Mikey's crew recapped a hugely successful Sticker Strike, mocked Ashley and Shawnee's imaginary romance, and argued over whether Shawnee unfairly punished a perfectly good restaurant server. Sky's orange-juice sleepwalk opened a run of alarming sleep stories, while news bits covered a Nebraska man cutting open his own airway and Boston Rob resisting medical care for a swollen spider bite. The hosts condemned Jeff Archuleta's controlling stage-parent behavior and were stunned when Carrie said a $3,000 prom budget was inadequate, then debated how much parents should pay and whether teenagers should get hotel rooms. Ultimate Fighter contestant Jesse Taylor explained life inside the reality-show house, while other standout stories involved Suge Knight being knocked out and Marce Taylor being handcuffed after her prom dress was rejected.
What happened, in order

Mikey and the crew celebrated the thousands of listeners who attended their Sticker Strike and the new stickers they were already spotting on cars.
Ashley and Shawnee's Fake Romance
Ashley jokingly claimed that she and Shawnee nearly moved in together before she stalked him and forced him to get a restraining order.
The Fidel's Tip Fight
Mikey and Shawnee gave wildly different accounts of a restaurant server, then fought over whether the service deserved praise and a full tip.
Sleepwalking Confessions
Sky said her husband watched her sleepwalk downstairs for orange juice, prompting the hosts and callers to trade increasingly dangerous sleepwalking stories.
Self-Performed Tracheotomy
A Nebraska man whose throat had swollen shut used a steak knife to open his own airway before help could arrive.
American Idol's Stage Dad
The hosts debated American Idol banning David Archuleta's father Jeff after David ignored instructions and added lyrics that forced the show to pay extra royalties.
The $3,000 Prom Dispute
Seventeen-year-old Carrie complained that her father's $3,000 prom budget could not cover her dress, Hummer limo, restaurant, and hotel plans, stunning the entire studio.
Jesse Taylor Visits
Ultimate Fighter contestant Jesse Taylor described climbing a light pole for his audition, fighting into the house, living under constant cameras, and predicting Forrest Griffin would beat Rampage Jackson.
Suge Knight Knocked Out
Suge Knight was reportedly knocked unconscious for three minutes during a nightclub money dispute and later refused to file a police report.
Boston Rob's Spider Bite
The crew examined Boston Rob's hot, swollen, tingling arm while callers warned that a suspected spider bite could become a serious infection.
Handcuffed at Prom
Houston student Marce Taylor was barred from prom over her revealing dress, argued for a refund, and left in police handcuffs.

Mikey's show, it is 6.05. David Archuleta's dad has been banned from backstage at American Idol after he upset the show's producers. What is this? The Padres have won two in a row. Khalil Green hit his first Petco home run of the season as they beat Colorado 6-1 yesterday. It is May the 12th. That sounds like a birthday. Why do I do that? Why do I have that thing? I've never met anybody that does that thing where they go, oh, that sounds like a birthday. I don't know why I do that, but every once in a while I will say a date and it seems like a birthday, May 12th. I don't think I know anybody. I hope I don't know anybody with May the 12th. I haven't done anything. Welcome to the program. And if anybody's listening and we're friends and today's your birthday and it's May the 12th, have a birthday. Have a birthday.
Welcome to the program. Did anybody get sunburnt here at the... I'm an idiot. Dude. So am I. You put it... Both of you guys... I watched Sky put sunscreen on and I got, I should probably do that, and then didn't. Yeah. I mean, look at my arm. Yeah, dude. You are burnt up. And then, like, I was wearing a visor. Yeah. And so, like, right above where my visor is, I'm... Like, it's, like, the most awkward sunburn ever. Yeah. It sucks. Shani got burnt. Yeah. I actually put sunscreen on and I still got burnt. You did? Yeah. What did you put? SPF what? It was the stuff that, oh, man. Blunder gave it to me. And it was like, it was in a packet. It was like banana bowl. So I have no idea what it was. But I put it on like crazy and I didn't do anything. You still got burnt? Yeah. Yeah, Sky was smart, man. I saw her putting it on and she offered me some and I had a tiny bit on. So I figured I was good. For the most part, I was. But it was, we were blessed with sunshine on that sticker strike, man. And it was cooking. That was a good word. It was hot and cool. Can you smell what the sticker strike's cooking? That's an old hackneyed phrase. I mean, we've said it a million times. I say it on every Mother's Day. Exactly. Sticker strike was a success. I think that that is a...
Understatement. Sticker strike was a success. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands upon thousands of P1s came out to the sticker strike. It was ginormous. It was great, man. I got so excited because I saw a sticker on a car yesterday when I was driving on the freeway. I was like, yeah, we put that on you. That's awesome. Yeah, we did too. Yeah, when I was driving Shawnee back to my place, we were way up in North County. We saw the day of the strike. That's awesome. So great. The day of the sticker strike. And then I got a voicemail from Jay who said he was driving home and he saw a couple. That's killer. So, you know, we stickered enough of those things that they're out there. Sticker looks great. Yeah, man. Really cool. Awesome. It does. It looks really good. Yesterday was Mother's Day. Quick introduction. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. And I want to give you our age, just in case you're new listening to this show. I want to give you our ages so that you kind of know. Is this show for me, like, are there people? If we all went around the room, there are seven of us. And if we all went around the room and we all said that we're 23, there may be a part of you that says, well, I don't know. I mean, am I going to be able to relate to it?
But if one of us is 87 and one of us is 14, then, you know, you go, okay, my grandmother and my son will really enjoy this show. I'm the host of the show. I'm Mikey. I'm 37 years old. Eddie is our producer and our sports guy, and he is 35. Sky is our news girl. She's 30. Shawnee, oh boy, is our sound effects guy. Lives in San Francisco. He's the only one that isn't here with us in the studio. Lives in the Bay Area. And we look at him on a camera. We connect. We connect via satellite every day. And that's how you hear his sound effects. And he's 38. He does weird things on the camera whenever we introduce him. Yeah, he does. Get ready, man. Get ready. Okay. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is a lovely young gal. That's right. And she is very bubbly. That's a good way to describe her. She's very bubbly. She's got blonde hair. And she is a SDSU.
Alumni, alumnus, alumnus, Boston Rob, 25 years old, engaged to be married. And he is our phone screener. So when people call in, he will take the call, see whether or not it's worthy to be on the air and either put it through or let him go. Some people get irritated because they say, you know, they meet me later and they go. Yeah, dude, I've been calling for months, but Rob never lets me through. And silently, in my head, I say to myself, good job, Rob. Good job. He knows. He knows. He's been doing it now for a while. He figures out if that is something that should go on the air. Hey, dude, it's my dog's birthday. Probably isn't, you know. No way, Jose. Right through. Yeah, it's not. And your radio up. And then Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Esquire Jr., is the seventh member of the Mikey Show and the youngest. He's 23. So rich. Yeah. Yes. That is right. He is a very wise man. Wow. He's young. He's a young guy. He's 23. He's very tall. He's approximately 7 foot 9 inches tall.
But he slouches, and so he's only like 6'3". That's true. That's true. When you look at him, he's only 6'3". But when he stands straight up, 7'9". And he's got wicked VD, man. Yeah, whoa. I don't know about that. That's actually not true. Oh, that was a private thing we were talking about. Oh, oh, oh. Guess not. Guess not anymore. Sorry. 570-1053. Call us and come on the radio. Talk to us about anything you want because at the beginning and end of every show, we do that. A short week for us. We're going to be off on Friday. I'm getting baptized. Wow. Aside from my marriage, you know, getting married and the birth of my son, Jake, it's a big deal for me. I'm real stoked. Awesome. And yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Symbolic. It's symbolic. It says, I love you, Jesus. You're my main dude. You're like my main dude. I'm like your main dude. So I'm going to do that on Friday, and I'm real excited about it. I'm really stoked. Cool. Shawnee, oh boy, gave my son, Jake, who is now, he's either 19 months old or 20 months old, which, by the way, Sean suggested that I continue to use the months well into his teens. So I'll be saying, yeah, my son, Jake, just celebrated his...
411th month birthday. He's 411 months old. Oh, wow. When he graduates from high school, maybe I'll throw a little party for him at the house, have everybody over, stand up, give a toast and say, you know, my son, I never thought I'd see the day. He's 814 months old. Man, I just, he's a good kid, right? Yeah. So, Sean brought my son as a gift an outfit. And the outfit is, The stuff Sean wears. It's Shants. Shut up. Shut up. It's shorts. Baby Shants. Miniature Shants. Miniature Shants. It's shorts that, you know, they have a zipper and you can zip on legs and they become pants, so we call them Shants. And he also brought Jake a little pair of slews. No, he did not. Which are part slipper, part shoe. They don't have laces.
Starting early on his crazy trip. That's right. Oh, my God. Crazy trip? What are you talking about? You know what I'm talking about. I do not. You know. That is awesome. Chance and slews for Jake. And a Hawaiian shirt. Yes. Taboo. Dude, so we took pictures. Mini Sean. Yes. Oh, my God. That's right. We took pictures, and we got to send you the pictures. Yeah. Got to post them. They're so funny. Hilarious. A little bit later on, I will tell you guys about the experience of going out to dinner with Sean on Saturday night in North County at a Mexican restaurant. Having a really nice time. Oh, no. Yep. That doesn't sound right. Well, guys. I already know what this is going to be about. Skye, what do you think it will be about? I think it will end up having to do with the service received and the tip left. Oh, no. You? Are a wise woman. Oh, yes. I've met Shawnee O'Boy before. Skye knew exactly what was up. There was a partial conversation about that on Friday night. Yes, on Friday night. And we had to nip that in the bud real quick. Yeah. It was stupid. Yeah, it was. It was not stupid, actually. So lame. Sean is very, very tough on service. Yeah. Particularly. Not really. Not really. Okay. He really, he is foolish. I demand no more of them than I would demand for myself.
And he scrutinizes every aspect. If you were to make a list of what a server does when you go out to dinner, Sean takes that list and he scrutinizes each and every detail of that list. And he'll add to the list that you have. If you have a list of expectations, and your list is five items long, he'll turn it into 15. And he'll scrutinize each. It's not like I'm asking them to do something that is out of the scope of their job. He was a little bit, he was mildly offended at some of the things that my wife did, you know, did in terms of the way that she allowed some items of food to drop off of her plate. Sean takes exception to these things. We'll get into it a little bit later on. Something else happened that night. I was getting up to go to the bathroom. And have you guys ever had this thing happen where you're in a crowded restaurant and you think maybe you hear this guy?
Yeah. Like, and you don't want to, like, go, did someone say my name? You don't want to do that. Certain people wouldn't do that, but. Shush. And you think you know where it's coming, but you don't want to let, the last thing you want is to go over and go, I'm sorry, did you just say my name? Right. And they go, no. No, weirdo. Chindice is awkward. Oh, it's so awkward. And, you know, they were, or they go, no, what is your name? Oh, my name's Mike. Okay, well, so's my dinner guest. So, but then the thought in my head is, well, am I being rude? Did someone just, it was crowded, man. And I thought I heard someone say Mikey. And I turned and I looked and I don't, and now I'm feeling awkward and really insecure and self-conscious. And then while I'm in the bathroom, I'm thinking to myself, oh man, I bet they're sitting there right now going, boy, would I jerk that Mikey, right? I mean.
Seems like a normal guy on the radio, but boy, you get him out in public and he just ignores you. 570-1053 is the number. P1 Wall is on the line. Hi, Wall. What's going on? That is cool, man. I finally got my voice back, so now I can talk. What was it? Were you screaming at the sticker strike? Well, no, I had to yell at one of my employees. Oh, wow. Oh, man. This is a big dude. I wouldn't want him yelling at me. Eddie, you know who this is? I know exactly who it is. Yeah, because we barely had a voice when we talked to him on Saturday. And he's like this big old guy, and he's like, he can't. P1 Wall. Wall. So, wait a minute. What happened? What did he do that made you yell at him so bad you lost your voice?
He knows it pretty well, and you can get in a lot of trouble if you mess up. And he was just kind of being brainless. He just wasn't paying attention, messing up on some stuff. And I kept correcting him and correcting him, and just kept to the point where I kind of lost it, and I let him pull him off to the side and kind of rip into him. Yeah. But you were out at the sticker strike. Yes. And you had a good time out at the sticker strike. You got a couple of stickers put on your car. What do you think of the new sticker, man? Oh, I love it. Yeah. I live in South Bay, and there's not a whole lot of them down here, so I feel extra special. There you go. Hey, Wall, hang on just a second, okay? Okay. Hang on, hang on. Let's see. P1 Travis, what's up? How you doing, Mikey? What's up, dude? Hey, I just wanted to say something. Hey, I wanted to thank you for those Fridays. I'm 21 days sober today, and I'm doing really well. Right on, dude. Awesome. You're great.
I had one question, though. Hey, I saw Ashley and Sean at the sticker strike on Saturday. Those two didn't really date, did they? Oh, absolutely, for years and years. They were lovers. They most definitely did. I mean, just in love. And you were serious. Just in love. We were serious. Not even once. Mike, could you turn Sean's mic off so I could respond to this real quick? Yeah, go ahead. I'm going to turn off his mic. Not only did we date, we came close to moving in together. I heard wedding bells. thought it was moving too quickly, thus broke up with me. I freaked out, started stalking him. He put down the restraining order, which is why we're all here and he's still there. Wow. That's a true story. So that's the deal with that. Wow. So there you go. All right. Thanks, Mikey. Thank you, man. It's tough to talk about. Oh, sorry. Hard to bring it back up. P1Nerd is on the line. What's up? Greetings from the face space. Yeah, greetings. Just want to thank you guys for showing up and just want to let you know that my favorite part was the guest appearance by Beto and Dr. Wayne. Oh, how about that? Oh, I agree. Hello?
Hey, it's Dr. Wayne. Wow, that is quick. We're on top of that. I just mentioned your name. It was a quinky dink that, you know, a few of us talking about. By the way, did I mention that I am a local chiropractor here in the area? You've said that before. And I also, as a side business, specialize in Swedish massage. Whoa, you do? Yeah, I'm a certified masseuse. Nice. Skye is a massage whore. Yeah, I love some of that. That's great. Wait until she signed up. Well, no, no, no. The thing is that usually women are much more comfortable with another lady giving them a massage. Oh, I don't mind. She doesn't mind. Can we make an appointment? You don't mind a guy giving you a massage there, Skye? No, it's fine as long as you're a professional. That's fine. Well, let's see. What does your calendar look like? It's pretty open. Give me a day. Tomorrow? Tomorrow I'm all booked up. Oh. Okay. Maybe next week. Won't be able to do it. A week from today. A week from today. That's perfect. Oh, just looked on the calendar. Had it open? Nope.
Nothing available. Wow. So sorry about that. Nothing. I mean, my schedule. I mean, I get off work early, so I have, like, all day. Well, you know. Why don't you tell us your next available appointment? Good idea, Eddie. Well, I'll have to look at my calendar, and I don't have it in front of me. You just said you were looking at it. That's the wrong calendar, I thought. So I'll have to take a. What if Zeth wanted a massage? Take a deeper look at that. Would there be an availability? Oh, my goodness. I forgot. Almost forgot Zeth was even on the show, but since you brought him up. Hey, Zeth, how you doing, buddy? Okay. Creepy fast. Fascinating, Seth. Yeah, he's looking very tan there, Dr. Wayne. Yeah, Seth, how are you, man? I'm doing well. How are you? Oh, I'm good. I'm just, I had a busy weekend here polishing up all my dirt bikes. Wow, sounds tough. I got a lot of dirt bikes here at the house, and I don't know if I've ever told you this. I am a collector of exotic foreign cars. Understand from your blog you like those. And so if you ever wanted to take a ride in anything, just let me know. And, you know, I'll just sort of mentor you. Okay. That's enough. I think that's enough. I think we're good, Dr. Wayne. Sounds like Seth's got a nut. How can you hear that? How can you hear that over the phone?
You've been doing it as long as I have. You just sort of learned the... Wow, you are good. And so, yeah, Zeth, if you want, I can tell you. What day do you have available? Oh, me too. Why don't we... I'll bring the beer, you bring the absinthe. That was weird. Nothing normal about that from Dr. Wine. He's a strange guy. Very strange guy. So, let's see. 570-1053 is the number. Call us, beginning and end of every show. P1 Killer. Hey, Mikey Show. What's up? I went through five times just to get the sticker and meet everybody. I know who this is. Yeah, she was so cute. You know, she got to the front, and I'd be like, oh, here's your prize. And she's like, no, no, I've actually already been through. I just wanted to make sure I got to say hi to each member of the show. Oh, that's great. That is great. Hey, Eddie. Yeah. You have some rockin' cast, dude. Oh, yeah.
Let me tell you something. That's all I have left. That guy's got some incredible calves. Very muscular. Very muscular. That's all I work out now. That's right. Just calves. Yeah, he's like Rob. You know how Rob talks about it. He's got to work on those forearms every few days. I've let everything else go to hell but those calves, man. Nice. Did you guys notice that when Sean was coming back up on stage at the very end of the sticker strike, he almost face-planted? Oh, no way. I caught it. That is fantastic. I would have laughed. Shut up. Sean, what happened? So you were calling me and Sky to come up, and it was getting to the point where I had to get up there quickly. And I'm coming around, and they have those middle barricades up. and there's a promotions person right in front of me, and there's a little bit of space between them and the barricade. So I try and sneak through. Well, right there is where two of the barricades come together, and those little feet come out, and I caught my foot on the little foot of the barricade. Oh, no. And I, like, stumble and, like, stagger. Oh, no. Yeah, and a bunch of people saw it. I saw the same thing happen with our boy Zeth. Oh, yeah, you did. I did. Yep.
Well, when I was trying to get Sky, I said, go get Sky and Sean. Because they were working their butts off, man. They were out there handing out those envelopes right at the very end. I mean, it was like the last three cars were coming through. And there's Sky and Sean. They're still out there working. So I say to Zeth, go grab them. Go grab them. Bring them back up here. So there's this. They put a barricade up so that it would separate the cars from the crowd. Because there was a big crowd out there that just wanted to hang out. So Zeth is going to do this very cool sort of dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun. He's going to do this cool skateboard move. I'm going to grab the top of the barricade. And I'm going to grab the top of the barricade with both hands. And then I'm going to do this sort of really cool Ethan Hawke.
Jump up in the air and I'm a spy, man. Ethan Hunt. Ethan Hawke. No, I'm talking about... The actor Ethan Hawke? The actor Ethan Hawke. Apparently he's really limber. I never thought of him like that. I was a former gymnast. But you know what, Eddie? You know, yours is a good example, too. Ethan Hunt. You were talking about Mission Impossible, I thought. Maybe I'm wrong. No, I like that one, too. And so let's go with that one, say. Oh, okay. And so as he's pulling his... Long legs up in the air to go over the barricade. Well, the tips of the toes and the shoes make contact with the barricade, and his face goes forward, and the rest of his body doesn't. Doesn't this guy use Charlie Brown? I know he is. You should see my palms. This one's all scraped up, got a hole in it, and this one's all swollen. The beauty was him, like, kind of, you know, jumping back up. Hoping no one saw anything. Nothing to see here. And did anybody, like, did you hear a response from that or anything when that happened? Did you hear, like, anybody scream out any comments or did anybody seem to acknowledge? Oh, come on, Charlie Brown. I got a couple, like, way to goes and, like, a couple Charlie Browns.
That's our boy. How was Mother's Day, you guys? It was good. Yeah, it was really nice. What did you guys do for Mother's Day? Well, I went out to my mother-in-law's and barbecued. People were trying to get me to swim, but I didn't want to because it was freezing. Oh, that's weird. I had to be attacked for two hours. Oh, that's unnecessary. About swim, swim, swim. Come in, come in, swim. It's great. No, thank you. No, I don't want to. It's cold. Yeah, I'm good. Come in, come in, swim. Thank you very much, but no thank you. No, I don't want to. Yeah, you guys should come in and get used to it. It's great. But I'm fine. I'm just, you know. You should tell them. This is a good thing to tell people with that, is in the future you say, You know, it's a really strange thing. I have this disorder that does not ever allow me to get used to it. That's the opposite effect. Yes. I get colder. Yes. It's really strange, but you know how you get used to it when you get in there? Man, boy, I wish I had that. But for me, it actually gets colder, and I could be dead within a couple of minutes. But thank you for the offer. It sounds fantastic. They wouldn't have cared. Sky, what about you?
Yeah, ours was really good. Every year, my brother and his wife always take everybody out for a Mother's Day brunch, and they always do, like, different locations. And so this year, it was the Bahia. And it turns out that they held the Mother's Day brunch in the same ballroom that Eddie got married in. No way. Yeah. No way. Yeah, so it was pretty cool. So me and the boo kept reminiscing all throughout brunch. Oh, that's cool, man. The drunken debauchery. That's really cool. Yeah, so it's really nice. Beautiful. Was the brunch good? Yeah. What'd you eat? Salmon. Oh, man. Salmon. Well, dude, you know that's what they must have had. Oh, yeah. She probably ate bread. They had everything. They had everything. So I had a little pork for breakfast. Pork? A little pork product. What do you mean pork? Pork. What does that mean, pork? Don't just say pork. I'd rather not say a word. A little eggs. A little salt. Did you have a big slice of ham? Oh. Did you have a ham steak? Yummy. I don't see the relevant. I don't see the relevant. She loves ham so much. I don't see the relevant. We make a joke out of how much she loves ham, but the truth is she loves it. Every meal. Prime rib for breakfast, whatever the heck they were serving. Roast or whatever. Some people do. Yes, for dessert, I'll have the ham-oose, please. Whatever.
Ham a la mode. Yes. I'll take the ham split. She loves ham. You know what I mean? It is good. I like ham. It was a wonderful brunch. There you go. Thank you. Let's see. P1 Chris, are you there? Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up? They had a great time out there. That was great. I just want to say how privileged I am that Sean gave me a fist bump. I can't believe it. Wow. That's amazing. That's very rare. I'm feeling pretty special. At the same time, Chris, I have to ask, what else is he going to do? You know, I mean, when that fist goes out there, there's not much Sean can do. Exactly. Love you, Johnny, oh boy. Love all you guys. That's right. Thank you very much. Whatever. Let's see. Oh, I got to make, hang on just a second, Tiberius, okay? Yeah. P1 Tiberius is going to hold. I have to speak now directly to T-Rex, P1 T-Rex. I have to apologize to him. He wanted me to bring Sean back to the radio station and get some stuff that he left for Sean. Yeah. And I was not able to do that. And so I know T-Rex. Next time I see him or even later this morning, I know I could expect a phone call or expect to see him. And he would say, did you take Sean and get the stuff? And I would have to say no. And so I want to let T-Rex know. I know he's listening.
That we did it, but T-Rex will take care of it. It'll get taken care of. We'll figure it out. P1 Tiberius. Good morning, Michael. What's up, dude? Hey, I was just wondering. I was at the sticker strike, and you guys have so many fans here in San Diego. I was wondering if you guys feel at all like celebrities. What do you guys think? Silly. No. Negative. Yeah, it's so weird, man, when all those people are out there. I still feel like a big old dork. Yes. That's what I said to you guys when I pulled in. I was, like, kind of mad because I saw all the cars. And I'm like, man, they said they weren't going to have another event at the stadium. Right. And it was for us. And I was like, oh, yeah. Oops. See, it's tough to feel. I bet, Tiberius, that Brad Pitt feels like a celebrity. And part of the reason that I bet he feels like a celebrity is he certainly looks like one. Now, I'm just speaking for myself. I am an unattractive fat kid from Gilroy. And so it's a little bit hard for me to kind of tie into that whole celebrity thing. Because when it ain't working, it's hard to be like, I got it working. You know what I'm saying? I hear you. Thank you.
Thank you very much. It's Tiberius. Okay, on the show today, let me tell you what we have going on for you today. First of all, your text message is 35253. Text us. We're going to do a little something called the DCC. The Dumb Chick Challenge is coming up just after 7 o'clock. Listen to this crazy audio that we have going on today. First of all, Bill Clinton lost it again and started going off on some heckler. Yes. I know it, dude. He, like, loses it and starts getting upset. So we got that coming up. Then we got audio of this news story about a girl that got handcuffed at the prom. Whoa. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we'll give you that. And we also have some pretty interesting audio of a girl on a train in Atlanta that I guess somebody caught this on tape. It's all over YouTube. It's the girl in Atlanta that goes off on this other chick.
And she starts evoking the lyrics to Soulja Boy while she's going off on it. And that should be good. We're also going to do P1 trivia today. Should be good. Your phone calls at 570-1053 and our text number 35253. Dane Cook is in the stand-up spotlight. All these things you want to be, then you grow up. And you finally become whatever it is. I wanted to be a cop for a little bit, officer of the law. That's one thing I wanted to be. Those cops in Florida, they're in trouble. Cricket Wireless is, first of all, thanks for coming out to the sticker strike. And, you know... Cricket Wireless sponsored that thing. Yeah, they helped make that possible. It's really cool. And they're always staying ahead of the curve. They got this new thing, right? What are they doing now? Well, they got the unlimited rate plan, which most major carriers, they have an unlimited rate plan, but it's for like $100. Yeah, it's ridiculous. It's like $99 for most major players.
Cricket says, no, no, that's terrible. They slash that price in half, and they have an unlimited rate plan for just $50. So if you tally that up throughout the whole year, you could save like $600 by using Cricket. That's pretty cool. Which is awesome. They get it, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So do yourself a favor. Check them out. If you want more details on that and you're going, yeah, I've heard them talking about this a while, I better get in on it. Sky, what's the website? Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. That's not a bad ride starting us off from Monday back to work. We do have a couple of things to be aware of, though. There is one accident here involving several cars in a big rig. It's westbound 8 just before East Main Street. And that's while you're backed up out of the Cajon Valley as you come in approaching a Las Cochas Road. That's a pretty tough ride to the scene of this crash.
Once you get past that, though, you're good to go over to the Grossmont Summit. Smooth all the way to Mission Valley from there. West 94 and the King Freeway looking great all the way into downtown out of Lemon Grove. Both the 5 and 805 northbound will have smooth rides as well out of the South Bay. 805 is starting to bunch up a little bit through North Park, though, as you head in that direction. Southbound's out of the 15, getting pretty tough, though, out of Escondido. Break lights off to 78 down to Villarancho Parkway. And now some reduced speeds again over Lake Hodges, winding your way through the construction zone. Here in Rancho Bernardo, so slow for the Cone Zone. And your coaster ride, South 5, is picking up some slow traffic now as well out of Encinitas down into Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Mikey's show continues featuring Mikey. If everybody's going one way, a lot of times I like to go the other. Eddie. I may at times suffer from delusions of grandchildren. I've never been to a math out. You have. Floss a minimum of three times a day. The Coast Guard has called off the search for a missing Oceanside couple whose boat washed up in Rosarito.
The Lakers collapsed in overtime, losing to Utah 123-115, even the series at two games apiece. Mikey, Eddie's calves are so awesome, I noticed that the sticker strike that they actually say in small writing, inflate the 35 pounds. That's a P1 hero. Hey, they are nice. Does it make me gay if I notice that you have nice calves? All right, then... They are, Skye, what do you think of his calves? Well, I think they're nice. They're definitely defined and muscular. Oh, live this girl. What? What's up? Okay. Oh, God. Would you like to know Seal's real name? Yeah. Dolphin. It is, well, you know what? Zeth, why don't you tell us what his real name is? Dude. Yeah, go ahead. All right. It's Seal is actually his real first name. And it's followed up by Olusugun, Olu-Minde, Adiola Samuel. There you go. Olusugun, Olu-Mide. I think it's Olu-Mide. No, I bet it would be Olu-Mide. Olu-Mide. Oh, that's it. That's it. Oh, good. Now I recognize it. Adiola Samuel. That's a tough name to say.
Mel Shway. Shway? It's true. It's true. You don't know. You don't know. Mikey, I got called into work and missed the sticker strike. Is there any other way to get a sticker? Your ever-faithful listener, P1FattyJ. Now that the sticker strike is over, I still want to get those stickers out there. I think that the best way to get a sticker now is just listen to Rock 105 and wait for them to go out on the road and do specific things where maybe they'll have some of those stickers available. I will make them available here at the front lobby. And so if you come into the radio station, you can get them at the front lobby. The cool thing about these stickers is that they are, in fact, limited edition.
There's two schools of thought. One is you want to get the word out, so you want to get stickers on as many cars as possible, but at the same time, you want to maintain a level of exclusivity. Right now, we have a pretty good balance with that, and so that's how we make them available. Okay, let's... Did I give a time check or no? Yeah. I did. Okay, let's get into it then. I got an email here, and the email title is Sticker Strike. It says, hey guys, that was amazing today. I'm so glad I got to go. I've always wanted to go and meet you guys, but I've had this certification class for my work as a soccer trainer for every time I've been in town for the sticker strike. That and I didn't have my license at the time, but just wanted to let you guys know that I love the show and I'm going to skip that class every year for you guys from now on. You guys are well worth it. That says thanks again, P1 Bassist. P.S. Dr. Papani.
I don't hold it against you for not giving me that gas card. Ha, just kidding, bro. Thanks again. That was awesome. I had no control over it. Yeah, Eddie just had envelopes. He couldn't control it. I hold it against you. Wow, that's unfair. The subject of this email is Chargers season tickets. Says Mikey Show. Just wanted to say thank you for the prize I got at the sticker strike. I went to get a sticker and meet you guys and walked away with Chargers season tickets. I listen to you guys every day and have been a huge Chargers fan my whole life. This was the first event I was able to make because of my office space job that holds me down from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. The good thing about my job is that it lets me listen to the radio at a reasonable level. So I get to listen to you guys every day. It was awesome getting to meet you guys and I just wanted to let you know. that the tickets were not given not only to a huge Chargers fan, but also to a huge fan of the show. Thanks again, P1 Mike Jr. Awesome. We definitely like to hear that. That is good stuff. So Saturday night, we went out to dinner, and it was myself, it was my wife, it was my wife's friend Lori, our friend Wendy, and...
Shawnee O'Boy and his wife, who is lovely. His wife is so sweet. Yes. She is so sweet. She is low maintenance. You know, Sean at a restaurant is what you call high maintenance. And we had, you know, we ate at Fidel's in North County. So it was a Mexican restaurant in Carlsbad. And I got to tell you, and I'm telling you the truth. So when I tell you this, I want you to know this is the truth. Regardless of what Sean says, Because you guys know, he's kooky. That's true. Very true. No, no, no, no. Impeccable service. It was impeccable service. I mean, this guy was fantastic. It was not impeccable service. I believe you. It wasn't even close. Sean does the usual, picks up the fork, starts to inspect it. Get over yourself. Eddie, he thinks he finds something on the fork, and I look at it.
And I just shake my head. He switches forks with his wife. And what he was looking at, Eddie, was a small imperfection in the material itself. You know, the metal of the fork. It was not an imperfection, dude. It was a chunk of, like, it looked to me like onion. Well, it wasn't. Oh, come on. Dude, you didn't even look at it. I'm the one that inspected it. I looked at it. I'm telling you. Imperfection in the material. Oh. And then did this guy have issues with the server? Who was Eddie? He was great. Sky, I'm not making this up. You guys, he was great. I'm sure. He had an attitude the whole time. Oh, come on. And when Rebecca tried to order something just a little bit special, totally copped an attitude. Yeah, tell us how that happened, Sean. So Rebecca wanted to get some diced onion. She said to him, Could I please get some diced onion on the side? And he said, huh? He didn't do that, you guys. Yeah, he did. First of all, you guys, English for this fella, clearly a second language. And he understood. He understood, but you could tell there's a little bit of a disconnect maybe.
And so, and it's loud. I even told you earlier, it was loud. It was packed. The reason it was packed, great service, great food. Okay, so can I continue? Sure, sure. So he says, huh? And she says, some diced onion, please, on the side. And he looks at her like, what language are you speaking? Hold on. And then he goes, diced. And Rebecca has to go, you know, onion chopped up. And at that point, if he goes further, he knows he's obviously going to be a jerk. But he can still get away with it if he pulls back now. But he got what he wanted out of her, which is, you know what, Weta? You're going to have to work for this. Yes, he wanted humiliation. So she goes, you know, onion chopped up. And he goes, oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he goes off and gets it. Okay, so now let me... Hold on. It's not done. Okay, go ahead, Sean. So Mike also asked for napkins. So he comes back. He throws down the diced onion. Oh, is that what happened? It's Rebecca. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Then he punched her. Hold on. And then he takes the napkins.
and puts them right into our chips. Oh, my God. Like, right on top of the chips. On top of them. Who does this guy think he is? Was there no room on the table? Who takes napkins and puts them right into your chips? There was no room on the table. A jerk, that's too short. There was plenty of room on the table. Ashley, you were a server. No, I'm pissed. I would never throw napkins in some of the blocks. Do you really believe that this is how it went down? I believe Sean. Let me tell you. Why would he lie? Now let me tell you how. This is crazy. Let me tell you how this happened. I disagree. I'm not crazy. You're not. I will now tell you how this happened. Please. Thank you. My wife said, could I get some more onions? Can I get some onions on the side? Huh? Could I get some onions on the side? Sure. Yes, please. And then he goes, gets the onions and brings them back. And when he comes back. You left out the whole chopped up part. You know, onions chopped up. There may have been a misunderstanding. He may not have completely understood. And it was loud. And when she said chopped onion, he brought them. And that is a different request. So maybe he wanted to make sure he understood. And he did put them down normally. He did not throw them in her face. He did not throw them in her face. I didn't say throw them in her face. When did he drop kick her? The table is packed. It is packed. And we had a basket.
of two or three remaining chips. Oh, no, no. This was after your entrees had already been served. This is after entrees have been served. We've gone through the chips. Get out of here. Someone wanted those last two chips. So you can't eat them if there's napkins there? It was halfway full, dude. Halfway full. Aren't napkins supposed to be sanitary? Like, what's the problem? I hope he didn't bring sanitary napkins. I don't want them. No, you know what I mean. Like, they're not dirty. They're not covered in germs. Shut up. So the kicker was Sean gets so infuriated with me because I say to him, not only was our service impeccable, but I plan on getting a manager here and letting him know how pleased I was with his server tonight. No way. And Sean, you can see in his face, is so irritated at that. And he says to me, just so you know, if you do that,
I will do the opposite. Sure. And I meant it, dude. No way, Jose. So I couldn't do it. Was there a discussion about the tip? Or were you... Did you handle it? How did it go? You handled it, right? How did it go? Before I tell you this story, I'm going to let you know that this man was well compensated tip-wise. Okay. Before I tell you this story. Unfortunately. Didn't learn anything. But what we did was we... Split the check on two cards, okay? Oh, no. And so I gave our normal tip about 20%. Sean, I noticed, was starting to put his, you know, receipt in. And I took a look at this sucker and handwritten in blue ink. Yeah. Nothing. Come on. Exclamation point. Exclamation point. Hang on. Exclamation point. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Not zero. This man was well compensated. I made up for it for Sean. Oh, my God. Sean furious with it. Sean was furious with it. Are you kidding? Sean was furious with it. He was furious with it. With me. He wrote nothing? Well, of course. Well, Sean felt. I wrote the word nothing. Sean felt.
How does your wife deal with you? Oh, let me tell you. She's so embarrassed. She's so embarrassed of him. She should not go to jail. That is awesome. And I'm telling you, this guy, he really believes it. He really believes that the service was terrible. I hope it made an impact on that guy. Maybe he'll learn something. Maybe he'll change his attitude. Maybe he won't meet white people the next time. Maybe he'll, what, learn English? Like, I don't know how you wanted that to... Maybe he'll take some night classes. Like, so we can understand that. Poor guy. Let me tell you something. Fidel's, North County, you got to go. Delicious food. It's so good. Service was perfection. If the napkins go on the chips and the napkin goes on your face. Eddie, you know what you're doing. I thought you were trying to say he was getting grease on his face or something like that. No, no, no. I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying and you're right.
It's an insult, dude. It's an insult. You're an insult. You're an insult. It's like slapping the leather glove. Here you go. You know what they get, Sean? Nothing. P1 trivia later. And when we come back, 570-1053 is our phone number, by the way. Our text number is 35253, and a KUSI reporter was arrested this weekend in San Francisco. Hey, Mikey, the sticker strike on Saturday was amazing. I ate two Johnsonville brats and had a couple of Diet Pepsis, all courtesy of Rock 105. I had the best time meeting and hanging out with so many different P1s. The show members were so gracious to all the P1s that wanted to talk or take pictures or sign something.
and I didn't observe any of the P1s acting rude or disrespectful. From my vantage point, it was a perfect day. The picture we got with the whole Mikey Show cast was the best. Thanks for your help with that. Talk to you later, dude. It's P1 Kyle. Very, very cool. Very cool, man. I think that sticker strike was about as good as it gets. Everything went off good. The weather was perfect. It was all really, really cool. So thank you to everyone who showed up out there. We had a blast. Those Johnsonville brats are addictive and good. Oh, man. Yeah. They're so good, man. Yeah. So anyway, thank you for coming out. It was a really cool time. The KUSI reporter, Skye, what's the deal? Well, a KUSI reporter, Rod Luck. Get out of here. Was arrested Friday night. Eddie, I can't picture him. Dude, Rod Luck, he's the guy that goes out to all the restaurants and he's kind of crazy. Oh, oh, oh. Wears glasses. Yeah. Holy. What happened? Well, so Friday night, him and his girlfriend, who both live in La Jolla, were in San Francisco at a hotel. I don't know if they're a vacation or whatever, but they were at a hotel in San Francisco Friday night when officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance. They went to their hotel room and found Rod Luck's girlfriend with injuries to her mouth and upper lip area. The woman told police that Rod had hit her.
in the mouth with his fist. Get out of here. And he was arrested on suspicion of battery. Holy moly. Rod looks like a San Diego staple. What's he going to do? Is he going to lose his job? I don't know, but he's been on TV for a long time in San Diego. Wow. It's very sad. I hope it gets figured out. And what I mean by that is Rod And I hope that that gets all figured out. I'm sure it's going to be a bummer around that station. It's going to be a bummer around there. And so that's too bad. The Padres actually won two games in a row. I don't know what's going on. What is happening? I don't know what's happening. What is this? Well, you know, luckily Colorado.
They were able to beat them on Saturday and then again yesterday, 6-1. Khalil Green actually hit a home run. I don't know. Maybe things are turning around a little bit. Maybe they are. That would be great. That would be great. Last night, my wife started to recite a recipe in her sleep. Well, she wasn't reciting a recipe. She was saying, like, telling me, I'm assuming, how to make something. And so she was going, you have to put milk. You have to put milk. Really? Yeah, and it just made me laugh because it reminded me of Eddie because Eddie's wife, he says, talks in her sleep all the time. Every night. Every night? Every night. Every night. Every night. Wow. Really? Yeah. And she did something new this weekend, which was really fun. What? Oh, she kicked violently. Oh, like nonstop. Like she was trying to get somebody like off her kind of kick or like running or something, you know, but I'm like dead sleep and somebody's kicking and I'm like, what's going on? Like, what the hell? It may be time for a one woman sleeping bag. Yeah. I want to go back to the days where, you know, they had those separate beds. No, you don't want that. You don't want that.
Why not? And you guys can't spoon. That's right. You need the closeness. I'm all right with it. So, check this out. You know how I've told you guys that when I was young, I would, like, talk in my sleep and walk in my sleep all the time. Yeah, you went downstairs naked when you were, uh... Okay, we didn't need to bring that specific thing up when there were teenage boys in the house. Yeah, there was teenage boys that came over to the house. And I was really embarrassed. Yeah, she was embarrassed. I'm sure you were really sleeping. Well, not only that, but it was very embarrassing. It was very embarrassing. Why do I want to show them my flat chest? Yes. Oh, you were pretty experienced at a young age. I was not. Definitely not. In fairness to Skye, she was 12 years old. Oh, well, then she had already... No, negative. Anyway. So, yeah, so I still sometimes will have, like, crazy dreams that I tell you guys about or whatever, but... That's crazy! My husband claims, and I'm not quite sure if I believe him or not, that... I, the other day, walked in my sleep and went downstairs and got a glass of orange juice and drank it and then went back up to bed. For real? And you don't remember doing that? No. Uh-uh.
Well, because you know how, like... How is that possible, though? How? You know how our upstairs, like, from the upstairs hallway, you can, like, look down into, like, the great room kitchen area, you know? So he heard me get out of bed, and he thought I was just going to the bathroom, but then I walked out of the room, and he said it was the middle of the night. So he went out into that little hallway and looked down, and he said he saw me standing there drinking a glass of juice, and then I walked back up the stairs, and he was, like, trying to talk to me, and I just walked right past him and went to bed. Whoa. This is what I want to know. I don't remember anything about that. I don't know anything about the sleep stuff. So I wonder, can you get hurt or are you in a state of sleep that is sort of cognitive enough that you know where you're going? It's freaky because I don't remember anything. I mean, if she was able to maneuver stairs and all that stuff. Yeah, because I used to do that when I was a kid, you know. Yeah, like this one time she actually came downstairs topless while there was a bunch of teenage boys that were there. Interesting the timing on that. No, but occasionally I would get confused when I was a kid too in my sleep because like my parents' closet.
the wall was the same wall as like my bedroom wall. And one time I walked into their room and walked into the closet and was trying to like walk through the wall, like just kept banging my head into the wall. And they're like, no, your room, that way. So I don't know. I think you could get hurt, but it's freaky because I haven't done it in so long. And I think it's times of stress. I don't know. I think that when I was a kid, and we'll have to ask my parents to... But my mom wouldn't remember. My dad, I'm not sure. But I think as a kid, I urinated in my parents' closet. Okay, wait. As a little kid. No way. I was anywhere between five and eight. And I think I did that, not knowing. My buddy Tim did that too, but he was drunk. That was a whole different story. And he was not a child when he did that. He was a full-grown man. He was married and did that. That was what made it more odd and unusual and inappropriate. I don't know that we've all been there. Many of us have been different places in that state. In the corner of a room.
Odd. Odd. Probably drunk. A couple years ago. Okay. No way, Jose. Eddie thought it was the end of Blair Witch. Turned out to be something completely different. Oh, gosh. P1004, what's going on? Yeah, I had a friend back when I was living up in the Bay Area who, it was like 2 a.m., and he was sleepwalking. He left his house, walked two blocks over to our house, rang the doorbell. And it was like, the furniture at our house is flying all around. It's just flying. And we were like, dude, you need to go back home, okay? He was throwing furniture? No, he was saying that. No, he was just talking about how furniture was flying all around his house. And it was obvious that he was asleep because he had that like half eyes open, half eyes open. clothes kind of like that can't be good that cannot be good no it was not i wonder how you don't hurt yourself doing that well yeah i remember my wife said her sister when they were camping once like walked out of their tent or trailer or wherever they were in and was headed straight for the lake sleepwalking and i guess their dad woke up and like
Grabbed her right before she walked. So even her sister does crazy sleep stuff. Well, she did, yeah. Wow. My dad would freak my mom out because they'd be asleep. And out of nowhere, he'd be like, fire, fire. Oh, great. Fire, fire. And my mom would wake up and go, where? And he's like, under the bed. Oh, no. No way. There's nothing under the bed, you know? No way. Happened like once a week. Eddie, I wonder. It was nuts. Eddie, I wonder if there's anything that you guys can do that will help to quell the, you know, sleep stuff. Yes, NyQuil. NyQuil. Yeah, the sleep chatter. NyQuil. Yes. Drugs help a lot. Buy the bottles. You'll be good. 570-1053 is our phone number. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, I want to talk to Mikey about my experience at Amco. Okay, cool. Can you hang on a minute, though? Because we're right in the middle of a topic, but can you hang on? Yeah, for sure. He's like, it was so weird. I was sleep talking to Amco, asking them. Saying beep, beep. Beep, beep. Yeah, brother. I just took a live call. We're on the air, and we're talking about the sleep thing. So can you hang on a minute? Yeah, for sure. Yeah, hang on. Hang on. Let's see. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey. This is P1 Harold. Go ahead, Harold. Yeah, my wife...
stepdad is like a martial artist and he would wake up in the middle of the night thinking he was under attack. Oh, dude. That's not good. No way. That is not good. My wife told me a story. She woke up in the middle of the night and ran into a room and kicked down the closet door off the hinges. Holy cow. That is not good. Yeah, gnarly. Thank you for the call. Yeah, thank you. Appreciate it. Hello? Oh, good morning, guys. Hey, Babs. Hey, it's Barbara. Barbara? What's up, sister? I heard the topic, and, you know, I have had this issue myself. Really? And, you know, by the way, I just want to let all the new listeners know. Uh-huh, please. I'm Barbara. I'm a part-time Hillary supporter and a full-time black woman. So, hello. I think you can tell that she's not really a black woman. Anywho, I used to have this problem as well. And what I did to be able to sort of quiet down my deal, because what I would do is I would start doing cheerleading pirouettes. Whoa. There's no such thing. Is there such a thing, Scott? No, no. A pirouette is a turn that a ballerina dancer does. Why is she so confused? I don't know. Because, guys, it was a part of a double dutch.
dance bus. Okay, that's really a bus. Again, there's no such thing. Anyway, I have this issue, too, and I used to frighten my homies when I was sleeping. Oh, really? On the cheerleading squad. From the double Dutch bus. Let me tell you, I would scare the heck out of my baby's daddy, and so finally, when I was doing this in my sleep, so finally. I figured out what the key to it was. What's that? Well, basically, it was what you got to do is you got to make a little mixture of Xanax and a 40, a highlight. No, that doesn't sound good. I did. Doesn't sound good. I would do that. Don't do that. No, no Tussin. No Tussin, lady. And I had a little song that I would do. It would go, and just a spoonful of Xanax makes the medicine. This is bad advice. No. Stop it. Stop it. Bye, y'all. Later. Bye. She's not black. I mean, she says that every time. I think she is. I believe her. I'm telling you, I don't believe it. Don't encourage her. You can text us at 35253. We're getting a lot of these calls on people.

So I've been talking to P1s. I've been getting emails. You guys have been taking me up on this, and it's something that I'm using, and I'm so stoked that the P1s are actually making the phone call to West Coast Financial Services. They're helping me out, getting my credit score up a little bit. They're helping me with some of my debt, trying to consolidate it. And this is a big thing that I have not had to experience, but I know there's P1s out there with the economy the way it is. But foreclosures are happening and West Coast Financial can help you with foreclosure relief. Now, what they can do is they can make different options available to you. They can negotiate with your bank. They can modify your loan. They can help you out of the situation you might be in. Now, interest rates are going up. Right now you're looking at a tough ride out of the Cajon Valley, backed up from Lake Jennings Park Road, slow and go to an earlier accident clearing here near East Main Street. Once you get past that, you're looking good all the way to Mission Valley, though. The West 94 King Freeway also slowing down from Euclid Avenue pretty much to the 15, and I'm not a minor delay in the downtown. You went into Sleep Train in San Marcos.
I sure did, Mikey. Went in there, was going to get the queen, told them I was the P1. They upgraded us to the California king and took $1,200 off the price. That's pretty amazing. Yeah, it was nice. And they gave us the pillows, mattress cover, sheets, everything for free, free delivery, all of that, just because I said I was the P1. There are certain things in my life that I considered no-brainers. At the time that I married my wife, I knew that one was a no-brainer. Nobody's going to put up with the stuff she puts up with and is still real cool about it like her. But there's also things like when I talk about AIS and when I talk about Sleep Train, these are no-brainers in life. If you're doing anything other than Sleep Train or AIS, it's not the best decision you could be making. Sleep Train is the best decision you could be making if you need a mattress. It was an awesome mattress, too. The Beautyrest Plush Paris, I mean, it's gorgeous. That's nice, dude. That's nice. Sleep Train in San Marcos. Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. Cleaning in between my fingers. Boston Rob. I love rocking a toothpick, and I never buy them. I get them from restaurants. Ed Ashley. The Bedding Beyond. The Star. The Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. Welcome back to The Mikey Show. It is 7.30. A storm system that hit the Midwest this weekend killed 22 people. NBA playoffs yesterday's San Antonio tied up their series at two games apiece beating New Orleans. Welcome back to the show. So Sky says that stamps are going up again. I don't know why Sky does this, but all I know is that we shouldn't have to pay more for these stamps. Seems like every few months she's telling us again. Sorry, guys. Why do you hate us? You gotta pay more.
You got to pay more. I don't hate anybody. And I say to her, well, when does it end, Skye? Stop the madness. Stop it. So a stamp, a regular postage stamp went up one penny today. But if you bought those forever stamps, then those are still good. They're good for forever. So regardless of the rate change, those will stay the same. But so starting today to mail a letter, 42 cents. This doesn't seem fair. Terrible earthquake in China, man. Terrible earthquake in China. It was enormous. When did it happen, Skye? I believe it was this morning. I don't know what the time difference is between us and them, but you see people at work, kids were in school, stuff like that. Oh, here it is. It was 2.28 local time there in China. 2.28 this morning? 2.28 p.m. Yesterday? No. I think... Right now, like in China, you know, because of the time difference right now in China, maybe it's like four o'clock in the afternoon or something. Yeah. So it was, you know what I'm saying? No, I'm lost. When did it happen? It happened 2.28 p.m. local time in China today in China. Okay, but we don't know what time that was our time. Exactly. Okay.
But, I mean, you know, the reports, you know, have just like when I came in this morning at about 4.30, I was seeing the reports that were just coming in. It was huge, man. Yeah, a 7.8 magnitude. That is amazing. Buildings collapsed. So far, they're saying 3,000 dead. But there was like a school building that collapsed with like 900 children in it. Shut up. So far, they've pulled out 50 bodies from that rubble. But, you know, there were 900 people in the building. So, I mean, they say at least 10,000 injured. I'll pray about that. The death toll just keeps rising. That's terrible. Yeah. Yeah, that is a terrible story. 7.8. The one that we had in the Bay Area in 89 was like 7-1. Wasn't it? Huge. I fell off my bike. Something like that. You guys remember? Yeah. So this is a terribly big earthquake. Yeah. Anyway, we'll give you more information because it's something that's happening now. The news is coming in now. And so we'll keep letting you know about it. Before we went to break, we were talking about this sleep thing. Skye said she got up in the middle of the night, went downstairs, drank juice.
That's crazy. She was sleeping. Oh. She was doing this in her sleep. She went down there and drank juice. What kind of juice? It was orange juice. Oh. Well, according to my husband, it was orange juice. It's the only juice we had in the fridge. Liar. P1 Christina. He could be. What's up, Mikey? What's going on? That's the match. I just wanted to let you guys know I was in your studio a couple weeks ago. I won P1 Trivia. Uh-huh. And I get really excited. I sleepwalk when I get really excited. Yeah. And the night before, I sleptwalk in my parents' room at about, like, 11 o'clock. And I had a towel in my hand. They're like, what are you doing? I said, I got to get in the shower. I got to get ready to go to the Mikey show. You know, all this stuff. But it was only 11 o'clock at night. Wow. Yeah. And then they followed me into my bedroom. And I was all, leave me alone. I'm getting in the shower. I was all excited. Yeah. That's funny. Wow. Thank you, Christina. Later, Mikey. P1 tray slip. Yeah. What's up? What's going on, dude? Yeah, I got a funny story about my friend who works for UPS. Uh-huh. And he's a loader. Yeah. And his girlfriend walks in the living room, and he is loading an imaginary truck in the living room. Oh, wow. He's like, what are you doing? What are you doing? He's like, oh, I got to get this truck done. I got to get this truck done. So she started to help him and everything. That's funny. That is funny.
Yeah, that was pretty funny. Most of us on the show have had radio nightmares. Oh, yeah. Radio nightmares are where you think you have dead air or something. You're dreaming. None of the equipment works right. Right, and you're running down a long studio hallway trying to get to the studio. The on-air light is off, so you know you have dead air, and the hallway just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I had this happen when I was 18. It was my first apartment, and it had a Murphy bed. You know what a Murphy bed is? Yep. It's one of these deals where the bed comes out of the wall. You pull it down out of the wall. And then when you're done sleeping, you just stick your bed back up in the wall. What's Sky's brother used to stick Sky in? Well, that was a Murphy couch, I think. No, that was a sofa. That was a sofa bed. That's different. But anyway, same concept. And it had, you know, just it was just a big mattress. And it had these.
Giant buttons on the mattress, you know, the kind of buttons that are sort of indented into the, you know what I mean, into the mattress. And I woke up and I was pushing those buttons and I was, you know, yelling that, oh, dead air. And I was trying to start the buttons to make the equipment start. I had a radio nightmare last night. You did? Yeah. What did you dream? It was that I had an appearance from 11... at night till one in the morning. Yeah. And I was aboard this, like, ship with all these levels and I woke up at 1215 and was like, like, my alarm hadn't gone off. And I'm like, I'm an hour late and I'm freaking out and I'm running and I'm going on all the levels and I can't find where the appearance is. Of the boat? Of the boat, yeah. Oh, that's funny, man. Like, you know, it was, it's the worst. It's the worst. It's terrible. Yeah. P1 Michelle. Hello? Are you, are you there? Yeah. What did your friend do? Well, I was a senior in high school and my friend was spending the night. Yeah. I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and she's gone. I can't find her anywhere. I'm looking all over my house. I look in every room. I look outside on my deck and I can't find her. Finally, I look in my dad's room and she crawled into bed with my dad. And was she sleeping? Just like out sleeping?
She's totally out. I, like, get her up, and she's still asleep, and I put her back in my room still asleep. She didn't even know it happened until the next morning. How old was she? Oh, my God. We were 17. Oh, yeah, that's not good. Was your dad pretty stoked? Yeah. Oh, you know. Wow. All right, Michelle, thanks for the call. Bye-bye. So there it is. These are not good things to do while you're sleeping. Crazy. Sky drinking juice. What if it wasn't juice? Oh. Who knows? Who knows what could happen. So I want to say, I don't know enough about this sleepwalking thing to know if you know what you're doing enough to not do something dangerous, you know? Because that can get dangerous. 5701053 is our phone number. And our text number is 35253. Eddie, if we're going to do DCC, the Dumb Chick Challenge, should we take a break right now? No, you should do it right now. We should do it now? Yeah. Let's do a little Dumb Chick. Oh, great. Yes. Let's do it. Ash, you feeling it? The Mikey Show presents... Yeah, there you go. Sounds like confidence. All right, let's do it up. It's the Dumb Chick Challenge. This is... It's a game of Acumen. How much do you know? How much do you know? As you listen in your car, ask yourself, do I know the answers to these questions? Well, I don't know what Acumen means, so that's a bad sign. This is not good. Eddie, would you call these questions...
Very difficult questions. I would say the exact opposite of that, Mike. I see. One-pointers can really sneak up on you, too. They can. Sometimes they're strict. The Mikey Show Dumb Chicks are Sky, Ashley, and Boston Rob. And the point is they try to get the five points. They can accumulate those points by picking one, two, or three-point questions. It could be as easy as answering two questions. Yeah. Give me a three. Give me a two. Over. That's a great strategy. Or they could take the more safe route and say, give me five one-point questions. I'll tell you, half the time that would work. So what you do is call us right now, 570-1053, and pick the person you think will do the best, and they could win you a prize. Eddie, what's a prize? I think we got tickets to see Gary Hoey when he comes to town. Look at that. P1 Amanda, who you want? There you go. What up, girl?
Good choice. Hang on. P1 Greg, who do you want? I'll take Ashley. Wow. How far has Boston Rob slayed? I mean, it is. Talk about a fall from grace. Wow. From the penthouse to the outhouse. This kid, he used to be the most picked person on Dumb Chick Challenge. Not anymore. Not anymore. No. He simply has fallen. Fall from grace. That's right. P1 Squeaks. That's me. You get Boston Rob. Hang on the line. Good. Rob, how are you feeling? What do you think? Today? Will you do well in the DCC? No way. Not today, dude. He says no. He's not feeling it. What's making you feel so dumb? Back of rest. Okay. Back of being able to watch any history channels. I see. Oh, jeez. All right. Well, let's give it a shot. That's why I learned all my stuff. Eddie, where do I start? I think Sky starts this week. Okay. All right. Sky, you're up. Would you like your usual?
Two-point question. Ash is already playing with her bangs. Oh, no. That's never a good sign when Ash is playing with her bangs. Make sure the swoop is just right. Yeah, she's got that swoop on her bangs just right. Just focus on the game. I know it. I know it. Skye has a system. She goes 2.2.1. Yes. 2.2.1 points. Yes, I do mine. But then she never stays with that strategy. I do sometimes, and I sometimes win, so stop. Skye, what are you going to do this time? I'm going to do my strategy. Two-point. All right, here we go. Sky, your two-point question is, this kind of dance originated in Europe in the 17th century, but by about 1815, it became the most popular dance in the ballrooms of Europe. What is it? Wow, Sky is a dancer. That's right. Watches Dancing with the Stars. That's right. This is right up her alley, guys. That's right. Okay, give me the years again. All right. I need the years. Cabbage patch. Shut up. This kind of dance originated in Europe in the 17th century, but by 1815... It became the most popular dance in the ballrooms of Europe. What is it? The robot. The man dance. I'm going to say the waltz. You are correct. Sky is on the bizzo. Put it on the board. Already?
You're kicking butt, Sky. Thank you. Sky is now pretty much the most requested person. She's the first to go. Yeah. Let's just not jinx me, please. That's right. Once we get to the one-pointers is where things go awry. Shut up. The wheels come off. So rude. Ashley's looking at Eddie. What do I do? She's doing hand signals. It's like the first base coach is communicating with the pitcher. Ash, can you hear me? It's like the catcher's communicating with a pitcher. Looking at the hand signals. We're having a disagreement. A disagreement? Yeah, Ash wants to go one way. I believe in her. Eddie wants her to go another. All right, well, I'm going to go with my base coat and give me a two. Give you a two. A two-pointer. You're good. You're good. Ashley. This comedian became known as Mr. Television. After becoming the first major TV star. Who is it? Ashley. James Van Der Beek. That would be so wrong because he is not very old. He's a young man. Mike Al Roker. I don't understand the question. Can you answer that? No problem. No, I just want to make sure that I understand the question before I answer it. Okay.
Ashley, this comedian became known as Mr. Television after becoming the first major TV star. Who is it? Mr. Belvedere? Richard Pryor. Oh, wow. That is a heck of a guess. That's a heck of a guess. No, Ashley, it was not Richard Pryor. I mean, two buzzers on that. No, Ashley. No, no. The first television star? No. Ashley, it was Milton Berle. It was Milton Berle. Oh, Ashley just smiled and blinked. Great board games. Smiled and blinked. Who is that? Don't even... Rob, what would you like? Oh, look at this guy. A one, a two, or a three-point question? Remember, Skye's on the board with two points. I quit. No, Ashley. You can't quit. Yeah, I do. I'm out. I come in second then. Give me a three. No. You're so tired. Bad move, Rob. What is he doing? I'm an idiot. Horrible move. Why don't I just lose? Rob, this is a history question. That's his 14. You can do it, buddy. We'll see. Rob, what U.S. president was the first to speak on television? Television. Milton Perle.
You just heard it. I already forgot it. Lay off me, Eddie. Rob, you can do it. The first U.S. president to speak on television. Richard Pryor. Oh. Richard Pryor. Was it Truman? No. No, Rob, it was not. Lincoln. Lincoln. What'd I do? What's your problem? That's a good guess. It was Lincoln. I knew it. No, it wasn't. No, I was kidding, Ash. It was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Are you for real? He spoke at the opening session of the New York World's Fair, April 30th, 1939. Oh, wow. TV came out in the 30s? That's right. I thought it was like 57. No, no, no. Oh, man, this is bad. Skye, you could end the game with a three-point. She's banging her head against the microphone. She's banging her head against the microphone. You could set a record. Skye, you could set a record by taking a three-point question. I will take a two-point. Okay, well. Skye? Yeah? What entertainer was known as the chairman of the board?
Oh, immediate scow. Immediate like, what? Face fell. She was smiling. Then the face fell. The chairman of what board? The chairman of what board? The board that we put it on. There's a squint going on. Like I don't get a year or a... Like anything? No, because he's very famous. He's the chairman of the board. Yes, Richard Pryor. Standard answer, right? Let's see. Donald Trump. Okay, read the question one more time. What entertainer was the chairman of the board? No hints. There's no hints in there. You can do this. Who was the chairman of the board? Entertainer. Did he make the iPhone? Steve Wozniak. I'm going to say... Jeff Probst, Mike. I'm going to say Frank Sinatra. You are correct, Sky. How did you know that? Sky, you are correct. I was trying to think of two big wigs in entertainment, and I kept thinking, okay, Johnny Carson, Johnny Carson. But then I was like, well, an entertainer could also be a singer. What the...
So I almost said seal. Well, I knew it had to be somewhat old school. How did you do that? I need to buy a lottery ticket today. That's right. I'm in shock. Sky, you got four points. You got four points. Sky's one point away from slaughtering you two. But then I was thinking, but I almost didn't say Frank Sinatra because isn't he like Johnny Blue Eyes or something? Yes, he is also known as Johnny Blue Eyes. So I'm like, I can't have... Frankie two times. Yes. Cheer me to what board? I don't know. Wally walnuts. That's right. You girls. Ashley. What? Come on. Don't do that. You can do this, Ash. Richard Pryor. A one, a two, or a three-point question, Ashley. Come on. She's pretending to throw up. Come on. You can do it, Ash. Don't be that way. It's the greatest comeback in the history of this game. Ever. Ashley, all I want you to do is... I know you're down and out right now, but I want you to say... It does nothing for me, Mike. Say, you guys believe in me. I believe in me. I can do this. Put a little lollipop. That'll get me in the mood, but this doesn't do crap. It's motivational. It's inspiring. A little Wayne up there. Maybe I'll get in zone. You can do it, Ash.
All right, fine. I'll give you some Lil Wayne if it'll inspire you. Look at that, Ash. What do you think now? Now it's turning around, ain't it? So I let her lick the wrapper. I'll take a three. There you go, Ashley. What? That's what we're looking for. She's inspired. This is bad. Awesome. I just got clarity. Clarity. Nice. Here's your three-point question. Ash, what's the astronomical name for either of two times of the year when the sun... is at its greatest distance from the equator. Big smile. She's got a big smile. She's got this. I totally know this. She knows it. She's got her chest puffed out. She does know this. She is leaning forward now with a smile. Richard Pryor. Eyes are big. Come on, Ash. I totally know this. Say it one more time just so I make sure I understand. Ash, what's the astronomical name?
For either of two times of the year when the sun is at its greatest distance from the equator. Yeah, and it happens in June and December. It's the June. Ash, what is it? And the December, it's the solar eclipse. Solar, solstice, solar. What is your final answer? The solar eclipse. No, actually, it's the solstice. It's the solstice. It's just, it's the salt. That's brutal. You had it. You were two milliseconds away from your three-point question. It's the solstice. It is the solstice. You said the eclipse. I learned it in my geography class when I was upstate. When you were upstate?
Boston, Rob. Or geology. What do you want? A one, two, or a three-point question. Astrology? No, it's genealogy. I learned it in the genealogy class. Give me a one. I learned about weather. Rob. I didn't even know if I did this correct. Rob, what does the DC stand for in District of Columbia? Wait. Wait. Esther is my mother. Esther is my mother. Esther is my mother. Esther is my mother. Yes, one point. It may be another question. I just gave the answer away in the question. I apologize. Here is your one point question, Rob. The scientific study of life is known as what? I think it's biology. I'm going to go with that. You are correct, Rob. Hopefully I took that one away from Sky. Folks, the score is four to one, Sky. Burn it up the ones. Ashley should have three points. Ashley should have three points. She should have. She should have had three points. Sky. What up? Your one point question is. Thank you. Make it an easy one. The tusk of an elephant is made up of what substance?
Why is Eddie looking at me like that? What does that look say? I like to try to throw her off like it's hard. Skye? It is made of ivory. You got it. Skye is dominating. I feel better. That's a good way to look at it. No, because if not, then I'll never let this go. That's right. So that's how I look at it. Look at it that way. Good looking out, kid. P1 Amanda. Amanda, are you still with us? Oh, Amanda. Amanda! Sky one for Amanda. Way to go, Squy. Do not go away. Skye, why did a guy in Nebraska perform tracheotomy surgery on himself? Well, I guess he woke up the other night and he couldn't breathe. And he had been treated for throat cancer several years ago. So he's had issues with breathing problems and being treated for breathing problems and different things like that. So he woke up and his air passage was so swollen shut that he felt... that by the time he dialed 911 and tried to explain to them without practically breathing what's going on, that by the time help got there, he would be dead. So he ran into his kitchen, grabbed a steak knife, and jammed it into his neck and gave himself a tracheotomy. Now, wait a minute. Now, question. When you give a tracheotomy, the way that I understand it is, you make the incision, but then don't you need to like... Put something in there that will allow you to breathe. Yeah, he said, here's his quote. Quote, I got a knife and located it, which I believe is like trachea. Yeah, trachea. I located it and pushed in. Oh. And blood went gush. Blood was gushing out, but air was rushing in.
So I don't know if the steak knife was enough. I don't know if he pulled it to the side. I would not want to do that. I don't know. I'm just trying to figure out. I would not want to do that. He clipped his fingers on either side and just... Thank you. That'll do. That's just perfect. That's quite enough with that story. Yikes. He's fine. That oogs me. O-O-G's me. David Archuleta. Didn't he play, wasn't he a free safety for the St. Louis Rams for a while? That is Adam Archuleta. I see. Adam Archuleta. Okay. Close. Well, I'm sure they have the same build and talent in both areas. A little different. Adam Archuleta is one of the remaining contestants. One of the three. David Archuleta. Yes. Did I say Adam? Yes. What I meant to say was. You're confusing yourself. No, no, no. What I meant was Bartholomew Archuleta. Now, David is one of the three guys left on American Idol. Odds on favorite. He's odds on favorite. And it turns out that his dad is one of these showbiz dads. Stage dad. Stage dad. And he's kind of become a story all of his own, his dad. Oh, yeah. Because he's so involved. And he's all over his son, right? Mm-hmm.
So what's the latest guy? Well, the latest is that he has been banned from rehearsals and backstage at American Idol. I mean, because his son's 17. So, you know, technically a minor. But this guy from, you know, reports we've been hearing from day one of American Idol is that this guy is so overbearing. He's involved in everything. So the producers have kind of always been out on him. But the final straw was when he requested last week for his son. who was singing Stand By Me, to add a little hook in there from Sean Kingston's Beautiful Girls. And American Idol said, no, you cannot do that because then we'll have to pay royalties on two songs. and we only want to pay royalties on one song, so no, you're not allowed to do that. Well, David Archuleta got up there and performed and did it anyways. No! Oh, that's not good. So I guess, according to the Idol producers, they're blaming that on his father, and his father has been banned. His father can sit in the audience and watch the show, but that's about it. That's crazy! You know, the producers of the show could have, if they chose, have not aired that performance. Yep.
They could have broken away on the East Coast. They could have broken away and gone to commercial when he did that if they chose to. And they could have edited it for the West Coast. Very easy for them to do. And they chose not to. They chose to let him do the entire performance. They should have made the dad pay the royalties. They said it's documented because it was, I guess, in emails saying, no, you're not allowed to use that. Yeah, they could do that. Or they could have very easily aired the performance on the East Coast, not aired the performance on the West Coast. And then he would have had to not, you know, he would have either not gotten votes on the West Coast for it not airing. Yeah. But I mean. Or disqualified that song completely. Yeah. Or disqualified it. They took the high road. Yeah, well, because he's the best singer in the competition. So Idol doesn't want to lose him, but they want to blame somebody. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Well, it's a story this morning on the Today Show. Is there trouble behind the scenes on American Idol? Some people are calling the father of one of the final three the stage dad from hell. Here's NBC's Martin Savage. Wow, they're showing a girl with braces wiping tears away like it's 1967 and the Beatles are walking off the plane.
Onstage performance wowed. Fans of the hometown high school Friday. They pan over and they're, I am doing the exact same thing. It's also impressed American Idol's judges. I thought you were amazing. But it's the backstage antics of David's death. Wait a second. You're telling me that Tinelli from... Yes, Paul Tinelli. You're telling me that Paul Tinelli from Lamont and Tinelli is his father? Yep. I had no idea. I mean, I'm looking at him right now. I didn't even know he had kids. I'm looking at his father right now, and it's Paul Tinelli from Lamont and Tinelli. It's true. My goodness. Jeff Archuleta. That's been a source of growing concern. Last Tuesday, the senior Archuleta reportedly insisted on changing his son's song, Stand By Me. adding a verse from another song, Sean Kingston's Beautiful Girls. That cost the show money since it had to pay the rights for both. For idol producers, it was the last straw. Now show sources say Jeff Archuleta can no longer join his son behind the scenes. The question is, will that help or hurt the 17-year-old's chances? Before we go on, I wonder if there's a way for his dad.
to spin it this way, or if this will be a way that it does get spun. Do you think that anybody will try to spin it and say, oh, because American Idol is so broke, they couldn't afford to pay the... That's what I'm thinking. Yeah? Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe that's a real thing. Yeah, but I mean, why would anyone for a minute believe that he has any say in how American Idol spends their money? Like, yeah, they're not poor, but he's not a decision maker. He doesn't get to make that say. Like, should I be able to make that say? Totally. But do you think it could be potentially something that makes American Idol look like total jerks? Yeah, for sure. My only thing is if I was American Idol, that wouldn't have been my argument. My argument would have been, look, the rules were you were supposed to do songs from a certain artist in the Hall of Fame. That was last week. Sean Kingston isn't in the Hall of Fame. Right. So that song should be disqualified for that reason. Yeah.
You broke the rules. You went out of the genre. And couldn't you also say as a producer, couldn't you go, hey, it doesn't make it fair for everyone else. Right. You're adding lyrics that don't belong into this song, and that's not fair. To make it like a money thing to me, that's cheap. Yeah, because you think to yourself, well, what are they, greedy? It's a number one show. I mean, you're getting millions of dollars from advertisers. It's like, give me a break. You can afford royalties. ...swirled that the older Archuleta often berated and bullied his son to the point of distraction and tears, earning him the title Daddy Dearest. It's a title Jeff strongly denies, telling Us Magazine recently, there is no truth to stories about me yelling at David, making him cry, or withholding water from him. Withholding water from him? What is that about? What? Come on. Who would do that? But Naomi Judd, who was a judge on Star Search, where David previously competed, well remembers his dad. Star Search? Yeah, he was on Star Search. The junior edition. Oh, the junior edition? Yeah, something like that. I was going to say, well, I'd rather talk to Arsenio Hall personally than Naomi Judd if we're going to talk about this. His dad is like the worst stage dad. Uh-oh.
But with Idol's ratings taking a dip this season, some suggest instead of banning him from backstage, producers might want to put Jeff in front of the camera. There's no question all of this adds to the show's drama, which tends to bring in viewers and sympathy for the young star. That's good for the show, good for the team, which could boost his chances of winning. All made possible, thanks to dear old Dad. For dear old dad. Dear old dad. That's something sinister is working behind the minds of the producers of American Idol. So 5701053. You have one of these dads or one of these moms. 5701053. Our text number is 35253. Are you one of these dads or one of these moms? And, you know, a stage dad, you know. The idea doesn't have to be specific to just people that are on stage. It could be Little League. Are you one of these dads that's just screaming at your kid during Little League? The answer cannot be, fellas. I got to tell you, the answer cannot be, I do it because my dad did it to me. It just can't be that. Because that doesn't mean that it isn't affecting the kid. You can't go, well, I turned out normal. Well, no, you didn't. You're yelling at your kid.
You just see it as normal because it's the only thing you knew, but that don't make it okay. These yelling at the kids or... I don't know. What could it be for a chick, Skye? Like if you're a pageant girl, like I had a friend who was in pageants and her mom, you know, it was weird because, you know, she was a very thin girl, but, you know, it was obvious her mom was trying to live vicariously through her. Her mom was an overweight woman and just, I mean, was like a Nazi about everything this girl ate, you know, to the point where it gave her, you know, issues later down the line. Did it really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, dude, that's brutal. She grew up in the pageant system, and it was obvious her mom was just trying to live through her. It's like, leave her alone. Let her be a little girl, please. 570-1053, text number 35253. Have you seen or had an experience with a dad like this? Maybe you've witnessed it. You've seen it go on. 570-1053, P1 Ponce. What up, Mikey? How's it going?
It's going good, dude. What's up? I wrestled in high school, and we had these guys on our team, the Mosley brothers, and they were one and two in the country in their weight class. And they would just tear up anybody in CIF, and their dad wouldn't let them pin their opponent until they had a 15-point lead. Really? And would, like, scream and yell at them if they weren't beating somebody as bad as he knows they could. Yeah. He would, like... be at practice, and our coach would be running practice, and he would be running his own son's practice. That's awful. Now, the coach couldn't do anything about that? No, because these guys were killing it for us. Yeah. So the coach was like, hey, I'm not going to mess with something that's working. Our coach went on vacation and let this guy run practice, and I almost quit. I would have. That's crazy. That is brutal. But have a good morning, guys. All right, thanks, man. Yeah, 570-1053 is the number. Do you know anybody who is one of these stage that stage moms, whatever, maybe you are, maybe you, in fact, maybe you're hearing this and you're going, okay, that's me. Yeah. But I have the explanation. I'd love to hear it. Listen, I don't know that there is one, but you're welcome to call us 570-1053. Because I think it's bad for the kid, man. Could be bad for the kid. P1 Andy. Yes. Go ahead.
Hey, how you doing? Yeah, my name is P1 Andy. I work here at MCAS Millmore. I see that stuff all the time. I'm a coach for four- and five-year-olds, anywhere from soccer to t-ball. And, yeah, I see parents yelling and screaming at their kids. And, you know, it gets real frustrating because then the kids clam up and I can't get through to them and they're not having fun at that point. Tears the little kids down because they don't, they don't, if the dad is doing it. And the dad's excuse is, well, I just want him to be the best he can be. What you don't realize is you're making him to be the worst that he can be. Exactly. And at that point, like I said, the kids ain't having fun. I've even had some coaches try to yell at my own child just because he's within that age group. And they're like, well, he's being too rough. And I'm like, hey, you know, let me do the coaching. That's what I'm out here for. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, parents can get pretty crazy. Yeah. Thank you for the call. All right. Have a good day. Yeah. Appreciate it. P1 Nerdling. Hi, P1 Nerdling here. This is P1 Nerd Sibling. Greetings. Yes, P1 Nerdling. Who is this? Stop it. No, it's P1 Nerdling. Greetings. Be cool. Go ahead. We play tennis. We grew up on a tennis court. And we had a friend. I have a friend. There's three of them.
three friends, and their dad's a tennis instructor. And if they didn't play good or practice good that day, they would actually get hit with a tennis racket by their father. Oh, come on. Now, see, that's just flat-out abuse. Yeah, but that's how it was on the tennis court. And if they, you know, all the dads would have their kid, hey, challenge my kid, and she would have the best kid who lost that day. And it sucked if you lost because then... You brought shame and blah, blah, blah. Yeah, yeah. That's child abuse, though. You get in trouble for that. I know, but that's how it was on the court. Thank you, Nerdline. Hey, Mike. Hey, real quick, dude. I was just talking with this girl that's on the line. She was calling in for the stage dad stuff, and I got to talking to her about her dad. And I'm not going to tell you. I want her to tell you. I told her to explain the whole situation. What line? It's right up there on the screen. I got it. Right up on 6. You're not going to believe what she was just telling me. P1, Carrie? Yes, hi. What are you telling Rob? Yeah. Well, I've got like a serious problem, you guys. I mean, and you guys are talking about like parents and like bitter nightmares and stuff. Well, mine is completely being a nightmare right now.
Because I'm going, it's about to be my prom, and everybody knows, like, the prom is, like, the most important time of high school. And you talk about the prom, like, the rest of your life. I mean, people are always like, oh, what'd you do for your prom and stuff like that. Well, I have been planning my prom, I swear, since I was, like, in junior high. Like, I've been always looking at prom. Oh, my God. I get that. Tuddle the hills. Tuddle the hills. Tuddle the hills. I get that. No, it's a big deal. Yes, yes. Where do you go to school? Well, I really don't want to say. I'd rather not say it. That's okay. All right. No pressure. I'm finally here, and I found, like, the perfect prom desk, and I talked to my dad, and he figured out that my budget for my prom, and this is, like, seriously ridiculous, my budget for my prom can only be $3,000. Holy cow. Did you say that it can only be? Yes, and there's no way that, like, I can have a serious prom night with that. What are you talking about? Are you going to Hawaii? I'm sitting here with my eyes are the size of saucers. $3,000? Oh, man. I don't know. I spent $1,000 alone on my outfit alone when I was.
When I went to junior prom and times are changing, I know things are more expensive now, so maybe that's not so crazy. $3,000? I don't know. Is that crazy? That's crazy. I don't know. That's a bit excessive. That's crazy. What is she going to buy? She only knows what I'm talking about because... The dress is like $400. The prom dress is going to be, you know, over $1,000. Oh, over $1,000. Okay. Zeth doesn't make that in a year. I have a question. I have a question. And I mean this as a genuine question. I'm not just saying it like I'm trying to use a figure of speech here. Genuine question. Am I getting old? Or is that crazy? That seems crazy to me. What's the right answer to the question? Am I getting old or is that crazy? No, because, well, first of all, you guys are guys. Like, guys just have to slap on, you know, some tucks and they're done. But, like, girls, I mean, it is 2008, and, like, prom dresses are totally expensive if you want to get one that's decent. I mean, the lady that was talking before, yeah, she paid $1,000 for her dress, and that's, like, that's the bottom line now. No. Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, Carrie, hang on a second. Pause just one moment. Where are you shopping? Eddie?
I want to ask you a question. I can't handle this, Mike. I have a question for you. What? You know how Skye and her husband go eat dinner at 5 o'clock because that's happy hour and they can split appetizers? Yes, I do know that. Do you think that Skye would accept a $3,000 budget for her daughter to go to the prom? Kidding me. What would Skye set the budget at? That kid would be wearing one of Skye's dresses for prom. Skye will make her a dress. Skye, what went to your mind when you heard P1 Carrie? Carrie, how old are you? I'm 17. Skye, what would you do? What would you set your 17-year-old daughter's prom budget at? Gosh, I would say... $300. Hey, Carrie. Hey, Carrie. How does $300 sound? Because first of all...
If my daughter, you know, is a senior, she's working as well as going to school. She has a job. You know what I mean? She's, like, working on the weekends. Yeah, I paid for my own job. Yeah, see, I paid for my own job. Yeah, I paid for my kids. I had three jobs. Yeah, like, my parents paid for my dress, but everything else, like, if I wanted limo, if I wanted, you know, other stuff. Yeah, what do you want to spend the money on? Well, okay, first of all, like, my dress, like I said, is over $1,000. And then we're going to get... Me and all my friends have planned to get a Hummer because nobody really gets limos anymore. Holy cow. You can't. Well, you can't. Are you talking like those Hummer limos? What? Are you talking those Hummer limos? Yeah, that's what everybody likes to get now because you can put more people in. Dude, you know what those things run. Oh, yeah. Per hour? Yeah, well, I don't know, but that's what we want to get is like a Hummer limo. Okay, well, no. Okay. After, yeah. So after the Hummer limo, we also decided that our senior class wanted to rent out, you know, this restaurant. Who rent out a restaurant? Okay. Nice. Carrie. Dude, this is crazy. That's crazy. Crazy. Are you rich? It doesn't matter. What are your friends' budgets? Yeah, what is your friends' budgets? Most of them do have budgets, like, that are over $3,000.
I'm stunned. I'm stunned. I'm speechless. Wait, wait, wait. Like, my two best friends, their parents were talking about, like, at least 4,000. And then I wanted Fall Out Boy to be my date. And I was all, and she was all, but you didn't even know. And I was all, oh, my gosh. And you were like, oh, my gosh. And then I was all, Jay-Z, can you write a song for me? P1 Alex, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, man. Go ahead. Hey, does this girl think she's on a MTV show, My Sweet Prom, or what? Seriously, man. Carrie, do you think that you're on My Sweet Prom? Clearly. You guys know. I mean, this is like what everybody does now. Really? It is not. Everybody does that, Mike. Everybody does? No. Eddie, are you saying everybody does? No way. No way, Jose. Mikey. Yes? Whatever happened to the guy paying for the dinner? I mean, she should only get away with paying, what, $800? $800. I mean, I guess. I guess that's a lot of dough. $800, man. I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what? He brings up a great point. Now I want to think. What do I think is appropriate? Yeah.
What do I think is an appropriate amount? $300, Mike. I'm not joking. I got my wedding dress for like $800, okay? So for a prom, give me a break. I agree with Sky, though, that, you know, sweetie on the phone, if you want more stuff, then maybe you should get a job, honey, because I paid for my $1,000 prom dress, okay? Sweetie and honey, 30 seconds. Sweetie and honey, 30 seconds. Maybe you should get a second job to get your budget. What are you working? I'm not asking for this every weekend. What do you do? Tell me what you do, Carrie. Where do you work? What do you do? Well, I don't want to say either because I don't want somebody to come stalk me. Alright, alright. Because I'm perfect. I'm a scooper at Maggie Moo's, okay? Well, see, dude, now, wait, wait, wait. All these people are calling in now, and so, I don't want to, we got to take a break, but I don't, Carrie, will you hang on? Will you hang on? I'll give you a prize if you hang on. Will you hang on? Like a prize is worth anything to her. Yeah, I know. She's going to be like, what do you have to offer? What do you have, like a Rolex? What's up? I mean, are you going to give me P. Diddy, then goodbye. Please, Carrie, hang on, okay? Will you hang on? Hang on.

Tecate Light, the number one cerveza light in Mexico, is now available here in the United States. To ensure that Tecate Light remains true to its Mexican cerveza roots, we will not refer to Tecate Light as light b****. We feel its Mexican flavor and attitude are much too bold to be referred to as an ordinary light b****. In fact, to our censors, b**** is a four-letter word. They didn't even allow b**** to be mentioned in the same commercial as Tecate Light. Not even to explain the difference between b**** and cerveza. So as you can hear, all references to b**** have been censored for your protection in order to avoid any unintended association between light b****.

Now some you might have missed. Guy, what do you think your mom would say to the question, what is the best present you ever gave her? I'm torn between two answers. One is this like emerald. And gold. Mom, are you laughing at that? How dare you, Mom? Some of the homegrown? Anyway, all of you, I'm torn between two answers. One is an emerald necklace I gave her, and then the other one... It was made of pure emerald. It was made from the bones of a leprechaun. Now back to the Mikey Show. Rock.
105.3. It's a Mikey show. It's 839. A man was shot six times outside Aubergine nightclub this weekend after getting into a fight in the club. This may be one of the signs of the apocalypse. The Padres have won two in a row, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, my. They beat Colorado 6-1 yesterday. We just got a call from a 17-year-old girl that doesn't want to tell us where she goes to high school. Her name's Carrie. Turn it off. Stop playing. I made you stop and you kept playing. Why did you keep playing? It's just a button. We got a call from this girl, Carrie. She's 17. And this girl said that her dad would only give her a $3,000 budget for prom. She's upset. That jerk. Carrie, you there? Yeah. We should move out. Dude. I'd be so mad. $3,000. Carrie.
Quickly, what are you going to spend the money on? What do you need three grand for? Well, first of all, my dress is way over $1,000. Yeah, and for the record, I just went on Macy's.com. Oh, she would never go to Macy's Sky. Why? What's wrong with Macy's? Sky. What's wrong with Macy's? Check Saks Fifth Avenue. We're so sorry, Carrie. Please don't hang up on us. Wait, wait, wait. Time out. In all seriousness. In all seriousness. Sky. I have a question. Hang on, hang on. Wouldn't Nordstrom be like the... That would be where... It's all right. Nordstrom would be okay. Hey, don't you think... No, no, no. That's what I'm saying. Don't you think that most chicks would want to start? If they're going to get a department store dress, they would want to start at Nordstrom. Well, I think people with a good amount of money would want that. Is that the deal? I think people that have a normal size... Eddie, what's wrong with... That's what I'm saying. You've got to understand. Okay, I have a question. Yes. With the average San Diegan mother that says, I want to spend a good amount of money putting a budget into my daughter's dress. And I'm telling you that I don't know this. I'm just saying.
would it Nordstrom be the gold standard? Neiman Marcus? What's that? Now, see, Neiman Marcus to me is like... Bloomingdale's. You're like getting high up. Knock, knock. High end. Knock, knock. Bloomingdale's, you there? A normal person, yes, Sky. Macy's is normal for this. Is it, Eddie? For a normal girl. I don't think so, because I'm a normal girl, and when it was my prom, I went to San Francisco, to Saks, Fifth Avenue to get high dress. Really? Maybe that's a deal. Like, I don't know, man. I don't know. But this kid is saying. Macy's has some beautiful stuff starting at about $125. Oh, my gosh. I saw a gorgeous dress for $230 on their website. Gorgeous. Carrie just threw up on the phone. Carrie, what would you think of going to Macy's and getting this $230 dress? Calvin Klein. Yeah, and then, like, everybody else will show up in the same dress. So true. She makes a great point. If you go to Macy's for a dress for, like, somebody's wedding, but not for a prom, because then, like, you're going to show up and dress somebody else. And that's horrific. You do not want to show up in the same dress of another girl. It'd be awful, right? Oh, I mean, it ruins your entire life. It ruins your life. It ruins your life. It does. It will ruin your life. P1 Bad Johnson? Yep. Go ahead. Go ahead.
Yeah, this girl doesn't even know how lucky she is, dude. What are you talking about? If I had three grand for my prom, oh, my God, I could do some stuff. Yeah. Maybe had, like, 300 bucks to do everything with. Well, but all you have to do is rent a tux, bro. It's different for the girl. Well, but why does the girl have to pay for the limo and pay to rent out the restaurant and pay for the hotel? Like, don't the guys share in some of that cost, too? Well, does she have any idea how lucky she is in life? Yeah, we'll get her a corsage. I mean. Guys, if I had to, you know, now I'll tell you this before I even start out. We, Rebecca and I took this course, a six week course at the Rock Church on finances. And the whole deal was, how does God want you to spend your money? What's the Bible say about spending your money? How do you spend your money? What does it go to? What did you do with it? And all that stuff. And we drastically changed our lives after we learned how God wanted us to spend our dough, right?
So I'm thinking to myself, one thing that obviously wasn't in our budget, which, by the way, we didn't really have a budget. We put one together after we took the course. But I'm sitting here right now and I'm thinking to myself, what would an appropriate budget for us? And you guys know, this is my point of view. What would our budget be for Jake if he was 17 going to a prom? I'm sitting here thinking about it. Now, you know me. I spend my wife much more responsible than I am. wholly irresponsible. I don't know. But I would say to Rebecca, if we're talking about his tux, his corsage, if we were talking about transportation, if we're talking about... After party. Restaurant. Restaurant, all that. Hotel. I think that it would be appropriate to say. That's what they do, man. That's what's going on, man. Well, yeah, I mean, I don't want him spending the night at a hotel with a girl. Oh, you, bro. No, no, no. No, no, no. Sorry. Okay, that's another conversation. Oh, boy, here we go. Are you guys kidding me? Every other parent said it was okay. You would not get your daughter a hotel room that night. I would not pay for it. No. No, you would not let her.
She's going to have sexual... That's for me and all my friends. Dude, she's boning a guy. That's for me and all my friends. Skye, she's having sex in a hotel room. They're all high-fiving. What is going on? You're an uncool dad. Carrie, are you getting a hotel room that night? Yes. No! That's what they do. That's what you do. They all do. That's what you do. Well, I'm speechless now. Carrie, are you going to have sex in that hotel room? No, no, no. What do you think you're kidding me? I'm freaking out. Talk to me. Talk to me. Talk me down. I sleep with 200 guys because I like sex. They're not necessarily going to have sex. What are they going to do? They get a bunch of friends in there and they party in the hotel room. I don't mind them partying. So we drink and get drugs all night long. First of all, hang on. I don't mind the kids having a good time.
I don't mind the kids having a good time. That's all it is. I don't think they need to be spending the night. How are they going to get home? You going to go pick them up at 10 in the morning? Dude, I absolutely will rather than having them spend the night. You're going to be the dorky dad in the robe and the slippers. You guys, are we stupid? Are we stupid? They're going to be boning. No, they're not. I did it. Are you kidding me? You guys know they're doing it. Yeah, I passed out on the couch at like 3 a.m. with the rest of us. Sky, tell me what is happening in your head. Nothing, nothing. Speak to me, speak to me. I'm just listening to the show. Sky, you're not. You're thinking stuff. Oh, hey. Did you and Ducky get it on? Ducky? Oh, yeah. Ducky. Did you go out with Ducky from... You know, it hurts, but it feels so good. The long duck donger? Sky. What's up? Eddie. That's what they call them in the movie, Sean. Dude, you're not letting your kids spend the night at a hotel. You know, your daughter. You're going to get a hotel room for your daughter? I'm not going to pay. Like, Sky, I wouldn't pay for a hotel room. If I felt comfortable with her friends and knowing exactly what was going on, I don't know. I would have to investigate really into what was going on and I'll see what the deal is. But you know what's going on. You've got hormones. I don't know any of this. You have hormones. My friend actually says she didn't do anything on her bra.
I don't know any of this. You didn't. You didn't. I went to junior prom and senior. And she's a freak. I went to junior prom. I went to junior prom and senior prom, both my junior and senior year. And we would always rent the hotel room and do the big party. And I wasn't even that big of a partier yet at that point. And you weren't sleeping with your prom date. No, I wasn't. Maybe then I need to lighten up. I wasn't doing anything. Maybe I need to lighten up. But that scares me. I had a couple beverages, but that was it. You know what I mean? I know what dudes want to do. I wanted to do it too. So if a parent, if a kid says, hey, can I have a hotel room for the night? My instant thought is, well, prom night, you do it. Sky. What's up? Sky, did you do it on your prom night? I would rather not answer that question. Then you don't need to. Then you don't need to. Because I believe. That's nice. To each their own. I mean, uh. Hello. What? There's the woman I'm sexually attracted to. T1 Holly's on the line. Hi. Hi. So I went as a senior last year, and I went to prom, and just, like, this girl's budget is insane. My, I mean, I found a dress that I thought was perfect, and it was $300, and my mom said if I wanted it, I had to pay half. Carrie? And, like, I couldn't even, we didn't, couldn't afford a limo or anything. We went to my friend's Ford Explorer, and we had a blast. Carrie? Yeah? Go ahead. What do you think of that? Well, I mean, that's fine if that's what, you know, she wants to do, but, like, I'm not, this is not.
I mean, if you're a poor, that's cool. You know, like if you go to school and like your backpack is a stick with a bandana tied on the end of it and like all of your belongings inside of it, then yeah. Like if you're on welfare, it's all good. Yeah, I mean, pretty much if you buy milk with food stamps because you're so poor that you have to go to the Explorer, then that's your deal. I mean, that's your deal. That's your thing. Yeah, I mean, like my family's not like a super poor family. I mean, we're well off. We're not really rich. Yeah, I mean, apparently you're living in a cardboard box. Wow. They're not going to pay that much for something that... Of course, and you don't need to. It's not necessary. It's not necessary. You had a great time. That's all that matters. That was the best prom ever. Was it the prom? Was it the prom? It was the prom. It was the prom. P1 Mark. Hey, how's it going? I'm 18, and I'm going to my prom in a couple weeks. Yeah. And I'm just curious. Like, I'm pretty sure I have a good idea where this girl goes to school because I deal with girls like this all the time. Where do you think she won't tell us where she goes? So where do you think she goes? Mikey, I got it. I got it. It's either Bishops, La Jolla Country Day, Torrey Pines. That's exactly what my boyfriend texted me during break. That she goes to La Jolla. First thing I thought was Country Day.
See, I have, like, a big limo group going, and we're all, like, we're doing a really nice limo, too. It's like one of those Harmer busts. It's a bust limo. So it's even more baller than what you're doing, Carrie. I'm sorry. Oh, snap. In your face. In your face. Wow. It takes brass balls. Look, it's only costing me, like, 45 bucks, but I'm also paying for my date. So, Carrie, I'm just wondering, what are you, like, where does your date tie into all this? Like, he's not paying for anything? It should really only cost you, like, let's see, if you're going to get, like, a Dolce & Gabbana Gucci dress, that's going to cost you, like, what, $800? Like, I don't see it. Yeah, but, like, where are you guys renting out a place? Are you guys eating at Bennigan's or what? Oh, no, she didn't. She went there. Oh, no, she didn't. She went there. Oh, no, she didn't. She did. Carrie, do you even have a date? Like, what is he doing? What is your date paying for, Carrie? Well, we're all sharing stuff. But, I mean, we're talking about, like, you know, running out of a restaurant and the hotel we want to stay at. And then, like, I didn't even, like, discuss my shoes or anything. I was talking about my dress. Her dress alone, Mark, her dress alone is over $1,000. Yeah, that's crazy. But, I mean, yeah, see, your parents are cool with you staying in a hotel. Like, they're willing to pay for that and stuff. I wouldn't even run that by my parents, so.
So anyway, would you want to go to prom with me? Hey, Carrie. Thanks for the call, Mark. Carrie, good luck. Keep us updated. I want to know what happens with your prom. Send us pictures. Thank you. Thank you. I'm America's sweetheart. You guys, I'm like, I'm freaking out about- You never gave your number. I'm freaking out about the hotel thing. Oh, yeah, my number. I think that $1,000 is appropriate for tux and dinner. Hold on. Hold on. Yeah. Yeah. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. $800, Eddie. I got it. $800. Listen to your friend, Mike. Listen to your friend. I got to help him. He's freaking out. $500. Mike. He's really freaking out. Jake, you get $45 for this? A Tuxford guy is going to run probably around $150. Is it? It's not more. Okay. $150. And I'm sure if he wants to chip in with a limo, everybody chips in, that's probably another $100 to $200. $200. A mission? Well, I had been to three other Toyota dealers that week. It was a mission to get a great deal on a new Corolla. I did have offers from those other dealers. Legend has it, back in the 1800s, Rocky Mountain Miners celebrated with get-togethers called banquets. Their beer, Coors. They called it Banquet Beer. It was brewed one way with only Rocky Mountain water and only the best high country barley for that smooth, full-flavored taste. 135 years later, that still holds true. Other beers have folded their tents, moved along, come and gone. But Coors Banquet, it's holding as strong as the Rockies themselves.
The next time you're having a get-together, make the same call generations have made since 1873. Just say, give me a banquet. Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado. And remember, you hold the key. Never drive drunk. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I find that I am actually afraid of many animals. I train my brain to try and move objects. Sky. The process of broadcasting right now where I try to match my voice, the overall feel and mood of the music. Does that make sense, Sky? Yeah, but I don't really like it. Yeah, it's a matching of the voice with the music. Very creepy. So with that being sad, it's 9 o'clock. For the second weekend in a row, Iron Man was the number one movie making $50.5 million. Sergio Garcia comes back to beat Paul Goidos in a playoff to win the Players' Championship. Our text number here, 35253. Coming up on the show, I got audio of Bill Clinton teeing off on another heckler, Obama supporter. So that's coming up. Also, speaking of the prom, I got to play the audio of the girl that got handcuffed at the prom. That's coming up in a little bit. And also... I got the audio of the girl that was on the train in Atlanta and started harassing the woman with the lyrics to Soulja Boy. And somebody caught it on tape and it's all over YouTube. So that's coming up. Right now, this is pretty cool. The TV show Ultimate Fighter. It's on Spike TV. Eddie's a big time fan of Ultimate Fighter. It's a really great show. Very randomly.
One of the guys that's actually on the show Ultimate Fighter lives in San Diego and is a P1. Let's go ahead and bring him into the studio. People are going to freak out. When I found out about this, I freaked out. I love it. It's pretty cool. Awesome. So we're going to bring him in, and I'll tell you who it is in just a second. That's cool. That guy looks tough. Yeah. He does. He looks tough. I think he's got the ear thing going on. Yeah, he definitely has the ear thing going on. I'm laying low. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesse Taylor is walking into the studio. Great guy. Very nice. He's a good guy. Jesse, how are you, man? I'm good, I'm good. Dude, I can't believe this. You're actually a P1. Yeah, I've been for a while since I was a kid now. Is that right? How old are you? How old a guy are you? I'm 25 now. 25 years old. And how long have you been in this line of work? I've been fighting now for like two years, maybe almost two years. So how did this opportunity, now for those of you that don't know, Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV is a reality show and it is about guys that do this mixed martial arts.
And they are ultimately, Eddie, are they trying to win a contract? Yeah, they're trying to win a contract for the UFC. That's amazing. That's amazing. And so how did this opportunity come up, Jesse? I was just training and kind of, I got lucky, kind of word of mouth. I've been doing it for a while and with a real good camp with Team Quest and Dan Henderson, Terry Sokuju, Mayhem Miller, all those guys. And they just pretty much asked me, they're like, hey, you want to do the show? Really? Yeah, I'd love to. They wanted me to send in a tape. I sent the tape in like two weeks late, never even got it in on time. They're still like, all right, you're on. That's amazing. So where were you working out at the time? Team Quest, Temecula. Okay, in Temecula. So you're working out out there, and had you had any big fights, or what was the deal? I was coming off two good wins. I fought a guy off that tap-out show. I don't know if you guys have seen that. I beat a guy off that, but I took the fight. I'll be training. I'm always training hard. But sometimes I'll go do my thing and take a fight like a three-day notice or four-day notice. And things worked out well. And kind of just word of mouth spread. And they just asked me to be on the show. So you send in a tape. And what do you do on the tape? The tape, I guess they kind of want to see more of your personality. So all I really did is I climbed up a light pole.
They thought it was cool. Wow. So they're like, all right, you're on. Are you talking about like a wooden thing or a cement? It's cement, like a cement, like a light pole. Yeah, he just climbed up it. Yeah, how did you do that? He just climbed up. It's kind of my different style of training. I don't know. This is a training thing. Well, it's pretty tough. Yeah, you got to use a lot of muscles. Well, yeah, I mean, I couldn't get up two feet of it. So how do you do it? You just hold on and inch your way up? Yeah, pretty much. You just wrap your whole body around. You bear hug the light pole with your legs and your arm. Like koala maneuver. Yeah. The worst is going down, though, because it ruins your shoes. It totally burns them right off. Oh, my gosh. It burns on the way down. Dude. Oh, my gosh. So you did this on the tape. Yeah, I did this on the tape. And you were sober.
Yeah, I was 100%. I was dead drunk. The first time I did it, though, I was pretty drunk. That's how I found out. You have to be. You have to be. I was really drunk. But then I'm like, what's up? Well, who amongst us hasn't had a couple of drinks and scaled a light pole? I mean, Sky did that just a few weeks ago. Well, that's how I got this gig. That's right. That's right. You know, she sent the tape in of her scaling a light pole. And anyway, I don't understand the wink that you just gave Sky. I don't even know what that means. We know. That's awesome. But he gave her a wink, which made me uncomfortable. Awkward. Anyway, Jesse Taylor is on the show, Ultimate Fighter. How nervous were you the first time you show up and there's all these cameras and you're being filmed? How nervous were you? The cameras I got used to, I came in real prepared. I mean, I trained my butt off for it. I trained all the time. I'm with the best guys in the world. I knew sooner or later I'd be in the UFC. It was just a matter of time. And when I got there, Dana announced, I don't know if you guys were watching, right away we had to fight, like right away. Yeah, usually they cast the show and they put all these guys in the house and then they put them against each other. Well, this year for the first time, they made them fight to get into the house. Get out. Yeah. So they had double the amount of people there and then the winners got to actually be on the show. So Jesse had to fight to get on the show.
How handily did you defeat the guy that you fought, or was it tough? I had a, I don't know, they kept saying he looked like Slim Shady. He was this tall-looking guy, and he was wearing his basketball suit. He looked like a basketball player. Really? It wasn't that tough for me. I choked him, rear naked choke. Nice. Then Rampage called me, I didn't know, but watching the show, he called me a one-trick pony. Really? What did he mean by that? Because I kept going for the rear naked choke over and over again. We play bare-naked ladies here, don't we? No, no, not bare-naked ladies. I see. It's a totally different name. I didn't know that that was a real move because Eddie and Rob always scream that at each other and put each other in a headlock and do that in the office. What do you think we're doing? Well, I thought you were making it up. Why would the word naked be in a movie? I don't know. I thought you were trying to be funny. Well, you'd have to have been there the first time the move was performed. Well, yeah, again, drunk. So anyway, so you got this guy to tap out? Yeah, yeah, tap out. Yeah. I fought again, too. I fought first in the house.
It was the same choke. So we'll see how far this Renee can choke. Hey, man, as long as you win, that's all that matters. Jesse, do you have the cauliflower ear thing that these fighters always get? Do you have anything going on? Oh, my goodness. I got it. I got it. Oh. Oh, yeah, you do. I think BJ Penn just flinched. It's real interesting to, like, actually grab it. Like, people who haven't seen it. Is it scar tissue? Is it scar tissue? It's all scar tissue, yeah. His ear, his right ear looks like cauliflower. We talked to Dean Lister over the weekend at Qualcomm. Yeah. Same thing, right ear. I asked him, why the right, not the left? He says, I always put my left ear and guard it with my shoulder. He says, it's my right ear that's getting punched. Well, I'm more from a wrestler background. So mine actually is from when I take people down or I'm always sliding my right side right across their head. In college, I was really a head kind of aggressive. I used my head a lot when I wrestled. I would always smack people with my ear. I got a little boy, so I always rub it in his face. It's funny, yeah. It's cool, though. Jesse Taylor's hanging out in the studio with us. He's on The Ultimate Fighter. He's also a P1 listens to The Mikey Show, which is cool. Jesse, is that a badge of honor? You know what? At first...
I didn't like it. Some people didn't know. They asked me if I was deformed. Oh, wow. Somebody actually asked you that? I had a girl ask me that when I was in junior college. She asked me if I was born that way. I was like, no. When you told her, what did she say? She was real surprised. She'd never even seen it or heard of it. She'd never heard of MMA? She's heard of MMA, but she's never heard of cauliflower, which is surprising. So I had to tell her all about it. Did she seem impressed by that? If I was a chick, I would think that was cool. Like, here's a guy that's like a UFC kind of guy. Well, some girls definitely love it, and there's definitely some girls that do not like it. Yeah. They're kind of like, what? What is that all about? Gross. You put your bubble gum in your ear. But no, it is definitely like it. It's a reminder kind of. It's a battle. I kind of like it now. Yeah. Okay. Here's a question I got for you. How are you able to deal with the pain that's involved? in this sport? Oh, my gosh. It's kind of, I just love to do it, and you just don't think about it. You definitely feel it after, but I just kind of don't think about it. I just have so much, I guess, adrenaline, and you don't even feel it or think about it, as long as you don't get knocked out. What was the craziest thing that you saw go on in this reality show environment? Give me a crazy thing that happened while you were doing Ultimate Fighter.
It was a lot of crazy things. I'm just thinking about what I could say, what's been aired and whatnot. Thank you. But the craziest thing, I think, is just you've got a bunch of fighters, you know, just living in a house for so long and so much tension and so much stuff like that. It's just that World War III that goes on in the house, and if you keep watching, you guys will see it. So maybe some fisticuffs going on in the house. What did you say to me, Jesse, that this is like the most controversial season ever? I think it's definitely going to be one of the most controversial seasons as we start watching that. And just, I mean, when you first had to get their tea, you had to fight. So they just changed the whole format around. Yeah. I don't want to ruin the show or I can't say anything, but as you keep watching, it's definitely going to be one of the most controversial. Tell me this. Did you have a nemesis in the house? Oh, God, I did. He just fought, actually. Who is it? His name is Jeremy May. Jeremy May. You guys didn't get a lot. Everybody hated that guy. Everyone hated him, but if you keep watching, there's a big thing that happens with me and him. I did not like him at all. Can't wait, can't wait. Jesse, can you give us... Okay, I know you can't tell us too much, but can you give us a little hint as to what starts it?
He doesn't learn. He constantly is running his mouth. He never even has that much of an impressive record, and he's always telling what he does and how good he is and this and that. And then one day he had a couple drinks, and he drew some balls, and we were playing cards, and he just kept saying something. You'll see. Okay. Now tell me this. Now tell me this. You know, when you're watching a reality show, let's say this exact scene you're talking about, you guys are playing cards and let's say you get into a war of words, okay? When something like that happens, when we watch it back on the television show, this is how it usually plays out for us, the viewer. We see this fight start to escalate. And then as the fight starts to escalate, they'll do a cutaway to you being interviewed and saying, Oh, yeah, he just was running his mouth, and I knew it was going to get bad. And then they cut away from that, and it goes back to the scene with the cards, and you guys are heating up, blah, blah, blah. And then maybe they cut away to him, and he's like, I just said that. And so my question to you is, after the fight,
Is that when they pulled you aside and said, OK, we want to talk to you about what just happened? Or was it like a day later, a week later? Like, how do they do that? Usually we have these things. We called it a club confessional. And they brought us into kind of like a room like this. And they would ask us questions and what we're thinking. And this went on throughout the show. every couple days or so. Yeah. And they would ask you recent things, what you feel about certain things. So they had like notes of maybe things that have been taking place and they would ask you about it. Yeah, even when the cameras aren't on you, there's little cameras all throughout the house. Right. So you always know what you're doing. I mean, the only place they don't go is the bathroom. But the thing which is weird is the sound thing is still on in the bathroom. Really? So if you have a bad, you know, crap or something, that's all on sound. Did they tape everything? Yeah. Oh, that's terrible. You don't have any sense of privacy. Oh, you don't have any sense of privacy. That would be terrible. When you sleep, it's the only time you take off the sound. It's like a little necklace, the sound thing. We're talking to Jesse Taylor. He happens to be P1 of The Mikey Show. And he's on the TV show Ultimate Fighter. And I wouldn't want to mess with the guy.
He looks pretty tough. And he is an MMA fighter. And Ultimate Fighter airs Wednesday nights at 10 o'clock on Spike TV. It's one of those deals where this is one of those shows I want to watch. So good, dude. I want to watch. So good. Okay. The producer that's asking you the questions, a man or a woman? Or is it always different? It's always different, but usually it was between two guys. Two different guys. Yeah. When they're interviewing you. Are they sitting there with one of those producer headsets on? No, there's like a camera. And the weird thing I thought was sometimes they make you look into the camera when you're talking. Sometimes you look at them when you're talking. And they'll tell you. Look at me or look at the camera. Right. And there's no headsets because it's all with this little sound kind of deal we got going on. Right. Yeah, so you just look in the camera, look at them, and tell them what you're thinking and feeling. And it's really how they chop it up. They could make you look really good or make you look really bad. Oh, yeah. If you could fight any one guy in the UFC and you got to pick, if I just said to you right now, if I'm Dana White and I say, okay, kid, I'm going to give you the chance. Anybody you want, who do you want? I definitely want the best guys. Right now, there's a lot of good matchups for me.
I'm sure you guys know Dan Henderson just lost to Anderson Silva. Definitely down the road, I'd love to fight that guy. I want the best guy. I want to be in here for a while for the sport. I want to just establish my name. Do you feel, Jesse, that you're ready? Like you could take on one of these guys right now? A guy of that caliber. I think eventually, definitely, yeah. Right now, I'm definitely ready for a challenge, though, a tough opponent. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. How old are you? I'm 25. 25. A lot of people are calling in. You want to take some phone calls? Yeah, it'll be cool. Yeah, yeah, 570-1053, people, if you want to ask Jesse Taylor from TV's Ultimate Fighter. It's on Wednesday night, Spike TV, 10 o'clock. P1 Maxwell, what's up? Hey, Jesse, got a question. After seeing Forrest and Rampage side by side, what is your pick for the fight? You know what? Mark my words, I think Forrest Griffin will win. Rampage has a lot of power. I like both of them. Forrest is the hardest working guy in any kind of job. I'm sure everyone heard some rumors of that. The guy trains like a maniac, and I just think the fame and champion stuff got to Rampage's head a little much. You don't think he's training as hard? I don't think he's working. He's not.
On the show, every single day, Forrest was working out with me. Every single workout. Rampage would come in there after partying and just, you know, he's a cool guy, but he wasn't training nearly as hard as Forrest. Wow. Forrest will upset him. There you go. Cool. Thanks for your time, guys. Thanks, man. 570-1053. If you would like to ask Jesse a question, I mean, here is a guy that has been in the octagon, mixing it up with some of the toughest guys out there. And basically, he would take Forrest Griffin. That's crazy. In a fight between the two of these guys. So the coaches this year were Forrest, right? Forrest and Rampage. And what were your, I mean, I hear the thing about the training. What were their personalities like? They're actually both real down-to-earth kind of guys. A lot of people thought Rampage was going to be all, you know, he was a more down-to-earth guy. Forrest is really down to earth, and Forrest is a lot smarter, too, than people think. He's a real smart guy, too, real knowledgeable. He always downplays himself, too. He says, I suck, I'm this and that. But the guy has a lot of tools, a lot of things going on for him. He's a real good guy. I liked Forrest a lot. P1 Dana is on the line. I don't know if this is Dana White. Dana, what did you want to ask?
Yeah, I actually am a head coach for wrestling in San Diego, actually at Orange Glen, and I switched over to Valley Center. But he actually coaches little kids in wrestling. Oh, that's cool. Do you do that, Jesse? Yeah, I definitely help out with the kids. I got a little kid myself. How old is your boy? It's a boy, yeah. He's three and a half. Oh, that's cool. He's going to be four in July coming up here. Would you be okay with him doing this line of work? I'll be okay with whatever he does as long as he's not killing people or doing something illegal. But I'll support him with whatever he does. Is he interested in this stuff? See, at first he was kind of – he shied away from it, but now he's always – attacking his mom and wrestling everyone. He's picking it up, which is how he positions his body. He actually knows what he's doing now. He's at an awesome age. It would be cool if I saw him wrestle. Sky, you would be cool with your son doing MMA, right? You would take him to do the mixed martial arts, right? She won't even let him play soccer. No, I said soccer's okay. She will not let her son play football. Soccer and baseball are fine.
What about full contact mixed martial arts? Not going to happen? You're saying not going to happen. Too violent. P1 Art. I got a question. I want to know, what does he think about Kimbo Slice? How come the guy gets no respect? Why Kimbo? I think Kimbo definitely is a tough guy, a real good boxer, a strong guy. I think if he fights a good wrestler or a good guy on the ground, though, he's going to be lost. I mean, he's a tough guy. They just haven't put him against a tough wrestler or a tough jiu-jitsu guy yet. So it'll be interesting to see when he fights someone like that. Thanks, Art. Appreciate it. 570-1053 is the number, and our text number is 35253. Ultimate Fighter's Jesse Taylor. Jesse, can you do one more segment with us? If you can, I understand. Yeah, I took the morning off. Okay. Cool. You want to take one more segment? We'll come back. We'll take a couple more calls, take some text messages, and hang with you a little bit. Yeah, it'll be cool. All right. Jesse Taylor's in the studio. He's on Ultimate Fighter. Wednesdays, 10 p.m., Spike TV. We'll be right back with Jesse. And don't go away, too, because I got to tell you about this. Apparently, Suge Knight got knocked out in Hollywood. Knocked out. Get out of here. Would you knock Suge Knight out? No.

You know the old chestnut, together we can move mountains? What a useless phrase. We don't need to move any mountains. Mountains should stay put. In fact, we should probably be working together to not move mountains. Let's think of some better phrases.
Ones that don't imply that being successful means devastating the landscape. How about something like together we can move mountains of trash that have piled up near the old docks. I know who this is. Hello, Barbara. What's up? Hi, guys. I'm a part-time Hillary supporter, a whole-time black woman. Did you hear what Hillary's saying? Yes, she's saying that white America would support her, which is the truth. But what she's not saying is that she got my vote, too, girl. Well, no, I don't know. The Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey show. It's 931. David Archuleta's dad has been banned from backstage at American Idol after he upset the show's producers. Huge brawl erupted this weekend during Baltimore Ravens training camp. All 85 players were involved. Oh, my. Was Suge Knight there? Yeah, I think so. So, yeah, man.
Skye, what are the details on the Suge Knight thing? So I guess Suge Knight was out at a Hollywood club this weekend. And according to witnesses who were there, Suge and his, like, posse. Homies. His homies were arguing with this dude. People who overheard the argument said it was about money. Suge was screaming, I want my money, at this guy. And Suge and his boys were giving this guy a little ass whooping, you know. I know the feeling, Mike. I've been there, done that. Please be cool. So, you know, as they're beating this guy up, I guess this guy just gets in one great, you know, punch on Suge Knight right in the kisser and knocks him out. cold. I would not want to be that guy. He's now dead. They say Suge was knocked out for about three minutes. When they finally got him up, he's all bloodied. He's totally out of it. There's pictures. You see him getting in his car outside the club all bloodied up. He looks like he doesn't even know where he is. He's totally confused. They took him to the hospital and LAPD arrived to take a report.
report, and Suge refused to file a police report. No way, Jose! Yeah, you know, sometimes in my neighborhood, stuff like that happens too. Oh, really? No. Yeah, you know, sometimes you have a really good friend who wants to borrow money, so you loan him some money because you're friends with him, you know? Yeah, you know, you say, why don't you pay me next month? The next month comes, and then it goes, you know? So you see him at the club, the nightclub, and you remind him. Yeah. With your fist. Yeah, you gently remind them with your hands. That sounds violent. You say, hey, don't forget you still owe me some money. You gently remind them. It's a friendly reminder. It doesn't sound like something a friend would do. I got to tell you, one time we were doing this and he got one good punch in on me. Oh, no. Yeah, you know, that guy, I think he must have gone on some sort of trip or something. Why? Is he not around anymore? Well, you know, nobody knows, you know. I haven't heard anything. What? Yeah, I think he must have gotten involved with the Merchant Marines or something, you know. The Peace Corps? The Peace Corps. Yeah, the Peace Corps. Yeah, I heard he joined the Peace Corps, and he's somewhere in Namibia right now. Wow. Helping out. Maybe Tripoli or something. Yeah, he's over in Tripoli.
Helping out the kids. P1 Ryan has a question for Jesse Taylor, who's in the studio. Are you there, Ryan? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. You're on the air. Jesse, this is Ryan. We went to school together. We're pretty good buddies. I wanted to ask you, how have you been so successful on this show? Do you think the wrestling has took a major effect on these other guys? What separates you from the other fighters? Do you recognize your very good buddy here on the line, Jesse, because he says you guys are good friends? You know him. I know a lot of Ryan. Ryan who? Jones. Oh, what's up, man? Yeah, I do. I definitely know Ryan. I know that clown. There you go. I know that dude. I think, yeah, the wrestling has definitely paid off, but also just my training camp has really helped me. I've got pretty good at fighting, so it's definitely helping out. How is Jiu-Jitsu coming? Jiu-Jitsu is awesome. My only two losses have been to Jiu-Jitsu guys, and I think they motivate me. I will never lose.
I'll never lose to a jiu-jitsu guy. I'll prepare myself for a jiu-jitsu guy again. Quite a statement. I don't want to lose to no jiu-jitsu guy. I had two losses in jiu-jitsu. One to a gay guy. One to a four-year-old girl. That wasn't jiu-jitsu. Fourth grade. Fourth grade girl. You guys were playing Ring Around Rosie, actually, as well. P1 A-Town is on the line. A-Town. A-Town. What's going on, guys? What's up, dude? Hey, dude. I love you guys' show, and I just wanted to ask Jesse, You're going up to Temecula for your fighting camp, but there's a lot, a lot of good talent in San Diego. Are you ever thinking about maybe getting a fighting camp started down here? I thought about that. I definitely have. I looked around when I first started fighting in San Diego, and I've noticed there's definitely some tough guys down here, but just quality and quantity, it seems like Team Quest Temecula has the most. You've got world-class guys in there every single day. anywhere from eight, sometimes 15 guys to choose from who are world-class international fighters from all over the place. It's a very good fit for me. You can't go wrong. I'm real close to Dan Henderson these days, too. I'm kind of a loyal guy. Yep, trained with him. You did not train with Dan Henderson. You don't even know who he is.
I want to give out our text number again. It's 35253. And we got a text here that says, I remember Jesse from when he wrestled at Fullerton. Of all the wrestlers I would see training, he was definitely the most intimidating just by looking at him. Another text says, does Jesse have a MySpace or a way to keep in touch with his fans? That's P1A ball. Do you? Yeah, I got a MySpace. It's just JT Money, $4 bill signs. Search San Diego. You will find it. And my website, too, is pretty cool. It's YoJTMoney.com. YoJTMoney.com. There you go. So you're saying that was not taken when you were trying to get that website. YoJTMoney.com was available to you. It was, but JTMoney wasn't. But in a way, I kind of like YoJTMoney better because it's Yo. This one says, hey, Jesse, I would like to train like a UFC fighter. Do you have any good training tips? That's P1 Birdman, Corporal in the USMC.
Just find a local fight gym and get started and see what you like the best. Throwdown Elite Training Center. There you go. ThrowdownSanDiego.com. I'm telling you, that's where you should start out if you want to get into the sport. Ashley has been training there. She beat Dean Lister this weekend. She took him down. He tapped out. She's gotten good. She's gotten good. I know Dean's down at Throwdown. That's a pretty good camp, too, I heard. P1 Mayron says he's a friend. Mayron, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Oh, man. He's a close friend of mine, actually. I know this dude. I know this dude. It's funny. I have these gigs and appearances, and it seems like it's just a reunion of old friends. Yeah. That's awesome. What's up, Mehran? Well, I just wanted to, with Jesse, congratulations on all of his success. He's definitely going to make it big, and all you guys who are watching the show should definitely keep an eye on Jesse and follow him because he's something else. Thanks, Mehran. Guys, thank you. Go ahead. Did you have something else? So, Jesse, what are you doing about management and promotions and stuff like that? Oh, man. He's a good friend of yours. Yeah, he's trying to manage me. I'm just doing my own thing. Mehran, I have a question, Mehran. Give us a list of the other fighters that you're currently managing. Good call. Good call.
I have a management company. I manage a guy named Rob. He's a good fighter. He's up and coming. Talking about the Rob on our show. Don't you claim to manage his parody song career? I don't know how bad. I'm an all-encompassing manager. If you want to do rap or whatever, let me know. Eddie, you realize that he's the same guy that did this. Oh, yeah. Talk about it. Or just play it. It's great. So you're saying you're managing his career? Yes. You were responsible for this song is what you're saying. I wasn't planned. Song to his mom. But I can't begin to thank you. So here's a song for the best mom. Wow, way to hit that low note. Yeah, really so sweet. I was so young. You took the time to teach me to cuss out drivers that cut me off. He says that's true, that she actually did. Mom. Oh, gosh. Get it. The best mom. I will shout. Happy Mother's Day.
Call me to you, sweet ass. Rob, I bet you didn't think it was going to get another airplay until next year. There it was. I burnt it onto the CD and listened to it all week. That's awesome. So, well, cool. Appreciate it. That's Jesse Taylor. He's on UFC's Ultimate Fighter. It's on Wednesday nights, 10 o'clock, Spike TV. And just, you can hang out with us, Jesse. I've got to tell people about a bunch of stuff. We've got some real incredible things happening in the news that we've been talking about. Earlier, we mentioned that Rod Luck, KUSI reporter, was arrested on suspicion of battery against his girlfriend in San Francisco, which is a sad thing. And I'm sure you're going to hear that reported on a lot as the rest of the day goes on. Also, the 7.8 earthquake in China this morning.
Yeah, the death toll is climbing every time I check back on CNN. Right now they're saying about 8,500 people confirmed dead. But there's still tons of people missing under rubble. So the numbers just keep adding up. Jenny Garth is going to be on that 90210 spinoff. Really? GW issued a statement and confirmed that Jenny Garth will come back to her role as Kelly Taylor. No way. playing a guidance counselor at West Beverly High. Oh, my God. And the difference in Kelly then and now, now Kelly has like a MySpace account. Oh. She's on Facebook. Oh. She has viewed YouTube. Wow. These will be the updates to the Kelly character. I like it. So you'll get to know all sorts of things. That's right. I wonder if they will reference any of the old characters, because that's what we want to know. Yeah. What happened to Brandon?
Yeah, where'd they all go? What happened to his sister, Wendy? Brenda. How dare you? Brenda. How dare you? Brenda. Brenda and Brendan, they're twins, remember? They were twins. That's right. Gosh. David Silver, hello. David Silver. That's the only person I care about. Steve. What happened to Donna? Hmm. We know what happened to Andrea Zuckerman. She's on the show. Right? Didn't she? Didn't she play something on the show? Or they were trying to get her on the show? No? I don't know. I don't know. But now she was like a... What about Dylan? He's so hot. Obviously in jail. He's a rebel. He's still trying to work out who he is. Find himself. Yes. Justin Timberlake going to be producing a new show for MTV. Nice. Yeah, it's going to be a reality show, which he's saying is like a real life born identity thing. I guess it's going to be called The Phone, okay?
I already hate it. I already hate it. What they do, Eddie, just wait, is they hide two cell phones on, like, opposite ends of a major city, okay? And then at the same time, they have the cell phones ring. And whoever the first person is to go to find the phone and pick it up, like, these are just random people walking by the street and say they put it in a trash can and somebody goes and answers it, they will be then given instructions to, like, search for clues and you win, like, a bunch of money. And they say they're going to have, like, helicopters on the ready to, like, follow them around. Oh, that's not real. And I guess it's based on a Dutch reality show that's very successful that does the same thing. Yes, it's a great show. It's called... Well said. It's called... How are you going to pull that off? They were going to keep the name the same on MTV. Just didn't. They were, like... Translated as well. I can't imagine somebody picking up a phone and buying it unless he's on the phone and he says, you know, and he's like, yo, yo, yo, what's up? It's Justin Timberlake, dog. Justin Timberlake. He doesn't talk like that. That's what he talks like. He goes, yo, yo, yo.
Yo, what's up? It's me, Justin Timberlake. He's much cooler than that, Mike. Just thinking that's the way he did it. No, that's not even cool. Maybe not. No. Let's see. So that's a new thing. Yeah. Lindsay Lohan's accused of stealing clothes again. What? Well, this chick figured it out. What? What did she do? Well, did you guys hear the story last week about the mink coat? No. I heard it from you. Oh. Did we actually talk about it on the show? I don't know. I don't remember. Yeah, I don't know if it actually made it on the air. Basically, the deal was is so this chick goes to a private party and Lindsay Lohan's also at the private party. Lindsay Lohan is photographed walking in in her black coat. This gal has a like $11,000 mink coat that's very rare that like belonged to her grandmother or something. So they all put them in the coat check. And then as Lindsay is leaving, she takes her coat and the mink coat and leaves.
And is photographed leaving the party with the mink coat. Photographed the next day walking around wearing the mink coat. So the chick complains. And basically the club gets involved and lawyers get involved. And the next thing you know the mink coat shows up on this chick's doorstep. But of course she says it smells like smoke. It has like a rip in it now. All this stuff. I think she'll get an Academy Award for this. So there's like photographic evidence. backs that up well the new story today is this model lauren hastings she says that um she was out of town and a friend of hers was house sitting and decided to have some friends over and one of the people who came over was lindsey lowen and uh according to witnesses at her party lindsey basically went into this chick's closet and took thousands and thousands of dollars worth of stuff So the chick returns home and she says she has two huge closets and one of them was like half empty. No. And so she, you know, her friend said, yeah, Lindsay totally took all your stuff. I'm a freak. She called Lindsay. Lindsay claims the chick is delusional, is lying, is making it up. No. Well, she could be. How do we know? I mean, she could just be saying it because she's a model and she wants to get publicity. We don't know. She better because I'd flip if anybody did that to me. We don't know. But with the coat thing.
What's going on? Hello? Hey, it's Dr. Wayne. How are you guys? What are you? What's going on? I just want to let everybody listening know that I am a chiropractor and also a Swedish massage expert. I've actually got my... You've told us that. I'm actually certified as a deep tissue and Swedish masseuse. I don't know why. Very impressive. Why do you need to... I was just letting people know. Anyway, that's not why I'm calling. Dr. Wayne, we're in the middle of something. I understand. I was calling because I heard UFC fighter Jesse Taylor on the air. Yeah, he's here. He's sitting right there. We don't need to get involved. We'll see if I can get that MySpace one more time. That's JT Money, $4 bill signs. JT Money, $4 bill signs, writing that down. And definitely, I am a big fan of MMA and the UFC. I don't know if you guys know that. Well, you know, I don't know that this is appropriate. No, it's the truth. I am. I actually am interested in the man on the show. Wait a second. I mean, you guys are making a bigger deal out of this than you need to. By the way, is Zeth there? You always ask for Zeth. Zeth, I'm having a Zeth. Are you there? Hey. Hello.
He's here. His mic is turned off. Well, the thing is that Zeth is my favorite character on the show. He doesn't say anything ever. He sits in a corner. Exactly, Eddie, exactly. That's what I'm saying. So one of the things that's really great about him is that every time he says something, I think to myself, boy, I was just thinking that, and then Zeth said it. But he doesn't ever say anything, so that doesn't make any sense. What was the last thing you related to, Dr. Wynn? It was his blog. Well, but you said the stuff he says on the air. Yeah, make up your mind. Oh, the last thing he said on the air? Yeah. That you related to and that you were thinking the exact same thing. Well, anyway, let me get on to my regular point here. This is garbage. I just wanted to let Zeth know that I am a certified butterfly kisser. That is definitely gay. Way too far. You're gay. You're a gay person. I'm not a gay person. In fact, my wife is standing right behind me right now. Doing what? Right now, push-ups. She's as physically fit as I am. Okay.
Hang on just a second. Boy, my wife is always bugging me to make out with her. Hang on a minute. Really? Is that the deal? Make out, by the way. What's that, babe? I don't hear anybody in the background. Hey, guys, my wife wanted me to remind everyone that this weekend we're going to be having a big UFC party over here at the house. There's not an event this weekend. You are? Oh, no, we're going to show the DVDs is what we're going to do of all the... I'm doing that. So, yeah. Ashley would love to come over. Oh, Ashley wants to come? Okay, well, that means that more than one person from the show wants to come. Better be fair about this. I'll put all your names in the hat. Don't do that hat again. I wonder who's going to win. The one that gets to come in. Okay, so I'm mixing up the hat here. Yeah, you're going to say Zeth. Let me draw in here and pull a name. And look at that, it's Zeth. Yeah, see? You're very lucky, Zeth. Yeah. You win a lot. Hey, by the way, I have a question for Seth now that I've got him here on the phone. Okay. And it has to do with the UFC. Okay. Seth? Yeah, Seth, are you ticklish?
I don't see the relevance. That's gay. I want to suck face again, so I better go. Yeah, you better go. Suck face? Yeah, I think you better go. That's a weird term. That's a term that nobody even uses that term anymore. That's a strange way to say that. I'm really uncomfortable with that guy. Very uncomfortable. Well, what can you do? Let's see. It looks like they have a grand prize for that goofy, High school musical reality show that they're going to do? Remember we were talking about that? Yeah, it's weird because, you know, they had all these auditions and whatever, but they never announced what the prize was going to be. Oh. Yeah, which is awesome. But, you know, of course, kids, you know, thousands of kids came to audition anyways. They don't care. They just hear high school musical and they're in. So ABC has announced what the grand prize is. The winner will get to appear in the music video that's going to be shown during the closing credits. of High School Musical 3 senior year. Oh, wow. So you'll get to be in the music video that's shown during the credits. Wow, lucky. So it's really going to launch your... So they've now changed the name of the show to High School Musical. Get in the picture, and it'll start on ABC in July. NBC is expected to... Well, NBC is holding a news conference today. They're expected to name the replacement for Conan O'Brien. You probably know who it is, but if you don't...
We'll tell you after this. Conan O'Brien is going to be taking over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show next year. And so they need a replacement, obviously, for him. And they're supposed to announce it today. We pretty much know who it is. Tell you right after this. And I want to say thank you so much to Jesse Taylor. Jesse, thank you for coming and hanging out with us, man. We really appreciate it. Thanks a lot. This Wednesday, too, I'll be at McKee's Tavern. Very nice. Very nice. Cool. Take a quick break. KIOZ San Diego. But then you hit it. And then you hit it. Huh? See, the timing is off. The timing is off. A little bit. You hit it. You never even got to hit it. Delay. There's already not a delay. I love you, Michael. I love you, Michael. Let's see. Austin Rob got bit by a spider. Yeah. We think, we think, yeah. I've got no idea what it was. He's got this big lump on his arm. It's kind of like... He's lump. He's lump. He's spider. He might want to get a mammogram on that. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Check it out. It's kind of swollen. Kind of. And it burns. Ew, dude. It's hot. It's hot. Like a softball under his arm. What is he waiting for? I would say it's more like a golf ball.
It's like in between a golf ball and a softball. It's not in between a golf ball. Do I need to take a look at it? Come in here, Rob. Eddie, it's nowhere near the size of a softball. Let's a doctor look at it. Eddie's a doctor. He'll take a look. I'll give you my unprofessional opinion. Eddie, it's almost the size of a small lime. Yeah. You're going to suck the venom out? Suck out the poison. Holy! Right? It sneaks up on you. Dude, that's not normal, bro. Get out of here. And his hands, like, going numb. Yeah. It is? It was tingling. Yeah, because the bite is like right above his wrist. Did you just hit it, Eddie? I wanted to see if you could feel it. Yeah, you said it hurts. And it's all hot, and he's getting pins and needles in his hands. Put some mud on it. Seriously. It's not the size of a softball. Put dirt on it. It's not the size of a softball. Put some icy hot on it. A big lime. Is it a lime, seriously? Small lime. It's a lime. It's the size of a lime. It's pretty abnormal, man. Yeah, and it's hot. Which is usually indicative of your body trying to counteract the poison. It's probably a spider. Awesome. But you know what? The thing is we're telling him to go to the doctor and the truth is probably the doctor's going to say, well, you're alive. You're probably working your way through it. There's no lines or anything going into it, which is the indication of it being real poisonous. What do you mean, Eddie? When there's lines that...
Red lines that radiate out. No kidding. That's usually when you know it's real poisonous. What do you mean? I didn't know that. He's saying that if you look at your skin and you see tiny little red lines radiating out of the little bite marks, that's bad. But you don't see that on yours. No. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, what's up? This is P1LC. That happened to me too, man. I had one on my neck. Oh. Oh, really? Yeah. And like that same tingling sensation, like what happened was I was asleep and what it was, it was a brown recluse. And so what was the deal? Did it get hot too? Yeah. It gets, it gets kind of like a warm feeling. You get like a warm feeling. And then like, since I got bit in the neck, like my head felt tingly, not like my head, like a headache, but like the skin, like the outside, you know, and it just, it was tingly man. And so, you know, my mom, she will. You know, I'm Mexican, so my mom was like, oh, mijo, you got to put on some lemon, and then you put on, you know, some kind of weird, you know. Are you Mexican? Yeah. Of course. You know, so she's like, here, you know, put on some lemon and stuff, and then, you know. Some Windex, you're good. Yeah, some Windex. Fine. You know, all this weird stuff. And have an old lady spit on it. Yeah. But you can just, you know, you can go to a doctor and they'll probably give you antibiotics, but I just kind of let it run its course. And the thing is, it's going to get, if you let it run its course, which I shouldn't have done, it got.
kind of bigger and bigger and... Oh. Yeah. So you think that he should go to a doctor? Yes. Yeah, they'll give him, like, antibiotics and stuff. Why don't you go, Rob? Yeah, I'm going to try to walk it off after the show. Don't be a jerk, dude. Don't. Come on. Go to the doctor after the show. Go to the doctor, bro. Mikey Show. Hey, is this Rob? It's Mikey. Oh, Mikey, hey, this is Pew and Engineer. I've had the same thing happen, like, a number of times with the whole spider bite thing, and I just wanted to let Rob know he definitely needs to get that checked out. Why? It can get really bad, kind of like what Eddie's talking about with the lines going in and out of it. But he doesn't have lines going in and out of it. Not yet, Mike. It starts like that with just the big swollen thing, and I had the lines bike. A few weeks or, like, a few days I waited and the lines ended up going fully up my arm and, like, down my leg and ended up going up really close to my heart. Rob, you might consider a doctor. That's going to burn up my whole day. I've got a lot of stuff I've got to do. Well, then don't worry about it, bro. We'll see a varicose veins in a few days.
life, you know? Yeah, then walk it off. Life's too short to waste a day going to the doctor. He may have superpowers now, though, guys. That's right. Oh, yeah! Mikey's show. Let's go outside after the show and see what I can do. Okay. I just wanted to talk about the spider bite. Yep. Oh, man. Yeah, I have one on my face right now from a black widow. Get out of here. You got bit on the face by a black widow? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. No. Did it hurt? What do you think, man? It's a spider biting me on the face. Oh, man. I had a friend, my friend Dave, got bit in the hand by a black widow, and he said that it hurts so bad. Yeah, like, I had to go into surgery, and they, like, cut it open in the scalpel, and, like, take this little spatula and kind of, like, pull everything out of there. Oh, I'm going to do that when I get home tomorrow. Click on that, Rob. Let me see what the brown recluse bite looks like. I'm trying to, but it's not. Oh, I think that Seth actually sent you a virus. Ew. There we go. Hey, Rob, don't worry about it. Maybe you'll have that. I don't want to look. No, no, no, no, no. Sky, look. I don't want to look. This will ruin your life. Come on, Sky. No, thank you. Sky, I'm just telling you, if you look, it'll ruin your life. Come on, Sky. No, thank you, Zach. Mikey Show. Come on, Sky. Mikey. Yes. Hey, it's T1 Termite, dude. Hey. You guys still talking about a spider bite? Yep. I got bit by, it's called a spiral spider. I work in any people's houses.
like right in my inner thigh. Oh, yeah. One day, right to my heart, dude. What? Wait, what? It gave me, it's called a spiral spider. It lives in the ground underneath people's houses. Yeah. And I had to go to the hospital that day because it gave me infection straight to my heart and it had to pump me through IVs and when I went home, just put ice on it would have killed me. But just get it checked out because you don't know what kind of spider it is. Oh, there you go, Rob. All right. Walk it off. Yeah. I was thinking of just walking it off. Put some dirt on it. Yeah. Oh, no. I have an old lady spit on it. You guys want to hear the chick on the train in Atlanta? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Cut 40. I have no idea. Yeah, isn't that what the clip says? Question. She's like harassing an old lady and like yelling at her.
So this is the Atlanta transportation system? I guess so. Isn't that what the clip says? Yes. Marta is the name of the transportation system. Do you think that they will use that as their new commercial? Ride Marta. Ride Marta. This is what happens. Yeah, you can meet all kinds of people. We're not from the same planet. No. That is very telling. That's brutal. That is brutal. So then she starts to do this with someone else on the train and this happens. Cut 41. So no physical altercation happens at any point, right? Is it all just the yelling? No idea. Yes. Oh my goodness. I'm scared. Crack is whack. Crack is whack. I would have loved to see that. Oh, I would not have wanted to see that. I would have given anything. I would have been very sad. Yeah, I would have been scared, hurt, sad, and fearful. Yes, all of them. All of the above. And hysterics. Yes. No way. No hysterics. They are calling it the Soulja Boy video. Oh, good. Hello? I can't hear anything. Oh, no. Hello?
Hello, are you there? Yeah, hello. Hi, hello. Yes. Am I on the air? Am I throwing my words? Yes, very badly. This is Barbara calling. We know. I just wanted to tell you guys something. Yes? I've seen this video. You have? Mm-hmm. What's up? And I just wanted to say to all you crackalackas. Um, what? When the sun shines, we shine together. Oh, that's... Wish we'd always have forever. And you know you want to be my friend. But why? Because she thinks if she sings songs, you know, by what she believes is African-Americans. But Rihanna is not even African-American. She's from the Caribbean, actually. You can stand under my umbrella. Because she believes Rihanna is African-American.
Ella. I'd like to put in a request for her to sing something else. No. Ashley, no. It don't get no blacker than that, cracker. Hey, girl, why don't you rap some Soulja Boy? I can rap some Soulja Boy. Come on, girl. This is Barbara, by the way. I'm a full-time black woman. Just trying to make my way in this crazy jungle we live in. Speak on it. Anyway. Don't encourage her. No, she is whack. She's my, I mean, we roll, we're both whack. Yeah, that's right. Oh, my God. 9.1%. I don't know. You're not 100%. I'm 100%. Well, that's the only place we differ, but I can relate. I'm 100%. Yes. I'm 100% African-American. Yeah, I'm sure you are. And I let people know that I'm a Hillary supporter so that Hillary can get the black boat. Yeah. Now, let me tell you. Let me tell you, that's why I speak on it. That's why I'm calling right now. It's weird because when Hillary was winning in all the polls and stuff, you would just call in and there was no mention of you being African-American. Now that she's falling behind. Yeah, now that's all you talk about. Well, I mean, I don't just push it on people. I'm not trying to convert anybody here. That's all you've been doing. Yeah. I'm not trying to convert anybody here. Well, you can't convert somebody to...
Their race. That's not true. Haven't you ever heard, once you go black, you'll never go back? I have heard that. Well, yeah. I don't think that's what that means. Excuse me, Eddie, but you are wiggity, wiggity wet. Okay. Now, you're definitely not black. You know what I mean? Definitely not. Speak on it, Eddie. You're slurring. Am I slurring? Yes. Badly. Am I slurring now? When you slow down, it makes it worse. It really does. I'm slurring. Yes. Ella, Ella. Barbara, please. That's enough. All right, you guys, I have to go. I'm meeting my girlfriends. We're going to have our nails did, go out to some soul food. Again, really? I have a hankering for some hush puppies like you would not imagine. And then we're probably going to drink a 40. This is awful. And just chill. Okay. So, all right. All right. Peace out. Peace out. It's Barbara. Wow. She's a piece of work. Brutal. She is so thug. I don't think she's black, though. I do. I do. I love it. I have my doubts. P1 Joey is on the line. Hi, Joey. Hey, what's up? What's going on? Yeah, that black chick on the train, she, in the end, the guy that's, like, yelling at her, telling her to calm down, because...
She's cussing at an old lady. Yeah. She flips out and gets in his face, and, like, she's all yelling at him, and he, like, she gets in his face, and he grabs her face and just pushes her. Really? Yeah, and then she, like, flips out, and she's like, yo, I'm pressing charges, I'm pressing charges. And then, like, she, like, knocks her do-rag off and stuff. Oh, no. And she's like, where's my do-rag, where's my do-rag, I'm pressing charges. Oh, no. Mm-mm-mm. Mm-mm-mm. Thank you for the call. You guys want to hear Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live? Oh, no. Not again. Why does she keep doing this? Because she's funny. Well, let's see. Ashley thinks she's funny. You guys make up your own minds. Now, is it her or is it Amy Poehler? I don't know. Is it? Yeah. Well, I watched Saturday Night Live this weekend, and I didn't see Hillary. I saw Amy Poehler doing her Hillary. Then I don't want to play it if it isn't funny. Is it funny? I think that shortened clip that he has is funny. Let's see the short one. Cut 39. Second, my supporters are racist. Talking about why she'll beat McCain over Obama. If and when I am the nominee, Senator Obama's African-American supporters will be disappointed, perhaps, but they will still rally to me. If, however, Senator Obama is the nominee, my supporters will refuse to vote for him.
Partly because I will secretly tell them not to, but mainly because they are racially biased and would never vote for any African-American candidate. I'm not bragging. That's just the way it is. That's funny. That's funny. Let's see. Oh, I told you this. So Bill Clinton. Clinton. Clinton. He got into it with another Obama supporter. I can't wait for this. This happened in West Virginia. It was about health care. Cut 34. Are you all over this country? She worked 40... Wait a minute. I can't believe you're saying this. Millions of pages of documents that we have released... showing the exhausting work that was done, the tens of thousands of people who consulted, the rallies and movements we had all over the country. Now, wait a minute. I'm listening to you. You interrupted my speech. You let me talk. Look at Sean. Sean loves Bill Clinton. He loves him. Eddie, what do you think? Do you like that he's, you know what, he's not going to take anything? Or do you say, hey, take the IRA? It's great because he's ruining his wife's campaign. It's awesome.
Yeah, I think it does bad for her. I love it. Keep at it. And he doesn't learn. He keeps doing it. He's not going to let anybody walk all over him, Mike. Is that what the deal is? Keep doing it. Sky has the movies that scored big at the box office this weekend. Yep. Number three this weekend at the box office was the new Cameron Diaz, the Ashton Kutcher movie, What Happens in Vegas, making $20 million. That's actually not that bad of an amount, is it? Yeah, there's a lot of money spent at the box office this weekend. Number two, Speed Racer. Get out of here. Now, keep in mind, the movie cost, what, $120 million to make? Yeah. So in their opening weekend, Speed Racer brought in $20.2 million. I think everybody had our same opinion. Yep. It just looks terrible. It's a cartoon. How are they going to make back a hundred and some million if they opened 20 million and then... It'll be big in Japan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe it will be big in Japan. And it's the Wachowski brothers, the guys that did Matrix. Here's Christina Ricci.
who's in the movie talking about them. Cut 51. They know exactly what they're going to be doing. Yeah, cartoons. They have this world worked out completely. So when people are like that, it tends to inspire a lot of confidence and a lot of trust. So it's not like you can say, well, I don't think this would go with what's happening in the background. Because you don't know what the hell's happening in the background. So you kind of really are in a place where you're just like, I'm going to do what they tell me. And if I don't do what they tell me, I probably will not fit with the rest of the film. Okay. Oh, that's good advice. You guys want to hear a scene from the movie? Oh, no. Cut 54. This ain't no dead piece of metal. The car's a living, breathing thing. And she's alive. I like cars that didn't do anything for me. And I like cars. Nothing I wanted more than the backstory for Speed Racer. Yeah, me too. Yeah, going back to the beginning. Uh-huh. And then in the number one spot this weekend for the second week in a row, Iron Man bringing in $50.5 million this week.
Second weekend made $50 million? Yeah. First weekend made over $100 million. Second weekend made over $50 million. I'm in the wrong line. Yeah. Yeah. Huge. That's awesome. Kids should go to college to learn how to make comic book movies. Awesome. Seriously. So here is a girl from Houston who got handcuffed at her prom. That's the story. It's from KHOU TV in Houston. Girl got handcuffed at the prom after she was refused entry because of her skimpy dress. Cut 42. The senior prom, it's usually a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but one student is telling us she never made it inside because of her dress. And that's not all. She also ended up in handcuffs. 11 News reporter Wendell Edwards found out she wants a refund, but the school isn't budging. You know, I actually like the dress. Everybody else likes my dress. We asked 17-year-old Marce Taylor to model the custom-made dress she tried to wear to her senior prom. She shook her head. She was like, you're not getting in this prom. And, you know, we are going back and forth because I want to know why I can't get into my prom. Madison High's prom took place at the Sugar Land Marriott. But Taylor only got so far as a lobby, where a friend snapped these photos. When she tried to enter the ballroom, a sponsor stopped her.
She was told her dress violated a school dress code. Your friends tried to wrap the dress around you and pin it up. Yes, sir, they tried to actually wrap the dress around me like this and pin it up. And she told me I'm still not getting in because I didn't have any undergarments on her. What did you think of that? I asked her what's her problem because I had some. At that point, Marce Taylor says she was furious. After all, this was her senior prom. She argued if she couldn't get in that she wanted her money back. She says things got so bad that at some point, someone called the police. Officers showed up, handcuffed her, and escorted her out. A photographer stamped this picture. Not the prom memory Taylor was expecting. So your only prom picture, really, is in handcuffs. Madison High's principal says the dress was inappropriate. It was revealing in such a way that it would not be appropriate for a prom. They didn't give me any options but to go to jail or go home. Marshae Taylor says she still loves her prom dress, even though in the end, it cost her deal. Mmm. Wow. Have you seen that dress? I'm just clicking on it right now. Yeah, I have. Dude. Yeah, that's a piece of work, huh? That's, uh... Well, I don't know about that dress. What do you mean, Mike? Sky, now you know that that probably would not... What do you mean? You would not let your daughter wear that to the prom.
I like the Usher glasses, the dark glasses, the sun. It's basically what she's wearing is like a mini skirt. And then basically it almost looks like she took a scarf and tried to fashion it as a top. So it like goes around her neck, barely covers her breasts and crosses around to the back. So her whole back is exposed. Her whole stomach is exposed. She's in a tight. Tiny little skirt, and her boobs are just being covered by this thin, like, scarf. Yeah. Okay, and what's great is that the CNN clip, she's, like, walking around in the daytime in it. So CNN must have said, go put it, you know, on, and then we'll film you, like, walking around in the street, you know? Wow. Oh, that's what you're wearing? Oh, wow. Wow. That would be a great... Movie idea. Are you ready? Here's what I'm going to pitch. I'll pitch this movie idea to you, Eddie. Okay. In fact, it will be that guy. Who's the guy that directed Iron Man? Jon Favreau. Jon Favreau plays a guy who adopts a 16-year-old black girl. Okay. He adopts her. Yeah. And it's just him trying to figure out the differences between the two of them. Relate to her. Exactly.
She goes to the prom. She comes out. She's wearing that. Wow. Oh. Well, okay. You're going to the prom. Okay. Oh. Wow. Wow. That's great. Oh. I like it. Do you guys know who Amanda Overmeyer is? Yeah. That's right. That's right. From the American Idol. Now, let me read to you what this says. Oh, no. Former American Idol contestant Amanda Overmeyer sang the national anthem at a Cubs game on Friday. How was it? You be the judge. Oh, no. Got 18. Today, first, our national anthem, Amanda Overmeyer with the honors. So far, so good. So far, so good. High notes coming up. High note in three, two, one. Even higher note in three, two, one. Necessary. Yo, yo, check it out. Check it out, man.
I don't know, man. I don't know. I just, you know what? It wasn't happening for me tonight, man. Like, you sounded like a dude, you know? Like, I don't know, dog. Just not feeling it. Like, about halfway through it, dog, I was wishing you was dead. Just anything but singing, dog. Did you know Tony Romo sang, take me out to the ballgame? What are you talking about? Same team, Cubs. Why? Only this was on Sunday. Why is this happening? And Tony Romo, the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, sang, take me out to the ballgame. Cut 19. Worst piece of audio I've ever heard. Wow. I'm just saying. It's up there. It's definitely a top three. I don't know, dog. I don't know, man. Like, I would say, like, if a turd could, like, actually sing, dog. Oh, my gosh. All right, man. You're going to Hollywood. Sean, YouTube.
Jeff Gordon singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Oh, does he do it too? I'll do it. Oh, no. You want to hear a good one? Yes, please. Oh, yeah. I don't know if I can handle it after that one. Oh, my God. Okay, Jeff. 5701053. Brutal. Okay, so the rumored replacement for Conan O'Brien. Oh, yeah. Oh, wait. You don't want to hear it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do. Don't get some points. Oh, that's bad. Welcome to Wrigley Stadium. Wrigley Park. No. I forget. What is it? Wrigley Sperm and Dome. Wrigley Dome. What? That was bad. Shawnee, do me a favor. Save the stuff on 60 Minutes because tomorrow I want to get to the Baldwin stuff, the Alec Baldwin stuff. Okay. Alec Baldwin was on 60 Minutes talking about the voicemail that he left for his daughter. So I want to hear about that.
Did I miss any of the big stuff? Oh, a hot air balloon made an emergency landing in Fairbanks Ranch over the weekend. And where did it land, Skye? Like in somebody's front yard? No. Yeah. For real? Yeah, yeah. Just all of a sudden. Free rides. Yeah, the San Diego Fire Department said they got calls to a hot air balloon crash and went out to this home in Fairbanks Ranch. And, you know, luckily it landed okay on these people's lawn, but it was like in their front yard, like right by their door. Well, you've got to understand, houses in Fairbanks Ranch, their front yard looks like Torrey Pines golf course. Yeah, no kidding. Oh. It's like, you know. Yeah, but this picture looks like. Let me see. It's kind of. It's like because you can actually see the street. You can see the sidewalk. You see a little patch. Oh, yeah, they're like on the sidewalk. Yeah, a little patch of grass and then the home. That's great. Yeah, and it's right there. But luckily no one was injured or anything, so. Do they know what happened? No, at least not that I read that I could find this warning. Mm-mm-mm. Yeah. I really want to get in a hot air balloon, but I'm afraid of that. Oh, yeah. Like that doesn't really happen, but.
I keep thinking, like, the odds are that it'll happen when I do it. Hey, Sean, are you still there? Man, I want to hear Ozzy. I just wrapped up my stuff. Oh, oh, oh. Tomorrow, try to find this one because this guy's calling about Ozzy singing it. Oh, yeah, I remember that one, too. Ozzy doing Take Me Out to the Ballgame. Dude, was it one of your favorites or what? What up? What's up, man? It was the biggest disgrace in all of video history. I got to hear it. It's quite a statement. I got to hear it. Google. Google that one. You will die. All right. You will die. You will die. Gracias. You will die. Jenna Bush got married over the weekend. Eric Gagne got pulled from the closer role in Milwaukee, which is crazy. Isn't he supposed to be really good, though? No. He's now bad. Yeah, he's terrible. And we didn't actually give the Conan thing yet. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Jimmy Fallon. Oh. Jimmy Fallon is supposed to replace Conan, yeah. Oh, my. Take it easy, Rob. Rob hates him. Viva pitch. Look into it. I like him. Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Hogan, the guy that got into the car accident and his friend died, right? No, he was hurt. He was badly injured in critical condition. What'd he get? Hey, my wife's going to be doing some work up in San Francisco in a couple months, so we're going to make a whole weekend out of it. I was wondering if you might have some restaurants you could recommend to me up there. My niece just went to San Francisco, and she asked me the same question. I actually don't, man. I know it's a question for Sean, probably. Yeah. I actually don't know restaurants. Do you guys? Just go to the wharf, go down to the pier. Yeah, just all the stuff, Pier 39. Pier 39, dude, you can't go wrong. Really? Is there a place to call Dante's still there? Oh, I know what you're talking about, actually. Is that a place that's real well-known because they make this killer salad that you can only get there and it's a big deal? It might be. I think it's Pier 39. It's right by there. Okay, well, I'll shoot Sean an email, too. Go to Chinatown. That's where I really want to go, too, for sure.

I listened to the show enough. I can't forget that. It rhymes with mud. K-U-D-Z-U. But you can go on there, type in the address of where you're going to be staying, and restaurants will come up. You can find a plethora in San Francisco. So check that out, too. I will. Thanks, sweetie. Uh-huh. Oh, that's what rhymes. It's right means what? Oh, so they sound alike. Oh, my God. You didn't say that you can text other seat members. She did. I said that. She did, too. Because I sent the bunny boo messages, and he wouldn't respond to me. He was ignoring me. My fiance wouldn't either. She'd think it was as funny as I did. Yeah. Were you texting your fiance? Well, at first, I was like, babe. The reason she didn't think it was funny is because he was texting the brunette like three rows up. Oh, that's not funny. I did try and joke around and say that. That's funny. All right, you guys. Have a good day. Later. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home.
Hey, I just got a question for Mikey about his saltwater tank. Yes. I'm wondering where he picks up all of his livestock and how things are going with his. I just got into the hobby. It's going good, but I'm getting a little, I get an algae problem right now because one of my lights just burnt out. Oh, right on. Go to, there's two places I would recommend. One place I'll recommend to you is Aquatic Warehouse in Kearney Mesa. They're really, really good, man. They got great. They got great prices, and they really do have good stuff in there. It's a really great place, and the people are really nice at Aquatic Warehouse. And then the other place that I would recommend if you're ever up in North County is a place that I go to called Pond Source. And they're good, too, and they have a lot of good stuff. Pond Source is out in Carlsbad, right? That's right. Awesome, man. Thank you very much. Thank you, brother. Hey, take it easy. We didn't really get to Jenna Bush getting married, but she did. She looked beautiful, man. Did you guys see the pictures? She looked really pretty. Oh, crap. Was that this weekend? Yes. You missed. I forgot. Oh, no. I'm dead. Tomorrow on the show, make sure you're here in studio. Tom Cruise, Avril Lavigne will be performing live in the studio. We will also have Whitney Houston in here admitting to a lot of stuff from the 80s. It'll really be an incredible show. Sounds exclusive. It's going to be very exclusive. Wow. Oh, wow.
Kathy Lee Gifford agreed to come in the studio and have a fist fight with Oprah. Lovely and talented Missy's up next. She's got double shots today. See you tomorrow morning at 5.30. Mike shows up next. Love your mouth.
