We'll be right back. Oh, baby, please
Please, please don't leave me A little bit Yeah, you're very low Very low Crank him a little Crank him up, Zed Yeah, Zed, you gotta crank me up Yeah, what I heard was that I can't control any of that on my end. All I can do is talk. Am I real loud now? Yeah. Am I sounding good? Yeah, I sound good. Cool.
You guys sound phenomenal. I'm on a delay. Ashley's listening in delay. Why are you on delay? Don't do that. It's just normal for her. Where am I? It's 1987. If you went to the movie right now, Ashley Kramer vs. Kramer would be fine. That's not true, first of all. And I'll see you next time. I mean, out of the game? That's not... That's ridiculous, Mike. Come on. Well, well, well. Look at this.
It is 6.05. The San Diego Harbor Police fatally shot a guy over the weekend after he started fighting with the officers who had just rescued him from the water. This is pretty exciting. The Padres found a new way to lose. Aaron Miles hits a walk-off grand slam to lead the Cardinals to a 9-5 win over the Padres. Well, they're inventive, right? Well, hey, I mean, check mark for the walk-off grand slam. Got that one covered. All kinds of new ways to lose.
Well, let's see. I am broadcasting from home. Wow. Hopefully it's not too noisy. Is it too noisy in the room? No. I don't hear anything. Good. Yeah, the engineering department did a pretty good job of getting this set up and making sure that nothing was going to sound really terrible in the band. I got a lot of stuff going on in here. The USC marching band is all here. They've been performing and practicing all morning long. Wonderful. No, I've got the fan that is usually reserved for Sean. When Sean stays with us, it's called a Vornado.
And it creates, yeah, it's good. It creates almost like a sort of a 747 jet engine wind blowing, you know, to cool you down. And it's like that right now. I got it on the lowest setting, and it's, you know, 12 degrees in the room. And then I also have a gigantic saltwater fish tank in my office. And the pump is going on that. And engineering has done a good enough job that you really can't tell. You can't hear any of that stuff. Awesome.
So it's pretty cool. It's pretty cool. I'm doing this because I had me some surgery. And the surgery, it went good. Good. And thank you to Green Hospital where I was staying. It was cool. I was there for two nights. And I had a hernia repaired in my gut. And so now I'm better. Yeah, it's really nice. That's actual audio of the surgery. So it sounds like everything went well. How long did you stay in the hospital?
I was just there. I spent two nights there. And then on the second day, they let me go home at about noon. Nice. And what they wanted me to do is jog home. Oh, that's really strange. It was really strange. Take a unicycle home. That's right. Take a unicycle. Wow. Okay. I knew that being around my best friend Eddie again was going to be an issue with the laughter. Eddie is the first person to make me laugh. Uh-oh.
No laughing allowed. Wow. Wow. That was interesting. That was interesting. Don't pop a stitch. You guys, I had a turn off. I watched Arrested Development. Oh. Season three. I had to turn it off. Yeah, that's not good. It hurt. To watch it, it hurt. I had to turn it off. So let's do this. Let's go around. We've been off for a week. We're back on the radio. Today's my dad's birthday, July 21st. Oh, happy birthday.
I was going to say Danny. 72 years old, that guy. That's crazy. I know it. So, yeah, let's go around the room and introduce everybody. And, uh, I, we could do a whole show just on what did you guys do? I, you guys, I cannot wait to hear everything. I can't wait to hear it all and just hear everything that's going on. Uh, so let's go around the room. I'm, I'm the host of the show. My name's Mikey and I'm 38 years old and I have a shaved head and, uh, I have a, a
true goatee like an actual billy goat uh you know like the little i have the stuff on the chin but then i don't have the mustache part sky are we any closer to being used to this because sky i know it was a deal for her she does not like change i do not like change and i do have to say i was you know a little surprised again when i vlogged on because we're seeing you through a camera today, and I said, oh yeah, he doesn't have that mustache anymore. She's still not used to it. So it's still gonna
take a little while. Sorry, Mike. It's gonna take forever. We're just not there yet. Well, because then the weekend hits, and then I forget, and I come back. It's been a week and a half, almost. I know it. Made it real hard. I know it. He's chewing on a tin can. It's all odd. It's all odd. Not good for that hernia. That's right. It is not. Let's see. And Eddie is our producer and our sports guy and he's 35 years old and I've known him for over 20 years and we have worked
together in radio for a long time and Eddie let's do this, let's do it this way we'll do a quick introduction so we can dive into what we've been up to Skye is our news girl she is 30 years of age she's a pretty white girl with curly hair how do you like that? That is completely true. Sean is our sound effects guy. And Shawnee, oh boy, is 38 years old. Can't wait to find out what Sean was up to. I have questions.
Dying to know. Dying to know. Yes. Yeah. Let's see. Ashley, who, by the way, Ash, we're going to get you a camera today. We're going to get Rob a camera today. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, because so much of the show is description. And Ashley's making this face or Rob is doing this or blah, blah, blah. So I need to be able to see you guys and communicate. So Ashley is 25 years old. She had a birthday.
Yeah. And so she's 25. She's our assistant producer. And she is your typical Southern California gal. She's got blonde hair and a very nice physique. Oh, hello. Talk about it. And then there's Boston Rob. Hey, what's up? That's right. I'm just happy to hear that he is still alive. Thank you. Congratulations, Rob. Yes, Rob. Congratulations are in order. Yes. Thank you. The fact that he is still alive after going to Boston.
I know. Kind of like, wow, he made it. Made it through the whole trip. No arrest, no nothing. Are you married? No. Okay. Just checking. You never know. You never know what this guy is. Let's see. And then there is Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates III, Junior, Esquire. Oh, gorgeous. Thank you. Oh, boozy. That's right. He is a 23-year-old individual, and he's very tall, very, very tall. He's approximately 6'3".
and so he could be, you know, like a prototype quarterback in the NFL. Oh. Uh-huh, except that he's too sweet to do that. He's a little slouchy. That's right, a little slouchy. We're back. Jerks. So, nice to have the odors. All right, so let's talk. I want to find out what we've been up to. First of all, Eddie went to Maui. Oh, really? - Wow. - Oh really, show off.
- Oh, we didn't. - I haven't even said a word yet. - Okay, all right. - I'm already over it. - Jeez, come on, give the guy a chance. - It's over guys, come on. - Mahalo. - Yeah, mahalo, all right? - Really? - So Eddie, how was your Maui experience? - Well now I feel like I can't even describe-- - How dare you, shut up. - How amazing it was because you guys are just gonna-- - I'm sure. Be angry. It's true, we will. Well, listen, it's paradise. I don't know what you want for me. Fine.
I know all about the island now. Oh, God. Walea and McKenna and Lahaina and everything. I did it all. It was great. How long were you guys there? We were there for, we left on Friday and came back on Wednesday. What was the most adventurous thing you did? I'm like, I almost died. Okay. And I'm not kidding. I'm not joking. This isn't a joke. Come on. Okay, I won't tell you the story then. I want to know. I want to know.
If she's going to be like this, Mike, then... How did you almost die? I'm not joking. Stop doubting him. Maybe he did. This time he means it. Here's the deal. My wife likes to snorkel. Yes. And I am more of a frolicer in the ocean. I don't like to do all that other business. And he likes to frolic. I like to frolic. I like to squash around and play cannonballs, you know, that kind of thing. Blow bubbles. A little body surf if I'm feeling really crazy. Maybe toot?
Well, you know, I like to relieve myself also. You can. You can. We all do. Okay, here's the deal. If we say we don't, we're lying. Thank you, Mike. Nature's porta potty. Come on. The ocean is not nature's port of money. That's horrendous. You should have seen me down the cave. That is the best. Do it with your pants on, though. Here's the deal. So, the wife wants to go to this special snorkeling spot where it's supposed to have the best snorkeling. Is that the volcano?
I go, all right, whatever. I'll go with you. What is that? Where was that? It was by where we stayed. It was by McKenna. It was supposed to be this, you know, there's no beach. It was just all rock and snorkeling. Yeah. And so I go out and get myself a mask and snorkel, no fins, and go, all right, let's do this, man. You know what? I'm ready. Screw it. So I swim out, and I'm looking around, and there's great coral and fish everywhere. And I'm like, this is cool, man. Seas were a little rough that day.
I get to a halfway point of where, you know, I was swimming and I look over and I see like a little spot where I could swim to and rest and then go back. So I start swimming there to that spot and realize I'm looking down and there's nothing but sea urchins and coral on the ground and I can't ever put my feet down to get out. Because you don't have fins. And I don't have fins. Well, you can't step on sea urchins and coral anyway. So I'm like, okay, well, I got to turn around and swim all the way back. So I start heading back, and I'm exhausted.
I'm like, dude, I don't know what I'm doing. I look up out of the water, and I'm right next to the rocks, the lava rocks. Oh, my. A wave comes and slams me into the rocks. No. I have people that are standing up on the cliffs yelling, Get away from the rocks! Oh, my God. You've got to swim away from the rock. I try to hang on to the rock because I don't know what I'm going to do. Oh, my gosh. Another wave. Wham.
Get away from the rock. I can't put my feet down. I've got series everywhere. I don't know what to do. I'm exhausted. Who cares? I can't. Swim away. I'm trying. So I finally make it back. My jaw is open right now, by the way. It's brutal. So, at one point, I do put my hand down and feel, I just put my hand on the sea urchin. And I'm like, you've got to be kidding me. That's like my worst fear, one of my worst fears. And I'm like, oh, no. And so, I swim out to where my wife is, and I'm just like, I'm going to die because I'm exhausted. And so, I backstroke it in.
I get out of the water, look down, and my leg is shredded. I'm bleeding everywhere. And so I'm like, I was bleeding in the ocean. Sharks are everywhere. I know already. Look at my hand. There's something in my finger. Dude. I'm like, this is the worst experience of my life. Eddie, do you know if you went to a place called Molokini Crater? It's a big. No, it was called McKenna Landing. Okay. And so, you know, I get out and my wife had a tank top that she was really old. So like we wrapped it around my leg.
Grove back to the hotel Paramedics had to come and clean up my cuts No, no It was ridiculous Now, what day did that happen? First day, second day? That was on Sunday Oh, no So I had a couple of days left, yeah So no more ocean for you? No, I went back in like that day You're nuts I wasn't going to snorkel again, ever That's crazy Oh, it's brutal But even though you were cut, you went back and see one. I didn't care.
You're my hero. You're my hero. I'm there. I'm like, what am I going to do? I love it. Suck it up, buddy. There you go. That's nuts. So, yeah, it was not cool. Mama's Fish House. Yeah. Please, talk about it. Yeah. Did you enjoy it? It was the best fish I've ever had in my life. Oh, wow. That's good stuff. Did you have the soup? I had the soup, and it was overrated. You're overrated. I'm over you. I'm over you and your husband with your great suggestions. I'm done with you.
I'm done with you. It was good. It was like French onion soup. It was French onion soup. It was nothing special at all. Eddie, what kind of fish did you have? I got Ono. Nice. Whatever that is. I have no idea what it is, but it was delicious. That is great. It was an awesome meal. I mean, you can't beat the view. It was amazing. And overall, Maui was a thumbs up, even though you got slammed into the rocks. Yeah, that wasn't even a downer. I didn't even care.
I was like, whatever, I'm alive. Who cares? And, yeah, it was awesome. I swam next to a giant sea turtle. I'm like, when can you do that? Had a crab crawl on my back and pinched me. Wait, I don't know about that. You can't beat that. How did that happen? I was frolicking. You were frolicking. And there was a crab, yay big. and I felt something pinch me. I looked at my wife, and I go, is there something steamy or something red on me? She goes, you have a crab on your back. Can you take it off? Oh, my.
The sea was after me, I'm telling you. The sea was after me. It must have been. But it was awesome. It was fun. Well, there you go. So Eddie went to Maui. I had my surgery. Skye, what did you do? Well, I spent the first half of the week at home uh doing a lot of gardening oh lots and lots of gardening the usual i wanted to die well this was like we were hitting it hardcore we planted about 150 plants in one day yeah it was stupid and then uh from there uh we went up to the san francisco bay area for the second half
of the week because my brother-in-law was having his wedding reception so we did some fun stuff when we were up there what does that mean what kind of fun stuff what did you do um well you know i had a day where i hung out with the bride and you know we got the nails done and she got some creepy procedure done on her eyebrows that i've never seen done before what is this um what's it called ashley do you know what it's called when they do it with the oh threading it's called threading when they do it with, like, thread?
Sounds bad. I've never heard of that. Yeah. They put thread in your eyebrows? I see some Middle Eastern woman, and she has this hole-in-the-wall shop, and it's called threading, and it's supposed to be, like, better for you. And she actually takes, like, a piece of thread and twists it and uses the tightly wound thread to, like, pluck out your eyebrows. I've never heard of that. She's, like, taking the thread. Yeah, and, like, you have to hold your face in a certain way because it's so painful. The tears just fall out of your eyes. They have tweezers now, you know? Yeah, well, I guess because it doesn't have the chemicals of wax.
And it's, dude, who knows? Well, yeah, Eddie's right. What's wrong with a tweezer? I guess it's not the same, Mike. I don't know. It is 2008. I know. They were like, Sky, do you want to get your little treat? I'm like, no, thank you. Wow. Yeah, and then I went to some very, very odd Asian massage parlor. What? Which was interesting. Sky, come on. Which was interesting. It was interesting. What's that? Oh, Eddie. Yeah. Don't even go there. What's up? I don't know. I don't know what you're into.
Will all of you just grow up a little bit? Well, I mean, we all, we're all thinking the same thing, Sky, and you know it. Okay. We're all thinking. Clear it up, Sky. Just clear the air. So my sister-in-law goes, we should go get massages. I'm like, yeah, but they're so expensive. She's like, no, I know a place that will give you an hour massage for $20. An hour massage for $20, okay? You are. Yeah, and most people know it costs probably about $100 for like an hour massage, $20. So I'm like, and she's like, I've been.
So doesn't that have any kind of thing going on in your head? Well, I'm thinking something weird. Like the alarm isn't going on? But she says she's been there before, and it's awesome. You can also gamble there. So I walk into this room and it's just like the square box of a room. The tiny front entrance is like partitioned off with the desk and then the rest of the room is all these big reclining chairs, just one next to another, just
right next to each other, and everybody is covered in towels and getting rubbed down all in one room. Creepy. I'm uncomfortable. But you keep your clothes on, and then they start hitting your body in this weird way where they're punching your feet and your calves. It was so weird, but it was awesome. You like that? You like that? The karate chop. You're right. Yeah, the guy next to me is like snoring and farting because he's obviously asleep. He's obviously asleep.
You know, the funny thing is, is that this is exactly what I would imagine a $20 massage to look like. You know, the guy next to you is farting. First of all, there's the guy next to you. Yeah, but if they had one of those in San Diego, I would be there like once a week. Come on. Dude, I swear. I don't care. Oh, it's so good. You're gross. I love your massage. Wow. There it is. It was interesting. Let's see. Man, the big one is, I got to ask Sean. Yeah.
Come on. Oh, man. Sean goes to the same 7-Eleven every morning. And he met the 7-Eleven guy, and they hit it off. They had a kinship. And they formed. they formed a relationship and so they discussed that we were going to be taking the week off and they both realized that they were going to be in Lake Tahoe at the same time that can't be right I know isn't that strange and so they're going to be in Lake Tahoe
at the same time so they made plans to dine together but they don't even know each other's name Sean didn't know his name and he didn't know Sean's name Yeah, that's true. But they got each other's information and said, since we're good 7-Eleven friends, why don't we hang out in Tahoe? Well, he got my information. He got Sean's information. He doesn't really have information. For some reason. So what happened, Sean? So, Mike, we got up there and waited around for his call so we could all go out to have a nice dinner together. And he never called.
Oh, wow. Were you disappointed? Because I'd be relieved. I think I was disappointed because I knew I wasn't going to have the experience, but I was a little bit relieved because I wasn't going to have the experience. Really? If that makes any sense. Yeah, I get that. Sure it does. Sure it does. Now, did you see him this morning? No, today's his day off. Today the enemy was working. Oh, yeah. The banana rapist.
The banana rapist. Yes, banana check is his name. It's a guy that forced a banana. They were selling bananas. He tried to. They were selling bananas there at the checkout one time, and the guy asked Sean if he wanted one. Sean said no, and he rang him up for it anyway. And ever since then, Sean... He said, no, you'll have one. And I say, no. That happens. It does happen. It never happens. Sean, is it going to be awkward tomorrow when you see unknown Indian friend? I'm sure I will try and make it unawkward, you know. I'll probably do the, hey, where were you?
We missed you, kind of a thing. So you'll be fake. Pretty much, yeah. That's a good plan. Release the tension. Yeah, good idea. Do you think that as soon as he even just sees you, he'll go, bro? I don't think so. You're never going to even believe this, man. Trip out on this. He doesn't talk like that. Is this going to hurt your friendship? Oh, no. No, I don't think so. I mean, if I was, like, really looking forward to it and I was really disappointed by it, maybe. But like I said, I was a little bit relieved.
Will there be a rain check here? That's what I was thinking. So will you get together now? Not from me. If he wants to extend something, he's going to have to work for it. I may take him up on it, but I will not extend it. Sean plays hard to get. He plays hard to get. Well, that's not the answer. I know about that. That's right. That's not what I'm doing, actually. It is. Speaking of which, the Gay Pride Parade happened this weekend here in San Diego. I missed it? Yeah. I know. What a bummer. It happened in Hillcrest, which is the gay community here in San Diego. This guy, did everything go well?
Yeah, they said it went pretty well. About 150,000 people showed up to march. I am not gay. I never have been gay. How was it, Seth? You jerk. I knew it was coming. He was a gay man. Yeah, so they marched from Hillcrest. As a fellow gay man. Did they match or was it skipping? I mean, who knows? But there were a few protesters out there. Protesting what? Gay.
And the gay right to marriage in California and all this and that. This is Rod Warner. Oh, no. You can't make up names. I'm serious, dude. I know you think I'm messing around. This is road harder. that's right this guy is a protester cut 64 the people said marriage is between a man and woman and the guys up in san francisco said no we're gonna have it our way we don't care what the people say so what are you doing there bro what are you you know what are you gonna do he's he's
Turning the gays back to straights, Mike. One at a time. I would love to do an interview and, you know, kind of get inside the mind of guy that drives down to Hillcrest with a, you know, like, I guess in his backseat, a big sign that he worked on at home, like arts and crafts. Your choice is to sleep in Saturday morning and maybe go out to breakfast or else get up and protest the gay pride parade. For sure, yeah.
Those are your options. Oh, there's the woman I'm sexually attracted to. You know, and the people are asking the guy, so what are you doing today? Hey, we're having a barbecue over at the place. You guys want to come over? Oh, I can't. I've already got plans. I got a lot going on. I'm protesting gays. Check out my sign. That's right. Check out the sign I have made. Okay, let's see. This is Ray Sabatini. He's a Pride spokesperson. Cut 63. We're seeing, of course, and we're going to continue to see after Pride, a very great mobilization against Prop 8.
There you go. This is the San Diego Gay Pride Parade Executive Director, Ron DeHarty. Cut 62. They're welcome to come out and express their viewpoints. So do we expect any greater numbers? I think we'll see the same level of numbers that we've seen in recent years. And Pride certainly has its share of folks that come out and participate in protest. Yeah, there's always going to be people that want to protest. People will protest anything. Front page of the paper today, by the way, says that traffic here in San Diego is down.
So I want to talk about that and see if you agree. Our phone number is 570-1053. We didn't get to do any open phones, so I would love to. 570-1053 is our phone number. And at the beginning and end of every show, we do an open phone, and we're back live in the studio, so we would love to talk to you. 570-1053 is the number. Our text number is 35253. So give us a call, text message us, and say to us, so glad you're back. Whatever you want to do.
How do you do? Yeah, how do you do? Whatever you want to say. So I want to hear more about what happened on the vacations from all you guys. We have a little something called the DCC. Oh. The Dumb Chick Challenge. Welcome back. That's right. Let's see. What else are we going to do? We got a big... We got so much stuff because of everything that's been going on. Let's see. I'm starting to pick up those brake lights in the south 15 right now as you work your way out of Escondido.
Slow off to 78 down to Via Rancho Parkway. Now slowing through Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain Ranch in a brief delay to Poway. The westbound 52 also seeing a few brake lights up the hill out of Santee to the top of the summit. Other than that, things are pretty quiet. The 894 moving right along. 805 and the 5 northbound are up to speed. That 5 south out of the North County down the shoreline is also looking fantastic. A bit of a backup on the bridge, though, heading into Coronado, about mid-span onto the island. There was an earlier disabled car near the old toll plaza that caused that backup there. The Catilite presents Bad Habit Confessions. Hello, my name is Luis, and I'm here to confess a really bad habit. Hang on. Hello? Hey, what's going on? Okay, I'll talk to you soon. I didn't even realize I had a bad habit until... Hang on. Hello? Yo, amigo. ¿Qué pasa, man? Sure. You got it. I didn't know I had a bad habit until this guy approached me in a bar and said... You know, that's a bad habit. What's a bad habit? Hang on. What? No, it's not raining here. Sorry, you were telling me what's a bad habit?
It's obvious. Drinking that light beer. Try Tecate Light. It tastes like real cerveza. So I tried Tecate Light. And after one drink, I broke my bad habit of drinking flavorless light beer. It feels good to now be bad habit-free. Hang on. Hello? Hey, what's going on? Break the habit. Try Tecate Light. For those who want more. Responsible drinking is a good habit. Batman The Dark Knight dethrones Spider-Man 3 for the biggest opening weekend after making over $155 million this weekend. Craig Norman blows it again. He shoots 7 over par in the final round to lose the British Open to defending champion Patrick Harrington. Welcome back to the show. We are back live in the studio, which is great. I have noticed that with my situation, because I had surgery, the thing that happens and my voice gets, it kind of gets a little drainy as time goes on. It's because of the, you guys remember this, the last time I had surgery, it's because of that pipe that they, or the tube that they put in your throat for the, what do you call it, anesthesia.
And so it doesn't hurt or anything, it just gets worn out. And so, but I'm glad to be back. 570-1053 is our number. You can text us at 35253. And we should probably take some phone calls because I want to talk to P1s and see what we're doing and what everybody's up to and how everybody is. And I also got to catch up with everybody on the show. I want to talk to Ash and Boston Rob and Zeth and find out what everybody's been doing. So let's take some phone calls. Line one.
Let's go to line one. Uh, let's see. Mikey Show, hello. Hi, good morning. How you doing? I just want to let you guys know how much I miss you on my morning drive to work. Oh, that's cool. Is this P1 Jamie? It is. Okay, cool. My call screening is working properly then. Oh. I know who you are. Well, nice, Jamie. Where are you going right now? To work? Yeah, I'm on my way to work. What do you do? I'm a stupid manager at a major grocery store. Nice. Yeah, you are. Nice.
What up? Did you get to, were you listening to the best of while we were gone? Yeah, but I generally go to work a little bit earlier, so. Yeah? That's a no. That's definitely a no. That was a really, yeah, that was a very polite way to say, no, I don't listen when it's best of, which some people don't. Yeah, some people don't. I don't know what it is that, unless it's a live, actual live body, human being doing and saying stuff, people, for whatever reason, they don't want to hear it. I don't know why that is.
Well, we've heard most of it, so, you know. Oh, that's true. That's true. And I actually talked to a couple of people during the break that are newer listeners that really enjoy hearing the old stuff. Right. Because they've never heard it before. So I totally get it. I totally get it. I appreciate the phone call, Jamie, and have a good day. You too. Line two is P1 Paparazzi. Oh, hello. I saw Eddie in the camera. Sorry. Instantly not enjoy hearing that. But hey, listen, that's okay.
You know, P1 Paparazzi, usually a good contributor on the phone, just not one of Eddie's favorites. We all knew it was coming. To each their own, to each their own. Paparazzi, what's going on? I just wanted to welcome you back for one. It's nice to hear you guys back on the air live. Thank you, brother. Thank you. And I was wondering, did you hear about the new burger that came out with? It's supposed to be the world's best hamburger made with, I think, a Colby grade five beef and truffles? Who sells it? Somewhere in New York, they're selling it.
But I'm trying to find out. I've never heard of grade five beef before. I've only heard of, like, grade eight. So I thought maybe you'd know something about that. Don't know anything about grade five beef. Is it at a restaurant, or what are you talking about? Yeah, it's not a restaurant, but it's Colby beef. I don't know what the difference is. Yeah, it's at Carl's Jr. It's called the Prime Rib Burger. It's real good. I saw the commercial for it. Yeah, it's really delicious. It's really delicious. I did read something about this crazy hamburger at a joint in New York right by Wall Street. And they basically, if you have, like, a windfall day on Wall Street, people go and order this burger because it's, like, crazy expensive. Really?
Yeah, I'll try and Google it and see if I can find. Well, I hadn't heard about it, but it sounds great. You can get Kobe burgers all over the place. Is it this $175 deal, black truffles, blah, blah, blah? Yeah, that's it. Yep. I think I found it here. It says, in the latest development in ridiculously priced food, Wall Street Burger Shop, that's the name of the place, Wall Street Burger Shop, has introduced a $175 Kobe burger that comes topped with truffles, foie gras, and truffles. And gold.
Gold? Now, for those of you that don't know, foie gras is like pate, goose liver pate, usually. Most people consider it gross. Yes. I would say so. And I'm guessing that the gold is like those little gold shavings, which you can eat. But what's the point? It's so stupid. So you're eating gold? Yeah, yeah, yeah. A little gold shavings. Gold. Gold. That's good for you. Don't knock it till you try it. Hey, now.
Hey, now. If you can wipe with it, you can eat it. Okay. 570-1053 is the phone number. So that's a deal. Okay, thank you, paparazzi. Appreciate it. On line three is somebody that we all know named P1 Quimby. Okay, good night. Oh, my gosh, you guys. How you doing? I'm doing, I'm just okay. I'm not going to lie. Uh-oh. I don't know. What's going on? Well, this takes away from my traffic, but whatever.
I got robbed at work. What? You didn't. And I found my property in somebody else's purse. Well, wait. How do you find something in someone else's purse? The person who, my iPod, it wound up in this person's purse. She is by this workstation where, like, we pick up all of our copies and stuff like that. And so I was looking on the floor under the tables that are over there thinking, did I just, like, drop it on the ground or something? And her purse is right there on the ground, and I just kind of glanced, and I saw it.
Let me translate. Yes. Quimby was pretty sure this chick took her iPod, saw her purse, and thought, I'll look on the ground and casually peek into the purse. Let's see, what's up? And you saw it? Yeah. Wow. And what did you do? I took it back. Three gig iPod, nano. Did you confront? I told my boss because I didn't know what else to do. Yeah. And I got written up. You got written up? What?
Huh? Why'd you get rid of that? Because I went into her purse and admitted it. And they said they had no proof that the iPod, first of all, was mine. So they took away my iPod for a couple days. And did this girl say, that's my iPod? No, she didn't. She claimed that somebody went into her purse twice the day that I found it. And I was like, yeah, because I went in there once and so get back. So she's saying somebody planted your iPod in her purse.
Hey, you guys, it could happen. That does happen all the time. OJ. All the time. Yes, OJ Simpson. People will plant things everywhere, man. Like my DNA. Right? I don't get that. That's right. A knife in the neck. OJ Simpson. Careful there, double over the top, OJ Simpson. Wow, so you got written up, Quimby. I got written up. I got in trouble. They didn't mention to her about me going in her purse, so I'm not allowed to speak about it at work. Wow.
You work in a weird place. It is weird. So guess what? My resume is out there on Monster. Aw, you're cute. Look at it. I'm done with that job. I think God has taught me what I need to learn at this job. Now he's saying, go ahead, put that resume out there. Yeah, it sounds like a weird place to work. It's the most cattiest. It's 90% women that work. It's 90% women? Yes. You guys get all synced up. Imagine all them angry at the same time.
Yeah, but Mike, the reason I did call in today is because I saw your interview. What does that mean? You look really tough. P1 Danny came by and interviewed me and put it on P1 site. How you doing? How's your father? And that kind of deal. So that people, when we were on break, how's Mikey recovering kind of thing. And so he came over to my house and interviewed me. And Jake crawls on my lap during it. That's cute. Yeah.
That's cute. Yeah, so you can see it on P1 site. Yeah, I was going to talk about that. Yeah, you look tough, dude. I don't know what that means. Well, I was concerned that... Well, she's talking about, I think, the lack of the mustache with the goatee with the lack of the mustache. Yeah, you look like you could take somebody in a knife fight, Mike. I can't. I can't. I'm letting you know. I'm letting you know. I'll tell you what I can do, though. I make pesto. Oh, really? Yeah, it's pesto. You're using a knife. I'm using a knife, yeah.
And I'm into gardening. So, you know... Not good in a knife fight, but I can aerate hibiscus really well. So, thank you. That's like nobody's business. So, congratulations. There you go. Thank you very much, Quimby. That's P1 Quimby. Ham a good day. Ham a good day to you, too. Oh, no. Everybody give her a ham. This guy has already got the look like, you know what? What is that? It's one week off, and now we're back. That kind of look. Great. Let's take a break. When we come back, I really want to talk about this traffic situation in San Diego.
So what do you think? It's a front page of the UT today. That's the biggest story going on in San Diego is our traffic. Has it improved or not? We got the ponies are racing back again at Del Mar. What do you think about that? How about that? They're running horses over there. So we'll take a quick time out. And when we come back, I will tell you about this traffic situation. What is the story? Has it gotten better or has it not? Catch up more of us with what's going on, what happened on our summer vacation. Quick time out, be back and do all that.

You have a lawn to edge somewhere. Oh, man. Boston Rob. That's crazy. That's crazy. We're giving away a cheap angle. And Ashley. I'll go through a roll of toilet paper in a day. The Mikey Show's on. He went to Washington for a second-round draft pick. What do you think, Eddie? Is he going to make an impact over there? I think so. I think Jason Taylor's still got skills left. He'll probably be good for a couple more years. Certainly a good dancer. That is true. That's a pass. He's really good. That's right. Batman set a new record, Sky said. Yep.
What is that all about? What was it again? For the biggest opening weekend, the title was previously held by Spider-Man 3. That made about $151 million its opening weekend. Well, this weekend, The Dark Knight made $155 million. Oh, wow. I've talked to a couple of people that have seen it that say, it's incredible. Really? Eddie, have you seen it yet? No, I've been gone. I haven't been able to go. Sean, what about you? No, I have not seen it yet. Wait a second. Ashley and I went.
You did? Yeah. You went to the premiere, right? Now, wait a second. This is bizarre. I talked to Sean once, and he said that he was going to the movie. Right. He was on his way to the movie over break. So you went to the movie and did not see Batman? Yeah, we went to the movies with the intention of seeing Batman. But the two showings that were beyond where we wanted to, like, the 6.30, 7.30, they were already sold out. So we tried to get in for the later one, and that one was, like, 75% sold out. So we were like, you know what?
We need to wait around the mall here for three and a half hours, or we can just go see something else right now. What did you see? Oh, no. Look at the smile on his face. Well, that just told you immediately he didn't want to say, and I'm embarrassed. Wait a second. We saw a movie and that was that, okay? No, no, no, no. Was it the other new release that came out over the weekend? What was the other one? Well, it was Mamma Mia. No. Oh. Thank goodness. Definitely not. I was going to say. Thank goodness. That's good.
What did you see? It doesn't matter, really. No, it matters. It means everything. Look, I saw WALL-E. What do you want? That can't be true. What? You saw Wall-E. That can't be true. Was it great? It is true. It was pretty good. Yeah. Sean. That's awesome. He's unbelievable. That is awesome. Oh, my God. Dude, the line was so long for Batman. The line was so long for Batman. I saw Wall-E instead.
Wall-E. Sky, Ashley, how is it? It was good. It was really good. Yeah, I loved it. I didn't really get it, but I loved it. You're so confusing about it. There was a lot of things confused. I really couldn't follow any of it. Really? Yeah. I didn't really understand it. Sky? I knew what was going on. There was a lot of transitions and characters. Did you see it in Ensenada, Ashley? Well, it was in IMAX, so maybe that...
What does that have to do with the decade? I don't know, I'm just trying to... Maybe because it was so big. Concepts were bigger. Yes. Yes, yes, the concepts were bigger. I've never seen Batman Begins, and my boyfriend said that that's probably why. Oh my gosh, my boyfriend. My boyfriend who I am. He said that's probably why I did it. That's so much. That's why I probably didn't understand some of it. But I... You're shaking your head, no. But I loved it, and... Well, you know how it's hard for me to call you. I have an idea. I have an idea. It was really long and hard for me with my attention span.
It was long. I have an idea. Yeah. Maybe Ashley could ask Skye to explain the parts that she didn't understand. Well, see, but that's the thing. I watched Batman Begins on my ride home on my flight last night, and it was like piecing everything together. I finally understood who Morgan Freeman's character was and where he came from, who the guy with the mustache was and where he came from. So when you saw Dark Knight, you just thought, yeah, you thought that Morgan Freeman was still playing his character from driving the game. I was just thrown off.
But, you know, like, it doesn't even matter, Mike, because Heath Ledger was so fantastically, insanely genius that it doesn't matter. I want to go see it again just to watch Heath Ledger's performance. That's what I've heard. It was stupid good. I don't know. I mean, I think it was good, but I, I mean, I'm sorry to say this, but I think if he was still alive today, people wouldn't be raving about it as much as possible. Oh, Skye, you are awful. You're a bad person. I mean, I'm sorry. I mean, I think it was, I think it was a great performance, but I don't think people would be talking Oscar if he was alive.
People were seeing that before the movie came, before he died. That this performance was going to make him a giant star. Now, Seth, you saw it too? No. Oh, you didn't? You've just seen all the trailers and agreed? How can Seth disagree with Skye if he hasn't seen it? No, he says he agrees with me, but he hasn't seen it. But he hasn't seen it, though. I thought he's seen it. It was insane. He was insane. Like, it was nuts. You know what I'm hearing about it? I hear about his performance is that he does this really creepy thing with his tongue. Yeah.
Where he like flickers his tongue out like licks his lips. Well, because he has those scars on the side of his mouth, you know, where his Joker face is, and so it's almost like he's constantly rubbing his tongue on the scars on the inside. Yeah, I kind of love that. I heard it's real creepy. It was freaky. That's great. I loved it. Yeah, it was a good movie. Let's see, P1 Talon is on line one. And Talon, if I'm right, didn't you go to like the midnight premiere opening night kind of thing? Yeah, I did.
And I also saw it in IMAX on Saturday. Now, I've only been to an IMAX place one time. It was at an amusement park. I think it was Great America. Yeah, they show those like nature documentaries. America. Yeah. Those are awesome. Sky, you've seen that, right? Yes, yes. Isn't it? Now, I don't know about you, but I always thought it was so big and it was almost like disorienting. You know, it wasn't like seeing a movie on a regular big screen because you kind of had to turn your head over here to see the action and then turn your head over here. Yeah, well.
And then Michael Corleone said this. And then, you know, Michael Corleone looked over here and he said, yeah, Batman. Yeah, well, I saw the, you know, IMAX at Mira Mesa for Batman, and it didn't seem as big as I remembered it from, like, the Great America, like you were talking about, but I think it also had, it's important where you sit when you watch an IMAX. Like, if you're too close to the front, forget it. Should you sit middle, way in the back? I'd sit, like, middle back. Middle back. The middle of the back section. But, Skye, did you enjoy seeing it that way?
Yeah, yeah. I mean, I thought it was good. I mean, to be honest, I didn't really notice. much of a difference. Now I'm going to see it in a normal place. If she didn't, yeah, because that's a thing. I don't want to spend all the time to try to go see it all special like that, and then it's like seeing it normal. Well, Taylin said he saw it both ways, so maybe he has a better opinion on it. Taylin swings both ways? No way, he saw it. This is news. I have my suspicions. Who knew that? I think he was in the Pride Parade this weekend. Wow.
Now, so, Taylin, what did you think? First of all, what did you think of the movie? And then tell us the difference. Should we go see it in IMAX? Well, okay. I thought the movie was great. I didn't think it was as good as Iron Man, but Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was just inspiringly good. I mean, that's not what Sky says. I said it was good. I just don't think it was good. I thought it was a bomb. No. A big flop. Yes, I spit on it. It reminded me of Ishtar. Yes. So, okay, so the performance by Heath Ledger is great.
And then tell us about the IMAX. Should we see it that way? If you can, go see IMAX because they specifically did a bunch of scenes that were done in IMAX. There were, like, six scenes in the movie that were very, like, it was very well done. And you could tell the difference of the scenes that were IMAX versus non? Like, you look at the, like, the screen is, you know, they got the movie playing on the screen, and they show, like, buildings. Yeah. And it's like you're looking at the buildings, and you're, like, just a few feet away from them. Greetings.
Yeah, there you go. There you go. That's really cool. All right, Taylin. Hey, thanks for the call, man. No problem. When we come back. Don't go anywhere. When we come back. I want to catch up more on what everybody was doing on their vacation. That means YouTube P1s. What were you doing the last week? We haven't talked. Now we're back together again. Well, the ride's getting a little bit tougher in some spots out here. The South 15 now seeing some heavy traffic off the 78 down at Via Rancho Parkway and the Rancho Bernardo. Briefly, it's for Carmel Mountain Ranch and Poway. The Westbound 56 also has a bit of a tight ride off the 125 to Mass Boulevard. There was an earlier disabled car there. And then stacks up about halfway up the hill to the top of the summit towards Santo Road. West 8, traveling out of the East County. You're good to go all the way to Mission Valley. The West 94 King Freeway is also a clear ride. downtown. And things are looking pretty good right now on both the 5 and 805 northbound up into the city. The 805

Boston Rob here with you. And P1's listen up, man. And Ashley. I'm a really good maker. Yes. The Mikey Show's on. All right, we're all hilarious. Rock 105.3. Yeah, dog. Welcome back. Yeah.
Oh, old school. It's a Mikey show at 7.15. A new report says that the U.S. Open Golf Tournament brought $142 million to the county last month. The Dodgers beat the D-backs and are now tied for the NL West League. Hey, our phone number is 570-1053, and our text number is 35253. Eddie, no one dances like that. Please, please. That's the truth. Okay, you dance like that, but no one with Christmas. I think it's an impressive dance, myself.
I mean, he's like the letter M, and he's having a seizure. Harky from Not Life School, Not Life School. Harky, for government, dances like that. Okay. Thank you very much. Sky, you've got... Come on. Which one's that? I know it. I know it. It's a great movie, Sky. It's the same people that did Best in Show. I've seen that. It's fantastic.
Calm down. 5701053 is the phone number. Text 35253. Love to hear from you. So, yeah, let's check in with people on the phones. We're back live in the studio. Mikey's show is back on live, although I am broadcasting from home. Yeah, it's really freaky seeing Zeth sit in your chair, Mike. Is that weird? It's very, like, I think the studio is going to catch on fire like any second. Come on. It might. It might. I'm just saying.
You never know. Okay. I am broadcasting from home, and everybody else is back in the studio. Sean, of course, in San Francisco. On Mars. That's right. Before we left, I told you I wanted to talk about this deal with the traffic in San Diego. It's the front page today of the UT. And they're saying that basically it's dropped, Skye? Yes, traffic is way down in San Diego. They say as much as 9% from last year.
Way down? Well, dude, like, it's crazy. Thank you. So, you know, I live in Escondido, so lots of times, you know, I got to get home, you know, right after the show. Like, I can't do the 9 to 5 thing. It's down 0.9%. Shut up. It's approximately 30 cars less. You guys are jerks. But I swear, like, there hasn't been traffic. Like, I haven't been hitting traffic lately, and I've even been saying to my husband, like, no, we can go to the Outback in Poway. The bridge only takes six hours now. No, dude, like traffic really is not bad at all lately. That's cool, man.
9% is a lot. I cut my commute time by 9%. Holy gibbers. Yes. Jibbity-chabbity, hello Outback. Oh, so good. So they say California as a whole, 78% of drivers say they're driving less because of gas prices. 28% say they're carpooling more, and 17% say they're taking public transportation. So this has to do with, obviously, gas prices and also the fact that the... Zeth wrote a Segway to work today. It was awesome.
Mimi. And also the fact that the economy's kind of bad, so unfortunately not as many people are working right now. The economy is terrible. Our country right now is just gnarly, man, with the gas and the economy. Thanks, Republicans. Everything is... Thank you, Clinton. How dare you? Hey, guys, it's cyclical, man. I hope you guys realize this. This is going to happen again. Just like global warming is. We know, Mike. I never said that global warming was cyclical. Back in the day, it's a natural pattern in history, sky, where it gets hot and then it cools. Let me tell you something.
I will still maintain this as far as that global warming stuff goes. I do believe that Earth is getting warmer. There's no doubt about it. I do believe that. But what I thought was always so baloney was people putting their hands on the side of their faces like Macaulay Culkin and Home Alone going, oh, my gosh, look at these hurricanes. It's because of global. No, it isn't. I said, listen, next year, you're going to see that we're not going to have 900,000 hurricanes. And we didn't. And this season, there's not been all these disasters.
It's cyclical. These things come in cycles. The Earth went through an ice age at one point. Is that our fault, too? These are not facts. It's a truth. Eddie's right. Eddie, you're right. You see? You're great. Come on. For goodness sake. By the way, P1 Bradsky on line one agrees with Sky on the traffic thing. He says that traffic has gotten better for him. Right, Bradsky? Yep, that's absolutely true, Sky. You're 100% correct. Where do you commute from?
I drive from Camecula to San Diego every day, and I've noticed, like, within the last six months or so, the traffic is so much better. Like, I hit traffic in Escondido, like, every once in a while, but other than that, I could get anywhere I need to be, you know, within a half hour, 45 minutes. Well, I think the 9% translates to a ton of people. That's what I'm saying. Well, it does. You're laughing at me. No, no, no, listen. That's 10% of the people who used to be driving on the road. And it's nine, actually.
Well, it's nine, but to make the math easier, if there was like 100,000 people. You're rounding up. Well, I'm saying to make the math easier so people can visualize. Sky, I'm with you. I think that when you're dealing with big numbers, 9% is a ton of cars. Yeah, man. Shut up, Sky. It's the truth. It is. Hey, thanks for the phone call, Bradsky. I appreciate it. Uh, did Brandon Vera win, Vera, did Brandon Vera win his fight, uh, in the UFC on Saturday night?
Yes, he did, Mike. Yay! It was a disappointing fight, though. I wasn't disappointed. Even, even Brandon said in the interview, he's so great, like, I love that guy, but, um, the fight, it went three rounds, and just not that much action, you know, it was a very dull fight, and Brandon Vera, when, you know, Joe Rogan interviewed him at the And he even admitted he was like, yeah, you know, cutting weight was a little bit harder because he cut down to 205. And he's like, it was a little bit harder than I thought. I didn't have as much energy as I thought. He's like, I'm sorry, fans, you know, and I'll be stronger next time. So, I mean, even Brandon admitted like it wasn't the best fight.
Is he staying there at that weight or is he going to go back to being bigger? He said he'll do whatever the UFC wants. But as far as I know, he's staying at 205 and he's just going to continue to like strengthen. There's bigger fights for him at 205. Right. I mean, he could fight, you know, Chuck Liddell, he could fight Vanderlei Silva, he could fight Rampage. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Big names are at 205. But he won, and that's all that matters. That's all that matters. I was super, super stoked. Yeah. We are back live in the studio, 570-1053 is our phone number, our text number, 35253. We got a great YouTube clip of the day coming up in just a little bit.
We're going to be doing the Dumb Chick Challenge in just a little bit. That iPhone is making my brains fall out. I'm so irritated at trying to get the iPhone, and I think that they're screwing with people. Mike, what are you talking about? Let me explain. They're screwing with people. Sky, I mean it. I'm not joking with you in this situation. What? Okay. How? What's going on, Mike? Well, first of all, Zeth gets me dialed in. He does. He helps me out with how to get the iPhone because they're saying to everybody, it's sold out, it's sold out, it's sold out. When you walk up every day, there's a line.
And I don't mean a line like four or five people. I mean a line like at the movie theater where they put those things out to snake you. Wow. Okay. And so you don't know where to get it. That's the thing. Where is it on sale? Where is it not on sale? Where is it sold out? Where is it not sold out? Like back in the day with the Cabbage Patch Kids. Exactly. I hear you. Sky knows what I'm saying. That was nuts back then. So Zet says, hey, every night after 9 p.m., apple puts on their website where they're selling it the next day and so he told me on uh he wrote me an email friday night he said tomorrow morning it's going to be at fashion valley
you show up and uh they're gonna have they say they're gonna have it there and so i go i first of all i go on their website and find out that the Apple Store in Mission Valley is open at 10. So I show up at 9 o'clock with a beach chair. You're so cute. There's already a line. And when I walk up to the end of the line, an Apple Store employee is coming through telling everybody arriving, we're sold out. Oh. And I said, well, then why? I go, then why are people in line?
And he said, they're just waiting to see if a shipment comes in. and i said are you kidding me now i had been through this already a few times going to apple stores either at utc or at fashion i've been through this and this time i'm down there with my stupid chair i'm achy and i'm like i'm not getting back in my car right now i'm gonna wait with the rest of the people so i sit there and they come out and they say if at 12 15 this afternoon we don't have a shipment we're not going to get a shipment
and tell all your friends because that means we're not going to get any tomorrow because we don't get any on sunday we're just not going to have any and i said what about this thing on the website that said you guys are going to have some today they said well we did but we've already sold them out I said it's 9 o'clock in the morning you don't open until 10 o'clock yeah how's that work buddy he says well we're opening at 8 for iPhone people that want to buy and I said you're not telling anybody you're not telling anyone and so
according to this guy this is 9.30 in the morning now according to this guy they opened their store at 8 o'clock sold out of the iPhones that they had and they're saying if we don't get any by 12 15 all you people in line we're not going to get any today and that means we're not going to get any tomorrow and i'm sitting here and i'm working it out in my head i go this doesn't make sense if they had a shipment and the shipment sold out that means we're already in that situation it means that you've already we've already not got any and why aren't you telling everybody to just go home uh but i guess people are just waiting to
see will anything come in will anything come in so they come out a little bit later they say uh we just got a shipment and none of the shipment had iphones on it you can all leave oh so i i picked up my goofy little little beach chair and i hobbled my way back to my car and i drove home no iphone what's so great about like why do you need like why does everybody need it's super it's super fast it really is a great product that's what i hate about it so much
yeah if it wasn't so good i wouldn't care but it's uh really you know it makes surfing the internet real fast you can download stuff real fast uh it's got uh live gps it's a neat product But in, like, two months, won't they be everywhere? Like, you don't have to wait. You don't have to do nothing else. No, they'll come out with another version. Right. Probably. Yeah, and then you won't be able to give this one away. Yeah, but as all of you guys know, I want it now, daddy. I want it now. You guys know how I am.
Yeah. Why don't we do something called the Dumb Chick Challenge? Why don't we do that right now? Let's do it. Let's do it. come on here we go awesome my brain is not prepared let's do it it's been turned off for like nine days now what if you guys feel that way it's been on auto what if you feel that way though and then you nail it
and then you nail it it could happen Mike chance Ashley 5701053 the way the dumb chick challenge works is they're trying to get to five points they've got three types of questions one point two point and three point ones are easy threes are hard harder first person first person at five points wins now you call us right now 5701053 and you get to pick your horse you're either going to pick sky ashley or boston rob to represent you in the dumb chick challenge
and if they win it then you win Sky has won 415 out of the last 417 what happened to Rob? I don't know it's so weird after the Patriots got busted videotaping their opponents do tell Rob hasn't won either interesting so 5701053 is the phone number Give us a call right now and pick your horse. Let's go to line one. Line one is P1 Bubba S.
Are you there, Bubba S? Yes, Mikey, I'm here. How are you? Good. How are you doing today? I'm fantastic, despite the fact that I have fishing lines sticking out of my stomach. I'm actually... Fishing lines. I'm telling you guys, they use these dissolvable stitches on me, okay? Okay. Do you know how these things work? I think I got those in my wisdom teeth. Here's how it works. They put these, it looks like fishing wire, the stitches. First they stitch you up, then they super glue your skin closed. Come on.
I've heard that works for a lot of things, the super glue. It does. Bubble gum. Yeah, bubble gum. Yeah, they ran out of the super glue. They used Hubba Bubba for the last part of it. But anyway, all right, P1 Bubba S, who would you like to select? I would like the Winter Sky. Well, yeah, it's probably a good choice. Hang on a second. Let's go to line three. Line three is P1, Alex Gator. Gator. Gator. Hi, Alex.
How are you? I'm good. Doing good. Doing good. You cut out there. Who would you like to select? I would like Boston Rob. Boston Rob is our second choice, and that just leaves line four. Who's left? Line four is P1, Rude Dog. Hey, what's up, Mikey? Not too much, dude. You get Ashley. All right, let's go. Ashley. Haven't you called in and picked me before? Have you, Rude Dog? Have you called in and picked her before? I don't think so.
Oh, gosh. I think I actually picked Rob in Sky. All right. I don't know what you mean. That would make more sense. Hang on the line, P1 Rude Dog. So, Eddie, what is the price today? We have a family four-pack of tickets to Comic-Con. Oh, my God. Sold out. Sold out. What's up? What's up? What's up? That's a huge prize. Now, when does that start, that Comic-Con? This weekend. Yeah. It starts this weekend? What does it normally start on, like, a Thursday or something?
Yeah, Thursday through Sunday. Yeah. What's up? All sold out, Mike. All I know is that Space Boy, he got a robe. A robe. Yeah, a robe. Yeah, it's a Harry Potter robe. Of course. He bid on it. He bid on it. A bid on it? on ebay what yeah yeah yeah yeah it's the truth this is not i'm not messing around you got a robe like uh you know like harry potter robe interesting that's right dude this is going to be so many stars this year it's out of control really oh yeah like big name stars dude every imagine every big star they're gonna be there it's crazy yeah that's pretty cool yeah it's really uh okay so
it's comic con tickets and let's get this thing started uh eddie who starts uh we're gonna start with the resonator oh oh oh i'm not ready i'm not ready boston rob the point is to get to five points what do you want a one two or three point question oh let's let's go big and go three oh you're not ready why would you go i know because i'm not ready let's go hard yeah that's a three point question here is your question your three pointer Rob how many days will it be before a clock losing 30 minutes a day
shows the right time again I don't even get that's the easiest thing I've ever heard that's so funny hold on say that slower come on how many days will it be before a clock losing 30 minutes a day shows the right time again. Oh, easy. Easy? How are you going to say that right now? Because it is. All I know is that we're going to be losing 30 minutes a day
with Rob trying to answer the question. Seriously. He takes so long to answer. I ain't going to MIT. Come on. It takes so long. Did I go to MIT? You need to go to MIT to answer. I drank there a couple of times. Oh, this is on the admittance test. I'm going to say 30 days. I don't know. That is incorrect. Was I supposed to answer in days? Rob, how many? 20 minutes. Mike, a couple of weeks? Nine months.
Rob, you were. Nine months. Don't even bother. You're such a goofball. You were supposed to answer in days, but that was wrong. It was 24 days, Rob. I don't even understand what the question was. Just to use the simple math, if you're losing 30 minutes a day, 24 days. Well, how do I know what time is that? starting. You didn't say like a new or two. That makes a difference. Is it a leap year? Is it a leap year? Come on. Are we on East Coast time or is this West Coast? Why would that matter?
That wouldn't matter. Forget it. Alright, Sky. Sky has a system. Yes, I do. She asks a two-point question, a two-point question, and a one-point question. She's over that. She wins all the time doing that. This will be the time. Watch this, everybody. So, Skye, check it out. Go. Skye. Two-pointer. Oh, come on. Squish. Two-point question is, how many states are named after former presidents? Skye, how many states?
This is your face, dude. Oh, no. Look at that. I can see it in the camera here. It is a look of, are you really doing this right now? Because this is really happening in my life. Like, I had a week of really fun extreme gardening. And now this. Oh, boy. Come on, Skye. I don't think any of them are, if we're being honest. Wow. You're my favorite. You're my favorite. Wow. So is your answer. Knock that mic. Oh, no, no, no, it isn't.
No, it isn't. Now, you're saying states. You're not saying cities. Yes, former president of California. Remember him? He was good. I believe his first name Grover. Yes, Grover, California. Remember Grover, California? That wonderful inauguration speech. William H. South Dakota. Oh, look at her. I'm trying to go through all the states in my head.
There's a song. There's a song. Oh, there's a song. Sing it out loud. Sing it. Sing the song. Well, I forget parts of it. It goes like this. And a one, and a two, and a one, two, three. And California, Nevada, Oregon, Mississippi. It goes in alphabetical order, Mike. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado. Nevada. Wait. Oh, no. Ashley messed you all up. Yeah. I can't think of a single one. Okay.
Well, that's incorrect. I didn't answer that. Oh, my goodness. So I'm going to answer two. Okay. That's incorrect. Would you like to try again? Easy. Sky, it's actually one. It actually is one state. Washington. Who was that? I didn't make it all the way to the W. You guys kept messing up my flow. I needed to make. Who's that? Stephen Washington? Ulysses S. Washington?
George H. Washington? That's what the W is standing for George H.W. Washington Ashley No I didn't want to go skip me Oh come on We can't skip you You gotta pick a one, a two or a three point question You can do this Ash Come on Are you wearing a wristband? It's a bracelet We gotta get the camera set up on Ashley So I can describe what's going on I look good, I'm tan Oh, no, look at that.
It's out the blonde in my hair and makes my ass pop. You knock it off. I look good. Pushed against the wall from that eagle over there. Holy mackerel. Wow. I love it. Wow. Ash, what do you want? No bangs today? No. No bangs? The hair's curly. Oh, God. Shut up. The hair's curly today. But I like her bangs. I like her bangs. No. Come on, Ash. What do you want? A one, two, or three-point question? Oh, she's looking at Eddie. Eddie's giving direction. Eddie's, what do you think, Eddie?
We got it. Give me one. Oh, wow. Yes. Watch this. Not shooting very high there, Ash. Don't need to. Here is your one point question. Ashley, what bodily function can reach the speed of 200 miles per hour? That is interestingly worded. I don't think we can talk about that stuff. Be careful.
200 miles per hour? Yes. I'm thinking either yakadoozine or... Yakadoozine? What the hell? Yakadoozine? Yakadoozine. Well said. What is that all about? What do you think it is, please? Oh, that's vomiting. It's yakadoozine. Well said. Come on, Ash. Are you going to go with yak-a-doozing or... What are we thinking here? Blowing your nose. I don't know.
It's fun. She's going to guess. I will say... It's not blood flowing. What? It's definitely not blood flowing. I'm going to rule that one out. I'm going to rule that one out. Like the last time, you know, you cut yourself with a paper cut and it came spewing out at 200 miles an hour. It put a hole in the wall. Yes, you were power washing the sidewalk. It's got to be either... It sounds familiar. Yeah. Actually, Mike. It's got to be either puking or sneezing.
Hiccuan. Hiccupine? Ashley. I'll say blowing your nose, like the sneezing. Blowing your nose. Wait. Sneezing. She's making me insane Sneezing That is correct Ashley You're amazing You're inspiring You are You rock my life And if you're just tuning in That was actually a one point That was a one point question It sounded like a three
But before we got there We went through yakadoosing, bleeding Oh Mike you can't see it But she has an abacus out right now That's right And a map That's what he's doing I don't know why Ashley is on the board with one point It means we're that much closer to having a winner It means we're that much closer to getting to five points This is going to take a while Austin Rob What do you want a one two or three pointer I learned my lesson from the three pointer Oh you did
Yeah I did That time thing threw me way off. So let's go two. Let's dumb it down a little bit. You got it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Rob? Yeah? Metatarsals are... I said two. I said two. I know nothing about dinosaurs. Hang on a minute here. Metatarsals are more commonly known as what? Ashley's former roommate.
I'm going to say dinosaurs, Mike. I don't know. Oh, you are the worst. That is incorrect, Mike. I mean, come on. Metatarsal Rex? Very dangerous. He's a havin' boy, I believe. Yes, I think he was a havin' boy. Oh, my God. I don't know, Rob. Those are your little toesies are known as the metatarsals. Little toes. That's right. And then go to Harvard. Harvard. You've got to go to Havid. They're four centimeters long on Rav. The little metatarsal. They're tiny.
Sure, that's like double size. Sky, what are you thinking here? What are you going to do? Are you going to go with another two-pointer? Yes, I would like another two-pointer. Switch it up. Thank you very much. I would like to remind the world that we are just going in order. So before Boston Rob freaks out, when I ask this next question, I just want him to know. But this two-point question did not come to Rob. It came to Sky. Okay. Sky, what was the nickname of the mega project that rerouted a central highway through the city of Boston? You've got to be kidding me.
I was driving through it two days ago. Oh, no. How do I not get that? Sorry. Sorry. The way the cookies crumbled. Well, I believe I know this for one reason. because they did such shoddy construction there in Boston that it was falling apart and dropping and killing. They don't know what they're doing there, Skye. Oh, no. They build it, and then it just starts crumbling. Abarist. It's called the Big Dig. Yes. Should have been called the Big Turd based on how they made it. Yes, definitely Big Turd. That is correct.
The tunnels suck, but you know what? The top of it looks beautiful, all the packs and stuff. It's gorgeous. Yeah, all the packs. What did they do, Rob? They actually built a big, giant hole underneath the city of Boston? No, there's a bunch of holes underneath the city of Boston. There's all tunnels. They were just rerouting stuff and reconfiguring all the underground tunnels and moving some stuff from the above layer to the below layer. And from what I understand, this project took about two months to complete from beginning to end. Mike, it started in 91. Oh, in 91. 91? Yeah, in 1891. No, no, no.
In 91, they started it, and their estimated cost was like $2 billion. And then when I was back home, they said, now it's at 24 point something billion. It's not done? They're wrapping it up, dude. No, come on. There's a couple of, for the most part, it's finished. Just signing it up. You're telling me. They got to have a dunk of donuts. They're just mortaring a couple of holes left. You've got to be kidding me. Spackle. Yeah, just spackle. Some grouting and that's about it. Was it about traffic, Rob, to lessen traffic?
Yeah. Did it? It's awesome. Yeah, yeah. It's helped a lot. Now everything works real well? Yeah. Not real well. Not convincing. I mean, not convincing. It's 9% less, Mike. It's 9% less. 9% I see. It's a San Diego figure. Traffic down in San Diego, 9%. All right. Let's see. We go now to Ashley. Ashley, what do you want? Do you want a one or two or a three-point question? Come on. You could do this, Ash. Got your last one right.
Am I the only one on the board? Yes. Sky got the last one right. Did Sky? Yeah. So it's two to one. Two to one. Two to one. Give me two, please. Aw. She's so cute. A little voice. You can do it. You can do it. Here we go, Ash. Come on now. Ash, what's the cooking term used in that? Ash loves to cook. I'm getting better and better every day. Better every day, you guys. As a matter of fact, she said that over her break, she was doing a lot of cooking. So much. Yeah. I don't want to know. Well, Eddie, you don't want to know about the tuna cakes?
Delicious meal after delicious meal after delicious meal. Eddie, you don't want to know about her tuna cakes with whole wheat, fusilli, and sun-dried tomato and feta, and Margie's Green Beans. Margie. Margie's Green Beans. There you go. I guess Margie. I didn't know. I don't know. She also made... I've been calling her Margie all this time. I guess it's Margie. You're such a jerk. Are you kidding me? No, because my boyfriend's mom's name... Oh my God, Margie, I love you. ...is Margie, too. And I called her Margie, and then I was really embarrassed
because my boyfriend was like, my mom's name is Margie, so... This is the worst. I love him so much. Thank goodness for him, by the way. I mean, seriously. I'm kidding. Here is your question, Ash. Your two-point question is, what is the cooking term used to describe adding spirits to a pan and lighting it on fire? Wait. Spirits? Ghosts, right? It's called a seance, Mike. Why would you light a ghost on fire, man?
Yeah. It's kind of weird. It's weird. My armpits are soaking wet. Okay. All right. This is so scary. Why are you doing that with the hands? Don't do that. I was doing the Mary Catherine Gallagher. Sometimes when I get nervous, I put my arm. She's doing the superstar where she's doing her hands. Oh, don't put your fingers under there. Ashley. No, I'm smelling the fingers. Well, she's convinced that her body doesn't produce any odors. She says her pits do not smell. No, I smell fine.
Can you say the question one more time, Mike? Yeah, sure. No problem. What is the cooking term used to describe adding spirits to a pan and lighting it on fire? Ah. Think about it. I know this. You do. Oh, man. Her pits just farted out more of that sweat. That's gross. Oh, that's so gross. Disgusting. They do that with the, um, that Alaskan... Alaskan sea crab. A little bit.
Alaskan dessert that we get? I don't know. That we get? We. Alaskan parfait. Me and Cecilia. Margie. Me and Margie. Flaming bag. Margie. Flaming bag. Yes. There's flames. Are you nuts? Oh, the old flame back. Wasn't that going on down in Hillcrest? Oh, my.
Oh, wow. Those are the older ones. Ashley, it is not the flame back. It's the flambé. Okay, see. Is that like Green Bay? I think she deserves a point for that. Flambé Packers. Flambé. No, that is incorrect. Sorry about that, Ash. Still two to one, Skye. And we go to Boston Rob. Isn't that French? What do you think of here, B-Rob? Well, I learned my lesson from the two. This is tough.
What lesson did you learn? Mike, is there a half point then? So I'm going to go with the three. You got it. Let's do it up. Let's go big. Let's do this. Let me take the lead. Let's go big dig. Yeah, come on. Total big dig. There you go. All right. Rob, what kind of animal is a nanook in the Eskimo tongue? What is that? These are the best questions ever. Rob, what do the Eskimos call a nanook? Oh, the Eskimos.
There's only certain animals. I know how to do their kisses. Seth, come here. Seth, let's demonstrate. He's the one that taught me. I've been dying to do this. Oh, it's either Eskimo Kisses from my friend Zet. Is it a Eskimos? They live in the North Pole.
Come on, Rob. I think they had me an answer already. They live in the North Pole. They work for Santa. Yeah, they hang out with Santa. Yeah, they drive the sled, right? Uh, seals. No, Rob, it's not seals. Reindeer? Shut up. No, it's not reindeer. They work with reindeer. Uh, is it whales? It is not whales. Elves. It says it elves. Like, is it? It's a sleigh, right? Yeah, the dudes that live in the Keebla house, right? Yeah, they make delicious cookies.
No, Rob, it's the polar bear is known as the nanook. They call the polar bear a nanook. Yeah, I totally forgot about that animal and it living up there. That's right. Okay. All right. Sky, over to you. You're already on the board with two points. Would you like a three-pointer here and wrap the game up? End it. Check it back. End it with a three-pointer. Well, see, I knew that last three-pointer, but I don't want to gamble. I'm not a gambler. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. So I will take a two-pointer. We got it. That's the worst. You're the worst. You could have won. You could have won.
Sky, nicknamed Boy Wonder. Rick Johnson. Boy Wonder No, Boy Wonder Not Boy Blunder Not Boy Blunder Nicknamed Boy Wonder What superhero sidekick Was a trapeze artist By trade He was a homosexual Oh gosh Super gay
Did he give Eskimo kisses? So we wanted the name of the superhero that he was the sidekick for? I don't know how to explain, Eddie. Is that the answer we're going for? Is that the answer we're going for? It seems clear, but you know. Nick Ware. Ow! Ow! Ow! Oh, my gosh.
Don't do that again, please. Oh, aqua queer. I don't know. Nicknamed Boy Wonder. I'm confusing myself. What superhero's sidekick was a trapeze artist by trade? So easy. Is it Batman? No, Skye. But Robin's nickname wasn't Boy Wonder? Is that what you're trying to tell me? Do you hear the question? That's why I tried to clarify and no one would answer me.
Oh, you are the worst. Nobody would answer me. You all laughed at me like I was an idiot for trying to clarify. Skye, nickname Boy Wonder, what superhero sidekick was a trapeze artist by trade? So you want the sidekick's name? Sidekick's name. Okay, then just say that when I ask. I am so, I am sorry. Okay, then his name is Robin. You are correct. She already got it wrong. I did not. You said Batman. I said to you guys, I said, so you want the superhero's name? Your answer was Batman. I said, you want the superhero's name, and you all started laughing at me. And I said, okay.
Well, the answer is Robin. So, Eddie, that means she got it wrong, right? Correct. I got that wrong. I knew it was Robin. You did not get it right. You said Batman, and then you go, and Robin. Well, because you said, because I said, do you want. But then you said Spider. But then you said Spider. You guys jacked me. I hope you can all see. Thank you. Because I said, do you want the superheroes? I'm going to sleep uncomfortably tonight. Well, you should. Well, you had surgery. That's why. I forgot. That was so weak. We got to take a break because we're to the point. This is ridiculous. We have to take a time out.
Because you guys are cheating. The score is two to one. The score is two to one. I asked you. The question was clear. You laughed at me. You laughed at me. Everyone else didn't laugh at me. Everyone laughed at you. No one repeated a question for me. This is ridiculous. Quick time out. I told you it was Robin. We'll come back and try to wrap this sucker up. Going back to Hawaii. Back after this. It's Mikey. Hello, guys. I'm telling you, dude, I'm positive we're going to wrap this up. I don't know. I mean, I'd still just two to one. Sky feels cheated. Sky feels cheated on the last question. Well, I was. Well, I was. She was. Well, I was. Everybody says so. Who's everyone? All the people. Four people on e-mails. Now, wait a second. Hang on a minute. Now, wait a minute. Hang on. Hold up. Wait a minute. I am broadcasting from home, and we'll be doing that all week long. But what I'm getting from people is that it sounds good. You can't really tell that. It sounds great. It sounds like we're all together. And that's what we want. Now, we're doing something called the Dump Chick Challenge. It's the worst.
Well, the object is to get to five points. Sky dominates at this game. Sky, I don't know why you're complaining. You always win the Dump Chick Challenge, you know. Well, it's just frustrating, you know. What is frustrating? That you didn't understand the question? That I asked you for clarification. You didn't give it to me. I don't have the question. She yelled at me the answer, and then I answered, which was, you know, you all knew I had the right answer. Incorrect. You all knew I had the right answer. How did we know you had the right answer? Because I said Batman sidekick, which is Robin. No, you didn't say that. You said Batman. Because my question to you was, do I name the superhero? Am I crazy?
Yeah, I know. I don't know what to do. I don't know. Listen, but she's ahead. She is. I mean, she's complaining, but she's ahead right now. Because she's naming the game. We'd be close to wrapping this up if you guys weren't yours. You would never get a one-pointer. Shut up, Eddie. She has a hard time with the one-pointers. I mean, truth being said, in defense to Eddie, she does have a... Whatever, let's just move on. Back to the game. Feel good about yourself. Ashley, I know it. I know it. Ashley, what would you like to do? Would you like a one-point, a two-point, or a three-point question? Oh, no.
Eddie is giving her that look. What? That look says, well, actually, my camera is about five minutes delayed. And so I'm actually seeing the look that he gave her in 1987. Okay. Give me a three, please. Oh, my gosh. Ashley wants a three-point question. I'm a crazy person. She's a nut. Are you ready, Ashley? Yes.
Ash, what is the only state that consists of two entirely different peninsulas? Think about it. What is the only state that consists of two entirely different peninsulas? I wish I could see her. I can't see Ash. She's thinking. No. First thing that came to mind, it was north and south Dakota. but I know that's wrong. Oh, wow.
I know that that is wrong. Mike, define peninsula in your terms. What do you think it is, Mike? I'm going to say Florida. What does it mean to you? You're going to say Florida. Is that your final? I guess so. Ash, that's incorrect. That's incorrect. I know, California. What? You live in California. I don't know. I don't know peninsulas. I don't know.
I don't know. Geography is not my subject. Peninsula has eight legs, right? You find me in Australia mostly. Oh, no. Ashley, it's Michigan. Michigan's got those two little peninsulas that stick out into one of those Great Lakes. I don't know which one. Probably Lake Michigan. It looks like a hand. That's right. A ham. Come on. That's just an obvious way in the sky, and there's no reason for it. Please, Pam? Please. Boston Rob.
All right. I learned my lesson from the three-pointers. No more. Okay. No more. I want no more Eskimo questions. Uh-uh. All right. Give me a two. You got it. Rob, your two-point question is. Oh, jeez. There we go, yo. In which country would you find Mount Olympus? Oh. In which country would you find Mount Olympus? Greece. That is correct, Rob. He's good.
He's pretty good. That's his favorite place. And he loves Greece. Does he love Greece? He loves Greece. Oh, yeah, good. Right there. Yeah, look at my hair. All right, cool. What is the score now, then? Rob has two. Sky has two. Ashley has one. Yeah, but Eddie, that means that Sky could wrap it up. right now oh yeah very easy three-point question game over yeah hopefully she'll understand the question yeah and hopefully this time when i ask someone will clarify it oh like everybody else gets clarification sky come on you can do it i don't know mike oh come on you can do it with a
I just don't know anymore. I have to re-evaluate. You can wrap it up. I have to re-evaluate my whole life. This is the worst. Yes. I'm going to ask Ashley. Ashley, what do you think I should do, a three or a two? I don't know what peninsula is, Skye. Shut up, Mike. Leave her alone. Skye, I say three. I would like to freaking wrap this thing up. Thank you. Please. And I believe in you. Take a three-pointer for Ashley. You got it. Skye, your three-point question is. You got this. What is the longest and strongest bone in the human body? Wow.
Well, on my husband. Okay. Wow. I was going to say it's his arms. He's very muscular. What is your people's problem? You people. There we go. Human nix stand. Ha, ha, ha. Oh, that is awesome. Game over. Ooh, extra points. Is the spine considered a bone?
Oh, do we need to clarify that? Do we need to clarify? I know there's like cartilage and bone pieces and ribs and stuff. Come on. Ribs and stuff. Ribs and stuff. I'm a dry nose. Thank you very much. Not a doctor. I went to the University of Ribs and stuff. I don't know. I will say femur. That is correct, Sky. Wow. I'm trying to steal that Robin one from me.
No, look, it didn't work, Eddie. I mean, even in victory, Eddie, it backfired. He can't keep me down. He can't keep me down. He can't take it. Man is trying and he is lost. Congratulations, Bubba S. Sky has won for you. I'm exhausted. You are going to go to Comic Con. Yes. Very well done. Awesome. Very well done. Do we have to break? We got to take a break. All right, we do. But it's going to be a quick one. Yep.
And when we come back. Oh, man, I got a ton of stuff for you. First of all, I want to know what Mitt Romney had to say when he was on the Today Show. And, of course, he gets asked, what about being vice president? If John McCain asked you, what? What would you do? What would you say? His answer when we come back. The Mikey Show. Oh, yes! Still brake lights staying with you off the 78 pass via Rancho Parkway, Rancho Bernardo, and then again through Carmel Mountain Ranch.
The coaster ride, though, looking pretty outstanding in the south on the 5. How fast are you going right now? Really? That fast? So what's your hurry? Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race.
Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. after he started fighting with the officers who had just pulled him from the water. Craig Norman, how many times he blows the lead again, shoots seven over par in the final round to lose the British Open. Sky, I got to hear this story. What is the deal with this dude that they rescue and then they end up killing him? Well, we had talked before about how the Gay Pride Parade was this weekend in Hillcrest. And so there were a lot of, you know, fun stuff going on around town in correlation with that. You know, some officially, some not officially.
But I guess a bunch of people had rented, they had chartered a boat for, you know, a bunch of the people from the Gay Pride Parade to have a little cruise and hang out and have some fun. And about 11.50 on Saturday night, some dude went overboard on the party boat. And so the harbor police were called in. They found him. They fished him out of the water. When they pulled him out of the water, he knocked one of the officers to the deck, to the ground on the boat, and then took the officer's taser gun and began beating the officer in the face with the taser.
and then he started to reach for the downed officer's gun and that's the point where a second officer pulled his gun and shot the guy once in the chest and he ended up dying oh man you cannot go for an officer's gun or you are done yeah so it's really crazy I mean you know the harbor police are out there pulling this guy rescuing him out of the water and he starts fighting with him and then it turns fatal Wow, that is nuts. Our text number is
35253. Our phone number 570-1053. We would love to hear from you. So, yeah, give us a call. Let's see what else is going on. Michelle Wee. You guys know who Michelle Wee is? Inventor of the Wee? Isn't she a golfer? Yeah, she's the woman that invented the Wee game console. No, that was awesome. I thought she was a golfer. Wait, which one is it, Eddie? Yes, she did both. Yeah, she invented Tiger Woods 08. We golf.
Yeah. Wow, cool. No, she is a golfer. Yeah, she's real good. Yeah, she's so good she forgot to sign her scorecard and got disqualified. Okay. What does that all mean? Here's the deal. When you are a professional golfer, you have to not only keep an accurate score, But sign that scorecard, and it has to be accurate, and it has to be signed, and everything once your round is over. While Michelle Wee doesn't even sign her card and gets completely disqualified for not signing it. Why would she not do something that she does every single time?
You know, I'm really starting to wonder, because the deal with Michelle Wee is she's not real good. She should be real good, but she hasn't been real good at all. And, you know, it's really just been terrible. And I get this weird feeling that she is acting out. And, like, you know, I mean, her dad is one of those dads who, like, pushed her into being, you know, this kind of a golfer. And I'm starting to feel like, you know what, maybe she doesn't want to be a golfer. Because I don't really understand why you would ever not sign your scorecard. Like, that doesn't make any sense.
And it can't just be, like, an accident? No. Like, I can get messing up your score. That happens every once in a while. And you'll get docked or whatever. But not signing it at all, that's impossible. That's weird. For a professional golfer. You're supposed to be a pro, Michelle Wee. You sound like her dad, Mike. Hey, you guys, Facebook's getting a new look. The old FaceSpace that you get on the Cybernet. Yeah, blogging on the HTM. Yeah, when you get on the Cybernet and you get on the Google. and then you buff it up.
Yeah, you block the web, and then it buffers. What's going on with that face space? Well, they say that they're revamping it. They're giving it a new look that's going to help their members communicate with each other and help them share photos more easily. So they say they're expanding what they call the wall, and I guess that's the section where your personal profile is, and friends can leave comments and photos. So they say it'll be easier to add items to the wall. there you go I have no idea what that means face on your face face
your wall face that's right this should be fun we are now going to discuss and when I say we I mean all the members of the show and everybody in the listening audience we are going to discuss the best movie villain voices easy done Darth Vader i need clarification so we're talking just the voices how many times i want to make sure i get it right i want to get it right i mean because he said the best villain and then i started

cross any of you. I mean, what happened? So what are you proposing? It's simple. Kill the Batman. There you go. Pretty good. Now, what I have here is a list, and this list is not in any particular order, and so... Yeah, I got them all right. Charles Bader, Hannibal Lecter. Eddie, you are right about your first guest, cut 25. Obi-Wan never told you
what happened to your father. He told me enough. He told me you killed me. I am your father. Oh, wow, that's powerful. It doesn't matter who you are. That's good. That is good stuff. Eddie, what else did you say? Hannibal Lecter. You got that right. Cut 22. A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans. And a nice peanut.
Oh, wow. I heard Anthony Hopkins. That wasn't in any script or anything. He thought it would add a creepy... So on one of the takes, just one of the takes, Anthony... Anthony Hopkins decided to throw in the... And they kept it in. Oh, nice. Did you check for Jigsaw? Jigsaw Sky. Isn't that his name? Jigsaw Sky. Isn't that his name, the guy from the Saw movies? Isn't that the guy from KGB? No, Eddie, that's Chainsaw.
That's Chainsaw. Said that I should all black. Oh, I love it. Skateball Association. No, he is not on the list, not on the list. But you know who was on the list? Javier Bardin. Oh, really? Cut to 27. You know what date is on this coin? No. 1958. It's been traveling 22 years to get here, and now it's here. And it's either heads or tails, and you have to cycle it.
Look, I need to know what I stand to win. Everything? How's that? Just tend to win everything. Call it. That is one of my favorite voices. Yes, Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh. Yeah, he was creepy. No country for old men. He was good. Anybody, you got any other guys? Eddie, I think you said, I think you said this one. Go ahead. What about that little old lady from Poltergeist? Oh, that was great. She wasn't the villain.
She wasn't, but that was creepy. No, she brought the ghost there. I'm pretty sure. I don't think she brought that ghost there. Caroline. No, don't. It tells you things only a child can understand. My hands are sweating. It's another child. Oh, my God. Caroline. It tells you things only a child can understand. Oh, my God. Oh, that was weird. It's really weird that B-Rob would be creeped out
by someone of his own size. Oh, wow. Well, a little taller, a little taller. She's a little taller. Eddie actually said one of the other ones. And by the way, 570-1053, call us if you have guests. Guests. Guests. Guests. Yes, if you have guests, give us a call. If someone stayed the night last night, call us. Yeah, give us a call. Now, if you have a guest, give us a call. Eddie said one earlier. He said, Jack Torrance, it's Jack Nicholson in The Shining. Cut 23.
Here's Johnny. Of course. Come on, of course. Any other guesses? Oh, uh, The Little Girl and The Exorcist. Oh. No, not on the list. Oh, come on. Not on the list. It should be on the list because they won, that movie won an Academy Award for Best Sound based on that voice. Oh. but it's not on the list. In fact, I only have three more on this list, and they're all stupid, so I'm going to tell you what they are. What decade? Wicked Old? Wicked Old? One of them is Wicked Old.
Okay. Frankenstein, yeah. It was not Frankenstein. Blackula. Blackula? It is not Blackula. What about Bram Stoker's Dracula? No, that is not on there, but that should be on there. The other one, this is so stupid. Glenn Close as Alex Forrest in Fatal. It's just so stupid. Overrated. Totally overrated. Let's see what P1s are saying. Let's go to line four.
And is this P1 Leonidas? What's going on, guys? Welcome back. Thank you very much. Yeah, sweet beer wine. Yeah, hey, my guess is Tim Curry from the movie Legend. Never saw it. I don't know what he was. How dare you, Leonidas? How dare you? Awful. Worst guess ever. I think it's because I saw it this weekend and I forgot it was him, but he plays that big devil red dude. No, stop. What? Just stop. That's the goofiest answer I've ever heard, Leonidas. Worst guess ever.
Line six is P1, Leonard. Leonard. Leonard. Leonard. Oh, Leonard. Sorry, we got a re-retard over there. Ashley is screening again. Ashley is screening again. It's the truth. P1 Leonard. She puts up P1-Li-tard. P1 Leonard. Go ahead. Who is your guess? Worst villain voice? Fran Drescher. That doesn't...
In what, though? In everything. I don't know. Is Ashley screening phone calls? Yeah, she's missing the point. Let's go to line five. Do we have to? P1 Mike? Yeah. Best movie villain voice? Robert Englund, Freddy Krueger. That's a good one. Great call. Yeah, well, it's not, but it should be. This list is USA Today. It's USA Today. Mike, your list is horrible. My list is life. It is. Jason. It's the stupidest thing. And he's right. Freddy Krueger was great.
Does Jason even talk? No. Jason didn't talk. He was a mute. That was the whole podcast. Yeah, Mike Myers. Mike Myers. He didn't talk. He didn't talk. It's Michael Myers, by the way. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mike Myers. Oh, yeah, Mike Myers. Oh, yeah. Mikey Myers. No, I meant Austin Powers. Dr. Evil. So here was another one that they had on the list that's stupid. Hal 9000 in the movie 2001, A Space Odyssey, cut 24. Open the pod bay doors. I'm sorry, Dave.
I'm afraid I can't do that. Funny. That sounds like Hannibal Lecter. Yeah. Frightening. I'm sorry, Dave. Funny. But I can't do that right now. I'm eating a lemon with a nice candy. You guys want to know what the other stupid one was? Last stupid one. Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. Oh, that's a great one. Oh, that's kind of creepy. It's kind of creepy. I'll get you, my pretty and your little dog, too.
I'm not afraid. Let's take some of these calls. Matt, you coming home to that, though? Come on, that's kind of cool. Your wife would be one thing. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Some guys have got to deal with that. Line three is P1 Walter. I was going to guess Pennywise from It. I do not. First of all, that was a TV show. Oh, I don't. Is Ashley screening phone calls? She doesn't know. Line five. Oh, boy. P1 Brian.
Oh, boy. Thank you, sir. Robert De Niro on Cape Fear. Get me out, get me out wherever you are. Yeah, that is right. That is what it was. It is what it was. Counselor. Counselor. Counselor. I think Ashley's screening phone calls on line four. So let's see what line four says is the best villain voice ever. Missy, are you there? Yeah. Missy, tell me the best movie villain voice in your opinion. Well, my best villain voice ever, I think, would be Marvin the Martian.
Thank you very much. Ashley is screening phone calls. Please somebody help. Marvin the Martian. Look at her. What do you want? What do you want? She's so annoyed with us. My blood. Line six. I will kill you. Yes, that is the most menacing. Yeah, I'm scared. Are we on line six? P1 James. Good morning, guys. Hey.
Good morning, James. Hey, where are you? How are you, dude? Hey, big day. Welcome back. What's up, Rob? Thank you very much. Robert Picard as Eddie Quist from The Howling. What is this? Was that English? What did you just say? Robert Picard from the... Jean-Luc Picard from what? From the Howling. All right, finally a legitimate phone call on line two. Let's go to line two. And P1 Alex, are you there? I am. Yes, best villain voice ever. The Sky 2 voice.
That is... That's not funny. That is a wonderful dance. That is wonderful. Let's give him a prize. You know, a census taker once tested me once. Very similar. I took him to Outback and I got the New England clam chowder. That's a lie. That's a lie. All right. Thank you very much for the call. What else is happening? What else do we have going on in the world? I got a few directions that we could go. One thing I wanted to talk about that we never got to,
and this is before we went on break and I never got to this and I wanted to is how does anybody notice that Boston Rob has been wearing his wedding band. Thank you Mike. He's not married. Talk about it Mike. Oh so weird. Talk about it. He's not he's not married. What of it? Oh you're a dude. What of it? Don't act like it's normal. Don't act like it's normal. Nobody does that. does that. You're not supposed to do it. Hey, don't say that. Don't you put that upon me.
It's the truth. Don't put that on me. Why are you wearing it? Listen. I might have done it once. and want to show my friends what it looked like. But you can show it after you get married. I mean, doesn't every person kind of want to do that? But you don't because you're not married yet. I don't know. I've never been married before. I don't know. But here, listen. You don't married people. I do? Yes. And you guys don't understand. No, no, no. You guys don't understand. See, it's not like he brought the ring in and he said, hey, guys, check this out. I'm going to show you what the...
We just noticed. We were like, are you wearing your... Like, he was wearing it. We shamed him out. We shamed him out of it. He's not doing it anymore. No, you didn't. But he was doing it. I'll wait till you come back in and wear it again. But isn't that like a jinx though, Rob, or something? Hey, hey, don't put that on me. Don't put that on me. Don't put that on me. Well, I think that's fine. What's wrong with you? I would never put that on you. No, no, no. If it wasn't a jinx, then that wouldn't be a jinx to you. Ah, you shouldn't even say that word. That's a bad word to use. But isn't that a jinx to wear the ring? Hey, Mikey, don't put that evil on me. Don't put that evil out there.
Don't you adore that. You'll get your evil stickies off of me. Don't put that evil out there. Why don't you put a hex on me? I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. I mean, you couldn't, like, pull up a picture on the computer and show people? It's a one-of-a-kind. It's a one-of-a-kind. You want to, like, savor the moment of the wedding and then back to the symbol of life. It's made out of dinosaur bones. It's weird. It's never been one like it in the history of mankind. It's my precious. Oh, my precious. Did your fiancé have anything to...
You guys, I'm taking it back to Mordor. What do you want to be, all right? What do you want over here? Look, I disappear when I put it on. Well, that would be cool. I mean... Oh, I wish. That's awesome. So, your fiancé didn't have any problem with you? Oh, no. Yeah, she had a little bit of a problem. What? You're not even scared yet. I don't even know why she let me control the ring. Like, I shouldn't have that. You're supposed to be in control I'm not responsible This is sounding more and more like Gollum Every sentence that he says
Me second handed Oh my god You're the worst I'm an idiot We all live and we learn Can't we agree on that Then I won't do it again I'm sorry I still shouldn't be in control of that thing I got it at my house and it's tempting. Tempting for what? To put it on. The thing's sick. Okay. Well, you will eventually. I know. Yeah, you'll get to wear it for the rest of your life. Nah.
Nah. Yeah. Nah. Sounds good. Hey, Rob, how was Boston? It was absolutely great. Yeah, I challenge you to tell us how Boston was without using the word wicked. Oh, great challenge. He will fail. Thank you. Oh. He can't see. He didn't know what to say now. Hmm. It was wonderfully great. It was an auspicious occasion, Mike. Oh, no. I had an awesome time. It was actually, I took my fiance back there as kind of a birthday present for her. Really? Yeah, yeah.
I kind of surprised her on her birthday. Isn't she from Boston? Yeah, but she was like two when she moved. Oh, okay. So she was a kid. Yeah, her whole family lived there, you know. Has she not been back to Boston since she was a little kid? No, she took a trip with me last year. Remember? To Martha's Vineyard. Martha's Vineyard. Went wine tasting. Yeah, I am whipped and I love it. It's a good sound clip. How darling. So she's been back a couple of times, but this time she's never been down the Cape. Never been there with me, Mike, and that is it. So I took her to, I'm trying not to say wicked, so I'm very concentrated.
Took a beer tasting? No, I didn't. No, I did some nice stuff. I took her to Fenway for her first time. You didn't go beer tasting? Yeah. No, well, we were. Do you know more? Bean tasting. Yes. No, I took her to her first game at Fenway. And at this game... No way, Jose. She had never been to Fenway? She had never been to Fenway. So check this out. My first time at Fenway was not like this. I was like five, and it was kind of exciting. I don't remember nothing. I got mugged. She? It's the first inning, I think. Oh, boy.
We're going to have to go the whole nine. Hold on. Hold on. This is a great story. Who was pitching? Who was pitching? Wakefield's on the mound. Okay. Isn't he 145 years old already? Yes, he's not. You leave him alone. He pitched a great game. Retire already. The third bad is a lefty, and we're eight rows behind Pesky Pole. Eddie, don't you look bored on me. What's the heck is Pesky Pole? Dude, look at me, Sean, Eddie. We're all realized by how long the story is. It's five minutes old. Come on, what happened?
She almost gets nailed with a foul ball. Oh, no. It was awesome. The guy in front of us got nailed in the leg because the sun was shining, so you couldn't see nothing. So everyone's going, heads, and the ball came ricocheting off the wall and nailed this guy, welted him right in the leg. Then she sees back-to-back home runs, and then she watches Kevin Ucalis' first grand slam, all in her first game. Wow. What are you snoring for?
If we were in the city of Boston right now, I'm going to slap you in the back of the head and wake you up. Even Bostonians are bored with that story. Everybody loves that story. I couldn't tell it enough last week. How many Dunkin' Donuts coffees did you have? I averaged about two a day. He's still urinating Dunkin' Donuts coffee. They don't make them big enough. The smell is protruding through his skin. They really don't. The large is about, you know, 12, 14 inches tall, and it's just not big enough. It's like, no. No. Come on.
Stop it now. We stayed in a haunted little cottage, though. I got us a cottage right down in Hyannis. No way, Jose. Why did you stay in one of those? You did too, Eddie? No, I said you did in Texas. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. When I was at that stupid, what was that? Fredericksville or Berg or whatever. Whatever it was was haunted. The whole town was haunted. Oh, dude. I would never stay in one of those. No way, Jose. I don't want to stay in any place over 10 years old. Forget it. Oh, you would have not have been a fan of this place. Oh, yuck. And your place in Hawaii you stayed at, too.
I know it, man. That place was haunted, too. Yeah. So why do you think it was haunted? Oh, we know. We know it was haunted. Woke up in the middle of the night, there was a lady with an axe standing there. Yeah. So how do you know it was haunted? Well, it was built in 1840, but we got a feeling that it was from before then. How do you get a feeling? You get a feeling. Stuff comes to you. Watch Psychic Kids on A&E Network. You're a ridiculous person. 10 o'clock on Mondays tonight. Catch it.
It's so scary. So what year do you believe? I think Sean has about to fall asleep. 1664 is a fisherman's house. All right. Okay. Okay. And? You chuckle it up. Laugh a lot. Come on. What happened? Chuckle it up. I'll take you there. Tell me. You don't want to stay the night. That's scary. You don't want to stay the night. He's kind of a hothead. I'm not a hothead. Okay. What happened? You're a guy with a tackle box walking around. It's so scary. Yeah. You're a jerk. Yeah. The Morgan's Fisherman guy was walking around. I believe you, Rob. That's right.
Thank you. No, just stuff wouldn't go on. Oh, that's mackerel. He was finding tartar sauce everywhere. Oh, that's scary. That's right. If you go in the bathroom and you say fish and chips three times. In the mirror. In the mirror. In the mirror. The Gordon's Fisherman guy shows up. Yeah, and then you die a day later. You guys are jerks. That is not... Just stuff happened. Anything weird happened? Give me one thing. No. One thing. Name one thing.
Nothing. We're begging you. I don't want to say. That means it was lame. It wasn't lame. Whatever it was, it was really dumb. Listen. When the sun set... Shut up. No. I'm listening. You listen. You listen. Tell me. It got darker. Yeah. Can you believe it? Let me... Let me set the scene. Oh, God. Set the scene. Now, it's a little cottage behind a house. So it's deep in the woods of Hyannis, right down the street from Ted Kennedy. And when the sun sets, it's silent back there.
You can't hear nothing. We're off the main street. Silent but deadly. And it is pitch black. Are you going to make jokes the whole time? Come on. And what happened? Do we have any scary music that we could play? What happened? You're sitting behind the board. I don't know. What does this say? Austin Powers. Okay, here we go. Yeah. How's that? So we're in Romania. Go ahead, Ryan. We're in a castle.
Yeah. So we'd be watching TV at night. We'd just turn the TV on. We'd sit down, and the TV would just shut off. You turn it back on. He's lying. I swear to God, I swear to God, do you hear the music? Why would I lie over this bed? So you're telling me that you guys were watching TV and the TV would turn itself off. All by itself, just shut itself off. Happened to me one time, Eddie explained it. Somebody in the same place has the same remote control. There is nobody. It's me and Sarissa. Nobody else.
Nobody. So there's not like somebody next door? Nobody, man. And the TV turned off. There are not other cottages in that place. Down the street, we stayed right next to them. Come on, dude. Oh, you are upsetting me. I'm about to flip a lid over here. I'm all in on this story. What else happened? Anything else strange? So. One night, Saris' head flew off. Levitated, levitated, did a backflip, then came back on ahead. And these nights that the TV would shut off, even when we tried turning it back on, it shut off again.
It'd be about midnight, and then from the kitchen area in the bedroom, flashes of light would come out. And there are no lights in the woods. And I'm talking about, it looked like a camera went off, but a split second, not like a... It was probably Brad. It was probably P.1 Paparazzi. Oh, that's creepy. That is real creepy. We're probably out there taking pictures of you guys and you didn't even realize it. That's a great point. I'm telling you, man, she couldn't sleep the whole week. Like, there was no comfortable sleep. You guys stayed there? You guys stayed there the whole week like that? Monday till Friday.
Friday morning. Are you nuts? Well, the TV was a Stanasonic. So, I mean, it wasn't. See? See? It's Stanasonic. I'm telling you, these places are so old. Stop throwing stuff. These places are so... It was built in 1840, but I'm telling you, where we stayed, man, that's a historic, historic area. Yeah. I mean, it was crazy. Well, now I'm kind of believing it. Maybe some weird stuff really was going on. I'll show you some of the pictures of the inside of the car. Pitches. Yeah, I got some pictures. Pitches.
Pitches. All right, we have to take a quick timeout. And when we come back, the YouTube clip of the day. Yes! Oh, yeah! Play it! We will play the YouTube clip of the day after this. Featuring Mikey. I'm 36 years old. I have a sensitivity to sugar. I'm dumb, I can't be a doctor You are a doctor Just because I like to be sensitive Of other people's feelings But it doesn't do any good Sean I'm very fair when it comes to tipping Boston Rob Everybody enjoys a good thumbs up once in a while That's right And Ashley I'm really bad at describing things On Rock 105.3 Hey, welcome back It's Mikey Shade
It is 927. Over 150,000 people attended the San Diego Pride Parade over the weekend in Hillcrest. Milwaukee still making trades. They trade for the giant second baseman, Ray Durham. Hey, welcome back to the show. I said when we came back, I wanted to do the YouTube clip of the day, so let's do this, sucker. Come on. Let's do this, sucker. Let's see. Who is running the board?
Zeth? Yep. Do you know where that little YouTube clip of the day thing is? Now it's time for the YouTube clip of the day. Today should be a pretty good one. It is the world's worst sportscast. Are you ready for this? Okay. Yes. Cut 65. Hello, everyone. Well, the Ball State softball team continued to play this weekend, And they were hoping to continue off of their straight three out of four losses. And so we'll take a look and see how that happened. They started off good, but then eventually the Ball State women's team shut down and ended up doing poorly.
Uh-oh. Oh, no. We're going to continue on now. Switching to Ball State men's tennis, it seems every week they have a player... Oh, gosh. Is this Rob? Oh, hi. He spills stuff on his iMac. The Nets won the last Sunday's matchup, 94-85, which left the Pacers one game behind the Chicago in the seventh series spot. Let's check out the highlights. Oh, God. Oh. It's nice.
Steven Jackson's David. Oh. What the heck is going on? Reggie Miller's looking good. No. And it's good. Oh, yay. Oh, good. Later, he gets the rebound, passes it to the man, shoots it, and boom goes the dynamite. Come on. How dare you? Sean, save, boom goes the dynamite. Okay, great. Thanks a lot for that look in the sports, Brian. Oh, wow.
That was unbelievable. That's so good. And boom goes the dynamite. Passes it to the man. Oh, my gosh. And boom goes the dynamite. That was unreal. Wow. And enjoy. Oh, no. While back, I told you. And boom goes the dynamite. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much. At least you got it in. I got it. Really wanted to wait. Like, he couldn't wait. When he wrote that, man, he was like.
Yes. Yes. In his head, boom goes the dynamite was a surefire. I'm on ESPN as soon as I get this tape to them. As soon as they see me saying, boom goes the dynamite. Hello. And boom goes the dynamite. Thank you. And boom goes the dynamite. Terrible. So awesome. So I told you that I was going to play you Mitt Romney on the Today Show. Well, they're asking him, would you consider being John McCain's running mate? Cut 19.
Do these polls, Governor, on the economy lead us down the road where John McCain needs to reach out for a running mate to someone with a very strong business background? Perhaps someone who's been the CEO of a successful private equity firm or who has shown that he can turn troubled enterprises around like, for example, a city's economic, I mean, Olympic effort. You know where I'm going. Do I have to keep going down this road? No, but you're very kind to do so. Can I just recite your resume here? Have you had open and frank discussions with Senator McCain about the possibility of being his running mate? No, I sure have. I'm not going to get into the process that he's going through.
That should have been his campaign. The American people vote for the president. The vice president is an add-on, but I really think people are going to focus on Senator McCain. His vision for our economy, his vision for foreign policy, his years of experience as opposed to somebody at Barack Obama, well-spoken, but extraordinarily naive, particularly as it comes to both. Governor Romney, of course, we post your entire resume on our website at todayshow.com. Governor Mitt Romney, Governor, nice to see you. Thanks for joining us. Do you have any hair gel, Matt? Well, I guess he's not going to answer.
Let's see. Did you guys know that while we were on break, Zethi and Oates dropped his cell phone in the toilet? Yeah, I did. While going in the toilet. No, no, kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's true. Eddie's got a look on his face right now like that. Come on. That doesn't surprise me, really. It's Zeph. Sorry. He's got bad luck. Zeth, why, Zeth, why use the, you know, why text while you're going to the restroom? Why?
Never had any problems before. Well, I mean, you should be doing one thing at that time. You got to multitask. You can't multitask. No, you can't multitask, are you? All right, fine. I'm stupid. Is that what you guys want to hear? No, it's not. I mean, we already know that. Yeah, we don't know. I mean, that's obvious. Call Dan Rather. Dan Rather, by the way. So what did you do? What did he say? Call Dan Rather. I mean, Dan Rather hasn't been on television for 19 years. Come on, I mean. Dan Rather.
Hey, why don't you call Frank Reynolds while you're at it? Get Walter Cronkite on this. Exactly. So, does Zeph have a birthday coming up? I don't think it's Zeph, but I know that we have a present for Zephian Oates. And the president has actually come from P1 Space Boy and a few of the P1s. Is that right, Eddie? I don't know. We'll have to wait and see. He's got a box there. He's got a box sitting there? Yeah, it doesn't say who it's from. It's from them, so it's fine.
I thought it was like a rabid badger or something like that. That would be awesome. I figured it was from them, but maybe I'm wrong. Why don't you open up your gift, Seth, and let's see what it is and who it's from. And boo. and goes the dynamite. There it is. Don't be in church. Is it ticking? No. It's everything. I don't know. The writing is all in Arabic. I don't know if that should be any of you. That's a bad thing. That can't be a good sign. What is it? Disposable camera.
A disposable camera. A really long letter. Maybe the disposable camera. I can tell you what it's signed. What? What is it signed? Yours truly, Dr. Wayne. Oh, wait, Dr. Wayne? How about that, Dr. Wayne? Why would there be a camera? Dr. Wayne sent you a present? What does his letter say? Yeah, it says, Zeth, it's your old pal here, Dr. Wayne. Oh, no. I was in a local electronics store the other day picking up the latest Grand Theft Auto game for my PS3. And, you know, for some reason, you popped into my head. Oh, wow.
I was walking down one of the aisles, and gosh, you know, I thought I'd get you a little gift. It's just a small token, and I can only hope you think of me each morning when you put them on to begin your day. Oh, okay. I hope it's not underwear. Oh, and I also included a disposable camera. How sweet is that? What's the camera for? I've always wanted to see into the life of a local celebrity, so feel free to snap pictures of your daily activity. You know, washing your car, working out, swimming, sleeping. How do you take pictures of yourself sleeping?
I don't know. Timer? I can come by the station sometime to pick up the camera when you're done. Oh, that's weird. I've got to get back to change the oil in my car after I'm done making love to my wife. So I've got to run. Take it easy, big guy. Yours truly, Dr. Wayne. Okay. So what else is in there with the camera? There's another thing wrapped in something else. I'll open it. This is so weird. What the heck? Why are you happy right now? You got a gift. Because I don't know what it is, and it's kind of creeping me out. All right?
We're being honest. Oh, wow. How about that? Headphones. What is it? Oh, yeah. You got a set of headphones, finally. That's really nice of him. From Dr. Wayne. You know what? That guy's really a good guy. You know, I might actually use the camera now. That's really nice of him. Yeah, you should like thank him on the air or something. Thank you, Dr. Wayne. You've creeped me out in the past. Hey, I didn't know that. Well, I'm just, in the past.
In the past, it's in the past. In the future, I will try to be nicer to you and take pictures with your camera. Oh, really? That's nice. Do some Eskimo kisses right into that mic. No. Well, wouldn't that be weird to do Eskimo kisses? I mean, why would he do Eskimo kisses to a straight guy? Well, that's a good point. I guess it's up to Dr. Wayne if he wants to accept him or not. I guess that would be... It's true. Well, it's a heterosexual Eskimo kiss. Oh, that's funny.
There's a woman I'm sexually attracted to. There you go. You know those guys. Well, in that case... Yeah. Didn't know. You ever seen a grown man naked? Apparently. Apparently. You guys want to play hopscotch or leapfrog or whatever you guys want to do in a heterosexual life. Hopscotch or leapfrog. Either one. You guys take your pick. I pass. Yeah, that was sweet. So, this is a scene from the biggest movie in the world right now. The biggest movie in the world right now is The Dark Knight.
And it made how much over the weekend, Sky? It made $155 million in its opening weekend. And so that now sets the record for the biggest opening weekend, dethroning Spider-Man 3. Cut 61. This town deserves a better class of crime. And I'm going to give it to them. Tell your men they work for me now. This is my city. You're all part of it. What is it? Why don't we cut you up into little pieces and feed you to your poochers?
And then we'll see how loyal a hungry dog really is. It's not about money. It's about sending the message. That sounds good to me. Is Batman even in this movie? Barely. Why don't they just call it the Joker? Right. Seriously, guys, because Ashley and Skye, you guys saw it. Is it mostly the Joker? See, I don't think so at all. I think that the Joker just stands out. And partially, maybe it's because Heath Ledger passed away, but in my opinion, it's because his performance is so stellar. Like, I think he killed it.
I'd say it's 50-50. I think that they're, like, co-stars of the movie. I agree. You know what I mean? I agree. But the cool thing about the Joker this time around is you, like, you get, I don't know, you kind of get more of a vibe where his dementia comes from, where his weirdness, you know, comes from, and that he was tortured, and the whole explanation of his Joker face thing is really creepy. I want to see it. What the heck? I wonder who this could be. Hello? Hey, guys, it's Dr. Wayne coming in.
Hey, Dr. Wayne. We can barely hear you. Hey, guys, it's Dr. Wayne coming in. I can hear you much better. Now it's better, Dr. Wayne. It's so weird. Hey, how are you guys hearing me now? Oh, like an echo? Yeah, there's like an echo. Are you at the Grand Canyon? A new phone? He's at the Grand Canyon. Oh, the Grand Canyon. Yeah, guys, calling you from my bathroom, actually. There we go. Got you all locked and loaded here, Dr. Wayne. Yeah, well, anyway, glad technology's working out. Yeah, it's pretty good.
All right, guys, got to go. Wait, no, no, no. I just was calling to say hello to Zeth there. I think Zeth has something to say to you, Dr. Wayne. Thank you for the headphones and the camera. Is that it? Yes. I mean, that's all you're just going to say thank you? Yeah, I mean, what am I supposed to say? Well, maybe take the guy to lunch or something. I got out of the jacuzzi for this. Not the jacuzzi, yeah. Why were you in a jacuzzi at 9 o'clock in the morning? Well, our hot water hasn't been working, so I've had to bathe in there. Ew! Oh, my God. Dude!
Oh, it's okay. I've got a Loatian kid that came over here and showed me how to get the hot water working out there. Sky, seriously. We boiled it on the soap shop and poured it in there. I mean, that's confirmation, right? Yeah, I mean, that doesn't sound good. Okay. Dr. Wayne. What's going on? You're being really weird. Yeah, you are. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the camera there, Seth. And, yeah, just feel free to take pictures of anything that happens. What does that mean? What exactly do you want with these pictures?
It just means that I don't know what happens in the life of a celebrity, and I'd like to see what happens in the daily life of a celebrity. So just let nature take its course. Oh, Ashley loves to post her pictures. Maybe you can take a bunch of pictures of her. No, I meant, well, you know what? Since so many people want to take pictures with that camera, why don't I just put a bunch of names in the house? No, don't. We know what happens when you do that. Every time with this. Oh, look at this. It says Ashley this time when I pulled the name out of it. Yeah, right.
Oh, well done. Oh, wait a minute. This has totally been rigged. Every name in here says Ashley. I'd better put a whole group of new names in here just to make it fair. I'm sure. And look at that. I pulled Zep's name out. This is garbage. Anyway, I'll accept a nice, firm man shake and a heterosexual hug from Zep. What the heck? As soon as I see him. Anyway, thanks a lot, Zep, and, you know, feel free to, if you run out of camera space, Get another one, and I'll reimburse you.
All right, I'll make sure to be in touch. Wow, I don't like this anymore. Bye, Dr. Wayne. That was Dr. Wayne. Yes. Yeah, that was weird, Mike. That was Dr. Wayne. Did you hear all that weird stuff he was saying? Yeah, it was really strange, guys. I had to go change the dressing on my stitches. And so it's nice to be back. No good. That's the timing, wow. That's really amazing timing. Yeah, it really is.
That's really great timing. Really amazing timing. Yep, yep, yep. Steven Adler has been arrested. I don't think that's a surprise for a lot of people, but he has been arrested. For what, Skye? He was arrested early Friday morning in Hollywood. It was about 4 o'clock in the morning, and officers were called out to a house where a man was reportedly creating a disturbance. And so they were called out and found Steven Adler and arrested him and charged him with possession of narcotics and being under the influence. He was on, wasn't he on Celebrity Rehab or he's going to be on it?
He was recently in the second season of Celebrity Rehab and then also signed on to appear in a follow-up program called Sober Living. Yeah, he is in need of some serious help. We met Steven. He came in the studio twice. That was bad. And both times was pretty under the influence. Oh, yeah. This is Slash talking about him. Cut 66. Steven is the epitome of, like, the rock and roll teenager. He's, like, you know, the most naive and most innocent of the bunch of us because he was just like, I just want to play drums now.
That's all he really, really wanted to do. The more complicated it got, the more he couldn't handle it. I mean, we met him. He was, that's what made it so sad. He was such a sweet, you almost want to say kid. And when we met him, he seemed like a sweet kid. He was 39 years old when we met him, but he seemed like a sweet guy. Just got, you know, you can't get it under control. Let's see. There's going to be a Jimi Hendrix performance that's going to be on an upcoming guitar hero and was it done locally sky back in the day yeah um so the new guitar hero is going to be called guitar hero world tour and it'll come out in october and there's going to be two hendrix
tunes on there one is going to be the wind cries mary and the other is going to be a live version of purple haze that was recorded at the san diego sports arena back in 1969 so that's gonna be very cool trip yeah they used to do a lot of rock bands used to do a lot of recordings at uh the sports arena kiss did a double album at the sports arena really yeah man when i was growing up i grew up in yuma when i was real little um and then we moved to gilroy when i was 12 but before we moved when i lived in yuma man kiss was the biggest thing in the world
and everybody in Yuma had to travel to San Diego to go see concerts. And I'm telling you, man, when I was a kid, that was like a magical place, San Diego in the sports arena. Really? Oh, yeah, man. It was like considered the biggest, coolest, like only a few people have ever got to journey there. Ever. And then when those live albums were coming out by rock bands that recorded at the sports arena, it only added to, like, the mystique and the coolness and all of that stuff of the sports arena. But I still say dynamite that sucker.
Level it to the ground and build a new one. And boom goes the dynamite. Yeah, boom goes the dynamite. And that thing is 150,000 years old. I would love to see a world-class arena put in in San Diego. And a stadium. Yeah, man. Yeah, that first, actually. Thank you. We should do that first. Yes. Brittany and Kay Fed have settled out of court. Really? Yeah, this was very interesting. This was breaking news because, you know, I mean, they've been going through court stuff over the custody of their kids forever now.
And so, you know, they were... I'm ready now. The judge was trying to sort everything out, and I guess somebody decided, you know, probably on Brittany's side, that, you know what, instead of letting, going through this, dragging everything out, getting all these details out in the public, let's just settle out of court and figure it out. So, what they decided is that KFED will retain sole physical custody of the boys. Wow. Yeah. That's crazy. I know. Holy cow. Yeah, and Brittany has agreed to up the child support to $20,000 a month. It previously was $15,000 a month, but now it will be $20,000 a month for the two boys.
But she does get a little more visitation. She gets to see the kids three times a week, and two of those times are overnight visits. And then I guess they're just going to keep going like this, and then when Brittany's people feel maybe she's strong enough or healthy enough If we're together enough to fight it out again, they'll try and go through this again. But, yeah, they came to an out-of-court agreement on Friday. And boom goes the dynamite. That's true. Think about that. Quick timeout. And when we come back, I got even more cool stuff for you. When we come back, let's talk about this traffic in San Diego.
It's the front page of the Union Tribune today. Call us if you want to, 570-1053, and text us, too. Love to see your texts. 35253 is the text number. Back after this to Mikey Show. Subway, eat fresh. Welcome back. It's 10 o'clock. It's K-I-O-Z, San Diego. And we say hit. Yeah, hit it. And we are sometimes, you know, taking a point where we just have to say K-I-O-Z, San Diego. Sean, hit it. And we'll go, you know, hit it. And we say, yeah, you know, it's K-I-O-Z, San Diego. And boom goes the dynamite. No, that's not what we were looking for. Hit it. It's not the new one. That is not the new one. That is not, definitely not what we were thinking of when we said
KIOZ San Diego. I'm thinking of something. I like that, but that's not what we're talking about either, though. I swear I'm looking everywhere. You're not looking everywhere. You're not looking everywhere for anything. I am. Yeah? Sweet bearer wine! You know that's not it. Oh, but that is a good one. But the second half where he goes to him. No, no. Sean. Sean. The thing that rhymes with Riaz. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Oh, right, right. No way, Jose. That's definitely it. That doesn't rhyme with anything. It does. Did you know that Tim and Eric are going to be in San Diego this weekend? The Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job. That's crazy. What? It's a live performance, The Embarcadero, this weekend. Oh. And it makes me wonder, Will John C. Reilly be there, too? Will all of those, you know, who will be there? Well, he'll probably be in town because he's got a movie coming out. Step Brothers. There's going to be a lot of stars and nerds in town this weekend. Peanut Noir.
I like it. That's right. It's a weekend of stars and nerds. I want to go. Yeah, Embarcadero is where the Tim and Eric Awesome show Great Job stuff is going to be. And then, of course, you have Comic Con in town this weekend. Can you imagine? I've never done it. I know. I don't know that you'd like it. You've done it, right? Oh, yeah. I want to go again, I think. It's a lot to take in. And it's kind of changed, you know?
I mean, it's not really just, like, comic nerd stuff anymore. Now, like, every movie studio brings out all their big stars. It doesn't matter what movie you have now. They'll bring their stars out to Comic-Con and promote it. So, but doesn't it have to be like some kind of science fiction? Nope. Not at all. Really? Not at all. It could be like a romantic comedy? There'll be stuff for stepbrothers out there. What? There'll be stuff for every movie that's coming out and any big summer movie that's coming out. And doesn't that defeat the purpose? No.
Yeah, I thought it was all about, you know. I mean, the big panels are like the comic book movies, the X-Files movies, those kind of movies. You know, those are the huge ones, but they just want promotion now. So, like, they'll bring anybody out that has a summer movie. Skye, I'm surprised that this is not more your thing. For real. Because I know you're into, like, Lost. And you're into, you even really like the movies that are, like, comic movies. Yeah, I definitely enjoy consuming those things. But, I mean. You wouldn't want to see all that stuff out there?
Well, see what? Like, you see the celebrities. I mean, I can see them on the internet. I have to hang out with the lower class of people. Well, that's not all makes sense. No, but the crowds are crazy. Parking is crazy. Not really. No, let's talk about this. I don't want any of that. You wouldn't want a hot dog shape like the Enterprise? But I think it would be cool this weekend to hang out someplace like the Hard Rock Hotel. I bet you're going to see a lot of celebs there.
That's whenever big celebs come to town. That's always where they're at. Yeah, and Eddie, you were saying, you could take, it's not that tough, you can make it very convenient. Take the trolley. Yeah. From Escondido. No, well. I mean, what do you want from me? You take the coaster from the Dito, and then take the coaster into San Diego. No, I would have to take the sprinter from the Dito to the coaster, take the coaster down the coast. coast to the trolley and then take that back. Just take the copter. Sounds like funny. Yeah, have Ramsey
fire up the copter. The HK. Never mind. Yeah, the honky conk, too. The HK, too. Don't you want to see the Dharma initiative out there and find the crazy stuff? See, I thought she'd be into that, too. She is. She just doesn't know what it is. No, I'd like, I would be into it if I, you know, who could park. Didn't have to leave the house? If I didn't have to leave the house, if I could park right up front, if there weren't crowds of people, if I didn't have to wait in line. Basically, if I could get special
treatment. No, I don't want special treatment. I just want the whole place to myself. If I could roll VIP. I can relate to that. I'm not a fan of crowds. No, me neither. So, Skye, what was the box office? What did it look like this weekend? I mean, we know it was going to be number one, obviously. Right. But are you guys shocked that it did as well as it did? I kind of am. Really? Well, I mean, you know, I knew it was going to be a big movie. But all the predictions I read prior to were that it was going to be, like, third in line behind, like, Indiana Jones. Right.
And a couple other of the movies were supposed to be way bigger. The only reason that I started thinking that it was going to be gigantoid is a couple of days before it came out, I started hearing people saying that they were going to be there at midnight and all that stuff. And I was also hearing from a couple of people that they were trying to buy tickets on that, you know, Fandingo or whatever it is. Fandingo! And tickets were tough. Like, it was sold out for the midnight showings and all that stuff. And I was like, wow, maybe this is pretty gigantic. That's crazy to me.
Yeah. I genuinely think, like, Heath Ledger passing away has a lot to do with it. Here we go. Oh, definitely. Here we go. Definitely. Right? People are just, like, they're just, I think, intrigued. You're so gruesome. Just to see, like, his last performance. I said it, guys. That's so disrespectful. I said it. All right. So, number five at the box office this weekend. You don't want number five? I don't care. Number five was Hellboy 2, The Golden Army, making the title. It's a great movie. Wait. You saw that? And you haven't seen...
I mean, are you kidding me? Mike, he hasn't seen Batman. He never saw Iron Man. He didn't. The guy has seen Wall-E and Hellboy 2. It was cute. You're so weird. You're aqua queer. It was cute. Number four. Stop being so aqua queer. Thank you. Number four this weekend was Journey to the Center of the Earth. Oh, that was good, too. You did not see it.
I guarantee it. I saw it in 3D. You're a jerk. What is wrong with me? You're a jerk. You are. Over you. Oh, my gosh. I'm over you in 3D. Did you see the Hulk? I plan on it. You're nuts. Wow. That's horrible. That is not horrible. You've got to screw with me. You're done. That movie's old now. Why would I go now? Journey to the Center of the Earth was new. You're nuts. I don't like you anymore. I don't like you anymore. You got a screw. I don't like you. Your 3D sucks. Okay.
By the way, let's take line three. Line three is P1 Leonidas. Are you there, Leonidas? Yes, I am. So what did you, tell this to Sky, because I think this might get her to Comic-Con. Okay, well, I've been going the last four years, and you go for the spectacle. But what I've found is that every movie industry and television show, they're out there. They're pushing everything. And this year, they have the schedule for 24, and Kiefer Sutherland's going to be there, and they're going to show the first episode to the next season unedited. Come on, Scott.
But, like, okay, okay, talk to me about this. How many people actually get to watch this episode? Like, do you have to wait all in line all day to get into a room? No, well, there is a room. There's different halls. They got Hall H, which holds about 6,500 people, and they're going to have it in that hall. And what they're going to do is you just line up, you get in, They bring out the director, the writer. They talk about the upcoming season, what you expect. I don't want to wait in line and then maybe wait in line for hours and hours and then not get in. I don't wait in line anymore. I'm a celebrity.
Shut up. No. If there are any P1s that will carry me in, then yes. No, I don't want to be carried in. I don't want to waste four hours standing in a line, you know? If there are any P1s that are willing to fan me while I'm waiting, then perhaps. Maybe I'll do it. I mean, I'd love to see that episode. I'm just too lazy. I'm sorry. If anyone's willing to feed me grapes, then perhaps. Shut up. Anyway.
Well, ham grapes would be an ideal situation. Hey, we're still doing the box office totals. That ham's good. All right, so what came in at number four? Well, we just did that. Sean's favorite, Journey to the Center of the Earth. Got it. Number three, Hancock making $14 million. Hancock? Skye, that's just a place. Are you really that hungry? Number two. It was a pretty good movie, too. He saw that one as well, didn't he? Number two, Mamma Mia making $27.6 million. That was just
Hillcrest that made up that. Made up that new receipts. Unbelievable. And then as we've been reporting all morning the dark night was the number one movie bringing in over 155 million dollars this weekend guys want to hear another clip from the dark night yeah we got some clips let's hear uh bruce wayne tell rachel that gotham needs a hero with a face cut 60 you know that day that you once told me about gotham would no longer need batman it's coming you can't ask me to wait for that it's happening now harvey is that hero he locked up half of the
city's criminals and he did it without wearing a mask gotham needs a hero with a face has there ever been a a superhero in the movies that's this creepy and dark like i can't think of another one I'm trying to. I don't know that I could think of another one that was this, like, kind of had that angle of scary, kind of creepy, dark kind of thing to it. I don't know that there is. The Wonder Twins?
Okay. What about The Punisher? Yeah, The Punisher. Isn't that somebody who's, like, dark and, I don't know. What about The Punisher? He was real dark. I don't know. Did you see the movie? I don't know. Have they made the film about the Green Lantern yet? He was dark. He was very dark. What about Blade? He was real dark. Extremely dark. Just my type. Does anybody know why Katie Holmes didn't do Dark Knight? I don't know, but the director of the movie, Chris Nolan,
I just read an article in Newsweek, and he seems kind of bitter about it. Really? Of course, I have my own theories on why she didn't do it. I did too. I do too, I do too. Yeah, Tom Cruise said she can't. Keep her locked in the dungeon. Tom wouldn't let her. Is that right? Tom wouldn't let her, right? No, that's my theory. That's our theory. That's my theory too, for sure. But, I mean, that was a huge movie. Like, what actress would pass? Well, he was irritated. Really? Yeah, because they asked him about it, and he said, I don't know, I guess you'll have to ask Katie about it, but I offered her the role, and she didn't want to take it. No way!
Yeah. Yeah, I know she turned it down. Yeah, he was real super... She turned it down? Yeah. But I don't know why. What an idiot. Oh, she is whack. Idiot. Let's see. What have I not mentioned? What have you got in your mouth? I didn't see it, but that last Bachelor dude, Matt Grant, he picked this chick named Shane. Yep. Yeah. It's my good friend Lorenzo Lamas' daughter. Is it really? It's Lowe's daughter? Yeah, it's Lowe's daughter. No way. You're a co-star?
You're not good friends. Well, I'm her godfather. No, you're not. I didn't know that. I didn't know that. I know that you guys actually met. I mean, how old would you have had to have been when she was born? Well, this was back in the day, you know. So you were like 10 years old when she was born. 1990. We've been BFs for a long time, you know. Since you were in diapers. Pre-year career in movies. Right. Well, Eddie, your goddaughter, Shane, and Matt. Let me guess. They broke up. Have broken up.
Dude, the worst. If you would have watched this season, dude, you would have been so angry at this choice. Well, first of all, she's 22. He's in his 30s. And complete opposites. He's like a dry British kind of, you know, guy. And she's like this, she's an actress, first of all. And when you're an actress on The Bachelor, what are you there for? Duh. One thing. You know, and so when he chose her, my wife and I were like, huh? like the last person
in the entire show I thought he would choose and she ended up winning the whole thing and like duh they broke up did you see that Rose did you see that and how Shane and her they were denying those rumors though that she got picked to promote her acting career and that he picked her to get his green card they even brought that up who even said that Chris Harrison He said there's a lot of rumors going around about Al. They so casually denied it
and they were so awkward. Yeah, well, it's probably not a surprise to anybody then that Shane was the one who broke up with Matt because she had already found another dude even though he had moved from London to L.A. I'll give a little call and I'll find out the scoop, guys. And I'll let you know what's up. We'll figure it out. And you can probably go eat at Spago or something. I don't know. Sounds delicious. You're eating at steak these days, dude. That's the place. They're eating at, what is it?
STK. STK. I think people call it steak. It's like the place now that all the actors and actresses have to go to. This guy doesn't even know what she's talking about. No, Spago. Sorry, guys. Spago. Eddie's going to go to the hot spot from the 80s. Yeah, it's not hot anymore. I heard that there's also some place in Hollywood that's real hot right now. that's like some ice cream or yogurt place that's like every celebrity. What is it? Yeah, Bogart Yogurt. Pink Berry. No, it is not Bogart Yogurt. Oh, Cold Stone. Cold Stone. No, no, no, that is it.
It's Pink Berry. Baskin-Robbins. It's Pink Berry. Skye, what's the story with that place? Oh, it's like supposed to be awesome. They put all these... Seth, you've been there, right? Yeah, it's like frozen yogurt and they put like a bunch of like fresh berries in it and stuff. Ooh, fancy. But the yogurt is like, it's kind of a little bit sour. Yeah. But it's like a gigantoid fad there in L.A. right now. Like the biggest thing ever. And there's lines. Yeah, they have lines out the door. And it's a yogurt place. Yeah, it's like Krispy Kreme a couple years ago. Like real big.
Soup Nazi. Yeah. It's like Soup Nazi was. Soup Nazi. No soup for you. Okay. That's perfect. I mean, that was so dead on. So check it out, man. When the U.S. Open was here in San Diego, Skye, what was the economic impact of the U.S. Open to San Diego? The U.S. Open brought $142 million to San Diego. They say $74 million of that was direct spending,
Like, so people actually getting hotel rooms, going out to eat, you know, shopping. And then the indirect impact was about $68 million. And that's the money for local labor, you know, businesses, people setting up tents and breaking them down. Yeah. So, yeah, a total of $142 million. Yes. That's a lot of Skrill. Oh, yeah. Skrill. 57053 is our phone number beginning and end of every show. We do an open phone segment, so give us a call.
5701053. We're back in the studio. I'm doing the show from home until my little guts are healed up. Oh, your guts. But call us right now, 5701053, and we'll say hello to you. Yeah, it's anything goes at this point. You could talk about anything. Call and ask questions. You can call and make comments. so you can call and do whatever you want. What? It's just Sean laughing at it. I don't know. Is Sean laughing at the same thing I'm laughing at? What are you laughing at? I don't know. I'm laughing at when you said guts. When Sky went, oh, you're guts.
Thank you. This is so weird. I am pretty funny. I am pretty funny. That must be the first time they met you. She goes, oh, you're guts. I really liked that. That's so stupid. Everyone's laughing, dummy. I was not seeing that. At least I've seen Batman and the Hulk and the Hulk. Oh! Yeah. Dang. Face on your Hawaiian shirt. Yes, I have it all over my guts. Face on your Hawaiian shirt. Line three is P1 Doc.
What's up, Doc? What? There it is. Please. Hey, Eddie, I just had a question. Did you see the fight this weekend? No. Uh-oh. Don't do it. I've been on vacation. He did not. No, he's waiting. Seth taped it for him. Everybody's trying to ruin it for me. Well, we got to talk about what happened. I didn't see it either. That's a good point. That's a good point. You can leave the room. That's what I had to do. Eddie, you can cover your ears. That's what I had to do with my shows when I didn't watch them. Doc hung up. You're good to go, Eddie.
Let's see. Line one. Mikey show. Hello. Hello. Hello? Hello. Hello, phone. Hello, hello, hello. Hello, hello, hello. Nah. Nobody there. Line two. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, I was calling about the ring thing earlier. Oh, Rob wearing his wedding ring? Yeah. Oh, wow. Okay. Okay, go ahead. Oh, my gosh. Uh-oh.
What is up with our phone? Yes, I'm on the phone. Line two's been messed up all day. Yeah, it has. Hello? Hello. Hello? Yes. Hey, I was calling to see what you guys think. Oh, don't use line two. Are you joking? Get off your Fargan phone, man. Don't use that one, Z. Line six is P1 Scott. What's up, Scott? Hey, buddy. Two things. One, I wanted to say you guys are awesome. I love you guys so much. I've been listening to you since like 2004, 2005. That's awesome, dude.
Yeah, I think your first 28-hour show, I think that's when it was. Right on. That's why we do it, man. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. I was wondering, when's the next 28-hour show? Never, ever, ever. I passed. Get off your phone, man. This is an upsetting question for everyone involved. I didn't want to talk about it. I've been retired. It is 28 straight hours on the radio with no music, no commercials. This year we're going to let P1s do it. It is generally in the month of October or November. So you did not miss it this year.
No, you did not. Oh, that's good. Thank you very much. Line five is P1 Sky Fan. Yeah. I just want to say K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K-O-K. Is that what you wanted to say? Somebody said it. Well, I'm glad somebody had the nerve to say it. Thank you very much, Sky fan. Good job. Take one more call. Mikey, show last call.
Bring us home. Yeah, I'm calling back. I'm trying to get that shout out for the Little League team. You're trying to get a shout out to the Little League team? Yeah, they're the number one team in San Diego right now. We're playing a tournament up in Murrieta. All right, go ahead. You're on the air, bro. Yeah, shout it out. Oh, cool. Yeah, it's Vista National Little League. They're playing up in Murrieta tonight at Los Alamos Sports Park at 5. Yeah. And anybody who wants to come, you know, give them a hand and try and make it to the Little League World Series. Awesome, bro.
