Mike, Eddie, Sky, Ashley and Boston Rob moved from personal stories—Mike's aloe-coated sunburn sticking him to his sheets and Jason's first day as a SWAT recruit on The Sarah Connor Chronicles—to listener debates and comedy. P1 Anonymous described taking her ex-boyfriend's dog, bong and inner tube after he dumped her, and the hosts argued that his spitting was unacceptable but that both people had behaved badly and should stay apart. The group also debated whether blogging a first date violates privacy, whether a 38-year-old should pursue a younger, hotter partner over a more compatible older one, and whether greeting friends or relatives with a kiss on the lips is affectionate or inappropriate. Other standout bits included Tony Gonzalez saving a Chargers fan with the Heimlich maneuver, Jerry Baker's beer-and-mouthwash garden tonic, P1 Easy Money defending stoners as romantics, a flute-boxing clip, Larry King and Yoko Ono singing to Ringo Starr, and Southwest removing a family over disruptive children.

What happened, in order

  1. Sunburned to the sheets

Mike described waking up with his aloe-coated sunburned back stuck to the bedsheets while the crew proposed increasingly impractical ways for him to sleep.

  2. A P1 on Sarah Connor

P1 Jason called from Calabasas before his first day playing a SWAT recruit on The Sarah Connor Chronicles and explained the lavish on-set catering.

  3. The dog, bong and inner tube

P1 Anonymous revealed that after her boyfriend dumped her she took his dog, bong and an inner tube to hurt him back, returned them, and was spat on, prompting the hosts to tell both of them to stay apart.

  4. A rival saves a Chargers fan

Chiefs star Tony Gonzalez performed the Heimlich maneuver on a choking man in a Huntington Beach restaurant and only afterward learned that he had saved a lifelong Chargers fan.

  5. Old Man Baker's garden tonic

Mike shared Jerry Baker's odd recipe of dish soap, mouthwash, beer, instant tea and soda, claiming it had made his garden vegetables enormous.

  6. The romantic stoner

P1 Easy Money challenged the idea that heavy marijuana users cannot be romantic by describing a surprise hotel room filled with rose petals, champagne and a waiting bath.

  7. Flute-boxing surprise

The crew played a performer who beatboxed while playing flute and admitted that the seemingly goofy combination sounded genuinely impressive.

  8. The MySpace date diary

A listener wanted to end things after his date blogged about their first outing, launching an argument over whether online storytelling is ordinary friend talk or a breach of privacy.

  9. Hot and young or compatible

Mike rejected Sky and his wife Rebecca's claim that most men would favor a much younger attractive partner over an older woman with more compatible life experience.

  10. The lip-kiss line

Ashley said she stopped exchanging greeting kisses on the lips with her hairdresser out of respect for Mark, and callers argued with the hosts over whether such kisses are cultural, affectionate or creepy.

  11. Birthday songs for Ringo

The show repeatedly replayed Larry King and Yoko Ono singing Happy Birthday to Ringo Starr and mocked the performances until the bit overwhelmed the planned new-releases segment.

  12. Kids kicked off the flight

The hosts sided with Southwest after it refused to let a family reboard because the children had been loud and repeatedly walked around during their first flight.
