Mikey and Eddie opened by arguing that Brett Favre was still a stronger quarterback than Aaron Rodgers, while conceding that Green Bay had moved on after Favre's retirement and failed comeback. Personal stories drove much of the show: Mikey endured a surprise stitch removal, Eddie discovered a game he had kept for four years, Sky defended traveling with King Plush, and the cast warned a marriage-shy caller not to buy a house with his girlfriend. The hosts also fought over hotel housekeeping, Barack Obama versus John McCain, and the simmering hostility between Ashley and Boston Rob before working through the coworkers' sarcastic messages on air. Other standout bits included Ashley's marshmallow contest, Old Man Baker's deranged gardening tips, Eddie's secret devotion to The Real World, and the report of a mountain lion dragging a Labrador from a Colorado bedroom.
What happened, in order
Favre as a displaced morning show
Mikey and the crew compared Brett Favre's attempted return to a retired radio host demanding his old slot back after the Packers had already committed to Aaron Rodgers.
The surprise stitch removal
Mikey described his doctor unexpectedly yanking and snipping fishing-line-like stitches from his chest, leaving painful little craters but no bleeding.
The four-year video-game loan
Eddie admitted he found Bromo's copy of the game XIII four years after borrowing it and debated whether returning it would be more embarrassing than keeping it.
A house without a marriage
A caller wanted to buy a house 50-50 with his girlfriend but feared marriage, prompting Mikey, Eddie, Sky, and Rob to argue that the legal and emotional commitment of a shared home already amounted to playing married.
King Plush goes to Denver
Sky confessed that she sleeps with a crane-machine teddy bear named King Plush and tucked him into her suitcase for the Denver trip despite knowing how odd it sounded at age 30.
The hotel-room cleaning war
Sky and Boston Rob refused daily housekeeping over waste and theft fears while Mikey and Eddie defended fresh sheets and towels, and a caller later said he caught a maid using his laptop.
Mommy's marshmallow showdown
After teasing Ashley for calling pizza and nine homemade cookies a diet, the show challenged listener Adrienne to eat more marshmallows than Ashley in 60 seconds for concert tickets.
Obama, McCain, and celebrity politics
Mikey and Sky sparred over Barack Obama's charisma and John McCain's policy reversals before playing Paris Hilton's satirical campaign response proposing limited drilling alongside clean-energy incentives.
Ashley and Rob's cold war
Mikey investigated the tension between Ashley and Boston Rob, read their prickly instant messages on air, and traced the fight to sarcasm, button-pushing, and Rob feeling disrespected.
Old Man Baker's garden advice
Old Man Baker answered Mikey's tomato question with increasingly absurd advice involving sucked-clean yogurt raisins, transmission fluid, poetry, and produce named after actresses.
Eddie's Real World secret
Eddie stunned his longtime friends by admitting he had secretly watched every season of The Real World because he enjoyed other people's televised messes.
Mountain lion in the bedroom
The crew reacted to a Colorado mountain lion dragging a 72-pound Labrador from a bedroom, after which wildlife officers used the dog's carcass to lure back and kill the cat.

It's 6-0-4. San Diego agents helped bust a massive ID theft ring that's accused of stealing and selling. And Brett Farr are going to part ways. And Coach Mike McCarthy met, and McCarthy says Brett wasn't prepared to return to the team. Brett could be traded as early as today to Tampa Bay. What does that mean? Yeah, what does that mean that Brett wasn't prepared to return to the team? Coach Mike McCarthy explains. Cut five. agreed to disagree we we stood on opposite sides of the fence on a number of issues and i respect the way he feels but the one thing that i that i was looking for out of that conversation was was was he ready committed to play football for the green bay packers and in his answer frankly throughout the conversation was he his mindset based on you know the things that happened throughout this whole course that that's not where he was
Let me explain. Come on. Let me explain. Imagine if we were at Rock 105, like we are, and we decide, you know what? We had a nice run, but we're going to call it quits, and that's going to be it. We're all going to become Forest Rangers. Yes. But then we change our mind, and we go, you know what, though? That's not right. We should still be on the air. We still want to do the show. But they put Budweiser in the morning show slot. It was Budweiser. You know, I mean, he's a great guy. I love that kid. But, I mean, give me a break. We've been doing this for a long time. I mean, it's our show. It's our spot. So we say, look, come on. Do you want Budweiser or do you want us? And they tell us, look, Budweiser is our new morning show. That's our guy. We've committed to him. We love you guys. You were number one for us for a long time, and you made us a lot of money, and you did a lot of good stuff for us. But we're committed to Budweiser. Now, you guys can be the new afternoon show producer. Are you guys all right with that? You guys can kick it and be the new afternoon show producer, and Budweiser will do the morning show. And that's, you know, is that okay with you guys? Okay, now.
Now, can I give my version of what that may sound like? All right. Here's how I think it might sound. All right. We're the morning show. We're on for years. We do a very good job. And then we call a press conference. And in a very dramatic, with pomp and circumstance, we give this big speech about how we have given our all to San Diego radio, but we just don't have it in our heart anymore. the desire to continue to be the morning show here anymore. And not only that, it's kind of time. Like you can see that a lot of time has gone by, even though we're still doing really good in the ratings. You can see that in our heart, because we've sort of intimated this before, it's time. So we go. And I would not say necessarily Budweiser, because I know that this Aaron Rodgers guy had a lot of promise.
They drafted him high and they thought that he was going to be the future. So I I don't know that I'd necessarily say it as like Budweiser. I would say that, you know, it was like fill in promising morning show here. You make the decision. You got the new morning and you're like teaching the morning show. OK, so morning show, new morning show. Here's how the station works. Here's how everything goes. And then the Mikey show goes. I changed my mind. I want to come back. And the radio station says, well, Mikey Show, what we can do is we can have you come back and we'll hire you back at the radio station. And if by any chance New Morning Show gets sick, you guys can fill in that day. That's what it would seem like to me. Because it seems like they wanted him to take backup role, right? Yeah. And he was like, no way. Well, you know, the bottom line is that the Packers didn't want Brett Favre back. They don't want him back. Did they offer him a ton of money? They offered him $20 million to stay retired. Wow. Are you kidding me? My God. Did they do that because it's like the $20 million? Oh, I want to work for the Packers. Yeah. Was that because they just didn't want the PR nightmare that's happening right now? Yes. $20 million to just go right off into the distance. Wow.
Over the span of like 10 years, we'll pay you $20 million, stay retired, and enjoy. And Brett wants to play football. And he's like, no. Can you imagine? Not only does he want to play, though, he wants to be the guy. I mean, he should be. He's still good. He's a Hall of Famer. I mean, can you imagine Brett Favre being a backup? No. Imagine Joe Montana. Being a backup or John Elway being a backup. That's ridiculous. He still played at a high level last year, right? He was a pro bowler. Yeah. I agree. I'm the MVP. Listen, I say you bring him back and you have him start. It's tough because... See, I always say this. In fact, I said this at Morning Show Boot Camp. We were talking about this. I said this at Morning Show Boot Camp that it's always, well, which is better?
You know, that's what we we had a decision to make one time many years ago with The Morning Show in terms of are we going to play music or are we not going to play music? So we had to make the decision. Well, is Hero of the Day by Metallica going to be a better choice than us doing our shtick? And we felt like us doing our shtick would be better for. The morning show for people listening in the morning. That maybe people listening in the midday, in the afternoon, at night and overnight, having some Metallica Hero of the Day sprinkled in would be the best choice. So it's all what's the best choice. I think Brett Favre is the better choice than Aaron Rodgers. But a nightmare. I think the big surprise for me out of all this is that in Green Bay, where Brett Favre was God. there's not a giant outpouring of fan support to say, yeah, we want Brett back. Like, what are you doing? And I think Brett expected that. Of course. I think Brett was like, you know what, I'm going to say I'm going to come back. The fans are going to freak out and all is going to be well. The Packers are going to be forced into taking me back. But the fans are kind of ambivalent. They're like, well, Brett, you retired. We're moving on to Aaron Rodgers. So what are you doing?
Why are you doing this to us? I heard that there was a rally for Brett in downtown Milwaukee. Take a guess how many people showed up. An actual guess? An actual guess. I would say that 10,000 people would show up to that. I'm going to say 300. No, dude. I would have said around 10,000. Easily. 100 people showed up. 100 people showed up. My jaw is dropped open right now. That was brutal. That tells you where it's at. As far as the Packers organization goes, the Packer fans, they don't want Brett. They're clearly saying, we don't want Brett. I'm not a part of that community. I just am a DJ here in San Diego, but that's how I feel. I personally feel like he's the better choice, but I also feel like... Dude, come on. Let's get on with it. You retired, bro. That was a mistake. It was a big mistake for him to have that press conference where he was bawling and crying. Remember that you started crying? Well, I mean, it was very difficult. It was a very difficult time. It was a difficult time for all of us, really. Now we remember. A hero rides off into the sunset. Because don't you think, Eddie, people, when that happened...
people in the community that do care more than we care they went through this emotional process of like oh it's over morning grieving morning it's over and then they like woke up and they were like okay new thing and on the news they were seeing you know Aaron Rodgers throwing the football and they were getting used to that and seeing that excited it's a whole new team it's a whole new leader right uh yeah And then he's like, just kidding. Yeah, I'm coming back. That's like if Manny at the end of this year, you know, he's going to be a free agent. Every time we've tried to come back to Boston, I'd be like, hey, I went through the heartbreak. Now I can't understand. You guys got to understand that. I don't understand that at all. Yeah, yeah. Now I don't get it. Now I can't get it. I went through the same thing with Manny Ramirez. Still getting over it. Let's be smart here now. Imagine if Tom Brady. Imagine if Tom Brady retires, comes back, Patriots don't want him, and he goes to Miami. That's what it is. Brett really wants to play in Minnesota, but Green Bay is like, dude, we play you twice a year. The first game of the year is against Minnesota where they were supposed to retire his jersey. Oh, no. It's off. It's off. And now this deal, I guess there's a deal that is going to possibly happen today where he's going to get traded.
The Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay. Brett. Number four. I think, unfortunately, this is going to have such a terrible impact on his legacy. Big time. Yeah. You know, I mean, if he somehow leads Tampa Bay to a Super Bowl and wins it, then everybody's going to be like, well, Packers, you were idiots. That could have been you. But chances of that happening are very, you know, I mean, the Bucs are okay. You know, I don't know how much Brett's going to do for him. I mean, you know, Jeff Garcia. Great Gilroy Mustang quarterback. Not necessary. He was a pro bowler last year, too. So they already have a good quarterback. In fact, they've got six quarterbacks on their roster. Tampa Bay is ridiculous. John Gruden, he collects quarterbacks like stamps. He's like a collector. It's unbelievable. They've got Chris Sims on that team still. They've got Tasha Garcia. A bunch of different guys that could start for them. And now they're going to have Brett, too.
That's weird. And how do you feel if you're Jeff Garcia? Oh, poor little redhead. Oh, man. He may be part of the deal. I don't know. Too bad. Let's give our phone number out for you. 570-1053. You want to text us? 35253. Let's take your calls. Introduction, too. There's seven of us. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 38 years old, and I don't have to wear that stupid surgical binder anymore. I went yesterday to the doctor. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Because I know before you'd set him on. No, no, no. He told me it's all right. Okay, good. So you're healing up all nice? Yep. Did you show him the fishing wire sticking out your side? Check this out. So I'm sitting there in jeans and a, like, a gown. So I got my jeans on and a gown, okay? And he opens the gown up, which made me feel a little gay.
Because he's like, you know, he opens the gown and spreads the gown open. And there's my, you know, exposed chest. Let's do an examination. Were you in stirrups? No, he did not tell me to scooch up. So there I am. And underneath my chest on each side are these holes. In the holes, you know, the holes are like scabs now. Okay. And underneath that is little fishing line sticking out. There's stitches in each hole. And without telling me. No, Mike. No, Mike. I will not hear this. And I'm not paying attention. Oh, yeah. I'm not paying attention. He takes a pair of metal, what looks like scissors. No, Mike. But they have a long, it's like long scissors. And on the end of the scissors are not scissors, like tweezers. Yeah, Mike.
Clamp almost? Those are hemostats, Mike. Hemostats? I don't like hemostats. Oh, look at you. Hemoglobins. Yep. So, and he, I'm not kidding you. This is what he's doing. Super cool doc. He's a super cool doc. And he's literally going. Just another day. And he pinches the fishing line. No, he doesn't. And pulls hard. Oh, gosh. Oh, wow. It comes out, and then he takes, and I didn't even know he had them, in his left hand, a pair of snippers and goes, and I went, and I went, ah. And he does this to me. He goes, ah, ah, ah, ah. As if to say, take it easy. Come on now. Come on. You're all right. You're all right. Oh, man. Holy dude. No warning. No topical. No, no. And it was so weird because it didn't bleed or anything. It just left a crater.
Just left a little crater. Didn't bleed. Didn't do anything. But it was, ooh, did that get smart. Smarts. Smarts. Wow. So there you go. Eddie is our producer and our sports guy. He's 35 years old. He's a homeowner. In fact, he's got a big house. Yeah, that's cool. It's big and nice. Awesome. Sky is our news girl. I like what she's got going on today. Thank you. Thank you. I shaved my legs in honor of the show today. You did? Yeah, well, I was wearing shorts, so I figured, okay, please. Getting yourself all gussied up for us. Please, after yesterday's fiasco. There it is. Sean, he shaved his legs for us, too. Oh, sexy. Well, he's a swimmer. That's right. So it's about aerodynamics. Just from the kneecaps up, though. Oh, kneecaps up, by the way. That is Sean. Cool designs. He is 38 and not in San Diego. He's in the Bay Area. So we look at him on a computer screen. Come down here. Our camera. There he is. Ashley's wearing yellow. I love that. It's for you, Mike. Thank you. She is our assistant producer. She's 25. She has blonde hair, tan skin, and she is a bit of an airhead. Oh, wow. Wow.
How do I say it, you know? No, no, no. Flighty. Flighty. Yeah. Have you guys seen the previews for this new movie coming out called House Bunny? Yes. What? Looks funny to me. Oh, yeah. Anna Faris. Yeah, she's funny. Never heard of her. What? The scary movies? That's what my sister-in-law said yesterday. She goes, come on, scary movie? Never heard of it. She was in, whatchamacallit, Lost in Translation. She played the Britney Spears type girl. Yeah. You know, that the dude was. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, that's her. That was her. Yeah. Wow. Well, she's in this new movie and it's a comedy and it looks funny. And it reminded me of our girl, Ash. She's funny, though. She's like Ashley. She's funny. Yeah. And the guy asked her, who'd you vote for? And she's like, I normally agree with Simon or Paul and Randy. She's like, oh, you're talking about.
My favorite part of the trailer is she's being introduced to all her new sorority sisters. And they're nerds. And she's going to turn them into hot chicks like her. And so she's being introduced and the girl goes, this is Natalie. And she goes, Natalie! And they go, this is... Sarah. And she goes, Sarah. And the girl goes, why are you doing that? And she's like, it's just a thing that I do to remember names. And they're like, this is Joanie. This is funny, man. Did you recognize one of the nerds? I wouldn't have believed it. Catherine McPhee. Are you serious? She's one of the nerds. That's crazy. Come on. They really disguised her real good because when they
You know, turn her pretty. She's going to look like Catherine. Well, yeah. I mean, when they showed them all pretty, they were like gorgeous. You know, they look like supermodels. So that's Ashley. And then there is Boston Rob. Speaking of supermodel. That's right. Oh, thank you. Good looking statement right there. What's up? That's right. Boston Rob is from Boston. How do you know that? You don't say. Well, because it's tattooed across his neck. Oh, wow. On his throat. On his throat. Yeah, in Old English, there's a tattoo that says Boston. Weird. So I don't forget. Yeah, that's right. Behind his ear, it says return to. It's hard to see that one, though. Just in case. Did he lose a bet or something? Why did he do that? He did it on purpose. Yeah, he did it on purpose. He didn't tell any of us he was going to do it. No way, Jose. He just came in one day, and there it was on his throat. Yeah, I was... Acting like nothing new today, guys. How are you guys? And Rob does a variety of things. He is a stunt kid. Is he, Eddie? We should probably make him do something. We should. He is a singer-songwriter. He does do that. He writes songs. He does songs. He sings them on the air. And he's very funny.
And he got this job by coming in third place in a contest to get hired. Yeah. That's how you have to do it. Top three. You took the words right out of my mouth. Yeah. I say third place and Eddie and Rob, they say top three. Yeah. Weird. So it's just a different way to look at it. You're both right. He missed it. That's right. That's all that matters. That's right. He made it. Here he is. That's right. I'm here. Here he is. And then finally, the seventh member of the Mikey show is Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates. The third. Junior. Esquire. M.D. Rosie. Rosie. And he is going to... Can I say the deal, Zethian? Can I say the deal that's going on with your other job? Yeah? He's not going to be working at the other job anymore. I heard about that. He wants to focus on this job. He is our... Him and... Rob switched roles. So he's a phone screener now. And it's a pretty important job. It's extremely important. And so he is going to focus on it. In fact, I got to sit down with him and really talk to him about how you do this phone screening thing. Because it isn't easy. It's a difficult job. It's not easy. And he's got to figure out how to do it perfectly. So we'll be focusing on that. And he's doing a good job so far.
570-1053 is our phone number. And our text number is 35253. And Rob is in charge of getting me your text messages. So send them. Text us and let us know what you're thinking. P1T Rex is on the line. Oh, no. Oh, wow. I screened him today, guys. He's good. Yeah, he's been screened. So what happened? You got the hacksaw. Hey, I just wanted to ask Eddie. Eddie, are you still into the Wipeout show? Yeah, I loved it. Watched it yesterday. It was the Wipeys where they had the awards for the best. Oh. Like different things that happened. What's Wipeout? Wipeout is like that show MXC where they do crazy like obstacle courses and things like that. You know, they have giant rubber balls and you try to jump over them and like, you know, you bounce and fly all over the place. Cool.
I mean, it's hysterical. It's pretty funny. Yeah, the face plants and things like that into mud. I mean, it's great. Awesome. Yeah. I think we should set a course up for B-Rob. Nice. You know, my wife said yesterday, Boston Rob should try out for that show. Yeah. Because she'd be hysterical on it. Yeah. You should, Rob. Yeah. Give it a shot. But, I mean, he is a stunt kid, and we don't do it very often, but maybe we should have him go through that obstacle course. It'd be cool. We can make mud. We're very agile. Are you? Oh, yes. You are? Extremely. Now, you've never beat Eddie in a competition. Yeah, but they were in agility competition. Eddie. Oh, boy, you did a slam dunk competition. That's agility. And I was on your tail the whole time. Dude, you are. You finished in the top two. Yeah, you did. T-Rex. Yeah. You had a moment yesterday. I was a little bit nervous to keep telling that story. At the end of the show yesterday... T-Rex was telling this story about him and his wife making love and handcuffs. It was so weird. It was just so strange. And what made it more strange was that he was telling the story so awkwardly. And I finally had to bail on it. I couldn't keep going with it. So I wanted to ask T-Rex what that was all about.
No, no, no, no, T-Rex. You misunderstood my question. T-Rex. No, T-Rex. No, T-Rex. No, bad T-Rex. No. I didn't mean... When I just said... When I just said what was going on, I didn't mean with the story. I meant with you telling it. Like, yeah, like, what was up with you calling the back? And you just wanted to share it with him? T-Rex is up to him. Perfect. Thank you, T-Rex. That's P1 T-Rex. And P1 Patrick, tell everybody what a P1 is.
That is correct. That is exactly what a P1 is. Thank you. What were you calling to talk about? I have a question for the author, Mikey. Mm-hmm. I was going to ask the author what he thinks of Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers, that he thinks Aaron Rodgers is going to have a great time here. Okay. It's tough to say. I mean, he's played, what, a cup of coffee so far in the league. I mean, he's really hasn't shown a lot yet. So, I mean, but he had a lot of promise coming out of college. And, you know, there's a reason why he's drafted number one. And, of course, he's a good coach. And I think he's spending, obviously, a lot of time, you know, when he's not dealing with the threats so far, bro, with Aaron Rodgers. And, you know, I think he'll be, you know, I mean, it's going to take a couple years for him to be, like, a legit quarterback, I think. I think he's going to be serviceable. I think he'll be alright. Right, I feel that he might actually, you know, do actually really well. Awesome. Yeah, there you go. Thank you for the call, man. Thank you. One of the text messages that you just got says, I have this question for everyone. Has anyone ever been to Catalina Island or so? What cool things can I do there? I'm going for a day trip today. Please help. I've never been there. I don't know what goes on.
My wife's friend, Lori, goes every year for the 4th of July and loves Catalina Island. And I got a call from an old friend of mine yesterday who is going to be paddleboarding from Catalina Island to, um, I wanted to say Long Island. Long Beach. Long Beach. Long Beach. I'm like, I know the word long is in it. Long Beach. Long Island. That would be cool. That would be a feat. Yeah. But it's going to take him seven hours. And he wanted me, he was asking me if I would be, there's going to be a boat, like a 14-foot aluminum boat following him for seven hours from Catalina to Long Beach. And I said, no. Shocking, that sounds like something I really enjoy. What would you do on the boat? Just sit there.
You know who's doing it? You know him, Berger. Yeah, Berger's doing it, and you know Dom? Dom is going to drive the boat, and all he wants, all Berger wants, is somebody to keep Dom company. I thought you were going to be maybe like the guy going, row! Bro. No. And he said to me, he goes, dude, I was going through all my contacts on my phone and I saw your name and I thought it would just be funny to ask you to do it because I knew you wouldn't. He goes, I just thought it would be funny to ask you if you would do that. And I'm like, yeah, I won't. But good luck. 570-1053 is our phone number. 35253 is our text number. And here is what is on the show today. We have, first of all, we're going to give you the location again for the gas monkey, which happens tomorrow. Gas monkey out tomorrow. We have a new thing with Ashley. We all know that Ashley, well, especially lately, mommy's been eating a lot. Yeah. Mommy can put it down. I like food. Yeah. But she's on a diet, she says. Yeah. You knew this, right? That's what she said. Sky, you heard her all day yesterday. Yeah, I am.
Wait till I tell you what she ate yesterday. Mike. Eddie. Come on. She says she's on a diet. Anyway, we're going to start a new thing with Ashley. It's a competition and it has to do with food. And good luck to you. Good luck to you trying to compete. Beat the beast. That's right. Got a little lyrical gangsta today. Got some Sean TV. Sean introducing us to... Oh, Sean. That's right. Yeah. I want to talk to you about your first dates because I heard a doozy and thought maybe you would have a doozy. If you're listening right now, you may have a doozy at first date. YouTube clip of the day is fantastic. Everybody's talking about this Paris Hilton thing where she's responding to the McCain ad that kind of makes fun of her. She's making some fun. Think about socks of all articles of clothing. Socks. More drive. More ambition. than any other thing. How many times you do a big laundry? You go to the dryer, you take out your socks, you count them up. One of them got out. He escaped. He took off on his own. What are his chances out there? I don't think they're good. Sometimes you see a dirty sock by the street there. Did you ever see one? Just one sock. It's a sock that didn't make it. I don't know how they escape. They have their own ideas. You know, sometimes... So we catch them, sometimes they'll hang on a sweater. That's like a freight car to them, you know. And he slips off and he...

A lot of my issues. stem from my relationship with my mother. Eddie. A wee bit competitive. Sky. I own a spaceship. Oh, does that mean it's true? Tech Club. Sean. It's the Mikey Show. It's 640. Morgan Freeman is doing well after surgery to repair damage from his car accident Sunday night. Padres tried to rally in the ninth behind a three-run home run, but come up short, losing to the Mets 6-5. So I'm looking at all the different emails that you guys sent.
where you're telling me what was going on in your days and what's happening. And Eddie, he sent me this thing. And I read this. I'm like, oh, my goodness. I don't know what to do, dude. This is great, man. It's brutal. So embarrassed. Tell this story. All right. Well, when we first came back to San Diego about, what, four years ago now? Yeah. The very first week we were back, I was having a conversation with Bromo. from the Dave Shelley and Chainsaw Show. Right. And we're talking about gaming and how at that time I had a PS2 and, you know, I like to have, you know, play video games and all that stuff. And he's like, oh, dude, that's cool. I have this one game I just finished. I loved it. It was really fun. Do you want to borrow it? And I was like, yeah, yeah, sure. You know, I mean, I told him though, I don't know if I'll get to it right away with, you know, me just moving and stuff, but I mean, I'll eventually play. He goes, ah, dude, take your time. You know, don't even sweat it. Whatever. You know, get it back to me whenever. I said, okay, cool.
So I put it with my other video games and, you know, didn't really think about it. And when I was moving, it must have fallen behind where my video games were. And four years later, I found Bromo's video game. Oh, my. And now I don't know what to do. How do I return that four years later? Hey, Eddie, do you remember what it is? It's called 13. I think. It's like a first player type of action. It's almost how many years Eddie's had it. You have to do it on the air because it won't be as uncomfortable. Yeah, if he'll allow it. I got to bring it in tomorrow then. I was like, do I just keep it at this point? I'm embarrassed to go through the whole thing of like, dude, here's your game back. Make sure you tell him. Man, this was one of the toughest games I have ever played. I just barely finished it. It was great. Zat says you can go track him down. Well, I don't have it with me. Yeah, I mean, do we need it? Should we stretch it out? I would rather hand it to him. It's embarrassing. I'll bring it in tomorrow and we can do it. That is funny. Let's do it at this time tomorrow. Man.
You probably won't even remember the game or maybe you will. I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen. That is crazy. He's going to be mad about it or he's going to be like, oh, yeah. Have you ever done that? Have you ever loaned anybody something and they give it back to you like you forget about it or found something that you borrowed? That's a pretty good topic. 5701053, 35253 is our text number. Speaking of texts, Mikey, I really want to be a radio show host. What do you recommend I do to get into that? Please help. My recommendation is do not go to one of those broadcast schools because people that do the hiring in broadcasting think that those things are a joke. Plus, they cost you thousands of dollars and you can learn the same info, kind of, you know, interning or junior college or whatever. Not only that, but the stuff that they're teaching you on, it's not the stuff we use. They don't have the stuff that we use. So you're learning a bunch of stuff that's probably stuff that we don't do. So my recommendation is get a job at a radio station being either an intern where you're working for free. You're in college and you can be an intern. I would do that. Or I would get hired as something called a board operator, which is a person that usually works like on the weekends.
equipment. But what it gives you opportunity to do is be in the building. And that way you can have access to production studios where you can go and sort of make these little demo CDs for the boss. Kind of showcasing what you would sound like if you were on the air. But don't go to those broadcast schools. I don't like those. Mikey, does Ashley's diet consist strictly of muffin tops? That's P1 Instigator. So he's instigating something there. Does he know about my muffin top fetish? Well, we did talk about it once on the air a while ago. Okay, yeah. You really like muffin tops? Well, no, I only, like, eat muffin tops. Like, I will, like, go to Henry's and I'll buy, like, two. That instantly made Rob laugh. Well, I don't think she got.
Oh, I think I picked it up. He was talking about, like, oh, muffin top, top heavy fat. I get it. Well, she didn't know what muffin top was, though. She didn't know what a muffin top was. She just learned it. She just learned it a couple of weeks ago, we explained. Yeah. Mikey, would the show be open to playing the P.O.D. Charger theme song for every home game instead of what you play to open the show? P1 banana check. Banana check. Yeah, sure. Listen, if we got a home game and it's on Sunday. On Friday, we could open the show with that. I think that's kind of a cool idea. Awesome. Get everybody fired up. Mikey, my friend paddled from Santa Barbara Island to OB. 30 hours. Oh, no. It's P1 Penguin. Wow. That's crazy. I would not do that. I wouldn't. I mean, we've got cars now. Yeah, no kidding. Good call. All I could think about was sharks, man. Scary.
Forget it. Are they going to jump out of the water and eat your boat? You never know. Maybe they would. That's what they do. We watch Shark Week, man. That's right. Flying sharks. Seriously. Flying sharks. Yeah. Haven't you seen the movie Orca? No. What? They do, man. Eddie will tell you. I don't want to talk about that. That's right. All of us on the show, by the way, I think Rob has a broadcasting degree. Yeah. Associates. He's got a... associate's degree from college in broadcasting. What? That's funny. But what got him, you know, what got him on the radio was just his personality. It didn't have anything to do with that. I didn't even know that until this second. Which a lot of what they taught was, like, I had to take a class on how to speak formally. Whatever. You know what I mean? He doesn't do that. In fact, I told him I want the opposite. Yeah. So there's like a lot. Yeah. Didn't you take a class on how to suppress your accent? Oh, yeah. Terrible. Right. Because you're in the heart of Boston. So it's like everything is like no accent, no accent. You got to be versatile for any format and anywhere you go in the country. And if you go across the United States, which I did, they were like, they don't want to hear a Boston accent. Yeah, they do. They want you to blend in with everybody else. What a terrible. Be the same.
Those instructors, that's the other thing. The instructors, they don't know what is right. Idiot. They don't know what to teach you. No. A lot of them were old school. Essentially what they're teaching you. Yeah. Oh, trust me. I've worked for a ton of those guys that taught me stuff that was so goofball. And it took me forever to break those habits. To go, no, that's not what I should. My instinct is telling me that's not what I should be doing on the radio. No. Essentially, what they were teaching you was don't be yourself. Yeah. Thank God I was a bad student. Yeah. Didn't pay attention. It's true. What is he saying? It's true. P1 Anonymous is on the line. What's up, Anonymous? Hey, what's going on? Yeah, I'm buying a house with my girlfriend. I'm trying to get her to sign a piece of paper so it's 50-50. She doesn't want to do that. She says, let's just get married. I don't want to get married. What do you guys think I should do? We're all going to have very... different takes on what you should do. We're all going to have very, very different takes on what you should do. So I'll start and then we'll go around the room. It's going to be so different. It'll blow you away. For those of you listening for the first time to the Mikey show, prepare to be tripped out. You're about to hear really different opinions from really different people. My thing is God has a second. I'm Christian.
And I believe that God has a set of rules for us and that we are free to follow the rules or free to not follow the rules. If we follow the rules, he blesses us. If we don't follow the rules, we're on our own. It's not that he punishes us. It's just he goes, oh, OK, well, you're doing it your way. And if you do it your way, then you are on your own. And he says. Don't have sex before you get married. I didn't follow that rule, by the way. So I'm just going to be the first to raise my hand and go, I didn't follow that rule. And I paid consequences in things that happened as a result of it. Now I realize that what I'm saying right now by 99.9% of the population is going, oh, that's whacked out, dude. You got to drive the car before you buy it. What's the matter with you? But that is where I'm coming from. So my opinion is don't live. with someone before you get married. Statistically, the odds are against you when you do. And I did it myself. And I think that my relationship with my now wife early on suffered as a result of it. So I would say don't move in together, especially if you can't even say to yourself at this point that this is somebody that you want to marry.
then I think that you're truly making a mistake because even though I don't know for sure that you guys are going to be having intercourse, it sounds like you're going, well, I'm willing to have intercourse with this girl, but I'm not willing to marry her, which now you got a double whammy going for you. Now you know what God's rule is and you're saying, I'm going to break that and go on my own. Oh, and by the way, I'm not even willing to marry this girl. So that's my opinion. Now prepare to hear a bunch of the different ones. Eddie, what do you think? Well, yeah, I mean, to me, it's like, well, you love this girl enough to want to buy a house together, but you don't love her enough to want to marry her? Yeah, well, I just, we've been dating for about four years. You know, everything's good, and we both were going, we both put up 50-50 for all our payments and everything. And then I'm just, hey, just in case something happens, we break up, you know. Let's get 50-50 out of this house. And she doesn't want to sign the paper. She's all, no. She's all, I'll sign them. Well, what's the holdup, dude? What are you afraid of? Oh, man. I don't know. That's just, it's scary. How old are you? Me? I'm turning 27. I mean, you know, you guys have been together four years. You want to buy a house together. You got to figure it out, man. If that's the girl for you for the rest of your life, then.
You know, what are you waiting for? Brother, how is it that you're willing to buy a home with somebody, but you're not, you know, you're willing to play marriage, but you're not willing to do marriage? Well, I just think that I don't, it's kind of weird, but I don't want to jinx it. You know, like I know so many people that go through divorce, you know, aunts, uncles, friends, relatives, and we have a good thing going right now. Where are we going to mess it up? Sky. Yeah, I, you know, agree with pretty much what everybody here is saying. I do, in my opinion, you know, I think it's good to live together before you get married, in my opinion. And if you guys are on the same page about not wanting to be married and wanting to buy a house, okay. But obviously that's not your case. Obviously you're on different pages. And I totally agree with Mike and Eddie. And I think Mike said it perfectly saying, okay, you're ready to play house, but you're not ready to commit to it, you know? So, yeah, buying a house, dude, in my opinion, with someone else is just as big of a commitment as being married. I mean, that was kind of one of the kick in the butts that got me and the hubby married because it's like. Yeah, you forced him into it. I did not force him into it. Thank you, Jess.
No. So this is my thought, dude. If you aren't ready to marry her, do not buy a house with her. It's going to be just as legally messy and whatever if you break up whether you're married or not. It's all going to be a disaster. Rob, what do you think? This might be crazy, but for some people, the dating thing works. Thank you. But hold on. Hold on. Before you. Right. I got more. Before you realize that, you know, you could just date forever, if she's pressing the issue, man, you got to weigh it out. Because you're not going to get both, obviously. Someone's been teaching me this, that you got to learn when your girl's right. And if you've been dating for four years, dude, you know what? If you're willing to buy a house, which you could possibly go under, lose a house, all that, anyways, you got to weigh it out and see how much this girl is worth to you. Oh, like, don't get me wrong. I love her and I don't plan like... being with any other girl. It's just a... Oh, man. Marriage is just... I don't know. It just scares me. Well, you're essentially planning on... Right. If you're going to buy a house with her, live with her, have sexual intercourse with her... And you don't plan on being with anyone else. You're not going to be with anybody else. You're basically... That is what married is. So, you know, I want to think about it. All right. All right, brother.
I'll keep you guys informed, though. I'll let you guys know what happened. Yes. Thank you for the call. And if you can, get an 80-20. You know, 80-her? Paying for it? An 80-20? What? I thought he was talking about, like, ground beef. Yeah, no. He's not talking about ground beef? He's being a weirdo. Where it's 80% fat, 20% beef? That's weird, dude. It tastes so strange. Hey, Mikey, what's up with the gas monkey? I'm going to be telling you what's up with the gas monkey. That funky monkey.
Be telling you all about it before the hour is over. Can't wait for tomorrow. I'm so glad to be back in my own bed. We just traveled to Denver last week. I'm so glad to be back in my own bed. When we were in the airport, you know those big, long conveyor belts that people stand on that carry you from one part of the airport to the other? The moving walkways. And if you walk on it, you go even faster. I love those. Unnecessary. What do you mean unnecessary, Ashley? What do you mean? Johnny Walker over here. Oh, she is. That's right. That's what I just remembered. Ashley hotels. She'll take the stairs instead of the elevator. Yeah, I love it. And instead of taking escalators, she will take the stairs. Idiot. She will not take the moving walkways. No, no, no, no, no. She'll walk alongside. Yeah. Just as fast of a pace. Is it because of the exercise quotient? Yeah. Like, hey, why not get a little exercise? Absolutely. Every chance I get.
I am way too lazy to do that. I saw a girl on that walkway and she had her pillow from home tucked under her arm. And I thought to myself, man, that looks really lame. It did. It looked really kind of nerdy. But I wish I'd done it. Well, if it could just magically be there. I don't want to carry anything like that. What about putting it in your suitcase? I feel like I have room. I know a gal who found some room for her teddy bear. Who? To Denver? Ash, did you take that McMue it? You know that I no longer take Kitty McMue out of my room due to past experiences of almost losing her in hotels. Are you talking about you, Skye? You have a teddy bear? I'm just saying. You've heard about King Plush before. Oh, Risky Sky. Come on. You've heard of King Plush. Did you take King Plush to Denver? Or just the king, as he's referred to it at home. His friends just call him the king. Describe for listeners what King Plush is, our 30-year-old news girl. You have a screw loose. Yeah. Okay, well, trip out on this. Okay. Okay, Cheddar. So, basically, like...
I haven't had a teddy bear since I was a little, little girl. Oh, yeah, that's when you have them. I mean, like... Like, I mean, a long time, you know? Yeah, you haven't had a diaper since then, either. No. You start wearing those, too? No, I had the teddy... Scott, you haven't had a sippy cup. No, I had the teddy bears longer than I had the diapers. No cuckoo. Okay, so a while back, I was kind of having a bad day. I was in a funk, and me and the Boo went to Blockbuster to rent some DVDs. The Boo is what she calls her husband. She calls him the Bunny Boo, or Boo for short. And inside Blockbuster, they had one of those little machines with the cranes where you can win the stuffed animals out of. And I think, just joking, my husband goes, would it make you feel better if I tried to win you a teddy bear? And legitimately, I was like, yes, it would make me feel better. And he won on the first try. He's a very talented man. Wow. Eddie just rolled his eyes. Was not using the crane hand, though. Okay. All right. What I heard. I understand. So anyway, so he won me this teddy bear, which I called King Plush. Why? Well, because it had a little tag on it that said King Plush.
Oh, clever. Or maybe it just said plush. I don't know. Either way, it came from that. And ever since then, I've slept with a teddy bear every night. What do you do? Like wrap your arms around it? You don't want to know. I don't want to know. What do you do? It's so creepy. What do you do? You have a husband. What do you do? What do you do with it? So, I lay in bed. This is bad. I lay in bed and I normally... To fall asleep, lay on my back. And Tango, my cat, will come and curl under my right arm. And so I'll have one arm around him. And then the other arm, I have King Plush in there with the sheet half over him. Because, you know, his head needs to stick out. And then my arm wrapped around him. I just want to see that expression. She has a husband. Like, this is going on in a...
Like an adult? It's your girl. And then when I leave in the morning, I pull the covers up from where I was sleeping and I take King Plush and I put him in my spot and I pull the covers up to his chin so when he wakes up, King Plush is right there. But I did have quite a dilemma over taking him to Denver because I really wanted to, but I kept telling myself. You're 30 years old. She's a 30-year-old woman. You are 30 years old. And the risk factor of losing him. Well, yeah, that's Ashley's big concern. Catastrophic. Mikey Show listeners are P1s. I'm not alone. Discuss. 570-1053. I am not the only 30-year-old. 35253 is our text. I'm not the only 30-year-old that travels with a teddy bear or a pillow. You wanted to bring a pillow. What's the difference? I did. I wanted to bring a pillow. See? I wanted to bring a pillow. Or, like, identical. Let me tell you something. When I had my surgery, Eddie was really cool. Him and his wife sent a basket, a Get Well basket. Well, it came with a teddy bear. Aw, that was sweet, Eddie. I really liked the thing. I took off its sweater. It had a sweater on that said Get Well. And I took the sweater off because I just wanted to feel the softness of the teddy bear. And I had it in the bed because it felt nice. And my wife thought it was, she didn't say anything, but I could tell she thought, man, that's gay, you know. Wow.
She probably thought that was cute. No, she didn't. Come on. I'm telling you, she didn't think it was cute. I can tell by the look on her face. And I didn't have it in there because it was a teddy bear. I had it in the bed because I thought it felt nice. Yeah. But she kind of shamed me out of it. King Plush feels great. It's in the name, bro. But don't you sleep with like a nightgown and all that? What? What do you sleep in? Again, you don't want to. Quot-seed pajamas? Yeah. What are you sleeping? Drapes. Well, it depends. Eddie, do you know what she's sleeping? Drapes? I don't know. Do you know? It's something ridiculous, I'm sure. Well, it depends on the time of year, Mike. What now? What are you sleeping? Right now, it's just a t-shirt that normally has like 80 holes in it. Like literally so many holes. Probably a radio station promotion t-shirt. Promoting some movie. Yeah. Kramer versus Kramer. There it is. Wow. How dare you. So that's summertime wear, either just a ratty tank top or a ratty t-shirt. And then in the winter. That's all? No underwear? Well, and the fundies. And the fundies. Yeah.
So she wears fundies and a ratty t-shirt. And then in the winter, it's the... NASA uniform. It's the footie pajamas. I have two pairs of adult footie pajamas. I wear those in the winter. That's ridiculous. I didn't know that existed. I didn't either. They're awesome. I didn't either. You're a grown woman. Why do you want that? What's up? 570-1053. Our text is... 3-5-2-5-3. Oh, and by the way, I didn't forget to tell you what mall is going to be expanding gigantically, so we'll get to it. Don't go away. P1 Josh? What's up? What's up with you? Not a whole lot. How you about? Good. So, look, Sky, I think is great, and I love it, but my grandparents, their first date, My grandpa gave her a teddy bear, and my grandma's had it for 50 years. They take it on every vacation. Aw. She still has it. Look at that. And she takes it on vacation. Listen, this ain't the notebook, bro. I wish it was. It should. It should be. Come on. Unbelievable. So that thing went in your suitcase. Mm-hmm.
That's why I couldn't fit the hairdryer. She was taking it in and out. Oh, yeah, when I was packing, I was like, okay, King Flush, here we go. We're going to Denver. And then I was like, ah. Think that through. Let's hear it. I'm 30, and it's probably weird for a 30-year-old woman to travel. It is. So what got you out of that correct line of thinking? I don't give a rip what people think, and I love the king, and he's coming with me. P1 Buddy. Hello. Now messed up too. It sounds like line one is now a little jacked. I would not take that teddy bear that I have. I would take a pillow. Wait, you still have the teddy bear? Yeah, yeah. Well, I stuck it in a drawer because my wife made me feel ashamed.
Aw. Ashamed of it. Ashley has a thing called Kitty McMue. Gross. It's not a thing, Mike. It is a thing. It's a stuffed cat. You're smart, Kat. It's a stuffed cat. How long have you had it, Ashley? Since I can remember. I mean, since I was a cat to be born. Since you're a child. You're smart. Yep. And very dirty, right? Well, yeah. I mean, it got to the point with the nightgown that it was so worn out that my grandma sewed a new one. Aw. It's a kitty. Kitty McMue. Kitty McMue. Uh. does not go on trips with Ashley anymore. Absolutely not, Mike. Because Ashley just leaves them in hotel rooms all willy-nilly. Oh, really? That's what happened, I think. She doesn't care about it. Pretty sure last time I checked, I left it in the bed where it belongs and the freaking maids both times took it and didn't even notice, wrapped it up in the sheets when they went to wash it. Well, why would you leave it there so haphazardly? And had I not made the maids check the laundry, we never would have regained control of my kids. Kitty. It's her own fault. If you loved it that much, you should take good care of it. Listen, I'm not saying that I'm an angel in all this. I messed up. You're a bad mother. So now. And it won't happen again. That's for sure. It does not leave my room, Mike. Kitty McMue is in your room right now. Yeah, she's in my room right now. You sleep with her. I sleep with her, yeah. And with us, Skye, you know, me and my honey, like, we'll, like, spoon. And then, like, I'll put Kitty on the other side of me. And then when I go to work in the morning, I tuck.
My honey in and I say, and here's Kitty if you need her. And I put Kitty and I tuck Kitty in right next to him. And emasculating. It's got to be a little emasculating. Maybe he needs her. You don't know. So that's what I do. Let's see. Why? Don't act like that. What's your problem? You're shaved and nice today. Shaved her legs. She shaved her legs. Do you want Fuzzy? Fuzzy, are you there? I'm there. Go ahead. You're on the air. Hey, Mikey, I wanted to call and talk about this whole stuffed animal thing. Yep. I've actually had a stuffed animal since I was two. It's a little stuffed dog with bells in the ears that I call Jingles. Oh, Jingles. How long have you been there, sir? Well said. Come on. Go ahead. Thank you. Go ahead, sir. Well, of course, I mean, I'm not going to put him on a shelf, right? He's going to get cold up there. Good thinking. That was uncomfortable. Maybe Mike can lend you the sweater from his teddy bear. I see where you're going with that. See where you're going with it. Gay side? Is that what you're going to say? Gay side. P1 Buddy. Now that's the second time we've gone to P1 Buddy and he hasn't been there. Different line now.
Yes, I'm on the phone. Maybe it's him. Maybe it's Buddy. So, Ash, have you ever thought with Kitty McMue that you can travel with her but just don't let the maids in your room? I can't risk it, Skye. Wait, what? Yeah, you just don't have your room cleaned when you go to hotels. Are you kidding me? What? What's wrong with that? How do you get your fresh towels and sheets and stuff? Do you use a fresh towel at home every single day? Do you change your sheets every single day at home? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I can explain this. At home, I've got big, nice towels. And in the hotel, they basically give you those gross, hard sandpaper towels. Oh, I beg to differ. Those things are awesome. Yeah, Rob uses a washcloth at home. No, he uses bounty paper towels at home. Are you telling me that you... Okay, raise your hand if you... Raise your hand in the studio if you do not have the maid clean your room. There are seven of us. Two. Sky and Rob. I'm intrigued.

Did you decide to go with that sleep number or you went with something different? No, I went with the Sealy, which is the number one best-selling mattress in America, which I found out there at Sleep Train. I'm very knowledgeable. It has the pillow top on top, but yet it's still pretty firm. Yeah. So you get both. going there. That's awesome. So it was really cool. I can't wait. Minus the pretzels. Now back to the Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. Come on, girls. Move those hips. Some kind of like yoga.
Ash, do they listen to music like this in yoga, or is it very, like, I always pictured with yoga that it was all, like, very celestial music, you know, like, yoga is more getting in touch with your zen and all that. Yeah, well, the place I go, because some yoga places don't even play music, so it just depends. The place I go, it's my favorite part, is the music, and normally they'll play this kind of music, like the fast-paced, during when we're, like, doing the groundwork, like, core, like, abs and fast-paced stuff. Yeah. Ashley's gotten in shape because of yoga. It's changed my life, Mike. It's made her hungry. That's right. Mommy's very hungry, right? Mommy's always been hungry, to be honest. I'm very proud of my wife. She ran the farthest she's ever run yesterday. She ran for six miles. Holy cow. How fast, but she's running in a race this month. It's all about how long one mile takes when you start to train. It's a trip, right? Yeah. I don't know. I got to ask her that. That's awesome. She thinks she may have messed up her knee a little bit yesterday. I know. So be careful. Great. Here we go. Come on, lady. Tell her to run on, like, grass or, you know, anything but cement. But how do you run for six miles on grass? Well, I don't know. If she could find a track or something. But cement is really bad for your knees and your shin splints. The problem is, I'm going to suggest that to her.
the problem is, is that I don't know that those half marathons and marathons take place on the grass. Well, for the race, you know, you can sack it up, but to be training hardcore every day. You should be on grass. Or track or soil. Make it with some soil. Tell her to go to Armstrong Nursery. Get a bunch of potting soil. I'll say, baby, just throw that. Ash says, just get some potting soil. Put it out there on the front lawn and then just do some circles. Have her go run in the canyon. Why not? You get what she's saying. It's 731. Batman the Dark Knight has now broken another record, this one for hitting the $400 million mark in record time. Looks like the Packers and Brett Favre are going to part ways. Brett could be traded to Tampa Bay as early as today. All right. Before we went to break, Sky and Boston Rob said that they don't have the cleaning person do their room. I don't even know. I can't, Mike. I know it. Now, before we get to that,
I want to give you the answer to which mall in San Diego is going to be expanding. Which one, Skye? Well, we told you last week about UTC having a big expansion plan in the works. And I guess it's, you know, caught on. And now Mission Valley Mall wants to do the same kind of thing. Turning the mall into more of a walkable village type feel. More condos and more retail space, maybe even a hotel, new parking structures. Yeah, so this is a huge thing. The Mission Valley and the UTC project both, of course, want to make things more green, more solar power, stuff like that. But yeah, this walkable village is now what they want to do to the Mission Valley Mall. Do they give any stores or anything like that yet? No, they don't say specifically stores. They say 500,000 square feet of new retail space. Oh, that's a lot. 50,000 square feet for either office space or a hotel. 250 condos and several new parking structures. Oh, wow. That just sounds crowded. Yeah, it does.
It's already kind of crowded, right? And it makes me feel like, okay, great. Like UTC and Mission Valley Mall are two of the hugest malls. So that just means, oh, Fashion Valley and all the other malls are going to be what? Like even more crowded while all these malls are like in construction? Yeah, but it is a really cool thing. Like I know up in the Bay Area, we have one of these kind of models on a smaller scale. It's called Santana Row. And it's really neat to have the living space mixed in with the retail. And it's this really cool, youthful, hip vibe. Ashley, are you saying you think that because they would be constructing and that would force people to other malls? Yeah. That's what I would wonder if that would happen. That would be awesome around Christmas time, huh? Right? Dude. I think it's kind of bad timing, I guess, that UTC and Mission Valley are both going to do insane renovations to their malls at the same time. Wow. Wow. Wow. All right. To the Nutzos. Shut up. That's the truth, dude. It's the truth. I don't understand. What's the reason? What's the reason? Mike, what's the reason? They don't have their rooms cleaned. Why? That's what the maids do. That's their job. Skye, why do you not have them do your room? Well, okay. I'm not going to say that I don't ever have them do my room. If I stay somewhere for more than like four days, I'll get my room cleaned on like the fourth day, maybe the fifth day. But if it's anything shorter than that, no, I do not.
Well, you've got to figure that those rooms are already filthy. We know this from watching Dateline. Yes. We know that when you go into those rooms, they're already filth filled. The comforter is like full of stuff. Oh, yeah. So any additional filth added is my own filth. I know, but you're already dealing with filth filth filters. people couldn't sterilize it prior to my arrival, what makes me think they're going to... But doesn't that make your mind at ease a little bit to get, like, new sheets and new towels? It's wasteful, no. Wasteful for who? That's what they do. It's bad for the environment. It's bad for the environment. Lots of hotels now have signs that say, hey, you need to, like, throw your towels on the floor or you need to rip your sheets off if you want to change. Yes, but... Bad for the environment. Yes, but... Your butt. Why do you do it? Because I'm scared of theft, if I'm being honest. Oh, wow. This is all really making sense to me. What is it? Steal your teddy bear? Come on. What about your jewelry? Yeah. Well, they have hotel safes. The hotel I just stayed in didn't have a safe. Did you look in the closet? Yeah, I did look in the closet. Skye, did you have anything stolen in Denver? No. Did you have anything stolen in Chicago? I didn't have my room cleaned, no. You didn't have your room cleaned?
In Denver. Okay, did you have your room cleaned in Chicago? I doubt it. So you haven't done the room cleaning for a long time? Like I said, unless I'm staying for like a full week, no. Have you ever had anything stolen? No, but my parents have. Have you ever had anything stolen? I believe it was 1973. They were honeymooning in Florida. And my mom gave my dad this beautiful watch as like his groom's gift for the wedding. He wore it for like a day or two. Obviously, they were going to go out in the ocean. He left it in the room. Maids came. Bam. Watch is gone. I'd freak out. It was his wedding gift for my mom. The story scarred me. I see. I don't blame you. Yeah. So, I mean, what's the point? I'm good. I use the same towels at home for a couple days. I sleep in the same sheets at home for a couple days. Can I ask one question? Go ahead, Sean. What's a diff? Eddie, have you ever had your hotel room cleaned? Every single day. Have you ever had anything stolen? Never. Yet. No, I haven't either. But that brings me to my next one. They have safes. How about you, Boston Odd?
Have you? Hey, what? Why do you do this? Why do you do this? Sky's right. Theft is a very... It's rampant. It is. It's high on my concern, and it has happened to me for the record. Oh, get him. So I was scarred by it. What happened? Well, it was spring break in London, and the house, I was... That's another country, man. Their money's red. No, their money's not red, I don't think. Weird stuff over there. But the housekeeping stole some of my stuff. Doesn't the toilet water flow a different direction when you're there? Yeah, it goes up. It's weird. America's different, man. Here in America, when you stay in a hotel and people clean it, they usually leave your stuff alone. But not only theft, but my thing is like, this guy's right. After five days, then, yeah, have them come in and, you know, renew everything. But I mean, you can, you use a towel. you know, four or five times. It's not getting dirty. No, no, no, no, no, no. Eddie said it when, and when Eddie, Eddie nailed it. When Eddie said, don't you want fresh stuff? Like, that's what it comes down to. Thank you. If you can get fresh stuff, why would you? Sky, but that's not why you do it. That's not what it's about. That's why I do it now.
It is not. Come on. Let's have an adult conversation. Can we all just be honest in the conversation here? Sky, that doesn't enter your mind. It sure does. Thank you. And I don't want... This is going to sound weird. I don't want them going through my stuff and trying my stuff on. Really? I'm telling you. You believe that you might walk back into the room. And those weirdos... Yes, that non... English-speaking 40-year-old Mexican woman is going to be trying on one of your I Hate the Yankees t-shirts. Yeah.
Yeah, looks good for my son. Take it home. Well, I've talked Ashley into it since our Denver dress. Ashley is now a believer. Yeah, because I don't necessarily feel comfortable having anybody come in my stuff and be searching around my jewelry. They're not, Ashley. They're not going to be searching through your jewelry. They're looking for the goods, man. They're not looking for the goods. And then if I could save and plan it while I'm at it, I mean, give me a break. Oh, you didn't even think of it. Get out of here with that. 570-1053-35253 is our text. Call us about this. I want to know what you people are thinking right now. But stuff doesn't get dirty right away. Please. It doesn't. Eddie, you don't said, and I agree. Who cares? If you have the option between clean and not clean, hello? They're going to wash those towels anyway, with or without mine. A giant load of them. So my towel isn't going to add or do anything. But if more people did what we did, instead of doing 10 loads of towels, they'd do 9 loads of towels. But they're not. And so you're saving a lot. But you're not. You're not.
But that's the wrong platform. I'm just saying, I don't want... She doesn't believe in that platform, Rob. What's the matter with you? Why do you think she believes in that platform? Because she's... It's about... She doesn't want people stealing from her. That's where it started. But once I became knowledgeable and read, like, oh, yeah. They do have... You know, back in the day, they were washing the sheets every day. That's not necessary. Washing the towels every day. Not necessary. Mike, you got no problem with a complete stranger coming into your room where you're living. Not only do I not have a problem with it. But when we were in Denver... I would leave the room at like 11 or 12. And if they hadn't come, well, one time the maid knocked on the door. She wanted to come in, but I wasn't out of the room yet. And so I asked her if she could come back, which she was so irritated at. I understand. I understand. I get where you're going with that. But I'm very, very pleased to tell you that I still have all my belongings. Really? Yes. I still have all my belongings. And so when I not only do, yes, do I feel comfortable, but when I leave at 11, I'll call house cleaning and say, I'm leaving. Can you please service the room? Because I like to come back in and everything has been, you know, you know what they do too? They take my stuff and they put it in a nice organized kind of pile. And I like that. They touch your stuff. Absolutely. Dude, no way, Jose.
Uh-uh. So you're telling me your stuff might be across the rum? They gather it all? Rum? Eddie likes his with Coca-Cola. So they'll gather it and put it somewhere for you? They put it where it is, Rob. It's on a desk, and let's say it's all scattered about. They'll kind of organize it. If it's all scattered out on the bed, they'll organize it and make the bed. I like that. I got a clean rum now. I keep my room clean. The bathroom is now all clean. Nice fresh towels. Nice fresh sheets. What are you, the Tasmanian devil going through there and messing everything up? You can't really mess up a hotel room. No, you can't. Who knows if they're coming in there and fluffing your pillow and then farting on it and laughing about it. You've got a wild imagination. You've got to screw loose. No, I'm just saying. No strangers in my room while I'm gone. P1 Paul?
Yeah, how's it going? Good. Just calling because I'm a director of housekeeping at a hotel downtown. Uh-huh. And I thought I might dispel a couple myths and tell you guys what's really not cool in the room. Mikey Mythbusters. I love it. Go ahead. Well, I know that there was a big Dateline special on the glasses recently. I don't know if any of you guys saw that. No, explain it. What was it? Well, they took camera crews into hotels and they photographed or recorded. room attendants or maids cleaning the glasses out in the room with, like, a glass cleaner chemical and a rag instead of taking them down and, like, washing them in a dishwasher. You mean the ones that are in the bathroom? Right, right. Oh, I used those. Well, the ones with our hotel, they actually were in a plastic bag. I didn't use those, though. I used the glass one. They had a glass, you know, it was actually a glass. plastic thing. Yeah, they had those too. They had those too, but next to the, when you first walked into the room, they had like a little ice chest. With a coffee maker and stuff. Yeah, with a couple of glasses and I took one of the glasses and my bathroom sink would fill it and take my medication with a glass glass. What are you going to tell me that Dateline did? Most of the hotel chains now have added in those plastic glasses or the plastic cups that are sealed.
And they have changed the procedures because of that news special. It was a huge deal. So instead of, you know, like taking those glasses out and putting new ones in, they would just take them and either just run water and wash them out and put them back. Yeah. Or they would use like Windex and spray them in there, clean them out, and then put them back. Oh, wow. So you're like drinking Windex. Well, I hope that rather that than the lips of some dude that was in there before me. Not either. All of it is gross. It's all gross. Go ahead, Ash. So, Zeth just called my inside line, and he was freaking out, which he, like, rarely does. But he was like, you need to call shenanigans on B-Rob because when we stayed together at the P-1 cruise last year, we had our room serviced and cleaned every single day. Rob's full of crap. You need to call him out. You're full of it, Rob. See? Zeth. I was so hammered on that cruise. I have no idea if I got my room cleaned or who I was or what I was doing. Make up your mind, bro. Yeah, well, make up your mind. What are you missing? What do you do, Rob? Absolutely not. What do you stand for? Go up to my hotel room. I got that privacy keys thing on lock. I'm going there right now. Let me see your key. P1 Paul, are you still there, Paul? Yeah, I'm still there. Is there any other myths that you can bust for us besides the one about the glass? Do they do that with the glasses where you stay or do you have any sort of pull on that? Oh, no. Everything is sanitized. Everything is washed. And most of the hotel chains, because of these...
These news specials have gotten really, really strict about it. If they catch anybody cleaning a glass with Windex, they're fired. Oh, good. It's a very big deal. Remote controls are really dirty. Oh, yeah. Those are one of the most germ-filled objects in a guest room. Oh, I didn't think of that. So, you know, sanitary wipes, I hate to, you know, freak Sean out, but you may want to wipe the remote controls down. I always bring a glove with me for that. Sky, what were you going to say? Well, so as the head of the housekeeping staff, how do you guys feel about people who don't have their rooms cleaned? Does that annoy you? Or do you appreciate the fact that they're not going to get rid of the sheets and the towels until they're actually really dirty? Who cares if they appreciate it? It's their job. I care. No, you don't, Sky. Yes, I'm that. Please, then. No, this is what I think. I think because I always have the privacy thing out, you know, because I don't ever want my room cleaned. I think when I pass the maids in the hall, they think I'm doing weird, kinky stuff in my room, and that's why I won't let them in. Really? That's what I think. Then you should let them in. That's what I think. They do, Skye. They think you're in a monkey business, so start letting them in there. Right, like I got chains hanging from the ceiling. Well, you do. Probably do. Well, you probably do. I know.
Paul, yeah, what is the answer to that? What do you make of the people that don't have their rooms cleaned? And do you think that people, by and large, should let people? Or is it a good idea to not? Well, it's definitely appreciated because it certainly saves on, I mean, laundry is extremely expensive when you're talking about washing that many towels and sheets. So it is appreciated and it definitely helps with labor. No, Sky's right. We should all boycott it. That way all of those people that are struggling to make a living will be fired because there won't be a need for them anymore. There won't be a need for them. We'll save the planet. We'll save the planet and kill some jobs. That's right. And we'll eliminate a bunch of jobs. Please. Please to you. Thank you, Paul. Thank you. P1 Sarah is on the line. Sarah. P1 Don Pedro's there. Hi, Don Pedro. Hi, how you doing? Good. Hey, I'm a security supervisor slash locksmith at a hotel. And it's really difficult for hotel associates to steal from rooms because security has the ability to interrogate those electronic locks. So if you're using key cards at a hotel, we know when the associate went in the room. We know how long they were in there. Huh.
Very, very rarely. I mean, the thefts that we have at the hotel, very rarely is it a hotel associate. I've been here five years, and I think it's happened once. There you go. So you really don't have much to worry about as far as that goes. Sky, are you thinking you'll be the one? Duh. Come on. All right, thank you for the call. That was P1 Don Pedro. What about you, P1 Nick? I had a maid. play on my laptop when I left for 15 minutes. What did she do? I went to go get breakfast and I left for 15 minutes and she was three rooms away. I come back to my room and I see the maids in my room. I walk through the door and past her cart. She's on my laptop on the internet. Shut up. With the laptop on the bed. What did you say? See? I went straight through the roof and I went down to the manager. No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop, stop. You walk into the room and you're standing there and she's sitting there on your laptop. Sitting on my laptop because I left my laptop and my iPod on the bed. Now, wait. Now, don't. Didn't you say something to her? I said, I asked her what she's doing and she looks at me like she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar and goes, oh, I just was moving it to clean the bed.
And that was the end of the conversation? You then said, okay. You didn't say anything back to her? No more took place? No, I walked right up to her, closed my laptop, went straight down to the manager and told him, I just caught your maid on my laptop in my room. My room was comped for the rest of the weekend. Oh, wow. Do you know if anything happened to this woman? I don't know, but I was pretty furious and I'm with Rob. My girlfriend likes the room to be cleaned. I don't like my stuff being gone through. And sure enough, it happened to me. I have a question. I have a question. I have a question. Do you remember what she was looking at? That I don't. I would be fascinated to know. You weren't curious as to what she was looking at? I was so infuriated with the fact that I went in my room and somebody was on my personal belongings. That natural reaction is to snap from them and let them have it. I kept my cool and went straight to the manager because there was no way I was about to lose my cool and go to jail for cussing out a maid in a hotel. It's her word against mine. I don't think that that's typical, though.
I mean, listen, maybe you do. You believe, and I would understand this guy, after an experience like that, would never do it again. But I think that that's, I don't think that's very typical. I don't think that happens very often. I think that's the exception to the rule. Having a maid look on your computer. Well, you go ahead and gamble. He said that he left it out, right? Yeah, so did I. I did leave the laptop open with my iPod hooked up to it. I wouldn't do that. I always pack my stuff up and, you know, at least put it, like, in the closet or something. P1 Tiger fan has a compromise, sort of a way in between. Go ahead, Tiger fan. Yeah, we really don't like people coming to the room when we're on vacation. So what we'll do is put the do not disturb sign, leave the TV on a little bit, and then, like, just meet the maid out in the hallway and get fresh towels every day. Oh, yeah, I've done that before. So you're still getting your fresh... How often do you change your sheets at home? You don't change your sheets every day and wash them. So, I mean, he can sleep a couple days on the same pair of sheets. Yeah, but think about this. If you could have fresh sheets every day, wouldn't you do that? Sure. You don't because it's an inconvenience for you. And you're not going to wash them.
But wouldn't it be nice if you could? It's wasteful. It's a service they give you. Get it off the bed and put it away and tuck it away and hide your valuables. Sky, what about this? Sky, what about this? Virtually every service that you use is utilizing something, but that's what they're there for. Yeah, but some things are wasteful. Yeah, I can order everything's wasteful. I can order every single thing on the room service menu and take one bite and not eat it. Or I can only order what I need and what I'm going to eat. When you go to the gas station, when you go to the gas station and you take a paper towel and maybe, you know, clean your hands on a paper towel, you're utilizing paper. It's hygiene. Yeah, but you're utilizing paper. It's wasteful. You can just wait until you get home and wash your hands. So is fresh towels. Everything can be considered wasteful, but it's a service. If it's provided, they're providing it for you. But if it's unnecessary. Yeah, there's unnecessary things. Virtually everything is. Virtually everybody has a choice to do whatever they want. So, there. There it is, girl. Guess what? We choose to go green. In your face. What do you mean we? You didn't do anything. Come on, Scott.

That crazy Chinese guy who's accused of beheading a man on a Greyhound bus in Canada last week was in court yesterday and asked the judge to please kill him. Oh. Hey, well.
Comparable, the Bengals and first-round pick, Keith Rivers, come to terms. Almost identical stories. Hey, Sky's got a couple of SUVs that are now cheaper than buying hybrids. Yeah, this gas thing, you know, crazy gas prices, has really done a number on the car industry, you know, people who sell cars. I saw a story that Hummers may become extinct. They are. It seems like they're discontinuing. But anyway, so. Which is a total bummer. I think they're gorgeous. Shut up. I do. I think they're beautiful. They're gas guzzlers. Yeah. Horrible for the planet. They're unnecessary. Oh, here we go. To most of the population. And let me tell you something. Prove it. Gorgeous. Incredibly comfortable ride. And great power, too. A lot of power. They got like 400 horsepower. Yeah, because you're burning so much gas. Oh, yeah, man. This guy's right. So check him out. Get one now.
Anyway, so, you know, everybody's freaking out over gas prices and wanting to get smaller cars, you know, compact cars, hybrids, stuff like that. And so everybody's like unloading their SUVs. So you have a bunch of people selling their SUVs. And then you also have a lot of car dealerships who can't sell the new SUVs. So there's just a glut of SUVs out there. And everybody wants, you know, the small little Civic or the Prius or whatever. And so right now, if you were to buy a brand new Prius, well, first of all, you'd have to get on a waiting list. It would take you anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to be able to buy a new one. And that's going to cost you about $26,000. Okay, well right now you can go to a used car lot or online and buy, thank you, a 2007 either like Explorer or Expedition for like 15 grand. Oh my gosh. So it's one years old and it's going to be $10,000 less than a new Prius. Oh my.
Yeah. And then they go and then people go, well, OK, I get it. But, you know, the Explorer only gets 15 miles per gallon, whereas my Prius will get 46 miles per gallon. Yeah. Well, if your motivation is purely based on money and not based on the environment. it would take you something like, I don't know, five, six years to make up the difference in price. So even if you're only getting 15 miles per gallon, still, compared to the 46 miles per gallon, it's a difference about $2,000 a year in gas. But if we're talking about a $10,000 difference in price, that's five years to make up the difference. So depending on what your needs are, you know, and what your motivation is, whether it's monetary or the environment, that's going to make a big difference. So, Skye, what would you do? Well, my motivation is the environment. It's not monetary. Hold on a second. Hold on a minute. You are the queen of... Yes, I am. Mike, how can she say that? I don't know. She's your girl. No. No. Okay, this is what I'm saying. This is what I'm saying. I have...
The cars we have right now are completely paid off, and they're in good running condition. They look like crap, but they run really, really good. They get decent gas mileage. So we are not selling them to get a hybrid, even though I'd love to, because that's a bad financial decision. Our cars are paid off. The gas mileage is decent. So what are you going to do? But when my car breaks down, I'm definitely going to get a hybrid. Even if an SUV is cheaper, I'm still going to go for a hybrid because my motivation is going green. So there's a line there. Yeah, but, you know, to each his own. Like my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, they had a one-year-old Honda Civic. Yeah. Hybrid. And they were like, well, you know, they heard on the news about this SUV thing and they really wanted a truck and whatever. So they went down to the dealership and the dealership. Wanted their Civic so bad, their one-year-old Civic, because they have such a demand. People come in and they can't get them. So they ended up getting a Ridgeline, trading in their CR-V for a great price, their Civic for a great price, and got a Ridgeline at like $8,000 under sticker. Oh. Yeah. It was like crazy, the price, because they can't move the Ridgelines. They want their Civic. So you can swoop up on some deals if that's what you need right now. It's unbelievable.
Yeah, it's crazy. Okay. Speaking of... Someone was definitely, definitely in a very weird place with gas in this country. And especially here in San Diego. It costs a lot of money. And all of us, it doesn't matter who you are, it really sucks what's going on with the price of gas. It's a ton of money. So we're going to make it weirder. We're going to make it very weird. And we're going to help you out. The gas will be on us. However, you have to have a Mikey Show P1 Army sticker on your car, a brand new one, the new edition, not the old sticker. Now, you can get them all over the place. In fact, Jay from Promotions said that they are trying to get them into 17 of the really high-profile cricket locations here in San Diego because they ran out. I'm telling you that the Mikey Show P1 Army sticker, the new one, was so popular they ran out. Whoa.
They're trying to get him back in these stores. You can get him here no matter what. Here at the radio station, we have the new Mikey Show P1 Army sticker. So what we're going to do is we're going to send Boston Rob out in a monkey suit. That's ridiculous. In the Rock 105.3 van. We're sending him out tomorrow morning, 7 o'clock hour. Hellcraft! So if he sees you and you've got a Mikey show P one army sticker on your car, come get your banana. That's right. He will pull you over in the rock one Oh five three van and he'll get out of the car in his monkey outfit, carrying a bunch of bananas. He'll walk up to your car. You'll get to choose a banana and it will have a gas card taped to it. The gas card will be worth anywhere from $25 to $250. Love it. Whoa. That's the gas monkey. Just him and that stupid monkey out there. We're telling the news today. So maybe the news will be out there filming them to see the gas. I mean, that's fun. That's a great news story. It's a great news story. So the gas monkey is going to go for four weeks.
So next week, we're going to have a different location that the gas monkey will be at a different time. But we're giving you the information today. We're telling you that tomorrow we're out in Hillcrest, 7 a.m., looking for Mikey's show, P1 Army stickers, the new one. Hillcrest. I know we're doing something else tomorrow, too. Mommy likes to eat. Yes, she does. Holy cow. This Ashley could put down some food. I've never seen anything like it, Mike. Well, Eddie, she says that she's on a diet. Let me tell you what Mommy ate yesterday. Mommy was hungry. Strict diet. Yeah, strict diet. Mommy heated up her last piece of Domino's Gotham-style pizza yesterday. She says it was delicious. Mommy had that. Dude, they pile on the pepperoni. Awesome. Mommy made homemade peanut butter chocolate chip cookies from scratch for her next-door neighbor, Don, but had to eat nine of them to make sure that they were okay.
How is that a diet? You don't want to give her bad cookies. Thank you. That's the FCC regulation. FCC. Federal Communications Commission. Well said. Mommy had leftover pizza and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. On her diet. That was all I ate. Check it out. How would you like to win a prize and compete with Ashley? We're going to start doing Ashley eating competitions. Oh, yes. Good luck. First one is tomorrow. Bring it, please. Well, here's what we're looking. How many marshmallows can you eat in one minute? That's hysterical. This is going to be interesting. If you can out eat our girl Ashley, you'll win a prize. We got to come here to the station at this time. That's right. Tomorrow morning. 8 o'clock, come down to the radio station, eat yourself some marshmallows against Ash. If you eat more than she does in 60 seconds, good luck. Yeah. Then you will win a prize. I think I could do pretty good with Marshies. Yeah? Yeah, I think I'll do all right with those. Eddie, what do we have tomorrow? I will look. I'll double check and see exactly what we have, but I know we got a good prize. It'll be good. So do you want somebody to call in to set up coming down, or do you just want people? No, no, no. Oh, okay.
We want to, yeah, call us right now and we'll get your information and give you all the details. Okay. Girls are boys. I don't give a rip. Okay. Holy cow. Look at this. We don't take anyone on. Listen. You'll take dudes on? It's all good, dude. Really? This is the thing, Mike. As long as it's a food that I like. Marshies. Marshies are delicious. Yeah, you're good at Marshies. And then I'll get after it. Mommy likes Marshies. Mommy likes Marshies. And then I'll get after it. Nice. So bring it. So tomorrow, if you would like to compete with Ash, and she's telling you right now, she's going to get after it. That's frightening. How many Marshys can you put down in one minute? Child's play. 570-1053. Guy or girl, you want to come down here tomorrow and compete? Call us. Especially with the Olympics coming up. Of course you can't. That's what everybody does. I mean, everybody does. No, not everybody. Not everybody. I love weed. Me, stoner flicks. Okay. You got to screw loose. It's 820. A judge ruled yesterday that Wesley Snipes must reimburse the government for court costs when they prosecuted him for tax evasion. Oh, wow. LeBron James is considering, he says, a $50 million a year offer to play in Europe.
Are you kidding? $50 million a year. Dude. Will he do that? No. Why? Because I'll make more in endorsements here. Oh. Oh, wow. But he says he's considering it. Yeah, right. He's a liar. Yeah. I bet his pants are on fire, dude. Yeah, probably. Okay, first of all, we have somebody that is going to take Ashley on tomorrow on a competition at this time. Oh. So if you're a P1 and you're listening right now, if you're listening tomorrow at this time, you're going to hear this. Yeah. And we'll videotape it and put it on the website. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll see you later. Stretch your stomach out tonight. That is absolutely unbelievable. That's a nice price. Yeah. Can't wait. Want to play this? Now, the Mikey Show presents the search for the truth behind the words, the logic behind the lyrics. It's time to play Lyrical Gangster. Ladies and gentlemen, as soon as Lyrical Gangster is done, we will be telling you about staycations. This is not a commercial. This is a news story. Oh, yeah. They're offering people pretty good bargains to stay in town. We'll tell you about it. In the meantime, Lyrical Gangsta is a game that tests your knowledge of lyrics. How well do you know the lyrics? Ash, are you a good lyric knower? I'm awful, Mike. Are you really? Awful. You don't pay attention to them? I do not. See, I love them.
You either do or you don't. Yeah, you do or you don't. And like me and my wife, we love lyrics. My brother, he don't care. He doesn't want to know. Eddie, you don't really care either, right? It's not that I don't care. I just can't retain it. And then I make up my own. Well, I just realized that I had been singing the wrong lyrics to a song for a little while now. Which one? It's a new little ditty by the Pussycat Dolls called, was it When I Grow Up? He thought it was When I Fart Up. For whatever reason, it was When I Fart Up. Okay. How is it? What did you think it was, Skye? I thought one of the lines was, because it talks about when they grow up, like how they want to be famous or whatever, and I thought it was, I want to have boobies. And it's actually? I want to have groupies. Okay, that's... But I mean, when a girl grows up, she does. She wants to have boobies. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Boy, you're grown up. Okay, well, that was... Entirely uncomfortable. Okay. And Eddie is now bowing to the audience and saying thank you. You are welcome. By the way, our pictures from boot camp will be up tomorrow, but Sky. Oh, mine are up from my camera. Sky's camera pictures from boot camp are up already. And you can see them at MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W dot com. P1 Yib. Yes. How you doing?
I'm doing great. Yeah, but how old are you? 23. 23 years of age. What do you do for a living? I'm an air traffic controller in the Navy. No way, dude. Hey, I got a question for you, bro. What's going on, dude? My brother was showing me something on YouTube yesterday, and I want to tell you guys about it. Like, I'm all excited because I just, I forgot about it, and now I'm thinking about it, and I want to tell all of my friends here on the show and listeners, too, and ask you if you know about this. But apparently there are some very talented people aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, and they make videos and put them on YouTube of like regular songs. Cool. Are you aware of this? I know they used to do something on the Reagan called Reagan Idol, where they would do like an American Idol type thing. But I'm actually stationed on shore on Coronado. I don't really know anything about the Reagan right now. I just thought you might know because it's Navy. But the deal is that aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, there's some extraordinarily talented people. And they got somebody on there that's really good at making video.
Yeah, I think they actually used some of that on American Idol. No way. Because one of the guys who I guess always wins the Reagan Idol auditioned and then they used some of that footage in the snippets about him last season. It's so good. They do this. They call it Four Blades Production. And I was watching them do Move Along. So if you type in like... Type in the word on YouTube. Go to YouTube and type in the word like Squadron Move Along. You'll probably find it. And Eddie, dude, you will trip out. What are they doing? They are lip syncing the song Move Along and they're making a video out of it. And the video looks like a professional video. Like, they do a pretty good job. And it's all on the Reagan? And it's all on the USS Ronald Reagan. In fact, my brother says they got in trouble for one of the videos that they made. Why? Because they were showing some areas on the ship that you're not really allowed to show. Squadron. That did it.
If you go to YouTube and you type in Squadron Move Along, you'll see it. And during the break, I'm going to show it to you guys here. It's pretty amazing. Okay, so let's do this. I'm going to give you three categories and you choose one. Is that cool, P1Yib? That works for me, Mike. All right, dude. Your categories are Divas, 80s Rock, and Love Songs. Which one do you want? observation of Gas, Monkey, Bean, and Hillcrest. I'm going to have to go with D.Va. Hello. Hey, baby. Here is your D.Va's question. In the song, If I Could Turn Back Time by Cher. She says, pride's like a knife. It can cut deep inside. Words are like weapons. They wound when. They wound sometimes. Ironically enough, this video filmed on an aircraft carrier. That is right. Quite a segue. That's right. Most of the guys that are in the Navy did not wear the same outfit that she was wearing at the time. You may or may not remember the outfit she was wearing. Her thing is, I'm wearing that outfit right now. But, Serene, you can pull it off.
I can pull it off. Cher really couldn't. That's good. I like your cheek tattoo. Yeah, you guys want to see this side right there? That's nice. What do you guys think about that right there? Like you're winking at me. What do you think of that right there? Oh, hello. Let's see. P1 Hamachek is on the line. Hello there, Hamachek. Or is it Hamamachek? I don't know. It could be. It's one of the two. That's funny, but banana check is offensive. That is correct. Okay. That is correct. P1 Hamachek, how old are you? You're how old? 23. 23. What do you do? I'm a mechanic. Sweet. What kind of cars do you work on? Everything or a particular kind? Everything, but I work at a Ford dealer. Nice. All right, brother. Let's do this. Your categories are 80s rock, divas, and love songs. I'm in the mood for love. Let's do it. Here is your question. In the song More Than Words by Extreme, he says, what would you do if my heart was what? That would be correct. Nicely done.
We used to do this all the time. That is right. That's fantastic. That is fantastic. Remember the drive-by? Yes, I do, Eddie. Yes, I do. We nailed his harmonies, dude. We do. We were like a super group. We were like a super group. Thank you. Driving around in a 1982 Toyota pickup. We were like a super group. Okay. Thank you. Hammacek. You got to do that. Yes, sir. Hang on the line, Hammacek. You're welcome. Well done. P1 Porkchop is on the line. Hey, Porkchop. Thank you very much. Porkchop, how old are you? 26. Porkchop's a female. That's right. Porkchop is a female. Why do you call yourself Porkchop? I don't know how it came about. I used to know a girl was so ugly, I used to have to tie one around her neck just to get dogs to play with her. Okay. I'm good, Ashley. Right here on the spot, even though I've been using it for eight years. You are so talented. That's right. Thank you very much. Porkchop, what do you do for a living? I work in escrow. You do? Is it a tough time for you to be doing that, or is it a good time? It's a horrible time. Uh-oh. Well, this is going to make you... Sucks to be you. That's right. Well, we'll try to make you happy by winning something here, okay? All right. All right. Your categories, 80s rock, love songs, and divas. Let's try 80s rock. You got it.
Your 80s rock question is, in the song Love Bites by Def Leppard, he says, love bites, love bleeds. It's bringing me to my what? You are correct. Yeah. Yeah. There it is. So good. Man, I can almost... I can almost smell the broken ashtray in my Toyota pickup right now. Is that the one I kicked off? It is, it is. Well, I didn't mean to. The one that you vandalized. I didn't vandalize. He must have apologized. No, he didn't apologize. In fact, Skye, he laughed hysterically. He laughed hysterically. Hang on the line, Porkchop. Next up is P1 Derek. Derek, how are you? Come on, Derek. Good.
Derek, what do you do for a living? Tech support. What is it? Tech support. I can't hear the first answer people give me today. No matter what it is, I have to say, what? What? What? What? You work in tech support. Yeah. What? Okay. How long have you been doing that, Derek? A couple of years. Nice. You good at it? Decent. You want to do it the rest of your life? Something like that. I want to eventually be a dancer. That's right, Mike. I'm working towards the ballet. Love to dance. Your categories, Derek, are love songs, divas, and 80s rock. What do you want? 80s rock. You got it. Your 80s rock question is, in the song Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue, he says he's the one they call Dr. Feelgood. Duh. He's going to be your what? Derek. He's not going to be your doctor. He's going to be your Frankenstein. Sorry about that, Derek. Derek, it's a bad day for you. I'm sorry. Alright, we'll see ya. Next up, P1 Kenny. Kenny, what do you do? What is up with you, dude?
I am an information security specialist. Information security specialist. A what? A what? What is that? What do you do? I'm a consultant for several companies in San Diego, basically just looking at their information security practices. Look at how fancy your pants are. All right. Well, here are your categories, dude. You got 80s rock. divas and love songs, which one do you want? Against my better judgment, I'm going to go with divas. Oh, I like you. Your question is, in the song No One by Alicia Keys. Oh, it's gorgeous. Oh, it's a great song, No One by Alicia Keys. Wait till I sing this one. In that song, in that song, she says, you and me together through the days and nights, I don't worry because what? Sorry, guys. Oh, Alicia doesn't worry because everything's going to be all right. I don't care. I saw a clip of you on YouTube. This is awesome. Kenny, hang on the line, will you? Why? He lost. Don't go. Oh, yeah. Hey, hang on. Just say, hey, Kenny. We'll see you later, buddy. Last player is P1 Dustin. Dustin, how are you? Doing pretty good, Mike. All right.
All right, cool. How old are you, Dustin? 23. All right, cool. And what do you do? I work in the new accounts department for a financial corporation. All right, cool. I'm going to give you three categories and you choose one for me, okay? We got love songs, divas, and 80s rock. Which one do you want? Love songs. You got it. Your love songs question is, in the song, Waiting for a Girl Like You by Foreigner. Ooh. Mm-hmm. Yeah. He says, I've been waiting for a girl like you to come into my life. I've been waiting for a girl like you. Your loving will what? Dude, your loving will survive. Dude, I'm very sorry. Oh, I'm so bummed. I'm so bummed that we didn't get to do the next one. Let's do it. Play with somebody. Let's play with Sky.
What category is it? Let's see what category it is. Category is love songs. Oh, that'd be the category you'd choose. I would choose that one. I would choose that one, Eddie. I know, I know. Sky. All right, all right. In the song Truly by Lionel Richie. Oh, no. Oh, come on, Sky. Okay. Lionel says, let me hold you. I need to have you. It's a family show. Eddie, that is not. No, Eddie. I need to have you where, Skye? Oh, in my heart. No. Okay, wait, wait. Try again. Sing me the first part and see if that makes a difference. Because I can't even get the tune in my head right now. Neither can I. Play the first part. Let me hold you. I need to have you. Have you.
Let me hold you. I need to have you near me. Because I'm truly with you, girl. I'm much blacker. It's just gorgeous. Yeah, I used to sing that to a girl named Lonnie when I was in eighth grade. All right, we'll take a quick time and we come back. She never knew it. I did it in the bathroom. That is a true story. And when we come back, we get some really good stuff for you. When we come back, I'm going to tell you about a kid that found a $5,500 gold nugget on a trip. Wow, well, hello. Yes, where was it? I lost three of them. So we'll do that. One fell out of my brassiere. Yes. Shut up. I was using it as a paperweight. In my brassiere? That's right. It continues.

Does coffee. Does tea. Does food. And now smoothies. Now they do Alyssa Milano. Jeez. So creamy. It's called Vivano. They actually call it Vivano. Nourishing. Nourishing. Am I saying that right? Nourishing. Nourishing blends. Yeah. There you go. That's cool. What is ageless? Thank you. What is ageless? It's this new thing I came across. Her face was seriously ageless the remainder of the night. I couldn't stop looking at myself. Sky, you speak. I want to know what. I couldn't. I look great. Pause, pause. Hang on, Ash. I got to see what Sky interprets this as. You speak, Ashley. Yeah, this is a tough one. Like, normally I know exactly what she's trying to get at. This one, I'm just taking a guess. Just a stab in the dark here.
I think she means that she was so well rested after her nap that her face was just so refreshed. There wasn't any like wrinkles or, you know, bags under her eyes because she was so refreshed from her extra long nap. Ashley, is that what you meant? Exactly. My face was completely like reinvented. Let her talk. It's awesome, though. It's awesome. Well, you look gorgeous. Well, it's not so much this morning, though, Skies. It looked even better last night. Oh, dude. Flawless. Like, it was weird. Then she says that her honey came over for an hour because he had to go home to handle his. Emphasis on his. Right. He had to go home to handle his-ish. His ish? You guys, I don't know. You don't know what's up with ish? It's a word. Like issue? No, it's like, you know, I don't try to cuss so much. You can't cuss on the air. Handle his stuff, if you will. Like that would be. You haven't heard that? It's very cool to say that. And he just had to look like, well, of course I haven't. I'm 35. I mean, come on. I'm a hormone.
I will tell you this. Ashley started off this email by saying, first and foremost, mommy took her Adderall today. Yes. I can tell. I can tell. She is something else. She is cracked out. That's right. One of those drawers. We keep our garbage can in a drawer. Right. You know what I'm talking about? One of those, like, slider drawers. I don't like it. No? Nope. Oh, I wish I had one of those. No, you don't, Skye. Why? What's the problem? They suck. Hey, don't need to get all crazy. Yeah. They work on these rollers. Right. And it's the same kind that, like, sometimes you have in an office desk. Right. And it's all, like, eh, eh, eh, like all stuck, you know? So I sprayed some silicone spray in there, and it's a little bit better. That's me trying to open up the garbage drawer. Wow. Well, that's weird.
You hear how hard it is just to throw a piece of paper towel away? That was me yesterday trying to open up a garbage drawer. Hey! I can't hang on. I can't. It's only for your wife to help you open that. Maybe she knows how. Maybe there's a combination. He also needed a jar of pickles open. I had to fix the ice maker yesterday. Oh, how'd you do? I did all right. I had to put a towel on the floor and start breaking ice. And while I was at it, I started breaking mothers off. Oh, wow. I don't believe you did that. I don't believe you did that. Well, didn't you hear he put a towel down first? That doesn't matter. Oh, it doesn't? My brother is a Barack Obama supporter. Yeah. Sadly. Sadly. Awesomely. It's a word, right? And he watches this video about Obama. It's all brainwashing. Do you smell what Barack is cooking? It has this song, Obama.
Obama, Obama, Obama. And it's like brainwashing. 20 minutes later, I'm singing that thing. And I'm like, I don't even like Barack Obama. It's all slickly produced, all Hollywood and everything. That's all the Democrats are, Mike. Yeah, pretty. Nothing of substance. No substance. It's just pretty slick. It's all good looking stuff on the outside. Like Bill Clinton. Yeah, dude. It's industrial light and magic. I'm sorry, Sean. Oh, really? Explain John McCain's wife then. Chetty, what's up then? Democrats, dude. Democrats are a bunch of green screen. Explain that, bro. They're a bunch of green screen. What does John McCain's wife have to do with John McCain? She's gorgeous. Why does that have to do with anything? She's a Republican. She's the first lady of John McCain. What I'm saying, though, actually, I can't pay your property taxes in San Diego. Huh? Like, we don't got enough problems. Pay your property taxes, lady. All right. You got us there.
Al Gore has a $2,000 a month bill. $12,000. No, he finished the renovations. He finished $12,000. Hey, stick to the subject, Cloud School. You're the one who's going all, oh, Al Gore does this and Al Gore does that. You're the one who's all, Cindy McCain does this. Well, yeah, we're talking about the McCain's and the Obama. We're talking about the Obama's and the McCain's. Can you smell what the Mac is cooking? Yeah, Mac. McCain, I know. I talk about it. Worst. Prehistoric. Could start drilling for oil in that guy, huh? Hey, let me tell you something. Don't need to go offshore, bro. I found out Barack Obama believes that in an appropriate fashion, offshore drilling is not out of the question. Oh, really, Sky? Whoa. If done appropriately. Yeah?
I can't stand politicians. I can't stand politicians. Tell us why it's okay. You mean like McCain who when he was running in 2000 said he was totally against it and now that's his great idea to save America? I won't disagree with you. I won't disagree with you. All I know is that this Barack Obama stuff is weird. It's creepy. He's got awesomeness on his side. Change. Hope. Spare change? False hope. Whatever. Scott, it doesn't creep you out about Barack Obama and how like just it's almost like he has magical Jedi powers to make people like him. No, I love that about him and I hope it'll rub off on other countries so they'll start to like us again and we can have good relations around the world.
You mean we have good relations around the world with Barack Obama as a junior senator from Illinois? No, if he becomes president, Mike. How do we know that he's great at that? Because you just said he has magical powers to make people like him. Okay, let me rephrase. He has magical powers to have Americans like him. No, people, not Americans. Really? So you're telling me Muslims are in love with him too. There have been polls in Europe, and yes, they are Obama supporters in Europe. They would rather have America run by Obama than McCain. Fake stats, I love them. They're better than anything I've ever heard in my life. Sean's the smartest guy I know, so it's true. I don't get it. Check this out. Politics, John McCain, Barack Obama. Now it's time for the YouTube clip of the day. Well, you know that McCain had this ad. Oh, the worst. You know, I kind of have to agree. I don't know that that ad was really something I would have suggested. Yeah. The idea of the ad was like, people like Britney Spears because she's a celebrity. And people like...
Paris Hilton because she's a celebrity. And I'm kind of like, well, first of all, no, we really don't. And that they like Barack Obama because he's a celebrity. But that doesn't necessarily make Britney Spears like a great mother because she's a celebrity. Doesn't make them qualified for the job just because they're a celebrity. Thank you. Was the point of his ad. Which was lame. It's true. I think that if I were... suggesting to John McCain you make an ad, I would just say, hey, John, why don't you just point out that the guy, he didn't say anything. And when he does say stuff, he changes his mind. Like McCain does, yeah. McCain changed his mind on the offshore things, guy. They all do it, please. Fight, fight. Yeah, and everybody that's running for office is about change, or else why would they run for office? Thank you. Yeah, I agree. My platform is what everybody else is doing. I'm just going to name it. My platform is to sound hopeful. And he does. Based on nothing, Mike. It doesn't have to be based on anything. A Star Wars A New Hope. Hope floats. Episode 4.
How about back to the YouTube clip before we start fighting? So, in John McCain's ad, he's making fun of Paris Hilton, so Paris Hilton responded. Cut one. Oldest celebrity in the world. Life's super old. Old enough to remember when dancing was a sin and beer was served in a bucket. Is he ready to lead? Hey, America, I'm Paris Hilton, and I'm a celebrity, too. Only I'm not from the olden days, and I'm not promising change like that other guy. I'm just hot. But then that wrinkly white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I'm running for president. So thanks for the endorsement, white-haired dude. And I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead. And now I want to present my energy policy for America. Just as soon as I finish reading this article on where I can fight her to get the best hand. Okay, so here's my energy policy. Barack wants to focus on new technologies to cut foreign oil dependency. And McCain wants offshore drilling.
Well, why don't we do a hybrid of both candidates' ideas? We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars. That way, the offshore drilling carries us until the new technologies kick in, which will then create new jobs and energy independence. Energy crisis solved. I'll see you at the debates, bitches. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go pick out a vice president. I'm thinking Rihanna. I'll see you at the White House. And I might paint it pink. I hope that's cool with you guys. I approve this message because I think it's totally hot. He did virtually everything about it. It's funny. I have ears. I hear her genius comic timing. That's the greatest part. How many times has she coached? You think that was a first take? That's the 900th take. That's what we got. The editor of that clip has carpal tunnel. You'll get it.
Sprained his index finger. Holy cow. You guys want to hear Anderson Cooper going, like he just starts flipping out about Lindsay Lohan's mom and the show Living Lohan. He was on live with Regis and Kelly and he just starts flipping out. Play it for you. Another reason to switch to Geico. Instead of paying more for car insurance, you'd rather pay less. sleep train mattress centers. And the morning commute still hanging on through Escondido on the South 15. Two vehicles on the right block in the slow lane. Move it to the left before Mira Mesa. This is Mike Hancock with traffic for Rock 105.3. BMW Encinitas. Between the 5 and El Camino Real. Or go to BMWEncinitas.com. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the whole Mikey Show. KIOC. Now back to the Mikey Show. With Mikey. I want my want like I want my want. Eddie. Well, I'm married. No. The sky. I get the news together. And I know... The news. Sean. I love it when black people make fun of white people. Boston Rock. I'm a go-getter. No way driver. The Mikey Show's on. No! Rock 105.3. Well, my friend, the time has come. Let the news and I'm so... You just... Did you... I don't know. Don't repeat it. Eddie, I don't think that's what the song says. I'm singing the lyrics. Why are you freaking out? No, no, no, no, no. Those aren't the lyrics. He says, A-O. The show. You are so embarrassed right now. It's 920. Morgan Freeman is doing well now after surgery to repair damage from his car accident Sunday night. The Broncos' Brandon Marshall is suspended for the first three games of the season for violations of the NFL personal conduct policy, meaning he's going to miss the first game against the Chargers. That's really good. No, that's chorus line. That's chorus line. Hey, that's like a rockette.
No, don't do that. Don't do that. No, no, no, no, no. No fake pom-poms. No fake pom-poms. No air pom-poms. That was really, really uncomfortable. Rob is not having any of you right now. Yeah, Rob didn't enjoy it. Rob was not a fan. Come on, dude. Come on, stand up and do a gay cheerleader. Yeah, I'm not gay, so. What you were doing was fine. I'm top of the pyramid. Fine. I call Big Spoon then. Mikey, it's P1G Man here. I just wanted to let you guys know that I dated a 22-year-old with a dozen stuffed animals and had to break it off with her because it was too creepy to sleep there. They all had names. Duh. Names? Right? Like, that's insensitive. Yeah. Mikey, you have a better girl's voice than Ashley. That's P1M. Congratulations, Mike. Wow. Mikey, how do you feel about Obama voting against English as the national language? Didn't know anything about it.
Yeah, and just so there's no confusion, I believe what he's talking about is, you know, designating a national language. That'd be wrong. Yeah, saying that everyone has to speak English. Has to? Or what, you go to jail? Yes, they lock you up and make you sing girl songs. You and my brother would. Yeah, I actually got an Obama shirt. I keep forgetting to wear it in here. Don't do that. I gotta wear it in here. Come on now. You guys will love it. Which one is it? He's fist bumping his wife on the front. These are the stupidest shirts I've ever seen. Is that for real? Is that for real? You're the stupidest shirt. I haven't seen that. Is that real? For real? Yeah, they have like a few of them. I haven't seen it. They're ridiculous. Like there's one of his face like four times with different like colored backgrounds. And on the back it says like change a bunch of times. Like I've seen people rocking these everywhere. Well, all I know is my candidate was Mike Huckabee. He's not in it anymore. Yeah, he was. And he was really my guy. And John McCain. was not my guy, but is getting the nomination, and is definitely Eddie's guy. Eddie really likes Joe McCain, and there's a lot, I think there's a lot to like about him, and I'll vote for him, and I think that I will get a John McCain t-shirt just to keep here at the radio station for when Sky wears her Barack Obama t-shirt. I can go change. Why? Why do you need to? Because I have to, listen, I have to fight the forces of evil, that's why.
Can you smell what the Mac is cooking? Wear that goofy thing in here. You'll be fighting yourself. Okay. It's child's play, Eddie. Your child's play. Garbage. Mikey, Republicans support getting their buddies rich at the expense of the health and well-being of America. Sing it! And are as morally corrupt as it gets. Vote Democrat. Let me speak to that for a moment. Speak to that for a moment. Person that wrote this. If you believe Democrats. do not support getting their buddies rich at the expense of the health and well-being of America. You are a child. I don't believe they do. You're a little baby child. I don't believe they do. Because, you see, it is not Republicans and Democrats. It's politicians. They're all a bunch of gokey-yokies. Huh? Bunch of doodle-dazz. I don't. I'm missing that last word. You're a bunch of...
Fuzzy Govlers, if you think for one second that these Benoodlers for one moment aren't going to begoff you out of everything you own. Is this Willy Wonka? They will shabiz and debang. They will ganoible. And dessert you. The snozzberries. Don't forget the snozzberries. What do they taste like? Shagatz. Sweetberry wine! They taste like silver shagatz to you. Mikey, 200,000 Germans showed to hear Obama speak in Berlin. I heard the speech. It was... And I believe 300,000 people showed up to watch Miley Cyrus perform on the Today Show. 100,000. showed up to see us at the Charger rally. So what do you want from me? These are statistics. These are true stats. Miley Cyrus for president. Sign me, Miley. Five people showed me, showed up. For what? For what, Eddie? To see me open a quick stop over there. Is that true? Wow. You should think about running. It was cool. Yeah. It was cool. It was good seeing Karen and Phil. They're really nice. This guy's going to go see Pineapple Express today. Come to the theaters.
Got my show times all printed out. There is a 420 showing in the Dino. But I don't know. I don't know, Eddie. It may be a little crowded. I don't care for the crowds. Well, good thing you're going on opening day. During the week, it's a matinee. People are working, Cheddar. Come on. I think as many people supported the Brett Favre rally. Eddie said 100 people showed up to the Brett Favre rally. 100 people. That's nuts. That's not so good. I bet the Aaron Rodgers rally would draw more people. Yeah, you're probably right. Which is ridiculous. Mikey. Hello. Oh my goodness. Hello. Oh, that was disappointing. Love it. What is that? From the trailer. What part? The funny part. Do you know the guy actor? Uh-uh. He has, like, a huge machete or something. And he goes... Miss Ride. And so he, like, you know... He acts like he's cocking the machete. And so he goes... He does. He pretends. It's a gun. It's hard to cock a machete. It's a revolver. Machete's a big knife. Machete's a big knife. Well said. He has a gun. A big one. A shotgun. Makes the sound that Sean... The machete's the same thing. That Sean just made. No, it's not. And he goes... Oh. And it's so...
It's funny. That is so funny. Oh, Rob, I'm sure you wouldn't find it funny. I don't know. Yes, it's tattooed on his back. That's different, though. You gotta be real. You started it. I love Ashley. I do, too. Especially when she's on her Adderall. Yes. It is amazing. Well, she's a trip. She needs more. That's the thing. Double dose. Ashley's a trip. She's really different from most people you know. I love her. I just want Rob to be real. I don't know. Somebody asked me, what's the deal with Rob and Ash? There's something going on right now. I don't know what, but there's something there. I don't know. No, no, no. She is dead on nailed me. I'm just going to put it out there. I'm a fake person, and I'm trying to lie to get the approval of everybody else. Sky, what is it? That's how I am. How come they... That's who I am. It's so... You know what I said to Eddie in Denver?
I go, Rob is so easy to get along with. I said, it's almost hard to like get into it. Yes. I said, but somehow Ashley is able to make Rob into a villain. How is it possible? Well, they're very close, Mike. They're like brother and sister and like any good brother and sister. They're not anymore, though. Okay, they used to be. How long ago were you guys like brother and sister? A year. A year ago. Like last summer. Feels like 10. But they know where each other's buttons are, and they know exactly how to push them. But why do they push them? I don't think I was pushing anything just then. I think he was pushing. For no reason. But, Skye. What? Ashley always thinks that it's wrong. But then you called him fake. Like, that was a little rough. No, no, hey, hey. That's a little rough. No, let me jump on this grenade. That was me pushing her buttons. That was. That was. Because I think in real life, he thinks that thug life is probably funny. It's genius. But because I said it, it was annoying. And then he just took that opportunity to be mean to me. And I didn't appreciate it. Because in real life, he thinks it's funny. So he's there thus being fake just to take a shot at me.
Get it? Is that true, Rob? Get it? Yeah, she's reading me like a book today, guys. Wow. I feel see-through. It's like one fish, two fish with you. It's not that hard to read, bro. Wow. Did you guys talk or hang out much in Denver? The whole time. You did? Yeah. He's my brother. I love him. What do you want? Did something happen? What is going on? Did anything happen? Did you guys fight? Is there a recent fight? Ashley's giving me the, if may I? Ashley's giving me the. That's weird. That's always funny. Lighten the mood. Did you guys fight or anything when you were in Denver? No. We got into a little I am thing. Today? Yeah, like 10 minutes ago. I'm going to come read it. Don't click it off. Don't click it off. Oh, gosh. What is going on? Are you okay, Rob? These are the worst. Listen, you're a grown man. Rob's a grown man. He doesn't need to be treated like that. She can be very aggressive. But whatever do you mean? Where does it begin? There? Tell me where it starts. That's where it started? No, no, no.
Oh, come on. That's where it started? Was it Ashley beginning it to you? It's not that big a deal. Is that Ashley talking to you first? Yeah. She's purple. Is she? I know. Which one is Ashley? It's Ashley. Yeah, that's weird. Okay. Now, wait. Is she talking about Zeth there? Oh, great. Oh, no. Zeth. Well, Zeth is learning a new job. I'm being so cool. You can read the whole thing on air, Mike. Zeth is learning a new job. She says, can you help Zeth out and then remind him of a sponsor that we have coming up? That would be awesome. Thanks, Holmes. And Rob says, I don't see when they come up. I can ask him to IM me. And she says, well, I think he's overwhelmed at the moment. And Rob says, yeah. This is where it gets. Oh, no. We're about to take a turn. This is where it takes a turn. Oh, gosh. This is where it takes a turn.
Hang on, let me put my Kevlar vest on. Hang on. Do you guys agree that up to this point... Seems pretty civil and normal conversation between two coworkers slash friends. At this point, Ashley says, well, get your A up and look, dork. Oh. You are the worst. And Rob writes back, then she writes, I'm going to kick your A. Whoa. And he writes back. So he writes back. You missed a line I wrote for funsies. Oh, for funsies. That makes it all better. And I'm fake. Oh. Uh-oh. And he writes back. So they need to do, and then it's like work stuff that people won't understand. But he says, so they need to do, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't understand. I think she was IMing someone else. But you got like wrong. Yeah, I was. I mean, Sean.
Okay. I got like the tail end of something. And then it starts again. That's the end of it. That's the end of it. Yeah, she says, what is this about attitude? She just writes the word attitude. Yeah, she wrote, attitude, nothing. So I asked her, what? I'm wondering. Didn't they already do that spot today? Right. She hasn't responded. I've got nothing. So I was going to go in there and break. And. There's been this sort of chilliness. Sky caught on to it. I didn't catch on to it, but Sky was like, I think something's going on. And she was right. There's a chilliness in the air. But there's not, I mean, listen. Wow. Listen. Hey, man, I'm cool. I want to get these two figured out once and for all. I'm cool, man. I'm cool. There always seems to be a thing going on. You should put them in separate rooms. They are, Eddie. They have to be. But, Eddie, they're in separate rooms. Oh, well, huh. I'm not sure what else I could do, what more I could do. Fire one of them? I was just playing. Oh, no. So did you get that she was just joking around, Rob, or no? I mean, I was 100. Yeah, Rob, she was messing around with you. Why did it upset you? I would never. I know. Hey, after reading, honestly, after reading it, it did seem like she was kind of, you know.
That little tongue-in-cheek. She was a little tongue-in-cheek. I apologize if you didn't think about it. He's a grown man. He doesn't need to be told what to do. I just, I just, I like the respect that I give to her sometimes. And then, you know, because we discussed Pineapple Express with her, that her calling me fake, like it's totally called for. Because of what you think. Rob uses a lot of sarcasm. He uses a lot of sarcasm in his arguments. In his arguments, he will use some sarcasm. Was I being fake there? I can't tell. Okay, I get what you're doing here. We'll take a break, and I'm going to have a conversation with the both of them. Uh-oh. And we'll get it figured out. You're listening to your favorite reality show on the radio. It's the Mikey Show. We'll be right back. You know what stupid is. The Mikey Show is on. It's about to get old. Federal agents raided four local medical marijuana dispensaries this week for allegedly not selling the drug within the limits of Prop 215. The Packers and Brett Favre are going to part ways after Brett and Coach Mike McCarthy met. McCarthy says Brett wasn't prepared to return to the team and says, see ya, Brett. The football team has moved forward. The train has left the station. Whatever analogy you want.
You know, he needs to jump on the train and let's go. Or if we can't get past all the things that happened, then, I mean, I have to keep the train moving. And he respects that. He understands that. That sounds very respectful. Wow. It definitely sounds like both of you guys are getting along great and probably going to be roommates at some point. My tomatoes. I'm growing two bushes, vines. It's not heirloom. It's regular. But I gave it to my sister who likes the taste of tomatoes. She loved it. To me, it tasted very earthy, which I didn't like. There he is, everybody. It's Old Man Baker. This guy can tell you about growing tomatoes like nobody's business. I can grow anything. Old Man Baker. Yes. What made my tomatoes taste so earthy like that? Did you use what I told you to use? Man, you said to put toenail clippings. Like nose hairs. Nose hairs. No, no, no. But not my own. That's for the...
Oh. You're getting things all messed up. What do I put for the tomatoes? What you do is you go get those yogurt-covered raisins. The yogurt-covered ones. Those are really good. Stay with me here. Okay, I'm sorry. Where's it going? You put them in your mouth. Yeah. You suck out all the yogurt. Okay. Then you spit. The yogurt or the raisins. Yeah, the raisins. The raisins. You spit them. At the tomatoes. Like you go, and you spit the. Yeah, hawk it real good. Okay. Right at that tomato. Yeah, and you hit the tomatoes with it. And then read it some poetry. No, you don't. That's a bunch of BS. They like poetry? That is such a lie that that'll work. Do you want good taste of tomatoes? Of course I do. This is what you gotta do. All right, fine. I'm not gonna argue with him. He knows what he's talking about. Then you pour some transmission fluid on your feet, on your own feet. Oh, just on your feet. On my feet. Okay, okay. What does that have to do with a tomato? It helps it taste good. All right. There he is. That's Old Man Baker. He offers advice to me on how to make my garden grow. So strange.
You know, I can't argue with it. It's grown well. It helps to name the tomatoes after famous actresses. Actress? For instance. I grew a Jamie Lee Curtis that weighed 5,000 pounds. All right. What else did you grow? I also grew. Yeah. Priscilla Presley. Didn't you grow a Priscilla Presley? You didn't. That was someone else, Mike. All right. What about a Cameron Diaz? You ever grow a Cameron Diaz? Yes, it is. How much did it weigh? How much did it weigh? It weighed 425 kilos. You measure in kilos? Cucumbers. Cucumbers, just in kilos. Cucumbers. That's weird. There he is. That's our good friend, Old Man Baker. He helps us with the garden. I grew. Go ahead. A bushel of grapes.
A bushel? Yes. That I called the Katherine Heigl. Oh, really? Well, how long ago was that, old man baker? It weighed 175 pounds and it smoked like a chimney. Oh, thanks. I called it a Katherine Heigl. How long ago, old man baker? That was yesterday. Okay. Now, I wanted to know because she hasn't been that popular that long. You know, she's kind of a new actress, so. I just go by, like, their personality. Thank you. And this one smoked a lot. Smoked a lot of cigarettes. So he called it the Catherine. All right, then. There he is. He knows a lot about anything that has to do. Ashley asked me to grow a Terry Schiavo, and I repeat. That was so inappropriate. All right. That was so inappropriate. See, that is... Extremely inappropriate. I will not take accountability for that. Because she wasn't an actress, right? Old Man Baker. I grew a cantaloupe, Mike. You did? Yes. Called it the Estelle Getty and it died. Too soon. Your cantaloupe died. Too soon. That doesn't even make sense. Old Man Baker. Too soon. What? Thank you. Well then. There he is. Oh, you've got it.
You got to screw loose, Old Man Baker. You know what? He's wearing overalls right now. Nothing underneath the overalls. Nothing. Really weird. So strange. There he is. Okay. You guys want to hear Anderson Cooper going off on the show Living Alone? Oh, there he is. Bye. Bye. Old Man Baker, why don't you stay? You don't want to hear the, uh, uh, Anderson Cooper is going to freak out. I grow fruits. I don't listen to him. All right. He's bowing. It's so weird when he bows, though, because you see his old man breasts underneath the overalls. Looks like Sean's cat. Yes, it does. Looks like Sean's cat. Available now at MikeyShow.com. Thank you. Weird. Keyword SAG. Oh, that should be. Cut three. Lohan is just atrocious. I mean, these people... Do you know about these people? I didn't know anything about these people. Apparently, they're quite well known. Okay, okay. And...
There's one, Lindsay Lohan, who is apparently quite famous for doing all sorts of things. Right, right. She's not even in the show. So somehow her mother got a show in which, because of this person who's not even on the show. Right. So do they refer to her? They constantly refer to this person who was never seen on the show. So I guess people are hoping maybe this other person, Lindsay, is going to show up. Right, right. But until then, we're stuck with these horrific people. Okay. And so, but it is... And there's this perfectly nice, seemingly allegedly a 14-year-old girl, looks to be about 60, but with concern and love. And she allegedly wants to be a singer and or actor slash performer of some sort, striptease person, I don't know. And I don't know that she actually has sung. I've met the little, but she was a little girl when I met her. And she seems perfectly nice, and I feel bad for her, but at 14, she's, you know. She's out there like her mom. It's like, alright, go out there. You're a singer. Be a star. It's like Anderson Cooper, the stand-up comedian. That's a good bit. It's all kind of true, though. I haven't seen it. I can't. Is there any TV shows that upset you to watch them? I can't watch The Real World or any of those types of shows. I can't watch them. They upset me. They make me mad. I love them. You do? So does my wife, man.
They don't make you... Sorry, don't judge me. Don't judge me. Doesn't it raise your anxiety level? Not even a little bit. When they're doing the drama and all that... I've never admitted this before. I'd love to hear it. I've seen... My wife doesn't even know this. I've seen every single season of The Real World since number one. You've been watching all this time? I don't want to talk about it. Make them take it back. The gauntlet. Come on. It's like my favorite thing. The challenge. Eddie. Eddie. I watch them all. Eddie. How many seasons would you say there's been of the real world? They just came up in their 20s. But it's like 22 now or something. Dude, did you see that? Eddie, you've seen all 22? I've seen every single one of them, Mike. Dude. You really haven't missed one. Not one. Here's one thing I'm really bummed about, Ashley. Yeah. is that I missed the season finale of Real World Hollywood because I was moving at the time. I don't even know what happened. Oh, dude. You know, actually, it wasn't that crazy. Like, Joey came back to say bye. Yeah, he was an alcoholic. Whatever. Went into rehab, Mike. Yeah, during, and then came back. That was bananas. Can we talk about this? I don't want to. I need to. You are like, I have to talk. I hold you to such a higher level of respect. Who is that guy? I vote no. I don't watch the heels.
I don't watch it. Are you sure? Yeah. I kind of would want to. I'm actually bothered that I didn't start watching it at the beginning. All right. I got questions and I want to discuss. So, Rob, you don't watch them, right? I can't. Anything on MTV. Walk me through. You watch The Hills. Rob, walk me through why you... And don't do any of this judgmental gay talk. Don't start calling him gay because we'll never get anything out of him. So be gentle. Stop it. Why do you not watch the real world? Okay, me personally? Yes. I'm not a girl, Mike. That's why. Excuse me. Didn't he try out for the real world? Yeah, he did. That was because they pay for everything for six months, dude. I have to do nothing. Their jobs are a joke. Why do you not watch it? I think it's really young. Like my, my girl loves it. Yeah. So when it's on, usually I go out and smoke while it's on and I come back in for commercial 30 minutes. Oh, so wait a minute. But wait, you're young, you're, you're 25 years old. And so when, when you watch it, really, it would be people your age. As weird as that sounds, it's still like the problem. Then let me say, then let me say what my deal is. If I watch the real world.
My anxiety level starts to rise and I get upset because they are so dramatic. Their drama upsets me and I want to take all of them and I want to go, stop behaving this way. You should, Mike. I do. I want to say, don't behave like that. You're acting like a child. You're being childish. People can see you right now. Yeah, yeah. So, Eddie, when you watch it, you don't have any anxiety level. No, none of that. I mean, I enjoy watching other people's messes. The nonsense. Yeah, it is nonsense. So does my wife, man. She loves it. I've watched every one of them, and I'll watch the next one. I've never discussed with you, obviously. This is a revelation. None of us knew this. I hide it. I hold you to such a higher level of love and respect. Is there anybody else listening right now? Is there anybody else listening right now that you could make an admonition like this? Like that no one knows. Like literally, I've been best friends with Eddie for over 20 years. I've known him since he was 12 and I was 15. And I'm 38 now. He's 35. Yeah.
I did not know this. This is something he said on the air right now that's a complete shock to all of us. I'm in shock. So is there anybody listening right now where you can call and you can go, no one knows this, but I watch Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Because that's shocking to me. Yeah. Sky, are you like totally, I mean, you know Eddie. I mean, I'm shocked because Eddie and I are very close. We talk TV all the time. All the time. And never once have I heard him mention. But you've never even, like, mentioned it. Like, hey, Skye, do you watch this? I watch it, and you know I watch it. Yeah, but you make me feel weird. Eddie, you know Skye won't watch it. No, she would never watch it. Skye, in your words, why? Because of the stuff that you guys said. It's just, it's too young. Like, I can watch Big Brother and enjoy some of their shenanigans, but they mix, like, you know, older people in. Yeah, it's an adult version of the real world. Yeah, yeah.
But the youngsters and the drunkenness, fighting, hookups, spa time. No, I'm out. That's crazy. That's crazy. Please, please. See, I personally think that they could do a show where they have older people because I think they're dramatic, too, just in a different way. Yeah, that's Big Brother. That's Big Brother. And I like that. I want the kids left out, though. But that's Big Brother. No, no, no. There's young people on Big Brother. How young are you talking? I want the age, the minimum age to be 30. Boring. Yeah, probably will be boring. Unless everybody's ready. That's what producers think. See, producers are like the youth brings immaturity. The immaturity brings drama. Oh, man, that makes me nuts. There's idiots in all walks of life. Sure. Idiot. 570-1053. 35253. Look at Sean is so tickled. Look at him. Look at the camera. He's so awesome. 570-1053. Text us. 35253.

To improve mileage, come by Chevron and fill up with air. That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder. lowering your mileage, but don't over-inflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air.
And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Buy Radio Shack. What else you got? Achy Breaky Heart should be on there. Anything by Fergie. No, Rob. Tag team. There it is. That's a jam. I like it. I'm just saying. Do you think newer DMs? No. They're not? How many times are you going to guess that? What about Billy Ray Cyrus? Stop it. It's not happening. I've already checked the list for that one. What about See, I think that we're going to hear these songs and go, that's not a bad song. It's somebody's opinion. It's some nerd's opinion that works at AOL. Give me one, Sky. Number 10 is My Heart Will Go On by Celine. That's true. That's a turd. You got number nine, Macarena. Number eight, Ebony and Ivory. I don't like Ebony and Ivory. Never did. Thought it was lame. Number seven, I'm Too Sexy. Terrible song. I agree. Come on.
I mean, it's, you know, for what it is. I mean, it's a novelty song. Did you like it back in the day? Of course. I'm American. See, I wasn't in. You walked on the catwalk? Oh, yeah. Chumbawamba. No way. Chumbawamba. You liked that. You liked that. Love that song. Loved it? Love it. Who let the dogs out? Who let the dogs out? That is the number one worst song on AOL's list. Way to go, Zed. Thanks. Did somebody just start playing banjo? I thought it was an auctioneer. Somebody's playing something backwards. Sean, can you get that? Like a juice harp or something. I didn't actually. I don't know what you were singing. Try it again. The city of Mira Mesa is all responding right now. What are you doing? I'm sorry. I think I... B&L, one week. Yeah, you know what it was? Yeah, that Chinese chicken song, I think. Oh, no. No B&L. Chinese chicken sandwich. Yeah? Oh, Barbie girl. It sounded like this. I'm getting it. It sounded just like this. Yes, John.
Barbie Girl is number four, Shawnee O. Oh, good one, Shawnee O. What about Lisa and Tigra? Oh, yeah. We like the cars. That's a jam. Go boom. We're Bonnie and Tigra. We like the boom. Is it on there, Sky? No, because it's a jam. It's a jam. Please. It's a jam. Number six is I Am A Woman. Helen Ready? Anyone? No. Oh, wait. Not I Am A Woman. I Am Woman. I Am Woman. I like to buy a vowel. Number five is You Can't Touch This. That was awesome. That was money during that time. I take umbrage with that. Number three, She Bangs. William Hung? She Bangs! She moo. She moo. You don't go crazy. What about, and then finally, number two on the list is Ice Ice Baby. Oh, come on. Don't throw anything at me. It's so weird because that was like huge, you know? It's the jam. Number one forever. You know foreigners on the Today Show right now, they got like a new lead singer? The real foreigner? Yeah, the real foreigner. That's not the original guy. It looks like the lead singer.
Looks like they walked into any classic rock clear channel station in the country and took the afternoon guy. And his on-air name starts with either uncle or brother. What's up with Old Man Baker playing the guitar? Should just change the name of the band to Old Man Foreigner. Seriously. Or it's over. Yeah. What was that dude's name? The Leasinger Foreigner? Graham. Lou. Graham Cracker. Lou Graham Cracker. It was Lou something. Almost there, Eddie. Lou something? Here we are. Lou Graham. Way to go, Eddie. You're welcome. New Dancing with the Stars lineup has been leaked. Is it Tony Danza? No. That was my prediction. Skee-ball? That was your prediction? Yeah. No, Tony Danza is not on the list. What? Should be.
But here we go. So this is the leaked list. This hasn't officially been released, and so it's not the full list. Who's the athlete? Dan Marino. No way. He didn't have very much personality. Danny Boy? I don't think he has very much personality. He'll be good. I remember the Isotoners. Come on. He wasn't very good if you got him out of the pocket, which makes me think he's not very agile. That's true. He's got bad knees. That may be a train wreck. Also on the list. Who we got? Toni Braxton. Yes. The singer Toni Braxton. Breathe again. Is that her? Yeah. We got the tush on here. Kim Kardashian.
Oh, really? Yep, really. A little extra fabric this year. Oh, you know what? Not everybody can be so thin like you. Oh, she's thinner than me. It's just she's got a lot of junk in the trunk. She's got some trunkage. Her body's banging. Oh, yeah, dude. She's got it going on. Her body's banging. It is. Reggie Bush, dude. It's all about it. Okay, we have Ty Murray, who is Jewel's boyfriend, rodeo. bull riding guy. Yeah, he's a rodeo clown, right? Also, this season... She rides on her tooth. Wow. Are you proud of yourself? She's a beautiful woman. Gorgeous. You got a snaggle tooth. She can open a can of string beans. Mike. Alright, we also have Lance Bass. Oh, last season. That's so gay. Wow. That's so gay. That's so gay. And he's going to be dancing with a male partner? Right. I don't know. I would assume a woman, but I don't really know. He looks just like Ellen DeGeneres. You think?
They do. They look identical. Yeah, he's pretty. They could be brothers. Don't they look like... I'm a man and you a man. Don't you think Lance Bass and Ellen DeGeneres are very similar looking? I think Lance Bass is the more feminine version of Ellen DeGeneres. That's kind of true. Honestly. It's kind of true. And then finally, for this season of Dancing with the Stars, they say Florence Henderson will be a part of the show. Oh, my goodness. She's up there, right? She was in the odd-against last year. I don't know if I'm buying this. You don't buy that? I don't know. A lot older. Yeah. Gotta be in her 70s. Who is that? Florence Henderson? She played Carol on the Brady Bunch. Oh, okay. Carol Brady. Really? Carol Brady. Weston Oil. She's the Weston Oil spokesperson for like 145 years. About the... story about in Puerto Rico they did American Idol auditions and barely anybody showed up. Well, why would you go to Puerto Rico? Yeah, this was the first time that they had done this and it didn't work out so well. You know, from watching American Idol, living on planet Earth, that tens of thousands of people show up to American Idol auditions. For sure. 30,000. Right? In Puerto Rico?
300 people showed up. Oh, man. It's like a Brett Favre rally. So they say that they're not even sure if Fox will use that audition segment when Idol comes back. What's the point? Yeah, because what's the point? It makes them look stupid if nobody showed up. Idiot! In Colorado, ran into a bedroom and killed the family dog. Oh, look at Ash. That really upset her. It genuinely upset her. She just got genuinely upset. This is what's interesting to me. My brother said this the other day. He says, you talk about a plane crash. You mentioned that a plane crashed somewhere in the country. 250 people died. People go, wow. You mentioned that there was a cargo full of puppies and they go, oh my God. He's right. What is that? It's crazy people, Mike. It's crazy people, right?
That's crazy! Because there's this segment of the audience, I think Ash may be one of them, where it's something about dogs or it's something about animals. Because they have this innocence, whereas people were like tainted, you know, we've probably done something bad to deserve to crash or something. But with puppies... But the animals don't. They are innocent. Your microphone is on. Did you know that that was working? People heard that? I mean, it's tragic when people die. I was going to say, for me, I immediately put Sammy, my puggle, in that situation. And I can't even imagine. Don't worry, the mountain lion wouldn't eat that. But Eddie, she's so fat. He would work through half of it. Halfway and be like, I'm so full. I can't even get another bite down. There's Sammy now. There's Sammy. So yeah, this is crazy. So these people in Colorado, they're about 14 miles outside of Denver. And I guess they sleep some nights when it's warmer out with the French doors to their master bedroom open. Look, it is a door. So the French doors were open and they woke up in the middle of the night.
and 30-pound mountain lion dragging their 72-pound Labrador retriever out of the bedroom and then eating it. Hey, listen. That's tragic. That sucks. But what a rad story you could tell. It might be worth it. And then the mountain lion ran off, and so the wildlife officials wanted to get it back, and so they told the owners, well... A pretty good way to get the mountain lion to come back to capture it would be to entice it with the carcass of your dog. Oh, my God! Because mountain lions do that. They feed on something. Well, it's not that they took the, the mountain lion took the dog. No, like, they dragged it outside, but then the mountain lion took off when the people woke up and everything like that. And what they normally do is they feed on something, and then they leave, and then they come back to it. Wow. Wildlife officials were able to entice the mountain lion with the carcass of, you know, this beautiful Labrador. Oh, my. And trap and kill the mountain lion. Oh, my. That's crazy. It is. Dragged off a 72-pound dog. Oh, my gosh. That was probably a good fight, though. Yeah, dude. Do you think it was a good fight for a couple of minutes? For a little while. Yeah. I would have thought that mountain lion would have put that sucker down quick. He would have, but still.
The dog would have got some good blows in it. Dogs are fighters. We were watching two days ago, I was showing Mark and Joanne, my brother and my sister-in-law, Man vs. Wild. It's the one where he goes and he's in the African savannah and he comes across the zebra carcass, the zebra carcass. And he cuts the meat of the zebra with his knife. It's been sitting out and flies are flying around. It is so crazy, man. Half eaten. My sister-in-law almost lost her lunch. It's pretty intense what he does. I think there's a new one on tonight. Are you kidding? Yeah, my TiVo said that there was one set. Do you remember where? Um, it's some desert. I think in Mexico? Pound for Pound. Check on Discovery Channel, Rob. Pound for Pound, one of the best shows on television. Easily. It's so compelling. Every moment of that show is compelling. Man vs. Wild. Uh, One better is Survivor Man. No, that's a terrible show. It's not a very good show. It's really boring. It's the only one that's better. It's a very boring show. You watch your mouth. Not really. He holds, you know, he has two cameras, and one of them he's holding in front of his face, so it's like watching Blair Witch Project. Baja Desert. Creepy. Baja Desert? Baja, wow. Baja Mexico. That's cool, man. They have hotels out there. Oh, really? That doesn't bother me. That doesn't bother me even a little bit. Two out of a hundred times.
I've seen that guy eat a live rattlesnake. Watch him eat that grub on our website. Say something about that. Where's a hotel in that grub blowing up in their face? Yeah. It's like this guy. It's like a sock full of crushed up bananas. That's right. It's like the guy bit into a balloon full of gooey snooze dazzlers. Like tapioca pudding. That's right. squirting out of your mouth out of a hot dog casing. That's how big it was. You say something about his hotel stay. I don't care. That's great. Dude's amazing. What do you got, Rob? So check this out. It says Bear Grylls is in Baja, Mexico tonight. He's tackling, you know, whatever the challenges of the desert. The biggest threat to his survival comes from a bee sting that swells his eyes closed.
Half-blinded, he battles a deadly diamondback rattlesnake. Oh, I mean, are you? What's the matter with you people? What's the matter with any of you people? Incredible. Pound for pound. Sounds like they need an exterminator at that hotel, huh, guys? Don't matter. Don't matter. That guy is the best. He's the best. He's fantastic. Holy moly. You see him jump into that... What is it in Russia, the Siberian? Oh, yeah. He jumped into that leg. When he got nudie. His little dangler. He said it hurt so bad because it was so cold. Probably like glass on your skin. Yeah, it's the coldest place on earth. Coldest place on earth. Brutal. And he gets out and he's got to put his clothes back on. And he can't feel his hands. I think his testicles fell off. They actually froze off. That is amazing.
clean off. Wow. Shocking. Shocking and amazing. Yeah. That's great. We got to go. 5701053 is the number. Call us at the beginning and end of every show. Call us right now. Oh, I cannot wait to see that. That's going to be so good. His eyes swelling shut. Craziness. Did you see when he got diarrhea because he ate from the, like it was a gazelle or something. It was something like that. It was like whatever it was, it was something a lion had just killed. We ate it. I thought that was the one where he ate the lizard and then he ate something else. I thought he came across a grub or something that pooped in his mouth and that's what made him sick. What? Stop it. He ate a bug that pooped in his mouth and it made him sick. That's disgusting. When he bit into it. Was that the one? Yeah, that's what gave him the diarrhea. It made him sick. I'm pretty sure. No, thank you. I could be wrong. No, thank you. I've seen him. He eats crazy things. He's crazy. I've seen him eat fish just right out of the water. I've seen him eat scorpions.
Grubs. What's the weird... The weirdest thing I ever saw him eat was that snake. That was pretty wild. He caught that... Sean, I showed you that, right? Gone. He's gone. Yeah, yeah, I saw that. It was really crazy. Where he cuts the... He cuts the head off the snake. Snake is still wriggling around. Yeah. And he just starts eating it. Yeah, he just put it right in his mouth and bit off a big... He had to, like, you know... Why would he do that? Jerk his head back and forth. Just pulled it right in half. That's what Rebecca says. Rebecca's like, why does he have to do that? He doesn't have to do that. That's so messed up. If you want to die, you've got to survive. Exactly. That's what you've got to do to survive. He's showing you how to survive. If mommy got hungry, she'd be back. And mommy be eating a snake. 5701053 is the number. Please. Will you stop? Will you? 35253. I would love to. 35253. I don't mind if I do. Mikey Show. Hi, it's P1 Mystery Man. Hi. Hey, I just want to know what your guys' take on Christian Bell being the new Terminator guy. Seems cool to me. Have you guys even heard about that? Yeah, I saw the trailer for it. There's not much to it. It looks cool, though. For the Batman in the previews. Yeah, he plays John Connor during the whole Rise of the Machines.
I think Christian Bale's overrated, personally. Yes. But I don't have a problem with him playing John Connor, but I think he's an overrated actor. I think he wants to be a much more gifted and sort of big-time heavy-hitter actor than he actually is. Blasphemy. Blasphemy. Thank you for the call. Thank you, guys. Mikey Show. I was wondering if I could ask... Eddie's opinion on Jeff Garcia is going to retire. Jeff Garcia? Eddie. Eddie's thinking. I don't know what this trade is going to entail. They may trade a draft pick and Jeff to Green Bay. Jeff may end up being Aaron Rodgers' backup. Jeff is a cool man. If he's called to be a backup, he'll be a backup. You know, I don't think he's going to retire. I mean, he had a Pro Bowl season last year, so he's got football left in him. You know, and he played in the CFL for four or five years. So, you know, it's not like he's all NFL banged up. I mean, he can still play. So, you know, he'll play somewhere. You know, he may be breast back up in Tampa. I don't know. I just think, you know, he made the Pro Bowl. Now, you know, they're slapping him in the face. Yeah, that is a slap in the face. But what can you do, man? Yeah, I like Jeff Garcia. I think he's a beast.
We went to high school together. Mikey was on the same football team with him. My freshman year, I stood on the sideline while he played football. Yeah, he did. How awesome is that? Yeah. Thanks, guys. It was weird that he laughed at that. I didn't know anything about football. That wasn't a joke. He went hot for teacher. Yeah, hey, Mikey, I just had a quick question. I remember you and Eddie quoting this one movie about this old lady standing outside of this big building screaming out, get your own hair. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Goodfellas. Goodfellas, man. Goodfellas. I'm going to watch that. Janice Rossi. Janice Rossi. Two over. Mr. Super. Get a whore lives in your building. Get your own husband. Janice Rossi. Mikey Show. Hey, uh, hello. Hello. Uh, how are you guys? Why, so serious.
I'm sorry. I'm just a new listener. I was just calling to tell you guys you're ever pretty good. I've been checking you guys out throughout the day. Very nice, man. Thank you. Very cool. Thank you. One of your P1s turned me on. I believe he's pretty obnoxious. His name is Ayo. Ayo. Oh, Ayo. Ayo. Ayo. Is this Ayo? Yes. Is it really? What a great voice. Ayo, is that you? Absolutely not. Come on, guys. Are you serious right now? Is that Ayo? Put him on the phone. Ayo. Yeah. Ayo, was that you? Nah, I mean, this is one of my little partners right here. You know I got to keep him in check like a four-year-old, like coloring books, you know what I mean? I thought you were doing a voice, dude. Nah, man, you know I messed around a little bit. Come on, man, you know. He was doing a voice. It was him? Yeah, of course. Of course. It was him? Shamo. Hey, Shamo, man, it was me. Good work, Ayo. Ayo, put the other guy on. Hold on a second. Here. Hey, keep your mouth shut. They'll be telling him what I do. Hello?
Hi, what's your name? Hi, my name's Alex. Alex? And you're friends with Ayo. Yeah, that's my light-skinned and black friend. I see. Okay, so let me get this straight. So you're a white guy, though, right, Alex? Oh, absolutely. Come on, man. I work on computers all day. I work for the Geek Squad. No, I got you. I got you. So Alex is friends with Ayo. Ayo's a black guy. Light-skinned. Light-skinned black guy. I want to be sure to let people know. Light-skinned. Light-skinned. Absolutely. Black and Mexican to be exact. Black and Mexican, huh? How do you like that? So, Alex, what do you like to do in your spare time? Nothing, just hang out and play Xbox 360 and just hang out. There you go, there you go. Play this little Xbox 360, and you watch any television? You like to watch any television? No, I just, you know, compute. I try to keep in contact with nerd, but he doesn't really like to keep in contact with me. He says I'm kind of weird. Gotcha. What about music? What kind of music do you like? Um, you know, to be honest with you, I listen to a lot of classical music. Classical, classical music. So, uh, you'll just sit there, you'll listen to classical, you know, you'll talk on your computer to girls and stuff like that. No. No, you don't do that. No, you don't do that. No. No, no, no. It's weird that him and Ayo would be friends. Yeah. I mean, pretty cool. How did you get to know your light-skinned black friend, Ayo?
Actually, I was just walking down the street, and a couple of guys were picking on me, and he just walked up, and he was like, yo, hey, get up off the little home. Wow. Amazing. Amazing. He's a gentleman. He's a really good man. He's a good man. He's a hero. He's a hero, really. Yeah. You know, ever since then, we've just been pretty tight. Oh, that's great. That's cool, man. Oh, that's cool, Alex. Well, you keep it real, homeboy. Hold on. I think AO wanted to ask you guys a quick question. Okay, cool, cool. I'm looking out. Keep your mouth shut. There you go. There he is. There's Ayo. What it do? What's happening? What it do, man? Ayo, we appreciate the phone call. We'll talk to you probably tomorrow. All right, for sure. Take it easy. Thank you. Mikey, show last call. Bring us home. Oh, my God. Let's get one quick. Okay. Good morning. My boyfriend is totally gay. All right. Any particular reason why? I came home the other night, and he was watching the Jack and Kate Plus 8 Marathon.
Jack and Kate. Oh, that's awesome. Plus eight marathon. Oh, that's a great show. Oh. What the hell is that? They've got eight kids. Yeah, they've got a bunch of kids. Oh, you want to look at Rob? Put that dress away. Thank you, Quimba. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. All request lunch today on the Nooner. He's unbelievable. He's unbelievable. See you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out.
