The show helped Marla publicize her missing rescue dog, raved about Iron Man, and debated whether fugitive Susan LaFavre's decades as a law-abiding mother should reduce the prison time she still owed. Paula Abdul's impossible critique of an unsung American Idol performance triggered arguments about impairment and producer responsibility, while David Blaine's record attempt inspired a studio contest that Zeth unexpectedly won. Miley Cyrus's Annie Leibovitz portrait produced a sustained argument about art, sexualization, and parental responsibility, culminating in a combative call from Rachel about bikini photos of her 15-year-old daughter. The cast also challenged Ashley's contradictory claims about Mexican food and vegetarianism, questioned Dr. Phil's involvement in bailing out an accused teen bully, and got practical advice for securing a cardiac stress test for Mikey's father.
What happened, in order
Rescue dog missing after four hours
Marla asked listeners to find a skittish newly rescued Jack Russell that escaped in Santee while still wearing fresh neutering staples and needing medication.
Iron Man wins over everyone
Eddie and Sky called Iron Man nearly perfect, praising Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, the backstory, humor, and action while stopping a caller from spoiling the sequel setup.
The fugitive Carmel Valley mom
The show unpacked how Susan LaFavre escaped a Michigan prison in 1976, became Marie Walsh, raised a family in Carmel Valley, and was arrested after an anonymous tip more than three decades later.
Punishment or rehabilitation
Caller Brad asked whether LaFavre's law-abiding life proved rehabilitation, while Eddie argued that letting an escapee avoid prison would undermine punishment and encourage other fugitives.
Paula judges a song from the future
Paula Abdul critiqued Jason Castro's nonexistent second American Idol song, then confused his notes with David Cook's, prompting debate over impairment, scripted judging, and producer responsibility.
The studio breath-holding tournament
Inspired by David Blaine's planned record attempt, the cast staged breath-holding contests in which Ashley beat the older hosts before Zeth unexpectedly outlasted her and Boston Rob.
Dr. Phil's bailout admission
The hosts said Dr. Phil effectively admitted his show helped bail out a teen accused in a filmed group beating, contradicting the earlier suggestion that a low-level producer acted alone.
Ashley invents partial vegetarianism
Ashley claimed an allergy to all Mexican food and called herself a partial vegetarian despite eating meat and fish, sending Eddie into an exasperated breakdown as the cast challenged her logic.
Rosie defends the Miley portrait
Rosie O'Donnell defended Annie Leibovitz's sheet portrait of 15-year-old Miley Cyrus as beautiful, while Mikey and the cast argued that artistic intent did not answer why the suggestive image was appropriate.
Rachel's modeling argument erupts
Caller Rachel defended taking bikini photographs of her 15-year-old aspiring model, insisting parents cannot control perverts, while Mikey and other callers argued that parents can control what images they create and dis
Fighting for a cardiac stress test
After Mikey described his father's recurring chest pain and an unaffordable out-of-network test, medical-billing caller Jamers explained how to demand a Kaiser stress test or an in-network cardiology referral.
Sean TV discovers Perry Mason
Sean enthusiastically summarized and played Perry Mason while Mikey and Eddie mocked the ancient dialogue, only to perk up when Mason exposed the murder plot in court.

We'll be right back. Oh, baby, please
Please, please don't leave me Don't leave me Oh, baby, please Oh, baby, please Oh, baby, please Welcome to the show. It is Wednesday.
It's April 30th. And it's nice to be here. It is 6-0-7. A Carmel Valley mom was arrested after she was found to be a fugitive who escaped from a Michigan prison camp 32 years ago. Greg Maddox comes up short again to get win number 350 as the Padres lose to the Phillies 7-4. What would you like to talk about? It's up to you. Call in about whatever you want to talk about. And just for the benefit of those that are listening right now,
that are not that familiar with the Mikey show. I just want to remind you, seven people on the show. Myself, I'm the host of the show. My name is Mikey. My actual birth name is Michael. Never gone by that, except through when my mom was angry, she would say Michael through gritted teeth. And you knew she was upset if she said Michael. Did you guys get called anything? Let me introduce real quick, and then I'll ask that question. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. He's 35. This guy's 30. She's our news girl. She's having an extraordinarily good hair day. In fact, it may be, Eddie, you have to agree with that.
How do you like the tendril? Yeah, it was an accident. She has like the cool curly tendril down in front of the face. I think she looks beautiful today. What do you think about that, Sky? I say thank you to both of you. Well, you're very welcome. Nice of you to say. Let's see. Sean is our sound effects guy. And yeah, he's wearing a Hawaiian shirt. That's not true. Having a great shirt day, Mike. But he doesn't wear Hawaiian shirts. No, he doesn't. I think that maybe Boy Blender stand with him. Is that a deal?
I don't know. Is he on vacation? Yeah. He's actually doing the show from Tahiti today. Is he coming to my wedding? Ah, that could be it. Oh, okay. Well, that's what he wore to my wedding. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought that was a perfect attire. Okay. I think it looks handsome. Sharp. No, it's a problem. Sharp. Uh-oh. No, no, no. I didn't know. Nothing yet. No, I don't think anybody's saying that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Okay, thank you, thank you, Sean. And then Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24, and she has blonde hair, brown eyes,
and she does a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff. She's very young, and she's a sweet girl. Then you have Boston Rob. 25 years of age, engaged to be married, nice kid. Letting his hair grow back out. Yeah, well, he cut it really short, like down to the nub. And now he's letting it grow out. And we, you know, where it goes, nobody knows. And speaking of, you know, cutting of the hair, Roosevelt, Zethion, Oates, the third junior Esquire. Yeah, that's true, Mike.
Well, the third junior? Yeah, it's the third junior they've had. Wow, that's impressive. Yeah, they have one, and then they're like, you know what, I want a junior, too. Oh, okay. And you're like, well, fine, then you're the third. Oh, wow. So there he is, and he is 23 years of age. That's it? Yeah, he's little. Little. A baby. Zeth, before you started working on The Mikey Show, what did you want to do when you grew up? Oh, it changed a lot when I was, like, younger.
You know, the normal kid stuff, the football player, the astronaut, fireman, stuff like that. Did you have, there was not one that was real, like, this is the one I really want to do? No, not really. Oh. There's a lot of people that are in their 30s feel that way. Oh, yeah. They're still not sure what they want to do, really. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and the end of every show. And we encourage your phone calls. Did your parents call you anything out of anger other than your name? Yes.
Eddie? He says jerk. No, my mom, I knew she was really mad when she would use my full first name and mill name. So it would be Edward Matthew. Oh, man. You knew it. Head for the hills. Get that sinking feeling. That's what would happen. I would get that sinking feeling like, man, I know the next five minutes of my life are going to be awful minutes. And it would be from the other room. And so you'd know, you'd be like, is there any way I can escape? Something where I can hide?
No. I think I also had sort of a subconscious thought of whatever it is. Is it really that bad? Because I wasn't capable like of too much, you know. I mean, based on the sound that she made through the gritted teeth, the thing that would have been appropriate for that sound is without her knowledge, I gave away the family's bank account and trust funds without permission and sold the vehicles without permission. And then took all the money and burned it in a big, you know, bonfire.
I did that once. See, that's why you got me in trouble. Edward Matthews. She said Edward Matthews. Good luck, girl. Sky? No. Sky Esha! No, well, I know this is going to come as a shock, but I rarely got in trouble as a child. Lucky. You're so lucky. The very few times my mom did raise her voice, there was one time where it took her, she finally figured out my name on the fourth try. First she called me my brother.
First she called me one of our cats. Then she called me the other cat. And then she finally found my name. That I've not. She was so frustrated. That's funny. Yeah, she goes, Joey, Rocky, Tiger. It's just teasing about it to this day. My mom did it all the time. Because I got three brothers, so she would go through the... Yeah, right. And you know what was funny? She would go through all of them, which is so strange. Like, you'd think that you would go through one or two. Right. And then recognize it. And then go... I've said three names now.
I'll get to it. Yeah. So you were always last. I was always last. Yeah, I don't bring anything. Don't you dare. Oh, no. Please. Unreal. It's my childhood music. John, you knew what you were doing. Oh, listen, it's what it is, my childhood music. Wow, that sounds sad. Yeah, last name to be, last name to be mentioned. Yeah, it's just, well, I'll tell you what's all the more sad is that there's a lot of people on the radio. They mentioned their childhood.
They're like, hey, all right. I don't know about that. Let's talk about my childhood. It was great. Mom loved me. We used to surf together, me and mom. Wow. That sounds like a lot. And then me. Not so much. There's a big difference. No, there's a difference. There's a difference in it. A little bit. But what are you going to do is what I say. What are you going to do? You're going to push forward. Is that what you're going to do? That's right. One day at a time. One day at a time. Let go, let go.
You know, how about that one? Yes. I love that. And then there's... Your mom is such a saint. Eddie, I don't... She really is. She's a sweet woman. She's a sweet woman. I can't even imagine. I think you're just fooling us. Eddie, you know better than me. That one takes a toll when he says that one. I know it. Well, she's so sweet. Yeah, you know, speaking of that, the sweet, I remember this one time. Yeah? Where I lost this Cub Scout pin I had. oh not this again i haven't heard this one what happened what happened oh man well i got uh
i got it all right right up against the dining room table well what does that mean i had to hold on to the dining room table that was the what happened was the drill. Hold on to the dining room table and prepare for your punishment. What happened? The belt, you know, Eddie, you know the belt would come out, you know, and you take a few lashings. Take a couple of... But it sounded like it was an accident. Get flogged. Cain.
Yeah. A little Taiwanese guy would walk into the room. It was really terrible. Awful. So, what would she say? You were about to tell us what your mother would call you. She would call you all the different names. Looks like I haven't turned off my cell phone today. Is that a text message? Text message. Hello. Text message. Three, five, two, five, three. That's right. Oh, it says, from the Mikey show. Mikey is rambling about his mother again.
You probably shouldn't have left. This is very nice. I'm going to have to take him off the list. P1 Marla? Hi, Mikey. Hey, what's up? I'll try to get through this without losing it. Okay. We lost our dog last night. Uh-oh. I just put a dog down a couple weeks ago. Where did you lose your dog? In Santee. I live off prospect. He is a Jack Russell. He's very skittish. Well, they all are, Marla. Yeah. Those Jack Russells are nuts. I know.
We just picked him up from the rescue about four hours prior to him getting out of the yard. He has stitches from being neutered. He needs medication. So he needs to go to the vet. Uh-oh, Eddie, come on now. All right, now let me ask you, what area? Give me the exact area so people can be on the lookout, Eddie. I live on Ian Way Off Prospect. It's between Cottonwood and Cuyamaca. Okay. Well, if anybody's listening, and they're in that area, and they see a crazy Jack Russell running around. He's wearing a little black collar.
Is he microchipped? No, we just got him. Okay, all right. What does that mean, Ashley? Well, what normally happens is they microchip. Whatever that is. The dogs. Eddie, it kind of hit Eddie's phone with the microchipped. So, there's a little chip inside their, I believe, neck. Yeah, my cats have it, too. Okay, cool. And so you can track them. Didn't microchip. Do they microchip every animal now? Yeah, they're supposed to. How come this?
Well, if you get them from, you know, like a rescue service. But if you buy them from a pet store, then they won't. No, we bought them from El Cajon Animal Rescue. They don't microchip them prior. They microchip them after. We obviously were planning on doing it. Right, yeah, you're going to lose them within four hours. Right, yeah, that sucks. I have two little girls that are devastated. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Hey, well, listen. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Marla. Marla, it's only been four hours? No, we lost him last night. We only had just picked him up.
We had him for four hours. When did you lose him last night? What time was the last time you saw him? About 8.30, 9 o'clock was the last time we saw him. And the last time we saw him was when we were out looking for him. We did see him on Cottonwood. Oh, you did. And we tried to get him, and he ran under a fence. Yeah, they're fast little guys. So anybody, please, I'm offering a reward. All right, listen. I'm sick. Marla. Yeah? Marla. Yeah? How far away do you live from where you got him? We got him, we picked him up in Rancho San Diego, but he was with Foster, he was with a foster home, so I'm not sure where they were fostering him at.
Okay. And how far away is, uh, you might want to find that out. Dogs have this weird thing. Yeah. Yeah. We had a dog and we moved and, and we were transferring the dog to the place that we moved, which was a long ways away. And as soon as the, and my mom got into a car accident and when the car and the car got mangled and the, and it got so mangled that the car opened up and the dog jumped out of the car and went all the way back to the house that we had moved from. And that's what she was in the process of doing. So sometimes the dogs,
they just instinctively, they know how to get back. I'm hoping if anybody sees him, I mean, it's very, he has fresh staples from being neutered. So I'm scared that he's going to be All right, well, I don't know what, I don't know how to get the two together. Maybe if somebody finds them, they just call us. Yeah, please. And have Rob get her. I don't have a lot of money. Don't worry about, listen, don't worry about it, Marla. There's not going to be a reward. If one of our listeners is listening and sees your dog, they'll do it out of the goodness of their heart. He was a rock, and I know they would return my dog if they're listening.
I understand. Okay, well, I'm going to put you on hold. We're going to get your information. Okay. And then if we can help you out, we will. Okay, thanks, Mikey. Thank you very much. Well, there is a something. I mean, come on. All right. Hey. Come on, everyone. We're going to do our best to get back to Jack Russell Terrier. That's all I'm saying. Do our best. Maybe there's a P1 that's listening out there that sees a dog, and they'll call us up, and we'll put the two back together. I bet there is. There probably is. Got a lot of listeners. P1 Leonidas is on the line.
Hey, good morning, guys. What's up, Leonidas? Hey, I was calling to see how the Iron Man movie premiere went last night. Oh, let's talk about it. Eddie, what do you... Talk about it. Let's talk about it. I see this. Okay, who saw it on the show? Eddie? Sky? Me and Sky. Okay. We have not discussed our feelings on the movie. Oh, wow. I love it when you do this. No, we have not. Oh, wow. Not even with each other. No. I'm nervous. Yes, I like it. Okay. I felt Iron Man... My eyes are darting between the two of them right now.
Yeah, I can't pick. I can't decide. I don't know who to look at when he says it. Go ahead, Eddie. Was? Yes. Nearly perfect. Oh, yes! Wow! What? I concur. Oh, my God! Best movie ever. Not even first. Best movie ever. Best movie ever. And I went into this movie not knowing anything about Iron Man. I didn't even actually want to go, but my husband wanted to go so bad. I loved it. I loved it. What? It was the bomb. It was the bomb.
Crazy good, dude. Really? Yeah. Crazy good. Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me. You know, they pleased me, which I'm, you know, a hardcore comic fan, and I think they did the job for people who know nothing about Iron Man, know nothing about comic books, could care less about comic books. They just made a great movie. Yeah. And they covered all the back story of Tony Stark and how he became Iron Man. And then all the action with Iron Man in the suit was, like, beyond awesome. It was crazy good, dude. Great acting.
The cast was killer. Yeah. I loved it was set in modern day. I love that. I was sketched out about Gwyneth Paltrow being in it. She was awesome. She didn't overact or anything. The action was perfect for me because it was great action, but they didn't drag it out. Like in Transformers, how those action scenes went on for like ever and ever and ever. No, this was perfect. There were like laugh out loud, funny moments. You know, the whole theater was laughing. Robert Townley Jr. was incredible. Delish. I love that guy. Dude, he was incredible.
Awesome. Yeah, I think when I first saw the thing, I said, I think I want to see it just because of him. Yeah. And you're saying he's great. Incredible. My wife loved it. Wow. Loved it. And so I'm like, women love it. I loved it. Oh, I got to go now. It was like. I got to go. Why don't we just go right now? I'm in. Well, it's not out till Friday. I am in. Then let's go. I am in. Let's go, guys. I am in. What do you want to do? You rocked my life. Thank you. So good. P1 Elroy was there, agrees with Eddie, saw the movie. Oh, man.
That was one of the best movies I've ever seen. And I took my boy to the contest yesterday morning, actually, before school. And we watched you guys. And I think he's in love with Ashley now. He's six years old. And he wanted to say that his P1 nickname is P1 Short Round. Yes! Oh, you're so cute. He was too shy when he saw Ashley. But we went to see the show last night. We got there at 5 o'clock and there was already a line. And, Eddie, what did you think about how they set it up for the next Iron Man?
Dude, Iron Man 2, because now that they got rid of all the backstory and everything, we know who Iron Man is. Iron Man 2 is going to be the bull! The bull! The bull! Yeah, well, like that scene where they show his... No, no, don't do the thing! Don't do the thing! I know exactly what you're going to say. Don't do the thing! I know exactly what you're going to say, and do not say that. Hang on. People are free. Hang on just a second. Hang on just a second. Sean, please let this guy know not to do that. Sean, you're a Bob, Bob. Sean, you're left off.
Thank you very much. For the benefit of our listeners that are just tuning in right now, I just want to make sure, Sean, can you just let this guy know don't do that. Please don't give away the plot line. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. It means a lot to me. Thank you very much. All right. Thank you for the call. Wow, that was close. Thank God I stepped in, Mike. Thank goodness for that. Yeah, and actually when we were on our way out to the car last night, I found a little note under my windshield.
You did? Yes, I did. Was it a love note? Your husband is really amazing. That's sweet of him. Yeah, it was on an Island's Coaster. Island's Coaster, okay. You know, the Island's Restaurant is right there in the same, and it just said ham all over it, and it said love the show, love you, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham. Ham, ham, not ham's good. Make you hungry? Did you mistakenly try to eat the coaster? Yeah, or lick it or something.
Thinking it was ham. Did you scratch it and smell it? Get some ham. Hilarious. This isn't working. It doesn't work. It smells like a coaster. It doesn't even smell right. Oh, get the ham scratcher out. Now I have to have mine. Where's the ham lick? That ham's good. Yeah, that's great. This guy really likes ham, for those of you that don't know. Well, I want to see this movie now. Yeah, you have to. It's a must. It sounds really good.
I predict it will make the second most money this summer. Really? Next to Indiana Jones. Indiana? Yeah. You know, I was thinking about it, and I think I was five years old when I saw a movie for the first time, and it actually meant anything to me. So I'm wondering how long is it going to be with Jake before I can take it? You know, because movies come out like this and I go, man, I wish I could take my boy the movie because I love movies. Yeah, what was good about Iron Man, too, is that it wasn't like the action and violence I don't think was over the top. There was nothing bloody really about it.
You know, I really think you could take most kids. I mean, obviously, you know, your kids, but it was cool, man. And since he's, like, a playboy, of course, there's, like, some sexual references, but only adults will get them. You know, they're very veiled, and, you know, so it's, yeah, a kid would love that. What about, like, the overall language? Was there a lot of profanity? I don't remember, really. I don't think there was any. I don't remember any. That's awesome. That's cool. Yeah. Let's see. Our phone number here is 570-1053. When we come back, we're going to give you the whole story on what's going on with this Carmel Valley mother.
I mean, and she looks like your typical just, you know, suburban, suburban housewife. I mean, fits it to the T and she was a wanted fugitive. No. It's like a movie. It's like a movie. That's crazy. Right here in San Diego. San Diego has been in the spotlight. And so anyway, we're going to do that when we get back. Heck of a show for you today. We've got a real good show for you today. Going to fill you in on this P1 sticker strike because I want to make sure that we get tons of people out there. And what I mean by that is we already know we're probably going to do some good work on that 15 that day.
I hope so. And so we just want to make sure of that. Our text number is 35253. And we're going to do something on the air today called Sean TV. Sean, he's watching his TV. Sean. Hey, Sean. This is where Sean watches a TV show, and he gets the opportunity to tell you about the TV show. It's usually a show we've never heard of before. You probably have heard of this one, Mike. Uh-oh. No, no. I know exactly what it is then.
I mean, this is an old show. You may have heard of this one. Better not be panicked. All right, and then let me tell you, do you guys know what? I can't promise it. I don't think there's anybody listening right now that is not familiar with the phrase water cooler talk. You know what water cooler talk is? What are people at the office today when they go to the water cooler to get a glass of water? What are they talking about while they're milling around there? And I'm going to tell you what a big piece of water cooler talk today is going to be. and that is Paula Abdul's behavior last night on American Idol.
And I mean, when I say who's going to be talking about it, I don't mean just American Idol fans. I mean like your grandparents and your 14-year-old and everybody will be talking about it. The first thing I did this morning was ask Skye and Ashley, did you see it? Did you see it? Because it's crazy. So we will, and at some point, I've been saying this a while, at some point will the producers of American Idol intervene and say, well, you know, enough is enough.
We're a little concerned. We're a little concerned. And so we have the audio of what happened last night. We'll play that for you. And, of course, this Miley Cyrus thing is still big. And so we'll be talking about that. Let's take a quick time out, and when we come back, we'll give you the full-on explanation of the fugitive mom. Even audio of her behind plexiglass talking on one of those Las Colinas prison phones. It's all coming up next.

I do my part to help global warming. On Rock 105.3. Hi, welcome back.
It's the Mikey Show. It is Wednesday. And it is 6.37. A 27-year-old guy was arrested yesterday after he allegedly robbed the GameStop in Mira Mesa yesterday for copies of Grand Theft Auto 4. This is really a surprise. Chargers assistant general manager Buddy Nix shockingly retires. Some are saying he was forced out. Our text number is 35253. And our phone number is 5701053. Rosie O'Donnell commented on the Miley Cyrus thing
on a video blog. And it's... I haven't heard it yet. I just read the description and went, oh boy. I can't wait to hear that. So we'll hear that in a little bit. Welcome back to the show. Let's see here. So this fugitive mom story, I could explain it to you, but I think it's better to just let 739 do that and we'll kind of pause through it. Susan LaFavre was just 19 years old when she was arrested and taken to jail.
The now 53-year-old woman escaped from a Michigan prison in 1975 at the time she was serving a drug conviction. And she then made her way to San Diego where she's been living a double life up until now. Mari Payton is live in Santee at the Las Colinas Women's Detention Center, where she tells us her story from behind bars. Good morning, Mari. Jason, good morning. The mother of three was living a normal life in Carmel Valley when her criminal past caught up with her. It was 1975, and Susan LaFavre was just 19 years old growing up in Michigan. This is a mugshot of her taken by authorities there after she had been arrested for dealing heroin and cocaine.
The thing is, is that the picture that they show, the mugshot that they show, it doesn't look real dated to me. It looks like a girl that you might even see on the street today. The hairstyle's not all that different. It just looks like a young 19-year-old girl, smiling. Susan thought she was going to get probation. Instead, she got 10 to 20 years in prison. A year later, she escaped by climbing a fence. Her grandfather was waiting for her a few blocks away. After her escape, Susan changed her name to Marie Day and moved to Southern California. In 1985, she got married and became Marie Walsh and lived in this home in Carmel Valley with her husband, Alan, and three kids. Very nice home, by the way. Beautiful home.
I mean, you can tell, probably a very expensive home in a very upper-middle-class neighborhood in Carmel Valley. Beautiful. In fact, the cars that they're showing out front, it's all BMWs and nice landscaping around. It's just a beautiful neighborhood. But last week, Susan's pass cut up to her. Michigan authorities got an anonymous tip and agents with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested her. You know what that means, by the way? What? To me, that means she had some beef with somebody back in Michigan who knew who she was and what the deal was. Because when they say anonymous tip, somebody doesn't just 30 some years later go,
Oh, yeah, I've been meaning to do this. They do it because they're mad. There's something going on. And there was probably like, hey, if you don't, da-da-da, I'm going to da-da-da. Go ahead. Home. I learned so much from it, and I tried to pass it on to my kids. And now my kids are probably devastated. I've been so hard about lecturing them about, you know, marijuana and things and drugs. and they certainly had no idea. Susan's husband released this statement,
quote, I've known my wife Marie for over 23 years and she's a person of the highest integrity. During that time, she's been a caring and wonderful wife and mother. Our family is now threatened to be destroyed by something that happened when Marie was a 19-year-old teenager 34 years ago in Michigan. And her husband goes on to say that her friends and family support her and that she has made many positive contributions to her community. Reporting live from C&T, I'm Mari Payton. We'll send it back to you inside. Okay, I can't imagine that this is possible, but I'll throw it out there and see what you guys think.
Okay. Because, like I said, I can't imagine that this would ever be the deal, but I just want to get your guys' percentages. Percentage of chance that the husband didn't know. Oh. Oh, man. Eddie. Because he's claiming he didn't. He's claiming he didn't know. Yeah, yeah. He's saying that he never knew. See, I didn't know that. Yeah, I thought they said that, but maybe they didn't. Maybe I just read it here. So he's saying he didn't know. Percentage of chance he didn't know. Eddie. Man.
I will say 30%. Man, now that he, now that, see, I didn't know that. Yeah, I thought they said that, but maybe because I read it this morning. What they said was, is that he released a statement and said that in the last so many years, She's been wonderful and dah, dah, dah. But he didn't say, at least in that statement, I had no idea that this was the deal with my wife. Yeah, right here it says, quote, investigators say Walsh's husband told them he had no idea about his wife's criminal past. Now, I wonder if maybe the reason that he's saying that is because if he doesn't, he's aiding and abetting a fugitive. Yeah, and they have kids to take care of and with her behind bars.
Right, maybe it's the smart thing to do. Yeah, you never know. Okay, so, but I'm just, what do you guys think? Percentage of chance, yeah, because that, what I just said, changes my mind again. Yeah. This is the things that we need to consider. Yes. She's like, okay, if I, you know, she falls in love with him. And if I get married to him, it's even better because now my name changes yet again
and I become even more sort of lost in the haystack. And if I tell him, it's just one more person that could potentially haunt me with the information because I already know that my cousin Lulu knows about it. Yeah, Lulu. You guys know how Lulu is back in Michigan? She talks to everybody. Okay, so maybe that's her initial thought, right? But then, a few glasses of wine,
playing games in the neighborhood, playing board games in the neighborhood with some friends, and they come home. She's had like three big glasses of wine, and she goes, honey, something I should tell you. And how many opportunities has there been for that over the last 25 years? If not that, then another time, or another time, or another time. So I think there's a 50-50 chance he didn't know. Eddie, you say 30 what?
Yeah, I just, I have, you know, I'm going back and forth in my head of, well, you know, it was her husband. It's tough, huh? So, you know, she probably could trust him and feel like she could tell him, you know, her deepest, darkest secret. But then, you know, I also think to myself, well, if she feels like she's completely changed her life, you know, like she may have just put that away forever and was like, I'm never going to be caught, so I'm never going to tell anybody this. And he may change his feelings about me if I tell him. So I'm like at 30%.
It's not easy. It's not easy. Sky? I say there's a 60% chance that he did not know. A 60% chance. Yeah, because I kind of like what Eddie was saying is what I think. Like, this was something she did when she was really young. It's not like she murdered someone. So it's not something that I feel like she has, like, a huge guilt about. Right. So I think she just kind of buried it, put it away, and decided she's never going to visit that again. What the heck? The Eddie line is ringing. Hello?
- Good morning. - Oh. - Good morning. - Hi guys, it's Barbara. - Hello, Barbara. Oh, how are you guys? We're fine. What's going on? I was listening to the show and I heard you guys talking about this poor woman. Oh, yeah. And I just wanted to call in as a fellow fugitive mom. Wait, you're a fugitive? Barbara, back up. You can't say that. You know, I think it's time that we start coming out of the shadows and hiding. And I was just blogging about this to my MySpace fugitive girls.
What are you talking about? We have a thing on MySpace. It's a fugitive fellowship, and we get together, and we talk about being fugitives. And so anyway. That's weird, Barbara. I realize that the authorities are probably going to be in touch, and you're probably going to go to prison. No one knows. Well, first of all, my real name isn't Barbara. It's Helen Hendrick. Well, you're saying your name. Why did you do that? You just told us. We're live. Just tell me when we're going to go on, and then we... We're on.
We're on. We're on. Right now. You're all about to see that. Oh, crap. I wonder why she ended up so fast. Oh, crap. That was a weird phone call from... No, this guy, it's Barbara. It's Barbara. That was bad. For goodness sake, Helen Hendrick. Oh, no. She doesn't ever say that again. Yeah. But anyway, yeah, so listen to these people are calling in, wanting to say that they think that the husband probably knew. You say, Navy Doc, you there? Yeah. You say he probably knew 100%, right? Oh, most definitely. 23 years and watching America's Most Wanted Cops.
Maybe they'll sit there with a cup of wine and, oh, I escaped from prison when I was a kid. Women talk about everything. It's true. That is true. Women talk about everything, you know? I mean, that's why I think she's in trouble in the first place. She may have told somebody. She may have told somebody she I'm thinking it was somebody back in Michigan that knew it may have been somebody right here in San Diego, a woman right here in San Diego that she trusted was her best girlfriend. And, you know, she trusted and that maybe they've had a falling out and an anonymous tip came in. That's where the anonymous came from.
Who knows? Oh, sorry about that. P1 paparazzi is on. Oh, that was quick. Paparazzi is on the line, and paparazzi is a P1 Hall of Famer. He is a guy that used to take a lot of photographs of us. That's why we called him P1 Paparazzi. His real name is Brad, and Brad, what did you want to say? I actually have a question for you guys. Go ahead. Do you believe that prison or jail time is supposed to be for rehabilitation or for punishment? And if it's for rehabilitation, don't you feel that she's rehabilitated at this point?
It doesn't need to jail time. I was thinking the same thing because, you know, she was one year into a 10 to 20 year sentence when she escaped. So they are now sending her back to Michigan. And, you know, so she still has potentially 19 years left on her sentence plus charges for escaping. Like, is it cool to lock this chick up for like 20 years? Well, one thing that I think would be interesting to know, one thing I don't know, is what, for instance, the state of California's take is on prison. Does the state of California state that they have these institutions for rehabilitation or for punishment for crimes committed?
I really don't know what the answer to that is. The truth is, is that as I was driving in this morning and I heard the story, I thought, man, if she's been an upstanding citizen and she's done a good job and blah, blah, blah. But then on the other hand, I'm like, you know, what does that teach kids that you should escape from prison? That you don't get in trouble? Right. You know, I mean, there's two different sides to it. So I don't know. What do you think? 570? 1053? Our text number is 35253?
Should she kind of get off because she's been a good lady and, you know, she hasn't done any. She's been a good mom and a good lady and somebody that's like been involved in her community. Or should you say, hey, wait a second, man. She committed a crime. She even committed a second crime by, you know, being this alias person and being on the run. All you got to think to yourself is if what if the crime was different? What if the crime was murder? Yeah. Well, if the crime was murder. So, what if she's got a husband and kids now and has lived a good life? She did a crime.
Yeah. Does she not, does she just not get punished because she's been good? Like, what? If it was murder, I'd feel totally different. Yeah, I would, too. But I think, yeah, I think drugs are totally different than murder, you know? But. Yeah. It's still a crime. Yeah. But I guess for me, you know, I have issues with the whole sentencing for drugs anyways, you know? What do you mean? The harsh sentencing, our war on drugs, and the overcrowding of the prison because we're locking up, you know, people with dope, like, you know. What do you think we should do with them?
I think rehab. Yeah, I agree. That's not bad. What if they're not taking drugs and just selling it? If they're selling it? Yeah. I think it depends on what kind of drug it is, and I believe, you know, the quantities as well. I love weed. These are just my feelings. Heroin's different. Than pot. Definitely. Come on. Yeah, I'd be on the same page. I'm really, listen, I'm really one of these people that thinks that you have to look at stuff in context, you know? Like, look at stuff for what, you know, what is this crime?
And I don't know, man, maybe I'm wrong about that. What do you think, Eddie, about this lady? I think she needs to go to prison. Do you think she should serve out the rest of the 19 years? Well, I don't know. You know, she had a 10 to 20, so, you know, she could have got off in five, you know, with good behavior and everything. I mean, you know, it's just, I think it sends a really scary message about our penal system if we just go, oh, okay, well, you know, you've been cool, so everything's good. And then, you know, so what, other criminals can do this?
Yeah. Like, no, no, absolutely not. So, if you were the judge and you could give her anywhere from, she, okay, the sentence was what, Sky? It was 10 to 20 years and she had served one year of that. Okay, so that means 19 instantly. 9 to 19. 9 to 19. So, Eddie, if you were the judge and you can give 9 to 19, what do you give? Well, now she's got added charges for escaping from prison. On top of that, how much is that? I have no idea. Let's say five years.
I would initially probably censor probably to the maximum. Whoa. Especially, well, you've got 10 to 20. I don't want to get Judge Eddie. You got 10 to 20 and then you escaped from prison? What are you supposed to get, less? Like, I don't get it. Yeah. And you, obviously, in no way would accept, you know, parole and fines. How about an I'm sorry? And community service. No, no, no, no. What?
No, okay, never mind, my bad. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm like, what? I have a question. Go ahead, Ash. Because in the news report that NBC39 was just doing, excuse me, that woman was saying that she was supposed to get probation then ended up getting 10 to 20 years. She thought she was going to get. Or she thought she was going to get probation. That's like a really big difference. So maybe if this chick feels like the initial punishment It didn't fit the crime. Like, what do we think about that? You know what I mean? Well, her thoughts on it don't affect me. Don't every criminal think that punishment doesn't affect it?
Every criminal thinks that they shouldn't be punished too much. Oh, so it wasn't like a legal thing, that probation versus 10 years. It was just her opinion. That was it. Yeah, she just didn't want it. She didn't think it was right. That's why she... And what about her grandfather? If he's still alive? I don't know if he's still alive. Yeah, she's 53, so I... So that would make him like 62. No, no. You know, he'd have to be at least 9, 10 years older than her, right? It's just in the deep south. That's all I'm saying. 570-1053.
Okay, when we come back, I'm going to play the Paula Abdul stuff. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not even kidding. I haven't heard it. When we come back, it's a water cooler talk today, man. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. It's 7.03. A San Francisco man was killed on Monday after being attacked by a shark in Acapulco. The same shark? Eddie, we don't know. Oh, the Chargers signed veteran offense to tackle L.J. Shelton be a backup. What's he? Where did they get him? L.J. Shelton? Well, he was with Miami last year, and they cut him. Yeah. Welcome back to the show. Our phone number is 35253. Excuse me. Our phone number is 5701053.
Our text number is 35253. And the crazy Rosie O'Donnell comments in just a little bit. But first, I told you that Paula Abdul last night on American Idol was a bit of a spectacle. Oh, my God. I can't wait to hear that. So, Eddie. Yeah. Was it Saisha Mercado that had just sung, or who was it? Well, here's what happened last night. They only had an hour, and they had the top five sing two songs.
Oh, okay. Okay? And so they said in the beginning of the show, we're not going to have the judges judge until after the second song. Okay. So they were going to sing, and then they were just going to move on. Okay. Because they were so packed for time. Right. Well, after all five people sang their first song, Seacrest brings them all out and goes, all right, real quick, judges, what did you think of their first song? And then that's what precipitated this. That's what happened. Cut 47. Oh gosh, we've never had to write these things down fast enough. Jason, the first song, I loved hearing your lower register, which we never really hear.
The second song, I felt like your usual charm was missing from me. It kind of left me a little empty. And the two songs made me feel like you're not fighting hard enough to get into the top four. So, David Cook? No, we should just on the first song, just on the first one. I thought you, oh, my God, I thought you sang twice. Wow, see? Just once, but Paula, Paula, you're seeing the future, baby. You're seeing the future. You know what? It's coming back. This is hard.
Okay, Paula, Paula. No, it's David. Paula, who is your favorite? Who is your favorite? Okay, what? Who is your favorite? Paula, who is your favorite? You know what? I'm looking at, it's your notes, David. You're fantastic. Who's David? And it was a song that wasn't known. What? Who's notes what? What the heck? Okay. so the guy only sang one song and she thought he had sung twice and then she's like oh I'm reading the notes for David but in her notes she said that she didn't like it
and now she's saying oh you were fantastic he was her favorite you were my favorite and she kept going what and how did she like look out of it out of it well here's the deal even Simon who usually likes to have a good time teasing her is trying to help which makes it worse this is what I think may change
the producer of the show's mind when one of these kicked off the show contestants decides to sue because Because one of them is out of it and influencing the public in a way that yada, yada, yada. And then the producers are going to go, uh-oh. Man, this is hitting us where we actually, you know, the only thing we really care about. It's hitting us right in the only thing we care about.
The dough. And so we got to, uh-oh, we better do something. But that is crazy. Talk about water-coated. This is what people are going to be talking about today at work. Because when she's talking about him singing his second song, I mean, everybody's like, what? Randy's like, no. We got to hear it again. Got to hear it again. Paula. Oh, gosh. We've never had to write these things down fast enough. Jason, the first song, I loved hearing your lower register, which we never really hear. The second song, I felt like the usual charm was missing from me.
It kind of left me a little empty. And the two songs made me feel like you're not fighting hard enough to get into the top four. So, David Cook. Pause. Just on the first one. Just on the first one. I thought you, oh my God, I thought you sang twice. Pause. Do you notice the uncomfortable laughter from the audience? We've got to rewind it a little bit, but there's this uncomfortable laughter from the audience of, like, they're trying to figure out if she's kidding. Go ahead.
Enough to get into the top four. So, David Cook? No, we should just on the first song. Just on the first one. Just on the first one. I thought you, oh my God, I thought I was just saying twice. Wow. Just once, but Paula. Paula, you're seeing the future, baby. You're seeing the future. She's coming back. This is hard. Okay, Paula, Paula. Paula, who is your favorite? Who is your favorite? Okay, what? Who is your favorite? Paula, who is your favorite? You know what? I'm looking at your notes, David.
You're fantastic. And it was a song that wasn't known. You think anybody... Two questions. Yeah. Before last night, has anybody like me? And when I say anybody, I include producers and Simon and Randy. Has anybody pulled her aside before last night and said, pull her? What's going on? Has anybody done that before last night? I would say yeah. There's been a few times where she's been out of it on the show. Okay, so then after last night, same people that did that the first time, they're pulling her over again, talking to her again?
Yeah. Because that was crazy audio. Yeah. I didn't even see it, and I'm just telling you, listening to it is compelling. That was really crazy audio. That was nuts. So, anyway, that was from last night's American Idol. We got a phone call from somebody. It's P1 Jason. P1 Jason, are you there? Yeah. You think it was scripted. It seemed that way, yeah. Why? Well, if you listen to what she said after Jason Castro sang his first song, and then you listen to what, I think it was Randy,
what he said after jason castro sang his second song they said almost the same thing so it's like paula was reading something that was scripted for both songs before he actually sang his second song i think she was reading her notes i think she was reading her notes but i don't think that i don't know if i'm misinterpreting what this guy's saying but maybe the producers give them recommendations about what to say while critiquing the contestants and she jumped ahead to the second song of the producer-recommended comments. Oh, I gotcha.
Maybe. But either way, it's a mess-up. It's like something that a sober person wouldn't do. In fact, it sounds to me like maybe that's what they do for her. What other reason would she go to David Cook and say, oh, I was reading Cook's notes, and then all of a sudden she loves what he did? Yeah. That's crazy! And the deal is, is that I bet they don't do that for Randy and Simon. Definitely. Wow. Simon. Oh! Yeah, Simon doesn't need anything. That's nuts! Which just furthers the thought that they're concerned about Paula.
They have to do special treatment for her, you know? Trying to keep her afloat the whole time. Right? That's brutal. That's too bad, man. Interesting. 570-1053 is our phone number. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. We have our share of toast spots. Kind of much a typical ride here this morning. You've got South 15 way up in the Paula here as you come down just before Center City Parkway exit there. That's an accident block. The right lane's there, so a bit of a backup around that. When did you get into Escondido? here. It slows from the 78 to Overlake Hodges down into Rancho Bernardo. An accident partly in the fast lane just past Rancho Bernardo Road catching over to Khmut. Made that kind of tough there. The coaster rides south. Five seeing plenty of brake lines now out of Lucadia all the way to Solana Beach. The Reese County
Khmut bunching up here on the 8th freeway in the Cajon Valley right around Las Cochas. Oh no, that's cleared up. Watch for the slowdown now developing in La Mesa. Spring Street out towards Lake Murray. West 52 definitely slow out of Santee off the 125 now coming to the top of the summit. At King Freeway westbound. Good to go all the way to downtown. Just a minor delay near the 5. And both the 5 and the 805 northbound out of the south base. Starting to see the usual slowdown on these freebies that pass at 54 in the National City. 805 scatters here for off and on into North Park. And now some reduced speeds out of Kearney Mesa. I'm Rick Lawrence on
Rock 105.3. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the official home of the Mikey Morning Show. Like the creepy grandpa. Yeah. You know, like that, like that, Oh, yeah, that guy. K-I-O-Z, San Diego's Rock, 105.3. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. Football helps me to forget any problem in my life. Eddie. That booty is delicious. Sky. Oh, my brain is so bad.
Today. Sean. Thank you. Be quiet. Boston Rob. I have a rule of X in my mind. And Ashley. I'm a lady. The Mikey Show's on. Go, girl! Rock 105.3. Welcome back.
It's a Mikey show at 7.17. Hollywood nightclub Basque, which was featured in films like Ocean's Eleven, is currently on fire. Jason Taylor is not a happy camper. He's upset with Bill Parcells and the Dolphins. Our texts are coming in at 35253. And the weird Rosie O'Donnell blog is coming up in just a little bit. Got to play this weird Rosie O'Donnell blog. She's blogging about Miley Cyrus and the weird stuff going on. They took these pictures of Miley Cyrus, I'll tell you in just a second.
Our text that we're getting, man, Mikey, Paula Abdul sounded really out of it. Someone needs to take her to rehab. That girl really needs some help. I agree with that. Regards, Amy Winehouse. That's a walking contradiction. Even she's saying that. That must really mean it's bad. That's bad, Mike. Anyway, so yeah, we were talking about this Miley Cyrus thing. Now, you know the story. It's everywhere right now, man.
She took these pictures for Vanity Fair where she's got a sheet draped over her. It turns out, though, that she's actually wearing jeans. But she's got this sheet covering her body, and you can see her bare back. And they crop it in a way that makes it look like she's naked with a sheet over her. which for a 15-year-old is very provocative. Annie Leibovitz, famous photographer, she took the picture. She said, oh, well, I'm sorry if it offended anybody. And she was quick to point out that Miley's dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, he was there.
And he saw the pictures, and he was fine with them. Sky said they shut down the server for Vanity Fair's website. It crashed because so many people were going to their website to see all the pictures. Chris Hansen should be checking out who was going to shut down that server. Wow. That's nuts. Yeah. I mean, when you think about it, man, it's something that everybody could have opinion on. It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter what, you know, walk of life you come from. You have to have an opinion on, well, what do you think of a 15-year-old that's taking pictures like that?
And doing stuff like that. What the heck? Hello? Hello, everyone. This is Dr. Phil calling in this time. Dr. Phil? Yeah, I thought I was... I'm stuck in traffic on the 15th. Oh, wow. Everybody is. Yeah, I was trying to... Oh, hang on a second. Look at this one. Hello there, young lady. Do you know I'm on the Mikey show right now? What are you doing, Dr. Phil? Are you a penguin? Hey, guys, stop it.
Aren't you, like, married? Well, there's rumors about him maybe getting a divorce. No, no, no. I was offering that girl free. Would you like free counseling? No, that's inappropriate. That is inappropriate. How about you? Are you a P1? Dr. Phil. Sorry about that, y'all. Stop that. I'm always handing out my business cards. Shame on you. So I'm just trying to make new clientele all the time. You're a TV star now. You're not even having a practice. I am a TV star. Thank you so much, Eddie. I really do appreciate that.
What are you calling in about? Well, you know, I did a photo shoot for Vanity Fair. I don't know if you all know that. You did? Yeah, I was also topless in a sheet and then later in a velvet diaper nibbling on Melba Toast. Oh, no, that is a bad visual. I don't think so. That was actually a mistake. I later found out that that was for, not for Vanity Fair, it was for Vanity Perv. And I was very upset that I didn't want to be in it. But at the same time, I thought, wow, what a relief, you know, that it wasn't what I originally thought it was. Who wants to be in Vanity Fair anyway, when you think about it? That's what I thought.
What a relief. I didn't want to be in it. Here's the thing about Whiny Walrus. What's her name? Grammy? No. Whiny Walrus. You should know that. Flying Iris. No. That's not right. She's got the Smimey Walrus. Anyway. Not even close. Here's the thing about her. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was 15, okay? How so? Half naked in a sheet in front of a photographer employed by Disney. I think that's... Oh, no, that is... I don't know why you were... Although, in my case, I was employed by Little Caesars as the fat midget Roman mascot, so... What are you talking about, man?
Check this one out, guy. Paid the plates up. With that accent. Pretty good, dude. This reminds me of a lullaby my mother used to sing to me before going to bed as a child of 15 years. It's never a lullaby. No, it's not. This better be a lullaby. Sweet little lullaby. How does it go? It went a little something like this. A Yankee doodle. That's not a Dr. Phil. I'm in a new cab. If you make your mother mad, I'll burn you in my meth lab. Okay.
That's not a lullaby. That's neither a lullaby or appropriate. Yeah, that's why I don't think. Thank you so much, Eddie. That means a lot to me. No, that's not a compliment, man. Are you paying attention to the road right now? Absolutely, I am. Okay, hang on. It doesn't sound like it. Hello, sweetheart. Hey! Not like that, Dr. Phil, please. Is that one of them new Honda Preludes? You look beautiful in that. What? That's strange. Hello? You all still there? Yes. Sorry, I was just making a conversation with P1s here on Interstate 15.
Oh, this is weird. Oh, man. Y'all, you know what Miley needs is what every teen who has lost their way needs. What's that? Good old-fashioned dose of PETA throwing red paint on her to elicit shame. Oh, wow. What? Well, it works for KFC, right? They stopped making chicken cloth salad and all that other stuff. You all know me. Y'all know that I care about everybody in the news. I cared about Britney Spears when that thing happened. And I just wanted to let y'all...
Interpretation. I called the Cyrus family myself. I'm sure you did. Yesterday, I wanted to give them some of my support. And I told them that if they want to, she can take those same photos on my show and they will finally be tasteful. Oh, no, that's... I bet you taped the phone call, too. And that if it makes them feel any better, we could promote it during sweets. Okay, well, you're a media whore. That's really nice of you. No, I'm not complimenting you. Oh, man, the worst. If I could respond with a little something I've been working on, and I hope this doesn't take too much time out of your all show or anything like that.
As long as it's appropriate. Does it make sense? Yeah, I think it does in this situation. And a one, and a two, and a one. Don't break my heart. My achy, breaky heart. This is so inappropriate. Okay, enough. Dr. Phil, why are you singing? Okay. Why are you singing that? I wrote it, Eddie. You did not write achy, breaky heart. I did, Eddie, for Billy Ray back in the day. I did. What? I never heard that. Yeah, you still won't give me the credit that I deserve for it. You know, the thing is, I was originally supposed to play Hannah Montana as well.
That is not true. Well, that's ridiculous. No, I'm not. Yes, you are. You know that that's ridiculous. Yes, you are. I was also supposed to play Rog from What's Happening. Oh, no. What, dude? He's extra crazy today, Eddie. What? What? Hi, hi, hi. That wasn't even Rog. Oh, my God. Eddie, hi, hi, hi. Yeah, okay. I heard you the first time. We got it. What the heck? Bottom line is I hate the Syruses. That's the deal.
Just the other day, I challenged... This is Dr. Phil, by the way. We know. For those of you just tuned in, hang on. Look at you. Hey! Spill down, bro. Enough. Dr. Phil, please. Is he even listening? No, he's not paying attention to us. She must be really pretty this time. Ah, shit, are you a P1? Stop saying that. We are ministers alone. Sorry about that. Stop doing that. Sorry about that. Jeez. Anyway, I was telling you about how I challenged these cyruses to a duel. A duel?
A duel. Pick your poison buckaroo, Mr. Lefty or his best friend, Dr. Quentin Wright-Fist. Okay. Oh, sorry. I'm a tough guy. No, I don't know what you're saying. I told the cyruses that that kid needs to keep her clothes on. Well, that's probably true. Do we all remember what happened to a certain Disney star that became too famous for her own good and went off the deep end? Well, yeah. That's right. I'm talking about Minnie Mouse.
No, I thought you meant Britney Spears. Like, what? Minnie Mouse? That crazy rat tried to sell Pluto for some heroin money. No, that never happened, Dr. Phil. And I slapped her and I told her to bug off. To Minnie Mouse? Dr. Phil, stop lying. I know she's listening right now. She is? Get your act together, Minnie. Minnie. Hey. Key one, Minnie. Hey, no. I know you're listening right now. Stop. Rare form today.
Get off of El Cajon Boulevard. Oh, Dr. Phil, I'm not. Oh, Dr. Phil, please. I just want to talk straight to Minnie Mouse right now. Y'all just ignore what I'm about to say. Can y'all ignore what I'm about to say? I don't want to. I'm talking directly to Minnie Mouse right now. And a one, and a two, and a there's a light at the end of the day. I know there's a light at the end of this. I know. So you wrote that too. Who's the man? Uh, Mikey? Hello? Never called in before, but I love your show, and you guys rock. Oh, that's awesome. Sky, there's only one place in San Diego that P1s should be going to get sunglasses,
and that is Sunglass and Optical Warehouse. Yeah, Eddie, it's getting to be that time because the weather is getting beautiful out, And if you need to get a new pair of sunglasses, especially if you're a Mikey Show P1, Sunglass Optical Warehouse is the place for you. Yeah, they'll give you 10% off. You go in, you tell them you're a Mikey Show listener, tell them you're a P1, 10% off. That's huge. We had some tough rides on our freeways here this morning. Heading south in the 15, finding a heavy backup off the 78 through West Candido. There's an accident just before Via Rancho Parkway, adding that slow ride.
The slow ride actually continues past that. Overlake Hodges into Rancho Bernardo, an earlier accident near Rancho Bernardo Road. Now out of the way, pretty much caught up with the commute and made that pretty tough. And even farther south now, it's punching up through Carmel Mountain Ranch down to the 56. The coaster ride, south 5, staying very heavy as well, from Lucadia all the way to Solana Beach. Westbound 52, construction work at the 125 where they're extending the 52. It's got you slow coming off that 125 westbound. That's slow up the hill to the top of the summit. The West 8 ride is also backing up now through La Mesa from Jackson Drive out to Lake Murray when I let you loose. And both the 5 and the 8.05 northbound, plenty of stuff out of the South Bay here up past the 54, up in the National City on these freeways.
8.05 continues so off and on through North Park. And now you've got brake lights developing out of Kearney Mesa heading up over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. I love cricket. I know that later on in the summer, Sky is planning on seeing the Dave Matthews Band. at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. That is true, Mike. I'm really excited. I'm really hoping Pedro will be there. It's kind of been a while since I've seen him. Guys, I just got a text from Pedro. You did? What did he say?
He says he's training for the Olympics. That's why I haven't seen him. For the Olympics? Yeah, did you hear about this? No, what's the deal? Apparently he's training for the Olympics in the broad jump, but I think he thinks it's something else. Oh, man. Because he's picture messaging me his training and his. Oh, no. Oh, this is bad. Really weird. It's not the broad jump that we think of traditionally. I can't tell. I can't even figure it out. There's so many legs and arms. Oh, gosh. I don't know. It's almost like looking at Guantanamo. So all we're saying is that this is the greatest wireless company of all time.
They get it, Mike. They get it. They don't lock you into contracts, but they're friends with The Mikey Show. The Mikey Show is friends with them. And they got the naming rights to what used to be Coors Amphitheater is now Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. That's awesome. Nice. It's going to be nice to spend some time there this summer. Sky, what is the website? It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. The Mikey Show. Now something you might have missed. Ashley. She was saying how. Her boyfriend.
My boyfriend. He will comment on things like her purses, and she says she gets the message. I don't like your purse. I want you to have a designer purse. But the best thing you do is you've just got to be really, you know, open in the communication. Like, because the message is loud and clear. The message is, well, I wish that you carried designer purses. I defend her right to use the glad trash bag as a purse. I do. Hefty, hefty, sick sack. It can only be
Mikey. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It is 7.32. David Blaine will attempt to break the underwater breath-holding record on Oprah today. In the NBA playoffs last night, the Spurs eliminated the Suns and New Orleans eliminated Dallas. You guys going to watch that?
The David Blaine thing? Yeah. I kind of want to, but it is Oprah. Yeah. I don't know. To me, that seems like it might be kind of a cool thing. I don't want to watch Oprah, for sure. I just don't want to watch Oprah. But I do, for whatever reason, that stuff is kind of cool to me. Yeah, who is this? It's David Blaine.
Oh, David Blaine. Oh, my gosh. Boy, did you just wake up? Hey, David. What's up, man? No, I was doing car tricks right here in Central Park. Oh, wow. You sound really excited. Sounds fun. You've got a big day today, man. 10.30 in the morning. Oh. Maybe you should buck up. He just sounds like this all the time, I think. Oh. What's up, Eddie? Yeah, what's up, man? I didn't pick a card. Well, I can't see you. I don't. All right. I got it. Now, check this out. We can't see anything. You can't really do magic on the video. What a trap, right?
See, I don't know what you did. It could be anything right now. Let me show you something here. Let me show you something. You're looking at my feet right now. No, I can't see you. You're on the phone. Oh, he's levitating now. Check that out. I'm four feet in the air. A little enthusiasm would even help. I can't see you. I don't know what you're doing. No, I'm 10 feet in the air. No, I don't. I'm not believing that. We don't know that. We're not there. How does it look from up there? 50 feet in the air. Oh, my gosh.
That's amazing. Check me out. That's amazing. You guys want a preview of Oprah tonight? Yeah. Check this out. Okay. I don't know if he's really holding his breath. I mean, keep breathing. He's making it sound like it. He's supposed to do it for like 16 minutes or something. 16? We're going to be here for a while. He already sounds like he's losing his breath. Put me on hold. What? Put you on hold. Put me on hold. But how will we know if you're really doing it? Just come back in like 10 minutes.
That's weird, David Blaine. You sound like you're struggling already, man. Put me on hold. Okay, put him on hold. Just put him on hold. Really weird. That's David Blaine. That guy's going to be on Oprah later today. How amazing. Oh, that was odd. Yep, so the current record is 16 minutes and 32 seconds. How can anybody hold their breath that long? It's possible. I guess before he goes in the tank, he's going to be breathing pure oxygen for like 20 minutes prior, and then he'll go in the tank, and he says he'll try and be perfectly still to lower his heart rate so much that it'll minimize his oxygen consumption. It's impossible.
It's impossible. Okay. We're going to take Boston, Rob, and Zeth out of the following question. Okay. They cannot participate in the following question. The only people that can participate in this question are myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, and Ashley. All right. Okay. I am going to go to, I'm going to go to myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, and Ashley. And those are the only people in the pool that you can pick up. pick from who amongst those people could hold their breath the longest oh man i will say ashley eddie you can't say yourself oh you have to pick someone i wouldn't have picked
zeth or rob either really they're smokers yeah but rob seems like he runs all the time He runs all the time. But that smoking will jack you up. Should we throw them in it then? I think you could. I mean, their lungs are ruined. See, I thought if we put them in this equation that they would like. I will take a huge drag of a cigarette and then hold my breath. See, I think he could do it. I think he would beat all of us. He's an idiot, though. That's true, too. I didn't even think of that. He's good at stuff, and he's never good at anything. That's true.
Thank you for the good at stuff compliment. So, Eddie, who would you pick? I am going to take Sean. Come on. Everybody else has had some sort of smoking in their lives before. Yeah. Sean and myself are the only ones that have never smoked before. Okay. Sky. I... Well, Ashley... Call in. Pick a horse. Ashley's in the best shape out of all of us, but she is currently a smoker. So I would pick myself, but you said I can't do that.
So I'm going to pick Eddie for the fact that Eddie hates losing so bad that he will practically kill himself to win that challenge. 570-1053, pick me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, or Ashley. And then we're going to get into the pool and do it. No, no, no. Oh, we're not? No, we're going to hold our breath and hold our nose. I love doing this stuff. Oh, I don't want to do that. She didn't want to drink Calpico or hold her breath. You can't hold your breath? Sky.
Like, what the hell do you... Now, hang on a minute. Are you serious? Now, hang on a minute. Hang on a minute. Now, it will be Boston Rob that is calling the event. Are you the most unfun person alive? I'm ready. Yes. Well, you remember what P1 John Doe nicknamed her in... I think it was John Doe. Nicknamed her in San Jose was Captain Killjoy and the Bring Me Downs. It's a name that didn't stick, only for three years. Now, we go to Shawnee. This one was actually pretty easy for me.
I really think that Eddie's the only one that could do it. Really? Yeah. I think Eddie's going to be... If I couldn't pick Ashley, I would pick Eddie. I don't know, guys. He's the one to beat. I don't know. I'm not the best at holding my breath. Ashley? Sorry, just getting ready. You're practicing. I would absolutely pick myself, but since I can't pick myself, because that's, like, all I do is breathe. Like, with yoga, like, that's all I practice. That's something we have in common. Yeah, we should hook up on e-harmony. I'm, like, big into breathing. We would hook up on e-harmony.
Like, breathing? I would have put, all I do is breathe. Breathing is so underrated, and people don't do it enough, and they don't do it right, and I'm a huge, I'm big on breathing, but if I can't pick myself, I will, if I can't pick myself, then I will pick, um, Skye. Skye. Come on, Skye. Here we go. P1, Manny. Good morning, Mike Show. Who do you want to pick? We're going to pick, uh, Skye, because she speaks a lot. There you go. You're loud. We get it.
P1, Croc. Yes. Who do you want? Eddie. You got it. Hang on. P1 Muddy. Good morning, guys. Who do you want? I will pick you, Mikey. Oh, you are nuts. Hang on, Muddy. P1 Greg. Yeah, I'll take Sean. You got Shawnee, oh boy. Let's go, pig. Hang on the line. And finally, P1 Brandon. You get Ashley. Ashley, yeah. I bet she smokes this Ashley does. Yeah.
I bet she's young. She's practicing. That's not fair. I love holding my breath. That's all she does is breathe. That's all I do. I'm a huge breather. I'm a big fan of breathing. I heard that she's like on message boards with other breathers. I love to breathe. It's like one of my favorite things to do. All right, Rob, are you ready to call this action? Yeah, should I come in there so I can see Shawn? Yeah, yeah, come in here. Come in here so you can see Shawn, your boy. Oh, man, this is so weird. Bend those lungs, everybody. Get the camera. Get Blaine. Wow, Ashley, you can tell Ashley's even going into her happy place. She's going to cheat.
She's going to smoke us. Let's go in there and touch her nose. We have to plug our nose. We have to take a deep breath in, and we can exhale. We just can't inhale. All right, Rob, you there? Can you hear us? There's Rob. There he is. He's going to call this thing, and he's going to be able to see Sean. So the participants are me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, and Ashley. Ashley's already starting to get into the zone. I know. She's been practicing, man. She's been on an hour right now.
Okay. I'm going to take my headphones off when we start, so. You are? Yeah. Oh, so we don't distract her? So you guys don't distract me. No, wait. It should be fair. It has to be fair. We all have to. It's got to be fair. How do we distract her if we can't breathe? What are you talking about? We're not, we can't talk. Stop yelling at me. I'm in my zone. Don't forget, she's in her zone. Get in the happy dog position. Rob, you tell us when to start. You guys want, you guys should maybe take a couple of deep breaths first. You know, get ready because you're going to have to expand those lungs. Wow.
A lot of deep breathing going on. This is because David Blaine is doing this later today. I think Ashley fell asleep. I'm sweaty. I'm nervous. I'm very nervous. You may die. Okay. Is everybody ready? This is very dangerous. Skye, if anybody feels faint or weird, just pass out. Then breathe again. Wait. Okay. Are we ready? Are we getting a one to three or what? Yeah, Rob's going to do it. And plug your nose. Ready? That's to be fair. Everybody plug your nose. One, two, three. Wow.
All right. Now, I've noticed a couple different techniques. Ashley's got her eyes closed. She looks very calm. She almost looks like she could be kind of falling asleep. Oh, everybody is starting to do the eyes closed thing. Maybe they don't want to look at each other. They don't want to see other people smiling. Nothing's funny about this. Everybody's doing great. Everybody's still got their nose closed. Let's see. Sean's watching everybody on the camera. Wow, Sean is already out. Sky looking good.
Mikey's looking good. Eddie looks like he's having some trouble now. He's starting to hit his hand against the desk. Mikey's just hanging tough. How's Ashley doing in there? She's still good? Ashley is not even sweating this, I gotta say that. She looks like she could go on for hours. Skye is down. Wow. Eddie's still hanging tough. Mikey's still hanging tough. Ashley is just calm as anything. Not even having trouble. Eddie is starting to go down. Leaning back in his chair. Fight it. Fight it.
If you gotta pass out, you pass out, pal. Oh, Eddie is outed. Mikey and Ashley. Mikey and Ashley still going. Mike's turned a little purple. Yeah, his nose has changed color. Uh-oh, he's starting to well up. His eyes are starting to well up. Yeah, Ashley is just like a tail. Holy cow. Ashley's still going. While breathing is her thing. Ash, you should have gone as long as you could. Is that as long as you could? Is that as long as you could do it? I could have gone for so much longer. Oh, well, excuse us. Holy cow.
Holy cow, that was awesome. Dang it. That was awesome. I almost died. P1 Brandon. That was fun. How did she do it again? Hello? Brandon, Ashley pulled out the win for you. It's called yoga. Look into it. Oh, I know. Dude, here's what we'll do. Okay. When we come back, we have to have a breathe-off between the two healthiest kids on the show, Ashley and Rob. Oh, I like it. Rob runs. Yeah, Rob goes to the gym every day. Eddie's pointing at Zeth.
I'm like, there's no way. Well, I can't hurt to throw him in there just to see. Really? I think he may do good. Maybe he would surprise us because he's the biggest and he's got the biggest lungs. Yep. Zeth, do you exercise at all? No. I want to see who will win amongst the young kids. And Ashley is going to do good because she just had an opportunity to give it a shot. She's practicing right now. Rob, you better get practicing. Yeah, I will. I'll go take a smoke break. Rob, let me ask you, before we go to break, Do you feel, and I want you to be 100% honest, nothing to be funny, a total serious question.
No funny business, Mike. Do you feel that you will hold your breath longer than Ashley? I think it will be neck and neck. Ooh, I'm excited. Do you believe that you'll win? I don't know. That's tough because she looked really calm right there. You know, that was pretty intimidating. And I'm going to time it. I'm going to see how long it goes. I'm going to see how long we do. Wow. Ashley was pretty calm under pressure there. Wow. So we'll take a break. When we come back, those two will face off. We'll even let's see. What's a P1?

Hey, this is P1 Bass Assassin. I always hear you guys talking about AIS and stuff, you know? So I went down to the insurance company in Escondido to see what they could do for me. Yeah. And they saved me $130 a month, man. I couldn't believe it. That's so great. I was under the impression that Sky and Eddie had switched to AIS like a year ago. And they haven't. And it makes me crazy. It's just laziness. That's all it is. That's all it is. 100%. I told Sky, I drive, I go, Sky, I will drive you down there. Because you're going to save money.
That's the deal. You're going to save money. I'm saving money. $130 a month you save, Bass Ass, and that's great, dude. 1-800-777-4-AIS. 800-777-4247 is the number for AIS. Thank you, bro. All right, later, man. See you. now back to mikey i have a newly developed fear of spiders eddie why do girls want to ruin our fun sky y'all know that i don't like to spend money when i don't have to sean the stupidest neighbors in the world boston rob i get really annoyed when people have sneezing fits and ashley i hate
underwear and i don't wear underwear the mikey shows on rock 105.3 Ashley has been preparing Oh, has she? Yeah, she's ready to go Nice Rob's been preparing too By not thinking about it once Since we went to break Good strategy Thank you Welcome back It's 7.55
A Carmel Valley mom was arrested after she was found to be... Hey, Eddie, you want some of this? What's going on? Hey, Eddie. Eddie. Dude, hey. I got... You want... What is that? What are they doing? I don't know. It's just a piece of food that flew out of my mouth right now. I saved it and I wanted to see it. Anyway, a Carmel Valley mom was arrested after she was found to be a fugitive who escaped from a Michigan prison camp 32 years ago. Greg Maddox comes up short again to get win 350
as the Padres is to the Phillies 7-4. I'll save it for you. No, thank you. Welcome back to the show. So, this guy, I guess he's a magician, David Blaine. He's like Stephen Wright. But I guess he's a magician and he's going to try to break the world record for holding your breath today. On Oprah.
At what time? What time is it on? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. What time is Oprah on, Ash? Four. Four o'clock. She is concentrating in there, man. I can't lose to Rob. You don't understand. So because... Old-fashioned brief outfit. So because... Let me see. Because he's doing this today on Oprah, we're going to see how long we can hold our breath. I'm going to time them, and it will be Ashley against Rob, and we're going to throw Zeth in there,
And if he wins, it'll be really fun. I hope Zeth wins. I'm rooting for you, bud. Thanks, Rob. Ashley has been trying to get into the zone. I'm going to let you know that if Ashley loses to Rob, it'll upset her. It'll upset her. She'll be very mad. Are you guys ready? She loves breathing. On your mark. Hold on. She's got an extra reserve in her head. I'm stretching. You've got to start. You've got to start. On your mark. Get set. Go. They're all holding their nose.
And Rob is doing this standing up. He has decided to go for it. Now he's doing a little thing where he's trying to move around like he was dancing on a little jig. Which, if he loses, he will use as an excuse. Shut up. Oh my, stop talking. Don't talk. Everyone's eyes are closed. Everyone's eyes are closed. Everyone's focusing. It is very clear to me that Zeth will go out first. Rob is laughing. Rob just gave me a look. Rob just gave me, or Zet just gave me a look. Like, what's that all about? And Rob's, like, cracking up. He's done, he's out. I'm sorry, I should have not have danced.
He's so ridiculous. It's like having to try, it's like having to try, like, the leprechaun from Lucky Charms to participate in an event. He's so happy and. What a cool one. Oh, Zep, she made Zep laugh. No, he's making me laugh. This is going to make Ashley even more upset that she didn't get a real contest. You want a rematch? She didn't really win. I'm sorry, Ashley. I'm sorry I danced. These immature children. I thought they were professionals. I don't care.
I'll re-match them any time. I will re-breathe them. Breathe you any day. Can we try again seriously? Yeah, this is a serious groove-off. Rob, don't be a joker. I'm turning off this. Yeah, don't be a joker. Hey, I'm not. I'm not. Come on, be for real. I'm sorry, everybody. Zeth was doing pretty good. I was impressed with what he is. I was not impressed with Seth. Of course not, Mike. Hang on. Wait a second. Hang on. I thought I saw the twitch, Seth. Did I not see the twitch? No. There was definitely a little twitch. Dude, there was the...
But he looked strong. I thought he looked strong, too. Let's see, Seth. Let's start again. Here we go. You hate me. I do not. I love you. On your mark. I'm going to sit down this time. No dancing. On your mark. Oh, no. Get set. Go. They have begun. Ashley started after, because she like, stop, you guys, stop. Did you notice how she plucks her nose? She literally shoves her fingers in her nostrils. Yes, she does.
Watch when she does it. That's so gross. But it was like three seconds after I had said go, Ashley goes. Yeah, right, you're right. When you said go, she started her intake. My breathing was off. I was trying to, because it's how I breathe in that really helps me. I see. I see. She does this competitively, so she knows exactly how. That was like a scratch. I breathe every day. Really? She does this every day. That's unbelievable. She actually breathes every day. I'm going to stay at four to breathe. I can't believe it. All right. Are you guys ready? I see you understand.
That's all right. Here we go. On your mark. When I say the word goat, breath's holding. All right, all right. On your mark. Get set. Go. All right. They are now holding their nose. The only one that has eyes open is Rob. Rob's got his eyes open. Zeth and Ash have their eyes closed. Skye, what are you checking out? I want to see Ashley's fingers shoved up her nose. No, she does not do that. Does she? She was doing that. Does she have fingers and nostrils? This time she's got them plugged.
Skye, that means boogies are on the end of the... She was doing like this. Does she really? Yeah. This may be her downfall, though. Maybe fingers up the nose. They've been holding their breath now for 31 seconds. We'll see how long. Yeah. We'll see how long this will go. What is that? He's laughing. He wants to get out and he'll use it as a... Yeah. We are at 45 seconds. Why would he laugh? Why are you laughing? He's out. He's out. Is it hard for you to hold your breath, Rob? Yeah, but I was also staring at her and how she's doing this.
I can't get him Why can't he just do it I don't know but we're going to see It'll be either Zeth or Ash They are now at one minute Ten seconds This is impressive They both look calm Does David Blaine it'd just be 15 minutes to go Yeah that's right That's right they're doing well Ash is starting to show a little movement Just the slightest little movement She just took her hands off her nose She's out Zeth won
Ladies and gentlemen Wow Zeth was red in the face But he won I knew it I knew it What happened I don't care like with Zeth I didn't want to say it Zeth had a little twitch And he still hung in there Yeah He still hung in there He's got this weird facial tick Oh man Zeth won Hey listen Zeth Two apologies for you One I apologize for not having faith The first time And the second Apology is I'm really sorry about how much more Ashley's going to hate you for this I don't really care Anything to boost that guy's self esteem
I'm all for it I'm all for him And him winning Rob I thought you were going to come a lot stronger I don't know what happened He's a clown That's the deal is that the guy is a clown Big time Yeah great He drinks clown royale Yeah great uh 5701053 dr phil was explaining to jay leno last night about you know him trying to get that teenager that was in the teenage bullying video right the fight the girl fight video he can explain
because what was the story sky what did he do well basically what had happened is you probably remember this story it was all over the news about um this one girl was talking smack about some other girls on myspace they lured her into the home and then they beat her up on video a whole gang of them beat her up and then they all ended up being arrested well it was a huge news story everybody was talking about it but one of the girls who was kind of labeled the ringleader of the girls who beat up this other girl um couldn't make bail and all of a sudden a producer from the dr phil show shows up and posts bail for this gal and we don't know what the behind the scenes deal Well, the deal was, but everybody was speculating that it was in exchange for an exclusive on the show once the judge lifts the gag order in the case.
Now, this is on the heels of him going into Britney Spears' hospital room, you know, and then coming out of the hospital and making a press release. So, cut 29. Internet bullying, this deal in Florida with these girls. Did you see that? They invite this girl over out of nowhere and then just start wailing on her because of a boy. And I have such an anti-bullying campaign. And we were actually going to do that story in Florida, but got, I think, way too involved beyond our policy to be involved in a story in bailing this girl out of jail. So I dropped the story and I'm not going to do it.
But unfortunately, there are way plenty of examples. so he's admitting that they did bail her out because i mean for a while it was kind of like what's the deal you know and what their official stance was that dr phil and people in charge over at the dr phil show had no idea that this one producer was going so far as to bail this girl out but it turns out that this is like the very lowest level producer and this person would have needed approval from high
up to post the bail to get all that money, to get all that collateral. So, shady. That was a little shady. Oh, Dr. Phil. No, you're such an angel. There were some strange photographs of Britney Spears walking around her gym wearing only a towel, looking for a drinking fountain. Like at her house? I don't know, dude. No. Like a gym out in public where other people belong and work out. And I guess she was on the treadmill and then went into the locker room and took a shower and then decided she wanted to drink a water so started wandering around the inside of the gym while other people are on the elliptical just wrapped in a little towel so hopefully this
isn't the start of more bizarre behavior sweet but it's pretty i don't know but it got ashley's funny bone i'll tell you that hit it direct hit Yeah. Let's see. This is weird, man. In Spring Valley, a nine-year-old kid was chased by a guy yesterday wearing a hood in Spring Valley at a school. Yeah, right. He was on his way to school. It was Monday morning about 7.30 a.m. He goes to Bancroft Community School in Spring Valley, and he said he noticed a older black Honda with tinted windows and a long scratch on the driver's side door following him. The car then pulled over.
The driver got out and ran after him. He ran to school and told authorities they've sent home a flyer to notify all parents. He describes the person as a man between six feet and six feet two inches tall with a medium build, was wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes, black gloves, had the hood over his head with sunglasses on. That is weird. Dude. Creepy. Ladies and gentlemen, there is a study out that says Mexican food may reduce the risk of breast cancer. Wow.
I'm allergic to Mexican food. Oh, no. Allergic to Mexican food? Haven't you read my blog? Does she just say things? But I thought I've seen her eat burritos. That was before. This is post-rehab. Ever since post-rehab, I've been allergic to Mexican food. You're not allergic to it. I am, Eddie. Every time I eat it, I get sick. Really? I get nauseous and my stomach hurts and I feel like I'm going to throw up. Like, no joke. Really? Every time I eat Mexican food.
I can't eat it. I've blogged about it. Don't you read my blog? Never. Any kind of Mexican food? Any kind of Mexican food? Because I've tried everything. Yeah. It doesn't matter if it's a taco, rice, or beans, or a burrito, or a rolled taco. You should just get a side of rice. Oh. What? I'm saying. I thought that was a good idea. That's only in certain situations. That's right. Skye, well, listen, now we're this far in. Skye got a side of rice one time. Right.
She's got the squirts. Eddie. What were you guys looking at? What was going on there? You guys had a quick watch. Skye wants to make a comment on this ridiculous statement by Ashley. And she won't. Why? Go ahead, Skye. Skye, please. Go ahead, Skye. How about how Ashley's allergic to Mexican food? Go ahead. What did she eat that you witnessed? Oh, nothing. Nothing. I'm just a little confused. Yes. I love it. There's confusion. I love it already. Because, like, you know, say there's a chicken taco. Right.
You can eat chicken. You can eat lettuce. You can eat everything that's in a chicken taco, but if it's in the form. I never ordered chicken at Mexican food. Oh, maybe you should try that. No, because I feel like their chicken is maybe not the chicken that I want to eat. What does that mean? What does that mean, Ashley? Ashley, what does that mean? Please just say it. Mexicans are dirty. I said it. Oh, my God. I said it. Oh, my God. I said it. Please. I said it. Mike, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Mike.
No. Why is this happening? Okay, they're not dirty. They're filthy. Chickens are. No, it's just like... Don't they have, like, dirty... I heard once it's roosters. You don't know, though. Like, the thing is, is like... I see the chicken thing outside of Home Depot, and I'm like, where are you headed, buddy? Oh, my gosh. Like, you know, Sky, like, how I'm partially a vegetarian. Like, you know how meat can... I didn't know that. I did not know that.
You can't say that word that you just mentioned. I can't get it anymore. She breathes every day She's allergic to Mexican food Now she's a vegetarian And she eats meat every day What are you talking about? I can't take it anymore Can you even listen to yourself Get ready Come on Enough is enough Mike I swear I can't do this I only keep eat meat at certain times, or else
I can't eat it. It trips me out. What time? It trips me out. It trips me out. Most days. Most days I can't eat meat because I'm like, it trips me out. You eat fish all the time. Fish is different. Fish is not meat. Fish is not meat. Fish is fish. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays after four. My bad. After four. So, I don't get chicken because it trips me out. Eddie, I don't know why you're upset.
You know that she is a vegetarian? I can't think of it anymore, Mike. I'm a partial vegetarian. You know she's a vegetarian. Sometimes. You know that. Uh-uh. Why would it upset you? Just, you know she's a veggie. Of course. I'm having a headache. It trips her out. I don't even know what to say. This is my favorite segment of all time. Sucks, though. You could get me a hamburger. No, no. No way. I'm not in the mood.

There's a CHP cop sitting on the Fletcher Parkway on-ramp to westbound 8, monitoring the carpool lanes to see if, you know, you've got an extra driver, a rider in there, and that's what's causing the slowdown there.
The westbound 52, a little bit slow at the top of the summit there, but not too bad overall. Things are so tough out of the north county. South 15, slower, go off to 78 to Villarancho Parkway, bunching up again through Carmel Mountain Ranch. The South Ponce of the Five staying heavy as well from Lucadia in a salon at a beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the official home of the Mikey Morning Show. That's so funny, it deserves me to throw up. KIOC San Diego's Rock 105.3.
The Mikey Show. Now something you might have missed. Ashley. She was saying how. her boyfriend. My boyfriend. He will comment on things like her purses and she says she gets the message. I don't like your purse. I want you to have a designer purse. But the best thing you do is you just got to be really, you know, open in the communication. Like, uh... Because the message is loud and clear. The message is, well, I wish that you carried designer purses. I defend her right to use a glad trash bag as a purse. I do.
Welcome back, it's the Mikey Show at 817. Paula Abdul is making headlines today after she was extra loopy on American Idol last night. Well, Chargers assistant general manager Buddy Nick suddenly retires. Some people are saying he was forced out. What do you think, Eddie? Dude, I'm really upset about this. I love Buddy Nix.
He's such a good dude. Always really, really cool with me. I do think that something was going down because the team added longtime NFL general manager Randy Mueller as a senior executive. Randy Mueller? Didn't he? He was the general manager in New Orleans. And the Saints, wasn't he? Yeah. Seattle, a couple other places. And, you know, it would be really disappointing to me to find out that Buddy Nix was fourth down. He's an older guy. He's in his late 60s. But, man, he's really good at what he does, and he's really well-respected.
I met with him last year, and I think you did, too. I met with him before the draft last year. Right. And one of the things that I thought was really cool was that he said, when we're picking these young fellas, one of the things that we really look at with these young kids is character. And we don't want to get anybody in here. He's going to be a troublemaker in the locker room, and we want these kids to be of high character. Yeah. And I thought that was cool, you know. Yeah, you know, and there was a lot of talk last year about him maybe being the new general manager in Atlanta and stuff like that.
So, you know, I know that he's really well-respected around the league. I would just be really bummed if I found out that the Chargers management, you know, pushed him aside because he deserves better. This text message says, Go, Ashley. Meat is murder. Signed, Pamela Anderson. She was eating a hot dog. That's true. She was at the time. Maybe she's partial vegetarian. That could be. Maybe. Mikey, I was trying to hold my breath with the kids on the show, but Mikey said boogies and it made me laugh.
That's people on goat meal. Oh, man. Mikey, maybe she is sensitive to the lard and the fat, but not the Mexican food. It could be. Yeah. I could definitely see that because she eats very, very healthy now. Well, and that was the whole deal, too, is because, like, if I have... I don't know if that makes you allergic to it. If I ever eat, like, anything that's greasier or, like... You're just allergic to everything. Well, it could be any... It doesn't even have to be just Mexican food. It could be any kind of food that is just greasy. It's like the people on Survivor. After they're eating, like, straight fish out of the ocean and rice, you know,
and then they have a piece of chocolate cake and then they vomit everywhere. It's like that. It sounds like she... I can eat cake. That's fine. She likes cake. It's not a problem. Cookies and brownies. I can eat all of those. Can we move on, please? What about Mexican cake? Fruit with ice cream. That's dirty. I love churros. Ashley looks like she had her nails done. Oh, really? Ooh, la, la. I wonder if this is something that she's done for Mark. You know, she's growing her fingernails out for her boyfriend, Mark.
Cute. pink? Yeah. Wow. Did you notice, Eddie? Very feminine. What do you think of that? Do you love it or hate it, Eddie? You know, it's different for you. I've never seen that kind of... Long nails, and they're pink. Yeah. Wow. I think it's nice. Wow. It's a big change for me. Look at that. Wow. Oh. Wow. Wow. Pink. Wow. Oh, wow.
Wow. What did your boyfriend Mark say about him? Oh, my God, I love you so much. Mark, if you're listening, I love you so much. He hates my C-shirts. He said they were nice. He liked them. Yeah, he liked them. It's like crazy for me because I just don't know. They're long and they're pink. Like, normally I keep them really short and either, like, no color or I'll like them, like, black or, like, dark red. I decided to change it, though, because Mark likes it.
Mark! Oh, my God, my boyfriend, Mark! Oh, my God, you're my boyfriend, and I love you so much. I have a grandma purse. He's so great. What, Eddie? She wrote me this morning and said that last night she fed him cake. He did. Eddie's just got a look on his face. He's slow. I think Eddie's on Ashley Overload right now. He can't max out. Listen, I'm looking forward to the Rosie O'Donnell stuff. That's how out I am. This happens.
Eddie will reach a point. He will reach a point with Ashley's stuff. He's maxed out. He's maxed out. It's too much. It's too much. What? No. And you can't take any out. You can only put it in. You can't take any out. Why don't we move on to the Rosie O'Donnell? Do you got any great view clips? I'll take it right now. Can we first talk about how Ashley fed her boyfriend cake? I don't want to. You don't want to hear that? I don't want to.
Dude, Eddie. I'm losing bread. One question, bro. One question. Homemade chocolate frosting. One question. One question. What? What if it's cute? Homemade. There's no chance of that happening. That's chocolate frosting. No chance. Recipe I got for my grandma, Eddie. Just be quiet. What? Do you feed him with your fingers? What? Do you feed him with your fingers? No, I just heat it up for him, and I make sure that it's perfect. Eddie pushed the mic away and put his face in his hands. You know, I get him a napkin and a glass of ice-cold water or milk, whichever he prefers. But how's that feeding him?
And then I feed it to him with a fork. Oh, okay. Oh, then she fed it to him with a fork. No, no, actually what she does is she eats it, then feeds him like a bird. Ew. Ew. Her stomach can't handle all the fat. She's allergic. She has Mexican food and then... He doesn't really like it though, but... He doesn't like your cake? No, he doesn't really like it when I feed him. Like a bird. He's a baby or something. Oh, he doesn't like it when you feed him with a fork? No, he's irritated. He's nice about it because he loves me, but...
And you're not speaking to that, Mike. I love you so much. I love him so much. You have no style. Eddie, give him my big floppy bag. Hey. My feet are weird. All right. I need a foot job. Shut up. Potrilling bone. It's prominent. Oh, yeah. So, Rosie O'Donnell. Oh, here we go.
Thank you. Decided she was going to weigh in on the Miley Cyrus controversy. Well, of course she is. Here's your demo. Miley Cyrus in this Vanity Fair photo shoot. Looks like she is nude covering herself with a sheet. A lot of people are going, oh, man, it's a 15-year-old. And, you know, my thing yesterday, what I was trying to say was I just didn't understand it. I didn't get it. And I was saying, do you get it? Do you understand this? Why, you know, as you're listening, do you get why you would want to depict a 15-year-old nude in a sheet? Like, what's the, what is this here?
What's the message? What's the message? What's the point? What's the picture say? I don't get it. So, here is Rosie O'Donnell's take, cut 21. Listen, Annie Leibovitz, I had two photo shoots with her. You kind of do what she says. It's intimidating, Annie Leibovitz. i also didn't think it was a pornographic photo in any capacity i thought it was sort of a beautiful portrait you know i like the one of her and her dad too i don't know fanny lebowitz people you know leave miley cyrus alone disney making her I apologize.
Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye, aye. What is she, Chris Crocker now? Yeah. You're allowed. Okay. Boozy, you don't. I think what we've learned here is, first of all, shame on you. It was Annie Leibovitz. You just do what she says. Hello. Yeah. If she wants to, like, assault you, it's Annie Leibovitz. It's kind of the way it goes. She tells you dress like a baby, you dress like a baby. Yeah, if she says stick your thumb and suck your thumb, hey, listen. If she says curl up in a flower, you do it.
Yeah, great, I curl up in a flower. What am I going to do? What do you want from me? She says, hey, get in the crib there, dude. Stick your pacifier in your mouth. Great, make it number two. Go. I'm Annie Leibovitz. I'm Annie Leibovitz, all right? Yeah, picture, picture, fresh. Yeah, great. Yeah, yeah, here, here, here, number two. Yeah, great. Great. I'm Annie Leibovitz. This is just got weird. Here, here, here, steamer. All right. Well, anyway. It's ridiculous. Yeah. Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi.
Well, yeah. Yes, thank you. Yeah, Sean. Thank you. Yes. I mean, the deal is that you guys, shame on all of you, America. Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi. You didn't realize that's Annie Leibovitz. That's number one. Number two, this is, I don't think this is pornographic. Yeah, duh. I don't think anybody thinks it's pornographic. I don't think anybody says it's porno. No, we're saying it's inappropriate. Yeah, people are like, dude, that's Miley Cyrus. She's 15. What are you doing? Okay, maybe...
Oh, no. Oh, what is this? No. No. I'm just saying. No. I'm just going to propose a question. Don't propose. Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay. If the media didn't make a huge deal about this, and this picture came out in Vanity Fair, do you think it would have been a big issue? I don't think I would have flipped through Vanity Fair and been like, oh my gosh, that's inappropriate. A hundred and fifty percent, I say yes, Skye. You would have flipped through that magazine without hearing anything about this and been like, that's inappropriate. The whole reason that the media was even able to grab onto it
is because of what it is. It's a 15-year-old naked with a sheet on her. And it's not just any 15-year-old, it's Marley Cyrus. See, and to me, she's a performer. And I've seen plenty of little cheerleaders and dancers and bra tops and boy shorts shaking it and nobody seems to mind that is there any example i don't know is there any example of a 15 or 16 year old that's famous in television or mtv or something britney well what about when britney did her school girl she was it was provocative it wasn't inappropriate well some may have said it was inappropriate okay no no no because you and i
We're in our 20s and we're watching that going, hey, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You guys, Eddie, what was the phone call that I made to you? Yeah, check this out. What did I say, though? Yeah, you said, do you know who Britney Spears is? Yes. And I said, yeah. And you go, dude, have you seen this video? Right. Holy moly. Now, here was the deal. I'm calling Eddie. This was, I mean, this was 1998, something like that. It was like 98, 99. And I call Eddie, I'm watching the video, and I go, dude, who is this?
Because she was sexy. Now, at that time, I'd never heard the name Britney Spears. And it was before the end of the video, and so it hadn't come back on the screen and said, you know how it says in the beginning and the end. It says Britney Spears. And I hadn't seen that. All I knew is I saw the sexiest girl I'd ever seen in my life. So I call Eddie and I go, dude, have you seen this video where the girl's dancing around in the school graphic? And Eddie's like, yeah, it's Britney Spears. Because Eddie knows about stuff five years before it actually happens. He does.
He's very with it. Nostral Domus. That's right. He's Nostral Domus. Nostral. That's what we were calling Ashley when she was holding her breath. Nostral Domus. But I said, who's Britney Spears? Now, for all I knew, this was like a 22-year-old pop sensation. And Eddie goes, yeah, she's this new thing, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh, by the way, she's 17. No way. Okay. It's one thing when somebody is starting to break into the industry and you're learning about them, whatever. Miley Cyrus has already created an image of a young, Christian, sweet Disney character.
Exactly. That's who we know her as. Right. It'd be something completely different if we came to know Miley. Like JoJo. Okay, JoJo never came out to the world as a sweet Christian, like little angel halo. She never came out to the world like that. The way she came out to the world was as a pop star that was real, real young. And her music is provocative. And people don't talk about JoJo. People don't really talk about it. People don't make a big deal out of it. But we've talked about it on the show.
We've said, those lyrics are crazy for a 15-year-old. She's like, and I want to get up and you sing. I don't know about that. And then I want to do our, sa, sa, sing. It's strange, but. And you're alone. She's 15. Let's come over and do my fun. I've never heard that song. You've never heard Let's Come Over and Do My Fun? No, I never have. T-H-A-N-G. Wow. Sounds good. Yeah, sounds like the jam. But that's what I think the deal is, you know, with the Miley virus, is that she...
It's such a contrast. Such a contrast, because we know what the deal is already. I think the human body is beautiful. Oh, wow. It's a very mature... Wow. Some more than others. Wow. Wow. No, you're taking it now. It's getting creepy. And you didn't need to wink. And you just wink. P-1 Kristen. hi hi um i just wanted to say that um even when other stars have done it like lindsey lohan she was naked on the cover of annie v fair and britney spears was topless on different magazines it's just you're already a movie star or singer or whatever and people are always looking at you
and seeing you all the time why would you want to share the most like intimate parts of you with the whole world. Well, I think that what happened with the Smiley Myrus is that this Annie Leibovitz convinced her and her parents that this was going to be something. Oh my goodness. She's very upset about the picture. That is true. What is going on? That is the youngest upset person in America. It's the youngest person in America upset about what's happening to the Smiley virus.
But anyway, yeah, so I think that parents and Miley were convinced that it was going to be artistic and very, you know, artsy. Yeah, well, even with her dad, though, he said he would never want her to be like Britney Spears or any of the other people. I don't think he did. I don't think he did. I don't think he does. I think he thought this was artistic. But then why now does he not? Just because the public and the media is making a deal about it? I'll tell you why I think. I'll tell you why I think that maybe he doesn't. Because maybe what they showed him in the beginning was a photograph of her in the jeans with the sheet and maybe from an angle that didn't reveal as much back.
And then what we see is what they knew all along they were going to do, a cropped photo, can't see the jeans. It looks like she's totally nude with a sheet over her. And it's a view that shows a lot of her back. And maybe he's like, maybe he went, wow. I never thought of that. Wow. I didn't look sexy back. It could have said wow. Wow. P1 Bone Marrow is on the line. What's up? Hey, Mike. How's it going? Good. Long time listener, first time calling her, but I got a great example for you.
All right. How about Brooke Shields in Blue Lagoon when she was that young? I think she did a full, when she was about 15 years old, did a full naked spread. She did a full nude spread. And in one of the, I think in the movie, like pretty. Dude, look on IMDb. One of those girls, Brooke Shields or it was either Brooke Shields or Jodie Foster, or one of those girls, they did like a full nude scene when they were 15 in a movie. I thought that was like her claim to fame is when she did a blue lagoon.
That's how she became. Well, when she did Blue Lagoon, I believe, I mean, she was running around topless. They weren't showing, you know, they didn't show anything because her hair was covering or anything. But the nude scene, I believe, was a body double. Really? I believe, I can almost, I'm almost positive. I'll have to look it up. Well, we all use body doubles for our scenes here in the studio. That's true. Well, because wouldn't it be illegal? I mean, wouldn't it be illegal to show a nude 15-year-old in photo? I seem to remember some controversy. I seem to remember some controversy in the 70s about something like this.
Murmur. I don't know. Murmur. Oh, murmur. Yeah, I thought that boost occurred to her stardom. Same exact kind of thing. But Siley, yeah, she's not naked. She's young. Siley. That's right. Siley's, I don't know. What are you going to do? What do you guys think of that thing, Sean TV? What do you guys think of that? Oh, I love Sean. I like Sean in the TV. I think maybe we should do a little Sean TV when we come back. Yeah.
I think we should do that. Yes. Sean introducing a new TV show that no one watches and that we will play audio from. You're next. The Mikey Show. All gay. All the way. The Mikey Show is on. I took my three-year-old in there, which is typically a bad idea because she doesn't have the ability to self-calm herself yet. I digress. Looking much better as this commute winds down here this morning. Better looking speeds throughout the county, mainly on the 5 and 805 northbound of the South Bay. The westbound at 94, looking great in the downtown. Your west, eight rides, a smooth ride in the Mission Valley. This text message says, Eddie, is there any truth to the rumors the Padres are looking to trade Khalil Green for a big bat? Love the show, sign P1 Cougar Hunter.
I have not heard that. This text message says, rules for eating, eating meat at certain times, is actually a gremlin? Text us at 35253. I agree with Sky, the rules are different in show business. And the photos were more artistic versus the provocativeness of Britney Spears. beside P1 social worker. What do you think? 570-1053. What do you think of these pictures
of the miney sinus? Miney sinus. P1, Rachel. Hello. Hello. Hey, how are you? Good, what do you think? I actually don't see anything wrong with those photographs. I've certainly seen photographs of young adults that were inappropriate but I thought that those photos were actually quite beautiful and tasteful then you're somebody that I want to ask well I actually have a daughter who is also trying to break into the business to a degree who is also 15 yeah and I've taken photographs
of her that some people might think were provocative like what like bikini pictures but again this This is a young adult. She's not posed sexually. I really think that there's a difference between someone being... How is she posed? I'm sorry? How is she posed? Almost similar to the Miley Cyrus. But she's in a bikini? Sure, yeah, there's some bikini shots and she's like... What's the, what is the... Rachel, what is the point, though, of those pictures? Like, I don't get it.
And perhaps start a modeling career and also... But in the bikini... You know, we don't look... Wait, Rachel, Rachel. Wait, wait, stop. Hang on. There's nothing wrong with taking a picture of a picture. Rachel, please, please. She's passionate. I beg you. Okay. I wish I had taken a long time when I was at age. Thank you very much. I really do. Appreciate it. Okay. Rachel, may I... Rachel. Yes. May I ask you a couple of questions? Sure. Okay. First of all, I was really interested when you said that you didn't think there was anything wrong with the pictures because i've actually been wanting to ask someone who has this opinion
what they thought the point of the pictures were because i didn't get it i was like i don't get it 15 year old naked with a sheet i don't under i don't get it well not naked okay topless appearing naked implying naked yeah i mean it's supposed But, okay, a person that doesn't know, a person that doesn't know that she's wearing jeans can't see the jeans. I don't, it really doesn't matter. It's a photograph of a young adult's back.
She is 15. They're at a place already where they're learning their own sexuality. There's nothing wrong with it. Okay, okay, okay, okay. I got, I got, I got. I got, I got, I got. It's an exploitive sex grossness. So, Rachel, let me ask you, because you said that you would like for your daughter to get into modeling. She would like. Okay, she would like to get into modeling, and you would like to help her get into modeling. I'd like to help her do whatever she wanted. So you took pictures of her in a bikini, and you thought, okay. And my question is, you know, of all the choices, why that one?
Because models have to be comfortable in everything. They have to model anything from underwear to bikinis to shoes to diamonds to anything. A model cannot be someone who is modest, unnecessarily modest. A model has to be comfortable in their own skin and love themselves and know their angles and the way that they look and everything. I'm not sure you guys know what a model is. Now, I know what a model is. I was thinking of a model car. Yeah, I don't know what it's going to be.
I was like, that was an airplane. What was that? You know, I'm like, can you spell it? Just so I kind of. She's not showing anything. She's not posed in some disgusting offensive. So, but are you telling me, P.O. and Rachel, that if a male saw these pictures, he wouldn't be, like, turned on by your 15-year-old daughter? I cannot control that a man is a pervert. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. But Rachel, wait, Rachel, you, Rachel, Rachel.
She's a loud talker. Rachel. She only has one part of the phone. Rachel, inside voice. Rachel, inside voice. Rachel. This is unbelievable. Rachel. Rachel. Rachel. Go buy a burka for your 15-year-old daughter. Oh, a burka. I don't think that's what the point is. Rachel, you said you can't control if a man is a pervert. Nope.
But you can control what your daughter wears. What she puts out there. Thank you. No, you know what I mean? No, I can't. I can't, Mike. I can't control that. No control. I had no control over my fingers snapping off photographs. The camera just started out of control, you know, snapping off 400. Oh, there it goes again. Help someone. Is there a neighbor that can hear this? Please help me. My daughter's wearing a bikini and I can't stop taking pictures. I think you should see the pictures before you...
Well, wait, wait, wait, wait, hang on a second. You should not be sending those pictures around, lady. You just said. You just said. You just said. You just said. You just said. You just said. Meet his murder. Meet his murder. Coleslaw is murder. Hey, Rachel, would you eat your dog? Would you take a picture of your dog? Would you take a picture of your cat? She's still talking. I hate her. Well, I hate you, too.
No, no, no. Oh, she heard that? Rachel, Rachel, Rachel. That's the one thing you hear? I'm not going to let this go. I'm not going to let this go. Rachel, I'm not going to let it go, though. We are perverts because people like you. Rachel, I, I. Yeah, people like you. Let's say you hate her until you hear it. Rachel, Rachel, wait. Please. No, I'm going to reason with her. I'm going to. I'm going to reason with her. I don't know. Are you sure? I promise you I will change her. You will not change her. I will change her.
You can't, Mike. I can't. You can't. You can't. Rachel. Please. I beg you to listen to me. I just have a couple of questions and a couple of comments. Mm-hmm. I said you can control the photographs that you take, and I just want to hear what your answer to that is. You can't control the perverts. You're right. Say what? Of course I can. Okay. You said I can't control the perverts. I said I agree, but you can control you. You know, let me tell you something, too.
I'm not going to let it go. I'm not going to let it go. I'm not going to let it go. Don't let it go. I'm not going to let it go I will drive this point home If it kills me I am not going to let it go I will get this point out If it kills me I'm not going to let it go That's so annoying. Oh, you're laughing.
You're laughing. How did she hear that out of everything? Out of everything. Oh, you. I bet that no man would ever go near her or want to look at pictures of her. Are you talking about me? Who are you talking about? You're tripping. You're tripping. Okay, everybody. Everybody calm down. Why is she attacking me? I don't know. You're tripping, and I wasn't even saying anything about her. I'll tell you why she is, because she got mad, because I got her. I haven't seen the pictures that I took of my daughter. I said, though, I said. My new best friend right here.
Rachel, wait a minute, lady. Rachel, we're going to, hang on. We're going to give you all of our home phone numbers, and we want you to hang out with us. I would love that. P1 Ray is on the line. Ray, go ahead. The horrible pornographic pictures I took of my daughter. Ray. No one said that. No one said that. Ray, go ahead. Ray. What is wrong with this phone? Ray, are you there? Go ahead, dude. Hey, I'm not sure about this Rachel lady or this celebrity thing or anything like that,
but I don't care who you are. You've got a 15-year-old daughter, and you start popping off pictures like this. Where does the parenting go? What happened to being a responsible parent today? Is the minute your kid's going to do stupid things? Absolutely. But the minute you condone it, it's a horrible parent. Rachel? Am I supposed to respond to that? I'm not calling you telling you what kind of parent to be. When you walk on the beach, there's tons of people in bikinis and bathing suits aged, you know, two weeks to 99 years old. Yeah, Rachel.
Yes, Rachel. Imagine if their parents were taking pictures of it to help their career. I'm not exploiting my child. I'm not exploiting my child. Oh, boy. Oh, this is broken down. People are so pent-up sexually. Oh, here we go. Oh, God. What are you talking about? Yeah, if this was Europe, no one would care. Stine, you're not helping. What? Oh, I thought I felt cold. Stine. Yeah. Don't egg her on. Everyone is so ashamed of their bodies. That's why everyone's in a wreck, secure, and crazy.
I drive a Dodge Stratus. Meat is murder. I'm a flail. Meat is murder. Ash is allergic to Mexican food. That's true. I don't know what we're yelling about. We'll buy your kids' burqas, and my child will grow up to be very comfortable and happy in her own skin, okay? We have a text message supporting you, Rachel. Wow. We have a text message supporting you. It says, Mikey, lay off Rachel. Aw.
I am in full support of her, and what she wants to do is good for her daughter. Signed, Dina Lohan. Oh, I don't. Wow. That's not someone I'd want to support. Wow. That's a big celebrity supporter. That's a real big celebrity. I think she'll get an Academy Award for this picture. Look at that. Hey, Lindsay Lohan's mother supports you, Rachel. That's kind of good. Well, then maybe you can give me your phone number. We can have coffee. Yes, that sounds wonderful. That's aggressive. Thank you for the phone call, Rachel. Jen, thank you for, you know, helping me remember that grown men can be fine. year olds, too. My 15-year-old daughter
is more mature than you. Have a nice day. We will. Have a good one. I miss you already. I hope she'll call back tomorrow. Strangest call in five months. What just happened? That's the strangest call that we've had in five months. How so? Awesome. Wow. No, I don't want that song. You don't want that song? Or do you want this song? Let's try again. I heard that one. My daughter's bringing sexy back.
Mikey. My daughter likes Hannah Montana. It's okay with me because she seems decent among all the teeny bopper stars out there. I'm even more disturbed that some people think it's no big deal. That is... I would kind of share that opinion if you want, Dustin. Mikey. Wow. Wow. Wow. I can't believe that I thought Sky was a beating. I really agree with her. Rachel is the beating. Beat on, signed P1 Firecracker. Look at that, Sky.
We've got to take a quick timeout. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 570-1053. The Mikey Show. It's all gay. All the way. The Mikey Show is on. Rock. 1053. Thank you. Hey, mama, happy Mother's Day. Well, there's no one who gives as much as you. Today's your day, now it's our turn.
Let's take your worries all the way, give you a special Mother's Day. Let's go. Let go of where to go this Mother's Day. Go Outback, where the pasta is bold, the steaks are juicy, the chicken tender. It's a nice way of saying thanks. No worries.
This Mother's Day, we're open at 11. Every day is Mother's Day. Go Outback. Let's go Outback tonight. Here's my suggestion for you. Go to Amco one time, and you will stop taking your car to the dealership or to other places to do the stuff that they do. Maybe you're like, well, I'm not really sure what they do. Maybe you're not really sure what they do, period. And maybe some of you know that they do transmissions.
Maybe some of you don't even know what a transmission is. It's a part of the car that does what our legs do for us. That's what the transmission of your car does. But Amco doesn't just do transmissions. They do oil changes. They do brakes. They do tune-ups, cooling systems. They do all that kind of stuff. But the difference between them and taking it to the other body shops or to your dealership is that they want to replace stuff. Amco just wants to fix it for you. So the suggestion is, go to Amco. You can remember their name very easily.
They are double A, M-C-O. You can't smell it on my breath. It doesn't make me stumble around or pass out. It doesn't mess up my ability to drive. I loved the action, and I thought I could win it all back. Nobody could tell I had a problem. I wouldn't believe it.
For a while, it was easy to hide. In the end, I lost more than money. I lost myself. I lied. I lost my job. I hurt everyone who cared about me. If you want to read our blogs, just go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. And type in the keyword blogs. You know, we are doing a sticker strike. Oh, yeah. And it's going to be pretty amazing. We're going to take calls here in just a second because people are calling in about P1 Rachel who just called in. But on May the 10th, this is going to be a Saturday from 10 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon. We're going to be doing a live broadcast from The Q.
And it's the next generation P1 sticker strike. It's the second one we've ever done. First one, we shut down pretty much all of southbound Interstate 15. And this time when we decided to do it, we had to have the assistance of the San Diego Police Department. The reason? You people. That's awesome. There are many of you people that call yourselves P1s, Mikey Show listeners. And when we do these things, you come out and you want these stickers.
And that's cool. We're real stoked about it. If you haven't seen the sticker yet, it's on the website. It looks awesome. I think if you go to MikeyShow.com and you type in the keyword sticker, you can see it. Yeah, it's sick. It's brand new. And so when you come out there, you drive through, we'll put a sticker on your car. Now, one person is going to win a Kawasaki 2008 Ninja 250R from the House of Motorcycles. One person that goes out there is going to win that. Now, everybody that goes out there, though, is guaranteed to get a gift certificate for $50 towards a good neighbor tattoo and a free car wash from Massey Toyota.
That's everybody. So no matter what, you're going to get at least that. You get at least that no matter what. And the sticker. Huge. Exactly. Those of you that already have our old generation sticker, it's time to upgrade. That's cool. I'll just put the new one right next to it. That's right. So, $200,000 in cash and prizes up there. Yeah! Dang. $200,000 in cash and prizes. Awesome! Here's some of the stuff we got. How about a flat-screen TV from Encinitas TV? Yes, please.
I'm in. Who would want season tickets to the 08 Charger season? Oh, my God, since we're talking about America, I love you. Oh, my God. I love him. Yeah. How about a $2,500 gift certificate from audio car toward audio video equipment? That is awesome. Or a $1,000 gas card. Oh, wow. So basically four gallons of gas. Yep.
The number one concern for Americans right now is gas. That's right. I'll take it. Not that. Mike, please. He's allergic to Mexican food. What does that have to do with anything, Eddie? We want to see you out there is what we're saying. I think it answers a lot of questions. It's not even like that, bro. They're going to have a big old stage out there. My dad has this way of he asks these particular questions like something will be really gigantic. My dad has this way. He'll ask these crazy off-the-wall questions that will diminish the event. I love it.
Like what? Will Metallica be out there? Oh, Danny. And I go, no, Dad, you know, they're not, no, no. But it's going to be really, really big, you know. It's going to be awesome. Yeah, it's huge. What about, you know, like the Navy? Will they bring out, like, their jets and stuff, you know, they do the flyover? Wow. No, Dad, they're not. Oh. Oh. Okay. Yeah. What about celebrities? Will you have celebrities be there, like movie stars? It's not really about that.
No, Dad, it's not really, you know what I mean? $200,000 worth of cash and prizes. Oh, that's great. That sounds great. What bands will you have there? Dad, we just... You have the Guns and Flowers? Guns and Flowers is going to be there. Nurse. Yeah, he's a movie star. My dad, you should get him out there, man. Slap some stickers on those cars, dad. And every time he can go, nurse.
Nurse. So, hey, listen. The P1 sticker stop, Cricket Wireless, U.S. Border Patrol. We all teamed up together to put this thing on for you. It's going to be the bomb. The bomb. It could be awesome. May 10th, Saturday morning. Write it down. Mikey, make Rachel stop. Mom is living vicariously through her daughter. Her words where she said she wished that she could have done it. Putting her own kid at 15 out there and calling her a young adult is ludicrous.
She's not living in reality and is putting her kid at risk. Tell her to watch that Chris Hansen show. She's one of those crazy parents. It's sad. Signed, P1, stuck in the trunk. I'm glad you said that. Stuck in the trunk. Should we call someone? Shouldn't they have texted about that? Apparently, they thought this was a big issue. Here's this person stuck in a trunk, but they're like, you know what? This is a bigger issue than my situation. I need to chime in. I need to solve this problem in America, and then me. First Miley, and then my safety.
Then I'll get out of the trunk. So we text back and we say, hey, we talked to the Ciruses, problem solved. And they're like, thank goodness. Help! Help! P1, boats. Boats. What's going on, Mikey? What's going on, man? Okay, I have a 13-year-old daughter. And with MySpace, Facebook, and all that, I watch every little picture she takes of herself. So I have all her passwords and, like, I take, you know, the ones that may be even, even showing, like, her chestal section, ew, I take off.
You know, it's ridiculous. Ew. This woman. Her chestal section, ew. Ew. Ew. Sorry, she's my kid. Have you ever blogged the web? Yeah, you know, you ever go on that, uh, internet? Yeah, the WW. Go on that, dude. That thing, whatever. Dude, blog it. Yeah. You don't belong on that. Dude, I'm telling you, web that thing. Surf the space, man. Surf it. My sister got into modeling when she was younger. We both were. I wasn't distracted, so she got it better than I did. Anyway, so she had an...
And it screwed her up. Really? She's 28 years old. She doesn't... She's, like, never had a steady boyfriend. And she's always dated men twice her age. Because of the modeling? Yeah, I swear to God, because she got into modeling, then she moved to Vegas, then she started working in Vegas, and then she started being a bartender here. She never got into stripping, thank God, but she, you know, she got into that. And because her mother, we have different, you know, different moms, but her mother wanted to treat her as a young adult. It screwed her up.
Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I got a question. Question. There's 10 girls. They're all models. They're all under 18. Out of the 10 girls, how many of them go on to be like well-adjusted and totally healthy? Out of the 10, in your opinion, just your opinion. I've never thought of that until the guy said it, honestly. You know, I've always known, well, you know, you hear stories, but we don't hear all the stories. We don't hear the success stories. Maybe we don't hear the stories about people that are actually really well-adjusted, well-to-do, healthy.
You know, I know that when young girls get into modeling, there's, you know, some like body issues that they tend to have and self-esteem issues and things like that. But I don't think it's a crazy number. So we're doing that. How many of them are well adjusted, well off out of 10 girls? I'll say seven. Wow. Yeah, I'm saying it's going to be. It's OK. Wow. Wow. Wow. Oh, wow.
Wow. Skye. Yeah, see, there's so many variables to this question. Like, was she modeling for the local JCPenney? Was she like a national model? Was she living with her parents? Was she not? Like, there's just too many variables. She's making a living. She's making a... So she's a professional model on like a national level. She's not like a weekend... She's not like a weekend... At Bernie's. She's not a weekend at Bernie's is what I'm saying. Like a dead person that her friends are trying to pretend is alive.
Well, then that changes everything. With the sunglasses on. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Well, in that case, I will say five. So half. Yeah. You guys... Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay. You guys are optimistic. Yeah. I was thinking that I was being super optimistic. I was going to say, I think at least two of those girls will be well adjusted. I was going, at least two of those girls will be well-adjusted and be really well-off, I think. They're going to get that jacked up by just modeling? Yes. Look at Tyra Banks.
I think so. I think so. I think that that thing. Tyra Banks is a very successful businesswoman. Yeah, but I think she's jacked. She's a little loopy, dude. You watch her show, and she's constantly, like, when she talks about herself and, like, her experiences and stuff, it doesn't sound right. She had Naomi Campbell on the show 90 years after they got into a fight to cry about. It doesn't sound right. I think she's an idiot. I don't know that that comes from modeling. Idiot. No, I think that the industry is crazy. As I'm sitting here thinking about it, I'm like, man, you got the whole like stick your finger down your throat. You have to, you know, compete with the other girls.
You have the whole, okay, but I want to. So one girl's like out of the 10, one girl's like, well, I'm not doing that because my mom taught me better than that. And then you have the whole like, hey, want to hang with us? where are the pretty cool models? Come hang with us. Yeah, yuck. And then the girl that said no. Huh? They get colds. They get colds all the time. And so she's like, you want some Nase and X? They're always hanging out together. But so the girl that said no to the thing,
and the eating disorder now has to say no to also some coke. You're talking me out of my finger, Mike. And so then that girl, she makes it through the bulimia, she makes it through the coke, and then this other girl is like, oh my goodness, I cannot even tell you how glad I am I just got out of the modeling because I found out that I danced one night and made two grand. And now the girl that said, no to coke
and no to bulimia is having to say no to two grand a night. You know where that happens a lot? Rob's. My lawn. Rob's house. My lawn. Rob's house. My old apartment. Yeah, so 5701053. What do you think? What are your thoughts? Text us. 35253. Mikey show. Hello. Oops, wrong line. Mikey Show, is this P1 Jen? Yes, hi.
Hi. Hey, I have a comment about Rachel. She said that comment about she can't control the perverts. I almost lost it. Because if nobody took any pictures of her half-nude daughter, that means zero people would curve out on her daughter. And it blows my mind that she thinks she's contributing to the well-being of her child instead of protecting her purity. My kids, I have two teenagers and a 10-year-old, and I'm going to do everything I can to protect their purity, and they're going to be way more well-adjusted than if I threw them out to the wolves and let them get devoured,
because I can't help it that wolves are hungry. I agree with you, and I wanted to, I wanted to drive that point home. You don't need to sing it. But she wouldn't let me. Thank you, P1 Jen. Well said. P1 Navy wife's got her kid in modeling right now. Yes, I do. She's 15 months old, and she's gorgeous. She's 15 months? Yes. Yeah, you're 15 months old in the modeling. Yeah, baby modeling, you know, like the Gerber baby. Yeah, how did you get it? How did it go down?
Well, I'm working with an agency online. It's called Kid Talent Network, and they help mothers and parents get their foot in the door as far as, you know, finding an agent because it's really a business where you've got to know someone to know someone. And so they're the, I know them, and they help me know Asians. Sky has a question. Do you hope that your daughter will have a long career in modeling through her teen and, you know, early 20s? I do. But I do because I plan to be very much involved.
You know, be there. You mean unlike the other parents who go into it who plan to not be involved whatsoever? Don't they all, I mean, wouldn't every parent go into it with that want and whatever, but know that you can't be around your kid all the time and none of us can modeling or not, but isn't modeling a, isn't modeling an industry that's sort of indicative of many more dangers? Yeah, but I mean, like, if you look at Tyra Banks, you know, you see pictures of her all the time with her mom. And if you watch, like, the Tyra Banks show or you watch Next Top Model, she's always making comments about, you know, my mom is a, and how much her mom is a part of her life, both as a person and as a model.
And you look at her and how successful she is and how, you know, normal, I mean, she really comes across. And that's how I want to be with my daughter in her career. All right. That's a tough one. Yeah. What do you guys think? What do you think? 570-1053. Eddie, what do you think? You know, I don't know that it's as bad as we think. I mean, we do definitely hear, like, a lot of the horror stories. But there's got to be, you know, a lot of success stories, too. Maybe there is.
570-1053-35253. What do you think? Sean TV's coming up. Yeah! Yeah! Dear people of the world, The Mikey Show is on. But at what cost? At what cost? This is The Rock. Now's the time to buy your dream home. And Navy Federal offers a wide variety of mortgages with the options you want.

It is the Iron Man fashion show, as you know. It doesn't get any better than this. It doesn't. It really doesn't. It doesn't? No. Let's begin the catwalk music, please. Hopefully you practice your walks. And look at that, ladies and gentlemen. He is walking down the catwalk, and we are looking at a man that has made a foam, what looks like a foam sumo wrestler. Oh, what the heck is he shooting at, Ashley? He just sprayed stuff out of his cysts at Ashley. And let's go to our first one, Eddie. Eddie, what do you think?
Well, let me tell you something. This Iron Man is going for the original Iron Man look. Oh, okay, okay, yes. The traditional Iron Man look. I really appreciated his styrofoam diaper. Yeah, that was sexy. That was my favorite part of the outfit so far. Okay. Ashley got sprayed in the face. I'm next. All right. Okay. It can only be Mikey with Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show.
It is 929. David Blaine will attempt to break the underwater breath-holding record on Oprah today. Jason Taylor is pretty upset at Bill Parcells and the Dolphins. Our text number is 35253. And our phone number is 5701053. Rebecca is suspicious of this, and now I am suspicious of this. What? My dad, he's got problems with the heart. And so I wanted him to go see this doctor. His insurance is Kaiser.
And maybe listeners can give insight on this, know how it works. But he goes, and he's been having the chest pains again. My dad had a heart attack last 4th of July in 07. Then he had kind of a recurrence of it in, like, December or January. uh this last december this last january well he says his chest is hurting again so i told him dad you gotta i said make an appointment with the doctor that you saw when you had your heart attack because my dad really liked the guy and he told my dad that he showed my dad like on the on
the screen exactly what his veins look like and you know what was clogged and all that stuff so i said go back see that guy see that guy so my dad goes back and he says that they would want my dad to take a stress test and that's two thousand five hundred dollars and that he has to do that first and then they can see what's up if anything and then the doctor's fees are 150 bucks per visit So he says what he did was he called Kaiser and made an appointment with his regular doctor and is going to ask if it's okay to send some of his records to this doctor that we're talking about to get any drugs that he feels that he should take different than what he's taking now.
So my dad is basically saying, well, I can't afford the 2,500 and I certainly can't afford 150 a visit. And what Rebecca's saying is she's like, that doesn't sound right. She's like, if a guy, if, if a Kaiser, if he belongs to Kaiser and if a Kaiser doctor, I don't know that this is a Kaiser doctor. That's the deal. That's the problem. Cause my pop, cause your insurance only covers Kaiser stuff. And so anything done out of Kaiser is going to come out of pocket. So that's the deal, right? done out of kaiser this stress test yeah that this doctor who's maybe not a kaiser doctor but kaiser may offer a stress test and if they do then it'll be covered i don't know so he needs to talk to
them all i know is that they've known my pop's problem for a long time nobody's told him anything about a stress test and i think that the stress test would be good i think that whatever it is may reveal something like it's the more tests the better you know but that's a thing every time my dad goes to kaiser they're like oh you look great go on home no my dad's like my chest hurts and they're like yeah you know what it's just your little heartburn you need to fight like whenever you know especially with a big company like that you need an advocate there who's willing to fight and not take no for an answer because they'll do that they'll just push you right out the door it's so gnarly i know it sucks but that's the way medicine is these days you need somebody by
your sight to fight for you and not take no for an answer so well i wonder if that's what the deal is is that it's just that it's uh out of kaiser out of kaiser yeah it's a bummer man so we'll see yeah because you guys know man i'm really concerned about pops i want to make sure he's all hooked up but that's just it's i thought she was right i thought it does sound weird because when we went when he had to go to the we took him to just a regular hospital wasn't a Kaiser hospital.
He just took him to the hospital. So that must be what the deal is. This dude's not Kaiser. Let's see. Six Rancho Bernardo high school students are suspended for hacking a computer to change their grades. Smarties. I've always wanted to do that. It's gnarly. But they'll get extra credit in their computer class. Like 90210. It happens, Ash. Yeah, you've got to at least try. So, yeah, they've been suspended, and they're still investigating before, you know,
they're saying that these kids definitely did this, but right now they're suspected of it and are on suspension until further notice. I wonder how they'd prove it. Yeah, well, they say that they could tell that the system was hacked and somebody was messing around in there, you know, changing grades and accessing tests. So I guess all they have to do is go back to the teacher's records, you know. Match them up. And compare them to the computer records, and then you'll screw. Uh-oh. P1 Jamers. Hey, Mikey. Hi.
Hi. I do registration and insurance billing. I've done it for about 10 years, and I can kind of give you some advice with your dad if you like. Please. Okay. So here's the thing. First of all, he has to have this stress test. Do not take it lightly. He needs to have it done. Any cardiac issue, stress test is number one needs to be done. So that, you need to make sure he gets that done. You need to be really forceful with him and make sure he does it. Kaiser has cardiologists. Kaiser is an HMO. He needs to stay within his Kaiser HMO. This other doctor is not Kaiser, so he's paying out of pocket for anything he does with this other doctor.
Okay, wait, wait. Let's pause, though. Let's pause for a minute. Okay. He loves his Kaiser doctor. Okay. His Kaiser doctor doesn't do jack. His Kaiser doctor, every time my dad goes and sees him... kaiser doctors is female she goes every time she's every yeah and every time he sees her she goes you're you're fine and he's like i have chest pains and she goes it's normal it's gonna happen and he's like i said dad please go see that doctor that was real good that you saw when you had your heart attack and that doctor says i believe we should get a stress test on you
now the cardiologist with kaiser she's not saying that she's like yeah take an aspirin you'll be fine. See you later. Okay. So does he like his primary care doctor, his main doctor with Kaiser? Yeah. Okay. So this is what you should do. You should go in with him to his appointment with his regular doctor. Tell the regular doctor, we've been told we need a stress test. The cardiologist that you sent us to is saying no. Could you either A, order the stress test for us or B, give us another cardiologist within Kaiser because Kaiser, if your dad, I mean, out of pocket, they're telling you the $2,500 and the $150 a visit, they're not telling you everything.
Anytime they do an EKG on those visits, that's going to be another $100 to $150. Anything they do is going to add to it. So while he's thinking, yeah, I might be able to pull the $150 a visit out, maybe, You're talking maybe $400 or $500 a visit after they do this and that and this and that. Blood work is ridiculously expensive out of pocket. If he has Kaiser, you guys have to, if you're trying to deal with the financial situation of it, you have to stay within Kaiser. But you as a patient, you can be his advocate as his son. Go into the primary care doctor with him and say, look, this is what this other cardiologist says.
He's not within Kaiser. We cannot afford to go out of pocket to another facility. It's really important that he gets a stress test, we believe. And nine times out of ten, that primary care doctor is going to say either I can order that stress test for you through Kaiser or I will refer you to another cardiologist. Done. There we go. Nice. Done. Thank you, Jamers. You're welcome. Love the show. Appreciate it. Love your show. Love your show, too. That's great information for anybody. I didn't know that.
I didn't either. I didn't know that you had to do that. Skye, have you had to do that? Yeah, you've got to fight with them. I mean, you have to fight. And if you have to go to a different doctor within, you have to. But you can't. I mean, you're screwed. Your only option is you cannot leave the system unless you're willing to pay out the wazoo. For Kaiser. Right, for Kaiser. Well, yeah, if you have an HMO. If you have a PPO, then the benefit of that is you get to pick whatever doctor you want. But within their network of doctors, you know. Yeah, there's a person on the line and I don't, yeah, I don't want to like, they basically,
they said that they had a tumor and were told that they had indigestion. It's terrible. Yeah, I ended up in the hospital because of, you know, something when I went to Kaiser. It's probably because they just don't want to deal with it. Yeah, yeah. And then they called me a few days later after I was released from the hospital and goes, you know what we think and i'm like no i'm good because i was in the hospital all weekend on an ivy so thanks figured it out on my own yeah it sucks you just you got to fight you can't really you know you got to do your own research yeah i didn't have an advocate i didn't know this advocate
thing and so now i'm gonna be i'll do it for my pop i didn't realize that you have to go in well first of all i didn't realize if you were a normal person that you could tell them i want you to do this i thought that they're doctors and they're like you don't tell me what i you know No, they're working for you. And if they don't want it, then you get a different doctor within the system. Yeah. Didn't know it. Yeah, you're paying them, dude. I like it. Yeah. And if they don't want to listen to me, I'm going to put Sky on it, and then it's going to get ugly. Don't do that. Yeah, P1 Ryan just sent me a message saying he was told he had a pinched nerve,
and it turns out that actually his vertebrae was out of place. And that's why he had to end up having all those back surgeries. But they're still telling him, oh, it's a pinched nerve. Brutal. hypnosis much? We're going to do this today. I'm going to get him dialed in today. Do it. Do it. I think this is just a matter of opinion. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that in my professional opinion, we should do something like this. Oh, David. Whatever Sean likes, sounds good to me. Yeah.
Well, you know that it might be not as gay as something. Watch my mic. When he's watching, you know And he's kind of on Ashley. This is on TV. Yeah! Singing. Yeah, I think Eddie's reached that point. Maybe some people would like to hear that open without her singing over it, but I could be wrong. I think you are. Sorry, Eddie. Uh-oh. Eddie?
What do you think, Eddie? He's reached his fill. He's reached his Ashley fill. He's maxed out. He said, you know what? I'm good. He said, you know, thank you. He's maxed out. Whatever. Yeah, it's the equivalent of when they're, you know, pouring you some wine and you go, thank you. Put your hand out. Okay. Thank you very much. You're getting the ground pepper. Yeah. That's enough. Thank you very much. That's enough. Thank you very much. And they keep going. Stop. Stop it, you jerk. No more. I hate it.
Thank you. I said no more. He's got a mound of pepper in front of him right now. I really hate pepper today. Extra pepper. I like pepper on everything. Sean, what are we going to be looking at today on Sean TV? No. No. No, we're not. We're going to look at Banachek because we've looked at Banachek before. It's like the fifth time now. Dude, first of all, Banachuk is this guy, he's like a, he like speaks to the dead dogs and stuff. He's like a dental hygienist.
He's a dental hygienist investigator. Look at Sean dancing to that song. Wait, you just have said it. He's like a, he's a guy that goes into a criminal crime lab with the insurance companies and he investigates the spirits of dogs. Yeah, he's an insurance advocate. That's right. He's an advocate for the insurance agencies. Yeah, and his dad. He's a broker. Oh, Mike, I'm just kidding around. Oh, he's not going to do a bad check. You got us again. You got us again. You crazy rascal. I'm just playing with you guys.
Okay, Sean. We're going to do something now. Mike. That's Perry Mason, man. Mike. Mike. Sean checked your calendar. What year is this? I don't know. Where am I? Maybe I'm wrong. I thought it was no age. Let's go back right now to an era. I don't want to hear this, Mike. I don't either. I'm good. The men wore hats and the women stand in their place. Hey.
There are women right now in senior centers going, that's an old show. That's an old program. Mike, welcome to Perry Mason. No. No, I don't want to. He's a preeminent criminal defense lawyer in Los Angeles. Black and white. With his assistant, Della Street. Ah, Della. Della. And his private investigator, Mr. Paul Drake. And week after week, they regale you with exploits of intrigue. Thanks for regale.
No. Thank you very much. I do not accept. So this particular episode, Mike, is a story. It's a story about what? I'm sorry. Really? Yes. May you finish. You may. Yeah, I would love to hear. Yes. You may. Story of a husband and wife who are trying to bilk the wife's father out of his personal fortune. Sounds good. And as it ends up, there is a murder committed. Uh-huh. No. Okay. So now we join the couple as they're relaxing in the parlor. This is on the radio.
We're live right now. As the telephone rings. Yeah. It's the bank calling about someone trying to cash a check on the father's personal fortune account. Whoa. And about halfway through, the father walks in and takes over the conversation. Wake up, Eddie. But let's hear, let's find out what's going on. I'd like to, uh, wait. Well, let's hear the clip. There we go. Do we have to? Hello? Well, who's calling, Mr. Scott? Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Oh, well, just a moment. Do you have Walker at the bank? Oh. If he wants you to play cards Wednesday night, you can.
Yes, Herb? Listen, Lord. A woman just walked in the bank with a check signed by your Uncle Daniel. Who talks like that? M. Lewis. It's for $20,000. Sean watches this. Hello? This is Daniel Reed, who's talking at your end. What? I see. You know something, Mr. Walker? I don't like the way you run your bank. I'm afraid I'll have to move my account elsewhere. You are. Now you go ahead and cash that check. You're a stupid jerk. Wow, Mike, wow. That was for real? I'm just stoked it was in English.
That is a good point. Hold on, though. Hold on. This is Daniel Reed. Who's talking on your end? May I please? May I please? That's how they used to use phones. May I please? This is Daniel Reed. Hello, yes? May I please? May I please? Now, Mike, I take you to the courtroom. No. Oh, Terry Mason is getting to the bottom of this murder during his cross-examination. I now ask you, Mr. Scott, what were you doing between 8 and 9 o'clock on the night of the murder? All right.
I resent this. I'm not on trial here. Tuning out of Sean TV. Shut up! I was at home with my wife. No, you weren't. Your wife was at the Kelsey Club with a man named Dave Kemp discussing business. The manager there identified her from a photograph. Thank you for the clip. Now, I ask you once again, Mr. Scott, what were you doing between 8 to 9 o'clock on the night of the murder? He's about to get him off. I don't remember. Then I'll tell you. Thank you. You drove over to the Quincy Hotel where you killed a man by the name of Monty Sue. No, I didn't. That's ridiculous. I didn't even know the man. But you knew your uncle would be accused of the murder. Shut up.
And you decided if you couldn't gain control of Daniel Reed's money by having him committed, you then wanted to see him go to the gas chamber. Oh! In your face! Wow, that was good. I like that. That is Perry Mason, and you can see it on the Hallmark Channel, Mike, every weekend. Yeah. I'm in, Shawnee. Nice. There you go, folks. It's Perry Mason, Mike. I'll see you there. It's this week's episode of Sean TV.
Perry Mason. That was as bad as it gets. It sucked. No, that sucked. I would say it was worse than as bad as it gets. It was worse than as bad as it gets. We'll take a short time out to reevaluate our lives. We'll be back. Check it out. The Mikey Show. You guys are just such a great force for San Diego and everyone listening. San Diego is really, really lucky to have you guys on the radio every morning.

She is used to seeing carpet in your home, but it's gone.
Carpet, you think to yourself, is for the cautious, the compliant. You have been feasting on Rubio's Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos for the past week, and the bold beach mech spirit runs strong through your veins. Thus, you have torn out the staid carpet and replaced it with sand. If only your mother-in-law could taste a Rubio's Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco, coated in a delectable combination of six spices, seared on an open flame, and complemented with a squeeze of fresh lime, Perhaps then she would appreciate the sand that surely now fills her high heels. Just as she'd appreciate the snug red Speedo you're wearing.

I now ask you, Mr. Scott, what were you doing between 8 and 9 o'clock on the night of the murder? There you do that. This is stupid. Hit it. Hit it. That's not what I want you to hit. Something dumb and old. Where is he? San Diego? Hit it. Oh, man. Hit it. Hit it. Hit it. Please. Oh, gee, thanks. Hit it.
He's still hitting it. Hit it. I want to see what 8- and 9-year-olds think about Miley. Cut 22. But there are still plenty of Miley followers and their parents who think it's all much ado about nothing. 9-year-old Nicole Gatto says she's still one of Miley's biggest fans. People are making a big thing about it when many, like, lots of stars do that. I mean, it's not anything different. The picture is actually very artistic. It's just a picture.
What's the big deal about it? Wow. Wow. I'm sure that was her own thought. I'm sure she didn't hear that on TV or her parents saying that or anything. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Look at that. The Eddie line is ringing. Hello? Hey, how are you guys doing this morning? Oh, no. It's Dr. Wayne. Hi, Dr. Wayne. Hey, guys. It's Dr. Wayne calling. Yeah. What's up, dude? No, I was just listening to the story you were talking about there with Miley Cyrus. Yeah.
And, you know, all this stuff. And, you know, I was thinking about it, and I was thinking, you know, you guys are a comedy show there, right? Well, we try to be. Yeah, it's very good. And, you know, a lot of people in high school thought I was pretty much the funniest guy at school. And pretty much everybody knew that I was either going to go on to a career in chiropractic or comedy. That's very different fields, but okay. Why did they know that you were going to go into chiropractic? Well, because they knew I was either destined to go into chiropractic or be a crack-up. Were you like going around school massaging the dude's back?
They said I'm a crack-up. Oh, well. Hello? Yeah. Oh, was that a joke? Oh, that was a joke. That was a joke. Oh, gosh. Oh, man. I totally missed it. I'm lost. A lot different after I've had a couple of beers. anyway the reason i was calling you guys what's that it's 10 a.m no no no i said it's funnier anyway oh man what's up dr wayne i feel like we're not hitting on the right cylinder no we're really not well the reason i was calling you is because uh a i'm funny and uh i got a couple of ideas for the show usually funny people don't have to tell you they're funny but
Okay, what's your... Thank you, Eddie. I appreciate that. I'm not saying... I'm not... Well, all right. Anyway, the reason that I was calling is I had a couple of funny ideas I thought you guys might want to use on the show. Well, this is... Okay, well, what are they? Well, the idea is, you know, now that this Miley Cyrus thing is such a big deal right now, I thought, hey, wouldn't it be great if we took a couple of the same kind of pictures of Zeph? We posted them up there and we said... And we call him Zephy Cyrus. What do you guys think of that one?
I'm really uncomfortable. All right, all right. Miley Zethrys. What? You know, we'll put him, we'll have him be topless in a pair of jeans, just like her. Drape a sheet over him, and we'll be... I don't find really any humor in it. Don't worry, I got a camera. We'll do, I'll be, and I'll be Dr. Leibovitz. What? No. I'll be like Annie Leibovitz, but I'll be Dr. Leibovitz. No. And I'll come over there and I'll take the pictures and then we'll put them on the internet. Well, hey, listen, Dr. Wayne, I'm the producer of the show, and I'm going to say no thank you to that idea. All right.
Thanks. Why don't we just take the pictures then? For what? Yeah, why? If we're not doing it on the website. Well, what I was thinking is maybe we just keep the pictures in case something else happens. That doesn't make any sense. And it's money. That doesn't make any sense. It's not funny. All right, go ahead and just put me on hold then. For what? Why? I just wanted to see if you guys are part of any of those networking websites or anything, and I'll get on one of those websites like MySpace or Facebook or whatever. Whatever you guys want me to be on, I'll be on it with you.
Can you guys add me as your friend? Well, we have a good one. I've already rejected. Let's see. Let me look at my top five. I've got Seth and Rob right there in my top five. You guys added them? You guys know you can block people, right? It looks like Zeth has not been updating his MySpace here for, it looks like, six days. Okay, dude, that's weird. No, I'm just saying, you know, I think that people, you know, he's got fans. I'm a Zeth head. There's no such thing.
You are the only one that's that, and that is really weird. I'm just a fan, that's all. I don't know why everybody has to make such a hang on a second. My wife's calling me, honey, I'll make love to you in a minute. Okay, I've never heard a woman in the background. I'll tell you what, guys, she is just carnivorous. She is just carnivorous. Yeah, there's a sexy word. I'm turned on. Hang on a second. She wants to talk to you. Is that all right? Oh, yeah, please. Well, we'd finally like to hear from you. Oh, she just fell asleep. Wait, she just talked to you two seconds ago. Sorry about that, guys. Oh, she's awake now.
You want to talk to her? Yeah. She just walked out to go to Costco. Sorry about that, guys. All right, I'll talk to you later. Okay, well, we'll see you later. Thanks, doctor. He's the strangest doctor I think we've ever talked to in the history of talking to people. Senator Barack Obama, ladies and gentlemen, is really getting upset when he's talking about his former reverend. Reverend Wright. I mean, he's really coming out now and going for it. And by the way, I got some interesting clips coming up here in just a second. We were talking about this Paula Abdul thing we're going to play in just a second.
Apparently she was on Ryan Seacrest this morning defending herself about what happened last night. So we have audio already of what happened on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show this morning and her defending herself. We're going to do that in just a second. So Barack Obama is saying that his relationship with the Reverend Wright has been damaged. And he also criticizes him for accusing him of political posturing. Cut 45. They certainly don't portray accurately my values and beliefs.
And if Reverend Wright thinks that that's political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn't know me very well. And based on his remarks yesterday, well, I may not know him as well as I thought either. Yeah, a little bit of a falling out there, huh? I think there's an affectation. I think I'm getting an affectation in Barack's voice. Do you smell what Barack is cooking? Cut 46.
There's been great damage. I do not see that relationship being the same after this. Hmm. Wow. Wow. Here he is denouncing Reverend Wright's comments. Cut 20. They offend me. They rightly offend all Americans. and they should be denounced. And that's what I'm doing very clearly and unequivocally here today. How come he didn't do that when it happened? Right.
Well, I think, I'm not sure, but I think what he's referring to is because this weekend, Reverend Wright kind of went on a media blitz and did this PBS interview and then was speaking at the NAACP dinner and talking about all this Obama stuff. Bringing it up again? Yeah, and I think that's where Obama finally was like, dude, obviously I don't know this guy. And it's just not helping. Yeah. So you've got to hear what happened last night on American Idol. Paula Abdul is watching the show just like the rest of us
and apparently what they had them do was they had the contestants sing two songs. But the guy that she watches has only sung one song. That's it. He performs one song. And Paula says this, cut 47. Paula. Oh, gosh. We've never had to write these things down fast enough. Jason, the first song, I loved hearing your lower register, which we never really hear. The second song, I felt like your usual charm was missing for me. It kind of left me a little empty.
And the two songs made me feel like you're not fighting hard enough to get into the top four. Uncomfortable laughter. Just on the first one. I thought you, oh my God, I thought you sang twice. Just once, but Paula, Paula, you're seeing the future, baby. You're seeing the future. She's coming back. This is hard. Okay, Paula, Paula. No, it's David. Paula, who is your favorite? Who is your favorite? Who is your favorite?
Paula, who is your favorite? You know what? I'm looking at your notes, David. You're fantastic. And it was a song that wasn't known. Wow. Oh, boy. Oh, goodness. So, like, it's hard for her to take notes. That's what I find really strange. Yeah, I know it. Well, what's really... It's hard. What's so telling about that is how Simon Cowell's even trying to help. Yeah. But anyway, a couple things. Uh, last night, or yesterday, she's leaving lunch right before taping Idol. Five o'clock Pacific is when they tape it, I think.
Well, it was live, right? Or was it taped? Well, even if it is live, it's five here. Yeah, it's for the, yeah, but live on the East Coast. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, so it would be like, they start like five o'clock here. So she'd be finishing lunch, I don't know. One, two. One, two o'clock? Yeah. So she's coming out of having lunch somewhere. And who is there to capture this? I guess the paparazzi got wind that she was there. So they were waiting for her afterwards. And, you know, they say that she had enjoyed a couple of martinis at lunch. Oh, so she doesn't drink.
Well, I think she says she's never been drunk, Eddie. So what are we going to hear? What is this? I guess it's outside street audio. So you'll hear like street noise and stuff of her just being Paula. Let's see. Hey, Paula. How you doing? Can I ask you a few questions? I don't know. So you thinking you're going to be on Dancing with the Stars ever? I don't know. I like the show. What about adopting a baby? You thinking about doing that? I have a lot of babies I've adopted. We're going to go. We have a rehearsal.
We have a rehearsal tomorrow. Sorry. Their names are Randy, Ryan, and Simon. What are their names? Randy, Simon, and Ryan. Who's the biggest baby? Let me think. Let me think. Let me think. It's a three-way tie. It's a three-way tie.
Oh, wow. So then she's got to go straight from there to do the show. Yeah. So it sounds like she may have been a little saucy right there, and then she's got to go do the show. So Ryan Seacrest has her on the air this morning. Because this is like a huge news story now. It was like on the front of CNN. Dude, yeah, it was on front of CNN.com. The headline was Paula Abdul makes strange remarks or something like that. Sounds loopy or sounds confused. Right. Now, I was saying this morning, I feel bad for Paula Abdul, And I think that at some point, somebody should go, okay, we know we have a hit show here,
but maybe we should step in for her on her behalf. Now, nobody, clearly nobody is. So she's on Ryan Seacrest's show this morning at our sister station in Los Angeles, K-I-I-S, Kiss FM. Go ahead, Sean. Right as the kids were walking out on stage, Nizel, I think it was Nizel, came and said, Okay, we're going to change it up again, and we're going to have guys critique them on round one. I was already busy trying to think of, well, when I came into the show, I had to get a whole bunch of friends. And you know what it's like.
I have my entire family and friends wanting to come to the last night show. I know. And so I convinced them, I can't get you in. Can you go to the live rehearsal? So I was getting them all in, and they got there late. And the only thing I saw on the monitor as my family was getting in was Jason Castro. Right. And he was singing September morning. And so I'm writing, and I was writing notes on September morning because I'm thinking, well, what's going on? And now the kids are coming out. I'm going, oh, my God, what do we do?
And so when he came to me, I just started looking at what I'm writing down. I go, we have never had to do this before. Right. And I was reading the critique of what I was writing for Jason Castro. And on the same page that I wrote was also David. And I got lost on my notes. And that's as simple as it was. And I did catch the last minute of Jason Castro. So what you're saying is that you were talking about two different people, but accidentally you said second song. Yes.
Okay. No. That made no sense at all. Of course. Oh, and Ryan's trying to save her. I know what this is. I'll tell you what it sounds like to me. What do we got? What do we got? Come on. Well, Ryan. Yes. Personal relationship with her. Knows her. Knows her home number. Knows her cell phone number. Doesn't have to go through publicists. Just can call her. Got her on this morning. Obviously, her people now are having to scramble over this. This audio we just listened to is going to be news now. See, I have a different theory.
What? that idol went into damage control they say okay we're going to put you on seacrest show everybody's going to pick up this audio here is your story this is a story you're supposed to tell and the story she's supposed to tell is basically what seacrest said on the end but she couldn't even get that right right and then seacrest basically had to reiterate so what you're saying even though she didn't say that at all blah blah blah i don't think idol trusts her They've put her out there before, man. Right, but they learned their lesson.
I mean, after last night, I would, maybe you're right. Oh, so last night is too much? I mean, what about the time she was on that show? It's true. Like how many times? It's true. You know, that YouTube video went around. I don't know. I'm thinking Idle goes, no way. Eddie has a theory. Eddie in the back. Eddie in the back. It's going to be a crazy theory. Go ahead. I like it already. As we all know, American Idol's ratings this year are down. Are they? Yes. I did not know. By a lot. They're still very successful, but they're down. Yes. Their season numbers are down by a lot. Oh, no.
What's better and what's going to get more people talking than a Paula Abdul controversy? Eddie, don't. Just don't. I smell what Eddie's cooking. I think that that is entirely possible. I smell what Eddie's cooking. I mean, who's not going to watch? Well, wait a minute. You know, here's the deal. In order for that to be true, you have to assume that somebody's operating on a morality that's very different than ours. It's Fox. Because that's quite a risk. It's Fox. Because this is a family show. Hello. This is quite a risk. Look, we haven't seen Apollo like that before.
It's not like it's not out there. Yeah, it's not like it's not out there. How many times? My theory, we got three theories. Yes, we do. Eddie's theory is Fox, they're crazy. They don't care. They're like, hey, we're going to seize the moment. We had something crazy happen last night. We'll put her on Seacrest. We know that she's a train wreck, but it'll cause more stir, and it's even better. Get more people to watch tonight. That's crazy. Sky's theory is American Idol says to themselves, we'll fix it. We'll get her on Seacrest's show,
and we'll give her the opportunity to give the story that we put out there. She messes it up. And my theory is that American Idol would prefer that she just shut up. But Seacrest called her during the break. Say, hey, Paula, we're talking about this thing last night. You want to come on and, like, figure it out? Sure, let's talk. Oh, wait. She said, like, four different things. Yeah.
Of why she, like, what? Yeah, that's brutal, man. Yeah. oh, I want to know what the real answer is. I'd really like to know what the real answer is. I like the idea of somebody gave her notes to say, and she just screwed it up and read everything instead of like part one for the first song, part two for the second song. Because they were not going to go to them for after the first song. They were only going to go to her after the second song. Right. I messed her up. Fascinating.
I wonder if this is all going to eventually come to a head. You think it would have to? It has to. How many years have we been saying that? Dude, we have been saying that. Oh, man. For a really, really, really long time. Yeah, I think since the second season of Idol, we've been saying this. Mm-hmm. It's been a long time. But it is, I mean, would we say it's progressively getting worse? Because it seems like it is. Yeah, it is progressively getting worse. She's never done that, which she did last night. Like, that's like a blackout within the show, practically, is what it looks like.
Yeah, she'll be loopy, and she'll mess up and be crazy like that in her free time. But, yeah, to actually, like, mess up the show, that's really bad. That's what I'm saying. I think that what could potentially happen is that one of those kids gets mad that they got kicked off. Right. Who knows? So, anyway, that was a big, big story, man. Oh, yeah. Let's see. I think we hit it all.
Are we going to have Carly Smithson on? I'm working on it. Speaking of American Idol. Yeah. She's the Irish chick that works at the field downtown San Diego. She got kicked off of American Idol. Unjustly. Weak. So, there it is. Is Jason Castro still on it? Unjustly. he upset me last night I apologize for him last night I know I agree everybody was bad but he was especially bad I apologize for him I do not accept
hopefully he will not do it next week if he stays through oh man you guys know who Gary Dordane is I hope I'm pronouncing that right Gary Dordane I think he's the black dude from CSI Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Is he? Criminologist Warwick from CSI, the original crime scene investigation. The original one. Yeah. Yeah, I know who he is. With Grisham. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's got that crazy hair. Yep. Yeah, yeah. What did he do? Well, he was arrested on Monday for suspected possession of narcotics.
Now, we all know that the Coachella Festival was out in Indio this past weekend, and I guess... It's really beautiful weather out there. It sounded great. Nice and cool. cool breeze moving through uh no so uh police in palm springs saw a car parked on the street but parked facing the wrong way on the street and so they went over to investigate and found uh him sleeping in his car parked the wrong way on the street they then decided well this isn't right and you know woke him up and searched him and found cocaine heroin ecstasy and a variety of prescription drugs and paraphernalia oh my god wow so he was arrested and then released on five thousand dollars
bail and he will be arraigned uh may the 28th that's a lot of stuff i love drugs that's serious stuff bypass on grass p1 d squared hey mikey show hello i just want to know uh just going back a little bit to the paula topic again um i don't know if you guys were hearing any news in the morning i heard i was listening to the fox news and there's a couple news in the morning and they were talking about how uh how everybody knows that paula suffers about with chronic fatigue syndrome and one of the side effects of chronic fatigue syndrome is confusion and that's why she
was doing what she was doing yesterday so i don't know wait a minute fox news fox news in the morning was saying that because they were supposed to i guess have carly smithson like in her tattoo shop today but they couldn't get a hold of her so they were just doing like idle like, you know, recap and stuff and they passed that whole Paula thing and then they were talking about how it was confusion because it's a side effect of chronic... Fox is on the line and wants you to give that statement right now to Paula. I don't know. That's what they were saying. Of course that's what they were saying.
They're Fox. You know what? You know who didn't say that? Paula. Yeah. That's just so weak man yeah it's it's a it's they shouldn't they should yeah it's worse for her to do that that's terrible to do that you know to her p1 mark hey want to switch the subject up a little bit mikey want to call you hey hang on a second i just looked at that i don't want rob i don't want to put that on that's bad that's very personal information that i want to put on the I didn't read it
I just looked up at it and I'm like dude I'm going to give my pin number yeah right Mikey show yeah hey this is you want DG what's up BG I got a question for Boston Rob I'm going to Boston for the first time tomorrow and I wanted to see what you know where's a good place to eat Rob should like have a page on our website of that because people will call maybe like every other month with this question. They love to ask Rob about where to eat in Boston.
Yeah. Nathaniel Hall. Yeah, you go to Anthony. Nathaniel Hall. Yeah, go to Nathaniel Hall. It's wicked wassum. Get the chowder. Rob, where should he eat in Boston? Caskin and flagging. Yeah, go to the Caskin and flagging and get the fish and chips. Where should he what? Where should he eat? Oh, I don't know. It depends what you like. I don't like seafood. Lobster, man. Yeah, I don't eat lobster. I don't eat no seafood.
What's that place we eat at? Oyster house? Yeah, that's a good place, man. Yeah, dude, I don't eat seafood. If you want, shoot me an email, and I'll tell you a bunch of different bars to go to. But, yeah, I don't. I got the bars. I don't really do seafood, so go to Legal Seafood. I guess that's great, too, but I don't know. He doesn't really eat the seafood, dude. No, I tried clam chowder for the first time back in November. Did it disgust you? You liked it. I liked it, but... Sky, would you ever take a bite of clam chow? No. That was instant now. You didn't even get the word out. You won't even drink Calpico, and that's delicious.
Instant now. Wow. Calpico. Yeah, Calpico looks like the stuff that comes out of your mop. You are. It's true. It's ridiculous. It does. It does. You know, when you squeeze the mop back into the yellow bucket, the yellow plastic bucket, Hey, I think we're good now. It kind of looks like what was up there in the mop. Thank you, but not. Thank you. Yeah. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, this is Mike, this is Matt. What's up, Matt? Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. Hey, I'm wondering if that Navy, the old lady, whatever her name is.
Get him, Eddie. Rachel. Rachel, whatever. The lady that's going to do her, watch her daughter's modeling thing. Right. Is she going to do it as well as Britney Spears' mom did it? Because Britney Spears' mom, she was the manager of her. And look what happened to her. So I'm just wondering, you know. I don't know. It doesn't look too good. Well, if Rachel's still listening, hopefully she understood that. You're welcome. Thank you very much. Oh, Matt. Oh, Matt.
Oh, Matt. Matt. Oh, Matt. Ladies and gentlemen, the lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. Today on the Nooner, she's got the all-request lunch. Give her a call, make your request, be real good. Real nice, real sweet, real fresh. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
