Sky spiraled over her U.S. Open hot-dog shift while Mikey and the crew argued that she was making the trip needlessly difficult, and Boston Rob separately described a brutal three-hour wisdom-tooth extraction. Sean's germophobia drove him to scream at a dirty 7-Eleven microwave and clean it himself, while Eddie's Team Awesome beat Chantel's Team Sass in sudden death after a chaotic, disputed trivia game. In the Father's Day Single Dad Setup, Eric and his ten-year-old son Stone questioned Jennifer, Ruth, and Julie about commitment, parenting, money, and drugs before Stone chose Ruth for his father's date. Dr. Drew's comments about Tom Cruise sparked an argument over amateur diagnosis, and Vern Troyer discussed becoming Mini-Me, befriending Colin Farrell, and ending a marriage after five days. The hosts also joked through movie previews, tornado-chaser audio, and a voluntary tasing before Mikey closed seriously with his story of alcoholism, faith, and recovery resources.
What happened, in order
Sky's Volunteer Panic
Sky spiraled over parking, shuttles, strangers, directions, and selling hot dogs at the U.S. Open while rejecting the crew's simple GPS solutions.
Rob's Dental Nightmare
Boston Rob described a three-hour extraction of two impacted wisdom teeth during which the anesthetic repeatedly wore off and he heard a tooth crack inside his jaw.
The 7-Eleven Microwave
Germaphobic Sean screamed at the sight of a filthy 7-Eleven microwave at 3:30 a.m., frightened the clerk, and then cleaned the appliance himself.
Dr. Drew vs. Tom Cruise
The crew unpacked Dr. Drew's apology after Tom Cruise's lawyer attacked him for linking Cruise's Scientology involvement to possible childhood neglect.
Battle of the Sexes
Eddie's Team Awesome survived disputed rulings, Sean's theatrical delays, and Sky's missed car question before Eddie won sudden death by answering that Chinese laborers built many early U.S. railways.
Stone Picks Ruth
Single father Eric and his ten-year-old son Stone interviewed Jennifer, Ruth, and Julie, and Stone ultimately chose fellow parent Ruth for Eric's date.
Vern Troyer Opens Up
Vern Troyer explained landing Mini-Me, described his friendship with Colin Farrell, and declined to reveal what ended his marriage after only five days.
Hulk and Happening
The hosts debated whether The Incredible Hulk looked too cartoonish and whether the mysterious threat in The Happening would turn out to be global warming.
Inside the Tornado
After playing frantic audio from storm chasers who said a tornado passed over them, several hosts argued that the recording sounded staged in a basement.
The Taser Booth
A CNN producer volunteered to take a five-second taser hit at a trade show, prompting the crew to marvel at both the voltage and his willingness.
Mikey's Testimony
Mikey recounted blacking out from alcoholism, living with deep insecurity, finding hope through Jesus Christ, and directing struggling listeners toward help resources.

So let's say that today I came in here and there is a quiz in front of me. And the quiz says, the first question is, how prepared are you? And it has multiple choice answers, right? And it's like, are you A, not very prepared or not prepared at all? B, not very prepared. C, pretty prepared. Or D, overprepared. Okay. I would check B, not very prepared. What? Let me explain. Let me explain. Question number two says, how prepared has your producer got you? A, not prepared. B, not very prepared. C, very prepared. D, over prepared. I would put E, so much prepared, I can't even believe it. And I am like, I've highlighted one thing. But I'll tell you this. Today is going to be probably one of our best shows ever. Wow. I can almost guarantee it. Is it the ponytail? It is your ponytail. Thank you, Mike. It is. Eddie, is that a ponytail? Would you call that a ponytail? Let me explain. I thought that the definition of a ponytail was that the tie, the point at which the hair is bound,
occurs directly behind the head. That's what I thought a ponytail was, but I can be corrected on this. What I see going on with Sky is more of a bam, bam, bam, bam. You know what I mean? It's on the top more. It's more up here on the top. Mike, it's kind of an updo, you know? It's an updo. Yeah. Wow, Mike. It's an updo. It's an uptail. That's right. Yeah, an uptail. But I'm learning. This is all ridiculous. Maybe it is a ponytail. Either way, I disagree. Well, for me, the tail of a pony isn't on his back. It's on his trunk. Regardless of where it is on your head, it's a ponytail. Really? Yes. So in the movie Napoleon Dynamite, that girl had a ponytail? She had a side ponytail. She had a side ponytail. Yeah. Gotcha. I got it. So you've got an up ponytail. Yes, she does. And now it makes sense. Well, no. I mean, you're classifying the type of ponytail, right? All right, yes. She has an up ponytail. So right. Oh, no. Eddie's giving a thumbs down. Eddie's giving a thumbs down. From the moment he walked in, he was telling me how horrendous I look and can I please take it down. He didn't say that. No, he never said that. No, he didn't. Multiple times. He said you look horrendous. Well, that was the exact word. But that's what I meant. He never said that. But she doesn't. She looks great. I like sky like I like my sky. Her hair's got to be down and curly and normal. When she does variations to it,
Throws me off. It's going to be a weird day. Why did she do this? Why did she do the... Because she's got to have her hair back for the U.S. Open today. For health code reasons. Oh, really? Yes, you have to have your hair back. But she's not there right now, Mike. That's the deal, too. Yeah, she's not there. She's here. But I'm not going to have time to get ready in between. I've got to bolt out of here and get up to toy and find. Oh, yeah, that ponytail, it takes so long. Well, it does the way I do it. It's really weird. We kind of think of Sky as our radio wife. And so when we come in here, sometimes we feel that way. Like, I feel the same way. I'm like, well, radio, babe. You're not going to that thing till later. You could put that sucker down. And it's giving her a headache, Mike. Giving her a headache? Yeah, take that off. Take it off. For you. For you. Stop it. For you. Stop it. For your health. Whatever. For your health. All day yesterday. Eddie watched Brule's Rolls all day. Oh, yes. Yeah. Me, Seth, and Mike sat there and watched Tim and Eric's stuff for like 45 minutes. So great. Did you watch Petite Feet? Yes. Brilliant. Okay. Okay, so let's introduce everybody.
I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 38 years old. I'm really glad for the weekend. This is not a three-day weekend, is it? No. Oh, man, I thought you would surprise me right now. Wouldn't that be cool? And be like, no, dude, it's a four-day weekend. Back on Wednesday. Just Father's Day. Yeah, Father's Day on Sunday. So, yes, this is what I can tell you about me. I'm the host of the show. My name's Mikey. I was so stoked yesterday. Check this out, guys. This is a video recorder. We should do stuff with a show for this every day. Oh, is that the little flip? It's a video recorder. Wow. It weighs the amount of three credit cards. It's so light. That's cool. Yeah, man. It's really cool. And after you're done taping stuff on it, you just plug it into your computer, and it loads right in. I got excited there. Isn't that cool? So, yeah, we could be taping stuff. Pretty neat.
Very cool. Let's see. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 35 years of age and stands at six feet tall. And he's married. He's got a beautiful wife named Debra. And one of these days, he wants to have little kids running around. Would you prefer a boy over a girl? Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. So either way, he's good to go. You watched the U.S. Open yesterday? I watched a little bit of it. Did you? Yeah. I thought it was really compelling. It's actually really compelling to watch because guys are all on the hook for themselves. The only thing I didn't like was the two leaders, the two early leaders are just unknown guys. So that kind of... It doesn't make it that exciting. But they'll fall by the wayside today. Yeah, that's my next question for you. What do you think will happen today? What do you think will go on while Skye's out there selling hot dogs? Well, she'll probably distract a lot of people. That's my plan. Very loud voice. Yes, she does. And you have to be quiet out there. You realize that, right? Oh, they've instructed me that there will be no screaming allowed in the tent. My little voice. Well, for you, no talking.
Did it bother you when they gave you that instruction? Because you said that when your husband says that, it bothers you. Yeah, no. Well, because he's speaking directly to me. Right. But they were speaking to everyone. To a group of people. I got you. But it was for your benefit. No, they're not familiar with my speaking. If your husband wanted to do it right, he would stand up at the restaurant that you're at and say, attention, everyone. I just would like to ask everyone here in the restaurant if they could use their inside voice. Just everyone here. And you would be confused. Like, why is he telling everybody that? But then you would be like, but. I would prefer that. I'm amongst everyone. I would prefer that. Today is, yeah, so it's the U.S. Open. And you think that Phil will get it back together today? He actually had a nice back nine. He came back, and he's at even par now. You know, he was that three over on the turn. Yeah. And Tiger was looking good at the turn, and then he kind of fell apart in the back nine. Does that mean at the turn? Does that mean after you finish the first nine holes? First nine holes, yep. Do they call that the turn? I thought it was the river. Yeah, I thought it was the river, the fourth card. It's not called the flop? No, it's not the flop either. There's a flop shot. Oh, there you go. Now, that's when you take your shirt off if you're a heavy guy. No, that is not what that is. No, that's the flap. The flap shot. But I will be giving updates all morning long. There you go. There you go.
Skye is our volunteer hot dog salesperson. I'm having a lot of anxiety. I had a tough time sleeping last night. Come on. Lots of anxiety. I've been thinking about you lately. Lots of anxiety. Over a hot dog? I have to park in a place I've never been. Qualcomm. I have to take a shuttle bus. Qualcomm? Strangers. Skye, tell us the story. What are you doing? What? I have to park in the volunteer parking lot at the polo fields in Del Mar. That's got to be making her nervous, man. I had to MapQuest it last night. She has it, Mike. She has a GPS, but won't use it. That's so upsetting to me. Man, I felt stuff inside me happen right now. How do you feel about that? That's called anger, Mike. Yeah, it's hurt, sadness, or fear. Which one am I dealing with? Straight pistol. Hurt? Am I hurt? I'm not hurt that she doesn't do that. I'm sad. That is what it is. I'm sad because I know my friend can get anywhere in America she wants. Only a GPS and won't use it because she doesn't like it. Doesn't like what? Well, my street isn't on there, and so I got to, like, download and upgrade. You don't need your street on there to go to the polo fields. Well, but, like, because my house is normally my starting location. Sky, it's perfect. I got the perfect solution for you. No, I tried it.
I tried it, I tried it, and it got me lost. He hasn't even said it yet. What did you try? We tried to just put your house in. That wasn't what I was going to suggest. Don't put your house. Don't put your house. Well, where do I start from? I would start from the closest street to your house that's been there forever. Closest intersection. I don't care for that. What do you mean? What do you mean you don't care for that? Because you can't get from that intersection to your house. I'm already over it. I'm already over it. It's put back in the box. I'm over it. It's in the box? It's in the box. Can you believe it? No, that hurts so bad. Oh, don't do that, please. I'm signing off. Oh, don't sign off, Sean. You've got to help with this. I mean, she can go. This isn't the topic at hand. It is. It is not. Work is a starting point. She could go from here to the polo grounds. But she doesn't even have it because it's in the box. And Sky, it'll tell you turn by turn so easily. There's no map questing. You don't even have to map quest anymore. You don't have to. You don't have to. It took her forever to get that map quest going. Did Sean turn the picture of her on? I've already had to log off twice this morning. She hates when he changes the cameras around. Oh, evil ass. This is something that people have to understand. No, no, no. I promise you. I got anxiety. Sean's being a jerk. And he says I look horrendous. I think you look beautiful. And this is going to be a good day. I promise you. In fact.
It's my oath to you. Good day today. You're going to have fun. No doubt in my mind. So I have to go to the polo fields and I have to take a shuttle to Torrey Pines with a bunch of strangers. Then I have to find my way to where I'm working. Why? Why? Why haven't they given you very clear directions to where you need to go? Well, they will give me directions when I check in at the volunteer tent where the shuttle drops me off. But my mom has emailed me multiple times to let me know that their directions are bogus and you'll get lost. So she's given me her own directions and also included a picture of what it looks like when you're walking there. So what are you worried about then? Perfect. And then when I get there, I'm going to have to talk to strangers. Can you say it's on the fifth hole? Yeah. Then just follow the holes. It goes one, two, three, four, five. Is that a circle? It's very much like a circle. Well, but I'm sure there's a faster route instead of following all the holes. Wait, you can't walk on the fairway, guy. I'm not a guy. What are you talking about? So you're saying right when I walk in, it's going to be hole one. No.
There's like, there's meandering pathways that I need to take. And I need to walk behind the bleachers to go into some side entrance. She wants it to be difficult. You can't make it not difficult. And then I got to work with strangers for like six hours. But you volunteer. I know. Yeah, maybe you shouldn't volunteer. That's what my husband was telling me yesterday. I despise volunteer work. No, I was telling him no. Any sort of charity work, really. I said I like to help. Mike, did you hear? I have to take public transportation. Shut up. Listen, I like to help people, but I prefer doing it while sleeping. No, I like to help people, but I like to be surrounded by people I know. I've begun something new called sleeping for hunger. Shut up. Nap for kids. Yes, nap for kids. You know, there are a lot of children in this country that don't get enough naps. And so I'm asking you, America, to join me in napping for them. Let's all go on a nap strike. Donate a dollar for every minute I nap. So far, this year, I've raised $957,000.
I gave it to sleep last night. What was the nervous part, Sky? Not getting lost? Everything. I'm having dreams about it. I think that the cats are taking my parking pass and ripping it to shreds. And then I won't be able to get in the lot. And then I'm getting lost. And then I don't know how to work the cash register. Can you guys imagine? Oh, it's exhausting being me. Well, but I think that the kind of cool part is that her husband, Bunny Boo, he's not even aware of it. He doesn't hear any of that. Or does he? Well, every last detail. Oh, poor guy. Oh, no. He told me yesterday that I'm too special to volunteer. You are kind of special needs in that way. No, I don't think he meant that. What? Did he mean? He gets mad that I volunteer. But what does he mean you're too special to volunteer? That I have too many talents to be wasting my time volunteering. Are you sure that's what he meant? Or you have special needs and you shouldn't be volunteering. And it made me laugh when he said that. You have special talents that would not allow you to help others is what he meant?
Yeah, that why am I wasting my time helping other people? I would have loved for you to have said, you know, that's kind of a good point, but what would you suggest? Like, what would my talents, you know, be fit for? Right. And he could be like, you know, well, you know, something. Something. Something. I want to hear it. Yeah. Oh, that's good. I can't handle it. Fifth hole today. Sky Hebrew Nationals. I'm not allowed to eat ice cream either. Why? We've been told that we get a meal, but we're not allowed to have alcohol or ice cream. The ice cream is too valuable to waste on volunteers. Yes. No ice cream for me. Oh, my. There was 100,000 people out there yesterday. That's what they said on the radio. I heard it. In one day? That's what they said. I thought it was weird, too. I thought it was over the three-day period. Yeah, that's what it is. I don't know. The person I was listening to. No. Clown. It was kind of a clown. It wasn't this radio station. No way. It wasn't. I was listening to a different station because I wanted to, you know, hear some, like, bebops. Yeah. So I was listening to it, and there's a lady. Oh, well, there you go. And she was like, 100,000 people out there today. It's just amazing. There's 4 million out there. They're estimating the crowds at 4 million people.
Let's see. Shawnee, oh boy. He's our sound effects guy. He is in the Bay Area. We see him on a camera, a little camera monitor, a little computer monitor. We see his smiling face and he says hello. And there he is. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 and she is, her name is Rio and she dances on the sand. Weird, I don't like it. Weird headphones. What are they? Well, I forgot mine today. Sprayed up bangs like 1986. Seriously. Sprayed up bangs like 1986. Thank you. She's retro. Stop it with the pen in the nose. What's up? All right. Oh, man. Headphones say these are LaDonna's from Kogo. How do you forget your headphones? I know, right? In three and a half years, I'm like, I went to my honey's house last night and I forgot him. That must be it. You forgot to take him with you.
Bring them to his house. That's right. There's Ashley. She's wearing purple today. And how are you feeling, Ash? Good. Yeah? Going on with you? Not really. You and Sky, I saw you guys on your walk yesterday. Oh, yeah. Our walk and talk. Yeah, we started our weekly walk. So fun. Their walk and talk. Dude, they come back into the office and Ashley looks like she just got out of the swimming pool. I'm not joking. She was so sweaty. A little bit sweaty. It was horrendous. It was kind of warm out. It was a wonderful walk and we will be doing this on a weekly basis. Once a week. Once a week at least. Wear a wetsuit next time. Wear a wetsuit. Seriously. A chamois wetsuit. I was so sweaty. Just wear a sponge. It was great. Boston Rob's back. Missed you. Hi. How you doing, buddy? I'm all right. Uh-oh, he is on a lot of work. Oh, wow. That doesn't sound like him. Not enough, man. No. I am whipped, and I love it. That's right. That's what I used to sound like. Pinot Noir. Rob had, well, basically facial surgery. I mean, if you really think about it. They went into his mouth, and they did dental surgery. Rob, what?
Did they do? They took out my bottom two wisdom teeth. And the surgery went a little longer than expected. How long? Well, it went three hours. Oh, my goodness. Three hours. They had a lot of trouble. No way, Jose. Is this an Ensenada? Where did you get this done? It hurts. My voice is so low with this cold. I felt bad. I kept everyone after late at the place. I didn't get out until after 7 p.m. I went in at 4. I will never be awake for something like that again. The Novocaine or Lidocaine kept wearing off. A majority of that time, I was feeling it. Rob, I don't understand. The first time it wore off.
Why wasn't the guy doing the surgery like, you know what? We got to do something different. This is wearing off on you. They kept shooting me up. They shot me up like 10 times. No way. I was wondering why they didn't put you out. Because when I had like four taken out, they just put me out. Me too. I will never do that away. Dude, it felt like I was in hostile. Question. Question. Go ahead. When you guys had it done, because your experience was much better because they put you guys out. Do they give you like, okay, when I got my surgery done, I always imagined that they were going to give me an IV like in my arm, you know, like where my arm bends and that they were going to give me an IV and it was going to put me out, you know. But what I recall is that the IV actually went in the top of my hand and that's where the medicine went, the anesthesia went in that put me out. When you guys had yours done, how did they put you out? And was it that kind of anesthesia? Yeah, it was general anesthetic, and it was gas. It was gas. They put a mask on your face? Yeah, that was mine, too. They put the mask on, count backwards from 20. I remember getting to about 17. Oh, you guys all go put on? I didn't. You didn't, Ash? Did it hurt? No, I remember being like, this is fun. What did they do to you? They gave me...
No, no, no. What procedure were you having done? My wisdom teeth. I got the same exact thing that Rob got, and I stayed awake for it, but mine was not three hours. Like, it was maybe, like, maybe an hour, if that. Were they impacted? Uh-uh. Yeah, Rob's were impacted. What does that even mean? It's like, my teeth usually go up and down, you know? Yeah? The wisdom teeth go, uh, grow into the root of the other one. Oh. And they told me, you know, it could be from 10 minutes to an hour. And they were like, an hour tops. That's why I went in at four, because it closed at five. About five past seven, I walked out of there looking like I got in a UFC fight. I mean, I was beat up, dude. And the worst part of it was, is anybody ever hear a bone? crunch and crack. See, that's the worst. When the first, and it was on the first one. The last one, I would have been okay because I would have been like, eh, that's it. The first one, you just, you know, they're sawn away. They had to drill the bone in my jaw away to get at the teeth. No way. So to get it, they have to drill away all the bone around my tooth. That's why I got this swelling. Daddy's shaking his head. No way. No way.
They had to split the tooth in half because it was so gnarled in there that they didn't expect it. And I guess when they were pulling out one half, it cracked in half. So all you hear is this bone-crunching sound echoing through my head. Yeah. And, I mean, that noise is so traumatizing. Awful, sure. I'll never forget that. So do you have two giant holes in your mouth right now? I got... Two sutras on each side. Okay, so they stitch it. Yeah. And then, what do they instruct you? Okay. That was the one thing I was like, should I go in today? Because laughing really hard. Because they're funny in it. It's a funny environment. I asked the doctor, what about funny environments? Avoid funny environments. So, Rob, you have a... These things are stitched up. Do the stitches dissolve or do they got to take them out? Nah, they had to put something different. It's like sutures. I don't know what that is. I got to get them taken out next Thursday. Mike, I don't have stitches. I have sutures. It's the same thing, Rob. They couldn't put the stuff that dissolves. It's silk. I was like, ooh, you went all fancy on me. Can you make me a pillow with it? Milan. Yeah.
Oh, wow, Rob. That's a nightmare. Yeah. And then there is Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr. Esquire. There he is. He did a pretty good job filling in for you, too, Robbie. Yep. You'd be proud of the kid. No. P1 Paparazzi is on the line. Uh-oh, Eddie's head straight back, eyes roll. Hello. Are you there, Paparazzi? Yes, I am. What can I do for you? I got two things. One is, I'm trying to figure out what the details of the sky and the GPS. You spent maybe half a minute looking at it. GPS, you don't have to put a starting location. Your starting location is where your car is. How about that? You don't even have to put in a starting location. Can you not yell at me? Why are you yelling at me? It asked for a start location. I tried to put my address in there. It wasn't there. And then I ended up getting lost everywhere following the stupid GPS. And then I said, no, thank you. You got lost everywhere. Yes, I went everywhere and got lost. The second thing is, did you guys hear about Ryan Seacrest supposedly having a show here? No, I didn't, but I appreciate you advertising it. Seriously? This guy is...
Get him off. Are you kidding me? It's the worst. Eddie doesn't need this today. It's all right. It's all right. I know. Okay, Eddie. He doesn't need this name, right? Forever. You've got 900,000 people going, really? I'd like to hear that. Where can I find that? That sounds very interesting. I didn't know that. Listen, that was an advertisement. I'm going to go try to find it. What is the frequency? I'll look around. I heard Jeff and Jerry are giving away a million dollars. Hey, guys, did you hear about any truth to that? Hey, Mikey, did you know that DSC have been extraordinarily funny lately? Really good shows. Really great show. They've added a new character. That chainsaw's on fire over there. AJ will be delivering Angelina Jolie's twins this morning. Actually, I think it's happening now. Gotta go. Three listeners in the studio with us today. Not for long. They're like, guys, do you mind if we leave the studio to go listen to Ryan Seacrest? We have P1 Abby Lou. We have P1 and...
Paparazzi, I'm joking. You don't have to write me an email, brother. I know that's coming. I'm just messing around, dude. I'm having a good time with you. Well, some of us are. I just know that the email, it's all right. It's all good. It's all good. We're still bros. We're still roommates. Make sure you take that trash on Thursday, bro. I didn't tell you guys, but paparazzi, yeah, he's moved in. He's living in the house. He will show up. I'm not kidding. I was kidding, paparazzi, about that. I didn't mean that you were really my roommate. You said, bro. I was walking out in his robe. Hey, dude. How do you like your eggs, Mike? Okay, dude. Dude, no. P1 Abigail, where are you? Hi, Abigail. So you go by Abby Lou? Is that the deal? Yes. I need you to talk on that particular mic. You got to talk right into it until I complain enough that they come in here and finally change that mic for a mic that I don't have to always tell listeners. Poor listeners come in here and I make them have to French kiss a microphone. It's terrible. Go ahead and eat the microphone. Pretend it's a corn cob.
But anyway, you're a bartender. Let's see. You also work at the Lodge. You work at Miguel's. You've got a lot of different jobs, right? I work a lot. That's right. And your birthday's on Sunday. Yes, it is. Very cool. You'll be 24 years old. Awesome. Very nice. And then we have P1, babe. Hi, babe. Hi, guys. How are you? Good to have you in here. She killed it in trivia. You did so good on the trivia. And you're a claims examiner. Yes. So that means when people are trying to, is that for cars or what is it for? It's for specialty health care. Gotcha. I just enter information from one paper to another. I don't deal with anybody. There you go. It's good. Yeah, it's great. And she loves the Mikey show. She says it's like crack. And she's all about it. It really is like crack. There you go. And P1 Rawl, where is P1 Rawl? He's all the way over there. How come you're over there, Rawl? Is that where you want to be? Okay. Rob's on Vicodin now, bro. Try to remember that. He doesn't know where he is. That's true. Raul's 25. He's already got a couple of twin daughters. Aw, congrats. 25 years old. So, very cool. That's P1 Raul. Good to have you in here. We're, of course, already late. I can't believe what time it is. 6.32. So, testimony. See ya. Let's see. We got P1 Killer on the line.
And he wants to call in and talk to us. What's going on, Killer? Hey, Mikey. What's up? I wonder if you can clear up a rumor that I'm hearing. Beto is going around saying that he's going to enter in the Father's Day contest. Yeah, dude. What? Oh, the single dad's set up. I was going to do it, but my kid's not old enough to ask questions. Please, please. What, paparazzi? My purpose is I wanted to know why you guys can't be in L.A. at the same time. You know, if he can do it, why can't you guys? Well, yeah, I know, but I wish that we didn't have to let the world know that he's on, you know, that he's competing, you know? Well, he's a different time slot. Or there could be some overlap. So we're, I guess, making this tough for Missy or B.C. and Clint or something, you know? I don't know when he's on, but... Listen, so he's on, whatever. Who cares? Yeah, he's on, and I don't know why we can't do it. I would love to do it. Because we don't host American Idol. That could be it. That could be it. We would love to be on in Los Angeles. We don't have a show on E! either. It would be great to be on in Los Angeles. We didn't get a cameo in Knocked Up. You know what I'm saying? Sorry, he was good in that. Did he really get a cameo in Knocked Up? Yeah, he's pretty good. This guy's not a fan. She's not like me where she's just a big Ryan Seacrest. Oh, I'm kind of out on him. I kind of think he's a tool. Back to The Mikey Show. Featuring Mikey. I like all types of foods. I have no food allergies. Eddie. Kevin Federline is my hero. Sky. Hosts are important to me. Sean. I do not mind needles. Sebastian Rob. Tell me something about you, Rob. The scariest movie ever made to me is The Exorcist. And Ashley. I fit inappropriately in dresses. On Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show at 642. United and U.S. Airways have now joined American Airlines in charging you for your first piece of checked luggage. I hope you didn't turn off the NBA Finals game last night. The Lakers at one point, they were up 24 over Boston. Boston comes all the way back to win, now up three games to one. Yes. So what does that mean? When do they play again? Sunday. Sunday. He's asking me. Eddie, he is so into it.
Ask me. You know, the guy is really drugged. He's really drugged. We're a great team. He's from Boston. We have one sports news team right here, Rob and Eddie. What? No. It's Rob and Eddie, by the way. What? It's not Eddie at all. It's Rob and Eddie. Eddie, how do you think Boston will do? I think Boston will probably win the series. I think they're going to lose this next game on Sunday. But once it goes back to the Garden, they'll win. I'm hoping for that. I want us to win at home. Yeah, I agree with that. He's not asking you. No, no, no. This is a great job we're doing. Keep going. I'll get some production piece done for us. I'm going to take the rest of your teeth out. Let's see. What do we got going on? Oh, this is kind of an interesting story. Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are going to have movies released on the same day. That's crazy. Yeah, like those two girls don't have enough, you know. competition going on. But yeah, it's like this big news story. It was a story on the front of CNN that they are going to have movies released on the same day. So it's happening in October, October 24th, two days after my birthday. Eddie, I know. That can't be for real. It's for real. She wants to let everyone know October 22nd, that's her birthday. Which will be a Wednesday if the 24th is a Friday. All right.
So midweek party. What up? Anyway, so Angelina Jolie will have her movie, The Changeling, coming out. And Jennifer Aniston will have her romantic comedy, He's Just Not That Into You, coming out. So they're saying, oh, the box office battle. Who will win? Skye, who do you think will win? I'm kind of feeling Jennifer Aniston on this one. I'm definitely feeling Angelina Jolie on that one. Yeah, well, it's a Clint Eastwood movie. It's a missing child drama. I don't know. Bless you. Bless you. Yeah, and the Aniston movie has Ben Affleck, Scarlett Johansson, Drew Barrymore in it. Yeah, it's a pretty even match, I think. We'll see. The U.S. Open is going to be running all through the weekend. In fact, speaking of the U.S. Open, Eddie is doing his U.S. Open dance right now. I love it. Well, Mike, I'm glad we're reporting to you on the U.S. Open. Is it okay? Broadcasting live. I have a question. Yes. It's totally up to you, but can we videotape your U.S. Open reports and put them online if people want to watch your U.S. Open reports?
They can, but they won't be relevant anymore. I know, but I think that what people are missing is a pretty important dance. The dance is really important. I don't know. I mean, I thought it was pretty important. Vital, almost, even. Here's the deal. The first-round leaders are Justin Hicks and Kevin Streelman. Never heard of either one of them. Tiger Woods is one over. Phil is even for the round yesterday. Tiger and Phil are going to tee off in the afternoon tee-off until later on today. Okay, so that means that it starts at 8, right? Like, they start teeing off for the first time at 8 a.m. Yes. But Tiger and Phil... They wait until noon. They have two different blocks of times. They have the morning round and then the afternoon round. Since they played in the morning yesterday, they're going to play in the afternoon today. Got it. And, yeah, Tiger is talking about yesterday, talking about how he was just trying to stay under par. We're all going to make mistakes out here. You're going to make more than two bogeys and 72 holes out here. As I said, I just happened to make two of them on the very first hole. So I just got to clean it up.
get it going and get to even par as fast as I could. And then from there, let's try and get to under par for the day. And I did that. I got to under par at the turn and I just didn't keep it there. Okay. So they go through 18 holes each day. Yep. And so if they start, because I remember when we went to Medeiros Golf Course one time, it took a long time, man. For sure. Is it the same with professionals? Oh, yeah, definitely. How long will they, if they start at noon, When do you think they'll finish? If they start at noon, they'll probably finish around 5, 5.30. And do they get a break, or do they just go five straight hours? All the way through. Now, do they ride in golf carts, or do they walk the whole course? Walk the whole course. They walk the whole course. So by the end of it, pretty tired, right? Well, I mean, these guys do it all the time, but the big concern with Tiger is they just had knee surgery. So, you know, I mean, walking that 18 is...
Probably pretty difficult for him. Yeah. You could tell on 18 he hit a drive and he grimaced right afterwards. You could tell he's still pretty sore. And they're not allowed, even if they wanted to, to use a golf cart, right? Absolutely not. Oh, man. I would never want to be a golfer. That sounds like a lot of work. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. Are they all bad texts? Zeth. They're lame? Are we getting lame stuff? We get some really lame texts. What's an example? Read me something that you're getting. Vern Troyer was on a TV show that my friend created. Thank you. Yeah, that's not really something that I would want to read. Vern Troyer was on a TV show my friend created. I think that's right. What else? Give me another one. Sniffing glue special.
Yeah, I don't know that that's really one that makes sense. You know, I mean, the first part made sense, but then he put the word special in there and I ruined it. And then finally one more, Seth. Okay, well, thank you for not giving me texts. 570-1053 is the number. You can call us right now. I usually only let you do it at the very beginning of the show, but I'll let you do it right now. Really scared the 7-Eleven, dude. Sean, do you stop at 7-Eleven every day? No, but usually like probably three times a week, I would say. And what is the purpose at 7-Eleven? It's early morning, right? Yeah, it's early morning, and sometimes I'm a little hungry at that time of the morning. Mike, let's all stop for a sandwich. What time are we talking? That would be, let's see, three.
About 3.30. Okay, so 3.30 in the morning, you're a little hungry, and so you stop for a sandwich. Sandwich, yep, and I like it heated ever so slightly in the microwave, Mike. You like it heated? 15 seconds. How many? 15. One-five, Mike. What kind of sandwich do you get? This morning it was a ham and cheese with little pieces of bacon in it. Mm-hmm. Sounds delicious. Well... Sean said that when he opened the microwave, it looked like someone had exploded a cat in there. It was horrific, Mike. It was hostile. It was really, really, really bad. Yeah, it was. It was really bad. Sean's a germaphobe. He just really is... He thinks everything's filthy. Everything's filthy. Mostly is. In fact, one time he thought that he saw like a water spot on a fork that Eddie had and he was like... Well, it was quite a bit more than a water spot, Mike. So he flipped out. He's crazy. And it was a lot more than one. Okay, so you can imagine if that was the case with a water spot, you can imagine what would happen when he opened up a microwave and he found a bunch of stuff in it. So you know what Sean did? He screamed.
He screamed in the 7-Eleven. He screamed. At 3.30 in the morning. And he scared the 7-Eleven guy. Yeah. Like I opened it up and I went, oh. It just so, it surprised the heck out of me. And so the guy comes running over and he has like his rag with him. And he goes, are you okay? Are you okay? I go, yeah, I'm fine. But the microwave, he goes, oh, I thought you got sprayed. And I said, got sprayed. And he was telling me that these kids come in and they take like big wads of gum that they've been chewing and they shove it up into the little spouts on the soda dispenser. You know, they have like the big dispenser. The fountain machine. Yeah, the fountain machine. So they shove it up in there. And then when people come up and they press, it shoots right. It goes all over them, which I thought was brilliant. Sean thought it was funny. Eddie's laughing. Sean, you think it's funny that somebody's already used chewing gum is touching where your soda is. Hang on. I'm going to just pause. One moment. Now, this is a very good exercise right now because what we're seeing is we're seeing very different personalities. You've got...
Eddie and Sean, who are still seven years old in a lot of ways. They're still very, very much youthful, I think is the way to put it. Very youthful. And then you have Sky, who is, you know, when she was 22, she was more like 62. Old soul. She's an old soul. And so she is a classic adult. That is disgusting. Sky is an adult. And so at 30 years old. She is that lady that we remember as kids that was like... This behavior is not acceptable. It's not acceptable, Mike. And, you know, she's an adult. They're contaminating everyone's sodas with their stupid child cold mouth. Yes, yes. Now, you do have the person like Ashley who doesn't think it's right, but Ashley's more, oh, gross. Skye is the classic adult who says this. She wants to punish them. Yes, you need to be punished. This behavior is punishable. Yeah. And, you know, it's not right. Yeah. So, Sean.
So the guy thought that you had been sprayed. Yeah, he thought I was sprayed. So hopefully after he realized that it was just you freaking out over the microwave, which was nothing. Yeah, then he gave me the paper towels and the spray, and I went to work. He lets Sean clean the microwave himself. And it was clean. Imagine walking in and seeing a patron cleaning the microwave. You imagine how bizarre that must look. Hey, you know what? You want something done right, you got to do it yourself. I guess so. Are you on the payroll at this point? You should be. You should be. Oh, my God. Text us something good at 35253. Our phone number is 570-1053. Single Dad Setup coming up at the, in about an hour from now, we'll be doing Single Dad Setup. Dr. Drew has issued an apology to Tom Cruise after he said that Tom's fascination with Scientology stems from childhood neglect. Jake Peavy is back. He came back yesterday through six shutout innings. Adrian Gonzalez and Brian Giles both went deep in the first inning, and they won 9-0 over LA. That's nice to hear. Jake back. Nine to nothing. That's just good. That's good to hear. Was it here? Oh, nice. Very nice. Sky, this Dr. Drew thing, he said that Tom Cruise...
Was a victim of neglect when he was a kid? Yeah, he was doing an interview when he was talking about how like people in the public eye who suffer from mental illnesses like can help the public because they can learn the symptoms and how to treat it. And then he goes on to say, quote, take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me, that's a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood, maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect. And, of course, Tom Cruise's lawyers immediately got involved, immediately issued a statement. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Tom Cruise doesn't mess around. He doesn't issue statements through his publicist. He goes straight to his lawyers. You know, the thing that you have to ask Tom is, so, Tom, is that working? Because people keep saying stuff. It doesn't stop people from saying things. They say stuff. What it does accomplish, though, is him getting really worked up and getting crazy over it. Yeah, so Tom's lawyer says he doesn't know what kind of doctor this Dr. Drew is. He's a flake and pretends to diagnose people he's never met, suggesting that all Scientologists are mentally ill. This should tell you something about that.
Dr. Drew then issued an apology saying he apologizes if his comments were hurtful. He didn't mean to hurt Tom Cruise or make any assumptions about Scientology. But take note that in 2006, Tom Cruise in an interview told Parade Magazine that his late father was a bully and a coward and a merchant of chaos. Who said that? Tom Cruise said that about his own late estranged father. Wow. What a good diagnosis is. Oh, my goodness. That is pretty crazy. I heard that Dr. Drew also added that Far and Away was his favorite film, which was, I thought, a nice touch. This is interesting. Now here's Mikey. What's with your face? No, no, no, no. Eddie, you guys are getting along. You guys are getting along. You're getting along. Have I said a word? Have I said a word? Yes. Let's tell the truth. What did I say? When I first walked in here, we had a little animosity. Because what you said is about my dancing? It's horrible. I mean, I was just telling the truth. And after we got over that. Shot over the bow, Eddie. She made it. She sent the shot over your bow. It's fine. I guarantee victory today, Mike. Whoa.
We're going a little far. That's a jinx if I've ever heard one. Exactly. A little far. It's on. That is a big, gigantic statement right there. I have a question. Go ahead. Go ahead, Ash. Is there any way we can videotape Battle of the Sexes? Yeah, maybe we could. And CS beat up on them? That would be great. Because it's really funny when Chantal and Eddie get in each other's faces violently and try to fight. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. I got my little minnow in here. We do it often. And so I could do that. Is that what it's called? Yeah, it's called a minnow. Really? It's called flip minnow. Why are you looking at me like that? It's on. Turn the lights on, Rob. I don't feel any love in the air. This is nuts. Do you have a coin? It's Fun Day Friday. What do I look like? Donald Trump in it? Fun Day Friday. I got a penny. Yep, that's what we need. I've got to flip to see who's going to go first. Oh, gosh. It was close. It was close. Well, not really. She tried. We're very far away. Can you find it? Yep. Okay. This guy chucks it at us. Here you go. All right. Are you ready? Who's calling? Yeah. We are. We haven't called in three weeks. Okay. Okay. Guys are calling. Here we go. Oh, man. Fails never fails, Mike. Ooh. Tense.
Yes. Or it is today. So the ladies get to decide what they want to do. Is that the notes? Yeah, we like to go. Yeah, we like to go second. Thank you. Bad choice. Bad choice. Milk was a bad choice. Yep. What? Milk? Rob, you can't even talk today. What are you doing? Just start. Seriously. Chantel, question. Question. Question for you. I'm ready. Just trying to get to know you. I want listeners to be able to get to know Chantel a little bit. If you were going to a deserted island, you could only take one CD with you, what would it be? That's hard. Really? Yeah, I want people to get to know who you are. Oh, no. Can I take two or three? You can only take one. You said one. How did she even get that question wrong? I asked Eddie that question instantly. He wanted to be Pearl Jam. No, I'd want to take Mariah Carey. I like her. Oh, yes. Mariah Carey? Which one? Yes. Oh, that irritated. I like Butterfly. Okay. That's a great one. She would take Mariah Carey, Butterfly. Yes, I would. There you go. All right. Whatever. Ladies, we got two teams. We got Team Awesome and Team Sass.
Guys are Team Awesome. Ladies, Team Sass. Eddie is the captain of Team Awesome. Don't ever do that again. People are going to start wondering. I am the boss of you here when you go home. Your wife is the boss. We exchange. Chantel is the captain of Team Sass. And Chantel, as your captain, you get to decide. Would you like to start or would you like to... You won the coin toss. Would you like to start or would you like to go second? We're going to go second. Okay, okay. So, Eddie, that means that I'm going to let you decide which one of your team, you, Austin Rob, or Sean, will start. I want to remind you that Boston Rob very viked up today. No, this is not good. This is awesome. I forgot about that before I made the guarantee. I'm going to lead the team off today, Mike. You're going to lead off. Good luck, Eddie. Thanks, Ashley. I like you. You're cool. No, he's having a hard morning. I'm here for him. He's not. He's attacking everyone this morning. Everyone. Everyone. Right down to the gate. Stop kissing his hat. I haven't attacked anyone. You called me horrendous looking the first second I walked in the door. Are you ready? Do you think that was nice? He was lashing out, Skye, because he's having a tough morning. She looks amazing. Come on, Skye. Hug it out with him. No. No.
Sky, maybe it would make you feel better if you gave Eddie a hug. Eddie wants a hug. He's opening his arms up. Eddie's ready. Chantal just slaps Eddie's arms. I think we should just start the game. Rude. Eddie, your question is, who is the DJ who is in an alleged relationship with Lindsay Lohan? Who is the DJ who is... Oh, he's praying. He's praying. He's got his hands up to his face in preposition. Eyes are closed. He's shaking his head. I don't know. He's saying, I don't know. He's saying, I don't know. It's a female. It is a female. Eddie says. Allegedly. She's hard to look at. Starts with an R. Oh. Eddie is thinking. He's got his eyes closed. He's got his hand covering his mouth. He's thinking about it. He's shaking his head a little bit. Oh. Get up off me. Saying to Chantal, get up off me. Okay.
Okay. Chantel is teasing Eddie. Yes. She does not. I can tell by the look on Chantel's face. She does not believe the answer lies in his mind right now. She's being very coy. It starts with an R. I know it for a fact. Eddie is thinking. Eddie, I need an answer. Ronson. That was good. I don't know. It's okay. I need a first and last name. If the last name is wrong. The last name is correct. Her name is Samantha Ronson. Give it to him. What's up? What's up now? I thought it was Ronston. Eddie gets the point. In Jeopardy, all they got to do is give the last name and then you blew it. No, Mike blew it. No, you did. You said I was wrong. Mike could have said the last name is correct, but I need a first name as well.
Well, I said I need first and last name, but... That's what you said, and then you gave him the first name. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I did. So, but my reasoning with this is that he did get the name right. Her name is Ronson. Her name is Ronson. That was huge. I don't know where they equal that. That was huge. I really don't know. That was huge. It was a guess. Ever seen in this game. Wow. That was weak. Yeah! Team Sass. That was amazing. Yeah, thank you, Mike, for giving them a point. Oh, come on. I rule. We're going to the captains. That was fair. That was fair. We're going to the captains. Okay, we will apply that role. You're the only cool one on that team. No, we're good. You just like her, but she's kissing your ass. We're all good, Eddie. We like you. You like her. And Eddie and Cash look great today, but you're all good. You're a gentleman and a scholar. Yuck, I'm going to vomit. Team Sass? Everyone's fine. Your captain, Chantel, gets to decide who's going to start. Fine, I will. Eddie is mocking her. Eddie is mocking her, saying, why don't you start?
Chantel, you're going to start? Yes, I am. Stop looking at me like that. Chantel, your question is sports related. Not only is it sports related, it's basketball related. Not only is it basketball related, it's Los Angeles Lakers related. Oh, this is all good things. Eddie is worried. This is all good things. Eddie is worried. Chantel. I can't really tell where she is with this. You know, she actually aspires to maybe be a Laker girl. Maybe one day. She acts like she's the biggest Laker fan in the world. No, you watch the game. You watch the game. You watch the game. Yeah, you didn't watch the game. What's up? She is so interesting. You better get this. You better get this. Holy crap. Chantel, the two of them, look at that look on their face. Sorry.
Yeah, be zoning in on the two of them right now. He missed it. He missed it. Here's your question, Chantel. Yeah. What college did Kobe Bryant attend? He didn't attend college because he went straight from high school. You got it. That is correct. Oh, look at that. Look at that. Are you getting Chantel? You getting Chantel? Zach, did you get Chantel? That was rad. Doing her little dance? Dang it. That was rad. Darn it. See some more. Any one of these two? You would have been in trouble. That was well done. You told me to go first, and I took it on, and I got it right. I think that's her first one she's ever gotten correct. Oh, Rob, please don't go there. I know we're like it. You go with that one.
Game is tied. Oh, I'm exhausted already. I haven't even gone yet. You got one correct. As many as the Lakers win. Oh, stop it. Let's not. Over to Boston Rob. All right, here I go. It's a Celtics question. Oh, wow. All right. Eddie, Boston Rob is all hyped up or hopped up on Vicodin. It makes him smarter. It does. It does. That's true. Your question, Boston Rob. What are the names of the three girls who star in? The Girls Next Door on E. Wow. Names. So that's more than one. What are the names of the three girls who star in The Girls Next Door on E? I'll tell you this. I didn't know that there was a TV show called The Girls Next Door on E. It's so good. It's a good show. Love it. Did not know that. Dang, Joe. So good. Yeah, someone would definitely know. Yeah. Don't think I've ever watched the E channel. Really? Uh-uh. Hmm. Uh-uh. Yeah. So three names. This is going to take a minute. Because he already lags and he's biked up. We could technically, if we were all quiet, we could technically sit here for four and a half hours and he would never know it. That'd be fun. And then he would go, I don't know. Can you read the question I got? Yeah. Can you repeat the question, Mike?
Come on, Rob. I'm going to say Samantha. It's good. Just kidding. Oh. Because when she said good, that is wrong. That's not good, right? When she says good, that's not good. Karen. I've got a little mouth issue going on right now. Go ahead, Rob. Tammy. That's another good one. Brazier. Brazier and... Toothless. And toothless. That is incorrect, Ryan. That is incorrect. That sounded close, at least. That is weird. The three girls on the girls next door on E are Kendra, Bridget, and Holly. Yeah. All right. They're all three of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. They live with him, and that's what the reality show's all about. Is it really? Yeah. I have no idea. Those are his three girlfriends, and then they all live in a mansion. Although Holly's going to get the other two kicked out. There you go. No, she's not.
Oh, yes. Dude, that's jacked. Is it a reality show like Elimination? Like they eliminate people? No, those are Henry Girlfriends. They live with Hugh Hefner, and it's about the Playboy life. They just show them how life is for them. What life is like living with Hugh. But Holly's his main one. But Holly's his main girlfriend, so she sleeps with him. Gotcha. And they have their own rooms, Bridget and Holly. Gotcha. All right. And then there's the Playboy girl. Enough, enough. I had to turn her mic off. I mean, I can't. I'm trying to move on for 20 minutes. You were just tipping your hat to her. What in the world? All right. Here is Ashley's question for Team Sass. Oh, me? Yes. Get it, girl. Yeah, we're going in order. Here we go. Ash, your question is, what movie was the famous quote from? As far back as I can remember, I always wanted... To be a gangster. Is that from... A. Goodfellas. B. The Godfather. Or C. Scarface. I've always wanted to be a gangster. Um... Ashley's thinking. She is thinking. That is correct. Nice. It was Eddie. Eddie is.
Eddie is biting. He's trying so hard not to say something right now, but you can tell he's very upset. He's got it. He's got it under control. He just regained it. He just regained it. You okay? You got it. It's all, you're good to go. One second? One minute? No, he's saying, please, Chantel, don't draw this out of me. I'm good. Come on. I can, he's rising above it. You okay? That's not going to help you. Eddie's got it. Come on, Sean. Sean? Man, we're killing it right now. What is it, two nothing girls? I think that's what it is. It is two to one. Remember, Mike gave Eddie. Oh, that's right. He didn't give me nothing. I got it right, remember? You didn't even know what the answer was? Back to Team Awesome. Sean, your question is, Eddie just mimicked Sky's head exploding. Stop it. Sean, your question is, what was Jennifer Lopez's character's name in The Wedding Planner? Was it A, Mary Fiore, B, Sarah Edison, or C, Fran Donnelly? Was it A, Mary Fiore, B, Sarah Edison, or C, Fran Donnelly? Great movie. Yeah.
Sean is shaking his head. As he does before he gives a right answer. Shut up. Get off my back. Oh, he's really thinking right now. Or waiting for an IM. Yeah, I mean, well, it's one of two things. Yeah, who's sending me an IM? Calm down. Maybe his wife. His wife. She listens online. You don't know. She wouldn't help us. Well, and it's also a 10-second lag. That's why it takes him so long. I'm sorry. It's a full minute. That's why it takes him three hours to answer. I have a question to you, please. Yes, you can. Here we go. Sean, your question. Shut up. Let me think. Your question is, now, the audience has to ask themselves right now, is Sean toying with them? As usual, mind you. Or does he really not know? The question is, what was Jennifer Lopez's character's name in The Wedding Planner? Was it A, Mary Fiore? Was it B, Sarah Edison? Or was it C, Fran Donnelly? He's got his fist up to his chin. He's resting his chin on his fist. He's thinking. He's blinking. I don't know. Shut up. I really don't know. He doesn't know. Ignore him. I honestly don't know. He doesn't know. So, because... Whatever. Because...
Jennifer Lopez is ethnic-looking. I'll go with the only one that's kind of ethnic, and that's A. That's correct, Sean. You got that one right. You're amazing, Sean. He's making the face. That was an unbelievable guess. I love it. Rub it in. Get him, Sean. Get him. It's so demeaning when he does that. It's a placation. Funny. No, I don't. I am fine. Thank you, though. Back over to the girls and Team Sass. Get him. And this question is for Skye. Don't blow it. Skye, you can do this. Skye, you can do this. You can do this. You can do this. Eddie. She's cute and you know it. Skye. I don't know what's wrong with her. Skye, your question is. Eddie.
Be nice. Yes. Is that sick of his feet? She looks great. Yes, she did. Skye, who was the player that let a slow ground ball roll through his legs and it caused the Red Sox to lose the 1986 World Series? Not a cool question. Wow. Did she get an A, B, C, or D? Is it multiple choice? It's not multiple choice. Why? It's not multiple choice because it's been said on this show. Many times. Many, many. Many, many, many times. That's a lie. To upset Boston. Oh, it's true. When you hear it, you will say... Well, she'll pretend that she doesn't know, but inside she'll know. It's been said many times to make fun of Boston Rob. I'm trying to think of just any Red Sox player I know. I think there's David Ortiz. Hang on a second. I think there's someone called Big Poppy. Sky, Sky, a couple things here. This was 1986. Mike, don't help her. I'm reading it. I'm reading the question. It's in the question. Don't help her. Who was the player that let a slow ground ball roll through his legs, causing the Red Sox to lose the 1986 World Series? Now, in fairness to you, I will allow just a last name. Because I did that with Eddie. That's not going to help you, Mike, but thank you. I'm fine with that. I'm going to say...
Rodriguez. That is not right. That is not right. Whoa. Well, my second guess would be Garcia. That's okay. My third guess would have been Benitez. What do you want from me? I'm playing. It's gone. It's a fact. It's called the Dominican Odds. Mike, will you accept the nationality? All right, let's hear this name. Let's keep going. Let's hear this name. I've heard a million times. Mike, is it brown? Rob, what is it? Not the name, the skin color. Okay. Well, he's forgiven. It's Bill Buckner. It was Bill Buckner. Oh, yeah, I have heard that name. Bill Buckner. Bill Buckner. Oh, good, Bill. We are tied at two to two. Okay. The last few times, it's been very close. It has. We'll come back. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people will pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you, man. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Is that all right, Chantel? I gave him a little bit. He had a little bobble going on. All right, you give it something. Can you give it something, Chantel? What would you give it? You're the best, Ashley. One of the many things I love about him, Ashley. You're really grossing me out today. He's a good man. I have never seen the truth gross people out more than me. What's wrong with me pointing out the truth? The truth. The truth.
You're better than that, Ashley. You are. You're better than all of them. I just want you to know. No one's better than the truth. Sorry, Eddie, because you don't deserve this today. I don't. He talks about British show. Chantel, can we kick her off our team? I don't get it. I don't understand. I would like to. That is so mean. Well, it's obvious she'd rather be on your team. I know. We'd love to have her. I'm sure you would. Oh, look at this. Eddie, would you be willing to trade one of your players for Ashley? Dude, Rob's super biked right now. He's biked up right now. That means we go over to... We go over to... Who starts? The ladies? The guys. Yeah. Cheddar. Eddie, you ready? Yes. Come on, Cheddar. Your question is. What? I thought that. Your question is. No. In embroidery. Come on, Mike. It's a question. It's a question, bro. Yes. It's a question, bro. These girls don't even know what this is. Yeah, let me hear the question. I may know this. In embroidery, what is the name of the stitch in which an X-shaped stitches are used to form a picture? Easy.
Easy. I know this. Yep, we know it. Well, I don't know. I'll take a guess. The only thing that comes to mind is macrame? That is incorrect. That is incorrect. You're going to laugh at me? That is incorrect. Because I don't know embroidery. Wow. He doesn't know embroidery. I barely know embroidery. What about embroidery? What is that? What is that? What's the difference? Do you know anything about embroidery? What's the difference between the two? Who cares? It's all some yarn and cloth. That's the embroidery I'm talking about. Eddie, the answer is cross stitch. The X-shaped stitches that they do in embroidery are called cross stitch. It is. Oh, wow. This is it. Never heard of it. Team Sass. Yes. Chantal is up.
Oh, boy. Make sure it's a Lakers question. No, no. It's the only way she'll get anything right. Stop it. Let's not. Come on. Chantel. Come on. Your question is, in regard to automobiles. Oh, no. Thank you. In regard to automobiles, how is torque measured? In regard to automobiles, how is torque measured? By acceleration. That is incorrect. That is incorrect. That is incorrect. Torque is the amount of pressure that happens between your wheel and the pavement. Like, I'll give you, for instance, if they took a piece of wood, right? They took a piece of wood. Here's your tire. And they took a piece of flat wood and they nailed that piece of wood somehow to your tire. And over here they had a scale. And when you took off, it went slap.
Onto that scale, it's how many pounds of pressure are put on that scale. Oh, okay. You get it? It's foot pounds. Foot pounds per square inch. Oh, you didn't know that? They do it in foot pounds. Foot pounds per square inch. Torque. It's a torqueier vehicle. Now, it's very, I really like torque. I really like torque. Well, I don't want to get too into it. Mike likes cars. I love cars. And so, you know, usually when a car's got a little bit more horsepower, it's got a little bit more torque. Torque, yeah. You know, now some cars, they don't have that high a torque. They got plenty of horsepower. Can't put that much torque like my car. Can't put too much torque on there because that engine would rip the rubber right off those tires. There's so much horsepower in that M5. It would tear the rubber right off of the car.
the foot pounds. That question was horrible. It kind of makes you want to replace that rubber with someone's face. Just let that cork do the job. We now go over to... Sorry, girls. We now go over to Boston Rob. Boston Rizzy. Rob, what Alanis Morissette song is... Sky instantly has a giant... Smile on her face. She's loving it. Rob, what Alanis Morissette song is rumored to be about former Full House star Dave Couillé? Are you... What? That is a true question. That is a true question. Yeah. What Alanis Morissette song is rumored to be about former Full House star Dave Couillé? Funny thing is, we actually asked Dave Couillé about this very thing on these airwaves. Here. Here, Rob.
Okay, let me go. Let me think of my Vicodin past. Back into my mind. All I know is two songs by her. That ironical song. Ironical? And Hand in My Pocket. Isn't it ironical? I need an answer, Rob. We all need an answer, Mike. I didn't consider that, actually. Good Lord. I'm going to go hand in my pocket song. That is incorrect, Rob. It is not hand in my pocket. Does she have any other songs? No, you're the worst. I'm for real. Rob, you do not remember us discussing this. Nothing comes to you? No, dude. I want you to know. Yeah, this is the hand in the pocket. No.
It's not, Rob. It was her first big hit. Hand in my pocket. I, Veronica. Yeah, you might want to not play the whole song. What is this called? You ought to know. I know I should, but I don't know, okay? Just tell me. You ought to know I have my hand in my pocket. That's you ought to know, brother. No. Wow. Wow. You guys. Oh, I didn't say I was a great singer ever. Let's go over to Team Sass. Come on, Ashley. Ashley, you get a multiple choice question. She's got it, girl. Nice. She's got it. Yeah. Which of the following was not an in-ring persona of wrestler Mick Foley? Wait, wait, what? None of that made any sense.
Ash, your multiple choice question is, which of the following was not an in-ring persona of wrestler Mick Foley? Okay. Was it one of the biggest wrestling personalities ever in the history of professional wrestling? It's true. Ever? Ever. Right, Eddie? Would that be right? Yeah, definitely one of them. Which of the following was not an in-ring persona of wrestler Mick Foley? Was it A, Dude Love? Was it B, Mankind? Or was it C, The Blue Blazer? Was it A, Dude Love? B, Mankind? Or C, The Blue Blazer? Ashley is thinking. She has her mouth open. She's smiling. She's squeezing her eyes shut. Uh-oh. Take your time. Like, I want to say dude love because that's so ridiculous. Like, who would name themselves that? Like, that's so stupid. But then I'm like, okay, well, that is so stupid that it probably was one of his names. So what would be the most basic name that would probably be wrong? So I'm going to say Blue Blaze. I love the logic. She's on our team, so that point goes to the guys. Good job. No, I can't leave my girls.
I'm the A in Team Sass. Get it? We are going over to Sean. And if Sean gets this question right, we're tied. Oh, wow. This is like the closest game ever. But what happens if he gets it wrong? If he gets it wrong, Skye, it's over. And the ladies win again. Get him, Sean. Third time. I ain't even playing. Sean, are you ready? Sean, your question is... Sean, what is the name of an underskirt that is full and often trimmed and ruffled in a decorative fabric? Oh, Sean's got that look on his face that's gone. Best look ever. Oh, you're being the look he has every time. Best look ever. This one is definitely a frown. Oh, that is a frowning? He's frowning. Clown frown right there. And our multiple choice.
It is not a multiple choice, Eddie. We had no multiple choices. They had like five of them. This is garbage. This is garbage. I had it. We had zero multiple choices. Stop it. But if you guys had one, you'd be all up in the air like, oh, I had multiple choices. You're not even making sense. You're talking gibberish. Sean has the same frown on his face this very second that he had when we started the question. He kind of looks grossed out. Yeah. Give us a multiple choice question. No. I can give Sean the same multiple choice question I gave him the last time. Jennifer Lopez's character's name. That's not fair. That's fine. I'll accept it. All right, Sean. The question one more time is, what's the name of an underskirt that's full and often trimmed and ruffled in a decorative fabric? What's that called? And ruffled in a decorative fabric. What do they call that? He's thinking. He's looking in the ceiling. He's blinking. He's doing this thing with his hands. It's almost like he's going to sneeze. It's almost like he's going to sneeze. He's trying to think of it. He doesn't know, though. You can tell the look in his eyes says, I don't know the answer to this. Are you taping that, Seth? Please tell me you are.
Please tell me that you're letting listeners see this look. Sean, is it coming to you? Sean, do you have it? What do you think? Oh, man, it looks like he doesn't have it. But Sean. Mike, he has to answer it now. You have to answer, Sean. I hate you. I really don't know. He doesn't know. He doesn't know. Yes, you do. He says this every time. This one, he doesn't know. Mike, you said that the last time. I don't think he knows this one. I honestly do not know the answer to this. Okay, so that's his answer. So the only thing, I only know one thing in terms of whatever that junk is. I can picture it, but for the life of me, I don't know what it's called. So the only term I know for that type of thing, and it's probably wrong. But no, honestly, I don't. He doesn't know. Go already. He doesn't know. But the only thing I know is a petticoat. That's all I know.
Is that? Oh, my God. That is the most hysterical thing. Sean, that's right. Actually, Sean, no. Sean, that's right. And then he hits his own side. I'm seeing stars. I'm seeing stars right now. That was so funny to me that I laughed so hard. I laughed so hard. Stars came to my eyes. Stars came to my eyes. You're the best. Wait till listeners see the video of Sean going, I'm thinking. Look at this. Sean, you left the girls so irritated. They are so irritated with you. The score is tied. The score is tied. That means that the girls can get this right and win. But if the girls get this question wrong, we go to sudden death. Sky is irritated, Sean. I'm going to let you know right now.
That one did not sit well with Team Sass. All of Team Sass is so irritated at the way you can... Oh, man. Then I took a guess? Yeah. You need to take a freaking... You do that every time. Oh, what's the matter? Every time. What's the matter? And he can just say the answer when he knows it instead of just dragging it out five minutes. That would be better. You gotta see Sean. You gotta see Sean. I mean, Mike. Shut up. Where is this coming from? Shut your mouth. Shut up, Sean. Yeah. Shut your mouth. Sean, can you believe this? Hey, hey, hey. The punishment doesn't fit the crime. You're so dramatic right now. You have to go a wild stab in the dark and you're treating him like a criminal. It's like, whoa. Right now. I don't understand. Put yourself together. You understand. You guys, man. Sheesh. Man. No pressure, Sky. Leave her alone. Why? It's just the game is on the line. Are you serious right now? Sky, you can win the game. You can win the game. An entire gender rides on your shoulders. Go ahead. You and the problem. I don't understand any of this. Sky, if you get this question right, you win for the girls. If you get this question wrong, we go to sudden death. Thank you, please. All right, Sky's got this. I'm not even tripping. Sky. Please be sports. What automaker makes the S2000? Okay, let's think. Think it out. What automaker?
Sean, she's doing this thing where she pretends she doesn't know. And then she's going to say she does. Well, come on. Just say it then. Quit messing around. Leave her alone. Come on. Let's go. Spit it out. Just say it. Come on. Leave her alone. She may have it. Oh, we're going to be here forever. She may have it. She's looking off in the distance. Oh, man. This guy's thinking. Hustle up, champ. Quit stalling. If you guys. Okay, I think I've narrowed it down to two. That's good. Good start. I'm down to Nissan and Mazda. My initial gut was saying it was Nissan. Nissan makes like the Z. I think Mazda makes something with X. I'm going to have to go with my gut and say Nissan. That is incorrect. Oh, no. The entire female race. It's okay. No, it's fine. That's right. Flip him off. He deserves it. That's the car I drove in San Jose. A little black car. Oh, a Honda. A Honda. It's okay. It's a Honda. It's okay. We now go. We now go. It's okay. Team Awesome. Let's do this. Awesome. No way. Give yourself a heart attack. I'm down. Eddie. You be quiet, Rob. No way. I'm yelling your name. No. Eddie guaranteed victory. Yeah.
Holy crap. Now, I have to explain the rules of sudden death. Please do. The way that it works is, I'm going to read you a question. You can interrupt me at any time. Yep, yep. If you interrupt me, you must answer immediately. If you get it right, you win. If you get it wrong, it's a point for the other team. And they win. Come on, Sean. Again, you can't interrupt me. Your question is, what ethnic group? was largely responsible for building most of the early railways in the U.S. Eddie. Chinese? That is correct. Eddie is now over at 053. Sky's mentally checked out, by the way. And he pulls it out. Himself. Himself. Himself. I don't even. I'm supposed to be talking about Johnsonville brats right now. I can't. Speechless. Mike. It's unbelievable, dude. Your performance was as good as those brats, dude. Thank you. Eddie, you guaranteed victory. Yes.
And you brought the victory. Yeah, Mike, he's already said that 12 times. It's incredible. It's really incredible. It's the equivalent. The game hasn't even started. Yeah. Almost as big as the victory that Eddie scored here today on the Battle of the Sexes. People are texting throughout San Diego County telling everybody about the amazing victory that just went down. Off the air, Sky was saying that it might be a campfire story for kids. No, she didn't say that. I did not say anything like that. It will never be. And all those texts that you're sending to your friends about that amazing victory you just heard, they're free because you have cricket. That's right. Sky, tell them all about it. She is so irritated right now. I don't know that I've seen Sky this irritated in a while. What is she irritated, though? Did she hear what happened? It was amazing. I think that there's a couple things that irritate her. One is those other wireless companies that just want to charge you everything through the roof. I get that. The other thing that I think may be irritating her is that Honda S2000 question. It's haunting her. Wow. It could be that it's haunting her. Maybe you owned one. Sky has a look right now like, Mike, you're dead.
I just want you to know you're dead to me. Did you say you're not biased, but you are. Oh, he's fully biased. You guys. Give an Eddie answer. Give an Eddie answer. I said the right name. So he copies and sends me the IM that he sends to Sky. I've since blocked him. I blocked him. No, I didn't sign.
off, Sean. I just blocked you. The IM that he sent to Sky, the IM that he sent to Sky says, isn't Eddie truly, and then in all caps, amazing? And then he sent me her response. Well, we can't read that one. We can't read that one. Was it I agree? It was not. It was not I agree. It wasn't. It wasn't. Stop it now. It was not a radio-friendly response. The FCC is not okay with her response. Did he IM you, Ashley? No. We'll get on that right away. I dare him to IM me. You were kind of behind Eddie the whole time. You're a big supporter of me. I do. I love Eddie. He's a great man. Ashley, what? There you go.
Max, there's nothing to do at the game. Eddie's a great man, and I'm proud to be his assistant. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you. Are you paying her under the table? No, she's his assistant, you get it? Like, he's the boss, so she can't really say anything besides that. That's how it is. She never mouths off. Never. I think we should move on. I think we should. Let's move on. You guys agree? Let's do something positive and fun. We just did. We'll do something positive and fun. More. More. We're going to bring in our single dad. Bring in the single dad. This is great. I'm going to introduce you to our single dad. We're doing something called the single dad setup. Sunday is Father's Day, in case you guys didn't know. You should know that. Make sure you're getting your pop card or something. And if you don't have a pop anymore, make sure on Sunday you're thinking about your pop. It's a good thing. Let's see. So our single dad is coming in with his son. And this is a good-looking father and son here. Good-looking father and son. Very cool. Very nice. Our single dad is 35 years old, and his name is Eric. Eric, how are you?
I'm doing great, thank you. How are you? I'm good, man. It's good to meet you. And Eric, tell us a little bit about yourself, what you do, and how you got involved in the contest. Okay, well, I'm in marketing. I'm a single dad. I'm here with my son, Stone. He's 10 years old. And I guess, you know, probably one of the reasons why we got picked up for the show was because of our relationship together. You know, it's just one of those things where, you know, you have to have a powerful relationship with your son. You need to be involved with your child. There's a lot of single dads out there who are not so interactive with their children. And I can't emphasize how important it is to be involved with your son, you know, sports, school, you know, all the way through. That's awesome. Seems like a real cool guy. That's what we picked, Eric, because just reading his profile. and finding a little bit out about Eric. He just seemed like the perfect guy, very good fit. We could tell right away just from reading the thing that you had sent that you care about your son. And it was just important for us to make sure that we got a guy that seemed like a good person, a good guy. And so that's why we picked Eric. So he is our bachelor. And let's talk to your son. Your son's name is Stone. Yeah, what's up?
This kid's off the hook right here. What's going on, Stone? Stone, you're 10 years old? Yep. Right on. So rad. And where do you guys live? We live in La Mesa. In La Mesa. So you go to school. Where do you go to school in La Mesa? I actually go to school in, like, Pacific Beach. Gotcha. Gotcha. You skateboard there every day? Holla. Yeah, you do. Yeah, Stone. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What kind of stuff are you into right now? I like to skateboard. I'm going to be surfing a lot in the summer. He's so cool. In the winter, we usually go snowboarding. That's cool. That's cool. And tell me about your dad, your relationship with your dad. What's your dad like? He's fun. He likes to travel a lot. We go on trips a lot. That's cool. That's cool. So you guys get along pretty good. Yeah. That's cool. Nice. Did you get a chance to see the different ladies that your dad is going to be taking a look at today? Yeah, we saw them downstairs. Did you think that they were pretty? Yeah. Yeah, they're very pretty. And so the girls, let's go ahead and... Now, here's what we're going to do. I'm just going to let people know. We're going to let Eric, our bachelor, ask each lady three questions. Okay. We're going to let Stone...
Eric's son, who's 10 years old, we're going to let him ask three questions to each of the ladies. So each lady will get a total of six questions. Love it. Then what's going to happen is Eric and Stone are going to discuss. And it will be a picking of a gal through a collaborative effort between Eric and Stone. He's nervous right now. Oh, I love this. Now, let's go ahead and bring in our bachelorettes. Let's bring the bachelorettes in here. Go ahead. And I'm going to tell you that it took a lot, a lot of talking and weeding through to get to this. Because there was a lot of women that were extraordinarily eligible and well put together. Ladies, we're going to have you guys. I'm going to have you guys stand up. I'm going to have you guys. Say what? They have, oh, the girls have this one? Yeah, because they've got to ask questions, and we'll go, you know, you can put bachelorette number one there when you ask her questions, and then so on and so forth. Gotcha. Do we have chairs that the ladies can sit on? We've got to get, if you're sitting in a chair right now and you're in the studio, just for this break, I need you to stand up and allow the ladies to have a seat, okay? Our bachelorettes are Jennifer, Ruth, and Julie. And so we're going to be meeting each of these girls individually. What is your name?
Julie. And I need you guys to talk right into that microphone if you can for me. Julie, how old are you? 22. 22 years old. And tell me a little bit about yourself, what you do, where you grew up, that kind of thing. Well, I'm originally from New Jersey and I grew up in San Diego. Cool. Ramona. Yeah. I'm a hairstylist, and I've worked a couple places. I'm mobile, I go to people, and I also work at Chili's. Sweet. And how did you become interested in doing this? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just, I really want to find that somebody, and it's something I've never done before. It's a challenge for me. Nice. Have social anxiety a little bit at times. It's a challenge for me. It's good. It'll be good. That's cool. When you're here, the hardest part is over. The hardest part is over. You look great. She is beautiful. Julie is 22 years old. When did you move here from New Jersey? Like two. When you were two years old? But we've flown back and forth through the years. So you've been in Ramona pretty much since you were a kid. Yeah. For 20 years you've been in Ramona. Uh-huh. So very, very cool.
We're going to get to these questions in just a second. Next, I'm going to have you stand up, Julie, and I'm going to sit Ruth down. Let me talk to Ruth. Ruth is 24 years old. And Ruth, same thing. Tell me a little bit about yourself. What do you do for a living? And how old are you? And how did you get involved? What made you want to do this? Okay, I'm 24. I work at a cancer center here in San Diego. I do human resources and marketing for the company. I have my degree in journalism. And actually, my girlfriend signed me up. She heard about it on the radio. And I'm a single mom. So she heard about it and signed me up. So hi, Courtney. That's cool. But I'm really excited. I'm excited to find someone who knows about the responsibility. I'm obviously kind of a young mom. Yeah. Most people my age don't. She's got crazy eyes. I think gorgeous. Yeah, yeah. Well, I think that you probably hear that a lot because one of the first things that you notice about Ruth is that she's got these brilliant blue eyes. Yeah. These real piercing blue eyes. And Ruth, did you say that you're from here in San Diego? Yeah, I'm from Carlsbad. Gotcha, gotcha. And you've lived here your whole life? In San Diego, yes.
There you go. All right, and you just, what's the deal? Did you just want to try something different and meet a guy? Yeah, I just thought it sounded fun, like a good time, so. Cool. I'm here. All right, Ruth, I'm going to have you stand up, and I'm going to introduce our final contestant today. And her name is Jennifer. Wow, meow, what's up? They're all gorgeous. Very pretty girls. Yeah. They're all really, really pretty. Jennifer is 30 years of age. And Jennifer, same thing. Where are you from? What do you do for a living? And how did you become interested in doing this? Well, I am also a single mom and my daughter is eight years old. Her name is Taylor. So hi, Taylor. I live up in Poway and I work for an insurance company up there. Cool. And I'm originally from New York and moved to California when I was 13. What got you interested in doing this contest? Well, I want to meet a single dad. Yeah. And I heard it. I listen to you guys every morning, so I heard it on the radio, and I said, you know what? I'm going to go back and apply. Yeah, you're going to give it a shot. Nice work. Thank you. Eddie, the restaurant tonight that is going to be putting up these, whatever couple we decide, is Dusani? Yep, Dusini's. Dusini's. And Dusini's is downtown, and they're going to be gracious enough to provide a dinner.
For these guys tonight. So good. So here's what we're going to do. Since we already have Jennifer sitting down, we're going to go ahead and we're going to begin the questioning. And what we're going to do is we're going to allow for three questions to be asked by dad and three questions to be asked by Stone. Stone's 10 years old, and he is Eric's son. Father's Day is on Sunday. We figured we would do the single dad setup. So let's go ahead and start with you, Dad. We're going to let you ask three questions of Jennifer. Okay. Go ahead, and you've got to do it right into that mic. There you go. There you go. All right. What was the best and worst thing about your most current ex? Whoa, wow. Loaded question. Loaded question. Tough one right out of the gate. Goodness. The best thing. I had got my daughter out of it. Yeah. And the worst is I was way too young to get married. I was 20. You were 20. So we both grew apart. But the best thing was my daughter. I got a question for you. I'm going to ask you something, Eric. Yeah. And you tell me if you're okay with this. Because it's radio.
I want to try to help out a little bit. So if you ask a question, is it okay if I get some follow-up stuff just so people are getting some stuff here? Is that cool? Let's get the meat. Okay, cool. Next question. Next question. What would you like your life to look like in 10 years? Happy. I would love to be settled down with somebody that loves me as much as I love them and that my daughter loves them as much as they love my daughter. How old is your daughter, Jennifer? Eight. Eight years old? Cool. That's a great answer. Thank you. That's a great answer. Thank you. Are you nervous, Jennifer? My heart's pounding. You guys can all settle down. This is very easy. It's much easier than everybody thinks. This is a safe place. Yes, a safe place. You guys have heard how Eddie and Sky treat one another. You know how safe it is. It's a very loving environment. I would say that... Definitely. That the only thing more loving than this environment is what they did in Boston Rob's mouth yesterday. Oh, wow. That wasn't good. Probably the only thing more loving than this room. And what's your last question for Jennifer? Last question. What is your dream date? I had a feeling this was going to come up. Prepared. My dream date would be, for one, to just be totally surprised and have...
a all weekend getaway just to go away wherever possible but totally surprised and just have the best time and just memories lots of memories so the destination wouldn't be such a big deal to you as long as you're getting away and being surprised absolutely are you a spontaneous person to a certain extent when you have a kid yeah but as long as kids are being taken care of you're spontaneous and like let's say the guy were to say i got the kids covered You're like, let's go. Let's go. Let's go. There you go. I'm packed. Let's go. There you go. Already packed. Yep. All right. So, Jennifer, that was the easy part. But now Stone gets to ask you three questions. Oh, yeah. That's a good one. So, Stone, you got. Stone cold. Stone cold. I like that. Stone, you got three questions in front of you. Go ahead and ask the questions to Jennifer. Okay. Have you ever or do you currently use drugs? Whoa. Wow. Wow. Wow. Right out of the bat. If you do not use drugs anymore, what is your reason for stopping? Great question. That's a great question. No, I don't. Now, when I was in high school, I did. Why did I stop? They're not good. They're not good for your head at all. Yeah. And I have a daughter, so.
You have to show the right way. Very responsible. Absolutely. That's very responsible. Good question, Stone. Great question. You don't want no crackhead dating your dad. That's right. No way, man. That's right. What's your next question, Stone? On a scale of one to ten, how hot is my dad? And tell me, what's so hot about him? I love it. I love it. He was up all night riding these. No way. No help at all. That is great. I will give him a 10. Wow. He's a very good looking guy. Yeah. And then I'll add one point and give him an extra for an 11 because he's got a really cute son. Oh, what about that? Stone kind of liked that one. He's popping his collar. He's popping the collar. Go ahead, Stone. By the way, Stone, do you read news? No, wait a minute. Mike! Mike! Skye, wait a minute. I had a rough one today. Hold on, wait a minute. Mike! I'm sorry, Skye. Oh, this got awkward. Sean, I am me that. Sean, I... Don't say Sean! Go ahead, Stone. I didn't think of it fast. Stone, go ahead. Do you consider yourself afraid of comet... comet...
Commitment. Commitment. And if not, what has kept you from committing to one man? Wow. You got some tough questions. What do you think about that, Jennifer? No, I'm not afraid of commitment. And if I found the right person, and I have not found the right man yet, so that's why I have not been committed to somebody. fully committed to somebody yet. There you go. I love it. This is the best. I love it. You're all done, Jennifer. Jennifer was so nervous. She did great. Hey, listen, Ruth and Julie are going to have to work pretty hard because that was pretty good. She did pretty good. Okay, let's get Ruth in the hot seat. Oh, yeah. Let's get Ruth in the hot seat. So, first of all, Ruth, you heard that. That went pretty good. She did good. She did pretty good. So you got some pretty good competition here. Ruth is up, and we're going to go back to Dad. And, Dad, we're going to have you ask three questions of Ruth. Ruth is 24 years old. Okay, Ruth, are you able to admit when you're wrong, or are you more stubborn? Well, I'm never wrong. No. Cheering. Wow.
No, seriously, I do like to think I'm a pretty compromising person. So do I. We're both, right? But I definitely, no, I'll admit when I'm wrong, definitely. But that's rare. There you go. That was great. Eric, what's your next question for Ruth? If you were forced to pick a wedding theme, what would it be? Holy cow. Well, this is a tough question considering I just called off my wedding. Uh-oh. Story. Wait, wait, wait. You just called off your wedding? Well, I was supposed to get married in September. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Get it, Mike. Get it. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Wait a minute. Open the hood. Open the hood. Get the tool belt out. Is that TMI? No, not at all. No, no, no. This is probably pretty good information. Skye's telling me yes. When? Yeah, Skye is definitely waving, that was too much information. Well, when did you break up? About 10 minutes ago. No, June or July. June or July. It's almost a year. Yeah, so it's been almost a year. It's almost been a year. Okay, that's, Skye says, yeah, that's fine. So I'm good. Almost a year. I'm good. Are you? I'm good. Okay. Okay, so what, if you had to pick a wedding theme, what would it be?
A theme. Can you do a Padres wedding theme? Sure, that's a theme. That's definitely a theme. So you're a Padres fan. I'm a Padres fan. Are you also a Charger fan? I'm a Charger fan, but not nearly as much as I like baseball. So you're big time baseball. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. Chantal. Chantal. What did she say? But I do love baseball. There you go. There you go. And Eric, what is your next question? Next question. What's the last thing that made you cry? Ooh. The last thing. Do I have to be honest? Yes. The last thing that made me cry. I guess. God, this is brutal. Don't say Grey's Anatomy finale or anything like that. I don't think it was a Grey's Anatomy. I don't think it was that. During that finale. Okay, well, this morning, actually driving here. I got a call, and I found out my ex-fiance is getting married and is having a baby. Now, wait a second. There's closure. Skye's making the thing up. I know. I was trying to think if I could lie real quick and make something up. I would have lied. Yeah, Skye's saying. You guys, I'm a very honest person. I like that. No, we understand. We understand. But, you know, we're kind of wondering. You know, it's good, actually. I felt like, okay, that's final closure. Yeah. No, it is good, actually. Maybe it's a sign, you coming in here. It's just shocking.
Well, I mean, look at that. So I guess I can't admit when I'm wrong because I'm very honest. Yeah, hey, that's a good sign, right? Eddie, what do you think? I'm brutally honest. Why did you guys call the wedding off a year ago? I just didn't think he was the one. Well, obviously not. Yeah, he's not the one. I was having anxiety and I just... Yeah, he's not the one. Wow, that's unbelievable. He's not the one. I mean, that is really unreal. She's driving to this. She's driving to come to this. And she finds that out. Very emotional. But, you know, I think that that could be the deal. It's over. Yeah, it's closure. It's closure. You know, and it's almost like a sign as you're coming into this. It really is. I agree with Ashley. Sure, sure. So, okay, that was three questions from Dad. That was three questions from Dad. So now Stone is going to ask you. Stone is the bomb right here. Now, Eric, you've got to put that microphone right up to Stone. And Stone, go ahead and ask your question to Ruth. Let's say you fell for my dad and you became his girlfriend. How long would be considered too long for him to pop the question? Okay. Okay. Great question. That is definitely a tough question. That is a great question. Just to reiterate, if things worked out with Eric and you became his girlfriend, how long would be too long?
for him to pop the question all right well i don't think that there can be a specific time frame that you can put on it but i definitely think you reach a point in a relationship where you either move forward or you call it quits so i think as long as things are going well and we know we're moving in the right direction and we know we're going to be together it could be forever as long as you know you're moving in the right i mean there's got to be a time well there just comes a point i think definitely what is that point I don't know. How long is that? Yeah, you can't. Would it be two years? Would it be six months? What if I think like if you're together for five years and have kids and that's... There we go. There's a problem. That's good. That's an answer. That's at least an answer. About five years. Sure. Hey, listen, I think that's extraordinarily patient, if you ask me. Sure. Okay, what's your next question, Stone? What is an embarrassing or annoying habit that you have? Oh, wow. Wow. An annoying habit. Sometimes I think my laugh is kind of annoying. Okay, so embarrassing or annoying. You say your laugh can be a little embarrassing. I can relate to that. Yes, Ashley was going to answer the same thing. And let's see, was that two or was that three questions? That was two. All right, Stone, what's your third question for Ruth? If things worked out with my dad, where would I fit in for you?
Would I be someone you had respect for, someone you would want to be friends with, or would you be more like a mom? Oh, wow. Things worked out with his dad. What are you going to be? What are you going to be? Are you going to be... I'm going to give this to you one more time. If things worked out with his dad, where would he fit in? Would he be someone that you had respect for? someone you would want to be friends with, or would you be more like a mom? Well, I definitely would have respect for you, just like I would hope that your dad would have respect for my son. And I think that the dynamics of the relationship, it just kind of depends on how things go. But if we were married, I would hope that we would act like a family and that you would have respect for me and I'd have respect for you. There you go. I love it. That's a very good answer. Solid. Solid answer. Very good.
Ruth, you had it rough. She is so ready to get out of that hot seat. How great did she do, though? She did great. She did great. Oh, my God. Julie is sitting down. Julie is 22 years old. She was from New Jersey, moved out to Ramona 20 years ago, and she's been here in San Diego ever since. And we are going to let Dad begin the questions with Julie. All right, Julie. If you could live out life. Of one woman in a movie, who would it be? Holy moly. The life of one woman in a movie. Oh, my gosh. Pretty women. I love that movie. Oh, my gosh. Julia Roberts. I'm not sure what movie, but her character is really strong. And she's smart. And I think that she would lead a good life. No, no, wait. You have the wrong movie. I think I have the wrong movie. You have the wrong movie. You have the wrong movie. It's the wrong movie. I don't know any of this. So I got the wrong movie. What's going on here? Everybody calm down. Wait. I think you're talking about Aaron Brockovich. Yeah. There you go. That's exactly what I was thinking. Aaron Brockovich. Aaron Brockovich. If you could live out the life of anybody, it would be Julia Roberts and Aaron Brockovich. Okay, cool, cool. Next question, Eric. Okay, what sort of marriage... Wait a minute, before we go on.
Tell me why. What's the matter with me? Why would you want to be Erin Brockovich? You know what? I don't know. That was a really hard question. Yeah, yeah. I just know that Julia Roberts, her character is really strong. She's smart. She seems like she's been there, done that. She knows. Got it. Got it. Eric, go ahead. That's right. What sort of marriage did or do your parents have? They are together after 20, oh gosh, close to 25 years. That's impressive. That's very good. They've been through their times. They've been through their times. So I've learned a lot from their relationship, and they always just support me and my brother in anything we do, and I think they have a great relationship. That's cool. And they're in Ramona? They are in Ramona. Very cool, very cool. Eric, next question. Next question. What's the most challenging part of a relationship for you? The most challenging part is, well, I've ran into people putting problems behind, not trying to, just ignoring them, not trying to get over them or past them. I like to talk about things, so. You're a good communicator. Yes, I would like to be a good communicator. I just haven't found that communicator. So what do you mean? So you mean in past relationships you've been a bad communicator. No, no, they've been the bad communicator. They have. Like everything just wants to be ignored.
pretend something else happened. Right. But you're the type of person that you think, hey, listen, if something's going... If there's a problem, we need to talk about it, fix it, compromise, do whatever it takes to get past it so it's not in the back of our heads so it doesn't come up later. Right. So you don't build up resentment. Got it. It's true. It's true. That's a great, great philosophy. And I got to say at 22 years old, that's really cool that you have figured that out. That took me to be 37 and three quarters to be able to figure out that that's actually the deal and that that's what should happen. But that actually is the deal. That's what you, that's great. Eric, do you have one more question for her or is that it? I think that was three. That was it. That was the third question. Perfect. Very, very well done. And now Stone. Gets to ask you three questions. Here comes the brutal ones. That's right. Stone, what do you got? You know how old I am, and you have a free gift card to any store you choose. What gift would you get me to suck up to my dad? What gift or what store would I take you to? What gifts? You see, because you know he's 10. You know he's 10.
And so you get a gift card to any store you want. What are you going to get him to suck up to dad? Let's see. If you like clothes, I'd totally buy you a new or whatever you wanted, wardrobe, whatever. I would totally. See, the hard part about this is you have to figure it out. You can't ask. Remember the things we talked to him about? He's 10. Look at his hat. You know what? I would totally a quad. A clod. A clod. Take you out in Ramona. Hey, listen. Yeah, Stone's eyes just lit up. It'd be a fun time. Dang. Yeah, Stone's like, I think I know which girl, Dad. Awesome. Go ahead, Stone. What's your next question? How important is money to you? Wow. Wow. Fantastic. Money, it's not everything, but it definitely, you do need it to survive. You do need it to, um, make ends meet these days and it's not everything but it definitely it need you need to have some goals and a good so what a guy does for a living is that important to you it it is it is so what would be something that's good what would be something that's bad you know something like long term not just something that could end in a couple days not one not like a career like a career yeah
Like Rob is a belly dancer and that could end at any time. We all know that that could end at any time. The more beer the guy drinks. Yeah, the belly starts to distend. Yeah, they have to have the goal. They have to have the willingness to... Very good. That's fair. Very good. And you should have a third question, right, Stone? Do you have a third one? What are three non-negotiable... Non-negotiable. Non-negotiable traits. Every man must have an order for them to be your type of man. Let's see. Respect. Compromising, caring, being talkative, communication, and definitely family-oriented. There you go. Very nice. That was like 12 things. Yeah, that's good though, right? I mean, the more, the better. What, Chantel? Go ahead. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's pretty good. Now, do you ladies, raise your hand if you do, do you ladies have any questions for Eric? Oh, whoa. I have butterflies and I don't know why. My stomach. Do you guys have any questions? Nope. It doesn't look like the ladies. Unless you do. Wait, wait. Do you? Do you, Julie? Do you have a question? Julie, it looked like you did. You don't? Are you sure? Who does? Come over. Come over. Jennifer's got a question.
Go ahead, Jennifer. What are you looking for in a woman? Great question. Good question. Thanks for asking. You know, I'm looking for somebody who is independent, you know, flexible, able to adapt to changes in life. Somebody who's driven, you know, maybe not necessarily successful yet, but on the right path, confident. And somebody who will genuinely respect me and my son together and work together in that direction. Thank you. Any of the other ladies? Yep, yep, yep. Come over, Ruth. Come on, Julie. You better think of something. Go ahead, Ruth. What's your question? So you asked me where I would fit into your life and what my relationship would be like with you. And I just wonder if things worked out with you. your dad and me, where would me and my son fit in? That's a question for Stone. Stone, what do you think? He's a hard one. And how old is your son? He's three. He's three. Wait, so how would me and your son work out? Yeah, what would it be like if things worked out between Ruth and your dad? How do you think that you would be kind of like having a three-year-old brother and having this new mom? He'd have to be nice and
Appreciative to me. Uh-huh. Respectful. Yeah. Yeah. But you'd be like the older brother, so you've got to kind of look out for him. Yeah. Do you think you could be nice to him? Yeah, I would be nice to him. I'd look after him. Teach him some stuff. I'd teach him how to do stuff. That's cool. What kind of things would you teach him? I might take... If he knows how to skateboard, I'll teach him how to. That's cool. That's awesome. That's pretty nice, right? That's very nice. That's pretty nice. All right. Anybody else? Anybody else? Okay. Here comes Julie. Julie's like, let me ask. Let me ask. Let me ask. Okay. So where do you see yourself maybe 10 years down the line with family, with where you want to be? Okay. 10 years down the line, I see myself. living life kind of how we live it right now, which is, you know, we're successful, we're happy, very positive. You know, we spend a lot of time with our family. I've got my brother close to me. I've got my mom close to me, my dad close to me. And it's nice. We all see each other often. And I'm really looking to find somebody who has that same sort of relationship with their families, you know, and bring everybody together. So I guess, you know, we'd be doing the same kind of things that we're doing today.
But with a bigger group of people. There you go. I love it. I love it. I love it. Here is what we're going to do. We're going to take a quick time out. And we are going to take the ladies. And we're going to put the ladies in Ashley's studio. And we are going to have Stone and Eric talk. And see what they think. So let's have the ladies. This is going to be a tough choice. Let's have the ladies go into Ashley's studio. And they're going to have to make a choice. It's really going to be tough for them because those three ladies were cool, man. They're pretty cool. Pretty cool. So, uh, they're very pretty. Very pretty. We'll be back after this. Doomsday King, Infused Fish, please. Rock 1053. Thank you for calling Washington, D.C. How may I direct your call? All right. Here is what we're going to do. We're going to bring the ladies back into the room now. We are doing something called a single dad setup. What we did was we wanted to do something for single dads. Got Father's Day on Sunday. We want to be able to set a single dad up on a date. And we decided on a bachelor named Eric. He's 35 years old. He's got a 10-year-old son named Stone. And both of them are real good guys. And we were actually just learning about Eric. A whole bunch of stuff that we didn't know that the ladies would probably think is kind of cool. Oh, I know. Eric runs five miles a day. And he has also been doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for how long, Eric? About five or six years. About five or six years. And he actually knows a bunch of UFC guys. That's right, who I work with. Yeah, that you work with. Yeah, I'm a mixed martial arts photographer. And, you know, so I work with guys. You know, Ken Shamrock, Randy Couture, Anderson Silva, a lot of the big guys. Yeah, I don't want to drop names, but those are the guys that I work with and have good relationships with. That's awesome, dude. That's very cool. Wow, can I date you? We get to go see a couple of cool fights while we're doing it. Yeah, for sure, for sure. Okay, well, I can tell you this. This was not a no-brainer. There was much debate. There was much debate about all three women.
kind of cool about the process was that all three women were very, like, equal. There wasn't someone that was out or someone that was very in. It was an equal discussion about all three because I think that he genuinely saw something in each woman. I think even now he's not entirely sure who he's going to say. Because there was no decision made. Oh, yeah. I don't know who he's choosing. I don't know either. I don't know who he's choosing. You know, he asked for input. We gave him input. Him and Stone had a little back and forth there for a little bit. That's right. That's right. And so, Eric, have you made your decision? It looks like Stone's made a decision. And so did you leave it ultimately up to Stone? You know what? I wasn't going to. We were going to go 50-50 on it. But I am going to leave it up to Stone. Yeah. Stone. I trust him. Because we didn't come up with something. And, you know, I know my son's got all the values that he needs to make a good decision. Right. Nice. So I'm going to leave it in his hands. Let's put the microphone up to Stone. And I'm going to have Stone tell everyone who it's going to be that your dad's going to go on a date with. And then after you tell us, I want you to tell us why that person. So who is it? Ruth has a giant smile on her face right now. I'm in shock. It's going to be Ruth. I'm in shock.
And tell us, why is it going to be Ruth, Stone? She seems like a really nice person. And she seems respectful to me. That's cool. That's cool. You could tell when, you know, when we were in the break and all the discussion was going on, you could tell that Stone, as they were talking, he kept coming back to Ruth. He kept coming back to Ruth. And there was something that just kept bringing, you know, Ruth. But come have a seat, Ruth. Ruth, what was the discussions like with the ladies in the other room? What was going on in there? Because we didn't know what was going on there. We saw all you ladies in there, but we didn't know what you guys were talking about. We were all a little nervous. Actually, we were all looking at pictures of Ashley's puggle. We are so sorry. I'm really sorry. I had to tell them about my kids. Oh, that is awful. And they wanted to see a picture. So basically their day is ruined. Exactly. So I showed them. We are so sorry. So, Ruth, are you surprised? I'm excited. You're excited? I'm excited. Very, very cool. I'm very excited. And it seemed like you had a pretty good rapport with both Eric and with Stone. So that's very cool. Now, as we were going through each individual girl, there were definitely things that we saw that could...
potentially be good and things that we saw that could potentially be a challenge. And the challenge obviously was that this morning you were crying over the news of your ex-fiance now being married and having a kid. His wife is pregnant or something. And it's the thing that brought you to tears. What made you cry the last time? It turned out it was that and it was this morning. So, you know, how can you sort of put Eric's mind at ease about that. Cause I think any guy and any woman too, I mean, if it, if the thing were reversed and you were a bachelorette and you were in here and you were talking to three different guys and one of the guys seemed absolutely dynamic and awesome and attractive and all that stuff worked. But he said to you, you know, the last thing that really upset me was my ex. She got married and you know, I understand that she's going to have a baby now. You would be like, wow, really? So talk to us about that.
Well, I guess what I could say to reassure you is that we broke up over a year or almost a year ago, actually. And I called off the wedding. So the reason I called it off is because I am hoping to find the right person. My parents have been married for almost 30 years. And I guess in our relationship, I didn't see what they have. So that's what I want. This is a tough question, but I got to ask this. Have you stayed in communication with him? Only because I'm trying to get my name off of his loans. He has co-signed his truck and we are engaged in some other stuff, but that's it. Got it. Okay, so it's like more of a business relationship than anything else. Right. Got it. How close are you to resolving those kinds of things so that maybe there would be no more reason to be talking to him? Well, since I found out he's getting married, I'm hoping that she'll co-sign and get my name off. So I think that I'll be able to get it taken care of in the next couple of months. That would be good. That would be good. And one more time.
How old is your child? Jackson's three. And he's your son, so he's three years old. And very cool. So Dusini's is going to set you guys up tonight. Love it. You guys are going to go out to dinner tonight, and I'm actually going to be right around the block from you guys. Thank you. Yeah, I'm going to be right around the block from you guys. In fact, Zeth, do you have the info on that? Because if you don't right now, it's okay. Okay, it's all good. It's all good. I think we should talk to him on Monday and see how it went. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. And so very, very cool. Really, really, really do think it's really awesome that you guys came in here today. And hopefully you guys had a really good time. I just want to say thank you. We did. Thank you. Absolutely. Thank you. And I also want to say thank you to Jennifer and to Julie who came in today. Hot numbers, fellas. I mean, they're available. Seriously. For sure. Good stuff over there. Okay, Eddie. I'm just saying. Okay. This is the Mikey Show. Get downloads and podcasts at rock1053.com. And I look pretty good in them. Hopefully. But on this treadmill, they're a pain. That's why I'm so glad I discovered one day AccuView moist brand contact lenses. You discovered them, AccuView discovered them, and I talked you into trying them. We're road warriors. You know. Long days, lots of miles, working out at the hotel gym. I'd pretty much given up on my contact lenses because they were so uncomfortable. I was the same way. But running and working out in glasses is an even bigger pain. So after I beat him on a run one day... My glasses fogged up. I said enough is enough. We're going to try one day AccuView Moist brand. What a relief. These new contact lenses feel great even at the end of the day. And they've got Lacryon technology, a major breakthrough that embeds in moisture that stays in the lens throughout the day. Wow, Sky, love is in the air. Oh, wow. Oh, it's beautiful. Mike, can you turn down my microphone? And see, all they need, Sky. Thank you. Radios just blew up around San Diego. That was scary. My headphones almost blew out. Anyway. Anyhoo, all they need now is a nice pair of sunglasses, and they'll be perfect. Oh, yeah. So what you want to do, you're headed out to the U.S. Open this weekend. Have you guys seen my sunglasses? No. I want to have some. You got to bring them in. They're really awesome. We've got some guests in the studio, some P1s that won the opportunity to come into the studio, so it's nice to have them in here today. Oh, yeah, them too. Okay, Shawnee, it's not very nice, Shawnee. Not at all. Can we get the light situation adjusted in here? Is it just too big? Well, it's, yeah, it's, I'm not used to the fluorescent lights being on. We do that so that we can tape stuff, but it's just, it blinds me with science. On the phone with us right now. You know him best as Mini-Me. Yes, I'm on the phone. He's starring in the new movie The Love Guru with Mike Myers. Oh, yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, Vern Troyer. Vern. Hi, guys. How are you doing? Not too bad. How are you guys? I'm good, Vern. It's good to have you on the show. Oh, thank you. Yeah, it's nice to have you. Actually, our producer, Eddie, knows you. He's partied with you before. Oh. I wouldn't say we know each other, but...
Vern, you came to San Diego once for this radio promotion one of my old stations did. It was a 70s night right around the Austin Powers height, and you threw out the first pitch at a Padres game, and then I took you out afterwards. Oh, okay, yeah. That was actually a great time. Yeah, it was. We had a really good time from what I remember. There you go. Vern drank me under the table. How about that? Because I'm already under the table. There you go. Vern was best known as Mini Me. And Vern, how did that come about? Let's go back to the Austin Powers and hit on that stuff first. How did that come about for you? Well, I got a call and Jay Roach, the director, had wanted to meet with me because he heard about me through some casting people. And, you know, I was doing a movie called Instinct at the time with Anthony Hopkins playing a baby gorilla. Excuse me. No way. Yeah. And I got a break and I met with him and he thought I was perfect. Like two days later, I got the job. Wow. That's awesome. And obviously this relationship with Mike Myers has continued.
But, yeah, Mike's a great guy, and, you know, I love working with him. This role of mini-me, when you do the mini-me, Vern, how tall are you? I'm 2'8", 30 inches. 2'8". 2'8". And so what was the process? What do they do? They got to make you and Mike Myers all the same clothes. You guys wear the same clothes throughout the movie. And what do they do? They just measure you up, and they get you all fitted in these suits. Yeah, yeah. Just to get it set up to, you know, proportionally be my size. All right. And this new movie, what is your role in the new movie with Mike Myers? I play the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Coach Cherkov. That is hysterical. Nice. That is hysterical. You're coaching the Maple Leafs? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's great.
That's great. And what's the best and worst thing about being on The Surreal Life? Because I don't know if people know, but he was on The Surreal Life VH1. And what was the best and worst thing about that for you? What did you like and not like about that experience? Well, I'm just going to say that, you know, I've learned a lot since then. I've taken better care of myself and, you know, just, you know, kind of looking towards the future. And, you know, I just feel so much better. as far as health was. Right. That's cool. So, it seems like, Vern, you have your pretty fair share of celebrity friends. Who is the biggest name in your cell phone right now? My cell phone. Yeah. He's taking a look. I guess Colin Farrell. Colin Farrell is in your cell phone. Nice. Okay, now, did you guys work together on a movie or did you meet him somewhere? No, we work together on a film. Work together on a film. And so when you're working together with somebody on a movie, how does the conversation happen where you get the digits? Like, what's that like? When does it happen and what was the conversation? Do you remember? Yeah, well, I mean, it was cool. I mean, we were, I met him, you know, when we were filming.
You know, we had a little bit of a break in between. So, you know, we actually hooked up and went to the aquarium, you know, hung out. And, you know, just kind of he got my number, I got his to, you know, stay in touch and, you know, meet up and have dinner or do whatever. Okay, now wait a minute. So you're saying that you went to an aquarium together. Like in your off time, you guys decided, hey, there's an aquarium. Where were you? What city? This was in Vancouver. Okay, so you're in Vancouver, and you guys probably heard that there's a big aquarium there. Yeah, it's dolphins and everything. Okay, now wait a second. I got to imagine to the Canadians that are just hanging out at the aquarium, it's got to be a bit of a sight to see Colin Farrell and Vern Troyer walk in. Yeah. We actually got to do the private tour, which was good. Okay. Of course. Yeah, that sounds good. That sounds good. That's a good idea. And so do you remember, did Colin say to you or did you say to Colin, hey, man, let me get your number? Well, basically, we wanted to set up the time and place. So, you know, we just exchanged numbers so that we could do that. Do you guys still talk? Yeah. That's pretty cool.
I mean, the whole celebrity's in your cell phone. You just pick up the phone if you want to. Hey, Colin, what's up? It's interesting. It's just like a close friend. It isn't really any different except for he's a big-time movie star. Yeah, that is a pretty big difference, though, Vern. You've got to admit. I do not have Colin Farrell's number on myself. I don't. I don't. You didn't call him Jones. Yes, exactly. Oh, yeah. Hey, Vern, that's a good question. When you have celebrities in your cell phone, do you have to call them something different so that if people were to, if you lost your cell phone, people wouldn't be calling them? Yeah, but I also, I have a passcode on my phone, so you can't use it unless I let you. Oh, that's a good idea. That's probably a good idea. Okay, so Vern, we're talking to Vern Troyer. He's going to be in the new movie Love Guru with Mike Myers. He was Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movies. Is the Mini-Me character something that you are sick of and you wish went away? No, I don't wish it went away because if it never happened, I wouldn't be at the place where I'm at now. Is it annoying at times for people to, hey, Mini-Me, Mini-Me? Yeah, it is. It comes with the territory.
You know, I correct them as soon as they say it. And, you know, I've even had some people, you know, call me Mini-Me and I ask them, you know, what's my real name? And, you know, they say that they're my biggest fan and they don't even know my name. Right. They only know you as Mini-Me. Is it true, Vern, that you married a supermodel in 2004 and got the marriage an old? She wasn't a supermodel. She was a... Like a lingerie bikini model. How did you guys meet? At the Playboy Mansion. At the Playboy Mansion. How long did you know each other before you got married? I was with her for like two and a half years. Wow. So you guys dated for two and a half years, and you got married, and then you got the marriage annulled? Yeah. Why annulled? Foolish mistake, kind of like a... You know, a Vegas trip almost. But it was two and a half years, Vern. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. And, you know, I guess it slapped me right in the head when I got married. What do you mean? What do you mean? It just wasn't the same. It wasn't the same after you got married? Yeah. Wow. Why annulled instead of divorce? Because it was only five days into it.
It was only five days into the marriage. I got you. I got you. So five, what happened in five days, Vern, that was so different? Wow, dude. Dude, what happened? It's a very, very long story. I got time. I got enough time on the spot. Okay. I don't know. All right. Well, listen. Okay. Well, The Love Guru opens next Friday. So a week from today, The Love Guru opens. And his name is Vern Troyer. You know him better as Mini-Me. And he's in this new movie with Mike. He's being reunited with Mike Myers. And Vern, we appreciate you taking the time to come on. Oh, thank you guys for having me. All right, man. We'll talk to you later. Okay, take care. We'll see you. That is such an interesting thing, man. What happens? What on earth? Happens in five days. Like, usually when you say, like, you know, we got married and, oh, it just wasn't the same. Yeah. That's after a couple of years. Yeah. Five days. Five days. And normally when you say, oh, a cookie Vegas wedding, you, like, met that person a week prior. No, two and a half years. They did two and a half years. Matt is crazy. Oh, okay. All right, we got to take it. Like, sobriety happened. Yeah, maybe that was it. Yeah. Quick time out. We'll be back after this. It's the Mikey Show.

The Mikey Show. It's another Mikey moment. We're talking to Duff McKagan from Velvet Revolver, and the band is still together. They're looking for a lead singer because Scott... Well, first, let's go back to that. Why did Scott leave? Actually, we fired him. Why did you guys fire him? It was a tough year on tour. Small Habits came back with him, and... Is it impossible to... talk with him about it when it's going on? Is it impossible to pull him over and go, hey, bro, you got to get it together through this tour? It became impossible. But, you know, for Slash and I, we've just been through enough in our lifetime. Oh, man, the luck with the lead singers with you guys. Yeah, I think, you know, I don't know what we did in a past life. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3.
Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It's 930. United and U.S. Airways has now joined American Airlines in charging you for your first piece of checked luggage. NBA Finals last night. What a comeback for the Celtics, who were down by 24 at one point, came back to win. Game four now, three games to one over the Lakers. Yeah. Thank you so much to Divine Postability. I'm telling you, it's Chantel's favorite. She just loves it. And we love it too, man. It's bread stuffed with stuff that tastes good. Well said. Pasta. It's bread with pasta. Well said. I'll take spaghetti and meatballs. I'll stuff it in a piece of bread. It's like garlic bread. Yeah, like picture like a loaf of French bread if they hollowed out the middle of it and they stuck a bunch of spaghetti and meatballs in there and you ate it. Oh, so good. It's crazy, but it's so good. It's delicious.
So let me give you some info on them. If you want to, you can go to their website, torpasta.com. T-O-R-P-A-S-T-A.com is their web address. They're located at 3545 Midway Drive, San Diego. They got a special offer going on for P1s. Really? P1s go in there and tell them that they're a P1. They get 10% off. Oh, shoot. Do it. Very cool. Let's see. I am going to be out tonight and would love to meet anybody that would like to come down and support this event I'm doing tonight. I've been telling you about somebody that I know that has leukemia, and we're doing a benefit for him tonight. His name is Jerry. And we are going to be at the Tin Fish downtown tonight, and I'm going to be emceeing this thing.
Starts at 730. It's downtown at the Tin Fish. That's 176th Avenue tonight. Now, here's the deal. They were selling tickets online, and they're not doing that anymore. All the tickets are available at the door. So if you just come down there tonight, you can get tickets at the door. Tickets are $35 to get in there. Tonight, Tin Fish. And we're going to be doing raffles and stuff like that. Well, first of all, just so that you know. When you pay the money to get in there, it's going to include food, non-alcoholic beverages, and you're also going to be able to get in on some pretty cool stuff that we're doing there tonight. We've got a raffle going on for a $5 ticket and some of the stuff that they're going to be giving away. DC, Volcom, Quicksilver Gear, Padres Memorabilia, week-long timeshares at Big Bear and Tahoe.
This is all to raise some dough, to cover some medical bills for Jerry Hurt. He's a friend of ours, and he's a good guy, man. He's a really good guy. Awesome! So, love to see you tonight at the Tin Fish, downtown 176th Avenue, tonight at 7.30. I'll be there, MCN, and I would love to meet P1s that would come down there and donate to this. It'd be cool. Hey, Zach, did they, uh... Did they say if they're getting that video put up there, did you see anybody up there? What's going on with the video? Yeah, they have it. They're pulling it, converting it, and they're going to let me know as soon as they get it on. There you go. Yeah, you're going to be able to see the video of the single dad setup. Nice. Fun. Yeah, we taped the single dad setup. You'll be able to watch that. It should be pretty cool. Yep.
And also Battle of the Sexes, which got a little out of control today. Well, you will not be seeing Battle of the Sexes. Oh, you won't? It didn't take? It did, but it only tapes an hour. The thing tapes an hour, and all the stuff went so long. Oh, yeah. We went way longer than an hour. Yeah, we went way longer than an hour. Oh, next week. Yeah. That's a little disappointing, considering the huge, huge win. Ever. I mean, it was a thing of beauty to watch. It was like poetry. Really? What it was was it was a guy calling a shot. You know, he said, you know, I'm going to put it over that left field wall and then he knocked it right out there. It was the bottom of the night. It was a walk off home run. He told Little Timmy, he said, two home runs? I'm going to hit two home runs. Enough already. Thanks. And then he did it. Thank you. He hit three, in fact. That's right. He's taking it overboard. Yeah, but aren't you just honored to be sitting next to me at this point? Oh, okay. Not at all. Abby, you look perplexed, but not at all. I'm shocked. You shouldn't be. Wait a minute. Do I understand? Hold up. Wait a minute. What? Am I to understand this correctly, that today is Friday the 13th? Yes. Yeah.
It is. That means that our Friday the 13th blood drive is going on. Oh, you know it. Ashley's got... Ashley, do you have the little... Oh, wait. Now I do. Yep. Here's what I can tell you. This radio station is called Rock 105.3. Did you know that? Yeah. We're called Rock 105.3. And Rock 105.3 and Cricket Wireless. We're doing the blood drive again. It's here and it's going on today. And it's going to be at Cane's. Mission Beach. Yeah, it's going to start in 25 minutes. Hey, now. Down there at Keynes. Right by the beach. Yeah. Love it. Now, here's how it works. The first 105 successful donors. What does that mean, I wonder, successful donors? Like the people that don't pass out. Yeah, sometimes you don't qualify. If you're anemic like Rob, you can. Yeah. If you haven't eaten in 25 days like Rob, you can't do it. And I think something like if you've gotten a tattoo recently. I think in the last year, right? You have AIDS. If you have AIDS, you cannot do it. You cannot do it. And that's for real. And they're going to ask you a slew of questions if you go down there. They're going to ask you a slew of questions and see if you qualify or if you do not qualify. And if you do and you are a successful donor, you will get a ticket.
to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. A pair of tickets to San Diego Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, which, by the way, that's starting up real soon. Sick. When is it? Do we know? I think it's today. I think it's today. Is it? Are you serious? It's like the perfect storm going on right now with the U.S. Open and the fair. And the blood drive. And the blood drive. And the wind we just had. And the wind earlier. And me at the Tin Fish tonight for Jerry. It's like all these things are coming together. I could get corn from the Corn Brothers today. Oh, that's amazing. Hey, you want to come with me? It's right over there by the Del Mar thing you got to park by. We can swing in. I know that you would love nothing more than to pay $25 for one ear of corn and be on your way. I have to go sell sodas, Mike. You sound so stoked.
It's been a rough one already. Your charity must be so excited to have you. He's had a tough morning. What happened other than the amazing loss that happened for you? Sean has not stopped harassing me all morning long. Harassing? What do you mean? What does that even mean? I had to block him from my IMs because he kept sending me annoying instant messages. He was sending you instant messages just asking questions. That's all. He just wanted to know. Isn't Eddie amazing? Why does that bother you? You heard what happened. I heard like I wasn't here or something. In case you haven't heard, Skye. Shut up. Mike. She's seriously pissed. Oh, I know, I know. Don't let them pile on. Let me tell you something. Sean was driving her nuts. Sean was driving her nuts. Well, nobody, Mike, nobody remembers the team that gave up the home run to Babe Ruth. I mean, nobody cares about them. That's right. No idea. No idea. It's Babe Ruth's accomplishment that is highlighted. Right. So I'd be bummed too. I also wanted to let people know that if they give that blood and they are successful donors, they will receive a Rock 105.3 P1.
Blood Drive t-shirt. Yeah. I'm in now. Pretty cool. So they're going to be giving away KFC coupons for free buckets of chicken. That's cool. Right on. You want more details, go to rock1053.com, keyword blood. Say it. Say it. It's from San Diego's blood donation station. Still, I mean, how many years? How many years, how many stations? Yeah. How many years will we do Asian Station? You know, something Asian Station. That's our thing. That's what we do. But how many years is that going to be the thing? It works, man. Where they'll still have the voice guy going, from your flatulation station. Block 105.3. Well said. Nobody listens to me. I think we should reinvent everything. And people go, you're nuts, man. But that's me. I always like change. I always like change. But that, it's the donation station. No, no, no. What happened? From your donation station. Donation station. Let's go take two on that one. Come out of the record. Let's come out of the record. B.C., we're live. Click one more time. Come get out of the record. B.C., we're live. Three, two, one. Arnold. Arnold.
It's BC, Rock 105.3. Oh, no. Let's go one more time. You're live on the air. Oh, my God. Why can't he hear you? Oh, my God. What is this? Disturbed? What is this? Well, you're nothing now. I think this is exactly how BC is. We're coming out of Alice in Chains. Alice in Chains. Alice in Chains, Rock 105.3. It's BC. You're on the air. Can somebody get shot on the phone? Can somebody get shot on the phone? My crew is late. Excuse me. That was not... The fair opens tomorrow. Still bad. The fair opens up tomorrow. Tommy Lee says him and Pam Anderson are back together. Honestly. Who cares?
They have moved back in together, and it just makes them so happy to see the joy on their kids' faces. Whatever. Until they break up again and the kids are devastated again. Exactly. Well said. Right? Well, they've already shared every STD you could possibly share with each other. That's true. Very true. This is pathetic. I hope they stay together. I don't want them to keep doing it. I think you bring up a good point, Sky. I don't want that to keep happening to those. Poor kids. Exactly. Got to think about the kids, right? You do. Yes. This is a pretty interesting story. What is? Neil Diamond says that despite what people think, he does wear underwear. Is that a true story? Yep. I guess Neil Diamond was on The View, and one of the questions that was asked of him was whether he wears boxers or briefs, and he said neither. And so then everybody was like, oh, Neil Diamond doesn't wear underwear. Well, he has now had to clarify because he doesn't want people to think he doesn't wear underwear. He said he was actually kind of embarrassed by the question and didn't really want to answer the question because he was embarrassed. So he thought if he said neither, it would diffuse it. So if we must know, he says he wears boxer briefs. Oh, good choice. Guys, it's Neil Diamond. Hey, Neil. What's going on? First of all, that hour where those...
Bunch of windbags was the worst hour I ever spent in my whole life. Don't blame me there, Neil. I almost caught on fire from all the hot flashes that were going on. Yes. Estrogen stinks to high heaven, did you know that? Smells like an oak tree. Oh, I never knew that. You know, you bunch of pimps and hookers out there. Whoa, hey, you don't need to insult me. Bunch of pimps and hookers listening out there. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something right now. Ludes don't lead to nothing. I don't think anybody takes ludes anymore. I don't even know what that is. All you kids sitting there opening up those Schlitz malt liquors and drinking those. Nobody drinks that nowadays. Taking all your quaaludes and growing your hair out long. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Tell me something. Take a bath. You're all a bunch of stinky...
puker hippies. You're all living out in the middle of the desert and making campfires and singing songs. Hari Krishna bunch of jerks. You're all making me sick. You're a bunch of glue sniffing upper and downer taking. Shave your pits. It's gross. You smell like B.O. All you teenagers stink like sweat. You're all a bunch of teen sweaters. You sweat with your sweats all the time. Put on some clothes, will you? All you girls down there in Pacific Missions and stuff. Put on your clothes. Put clothes on. You stink like sweating old tomatoes. That's really gross. That's Neil Diamond. He is not with it. Oh my gosh. Hey, the details of Celebrity Family Feud have been announced. What? Everybody's been waiting. Yeah, what is it? Yeah, wait. Who's on Celebrity Family Feud? Well, it will debut, Mike, on July the 1st. It will be hosted by Al Roker. What? I mean, of all people. That's a mistake. That's the worst. One more time. Of all people. No, stop it.
You know why Al, I think, is the wrong choice? It's because he's too nice. Like, there's nothing dangerous about him. When it was, who was the guy that used to kiss all the ladies? Richard Dawson. Dawson, come on, man. He was dangerous, man. He could have jumped over that table any second and started kissing those ladies. And Louie Anderson, you don't know what's going on there. You never know what he's going to do. Creepy. Yeah. So some of the celebrity guests will include the Kardashians, Larry the Cable Guy, Vivica A. Fox, Monique, Ice-T, Joan Rivers, Ed McMahon, Kathy Lee, Dr. Bounty Hunter. All right. Shut the front door. Anybody in on any of these? Dog and Al Roker in the same room? We should go on. No way. Folks, I have the first question. We'll start with Eddie for Celebrity Family Feud. Are you ready, Eddie? I'm ready. Come on, Eddie. Name the person on the Mikey Show most likely to eat ham. Eddie. Sky. You say Sky. Survey set. Good answer. Yes, we want to play. And we will go next to Ashley. Yeah, Ashley. Ashley. Mikey Show. Family. Thank you. Thank you. Ashley has her hand over the buzzer. You got this, Ashley. Take your opponent.
Ashley has her hand over the buzzer, and she is shaking hands with Eddie. Eddie is her opponent, and you guys buzz in when you have an answer. Buzz in when you have an answer. Are you ready? Yes. Okay. The question is, name a person on the Mikey Show who is extraordinarily short. Ashley. Yes. Boston Rob. Put it on the board. Put it on the board. Number one. Number one answer. Okay. Who's on your team, Ashley? Who's on your team? Skye and Chantel. We'll go over to the beautiful Skye. Skye, how are you today? A little kiss for Richard. He's never going to let it go, Mike. CPR stuff.
Is over. Slightly open. Please. CPR stuff. I mean, on the air and off the air. Is over. No more from you. Just a little lengua. Little lengua. Skye. Yes. Skye, the question here is, person on the Mikey show most likely to dress as a panda? Come on, Skye. Person on the Mikey show most likely to dress like a panda. Well, it's weird because the guy who controls the sound effects to let me buzz in is the guy who dresses most like a panda, which is Sean. It's not the buzz in phase right now. This isn't the buzz in phase. You're just supposed to give an answer. Yeah, you already buzzed. She buzzed in. Well, everybody else. Everybody else buzzes. That means it's your team. Ashley buzzed in before she won. That means it's your team. Give her the X. Then you get to answer the... It should have been the same question. She has an answer. It should have been the same question. It should have been the same. Steal. Eddie, go ahead. I'm ready for another question. Okay, your question is... Are we going to play right? No, we're going to cheat again. Like Battle of the Sexes. The weirdest game of family feud ever. Ever. I don't even know.
Name the person on the show most likely to call Kaiser. That's a very easy one, Mike. That would be Sky. Eddie says Sky, and the survey says... I haven't had Kaiser for like eight years, so why the heck would I call him? It's the number one answer. Eddie, stop saying that. Oh, this guy's begging her head against it. She can't take much more, you guys. I've got one hot dog and a small Pepsi. I know. A hot dog. Small Pepsi. You guys. Hey. Yeah. This is Diet Pepsi. I ordered a Pepsi. Guys, for real. On the reals. I ordered a Pepsi over here. Regular. Hey. What is this? What is this? Hey, gal. This is a styrofoam cup, by the way. There's seagulls out here. Chantel. Chantel, you've got to do something. It's a U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. It's going to snap. What is it? There's seagulls around here.
Hey, lady with the super high ponytail. Leave her alone. What's the deal? Leave her alone now. Sean's so dead, dude. You're in trouble. She got her head on. She's so checked out. Yeah, it's going down on a farm in Tennessee. Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Raconteurs, lots of big bands. Bonnaroo. Yeah. Here's Lars talking about the Metallica fans at Bonnaroo. Cut 61. I think they're going to hang out and enjoy themselves and have a good time and get drawn into the whole atmosphere there. It would surprise me if they didn't. And there'll be a couple that will show up and then leave. We've tried to encourage them.
We encourage our fans over the years to be as open to things as we are in terms of music and in terms of experiences and so on. And some of them get it and some of them don't want to know. I can't tell people what to do or think. We're going to have Sarah McLaughlin do Hero of the Day because we're into different things. We want people to be able to not just experience Metallica from necessarily our perspective but from Sarah's. Oh, I wouldn't expect that, Lars. It's going to sound pretty cool. I'm going to play a didgeridoo. Yeah. Why not? We're into different styles. Yeah. We're going to do Sandman on the bagpipes and different sorts of flutes. That doesn't sound good. That doesn't sound good at all. It does? Yeah. Metallica on, or Lars on Metallica fitting into that vibe. Cut 62. Obviously, I know how it started, and there's a lot of people that are sort of protective of its origins, and we certainly appreciate and respect that. I know, you know, here comes the big, bad metal band, and they're going to f*** up the peaceful jam band hippie vibe, but it's, you know, nothing is that black and white. There'll be a lot of people who've never experienced Metallica before, and I think that most of them are going to get off on it. I have a feeling that Metallica is a band.
That those dudes could literally be in their 60s and still sound as good playing live. I think they're one of the best sounding live bands ever of all time. One of the worst sounding live bands to me was Led Zeppelin. They used to do stuff that didn't sound like it. It didn't really sound like a Led Zeppelin. Whoa. Statement. Statement. You saw them? Well, I've seen. I've seen a film. Mike was at their first show. I've seen a film of them. Oh, that's cool. Song remains the same. Sky, I heard that the captain and Tennille are going to be doing face painting at Bonnaroo. That's really good, dude. When they do, it's supposed to be awesome. Is that true? I didn't read that, so I cannot confirm nor deny that. I heard that Neil Sedaka is going to be doing a reading of James Frey's My Friend Leonard on one of the side stages out there. Which I think is really going to be amazing to see him do it. Make sure you check out Vic K. Back's Pigs in a Blanket. That's amazing. They are so good. It's so amazing when he does that. It's really great. I think he's cooking them fresh out there. Okay. It's weird. Boston Rob got his teeth operated on.
Hi, Robbie. That's right. Can't laugh too hard. Can't laugh too hard. Skye, what movies are coming out this weekend? We got two movies out today. I want to go. I want to go to Robbie. Be cool. You want to go to a movie? I really do. I really want to go to the movies bad. Why don't you? I'm going to go to two movies this weekend. Oh. No, you're not. I am. What? Well, the two that are coming out. Oh. The first one is The Incredible Hulk. Yes. For sure. Which I saw and I thought was really good. Skye. Yeah. I watched the trailer of it. Yeah. On the Apple TV at home. Yes. But to me, the Hulk still looked cartoony. Yeah. Cartoony. Yeah. I mean, I don't know how they would accomplish that without making it look cartoony. That's why. You know, it's not like Iron Man. It's probably not going to be for you. Yeah. It's definitely not for you. I don't think it is. Yeah. But this one will be... I'll slap your mouth. Wait, wait, wait. Before we go on, let's play a clip. Let's hear a clip from The Incredible Hulk. In an attempt to save New York City from the monster Abomination. Oh, yeah. That's the name of the monster Abomination? Yeah, Tim Roth, dude. Bruce Banner, played by Ed Norton, decides to jump out of a helicopter in hopes of turning into the Hulk,
despite Betty's pleas, and Betty's played by Liv Tyler. And then he makes him bite the curb, and he kicks his face into the curb. No, that's American History X. That's a different movie. That's a different movie, Eddie. Are you sure? A different movie completely. Cut 12. Doesn't he have to get mad to turn into the Hulk? Oh, he'll get mad. He'll get mad jumping out of a tank? Well, you have to get your heart rate up. So if you're jumping out with no shoot, I mean. Okay. I thought that it was all about getting angry. I did too. But it's just about getting your heart rate up. So he could do yoga and be like.
I'm the Hulk. Right? You can get on a Stairmaster. And we're dog. Hello. Squatting pigeons. Do a couple sun salutations. Oh, yeah. You shoot the dog. By the way, not a move. It's called a crow, Rob. Boarding crab. Not a move. Barking spider. I've heard that. I've seen Ashley. It is a move. You can just stop that. The gassy moo moo. The mud dog. Oh, no. Oh, the backwards radish. What? All right. And also out today, The Happening. Oh, that looks scary. Rob. No, it's not. What's happening? Yeah, what's happening? No, no, no. Again, no. We're friends today, Rob. No, we are. Remember, it was very cool to you while you were recovering. Yeah, and you had a heroic. Save today. Thank you. That's very true. To each their own, Rob. Here's Elliot, played by Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Alma. Played by Zooey Deschnell. Yeah. And they're starting to panic because there's a mysterious plague hitting the East Coast. Cut 15. She made it out of the bus.
Oh my gosh. There's an Indian guy sitting on that park bench over there. What is going on? Why is there an Indian guy for absolutely no reason sitting on that park bench? There's different people in different places in the world. Why is the Surgeon General an Indian guy? Why not? We're in America. But he's a terrible actor. Yeah, why is there a really bad acting Indian guy? Did you not see him in signs? Driving the bus right now. Making a cameo. That's what he was talking about. You guys don't get it. So, Eddie, are you going to see that this weekend? I'm going to go see it for sure. Probably tomorrow. Cool. After, shoot me a text and just let me know if it is global warming. I would see it, but I want to see if it is global warming. Because if it is, I will send you a text. If that's the happening, the happening is global warming. Okay, Rob, I will send you a text. So it's attacking the East Coast. Okay, Rob. I'm done. But if gas prices in the beginning of the movie start at $2.25. Easy. By the end of the movie, they're like $4.90. Da-na-na.
I'm done. I'm done. Good. You better be. You better be. Okay, time to go. Testimony? Here is Mark Wahlberg talking about M. Night Shyamalan. Cut 17. I think Night cast me because of my strong faith. But then we do a take. He'd be like, that was great. What were you thinking about? I was like, Jesus. He's like, oh, we got to do it again. But obviously, you know, yeah. I think he cast me because of my faith. Somebody asked me why Elliot survived. Because he has so much faith and hope. What's the deal? Wahlberg's a believer? Catholic. Catholic? Really? That's cool. I didn't know that. I thought he said strong face. That guy does get a strong face. I got a strong face. Got strong features. It's true. Dominant in any role, to be honest. Look at his face! You love him. He's from Boston. We get it. If he was from Miami, he'd be Marky Mark. He'd make fun of him. Like everybody else. That's right.
Any other movie or is that it? That's it. That's two. I'm going to see them both. Me too. Well, I got to see Indy Jones first. Well, first you got to see Lars, the real world. Lars and the real world. DVD. Oh, no. Whatever. Lars on the real world? Lars and the real world. I can't even believe I'm in this house. Bunch of strangers on MTV. What am I doing here? Oh, my God. My face. It will make me laugh. It hurts my holes. You guys want to hear audio of a couple of dudes that are storm chasers in South Dakota caught in a tornado? Well, that's what they get for chasing it. You know who does that? You know who does that? Who? Boy Blender. Clown. When we were in Dallas. What? Like, he doesn't realize. Those dudes that chase storms, like, they know, they've been doing it a little while. Yeah, they know what they're doing. That's what they do. You know, they've been doing it a little while, and even though the storms are unpredictable, they kind of have some data. Yes. Idiot. That they sort of, you know, put together to be able to chase these tornadoes. He ain't driving a cabriolet. Right. But boy blunder in Texas when it was tornado season.
If he heard about a tornado, the guy would go get in his truck and go drop, you know. They would have tornado alarms for the entire city go off. That's scary. That guy goes and jumps in his car, chases it down. No video camera. Just go look at it. You just want to look at it. That's crazy. Well, you know, if you think about it, it kind of makes sense because, you know, there's no way the tornado is going to be able to actually pick him up. I knew that. We all knew that. That's actually not true, Sean. I don't know if you saw that documentary, Twister. That's not a documentary. That's a real. He goes flying across. That's a cow. I'm lying. What was that? That was a weird sound he made. I thought he was wearing a tuxedo. It's terrible. It's terrible. I thought he was eating Oreos. Stop it. I thought he was eating peanut butter. I'm so sorry. Please. So from KELOTV in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A couple of guys chasing a storm. They get caught in this tornado in Iowa.
No. Cut 19. Where is the rotation? We're in the rotation. Is someone going to take this? No, we're in the tornado. We're in the tornado. Our ears are popping. Our ears are popping. The tornado is right for us right now. The tornado just went over us. The tornado just went over us. In the tornado. We are in the tornado. Where are you guys? Release the bubbles. The tornado. Where are you? It's going by us. I don't know if you can hear me. It's going by us. It's going by us. It's going by us. It's going by us. Oh, my God. We just went through a tornado. I can't believe that. We just went through a tornado.
Guys, what did you just do? I don't believe them. I don't understand. I don't believe them. Well, wouldn't it have picked them up? I think they were in their mom's basement. Me too. They had, like, some bubble wrap. Yeah. And they went to town. I believe them. And they had some sound effects. Yeah. I totally believe them. Let's ask Helen Hunt. Well, halfway through it, you heard a woman go, Yo, guys. Mom. Mom, we're recording down here with a tornado. Mom, please stop calling me. You two can make your tornado, but keep it down. But your father's taking a nap right now. Don't be making the tornado sound so loud down there. Please stop calling me. All the way from the kitchen we can hear the tornado sound, son. You and your friends don't do the tornado anymore. Oh, my gosh. Very loud. You guys want to hear a CNN producer getting tased? Oh, yes. This ought to be good. CNN producer doing a segment on a taser trade show. Who knew? I didn't know they had taser trade shows, but apparently they do. And so the CNN producer, I'm not him. Uh-uh.
I'm not, but I definitely think that there's the producers that says, listen, this is going to get a lot of attention. That's just not, I'm not, I don't want to get tased. Right. Cut 22. There was basically a tasing booth, if you can believe it or not. There was law enforcement types and mostly prison corrections officers there lining up for the opportunity to get tased like this. That's a... Jim, Jim, are you out of your mind? You know, maybe a little bit, but you can't resist but wanting to find out what it feels like. That's 1,200 volts for five seconds. That's the typical charge. Wow. That was a trip. Is it going to be a sunny weekend here this weekend, Sky?
It's going to be nice weather. Yeah, please. You guys going to do, anybody going to do a grill out? Anybody going to have any hamburgers and hot dogs? Johnsonville Brats. Johnsonville Brats. Eat that stuff. I'm laying out this weekend if it's sunny. Here's a song about grilling out. No, it didn't. It sounds like a lot of acid, Mike, is what that sounds like. Now I'm going to play you Beach Blast because this is summertime. Get in the mood. Sometime starting, and I figure people want to get in the mood with a Beach Blast. Beach Blast. Okay. It really gets you fired up. I'm ready. It gets you all set for summertime. For sure. There you go. It's the sound of summer. It's on like Mission Beach right there. Every Friday night. You guys ready to go? This is the last call. Did I already say last call? Yeah. Get Tommy then. He's probably ready to go. Is he getting tased?
Tommy, when you're done, let's go, bro. Let's get out of here. We want to go downtown, dude. Hurry up. Hey, you want us to just wait or you want us to... He said no. He's still getting tased. All right, you stay here then. Take a cab, bro. Just text us when you're ready. Where's Tommy? He's having fun. He's getting tased. Let's see. We hit all the big stuff, I think. Sky, did we leave some big stuff out or are we good? 21 minutes. 21. That's the longest I think ever gone. It's pretty good. World record. It's pretty good. World record. Oh, Guinness. Yeah. Usually we end with tunnel, but I thought we would end with a love song this time. All of my life. I hope you guys like it. I don't like to. So beautiful. Sky, that's hot dog selling music right there. That's serious. That's some hamburger and hot dog stuff for you. Yeah. 570.
105.3 is the number. You can give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. And that means you. You rascal. Turkey. Call us right now. 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show. We'll take your calls. And that's where we are. I think we've done all this good stuff. Yep. We're good to go. Oh, here's one last one. Scott Weiland and Eric Kretz from Stone Temple Pilots. They're getting sued by Atlantic. Yeah, Atlantic is not happy. They filed a lawsuit yesterday saying that the two have threatened to stop performing and want to terminate their contract unless the label changes the contract. And I guess they're trying to use some California law, but the contract was signed in New York, and under New York law, they're not allowed to do that. So Atlantic Records has filed a lawsuit against them. Makes for a very nice working environment. Yeah, no kidding.
No kidding. And by the way, video of the dads is on the website. Oh, nice. First one is up. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, I had a meeting to go to. Who did the dad pick out of the girls? The dad picked Ruth, the 24-year-old girl who has a 3-year-old son. And it was actually his son Stone that decided. It's pretty cool. Nice. Yep. Mikey Show. Good morning, San Diego. Hey, it's P1 Sanjaya. What's up, brother? What's going on, dude? Hey, dude. I just wanted to congratulate the guys for winning. Oh, yeah. Sanjaya, did you hear that? Team Awesome Rock. How amazing was that? Hey. Yeah. You pulled it out of your beat. Awesome. Yeah, I did. Hey, and I think maybe the girls need to get rid of their captain. Never. We will never. I don't can tell, man. She freaking woke me up this morning with her screaming when my alarm went on. Okay, done deal. We will let her go today. No, we will not. Thank you very much. She's the best. Thanks, Andrea. Later, brother. We'll see you. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, guys. How's it going? Pretty good. Who's this?
It's P1's Sean. Oh, hi, Sean. What's going on? It's Sean. P1's Sean. What's happening? No, Mike. This is Sean. Hey. Not too much. Sean. Mikey. This is Sean. Where are you calling from, brother? Hey. Calling from San Francisco, California. No, dude, we actually know a lot of people up there. What's going on? Listening online? No, actually, I'm listening through the satellite. Gotcha. Really good today. Very nice. Just wanted to call up and congratulate Eddie on an unbelievable... You son of a... Well done. Thank you. Mike, this is Sean from our show. Will you guys give him some space? Yeah, you guys. Let the man speak. Yeah, of course. Anyway. Go ahead, P1-chan. Go ahead, Sean. So anyway, Eddie, I mean, it was an unbelievable thing of beauty. I thought so, too. It was really fantastic to listen to. I mean, I never had a doubt, you know, but still, the drama was there. It really was. Why won't he just say this on the air? I don't get it. Ashley, can you get off his back? Yeah, this guy's trying to talk. Why don't you let him talk? Let the man finish.
Thank you. Thank you. We're sorry about that. Anyway. P-1, Sean. It was a great thing, and you guys are the best. Thank you. Really appreciate it. Appreciate that. Thank you, P-1, Sean. Very cool. That was a great film. I kind of thought so. Rack him. Really good. Mikey. Mikey's show. Hello. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I'm in a tornado. Oh, look at him. I'm in a tornado. Help her. Help her. Mikey Show. Hi. I've heard that there's going to be a new event at the Bonnaroo Festival. Really? I actually read it on Ashley's blog. I guess they're going to be hosting a staring contest, and the host is Terry Shivo. Oh, Ashley, that's a terrible... That's ridiculous. First on recipes, and now that. I don't know what's worse. Last call, brother. Bring us home. Hello. Hey. Oh, no. Uh-oh. Hello. What's going on, dude? What's up, man? Not much. I don't know, dude. Yeah. This is actually a good note to end on. It really is. This is actually a perfect lead-in to my testimony. Yes, it is. Brother, I'm going to put you on hold so you can listen, okay? Hang on.
You just keep listening on hold. I used to be you. Every Friday at the end of the show, I give my testimony. I tell you about what my life used to be like and then all the different things that took place in my life over the course of many years. I used to drink so much alcohol that I would black out. Now, a lot of people hear that, but they don't really know what that means, blackout. It means that you can't remember a big chunk of time from before you started the blackout. And that was happening on a daily basis because of the amounts of alcohol that I was drinking for a period of time. But when I was, before all that started, before I was into alcohol, when I was 18 years old, I moved to Tucson, Arizona. And this was before there were networking sites where you could go online, you could meet people and stuff like that. So if you were in a new town, you're just in a new town and you're experiencing all the stuff that happens when you move into a new town. You're a little bit lonely.
I wasn't in school, so I didn't have the opportunity to meet people that were my age. And even if I could, it would have been hard because I was insecure, so insecure about myself. There was no way that I was going to be able to talk to people. And so my teen years and all throughout my 20s is what I think that people would classify as an introvert. But I didn't talk to people because inside what I was telling myself about me was that I was ugly and that I wasn't. That's what I was always telling myself about me. That's a very painful experience. Nobody knew that that was going on inside of me, but that was what was going on inside of me. When I would meet people, I was afraid of them hurting me. Anytime somebody would say something that was negative, it would have a deep impact on me because of my insecurities, because of the things that I carried around. And when I started to add alcohol to it, it just led to addiction. I was addicted to alcohol. I was so tired of living that way.
I had basically given that way of living many, many, many years of my life and nothing about it was working. And so I was laying in bed one night and I just kind of like gave up. Kind of like the army is completely defeated and there's only one guy left and he's weak. And I just surrendered. I asked Jesus Christ if he would come into my life and change me. And it was a really long process, you know. It's still a process that's going on today. That I have confidence today that I never had in the past. That I just never had. I never feel alone. I have those feelings of loneliness. There are people that are listening right now that are having really, really, really, really hard financial times. Through the loss of a job and unemployment, you can't make rent and you feel like, oh man. You feel very hopeless. There's people that are listening right now that are addicted to alcohol or they're addicted to meth.
or they're addicted to coke, or they're addicted to painkillers. And maybe your family members around you, they know about it and they wish that you would do something about it, but you can't. Or maybe you're going through something with an eating disorder. Or maybe you have lost somebody that's really, really, really important to you. You're going through a divorce or a breakup, or you've lost a mother or a brother or a sister or a father. or a child and you feel like things are hopeless and maybe there's this thing that's inside of you that related to something that I said and you went, yeah, I felt that. I know I've felt that sense of hurt and being lonely. I tell you my story about accepting Christ into my life because when I did, he started to do these amazing things for me. And I wanted to tell you about it because maybe good for you too.
So I play this song and the song is about hope. Play it at the end of the show on Fridays by a band called Third Day. And the song is just, it's about hope and knowing that there is hope.
