Mikey and the crew memorialized George Carlin by replaying routines about germs, death, organ donation, and religion, praising his comic craft even when Mikey disputed his religious argument. P1 Michelle's story about a hot-sauce-triggered seizure and an anonymous bride's unwanted 13-year-old guest both became arguments about personal responsibility, courtesy, and reasonable expectations. The show's biggest comedy bits included Ashley catching a bouquet with her face, Boston Rob winning the Dumb Chick Challenge, Eddie reliving a WWF novelty album, Sean mistaking a golf-ball collector for an arsonist, and Zeth helping culture the studio console. Later, the crew enjoyed Tony Stewart's hostile interview, fought over Sky's fruit-pie habits, and helped Monique publicize the disappearance of Honey Girl.
What happened, in order
Remembering George Carlin
Mikey and the crew marked George Carlin's death at 71 by playing his routines about germs, death, organ donation, and religion while praising his timing, voice, and influence.
Hot-Sauce Seizure
P1 Michelle said a woman at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles had a seizure after copying her heavy use of hot sauce, prompting an argument over whether Michelle was wrong to leave.
Bouquet to the Face
Ashley described aggressively boxing out other women for the bouquet at her brother's forest wedding, only for it to fly straight into her face before she caught it.
The Uninvited Thirteenth-Year-Old
An anonymous bride objected when a groomsman added his 13-year-old son to a no-children wedding RSVP, and the hosts debated disrespect, babysitting, expectations, and a claimed $200 plate.
Dumb Chick Challenge
Boston Rob won the trivia game as Sky guessed New York had 12 boroughs and Ashley struggled with the thyroid's location and the juniper source of gin flavor.
Piledriver Memories
Eddie proudly reconstructed the bizarre WWF album Piledriver, recalling songs by wrestlers and managers while the rest of the crew mocked his encyclopedic nostalgia.
The Suspected Arsonist
Sean filmed a suspicious man leaving a backpack on a dry Bay Area hill and called police, only to learn the neighbor was collecting stray golf balls.
Culturing the Console
Zeth supplied Petri dishes so Mikey could swab the filthy control board, mouse, phone, and microphone while germaphobe Sean recoiled from the experiment.
Tony Stewart's Patience Runs Out
The crew replayed Tony Stewart snapping at a reporter who kept asking about a racing incident he had not seen, then laughed at his blunt explanation that he passed cars by going where they were not.
The Fruit-Pie Heresy
Sky admitted she peels the empty top crust from Hostess fruit pies and rejects the filling, setting off a sprawling argument over flavors and whether pie itself is unnecessary.
Finding Honey Girl
P1 Monique made an emotional appeal for her missing Yorkshire Terrier Honey Girl, and the hosts directed listeners to P1site while arguing whether someone took the dog or a canyon predator did.

Zeth's mic now can always be an A because Zeth has officially moved. I don't even know if Rob knows that. Zeth has moved over to the other side of the table now. I love it. He sits at the adult table now. The big boy table. You know at Thanksgiving how they always have the adult table and the kids do. He's at the adult table now. And so... Welcome to the show. It's 6-0-7. George Carlin died yesterday in Los Angeles from heart failure. He was 71 years old. The Padres didn't get any calls yesterday, and they lost to the Detroit Tigers 5-3. Yeah, so let's get you, well, first of all, let's get the phones rolling, 570-1053. We'll get that going. And our text number is 35253, so you can text us, too. We'd love to hear from you. And that 570-1053, that works with any area code here in the county, so it doesn't matter where you're calling from. It doesn't matter if your cell phone is a 619 or an 858 or a 760. Sky, what did you think of that 760 petition thing that my wife sent you? I immediately filled it out. So did my wife. Immediately. My wife got this thing, you know, like keep 760 area code. She sent it to Sky, you know. Gosh.
They're trying to keep that 7-6-0. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Let's fight. Let's fight the man. Yeah, Mike. That's right. Don't forget that. That's right. Wow. I'm just saying. I'm going to introduce everybody really quickly, and then we've got to get right into everything this George Carlin deal. So, I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 38. Had a really cool day yesterday where... I gave my wife for Mother's Day. I gave her a day at the spa. So she did it yesterday. And so part of the deal and giving her the day at the spa was saying, I will take Jake the whole day. You know, you don't have to call your mom. And so I took Jake and that was a big deal because I don't usually watch him for a whole day. And I don't know what to do. And so I was praying about it yesterday morning and it couldn't have been a better day.
It was really an awesome day with Jake. It's so cool. And we swam. We went to Home Depot. And we took a nap. Yeah. It was pretty cool. I forgot to give him lunch. You know, it was a pretty flawless day. Wow. Needless to say, by dinner time, he was a pretty hungry kid. Famished. So Eddie's our producer, our sports guy. 35 years of age. Sky is our news girl. She is 30 years of age. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's 38 and stands 6'3". Ashley is our assistant producer. She is 24 years old. Not for long. About a week away. About a week away. I am wondering about this birthday, by the way. We've got to talk about that later. I'm wondering about this birthday. Is anybody wondering about this birthday?
Like what? Well, has there been any talk of like... No, not yet. I was thinking about that this weekend. Were you? I was. Yeah, about doing a dinner. Yes. And exchanging gifts. Be a friend dinner. I'm going to skip that this year. Aye, aye, aye, with that. Please. Boston Rob is our phone screener, 25 years old. And then there's Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr. Esquire. He is the youngest guy on the show. He's only 23. 570-1053 is the phone number. This is George Carlin, who passed away last night. How did he die, Skye? Heart failure. He had checked himself into the hospital in the L.A. area yesterday afternoon complaining of chest pains and passed away in the hospital of heart failure. He's my dad's age, which got me worried. 71. From inside the actor's studio with George Carlin, cut two. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God, if God exists, say when you arrive at the pearly gates? That's some fun around here. Carlin was funny, man. I actually saw George Carlin perform in San Francisco in 2003. Really? I went with Rob Ayala. Yeah, he was so good.
He was so good. He's really a funny guy, Carlin. And there was certain topics that were very big on his radar. Religion was one of them. Another thing he talked about a lot was germs, which was really his stuff on germs. Pretty funny. Cut for. What we have now is a completely neurotic population obsessed with security and safety and crime and drugs and cleanliness and hygiene and germs. There's another thing. Germs. Where did this sudden fear of germs come from? Have you noticed this? The media constantly running stories about all the latest infections, salmonella, E. coli, antivirus, bird flu, and Americans panic easily. So now everybody's running around scrubbing this and spraying that and overcooking their food and repeatedly washing their hands, trying to avoid all contact with germs. It's ridiculous, and it goes to ridiculous lengths. In prisons, before they give you a lethal injection, they swab your arm with alcohol. It's true. It's true. Get an infection.
And you can see their point. Wouldn't want some guy to go to hell and be sick. He had that amazing cadence. And when you talk to comedians, especially now, he's considered one of their mentors, you know. Craig Gass loved Carlin, knew Carlin. So we should talk to Craig later. He was friends with Carlin. George, I guess, actually really liked Craig, invited him to a couple of things, and they got to know each other. And so, yeah, I'm sure Craig is pretty bummed out. A lot of people. But, yeah, Carlin is considered one of the greats. And he had everything you need. He had the cool voice. He had that really cool voice. He had the most amazing sense of timing. He had that brilliant mind. And he had that incredible cadence. And he put it all together, and it was perfect.
It's all that Carlin stuff. It's always interesting to me that he never ventured into the TV route of doing a sitcom or anything like that. But I thought he always could have been really, really much bigger than he was. And he was huge. I wonder why he didn't. I don't know. Maybe he thought that his stuff wouldn't play on TV. Yeah, he's not PC enough. He didn't want to maybe tone it down. I don't know. Yeah, and he was not PC. That's part of what made him so funny, you know? Yeah. George Carlin joking about death. Cut one. There are things we say when someone dies. Most of us say, a lot of us do. Things we say that no one ever questions. They just kind of go unexamined. Give me a couple examples. After someone dies, the following conversation is bound to take place probably more than once. Two guys meet on the street. Hey, did you hear? Phil Davis died. Phil Davis? I just saw him yesterday. Yeah. Didn't help. He died anyway. Apparently, the simple act of your seeing him did not slow his cancer down. In fact, it may have made it more aggressive. You know, you could be responsible for Phil's death. How do you live with yourself? Yeah, he's good, man.
So, yeah, if you're just tuning in, George Carlin dead at 71. He was having some chest pain, went to the hospital, and then he died yesterday. And I think he'd lost his wife a few years back. As a matter of fact, I think he'd lost her right before we went and saw her in 2003, and they were super close, super, super close. But anyway, George Carlin. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. You can call us at the beginning and end of every show. And you can talk about anything you want because we do an open forum at the beginning and the close of the show. P1 Carlos, tell everybody what a P1 is. P1 is someone that gets straight to the point, turns down the radio, does not cuss, and listens exclusively to the Mikey Show. Rad. That's it. What were you calling to say, man? Hey, I was calling to say that George Carlin did have a TV show about five, eight years ago, something like that. Really? You guys don't remember that? What was it called? You know, I can't remember the name of it, but I bet if you Google it. You know what? Now that he says that, I vaguely remember something. He had his ponytail going on and everything. And it didn't last long? No. I wonder what it was. Yeah, maybe it's something like on Fox or something. Yeah, you know what? I think it was. Really? Yeah.
Yeah, it was actually called the George Carlin Show. Really? I guess he was a cab driver. It ran in like 93. It's called the George Carlin Show, but he doesn't play George Carlin. Yeah. Nice. A little strange. So anyway, give us a call. 570-1053 is the phone number. And we'll talk about anything you want. You want to talk about Carlin and your favorite Carlin stuff or just stuff, anything you want, man. Talk about what you did this weekend. I always like sometimes when people will call and they'll say, hey, this happened over the weekend. What's your guys' take on that? That's always cool. Eddie had poker at his house on Friday. Who won? Well, it was kind of weird. The first game, it was like a three-way chop because everybody wanted to get to the second game. So, like, you know, three players had, like, tons of money.
And so they just all chopped it and started a second game. And second game, I won, of course. Nice. Yeah. And it actually came down to me and my wife. Yeah. Oh, wow. And I wouldn't let her. Well, because I said, oh, well, now it's just the two of you. Obviously, you're just going to split it because the money's both in. And he's like, no, we're not. We're not. No, I wouldn't, Mike. I wouldn't allow that to happen. And so. Ridiculous. At one point, she tried to bluff me. Right. And it angered me. Yeah. And I called her on it, and she sucked out on me. Yeah. What does that mean? It means that I was dominating her at, like, ace-king to, like, her 10-7. Right. And she got, like, a pair of sevens. Right. They beat me. I'm sure that went over great. I was furious. Right. And so then I really got mad, and I had to really take her out. So you won that one. Yeah. So did you guys play? So you played two games. You won the second. Who won the first? It was a three-way chop.
Oh, see, they split it. Yeah. Okay. Man, I don't understand some terms. I got to figure it out. You're cute. It sounds fun, though. Three-way chop, that sounds pretty good. That's right. I had that a couple nights ago at the restaurant. Medium rare or rare? Oh, two. Rare. I love it rare. Definitely. Got to have the three-way chop. Sure. The three-way chop house is opening in Kearney Mason a couple of weeks, which will be good, where you get to make your own. You know, you choose it, and then you put it on the grill, and you make it yourself. It's really delicious. I like it. Let's see. Oh, and this is crazy. Eddie says that yesterday, out of nowhere, he decided to go golfing in East County. Why? You're in that bag. It was a little warm. Well, yeah. Dude, on Friday, my friend who works at the Best Buy right there in East County, he has one of those thermostats in his car. He said it said 111 degrees in his car. Yeah. That's nuts. Eddie.
Were you the only person out there? No. It was a normal day on the course. But our friend Russell called me up and asked me if I wanted to play. Right. And I did. But I didn't know why. I didn't think about it before I said yes. Driving out there, I went, oh, no. I mean, this is 9 o'clock in the morning. And it was blazing already. And so I go out there and I start playing. dying. I'm roasting alive. I can smell my insides. I get to about the 15th hole and I'm done. I have nothing to take. I feel like crap. I'm like, dude, this is bad. I think I have heat stroke. It's brutal out here. Were you guys drinking water the whole time? You're like vodka, actually, so it didn't help. I drank two waters. I drank two... Gatorade, and I drank two beers, and I did not have to go to the bathroom once. So that tells you how much I was sweating. That's crazy. It was crazy. Oh, my. It's crazy out there. How did you golf? I did okay, actually. I played okay. They got to develop an indoor golf place. That was a hot one. Nine billion square feet or something. Speaking of the heat, this guy's air conditioner.
Broke. Come on. No. It was not a good time, Mike. Why did you just, you guys should have called and come over. Because if mine breaks, I'm calling you and I'm coming over. Well, we were lucky because, well, in a way we were lucky because it was Friday. And so we knew that we were going to Eddie's that night. So basically what had happened is it's never really worked very good ever since we moved into the house. But every time we'd call the guys out, they'd be like, no, it's fine. It looks great. Everything's great. And then finally on Friday when I got home from work, it was making this crazy hissing noise that you could hear all the way from the street. So I'm like, okay. And, of course, no cool air is coming out of the vent. So we call the guy. He comes out. He works on it for like two hours on Friday. He's like, you know what? You just need a new air conditioning unit. That's basically what needs to happen here. You've got to be kidding me. Why? Isn't it brand new? Yeah.
Yeah, I guess it's just never worked right the whole time we've been there. Warranty, though, right? Yeah, yeah, under warranty. And I guess it was a problem with the condenser, and he said, well, I could take the whole condenser out and fix it, but that's basically the whole guts of it, so let's just put a new one in. So we'll come out tomorrow afternoon to put your new air conditioner in. Come at 2 a.m. So, yeah, so basically all Friday, no AC and half a Saturday, no AC. So luckily Friday night we were at Eddie's house. So before we left to go to Eddie's, we opened like every single window in the whole entire house, hoping that by the time we got home at like midnight, you know, the house would be cooled down. Was it? No. The thermostats reading like 85 in the house at like 1 o'clock in the morning. No. Yeah, so needless to say, didn't sleep very good. But anyway, the new AC works great. No way. Sean's up in the Bay Area, and I talked to some family up there that said that their thermometer thing in their car, you know how some cars have like the little thermometer thing?
said 113. Oh, yeah. It was hot up there, too? It was like 100 degrees at my brother's wedding. Yeah. I don't know what Gilroy is, but that's what I talked to some family in Gilroy. They said it was terrible. It was scalding. Outdoor wedding, what's up? Well, Saturday actually hit, not inside your car, but actually hit 109 in Poway. Air temperature. Yeah, that's not the inside your car temperature. Your car in general, 40 degrees warmer than the air temperature outside. It is warmer, yeah. But, yeah, 109. That's nuts. It was crazy. That's crazy. Saturday was the worst. That's Poway 109? Yeah, Escondido was like 107, El Cajon 104. Brutal. Oh, that is hot. P1 Ocean Beach is on the line. Hey, Mikey, P1 Ocean Beach. What's going on, dude? Arnold's going to be in town tonight, and I hear you guys joke around with his voice, me and my friends. Yeah, we do. Yeah, we joke around about his voice because he's not actually from California. Right, right, right. It's from the future. Do you talk to Arnold in an Arnold voice, and how do you think he would react? I think he would react.
by slapping me across the face with this machine hand. Knocking me into next Wednesday. All the guys in the back that we're working with are wondering who's going to say the catchphrases to them. Like, I don't know. Get to the chopper. Get down. Yeah, that's what we're going to say to them. What catchphrase is that, by the way? I don't know. Never heard that one. I've never heard that catchphrase. It's a good one, though. I'm Sarah Connor. You're Sarah. I'm Sarah. You don't sound like Sarah. And the other one, everyone's like, I wonder if you can even spell his own name. I mean, can anyone even spell it? That old catchphrase. Yeah, remember that catchphrase is good too. That's a good one. Arnold, I'm going to tell you, you've heard it a million times, but here's my favorite catchphrase. I wonder if you can even spell your own name. For every time, I swear. Thank you for the call. That is P1 Ocean Beach. Oh, man. P1 Sanjaya is on the line. What's up, guys? What's going on, Sanjaya? Hey, dude. I actually had a question for Sean. All right. I was wondering what the update was from him going to a doctor's. Yeah, what was the blood test results, Sean? Yeah, I didn't actually have to go to the doctor. The doctor ended up calling me. We played phone tag for a little while on Friday, but...
Everything is clear. I see. Oh, really? I can't believe it. I had a test. I also made them give me a urinalysis. We did a urinalysis, and that came clean as well. Wow. Are you going to be sending the bill to P1 Medic? Well, P1 Medic is the guy that said that he did that. Well, if I had his address, maybe. Well, thank you for the call, Sanjay. P1 Medic called last week. Kind of early in the week, and he said that he had been out at the sticker strike that we did where we were putting stickers on people's cars. He said that he met Sean out there and that he had sneezed on Sean when he had some sort of illness. And Sean's a germaphobe, and that really upset Sean. So Sean went to his doctor and had blood drawn. But the guy was clearly joking. And Sean knows this, but still is crazy and went to the doctor. I don't know about it.
I don't think so. I don't know. Quite honestly. I mean, I don't think he said it in a way that was like, ha, ha, ha, ha. What don't you know about? Well, it didn't seem to me that he was joking. But he was. I don't think he was joking. He clearly was. Well. It was not clear. It was clear. Well, either way, either way, Sean is, he checks out. He's going to live. He checks out. No, good. Well, this will be the first. I'll probably get another one done in like three or four months. Okay. All right. That's a little. Have you guys taken a look at Sean today in the camera? I have a lot. I can't stop staring. I can't stop staring. It's really... No, there's not a problem. Of course there isn't a problem. Are you talking about the nectarine over here? Okay, wait a minute. The nectarine. And nectarine, as you know, has very tiny little hairs on the top. And Sean decided he was going to... It's time. He was going to take off the televangelist preacher haircut.
My hair's short. It's time to go to the chair. Yes, and so, yeah, it looks like somebody's on their way to the lethal injection chair. Very private pile. Yes, very private pile. That sounds gross. No, it's just, you know, I like my hair like this. That's right. I do it all the time. It's hot. No, he does not do it all the time. That was not necessarily a thing. That was literally not enough. It doesn't happen. You know, it happens. You do it. Periodically, I would say, is a better way to describe that. Sporadically. Sporadically, definitely, at the least. P1 Repo Man is on the line. Repo, are you there? Repo. Repo was calling to tell us that he was in Indio this weekend. Oh, no, he shouldn't have been. He should not have been. He melted. You want to know what the temperature was? 121 degrees. Forget it. So he was in the sun. Yep. This. Should be an interesting story to hear about. P1 Michelle, are you there? Hi, Mikey. Hi, how are you? I'm okay. How are you guys? I'm good. You are calling to tell us a pretty interesting story. Yeah. So this weekend, I had my friend visit from the East Coast, and we went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in L.A. Uh-huh. The one off Sunset. Uh-huh. And so we're eating, like, this huge meal, and I'm really big into hot sauce. Yeah.
I cover my plate with hot sauce. There's a table next to us of girls who are watching me. They're like, oh, that's a good idea. And they did it as well. They covered their plate with this hot sauce. One of the girls, as soon as she takes a bite of this hot sauce, goes into a seizure. What? Yeah, it was crazy. She fell. She, like, smacked her hand on the floor. Her eyes rolled back like her teeth were chattering. Is that because of the hot sauce? From the hot sauce, yeah, because her friends were like, it's the hot sauce. What a crazy thing. That's crazy. I never even heard of that. Yeah, it was so nuts. And my friend was so mad at me. Like, we got in a fight because as soon as she hit the floor, I, like, I was gone. I said, let's go. And we left. I'm so mad because he's like, how can you just leave?
Well, it kind of, you know, the meal's over at that point, I think. But don't you help? Don't you stay and help and do what you can do? Well, you're not supposed to move them. You're supposed to leave them. And what, like, professionals do that? Well, you're supposed to protect their head from banging against the floor. I thought it already did that. I thought she ate it and then went, don't. I thought that's what you don't. She said she was having a seizure, not that she passed out. Oh, I see what you're saying. So after she's on the floor. You, like, hold their head? Or, you know, put something soft underneath their head. Okay, I gotcha. Like a jacket or whatever you can... I don't know anything. Well, couldn't her friends help her do that? Like, why would it be that Michelle's responsibility, you know? Did her friends help her out? Did her friends help her? Her friends were panicking, and then the main guy of Roscoe's ran out. Roscoe? Roscoe himself come out there and... He's like, I'll help. It was so nice. It was the weirdest thing. And it was right next to me. So basically my friend said that I...
I was the cause of that because of the hot sauce. Did you shove it down her throat? Did you shove it down her throat? It could be. We don't know. Very rude. Thanks for the call. Wow. How crazy is that? 570-1053 is the phone number, and our text number is 35253, and we got a great show lined up for you. Here's what we're looking at. First of all, later on. A little bit later. I don't know if you remember this, but we did this thing and it was talking about the germiest places in like the germiest work environments. Radio station console was like one of the top ones. Yeah. And they are. They're disgusting and filthy. So we have a kit and we're going to swab this console and find out what.
kind of germs exist there. We're going to be doing something called the dumb chick challenge in less than an hour. We got an email from a guy that found something out about his brother on MySpace. And he's kind of wondering, do I say anything to him? Because his brother never told him about the MySpace thing. He googled his brother's name. Because he was just having fun at work Googling everybody he knew his name. Came across this. Found out something about his brother. Wants to know. Should I talk to him about it? Also, P1 trivia on the show today. We got blogs. And they have announced who Tim Russert's replacement is going to be on. Meet the Press. Wow. And so I'm going to tell you more about that in just a little bit. And we'll be talking, I'm sure, about this George Carlin thing. George Carlin.
if you haven't heard, passed away last night. And so, in honor of that, in the stand-up spotlight, we got a little work of George Carlin. It's the Motor Vehicle Bureau in most states who sends you the little card you're supposed to carry right next to your driver's license. In your wallet, little card, you're supposed to fill it out, and on it, you're supposed to list the organs you're willing to give in case you die. Are these people out of their minds or something? Do you honestly believe that if a paramedic finds that card on you in an automobile accident, he's going to try to save your life? He's looking for parts, man. Absolutely. Look, Dan, here's that lower intestine we've been looking for. Never mind the oxygen, this man's a donor. I don't want some guy poking around in me hoping I die. I want to live. I don't want to die. That's the whole secret of life. Not dying.

All new episodes begin tonight at 9, 8 central, only on A&E. Train mattress centers. We're looking at a pretty good ride overall. There is a problem, though, on the 15 freeway. First, you're going to find the usual slow stuff out of Escondido right now on the south 15 from the 78. And off and on down past Felicita, bunching up again at Villarreal Parkway. There was an earlier car fire northbound, I'm sorry, southbound 15, just past Cumberbatch Mesa Boulevard. It was in the center divide. It didn't cause too much of a slowdown there, but on the northbound 15, people just couldn't help but slow down and check things out with fire crews on the opposite side. So the north 15, as a result, back-to-back to Curiosity off the 8th freeway up to Murphy Canyon, up past Cumberbatch Mesa Boulevard, before you pick up speed there. Restore freeways are looking pretty decent, just a minor delay, except on the south bay traffic here, northbound 5, just past...
The 54 South Bay Freeway. I'm McLaurin's on Rock 105 for 8. If you're new to the Mikey Show and you hear this term P1, and you could hear this a lot, P1. is a Mikey Show listener. So whenever you hear that, just know that that's what it means. It stands for priority one. And you guys, the new P1s, mean the most to us. We love the P1s. And one of the coolest things that the P1s do is call us and tell us when they have an experience at one of our sponsors. And I'm super, super choosy and picky about... In fact, I'm meeting with somebody on Thursday that I won't even tell you who it is because I don't know how the... I don't know how the conversation is going to go, and I don't know how the experience is going to go. But I always do that. I go down there. I know about them before I ever bring them to you. Sleep Train is one of them. And one of the things that I think is cool about our P1s is that they will call us and tell us when they've had a cool experience at Sleep Train. And so I just want to let you know to do that. If you go to Sleep Train, you've heard me talk about it. Please call us, 570-1053, and tell us about those experiences because we want to tell people about it. Eddie's going to be getting a new mattress, and that's where he's going. Absolutely.
putting my money where your mouth is. I've been hearing about Sleep Train for years. I finally am in the market for a new mattress and I cannot wait to go down to Sleep Train and get new ones. I'm going to be buying like three of them. Really? Well, I got a brand new house and I got to furnish like all these guest bedrooms. Right. And so I got to buy a bunch of stuff there. And I've had back problems for years and I cannot wait to get a new. mattress from Sleep Train, and hopefully that'll help out a little bit. Well, the cool thing about going there is they've got all the big brand names, all the ones that you're used to hearing, Simmons, Sealy, Select Comfort, I Sleep on the Dream Line, which I believe is Stearns and Foster. And so just go down there. It's really great. It's Sleep Train, and they're your ticket to a better night's sleep. And don't forget to call us if you've been there and you've had that great experience. Now back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I picked my nose a lot. Eddie. I once played chicken. With a squirrel. And lost. Sky. I was Prudy McPrude for quite a while. I thought you lost your virginity at like 12. Sean. I'm Boston Rob. Nobody enjoys a good thumbs up once in a while. That's right. And Ashley. I'm a very messy person. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. This is the number one hip-hop song in the country. Try to give you all of the different charts.
Except for country. That's the only one I don't really do. But we do rock. Number one on rock charts. We'll show you. We'll tell you what the number one hip-hop, number one pop song, all that stuff. That Weezer song, Pork and Beans, is still the number one rock song. Welcome back. It's 642. We had record-breaking temperatures all weekend long. We can expect much cooler temperatures today. Just give Kyle Busch the title already. He won in Sonoma to take his fifth victory of the season. He talks about his win yesterday. A lot of people were saying that maybe running around, doing all those other races, was taking some of your focus off. This is the first week you didn't do that. Was your focus back, or are we just not talking about the right thing? I don't think you're talking about the right thing. You know, what we need to be talking about is all these boys that worked so hard. We unloaded here, and we were absolutely junk, you know. It was just a bad feeling, and these guys worked so hard. I got to thank AP Brakes. They came over, helped us out an awful lot. Thank them. And Mac Tools for everything they've done for us. And M&M, Snickers, Interstate Batteries, Norm. Are you kidding me?
And it's just phenomenal that we're able to be here in victory lane. I mean, never on a road course has happened for me before in the Cup Series. So this is definitely really, really special. And I couldn't stop celebrating, man. I just disintegrated this thing. But I've got to thank Mark back at the engine shop, everybody, chassis shop and all those guys. I mean, we came a long ways with this thing. And that's what makes me so proud about this team and everything that we've done here this weekend is we came so far. And that's pretty cool. I definitely, you know, one of the things I want to do is at some point I definitely want to thank my mother and God, but first I just want to thank Skull and Circle K, you know, for everything they've been doing for this pit crew. Vitamin water. Yeah, I just want to thank vitamin water. Sweet little baby Jesus. Yeah, yeah. I'll get to him, but hang on, man. My son Walker and Texas Ranger. That's right. Oh, that is awesome. They got to thank those sponsors. I just want to thank Domino's Pizza and KFC for everything they've done for us. And also mom. So thanks. Dude, it must suck not having like a manly sponsor. Like I have to say thanks to M&M's. It's true, man. Dude, Mark Martin used to have to thank Viagra. That was his number one sponsor. That was his numero uno sponsor, Viagra.
So 570-1053 is a phone number. 35253 is our text number. And we love to get texts from you. And the other thing is, is we really do love to read those texts. It's just, you know, Zeth goes through the texts. And some days the texts are strong. Some days they are the opposite of strong. They're not that good. They're not that good. So hopefully we get some good, funny texts from you. You know what the texts are. They're comments and stuff. You know, they're just comments on stuff. Maybe you heard this morning that Carlin's gone and you're like, hey, man, I loved Carlin. Whatever. Give me some of that. Talk to me about anything you want. Our text is 35253 and the phone number 5701053. You know, Zeth bought one of those window units this weekend. The window air conditioner. But he didn't realize when he was buying it and everything that it was for the wrong kind of window and that whole deal. So that's not good. I rigged it up there pretty good. It took me like two days, but it's up there. I had to like nail wooden planks to like the window sill. You Mickey moused it? Yeah, it's bad. Can you imagine? There's books underneath it. Just take it back and get a different one. Yeah, why do you do that? Well, they don't have the ones that...
The window that I have, it goes like it slides sideways, up and down. They've got to have something. No, they don't. I don't think so. Don't they have some kind of partition you can stick in there or something? Yeah. I had one like that. They do. Oh, man. I should have known that before I destroyed my window. Where did you get it? A Target or something? Best Buy. Best Buy. Yeah, dude. You got a discount, man. I'm at like Walmart. Ten bucks. True. When you stick those deals in your window, do you have to put water in them? No. No? No. Some of them you might. For some reason, I remember when I was a kid, and I remember my brother had one of those, and I remember it being very comfortable. Eddie's place, man. Dude. Eddie's, when I was growing up, going over to Eddie's house, his parents built an extension onto their house. Or they converted, right? Didn't they convert the garage into a room? It converted the garage into a room, which was the best conversion ever because you didn't know. It seemed like a room. And they had one of those wall units. Easily the most comfortable and coolest and coldest air ever. There were icicles in that room, and I loved it. It was great, man. Super legit. It was so cool. You do? Oh, yeah. Now, do you have the up or down, the side to side, or the up and down kind of window? I have the up and down kind of window. You press it all the way up.
It cools down probably good in there, huh? And then you put the wall unit in and then you lock the window so you can't press it, you know? Hey, how was your brother's wedding, Ashley? It was great. Was it cool? Yeah, dude, it was gnarly. He really did get married in the, like out in the woods, right? In the forest. In the auditorium? Is it, oh, you know what, Eddie? It was an amphitheater. Turns out it was not an amphitheater. Well, that's different. I've made a tomato. No, it was a little awesome. One's indoors, one's outdoors. Yeah, I was picturing, like, an auditorium, you know, where people would go and hear a lecture. It was an amphitheater in the Berkeley Garden Grove, and basically, like... Was it in the Berkeley Forest? Basically, yeah. Like, there was all these little, like, wooden benches, and we all sat down on these wooden benches, and there was this little... Did they not have a back? No. The benches did not... Nope, no back. I would not have been good in that environment. I would not have been good in that environment. We put out little seat cushions for everyone to sit on, so it's not like you were sitting on hardwood. That's good. And then, like, literally, Sana, who's now my brother's wife. It was in a sauna? You guys did this. It was hot out there, man. I'm so confused. It was so hot. Her name's Sana. She said that, so. She's very Dutch. And if it rains. Why would you get in a sauna? It was hot. She's 100% Dutch. The humidity goes to the roof. Her father's name is Torsten, okay? Okay, wait a minute. Her father's name is Tinika. What are you doing?
His name is Svila. Right? Her name is Sana. They're Dutch. Sana? Sana? Torsten Howell III? Her brother Jacuzzi? She walked up, like, what you would look at is like a hiking trail. You know, there's twigs and bush, and she's walking up that, and there's redwood trees surrounding us, and we're, like, circled by redwood trees. Question. Straight up to the sky. Question. Question. Answer. Did you have to, like... hike to the place? A little bit. A tiny bit. In your beautiful dress? A little bit. A little bit. I mean, there's twigs. You had probably about 50 yards in. Sky would have loved this. This sounds perfect. I should have gotten married here. I'm so jealous. No, no, no, but this is the awesome part because it was scalding.
It's scalding hot, right? You go into the forest, 20 degrees less. It was refreshing. The redwood trees were perfect. That's cool. If it cooled it down, it would be nice. It totally cooled it down. Mike, you would have been all right. You're the seat cushion. I'm a baby, dude. There was a cushion. I'm a baby. I'm a baby. I don't like that. To me, a nightmare would be going to a USC game. I don't want to sit in that L.A. Coliseum where it's all bench. No way. He is the baby. It hurts. Well, that's cool. How about the bouquet? I know we talked about that on Friday, that you were going to punch someone out for it. Yeah, I caught it. You caught it? The answer is yes. The answer is yes. Did you have to fight chicks for it or what? Oh, you would think, right? Because I was totally ready to. I put a girl in the hospital, Sky. Sonic gets ready to throw it. And there's maybe 15, 20 girls, okay? Because it was a small wedding.
And I'm directly next to the maid of honor, her younger sister, who is the only sister out of the four that is not married. She's got a boyfriend of seven months. They've been dating a little longer than me and Mark. And I'm right next to her. I'm shooting up. Like, I got my legs spread. I'm, like, hunched down like a basketball player. Boxing out. Like a layup or whatever. You know what I'm saying, Eddie. You know what I'm saying, Eddie. I've said it three times. I'm ready to go. And I'm staring at it. And it's headed. straight for my face. In slow motion. Slow motion. And I'm like, oh crap, so I don't even have to, so I guess I just have to, and I put my hands up, catch it, but by that time it was too late, smashed me straight in the face. Okay. That's a sign. That's a sign. That's a sign. For sure. That's a sign. I catch it, I'm off, I'm like, there's like petals going everywhere, I'm like, ah! It's in the face. Oh boy. That's right. There you go. Sounds romantic. It's quite a scene. What did your boyfriend Mark think of that?
Oh, he was stoked because the last wedding he went to, he caught the garter. And so it just all makes sense. Oh, well, hello. Ashley, how are the pits doing in that heat? How are the pits? Let's not even go there, right? Let's not even go there. Ashley has an issue with the pits and all that stuff. Well, what can you do? Did you give a toast or do any of that stuff? Totally gave a toast. You did? You were so good. Totally gave a toast. Come on. Yeah. That's crazy. It was crazy because. Why didn't you tape record it? Did you tape it? That would have been right. Did anybody video? Is there anything exist of this? Are you ready for this? Yeah. I videotaped the entire thing from the rehearsal dinner to the end of the wedding. I'm going to make a sick video for my brother for his birthday.
If Casey gets sick, she'll be like, remember this? No, no, no. I think I'm being cool. That's awesome. It's a new phrase the kids are using. Like, cool. And so, you know, I'm videotaping all the toasts. And we had a lot of toasts. Like, you know, my mom and, like, his, you know, Sana's mom, Sana's dad, Sana's sister. And that was all in Dutch, so the interpreter took a while. And then they had to sign it. That's right. So you have to do all that first. And so I wasn't planning on giving a toast. Then the clog money dance. So I wasn't even planning on giving a toast. Wooden 20s to her dress. Wooden 20s. The shoes, you know. The shoes. They're like not even that far off. It's all wooden, right? And now it's the dance of the windmill. It's now time for the windmill dance. The hills are alive. The best man who was my brother's roommate in college, he was like, how are you not going to give a toast? It's what you do. You talk for a living. You should get up there and give a toast. So I'm like, sure. So I got up there, and so I give the video camera to Mark. I already had it recording because I didn't want him to mess it up. So I go, Mark, will you just hold this and record?
Me, right? Yeah. Oh, no. He hit the button when he grabbed it. No, don't say that. When he grabbed it. No, don't say it. It sounds like an abstinence. He didn't know. He didn't know how to use it. No. He pressed it. I'm sure there were other people recording, right? Nobody else. They didn't have a videographer? They didn't have a videographer, and that's why my brother was so stoked, because I just, on a whim, was like, hey, Steven, I got a camera. He had no idea, so he was stoked. I was like, The videographer of the wedding. Mark, I hate you so much. I'll never forgive him for this. Because I killed him. My toast was so good. I got so many compliments. Who's buying that? I just like to share food and I like to take little bites of people's foods. It's my thing. On Rock 105.3. Yeah, welcome back to the show. It's a Mikey show. It's Monday morning at 7.04. Amy Winehouse's dad says his daughter has early stages of emphysema from smoking drugs. Fresno State upsets North Carolina to make it to the College World Series finals against Georgia. This text message is a text that only Ashley can answer. It says, Mikey, what happened to Ashley's anti-wedding attitude and I'm never getting married? Marriage is overrated. P1 Pirate. Ash? That's a really good question. Yeah. Because when you find what? I mean, seriously. When you meet Mark? It's like a fairy tale. I love you so much.
Well said. People get married too quick and people put too much into the actual day when really it's maybe not so much about the day as it is about the companionship of the marriage. Yeah, but you didn't believe in marriage. You're right. I didn't. And, you know, I got to say now that I've found someone who stole my heart. You stole my heart. You know, my feelings have changed 100%. Yeah. So, Mark, if you're listening. So, Mark, if you're listening, take a hint. I will say yes. This next text says, Mikey, should I be mad at my boyfriend for casually texting a female co-worker with whom?
He has a flirty past. P1 Sportster. I think you can't deny anybody feelings. So if you feel angry, that's your feelings. You can never say to somebody, you shouldn't feel that way. That's their feelings. You can't tell somebody how they should or shouldn't feel. But if it were me personally, I don't know if I would be angry, but I think that I would be concerned. And I do think that if he is texting, casually or not, a female co-worker whom he had a flirty past with, yeah, I'd be concerned. I think there's something to be concerned about. Eddie, what do you think? She sounds like she's overreacting. Overreacting. Sky, what do you think? Well, I want to, you know, of course, want to know more. Like, what was the text? What are we talking about from this flirty relationship? Like, exactly what?
Is that just her opinion or is that for real? Yeah. That was an overreaction. But any way you slice it, it definitely warrants a discussion if she's upset about it. And how does she know that, by the way? Good question. Did he tell her that he texted? Like, how does she know the content of said text? That is a far out question. Snake in the grass. Snake in the grass. That's right. I'd love to hear from her. So. Ready for this email? Please. Let me see what you guys, let me get your guys' take on this. And definitely give us your input at 570-1053 or text us at 35253. A Mikey show. So my fiance and I have this problem. We're getting married in August. The guest list is tight. His side of the family are all accepting with RSVPs that say with his family.
are all accepting the RSVPs with no regrets thus far, meaning that nobody has said they're not coming. They're all coming. I received a response card last night. I reserved three seats for a groomsman, my fiance's cousin, his wife, and their 21-year-old son. We're not having any kids at the wedding slash reception besides the ones who are involved in the ceremony. This response card changed the seats from three to four. And on the back, it says this. We will pay for little Billy's plate. Nobody to keep him with. Bad grammar, by the way. This is what she's telling me, that this was written in bad grammar. It says we will pay for little Billy's plate. Nobody to keep him with. His dad's in the wedding. And in order for little Billy's mom to be there, we have to bring little Billy. He's 13 years old, thanks, Billy's mom. Unless Billy's parents slash our groomsmen want to pay $200 for his plate, I guess he can come. This is troublesome. Our groomsmen are not paying for anything in this wedding. We paid for all the tuxedos, and even though the groomsmen haven't really done anything, we even busted out with nice gifts for the rehearsal.
So this really upsets us. Just because he is our groomsman doesn't give him the right to invite someone else. This 13-year-old will be the only 13-year-old there. He'll be able to hang out with our 5-year-old ring bearer, who is my fiancé's nephew. By law, his nephew has to be at my reception. What do we do? If you want anonymous. I think they're trying to be sarcastic, I guess. I don't know. Anyway, so that's P1 Anonymous. And let's get takes. 570-1053 or 35253. I want to know what people think of that. Eddie, what's your thoughts? Well, you know, here's the deal. You know, I got married last year. And when you're going through the process, there are so many things that seem like they're super important to you. And little things and things like this, which may or may not be little to you, are like.
blown way out of proportion. And the day of your wedding, it's the last thing on your mind. I wouldn't have noticed if there was a Doberman running around. I mean, there was so much going on. And we actually did the same thing. We had a room set up where the kids were going to go. And we had a babysitter and everything. And kids ended up, like their parents went and got them and brought them into the reception. looking back now to me seems like what the heck we said no kids and they went and got their kids and brought them up but i didn't even notice it really so in the grand scheme of things it's really not that big of a deal it's disrespectful by that person but what are you going to do cause a a giant fight right before your wedding over something so insignificant i mean it really is insignificant and and the day of you're not even you're it won't even be a thought in your head so i say just Who cares? Skye, what do you think? Oh, well, I can one-up this story for my wedding. Hello. Uh-oh. We invited my husband's great aunt and sent her the invitation with her name on it, plus guest. And, you know, on the little RSVP card, it, you know, has the place to put your name, and then it says number of guests that will attend. She put in eight. Holy shit. Eight. And then on the back of the RSVP card, listed all the...
The seven, you know, her name was on the front and then seven names on the back. What is a matter with people? Yeah, eight. And it was definitely an issue between me and the hubby. Because I'm like, dude, like, my parents are paying for this wedding, you know, eight, eight people. If that were this wedding, that's $1,600. Eight people. That's a lot of money. Yeah. Dude. Was anything said? No. My husband, my husband said. They're bringing people. Yeah, my husband didn't want to acknowledge it. He said, yeah, I know this sucks, but, you know, I don't want to hurt any feelings. And these people technically are all family. But it was like, you know, it's like second cousins, third cousins, like people he sees every like six years. What was his take on why that, you know, he thought they did that?
Because his great aunt just, you know, thought this is a family event and these people are family and they didn't receive invitations, so she's going to put them on theirs. Wow. Yeah, it really, like, it blew my mind. Because, you know, because my parents were doing the wedding, so all the RSVP cards went to my mom and she, you know, called me up. She's like, yeah, you may want to come over and look at this. I don't know what this is about. But, you know, it was really important to him that we didn't say anything and cause trouble. So we didn't. And they all came and had a lovely time. I think this will be something important for everybody listening to hear. And that is, you've all heard the phrase, you know what, I really like that guy because he really gets it. We've all heard that phrase before, right? And usually, if you get it, you know what that means. This person gets it because you get it. Okay. It's very important for us to remember. Not everybody gets it. That is for sure. Not everybody gets it. Skye's hubby's great aunt, she didn't get it. And not everybody gets it, you know? And so that's a deal. That's why on the invitation it says your name plus guest. Or sometimes if it just says your name, then you're the only one invited. You're not allowed to bring a guest. Pay attention. It happened at my brother's wedding too.
People just showing up? Well, yeah. It was the same RSVP situation. And it was my brother's friend from college. And she just hand wrote in, plus my boyfriend. Oh, dude. And my brother let it go. And so the boyfriend came. Well, wait a minute. Did it say you plus guest? It said, no, no, no. It was just her name. It was just her name. He was just inviting her name. And so she hand wrote in, plus my boyfriend. And brought him. But my brother, same thing, Eddie. He was like, that is the last thing on my mind right now. Did you guys know that when Sean got married, that monkey brought a guest? Sean had a monkey there that was a greeting. It was an orangutan? It was an orangutan. So he's doing his orangutan stuff everywhere. He was a trained monkey. He was there with his trainer. Yes, he was. Yeah, he was. Did the trainer RSVP? He was hired to work the event. Oh, I feel so foolish. That's right. The monkey made like these little noises. It was really things like. Like a dolphin? Well said. I don't remember. Okay. Could not agree with Eddie more on this. Listen, you got to ask yourself risk reward too. Is it worth it? If you want, you can go, I can make a big deal out of this. And you can. If you want, you can make it a gigantic deal.
Or you can do what Eddie and Sky did and you can go, it's just not worth it. In the big scheme of things, it's just not worth it. You suck it up. In fact, if you are not married right now, if you're not married and you're thinking about getting married, if I were you, when I'm putting the budget together, put a little extra in there for and just label it stuff. You never know. Yeah, because stuff is going to happen. That's just going to require some dough that you didn't think about before. And chances are there's going to be a no-show who's going to be able to cover that cost from their no-show. There's always no-shows. Yeah, it was a no-show. Where? Kim's wedding. Oh, yeah. That's why she hated me for many years. Many, many years. I said I was going and I didn't go. So, 570-1053, what do you think? P1 Joe. Hi, Mikey. Hi. Hey, I'm married with three kids and myself, and whenever we go out with friends or everything, they know when they invite us, they're inviting our children too. Okay. But isn't that different when you're going out to dinner and they have prior knowledge of you than getting married? Aren't they different going out to dinner and a wedding? If this guy's a groomsman, then obviously they know this guy. They know his background. They know he has a kid.
It's a 13-year-old kid. It's not a grown man. You've never heard of a babysitter? Yeah, but it's not always that easy. I understand. You have plenty of notice. Does P1 Joe have a point? Do they not know the situation? Now, I'm not saying that that makes it right, for sure. I'm not saying that that makes it right, because I don't think it is right. But there is something to be said for the whole... I can't believe this. Oh, my goodness. Like, well, what I'm talking about is I'm not saying, well, they know he has a kid. Forget that part. But don't they know him? See, because usually when you know a person, their behavior doesn't surprise you. You know what I mean? Like, let's say, for instance, that I invited Sean to my wedding and Sean shows up and he's got on rubber gloves. And I'm like, I can't believe that this guy wore, I mean, on this day with all these pictures and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's not about the gloves. It's about the decision. And are you really that shocked about the decision? I mean, depending on how well you know, maybe they don't even, you know, she's describing the story. And maybe she doesn't really know Billy's mom that well. You know, maybe.
The groomsmen and her are recently married and she doesn't know him that well. Or maybe she doesn't know Billy that well. Or the guy's dad that well. The groomsmen. Maybe. I don't know. But if you do, the surprise is the thing that maybe she's got a point about. Now, check this out, too. What do you think? Where's your guy's temperature on this one? In the email. Our groomsmen are not paying for it. anything in this wedding. We paid for all the tuxedos, and even though the groomsmen haven't really done anything, we even busted out with nice gifts for the rehearsal. One thing that I'm hearing here is, we're doing this, so how come not this? I'm hearing that for sure. Remember this phrase, expectations are resentments under construction. They're just not done yet. They got a big sign out in the front of them that says, we'll be here soon. That's what an expectation is. Expectation here is, we're doing a bunch of cool stuff for the groomsmen. So, because we're doing a cool stuff for the groomsmen, what is that voice, by the way? Does anybody know? Does anybody really know what that voice is? Is it Mickey Mouse? A little bit. So, let's say that for this exercise, Mickey Mouse came out to illustrate it, okay? And so, Mickey said, hi, guys. Maybe we shouldn't. Strange. Yeah, I'm going to decide not to use Mickey as to illustrate.
goofy so anyway yeah but you can't if you make the decision to do something you can't necessarily expect them to behave whatever way you deem fit does that mean that there are some pretty does that mean that there is not some pretty reasonable expectations that we can make? Yeah, we can make some reasonable expectations. When you go through a drive-thru, you don't expect the person that's giving you the drink to throw it in your face. That's a reasonable expectation. And so if you go through a drive-thru and you order a Coke and they throw it in your face... That's a reasonable expectation that has not been met. What about fries? Yeah, what about fries? Fries are a different story because they're... Oh, wait a minute. Eddie just... I know what that was. Eddie is like, hang on a second. I worked at a fast food... This is Eddie talking. I worked at a fast food place when I was a teenager and some jerk threw fries at me. He did? I forgot about that. So Ashley is...
She's getting the stairs. She's getting the stairs. Oh, no. Eddie just gave me the break sign. Oh, this time. But in that break sign, he also gave me a face. And the face said, I guess this is the way we're playing today. Look on Eddie's face said to me, I guess all bets are off. You can text us at 35253 or you can call us at 570-1053. Both are available to you. And we got calls lined up. Call us, 570-1053. Listen, this P1's upset. $200 a plate, and they invite the groomsman, and the groomsman responds and says, oh, yeah, we're bringing our 13-year-old to this no-kid wedding. Got to. Couldn't get a babysitter. We're glad for the food on your plate. Back after this. So I listen to you guys every single day.

Mark Martin's set to leave DEI and will replace Casey Mears to drive the number five car next year. Mikey, when my girlfriend's good family friend got married.
They made sure to put me in the RSVP. They should have expected to invite the whole immediate family. I don't understand that text. That doesn't make sense to me. Somebody can probably explain it, but I don't know what that, I don't get it. Like, I guess maybe if you were married and have kids and just you got invited? Says my girlfriend's good family friend got married. They made sure to put me in the RSVP. What does that mean? That like he was invited. Yeah. Okay, they made sure to invite him. Yeah. Right. Okay. They should have expected to invite the whole immediate family. What's weird about that is he's not the immediate family. No. I mean, not by any stretch of the imagination. The only reason he's invited is because it's his girlfriend's thing. You know what I mean? Hey, if you sent that text message, can you call us? 570-1053. I just want to have it explained because I just don't really understand. Unlock the code.
No, no, no. Don't tell me what you think. I want them to call. Okay. I do. 570-1053. That's the only reason I'm saying it because I really want to hear that. You might know what it is, but I want to hear them explain it. Here's another one. Mikey, does a 13-year-old really need a sitter? He's nearly in high school. He should be fine for a few hours alone. Depends on the kid. Yeah, I agree. I would say so. Yeah. Yeah, definitely depends on the kid. So, 570-1053. And the reason we're talking about it is because we got this email from P1 Anonymous that said, hey, I'm getting married. And we sent out invitations. This person sent back their deal. Well, one of the groomsmen sent back the invitation and said, we're coming and we're bringing our 13-year-old even though it's a no-kids wedding. Right. And she's like, what? Wah-wah-wee-wah. Wah-wah-wee-wah. P1 Chewbacca is on the line. What's up, Chewbacca? Sweet. I have a couple of points. Eddie already made one, which was, wasn't there such a thing as babysitters? Absolutely. My next point was, basically, they're offering to pay for the kid's plate of food. I mean, I guarantee you, a babysitter's going to cost a lot less than $200 for the plate of food they're going to pay for this kid. Let me tell you, bro, this is just an opinion. My opinion may be wrong, but in my opinion...
They have no intention of paying for that plate. And they never intended it when they wrote that, hand wrote that onto the... Couldn't agree more. I agree. They never intended to pay it. They're expecting them to say, oh, no, no, that's okay. We'll take care of little Billy. Yeah. I mean, please. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, what would happen, what would have to happen is the married couple go to them and say, okay. We're collecting on the bill now for Billy, which is not going to happen. And they're not going to offer up the dough to pay for it, so it's just going to go away. In fact, it would be offensive to the groomsmen if anybody came to them and said, oh, man, it was so cool that you offered to do that, man, because we've got to collect on that. That would be so offensive. I'll take my two bills now. Yeah, that would be tacky, probably. Which is more tacky? Yes. Yes, absolutely. Are you kidding? Ashley says that her brother got married in a totally eco-friendly wedding. Skye, you should love that. Oh, boy. You should have been there, Skye. Like, you should have been my guest. Mark, he messed up my freaking video on the post. I wouldn't have messed it up. Hey, did they get a limo? A limo? Yeah. Oh, heavens. No way, right? They rode a horse. They rode yours. Everything was done by them. Like, Sana made the invitations. Like, Han wrote them herself.
The place cards, like the names on the dinner tables, like Sana hand wrote those, like my brother. If you're just tuning in, her brother married a Danish girl. Her name is Sana. Everything was green, like all the imitations were green. So they used mud? Like why is that eco-friendly? Well, recycled paper. How do you know she didn't say that? She did. He said she hand wrote them. Rob just asked her. Is that true? Recycled paper. I don't know. Or was it just green colored? Green colored. No. Okay. This guy just made that face like, thanks a lot. No, I know. Sorry. I was referring to the expenses because everything was super cheap. Like, they hired everyone from within. Like, the photographer was their friend. That doesn't make it eco-friendly. I don't understand. If your friend is green. Mike made a comment. The Hulk was the photographer. He's green. He's totally green. It's completely green. No, but, like, you know, for example, like, you know how every guest gets a gift? Yeah. Like, the gift was they planted a tree for everyone. So, like, 140 trees were planted. Oh, I'd be disappointed. I'm sorry. Stop it. As opposed to what? Like, a cookie? Rob's at his table and he's like, what? A tree? Are you kidding me what it is? A tree? Which one of these is mine? I'm cutting it down and taking it home. There you go. Oh, no. That's great.
Things like that. They were just, they were very environmentally aware. Sounds like it. Everything. They definitely were. And they bought, like, organic. They went to, like, everything that was bought, like, in terms of the food for the wedding, from the appetizers to the wedding cake, everything was bought at local stores. And everything was organic. Wow. Look at that. Ash, where's my DCC? Where's my... Oh. Every week now. He doesn't want it. Every week now. We've canceled it. It's been canceled. Do you want that offer? Listen, it's up to you. It's a volunteer basis. We're doing a volunteer basis now. Eddie, what are you looking for? So you can throw it at me? He's wanting to throw a pen. Eddie throws a pen at the window at Ashley. Yeah, he chucks it at my face. But there's glass separating them, so it never makes it. I wish. Never gets there.
Is it up there? It's loading. Oh. Buffering. Buffer. We had a lot going on in here. Buffer the dot com. Every Monday, though? Let it buffer. I know. Mondays are tough. I don't know what's wrong with me. What time did you go to bed? Last night. I went to bed like nine. But I was exhausted. So that means 11.15. Exhausted from the wedding. Oh, 11.15, you're tripping. What time did you go to bed? For real, nine? Nine. For real, nine. For real, nine. What time did you get up? What time did I get up? Well, then let's do this. If that's the deal, let's do this then. I'm not taking my Adderall. You give it like the birth control pill. You've got to take it every day. I don't like to. It makes me feel like I'm on crack. Ashley, first of all, you take the orange one, right? Yeah. Do the blue one. It's 10 milligrams less. You're taking too much. I think you're right. No wonder it whacks you out. Yeah, it really does. I don't like it. Tell your doc she's taking too much. Start pouring half of it out and taking it every day. Okay. What do you think of the dumb chick challenge? I'm ready for it. Sounds good. It's pretty cool. It's fun. This is the way that it's played. It's Skye, Ashley, and Boston Rob. Boston Rob used to be super good at this. Wow. It was so on. What happened? And Skye was not as good. Now she kills it every week. And Boston Rob hasn't won in a long time.
Ashley has not won for a while. In a year. In about a year. I think we're even past the year point. It might be. Well, the way that it works is that you've got to get to five points. The goal for Sky, Ashley, and Rob is to get to five points. And they have one, two, and three-point questions. What are you doing? You and Eddie throwing barbs at each other? What's going on? So, 5-7-0. 105.3. All you do, you pick a horse. Who do you want? You want Skye? You want Ash? You want Ron? Come on, man. Come on, pick somebody. It's real easy. P1 Squeaks. That's me. Who would you like? I'm going to pick Skye. Oh. Squeaks. Well, that's a smart move. Awesome. Hang on the line. P1 Truffle Shuffle. Yummy. Good morning. How are you? Good. How are you doing? Good. Who would you like?
Boston Rob. You got it. The Riz. Hang on. Ponce. What up, guys? You got Ashley. I guess. Oh. It's going to be different. She hasn't won in a year. I understand where he's coming from. It's going to be different, though. But, I mean, shouldn't he at least try and encourage her if he wants any hope of winning? Hello? I mean, give some encouragement. What's the point? Maybe this will be the time. This might be the time. Let's do this. No, you do not be defeated. You are going to have confidence here. And that confidence is going to carry you to a victory. Now, Eddie, who are we starting with? The Riz. Yeah, all right. Boston, Rob, you want a one, two, or three? One, two, or three-point question. Rob, calm down. Okay. He's freaking out. You can tell. I know what he's thinking about. Freaking out. Don't do what you're thinking. Not the high board yet. Let's start off with the two. See, he usually always starts at a three. Oh, yeah.
Even when he was doped up on Vicodin, he shot for the three. First question's history. Oh. All right. Riz, riz, riz. Perfect. Feeling it. Rob, the shot heard around the world was the start of what war? This is worth two points if you get it correct. Let me think about this because right away my mind jumped to the answer. I don't like when I do that. I know because, you know, I make bad decisions. You betray yourself. I do. That's right. Was it the Revolutionary War? It was, Rob. Look at that. You are correct. Sky, take some notes today. Take some notes today, Sky. I love history. I wish Sky would have got that question. Awesome. Dang it. Now we go to Sky, and Sky has a system. She's got to switch it up now. I mean, Rob's on the board with two. Well, she goes two point, two point, and then one. Even Ashley gave herself a look right then that was said, why did I do that? Oh, no, I'm 100% okay with that. All right.
I would like a two-point, please. You got it. Sky, you got it. Hey, stop it. Okay. He'll mess up next time. Sky, I got good vibes on this one for you. That always makes me nervous. How many boroughs is New York? Oh, very easy. Wow. Very easy. What? What is a borough? Okay. You mean donkey? Shut up. I like carne asada. It's pronounced burrito. Yes. And there are millions. So I have no clue what number popping into my head. I see. Numbers. Use your psychic abilities. Like at first. Shut up. My first thought was seven, but now something's telling me 12. Stop laughing. at me. I can't remember if it's The Disciples or the movie with Brad Pitt. Or Baker's Dozen or something. Yes. I'm going to go 12. Oh, Skye. I don't know. Well, Skye, count them out. Do you know what the Burroughs are? I know some of them. Okay, name a couple. Aren't we talking about Brooklyn? There's one.
And Queens. That's two. And is Manhattan one? There's three. Harlem? No. Not a borough. Where my mom lives. Your mom lives in Harlem? No. One of them is where my mom lives. Oh, oh, oh. I see what you're saying. Boston. Ashley's saying New York. No. Say New York. And why? See, that's all I got. Sky, there are five. Here are the five boroughs. You could name three, but you thought there were 12. I thought all these different little pockets were boroughs. There's just five of them. You got your queens. The five boroughs. That's right. You got your queens. You got your Brooklyn. You forgot the Bronx. The Bronx. The Bronx. You know who's in the Bronx? Tough white guys. That's who's in the Bronx, all right? That's right. They drive Irox and they wear jeans. Yeah, forget about it. They also wear shiny sunglasses and go to schools. Sometimes we wear, like, running suits. Yeah, every once in a while. You forgot about Staten Island. Oh, yeah. Staten Island. And in Manhattan. Five bros. New York.
Unique New York. By the boroughs of New York. That's right. Thank you, Eddie. You proved two points. Okay. Ashley, what are you going to do? Oh, no. Eddie just turned his back on her. And Ash put her head to the side. Her jaw dropped open like you can't mean this. Don't do it. Don't do this, S. He's my base coach, and I need him right now. So he needs to let go of any resentment that he has from previous things I said on the air. I'm very angry with you. Oh, my goodness. Ashley's dog was just being shown on the Today Show. You don't even start. Ashley's dog was just being shown on the Today Show. There he is. It is. It is. Come take a look, Ashley. 100% her dog. Come on. Come take a look. Oh, my. There's Ashley's dog. Okay. That is true. Like your dog. Like Sammy. Except not. That one's not fat. Exactly. We need one that's morbidly obese.
All right, so Rizzle, you're up. You're the only... Oh, Ashley's up. No, no, no. No, come on, Ash. You're going to nail it right here. One, two, or three. What do you want? All right, you got it, Ash. Come on, Ashley. Totally, why not? Ashley, where is the thyroid gland located? Oh, well, there you go. You got this. Ash is, she's pinching. She's got the back of her palm against her forehead. Where is it located? Nebraska. Sherman Oaks, right? Is Sherman Oaks? She's talking through it. She's talking through it. Go with your gut. Final answer. Give me your final answer. I'll give you time. I just need one. You gave me three.
Is this your, you got to give me a final. Is that, what's your final answer? She's so, she is so torn right now. You can see it. Her face is in her hand. Her face is in her hand. You're a big deal, Mike. It's a dress and leggings. That's all it is. It's just a dress and leggings. You can do it. Oh, she wants to cry. You can tell. I mean, this is upsetting. Come on. Come on. You got it. Where is it? Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry,
Because I knew it was in my neck. Why didn't you say your neck? There it is. It's the dress and leggings. I'm telling you right now, it's the dress and leggings. It's a piggy. See, even you know. Boston, Rob. It's the dog. It's her dog, Sammy. It's her morbidly obese dog. Boston, Rob. One, two, or three-point question. You're the only person with points right now with two points. Go easy, Rob. Go easy. Yeah. I don't know if I could get a three-point. Take your time, Riz. Take your time. Go easy. Don't worry, I will. Easy, girl. Let me have another two. He's taking Sky's tactic. Your two-point question is, which South American river is also considered the longest in the world? That look said, I don't know this, Mike. He's concentrating. He is concentrating right now. That look on his face is concentration.
I know this, but I certainly do. He's second-guessing himself. Yeah. I'm having a lot of trouble right now. The neck. Yeah. I'm going to say the neck, Mike. Which South American river? No, river. River. No, I said river. R-I-V-E-R. R-I-V-E-R. R-I-V-E-R. Anunciate the R. Come on, Rob. I'm trying. Oh, man. All right, now I don't think I know. What time do you need the answer? I'm thinking there's an Amazon River, maybe, or there's a Colombian River. Eddie, what do I do in this situation? I don't know. You should always say that final answer. Okay, final answer? Amazon. You are correct. He only needs one more point to win a full game. He's using Sky's system.
Well, Eddie, what do you mean watch this? Because she's yawning. That's not a good sign. She's yawning. With a giggle. Yawn, then giggle. Never a good sign. Yawn, giggle, not good. You're trying to win for somebody. You know what's up. This is wrong. What's up? Sky, come on. Good morning. Catch up. You asked for a two. You got it wrong. I know your system is 2-2-1, but you can't do that anymore. You can do a three. Literally, you've got to win in two. You only have a chance. You've got to win in two. But it's not going to make any difference. You've got to get a two or a three. Oh, Rob's going to get a one wrong. You can do it. He's an idiot. That is a legitimate point. Legitimate point. You're so dumb. I'm not going to get a three. I mean, I did know a thyroid. I didn't know that one. Bang it out. Fine, whatever. Are you ready? Get a load of this answer, everybody. Maddie, come on. Come on. All right, Skye. What two colors does a colorblind person have trouble distinguishing? What two colors? She's thinking. She's got her head down. Oh, now she's got her fist to her lips, and she's shaking her head now. It's been said before. I know, and that's what's making me angry. Think about it. It's been said before.
Don't take as long as Rob usually does, but definitely think about it. Yeah, you got this. Meaning don't take 40 minutes like Rob does. Right. Okay. But definitely think about it. Well, immediately two colors came to mind, but I don't think they're right, Eddie. I think they are. Green and blue. Is that your final? Yes. It's not green and blue. It's green and red. Oh. See? It's green and red. You were close. I can't give out the half points anymore. I would. No. That did not go over well with anybody last time. Sky, you know, in my heart, I give you a point and a half. Wait a minute. What is that? I'm getting... Wait a minute. The two of these, Eddie and Ashley, right now are giving each other hand signals that we can't talk about on the air. We can't say what these hand signals are on the air. Whoa. That's a weird one. The way you showed that one, the both of you, was a very rude way.
To show the number one. It's not that ladylike. It was not ladylike at all. It was not ladylike at all. I would like a three. Oh, wow. She said that. She said that with confidence. Wow. Leg. Yeah. Ash, your three-point question is. Padoopadoop. Okay. Gin gets its distinctive flavor from the berry. Phrase this right. Gin gets its distinctive flavor from the berry-like cones from what kind of tree? A tree that's a pine cone. But I'm not going to say that. Is it the Seagram's tree? The tinkery bush. Question one more time. May I? May you please? Yes. Gin gets its distinctive flavor.
From the berry-like cones, from what kind of tree? Madonna's bra. Is it the Bombay Sapphire? What did she say? She didn't say olive. I'll quit if she did. Take that pin out of your nose. That's not going to help. You can do it, Ash. Is that her answer? Pine cone. That's not right. Olive cone. Olive's not right. I'm out of it. What do you want to say? That's the only cones I know. Olive cone and pine cone. Is it a snow cone, Mike? It's the juniper tree. It's the juniper tree. She squinted and immediately went, what is that? What is that? Pretty sure that was the stupidest, most non-effective to my personal life question that has ever been asked on these airwaves in the history of KIZ. It was. Thank you.
Robert? One. Yeah, that a boy. Yeah. You're dumb. Dude, these girls haven't scored one point, Rob. No one scored? Nope, just you. I thought Sky did. No. You got a half a point, though, with Mike, right? In Mike's heart. Yeah, in Mike's heart. One and a half points. Nice of him. Thank you. Rob, your one-point question is, oh, they were referenced earlier. Which of the 12 apostles is known for his betrayal of Jesus to the Romans? Judas. That is correct. Have you ever heard of Judas? Was that in a different language? You guys have never heard of Judas? Judas Priest? I've heard of Judas from the show Weeds. That is not the same one. Rob, you have just won for Truffle Shuffle. You're so good. Eddie, what did Truffle Shuffle win? We got a WWE pay-per-view coming up this weekend. Awesome. Nice. Congratulations, Truffle Shuffle. Hang on the line, will you?

It's just all backed up from El Norte Parkway through West Condito down to Via Rancho Parkway. Reduced speeds again in the Rancho Bernardo.
As you make that turn on the westbound 56, you're okay through Rancho Penasquitos, but it comes at you right around Camino del Sur for a slow ride here through Carmel Valley all the way over to the 5 Freeway. The westbound 52, you're doing okay out of Santee. Once you get in past the 805, they're going through San Clemente Canyon. Watch for the backup around Regents Road heading to the 5. The 8 Freeway westbound isn't too bad, munching up just a bit as you make that turn on the 805 Freeway. Another slowdown around Mission Center Road. And now you'll find a bit of a slowdown again from Morano Boulevard. to the 5 freeway. That's because northbound 5, a little tight here, coming out of Old Town into Mission Bay. Out of the South Bay, 805 northbound, still backing up right around Ilcombe Boulevard, but heavier still from the 163, heading up to Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. Hulkster's in the house. Well, yeah. He's really excited. He didn't know that the Hulk did songs. Well, Boston Rob is a guy that puts in our music beds for us. I mean, is he out of his... Yes. Do you want me to put something in there slower for you? That Hulk did? Right below it, if you want to change it up. What is... This one's for the ladies. This is one of those things where even, like, his biggest fans were disappointed. Hulkster in heaven? What? Eddie, do you remember the storyline? Dude, I don't even know what that's from. I don't know if he put out an album himself or... That is crazy. That's crazy. Weird. So funny. A little Hulkster stuff for you. I can tell you, Mike, it's not from the album Piledriver, which I owned. What is that? What is Piledriver, Eddie? What is that? It was an album by the WWF superstars back in the day. I picked that up.
It was awesome. Really? Yeah. What was on it? Them singing all of their songs. That is unbelievable. It really was. That is unbelievable. You had the old JYD and... What? JYD. Junkyard Dog. Okay. You guys act like you don't know who JYD is. Well, I don't. It's hysterical. That's cute. Skye's got on her JYD t-shirt right now. May he rest in peace. I've got my WWJYD wristband on. That's right. What would the junkyard dog do? Probably headbutt, yeah. Was that his signature move, Eddie? It kind of was, yeah. Headbutt? Headbutt. He would get on all fours. Hey, family show. Dude, please. Little ears. People respect you. Thank you. Thank you. You're the Oracle member. Here's the track list. Here's the track list. Well, song number one was, of course, Robbie Dupree, who I was a fan of, actually. He did the song Steal Away. But this one, though, was Robbie Dupree and Strikeforce. That's Tito Santana and I believe it was Rick Martel.
Tito Santana. And they did a song called Girls in Cars. Former WWE Tag Team Champions. Hey, that's enough. Track two, Eddie had this album. Track two was Coco Beware. Coco Beware, who would bring in his pet parrot, Frankie, to the ring. Why did you have it? I don't know what he's doing. He's doing, now he's doing gesturing. Eddie's gesturing and the gestures. This is the worst. Frankie? You already told us. Frankie the parent. Oh, if I click on this, I think I can get a picture. Don't click on it. No, wait. Hold on. I can go back. I can go back, guys. I wanted a picture. Come on. I wanted a picture. You can do that after. Pitchers that you put beer in are a person that throws a ball at a baseball game. You'll never change it. I know it. You'll never change it. You can try. Please continue. Track three. It's not going to happen. If you try, you can waste your breath. Track three was, of course, the honky-tonk man. Oh, yeah, everybody remembers the old honky-tonk man. Former intercontinental champion. I don't know what that means. Was he a black guy, honky-tonk man? Mike, does the honky-tonk man sound like a black name? I don't know. Absolutely not. He was the guy that looked like Elvis. All right. Track four was the wrestler. Wait, what? I got more information for you. Dude, I mean, like.
Did you hear Frankie? Yes, the parrot. I got it. Come on, Sky. We're almost done. Number four, track number four, Derringer, with his song, Demolition. Oh. And he just remembered. Like a, you know, it's like a memory from his childhood. A pleasant, pleasant memory. That's right. Remember Demolition, Axe and Smash? Oh, yeah. And they brought in Crush afterwards? Yep, I do remember that. They were the kind of WWE's ripoff of the Road Warriors. Track five was from Slick, and he sang Jive Soul Bro. Slick, Mike, you'll like this. Slick was a manager. Manager. Very skinny, tall black man who kind of was pimpish a little bit. He sang the song Jive Soul Bro. Slick. Loved Slick. Slick. He was cool. Who could forget Jimmy Hart? Yeah. Track six. That's right. He sang Crank It Up. And then track seven, Hillbilly Jim and Gertrude. Hillbilly Jim. Very famous, Mike. Hillbilly Jim was in the crowd once and was picked out of the crowd to wrestle a giant Hulk of a man. Wrestled in overalls. Is that right? He would have been my favorite. Yeah, he was good. Next up, Vince McMahon. And he sang the song Stand Back. I would love if we could find a copy of that. Oh, we can. Stand Back is a great song. If it's in the system, Rob, take a look. I remember when he performed that on the Slammy Awards. No, you do not. Oh, yeah, he does.
Next up. Sky, any questions? We're almost done, Sky. There's only 10 tracks. Sky's reading. The USA Today has an awesome article about the Flowbox. All right. Sky's reading. What was that song? I don't remember. That's really cool. Stand Back with the Vince McMahon. It's on the back of the life section if you're looking for it. Love them. They're the best. What else we got? Anything by Bruce the Barber Beefcake? No, Eddie. There's only two tracks left. Okay, what do we got? Track nine was Mean Gene Okerlund. Yeah, Mean Gene. And they're enduring. They sang the rock and roll hoochie coo together. So wait a minute. So they covered some songs. They weren't all original. Did Vince McMahon cover Stevie Nicks? Stand back, stand back, stand back. Did he do that? I don't think that was that. That's the only thing in the system, Stevie Nicks. And then finally, it was WWF Superstar. So I'm guessing they got, it was like, we are the world. It was Nikolai Volkov, I believe. Ashley just looks confused. This is really tough for me right now. The song they sang was If You Only Knew. Was it a ballad? I can't remember. Yes, you can, Eddie. Don't pretend you can't remember what that album was, what that cassette was like. It was actually a record. You had a record. It was an LP. You put it on, the needle on it, and then you enjoyed it. The cover was Hulk Hogan in a hard hat, I believe.
Oh, yeah, yeah. Check this out. It really is. Oh, my gosh. Oh, man. Rob is showing me the cover of it. Really cool, Ashley. I can't think of anything more offensive than that. And it looks like he's been wearing, you know, he's filthy dirty with a hard hat on. He's a power driver. And a white wife beater. And he's got on, like, a gold, you know, necklace. Of course, always. Why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't you? How about the mustache, dude? Well, the mustache is rocking. But then also with Hulk Hogan. His eyes are real wide open. But also with Hoco, you can tell he's been wearing goggles, work goggles, because that's the only clean place on his face. Yeah, for sure. So he's been wearing work goggles. Yeah, he's probably in the coal mines. In the coal mines. I don't know. That's good. I don't know. Anyway. Hoco beware. What's up, man? Hoco beware. That's some interesting stuff. I believe you don't remember him, Rock. Welcome back to the show. Our phone number here, 570-1053, and our text is 35253. So you can text us as well. Oh, my God. Did you see Frankie the parrot? Yeah. Of course. It's a black dude with a sweatband and a parrot. Oh, yeah. What's he up to now, you think? I think he still wrestles on smaller, tiny little circuits. Come on, Rob. Oh, I can't.
There you go, Mike. Oh, my goodness. What you looking at now? Bring the boots back, buddy. Oh, dude, yes. Look at Frankie. He's crazy. Don't show that to Skye. She'll get a fever. You know what the fever's for. Skye, take a look. You know what that fever is. I got a fever. The only prescription is my cow bed. I think she was more of a headband. More of a natural Butch Reed type of a girl. Can you Google an image of natural Butch Reed for me, Rob? And we'll take a look and see if Sky would go more. Or maybe Kamala. Natural Butch Reed. Please. Rob, after that, look up Kamala. Click the first picture. Kamala, the Ugandan giant. Click the first picture. That's a Sky type of a... Can we please talk about something relevant? Oh, my. Oh, good Lord. This one, Rob. Second row, first picture. Yeah, that's a Skye. Here you go, Skye. That's a Skye fella. What do you think? Is that? You got to get a full body shot. What are we looking at? It's like some tribal looking guy. Like face paint. Come on, Riz. There you go. Skye, what do you think? And he has stars. Well, it looks like it looks kind of like it looks like rerun from what's happening with no shirt on and tribal face paint.
Yeah, he's Ugandan. I mean, it's tribal paint. Come on. You know, their culture. I mean, give me a break already. Yes, give me a break. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. So we didn't say who the NFL player was that got the DUI. Who is it, Eddie? Mike, da freak, Javon Kurse. Oh. He got the DUI. Javon Kurse. One of the things about him when he was coming out in the draft was he has these enormous hands. He does. So when Eddie and I were in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, this guy was there too. That was the hurricane incident. That was the Super Bowl. Was it not Super Bowl? No, it was boot camp. Boot camp. I was in New Orleans. So this was Super Bowl then. Javon Curse, we walked into a restaurant, and he was sitting there. And his hands were enormous. Yeah. engulfed our hands. From his hand, from palm to the tip of his middle finger is about 12 inches. Did you say something to him? Of course I didn't. I would never in a million years. But, you know, I was thinking it. But yeah, Javon cursed, so he's in trouble, huh? Titans. Back with the Titans. A bunch of wildfires up in Northern California and lightning.
sparked a whole bunch of them. Yeah, they say like 500 fires were sparked from lightning. Five square miles have burned up in wine country. Let's see, west of Morgan Hill and Gilroy, which is south of San Jose, about two square miles burned there. Yeah, my family up there says that a bunch of ash is all over the cars everywhere up there. Oh, yeah. You can smell it in the air. It's real thick. Oh, Sean, tell that story about what happened with you and the whole deal. Yeah. So it's like 5.30, 6 o'clock on Saturday night. And there's, I think I've told you before, there's like this hill behind our house. And so we look up there and some person is walking around. On this hill. And you have to understand, it's very dry up there. It's not unlike any kind of dry farmland you might see. We've got to tell people Sean lives in the Bay Area. So we're talking about these Bay Area fires that are going on. Sean lives up there. And we said how many, right, Sky? You said how many? Yeah. 500 of these sparked by lightning. Yeah. But anyways.
We've had a lot in the area where I live that have been started by an arsonist. There's an arsonist going around starting fires. So there's some guy walking around, and this is a wildlife preserve, so no one should be up there at any time. So we're kind of watching him. We're watching him for about a half an hour, and he's got a backpack, and he's walking around, and he's picking things up and putting it in his backpack. And so I go and I get my video camera, and I start videotaping this guy just in case. You know, I don't know. It's kind of weird that way. He walks up to kind of the crest of the hill, takes off his backpack, puts it down, and walks away. Oh, whoa. Oh, God. Creepy. Right? Yeah. Weird. And so my wife and I, you know, immediately got really nervous, and so we called the police. So the cops come out. We're talking to the cop, and he's like, yeah, we've had like 17 fires started by this arsonist. And we point out where the backpack is. He goes up there. It takes about maybe about 20 minutes for him to get all the way up there. As soon as he gets up there and picks up the backpack, all of a sudden the guy that dropped it comes walking around. There's like a bend right there. And so the cop gets him. They're talking. And he brings him down to the bottom of the hill. Turns out this guy lives like three doors down from us.
And he's about probably 60, 65 years old, some old guy from Vietnam. And he was up there picking up golf balls because there's like a golf course on the other side of the hill. And I guess when people hit, they like hit them over and they fall, you know, in this one area. So he's up there picking up golf balls. Do you know what his explanation was for leaving his backpack? Yeah, he told the cop that he wanted to go for a walk, but he didn't want to carry the heavy bag. And the cop said it was really heavy. So he had their balls in there. What did he do with the balls? I don't know. My guess was he would take them back to the course and maybe get a little bit of money for them. I don't know. Wow. That would have freaked me out. Yeah, for sure. John McCain is proposing. A $300 million prize for the invention of a better car battery. Yeah, he said that that would equal about, you know, $1 per person in the country. If everyone were to chip in one buck, you know, it would be about $300 million. And he thinks that, you know, that would be a great exchange for new technology into a car battery.
Yeah, I don't know if he's specifically talking about an electric battery, you know, to get us off the dependence of oil. I hope that's what he's talking about. I assume that's what he's talking about. Can you smell what the Mac is cooking? He's also proposing stiffer fines on automakers who managed to get around fuel efficiency standards. And this is all stuff that he is going to be speaking about today when he gives a speech in Florida. I know he's a global warming guy. Yeah. McCain, you know, is... So we got two guys that are running for president that both believe in the global warming issue. Love it. And want to do something about it. So, you know, Ashley says, go green. Well said. One of my favorite songs when I was in high school. I listen to it all the time. Love the video with the news in the sand. Yeah. All the news was in the sand with Ray-Bans on. Up to their heads. Yeah, up to their heads. Tragically lost all three of them during the making of that. Yeah, they did. Text us at 35253, and you can give us a call at 570-1053. You know what we're going to do next? We're going to swab the control board here in the studio. Oh, Sean is, oh, Sean looks, he looks filthified. The Steve Carell comedy Get Smart was the number one movie this weekend, making $39.2 million. Padres didn't do so good against the Tigers. They lost again yesterday, 5-3. $39.2 million is a pretty good amount of money. Oh, no. Mike Myers, the love guru, came in at number four. Holy moly. Making $14 million in its opening weekend. Oh, wow. Number four. That's crazy. Oh, the studio's not happy. They're real unhappy for that take. America's over it. Yeah, you know what I think America thinks? Honestly, this is what I think America thought about the love guru. They're like, that voice isn't, that's just like, I'm not laughing. It's not funny. Right. It's boring. It's like, it's dorky. They go, yeah, it's not funny. That's dorky. So there it is. Okay. We're going to be swabbing the studio, but we'll be doing it in just a bit.
I said that there was a Helix High School advisor that's resigned amidst sex allegations. And what's the deal with this guy? Well, Helix High, man, I don't know what's going on over there. This is the fourth time in the last two years that a member of the faculty has come under fire for, you know, sexual misconduct with students. So, yeah, basically. This guy is accused, the father, you know, filed a police report saying that his 18-year-old daughter was having an inappropriate relationship with a teacher. He was charged and arrested. And it's very interesting because this same 18-year-old girl was also allegedly involved with a previous teacher who's also a Helix High teacher sex scandal thing. Yeah, the same girl. Two different teachers. Here's my question. In the other incident. The first one or the one that just. First one. Okay. In the first incident, was it her that spilled the beans or was it the dad? Because in the second one, it's the dad. Yeah. It's just, in my head, I'm just trying to imagine how this goes down. Girl goes to authorities and says, hey, here's what's going on. I guess. I don't know. Or.
Is it the, because in this case, it's the dad. Yeah, in this case, they specifically say it was the father who reported to police. So the first case, it was already out there and known that she had messed around with the teacher? Yeah, yeah. And that this guy has already, you know, been. I heard, I hope. Yeah, because with the dad one, you also wonder to yourself, I wonder how this information, how he got it. Did she tell him or did he discover it? What would get this very confusing? Here is. Doug Smith, the principal, talking about what the staff members there were saying. Cut 70. I don't think there was any indication in any of these employees that you could have stepped back and said, oh yeah, I could have told you that was going to occur. If it had, we wouldn't have employed them. This is the La Mesa Police Department spokesman, Lieutenant David Bond. Cut 71. What we're doing is we're looking to see if there is any other crimes related to...
The two suspects, Mr. Wilcox and Mr. Wynnum, in particular right now, Mr. Wynnum. Two guys? Well, Mr. Wynnum is the current guy. Oh, so it's two separate guys. Okay. Two separate guys. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That makes sense, obviously. Yeah. So two separate guys, same girl. Yes. And, you know, Mr. Wynnum's lawyer says that he's not, his client is not guilty and that, you know, it's reckless for them to have even filed these charges. He believes they didn't properly evaluate the claim before filing these charges and that he will be, you know, vindicated of this. Even if somebody gets vindicated, damage done. When you work with children, yeah. Please. It's over, man. It's such, I mean, if. It's a big if, but if he's innocent, terrible. Right. It sucks. You know? I mean, it's awful. Okay. You want to swab the studio? No. I don't really either. And Sean doesn't want us to. Sean's a germaphobe. This is going to freak me out. Sean should do it with his tongue. Shut up, dude. You know I don't like that stuff. You don't? Eddie. Come on. I'm being serious. Now, Zeth got us a kit.
Zeth has us a kit. It's got swabs in it. Yeah, bring it over here. He's got petri dishes and everything. Yeah, he's got the setup. Everything's nerd. I got reading. Hello, Beaker. Look at this. Zeth, how do you get this stuff, man? Online. Online? Yeah. Sean, you should have this at your disposal at all times. I don't know if I want to know that. Yeah, it's probably better for Sean not to know. You've got to picture what I'm looking at. These are real Petri dishes that look like they have this little thing on the bottom, put a culture or whatever. It's got like a solution in it. It's got a solution? Is that what's in there? Is it some kind of a what? It's like gel. It's powder, and you mix it with water, and it hardens up, and it makes it gel. Explain how it works, Dad. Yeah. Well, like, you put the, like, you swab whatever you want to swab. Okay. With the cod, let me see that. With the cod swab. Q-tip. And then you put it on the gel, and it has the culture for a few days, and the way the gel works is it will show the bacteria on it. Okay. Like, it'll just sit on top of it. So you'll actually see what is kind of living on there. And do you have a pen so you can label each dish? Yeah, I'm going to put tape on it. Okay. Holy moly. Never heard of it. First thing I'm going to swab is where my finger hits the button.
So I'm going to swab the actual button. Now, these buttons on a control board, they're plastic, and they're shaped like a little half oval for your fingertip, for your index finger to sit in perfectly. So that's what I'm going to swab because that's where my finger is all the time in there. So I'm taking the swab. And I'm getting it all real, real good. Who knows what's in here? That's some bad things. This is the first time it's ever been cleaned. Yeah. I was going to say, who knows when it's the last time it's been cleaned. All right. Let's see. No, I'm getting them. Disgusting already. I'm already. I'm already disgusting. What I'm really swabbing right now is like the main mic. The mic. It looks filthy. I can't touch it. You can't touch it. Yeah, don't touch it. Be very scientific. Now, it's going to take a couple of days, right? Yeah, it's got a culture. And twist the, you should twist. Oh, like moat. There you go. There you go. He's twisting the swab to really get. Now, look at death. And look at Sean. Sean is like, instantly I feel like I want to wash my hands. Me too. Even though I never do. So do I. I never do. You touch that all day long. But right now, I touch it all day. But right now, I feel filthy. Yeah. Yeah. So that's volume control. That's the, what? Levels.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. It's the buttons where I touch the microphone. It's a little slider. It looks like a little slider. It's a little plastic piece. It looks like Lego material. Next, I'm going to have to do where my fingers touch all the time. It's the actual material that the board is made out of that's right below those sliders. It's the actual plastic material that your fingers are constantly touching. That's a good one. Filthy. What's crazy is, like, we have a cleaning crew that comes in every night. Look at that. This guy looks filthy. There's a giant dust ball right there by the phone. I think they just take out the trash. I think that's about it. They don't touch the board. No. Which is the only part that really gets dirty. Yeah. At the end, do you think we can swab Ashley's pits? No.
I don't think that would help, Eddie. I just want to see what's going on in there. This is so cool, man. Seth is labeling these little Petri dishes. Next thing is where my fingers are actually right now and where they are all the time. The mouse. No, it's the wood on the bottom of the board. That's where I rest my hands constantly. It's the trim around the control board. Oh, my God. Mine in here is filthy. Where my arm is resting right now? Yes. It feels gummy. I'm not kidding. It's like a movie theater. It's like a movie theater floor. I don't know, but it's been here since Mark the Shark was here. Next, I'm doing the mouse. Rose. It does kind of. It's going to disgust us. I know it. We got this little science project going over here. Oh, yeah. Zeth is killing it. All right. Let's get the request line buttons.
He's like a CSI. He's a freaking king of all dorks. In a great way. It's a freaking dress and leggings. And respect, I mean that. Of course you do. Absolutely. In love and respect. Thank you. Great story. Compelling and rich. This is filthy, you guys. I'm cleaning the top of little see-through plastic cubes that represent the phone lines, and it's... Filthy. Turns out it's all Rob's DNA. Last one, the mouse. Yeah. Oh, the mouse. For sure. The mouse. That's touched by every single person. Everybody. Every day. I don't want to know that. You don't want to know? What am I clicking? Sean. Is this the last one, Seth, or do we have one left? We have one more after this one. The mic. Well, yeah, we could do the other mic because that's the one. I have my own mic. Or maybe do, like, Skye's mic. I would. Oh. Oh, should we do like one of the other mics? Well, I was thinking the studio phone, the one that you actually put up to your face, the phone in the studio that you actually put up to your face. Now, what part should we swab? Dude, Rob's phone. No, like the part that you talk into or the part that you hold with your hand? No, because it would be grosser to know where your mouth is. Yeah, that's my thought. Can you hand me the receiver? Immediately. No, Mike. Immediately, it shits.
it started to shine, which means I wiped something off. Boy Blunder's lunch. It's like, yeah, it came up positive for Togo's. Yeah. A jar of Skippy just came out. So we'll know in what, two days? Two days. See, the only thing that I'm wondering about it is like, I wish that we could tell what it is. All we're going to know is that, okay, This was more bacteria-filled than that was, but that's still pretty telling. Does that give you any kind of like, can we figure out what anything is? Once they kind of show up, I can look at them. Yeah, do they have a chart that says like what color means what or anything like that? It didn't come with it, but you can kind of tell by the shape of them. Yeah, what do they mean for this to tell you? When you get this thing, what is it supposed to tell you?
what bacteria is there and what is actually living on what you're touching. And there's like a unit of measurement for it. So depending on the size of it, we'll be able to tell exactly how heavy it is. Oh, yuckers. Two days. It's going to be more anxiety for all of us than Sean waiting to get his results back, which all, by the way, came back negative. Even the AIDS test. Turns out he's pregnant. Yes, that is correct. And she said to me this morning, there's no direct flights. But Eddie's going direct. But he may have booked it before things changed. It changes everything. I refuse. It ruins a trip. It's awful. I don't want to get on a plane to get off a plane to get on a plane again and get off and hang out in the airport for seven hours. No way. I don't even like ones where it's like, okay, well, we're going to stop here and you just sit tight in your seat. No, I don't want to. Ten minutes. Don't worry, guys. We'll just be in Oakland for an hour. Right, right. You just sit tight in your little tomb of a seat. Yes.
Your little sarcophagus. Yes. Your coffin seat. No. While we try to air out all the bad breath, and then we'll get some more people on. Then we'll get some more people. In this taxi cab with wings. Oh, man. Can you imagine swabbing one of those? Oh, come on. I like my favorite thing in the world is to just get on a plane and go wherever you're going. And it used to be that Aloha did that a couple times a day to Maui. Yeah, I heard Aloha shut down. Yeah, they're not even doing it anymore. And I think when we went last year, we flew Hawaiian. But we just checked their website and they're not flying direct anymore. Now you have to go through Honolulu. Don't want to. I don't want to go through Honolulu. Please don't make me go through Honolulu. That's crazy. Let me take off from Lindbergh Field and land in that. I'll let you know how it is. Stop doing that.
Face rubber. Like two weeks. I'm so jealous. I'll be like, peace out. Landing there is the best. Because when you land there, you just look down and all you see is these beautiful green pineapple fields. And you're like landing in it. Gorgeous. Stop it. What? Yeah, you're really rubbing it in, though. I'm not happy for you. You're rubbing it in our faces. I'm happy for you. Thanks, Rob. It's the first time I've ever been. Mike's been like 12 times. I lived there when I was little. You're going to have a blast. I can't wait. It's so relaxing. I'm really excited. Mike's right about the landing. I'm very happy for you as well. Jeez. It is gorgeous. Karma. You're going to have a great time. I'm so happy for you. Thanks, Sean. Well, if anybody in the last couple of weeks has done it, tell us what airline. I just want to know. Call a travel agent. That's a good idea. No, they either change over at LAX or in Honolulu. Nothing direct. Ooh, ooh, drive to LAX. Problem solved. Yeah, we actually thought about that last time because initially we wanted to go to Kauai. Gargle with Drano. Yeah.
And the amount of gas to drive to LAX and the amount of time and then how much it would cost to park your car at LAX for how long. Or you know what you can do is you can take the shuttle. The train. The train. To LAX. Why don't you just fly? That's the whole point. I mean, what's the point? Don't want to go to Honolulu. I don't want to get on off. And then your bags go different places. It honestly makes me consider going to Honolulu. Yeah. Oh, I feel you. The only reason we went to Maui last time is because no one flew direct to Kauai. Now no one flies to mouth. Great. Life's ruined. Again, I'll send you guys a postcard. Stop it. It would be a nice postcard. That would be really cool, Eddie. I would think so. I'll send it back. Me too. How dare you enjoy yourself. Wow. So Spike TV did these guys choice awards. And who do you think won when they did the award for Hottest Eva? There's only two nominees for every category. Hottest Eva? Eva Longoria or Eva Mendez? Mendez. Mendez easily? Yeah. Eva Longoria is overrated. She's like a thousand years old. Eva Mendez won. Cut 15. Guys, I didn't know you were going to play this.
Footage from my sex scene on Wheel of the Night. That was like, I'm a little embarrassed right now, actually. But thank everybody. But there's been a discrepancy because this is for the hottest Eva. And I'm Ava. So I think the hottest Eva is Eva Longoria Parker. So I will take this and share this with my girl. Sorry, we messed up. And also I just want to say a night like tonight is... It could be really, really fun and frivolous, you know, considering what state the world is in right now. So if we can make you guys at home smile. Is she kidding? That's ridiculous. Sadly, no. Sadly, she is not kidding. Which one between the killer quote of the year? Don't tase me, bro, or I have a wide stance. Don't tase me. Don't Tase Me Bro 1. Thank you. I hope they brought that guy out. Can you imagine how popular that guy must be? Huge. The Don't Tase Me Bro guy? Huge. He meets people, and his friends are like, you know who he is? He's Don't Tase Me Bro. He should start his own line of everything, like pens. They'll give you a little shock. That's right. Don't Tase Me Post-its. Don't Tase Me Tampons. Don't Tase Me Toilet Paper. Everything.
Be like Kiss. Between Richard Zednick and Kevin Everett for Real Sports Miracle. I only knew one. I don't know who that is. Don't know who Richard Zednick is. Somebody call us. 570-1053. Tell us who Richard Zednick is. Kevin Everett won because no one knew. Kevin Everett won. Who won guy of the year? Harrison Ford or Matt Damon? Matt Damon. That's not fair. No, that's not even a contest. Grandpa of the Year? Yeah. We've got to put him in an age category. Matt Damon. Half the people voting didn't know who Harrison Ford was. I vote Harrison Ford. You do not. Oh, I do. Did you see him in Indiana Jones? Unfortunately. Damon. Cut 23. Thank you. That's amazing. I'm a Boston fan. I'm happy to be the only one in the room rooting for my team.
I'm not going to switch teams just because I'm outnumbered. Not what we heard. And I have two mantlers tonight. And I can use them like Electra. Thank God the vote didn't happen between the time I got the last one and this one. I have a feeling Downey and Ford would have crushed me. But the vote did occur. Downey and Ford. Downey and Ford. And there will be no recount. We're brave. Thank you very much. And in closing... Okay, thank you, Matt. I heard a shout-out for Paul Pierce over there. God bless you. It's coming. Erase this whole little junior baby skyhook thing. It's all going away. Here we come, L.A. Here we come. If you're from Seattle, it's not all about the baseball team. If you're from Houston, it's not all about your town's sports. But if you are from Boston...
It is your being. Your whole life. That sounds so sad. Everything goes back to your sports. That's what we do. We watch sports and we drink. I'm telling you, man. And it's unlike any other city in the world. And we're proud of our teams. We're proud of our city. They are. I love it. I'll give you that. It's unity. They are proud of them. But it's such a dump. Oh, no. Giants fan is on the line. Talking about Gilroy, huh? What about that? You had no argument for me on that one. Having Gilroy tattooed on my throat? Because, you know, I'm proud of him. You're right. Yeah, I have a big Mustangs tattoo on my back. Do you? Giants fan, you there? I'm still here, Mikey. Who's Richard Zednick? Richard Zednick is the hockey player who got his throat slashed by the skates. Oh, that was awful. Yeah, Kevin Everett won. What was he? He was the guy that played for the Buffalo Bills that got the neck injury but walked again. But, you know, people know who that is. I thank you for the call and thank you for clearing that up for us. Who was the most unstoppable jock? And this one didn't seem fair to me either. Eli Manning or Tiger Woods? Oh, come on. Easily Tiger, right? Duh. Easily. Eli's not unstoppable. He's poop.
He was pretty stoppable when they played in San Diego. Yeah. He was stoppable that night. Yeah, Tiger. He was intercepted five times when he played that night here in San Diego. He's a mouth breather. But he still won. No. He beat Tiger Woods and was named the most unstoppable jock. That's offensive. Over Tiger Woods. That's crazy. Dumb awards. That's offensive. One last one for you. Okay. Most dangerous man. Is it Anderson Silva? Duh. Or Vladimir Kitschko. No. Silva. Oh, come on. That's stupid. That question upset, Eddie. That's so stupid. Why, Eddie? Break it down. You don't need to get upset. Well, one's a boxer, so who cares? Thank you. And one is the greatest fighter ever. What about everybody else? What do you guys think? I agree. Yep. I don't watch the sport.
Anderson Silva won that contest. Thank you. Yeah, duh. So in UFC, you guys, in UFC, is Anderson Silva like he's pretty much like the best fighter in the sport? So good. Is it heavyweight division? No, he is a middleweight. So that's the division that Chuck Liddell's in, right? No? Chuck's a light heavyweight. Light heavyweight. He was the guy who fought Rich Franklin, and it was like I was scared for Rich Franklin's life. Like, I've never seen such horror in his eyes when Anderson had him in the clinch and was just banging his, and broke his nose. Anderson Silva Black, dude? It was insane. Now I know who it is. Insane. He's real good, right? Craziest fight I've ever seen. He's the best guy in the UFC. He's sick standing, and he's sick on the ground. Like, the guy can do everything. Everything. He gets sick everywhere. That's like his signature thing. Is the text numbers. 35253. Come on, New York fans. Where are you? 5701053 is our phone number. NBC announced Tim Russert to meet the press replacement. You want to know who it is? We'll tell you next. But wait, there's more. That's one of those advertising lines you hear all the time, especially if you love late night movies on cable.
And you know, it must work because everyone wants more, even your car. That's why the folks at Chevron give you so much cleaning power in Chevron with Tecron. Well, I had been to three other Toyota dealers that week. It was a mission to get a great deal on a new Corolla. I did have...
Offers from those other dealers. But then, Jane went to Mossy Toyota in Pacific Beach. And Mossy Toyota made it happen. What a deal. by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Looking pretty good overall on most of our freeways here. The South 15, fine at Escondido, just a brief delay in Rancho Bernardo. Watch for a slowdown, though, as well, coming out of Powell again towards Mira Mesa. There's an accident where a car spun out here blocking the right-hand lanes right around Mira Mesa Boulevard, so that's where you're seeing the slowdown there. We've got the westbound 56, still a bit tight here as you come to Carmel Valley, approaching Carmel Country Road to the 5 freeway. Southbound through the 5, been just outstanding all morning long. That is still a full-speed ride down the stretch. You will find some slow traffic going south 5 as you come in down towards Mission Bay. Caltrans crews working again in the, looks like, the far left lanes here as you come in past the 52 in the Mission Bay. So slow for the cone zone. Rest for free, we start at the speed looking pretty good. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rockwood 053. Is this P1 Jason? Yes. Jason, did you take your motorcycle? Did you call AIS about your motorcycle? Yes, I did. What happened? I'm buying a motorcycle. I should be getting it today. And I called my insurance company yesterday to insure it, and they wouldn't insure it because I haven't had a motorcycle endorsement for three years. They referred me to Progressive, and Progressive wanted $1,400. I called Geico. Geico wanted $1,013. And then I remember, you know, AIS from the Mikey Show. So I called AIS, and they were giving me insurance for $829 a year. That's awesome, bro.
on a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja and never having a motorcycle endorsement on my license. Be careful on that thing, will you? Oh, I will. All right, brother. Thank you for the call. You're welcome. Now, that story is not unlike my story. Only mine was with a car. I save $1,600 a year by switching to AIS. You can too. They also offer Mexican insurance. So if you're going to be visiting Mexico, get the insurance. And get it at a good rate. The reason that it's as inexpensive as it is for that cat is because they're a broker. They're going to shop over 30 different companies for you. That's what's amazing about AIS. Call them. 1-800-777-4247. 4AIS is an easy way to remember it. The Cricket Wireless Studios. 105.3. The Mikey Show. With another visit from Neil Diamond. I hate all you young kids watching your Annette Funicello on the television. Why don't you cut that long hair on your way to puff your magic dragon? Why don't you try...
Weaving that armpit hair. Whoa. Indy eludes. Heel diving. Snorting sex addicts. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. It's 925. George Carlin died yesterday in Los Angeles from heart failure. He was 71 years old. How about that Kyle Busch? Holy moly, he won in Sonoma yesterday to take his fifth victory of the season. Two more turns for Kyle Busch. are real excited in the booth. It's a TNT cover. Do you want to hear Tony Stewart getting annoyed? Yeah, yeah. It's cut 60. What happened in the spin with Harvick? I don't know. I haven't seen it, so it's not fair to comment on it until I see what happened for sure. Yeah, but that's the second time this year. Does that concern you at all? It didn't look like it was intended. Marty, I said, just in case you didn't catch it the first time, I said, I didn't see it. So, you know, you can say it's the second time, but you're not in the cars and you don't know what you're talking about.
At the end, you guys made a terrific comeback in the last few laps. How were you able to get nine spots in a couple of laps? Just go anywhere that they weren't. So, you know, that's the easiest way to pass cars, just go somewhere on the racetrack where they're not. Wow. Go faster than them, Marty. Yeah. That's how you win, okay? Basically. Accelerate. Yeah. It takes a couple things. Acceleration on the gas pedal and being better than they are. Yeah, you see that little thing on the left there, buddy? That's the accelerator. Okay, I press down and it goes fast. You understand me now? That's right. That's right. That Tony Stewart's good at Sonoma. Yeah. But it was hot. Yeah. So George Carlin is dead at 71. And, you know, he was very politically incorrect. So he would... Oftentimes, if you were not a fan, he would probably offend you. But I was a fan of George Carlin's, and I got that that was his deal. He may have believed what he was saying, but I got that that was his deal. A lot of his stuff was on religion. I didn't agree with it, but I got that he was a talented, talented comedian, man. Cut three. Religion easily has the greatest bull**** story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people.
There's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever till the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money. He's all power, all perfect, all knowing and all wise. Somehow just can't handle money. Now, the deal with Carlin, especially when it came to religion, he didn't necessarily, he didn't have a background in it. So he didn't know, like in that clip right there, that's a minute, eight seconds long. He didn't necessarily know what he was talking about.
But the way he delivered it, funny. Guy is funny. Let's see. Inside the actor's studio. Cut to. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God, if God exists, say when you arrive at the pearly gates? We're going to have some fun around here. George Carlin, man, there is probably a lot of comedians that are, you know, a lot of people. I'm bummed. He's a funny guy. There will no doubt be like some specials and things like that, like a Comedy Central. I mean, he was so huge. He influenced just about everyone out there. Every major comedian will probably tell you that they were influenced by Carlin. Let's see. Let's do a little of this. My trivias. Let's do it. Voters, do you know where those are?
Eddie is rolling his eyes. Who's printing it? The Rizzle? Did he forget? We're going to flog him like Molly. This is the way P1 Trivia is an opportunity for a P1 to come into the studio on Friday, get a backstage pass, catered food, and be our in-studio guests so you hang out in the studio. You're going to be hanging out right here in the studio. That's right. Hang out through the entire show so you get to see the show that happens outside the show, which is where there's a lot of show going on. Sky constantly trying to sit on Eddie's lap. Crap about Chantel. Let's see. P1 Harold. Hey, Mikey. How you doing? How you doing? I'm hanging in there, man. This is my friend Harold, actually. Harold Fultemar.
It is not Harold Faltemeyer, but he is Harold Faltemeyer's brother-in-law's cousin's roommate from Modesto City College. Harold is a friend of mine, and how are you feeling? Hey, I'm getting better, slowly but surely. He's got the somethings. Who knows what it is? The crud? It's the crud. Yeah, you could call it that. Well, he holds a lot of other guys' hands. That is true. That is true. He does. It's the truth. Ask him. Harold, true or false, you hold a lot of other guys' hands. True. That is true. Thank you. Why? Why? Do you have an explanation or just leave it with I hold other guys' hands? He is a professional arm wrestler. Oh, shot. My name's John Brzezink. Okay, here we go. All right, let's do this. P1 Chris, are you there? What's up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Not much.
All right. How old are you, Chris? One. How long have you been listening? A good two and a half years now. All right. And let's see. Sean is just... He hates the listeners. That's the deal. He just hates them. He always has, Chris. Chris... This is true. I got a fist bump out of him at the sticker strike. You did? Yeah. What do you mean you hate me, Sean? Yeah, Sean. Dude, I despise you. I can't help it. No. I should have brought the Purell. Is that the mistake I made? The mistake you made was talking to me. Okay, thank you. That's great. The Purell would have helped at all. I guess I'll be quiet now. These are our supporters. Good idea. Harold, how old are you? I'm 35. How long have you been listening? I've been a couple years now. All right. It's a pretty even matchup. All right. We will start with Chris. Chris, you get to pick a one, two, or three-point question. The object is to get the five. I think I'm going to start with a two. You got it. Which member of the show does Dr. Wayne have a weird obsession with? With these Zethian Oates. That is true. That is the truth. It is, in fact, Zethian Oates. It's really weird. Zeth likes it, though. Yeah. He pretends he doesn't like it. That's the weird part. I saw him getting into a Trans Am the other day.
I don't know what that was about. Seth, well, you're getting into it, Trans Amp. You've got to be honest. Seth said he was going for candy and be right back. Is that right? Something about a lollipop. Ice cream. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here. Oh, Seth, how are you? Did I make a wrong call here, or what's going on? Dr. Wade, you have Seth's cell? Oh, yeah, I got a cell as well. Ew! He doesn't. He doesn't. Well, he didn't give it to me, but I got it. Okay. Rob. That is okay. Just one of the cool things about having a friend over at Cricket anyway. They don't do that there. They don't.
Oh, that's true. I better state that for the record since they are a sponsor. Thank you, Dr. Wayne. Thanks, Dr. Wayne. And just in case you want to talk to me later about that, Terry, it was just a joke. Okay. Dr. Wayne speaking directly to our sales department. Yes. I don't even know how you know these names. Dr. Wayne, you've never... This is weird. I also just wanted to let you know out of the blue that, you know, they don't charge anything to get into a contract with them. You know, there is no contract. I don't know why. Dr. Wayne, you're not. We don't need your help, buddy. It's necessary. Anyway, I love that company. Zeth, how you doing, buddy? Okay, we're in the middle of something. We're playing a game. We're in the middle of trivia here. Oh, did I mention, by the way, that I am a local chiropractor? Yes, you did. I'm going to see you. Steve Kisham. Swedish, we got it. Speaking of Swedish, how was Sana looking this weekend? Okay. She looked beautiful. She's taken, though, by my brother. It's a good thing, because I'll tell you what, I would probably want to be dating her. No, I don't. But you're married. Oh, look at Jess Jealous. I'm not, but I'm not. I'll be blowing up your celly later. Okay. That's weird. Okay.
Boy, there's Dr. Wayne coming by and messing everything up. It's pretty messed up. That's right. All right, well, back to the game. It is two to nothing, Chris. So, Harold, what are you going to do? Harold, are you there? Oh, sorry. Harold, go ahead. Yeah, can you hear me? Yep, I can hear you now. Okay, I'm going to go with Sky Strategy here. I'm going to go with a two. Oh, Harold, you know better than this. Hey, please. Harold, your two-point question is, what is the name of the game where you get clues to song lyrics? Lyrical Gangster. You got it. That is true. We got a tied game. We got a tied game. Chris, you can wrap it up with a three-pointer or play it safe with a two or a one. I'm going to play it safe with a two because I don't want to choke on a three. There you go. Your two-point question is, What is the latest addition to Sean's milk and salt recipe? Oh, that's good. That is good. Can I ask you that again, please, Mikey? I will ask you again. It's a toffee. What is the latest addition? Meaning Sean has just told us that this is something that he likes to do with it as well. New ingredients. New ingredient to Sean's milk and salt recipe. For those of you listeners that don't know, Sean likes to take a little pinch of kosher salt.
And add it to his tall glass of milk. It tastes better. Dude. He says that, you know, it sort of gives a sort of an accent. An ocean-y. No, I never said that. Briny's milk is filthy. I never said that. It just brings out the natural flavor of the milk. Oh, no, it doesn't. No, it doesn't. Actually, it does. It tastes like you're sucking on an udder. Gross. Eddie, that was disgusting. That's disgusting. Oh, that's so gross. That is so gross. Oh, gross. A little salt? No, dude, it's not like that. Only it's the udder of a goat. That's not an udder. Eddie? Holy Toledo. You know it's bad when Eddie hops away from the microphone? Like it just electrocuted him. Okay, so your question, Chris. Yeah. What's the latest addition to Sean's milk and salt recipe? No, it's not ham. It is not ham. Oh, really? Are you sure it is not ham? I know it's not essence of ham. No, it's not. Unnecessary shot of sky. Ham. I don't know. It's mint. Oh. I want to be Asian. I mean, it's so strange because mint is such a fresh.
And herbally flavor. Like, why would you want milk to be herbally? There's a reason why there's not mint milk on the market. You know how they sell chocolate milk? Strawberry milk. There's a reason there's no mint milk, Sean. He likes all those Asian products. He does. It's actually a takeoff on an Iranian drink. Okay. Well, now it makes sense. I'm not kidding. Let's have Skye try it. I don't drink milk. Skye, will you try a little milk and salt and mint? I don't drink milk. Why? Because I'm vegan, Mike. Because I'm vegan. Shut up. We're in the middle of the game. For those of you that got the reference side of rice, you are dying right now. Oh, that's funny, dude. Hey, Sean. Let's all focus. Trombone. I'll say. You better excuse yourself. Trash. That's why she got a side of rice, okay? Yeah. Okay. Thank you for clearing that up. Thank you very much. You're welcome. Yes. You just eat your Mexican food in there. Dude, I'm so sick right now. Is she eating Mexican food? You don't even know. I'm going to yak.
I thought she was allergic to Mexican food. Yeah, but she ordered carne asada in there and rice and beans, Mike. I don't know. Yeah, which is all the things I'm allergic to. She says she's allergic to. Why would she? I don't understand. Yeah, I feel really ill right now. I'm going to yack. It's because she's not allergic to. Yes, I am. You don't see all the hives everywhere? No. They're ridiculous. There are none. They're ridiculous. Dude, do something about this. I'm not even kidding. Eddie, don't. I'm kidding. For real. I'm out on that whole thing. No, don't you dare. Sarah, no. No, no. Yes, no. Yes. How dare you. Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. Jugular. What do you want, a two or a three? Are you going to try to pose it with a three? Show off. Dude, this is my favorite three-point question ever. If you get this, and you can do it in any variation, but.
What is the full name that I introduce Zeth with every morning? That's tough. I got that one. Zethian Roosevelt Esquire III. You missed one. You missed one, dude. He's his father's son. It's Roosevelt Zethian Oates III Esquire. There's got to be something we can add to that. It has to be MD. He is Roosevelt Zethian Oates III Esquire Jr. MD. So hard to sign checks. It's impossible. It takes him an hour.
It takes at least an hour. He has to put aside eight days to pay bills. Oh, that's awesome. All right, Chris. Back to you, dude. You're going to play it safe? You're going to go for the kill? You got it. What was Eddie's on-air name when he worked? Rob. For star 100.7 in the 90s. You son of a bitch. What was it? Eddie's? Oh, wow. This is embarrassing. This is good. What do you mean, Mike? What? I used to know. I remember it. Now I'm just going to play. Well, sure. You used to listen to that 80s lunch every day. You questioned it. It's called 80s at noon. 80s at night? I'm sorry. There was no lunch at all. I'm sorry. Mike totally took you. All right. That is good. Do you know this one, Chris? Eddie's on-air name when he worked for Star 100.7 in the night. Best name ever. Best name ever. Hi, Star. Oh, come on, man. I know. I'm digging up in there, reaching up in there for it. I'm coming up with a big blank. I used to know this, and now I've just gone back. Sorry, bro. Sorry. It was Puff Eddie. Oh, man. Seth just looked at Eddie like, I mean, but you're like one of my heroes. But you're like a mentor to me.
Puff Eddie. Don't say it. Wow. Spray it. Harold, what are you going to do? First, I'm going to apologize to Eddie. Thanks, Harold. I need it. Yeah. Give me a two. You want a two? You're going to go easy. Yeah, I'll try. Hopefully it's easy. What is... Sky, I'm going to let you decide which question. Okay. It's either the next one up for the number two or the one after that. So you decide. It's either the first one or the second one for the two-pointers. That's good. What's the problem? I just don't want anybody to go. That's too easy. I don't want anybody screaming. That's too easy. Is this Harold? Harold. Okay. Do the second one. Are we playing favorites? No, we're opposite. We're trying to not play favorites. Love you guys. We're trying to not play favorites. So do the second one. Yes. What is Ashley's dog's name?
That's not an easy question. That is correct. That was, yes, that was the harder of the two. Definitely the harder of the two. And that means that Harold just needs one more point to win. Or, Chris, you can close it out with a three. I better try for a three again. All right. Your three-point question is, what kind of dance troupe did Sean say he used to be in? Yes. Great question. That is an awesome question. I couldn't hear that again. What kind of dance troupe did Sean say that he used to be in? Give me one second on this one. I'll pull it out of my head. You can say queer. It was not. It was not, though. It wasn't. It was not that.
What do they like to be called now? No, you're thinking of it. Homosexual is the term. Homosexual is the term. Eddie, no, it was a dance troupe, though. It was a dance troupe. Yeah, whatever. Okay, Mike. Yes. The name of the group. Oh, my God. That may have been my favorite moment today. That very, very sad. I was a kid. Geez. Wow. I didn't mean it. Okay. So, Chris. Oh, man. He was into pop locking. How dare you. Oh. Well, it's the obvious answer. Yeah. Shut up. This is kind of one of those dumb moments. Yeah. It's like, oh, well, yeah, I could have just worked that out. Yeah. You picture Sean. You picture. A Ukrainian dance troupe. Thank you. Right now.
Sean has that look on his face right now that says, why did I ever, ever tell them why? No, stop it. I'm sure you were adorable. What did the outfit look like, Sean? It had a white shirt with detail work around the... Hey, you can't blame us for detail work. I mean, come on. I think it sounds pretty. You know it sounds precious is what it sounds like. He was a kid, you guys. You guys. He was a kid, you guys. Harold, what are you going to do here? Go with a one-point question. Over the top, Harold. Who claims to have co-starred on the TV show Renegade? I'm going to be arm wrestling on Friday. Eddie.
Chris, of course you get to come in, too. You are incredible, man. Of course you're coming in, too. Of course you are. All right, you two rascals. Hang on the line and do not hold each other's hands while I have you. That's right. Hang on a second. I'll bring in some cookies. She'll bake you some cookies. My pleasure. Listening to this music. Hey, Mikey, what does Eddie's break signal look like? It's very easy. It looks like he is taking a stick. He's making two fists and pressing the fists together and then, like, breaking a stick in half. And he does it over and over again. And, like, when he really wants me to break.
then he really, you know, moves the wrists. He's snapping a lot of twigs. That's right. He's snapping like a whole bunch of twigs. So that's what the break, whenever I say Eddie's giving me the break signal, that's what it looks like. He's breaking fools off. This one says, hey guys, turning 19 today, I wanted to tell you guys thank you for being amazing, no matter how much Sean hates that adjective. Waking up to you guys is quite a gift. Ever since Sean said that, I... have an issue with saying amazing, but I still say it. It's not at all. And like, especially when I'm communicating with Sean, like sometimes I want to tell him something he's done is amazing, but I can't because I know he won't appreciate it. But amazing is a great adjective. It's amazing. It's not a great, it's so, it's so vague. It doesn't say anything. What it says is, is that what you've done is so incredible that
It's to be amazed. I'm amazed that I'm amazed by you. I'm amazed by you. Maybe I'm amazed by you. Eddie's doing slow dance. All right. That's a weird slow dance. Okay. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Off the air, we were discussing Hostess fruit pies. Yeah. Which are, they're incredible. They're a fruit calzone, Mike. Yeah. That's a good way to put it. Fruit calzone. You got the apple. You got the berry. You got the lemon. You got the chocolate. And we've discovered other flavors. I don't know about these other flavors. Cherry. Available in Japan. Cherry. Apparently, there's peach, which I've never seen. I haven't seen peach. And Zed found peach. And there was a pineapple, which sounds delicious. Oh, yeah. That sounds good. I've never seen it. No way. Never seen it. Only in the Dominican Republic. But this broad over here. The sky. She's whack. Sky broad. She's a lady.
I asked her if she liked it, and she goes, well, and I knew immediately there's something weird. It's so annoying that there's a caveat. And I thought it was going to be a, well, I like the fruit ones but not the pudding ones or something like that. No, she eats just the crust and not the filling. Is that true, Sky? I didn't hear that part. Yeah. I thought that the point of, I thought your point was, oh, I only like the certain ones, and I don't really care for the filling. I eat it, but I don't really like it. No. You're telling me you dissect the pie. Yeah, well. What do you do, crack it in half and empty it out? Well, no, see, I wouldn't even buy them, but sometimes the husband buys them, and if it's all we have in the house for dessert and, you know, I have a craving for sweets, what we'll do is he'll, like, break the top off. And give it to me. You know what I mean? Yeah, because the top doesn't have any filling. There's usually a little air pocket in there. Yeah, and so I'll eat that, and I enjoy that. But I will never eat, like, a whole one. I'll never, like, open one. I have a simple question. What is your problem? What are you not like? What is the issue? Talk to me about the issue. Let's use that as a clip from now on. What is the issue?
Look at her. She's embarrassed. She should be. She's embarrassed. It's foolish and it's embarrassing. She's embarrassed. Well, I'm embarrassed, but can you rewind the TV? Because I'm also laughing about something that I thought. They just showed on TV. Because we don't have any audio. So if you just see. Okay, wait. Oh, my. And look at the headline underneath it. Naomi Campbell gets community service. That's not Naomi Campbell. That is a doll that's been. It almost looks racist, the doll. I mean, how are they getting away with that? What are they talking about? Sky. Why the doll? Way to go, Sky. Obviously, it's a race. It's very racial. Wait a second. Did they mean for that? No, the story is that Naomi Campbell was sentenced for her deal. Look at Ashley's leaving. She's like, I'm not touching that one. Yeah, they want to see the thing on the TV. Oh, you want me to rewind? Naomi Campbell was sentenced for her, you know, incident with British Airways when she was on the plane and was like assaulting people or whatever. Right. And she claims that one of the employees called her a racist term, which I guess refers to that doll.
I'm black and I'm proud. Oh, oh, I got you. Whatever that doll is called. Whatever that doll is is what they called, what she claims they called her. But just to see the picture of the doll with the headline and no audio. Right, right, right. Do you know anything about chocolate? Oh, my goodness. It was a little too much for me to handle. It was a little electric. There it is. And there you go. And. Hey, I got one of those. Yeah. Oh, is that what they call it? And that's like one of those voodoo dolls that if you like. Yeah, I got one in my pocket. Teen witch. What's it like to be black in America? That's a good question. But anyways, yeah, I'm out on the whole thing. So, why? What is your problem with it? Because my wife doesn't like Hostess pies either. And they're the greatest thing ever. Oh, man. When I was a kid, I loved them. They're awesome. Yeah, I don't like pies in general. I don't care for the... Neither did my wife. Fruity. Why don't you like pie? The... Something about it. Yeah, the texture. That's another one. Jelliness, mixed with chunks of fruit, with most times it's kind of cooked and soggy-ish. I see what she's saying. I used to be the same way. They should have made a pumpkin one of those. I like it now, but I used to do that. I wonder if that would be good. That would be rad. That would be horrendous. Eddie's allergic to them, but I love anything banana. And I was thinking to myself, if they had one that had banana in it, I'd dig it. Banana cream? I haven't seen one. Really? Banana cream I love.
They had lemon. I didn't like the lemon. You don't like the lemon? That was my favorite. That's another flavor that I'm big time in on. Oh, really? I love lemon. Cherry was good. All disgusting. Zed found a strawberry when I've never had strawberry. Zed, go and get all these. It's like on Hostess's website. Just hostesscakes.com. It's his homepage. My wife, yes. My wife thinks that pie is unnecessary. What does that even mean? Everything is unnecessary. She believes that there are some desserts that really add to the world. Like the brownie. Because she doesn't like it, doesn't make it unnecessary. She believes that the brownie contributes a positive thing to mankind. That doesn't make any sense. So does the chocolate chip cookie. She says that with pie, you can get the contents of pie in different... And you can't do that with chocolate? Yeah. What the hell does that mean? You know what I mean? She says, like, you've already got pudding. So just have your pudding. Why are you putting it in a crust? It's unnecessary. Because it tastes good. Hello? Yeah. I should say to her, you know what I should say? I got the perfect argument for her. Yeah, do it. Yeah, yeah, do it. Get her. Say, really, honey? Then let's discuss those quesadillas that you get all the time because we have cheese.
And we have tortilla. Totally unnecessary. Yep, yep, yep. Let's take a couple of calls. P1 Monique, are you there? I'm here, yeah. Is it hot in here? I think the AC's broken. It always is in here. It's hot in here. So hot. So take off all your clothes. Can you get Shona on the phone? Mm-hmm. She's our advocate. She doesn't care. Monique. Yes. Eddie, I heard what you said. You don't care, Shona. I do care. Then how come this thing has been broken for two years and you never... I didn't even know it was broken. I complained about it to you last year. I was on vacation. Well, that's true. P1 Monique. Yes. Go ahead. Go ahead. Is it you and the man, or is it just you? Okay. Go ahead. My Yorkshire Terrier honey girl has gone missing. I wanted to hope you guys could spread the word. If someone's picked her up, she's not abandoned. She's not astray. She has a loving home. Where do you live?
Up in Oceanside. Does it have a collar? She didn't have a collar on, unfortunately. She was in the yard with our Rottweiler. Tell me it's a neighborhood, though. Yeah, it's a neighborhood. We've talked to all of our neighbors. Okay, but wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Pause, Monique. This ain't by, like, any canyons or anything, right? There are some canyons, but the thing is, is she's cruising around with our Rottweiler, and people saw both of them throughout the afternoon cruising around the neighborhood together. And when we got home that evening, the Rottweiler was in the front yard and Honey Girl wasn't. So I know she was hanging in the neighborhood. I just have the feeling somebody saw her and grabbed her. Unfortunately, she is a Yorkshire Terrier, which they're a wanted dog, you know. And I'm just hoping that somebody with the kindness of their heart will. We put posters up. Oceanside Boulevard and Camelot Drive is our neighborhood. We put posters up everywhere. Her name's Honey Girl. She's about five, six pounds, long, longish hair. It's not all the way to the ground. Tan face, tan legs, black and gray body. Response to Honey Girl. She loves animals. She loves people. She rolls over on her back, and she's just very, she's a very innocent little dog and just loves love, and she would have gone to somebody if they had, you know, coaxed her over. I just wanted to see if you guys could spread the word and let people know, hey,
that she's got a home. Monique, what happens if somebody hears this and they do? Please, can I give you my phone number to call? Because I'm at a loss at the moment. I'm very distraught. The shelters and the Humane Society are closed on Sunday. We'll get your information and you can contact us. She should probably do. You know what else would be a good thing for her is P1 site. Say again? Could I post a picture of it? That's what I'm saying. Maybe you should contact P1site.com. P, the number one, S-I-T-E dot com. Okay. It's the most incredible fan site ever for the Mikey Show. Okay. And it's really, really good, and a lot of people are on there. And if you found the dog, if you're listening right now and you found the dog, then go to P1site and communicate that way. Because...
You know, I just want to try to keep... I want to help you. And at the same time, I need to, you know... What's the word I'm looking for? I need to... Be responsive. Yeah, be responsive. You know, the whole thing, so... Yes, he's letting me voice this. He's very dear to me and dear to my family. And it's just ripping me up inside. All right. A lot of bad people in the world, so I'm hoping somebody could take... Now, listen. Monique, the terrible thing is that if you're living by canyons, you've got to know what's up. I'm not saying that to be a jerk. Hello. It's the truth. She's thinking that somebody maybe stole the dog, and I'm going, hello. But not even stole. Maybe someone thought that she was a stray dog. Could be. And I'm sure you've already gone the route of the Humane Society, right? I tried to call, but they've been closed Sunday and Monday. Okay. Why are they closed today? They normally are closed on Mondays. You can call tomorrow morning, though, first thing. Yeah, I'm going to call first thing, and that's why I'm hoping the person will take her in. And the dog's name is Honey Baked? Honey Girl. Hi, girl. Jerk off. Eddie. Well, I know. I could tell you where it was if it was Honey Baked, and I just wanted to be clear. So could I.
Really? I'm sorry. This isn't a joking matter. I don't think so either. Up until I found out the dog's name isn't Honey Baked, I cared. No. Shut up. Her mouth is watering. Well, yes, I'm sorry. Like Pavlov over here. Can you please not? Speaking of dogs. Speaking of. Hello. All right. Well, good luck. I hope you find him. We'll think good thoughts for you. Guys, I really appreciate it. And you guys make me smile every morning when I'm driving to work. So thanks for all your... Thank you very much. And I appreciate it. Thank you, guys. Thank you. Yeah, well, I mean, she's thinking that somebody took the dog. Nobody would. That is the truth. Well, Ash, I mean... The truth is, if Sammy was missing. Hey, it's a good thing. You guys, it's a good thing. If Sammy ever disappeared, you could rule out somebody wanting her. For real? Yes. Okay, I appreciate that. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If she ever went missing, if anything ever happened, I'd freaking freak out. You don't even understand. For sure. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry. Cry.
There's Sammy. There's Sammy. All you got to do is check kitchens for her dog. Check what? Kitchens, man. Kitchens. Wherever there's cookies or a bakery. Oh, no kidding. Anywhere there's a pantry. The first places you should check. Curves. Jenny Craig. If she's not there, check Charlotte Roos. No, no, no. Not Charlotte Roos. What's the one? Lane Bryant. Lane Bryant. The Gas Isle and Vons. Cut open Christy Alley. Don't even. Don't bother. Isn't it a Christy Alley joke? Your boyfriend going, that's terrible, honey. Man, I'm glad you're good looking. That's right. Our program director, Shauna, is on the line. Who's that? It's our program director. Shauna is on the line. Hi, Shauna. Shauna.
It's so hot in here. It's hot in here, man. Of course it is. That's how we grow the bacteria in the studio. You think that's funny, huh? Well, the reason that's funny is because my office is divine. It's so comfortable up here. It's so cool. My office is the opposite of divine. My office is hot, too. It is? It's like she's doing an impression of Shauna. Like you want to say to her, knock it off. Stop it. It's hot in here. So hot. Yeah. So take off all your clothes. Is there anything we can do about it? Yo, come on. What did you say? Is there anything we can do about this? I don't know. So why? Don't help us. You guys, you know I hate it here as much as you people hate it. I mean, what do you want from me? I hate everything about Claire Channel 2. We are all in this. Mikey hates Claire Channel. I hate it. We all hate it. I love Claire Channel. Save that clip. Save that clip. Save that clip. I do. It's so hot. Come on, lady. Why don't you guys just go home? It's almost 10. You are so rude. You are so rude. All the P1s are going to revolt. I hate ratings.
I hate radio. I hate it at all. Have I mentioned how much I hate you guys? Yeah, get out of here. All right, Shauna, we'll talk to you later. I love you. Goodbye. We hate you. It's so gross in here. It's just like humid. It's like Florida. Like the one from Good Times. It's like one of her neck rolls in here. It's like living in Esther Rolls' belly button. Put that in a fruit pie. Okay, we got pineapple and Esther Rolls' belly button. P1 Jason. Hey, Mikey. Oh, that was great. Good job. Good job. Give him a prize. Well done. You get a prize. Okay. Hey, I have a question about gas prices on base. Okay. The gas prices are equal to and sometimes more than it is out in town. But, you know, one of the few perks that we get in the military is that we don't pay federal and state tax on base. So I'm just kind of curious on why we're paying the same amount as we would out in town. Man, that's a question for us. That is a far out question. Wow. Well, you know me. I'm kind of the authority on all things active military. And so, you know, the reason is the cost point percentage rate.
You know, touching and equalizing Homeland Security right now. Well said. Protect our borders. So that's all I can tell you, bro. There you go. All right. Enjoy it. I'm sure that you and Army would know. Thank you very much. Glad we can help. Glad we can help. It's hot, dude. It's really hot in here. Is it out in Ashley's studio, too? Cool in here, dude. I'm chilling. Oh, wow. That's somebody. Oh, the fan. There's another one. Hey. Did you guys send a help desk? No. Eddie, do not sit there stoned like you're not going to make a joke. Whenever you put my mouth there by myself when I'm doing that. Come on now. You get involved with this imitation here. All right, five, seven. Oh, there. I feel it. You feel the fan? No, Eddie turned the fan on. I was like, wow, the air came on. You are smart. As the dust blows everywhere. It's disgusting. Oh, that's so gross. Look at the room. Look at it. Oh. That's cool.
This is the filthiest place. You're a jerk, Sean. You're the worst, Sean. It sounds like, you know, we're flying with Leo DiCaprio and... The aviator? The aviator. Spruce Goose. Out of here, bro. We are. We're going. It's yucky in here. We're going because it's so dusty. I feel it's like in my throat now. And I don't want to turn it off because I don't want to leave Missy with a 900-degree studio. It's so hot. 570-1053 is the number. Mikey Show. Yeah, I didn't have access to the P1 site. I just want to let that lady know that I do have insight on who might have her dog. Is this a joke? Are you going to be a jerk? Yeah, he's being a jerk. I feel jackhole coming. Go ahead. Okay, Ashley, I am doing that.
That's not funny. Anyone who would joke about a missing dog is a monster. Terry Bradshaw, what do you think about that? I agree. Terry Bradshaw, do you think that was funny? Not funny. That was not funny. Terry Bradshaw says not funny. I'm not funny. Terry Bradshaw says that's not funny. I don't get why he's commenting. I love that, though. He doesn't think it's funny. He doesn't think it's funny. Hello? Not funny. It's funny. Mikey Show. open up a studio in Bologna or National City and start the Hector Show. What would you think about that? Did you understand that? You were wondering, say that again. I don't speak Cholo. I don't know. Do you speak Old English? All right. Mikey Show. Hello? When I was a kid, we went to a Mexican barbecue and they were cooking goat's head. Delicious. It's the truth. Did you eat some? Well, it's probably good.
Oh, Eddie, it was not probably. It was not probably good. It was not that. It was good. There was no probably about it. Let me ask you something. As an adult, would you ever go there? Absolutely. No, come on. Are you being serious? In a heartbeat. Oh, delicious. I don't know what's happened to you. I don't know what's happened to you. He's a different man. It's amazing. What? Crazy. It's amazing what's happened to you. It is amazing. That's a good word to describe it, Mike. Yeah, we live a little. How dare you? How dare you say that? Fruit pie. Yeah, fruit pie. Mikey Show. Hi. We should. Let me tell you. In my head, I have the design. for the ultimate studio. Do you? It's in my head. Does it look like a spaceship? It looks like Jeff and Jerry's studio. No. Sky, it would be so awesome. Yeah. It would be so awesome. It would involve a performance stage. Oh, yeah. It would involve a performance stage. Yeah. It would involve couches. It would involve the ultimate in, like, surrounding us with cool monitors.
It would involve, like, all, like, really cool props. It would involve, it would be so awesome if we could ever do it. It could all be done on a budget of $4.25. Do it. Do it. Sounds good. Couches and everything. Mikey Show. What's going on, dude? Yo, dude, I talked to you earlier about the Dana White thing, man. Oh, he's been trying to call in for open phones. You're on the air, dude. You're on the air, bro. It's open phones now. Thanks, man. Go ahead. You're on the air. Oh, this is tough. What is confusing about that? See, you just need to say what you want to say. Oh, man, and, dude, I try to give him, like, I'm going three different times of trying to get that done. Hello? Hey, brother. You're on the air, dude. Oh, sorry, my bad. Hey, what's up? I just wanted to talk about the Dana White being on there the other day. Okay. Dana White was on the air last week. Yeah, the July 19th thing, he made that because there's an affliction event, which is basically Fedor versus Tim Sylvia here in California.
And he kind of wants, you know, to snub any organization that's trying to come up, stuff like that. I mean, I love UFC. He got mad props for Anderson Silva, everything about that. But I just want to let people know why all of a sudden this card just popped out of nowhere. Okay, brother. All right. All right. Anderson Silva's jumping up 20 pounds in the weight class, man. Good luck. All righty, brother. Thank you very much. I'm a real Celtics fan. I put it down around all these Lakers fans. B-Rob don't even know the starting lineup. Okay. All right. Rob, is that why he didn't get there? I didn't even know that until now, but thanks for calling me out because I didn't go up to L.A. the past two years in a row and told all those L.A. fans to share. You're stupid. This is an example of a bad caller because I had to hit the button on him. All the way around, not a good caller. Well, you're a tougher fan than I am, tough guy. Rob doesn't like it.
It's okay. The brutal part of it is I can't take calls now because I had to hit the button, and now I got to, you know. Got to ramp up. Ramp it. I think I learned something valuable there. What? Hang up on them. Yeah. There you go, Mike. I got to do it immediately. See, I'm consumed with I got to be a nice guy. I got to be nice to them. Give them a shot. I got to give them a shot. You're also our caretaker, though. I'm a caretaker, right? Yeah, you got to take care of us. At the same time, I need to be. We need to. Wait, no. Wait. Speak for yourself. I thought you said he was our caretaker. Well, you definitely need to give a CPR. You're the chauffeur. You're the chauffeur. Okay. Community lifeguard. Absolutely. There's only one person, though, that can get it. How many times are you going to pull that one out? Well, duh, Skye. Hey, hey, sick girl. What? Can you just go back to me? I am so ill right now. I didn't even mention it. I'm talking crazy. So, Ashley. I'm delusional. Ashley, who claims to be, she makes the most crazy statements. She's making me zany. And she knows that I get crazy when she says things that are just like, you know, like she'll be like, so-and-so is my best friend. I'm like, you say everybody's your best friend. What about partial vegetarian, Mike? Yes, partial vegetarian. She eats carne asada in there. Carne asada in a taco.
So she tells us she's allergic to Mexican food. And we're like, are you nuts? We see her eating it all the time. She's like, I never eat it, you guys. What are you talking about? It makes me sick. It makes me sick, you guys. It makes me sick. It makes me sick. It makes me sick. So today, she's in there chowing down on Mexican food. Huffing it down. Huffing it down. And so we look in there, and we go, oh, wow, look at Miss Allergic Girl. And she's like, all of a sudden, oh, my gosh, I feel like I'm going to die. You guys, I'm so sick. So then we go into a commercial break, and I look in there, and she's giggling and laughing and jumping up and down. Yeah. And I hit the button to talk to her in there. I go, wow, somebody really looks sick in there. And she goes, oh, my gosh, Matt, I feel terrible. Whenever she starts telling you she giggles when she's nauseous. Yeah, it's a symptom. It's a side effect of my nausea. It makes me giggle uncontrollably. What do you want? What do you want? I want the truth. Mikey Show. Oh, hi. It's Clubbe. Hey. Oh, my gosh. I just want to call and make up for that last guy. That was really bad. Hi. I just want to call and talk about, you know, really fun stuff. Hurry up. Say something. Come on. Give me something. I went wine tasting this weekend. Get out of here. Sweet bird wine. Sweet bird wine. Sweet bird wine. Sweet bird wine. Peanut noir. It was peanut noir. And what did you, where did you go? We went to.
A bunch of different vineyards. We got a little, like, shuttle bus that took us all around, so nobody drove and was drinking. Oh, yeah, I've done that. Yep. I've done that. I felt like B-Rob. I felt so classy. It was my pinky in the air. That's right. How did this come about, Quimby? My best friend's getting married next weekend, and so we did it. Saw that movie, Julia Roberts. Yeah. So good. Remember? Remember? But they did a Jack and Jill bachelor, bachelorette party because they wanted to kick off their marriage with no strippers or anything like that. Love it. Sweet. Great idea. Very nice time. We stayed at Pechanga. And I was asleep by 8 o'clock that night. So... 15 months we bury one. Peanut and oar. Yeah. Anyways, P1 Podcast is up and posted, so everybody check it out, and have a great day. All right. Thanks, Clem. You're welcome. One more call, and we're done. Ashley? There's no reason for that. I'm sick. I'm ill. Mikey Shell, last call. Bring us home. Yes, I wanted to make a comment about the idiot that just called in about the gas prices on the military base. Please, please. Let him know, why is he calling a civilian?
It's an interesting question. I'm not going to deny it. Well, okay. We don't need to go there. We're getting a little ink. Can I sing my song? Yes. Yes, you can. I believe the children are future. Keep them well and let them lead the way. Oh, yeah. Get it, girl. No, no, no. Don't you stop there. Don't you stop there. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Come on. Pick it up. Give it.
I forgot that one. How do you like working with somebody that gets on your nerves 24 hours a day and you're in the same office with him seven days a week? I don't like that song. You like that song? I know what you're talking about, girl. I'm working with the guy that gets on my nerves. Every day I see him. Every day for eight hours. Try doing it in nine years. Thank you, Mike. Thank you, Mike. Okay, bye-bye. Wait, no! Don't shoot it every day. I know she's going to be mean and rude about the lady that just lost the dog. Hang on a second. Hang on. Rob, get her number. Get her number. And send that audio to Shawnee. All right. So good. Missy's up next. She's got double shots. See you back here tomorrow morning at 530. The Mikey Show's out.
