to the program. It is 6-0-5. Some breaking news this morning. A crane collapsed on top of a building on the Upper East Side of New York. Padres rallied behind Jody Garrett's three-run home run in the eighth and beat Washington 5-2. Yeah, that crane thing is a big deal, man. It just happened. And so they're going to be showing it on television throughout the morning. It looked like a giant crane, man. And it came down and obviously there's people on the street below. And so they're trying to Get people out of there. Dig people out. Who knows how many people were in that building. So poor New York, man. Seems like they just have had a rough time, man. Different things going on there. Anyway, let's get you calling in. 570-1053. We got a lot to get to today. My name is Mikey. I'm 37. I have a goatee. And I've lost a little bit of weight.
and trying to find jeans that, you know, really accentuate my girlish figure. Look at you. Yeah, and so there it is. And what's tomorrow, Mike? Tomorrow's the big 3-8. Yeah, wow. There's Guam Day today. That's right. Today's Guam Day. Eddie has called this day Guam Day, and it is to commemorate the day that I was born for a long time. 13 years. Yes, that is correct. And then my mom found my birth certificate and realized, oh, it's not May 30th. No. She messed up your birthday? Well, you know, it was an honest mistake. Who does that? Well, you know, listen, you know, she had a lot of children. She had a lot of children. It happens. Well, you were born in Guam, so the time difference and like another. Oh, no, no, no. No. That messes people up. No. See, I am trying to be very, I think, forgiving a situation, but let's not call it something different. The equator runs through the middle of the world. It runs horizontally, not vertically, so it wouldn't make a difference timeline-wise. What's up? I mean, that would make more sense if I was born in New Zealand. Did you use the time machine?
Yeah, what about Doc Brown? I did not. I didn't do any of that with Doc Brown. No. People just wait. Maybe he moved Guam. To where New Zealand is. Please. That's all I'm saying. It's such a big day here today. Yeah, it is, Mike. There's so much. We have so much happening. We're doing a cookout outside. All of us are going to cook. All of us on the show, except for Shawnee, who's not here. He's in the Bay Area. But the rest of us, we're going to go outside and have headsets on, and we're going to cook, get a demonstration to cook. And you know that ridiculousness will ensue. There's going to be some disasters. Yes, there is going to be disasters. Donkey! That's right. Let's see. We're also going to do Battle of the Sexes today. Eddie, what are you drinking? I don't know that I've ever seen you drink this, whatever it is. What are you drinking? First time ever. No, no, no. It's not what you think it is. Thank goodness. It looks like an energy drink. It's not. I can't drink energy. You can't. I'll go crazy. No, it's some new sparkling beverage. Zero calories. It's got champagne in it. Yeah, it's delicious. I don't know. I saw it at the grocery store. I wanted something different, and it's not an energy drink.
I thought I'd give it a shot. How about that? It's too weird, though. I'm never going to go back to it. It's weird. You don't like the taste? It's okay. It's just not worth it. It's not me, Mike. Yeah. That's right. It's no Coca-Cola classic. That's right. But what is? I don't know, but Eddie doesn't really go that way. I don't drink that in the morning. He goes more. It's not Dr. Pepper. No, she's just taking guesses now. No, Gatorade. There you go. Now she's got it. I don't drink those anymore. Fierce Gatorade. Now it's the flavored sparkling water. Thank you, Sky. What? Flavored sparkling water. When does he ever drink? Like every day. For like a year. Yeah. Eddie and Sky, they are friends. Yes. Till the end. Pinch poke. Call me a Coke. Eddie, anything interesting and new happening in your life? Announcement. Drum roll, please. I'm not ready. Drum roll, please. What? We officially got the house. How dare you? How dare you? For like 40 minutes. For 40 minutes. And you didn't even say anything. I asked you every single day. I asked him all the time.
I go, what's up, what the hell? I thought you guys were friends till the end. I thought we were. He saved it. When did you find out? Yesterday. And why didn't you call me? I wanted to do it on the air to make you crazy. It's a special moment where you get to share, everybody gets to share what your excitement is, your excitement level. No, I need to know these things immediately. Eddie, what can you tell us about it? Can you tell us anything? Sure. I'm so happy for you guys. Yeah, it's crazy. I honestly never thought I would live in a house like this. But it's the situation we're in right now with the housing market. And unfortunately, somebody's bad luck is my good luck. And that's just the way it goes. It's a great house. It's over in the La Mesa area. Is this the one that we saw online? I believe so. I mean, there was a couple I showed you. Nice. It's a great house. Me and my wife really wanted it, and it was a short sale, so we weren't real sure if it was going to happen, and yesterday we got word that it is the same thing's accepted. Nautical room. I think that Usher or 50 Cent lived in that thing beforehand. It's not that. No, I saw it on Cribs. I know I saw it on Cribs. It's not like Skye's place, but it's cool. Oh, shut up. How dare you? How dare you even go there?
If you need a company for a moat, I could recommend. You might need a moat and a drawbridge. I could recommend some pieces. I'm so happy for you guys. Yeah, that's pretty cool. That's very cool. We were both pretty blown away. I never let myself believe we were going to get it. Well, because how long have you been waiting? A little over a month. For the bank to get back to you. Do you have... Can you send me a link of it? We need to pick out our rooms. Well, we did get a few, and so I'm not sure if it's the one. We need to pick out our rooms. Yeah. Please. For sure. I will look for it. We'll hurry. Will you relax? Do it immediately, though. I need to plan things. How come we haven't received it yet? There's planning that needs to happen. I don't have a link yet. Where's the link? I need to plan it out. Hurry up. I am so happy for you guys. So, Eddie, give me a timeline. Do you guys know when you might be there? I won't know anything until today. I'll find out, like, what's going on when it closes and all that stuff probably later on today. So, it's pretty cool. Yes. You know, you should make a game out of it. You move each item from your home one object at a time. Kind of made it fun for us. What we did was, you know, first we were like, oh, this is the little cup we keep our pens in. And we took that over there. That would take forever.
And then the next day we were like, let's take our bed. And so we took that. And the next day we were like, what about sheets? You savor it. You get more out of it that way. Eventually we'll have a living room. All right. We'll take forever, Mike. Skye is our forever, Mike. And she is 30 years old. She has curly hair. Yeah. I, you know, mixed up my schedule yesterday so I could watch Lost. So I'm kind of. She's a mess today. Yeah, I'm a mess today. I took a late nap. I napped from 4 to 7 yesterday. You're weird. So I would be able, I woke up from my nap at 7 p.m., so I would be able to stay up and watch Lost last night. Wow. Oh, wow. Wow. So I'm kind of a little loopy today. I'm not going to lie to you. Yeah. And Eddie got the house. Oh, yeah. Good day. I watched the first.
five minutes of Lost, and it looks so good, and I just, I didn't get it, you know? And you know when they do the thing where they go, previously on Lost. Love that guy. I watched it because I wanted to understand, you know, and I did not understand. Previously on Lost. There's a lot going on. Well said. Sean is our sound effects guy, and he lives in the Bay Area. We're not getting him on the camera? No, cameras aren't working. It's really upsetting me, Mike. What's going on with the cameras? It's our service. I need to see him. Yeah, we've been working on it. Is it on his end? Is it on our end? Or is it the whole company that we use? Yeah, it's the company that we come up with. They're stupid. All right. These things happen. Man, this is, I get very frustrated with 2008. Yeah. You know, because we're not advanced. We think we are because we have a latest and greatest of something, and it's not. No, we're still working. As cool as you think that iPhone is, it's not, really. It's lame, man. I know. I got one. It's lame. It doesn't let me read my wife's mind. Wow. Eventually, it probably will. It'll do something like that. I can't take my iPhone and go, order breakfast.
And it already knows what I like and orders it, and it's here, and it uses the credit card, and everything's taken. It doesn't do that yet. Well, this isn't the Jetsons, Mike. Well, I'm telling you, though, Ash, they would have thought the Jetsons was the current iPhone. You know? But everything... I went behind... Looks frustrated. What's going on? I wasn't hearing my XM satellite radio at home. And so I thought, oh, I know what to do. I'll go behind my receiver. And I'll just find out if there's an issue. And I just, I know I'm not equipped. I'm not prepared. I'm not prepared. I'm not, you know, not only am I not prepared in the skill level, I'm not prepared emotionally. Emotionally, I'm not prepared to go behind there. And Tony, if you're listening, you do a wonderful job. I screw it up. You're good. I'm bad. I don't know what I'm doing.
And before you tell me, Tony, I know I shouldn't be back there. I know that. I'm a bad person. I don't know any of this. So, yeah, I need Tony to get my XM back on. And I also need to figure out how to get my PS3 working again. How did that go out? Dude, I'll tell you. Fine. Can we come clean then? Can we just? I would hope so. Let it out. Here we go. Let it out. It feels good to let it out. It's okay. Because I've been hiding these secrets. I know. I'm going to judge you. Sean. I just want you to know that. Please don't judge me. I unplugged things. Why? Why? See, that's what I asked you guys not to do. That was so painful when you lied and even yelled out, but why? Why? Because I'm... I make poor choices at times. Sometimes I make poor choices, and that makes me person. That's because I'm a person. And I made a poor choice. Now you have to live with it. It was a dumb choice, Mike. That's kind of what I meant by please don't. That was judgment, probably. That was a little rough. Ashley is our... Did I introduce Shawnee, oh boy?
Yeah. Shawnee's our sound effects guy. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years old. She has blonde hair. She likes to cook. That is an accurate statement. I'm really getting good at it. See? Do you see what I... I made a statement. I felt my statement was full of accuracies. And then Ashley made a statement. And then her statement, I feel, crossed that line of accuracies. What? But you don't know. Wait a second, Ash. I'm going to read what you made for dinner last night. For my honey? She made spicy breaded chicken with zucchini squash and seashell pasta with organic pasta sauce and whole wheat French bread. So good. That's not. It was. It was delicious. My honey loved it. He loves you. He does. Why wouldn't he? Well, I can tell you.
I can tell you he loves you because he told you that whole wheat French bread tasted good. He loved it. It's healthier. Oh, boy. That sounds so bad to me. It's delish. And I was at Henry's yesterday, and I even made the switch to I now will use whole wheat flour for my cookies and baking stuff as opposed to regular enriched white bleach flour. Utterly horrendous. So I'm just making small changes. Boy, that Henry really changes people, doesn't he? I like him. For the worse. I like him and everything he represents. I know you do. That must be why, while you visited Henry, you also bought your new deodorant. Eddie, let me explain. It is 100% natural mineral salt. Oh, forget it. Hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. Helps protect the environment. Is supported by breast cancer research centers. And Ashley says it's the best deodorant ever. Is it working? Oh, man. Let me see. I can't. There's a shadow. I don't see any sweat. I don't see any sweat. Can you imagine if that was the key the whole time? Is it because of that email we got the other day? What, Skye? I don't know what you're talking about. He once sent us an email. I thought he sent it to both of us about how, you know, anti...
Perspirant is linked to possibly breast cancer. No. And so, you know. I didn't even read that. Deodorant's okay, but antiperspirant is not okay. I didn't even read that. No. I just was at Henry's, and I saw this deodorant, and I'm like, you know. You better not smell. And I'm like, hey, what's up with this? Come in here. Let me see. You know what I mean? Come in. Let me see. I'm like, organic deodorant. I'm in on that. Sounds good. Sounds like a tomato. I'll have to give that a try. Mineral salt? Hey. What? Why is that gross? I don't think deodorant should be organic. That sounds like produce. Stop it. What is that? Okay, Ash, wait, wait, wait. Stop it. No, she smelled it and then she started laughing like that. That's a scary part. That's a bad sign. Mike, don't do it. It doesn't smell. I'm a delicious smelling person. The sweat ring.
She always has a sweat. Yeah, there's always one. It is smaller. It is definitely smaller than the norm. It's silver dollar sized. Yeah. That's a good size. Yeah, it's normally Frisbee sized. No, you don't smell. Yes. Nice. You don't smell. Thank you. Let me see this pit. Don't hold it out like that. Just be normal. Come here. Just be normal. This is so awkward. No, you smell nice. You smell nice. So it works. It works. This might be it, Mike. Wait, wait, wait. Still early. It doesn't work on the sweat, but you smell nice. Well, we'll try again at the end of the show. Maybe it is working on the sweat, though, right? Because yesterday she showed us her pits. Well, yeah, yesterday you showed up. Yeah, it was like somebody had taken a wet volleyball and pressed it against. That's true. You know, yesterday there was a giant, but not today. So who knows? Maybe it's working. Let's see what happens after the cooking competition. Oh, man. See, right? No. Right? I bet. Well, we'll see. I'm not going to do that test two hours from now. I won't be willing. Zeth will do it. He likes it. He does. Yeah, I love it. That's right. Makes him happy. Here is our phone number. 570-1053.
And let's see. Our text number is 35253. I don't remember. Do I call my mom on my birthday? Is that a thing that I do? I know I call her on hers. Why would you call your mom on your birthday? To remind her of, hey, it was 38 years ago. I thought I did, but I don't remember. I don't think so. I don't want to. Let's see. Yeah, 5701053 is the number. And then the text is 35253. Two, five, three. We're going to be cooking outside. The whole show is cooking outside later. Got a stage, you know, and we're going to get on there. What's cooking? Good looking. That's right. What's cooking? Good looking. Monday, the folks here in the studio know this, but Monday, new sponsor, BMW, starts with us on Monday. Wow. Shut up. Yeah, dude. Okay, great. That's a BMW, bro. No way. That's really great.
It's really great. Yes. BMW Encinitas will begin with us. It's the one that I go to, which it's going to be kind of cool because I remember a while back, it was different when I used to go there and they're under new management and things are really cool and I really like it. So we're going to talk about that. We'll start with them on Monday. I'm so excited about it because I'm really passionate about the brand. Yeah, you are. Yeah, you are. She's always sending me pictures of cars. I'm like, yeah, it looks real pretty. She doesn't care, and I can't get her to. She's telling me about the engine, and I don't really give a rip. I can't get her to care. It's beautiful. You can get into a three series for a payment of $50 more than what Rob is currently paying. Really? He's not driving a BMW. I know, because he doesn't know. See, that's the thing. That's the thing. People don't know. That's the thing. People just don't know. Because I was sitting in there yesterday. I met with them for three hours. I wanted to go through their whole dealership. I met everybody yesterday. I went through the whole dealership. And I'm kidding you. We were sitting at a lunch. It's so funny because the stuff that I'm saying is like counterintuitive to what the whole conversation was about. If I'm just going to say it all on the air, why do I even have the conversation like I did? But that's me. That's my weirdness. But the conversation was.
Stuff like I don't want anybody. I don't want my P1s. This is a quote that I said to them yesterday. My P1s, I consider them like parts of my family. And I don't ever want anybody coming up to me going, dude, I didn't dig the service there. Please. And Brian is the GM over there. And he's new. And he's like. That's how my mom would sing, you know, like an old spaghetti western theme. She used to do that when she would vacuum. She would hum things. It really does. I think I heard her do that with Jurassic Park. Yeah, yeah, I think she did. It was E.T. It was... That's what it was. That's what it was. That is. That was Jurassic Park. He came in there, this guy Brian, and turned the place upside down. BMW Encinitas. Really? You guys want to hear something really funny? This is a true statement.
Oh, you guys are going to think I'm so weird. We already do. It's okay. Yeah. Too late. Nothing's going to change about that. It needs to be a safe place here. It is. Always is. It must be a safe place. I'll do what I can. He's going to get me. Come on, Mike. You can do it. He's going to get me a sales certificate, and I'm going to sell cars there. What? What? Please don't think I'm really weird. Eddie wasn't expecting that. What? I don't think I heard you right. I know he thinks I'm really weird. And I know he thinks that I'm... I know that he thinks that I'm almost overly enthusiastic. Oh, my God. Like, are you going to have regular shifts that you're going to work? Or... Lunch breaks. Yeah. We'll meet you on your lunch break. Uniform, or what were we talking about? Let me tell you something. The only reason that I'm not going to have that, the only reason I'm not going to have a shift...
is because I know for myself, that's weird. Too weird for me. That's too weird for me. I draw the line there. So what I'll do is I'll have like a weekend day and I'll announce it on the radio only because that makes me feel kind of normal. It'll be like, oh, well, I'm only doing this because it's like a big sales thing that I'm going to have you come down. I'm admitting to you that I want to do it. That you just want to spend all day talking to people about BMWs. And selling them. I bet you'd be great at that. Because I love them. Huh? You get commission? I didn't ask him that. And he was like readily taking it, you know, like, yeah, I'll get you a sales cert. You are so cute. Wow. You are so cute. I love the cars. I said to him yesterday when I got there, I started asking him if he knows what the curve is on the back window of every BMW. And he goes, no. And then one of the guys from the factory came out and he didn't know. And I go, that's the Brofheimer Kink.
It started when Bavarian Motor Works began in the early 30s, but every BMW has one of them. You're going to have to get your business cards redone. This guy's looking at me right now kind of like I'm a giraffe in the studio. Like, I think there's a giraffe in the studio. And I'm concerned about my friend Mike. I think he may be losing his mind. I just love him. I love him. I read about him. I love him. I get car magazines. I get a Beamer magazine. I love them. That's awesome. There's nothing wrong with that. If it makes you happy, we support you. They're just fun to drive. I think they're fun, you know? We get it. That's all. That's all. That's the deal. I think that's really weird. Sean, don't do that, please. That'll really make me feel stranger than I already do. 570-1053 is our phone number. And let's take some calls. P1 Quimby is on the line. Hey, Quimby. Hi, Quim. Quimby? Hello. Oh, all these buttons are impressed. What? Well, Rob's teeth hurt. Rob's having an issue today. He's teething. He's teething. Hey, guys, you know why she couldn't hear me? I didn't hit the line. I got to hit the line in order for her to be able to hear me. I thought I hit it. I thought I hit it, but I didn't hit it. Mikey Show. Yeah. Hi, Quimby. She said, yeah, he might want to hit that button. Hi, Quimby. How are you?
Jeez. That's not about my thing I said, right? You're not acting like that, right? I just saw the greatest episode of television. Oh, that's what she said. Here we go. Here we go. Last night was the season finale of Lost. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I cried. I went through a rollercoaster of emotion. I know exactly when you cried. Can't blame you. Words can't explain. I know. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hey, Quimby. Did you hear the Kate phone call? The Kate phone call? You know where it was in reverse? No. Yeah, when she, you know. When she got the call. When she saw Claire. Yeah, now I remember when she saw her. Yeah, well, she got a phone call right before that, remember? And it was like you couldn't understand it because it was backwards. That's right. Guess what? Oh, that's creepy. Okay, creeped out all over again. Guess what?
What? Well, first of all, were we able to... Do we have that clip of the weirdness of what it sounded like? How weird it sounded? Sean, do you have that? Yeah, I have that. Just the phone call isolated. Okay, let's hear the phone call. This is what everyone heard on TV last night. Can't understand anything, right? What the heck? We had Sean reverse it. No way. Do you want to hear what it says? Yes. Then let's take a break. You are the... Let's do this. Look, let's do it. Come on, we'll take a break, and when we come back, we'll play back Sean reversing it. Quimby, listen on the radio, okay? Okay, I'll see you guys in an hour and a half. All right, bye. Anybody's welcome to come down here. You can all see us in less than that. You can see us in 30 minutes. We're going to be out back doing a cookout in about an hour. We'll be doing it in about an hour, right, Eddie? Yeah, about an hour.
But you should come down here and get your space to, like, get a good seat or whatever. Because we're going to be back and back. It's going to be ridiculous. It's going to be, yeah. It's going to be stupid. So, 570-1053 is our phone number. And our text is 35253. It's Will Smith. I mean, for crying out loud. It is not Fresh Prince. It is not Fresh Prince. It's not Fresh Prince. No. MC Hammer. It's MC. Was it just the Hammer here? Enough out of you. It is. I'll tell you who this is. It's Run DMC. Is it? No, it's not. I'm hurting my feelings. I can get it. I'll get it. Stick to car sales. Fine. Hotline. 053. Over there, something, I don't know his name, something with a lot of Q's, U's, and Z's. I called them Queez-nos. I said, Queezy, what's the big hollabaloo? Which is a dessert over there. What's the big problem?
Why can't we get along? He's like, my friend, you must understand we look at the world differently than you do in the West. I'm like, you're exactly right, Q. We look at the world through a two-eyebrow system, okay? What is up with the monobrow? Can I get a tweezer for Teen Wolf over here? Help him out. Here's my idea for peace. Water parks. It's a hot place, man. I don't know about you, but on a hot day, a water park takes all the mean out of me. Mikey Show. Oh, yes! Hey, check this out. That's why I'm so glad I discovered one day AccuVue moist brand contact lenses. You discovered them, AccuVue discovered them, and I talked you into trying them. We're road warriors. You know, long days, lots of miles, working out at the hotel gym. I'd pretty much given up on my contact lenses because they were so uncomfortable. I was the same way, but running and working out in glasses is an even bigger pain. So after I beat him on a run one day... My glasses fogged up. I said enough is enough. We're going to try one day AccuView Moist brand. What a relief. These new contact lenses feel great even at the end of the day. And they've got Lacryon technology, a major breakthrough that embeds in moisture that stays in the lens throughout the day. Somebody read the box. The best part is that one day AccuView Moist is a daily disposable lens. You just wear them once and throw them away. No cleaning, no mess. Now we have glasses days and contact lens days. Available by prescription only for vision correction. Ask your doctor if one day AccuView moist brain contact lenses are right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop. Talk to your eye doctor about proper wear and care. Ask your doctor for important use and safety information or see AccuView.com.
My sleep train mattress centers. And we're moving right along for a very quiet ride. It's a Friday, and so far we're getting by with a nice Friday morning light commute. Just keep our fingers crossed, and hopefully it'll stay that way. So far, so good. Just the usual slowdown out of Escondido, South 15. A little tight from Auto Parkway. Make that to 78 now. Dauvin on down to Via Rancho in the summer new speeds again through Rancho Bernardo. The coaster ride's not too bad. South 5, a bit of a glitch here from Birmingham Drive down to Manchester. No worries at all. Out of the East County, even the South Bay traffic is looking fine. Just a brief slowdown here on the 805 Northbound, right around Imperial Avenue. And then you're good to go. I'm McLaurin, St. Rock, 105.3. Mikey's show continues with money. I consider myself the perfect Mexican. Wow. Eddie. I love Christmas. Problem admitting when I'm wrong. I'm just rarely wrong. Sean. You know, I'm really terrible at getting gifts. Yes. Boston Rob. Keeping it tight. That's what I'm doing. That sounded hard. And Ashley. I don't get along very well. I don't think with, like, normal, boring people. Oh, come on. Wait a minute. It's the Mikey Show on The Rock. It's a Mikey Show at 639. A wildfire at the northern end of Camp Pendleton has burned about 75 acres as of last night. NBA playoffs last night. Lakers are headed back to the finals. They beat San Antonio in Game 5. Let's see. Boston, Ron.
Tell line three, see if you can get line three's phone number and see if we can call back at 715. Welcome back. It is 640. We already did that, right? Yes. Well, welcome back then. Okay. Let's see. Before we went to break, we played audio from Lost last night where you hear somebody talking backwards. And let's hear that one again. Sean, you got that? Okay. Now, when this happens, On the show. And Kate is taking this phone call. What are you thinking? Do you know who she's talking to or anything about it at all? No clue, really. No clue who it is. She's dead asleep. This is a fast forward, so it's in the future. They're off the island. Right. Kate's phone rings. Chances that you hear that. Right. And you're like, what the heck? Well, we had Sean un-reverse it.
Come on. So we can hear it forwards and see if we can make out what is being said. Go ahead, Sean. Island what? Needs you. Island needs you. You have to go back. Before it's too late. Before it's too late. Please. One more time, Sean. Holy crap. And then what's crazy is after that, she gets up to go check on, you know, Aaron, Claire's boy, Aaron, who she's now raising as her own in the future. She goes to check on Aaron and Claire's in the room. standing over Aaron and says, do not bring him back to the island. And then she wakes up, and that's a dream. She wakes up. And that was a dream? That was a dream. Oh, man. That's crazy! Two hours of good stuff, Mike. Or was it, Mike? Yeah. Well, it definitely wasn't a dream. I mean, someone was obviously sending her a message. Or was it? Eddie, stop. I really wish that I understood. I watched a little bit last night, but I didn't understand. Mike, we found out who was in the coffin. We did, Mike. Who was in the coffin?
Oh, Jeremy Bentham. Yep. Now, when we were sitting on the air talking about all the possibilities of who could be in the coffin, people were throwing out that it could be Michael. People were throwing out that it could be Sawyer. Ben. Did anybody say this? Jeremy Bentham? Yes. Well, Mike. Do you know who Jeremy Bentham is? I do not. I've never heard that name before either, Mike. Do you know anything about chocolate? Nobody did until they showed his face at the very end. And who was he? Oh, Jeremy Bentham is. Lock. What? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Please. Please. Yeah. Lock in the coffin, apparently going by the name Jeremy Bentham. Google it. What is it when you Google it? Oh. Okay, wait, wait, wait. I'm Googling right now. I'm Googling. Jeremy. I think it's B-E-N-T-H-A-M. Jeremy Bentham. How do you spell again? Books by Jeremy Bentham. The correspondence of Jeremy Bentham. The works of Jeremy Bentham. Oh, let's go to Wikipedia on Jeremy Bentham. Yeah. Let's see what it says. Jeremy, oh my gosh. Dude. That just creeped me out just getting there. They're crazy. They're crazy. Jeremy Bentham, born February 15th, 1748 in England. Let's see. This is what it says about him. He was an English jurist, philosopher, and legal social reformer.
He was a political radical and leading theorist in Anglo-American philosophy of law, best known for his advocacy of utilitarianism for the concept of animal rights. Now, listen, we know that the whole island has something to do with that because like polar bear, they had a shark that, you know, they had a, what do you call it on it? The Dharma initiative and his opposition to the idea of natural rights. with his oft-quoted statement that the idea of such rights is nonsense upon stilts. He also influenced the development of welfareism. I don't know what's going on. That's crazy. What a great show. Is that the real person? And I wanted to write it down last night, and now I'm so mad I didn't, but towards the end, because I always fast-forward through the commercials, but I caught up. The fake commercial? The fake commercial for like...
They're hiring for all these jobs, blah, blah, blah. Go to this website. We're hiring for jobs in your area. But then at the very end of the commercial, you notice at the bottom it had like the ABC thing. It said paid for by ABC. It was like ocean something. It was crazy. Flash forward. Walt visits Hurley at the mental institution to tell him he was visited by Jeremy Bentham. Cut 59. You know, when you came back. I was waiting for one of you to come see me, but nobody did. You know who did come see me? Jeremy Bentham. I don't understand why you're all lying. It's the only way to protect everyone that didn't come back. Come back. I like your dad. That's a good show. I'm so irritated at myself for not watching it anymore. It's unreal. And I just found the commercial. It's octagonglobalrecruiting.com. And at the beginning, it says San Diego, California.
Like, I don't know if they made it specific to every market or if it was just, I don't know, Mike. Like maybe Phoenix got one last night when they were watching Lost that said something different? Yeah. It says our national recruitment drive will commence in San Diego, California, July 24th through the 27th. But that's, like, on their website. So, no, maybe it wasn't, you know, maybe everybody saw San Diego. P1 Word Herd. What's up? Hey. Jeremy Bentham was a European philosopher back in the 1700s, and he was a social philosopher, but so was the philosopher John Locke. He was probably a contemporary of Jeremy Bentham. John Locke is well-known for the social contract theory, and he was also a legal and social philosopher of law. Yeah, if you Wikipedia John Locke, Seth just sent me the link for that. There's that relationship with Jeremy Bentham.
Right there, we have John Locke and Jerry Bentham being the same person. It's like the same person from different times. Are you kidding me? Dude, this show is crazy. People should start Wikipedia and characters' names. There's actually a website called lobstopedia.com. Yeah. And if you check out lobstopedia.com, that's got a ton of... Just layers and layers and layers of stuff about the show. It's awesome. Wow. Thank you, bro. Sure, guys. P1 Word Heard. P1 Roach. Hey. What's up? What's going on, Mikey? What's up? That commercial last night for Octagon Global Recruiting. Yeah. The dates that they're going to be in San Diego is also when Comic-Con's going to be in San Diego. Shut up! What?
Messing with us or what? So it probably was across the whole country people saw the same thing. Yeah. That is amazing. I think it's coming back. They're bringing it back to keep us, you know, tethered. I mean... Not like it's hard to keep us tethered until season five, but this game is probably going to be what's holding us on. Remember last year at Comic-Con? Was it last year where they had some, two years ago, and they had some random chicks stand up in the audience and start screaming about how she knew what the Dharma Initiative was, and they basically put on this, like, play in front of everyone at Comic-Con? Yeah. I think this is what this is. It's going to be a continuation of this game. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was, and I freaked out. There it is. Thank you very much. Wow. No problem. Holy crap. So, Eddie, do you know when they will be back for a new season? No, I have no idea. I wonder when that's going to happen. Last night was a two-hour season finale. How did it end? Okay. Oh, yeah. So much. First of all, the island disappeared. Ridiculous. Crazy. Yes, thank you.
You know, during the episode, they showed this Dharma Initiative tape for the Orchid Station where they made a rabbit disappear. Right. So I'm wondering if the island is really there. They just made it. Yeah, like moved in. Moved in the future for like whatever. Yeah, that was. So that was interesting. But it ended with the showing of Locke in the coffin and Ben talking to Jack, you know. telling Jack that they all need to go back to the island. Everybody who got off the island has to go back to the island. Because as soon as they left, everything started to go bad. And they even need to take John Locke's body back with them to the island. That's weird. That is weird. There it is. This was sad news. Harvey Korman died at 81 years old. Loved Harvey Korman. He was funny. He was in Blazing Saddles. You remember Harvey Korman from Blazing Saddles? Cut, too. I've decided to launch an attack that will reduce Rock Ridge to ashes. What do you want me to do, sir? I want you to round up every vicious criminal and gunslinger in the West. Take this down. If you don't laugh at the fart scene, then I don't want to know you. When they're all sitting around eating beans. If that's not your thing, fine. Then we just shouldn't probably talk. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 570-1053. If you want to hang out with us, we're going to be out back in back of the radio station, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, just hanging out there doing a cooking thing. Hey, Mikey, P1 Mach 1 and P1 Loop. We're at work debating about who stayed in line for your iPhone when it first came out. Was it Rob or Zept? Neither of you are right. It was Zeth. Zeth actually stayed out there. It's Zeth and Inept combined. That's right.
Hey, guys, that mineral salt deodorant is double. I've used it for years. It's also available in a spray and liquid form. Works great for foot odor as well. It's true. I tried to use it on my feet, but I couldn't really figure it out. They were too big. You couldn't figure it out. No, that's not what I was thinking at all. Mikey, what's the debt company that B-Rob promotes on the air? If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. That's P1 Cronk. Rob, what is it? If you have a check engine light on your car, it probably means that it's time to go to Amco. Now, here's what a lot of people do. They get that check engine light. And they start calling their mechanic or they start calling the dealership or they start doing whatever. And the problem with that is that a lot of times when you go there, they're either going to try to rip you off or they're going to try to replace something that doesn't need to be replaced. So my suggestion is go to Amco. Their commitment is to try to fix it, not replace it. And it's actually a really cool thing. They don't just do transmissions, by the way.
They do all kinds of stuff. They do brakes. They do oil changes, heating and cooling systems. They honor most warranties. So go in there. Check it out. I love playing poker. I love all these things. Sky. I'm extremely responsible when it comes to money. Sean. Well, you know what? I'm a nonconformist. Boston Rob. You guys know that if I don't write stuff on my hand, I'm an idiot. And Ashley. Evidently, I talk to get attention. Save that one. I will not. You can't make me. On Rock 105.3. What is that, Rob? Better than Ezra. Better than Ezra. Not their hit. There you go. The B-side. Rob likes this one. Never heard of it. This was one of their hits. Was it? Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was. This was my era, dude. Oh, well, excuse me. Never heard of it. I don't recognize it yet. Welcome back. It is 7-0-1. Okay. This is crazy. This guy's got lost news. No. Oh. It's even crazier. Okay. Clay Aiken is going to be a father. What? After his stuff was used to artificially inseminate his best friend. Okay. Think about it. Best friend. Oh, yeah. Let me see. His best friend's a girl.
Yes. And he donated his sperm to her to have a baby? And she is 50 years old. Okay, now that is great. That's fantastic. They live together, but they're like BFs. They're BFFs. And are they going to raise the kid together? They say that he definitely wants to have an active role in raising this child. I'm your dad. But has no, you know, no intimate relationship with the woman. She's just his BFF. Well, it's a woman. Ew. That is the weirdest story ever. I can't wrap my head around that. I can't either. I am not gay. I never have been gay. Gay guys do that. But he's never said he's gay. Come on. He is a gay man.
Well, you can't say he's a gay man. He hasn't said he's a gay man. He is a gay man. Why are you saying he's a gay man? He is a gay man. Fine, you can say it. So there it is. Clay Aiken to be a father. Yeah. There's nothing new really on the crane collapse in New York City. Yeah, the latest is two people killed, four people injured. The crane fell about 20 stories on the Upper East Side of New York. If you're familiar with the area, it was 91st Street and First Avenue. Very sad. Just when the crane fell, a large portion of it took out the side of a condo complex and two people killed, four injured. Upper East Side. Yes. They're lucky more people were not killed than that. Seriously. I mean, really. You always wonder when you're there, how those cranes, you know, stay up there. So I always get real freaked out by that. Well, it makes me wonder what happened. Like, how did this one, what happened that made it mess up? But they're gigantic. Those cranes are humongous. I mean, New York, you have to build up. Yeah. There's no building out. Yeah.
Let's see. Thank you to D Street Bar and Grill, 485 South Coast Highway in Encinitas. They brought in food today, and it looks delicious. Chicken wing. Oh, yeah. Chicken wing. Chicken wing. Girl. And you go in and mention the Mikey Show, and they're going to hook you up with a free appetizer. What? Hold up. Wait a minute. And hope they're prepared. I hope that they are prepared. Guess who's in the studio with us? Come on. Me. The lovely. The lovely, the talented Chantel. Where's the battle of the sexes? I need my battle of the sexes. Oh, that would probably be a good idea. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. And then I'll play it. I'll play it and we will begin. Just get on that right now. The battle of the sexes. Girls and see who's smarter. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls.
I see Ashley get the thing up. Ash, get it up in. Ash, I wish that it was really on my screen. Oh, this is embarrassingly slow. I want to die. Hey, girls. Mike is having trouble burning time. I keep singing. You're doing great. Girls. Girls. Now here's Mikey. Here's how this game works. It's really fun. Guys are called Team Awesome. Girls are called Team Sass. Yeah. What? Bring it. The guys team is Eddie, Boston Rob, and Sean. The girls team is Sky, Chantel, and Ashley. I'm going to tell you, Eddie, it's going to be, you guys are,
A little bit at a disadvantage today. Boston Rob is in an extraordinarily large amount of pain. What's the deal, Rob? What happened with you? I got no idea, dude. Earlier this week, I felt like another tooth growing in, in the way back. Yeah, in the way back. Yeah, what's that called? Wisdom tooth area. Not very wise. That's right. So what's going on? It kind of hurt me, kind of hurt me, but not by any means enough that it was going to put me out of commission. And last night it was kind of bothering me a little more, so I took some Advil PM to help me go to sleep, take care of the pain, all that, and it woke me up at 3 o'clock in the morning like a donkey had kicked me in the jaw. Ouch. And I had to have a root canal once before in high school. I got elbowed playing basketball, and that's the only thing comparable is that pain of, like, throbbing. Have you done anything about it yet? Yeah, I took a couple of Advils, and I drank about half a bottle of Ambasol, which you're not supposed to drink. Oh, dude. Ambasol? Oh, it's the blue stuff that they stick the combs in at the barber shop.
Well, it's like so far back. Oh, that's different. And my gums are so swollen. It's like the second I put it on there. So you didn't go to an ER or anything like that? ER? Oh, you did. What's that? No, for your teeth? No, no, no. I thought maybe you'd go to an emergency room and say, hey, my teeth are hurting. Help me out. Or a dentist. Mike, that costs money. No, no, no. The dentist just opened up at 7 o'clock, so next break I'm going to give them a ring-a-ling-a-ding-dang-dong. All right. Hopefully they can help me out. Get in there. I'm going to plead with that lady. All right. I don't even care. I told Zeth I was about to go into the kitchen and get a knife and cut it out myself this morning. You should try that. No, that's not okay. I felt like I was on Man vs. Wild, and then I went to CVS at like 4 o'clock, and the Ambasol bottle... You don't just open the cap. You have to cut it with scissors. So I'm chewing it off. Can you imagine? I'll let you guys a picture of this guy. Chewing the tip. You don't have scissors? In my car? Chewing the tip off the ambusol. Well, Rob, why not come inside and get some... Go back in and say hey. No, at the CVS. Oh, I see what you're saying. But go back in the CVS. Go to the guy behind the counter. The lady that I had to hunt down.
She was like in the back. I was debating. Maybe they have a pair of scissors. Maybe they have a pair of scissors. Say, hey, do you got any scissors behind the counter there? There was no time for that, Mike. Listen, he had to do man versus wild. So there it is. All right, Rob, we'll listen. During the next break, I'm going to have you call, and we might have to have you go down there and fix it up. Can we videotape that? Yeah, can we video it? I don't care. As long as they take whatever out of my mouth is doing this to me. Yeah. Turns out it's Willie Nelson. He comes popping out of Rob's mouth. Yeah, on the road again. Oh, that's what was hurting so bad. Willie Nelson was stuck underneath my gum line. I just can't wait to be on the road again. Sorry about that. The girl started last time, so Team Awesome starts this time. Well, we made a decree last time that we were flipping a coin. Oh, yeah, yeah. I forgot. Awesome. All right, let's do it. Decree. Coin. Coin. Here we go. None of us have any money. We're doing a coin flip, and we'll see who goes first. What's the D? Last time, Eddie got to call it, so this time the ladies get to call it. Sky, call it in the air. Tails. Tails. And it is heads. Okay. Oh, okay. You just get to go first. We will choose to go second. Eddie's doing that again. Yeah.
Eddie's choosing to go second again, so the ladies... Please don't blow me anything. I'll catch it and throw it back. What's the matter with you? You see how I did that? Fast reaction there. Your heart is full of hate. It's actually full of love, except for you. Okay, that's fine. Start with the girls. Skye, didn't we have... Who started first last time? I did. I think Ash should go first. You think Ashley should go first? Yeah. You guys want to pick who goes first? Yeah. Collectively? Yeah, Ash. Ashley? Sure. You will begin. Okay. Your question is... Will you stop it? She hasn't even gone yet. Thank you. Ashley? Yes. What is the name of the city where Grand Theft Auto takes place? That is a very guy question. That is a very guy question. What woman plays this? You never know. I am going to take a... Oh, dang it. It's either New York or Harlem. I will say this, okay? Man, it's either New York or Harlem. Yes. So she's got to decide which one it is. It's either New York. New York City, I mean, Mike. Or it's Harlem. It's one of the two. New York City or Harlem. Yes. Okay. So which one? Which one? Which city is Grand Theft Auto in? I'm going to say Los Angeles. Okay. That's neither New York.
What? Nor Harlem. I know. Wait, it's not? And it is also, that is incorrect. Ash takes place in a fictitional place called Liberty City. So Liberty City. Don't play. But Harlem was a good guess for sure. For sure. Or New York. Thank you. Or Los Angeles. Yeah, so or Los Angeles. Either one of them, I think, would be good. Okay, I wouldn't have known that either. Eddie, who do you want to start with? Well, you know, we'll, since Riz is hurting, we'll start with him. Let him get his question out of the way. All right. Boston Rob? Yeah. Can you get a multiple choice question? Uh-huh. Yes. That's good. Who played the part of Regina George in Mean Girls? Was it A, Lindsay Lohan? B, Rachel McAdams? Or C, Lacey Shebert. Lacey Shebert, excuse me. Was it A, Lindsay Lohan, B, Rachel McAdams, or C, Lacey Shebert? B and C, I don't think I've ever heard of. I don't know either of those names. I have to go A. That is incorrect, Rob.
Okay. Rachel McAdams, B, actually played Regina George. From The Notebook. The Notebook guy? Never heard of The Notebook. That's a good movie. Wedding Crashers? Maybe you know that one. What notebook? Who was she in Wedding Crashers? Owen Wilson's Love? Yeah. Oh, yeah. I love that. Oh, yeah. My favorite. My favorite. I didn't know she had a real name. So dumb. Good for her. Good for her. No, it doesn't, John, to be honest. All right, Skye. That's the tooth talking. Over to you. Yeah, Mike, yeah. If you do not get this one right, Skye, Eddie will be very upset with you. She's got it. Oh, I don't like that. Come on, Skye. Skye, what actress famously removed her bikini top in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Well, it was Stacey. Stacey. No, it was the brunette chick. And the whole scene around the pool and the... Oh, my gosh. Oh, but I don't... Chantel's got to look like, I'm glad I didn't get this. And why is it even a question? Why? It shouldn't even be a question. Great scene. I mean, why do people watch those things? Maybe the best scene ever. True. Really? Sky is thinking. She's got this. Sky is blinking. Sky is about to make a guess. She's...
Working it out. I don't know the brunette chick's name. Can we go with brunette chick, please? I'm going to say Rachel Hunter. Uh-oh. That is incorrect, Sky. First of all, it wasn't Stacy. It wasn't Stacy. Is the brunette chick's not Stacy? I don't remember what that character's name was. Do you know what her character's name was? A friend is Stacy, then. Stacy is Jennifer Jason Leigh. Oh, okay. And Phoebe Cates was the one that took her top off. Phoebe Cates. Phoebe Cates. Okay. Yeah. She don't know who Phoebe Cates is. She's married to a famous actor. Kevin Kline. Kevin Kline. There you go. Wow. Back to the guys. Shawnee, oh boy. All right, come on. Are you ready? Yes, let's go, Mike. All right, Sean, in cheerleading. Oh, come on. What is the name of the person who is thrown up in the air during stunts? Look at Chantel. That was you, Chantel? Is that the person that, would they throw you up in the air? Yeah. Because you're little. You don't weigh that much. I weigh a lot. Do they always, do they try to pick the girl that doesn't weigh very much? Yes. It's kind of cool. Chantel's like, well, I don't want to brag, but I actually was this person, so anyway. Shawnee, oh boy. What's the name of the person who was thrown up in the air during the stunt? See, we ask the guys questions that typically girls know the answers to. I know. Yeah. And we ask girls,
Questions that typically guys know the answer to. Come on. Come on, Sean. What do they call that? What do they call that person? Oh, well, my. Nah. Oh, no. Whatever. I'm so over this. I think. Yep. You're boring me, Sean. Wow. What's the answer to this, Matt? Oh. Shawnee, come on. You can do it. Give me a guess. I don't know. Is it, I don't know, the spinner? No, it is not. Sean. It's not the spinner. They call that person the flyer. That's right. Chantel was a flyer. Now we go over to the girls. It's Chantel's turn. It's me. Not only does Chantel get a multiple choice, but it is sports related. Here we go, girls. Your bread and butter, Chantel.
Okay. Chantel, if you don't get this question right, Eddie will be very upset with you. He's always upset with me. That's never going to change. That's true. That's a good point. Chantel, what team originally drafted Brett Favre? Was it Eddie? Oh, Eddie's freaking out. Eddie is so upset. If you don't know, it's just... And it's multiple choice. And it's multiple choice. It is multiple choice. Fix your face. Eddie's already irritated. Eddie's already irritated. He's already irritated. He's already irritated. That is genius. Chantel. Are you okay? Chantel, what team originally drafted Brett Favre? Was it A, the Denver Broncos? Was it B, the Atlanta Falcons? Or was it C, the New York Jets? Shoot. Okay, I know it's not. Are you going to be really pissed at me? Shut the front door. He's so excited inside.
Was it A, the Denver Broncos? Was it B, the Atlanta Falcons? Or was it C, the New York Jets? Chantel is wearing a powder blue San Diego Chargers hat. I am. This is a hard one. No, really, because I am really... Both hands up to the bill of the hat. Work it out. That doesn't look good. That means something's not working out there. I just want to remind everyone, Chantel... was a professional cheerleader. For the NFL. For the San Diego Chargers. Yeah, but I really should know this. Okay. So I, Chantel, Chantel, I'm going to say. Yes. That is incorrect. Shut up. Take that hat off. You don't deserve to wear an NFL franchised team upon your head.
It was the team that you are absolutely sure about that it was not them. It was the Atlanta Falcons. Shut up! I would have never guessed that in a million years. I swear. Ever. I don't know any of this. That's great. That was a hard one. Mr. Parcells, I know you don't know any of this, but you should, and Chantel should as well, Coach Parcells, because Chantel was actually employed by the NFL. Not anymore. I would have never said that. You're garbage. Back to Team Awesome. Do I have to be garbage? Wow. Can't be anything but that. When it comes to the rugged, handsomely, good-looking Brett Favre. I don't really like him. Oh, now you're really upset. He's taking off the headphones. Chantel's standing up. Chantel is standing up. She is wearing track pants and she is ready to throw a can of something. I don't like him. Oh, no. Did that hit you deep? Yeah. Team Awesome. I'm sorry. I just don't. Eddie, it's your question. Here we go, Eddie. Eddie, you get a multiple choice. Yes. You get multiple choice. You get multiple choice here. He's not going to be able to concentrate. Eddie, in reference to hair extensions. Oh, Eddie's rolling his eyes. Eddie's like the biggest Brett Favre fan ever, Chantel. So that really, I think, offended him. Eddie, are you a hair extensions fan? He has a man crush on him. You are not a hair extensions fan? I don't know anything about that. Eddie, in reference to hair extensions.
Bone straight extensions are known by what term? Is it A, yucky? Is it B, remy? Or is it C, virgin? I definitely love this question because I know a lot about it. Chantel knows what's up. This one is ridiculous. In reference to hair extensions, bone straight extensions are known by what term, Eddie? Is it A, yucky? B, Remy, or C, Virgin. Eddie is shaking his head. Really? He is, oh. How would I know? How would I know that? How? I mean, somewhere it's got to be in there. Never heard of this. Never heard of it. Don't have any clue. I will school you right after you get this wrong. I'm going to take you to school about Brett Favre. Please. Sorry. Eddie, is it A, B, or C? I have no clue. I'll say A. You are correct. What? Eddie is correct. Eddie is right up in Chantel's face. Chantel pointing back at Eddie, waving that finger. Eddie's giving her the what's up. What's up? Wow. Eddie, I don't know what that move is. I don't know what that move is. It's like a professional wrestling move. Wow. That was weird. Oh, my gosh. I can't believe you just did this. Whatever. I just want to say that thanks to Eddie.
Thanks to Eddie, Team Awesome is in the lead. Yes. 1-0. Whatever. Don't blink at me. When we come back. Don't do anything. When we come back, round two. Done. Stop it. All right. Be Rizzle. Go me. All right. That's right. Go you. And Ashley. I'm a laughy person. The Mikey show's on. Oh, we are messed up in the head. Rock 105.3. Miss Young MC, I didn't even respond to that. Why are you doing that? I asked that just, I was just asking. He's just trying to get under our skin. I wonder if we ignore him, he'll stop. He's trying to wrestle our feathers. Right? It is not Young MC. MC. You know perfectly well who this is. I know who this is. I know who this is. It is... Are you serious right now? I do know! He's trying to upset us by pretending that he doesn't. I know exactly who it is. I'm waiting. Now would be the time to, you know, say it, shout it, yell it, whatever you wish. This is...
Cypress Hill. It's trying to upset the French. It is not Cypress Hill. I can tell by the look on Sky's face right now that it is not Cypress Hill. It is 731. Photos are all over the place today of a tribe in the Amazon that has never had any contact with outsiders. Serena Williams has bounced from the French Open in the third round. This is Ice-T. Shut up, Mike. Now you're just really... You're really upsetting me now. Ice Cube. Sir Mix-A-Lot. Is it Sir Mix-A-Lot? Yes, it is. Sir Mix-A-Lot. See, that's sarcasm this guy's giving me, which tells me it's not Sir Mix-A-Lot. It's Public Enemy. This is Public Enemy. This is Public Enemy. This is Public Enemy. Ladies and gentlemen, Public Enemy. Getting jiggy with it. Welcome back to the show.
We are about to get back to the battle of the sexes. That we are. In fact, we now will go to Team Sass. Well, we started with Ash, and we will start with Ash again. Yes. Yep. Oh, wow. Ash, you look a little nervous. Well. I think you're going to do all right, kid. We're not doing very good. Well. Aw. Are you ready? Yeah. Where did Tiger Woods go to college? Woo! Sky just gave a look like, well, who would, like, his own mother doesn't know that. He's only the biggest athlete in the entire world. Who would know that about him? Who cares where he went to college? We know he has a great little strokey stroke, whatever. What? We know he's a Camplin Asian. Look at me. Look at me. G2 or Gatorade or whatever. He's married a white chick, has a little baby. Hello, yes. Tiger Woods. And some car. Lincoln, maybe? Go. Yeah, I know that. To college. Just, um.
Stanford. You are correct. She is the best person on the planet today. I'm so proud of you, Ashley. I am so proud of you. I don't know. It was in my head. I am so proud of you. I don't know. You're the smartest woman in the world. I'll tell you how she knew. That was great. Maybe she went there. Yes, she did. We don't know. You mean she drove past it. We now go back over to Team Awesome. Ashley tied the game. Ashley tied the game. I'm really. Ashley tied the game. If these two Nimrods would have got that question, there's no chance they would have known. Team Awesome. Well, I don't think we're Nimrods. Yeah, thank you. But you are correct. Oh, okay. Either way. We wouldn't have known it. Boston Rob? Yeah. Question is to you. Okay. Are you ready? Yeah. Come on, dude. Your question is. What's Christina Aguilera's son's first name? Oh, come on. That's easy. If you read People, you'd know. You know this. Stop acting. I've never heard this. I don't even know this. It may ring a bell when you guys hear it. We may have mentioned it before. Oh, we've definitely mentioned it before. Never heard of it. Oh, man. Vincent. Vincent. That is incorrect, Rob, but a great guess. Out of all the names.
His name's Max. Max. Max. I think he had two X's at the end, right? Never heard of it. Max Factor. But I knew that. Yep. Are you ready, Team Sass? Yeah. Are we tied up? We are tied up. Thanks to you. Thanks to you. You little genius. You're welcome. Thank you, I know. Okay. You get a multiple choice question. All right, here we go. Skye, here we go. Please. Your multiple choice question is, what number did Magic Johnson wear? Was it... Oh. I don't know. It's multiple choice. It's multiple choice. Okay, let me hear my choices. Let me hear my choices. Chantel better not make any body movements. You better freeze. She wants to die. She has got her chair turned around. She's got her hands up to her head. She can't even look at me right now. Like Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone. She's upset. Okay, let's hear my choices. Wow. I have a number in my head, and if it's not one of my choices, then I'm into trouble. What number did Magic Johnson wear? Okay. Was it A? 32, B, 23, C, 15. Uh-oh. Well, see, the number in my head was 32, but then when you threw out the 23, I am kind of dyslexic sometimes. I think I know this. Was it A, 32, B, 23, or C, 15? Oh, Skye is questioning.
She's got her hands up to her face. Chantel is freaking out, banging her head against the wall. Ashley shaking her head, no, this can't be. Sky. I think I'm just going to have to go with my gut on this because I'm going to go A32. That is correct. Three almost got me. Ashley's dancing. Ashley's up and dancing. Sean, please. Sean. Chantel looks so happy right now. The ladies are in the lead. Don't get nervous, Sean. You're fine. Shawnee, oh boy. You're fine, bro. Shawnee, oh boy. Let's try. You're good, Sean. You're good. You got it. See, now this next one is tough. Sean may wear this brand, so I don't know. Oh, no. Well, he has worn other brands in the past, so.
Sean. Oh, the wedding dress. Oh, the shoes. Sean, your question is. I guess all the fashion ones, right? It's true. Sean, what is the one word brand owned by Victoria's Secret that consists of loungewear, sleepwear, and intimate apparel geared toward university and high school students? So easy. So easy. This is a ridiculous question. Yeah, thank you. I must say. For the record. Yes. Ridiculous. Don't play this game, Sean. Please don't. Not today. It's seriously the most frustrating thing when he does it. I can't describe what Sean is doing. We don't have a camera working today, so I can't see him. I will only imagine that he's frustrated. It's a waste of everybody's time. He knows it already. I don't even understand why. He just doesn't shout it out. I don't know the... Okay. He does his tutorial sometimes, you know, and then he just says it. Today, we know you know it.
Excuse me. Can I please have a moment? May he please? You know, Sean, I love how they take like 50 minutes to answer their questions. You take 10 seconds to think about it and you get railed. Because we know he knows it. That's the only way it's this. May I please have a question? Oh, my God. Sean sounds so beat up by the ladies. He sounds so beat up by Team Sass. You're killing me. He's berated by Team Sass. Yeah. Don't cheat. He doesn't cheat. Cheat? Wow. What about? Sean, what is the one word brand owned by Victoria's Secret that consists of loungewear, sleepwear, and intimate apparel geared toward university and high school students? Right now, Sean is pretending to not know. Sean. He doesn't. No, no. He's searching his brain. Then he will humiliatingly announce the correct answer and humiliate the girls. Excuse me. Of the last two or three questions.
Have I not gotten them right? They have not been right. That is correct, Sean. Okay. But a lot of times... That's not what we're saying, Sean. We're just saying you know the answer, bro. Just say it. Yeah, please. Don't waste our time being like, I don't know. Just say you don't know it. Give us an answer, Sean. Yeah, right. If you don't know, then say you don't know. Is that your final answer? Good. Let's move on. Get it? Good. I don't know. Is it pink? That is so stupid. I hate you. There's so many reasons on so many levels, Sean. You're the worst. Sean should not be able to play this game. He does that. He does that. That took way too long. Oh, my goodness. He does it. Google is amazing. Google isn't amazing. He's cheating. Oh, my goodness. Stanford. Oh, come on. Really? Really. You guys, the score is tied. Thank you. The score is tied. Why come every time I get an answer right, I'm cheating? Well, Hakushan's cheating. Because we can't see him. Because we can't see him and it takes him 10 years to get an answer. Sky, listen.
I believe that Sean did not Google it. I believe he knew it the whole time. I agree to that. I agree to that. I'll agree to that because I don't think Sean's a cheater either. Here we go. He's just really, really metro. Okay. You're a jerk. I'm not. Now, it is tied. And if the girls get this one right, it still goes to the last question of the guys. If they get it wrong. Stop. It goes to the last question of the guys. This is when it's the best. I love it. No pressure. Me versus you. Oh, no. Chantel. Really tough. Put your tongue in your mouth. Chantel, the question is to you. Leave me alone. Chantel. Yes. It's a sports-related question. Oh, come on. Chantel. Chantel, not only is it sports-related, it's NFL. Please. She missed the last NFL one. Oh, no. Everyone knows. Thanks. Right. Chantel is gripping the bill of her powder blue Chargers cap. Chantel, here's your question. What NFL field carries the nickname the Frozen Tundra? Oh, Skye knows the answer. Skye, the girl who has not probably ever walked on that field. Mike? Well, I mean, she's careful. Okay. No helping.
Chantal really is going to get this one. Just think about it, girl. I can't say just think about it. I just don't want there to be any shenanigans. I won't. We use logical thinking here. We think about things. I'm just thinking about cold, and I'm thinking about, you know, it's cold in Green Bay. Sky, sky, sky. What? I'm encouraging her to think about it. I understand. I have to know the name of the field. You have to know the name of the field. What NFL field. Carries the nickname, the frozen tundra. I know. This guy's trying to will it to her. I think Ashley knows as well. I do not. You do not. I have a guess. You've probably been there. Leave her alone. You know if I've been there, we didn't travel. We don't understand. That's right. You did not travel with the team. No. When she was a dancer, when she was a charger girl. They didn't travel with the team. I'm looking at a girl right now wearing an NFL cap. Why? Everyone leave her alone. Why do you do that? Because you have to describe for listeners. Well, you described it plenty of times on the Brett Barb question. That's all. I'm just trying to paint a picture. You described it plenty of times when we talk about Brett Barb. They know what I look like. I can't believe you're taking this long. Oh, yeah. You know the answer. What are you doing? Chantel is shooting Eddie a look right now. You know what? At least she is shooting Eddie a look.
She's working it out. She's talking it out. Not like Sean. Yeah. It's a difference. Chantel. Yes. NFL field that carries the nickname the frozen tundra. Please. Chantel has her index finger up to her nose. Shaking her head. This is going to haunt you. Not in her nose. On her nose. Take a guess. We need an answer, Chantel. I don't know. It's cold in a couple of different places. I don't. I want to say it's like Green Bay Field, but I don't know. I don't know the name of the field. That is incorrect, Chantel. I don't know the name of the field. It is the field in Green Bay, and you do know the name of it. And when I say it, you're going to be upset. You're going to be upset. The most famous football field. Lambeau Field. Oh, you saw it on her face right now. She knew. The most famous football field in the NFL. The Frozen Tundra.
Of Lambeau Field. Oh, you can see it. Sky is going to talk so much crap about you. Look at her. Sky's waving her head. Yes, I am. Sky's waving her head. Yes, I am. Now, wait a second. Hold on. Wait a minute. Now, let me tell you something. If Eddie gets this question wrong, we go to sudden elimination. Okay. I pray that he guesses right. Because right now, it's tied two to two. But Eddie could win it with a correct answer. I like the pressure, Mike. I live for it. Eddie. Yo. Okay. Who is the current face of Rommel Cosmetics? I don't even know what that is. Son of a... Oh, no. Who is the current face? Who is the current face? Yeah, do I get multiple choice? No. What? Who is the current face of Rimmel Cosmetics? That's a real thing? That is a real thing. I have never heard of this cosmetic company. I think it's a fake one. Sky, what are you thinking? What are you thinking? Oh, I think he has no clue. Okay. Yeah, there's no way he's going to get this. All right. That's what I'm thinking.
I will take a guess and say Scarlett Johansson. That is incorrect, Eddie. That is incorrect. It is not Scarlett Johansson. It's a good guess. It's Kate Moss. Yes. What? She is the current face of Rommel Cosmetics. Kate Moss? That means. For the cocaine? No. That means that we now go. We now go to sudden death. Can I speak to my team real quick? Yes, you can. Girls, I'm not saying anything unless you are 100% sure that you know the question and the answer. And wait for the question to be finished. Chantel, we got this, Mama. Now, I'm going to explain to everybody how sudden elimination works. I am going to read a question. You can interrupt me at any time, and the way that you buzz in is by saying your name. Okay. Just remember, though, if you buzz in, and I go to you, and you get it wrong, the point goes to the other team, and they win. So, the question is... In which hand is the Statue of Liberty's torch? Sky. Sky. The right hand. You are correct.

Dear Tom, I took my girlfriend Heather to Shane Company to look at engagement rings.
I was very nervous. It's such a huge investment. But your saleswoman calmed me down and found the perfect ring style Heather wanted. I whispered to the saleswoman my price range for the diamond, and she showed us several. Heather picked one out, and your saleswoman placed the diamond into the setting, and Heather slipped it on. She was absolutely glowing. Seeing her joy, my eyes got misty, and even your saleswoman became teary-eyed. It was a moment Heather and I will never forget. And your saleswoman is the sole reason I made the purchase at Shane Company that day. Sincerely, Steve Shantz. I'm Tom Shane, and thanks for writing, Steve. To do that. In the living room. And I put my little brown hands back there. My little Mexican. Touching that kind of stuff. My dainty little soft little feminine hands. You don't belong back there. There's no fruit back there. Strawberries. What am I picking around back there? I thought there were. Is there any lettuce back there? No, nothing. No lettuce, no cabbage, no strawberries. There was some cauliflower. There was a cauliflower back there. It was so strange. Sold at the market. It was great. Mikey. Mikey. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It is 8.01. Bill Murray's wife of 11 years has filed for divorce, claiming abuse. Hey! Audrey, it's one last time. It hit a whole drop. Very good. Hi! He just came back to the dead. John Garrett goes deep. That's fantastic. That's crazy. You don't need to talk like that. Wow. That guy's eating a torpedo sandwich. That looks delicious. Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, we are live outside of the radio station right now. Oh, my gosh. And we got a bunch of P1s out here, so make no P1s.
Love it. Anybody can come by. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive is our address. And we'd love to see you out here. Basically what we're doing, we all have headsets on. This is so weird. Except for Rob, who had to go to an emergency dentist. Oh, I feel so bad for him. He's got, you know, compacted wisdom tooth. We don't know. What did I say? Compacted. He's got a compactor in his mouth. Trash compactor. Well, that's true as well. That is true. So we'll keep you updated on both the crane that fell in New York and the status of Rob's compacted tooth. Both disasters. Yes, both disasters. Huge disasters. So we are out back of the radio station, and we have a full workstation set up. This is unbelievable. Top chef, here we go. That's right. Don't play. This is really cool. Talk about a really cool business. We have a business with us right now. They're called Two Chefs, and it's a couple of guys. Chef Chris Bennett and Chef Jeremiah Bryant. And let's have a big round of applause for these two guys. And let's see. Are you Chris? I am. Chris, let's get that mic turned up a little bit. Chris, first of all, how old are you, man? 33. 33 years old. And how did you meet Jeremiah? Well, both of us were cooking at the same restaurant up in San Marcos.
Well, he left before I did. I'm still kind of cooking there. And doing this is pretty much my main passion outlet. Right. So we started up this business. We did a party together. And then from there, it was just like, hey, you guys are pretty good at this. And then now we're getting really good at it and doing these parties. Everybody has a lot of fun. Nice. And let's see. Jeremiah, you guys met at the restaurant, started talking about your mutual love of food. And you said, hey, let's start this business up. Yeah, we kind of just got together one night and did a party. He just asked me for some help, and the party ended up going so well, especially after we did karaoke. Nice. It's always a bonus. When we sang Ride Like the Wind, and then everything came together. Explain to people listening, because I think there's going to be a lot of people that are listening right now that go, yeah, that sounds like something I would want to do, and definitely something that could be a lot of fun. Explain to listeners and everybody here exactly what your business is and what you guys do. What we do is we cater to the person. Whatever you want, we'll provide. The fact that it's just the two of us, we're able to either do a sit-down dinner, multiple courses. We can do catering for 150 people, or we'll do a cooking class. But the way that we do it is we cook clean, we cook sustainable. We try and use a lot of organic product. What is this sustainable? What is that? In terms of cooking. Locally grown. Oh, love it. Locally grown. Go green. The closer, the better. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And Chino Farms, you guys do the Chino Farms. Where do you guys get your food from?
We get a lot of food from farmer's markets. Oh, Henry's. Especially for the cooking classes, we go to regular stores. Right. As a normal person might go there. Sprouts, Henry's, things like that. Right. So when we show up and we show them how to do things, it's not out of the ordinary what we're doing. There you go. I love it, man. But the cool thing is, imagine you're going to have a bunch of friends over to the house. You call these guys up. You have two chefs come by. and they will do like a cooking class if that's what you want for you and your friends. That is so awesome. That's so fun. You guys are drinking beers and having wine and cooking and having a good time, and it sounds like a good time. And you learn how to cook, too. And then you sit down and eat all the food. That's right. Yeah, it's awesome. And just like you said, it's like you have two chefs coming over, and that's kind of how we, I mean, we're super clever with our name, huh? Yeah. How'd you come up with that one? It does actually define us. You know, we are actually two chefs that go up here, so a lot of places you'll go and you'll get, you know, kind of two cooks that'll go over, you know, and they're just there to do their job. Exactly. And I mean, we really take a lot of passion and pride in what we do. So you get a lot of the personality that comes through in the food. And then when you're at the event, you know, people can come up and talk to us and we interact. And it's those kind of interactions that we really, you know, enjoy at our parties. I'll tell you what I think is cool. These are normal guys. Jeremiah's got tattoos like I do. And so immediately I was like, oh, this guy's all right. This guy's all right. And so, OK, so what we're going to do is we got this.
We have this big cooking station set up right now. I'm so nervous. I don't like this. I do not like this. Skye was out right away. Skye doesn't cook. I am not the cook in my house. Not at all. But even though she's not the cook in her house. Unlike me, I am. Today, Skye is going to use her creativity. She's going to come up with something delicious. We know that. I don't know about that. You just got to keep telling yourself that. You're going to blossom as a chef today. That's right. You're going to blossom. I don't want to blossom. You're going to blossom. I want to stay in my living. You're a delicate flower. Shut up. Or 11 or whatever it was. Whatever age it was. Hey. Ashley says that she can cook good. Yeah, I think I'm going to do real well today. I've already got some ideas with the ingredients. A couple food combos you think are going to work out? Most stuff, yeah. So here's what we have. We have these four nonstick pans sitting on a grill right now. And the four of us are going to cook.
Now, what we have over on the table over there is what looks like the show Top Chef. You have all of these ingredients and you got these little pieces of tape across them all saying what the ingredients are. You got fennel, artichoke, ginger, roasted bell pepper. You got caramelized shallot. You got red lentil, orange, lemon zest, basil, asparagus. You got everything in there. I mean, just a whole plethora of stuff. And what we're going to do is we're going to take a look at what we've got. And we're going to put something together. This is tricky. And then we're going to have the two chefs try it out and tell us what they think. That's easy. Oh, I'm so sorry. Now, I got to ask you, do you guys have, I see a lot of the vegetables and all that stuff. Do you guys have any raw ingredients? Yeah, we brought fish for you guys to do because, I mean, it's a good. Oh, my God. Oh, perfect. Perfect. It's actually perfect. Oh, no, I hate fish. I hate fish. I hate fish. Whoa. I don't really like it either. Well, you haven't had the proper fish. Yeah, exactly. You haven't had it prepared by you, Sky. Like, I mean, I don't even have, like, maybe if it was like a chicken breast, I would kind of know where to start. But with fish, I don't even know where to start. Yeah, but that's the beauty of it. I don't even know where to follow my lead. The beauty of it, Sky, check it out. The whole reason that you have not liked fish up till now is because you didn't have it your way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now you get to do it your way. I thought I just didn't like fish. No. Sky, just follow my lead. I got this.
I'm going to show you how to cook it so it comes out the way you like it. You're going to love it after this. How about I just watch you do it? We're going to give you a little intro and then we're going to let you guys loose. Now check it out. Two chefs are here right now and they've got... They've got spray bottles, and they've got, like, oil in spray bottles. What's up with that? We use the spray bottles because it lightens your hand with the usage of fat, whether you're using olive oil or grapeseed oil or avocado oil. Genius. Instead of pouring it out of a bottle and dumping a bunch into a pan, you can take a spray bottle and throw a couple squirts of oil in there and use, you know, half the amount of oil that you would normally use. You're smart. You really are. Go green. Now, he just threw a piece of, Chris just threw a piece of fish into this nonstick pan that he had just sprayed some oil in. What kind of oil was it?
Well, we use grapeseed oil with that one. And grapeseed oil is good because, I mean, it's similar to canola oil as far as it's a flavorless oil. Great for searing. Skye knew that, right? Yeah. It's pretty basic stuff here. Skye is looking at that fish right now like it's a rattlesnake and it's going to jump out. It may. It may, Mike. It may. She's upset. It's okay. And let me ask you this. What is that fish coated with? What we put on there is just polenta. You know, polenta is a ground cornmeal. And what that can do is just adds a little bit of a crust to it. little bit of a crunch out of your fish because everybody kind of likes like a more fried fish than whatever if you have fish tacos and whatnot. I just learned about bread and things last night. It really makes a difference. This is so appropriate then. Very timely. So she saw a shake and bake commercial. Well, I actually just saw the shake and bake box in the aisle and I'm like, and I got it. They're chefs. They've actually been to school. This is pathetic. Now, I noticed that it's been sitting in there in the pan for a couple of minutes now. How long do you let it sit there? Well, you're going to go probably three minutes on one side, and as you put it in there, what you're watching for is sort of that, you see how it's starting to get white around the edges? Skye's so grossed out right now. I like the smoke. I'll be over here. She just hates fish. That's the problem. Maybe hers will be a vegetarian. It's a big deal. Yeah, vegetarian air. Skye wishes right now that she had a snorkel and a mask. She is running away. So about three minutes on each side, and then you flip it over, and then you're done. That's it. Yeah, what you can do is set that to the side. It's nice that we have these larger pans, because then we can go in and we can have all the other ingredients.
in there. You can use the same pan that's going to carry through. The non-stick is great because you can just wipe it right out. Got it. And you can put down the oil in your unit. There you go. Ashley is eyeing the ingredients right now. She's got a big smile on her face. You can tell that her mind is just thinking of what she's going to use. It's a little overwhelming. She's getting the game plan going. Ashley's trying to figure out what it is she's going to make. I'm ready, man. What are you going to have us do? What are we going to do? What we'd like for you guys to do is, now that we've kind of shown you how to sear the fish, we also have crushed almonds over here. We have herbs. So you can crush the fish with whatever you like. And then we also have, like you said, we have fennels, artichoke, we have caramelized shallots and spinach, lentils and potatoes. We want you guys to create... a vegetable mixer to go with the fish, and then we'll all taste it and see how it tastes. And Skye, obviously, will do a vegetarian dish. Do you have gloves? I'm ready now. I'm just asking. Maybe they do. Can you knock it off? Can you knock it off?
Mike, did any of you guys happen to bring a hazmat suit with you? Oh, that would be lovely. Are you kidding me? What's going to happen to you? We have biohazard here. Have you ever heard of cancer, bro? What? What do you want for a kiss to come out of my eyes? Skye is sort of wishing that she were dressed like the MTV astronaut right now. That's ridiculous. Okay, so can we get started? Yeah, let's start. What? Okay, wait a minute. Now, Chris is putting a bunch of stuff in a pan. I know one of those pans is going to be one of ours. Oh, I'll sit out this one, guys. Oh, Skye, come on now. We have one of these over here, too. No, I'll be good over here. Okay, so this is going to be his. I got it. That's going to be his. Do you have any wet ingredients? Do you have any creams or anything like that? Look at this guy. Look at this guy. We got to know what we're working with. Look at this guy. No, no, no. We got to know what we're working with. I don't know what we're working with. I'm ready. I'm ready to go. I don't know what we have. What do we have? I don't have questions. I got answers. I don't know any of this. We don't have any butter. Okay, fish? creamer butter, so we're going to use the fish. We're going to use the natural vegetables, and some of the vegetables we prepared ahead of time. I love it. We cooked the artichokes, we part-cooked the potatoes. It's like Top Chef, man. This is what you have to work with. Right, right, right. And then what do we have in terms of oils? We have grapeseed oil, and what else? We also have olive oil. Got it, got it, got it. All right, Skye, let's get to work. Are you guys ready to see this? Yeah.
Do you like this one, Mike? Which one? Yeah, sure. And where's utensils? Where's utensils? I guess they're all spread out all over the place. All right, I'm ready. All right, and this is some pico de gallo that we can use if we'd like. And we have our fish. I don't want it. And, Skye, that means you've got to touch the fish and you've got to get your hands in the fish. Oh, there's gloves. There's some gloves right here just for you. That's right. That's right. So, Skye is... putting on the food handler gloves, the same ones that Sean wears at Personal Appearance. Does anybody have a paintbrush? A paintbrush? Yeah. Okay, Ashley is spraying the fish directly with the oil. Do you have a paintbrush? I don't. Okay. Ashley was spraying the fish directly with the oil. Mike, why does she want a paintbrush? I don't know. I'm not sure. I can't work like this. I'm not sure. I need a paintbrush. My gloves are on. I think I'm done. Ashley is smearing stuff onto the fish with her hands. She's now putting some salt. Okay. She's putting some salt into her hands. She's sprinkling. And Skye and I are waiting our turns to be able to get in and start working with the fish. I'll go after you. What kind of fish are we talking today, guys? We're using a fresh snapper. Fresh snapper. Sounds great. And Ashley is now putting a little bit of pepper on there. Now, if we have you guys come to our house, can we say, hey, we don't like fish.
Absolutely. No, you're not allowed. We'll make chicken for you. Okay, you're my friend. All right, so Ashley's now got her fish salt and peppered, and she is now dipping it into almonds. Almonds? She's now dipping it into almonds. Why do you say it like that? Well, you know, like the almond brothers. Well said. It's the almond brothers. There she goes. Hold up, wait a minute. Now she's dipping it in polenta, so she's going to have an almond. Dude, I've got it rocking already. All right. Sky, you want me to go next? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll wait my turn. What am I going to do here? I'm in no rush, Mike. Let's see. And we got a hot sauce over here, a little bit of lime. Hot sauce? What are you talking about, silly pants? Booyah. We made a fresh roasted salsa. Is this quinoa over here? Yes, it is. Show off. What is he talking about? Seriously, Mike. What is this guy? Mike, what's going on? I was wondering where it was. That's all. That's all. I was just wondering where it was. What's quinoa? Great. Okay, you're real smart. Konnichiwa to you, Mike. All right, well. Quinoa is an ancient grain. Quinoa. Yeah. It's an ancient grain. Yeah, it's a grain of the ancient. Indigenous to South America. Now, we got some iodized salt here. We got some iodized salt. How do you guys like your snapper? Snappy. What kind of fish am I cooking? I don't even know. Snapper? Heck, I hardly even knew her, Eddie. I don't think that works there, man. Try that one again. Which one is this fish? I don't even know. Do you guys have any kosher salt? Snapper? No. Okay. No, don't touch it, bro. It's my magic. But what are you doing? You have two pieces together. You realize that, don't you? Dude, you just messed up my magic. Put it back on. Hey.
I'm going to switch here. I'm going to switch. Sky wants that one. I don't want anything, Mike. Skye, it's okay. I want to go home. I want to go home. This fish is going to be so delicious. All right, Skye. Here, Mike, step over my wire. What are you doing? Well, I messed up, Eddie, okay? Well, I'm still working over here, Skye. Mike, will you look at this debacle that she's got going on? I messed up. I didn't know I had two pieces of fish. Oh, my gosh. It's all cold and slimy. Let's see. As opposed to hot fish. Skye is grossed out. I'm not having this right now. Let's see. I'm looking over the different and various ingredients. I like you, Mike. Trying to decide what I want to use here. Mike. Yes, Eddie. Can you please do something about Ashley? What is she up to? She's having fun. This is magic. Oh, gosh. I'm making magic. Bam. It looks fantastic. What are you talking about? That looks fantastic to you? It looks lovely.
Can you stop doing that? What? You're cooking with that. I know. You clown. I can't wait to see what she's got. All right, my fish is in the pan. This is a mess. I'm going to put a little salsa on my fish. Salsa? Okay, Skye, she's putting salsa directly onto her fish. Who knows? Who knows? Who knows? Hey, don't judge. You never know. You just wait. You guys don't know what's going on here. I like it. I think it's a good idea. Thank you. See? The two guys like me. You're saying that, and you're a trained chef. I mean. Please, make her stop. They get me. They get me. Okay, this is some salsa on some raw fish, Mike. Where are we going to go next, bro? That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life, Skye. But salsa makes everything better. I'm not really sure what's up with that. Some little salt. It's kind of hard to work with these latex gloves on. Skye? Take them off. She is now rubbing her hands together like a genie. No, that's like Mr. Miyagi style, bro. Is that what's going on? You don't even know. I got this. Eddie's is looking strong. Yeah. Eddie's is looking strong. What about me? I got a whole side thing working. Actually, yours is beautiful, too. Very good job. Salt and pepper's here. Salt, salt, salt.
Salt, salt, salt, and pepasia. Okay, Skye, I don't know what you're up to. I don't know what you're up to. Salt and pepasia. Let's see. And we're in effect. I am trying to decide on some ingredients here. What are you doing? I don't really know which way to go. Mike! You're on the right track. Will you look at this abortion she has? Hey, Eddie. Too far. Too far, Eddie. Too far, bro. What is she doing? What are you doing? She's matching it. She's now. Oh, this is horrendous. I'm going to use some of this lime. You're causing a fire over here. There's a fire. Will you let me make my magic already and back off, bro? Dude, I think mine's going to actually be pretty sweet. Sky. Squeezing a little lime on mine. What up? What are you doing? I'm making my bed. You're just throwing everything in there. No, I'm not. Hello. There's an art to this. And then I just want to put some almonds. Let's see. I don't know what these are, but they make it look pretty. What do you got working over there, Mike? Let's put a little ginger on here, too. You know, I'm very simple right now, Eddie. I'm keeping it real simple. Let's see what I got. I'm keeping it real, Mike. Flip it over one more time and flip this one over one more time. No chance that's done.
You're done. I bet this is going to be the best one out of everybody's. Sky working on her salsa fish. What? That's so gross. My eyes are watering. Salsa ginger almond fish. What are you doing? This is going to be rad. Sky. What's up, bro? The artichokes will be great in yours, Mike. They're starving people in Africa. My eyes are watering. Okay, where do I go, friends? Okay, watch my cord. I'm coming behind you. Ashley, my little love bug. You're all the way to the end. Hopefully you guys are seeing how it's nice to have all these ingredients set for you, ready to go. You can just go right into the pan with it, and that's something that we can kind of do as also a setup, is we can come over and if you want to host a party yourself and be like, oh, I'm an amazing cook, and you don't need us there. We can come in and set it up. All these things will be done for you. Do all the prep work. Yeah, exactly. All the prep work can be done. I pull that with the major market twice-baked potatoes. I pretend like I make those, but you just get them out of the deletion. They would be thrice-baked. And then you just put them in the oven. Is this that you think? Sky can you have me a plate? Sure. Not quite yet. Okay. With your disgusting fingers, too. The fish is ready to come out of your pan. Okay. What's up, bro? God.
Mike, can I have that towel for a second? Yeah, yeah. How do I make this more moist? How do I make it more moist? With this one here, add a little bit more of olive oil to it. That's this one here. Look at T-Rex. I'm doing good, huh? And then also lemon juice. Papa's. Where's lemon juice? Oh, lemons. You'll just use a fresh squeezed lemon. Okay. What do we got? Eddie, you could use some vegetables in your pan. Your fish is looking great. I'm going to take the fish out and then do my veggie. Mike, what are you doing? You're very quiet. I'm enjoying myself is what I'm doing. By the way, Mikey's pan smells fantastic. You've got garlic in there. A lot of the Charlotte is going on already. Me too. Garlic as well. Nobody touch my fish. I'm touching it. Solid combination with the potatoes. Nice browning. What happened to the garlic? I just thought I'd put some on for fun. Everybody wins, but... I'm a winner. Let's see. Hey, one of the two guys. How's my fish looking? Do I need to listen? Oh, it's looking great. I'm proud of you for overcoming your fears with this. I know. I'm doing awesome. I really am. I'm like the best right now. Do I flip it or do I leave it?
Well, let's leave it go for a little bit, and as that brown's on the bottom, we'll flip it over so those almonds don't burn. Okay, yeah, watch my back, bro. I will, I will. Sky, that looks pretty. Thank you. Yours is good. Go ahead and just let it sit in the pan. Okay. What else do I want to put in there, friends? But, like, should I add anything else? You know what I'm saying? Some fresh spinach and basil in there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, dude, for sure. Oh, yeah, yeah. Do I need to chop this up first? Just tear it with your hands. What? Everybody just heard a private conversation with Rob that I was just having. Rob is going to get his tea. Jeremiah, can you pass me a lemon? Is he okay? Yeah, man, garlic. Yeah. Yeah, Rob's good. He's going to get his teeth done. Is he going to come back all doped up? Because that'd be funny. Oh, that'd be rad. How funny would that be? Bring us some drugs, bro. Wow, that was really unusual, Skye. Inappropriate. Very unusual. I'm just saying. If there's like a two-for-one sale at the pharmacy or something. That was great how you said it and everything was awesome. Well, you never know. Basil and spinach? You never know. I think Skye just said, bring us some drugs, bro. Bring us some back, bro. Ashley, yours is ready. What? Final touches.
30 seconds. Thank you. This, if anything, has been a lot of fun. And if we could do this when you guys come over to the house, that'd be awesome, man. Fantastic. Cooking some potatoes. Just getting to enjoy it. Jeremiah. Uh-oh. This is looking dangerous. Now, I'm starting to wonder if mine... How's my fish? Should I flip it? It's looking a little crispy crittered. I can't wait for somebody to try Skye's fish. Mike, you don't even know. I don't know, Skye. You may actually... You don't even know what I got working here. You may be really good at that. This may be the best dish ever made. They may love it. That's my fish right there. Yeah, mine is salsa, lime, ginger, almond. Ashley's got a medley of veggies going on over there. Guys... I don't know fish, so I don't know. Is this done? Is this kind of done? Oh, let me tell you, Mike. Sky knows. Sky is a fish expert. Let's just touch it real quick. That's perfect. Okay, cool. Even if it's just a little bit underdone, by the time you let it sit on the plate, I'm plating. Stick a fork into it, it'll be perfect. Yeah, where do we plate this? Where should we plate this? Right here? Sky is nowhere near plating. Cool. I mean, I think plating is a nice idea. Sky is going for it.
Like, are these different colored potatoes, or is that zucchini? I like black. Really, Mike? If we're talking color. Mike. Come on, dude. We have friends here. Do you have any Wesley Snipes potatoes? Shut up, man. Trying to concentrate. Okay, if you don't have that, what about Ving Rhames potatoes? Do you have any of that? You don't even know, guy. You don't even know. I want something else in there, Eddie. What else should I throw in there? Ooh. Mikey's is looking fantastic. He's got beautiful fingerling potatoes in there. Fingerling. Nice piece of snapper. Let's see. It's been cooked perfectly. And let's see. What do you got? I am done. Eddie's style is great. I am done. I have, am I supposed to announce what I have, Mike? Yeah. How'd you make this? I have a spinach, citrus, and fennel salad. Show off. With the snapper on top. There you go.
That's my dish. Eddie, what did you do? I did a spinach fennel citrus salad with the snapper on top. That is awesome. Got a little pepper crust. I like the two guys. They give me some nice positive reinforcement like I matter. You do. That's sweet. Sky, a homeless person wouldn't eat that. You just wait. That looks good, dude. My God. I need it. What you got working, Mike? I have done a artichoke, garlic, fingerling potato deal. I've kind of gone with an Asian-American infusion. And I used some leek. I thought the leek and the artichokes would go well together. The leek has kind of an onion-y kind of deal. Looks like your fish is cooked perfectly. Yeah, that's what he said. And I even have a little garnish on mine. I got a little garnish going on on the top with the, you know, because we've got like the, let's see where I should put this. I put mine right there. Yours is pretty, actually. Just add stuff. It's fine. Yeah, yours has a lot of color, and it's pretty. I was just adding everything. Thank you.
Let's see. Ashley really kind of put a lot of things in hers. Are they ever going to finish? Shall I describe my dish? Yeah. Go ahead. My dish is plated. My dish is plated. Oh, wow. Hers is called a mess. May I please? May I please? That is really... What we've got here, Mike, is a fine snapper. It's an almond-crusted snapper. No, no, no. That is throw-up. No, that's Eddie. That's fish hash. Yeah. It's a lemon-almond-crusted snapper. That looks horrendous. Fish browns. Accompanied with some roasted potatoes and an asparagus mixture. A plethora of vegetables. What the hell? Oh, wow. That's got to be the worst-looking thing on a plate I've ever seen. That's true. That is true. Enjoy. Okay, Ashley is now putting just final touches. Some burnt stuff on there for texture. I'm just a minute away. Look at Skye's. I'm just a minute away. What the? She's got, like, corn on there. I mean, it's the strangest deal. Dude, Skye's looks fine. It's corn and potatoes. Who doesn't like corn and potatoes? Well, besides livestock, I guess. Mixed together in a skillet. I mean, what do you want? Yeah, like, how can it get any better? What are you, from Ireland in 1820?
I mean, we have all these other things over here. They're yucky. Okay, fair enough. Sky has done something that is Amish-infused. You don't know. And it should be really good. How much longer does that need to cook, you think? A couple years. Shut up, Mike. Okay, this is going to be the bomb. You guys just wait and see what I'm going to do next. No, no, no. It is a bomb. Don't anybody get near it. Shut up. Skye is plating with her rubber gloves on, by the way. Her latex gloves. Well, dude, there's fish in the vicinity. Someone could get hurt here. Okay, Ashley is now sprinkling... What is that? Cinnamon? I don't know. That looks like paprika. Is that paprika? Smoked paprika. Hungarian paprika. And then I'm going to put my salsa fish here. How about that, guys? How about that? Oh, man. Oh, Ash, what is that? Lemon. Should we get to the tasting? Lemon zest. Yeah, let's get to the tasting, and then we've got to take a break. Let's get the chefs over here. Hold on, I'm almost done. Okay, Skye is now plating up hers. Pardon. Pardon. No, I'm not done yet. Oh, I'm sorry. I don't know how this happened, but Skye's came out looking like salmon. When it was all done, it ended up looking like salmon. Oh, that's pretty. Oh, I know why. She put...
Salsa on it? Yes. That's right. That is uncomfortable. Oh, more on it. Oh, she just put a big, giant dollop. Okay, Skye. What are you doing? Three oranges on top of the salsa. Skye, remember, Skye, human beings are going to eat it. Eddie put oranges on his and nobody yelled at him. I made a citrus salad. That's right. Yeah, that's what I made. Without salsa. I made a salsa citrus salad. All right, now let's talk to two chefs. Let's talk to two chefs. Eat up, guys. That was so disgusting. They just high-fived and fish juice flew everywhere. Okay, guys. She's the best. You eat with your eyes. Talk about presentation. Okay, first impression. First impressions. Skies is first. We will start with Skies. We'll roll into this one here. Thank you. Thank you very much. It's creative. It has a rustic down home. It's simple and straightforward. It seems like it's going to have active flavors.
Yeah, if home is Donovan State Prison, then we're down home. That fish is a beating. Oh, wow. He did not need to go there. Oh, no. Sky is not happy. Nobody used their business. They're the worst. Stay. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. There it is. I'm just saying. Don't come to your home and tell you. I love them. I love them. I love them. I love them. Can you taste that? I'm going in. I'm going in. Oh, wow. Why is he using a big spoon? Because that's a big job, Skye. That's a big job. Okay, here he goes. Make sure you get the salsa on there. It's in his mouth. He's chewing it, and he's tasting it. And what do you think of that? The flavors are fine. Yeah, yeah, why not? The salsa? The salsa worked out pretty good. Potatoes could use a little more seasoning. Like any. No. I put garlic and onions in there, okay? No salt and pepper? How about seasonings? Salt and pepper. What's that? Oh, boy. Don't worry about it, Skye. All in all? Should we scale, though? Scale one to ten. Ten? Let's go right in the middle.
Okay, it's a five. I will take that. I will take that. I will take that. I will take that. Very, very good. Thank you. Thank you. Well, I take it back. It's not a beating, but I'll give it a five as well. Okay. I will accept that. Thank you very much. It's a really good job, Skye. I'm very proud of myself. Next one is beautiful. It's actually plated really well. It looks great. It looks like it's been seasoned perfectly, and that's Eddie's dish. And what do you think? All right, I'm going in on this one, too. Eddie did some cool stuff. He utilized some of the fennel that was in there, so he comboed the fennel and citrus, very kind of classic European or Mediterranean flavor. That's what I was going for. Show off. All right, and he is tasting. Show off. He is tasting. It's excellent. Thank you. Yeah. It's excellent. Yeah. Here goes Chris. Thank you very much. Chris is making sure that he gets. Say my first rodeo. Eddie. Eddie, what were your thoughts? I wanted something fresh. It's, you know, spring, summertime. I wanted, like, a citrus base to it. And, you know, I just wanted something refreshing for the boys. Oh, how about that? How about that? Nice and refreshing. Very, very good. Good job, Eddie. I think it's better than mine. Wow. Wow. That's a statement. Our new business, Three Chefs. There you go.
New York Sky? No, definitely not. Salsa fish for everyone. The next one is mine. Looks so good, Mike. I did artichoke garlic and fingerling potatoes. There was artichoke? There was artichoke. He's getting a little artichoke. I used some of those leeks because I wanted to get... Wait, which is it? Leeks taste like... Which one tastes like licorice? Fennel. Fennel. I didn't use the fennel. I used the leeks because the leek is an oniony kind of deal, right? And I also used a little bit of artichoke, and I like the red potatoes and the green artichoke together, and I don't know. Yeah, no, I like it. You can really get the roasted garlic that comes through on there really well with kind of the potatoes got a little bit of color on them. Yeah, yeah. I like that you use the artichoke in there. The artichoke has a little bit of lemon in, and then you have lemon in there. Right. Very well balanced. Eddie's still number one, but this is a solid seven. Eddie? Nice. Good job. Good job. We're starting two chefs. What do you think? What do you think, Jeremiah? I'm going to say I actually like Mikey's a little bit better. Wow. More long, but, you know, it's kind of subjective, but it's more my style. I like the potatoes and the artichokes. Everything's seasoned very well. Thank you. And the fish is still moist and cooked perfectly. Sweet. That is awesome. Excellent. Finally.
Finally, folks. Oh, God. We're so sorry. You guys, we are so sorry. This is going to be the best. Sky, do any of you guys own a cat? Actually, Chris does. Well, this is going to be perfect. everything. I put a nice very... She put everything in that pan, you guys. Everything. She calls this dish whiskers. Yeah. Chris just took a bite. Chris, what are your thoughts on that? Oh, he's actually making a face. Are you sure? Is that face like, oh, I like that? No, I'm going to upchuck. He looks confused. Face as if she were my girlfriend, I'd really like it. There's a lot going on. Yeah. Talk about it. That's my girl. I'm not going to say that it lacks focus.
Oh, no. You're just going to say that that dish needs ADD medicine. I did not take my adult. Like that dish has once flooded an apartment. Eddie. Eddie. We're moving past it. We're moving past it. Thank you. Thank you. All right. So we'll get down to the highlights of it. Thank you. Highlights. She used preserved lemon in the dish, and that goes really well with the almond and corn meal crust. Melage, should we say? That's a great word to describe that. Fish ended up being a little bit dry. You told me it wasn't done. I was ready to take it out. That's your fault, so don't duck. Whoa! The door's going down. To Chris's credit, you had two pieces of fish on top of each other. But it does come back around. Nice. The garniture that you put on at the end actually had a really positive effect on a dish of smoked paprika. Saved it. And a solid six and a half. Yeah. Bravo. Bravo. What did I get? A seven. I got a seven. I got a seven. Jeremiah. I'm going to have to agree with Chris on that one. The paprika definitely saved it. It was very.
confusing at first. And I didn't even know that we had some of those ingredients. I'm not sure where she got those, but yeah, I'll actually give it a six. Not bad. That was fun. Now that's what you guys did, right? There's a final plate there and that's what you guys actually did. Jeremiah did that. We got like lentils and stuff in there. Really good. Lentils? Yeah, I used some of the lentils. I used some of the spinach. That's a great movie with Barbra Streisand, right? Lentil. Oh, right, right, right. Close, Mike. I thought it was a movie about that. This is getting embarrassing. You're close. You're close. It's cool, man. All right. Well, guys, we're going to take a break, and when we come back... How do we get a hold of you guys to get to... And I'll have you come to our house. Yeah, people want you to come do this. You can check us out on the website. It's www.twoshefssd.com. Sweet. Nice. Thank you, guys. Take a break. Eddie, what are we doing? Are we coming back? We've got to go interview Denise Richards. Okay, okay. Thank you, then, from out here, guys. They're going to cook up some burritos for all of you P1s out here. Stay here, guys. They're going to make you burritos. And we'll be back inside. We're going to be talking to Denise Richards in a second. We'll be back. It's Rock 105.3.

You know, my paycheck will go to putting gas in my car and smoking cigarettes. And Ashley. I am them! The Mikey Show's on. Chalking and jaw-dropping. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It is 8.40. The Texas Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the polygamous sect children should be returned to their parents. USD's playing in the NCAA baseball tournament in a regional this weekend. They're going to play Cal today. So welcome back to the show. And all the P1 Army, please make noise in the studio and clap. Tomorrow's my birthday, and I said, I thought it would be fun to have a lot of my good friends in here in the studio, and they were here and supporting outside, and so we had them come into the studio. On the phone with us right now, Denise Richards has a new reality show called Denise Richards. It's complicated. It's on the E! Network, and she's our guest right now. Denise, are you there? I'm here. Good morning. Good morning, Denise. Good morning. You got a new show, and tomorrow's my birthday.
Oh, happy birthday. Lola's birthday, her third birthday, is on Sunday. There you go. So she's June the 1st. She's June 1st. Is that still a Gemini? She's a Gemini. There you go. There you go. I am a Gemini. Awesome. Well, happy birthday. Thank you very much. Denise has a new reality show out, and it's called It's Complicated. And this is going to be an interesting interview. And I'll tell you why. When I first got the... the opportunity to interview you, I said, I would love to interview Denise Richards, but I don't want it to turn into a, so what do you have to say about this behavior? And what do you have to say about that? I don't want it to be that. But then my producer, Eddie said, well, why don't, he said, that's why she has a show. Well, the show is about, from what I understand, Denise, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, kind of clearing up all these rumors that are out there about you and kind of showing everybody what the real deal is. Yeah, you know what? There's been so much out there about myself, and I'm very candid. I'm very honest, and I felt, you know what? I'm just going to do this show. People believe what they hear and read, and I want them to see who I really am. Well, I think that the most talked about thing in regard to you over the last couple of years has been the divorce with Charlie Sheen. The other deal is the falling out with Heather Locklear.
You were involved with her ex-husband, Richie Sambora. Yes, but that did not cause our falling out, Heather and I. Our friendship ended, it had dissolved before Richie and I, long before he and I even got together, which a lot of people didn't know. Okay, so let's... FYI. I didn't know that. No, listen, that's one of the deals. That's one of the deals. So talk to us about it. Has she ever expressed any... animosity about you dating her ex-husband? To me personally? Yeah. Well, of course, yeah. But at the time, you know, Charlie and I had ended our marriage, and her and I, our friendship had dissolved, and the four of us were friends. I knew Heather through Charlie originally, and it was, it was, it was, sorry, my phone's ringing. I don't know why. Everyone knows I'm doing these. And then Richie and I continued, we stayed friends and we were both going through a divorce and it wasn't something that we planned and it just happened. Was there an attraction before you were split up with Charlie and she was split up with Richie? Yeah, she had already split up with Richie. She had already filed her divorce. She had already moved on herself with someone as well. No, what I'm saying is, was there an attraction between you and Richie before all that? No, I was actually with my husband at the time.
But there was, like, a good friendship. I mean, you all got along. I mean, I didn't, I've never had an affair on my husband. I've never, you know, had an affair with anyone who was involved with someone. So, you know, I liked Richie as a person. I thought he was a good husband, and he was a great dad. Is there a feeling from Heather that this was in any way, you know, you guys had a falling out, I'm assuming, so you weren't friends anymore? Right. Do you think that there was ever, did she ever express to you, are you doing this to hurt me? No, definitely. She knew what happened. Now, I think I've heard, Denise, and I'm trying to read between the lines because Denise Richards is on. She's got a new show called It's Complicated. I'm trying to read between the lines because I think we've heard something like that before where Denise says, you know, because I remember that Heather. at one time was kind of vocal about her displeasure. And Denise, now that you said that, I remember you saying something to the effect of, well, she knows what the real deal is. And there's a lot of trying to figure that out. There's a lot of stuff that the public doesn't know, and people can be judgmental, but nobody knows what really goes on behind closed doors.
You know, there's a lot. I'm not going to say why our friendship dissolved. That's between her and I. We're very different people. We're very different and had nothing to do with Richie. She knows that. She was already involved with someone. She had already filed for divorce. And Richie and I, you know, it's natural when you're vulnerable and you both go through a divorce and both your parents were diagnosed with cancer at the same time. And, you know, we were a support for each other. And then before we knew it, we started to fall in love. It definitely was not a... a fling it wasn't something that we planned it just happened and you know and i was i felt bad for everyone involved in the situation but at the same time i don't regret it he was um he's a great guy and i we everyone knows that he and i being together did not cause the split with anyone and if heather and i did stay friends i absolutely would not have crossed that line with richie You and Charlie, your ex-husband Charlie Sheen, you strongly disagreed on whether or not to let your kids appear on the reality show. Ultimately, what led you to having them on? Actually, Charlie was fine with it when I first approached him. I needed to get a legal waiver from him for E, and he signed it, and then he changed his mind. So, you know, it's clear in the recent events, I think.
Charlie, before I could even sit down with Matt Lauer last week on the Today Show, he released a statement that had nothing to do with anything. It was very obvious his reasons were to try to discredit me and make me look bad. I would have understood him releasing something if I had said something, but I've tried very hard to not say anything negative about him. Never once in any of these statements and emails and whatever does he even mention the children. So it's obvious what his intentions are. What's a bummer is, you know, how much animosity there seems to be from both sides. You both have a hard time getting along with one another. Honestly, I've tried. I've suggested a mediator. I'm willing to, and I've tried to, I can put this stuff aside and have it be about the kids. He has not. I've taken three years of him bashing me in the press, and that's what people don't understand. I've never commented.
I've had a lawyer comment. Everything that I ever said was through a court document protecting my children. That became public, and that's something that people don't understand. At that moment, I was a mom protecting my children. Last week, after being blindsided and after three years of dealing with this, you know, I said, if you want to talk to me. This guy's got to be about the show. I've got to move on. There's only so much a person can take. Was that the handler that said it's got to be about the show? Yeah. Yeah, Handler, I absolutely am going to mention the show. In fact, I've mentioned it three times. The show's called It's Complicated. It airs on E! Sundays at 10. The Handler's name is Art. Art. Of course, Art. I've been mentioning the show. It's on Sunday nights at 10 o'clock on E! And I hope everyone watches it. Oh, gosh. That was... I mean... That was just... I thought she was handling herself fine. She was, and I mean, in terms of the radio stations that she's going to be on, you know they're going to be giving her the business. Of course. You know they're going to be giving her the tough business. I'm trying to give her the fair business. Yeah. I'm just trying to give her the let's ask some questions business. That's all. And the thing that trips me out is I've seen the promo that E! is running for this show, and the promo is all about them clearing up these rumors. Right.
And so you would think that's what they want to talk about. Art, do you want me to ask her about Drop Dead Gorgeous? Do you want me to ask about, like, hey, Denise, you know, speaking of the kids, talk to us about some arts and crafts. Yeah. Talk about the time you showed your breasts and wild things. What am I supposed to ask? Like, what are we supposed to say? I don't know any of this. Wow. Eddie. Eddie prepares me for interviews. Eddie and I have worked together for a long time, and I know that he knew that the fifth item was going to make me laugh, yet he still put it there. What was it? See, he also knows this. He knows that I, a lot of times, will read his preparation live on the air. So when I saw number five, well, he knew it was going to make me laugh, and... And I guess his statement to me is, well, you know what? Deal with it, Mike. It's funny. I don't understand. Well, it's not really a question. It's a statement. Question five is as follows. Denise, you and Pam Anderson dropped a computer on an 80-year-old woman. Was it? Is that not true? That's it. That's it. That's it. That's it. And respond. That's not a good question.
What is the problem? I think Eddie's philosophy is, listen, you put it out there, and then you just hear what comes back your way. It's like a boomerang. Okay, we have line six and line seven. Hello. Happy birthday.
Oh, my gosh. Look at these two clowns. Look at these two clowns. You are the king clown, buddy. It's the king clown's birthday today. It's Bauman and Woods. Yeah, dude, real good. Yeah, great. Okay, great. We're calling for my BMW, all right, bro? It's an M3, okay, bro? You always trump me there, buddy. storage boards me. That's so funny. What do you guys do? What are you clowns doing? It's 10 after 11. Yeah, what a burger, dude? Yeah, great. It's cross clown. Don't worry about that. So I want to talk to each guy individually so that you can understand because we've been doing these voices of Bauman and Woods forever. And so first we'll talk to Woods. Okay, good. Yeah, dude, lead off hitter, all right? Yeah, great. And Woodsy, how you doing? I'm really well.
How are you? I'm good. I'm good. It is, you know, I saw the pictures of you on the intranet. You're looking handsome as ever. Thank you. Good. You know, married a little bit fat and happy, but it's pretty good. I get a lot of grief from Bauman about it because that guy's still out chasing skirt every night. That's right. That's right. And Woodsy, do you remember the time that you were at Eddie's house? You were standing on the balcony and you threw your cigarette off the balcony and it hit a cop. the shoulder. That was real smart, dude. I'm such a different guy. Oh! Yeah, not really. He's a totally different guy. There he is. There's the sophisticated of it, too. Tell him what I did last night. Huh? Tell him what I did last night. Well, I was gonna... I actually had that written down in my little liner notes here, but... What? I love it. I love it. No, wait a minute. Let me introduce him. Let me introduce him. This is... The other guy you're hearing is Mark Baumann. So friends of ours from Dallas that we worked with at the radio station, they are two characters. They're like best friends. They hang out together constantly. And they fight. They fight, but they're so different. You know, that's what I think makes them such good friends. They're the odd couple. You know, Woodsy, they're both very handsome guys. Woodsy is this tall guy. Thanks, dude. That's right.
Woodsy is more, Steve Woods is more of like the street smart, you know, like he's the. From the streets. Yeah, from the streets, yeah. And Bauman is the more sophisticated of the two. Yeah, dude, you know where I got this jacket? Milan. Yeah, dude. So, Mark, tell me what Woodsy did last night. Okay, I get home from playing tennis, mind you. They have to have a TV show about themselves. From playing tennis. Yeah. Walking the dog, right? And so I reach out to my boy. Hey, man, what's going on tonight? And he writes me back, at the movies, dude. He loves to go to the movies. Right. I'm thinking the guys at Indiana Jones or some big, you know, action flick. I go, what movie are you checking out? And the guy tells me, sex and the city. No. What? What? What? What? Okay. What is? Wow. Yeah, right. Yeah. Why? And the guy writes back.
Because it makes her happy. You're a good man. You're a good man. He'll be happy later. My vagina is a little sore today. That means that our boy Steve Woods has changed a little bit. He has changed a little bit, which is good. Look at that. He's settling down. I enjoyed myself the whole movie. Woods, you're on the air, bro. Now, back in the day, we'd be talking to Woods and you'd be talking to him on his cell phone and every five seconds he would have to pause and you'd hear. That was after the 20 minute berating of what pussies we are for not taking his phone calls because we have women. Yes. This guy's out seeing sex in the city. Yes. How dare you? Yeah. Yeah. If we had our girlfriend, if my like if Rebecca was in town or if Eddie was with his girlfriend and he called and we didn't pick up the phone.
We would get like a five-minute long voicemail that would sound like, dude, it's real great that you don't answer your phone because I guess your boys don't mean anything to you. I see you're with your lady, dude. That's real nice. That's great, dude. Your boys don't mean nothing anymore. That's great. I tell you what, when you take your skirt off, why don't you call us back? Absolutely. It'd be great. Sex in the city. Mike, a happy birthday, obviously. We love the whole show, and you guys are great. I wanted to ask Mike a question, dude, and I wanted to. Hey, you tread lightly, bro. This is going to be bad. It's going to be really bad. Woodsy, before you ask me anything, just be careful with your questioning, okay? Really? Yeah, please. He's a different guy now, dude. Let me show you. This is against my better judgment, too. Oh, no. See, Bauman is the more sophisticated of the two, and he recognizes whatever Woodsy is going to ask.
Yep. This is probably not good. You should probably, you know, ask me an email form, Woods, is what you should do. Of course. Do you want me to hear it off the air? Yes. Let me put you on hold, all right? Hang on, hang on. I can only imagine. I can only imagine. Let me hear Eddie's side of the conversation. Eddie's pre-approval. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm just racing away with you. Right, right. Remember when we pulled up to that place? And the girl came up to the car. What's the question? Oh, my gosh. Yes. Now it's not going to be worth all the time that we took. Do we have approval? Yes. It's ridiculous. You're on the air. Go ahead. It's typical Woods. Don't say anything out, bro. Me, Bauman, and Mikey go to a delicious breakfast at the Hash House, okay, in San Diego. Mm-hmm.
Delicious. And there's a two-hour wait. Of course, Mike gets us right up to the front. They pull us right in, grab us a table. We sit down to one of the best meals I've ever had. I still fiend for this place every Sunday morning. So then, Boone's got to go to the airport, okay? Mike's going to drive him to the airport. And your boy had another day in San Diego. So Mike says, you know what? I'm going to drop you off, and we'll talk later. Okay, great. Well... He drives Bauman to the airport, dude, but the guy pulls over and basically says to Bauman, you know, because Bauman's kind of a, Bauman's not a real religious guy. And he goes, I just want you to know, Bauman, that, you know, when it all comes down, I want you to be there with me in the end. Okay? And I'm worried about you. And it's very heartfelt. And it's very loving. And it's brother, you know, we got to be together in the end. And they dump me off to go rent porn. He's very upset that you didn't give him a talk. You don't want to be with him in the end. He needs it. That's so funny, man. Woodsy, you've got to understand. Woodsy, there was no plan to talk to Bauman about that. Honestly, that conversation came up and then it started happening. But if I had a thought about you back with your porno, I probably would have driven back to the W. Great, dude.
Don't want to see your boy next to the king. Is that it? You know what I told him? Afterlife, dude, is you and your boys. Yeah, I guess it's going to be Bauman, not me, right? Yeah, that's awesome. Because he's got the BMW. Is that the deal? Yeah, I get it, dude. I guess only people with the BMWs go to heaven. Is that the deal, bro? Okay, great. I got back, and I go, hey, man, I had a great talk with Mikey. And he goes, yeah? What about? And I told him. And he goes, huh. I can so see that. Oh, great. Hey, great. Hey, great. Awesome, dude. You know what, dude? I always liked you better than me anyway. Mikey, go ahead, dude. Talk to him about it. I'll be watching porn back in the room, okay, bro? Great, thanks. Taking a bump. Yeah, great. Your boy's back addicted to drugs back in the hotel room, okay? Thanks for the talk, bro. Could have used you, okay? Please tell him you want him there in the end. He'll feel a lot better. That's right. Want you there in the end, Woodsy. Want you there in the end.
That's right. There you go. Woods, did you, true or false, the night before Eddie's wedding, Bauman had to get another room because you snored so loud. Absolutely. No question. No question. No question. They stayed together here the night before Eddie's wedding at the W Hotel. They shared a room against Bauman's better judgment. Do you know how many times he's had to say that with Woodsy, against my better judgment? But Woodsy breaks him down, and eventually he gives in. Dude, it'll save us money, dude. I'm not like a money shark like you, okay, bro? Exactly. And Bauman's like, I can afford my own room. Yeah, dude, but the kid can't, all right? The kid can't do it. Let's just get a room together. I'm going to help the kid. Dude, we'll have a great time. We'll get some tail. Dude, it'll be great. Get some tail. So they stay in the same room. And what happened, Bauman? Well, I fought it off, right? And the guy, I tried to beat him to bed. You know, this is like where you figure if I get in, get comfortable.
and fall asleep before the guy does, then I'm going to be golden, and I'll be sleeping through his snoring. Well, I was psychosomatic the whole thing due to overanalyzing. Love it. And I put it in. That didn't help. Oh, my gosh. That did not help. So at 3 o'clock in the morning, at 3 o'clock in the morning, I got up, and I go, screw this. I can't do it. It's a prima donna, dude. It's a prima donna, right? Teflon kid, dude. And they told me, well, we're all full, sir. And I said, you know what? You're not. I had to pay double the rate. No, you didn't. Let me tell you something. I could afford it, though. It was great. It was worth it. Put it on the platinum, dude. It was the best night's sleep I've had in a long, long time. I called up the beautiful, exquisite Ashley. That's right. You don't worry about Ashley. Yeah. They fight over Ashley. That's right. We don't because Woody's got his. That's right. Yeah, dude. That's right. What if I didn't? You know where she's going, dude. The kid. To the salsa maker. You're so stupid. You're so stupid. All right, the two of you. Hang up on that. Get out of here.
Okay, enough with a long-winded experience. Pick up your phone every once in a while. Yeah, great. We love you guys. When are you going to come out here? Hey, we're waiting for you to come back and repay the favor, seriously. Got it. Got it. All right, brother. Bring Ashley. You're bombing. Nice. You know why? Because she's exquisite. She's a work of heart. She's a work of heart. She's like the Mona Ashley, okay? I'll have her Mona Ashley. All right, thank you. All right, guys, we'll talk to you later. Thank you, bro. That's hysterical. The two of them on the air together. Oh, this thing is stuck. I can't turn the phone line off. Oh, no. There we go. Oh, it's... Hit it. I mean, are you kidding? Mike. Take your time. No, no, Sean. That's awful. Do we have to take a break? Yeah. I got it. Oh, that was so cool. Wish I could get my own room, dude. Yeah, dude. Okay. Can't really afford that, though. You still owe me half, dude. Take a quick time out.

My 11-year-old son, Anthony, was overcome by carbon monoxide and slipped underwater. Four adults dove in after him, but he was gone. In one moment, our lives changed forever. Everybody misses him, but nobody misses him more than his family. If I'd known a boat's carbon monoxide emissions are over 100 times more lethal than automobiles, he'd definitely still be with us today. Now you know. Remember, if it's your boat... Mikey, I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Cunningham pillow top over at Sleep Train two weeks ago, and it was just an amazing experience. The salesperson gave me 10% off before he even knew I was in there for the Mikey show. And then I used the Ace card and said, oh, Mikey told me to come in, and I got an additional 10. So all in all, I saved 20% on the mattress.
And I bought it at Mission Valley at 11 o'clock. They had it delivered and installed in Chula Vista by 2.30 on the same day. That's rad. And what's even more amazing, since it was a Cunningham pillow top, it was personally delivered by Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber. It was just an amazing experience. That's awesome. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train to all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Potsy Weber delivered it. Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you. Back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I try not to do dangerous things.
Eddie. You guys know me. I'm the most practical person. Sky. Well, I enjoy spicy food. Sean. I'm always one who... Who's to save? I always want to save. Boston Robb. I thought I was being as gay as I could get. Okay, get a little gayer. And Ashley. That's me. Don't take the retarded Juliette Lewis. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Make some noise, feeling it. Yes. Make some noise. Welcome back. It is 9.31. We have some breaking entertainment news this morning. Ashley. Ashley's so gay. You're so gay, Ash. You're so gay. I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready. Okay. We have two pieces of breaking entertainment news this morning. Number one.
Angelina Jolie has reportedly given birth to her twins. Boys, girls, boys. It's being reported that it's two girls and they're named after her grandmother and Brad's grandmother. I don't know. Still early. Did she put them up for adoption immediately? Because I know she likes adoption. She likes browner babies. That's true. You could be Angelina Jolie's kid. That's right. Breaking entertainment story number two. 50 Cent and his lady or ex-lady are in this heated battle over their breakup. One of the things they're fighting over is a piece of property that belongs to him that she lives in, which mysteriously caught fire in a suspicious manner. You're using finger quotes. She's pulling a left eye. No one is saying that 50 and his crew did it, but it's very suspicious. And nobody has said that.
Let me tell you. I'm just throwing it out. I would not say. I would not insinuate that he did anything wrong. In fact, I think he's a good person. And he probably would have saved the place. Yes, absolutely. He would have helped if he'd have been there and he put it out himself. He would have put it out with his gun. Welcome back to the show. And let's see. I have material. I have lots of things that we can talk about. Maybe. Let's see. What is going on in you two? It's feisty today. They won and they're all excited. It's a good day. We're smart. Oh, wow. I wouldn't go that far. Feels good to be smart, Eddie. Feels good. These are always funny to listen to. WABC-TV New York throws it to a reporter in the field who obviously isn't ready to go live. Cut nine. Good evening. I'm Diana Williams. And I'm Shade Bedard. More on those stories in a moment, but we begin with breaking news. We've got Shannon Stone live in News Copter 7 over a police-involved shooting in Bed-Stuy. Shannon, tell us what you got. Okay, I hate to do this. Damn it. I don't know what we're doing. Okay, we were having a few technical difficulties. Good recovery. Well, you know what's funny is like...
Well said. We can hear that she wasn't ready. Can't the anchors hear it and like help out and be like, hey, you're on. Anchors on news are the worst ill-prepared people when it comes to like any kind of technical difficulty, any kind of ad lib. They are the worst. If it's not on the teleprompter, they're not saying it. They're not going there. They'll just sit silent. I think radio people might make a good transition because we're used to not having prep. Yeah, go on the fly, man. Yeah, we're used to not being professional. We would be laughing and be like, oh, she can't hear us, guys. What, are you farting up there? So, that's that. Let's hear an internet video that looks at what Hillary Clinton was like as a 10-year-old. Cut seven. Yes, it is. Serena, this is over. We won. I don't think so. I suggest that we not count your home run in the third inning due to unsportsmanlike conduct. All the spaces have been counted yet. So I'm not going to officially declare you the winner. But I won. No, you didn't. Yes, I did. No, you didn't. Yes, I did. Yes, you didn't. No, I didn't. You're just ganging up on a girl. I'm trying to compete in a man's world. But I got four in a row. That has nothing to do with you being a girl. Sexism is ugly. Thank you.
Wow. It's really hysterical. Yeah. Yeah. I'm over the jokes with that. Last night, Sean ate something called Healthy Joe. Oh. Wait, what? What is that? His wife made it and called it Healthy Joe. Is it like Sloppy Joe, but healthy? It's chicken. I thought Joe was coffee. It's chicken. It sounds like I'm reading the wrong thing and Ashley made this. It's like a sloppy joe. Give it to me. It's chicken. What's up? Carrots. All right. Pearl onions. Bell pepper. Okay. And garlic. Yeah, like it. On a whole wheat hamburger bun. Wow. That sounds good. It does sound good if you were starving and just came out of the Saharan Desert. Or if you're trying to be healthy. Hold on. Oh, man. It was delicious. That's what you say. You've got to go home. That's right. That's true. I don't blame you, Sean. Sean, I don't blame you. I don't blame you. What did you... How did she cook the chicken? Yeah, was it in a trough? Yes. Was it in a wooden trough? Was it in a trough? Was it in a bucket? And did the bucket go around your head? Yes. Come on. This is an idiot.
Sean, how was the chicken cooked? It was like, it was... Boiled. Oh, dude. It was, first it was like cooked in the oven and then it was diced. And then it was put into a skillet with like all the vegetables and stuff. And then she put like some oils and some other stuff in there. And like made this kind of, it was almost like a stew. And then she spooned the stew over the whole wheat hamburger. Sounds great. Skye? Yes, Eddie. I'll say it for her. No, thank you. Why? Why not? Sean said it was great. It's really good. And healthy, which is awesome. Yeah, healthy Joe. You should try it. I will. Never. Eddie will try it. Can she make a big bucket and send it over? To your health. Now, if you feel like you're starting to gain some weight, why don't you eat a healthy Joe, you turkey? You turkey. Yeah. Put a turkey in there. What did you think of that? Yeah. Stupid. Ashley did have some fallout from Sammy eating the cookies. Sammy's her dog. And ate nine of her cookies that she baked and got the squirts. Oh, hey. We could have kept that. And apparently this happened on a rug that Ashley had. Was it Sammy or her boyfriend?
He loves my cooking. He loves what I cooked last night. Did you see what she made today? It was delicious. I just tried. That was great. She made the weirdest concoction outside this morning. It was a little bit over flavorful. Did you see their looks on their faces? The chef's faces were like... They stuck it in their mouths. It is six and a half. They're nice guys. Really nice guys. No, it looked horrible. I'm sorry. It did, Chantel. Chantel, it did. She's being honest. She's just being honest. Get out the sauces and milk. Here we go. She said, don't eat it. Don't eat it. She doesn't know what she put in it. Chantel, why would you say that? Don't eat it, though. It did not look good. She doesn't know how else, guys. Okay, she's new in the club. We don't vote against... The girls, Chantel. I'm looking out for you and your girl. You don't do that to your girl. Yeah, you don't know the culture. These girls, they make the other girls feel terrible when they don't go girl power. I know, but I don't want her to get sick. They don't ever have real opinions. They can't have their own opinions. They have to agree with each other. But we wouldn't use the word horrible when given the opportunity. They have to agree with each other. We would say, oh, it may be not. Oh, look, they're ganging up on Chantel. We got your back, girl. It looked terrible. I don't need you guys. It's all in the wording. She's on her own.
I can handle this. I'm just saying, you don't even know what you cooked with. Yeah, that's true. I do know what I cooked with. I was very aware and awake when I cooked. I know what I cooked with. I think you were sleep cooking. You asked for a paintbrush. Yeah, you did. You did ask for a paintbrush. I did. To paint the oil on the fish. Is that so cool? I've seen that on Food Network. Thank you, Skye. They do that. They do that. They don't get it. Yeah, but they don't have to use that. That's right. Well, some people prefer me. That's cute. Actually, she had a spray bottle out there. It was actually easier. Well, you don't know. I worked it out, dog. Okay, homie. Had I tasted it? It was a little pitchy, though. I just said I tasted it, and it was great. It was disgusting. I mean, not by normal people's terms. I know you didn't. You were too busy saying it was horrible. Wow. I tasted it. Your brownies were good, though. Those weren't brownies. It was cake. It was cake? No, they were brownies. I know. No wonder your team hates you. Team sass has turned on you. We'll be together again. Wait till you leave. Why is it always when I leave? This is how Sky operates.
Eddie, stop telling the truth. I mean, stories. Stop telling stories. We are all friends. Sky has a list. Yes, a list. Sky has a list. Nice segue. Of 10 movies that were considered flops, but then went on to be cult classics. Yeah, I like this. I know. I know one. What? Little Shop of Horrors. Oh, that was a gigantic hit. I don't know. Look at Ashley laughing at you, Chantel. She is laughing at you right now. She is laughing. Skye, Little Shop of Horrors. I love you. I'm not getting on you. They turn into cult classics. This is what it says. Ten movies critics deemed flops at the time of their release. Yet the movies went on to gain cult or classic status. Oh, Rocky Horror Picture Show. That's what I said. Rocky Horror Picture Show. You said Little Shop of Horrors. Oh, that's what I meant. I meant Rocky Horror Picture Show. I didn't mean Little Shop of Horrors. What is that? No. I meant Rocky Horror Picture Show. No. Fast Times are raised my eye. How did you say no? Water World. I don't think that ever came back. No. Sorry, Sean. You know. All the movies that I've been quizzed on during the show and I didn't know. Ishtar.
I was going to say Blair Witch, but it was a hit. It made a ton of money. Westworld. Yes, Westworld. I bet Westworld's on there. What is that? Westworld is a Western movie about robots. Oh, great. I've never heard of it. It's great. That doesn't even sound good. Yul Brynner, they use Pink Floyd's song Time in it. Wow. Oh, that's a jam. That doesn't sound like a good movie. Oh, it is rad. How dare you. It is rad. Harold and Kumar. Harold and Maude. No, but you got half of the title, right? Harold and Maude? Yes, Harold and Maude. Harold and Maude is on the list. What is that? Where's Papa? Harold and Maude? Yes. Harold and Maude is this 1970s movie, and it's real dark and kind of creepy, but it's a comedy. It's a real dark comedy, and I actually own it. Wow. And it's a cult classic, but it's real weird. Wow. Starship Troopers. Wow. No. That's great. Wow. It's great now. Love Starship Troopers. Oh, what about like Dawn of the Dead? No. Or Day of the Dead. Night of the Living Dead. Or Night of the Living Dead. Dead Man's Party. No, Dad. Are you making up stuff now? The Lost Skeleton of Cadaver. That is your favorite movie of all time. Ever. And when I have surgery next, I will watch that while I'm laying in bed. I still haven't seen it. You're supposed to bring it in for me. Oh, dude.
He can't let it go. I want to see. I think Eddie would like it. I think Eddie would appreciate it. I showed a little bit of it to Sean. I want to see it. Army of Darkness. Oh, I bet that's on there. Army of Darkness. No. Oh, come on. Stop being like that. Evil Dead 2. People are calling in with a bunch of them. Paparazzi's got a good one. Go ahead, Paparazzi. Eddie, you're all right? Somebody in the room just said one. Princess Bride. No. Sorry, paparazzi. I just hung up. P1 Steve? Hey, Star Wars. Critics bombed it. What? No. What did somebody in the room say? They said Blade Runner. What is that? Yeah, I guess it did go on to be a cult classic. I didn't know it didn't make any money. I thought it made money. Ridley Scott.
Somebody in my head just asked me who directed that. P1 Joe E. Tata is on the line, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, he lives. He's making a comeback. Welcome back, sweet prince. Joe E. Tata. Wow. Where have you been all my life? Right across the street, actually. Yo, yo, yo. Yo, yo, yo. All right, I got the number one answer. You ready? What is it? True Romance. Oh, great answer. True Romance is a good one. If that's not on the list, this list is flawed. You better put it on the board. Put it on the board, Sky. It's not on the board. Oh, you're so ridiculous. You suck. P1 Jeff. Shut up. You do. Jeff, go ahead. Jeff. You monster. Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka. Oh, I know that one. P1 number three. Hey, what's up, guys? Happy birthday, Mikey. Thank you, bro. Well, I got an idea. It's B-Rob's favorite, Boondock Saints. Oh, probably. Nope. Muppets Take Manhattan. That's sad. Oh, yeah. Check it. Definitely. No, that was a huge answer. It was? This one may be. This next one may be. What? P1 Misfit. Oh, I know one. Uh, Scarface. No. What? I got it. What? Donnie Darko. Yes, Eddie. Donnie Darko. There we go. Yeah. I've never seen it. It's good. You want a hint for one? Yes. I'm nailing these.
Eddie made a joke about this movie the other day and got upset when no one left. Office Space. Office Space. That's true. What was Ashley going to say? United Together. I wasn't going to go there. You know, people get together in forums and talk about it. Midnight showings of United 93 where they yell at the screen. They throw little planes. Yeah, it's hysterical. Office Space. What did you say, Eddie? What was your line, the Office Space joke? Oh, I made a joke about tchotchkes. Tchotchkes. Still hilarious, huh, guys? Yep, the flair. He's a producer on Jeff and Jer, right? It's Chachki. No, let's move on. He never was. One of these movies was a question in Battle of the Sexes a few weeks ago. Men or women? It was a question for the women. Ashley got this question. Mad Max. The question was given to Ashley. Mad Max. Road Warrior Mad Max. Queen of Thunder. Oh, Road Warrior? No. The Matrix. Did you not say that again? She said no. Oh, Ben-Hur. Eddie. Rambo. Benji. Die Hard. With Bruce Springsteen, right? Yep, Bruce Springsteen. Yeah, he was talking about Die Hard. Was Bruce Springsteen in it? I know. I mean Bruce Willis. Every five minutes he was singing. Yep. Ridiculous. Horrible movie. Yeah, remember that movie Born in the USA? Yeah. Ashley had to say what it wasn't a rule. Oh, Fight Club.
Fight Club, yeah. Oh, Fight Club. Wow, you guys are doing great. We're killing this. We're really getting good at this, right? Yep, yep, yep. Guessing what's on the list. Yep, yep, yep. Yeah, just give them to us so that we can go. Okay, the remaining ones are Peeping Tom. What the hell is that? Never heard of that? I don't know. Bringing Up Baby. Never heard of that? Never heard of it. It's A Wonderful Life. Peeping Tom's a great movie. Never seen A Wonderful Life. You've heard of that, Chantel. It's A Wonderful Life. It's on every year at Christmas. Christmas. You really haven't? I've never seen it, but. I heard it's really great. Okay. Every time I say I've never seen it, everybody wants to slap me right in the head. You would love it. It's a white person movie. She's like, okay, I get it. That is a fact. That is a fact. It's a crack of movie. That's right. I don't watch it. You white people watch that? Okay, The Wizard of Oz. It's a honky show. Oh. And finally, Citizen Kane. Whatever. There you go. We weren't going to get those. I'm sorry. Don't yell. There's good guesses up there. The Big Lebowski, Clerks. Oh, Lebowski. Clerks. Breakfast Club. Those are good guesses. Breakfast Club makes money. I don't know. I thought they were all hits. Lebowski definitely wasn't. No, no, no. I mean the John Hughes movies. Yeah, all those movies were pretty good. Chantel, what's your favorite movie ever?
Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman. You're such a star. You're backing on our group. Yeah, you are the best. You're smart. My mom? Sorry. No, not at all. So good. So good. So good. Sky's favorite movie is Girls Just Want to Have Fun. You've seen it? So ridiculous. Chantel, you've seen it, right? Sarah Jessica Parker. Yeah, if you haven't seen it, two girls will hate it. It's all about dancing. Ashley and Skywell. It's so good. Do yourself a favor. See that. It's all about dancing, girl. Worth every minute. I'm on it. Oh, man, that's amazing. I can't have both of them upset at me at the same time. Testimony. Get out of here. Testimony. Does she really dance? Shannon Doherty. She's going to get out of here. But those kids are going to dance, though. Yeah. She used to be a dancer. Wow. Ooh. Yeah. This is when she was really little. Pretty woman, though. I know everywhere, too, so. Congrats. Okay, you guys. She drank a lot. I mean, just. I think we've got... Problem solved. Thank you. I've got to turn her mic on, though, because I have to ask her about news stuff. We've got to break. We do. We have to break. I hope we never get an engineer in here. You know what we need right now? Maybe I sit on you. She's just disconnected Chantel's microphone. I'll take her about two years to figure that out.
What's a P1? A P1 is someone that turns down their radio, they get to the point, they don't cuss, and they listen to the Mikey Show exclusively. That is correct. It's the P1 Army. The Mikey Show. Thank you so much for being here. It's just wonderful. Thank you. You gotta hit it. All right, well, it looks like Stephen Tyler has issued a statement on his stay in rehab. Yeah, and it's kind of weird. Okay, this is what he says in regards to him checking himself into rehab. Quote, a series of surgeries and post-operative physical therapy. Tyler, sorry, the doctor told me the pain in my feet could be corrected, but it would require a few surgeries over time. The foot repair pain was intense, greater than I anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Interesting. So he went into rehab about because of his foot pain.
Why not go to the Four Seasons if he needed a quiet place? Yeah, maybe like rent a cabin somewhere. Yeah. That's interesting. Why not get a hotel? Yeah. There's supposed to be some bad feet. Metallica's future with Warner Music is unclear. Yes. Yeah, I actually have a clip of it. Oh, no. I've been talking about it. Because this new album is going to be the last one on their contract with Warner. I didn't know they were on Warner. I thought they were on Elektra Records. I know they were for the Black Album, and I thought they were for a lot of albums. I didn't know they were Warner Music. Cut 67. It's awesome. It's awesome. It's exciting. It's exciting. That's not anything disrespectful about a great bunch of people of Warner Brothers. We love Warner Brothers. It's just exciting to be able to communicate directly with your fans. We don't like them. I think that's really exciting.
So Elektra is part of Warner. Yeah. Elektra's part of Warner. That's right, Lars. So, you know, we're going to be happy to go to Sony Music. We want to work for any record company that's not called Warner. Oh, Lars. Gross. You're getting it everywhere. That's right. Let's see. A couple of things and then we're going to wrap it up. I'll take it. Texas Supreme Court says that those sect kids should be returned. Really? Wow. Yeah, they said it was wrong to take them in the first place. Wow. Unconstitutional or something. Oh, wow. Wow. So it's not clear how soon the children will be returned to their parents, but now, you know, two courts have said this, and finally the big court, the Texas Supreme Court, said the same thing. Really? Mm-hmm. So they'll probably be giving them back pretty soon. Yep.
Let's see. The Padres rallied behind Jody Garut. No. Oh, Jody. Garut. No, don't. Garut. Garut. Garut. G-E-R-U-T. Garut. Yes. He had a three-run homer in the eighth. Is he your favorite player? He used to be. Really? He just got called up. He used to be my favorite player. Well, when he was in the minors. Yeah, when he was in the minors, I liked him, yes. Mike was a huge fan back then. When he played for the Fort Worth Rough Riders, I was a big fan. But he went by Garut back then. Yep, he went by Garut. Yeah, that's his minor league name, Garut. As soon as he started calling himself, you know, Garrett, I was like, oh, look who's gotten all important. So then I was out. NBA playoffs, the Lakers are headed back to the finals. Hey! They beat San Antonio last night, game five. You guys want to hear what Kobe Bryant has to say? Yeah. Oh, no. Says the team showed a lot of maturity yesterday. It's cut 72. It's the second time now we've been down 17, 20 points to San Antonio. And I think it shows a lot of maturity for a young team to be patient. And it's not a thing that the game is over to try to get it all back in one play. You know, we just stuck to it and got the game back. A couple of cool stories here.
Congratulations, Kobe. A couple of cool stories here. This is one of the nuttier things I've ever read. Now, if we have any part of this wrong, 5701053. But Sky and I were talking about this earlier. Here's the way we understand it. And Sky, correct me if I get any of this wrong. El Camino High School, Oceanside. The students are upset because they were told. that another student had died in a drunk driving accident somebody that they know but it was all part of a teaching technique by mad in other words they staged it you know to show these kids so they said a fellow student this is how it goes down the juniors and seniors sitting in their class one morning a police officer walks in
Goes over to the desk, an empty desk, puts a rose on the desk, goes to the front of the classroom and basically tells them this student has died in a drunk driving accident. Does kind of a brief little eulogy type of thing. Everybody's crying, hysterical, upset, whatever. The police officer leaves. About an hour later, they're all called into the auditorium to then be told that, no, actually, here are the kids. They didn't die. This is to teach you. about drinking, the consequences of drinking and driving. I just thought of this right now, Sky, while we were talking. Because we talked about it earlier. And I was confused because you and I were talking about, Sky said, they probably told this kid that had to pretend that he was dead that this is what's going on and blah, blah, blah. And it just dawned on me right now. The way that I probably, and I could be, who knows how the kid that was supposedly dead, how exactly it went down. I wonder if he's like or she. Is it he? Did they say? Uh-uh. I think it was multiple students, but I'm not sure. They did this at my school. Wait, they were saying multiple students died. I think so. Like they were in a car together. Okay. You know, so they could go into different classrooms. I'm not sure. I'm going to guess. But I'm going to guess that the two or however many students that they said were probably in like some kind of.
They're in like, you know how there was like high school things of kids that didn't like drinking and driving. So they were behind it and like, yeah, let's do this. Students against drunk driving. Yeah. Students against drunk driving. So they were probably in that or something like that. And they volunteered to do this. And Ashley, you're saying that they did this when you were in high school. They purposefully came in and told you guys that somebody had died. The way that they did it was they pulled everybody from the school. They're like, there's a huge accident. There's a huge accident outside. And we all knew, though, like that it was fake because we'd heard like we'd heard that it was going to be a fake stint. But when we went out there, there was a helicopter. There was cars set up, windows broken. I saw my friends like pretending they were dead with blood on them and cuts. And we all had to sit in this assembly, watch the whole thing be played out and then listen to like a lecture about how this is what could happen. Wait, you're in an assembly and what do they have, like a live news feed? Dude.
Like, no, no, we were all out there in the parking lot, like watching. Okay. And then after you look at it, then you go inside and they go. Guess what? No, we knew it was a joke when we saw it because it's like obviously... It looks so stupid. Oh, no, no. It was realistic, but obviously it's not like there was going to be a drunk driving accident right in front of our school with my best friend on the hood covered in blood. Well, not only... I mean, house over the top, right? But not only that... But it was very real. They made it seem very real. Not only that, but when there's an accident, they don't usually go... Let's get everybody to come look. Come look. Come look at the gore. Right. Yeah. So they were trying to plan it so that we didn't know that it was real. Like, you know, but we I mean, the kids knew. Yeah. Well, because kids aren't stupid and that. But this.
This sounds different. That's what I'm wondering if this is different. One of the CHP officers who's involved in this and I guess goes around to different schools and does this, you know, says, what would he tell a parent when a parent comes to him upset saying, oh, my God, you traumatized my child. And he said he would tell them, quote, if you don't do your job as a parent, the only thing I can do is either arrest them and take them to jail or scrape them off the ground and tell you I'm sorry. How about I do a good job as a parent and you still did this? Yeah, thank you. Why are you saying if I don't do my job? Well, I understand. Okay, maybe that makes sense. But my question is, why are you doing this? Like, when is it okay? It's like that thing we were talking about the other day. You know, Sky, when we were talking about spanking and my wife says, well, How is it that you teach somebody to not hit somebody by hitting them? Right. Like they hit their little brother and you go, you hit your little brother, whack, whack, whack, and they get spanked. So my wife goes, well, how do you teach somebody not to hit by hitting them? You're teaching kids to not do something wrong by doing something wrong. You're lying. And you're lying about something extremely serious. Not only are you lying about something serious, but the liar is somebody that you're supposed to trust. Oh, great point.
You're supposed to trust a cop. And believe everything they say and not doubt it for a second. So they're teaching you by lying to you? This is crazy, man. Why do you lie, liar? I don't understand. I say to myself, why do they think that that's okay? The thing that's weird is... What if it's really effective? That's what some people are going to say. Well, what if it's really effective? You know, it really teaches kids, you know, boy, it brings it home. Yeah, okay. But that doesn't mean that it's right to do. There's a line. There's an appropriate line. Yeah. And that's not appropriate. I remember kids were bawling and, you know, and there was all of us out there. like the whole school and kids were bawling because like my, when my, my best friend was one of the dead ones and she was on the hood. They believe that though, Ash, like there were kids that believe like the goofiness of getting called out of school and having them laying on a hood. They didn't believe, they didn't believe it. They just, it was so real looking and it freaked them out and made them sad. And so there's people just kids crying just to, just to see like what it could be like. I get that. It's pretty like gnarly. That is weird.
Because they weren't messing around. The phone lines are blowing up right now. They're like, Mikey, this has been going on for a while. Yeah. P1 Raver. Raver, are you there? I am. Go ahead. Actually, I already touched on it, but this whole program, they've done it in various forms throughout North County since, like, 2001. Like, I remember going to Vista High School. They did the whole car thing, and they also did the officer in the classroom gig. So it's been going on for a while. The officer what? In the classroom. Officer in the classroom. So maybe there's two different scenarios they do. How about the banana and the tailpipe? I don't fall for that. I'm not going to fall for no banana and no tailpipe. All right. Thank you. P1 Chelsea is on the line. Go ahead, Chelsea. Yeah, I went to Rancho, and they did the same thing, and they let us think all day that our friends were killed in a drunk driving accident the day before. We only knew that they were actually alive when we went out to the assembly and saw all the dead bodies on the car. Well, here's the reason that I think it's not necessarily the best idea. I remember when I was in high school, somebody actually died at drunk driving. They actually did die. It doesn't necessarily, it doesn't stop drunk driving. Hey, listen, if they did these demonstrations or whatever, and then you didn't hear drunk driving at that school again for four years, it just, you know.
Like you could base it with some data. You go, man, look at what happens when we do this and you just don't see any statistics anymore. Kids still drink and drive. That doesn't mean that you go, oh, well, it's still happening, so you should keep doing it. Well, it's still happening, so you shouldn't do anything about it. I absolutely think you should do something about it. Maybe educate. There's a way of educating about traumatizing. The lying. That's what I don't like. I don't like the idea of lying. Well, I remember at my high school what I thought was very effective is they actually brought a car that had been involved in a drunk driving accident. And they put it in the middle of the quad. And so, you know, it puts it in your face without the lying and the deception and actually thinking your friends are dead. You know? Yeah, they did that at my school. Yeah. Like, I thought that was... It is effective. Just as effective as what they did without, you know, making everyone suffer. And it's true. I mean, when they put it there, they could say, this is a car that was involved in a drunk driving accident. You could look at it and go, oh, that's terrible. Yeah. And it does bring it home. Yeah. The idea of saying, hey, your friend Eddie died, or hey, guys, Mike died, or something like that, that's weird. That's weird. It's creepy. It's creepy. It's weird. It's unnecessary. And it's lying.
I just don't get the idea of lying to the kids. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, this is P1 Ashley. What's up, Ashley? About the whole setup thing, it's more like a live-action red asphalt thing. Everybody in my school knew that it was fake, but just to see it like that, you know, it was dramatic like that. Well, when you say that everybody knew that it was fake, what do you mean? Like Ashley's scenario. Did they ever tell you beforehand that they were going to be doing this and for you to be ready and not to freak out, but that it was a demonstration? No, everybody knew. It was like they did it every year with all the seniors. They would call an assembly like that out to the football field where they would have everybody set up. And everybody knew it was going to be fake. Yeah, that's the thing. See, it's so different because they're not trying to hide that it's fake. This thing with the cop, it sounds like they're trying to hide that it's fake. They're trying to pass it off as real. And that's messed up. That's messed up. So kids are jacked up for an hour or however long it is. Yeah, that's not cool. Because the trauma itself is enough, I feel like, for the kids. To just see it is enough to get the message across. That's a weird thing, man. Yeah, that's creepy. And then the other thing that I wanted us to talk about before we split was this.
Uncontacted tribe in the Amazon. Dude. This is the trippiest thing ever. Yeah, check out these pictures on CNN or whatever. These pictures are all over the internet. I want to see. Is it like Apocalypto? Seriously, right? It's got to be. Yeah. Are the women topless? Sean! I think they are. Now, the picture is taken from a small plane up in the air, so it's kind of hard to, you know, see what's what, but basically... Is that a zoom lens? There's a few remaining tribes, you know, here on Earth that have never had any contact with the outside world. They have, like, no clue what the outside world is like. You know what, Skye, you know what's so strange about this picture of this tribe? What? There's still a Starbucks right there in the middle. There is no Starbucks. That's so weird how they still, they have that, though. No, and it's crazy because this little plane went overhead and took pictures, and as they're going overhead taking pictures, the dudes on the ground are pointing bow and arrows up at them. Oh, yeah. They're upset about having to pay for baggage now. Exactly. They're like, you know. So I don't know if they've never seen a plane before, if they don't know what's going on. A giant bird. Dude. That's so cool. Wow. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Are you guys looking at this? That's so gnarly. Why don't they leave them alone? Right? Well, they are. They're just taking pictures, right? Where are the topless ones? Shut up, Sean. Eddie, are you looking at this?
You got to come around because it's so small. That is such a trip. Wow. I wonder what would happen if you put them in the middle of Times Square. Wow. They're all red. Yeah. It looks like the men are maybe painted red and the women are painted blue or something. Oh, yeah. Whoa. Wow. Yeah. They say there's communal huts that they're living in. But they say that, you know, from the pictures, they appear healthy and strong. And what a trip, huh? They've got some rocking bodies, too. Sean, stop making it creepy, bro. No high-speed internet, they said out there. They haven't gotten any high-speed internet. Not yet. Not yet. That is so cool. They're still using dial-up. What about the iPhone? What? Do they have the iPhone? Just got the iPhone. But it's a year now. I mean, it came out January 07. Wow. And they're barely just getting it. Zeth stood in line for them, too. Oh, really? Man. Like, I wonder how they communicate. With a language. Probably have their own language. Yeah, with their mouths. With their feet. Ashley, you would be considered a goddess there. Really? Yeah. To meet them. Yeah, it would be really cool. They would paint your feet up and be like, you know. I don't have that much paint, Mike.
They seem really interesting to me. Yes. Ooga Booga is their language for prominent bones. Oh, I have that on my foot. Yeah. That is correct. We know. We do. That is a very, very cool story. Wow. So it's May 30th and all the Snakies are awake up in the mountains, man. We're starting to hear it all around our area, our neck of the woods. What do you mean you're hearing it? That people are starting to see them. Okay, so it's not like you're actually here in Rattlers. No, no. Okay. No, but they're starting to wake up. Harvey Korman passed away. We were talking about that. Some director is upset at Misha Barton because she's not going on the promotional stuff that she's supposed to. No, she did a movie for him, and she's pulled out of all her interviews, everything. They've even put her up in a hotel where she's supposed to be doing all these interviews, and they just can't get a hold of her. She should do the interviews, man. contractually obligated. Yeah. Yeah. I'm very against that. That's weak. I want people to... Weak. Bill Murray's wife claims that he's abusive and she filed for divorce. No way. His wife of 11 years says he abused her and is addicted to marijuana and alcohol. They were married 11 years. Eddie Murphy has signed on for Beverly Hills Cop 4. No. Nobody wants it. Why, Mike? Nobody wants it. I don't know any of this. Why? Nobody wants it.
I don't think so either, Eddie. Nobody wanted three. No. I do. Oh, Shawnee. I love three. I thought it was awesome. You would. Speaking of Sean, the director of multiple episodes of Star Trek has died. Sean? Sean, are you okay? Do you know who it is, Skye? Sean? Yes. Who is it? Joseph Peaveney. Oh, no, Sean. He directed 14 episodes. Makes a great guitar, right? Including? I got a Peaveney amp. He's the starting pitcher for the Padres. There you go, Jake Peveney. Including The City on the Edge of Forever. Never heard of it. That's the one where Kirk and Spock go back to the Depression. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Kirk and Spock go back to the Depression? You don't remember that one? When they wear the old gangster shoes? No, I don't. No, that's a different one. It is? Yeah. Oh, wow.
He also directed The Trouble with Tribbles. That's a great one. About waffles. He has passed away at the age of 96. Wow. Lived a long time. Lawyers for Britney Spears say that she is still not fit to take part in her court case. Yeah. So this is all in regards to her conservatorship. Am I saying that right? Well said. Where, you know, her dad is basically in charge of all of her estate right now. Your conservatorship is what defines you. And so her lawyer released a statement saying that her medical condition is still ongoing. She's still receiving treatment. And so she's not fit to take part in the court case and testify at this time. Donald Trump's trying to get Star Jones to be on the next Celebrity Apprentice. Oh, gosh. No. Well, she doesn't have anything else going on, right? She does not. She'd probably do really well. Yeah, she probably would. Be very annoying and all that stuff. Sharon Stone has been pulled from the Christian Dior ads in China, which is probably worth a ton of dough to her. Oh, yeah. Probably worth a ton of dough. Guess that apology didn't help her out too much. I'm telling you, man. That did not go over good with those people.
So let me get this straight. She was okay with appearing in commercials in China. Right. But... Yeah. He's taking a stand. Dude, I didn't even think of that. I mean, wait a second. I thought you... She hates the Chinese government. Like, and she was putting everybody in one big lump. Yeah. But then she'll do... Well, I'll do the ads because that's not the people that are causing the... Well, neither are the... The victims of the earthquake. Yeah. I said it was wrong. Oh, no. Wow. Let's see. New movies out today. We got two of them. What do we got? Sex and the City, the movie. No clips. We have no clips. I think we do, Eddie. It says that there's a Sex and the City theme. I didn't know that. Is it real recognizable? Like as soon as you hear it? Cut three. Oh, I know that. Isn't that like... What do they call that kind of music? Tango? The best. What is that? Awesome. Stupid. I thank you. Here's a clip of... Please.
Miranda questions whether Carrie should give up her apartment to move into a penthouse with Mr. Big, cut five. So he bought it and you'll live there. Oh, that's already annoying. But he'll own it, so you're keeping your own place, right? Oh, man, I haven't figured out the details yet, but I'm a smart girl. I'm sure I'll figure out something that I'm very comfortable with. I just want to be sure that you're being smart here. And I love you for that, but for now, don't worry for me and just go ahead and feel what I want you to feel. Sounds like a play. Oh, that was awful. By the way, I guess they have the Sex and the City movie theme. I don't know how much different it is. Cut four dollars. They've got to spend it somehow. I can. I can wait. Maybe my boyfriend will come with me. Oh my gosh, Mark. If you're listening, I love you, honey. If you're listening, I love you, honey. I love you so much. I love you as much as the movie. Probably more.
Thank you. Thank you. It was really, really not fun. Are you okay, Eddie? No. I think we're all done. Oh, and also out today, the strangers. Freaky little Tyler deal. That looks really scary. Yeah. 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone segment, so you can call in about anything. We're considering doing the show from Universal Studios for a day. Come on, Mike. What a world. Awesome. Come on, come on, come on, Mike. And we would take some listeners up there with us. Oh, my God. Yeah, we would. Party bus. Waterworld. Waterworld. The movie Waterworld. That was a bomb. What do you mean Waterworld? It's a huge thing up there. The Waterworld thing. The movie? No, they have the whole show. Why did they do that, Eddie? Why would they do a Waterworld show if that movie was so... Because it's awesome. All right. Okay. Awesome. My brother Sam is on the phone and wants to say happy birthday. What's up, Sammy?
Mikey, happy birthday, bro. Thank you, dude. Tomorrow is the big day. And today is what we call Guam Day. This was the day when I was 12 years old, Mom found my birth certificate and realized, nope, you were not born on the 30th. We will celebrate tomorrow. That is right. I remember when Mom told us that she was having another kid. Yeah. And we were all pissed. Still are. Oh, no. I'm serious. Everybody was pissed. I don't know why, but we were pissed. We figured that we had to fight for everything that we had with three. That's right. We sure didn't need a third, but it's been a blessing. It's been very cool. I don't know if the listeners know, but my older brother, Mark, and myself, we only really remember Mike as a little kid. Yeah. And going shooting, going hunting, stuff like that. Right. And I just remember my biggest memories of you were just what a sweet, innocent kid you were. Oh, wow. You weren't one of those kids that had an attitude or that was just a sports jock that just didn't care about anything but baseball. You were a kid that was really inquisitive and just the sweetest person. You just asked questions out of your heart. And I always thought...
You're the coolest little brother a guy could have. Oh, that's cool, Sammy. That's very sweet, man. I appreciate it. Sammy and I are going fishing tomorrow. Nice. Which, by the way, Sam, I got to ask you to be a big brother and spool my fishing pole because I don't know how. Well, like I said in the email, don't bring a pole for a reason. Oh, I wonder why. Oh, hold up. Hold up. Wait a minute. I got to reread that thing because I didn't see that on there. Oh, yeah. I know it. I know. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Just bring your fishing box if you've got one. I do not. What do I need? No, I did. And that's what I was going to go try to do today. So, Sammy, what do I need to put in? Hang on. I'm going to write it down. What do I need? What do I need?
I love you, man. I know it. You are such a little brother. I know it. I love you. It's the truth. Today, my plan is I got to go to Sports Chalet and I got to get the stuff. So what do I need, Sam? You know what is so cool, man? It's like out of all of the brothers, I think Mike has done the best. He's been the most successful. And it's very hard to do something as a big brother that's kind of like impressive. Wow, I was a big brother. Yeah. You just gave me that moment right now. Oh, that's cool. That's cool. Well, tell me, what do I need? What do I have to get? Well, you know, you don't have to get anything, really. Just have to get your license. Oh, yeah. And tomorrow when we get there, we'll buy the day use fee. Okay. Because we've got to pay to be able to use, you know, the facility when we go there. I get a license at Sports Chalet, right? Uh, yeah, I believe so. Okay. Yeah. And I mean, if you want to pick up, if you want to pick up like a little box and, you know, put the basics in there like sinkers and, you know, stuff like that, but, but don't worry about bringing a pole for some reason. So, uh, yeah, you know, and I've got, uh, I've got some bait sitting out on the fence right now, just rotting. Cause I hear that the huge catfish love stinky, stinky stuff.
Now, Sammy, is that what we're fishing for? No, no, there's all kinds of stuff. Actually, and I don't want to give away a lot of the surprises, but there's some huge trout there. There's some big bass. So we're going to try, you know, we're going to bring all the guns and see what we can get. Okay, cool. The last time when I took my daughter for the father-daughter fishing tournament in Girl Scouts, there was a guy that I talked to, and he said every time he goes there, he catches stuff. Sweet. Cheese, Mike. They like cheese. Do they like cheese? Yeah. Cool. And I did some homework today. I actually watched a fishing show. And, you know, so I'm trying to do my homework, and it got me all pumped up. Nice. Nice. Okay. You guys can have Ashley come over and cook it for you. No, no, no. I'm here. You need me. Her present to you guys. You just let me know. That is okay. Okay. You know, we'll just read about it on her blog. We'll read about it on her blog. All right, Mikey Show.com. There you go. All right, Sammy. I'll see you in the morning. I love you, man. Okay. All right, dude. I'll talk to you later. We'll see you. Bye, Sam. That's my brother, Sammy. Take a couple phone calls and we got to wrap it up. P1 Peaches.
Hi, Peaches. Hi, guys. How's it going? Good. How you doing? Good. Thanks. First of all, I want to wish you a happy birthday. Oh, thank you. Happy birthday. Thank you. Happy birthday. And also, I just wanted to say, I tried to call in yesterday, but I wanted to say that the sumo wrestling challenge yesterday was absolutely rad. Watching Eddie totally annihilate Rob and slam his face and sit on his face, press it right into the mat. It was awesome. It was such a blast. It was pretty hysterical. Oh, my God. It was awesome. And watching Eddie dry home sky in a geisha outfit was pretty cool, too. Wow. That was not really what happened. She was firing me up. Thank you very much. I think everyone has a little twisted. Thank you, peaches. Boston Rob is on the phone. Get an update on what's going on with Rob. Rob, what's going on? You want to hear the laundry list, the stuff I need to get done in my teeth? Oh, wow. You know, when you showed me your teeth, I thought I could physically see a cavity on one of your teeth. Yeah, well, I got three of those. Oh, boy. I need another root canal on the tooth I had a root canal on. Oh, man. I got a cyst and an abscess on two impacted wisdom teeth. Oh, my. Dude.
I'm like, I'm going, I'm just leaving there now, but I mean, the guy was great, and I'm on like 1,600 milligrams of ibuprofen to take that pain away, because I couldn't even focus on him when I was laying there in the chair. This is some kind of pain that I, it's probably like giving birth, that's what I imagine. With your teeth? Yes, with teeth. So what's going to happen? I had to make a point. Like, he gave me some medication for the weekend to get me through. I got to come back Monday. I'm going to be here about three or four more times in the next week and a half. No way. Yeah, not good. Noss your teeth, kids. Yeah, no kidding. Loss. Yeah, please. So, Rob, so you're going to start taking care of it and getting stuff done next week? Oh, yeah, yeah, Monday. Okay. Three o'clock, I'm back there. But, yeah, don't forget to brush, kids. You know, eight, nine years of not going to the dentist is not healthy. Yeah. Oh, my gosh, Rob. We're praying for you, brother. Thank you, guys. Happy birthday, Mike. I love you guys. And I wish I was there. I wish I wasn't doing what I'm doing. Yeah, yeah. Where are you now? Are you going to go in and get anything done right now? No, I just thought they can't do nothing right now because I need to get more x-rays. And it is a mess, as they say. Oh, man.
They don't just say it in France. They do. They just say it in France. No, right now I've got to go to CVS and pick up some more medicines. I'm on antibiotics to cut down the inflammation and there's an infection. It is not good. All right, dude. Well, I hope you feel better and you're in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you, guys. All right, dude. He's like a goat. He's chewing on aluminum cans and all this garbage. And he's also like a goat because Sky gives him to foreign countries. That is true. That is another way. I've heard that. P1 Sean? Yeah, I have to invoke man rules here. Okay. With the Sex and the City movie. Go ahead. This is one of those movies where every guy has the authority and the right and the moral obligation to just say no. I agree. I would agree with you. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying I will not see X and the city. It's for you ladies. You ladies, you can love it. You can love it, but we'll love it from afar. We'll love it because they love it. Yes. But we'll love it from home in the living room. And we'll watch it with them, but we're going to call it basketball. Thank you for the call.
I appreciate it. P1 Danielson, go ahead. Last call. Bring us home. Hey, what's going on, man? I just wanted to let you know I was one of the P1s out at Carlsbad yesterday at the boxing club. And it was my first time seeing you guys in person. I've been listening to you guys for about five years now. I've followed you down from the toilet bowl of San Jose, California. And I just wanted to say you guys' personalities are just as rad in person as you guys are on the air. It was really cool watching you guys for four hours. You guys are just as funny in person as you guys are on the air. So it was kind of cool to see that. And I just wanted to let you all guys know that your personalities rock in person just as much as they do on the air. So congratulations, man. I think that's really cool. Thank you, brother. We appreciate it, man. Thank you. I accept. Very nice. That was very nice of him to say. Yes. At the end of the show, on Friday, I give my testimony. I tell you a little bit about my past. how things used to be for me, and then how things changed for me. It was so cool to hear my brother call in and say the stuff that he was saying. I think that he's right. I was a very innocent kid. I was a very innocent kid. Sometimes when I tell you the story about my past, some people may hear it and they go, man, my story's a lot worse than that. And some people may hear it and they go, yeah, I didn't have that stuff happen to me and I'm glad.
So everybody's story you always have to remember is relative. I can only tell you how it affected me. I was a victim of sexual abuse when I was little. When I was 10 or 11 years old, there were some aspects of my life that I feel may have been maybe the best intentions. Neglectful. And that's just life, man. That's just life. We try to do the best we can and sometimes things happen. But I always believe that... Things happen with me for a reason. When I was in my teenage years, like a lot of us, man, I had a lot of feelings of low self-esteem, insecurity. When you put all of those different things together and you put me in my 20s, addicted to alcohol and I was using drugs and stuff like that. When I got to be in my early 30s, it had been going on for many years by that time. So when I was in my early 30s, I was addicted to it. I was addicted to alcohol. But there was other stuff going on too.
I had let all that stuff, all that hurt, anger, and all that stuff that I had inside of me, I had a lot of hurt and a lot of anger from when I was a kid. And I just masked it with alcohol. If I masked it, then nobody had to know about it, and nobody had to know that I was a broken person. I didn't want anybody to know how broken I was. I was embarrassed of it. I was kind of humiliated by this stuff. That's what shame really is. And I was very shameful, very ashamed. I was drinking so much that I knew that I was going to die very young. I knew that I would be very young and I was going to kill myself by doing this stuff because I was just doing too much of it. I get sick and then I go drink and then I get sick and go drink. Nobody really knew the extent of it. Well, one night, Jesus Christ had come into my life.
And to change it. And he did. And today, he's continuing to do stuff in my life for me. He died. His spirit, the ghost, his spirit, is inside of me. And he's doing work on me even today. Making me a different person. Definitely a different person than I used to be. My life, I have a genuine happiness that I didn't have before. And a love for my little boy and for my wife. I have a little boy and a wife and I wouldn't have had those things if I never would have had Christ come into my life the way that he did. And that's why I tell people about it on Friday mornings. That's what my testimony is, is telling people about it. And every time I do, man, I get nervous, nervous right now. I'm nervous. The reason that I tell you about it is because I know that there are people that are listening this very moment, driving in their car.
Right now you're listening in this very moment or maybe you're at home or maybe you're out exercising or something you have little earbuds in. And there's something that you heard that you can relate to, whether it's that you're addicted to something or maybe it's that you have a secret or maybe it's that you're doing something that you don't want to be doing and nobody knows about it. Maybe it's one of those things and there was something in what I said that you can relate to and you go, yeah, that sounds like me. I tell you this story because I want you to know that for me, when I accepted Jesus Christ into my life to do all this stuff and do all this work, everything changed for me. All of that stuff, even to this day, is being made new, shined up. It's an amazing, amazing thing. I have a space on my webpage that I want you to go to. Go to MikeyShow.com. And if you type in the keyword help,
It'll take you to this beautiful website that'll give you resources and ways that you can get help with addictions or if you're struggling with looking at pornography or if you have an eating disorder or if you have any of these things going on, there are resources there to be able to help you with it. Just type in the keyword help. And also, I give a much more detailed and longer version of my testimony and I do it at churches and programs. And so there's a space on there now that says speaking engagements. And if you're the decision maker for having things like that take place at your church or program, you can go there and sign up and tell me in a few words what it's about. And maybe I can come and share my story with you. I would love to do that.
We play a song at the end of the show on Fridays and the song is so hopeful. Listen to the words to the song. Really listen to the lyrics to the song because it's an incredible song about hope. It's by a band called Third Day. And if you're going through any of those pains or any of those struggles or there's something that's happening in your life right now that's breaking your heart, really listen to the words to the song because there is hope. And that's why we play the song on Friday mornings. This song is called Tunnel. Lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. Warm Friday with Missy. We'll see you again on Monday morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out.
