It is 6-0-6. Just three days after a record-breaking heat wave, we got a storm yesterday that brought rain, hail, and lightning to the county. Well, was it Petco Park or the moon last night? The Padres hit four home runs as they beat the Reds 8-2. The Padres? The San Diego Padres. What? What do you mean to say to that? Jerry Coleman came on this show and said this team's going to turn around. That's right. Sounds like he meant it or something, you know? Yeah. Like, if you just take it from that, you're like, oh, maybe he meant it. He knows what he's talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That guy's 80-something years old, you know? He's good, though. That guy's still kicking, and he knows his Padres. He hangs out with them. He knows what's up. Okay, so welcome to the show. It's a Mikey show. And I said welcome back to start the program because we took 19 hours off, and now we're back. And we want to do it all over again. Let's get this sucker started.
Let's see. Call us. 570-1053 is our number. And you can call about anything. TV last night, what you're up to this weekend, questions, what's happening over Memorial Day, all that stuff. So, yeah, give us a call. What else? Our text number is 35253. That's always a good number to have. And our phone number, 570-1053. Our website is MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Let's see. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm wearing a blue t-shirt. Thank you very much. Appreciate that a lot. And I have a shaved head. So it's wonderful to see you. And I appreciate all of the concern about the blue shirt. I don't know what else to tell you about it, really. There was concern? I think that most people heard that and they're like, oh, I hope that works out. So I just want to let everybody know, you know, I'm doing the best I can with it. Good. Glad to hear it. We'll do our best.
Eddie is our producer and our sports guy. And today he has on a black t-shirt, so congratulations, Eddie. Yeah. I win. Yeah. I think a lot of people probably just turned to their radios when I announced he had a black t-shirt on and went, oh, good for you. Yeah. You know? Yeah, it really works today. I think a lot of people wish that their t-shirts could be black today, and that's just kind of an inspirational story. Listen, I win. That's right. Someday. That's right. Reach these goals. That's right. Eddie is going up north this weekend. I'm going to go out and put out the fires. That's right. They need you. You're going to stomp them out. Stomp them out? I think it's a little bigger than a stomp. I thought that's what you're supposed to do. Stop, drop, and roll. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're supposed to stop, drop, and roll. Have you talked to anybody up there? I called my dad yesterday because, you know, all the reports on TV were, you know, Gilroy's on fire and all this. Oh, they actually used the word Gilroy on the news? That's the point of reference. West of Gilroy. I watched the news yesterday and they said Gilroy. No way. Everything I saw was west of Gilroy because it's the part of the Santa Cruz Mountains that's a little more south. More by like Watsonville. So it's like directly west of Morgan Hill. Aye, aye, aye. Yeah.
So it's not even... No. And my dad said the winds were going to switch last night and help out the firefighters. So it was going to blow back towards where it's already been burned. Okay. So it's actually, they're going to be in good shape, I think. That's good. Yeah. That's good to hear. Skye is our news girl. Hi, Mike. She has on a very comfortable looking sweatshirt that looks very cozy. Because it's winter. That's right. Winter? It is. Didn't you go outside yesterday? Well, all I know is a friend of ours was standing out in front of the house the other day and goes, how did it get so cold? And I go, I don't know. Like, what did happen? A storm moved in. Is that what the deal is? Yeah. And it just brought old man winter with it? Dude, it was crazy, especially, you know, because I live out in like East Escondido and the thunder, like shaking the whole house. It was nuts. My mom said it was thunder, lightning, rain. Yeah, heavy rain. Sky said there's, like, tornadoes in Riverside. Yeah, there were two tornadoes. Real tornadoes? Yes, two real tornadoes touched down in Riverside County yesterday. How about floods and drought? Are we getting any of that? Where's that turning up? It's like, thank you for the apocalypse. Locusts? Yeah. Lots of locusts. It rained frogs over at my place. Wow. Well, there you go. So, how long did that go on, Sky? The thunder or the lightning?
Um, probably for like a good hour, you know, it was just kind of this real dark patch of clouds that just moved through and all of a sudden this, you know, just started dumping and then the thunder and the lightning. It's crazy. We got to turn the monitor down a little bit. This guy's trying to get fresh with you. We have, uh, we have some, uh, guests in the studio this morning. And so we have a monitor that we've worked out for him because we haven't figured out how to do that professionally yet. Tiny little speaker. Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. That we just prop on the counter. It works the opposite of good. Yeah, that is a fact, yes. So, you know, that's one way to say it. Uh-huh, uh-huh. That's a way to put it, is that the effectiveness of the speaker is the opposite of, oh, yeah, it works really well for the situation it's in. Yeah.
Because if it's too low, they can't hear anything. But if it's too high, then we get all this feedback through the mic. So it's really awesome. It's touching, isn't it? Yeah. Skye is 30 years of age. Hi. Skye's got a cool thing about her that a lot of ladies probably wish they had. And that is that Skye, if she doesn't wear any makeup, she's still pretty. Wow. Well, thank you. That's nice to hear. I think a lot of chicks wish that was the deal. I wish that was a deal with myself, but I have to put on full makeup. Yeah, sometimes you do. A lot of base. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have a really good foundation that I just found at MAC. That's nice. And it works really, really good. Well, my eyeshadow just compliments your eye color. It really makes those brown eyes pop. Well, and I just switched to this eyeliner because I was allergic to the last one. That happens, Mike. And I cry a lot, and this one doesn't. This one doesn't run at all. It doesn't smear. It doesn't run. And you know me. I try to cry. Get at least good six, seven cries in a day. Oh, wow. A day? A day. Yeah, yeah. It's healthy, though. Really healthy. It's cleansing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Somebody told me yesterday. They go, can I do an imitation of you? What? Yeah. And I go, yeah. And they go, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I was like, I go, I do that? And they go, yeah. And I go, like, how? And they do it. It's like, I did it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I guess I do. I didn't realize. Sean's our sound effects guy. Shawnee, oh boy, show them what you do. Are you sure? Show them what you got, little Shawnee. Show them what you made of, Shawnee. Show them what you made of, Shawnee. That's what I'm talking about. That is Sean's job description. Like when he goes to the doctor's office for the first time and you have to fill out all the paperwork and it says job description, he puts sound FX in that little box. That's great. Yeah, real good. Real good, real sweet and fresh. Wow. And Ashley is as cute as a button. She's got blonde hair and she is our assistant producer and she does assistant producer things a lot. She does a lot of behind the scenes stuff.
She's constantly working during the commercials to do stuff, and she's got a lot of information there. If she were to take a fire wire and plug it into her brain, she could download it to Keanu Reeves in the movie The Matrix, and then he could be an assistant producer. Wow, yeah. And it would be like downloading into his brain. And every once in a while, his head would be twitching as it's going in there, and every once in a while, he'd be like, Craig Gass. And he'd yell out somebody's phone number. Boston Rob is our phone screener. And he is also a singer-songwriter. And he's written a new song that we're going to play today. Oh, yes. We're going to drop a new B-Rob song today. That's right. It's going to be great. And Rob is screening your phone calls. Even though it's open phones, we just want to make sure that he's not going to put on anybody that's going to cuss. So he's making sure nobody will cuss. 570-1053 is our phone number. Give us a call.
And then Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates III, Esquire Jr. He is a nice young man, very tall, and he has a shaved head. Kind of. No, no, no. Now it's growing back in. I had to look at him. I hadn't seen him for a few weeks, so I just looked at him right now. I'm like, oh, no, he's got an afro. I guess I came back. That's good. So give us a call. And our text number is 35253. Let's introduce our guests that are in the studio. We have two guests that came in because they won P1 Trivia. We have P1 Choco. Where are you, Choco? Hey, how you doing, man? It's good to see you. And Choco is 30 years old. And he is a house husband, it says, for his day job. You got kids? No kids yet. You got no kids? Nice. And he also rides a unicycle. Self-taught. How about that? Check you out. Wow. Well, he's got some time during the day so he can help me. I do not. I do not ride the unicycle. I don't. I know a lot of people thought that. I do not. Could you ride it on a tightrope? Not yet. No? I'm getting there. That would be cool.
What would be cool is if we could get like a stunt on the news where we tied a tightrope from building to building and we had P1 Choco come over and ride it with a unicycle. Oh, yes. That sounds dangerous. That'd be pretty cool. P1 Corman's also in here. Morning, Mike. What's going on, dude? Not much. He's in the Navy and 10th year in the Navy. 10th year in the Navy, yeah. Wow. How do you say this? What's your rank? Como se dice... Rank. Rank. Como se dice... I'm an E5, so in the Navy it's second class payoffs. That's cool. My dad was an E8. That's all I know. I don't know what it meant. I don't know what that is. I just know that he was an E with an 8 after it. Senior chief. There you go. Nice. That's right. The beard. He had a beard. Yeah, he did. Yeah. So, there you go. He has a man crush, by the way. P1 Corman does on Indiana Jones. Wow. That is a little known fact. Not enough people know that about him, but I think it's important to note. Yeah. Yeah, he got into a whole fight on P1Site.com with the other people about Indiana Jones. Really? Well, he saw it, right? Well, he has seen it now, but this was prior to it coming out. Oh. And there was some people on P1Site that, you know, thought it kind of looked stupid. Oh, no, they didn't. And Corman was getting upset.
So, Corman, were you kind of explaining to them, no, this is why that's cool? Well, they were just trying to give me the business, basically. Two upset me. You weren't having it. No, it wasn't having it. So, did you like the movie? He's like, no, I thought it was stupid. Unfortunately, I still have not seen it. I know. That's your boy. We were going to see it yesterday, but my son had a fever last night, so we couldn't go. No babysitter last night. What? It's Indiana Jones. Exactly. The wife is just as excited as me, so I couldn't leave her. You're going to see it twice anyway. Twice? I'm going right after that. Twice today. Are you really? Is that when you're going? So you're a fan of the whole series and the whole franchise. Oh, absolutely. Can I just tell you what happens at the end so that you know what the secret is? You shouldn't. You're going to ruin it. I want him to be prepared. You're going to ruin it. Don't give him the secret of the Orange Crush. It's Indiana Jones and the secret of the Orange Crush. That is what it's called. P1, Matt is on the line. Matt. Hey, Matt. Hey, Matt. Hey, Matt. I just want to know who does the song you guys opened up with. Yes. We should put that on the website, that information. Definitely. That's Buddy Guy. Buddy Guy? Buddy Guy.
Awesome. Yeah, I also wanted to add that B-Rob's doing a great job screening calls. He was very adamant that I not cuss or say my name. He's a good employee. Yeah, there you go. There you go. Thank you very much. Thanks. P1JD. Uh-oh. Rob, come on for crying out loud. It's your job to make sure they're still there. Bad employee. P1Hector is on the line. Good morning, Mike. What's going on, Hector? Hey, not much, man. I just called and wished everybody a safe Memorial Weekend, and I was wondering where Mikey's cousin Beto's been at. Has he been locked up? I've been sitting right here the whole time, dude. I'm always in... It's his nephew, too. It's not his cousin. Yeah, dude, he's not my cousin. I'm his nephew. That's true. Right on. I'm always sitting behind Uncle Mikey playing my Nintendo because he, uh, if I talk... You're Nintendo? Nintendo. Playing my Nintendo NT. What? Right on. Hey, will you guys have a safe weekend? And you guys be careful out there. Whatever, dude. Thank you. Let's fight. What? Why are you wanting to fight him? He said nice things. Be cool. Later, alligator. Okay, nobody says that. Hey, after a while, crocodile. All right, Benzo. Back to your Nintendo. Definitely don't say that. It's not a Nintendo he's playing. It's not.
It's so weird. It's just a can of beer. He keeps reading the label. I feel bad for Beto because he thinks all bad stuff is good. He's just all mixed up. He's young. He's very confused. You're confused. Yeah, he's a bit disrespectful too. He'll just say things like that. 570-1053 is the phone number. Give us a call. Beginning and end of every show, we let you talk about whatever. Eddie says that his wife has added something new to her sleeping repertoire. Oh, no. Yay. What now? So we've gone through laughing. Yes. In her sleep. Yes. In her sleep. Talking. Violently kicking. Right. Right. Eating. Eating? Yes. Eating. She's gotten up, eaten, and not realized she did it. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. It happens. It happens.
Sky knows all about that. It happens sometimes. Sky did it too. And then last night, we decided she's going to start snapping. Snapping. Her fingers. Like, can you do, like, was it a tune or was it a... No, it wasn't. It was, don't you do that. What am I doing? What am I doing? I'm sleeping. That's... She's the best. That's great. Oh, she's snapping. Well, you deserved it. I don't know that she was talking to me, Scott, to be honest with you. Of course she was. That is a very vivid dream. Yeah. I mean, it's vivid enough. She's snapping. You know what I mean? She ain't having it. Wow. Now, does she remember her dreams? No. Well, she does remember her dreams, but she usually doesn't remember when she does wacky stuff like that. Yeah. Huh. My wife either. Like, I'd be like, what were you dreaming about?
You're right. When you said, I'm going to slap that bald head. What were you, what did that, what do you think that was? P1, word heard is calling in and that is H-E-R-D. That's how he spells it. Word heard. What's up, dude? Hey, what's up, guys? What's going on? Does anybody on the show watch So You Think You Can Dance? Yes. Yeah. Did you guys see that dude at the end of it who, the last dancer was like, plastic man with the double joints, he could pop behind his back. I did not. When was the... No, this show's not on anymore, right? No, last night. It was on last night. It was the season premiere. Oh, oh, oh. Yeah, it's a summer show. Okay. If you TiVo is the last dancer on that, I used to breakdance in high school. I can still do some stuff. Nice. I can. But what breakdancing has done today is unbelievable. Right. Yeah, it's pretty sick. They still breakdance today? Oh, yeah. They're nuts. They're good. We got to get the two back together. Yeah, for sure. You and me, Andy. We'll pop and lock, baby. That's right. On a long audition, you see if you're any good. Right on. Well, if you guys haven't seen it yet, you should see if there's a clip on YouTube. It's unbelievable. It's worth seeing. Yeah, I want to see it. I will never watch that show. Ever, ever, ever. Why? Because of that woman.
That's on that show. I don't know what her name is. She grows on you. No, I want to take an axe to her face. Yeah, I'm sure you do, but then she grows on you. It's actually worth watching just for the audition. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's such a good show. It's my favorite show on television. I'll never watch it ever, ever, ever. I love it. She is the worst human being on earth. No, she's not. She grows on you. Ashley, you know she intentionally tries to irritate the audience. No. She's a local lady. She's a local lady. She screams at the people. She's energetic. She may be listening to you right now. I don't care. I hate you. Thank you, word heard. Pop, lock, and drop it, Eddie. Eddie's getting it. I get it. P1 Sancho is on the line. Hey, what's up, dude? Where you been, bro? What? Is that my friend, Sancho? Hey, what's up? What's going on, Sancho? Do you know Beto? Beto? I listen to him whenever he's on. Yeah, dude, remember you used to buy me beers. Oh, whoa. No, you're only 14. No, dude, I'm 25. Yeah, then why would you need somebody to buy you beers? Thank you. Because, dude, I didn't have my wallet on me. Oh, really? I left it at my ex-wife's house. You've never been married.
Yeah, dude. And so I was like, oh, I forgot my wallet to buy all my 21s. What? I call everything you have to be 21 for my 21s. Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, like last week, dude, I went over to Harrah's and I was like, oh, man, I forgot my 21s. What did you say? Yeah, dude. And so the dealer was all, hey, where's your ID, little one? And I was all, oh, dude, I forgot my 21s. The dealer called you little one? Yeah, dude, I was wearing a bonnet at the time. A bonnet? So what's going on, Sancho? Anyway, so I commute from Paris, California to Carlsbad every morning. And yesterday on the way home, there was a big tornado. And it took out a... I took out a tractor trailer and a railroad car, and I live right down the street from it, and I'd never seen a tornado in California before, and that's the first. Really? So was it real scary looking? Yeah, it was pretty crazy. I mean, it must have been at least, I don't know, maybe the cars were really low, but I mean, the way it came in, I mean, it just took up all the dirt, and it knocked down the, maybe the tractor trailer was probably about 100 feet in front of me, but it took the tractor trailer out.
It crossed that, and then it hit the railroad tracks, and it took over three box cars. There you go. That's crazy. That's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. And then Bill Paxton showed up. Oh, good. That's right. Studied it. Let's film this. They're like, let's throw bubbles up into it. Little glass bubbles. Yeah. Little glass things that give us information. And for some reason, Philip Seymour Hoffman's in this. Yeah, for no apparent reason. He's a good actor. He shouldn't be. At all. Why is he here? What's he doing? Dusty. All right, thanks for the call. I appreciate it. P1 Rubber Duck is on the line. Good morning, guys. How you doing? Good, man. What's up? Well, since we were on the topic earlier about shirts, you know, you're wearing a blue shirt. Eddie's wearing a black shirt. Well, I was wondering if Sean's wearing two shirts today. I don't know. Sean is a good question. It's a legitimate question is what it is. It's legitimate. And as it turns out, no, Sean is wearing simply a T-shirt. Well, he's wearing the undershirt. I'm not wearing a T-shirt. But we know the second shirt. It looks like a T-shirt. I'm looking at it right now. It's not a T-shirt. It does look like a T-shirt. But we know there's a second shirt to come. But, Skye, we're looking right at it. It's white. It looks like a T-shirt. It's not a T-shirt. I mean, you would think that if, you know, you're in front of a jury and everything, you held that sucker up as Exhibit A, they'd say, yeah, T-shirt.
So what do we think the second shirt is today? Because we have a handful of options. Oh, to go over this. Yes, we have the green polo. We have the Hawaiian shirt. We have the Woody Carr shirt. And he has one with him. Let's not worry about it. It's not the green polo. He wore that yesterday or the day before. It's not that. So whatever it is he has with him now. Oh, yes. He puts it on when the office people start to show up. I will say. It's Friday. It's Fun Day Friday. It's Fun Day Friday. I would say Hawaiian shirt with the woody cars on it. That's a good one. Really good guess. I'm going to go Hawaiian shirt with the floral print. Eddie. I'm going to say he's going to rock your guys' world. What? And wear that weird graphic tee that he got. Oh, I didn't even do that. I can't. I'm not ready for that. Rock your world. We are going into a holiday weekend, so that could be. Sean, did we get one of those right? Yeah, let's see, Sean. Give us the reveal. Come on. Come on. Come on, Sean. Why would I want to do that? Because we want it to be like the radio version of The Swan, like at the end of it.
Here he is. And, like, look at this beautiful gal. Why would I want to help you make fun of me? No, no. I think you're thinking of it the wrong way. Why would anybody want to do it? I mean, obviously, you're thinking of it differently than we are. Play the drum roll, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Give the drum roll for yourself. Yes. And then reveal it. And then reveal what it is that you... Tell you what. Here's a drum roll for you. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Oh, wow. Look what he did. Oh, my God. Look what he did. And we have people here in the studio. They can see. Look over at Sky's computer. You can see what Sean's done. He's taken his camera and he's completely jacked it up. That's awful. That's just a bad attitude. We just want to see your shirt. Sean's equivalent of checking out. This is just like trivia. Yeah. I thought that he would show us what was going on. We could move on if we knew what you... Yeah, Sean, before... Oh, no. This is not going to help. This is not going to help. It's not the time. Hey, before anybody can move on, they have to see the loveliness of your shirt, dude. Come on. Yeah, dude, come on. Everybody is waiting on pins and needles. Look, Uncle Sean, I am on the edge of my seat. He literally is, Sean. Oh, my goodness. I feel I could fall off if I don't know what Uncle Sean is wearing today. Sean, you better tell us.
Yeah, Uncle Sean, just think. If you don't tell us, how could we go through with our day? Thank you. Oh, he's so mad. Don't be mad, Sean. Don't be like this. Please, Uncle Sean. Move on. I'll send you a grass skirt to go along. This is where we get into trouble. Maybe I should sing a song. Or not. Maybe you should shut up. Oh, no. Uncle Sean, he is my friend. He is my friend until the end. That's nice. Sean signed off his camera. Thanks. Great, Beto. Way to go. You ruined everything. Now you ruined everything. Please, Uncle Sean, accept my song.
Look how sweet he is. There's a sign of my love for you. My uncle Sean. Let me do one more verse. Be that way, Sean. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, good morning. What's going on? Hey, check this out. It's been about a year since you guys had the get-together at Hooters. Get-together at Hooters? Yeah. It's been about, like, three years. Yeah, it's been three years. We did a mud rustling outside of Hooters in a big, gigantic... Pool. Sky was in it. Yes, she was. Listeners. Top off and everything. It was great. Is that true? Negative. Wow. No. I can't sleep until we have another one. I can't. I have to go to therapy until then. Wow. I don't know, man. You should plan it. Get on that, bro. Yeah, what? I mean. Figure it out. Get some work done, bro. I'm on it. Get on that sucker.
Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much. We appreciate it. Oh, yeah. This is State of Emergency. I'm back. Today on the show, we're going to drop Rob's new song. So, as you know, John McGain is a conservative Republican, and he went on Ellen DeGeneres' show yesterday, and they talked about gay marriage. Oh, boy. So how could that have gone down? We'll find out. Also, audio of this. Did Tim Russert fart on television? Right now, right now, it is very unclear. This is one of those situations where you decide for yourself. You know they're doing this this morning on KPBS as well. For sure. We also know what Eddie and B-Rob's next challenge is going to be, and we'll tell you about it later in the show.

We'll hook it up to the internet and then people can listen to the show in a very different way, a visual way. I like it. Yeah. You're listening only with, not with ears. Yeah.
Listen with your eyes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It'll be like our new campaign. Listen with your eyes? Yeah, yeah. Cricket Wireless says. It's radio. And do it for free. But it's radio. This is great. That was a good one. You liked Eddie's text? Yeah, it was a good one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He texted both of us at the same time. He's a jokester. Now, Skye, what is the website? It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. This Memorial Day, start your weekend with Indy. I cover my ears if I were you. Critics and audiences everywhere are cheering for Indiana Jones. Rated PG-13. Maybe inappropriate for children under 13. Now playing. Step into a Baja Fresh and you'll notice three things. The pulsing rhythm of Latin music. We've got no major problems to deal with. Pretty much just slow speeds developing in some spots and some drizzle coming down in some areas of the county as well. So be careful with that. Making the roadways a little slick here this morning. South on 7 to 5, pretty much just a minor delay to Carlsbad from Cannon Road out to Palomar Airport Road.
The coaster rides make that South 15, rather, out of Escondido. That's a little tight now from Felicita, the Via Rancho Parkway. Some reduced speeds again through Rancho Bernardo. Looking good, though, out of the East County, the westbound 8, the 52, the 94. All these freeways looking fine into the city. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Mikey's show continues. With Mikey. I find that I am actually afraid of many animals. Eddie. I train my brain to try and move objects. Sky. I am extremely frugal and pretty much only buy things when they're on sale. Sean. I tend to think a lot about creating inventions for law enforcement. Boston Rob. I'm the only guy I know that's able to pull off, getting pulled over in the courthouse parking lot wall parking. And get a ticket. And Ashley. I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. The Mikey Show's on. It's worth every penny. Rock 105.3. It's 640. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have sent a cease and desist letter to the owner of an L.A. baby store. They claim the store is giving false information to the media. The Padres had to make a lot of roster moves yesterday. They had to place Chris Young and Josh Bard on the disabled list, designated Justin Germano for assignment, and sent Joe Thatcher to the minors.
Going to play the movie word association game a little while later. Also, Battle of the Sexes, so Chantel will be coming in the studio. Still nobody knows what Chantel looks like. We should do a picture today. Get her up on MikeyShow.com so people can see the lovely and talented Chantel. So, Senator John McGain, he is the Republican nominee for President of the United States of America. Well, he's the next president, Mike. Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Let's just be honest. I don't know. Let's just be honest, Sean. Yeah, let's. If he's still alive when the election hits. Really? That's how you're going to play this? Well, I'm just saying. He's a little older. He's a little cryptkeeper. He's a little older. Holy cow. The oldest, in fact. Now, he had... War hero. War heroes aren't allowed to age? Is that what you're saying? You're a bad person. Is that what you're saying? So, he goes on, Ellen. As you know, conservative Republican. And so, conservative Republicans usually...
Don't go the gay marriage route. Not so much. And so yesterday he was on with well-known homosexual Ellen DeGeneres. Yep. Superstar homo. Superstar homosexual. She has been called the homosexual of comedy. Ladies and gentlemen, Ellen DeGeneres. No, so she had him on yesterday. And she announced the day that they made the announcement that, you know, gays could marry. that she was going to marry her girlfriend, Portia DeMartini. Mike. And they will be married. De Rossi. Yes, it's a wonderful wine, but it comes in a box. Such a dork. Asti Spumante. Yes, Asti Spumante. And a Portia De Rossi to you. Okay. Very dry. That's right. So here was Ellen and Senator McGain. Talking it out, cut one. I was planning on having a ceremony anyway this summer, even though it wasn't legal, but I feel that at least I get to celebrate my love. And then it just so happened that I legally now can get married, like everyone should. And I saw where someone even registered you. Someone, yeah, yeah, illegally registered me, but yeah. So I'm obviously excited, and to me this is...
Only fair and only natural. And what are your thoughts? Well, my thoughts are that I think that people should be able to enter into legal agreements. And I think that that is something that we should encourage, particularly in the case of insurance and other areas, decisions that have to be made. I just believe in the unique status of marriage between man and woman. And I know that we have a respectful disagreement on that issue. Boy, all of the clapping and noise in the background is deafening, isn't it? On the Ellen DeGeneres show. I mean, it's just, man, that audience seems behind those comments. That's what rings out the most clear, you know. Pause. I mean, I think that it is looked at, and some people are saying the same, that blacks and women did not have the right to vote. I mean, women just got the right to vote in 1920. Blacks didn't have the right to vote until 1870. And it just feels like there's this old way of thinking that we are not all the same. We are all the same people. All of us. You're no different than I am. Our love is the same. Now applause. Now applause.
Tell me what it feels like. Just, you know, I will speak for myself. It feels when someone says you can have a contract and you'll still have insurance and you'll get all that. It sounds to me like saying, well, you can sit there. You just can't sit there. That's what it sounds like to me. It feels like. Yes. It feels isolated. It feels like we are not, you know, we aren't owed the same things and the same wording. So. Well, pause. He's like. What did you think about David Archuleta? Can we please change the topic? Oh, man. What's your favorite film? On pause. It feels isolated. It feels like we are not, you know, we aren't owed the same things and the same wording. Well, I've heard you articulate that position in a very eloquent fashion. I have a disagreement, and I, along with many, many others, wish you every happiness. Thank you. So you'll walk me down the aisle? Is that what you're saying? Well, my hope is someday it won't be called a contract. It'll be called marriage. But anyway, so... Okay, we got it. Jeez. You know, 61% of Californians disagree with you and this audience, but hey, who am I to be 61%? You probably shouldn't go there, McCain. Yeah, yeah.
I'm surprised she didn't give him a heart attack right there. You know, she is absolutely entitled to that opinion. It must have been tough being McGain sitting there under that, man. But he should have known that going into it. What does he expect? I'm sure he did. Well, maybe he thought she'd give him a break because he's in there. But essentially, you're sitting in someone's house and they're like, you know. She's got the home field advantage. Yeah, you know. So that's a tough one. Let's have Ellen go to the Republican National Convention. Yeah. How they respond. Right. And where the applause comes from. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. But she probably wouldn't want to go there.
But McCain made the choice to go there. Unless... Wrong. You're so dumb. I mean, you're really dumb. Thank you. Well, listen, I think that this is going to be a very interesting summer, man, as this thing starts going. When we start hearing the debates between Obama and McCain, since that's what it looks like it's going to be, Obama and McCain, who's going to be the next president? John McCain might. Barack Obama. Now, Eddie, let me ask you. Let me ask you, Eddie. I want you to think about it like American Idol. Don't give her a dirty look. She can say who she wants. She doesn't want Obama. Yes, she does. She doesn't? No, I will talk to her. Actually, who do you want? Obama. Oh, I thought you didn't. I thought you want McCain. You aren't Jedi. You want McCain. You can't. You want McCain. No, you don't want McCain. So, Eddie, is it a situation where you, who you want, but who you think, or do you think it will be McCain and you want McCain? Yeah, I think it will be McCain and I do want McCain. Yeah. Boy, I hope so. That's what I would want, but I don't know. I think people get swept up in this Obama business. He's the best.
Well, I think once he wins the nomination and the debates start and all that stuff, I think there's a lot of stuff that's going to probably be shown about him that he's not ready for, I don't think. I hope so. We'll see. We'll see. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Sorry, they hung up. You want to hear something that Shawnee wrote to me? Yeah. So we have everybody on the show writes me, lets me know how they're... Day went yesterday. Gives us material stuff to talk about. Like what's going on in our lives. Mikey shows reality show on the radio. And so Shawnee wrote, last night my wife screams for me to come to the other room. I walk in the kitchen and there on the floor is the biggest spider I've ever seen. He says we trapped it under a glass bowl. I whipped out the video camera. Shot some video from my blog. Then in a coordinated effort, Dina lifted the bowl.
And I clobbered him with my size 14 spider killer. Oh, man. He says we were both screaming like 12-year-old girls at a Jonas Brothers concert. That is true. So is it on your blog? Is it on there, Shawnee? Yeah, I put it on there. Is it on there now? Yeah, it's on there now. Oh, my. I'm going. Yeah, yeah. Go to MikeyShow.com. I'm going. Go ahead, Sean. The spider was huge, Mike. Uh-oh. If I get to this blog and this spider. It was half spider, half Bigfoot. I'm sure. We'll be the judge. I'm not kidding here. So it's loading right now. It was incredibly frightening. It's called Spider in the Kitchen is the name of the video. Let's watch. Look at that thing. Hey, you don't cuss, do you? Uh, no. Ooh, that is big. Look at that thing. Last thing right here. Size 13, 14 spider killers. I don't want you either.
Dude. No big deal, but he's dead set on biting someone. He's got to go. But that's what happened to my house. You didn't show the death? No, I didn't show the death. Oh, that's what I want to see, man. Well, this is what I want to know. Why didn't Sean just do what Bear Grylls would do? What, put him in my mouth and eat him? Of course. It's great protein. Just avoid the head. That's what he always does. To be honest with you, Mike, if I had a fake spider made out of gelatin, I would have. How dare you. And how dare you. And retired to the Hilton. And how dare you. That is one creepy looking spider. Dude, it was so awful, man. Why are you mad at me? I'm not even the one saying it. Why do you say nicely done? You've never even seen the show. He's the smartest creative man. Sean.

We'll be right back. The search for the crystal skull is on. Indiana Jones, rated PG-13, now playing. Is this Rebecca? Yes, it is. I understand that you went to sleep train. Yes, I did. What happened? Well, my husband and I went back last May. We just got married, so we bought our new mattress. We got a really good deal on it. They threw in free sheets and pillows because we said we heard about it through you. And they also gave us the free mattress protector, so it was really cool.
And I referred my mom to go there because she is buying a bed for my grandmother just this last week. And she went to the Curdie Mesa store, and they actually beat the price on a Costco mattress. The Sleep Train was selling it for, I think, around $1,000, and then the Costco price was like $500-something. So they beat that, which is awesome. They just won Best Mattress Store, and there's a reason for it. They're really good. The prices are great, and if you're getting one of these good name brand mattresses, or no matter what you're looking for, they're great. How is that mattress in terms of being comfortable? No, I was actually just hitting my floor pedal. Oh, you do? Yeah, so, you know, it's just for the audience. Welcome back. It is 7-0-2. A judge ruled yesterday that the five guys accused in the beating death of a La Jolla professional surfer will stand trial for murder. NBA playoffs last night. Detroit ended Boston's 15-game home winning streak, winning Game 2. Richard Hamilton says there was a big difference between Game 1 and Game 2. That's cut 67. When we made cuts and we made moves, it was all in motion. You know, it wasn't just like a guy got the ball in the wing, Defense, one guy in the corner. Now, you know, they're good at that. But we just kept motion, you know, coming off screens, coming off curls, making them react, you know. And I thought the guys did an excellent job of moving the ball. Wow. That meant stuff. He meant stuff. Like when he was saying that, that all had meaning to it, and it all meant a specific thing. I didn't understand. One, the wing.
I thought you were going to explain it to us. Wing and motion and whatever. Wings and things. Yes, wings and things. They have the best wings. That's what I hear. I would love to sit down with that man with a dry erase board and a dry erase pen and have him explain what those things meant. Because I did not understand any of that. And I would like to. Yeah, you should. I love it. My boy Gary's in here, man. My friend Gary is a barbecue master, dude. Yes, that is the truth. Ishi Anato. That's right. He has brought us, he brought us to the 28-Hour Show, and he's actually a friend of mine, and he's a good guy, man, and he's got a great website. And he has the perfect name for the perfect, you know, hobby and job, and it all goes together. His last name is Notley. Okay. So his website is www.notleyq.com. Nice. Guy loves barbecue. That's great, man. Yeah, so it's notleyq.com. And they deliver barbecue to all the Charger home games, tailgate parties, and they can barbecue for you, too. And it really is delicious, delicious food. And he's got a really interesting story. Really quickly, Gary, come around over here.
Come around over here. So the story is, first of all, dude is Canadian, right? Yeah. You're from, where are you from? I was born in Winnipeg. Oh, you hoes. Nice. We used to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So tell me this. When did you come to the United States? 93. 93. And tell the story about how you became a barbecue guy. I just... Got tired of paying like 60 bucks at all these places for like a dinner for two that one person could eat. And I figured, you know, I'll try this myself. And I started doing it and started tasting good. And then everybody was telling me how awesome the food tasted. So I started competing and just went from there. That's so cool. So, I mean, he started out from just a guy that loved the taste of barbecued food. And decided from nowhere, he was just like, I'm going to learn how to do this, do it right. And he does, man. He competes in these barbecue competitions, right? Yeah. And you do pretty good. Yeah. I placed in like the top 10 in the state on a pretty consistent basis. Yeah. And there's some pretty tough teams out here, teams that compete nationally. You know, to be in the top 10 is pretty good. That's cool, man. Well, thank you, dude. I appreciate it. And hang out. Hang out. Don't go. Hang out and chill.
The website is www.notleyq.com, N-O-T-L-E-Y-Q-U-E. And you can check out what he has to offer. It's really good stuff. And why don't we, oh, where is it? We need, we'll do it later. We'll do it later. Actually, you know what I want to do right now? What? I want to play Rob's new song. Oh. Yes. What's that? Well, B-Rob has a new song that's going to drop. Oh, drop it. That's right. Like it's hot? As you know, Rob is a phone screener, but he's also a singer-songwriter. And so Rob has put together a parody song here. And Eddie, how would you describe this? I mean, it's a very popular ditty he's done. A very popular song. One that everybody will know. Perfect. And so does anybody have any feelings on this before we get started? Maybe we shouldn't.
How's that, Rob? You went out on your own and did this. Let's make that known, by the way. Before we get started, let's make it known. Rob's idea. What? Rob's idea. So we all know. This was Rob's idea. What's the controversy? Why are we stating these facts? Well, there is a little bit of a controversy, Sky. I'm glad you brought that up. We shouldn't play this. No, I disagree. Nope. Yes. Normally, we don't state these kind of facts before you play one or wrong. It's a little dangerous. Yeah, this is a little bit different, though. This is a little bit different. Why? Well, a little background. No, no. Here we go. No, let's just play it. Why don't we do that? Let's just. Oh, no. In the club? Isn't this the song Ashley wants to do a song to? No, I don't remember. And you guys told her she couldn't because no one knew this song? Yeah, but then Rob presented it, and it seemed like a good idea. I don't know why. Well, that's not fair. That's not fair at all. But you said it was a good idea, Chantel. Before we started playing, you said this was a good idea. That was before I knew the background. I was searching for a drink that would not make me want to fight. Going halves on a baby. My fiance's getting lucky tonight. Hope I don't pass out because I've been drinking all day long. Looking drunk and looking like Cheech or Chong. Captain Morgan got me slurring and telling lies.
Might fall down after another drink or two. Showing off my Irish puking while burping. I can't tell if I'm talking to a guy or a girl. I'm wicked drunk. It's another inebriated be-rizzle, shizzle shot for your mizzle. Flows off the tongue. Flows. Danny DeVito and George Clooney after a night of limoncellos. I have no idea. Yeah. Be easy, back in the heezy, in the studio. My mom, boy, FDZ, Fasheezy, Arizy, Reese's Pieces, Peanut Butter Cups. I don't even know, PB&J. What? Reese's Pieces. Wow. I don't know the song, but that's hysterical. I gotta tell you, that couldn't have gotten better.
Ashley could have done a way better job. Oh, for sure. No question about that one. No question. I really liked it. I'm so sorry, Ashley. I really liked it. That was great. Hey, listen, now that it's been proven to work, I think Ashley should do one. I think, yeah. But she's been trying to do one for like four weeks, and every week you tell her, no, nobody knows that song. Oh, yeah, but then I heard it, and I was like, oh, everybody knows that song. I mean, come on, that's a very popular song. he sang it too, that's a big thing. Whatever. Ashley's going to blow it out the water. You just wait. That's right. Ashley, blow it out the water. Ashley, you're welcome for opening that door for you. That's right. No need to thank me. That's right. Ashley, I think you owe Rob a big debt of gratitude. For sure. I think she's mesmerized by the fine lyrics. Is that what you're thinking that look is in that room? It's a mesmerized look? Is that what you were thinking that was? A mesmerized look? Time to play. I just like the part of the song that goes girls. Because you're the best. Why wouldn't you? P.S. I went to another wedding. Oh, wow. You go to a lot of weddings. It's every weekend.
Yeah, are you a professional wedding-goer? I could be. I mean, I'm getting pretty good, I must say. Always surprised, babe. Okay, Eddie, that, Eddie. Look what you did to her. Instantly, instantly, my head goes down, hands come up to the eyes. You're so mean to me. It's early in the money I just got here. Eddie, it took a while. I mean, it was like fighting Muhammad Ali, but he's finally broken through to Chantel. She was like a wild bronco, and he has broken her. Whatever. That was harsh. Back to my story. Went to a wedding, met some P1s. Team sass all the way. I'm not even joking. Not even joking. Was it dudes or women? They're a married couple. Both love us. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. You're the best married couple. You're telling me a guy liked Team Sass? Loves. Must be a marriage of convenience. Already allowing gay marriage. Loves. Seriously, Mike. So, here's what we do. You're so mean to me right now. Nah, it's cool. Nah. This is a deal. It's cool. Fist bump. Don't give him a fist bump. Why are you fist bumping? I mean, what's the fist bump? I know he really loves me deep down inside. I do. But. Here's how Battle of the Sexes works. We have the guys going up against the girls.
Guys are Team Awesome. Girls are Team Sass. Guys are Team Awesome are dominating. I mean, we're just pure dominating. Oh, stop it. Let's not go overboard here. You're kind of pushing it. One time they won was like that cheating thing. We don't see that. We went there anywhere. We were not cheating forever. I have a question. Should we start each game by a coin toss? Like, we'll see who starts. Guys or girls by a coin toss? I think that's kind of fair. Sure. We don't care. We don't care either. We don't care. We don't care either. We don't care. We don't care either. Get him. Did you hear that? All right, so here's what we're going to do. What we do is we are going to do this over a very long period of time. We're thinking maybe four or five years. Why wouldn't we? Really? Yes. No. Overall score, by the way, Team Awesome has won seven. Holy moly. Team Sass, the girls have won three. Oh, three. They've won three? Nice. We are rocking it. Zach keeps track. Zach is accurate. I feel like that's wrong. I feel like that's wrong. That's amazing. Recount. All right. Florida. What? All right. Team Awesome, call it in the air. Ed's. Ed's tails. It is heads. Yes. It is heads. We choose to go second. You choose to go second. Wow. So, wow. Look at that.
That means in the second quarter they get the ball. Just because your shirt is keeping it gangsta don't mean you are. Stop it. Stop it now. Stop it now. What? How about that? Yeah, what about now? Wait a minute. He's so thug. You're not allowed to say that ever again. So who do we start with? Do we start with Sky or should we rotate as we go? I think they should determine their order. Yeah, yeah. Why don't you guys decide? Who would you like to go first? Sky. Okay. Okay. There you go. She's the smartest. All right. Clearly. I wouldn't say that. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Skye's brains. Skye, your question is, what famous quarterback of the 1970s co-starred in the movie Cannonball Run? I do not believe there is one man that does not know the answer to this question. You say that every time you ask a question. I'm telling you, this is a guy question. Quarterback from the 70s. Yes. What famous quarterback of the 1970s co-starred in the movie Cannonball Run? Think it out, Sky. Think it out. I can't even think of a single quarterback from the 70s.
This guy is looking to the ceiling for inspiration. She's making a weird face. It's coming to her. She's thinking it through. She is now scratching her chin. That's not a good sign. She's thinking. Hands up to the face. Praying motions. That's the guy who has all the football video games. Oh, go that. She's thinking. I can't even think of his name right now. Trying to give an answer. Grand Theft Auto. Leave her alone. Tiger Woods. Doug Flutie, Mike. No, Sky. I don't even know who that is. He played for Charger. Yeah, I did. His name sounded football-ish. Sky, it was actually Terry Bradshaw was in the movie Cannonball Run, and he was real funny, and that scene where he crashes into the pool, and he comes out of the pool, and he's soaking wet. Okay, we know you know. Wasn't he also in Failure to Launch? Yes, he was. I have no idea. That would have been a better question. Oh, that's right. Didn't he play the dad? Yeah. Yeah, and the mom was Jane. Who was the mom? Kathy Bates. Kathy Bates. Oh, wow. All right, over to Team Awesome. We're going to lead off with our boy, Sean, today. Wow. I accept. All right. We can do it. All right, here is your question, Sean. All right. What is the process called during a facial when they remove the junk that is clogging your pores?
What is that called? Sean has a squinted look on his face where he's sort of clenching the teeth. Squinting. Again, Sean, what is the process called during a facial when they remove the junk that's clogging your pores? What's that called? They remove the junk. Oh, Sean just was blinking furiously. That's not a good sign when he blinks like that. So is Eddie, and he doesn't even have the question. What's going on over there? You sweating and things? It's tough. Sean has hands up to his face right now like Macaulay Culkin in the movie Home Alone. I mean, I have an idea. Oh, gosh. Here we go. Oh, is he doing this thing where he tortures the ladies? Probably. Sean is waving off the notion that that would be true.
No, no, no. Go ahead. But there is a process that I'm aware of, but I don't think it's specifically for, what did you say again? Okay. Removing. Sky is looking at the camera right now like you are a clown. You know the answer to this. Just say it. Stop it. Why can I not be serious? The question is, what is the process called during a facial when they remove the junk that is clogging your pores? Maybe he really doesn't know. Stop it. Honestly, I don't know the answer. Specifically. But I'm going to say. But I will take a guess. Okay, go ahead. Don't do that. This is absolutely a guess. Because I know what this process is. I know exactly what it is. Just say it already. And it's not what you described. Okay, the one is. But it's the only one I know. So I will say, is it exfoliating? That is incorrect. See, I told you. I didn't know that. That's incorrect. That process is called extraction. Extraction. That's where they take the stuff. It's a very disgusting process. They take the little white kernels of corn out of your face. You've answered that before. Well, when they're getting in there and they're taking the junk out of the clogs, that's called extraction. They use this disgusting little tool. Oh, wow.
Stop it. Come on. I think Sean is right. Stop it. So are you, Eddie? Stupid. Let's go to Team Sass. And up next is Chantel. Hi. Chantel, you always get the movie questions. Why is this? Why are you laughing right now? Chantel, your question is. She may know this, please. She didn't know this. She didn't care. Her answer is going to be, she don't care about this. Who cares? Whatever. I was too young. Chantel, what is the name of the elven kingdom in The Lord of the Rings? She instantly got her face like, who cares? What the heck? Backed away from the microphone. Who watches Lord of the Rings? Threw her head back. Why is this a question? I mean, you, but other than you, who really? She's like, you know, this is for those Star Trek people. Who cares? I've never seen Star Trek either. Okay, look at her. She is so irritated. This is ridiculous. Not happy.
This is ridiculous. Why are you going to hate on Legolas? That's right. Who cares? Might as well say it, Eddie. It don't matter. You know what I mean? I don't know any of this. Stop it. This is ridiculous. I'm sorry. Why are you wasting our time? Think Samwise. That doesn't mean a word. That doesn't mean anything to her. Doesn't mean anything to her. Nothing. The kingdom? Is that what you said? The what? Ask Gandalf. He'll maybe know. That's right. Ask Gandalf. What is Gandalf? This is not funny. The answer is in Mordor. I'm just telling you right now. The answer is in Mordor. Oh, wow. Repeat the question, please. What is the name? It's right next to Gandalf. That is correct, Eddie. What is the name of the elven kingdom in Lord of the Rings? The answer is Rivendell. You feel better now? No. She does not feel better, Eddie. I can tell by the look on her face. She is so sassy. Yeah, she's really. She's sassy. She's in the zone. Super sassy. I think it's the hoodie talking. Yeah. Up next. What? Up next is Eddie. Oh. Oh, yeah. Come on, dude. Wow. You got it, bro. Wow. Let's see. Let's see what happens. Eddie's question is a movie question. Oh, that's weird. Really? To which I would not know the answer. Of course you wouldn't.
I think that was every single movie ever made. That's all he does. Eddie? That's not all I do. Stop it right now. Eddie, what else do you do? Play video games. That's true. That's pretty much it. Eddie? Let's hear it. Eddie, what is the name of Molly Ringwald's character in Pretty in Pink? Oh, boy. Oh. Hold on. Brain sprain. Uh-oh. Hold up. Wait a minute. Eddie is thinking. Eddie has got his eyes to the ceiling. He's faking right now. We all know. This movie is way more popular with the ladies than it is the fellas. I've never seen it. That's true. Molly Ringwald's character. Eddie doesn't have it. Shut the front door. He's going to give it a shot. Oh, my gosh. Gangsta. He's thinking. Spit it out. He's thinking. It's a hard one. Take your time. Eddie's got his hands to his forehead. I think this is her character name in Sixteen Candles, but I don't know that either. I'm going to say Sam. That is incorrect, Eddie. It's okay. Good job, though. Her character in Pretty in Pink was Andy. Andy. Dang it. It was right there. Andy. It was a good name. Up next. Well done. Ashley. Come on, Ashley. Ashley.
You get a multiple choice question. No one's scored yet, huh? No one has scored. No, but you're about to. You could be the scorer. Come on. Are you ready, Ash? Mm-hmm. What was the name of the smallest player ever to win the NBA slam dunk contest? And it's a multiple. Multiple choice? Oh, my gosh. It's already too easy. Just listen. You can do it. You be quiet. You can do it. Don't you make a sound, Chantel. Not even a movement. And, Chantel, not a movement. You sit still. Sit still so they don't accuse us of cheating. I will accuse you of cheating. Please. I don't want to deal with it. Yeah. Are you ready, Ash? Yes. Was it A, Muggsy Bogues? What? Was it B, Wee Willie Walker? What? Or was it C, Spud Webb? Again, was it A, Muggsy Bogues? B, Wee Willie Walker? Or was it C, Spud Webb? Ashley is thinking. She's squinting. She curled up the nose. Chantel is trying to will it to her, but it's not going to happen. I will say... Can you say A one more time? A is Muggsy Bogues.
Muggsy Bogues or Spud Web. B is Wee Willie Walker. C is Spud Web. It's not Willy Wonka. I'm going to go with Chocolate. I'm going to go with C. You are correct. That's it with Spud Web. Love it. Yes. You're the smartest girl ever. The easiest question in the history of questions. That was amazing. I love him. That was a great job. You are the best. We're in the lead. We're winning. He was about a foot taller than Boston Rob. Don't insult my teammate. Boston Rob is up next. Come on, Riz. We need you. Whatever. We need you. That was great. Riz, come on. You can do it. Come on. So great. He's your afro. Rob. I'm sorry. Rob does have an afro. He does have an afro. It's getting a little long. I like it. Yes. Me too. That's right. Relaxer. Rob, what is the makeup called that women use as a base to make their skin tone consistent? You know it. Come on. Take your time. Take it easy. What is the makeup called that women use as a base to make their skin tone consistent? Oh, my fiance was talking makeup with me yesterday, but I was facing out. I love how they talk about everything. You can do it.
Makeup in the hills. All the time. I'm whipped and I love it. How do you feel about her? I am whipped and I love it. I'm almost 100% positive that it's foundation. That is correct. We did. First break. Yeah, first break. He's like, oh, I put on my foundation. I want to ask you guys a question. What? Do you believe that I... Yes. Now, do you believe that I read the questions before we begin? Oh, no. No, no. I believe it was a coincidence. I didn't even hear that. I was on the phone this morning. It was a coincidence. I actually... But it's still fake. So what? Oh, put your arms down. Take your arm, bro. Whatever. Take your seat. We have a hide game. Yes, yes, yes. Whatever. I was very nervous. It's such a huge investment. But your saleswoman calmed me down and found the perfect ring style Heather wanted. I whispered to the saleswoman my price range for the diamond and she showed us several. Heather picked one out and your saleswoman placed the diamond into the setting and Heather slipped it on. She was absolutely glowing. Seeing her joy, my eyes got misty and even your saleswoman became teary-eyed. It was a moment Heather and I will never forget. And your saleswoman is the sole reason I made the purchase at Shane Company that day. Sincerely, Steve Shantz. I'm Tom Shane, and thanks for writing, Steve. That's true. Welcome back to... Battle of the sexes, folks. Welcome back. That's right. Team Sass. Calm down with that. Well, you guys are tied. I mean, Team Sass and Team Awesome are tied here. We know. We know we're tied. We're just saying we're better, and that's just what we're saying. But you guys are tied.
We get it. Right now we're tied. Right, exactly. You just wait. It's all about the Riz. What up? Yeah. Whatever. Yeah, yeah. Stop it now. I believe we go to Team Sass. Yeah. Yeah, we do. And it will be Sky answering this question. No, not another football question. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Please, those are stupid. No. No movie questions. Sky. What? You are familiar with the team, the Dodgers. Yes. What city? Did the Dodgers move from in 1957? Eddie is giving Sky a look like, oh, wow. Oh, no. She knows this. I do know this. I don't want to mess up because I know the Dodgers and the Giants have had this long battle and it started in New York. And I believe the Dodgers were from Brooklyn. Thank you. Sass has just taken the lead. You haven't said a word over there. You could say how easy that question was. Oh, stop it. I've never heard of that in my life. Next up. Doesn't surprise me. Shawnee, oh boy. Shawnee, your question is, what was Meg Ryan's screen name in the movie You've Got Mail? I like this one. Hey, hey, hey.
Do you know the answers, Skye? Oh, of course I do. Nobody's seen that movie in 15 years. I even know what her and Tom Hanks' blog chatted about. Really? Yes, there was a conversation about The Godfather, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Wow, wow, wow. I've never seen The Godfather, but I know that from their IM patch. Just look at his face right now. Look at Eddie's face. Look at that. That's beautiful. Go to the mattresses, he says. Everybody, go to the mattresses. Shawnee, once again. You okay? What was Meg Ryan's screen name in the movie You've Got Mail? Such a good movie. Sorry, Sean. Uh, Mike. Never seen the movie. Oh, no. No way. It's okay. So, Shani, you want to take a guess? Yes, you can. Why does it matter if you haven't seen it? Because maybe he can think of something. All right. What was Meg Ryan's screen name in the movie You've Got Mail? That's the answer. Perfect. He is thinking. Or is he Googling? He is thinking. Which is it? He's Googling. Five seconds. He's watching the movie. I'm Googling. Shawnee, take a guess. I will say, Mike, Beatrice. That is incorrect, Shawnee. That's your answer for everything, Shawnee. That is incorrect. We always guess it's Beatrice, and that is incorrect. The actual answer is...
Shop Girl. Oh, that's clever. Shop Girl. That's her name? That's her screen name. That's right. Because that one would have been available. Yes. Would she sign up when the internet came out? First week it came out. First week it came out. Looks like Chantel is up. Stop it right now. Stupid. Chantel? No. Yes? Are you ready? Uh-huh. I'll say a movie question for you, Chantel. She's not happy. Chantel? You may get this. Oh, I hope so. Doubtful. Oh, my gosh. Chantel, what's Rambo's first name? Oh. I thought it was just Rambo. I didn't know he had a first name. Rambo? I don't know. I just thought it was Rambo. What the heck? Beatrice. That is correct. Beatrice Rambo. I really just thought it was Rambo.
Who knew he had a first name? Chantel, the guy's got to have a first name. You've got to take a stab at it. He's Rambo. I'll just take a guess. Okay. Just guess. I'm going to say Rambo. Let me ask you a question, Chantel. Yes? If I were to say to you, Chantel. What? What is the most common man's name? John? That would have been correct. Shut the fuck up. Unfortunately. Why did you say that before? I had a feeling. Stop. You said Chris, and his name was John Rambo. John Rambo. John Rambo. John Rambo. This is the second week in a row I've done that. I know it. I know it. You're the best. Truly the best. Eddie? Yo. Here we go. I'm not going to get over this one. Me neither. Lay it down for him, doctor. Okay. Eddie, who played JD in Thelma and Louise? Who played...
What does that mean? Who played JD in Thelma and Louise? Open your eyes. Okay, wait. I'm sending it to you. I got it. I got it. Yes. Sean is IMing it to him. Sean is text messaging. We already knew you knew it. Well, I immediately thought, I don't know which, but it was Thelma and Louise is their names. I thought it was either Sarandon or the other one. But JD, I believe, was Brad Pitt. That is correct, Eddie. It was Brad Pitt. If it's not something him and his girlfriend talked about, we are sailing through. Chantal and Eddie were right up in each other's face. We have a tied game. Way to go, Eddie. That was worth two points. No, it was not. Yeah, that was a jackpot question. Everyone knows Brad Pitt. I love it when this happens. I love it when this happens because regardless of what happens with this next question, we still have to go to the guys.
Guys can either get it or miss it, too. So, last question for the ladies goes to Ashley. You got it. Come on. Ashley. Oh, no. She's already giggling like I don't know. Mike, I don't know. She got the first one. She did. John Rambo. Yeah. Ashley. Every time I say her name, she squints. Painful. Ashley, what professional wrestler had the nickname The Hitman? Oh. She kind of giggled. As soon as I said it, she kind of giggled. Are you okay over there? She kind of giggled. She didn't die from laughter. Hitman Hayes? The answer is Channel 933's Hitman Hayes. What wrestler? What professional wrestler had the nickname The Hitman?
Okay, and the wrestler is different from the boxer. Mm-hmm. What? That is true. So would wrestlers be WWE? Sky is different than land. Air is different than water. Or is wrestling different from WWE? Because it's definitely not UFC. I love that. She's talking it out. She's talking it out, Eddie. Work it out. What professional wrestler had the nickname The Hitman? It's okay. Just think about it. John Michaels? That is incorrect. John Michaels. It was not John Michaels. It was not John Michaels. She tried. Shawn Michaels? But that's not right either. That's not right either. It's okay, Ash. It's still up in the air. What's the answer? The answer is Bret Hart. Bret the Hitman Hart. Never heard of him. Never heard of him. All right, if the guys get this one right... They're not going to. We're going to sudden death. If they get it wrong, sudden death. Come on, Riz. Riz, hey! Boston Rob, your question is... He's not going to get it. Why is he rubbing his facial hair? He is very nervous. Is that pretty good luck? That's where his strength was. What is that? That's where I get my powers from. Okay. It's funny, I do too. Rob, your question is...
What is the procedure that uses a solution to cause the skin of the face to blister and peel off, creating new, smoother skin? Rob is looking at me emotionless. That's not even a real thing. Are you telling me you and your fiancé didn't talk about this one? I think it's called the backdraft. Stop it. It's called the end of Indiana Jones. Oh, yeah. Oh, nice. Technically Raiders, but... So it's a procedure where you pour acid on your face and it burns... Wait, what... Rob has his hand to his forehead. Hold on, I'm so confused right now. He's trying to understand. What is the procedure that uses a solution to cause the skin of the face to blister and peel off? Creating new, smoother skin. I have no clue. But in four hours, I'll have a guess. Rob? This is nothing I can learn from the History Channel or anything. No. I'm going to call it a third degree sunburn. Well done. Sorry, Rob. Incorrect. Good try, though. Ladies, would you like to tell them what that is?
A chemical peel. That is a chemical peel. That is a chemical peel. Face peel. A face peel, a chemical peel. Same difference. I don't know. It's an orange peel. We now go to sudden death. Oh, we've never... Has this happened before? Oh, what? We now go. Remember Ashley? Oh, yeah, I ruined it. Only if you know what... We yell out our name. You yell out your name. Your own name or who you want to answer it? No. Last time you yelled out my name, I didn't appreciate that. Hang on. Now, I'm going to state the rules before we begin. Okay. You are allowed to interrupt me. However, if you interrupt me and you get it wrong, the point goes to the other team. Okay. Gotcha. Does that make sense? Yes. Yes, it does. Say your name if you know the answer. Okay. Here we go. Okay. Stop it. Sorry. Here we go. Stop it. Sorry. He's doing the flinch thing. Stop it. Here we go. Here's the question, guys. Okay. Sleepy, happy, sneezy, grumpy, dopey. Chantel? I don't know.
Can you finish the question or not? No. You interrupted. Chantal, what is your answer? Are they the seven dwarfs? That is incorrect. I was going to finish the list and then ask who was missing. The answer would have been bashful. It's bad on my part. Team Awesome gets the win. All we got to do is just kick back. Join the P1 Text Army. Text Mikey to 35253. Standard rate supply. Coming up in just a little bit, we're going to be playing the audio that will once and for all bring an end to the question, did Tim Russert fart on television?
It's a clip from MSNBC. Now, Chantel told us that after a while in a relationship, she's okay with that. It happens. She says, you know, it's a deal. It'll happen. Everyone does it. Everyone does it, but not in relationships in front of their spouses necessarily. Really? After you've been with someone years and years and years, what the heck is wrong with you people out there? What about in your sleep? In your sleep happens. In fact, it happened to Ashley. Why? She moved the wind beneath her sheets. Get out of here. Or so he says. He could have made that up. That's what your boyfriend said. He could have. It happened one time and it was like three and a half months ago. He's speaking to my boyfriend. Mark, if you're out there and you're listening. Ask me, I'll say yes. Ask me, I'll say yes. Ask me what? Stop the question. Stop it. Hey, Mike. She's in love. If you ever thought of asking me a man. I know we had a pregnancy. I know we almost stopped marketing. Oh, my God. Stop it now. Make a respectable woman out of me. Okay. I want to see it.
Let's marry me, please, Mark. Poor Mark. The weather is not looking so good outside. No. It makes me tired and sleepy and want to stay in bed. You should go back to bed. I just sent out a cancellation to a barbecue I was having tomorrow. I had to say thunderstorms tomorrow. Thunderstorms tomorrow. That's best if you cancel. Bad weather. I have been, when the warm weather was out, I have been falling asleep out in the sun. Doesn't it feel great? Oh, it's so great. And I had to train myself because I, you know, I'm constantly thinking, you know, and I'm really trying to get myself into just be calm and peaceful and sleep. Just do it. I love it. Yeah.
I did a little laying out myself this past weekend because it was 100 degrees out. You went out in that stuff? Yeah. Holy cow. Did you put sunscreen on? Skye? She did. Yes, I did, but obviously not enough for the boo's liking. What does that mean? Well... What does that mean? Okay, let's preface this by saying... Chantel, do you know who the boo is? Her husband. Yes. She just looked at you like, how dare you? Well, she's like, I'm a P1. What's your problem? So I love the Buddha to death. He's the best husband ever. But I've come to the realization that sometimes men communicate a little different than women. Oh, yes. I wish that I could pause the Radio TiVo right now and let everybody in the audience know, ladies and gentlemen, Skye is about to communicate with her husband through the radio. Do you need a siren? Yes. Passive aggressive alert? Passive aggressive alert. Passive aggression stations. Please move to your passive aggression stations. This is not a test. This is a real alert. Move to your passive aggressive stations. Please. So, when I lay out, I put 30 on my face, SPF 30 on my face, and 15 on my body.
Okay. 30-15 is what she calls it. Yes. And my husband, so we went swimming. What? That's just stupid. What did he say? Talk about the 15. Well, I'm about to, Sean, okay? So strap yourself in. Just wait for it. Continue, please. All right. So went swimming, laid out, and then went home, showered up. Put on a tank top and some capri pants. Yeah, you did. Went out to dinner with the boo. Went out to dinner with the boo. And we were sitting across from each other at a booth. And he decided that he would let me know that he thinks my chest is getting a little bit too much sun by telling me, yeah, you may want to start putting 30 on your chest because it's starting to look like Donna Frye. Yeah. And he says it. He doesn't, like, blank face. Like, he's not saying anything mean. He's, like, he's, like, trying to help me. Well, did he mean it because Donna Fry is sun-kissed? Did he mean it in, like, a sun-kissed way? I think he believes she looks kind of like a raisin. And that my chest area is starting to look like a raisin. Chantal just got a look on her face.
I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, I was. What did you do? What did you do? I like stared at him with like my mouth open. Did you say that? Yeah, you did not just say that right now. And he's looking at me eating his food. Maybe he said it in a good way. Yeah, the grass is green. He said it in a loving way. No such thing. That was loving. So now I'm all self-conscious about it. But I mean. What would you say, Chantel, if your fella said that? What would you say back? Would you be quiet and just, like, is that your personality to, like, go into a shell or to say something? Me? A shell. I know. I was just taking a shot. I don't know. I might have sat there for a minute, though, and thought to myself, really right now? Right? Right? Really. Passes, and I'm thinking, really right now? I would have had to come back with something. You would have had to say, hold up, wait a minute. Oh, snap. Oh, snap. Hold up, wait a minute. Hold up, wait a minute. That's what you would say. No, that's not. This is hold up, wait a minute music. There it is. Hold up, wait a minute. Damn. No, you didn't. Hold up, wait a minute. Will you stop it? It'll make you more gangster. I'm trying to think about it. This is what you would have done. No. What? Drew. That's the chocolate I'm talking about. This looks like the old lady from There's Something About Mary. Oh, dude.
Please. So I sat there. Sky is not an outward aggression person. No. She doesn't usually, she didn't like to fight. No. And definitely not with the boo because I know. She'll ruin you emotionally. Oh, no. I know he didn't mean anything bad by it. Like he's trying to like. He may have. No. Like he would never mean to like insult me. But I find that sometimes men like. Have no filter. You just don't think about it before you say it. Eddie is a perfect example. He does that often. I think about it, though. No, you don't. You just say stuff. So I had the shock look. I sat there and said, oh, no, you didn't. Hold up. Wait a minute. I love it. I love it. And then I looked at him and said, you didn't think there was a nicer way you could have said that? What did he say? And he goes, well, no. And that's when the backpedal, the backpedal. No, I'm just saying, you know. It looks like the Mojave Tesser. Did you really think about that? Did you think about that? For a second.
You did not think about that. Hold up, wait a minute. I know I'm not the only wife or girlfriend out there who's a victim of this. Like Ashley with Mark when he's like talking about her seashells in the condo, you know? He doesn't like the aquatic thing. He loves her feet. No, he'll do that with me all the time. And they don't think they're being hurtful. It's a prominent bone, alright? Ask me an example. What has your fella said that just he didn't really think it through? Well, that's a perfect example. When he was looking at my feet and he was like massaging them and it was really sweet. It was really like, you know, kind of a sensual moment. And then he takes that opportunity to go, so I never realized before you have a very prominent bone. This broom right here is very prominent. And that bothered you? It was like that you perceived? Because I don't think men necessarily hear that and go, wow, that's so messed up. But women instantly are like, he said that? Well, you can understand. I've heard him make fun of...
people that I know's feet before and call them really messed up names. But does he say prominent? No, he'll say Bigfoot and stuff, and then he'll come to me and say prominent bone, and I translate that into Bigfoot. Like, I'm not an idiot. Right, we get it. You guys are so sensitive. It's like, just because I'm your girlfriend, you know, you love it, but if I wasn't, you'd call it Bigfoot. I know what's up. 570-1053. Here's what I want to know. Chantel's had it. Chantel's had it. No, seriously, we're getting by it. Hold up. Wait a minute. A couple seconds away. 570-1053. And this is what I want to hear. I want to know if guys have done this, and if so, what did you say that upset your lady? And I'm not looking for, I don't want guys to start calling going, oh, yeah, I told my wife, man, you got a big nose. That's just blatant. Yeah, that's mean. Don't do it. What I want to know is something that you said that you thought was normal.
And it hurt her feelings. And it hurt her feelings. You thought it was normal, but it hurt her feelings. Like never a bride, always a bridesmaid? Oh, hold up, wait a minute. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. And I want to hear from you. Text us, call us, I want to hear from you. Mikey? Hello? Never called in before, but I love your show and you guys rock. How would you implement it? Wait, wait, wait. Before that, my question to you is what did he want? Like, what was his point? What did he want you to do? Because I put 15 on my body and 30 on my face. Right. So he wants me to start putting 30 on my chest so my skin there, because it gets exposed to the sun all the time, doesn't age prematurely. I see. And then I look like Donna Frye. Got it. Got it. Got it. And then what were you asking, Eddie? I want to know how would you have put it? How would you have liked it put? Babe, it looks like you're getting a lot of sun on your chest. Have you ever thought about maybe starting to put 30 there, too? What's the difference? Oh, my God. See, men are so stupid. Here's my question. They are so dumb. They are so dumb. Eddie, Eddie. Yeah. I have a thought on this, though. I seem to think that the ladies would take that comment and go, so what are you trying to say? Yeah. Even though it was put nicely. So maybe the point is that the ladies will be making is maybe you don't need to say anything at all. No, I wouldn't because he's right. Because I do get a lot more sun on my chest because, you know, I'm always wearing... Well, it's giant, yeah. I mean, I have such an enormous chest. She does have... All natural, by the way. All natural. I have to have Mickey Mouse hands to get all the sunblock on my chest. Yes, I actually use a catcher's mitt to apply...
To apply the sunblock because... That's not what I'm saying. To get it all out. Yes, and even then... I'm not even talking about my breasts. I'm talking about my chest. What I've decided to do is just go to the car wash and walk through it. That is terrible. And ask them to put SPF 30 on the long strands that come down. And then just walk through it. And even then... How does Dolly Parton do it? Enough. Guys, how am I supposed to cover these? Yes. Hilarious. Let's take some calls. That's because you have big jugs. Christina, are you there? Christina, what does your husband say? My husband, last time I went through the drive-thru at McDonald's, I told him, I said, babe, I got my drink wrong. See, that's happened to me before, too. That is awful. That will jack you up in the head. Well, three weeks after I had a baby, he said, a couple more sit-ups, baby, you'll be fine. No! Oh, my God! I don't get it. I don't get it. What did he say? Shut up, baby. He likes his wife like he likes his wife. Shut up, baby. No! Thank you, Christina. Ouch. I'm waiting for the bad part. P1 B-Rod.
Hey, what's going on, Mikey? What's going on, dude? So this is me really messing up. So I'm getting married and my fiance is all excited. She's like, hey, we're Saturday, me and my mom and everyone were going to try on my wedding dress. And I said... This is already bad. I don't like it. I said, thinking it was okay, I said, well, why would you try it on now? Is she going to get skinnier? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Aren't you going to get skinnier before the wedding? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Yeah, that one doesn't work. I didn't go over too well. No. Oh, my gosh. We're still getting married, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank goodness. Well, congratulations. Is she getting skinnier? Oh. I'm just asking. Hey. Be cool.

Let's read some of the text messages we're getting. Mikey, my girlfriend said one time, oh, I'm getting so fat, I look like a cow. To which I replied, no, babe, you're like a calf. Now, see, in his mind. Like, that's a compliment. Yeah, because a calf is a baby and it's little, you know. Smarter than a cow. Yeah. Oh, man. Let's see. Mikey, how about this one? My ex said something about my beautiful blue eyes one time when we were at a party. Except I have green eyes. That's great. That is hysterical.
Mikey, I was out to, I am cold reading these, which means I don't know what, I'm being honest. So I just, if I come across them, I just don't know what these are. Mikey, I was out to dinner with my wife and earlier in the conversation, we were talking about how she was losing weight and she said she was happy. She wasn't fat anymore. So later we were talking about her getting pregnant and I said, well, you will be mad when you get pregnant because you will be fat again. No. Oh my God. Oh my God. So dumb, you guys. No. Not good. Yeah, just leave that F-A-T out of it. Don't ever say that word. Never. Ever. No. Let's see. P1 Sunshine. Are you there? Yes, I am here. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. Was it your husband, your boyfriend, or what? The timing was my boyfriend, but we were sitting outside on our balcony, and it was a really sunny day, and I was looking off to the ocean, admiring the view, and he said to me, you know. Sonny, when you turn to the side, you know, I can really see, I can really see the blonde in your mustache. I can really see the blonde in your mustache. Like, I can really see, like, your, you know, the hair, like, in your mustache. Like, I guess you didn't know what else to say. That is awkward and inappropriate. I just kind of looked at him and I'm like, okay.
And it went on, and I had to wax off. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would think so, yeah. I would think that that's a direct call. That's probably a good idea, Tom Selleck. Okay, Eddie. That's not going to help. I were just baby fine hairs, but when the light shined in a certain way. Just right. You know, Tom Selleck. Yeah. Magnum shows up. Yes. That is so mean. So she jumped in her Ferrari, and she went right to the mustache. What was really bad was that after I waxed it, I had an allergic reaction to it. And he felt really bad. He should feel bad. Jerk. You're married now, though. But you guys got married, right?
No, we're engaged. We get married next year. So you won't even care. You'll put them in a handlebar, you know. You won't even care by the time you guys get married. Was that insensitive? All right, thank you very much, Sunshine. Thank you. Have a good day. Thank you. You too. It's P1 Sunshine Stash. Mikey, I had two zits on my cheek that I was trying to hide. It's impossible because they were huge. When I saw my buff, eh, that afternoon. The first thing he says to me is, what's wrong with your face? He's concerned. Uh-oh, something's wrong. What's wrong with you? Maybe it was a flesh-eating bacteria that he didn't know. He's like, oh, did some terrorists fly a couple of airplanes into your face? Oh, my God. Babe, you've been bitten in the face by a puff after. I'm no woman expert, but I'm just going to tell you, I don't think that women take kindly to what's wrong with your face. I don't think they like that. No, they do not, Mike. Mikey, I made a mistake one time calling a girl a psycho. That is a no-no.
I called my lady a cute piglet one time while she was inhaling Arby's down. Are you crazy? She's eating Arby's and he calls her a piglet. Just because you put the word cute before it does not make it cool. A cute little, yes. A cute piglet does not make it okay. Cute little razorback? Yeah, it's like you look such a cute hippo right now. You are such a cute little fat pig. You're such a cute rhinoceros right now. You're such a cute, you're in a cute little house, aren't you? Mikey, my husband and I have a couples book. And when I was reading his answers, I found out that he thought my thighs were unattractive. It was probably a loaded question. You know, they probably ask in those books, like, you know, what's the one thing about your partner physically? So he put big thighs. He should put nothing. It's a trick question. What are you supposed to say? No, it is not. What do you say there, you know? That's garbage. And then, of course, the why. Oh, I'm so hurt.
Well, yes. P1 Drew. Mike. What's going on? So I got my friend's wife upset one time. I hadn't seen her in about three months when she was pregnant. So the next time I saw her, I asked her, I said, hey, how much longer until you're having a baby? And she said, I had it two months ago. Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. I had no idea what to say. See, that was unintentional. That sucks. A chick said that to my wife two, like it was exactly nine days after Jake was born. It was nine days after Jake was born, and we're standing in the doctor place, and a woman says to her in line as we're, you know, paying, the woman goes, you got another one in there? Ew. No, she didn't. Oh, dude, it was so gnarly. That's sick. Yeah, we looked at her like, are you kidding me? Right. Oh, it was so gnarly. Yuck. Thanks for the call, Drew. Let's see, P1 Spitfire.
Hi, the other day, my boyfriend and I, we were sitting on the couch watching TV, and an infomercial for the Bender Ball came on. And he's all, look, honey, it's only $9.99 or $19.99. He's all, you should get that. Ah, subtle. And then a little while later, another commercial comes on, and he's all, it was for hair dye, because I just turned 30, and, like, I've been feeling a little bit old. And he's all, you should get a box of that, too. Oh, are you telling me I'm not hot anymore? He's all, I love you no matter how you are. That is a terrible answer. Horrible answer. He's a good guy. That is the worst answer ever. He just said, I would love you no matter what. Which implies, yes, you're getting old. Yeah, and you're not attractive. What do you guys think of this one? How? Mikey, not really sure why this was a problem, but... Oh, here we go. One time, I called my Filipino wife my, quote, Far East souvenir. I did not. You're stupid. This happened at a party, and she flipped out. Oh, what a shock. So sensitive. He's so sensitive. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. So he's like, so you're not my Far East souvenir? I mean, just so we're on the same page here. Oh, my. You're not my Far East souvenir? That is great. He's like, no, I'm not your Far East souvenir. No, I am not. No, I'm not. The text number is 35253. These are great.

I love them. I love them so much. And you're probably going to be grilling this weekend. It doesn't matter. I don't know that it's going to rain a lot, but it's kind of cloudy. It's not the greatest Memorial Day this time around, but who cares? Who cares? is what I say. And I'm still going to be grilling up the delicious Johnsonville brats. I get so many emails from people that have tried it for the first time. They took my advice. They went to their local grocery store, went back to that fresh meat section, picked up a package of the Johnsonville brats, and then freaked out because they're like, holy cow, I've been missing out on this all my life. I'm an idiot. And I write back, you're correct. But they appreciate that. You know, it's a little tough one for them. So, yeah, this is what you need to do. Go to your grocery store. Get some Johnsonville brats for this weekend. And go today because they're going to sell out. A couple weekends ago I went and I tried to get some and they were gone. Johnsonville brats were gone. I've never heard of that even happening. But it's possible. So make sure you get your Johnsonville brats that grill up this weekend. Bud Light presents Real Men of Genius.

However, right now, the weather's more of a concern. We've got some heavier stuff, some light rain coming down in parts of the North County, South Bay, East County, way out east through Alpine, fog and some stuff out there to deal with as well. So be careful. But right now we're pretty much looking good. We had an earlier accident at West 78 past College Boulevard. That car went off the embankment. Watch for a bit of a showdown there. Hey, is this Todd? Yes. Todd wrote me an email. Tell everybody what you wrote me in the email. Mikey, I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Cunningham pillow top over at Sleep Train two weeks ago, and it was just an amazing experience. The salesperson gave me 10% off before he even knew I was in there for the Mikey show. And then I used the Ace card and said, oh, Mikey told me to come in, and I got an additional 10. So all in all, I saved 20% on the mattress. And I bought it at Mission Valley at 11 o'clock. They had it delivered and installed in Chula Vista by 2.30 on the same day. That's rad. And what's even more amazing, since it was a Cunningham pillow top, it was personally delivered by Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber. It was just an amazing experience. That's awesome. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train to all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Potsy Weber delivered it. Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you.
Now, here's something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. Mikey Show, battle of the sexes. Girls. I want to see who's smarter. Finally. Why don't you guys decide? Who would you like to go first? Okay. Okay. There you go. She's the smartest. All right. Clearly. I wouldn't say that. We all have our strengths. We do. Skye's his brains. Skye, your question is. Yes. What famous quarterback of the 1970s co-starred in the movie, Cannonball Run? Single quarterback. She's thinking. Hands up to the face. Praying motions. That's the guy who has all the football videos. Oh, no. Grand Theft Auto. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. What is this, Rob? Bone Thugs. The band Bone Thugs. Bone Thugs. Bone Thugs. Bone thugs, harmony. No, bone thugs and harmony. Bone thugs and harmony. Bone thugs and harmony. You don't like the stuff they make menudo out of. You want your menudo with harmony or not? That's right. Say it. Harmony. Harmony. Harmony. You know who had good harmony?
Fleetwood Mac. They were great when the two of them would sing together. Oh, they were good harmonies. Beautiful harmonies. Welcome back. The time is 8.39. Just three days after a record-breaking heat wave, we got a storm yesterday that brought rain, hail, and lightning to the county. Padres made a bunch of roster moves yesterday that had placed Chris Young and Josh Bart on the DL. They designated Justin Germano for assignment and sent Joe Thatcher to the minors. All right. So, yeah, we are getting a... Getting a lot of text messages on the subject. 35253 is the text number. And our phone number is 5701053. People are calling to let us know what it is that their spouse said to them that was just a little insensitive. Or what they said to their spouse that was a little insensitive. Once my fiance told me that it was that time of the month, again, as a heads up. And I told her to...
Okay, so this is a guy that wrote this. Yes. And he's saying that his girlfriend, his fiancee, told him that it was that time of the month again, so heads up. And he said to her, fight it. That's good advice. Really? That's actually really good advice. Fight it! Exclamation point, by the way. Really? I like it. Fight it, yeah, because that's possible. Yeah, just fight it. You can't? Go get the Bible and start reading from Romans. There you go. There you go. That'll work every time. It'll go right away. My dad told my mom, large women don't look good with short hair. Dude. So now she doesn't cut her hair? Oh, wow. Nice. Oh, my gosh. I'm killing Crystal Gale. A friend once told me that I eat like a bird, to which my boyfriend turned to me and said, yeah, a pterodactyl. Oh, my God. Hey, Mikey, my wife and I, We're out at the movie, Maria Full of Grace, where the young girl in the movie ingests drugs and brings them in from Columbia. Well, my wife's a little on the heavy side. And without thinking and trying to be funny, I said, I bet we could make a lot of money with all the drugs you could bring in your belly, babe. No, these are getting made up. Come on. She started crying right then and there.
P1 foot in the mouth. Yeah, that'll do it. And that's like the whole thing. I think guys think they're being funny and it's just not. It's just not. P1 Dank, you there? Yeah. What's up? Not much. I just had a little story. We were watching a movie and Victoria's Secret commercial came on and my girl looked at me and said, wow, I wish I looked like that. That's when I said, yeah, so do I. I know that she threw it at you, but did you have to hit her? No, you know what he should have said?
You do, babe. What do you mean he should have said? You look more beautiful than that. You don't say that to me, and then I won't say anything at all. Maybe he could look it off. He's ready to bat. He looks it off. They do this, Mike. They do this. They throw stuff at us, and they expect us to know exactly what to say. And then when we screw it up, we're the jerks. How about you women have some self-confidence and not say things like that? Hey, it's common sense. Thank you. It's common sense. Say nice things to us. Amen, brothers. Nice things to the person you love. I agree with Eddie. Ew. Wow. I'm sure you do. But it's like you could avoid the entire cyclone. All you have to say is, you know what, babe? You're more beautiful than the Victoria. Perfect. More beautiful. Cyclone. Avoid the cyclone. P1, Megan? Yeah. My husband, I'm pregnant and I'm due in November. And we were talking about having a Halloween party. She sounds pissed. Yeah, she sounds angry. Already, Megan, you sound angry. I love her. He told me that I should come as Pluto because I'll qualify as a dwarf planet. Uh-uh. Uh-uh. No, he. I mean, you're carrying his child. He didn't. I qualify as a dwarf planet. Well, at least pregnant women aren't hormonal or anything. I'm sorry, but he gets style points for that one. I mean, that was flair. That was flair. Wow. Thank you, Megan. Yeah. It's like you worked at Tchotchkes. That's right. Anyone? That's right.
Not bad. It's good. Really? I throw out chotchkes and I get nothing? What do you want? I gave you a... That's right. And Sean gave you a... Whatever Sean gave you. My mic's off. Sorry. Mikey Show. Yes, go ahead. You're on the air. What did you do? Hey, one time I was in the store with my wife. And she goes, hey, do you think that I should get that dress? It's nice. And I go, well, it looks good on her. Do you think I should get that what? Dress. Oh, and he said that looks good on her. Oh, yeah. The ladies don't like that one. They don't like that one. That one usually leaves a mark. That's all sorry because Skye said that she was having dinner with her hub. And her hubby said, hey, babe, you might want to use some more SPF there on the chest, starting to look a little Donna Fry-ish. Yep, he did, Mike. I got to say that there's a difference between that and the question-answer situation. Because when the girl asks the question, she's almost kind of pushing. Like, she knows that the guy is stupid, and he's probably going to just answer, like, quickly and probably say something that isn't the right answer that she wants to hear. So that's kind of her putting it out there. But Mr. Sky just flat out.
at like saying that and thinking that there's nothing wrong with it. Which is weird because when we do like the question answer, he always has the right answer. Like, oh no, you're more beautiful than that. And you know, when he's lately lying, but I appreciate it. That's different. Because it's like he genuinely didn't think that the Donna Fry comment was rude. No, he didn't think for a second. P1 Moe. Yes. Go ahead, you're on the air. Yeah, I heard my daughter tell, or my son tell my daughter a couple weeks ago, if you were hauling out. You'd have to make two trips. Oh, wow. And you see he laughs. Wow. He laughs. Uh-oh. And what did your daughter say? It got kind of ugly. Yeah, I bet it got a little bit ugly there. Why? I bet it got a little bit ugly there. I could see how it would. A little. I once told my wife. Uh-oh. Well, I can't. It doesn't make sense the way it's written. I once told my wife was a good thick. I like my women thick. She blew up on me. She's a good thing. Well said. Oh, she's a good. I once told my wife she was a good thick. Yeah. Got it. Got it, girl. There's nothing wrong. Let's see. This is funny. This is apparently a misunderstanding of like a figure of speech. Mikey, my girlfriend, once asked me if I thought that she had a big head. And I responded, no, babe. You just have a big head.
You get it? She was like, do you think I'm full of myself? Do I have a big head? No, you just have a big head. Yeah, that's probably not what I said. My fiance said once that I'm the only woman that he's ever been with that has small breasts. You know, you're the first blonde I've ever dated, you know? You know, baby, you're the first lady I've ever dated with really small ones. Anyway, my friend and his girlfriend were fighting one time. And she was crying, so he told her she should stop because her face looks gross when she dies. Because her face looks gross. Blake. He's probably right. It's not veiled. It's not veiled. You know he's right. Oh, wow. P1Jables? Yeah. Hey, Mikey. What's up? I got a great story. Me and my buddy and a few of our friends are sitting on the couch watching TV, and his fiance looks over at him when...
natural male enhancement commercial comes on and it's all like, AB, we should get that. Yeah, that's a girl telling a guy something? Yep. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's right in front of all his buddies. It was just, it was terrible. That's awesome. It happened like five years ago and we still rip on him. That's really a terrible thing. That's not even funny. Oh, it's funny. You guys have been laughing for the last half hour. How is that even funny? And now the tables have turned. It's inhumane. Yeah. That really must have hurt him. P1 Ryan. Yeah. Go ahead. Hey, my wife is four months pregnant, and she asked me the other day when she tried on some new clothes if she looked fat or pregnant, and I asked her what's the difference. Oh, gosh. Men are dumb. They're so dumb. That's such a trick question, though. But it didn't even for a second dawn on you like there's only one right answer here, regardless of what you think. Why do you need to ask me that, then? Don't ask. But there's only one right answer.
Please, just give us the right answer. Clearly there isn't. Yes, there is. There's only one right answer. Come on. Figure it out, guys. P1 Civic. Hey, my dad works at Home Depot, and my mom's kind of a back-sided girl, and he stole one of those wide load stickers and taped it to the back of her van. She showed up at work, and she didn't even know, and she got out. And she was at a high school. Oh, my gosh. All the kids were laughing at her, and she didn't know why. Oh, well, hey. He was just having a little fun, right? Yeah. He was just having a little fun. That was so cool. I bet that would do it. All right, text number 35253. And when we come back, I promise we'll play it. Did Tim Russert fart on television? Did he? We have the audio. We'll find out for ourselves. You decide next. Mikey. Great show, everybody. Great show. So, to the gentleman in the pork pie hat. Now, ladies and gentlemen, up for a bit is a ladies' weekend at a Santa Fe health spa. Who'll start the beta 500? Give me $500. Thank you, lady, with a fabulous haircut. Now, 6600. Say, lady, where'd you get a fine haircut like that? Um, supercuts.
Supercuts, that's a smart move. Now, who give me $600, $600, supercuts, you say? How long did it take? I say, how long did it take to get cut? Under 30 minutes. Less than 30, less than 30 minutes. That's a heck of a deal. Now, the spa weekend, looking for $600. And one more time, ma'am, you say you got that look at your neighborhood supercuts, looking hot, looking sexy. But I got one more question for you, sexy lady. Could they do as good a job on a fella as they did for you, lady, with a fine, fine haircut? They do lots of men's haircuts, yes. Tons of men, but they take the time to make a lady like my lady in the front row look as fine as a Greek statue from the Hellenistic period. That's good to hear. Now, who give me $600 for a spa weekend? Even throw in a visit to supercuts, I will. Let me see those hats. For haircut you just can't shut up about? Supercuts, every time. Philly versus Atlanta. Preseason for two teams that wouldn't see the postseason. But Philly guard Stanley Steely made it a day hard to forget. For he came up with a play that defied logic and maybe common sense. 18 seconds left. Philly up by five. Stanley calls timeout. Did he want a new play? No, he just wasn't in the mood. A genius play. Except that Philly had no timeouts, earning them a technical foul.
And then he called another, and another, and then another. Six technical foul shots later, Philly lost by one. But to us at Corona, he's the game's MVP, for he reminds us that not even victory can beat ice-cold Corona. So remember, there is no I in team, but there is in line. Hey, Mikey, this is Tom. What's up, Tom? Hey, I want to let you know I just bought a new truck through a local dealership, and I had never had insurance before. And if I would have went with the insurance that they offered, I would have been paying $1,500 a year, so I figured I'd check out AIS. I got the same coverage through AIS for like $400 and change. Detroit ended Boston's 15-game win streak at home, winning game two. Paul Pierce says Detroit did a good job at finding their weakness. They did a great job at getting the ball from strong side to weak side because we're strong. Strong side defense, so it was tough once they reversed the ball and made us rotate. Those guys, we were still letting those guys knock down shots. And I deal with the pose of Maybelline. One time you had it all. I ain't mad at your neck. Oh, yeah. That's right. But do it sound so crazy? With me personally, it's nothing personal. I do a work for me, you do a work for you. Welcome back to the show. So you guys finally want to do this Tim Russert fart stuff? Please. Do you think those words have ever been put together on the radio before? A couple times. Do you guys finally want to do this Tim Russert fart stuff? Can you get that on a t-shirt? Yes. That would be great. Well, the deal is that Tim Russert from MSNBC, he was on the show, and here's what the description says. It says, this clip of Tim Russert. has created a debate on the internet. Most people think that the noise eight seconds into this clip is one of the panel members grunting or saying, mm-hmm. A few people think that he let one rip. You decide. But, you know, I'm reading that. I'm like, one of the panel members grunting or saying, mm-hmm. Maybe someone stepped on a frog. Yes. A blah loop.
Blah, blah, bloop. Flee, fly, flee, fly. Malaboop. Kerplunk. Badap. Splish, splash. Sea dune. Gulp. Glurp. Okay, cut. Cut cheese. No, I mean, cut two. It's extraordinary. It's the longest span. For example, my program with Meet the Press, no one has appeared on that program from 1967 to 1948. It's the longest span. Give me a break. What do you think it is? What do you think that is? I want to hear it again. Here's my throw. Wait a minute. Excuse me. I have a question. Why did they assume it was Tim Russert? It's a panel. Yeah, dude. It could have been any one of those ladies. Someone else had beef and cheese. Tim Russert's the only one that mics his pants. Let's hear it again, Sean. Cut to. It's extraordinary. It's the longest span. For example, my program with Meet the Press, no one has appeared on that program from 1962 to 1948. It's the longest span. Give me a break. That is not hard. That is not hard.
Yes, it is. That is definitely not a fart. Are you crazy? That's a fart. Sky, that's not a person going, uh-huh. You're talking to experts here. You're in the presence of fart expertise. Because I, how loud it is. That's not what mine sound like. Mine are more like this. I'm saying. Excuse me. I know what a fart sounds like. I leave the door open. Hello. Hello. Half of Escondido knows. Shut up. If the mic is up to your mouth, it's not going to pick up that sound that loud. It had to be a sound coming from someone's mouth. What are you, a fart engineer over there? Yes, I hear farts all the time. Please. Let's hear it again. On that program from 1960. It's extraordinary. It's the longest span. For example, my program with Meet the Press, no one has appeared on that program from 1960 to 1948. Sky, if that's not a fart, Sky, then if that's not a fart, then you make the noise as a human person with your mouth. That is not what we just heard. That's not what we heard. Sean, can you isolate it? Yeah, isolate it. Play it backwards.
It's extraordinary. We heard a tuba. Yeah. All right. This is pretty close. On that program... See? You think somebody, like, just was listening and went... Or do you think it's a mic bump? Yeah, with their mouth. Because if it was a mic bump, I'd buy that. Like a mic... The mic bumping something? Bumped. No. That's not a mic bump. That's not close. No. I think it's somebody kind of going... Let's hear it again. Let's hear it again. Not a voice. On that program... It's definitely not a voice. It's definitely not from the talking. Can you isolate a little bit of dead space and the noise so that's all we have is just the noise? Give me a second. One of the handsome kids saying, mm-bop. Agree to disagree. This guy, come on. That can't be a person. Come over to the duck side. No. Can't be their mouth. It is. The brown side. It's extraordinary. All right, let me see. It's extraordinary. On that program. Yeah, I was like, right after he says program, I want dead space and then I want noise. Why would somebody say purr? That's not what they're saying. What are they saying? What are they saying? That's a fart. That is not. That is not. It's like somebody agreed with that. What is this, a parade?
No, that is not a fart. It's 100%. You guys just want it to be a fart so bad. Yeah, I mean, what kind of a thing is that to say to somebody during their comments? Uh, furf. Excuse me, I had to honk. Excuse my honking here about furf. Excuse my mouth fart. Oh, come on. 5701053, what do you think of the controversy? Reaction. Let's go to the Poway line. Poway, what do you think of the following sound? Let's go to the fart line. Chula Vista reaction. All right. Yeah, I think that's pretty clear what that was. That's a bad one. I want to talk to people that went to that, see that Indiana Jones movie because it opened yesterday. Yeah, we saw it, Mike. Don't give anything away, people. Yeah, give away the big secret. Well, now I know there's a big secret. Wow. You know what was on TV last night? They brought back Last Comic Standing. Oh.
Yeah, I T-voted. It didn't start. It went from like 9.30 to 11. Oh. Yeah, late. These are... It was pretty good. I watched half of it. You did? Yeah. What did you think of the twins, Stone and Stone? Oh, was that the guys that sings? I don't remember the name. Let's listen. Cut 48. Thank you. This is so exciting, and we're having two mics and everything. It's terrific. I'm sorry I put that over there. Come over here. I'm sorry. Yeah. Hi, guys. Hi, guys. Hi, yes. I'm Todd, and this is Adam. And I'm Adam. And we're the Stones. Yes, exactly. And we're twins. And now we spend virtually all of our time together. Yes. But anyway, you know, a lot of people think that just because we're twins, we must be exactly the same, right? But that's not the case. It's not true. No, we actually have many differences, right? And we actually have a game called Notice the Differences. Oh, yeah. Do you want to play a game? Sure. Okay. Okay, I didn't know. Why don't you start? Notice the differences. My favorite color is red. My favorite color is blue. My favorite flavor is vanilla. My favorite flavor is chocolate. I like dogs. I do drugs. I've dated a model. I've done a homeless girl. I always give money to the homeless man who sleeps outside on my corner. Thank you. There it is. Not bad. I liked it. There were a few good acts on that.
All right. Let's see. Oh, oh, oh, oh. I want to do this for a friend of mine. Blood drive. I wanted to let people know that there's a blood drive going on tomorrow. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. JDM Salon 8555 Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa. Time slots available for giving blood. And if you want to make an appointment or get a time slot, why don't you visit the following website? JDMSalon.com. Yeah, I thought that was a pretty cool thing. They're doing a blood drive. It's a pretty nice thing to do. Free shampoo and blow dry for those who give blood. Starbucks coffee and sushi from Bamboo Sushi. Hello. And all the surrounding businesses are participating. So, kind of cool thing. Blood drive tomorrow. 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. People, get out there. Get in on that. So, would you like to know what the next Eddie and B-Rob challenge is going to be? Oh, my gosh. The next Eddie and B-Rob challenge. Now, they have done a ton of challenges. They've probably done a dozen, 12 challenges at least. At least. B-Rob has won two, and one of them I lost for Eddie. Eddie had the flu. Eddie had the flu, and I raced in a go-kart for him, got smoked. But in defense to me, Rob only weighs six pounds. And so in that car...
It was extraordinarily light, and he just flew through it. It's cute. Is that Alanis Morissette? Yep. Does she look different to anybody? What does she look different, Eddie? That's what I thought. No way. Dude, I've always known Alanis Morissette to be super skinny. Well, she doesn't look chunky. She looks normal. Okay. She used to be like heroin thin. Hang on. They'll show like Carnie Wilson and we'll be like, is there anything? And Skye will be like, well, yeah, she's a normal girl. No, Ashley does not think that's a normal girl. Like, that's what I look like. No, Skye, you have a distorted perception. Speak on it, Ash. Skye, you have a distorted perception. Speak on it. Show her double chin. It would be as if... She ate the old Alanis Morissette? Be as if, like, Alanis Morissette all of a sudden turned into Beyonce. It's just you're not used to it. Oh, no, it isn't. No, it's not. Look at her arms, dude. That's not Beyonce. She's not Beyonce because she's not toned. Like, Beyonce's bigger but toned. Like, Alanis looks a little... Slab town. You know what? She just looks like she's enjoying some hamburgers and she's okay with it. Yeah, she's healthy. I have no problem with that. Oh, my.
Ooh, she did just break up with Ryan Reynolds. She didn't just break up with her. That was like a year ago. Are you kidding? That's why. Maybe she's still hungry after a year. It's been a year, Ash. No, I mean, maybe that's why he broke up with her. Oh. Skye, why do you do that? Wow. Does it make you feel better? She doesn't look bad, but she is definitely getting a lot of weight. Wow. Everyone's not anorexic. Sky, it isn't an anorexic thing. She doesn't weigh 110 pounds, okay? Will you grow up? Okay, here's a question, Sky. She's probably like a size 8. Sky. Yes. She is not a size 8, Sky. Yes, she is. Ash, can I say what I think probably she is, and you tell me if you think that's right? I would say she's probably... She's between a 10 and a 12. Yeah, I'd say that's correct. And just to see that on Alanis Morissette's figure, because I don't even think that that's big, but to see that on someone who used to be probably a size 10. Do you always think of Alanis Morissette as being a very, very, very thin person? Yeah, absolutely. So it's a change, you know? Hey, hey, hey, you know what? I'm going to say this. I'm going to say this. I actually think that she's a good-looking person. And if I saw her, if I saw her, I'd go, oh, that's a good-looking girl. But it...
Is different for Alanis Morissette. Right. You go, oh, it just looks different. How so? When you grow up. Look at her body language. Well, Skye. She's warped. Society is warped. You're guys looking at that like she's a fat chick and she's not a fat chick. Hang on. She is not. Who said fat chick? You guys did. You're wrong. With your eyeballs. You're warped. Your eyeballs said it. I don't think that she's a fat chick. I think that she is. She's gained weight. That's all we said. Yeah, yeah. She's gained weight. And I agreed. She's a heavy hottie, Skye. Just deal with it. She's not heavy. I didn't mean heavy in my fat sense. What do you mean? Thick. I mean, it just literally would be like Keira Knightley all of a sudden looks like a size 10 and you're just like, whoa. Like a tub of lard. You know. I don't think she looks fat at all. Listen, I do think that Skye is right in that. I think Skye's right in that I do think that we're conditioned to think something. Yeah. For sure. Of course. Of course. I think that we're conditioned to think. Yeah, but Skye has this warped perception of what she thinks she looks like. Like, she'll see. Skye thinks that she's. Skye, you are not a size 12. You don't look like Skye at all. Yeah, you aren't as big as Atlantis. Atlantis is not a size 12 either. She's between a 10 and a 12. Would you agree? I bet if we stood side to side, we're like the same. You're crazy. I swear. I swear. I'm not crazy. You have people that can see you every day. I see me every day. I think so.
She's gorgeous. See, I think that, you know what? You want to know what I think? I think that Skye is playing into her own thing that she's saying. Here she is, and she's like criticizing because we have a perception. She's got it too of herself. She's been conditioned by society to think that she. It's very sad. I don't even know what you mean by that. This is what I mean. If you weren't conditioned, if you weren't conditioned by society, you would be able to look at that and go, yeah, that's not what I look like. I look different than that. You wouldn't be making a judgment call. You would just know that you look different. Well, see, I don't believe that. But, Skye, you know. You've told me off the air that you have this about yourself. You know. No other people tell me that. Hang on. No. You know that girls that are super skinny, they look in the mirror, they see something different. Mama Cass. She did not see something different, at least not that we ever heard of. I'm saying they see Mama Cass. They see Mama Cass. But you know that that's the deal with those real super skinny chicks. They look in the mirror and they think that they're fat. Well, you're looking at a TV and you go, oh, yeah, that's what I look like. It's the distorted thing. I believe that I am average like weight for a girl. I'm not skinny. I'm not overweight. I'm average. You're perfect. And I believe that's what Atlantis is as well. She's heavier than you. I believe if we look in those pants of hers and those gray little slacks, we're going to see a size eight.
No. You're not. You're not, Skye. Look at that. I'm calling the Today Show and asking them to look in her pants. Skye, for a chick, for a chick, for a chick, for a chick, a size, a size six or seven is considered like, that's a, that's not true. I thought a six or a seven is considered, like, perfect. Oh, well, I was going to say, because I know that Sky has read, like, statistics, like, on average. Like, a normal woman is between a size 10 and 12. That's why I don't think that Alanis, like, is fat. I think that she looks normal. I just don't think that we're used to seeing Alanis be a size 10 or 12. We're used to her being a size zero. Really? So... Yeah. A normal chick should be a size 10 or 12? No, it is. An average woman. An average American woman. No, not here. America, Mike. Like, it's totally normal, and they look great, you know, but we're just not used to seeing Atlantis like that. Girls in San Diego, your typical girl is not a size 12. Your typical, I wonder if they were to do, if they were to go to Pacific Beach. Oh, well, if we're just going to Pacific Beach.
Okay, Pacific Beach, Del Mar, and La Jolla. The college area. I'll see that you see your... That's different from like... Where should we go? Chula Vista, National City. If you say San Diego County. San Diego County. I think we would still be a little bit under the national average. Not when we add the entire county. Because, unfortunately, you're going to have some communities that are going to throw the curve off a little bit. Like what? Well... Pacific Beach, Del Mar, and La Jolla are going to throw the curve one way. It's pretty fit. Chula Vista, National City. Why are you saying that? I'll say it. I'll say it. I'll say it. Hang on a second.
I'm going to say it. I'm going to say it. He's going to say it, you guys. I got no problem. I'm a chunky monkey. I'm a chunky monkey. In my nationality, I'm Mexican. In my nationality, the way that we grow up is eating food that is not salad. Is that nice? Is that a nice way to put it? We eat the opposite of salad. Okay. Your Mexican-ness is what defines you. Well, that and my butt. Line of wealth to have a little extra weight on you. Oh, dude. Okay, that brings this up. I see nothing wrong with it. That brings this up. Are you fat? So check this out. Sky is so right, man. So our housekeeper from Mexico, sometimes when we will... do like a big party at the house, she'll come over and so will her sister. Okay? And she says to my wife before the sister gets there, she goes, oh my gosh, my sister is so fat. Now, Rebecca goes, really? She goes, I haven't seen her for what? She goes, she can't stop eating. And she goes, oh really? She goes, wow, I haven't seen her for a while. Well, she comes over and
Rebecca is thinking to herself, oh, well, you know, because it happened. Like she comes over like almost right then and there. So she walks in and she says that they're talking a little bit, blah, blah, blah. And Rosa right to her and in front of her goes, and look, you're getting so fat. You're eating so much. And she kind of giggles. Hey, I know. I can't stop eating. And so I think that in that culture, it's not like here. In America where it's like calling someone a bad word. In other countries, I think Sky might be right. It may be a sign of like affluence. And you're well off because you can afford good food. Like the foreign country of Canada? I don't know. So is that a compliment next time I see her? I'm the richest woman in the world. Wait a minute, Eddie. Sky's giving you a look. Okay, Eddie's giving her the wave. I mean, Eddie just basically said, Sky is the fattest woman in the world. Eddie's coming around to you. Oh, Sky's getting away from him. Sky's moving away from Eddie. The Mikey Show. Welcome back to Battle of the Sexes. Team Sass. Calm down with that. Well, you guys are tied. I mean, Team Sass and Team Awesome are tied here. We know. Chantel. What? You may get this. Oh, I hope so. Doubtful. Chantel. Why don't you doubt me? What's Rambo's first name? I thought it was just Rambo. I didn't know he had a first name. Rambo. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock.
It's a Mikey show, and it is 9.32. We have some breaking news. Eddie is officially the worst friend in the history of friends. Well, I just, here's the thing. Here's the thing, because they've been, this has been going on, you know, all during the commercials. That's crazy. Eddie's been trying to. hug it out with Skye, and she's not having it because right before we went to break, he called her a last more set. No, I didn't. No, he said I was the fattest woman in the world is what he said. No, I didn't. Is actually what he said, Mike. Let me teach you a little stuff about comedy. What did you say? There's a type of comedy where you make, like, opposite jokes, like things that are opposite. Give me an example. Like, if you were to say, like, if you were to say, Don't do it. that is really masculine. That's an opposite joke. Like the joke is, oh, that's so funny because that is not. It doesn't feel so good, does it? Okay, so. So you get it. Like that's a funny joke. Right. Another way of saying, is that like, it's like sarcasm kind of, you know, it's sort of like sarcasm. So I made the joke that Skye was the richest woman in the world because the comment earlier was that in some cultures that it's. If you're overweight, it means that it's, it means that you're very wealthy. But Skye is gorgeous. She's.
Perfect. She is not overweight. Not even a pound overweight. She's perfection personified. And that's why I made the joke. So during the commercials, Eddie's trying to, of course, hug Sky and she's not having any of it. I want to explain to her how much I care for this lady. Well, I don't know that it was made any better because, you know, right before we came back on the air, Eddie said, listen, you know, can I write you a check? And I said, now, Eddie, why did you offer to write it? And he goes, Mike, So I'm fat and I'm greedy. Awesome. Awesome. These are things friends say to one another. Utterly horrendous. Eddie is working it out in his head. He's like, you're not fat. At all. But what does that mean? Mike, can you give your testimony? She's perfect. We're going to take three days to think about what we did. I will not accept this. You're perfect.
Come on. Hug it out, bitch. Let's hug it out. No. I'm sorry. Let's not. I didn't know what I was doing. What, were you drunk? Yes, a little bit. A little bit. It was a lapse in judgment. How can I make this up to you? I can't even think of a word right now. Where do we begin, Eddie? Where do we begin? Oh, shut up, Sean. I won't make a Sky joke for the rest of the show. You know he loves you. No, Sky, listen, this is good. This is P1 Bounty Hunter. Bounty Hunter, go ahead. Yeah, good morning, everyone. I just wanted to say that I travel back and forth to the Philippines, and they laugh at fat people, but they also think that the fat people are very rich. So it's funny, but it's very good, too, because they're rich? That's what they think. Ah, well, thank you. But how does that apply to Sky, because she's not fat? She made a comment about other cultures. me think that fat people have money. So he's, yeah, he's not trying to make a joke or anything. He's just stating facts. Correct. In the Philippines, it's a sign of wealth. Wow. Didn't know that. All right, then. That's very interesting. All right. Well, thank you. Thank you, Rob, for screening that call. No, you were right. I'm trying to make you feel good. I don't know. You were right. When you go jogging, do you leave potholes? Wait a second. I don't know that that's going to help anything. Sean.
At this moment. You know, I have people who love me, okay? There are people out there who love me. That's right. His name is Eddie. His name is Eddie. I am your number one fan. His name is Eddie. And we all know this. That's right. So, relax. Guy loves him some sky. You can say that three times. It just got weird. Maybe we should move on then. I think we should, so we can get out of here. Maybe we should go on to the next... This is really bad. When you make love, you have to give directions. Okay, that's not going to help at all, Sean. That's your boy. That's not going to do it. Sean. That's not me. Really, Sean? That will not do it. Not do it. Oh, did it? Oh, I'm sure it did. Okay. Maybe my fingers just slipped down my throat. Okay, that's not it. Now you see what you've done. Now you see what you've done. Now you see what everybody has done here. Way to go, Sean. Great. Oh, yeah, Eddie, it's Sean's fault. Great.
I think we all agree with that. Eddie? Yo, homie. It's going to get uncomfortable when we announce what the challenge is. Let's not do this now. But you said that what we were supposed to do was announce the Eddie B-Rob challenge. Sean ruined it, so let's move on. Wait a second. Don't put it all on Sean, Eddie. You started it. I don't know what you're talking about. You do. The next Eddie and B-Rob challenge. is sumo wrestling. Oh, come on, Mike. You're making that up. It's not a good time to say that. Look at the few ones in the studio that won their way in. They have their heads back in their laps. I don't care. It's Eddie and B-Rob are doing it. You aren't involved. That's right. What they're going to do is they're going to practice the fine art of sumo wrestling. They'll put on the sumo garb, and they will get into a ring, and then the first one to knock the other one out of the ring is the winner. I love that. I understand that sumo wrestlers are very wealthy. That is true. Thus, they're looked upon as legendary figures in their culture. In Japan. Fat and proud. That is right. In Japan, it is quite an honor to be a sumo wrestler.
And so, Eddie, you will be dressing in the traditional sumo garb. Yes. And so will Boston Rob. The two of us will. That's right. Oh, yeah, maybe you can just borrow something out of my closet. I'm not going there. Eddie. I won't go there. Well, then you better do something to make it good right away. Well, it's a ridiculous comment. Why? Based on what you said, I'm the fattest woman on the planet. Are you? I don't know. I'm just going off what you're telling all of San Diego. Stop it. Well, this definitely goes back to the earlier thing about men and women. Yeah, because Tal and Eddie. You know, the whole sensitive thing. You're trying to be funny and you're not. You're trying to make a ha-ha and you're not. But he says, hey, listen, it was a mistake. I'm a jerk. So let's do this. Let's move. Maybe she could be Sky Kizuna, you know? Hey, listen. Why is Sean paying on? You listen to me. Why won't he stop, Mike? Because my feelings aren't hurt enough, Sean. Thank you. Stop it. Eddie is doing his best. I won't do it. In Sky's honor, I will not support Sean right now. In Sky's honor. I will not. Thank you, Ashley. I respect that. Sky was waiting for Ashley to come back into the studio so that she could talk girl talk with her. I could talk to somebody. I know. I'm here for you. I'm here for you. Where's the challenge going to be and when is this? Sky's house. Nice one, Sky. Yeah, she's on the roll. It's bad.
Clearly, there's a disconnect between the men and the women on the show. You know, like the men having a good time. Eddie, what is that look Eddie's got? I don't even know what the thing is. Well, he's come over to the good side. He's on our side. Is she saying we'll go to the mansion for this then? Eddie's on our side. Well, Sean is hundreds of miles away. Sean is hundreds of miles away. That's the only way he's... He is hundreds of miles away. Leave my friend alone. I'm just asking. How dare you be hundreds of miles away from us and say that stuff? Maybe we'll just put the stadium on the ground. Eddie is mouthing to Sky, I'm fighting for you. Yes, and I know that, and I know Sean is now being a huge jerk, but you're the one who kicked it all off, Eddie. We wouldn't even have brought it up again. So you're both jerks. You're the one that made your little tease. If you wouldn't have brought it up again, it would have gone away. Oh, okay. Mike wouldn't have brought it up. You wouldn't have. Mike is sensitive. Mike is sensitive to your feelings. He's a sensitive guy. I have to do the beer up, Eddie thing. We are. You know what?
Maybe your blood sugar is low, Sky. You might want to have a little summer. Sean, you are not here, bro. You're not here. Look at Ashley Stoneface. Ashley Stoneface. I'm biting my lips. I'm holding back. I don't want to hurt Sean's feelings and I will if I talk. Thank you. Stop. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody, please. Sean's got some balls on him, though. Oblongs. Wow. Let me check. Quimby just... Yes, I do. Quimby just IM'd me. Wow, this went well. It did not, Mike. It did not. It did not go well. No, no. It did not go well. Let's take phone calls. Are we taking show? We did a good idea. I don't know if we should do that. Yes. Quimby. Hi, Quimby. Be cool, Quimby. Hi, I'm calling to support Sky. Thank you. Support. Oh, really, Quimby? Are you going to go talk your crap afterwards on the P1 site? Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something, Quimby. I'm the true supporter of Sky. Don't call anyone your false Sky love. There you go, Eddie. Win your girl back. Win your girl back. I don't need no two-talker, two-face talker. Sky, how about Eddie now? You loving him? Ain't nobody talk crap about my lady. That's right. I love sassy fat chicks. Ain't nobody.
Sean! You son of a gun? How dare you not be here? You're an easy person. How dare you not be here? He's perfect. He's perfect. Boo's going to be mad at me now, too. Oh, no. I know he is. I know he is. He is so pissed. He is going to call and insult your wife, and he's going to call and insult Sean's wife, and then see how you guys... Okay, wait a second. Rob... Do I take that or do I not take that? Then why did you put it up there? I don't know. No, I'm hanging up on that guy. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. You want the boo to call your fiancé? What am I supposed to? You want that? No way. I already hung up on him. Thank you. Don't go to the phones and I'm not going to because I know myself. Should we move on to the next? Yes, we should. Anything, Mike. Give the location of the sumo. Eddie, where? I'm not going. Eddie's shaking his head. He's not going. You have to. You're the star of it. Eddie, you're going to be the guy doing it. You're the guy in the challenge. It's the Eddie. First, the tchotchkes joke doesn't go over. You're still hanging on the batting. Don't remind us of the tchotchkes joke. Let it go, bro. This is the worst day of my life. I'm too good for this. Eddie, you are a...
I deserve better. Eddie made a joke earlier in reference to tchotchke. King of clown town over here. It's fine. Can you believe this junk? I'll sit here on my flat joke. Well, it just sucks because, you know, Eddie's funny and right now he's getting beaten up. Right, telling a bad joke compared to calling someone the fattest woman in the world are really on the same level. They're not, but not laughing at somebody's awesome joke is. That hurts, right? That hurts. I let it go because she's my friend. This is getting crazy. I can't stop eating. Oh, no. Why are you playing this on? Because it makes everybody happy whenever we play it. Yeah, is everybody better? We all love it. Just don't let Sky sit on you. Okay, listen. That is the last one. That's it. I don't find that funny. He's not Eddie. Funny boo, don't start punching walls.
I'm okay. I'm fine, Bunny Boo. I am fine. Don't get upset. I'll protect her, Bunny Boo. I got her back, and I will take care of her until she gets home to your loving arms. You started it, man. I take it back. I don't know what else to do. He's going to be like, oh, great. He understands humor. He called you down a fright chest. What does he have to say? That's right. That's right. Like, right now, he was really mad at home, and then he was like, oh, yeah. What a weird day. I think it's maybe the weather. Shut up. Rob, you're such a jerk. You have an afro. What are you even talking about? It's true.
One of the P1s just left. Like, it got too uncomfortable for him. Like, he's out. Well, this went well. He's like, hey, guys, this was really fun winning this. He throws the laminate on the table. He's like, and take the stupid laminate, all right? I'm out of here. Suck it. Well, where were we? Sky's gorgeous. Something about sumo wrestling. Where was it? Sean's a jerk. Yeah, Eddie, where is it going to be? Where are you and Rob going to sumo wrestle? Tread Lightly, you're all right. We're going to be in North County. Okay. What up? What up? Yay, Skye's town. Maybe the boo will attend. I hope he does. Skye's town. Where will it be? Let me take care of this. Please, Mike. Mike, set us on track here, will you? Please, Mike. Please. This is going to be next Thursday. All right. Mark it in your calendars, P1. That's right. Next Thursday? May 29th. Gotcha. What's up? Hold on. Wait a minute. Where are we going?
It's going to be at L.A. Boxing. All right. Located within a shopping center at 2622 El Camino Real in Carlsbad. What up? 2622 El Camino Real in Carlsbad. L.A. Boxing. All right. And there it is. And they're going to sumo wrestle there. Beer Abinetti. Yes. We don't have to point that out anymore. Did I escape this? Huh? Did I escape this? Am I good to go? You're a great friend. Oh, you are lucky, man. I mean, physically, I just felt like... Relief. Yeah. Instant relief. Instant relief. I know. I saw it. Wow. In your body language. I would sure hate to be Sean right now. Oh, that would be the last person on earth I'd want to be. What? I'll say. Yeah. Eddie. Eddie, I mean, I don't... I'm with you guys.
Should I take calls? No, no. I don't know about that. Just try one. Why don't we screen them and find good ones? No, no, no. It's not funny. P1s? Nice ones. P1s? This is not funny. I'm being dead serious. No more. No more. For real. Think of your girlfriend or wife. Would she want to be called fat? Probably not. It was a bad joke. Ashley, don't. That's not. He didn't say that. Well, I'm translating for him. Please don't. do that ever again. Don't translate. I'm Eddie's translator. He said what he said and then I let the P1s know what he meant. It's my job. I'm an assistant. How we work. Maybe just go to some news items here, Eddie. What do you think? Read some news items here. We got a list of the top beaches in America. Did San Diego make the list of the top beaches in America? Sky.
Coronado Beach is number five on the list. There you go. Eddie just winced. I don't know. This guy's got a set on him. We're talking about the beach. When have we brought up beaches where you've ever played a whale sound effect? I mean, ever, ever, ever. I'm trying to expand my... Sean, you're straight tripping right now. Boo. You are straight tripping, boo. You're straight tripping, boo. I'm not tripping. There you are. I'm trying to do my job. You're tripping. Mm-mm. You're wigging out, dude. Let's see. What else? You need to check yourself. What? It was an accident. Was that? It was... I was trying to... An elephant? Hey, Mike. We're not even... Buckley's on three, and he sounded pretty nice and genuine, so... Maybe he'll sing to her. Maybe he'll sing to her. People in Buckley? Buckley, how are you? I just want to call and support my girl, Skye. I came in the studio a couple weeks ago, and I think she's smoking. She's got a beautiful body. She's a great girl. And I'd just like to sing her a song to cheer her up. Thank you very much. Awesome. Go ahead. Okay, Skye, it's called Fat Bottom Girls. That may not help. Eddie, don't look like you're going to laugh. Eddie, looking like you're going to laugh is not going to help. You did not tell me. Not going to help. Wrong.
Eddie, Sean, you laughing isn't helping. I didn't know what he was going to say. That isn't going to help the situation. Thank you, Buckley. He's singing a Queen song. What was it? Anyways. Rob screamed that. I'm sure he did. He probably suggested it. I did not. That is a lie, Scott. Rob, I'm sorry that not everyone can be anorexic like you. Okay? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. For $49.99, you can go to bostonrob.edu. Eddie just gave me the break signal. I appreciate that, Eddie. What is that, Rob? You idiot. The first button. Hold on. No. No. I put that there weeks ago. Half an hour ago. Oh, I'm sure you did. I promise you I did. Over this. A quick time out.
Should be comfortable here in the studio. And then we'll come back and, you know, we'll talk on the radio. I'm going to put my feet up, Mike, and relax. You're a jerk. Petty, you'll help me out with this one? I'm looking at all the songs that this clown put in here. This is a long time ago. I don't change them when we're on here. We'll be back. Dear people of the world, the Mikey Show is on. But at what cost? At what cost? This. is the rock. Corona, official sponsor of The Time Out presents Great Moments in Time Out History. July 28th, 1984. Zero-zero, bottom of the ninth. A pitcher's duel? Hardly. It was just boring. Three hours of life that no one will ever get back. But then, a play for the record books. It wasn't a triple play or a diving catch or even the camera catching someone scratch a body part.
It was short reliever Ned Nederson in the bullpen, getting the call from his manager. The only problem, Ned wasn't picking up. Ned let that phone ring and ring, for he had already set up an umbrella over his chair and turned the bullpen radio from the game to all Calypso radio. An all-star effort in Corona's opinion, proving that when you get the call, answer it when you're darn well ready. Like when you're done with your ice-cold Corona and Lyme. This has been another great moment in Time Out history. Corona and Corona Life. Imported by Crown Imports, Chicago, Illinois. 9-1-1, what's your emergency? Each year, one by someone. After we had awake, I bounced off and was run over by a boat. The propeller nearly severed my fingers, arm, and leg. One minute I was riding along, the next I was lying on the shore bleeding. Since then, I've had six surgeries. If only the boater hadn't been drinking that day, I could still do the things I used to do, and I wouldn't have this pain every day. Remember, if it's your boat, it's your responsibility.

Let's see. Major League Baseball may try out instant replay. How about that? When were they going to think about doing it? Well, they're talking about doing it in the fall league and just testing it out, see if they like it. And really, they're only going to use it to see if balls are home runs or not. And if that goes okay, then the Major League Baseball may try it. So it's for officiating? Yes. They don't need to put one in at Petco, right? What do you mean? We don't hit home runs. That's a great point. They save money. The legal saves some money. They're like, oh, we don't have to put one in an impeccable. Don't even bother. But if we get a visiting team, then obviously they can bring theirs with them. That's fine. I don't understand how there's confusion whether something's a home run or not. Like, isn't that pretty clear? Sometimes it's not. If you, you know, if it's trailing and going, you know, past the foul pole, you can't tell whether or not it went fair or foul.
If it hits, you know, when you see the fence in the outfield, it has like a yellow line. And if it goes over that line, it's a home run. If it hits the line, it's not. Sometimes they need help. Prices of gas in San Diego hit an average of $4 a gallon, which to me is ridiculous. It's like, well, yeah, duh. Like, where is it below three? Well, yesterday, the gas station by my house was $3.99. This morning, driving to work, $4.13. It went up 13 cents overnight. That's it? Well, I just sit there, and I drive by all these different places, and to me, I don't see the number three anymore. Yeah, it was out there. Like, this morning, even driving in, the Arco down here by us was like $3.87, I believe. I mean, I'm sorry, $3.97. Oh, this is so gnarly. But yeah, now we're definitely $4 is now the average. This is the seventh time in the past eight weeks that we've set a brand new record on yesterday. Well, the thing that's really ridiculous about it is that I keep thinking to myself, oh, well, it'll stop here because this is ridiculous. You know, this is ridiculous. And so it can't go further because this is really bad. Not so much.
And then it keeps going. And no one does anything. And I think to myself, what's going on? Yeah. I mean, I understand, you know, it's got to be the Republicans. You know, we're causing everything. Thank you, Mike. Okay, but I don't think that that's really the deal. I think that if there was a Democrat in office, it would still be happening. And I think it's an American thing. Yeah, it's because we're dependent on foreign oil. And if they're having wars and having problems with their refineries and things like that, it just skyrockets the price. Call Daniel Plainview. Yeah, he's got all that oil. He'll fix it. I've abandoned my boy! He's got a lot of oil. Or maybe we just take over and then we own it all. Great idea. Really good idea. Really good idea. I think President Bush tried that. Let's start with Iraq. That's right. The president is trying that. Send him in. Yeah. I appoint you special counsel, Mikey. That's it. You can make it a new state. Yeah. You can live in, we'll make it a north and a south. I like it. People will have a, you know, southern accent, an eastern accent. Marvel Studios has announced plans for a movie based on something called Runaways. Apparently that used to be a comic book. They've now done every comic known to man. Yeah.
And they're now going to comics that are not known to man. Yeah, it's described as an award-winning comic book that launched in 2002. Runaways focus on a group of teenagers who run away from home after they discover their parents are super villains. And, of course, as the kids, they have powers, too, and they try and make up for their parents' evils. The head writer for the movie is also the head writer for Lost. Really? That's cool. Sounds kind of good. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Let's see. Madonna says adoption was as painful as childbirth. I'm sure that makes a lot of women feel good. Okay. Why does she say that? Well, I think we actually have a clip of her saying it herself. Let me see. She can explain it better because I'm sure I'll kind of take a negative slant on whatever she's trying to say. I am hoping that Madonna will be a very good father for it. That's...
There it is. Well said, Madonna. Wait a minute. Which clip is it? It's on my new sheet. Does it say? Cut nine? Cut nine. She candidly revealed the pain that she went through after being criticized for her adoption of Little David Banda. I sort of went through my own kind of birthing pains with dealing with the press on my front doorstep, accusing me of kidnapping or whatever you want to call it. And in the end, it made me stronger, so I can't complain. So it was the same? Yeah. Did you get an epidural? Yeah. A lot of women say that that childbirth is really painful. Well, I would assume so. Not as painful as sitting in your mansion, Mike. Right? With people outside. That's more painful. Fox is the season's most watched network for the first time since 1987. That's crazy! How about that? They say the success of the Super Bowl as well as American Idol put them over the top this year. What was it in 1987, married with children? Simpsons. Simpsons? What was it? I don't know. It doesn't say, but that sounds good. Let's see. World's craziest police chases. Yes. 21 Jump Street. Cops. When bands attack. No, no.
That's not... You don't think it's when bands attack? When animals attack. When Muslims attack. When airplanes attack. Number one show. That's a good one. Tornadoes yesterday in Riverside? Crazy. Weird. Global warming. Dude, like three days ago, it was a record heat wave. And then it's hailing and there's snow on Mount Laguna. And like, what the... There's raining frogs. It's cold. How could it be global warming? Exactly. Thank you. Take that, Al Gore. Maybe you should look into that. I'm going to write him a letter and tell him that. Watch a documentary or something. Be like, ha, point proven in your face. 570-1053. I think we're going to wrap it up, guys. We're out of stories. 570-1053 is our phone number.
And at the beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment, which means you can call in about anything you'd like. I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? Well, that's Chad Johnson from the Cincinnati Bengals, and Chad sits on hold the entire show. Yeah. And then at the end of the show, we hit the phone line that Chad's on, and Chad usually says the same thing. That's it? That's it, Chad. That's all we've got today. Yep. I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? No, I think we've pretty much hit on all the topics. No. No, no. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. 570-1053. Mikey Show. Hello. Hi. I was wondering if I could get on the air. You're on the air? It's an open phone segment. Oh, hey. Sorry about that. It's all right. He just shouted out. No, no. I was just trying to give him my take. Well, I hate you too. No, it's not that. I wasn't trying to. I wasn't trying to say anything bad. Go ahead, sir. Yes, please. You're on the air. Sorry about that. I wanted to basically talk about something. I don't know if you guys know, but today at noon at City Hall, Ron Paul is going to be in town to promote his new book and to give a speech. Who's Ron Paul? Who cares? You need to Google it.
He's a Republican running for president. No, John McCain is the only Republican. You know a lot of people are going over real quick. No, honestly, in all honesty, Ron Paul, he didn't drop out. He never did? No, he's still in the race. Oh, wow. Well, we should go there and tell him that he can't win. He's mathematically eliminated. He may not know that. It's over. He's going to be over real quick. I'm good. I have a question. I have a question for you. I don't know. I have a question. I might do it. Now, you will be there, I'm assuming. Yes. Is this Ron Paul? Hang on. And I think that that's cool. I mean, he's your guy, and so you want to go out there and see him. But you know what his message is, right? Yeah, freedom. Okay. Okay, let's say that the message is freedom. But you know that kind of it is, you know, Sky said it. He's mathematically eliminated. I mean. Well, I mean, history has shown that just because you're going into the convention with a small number of delegates doesn't mean you're necessarily out of the contest. Oh, I know. No, no, no. Well, I see what he's saying. When we go to the convention, what he's saying is actually true. If they're able to go throughout the floor and convince every state that this guy should be our nominee, that...
Could happen. But there's a... I mean, come on, dude. You know that there's a better chance of monkeys flying out of somebody's rear end than that happening. Okay. We'll see what happens in September, though. I mean, that's where it's going to all... Okay. Yeah, we will. That's right. I like that. The guy's rallying in support. All right. Today at noon. Wow. Today at noon at City Hall, Ron Paul's going to be giving a message, right? Yes, sir. There you go. Very cool. There you go. Hey, listen. The guy supports him. Yeah, I think everybody has a right to support their own guy and to like their own guy and, you know. Hey, man, that guy, he must believe it because he's, you know, see, for me, it'd be tough. I might go see Hawk just, I guess, because I'm a fan. Well, it's probably, I think that's what's going on here. Like, I think that guy gets in his head like, oh, man, it's probably, you know, it's pretty much over. But, you know, this is my boy. I'm going to go see him when he comes to town. I'd rather go see Walter Mondale at this point. Oh, yeah, but that's you. He's got a better chance. But that's you. I mean, this guy's a fan, you know? He's going to go out there. Whatever. I wonder how many people will be out there. I think a lot. Really? Yeah. I see Ron Paul's name all over the freeway. Yeah, lots of bumper stickers and banners. Yeah. People were into them. Homemade signs. That's right. I'm wearing one right now. Mikey Show. Hi, guys. This is T1 Shannon.
Oh, Eddie. Wait, say again. This is P1 Shannon. I just want to let you guys know that my fiancé is a Navy corpsman, and he actually got commissioned to go to the White House this weekend for Memorial Day, and I get to go. Oh, nice. Very nice. I'm going to kick George Bush in the nuts for America. We have George W. Bush here right now. He's actually in the studio. He will try. Let's see what happens. He will not take it. I'll put her in a triangle choke. Isn't that a wrestling move, President Bush? No, it isn't. Have you been training MMA? Mixed martial arts. UFC move. Play a little Rochambeau with her. I'll fight her and then Kimbo Slash. You bring it on. Kimbo Slash is a tough guy.
What's he going to do when he gets to the ground, Mike? So what are you saying, that your ground skills? I'll ground and pound him. Okay. Along with this lady. I don't know that you know what that means. What is ground and pound then, President Bush? It's like tenderizing. Okay. It's like tenderizing. Thank you very much. You wish. You wish. You wish. You wish. There's President Bush getting into a you wish fight? I know it. Thank you. Thank you for the call. I won. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, yes, hi. I just wanted to wish my fiancé a happy 10-year anniversary publicly. Nice. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What? Wish your fiancé a 10-year anniversary? Yes. You guys have been together for 10 years? 10 years. Oh, I got news for you. He's not your fiancé. You're legally married. Yeah. Not in California, we're not. Wow.
Nine years. Ten years. Ten years. What's the problem? What's the holdup? Yeah, what took ten years? Well, we're getting married next year, but ten years. What made him finally pop the question? It was popped a while ago. Our 14-year-old? You hear him in the background. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my goodness. And then when you guys did get married, he said, you guys both decided together, well, let's get married next year. Well, we planned it for this year, but a lot of things kind of got in the way to where we couldn't. end up getting married this year, but... What's another year? No matter what, next year it'll happen. Sure. And he's a P1 to die for, so I know he's probably grinning from ear to ear right now. There you go. Congratulations, you two lovebirds. Thanks. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hey, this is P1 Logan. What's up, dude? Hey, I just wanted to let Mikey know that while I disagree with him on religious issues and stuff like that, what he does on Fridays really kind of picks me up and makes the weekend. And that kind of kicks my weekend off. That's cool, man. I appreciate that. And thank you. That's very nice. Thank you for saying so. Take care. Thank you for saying that. Thank you for saying that. What does she say? I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Thank you, Oprah. I appreciate that. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, this is PNC. And have you guys seen those Sonic commercials with the husband and wife? Yeah.
I know that I've seen it, but I can't remember. Like, I'm picturing it right now in my head. The bald dude and specifically. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the idea of it? My husband and I, when we watch that, we pretend that's Skye and Mr. Skye. And it's really funny. What? I don't even know what the commercial is. They're in the drive-thru. It's a very loving couple that just loves each other. In the drive-thru. Yeah. And what? Next time you watch it. Pretend it's Skye. Is that an insult? It's not an insult, Skye. I haven't seen the commercial. I don't know. There are two people that love each other. What's the commercial? I don't even know. They're usually joking about what they got. It's funny. It's funny and sweet. Okay. But I don't know why she's picturing you and Mr. Skye. What are you mouthing to her? I said, look at this jerk, obviously. I mean, Skye doesn't deserve to be treated like this, and she's a queen among us all. I agree. Skye, how does that hit you? I'm a queen among us all. That's really sweet. We're all peasants and you're a queen and I bow down to you. But I don't need that. I just need normal friendship. You'll never have that. All you have is you're his queen. You're my queen. You'll never be normal. M'lady. M'lady. He bowed to you. That was sweet. Thank you. Sky banging her forehead against the microphone. It's been that kind of day. It really has.
Man, we don't need a three-day weekend, do we? Well, at the end of the show on Friday, I do something called my testimony. The idea of my testimony is that I tell you a little bit about my past. This is what it looked like. I was little. Abuse that my parents only recently found out about. And it was sad for them. And if you're a parent and you know that your kid's been abused, you know how painful that is. The cool thing is, is the kind of the moral of the story. Because I believe that God used me in a powerful way. I know that he didn't necessarily want for that to happen to me. But I know this. I know without the events that happened in my life the way that they happened, there would have been no way that I could tell you what he did for me in my life to wash it away. I give my testimony probably, I don't know, 50 times? I don't know how many times I give my testimony. My hands were just shaking.
This is the first time that's ever happened. I was addicted to alcohol. Experienced immense feelings of worthlessness. I've experienced neglect. I've experienced secrets that I couldn't tell anybody. Eating disorders. The kind of stuff where I used to close my drapes. I didn't want anybody to know what I was doing. All this embarrassment. I use this example that... You know, if you're a person, you're walking around and maybe you're missing a body part. Let's say you're missing a thumb or something. That's what I felt like. I always felt like I was trying to hide that. I didn't want anybody to see it. I was embarrassed of it. I was embarrassed of the abuse from when I was a kid. I was embarrassed of the neglect and the feeling that I was worthless. I was embarrassed of the fact that I was overweight my entire life. And I always felt that way. I always felt ugly. I always felt different.
I always felt short, always felt fat, always felt unattractive. And these feelings were like me missing a body part. It was like I was missing a thumb, and I never wanted anybody to see it, and I always tried to cover it up. And then I found this way that I thought was masking it, which was the alcohol, and it didn't really mask it. It made it worse. Throughout the years, I became more and more addicted to it. And right now, there are people that are listening to this broadcast. That are addicted to alcohol too. And you could be addicted to any kind of stuff, man. You could be addicted to cocaine or meth or pills. You could be doing stuff that nobody knows about. Like you have eating disorder. Or maybe you have depression that you haven't talked to anybody about. Or you're experiencing pain because you've lost your child. Or you're experiencing pain because of a miscarriage. Or you're experiencing pain.
Because you have lost your mother or your father or your husband or your wife or your grandparent. Or you've broken up or you're experiencing financial difficulties like you've never experienced before. And they have you in this sense of hopelessness. All of these things are creating this sense of hopelessness. That's what I had. I was in this place where I felt all this hopelessness. And this one night, I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. His ghost, his spirit came into my heart and he changed me from the inside out. And every day he's still changing me. And I don't feel like I used to feel before. I just don't feel those same feelings that I used to feel before. Everybody has insecurities for sure. But I have a sense of confidence today that I have never had. I've lost almost 20 pounds. That doesn't seem like a lot to a lot of people. Dude, that's huge. Yeah. That is huge. Congratulations. Thank you. I've lost almost 20 pounds. I know this. Through my entire friendship with every friend that I've ever had, I've struggled with weight. I've struggled with weight my whole life. I had a gastric bypass and it made me lose some weight and then I gained it back. This is the first time I've ever lost weight that I'm... I didn't even know it, man. I was praying about it and it's just happened. And I think...
I don't know. But I think that the reason that it happened is so that I could tell you that Jesus Christ is a friend of mine. And I love him so much. I love him so much. And he did this. He changed me. He changed me. He made me lose weight. And I love him so much. And I tell you this on Fridays because I want you to know that if you're feeling that sense of hopelessness that I was feeling, you don't have to. And this is what I did. That's all. This is what I did. And changed everything for me. This weekend I'm giving a full version of my testimony at San Miguel Community Church in Chula Vista on Sunday morning at 1030. I'd like to invite anybody that would like to come to come out in there and see it. And I also want to let you know that if you're experiencing any of these things that I've talked about, you can go to MikeyShow.com and there's a keyword section there. Just type in the word help and it'll take you to a help page that'll give you resources on ways to get better.
It'll tell you so many things that can change your life. And I really, really, really invite people to go to that site right now and check into it. At the end of the show on Fridays, we play a song by a band called Third Day. And this song is about hope. Third Day is actually playing in San Diego this weekend, along with a whole bunch of other really cool Christian bands at an event called Spirit West Coast. It's at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. I think it starts today, but I'm not sure. It's cool, dude. Yeah, for sure it's tomorrow and Sunday. It's super cool. Yeah. It really is. And a lot of the bands that you hear me playing are going to be playing out there, and Third Day's going to be there. And it's really going to be a neat event, and so just wanted to tell people about it. Tell people about the help page, and that's it. This song is by Third Day. The song's called Tunnel. The song is about hope. This song is so meaningful. The words to this are so powerful. Love you guys, and I'll see you on Tuesday. We'll be back here on Tuesday. Lovely and Talented Missy is up next. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Try to stay dry. See you Tuesday morning. The Mikey Show is out.
