Matt called about a marriage wrecked by infidelity, and Mikey argued that his search for answers reflected sound instincts rather than insecurity because his wife would neither admit the affair nor work on the relationship. Sean described being quietly stood up by his nameless 7-Eleven friend, while Ashley's mangled vocabulary and Katie's spouse-free reunion question became extended arguments about embarrassment, trust, flirting, and cheating. The crew condemned Michael Savage's description of autistic children, replayed Omarosa's clash with Wendy Williams, and debated whether sleeping parents were responsible for a devastating pellet-rifle accident at a Santee sleepover. They also volunteered Eddie for cooked crickets, staged an impromptu rap battle, reacted to a cologne-fueled crotch fire, disputed Janet Jackson's Super Bowl reveal, and argued over Brett Favre's attempted return to the Packers.
What happened, in order
A Young Marriage Ends
Matt, 21, called for help accepting the end of his marriage after learning that his 19-year-old wife had cheated and continued to deny it.
Sean's Nameless 7-Eleven Friend
Sean learned that the 7-Eleven clerk he befriended but whose name he never learned had skipped their tentative Lake Tahoe dinner plan.
Michael Savage's Autism Rant
The crew played Michael Savage calling most autism diagnoses fraudulent and argued that any point about overdiagnosis was destroyed by his claim that autistic children were merely brats.
Vial, Vile, and Other Wrong Words
Ashley admitted repeatedly calling her dog's vomit “vial” and confusing sustenance with substance, prompting the hosts and callers to trade their own mangled words.
The Spouse-Free Reunion
P1 Katie's husband did not want her at his reunion, which sparked a debate over whether excluding a spouse is considerate, harmless, or evidence of plans to flirt or cheat.
Cricket Adobo Challenge
After hearing Andrew Zimmern praise adobo-style crickets, Eddie confidently volunteered to eat cooked crickets while the others recoiled.
Omarosa Versus Wendy Williams
The show played a combative Wendy Williams interview in which Omarosa rejected the angry-black-woman label, called Wendy a buffoon, and accused her of criticizing guests behind their backs.
The Santee Pellet-Rifle Accident
A 14-year-old at a Santee sleepover was shot through the eye with a pellet that lodged near his spine, leaving him temporarily paralyzed on his left side and igniting an argument about parental responsibility.
An Instant Rap Battle
A proposed Eminem–Kid Rock charity rap battle inspired Mikey and Ashley to improvise awkward rhymes on the spot.
Cologne Crotch Fire
Two men poured cologne on a sleeping friend's crotch and ignited it, causing second-degree burns and bringing prison and jail sentences.
Was Janet Jackson's Reveal Planned?
After discussing the overturned CBS fine, Skye insisted Janet Jackson's Super Bowl exposure was accidental while Mikey and the others argued that the breakaway costume and jewelry proved it was staged.
Brett Favre Wants Back In
Eddie argued that Green Bay owed Brett Favre a conversation or a release, while Skye and Mikey weighed his right to reverse retirement against the team's commitment to Aaron Rodgers.

Welcome, everybody. It is a Mikey show, and we are live in the studio on vacation, although I am doing the show from home because I had surgery, and everything is almost right. That's what I can tell you. Everything is almost right. I'm having issues with computers and stuff like that. Your guy's camera's working? Mine was goofy until just now. I just think... Oh, no. Yeah, I should shut you off. Now it's not working? No. You've been bumping me. It's 2008 is the year. Yeah, thank you. So everybody knows. It's like, you know, you would think that we would just, things would work, everything would be great, but it's just not the way it goes, you know? You can't depend on computers. No. It's like the dark ages. I feel I should be drawing pictures on the walls of my computer so that... Thank you.
Thousands of years from now, an archaeologist can see what a ridiculous situation computers are today. So, Sean, can you see any of them on your cameras? I can only see Zeth, yeah. I can now see Zeth and you, Mike, and Sean. And there's B-Rob. I'm getting there. Eddie's getting there. Come on, Eddie. What about Ashley? I don't see that. She's trying, I think. She's clicking things. She's invisible. She's clicking stuff. Furiously clicking things. Well. As you're listening right now, folks, this is what we have. We have me at my house and a camera. We've got Sean in San Francisco on a camera. We have me and Sky, Ashley and Rob and Zeth all at the Clear Channel Studios in San Diego on a camera. Eddie's on. Eddie's on, everyone. Eddie's on. I can see everybody now except for Sky. You can see Ashley? I can see Ashley. Can anybody else see me? No.
Nope. But I'm on. And Sean, just so you know, that call screening stuff makes me literally, yeah, it makes me want to lose my mind. Like, you know, like my mind. Like, I literally feel like I should be in a straitjacket, in a loony bin, and people would come and visit me, and I would just be, I'd be mumbling things like, VPN, VPN. Oh, no. Password, password, C-C-R-S-D-I. Clear channel, clear channel. On the scale this morning, I've lost 33 pounds. Since January, I've lost 33 pounds. I thought you missed since we went on vacation. I was going to go, Mike. Not since a vacation. But all together, you know, lost a lot of weight. Congrats. That's fantastic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You look good, Mike. You look good.
Thank you very much. Appreciate that. There's Skye. Hi, everybody. I can see Skye. This is wonderful. We're all here now. I feel good now. Okay. I feel halfway good. Pretty soon I'm going to have the ability to be able to take the phone calls on the air right here from my computer. And when I say pretty soon, I mean about 12, 13 years. It'll be really easy. It could be done now, but it's... extraordinarily difficult to have it work efficiently. So, all right. Thank you. Let's get this thing rolling. 570-1053 is the phone number. And our text number, too, because we'd love to hear from you on text, is 35253. So, text us, too. We love to get your text messages. I'll go around the room. I'll introduce everybody. And we'll get rolling. My name's Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38 years old. I have this big...
Big gash on my belly. And, guys, I am now a iPhone. The new iPhone 3G. Yesterday, I called Fashion Valley. And a person actually picked up the phone. Unlike when you call UTC, where the phone just rings and rings and rings and nobody picks it up. Come on. And that's been happening since the release of the new iPhone at Fashion Valley. But at Fashion Valley, a person actually picked up and I said, do you have any of the new iPhones? And they said, yep, we've got the 8 gigabyte in black. We've got the 16 in just white. And I said, okay. So I hung up and I called Boston Rob to see if he would go stand in line for me for a couple of bucks until I got there. And then he could leave. And it just so happened that when I called him.
He was at Macy's at Fashion Valley. Get out of here. Wow. The phone call was frantic, though. I got to tell you. I thought you popped a stitch or something. Yeah. I was like, Mike, what do you need, dude? And you're like. And I was just like, oh, my God. You need me to come up there? Did you have a slip and fall? What's going on? He thought I was using the clapper. Life alert. Mm-hmm. So, yeah. So he went and he stood in line. And I got down there. He was wearing a Red Sox baseball cap, a green Celtics t-shirt, and a green Celtics jersey over that. Really a big fan of Boston sports. There's no doubt about it. And so once I got... How long were you in line, Rob? About half an hour. I was in line two more hours after you. Oh, jeez. At the time, I was third in line.
The guy that was first in line had been standing there 30 minutes. So, again, I'm third in line. The guy that's first in line, we were there 30 minutes. 3G. See? What would it have to be? What would it have to be? Eddie, Sky, what would it have to be after all of that? What would it have to be to live up to that ridiculousness? You know what I mean? I love it. Sleep with it. I need to love it. i need to love it uh so anyway 570-1053 give us a call beginning and end of every show we do open phones so you can call about anything you want and you can text us at 35253 and uh so i'm mikey i'm the host of this show eddie is my best friend of over 20 years he's our producer our sports guy he is italian and mexican in descent and uh
He's a pretty good cook. His dad is a really good cook and could open a restaurant if he felt like it, but he doesn't feel like it. No. Do it. Skye is our news girl, and she is 30 years of age, and when it comes to food, she's a lot like my wife. She doesn't really like new stuff. She's not into it. It's creepy, Mike. She says it's creepy, and it's got weird texture. Everything new. She says if it's a new food item that she's never had, she goes, ooh, weird texture. Yes. Shawnee, oh boy. is our sound effects man. There he is. He is 38 years old and lives up in the Bay Area and we see him on this camera and he just took his three fingers on his right hand and he wiggled them as if to say. Ashley is our assistant producer. She is fantastic. She is a blonde girl. She's a huge fan of the new camera. Can you see me? She really is. She's using it as a mirror. I mean, this is...
This is like the best day of my life. Oh, man. She's so excited. We should count how many times she checks her hair. I mean, I've already told her enough. You've already talked to her. I've already told her enough. You can't count that high. You can't count that high. The camera is so much better than the reflection I use in the mirror that Rob and I have. That separates me and Rob. The lighting is so much better in this camera. That's right. That's why we got it. That's why we got it for you. Ash is wearing a black number today. She looks fantastic. Thank you. It's great to have her along with us. Austin Rob is our phone screener, and he's also a singer and a songwriter. He writes a lot of stuff for The Mikey Show. He's very talented. He's a real multifaceted guy. Oh, yeah. For goodness sake, we just lost Eddie's camera. Rob is 25 years of age, and he's got tattoos all over the place. He's even got this tattoo on his neck. Who would do that? On the back of his neck? No, Eddie. It's right on the front on his throat. I'd do that. On the throat? You did do that, Rob. We're talking about you. It says the word Boston. You're welcome. I do not think you. I know it. What are you talking about? But...
He did it anyway. He did it anyway. He decided, hey, I'm going to go for it. I really love the city of Boston. And then finally, there is Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, M.D. And he's the last person to join the Mikey Show. He makes us a group of seven. He's a good kid. Very sweet. Tall. handsome, and he's got a big fan out there in our listening audience named Dr. Wayne. Yes, that is true. Dr. Wayne is a big fan of Zeth, even though Zeth barely ever says a word on the air. He's a big fan. 570-1053 is our request line, and even though we don't play any music, and our text number is 35253.
And the FDA says, I don't know why they don't just say, we don't know. How about that, America? How about that? Every vegetable has poop on it. Yeah. Basically. Yeah. People wash their hands already. I mean, I can't believe it. They did that whole tomato recall. No one was serving tomatoes anywhere. It was this big fiasco. Oh, yeah. It was actually a jalapeno. Come on. Have they figured that out for sure, or they're just taking guesses? Well, they're not specifically saying that this clears the tomatoes, but basically the way it went down is they thought tomato was the common link between all these salmonella cases across the country. So they recalled tomatoes everywhere, they were testing tomatoes everywhere, never found salmonella. Tomato's got a great lawsuit on its hands, by the way.
And so they said, well, you know what? Let's start testing things that are commonly served with tomatoes. Like attitude? Are they going to test that? Because I get that almost everywhere I go. And one of those things that's commonly found with tomatoes is jalapenos, you know, like in salsas and what have you, Mexican dishes. And it turns out that, yeah, they found jalapenos with this same bacteria, the same salmonella on it. But now they're trying to figure out where did the salmonella come from? Did it come from the plant in Texas that shipped the jalapenos? Or is it from the fields in Mexico where the jalapenos are grown? Well, duh. So they still don't exactly know. Come on. Hey, we can't make that assumption. We had the poo-poo lettuce in... Wait, wait, wait. If you say we can't make that assumption, what do you think we're assuming? You're assuming that it came from Mexico. Then you thought the same thing. You weren't able to figure it out. Well, no, because I know you guys. But no, we had the poo-poo spinach up in Northern California. It's a different country. They don't have the same regulations. Well, our regulations don't seem to matter either. So I don't think we can make that assumption. I think you made that fight. Either way, thank you.
Either way, they're investigating. I believe in the Mexicans. Yes. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying. Viva la Mexico. Yes. I'm just saying we can't automatically point the finger at them. Te voy a la. We're guilty of this. This is con la raza. Thank you. So, all those. Habla Espanol. All the jalapenos have been recalled. They're advising people. Every jalapeno has been recalled. Well, the ones from the specific Texas plant. Jalapupios. But. They are advising people to avoid eating any fresh jalapenos or any products made with them, like fresh salsas. We ate it yesterday. So did I. It's like all I've been eating. So, we'll see. What do you mean it's all you've been eating, Ash? You're allergic to Mexican food, you says. That's true. Yeah, well, I've been eating a lot of jalapenos and different things. Like I had jalapeno burgers and then I had like a taco salad. Taco salad? You're allergic to Mexican food, you said. Yesterday, I freaking went to Santana's. Why are you going to Santana's? You said that you're allergic to Mexican food. I got some rolled tacos in. I was about to yak a doozy everywhere. I'm telling you, between the internet and this girl, Ashley, I'm going to lose my mind. I'm going to lose it. Let's take some phone calls.
Line two is P1, Matt. Matt! Matt! Matt! Matt! Matt! Nice introduction. Thank you very much. How are you? Pretty good. Doing pretty good. What's going on? All right. I've been married for one year now. Well, I have to change. Well, it's over now. And in the beginning, there was a lie that I tried to ignore. And I tried to get over it. My question is... Do I beat myself up over it for constantly digging for the answers? Or should I just... I should have just... Uh-oh. Okay, let's slow down. Take it easy, bro. Take it easy. Come on, Mike. Walk him through it. I'm going to walk you through this because you are so nervous, bro. Yes, I am. And it's okay. Don't worry about it. There's not that many people listening. So don't be nervous. But we just... You thought about this way too much before you started.
You were like, and then I'm going to say, and then I'll say, and then. So toss all that plan out the window. And just tell me very briefly, in normal person talk, what your situation is. Pretty much it's over. How do I come to terms with myself? What do you mean, how do you come to terms with yourself? What is the you part that you're worried about? Just basically turning my back on her, you know? You're turning your back on her. Pretty much she won't accept my helping hand. It's confusing, but I'll get to it. I'll figure this out. I'll figure it out. Is she going to get over her and walk away from the situation? Is that what you're asking? Pretty much. Yeah, I got to dig, though, because I got to be sure I know what's going on. And we'll get to it real quickly. I'm going to get to it. How old are you? 21. How old is she? 19. How long have you been married? One year and some change.
Okay, so you married her when she was 17 and you were 20. No, when she was 18 and I was 20. I'm sorry. She was 18, you were 20. And you were married about a year and now you are not. And who decided to split? Pretty much she gave me the hint. And I try to tell her that I'm going to fix it and do what I can to fix this. Let me just understand this correctly and I need you to just be as brief and... Absolutely straightforward and to the point with the answers. And we'll get this sucker figured out, I promise. So, she decided she was splitting on you and she was giving you hints that it was coming. Yes. Okay. And what were the hints that she was giving you about? Like, why was she hinting she was about to leave you? What was your problem? What was her problem with you? Secretive. She was hiding her phone calls when she walked away. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. That's not your problem. That sounds like her deal. She was hiding phone calls from you. Like you're saying that she was up to no good? Is that what you're telling me? From the get-go, yeah. Oh, from the get-go, she was up to no good. But her problem with you was the fact that you would bring it to light, you would want to talk about it, and you'd probably be pissed off about it. Is that right? Yes. Okay. And so now, did you find out that she was cheating or something?
Yes. Okay, and so you left her? No, I wanted to fix things, but then... Why would... Okay, okay, you wanted to fix things. Okay. But what? But what? She won't admit it to my face. Okay, but you know it's true. I know for a fact it's true. How do you know for a fact it's true? Friends of mine who actually saw the events happening have no reason to lie. Now, are you guys already divorced? No, we're going through the steps. I am never for divorce. I'm always for trying to work it out. Problem is, problem is, is that you're dealing with a girl that's really young. She's a little girl. She's 19? Yes. Okay. Forget what America says. She's a little girl. It doesn't matter what, everybody else in the world is going to say, oh, she's an adult. And we'll get every 19-year-old calling us right now going, I am not a child.
But I'm telling you, brother, 19 years old, you're still a kid. You're a kid. And so she's just quacking because she's a duck. That's all. She's a baby. She's a baby. She's a baby. So I have two schools of thought here. See, I think that getting married that young was probably a mistake because nobody's as mature as Sky and Mr. Sky. There's only one Sky and Mr. Sky. And they got married really young. But A, they were meant for each other, and B, she was super mature. And this girl doesn't sound super mature. So you got two things working against you. A, her age, and B, she cheated. But if you guys are committed to it, you could probably work it out. I don't know. She's not committed, though. She's not even acknowledging she cheated on you. So, yeah, I think that you should probably move on.
Is that what you were wondering? I feel like I've left you unsatiated. This question was, how do you do that? How do you move on? Yeah, because I actually fell in love. You love her? Yeah, sure. You're very in love with this. And he had said that he's, like, beating himself up over the events. But to me, it doesn't sound like you're at fault. There's nothing to beat yourself up about. It was just a horrible circumstance. Yeah, what are you beating yourself up about? Because I kept picking. I kept looking for answers. Because you didn't let her get away with it? Like, I mean... Yeah, you kept picking and looking because your heart was telling... Your instincts were telling you something was wrong. Yeah, and you have some self-respect. Sure, man. And she said it was my insecurities that was eating me up. Of course she does because she's manipulative. Sure. That's what people that cheat do. They will turn the tables on you. to make you confused. If you walk into a garage in the middle of the night because you heard a noise in there and you got a flashlight and you're looking around and you look like you're scared and somebody comes out and says, what's the matter with you? You look like you're scared for crying out loud. Of course you do. You heard a noise in the garage. You're freaked out. Of course. That's all. Okay.
You know, so, yeah, man. Write me an email. We'll talk about it more in depth. Hi, dude. Good luck, man. Thank you. That's a tough one. That's a tough one. You'll be all right. That sucks. That sucks to have to go through that being, you know, I mean, any time, but when you're that young and, you know. I know, man. Haven't we all kind of, we've all been there, unfortunately. Yeah. All how to deal with that people messing around on you stuff or being in a relationship you know ain't right and it ain't going to work out and you're just like. Come on, I can figure this out. I can get the combination. This is a Rubik's Cube and I'll get it in like two minutes. Right. Hey, you know, this is a bummer, but we have to take a time out real quick. What? I know it. Already? I know it. But, oh, we got a lot of good stuff today, man. And I want your phone calls, all right? Call us right now, 570-1053. And also text us at 35253.
Sean talked to his 7-Eleven friend. Oh, no. I know. I know. You guys want to know what happened? Yeah. All right, then let's take a break and talk, come back and talk to Sean about what happened with his 7-Eleven friend. And we will do that. Don't go anywhere. It's a Mikey show. And let's see who we have here. We got Ray Romano in the stand-up spotlight. Show stand-up spotlight. Great to be back here in my hometown, New York. I've been traveling and the crowds aren't as good. Actually, I was in Montreal, Canada last week. Yeah, uh-huh. Beautiful city. I learned some French there. They're all bilingual. That's what amazed me. In Montreal, I went into a Burger King. The Burger King employees are required to be bilingual. Just think about that for a second, folks. Have you been to Burger King in New York? Yeah, they're not even lingual here. It's a little different in New York. You have to kind of draw your food here. Hamburger. I'd like a hamburger.
Hamburger. I have to go. I'm going to go. Take it out. Here, I'll put little feet on my hamburger. They're bilingual. You guys get a lot of calls every morning that people pick on Sky or Ashley or giving Eddie or Sean stuff. Every one of you are great. Thank you, man. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Pretty jammed up from the 78 down to Via Rancho Parkway. And then some reduced speeds again to Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain Ranch. Other than that, the South 5 looking great down the North County shoreline. No worries out of the East County. South Bay traffic seems to be moving well as here is on the 5805 northbound. 805 a minor delay through North Park, but nothing too serious quite yet. We do have some thick fog in some areas of the county, so be careful with that.
Board of wait until an hour and a half in some lanes in San Isidro. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. So Eddie is now on the sleep train. Yes, I am. I got aboard. And it's because you just got a new house. Eddie just bought a new house. And he's putting some beds in, furnishing the place. Yeah, I heard you talking about it for quite a while. And I made the choice to go into sleep train. And it was a great choice. Because, you know, you really... Their selection is awesome. You can really, really improve the way you sleep by your mattress. Did you decide to go with that sleep number or you went with something different? No, I went with the Sealy, which is the number one best-selling mattress in America, which I found out there at Sleep Train. Very knowledgeable. It has the pillow top on top, but yet it's still pretty firm. Yeah. So you get both. going there. That's awesome. So it was really cool. I can't wait. It's being delivered tomorrow and get to sleep on it for the first time tomorrow. It's so cool, man. Looking forward to it. I'm telling you, go in there. If you go in there before two o'clock, they'll deliver the same day. Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. This is the Mikey Show. I think it's cool. Featuring Mikey. Mikey is a very judgmental jerk and I fight that. I do not like killer whales, no. Okay. Sky. No, I love. Sean. I don't. Where? Boston Rob. I
I got short-term memory loss. No, I can't do it. And Ashley. I'm not that great anyways. I'm kind of creepy. The Mikey Show's on. Come on. Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey Show at 637. It was announced yesterday that Jay Leno's last Tonight Show will be on Friday, May the 29th. Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey finally gets traded to the Saints for a second and fifth round draft pick. Welcome back. A lot of stuff going on on the show today. We really do have a big show for you today. Got a really interesting email from, I believe, a gal that said that her husband didn't want to go, didn't want to take her to his high school reunion. Oh. Mm-hmm. Sounds familiar. So we're going to have to figure out. Shut up. Shut up. That's not how we went down. That's not how we went down. Listen, some of us don't.
Take spouses to reunions, you know. It don't mean nothing, right, Scott? We know why. So that's all I'm saying. Also, we're going to be doing a pretty interesting topic. It's called cell phone mishaps. Now, this is when you accidentally call somebody with your cell phone. You don't mean to. It's in your pocket or it's in your purse if you're a girl. And, you know, you accidentally call them and they pick up and they go, hello. There you are talking to somebody and you don't even know it. Or vice versa. You know, somebody calls you without knowing it and you go, hello. And you hear them going, and that mic is, you know, such a fatty boomblatty. And I'm like, hey, I'm right here, though. I hear what you're saying. We're going to do a little Wuss Rock jukebox today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got the YouTube clip of the day coming up. It's pretty disgusting and funny. Oh, my favorite.
And we're going to replay that song from Boston Rob. He dropped a new song called Hands Free. And it's about this new hands free law. So we're going to be doing that in just a little bit. We got any calls? Nothing. 570-1053. Since Zeth is sitting in the big boy chair, and that is the chair that I usually reside in when I'm in the studio. Zeth, are you able to check texts? I can, yeah, I can check during the break if we don't have too much going on. Okay. We got to get somebody on the text then. 35253 is our text number. And so, yeah, we want to hear from you via text message if you can. So before I went to break, I said that I wanted to talk to Shawnee about his 7-Eleven friend. Oh, please. Please do, Mike. Well, it's a really trippy story. Sean goes to the 7-Eleven every morning. And there's two. 7-Eleven employees. One of them is Sean's nemesis, and they do not get along. It's his arch enemy. It's his arch enemy. But the other one is a real nice guy that is an Indian gentleman, right, Sean? Yeah. I think they're both Indian. They're Indian. One guy's a real... I like the 7-Eleven, this guy. And Sean has...
That's a stereotype. Thank you. And Sean has developed a relationship with one of them. Oh, yes, he has. They're friends. Friendship. Friends till the end. Friends till the end. BFFs. Definitely friendly. Yep. Every day when Sean leaves, he writes TTFN and he sees him the next day. Not really. LOL. They make each other LOL all the time. Not really. That's a good friend then. We do love. They, you know, last weekend we were on vacation, they were both going to be in Lake Tahoe at the same time, and they made plans to have dinner with one another, even though they don't know each other's names. Now, that's a little weird. Weird, right? That is weird. Well, I don't quite know how to solve this particular situation without looking really stupid. What does that mean? Well... If I go to him and I say, oh, by the way, what is your name? What does that say about me? It means you don't know his name. Yeah. Not only does it mean I don't know his name, but it also means that I didn't care enough to find out initially, or he did tell me initially, and I just totally... But he doesn't know your name either, right? He doesn't call me by my name, so I don't think he knows my name. What does he say? He calls me boss, yeah. Or he'll say, hey, man. I just took a guess at that, by the way. Hey, how are you, boss? Yeah.
No, all of them dudes, they always call me boss. All right. All of them dudes. That's right, Eddie, all of them dudes. The guys that work at 7-Eleven. Okay. Well, here is the topic at hand. You see, they went to Lake Tahoe, but this guy, unknown Indian friend, never reached out to Sean when they were in Tahoe like they had planned. He was supposed to call me. He was supposed to call. He never did. So Sean saw him for the first time this morning, right, Sean? Yeah. How'd it go? Well, so I walked in. I went, hey, how are you? He goes, oh, hey, we missed you last week. I said, yeah, I was on vacation. I said, I missed you in Tahoe. And he goes, oh, yeah. I go, well, what happened? Did you guys, you know, did you make it up there? What went on? He goes, oh, no, I didn't go. I didn't go. And I said, oh, so did your friends go up there and then you didn't make it? Oh, no, they did not go either. I didn't go, so they didn't go. He's like the leader of the pack. He's the one everyone wants to be around. Absolutely. Absolutely. He's like the Indian Vince Vaughn. Oh, so true. You don't know how money you are. That's right.
That's right. Come on, we'll find some little babies tonight. Who's the big winner? Who's the big winner? Right, who's the big winner? Come on. Oh, redo that movie. Yeah, that's right. Redo swingers with a couple Indian guys. Oh, my God. Well, listen, man, you know, I said, I'm not going to roll, and so they didn't want to roll. Please, someone do that. Sorry I didn't hit your digits, man. Don't get all wussy on me. Is that where it was left, Sean? Did it end like that? It pretty much ended like that. He said that we're going to try and go this weekend again, which I don't know if I believed him or not. Now you can't trust him. That's the hurt talking. That's just the hurt. It is. It's the hurt. What would you think? If you were in my position, what would you think? I would think, yeah. I would think I'm crazy for talking to the 7-Eleven guy. Yeah, I think I would. Hey, listen, man, listen, listen, listen. Here's the deal. I'm a lot like Danny Zuko from The Grease, you know? I act a certain way around you here, but when I'm around my friends, you know, it's not as cool to hang with you. Oh, no, Sean has turned his camera.
Went over that line. Poor sweetie. Yeah, that's right. He said, listen. Went over the line. It's like he's at Quick Stop and not 7-Eleven. I know, right? Exactly. Maybe you guys could go have a meal together there in town. It's a great thought. And hang out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hang out a little bit. He's your best friend. You guys could eat with your fingers together. Yeah, sit on pillows. No, Shawny, man. We are just getting the... We're looking at the wall right now. Yeah, I mean, he's just like, you know. I mean, Shawn, you have experience with monkeys, you know what I mean? You have a lot in common. Come on, man. Shawn's very protective of his friends. We have a lot in common. Yeah, we were at your wedding. We know what's up. You wore robes. That's right. First of all, it was a Moroccan wedding. It wasn't an Indian wedding. Oh, it was? Yes. And it wasn't a robe. It was a gushma. Okay. No, don't do it. Don't do that to us. Whatever. What are we saying that's wrong? No, nothing at all. Nothing. No. It was a purple robe. Love it all. It was a purple robe. Right, Sean? It was not purple. It was black. Very masculine. Didn't he have those genie shoes on?
Eddie, I don't know. I don't know if they're genie shoes. Shut up. I don't know if the actual name of them is genie shoes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You go to like Nordstrom and you ask for the genie shoes. How many genie shoes? Size 10. Have you got any genie shoes today? Are you running any specials? No. Shani is out on us, man. He is out on us right now. Why? What did we say that was wrong? I don't know. Genie shoes. Didn't you have those? You're a jerk. You know what I'm talking about. That would be mean or anything. Hey, let's go to line one. P1 Grimluck is on line one, and he's got a question for Eddie. Go ahead. Hey, good morning, Mikey Show. Because Extra Sports 1090 is coming back on the air, does that mean that you're not going to be doing the Chargers broadcast anymore? Well, it's actually Extra Sports 1360. Let's get that correct. That's right. And they've been on the air for about a year. Oh, really? Yeah. I just started advertising for it. I wasn't sure. Well, that's good. No, that's a good station. I pop on over there every once in a while. Yeah, you do. But it doesn't matter. The Rock 105 is still the flagship station of the San Diego Chargers, and I will still be on the broadcast. Awesome.
Gosh, where are you not? That's awesome. I'm like TV, movie, over here. MAM, FM. Ashley, stop. You shouldn't do that because that's going to get him going. You're not at all. Stop beating the monster. Stop doing it. My phone rings off the hook. I know. I just don't. I don't know. I don't know how you do it. I don't know how you do it. Stop my cat. Thank you, Ashley. You get it. So, let me see. Is this right, Sky? What? The guy that got shot by the San Diego Harbor Police was a dancer who ordered a drink and then just jumped. First of all, Sky, kind of catch us up on this story for people that don't know. Okay, yeah. If you weren't listening yesterday, we were talking about over the weekend, you know, it was the San Diego Pride Festival in Hillcrest. You know, the gay pride parade, as some people call it.
And so there were a lot of events surrounding it in the county. And on Saturday night, there was a harbor cruise that was chartered. It was about 800 people, mostly men. And it was, you know. It sounds gay. The Harbor Tom Cruise. The Harbor Tom Cruise. I don't know if that's a fact or not, but we'll take any word on it. Who wants some man meat? So they were out, you know, doing their thing. And I guess they had hired a bunch of male dancers to, you know, dance and entertain the crowd and, you know, keep the fun times rolling. And one of the dudes jumped off the ship and then was, as we talked about yesterday. One of the dudes that they hired? One of the dancers that they hired, according to witnesses, went to the bar, got a drink, climbed over the railing. And then jumped 30 feet into the water. What? And then so, of course, the ship, the harbor crews called the, what are they called? The harbor patrol? That doesn't sound, the harbor police. Thank you. And they called them, they called the harbor police and the harbor police came and tried to pull this guy out of the water. And he was being very combative. And then when they pulled him out.
He started attacking one of the Harbor Police officers, went for his weapon, and that's when a second Harbor Police officer opened fire and shot and killed the dude. But the details that are new today are the fact that this guy was a hired dancer, the fact that he went to the bar, ordered a drink, then climbed over the railing and jumped into the water. It's just crazy. So weird. Yeah, you're supposed to be working. You're not supposed to be going to the sauntering up to the bar. Yeah, so. Ordering drinks. The guy's 30, he was 37 years old and from West Hollywood. So he wasn't even, you know, a local San Diego guy. He was here. So bizarre. Yeah, very odd story. So, of course, both officers involved in the incident have been placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the results of this investigation. Zeph, hit line one for me if you can, please. It's P1 Scooby. Scooby, are you there? Hey, what's going on, guys? Not too much, dude. Hey, dude, tell everybody what a P1 is. You know, new listeners that may be listening and they hear this term, P1, P1. What is that? All right, well, a P1 is a Mikey Show listener. They listen exclusively to the Mikey Show. When they call into the radio show, they don't cuss. They turn their radio down, get straight to their point, and they turn on other P1s. That is it, dude. That is it. So what's up, Scoob?
Hey, as we had this weekend, big weekend in San Diego Comic-Con, I wanted to ask Eddie if he was going to go. And if he was, if he knew that Friday was Star Wars Day, and they're having a Star Wars trivia thing there, if he was going to go there. Yeah, I am aware of this. It is a very busy, crazy time for me right now with my new house and everything. I may try to make it down there. And you actually, Eddie, you are aware of this. Yeah, I actually am. I'm sure you got some sort of email blast. Excuse me. How are you aware of this? How are you aware of this? I am a member of... Stop it. Starwars.com. No, you're not. I get a probe droid email sent to me. A what? Homey beacon. Okay. Oh, my. So I might have to saunter down there. Oh, my. Hey, listen, we got to take a quick time out. But we got a couple of things that are coming up when we come back. First of all, have you ever heard of the radio broadcaster named Michael Savage? Sean, he broadcasts up there, doesn't he? Chargers tight end Antonio Gates tested his surgically repaired left big toe at training camp yesterday and said it's about 65 to 70 percent healed. Hey, Skye, do you have some breaking news on Christian Bale? Yeah, this is crazy. So Christian Bale, you know, the star of the new Batman, you know, biggest movie out right now, was taken into custody by British police this morning.
I guess, you know, he had an appointment with the British police to go be interviewed. And when he showed up, was taken into custody and is being questioned about allegations that he assaulted his mom and sister on Sunday, the night before the London premiere of The Dark Knight. Holy cow. Yeah. What is that all about? Very interesting. But we don't really have details. No, no. They're questioning him right now. About these allegations. And he's currently in British police custody. So we'll see. I thought his parents were killed. But he doesn't have any siblings. Wait a second. I think you're confusing him with his character. Bruce Wayne. I don't understand. The actual Batman. I don't understand. Very traumatic when he was a kid. Yeah. He was upset about it. And I can see how you'd be confused because he played him and everything, but that's not actually who he is. He does assault people, but he does it for the good. For the good. He's an actor. Exactly. Now, before we went to break, I told you that this guy, Michael Savage, he's a syndicated talk show host. He originates out of the Bay Area. So that's not...
Fred and Ben's older brother? No, it is not Fred Savage from the Wonder Years' older brother. Michael Savage is on more than 350... Macho Man Randy's. No. It's his little brother. Snap into a Slim Jim. Michael Savage is on more than 350 radio stations across the country. Yeah, 350. That's a lot. Sean, conservative or liberal? Oh, extremely conservative, although he claims to be an independent. Really? Yeah. He's a big blowhard, isn't he? Yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure. So these were the comments that he made on his show yesterday. Cut 29. Now you want me to tell you my opinion on autism, since I'm not talking about autism? A fraud. A racket. For a long while, we were hearing that every minority child had asthma. Why did they suddenly, why was there an asthma epidemic amongst minority children? Because I'll tell you why. The children got extra welfare if they were disabled, and they got extra help in school. It was a money racket. Everyone went in and was told, when the nurse looks at you, you go, I don't know, the dust got me. So everyone had asthma from the minority community. That was number one. Now the illness du jour is autism. You know what autism is? I'll tell you what autism is in 99% of the cases. It's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is.
What do you mean they scream and they're silent? They don't have a father around to tell them don't act like a moron. You'll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don't sit there crying and screaming, idiot. Autism. Everybody has an illness. If I behaved like a fool, my father called me a fool. And he said to me, don't behave like a fool. The worst thing, he said, don't behave like a fool. Don't be anybody's dummy. Don't sound like an idiot. Don't act like a girl. Don't cry. That's what I was raised with. That's what you should raise your children with. Stop at the sensitivity training. You're turning your son into a girl, and you're turning a nation into a nation of losers and beaten men. That's why we have the politicians we have. Well, the end of that statement I can kind of agree with, but the stuff on the autism, that's kind of weird. It sounds like a very ignorant statement. Yeah. Well, I mean, he has like a book. Michael Savage has like a book that he's always pushing about like healthy ways to treat your children. Like he claims to be like kind of an expert when it comes to children and illnesses.
Since this happened, these comments were made last week. There were protests outside his New York City affiliate yesterday. There are protests planned for tomorrow outside Sean's building in San Francisco. Sweet. Because of this, Affleck Insurance has pulled all their ads from the Michael Savage program. So clients are already starting to pull out from the program due to these comments. But Michael Savage has not apologized for his comments, but tried to clarify his comments by saying that he was trying to boldly awaken parents. Well, we got I think we got audio of him saying that. Well, he's on the Glenn Beck show. Now, this would be interesting for me to know, because a lot of times in radio, especially as you get into the guys that are the bigger guys in radio, a lot of times they know one another. I don't know whether or not Savage and Glenn Beck know one another, but it wouldn't surprise me because they're sort of at that level of success. Sean, do you know if Glenn Beck and Savage know each other? They do. They do know each other? Yeah, they do know each other. Okay, so here is Savage explaining on the Glenn Beck show, Cut 30. What you're saying, but if you heard the entire show,
You would have heard me addressing those comments to the misdiagnosed, false diagnosed, and outright racketeers as opposed to the general category of autistic children. Glenn, let me say this again. The American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending right now that all children be screened for ASD, that's autism, at the 18- and 24-month level. But in England, the UK National Screening Committee recommends against screening for autism. in this young general population. Why? Because screening tools have not been fully validated, and treatments or interventions lack sufficient evidence for effectiveness, meaning there is no definitive diagnosis, no biomedical diagnosis, no blood test, no MRIs, which will prove definitively that a child has autism. It's become such a gigantic category. Overly bright children now are being put into this category. Now, why is this happening? How could there be... An epidemic that's originated, that's come out of nowhere, where one out of 150 children suddenly have an illness that hardly existed 20 years ago. I haven't talked about this much on the radio, but I'm going to talk about it. Because what he's talking about and what he just said right now screams to me. What he just said right now. Now, not the stuff before, not the when he was sort of going on this rant. Stuff doesn't scream to me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That stuff doesn't, doesn't.
say much to me other than shock jock but what he just said it really speaks to me and the reason it does is because my son jake is 23 months old he'll be two years old or he's 22 months old he'll be two years old in a couple of months we went through this whole deal of um of uh developmental delays jake's not saying anything And there was a lot of fear because autism is a hot-button word. He's right about that. Autism is a hot-button word. And so when Jake wasn't speaking in the ways that the Internet said he was supposed to, we were freaking out. Yeah, you know, it's a really interesting conversation to have, but it's all in how you deliver it.
Like if you're on the radio and calling people, you know, idiots and saying that, you know, kids are brats and that's why they're saying they have autism. Like nobody's going to listen to that. But if you are clear and concise and say, listen, you know, I'm raising this subject up because I'm concerned. And it's strange to me that all of a sudden autism is everywhere and every kid has autism. Like that's an interesting conversation to have. But when you're pounding your fist and acting like an idiot, nobody's going to listen to that. Yeah, because after you say that you believe 99% of the cases are just brats. and then you try and backpedal, nobody's going to respect or listen to what you have to say. And I think, like Mikey's saying, he does have a point about the screening age of children in this country. But no one's going to listen to it anymore because he just said 99% of the cases are brats. Yeah. Sky just nailed it. As soon as anybody hears that, you mentally check out. Right? You mentally check out. Now, when he was on the Glenn Beck show saying that stuff,
a lot of that stuff makes sense to me. Jake was not speaking. He was, uh, you know, 14 months old or 15 months old. He wasn't speaking now since then. And I got to tell you, I mean, this is, this is the opportunity for me to not only talk about it, but give you my experience with it for us and our family. There was so much prayer being poured into this. I mean, like, I can't even tell you, uh, And Jake went to a speech therapist who said to him and to us, I can't ethically continue to see your kid because he's speaking at a three-year-old level. So this is just my opinion. And my wife and I, I think we're on the same page, but we kind of split at some point on what we think about it. But I kind of agree with some of the stuff that he was saying there on the Glenn Beck show of, first of all, we know that there is a...
Giant scare. Second of all, we know that there is a lot of over-diagnosis. And third, we know, and here's me, this is Mikey talking, that many of these things correct themselves. Jake is speaking at a three-year-old level. A lot of these different things that we were freaking out about, they just resolve themselves. For me, it was a ton of this prayer, too. But there is... something called autism, and it is real, and it's something called a spectrum. And so what that means is think of a rainbow, and a rainbow starts way over here on the left, and it ends way over here on the right, and all in between is this big gray area. And that's kind of what it is. We're getting a ton of text messages, phone calls. One of the text messages says, as a Michael Savage listener and a father of a son with autism, I have to agree with a certain extent of his statements.
All right. Now, I'd be interested to know which ones he agrees with and which ones he doesn't. Let's see. Another text message. We're talking a lot about overdiagnosis and a lot of this of what he's saying is being taken out of context. Well, that's what he says, too. He says we didn't get to hear the beginning of his broadcast. And so if you hear it all in context, maybe there's more to it. But I'm sorry. I agree with Sky. As soon as you say that stuff about idiots. Yeah, I mean, the quote is, in 99% of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. I mean. That's a quote. The thing that's really crazy about that is that I just would never put that word together with an autistic child. And if he's saying that 99% of them are just a brat. That means that he's saying that true autism exists in only 1% of all cases that you hear. Right. Which is, man, that's a pretty lofty comment, right? Yeah. That's saying a lot. Right. Let's take some of these phone calls. Line 5 is P1 Russell. Russell, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. I wanted to throw a little devil's advocate out there. Okay, sure, we probably have a ton of misdiagnosing. Same with ADD and all this kind of stuff.
I'm remembering a conversation a way long time ago between, you know, that Skye was bringing up with her mom and everything about the food coloring. You know, Savage was saying, how can we possibly have an epidemic that just popped up within the last 50 years? Well, one of the major things that's changed recently, and I don't, you know, I'm not firmly believing this, but, you know, our diet is totally different. We're eating stuff now that we were never eating before, you know, all these food colorings, artificial stuff, all this kind of stuff. I mean, maybe there are some totally unknown effects of that stuff on the brain. Yeah, they're chemicals. You're putting chemicals in your body. I mean, you know, it seems like common sense to me. Here's the thing. I don't disagree. I certainly don't hear that and go, no, I don't agree with that. That's not true. I don't say that. The problem is that there is a lot of just sort of opinion. And there's so little fact. For instance, for instance, vaccines. I mean, I want to listen. With all my heart, I want to be scared of them. Right. And with all my heart, I don't want to be scared of them. I just wish that there was some firm data. And when you hear me say that, folks, I am not saying that I think it's hooey. It's not that I don't think it's hooey. What I'm saying is we just don't know. And man, as a parent, is that frustrating or what? Well, and things are so.
tough here when you're dealing with things like that you know in america because you know when it comes to the government and big business everybody is so intertwined and you know the government doesn't want to have to clamp down on the pharmaceutical business i mean we remember you know well you know i wasn't around but you know a long time ago when doctors were endorsing cigarettes you know so it's kind of hard to know who to trust and what study to believe and who's funding what study i agree with you I think that the best thing that you can do right now is play it safe. And that means string the suckers out. String out the vaccines as long as you can. Don't get them all in one big dosage. Because, first of all, they won't let your kid go to school without vaccinations. And so you're faced with, well, do I not vaccinate my kid? Like, is that appropriate?
You know, and if I do vaccinate my kid, what's the safest way to go about vaccinating my kid? Yeah, wait till they're older, till they're stronger, you know, till they're of school age, not when they're straight out of the womb and you start injecting them with all this stuff. I agree. Hey, listen, we haven't, Jake doesn't have his MMR shot, the measles, mumps, rubella. And man, I wish that with the measles, mumps, rubella, with the MMR shot. You don't have an option of separating them. They all come in one deal. And listen, it's so confusing. If we started talking about it, man, we could talk about it for hours. It's so confusing. There's so much data. There's so much information. Anyway, phone lines are blowing up. We got to move on, though. Man, we got a lot of good stuff today to get to. Let's take a quick timeout. Sky, when I was in Hawaii, I was so thankful for my sunglasses from Sunglass and Optical Warehouse. They were so... cool and they came in so handy and it was awesome to have oh yeah i mean you should wear sunglasses all year round to protect your eyes but especially in the summer you know that you need those sunglasses i wore them all weekend when i was up in the san francisco bay area for a wedding and i was looking good oh i bet you were well thank you you know here's the deal when you know the economy is so bad right now and everybody is really struggling
So one of the things that I appreciate about Sunglass and Optical Warehouse is they're San Diegans. They're locals. And so when you go into a Sunglass and Optical Warehouse, you're supporting the local economy. And that, to me, is a cool thing. Right. I mean, if you need a pair of sunglasses anyway, why would you go into a shop owned by some guy in New York to get him a bigger penthouse? Screw those guys. Jerks, fat cats. Yeah. Local families. Locally owned. I love it. And when you go into Sunglass Optical Warehouse, say you're a P1, and you'll get a free visor clip with any sunglass purchase. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Overall looking pretty good on our freeways. No major problems, but you will find the usual brake lights pretty much in the usual spots here. However, northbound 5 is seeing some unusual heavy traffic here getting into Camp Pendleton and Oceanside. That's backing up from Mission Avenue up toward that Vandegrift entrance. So watch for the brake lights there. Heading south of the 5, you're good to go. From Oceanside clear all the way down to the border. South 15, though, staying pretty tough out of Escondido this morning off the 78.
The Via Rancho Parkway continuing through Rancho Bernardo and Carmel Mountain Ranch into Poway now. Also watch for brake lights out of Santee. The westbound 52, a little bit rough through the construction area there that they're working on near Mission Gorge. And that slows up to Mass Boulevard and then a slowdown right around the top of the summit there. No worries at all on the westbound 8. That's good to go into Mission Valley. The King Freeway is clear into downtown. And both the 5 and 805 northbound looking pretty decent here out of the South Bay. Minor delays in pockets here through National City in the 805. It does jam up on you, though, once you get into Kearney Mesa for a slow ride over the 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Let me tell you, into Sleep Train, and he's going to get all dialed in. Yeah, I cannot wait, man. I have had the same mattress for easily 15 years. Are you serious? Yeah, 15 years. And so, you know, it's still in great shape. Shockingly, that thing is still in great shape. No. But it's time. It's time for a change. The wife, I have a very firm mattress and she hates it. Yeah. She's ready for a more softer one. Yeah. And I kind of am too. Like I've had back problems, you know, for a long time. So I'm definitely ready for a change too. So it's going to be really cool. Sky, firm mattress for you or soft mattress? Medium. Yes. Right in the middle. Yeah. Eddie likes a firm mattress. Well.
You are going to be so happy when you get on that thing. Well, what's cool is that for people like us who have the different styles, they have what's called a sleep number mattress where you actually get to dial up the firmness on your side. That's cool. So it's really cool. Hey, if you've bought a mattress from Sleep Train and you really love the experience, please call us, will you, at 570-1053. But Sleep Train is your ticket to a better night's sleep. If it cost $1,000 to fill your gas tank, would you do it? Amy Winehouse's hubby was sentenced to 27 months in jail yesterday for assault and obstructing justice. Chargers first-round draft pick Antoine Cason officially became a holdout when he missed yesterday's workout. The cornerback from Arizona has yet to reach a contract.
All right, welcome back to the show. It's a Mikey show. And we are getting lots and lots of phone calls. Let's take some of these. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. Line four is P1 Nomad. Are you there? They all had to go during the break. Well, then don't worry about it. Let's see. Randy Duke Cunningham is seeking a presidential pardon. San Diego's very own Randy Duke Cunningham. Yeah. So he has filed the paperwork for President Bush to pardon him on his charges. He pled guilty back in 05 to bribery and tax evasion. And he has served about 19 months of his eight and a half year sentence.
So he submitted a petition for a presidential pardon. You know, sometimes lots of people hope that as a president is going out of office, they're willing to maybe pardon people because they're not going to be in office anymore. So they don't really have to be held accountable for it. It's like stealing the stapler. Right. Yeah. Right. Exactly. You're out anyway. So why not? What are you going to do? Are you in trouble? Yeah. So he's trying. Yeah. Randy Duke Cunningham. Hey, Ashley. Ashley, are you there? Grabbed a phone call. Oh, oh, oh. Yes? Ash. Yeah. Tell that story that you were telling us on the conference call yesterday about your boyfriend hearing you say some word that was making him nuts. Well, this happens a lot, Mike. Really? Let's just put that out there. Yes, it does. To kick this off.
But he let this one go for a couple days before he broke it to me that I was saying it wrong. So last week, Sammy got into yet another batch of my delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies. Oh, come on. And ate nine of them. Oh, that dog is obese. He's got a problem. He's got a problem. Jenny Craig. Oh, she's so fat. She's so fat. Oh, man. huggle body like her belly and then she eats those nine cookies and like she's got this like saggy belly so all day like nothing happened in terms of vowels and i was concerned i'm like she's gonna you know i wonder if something's wrong with her so the next day you know things kind of started happening so she was basically like she puked like um in my patio so there was like i came home from work and because she's got a little doggy door she can go outside and there was like three you could tell like little sammy puked on my patio. Dog service is hearing this. Somebody's got to take the dog. No kidding. Don't you ever say that again. Doggy protective services. Oh my gosh. And cookies. It wasn't my fault. I put them up on the freaking counter. She's a monkey. She climbs up there and eats them. It's a freaking dress and leggings. I called my boyfriend and I'm like, honey, she puked three times. I'm like,
There is so much vial just like all over my patio. Just like piles of vial. So then he comes over later that day. Vial. And I go, look. I go, honey, look. There's a pile of vial. There's a pile of vial. There's a pile of vial. The next day, I even, she puked again. I go, honey, she puked more vial. Yeah, there's vial everywhere. It took him until the following night. And we're like eating dinner. And he, you know, I said it again. And he was like. You know, like, I've been meaning to tell you, like, all this time it's vile, not vile. I'm like, why are you going to do that? Why are you going to let me, just like a jackass, just say vile for three days straight? Why did he? Why did he? I'm bummed he even said anything. Like, come on. Let her go. He thinks it's funny. He does these inside, like, practical jokes on me that he thinks are so funny. You know? Maybe. Maybe he was trying to pretend that that's not what you said. Yeah, maybe he thought he misheard me, and then I said vile again instead of vile again. And then on the plane ride home from Salt Lake City on Sunday, I was talking to him about, like, I've been having, like, stomach problems lately. And I'm like, yeah, and the substance of the food. Oh.
The substance of the food. And he softly starts to chuckle because my boyfriend has a very large vocabulary. He uses big words a lot, and I'm constantly asking him, like, what does that mean? What does that mean? And I guess it's sustenance and not substance. That is true. I didn't know. These are facts. You know, you guys know people that do this. My wife said that I do it, by the way. You're smart. She said that I have a word that... I say all the time. And because I brought this up to her that Ashley did this. And she said, you know, I'm glad you're bringing this up. Oh, this is going to be awesome. She said, because it gives me the opportunity to be able to tell you that you have one. Yeah. And I said, what? She said, you say that somebody stole something. Nice. Yeah. And I was looking at her like.
And? Well said. Apparently somebody stole something. What did they steal? It's stole. Stole. They stole. Which to me sounds stupid. It sounds ridiculous. You don't need to put the D on the end. It's cool. Sky has one. Sky says taken back. Oh yeah. She refuses to say taken aback. And you've corrected me a million times. But I don't care. She doesn't like the way it sounds. Yeah, that's the thing. I think my way is right. Who says there has to be a B or an S instead of a B? Substance. The dictionary says it for one. The English language. That's true. Webster. We all know what we're trying to say. I always have four words ringing in my head. Anytime this happens in my head silently, I think that's not a word. I always have those four words going on in my head. That's not a word. That's not a word. Like you hear people say, irregardless. No, that's a great word. I love that. Irregardless.
That's not a word. Yeah, we don't know that yet. Who says? We do know that. No, they're still working on it. Scientists are in debate. They add new words to that dictionary every year. Now, you realize that there are people listening right now, you guys that just heard irregardless, and they're going, well, what's the problem with that? Is that wrong? Right. It's regardless. Irregardless isn't a word. I don't know. 5701053, do you say any of these? I corrected my wife last night. Oh, really? What did she say? She adds a T on the end of addict. An addict. She'll say addict instead of addict. You know, like your addict. Yeah, in your house? Yeah. Oh! She'll add a T on the end of it. Like an addict? Yeah, she'll say addict. Like I gotta go put a box in the addict? Yeah. And I'll be like, is it addicted to drugs or something? Is it addicted to boxes? It can't stop eating those boxes. Oh, that's cute. It can't stop taking my things. 570-1053. Do you have any of these? Are there some of these that you do? 570-1053.
Or text us 35253 if there's this stupid stuff that you hear from people or that you say and it isn't a word. My dad does it all the time too. His is more like he just doesn't get it. Like American online. I don't even know if that's even in the same category. These are more of those words, I guess, that you think that's what it is. I thought it was stalled. You're cute. Which one? What one? Like having mices run around. Exactly. Exactly like that. Here's a text. My mother-in-law always says somewheres. And it drives me nuts. For example, somewhere special you would like to go? As a question. Always never changes. So 570-1053, Texas 35253. Line 1, P1 Conspiracy Theory. Are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. Well, in the little circle of smart people in the world, we let people say dumb things because we like to laugh at the end of the day. Because we enjoy it. That is true. That is true. But we do it. Yeah. Do you know anybody that does any of those? Yes. What is it? We let them go on their little day thinking they just said a big word.
Do you have one specific? Do you have one specific? Yeah, my wife. What does she say? She says school instead of school. She says stole instead of, you know, I mean, just some weird things. Let me take. Thank you, brother. Let me take line five. P1 Amanda. Amanda, are you there? Hi, Amanda. I say button. Have you bought in the house lately? Bought in. Bought in. Let's see. That's a good one. Skye. I'm going to start using these. No. Yeah. What do you call it? No, Mike. I don't want to. I want you to answer. I don't want to play. Hang on a minute. Hey, you hang on a minute. I just got a text that I don't know if this person's even right, Skye. Let's see if they're right. I hate this person.
What is it called if a woman goes to Nordstrom, she buys an outfit? What is that stuff called if she wants a little extras to go along with it, like bracelets and stuff like that? What are those? What are those? Let me think. I know what word you're referring to. Starts with an A. Sometimes mess it up. Starts with an A. Mess that up? Accessories? No, Sky. No. It is not accessories. No. No, Sky. Accessories. What is it? It's accessories. Accessories. But it's spelled with an A. Well, yes, it is. It's not an E. No. It would be an E if it was an accessory. She doesn't even know. She is a clown. She doesn't even get what you guys are explaining to her. It's accessories. Like with an X? Okay. Oh, no. Line five. You guys don't get it. Hi, P1 moron. How are you, man? I'm doing good. How about yourself? Good. Now, you called yourself P1 moron. I want the world to know that. I didn't call you that. Yeah, yeah, it's true. My wife's always correcting me on everything I do. So, I understand you use a lot of plurals.
Yeah, I used to say deers, and I'd put an S at the end of it, but I found out deer is plural for deers. So, yeah, that made me feel like a moron, like always, whenever I'm talking with her. Look at all the gooses. All the gooses, too, yes, that was a big one. All the mouses. You just, you just, you can't tell. What's so wrong about putting an S at the end of everything? I say keep doing it. Some people are really nice about it. Some people don't correct you. They just let you do it. Yeah, they should. You know what? Let me look like an idiot. I like to anyway. Hey, listen. Ashley's boyfriend waited a long time before he ever said to her, please stop it. He was having fun, Mike. Come on. Is that what was going on? He was having a good time, maybe. My wife tells me right away. Put me down, but it's cool. Oh, my God. Put me down? She likes to help. Yeah, it's cool, though. It's cool. She's trying to help. Line four is P1, Cynthia. Cynthia, are you there? Yes. Go ahead. I say butcept as in except for this. Instead, I'll say it, butcept, and I understand how you're supposed to say it, which is for some reason when I speak, I say butcept. You say butcept? Yes, butcept.
Now, that one I never heard in my life. Oh, wow. Okay. And also, irregardless is a word. Thank you. Irregardless is not a word. Thank you very much. Scientist debating is over. No. It is a word. Not a word. Thank you very much. Cease. I get a question. Hold on, hold on. Go ahead. Nobody's ever said anything about this. And Sky, I love you to death. Don't you don't. I love you to death. You love to make fun of me and you love to laugh at me. This is going to be bad. No, it's not. But. It is. When a band goes around the country and plays a lot of concerts, what is that called? They tour. Does anybody notice that she says to-er? You are unbelievable. Out of all the people who pronounce things weird. Wow, Sky, I am so sorry. Hey, Rob, when you are having a bunch of people over and you want to give everybody a glass of water, what do you put the water in? I think I know what she's getting at. Okay, how about I have a camera? What am I doing? Taking a picture. Taking a picture. A picture. Now, that's what you put water in. You put water in a picture. I'm not playing this game anymore. I'll get it. Exactly. What's the meal before? Brunch. I love it. I'm not playing that. Got to take a break. We got to take a quick time out. Don't go anywhere when we come back.
Oh, we got a lot more. When we come back, I got to read you this email, man. What do you think about somebody that would go to a high school reunion and not take their spouse? What do you think about that? Now, hang on, Eddie. Before you give Sky a hard time. Well, she did that, Mike. And not like that. Oh, it was like it. We'll find out when we come back if it was like that at all. 570-1053. We'll read you this email when we come back. It's a Mikey show. It's Rock 105.3. Uh, Mikey? Hello? Our phone number is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. We're getting some pretty good ones from people saying, yeah, my wife or my husband or my boyfriend or my girlfriend says this and the word is actually this. How about some of these? Ashley's boyfriend is like blowing up the phone. That's right. He's putting together a list. Okay, Mark, enough. We got it. We get it. We know. We work with her every day. It's so tough, you guys, because, like, he's so much smarter than me. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. He's like the Pope. I love him so much. He's so smart, you know. He's like the Pope. Pope's like this mother's dad, right? You guys don't even know. He got a 1480 on his SATs. Okay. Want to know what I got? Not that. Wow. Ashley, what did you get? I got a 1070. I have no idea what that... You beat her? Oh, yeah. I have no idea what that is. I wish I had taken the SAT. Don't you get a thousand just for signing your name right? That's right. Probably. I think so. Just for showing up. Just for showing up. Mike, I even did like the... I paid like 350... My parents paid like 350 bucks for me to go through this SAT.
class course, like, to help me, like, and still. Well, you're on the dean's list at SDSU. Hey, I mean, I had, like, a 3-4, like, a 3-3 and a 10-70, and I got into SDSU. Let me tell you something. For those of you that don't, that want to say that Ashley is an airhead, her brother goes to Harvard, you know. Well, he did, yeah. Now he's in med school, so. How about that? Here's some of the texts that we're getting. Mikey, my wife says milk instead of milk. I hate that. That is the correct way to say it. She says pillow instead of pillow. Me too. This girl gets it. My father says wash instead of wash. Who added the R in wash? How did that ever happen? Where is that from? I think it's a Midwest thing because my dad used to do it a lot. Really? I had an uncle that did it. I like that one. This one says, my husband says extension cord instead of extension cord. That drives me nuts. Rob just said expresso instead of espresso. He's like, yeah, don't you get it faster? Yeah. What did Rob say earlier? Vigilante or something like that. Oh, that's right. Vigilante. Vigilante. Vigilante.
Yeah, Rob, he does have a lot of them. Yeah, he does. He's a smart kid, but he has a lot of those. Rebecca said that she has a friend that gets very frustrated. Oh, yeah. I hate that. No R. No R. They're not frustrated. They're frustrated. Yeah. No. This text says, Mikey, my girlfriend says Kazebo. Kazebo. Instead of what? Oh, wow. She's the best. Line three is P1 Bass Assassin. You got a driver's license? Bass Assassin. What's up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? I've been saying forever, sandwich. You don't do that as a joke? You really thought it was sandwich? If I ask my wife, can you make me a sandwich for lunch? And you were not just being cute like you thought that's what the word was? That's what I thought it is. You didn't realize it was sandwich? Nope.
Sandwich. Where'd you grow up? Here in San Diego. There you go. I am so sorry that the public school system has failed you. Thank you for the call. And Mikey, I hate to burst your bubble, but we've been getting calls and emails that irregardless is in the dictionary. It's not. Check. I'll look. I'm going to look right now. I have a dictionary right here on my computer. I have a built-in dictionary. Irregardless. Uh-oh. No, it's a word. If it is, that picked me off because Sean said it wasn't and I've been correcting myself ever since. I never said it wasn't a word. I said it was incorrect. The usage was incorrect. Oh, the usage. Okay. It says origin, early 20th century, probably a blend of irrespective and regardless. Yep. Usage.
Irregardless with its illogical negative prefix is widely heard perhaps arising under the influence of such perfectly correct forms as irrespective. Irregardless is avoided by careful users of English. That's not me. Says use regardless to mean without regard or consideration or nevertheless I go walking every day regardless. Of season or weather. I don't think you should use it. I think it's a bad idea. Bad idea to use it. Do you use irregardless? Yes. Because I use regardless all the time. I like some of my favorite words. Regardless is a good word. Yeah, it's a great word. Line four is P1. Thomas? You there, Thomas? Yep. Go ahead. When people say height, it's pronounced height. What do you mean? Give it to me in a sentence what they say. Oh, you know, I'm talking about the person's height.
It's height. I've never heard somebody say that. What did you say? I'm afraid of heights. He would say I'm afraid of heights. Not heights. I think he's trying to say T-H. Oh, T-H. T-H. Yeah. I've never heard anybody say that. I haven't either. I haven't either. All the time. Ah. Thank you very much. No problem. Line one is P1 T-Rav. T-Rav, you there? What's going on, man? What's going on, dude? I got a buddy who's notorious for messing everything up. His name's Guy, and we know him by Guy Bonics because he messes everything up. Guy Bonics. That's funny. We're on the freeway driving, and you know you have the junction going through a different freeway. Right. He says, we got to hit that conjunction. And we're like, Junction, Junction, what's up again? Right, that's what we were just doing. Thank you very much. Did he fall down? Thank you. Line six. P1 Bond. Hey, Mike, how's it going? Pretty good. I'm sure you guys have heard this one. My grandpa, when he wants his bag, he calls it his bag. Bag?
Yeah, get my bag. Oh, that sounds like an accent. Yeah. No, not really, because he's not from the south either. He's Michigan. You ever drop kick him when he does that? I want to. Wait, listen. I'll have one more for you guys. Go ahead. They replace the D on the end of stupid with a T and call it stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Yeah, I've heard that. How about these people that put a... a G on the end of stuff. So if they say long, they say long-ga. Have you ever heard that one? When they say long-ga. Long-ga. That's called pronouncing the word. It's like over-pronouncing. Really over-pronouncing. They take that real serious. You take the G very seriously. Very seriously. You're the pronouncer bouncer. You're the over-pronouncer of the world. People in the Midwest will say set instead of sit. They will say they're going to set around. And this one's a little bit different. How about the East Coast thing where people say that they stand on line instead of standing in line? They stand on line. Oh, dude, let me tell you, that is an East Coast thing that I can't stand. Really? They should be deported. Line five? Playful Will, are you there? Yes, sir. What's going on? I just was calling because Sky all morning has been pronouncing Halep.
Jalapeno with an I. It's jalapeno. That is true. That is true. Everyone know what I meant, dude. I did it. You were confused. We're both right. Line one is P1 Encinitas. P1 Encinitas, what's up, man? Yeah, my buddy says Wattweiler instead of Rottweiler. I have heard that. I have heard that. I have heard that. I've heard Wattweiler. It's ridiculous. It is ridiculous. Thank you for the phone call. Let's see. Let me read you this email. I want to see what you guys think of this email. Mikey, wanted to get your guys' take on something that has been really bugging me. I tried to act like it didn't bug me, but it does. My husband is going to Riverside on Friday for his 20th high school reunion, and he doesn't want me to go. I told him I would go.
But he says that I won't know anyone and I won't have any fun. Well, the more I think about it, the more and more I feel like he just doesn't want me there. Do you think I should be upset or am I just being insecure? That's P1 Katie. And no, listen, I think it's fair. It sounds like the guy is, you know, like Sky. He wanted to flirt. There's nothing wrong with that. who's all safe there in his house. Okay. Okay, yeah. Say that in the studio, bro. Yeah, yeah. I'll get it on you right now. Come on. Now there's... Give a little punch in the stitch. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on.
Hang on. That was not my deal, Mike. I don't know. Listen, this guy, he wants to go there. He didn't want her to go. This guy went to her high school reunion. She didn't want her hubby to go. I didn't say I didn't want him to go. You want a flat little solo? Let the girls use the room, you know what I mean? Up on the solo car. Check me out over here. I never said I didn't want him to go. Get a load of these fellas. Everyone remember me? I guess those 10 years have treated these pretty well, haven't they? I know I was busy in high school, boys, but... Stop it. Not true. Not true at all. Eddie, she was 11. No. No. That was a good girl. You stop it. Sky, go ahead. Explain yourself so we can tear it apart. So why did your husband not go to your high school reunion with you? So it was kind of an informal high school reunion. Oh, informal. By informal, I mean a lot of hot guys. Informal meaning less clothes. Yes, blacks, right? By informal, I mean African-American. Yes. What?
Anyway, it was on like a Saturday, and my hubby and I are both from the San Francisco Bay Area. My husband is allergic to Saturdays. Shut up, you jerk. So we're both from the San Francisco Bay Area, so we went up there, and it was just for a weekend. It was a quick little trip. And so I knew that his friends wanted to get together with him. And so I said, well, you were doing him a favor. Basically, he could have gone with me and hung out with strangers and been ignored all night or else he could hang out with his friends. What do you mean that's his duty? It's kind of your duty to go with your spouse to the high school reunion. I don't think so. I don't think so at all. Really, nobody asked, hey, where's your husband? Well, people asked. Everybody probably asked, where's your husband? But he would have been coming out of his skin. Eddie, can I tell you what it sounded like? Yeah. Hey, baby, what's going on? Where's your husband? That's not what it sounded like. He couldn't make it tonight. Yeah, right, baby. Yes, he...
He passed away. He accidentally died. Anyway. So he took that night to hang out with his friends and then I hung out with my old friends. This guy, wouldn't you want to take him to show him off? I'd love to show him off, but we know that the bunny boo doesn't really like strangers, doesn't like crowds. He would have been coming out of his skin. We also know that when I go out, I dress him up if you know what I mean. Listen, listen. We know I like to have a couple of cocktails. I'm being giving to you. Go have fun. By the way, could you zip me up back here? Or not. So it's nothing like the email you just... It's nothing like the email you had. Please. Please. 570. Thank you. 570-1053. Have you ever had your spouse, you know, be so giving to you that they say you could go do something else on the night of the high school reunion? Or have you ever gone to the high school reunion and you've said to your spouse, why don't you, you know, take the night to yourself? Take the night off. Take the night off. I do that with work.
functions, too, you know? He doesn't, like, know anybody, you know? He doesn't know us at all. I do it with work functions where Channel 933, a Gem, and Z90 are going to be there. Let's be honest. You do not want a medal yet. I know it. It's so sweet. You're being amazing. Sweetest and giving-est. Best wife ever. Thank you. It's getting hot in here. So hot. So take off all your clothes. Me best! Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. Let's see. Line one is P1 Cloud9's Angel. Isn't that sweet? Hi, P1 Cloud9's Angel. I'm doing very well. I wanted to make a comment about that whole reunion thing. My husband is in the military. He's in the Navy, and he didn't want me to go to his functions because he didn't want me to.
hear all the stories that came along with his ventures. Ah, yes. I don't want you to know what I've done. Right, right. It's not necessarily a selfish thing. No, no, no. That's a good tactic. Because what you do is you make it seem like you're actually being, you know, honest about it. And that makes it seem... Oh, I get... He is a good guy. A little baby angel. Yes, a little baby angel. That's right. Her virgin ears can't hear such stories. Yes, yes. You shan't hear such a thing. It will change your image of me. Protect me, please. Yes. I shan't have you hear such things. All right. Thank you for the call, P1Cloud9's Angel. Has anybody else been in this circumstance? 5701053 or text us at 35253. Hey, listen. I honestly think it's harmless. I mean it. I think it's harmless. What are you going to do? I think it's sketchy. Listen, it's not sketchy. Except for Sky's situation, but I think it could be sketchy.
She is the best. She is the best. She's the best. But in other situations, Mike, when you think it's... Little mama, how you doing, beautiful? Oh, hey, beautiful. Hey, how you doing? Where's your husband? How you doing tonight? Little mama, how you doing, beautiful? Hey, little mama, where you been the last 10 years of my life reunion, lady? How you doing? What's your name? Where'd you get hoo-ha from? That's right. Sounds sketchy, man. Line three is P1 Drew. Drew, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Hey, go ahead. What'd you tell your wife? Well, it was my girlfriend, real serious girlfriend. My 10-year high school reunion, I told her that she couldn't go. And the reason why is because I wanted to knock off the kids that I couldn't close in high school. Whoa! Okay, well, that's different than me. Okay, well. That is not what I was thinking. The honest approach, apparently. Yeah. Little mama, how you doing, beautiful? Hey, let's see. Yeah, baby, you can't go with me to the high school reunion. Why not, dear? Well, I want to knock off all the girls I couldn't knock off in high school. See, I got to finish the checklist. That's right. I got to finish what I never started. I'm only on cue. That's right. Wow. Well, what did she? She broke up with you, right? Did she break up with you? Heck no. Explain to me, Drew. Explain to me, Drew. Drew. What?
Why would a woman accept that? How did she accept that? How did you get her to accept that? Okay, it was timing. We got into the fight. I went to the reunion and came home. Nothing happened. Quote, unquote. Quote, unquote. And boom goes the dynamite. And boom goes the dynamite, yeah. So wait a minute. So you're telling me, Drew, that you told her... before or after you went to the reunion that you wanted to hook up with girls? Okay. No, I didn't tell her what my intentions were. I just told her she couldn't go. Oh, okay. Okay. Right. I see. But your intention... So you're really a scumbag. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But your intention was that you did want to hook up with girls. Not hook up. Knock off. Knock off. Knock off. Yeah, yeah. I got you. You know what he means, Mike. Well, I mean, that's not very cool. That's not very cool. And this guy is, he is different. He's different from Skye. Skye just wanted to flirt. This guy wanted to hook up. And that is not right. That is not right what he did. That is not right. The line one. He's asking for it, Eddie. P1 Allie. Allie, are you there? Yeah. Go ahead. I haven't been to my high school reunion yet, but...
I was, like, really a major slut in high school. Yes. All right. Wow. Honesty? Honesty. And what high school is this? Okay, wait a second. Awesome. Hold up. Wait a minute. Okay. I think I know her. Oh, this is weird. I know that I'm 22, so. So is Zach. Zach is 23. Zach is 23. I want to bring my husband with me because I want to show people, like, how much I've changed since high school. Right, right. I can't control my horny level. I'm married. I'm Christian. Like, I totally... It's changed. You're a different person. And so I wanted to show, I would want to show people like, you know, how much I've changed and like brag about that instead of like wanting my husband not to come and like reminisce about the old times that I don't even, you know, that I'm like almost embarrassed about, you know? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I get what you're saying. I understand. Well, thank you for the call. No problem. I appreciate it. This text message says, Mikey, you are totally wrong about Sky and the high school reunion. Thank you. For instance, she takes her husband to everything. She took him to the Roman omen function. Oh, wait. No, she didn't.
Actually, she didn't, Mike. I thought she did. Maybe you don't remember. I thought she took him to the Roman Obes. She knew that he wouldn't know anybody. Oh, that's what she said about the high school reunion. That's what she said about that. So I wouldn't want to subject him to that. A private party with Roman Open. I see. Why would he want to go there with other chargers around him? Right. Of course. That wouldn't be right, Skye. You're an angel. Again, you're welcome. Thank you. We take a quick time out. When we come back, we got more for you. When we come back, we're going to do something called the YouTube clip of the day. Don't go anywhere. It's a Mikey show. What's a P1? Hey, check this out. Offers from those other dealers. But then, Jane went to Mossy Toyota in Pacific Beach. And Mossy Toyota made it happen. What a deal. Looking for a Corolla? Come to Mossy Toyota on Mission Bay Drive in Pacific Beach. You can get 0% APR on a new 09 Corolla Matrix hatchback. This Corolla comes with auto, AC, and an EPA estimated 31 MPG freeway. Or buy this new 09 Corolla for only $16,995. Now back to the Mikey Show. A very enlightened. Mikey. Yeah, I don't like the dark. Eddie. I've had a goatee now going on about 13 years. Sky. You know me. Life of like a 65-year-old woman. Sean. I'm a germaphobe. Enjoy listening to jazz music. And Ashley. Due to my care, I'm extremely prone to self-inflicting injury. He shows on. Cock 105.3.
It's the Mikey Show. It is 8-29. It was announced yesterday that Jay Leno's last tonight show will be on Friday, May the 29th. The Bears and Brian Urlacher have reached terms on a new deal. Welcome back. It is the Mikey Show. Have you guys heard about this big federal mortgage, or this big mortgage giant in the United States called Fannie Mae? That's the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever heard. What, just the name? Well, I just can't believe that people actually put their money into something called Fannie Mae. It's a big mortgage company that I'd never heard of until all this stuff started happening, you know, like with the economy going into the toilet. I use Rudy Tootie. You use Rudy Tootie? They're a great Rudy Tootie. They're way better. Well respected. I mean, if I had a choice between Rudy Tootie and Fannie Mae, I might go Rudy Tootie. F-A-N-N-I-E. M-A-E. Fannie Mae. That's the worst. Freddie Mac isn't much better. Serious. That's the other one. Freddie Mac. It's Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. They're costing the government $25 billion to rescue those two.
Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Really? Congressional Budget Office on Tuesday estimated that a government plan to stabilize mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could cost the government coffers an average of $25 billion. Should I just write you a check? Yes. I'll go through my pocketbook and see if I've got that laying around. 24, 25. Yeah, here we go. There you are. I have billion dollar bills flying around. That's right. I hope it's okay. They're big bills. I hope you're all right with that. One billion dollar bill. Two billion dollar bill. A three billion dollar bill. There's no such thing. Oh my goodness. Let's see. Who's sitting in the big boy chair? Zeth is? Otsie.
Zeth, hit me that open for the YouTube clip of the day. Now it's time for the YouTube clip of the day. Now, Eddie introduced me to him. His name is Andrew Zimmern. Oh, yeah. Bizarre Foods. That's right. The Bizarre Foods guy. This was pretty gross. Cut 28. The crickets are prepared here adobo style. which means they're first stir-fried, then sautéed with onions, garlic, and tomatoes, finished off with vinegar and soy sauce. Let's see what everybody loves about these. These crickets themselves taste most like cooked cucumber. They have a very, very... I gotta tell you, these little guys are good. That is so foul. See, I would eat bugs. Eddie! Dude! What? Everybody that's ever eaten them that I see on these shows, they say they would taste good. I would eat them. Oh, stop. Crickets? Yeah. They're like oozy, Eddie. Well, I mean, if they're cooked, I don't want to eat them, you know. You would eat fried cricket? Absolutely. Like a chocolate-covered cricket? Come on. Absolutely. Cricket adobo. Cricket adobo. What's that, a little spicy? A little spice to it? A little bit, yeah. We'll have to get some. I'm sure we can find some. I'll eat them. Okay. I'm not even a little bit nervous.
No way. I wouldn't get anywhere near that. Hey, this should be fun. It's a clip of Miley Cyrus from Good Morning America yesterday. Try to count how many times she says the phrase you know or like. Oh, no. She's asked what her life is like being famous again. How many times do you notice the word you know and like? Cut nine. What's it like being you? Everyone wants to get a little glimpse on... what it must be like to be you right now. It's weird because I feel very normal and feel very, you know, just like... That is a 49-year-old woman. I mean, seriously. It's really, you know, the thing is, is that I am, you know, at a point in my career... Really, I'm at a point where I'm just feeling... Thanks for asking, Robin. Yes! It's actually a very good question. Yeah. Thank you for asking that.
Well, she's a great big fat person. I think I know who Fred Brink of Brimble was. Unpause. I feel very, you know, just like a normal teenager. But then when I go out and about, I'm like, okay, like, I'm not. in this normal life, you know? It's not a normal world, and so sometimes when, you know, I'm like, oh, I want to go to the mall, or this and that, and, you know, I'm thinking I'm totally going to be fine, just be able to shop around, it's like, okay, I'm not a normal teenager, you know, and my experience is, it'll be really funny when I'm laughing with my friends, they're all like, okay, you're totally on a different planet, because we'll be talking, you know, and I'm like, oh, I bet that's how school is, and, you know, this and that, and they're like, oh my gosh, it's, like, totally different, it is not, like, all happy, it's Miley, it's, you know, probably much harder than your job, you know, what you do, Miley, and so finally, I don't... I don't know if I could go back to a normal life. I think it would be too hard. That is almost a trip to listen to. I counted. How many did you get? 11 likes. I got 12. And 9 you knows. Wow. It was coming quick. It was coming quick. Yeah, they were all over the place. What's so strange about it is that it really plays tricks into your mind. Because you're hearing the voice of a 49-year-old man. But you're hearing a teenager talk.
Clearly, with the likes and the you knows and all that stuff. She really does sound grounded, though. It's kind of crazy. Yeah, she does. She definitely does. Considering she's a billionaire. Miss Universe, 2008. On stage. Again. Her name is Dana Mendoza. She's got to work on the walking. It's so weird, too, because isn't that a big part of it, you know? Yeah. That's a big part of life. Yeah, yeah. The whole graceful thing and all that stuff. But she was Miss Venezuela 2007. Dayana Mendoza. And here she is talking about tripping. Cut 20. Now, there was a moment. You look beautiful. That was the gown portion of the ceremony. But you followed Miss USA. And once again, this year, the accident, she fell on the runway. This time it was Crystal Stewart. That must have been hard for you to watch. And then you know you're coming out.
afterwards. Did you talk to her after? I haven't talked to her. She's not at home. She's traveling still in Asia. As you understand, we live together and we share the apartment with this teen too. It doesn't matter how she felt. The best thing is how she clapped herself and how she understood that we're human beings. Come on, that's what happens to everybody. I could listen to that all day. Let's see. Milka Duno. And Danica Patrick are race car drivers. Yes. They got into a fight. Oh, snap. Dude, she fights everybody. Who, Danica? Yeah. You think she's overcompensating? Absolutely. She's like, I got to show everybody, you know, how I can be a girl in a guy's sport. Like, and, you know, I'll urinate standing up and I'll fight with everybody. You know what I mean? Cut 18. Barbecue when I was growing up. I mean, it all sounded like.
fighting and everything. That's so annoying. Eddie, when are you going to see Dark Knight? That is a far out question there, Miguel. That is a far out question. I have to make time this weekend to go. I don't know how. Do you have time? No, but I have to see it. I'm not like Sean. I'm going to go and see it. I like to see movies that are important. Thank you for saying that. That's important that you said that. I'll probably go this weekend. Probably. What, unless Wally's in a double feature or something? Yeah, no kidding. I already saw it. Let's see. Eddie, you get your DirecTV in yet? Oh, no, Mike. Oh, maybe that was not a good question. What is happening? Yeah, what's going on? Listen, they came out the Thursday we went on vacation. That was like a week and a half ago, two weeks ago. And my house is one of those houses that's pre-wired for cable. Right. And, well, it's not perfect for satellite. So, you know, the guy came out and they said, well, you know, we're going to have to drill all these holes. You're going to have wires all over your house. He goes, but there's this switch that they have now where they can hook it up to your cable wires and it'll come out your outlet boxes now and we won't have to drill. And I'm like, dude, that's perfect. He goes, but I don't have that equipment, so you'll have to reschedule it. And I said, all right, you know, it sounds worth it. That's fine. I'm going on vacation anyway. No big deal.
It was rescheduled for yesterday. Dude comes out yesterday, has no idea what I was talking about. It was like, what switch are you talking? Like, what? Like, huh? Who told you that? That's not, you know, I don't know. Isn't that the worst, man? I can't do that, dude. I was so mad. I was so mad. Isn't it terrible when you talk to a company and they say something will happen? And this has happened to every one of us listening. Every single one of us listening has had that experience where somebody tells you something and the same company comes out and goes, Who told you? You told me. You guys told me this. And so I ended up having to call DirecTV, which on a Monday is not a good thing. Ended up spending three hours on the phone trying to get this worked out. And guess what? It's not worked out even now. I'm in limbo right now and still don't know if they're coming back, if it's going to get fixed. No clue right now. That stuff drives me nuts, man. It sucks, man. And I'm missing Big Brother. It's like the worst. I know they want to talk to you about so many TV shows. It's driving me crazy. You know what I want to talk about? What TV show I want to talk about? A TV show I've never heard of called The Wendy Williams Show. What the heck is that? I've never heard of that.
Anybody ever heard of the Wendy Williams show? No clue. Yeah. Sky, tell everybody what happened on the Wendy Williams show. Oh, really, Sean? You think you know what it is? Yeah. Right. Okay. So, we all know Omarosa from The Apprentice. You remember? She is a little... I thought that that was orange juice with champagne in it. No, that's a... Mamosa. Oh, I gotcha. This is Omarosa. Gotcha. Yeah, she's on The First Apprentice. Which is a mimosa on the rocks. They call it an amarosa. Well, they put a strawberry in it. The strawberry in it, right? And she was also on The Celebrity Apprentice. And she has a mouth on her. She is a little bit of a diva, if you will. Probably could use some other words to describe her, but we'll just stick with diva for now. So, yeah, so she goes on the Wendy Williams show, and she walks out and starts off by saying how she was upset with Wendy's introduction of her and that she would not be disrespected at one point. We got audio of it, by the way. Oh, okay. That'll be better. Let's just hear it. Cut 16. I'm sure that there's some interesting morsels that we can pick up from the book. I mean, this is not my approach.
This might not be your approach, you know, the Omarosa way. I feel like in many ways you are the stereotypical angry black woman that white America looks at us as. I would rather be ABW, angry black woman, than a buffoon. Well, no, that's true. I would rather be ABW than a buffoon. That's true. And the truth of the matter is I don't ever. But when black women in the workplace tend to speak up, they instantly say, oh, she's angry. I'm not angry. I ain't pissed off about nothing. I'm young. I'm educated. I'm successful. And I represent my community. And I represent my community well. I give back more to my community than anybody that I know. So if that's being ABW, you're reinforcing stereotypes. And that's important for you not to do. No, I see. Because you don't know me. You really don't. It's not exactly a type of... Reinforcing stereotypes is not good. You're not my type, Omarosa. I'm not... Congratulations. I applaud that. I applaud that. But don't be fake. Because what happens is you have guests on your show and then you go on your radio show and talk smack instead of doing it while they're sitting on the couch. I'm doing it right here. So that's, you know, I don't have to be your type. But let me be very clear.
need to do this show and go on my radio show and talk about anything. But you've been doing it. You've been having people on and then you've been talking smack. I have? The bottom line is, my book comes out in the fall. Buy it if you want to. Don't if you don't. Watch it if you want to. Don't if you don't. Gosh. Girl, don't even play. Yeah. Homie, don't play that. What are you talking about? What? Well, this is Barbara. Yeah. And what are you? I hope you know this. I am a... Full-time Barack Obama supporter and a full-time black woman. Now you're full-time doing both things. Full-time black Obama supporter and full-time black woman. Barack Obama, I support him a lot, and I'm also a full-time black woman. I spend a lot of time doing both. Okay. Aren't you just one? I mean, you just are. Right. I am one and the same, Eddie. You're not even black. Yeah, thank you. That's a good point.
Listen, boo, don't make me... Just because you say words doesn't... I can relate to both of these points of view. Really? Well, yes. As a black woman, I can relate. And as a buffoon, I can relate. A lot of people are not willing to be honest enough to say, hey, I'm a buffoon and I'm proud of it. And I am a buffoon. Do you know what you're even saying? Let me tell you something. Are you on meds? Yeah, seriously. Is she okay? Barbara. Barbara? Oh, no. We lost her. Barbara. Wake up, Barbara. Barbara? Hello. Okay. Who's this? The Mikey Show, you called us. Oh, my goodness, Eddie. I'm so glad you called. No, I did not. I don't even have your number. Well, the reason that I was calling, why was I? Can I ask you guys a question? Sure. On this topic, since we're talking about it.
Forget it. One quick question before I go. Okay. Yeah, exactly. You've already fell asleep. Let me tell you something, Eddie. You be ill and I be straight chilling and that's why I roll. You're not the brightest thing I've ever heard anybody say. You can hang in my hood, bro. I gotta go. What? What? She's something else, I tell you. She is something else. She does two things full time. Gosh, I love her. Does she get the concept? A big screw. Quick time out. Don't go anywhere. Let's take a quick time out. And when we come back, I'm going to be telling you all about that Santee kid that I didn't get to tell you about before. I wanted to...

Radio host Michael Savage is under fire for saying that kids with autism are really just brats. The Padres rally in the ninth and end their sixth game losing streak beating the Reds 6-4 yesterday. I think that one of my new favorite things is listening to Boston Rob listening to the different music beds that he'll use coming in and out of commercials. You guys hear him as he's listening to those? Can you guys hear him or no?
No. I guess it's because they're coming through the line here that I'm listening to the radio station back with. Yeah. Sean, you hear him too, right? Yeah, yeah. Because it comes through the chat thing. And I could tell that there's a lot of them that Rob just doesn't know. Yeah. And so I started hitting him with the IMs going, oh, I want to hear that. That most beautiful girl in the world song. It's the first one. It reminds me of when I was five. Shut up. Brings back every memory ever. I like that song about the most beautiful girl in the world. Sky, have you ever heard this before? Prince does a better one. Is this Mac Davis? Charlie Rich. Charlie Rich. Thank you, Seth. Sky just didn't know the good stuff, man. That's very true. That's my problem. Sky, tell us about this 14-year-old pellet gun sleepover. Oh, man. Okay, so a 14-year-old boy was sleeping over at a friend's house, and they're in Santee. And I guess at about 4 o'clock in the morning, they were up shooting with a pellet rifle at empty milk jugs. They say that the other people in the house, I'm assuming the adults, were asleep at the time. So, I don't know, whatever. Don't judge. I am judging.
What are you saying, Skye? What kind of parents are in charge of supervising another child? You never did any shenanigans when you had sleepovers? And they're shooting off guns and it's like acceptable. One or two times I walked down the stairs naked. What's the big deal? I was sleepwalking, Mike. And it wasn't naked. I was topless. Thank you. But anyway, so they're shooting the milk jugs, and I guess according to them, the pellet rifle accidentally went off, striking this 14-year-old boy in the face. The pellet pierced his left eye and then got lodged in the top of his spinal column. So he is currently suffering paralysis on the left side of his body. No way. Doctors say that he is expected to survive and say he'll need physical therapy and hopefully should be able to regain full use of his body through physical therapy. Pray for that guy if you pray. That's terrible, man. Yeah, but as a parent, how upset are you at the other parents?
That's just me. I'm upset. Eddie's shaking his head no. It sucks, but what could they have done? They could have been aware that the children were out of the house. They were asleep. And they didn't hear the gun going off? Pelicans don't make noise. Pelicans don't make noise. They're not like shotguns. But not only that, but let's say they did hear it. By that time, it's already gone off. By that time, it's been changed. Well, no, because they were first shooting at the empty milk jugs. Oh, I see what you're saying. They were playing around, and then the gun somehow accidentally shot one of the kids in the face. They probably have permission at 14 years old to be playing with the pellet gun. At 4 a.m.? Yeah, at 4 a.m. they don't. Well, but when you have sleepovers, you get into, you know, shenanigans. Yeah, and that's the thing. They're doing the shenanigans and nobody knows. They're asleep. They don't know. You know who knows, Mike, is that 14-year-old. And unfortunately, he learned the hard way. Wait a second. Skye, you're the parent of the kid that got shot. I'm the parent whose house it was over at. Skye, I am so sorry. I can't believe that this happened. We were asleep and it happened. But how did the kids get out of the house?
I don't know. I guess they walked out of the house. They have legs. They woke up in the middle of the night and they must have started playing. Well, I'm just really upset because I trusted my child in your care and my child can just wander out of your home at any time without your knowledge. We don't keep the doors bolted shut from the outside to keep us in so they're able to get out and we were asleep. We didn't know that they woke up. I grew up in a home where you could not. You snuck out into a New Kids on the Block thing to try and meet Joe McIntyre. But you also, Sky, you also went to Santa Cruz with your friends. That was during the day. Sky, don't you have... Okay, so that's even more to your point. That happened in broad daylight.
Imagine what could happen. Going to Santa Cruz is equivalent to shooting someone in the face. You weren't supposed to. You weren't supposed to. You were doing something you weren't supposed to do. Obviously, it was an accident. People could say, where were your parents? How did you end up in Santa Cruz? Where were your parents? All I know is I trusted my child in your care, and my child is running around at 4 o'clock in the morning playing with guns under your care. The kid is 14 at your home. It's your kid. With your kid's gun. I feel terrible about this. I feel terrible. Your kid should know better, Skye, than to play with Pelican. 14. Take responsibility. But it's your kid's gun. Take responsibility. It's your kid's gun. Say no. My kid knows. My kid knows the rules. Say no to hanging out with your delinquent child. No, no, no. Say no to hanging out with your delinquent friend. Who is your child? Whoever the child is that isn't your child. Ashley doesn't understand. Can you give up Mike Hemless? Skye's kid. Well, I'm going to explain, though. You don't understand. See, Skye's kid's the one that got shot by my kid. I understand that. Yeah, your kid is the one playing with guns at 4 o'clock in the morning, and my kid was there. Okay, me and you are married, Ash. Me and you are married. Yeah, Mike. Get it, Mike. C.P.R. C.P.R. C.P.R. C.P.R. C.P.R. You guys are ridiculous. We're going to be four years old around this place. Tell us about your wedding night, dude. Okay.
That was a little. All right. Now, Ash, darling. Yes? You're not helping because, you see, we feel terrible that our kid, Boobsula, shot... Okay, we are not naming our kid that. That's his nickname, Boobsula. That is a weird... Listen, we went to bed and we, you know, we're strict around here. We went to bed. And we told the kids to go to bed, the kids we thought had gone to bed. Maybe if the Marvin Gaye wasn't cranked so loud. Don't come a-knockin'. You people are ridiculous. How many compressions to one breath? It was your kid that talked my kid into it, by the way. Your kid's fine. Fine. I just think that those parents are not at fault, man. I mean, now they're supposed to know. I agree with you, Mike. Thank you. That's why you're married. That's why we got married here. And that's why we did not get married. Sky has new releases that are going to be coming out in stores today. I do. I do. I blame you for this. What?
What do you have, Sky? Okay, new video games out today. We have 1942 Joint Strike for PS3 and Xbox 360. 1842. No, I said 19. For the PS3. Will you give me a break today? It's a game where the pilgrims come to America. And everybody wins. They're both right. Whatever. That sounds fun. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Pause, pause, pause. Sorry, I just got an instant message from our girl Ashley. Oh no. She forgot to put the songs up. Eddie, take it easy. Listen. Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. Eddie's the executive producer. Eddie's the executive producer. Ashley's the assistant producer. And it is her job to get these songs that Sky is about to announce up on, you know, to be played as the little clips of the songs. Now, every week, there seems to be a problem. And Eddie gets very upset with her. He says, it's your job. This is what you, you know, how do you not remember to do this? Hey, Rob, you notice that Rob is not making fun of her at all right now? Hey, man, that's stressful. That's stressful. Let me tell you. If you need me to do anything, let me know. That can be stressful, man. I know. Eddie's giving me the break sign. There we go. Eddie's giving me the break sign. He's saying... Can I finish the TV show? He says we need to take a break, though. Hey, listen. How do you like this? This is an actual email that I received that says, Mikey... Thank you for constantly talking about AIS. I had 21st century just for myself and my car and was paying $200 every six months. Now, again, this is a single person that was paying $200 every six months before switching to AIS. Then she goes on to say, my husband and I went to AIS in Escondido and Manny and Michael hooked us up with insurance. Both of us, both cars, a little under. $300 every six months. So it went from $200 for one person for six months to just under $300 for two people. We got a discount for paying it all at once, and the next six months will be even less. I'm talking about AIS.
With gas prices as high as they are, you don't need to be spending more money on insurance. AISinsurance.com, 1-800-777-4AIS. Call them right now. Tell them Mikey told you to call. What's wrong jukebox in just a little bit, but Sky's going to finish up those new releases. And I believe Ashley is 100% ready to go now. And so Sky... What do you got? Okay, new CDs out today. We have the new one from Miley Cyrus called Breakout. I thought there was already Avril Lavigne. Yeah, this is Miley Cyrus being angry and rebel. Seriously, I mean, dude, that is clearly Avril Lavigne. That's out today, Miley's second self-titled, or her second album. It's actually my third. I did one, though, that was a demo that not a lot of people know about.
Yeah, it's actually my third. You can, I mean, if you want to, I mean, commercially, yes, it is my second. Okay. Also out today, we have Nine Inch Nails with. Todd Berger producing on that one. I just want to say. Shout out to him in Hollywood and all the people that are listening right now at stake. I just want to say. Nine Inch Nails with the slip. They should get sued by Nine Inch Nails. Sounds just like Nine Inch Nails. Sued by Trent Reznor. Yeah, for sure. Trent Reznor should sue them and go, you sound just like Nine Inch Nails. Okay. Thank you. Also today, we have David Bowie live in Santa Monica, 1972. Wally of Wally World is rushing to the record store. Because in my head, I was like, okay, who's the consumer? Who is this? Oh, it's Wally from Wally World. Right. I got it.
And then finally today, we have Black Sabbath with the Rules of Hell. It's a five-CD box set with a complete D.O.-fronted catalog. Oh, wow. That's a catchy ditty. Ozzy recorded that at nine years old, which is really weird. You listen to it back and you go out. It's really true. Young talent. Yeah. Those are the new releases today. It was on Star Search. That's right. Him and Brittany. He actually lost to Sinbad. Oh, no. And back. Then he came back and he did really good. So it was wonderful. I'm glad. We're going to do, in just a little bit, we're going to do Woosh Rock Cheap. I promise we are. But I want to get this story out because I want to know about it. There's a documentary filmmaker that's offering Eminem and Kid Rock a million dollars to do a rap battle. Yeah. He's offering a million bucks to charity, right? Yeah. Basically, the winner would get a million dollars donated to charity in their name.
How do you have a rap battle? I've been in so many of those. Okay. People would videotape me. And I would get in rap battles. Let's do it right now. Me and you. It's like hardcore. Why are you ignoring it? Mike just threw down a challenge. Well, I'm not prepared, but okay. Really, really? Well, I am, girl. I can throw it down any time. I can throw it down right now. I'm not scared of you. I'll flow all over you, girl. Someone's got to throw down a beat. I will flow up all over you. I'm going to flow right now, girl. You ready for this? Break me off. Check this out. And a two, two, three said, my name is Mikey and I live under the bridge. I feel my life is full and this is how I live. Break it off. Say. Not doing that with his mouth. I just won. I think I just won. Congratulations. No, don't give up. Go. Come on. Give me another one and Ashley's going to flow. Come on. Let's do it. Oh, my gosh. See, that was my hardcore Cypress. I mean, honestly. Thank you. Thank you. Ashley's feeling it.
Oh, her pits are so sweaty right now. That's for sure. Turn me up in your headphones, yeah. I don't know how to really flow like this. I like more of a beat. I like to not cheat. I like to keep it not weak. Because my shoe, ooh, met you with some flow. You didn't know. Yeah, I shake my rump. Because I got some African-American up in my blood with me. Who's coming? Rob, who's coming? I'm not. Anybody? That was a little shaky. That was really bad. That wasn't bad. That was bad, actually. That's what I meant to say. That's actually what I meant to say. This guy is doing a documentary called...
Rap Therapy, which chronicles his efforts to use hip-hop and rap to help steer teens away from gangs and drugs and violence. So he has like 50 Cent, Diddy, Fergie in the documentary just like commenting and stuff. But he really wants this rap battle between Eminem and Kid Rock with a million bucks going to charity. Whoa, what is this? No more Ebert and Roper? Yeah, I know. What is up? It's a tough day, Mike. Nope. Well, it's only been like two years, Eddie. We're still adjusting to him not being on the show. But the show's still called Ebert. Ebert and Ropers. Ebert. So basically, Ebert hasn't been on the show for the past two years, but he was still under contract. Oh, God, stop eating! Oh, Sean, that's messed up. That is all jacked up, man. That is totally jacked up. Oh, inappropriate. Well, you did it, man. Yeah, you played it. But, you know, Ebert's name was still on the show. Ebert. And then, I guess, Roper was in contract negotiations, and they just couldn't get
to work out, so Roper is leaving, and with Ebert out on sick leave, it basically... So the show's done. No more. Sorry, everyone. Well... Have you guys heard about the man in San Luis Obispo that's just been sentenced for setting his friend's crotch on fire after a night of drinking? It happens. Why would you do that to your friend? Why wouldn't you? Come on, dude. I'm mad I didn't think of it first. I know. Well, I mean, fun is fun, but I mean, the crotch fires are terrible. It's a terrible thing to do to your friend, you know. It's just like buddies. Now, Mike is familiar with San Luis Obispo. He worked in Slowtown. He worked and lived there for a while, so they were drinking it up. Well, lived in Shell Beach, worked in Slow. Okay. Well, they were boozing it up on Grover Beach, Mike. Oh, my crotch. And it was three dudes and one of the guys. Is this near? Is this far? One of the guys passed out from drinking on the beach. And that's when his buddies thought it would be funny to pour cologne on his crotch and then set it on fire.
The guy had to go to the hospital with second-degree burns on his testicles. I'm just saying. Not so funny now. I'm being medical. Melts in your mouth, not in your pants. So one of the guys who was a parolee was sentenced to two years in prison, and the other guy got 45 days in jail. What a dumb guy. It takes brass balls. It's worth it. That is not a nice thing to do. Not a nice thing to do. But it happens. Hey, ball breaker! Oh, yeah. I don't know. Oh, boy. What? Oh, hey, guys. It's Dr. Wade. Why are you calling here? Oh, hi, guys. I'm a local chiropractor here in the area, and I also do Swedish deep tissue massage as well.
Well, no, I do the Swedish massage and deep tissue. Right, let's get that straight. Hey, guys, it's nice to be on the show. I was just calling in because, you know, that's something that I have done before. I've lit many a guy's crotch on fire. What? Why are you admitting that? I'm only saying that I did that because I want to defend these guys that sometimes are just trying to have a little fun and things get carried away before you know it. Hey, hello, hot crotch. Well, how did it go down in your case, Dr. Wayne? But, you know, this is indicative of the younger people. A lot of times the younger generation, and what I'm talking about is these guys in their young 20s, you know, guys like, well, Zep. You know, Zep does crazy stuff like this because he's a young guy. You do, Zep? He does. He tries to have these funds, these sheen-ans, as Ashley said earlier. Shenanies, Dr. Wayne. The shenanies. And sometimes, you know, things get carried away. I just wanted to let you know, Zep. If you ever do something stupid like that, I'm also a volunteer firefighter. You are? I know a lot about extinguishing fires and putting out fires. Thank you for the offer. I'm not offering anything. I'm just telling you I'm a volunteer firefighter. So, Dr. Wayne, what you're saying is if Zeth's crotch is on fire, you would put it out. I am saying that I am a volunteer firefighter who is very familiar.
with how to put fires out. That's all I'm trying to tell you. You're trying to make it into something gay or something. We weren't even accusing you of that. No, no one even said that. I know how to put fires out. What you do is you've got to pat them out like a patty cake. You do like a patty cake type of thing. I don't think that's how you would put out a fire. No, it is. You go over there and you go, hey, pat, pat. Pat, pat, pat, pat, pat. It's pretty awkward, Dr. Wayne. They put out the fire. Hey, Dr. Wayne, I think Zest's crotch is kind of smoky. No, it's not. It's not. It's good. All set. I'm making jokes over there. I can tell I'm trying to be serious around here. Oh, I didn't realize. Yeah, our bad. Zest, do you get the orchids? Orchids? Okay, gotta go. Thanks for... My wife here wants to make out. Gotta go. Did you get orchids? He has a nutcase. Orchids? Did he send you some orchids, Seth? Maybe they're at the front desk. That's gorgeous. We gotta take a quick time out. Promise when we come back we'll do some Wuss Rock. Don't you go anywhere, you. Don't go anywhere.

When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air...
Air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Mikey. I'm a strange guy. Strange person. Eddie. I once... Chad Johnson said he'll report on time for the Cincinnati Bengals training camp next weekend, but his surgically repaired ankle will probably prevent him from fully participating. You know, when you think about it, football's pretty soon. Dude, it's right around the corner. Can you believe that? Yeah, training camp starts on Thursday. Oh, are you serious? That snuck right up on us. That's crazy. Okay, so would you like to know how long Amy Winehouse's boyfriend, or excuse me, husband, has been sentenced to jail? How long, Sky? 27 months. Oh, wow. That's a long time. Just over two years. Now, he's already been locked up for nine months.
Now this all goes back to 2006 when he got involved in a bar fight and assaulted somebody and then went back to the guy and offered him $400,000 to keep quiet. So he was charged with assault and then also obstructing justice. So like I said, he's already done about nine months. So he could be free as early as December because once you get to the halfway mark of your sentence, they'll reevaluate it. But his full sentence is 27 months. Oh, my. Yeah, it's no joke. When I was coming home yesterday from getting that iPhone, I knew that whatever was going on was going to make the news. And apparently it was a 12-acre brush fire in Encinitas. Oh, yeah. I saw all these fire helicopters. In fact, they were even landing one in a golf course. It started with a guy's crotch. It started with a guy's crotch. It does happen. Hey, ball breaker.
Go ahead. Well, the fire broke out about 1.20 yesterday afternoon just south of Lucadia Boulevard at the El Camino. They were fighting it all day, and at a certain point, there were a couple houses that were even threatened. Like Mikey said, it burned about 12 acres and wasn't put out until about 9 o'clock last night. Oh, wow. Yeah. That's a lot of area. Yes. You know what I'm saying? A lot of area. A lot of area going on right there. A lot of area. I was thinking, why don't we do... A little bit of this right here. I'm a big fan of ham. You mean there's pork in this ham? You had me at ham. The ham version. That's right. That's the ham mix. The ham adventure. Well, the way that you do this Wuss Rock jukebox, only guys can play the Wuss Rock jukebox. The idea of it is you call us right now at 570-1053, and we are going to play a Wuss Rock song on the phone for you. Now, what is a Wuss Rock song?
It's any song that they play on Kixie. You know what I'm saying? Any song they play on Kixie. Well, sure, it's all the love songs. Yeah, what's rock songs? Now, the thing that makes it fun is it's only guys that get to play. So we'll play the clip, then the clip will abruptly stop, and you just take over singing. There's only a couple of rules here. The first rule is you cannot say, I couldn't hear it. Thank you. You can't say that. If you do, you're immediately out. That's right. First of all, you're lying. Second of all, you're out. Set a steak knife. So, you can't do that. The other thing that you cannot do is you cannot just go, I don't know the words to this song. You need to sing something. Yeah, make it funny. Yeah, be creative. Come up with something. Sing something to the tune of the song.
Second prize is a set of steak nuts. Thank you. And as long as you can do that, you will win. Eddie, what is the prize today? We have tickets to see Stone Temple Pilots. Wow. They're back together. Yeah, they are. Did you know that? Yeah, they are. I did not. Awesome. Now, check this out. You are going to be, we have three judges. The judges are Eddie, Sky, and Sean. And so they're going to judge how well you do, how effeminate do you sound. Let's go to line three. It's someone that you may be familiar with. His name is P1 Buckley. Oh, just give him the prize now. He sings like an angel. He wins. Buckley, how are you today? I'm doing good. I missed you guys so much when you were gone. Oh, well, we are back, bro. We are back. Nice. Are you ready to do this, Buckley? You got it. I had the big pride weekend, so I'm ready to go. There you go. Well, you know the rules, bro. Here it goes.
without you. I was doing... Hey, sing the gays on your own time. Unnecessary, Mike. I actually exist in the song, man. I thought you did a good job, Mike. Thank you. Thank you, Sean. Thank you. Thank you. Let's go now to our judges, please. Eddie. Well, give me a break. I mean, this guy is going to be in the Hall of Fame. Because of his ability in Wuss Rock Jukebox, he is the best. He was the Grand Marshal at the parade this past weekend. Buckley, you're a genius, buddy. I think we can now make it official that Buckley is the queen of Wuss Rock Jukebox. So congratulations. Sean.
Yeah, I mean, it's obvious to me that you intentionally lit your crotch on fire just to see if Dr. Wayne would pat it out. That's true. Thank you, Buckley. Hang on the line, please. You're going to see the Stone Temple Pilots. On line four is P1 Hot Carl. Hi, Hot Carl. Hey. How are you, Hot Carl? Well, it's another exciting day. There you go. There you go. You ever played Wuss Rock Jukebox before? Many times. All right. Let's give it a try here. Here's your song. I can't. Oh, wow. I can't hear it. Eddie wins. Eddie, you want to comment on this? I can. I mean, you know, I sat down with Hot Carl expecting to, you know, really enjoy the music. You know, we had a whole discussion.
about Wham and George Michael, and he didn't even know the other guy in Wham was Andrew Ridgely, so clearly not gay. Yes! I can't follow that, so I'm just going to say he was horrible, so you suck. Cold Carl. I hate to have to even do this, but he deserves it, Mike. Sean? Unleash the beast. I hope you get... Tell him, Sean! Yeah. Liquid spine. Is that even real? Are any of them? Excuse me. Super droopy butt cheeks. See what I mean? A bad case of kangaroo face. And inflexible thumbs. You suck. Those are some weird things. Sorry, Hot Carl.
All that, the guy's name was Hot Carl. This is what we do for a living. Enjoy. Line five is P1 Ender. Good morning, Mikey Show. Good morning to you, sir. How are you? I'm fabulous. Listen, that's a good word to use. Hopefully you know what you're doing here because you're having to follow Hot Carl and he did not do good at all. I think he's cold turkey. There you go. I don't know what that means. Here we go, P1 Ender. Here's your song. gonna never know me all right now was the gay squeak at the end of the song enough to save him let's go to our judges eddie oh wow that was uh something else listen mike uh i realize that it's legal here in california now but that doesn't mean you just all willy-nilly think you can just go get hitched okay i
I want to be with somebody who really knows this stuff, and it clearly wasn't Ender, and so I've got to say thumbs down. Let's go to our only female judge on the panel, Skye. Skye! Well, at first, I didn't recognize Ender. Until he finished up his song with that little squeak at the end. And then I realized that he's the same guy who showed up at the Jacuzzi Club thinking it was a bathhouse. But then I had to tell him it wasn't. It wasn't. It wasn't a bathhouse. He was in the wrong place. But obviously he's gay. So I think he's good to go. Oh. Nice. He was looking for the bathhouse. But he was in the wrong place. He was at the Jacuzzi Club. And I had to send him to say no. There's no such thing. You're at the wrong place. Actually, you were both in a gay bathhouse. And finally, Sean, what did you make of it? You know what, dude? I hope you get Iron Hand Syndrome, wiggly colonitis, chapped legs, and flaccid eyebrows. That's definitely a no. Two no votes. And sorry, you lose. We have one final contestant this morning.
On line one, let's talk to P1 Tony. Hi, Tony. Good morning, Mikey Sue. Oh, well, good to you, sir. We are playing Wuss Rock Jukebox. The way that it goes is we're going to play a little clip of a real Wuss Rock song, and we're going to cut it off abruptly. You take over singing. Here we go. Mikey Sue. He reminds me of a huge bowl of some whipped cream that I wish I could just dive right in. Please enjoy Sean right now. Sean looks like a serial killer at a German factory. He's just a regular, average, everyday serial killer working at a German factory, and he's upset. Wow. Listen.
I know you tried to romance me with that song, and it almost worked. Almost. But, you know, you're going to have to bring more lumber to the yard than that, buddy, because I love the wood. Okay, Eddie loves the wood. We've established that. Just for this game. Oh, just right now. Let's be clear. Okay, good. I don't want anyone being confused. No emails. Don't want it to be weird. Definitely not. Don't want that. Yeah, I always appreciate kissing up to the judges. But in this case, I was not included in any of your lyrics. So, therefore, I'm sorry. You're horrendous. And finally, Sean. I'm sure he's going to love it. I didn't love it. Really? I didn't love it. In fact...
I hope you get jerk mouth, jerk lips, jerk vocal cords, jerk face, and head cancer. You suck, dude. You jerk. Okay, well, thanks for playing, and we're going to take a time out. That was really a lot of fun. I'm recovering from that one, buddy. Have fun with that one in your nightmares. Going to take a quick time out. Don't go anywhere. When we come back, I will tell you about Tropical Storm Dolly. How do you like that? Back after this. I want to let you guys know how much I really appreciate your show. I try to catch every minute. And you go, hey, how are you at KIOZ San Diego? And you say hit it, you know? Hit it. That's what you want to say. Yes, I'm on the phone. For goodness sake, is that crazy, crazy thing you didn't expect. Hey, so the FCC threw out the FCC fines against CBS for the Janet Jackson boob thing. Dude, that's crazy. The wardrobe malfunction? Yeah, so it went to a federal appeals court, and the court ruled yesterday...
that the FCC had acted arbitrarily and capriciously in its fines against CBS for Janet Jackson's breast. I love that, with the tomato, the mozzarella, and basil. Oh, dude, it's so good, especially with the garlic. It's real garlicky. It's my favorite thing. I love that capricious salad. Salad farm. Really, really toast. Good dance. So the FCC had fined CBS $550,000 for the Janet Jackson boob incident. That's not fair. And yesterday a federal appeals court, you know, threw it out, basically saying that the FCC can't act all willy-nilly and decide sometimes to enforce things and sometimes not to enforce things. Oh, I love it. And so now CBS is off the hook. Yeah, I think that's fair. I didn't think it was fair that they should be on the hook because she was a dumbo. Right. And that was a Dumbo thing to do. Well, I think it was an accident. You do not. You guys don't know it was an accident? You believe she intentionally wanted to show her breasts? That was the way the whole thing was made, man. Did you ever see Skye the up-close piercing around her nipple? Yeah, women have their nipples pierced. But it was like a star piercing, like a jewel. She said she wears that. Yeah, but the boob was like breakaway. Dude.
Well, the top layer was supposed to be breakaway, but not the bottom layer. And they said they had practiced it. If the bottom layer wasn't breakaway, then how did her breasts pop out? So what is her motivation for doing that? To be scandalous. In fact, when she did do it, she had like a move that was like, I'm embarrassed. Oh. It was like this whole... Well, because that was supposed to be the move, but her breast wasn't supposed to be... It was like her bra that was supposed to be exposed. Sky, if that was the case, then wouldn't she have had a sports bra on or something and not a perfectly jeweled star-pacing? Does Pergi dance in a sports bra? No. You were literally born yesterday. Nobody performed yesterday. Sky's birthday is July 21st. If my breasts looked like that, I would not want all of America seeing it. No. Janet Jackson has... I remember walking in... Well, I don't think... To be honest, I don't think 90% of the women would want their breasts shown. But I literally... I will never forget one time walking into Tower Records back in the day when this happened, and Janet Jackson had a poster of her where she was in jeans only, and a guy was behind her cupping each breast with his hands, and that was the poster.
Well, yeah. She's totally okay with that. But don't you guys remember? Well, no, if she was okay with it, it would have been a topless poster of her. Wait, wait, wait. Don't you remember that when this happened, Timberlake, it was only exposed for like a millisecond. Right. And then Timberlake did his choreographed, oh my gosh. And that's what I'm saying. It was planned. Like, it was planned for her bra to be exposed, for her to do the I'm embarrassed pose, for Timberlake to do the oh my gosh, look at her pose. But what wasn't expected was the whole breasticle. Yeah, because all those bras that just pop open like that all the time. Well, that's my thing. If your idea, if the idea is... I've had a bra pop open. Guys. The little front claspy was. Are you that desperate to win an argument? Is that a cup just pop off? Are you that desperate to win an argument? It perfectly popped open. Dude, you guys can believe whatever you want. I'm just telling you that I really believe that was an accident. I do not believe that that was planned by any way.
That's like burning bridges. That's embarrassing yourself. You have to realize the climate back then was not like it is now. No, she didn't think everyone was going to freak out. She thought that she could go on the Super Bowl and expose her breasts and that would be okay. She thought that she could go on the Super Bowl. She thought she could go on the Super Bowl, expose her breasts for a millisecond, have Justin Timberlake put his hand over it, and then they pass it off as it's like a publicity stunt. Like it's an accident when they knew it was actually real the whole time. My thinking is you never, ever, ever plan to have your bra show and it doesn't happen that way. It would happen that way. What wouldn't happen that way is like booby flying out. Booby don't fly out unless you plan booby to fly out. You just happen to have that gigantic crazy piercing. Exactly. Come on. I disagree. Oh, that was the other thing, Skye. She thought that that big old thing on her nipple would act like a pasty. No, that thing, no. Look at that thing.
No, that thing is ridiculous. Yeah, exactly. That's our point. She thought it would be like a pasty. Look how perfect in place. It was so perfectly in place. The clasp, the buttons. Come on. It's not like she's rocking that in her day-to-day life. It's on there for an occasion. Well, yeah, it was a special occasion. She was performing. I'm not believing the obvious. That's fine. We agree to disagree, but you're not changing my opinion. We will change it eventually. You will not. I don't believe in common sense, Mike. No. I don't believe in common sense because the truth is I was born July 21st, 08. Yes. I believe whatever Janet says. She's my guru. Yes, I believe in Janet Jackson. I love Janet. Actually, I just believe in whatever's opposite of you. What did you say? Yes. Well, that's so funny, Sean. I don't remember what Skye said directly after the Super Bowl happened. Was she saying that? I don't know. I don't think so. I thought she was with all of us. She was. She flip-flops. You're a flip-flopper. I will not shut up. You wear flip-flops. I do. How come people don't call them flip-flops? When did they go from being flip-flops to sandals? I call them flip-flops. Not very many people do, man.
I want to bring back the flip-flop movement because not a lot of people do. I think people are ashamed of flip-flop. I actually call them flippies. I call them floppers. You do not. That's what you called the Janet Jackson incident. That is true. That was not a boating accident. Oh, please. Goodness sake. Let's see. What else we got? Wrap it up here in a minute. Leno's last night on The Tonight Show has been announced. Yep, it'll be Friday, May the 29th. And then Conan will start on that following Monday, June the 1st. NBC is trying. Yes, 2009. Yeah, because we've already passed May and June of this year. I didn't know if it was 2010. Because I didn't know if it was 2010. I didn't know. She's cool. She's really a cool person. She is really a cool person. Good friend. She does, man. NBC is trying to support her so much. Did you just hear the last five minutes? That's a lie. You do not support her, Mike. Right in the stitch, dude. Let's be honest, it goes both ways. So NBC is trying to keep Leno with the network. Oh, you're such a cassass. NBC is trying to keep Leno with the network, but Leno has hinted that he's ready to jump ship to another network. So we'll see. Why? I don't know.
Isn't he rich? Why would he even want him? I read an interview with him where he was talking about what am I going to do? Lay out by my pool? He's like, I don't enjoy that. That's boring. Why did he announce his retirement? I don't know. He's done. People do weird things. Like expose your breast. Like saying you're retiring when you're not. Sky, you stop hurting people right this second. That was a direct shot at your friend, Eddie. What? I'm just saying, people say things and then they go back on them. That was really horrible. What's wrong with that? People do that. I'm glad he's coming back. Well, that's cool. I think it'd be neat to see Leno on another network. You're stupid. Wow. You got me there. You got me there. I don't even know how to recover now. Who's Ryan Adams? Summer 69. You're something else. You gotta screw loose. I know, it's loose. Anyway, Courtney Love blogged about Ryan Adams. Yeah, he's like an alternative rock dude. What'd she say about him?
She basically, in her blog, accused him of stealing more than $800,000 from a trust fund that's set up for Frances Bean, you know, her daughter, her and Kurt Cobain's daughter, saying that Ryan Adams used credit cards that drew from the fund to spend over $850,000 on his 2003 album entitled Rock and Roll. But she didn't offer any details on how he was able to get the money. No, that's Brian. I can't believe he would do this. No, again, we're talking about Ryan. These are just accusations. Never trust a Canadian. That's true. No, these are just accusations. I can't believe he did that. We don't know if they're true. And nothing to do with Brian. I had a very unfortunate teenage acne problem. How about this one? What do you guys think of this tropical storm Dolly coming into Texas? Oh yeah, Mike, and I don't know if you've read the latest. She's got a big rack. That's not even like a storm reference. Not even a play on words at all. It's got big boobs. Yeah, so this morning when I was reading about it, they were talking about it being a tropical storm when it hits Texas. But now it looks like it will be a category one hurricane when it hits Texas. Probably.
Probably past gas. It's a category three for category one. That's nothing. That's like 75 miles per hour or something like that. Hey, listen, during the during the brush fires that we had in San Diego, 65 mile an hour winds. Big whoop out there in the ocean. Give me a break. Call me when you're over 100. Oh, my God. When the sky is raining. Like, no. Raining frogs? Yes. No, it's like pouring. It's like dumping. Actually, that would be black men, Mike. Shut up. Then call me. They said that they can get up to 20 inches of rain. So 20 inches of rain. 75 mile per hour winds. I don't want that. No, no, it's strong. What big city is it going to, they say? Well, they say that when it hits... It's going to the Twin Cities. That was kind of better because it was kind of clever. They say it's going to hit the Texas-Mexico border. So that's the big city. It's not headed to the Grand Tetons.
I didn't want to be serious with that one. Put it on the board. You can't really put that on the board. I already did. I didn't think you could get another one. I didn't think you could get another one in. Gosh, Ash put it up on the board. It really happened. She put it up there. I'm looking at our list. I think we're good to go. 570-1053. That's our phone number. Give us a call at the beginning and end of every show. We do open phones and you can call in about anything you want. It'd be really great. Sarah Jessica Parker is some caller SJP. Yep. She's got a reality show. What? It's been picked up by Bravo. That's crazy. There it is. Don't do it. My foot looks like a face. Thank you. Come on. Is it? Is it? I could wear a shoe on my head. Come on, what is it? Look at her. I saw her in Maxim. It scared me. She is gorgeous. Stop it. No, it's going to be called American Artist. And it will feature artists competing in different styles.
And they'll be judged by a panel of experts and someone will win something cool. So what does she do? I don't get it. The next foot face star. Well, she, like, created it. So I don't know if she's just a behind-the-scenes creator or if she's actually going to host it. America's next top foot face. But it's, like, artwork stuff. It's art. Different styles of art. I think that's cool. I'm into art. American artist rendition of a foot face. Rob! 570-1053. Well said. Yeah, very clever, Rob. I mean, what the heck? 570-1053 is the phone number. Survivor Footface. There we go. Oh, yeah. Big Brother Footface. Stupid. He's going to be doing this all day. It just works. It just works. Oh, just go with it. Try one. Try one, Ashley. 570-053. We got any lines lit up? Every one of them. All right, let's start taking some calls. Mikey Show, hello. Hello. Mikey Show, hello. I say... Gotta hit the button. I am hitting the button. Yes, I'm on the phone. Is the red light on? There, go. You're doing the open forums right now? Yes, we are. I wanted to ask Eddie about the whole Brett Favre deal. Yes.
Yeah, Eddie, what's up with that? What would you like to know? Like, what's your whole take on it? Or what's his whole take on it for, you know, him wanting to un-retire? I think that he's remained gorgeous throughout this whole ordeal. And rugged. First of all, ruggedly. You know, I think that it's a disappointing situation. I think that the Packers organization has really mishandled the situation. How, Eddie? Because I heard that too. What did they do wrong? They're not having conversations with Brett. I think Brett would have just wanted a conversation with them. And if they wanted to part ways after that, that's fine. Eddie, we've got to walk through this together. Okay. You've got to help me out with this. Yeah. Okay. They owe him a conversation. You don't think? I'm thinking about it and I'm going... He's the face of the organization. Not anymore. He's retired. But he doesn't want to be retired anymore. Then why did he retire? He made a mistake. He said he retired too early. Like, we've never heard this before? No athlete has ever retired and come back? Yeah, but we always make fun of him and say how white they are. Yeah, we do. We say I'm not retiring. Thank you. You graduated yesterday. I'm graduating today. What about Jordan? What about Jordan? Do you think he should have came back or just left it?
It's, you know, it's their prerogative. I mean, and if I'm the Bulls, I'm taking Michael Jordan back. True. Are you kidding me? There's just something about the whole, like. I don't want to see Brett Favre in another uniform. Do you? No. Dude, I don't want to see Brett Favre retire and then anybody. So you're saying you don't want to see Brett Favre play football anymore? I would love to, but if that's the case, don't retire. He made a mistake. Nobody else makes mistakes. Nope. No, you're right. See, that's where it gets me. That's where the argument gets me because everybody's allowed to make mistakes. You're right. It's just a large-scale mistake. It's a large-scale mistake. I'm not going to defend that. I don't like the fact that he retired and is coming back. I don't like it, but I also want to see him play football. He's a great player. But why would they owe it to him? If he's the one who said, later, I'm out. He brought him a Super Bowl championship. He's done everything. He's made that organization so much money. The city of Green Bay and the Packers want him to be a Packer. This is why.
I think the reason why is because remember when he... Brett has a history of, hey, what are we going to do in the draft here, Brett? What are you doing? Have you decided? Have you not decided? Putting him through that. Waiting until the last minute. Then what about the whole Aaron Rodgers aspect of it? If this poor kid, he's finally going to get to play some football. And Brett, no, you're not done? Is that... Come on. It's fine. Then release him. The Packers don't even want to do that. They're like, you know what? We don't want you to play for us, but we also don't want you to play for anybody else. So that's, you're basically saying, well, okay, you can't, but what is he supposed to do then? I don't get how that works. Where you get me, where you get me is the whole mistake thing. Like, dude, everybody makes mistakes. So I want to give him the benefit of the doubt of, he made a mistake. He wants to keep playing. This guy's a Hall of Fame quarterback, one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. If he wants to play another year, he deserves that right. I agree. And it should be for Green Bay. I mean, if you ask any Packer fan, do you want Brett Favre or do you want Aaron Rodgers? Who are they going to pick? Of course they're going to pick Brett. Of course. But he retired. And why not let that happen? He retired.
So let him unretire. Go take a nap. Sky, I want to know what you think about it because you clearly don't like that he's coming back. But why? You know what? I don't mind him coming back. What I think is kind of weak is the whole they owe him something. Well, dude, you're the one who told them later. So to me, you severed that relationship. Then release him. Then they don't really owe you anything. And I don't understand the whole release thing. Why are they not releasing him? Because they don't want him to play for anybody else. They don't want him to go beat them up. Minnesota is one of the teams that is interested in him. And they're in his division. Can you imagine Brett Favre taking on the Packers twice a year? And is that what his... Is his complaint twofold? One, they ignored me. Two, they won't release me. See, I bet it's the first one that really upsets me. Of course it does. That's what it really is. I think it is upsetting most people. Listen, he did something that most NFL fans can go, yeah, that sucks. You retired. Now you're coming back. It's annoying. But I think most people also go, well, dude, you're Brett Favre. You are the Packers. How do you not?
say, all right, let's at least talk about this. I mean, he's not even saying, yeah, you have to take me back. He's saying, let's talk about it. You don't even deserve a conversation? I mean, who does that hurt? This is where... I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. I'm kind of with Sky on this whole thing of like, I'm sure there must be in that Packer management place a lot of eye-rolling of like... I know what he's done for us, but can he please? Poor Aaron is out there throwing footballs right now. What are we going to do? Go out there and say, Aaron, we've got to talk to you, kid. Listen, you know how we changed everything and you're all excited. You told your whole family and we told the whole world you're going to start. Well, Brett's not done yet. He just decided he's not done. So can you move your stuff out of the locker? That's not even what I think is the wrong part.
To me, it's just if Brett calls and says, hey, look, I'm thinking about coming back. You don't say, OK, well, come in. Let's talk about it. And then tell him, look, we can't do this to Aaron Rodgers. So we'll give you your release. Why do you think, Eddie, why do you think they didn't talk to him? Is that real or is that a mistake? It is real. He was the general manager. did not take his phone call, would not speak to Brett. Wow. I mean, it's just crazy. I don't know if they just have a break. That's crazy. Like, why? I don't know. And does the general manager, has he commented on it? While I was on vacation, I didn't hear anything about it. Because that's what I'd wonder. I wonder if he's saying, listen, this whole thing, I would picture him saying, of course I would take his call. I don't know what he's talking about. Or if he's full on admitting, yeah, I didn't take his call. I don't owe him anything. I mean, I know that they made a statement saying that, you know, they're prepared to move on without Brett and play with Aaron as their quarterback. And, you know, that's the truth. And I also think he said that, you know, they also don't want to see Brett Favre play in another uniform. Let's see. Oh, yeah. Open phones. We're going to get out of here. I think Eddie's convinced me.
Line one is... I don't know. Anything else you want to talk about? No, no, it's fine, Chad. We're fine. We're fine. I'm pretty much done. That's it? Yes. Line one is P1 Quimby. Do you guys know P1 Quimby? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. What's up, Quimby? Well, I was just calling. So this season, I'm going to play fantasy football for the very first time. Oh, you're cute. And I was wondering if you men there on the show had any tips. Yeah, don't play. Yeah, don't do it. I have a legitimate tip. Eddie says don't play. Eddie is very against women playing fantasy football league. Unless they do their own little girly league, in which case he could care less. Well, they ruin it. They get bored and they don't end up playing, you know, the proper way. Now, I got a real tip for you. You mean like Seth and Rob do? But I'm smart. Quim kicked him out. Quim? Quimby, I have a legitimate... Save me money. ...tip for you. This is the mistake that women make when they play fantasy football.
They overcompensate. They try to be too smack talky. They try to be too, like, I could be one of the guys. I'm one of the guys. They try too hard. You know what I mean? Just chill out. And then by week 11, they get bored and don't even set their lineup. That's right. So here is, yeah, those are two good points. One, don't get bored. Stay in it the whole season. And the other thing is. Just make it easy and don't try too hard to be a guy. Don't try to be a guy too much. Just, you know, play and just play it cool. How should I, like, what's the best way to, like, pick? Oh, man, that upset Eddie. I can tell. Go to the magazine station. You just asked that question. You shouldn't be allowed to play. Quimby, you know better. Quim. Quim.
Just take a broom handle, spin it around, and wherever it lands... Pick that player. Sean, you're so stupid. Okay, he's a vacuum cleaner. Special of woodwork. Thank you, Quimby. Line three is our last call. Line three is P1 Odin. Last call. Bring us home. Yo, Eddie. What's up? Got a question about Anderson Silva. Do you think he should fight for the title against Forrest in his next fight? Um... I say yes. I think you should have fought him the first go around. I say yes, too. There you go. There you go. Everyone's all right. Bang. Ladies and gentlemen, the lovely and talented Missy is up next. And today on the Nooner, she has the all-request lunch hour. It's going to be a lot of fun. Tomorrow is Wednesday. And it should be a good one. We cannot wait to see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. So we'll do that.
Reconvene tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show is out late.
