Mikey and the crew turned California’s drought into stories about Skye’s recycled childhood bathwater, then briefly got serious as Skye separated equal civil marriage rights from a church’s freedom to refuse a ceremony. Recurring studio bets drove the day: Ashley made Boston Rob fetch coffee and later massage her feet and armpit, while the group also failed spectacularly to agree on a three-topping pizza. Sean championed Ninja Warrior, and the crew excavated Rob’s gravel-voiced college-radio persona before offering a candid argument that internships and board-operator work beat expensive broadcasting schools. Callers added an allegedly resident La Jolla shark, chaotic bathroom stories, and a surreal Carrie Underwood–Harry Caray exchange about Tony Romo and hot dogs.
What happened, in order
Drought-Era Bathwater
Skye recalled bathing with her brother during an earlier California drought while her parents siphoned the used water through a window to irrigate the lawn.
State, Church, and Marriage
Skye argued that the state must grant gay couples equal marriage rights while individual churches should remain free to decide which ceremonies they perform.
The 18-Year Shark
Caller Ryan claimed one specific great white had lived near La Jolla for 18 years, prompting the crew to invent an elaborate biography for the supposedly identifiable shark and its source, Bryce.
Ashley’s Slave for a Day
After losing a parody-song vote, Boston Rob became Ashley’s servant, resisted her Starbucks order, and returned with a deliberately wrong iced McDonald’s coffee before revealing the real drink.
Tough Love with Eddie
Eddie answered listener problems with intentionally outrageous advice involving a chronically vomiting friend, stolen Vicodin, and a nervous driving-test applicant.
The Impossible Pizza
Mikey challenged all seven show members to agree unanimously on three pizza toppings, but nearly every suggestion was vetoed until they grudgingly circled pepperoni, ham, and garlic or onion.
Sean TV: Ninja Warrior
Sean enthusiastically introduced the Japanese obstacle-course show Ninja Warrior, while Mikey and the crew complained that its untranslated audio made no sense on radio.
The Foot-Massage Payoff
Ashley finally enforced the lost bet by making a visibly disgusted Boston Rob massage her bare feet and armpit as Mikey coached him and recorded the ordeal.
Robbie Shades Unearthed
The crew played Boston Rob’s college-radio tapes and marveled at his gravelly old persona, overproduced promos, and slogans such as putting the lava in your java.
How to Break into Radio
Mikey, Skye, Eddie, Ashley, and Rob debated broadcasting school, then agreed that internships or entry-level board-operator jobs, reliability, persistence, and low pay define the practical route into radio.
Bathroom Door Disasters
Sean described throwing forgotten car keys through a cracked bathroom door, then Rob admitted he failed to lock another single-person restroom and was caught fully exposed by a coworker.
Carrie Meets Harry Caray
A Carrie Underwood impression and a caller doing Harry Caray spiraled into a bizarre conversation about Tony Romo, hot dogs, and whether they would eat themselves.

First time in 16 years, the governor officially declared that California is in the middle of a drought. The Padres, they salvage a game. They beat the Cubs yesterday. 2-1. Trevor Hoffman came in, didn't blow the lead, got the save. Unbelievable. Nice. Yeah. Okay, so we got some lights out here on the board. Oh, no. No. So if we could, I don't know who can, yeah. Ash, can you get? It's going to throw you off. What's up? Some lights out here. What do we got? We got the on-button lights not working. Which pots? What numbers? Pot one. Pot one. Profit one. Important ones? Yep. That is probably one of the most important pots to work off of. What's Rob doing? He's healthy. He's healthy. He's here to help. Well, here's my... Eddie, I want your observation. I'll tell you what my observation is. My observation is... That Rob was like, what'd I do? What'd I do? What'd I do? That's what I think. Eddie, you may think something different. No, I think he comes in here, like, just stares. How can I be a visual learner? He's a visual learner. Yeah, you're right, Mike. It is awesome. He's a good kid. What are you learning? What is wrong? He told you what is wrong. I don't learn auto-ly.
Oddly. Oddly. Huh? Can I ask you a question? Everything is oddly about you. I received pictures of us at Ocean Air. And you don't smile in any of them. You're so handsome. You don't smile. He's a tough guy. If he smiles, it would take away from his piercing blue eyes, Mike. That's fine. I understand that. But what about a smile, no teeth? That would take away from his Boston throat tattoo. I do not roll that way, Mike. Because then I look like I'm being at it. An idiot. Yeah. I got you. He does, yes, Eddie's got the exact part. What Eddie's doing is what you do in every photo. Blue steel. Yes. So true. So blue steel. He nailed it. He nailed it. That's the exact look. Oh, my gosh. It's like picture a mug shot where you're mad at the cameraman.
Every picture has got to be like a prison photo. Yes. You know, and he's wearing this great looking, you know, suit and everything. He looks so good. And Eddie's like messing around. I got a big smile. Ashley's got a big smile. And Rob's doing this prison look. I'll put the picture up on my blog so people can see it. What, Rob? What? Oh, nothing. Is that all good? Go ahead. It's very funny. Did you get my email about that, Ashley? Yeah. I had a question about it. I didn't get it. What are you talking about? Eddie, do you know what he's talking about? He's asking Ashley if Ashley got an email about... Do you want me to read it? Ashley sent the pictures to us from her camera and Rob in the office yesterday responded. He wrote back. Those pictures are adorable. Dot, dot, dot. One question, though. Who is the blonde Dutch German boy next to me in the photo? You're the best. Love you. It's Ashley. I don't get the reference. Oh, my goodness. I don't understand. I'll put the picture up on my blog. I made a similar joke on my blog. It's a picture of Ashley and I. Yeah.
And I said, this is a photograph of me and the little Romanian boy that I just adopted. That's weird. Get that. Oh, that's so funny. Genius. Oh, man. Did I tell you what Rebecca gave me as one of my birthday gifts? What? Getting to lay in bed all weekend. Her and I are just, it's a, now, we were going to do this once before. Do you remember me mentioning this? Yes, yes. We were going to do this once before and something messed it up. Like I think Jake got, yeah, Jake got really sick. Like he got like sick. And so we couldn't do it. We had to, uh, we had to, uh, take care of him and stuff, you know? So we're doing it. Try it again. We're going to try it again. This weekend. This weekend. Oh, good luck. The relaxation weekend. Sounds awesome. 570-1053 is the number. And text us, 35253. And real quickly, let me introduce. You got me, the host of the show. I'm Mikey. I'm 38. Eddie's 35. He is our producer and sports guy. Sky is 30. She is our news girl. Shawnee, oh boy, is our sound effects guy. And he is 38. And he's giving us a salute. Why is he saluting? I don't know. But maybe he's just coming to attention.
That could be the deal. Okay. Ashley is our assistant producer. And she is wearing a little, what do they call that? I know girls, see, I'll say something, but girls have a name for everything. And I know I said it wrong. They're like, no, it's a flauta. Hello. That is hot. What is the? I would just say this is like a zip up. you know, three quarter of a length sleeve sweater. Is that what you would say to Skye if you guys were talking on the phone? A couple girls talking on the phone. She hadn't seen you. She says, what are you wearing? Yeah, I would tell her I got like a zip up hoodie. Exactly. Like sweater material and it's striped. There you go. That's what Ashley's wearing today. It's striped yellow and white. I want people to have a visual. Thank you. Ash is a blonde girl. She's 24. Sweet person. Drinks coffee from a white styrofoam cup with a straw. Go green. Two straws. Two straws. Go green. Go green. She's really into the whole green thing. I bring my mug in when I can. That's right. Some days I forget. She's green sometimes. And then I throw away styrofoam. That's right. And then when it goes to the dump, it does not become biodegradable. What happens is the seagulls eat it and they die on impact.
They go out into the ocean and decompose, and then it floats through the ocean, Mike. That's right. And little other animals choke on it and die. That's awful. It's pretty terrible, isn't it? Drink up. I think a little piece of Al Gore just died. Oh, no. That's terrible. Somewhere there's a dolphin choking on your cup. Wait, not a cup? No, I don't think so. Oh, man. It comes right here, Shawnee. That's right. Let's see. Rob is our phone screener. He's a phone screener, and he also is a singer-songwriter. In fact, he's always working on new songs. He's always in the lab. And then there is Roosevelt, Zephian, Oates III, Junior Esquire. And he is 23 years old. He's the youngest person on the show.
And he's very tall and lanky. And he took a nap yesterday. Yeah. And he woke up at 6.16. But when he woke up and he saw the clock, he thought it was 6.16 a.m. That's the worst. It sucks so bad. Did you panic? I was freaking out for like a solid probably minute. Yeah. Screaming. That is tough when that happens. That is the worst. And so what did you do, Oates? Well, after... freaking out and screaming obscenities for about a minute. I realized it was PM. Did you say cry? Who said that, Sean? Sean! I did not. That's funny. The sense of relief after I realized it was pretty awesome. Well, there you go. I've only done that once. I did it in Dallas. It was a night we were going to see that Chris Rock movie that was a remake of Heaven Can Wait. Chris Rock had come into the studio. That's what it's supposed to be. He'd come in the studio. We were going to the premiere, and the movie was terrible. We walked out. Yeah, we left. We walked out? Yeah, we left. It was awful. It was really bad. It was really, really bad. 570-1053 is the number, or text us at 35253. It's up to you. Call us and tell us what you got on your mind, what's going on.
What you're thinking, what you watched on TV, here, here, here. So the governor says that we are in the middle of a drought. Did it not rain yesterday? Yeah, is that the deal? Well, I mean, it drizzled yesterday, but that's not enough. I don't know if it did in North County, but it rained good here. Really? Oh, yeah. It was only drizzling up. up in Esco. But yeah, this is the first time that a drought has been declared in the state of California in the last 16 years. I remember it when we were in Northern California. Oh, yeah. And I don't know about you guys and how your dad was about it, but my dad, oh, he was super cool about that drought. Oh, yeah? Showers and all that stuff. He was really... The flushing. The flushing. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. My dad implemented. Your dad did not, Eddie? No. Yeah, my dad had us to five or three to five minute showers. Oh, my. Only flush solids. Yeah. Oh, holy cow. Really fun, fun period of time. Skye, what about you? What was your deal? Yeah, we did the flushing. And also, instead of. You do that anyway. Well, that is true. That's a good way to consider. With the door open. It's true. But my brother and I were both still pretty young at the time. And so.
what we would do is we would bathe together. Oh. And then my parents would take the hose and put it in the bathtub and then have it go out the window and siphon the water, like, onto the grass to water the lawn. Is this a true story? Is this a true story? This is a true story? No, I just was compulsively lying. No, no, no, no. I don't know. I mean, why would I? No, I thought it might have been the funniest joke I ever heard. Mike. That was 16 years ago. That means she was 14. No. Taking baths with her brother. That's not true. Well, you just said. 16 years ago was the last drought. Well, that was the end of the last drought. The last drought started in the mid-80s. So I was like 7-ish in the mid-80s. And? I mean, it wasn't inappropriate. How old was the pro? He's a year older than me. 25. Oh, boy. Okay, so then. We used to always bathe together when we were little. Upstairs, downstairs. Upstairs. So then they would take the hose. Out the window. Throw it out the window. Yeah, have like a couple hoses together. And would they go like that and suck on the hose? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. And then get the water to siphon down and water the lawn and all the plants. And kill your plants.
Now, wait a minute. Now, wait. Because, of course, we used all natural bath products. We couldn't have anything unnatural in the house. Now, was the hose just sort of laying on the lawn and it would just like kind of, you know, flow out? And you'd kind of just move it to different spots on the lawn. Wow. Yeah. Holy Toledo. Conserving water is a great idea. That's awesome. That's as efficient as it gets, let me tell you. Yeah. That's pretty darn efficient. Yes. Why didn't you guys just go out on the lawn when you had to use the facilities? The facilities? I shall know. Now, Sky. I'm just saying, you know. No. Now, Sky. That's not sanitary. Now, we have a couple of questions here. I don't, what? No, no, no. Not about that. Not about that. Not about that. Not about that. Okay. Don't check out. All right. I'll try not to. No, these are normal questions. Okay. One.
Question is, we know that you are green. Yes. The other question is, this was your experience growing up. Yes. So my third question is, what will you do now that you know there's a drought? Well, I mean. Tango and Logan bathing together now. Yeah. You know, I've been aware that water's been an issue for a while, so we've already been taking steps. Like with our landscaping, we've been using native, you know, drought-tolerant plants. Yeah. And so we actually, not counting our lawn. Like cactus and stuff, or like aloe vera. No, like sage and lavender and things of the Australian willow. These things, you know. That's awesome. So, basically, we only water. Succulents. Succulents. Succulents are great. Yeah, succulents are good. So, besides our lawn, we only water once a week. Okay. We only water once a week. Got it. My brother comes over for baths still. Yes. Yes. I used to take baths multiple times a week. Now, I limit myself to just like.
two months. Do you and the boo shower together? Will you shower together to conserve? Well, we normally, we're not on the same shower schedule, but on the weekends we will. Woo, girl! We always have. And will you go, like, super, super fast to get, you know, you'll be like... No. No, we just... Like, like... I'll be rinsing my hair while he'll be soaping up his body, and then we swap, and then I'll be soaping up my body. Meow. Hello. Are you almost done soaping up over there? Wax on, wax off. That's right. Hello. Left corner of the tub, it's right corner of the tub calling. Well, he needs two hands for certain parts, you know. I mean, I... Daddy, come on. Well, then again, so do I. I'm blessed. Oh, goodness. I mean, have you seen me? We have the low-flow toilets. We only do laundry and dishes when they're full loads. All these kind of things. Daddy, you're not buying that?
And he's not buying it. Do you know how cheap I am? Yeah, I do. Okay. I mean, I just hit the hubby down because he wanted to do three loads. You can make that two loads, bro. We had to have a talk about it. Sky doesn't turn on that air conditioner until the internal temperature of the home reaches 425 degrees. That was accurate. You can bake a turkey before she'll turn the air on. That's a true statement. She will do that. So I believe it. Let's see. It's conserving. So, you know, the governor said we're in a drought, but they're not making, you know, mandatory requirements of people to conserve yet. But they are asking people to attempt to try and, you know, change their lifestyle, their watering habits a little bit to help out. What if you don't really know you have watering habits? I have to first figure out what my habits are. Well, just to, you know, make a shower shorter, do the laundry and dishes when they're full loads. Water deeper, but less frequently in your garden. So instead of watering like for five minutes every day, maybe water for 15 minutes twice a week, which is better for your plants anyway. It is? Yeah.
to water because then the water goes down deeper and it encourages the roots to grow deeper, which makes your plants and trees stronger. I like it. There you go. And when you're washing your hands, don't turn the water on unless you need it to get your hands wet or to rinse your hands off. But when you're actually doing the lathering, keep the water off. Same with brushing your teeth, too. All right. We are learning facts here this morning. Write those down, people. Little things that add up. I'm not doing anything. All right. Shower less, that's always a good one. Barely shower at all really helps the environment. Oh, that's true. In so many ways. So many ways. Ladies and gentlemen, those of us that feel that Ashley uses the water when she's washing her hands only when rinsing them off. Oh, yeah. Percentage of chance that this is true. Don't you read my blog? I say there is a... Two and one quarter percent chance this is true. Eddie? Well, I think it's zero. Okay, Skye. But I don't know. I don't read her blog. Okay, fine. Skye, how much faith do you have in your girl that she washes her hands this way? I say 98%. 98%? Yeah, there may be a couple times where she forgets and accidentally leaves the water on, but I think most of the time she tries to do it that way. Sean, percentage of time?
When Ashley is washing her hands, she actually only turns the water on when rinsing her hands. I'll take the opposite of Sky. I'll say 2%. The answer is zero. Eddie wins. There we go. I got the answer right here. It came in a sealed envelope from Deloitte & Touche. They are an accounting firm. Located in Los Angeles, they do the Oscars. Oh, wow. And so it was a sealed envelope, and it said right there. You stub it. I'll tell you what. That Ashley is something else. Thanks. Ash, what are you going to do now with the drought? What? You going to change anything? I already do. You're already doing your part. I'm super preservative. Yeah. Well said. I already got that locked, you know. It's easy. It's easy. It's all about spreading the word so other people start doing it too. Yep. Yesterday, Arnold said, it's a drought. Figure it out. He's coming up with phrases. Oh, that's catchy. Yeah. That's pretty good. It's a drought, so come on out, and that's it. Is that it? And then he trailed off. Yeah, and then he trailed off like that. 570-1053 is our phone number. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show and talk about whatever you want. P1 Richard. Yeah.
The solution to the water problem, I don't know why California doesn't do this, but all they have to do is build some desalination plants up and down the coast and take water out of the ocean. Yeah, it's in talks for one in Carlsbad, I believe, where they're starting to build it. There's something going on in Carlsbad with that. But, I mean, then aren't we just going to drain the oceans? There's no way you're going to drain it. You can't drain the oceans. No? Why? Well, because it's a replenishable resource. The ocean. Yeah, but eventually, I mean, the icebergs are going to be gone. They believe that all the wars of the future are going to be fought over water. Yeah, but the water that's in the... Kevin Costner? I saw this documentary. Yes, I just saw a documentary on it called Waterworld. Kevin Costner. Yes, he was. He had gills, Mike. That's crazy. All the penguins are, like, dying. Polar bears. So sad. So sad. Mike, Dennis Hopper will try to take over the world. Yes, on Ski-Doo's. Oh, man. All right, everybody, it's a drought. I'm a crowd.
That's not a good one. It's a job. I'm a crowd. Figure it out. No, that's not. I don't like that one. Does that one have roll off the tongue? What's the deal with this? Switchfoot's going to do a free concert? Yeah, well, they do this annual thing called the Bro-Am, which is a surf contest slash concert with, you know, for charity, for charity called Stand Up for Kids. And it's this Saturday in... That's not smart. What? There's a shark roaming around. They say that the odds are... He's got a better chance of hitting the lottery. He's out there every day. Looking for his next meal. The odds against that are astronomical. We'll see what happens. Good luck. Good luck. Let's see. This is the lead singer of Switchfoot. Cut 30.
Yeah, it's our favorite day of the year, Saturday. It's a surf contest on the beach. A lot of pro surfers, local rippers coming down to surf, and we're going to try our best as well. And then it's a free concert on the beach as well. And that starts at 11 and goes till 5. That's awesome. So it's at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas this Saturday. The surf contest goes from 7 to 3.30, and the concert goes from 11 to 5. Close the beaches. The concert goes from 11 to 5? Yeah, there's like a whole bunch of different bands. It's not just, you know, Switchfoot. It's a whole bunch of different bands. Switchfoot, probably closer to five. Yeah, I don't know. Probably. They probably don't want to blow that out right in the beginning. Yeah. You know, and then wait for Papa John and the Stinkers to come on later on in the day. But I love them. No more water. I'd like to meet your daughter. That's my slogan. I don't like that one. The John of 08. I do not like that. That's my new slogan. Try again. Thank you. People in Carlos. Mikey. What's up? Hey, how's it going, man? Good. Hey, it's great you guys are talking about this. I work for the San Diego County Water Authority. And, yeah, it's pretty desperate. It's going to be in the next couple of years. And if people really want to get some tips on how to save, they can go to 20gallonchallenge.com. That's cool. My dad is going there right now. The word 20 or 2-0.
Excuse me? Is it the word 20 or is it 2-0? The word 20. Okay. 20gallontank.com? 20gallonchallenge. Challenge. Yeah. So wait, is it 20? It's keepat20gallon.com. Thegreenmiles.com. $20ofchallenges.com? It's $20 in my pocket. $20 if you holla.com. There you go. .org. There you go. Yeah, that was .org, right? .biz. Thank you. All right. Thank you for the call. P1 Word Herd is on the line. Oh, hello. What's cracking, you guys? How are you guys doing this morning? What's up? All right, hey, I got a political controversial question. Oh, no. I don't know if we need it this morning. That's right. We're already on the verge of water conservation. Don't cause problems. Okay. I won't ask you if it's going to be problematic. Yes, it's problematic. Well, what's it about? It's about gay marriage. Oh, are you? I mean, what are you, out of your mind? Are you on the same page? Yeah.
We have very different views on gay marriage here on The Mikey Show. Yes, we do. That's right. Sky thinks that no gays should be allowed to marry. Shut up. They're in love. Go ahead. What's your question? Okay, so Sky, then if you are supportive, here's my question. Yes. Do you think it's more important that gay marriage be recognized by the state or by the church? And then the follow-up question is, if your answer is the state. then do you think that if the state recognizes the church is obligated to perform services for gay couples, and then why? I believe that it's more important to be recognized by the state. And the church, I don't believe they're under any obligation to perform marriage ceremonies. I think that's a very fair view. Yeah, because the government agency, the state, needs to represent everyone and protect everyone and give everybody the same rights, whereas the church, it's up to their own discretion. There's a reason why there's separation of church and state. You just hear a lot of people give the church heat for not recognizing it, and I was always questioning that. Why are they giving the church a problem when it's a state issue? Yeah, I don't think they mind. I think most people are like, ah, whatever, you know, if they're not going to.
I don't think very many of them want that. As long as they get the benefits and stuff like that of married couples, I think that's all they care about. And I think homosexual people attend churches that, you know, support their lifestyle. And so it's not a problem. They're not going to go to a church that, you know, doesn't support what they do and how they live their life. All right. Thanks, Word Heard. Appreciate it. P1 Ryan. Oh, yeah. I just got something to say about the shark attack. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm a surfer, and I'm actually going to Scripps right now. I'm down here at a gas station in the West. And that shark's been there for like 18 years or something like that. It's been there for the longest time, and you were more susceptible to getting bit or something else happening way before that. Wait, wait, wait, wait. You're saying that the shark that killed the guy, that that particular shark has been there for 18 years? Yes. Really? That particular shark? Yeah, there's only one 18-foot great white that lives in La Jolla. Got it. They are by themselves. They don't travel in packs. Got it. It was a case of mistaken identity. It was a case of mistaken identity. Hey, listen, just totally out of curiosity, where did you get that information? What's his name? Bryce.
Bryce. Okay, you got it from Bryce. Yeah. I just want to know if it was reputable. Well done, then. If Bryce said it. If Bryce said it. Well, Bryce talked to the shark. That's right. Bryce? No, it wasn't just him. I've also, like, heard from people who study the ocean and shit. I've looked up research on it before. Right, so it is a very specific shark. There's one shark that is in question. It is a very particular one, and it's been here for 18 years. Yeah. I would urge you to give this information to news agencies. I've been reporting it for like three weeks. Who has? Me. Oh, Eddie has. Yes, Eddie has been. Eddie's been there for 18 years. Yes. I don't know. I didn't know that. It was mistaken identity. The reason that they know is because they documented the shark's birth. Obviously. And so they knew when the shark began. They can tell the age. Swimming there. Plus, the shark grew up right on La Jolla Village Drive. Three doors down from Bryce. I heard that Bryce went to Torrey Pines with the shark. Really, did he play any sports? I don't know. He's on the golf team. But apparently... Plus, he still gets his mail right there. Well, here's the deal. That shark began swimming in that cove starting in 1990.
Yes, that's a fact. Okay. Has been swimming there for 18 years now, 2008. But it started in 1990. The reason we know this, it was wearing a Color Me Bad t-shirt when it first started swimming there. I don't know why they're doing the candy. And that's why they know it's been 18 years. And he still hasn't changed his shirt. That's right. He's still wearing that Color Me Bad t-shirt. Well, thank you, Ryan. We now know one shark. 18 years. Thank you. Appreciate it. Let's see. Are you down with OPP? Oh, my goodness. You know, we're going to be doing something within an hour's time called Tough Love with Eddie. Oh, wow. Yeah, we are. Yes, we are. I want to let you know that our text number is 35253 and our phone number is 5701053. And by the way, today. Rob is Ashley's slave. Oh, really? Yes. He's paying off a bet. Her parody song, Junk Into Trunk, was voted upon by P1 listeners as their favorite, and that means Boston Rob lost. His song did not win, and so she gets to tell him whatever she wants. When does that start? It started at 6 o'clock, so you could have been using it for the last 36 minutes, and you've got the entire show long to do it. Okay.
You need anything? Well, I kind of am craving a coffee. Tell your boy. Well, Rob, I could really go for like a delicious nonfat extra hot vanilla latte from Starbucks with a straw. Oh, you want him to go to Starbucks? Pardon? A grande. You want him to go to Starbucks? Yeah. It would be really nice. Gotcha. Well, now, are you going to give him any money or? Well, it doesn't cost, like, buttons and lint, Mike. I could give him money. Okay. All right. Boss and Rob, there is your first task. You need to go get her a coffee. I'd write it down. I wouldn't get it wrong. Oh, definitely not. I'll just go to McDonald's. What? No, no, no. You can't go to McDonald's. That's not what she wants. No, no, no. You got it. Starbucks. Yes, Skye. Please take a look at your camera. Please take a look at your camera. Shani is... What is that kind of... Oh. Yeah. What is that called? Skye?
Welcome back to the show. Let's see. Got that in the ghetto. Thank you. Yes, I can see that came from the ghetto. Eddie's giving the gym from the office look. I like when Seth Gives me little notes when he gives me the text messages. Oh, no. And it says, notice the spelling and grammar of this first one. Oh, no. It's a good one, Sky. Hey, Eddie, stop tripping on that sark, bro. You got a better chance of getting into a accident spelled A-C-S-E-D-E-N-T. Oh, my God. Well said. A better chance of getting in an accident.
Accident, then a shark attack? Again? Signed, P1. Executioner. Mikey, the guy is telling the truth about the shark. It's been roaming the kelp beds in La Jolla for years. Signed, P1. Mark. I don't doubt it. I don't doubt that there's a shark that's been roaming the kelp beds. I just, the whole, the concept of when he arrived at, you know, how long, you know. Knowing the exact date he arrived there. That's a little, you know, I mean. Yeah. Wow. Somebody keeping a log. Yes. Mikey, question. If Rob screws up during his slave time, will extra days be tacked on? If so, you might want to get the bell out. Come on. Signed, P1 Philly's Finest. That's an interesting point. Oh, that's another thing I want him to do. What's that? What's that? For this morning. Why is he not going to get the coffee? I know. Why is he here? What are you doing here? That's a really good point. You for real?
Oh, Rob. I'm going to go get her coffee. Well, Rob, do you think that she's going to be giving you orders today and you're just going to kind of giggle and be like, that's a good one? Imagine if I actually said that. Okay. What are you? Yeah, Rob. Starbucks, right? Yes, Starbucks. From the office? And make sure you got her number right. But did you see what he just did? He just gave me a wink. I'm going to go sit in the office in 20 minutes. He's got to go. You got to go. She's going to give you the money, and then you got to go to Starbucks. You're her slave for the day. Yeah. There may have to be consequences if he doesn't do this. No, no, no. Because this is showing us. I'm on it. This is showing us. I'm out of here. Maybe we go back to Eddie slugs the arm or something. No, no, no. I'm out of here, man. Or just extend his... Mike, you need... Mike, you need anything? No. I'm going, man. I'm at it. You're not Mike's sleeve. Oh, he's doing the thing where he's pretending to back away from the microphone like he's not really going to go. Rob, you really got to go get her coffee. You really do. He's so far away. I know it. You're ridiculous. Get out of here. What is he doing, Eddie? I don't know. I don't know either. Why is he doing that? He's looking at all of us in here going like, do I really have to? Maybe what we should do. Is that the point?
To show them how serious we are, let's tack another day on. No, no, no, I got it. Look, the headphones are off. We're serious. Okay, his headphones are off. No, you better go, Rob. I'm not kidding. Hurry. I know, I'm almost gone. What? Go on. Okay. Okay, now he is leaving the studio. Jeez. Zepp is taking over at the phone screener position. He's going in to get money. I hope you reverse my order. It was a... He goes, I really got to go, don't I? No. Rondé extra hot nonfat vanilla latte with a straw. It's not that hard. It's not that hard. Write it down, bro. You can't make something extra hot. It's not that hard. You can't make something extra hot. I mean, he is a clown. I wish we had a camera on him. He is the best. He is such a dork. What are you still doing here? Yeah, no kidding. This is ridiculous. Yeah, tell him again what he has to get you. What do you think, Eddie, let me ask you a question. What do you think he would be doing if it was the other way around and he gave her an order and she was just sitting there? He'd be like, what's going on around this place?
Mikey. Oh, for goodness sake. Okay. So I told you. What did I say we were going to do? Oh, I want to tell you about the contest that we have going on right now. Single dad setup. Now, if you are a single dad, and we've been getting some emails, I can tell people are a bit confused. Oh, no. Yes. So I need to explain. Explain it. Explain it as clearly as I can. If you need to be a single dad, that has a kid old enough to come in here to the studio and ask questions of three single ladies so what do we think the minimum age is for that i would say you would have to be in order for you to have a kid that's old enough to i mean how old would a kid be to ask questions seven eight nine years old i was thinking seven yeah that's what i was thinking you know what i mean i think you would start at seven a kid would be capable of doing that okay Because the kid's going to have to read questions. You know what I mean? And so that means, I don't know, you could have had, maybe you had this child when you were 17, 18 years old. I don't know. Where did that put you at? 25, 26, 27. I got a 20-year-old right yesterday and say, I'm a single dad. And I'm like, well, I'm guessing your two-year-old probably can't ask these questions.
So you need to be a single dad with a kid that you bring into the studio that's going to ask questions of three single gals. Now, if that's you, go to MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com, and type in the keyword dads. And we also need for you ladies to go to that website. If you're interested in meeting a guy, we're going to have a date, and it's going to be paid for by us. The radio station is going to spring for it, and it's going to be really nice. In fact, they're in the process of setting all this stuff up, and it's going to include a lot of stuff. It's nice. It's going to be nice. Yeah. It's going to be really nice. And so, ladies, if you're listening right now, I'll tell you this. The entries that we have got are from really handsome dudes. And so, ladies, send in your pictures. That's all you have to do. Just go to MikeyShow.com, type in the keyword dads, and there's a whole thing for you to fill out. Because we want to know about you. It's like what you're into, what your hobbies are, and that goes for both the guys and the gals. It's like eHarmony, but for the Mikey Show. Yeah, it's like Mike Harmony. Yeah, yeah. It's like Mikey Harmony. Mikey Harmony. It is similar in that you're going to tell us all about yourself, and that's what they do on that site. So just go there right now. Go to MikeyShow.com and keyword dads, and we want ladies and men. Ladies and men that are... Now, it's easier for you ladies. You ladies, you don't have to have kids.
You don't have to at all. It could be any single lady. It doesn't matter how old you are. Just go to the site. Fill out the information if you'd like to meet a guy. And it's MikeyShow.com keyword dads. And send it in. And we'll check it out. And you fellas, just have a kid old enough to be able to ask questions. That's all. Should be really fun. The Padres finally got a win last night. And against the Cubs. Best team in baseball. Not bad. Yeah, they needed it. They lost two out of three, and so to get that win was good, and Trevor came in, got his 12th save, didn't blow it. Very nice. That's very cool. Kelsey Grammer's been let out of the hospital after that heart attack.
Yeah, he suffered a heart attack in Hawaii over the weekend when he was out paddle boarding. They refer to it as a minor heart attack, but he was kept in the hospital and then just finally released yesterday. Oh. I wonder what the difference is, by the way, between minor and major and all the in-betweens. Yeah. Same thing, no? Eddie's a doctor. Eddie, how does this work? Tell us what the difference is between a minor and a major heart attack. How does that work? I don't know. I'm not a doctor. What? You are a doctor of pediatrics, from what I understand. So if a child were to have pediatric cardiology. Yes, that is true. Wow, that's very special. That is true. But you're an expert. But I don't know. Let's see. John Smoltz is out for the season if you're in one of those rotisserie baseball deals. Yeah, that's a good point, Mike. But Smoltz, 41 years old, has to have shoulder surgery done for the year, but says he's going to come back and play again. He's going to pitch again. Wow. Sky says the space toilet's fixed. Yep. They fixed it up. I don't know how they did it. They sent a plumber up there? Yeah, basically they sent parts up with the Discovery shuttle that launched over the weekend.
And they fixed it all up so now they can go number one again. Yeah, Eddie could help. Yeah, I can fix it. You can? Yep. Eddie knows how to fix toilets now. I know how to fix toilets now. How's that? How did that go down? I don't know why you're asking these questions. I'm a man. I know what I'm doing. I naturally know how to fix toilets. Eddie says, well, I'm a man. And Skye says, well, no, not really. No, I mean, I believe the fact that he is a man, but the fact that he knows how to fix things, I, um... Oh, I'm offended. Well, I'm just saying, I mean, you've admitted it yourself. Eddie, would you care to share with us? I had a buddy of mine come over, he was a plumber, and he showed me how to fix toilets. Really? Yeah. And it's really easy. There's like four parts in a toilet. What was wrong with the can? It wasn't flushing right? I had two. Both of my toilets were kind of jacked up. Yeah. The one upstairs would just run. Yeah. You know, and I don't know. I couldn't. I had no idea why. Yeah. And the one downstairs, like the handle was with stick. Yeah. And it was just really old, I guess. And so he came over. He, you know, the one downstairs, he completely like redid everything. Yeah. Took all of it out. There's like.
Seriously, four parts in the toilet. Yeah. Took them all out. Showed me how to put it together. Right. Put it in. Done. And the upstairs one, he like did one little like he squeezed together one piece and it was fixed. Wow. It was amazing. Wow. I wish I knew how to do that stuff. Dude, it is so easy. I was blown away. Huh? Like, dude, I could do this. If we had a TV show, you know how a million times I've said I wish we had a TV show? If we had a TV show. What I'll do is I'll just tell you what skits we would do if we had a TV show. Okay, cool. If we had a TV show, this weekend we would do a skit of Eddie fixing his toilets. Right. And what we would do is we would have him fixing the toilet, but we would splice in scenes from Star Wars when Luke Skywalker is trapped down in the... in the trash compactor. And so it will seem like all the work that Eddie's doing up in the toilet is affecting the guys down in the trash compactor. That's funny. By splicing the two together. Right. That could happen. That's right. It could. Very well could. P1 Navy Doc is on the line and knows the difference between a major and minor heart attack. That is true. The minor heart attack is just going to be a small part of the heart. It's not really a big issue.
But you go into a major heart attack, that's where they're going to take them right into surgery. They're going to pull a vein out and fix some big stuff. That means my dad had a major heart attack back in July because they took him into immediate surgery. Correct. What a trip. That's crazy. Thank you for the call. I had no problem. Oh, he was going to say something right as I was hanging out. Our text number is 35253. We're going to be doing Sean TV today. Yes. Boston Rob, when he was in college, he had a radio show. And he was telling us the other day that he might still have all those tapes. And so we are going to get to see, or we're going to get to hear all those tapes from when he was in college. That's going to be brilliant. We're going to play his college air checks, they're called. I heard him loading them yesterday. Did you really?
So awesome. You have no idea how awesome. You have no idea. That's fantastic. By the way, Rob, oh, and we're still doing Best Pizza in San Diego, so if you work for a pizza place and you want to nominate yourself, just go to our website and you're going to have to bring us pizza because we're going to be judging it. 570-1053 is a phone number. I can clear up some of these rumors, Mac. What can you tell me? Well, I party with Bill every once in a while. You party? President Bush, you party with Bill? I wouldn't expect that. I know. We go to the bar, do some jello shots. No, you don't. Body shots. Already I know you're being dishonest. What are you talking about? You don't do... body shots. Yeah, we were at the dive bomber the other day. Uh-huh. And he hit the girls to lay on the bar and he poured the tequila in their belly button. You and Bill Clinton. President Bush. Yeah, me and Sweet Willie. You and Sweet Willie. The Mikey Show continues. This is The Rock. It is 7-0-4. The California Supreme Court ruled yesterday that they will not delay gay marriages until the November election. Who was that guy out at Torrey South yesterday? Why? It's... Tiger Woods. Really? He's at their practicing yesterday. He's in the house. He is a very famous man. That's pretty cool. I would like to see him in person one day. Oh, yeah. Oh, I'll see him, Mike. Yeah, Skye's going to be out there, man. She's actually participating in the first golf tournament. I don't know that you don't see him, actually. I will. I will sell him a hot dog. That is right.
He will walk. He will stand in line. Hey, they were the hot dogs he wanted, right? That's what I'm saying, Mike. That's right. Because he is black. Well, yeah. But he's not just black. He's also Asian. So he's Cabernet Asian. A little Caucasian. He's part Caucasian, part Cabernet. What? Sweet. And then he's part Cabby. So it's Cabernet Asian. Cabernet. He's Cabernet Asian. It's a really, really delicious variety. So good. So before we went to break, I told you that Barack Obama said who he would want to play him in a movie. Cut seven. So they make a movie about your life. Yeah. Who should play you? Well, Will Smith and I have talked about this. Because he has the ears, he might have an inside track on the roll. Ashley, do you think that's ridiculous? I knew it. I knew it. Will Smith, right? I knew it, of course. I thought it was going to be Dustin Hoffman. For whatever reason, I was like, I bet he says Dustin Hoffman. I was going to go Anthony Hopkins. You were? Yeah. It was really good. Mayor Sanders, the colonel, says that in his next term, he is going to fix the city's infrastructure. Eddie just gave the wave of the head, like, hmm.
Interesting. Really? Is that right? Congratulations. Really? Okay, great. All right. Yeah, the mayor said yesterday that he plans to start borrowing money to fill potholes and repair those water mains. It's good to borrow money. That are deteriorating. Even though we have a $1.4 billion pension deficit. That's how much we should borrow. Yeah. I don't know if Wells Fargo is going to give us a loan. Yeah. Let's call them and ask. Yeah, we're kind of in debt right now. When you're in debt, the thing you're supposed to do is borrow. Not a good customer. Borrow more money. Borrow more. That's good. Yeah, I get a few credit cards. That's right. Wow. Let's see. There is a photographer that's been arrested for stalking Jamie Lynn Spears. Yeah, this is interesting. So Jamie Lynn Spears claims that this dude was stalking her and he was finally arrested on Tuesday in Mississippi. He denies that he was stalking her. He says he was just doing his job and he says he was over 200 feet away from the couple using a long lens when he was arrested. He says, you know, that's how he does his business. So he posted bond and is scheduled to appear back in court next week. I see. Sarah Silverman.
is dating Jimmy Kimmel. Most people know this. And they are actually very much in love. Cut six. Now Hollywood's funniest and busiest couple, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman, are getting downright mushy. It's cheesy. I don't want to ruin it. I like talking about an extra, but we're very much in love. Or I am, at least. I'm not exactly Romeo, but I do little things to show Sarah that I love her, like closing the bathroom door. You see? Scott? Do you see? This is love. That is a good man. Well, no, wait a second. As I think about it, no, it's the opposite of a good man. What a terrible person you are, Jimmy. To each his own. You show love by sharing your stink. I do not share my stink. I do not share my stink. I share my doo-doo. You don't close the door, right?
Well, yeah, but it's not like he's standing there. I don't think it matters. I think occasionally he may walk by. And when he walks by, I take a large washcloth and I go, ha-hoosh. Ha-hoosh. I do not do that. Ha-hoosh. And then he collapses. Yes. In love. Oh, God. Whatever. Excuse me. Romantic. Hmm. Stop. Let's see. Come on, we're all adults. So foul. We are all adults. What are we, children? It's not like we're kids here. I think we can leave the door open. Kids leave the door open. Adults close the door. Thank you. No. I think that's where the confusion lies. No, please. You've got it opposite. We're all human beings. We all do the same stuff. That's right. In privacy. Well, if that's your choice, yes.
I don't know if there's a choice. It's appropriate and inappropriate. Eddie, let me ask you a question. Do you like bananas? No, I can't eat bananas. Okay. I'm allergic to them. We're different, you see. How does that make any sense? Let me ask you another question. What? Do you like to go to SeaWorld and see Shamu? No, I don't. Of course you don't. I don't like killer whales. I'm afraid of them. Because that's your preference. Well, I don't know if it's a preference. I'm afraid of them. Now, let me ask you another question. I don't like your questions. Do you close the door? Do you close the door in the restroom? Absolutely. Okay, that's your thing. I don't think everybody wants to smell my stuff. That's what you like. Take a listen to this. This Ashley's emails to me. Could be their own segment. And I'm not kidding you. I am not kidding you. She says to me in her note today that she has decided that she doesn't want to nap during the day anymore. Now, the reason this is interesting is because just yesterday she said that she's decided that she will now nap whenever she's tired. It's her body's way of telling her she must sleep. And she said it was affecting her.
Skin, you know, when she wasn't getting the rest, she said she could see it, right, Ash? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And you even have a special thing for your face you're putting on there. It's crazy, yeah. Sleep. What is it? Well, I, what, like moisturizer and stuff. Anti-aging. Anti-aging. Yeah, I have wrinkle cream that I use because my boyfriend's mom is a safe product. Oh, my gosh. My boyfriend's mom, who I also love. I love you so much. I love you if you're listening online. So I put the anti-wrinkle cream on at night to prevent aging. Rob is back with your drink, Ash. What the heck is that? Wait a second. He's going back if he didn't get the right thing. Is he a jackass? It's something with ice. And I recall her saying extra hot. Ash, tell everybody what you ordered. What did you order? I ordered from Starbucks a grande, nonfat, extra hot vanilla latte with a straw. Rob, what'd you get? I got an extra cold, an iced vanilla coffee large with a straw from McDonald's. What the heck? Dude, that is not...
No, I wrote it down. I even wrote it down. I wrote it down. He intentionally did that. Intentionally. Let's shave his head. That's right. I say we shave his head. If anybody's listening with clippers, please come down to the radio station. Hold on, hold on. I'm just joshing you. I used the change to get myself one. Can you bring me my coffee? Well, yeah. Rob, did you get a really long straw? This is worse. This is how it's going to be all morning. Oh, yeah. Look at that big grin on his face. He's got the long straws when he knows there's short straws available. Behind you, he's given the victory sign. Unreal. A quick time out. When we come back, tough love with Eddie. Anyone? Text us at 35253.

AccuView discovered them, and I talked you into trying them. We're road warriors. You know, long days, lots of miles, working out at the hotel gym. I'd pretty much given up on my contact lenses because they were so uncomfortable. I was the same way. But running and working out in glasses is an even bigger pain. These new contact lenses feel great even at the end of the day. And they've got Lacryon technology, a major breakthrough that embeds in moisture that stays in the lens throughout the day. I had a chance to go down and meet with the guys down at Amco. I met with them for about maybe longer. And I found out a lot of things while I was there. And I was getting to talk to them. First of all, I didn't know before I went there that they've been in business since 1964. Did you know that? Amco's been doing this a while. They're the world's biggest transmission place. They do complete car care there. So I'm not just talking about transmissions and that oil light, or excuse me, the check engine light that's on in your car. I'm talking about the fact that they do oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, cooling systems. They fixed up my neighbor's car. And I've told you about this for so long, man. Have you gotten the AMCO message? Some people have written me. Some people have called me and said, dude, thank you so much for the AMCO stuff. I'm taking my car to AMCO. I met a guy at our O. At L.A. Boxing. We were out at L.A. Boxing that told me that he had just gone to Amco. I believe in the products that I endorse, and Amco's one of them. Amco is double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Bryce Lee Train Mattress Centers. Casting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. Forget it. I'm irritated. Eddie. I mean, you want to talk about a buzzkill. Yeah. K-I-O-Z. This kind of agitates me. The Mikey Show continues featuring Mikey. I don't like horror movies anymore. Used to be my favorite genre of film. Eddie. I have a very big real fear of throwing up. Sky. I was just thinking in my head, I'm getting paid. Sean. I really like going to the doctor's office. Boston Rob. Even though I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. And Ashley. I am a really, really, really healthy eater. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's a Mikey Show. It is 719. A surfer in Del Mar yesterday morning found over 70 pounds of weed on the beach. Well, I know you guys are dying to find out who won the Stanley Cup. Oh, yeah. Cut 20. It means Sky gets to go back to Vegas and claim her money. She had a big bet on the Red Ways. Good going. Our text number is 35253, and our phone number here is 570-1053. Welcome back to the show. Don't forget, dads, if you are single and you got kids old enough to be able to ask three lovely ladies questions on your behalf, and you can come into the studio. When are we going to do this? Next Friday. Next Friday. A week from tomorrow. Friday the 13th. That's right. It could be your lucky day.
A week from tomorrow. So if you're a single dad and you have a kid old enough to be able to ask questions of three lovely ladies, then go to MikeyShow.com, type in the key word, dads, and then fill out the info. Conversely, if you are a young woman, and you don't have to be a young woman, you can be any age, doesn't matter. If you're single and you'd like to meet a guy. Oh, yeah. Then go to the website. Type in the keyword dads and you fill out your information too and send it to us. Get on this though and tell your friends about it if you know some single ladies and you go, you know what? I heard something on the Mikey show I think could be for you. Tell them to go there and force them if you have to. Body just kind of relaxed. That's right. That little tingly feeling. I did and like a warm feeling just engulfed me. You get it. That's nice. I think there's a lot of people listening right now that as soon as they heard that music, they were like, this is what I needed. Get me through those times. Clearly. You see, people go to our website, MikeyShow.com, and they click on the Tough Love with Eddie link, and they write Eddie emails, and they ask him for advice. Yeah. There's a reason that they go to Eddie. They go to Eddie because they want the real deal.
They want Eddie to do what Eddie does best, which is tell it like it is. AKA kick you in the groin. No, unless they ask for Skye. But really, I like to help people. I like to make sure that their problems are worked out and that they get the proper healing. Sometimes that's what you need to hear. If somebody came to Skye and they said, Skye, how does this shirt look? Skye would go, it looks great. And it doesn't. It doesn't. And you tell them that. It's not going to help, Skye. It's not going to help. They need to hear the real people. You look like a turd with arms. That's right. Well, no. See, Skye would not say that. Well, no. Skye would not say that. Looks like your neck threw up on your shirt. Again, that's not nice. That's not nice. Okay. Let's go to our first letter. Let's go to our first letter. Oh, that wasn't a letter? No, no, no. That was not a letter. That wasn't my best stuff. So you weren't prepared. This one says... Hey, dude. My boys and I are always hanging. We work at the same place, and we keep everyone cracking up. On the weekends, we always go out and hit the clubs. We usually pull some major tail and are all-around first-class players. One of my buddies thinks he can hold his liquor, but he can't. He's always saying...
He can drink anyone under the table, but the truth is he's a lightweight. He's such a lightweight that almost every time we leave a club, he ends up puking in the DD's car. Thank you for throwing that in. We're all sick of it. Eddie, what can we do? Signed P1 Jacob from PB. Dear Saturday Night Heaver. Well, the first thing you might want to do is have Nancy loosen her girdle. Sure, we've all occasionally had too much, and yeah, maybe even spewed a time or two, but every weekend, I mean, the only one who should be throwing up that much is a model trying to lose weight. That's bad. You ever hear that, Mike? That's bad, Eddie. No one should ever call it there. You ever heard of the old double-digit diet? No. Double-digit diet. Fat is foul. Don't do that. Don't do that. Okay. Actually, here are a couple things you can do, and I've done these many times before, okay? This is how you deal with your friend. Lace every one of his drinks with Ipecac. Now, if you don't know what that is,
It makes you throw up. It's what they use to pump your stomach out. Yes, Mike. And that way, by the time you hit the car, you won't have anything left in him. That actually might work. That's number one. Don't do that. Now, if that doesn't work, I have a number two. Here's number two. As soon as you get back to the car, hand him a barf bag. Now, what he doesn't know is that you've laced the rim of the bag with super glue. Oh, okay. Yeah. Don't guarantee no spillovers. Okay. That's really gross. Again, do this. Again, do really good. You'll never want to get in your car while drunk again. Oh, gosh. Now, even if that fails, there's one totally guaranteed solution. This is a numero tres. Okay. The last idea is not only effective, but also entertaining. Eddie. Mike. First, you have to get what's called a power inverter. Now, that's the thing that turns the cigarette lighter in your car into like a wall outlet. When he's in the car and ready to heave, take a standard blow dryer, plug it into the power inverter, and when he's about to blow chunks, turn it on and shove it in his face.
the stuff right back where it came from. Booyah. Very dangerous sounding. I like that. Okay, so number three is the consensus. I'm going to circle that one and send it back to Jacob. Yay on three. Letter number two. Here's letter number two. Letter number two says, Dear Eddie. I have a situation with my roommate and maybe you can help. I injured myself at work a few weeks ago and was prescribed Vicodin. I have to take it or I will be in immense pain. Well, I had noticed that my pills were disappearing rather quickly. Unless I was taking them in my sleep, my roommate Doug is stealing them. This isn't the first time that he's taken my medication.
I noticed the other prescriptions had disappeared before I asked him about it. He denied it, of course, but I know it's him. Do you have any advice to get him to stop? That's signed P1 Marine Mike in Oceanside. Eddie. Dear good pill hunting. Rob liked that one. Yes. Yes. Yes. Guys, this really does sound like a problem. I mean. Vicodin is a serious pill that needs to be taken only when prescribed. That's true. Or if you have a really cool friend that has the hookup. That's a good point. For the first time, I agree with that. That's a good one. That is a good one. Somebody write that down. Not a good point. On it. On it. I got that. Sky is sending the wrong message. Bad point. Oh, my bad. Come on, guys. Here's what you need to do with your little pill pirate. Please. You got to switch out those pills, man. You get some estrogen pills.
No, Eddie. Now, when he starts growing breasts and crying at Hallmark commercials, you know you're on the right path. That is one fix. Now, if that isn't satisfying enough, touch them with laxatives. Here's what you do. You make a fake prescription label, and you say you must take 10 every hour. To get a good buzz on. Wow. You put that on the label. To get a good buzz on right there on the label. That should teach him, man. If worse comes to worse, try some anthrax. Okay, good day, sir. Good day, sir. Glad I could help. Eddie added good day, sir. Yes, that always means. Well, it helps the medicine go down. Yes, I see what I'm saying. He's got a good bedside man. Uh-huh. Wow, that's great. It's really good, Eddie. And now comes the saddest part of Tough Love with Eddie. It's our final letter. No. Bring it home, Eddie. Final letter says, Dear Oracle, I'm nervous, bro. I'm taking my driving test next week, and my dad thinks that I will have to take it again. We've been practicing for four weeks, and I still can't make good Lance changes.
Maybe they put a C in there and it should be lane changes. It says, I get all nervous and stuff and then jerk the car back into my lane. My dad gets all freaked out and then I get even more nervous. What should I do, man? Signed P1 Mark N-R-B. Eddie? Dear Helio Castro Nervous. Thanks, buddy. Thanks. If you're trying to make Lance changes, it's all good because you can now do that legally here in California. I see. All right. Listen, Ellen's doing it. You guys heard that, right? Ellen's doing it. Yes, she is. She used to be Anne Heche's boyfriend.
But then Anne Hayes went all nuts, so she's getting married to that Tortilla de Rossi or something like that. Okay. Yeah, Tortilla Madori. Definitely not it. Bella Lugosi, whatever. I don't know. Whoever she's marrying. All I do know is they got Clay Aiken to get them pregnant, and now one of them. Is that what happened? and then one of them does like the hair club for men or something. What are you talking about? I don't know. I mean, who can keep track? I don't know. I think this young man is smart enough to understand that he can legally marry a man. Let's give the kids some credit, okay? He's writing about the driving test. The point is... The point is... He's not getting married to a dude. We have all been nervous before the big driving test, okay? So my suggestion is do what Marsha Brady did and picture your instructor in his underwear. That is what she did. And you're not nervous and you're still making Lance changes. Problem solved. No, no. Where's he coming from?

Something you may have missed this morning on the Mikey Show. They die on impact. The top three golfers in the world, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Adam Scott, are paired for the first two days at the U.S. Open together. You know, we're looking for the best pizza in San Diego. Talk about it. Yeah, this works. You know, if you work for a pizza place and you can bring us some pizza week from now on Wednesday, we can be six days. So next Wednesday, if you can bring some pizza down here, you work for a place, we're going to be judging you.
Yeah, and don't act like, oh, yeah, my pizza's the best, and you know it's not. We don't want to. You've got to really believe your pizza is the top pizza in town. Yeah, see, a lot of people listening right now, you're not going to get involved in this. And the reason that you're not is you're going to be like, you know, listen, I do my thing, my thing's okay, but I know that we don't rate up there with some of the best. I appreciate it. That's fine. I appreciate that. Thank you. There's a place for that. There's a place for you. That's fine. It's called mediocrity. Now, stay there. Here's the thing. What we're looking for is you pizza ports of San Diego. You extreme pizzas of San Diego. You, uh, uh, uh, uh, what's that place called? Knockout. Knockout. Where's Woodstock's? Where's Woodstock's? Where are you? Where you at? Where you at, Woodstock? Why aren't you calling us saying we want in? Because we're going to declare the best pizza in San Diego. Deloitte and Touche. from Los Angeles will come down here as an official accounting firm. Maybe they won't. How many times are you going to reference them today? Three times. So I got one coming up in the nine hour. I can't wait. It's going to be a good one. That's the deal, man. I mean, if you're a pizza place and you feel like you got some great pizza, then get a hold of us. And I don't necessarily feel like it needs to be like a crazy topping pizza. There's something to be said for a solid pepperoni pizza or cheese pizza.
Thank you. Absolutely. I mean, that's what I was thinking. I'm thinking, like, pizza. I think that's the best. I think some places are going to be like, oh, dude, we make this crazy. Like, you know, like we heard yesterday, clam and garlic. No. No. To me, I mean, I would try that. I'll vomit on you. I'll vomit on you. But look who you're dealing with, Skye. I just had a thing pop into my head, Eddie. What's that? I want you guys to stew on this. Oh, gosh. I don't like the look on your face. I know it. This is going to drive us crazy. There are seven people on the Mikey Show. Me, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, Rob, and Zeth. We must order a pizza. It must be a three-item pizza. And we must agree on the topics. On the toppings. Well, pepperoni across the board, right? We're all good with pepperoni. We're all cool. Sausages. I guess. Sausages. I do like sausages. Maybe. I'm out on sausages. Sausages. You're out on sausages? We just got the sausage. You're already out. We already have pepperoni.
I think we have our meat quota covered. No, we don't. I think we do. Pepperoni sausage is like a standard. It's like PB&J. This one's going to be hard. I don't think it's tough enough. I think it needs to be a forearm pizza. Yeah, right. We'll be here all day. Can I throw something out there? Pineapple. I don't want Hawaiian. I don't like Hawaiian. I don't like Hawaiian. You just put pineapple on anything. I don't want it. You're not going to fly. Anybody want mushroom? Yes. Oh, no way. No way. I want mushroom. Rob doesn't want it. It has to be unanimous, right? Sky says sausage is out. Yeah, sausage is out. How about black olives? No way. I love black olives. I like them. Olives, hey, Sean's wife said it best. Sean, what does Dina say olives taste like? She said they taste like wood, which I think is ridiculous. They taste like wood. Olives taste like wood. Stop it. I agree 100%. Olives are out. What about garlic? I got something we can all agree on. I'm okay with garlic. I'm in on garlic. I don't know that I want that to be one of my topics. I would be okay with it, but let's discuss more. The only thing we've agreed on so far is pepperoni. I got it. Onion? I'm fine with onion. No, thank you. Jalapeno.
I'm okay with jalapeno. I'm okay with jalapeno. I'm okay with jalapeno. No, thanks. No, not on a pizza. I agree with Eddie, man. That's weird. Well, we know bell peppers are out. Bell peppers are not. Why don't you just say bananas, okay? All right. We all know Eddie hates bell peppers. Why not fish? What? No. What about ground beef? No, thank you. Lenguisa, Mike. I'm in. I'm in. What is that? Sky's never had it. Eddie, Sky's never had it. What's Lenguisa? It's like a spicy sausage. Oh, I'm in on that. Extra cheese? No, thank you. White cheese, actually. Wait, wait. Is this a white pizza? Is that all I really like? You're racist. You're aarian. You shaved your head already. So what? Pepperoni is still all we've agreed on? Chicken? This is boring. Yeah, what about chicken? What, pepperoni? Barbecue chicken is chill. No way. Too tangy. I don't want tangy. I don't want tangy. No, no. Mike wants a fried egg or something.
I'm like running out of toppings. What else is there? Goat cheese. So good. Ricotta cheese. Ricotta. Mikey's show. Hey, what's going on? What's up? What's up, dude? Hey, man, I'm just throwing this out there, but every time, because I'm kind of an avid trier of these. Anchovy. No way. Have you ever had anchovies? No. Delicious. No way, dude. What about, what about Roma tomato? No. I'm all in on that. Skye says no. Skye hates tomatoes. She hates tomatoes. They're disgusting. No way. Canadian bacon. Yeah. I'm totally in. Oh, Skye, you know what that is? Wait a second. Skye, do you know what Canadian bacon is? Skye, do you know what Canadian bacon is? Damn. What a shock. I thought she said that the meat quota was filled already. Well, it is. It technically is, but since we can't agree on anything else, I'm willing to give no. But I don't agree on Canadian bacon. I don't think that'd be good with pepperoni. Okay, what about ham? No, with pepperoni? Yeah, plain ham. What about just ham?
Yeah. Skye's giving their okay on that. I'm good with it. Pepperoni and ham? Pepperoni and ham's fine. When you put it in the pizza oven, it's going to crisp up on the edges and be all good. That's fine. I'll do that. Eddie, are you fine with that? I guess. I mean, it kind of sucks that we have to do that. Why not? Saucy. Pepperoni and ham. Oh, man. Well, why not a lot of things? Why not jalapenos? What about pepperoncinis? Can you not say it like that ever again? Where are you from? I'm out on pepper-o-chinis. Yeah, they're good on the side. Who said no to onion? I did. You'd have had a pizza, man. Oh, pepperoni, ham, and onion? Sounds good to me. Who was out on mushroom? Rob. Rob ruined the mushroom for us. We would have all been good with that. We would have all been good with sausages, or we would have been all good with garlic. Like, everybody is just being picky. I'm fine with garlic. I'm fine with garlic, too. I mean, I wish it was something else. I mean, realize our pizza now is pepperoni ham and garlic. We have the grossest pizza ever. It's disgusting. Pepperoni, sausage, and garlic, it'd be money. Is that what you order? Well, I get half that, and then I get half that.
Round table does the best mushrooms because it's real super thin. It's like paper thin mushroom. Those are good. It's the best. Come on, Rob. Listen, I'll do onions for the team because it's not like I'm going to be throwing up. I just don't really care for it, but I'll take it. We got a pizza. No stick to your guns, Ash. No, it's okay. You don't want onion now? I don't really care for the onion. We were right there. P1 suggested artichoke hearts, but I don't even know what that is. I'm in on that. Maybe somebody should give a little on the black olive. Oh, really? I'm just saying. That was a long time ago. That was my sophomore year. It was actually New Orleans. Mikey's show. Hello. Hello? Yes, you're on the air. Oh, hey. I was wondering, would like a stuffed crust count as a third topping for you guys? No. That doesn't go on top. Yeah, it's not a top crust. By definition, it is not a topping. Plus it's cheese, which is already on the pizza. It's gross. Would we go with the thin crust or the thicker one? Get out of here with that. Because Eddie wants thin. I want original. Crumbled up to read. Let's vote. Let's vote. I vote. Let's see what's the most popular amongst us. I vote original. Eddie, thin crust? Thin. Skye? Thin. Sean?
I like original, actually. Gosh. This is a pepperoni, ham, and onion. Then I would say thick. Original. Oh, you mean the big deep dish? Yeah, the pizza pan. Oh, my God. Oh, my goodness. Why is that so crazy? The original. Great. Thanks, Ashley. Ashley, you have to come over to one of our sites. Then I will say thin. Original. Pepperoni, ham, and onion. Original. Original. Less calories. Less carbs. Original is thicker. Original. What do you want, Eddie? You like thin? Why? Because it's a normal pizza. It's like the pizza you get everywhere. Not in New York, dude. Calories and carbs. We'll go thin. We're all dieting on the show, aren't we? We're all dieting. I know I am. Fine. Mikey Show. Hey, what about green peppers?
Eddie hates him. Get out of here. Eddie hates him. That is the only food on the planet I despise. He hates him. Mikey Show. Hey, I've actually been a pizza judge before in my town, and what they do is they order two pizzas because they're having the same problems that you guys are having right now. I just made an observation. This guy's voice sounds just like the guy's voice that goes, Topics are fine, Eddie. Jump in any time. Chief Wiggum? Yeah. Go ahead. So you've been a judge before. Yeah, up in my town. It's P1 Dave. Oh, that is so funny. Jump in any time. Eddie, these are good times. Wow. Well, thank you, sir. Because I have no pizza. There you go. Jump in any time. Eddie, these are good times. Appreciate it very much. Thank you for calling. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah.
How about you guys get a supreme pizza and just pick off the toppings you don't want? No way. That's a lot of fun. No fun at all. This guy's pizza will just look like an abortion. Can you stop referencing abortion on this show? He has referenced that about a billion times. We should not use that as a descriptive word on this program. Let's see. All right, so we're getting a bunch of text messages at 35253. What do we got? And you can call us at 570-1053. We would love to hear from you. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey, what's up? What's up? Did you guys make your decision on your pizza already? Well, it sounds like it's gross. It's gross. It's gross. It sounds like it's going to be pepperoni, ham, and garlic. You two go great together. Right? Did we disagree on onion? Did we finally go out on it? No, because Sky said no on onion, too. All right, well, okay, how about this? What if we were to do, like, herbs? What about basil? No. I would be good on basil. I would, too. I'd be good. Sky's out. Eddie, do you hate basil, too? I don't hate basil. It wouldn't be one of my top pizza choices. Okay, what about other veggies, like broccoli? Oh, come on. I dare you. This is pizza. All right. It's delicious on pizza.
You're nuts. You know, CPK does carrots on there when they do the Thai. Oh, that Thai thing? That's good. You like Thai pizza? Yeah. But you won't have sausage on your pizza? It's like chicken, peanuts, and carrots. Skye, I know you don't like tomato, but what about sun-dried tomato? Ooh, yes. Oh, it's delicious. Skye, just give me a look. What's the matter with you? Thank you. So good. I might, by the way, go olive if we can agree on Kalamata olives. I love those purple olives. What? Did they even put those on pizza? Yeah. Since when? I think they're delicious. Like a feta. Yeah? Ooh, dude, now we're talking. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We are talking. What? Anybody for seafood on there? No, Mike, no. You don't want tuna on there? Crab pizza. Shush. No, thank you. Chorizo? Ooh, delicious. Dude, chorizo pizza is pretty good. Sky, you in on that?
I know what everybody will agree on. What about meatballs? Hey, the meatballs. Rob's old roommate? Yeah, we'll put him on there. Definitely don't want that. Salami? I love that. I'm good with salami. So it'd be pepperoni, ham, and salami? Look at Skye's face. She's like so grossed out. Skye, what is a pizza that you order? If you're eating by yourself, you get a mini pizza. What are you getting? We always get pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive. Those are the only acceptable toppings. Occasionally you can have a Hawaiian, but that's only for like special. Have you ever tried pepperoni sausage? I don't care for it. You don't like sausage? Sometimes a hubby will talk me into getting something with sausage, but I have to pick it all off. Sausages. Because it's disgusting. So good. Disgusting. What if we use a different type of cheese? Goat cheese. I don't want to talk about that. It's so good. Hey, some of these pizza places, they put a little grated cheddar cheese on there. That's delicious. Would that count as topping? Yeah, I guess so. Extra cheese. I'll go for that. You're in on that, Sky? Yeah. I'd rather have that. We have the most horrendous pizza. This is the worst. It sounds so disgusting. I don't even want to eat it. I'm just getting crazy sticks, Mike. Crazy sticks? Whatever it's called. Crazy bread?
Crazy bread. I've been eating that little Caesar since I was in high school. When we come back, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to do something called Sean TV. He said, I've come out to do Love Me Tender. And he said, I know you're a friend of James Dean. He said, I really think he was one of the great actors. And I wonder if I could hang out with you and you can maybe show me where he lives. So we spent about a week and a half together.
I took him around town, and this was before all of his cousins and all of his entourage came out. We spent a week and a half investigating where James Dean had lived and race cars and whatever. And then he went off and did a little me tender. Unbelievable. What a life story. What a life story of Dennis Hoffman. The Mikey Show continues. This is The Rock. Did you guys just see the name on the bottle of what Sean's drinking? No. He just drank out of that bottle? Tell everybody what it's called, Sean. Pocari, Mike. What the heck? That's not all it's called. No, read it. Eddie, look. Look at the camera. Sweat? Pocari Sweat. Pocari Sweat. What is that, Mike? It's an Indian jewelry salesman in Manhattan. And his sweat? Yes. His name is Patel. Pocari Patel. That's...

Why do you let Ashley and Sky determine what would taste good? That's a good question.
that didn't want mushrooms. We all said that we all got a voice. It says Skye won't eat anything that isn't bland. That's not true. That is true. Pepperoni is bland. And it says, and you've seen some of the stuff that Ash makes for dinner. The only thing I really don't want is onion. I'm okay with everything else. It says any recommendation from either of them would be the anti-unknown eater endorsement and I would pick at the place. Oh, shut up, Peter. Wow. Wow. It says you guys don't cave like the boo. I want to know where the best good pizza is in San Diego. So do we. That's the point, clown. Remember the sandwich challenge? I'd rather listen to Sky complain and pick stuff off than know where the best pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive pizza is. Boring. There we go. She heated up sweet potato soup from Henry's in a saucepan. It was organic. Sweet potato soup from Henry's. She heated that up in a saucepan. Eddie looks perplexed. Eddie, it's organic. I don't care about that. It doesn't help. Eddie, I don't know if this helps, but she also steamed some zucchini for it. Steamed means she boiled it? Yeah, she boiled it. She put it in. She is shaking her head really, really adamantly, yes. She boiled zucchini in water. And then what did you do? Cut up that boiled zucchini and stick it in the sweet potato. You cut it up first, Mike.
And then you put it in the water, just a tiny bit of water. So it absorbs the water better. Just enough to cover it on the stove on high. And then once it's cooked, and I put that on the side, and then I have a cup of sweet potato soup. She said she added a slice of focaccia bread to boot. Fresh from Mona Lisa in Little Italy. Oh, wow. Look at this. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness. Look at what's going on here. Two beautiful women just walked in the studio wearing sombreros. Is there something odd about that? What's going on? Is that weird? What is going on here? Well, Jen from the Padres wanted to bring some... Has lost her mind? Is that what you're going to say? Has completely lost her mind? The big... Come over to the microphone. ...is going on on Friday night, and they wanted to bring some Mexican food in. Muchachos, muchachos, please, come over to the microphone. It's por favor. Por favor, por favor. And I said the only way they can come in, Mike.
As if they wore sombrero. Is that what you told them? Is that why she gave you the bird when she walked in? Come have a seat. Come have a seat. That is hysterical. That is hysterical. I love it. And they brought Mexican food. Come over to the microphone. Come over to the microphone. Have you ever had to do this before to... She's so irritated. She's so irritated. Are you in the spirit now? Have you ever had to do this before to come in and promote? Absolutely not. This is the first time ever, right? I'm dressed in a very nice outfit right now, and I am wearing a sombrero like I am already at Fiesta Como's Padre. Thank you. No Como. No camera. Get the cameras up. It's fantastic. No cameras. Oh, please. It's fantastic.
This was not part of it. Every day, every day, the Mikey Show does this. We take pictures every day of what's going on in the studio. This is not part of the arrangement. Who did you bring with you? Who did you bring with you? Who are your hermanas? Good morning. What's her telling you? I'm Kenna. Kenna. From the pod squad. Kenna's from the pod squad. And who else did you bring? This is Nicole. Nicole. Nicole. She's a lovely marketing intern for the pod race. She's got on a sombrero, too. What a great job, huh? She has on a sombrero, too. Yes, yes. She actually had these at home, so I called her last night and was like, I have to do this. Yeah. It's Nicole, you said, right? Yes. Well, and the best part is that we're actually going over to one of your sister stations, and I emailed their producer and said, This is what Eddie said, and he's like, well, then heck yeah, you're coming on. That's fantastic. So I had to pop in their studio and show them that I, in fact, was wearing it. Wow. And, Nicole, why did you have these? Well, my father is from Mexico, and he decided one day that he wanted to get some real authentic sombreros, and he purchased this very large black sombrero with sequins, and he actually sports it every day at home. That is great. That's good. That is great. Welcome to Grupo Montez de Durango. Yeah.
It looks like Three Amigas. Wow. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. You want any quote from that movie? Right here. There you go. Well, you're ready. You're ready. And Eddie, why are they doing a Mexican theme? What's going on? Well, on Friday, Friday's game against the Mets, they're doing their fifth annual Fiesta con los Padres. Ah, yes, yes. Which is a big Latino culture festival they're going to be doing out at Peco Park. Delicious food and margaritas and sangria and all kinds of stuff. They can learn how to salsa dance out there. Will you be out there salsa dancing? Absolutely. I've already had some requests of people wanting to salsa dance. Yes, that would be fantastic. Actually, when I was in college, I took salsa dancing lessons and was asked to not come back because I accidentally, this is a true story, hit the instructor in the head so hard with my elbow that he looked at me like... I hate you. Wow. And I wasn't really asking back, but the look that he gave me was like, you're not allowed back in here. I get it. I get it. Usted esmudo. You also have Kenna from the Pod Squad. And Kenna, what will you guys be doing out there, the Pod Squad? We're going to be...

It looks like you guys brought some food. We brought the pork carnitas. The pork carnitas. There you go. And we actually brought some chips. We make everything fresh. Did you really? That is phenomenal. The three of us. The three of you. Wearing sombreros. It's interesting, though, because it looks like they're in some sort of to-go package. But, you know, who are we to, you know... Might have been made by our chefs yesterday. Okay, got it. And I brought in... Who might take the hat off his headphones? It works. I think it works fine. I think it works fine. I don't think there's any problem with it. I don't think there's any problem. I haven't talked about you wearing hats. Well, you want me to do it checker style. Well, no. You are handsome like a rapper. That's right. Can you get up and side your pants? That's right. That's right. If I were wearing any, then yes. This is getting weird.

But they are a really big band down in Mexico. I mean, this is a huge coup. Grupo Montez de Durango. Did I get it right? Grupo Montez de Durango. Oh, man. Hola. Hello. Listen to the fiesta menu that's going to be going on out there. Well, first of all, margaritas and sangria, of course. But grilled carne asada served with Mexicali rice and beans. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Carnitas torta with roasted chiles, cotija cheese, and tortilla chips. Well said. Corn and cheddar jack cheese empanadas. Bacala cakes. Bacala. Yes. Bacala, he was the guy that was in that Quantum Leap, right? Yeah, Bobby Bacala. Oh, that guy. Bobby Bacala. Here's one that Sky will like. Salted codfish cakes will be out there. So the next guy would be cilantro slaw. It'll be really good with his citrus sour cream and chili sauce. It sounds good. It sounds fun. And it's this weekend. It's a big weekend for him. Oh, Sunday. They're handing out Jake Peavy gloves for the kids. Those are awesome.
That's cool. Padres caps on Saturday and Friday. They're encouraging all the fans to wear their Padres stuff around town all day long. Heck yeah, dude. This will be really good. So thank you, ladies. That was very nice. Thank you for having us. Very, very nice. And thank you for the Mexican food. And did you see that we did beat the best team in baseball last night? That's right. The Cubs beat them. Eddie, come on. I mean, it's true. They did. They did. They beat them. That's good. You did. They did. Hockey went out there, had the save. It was real good. It was real good. Eddie won't look at her. What do we have on the document? Or possibly burn up. Eddie, you have to tell me what we're doing. You mentioned Sean TV, I believe, I think. Why don't we do some of this? Let's do this. Yeah. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Yeah. Whatever Sean likes. Well, you know that it might be not as gay as something. Watch my Mikey when he's watching. Yeah. You know he's standing up. Come on. This is Sean TV. All right. This is a segment of The Mikey Show. Thank you, ladies. Thank you for coming in. Sorry about Eddie.
I know. He's incorrigible. Why do you say that? I'm just saying. That's right. Did you not enjoy the festive atmosphere I provided? Well, I mean, they look beautiful. He's very precocious. Very precocious. All right, Eddie. Sean TV is where we have Sean give us a review of... That's not even a review. He gives us an introduction. He introduces us to something that he's watching on television. A lot of great shows, Mike. The thing is, he watches stuff that most of us don't watch. Not only TV shows that we've never heard of, but channels we've never heard of. That's true, too. Yeah. He's like, you can find that on the Kelsey channel, Mike. It's available, you know. Because I want to get in the mood. That's disgusting. It's a soft drink from Japan, non-carbonated. You know, Sean's just like all of us. Very normal. So, Mike, this week we are going to go back to G4 Television.
Oh, you got banana check? Yeah, you want banana check today? Get me some banana check. Maybe next week. However, this week we are going to, I'm going to tell you about a great show called Ninja Warrior. No, no, really. This is a real show. Yeah, it's a real show. It's on G4 television. It is a... What they've done is... You know, all of us watch G4 television. I don't know what that is. I don't know why you wouldn't. Where is that? It's a technology-based television channel. Technology channel. Sounds like fun. So, Ninja... Thanks. Yeah, sounds like a party. It does. A rager. Yeah, a rager. May I? May I? Please. You may. Thank you. Ninja Warrior Mike is a... is a sports challenge show. It's kind of like American Gladiators, where they've set up obstacle courses and people have to, you know, wind their way through. The person that makes their way all the way through the obstacle course is dubbed the Ultimate Ninja Warrior. Okay. So, in this first clip, Mike, we're going to listen to Hiromi Satake. I'm sorry? As Hiromi Satake.
Hiromi Satake as he nearly makes it through. Hiromi Satake? What? Is this a Japanese? Yes, I believe it is. May he please? Oh, yes, you may. As he nearly completes the course, but not quite. Again. Can't understand it. Probably more visual. Yeah. I don't understand what's going on. See or hear what's happening. Sean's freaking out. Sean, we speak English here. No, we don't. The drama, Mike. This show's incredible. Yeah, but we don't understand it.
We're going to go out to the floor, Mike, as Aoki Koniki talks to Hiromi Satake about his near win. Help that lady. It was a tough loss, Mike. It was a tough loss. But he took it like a champ. It's Ninja Warrior, Mike. It's on G4 TV. It happens weeknights at 8.30. I'll see you there. No, actually, you won't. You will see yourself there alone. That needs to be a clip we use forever. P1Nerd is on the line. Thank you. Greetings. I want to support Sean in Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke. Those are two of the greatest shows on G4. Sean is now flexing his...

It's a Mikey show at 835. Sharon Stone has been banned from the Shanghai Film Festival because of her China earthquake karma comments. Big Brown draws the unpopular number one position for Belmont on Saturday. So I think that Ashley needs to give Rob some more stuff to do. For sure. All he's done is got coffee so far. Oh, that's it? Did he give you a back rub? Did he give you a neck rub? Oh, yeah. What happened to the neck rub? Did Boston Rob give you a neck rub? No. He's almost acting as if this isn't happening. Oh, no. I'm very attentive. He isn't. He did not give her a... What are you doing, Dave? No, no. Not even at all. Not even at all. Rob, where was the neck rub? Why did you not give her a neck rub? All right. You want me to go do that right now? Yeah, that'd be great, bro. You're my slave. Make him run around the building in his underwear or something. This is garbage. I don't understand why...
I'm almost to the point now where I'm like humiliation. Like, Rob, make a sign that says Ashley is the most amazing, smartest person alive and go walk around the building in your underwear with the sign. I'm good with that. Whatever you want. Like, he had it easy in the beginning. He's not doing it, so. I've been so cool. Yeah, you have. So, Rob, can you get to that? Yeah, yeah. Can I just change out this one thing? Yes. Okay. Yes. He's taking the I'm busy tactic. A joke as well. Mike, I have too many things to do. Gotta take care of you, Mike. Yeah. That's all I'm saying. You come first, brother. Rob, hurry up. This kid. I don't know what to do with him. Get in there, Rob. Move. Jeez. He's the worst. He is. I'm trying to take care of my boss. I'm your boss today. He's doing like the karate chop type massage. Can you move my hair so it's not pulling my hair? Now he's using his elbow. I'm not moving. That doesn't look good. He's trying to like do it but not do it. Yeah, right? Right? Can you move my hair? And then can you massage my neck?
Because that's where my pain is. Don't. Hey. Why do you look like, you know, you're moving seaweed off rocks? Yeah, that's exactly what he looks like. It's all he looks like. Right here. Seaweed. Look at his face. I know. What is he afraid of? Really get in there, man. Yeah, get up in it. A lot of tension built up. Yeah, I don't blame her. I don't blame her. You're stressing me out. You're starting to stress her out by relieving her stress. How about your feet, Ashley? How are your feet feeling? Let me see. Ashley, what do you got on your feet? What do you got on your feet? Oh, I thought she was wearing shoes. It turns out they're barefoot. They're green on the bottom. They have a weird discoloration. Ashley. Because she just got back from Hobbiton. No, no, seriously. Why are they like that? I don't know any of this. Rob, they're filthy. I could not do that. Ash, make him rub your feet. Make him rub your feet. Oh, she's sticking them on his chest. She's sticking the bottom of her feet on his chest. Oh, okay, Rob. Rub those feet. Tell him to rub your feet. You got to do it, Rob.
There he goes. He's sticking his hands on her feet. No, tell him to do it right. That's not a real massage. Tell him to do it right. He's touching it with, like, barely his fingertips. I'm going to go in there. Mike, get... I'm going to go in there. Get this kick. Kick his butt, dude. Are we in break? No. Are we in break? No. Mike's coming in to get you. You're dead. No. No break symbol, Rob. He's got to go, like, in between the toes and stuff. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Really? Ashley, tell him in between the toes. I am. Look at this. Look at this. The boss is here. The boss is here. It's going to work. I want you to put your hands on her feet like you mean it. No, no, no. Apply pressure. Can Mike hear us? Can you look at the bottom of her feet and see what's going on there? I can't hear. You want me to describe the bottom of her feet? Please, because it's gross. It's not. Talk about it. Mike. I can't hear you, but I'm going to do my best, okay? I'm going to tell you what the bottom of her feet look like. And I'm not kidding. Ashley. I'm not kidding. Take your headphones off. Let me use Ashley's headphones. There you go. Now I can hear you. What's going on with those feet? I'm going to honestly tell you. The bottom of her feet look like they're jaundiced. Seriously? They're like this weird yellow color.
All right, Rob. Rob honestly looks like he's going to hit you. Is it like a callus or something? Dude, it's like a callus, but she walks around barefoot, you know. All the time, Mike. All right, Rob. I hate cheese. Listen to me. I'm not going to touch him, but I'm going to put my hands. There's stuff on the bottom of them. Let me show you. Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob. Pay attention to me. Is she walking around in polenta? Let me ask her. Ash, do you walk around in polenta? I want you to take your thumbs like this, and I want you to wrap your hands around your foot, and I want you to dig those thumbs in there. That'll feel good. Oh, he's done! There he goes. Now get up in there where the yellow is. No, no, no, no. There's dirt on them. Need them like you're doing, I don't know. Like it's a yeast infection. Okay, no. All right, Rob. Rob.
That's your fiance's chest. Look at her feet. I don't want to look. I don't want to look. Look at her feet while you rub them. Look at her feet. Mike, you know what feels really good is in between the toes. That feels really good. Don't make him do that. He's going to throw up on us. That feels really good. I got to make him do it. It feels so good. What? What? Rob, you know what feels really good? Oh, my gosh. You know what feels really good is in between the toes. It's one of my favorites. Seriously? Dude, his lips just shook. His lips just shook like he's going to throw up. I haven't seen that face on Rob since Bizarre Foods with Boston Rob. Rob, get in between those toes. Get in between those toes. Rob, don't do it. All the colors are out of his face. He's pulling her big toe. Get in there and really work it in. There you go, Rob. Rob in there. Rob in there. Rub in there. Get the other little piggy too. Don't close him. He closed her toes on his fingers. He grabbed me. Get in between the other little piggies. Zeth, bring the camera in here. Nobody wants to see this. Get in between there. Hey, Rob, here's what I want you to do. When's the last time you flossed? Listen to me. I want you to do this. I want you to do this exercise.
I want you to hold her foot like you're holding her hand. Like with the toes. No, no, no. With your fingers and her toes. Yeah. Oh! You know what I'm saying? Interlock. That's so gross, dude. That's really sweaty. Let me see. Oh, mom. Let me see a picture. That's so gross. Am I going to be in this? She's such a camera. Right? That is so gross. Look at him. Look at him. Wow, it's weird. He doesn't look happy. It's on. That is on. Wait, wait, wait. Let me film this. So foul. I can't get him in here. It's so gross. They're so piggy-like. I wonder if she showered yesterday. I don't know. She has severe portos. Yes, she does. They're like hooves. Take your hands out. Take your hands out. No. Oh, no. Smell your fingers. Smell your fingers. What?
He's smelling his fingers right now and gagging. He looks like he's gagging. They don't even smell. That's stupid. Now, Rob, stick your fingers in your mouth. No! What about a pit massage, Mike? What, a what? A pit massage. Yeah, give her a pit massage. Good job. Give her a pit massage. You're rubbing your hands on her, Rob. Give her a what? That is so good. That's not even real. That is. I don't even see them. That is so great. Oh, dude. How about a pit massage? That would feel great. That would feel great. You're so sweaty right now, though. Mike, are you going to put those rubber gloves on? No, no. You can't put those rubber gloves on. Drop those rubber gloves. Come on, Rob. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's so gross. Should I take my jacket off? Yeah. That's so gross. Check a picture of it first. It's cold. Oh, dude. She's going to have bear pits. No. This is unsanitary. Give her a pit massage. This is unsanitary. Rob. Oh, he's grossed out. Oh, he fingers. He smelled his fingers. He's going to get in there. That didn't count. That's so gross. He's touching her sweaty.
Is he checking her for, like, breast cancer? What's going on? Dude, it's a massage. Oh, my. Rob's sweating now. All right, Rob, now suck your thumb. She clapped down. She clapped down. That is the best. Tell him he can't wash his hands for, like, the entire day. Yeah, Rob, you can't wash your hands through the rest of the show. That's a good point. All right, hey. I'm going to come back in there, and we're going to load this video right away. You have to. Oh, man. Oh, man. Wow. Wow, it's odd. Rob looks a little sad. Oh, my God. I don't know. He looks a little down and out. Load that. I don't know why. That is weird. Do they have to do it upstairs in promotions? That was ridiculous. Yeah. He's taking it upstairs in promotions. That was video? Dude, I videoed it, too.
So we're going to load. So get the pictures and the video as soon as you can. As soon as you can. That was crazy. More to come. That was great. Let me see you guys see that video. Like, literally, only my brother could do that to me and be comfortable. Like, for real. He wasn't comfortable. There was no comfort. So, in other words, totally different from what just happened. Oh, my God. All right, I got some audio of Lars Ulrich here. Oh, really? Talking about how the album feels. The new album. This was at a, on the phone, Lars is on the phone here, in a press conference to London, talking about the new album, Cut 21. So good. It's definitely pretty all over the place. There's a lot of variation, a lot of, you know, fast, slow, robotic, kind of hardcore, nutty, super fast speed stuff, and a little more like, you know, some of the earlier records were a little more dynamic within, you know, the songs. It feels like it's kind of a lot of that stuff.
Wes Scantlin, the lead singer of Puddle of Mud, talking about their new single, Cut 22. It's definitely aggravating and frustrating. But at the end of the day, a lot of the initial advice that the record label was emitting to us, you know, you got to kind of open up your mind and accept it and see if there is something better. And I think 90 to 95 percent of all the ideas and extra thoughts came out really positive. They sound so intelligent. It's like Eckhart Tolle, line six, Oprah. Thank you, babe. The elite singer, the writer of a new earth, anyway. Aaron Lewis on the lyrics of their new album, cut 23. Vocally, I've been to on the what you would expect from me type of lyrics. It's weird, he's talking to Lars on the phone. This is a conversation. This is a phone conversation. We kind of approached writing a bit different. We kind of came up with a topic to think about in writing it rather than just letting it come flying out of my mouth like I've always done. Topic they chose, childhood obesity. Oh, wow.
He needed a topic for the album, and that's why this one was so different. So Barbara Walters was on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Oh, no. Interesting. And he asked her a pretty interesting question. Cut 18. You have sat down with Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, Muammar al-Qaddafi, Star Jones. Who is craziest? Pulling John McCain. I don't even know. I'm doing a big ending. No. You know, I did ask Muammar Gaddafi if he was crazy. You know, I did. How does he take that? But you see, you don't say, are you crazy? Because you say, you know, there are people who think that you're crazy. It's never you. It's always, you must know the rumor about you. You have heard, Mr. Putin, that there are people who think that you might have...
Kill somebody. Kill anybody? I disagree. No? I don't like that way of going about it. How would you go about it? If I wanted to ask somebody if they were crazy, I would say, would you rate your mental health, on a scale of one to five, where would you rate your mental health? One being, I'm nuts. Five being, I'm way more sane than the rest of the world. And I'd be interested to see how they would answer it. Right. Now, if they say five, Then we work from there. Okay, now we got a place to start. Yeah. Now let's talk about some of the wackier things that you've done. Now, where would you rate that on a scale of one to five in terms of wacky? Is that one being just completely wacky, five meaning everybody does that. Are you kidding me? I like that. And then they say, I rate that at a five. And you go, okay. All righty then. And then you're kind of giving the silent wink to the camera like, you see nuts. And he's nuts.
So I told you that we were going to hear this thing from Anderson Cooper on Anderson Cooper 360. Yeah, so they're doing election coverage Tuesday night. And Anderson is asking their political strategist about a conversation that she had with Barack Obama. And, you know, he's pressing her for the inside scoop and stuff. And this is what she says to him. It happens during this conversation. Cut 19. To listen to that speech. Did he tell you in that phone conversation that you had privately with him about how he plans to do that, how he plans to reach out, how he plans to uniform? Of course he's told everyone that he plans to sit down with Senator Clinton. I'm looking for something he hasn't told anyone else, just you. Anderson, you're not my boo. I want to be your boo. Anderson, you're not my boo. And no, you don't. I don't even frankly know what he is. We don't have fun. Are we still on TV? I'm not sure what that means exactly. Anderson, I'm not your boo. Anderson, you better watch it. So your boo is...
Now, can anybody say boo or is boo just something that a woman says about her man? Or can a man have a boo, too, and that's his lady? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah? I have a boo. Yeah. Yes, you do. I have a bunny boo. I have a body boo. Yes, you do. I love them. I love them. That's right. I love them. I love them. So cute. I'm going to dedicate song to them. of my dedicating this song. It's not random, but okay. Well, because it sounds just like the Dave Matthews band. It's the best I can do. So here you go, boo. This one goes out to you. Hamsbury Hills. That's right. It's called Hamsbury Hills. Shut up. We're singing some Hamsbury Hills here, buddy. Come on down to Hamsbury Hills. Eat some ham and then we'll chill. This is The Mikey Show. People go to our website, mikeyshow.com, and they click on the Tough Love with Eddie link, and they write Eddie emails, and they ask him for advice. Dear Eddie. I have a situation with my roommate and maybe you can help. I injured myself at work a few weeks ago and was prescribed Vicodin. Well, I had noticed that my pills were disappearing rather quickly. Unless I was taking them in my sleep, my roommate Doug is stealing them. Do you have any advice to get him to stop? Eddie. Dear good pill hunting, you got to switch out those pills, man.

So would you like to hear Boston Rob in college? What? I'm so nervous. I'm so nervous. Yes. Please. Yeah. How long ago, Rob? Oh, how old am I? That's two years ago. I'm ancient, man. Yeah? Been in this business for, oh, I don't know how long. Oh, this was like a full 20 months ago. This was like 2003. Back when I was a baby in this day. 2002. Great impression. So five years ago. Yeah, about five, six years ago now. Wow. It was around my Coney days. He had just invented the radio. Nikolov Tesla had just come up with a radio you can plug in. So this is a public service announcement that Rob recorded back in college. How many chicks did you sleep with this year? You're having sex. You should use a condom. Duh. Mike, who is that? What is that? Who is that? Clips from movies, right? Rob. What? Mixed in there. What was that? That was Rob? No, that guy was gargling razor blades. No, that was Rob. That was not Rob. No way. Like, not for a second. I didn't think that was Rob. I thought that was another clip. That's Rob. As Seth put it. Dude, listen. Play it safe.
Wear a condom. Yeah, one is all you need. Yeah. This message brought to you by the New England Institute of Art and all independent radio. Okie dokie. What the hell? Clear your throat. Why is he talking like that? My jaw. My jaw was chopped open. Hold on. I don't even know what to say, Mike. As you might have heard, there was some hard living back in the day. Whoa. I did a lot of partying. Hard living. Oh my God. Dude. Lindsay Lohan or something. Right? Exactly. Okay, here is it. I can't wait. I'm in shock. It gets a little better. It gets a little better. All right, here's one of his college promos. Hey, join me, Robbie Shades, with my partners in crime, Alex Hunt and Calvin C. Every Tuesday night for Twist Them Up Tuesdays.
That's right. Are you sort of singing along? Well, isn't that the point, Mike? Is he singing along? It wasn't for the ears. Well, at first it sounds like he's just delivering it, but then it sort of bounces with the music. The music takes over, man. But aren't you supposed to do that when you do a promo? Twist them up Tuesdays. Twist them up Tuesdays. You like that? Yes. A night from 7 to 9 p.m. on the one, the only, the fantabulastic, all-independent radio. What the heck? Rob, so this was a college radio station? Yeah, it was an internet college radio station. He's actually playing the bongos. Wow. I was supporting that. In the nude. So it was an internet college radio station. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We couldn't afford the license and nothing like that. Gotcha, gotcha. How are you today? I'm Miss Cleo. Rob, did you put that together? Yeah, I did all the production, everything myself. So you had to go get these clips. Yeah.
And then load them all in. It was all for like, I had production classes where they'd be like, you know, you need this many sound clips. This needs to be in the script. You know, you need, it's either going to be dry or you need a bed in there. You need this, that. We would do donuts. So it was all graded, you know, and then we would just use whatever we did in class. Do you remember what you got as a grade on this? Dude, I graduated with a 375. Really? So you got a really good grade on this? Good. It doesn't sound bad. I mean, the production sounds good to me. And we did, like, splicing. Wait till he talks. Yeah, yeah. I was partying a lot back then. Start it again. Hello, how are you today? I'm Miss Cleo. Hi, my name is Rocky Balboa, the Italian style. I'm Peter Vinkman. Officer Homer. Michael Jackson. Hi, this is me, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, none of those people will be joining me, but you can. I mean, it's as if he's been screaming, like, you know, and his voice is completely lost. Like, he didn't sleep all night because he was up screaming and drinking bourbon and chain smoking. Yes. You were there? Yeah. Dude, I'm telling you, when I was living in Boston, dude, I was living a different life. I went, oh, man. Yeah. It was scary. Spanked out.
I can't even lie. How would they let you on the air with that? That is disgusting. I don't understand what your problem is. I think it actually sounds kind of sexy. Thursday morning from 9 till noon with Robbie Shades on all independent radio, the hub of new music. It's like an 80-year-old man. Wow. It puts the lava in your java. I mean, is he kidding me? Can we use that as a clip, please? Can we always use that as a clip? Well, that's kind of embarrassing. It's the Mikey Show. It puts the lava in your java. Thank you. It puts the lava in your java. It's the dojo for your mojo. Oh, yeah. So chillax.
This is not happening. So, it's a combination of chill and relax. Chillax. That never caught on. Weird. Yeah, it just never spread throughout New England. I gave it a big push-off on the internet. There's a good six months of me just, you know, pass out buttons and bumper stickers. Hey, does anyone want a chillax? Please. Have a bottle of Jack. Come on. B-I-A. That's Rob. That is not Rob. It's Rob, you guys. That voice says criminal record. That is true. You're binge listening on Spank That Booty Out of Bed, morning to midday show. Oh, groovy, baby. Oh, yeah. With the porn music. That's where I got it from. You gotta take that booty out of there. Come on. My voice is so low with this cold. Oh, man. So this is Rob's college final that I have. Yeah, I had to put together. Now what we had to do was do like.
you know, fake commercials for different places around the way, like do a traffic thing, a news thing, a sports thing. So you're going to hear me like puking a lot in this because it had to be very pronounced and enunciated. And like that was part of the grading. So can you believe that that's what they teach? Oh, yeah, dude. Don't go to school. I'm going to tell anybody listening right now is considering a career in broadcasting. Don't go to school for it. If any place is trying to sell you. To go to their broadcast school and they're going to teach you. Schools of broadcasting are, it's like a pyramid. You might as well take your money and flush it down the toilet. It's a rip off. To relearn everything they teach you. Yeah. Yeah. We had a whole class on losing your Boston accent. Which is so stupid because that's what makes you great. That's why we hired you, Rob. A whole class on not being you. That's what it was. The opposite thing that you do to be successful in radio. Awful. Awful. You're going to die when you hear. I'm just going to leave. This isn't it. Oh, no. Oh, no. Well, you know, I had to be graded on certain things. Sure, Rob. Sure. Here we go.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you. But let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. Wonderful audio, by the way. Audio quality is really clean. Old time radio feel. Sounds great. Hey, man. What's going on? Just going up to Newberry Comics, dude. Oh, for real? Yeah, man. Didn't you know that Newberry Comics has the best selections of CDs? I mean, you gotta be kidding, man. Is that meatball that you're doing the commercial with? No, no, no. That was a boy in my class. Dude, it's like he eats cactus every day. Yeah, I think he did. It's so bad. Steady diet of cactus and bourbon. Right. Well, he did eat cactus, but it got infected. DVDs. Whoa! Time for your WAIR traffic. Brought to you by Newberry Comics. No, you didn't. I can't handle this. This is great. No, it's not. Hey, gang, it's Rob. From Newberry Comics, this week's Wicked Good special is Pepper is New. Listen to that voice. I can't handle it. If I were to have listened to this and you said to me, now which one of these guys is working in radio? I would not have picked that guy that was talking like this. But that's the one that did well. The Mikey Show continues. This is The Rock. It is 923. A celebrity photographer has been arrested for allegedly stalking Jamie Lynn Spears. This is amazing, Rob. Derek Jeter passed Mickey Mantle on the career hit list for the Yankees. It's really unbelievable. What a jerk. Derek Jeter. Really unbelievable. How are you going to disrespect Mickey Mantle like that? I just think that he's a bigger legend now. Really an accomplishment. Rob says hats off to you, Derek Jeter. No, I do not.
You are my hero, Derek G. Yes, that's right. You're my man, Derek G. Oh, wow. The video is up. Oh, no. Speaking of which. I got to see it. Rob, get me more water. There you go, Rob. Can you get her some more water? I'll be back in an hour. You are her slave for the day. Mike, I've already drank 33.8 fluid ounces this morning. Oh, very good. Rob's helping you with that. Massage Ashley's feet. It's fantastic. I got a new device that I will be bringing in soon. Really? It's for doing stuff just like this. It's called the Flip Minnow. Have you heard of that, Sean? Yeah, dude. That thing is awesome. What is it? It's $170. It looks just like an iPhone. Okay. What does it do? It's the same size as an iPhone. It's this big. Okay. It's a video recorder. And you just go like this and you shoot video and then you press a button on the side and a little USB pops out and you just plug it right into your computer and there's the video. It's really cool. wet with sweat. Ew. This is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. You gotta watch it. Oh my gosh. You gotta watch it. The look on his face. Afro, man. Dude, how about that hair? It's just ridiculous. It's like a skullcap. Rob, what are you gonna do about your hair? What do you mean? Well, you have a plan, I'm guessing. Like, what are you doing? Well, eventually I'd like to just trim up the sides, but I want the top to go long and I want to spike it up again. But my girl says it's not 1990 anymore. Yeah. What are you, Yahoo? Serious? I think that's cool. Rob, come on. Dude, you don't.
We tell him this all the time. He's so handsome, but he wants to ruin it. Just let me do the Spike thing. It's going to look awesome. He wants to do dreadlocks. He's going to come in every day and be like, oh, that's so cool. I wish I could do that. We're not going to say that. We're not going to say that, Rob. Every day. So here are the text messages we're getting about Rob and his college days. Oh, no. Rob sounds like Tone Loke in those clips, Mikey. Signed P1, Darren. Yeah, a little bit. This one says, that voice sounds like it's coming from a guy who carries a backpack full of just-in-case supplies. That's a great call. P1 instigator. While you guys are on the topic, do you think you could give some tips on how to start a broadcasting career? Absolutely. So we get emails about this. People will email from time to time and say, hey, listen, I'm interested in a career in radio and what's the deal? I will tell you here on the radio what I tell you when I write you. First of all, it is a lot different in 2008 than it was when I started radio in 1988. In 1988, it was hard to get into radio and it was 50 times easier than it is now. It was hard then.
But the reason that it's hard now is because there's a lot of companies like Clear Channel, the one that we work for, where to save money, they will have disc jockeys from bigger cities put their shows on in the city that you're living in. Jerks. And they'll do that because it's cost effective. Yeah, so one DJ could be on in like 10 different cities. Well, that's nine jobs that have just, you know, disappeared. Exactly. So those nine jobs that you could have had a potential at getting. Thank you, Eddie. You're not going to get anymore. That's right. That's right. So do not go to broadcasting schools. No, not those colleges that you have to pay. Thousands of dollars. That's why I dropped out.
Well, you didn't ever go to one of those, did you? You didn't go to one of those colleges. I was majoring originally in radio, television, and news media. Right, but that's not what... Is that different? That's not what we're talking about. Like what I went to. Did you go to a broadcast college? Yeah, but it was like broadcasting, TV, radio engineering, or sound engineering, so it had everything. Right. But my... What are the, like, I'm trying to think of one of them, like what they're called. Like, I know that there used to be Columbia School of Broadcasting. Right, right. Full Sail. You see the commercials on. Barbizon. Barbizon. Oh, that's different. But I would even go as far as to say as even if you're in a regular college and majoring in radio, television, news, media, which is what I did, isn't really going to get you. I agree with that, too. I disagree with that. Get you through the doors. Skye, why do you disagree? I believe the best way for people to get into radio is to start at, like, a junior. college because the classes are cheap and you get to learn the equipment and coming in the door knowing equipment is a huge start ahead of anybody it doesn't cost you much plus plus when you're going to this college when you're going to this college you get an opportunity to intern and that's your best way in the door junior colleges don't have profit
But at least you learn how to run a board. At least you have equipment to put together. But you can learn that here. You can learn that interning for stations here in this building. So they're going to let an intern play with the board? Absolutely. That was mandatory when I started out interning. I had to learn the board. What about this guy sitting over here in the corner? That's clown school, man. But Sky, that guy didn't spend a dime. In fact, we paid him. I don't know. I think coming in the door, at least having played with the equipment before. But it's not the same equipment. It's better than nothing. But they're teaching you on stuff that you're not going to use. That's why I say I don't like those schools. But if Zeth came in, he wouldn't get a job here. He got a job here because you wanted him to work here. But he could have gotten a job. That's how I did get a job. That's how people get. Well, my suggestion. I say, if you want to get a job in radio, you ask for a board operator position. No experience necessary. This is what they want to know from you. Will you show up here? I disagree. Will you be on time? You're 100% right. I tell people the best way to get into radio is either through an internship or a board op position. And you need to be in school to be an intern. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can do that in high school. Yeah. Well, here's what I say about college.
Think that college is OK. I mean, great. Let me go back. Let me go back. Let me go back. I would say if you feel that you are extraordinarily talented at something and you know that you are gifted and different, then I say go into that field and that career and just plow into it. Now, I'm talking about kind of the arts and I consider radio the arts. I'm not saying. Well, you know what? I think I'm a real talented architect. And so I'm just going to go start. No. Architecting. Yeah, I'm going to go start architecting. I mean, you obviously are going to need some sort of certification for that. But if you are a guitar player or you're a drummer or you're whatever, or you feel like you could be a stand-up comic and you know that you're really different than your peers,
And I felt that way when I was in high school. I had a passion and a love for radio. I missed my scene. I don't recommend this for seniors in high school, but I missed my senior year because I was going up the Alex Bennett show in San Francisco every morning to watch that show. They allowed a live studio audience that radio show. And so I had a passion for it from the time I was a kid. And so at 18 years old. I was board-opping for the first time, no experience necessary, and I was board-opping at a radio station, which provided me an in to the radio station so that I could make demos to give to the program director and say, I'd like to be on the radio. What do you think? Now, there's a million ways to skin a cat. I'm not saying this is the only way that you can go about it. Ashley didn't do it that way. Ashley was, I believe, an intern, right? Yes. And internships are great. And promotions. That's great. It's all about getting your foot in the door. Get in the door. You've got to get in the door because that's how you have opportunities that come about. Jobs open all the time in this industry. You've just got to be around and be in the right position. And here's the other thing. You're not going to make any dough. Not at first. For sure not. You're not going to make any dough in radio.
It's the truth. I interned for a year. You're so poor you can't afford to talk. I interned for a year. Three semesters for free. And I was working 35 hours a week for free for the station. I started interning at 18. I didn't get my first paying gig until 22. It's not an easy career to get into. And then you get hired and you're getting paid minimum wage for a couple years. And then maybe you get up for another one. That is true. It's not easy. It's not easy. It shouldn't be about the money. Let's just put it that way. Yeah. If you're going into radio. Boy, let me tell you, no truer words could be said. If you're interested in a career in broadcasting, don't say to yourself, I want to be in a radio because I want to make good money. Let me tell you, you're not gonna. You're not going to. Skrill. Quick time out. Unless you're really talented. Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. Todd wrote me an email. Tell everybody what you wrote me in the email. Mikey, I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Cunningham pillow top over at Sleep Train two weeks ago, and it was just an amazing experience. The salesperson gave me 10% off before he even knew I was in there for the Mikey show. And then I used the Ace card and said, oh, Mikey told me to come in, and I got an additional 10. So all in all, I saved 20% on the mattress. And I bought it at Mission Valley at 11 o'clock. They had it delivered and installed in Chula Vista by 2.30 on the same day. That's rad. And what's even more amazing, since it was a Cunningham pillow top, personally delivered by Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber. It was just an amazing experience. That's awesome. Hey, how do you like sleeping on it? It's amazing. I've never had any problems sleeping before, but with the new mattress, it's even better. It's completely amazing. I would recommend Sleep Train to all the P1s out there. And Richie Cunningham and Patsy Weber delivered it.
Absolutely. You can definitely meet Richie and Potsy if you get the Cunningham pillow top. There you go. That's beautiful. Hey, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you for calling. Thanks, Mikey. We'll see you. Now more of the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. The show members refer to me as Memento because I can't remember anything. Eddie. I feel like I'm a responsible guy. Sky. I am a social eater. Sean. I like it when the Indian dude at the convenience store calls me boss. Boston Rob. I have a claim to be a genius. And Ashley. I can't even imagine my life without water. On a rock 105.3. He sings good. Hey, welcome back. It's a Mikey show at 943. A surfer in Del Mar yesterday found more than 70 pounds of weed on the beach. Tiger Woods is in town. He played a practice round at a Torrey South yesterday. Here is Rob's note to me about what he did yesterday. Let's see what Rob was up to yesterday. He says, after work I had to go get x-rays of my face and teeth for my surgery next week.
I got lost in Hotel Circle for about 30 minutes. Wait, what? There are apparently two exits that say Hotel Circle off the 8 West. Yeah, north and south. Didn't know that. Wait, what? It says. No, it doesn't. But it does. Not if you're not paying attention, it doesn't. That's a fact. Also, none of the buildings over there are clearly labeled with numbers, so I had to pull into each parking lot and go in and ask where the heck I was. Okay. Oh, no. I thought only Skye got lost in circles. Skye just shot the camera a look. No, I'm not shooting the camera a look because he was messing with me earlier, so I've cut him off from camera privileges today. He doesn't get a look at this. What a punishment. I've been cut off from camera privileges. That is what I said, Sean. Thank you. Wow. This is awkward. Rob goes on to say that Hotel Circle is a black hole that Magellan couldn't find his way out of. Rob, it's not that difficult. It is. He says, I finally made it to my appointment and had no idea that I needed money to get x-rays done. Insurance covered everything. That was a problem, he says. Just a little bit. He says, the lady said that it would be $80 and he told her that he had $20. Will you take $20? That's bada. She says to him, she says,
That's fine. Give me what you have and we'll bill you for the rest of it later. And he says that he then gave her a fake address. No, he had to further explain to her with people standing around that actually know that the $20 is for him to make it till the 15th. So she thought I meant I only had 20 in my pocket. I'm like, yeah, for, you know, another week and a half. Yeah. He says it was really fun having people hear that. And ask me about it after. Can we help you, young man? He says, by the way, June Gloom sucks. I agree with that. I don't like the clouds and the rain and all that stuff. I don't want it. Oh, I like it. You do? Well, it mixes it up. That's what I'm saying. Well said. So we'll get like a week of sun and then we'll get a couple days of like overcast and rainy and then more sun. You like the variety. I do. Go to New England. I just say, give me sunshine. It's the summertime already. It's the summertime. Come on. Enough of this stuff. We don't need clouds and rain. Not in my birthday month. Rain, rain, go away. Yeah, it makes it nice to work out in the yard. To work out in the clouds and the drizzle? No.
Because you're getting all hot and sweaty out there. And it's like, ooh, a nice breeze. A little drizzle. Ashley says she's been watching old movies lately. Says, watched My Fair Lady over the weekend. Oh, my gosh. It was so good. Watched one yesterday. Don't even know what it was called. And it was in a different language and in black and white. Yeah. All I know is it was a love story and I did laundry and then fell asleep watching it. Yeah. I just decided to keep it on and watch it. It sounds so good. I'm getting into old movies. It's a completely different. type of movie than the movies that we watch today. Yeah, that's true. Wow, really? And I didn't know even that this channel existed that plays these old movies, and then I turned it back on yesterday. It was on the same channel from me watching My Fair Lady. It's called the Old Movie Channel. It's really good. I don't even know. Probably Turner Classics. Or AMC. It's interesting, though. It really is. I can't watch movies in black and white. I will not.
Are you kidding? I refuse to. That's a good clip. Let's save that. All right. It's a good personality thing to know about Sky. I refuse to. That's ridiculous. Why, Sky? There's no color. You know, why am I going to ask you why? My wife is the same way. Oh. My wife's the same way. What's the big deal? My wife doesn't want to see movies that were made in, like, the early 80s. To her, that's so, like, old and unrelatable and, like, weird. Yeah, yeah. She's like, that's going to be dumb. So what about Schindler's List? That's blocking me. You all right with that? No, no, I hate the Jews. Yes, can't do that. Totally different reasons. Totally. It has nothing to do with black and white. Yes, it's just not a fan of the Jews. See, I love money, so do they. So we fight about it. Well, I prefer a movie that's all green. Yes, that'd be awesome. That'd be really wonderful. I would love it. Like Richard Pryor in Brewster's Millions. That's a great movie. Two birds with one stone, Mike. My favorite film of all time, Martin Scorsese's The Color of Money. Never seen it, but I love the title. I feast on it. So you would watch it? Well, I did watch it because it was such a big deal, but I don't think I'd care to see it again. Really? Yeah.
Interesting. Because of the black and white? The black and white. Yeah. Well, and it's depressing. It's a little depressing. It's a little bit of a downer. Wow. Yeah, Rebecca's the same way. She won't watch black and white movies, and she didn't want to watch movies. She didn't want to see Jaws. In fact, I don't think she still hasn't seen it, and she doesn't want to see it because it's, quote, old. No, no. I love Rebecca. That's what she says. It's old. What about The Godfather? She finally saw The Godfather when we were in Dallas, and she liked it. She really did like it. That's older than Jaws. You know, I actually think that she was just saying that. Honestly, I think she was just saying that she, I don't think she actually did. I think she was turned off by the fact that it looked old. So we got some pretty good, you know, you guys telling, every day the crew sends me an email and let me know what happened yesterday. And they're pretty good. Sean's, Sean's takes a cake. Oh, gosh. Did he go to P.F. Chang's again? Nope. Cream bread. Nope. Bathroom experience. Oh, gosh. It says, Mike, I was in the single bathroom here at the radio station, and yes, I was dropping the kids off at the pool. When someone... It's important to the story, Mike. I'm sure it's not. When someone... Ew! Someone kept knocking. Ew! Okay, so you guys have this visual image, okay? It's a single bathroom, meaning that only one person can be in there. It's not a big bathroom with a bunch of stalls. Right. And so there he is. Close off.
Clothes off. Yes. Because he removes his clothing. Yeah. And he says that someone kept knocking, literally knocking on the door. I was so annoyed. You don't say Occupido or anything? Sean doesn't do that. Sean refuses to let people know that he's there. It's locked. It's locked. Not only that, the deadbolt on it, it has this little thing on the outside that when you turn it. A little occupied thing comes up, little letters, you know, like red letters, occupied. I'm in here. So what's the purpose of knocking then? That's what he is. I get it. Yeah, I get it. He's like, why are you knocking? Of course I'm here. It says on the door. Yeah, and I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of revealing my identity. I get that. By saying occupied, you know. Occupied. Occupied. We get it. Occupied, you know, like it says on the door. Well, true. So he says, I was so annoyed. Then I looked over at the sink and someone had left their car keys on the sink. Okay, well, that makes sense. I knew I was not getting out of this without this person getting into the bathroom and experiencing my stuff. I mean, it's embarrassing, dude. Yeah. So I opened.
The door a crack and threw the keys out. No, you didn't. Do you appreciate that? Yeah. Why was that necessary? Well, if I'm the key person, I don't want to go in and experience what Sean has made. No. Or what anyone would make. Anyone, really. So I do appreciate them saving me that experience. But Eddie, couldn't the person just sort of... Wait until they came out, you know? Like, is it going to go away? Well, no. How long do I got to wait? Sean was in the middle of something. I know, but that's so weird. It is weird. I'll give you that, but I appreciate it. Rather than Eddie's doing the fan in front of the nose right now. Okay. You know Sean. I do. Thank you. Did you hear Rob's lovely bathroom story from yesterday? No. Can you put that in the email?
Oh, yeah. I came in here and told you guys during the break. Well, you know Mike is, you know, in his computer world. What? Tell him, Rob. Well, middle break, had to go wicked bad, and I was doing a bunch of things, so I sprinted in there. Which one? Which bathroom? These personal ones right over here. I hate those. Oh, yeah. I'm filthy. I prefer them. Eddie does not mind defiling those. Personal bathrooms. Not even a little bit. I applaud you. It's so inconsiderate, though. I mean, somebody's going to go in the person. It's a bathroom. What do you want it to be used for? I want it to be used exclusively for numero uno. Sorry. Nobody uses that rule, so Eddie shouldn't have to either. It is not a urinal. It is a toilet. That is true. Eddie has a point. It is not a urinal. So you should go ahead and blow the bottom out, Mike. You should go in there after Ashley goes in there. That is so not true. Ash would never do that. Really? That is so not true. Ash, you go to the big bathroom, right? I always use that restroom. Thank you. The little one. Okay, but I guess that means that you never make bad stuff here. I'm a good clean girl.
I'd rather move on. You don't do bad things here, do you? Yes, she does. Does she do bad stuff here? Of course she does. Ash, do you really? Like, he knows. No, you don't. Tell me honestly. I do not. I refuse. Do you, Ash? Then what are you doing in there for 20 minutes? I wash my hands. For 20 minutes. Check my hair. You do go in there a long time. You're full of it. You don't do that, right? I don't. I don't want to think of you that well. Skye. What? Do you do that here? I will never. That was the yes with your eyes. That was the yes. Hey, I prefer not to, but sometimes you have to. Nature calls. But I won't use those little ones for that. I will use the big bathroom with the stalls for that. So everybody can enjoy it. Thank you. So back to Rob. So Rob, you went to the personal bathroom. Yep. Okay. Sprinted in there. And usually I lock it behind me. I don't know why it skipped my mind. I just had to go so bad that... You gotta be kidding me. Oh, come on. That I ran in there, kicked the door shut behind me.
Is he out of his mind? Off to the races. But if the door is shut over there, you can see the light on underneath. It's not like... True. I would never open that door but shut. Yeah, when those doors are shut, I don't look... It's a one-person bathroom. Clearly someone's in there. I don't look at the bottom of the door. But if it's shut... But sometimes people are ashamed and they shut it when they leave. No, but they leave it a crack open. I don't know that that has ever happened. That's just the rule over there. If that door's fully shut, it shuts. Give it a minute. Give it a minute. So what happened, Rob? Well, this guy comes barging in, scares the life out of me, so I jump a couple feet and turn at him, and I'm like, hey, hey, full frontal, and I'm kicking my legs like, get out of here. Get out of here. Like a fireman. And he's upset at the guy for walking in. He has no responsibility for not locking the door. But hold on one second. When a door is shut, you at least knock. No, Rob. Yeah, you do. You at least lock. Not knock. The lock is for that.
But sometimes you don't have time to lock. That's crap. I will lock it and then I'll go and put the seat cover down and then I'll double check to make sure I lock it. And then drop a deuce. So anyways, I invited the guy in and said, come have a seat. Our text message number is 35253. If you're a single dad, go to MikeyShow.com. I actually did it yesterday, and I saved $1,000 a year on my car. And I'm young, and I drive a sports car, and I usually get really expensive quotes. Who used to be your insurance? Mercury Insurance. And now who do they set you up with? I'm not absolutely sure, but it's way cheaper. This is a deal. AIS is a brokerage, so they shop you over 30 different companies, and that's what they did for you. Yeah, and they were super nice. This guy was fabulous, and he gave me all his information, and he just made me feel really comfortable, and I was really nervous that I was going to get something really expensive. Did you mention me? Yes, I did. He put that down. Very nice. Thank you so much, Mike. Now all you have to do is you just go into their office, you sign the thing, and you're off and running. Night number one of the Celtics versus the Lakers. The final start tonight. That's right, baby. Here we go. It's going to be totally tubular. That's right. It's very 80s. Very 80s. I can't wait to watch it. Who are you going to root for? Are you for real going to watch it? Yeah, I think I will. If you had to pick a team, who would you root for? Celtics. Really? Yeah. Because of Rob? Because I don't want to root for the Lakers. I don't want to root for Kobe Bryant. There you go. My dad says he doesn't like him anymore. Since the rape trial or before or after? I'm not sure. I just know he said he doesn't like him anymore, and so I just want to do what my dad does. So he's not going to root for the Lakers, so I'll root for the Celtics. You know what I hate? I hate going to my husband's rape trial. You know what I mean? I think we all hate that. No Kobe Bryant rooting. I'll root for the Celtics. Yes, Mike! You can come over if you want. Oh, yeah. Why don't you go over? Want to see my Kobe Bryant slam dunk? No. I don't want to see that. No. I'd rather not see that. You could. Sky has a list. The top ten top-earning American athletes. Tiger Woods, number one. Hold on. We know that. Hold on. We know he's got to be number one. Are we talking about...
With endorsements included or just straight salary earnings from the sport? Salary and endorsements. Tiger. So, yes, Tiger Woods is number one, making over $127 million. Then after that, number two, Jeff Blum. $22 million was his salary and $105 million was his endorsements. They would technically be called earnings. Because he didn't have a salary. Well, go yell at Sports Illustrated. Just letting you know. I don't know what to tell you. Now, he's not technically an athlete anymore, but if it were endorsements, Michael Jordan would probably be on that list. Or is it current athletes? Yeah, well, Michael Jordan's not on this list. He'd probably be current athletes. Tom Brady. No. Oh, Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning is number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine, making over $30 million. You know who's going to be on this list, Mike? A female tennis player. No, but, oh, well, yeah, what's her face? Venus Serena. Oh, that dude? $17 million with salary, $13 million in endorsements. Serena? For who? Peyton Manning. Oh, we need to pass that. Well, you're jumping ahead before I'm giving you the info. Calm down. People want to know. Those race drivers make a ton of dough. They do. Danica Patrick.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. No. Kevin Garnett. Helio Castroneves. Yes, Rob. Kevin Garnett. Did you hear Helio Castroneves? Yes, I did. Kevin Garnett is number eight, making 22. Why is she treating you this way? I will refuse to participate. Why is she treating you this way? No, Eddie, you have to. Maria Sharapova. That doesn't look right. Maria Sharapova. That's a great guess. Matt Wilhelm. All these people make more than Kevin Garnett. What is this list? This may be weird. I don't know. Dice K Matsuzaka. Nothing from Matt Wilhelm. Poppy. Oh. What's going on? A-Rod. Yes, Alex Rodriguez is number seven on the list, making $35 million, $29 million in salaries. What about Big Poppy? Endorses is $6 million. Hey, what about a UFC person? No, they don't make that much. Oh, I know, Kobayashi. Kobayashi, the champion hot dog eater. He's paid in hot dogs.
What about that dude, Martina Navratilova? David Beckham. Beckham's on the list? He owns half the team. Yeah. Andre Augustine. It's American. Yeah, what about Andre Augustine? Oh, that's why. Sky, why don't you be clear with your list? Well, Mike said it. Mike said American athletes. What about one of those racehorses? Seaweed. Seaweed. I like the movie Seaweed. Sarah Dickerson. Ashley just IM me. What about Terry Shivo? That's awesome. I did not do that. That's just a terrible way to try to get that joke in. You've got to screw loose. Yeah, what about... Yes, Shaquille O'Neal. Shaquille O'Neal. Is number six on the list, making $35 million. That's $20 million in salary and $15 million in endorsements. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Jonathan Papelbon. Shut up, Rob. Oh, gosh. Stupid Red Sox. All right. They're the worst. He's getting mad. Loretta Swit. Mark Loretta. I don't know. Mikey Show. Yeah, I got a suggestion for the list. Go ahead.
Brett Favre. LeBron James. LeBron James. Of course. LeBron James is number three, making over $40 million. That's about $12 million in salary and $28 million in endorsements. Matt. He's in the house tonight. Matt. Hey, Matt. Matt. Hey, Matt. Matt. What about Eli? Oh, if he's on there, I'd be really upset if Eli Manning was on there. He's not on there, is he? No. Barry Barnes. I don't know any of this. LT? Sean Merriman. Sean Puffy Combs. One of these people we were just talking about. Sky. Love your mouth. Sky is not on there. No. Listen, I win. And then Sean played funny clips and we laughed. Oh, Jonathan Papelbon. No. Mike Greenwell. Oh, that's annoying. That's just, that's far enough. Kobe Bryant. Yes, Ashley.
Kobe Bryant. That's why he said it. Kobe Bryant made a... That's not why he said it. That's not why he said it. That's not why he said it. She's just unbelievable. Making over $35 million. Disrespectful. $19 million. You got to screw loose. What are you, thick in the head? Shut up. Your ribs are intact. Mikey, shut up. Nice vertebrae. Yeah. Keep the hair coming. What? Trim your nails again. Uh-huh. What? Yeah, yeah. Roll some teeth. Yeah. Keep those tongues flapping. Yep. So you're missing number 10, number 4, and number 2. 10, 4, and 2. Number 1. Larry me, please. Keep it in your face, baby. 10, 4, and 2. Randy Moss. We have 4, 2, and 10, and 7, 8, 9. What? I'm going to beat you. These are good guesses, baby. Stop. Sky almost spewed. I came out of nowhere. Pac-Man Jones. Larry Bird. Tatum O'Neal. She was just in the news. It's garbage. Give me some sports. What sport? T.O. Hockey. Baseball? Not just random ones. Dodgeball. Anybody? Mike. Archery. Anybody? Archery.
Boxers. Boxers. Anybody got Lennox Lee or something? Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Carney Lansford. Carney Wilson. Carney Asada. Manny. Manny? Is that a baseball player? The Nanny Diaries. Take me up. Take. What did you say wrong? Manny Ramirez. Oh, never mind. No Hank Bauer. No Hank Bauer. Michael Phelps. Michael Vick. The dogs from Michael Vick. Mary Lou Retton. Mary Lou Henner. Mary Lou Henner. The shark from Jaws. Rob, if you say that one more time. PV?
Yeah, Peevee. Peevee. Peevee. Peevee. Look on the list and see if it says Peevee. Hoffman. Mikey Show. Mikey, this is David Beckham. Hi, David Beckham. American athletes. Yeah, American, you Brit. I'm not American. Get out of here, you flirt. I'm not American. I'm going to eat some fish and chips. What about May Flayweather? May Fairweather. May Fairweather. It's May Fairweather. It's May Fairweather. Oscar DeLoya. No, but number four is Floyd Mayweather Jr. Oscar DeLoya. It's more money than 40 million. May Fairweather. 20 million in salary and another 20 million in endorsement. This is stupid. You're missing number 10, who is baseball, and number two, who is golf. Don't tell us. Phil Mickelson is number two, making over $62 million, about $9 million in salary and $53 million in endorsements. You're still missing number 10, baseball. Every time. Derek Jeter? Yes, Eddie. Derek Jeter making about $30 million, $22 million in salary, and $8 million is endorsements.
So there's our list, everybody. That was fun. What did Mike just write on that paper? Andre the Giant on the list? Back in the day, Mike, he was. That's right. He would have been on that. He was a high earner. Because of his manager, Lou Albano. Captain that was never his manager. Bobby the Brain Heenan, though. Bobby the Brain Heenan was in his toodleship for a while. His pubelitism. Show us. For a little bit. Why? You're old. Well said. Mikey Show, hello. Yes, hello, hello, yes. Gary Schoenwetter. Ah, it's Gary Schoenwetter. That was the best. It's Gary only now. I didn't even know that. That is awesome. That's crazy, bro. You okay, Eddie? Oh, my God. I understand I'm a topic of conversation quite a bit over there. Get out of here, Moby. Moby. Love that guy. Sharon, this is hysterical. Wow, this is real, too. Sharon Stone's been banned from the Shanghai Film Festival. Wow. International Film Festival. Unbelievable. They were not taking this anymore. No. She actually was there last year and walked the red carpet and was a huge hit with all the fans there, but they have said after her karma, earthquake comment, she is not welcome this year. Yeah.
That meant you're banned. Sky has the full name of the new Transformers movie that is going to be. Talk about it. Transformers 2. What is the movie called? Talk about it. Transformers 2. It's going to be Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen. Ah, I like it. What happens? Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Damal, Tyrese Gibson, they will all be back. And there will be an addition to the cast, Rainn Wilson. Wow. Really? From The Office. I hope he plays Dwight. I wonder if he can play any other character. No, he can't. He was in Juno playing Dwight. Sweet. Which I'm sure was awesome. Carrie Underwood says that she is still friends with and talks to Tony Romo. Holy cow. It's actually his voodoo doll that she talks to as she's stabbing it with little needles. Car keys. Carving her name into the voodoo doll. Take me out!
No, get out of here, Tony. That's Tony Robbins. You're the worst. Thank you very much. Carrie Underwood says that they're still close friends and that they exchange. Still close friends. She doesn't talk like that. We exchange emails. They exchange emails and talk on the phone regularly. I'm sure she's super happy about that. That we're still friends. That's really healthy and moving forward. Good for a new relationship. Tony, I love you still and we can still be friends. And I'm just so happy for you. Your singing voice is really different from your talking voice, Karen. What's up with your singer? He's that hot blonde with you. That's the American Idol. Harry Carey. Harry Carey. Loving to hear Tony Romo sing. I heard you're dating Taylor Hicks. He just dates everybody from American Idol. That's fantastic. How are you doing, Carrie Underwood?
Oh, my God. That was Carrie Underwood. Hi, Carrie. Hi, Carrie. Hi, Carrie. Your name's Carrie. My name's Carrie. What the hell? What's up? My name's Carrie. Yeah. That's crazy. Why do you like, Carrie? I like hot dogs. How about you? Yeah, ask me. Shoot, Carrie. What you got? I was wondering if you were hot dogs. Yeah. Would you eat yourself? I'd smother myself in mustard. I double myself down by Kobayashi. If he's a hot dog, you beat yourself. Yeah, with a little relish. That is so fun. I love you, Carrie Underwood. I love you, Carrie. I love you. Tell Ruben Studdard I said what's up. He's my dog. Oh, my goodness. Me and Ruben are still friends despite the fact that he is of color.
Wow. I better not comment on that because I'm old. That's right. But you're weak. Yeah, that's true. I love you, Carrie. I love you, Carrie Underwood. You're my favorite. Oh, my gosh. If you were a hot dog, you'd eat yourself. I would. I'd gobble myself down. I'd dip myself in water, though, because that's how I could eat my whole body. Oh, my God. This is weird. Hi. Hi. Did you hear Shania got a divorce? No. That is crazy. Oh, my word. When did that happen? Oh, it's devastating. It does not sound like her. Hi. At all. Oh, you hurt my feelings. I'm going to carve my name into the side of your little bitty old butthead.
That would stink. Everyone, are you on drugs? Oh my gosh, it's so funny. If you use a hot dog, you'd eat yourself. We've covered that character. If you talk to my boyfriend, Tony Romo, tell him I said hi. He's a great singer. You want to hear him? Yeah, can I hear him sing? Oh my goodness, I love when you play that. All right, I got to go, you guys. Keep talking to Carrie Underwood. Keep it filthy. I love you too, Carrie Underwood. That was Harry Carey and Carrie Underwood talking to one another. That was the weirdest thing.
I think so. That we've ever done on this show. Just then and there. Where did... Uh-oh. Carrie hung up the phone, I guess. Oh, Carrie. Wow. Oh, my gosh, my... That was so weird. Oh, my gosh. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Okay, who's the random guy that keeps jumping? Matt. Wait. Damon. Damon.
It's going to be a Clint Eastwood film about the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Oh, you've got to be kidding. Matt Damon will play the team captain of South Africa. Wait, wait, wait. What? He will play the South African team captain for the rugby team. Okay. And then Morgan Freeman will play Nelson. Yeah. I'm the casting director. Cool. Jamie. Jamie. Oh, that was a good one, Eddie. That felt good. Really good. Ethan Hawke and his former... Ethan Hawke. Ethan Hawke. Don't do that properly, honey. Ethan Hawke. Him and his former nanny have applied for a marriage license. Uma Thurman. She was the nanny for Ethan and Uma's children. They were married. And now she's knocked up and marrying Ethan Hawke. James Cromwell. What? Shia LaBeouf. What?

We worked it out. We worked it out, dog. That was fun. We worked it out. Let's see. Yeah, we've done every story. My laugh tank is empty. Save that clip. Oh my gosh. Hey, podcast that, Ash. I want to hear it later. I want to hear Carrie Underwood calling in. Mikey Show. Hey, I got a question for you guys. What does Zip do on the show? I don't know. I don't know either, dude.
Constantly tells us how he should be under contract. Yeah, how little money he made. How he doesn't have any benefits. How does he have endorsements? So there's no appearances. Oh, he's better than Budweiser. Yes. Well, that is true. When he did the game, I mean, he was good. Apprentice. The game. What happened? He fell off. What happened, Zeth? I'm just repeating what he said. The guy wanted to know. I really want to know. I don't know. Zeth is looking, right now Zeth is looking at the camera like Jim from The Office. Google it. What happened? Yes, Google and you'll find out. He's just shy. That's a deal. Mikey Show, hello. Jerry's shy, though. Okay, that was Ashley calling in. Ashley? That was Ashley calling in. Hang up on yourself. I did not. Mikey Show. Hello? Leviathan. Sorry? P1 Leviathan. What's up, Leviathan?
Tom Hank. People really enjoy saying the names. Yes. As the guy from Team America. Mikey, show last call. Bring us home. Yeah, I just wanted to know about the Transformers movie when that actually came out. Sky? Well, it hasn't come out yet. It came out like last week? They actually just started filming for it on Monday. So it'll be out Friday. Okay. Thank you very much. This time they're just playing with the toys. That's right. For two straight hours. The lovely and talented Missy is up next. Where's the little cheat that tells me what she's got? Lost and found today. You know what? If I was under contract, maybe that'd be... Songs you haven't heard in a really long time. Is that what it is? Lost and found. Lost and found, baby! Why don't we come back and do this again tomorrow morning? We'll do a Friday version. It'll be really fun. Have a great rest of your day. We'll see you tomorrow morning at 530. The Mikey Show's out late. Love your mouth.
