Johnson, number 85 of the Cincinnati Bengals on the line. And Chad, why are you being so insensitive to my... Well, he wants to get traded, so he's probably... Chad, I thought you were going to the Washington Redskins. Why are you... No. He's not going to the Skins? No. The Bengals turned him down. So the Skins said they wanted him, and the Bengals said, no, we're not going to let him go. Correct.
Chad, why don't you chill out on my childhood? Oh, really? Oh, really? Okay, fine. Mikey, going backward to potentially alter things and improve your presence, your present is cool, but pales in comparison to going forward and potentially vacationing in space and seeing other planets. Skye is shaking her head, no. Who would that be? No, it's all about financial gain. Oh, you're... The technology and new frontiers of the future. Hold more interest in the past, even though we all have things we wished we did in the past and could redo the opportunity to see the future beyond where you might be able to. Say 300 years. Yeah. Where no man has gone before. That's right. Ever hear of it. Ever heard of it. Imagine going forward in time, getting out of the capsule, being able to take an elevator to the moon. Fly from our moon to one of Saturn's. Travel to Alpha Centurion. No.
Oh, it sounds so boring. Oh, whatever. Oh, my God. You could do any number of things. Drink a bunch of tangs. Can't even imagine that. Not to mention smart investment. You could turn a fortune 300 to 400 years from now. You could travel forward and be one of the richest humans around. Boston Rob, what about that? Doesn't that sound good? I could travel backwards and be one of the richest people. You can go in the future and see, you know, that your inventions don't work. That is true. He'd go into the future and he'd see a lot of lawsuits. This is kind of sad news. Natalie Portman was urinated on by a dog in a park in Manhattan. Of course, the paparazzi was there to snap every moment of it. Would anyone like to... Yeah, it's a photograph. It's a photograph. Yeah, this weekend she's strolling in the park in Manhattan. She's got a little coffee. Oh, cute little dog.
Doggy kneels over to pet the doggy. The dog immediately lifts its little leg on her and uses her as a port-a-potty. Oh, that's terrible. It's terrible. Yeah. It's good times. For her performance in Star Wars Phantom Menace. Okay, come on. It wasn't that bad, was it? A little stiff. Speaking of Star Wars, Ewan McGregor says that he's been treated for skin cancer. Is he okay? Yeah. Yeah, he's got moles. Lightsabered them off? Yes, that's right. He's a fair-skinned guy and got his moles checked out and found some of them to be cancerous. I'll take care of that. And here's another one. Got that one off. There it goes. Shot a mole clean off. That wasn't your mole. In the playoffs, San Antonio takes a two-game lead over Phoenix. Wow. New Orleans beat Dallas, and the bigger news, there is a basketball team in New Orleans. Oh, wow. And Orlando beat Toronto. It's not really big news. What? Is that a new team? No, they've been there for a little while. Oh, okay. I guess at least two and a half years or something. A little bit longer than that. Longer? Yeah. Move from Charlotte, went to New Orleans.
Hurricane Katrina happened, and they had to go to Oklahoma City and play for a couple years. Oh, that's what I was thinking. And now they're back. Sky was thinking of the Oklahoma City Hornets. But then you guys are also probably thinking that the Sonics are now going to probably be moving to Oklahoma City. Now you're just showing up. And then there's no team in Seattle, and so we've got to get a team back in Seattle. You know what I mean. Yeah, I gotcha. That's it? Yes. I think that's enough. Ladies and gentlemen, there is a large-scale sobriety checkpoint happening today in San Diego County. And it will be located in Vista. Yeah, this is a big one. Of course, they're not going to give out the time or location of this, but they're bringing in forces also from Escondido, Oceanside, and Carlsbad to help out. I'm drunk. They're going to be looking for drunk drivers and also drivers who don't have a valid license. So, you know, you never should be doing that anyways, but today's a really bad day to be doing that. I don't know if you guys watched American Idol last night. Oh, man. Something real weird happened. Oh, yeah. Say that again. Something real weird. Something real weird. What? Maybe the most awkward thing I've ever seen on one of those live shows. Oh, my gosh. What? Somebody fight? Very close. Every time. Every time. It always goes back to gas. You guys know who Brooke White is? Yeah. Brooke White is the girl that's very wholesome. She's got curly hair. Sweet. Very sweet. Real sweet. Genuine. Genuine. Come on. She actually didn't believe it. She's not buying it.
Your boy's in trouble, too, so I'd be careful. You leave him alone. He had a terrible, terrible performance. You leave him alone, Eddie. Yeah, he was not good. He'll be in the bottom two. You didn't know that. I do know it. Well, the judges didn't like his performance. No. But anyway, here's Brooke White singing last night, Something Strange Happened. Cut nine. I'm sorry. I forgot the words. It was crazy. I was kind of like... Lying down, I sat up on my couch and went, whoa. Whoa. So you want to hear what the judges said? Oh, dude. Even more awkward. Oh, my gosh. Cut 10.
All right, yo, check it out, dog. Check it out. You messed up, dog. For me, I mean, this wasn't great. There were parts of it that were good once you got started. But the one thing that I did like that you did is at least you listened to Andrew Lloyd Webber because the most important thing that I think you guys can all take from this night is you need to believe what you're singing. That, I kind of got that, the vulnerability and everything for you, but vocally it was just a little tough. You must never start and stop. Whoa. Having said that, this is the biggest show and biggest platform that no matter what, you're strong enough and you're great enough as an artist to pick up the pieces. What I did love about this performance, Brooke, is you didn't overact. You just were you, and you did sing the songs. And anything that became part and parcel or broken a little bit, hopefully, was an emotional strength of yours.
And I would like to add cream cheese wontons. This is why I love live TV. I mean, it was so dramatic at the beginning. The trouble is, Brooke, it completely threw you. Because at that point, you were so tense trying to remember the song. Your voice was straining in the middle of it all that it actually became quite uncomfortable. So this is a tricky one. I think you're going to be very disappointed when you watch this back. You guys. I believe things like that work for them. Their fans feel sorry for them. And they call in because they feel sorry for them. Get him out of there. Well, if that's the case then, Jason. Looks like Jason Castro. I love him too. He's really bad. He picked one of the best Andrew Lloyd Webber songs. Ever. Why are they doing Andrew Lloyd Webber songs, man? Thank you. So lame. Made a mockery of it. One of the critiques of the judges is it's too Broadway. What? These are Broadway songs. Yes. Idiot. I expect Jason Castro to do Broadway anyway. Yeah. Crazy. Well said. Ruined memories. Make me mad. Ruined.
Well, I love him, too. How could you ruin something that sucks already? Oh, great point. How dare you? Great point. How dare you? Did you guys hear Bill Clinton's mess up? No. What? W-H-Y-Y in Philadelphia after a radio interview. Bill Clinton apparently didn't know that he was still on the line. Oh, that's the worst. Cut 19. I concede that this was used against me, but this was a conversation that occurred early in the morning. We didn't even know what the vote was going to be at the time. We were all sitting around drinking coffee. We'd just been to breakfast. And we were talking about South Carolina political history. And this was used out of context and twisted for political purposes by the Obama campaign to try to breed resentment elsewhere. And, you know, do I regret saying it? No. Do I regret that it was used that way? I certainly do. But you really got to go some to try to portray me as a racist. Okay. Well, thank you very much, Mr. President. Thank you. I hope everybody will go out and vote tomorrow. Bye-bye. You said, I don't think I should have to take any S from anyone on that, do you? Wow. And then you hear Hillary go, no, I don't think you should have that. Yeah, so that was on, what was strange was the radio interviewer not moving, like letting there be dead silence. Yeah. Because if there hadn't been, she wouldn't have heard that. You wouldn't have been able to hear that.
It's crazy. Because usually the person goes, well, there was Bill Clinton, ladies and gentlemen. Maybe it wasn't live. Maybe she was taping it to play it back later. I don't know. That makes sense. So, when we come back, Bill Clinton doesn't like a reporter's related question about the race car. Oh, no. Bill Clinton. Yeah. Wait a second, Eddie. This is the song that they play at the Red Sox games, Dirty Water. You know, the song they play at the Red Sox. Really? Good choice, Rob. Text number's 35253. Phone number's 5701053. I mean, throw things out the book. out of the car. Oh, my God. Yeah. You know what, though? You know what mellowed him out? It doesn't change it, but it does mellow him out is when he had his first son. What kind of things would he throw out of the car, ma'am? Pennies. Pennies? Wait a second. That guy's a jerk. For the NFL Draft on Saturday. And he's going to be out there with Roman Oban. Oh, lucky. And Lou Bush. When you see Roman Oban, you should just shove him. First thing when you see him, just shove him. I'll do it. You will not do it. I'll do it. You will not. He is six foot seven inches tall. I can get by him. You cannot. Eddie, stop. And if we give you 100. 10 chances. 10 chances, I'll get by them one time. That is so insulting. Roman. It is so insulting. Have you seen my pass rush moves? Eddie, it's Roman Oban. I believe you. I led my Pop Warner team in sacks, Mike. I believe you, dude. That's a true statement. But we're talking about Roman Oban. He was on the Chargers. He was the Chargers. I ended a game one time with a sack. Okay, Eddie, but you were in Pop Warner. Yeah, it was awesome. You were a child. My team, like, swarmed me. It was a great moment. Did they lift you up on their shoulders? Yeah, like Rudy. Yes. Awesome. You're Rudy. They said hip, hip, hooray. They said for he's a jolly good... Sacker. Yeah. Yeah. Bring it, Roman. Brings back bad memories when I say for he's a jolly good fellow. Oh. You guys. Hey, listen. It wasn't... Hang on a second. Bobby. Bobby.
No, it was that damn Bobby, wasn't it? Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Allie Lowen has landed a major role in an upcoming movie. That's good. I think that's what she needs. Show business. Yeah, definitely. Well, it works out so well for her sister. Yeah. And that's actually what she said. She grew up watching her sister, Lindsay, and she wanted to do what she does. So Allie will be the star of Mostly Ghostly. Sky. What's up, dude? I think she'll get an Academy Award for this picture. She can't just say stuff like that. Oh, you just wait until that comes out. She's going to get an Academy Award for this picture? No, she is not. She said that. I think she'll get an Academy Award for this picture. Oh. You're her mom. You're biased. Fox TV has just renewed. Say it. The TV series, The Terminator, The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Yeah, dude. The second season. That's what I'm talking about. That show's a bomb. It's really bad. It's a really bad show. It's a fantastic show. They've ordered 13 new episodes and say it was one of the season's most successful new shows, averaging 10.5 million viewers. I call Shotgun.
I call 9mm. Oh, boy. Oh. I call 9mm. Yeah. Ooh. Stop it. She's a robot. There's nothing more menacing. So bad. Sky really likes that show. So does Sean. Oh, yeah. I watched every episode, but I hated it. You did not, Eddie. Yeah, I did. Why? Well, I love the Terminator, you know, the story. Yeah, the franchise. I love it, but it's really bad acting. Really bad casting. You know, the plot's pretty bad. Like, all of it's bad. Are you going to watch the second season? Yeah. No, no. Well, I'm invested. Well, yeah, now you're invested. Who knows what will happen. Aaron Lewis from Stained is going to make a solo album. Cut 31. As soon as this record is done and while we're out on tour, I'll be, you know, writing and getting everything all ready to go to just track.
And it'll probably come out right on the tail end of this new stage record. The first time I ever heard this song, I remember the first time I ever heard this song. Wow. And I remember thinking to myself, there's a couple of songs that I've heard in my life where I thought, is what I'm hearing actually that good? First time that ever happened to me was with the song Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton, which I thought was a perfect song. It is. First time I ever heard it, I went, what my ears are hearing right now. is really incredible. I wonder if that's really how this sounds. And then I heard it again, and I went, yeah, it really was. Same thing with Stained. It's Been a While. First time I heard this, I thought, wow, that sounds really good. I did that with Rob's latest song, In the Bank. Yeah, In the Bank is just like that. It's the same thing that happens. Like, am I really hearing this? Is it really this good? It's a very good song. Stained is good, and the stuff that he says in there is stuff that I can relate to.
I really like Stane doing black, but Eddie thinks it's blasphemy. That's a great cover. Eddie thinks it's blasphemy that they covered it. I'm fine that they covered it, but how dare you say that it's better than the original? That's where I take umbrage, my friend. I like it. Just as good. No, no. It's a notch below. I'll say better. I do like it better. Man. Let's see. Where is it? It's like saying, oh, the Sistine Chapel is not that cool. Oh, no. The original is fantastic. It's great. It's just I prefer this one. I can't knock this. Silly. Silly. We cover Pearl Jam Black. My concert does it 20 times better than this. I heard it was 18, so I think you're exaggerating. Depends which show. The only thing that's a little off-putting to me is We actually get to see the video as we're listening to this. Aaron Lewis is wearing scuba goggles and flip-flops and a Tommy Bahama shirt, which is so weird. Why is he dressed that? And he's singing into a snorkel. It's really weird. That's good stuff. I felt that song out in my car, dude. Do you really? Oh, yeah.
Oh, I would love to hear that. Oh, I would love to hear it. Aaron Lewis is my tone, and he speaks to me. Aaron Lewis is your tone? Yeah, and he... How dare you? Come on, Ash, give us a couple bars of that. Well, I can't just do it all willy-nilly, you guys. Well, get in the mode. Guys, no one's supposed to hear me when I'm in my car. It's all right, Ash. You feel the music. It's okay. You don't have to know the words. You just have to kind of have the words. Chills. Anybody have a lighter? Somebody. Come on, somebody hold their lighter up. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. That was Ashley. Well, I'm speechless now. Me too. Yummy. Man, I love you so much. Thank you so much. Tom Cruise's adopted son is going to be making his film debut. And he's going to be playing Will Smith's son. No, he's going to be playing a younger version of Will Smith. I see.
Will Smith is the younger guy. Yes. And then when Will Smith grows up, it'll be Will Smith. But, yes. You see what I'm saying? I'm lost. Like, if there's a flashback, he's Will Smith as a boy. Yeah. Tom Cruise's son. Tom Cruise's son. That's right. Connor. His adopted son, Connor. Who is. Who is really cute. Who is. Really sweet. I've abandoned my boy! I know where you're going, Eddie. I know where you're going. He's a really good actor. Yeah. Well, that's true because Tom said he actually had to audition for the part. That is right. He wasn't just giving it. That is true. Tom Cruise's adopted son is awesome in that movie. You know what I'm getting at. He's awesome in that movie. Obviously. To be able to play Will Smith as a young person. Oh, yeah. He can also rap. Cruz's adopted son has to be a rapper. And he is. They know what they're doing. Because he is black. Oh, thank you, Skye. That's all I wanted to know. Skye finally announced it. I didn't realize that. Because he is black. Because he is black. There it is, Skye. That's the kind of chocolate I'm talking about. That's what I'm saying, too. Do you know anything about chocolate? That's the chocolate I'm talking about. Have you ever heard anything about chocolate? Do you know anything about chocolate? Nope.
When you put in context why Ray Negan was saying that, the mayor of New Orleans, he called the people of New Orleans. He said that he wanted New Orleans was always going to be a chocolate city. Do you know anything about chocolate? And they questioned him and they said, listen, that sounds so racist. We realize you're black, but you're calling your people chocolate. Can you imagine if a white person said that? They would burn that city down. Oh, are you kidding me? Eddie. Eddie. Really? We're supposed to hang out tonight. We're supposed to be friends. I apologize for my mockery. Thank you. George Bush doesn't care about black people. This is an obvious statement. I'm sorry. I apologize for... Hey, why don't you just shut up and drink your Dr. Pepper, please? Good idea. NBC has announced the celebrity cast for the show Celebrity Circus. Oh, we've been waiting. What is that? What the hell? Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure they're really big stars. It is Shannon Phoenix. Who's that? Joaquin Phoenix's little sister. Oh, wow. It's huge. I'm going to get her. Yeah, I'll set that on my TV. Also, Tina McGregor. Who's that? Ewan McGregor's half-sister. It's not that cool. Also...
Johnny Cyrus. Who's that? Someone related to Miley Cyrus. And finally, Jonathan Smith. He's an unknown. Oh, well, that's really disappointing. Yes. What is Celebrity Circus? What is that? Sean's favorite show, first of all. If it involves a circus, he's in. Potentially. Of course, it's going to be hosted by Joey Fatone. Of course it is. I thought it was Joey Fatone. No, it's pronounced Fatone. It's just spelled Fatone. But when you actually read it, it's Fatone. Yes, it will be, quote, celebrities learning circus tricks like the high wire, the trapeze, fire dancing. I don't care about that. Who? Calm down. Okay. Muttling.
Probably good. Yeah, guy that produced the Def Leppard album. He's the first celebrity. Guy that played Dr. Smith on Lost in Space. Yes, he'll be on it. Danny Pintaro. Those celebrities are bigger than the ones on the show. The chick that played Mona on Who's the Boss. Mike Lookinlin. Our people, Eddie. The lead singer of Sheriff. Wow. Is that really a fan? Dude, when I'm with you, hello. It's only the most gorgeous song ever. Sorry, Shauna. Patrick Duffy. Yes. He'll be on it. Okay. You want more? No. I'd rather just read the list of the celebrities. Who? Christopher Knight. Dude, you weren't far off. I wasn't that far off. And he said Mike Lickenland, who played Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. He played Bobby. He played Bobby. Son. Bobby. Thank you.
Christopher Knight played Peter Brady. Yeah, pick Christopher Knight played Peter. Wow, that's awesome. We also have Antonio Sabato Jr. Get out of here. That guy's still around. Blue Cantrell. That is Jerry Cantrell's brother. Who is Blue Cantrell? Only a Grammy-nominated singer. For real? Look in the system. Do you know, Ash? Have you ever heard of Blue Cantrell? Never. No, come on, Sky. You can't make names up. Serious. Really? What song does it sing? Well, just search under Blue Cantrell. All right, let me find some. Let's see. Is it a boy or a girl, Sky? I don't know. I think it's a chick. Is that the one who does the song? The blue song? I don't know. There's nothing in here called Blue Cantrell. Oh, that's right. That's Eiffel. I don't know any of this. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It's B-L-U. Well said. Well, thanks for telling me now. Never heard of him. Never heard of him. Grammy nominated? Nothing in here by Blue Canada. I don't know any of this. Rob Bounce-out. Rob Bounce-out. I got it up. It's called Hit Em Up Style. It's in your head. Oh, that's right. Hit Em Up Style. That's right. Where is it? That's right. Well, you'll recognize it, guys. Yeah. Hit Em Up Style. I like it.
I liked that. That's cool. Yeah. So also on the list is Wee Man and Rachel Hunter. Enjoy. Wee Man is hot. I'm in on that. Wee Man is hot. Yeah, he's hot. You would not, Ashley. You would do that one again. Well, I did, but if I was single before I was single. You would not. No, you wouldn't. Are you going to allow her to say that she would go out with the wee man? No, I don't think I'd go out with him. Is that not what she's saying? Ashley. He's hot. Does anyone have any Purell for your ears? Great show, everybody. Great show. Hey, check this out. Oh, and some sand for the floor. Coronas, chips, sand, that's it. Limes are covered. Okay. Oh, and if you have any pinatas, bring those. Coronas, chips, sand, pinatas, no limes. And if you don't mind, can you also bring a mariachi band?

Text numbers 35253. Don't forget, tomorrow morning, 7 a.m., Eddie and B. Rob competing outside of the radio station. They're going to be competing in two events. They're competing in bocce ball and horseshoes. And a goatee contest. That is right. I think you're going to win that one. I think I'm going to win. Eddie's already won. The thing is, is that Boston Rob cut his... goatee off yesterday without consulting anyone from the show. That's crazy! And when he came in this morning, I told him what was going to happen. I said, Eddie and Skye are going to have a hard time with us. They freaked out. They did. That's tough for him. Skye, I think, has taken it the hardest. And now they hate me. That is true. Skye has not looked at him. No, I can't. It's difficult, right? It's hard. It's distracting, and it's also a little uncomfortable because it changes everything. It's like a stranger. Yeah, it's like a stranger. Because it's like when you're with a friend, you can look a friend in the eye and talk to them, but when you're with a stranger, you don't immediately make eye contact. You've got to get to know them. Yeah, it's like too personal. I really want to get him a mustache comb. That's right. And just have him always be...
brushing his mustache. I think so, too. You had that same thought? I was just thinking that, because when I looked at him, I thought he was Tom Selleck from Magna P.I. Thank you, Mike. It reminds me of Ron Burgundy. Yeah, that, too. But it's not very thick. No, it's kind of inscribed, right? Yeah, and I shaved most of it off. Yeah. You did not. Okay, you're right. I'm staring at you. What did you think, Ash? Do you like it? I hate it. Why? Why? Come on, why? If he had to shave it, I wish he would have shaved the mustache too. I think just the mustache, because it is so scraggly and like... Yeah, Rob, why not go clean shaven? I trimmed up the mustache. I know, but why leave a mustache? Don't you find it interesting that he cut off that goatee and didn't shave? That is true. He didn't do that. No, I trimmed. I didn't do the full shave. Rob, will you consider taking the mustache away? I've done that before. Okay, but right now your thought is, listen, either Magnum, you're going Magnum, or you're going Ron Burgundy. Hey, everybody, come see how good I look. Did you do that after you were done, Rob? I like it. Did you do that after you were done? Yeah, I did. I think it looks good. We've got to get a picture of it on the website. Yes. We've got to get somebody from promotions to come down here and take a picture. Yes. Take a picture.
Mikey Show. Oh, get Jay on the line, Ash. Oh my goodness. Yeah, Jay. His name is Jay Isbell. He's approximately 22 years old. I don't think he's of age yet. Take a look at him. He's a very young man. Never heard of it. Julia Roberts does not use deodorant. No. She doesn't. She doesn't put it on. Stop this. Some people choose not to. So you're telling me after she took that bath in Pretty Woman, she didn't put deodorant on? Did you see her put deodorant on? I didn't. I'll bet you it's a new thing. I'll bet she's been doing this like the last three years or something. She heard McConaughey? Yep. It's one of those green deals. What is it about, Skye? Well, she was on Oprah yesterday. I believe we actually have the audio of her talking about the reason why she needs to take a listen. Well, I think it's better for her. Don't do this. Do you use a little magic roll on deodorant? I don't actually use deodorant. I don't like to share that with a large number of people. But it's just never been my thing. At all? No. God, and you always smell so good. Thank you. Yeah, you do. Thank you. Now, some people have said that, and they don't. And they should be using deodorant or something. Well, I would think as a good friend, though, if I shared that with you, you'd say, you might want to rethink that. But you don't like you never do. That's right.
But sometimes midday at work, I freshen up. What do you do? Take a horse bath. What? Say all my movie secrets. That's great. You don't use the odor for this reason? For the aluminum thing? I'd like to say yes. No, I don't know why. There's no reason? And she said, too, it's never been her thing. She has to smell. That's what I was saying. That's what I was thinking. In the summertime, there's no way she can't stink. She has to smell. She has to. It's impossible. She's human. She's not an android. And what do you guys think? Well, an android doesn't smell. They do smell? Well, Sean would know. Sean, do androids smell? No, they don't. Well, Sean, I just was mad. You're an android expert. I don't like these stories, dude. What's up? Gross.
Yeah, he's upset that she wanted to hug you. She's Julia Roberts. I have a question for you guys. I don't know how things work on movie sets, but say you're doing a movie and you obviously have to wear the same costume day after day. Do they clean that costume every day? No way. I'll guarantee you they do not. So she's putting her sweaty BO costume on day after day. Okay, here's what I bet. I'll bet they have a couple of them. Okay. But I bet you they do not get them cleaned. I bet they don't. Oh, I wish we could have somebody in our audience that works in Hollywood. A costume designer? Yeah. They're under those hot lights all like 12 hours at a shot. Shooey. I want to talk to one of her co-stars and be like, hey. Hey, guy. Did she smell? Pee yuck. Pee yuck. You know she did, dude. Richard Gere, did she smell? Yes. She did? She did. Like, you know. oily, you know, that oily B.O. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. Yes, sir. How you doing? Good. This is P1 Hot Dogger. What's up? My girl, she doesn't wear deodorant and her feet don't stink and her armpits don't stink. No. Why does she not wear deodorant? Because it just, I don't know. Can I ask you this? It's uncomfortable. She doesn't sweat and it doesn't smell. Let me ask you this, though.
Let me ask you this. Does she shave her armpits underneath her armpits? Yes. Why does she tell you she doesn't wear deodorant? Because it doesn't work for her. She doesn't have to wear it because she doesn't stink for her. Oh, that's why she doesn't wear it. She says, I don't need it. She doesn't have sweat glands or what? It's impossible. Guys, think about it, though. If Ashley has overproductive sweat glands, isn't it also possible that somebody would have underproductive sweat glands? Well, yeah. Okay. So. Uh-oh. Eddie's. Come on, dude. Work it out. Work it out, dog. People sweat. Yes. It's natural. And when you sweat, that produces an odor. Yeah. Unless, Eddie. What? You do not have productive sweat glands. And they cannot produce. But then how does your body cool itself? It has a hard time. Oh. Maybe that's a deal. Listen, dude, your girlfriend must have a hard time cooling herself down, right? Does she get hot? No, no. She does good. She goes to the gym and sweat, but it just doesn't stink. No. I have a theory. I have a theory. I have a theory. Here we go. I have a theory. Yes. She stinks. He's used to it.
That's a legitimate theory. He's desensitized to it, and he doesn't realize she stinks. I ask you, bring your girlfriend to the studio, and I will be honest. I will not be mean. You can't fake the funk. I will not be mean, but I will be honest. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. If you bring her here, I will smell her armpit. If it smells, I will be honest with you. The only thing that you must promise me is that we will have secret with us. And if she does smell, she must put it on. Thank you. Hang on the lines. I'll be honest. Maybe she doesn't. Check it out, Mike. Maybe it takes for her to work out. You're going to smell a stranger's pit. I'm not going to die. Let us know. I'm not going to die. I'll be over here. Mikey Show. Hi, Crash. My uncle works in Hollywood. He writes for The Flavor of Love. Wow. He's done movies. Tell him, great job. Yeah, tell him, Tim and Awesome, great job. Tim and Eric Awesome. Tim and Awesome, great. Eric. No. Have him call us. Okay. Can you do that? Can you do that? I can try. All right, thank you. Okay. I don't want to take the nephew's word for it. I don't think he knows enough. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, how are you? I'm good, how are you?
Good. I have a little bit of tidbit information for you guys about the whole stinky armpits thing. Please. Well, so the smell comes from bacteria. It doesn't necessarily come from the inside of your body. People who have really clean dyes don't always smell. Like a raw Buddhist, a lot of them don't have any scent to their BO at all. They still smell, but there's no correlation between the smell and the sweat. I don't think that's... I respectfully disagree. I believe I've heard this on the television. But I think that... Yeah, I believe her, not you. I think the deal. Sweat has fat in it. Well, yeah, again, going back to the diet. Yeah, it goes to the diet. If you eat really, really clean and you eat healthy and you don't drink, most of the time you're not going to smell. Like some people smell really fat and they don't even need to sweat. But I eat fat people. Oh, wow. Oh, that's tasty. Yeah. I had a Crisco burrito this morning. It's all gay. All the way. The Mikey Show is on. Rock 105. Thank you. All right, repeat after me. The garage is my castle. The garage is my castle. Damn straight. It is not a walk-in closet for wife stuff. It is not a walk-in closet for wife stuff. It's a place for car stuff.

She stunk like onions. Well, she reeks of onions. I do not. Too high. Whose solo career was better, Don Henley or Glenn Frey? That's easy. Yeah. Don Henley. Easily. But I love Glenn Frey. I love Glenn Frey. Of course. The heat is on. The heat is on. I own the street. You hear that? That was really good, Eddie. Thank you. It's a remix. What about me? Uh-huh. Scott, really good. You too. Thank you. Really good, you too. Oh, calm down. Yeah, play it, Mike. Well, I don't want to play a depressing one. That's the deal. Play it, Mike. Don Henley.
All she wants to do is dance. Oh, yeah, she does. Dirty laundry, bro. Oh, yeah. Dance, Sean. Is this Wang Chung? No. Oh, that's what I'm talking about. By some Timothy B. Smith. That was the bass player for the Eagles. He had a good song, though. He sees one song. He does have one song. Which one? Which Eagles song does he sing, Mike? He sings... Wikipedia. No, no, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wikipedia. It's... I forget. It's good, though. It's the one that goes... Yeah, that one. Seth. I'm looking. Timothy B. Smith. Look at us, baby. Is that it, Mike? Yeah, that one. Up all night. Mm-hmm. Tearing our world apart. Look at an angel. Should have something. Yes. Should have something.
What is it, Zed? Let's see. Long Road out of Eat No. Come on. Zed! I'm sorry. Well, the reason that it's not listed is because it is an Eagles song, but he sang it. Love Will Keep Us Alive. Yeah, he did sing that. Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He did sing that. And I can't tell you why. Yeah, that's what I was trying to think of. I always thought this was a girl singing this song. I thought it was a beach. You're not false. He does. The day that he had back then. There it is. A smooth. Here's one more from him. Now, this is when they were in their 70s. They were playing things at each other. They kind of swing. You're an oak tree. That's sweet. Mikey, I think you're kind of a poster. A poster? Yeah, a poster. A poster? Yeah. You look like a supermodel is what he means. I can take that as a compliment. Dude, no joke. Ashley needs to shut the hell up with her laugh, dude. I got you. I got you. I hope it. I know it can be obnoxious.

That's his chin talking. Yeah, oh. But... I think you have a lot of hate in your heart. We'll miss you. No, no, you know what? I used to be a big fan, but you just putting down Mexicans constantly is just getting... Oh, you want to pose it? Yeah. How do you do that? Now, is that why you called me a poster? I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. That's kind of why I called you a poster, bro. I mean, don't you have a little respect for your parents that brought you to this country, dude? You're lying. You're lying. You're lying. You're lying. You're lying. You're lying. Hey, man, let me tell you something. Shut up. Sean hates shoelaces. I'm boycotting the show, too. My bad. Hey, dude, you know what? You're only mad because they didn't have quesadillas half off yesterday at Rubio's. It was solid fish taco night. Yeah, dude. The only reason you're mad is because Alberto's had half off on horchata. Why would that make him mad? How come that would make you mad? You should be happy, dude. Sean is mad at shoelaces. I'm out. I'll see you guys.
Sean, don't do it. Don't hate, Sean. Don't hate. Yeah, don't hate like this guy. Don't even know what she's singing about, Mike. Oh. Wow, he got you there. I know what she's singing about.
