6-0-8. We get to go vote today. Today is the statewide primary election. Well, the Padres welcome the Major's best team in the town, the Cubbies, and the Cubs, of course, won. They beat the Padres 7-6. Oh, wow. Don't be surprised there. Yeah. I voted before, Sky. I had the little... It wasn't a card. It was a card, but it was big. It wasn't like a card, like a credit card-sized card that I had for voting. And so I'm wondering... Do I go back to the same house that I went to? You didn't get stuff in the mail? Maybe I did and Rebecca just didn't tell me. Is it the pamphlet thing? Yeah, you get that pamphlet thing and then on the back it tells you where you go vote. I wonder if it's going to be the same place. It probably is. Mine is the same place. I mean, it normally is. But you guys don't vote for the mayor and stuff, right? No, because we're not San Diego residents. We're North Countians. So it's just boring.
Yeah, what's on there besides that? Well, there's two statewide propositions, both having to do with eminent domain, and then there's a bunch of, you know. Eminent domain sounds so grown up, man. It does. It sounds so grown up. And then there's a bunch of, you know, like. offices that, you know, I don't really... Is Eminent Domain that thing where, like, you live somewhere a bunch of years and somebody comes in and they want to build a freeway there and you're like, no, you can't. Or they want to put hotels up or something. No, it was actually the star of the Carol Burnett show. Oh, yeah. Her name is Eminent Domain. Yes. She was great. She was really good. Yeah. Mike, you are correct. Them being able to take your property. No, I thought she was on the Carol Burnett show. And so what the deal is, is, you know, people aren't a fan of the fact that they can take your home to build a hotel or Petco Park or whatever.
They think it's okay to take the home if you need to build a new freeway or a new school or something with infrastructure, but not for a shopping center, not for a ballpark, not for a hotel. Right. So that's what you're voting about today. Wow. How do you feel about that, Sky? I agree. I don't think they should be able to take our property so big business can make more money. Even if it does, some people argue, well, it brings more money to the city if you have a nice big hotel or a shopping center. It makes the city all beautiful. Yeah, I don't care. Put it in an open field somewhere. Unless you need to build a freeway or something, get out of my business. I could see how people would feel that way. Hey, it's mine. Yeah. Or it's my grandma and she's, you know. Right. And I don't want to have to move her. And she didn't want to have to move. And she loves this place. I understand. But like Eddie said, if you're living in the city of San Diego today, you're voting for mayor, city attorney, as well as a bunch of other offices. Do we have any of that stuff, I wonder, up in North County? Like, is there a Vista mayor, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Escondido? I don't believe...
I don't believe San Marcos is voting for a mayor, because remember, they just did that last time when I was standing on the street corner. Escondido. Whoa, Sky. Hey, hello. Remember, I was... I was been inside helping my mom. Has gone too far. You're a married woman. These sons do that. Have called the cops. That's right. Escondido is not, because I went through my pamphlet, and it's like, you know, state assembly person, blah, blah, blah. On the street corner? Shut up. But I don't know about the other cities in North County. Well, let's see. Let's get the phone lines ringing. 570-1053. You can also text us at 35253. We would love to hear from you in either situation, phone call or text message. Text messages that get read on the air, clever, funny. Yesterday, Zeth got a ton of text messages, but he couldn't put very many through to me because there just were not. Any clever ones. Well, Seth. So let's get some text messages going. 35253. They're just interesting. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. And I am 38. And I live here in San Diego County. And I swing conservative Republican. That's the way that I go. And I shave my head. I have a...
High school reunion this year that a friend of mine wrote me about yesterday. I had to say, no, thank you. Listen, I appreciate the offer. I totally support you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I don't I don't want to go. I don't want to go. You know, there's some embarrassment on my part for, you know, a fool of myself. I made with, you know, a couple of women in high school trying to garner their affections. And so, you know, seeing them now would be embarrassing. Like they would look and go, oh, that's the guy that called Lutt. You know, and rather not relive that portion of my growth. And so I said, you know, oh, all right, then I'll get off. But so I'm not going to that. I didn't go to my tenure either. Eddie, have you got one coming up at any time? In 2011. 2011. But I won't go either. You will not go. No. Why will you not go? I don't care about those people. No? Say whatever. Que sera, sera. I hung out with you basically in my high school years. We've already reunited. Yeah, that's right. We've already reunited. That's so good. That's right. Eddie is 35 years of age.
He is in his 30s. He is what they geared the show 30-something about. No, that's not. Yeah, yeah. They geared it after you. Those are like adults. Real quick, we're going to introduce everybody, then we're going to come back around. 570-1053 is a phone number. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He's 35. Sky's our news girl. She is 30. Sean does sound effects for us. He's 38. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years old. Boston Rob is our sound effects guy. He's a singer-songwriter. Nice. And, yeah, he's wearing a Celtics jersey. Thank you. That's crazy. Well done, man. And then there is Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates, the third junior Esquire. And he is 23 years of age. Eddie just rolled his eyes. I don't even know why. What's the eye roll, Eddie? Why? I don't know. You want to hear what Zeth was up to yesterday? Yes.
Worked till about 10. Woke up this morning feeling like I want to throw up. Still kind of feel it, but it seems to be getting better. Pregnant. He is seriously like an 80-year-old man. He's got back pain. Wakes up with nausea. Sleeps all day. Seth, what do you think it is? Wait a minute. That's just for funsies, though. Seth, what do you think is going on with the back, the sleep, the... I don't know, man. The nausea, the... Pregnant. Maybe. I don't know what's going on. It sucks, though. Yeah. Get that figured out. You should go to the dentist with Rob. I need insurance. That is true. Eddie officially is in escrow. What up? Wow. Panic. Panic. What does panic? I don't know. I'm panicking. I'm panicking. Why? This is a big purchase. Yeah, but it's an awesome purchase. I'm freaking out. I'm in panic mode right now. It's like you just found a bar of gold. I want to back out. No. No, you do not.
Here's the deal with it. Don't joke like that. Here's the deal with it. When the bank gives you the money, you got to give the bank the money back. I don't like that part, Mike. Did you guys know that? I found that out like a year after they gave it to me. Vegas trip. Because I was saying to the bank, I was like, oh my gosh, you guys are so nice. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you. And then my wife was like. I go, how can we keep making that payment to them? Yeah, what's that about? She's like, well, we got to give it back. I'm like, oh. That's weak. Indian givers? So, did you get a close date? It looks like it's going to be the first. Oh, my. Panic, see? That's awesome. This is awesome. Eddie, July the 1st is like close. This is awesome. That's when I need to get to my place. This is going to be over real quick. Then they're going to give you a key and then that's going to be yours. I don't want it. You do. I'm going to stay in the condo. You do. I'll stay there by myself. What are you doing? Selling the condo or what are you going to do? No, I got to keep it. You're going to keep it? Yeah, that's not what I paid for. You're going to rent it to people? Yeah, probably Budweiser. No way. I think Blunder may move in.
Say again, Sean. I said, good luck getting your money. Oh, come on. I know where it works. That is bloody bad. Garnish. Can you believe that? You're a good homeowner. Yeah. I love it, man. And it's nice, too, man. Oh, yeah. I think Usher lived there before. It's so nice. Yeah. Dream house. It really is. You just kind of got lucky. It's the right time to buy and all that stuff. It was you and little E from NASCAR that were bidding on it at the same time you won. Yeah, well, he doesn't win anything these days. That's true. Let's see. 570-1053 is the number. P1 Daddy's on the line. Hello. Hey, Mikey. Hey. You guys were talking about eminent domain. I just wanted to say a good example of that was in 1957 when the Dodgers moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. The city of Los Angeles used eminent domain to kick mostly Mexican immigrants out of their houses in Chavez Ravine to build Dodger Stadium. Really? Yeah. Didn't know that. Yeah, I think it was like a 10-year thing. Oh, Mike, you want to use some kind of coconut? No.
Oh, no. How do you not know about this? That's Oscar. He's a Mexican. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's a Mexican that is here in the studio at all times. And he will usually stay quiet eating his morning breakfast. I eat the burritos. Why? Because I'm Mexican. That's right. Unlike you. That's right, Oscar. Bring over there. I'm not eating it. Bring your French toast. I'm not a gringo, though. You're croissant. I don't do that. You're a coconut, man. You should be eating a burrito with me. Wait a minute. Wait. You say I'm a coconut just because I don't speak Spanish? You don't speak Spanish. You don't eat the salsa on everything. Wait a minute. But don't you think it's unusual that you eat salsa on everything? It's not unusual. I'm Mexican. Yeah, dude. You're a coconut. All right. You should know about the dog. Dodgers kicking out the Mexicans. All right, all right. I should know about that. You knew about that, Austin. Of course, man. It meant a lot to you. Yeah, I hate the Dodgers. Is that why you hate them? That's why I hate them. You hate them because they kicked everybody out of Chavez Ravine, right? Hey, why are you laughing, man? I'm not. Nothing's funny. Nothing's funny. Nothing's funny. I'm laughing because you're eating ice cream with salsa on it. It's delicious.
That's an Oscar. P1 Dogwalkers on the line. Hi, Mikey. Hi. I just wanted to wish Zeth happy anniversary since he's been on my show for a year and wondered, is he still excited about it as he was last year at this time? Let me tell you something. If it's true that he has actually been on the show for one year and you know that, I am a little, you know, I'm wondering what's going on there. I'm wondering how exactly. You know that. And then you know what you're up to. Is that true? Has he really been on the show for one year? Yes. Really? How do you know that? Because it said Zeth won Apprentice on my calendar for June 1st. I see. I see. Is this... It's hot. Is this somebody Zeth knows? Say it again? Zeth, is this somebody that you know? Yeah. Who is it? My mom. Oh. How about that? I thought I did, too. I thought I did, too. It's Zeth's mom. Eddie's looking at Zeth. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Listen, moms are the sweetest in the world. They have no idea what, you know, embarrassment they bring upon their kids. They really don't. Just wait. Just wait, mom, until the microphones are off or not. I mean, even before then.
When the comments from Eddie start to fly over to your son, the waving has begun. I'm in big trouble. That's right. That's right. You're sweet. That's right. I know my baby. I know. Look at Seth. Look at Seth. He wants to die. He just wants to die. I'm going to get in trouble. Let's make it good. Hey, Seth, adjust your skirt, man. Wow. Oh, my. She doesn't even realize. Well, that's very, very sweet of you. And I'm sure Seth appreciates it somewhere in that angry heart. No, he doesn't. No, I bet he doesn't either. I was just saying it. All right, Ma. Thank you. Thank you. We'll see you. That's mom.
You're precocious. Happy anniversary. You're the gold star today. That's right. The crust's off your little sandwich. You're just the sweetest little guy. Bunch of jerk. P1 Sour Note is on the line right now. How's it going? Good. If you guys have any information on Johnny Five, he's supposed to make an appearance at the Guitar Center in La Mesa today. And I was wondering if you guys knew about that. What is Johnny Five? He is the robot from Short Circuit. Oh, my gosh. I love that movie. I don't remember that. I keep a lie. Why are they bringing that thing back? Who's Johnny? Who's Johnny? Why are they bringing that thing back? I don't understand. Apparently, he plays guitar now, Mike. I didn't know that. Guitar Center today. Yeah, that's cool. What did you guys do? What time? So, okay. Now, Eddie's right, right? It's the robot from that movie? Short Circuit. Short Circuit. And Short Circuit 2. You're saying no, it is not. What? Oh, okay. Well, then what is Johnny Five? Johnny Five is Rob Zombie's guitar player. It is? Yeah, he used to play with Katie Ling and Marilyn Manson, I believe. Oh, wow. You're really a fan. Wow. Wow. I don't know any of this, actually.
Really? I do not. I will not be there. You don't? Okay, I got it. Sky's got it. He will be at the Guitar Center in La Mesa on Murray Drive at 6 p.m. tonight. Oh, great. I knew somebody had to have some information. There you go. You can find that on johnny-5.com on his website. Have a great morning. Yeah, you betcha. Who knew? Hey. Who knew? Short circuit. Yeah, that's right. Do you guys know someone named P1 Scooby? Because he is online, ladies and gentlemen. He's precious to me. Do you believe what your team did to the Mexicans? Scooby, you should be ashamed of yourself. You're a Dodger fan. And due to eminent domain, they kicked your people out of Chavez Ravine just so that they could build that stinking ballpark. They're your people too, Mikey. I know. That's why I'm ashamed of the Dodgers. I am deeply ashamed of the Dodgers. That's why I root. It's all for the greater good. That's right. The greater good. I root for the Padres where they probably kicked out rich white people when they built that ballpark. Actually, homeless people. Okay, well. Maybe not then. Get rid of those fools. Scooby, what are you calling about? Well, present company excluded.
Padre fans, I must say, are pretty pathetic. Oh, no. Scooby's a Dodger fan, just so you know. Just so you know. Now, why do you say this, Scooby? Dude, last night after I watched my Dodgers beat, um, who they were playing? Oh, yeah, the Rockies. You don't even know who they were playing. Right. Just like a Dodger fan. It's the two, right? After they won. Right. I changed it over to Channel 4 to watch the end of the Cubs-Padres game. Uh-huh. And it was about the seventh-eighth inning, and the Cubs were making plays. And I swear that that crowd was cheering more for the Cubs than they were for the Padres. And that's pretty sad. Well, welcome the Cubs to town. And same thing will happen when the Red Sox come here and when you get those travel teams that travel real good. I understand that, but still, you know, exactly. Exactly for that reason, the Cubs are in town. The Padre fans should go out there in force to represent their team, but I didn't. I agree. They snap up the tickets. What are we supposed to do? Let's dig up. That's funny. Let's dig up. Because no Cubs fans go to Dodger games. That's right. Give me a break. Give me a break with that. They do. Yeah, they do. Now what?
The Cubs fans are there. I've been there. Oh, we got disconnected. We got disconnected. I don't know what happened. Oh, those phone lines are just so, so terrible. P1 Quiggy's on the line. Hey, what's going on, guys? What's up? Not much. Hey, I was wondering what everybody thought of some of the fights over the weekend. Are you talking about the MMA stuff on CBS Saturday night? Not only that one, but the Uriah Faber-Genz Pulver fight on Sunday also. And you are a dude. Hello. You are a dude. Eddie, do you know about those? Absolutely. The WEC on Versus was on Sunday. Great fights. WEC is MMA as well. It's kind of like the UFC's minor leagues almost. Yeah. You know, they're owned by Zufa, who owns the UFC. And it's great. I mean, they put on an awesome card. Yeah, that was probably the greatest fight of the year so far. Look at you. You're a big into it, man. Fair enough. Cool. Thank you for the call. No problem. Appreciate it. Would you guys like to know what Sean's wife made for dinner last night?
It's a safe place. I want to remind everybody. What is going on in that house? Vegetarian Joe again, is it? A healthy Joe. It was called healthy Joe. Yeah, it was a healthy Joe. Sloppy Joe's made out of Brussels sprouts. It sounded great. No, it was a whole wheat bun. No more of this. Carrots and curling. Bell peppers. Garlic, bell peppers. Disgusting. All of that with vinaigrette. Sounds good. Vinaigrette? Yeah, it was pretty good. Oh. So here's what she made last night. Steamed rice with French fries with barbecue sauce for dipping and lemongrass and pork egg rolls. So enjoy. And amen. Dig in. We have a lot in the refrigerator. Dig in. Eddie's looking at Sky right now and they're communicating silently. They're mouthing words to each other that they understand. They're like worthless words. But no one else can understand, but they understand. And the looks on Eddie and Sky's faces were, well, what's the matter with them? You know, are they poor? Well, yeah. I mean, it's like they're raw. They're homeless. What is it? Go through it. Either go grocery shopping or eat out. Yeah. So were they rummaging? Is that the deal? Something's wrong. You know, it came out pretty good, believe it or not. Just the stuff the neighbors threw away? Oh, no.
It wasn't like that at all. As individual parts, it sounds fine, but together as a whole, as a meal, is there something wrong with you? Well, no. I grant you that it was a little bit unorthodox, but it was very tasty. Yes, it sounds delicious. Especially the lemongrass and the barbecue sauce for dipping. Well, I mean, you don't put the egg rolls in the barbecue sauce. No, just like you wouldn't put the steamed rice with the barbecue sauce. It goes all in your belly. Although the barbecue sauce on the rice was pretty good. Oh, I bet. If you've never tried it, I would suggest it. I have not tried it, and I turned down the suggestion. But I do thank you for making it. It's your loss. All right. 570-1053 is the number. Text number is 35253. That sounds unusual. I will say that. Ashley has a pretty funny little deal here. Well, she wanted to go shopping, and as you know, she likes to go to these Italian places, sometimes down in Little Italy. Right. Remember last time she told us about it, she was driving the wrong way down a one-way street. It is the same story. Same story? Mona Lisa? Mm-hmm. She got a little lost down there, you know, last time. I wasn't aware it was a one-way street. I mean, there's signs everywhere, Mike. I turned down it. Yeah, yeah, she didn't see them. She didn't see them. She didn't see them. But they're on every...
And then I realized once I turned the thing from the traffic was when it clicked. Because they're everywhere. Yeah, that's right. Well, the guy yelled at you. That was after I realized, Eddie. I was already backing up. Oh, my bad. I wouldn't do that if I were you, lady. That's right. You, lady. That's what he said to us. I'm sure he said it just like that. I'm backing up. I figured it out. That's right. Thanks for your help. Well, yesterday she went to that little place and she ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. And she also got those assortment of those little Italian cookies, right? And she also got some focaccia bread. There you go. See, she's really good. She's picking it up. So in her email to me, she says that she asked the teller. There's a bank in there? She was at a bank? Is that not the proper terminology? No, that's the person at a bank, actually. I would think she asked the cashier, right? You would think, but you never know. She asked the teller, who was very Italian. In fact, everybody in the store was, if he had any tiramisu. And he said yes at the restaurant next door, and he handed her a menu. So she figured, what the heck? I got a little time.
She bagged the sandwich and went into the little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, ordered a cup of minestrone soup, tiramisu by herself, and enjoyed it. And it was really awesome. And she eavesdropped on Italians that were sitting on the table next to her that were very entertaining. She couldn't really understand them. She just heard a lot of mancha and bellucha over and over again. And that was her. No, it was more like mancha. Beluche. Beluche. Beluche. Over and over. I heard that a lot. Yeah. Because they were speaking in Italian. Could it have possibly been mangia? Yes. That's what it was. That's what it was. They said that word a lot. She heard it a lot. Beluche. You know. Such a cool language. I'm like, wow, these people really exist with, like, the big hands and the big kisses. The big hands. Big hand movements, you know, and they're like, oh, kiss, kiss. I mean, just very vivacious. There's a lot of energy. I love it. I don't like this. I'm uncomfortable. Well, you know, listen, that part of Ashley's day sounded like a lot of...
Fun, you know. It was really awesome. It really sounded very, very, you know, delicate, petite, you know, very feminine. They're cute. Can you imagine this? Thank you. Cute blonde girl, you know. And I mean, Ashley is your traditional Southern California gal. Yeah. She's beautiful. She's got blonde hair. She's young. She went to San Diego State. She's very tan and attractive. Well, she went home. And. decided, you know what, I think it's time for yoga. Let me read from her message to me. Mike, I went to yoga and I was sweating so much I was spitting. It was gross. Then I came home, took Sammy for a walk and went to bed. She was sweating so much that she was spitting and it was gross.
spitting everywhere. I don't get it. I don't know. It was like the sweat dripping. This is what happens because you're, let's say you're in a downward dog. So like you're bent over and you're doing the breathing. I get you. Yeah. Because it is hard. It is hot. I am sweating so much that the sweat is just pouring into my mouth and then I'm going, oh. spit everywhere. Come on. And I can't stop breathing and I can't sweating. And so it's just spit everywhere and I'm in my downward dog. I'm sure you burn a lot of calories. Oh, yeah. Please tell me you took a shower. Of course I did. Eddie, what are you? I know how you are. Please, of course I did. That's right. Well, she's told us before that sometimes she doesn't do that. Sometimes I'll take a bubble bath and then shower in the morning. Well, Ash, listen. In other words, she makes Ashley soup. She's so gross, man. Well, she has told us. She says, you guys don't understand because you're not from my generation. But girls my age, 24, they take baths like two, three times a week. It's cool. Well, they just don't wash their hair. A lot of my friends and myself included don't wash our hair very often because it dries it out. What about you, Skye? I wash my hair every other day. What about bathing? What do you mean? How often do you bathe?
once a day. That's a good idea, Sky. That's a good idea. That's appropriate, actually. Appropriate. It's a good thing you're not from the generation Ashley's in. She says they, she says girls her age, you know, they're busy. They're on the run. They're like, you know, you think that Carrie Bradshaw necessarily bathes every day? She's got stuff going on. Tyreen is overrated. That's right. It's overrated. It is. 35253 is the text. And she Let's see. 5701053 is our text number. Here's what we have on the show today. First of all, I want to tell you about how there was another great white spotting in Southern California. I'll tell you exactly where it was. It's the same shark. What are you talking about? It's clear it's the same shark. It does an Acapulco, that one. It's traveling back and forth. Same shark. There it is. They go all over the place. And then we're also going to be doing something called Wuss Rock Jukebox today. Oh, yeah.
Got an email about a couple of girls that are going to be getting married. You know, they got that new thing here in California. It's unconstitutional to tell them they can't get married. And so we got an email about it. So we'll get into that. And a lot more. Brian Regan in the Stand-Up Spotlight. Stand-Up Spotlight 105.3. My parents didn't know what to do with me. They got me in the Little League baseball. I played out in right field because I stunk. But you don't know. You just show up, you know. I got my glove. You any good? I don't know. My mom told me to come out here. We'll get out in right field. Okay. Turn around, you moron. Oh, okay. Not the whole way. Oh, only some. Some way. I never knew what was going on out in right field. All I knew is at the end of the game, I'd get a free snow cone. That's all I knew. Be out there. Oh, free snow cone. Free snow cone. Brian, what's the score? Free snow cone. Stupid is the

Boston Robb. Everybody enjoys a good thumbs up once in a while. That's right. And Ashley. I'm a very messy person. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Welcome back to the show. It is 644. Actor Kelsey Grammer suffered a mild heart attack over the weekend. USD got beat in the regional final by Fresno State, 5-1, season over. Hey, don't forget, on Thursday,
Boston Rob becomes Ashley's slave for the entire show. We did a contest last week, last Thursday, and the contest was a parody song contest where they both wrote a parody song. Listeners then voted, called in which one they liked the best, and Ashley won. Loser had to be the other's slave. And so that means Boston Rob's doing it. Ashley, have you been thinking about this? Do you know what you're going to have him doing? I have been thinking about it. Really? Yeah. Have you got some stuff planned for him? Yeah. Because he's at your beck and call. He's at your service. Yeah, it's kind of a dream come true. Anything you want. Anything you want. Yeah. Now, this includes things that he needs to say to you. It includes things that he needs to do for you. Tasks. It could be anything. Yeah, I really can't wait. Text message number is 35253. And here are some of the text messages we're getting. Hey, Mikey, it's P1BigK. Is there any proposition on the ballot of converting Petco Park into a football stadium to keep the Chargers and get rid of the Padres? Now, that is an interesting question. That is an interesting question. I don't know that there is. I don't know that there is. Why do we have to get rid of the Padres? Right. Mikey.
Barbecue on rice is way dank. P1, a feral cat that has already eaten its own tail off in a fit of hunger. So there you go, Sean. I don't know if that was really making a good impression on the P1s. Let's see. Hey, Mikey, is Sean's wife taking cooking lessons from Ash? Oh, what is that all about? Wow, Sean, why would that be offensive? I don't understand. because she makes terrible, terrible food. And my wife cooks really good. I'm not, I'm just stating facts. Wow. Hey, Mikey, my girlfriend's 23. She showers every day. Has nothing to do with Ashley's generation. I call shenanigans. That's P1 Welder Boy. Don't know about that one, Ash. Maybe it's just me and all of my friends. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I think that a lot of girls are self- You and the stink crew? But I think a lot of girls are self-conscious. Like, they think that people will judge them or think they're gross by them saying that, so they will never admit it, which makes them, you know, that's their route that they want to take. Yeah. Which is fine. I have no problem admitting it. Like, that's me. I don't care. Take it or leave it. It's a generational thing. What are you going to do? I'm going to tell my boyfriend, you know? Oh, my gosh. Take it or leave it.
If you're out there somewhere. I love him so much. Mark, I love you so much. So another great white shark. Not another. Eddie says it's the same one. It's the same shark. You're going to need a bigger boat. Solana Beach to northern Mexico to southern Mexico and now. Do you know how far. Oh, I know. Great whites can travel. Well, I know. So why would it not be the same shark? Well. He's feeding. I mean. Maybe that's the deal. Well, I mean, but there's a lot of food everywhere. Yeah, but this one likes. I don't know why he needs to travel so much. This one likes this path. It likes going from California. Right. There are a lot of them out there. People de gallo. That's right. People de gallo. He's eating people de gallo. You know what I'm saying? Okay. It could be. It could. You see those proportions on that billboard back there? Well, they are correct. You see, this is a perfect machine, okay? It does two things. It makes little sharks, and it eats.
That's all I remember. That's good. That's all I remember. From the film Jaws. That was Richard Dreyfuss's lines. So this one was sighted in Dana Point. This one? This sighting happened up in Dana Point, which is, you know. Very close. And I am not going to stand here and see that thing cut open and see that little Ketner boy spill out all over the dock. About 2.30 on Sunday by the skipper of a whale-watching charter boat who says that he believes the Great White was about 15 feet in length. Oh, that's big. That's big. This is not the time or the place to perform some kind of autopsy on a fish. Same size as the shark that attacked the guy here. Yes, approximately. Damn it, Martin. You're going to need a bigger boat. Tanks are filled with compressed air. Well said. Well, there it is. Dana Point. Mr. Hooper. Sky said it. Kelsey Grammer had a heart attack. He's okay, though. He's okay. Yeah, Frazier. Frazier? Frazier? Frazier Crane?
Yeah, it happened over the weekend while he was paddleboarding with his wife in Hawaii and started to experience symptoms of a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital, was resting comfortably. His spokesperson says he's unaware of any prior heart trouble but did acknowledge the fact that Kelsey Grammer did have a pretty big cocaine problem back in the day and that can do some damage. Does damage to the aorta? Yeah. Ask Eddie. He's a doctor. Eddie, what do you know about the effects of cocaine on the heart? Speak on it. I'm not a doctor. Yes, you are a doctor. Yes, you are. Guys, I'm not a doctor. You're a cardiologist, actually. I know it makes you sweat. Wow. Maybe that's something that could be gone. Shut up. My diagnosis is? Sweat. Cocaine. That's right. Speaking of, Scott Weiland is apparently unsteady. I find that hard to believe. While performing at an STP show. Oh, no. Yeah, it's already started. But it's been two and a half minutes. Thank you. Yeah, STP. That STP's been back together. Right, a day and a half. Scott, do you remember what I asked to anger?
The DeLeo brothers. Do you remember? Yeah. I mean, well, I don't remember verbatim. What the question was? But it was basically something about the fact of, hey, because Scott was clean at the time that you asked this question. He had just gotten clean. Yes, he had just gotten clean, and you said something to the effect of, well, hey, how would it be if you guys need to go through this again? If Scott relapses, how is that going to be on you guys? How is that going to affect the band? He didn't appreciate that. Robert DeLeo. He made Scott Weiland mad, too. Crazy. Remember? He hung up on us. Yeah. Well, which is interesting. The whole STP band. You're just all over him. Yeah. Well, that's interesting in regards to this story because they say... They all have a problem with the Mikey show. Oh, no. Well, what happened, according to witnesses at the show backstage, people in the entertainment business, the way they're saying is basically, so Scott Weiland finally comes out on stage like an hour late, an hour after they're supposed to go on. That's not good. He's stumbling around, he's slurring, and he grabs the mic and says, quote, sometimes you make crazy choices. I apologize for, and then Robert DeLeo cuts him off.
And says, apology accepted, brother. And then they, like, break into song. And they say throughout the song, she's messing up lyrics and forgetting lyrics. Kind of all over the place. Well, according to witnesses backstage, they say the show was delayed because Scott Weiland wouldn't get off the tour bus. And DJs, Opie and Anthony, were actually at the show backstage. And they said it was really tense backstage because for that hour, Robert DeLeo spent that whole hour attempting to coax Scott Weiland off of his tour bus. It's a mess. The tour has just begun. He has a different profession. Yeah, dude. For sure, right? Seriously, like, you can't handle it. It's clear. Listen, you find other things that you're interested in. This is not, you know, this is not going to work with you trying to be sober. Maybe a red flag. Yes. Yeah. Well, I wish him luck. I hope that they get that cleared up. That's been a real big thing for them. Crack is whack. That is right. I saw Dr. Phil in the lobby and... Holy moly.
It's pretty interesting, you know, now that Rachel Ray's ads have been pulled because she was wearing a turban. He was cutting some new Dunkin' Donuts spots out there. I don't know if he's going to be the new guy or what the deal is. Really? Yeah. Kind of steal it? Well, the thing is, is I thought, man, I don't know what they're going to do with this. He's in a samurai sword and full-on Japanese regalia. So I said, isn't that... He's going to offend somebody. What's the deal with that? They know what... caused the fire at Universal Studios, by the way, and we'll tell you after this. P1 Text Army. Text Mikey to 35253. Standard rate supply. It's the P1 Text Army. Hillary's win in Puerto Rico really should mean a lot to San Diego because of the Mexican community. What does that have to do with Puerto Rico? Both regions like beans and rice and chips and salt. Did you know that Hillary actually founded Puerto Rico? That's a true statement. No, she did. She called it Puerto Stinko when she first came up with the idea. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. Here's some of the text messages we're getting. Hey, Mikey, researchers tagged a great white in Brazil, and three months later, it was spotted off the coast of New York. I'm with Eddie. That's P1 Mike. That's crazy! How about that? They get around, man. Suckers like to travel. And they're all a bunch of illegal aliens, dude. None of them have a passport. Mikey, why does B-Rob sound so cranky when he screens the calls? That's P1 Sour Note. I actually have an answer for that. It's because he has an abscess in his mouth along with a root canal that needs to be done, and he's on Vicodin for it. So that may be part of the reason that he's not in the greatest mood. I might not blame him on that one. Welcome back to the show. The Universal Fire, the fire at Universal Studios. Skye, what caused it? Well, it was unintentionally caused by some roofing workers. I guess they were using a blowtorch to heat up.
asphalt shingles. That's all? Just a blowtorch on a roof? That's what caused it, huh? Yeah. Holy cow. Yeah, they were applying some shingles to one of the buildings on the New York Street strip, you know? That was one of the things that burned down. It was used in, like, Spider-Man 2 Transformers. And they don't have any, like, protocol for that? Like, when you're using a torch? Basically, what happened is they did the work, and then the protocol is to wait an hour after the work and watch it. before you leave just to make sure nothing goes on. So they watched for about an hour. Nothing went on. They left. And then, you know, I think about 45 minutes after that is when a security guard noticed flames. Really? No. Yeah. I don't know if, you know, just a wind whipped through the right way and, you know, sparked it up. Who knows how it went down? But they followed protocol and it was an accident. I mean, before the fire, imagine how hot that stuff must get. You know what I mean? I have often thought that the worst job, on planet Earth is to live in Arizona and do that road work where they use tar. Oh, no. You know, because in Phoenix, it very regularly gets to 110, 111, 112 degrees. And then they're out there and they got to wear the long sleeves to protect themselves. And, you know, usually heavy cotton long sleeves.
And they got those mops with the black tar that's been heated up in those big orange trailers they're carrying around. Which makes it hotter. Oh, dude. I can't even imagine, man. Yeah. Oh, no. We got an email. Tell me what you guys think about this. It says, Mikey, I have a three-year-old that likes to shoplift. Oh, no. Whenever we come home from the store, we discover that he grabs something off the shelves. I took him back to the store the other day and made him return it. He didn't seem to have any remorse. I don't think he gets it. I think to help him understand that you can't just, I try to help him understand that you can't just take things that aren't yours. He isn't getting it. Should I have a cop come and talk to him or do you think that's going too far? Thanks for the help. That is P1 Quinn. Listen. We're talking about things that are very delicate. It's a three-year-old. You know, these are the years where you're really dealing with their psyche and all that stuff. And since none of us are psychologists.
I'm actually not, no. I don't know why that little young man said that. But, boy, that little, he is so cute. Every time I come out here, there's that little 12-year-old there in about the third or fourth row. Hello, little boy. It's nice to see you here. Yes, that's right. He's a big fan of me, Dr. Phil. It's so cute. He's got on a t-shirt that says, I heart Dr. Phil. And then in an homage to me, that little 12-year-old boy, he's got a little fake mustache on as well, which is very cute. He screams like an adult man, though. That is really unusual. So three-year-old child is shoplifting, I guess, is what's going on. Now, I got to tell y'all. In my practice, I see a lot of different issues that come up from time to time, different problems. But I'd have to say about 98% of all my clients come to me with problems related to three-year-olds stealing things. I think that's a fake statistic. 99 to 98%. And so obviously I know a little bit about this. I guess so. It's very common. In fact, my son.
did this with me very recently. That's right. And the first thing to remember here is that you are the boss, okay? And what I mean by that is don't rule out firing your child and forcing him into arbitration if he has a problem. I don't think you can do that. He's got a problem with the... The severance package that Peggy handed him and that smarty girlfriend from Texas Tech he brought home with him to the meeting anyway is all I'm saying, okay? What are you saying? I don't get it. Why would you bring her with you, Todd? Did I say Todd? Yes, you did. You sure did. I meant your child. Right. Okay. Remind him that he signed an arbitration agreement in front of your assistant Melvin back in 1994. When he decided like a little smart aleck to drop out of the University of Tennessee where he changed his major three times. That sounds very specific to your family. And called me for money every day. I don't think this applies. Remind him of that. Remind your three-year-old of that. And then do time out.
So anyway, yeah, yeah. Right. You guys know this. The best thing to do and to deal with this. And I'm sure, Sky, you would agree with me. Right, Sky? Let's see. The only way to deal with this is timeouts. Right, Sky? Timeouts are good. That's right. Nothing that makes a kid straighten up faster than letting them play quietly in their room, huh? Isn't that great? That's not how time out works, Dr. Phil. No, it isn't, isn't it? That is not how time out works. Sky, the only thing that works is fear. Fear of a cattle prod, fear of a hot poker. No, no, Dr. Phil. That's a scary child. I don't know that you're a mommy and daddy leaving them somewhere in the desert. No. Don't forget the fear of waking up to somebody's eyes staring back at you through a hockey mask. That does work. That is creepy. Now, I don't know if you all knew this or not, but I have a family history. I have a family history of kleptomania. I have a family history of taking hostages. I have a family history of shooting random hobos in broad daylight keeping an Excel spreadsheet on it.
Also got a family history of one hand being significantly smaller than the other, which is unusual. That is very unusual. I actually call the smaller hand my change hand because it's easier to get change out of my pocket. With the grossly smaller left hand. Lemonades out of lemons. That is true. It's also good at picking boogers, but we'll save that. That's Dr. Phil. You're not there. It's a little off topic. I am Dr. Phil. Gross. I'm uncomfortable. I've got to tell y'all, I have dealt with situations like this. The three-year-old and the taking the stuff and you come home and the three-year-old took the stuff and you're wondering, what do I do here, Dr. Phil? Well... Your little OJ in training there needs to be skilled. I don't think he's that bad. Is this OJ Simpson? I don't think it's that bad. I don't know that that applies. It's a little bit of a... You take his little three-year-old bottom to prison and leave him there, okay? Here's what we do. Dr. Philly's three. Eddie, I understand what you're saying.
But I just got to tell you, this is what you do if he somehow finds his way home. You're gathering up in his car seat. You're promptly driving back to prison and let him know that he needs to stay at his new home. Hang on. This seems a little harsh. It does seem harsh in the beginning. But after all that crying and caterwauling, you pick him up and you're loving arms and you pat him on the back. You say, there, there, little guy, don't be sad. I'm not hugging you. I'm patting you down for stolen goods because I know what you are doing. If you don't find anything, you can put them back in the car in the car seat and problem solved, all right? Wow. You know, Skye once had a patient that had a shoplifting problem. Have I ever told you about this? No. That's right. I don't want to use real names or anything, so we're going to call her. Winona Ryder, okay? That's a real person who did have a shoplifting problem. She came to me in anonymity, and I told... You said her name. You just exposed her. I'm using a fake name and everything. But it's her name. And she told me that she couldn't stop shoplifting. So this girl made a lot of money, and she didn't need to steal, okay? I won't tell you.
What she did as a profession or anything like that. She was an actress. She was a Hollywood actress, actually. I don't want to tell you who it was because I'm trying to protect her anonymity. A beautiful brunette with fair skin. We know who you're talking about. We got it. Heathers. No, no, no. I don't want to tell you. No, no, no, no, no, no. Y'all are thinking of a different person. Y'all are thinking of a different person. I'm talking about an anonymous actress. Okay. Who stole things even though she didn't need to. She's rich. And they caught her on video, actually. Yeah, we know. But I don't want to talk. I can't tell you who it is now. It was a huge news story. I told her that she had to stop, find a new outlet for her. thrill-seeking, like skydiving or protecting our borders, I told her. That is what I told her. And she agreed, and she was on her way, right? Then I realized that she stole my ashtray, the letter G encyclopedia, and my secretary, Madge. Your secretary? She was good. She was really, really, really good.
Well, it has to do with stealing things. And this actress, who I will only call Winona Ryder. Yeah, that is her name. Just because you do the finger quote. Yeah, that's her actual name. She was in Reality Bites. Yeah, we know. From Beetlejuice, right? Yeah, we know. I don't want to hear this. I'm here. Yeah. I'm Dr. Phil. You're listening to The Mikey Show. Indeed you are. We've got slow speeds on both the 5 and 805 northbound here up past the 54 South Bay Freeway. 805, jamming up pretty good here as you come up from the 15 in towards North Park. And then you've got the slowdown developing out of Kearney Mesa.
Heading up on the 52. West 94 on the King Freeway. That's not too bad, man. Just a minor delay in the downtown. Your West 8 ride, a little bit tough here. Later on Hotel Circle, just briefly here. The westbound 52 is starting to see some more breakbacks, though, out of Santee off the 125, coming up to the top of the summit. Heading south on the 15, you've got the slow speeds now from the 78 to Villa Rancho Parkway. And then it gets a little bit tight again into Rancho Bernardo. The coaster ride, south on 3 to 5, quite heavy now out of Encinitas into Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Forgot who he was. That was awesome. Okay, listen, Padres, they are welcoming the best team in Major League Baseball into town right now, the Chicago Cubs, the Kebbies. And, you know, we don't want this to be an entire Cub crowd. I know the Cubs travel real well, and whenever the Cubs, you know, come to town, there seems to be, like, 50-50 Padre fans, the Cubs fans. And, you know, we don't want that. We want more Padre fans. It's our house. It's our house, man.
And so, you know what? You should be going to these games as Padre fans and drown out those Cubs fans. So they got the Cubs until the 4th. And then, and then, the Mets are coming to town. Rock 105.3. It is 7.20. Amy Winehouse was in court yesterday to support her husband and was acting inappropriately. I can give you a sports thing. What? What do you got? What? Terrell Owens signed a new four-year, $34 million extension. Who's that with? The Cowboys. Oh. You didn't know who Terrell played for, Steve? After he left the Niners. I don't know. Come on. We're the Niners? For real? Well, because that's my hubby's team, so I know what's going on with them, but anything else? That would be an interesting thing to ask you. What? Like the biggest stars in sports, and if you know where they play. It would not be very interesting for very long. Let's play now. I think you'll get a lot of them. Where's Eli Manning? Is he the guy in the Super Bowl? The Giants? That's right. That's right. He looks like a camel muppet.
Well, it's just because of the Super Bowl. Let's see. Let's ask you famous people like, you know, like all-time greats. Magic Johnson. Yeah, where did Magic Johnson play? You had this question for Battle of the Sexes, right? Yeah. I wanted to say Lakers, but then I'm seeing like a red jersey. Go with it. And who has red jerseys? Don't fight it. The Bulls? Incorrect. No. You were right the first time. I told you not to fight it. I mean, come on. Call about anything you want to. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. Oh, you guys are the worst. Where did Dan Marino play? Ash knows. Don't say. You know, though, right, Ash? It's kind of a fun game for me. Easy. Think about it. Ace Ventura.
Ace Ventura. Dude, Eddie just walked back in. Eddie, this is funny. Oh, the Dolphins. Yes. So, Eddie, we just discovered a new game with Sky. It's great. Asking Sky where current and former NFL greats or any sports greats play. She just figured out that Dan Marino was a Dolphin. Because of the movie Ace Ventura. Holy cow. Yeah. Great movie. Got Michael Jordan wrong. No, no, no, no. You got Magic Johnson wrong. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that's who I was thinking. You thought Michael Jordan? Then you were right. If you thought Michael Jordan, you were right when you said the bulls. Well, because somebody said I had the number question. It wasn't the number question about Michael Jordan? No, the number question was about Magic Johnson. Oh, no. Number 32. Oh, wow. So you got that. You thought you were answering Michael Jordan? Yeah. Oh, then you got that wrong. The girls lost. actually. Team Awesome actually won. Three days later, kind of had to go back to the tape. Wow. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. What's up? I have a question for Sean. Is he there? Yeah, he is. Hi, Sean. Whatever. I wanted to know what your thought about or what do you do if you use toothpick dispensers or toothpick at restaurants? I don't touch them.
Whatsoever? Not at all. No way. What about the ones in the little plastic sleeves? No, I don't touch them as a rule. I don't touch them. I don't like the candy there. I don't like the toothpicks. People have been all over that stuff. It's germs, right, Sean? Yeah. All righty. Yeah, I could tell, Rubber Duck, that what you wanted to do is spring some kind of germ story on him. I don't know what you're talking about, Mike. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, he's one step ahead of you. He didn't go there. Yeah, in your face, jackass. He ain't going, oh, Shawnee, Shawnee. That's one of your pigs. That's one of your piggies. Why are you going to disease toothpick and jam it in your eye? Oh, wow. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Rob, what's up? This is P1 Noodles. It's Mikey, bro. You're on the air. Oh, sorry about that, Mikey. I hope you have a good topic, or were you just calling to talk to Rob? No, actually, I was calling to see if you guys might be interested in trying some of the Japanese snacks that Sean likes. No. No, thank you. No, thank you. I'm sure you could. I'm totally open to it. I can afford Chex Mix. I'm good. That's true. Yes. Yeah, dude. Hey, Ashley says she's more than willing to try them. Oh, damn.
Why don't you bring them down and we'll have Ashley give it a shot. I can't do this morning, Mikey, because I'm actually working at an election poll. Let me know when you guys want me to do it. Dude, whenever. You tell us. We don't need to make an appointment. It's whenever you want. Bring it in. Whenever you're done burning, dude. There you go. Friday morning. Well, no, no, wait a minute. Hold up, wait a minute. I almost got... chanugled into him coming in and being, you know, one of the people that gets to hang out on Friday. It was very clever. That was very clever. You tried to tamizle me right there. Not going to work. Not going to work, you little shark gatherer. You little trapeze artist. Bring it down any time, though, bro. All right, Mikey. Except Friday. Thank you. Green bread and green tea candies. That's right. With the chocolate on them. Mikey Show. Hey, I have a topic that I was reminded about from your yesterday's spa topic. Yes. Oh, let me remind people what the spa topic was. We were talking about people going to the, ladies going to the spa.
and taken their like 10, 11, 12-year-old daughters with them to the spa. And is that appropriate? Because some dude wrote us an email and he said, my wife is trying to pull this stuff and I don't dig it. And so, yeah, we talked about that yesterday. Well, I have something that is dealing with my 8-year-old son that I want to know if this is appropriate because I don't think this is appropriate at all. Over the weekend, my husband took my... Our eight-year-old son to Hooters to watch a baseball game. I'm wondering what the problem is. Yeah, and your thoughts on that were that... I was upset. I didn't think it was appropriate at all. Tell us what you were upset about. She doesn't like the chicken wings, Mike. She thought that the wings were too spicy for her son. But have you got the curly fries? I mean, come on. Okay, a couple of questions, and then I'm going to tell you what I think, okay? I got a couple of questions for you. What's your name? Tanya. Okay, I got a couple of questions that I need you to answer honestly, and then I'll tell you what I think. Okay. Have you ever been to Hooters?
A long time ago when they first opened. Okay. So how long ago? Not that anything's changed because it hasn't. I'm just curious. Oh, it's been, I don't know, several years. I know that. Okay. So that's question numero uno. And question numero dos is, why do you not want him to go? Because he's eight, and it's a place, first of all, that's called Hooters, and I don't really want him running around saying Hooters. And, you know, when I was there, the girls, they, you know how they dress. I don't think it's appropriate for my son to be exposed to that at this point in his life. Mm-hmm. What you should really be upset about is they went to Cheetah's afterwards, which was really inappropriate. That was really inappropriate. And they give away the free hamburgers at lunch. That's right. Free burgers. It's like, you're already full. Why would you go at lunchtime? Well, here's my...
Here's my thought. Here's my thought on it. And we're all going to have different takes. We are all from very different backgrounds here on the Mikey Show. We all come from very different backgrounds. Me, everything that I'm trying to do in my life has to do with my faith. So I know this about myself. If I go to Hooters, all I'm going to be staring at is Hooters. And I am not wanting to be staring at Hooters because I got a set of Hooters at home. Oh, hey. Hello. And they are just fine by me. When did you get owls? And so for me personally, that's too much. I got enough temptation just driving down the street and seeing it and seeing it, you know, in other places. And so for me. That's too much temptation because I love my lady and I just want my lady to be my lady. It's your lady. Okay. Then the other take that I have on it is that there's just other choices. Like if my kid's eight, if Jake's eight, I got other places I can watch the ball game. That I'm thinking, well, I can eliminate a headache and issue with my wife by taking my kid to trophies.
Because at trophies, you know, he's got this. I got the same thing. He's got the same thing. What's the difference? They got wings at trophies. They got wings at Hooters. Like, what's the difference? Exactly. But that's my take. I want to get everyone else's take. Eddie. Oh, well, I have the complete opposite. I don't know how that happens. Yeah, Hooters is harmless to me. They're not. They're not naked. They're not running around, you know, doing anything weird. They're serving in tank tops and shorts. It's not a strip club, right? It's not a strip club. I mean, it's no big deal. Your eight-year-old probably didn't even blink twice. I mean, he's eight. I don't even know if he's having those kind of thoughts yet. If I was eight seeing that, I wouldn't blink either. I wouldn't want to miss any of it. I think it was fine. It's no big deal. Sky. Lay off your husband. Oh, no. Like, I don't think it would be my first choice. Like, if I was going to suggest a place for my husband and son to go watch a game, I don't think that would be the place I would suggest. But I wouldn't be upset with my husband. I don't think it's going to have any negative effect on my child. What I would be more concerned about is if it's a game and if there's a whole huge group of people drinking and getting rowdy, I'd be concerned about that over the girls in their tank tops and shorts. Well, wait a minute.
Don't you think that even if your husband says no, no group, that group probably going to be there. It's not going to be your husband's. Well, that's what I'm saying. I don't want my kid to be in a place where people are consuming an excess of alcohol. Now I've been to Hooters before where it's a huge party atmosphere and I've been there before where it's just families having lunch. So I don't, you know, it kind of depends on the event going on and if it's a Friday night or, you know, a Sunday afternoon or whatever, but that would be my concern. I'd have no concern over what the waitresses are wearing. Yeah. Uh, Let's see. Ash, what do you think? I don't know. I'm kind of like halfway in between Mikey and Eddie, but I don't really have kids and I don't venture to Hooters very often. But I have Hooters. I have them. Because I don't know, you know. I could speak to that. Sean, what about you? I really... I don't think it's appropriate. I really don't. You know, I understand that, you know, like Sky said, families eat there, you know, on occasion. And there are times when it's pretty rowdy. But I think as a general rule, it wouldn't be for me. I wouldn't do it. Don't they have a kid's menu? At Hooters? Do they really? Well, there you go. Then what's the... As long as they have a kid's menu, Mike? Why are we even talking about this?
I was not expecting that. I wasn't either. Wow. Deductive reasoning. Yes. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. P1 Predator, are you there? Yes. I don't know that I would... Never mind. He calls himself P1 Predator. I don't know that I... Well, hey, listen. Like the movie. Oh, gotcha. Chris Hansen's on the other line, though. Not that good. Okay. All right. Are you sure? That's right. Whatever you say. It's not as, I mean, she takes her kids probably to the beach, you know, to the pool. You know, those girls, I mean, at least they're more covered up. Yeah. Now, at the beach, isn't it because that's their bathing suit? Yes. But at Hooters, that's the uniform. That's the uniform. It's like if you go to a Charger game. The Charger girls are wearing less clothes than the Hooters girls are wearing. Exactly. Are they really? Yeah. I don't know about that. Yeah, they are. They are? Yeah, they're showing their midriff. You know what I'd like to do? I'd like to get one of those little mini scales.
and weigh the two outfits and see which one weighs less. But weight doesn't have anything to do with how much is covered. That's true, the fabric, right? Yeah, the fabric and the tassels and the seatings and the fringe. Meow. Okay. Mikey, here's a text message at 35253. Phone number's 5701053. You cool hanging with us, Tanya, and taking these calls? Or do you need to go? No, I would like to know what people think. All right, here's some texts we're getting. Mikey, at eight, he's not old enough to have those sexual thoughts about women. As far as he's concerned, they all have the cooties. That's P1 Snorkel. Oh, yeah. Cute. Let's see. What's the big deal, then? Kids menu. This one says, ask the Hooters lady if her son is allowed at the beach. Sounds to me like wing discrimination. Oh. Do you have mac and cheese on the kids menu? What's the big deal? Let's see. Mikey, it's totally appropriate. Like Ashley said, it's a family restaurant. It's P1 Scary. I don't know that. I win. That's right. Ashley wins. P1 Joe, you there? Yes, I am. Go ahead. I took my two-year-old son with me to Hooters with my softball team. He had a great time. He had more attention there than he does at home. Oh, I bet. I bet. It was a great time. There you go.
P1 Hootmaduder is on the line. That's ridiculous. Hello, Hootmaduder. How's it going? Good. I don't really understand how Scott can have an opinion on that based on she'll let her kids smoke dope, but she won't let it go to a place where... They're in a work uniform? No, Skye. Well, first of all, I said I would let my child go. And second of all, we're talking about an 8-year-old. We're not talking about a 17-year-old like we were when we were talking about the drinking and the home drug testing. It doesn't really matter because they're still a child. I mean. Yeah, but. There is a difference between an 8-year-old and a 17-year-old, sir. Yeah, but they're in, I mean, they're in a work uniform. Yeah, but. One more time. One more time. Hoot the mooter. Hoot-ma-dooder. Moosh-ma-stooder. See, Skye says it's okay for the kid to go to Hooters. What if the eight-year-old had the munchies? He still wants to hate. I know, I know, I know. I just want to hate. Okay, well, at least you admit it. At least you admit it. He's honest about it. What if the eight-year-old had the munchies? I never thought of that. P1 Karen.
Karen, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. I have a 14-year-old son, and when he was 8, he probably would not have paid much attention in a place like Hooters, but now he's paid a lot of attention. I think that mothers taking their daughters to spas, fathers taking their places to Hooters, it's not the best family environment for everyone to enjoy, but if you keep it open in a family, you can kind of influence. the way they think about things. And it's a parent's responsibility to control what happens at those places. I think that there are bigger things to worry about. I think that San Diego is absolutely full of places called Oriental Antipressure Spas, which are absolutely places that they won't allow women in for a reason. And those are on every street corner in every community. And everybody should know exactly what those are. So, Karen, So, Karen, it sounds like you're taking the philosophy of as long as there's something bigger happening in the world, then this is okay. I'm not really sure if it's okay. I think that it's a gray area. I think it's up to families to decide. And I think that it's something that parents should talk about. If parents are not in agreement on a certain topic, it should not be done. One of the most important things that you can do for your children.
is to have a parental plan that both agree with and stick with it. Oh, man. I can't agree with that more. I agree with that. Excuse me. Where are these places? These Oriental? Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. Because I'm going to protest. Okay. P1 Baby Tuna. Are you there? Go ahead, man. You're on the air. Okay. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hold up. Wait a minute. Hold up. Wait a minute. Precious dumpling. P1 baby tuna is six years old. Oh, you sweet little... Is that right? You're six years old? Yeah. What do you think about this? I love Hooters. That is a clip that will be used on this show. We're going to get complete silence here, and we're going to ask you, can you say that one more time? I love Hooters, and I'm six years old, and I love Hooters. Well, now, let me ask you, does mommy and daddy take you there together or is it just daddy that takes you there? Takes me there. Your dad takes you there. Yeah, he does. Now, what does mommy say? I haven't asked my mom yet. You haven't asked your mom. She doesn't know. Yeah, does mommy know that daddy takes you to Hooters? No. She doesn't. She doesn't. Are mommy and daddy still living in the same house?
They divorced. Gotcha. And who do you stay with? You live with dad? No, I live with... I take turns with my mom and my dad. Take turns with mom and dad. Wow, I wonder what mom thinks about the Hooters thing. Well, she knows now. She knows now. She knows now. Let me talk to dad. Okay. All right. Oh, man. Hello? Hey, dad. So mom don't know about the Hooters, huh? She found out once when I took them when he was younger. Right. She don't care? What's that? She don't care? She did at the time, but that was because maybe he was two. Right, right. Now that he's six, he's matured into those Hooters. You know, he's definitely at Hooter age. He's a little older. We just tell him not to stare at the name tags. That's right, yeah. There you go. Oh, boy. Thank you, brother.
There you go. 570-1053. What are your thoughts and feelings? You can text us at 35253. Let's see. P1 Tanya, you can listen off the air and just listen to people. I know this is a popular topic, so just keep listening and we'll keep playing the calls. This text message says, Mikey, I'd be more concerned that the kid will be bored as the dad watches the game. Mikey, I work at a sports bar in North County, and I don't feel that uniforms are an issue as much as the fact that Hooters recently started serving liquor and is now a bar. Mikey, he's at the age you want to give him a good idea of how women should be treated and how they should act. Hooters isn't a good example of that. That's P1 Moose. 5701053, what do you think? Text numbers 35253. Back after this. Doomsday team-infused faceplate. Rock.

It's another Mikey moment with Dr. Wayne. I'm a registered massage therapist in Swedish and deep tissue massage and also a chiropractor here in the San Diego area. How old is Seth? Because I don't know if he wants to get any kind of a massage. The only reason I'm asking you this, the only reason I'm asking you this, there is no reason that he needs to be going to another doctor. It's okay. I'm only saying it because I don't trust these guys. Now, he could go in there and somebody might inappropriately touch Zeph. He's an adult. He knows the difference. If you know full well, he's only about 17 and a half. Have you seen that kid's body? Look at those abs. He's an Abercrombie and Fitch ad for Grygos. Hold on a second. What's that, honey? Oh, sorry. My wife's in the background begging me to make love to her. Oh, that's it. He's Mikey. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. Howie Day. Oh, so beautiful. Never heard of him. 7.55. We get to go vote today. Today is the statewide primary election. Denver released running back Travis Henry yesterday. How about that? Welcome back to the show. We got a call from a woman named Tanya who says that her husband took their, what was it, seven, eight-year-old? Eight-year-old. Eight-year-old son to Hooters. Is that okay?
And so we're getting everybody's opinion. Eddie says, yes, cool, whatever. Sky says, yeah, cool, whatever. I just don't want him there if people are partying too hard and getting drunk. I say, no way, Jose. No. That's right. 570-1053. And our text number is 35253. P1 Liz. Hi, this is P1 Liz. What's up? Hey, I had an opinion on the whole haters thing. I think people in this country are just... I like the way you said Hooters, by the way. Me too. Did you guys notice that? Yeah. It was kind of like Hooters. Hooters. Hooters. I like Hooters. She likes Hooters. Go ahead. Anyway, so people in this country are just too hung up about the human body. I mean, if you go to Europe and you look at the ads, there's half-naked women all the time, and it's not a big deal. So I think if parents don't take their kids to a place like that, and they're all like, oh, my gosh, it's evil, it just sends a really bad message about the human body. I mean, all women have boobs, so. I have a question, P1 Liz. Yes? Other countries also punish people by caning them. Should we do that too? Well, not in Europe. Okay, then we're getting somewhere. That means that what we should do is adopt the principles of Europe. I think we should. I think people are too uptight in the United States. There you go. So if it's okay for Europe...
It's okay for America. You should make that a bumper sticker. There you go. They don't wear deodorant or brush their teeth in Europe. Oh, you know what? You're right. They're hairy legs. That's right. So what do you think, Liz? Are you going to stop shaving your legs? No, I'm not. How come? Wait a second. You're so excited. You're so excited. Why are you being so American already? I love you guys. Thank you very much, Liz. We love you back. P1 Sierra. Hi. My brother. is nine, and he spent his birthday at Hooters. Really? He had his birthday party at Hooters? Yeah. Wow, dad is indoctrinating him early. There you go. How old are you, Sierra? I'm 11. Was yours at Chippendales, or where did you guys do your birthday at? Thank you, Sierra. I appreciate the call. You're welcome. That is Sierra. She's calling from Las Colinas. Thank you very much. P1 Robin. Yeah. What's going on? Good morning, Mikey. Hey, let's switch the genders. Let's, instead of Hooters, let's make it Dooters. All the waiters are Chippendale dancers and they're little mankinis. And would you take your eight-year-old daughter there to have dinner and watch the Stanley Cup? What's the difference? Yeah. There's a huge difference. There is? Girls walk around on the streets in shorts and tank tops.
all the time. Dudes do not walk up and down the street in Speedos. That's true. Have you been to Pacific Beach? That's true. I mean, it's a different opinion. I don't know necessarily that I see girls. I definitely see girls walking down the street wearing the tops that the chicks at Hooters wear. But I don't see them wearing those kind of shorts just walking around the street unless they're walking around El Cajon Boulevard. Have you been to Pacific Beach? No, come on. I mean, honestly, I'm not like that out of it. I don't really see those. Those shorts are very particular. They're very particular kind of short. This guy's looking at me like, no, I see the Hooters shorts. I mean, not the orange ones like that, but shorts that short. Yes, I do see those. And that form fitting. Those are like a stocking almost. You know what I mean? They're not like jeans. What about the apple bottom jeans with the boots with the fur? Okay. We don't need to dance right now. We're discussing something. Those are my faves. P1 Daryl. Duders, by the way. Duders. Daryl, you there? Yes, I am. Go ahead.
Well, I just thought that Tanya, I believe was her name, I think she should be more upset that her husband is exploiting her cute little 8-year-old at Hooters just to get the girl's attention from the kid. Who said he did that? Maybe he went in and had lunch. Well, they are a magnet for the girls. It's like bringing a little puppy in there and all the girls come around. That is so cute. That is true. And the six-year-old who likes Hooters? Mm-hmm. Now, come on. Honestly, you know that dad brought him in there for that. Well, sure. Of course. That's what, you know, draws the ladies over. So I don't approve. Okay. Thanks. Thank you, Dr. Prude. That's right. All right. It's Dr. Prude, line four. It's a safe place here. Come on. Let's see. P1 Doc is on line two. What's up, Doc? Hey, what's going on, Mikey? How's everybody doing? Good, man. Just wanted to comment on what the lady said about Europe, how they do it in Europe. Well, me being, because of my religion, you know, being a Christian, I don't feel like it's necessary or we should take your children to see, you know, women walk around with their boobs hanging out and whatnot. Yeah, I mean, I'm Christian too.
Yeah, it doesn't jive. The two don't jive. But for me, mostly what it doesn't jive about is it's not really about the kid. Like in the case with the six-year-old kid, I don't think it's really about the kid. It's about dad. Dad wants to see the chicks. And hey, listen, that dad that called in, he's single. Whatever, he's single. You know, me as a married guy, I know where it takes my head. And I got enough issues with me staying out of that kind of, those kind of thoughts. Without taking me directly to the market. You know what I mean? Maybe don't wear a bra next time. That's what I'm trying to say. Love it. P1 Crunk Punk is on the line. Hey, what's up, guys? What's up? A lot of my childhood, pretty much three weekends out of the month, I was spent floating down the St. John's River in Florida, heading to Hooters at the Landing in Jacksonville, Florida. There you go. Me and my sisters and my parents would sit there probably the majority of the day and we'd listen to music and we'd play in the water and we'd eat the fantastic wings that they have there. Wow, it sounds like a magical place. I thought you were describing Disneyland for a minute when you said the magical place. We love it. Disneyland with boobs. That's right. I want to squeeze them. Disneyland is a really bad image of Hooters. I think it's a really relaxed place. They've got great food there.
It's really relaxed, and I think it's a great place to hang out and have a good time. I mean, literally from the age of maybe 7 or 8 until 14, 15 years old, we would go almost every weekend, floating down the St. John's River, and then we'd hang out at Hooters all day. Thank you very much. You're welcome. Hooters Missing Valley. That's right. We've got about 50 locations in San Diego. Heck yeah. There's a lot of them. Ash, did you ever consider Hooters? Working there? At any point? Yeah. You did? Yeah, one time me and my dad went in there for dinner. Yeah. And I was like, I think I might want to work here. It was when I was looking for a waitress job. Right. And I got application. That's because you have big jugs. Application. And what did dad say? He was cool? Of course he was cool with it. Yeah. He thinks the girls are hot. He thinks his daughter's pretty. So why not, right? I mean, your boobs are huge. By that point. My dad was not going to ever try to tell me what to do. I don't listen. In fact, if he had told me not to, I would have done the opposite. So he just stays out of it, and I got the application, and then look what happened. Like, I never even went. Well, you should try again. She has a job. I know, I know, but I mean, it would be fun for her. She does fine. I think you probably want D-cups. She's got a full-time job, though, Eddie. I was a really good waitress when I worked at Joe's. Weekends. I was a really good waitress when I worked at Joe's. I believe you.
That's because you have big jugs. People person, you know. She's a people person. Yeah, that's true. P1 Bobby is on the line. She used to work at Hooters. Bobby. Hey, Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Bobby. Go ahead, Bobby. I'm just saying, it's a family restaurant. I mean, we cater to women and children as well. And the girls love when the kids come in. You know, they give them balloons and stuff. So it's not just catered to, like, dirty old men at all. Yeah, you know, I honestly think that Hooters is, besides the way that the gals are dressed, a cool place. And it does seem like a family restaurant. The only thing is, is that those, that the bottoms that the ladies wear, you know, you get to see everything. Accentuate the bosom. That's right. You see the... We're talking about the bottoms. I mean the bottoms. Yeah. You can see shorts at Abercrombie and Fitch and at Victoria's Secret that these young girls are wearing. And they have pantyhose on underneath, so it's not like you can see anything. Yeah. Well, that's what Skye says. She says they're wearing it anyway. Yeah, if the women are completely comfortable with their relationship with their husband, they should have no problem with it. Oh, now don't give me that business. Now, this is what I have a problem with with that. Now you're saying...
If a woman says, I don't want my husband to go to Hooters, it means that she's insecure and she has a problem. No, I'm not saying that, but these women are calling in and complaining, oh, my husband went there with my eight-year-old son. It's like, well, it's a family restaurant. There should be no problem with your husband and your son going there. Are you mad because he's going without you? No, no, no. I don't think anybody's trying to hide. The problem that I have is my husband looking at the other chick's bodies. Well, then your husband shouldn't be able to watch football. Right. I mean, the cheerleaders wear the same. Right. And he shouldn't be allowed to go to the beach. Not the beach. Yeah, beach. Because there's definitely women there. I mean, just PB area in general should be avoided. That's my whole point, though. Like the play. That's my whole. Somebody said something about trophies. Trophies wears tank tops. You know, they might not wear the shorts, but they still wear the tank tops. And that's what I was saying. The tank tops that I see the girls wear at Hooters, that's what I see all over the place. I see that everywhere. The bottoms are a little different. The bottoms are a little bit more suggestive. Now, as far as watching football and you see the girls in the cheerleading outfits, you're right. It's there. But the purpose of watching the game is that you're watching the game. That's something that does come along with it. I told you the other day we were watching a basketball game and I tripped out, man. I hadn't seen a basketball game. I didn't know what the dancers wore. That's crazy.
And the skirt was like, I mean, there was like stuff coming out of there. You were seeing cheeks. I was seeing some cheek action. I was like, wow. Those things have gotten a little shorter over the years. But isn't the purpose of going to Hooters to eat? No, no, no, no. I think if the purpose of going to Hooters was to eat, it would be called trophies. But it's not. It's called Hooters because there's a whole different thing going on there. I think that what men like to do, and it makes sense, is go, honey, I'm going to go get some wings. What? But it is eye candy. We know what it's about. It's about the girls dressing hot. But, you know, to speak to this woman's point of... You know, a couple having a bad relationship because she doesn't want him to go to Hooters. You know, you can trust in your husband that he will not act on something, but still not want him to go out and check out chicks. I think that normal. And I think that when you go to the beach, it's going to be there. Sure. But I don't think that if you ask a woman, hey, ladies, are you real stoked about your husband checking out the ladies on the beach?
Well, not necessarily. It's not going to keep me from going to the beach. But if I have a choice of going to trophies or going to Hooters and I know what my husband's going to see at Hooters and I know what my husband's going to see at trophies, ask most ladies which they would prefer. I think, Skye, you would prefer Hooters. I prefer Hooters. I force my husband to go to Hooters. You do. By gunpoint, I actually saw it one time. I actually saw it one time. By gunpoint, she said, You either go to her or it's over. Yep, thank you, Mike. We got to take a break, but when we come back, we were talking about this. Tatum O'Neill. Oh, Mike. Well, she was trying to buy crack in Central Park. Is that where she was or where was she? It was in Manhattan. Crack is whack. So she's somewhere in Manhattan and she's trying to buy crack. Well, the cop has now said, What she told him. She had a reason. She was trying to get out of it and she had a reason as to why she was buying said crack. Crack is whack. We'll tell you what her reason was after this. The Mikey Show. Get downloads and podcasts at Rock 105.3.

Cricket Wireless at MyCricket.com slash San Diego. Rock 105.3 Drive. You buy Sleep Train Mattress Centers. We still have some tough spots out here. We've got a high wind warning effect through the mountains and deserts along I-8. Gusting up pretty good out there, so be extra careful if you're traveling between Alpine and the Imperial County driving a high-profile vehicle. Coming into the city in the westbound 8, a traffic alert in effect from a bad accident blocking the slow lane West 8 past Waring. That has you backed up big time crawling from Ford Jackson Drive out of La Mesa. all the way into Mission Valley. The West 94 King Freeway also bunching up at the 805, and then more brake lights from 28th Street in the downtown. Coming up out of the South Bay, things are improving a little bit now through National City, but still a bit tight here on the 805 northbound. From Market Street up past Home Avenue, and then again out of Kearney Mesa over the 52. Westbound 52, fine out of Santee, but starting to see some heavy traffic underneath the 805 through San Clemente Canyon as you'll work your way to the 5 connector there. Heading south in the 15, some speeds are picking up a little bit here through Escondido. It's still slow from Auto Parkway to Villa Rancho, then again through Rancho Bernardo. There's something funny going on here. It's another Mikey Dumb Chick Challenge. Boston Rob, what woman became known for founding the modern nursing profession? It's not a joke. It's not a joke. It's actually a question. Who founded nursing? Like, who's the first woman to breastfeed? No, no. Mikey's show continues. Rock 105.3. How about this blast? Past. That's right, dude. Okay. That's right. Bunch of Boston boys. That's why I love them. Back, it's 8-16. Kelsey Grammer suffered a mild heart attack over the weekend. Pittsburgh forces a game six last night, beating Detroit in triple overtime in the NHL final. Before we went to break, we told you that Tatum O'Neal was arrested for trying to buy crack in Manhattan.
Now the cop is saying exactly what the deal was and what she told him when he was arresting her. What did he say? So this all went down on Sunday when she got arrested. And when the police officer approached her, she said, you know who I am, right? And then went on to say that she's researching a part for the role of a junkie. Oh, wow. And that's why she was doing that. And she was in court yesterday, was released without bail, and has another court hearing set for the end of July. And she decided to issue a statement this morning in the New York Post, which is something I just read. Really? Explaining why. She now fesses up to it and doesn't do this whole... It wasn't a roll? Doesn't do this whole roll thing that she tried with the police officer right away. What is she saying? She says that she was distraught over the loss of her Scottish terrier who passed away about three weeks ago. And she says that her arrest on Sunday saved her from possibly ruining her life. Her Scottish terrier died about three weeks ago.
That is not a lie. Best excuse ever. My dog died. I'm going to go get some crack. It's almost like my dog ate my homework. It's so awesome. That's so much better than anything. Why do you lie, liar? In an acting role. If Sky had asked me to write down 1,000 excuses, that would not make the top. Yeah, I would bet her lawyer is probably not too happy with her for issuing said statement. Dustin Hoffman reveals Angelina Jolie's due date. Yeah. Yeah. What is up with this cast? I know. It's like a joke, you know, like they're doing this as a joke. This point. Yeah. Because Jack Black outed her for being pregnant with twins. Yeah. It wasn't confirmed. That's what I'm saying. It almost sounds like a bit. Maybe it is. Yeah. They're all doing. Well, you know.
The media has been speculating because, of course, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are very private about these kind of things and don't release details publicly. But Dustin Hoffman was doing an interview for Kung Fu Panda and was asked about the babies. And he said... That's a movie, by the way, Kung Fu Panda. Kung Fu Panda, yep. And says... Eddie saw it. Pretty good. Eddie did see it. And just kind of started talking and was saying... He was with kids, so lest anybody think he's pervert or something. Sean saw it, too, for other reasons. Lest you think he is a pervert. Yes, yes. Sean, well, he's a furry. I don't know what that is. People that go to raves dressed as animals. That's a real thing. Yeah, they'll go to raves with glow sticks, pacifiers, and they'll dress like mascots. What for? I guess perverted stuff. No, they're not perverts, bro. That's disgusting. They don't do anything like that. Sean maintains that not everyone is a pervert. Sean. But the vast majority are not. Freak a leak. He says that they go there and that there's all kinds of stuff for them to look at. Yeah.
And what? Arts and crafts. It's a convention like any other, like Comic-Con, dude. Oh, come on. But for gay perverts. Wait, now that's really accurate. Yeah, it is, it is. That one got Sean irritated. No, no, no, I'm a gay pervert. No. You know, like, see, he's not. Save that clip. He was going to play the clip. Dang it. So anyway, back to it. Sorry, John. Dustin Hoffman says that Angelina Jolie's scheduled due date is August 19th and his birthday is August 8th. So he told Angelina if she could have the babies early on August 8th that they'll get spoiled with presents for the rest of their lives from him. So kind of inadvertently announced her due date of August 19th. That's possible. This was Dustin Hoffman on the Today Show. Cut 10. He remembers the very first time he met her. I was making a film called, and John Voight called up. He said, my kids want to meet Captain Hook. Can I bring them over? I said, sure. And she was like 13 years old, and that's the first time I ever met her. And she actually just confirmed that she is giving birth to twins. So have you thought about baby gifts for her? She said her due date is August 19th, this 8th. If she could will...
Better birth to be on my birthday. There's no end of baby gifts I would give her. I mean, it's the least she could do. So there it is. I don't know. For some reason, I think that these movie stars are way too savvy, but maybe it was a slip up. Maybe it was a slip up and he actually, you know, she didn't want that and he did it on mistake. Speaking of the Today Show, I don't know if you guys heard about the man whose testicles were stuck in the beach chair. Did you hear about it? Have you guys heard of this? I beg your pardon? It was on the Today Show. It's cut 14. This is in the newspaper, and this I say only as a public service for all you men out there who have not thought about this at first. What is a swimmer trapped by beach balls? Okay. Is the title. Okay. A man got a nasty surprise when he tried to get out of his deck chair and found his testicles had become stuck between two slots of wood. Slats, not sluts. Mario. Mario Vincic had been swimming naked. Where is this? I'm going to tell you. Off Vallauta Beach in Croatia. I warned you not to go there. Yes. And his testicles had shrunk in the cool sea.
Winnie, stop it. All of you crew, stop it. This is serious news. The men are listening. When he sat down, they slipped through the slats, and then as he landed, the sun expanded back to normal size. He was freed after he called Beach Mansion Services on his mobile phone, and they sent a member of the staff to cut the deck chair in half. The deck chair. I want you to be on the lookout for this guy. If they try to set you up with Marta Vizicic, forget it. How do they, what do you do when you get there? Like, what would an EMT, what would be their, like, what do they, how do you begin? The protocol. The protocol. Laugh. The first thing you do is laugh and point. Must point. And the second thing you do, what do you do next? Tell the person. Tell everyone you know. Get some cold water? Well, yeah, they ended up having to cut the chair apart. Well, videotape it for YouTube, but then get the water. Yes. I think that that's a really good idea. Ice, because what caused the problem was it got warm, and they got larger, and it got stuck. It got stuck. So seriously, that's the answer. You use ice. Just a little bowl of some ice water. Yeah.
You're soaking in it. Yeah, that's right. Like home olive. Yeah, right. Now, what is this? That'll blow your balls to hell. When you get, you know, when the insurance company sends you the bill. You should free ball it. What does it say? What does it say? Is that covered? Maybe they think that that's, you know, you caused the problem. It's user, no, user. Error. User error. User error. Wow. Unreal. That would not feel good. Oh, dude. Imagine, you know, because for a while, he didn't know there was a problem. Yeah. But then he went to get up. Oh. And he was like. And he was like. He had to walk to the phone.
Did he have to walk to the phone? Or maybe he just knocked himself over. Eddie is now walking with a chair attached. They said he had his cell phone with him. That is a painful situation. I'm glad that was not me. See, ladies? All you have to deal with is periods. Oh, shut up. How dare you? See how awful us men have it? Oh, yeah, right. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I send people pictures of my genitals to teach them women. Sky, that's an awful thing to say. For goodness sake. Why would you do that? Awful. Okay, how much time do we have, Eddie? Like five minutes. All right.
I don't want to give you this then. Bill Clinton was responding to a Vanity Fair article about him. He does not like the writer, Todd. Dude, this article was brutal, the things they said about Bill Clinton. So they were accurate. Sean, careful. Yeah, in the article, they're quoting former aides of the Clinton administration. He doesn't have aides, bro. No. There are people who have worked with him. He didn't say that. They were just saying. Yeah. One person says they believe his 2004 heart surgery altered Clinton's state of mind. And he, you know, is a mean, angry person who's marked by constant anger and rage since the surgery. Also talks about. And he probably got angry and rageful as a result of that article. Yeah.
The article also talks about all the millions he's made and how he now travels the globe in luxury jets and hangs out with this wealthy pack of guys who's a fast crowd to be running with. He's not a Republican now. Exactly. Well, my question about that is the first thing is certainly assuming a lot. Yeah. The second thing sounds like fact, and unless it's a lie. Well, not that it's a lie, but it's just how everything is portrayed in this article. Like, here's a quote about that part. Quote, no former president of the United States has ever traveled with such a fast crowd, and most 61-year-old American men of Clinton's generation don't either. Maybe that's true. So... I mean, is there anything wrong with that? The wealthy make up 2% of the United States population. So, you know, it's it's basically saying his behavior is out of line with for other former presidents. It didn't say that, though. Well, it said that his behavior. It said that no other president does that. That maybe that's true. Traveled with such a fast crowd. It sounds like maybe that's true. You know, the rich crowd. Why is he upset? I don't understand. Also, the article discusses rumors that former aides working with Clinton after his presidency.
talked to him because they were concerned about him seeing a lot of women out on the road. Oh, wow. See, that's kind of hearsay. That's all hearsay. That's not fair. They quote this aide who claims that that person had a discussion with him to tell him that he was acting inappropriately. Come on. But basically, the whole article is kind of slamming Bill Clinton and painting him in a bad light. That is hearsay and not cool. President Bush is here. Hey, what's up? President Bush. Let me ask you about this. I can clear up some of these rumors, Mac. What can you tell me? Well, I party with Bill every once in a while. You party? President Bush, you party with Bill? I wouldn't expect that. I know. He's a cool guy. Yeah? I mean, I don't necessarily agree with everything he says. Or that dude he's married to. No, wait a minute. He's just white. No, no, no. He's not married to you. But listen, here's the deal. We'll go to the bar, do some jello shots. No, you don't. Body shots. Already I know you're being dishonest. What are you talking about? You don't do body shots. Yeah, we were at the dive bomber the other day. The what? There's a bar over.
Over where I live. It's called the Dive Bomber. And you get the girls to lay on the bar and you pour the tequila in their belly button. You and Bill Clinton. Me and Sweet Willy. You and Sweet Willy go to the bar. And do body shots with the female bartenders. Let me teach you how to do it. No. Don't want him. It's not the bartenders. It's the bar patrons. You get the girls up there. Oh, I see. And they lay down. You put the midriff. You pour the tequila in. You put a little salt in there. I'm not finished with the body shots. Go ahead. Go ahead. Dang it, let me finish. Go ahead, please. You got to have a lime there too, Mike, and then you suck out the tequila from their belly band. No, it is kind of gross. You get a little nip and stuff. Sweet Willy don't mind. Good thing I let you finish how to do it. President Bush, let me ask you this. Don't people think it's odd that you and Bill Clinton are doing this in a bar? We wear disguises.
I go with Batman, he's Robin. Okay, then that doesn't stand out at all. That guy pulls the chicks, man. Okay. Especially the hippie chicks. If you can get past the underarm hair, they're pretty cool. That's foul. It's not bad. That's really foul. The dive bomber, Mike. The dive bomber. Goes off. Sounds like a great school place. Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States. Peace out. So you want to hear. Don't forget the lab. Thank you. Thank you, President Bush. Do you want to hear this audio of Bill Clinton going off? Yeah. On Vanity Fair writer Todd Perdume. Well, then let's do this. I'm a man. I'm 40. We're going to take a time out. And when we come back, I'm going to play you the audio of Bill Clinton freaking out. It's next. I really don't see you. Hey, Mikey. The Mikey Show. is on. I just want to say I love this show. I listen to you guys every single day.

And you know, it must work because everyone wants more, even your car. That's why the folks at Chevron give you so much cleaning power in Chevron with Tecron. You see, Chevron could have put in the bare minimum cleaning power that's required by law, or they could have just put more cleaning power in their premium gasoline, like some other gasoline companies.
But that's not the way Chevron does things. Chevron is all about giving you more. That's why no regular gasoline gives you more cleaning power than Chevron with Tecron. So if your engine has any deposits left by other gasolines, Chevron with Tecron is unsurpassed at cleaning them up. And that'll help keep your car running like new for a long time to come. President Bush has said that we're going to be hiring more Border Patrol agents. Isn't that right, President Bush? You did say that, that we could hire more Border Patrol agents. I did say that, yes. And so we're hiring more Border Patrol agents. Got to protect Texas, Mac. Well, it's not just... It's all about Texas. President Bush, it's not just about Texas, about every place. I don't really care about Arizona. Well, there it is. Or New Mexico. If you want to know more information, borderpatrol.gov. You can't smell it on my breath. Well, things are improving a little bit here this morning. We've got better-looking speeds out of the South Bay, both the 5 and the 5 northbound looking pretty good here for you as you work your way up into the city. 8.05 is still quite tough, though, out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over to 52. The West 94 clear completely now in the downtown. The West 8 has some leftovers flowing through La Mesa from Spring Street out to Lake Murray, and then you're pretty much good to go. West 52, full speed out of Santee, but it does slow underneath the 805 through San Clemente Canyon. Heading south in the 15, you've got better-looking speeds as well out of Escondido. Coming up a bit, a little bit slow through Rancho Bernardo, still in Carmel Mountain Ranch. The coaster ride south outside of the 5 zone stays quite tough here out of Encinitas and to Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Mikey's show continues, featuring Mikey. If everybody's going one way, a lot of times I like to go the other. Eddie. I may.

The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Where's Ashley? The summer of 99 all over again. There it is. Eddie just gave me a look like, Mike, I have no idea where she is. I'll give you one guess. She is peeing. I will bet that you are correct. There she is. There's my girl. What's up? Ashley? What's up? Where were you? I was getting coffee. You were not going to the bathroom? Dang it. Let's see. Pertinent information. Phone number 570-1053. Our text number 35253. Ashley plays with her bangs more than anybody I've ever witnessed in my life. She is...
Constantly adjusting her bangs. Constantly. I've got to get this swoop just right. Is that what you're doing? Is that what it is? It's like the swoop. You're working on the swoop. I've got to get it just right. Now tell me when you have it, the way you like it, because I want to see you like it right there. What happens where you need to make the adjustment? Okay, gotcha, gotcha. If it goes in front of your eyes. Because they're getting a little long, I've got to get my hair trimmed. So you make it so you get the little swoop going. And then swoop. And then swoop. Sweet. All right. Are you ready to hear the Bill Clinton clip? Yeah. Oh, did I? I didn't give a time check. It's 840. Reports are that Scott Weiland was staggering and slurring during his concert over the weekend. Dallas gives T.O. Terrell Owens a new four-year, $34 million extension. That's a lot. He's old. From the HuffingtonPost.com. We have this audio of Bill Clinton going off about Todd Perdume. This is the Vanity Fair writer who wrote this article saying some negative stuff about him. Sky says they kind of portray him as a Richie Rich flying around in private jets. Party boy. They say that they talk to one of his aides or former aides that say he likes to chanoogle with the ladies when he's out and about. Chanoogle. He's a chanoogler.
Totally. And is that it? What else did they say? That ever since his surgery, his heart surgery in 04, that he's just been a very angry man with kind of a little bit of rage. Got it. So here is Bill Clinton responding to it. Cut one. Mr. President, what do you think about that anybody did on you on Vanity Fair at the end of the race? He's a really dishonest reporter. One of our guys talked to him. told me there's five or six blatant lies in there. But he's a real slimy guy. Yeah, it's all over cable news. It's totally slimy. Just blow it off. But he's married to Dee Dee Myers. Yeah, but he, that's all right. He's still a scumbag. I grew up in Hope, too. Thank you. Hope, North Dakota. Let me tell you, he's one of the guys, he's one of the guys that propagated all those lies about Whitewater for Kenneth Stark. He's just a dishonest guy. He can't help it.
How are you supposed to respond to anything in that clip without noticing the guy that says, I'm from Hope 2. That, let me tell you. Best part. That guy's more interesting to me than the whole clip, okay? Yeah. And I'll tell you why. That guy, he had that for a week that he knew he was going to see Bill Clinton. And it was planned out. This is the way I'm going to. I'm from Hope, North Dakota. And so I'm going to get Bill. It'll be great. I'll say, I'm from Hope, too. And he'll go, really, you are? And then I'll go, yes.
Hope, North Dakota. And then he'll be like, oh, my goodness. I thought we were. I grew up in Hope, too. So weird. That guy. That guy. I could do an hour on that guy. You had to get it out, Mike. There was no other chance. Yes. So I have to say it. I have to say it. It was a pause in the conversation. I got to get it out there. Yeah. I grew up in Hope, too. Do you have the whole thing of him saying, and Bill Clinton going, thank you, and him, Hope, North Dakota. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here we go. Hope, too. Thank you. Hope, North Dakota. Let me tell you. He's one of the guys. Wow. What is that? Wow. President Clinton was at a Wally World show. It's the same guy that goes, I got a cousin named Bill. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. During that moment. Yeah. Where Bill is so upset, you can hear. Yeah. I still got to tell him that I'm from Hope. Hope, North Dakota. Not Hope, Arkansas. Not Hope, Arkansas. Thank you. Hope, North Dakota. Let me tell you. Do you think that Bill was more interested in the fact that he was from Hope, North Dakota or talking about Paul or what's his name from the Vanity Fair article? Paul Perdom. I was going to say Paul Perdom. I was going to say Paul Perdom. It's Todd Perdom.
Here are some of the nonsensical texts that we're getting. And I like this as a new feature. Zeth has started to print me out the nonsensical text messages that we get. I like it. It's awesome. So here's one of them. It simply says, Michael Jackson is Puerto Rican. That's all. That's all it says. That's all it says. Duh. Fair enough. That guy drove behind the station yesterday. He did? I was on the phone with my brother, and he drove by yelling at me. And that's what he said. And I was just like, all right, that's great. What did he look like? Bald-headed white guy. Bald white guy. Yeah. Driving like a Penske truck. It's a little bit nerve-wracking knowing that he's still out there. Yeah. That's weird. He's yelling at Rob. Michael Jackson is Puerto Rican. All right, dude. Yeah, whatever. What do you want from me? Here's another nonsensical text.
Sky should open a restaurant and call it Ham's. That's it. Wow. That's all it says. I mean... I'm ready now. No, I'm not. Sean enjoyed it. This text says, have you ever wondered how much Seth sounds like the weather guy from KUSI? What? My brother told me. Are you serious? No, no. What, what, what? All right. Rob's still on Vicodin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. People need to know that. My brother said that Seth sounds like Barbara. Al or Gabe? I think it was Al. Al said that he sounds like Barbara? Yeah. Barbara that calls in? Yeah. Oh, wow. That's pretty funny. So, Susan Sarandon wrote a letter to The View. It wasn't meant to be read on the air, but they read it on the air? Shut up. Why would she do that?
Because I guess they were talking smack about her. Really? I guess because I don't know if it was it. Yeah, I guess it is that they were talking smack because she's it says here defending herself because she said that she would move out of the country if Senator John McCain is elected. And all these Hollywood schmollywoods, they say that, but then they don't move out of the country. Alec Baldwin said that he would leave if President Bush became the president and he didn't leave. He did 30 Rock. Yes. It was either go to Canada or do 30 Rock. And we know what he decided. Right. So, cut 13. It turns out she was watching us and she wrote us a letter, which I had to have them write in very big letters because I can't read it on the watch. It says, hey girls, I came up over coffee in your hot...
topic segment, I want to clarify a quote that's been repeated and morphed into something other than intended. If I were to entertain the notion of leaving my country, it's because I believe under McCain it would be significantly more dangerous to live in New York City with my family because of his statements regarding foreign policy and his volatile temper. Not because I would ever hate my country. Continued on next call. If discontent is the present leadership were motivation to leave, I would have left a long time ago. But instead, it's every citizen's duty and right under the Constitution to express their discontent. That's called democracy. As I said in the full quote, this election is a critical one. I also said I have faith in the American people. Love, Susan. Yeah, it's also our right to dislike your words. You know, you have every right in the world to say that you'll leave the country. We have every right in the world to not believe you. And then we have every right in the world to not care for you saying it for whatever reason. You know, it's not like, oh, I'm going to say this. And my hope is, is that when I say it, everyone A agrees and B thinks it's cool because everybody, not everybody does. I would bet those comments probably did really well with certain demographics like Sean Penn, that particular demographic. Yes. She's rates really high with the Sean Penn. Yeah.
crowd john stewart was arguing with scott mcclellan we know who he is right he's the guy that wrote the book yeah the former white house spokesperson yeah and he wrote a book and he was saying you know what a turd i guess he thinks that uh president bush is the administration yeah so scott mcclellan gets into it with john stewart cut 11. somebody made a willful decision don't talk about the price because that truth They make people think twice about it. The cost that concerns me more, of course, is the human cost, the irrevocable human cost. This was just the one example, the irrevocable human cost, everything. Isn't that the very definition of deception? Well, yeah, and the question is, if we start saying, is this deliberate or is this intentional, or you look at it in a different light, is this just the way everybody does it? If they sat in a room and said, when we go to campaign for this war, let's not tell them. how much it costs, let's not mention it, that's a sin of omission. That's a lie. Yeah, there's really no difference whether it's deliberate or intentional or not. Well, they're both problematic in their own way. They're not both problematic. One is homicide. The other is involuntary manslaughter. One ought to be criminal, for instance. That's what I'm saying. Do we know if Scott McClellan, in his book, says that he was in a room,
with the president and Cheney and stuff, and that they said that quote that Jon Stewart was kind of coming up with? I mean, that's what it sounds like. I believe that's what's in the book, yeah. He says that they said, let's not tell them? Yes, let's not tell the American people how much this war is going to cost. I have to think about what I think about that. Then we won't have the support for it. I have to think about what I think about that. I have to think about whether or not... See, I have a problem with Scott McClellan. Regardless of whether or not he's a Republican or a Democrat, if this were like, for instance, Sky saw me roll my eyes when a former aide of Bill Clinton's was saying that he does this. Right. Because immediately I'm like, well, what's your you know, what's what's that all about? Why are you doing that? Scott McClellan. I don't know. Is he saying, well, the reason I'm writing this book is because I really want the American people to know the truth and blah, blah, blah. Is that what it is? I mean, I haven't heard him say why he wrote the book, but I would assume so. I mean, that sounds like the common sense answer. Like, you know, a lot of shady stuff went on. His motivation is to make money, to make money off a book.
I mean, I think that's... I mean, that's his motivation. Yeah, because if his true motivation was to let the American people know, he would call the New York Times or the L.A. Times or whatever, but to write a book, to get it published, obviously you have some financial gain there. Unpause. In the book, you make it very clear. You go out of your way to say you don't think it's intentional. And I don't. But I haven't seen any evidence that it's not intentional because everything was done with... A forethought. It may not have been done with malice, so it may not be first-degree murder, but it was done with a forethought. See, I think these are good people. They just got caught up in this whole atmosphere. It was done with a forethought. They sat in a room with each other and said, don't tell them any of the bad consequences that could come of this war because we really want to do this. I don't think it was just like that. Tell me what wasn't like that.
Well, I think it was more talking about what's the strongest possible case we can make. It was talking about what we do put in there. We really want to do this. Well, it could cost $200 billion. Don't mention that. You're in there? Thousands of people may die. Yeah, you might not want to bring that up. What if they call me in front of Congress to testify about it? Just f***ing say something. That's good stuff, man. That's all really good stuff. Last night on Late Show with David Letterman, Sandler was on, and I want to play that for you in just a little bit, so don't go away. Austin Rob got laughing gas for the first time yesterday. How was it? I've never had that. It was magical, man. Oh, no. What was it all about? What was it all about? Yeah, like, what is it? They put a mask on your face? Yeah, right over your nose.
It's like a medical... There he is. There's a clip of Boston Rob yesterday in the dentist chair. That's what I was literally doing when he walked in. I was like, I'm on top of the world. I'm floating. This is great. Go ahead. Do whatever you want. Is that nitrous oxide? Yes. Wow. It doesn't work with me. It doesn't, Eddie? No. It had no effect on me. That's great. It doesn't put you out. Uh-uh. And it doesn't make you... Uh-uh. Laffy. It did nothing for me. It makes that whole experience so much better. Really? If it works on you. Because I was going in there and I had just nailed the back of my tooth with my toothbrush. So, I mean, it went full irritation again, throbbing, like pounding. My medicine hadn't kicked in. And, you know, they saw the pain I was in. And I was going in there for, like, a checkup plus, like, a full cleaning. And, like, they were going to be... Tell us again what's the matter with you. I get an abscess assist, two impacted wisdom teeth. And then I need a root canal on the tooth. I already had a root canal on. And three cavities to boot. Yeah. Oh, forgot about those. Ouchie. This guy's going to tell you a little bit about cricket. Well, Mike, I love him. Why? And their mascot is Pedro, and he's the cricket. I love him because you don't have to sign a contract to get cricket wireless service. Also, with Cricket, they have their $50 unlimited rate plan. It's a Mikey show. It's 9-0-4. The cause of the Universal Studios fire has been determined. It was accidentally started by roofing workers. You guys want to see Rob freak out? Uh-oh. Oh. I don't know. I don't know. You want to? I know. I know, yeah. No, I don't. David Ortiz, Big Papi, is headed to the Disable List. He could have season-ending wrist surgery, all because Boston Rob drafted him on his fantasy baseball game. Why'd you do that, dude? That's bad luck. Why'd you do it? No. You going to write him a letter and say you're sorry? Yeah, does anybody got his address? I'll do it. I know it's my fault. I don't know why you got to bring that up, Eddie. This text message says, Eddie, dude, we need your wisdom to finish an argument. Batman versus Green Lantern. Well, I'm not a big DC guy, but I can respond on this. I do know those two characters. What is the Green Lantern's powers? He has a ring and can create stuff. Is he black? It's green. One of the incarnations was a black man, yes. But he can only create green things? Yes. Like broccoli? No. It can be a car, but it has to be a green car. Go green! Okay. Which is a pretty cool power because he can make like a sword or a green bazooka. He can prevent global warming.
He could make a green Batman to fight the normal Batman. It's kind of true. I would hate that character. I love him already. Man, he'd be my least favorite. The kid inside me is screaming out right now. That's dumb. Really? No, Green Lantern's pretty cool. It is cool. But all he does is make green stuff. But it's good. Okay. You could basically do anything, and it's got to be that color. Like, what's the disadvantage? Oh, well, it's green. Right? And he's, like, allergic to yellow. I'm not kidding. Sean? How do you expect us to be serious if you're not going to be? It's true. It is true that he has trouble fighting things that are yellow. That's why Sinestro, his archenemy, his powering generates yellow. Well, all Batman has to do is dress in yellow, and he's good. He does have some yellow on. You know, the bat signals. So does it mess up Green Lantern? Well, here's what's going to happen, Mike, in the fight. I believe Batman will use one of his batarangs or something from the utility belt to knock the ring off of Green Lantern's hand, and then he'll be able to defeat him easily. Batman wins. Well, it seems so ridiculous because, to me, the Green Lantern can win anything. He makes a nuclear bomb. It's green. Oh, okay, cool. I mean, his ring doesn't have that kind of power. Yeah, it doesn't quite work that way. You guys said...
He makes something, but it has to be green. You can't make something intricate like a bomb, dude. That has millions of little moving parts. So you can only make things that are solid, like an anvil. He can make an anvil, a sword. He can make a giant hand to crush someone, a shield. He can make a force field, lift things, move things. A giant sledgehammer. Yeah. I'm so out on that guy. The Green Lantern's awesome. Nobody will. can talk me into that guy. You would like him. Watch Super Friends. I don't like that he just does. I want him to make other stuff. Like what? Blue things? No. I want him to make a tank. He can do that. See, that's not fair then. He's making it and it's just green. It's green, but it has to be green. Yeah, it's got to be green. 570-1053. The reason I give the phone number out is because of this. A party. My son counts to 20 in English and Spanish. It's the cutest thing I've ever heard. It's so cute. He's a genius, man. It's so cute hearing him count in Spanish. All the way to 20? Yeah. That's impressive. The kid is smart. He's a real smart boy. Really smart. Sweetheart of a kid. He minds well. I want to hear him do that. Yeah, yeah. That is great. Let's see. Let's do a little Wuss Rock jukebox. Here's the way that it works.
Call us at 570-1053 if you're a guy, but you must know Wuss Rock songs. I'm talking like, you know, Open Arms by Journey. Oh, yes. A classic Wuss Rock song. So you call in and we'll play a clip of the song and the song will abruptly stop. And when it stops, you start. You take over and start singing. There's only two rules. One rule is that you cannot say, I can't hear it. And then the other rule. is that if you don't know the lyrics to the song, make something up that's clever. Yeah. You will be an instant loser if you sing, I don't know the words to the song. You're done. Well said. Be clever. Be creative. Come on. If you're not clever and creative, it's no big whoop. Just don't call. BLB, Mike. Bring your own libelous. What is BLB? Be like Buckley. Be like Buckley. I like it. BLB.
Listen, when we play West Rock Jukebox, BLB. Yep. Okay? Yeah. You like Buckley. P1 Josh is on the line. Yes, he is. Hi, Josh. Josh, how are you? Good. How about you? I'm doing pretty good. You sound very laid back right now. Yeah, I'm digging a hole. Yeah. Eddie's shaking his head. I can already tell. You're out already. What? What? Listen. What's up? Eddie, are you? Are you trying to say, Eddie, that because he sounds so laid back, you just don't see him having any personality when he gets to the singing part? I'm worried he's too cool for school to really go for it. I kind of hear that, too. Hey, man, two words, Chris Cornell. That's right. He's real cool, laid back, but then when he sings, he melts it the heck out. That's right. So, Josh, let me ask you, when this clip stops, you're going to start singing, right? Yep. Maybe we can believe in Josh. I'm going to tell you this right now, Josh. When you're done singing, you will be judged by Eddie, Sky, and Sean. And they're going to be judging you on how effeminate you sound. If you're not a wuss rocker, you're done. Mike, my gay stinks are not tingling. They're not? I don't know. We'll see. I'll give them a try. Here we go, Josh. I mean, he... Oh, no. See, Eddie? Calm down, Eddie. Just calm down a little bit. Listen, I was...
partially wrong about him, and I am a man, and I can admit it. He went for it, but he didn't know the words. Like, that's the point of the game, is to know the words. But aren't you supposed to make something up if you don't know? But he didn't. He went, like baby talk. Did you, Josh, were you saying something, or were you just making sounds? No, I said, is this love that I feel? Something like that. Okay, yeah, Eddie's right. Eddie? Yeah, the tone. Basically, Mike, I feel that we are taking advantage of the law in California where we can get married, but we're not gay. We're just doing it for the benefit. Got it. Got it. I see what you're saying. Sky? See, I really liked his tone. I mean, the tone was dead on. Dead on. Like, I feel he gave it 100% of what he had. Come on. You even were singing the lyrics along with it. Well, yeah. Everybody knows the lyrics to that song. Everybody does. Everybody does. That Lithuanian guy that got stuck in the chair. He knew it. He knew it. He probably was singing it to try to get out of there. That's what happened. Yeah. That's what caused. To get him loose. To get him loose. He was like.
But at the same time, I do believe we've made it clear if you do not know the lyrics, you should make up funny lyrics, which did not happen here. No, it didn't. So I'm very sorry you're not gay. Oh, no. Sean. Tread lightly, bro. I mean. That's right. Oh, no. Like he didn't even try. Oh, he did. Wow. Wow. Wow. That's it. This falsetto was terrible. Yeah, that was. That was. He didn't even know the words. Sounds like Dylan from 90210. So, Mike, I hope that he gets severe badgerism. Badgerism? I don't know, but I love it. I love it. I bet you badgerism is something. I hope he gets upside down, inverted fallen arches. I hope he gets...
These are really bad pork toes. Sorry about that, Josh. Josh, it's a no. I'm sorry, but it's a no. Pew and Drew. Here we go. Drew, I don't know what to think. I'm feeling good about this one. How old are you, Drew? I'm 22. What do you do for a living? I'm an operations manager for a construction company. Yeah, you are. I don't know, dude. Yeah. Construction, Eddie? Village people? Ever hear of it? Oh, village people. I forgot. That's one of the village people. Construction guy. If you were a Cherokee Indian, I'd be thinking, too, that you'd be doing well. Or a cop. Or in the Navy. Oh, there it is. I'm a construction guy. Okay. Drew, do you know your Wuss Rock songs? Yes, I do. Okay. I like it. When the song stops, you start. Here we go. I love it.
I have to say that he got the first part right. I couldn't understand the second part. I think it sounded like his phone gave out. Not his fault. I had another call. It's not his fault. Yeah, it's not his fault. It's not his fault. I think he got the song. Yeah, you tell your friend they were almost ruined it for you. I'm calling you like... Oh, you can tell your boss to shove it. We know who was calling. Yeah, we know who was calling. Eddie, who was calling. Well, here's the deal. I do think that he was... He's an effeminate, he's an effeminate man. Uh, I, no question about it. Um, I, I kind of feel like, uh, you know, when, how excited Clay Aiken was to impregnate that woman. Yeah. Like that's how excited I am right now to say that this guy's a winner. Wow. Wow. That almost took a, like I was going down one way and then like it took a turn. I was like, oh, you're pregnant. Yeah, Skye. Who knew? Right? I have feelings. What are you feeling, Skye? Well, I enjoyed that first part. Right. And even though the phone did cut out, I feel that he would have lost it at that point. Whoa! I feel he did not know the lyrics beyond what he sang.
And I feel that it was his girlfriend calling in. No way. No way. I'm sorry. That means it's all up to Sean. Eddie said yes. Guy said no. That means it's all up to Sean. Come on, big. I just checked my call. It was actually Dr. Wayne. Oh, wow. Who would have thought that he'd be calling? Hello. That kind of tells you something. Well, we'll have to take that into account. I thought he started off very strong. Okay. But then in the end, there's the question, right? Sean has his hands together for the record. May I please? May I please? May I please? Okay. May I please? And up to his chin. All right. Pretty weird. However, I do have some inside information. Hands are in steeple position. Go ahead, Sean. I found out that this particular gentleman...
Pride for days after Dancing with the Stars finished their season. You are monumentally gay. Way to go. Twinkle Toes. Nice. P1 Dirt Pusher is on the line. Hi, Dirt Pusher. Well said. Just give him the award now. Wait a minute. Bulldozer. Something else. P1 Dirt Pusher, are you ready to play a little Wuss Rock jukebox? Oh, I'm definitely ready. All my coworkers get mad at me because I sing so much. Sweet. How old are you? I'm 22. And what do you do for a living? I push dirt for the Marine Corps. Gotcha. Don't tell. Well, all I'm going to tell you is at 22 years old, I don't know if you're going to know this song, but we're going to give it a shot. If you don't know the song when it ends,
You better start singing something, and it better be creative. All right. It might not be the same song, but I'll belt something. Okay. Here we go. You know, he who dealt it smelt it. I forgot. Here we go. I'm rocking. I'll rock you to the end of the night. Yeah. Eddie. Good energy. Love the energy. Love the enthusiasm. Eddie, I loved yours. I want to say that. That's a great song, Mike. Eddie was... What was he doing? He was so furiously doing Broadway moves. But not just that. What was the brilliance in his performance, Eddie's performance, was that as he was doing these very sharp Broadway moves, his face was almost angry. I mean, it was so serious. It was such serious intensity in Eddie's face. It was almost like, you know, just...
He kept it fierce. Yeah. It's really important. Eddie, what did you think of P1 Dirt Pusher? Like I said, love the enthusiasm. Didn't know a lick of the lyrics. The lyrics that he made up weren't funny, which are the rules of the game. Boy, I don't know where to go with this one. I think that you remain a dirt pusher and not a mud pusher. All right. Wow. Wow. How dare you, Eddie? Sky, what did you think? I'm really torn because, I mean, the enthusiasm he showed for the song. I mean, the energy, actually. I mean, really. It was a beautiful thing. You know, I kind of compare it to, like, when you're singing a song in the car and you don't really know the lyrics, but you're so into it, you just keep going. Is that what this game has become?
You just influenced her for sure. What are you doing? The integrity of the game, Mike, is what I care about. The integrity of the game. B-L-B. Be like Buckley. It's perfect. Did you hear it yourself? But... I do have to say that I was a little underwhelmed. Sky, who influenced you? You were about to make a winner there. I'm sorry, Eddie. The peer pressure was too great. Sean? Dude, you know, it was really awful. Wow. It was really terrible. It was unimpressive, uninspired. It was a waste of time. I hope you get warlock hump. What? Ashley Giant Hand Syndrome. Does it exist? I hope you get Wiggly Colons. Okay, thank you for the call. Guy had badgerism. What can I tell you? What do you do? Call it a day. That's all you can do. Well, first of all, the experience. The experience in the database. They hook up with all these other AMCOs with guys that know exactly what problems are going on. And when they experience something that they don't know about, which isn't often, they can go on there and figure it out. AMCO is the only place you want to go. It's AMCO. Double A. Beep, beep. MCO. It's another Mikey Dumb Chick Challenge. Rob's on drugs and he's still got Pittsburgh. Rob is on a... I didn't hear that. Rob, your two-point question is, in which sport...
Do people compete for the America's Cup? I'm going to say tennis. That is incorrect, Rob. America's Cup is sailing. No, no, it's sailing, Ashley. Sailing's not a sport. And while we're at it... It's the drugs talking. Sailors, don't take a bet. America's not ready for a black president. Wait, what? The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey Show. It is 9.34. Amy Winehouse was in court yesterday to support her husband and was acting inappropriately. The Major's best team, the Cubs, came to town yesterday and beat the Padres 76. No, come on. Doesn't sound right. Before we went to break, I told you that we were going to tell you what band is going to be getting their own version of Guitar Hero next year. Let me guess.
Go ahead, Eddie. I'm going to say The Knack. It is not The Knack. Good guess. I'm going to say Wall of Voodoo. No, it is not Wall of Voodoo either. I'm going to say The Vapors. No, it is not The Vapors. I'm going to say Strawberry Alarm Clock. No, it's Boomtown Rats. Really? No, it isn't. It's an A-lister. Oh, you didn't say that. Now that you know that, give me a guess. Trickster. Not correct. Dang it. It's bread. Oh, so good. They rock. Mm-hmm. Sky, who is it? Coming out in the first part of 2009 is Guitar Hero Metallica. Oh. Think about it. That's badass. That would be great. Red, green, red, yellow, orange. Oh, dude, you're so good. Yeah.
So realistic. What up? Can't reach the yellow. Eddie, you know that Rob hates Guitar Hero. He's never played it, that's why. Oh, cool. Rob somehow feels angry about it because he's like, people that play Guitar Hero, it's like they think they can play guitar. He thinks that's the feeling they have, is that they're playing guitar. No, I think they should pick up a guitar. Yes, he thinks that they should, instead of playing Guitar Hero, why don't you play guitar? Now, Rob, what is the difference between that and somebody playing a video game that is a shooter game and you saying what they should do is go to the shooting range and get a shotgun? They should. If you play Madden, you should be in the NFL. Is that it, Rob? Is that it? Like, if you play Madden, you should be outside playing football? No, but I mean... No, wait a minute. Wait a minute. How do you say no? Because Guitar Hero is basically the same thing as playing guitar, except it's like a little Tickle Me Elmo guitar where you're just pressing buttons. Tickle Me Elmo. I mean, I do think that, yeah, if you're going to be playing some football, you should go outside. I'm all for that. I'm all... Well, who isn't? I'm all for going outside, playing cats. What's the point of video games at all, then? Guitar Hero is stupid. Nah, right.
It all comes back to that. Stupid planet. It all comes back to that. You'll play it. You'll play it with me. No, I absolutely will not. How much do you want to bet you will? I ain't got a lot of money, but I'll bet all that I got in my bank account. Okay, we'll see. You'll come over to my new house and be like, oh, that looks fun. Oh, yeah. Let's make a bet. I will never play that game. You'll see how we're playing it and you'll be like, dang, that looks fun. Green, yellow, orange. He would love it. You'd love it. I would not. Eddie, have you played it? Have you been playing it? I haven't hooked it up to the new system yet. You got it? I want to see what it's like. Oh, I will. I got it for his birthday. I thought he would like it. I thought he would like playing Guitar Hero. See, Mike, I can appreciate what you're doing. You're getting a guitar. You're going out there. You're putting hard work and effort into it. What's wrong with playing a game? One's a game. One's actually playing guitar. What's wrong with playing? I'm not playing guitar. You look stupid. Hang on a second.
You're rocking around with a little plastic guitar. Rob, but that is assuming that people say to themselves, you know what? I really want to play guitar. But since I don't have time for that, I think I'll go get Guitar Hero. How do you not have time to play guitar, but you got time to play Guitar Hero? Maybe he's right there. You know, Rob, you just convinced me. Get yourself a guitar. I was the only person. There was one human being in the world, it was me, that liked the album Sane Anger. I was the only person. You were that guy. I was. I thought it was a good album. I liked the way it sounded like they recorded it in a garage. I liked how they sounded like a garage band. I liked how it sounded like a demo. I liked how stripped down it was. I thought it was aggressive. You don't dig that, Sky? Well, it sounds pretty cool, but it's not something I would purchase. play around my house. No. Eddie, you hated it, right? I didn't like the fact that every song was 15 minutes long. Yeah. You know, there was stuff I liked about the songs and there was stuff I didn't. You listened to it as you didn't listen to it enough times. You gotta take the album and listen about two or three times. I did two or three times. Yeah, you gotta listen two or three times. You gotta let it resonate. Yeah, okay.
Album has to rest in me. But, Lars, we're five minutes into this song and you haven't sang anything yet. There you go, Lars. Yeah, James' vocals started about eight and a half minutes. Great. Yeah, it's going to be a long wait. We'll just keep hanging out. So they're coming out and getting their own version of Guitar Hero. Mm-hmm. And that will be next year. Yep. George Takai is talking about how he met his partner and their wedding plans. Oh. Yeah. As a fellow gay man. It's very romantic. He says he met his partner. At a Barnes & Noble. Really? Barnes & Noble? Yes, that's right. What were you doing there? I was looking for L.L. Bean catalogs. In Barnes & Noble? In Barnes & Noble. That doesn't make sense. Yes, they have a used section for catalogs. They do not. I've never seen that. I've been to a few. Or maybe it was the library that I was at. George. No, I remember.
It was a gay bar. Would you like me to refresh your memory, George? It was called The Bean. The Bean. L.L. Bean. Well, what I read, George. You wouldn't be eating at a place called, drinking at a place called The Bean. How do you know what I would do? It's actually a bean bag. That's more like it. It was called the Big Bad. But actually what I read, George, is that you worked out with a running club and your partner was the best looking guy there. But you were on more skates, right? Luckily he was a Trek fan. There was a lot more good looking men there, but I had the in because I played. Captain Stubink. And he also loved my singing voice. On our first date, I did this, and one did, two, one, two, three, look into my eyes, and you will see what you are doing.
It's hard to hit that note. It kind of has a very limited range. But Takai says that he was the leanest, tightest, muscled guy in the room. And it really caught his eye. They plan to marry September 14th in L.A. They've already bossed. You guys having like a theme wedding? Yes, we are. What do you got working? Disney. Really? What are you going as? I'm going as Red Riding Hood. No, that's not a dumpty character. That isn't. You need to rethink that. Maybe Belle or the Little Mermaid or something. Oh, you'd look great as the Little Mermaid. Which do you think I should do, Belle or the Little Mermaid? Um... I'm thinking you're more of like a Jasmine. Oh, that's true. And we can have your honey be Aladdin. Yeah. And be like an Aladdin theme. That's a great idea. Thanks. I'm a wedding coordinator. I don't think that's a good idea. Why is that? I don't want to be mistaken as a terrorist or something like this nature. That is a good point. You know what I mean? Yeah. I do know what you mean. You do?
Well, Sakai and his partner have already bought themselves their turquoise and silver wedding rings. Son of a gun. That is hot. And they've talked about some people who will be in their wedding party. How about Fox and the Hound? That is creepy. I'll be the Hound. No, we know. We shouldn't discuss that. Chekhov will be the best man. Hello. He will be your best man. Uhura will be the matron of honor. This is so weird. They say Leonard Nimoy is invited. He's still alive? Yes. But William Shatner will not be getting an invitation. Why? I don't know. They don't say why. Well, because he's a heroin addict. You can't say that, George. Don't say things like that, George. The theme of our wedding will be lady in the tram. Guess which one I'll be. You guys going to share spaghetti? Yes, we are. Aw, that's sweet. We'll meet in the middle. Sounds very romantic. I heard that's how you met. Yes, we did. Although it wasn't spaghetti. He meant it was fettuccine. Yes. Fettuccine. 944. I meant fettuccine. Yes. No. I don't deserve it. You do. So there it is. Yep. Okay, Eddie. Call it.
My wife said that sex and the city is two and a half hours long. Which is so weird because I checked on the thing before I went to go see it and it was an hour 45. Okay. I thought it was less than two hours. Did she see the Criterion Edition? Yes. I don't know. She wrote me and she said it was two and a half hours long and not long enough. Ew. That's such... That can't be right. She must be talking about Iron Man. 570-1053 is our phone number. Call us at the beginning and end of every show. Oh, wait a minute. We're not wrapping up. No, we're not, Mike. I thought we were wrapping up. I don't know. I don't know why I thought we were wrapping up. I don't know any of this. Early lunch. Let's see. David Ortiz is headed to the DL. Oh, Mike.
I'm sorry. You know why? Why? Rob drafted him on his fantasy baseball. Why would he do that, Rob? That's bad luck. That's bad luck. That's really bad luck. I mean, do you find it weird that Rob drafted basically the Boston Red Sox on his fantasy baseball team? And that this is the year that the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are in first place in his division. They've had a great young team. Yeah, but do you see? Listen, after the All-Star break, they start doing good. He's a hothead. Then you know what? Then come and see me. He's a hothead. Oh, my gosh. I don't know what to tell you. He's a hothead. Well, I don't understand. Is that a coincidence? Is it? I don't know. Is it? It happens all day back in the office after this. No. You're the one that is saying stuff. You shouldn't talk. Do you think it's wise that you're wearing that Celtics jersey today? Yes. Oh, dude, you just jinxed Boston. No, I didn't. You just jinxed the Celtics. Oh, boy. You're like ruining the entire city. Wow. All right, question. No. Question. Sky? Yeah, hello. What team? Oh, not this again.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Are you ready? I'm going to try. What team did Dan Fouts play for? I have no clue what even sport we're talking about. You are an embarrassment to our city. The Chargers. Yes, that is correct, Sky. You're brutal. Eddie gave it away. Eddie gave it away. You didn't even know it was sport. Well, no, I didn't. Let me ask you another one. But how you were so offended, gave it away. Sky, what team? Yeah. did Pete Rose play for? Ooh, okay. This is my favorite new game. This is baseball. And again, I'm seeing red. Are you mad? And I'm seeing the C, which is the Cardinals? The team? The Cardinals. Hey, listen, you're close. Well, she saw the C, she saw the red. Cincinnati Reds. See? Dang it. You were close. You were close.
Emmett Smith. Dancing with the Stars. Come on. You're on the 49ers? Ever? Ever? Your husband just kicked his radio. So mad. He's so mad. I'm sorry, Bill. So mad. He has a right to be mad at that one. The complete opposite. Emmett Smith. Raiders? No. No, he was a Dallas Cowboy. Jerry Rice. Jerry Rice. She knows that. Yeah, I know that one. You have to. Ashley, are you any good at this game? I knew Emmitt Smith. You knew Emmitt Smith? Bo Jackson. And I know Jerry Rice. There's no way that they'll know Bo Jackson. Do either of you know Bo Jackson? No. Sounds familiar. Sounds like a musician. Sounds like a baseball player. Bo Jackson was a Raider. Before he was on the Giants, what team did Barry Bonds play for? No way. There's no way. The Pirates. Thank you. Thank you. Good job. Thank you.
I'm proud of you on that one. Well, because they show the old footage of him when they compare, like, the tree trunk neck to the, like, little baby neck. Size of his head. And, yeah, and he's always wearing that little pea hat. Sky. Cy Young. When he was alive, when he was alive, can you tell me what Dale Earnhardt's number was? It's very famous. That's the only reason. Oh, it's dad. Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s dad. Okay. Dale Earnhardt, the greatest ever. It's very famous, this number. 51. That is not right. He was number three. Oh, I was close. Ashley was given this sign for 44. 48. No, just eight. Eight is his son. Eight is his son. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was number eight. Was. Yes. Now he's number eight. You're right. Sky, can you tell me what football team Walter Payton played for? Wow. She just threw her arms up. Now, this was a question, sort of, in Battle of the Sexes. We asked what his nickname was. The team was talked about during that time. What is nickname? Should I tell her what the nickname was? Yeah. Sweetness. Sweetness. Remember when Chantel got all crazy? Yeah. Like she does. She does get out of control. Tell me about it. And I know you're listening, Chantel. Girl, you're tripping.
I say Green Bay. It was not Green Bay's arch rival. Oh, that's why I said that. Chicago Bears. All right, Skye, I'm going to give you the first name of a boxer, and you're going to give me the last name. You are the worst with this game. Are you ready? Yes. Lennox. Lewis. Evander. Holyfield. Let's see. Thomas the Hitman. No. That was his name. Thomas the Hitman Jefferson. She's technically right. Well, actually, that was our president's nickname. Yeah. Chantel's on the phone. Oh, look at that. You're in trouble. You're in trouble. No, you didn't. No, you didn't. Look at here. Don't get crazy. You are straight tripping. You are. That is so funny. Do you remember Sweetness? Do you remember Sweetness? Yeah, you do. I do. Remember Walter Payton?
Whatever. She was so mad at that question. She was so mad. That's the best. Ask her something. She won't know. All right, let me ask you. You ready to play this game? I'm going to give you the famous sports athlete, and you have to tell me who they played for. Are you ready? Yes. Larry Bird. Larry Bird. I want to say he was a Celtic. You are correct. Oh, yeah. Now, these are present and these are former athletes. Are you ready? Yes. My heart's beating fast. All right. It is... Your famous athlete is... Karl Malone. Karl Malone. Karl Malone. Karl Malone. I know who that is. I don't even know what sport that is. Skye, you know that name, Karl Malone, right? Negative. No? How about you, Ashley? Do you know? Sounds... really familiar. I wonder how many ladies in the audience are doing this. It sounds familiar to them, but they just don't know. Carl Malone. Okay, I think he's basketball. You are correct. And I think he played... What's his freaking team, though? Think about it. Just hold on there. Think about it. You are the worst. Yep. Oh, my God. I don't know. Can I just say that...
Sons? No. The Utah Jazz. That's why I ring a bell. That's right. You're my favorite team. What? That's your boyfriend's name. No, it's mine. Utah Jazz is my favorite team, too. You want another one? Yeah. All right. Tell me what team this person played for. Oh, gosh. Lawrence Taylor. Lawrence Taylor. Jason, he's Dolphin. Oh, my. Will you please? So she gets it right. Please? Come on, Chantel. You are an embarrassment. Come on. Lawrence Taylor. I really don't know. The New York Giants, LT. You're really giving me LT? That's a trick question. No, it's Lawrence Taylor. How? Is that a trick question? It's Lawrence Taylor. He's like the all-time great.
Okay, I got another one for you. All right, I got another one for you. Are you ready? Yeah. Joe Theismann. Oh, man. Perfect. Joe Theismann? She's offended by the question. What is this guy? Oh, come on. You love to give me people who were before I was born. Joe Theismann. Let me give you the answer. Joe Theismann is a quarterback. Very famous quarterback for? The Washington Redskins. Eddie? Current player, Larry Johnson. Larry Johnson. Larry Johnson. Larry Johnson. Is she on a CB? Yeah, are you talking on your CB right now? No, I'm looking out my window. All right, come on. You got this one, girl. I know you do. Come on, girl. Girl? Tiesman. No, not Tiesman anymore. We moved on to Larry Johnson. Bless her heart. Larry Johnson. Oh, gosh.
Larry Johnson. Larry Johnson. Yes. Oh, that doesn't make a difference. You're the best. On the rock. Mikey, maybe Ashley looked at the run time for sex in the city and saw 145 minutes, which is two hours and 25 minutes. Oh, that's how that works out.
I was wondering because I thought I got out a little late. Yes. It is not an hour and 45 minutes. It is 145 minutes, which is different. Listen, it's a simple mistake. It's a simple mistake. Antiojos de sol. Antiojos de sol. Antiojos de sol. Oh, you just spit all over the microphone. Espanol. Thank you, Sky. Michael from Lost claims racism in regards to his character. I don't enjoy this. Huh? I don't enjoy this. How does that make any sense? He says the only reason that he's on the show is because he's black. That's not funny.
Reverse racism. That is not what he said. Yeah, he did an interview with TV Guide when they were asking him, you know, how he felt about his character being blown up during the season finale of Lost. And he said, quote, listen, if I'm being really candid, there are all these questions about how they respond to black people on the show. Saeed gets to meet Nadia again and Desmond and Penny hook up again. But a little black boy and his father hooking up, that wasn't interesting. Oh, come on. No way. Instead, Walt just winds up being another fatherless child and plays into a really big, weird stereotype and being a black person myself that wasn't so interesting, end quote. Patty, what do you make of that one? Dude, well, first of all, he's obviously bitter that his character died. But Lost is a very diverse show. I mean, they have... They have, you know, Arab Americans. They have all kinds of different, you know, different kind of. Fat dudes. Fat people. Yeah, I mean, they don't discriminate against anybody. They really try to cover everyone. For him to claim that is just pathetic. Well, and basically the show's executive producer is saying exactly what Eddie's saying. So the actor's name, his real name is Harold. And so the executive producer says, quote, we pride ourselves on having a very racially diverse cast.
It's painful when any actor's storyline ends on the show. Harold is a fantastic actor whose presence added enormously on Lost, end quote. There's no Mexican. George Bush doesn't care about black people. Yes, there is, Beto. Yeah, Hugo. Hugo's not Mexican. Yes, he is. Yeah, his dad's Cheech, man. I mean, what more do you want? He's not Mexican, dude. Fatsican. Wait, that's not nice. That is not nice. Not nice at all. Yeah, dude. He's not your traditional Mexican, though. What is that? Like on cut, like me, dude. Wait, you're not. You're like skinny little twerp. That's traditional? A true Mexican looks this good in Calvins, bro. We are Calvins? Yeah. Calvin Boxers coming up outside of my baggy jeans. Whoa, you pants up, bro. Yeah, dude, check out my ripped abs, bro. I don't want to. And you don't have ripped abs. You're a teenager. No, I'm not, dude. I'm like, I just turned 26. That is not true. Okay, subtract eight from that, and there you go. I just got hired, dude, by the Border Patrol. You did. Doing what?
What do you mean? Well, you're 14. What could you be doing for them? ATV patrol. No, you're not. You're a liar. I got my uniform, Uncle Eddie. Let me see it. I can't. It's in my car. You don't even have a car. It's in your car. Yeah, dude. You mean your bike? I don't ride a bike. Every day I see you rolling here. Fine, dude. Watch what happens when I ask for your green card. I don't have a green card. I rolled up on these guys coming across the border yesterday. I was like, what's up? I was all, what's up? And they were like, whoa. In Spanish, dude, they were all, whoa, that guy's cut. And I walked up to them. I'm all, what's up? Now you're my lady, huh? You always say that. You talk with papas. I'm just kidding, dude. I don't work for the Border Patrol. Oh, really? They won't hire me because of my criminal past. Your criminal past? You're just a little boy. Four felonies, dude. Remember that one time you got in trouble where you were trying to snake that beef jerky at a 7-Eleven and you started crying to the police officer and he finally let you go because you were crying so much? Yeah, you were crying like a baby. Yeah, I mean, it was embarrassing.
Because I was taking medication, dude. I was taking medication because I had a... You have chronic dry eyes like your uncle? I just have to go there, T.S. guy. I was saying, your Uncle Mikey, he's got the chronic dry eyes. Check it out, dude. I have a felony for getting chicks pregnant. I have a felony. Hey, dude, I have a felony for not wearing prophylactics. I have a felony. You've never even kissed a girl, Beto. Dude, I have a felony for being sexy without underwear. I have a felony. I've been charged for that myself. Okay, Eddie. All right, Ben. He needs to relax. Guy needs to relax. Boy, that comment Sky made was out of line, wasn't it? I thought so. That was just unnecessary. I'll tell you that much. It's hereditary. At least she didn't comment about Jehela's arms. Yes. Okay. Do you mean like she did at dinner? Yeah. The other night? I did.
Who did? Was that at dinner? No, that was at the sumo wrestling match. Oh, that's right. Remember in front of everybody? She's like, oh, look, you don't have any hair on yours. That's so cool. That's so cool. Give me a break. That's like me being like, saying to a chick, oh, look, you have a mustache, but it's cool. It's kind of cool. It's like it's tough. Check it out, man. You're like Magnum P.I. That's awesome. Yeah, he was like a private investigator. So good. Let's see. Pittsburgh forces a game six beating Detroit in three overtimes. I guess that's hockey. Is that hockey? It is hockey. Wow. NHL finals. Shut up. Yeah, forget about it.
No way. Yeah, triple overtime, one of the longest games in finals history. Oh, nothing better than a hockey game than a three or four or five hour hockey game. I know that that gets the hockey fans. I know, I know. Makes people mad. Makes people mad. The hockey fans are really into it. I understand that. We don't get it. That's the thing. That's what the hockey fans will tell you. You know, we don't get it. But we don't. I mean, a lot of America doesn't get it. That's why you don't see it on the networks because the audience wasn't there. We don't get it. They tried it. They tried putting it on television. It's just that not very many people were watching it. Oh, because it was terrible. Maybe it's a better game to watch in person. It absolutely is. I love going to hockey games. It's fun when you're there. The designer of the Pringles can has been buried in a can of Pringles. Wait, what? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The guy that designed the can, you know? No. He worked for Procter & Gamble back in the day, and he came up with the idea.
You know, for the Pringles can. And he recently died. But he died a rich man. Was cremated. Well, he worked for Procter & Gamble. So he didn't get, like, all the money? I don't know. But when you work for a company and you invent something, they're the ones who get to hold the patent on it. But you get 100% of every can sold after that point. No. My dad worked for IBM and invented some stuff. And he got a nice piece of paper that showed, you know. It's called the computer. Maybe you've heard of it. The internet might. My father, hello, escape key, my dad. Tab. Yeah, hello. Have I heard of it? Right here. Control, alt, delete, hello. But so the guy passed away. What did your dad do? He was a computer programmer. And he didn't get any residual dough for that? No, he came up with, you know, I think he may have gotten a little bonus. And then they print out, they give you, like, they frame a copy of the patent, but the company that you work for actually holds the patent. That's messed up. No. Yeah, so. If you have the idea for something, the dude that invented the Pringles can, he should have gotten a penny for every can of Pringles. Right? Yeah, I don't think so. No? No. You don't think that's worth that? Why don't you think so? How come?
I think it's worth it. Sometimes they do that. I mean, I think that's nice. I think he should have, but I don't think that's how it went down. No, no, no. It didn't. It definitely didn't. Pay attention. No. I don't know. I just say this. I go. Who are you? Besides a Pringles can, name something else that has like a very definitive. Because if I put paper around the Pringles can and I held it up and said, what is this? You go, it's a Pringles can. Yeah. There's got to be something else. Post-it. Post-it. Dude, you know what I heard about the Post-it note? That it was a mistake. It was an accident. They were trying to develop something else, and the stickiness of a Post-it note turned out to be an accident, but they were like, maybe we could... Hey. Wait a second. You know, on the Mac, they got this thing called Stickies. Here, check it out on my Mac. Come down here on the bottom. You click on this thing, stickies. And up comes what looks like a post-it note. I just unplugged my internet. I just unplugged my sticky. All right, check it out. All right, so you come over here and you go, give me a sticky. So here's your little sticky, right, Skye? Little yellow guy. And you can change the color to whatever you want. And you type little notes on there. I got that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just wanted to show you, okay? So it looks like sticky notes stuck to your screen, right? That is genius. Wow. What's up, Mike? I used to write notes on actual stickies, and I look like Russell Crowe from A Beautiful Mind. You should see my studio right now. Dude, they're all over, right? They're everywhere. They're everywhere. This is what I've yet to go through of old reminders. I just want to make sure I got them all. Oh, my gosh. There's about 15. So check this out. So I got the Mac and I started putting the Post-it notes on there. There's something about writing it on the thing. I've gone back now to writing it on the Post-it note. Yeah. It's all that works for me. Why are our brains like that? I wonder why we work that way. But there's something about that Post-it note that's real cool. It's good times. Yeah, we like it. Genius. Good times. Do you use it, Eddie? All the time. At home? Not as much at home as I do here. How do you and your wife handle, like, leaving messages for each other? Either somebody called, which, by the way, my wife and I do not have. We've been married three years. We don't have an effective there was a message for you on the answering machine method. After three years, we still do not have an effective memory. That's crazy. That's how we try to, and you know me. So does that work out? That doesn't work out. No. Honey, Lori called?
Oh, yeah, babe, I'm sorry. Lori called. And then you say it. Then you say it like, oh, yeah, Lori called. There. You're done. Yeah, but I just told you that Lori called. Yes, I'm on the phone. You didn't tell me that Lori called. So we don't have an effective system of that. So, Eddie, how do you and your wife, but what about this, when you leave so early and you want to leave her a message or something? Well, Nobody calls our house phone, which I love. So, you know, if anybody wants to get a hold of her, they call her cell phone. So we don't really run into that problem very much. I'd never leave her notes or anything. If I really wanted to tell her something, I'd just text it to her. And she has her phone turned off at night, so it's not going to wake her up. Yeah. Skye, how do you do it? We don't answer our home phone. So if there's ever a message... You don't answer your home phone? No, we do not. Our answering machine is on two rings. Well, why do you have a phone plugged in if you're not going to answer it? In case aliens shoot down all the satellites. That's a good plan. I like it. Not bad. So everybody calls your cell, so you don't answer it. Yeah. Do you have an answering machine hooked up to it? Yeah. Two rings. What if you were to get a message? Then he would leave it on there. Or I would leave it on there. See, we don't have a way to... Oh, there's a message on the machine. I wish that we had a way to press a button and it says that...
there's still a message but once we play our message back it doesn't blink anymore oh yeah ours has like a little display screen on it and so it'll blink when you have one and then it'll say like one two three and let you know how many are on there so if there's ever a number on there i know that there's a message on the machine and we always delete them it's not like we yeah but that means that he hasn't listened he hasn't listened to him if it's still blinking exactly But if he listens to it and it's not blinking anymore, it'll still say one on that little screen. So I'll know there's something on there. Until it's deleted. Until you actually delete it. That's what we do, too. So I know there's something on there. And I'll be like, hey, what's this? What if it's four messages back? No, no. I'm going to have four people following me on the same day. Okay. And then outside of that, it's post-its. I got a post-it this morning. I'm still. Undeniably confused about the answering machine thing. I am so still very, very confused about it, but I know not to go there. It'll frustrate her. That's what I do, too. I do the exact same thing. But I don't understand it. That's the deal. Okay. So you see a blinking light on there, right? Mm-hmm. So there's a blinking light, right? Yes. And say he gets there before I do and listens to it. The light is no longer blinking. Right, Mike? Yep.
I come home, I look at the machine, and there's a number one on the display. Meaning there's one message. Are you taking notes? There's one message. And I go, huh, I wonder what that one message is because there's normally zero messages. Got it. And then I play the message. And then after I listen to it, I delete it, and it goes back to zero. And if I ever see that one again, I know there's a message on there. Okay. Here's the difference between yours and ours. Yes. If we have two messages. Yep. Play, it plays them both, and when it's done, it doesn't say anything anymore. After it's played them, it doesn't say anything anymore. Yeah, see, mine still will keep the number on there until you actually hit the delete button. I think we have the same phone. Really? What kind is that? I don't know. Well, is yours attached to your phone? Yeah. Oh, mine's not. Well, there's the base. No, mine's separate. Huh? Like, mine's like an answering machine. Are you kidding me? I think I paid like $10 for it.
And the phone plugs into it? You're old. Man. Yes, I'm on the phone. And then when we leave each other notes, they're on Post-its. This morning I got one that said, good morning, hope you have a great day. Not too sure about the jicama. And that was my note. Wow. We do Post-it communication as well. About jicama? This morning my Post-it note said, trash. What does that mean? It means it's time. She's just calling you a name. Yes. I'm Trash Guy. And when it says trash, I know it's gotten too full. It takes a trash out. I don't think she changes it. I don't think she rewrites it. It's just one post-it note that she saves that says trash. Go green. That's right. I'm not sure of that, but I know that on the other side of it, it said Kramer vs. Kramer's out this weekend. So it gives you a little time period. When that must have originally been written. When it must have originally been written. You know, I guess by the sounds of that, 1982. 1982 by the sounds of that one. That's how long she's had that. That's what I'm saying. It doesn't make any sense. Yes, it is. What's that?
Hey, go ahead, dude. I don't think so. Not that I know of. You got anything planned, guys? Not like the group of us, but this weekend I'm going to be out. There you go. Boston Rob will be out this weekend. Are you calling from inside of a mushroom? Hello, hello, yes? Yes, come in, please, wherever you are. Where are you located? Yes. Yes, come in. You're located at Tango, Romeo, Niner, Four, Niner, Romeo, Tango, Foxtrot. Shall we dance? Yes, come in. Yes, over. Ask Sky how Ramsey is. 10-4. How's Ramsey, Sky? Over and out. Back to you. More of it. Mikey's show, hello. Yeah, I just wanted to call to keep bugging Eddie about Dance Dance Revolution. I want to see you on YouTube. Eddie, what do you think? Why? This guy wants to see you do Dance Dance Revolution. It sounds funny. I know I have hot dance moves. That's right. That is undeniable. That is undeniable. That's true. But, like, why? Eddie and B-Rob, Dance Dance Revolution. Rob hates those kind of games. I hate those kind of games. There's no reason for us to do that.
That is even better. Mikey show. Good morning, San Diego. Good morning to you, Sanjaya. What's going on, Sanjaya? What's going on, brother? Not too much, man. Hey, dude. I thought I smelled another Boston Rob and Eddie competition with the Guitar Hero. No. No. I don't want to play that stupid thing. Rob really hates it. Rob really hates it. Rob, what about Dance Dance Revolution? Yeah, that's just about not as cool. Somebody's got a lot of Vicodin running through this. Did he fall asleep on accident? Not as cool. Wait, what, Sanjaya? You guys can play the guitar. And I can sing. Ah, there you go. Definitely not. Thank you, Sanjaya. Later, brother. Thank you. Mikey Show. Hey, this is P1T time. What's up, bro? Hey, I just wanted to tell a funny story. My buddy, Jay, told me I should call in and tell this story. Okay. About my pops. He, at one point, ordered, he has his favorite pickle relish. He's kind of obsessive about his favorite pickle relish, Del Monte pickle relish. So, the store, which he buys it from, stopped carrying it. Yeah. So, he went to the store to order it, and they stopped carrying it. So, he ordered another one.
He said, hey, I got to have my pickle relish. It's my favorite pickle relish. So we ordered it and ended up ordering 14 cases of pickle relish on accident. From the time I was little to the time I was older, we ate the same pickle relish because we had about 30 bottles. Oh, gross. Dude. So we loved it, though. How long did it take you to run out of that? Oh, like 20 years. Really? I'm saying it's like from the time I was like a little kid. That's so gross, bro. Where did you store it? In a cabinet. That can't be good, right? If it's pickled, it's not going to go bad. Really? The end, there's no like... There's got to be an expiration. Yeah, you can keep something forever? If things are pickled, I don't know about...
pickled relish. But if you pickle something, that's going to stay good for a very long time. Like, let's say you make peach preserves. It'll stay good for many years? Like for 10? Yeah, and that's what they used to do back in the day. How does that work? That's gross. If we ever had an atom bomb, we could survive off pickled relish. An atom bomb, by the way. That's right. Thank you very much for the call. Man, what was I going to ask you? I had a good question. Now it left me. Was it about pickle relish? No. I don't like relish. Me neither. Way to go, Eddie. Thanks. We're friends. I can't remember. It was good, whatever it was. And that guy made me think of it. Was it about atom bomb? It was about pickling stuff or putting stuff away like that. Having a basement. Oh, I wish I had a basement. Oh, I miss them. They're the best. Sean has a basement. stink. Uh-uh. Sometimes. They're all musky down there. Just take your time, bro. That's not what you got there. Why is she all in my kitchen? She likes it. She's making an omelet in there today. Spice up your kitchen. Mikey Show. Hey, what's up? It's P1 Arturo Fuente. What's up, brother? Hey, I got a suggestion for Eddie vs. D-Rob. Okay. About boxing. He would kill me.
Yeah. Literally, I would probably get two good punches in, which could knock him out, but he's quick and he takes boxing. Yeah. So he would pepper me and I would run out of gas in about 30 seconds. Oh, well, I got a second suggestion. Dance revolution. How dare you, sir? Not bad at all. Toro Fuente, how dare you? Not bad at all. I knew what that thing was I was thinking about. It's going to drive you crazy now. Why can't she save him? She could just save him, right? If you tell me right now, well, but if I throw them in the garbage and then you come to me and go, Hey, Hey, two days later. Hey, lady. She, let me tell you something. They're so big. They'd get stuck in a beach chair. Love it. Yeah. Tomorrow. Lovely and talented. Missy is up next. Don't forget. Ashley is going to have Rob as her slave on Thursday.
That is so great. Missy's got the all-request lunch today on the Nooner. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. See you again tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out.
