The show bounced between absurd staff stories and serious local news: Sean defended stripping down in the restroom and later tried to pass remastered Star Trek off as current television, while Ashley's tone-deaf karaoke and wrong-way Little Italy turn became running jokes. Sky and callers argued that marriage makes a spouse's plate fair game, while Eddie delivered sarcastic Tough Love responses about friendship, anti-Mexican paranoia, and wedding karaoke. The hosts condemned Mike Aguirre's behavior during a chaotic Family Justice Center debate, discussed a 12-year-old charged over a dry-ice bomb, and attacked SDSU protesters who objected to a DEA drug sting. In the most serious interview, Tracy Lynn Moe said Laura Wyand gave her daughter Kelsey Lynn Phelps methadone before the 17-year-old died, and she called for prison time and public education against sharing prescriptions.
What happened, in order
Sean's restroom ritual
A caller got Sean to admit that he removes most of his clothes to use a work restroom stall, prompting the crew to propose a special "potty gown."
City Hall meltdown
A debate over outsourcing the Family Justice Center to the YWCA erupted after a board member said City Attorney Mike Aguirre threatened her, and Aguirre was called out of order and had his microphone cut.
Star fires at Barbara
After Barbara Walters discussed Star Jones's secrecy about gastric-bypass surgery, Jones accused Walters of humiliating people and attacking her merely to sell a book.
Tone-deaf karaoke
Callers struggled to identify Ashley's wildly off-key versions of Whitesnake and En Vogue before one contestant finally recognized Warren G.
Tough Love with Eddie
Eddie answered listener letters with savage comic advice about a possessive friendship, a racist theory of a Mexican electoral takeover, and a bride's plan for wedding karaoke.
The plate-picking war
Sky revealed that after 11 years her husband finally objected to her digging through his nachos, setting off a long argument over permission, first bites, and whether married couples' food is community property.
Dry-ice bomb at school
A 12-year-old Mira Mesa middle-school student confessed to detonating a dry-ice bottle bomb in a trash can and faced felony destructive-device charges.
The child hacker
Caller Athena described a gifted 12-year-old neighbor who allegedly hijacked the block's internet connections, hacked the government, stole thousands of dollars, and was then barred from computers.
Sean TV's Star Trek loophole
Sean ignored the crew's demand for current television by calling remastered Star Trek episodes new, then explained the episode about an entire vanished lifetime that made him cry as an adult.
Kelsey Phelps case
Tracy Lynn Moe said Laura Wyand gave her 17-year-old daughter Kelsey Lynn Phelps methadone before Kelsey died, then withdrew a planned guilty plea when prison appeared likely.
Ashley's wrong-way turn
Ashley recounted mistaking a wrong-way lane near Little Italy for a right-turn lane, confronting oncoming traffic, and reversing roughly 25 feet back to safety.
SDSU drug-sting protest
The hosts mocked students protesting the SDSU drug sting, arguing that DEA arrests are themselves drug prevention while Ashley maintained that similar drug activity probably existed at many colleges.

It is 6.05. Amy Winehouse is free on bail today after her arrest yesterday for drugs. The Padres continue their free fall. They lost for the 16th time in 20 games, this time to Atlanta 5-2. Eddie, is it possible that if that kind of thing continues, they fire a manager? Oh, absolutely. They'll do that? Absolutely. Really? Yeah. Bud Black is definitely on the hot seat. Really? Yeah. Well, they have the worst record in baseball. They're not that bad. Okay, if you fire a manager like that mid-season, where do you go and find a guy? Do you do it in an organization, or do you go find a guy that's sitting at home? Well, they're not going to fire him during the season, I don't think. That usually doesn't happen. They'll wait until the end of the year, and then there's going to be a lot of people that will be looking for jobs and other big-time managers that will be looking for jobs.
So there'll be somebody out there. But hopefully, this isn't Bud Black's fault. It's exactly what it has been for the past few years. It's a problem they knew going in, but Kevin Towers and Sandy Alderson told us, we'll be fine. I know our pitching is awesome, but we'll have just enough offense to get us a victory. And that doesn't happen unless they throw a complete game shutout every time they go out on the hill. we're going to lose because we don't have any offense. So it's such a shame to waste these critical years that Jake Peavy, Chris Young, Greg Maddox has been trying to win 350 for a month now. I mean, it's sad. That's nuts, man. It's terrible. That sucks. Well, we love the Padres. We want to see them win, man. Desperately. 570-1053 is our phone number. And you can call us at the beginning and end of every show. So give us a call right now, and we'd love to talk to you. 570-1053. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. Eddie's our producer and sports guy. Sky has been having good hair all week long, and she is our news girl. Thank you. Sean is our sound effects guy. I've had good hair all week as well. Yeah, you really have. You really have. Can you give us an example of what you do? No way, Jose. That's right.
Ashley, look at how gorgeous Ashley looks. She got her hair down. Look at that. It's beautiful. And what do you have him do? Is it a guy or a girl? Oh, it's a guy. Is he gay? No. Oh, my wife says usually the gay guys do the better job for her, but... Yeah, I wouldn't probably disagree with that, but he is not, but he's fantastic. Yeah. He's the best. I've been going to him for three years. He's actually a P1. Is he? His name's Jody, yeah, and he works at Bocage in Hillcrest. Bocage. Ironic, it's in Hillcrest. Yeah, it's in Hillcrest. His name is Jody, and he is straight. And he's straight. He has a son and a girlfriend. Hillcrest. There you go. It's a trip. And what did he do yesterday? Tell me, what do you tell him, and does he just do what you say? Well, I go in and we like have the talk and he's like, what are you feeling today? And normally I'll just be like, give me the usual, you know, just, you know, do my roots and just give me a little trim. So sometimes I'll, sometimes I'll want, you know, like when I went with the lower tones during winter and whatever, but I just tell him. Normally I just stay blonde. Yeah. That looks really nice. And then I'm keeping the bangs because I like the bangs. That's working out fun for me right now. I like her bangs. Thanks. Looks real good. Thank you. That's early. That's weird.
Hello? Hi, guys. It's Barbara. Oh, Barbara. What are you doing? Well, I was calling in because I heard Ashley talking about getting her hair did, and I just got my hair did. Oh, snap. And I was going to just recommend my lady. Uh-huh. Her name is Taniqua, and she's down there in National City. And if you wanted to get your hair did, I would definitely mention me. Barbara? Yeah, Eddie. How long are you going to try to continue this, that you're black? Oh, Eddie, step up. You're not black. You're not black. No, I really am. And I just want to let Ashley know if she wants to go down there and get her weave. She doesn't have a weave. Neither do you. Barbara, are you just trying to swing the African-American vote for Hillary? Is this basically the whole thing she's doing? Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for our nation. She's not going to win the nomination. And so what I think she's lacking right now is the black vote. She's not going to win the nomination. Eddie, it's not over. I know it's not, but it's, you know, I think we know. Well, anyway, I just wanted to say about my lady, Taniqua, that she really knows how to work a press and comb and that you should go down and mention me. And I'm doing some cornrows right now. You're slurring again. Am I slurring? Yes.
Am I slurring now? Yes. Yes. A little bit. All right. Well, and I also have a great Vietnamese lady that will get your nails did if you need to do that. Well, no. She's really good, too. And just so you know, my nails are about, you know, four and a half inches long. Wow. And they have pictures on them. Pictures? I just have them paint different things like, you know. gold jewelry studs and I'll have them put their signature on it sometimes. I'm sorry guys, it must be the King Cobra talking. Anyway, I gotta go and drink a 40. Have a good one. I am Barbara and I am a part-time Hillary supporter and a full-time black woman. Alright, we'll see you later. This is so sad, you know, because Hillary's not doing very good. And so, you know, she's going to be trying to get that vote. Get the word out there on that one. Ashley is our assistant producer. And yeah, it looks really nice. It's a brand new haircut that she's got done. Boston Rob does not have a new haircut. He is 25 years of age. That's right. Eddie, I would now like to go to you.
Let's not go to Eddie. Oh, Sean, wait till you get here. Well, here's what happened. Rob cut his hair really short. And I mean, like clipper short. And I got to say, I thought it looked so handsome. It looked really nice. You know, it was clean cut. It was really. Well, what he's been doing is just letting it grow, letting it grow. And so it's in that sort of, you know, puffy chia pet. Very much so. Place right now, you know. And so my question to Eddie is how long do you believe that this will go on? Well, you know, the look I like to call disheveled rat. Yes. Yes. The disheveled rat. The disheveled rat. Very distinct. Yes. I think as long as we continue to harass him and make fun of him, I can't imagine it going on for more than a month. Now let's go to Boston Rob for his input on this. Now, Rob, do you have any plans of cutting the hair? Or, you know, will you be shamed out of it? What will you do with your hairstyle? And where is it going? What's your future look like in this regard? Well, here's the deal. I'm trying to get it long again. Yeah. Like Bo Bice long? Yeah, yeah. That is actually the exact look I'm going for. Oddly enough. That is why I'm growing the beard as well. I see. It's just the beard doesn't come in. And it's also economical.
It's my kind of way of going green. Well, you do realize, though, that we can loan you the clippers. You can cut that thing. It won't cost you a dime. I'll do it myself. Nah, nah. You say nah. Nah. You say nah. Nah. You say NAW, so all right. Nah. Rob, how long do you have a plan with how long you're going to let it grow or what? Well, I fight the urge back almost every day to shave it. Mm-hmm. Don't fight it. Don't fight it anymore. Get into it. It's not easy. I feel like I'm a little kid that just, you know, his parents haven't taken him to get a haircut. No, I know. That's exactly what I look like. But... It's worth the wait. For what? For what? What are we going for? What are we moving towards? I don't know. My fiance told me last night, why don't you look at some magazines and pick out what kind of haircut you want? Okay. Okay. And so what did you pick out? And I told her, well, I'm not gay, so I'm just going to let it grow. All right. And just, I'm not going to really do a haircut. I'm going to see what it looks like when it grows out.
And that will be my haircut. Like, are you going to style it? Like, comb it? I don't know. That's the great part. We don't know. Okay. We don't know. We need a game plan. You know what it is? I think what I'm hearing Rob say, it's a journey. It's a journey. I want it off this. It is Steve Perry. Yeah. He's going for the Steve Perry look. I might want to cut you a little. All right. Yeah. Oh, goodness. And next there is... Roosevelt, Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire. There he is over in the corner. And he's a good kid. He is 23 years old. Wow. Yeah, he just had a birthday. He's the youngest guy on the show. Did you learn anything more about the rabbit? Oh, yeah. Zeth. I didn't, actually. Wait, what? It wasn't there when I got home, so I was like, all right, well. And you don't ask? No. Idiot! That would be all-consuming for me. Oh, good grief. When they find a bunny on their counter. I tell you what, right? Just amazing. Yeah, I mean, you'd think that you would really investigate and want to know, like, what the deal is. It's all you'd want to know. So, there it is. You didn't ask your roommate? No.
Do you mean his mom? Yeah, I do. Okay, yeah, yeah. Exactly what I meant. She was... There you go. P1, The Goat. The Goat, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mikey. What's going on, man? Not too much. I just wanted to ask what the name of that song at the beginning of your show was. It sounds like Jimi Hendrix, but I can't... I tried to look up the song I felt. That is... It's called Baby, Please Don't Leave Me. And it's by a black dude named Buddy Guy. Who was that again? Oh, you're a jerk. Whoa. He didn't hear it. He was listening to the radio. That's why he didn't hear. That's all right. That's why he didn't hear. Calm down. Well, I hate you, too. P1, the goat. Do you have, well, the goat. Do you have your radio turned up? Yeah, it's turned down now. Yeah, there you go. Well, it should have been before because, you know, you and me in the little conversation earlier. You see, Rob's job is to make sure that he preps these guys before they get on the air. Rob is like the Mikey Show doorman. Yes, he is. He is our bouncer, and he takes that attitude now with the B1s. That really is it. I just grabbed him by the back of the shirt and the top of the pants and threw him out the trade. How did you reach that high? All right, Sean.
I had a soapbox. Rob should have checked his list, though, before he let him in the club. That's right. Well, he was like, I'm on the list. I saw his name and all that, and it turns out fake ID. Well, wait a minute. Did you actually take his ID, take the flashlight, and shine it underneath the ID? You got to do that. The artist's name is Buddy Guy. Buddy Guy. That's it. I appreciate it, Mikey. You got it, brother. Thanks. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, I was wondering if I could summon the Yuletide Tutor. The Yuletide Tutor, ladies and gentlemen, must mean there's a question about gas. As you know, gas prices are on the rise. Eddie said that he heard just the other day that by the end of summer, maybe up to $6 a gallon. But we don't know. Let's get confirmation now, and we will go to the Yuletide Tutor. Yuletide Tutor, are you there? And we don't hear the Yuletide Tutor. There must be a delay. I do not hear the Yuletide Tutor. Let's go to the Yuletide Tutor. Maybe we're calling her.
Or by the wrong name. Let's go to Mrs. Sassy Grassy Passy Gassy. And are you there? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Mrs. Sassy Gassy Passy Gassy. There's probably a delay in the fart pool. I see. Really stupid. I see. Her name is Scott. I thought Harold the ham would bring her out. Ah, maybe we can ask. Harold the ham, can you bring her out? She's going to a bad place. Let's now go to Queen Farter and the Knights of the Brown Table and see if she can give us an official. Too early. Ladies and gentlemen, an official word on this one. She's nothing? Well, she's reading her news right now. I mean, she's going through. I mean, that's. That's Sky right there. This is important. I mean, I guess. That's Sky reading the news right there. This is important. Ladies and gentlemen, Prime Minister Dookie Head will now tell us exactly what is happening in the world of gas. And for that, little miss farts allowed. Can you tell us, please, what is... Apparently not. It's not working, Eddie. It's not working. I guess we're not going to get the official word. But I wanted to know. I know it, but sometimes there's research being done.
Barbara Farters, are you there? Barbara Falters. Fartflers. That's not working either. Well, thank you very much. 570-1053 is the phone number beginning and end of every show. We do an open phone segment. You can call in about anything you want. Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow, Boston Rob and Ashley will be riding a tandem bike together. Luckily, they get along very well. Well, actually, it's the opposite date. They do kind of get into it like brother and sister quite a bit. And yesterday was certainly evidence of that. Ashley was making a statement. Boston Rob spoke up. Lashed out. And she felt interrupted. Attached me practically with his verbal words.
You know, listen, I think he was trying to just have a little fun. Verbally, Eddie, excuse me. I don't know. I think he was trying to have some fun. I don't know any of this. Over here. I don't know. I don't know any of this. But anyway, they get the opportunity to spend some time tomorrow. Oh, good. Quality time. Yeah, and sometimes it's just, you know, that reconnect is all you need. You just need to get back together and just sort of reconnect with each other and share each other's lives on a tandem bike wearing spandex and pink. I don't know about that. That's very true. Very true. So that's what they're doing. We're going to do tomorrow, and the video will be available on MikeyShow.com. Someone made that one. That's true. So make sure you check it out. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Saturday's a big day for the Mikey Show. Oh, wow. Come on, Mike. Qualcomm Stadium. Wow. That's right. Shawnee O'Boy will be here. Going to be out at Qualcomm Stadium Saturday morning. I don't have to do anything, though, right? I can just, like... Stay in the car. Oh, no. Oh, no, no. Oh, no, no, no. No, no. You will be out there meeting and greeting. Pressing the flesh, as they say. That's right. That's what they say. Yeah. That's right. I'll be wearing the hazmat suit. Why would you do that? You'll be kissing people and shaking babies. Isn't that the way the phrase goes? Is that the old phrase? What is Shawnee's travel schedule?
Shawnee arrives tomorrow. He arrives tomorrow. Oh, okay. At about 1 o'clock. Oh, 1 o'clock. And then he will be leaving the greater San Diego area Sunday morning. And so, as you can see, this is a fly-in. And it's truly like a rock band. I can't wait, Shawnee. You have so much fun, Shawnee. That's right. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. As you know, Shawnee is a germaphobe. Yeah. And does not like people. He looks upset. Okay, Sean. Not a fan of meeting lots of people. Well, I would like to be the first to invite Sean to a meal.
I have a nice restaurant. It's called Chipotle in La Mesa. Oh, how dare you, Eddie? How dare you, Eddie? Friday night, we're there. Shawnee, I'll tell you what's great that they do there is when they take all the ingredients and put it in a big tin bowl, mix it up with their hands, and then put it in a nice tortilla. It's usually nice and warm when you eat it. I don't like it when you guys do that. What's that? Take you to... Dinner? Yeah, hello. You don't like dinner? No, you joke about that stupid disease crap, and I don't like it. He doesn't like it. Oh, he's starting to rock back and forth. Yeah, he is. What's he mean? Leave him alone. He does that when he gets a little uncomfortable. It's not cool. All right, okay. It's okay, Sean. P1 Maximus Victorious is on the line. Hello, Maximus Victorious. How you doing? Good morning. How are you? Pretty great. What's going on? I had a question. What happened to the Tyrone and Tortilla show? This is actually the reason that I turned on to your show. I was moving about four years ago, and I heard that segment. That is a great question. Oh, no. Tyrone and Tortilla were a couple of characters that we did and still want to do, as a matter of fact. And the only reason that we do not do Tyrone and Tortilla on the air is because we were asked.
nicely, politely, by our superiors to stop for a while. Last time I checked in on it, the answer was still no. The reason that it happened was because of this Don Imus business where he said nappy-headed hoes on the air, and it really upset people, and it became a climate. In radio in the United States where you could not make jokes that could be perceived as racially insensitive. And Tyrone and Tortilla, as you know, were a black guy and a Mexican. That's right. That's right. Oh, you did not know that. Yes, that is right. I thought you said you were a big fan of it, though. I was just kidding. I see. I see. Gotcha. You got me. So far, come back. Hey, dude, I'm all with you. I am 100% with you on that one. We'll check again. Yeah, maybe we'll ask. Maybe we'll check in again with it and see if maybe enough time has gone by that we can give it a try. You've been boring. I love it. Wow. Thank you. You've been boring. Yeah, that was a perfect imitation of one of them. I don't know. I don't even know what she's saying. I don't know any of this.
We're getting some texts already. 35253 is our text number. Hey, Mikey, how about the next B-Rod Eddie Sports Challenge? If B-Rob loses, Eddie gets to shave B-Rob's head. Oh, I love it. Be in on that. Didn't we already do that? Man, Rob. Didn't we? He hates when the punishment is about his hair. It's my hair. You know, I work really hard. Really hard on my hair, and then you hit it. Sandy. I'm done. Mikey, how is Eddie's fantasy baseball team going? Signed P1 Howitzer. Eddie, what? What are you doing? Did Rob write that one? What are you doing? No, it's P1 Howitzer. I'm trying to help you. You're not trying to do nothing. Eddie, talk to me. I have not. Shut up with that. I'm like your mentor. Get out of here. Your mentor. M-E-N-T-E-R. Mentor. Listen, here's the deal. Mentor. I have never been able to recover from the initial week of not scoring any points. I'm still in last place. Although I've jumped out of last place for like a day, which was awesome. But I cannot recover.
Me and Rob cannot figure out how to score points in this league. Not at all. Like, it is the weirdest league, and I don't get it. I think I have a good team. I just don't know what's going on. I hate it. But I try every day. B-dubs at the top. He's coincident. Is that right? He's a cheater. Ashley, can you try to get my wife on the phone? Because the next text message is a question that has to do with my wife that she can answer maybe. It says, Mikey, has your wife started shaunitizing the guest room yet? I saw the little bottles of grape soda in the refrigerator. Yes. Which always, whenever I see that, I go, oh, Shawnee's coming. Where's the Calpico, man? I know. Did we save some for him? I don't know. Did we? I don't think so. Do we know what happened with that? I thought we threw it out with the rest of the spoiled milk. Well, that's okay. Because I've got my own. Oh, look. It's Pepto-Bismol. It's not. It's a pink bottle of... It's obviously children's Pepto-Bismol because it's got a little thing of Hello Kitty on the cover. You're a jerk. I'm just saying. It's a promotion that they're doing, dude. It's not the regular packaging. That's right. Don't show me. It's like the scene.
In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harrison Ford had that bag of sand and the Calpico was up on the little mantle. He was trying to get that little Calpico with the Hello Kitty on the front of it. My wife isn't answering. I want to ask her, has the shonitizing process begun? Let's take a couple more of your phone calls. P1 Ponce is on the line. What's up, dude? Morning, Mike. How you doing? Morning. Hey. So I'm a newer P1. I've only been listening to this about Christmas when all the other radio shows went off the air. Me and my friends were talking to me about telling me about the show. I have a question for Sean. Okay. And Boston and I told me I had the words very carefully. When you use the restroom, do you really get completely nude? Sean. Pretty much. I take off my top shirt. I take off my... Shorts. Rob laughing made me laugh. You're a jerk, man. What is that? What is that, Sean? I'm trying to ask this question. Come on. We're not laughing at you. We're laughing near you. At me. Yeah. What? So the only thing that I have left when I'm done taking everything off is sometimes I'll have the undershirt on depending on how long it is. I have long ones and I have shorter ones. So you wear two shirts?
Yes, he does. No, I don't, actually. I wear a shirt and I wear an undershirt. So that does not qualify as wearing two shirts? No, it doesn't. How do you figure? One is an undershirt. It's in the title. It's in the title. Okay, well, I'm more than ever, but thanks a lot. Hang on a second, you. I tell you what, listen off the air. Ash? She can't come on the phone right now. She sounded very tired. I think she was asleep. Okay. But she said the sanitizing has already been done. Okay. Done. Done. So. I felt so bad. I woke her up this morning. I, you know, my alarm clock has two clicks to it. Right. If you don't click it all the way back to off, which apparently I didn't. It will go into snooze mode and in buzzer mode at the same time. So 10 minutes later after I was gone, I didn't hear it. I felt terrible. So I got to make sure I do that. So Sean, so here's the story, folks. Just want to let people know because if you are new like this guy, I told him I'd tell him off the air. You see, this is the nice way to put it. At work, when Sean goes into the men's room, there are stalls, okay? And he chooses a stall.
And this is when he goes into the stall and he needs to sit down. I think that's a pretty easy way of putting this. And in order for him to feel comfortable, sometimes he needs to take off clothing. He's a large man. I mean, he's six foot six. That's true. Something like that. Aren't you six foot six, Shawnee? No, I'm not. How tall are you? Six foot four? Six three? Three. Six foot three. And, you know, how much do you go, Sean? How much do you go? Anywhere from 250 to maybe 270. Okay. And he's 6'3", so he's got a lot of girth. And he prefers to take off one of his shirts. He says, I don't have multiple shirts. I think Sky makes a good point. I mean, it's right there in the title. Under shirt. If you want to be technical about it, sure. But if you think in the truest sense of what a shirt is, There is a shirt that you wear that is exposed to the world. And then there is an undershirt which is not exposed to the world. I see. I'm trying to point out the differentiation between the two. You should have a potty gown. Wow. Sean. That is genius. What a great visual. Have you considered a potty gown?
I mean, that is a great invention, I would think. Sean, no. He just turned his camera. Why did he do that? He just turned his camera towards the wall. It means he's checked out. I'm trying to help him. I think the message there from Sean was, well, potty gown, huh? Well, check out. Take this. I don't know. I thought that was a real. I thought it was a legitimate question. Legitimate suggestion. I don't know. P1 Sweden. Are you there? Yeah, hey, Mikey. Good morning. Hey, good morning. I have a question for Ashley. Go ahead. I was wondering how I could send her a pajamogram for Mother's Day. Well, Ash, what do you think about that? Well, why? Just for funsies? Well, no. I don't get it. I'm not a mother. Well, you know, from the strange eating habits. Well, I get that. But I'm trying to imply that nobody knows that I'm pregnant, so why would he say that? Yet. Well, I know Eddie can help me out with the promotional deal for her. I was just wondering if your boyfriend, Mark, would be okay with it. Oh, my gosh, I can't even believe you brought my guy. I love him. He is so handsome. I love that guy. I love him so much. I'm having his baby. Oh, my gosh, I will one day. That really is a great, whoa. Whoa, what happened? I blocked out.
Really is a great question. I think that he probably wouldn't prefer that you don't send me pajamas, but thank you for the offer. Well, I think it's a sweet... I appreciate it. It's nice of you, too. That's rude. It certainly is a sweet offer. It is a sweet offer. Very nice. Pajamagram.com. For the offer. Thank you. Thank you, honey. Sky sent you. Yep. But I am a huge fan of the pajamas at Pajamagram. Here's our text number, 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. If you're wondering, The Mikey Show is generally the type of show that is enjoyed by men and women from the ages between 18 years old and I would say about 58, 59 years old. I would say that that's our audience. Anywhere between 18, 58, 59. You may be older than that. You may be in your 60s and listen to us. And if you are, then you're a very cool person in your 60s. I'm just saying that research shows most people enjoy the show if they're between 18 and about their late 50s. And anybody in between. About the drama at City Hall. This stuff is nuts.
The trauma at City Hall. Anybody like to take a guess who maybe this involves? Does anybody have a guess at maybe the audio that we're going to play when we come back? And let me tell you how crazy this got. They had to cut off this person's microphone. Wow. And they had to cut off his microphone because, Sky, was he getting upset? Yeah, he was talking out of turn and getting a little worked up. That's Micah Geary. Oh, what a shock. How many times? Yeah, it's Micah Geary, and we have audio of it. We'll play the audio coming up next. A lot of letters from toddlers. I get a lot of letters from toddlers, and toddlers send me stuff. I try to answer them the best I can. You know, a lot of people ain't got a good moral person no more, so I figured I could be their guidance along the way.
Dear Larry, my name's Eugene. I'm four years old. My friends call me Oogie. Why do farts stink? My mom calls them toots. Do you think farts are bad? Love Oogie. Dear Oogie, the funny name farting toddler. Farts stink so deaf folks can also have a big belly laugh. If you want to do a funny joke, go up to somebody somewhere and say, did you fart? I smell Vaseline. Just don't tell them I said to do that. If you tell anybody, I'll kill Santa Claus. I sound like you're a whining little kid. This is the Mikey Show. The ride's getting tougher on South 15. There's an accident here at the saddle lanes. South 15 just passed Rancho Bernardo Road, but it's catching up with the commute, and basically you're on the brakes off to 78 now through Escondido down into Rancho Bernardo. The coaster ride South 5 picking up some brake lights now out of Antonidas, and that stays with you all the way down to Salona Beach before it lets you loose. Looking pretty good, though, out of the East County. The westbound 52, just a minor delay at the top of the summit there. The west 8 is good to go all the way to Mission Valley.

and tell them Sky sent ya. Welcome back to The Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I pick my nose a lot. Eddie. I don't spend money on anything. Sky. I'm a white girl, what do you want from me? Sean. Slatter me, slatter me. I told you, I'm starting to read, I'm trying to be educated. And Ashley. I like to flow. She likes to flow. On a rock 105.3. Yeah. That's a good one, isn't it? So delicious. Yeah. Take you to the tacos. There it is. It is 642. A 12-year-old is in juvenile hall after confessing to setting off an explosive device at Amira Mesa Middle School yesterday.
Kobe Bryant proves he deserved the MVP with 34 points, leading the Lakers to a 120-110 win over Utah. So our text number is 35253. If you want to text us on your cell phone, and if you have never texted us before, just get in on the Mikey Show P1 Text Army by texting 35253. That's correct. That's all you have to do. The very first time, text that and just text the word Mikey to that. And then it'll text you back automatically, and it'll be like... Whoa, what up, dude? Do you want to do this or what? And you'll go, well, yeah, I do. That's what I sent it. And so you respond to that and they'll text you back and they'll be like, oh, dude, that's so cool, man. And then you're in. Here's a text that we just got. Hey, Mikey, what happened to Shauna? That's P1JSW Trucking. Shauna is still around. Well, I'll tell you what happened. She had a baby, so she was gone for a period of time. And took maternity leave while she was doing the stuff with the baby after the baby was born. And now she's back. And she's looking real good. Sean has always been a fan and thinks that she's very pretty. And she is. Mikey, this question is for Sean. Are you wearing two pairs of shorts when you have on boxer shorts and shorts? That's P1P1. I wear boxers. You do not wear boxers. He wears briefs. You wear briefs?
I go commando, Mike. I would never do that. That's disgusting. Yep. So he wears the briefs. Yeah, okay. Is what he does. He said no, though. He said no? Do you wear tighty-whities, Shawnee? No. Aren't those what briefs are? That's briefs. I thought you said boxer briefs. No way. You wouldn't wear boxer briefs, would you, Shawnee? No. It's too sexy. What's that? Thong? You wear a thong? No, he said he wears briefs, right, Shawnee? That's what I said, Mike. Uh-oh. Tidy-whities. Tidy-whities. What a great visual. Sean would not go colored briefs. He would not do that. No. I do not picture Sean wearing a pair of bright blue briefs. Sexy. Or even black briefs. No. You know, they must be under trousers. Under trousers? That hides the skids. That's the most disgusting thing that I've ever heard you say. Eddie, two things. First of all, do not cheer yourself silently. And the second thing is that knowing the way that Sean is, there is no way that that would ever come into play. Every once in a while, it's gotta happen. No, no, no, no, no. So before we went to break, I told you that our city council was flipping out.
It's a mess. Skye, have you investigated this a little further and know what's going on? Yeah, I mean, I kind of know what's going on. So this is what I figured out. So basically, there's this center in San Diego called the Family Justice Center. And on their website, they describe themselves as a one-stop shop. for domestic violence services. So if you're a victim of domestic violence and you need a lawyer or to file a police report or get someone to watch your kids, you go here and they have all the services you need to try and, you know, make things good for you. Which sounds cool. Oh, sounds like it's a great resource for people here in San Diego. Well, we know the city is hurting for money. And the YWCA has always been a part of the Family Justice Center. They have always helped out and co-sponsored and been involved in the center. Well, the mayor said, hey, a great way for us to save money is to basically outsource this center to the YWCA. And the YWCA will now be in charge of it. And this will save the city millions of dollars. So people will still get their services. It'll still be great. But the city is going to save money.
Well, it turns out for some reason, I don't know how this all connects, but San Diego City Attorney Micah Gary is the one who is, like, in charge or the overseer or somehow a bigwig in the Family Justice Center. He's involved somehow. Now, do you guys think that Mayor Sanders knows that? Oh, yeah. Well, of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course he knows. And that he's just, you know. I mean, if he is going to save the city millions of dollars, I mean. It sounds like it's kind of killing two birds with one stone. No doubt. But my question is, is that what it was born of? You guys think that's what it was born of? Of saving money. Saving money. He's looking through the thing and he's like, ah, look at this. This is a way we could save money. And so yesterday at the city hall meeting, they were discussing this issue. And a whole group of people from the YWCA showed up to say, hey, we're here. We love this idea. We want to support this idea. We think it's great. And it kind of unraveled from there. Cut 39. I'm on the board of the YWCA. I'm sorry. It's okay. I was just personally threatened by the city attorney. And it's very upsetting to me to have him speak to me the way he did today.
Wow. Oh, snap. Yeah. Wow. Huh? Yeah. What? Yeah, this woman who's on the board of the YWCA says that Micah Gary personally threatened her. And this is a domestic violence center. And he's in charge of it? The IME. Okay, so then Councilman Jim Mattafer tries to speak. And this happens. Cut 40. He obviously doesn't like the former city attorney and he doesn't like the idea of moving the Family Justice Center. Oh, Mr. Censor, did you want to call him? No, excuse me, Mr. Public. Did you want to be Mr. Brown Act Violator? Excuse me, this is not proper for him to... Okay, let me... I've cut all of you off. No. Mr. Aguirre, I am calling you out of order. Oh, my. I had to shut off their mics. Holy crap. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Our city council is so dysfunctional. Oh, my God. It's so utterly dysfunctional. Joke. Yeah. Utterly horrendous. It's horrendous. I think of what things could be accomplished if they weren't spending their time bickering and with the egos and the Mike Geary. Oh, man. Does Mike Geary have kids?
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I would feel so bad. Well, yeah, I mean. This is pathetic. And you know what? I hope that that's, I hope that that's not the deal. You know, I hope that, you know, because your dad, it doesn't have any, it's not you. You know what I mean? Yeah. And, but wow, Sky's right. Imagine what we could get done. But everybody's fighting over there, man. They do not get along at City Hall at all. Why are you the way that you are? Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. Hi. It's P1 Killer. Hi. Just letting you know that he doesn't just save that for the public. He's like that in private. My brother... Hang on. Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. I don't want to get into the... Oh, okay. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The private stuff. You know, I'm cool talking about what we what we actually hear. We got audio of this. You know what I mean? Right. I can comment on what we actually see and what. But if we do the other stuff, then I'm kind of it's hearsay. And I kind of feel like we're getting into a gossip situation. And I don't want to do that. Yeah. Thank you. I don't mind reporting on the facts, though. Hard stuff. The hard stuff. And that's what this is right now. Speaking of which.
Man, a little bit later on, I haven't even heard it yet. There are the 911 tapes that came out of Vanilla Ice. Huh? Speaking of this domestic stuff, allegedly he hit her, and this was, when did it happen, Sky? Gosh, it was like a month ago, maybe? About a month ago. Well, they finally released the 911 calls, and I don't know what the current situation is with him. I don't know what he's, if he's... getting some sort of help or if he's doing any of that kind of stuff or if he's back with her or if they're splitting up. I don't know what the deal is. But we'll try to figure it out and sort it out. And we'll play that back for you. That's coming up in a little bit. Eddie said it yesterday. Star Jones will make a comment about Barbara Walters' comments. For sure. And he was right. Oh, yeah. And she has. Oh, yes, she has. And so when we come back, we'll find out what the deal is. Oh, I can't wait. We're also going to do something called Tone Deaf Karaoke. This is where Ashley sings, and you try to tell us what it is she's singing. Awesome. We got a good prize, Eddie? Yeah, we actually do. All right, we'll tell you about it next. Don't go away. Mikey Show continues on The Rock.

These guys were like, I don't know, like 14 years old when they recorded this. It's the truth. Daniel John's the lead singer of this band right here. Silverchair. They're from Australia, Mike. They're all like...
About 14 years old when this album was recorded. For real. Really? And they were this talented. Yeah, they were kids. I didn't know that because I was a kid when I was listening to them. I was like 10. 14 years old. And I loved them. Yeah. Wow. Welcome back to the show. It is 7.02. Grand Theft Auto 4 is now the fastest selling video game of all time after making $500 million in the first week. Get ready for this, guys. Oh, no, Eddie. Remember that former Patriots employee who was the video assistant who apparently had all these tapes? Well, he finally sent the tapes to the league. Yeah. One of them included a game against the Chargers. No, it did not. Doesn't surprise me. They were cheating with the Chargers. Hey, Mr. Talk Trash over there, what do you got to say about that? What happened this past year? I'm sure they cheated somehow that way too. Of course, somehow. Wow, I tell you. Magically delicious.
Once you learn a system, you just keep employing it. Let me tell you something. If Bill Belichick has found out that he cheated again, he may be kicked out of the league. For real? It's that serious. The league's not going to... Roger Goodell is the new sheriff in town. He is not going to put up with it. Oh, man. Wow. That's not good. Because he lied to him. Uh-huh. That's how they are over there in New England. Oh, really? Yes, I said it. You know what I think is really weird? Ever since we exposed Rob and the DCC on the Dom Chick Challenge. Oh, the DCC. Oh, Winky Dink. So yesterday, we're playing clips of the Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah. Oprah Winfrey Show. Oh, gosh. And Oprah had Star Jones, or excuse me, she had Barbara Walters on. And Barbara was talking about the relationship with Star Jones.
And they're talking about how it kind of went from good to bad. Wasn't the most flattering comments. No. No. Specifically, they were talking about Star's gastric bypass surgery, which I've had. Star was not as forthcoming, though, as I was in terms of, which is fine. You don't have to be. I mean, it's whatever you feel comfortable with. She didn't feel comfortable with letting the world know. So she lied. She's like she lied about it. And Barbara was talking about that on The View. Now, the world knew already because it got out there. It got out there. And so I think that that's where Baba felt like she could maybe it wasn't like she was doing an expose here. I mean, the world knew already what she was doing was sort of giving the behind the scenes look at what that situation was like dealing with. On The View. And so she was talking to Oprah about it. Well, when we were playing those clips back yesterday, Eddie goes, well, you know, Star Jones is now going to have to make a retort, a comment. It's coming. And it took about 24 hours. So what did she say, Skye? Wow. Okay. Oh, I can't wait. Oh, I'm ready. Quote.
It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters in the sunset of her life. Oh, wow. Hang on. Now, pause right there. Pause right there. Pause right there. Pause right there. Pause right there. It's just now this is I said this yesterday. Passive aggression is certainly not just it's not just for women. I'm just saying they're better at it. Real good. They're really good at the passive regression. Super good. Yeah. But it's not specific just to women. It's just that they got it honed. And that's kind of what Barbara and Barbara's statements. Same thing. It's.
It's put out there like it's very normal twalk. But what's really very thinly under the surface is jab, jab, jab, jab, jab. You are the Crypt Keeper. Exactly. Same thing here with Star Jones' comments. It's like it's veiled like it's supposed to be very professional and sweet. Oh, yeah. But the sunset of her life. Right? Yeah. We get it. Yeah. Wow. Okay. So it's a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters in the sunset of her life. is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair, and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book. It speaks to her true character. Wow. Now do... Do you think she may be rejoining The View? Do you think she may ever rejoin The View? Or is this probably... You think that maybe it's over between the two of them and the friendship and the whole deal? Maybe. Wow. Ten seconds and she was gone. That was a good ten seconds, though, right? At least, yeah. Ashley was on this season of American Idol. She was one of the folks that did not make it through but gave it her all. I came really close. So when is she going to be on the tour? Like, when does the tour start? Oh, yeah.
No, no, no. No, no, Eddie. Because I know that they do that. No, no. The tour is just for, like, the top ten. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And she was not in that. Came close. Eleven. Oh, shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Eleven. But she is a good singer. So there it is. That is, in fact, Ashley singing. Now, as you notice, sometimes it's not readily apparent what she's singing. So it's your job to figure it out. That is a true statement. If it's not my tone, then it will be tough. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She has said that. Look at the contestants on American Idol now. Don't we say that when they get put in a style of music that they're not used to, they sound awful. Sean, do you have the clip of Jason Castro and his Bob Dylan song? So you see, it happens to the best of them. He's not the best. He's so good. So, 570-1053. Give us a call right now. Ashley, your favorite. You didn't know? I voted five times. Cut 12. Dang it. America has voted and decided that Saisha. Oh, no. You're in the top three. Thank you. Thank you. Astro leaves us tonight on American Idol.
Pack your bags. Boring. Boring. Wouldn't want to be you. So yeah, Jason Castro went home last night. I'm so happy. Finally. That's right. So let's play a little tone deaf karaoke with P1 Kristen. How are you? I'm good. Kristen, you know how the game works, right? Yep. You can't interrupt the clip. You've got to let the entire clip play, which is a part of the fun, isn't it? And then as soon as the clip is done, all you need to do is tell us the title or the artist of the person singing it in order to win. Eddie, what is the prize? We have a $25 gift certificate to the Discovery Channel store. Well done. All right, Kristen, try to tell us what Ashley is singing now. So that was an original? You guys, it was not. It was not an original. I thought she stopped drinking. Kristen, if you can give me title or artist, you win. I have never heard that version before in my life. Yep, yep, yep. Thank you for playing. P1 Bubba S is going to give it a try. Bubba S, are you there? It's beautiful, Eddie.
Bubba S, don't take a guess. I'm going to play it again, and then I just need title or artistry to win. Here we go. During the songs, I will look over at Sky, and I would say that about 80% of the time, a look comes on Sky's face that goes, yep. I got it. That look never came. No, no. It didn't. I was trying. That look never came. I was trying, man. P1 Bubba S, can you tell me what Ashley was singing? No, I think it was Rudolph the Brown-Nosed Reindeer. That is not correct. That is not correct. It was actually White Snake, Is This Love? No, that was not. It was, Eddie. That's not awesome. See, you guys just needed the guitar. No. I see what you're saying. No. Sean looks stunned and angry. I'm like.
It's like the two of them put together. Eddie looks like shock and awe. Yeah, shock and awe. I got sprayed in the face with like pepper spray. It was like hit in the face with pepper spray while looking at the sun directly. P1 Hamburglar's on the line. Yeah, what's up? What's going on, dude? Not much. Ready to play a little tone-deaf karaoke? Let's do it. When you play in your car, you know, when we've done this in the past, how good are you at this? I'm actually pretty good, actually, to tell the truth. Oh, good, because you're going to have to summon all your powers on this one. All we need is title or artist for you to win. Here we go. She really went for it. Unfortunately. Man, that was inspiring. I feel good after hearing that. I could see on Sky's face, it was like, I think maybe. But then that last note just ruined everything. Yeah, there was a delivery for a second. There was a verse there where I was like, okay, okay, I know. And then she hit that last note. Forget it, forget it. I give up. Forget it. P1 Hamburglar, I just need a title or artist for you to win. Oh, I have no clue. That was in Vogue. Come on, Sky. I knew I recognized it.
It's in the title. No, you're never going to get it. I'm preaching in this song, Scarlett. Is that right? Preaching, sister. No, you're never going to get it. Stop it. She stopped doing that. Oh, thank God. The phone is ringing. Hello? You're never going to get it. Okay. Not you too, Barbara. Barbara. I'm telling you, you're never going to get it. No, let's see. What's the matter? How did you guys not know that that was in Vogue the whole time? Yeah, well, you should have been the contestant, obviously. Listen, I don't blame you guys for not getting it. You do have to be black in order to know. Right. I'm a black woman, and I was able to know immediately that that was N-V-O-U-G. That's not Vogue. That's in Vogue. Yeah. Later, guys. Take it easy.
That's my girl. Keep it filthy, Eddie says. So, all right, let's do one more here. Let's go to P1 Sanjaya. Sanjaya? Yeah. You know how the game's played. Yeah. And here we go. What is that? What is that thing? What do you call that? I don't know. I can't get it. You know what it was, Sanjay? Yeah, it's like Warren G. You got it, dude. Wow. You didn't know that? No. Yeah, Eddie was doing that. I don't know what they call that. You know, he's doing it right now. Like he's bringing in a plane. Well, no, it's not really. It's more of a dance move. Yeah, there you go, Eddie. Now he is bringing in a plane. Very close. I know every word to this song. Yeah, you do. It is the jam. Very well done. Sanjaya, you're a winner. Hey!

Brought to you. by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Pretty tough ride still out of Escondido this morning in the South 15. Backing up big time, man, from the 78 through Escondido down into Rancho Bernardo. This mainly due to an earlier accident that's wrapping up in the left-hand shoulder past Rancho Bernardo Road. They caught up with the commute there and made that pretty tough. Getting past that, though, out of RB, you're looking good down the rest of the stretch. This coaster ride, South 5, staying quite heavy as well out of La Casa now. That's a solid slow one all the way to Solana Beach. East County is starting to pick up some slow traffic as well. Westbound 52, a little tight, coming off the 125 up past Mass Boulevard. Your West 8 ride also getting bunched up here from Spring Street out to Lake Murray before it lets you loose. The 94 King Freeway, westbound, minor delays from 28th Street now into downtown. And your usual stuff pretty much to expect out of the South Bay, both the 5 and the 805 northbound.
Of heavier traffic now up past the 54 up to National City. 805 continues to slow up to around the 15 connector and then slows again out of Kearney Mason now heading up over to 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Is this Ryan? Yeah, this is Ryan. Ryan, what's the deal? You went to AMCO? Yeah, actually, I took your advice. Last week, my check engine light came on. Uh-huh. And I heard the radio ad yesterday morning on the way to work. And I went to the Mission Boards location. Uh-huh. And Nick hooked it up. He found out that my number three spark plug wasn't firing. So I told him, hey, you know, I can fix that myself. But I told him, you know, even though he wasn't able to do the service on my truck, that he has my service down the road for when my transmission goes out. Because he did that for free, right? Yeah, he did it for free. See, I mean, how can you not respect that? You didn't end up having it. And most people, they would have charged you just to tell you that. And then, you know what I mean? And now that guy's got a customer for life, and that's basically what Amco's philosophy is. Amco diagnoses you for free, just like this guy. It's double A-M-C-O. You know, it's not the stuff that's good for you. It's just the, I love it. It tastes so good. K-I-O-Z, San Diego's rock. Mikey's show continues, featuring Mikey. I love cars. Eddie. I think I'm immune to Captain Morgan's now.
Sky. I am the Google Oracle. Sean. I think about death all the time. Boston Rob. I'm getting real big into jujitsu. And Ashley. I want to eventually join a hip-hop group and, like, perform on the weekends. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Who's this? I like this song. I have no idea who it is, but I know I've heard it in commercials and stuff. It's what? Snow Patrol. That's good. What does that mean, though? It's one of those bands you go, what is that about? Snow Patrol. Yeah, Snow Patrol. It's when they patrol the snow. 722. A group of San Diego State students protested yesterday against the drug sting arrests. Sky. Yeah. Barry Zito. No, Eddie. I don't want to hear it. Come on, dude. Are you serious? I don't, Eddie. Became the first Giants pitcher to go 0-7 since 1927. Oh!
Hey, at least you're setting records, right? Shut up, Rob. I have a question. Have Mike call him back and apologize. Stop it. Seriously. It's the only way. I'll try anything at this point. Nice thing to do. Rob thinks I jinxed Barry Zito. I know you did. Thinks I jinxed him. What other explanation is there? That's true, Ashley. He's going through a bad time. I don't think I had anything to do with it. It all started back in the late 90s. It didn't. It was 2003. That is the same thing. And I left him a voicemail telling him, hey, man, you're doing great in this game. You just struck out Barry Bonds. And then as soon as I left that voicemail, he lost the game. And his career. Gave up a bunch of runs. Here we are, five years later. And still struggling. Now, Eddie. Reverse the curse. I have a question for you, Eddie. They had put him in the bullpen. Yeah. Well, they said they were, but... They never did? Well, he never made an appearance out of the bullpen. He didn't. So, not really. And so, all of a sudden, they put him back in the rotation. Yes. Do you think they'll put him in the bullpen now? Let me say this. He didn't pitch badly. You know, he only gave up two earned runs. I think. I think he only gave up two earned runs. But they lost. So, he got DL.
Can you and Rob explain that to me? Because I don't understand what that means. What's the difference, or is there, a difference between a couple of runs coming in and something called earned runs? Yes, absolutely. Basically, you can get an unearned run when a guy reaches base on an error or something like that, when it's not basically your fault. And then every run that goes in after that that you're responsible for is an earned run. Okay, I get it. Well, that does not bode well for poor Z. Yeah, he, you know, it's got to be just a little tweak mechanically, something that's just not right. And, you know, eventually they've got to be able to fix it. Mike needs to reverse the curse. You guys, I didn't cause the curse. I wasn't responsible for the curse. I didn't do it in the first place. You ruined him. I will write him a letter. Well, I think it's time for the community to come together. Oh, yeah.
Is this for Zito? Yeah, this one goes out to Barry Zito. Here's Zito Burrito. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a feature on the show. It's called Tough Love with Eddie. Basic idea is that you write in for advice and Eddie answers you back. Now, if you go to the website and you write Eddie, just understand that you're not going to be placated to. Yeah, like this is like if you really want help. Like he'll be a jerk to you. No, hey, I take offense to that. I'm not a jerk. I'm not a jerk. He's not going to tell you what you want to hear. He's going to shoot to you straight from the hip. He's going to shoot you in the face. It's not true either. Well, not completely. It can't be. So let's read our first letter. Let's get to it, man. It says, hey, Eddie, I need your help. See? See that? Can Skye listen with her ears? That's right, Skye. Maybe your heart. That's right. How dare you, Eddie? Go ahead, Mike. Says, hey, Eddie, I need your help. My best buddy Eric is turning into such a wuss. He met this girl like five months ago, and now he never wants to hang out anymore. I can't believe he's so whipped on this girl. She's okay, I guess, but not hanging out with his bro is a crime. We used to go out like every night. Now I only see him like...
Once a week. Can you believe that? How can I get this guy to see he's being a jerk at sign P1 Derek and PB? Eddie? Dear True Bromance, it's beautiful to see people so in love. You are obviously heartbroken because your soulmate has left you for another. You just can't deal with the intensity and passion for each other that you have. I mean, what is he thinking? How could he want to spend time with his girlfriend rather than a sweaty, hairy, smelly dude like yourself? I don't get it either. Once a week? Oh, my. Oh, no. You need to step up your game and win him back. Maybe start sending him provocative pictures of yourself like you and a baby tee.
sipping out of a milkshake with two straws in it. And you know who that other straw is for, big boy. Here's the bottom line. You are very gay for your best friend. And either deal with that fact and get over it or find a new male sweetheart to bitch about. Oh, that was genius. And he just looked at Skye as if to say, and there you go. I don't know why people write him. That's a really good job, Eddie. Legitimate advice like that? To tell them they're gay. No, wait a second. That's basically your advice. You're gay. I'll bet. I'll bet Derek from PB was just in his car listening, and he looked at the radio with that kind of smile and went, thank you, Eddie. Yeah. You get me. That's right. You get me. Oh, my God. You had me at punch. Our next letter reads, Dear Eddie. Yep. I don't have a problem, but I do have a question, and I wanted to see if you would answer something truthfully. Okay. I bet Eddie will. I will give it my best shot. All right. Says, my friends and I are wondering why Mexicans tend to have large families and tend to have lots of babies. This is... He's got a question. He just wants an honest answer. Okay. He says, we actually know the reason why, but wanted to see if you...
as a Mexican, would admit what you're all doing. And what would that be? Well, let me read on. Let me read on. It says, you guys have a long-term plan to take over the U.S. without risking any military action. Now, it says, your plan is to have your babies on our soil and attack the electoral vote. The electoral voting deck in your favor. Stack the electoral voting in your favor. Do you understand what I'm saying? Yes. Do you understand what's going on here? I do understand. He's saying if you reproduce, you guys are all the votes and then you're getting your politics. I think you see what he's saying. Yeah, that's right. He says, don't think you're fooling us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's time for Americans to wake up and see what's really going on. Exposed. I doubt you'll even read this whole thing, so don't worry about it, bro. You're just proving my point. Cordially, Charles from Santee. Eddie? Dear Charlie and the Cholo Factory. Well, you know what, dude? You got us. I mean, we Mexicans have a long-term strategy to take over the U.S. government by doing it.
We all got together in a meeting. So that we could put the White House up on blocks and trick it out. That's really what we'd like to do. We also have a long-term strategy of turning the International House of Pancakes into the Casa of Nopales con Huevos. Somewhere my father just drove off the road laughing. Now, we're also going to change the name of the Tonight Show to... The truth is we just want everyone wearing plaid shirts with only the top button done. But perhaps the most damaging move of all, the one that's going to bring the American people to their knees. Once we take over, we will force every man to grow a jet black mustache.
replace the bald eagle with Speedy Gonzalez, and change the words of the Pledge of Allegiance to the lyrics from Lowrider. Thank you. Welcome to the United States of Amigos. I am in. I love it. It is. It's out there. I love it. I love you. Thank you. Our last letter reads, Dear Eddie, you got married last year in the summertime, so I know you can relate to what I'm going through right now. I'm struggling to put everything together myself and my fiance, unlike you, is not helping. I even told him that I listened to the Mikey show and that you got married last year and actually helped out like a real man should. Well, that just made him more mad. Now he doesn't want to do anything. Fine, whatever. But what's making me the most mad is that now he's criticizing decisions I'm making.
I told him that I wanted all of my girlfriends and I to sing karaoke at the head table right after the best man and maid of honor speeches, and he flipped out and said that that is dumb. Does he have any right to say that since he didn't help? Signed, P1 Junebug. Wow. Eddie? Dear American bridal, first of all, first of all, you're right. I am a bit of an expert on this, so with that being said, let me correct your fiancé, if you will. He is wrong. Your idea is not dumb. It's dumb and lame. And stupid. And ridiculous. Mike, let's not forget that one. Listen. Karaoke is fine if you're drunk or Japanese or think you can sing like Ashley. Okay, yes, yes, I understand. That doesn't mean you should do it at your wedding. Yes. I mean, what's your husband supposed to do while his family watches his future wife and her drunk girlfriend singing Lady Marmalade? I mean, his buddies are going to wonder why he hid the whiskey from the rest of the fellas. That is true. They probably would do that. Apparently, just the chicks are drinking Jack and Cokes.
Just the embarrassing part. Now the stupid factor. It's your wedding, not the bar area at Applebee's. Are you serious? I mean, you can do the limbo too. Why don't you just bob for apples? I don't know. Maybe hike up your dress and crush grapes with your feet. Make a little wine for your new mother-in-law. Don't get it. Make sure your feet are slippery on your way to her table so you slip and get your wedding dress all stained up real good with grape juice. I mean, it's a wedding, not a Jeff and Jer promotion. You want to sing with your girls, join a choir. Until then, leave your boy alone. It's creepy. even address the question. That was beautiful. I will now accept your attraction. But you didn't even address the question. That was gorgeous. That was gorgeous. But the question wasn't even a draw list. Sky? Whatever. Can't you hear it? Coming up midway? No. It's the sound of healing. You are welcome, Sandy. This is The Mikey Show. I love The Mikey Show. You guys are awesome. Thank you, brother.

Are you in one of these situations where you're working a couple of jobs, maybe even more than a couple of jobs, and it doesn't matter if I'm talking to you right now and you're a man or a woman. It doesn't matter. You're working a couple of jobs. Maybe you're driving to one right now and you are dog tired. Maybe you're in one of these situations where your boyfriend or your girlfriend or your husband or your wife is kind of on you. And they're saying, come on, this job that you have and this job that you have is just not working out. There is something very, very special going on right now. And I am telling you that I'm really I'm stoked and I'm kind of proud of the fact that I get to be a part of telling you about it. And it's the fact that the Border Patrol is hiring right now. This doesn't happen often because of something that President Bush is doing. He's saying we need to hire a lot more of these agents. This is not going to last, folks. I've been talking about it for a while.
And you got to get in on it. I'm talking about the Border Patrol hiring. I'm going to give you a website. And I urge you, when you get to work right now, if you're in a job that isn't working out for you, you don't want to do, try this website. Border Patrol dot gov. B-O-R-D-E-R-P-A-T-R-O-L dot G-O-V. Back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I picked my nose a lot. Eddie. I just want my sandwich like I want my sandwich. Skye. I enjoy presents. What can I say? Sean. I'm kind of the transient of the bunch. And Ashley. I'm a very loving, nurturing person. On Rock 105.3. Back, it is 7.39. All People Magazine has confirmed it. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon did get married in the Bahamas last week. The Padres right now are in a black hole of emotion. They lost for the 16th time in 20 games. This time to Atlanta 5-2. We used restaurants on the run last night. Oh, yeah? How was it? It's so good, man. That company is a cool company. They deliver it to your house. That's nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Rebecca got to choose last night. We go back and forth. Cute. If I choose, it's usually Claim Jumper. Variety, you know? Yeah. Love the desserts there.
And if she's choosing, it's always going to be Pat and Oscars. Oh, yeah. Get it, girl. Always going to be that. The breadsticks. And so last night she got the Pat and Oscars and she brought the Pat and Oscars. Well, first of all, she said, do you want she said, I'm going to go downstairs. She said, I have some work to do up here. She says, do you want me to bring you up any? And I very, you know, sort of like a. A four-year-old said, no, it's okay, I'm fine. As if to say, well, I don't really want any of that. And so she said, okay. So she went down there and she brought it up. And what happened was, is what usually happens, once I see it and smell it, I want it. Of course, get a whiff of those breadsticks, dude. They're the best. Dude, the breadsticks. They are the best. And so I started doing something that many of you couples, probably know about, and that is picking off the other person's, your spouse's plate. Oh, that's bad. Your girlfriend's plate or your boyfriend's plate. Did you say that's bad? Well, yeah. Or have you been talking to my husband? About what specifically? Yeah, I thought your husband loves it when you guys share. Yeah. Well, I thought so too, Mike. Oh, no. What? What's going on? Oh, I really thought he mentioned this to you last time we hung out or something. No, he didn't. Uh-oh.
Like he pulled you over and said, hey, man, I really got to talk to you. Well, no. Just, you know, they came off. Oh, yeah, we had this little thing. No. So, yeah. Basically, what? I've been with the guy. We're going to be married eight years this year. We're together three years before that. That's so neat. So we're coming up on 11 years of being together. That's crazy. 11 years of me eating off this guy's plate. And just the other night at dinner, he wanted to let me know he doesn't care for that. Really? Wow. Are you allowed to do that? He's good. Yeah, are you allowed to do that after 11 years? He's not even allowed. No way, Jose. You know. Just take some time to build up. Sky, how did that hit you? I was not a fan. I was immediately offended. I had the emotions that I get when he tells me to use my inside voice. It's the same kind of thing where I felt like a little kid and I, you know, should be ashamed of my behavior. What were you eating? What did you reach over and get? What did he say? And how did you react physically? Physically. Yes, I want to know like how, I want to see like what it looked like. Facial expression. Yes, yes, yes. And then what was said? Well, we were at one of our favorite Mexican places in Escondido. So you had a side of rice.
Really? Eddie's got that look on his face like, uh-oh, maybe it was. Too far? Too far. Now's not the time, maybe. She wasn't reaching for any cheese product and milk product. That is true because, well, now that he's brought it up. What was that? Sky has the IBS, that is the irritable bowel syndrome, so she can't eat the dairy. I try to avoid dairy. Can we just all grow up? I think we're all being mature about it. I'm not trying to. Grow up? Anyway. So we're at our favorite Mexican place, and we always go during happy hour because happy hour appetizers are 50% off, which is a deal. Me, Guadalajara. Me, Guadalajara. You don't need to tell everyone. What's 50%? You don't need to tell everyone about my place. Now you feel that it'll get so crowded. Yeah. I mean, how am I supposed to get in during happy hour? You don't want to turn into the Outback, do you, Mike? I can't even go there anymore. Shut up. And they don't take Roswell Vaughn. All right.
So the boo always gets the boo. The boo is her husband, by the way, for those of you that are new. She calls him the boo. Well, it says it on his birthday. The boo. Yeah. So he always gets the like appetizer sampler platter. I forget what it's called. It's like the Mi Guadalajara. I think it's called the appetizer sampler platter. No, it's not. It's not. It has like a special name. It's like the Fiesta de Mi Guadalajara or something. Yeah, whatever. It's a sampler platter basically is what it is. Like nachos, quesadillas. Gotcha, Sky. That's fine. They just recently added chicken wings, which is kind of weird. We get the message. I don't really know whether they're like spicy, but anyway. So, you know, I always grab stuff off there because, like, I thought we had this system where I get a soup and salad and then I eat. The system you made up. And then I, you know, I take a little something off his plate to kind of, you know, fill me up. Yes. Why don't you order your own food to fill you up? Their tortilla soup is so good. But if I were to get that and a meal, yeah. But if I were to get that and a meal, it would be too much food.
But anyway, so. I get that 100%. Right? Be glad for the food on your plate. It's not right, though. It's 100% right. I get it. I'm with you. I think this may be part of the reason that it put him over the top is because part of the sampler platter is nachos. Yeah. And I'm very picky. Like, I don't like tomatoes on them, but I do like jalapenos. So I'm, like, kind of across the table, like, digging around in there. You know, like, trying to not get things off. Who's going to be okay with that? Trying not to get the tomato, but trying to get. a tiny bit of guac. Picture this, by the way, guys. It's your dish in front of you. You're hungry, you want to dig in, but you're waiting for your wife to excavate your food. No, stop it. He was not waiting. He was enjoying his quesadilla. So, yeah. So, basically, at that point, he expressed to me that, you know, it kind of gets up in his business when I do that. How did he say it? Oh, gosh, I don't remember the exact words. I wasn't, like, taking notes. Get out of here, you jerk! No, he, you know, he was definitely very, like...
cool about it, but at the same time expressed his feelings and let me know that this is not appropriate. And I was like, well, cause you know, I don't eat that much when we go out. So I always like give him my leftovers. Right. And I'm like, so why is that cool? You always eat my food. Yeah. And he goes, I eat your food when you're done eating it. Thank you. Like you're putting your business up in my business and I'm just starting. And what if that like particular nacho he wanted, he doesn't get it. But it's his food. But we're married. What do you mean particular nacho bites? It's been 11 years. It's been 11 years. T-H-E-I-R. What does that have to do with anything? So what? He wants his nacho like he wants his nacho. When he said that, what did you say? Well... Immediately shut down. Yes. Pouty face. Oh, no. Like, I should be ashamed. I'm obviously the most horrible person. We practically punched you in the face. So you got it. No, see, Eddie, I'm trying to express how I'm being overdramatic. Eddie thought that this was like, oh, lesson learned. I was finally like, Sky gets it finally. This is great. We've made a breakthrough. By the way, if anybody else deals with this thing.
5701053, if you are a picker of your person's stuff. It's the best way to go, man. It's the only way to go. It's like variety, you know? If you like it, if you don't like it, 5701053, text us 35253. So how did this... Well, then I started going into the overacting. Oh, no, you are a child. Fine. No, no, fine. I get it. I see. I see. So you just ate your soup. Yeah, I will get a permission slip next time. I want to have something off your plate. I'll make sure to get it notarized. Brutal. Now he feels bad because he's watching her just have soup. Right. She should have ordered food then. Did you just eat the soup? I get it. I only get the scraps. I see. How it is. And, of course, he's, like, laughing at me because he knows my dramatics at this point. You know, that I'm just a clown. And we really haven't talked about it since. Question. Really? And I will do it again. No, you won't. Oh, yeah, you will. He told you not to. I'll get in there. That was my question. I will do it again, Mike. I was going to ask, what happens next time? He's told you he doesn't like it. Why would you do it again? This is going to be a full-on drag-out turf war.
Over his sampler platter. What's he going to do about it, Eddie? What's he going to do about it? Is he going to divorce me? Bottom line is she's kind of got him in this situation. There's not much he can do about it. Is he going to build a wall on the table? In fact, Sky, you might even try this. You might even reach over, grab a chunk of that quesadilla real slow. Look at him. Don't say a word. Just look at him. Open your mouth. Take a big bite and go, what are you going to do about him? I mean, I love him today. What are you going to do about this? You're going to dive in there and get it? P1 Brenda. Don't look at me like that. Yeah, about that. My husband is just the worst. Like, I'm starting out with something he will just, he can't help himself. He'll just go and grab it and eat it. Sometimes, like Eddie said, that nacho, you're saving for the end. And he'll just...
Go for it because that's the one that has the most cheese and meat. But that's why you were saving it. The best bite. Yeah, it's the best one. The best bite. Don't you love your husband? Wouldn't that be nice of you to give him the best bite? Hasn't anyone heard of community property? No way. Has anyone heard of standing the line? The food is not community property. I ordered it. It is mine. I beg to differ. Under the eyes of the law, it is community property. Yeah, because is it legally it was your money that is being used to purchase? It is our money. I have not paid for the meal yet. As a team. I ordered the meal. That means it is my possession. Says who? Says the law. Oh, really? Nine-tenths of the law. Oh, yes. Statistically, huh? P1 Josh is on the line. Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead, Josh. I just want to say that maybe it took Mr. Sky 11 years to get it out that he didn't like that because he had to work up the courage. Maybe. What do you mean maybe? Of course. Stop it. You guys are probably crying in the fetal right now. No. Come on. We have a great relationship. Stop. You can talk to me about anything. Yep. My wife, listen.
I might be okay with my wife getting stuff off of the plate, but I do have this one rule. In fact, I don't know that I've ever said the rule out loud. I'll say it now for the first time if my wife is listening. Please make a note of it and abide by this. Sometimes she will take a bite before I've taken a bite. Oh, yeah. That's what I always do. When it comes to the table. That's what I always do. That's the worst. That's like reading your magazine before you get to... Oh, Eddie, don't do that to me. You know what you're doing. Because you know she does that. What? You know... That's news to me. Dude, that's... You know exactly what you're doing. That's news to me. It's the worst when she takes the people before I get the people. Yeah. Let me read people before you start reading it. What's the problem? You deserve first bites of the food you ordered. Skye, you don't do that, though, right? It doesn't really matter. Of course it matters. It doesn't. What's the difference? It does not matter. It matters. This is garbage. It's all about the first bites. It's nice and warm, and you can get a plethora of everything on the plate. Eat your own food.
We're a team, Eddie. Thank you. It's called Spreading the Love. Yep, it is. Then why do you get all the perks? Now, check this out. When we come back, we're going to talk to P1 Vicky. She said she's a picker. She's starting to date this guy. He doesn't know yet that she's a picker, and she wants to know how does she start the picking process. You don't. No, we can work this out. She hasn't gone there yet. Just don't do it. She hasn't gone there yet. So we'll talk to Vicki when we get back. Text us, 35253. Call us, 570-1053. What's a P1? P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to The Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. I'm of the P1 Army. The Mikey Show. All right. I got my sunglasses there as well. You did? Isn't that funny? Yeah. That's adorable. Yeah, and the other day I was walking down the street, and they're like, oh, my gosh, Angelina Jolie, you had the baby already. And I was like, no, actually, my name is Skye, and Angelina's still pregnant. She's in the French Riviera right now. So I took that as a compliment. Uh-huh. You look like you don't believe me, Eddie. I do believe you. Okay. Well, listen, here's the deal. You need a good pair of sunglasses if you live in San Diego. And Sunglass and Optical Warehouse is the best place in San Diego. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It is 8 a.m. Well, this is setting a bad precedent, Rob. A judge ruled yesterday that a Red Sox fan must pay damages to a Yankees fan over a Carlsbad bar fight.
Wow. The Twins' Carlos Gomez hit for the cycle last night. That's a single, a double, and a triple, and a home run? Correct. That's amazing. That's amazing. The guy actually had a reverse cycle where he hit the home run first, then a triple, then a double, then he got the single. That's nuts. Very rare. A lot of drama at City Hall. We got the audio. We'll play it again for you. If you missed it, it's crazy, man. They had to shut the mics off. Because Aguirre was going at it. You can text us at 35253. Do not forget this Saturday, two days from now, we're going to be out at Qualcomm doing the Mikey Show sticker stop. I have a feeling it's going to become a news story. I hope so. Well, it was last year, man. We caused a sick alert on Interstate 15. And basically the reason, there's a pretty high demand for this sticker. We're talking about the brand new Mikey Show P1 Army sticker. It's been redesigned, and we unveiled it on the website. You can check it out by going to MikeyShow.com. Type in the keyword sticker, and you can see what it looks like. Get it put on your car. $200,000 in cash and prizes being given away while you're out there. It's going to be an amazing event, and all of us are going to be out there. Let me see.
Every single person that comes through is going to get a $50 gift certificate towards a tattoo at Good Neighbor Tattoo. Wow. And also a free car wash from Massey Toyota. See, when you come through there, we put a sticker on your car, hand you an envelope. The envelope, everybody's envelope, will have in it what I just mentioned. Two prizes. Two prizes right off the bat. Every single person. It's amazing. Wow. Now, one person is going to win. A Kawasaki 2008 Ninja 250R from House of Motorcycles. But some of the other prizes include $2,500 gift certificate from Audio Car toward audio-video equipment. They're also going to have in one of those envelopes a flat-screen TV from Encinitas TV. Awesome! A $1,000 gas card. How about season tickets to the Chargers this season? Oh, my God. It's amazing, man. It's amazing. So when you come through there, your chances are just as good as anybody's to get that. Plus, everybody gets the sticker on their car. So don't forget, we've been blowing this thing up, man. It's going to be Saturday morning, 10 to 1, the entire show out there, stage built, stuff going on. It's going to be gnarly. Come out and see us. So what we're talking about, how did we get on this? I don't remember.
Well, you were talking about Patton Oscars. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Skye said, when did this happen, Skye? It was like a week ago. You didn't tell us? Well, I didn't think it was. It's fantastic. I didn't think it was fantastic. Skye has been married for 11 years, ate something off her husband's plate. He finally said, you know what? Not so much. Don't really enjoy that when you do it. I've really hated it all this time. Well, he didn't say that. He didn't say that. He didn't like it. I think it was just that one nacho that put him over the top. So we're getting texts about it at 35253. We're getting your phone calls at 570-1053. What was your take on people eating off your plate? Your husband, your wife, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your friend. I don't know, whatever. It says, hey, Mikey, I hate it when my girlfriend picks at my plate. I ordered this food and this amount of food because I intend on eating this food. Not giving half. Next text says, when my dude is sick of me picking, he peppers his food and I hate pepper. What a brilliant plan. Super genius. This one says, the worst is when I ask my husband if he wants me to make him something I'm about to make, and he says no, then proceeds to eat at least half of mine. So she's cooking it. Mikey, I have the same problem.
My wife will pick up my food any chance she gets. I hate it. She always takes the best-looking bites. Well, of course, they're the best-looking bites. P1 Pats fan. You know, I mean, if there is a set plan of like, you know what, hey, let's split our meals. You get this, I'll get this, and we'll split it. That's fine. Yeah, it's called marriage. It's in the vows. It's in the vows. It is. It was. But if you order something yourself. and I order something myself, then do not take anything off of my plate unless you get permission first. Permission? Absolutely, it's my food. You're supposed to be like, hey, teacher, can I go? I don't know why you would say that. Why can't you just say, may I have a bite of that? May I have a bite of that? Now. Before we went to break, I said that we have P1 Vicky on the line. Yeah. Vicky the picky. I don't think anyone calls her that, Eddie. Well said. Vicky the picky, are you there? Yes, I'm Vicky. How are you? I'm good. Actually, I'm picking my way to work right now. That's right. How old are you, Vicky? I'm 31. Okay, now Vicky is a picker.
She's the type that when she's eating out at dinner, she will reach over and get the food that is on her boyfriend's plate. Now, she's dating this new guy. Oh, no. Yes. What's his name? Steve. All right. Now, Steve doesn't know yet that you do this, right? Not really. Not yet. I'm trying to figure out how to get him to figure out that that's what I do. Now, Eddie is saying don't even go there. Yeah. Avoid it at all costs. Don't listen to Eddie. But I think Skye and Ashley may have advice for you of how you accomplish this goal. Okay. Yeah, this is awesome because you're right, like fresh in the relationship. So he's like all into you and he doesn't want to do anything wrong. So you have a lot of power right now. So true. So what you need to do is you need to be straightforward and be like, yeah, be like, hey, you know, of course you're wearing some top that shows cleavage when you say this. It helps. That's manipulation.
And what you need to say. That is global manipulation right there is what that is. That's global manipulation. You need to know. True crisis. Oh, wow. That looks really good. Do you mind if I have a bite of that? And then you take a little bite off his plate. If he says yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, and if he says no, he's a monster. Well, he's not going to say no. He's not going to say no. He's not going to say no. So when he says yes, you go, okay. And then the precedent has been set and you're good for the rest of your life. Now, does that mean, Skye, that once you ask, he says yes. for the future, that means you don't have to ask the next time, you just go for it. Right, right, right. That is not true. That is what it means. She said it herself. The precedent has been set. The precedent is you ask for permission, I grant you permission, and then you can have the money. The president is asking. The president is that he is cool. The president is cool. That's the weird thing is that the president is now here. President Bush is now going to respond on Vicky being a picker. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you President Bush. Thank you. First of all, Vicky, I am deporting you to Chile. Get out of here. You can't do that, president. I don't like you. That's not cool, dude.
Vicky, I think that you have a few ideas now as to how to move forward with this. And I wish you Godspeed. Thank you. Best of luck to you. P1 Marcos. How are you guys doing? He's actually got a name. He's actually got a name. This is how we do it in our household. Not only are we pickers, it's bred into my children that they learn the meaning of taxation right off the bat. So he says, check this out. Before you go any further, Marcos, what Marcos says is, you know that thing that I was talking about that drives me crazy with my wife, Rebecca, where when I get my plate, before I even touch it, she reaches over and gets it? Right. He calls this maneuver taxing. He gets his pull first. It's all done in rank by age. You can't tax somebody older than you because you have to put their neck down. Oh, my God. Shut up. Wow. Okay, now, being the father and the provider in the house, I get the first crack off the soda. I get the middle of the cinnamon roll. I get the last bite of the juicy burrito. Oh, you got the hook up, Sprout. Now, I got a question. Hang on a second. Hang on, Marcos. This is an outrage. We got an email from P1 Coach, and he says, what would Skye do if the boo started eating some of her tortilla soup that she loves so much?
Before she even had her first bite. In other words, taxing. That's fine. So if he taxed you on that. You say that now, but if it happened. I think it has. It probably has happened. It would never happen. If he taxed you on that tortilla soup, you're telling me. I'm good with it. Skye, first of all, you need to get the visual of the soup. Because you don't even have. Thank you. Imagine that delicious tortilla soup with the crispy little tortillas in there. Now, you want to be the first to break the seal on that tortilla soup and have the first crunchy bite. Of course. What if the boo were to reach over and tax you on it and have the first crunchy bite himself, leaving you with soggy chips? It'd be okay. Yeah, the chips aren't going to go soggy in 30 seconds. This is a lie. Eddie, this isn't true. This is a lie. I believe, Skye. After you tax that first bite, that's it. You can't continue on and dig into the person's plate or drink. I agree with that. Now, hold on a second. Go ahead, Eddie. Hold on. Go ahead, please. I know that Skye and the Boo like their cinnamon rolls.
If he taxed that middle part of that cinnamon roll from you, you would flip. He would have his own cinnamon roll, first of all. Doesn't matter. He'd probably have two cinnamon rolls, and I would have one. Imagine if they were out, they had one left. Yeah. You guys, you're like, okay, we'll take it. We'll split it. No. He's taxing you. So what is that? I don't know. He's taking his share. So we're sharing it. Yeah, that's fine. He wants the middle. Why can't you share the middle? I think I got it, Eddie. Yeah, that's what we would do. Let's say they're walking through. Eddie, I got it. They're walking through the mall. There's Cinnabon. They're walking through the mall. There's Cinnabon. Yeah, and you share it. They're walking through the mall. There's Cinnabon. And Sky says, oh, look at that. There's a Cinnabon in my midst. Oh, they smell so good. I think I'd like one. So they go over. One left. She gets it. If he tacks that Cinnabon. We would share it. See, she's not. She's not being. She's not. What if it was a honey big fan? Oh, dude, now you're talking something. Why are you going there, Eddie? You're going to an area where she ain't sharing that sucker. You know her deal with ham. Side of rice. You know her deal with ham. I mean, Rob, how many times are you going to say side of rice? It's his only joke. Let him go with it. I'm just going to use that even when it doesn't apply. Rob thinks that Skye and.
Loving ham is really funny. He's always thought that. It's the best. Oh, boo. Come here, buddy. How is it expensive? Me neither. Now, this is Skye singing about ham. I'm hammin' like a honey baked, too. Oh, yeah. I'm hammin', hammin'. Because of ham food. It tastes so good. I would eat ham in the nude. Oh, yeah, all you pigs pay the price with your trivial lives. I bid you hams a do. Oh, yeah, I'm hamming. In college, I took a ham class. Oh, yeah, I'm hamming. Hamming. Ham is better after smoking the grass. Wait a second, Scott. I'm not a fan of the ham. Eat until I get old.
If ham is in my sight, you can expect a fight. My ham is as precious as gold. Oh, yeah. I'm hamming, hamming, hamming. Honey, ham is a great reward. Oh, yeah. I'm hamming, hamming, hamming. Ham's in my brawl. I'm saying some of this stuff. It's pretty good. I love me some ham. You know how Terrell Owens loves crazy? Not ham. What are you going to do? She loves ham. She does. I like ham. That's catchy. P1 Laura is on the line, and your man will not share with you? Well, I try to, like, clear it with him first in the beginning and say, hey, you know, that's, like, Sky, like, I really like tortilla soup. And so, hey, I'll get the soup, and I'll split it with you, and you get the cheeseburger, and I'll split that with you. But he won't do that. Why?
And if I go to, and then, you know, I'm like, hey, that's really selfish because he'll take food off of my plate. Oh. Even off of my fork. Double standard. Eddie, is that right? Is that wrong? Talk to me about this. Is that a double standard? That should be illegal. Totally a double standard. At least I asked first. And he just totally like, I'll go to stab like a piece of chicken with my fork and he'll take it off of my fork. What a jerk. Eddie, your feelings. He won't split it with me. I feel that he probably is the provider and he can tax. Oh, my gosh. Oh, so now men are allowed to do it whenever they want, but women can't. I like that whole taxation thing. Yeah, it's a taxation on lactation, I think, is what the actual phrase is. Since men can't lactate, we can't lactate. That's ridiculous. This one says, if Mr. Sky doesn't want Sky eating his nachos, I have two words, mustard nachos. Oh. Genius. So you want to try to kill Skye? Skye hates mustard. That's the deal. That is ridiculous. And no one would put them on nachos. Mikey, picking is intrusive. This would not go over well in the animal world. Imagine lions picking at a gazelle. Humans have the same instinct to a certain degree. Thank you. Agree or disagree? 570-1053. Text us. 35253. P1 Jack. Yes.
Go ahead. Hey, my wife and I have an understanding. You know, we know what each other likes, and we know if something we're eating, they're going to like. So we'll offer bites to each other. We don't need to pick off each other's plates. Oh, I love that. You're an angel, and you get it, sir. That's what my honey does with me, and that's why I love him. Oh, my goodness. I love you so much. There it is. So, let's see. I wanted to play you that audio. You probably missed it because we played it really early this morning, the beginning of the show. I want to play you the audio of City Council Meeting. They had to shut their microphones off because they were going off. It's crazy. Who do you think it was? I'm not going to tell you who it was, but his name rhymes with Mike Aguirre. Welcome to another Cable Fable Story Minute brought to you by AT&T.

Hey, who is this? This is P1 Travajo. P1 Travajo, what up? What's up, Mikey? Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for recommending AIS Insurance. Love it. Yeah, dude, friggin', I had a progressive. Before, limited coverage, nothing, no medical, no towing, no rental, no nothing. Right. And called them. They hooked me up with full coverage. Saved $650 for the year. Three DUIs totally saved me money. Dope. I saved $1,600 when I switched it. Well, you're better off than me. Yeah, no, no, no. I'm just saying, if you're driving right now and you're listening and you're hearing Travajo's story and you're hearing my story, you got to... Call AIS. 1-800-777-4AIS because they save you money. That's all I'm telling you. And Travaho, I did not ask him to call. He hears me talk about AIS. He heard it. He called in. Yeah, it was rad because I actually called the day before and renewed my coverage. Yeah. And it was almost $1,100 for six months. Well done.
I called AIS the next day. It wasn't even 24 hours after I renewed it, and it was $1,400 for the year instead of almost $1,100 for six months. That's great. Travaho, congratulations, and thank you for calling. I appreciate it, Mikey. All right, man. 1-800-777-4AIS. Start a new Mother's Day tradition at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa. Not too much, Tom. It's good to talk to you again, man. We had you in the studio not too long ago, and it's always good to talk to you. I just wanted to call in because I know something's kind of hit close to home for you guys is that drug busting happened at the school, man. That just really blew me out. I'll tell you what. That's right. I just want to say a quick commentary on that if I could. Go ahead, Tom Arnold. What did you want to say about it? Well, I think it's sad. I actually had a friend who went to that school.
He used to be a major supplier of cocaine. His name was Chris Grayson. Wait a minute. What are you doing, man? Don't use names, Tom. Tom does this. It's totally cool. He's a good guy. I'm losing alcohol now. No. It's the Mikey Show. Welcome back. It's 823. For the third time in less than a week, a coyote has tried to attack a child in Southern California. Are you kidding me? Third on the move, man. I'm telling you. I'm trying to take over. I think they're trying to take over and they want to get like the coyote vote or something. Well, yeah, they're stealing the kids and they're trying to raise them as coyotes so that they can become a hybrid of coyote slash child. I get it. I get what you're saying. I don't. Now that I think about it, me either. Anyway, Kobe Bryant yesterday had 34 points leading the Lakers to a 120-110 win over Utah. So our city council here in San Diego, we're a little messed up.
Well, first of all, the city's a mess. Practically has to file for bankruptcy. Can barely afford toilet paper and city places. I mean, it's bad. What are some of the issues that we've had? Well, first of all, arguing over everything. But second of all, just being in a financial... The pension deficit. Corruption. No Charger Stadium. All that stuff. Donna Frye looks the way she does. She's sunfish daddy. She's a surfer, girl. She surfs. Now, here's the deal. Yesterday, Mike Aguirre and the Colonel Sanders talking about our mayor, Jerry Sanders. They have an issue with each other right now, Skye. What happened? Okay, so this all revolves around the Family Justice Center, which is basically a place where people who are victims of domestic violence can go to get any kind of service they need in regards to domestic violence.
And what the mayor wants to do is he wants to outsource the Family Justice Center to the YWCA and, you know, basically have them in charge of it, which he says will still provide the same services to everybody, but at the same time will save the city like millions of dollars. Okay. What's the YWCA? That is like the YMCA only for women. For women. Oh. Never heard of it. Well, there you go. Learn something new every day, huh? That's right. Cool. So, basically, Micah Geary, for some reason, as our city attorney, is in charge of the Family Justice Center, is the head of it, or has a big part or a big say in it, and he does not like the idea of outsourcing it to the YWCA. So, yesterday at City Hall, they were discussing it. A bunch of people from the YWCA were there, and there were lots of feelings being shared. That is true. Cut 39. I'm on the board of the YWCA. I'm sorry. It's okay, Rob. I was just personally threatened by the city attorney, and it's very upsetting to me to have him speak to me the way he did today. I want to know. What does that mean? Like, how? What did he say? What did he do? Rob brought up an interesting point when we were talking about this earlier. Yeah. Go ahead, Rob. Well, it's a domestic violence thing that he's running here. What exactly is this guy? It's called the Family Justice Center, and basically their website describes it as a one-stop shop.
for domestic violence services. So there is some irony in this woman saying, I was just, you know... Threatened. Threatened. A little bit. Well, he said accidents happen. Oh, my God. Accidents happen. You don't want to end up falling down the stairs. I didn't read that. Yeah, you know, sometimes. You never know. Now... This guy fell and... A little bit later on... A half of 18 bullets. Okay. A little bit later on, they're discussing, they're discussing, and... Well, things start to get heated. The male voice that you're going to hear here is Mike Aguirre. And the female voice that you hear come on halfway through it is the moderator. Yeah. Well, the first voice is like another council member, a male council member. Okay. Jim Mattafer. Yeah. And then you'll hear Aguirre and then you'll hear Tony Atkins come in. Oh, that's who it is? Tony Atkins? Yeah. Do her thing. Tony Atkins has to cut him off. Love her diet, by the way. Love it. It's all meat. You can't have any carbs at all. How many times? It can be tough, but works great. Yeah, you know what? And in honor of her, over there at In-N-Out Burger, you can get an actual burger. Please. And the bun is in lettuce. Protein style. Protein style. Protein style. Just tell them you want it Tony Atkins style. Please. Really smart. Was Matt South Beach there, too?
Cut 40. He obviously doesn't like the former city attorney, and he doesn't like the idea of moving the Family Justice Center. Oh, Mr. Censor, did you want to call him? No, excuse me, Mr. Brown Act Violator. Excuse me, this is not proper for him. Excuse me, Mr. Brown Act Violator? Okay, let me. She cut him off. I cut all of you off. No. He's yelling in the background. Mr. Aguirre, I am calling you out of order. Oh, no, you didn't. Oh, yeah. She's over it. That is. A mess. How does a crazy person have that position? I don't know, man, but it's a mess. I don't know that Mike Aguirre is crazy. Well, like, he's seriously got some issues if he's getting caught, like, his mic shut off and being called out of order. Like, dude, that's not normal. Like, normal people don't act like that. I'm out of order. You're out of order. This whole courtroom is out of order. So, uh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
What about that school bomb? What'd that turn out to be? Well, we reported yesterday morning that a middle school in Mira Mesa was on shutdown because there were reports that there was a bomb that exploded in a trash can on campus early yesterday morning. It was a bomb! Well, so, you know... The school was called Wagenheim. Oh, no. Yes, it's Wagenheim School. Yes, middle school. And so, basically, they, you know, walked down the school, they searched the school... You pronounce the W's. With the V's. Okay, thank you. So, Wagenheim. That's nice to know. That's why you're listening to Wagner when you play the music. Okay. It is not necessarily pronounced Wagner. Okay, thank you. Well said. Pronounce it. Wagner.
Well, thank you. Thank you. So they locked down the school. They did a search. They didn't find any other, you know, bombs or anything like that. And then it turns out that a 12-year-old there at the school ended up confessing that he was the one who made this. Like, well, I don't know if he was ratted out and then confessed, but the final thing is he did end up confessing that it was him who made this, one of those dry ice bombs in a plastic bottle. Threw it in the trash can, and that's what it was. Luckily, no one was injured. But the kid is 12 years old, is in juvenile hall on felony charges of possessing, transporting, and using a destructive device. I wonder if that was a good decision. That's very, very bad. I wonder if his parents are upset. Yeah, I wonder if they're angry at that. Here is a police spokesperson to talk about that. Cut 42. It is a student of the school, a male 7th grader. The consequences of this are stern. Cases in which devices are located on campus where a suspect is found and where lies are at risk rises to the level of a felony, which is our most serious offense. They carry cha-cha charges. He's a mama menace. Yeah, he is. You don't hear that about little girls. Little girls don't usually have that in them. Making bombs at home. It's a guy thing. Throwing them in trash cans. Yeah. We're born with something real different than you ladies. Yeah. Girls can still be bad.
Yeah, they could be bad, but they don't usually have that. I was a terrible kid. They don't have that gear. I had some kind of gear, though. You didn't have a destructive gear, did you? It was an extremely destructive gear. Did you really? But not, like, I wouldn't build bombs. What would you do? I would cuss at my barbies, you know. What would you do? Give me an example. I'd murder other students, would you? Like, get in physical fights with my siblings. Yeah. But see, everybody does that. What I'm saying is women, little girls, they don't usually have that gear in them to be destructive, blow things up, shoot things. Little boys, they do. Little girls, they're born with something different. It doesn't mean they won't fight, because little girls, they'll fight like crazy with their siblings. But they don't have that gear in them. Did your sister, Eddie? She was nuts. Oh, he's pondering. He's pondering, I can tell. I knew what he was pondering, too. It's ponderous. You're very pensive right now. She did a lot of violent things, Michael. What did she do, Eddie? Give me one example. She tried to attack me with a butcher knife on several different occasions. Eddie, aren't you blowing that out of proportion? I'm just asking. No, no, no. I'm just trying to ask questions here. That's all. That's crazy, Eddie. Oh, you could have died. Mike. I almost drowned on three different occasions because of her.
Yeah, but Eddie, I mean, weren't you the one that was out there crawling around? I mean, top of the tarp. I mean, you do the crime. I did get in trouble for it. No, you did not. I did not. Did you really? Yes. Eddie, ask for me. And she was watching me, and I was younger than her, and she told me to climb onto our pool cover to go get something, and I fell underneath and almost died. That's terrible. And then I got in trouble. That's crap, Eddie. Me! I'm sorry. That's awful. That's crazy. That's awful, and I think we've all learned a valuable lesson from this, you know? My sister is Satan. I agree with you. I agree with you. I think that's exactly what we were trying to say. It's a lesson learned, you know? Suddenly, Skye started dreaming of Riggins. So good. So good. I don't even know now. Principal Robert Grano.
Talking about what happened, cut 41. The first thing that we did was we went into a lockdown mode because we wanted to make sure that all students were safe and that there was no danger to staff or students. Staff members and students kind of ran toward the area of the quad where they saw kind of a large plume of smoke. It's unfortunate that kids don't think a little bit more about their actions and their consequences. Tell me about it. How bad was the kid? in your neighborhood. And when I say that, you should know exactly what I mean. If you had that kid in your neighborhood, that's what I'm talking about. Could be you too. Could be you. You could have been an awful child. Maybe as I'm saying that, you're like, oh, well, that was me. So I either want to hear it was you or what the story is that it was that kid in the neighborhood. Because there was always that kid getting himself in trouble. Oops, I burnt down the 7-Eleven. Right. Sorry. Oops, I blew up my neighbor's mailbox. I was a bit destructive when I was five. You guys know I was playing with matches and I burnt down the backyard. Burnt down the back fence. And my parents didn't even find out about it. The neighbors were able to put it out with a hose and I think that they granted me some sort of clemency. And so I didn't get in trouble for it, but I was very frightened. Tell me about that kid in your neighborhood.
Maybe your school, 570-1053. Text us 35253. You got stories? Let's hear you. Also, when we come back, I wonder who Jimmy Carter is going to endorse. But this guy brought the Palestinians and the Israelis together. So you kind of think to yourself, a guy like that, he's got to know what's up. Who does he like, Obama? Or Hillary Clinton. Got that question asked to him last night on the Tonight Show. We'll play the audio for you. And who was that kid in your neighborhood? 5701053. It's next. It's all gay. Well, my husband and I went back last May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector, so it was really cool.
And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Courtney Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on a Costco mattress. The Sleep Train was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something. So they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? I think that's a pretty easy way of putting this. And in order for him to feel comfortable, sometimes he needs to take off clothing. He's a large man. I mean, he's six foot three. So he's, you know, he's got a lot of girth. And he prefers to take off one of his shirts. There is a shirt that you wear that is exposed to the world. And then there is another shirt which is not exposed to the world. I see. I'm trying to point out the differentiation between the two. You should have a potty gown. The Mikey Show continues.
I'm on the rock. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It's 843. Amy Winehouse is free on bail today after her arrest yesterday for drugs. That former Patriots employee has finally sent the tapes to the league, including a game that the Patriots taped against the Chargers. That's really disappointing. That really disappoints me and Rob. 570-1053 is our phone number, and our text number is 35253. So the topic is, who was that kid in your neighborhood? Maybe it was you, but you know I'm talking about. Marty Hanson. Was it? Oh, yeah. Marty Hanson. Was it really, Eddie? Yeah. What was the deal? A little punk, man. Tic-tacs. He came close to burning their house down several times. He got into a fight, like a physical fight with his teacher. I remember he got expelled. Oh, my gosh. And there's always a problem with that kid. Don't you wonder what Marty's doing now? I'd love to know. He's your age, right? We were the same age, yeah. So he'd be 35. Yeah. I wonder what Marty Hanson's up to. Dude, he was disgusting. He was probably being arrested by Chris Hanson. Nah. Nah, who knows? He was disgusting. He would shove things up his nose. Ew, I hate people who do that. Like he had Tic Tacs. Yeah, there was a kid I remember who...
And now that I think back on it and I think of the behavior, I go, oh, man, that kid just needed somebody to kind of run alongside of him. But red hair. Need a wingman? Yeah. Red hair, crazy hair, which now, see, now that I'm an adult, I think back on it and I go, oh, man, like now I go, that poor kid, man, nobody was taking care of him. Right. At the time, I just thought, look at that crazy-haired redhead. That wasn't Marty Hanson's fault. It wasn't? No, because Mrs. Hanson was pretty cool. She would make a sandwich. Really? Yeah. Oh, sandwiches. I don't know what this guy's home situation is. I was just assuming because his hair was all messed up. Because he had red hair. He had red hair. It was all messed up. Like Carrot Top? It was Carrot Top Red. Seriously. Only not, you know, with less roids. Yeah. Less plastic surgery. Yeah, but he would take the, oh, Sky, this is going to gross you out. Oh, no. He would really do this, and I think it was about, well, it was. It was about attention. What? He would take the mustard packages, and he'd be sitting outside. We had these outdoor benches. He'd take the mustard packages. He'd take, like, three at a time, tear the tops off and just squeeze them into his mouth. Oh, my. Why would a human being do that? That's delicious.
She hates mustard. Anytime anybody's eating it, she goes, you know that I gave you cancer. She just hates this stuff. She's foolish. P1D Shank. Hey, how you doing? You were that kid. Yes, sir. What would you do? Well, if you get a Jolly Rancher, a little Jolly Rancher, and you lick it and put it on the window, after it dries and the person tries to hit it off, it'll shatter the window. No way. No way, Jose. Really? Huh? Oh, man, I hope we're not teaching. I don't want to be teaching bad stuff. Don't do that. Don't do that. Yeah. Definitely. It's very bad. Unless you want to have a good laugh. Okay, Sean. Come on. Hey, guys. Did you get in a lot of trouble, D-Shank? No, sir. You never got caught? No, sir. Now, do you have kids? No, sir. I'm only 19. You're going to avoid this. And you're in the military? Excuse me? Are you in the military?
No. Oh, I heard the sirs and the good manners. Yeah, what do you do? Oh, I'm just polite. Yeah, yeah, where did you get that? Oh, my friends? I think this kid isn't that guy. I don't believe him. I don't know if he's that guy either. I believe him. Well, he says he's getting the politeness from his friends. Why can't you be polite and still go and have some... Well, that's true. You know what? Rob's actually right. Yeah. Because Rob... Is that guy. He's very polite. Well, now he's, you know, he's kind of changed. But when we first met him, he was definitely a punk. He was very polite. He was very polite. You're a hothead, Rob. I don't know why you're being such a hothead. Yeah, chill out, man. Anyway, thank you, D-Shank. Nothing personal. P1 John. Yeah, what's up? What's going on? Nothing discreet. What did you do? Whenever I was 13, my family goes to the desert a lot. We were out at Buttercup one weekend. That's out by Yuma, isn't it? Yeah. Yep. They filmed Return of the Jedi out there. Yeah, they did, Mike. Talk about it. The barge. That's right. But anyways, we camped like right next to the canal. And we were on top of the canal and we were lighting fireworks off. And I grabbed one and I broke the stick off of it. It was like a huge bottle rocket. And I lit it.
And then this kid that was bigger than me was like, if that hits anybody, I'm going to beat you up pretty much. I don't know what to do with it now, so I tried to just throw it in the water. And it landed in the toolies, and it started going off, and I was looking at it. I was like, okay, cool, nothing happened. Wait, wait, wait. It landed in the what? Toolies. It's kind of like bamboo type stuff. It gets really dry. Doesn't sound flammable at all. Very flammable, actually. And? And I didn't know that because I was only, like, 13. And so I turn around and go walk back up, and everyone's like, oh, my gosh. And I look back, and it's all catching on fire. Oh, dude. Brutal. It lit, like, a mile from the eighth three-way all the way to this other bridge that they were building. Oh, my goodness. I was out there for, like, six hours. It's probably 8 o'clock at night until, like, 2 or 3 in the morning. Oh, my gosh. Hey, it started out sounding fun, man. I mean, just out there having a good time. Next thing you know, two leads are going off. That's what always happens. Did you get in trouble? No, I didn't get in trouble. Like, I got talked to by the cops and by the fire department and, like, Cal Fire and all that kind of stuff. If they wanted to charge me, it was going to be, like, $2,900 just for the fire department, basically. Yeah.
Thank you for the call. That's crazy. Want to talk to a girl who said that a neighborhood kid hacked into the government and stole money? Oh, my gosh. That's pretty crazy. What? P1 Athena is on the line. Hi, Athena. Hi, Mikey. How are you doing this morning? Good. So what did this guy do? Well, he was about 12 years old. My neighbor lived right next door to me, was like best friends with my brother. He was a really smart kid. They ended up pulling him out of school. He went to homeschool because he was advancing so fast that when he was 12, he was already in high school. They pulled him out of school because he wasn't getting along with the kids because he was so much younger. And one day, me and my brother walked out to go over to his house and there's like 10 cop cars on our street. And we're like, what's going on? And the cops were like, you can't go over there. Well, later we talked to his mom, and a lot of the houses around us were having problems with their Internet. Well, coming to find out, our friend had hacked into the government, was messing with all of our Internet. They were trying to get it to where they couldn't trace them, or I guess that's what he was trying to do. So he was using, like, the whole block, all of their Internet access or whatever. And he ended up breaking into the government and stole, like...
thousands and thousands of dollars from the government. Dude. They arrested him and they told him, you know, you can't have a computer in this house anymore. They were going to charge him as an adult. And like I said, he was only 12. Oh my gosh. Oh my. And I was like, oh my gosh, because this is one of my friends. And I'm like, what's going on? Like, I was scared for him. Do you know, well, first of all, how old is he now? Now he's probably 20 or 21. She's like, you probably know him now as Barack Obama. Wow. 2021 now? Yeah, he's probably 20 or 21 right now. You don't know what he's up to, though? Not really. All I know is he, they told him when he was younger that he was not allowed to have a computer like ever in his life because they were afraid he was going to do this again. And they told him that if, because they would go and check up on him at his mom's house. They said hire him. Right. And they would randomly go into the house and check for any sort of computer systems. He wasn't allowed to go to the library because there's Internet access there. Pretty much anywhere that had a computer, he was not allowed to go. Otherwise, he was going to go to jail for, like, a really long time. What do you think made him go south? I honestly don't know. He was a really smart kid. Like I said, he was only 12.
He was really good at skateboarding. He was getting ready to go into the X Games and all of this stuff at 12 years old. You're smart. I'll tell you what comes to mind for me. Hackers, that movie? Yes. That was a good one. Discipline. The kid sounds like he's lacking discipline. No way. Dude, me and Eddie were afraid to do stuff like that. Nah. But if you're smarter than everybody, if you're smarter than your parents and you know it. Eddie was. I was. We're smarter than our parents. Did you hack into the government? No, you know why we didn't? You know why we didn't? We probably could have. No, you could not have. No way. Hold on. We had the means to do exactly what that 12-year-old did. No. That 12-year-old had to find out how. No. But, dude, some people are just genius. Yeah, dude, DOS colon C-Drive, bro. Exactly. Here's what I'm saying. The whole interweb. Here's what I'm saying. I see young Mike running up to the White House and tumbling across the grass and sneaking. We're going to hack into the White House. These kids like that that she was just talking about, I'll bet you dollars for donuts that that kid didn't have discipline. You ever heard that one, dollars for donuts? When did we get to eat the donuts? I bet you didn't have no discipline.
When do we eat the dollars? Ashley was very, she says that she was a rebel, but I don't think that she was getting the discipline. Oh, I got massive discipline. What did you get? And in fact, the more I would get punished. No, no, no, no. They would let me on fire and toss me out there. When I was seven years old, I would do things so bad where I would get the belt. I'd get spanked so much that it was funny to me because I didn't even care. And then one time, my dad grounded me to the point where I wasn't allowed to have a sleepover for seven months because he's like all right no sleepovers with your friends didn't care no sleepovers for a month didn't care it got up to seven months when i was like 10 he took away my entire like all of my privileges when i was 10 because i did something i'm not buying that she got the belt so much that it was hysterical pain is pain When I was two years old and my grandma said... John McCain's like, when I was in Vietnam, it got to be hysterical. When I was two years old and my grandma said... They were busting my bones up, but you know what? I was like, ha, ha, ha, Charlie. Don't hurt me. Turn around, I'm going to spank you. I turned around and I said, go ahead, spank me. And then when someone asked me, do you get spanked, Sarah? I was two years old and I went, again and again and again. It was a joke. That was my name when I was a kid.

Not much, man. Just calling to tell about AIS. What happened? I got a DUI in March, and I was paying $130 a month on my four-wheel drive truck, and now I pay $94 a month after the DUI.

I'm not that great anyways. I'm kind of cool. The Mikey Show's on. Come on. Rock 105.3. It's 904. Grand Theft Auto 4 is now the fastest-selling video game of all time after making $500 million in the first week.
Barry Zito became the first Giants pitcher to go 0-7 since 1927. They're losing yesterday. That's not good. That's the opposite of good. That is not cool. Back to the drawing board. But Eddie, why wouldn't he have gone back to the drawing board like, you know? He wasn't that concerned before. 0-6 is like, yeah, I can come back from that. But when you're 0-7, you're like, I probably better consider the drawing board. 0-8. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. And don't forget, tomorrow, Rob and Ashley will be riding a tandem bike down to Starbucks. With matching outfits. With matching outfits. They're pink. Pink magenta helmet, pink gloves, yellow top. You know what I am so looking forward to is because the trip down to Starbucks is a downhill trip. But on the way back, it's all uphill, and they're going to have to, like, work together as a team to muscle it up that hill. It's going to be a catastrophe. Is Jay following them in the golf cart? Yep. Jay's going to follow. Shut up. Jay's following you guys in a golf cart. That is awesome. And he's filming it. Oh, my God.
And you can check all this out because we're going to post on the website, but it's going to be actually happening down Arrow Drive. It's ridiculous. That's going to be fantastic. Sky, do you like this guy's voice? I'm all in on this voice. It's my favorite band ever. I might. You can't talk about that. I know, but I... You need to take some time. I really am in love with this band. You propose to a girl on the first date? No. But when you know it's right. Oh, you know it's right, but you still give it a little time. You've said this before. How can I believe you? I know. You can't just say that a willy-nilly over and over. And then I break up with them? Is that what you're saying? I break up with the band? Yep. Remember, it used to be the exes. I still have a relationship. And then you left acceptance. I still have a relationship. I still have a relationship. Will you guys stay friends? Yeah, we stayed friends. You know, I'm still friends with the exes, and I'm still friends with Acceptance, and, you know, and I definitely will always be friends still with the Deftones and with a band called The Color Red. Love The Color. In fact, Color Red and I stay in contact very obviously. What about your first love? You don't even care about them anymore? You know, Van Halen will always hold a very special place in my life, no doubt about it. There's just no doubt about it. Wow. But I do have a new love.
You can see that. And it's called Starfield. Love the voice. Love the music. Love the lyrics. I'm big time into lyrics. Lyrics in this are just crazy. Crazy good. Crazy good. Crazy good. That's crazy. And I like the way he goes. Well said. So Vanilla Ice. Yeah. What is his name? Do we even know? Rob Van Winkle. That's true. Does it even matter? For real? Question mark? Oh, I thought you were joking. No. Eddie, serious. His name is Rob Van Winkle. I would have changed it to Vanilla Ice. Seriously. Yeah, Rob Van Winkle you know better as Vanilla Ice. He's got a bit of an anger problem. You know, it's really weird because in the 90s, he was trying to make a comeback. And, you know, you could say whatever about the music. The look that he had was kind of cool. He got sleeved.
And I thought that he, in terms of the kind of look, looked pretty relevant. Nobody can get past Vanilla Ice. Ice Ice Baby. But I know Sean has seen this, and I watched it, and Vanilla has been on a few reality TV shows, including The Surreal Life. What's his deal? He is an angry man. Very angry. It's an anger issue. Very much so. Which, you guys know my take, means that in his past, there's probably a lot of hurt, sadness, and fear. And so, now there's, listen, there's too much material here, and I'm not going to play the whole thing. And I certainly don't want to turn it into like, I just don't. I don't want to turn it into a, look at how much of a train wreck Vanilla Ice is. It's a news story, and so it's all out there. So we're going to play it. A portion of it. 9-1-1 call. And it was first reported on by TMZ. This happened last month. He allegedly hit his wife. And she called 9-1-1, right? Cut 14. There was no... Do we know if there's been anything done with him?
Well, basically what happened is his wife went back and recanted her story. And also when he was arrested, I guess he was telling people at the scene that his wife suffers from bipolar disorder and it has been progressively getting worse. So who knows who to believe in this case? You know, they both sounds like they both have issues. But the statement from the state was, quote, the state declines to file criminal charges. There is insufficient credible evidence due to the victim recanting her original statement and lack of an independent witness. So no charges, no nothing. What really blows is that there's kids involved in it. Yeah. You know, that's the terrible part. You don't want that. Let's see. John Stewart. Was talking to John McCain. Ah, McCain. On The Daily Show. And here is a portion of that. Cut 16. Kevin, have they given you one of those titles? I think, what's the president? Trailblazer? I think mine is Jerk. Jerk. Stop it. I did resist for a period of time. Give it to me. McDreamy. Hey. McDreamy?
That's good. How about this? Grumple Stiltskin. Yeah, they say that John McCain... I actually like this about John McCain. They say that the guy is a little bit of a hothead. Listen, what I appreciate about John McCain is he does remind me a little bit of Ronald Reagan in terms of... A bunch of conservatives just freaked out when I said that. Because I know that John McCain leans much more moderately, and some of you conservatives right now are hearing it and going, No, he doesn't. He leans left. Why are they talking like that? Because that's the way that the Republicans get mad about all this stuff. They get hit in the head? Yeah, they go, well, you know.
He's nothing but a liberal in disguise. He's a liberal in sheep's clothes. He's just, take care of your head by wearing your helmet. Take care of your head by wearing your helmet. Here's John McCain talking about the fighting going on between Clinton and Obama, which, by the way, he doesn't have to engage in. He's the nominee. Cut 17. You have time. You're watching the Democrats beat each other over the head. Are you, what are you, are you on a... That's terrible. I hate to watch that. No, it must be very difficult. What did I miss? What? I didn't either. He said his heart goes out to him. My heart goes out to him. Can you smell what the Mac is cooking? All right. Mac. I think we do. What version? That's awful. That's not the regular visual version? No, it really isn't. Isn't that the... I know you're shocked. I thought that was... Don't worry, Sean. I'll erase it. It's Sean TV. And that's the theme song to Sean TV. Yeah, it is. Can I refuse to do it now? Wait a second. What are you talking about? Now, Sean... That's garbage. As you know, Sean... Sean watches TV. Yeah. The whole thing. The whole entire thing. I had a little talk with Sean. All of it. Oh, good. Yeah. I said... Hey, well, explain. Okay, well...
There's two versions of Sean TV. There's the Sean TV where we discover new programs that have been on the air for a while and we just don't know about that are really kind of interesting and weird and different. You know, I like that part of Sean TV. And then there's the Sean TV where it's the old shows that Sean likes like Banachek and Columbo. So what did you say to him? I said, listen, man. Man. Man. Everybody seems to really enjoy the first part of Sean TV. Yeah. And nobody likes the old Sean TV. Right. Sean, that's... I told him that we're not going to do this anymore. Don't do that. And he said okay, and now he's doing Banachek theme. He always plays Banachek theme. I don't want you to do Banachek. We're not doing that. We're over Banachek. We're over it. We're over it. No, we don't want you to do Perry Mason. No, no, we're over that too. Sean, you agreed to do the right thing. What's left? The point of Sean TV, you introduce us to new shows. Well, you know, Mike, I actually did listen to Eddie this week. And I made a conscious effort to not feature a show that wasn't actively producing, you know, episodes. Thank you. So, for this week. That's Star Wars, you goofball. Star Trek. Star Trek. Thank you.
That's right, Mike. You better catch on fire right now. Why should I catch on fire? Not you, her. Well, he should, too. He's playing Star Trek. They don't make Star Trek anymore. Oh, I loved that show growing up. As you know, Mike. Why are you playing Star Trek? Star Trek is actively producing new episodes. Well, this don't sound like it. remastered and re-released episodes of the original series with the CGI enhanced versions. How dare you? Unnecessary. Yeah. TV 13 Sundays at 6 o'clock. Or you can download the new episodes, the new episodes on iTunes, Mike. They're not new. They're new. Whoa! Footage and everything. Did I tell you what Space Boy gave me? What? He somehow found the episode of Star Trek that made Sean cry. Wait, there's an episode of Star Trek that made Sean cry? Yeah. I haven't watched it yet. I really want to watch it because I, now, Sean, you're 100% serious about that, right? I'm totally serious. You can watch it tomorrow when he comes into town. Dude, I want to watch it. I want to watch it and I just want to be like, so really? Like, okay, okay. As I'm watching it. Sean,
Would it get you again? Was this as an adult or was this as a child? Or a woman. Oh, you suck. Is this when you were still a female? No, I was just joking around, man, with that one. No, I was uncalled for. Listen, now, I want to know, were you an adult when you saw this sucker? Yes, I was an adult. I was over 18. 20s or 30s? 20s. 40s. You were in your 20s. But I've seen it many times. What's that episode about? It's where the captain gets scanned by a probe and what happens is he's... Hello. And he's pulled into this holographic representation of a... Society that has gone supernova. Their son went supernova. And they're long since gone. And he lives like a whole lifetime with these people in just a matter of minutes. And when he comes out of it, he's had an entire lifetime with these people. He's had children, grandchildren. And when he wakes up, obviously, they're all gone. That whole life is gone. It's very sad. And he probably gets really upset. He's very upset. Is this when they dress like gangsters?
No, it's not. That one's called a piece of the action. No, that's not it. You knew that. Is this when they have all those muffin things running around? Is that the Smurfs? What are you talking about? The Trouble with Tribbles? No, it wasn't that one. Okay, how do you know the names of them? The Trouble with Tribbles. This is the one when Spock and Kirk fight. It was not the gamesters of Triskelion either. How does he know that? I love Trek. What do you want? No, how does Eddie know? Well, I've seen a few episodes. My dad was a big Trekkie. And so I watched a lot of those. Most people have seen quite a few episodes. Including the episode, Mike, that we have today. Wait, you said you wouldn't do this, Sean. This one is where Captain Kirk is wrongfully accused of negligence in the death of a fellow crew member by a Star Trek fleet admiral. Mike, it was an awful thing. As far as you go, sir.
I'm telling you I was there. On the bridge. I know what happened. I know what I did. It's in the transcript. And computer transcripts don't lie. So that's the way we do it now. Sweep it under the rug and me along with it. And in your life. I intend to fight. Then you draw a general court. Draw it. I demand it. And right now, Commodore Stone. It's terrible, right now. Look at him. Sky, wake up. Well, Mike. This guy takes a nap during Sean TV. Look at her. She's so checked out. She's surfing the internet. That Captain Kirk started to crack under the pressure. We've got to risk implosion. It's our only chance. It's never been done. Don't tell me that the inside is awesome. It's a theory. It's possible. It may go up into the biggest ball of fire since the last time he's exploded. Sky has been looking at TMZ for the last five minutes. Yeah. Reach to Captain. Engineer asked, did you find... Yes, I've talked to Mrs. Falcon. Yes, sir. That's a funny comedy. That's a funny comedy. You've got to watch Sean in the camera when he plays the clip's back.
You can catch the brand new remastered episodes of Star Trek on my TV 13, Sunday nights at 6 o'clock, Mike, or on iTunes. You can download them. I'll see you there. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train to all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Potsy Weber delivered it. Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you.
With another Mikey moment. Anyway, I can't plug my car in. You can't plug your car in. Well, we can't plug our cars in. Right now? There's natural gas cars. Really? Right now? What, Sean? How do we do it? Ridiculous. The thing is, I've got to develop alternative fuel sources and alternative technology to get us off fossil fuel and onto renewable fuel. Oh, let's dance in happy fairyland, too. So what, we should just roll over? Why don't we run our car for Rob's broken hopes and dreams and we can go forever. 105.3. The Mikey Show. It's 9.30. A group of San Diego State students protested yesterday against the drug sting arrests. Padres are not doing good right now. They lost again to Atlanta 5-2 last night. I'm struck with my affliction. Our text number is 35253.
And our phone number is 570-1053. Now, this is a story that we reported on last year. And it was a really sad story. It was about the death of Kelsey Lynn Phelps. And what happened was Kelsey was given methadone to take for a headache. And she passed away. It was given to her by a friend's mother. Kelsey's mother is on the phone right now. Her name is Tracy. Tracy, welcome to the show. Good morning. I understand that you had a bit of a setback in this case yesterday. Yes, we went to court yesterday and Laura Wyan was going to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and felony child abuse with corporal injury causing death. And she...
backed out basically and chose not to plead tomorrow or yesterday um i go back to court tomorrow and we will find out whether or not she's going to accept the plea or it's going to go on to trial now yeah because uh the last communication that i had received said that she had decided that she was going to plead guilty right but she's changed her mind yes i what's happening is The case is a case that can be sentenced anywhere from probation to prison. And basically, I believe that they thought that, you know, there's a good chance that she could get probation. But after yesterday, it was made, brought to her attention that this is more than likely definitely a prison case. And I think that they are thinking twice about it or they just want some more time to.
You know, I really don't know. For people that don't know the story, can you fill people in on a little bit of the history and what happened? Yeah, actually, Kelsey had what was called spinal stenosis in her back, which caused her a lot of pain. And the day that she went to her, to Laura Wyand's house, Kelsey's tonsils were swollen, and she was complaining of back pain. And so Laura Wine took it upon herself to give Kelsey penicillin for her throat and methadone for the pain in her back. How old was Kelsey? 17. What was the reaction to it? Was it immediate or what happened? Well, I picked Kelsey up at her boyfriend's house the night that she passed away. She was walking and talking and everything, you know, seemed fine. And we drove home and we got out of the car. She grabbed her backpack. We walked into the house and she said, I'm tired, Mama. I'm going to go to sleep. And I said, okay, good night. And, you know, I went and checked back on her like a half hour later. And she was okay. And then when I went to wake up in the morning, she just basically went to sleep and didn't wake up. What was the amount? What was she given?
The medical examiner could not give a specific amount of how many she had taken. However, there was a bottle of 18-plus tablets found in her backpack. So we don't know how many this woman gave her. What is the woman saying about it? What is she saying about it? Well, she's never... said anything to me she never called me she never um you know I wasn't friends with her but I'd spoken to her the first time Kelsey went over to her house you know was going to hang out with her daughter um I like always I went over there and met the mom and the parents and saw where she was going to be and all that and so I'd spoken to her a few times you know here and there um but she I you know what Mikey I just it's what's frustrating is that You know, somebody is allowed to plead innocent for so long and then they can come to a plea agreement a year later and say, OK, I'm guilty. You know, I'm going to plead guilty to this when the entire year they've known that they were guilty. You know what I mean? And then to say, OK, I'm going to plead guilty and then go to court and find out, well, guess what? You might be going to prison and then say, OK, no, I'm not going to plead guilty now. It makes no sense to me.
So you've been going through this nightmare for about a year. Yes, for a year. And how long do you think that it's going to be until this is resolved? Well, we're supposed to find out sometime by the evening whether they're going to accept the plea. And we are back in court again tomorrow morning. And if she doesn't and they decide to take it to trial, then what happens is she goes to trial for... furnishing narcotics to a minor, involuntary manslaughter, and the felony child abuse. Then she's going to be charged, you know, and tried on all charges. And the trial would be starting maybe the end of May, beginning of June. And then they're talking about the trial maybe lasting anywhere from two weeks to a month. And from the time that you lost Kelsey until now, you've never spoke to this woman. No, I have not. I've seen her in court. Is her take that she, does she even admit that she gave the medication to your daughter or is she saying something different? No, she did admit that. Isn't that guilt then? I mean, I don't understand. Like, what are we, what is there still a debate about? You know, I guess the easiest way to say it is it's the system. I was a deputy for 10 years and I worked on that side.
Now that I'm on the other side and I am having to go through the legal system process, a lot of it is good, but a lot of it I'm finding very, very confusing and frustrating. We're talking to Tracy Lynn Phelps. No, actually I go by Moe. You go by Moe? Yes, I went back to my maiden name. So is it Tracy Lynn Moe? Yes, it is. All right, Tracy Lynn Moe. And do you remember your daughter as Kelsey Lynn Phelps? Yes. She lost her daughter Kelsey last year. Her daughter was 17 years old and was given methadone and a antibiotic by a friend's mother and it killed her. The reason that I wanted to have you on the air is because I thought to myself, why do things like this happen? A lot of times people will say,
Man, why would God let something like this happen? And the bottom line with things like this is, I lost a phone call. I'm going to explain this. First of all, I don't want for Kelsey's death to have been in vain. And I want people to know, don't do this. So dangerous. I'm hoping that maybe there's somebody listening right now. And they hear this. And maybe if they hadn't heard this, they would have given something to somebody and they wouldn't have known. So it's a good idea to get the message out there that you can't do it because it could end up hurting somebody, especially a kid like this. We got her back? Are you there, Tracy? Yes, I am. Sorry about that. That's okay. But what I was going to say is that a lot of times people in this situation, and before we hang up,
I want to make sure that I put you on hold. And if I can, Tracy, if you'll allow it, I'd love to get your email and email you if that's okay. Yes, that's fine. That'd be great. Yes. But what I was going to say is that a lot of times situations like this, people go, man, how could God let something like this happen to this poor kid? You know, she's just an innocent kid. She's only 17 years old. And I kind of, I want to share this analogy that I thought up about this. Just put it out there. And I don't know if you just heard what I was saying, Tracy, but I don't want for Kelsey's death to have been in vain. And I want to be able to get the message out there that you can't do what this woman did. And maybe somebody is going to hear it and it will prevent that. Right. But anyway, what I was going to get at with that is that you have to understand that a lot of times bad stuff is going to happen in our lives. And I came up with this analogy. And the analogy is like this. Let's say that I got my house and I got my family in my house. Let's say I got my daughter, got a couple daughters, and I'm the man of the house. And every night I lock up the house before I go to bed. And I turn the alarm on in the house. And I go through all these efforts to keep the house safe. Right. And in the middle of the night, somebody is able to break in. And before I'm able to do anything about it, they say, harm my daughter.
Now, a lot of people would say, and even maybe in the analogy, the daughter says, you know, how did this happen? How did you, dad, how did you let this happen to me? And in the analogy, God is the dad and he didn't want that to happen to you. But the deal is, is that we have free will. We have free will. And unfortunately, the woman that gave your daughter that medication, she had free will. And it was the wrong, it was the wrong. And it ended up hurting Kelsey. And that is terrible. But I want you to know that your father, God, cares about you and cares about her and didn't want that to happen. And eventually, like with everybody, we have to go to dad and we got to pay the price for somebody that hurt our kid. I just want you to know that Kelsey's death wasn't in vain. We're getting the message out there. We want people to know what happened with Kelsey and hope that it doesn't happen again. I'm so sorry for what you've gone through. And I'm just going to be praying really good thoughts and hoping that you get through this real tough season that you're going through. And I just hope the best for you. And I want what would be the best possible outcome for you, Tracy?
You know what, Mikey? You're absolutely right. In everything you said, when this happened, there's no greater job on earth than to be a parent, to be a mother. And when Kelsey went home, I thought, okay, God's got to have a huge, huge job for me here on earth now. And I have to find what it is. And I believe it's exactly what you... spoke about in this being such an education to people that, you know, if you give your prescription medication out to your buddy or your sister or your whoever, that they can die. And if they do, what I want is I want a precedent and a long prison sentence set so that people see that if you do this, you're going to go to prison for a long time. I don't want any more or any less. lower wine than what the law states, because she's going to be held accountable to God, but she needs to be held accountable while she's here on earth. Also the laws that she broke here. And so that's what I want. I want her to go to prison for, for the maximum amount of time is what I would like to see. Well, um, you know, um, I just want, uh, people that, uh, that are listening that,
Do pray to pray for Tracy because it's terrible what she's had to go through already. And also about her cause. And maybe it is. That's exactly what it is. It's something that she wants to get out there and kind of educate people about. And I think that's fantastic, you know, because you're turning something that was negative into a positive. And I think that's really great. Can you hang on? Yes, I will. Okay, hang on. And I'm going to have Rob get your email address for me, okay? Okay, thank you. Yeah, hang on just a second. Well, I really hope that goes. I really hope that that turns into, you know, what she's looking for. It's terrible what she had to go through. And, you know, it's just a tough thing, you know. Yeah, she's a really sweet lady. I've been talking to her for a few days now. Her daughter was beyond gorgeous and in such a sad, sad situation. And, you know, I just hope that she's able to get through this, you know. You okay? And that it turns out to be a positive, you know, that something positive comes from it. And that can be just exactly what she said, that people hear that message and get that message. We'll be back. We appreciate it. Thank you very much. What are you getting? Get some chips. Sean said that he had to take his wife in for, you know, the dizziness stuff that she had. And he said that in walked Dr. Steve Brule. Brule. I keep calling him Brule. Like Robert Brule. Like Creme. Like Creme Brule. Dr. Steve Brule. He said it was like the albino version of Dr. Steve Brule. That was so crazy. That's awesome. Did he call your wife a turkey? No, he doesn't sound like him. Why are you so dizzy, you turkey? Quit doing cartwheels, you turkey. To your health. No way, Jose. If anybody out there is experiencing any kind of dizziness, stop turning around in circles, you turkey. And Sean also watches America's Next Top Model. Well, he watches everything. He watches TV. So what was the deal, Shawnee? Well, Tyra does this thing where at the elimination ceremony, she'll say, and the next person whose name I'm going to call is Sandra. And it's like, okay, wait, let me get this right. The next person whose name you're going to call is Sandra. So now I need to wait for you to call her name. Right? Yes. Right? Well, why else would she be saying?
The next person I'm going to say. Why would she say it like that? It upsets you. Well, it should be. And the next person to make it through is Lexis. Right. Not the next person whose name I'm going to call is. Is this an issue? Yeah, he does not like it, Eddie. Well, it's a teller. Like, has nobody on the show listened to her and gone. Well, isn't she the executive producer? Whether she is or is not is wrong. I'm just saying she's the boss. If she prefers to use it. I think America can figure it out. I'm sure they can, but it's wrong. Oh, wow. Wow. According to who? Miriam Webster. I don't know. Oh, wow. I dated her once. Don't know her. Ladies and gentlemen, Ashley had sea bass last night, but it was prepared.
At a restaurant. Thank God. She did not make it. Seabass at a restaurant? Yeah, she went. Dodged a bullet on that one. Is it Chilean? What? What do you mean you dodged a bullet, Shawnee? Were you getting to something weird? I mean. No, I just mean, you know. You know. He's really upset about the fact that Tyra says, I'm going to say. Oh, Mike, it's not right. Get over it. He's really upset about it. I get it. He's real upset. How about this? Don't watch that show. It's awful. I can't do that. I can't promise that. Okay. It really upsets him. My wife probably feels the same way. Does she watch that show? Yeah. Wow. I think all girls watch it. Yep. Sky doesn't. She's my friend. Best show ever. I've seen every cycle like ten times. Cycles? I don't like that they call it that.
What's going on here? I'm happy of menstruating. What is going on? She's been taking her headphones off because she doesn't want to hear. I haven't seen the episode yet. Oh, is that what's going on? And I don't know what happened and I don't want him to ruin it for me. So I keep IMing her when she can listen and when she can't. Oh, okay. Wait, what? I haven't seen the episode yet. She doesn't want to know. And I don't want you to ruin it for me. They're getting down to me. He's not saying who was in her. Well, there was no preface. I didn't want to risk it, so I just took the headphones off because I haven't seen it yet. So you didn't know that Tammy got kicked off. Okay, Sean. She looks like she's... He better be joking. She's so mad. She is so upset right now. He better be joking. He wasn't. He had an ovation. Wow. No, no, no, no. Sean. You know he's just joking. I don't know that he was. She's got this look on her face right now where she's like... I don't remember that, Sean. Is this real? Like, is this... Remember that, Sean. That's all I need to say. Sean, you are getting a sweaty fit hug when you get into douse. You deserve it. Prepare to be doused. I'll protect you. I will spray you with mace. Doesn't affect her. She's a man to it. You were kidding, right? Yeah. That's messed up.
To your health. Wow. Ash, did you have sea bass last night? Oh, she's beside herself. She can't even concentrate now. That's the most inconsiderate. Here we go. Like, what is that? That's right. That's right, Sean. Bad karma, Sean. Bad karma. I have no idea. Sean. What are you going to do? What did I even do to you? Ash. Come on, help me get you back. Yes, it was delicious. I ate it last night. What's a Chilean? Chilean? What was the texture like? No, it wasn't even that cold. Oh, Rob, if you even start right now. I can't. How would you describe it? I mean, was it flaky? I agree. She's been stabbed in the back by a friend. Oh, wow.
That's true. He has no heart. It's a little harsh. What was her name, the guy kicked off? Stop. She just ripped her headphones off. She just ripped her headphones off. I don't watch the show. I don't know any of this. I think he said Jenny or no. He said Tanya. I think he said Tammy. Tammy, he said Tammy. Oh, she just ripped her headphones off. She's upset. You can tell by her face. You can tell by her face. Look at her face. Look at her face. No way, Jose. Tear. The Olympic torch has reached the top of Mount Everest. Who did that? Now what? Now where do you go from? There's no oxygen up there. How is the flame? That's a torch and that's a mountain. Where do you go from there? Where do you go from here? Now what? It's like the best thing you could do. You're done. You can't outdo that. You're done. Who cares? Take it to the moon. Yeah, great.
Bottom of the ocean, we're good. Bottom of the ocean. Look at me. Magma, great. It's a specially designed Olympic torch. You need to give it to the Cyclops? Yeah. Great. Real good. Here, here, here, clouds. Yeah, great. They brought up there for like a photo op with the Chinese flag and the Olympic flag and the torch and everything. So great. And now the normal, the standard Olympic torch is making its way around China right now. That was an actual audio clip of them running the torch. She won't even take part in it. She always does it alone. Sean can bite himself. No, wait a second. That's harsh. Bite your arm. It's strange. Bite it. It's harsh. Don't understand it, but it's still harsh. Maybe later. President Bush is headed to Texas because his daughter, Jenna Bush, is getting married this weekend. Left this morning.
Play that funky music, white boy. Why are you singing that? Why are you singing that? Get that funky music. It's so strange. He's sitting there in his business suit. I know, right? It's just so weird when he's singing that. It's called my Prezi uniform, Maggie. Your Prezi uniform? I'm singing because we're going to play some cool jams at the wedding. You hire a band? Yeah, KC and the Sunshine. You actually got KC. You actually got KC and the Sunshine. You thought I was joking? Well, I thought you got a cover band like the rest of us. No, I'm the Prez. That's right. Didn't think of that. Only the best for my lady. For your daughter, you mean? Yeah. So you got KC and the Sunshine, man. They're going to play. Yeah. And I understand that you guys are getting married out there. She's going to get married on your actual ranch. The ranch. That's pretty cool. Outdoors. Living on a ranch. Living on a ranch. Isn't it going to be hot out there? Well, Saturday night.
Yeah, it's a nighttime wedding. Nighttime wedding. Look out for the cow pies. Uh-oh. Well, you'd think you would have cleaned those up. I'm busy. You would think you would. I'm the president. Well, you'd have somebody do that before all these guests arrive. Like who? Laura? No. Oh, never mind. That's men's work. Never mind. Well, President Bush, you must be very proud of your daughter. She's beautiful. You know, Jenna is now an adult. Yes. Yeah, she's married. It's kind of a tool. You don't want to say that. I want to make him vice president. And then he will succeed me when I leave office. That's not how it works. That's how America works. Definitely not the way it works. I'm out. You're in. Congratulations. That's not the way it works, President Bush. And then I will run things from behind the scenes. That's my game plan. Oh, you are sneaky, President. Well, good luck with that. Because I am the bomb. You are the bomb.
Okay, that's weird because Eddie says that. Eddie's weird. Eddie's pressing a push. Play that funky music. Play that funky music. All right. Yes. Did you guys hear about the high-speed chase in the South Bay yesterday? Uh-huh. Oh, yeah. I guess John didn't hear. At one point, the dude was driving the wrong way on the 5. You saw it, Rob? Yeah, I saw it on the news last night. Oh, okay. I thought you were right there. No, no, no. Yeah, he was hitchhiking on the side of the 5. I was like, hey, dude, pull over. Driving too fast. What, Eddie? Ashley drives the wrong way all the time. Oh, so you read my blog. I did read it the other day and I saw that. What are you talking about, Eddie? What happened? What did she do? What happened? Shut up. What did you do, Ash? You know, downtown, everything's one way. Yeah. Well, she was driving a long way. No. On what street? Down by like Little Italy. Oh. Ash. That's dangerous. Dude, it was brutal. What happened?
I'm, like, not even paying attention. I find that very hard to believe. I find that very hard to believe. Shut up. Very rare. And so I'm driving, and I'm like, da-na-na-na-na. And I... Were you actually doing that, though? Were you actually driving going, da-na-na-na? Oh, no, but I was just listening to that because, like, I had music in the background. Right. So that was my music. But I was probably listening to, like, hip-hop. I love that song. No, no, no. Shut up, Sean. You're not in this. Anyway. This was the song that was on. She just sang it. I know that this was what she was singing. The remix. Yeah, the remix to this. making sounds, implying that there was music in the background. And so there's a two-lane road. Sean, shut up. There's a two-lane road. And so I go and I see a little what I thought is a right-turn lane. And so I pull and got the signal on. And I'm like about to start to turn right. I'm like, and I'm clear because I don't see any cars in the left. That's weird. Right? Turn right. It's all clear over there. They're pretty, right? Like, man, there are no cars around here. And I'm, like, in mid-turn, and I just see, like, a swarm of cars coming straight for me. Oh, man. And I go, ah! And so I just, I reverse and pull back. Give him a chicken you want, eh? Oh, wow. And then I pull back in time, and then I literally reverse, like, probably 20 feet, 25 feet to get in the right lane. And as I'm reversing obnoxiously for, like, five minutes, one guy in his truck directly to the left of me was like,
You might not want to do that, little lady. And I'm like, thanks for the advice. Like, I was about to die, but thanks for the heads up. What were you doing down there in that little Italy? Um, there's this... It's that Little Italy restaurant. Ah, yes. Little Italy restaurant. I don't know. Mona Lisa's. Mona Lisa's. Mona Lisa's smiles. I'm shopping around in there. Fantastic movie. Guys, I'm like a cook now. You don't even know. Haven't you heard? I cook freaking all the time for my boyfriend. So that's where you went? You went down there to buy some stuff? I was just checking it out. I heard that it's really delicious and you can get, like, really authentic Italian stuff there. So I'm, like, really wanting to make my boyfriend, like, an authentic Italian meal. Oh, my gosh. Since it came up. Said my boyfriend. Mark. Because he's the best. And I bought him some new stuff called DiGiorno. No. One day. Cook for us. No, I'm not going to eat that. I totally will. I totally will. What do you guys want?
I want to live. Get me an apron. I care about my life. I'm good. Bye. Well, you always cook fish. I don't eat fish. I don't have to cook fish. Oh, okay. Yeah, you'll try. I can cook them. Oh, then you'll try. Anything else. Skies in. As long as she's not cooking with things I don't like, then I'm fine. Like no tomatoes, no mustard. I would never. None of this stuff. Well, there goes that tomato mustard fish dish she was going to make. So good. Yeah. So. These SDSU students were protesting the drug sting. Why? Because they want to protest. No, Mike. This is their cause. It's a group. They're just kidding us, guy. You know that. No, it's a group called Students for Sensible Drug Policy. They don't really believe that, though. Students against the law. Yeah, they just want a reason to, say, meet his murder.
So they were protesting and did a little mock graduation ceremony for the 75 students who were arrested. See, I'm right. They're not serious. They're just wanting to be like jackholes. They say this drug sting is a waste of taxpayer money and the money would be better spent on. It would be better. They'd be better spent on prevention and drug treatment programs. This is Randy Henkin from Students for Sensible Drug Policy saying that the DEA has smeared the school's name. Cut 43. Inviting the DEA onto our campus to smear our name and make us look like we're a big drug-dealing campus, which I'm sure we're not any different from any other campus around America. I agree with that. So I'm going to protest, and if I protest, what will happen is we'll go back in time, and this won't happen. They will unsmear the school's name. And what it will also do by us being out here and protesting is it will make sure that the DEA never performs another drug bust. That's not what they're saying. And keep us in the class.
And what? Keep us out of class. Keep us out of class. Okay. You don't know they had a class right then. So we'll be mad at the DEA and not the people that were breaking the law. Right. Right. Because that money could have been better spent. Like not getting criminals? You know what? I'll tell you. And let me explain to these kids. I want to explain, though, to the kids how this works because they're right. Yeah. This is how it works. Here we go. Sarcasm 101. I think this is more like an advanced sarcasm class. Oh, right. The advanced class. I believe this is more of a master's level sarcasm we're about to go into. Let me take a little lesson. Please, Professor Mikey. The DEA, you know, they are getting together in an office, and what they have on this big board is their budget.
And they're like, geez, how should we break this money down, guys? Let's see. Should we do a drug bust or should we put it in all this other area called other stuff? That's what those kids are talking about? Other stuff? And they're like, I don't know. Let's put it in a drug bust. I don't know, though. That other stuff those kids are talking about looks pretty good. Nah. Nah. God. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. Like they have a decision to make, you know, like the DEA has a decision to make. They're like, yeah, we're doing the opposite. Kids, they are putting it in other stuff. This is part of the other stuff. It's all stuff they do to try to prevent drug abuse. The DEA has a choice to whether or not.
follow the law or not? Yeah, right. Like, huh? Yeah, why are you putting your resources into, you know, upholding the law? Yeah, into getting criminals off the street. How dare you, DEA? Yeah, put it into something else. Stop putting it in to arresting drug dealers! You jerks. It's like a girl overdoses on drugs and you're going to do something about it? How dare you? That's terrible. How dare you? There are other things you can be doing. You're wasting our money! Which implies... This is the stupid part of it. It implies that they don't care about the other stuff. This is all part of the stuff, kids. Getting drugs off the streets is drug prevention. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. Oh. Here's a montage of students reacting to the bus. Huh? Oh. Huh? What? I didn't say anything. I know where you're going. Sky wanted to be out there protesting it. Sky wanted to protest the drug bust. No more busts. No more busts. No more busts. But sir, I don't have it. I don't think you need to see what's in my pocket. Well, let me check your pockets. Ow, I just stabbed myself on something in her pocket. Great. Great. Anyway.
Montage of students, cut 44. I am agitated. I just came from class. And I caught on to part of the speech. And ladies started talking about, like, learning the amount of consumption of drugs that we can take. And I think that she was really wrong on that. What's the difference? Oh, my gosh. What's the difference between people that have money and don't have money? What's the people, you know, that's students and non-students? The law's the same for equal. Is the law the same for everyone? I had no idea that there was this much going on at our school. I think I was really, I mean, I was shocked that it was such a big, like, drug ring going on. And then I was all. And then I was all. And then I was all. And then I was all. And then I was all. And then she was all. And I was like, oh my God. I don't even know. And I was all. I don't even know. And then I was all. Kids my age are stupid Ladies and gentlemen I will now read Ashley's statement from yesterday Oh thank you Eddie you told me yesterday you thought it was beautiful Ashley went to SDSU
All those words sound like me. When the drug bust happened yesterday, Ashley made a statement on the air and we have the transcript. Ashley's statement reads as follows. Oh my gosh. Yeah, that was crazy. My friend is actually in a sorority and she was like telling me that it's pretty nuts. I think that it's great that they did it. But I think it's something that they would, if they did an in-depth investigation on at pretty much any college, I'm sure this would happen because I don't think that it's just an SDSU thing or a frat or sorority thing that, you know, people do drugs in college. End quote. That was very well said. And as I said yesterday, I think Ashley just said what we were all thinking. Thank you. Very well put. Oh, yeah. Kids out there. You kids. Pull your pants up. Let's see. Jason Castro got eliminated. Eddie, you watched American Idol, right? Of course. Did Maroon 5 sound good performing? Oh, no. What is that? You know, listening to Maroon 5 live is a difficult thing. Like that falsetto voice that...
adam levine sings in when it's processed and everything it's okay you know it's all right but when he sings it live it's it's a little off-putting i guess like i think he's like actually done some damage to his voice because i remember like back in the day when they had their very first single no one was playing him a station up in the bay was playing him that we worked at and so they came in and you know he sounded great and then the couple times after that he was always using that spray like i don't know what singers use that's in that spray but it like I've heard a variety of things of what that actually is. Steroids? But it numbs your throat. Chloroceptic? No, not chloroceptic. What is that? There's something. I don't get it. She's hinting something and I don't know what it is. I've heard it's a liquid form of an illegal substance that they use and it numbs their throat. Can you get that? Are you talking about... How would you get that? No way. I don't know. I drink it all the time. Coca-Cola, it's great. But anyways. Don't drink that in my car, dude. It's a BMW. Don't drink it in the car. That's your problem.
Dude, if you're going to... Dude, I'm thirsty. I know you're thirsty, bro, but first of all... I just got Whataburger. I'm thirsty. Okay, dude. I told you last time. First of all, you don't need 64 ounces like that. It's ridiculous. Looks like you got a jug. Dude, it's ridiculous. Stop drinking that in your car. Dude, you just spilled it in my car. No, I didn't. Oh, no. That's bad. I asked you not to spill it in my BMW. Dude, it's just your floorboard. Who cares? Hey, you know what, dude? That's a man's floorboard. You don't want to spill on a man's floorboard, all right? What does that mean? That means I'm going to take a beautiful filly like... Ashley out on a date, and I don't want her to see a bunch of stickies. Dude, you can't handle Ashley, all right? That's my girl, dude. Listen, dude. She gets a little taste of the kid. Let me tell you something, man. You and your husky pencil, dude. Let me tell you something, dude. Let me tell you, all right? I went to the University of Texas, okay? I'm an educated man. I didn't even go to junior college, all right? Yeah, I know that. I'm a loser. I get it. Is that what you want? Yeah.
Kid, don't talk about yourself. You know, you sit here, dude. First of all, you talk about your beamer. You talk about my friend, all right? You talk about, oh, I'm a UT grad grade. You go, hook him, all right? Who do you want? That's right. That's great. What? Yeah, dude. That's right. Hook him. Kid struggles, all right? That's right. Kid struggles, but you know why? Kid struggles. Because a kid's spilling Coca-Cola all over a man's cup. Stop drinking that, dude. What'd I tell you? Thirsty. What'd I tell you? So anyway, I don't know what was in that little spray bottle, but his voice is definitely, you know, it's not what it used to be. Maroon 5 performing If I Never See Your Face Again. Cut 8. With If I Never See Your Face Again, please welcome Maroon 5. Sounds good so far. I don't know. And it makes you burn to love, you're not the only one. And I let you be, you put down your gun. Now you've gone, so I will find what you want.
You see that, dude? That's exactly what you need to do to get the ladies, all right? That's the first thing, dude. You got to understand what women like, all right? You don't have to tell me how to get the ladies, dude. Kid does all right. Kid does great, dude. And think of how much better the kid could do if he got a little class, all right? Like what, Maroon 5, dude? Yeah, that's right, dude. Yeah, actually, Maroon 5's in my CD player right now, my BMW. I know you drive a BMW. It's an M3, dude, all right? I'm in it, dude. I know what you drive. All right, I got a beater. Show some respect, dude. I'm a loser. Yeah, dude, don't talk about yourself like that, all right? Is that what you want? You proved your point. Here's your boy, all right? Thank you. 570-1053. Mikey. Real people, real conversation. I said to him, I go, when are you guys going to come out here and visit? He's like, yeah, dude, you know what? As soon as I get a promotion, maybe I can come out. Oh, no. Hit the lottery, Mike. Yeah. Okay. I'm not made of money, dude. As soon as I turn into Donald Trump, all right, bro? I'll come out there to California. Yeah. All right? Great. And Charles Bauman, he can do it. He can afford it. Right? This is gorgeous, dude. Look at this. We're in beautiful San Diego, dude.
Are you looking at this, Berman? You see this? This is a land of milk and honey, all right? Milk and honey. Beautiful, isn't it? Dude, Sin City. This is great, dude. Hey, you clown. This isn't Sin City. Las Vegas, bro. It's Las Vegas. What's the matter with you? Yeah, great. Mikey Show. Rob. It's Mikey. Mikey, what's going on, man? What's up, dude? Hey, uh, tired of hearing you talk about the Sin 3, man. Is this Johnny? No, it's not Johnny, man. It's P1 Hue. I want you to bring it down to Qualcomm, man. I got an 89 Fastback Mustang. Says it'll whip its ass. Sweet. Great, dude. That sounds sweet. I love cars, brother. You got a better car than me, too. Okay, great. I love cars, dude. I'd love to see your car, man. Man, hey, listen. I live right up the street from you off of Ruffin. Oh, dude. No, the work. Work. Ruffin, right. Right up to work. Right on, brother. He's like, my social security number is just one off of yours. Yeah, exactly. You get your check before all of us. There you go. There you go. Well, yeah, dude, bring your card down there. We'll slap a sticker on it, and I want to see it. All right, brother. All right, man. Bye. There's these new Camaros out. I know. I said Camaro. I drove a Camaro. I'm telling you, bro. You did, Eddie. But you had a mullet. Yeah. It fit. Okay. That's right.
Had a cassette player in it. Yeah, dude, it was real good. It was real sweet. T-tops, the whole thing. It was real nice. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey. What's up? Hey, man, P1 Odin here. What's going on? Hey, man, is Beto around? Yeah, dude, I'm always here. No, Beto, no. What's up? What's up, dude? Hey, Beto, I'm going to be in the college area later on. Oh, really? You're going to go down there and get the college girls? Well, guess what, dude? There's nothing left. Because I already know them all. And I've already got them all. Calm down, Beto. I don't even know what you're saying, dude. He's only 14. How many times do I have to tell you? I don't speak Spanish, dude. You don't speak SDSU either, huh? Yeah, dude, why don't you speak some English, dude? Oh, he is. I think he's using drugs. Hey, we don't speak English in San Diego, huh? That you supposedly know all about. Yeah, remember, you're big in the drug scene, so you should know what he's saying. I know what he's saying, dude. No, you don't. No, you didn't. You thought it was Spanish. Oh, really? Look at him now. Oh, really? You want to get a heart on me?
Don't try to be talking all that smack. Come up to my face and say it. You're not going to fight me. You're 95 pounds, Beto. I'm 98, dude. That's still not impressive. Hey, you've been hanging out with B-Rock too long, you hothead. Oh, really, dude? You think I'm a hothead? Calm down. Why don't you go sound in my face? Calm down. And Beto, go. Yeah, I walked up. Hey, dude, I saw you yesterday over at Roberto's. You don't want to tell everybody, dude. I walked up to him and I was all, hey, what's up, dude? And he was all. This guy on the phone. Yeah, dude, this guy on the phone right now. And he was all, he won't tell you because he's embarrassed. He was all, oh, Beto, don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. Because, dude. And I was all, and I'm all, you're my woman now. And he's all, what? Okay, what do you want me to do? And I go, I go, I want you to shine my shoes, lady. And he was all, okay, shine, shine, shine. I don't believe this. I don't think that happened. Why don't you tell him, dude? Whatever, dude. Give me a text later. I'll be by SDSU over by Ebner Hall. Whatever, dude. Trying to pretend you're not my lady anymore. Yeah. He was all, he was all, oh, please get my girl in a bra. Wow.
All right, Beto. That's enough. Beto tries to talk like he's real tough, but he's not, and he's just lost. He needs discipline. He does. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey, I got a quick question for you. What's up? The Starfield song you were playing earlier when you guys came back from that break, what was the name of that song? Over My Head. Over My Head. Awesome group. Yeah. Thank you, man. Have a great week. Thank you. Mikey Show. Oh! Saturday, 10 to 1, Qualcomm. Talk about it. Saturday, 10 to 1, Qualcomm. Talk about it. Mikey's show's out there. It's going to be fantastic. Skye, what are you doing? What is that? What is she doing, Eddie? She's crushing my head. She's so weird. The two of them and their inside jokes that go on throughout the show is nuts. It's nuts. I watch it every morning. It's nuts. Do you know the concept of an iceberg? Dude.
What sticks out of the top is nine-tenths of it. You have no idea these two. Right, because I'm not even in there. I know it. I can't even hear what they're saying. We're close friends. What's wrong with crushing a friend's head while you're broadcasting? I mean, what's the problem here? It's nuts. Mikey show. Hey, I was wondering if you guys could get Ashley to shut up. Oh, that was terrible. That was terrible. We love Ashley. She talks too much. You got too much of that. She talks crap about us. You're thinking of Sky. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, what up, Mikey? It's P.L.M. Pops again. I wanted to say you were absolutely brilliant with that mother, dude. That's the reason I love listening to your show. Thank you. Thank you, man. I appreciate that. That's really cool of you. Yeah, and be thinking about her. She's going through some tough stuff, man. It's Friday, and it's going to be fun up in this Hizu. Yeah, what is it? Funday Friday. Oh, Ashley calls it Funday Friday. And Eddie, what are you saying it's going to be? It's going to be like, Fridays are always fun around this place. And Ashley and Rob are going to be riding a tandem bike to Starbucks while being followed by Jay in a golf cart being filmed. Most staff. Enjoy the rest of your day. The lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. And today on the show, she's got Lost and Found. So she's going to be playing songs that you haven't heard in a long time. So call her with your request. It'll be real good.
And we'll see you here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show is out late. Love your mouth.
