It's a Mikey show at 6.07. Well, it's been a bad week for Morgan Freeman. Just a few days after being in a serious car crash, it's been announced that he's getting a divorce from his wife of 24 years. Start spreading the news. Favre has a new team. He was officially traded to the New York Jets. Breaks his silence on his feud with the Packers. The bottom line in all of this is playing football. I admit it to my job and People say you need to put the personal issues aside. I agree, but I couldn't do that. And I think on their part, they obviously had taken a stance at some point during the soft season that they were going to move on and that's okay. But they sort of changed that stance a little bit when I got back up there. We sort of figured that would happen. Otherwise, they would have released me. My feelings about Brett Favre, they've really changed. I have a different feeling and take on Brett Favre than I used to have.
I don't have the same feeling. I used to be a big fan. But this whole thing has soiled his image for me. Well, what exactly are you upset at him about? I feel like what he did was really selfish and that it tainted the legacy that he had. That it was a real selfish thing. See, first of all, I think that it wasn't just like this was the first time this has come up. I think he's kind of hemmed and hawed before. Will he play? Will he not play? And so then when he did the big tear-filled retirement thing, hey, listen, we all make mistakes, no doubt about it. I just thought when you're making the decision to come back, I thought what he ultimately decided had everything to do with Brett Favre. didn't necessarily have much to do with the health of the football team and what they've already decided and Aaron Rodgers and all those feelings. They seem like they were pushed aside and it was all about Brett and what does Brett want. And now every time I hear him talking, it seems like it's all Brett, Brett, Brett. There doesn't seem to be much of anybody else involved in it. Hey, listen.
Eddie makes such a compelling argument. I think my argument's not bad. And so there's definitely a couple of ways you can look at it. I understand completely where you're coming from. But for me, this isn't Donald Driver we're talking about. This is Brett Favre. And he is that team. He's that team. He's that community. He's everything Green Bay Packers. I don't think anybody should come and go as they please. I don't think anybody has that right. And nobody's bigger than the football team. But, you know, I mean, if it were me and I'm not a Packers fan, I'm a Brett Favre fan. If I'm a Packers fan, I want Brett back. I want to win. I want to win football games. I want to win the Super Bowl. And Brett is going to give me the best chance to do that. And he is my football team. And so if he wants to come back. Even though we went through all this emotional stuff and all that junk, okay, come on back, dude. I mean, I accept him back with open arms. So what now? What will happen? What's the Jets deal now? You know, because it's so weird, Eddie. I thought I had just heard, like, I know I did. You probably read it, too, because I think I read it in Pro Football Weekly that Chad Pennington, quarterback for the Jets,
That he's looking super good, sharp. That his strength was back and that he was looking really good. Yeah, but it's still Chad Pennington. Sure. Bottom line is, and I don't, I think if you have an opportunity to improve your football team with Brett Favre over Chad Pennington, you make that move. You know, because the Jets made a lot of offseason moves and they're a contender now. And with Brett Favre, they're even more of a contender. And so, you know, I make that deal if I'm the Jets for sure. Pennington's had a lot of injuries. He doesn't strike fear into anybody, that's for sure. With old number four there, it's interesting. It's going to be really interesting. Brad Favre in a Jet uniform? This is real. Yeah, it's a done deal. Certain things you just can't imagine in your head. That's one of them. Do you know what he got traded for? No. Take a guess. It's got to be good, dude. It's Brett Favre. Well, yeah, I mean, you're trading for a Hall of Famer. Okay, because you said it that way, I'm going to take my expectation down one notch. Literally one notch. And I will say that they got a second round pick for him. No. Brett Favre, future Hall of Fame quarterback, was traded to the New York Jets for a fourth round pick. Oh, my God. Oh, wow. I want to know what that is, right?
Fourth round pick is like fourth decision, right? You do know or you don't know? It goes around four times and people trade and then by the fourth time they're like, okay. No trading. No trading. Here's what it is. It's like dodgeball. It's just like dodgeball. All 32 teams, you know, when Eddie and I would go out there to New York and they would do this thing called the draft. Right. You got every single player in college available and all 32 teams pick. And that's called round one. And they start over. That's called round two. They start over again. That's round three. Fourth rounder. Fourth round pick for Brett Favre. Future Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre. The Jets general manager kind of explains the deal a little bit better. Let's cut 21. We're excited to have Brett on the team for this year. And, again, we just felt like it was an opportunity that presented itself. This was just a situation that we just were kind of monitoring. And then when we felt like there was an opportunity, we just thought it was the right thing for us to do to go after Brett. Box offering, like a fifth or sixth round. A bag of peanuts? No kidding. That's weird. That's crazy. Babysitting for his kids. Kind of old Harper. Kind of old Harper.
Seriously, what drama, man. Okay, Eddie, now I got a great question for you. Okay, so now Brett Favre is a New York Jet. So where do we put Brett Favre in terms of fantasy football? How's Brett Favre going to be? What kind of stock do we put in this guy playing for us? You know, if you look at the talent level of what the Jets have offensively, I think it's kind of comparable to what the Packers have. You know, the Packers don't have the greatest wide receivers. I mean, they got some guys, you know. I mean, I think Brett's made them better, like Greg Jennings. And, you know, Donald Driver's a good wide receiver. You know, and the Jets have Lavernius Coles and a couple other guys that are all right. You know, so I think he's going to put up numbers still. You know, I think he's going to be.
Probably top seven guys. Now, when they do something like this, when they trade for Brett Favre, they're not doing it for him to come in and play a backup role, right? I mean, there's no competition. It's a done deal. He's the starter, right? Brett will be the starter, for sure. Wow. How bizarre. Here's another little interesting tidbit. The New York Jets will be here in San Diego the third week of the season for Monday Night Football. Really? Oh, my God. That's fantastic. I'm excited. Yeah, if you don't have tickets to that game, you're nuts. Go get them. I'm excited. Speaking of, the Chargers are playing this weekend, right? Yeah, Saturday. First preseason game against Dallas. Oh, wow. What time is the game? The game is at 7 o'clock. Okay. Saturday night.
7 o'clock. Yeah. And what's interesting is HBO does that series Hard Knocks. Yeah. And they're training where they go to a training camp and they follow a bunch of cameras and they follow like different players and stuff like that. Well, this year it's the Cowboys again. So you'll actually see them fall, you know, come to San Diego and do all that stuff. So that'll be kind of cool. Yeah. Wow. That's cool. Lots of good stuff happening. All right. Let's introduce and get the show started. And I'll give you our number so you can call us. 570-1053. Text us to 35253. We want to talk to you, San Diego. I'm Mikey. I am the host of the show. I'm 38 years of age. And I think I might be going to a pant size smaller. One size smaller. Check you out. That's good. I don't have an eating disorder. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. Guy knows more about sports than anybody I know. And growing up with Eddie, known him for many, many years, and was his best man at his wedding. He's been married about a year. And he's a funny person. Skye. She's our news girl. She's 30 years of age. She's wearing her boyfriend's jersey today. Yes, I am. Jim Riggins in the house. What up? I'm going to show Friday Night Live. She's married. Hi.
And he's a senior in high school. Yes, he is. Hoping to get in a good college. That's right. Not for the academics. You know how Tim is. That's right. You play some good balls. That's right. You could be a positive influence. I could. I'm trying, Mike. I'm trying. What did you want to play with? What number is he? You don't even know? 33. Shawnee O'Boy is our sound effects guy. Wow. That's right. He's very tall. And he watches everything on TV. Just everything. And so we'll do Sean TV today. He'll introduce us to a new television program. I got a good one for you, Mike. Uh-oh. For you. Ashley is our assistant producer. Blonde hair, brown skin. Ashley, not her real name. But she goes by Ashley to pretty much everybody. The only people that don't call her Ashley are like her mom, her dad.
Her brother and sister. My boyfriend. Oh, your boyfriend calls you your real name. Of course. Yes, please. I don't know. I thought maybe he'd call you Ash's nickname. That would be so weird. A nickname. If that ever happened, I'd dump him right there. Yeah. On the spot. All right. That's creepy. Yeah, I agree. I thought maybe he was, you know, doing it like a nickname. Uh-uh. It's cute. It's not cute. Not cute. But he's a fan of the show. Yeah, that's right. Not appropriate. That's right. Yeah, like if my wife... We're not on the air when I hang out with him. That's true. My wife called me Mikey. I think I'd be creeped out. Right? Yeah. My name's Mike. Yeah. She doesn't call me that either, though. Never calls me Mike. I don't think any of our spouses call us by our name. Only when I'm in trouble. She'll say Eddie. Oh, I know I'm in deep, you know. Really? I didn't know that. So if she's upset, she'll say Eddie. Well, it's kind of like Eddie. Like exasperation. Yeah. Yeah. Go run in your room. All right. Oh yeah, under the bed. That's right. Boston Rob. He's our main dude. I make my fiance call me that. Boston Rob. What does she call you? What does your fiance Sarissa call you? She calls you honey? Yeah. And she says the full word like my wife says hun. She calls you honey? Yeah. I don't know how I feel about hun. Really? Yeah.
What does Hun say? Because Rob is very opinionated. Yeah, he's got an opinion. He does. He has an opinion. Yes, that's true. So talk to me about that. Hun kind of takes on a whole new meaning. What is it? Not as sweet to me. Really? That's personal. Honey is endearing and sweet. And Hun is kind of like, why are you making a choice? You getting lazy? And now, Boston Rob's take on... Being called Hun. Yeah. I don't know. It's impersonal. You're getting lazy. What are you, Sean? Say the whole word. Obviously a statement. Wow, Sean just mouthed, what was that? I actually said, what the? Oh. And then finally, there is Roosevelt Zethian Oates III Jr. Esquire. He's 23 and in another room now in an isolated studio. Yep. We love him. He's a phone screener now. And he's doing a pretty good job. Doing a pretty good job. And Ashley always has a big smile on her face when I introduce Zeth. She does. She gets a big smile. She doesn't know what's going to happen and she's just anticipating. It could be fun. It could go south. Who knows?
in there and it's like a pitch black little tiny little like cubicle room and Zeth's just in there like in his all black outfit like slouched over like silent no facial expression like it's just funny to me wow I don't know what to make of that comment is she going to the sky school of passive aggression no it genuinely makes me laugh wow okay well you're a creep yeah Wow. Does that make her agree? It is. I was going to say warped. I think that many people, when they heard that description, they would say, oh, that almost sounds kind of sad. Not Ashley. No, hilarious. She says, ah, hysterical. Yeah, it's really great. That is interesting. 570-1053. Call us. What's on your mind? It's totally up to you what you call in about. You can call about anything. Or text us at 35253. Don't forget, this hour, Eddie will be returning the videotape to Bromo. Video game. Oh my gosh. After four years. After four years. Only four years. Four years ago, when we first arrived...
to do mornings here in San Diego. Eddie and Bromo were talking. Bromo works on the Dave Shelley and Chainsaw Show. He loaned Eddie a video game. And Eddie was recently moved, found the video game, and was like, oh, wow, maybe I should... Forgot about that one. Yeah. So he's going to return it to him this morning. And, yeah, I like this time of the show because it's all you. You get to call about... a comment about something you saw on TV, ask a question. It's open phone, so it's totally up to you. Just remember what a P1 is. A P1 is a Mikey show listener. So when you call in, you turn your radio down, get to the point and don't cuss. That's all we ask of you. You know, you got something you want to say and you get to it. Don't cuss. And we don't want to hear ourselves echoing in the background.
Everyone also listens to The Mikey Show exclusively for long periods of time and turns other people onto the show. Feel free to text us. 35253 is our text. Skye, I have the email news. Do I have the printed one? Yeah. Well, it's on. I printed it. Who's that? Who's in charge now? I don't know. Is it Rob or Zeth in charge of getting me that? I'll do that. I don't know. I know you can do it, but who's supposed to? I mean, it probably should be Rob since he's the one who's actually in the room with the printer. Seth would have to run from a different room into this room. Yeah, we'll have it be you now, Rob. Got it. My hand. No, this goes to the paper. Oh, wow. Big time. Big time. Let's see. Some texts we're getting. Mikey, I'm so upset over this whole thing as a diehard Packers and Favre fan. It's really difficult to choose loyalty. Both sides. screwed up big time. P1 Roland. So he's saying, Favre messed up and so did the team. I'll go with that. I'll agree with that. Yeah, I agree with that too. I mean, just put yourself in their position, Charger fans, and imagine if LT decided that one day. You know, I'm going to retire and then come back and then we don't accept him and he goes and plays for another team. I can never imagine him in another uniform. That's gross. It is.
Mikey Green Bay told Brett he wasn't going to start. That's why he retired. Talked to another player about it that played with him. Well, if they told him he was not going to start and he got upset and decided to retire, well, then what would make him come back? Because according to the head coach, that doesn't seem like that opinion's really changed. Well, two things about that. Number one, that would never happen. The guy was coming off an MVP season. Right. Why would they tell him, oh yeah, you were great last year and now you're going to be on the bench? That's ridiculous. And two, if for some miracle reason that did happen, the reason why he would come back is to get his release to play somewhere else. And it seems like that's exactly how things kind of did go down. That's what did happen. Let's see. Mikey P1 Rude Dog here.
Eddie, do you think Favre will have the impact that Randy Moss had for the Pats when he switched teams? It's possible, but, I mean, Randy Moss had an incredible season last year. So, I mean, to say Brett's going to have that kind of impact, I don't know about that. I do have one little extra tidbit for you guys. Oh, hello. We all know what the Madden curse is, right? Yeah. No way. Do you know who's on Madden 09 this year? Get out of here. No, no, no. Brett Favre. No way. Hey, listen, this thing's for real. Oh, man. If Brett Favre has a great season, it'll be the first one. It doesn't matter, though, if he has a great season or not. This is enough to go, yeah, that Madden curse is crazy. Oh, what's already happened? Yeah. Yeah, sure. I mean, he's not even on the same team anymore. Yeah. Well, what seemed to be nothing at all. And you look back at all the different players that have graced the cover of...
This Madden video game over the years, well, one does have to ask themselves, is there something to it? Brett Favre now, sag for the Big Apple, has to be asking himself, is there something to it? 570-1053 is the number. Love to hear from you. P1, Jake is on the line. Hi, Jake. Jake, are you? Hi, Jake. Hey, what's up? Hey, I just want to elaborate more on what you said earlier about Brett Favre and how you lost a little respect for Brett Favre. I said my opinion of him has changed. I didn't want to say what you just said. I didn't want to say that. I just said my... Right, but I mean, hey, listen, hey. I just want to say that, you know, I've been a longtime Brett Favre fan, and honestly, I really thought that that was...
the most selfish thing that an NFL player has ever done. I mean, we have our Ryan Leaf, and we've had a lot of people doing a lot of selfish things. But, I mean, to make a retirement statement and then, you know, to come back and say, well, you know, they don't really care about me, you know, and to come back and, you know, make it all about himself was just downright wrong. But, like, you're acting like nobody's ever done that before. Oh, no, no. Don't you remember somebody graduated here in San Diego? I felt that way then, too. Sure, I understand. But my point is, you know, this isn't the first time this has happened. Yeah, but it doesn't make it cool. No, no, no. But he's saying it's the most selfish thing anybody's ever done. I get what you're saying. And I'm like, hold on a minute. With Terrell Owens in the league? You know, we're saying that that's the most selfish thing. Yeah, I can't say that it's the most selfish thing. It's not. It's just it's another thing in a long line of selfishness. Absolutely. And, you know, it it's one of those deals, too, where I go, you know, it was just so unnecessary.
It doesn't seem like it was necessary. It's definitely hard to swallow. I can't fault. I don't know. Maybe it's my personal connection with him. Your attraction. You mean your attraction to him? He's rugged. He's rugged. He's gorgeous. He's rugged. I just can't fault somebody for wanting to continue his career. He made a mistake. I forgive him. And for me, let's move on. But now, I mean, you know. Moving on in New York. Oh, no. I forgive him, too. I don't. Broadway Brett. It's opposite for me. Broadway Brett. You know, with the whole Manny Ramirez thing that went down. Why does it always have to come back to that? I mean, every time. It's awesome that you guys forgive and forget. But, you know, Manny went to the Dodgers. And some of the things he said, it's hard to forgive for me. So, just showing both ends of the story. I'm really glad that you made that point. You're glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Thank you, Rob. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. Let's see.
Let's take some phone calls here. It's been a wild sport to you. Oh, thank you, Rob. Yes, it has. Anyone? Yes, it has. Let me cut you. P1 Pack fan. Hey, Mikey, what's going on, guys? Not too much. Welcome to Wisconsin Radio, ladies and gentlemen. Peace talk. Right. Yeah, I just, I don't know, this whole Brett Favre trade to the Jets, I've been a long-time Packers fan back when Reggie White, Freeman, and Favre was the crew, you know. And to see Favre go now, it just, like, it's put a really sour taste about the man in my mouth. I, like, I almost have, like, a hate toward the man. Why? Why? It's so disloyal. Like, even if you are, I don't know, I always thought of Brett as more of a team player. And even if the younger guy now is going to be starting in front of you, that, hey, live with it and be a Packer. Let me, uh, let me.
walk you through this and ask questions and you answer. What if the team didn't want him? Eddie says they don't. They don't. Not even as a backup they didn't want him? No. They wanted to pay him $20 million to stay retired. So how do you fault Brett for that? Well, I don't know. I always thought that Brett was above the whole money situation, I guess. I mean, cars now to his move. trade teams yearly. Yeah, but they don't want him, bro. The team doesn't want Brett. The Packers don't want Brett. But I think Brett could have worked something out to the point where even if he wasn't starting, he still could have been a Packer. I mean, how weird is it going to be to see him put on that Jets uniform? It's going to be, but you just got to understand that point. They didn't want him. In fact, Eddie says they were going to pay him $20 million. Who's disloyal here? I think...
the disloyalty comes from the Packer organization. I think it comes from you as a fan. I think, in part, it comes from Brett. I mean, there's a lot of bad things going on right now. I don't see Brett as disloyal. I see the Brett stuff as just maybe selfish, you know? Yeah, I agree with you. Yeah, Brett. And handsome. And rugged. Very rugged. These are all good points. 570-1053 is our phone number. Love to hear from you. We've got a few people on hold here. And so give us a call. Our text number is 35253. Today on the show, the gas monkey is going out. That's right, dude. Boston Rob is the gas monkey. And so we are sending Boston Rob out in a monkey outfit today in the Rock 105.3 van. He's going to Hillcrest. He will be in Hillcrest. in the 7 o'clock hour looking for people that have the Mikey Show P1 Army sticker on their car, the new one. And if he sees it, he'll pull you over, get out of the car or get out of the van in his gas monkey outfit with a bunch of bananas. Wait, by the way, wait till you see the outfit. Oh, my gosh. Dude, we're going to videotape it. We're going to have pictures. We're going to put it all on the website so you can check it out.
He's going to walk up to the person's car with a bunch of bananas and let them pick a banana. And the banana will have a gas cart on it worth between $25 or $250. Nice. Very cool. That's happening next hour. Also, a little tone-deaf karaoke today. Is it a good batch, bad batch, or what is it? What do we got today, Ash? He's very offended by that question. It's been a great batch for maybe two months now. It's been a great batch. It's Ashley singing and you trying to figure out what she's singing. I don't know what you want from me. That's right. We are also doing the YouTube clip of the day today and it's one of my favorites. It's an oldie but a goodie. It's an oldie but a goodie. It's the reporter. Those are always good. Dude, it's great. You know how when 739 is in the studio and they go, and now let's go live out to our reporter who is at the, you know, Pineapple Festival. Yeah, my favorite festival of all time. It's really a great one. Well, this reporter is at one of those local deals and she is learning how to stomp on grapes and make wine. That's my favorite clip of all time.
Holy cow. Now, I don't know who the genius was when they did this, but they decided to put this big plastic bucket of grapes on a platform that's about four feet in the air. I know. And so she's in there stomping with her bare feet, but she kind of trips. Don't ruin it. I won't ruin it. It's so good. It's all about the sound. I can't. That's all I'll say. It's all about the sound. Oh, yeah. So the YouTube clip of the day. And also, want to let people know, we went to Denver last week for morning show boot camp. You know, it's like a convention for morning shows. And we took pictures, and all of our pictures are up on MikeyShow.com right now. All the pictures that we took of us and each other and just out there and having fun and Eddie breaking a glass. Mike spitting on himself. Me, yeah, putting a bunch of, I got A1 steak sauce all over my shirt. And I made you douse it in water to get the stain out. Yes, she did. And then take a picture. Oh, by the way, okay, so that's there right now. And I wanted to ask, go see it at MikeyShow.com, M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. It's like the first thing under.
New on the show. It says, you know, pictures at morning show boot camp. Oh, I know what I wanted to ask. Sean, did you get the video that I sent you of Eddie and the glass? Did you ever get it? I don't think so. Let me just double check, though. Okay. I was having issues with sending it. I had issues with trying to send it, so hopefully he did. And so it's just going to be an incredible show today. Gas Monkey in less than 30 minutes. Yes. And also in less than 30 minutes. Eddie giving Bromo his video game back. David Tell in the stand-up spotlight. Show stand-up spotlight. Don't drink and drive, kids. Mixed messages, I know. Do not drink and drive. I've been there. I know how it is. I've been there. Look at me. I've been there, okay? I know it. It gets late. You're drunk. You're thinking, what's the worst that can happen? I'll hit another drunk driver, and then we'll just high-five and laugh. I got aboard. And it's because you just got a new house. Eddie just bought a new house. And he's putting some beds in, furnishing the place. Yeah, I heard you talking about it for quite a while. And I made the choice to go into Sleep Train. And it was a great choice because, you know, you really, their selection is awesome. You know, you can really, really improve the way you sleep. Did you decide to go with that sleep number or you went with something different? No, I went with the Sealy, which is the number one best-selling mattress in America, which I found out there at Sleep Train. I feel very knowledgeable. It has the pillow top on top, but yet it's still pretty firm. Yeah. So you get both. going there. That's awesome. It was really cool. I can't wait. My attention is in and out ADD. Eddie. I'm good at sports. You're not. Deal with it. Sky. I have my urine and my spam.
Sean. I'm an extraordinarily shopper person. Boston Rob. I get things done. And Ashley. I no longer enjoy large venue events. The Mikey Show's on. Oh, I want to get into this so bad. Rock 105.3. What's this, Seth? Tell me what this is. Where is he? He's not in there. He's not in there. He's not in there. Do you know what this is, Rob? Usher. I didn't know Zeth liked Usher. You don't get that vibe from him when he was moonwalking in here? I definitely do not get a Usher vibe from Zethian Oates. He knows music. He's very G. He's got it down. He does know music. He's introduced me to some stuff that I really like. He literally will come up to me and be like, what's that new pop song that they're playing a lot on?
The pop station. Like, he likes all music. Yeah. He likes every kind of music. And he's introduced me to some stuff I really dig. He introduced me to, like, this kid that's Kevin Bacon's, like, nephew. Whoa. What are you talking about? Yeah. He'll tell you when he comes back, but it's good. Oh, ludicrous? Yes. Kevin Bacon's nephew, ludicrous. It is 644. The Coastal Commission last night approved a desalination plant to be built in Carlsbad. The Padres hit three solo home runs to beat the Mets 4-2. What does that mean, Sky? Like, they are going to make water? Taking the salt out of ocean water and making it good for drinking and irrigation. Oh, what's that about? I don't know. If I like it. What do we got? Are you scared the ocean's going to run out like I am? No. I ain't scared of that. No, I am. I'm scared that there's weird stuff in the ocean water or something. That they can't filter out. They say they can filter everything out, but we were talking about it. It's like that toilet poop water. Yeah, the toilet poop water. In Orange County. That's what they do. They take the sewage and they treat it. Toilet to tap. Toilet to tap. Oh, is that the slogan? That's what they call it. Oh my God. I drink the ocean. I drink the ocean. I would rather drink the ocean than any day. I would too.
I don't want it coming from my neighbor's house just going, you know, flush and then up into my sink. Yeah, it doesn't. That's not the way it works, Rob. You got to get a Brita if you do that. Yeah. Takes care of everything. That's right. Text messages that we're getting this morning. Should we do this now? Let's do it now. Well. It's the same time as yesterday. Yeah, it is. So go ahead and get Bromo. Go get Bromo, Rob. I just wanted to read you some of the text messages that we're getting. Mikey, did anyone go see Pineapple Express? If so, what did they think? Sky saw it. What up? He was so freaked out to go see this movie. I was so excited yesterday. It was like the highlight of my day. And? I enjoyed it. Oh, there you go. That's not... Okay, let's talk a little. Hold on, hold on. Let's talk a little. You know, your friend's a little sensitive and isn't a big fan of violence. And I wasn't expecting that in this movie. I wasn't expecting gun battles. Isn't it a comedy about guys that smoke weed?
But then they go on the run. I love weed. I figured it's just going to be them on the run. Like a Cheech and Chong type. Yeah, but there was actual gun battles and things blowing up. In a funny way? Body parts being blown off. Was it supposed to be funny or serious? I mean, the movie itself was supposed to be funny, but I think when they're, like, doing these gun battles, like, it's, like, serious, like, gun battles. The spirit of it is not, like, slapstick. It's, like, serious. Not that I got not in some of the fighting parts, you know. So I enjoy it. I put it on the same level as Superbad. You know, the same funniness score, but just swap out all the gratuitous sex stuff for violence. So, you know, definitely like my husband loved it. He thought it was awesome because he loves, you know, violence in his movies, you know. But for me, some of the stuff I was kind of like, but lots of funny parts. So thumbs up. All right. Well, you guys know me. I'm not into the whole dope smoking thing. You're missing out, bro. James Franco was great. All right. So we're trying to get Bromo. Rob gave me this, sent me an instant message that said, send me his number.
And I don't want to be typing it out while I'm on the air. So I just waved to him with my hand like, come here, I'll hand you my phone. And he leaves. Well, Bromo said just go in his little studio. Oh, he did? I don't know where he's at. Somewhere over by Kogo. I don't know where he's at. I don't know where he is. One of those two. We'll figure it out. Yeah. It's like they're both sharing a brain, you know. Well, yesterday, Bromo from the Dave Shelley and Chainsaw. show was the topic of conversation. Eddie said, yeah, about four years ago when we first moved here, Bromo and I were talking about video games and he said, hey, I have this great game and you should try it out. So Eddie was like, well, I don't know that I'll really be able to. I'm kind of busy right now, but maybe I'll get around to it. Sure. So he loaned it to Eddie and Eddie's just moved and found it. Had it for four years. Oops. I didn't know what to do. I don't know. Do I give it back to him? Or at this point, is it a wash and just keep it? I mean, he's never asked me about it. And, you know, never asked for it back or anything. So I'm like, well, I mean, it's embarrassing now. You know, four years? Like, is he going to be mad? Are you uncomfortable? I'm really uncomfortable. I wonder if he remembers. It's his game. Yeah.
But he's the kind of guy who doesn't like to make waves. He's real chill. So I can see him just not mentioning it just because he doesn't want to make waves. I didn't want to tell him what it was, but I obviously had to tell him, hey, can we get you on the air? And he was like, yeah, I just need to ask Dave from Dave Shining Chainsaw. So I said, well, just tell Dave that Eddie has something that he wants to tell you. And it's not bad. So hopefully all has been approved. What's difficult for me is the guys as to what's going on. Well, tell Dave we'll give him Zeth. Yeah, trade. That's right. I mean, we're kind of coming out ahead, but...
Skye, do you know anything about the 911 call that we have, the Subway Sandwich 911 call? Do you know anything about it? This is great. Yeah, I just saw a little blurb on the news about, like, I guess the guy, the sandwich wasn't made to his specific order, and he was upset about it and decided to call 911. I almost feel like I should string it out. What's going on, Rob? Okay, so... Jay, you know better than I do. What's going on, Jay? Why is everyone freaking out? Dave just said, I walked down to talk to Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw, and Dave says he wants a fair exchange. If you want his person, he gets one of your people. That's fine. He can have Zeph. I think he said something about Ashley in a bikini. We don't even do that, Dave. Yeah, I know. I know. She don't have one on her. How about Rob in a bikini? Can we get him on the phone? Will he come on the phone with us? Who, Dave or Bromo? Dave. We'll explain. See if Rob gets so nervous and Rob is flipping out. He came in here like freaking out. He's funny. He's like, what's Shelly? What's her name? I don't know. She just told me. Call Bromo. He gets so worked up. He's not really a multitasker. He's worse than I am.
You're not saying a lot. Yesterday, man. I mean, he was, and it was something real. I go, hey, bro, take it easy. It's all good. Take it easy. Calm down. He's a little bit of a hothead. He is a hothead. Sometimes. He gets a little worked out. Oh, look at this interesting email or text message. Mikey, do you guys believe in global warming? Signed, P1 Mario. He just wants to know. It's like throwing a smart bomb in the room. I know. Come on. I believe in it. Yeah, I think it's how I mean, it's almost like you're asking, do you believe in ghosts or something? You know, when people say it question, do you believe in it? Do you believe in UFOs and global warming? Yeah, I think the planet's getting hotter. I believe that that he's not convinced. Listen, I think that everything happens in waves on planet Earth. We had an ice age for crying out loud. You know, I mean, I'm sure there's been times before they had recorded history that.
the planet heated up hotter than this. So you don't think it has anything to do with greenhouse gases? I mean, maybe. I don't know. I ain't no scientist. You're not? But you are a doctor. So that should count for something. Stop it. I'm just saying. You are. Can we have a serious conversation? My bad. My bad. You're always joking. Sky can't take anything serious. Everything has to be a joke to this girl. This is a serious issue. Who do we have? Who do we have? We have Dave. We got Dave. Hey, Dave. Hey, Mikey. How are you doing? Well, good morning. How are you today? I'm good. Are we on the air? Yes, sir. Okay, cool. Now, this is real simple, what we were trying to do. Yesterday, we were talking about how when we first got here four years ago, Bromo and Eddie got into a conversation about video games. And Bromo, being the gracious guy that he is, offered Eddie to borrow a video game. Eddie said, well, you know, I'm kind of busy right now just moving here. Sure, maybe I'll get around to it. Well, Eddie recently moved, and he just found this video game after four years. So he just wanted to return it. It was uncomfortable, and we wanted to kind of exploit the uncomfortableness and have him give it to him on the air. Yeah, we find it's easier to do uncomfortable things on the air. Yeah, communicate with our families and stuff. Absolutely. Well, by the way, congratulations on four years of crazy success. Thank you. On Rock 105.
All the Clear Channel employees here, thank you for turning that radio station into a success. Thank you very much, Dan. Wow. It was really cool. Thank you. Thank you very much. It's because we're calling ourselves the Dawn Patrol. That is right. That is right. We have taken on that name. Previous morning show, the first morning show that Rock 105 had, not that good. No, very good. It was very good. Maybe this has been just overcomplicated, blown out of proportion, but... With all the talk about Brett Favre and he finally now has gone to New York, he's going to be a Jet. The Jets get something for that. Right. And I know that Abramowitz has been on your show previously. Uh-oh. Here we go. I know that sometimes I've been informed of that and sometimes I have not. And this time, since I have been informed of it, I want something for it. Uh-oh. I asked for Ashley in a bikini in here for half an hour.
It stalled and it had me going. Dave, life is a negotiation. As you know, life is a negotiation. And I said to Emily, what happened? Everything just like stalled. And I'm like, well, I know Mike. He's a big timer. He's in the big zero. He knows this is how it is. Right. Stuff that girl in a two-piece and send her to me. Well, I say let's talk about it. I mean, you know, the negotiation isn't here's what I want. And then you get it. I mean, a negotiation is. Here's what I want. And then the other party says, oh, that's a good starting point. How about this? All right. How about Zeth? He's the Aryan-looking kid. Yeah, yeah. He's not very friendly in the hallways. Yeah, the scary-looking dude with a shaved-looking head. We'll put him in a bikini. How about that? The way I size things up. Dave, don't be like this. He's going to be like this. The way I size things up is we have to look at things realistically. And I am...
believe me, open to the opinion that this is only my opinion. And it could be cloudy. But I regard you, Mikey. Mikey, I regard you as a... Around here, I regard you as kind of maybe a Shia LaBeouf. I don't know. Let him finish. A very talented, very up-and-coming, very promising. Let's disregard his unfortunate... problems this past week. I think Dave's calling you a drunk. Yes. I think that's what's going on here. He met Shia. He's not dissing your drinking. No, no, no. I know. Shia may be a poor example, but I disregard him. Or Christian Bale. Christian Bale. There you go. The one who beats his mom. That's who you are.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a poor example as well. Yes, yes, yes. Mikey, you're more like Kurt Cobain. Heath Ledger? Too soon. Too soon. Too soon. Too soon. You're more like Heath Ledger without the death thing. Right, right, right. Anyway. I'm trying to offer a compliment, but apparently I'm torpedoing. How about like a Robert Downey Jr.? Incredibly talented. Yes. I get where we're going here. I get it. And I agree. I agree. Mike, how about Amy Winehouse? Yes. The difference is Amy's rehab didn't stick. It did stick. And it's been, let's face it, decades since he's awakened on some stranger's couch. Got it. Got it. Got it. Got it. I regard you as a very talented young star with so much potential, with such a bright future, that we are so fortunate to have here in San Diego working for Coachella. What is going on? However, having said that, I regard myself as more of a Lawrence Kasdan than a Steven Spielberg. You're right. I've been here for a while. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can't argue that.
don't actually negotiate. Okay. Please, if I can. Bromo isn't worth much. But they got something for it. That's true. Hey, listen. They got a fourth round pick. We're offering a sixth round. What's the difference? It's very similar. Now, let me make sure that I've got this right. Here we go. Let me make sure that I've got this right. The name of the show is The Mikey Show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, what we're asking for is a non-marqueed person, right? You know, not on the marquee. And if she were to be on the marquee, come on, we know it's not going to be second or third. It's not big. And yes, I know what a promise is worth, but hey, he's my bitch. Interesting. Well, it looks like we have definitely stalled in talks, that's for sure. I mean, would we be able to consider maybe Ashley but not in a bikini? Yeah, yeah. What about Ashley not in a bikini? I mean, that's got to be worth something. I don't think she has one handy. It's got to be worth something. I'm curious as to what your objection of having Ashley in a bikini is. Because if Abramowitz comes in there wearing a tuxedo or a thong, I don't give a rat to that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that's a perfectly good question. I've got a perfectly good answer. The answer is that Ashley definitely...
She used to be the bikini gal. And as you know, Ashley went through her own Amy Winehouse experience where, you know, she used to have that sort of image of I'm the bikini girl and I've got a drink in my hand. And then Ashley did a little rehab of her own. And now she's out and she's kind of grown past that image. And so she doesn't have the bikini in her pocket like she used to back in the day. She used to carry it with her. In my pocket. In her pocket. Yeah, it was weird. Just in case. Just in case. But she didn't have it anymore, and she doesn't go there, as they say. And so be more than happy to offer Ashley to you. I don't understand that. We're not asking her to come in here and do a jello shot. No, no, no. I'm just saying the image is different now. I'll just keep the game. But we'll give you Ashley. We'll give you Ashley. We'll send her down there. I think that's poor career advice because... She's been here for several years. Right. And Ashley is one of these women who looks better now than she did a few years ago. She looks great. Prime time, bikini time for her. She needs to be working that. Well, Ash, what do you think, Ashley? Well, listen, I mean, I'm not necessarily mad at myself in a bikini.
She ain't mad at it. I'm not mad at it. Mommy just got her hair did. I got a good thing rocking. Dave, you bring up a good point. Did you do anything bad to your hair? What did you do to your hair? No, no, no. Dave, I got bangs. You've seen. Everyone knows. It's changed my life. That's right. Well, I tell you what, Dave. Why don't we send her down there? We just send her down right now. And you send Bromo. This won't last long, by the way. I don't want this for long. And, you know, you guys chat it up, and we'll chat it up with Bromo. Yeah, I'd love to see Ashley for a few minutes. Go on down, Ash. We'd love to talk to her. Sure, Dave. And we'll sort this out, okay? You're getting the better end of the deal, Dave. You're getting the better end of the deal. Well, he's Lawrence Kasdan. Yes. Who is Lawrence Kasdan? Who is that? It's kind of a deal that you guys instigated. No, no, no, you're right. We just wanted to borrow him, and you said, hey, we want to trade. You got it. You got it. We'll send you ash. It's nothing personal. No. It is probably the better end of the deal, but let's not forget that this is not the first time Abramowitz has been loaned out to you. That's true. That is true. And, hey, listen, Dave, I respect you, and I mean it, and you've been on the radio much longer than I have. I could only aspire to be as successful as you have. Ashley's on her way down right now. Ashley's coming down.
Thank you, Mike. You got it, man. See you later. I love Dave. Oh, my God. I love Dave. That was much more difficult than we ever anticipated. He's right, though. I've had Bromo on a few times, and, you know, so there you go. Isn't that Bromo's fault? Shouldn't he have cleared that with Dave? That's right. I mean, Dave is the Lawrence Kasdan of radio. Who is that? Who is Lawrence Kasdan? Who the heck is that? But who is Lawrence Kasdan? He's a very famous director. All right. What? Really? That's what he says. That's what he says. I don't know who Lawrence Kasdan is. Google it. All right. My bad. So what do we do? Are we late? We're really late, but I mean, is Bruno coming in here so I can give him this stupid game and we can end this thing? End this bit? I'm starving. I am. I'm really hungry and I want to get into breaks so I can try to jam some food down real quick. You guys want to hear about Lawrence Kasdan? Yeah, tell me about him. He's like a real cheesy B-movie sci-fi director. Is that right? Like, what did he direct? Let's see. Apparently, he's in talks to write Robotech. I've been waiting for that. What a great joke. Come on, stop it. What did he direct? The Casual Tourist. Got it. Oh, Lawrence Kasdan. Yeah. There it is. I like him. I think we're going to go. Now we're running around. Oh, she had to go.
Ashley forgot her headphones. This is humiliating. Hey, where's my Bromo? I know. Where's my Bromo? They're getting good Ashley time. I want my Bromo. Go check on Bromo. Are they stiffing us on this team? Nah, they're not stiffing us. They're probably getting her in Bromo. Nah, they'll give it to us. Yes, they will. Dave's a good man. Here he is. Here's Bromo. Here's the jam. Bromo, look what you've caused us. That's like the Ryan Leaf trade, dude. But he brought his own headphones. How are you guys? We're good. So you heard what's going on, right? Not really. I heard that there was some sort of trade talks. But you don't know what it is Eddie wanted to talk to you about? No, I don't. Okay, wow. Are you going to ask me out or something? No. I'd rather put my balls in a blender than ask you out. Wait, that's not nice. Sorry, nothing personal. Thanks for the visual on that. Nothing personal. He's more of a Brett Favre. Don't think too much into that. Don't read into it. It'll just drive you nuts if you think into it. I got my camera phone. There you go. Eddie, go ahead. About four years ago, you probably don't remember this. When we first came back to San Diego, you and I had a meeting in the hallway and we were chatting it up.
You were telling me you like video games, and I said, yeah, man, I like video games too. Calm down. You said to me, you know what, man, I just finished this game. It was really fun, and I really want you to play it. And I said, dude, I would love to play it, but I'm super busy with moving and stuff like that. But you said, no, don't worry about it. Take your time and play it. Well, some things happened, and I moved recently. And as I was moving, I found... said video game. And I would like to now return to you the game you let me borrow four years ago. That's right. Do you even remember? Do you remember? Well, let me tell you something, Mikey. This is where I didn't want this to go. I don't believe that I've ever had a PlayStation 2 game. Really? What do you mean? Are you sure you got this for me or it wasn't somebody else? I am a thousand percent sure you gave me that video game.
Bromo must have stole it and given it to you. Well, maybe I did. I forget. I have an Xbox. He doesn't remember. I have an Xbox. I really do not remember. He doesn't remember. I don't remember. I really don't. You don't even have a PlayStation 2? Not anymore. Well, but maybe four years ago. No, no, no. I got a theory. I have a theory. Can I tell you my theory? Eddie, you took it back from me. Eddie just took it back. He doesn't even have it. I have a theory. What? I have a theory that maybe Bromo got it. as like a promo or something. And he was like, what am I going to do with this? The topic came up and he's like, I know what I'll do with that promo thing I just got. And he lent it to you. But he said he finished it. And he really enjoyed it and wanted me to play it. You don't even remember to see that? No, I know what happened. I used to play PlayStation. And then Halo came out. I want Ashley back. I'm not kidding. Halo came out, so I went out and bought Xbox, the first set, and then I didn't have PlayStation 2 anymore because I actually gave that system away. Can you believe that? I gave that whole PlayStation 2 away. Oh, no. Somebody's on the line that says they have bad news about what DSC are doing with Ash. Should we find out on the air? Yes. Do you know, Rob? Something bad going on? What's going on, Minnesota test? T1 Minnesota tent here. Mikey, I got to tell you, Ashley's out there.
Making other shows look good, man. Making other shows? Oh, who cares? We traded. She'll come back in here. Listen. She's over there singing the I Hear This Girl song. That's fine. Listen, here's the way I look. I want people to know the way that I look at radio. I look at radio a little bit differently than some people do. And I think that Dave does, too. A lot of people would never be willing to come on the air here. And the reason that they wouldn't is they don't want to let people know about other shows. Because if they know about other shows, they'll go listen. You know what I mean? Yeah. Just like right now at this very second, there are people that listen to Dave Shelley and Chainsaw that are listening to us right now because they heard us on DSC. And vice versa. And vice versa. So shouldn't Bromo sing? Listen, let me finish explaining. I don't sing, sir. So here's what happens. You have to be confident enough in the breakfast that you're putting out at your breakfast restaurant every day that people are going to come back and have breakfast with you. And I think people will still come back and have breakfast with us. So that's all it is. That's all we got. So Eddie gets to keep the game? Is this what we're... Of course. Bromo doesn't even remember it. So all Eddie's guilt and worry about it was for nothing. And he doesn't even remember.
He didn't remember Eddie. Eddie is so irritated. That's all for you, brother. It's all for you. You want me to sign it? Go get Ashley. We're doing tone deaf karaoke next. Ashley singing you trying to figure out what it is. And then the gas monkey is out in Hellcraft. Great show, everybody. Great show. There's only one event that brings the entire world together. So what's your hurry? Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. The time to find a doctor is before you need one. Not too bad a ride out there. The 15's busy through Escondido as you approach El Norte Parkway. An earlier crash at Via Rancho has been moved out of the way, but the damage has been done there. BigBear.com Eye in the Sky reports the rest of the freeways are up to full speed. Traffic's looking good for you. This is Mike Hancock with traffic on Rock 105.3. Cricket Wireless is the best wireless company in America. Hands down. Love Cricket Wireless. And they're trying to make you happier as a wireless customer. Skye, what's some of the stuff going on? Well, Cricket, you know, Cricket bought the formerly Coors Amphitheater. Now it's the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. They're just so involved in San Diego and everything cool that's going on. So it makes sense that they have a great deal going on right now where you can qualify to win two free tickets to a concert at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. Whoa. Yeah, all you need to do, and this is for a limited time. This isn't going to go on forever, but for a limited time, you need to purchase and activate a new Cricket phone.
at a participating location, and you get two free tickets to a concert at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. Say the key phrase. It is, I love unlimited. Yes. Like, what does that mean, unlimited? It means limited, but un. Oh. You know, like, all the stuff that comes with limited, but then un-ness. Yeah. So you're talking local calling, long distance, text messaging, picture messaging, mobile web, all that stuff. Yeah, yeah. Unlimited. Unlimited. Unlimited. That's right, Eddie. Unlimited text messaging to Mexico. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What? I text Mexico all the time. You do? Like, what's up, Mexico? Hey, Mexico. What's up? Shout out. What are you doing? Pedro. BRB. What is Be Right Back? That's Be Right Back. Isn't it BRB? You'll be right back? I'll be right back to Mexico. Okay, fine. Okay. What's the website, Skye? It's mycricket.com slash San Diego. From the Cricket Wireless Studios, this is the home of our female race. It's okay. San Diego's Rock. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I'm really interested in their... Eddie. You know me, dude. I'm entrenched in sports. Sky. I know her. Sean. I used to watch people. Boss and Rob. I have a DVD collection of Red Sox, though. And Ashley. I do my part to help global warming. On Rock 105.3. Number one song in the country on iTunes. I love you like this. Which now that I think about it, that's kind of a...
That doesn't make sense. iTunes is not just American. I guess iTunes is global, so it's the number one song on iTunes. Whether you're in China for the Olympics, top there in some Chinese hotel room, or you're here in the United States. It is 724. Bob Saget feels that some of his comic friends went too far with their Olsen twin jokes at his Comedy Central roast. The PGA Championship starts this morning. You had no Tiger Woods, but... It's still going to be pretty awesome, and I'll keep you updated on who's on the leaderboard. I would love to talk to Bob Saget. Again? Yes. What you just said. Well, because when he was here on our show, he talked about how he views the Olsen twins as like his own daughters. I mean, he was there from like basically, you know, a couple months old to, you know, he's still a part of their lives. Well, I feel bad for Bob because it must have been a little bit painful.
when the line was crossed, right? Right. Like, what do you do? It's a roast. I mean, you know. That's what I would love to ask because I'm like, dude, you know that's where they're going, right? Mm-hmm. Yeah. And I'm sure it sounds like just from the headline that you read, it sounds like his answer would be, well, yeah, but I didn't think. Yeah, you'd think they'd have some tact. Come on, like, come on. There's some tact at a roast? No. No way. The whole idea is to be as shocking As possible. For those of you that don't know what a roast is, they pick somebody that's going to be roasted and a bunch of people get up and they just say, you know, it's supposed to be they're joking about them. They're making jokes about them. But they're brutal, brutal jokes. Yeah, and it sounds like, from what I read, a lot of the jokes insinuated that, like, Bob Saget had some sort of sexual thing. Of course. With the Olsen twins. You know that's where they're going to go. And if that's, like, his daughters, you know, like, any father would freak out. It's a roast, though. You know that's where they're going to go. Yeah, so it airs August 17th on Comedy Central, but Bob Saget does have final approval on the edit of it. So who knows if...
Even any of that stuff will make TV. Really? Yeah. So it'll be like a five minute long special. Right? So we'll see. It's a weird phenomenon. It's going to be interesting to watch the weird phenomenon taking place. And what I mean by that is that there's this weird phenomenon where you're like talking to somebody, right? And you're having a good time. And you're all joking around. You're having fun. You're laughing. And when you are doing that, you kind of get into a rhythm. Like da-da-da-da-da-da. Da-da-da-da-da-da. Like that just makes sense. And you get into that rhythm. And, like, sometimes somebody will say something and you'll go, ha-ha. And you don't even realize until you've already ha-ha'd that what was just said was something that you don't really think is all that ha-ha. You know? And so that would be interesting. Okay. So we were going to do tone deaf here, but it's 726 right now. We should talk to the gas monkey. Oh, yeah.
Let's talk to the gas monkey. See in the trees. Call us, gas monkey. Here's the deal. We know that gas costs a lot of money right now. And so we want to help you. And we'll do it with a gas monkey. Maybe he's having breakfast over at Corvette Diner. Oh, that'd be so good. He is in Hillcrest. He is in Hillcrest. And so what we got is we got a guy in a monkey suit. And it's Rob. He's dressed as a monkey. He's riding around in the Rock 105.3 van, and he is looking for people that have the brand new Mikey Show P1 Army sticker on their car. Top that, Lawrence Kasdan. Yeah. Direct me one better than that, LK. LK, by the way. And so when he finds somebody with a Mikey Show sticker on their car, brand new one, he'll pull them over, walk up to their car with a batch of bananas, and let them select the banana.
All the bananas have a gas card taped to them worth anywhere between $25 to $250. So, yeah. We're going to get the gas monkey on the line here in just a second and find out how things are going. We sent him to Hillcrest. That's where he's going to be this hour. And he's looking for you in the sticker. Get some gas. Very nice. I put that monkey head on the other day. I couldn't see out of it. I don't know what he's going to do. He's going to walk into traffic. Yeah, I'm glad he's not right. I'm a little worried about that. I hope he's got a good sense of direction. Yeah. Why do we not have him? I don't know. Get my phone. Yeah. Maybe Seth's busy listening to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Is that what he likes? He says he likes that. Well, that's Rob's thing. Oh, I see. Rob, are you there? I'll be there, yeah. To the right. To the right, yeah. Hello. Hey, Rob. How are you? I'm doing swell. How are you guys? I'm whipped and I love it. I kind of look like a buffoon, though. A baboon, you mean. Yes. Not a buffoon, a baboon. Oh, my bad. I get it. You're sitting in the passenger seat right now in a monkey outfit, right? Yeah.
Are you in Hillcrest? You better believe it. Hillcrest. Do you see people out walking around? We are, I don't see people. I mean, it's busy. It's just there aren't too many people out walking around. We just kind of cruised through. I think it's the downtown area. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, sure. Okay. Yeah, there are definitely a lot of people out here. I've heard a couple of honks, a couple of people yelling. But at that moment, I was still prepping the banana van. Gotcha. Gotcha. Now, you've got your batch of bananas, right? You better believe it, Mike. And they have the gas cards taped to them, correct? You know it. All right, and you are on the lookout for the brand new Mikey Show P1 Army sticker. That's correct. Okay, now here's what I want you to do. Okay. When you find somebody and you have pulled them over, you could try this. Pull over. Pull over. Yes, that's the sound of the siren. That's the siren to pull people. Play it one more time, Sean. There you go.
Awesome. Yeah, once you've pulled somebody over, give us a call, okay? I'll give you guys a call back in a few minutes. There you go. Thank you very much. In the meantime, why don't we maybe try a little bit of this. Yeah. Karaoke is on. Okay. Now, Ashley was on American Idol, and she sang. She didn't make it to Hollywood, but... She came very close. I came dang close. Was she a little pitchy, or what was the deal? A bad day? Well... It's tough out there. That is definitely one way to look at it, Eddie. Okay, well, I'm... I'll tell you this right now, Nigel, this gal loves me.
I'll tell you this right now. He loves me. What's that? Get up there. Is this Marlee Matlin? Oh, wow. Oh, there it is. The idea of tone-deaf karaoke is you hear the clip and then you tell us. What was she singing? Okay. It's easy to win. All you have to do is tell us who sang it or what the song was. It's that easy. It seems easy, but... It's easy. It's easy. So, Hillary Clinton thinks it's easy. Eddie, what could the person win today? Well, you know, I mean, there's this little movie. It's a small independent film. I don't know if some people have seen it or not. It's called The Dark Knight. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you haven't seen it yet or if you want to see it again, we got more passes for you. And they're run of engagement. You can use them the entire time. Awesome. Let's get this thing on the road. Ashley just taking a big swig of water. She's all prepped. She's ready to go. And let's see. P1 Alligator is on the line. Alligator. Alligator. Hi, Alligator. Hi. How are you? I'm good this morning. How are you? I'm fantastic. How old are you? I'm 19 years old. Where do you work? Do you work or go to school? I work and go to school. I'm in nursing school right now, and I work as a personal assistant by day. Oh, really? Nice to work. How do you get that gig, personal assistant? I found it on Craigslist. Really? Is it someone rich and famous? It's not famous, but they do have a lot of money. Nice. What does a personal assistant do? I walk her dog. I pick up her kids from school. I do her dry cleaning and errands and help her around the house. Wow. That's a pretty decent gig if you can get it. It's easy. There you go. All right. Well, that may be easy, but this may not be. It won't be. No way. I'm going to play you a clip of Ashley singing. Okay. All I ask is that you don't interrupt the clip. Just let the clip finish playing. And when it's done, give me a title or an artist to win. Okie dokie. Here we go. Thank you. That's a tougher one there. That's a tougher one. I got it. I got it. Wow. All we need here is who sings it or the name of the song.
I have no idea. Oh, really? That is George Michael, Freedom 90. Identical. They sounded a little different. Really? I thought they were a little different. Maybe different in tone, but sending across the same message. Well, it's a man and, well, kind of, but never mind. Forget it. That's George Michael. The song is Freedom 90. Sorry about that, alligator. I don't even know who George Michaels is. You don't know? George Michaels. Wait a second. By the way. This is crazy. You don't know who George Michaels is. Wow. How old? She's 19. She's 19. And man, we are old. We are old people. Skye, you are old. No, Mike. I don't think I'm old. Do you know who George Michaels is? I do. You're old. It's official. Oh. That's...
It sucks. Oh, man. I just realized I'm old. Dang. Have you ever heard of Wham? Oh, man. Ladies and gentlemen, Sanjaya is on. What's going on, Sanjaya? How are you, buddy? Pretty good. Good. You know how this game is played. You know how this game works. All I need from you is a title or an artist, and you win. Are you ready? Everybody is looking for something. Some of them want to use you. Some of them want to be used.
That's for you, Shawnee. I think we should burn that onto a disc and send it to Capitol Records as a demo. And be saved with a headshot and the whole deal. 100% dedicated to Shawnee O'Beg. There you go. Sanjaya, title or artist? I know this song. It's on the top of my head. Yeah, yeah. You know? I'm going to have to pass and say I don't speak to Chaywa. Oh, dude. I know this song. I think even like Blue Orchid or Orgy made a remix of it. Take a guess at the name of the song. I mean, if you use the lyrics, you can probably come up with the name of the song. I know the lyrics. What's the name of the song? All I need is title or artist. Jeez, I blew it. It's Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics. Marilyn Manson? What's wrong with everybody today? I don't know. Hillary Clinton said that it was easy, but now that we're actually getting into this, I'm starting to think maybe it's not. Well, she also thought it was going to be easy to get the Democratic nomination. She did. It's not easy. It's not easy. She's changed her mind. She heard it. Typical. She heard it. Typical. Flip-flopping. You can call me Kilroy. No, thank you. I don't want to.
Wait a minute. We're getting a phone. We're getting a line ringing here. Let's see. Is it the monkey line? It might be the monkey line. Let me know if it's the monkey line. The banana phone is ringing. We have Boston Rob out looking for a Mikey Show P1 Army sticker. It's not. It's not. It's not, right? It's Robbie, but he wants to talk to Zeth. He's really worked up. He sounds very overwhelmed. Rob does? Yeah. We definitely should talk to him. Help me go to Zeth. I would love to talk to him. He gets so upset. He said that he needs to talk to Zeth because he needs to get on two phones. I bet he left. He forgot to do something. He needs Zeth to do it. And he's flipping out. Let's hear what it sounds like. Zeth, put him on hold. Put him on hold. Zeth, put him on hold. Put him on hold. We just know that you probably forgot to do something here at the station, and you needed to talk to Seth about it and tell him that you forgot to do something. Am I right? No, no. He hung up on me before. I gave him another number. We're going to use two phones, and he didn't understand that. He hung up on me and called me from a different phone. Yeah. So I was working the kinks out, and now we are ready to roll.
Have you found, wait, have you found somebody? Okay, I found somebody and then about 18 other people found me. I've been doing a full photo shoot here at Hillcrest. That is fantastic. Okay, so wait a minute. Do you have a car pulled over right now? Oh, yeah, I got a car pulled. And you know what? You're not going to believe who I pulled over. I have no idea who this is. I see a P1 sticker. And you are just going to, I want you to take one guess. It's a very well-known P1. Space Boy. But he gave us a really weird story on Friday. T-Rex. No. Is it T-Rex? I pull over. I get it. We have this huge megaphone, which we're going to have to get some audio of me yelling. And I go, hey, Slick, why don't you pull over? You want a banana? Okay, that's not a good thing to yell at a Gilchrist. No. Gilchrist. And immediately 13 guys started whistling at me. So you pull him over. I pull him over and I jump out and I have it. You got to see this. You got to check out the video when we get it up. It is amazing. This monkey shirt. I look like oversized, curious George. It's a huge home. The middle of the street and I can't see the eye holes. So crazy. So nuts. Eye holes in this thing are maybe as big as a penny.
And they're above your head. Like, I put it on yesterday, and the eye holes are nowhere near your eyes. You really have no depth perception, and you can't see anything in the middle of you or to your side. So you can kind of see straight ahead. So I see cars coming at me, but I don't know what is really going on. And Jay from Promotions is yelling at me. You're in the street. Oh, my gosh. Oh, jeez. I was actually afraid of that. I was afraid of him getting run over. Who's going to run over a monkey? Come on, dude. That's true. Roadkill. I go up to the side of the car and it's T-Rex sitting there. And I'm like, you've got to hang tight for a second. But I don't know. Do I get a badge or a gun or anything to pull people off? No, you don't. No badge, no gun. No badge, no gun. Okay, let's do this. Let's have you offer the bananas to T-Rex. And have him select one and let's see how much his gas card is for. Let me get my magical bushels of bananas. Hey. Creepy. And he's got a bunch of people. Now I'm standing here in front of T-Rex. T-Rex, say hi.
Hey, what's happening, guys? There he is. There's T-Rex. Was he just in Hillcrest, or did he know to go down there and drive around? I don't even want to ask that question. Do you have a guy in his car? Because that would be... I am not gay. I never have been gay. Okay, fine. T-Rex, I need you to pick one of my bananas. Just go ahead and grab it firmly. It's not the first time you ask that. All right. T-Rex has now grabbed a banana. Now peel that Mikey show. Nice. Nice. Gas monkey's killing it out there. Oh, that's great. That is fantastic. Sean, you want to answer that for T-Rex? Charlie boy, I know you want it. Shut up. I thought they eat bamboo, guys. Oh, they eat bamboo. I thought they eat bamboo. I gotcha. He forgotcha. Congratulations, T-Rex. You're the first recipient of the gas monkey pullover. Hey. You are listening to The Mikey Show. Indeed you are. Hawk 105.3. As a matter of fact, I have a piece of yellow legal binder paper that I made a full page of notes on when I went and talked to them. Here's some things that I could tell you. They do transmission, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, and cooling systems. They're not just transmissions. But you may wonder to yourself, oh, what exactly does Amco do? What exactly is a transmission? Transmission is the part of the car that does what your legs do. I wrote that down because they told me. How about this? How about the fact that they've been in business since 1964 and they don't want to fix what isn't broken? So a lot of times when you take your car to a dealership or something like that, they may want to replace something. That's the cool thing about Amco is they just want to fix it for you. So go on down to Amco. Amco is double A.

In that song, she says, I don't worry. The Mikey Show. I'm going to go to Tucson. Yep. I was 18. They came to the radio station to do an in-studio interview. I was a fan, so I asked if I could just be in the studio while the DJ interviewed him. A guy by the name of Jeff Stewart. Ah, Jeffy. Shafro. Shafro Bodine. He interviewed him, and then when the interview was over... Our program director came in, a guy by the name of Royce Blake. Royce. Royce. He walked in the studio and said, you guys take these guys to their venue? It's crazy. Yeah, I can. I was like, you know, where are they playing? They're at the U of A, blah, blah, blah. Had no idea how to get to the U of A. But I was not going to miss my chance to take Oingo Boingo to their venue. So I set out.
And I asked the band if they knew how to get there. Oh, no, you didn't. That's a true story. That's a true story. How did you ever figure it out? Look for signs. It's awesome. Oh, boy. And they were really nice. They had to have made him mad. Well, yeah, you would think I would picture rolling of the eyes. A lot of that. So you met Danny Elfman? You're very lucky. He does, you know, movie scores now. Lead singer, Oingo Boingo. Super talented. You've probably seen a ton of movies, Sky, where that dude did the soundtrack to the movie. Do you know offhand any of the movies? He did Batman. He did a lot of those. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice, Pee Wee Herman. The Simpsons. He did a lot of those. What's that creepy director's name? Tim Burton. Tim Burton movies. Apparently they're in love with each other. That's right. Welcome back. Did I give the time out already? No.
It's 7.59. A toy gun prompted a lockdown in Forest Ranch yesterday afternoon. Did you guys know that the Olympics are already going on? Oh, they are? I thought they started tomorrow. It's already tomorrow in China? No. No? What's happening then? Is this weird for anybody? I thought they have to have an opening ceremony. They officially begin tomorrow, but they're underway. What do you mean? Let me explain. Soccer is already going on because they got a big tournament. And so it wouldn't have fit in the entire span of the Olympics. So they started them a little early. U.S. men have already played their first game. How'd we do? What? USA! Congratulations, USA. They beat Japan 1-0 in their opener. That's cool. But the women lost. Well, then, in honor of that... Now it's time for the YouTube clip of the day. What do the two have to do with each other? Yeah, I was just wondering. What you're thinking, Mike? No, don't know. I think what you said, speaking of. Yeah, speaking of the Olympics, here's the YouTube clip of the day. I don't understand the correlation. The connection being, you know, let's get a gold on this clip here, guys. That's really stretchy. That doesn't fit, Mike. That is. I don't like that. It's one of my favorite clips.
of all time, what we're about to hear right now. One of my favorite clips of all time. If there was a Hall of Fame for viral videos, this would be for sure first ballot. Before it begins, Eddie, would you like to do your impression of the girl? Here is my impression. The greatest thing in this clip is... The people back at the station. Yes. This is the best part of this clip. We've all seen it. News anchor on television. And now let's go live out to the blah, blah, blah fair, the Del Mar fair. And we got so-and-so out there. What's happening out there? And they go. So fun and lighthearted. Exactly. They go to some cheesy thing they're doing out there. Well, you know, we're here. We got our crazy hats on because, you know, the horse race has started today.
You know that kind of deal. Okay, this is the same thing, only this TV reporter's out there and they're going to show you how to make wine by stomping on grapes. What you can't hear, and so I'll describe to you, is that they decided to have the professional wine stomper teaching the TV reporter how to wine stomp, but they built this stage that's about four feet high. And it's rickety, wooden, and weird. And so they have those big plastic tubs that you would put, you know, if you had a party, you have a big tub where you put drinks and ice in. They have one of those on there. They got it full of grapes and she's going to get in there and stomp on them and it's rickety. And she, you can't hear it. You can't hear it. So I got to describe it to you. She falls completely off the stage and somehow knocks the wind out of herself. Now, I know it sounds horrific, but everybody's fine. I want you to know before you ever even hear the clip.
She's fine. Everybody's fine. But it does. It's live TV. It's live TV. It freaks the people back. But they're so dumb. They're trying to act like everything. Oh, well, I hope that she gets some help there. Oh, gosh. I think she's, well, let's. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Oh, well. Normal reaction. Cut 17. And things that's done is right here. These buckets are filled with grapes. What kind of grapes? These are filled with Chamberson grapes. And the winner this Saturday who stomps the most juice will actually win an overnight stay here at Chateau Lawn. You ready? You ready to try it? Yeah, sure. Let's go. That's disgusting. Let's go. All right. You ready? Give us a 30 second time. Here we go. So what's the deal here? There's a contest to stomp. And how are you measuring who does the best stomping? And whoever stomps the most juice wins an overnight stay. But it's not the only. Pause. Just so you know. Yeah. The thing that gets her to trip is. She's doing this very light stomping. Yes. And she decides she's going to be playful. Uh-oh. She's going to be playful. Uh-oh. And just for a second, she's going to do it real fast. Unpause. The measuring cups are down below, right? Measuring cups are down below. All right. Stop. She's actually hurt. No, I think she is. Yeah, she's hurt. She took a hard fall off there. Okay. Gosh, I hope she's okay. Okay. We're going to...
Make sure she is. We'll try and check on her and get back to you as soon as we can. We'll be back right after this. Oh, yeah. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Oh, dear. She's actually hurt. Now, I got to reiterate, she's fine. She was fine. Everything was fine. It sounds a lot worse than it was. What are we stopping? Right? Stop. People are stomping on her. Stop filming. Stop making wine. Just in general. Forever. Stop. Everybody stop. Sean, can you give us just the fall? Oh, no. Yeah, hold on. It sounds worse than it was. I love it. It's one of the goofier things ever. I love it. One of the goofier things ever. Kroyer showed up. Coming up next, Ashley's going to get an eating competition right here in the studio against a girl. It's a Mikey show. It is 8-12. The feds have dropped their investigation into Heath Ledger's death, meaning that Mary Kate Olson is now off the hook. I have breaking ham news. Oh, wow. What is it, Eddie? This is a really amazing story. It's going to be a hamless Olympics. This is a real story now. Real story. What is he doing, Mike? He's supposed to be the sports guy. This is a real story here. gymnast Morgan Ham has to withdraw due to an injury along with twin brother Paul Ham Hamless Olympics. Sky, how are you dealing with this? How are you coping? Can we give you a ham with anything? Because Eddie always reports on gymnastics here on the Mikey Show. He just was reporting on the Olympics. She said the Olympics started and all of that stuff. Gymnastics, by the way. Hamless Olympics. I like ham. Hamlet. You deal with it. I can. Hamlet. I like ham. The worst. No hamstrings. Not hamstrings. Okay. We're all really funny this morning. We have a lot of marshmallows in the studio or what Ashley called marshy's. Ashley's. Let's do this. Now in a battle to decide gastric prowess, The Monkey Show presents the Ashley Eating Competition. Call me with Ashley. Ashley. Ashley. Right?
disgusting open I've ever played. Hey, listen, Ashley's competition just... Wait, Ash, stop eating. She can't stop eating. What is she doing? She took a marshy and shoved it in her mouth. Yeah, we got them counted out here, you hunger. Calm down. She's so hungry. Oh, my God. It's hanging out of your mouth. It's out of your pile. Ew. Ew. This is going to be interesting. You're a mess, okay? You understand me? You're a mess. Yes, you are. Can you swallow that? Sean. Talk to him, Mike. And so it begins. It's one of those deals where you don't want to give it too much because then he's like, oh, it'll be funny to do it. You know what I mean? So I don't want to make too big of a deal out of it. I just want to very calmly be like, hey, dude, kind of chill out on the effects.
But, okay, we're doing an eating competition between Ashley and listeners. Yeah. And this is the way that it works. It's very easy. They have 25 marshmallows in front. Why are we doing this, by the way? Because mommy likes to eat. That's why. Yes, she does. I know you've never seen anything like it, Mike. Mommy likes to eat. She is 25 years old. Ashley is. She is in good shape. She's thin, you know. Yoga almost every day. Yoga almost every day. Good looking girl, but she is a bottomless pit. Yes, garbage disposal. Yes, she is. She does not. I can't stop eating. She can't stop. She can't stop. She just goes and goes and goes. When we were in Denver. Oh, I was embarrassed. One night we went to dinner. She ate a steak. She ate an entire... Bunch of broccoli. Okay, the whole thing. A bushel. The whole stock. The whole stock. And mashed potatoes, spinach, bread. Talk about it. I don't have an eating disorder. Dessert. Oh, yeah, don't forget the dessert. Then she left and went to McDonald's. Where she got Chicken McNuggets, a McFlurry, and French fries. True story. And that does not discount for... Uh-oh.
Not count for it. I had Charleston shoes that I had in between. Oh, that's true. There was a box of mini Charleston shoes. Mini Charleston shoes. That's filthy. Be glad for the food on your plate. It's filthy how much food is in there. Listen. Well, it gave us the idea, you know. It's a growing boy. It's like a little Romanian boy. Just real hungry, you know. She just got it. Mommy got to eat. So, here's the deal. A lot of people, by the way, are wondering, are we calling her mom? Maybe she's pregnant and she's eating a lot. I got a text message. We're calling her mom. I got a text message from my cousin Jay yesterday because he listens online. I was like, did I miss something? Is Ashley pregnant? She just one day started referring to herself as mommy, so we just... Mommy's hungry. I know a lot of mothers out there will relate to this. When I go home and I'm with my child, which is my dog, Sammy, I'm constantly talking to her and I'm always like, do you want mommy to play with you? Do you want mommy to take you for a walk? And it's kind of transferred into my real, like, other life, too, with real people. Real mothers are punching their radio. I don't know, Eddie. I think everybody's probably punching their radio. But we got a girl in here. What's your name, young lady? Adrienne? Adrienne? She's a mother. Adrienne's a mother. Mother of how many? Three. Your husband says you eat like a criminal, like a prisoner. I do. I have her to play arms. Dude, she is ripped. She's a personal trainer, right? Yeah, she is ripped. Dude, holy. She just flexed?
That scared me. She just flexed and it's like, I've never seen a chick, you know how chicks sometimes will be like, hey, check this out. It don't look like that. She's rock solid muscle. She is cut. How do you do that? I work out a lot. I know, but what do you, okay, I got, let me just, let me ask you. It's called the gym. All right, fine. Let me ask questions. Let me ask questions. Okay. Do you eat like no fat at all? No, I do eat a lot of fat. You do? But good fats. Avocados, fine food oil, all good stuff. But you don't eat like, you know what? Cheese. I mean, I will occasionally. I don't normally eat. What about McFlurries and McNuggets? So you don't eat, you don't. I need you to talk right in that mic. I'm sorry, I do hate McDonald's. Okay, so you didn't have to repeat that. Oh, no, you didn't have to say that again. They're a sponsor. We love them. Our favorite. Their food's great. McRib is the best. But am I right about this? Other than the good fats. The good fats. You don't eat fattening food. Not very often, but I do. I do, but not very often. Flex again. Show us the muscle again. Wow. Something's wrong. When was the last time you ate a plate of marshmallows? Come here. Last night I did about three times. Oh, you practiced? Oh, yeah. I know exactly what I'm getting number wise. I'm screwed. I didn't practice. Come here. How much do you weigh? Dude.
She is fit. How many kids do you have? That's my 14-year-old age. That's your mom. Your mom's ripped. Make a muscle. Can I feel your muscle? Sorry, Mike's freaking out. Sorry, he's being weird. There's the tricep, Mike. How are your abs? Do you have a six-pack? Oh my gosh! You got how many kids? Let me see your stomach. I swear, I had three kids. She's got three kids. Look at her stomach. No way, Jose. That's crazy. You are ripped, lady. I'm jealous. Motivation. Come on down with this guy. I'm there, girl. And she eats like a prisoner. Ocean Psy. And she eats like a prisoner. I do. I do eat a lot, though. I do eat a lot. All right, let's do this. She knows it's important to eat, Mike. That's the whole thing. Yeah, but you don't look like that. Wait a second, Ashley. You look good. Hey, guys. You shouldn't be showing that. That's a keg. That's a keg. Wait a second. Put that dummy away. Okay. Dude, that was full on Christmas. She whipped out her kind of like Buddha belly and goes, I mean. Give her 10 years. She got to age for that kind of good. Oh, my goodness. Oh, yeah. Okay. Just wait for the video of that. Wait till you see that video. You're going to be bummed. Dude, it was like Boy Blunder was back on the show. Hey.
I thought Barley came in and did the Chippendale win. Hey, come on. Stop it. Are you fat? When you go jogging, do you need puggles? Eddie, what's up for grabs? What's the prize today? We got, for the winner, Project Revolution tickets, Linkin Park, Chris Cornell. Oh, wow. This weekend. How would you like to win? That sounds pretty good. That sounds pretty good. Wait, what did she just ask? If she wins, does she get them? Of course not. No, no. Wait a second. Lincoln Park, Project Revolution, and that's what's up for grabs. This is Lincoln Park. This tune is called No Sorrow. I just wanted to let people know who Lincoln Park is. For those of you that don't know, that's it. That's all you get. That's all you get. That's all you get. That's not a good one. All right, so we got 25 Marshys in front of you. All right. Okay, and I have a question. What? What's your question? Wait, wait, wait. You got to say it into the mic because I can't hear you. On the hot dog eating contest that I watched on TV, they all are standing up. Oh, yeah. You can do it however you want. I'll stand up, too. And then what's at the end, like at the final end? Here's the deal. They got 60 seconds to eat as many marshmallows on that plate as they can. Okay. There's 25 on the plate. We put 25 on there. I figured that should be enough. But I know. I've seen Ashley. Mommy is hungry. Yeah. And so what we'll do is, you know.
However many they can even have in their mouth is fine. They don't have to swallow. They just have to be in their mouth. You can't be spitting out afterwards. I mean, you've got to ingest them. And then we'll count it up after the 60 seconds. Whoever has less marshmallows is the winner. And if they eat all 25, it's whoever finishes first. Can they drink the water? Yeah, they can drink water. Just like an eating competition. They both got bottles of water in front of them. Ash, I want you to take this serious, all right, girl? I'm not kidding. Okay, one more thing. So whoever finishes first actually swallowing everything first or just has it? Yes. Okay. Oh, really? So they have to sit here and wait for them? No, no, no. If they finish or leave off. If they finish before the 60 seconds. It has to be 60 seconds. That ain't going to happen. Come on. You don't think so? No. I don't think they're going to be able to do 25. All right. All right. On your mark, get set, go. Okay, Ashley has just jammed three marshmallows into her mouth. And her competition, Adrian, is going one at a time. She's going one marshmallow at a time. Ashley's going two at a time. Okay, Adrian just took a drink of water. Ashley has about 15 in her mouth right now. I'm not kidding. And she bit one in half. So now Ashley has a bottle of water up to her mouth. She's waiting to take a drink. She just swallowed everything in her mouth Ashley did. How did she do that? I don't know how. Oh my gosh, this is nuts. Her competition, Adrian, just took a big gulp of water and a second big gulp of water. And she has powered down what was in her mouth. This is insane.
She's now putting... Is somebody timing this? Where are we at? 33 seconds. Oh, wow. Approximately 20 seconds. She just got one. In your mouth, Ashley. Ashley's now shoving the marshmallows into her mouth. She knows there's not much time left. She's shoving them into her mouth. They're about dead even. They're about dead even. Adrian is powering... Chew with your mouth closed, honey. ...is powering down some water, and Adrian is now taking the tactic of squeezing the marshmallows. How much time? How much time? No time for water, Ash. Stop. Stop. Okay. Ash, Ash, Ash. Okay. Very clear. Very clear. It looks like... Oh, my God. Ashley has got marshmallow billowing out of her mouth like a chimney. Her competition is trying not to laugh out her marshmallows. She's trying to hold the marshmallows in her mouth.
Oh, my gosh. It's like somebody sprayed a whole thing of, like, spray foam in Ashley's mouth, and it's just expanding out. And she's somehow getting it down. You ever see the end of Ghostbusters? Right? Dude. Oh, my gosh. That is crazy. All right, let's count what they have on their plate. Let's count what they have on their plate. Now, does that count for Ashley? Because it's not technically in her mouth. Yeah, yeah, it's in her mouth. Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, how many we got? How many does Mommy have left? Eight and a half. Dude, I beat my record from last night. What do you have? Six. Wow. Sorry, guys. Ashley was trying. Ashley wanted to win. Ashley just reached into her mouth with her hand, grabbed her tongue full of marshmallow. Look at her hand. And pulled it out of her mouth and threw it into the garbage. Ashley, what are you feeling right now?
What emotions do you have? What's going on, girl? This is crap. I'm pissed. Oh, no. You're perfect. What's the problem? What happened? Listen, I feel stupid. You know, she practiced. I didn't. I came obviously unprepared, and she won fair and square due to my, you know. You got a little summer. Yeah. some stuff there. I'm a little disappointed in myself. Ashley, how do you feel about yourself in terms of water all over the front of your t-shirt? You look like a jackass. You look ridiculous. This was my first one. You know, I'm not like, this isn't like, you know, my forte. Is she better than you? Is that what you think? Mike, did you notice the technique? The technique was one at a time with the water swallowing work rather than shoving 12 in at a time and chewing for six hours. She did great, Mike. I mean, what do you want? She won. So go check it out. Let's see. Rob's enjoying him for the first time. I got to hear this. Guy in Jacksonville, Florida. Went in last week to a Subway sandwich shop. At the Subway, they left the sauce off of his spicy Italian sandwich. No. Come on. How you forget to put the sauce on the spicy Italian. It's probably the most important thing. It's like the most important thing, right? Absolutely. But they did, and now, I'm just going to tell you, if it were me, I'd just say, hey, could I, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Could I get the sauce? You forgot to put sauce on here. This guy called 911. Okay, well, it is a crime.
Stop it. In 13 states. That's right. Jacksonville Police Department has released the audio. Yes, ma'am. My name is Roland Avenue. And I went to a sandwich shop and ordered two sandwiches. And I paid almost $12 for the sandwich. I did not get the sandwiches to be made the way I wanted to. I brought the sandwiches back up here. The woman didn't tell me that she was going to make my sandwiches over, okay? She told me that they can't do this, they can't do that. Now, since I'm on the phone with you, they locked the door on me. They got the sandwiches that I paid for inside their store. I'm not leaving here until I get what I paid for. I'm not going to see them pay $12 or $10 for some sandwiches and don't get what I paid for.
Hello? I'm here. I was waiting until you finished yelling at me. You're in Atlantic. I'm just on the phone right now. I'm on the phone with you. The employees just came up here and locked the freaking door. They did not make life for me. And at the store, we locked the door. What is the name of the sandwich shop? Excuse me? What is the name of the sandwich shop? Subway. Why is she humoring him? Thank you. I mean, isn't it illegal to make that kind of a call to 911? You would think so. Well, if I put myself in her shoes, it's like, okay, I have a crazy person outside of this store, so I need to send a unit to deal with the crazy person and protect. Because obviously if the subway employees have now locked themselves inside the store, they're scared. Who's crazier? This guy or the lady that called 911 thinking she was making a nanny 911 call? I say nanny 911. That was still crazier, right? That's craziest all time, right? That's craziest all time. Thank you. She's like, yeah, I have a nanny 911. Yeah, I need a babysitter. The 911 lady's like, no, I have a nanny 911. Unpause. What is your last name? What is your last name?
For the police, we'll get them over to you. Thank you. Send Jared over here. What do you think he thought could happen? You know, he must have got into an altercation with them inside the store. So that's what's up? That's what he's trying to get across. Maybe he's trying to do damage control. He knows he's in trouble because he did... I don't think he's that smart. No? Yeah, I wouldn't. He's not trying to go. It's their fault before the... Okay. There's a second call. Come on, Mike. What, Mike? There is. There's a second call. You called him back. No, he... Cut to... Jacksonville, 911, Hildebrand. 911, hello? Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry. I had a call not too long ago. My name is... I got a situation over here with a subway service shop. Do you have that address, sir? It's right here on Atlantic in Bowling. Okay, sir, what's going on there? Well, I ordered two sandwiches, and I asked for everything on my sandwich, and the other one I asked for certain things on the other sandwich. I didn't get what I paid for on the first sandwich that I ordered. So I brought the sandwiches back and asked if I could get my sandwiches made the way they're supposed to be made since I paid for them. She did not stay.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Do you suppose he's calling back because they didn't respond with officers to the first one? He likes the way he likes his sandwich the way he likes his sandwich. I can relate. I've heard that. I've heard that before. Some people like their sandwich the way they like their sandwich. I can understand. You're paying for it. Shouldn't you get it? Morgan Freeman, who got into a car accident the other day, apparently is getting a divorce. That guy's having a bad week. It is, man. This is all very interesting. Oh, break it. Let's go back to Sunday night, everyone. Okay. The night of the initial car accident. Okay.
So it's close to midnight, and he's driving with this woman who's like a friend of his wife's or something. And then they get in this car accident. The car flips. Jaws of life. Has to rip him out. The whole shebang. And then after that settled down, the past couple days, people have been saying, well, who is that woman? And why is Morgan's wife not there? And why are they traveling alone at like midnight? And the wife's not even like in the same state. Like what's going on? So all these shenanigans and rumors were going around. And it turns out. They announced late yesterday that Morgan Freeman and his wife are getting a divorce after 24 years of marriage. And that it does have to do with him having, you know, an ongoing relationship with one of her friends. How do we know that? Because do they say that on, like, the divorce papers or something? No, no. They do say that, you know, what we do know from his lawyer is that they've actually been legally and technically separated since December of 2007.
But, you know, all their, like, people, friends, have been talking and saying that, yeah, he has been having this ongoing relationship. Now, they won't specifically say... Well, if he's separated... Yeah, they've been separated since December. But they won't specifically say it was the same girl from the car accident or not. No one will, like, name names or point fingers. But, you know, it's been quite a week for Morgan. So, that's very interesting. It's a bad week. Yeah, it's too bad. They had a... OxyContin bust in Miami and it netted 56 government employees. Oh, wow. In connection to it. Yeah. We're talking a police officer, a court clerk, two corrections officers. Him too? 27 school bus drivers and attendants. Oh, what? Oh, what? Yeah, I guess they had more than 12,000 tablets with a street value of $400,000. And they were all working together to kind of scam the insurance to get these prescriptions and then take the pills and sell them on the street. The cop, the bus driver, the county clerk, the security officers, custodians, assistant teachers. Like, it's crazy. That's gnarly. Yeah.
Funny. Nicole Kidman is asking the paparazzi to give the new baby a little... A little space. A little space, yeah. Oh, well, they will then. Nicole Kidman and her hubby Keith Urban and their baby Sunday Rose, is that her name? I think that's her name, are back in Australia, back in Sydney, and have issued a statement that reads, quote, Keith and I are just appealing to the press to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show our baby the town. Just a little bit because she's tiny. She's not a doll. She's a real little thing. Just not right in our face or her face because it's scary for her. She's tiny, a tiny little thing. I'm down with that. I'm totally down with that. I mean, the paparazzi probably aren't going to do it because they're mean. Wasting breath. Well, I mean, it's worth saying it. I guess. You can try. Maybe you'll find a couple of compassionate ones that'll give the little baby a break. Yeah.
I think Nicole Kidman's used to it. But listen, you know me. This is my thought. And my wife and I were talking about this last night. She came up with some interesting points. What? She's heard me say that I think that we're in the wild, wild west days with MySpace. And that when they go on there and they say, when kids go on MySpace and they say, this girl at school, like they're talking about another girl at school. Like one girl's talking about another girl and she says, is a fat pig. And she's blah, blah. And that little girl gets so hurt that she kills herself, which happened, you know. And I said, we're in the wild, wild west days. And that what I think will eventually happen is that there will be laws in place that will say that doing that is like abusing someone. And my wife was like, yeah, I think that makes sense, you know. And I said, well. We got into this whole other conversation about how I feel like it's really wrong what like TMZ does with celebrities. I think it's wrong that they go on there and they write cottage cheese and they point to their legs. And the reason that I feel that way is because the person that is a celebrity is only doing what any of us would do if we had some sort of a talent.
It's not like you are a singer because you have natural ability to sing and you'd be at some coffee shop singing and somebody walks up and says, you know, you're a good singer and I work for a studio and I'd like to have you come record this demo. Maybe we'll sign you to a record contract. And the person is going to go, yeah, that's really good. But, you know, first I want to weigh the options of what celebrity really is, because I really want to think about the whole thing about celebrity. You see. I really would like to have a record contract, but that would put me in the limelight. And so I need to be able to sign off on what will come with being a celebrity. And that person's only doing what any of us would do. They're doing what I did. I had this talent for radio. I wanted to be in radio. And since I had a talent for it, I went for it. And I got promoted and, you know, things happen. Here's a Mikey show. We got seven people on there when I was 18 years old. And that was like my dream and everything. Am I supposed to be at that point asking myself, well, you know, Mike, one day they may take pictures of you and put how fat you are and how ugly and disgusting you are and how ugly and disgusting your wife is and how ugly your kid is and like point pictures at you and write that. Nobody does. All of the celebrities.
You got to take out of it whether they're bad people, whether they're good people, whether we're all bad people. Screw that. Forget that part. We're all bad. You know, Lindsay Lohan may be annoying. Paris Hilton may be annoying. All of these people may be annoying. But I still think that it's really gnarly to like do what TMZ does. And so my wife was asking me, which for the first time she was like making me think this. And I was like, oh, man, now you got me in a pickle. What? Well, she was like, if you think that there should be laws to regulate kids saying to other kids or people saying to other people on MySpace, this person's a pig and blah, blah, blah. She goes, what's the difference with TMZ? What's the difference with TMZ basically saying and doing the same exact thing? And I was like, well, you know, the celebrities in a public place. And she goes, you're going against what you said.
She goes, because you said just because they're a celebrity doesn't mean that they like signed up for you can like call me fat and you can like, you know, say awful, horrible, hurtful, really mean stuff. And she goes, and the awful, horrible, really mean stuff is the same awful, horrible, really mean stuff that the kids do to each other. And forget kids, 23, 24, 25, any age that say stuff about each other. What's the difference between other than one of them has a record out or a movie out and the other one goes to Grossmont College? What's the difference? It's still really like abusive. I mean, I've seen stuff on TMZ that's gnarly, man. Dude, it's gnarly. drives me crazy about it is it's so unnecessary. I mean, I think I'm kind of an atypical consumer of TMZ, Perez Hilton, X17. I'm on those sites every single day checking them out. And I would still be on those sites every single day if they weren't having the arrows and the weird things drawn in their mouth. Doesn't just the news
speak for itself right i still want to see those pictures i actually would prefer not to have your commentary i would prefer just to see the picture and a fact about what the picture's about absolutely if if britney spears goes out and she's not wearing any panties and they take a picture and now it's a big news story sky just said it if you post that picture and you are like and you have a journalistic take Britney Spears flashes photographers at 1055 last night in North Hollywood, Britney Spears, and you tell it like a news story. Aren't people going to, I mean, if what you're going for is people going, oh, whoa, that is crazy. If that's what you're going, like, why is it necessary to draw an arrow and like, just be, and you know, a lot of times it's, I've said to Sky, I'm like, dude, I don't even really get the humor. It's just. messed up. Whatever they're saying is just gnarly. I don't really understand it. When my wife was asking me that, I was like, oh man, my brain is now frozen. I'm not sure what I think. I'm not going to play the whole thing back, but I just want to give you a little bit of this. 911 call, Jacksonville, Florida, Subway Sandwich Shop. Cut one. Yes, ma'am. My name is Atlantic and Bowling Avenue, and I'm in a Subway sandwich shop and ordered two sandwiches, and I paid almost $12 for the sandwich. I did not get the sandwiches at the rate that they made to be made the way I wanted to. I brought the sandwiches back up here. The woman didn't tell me that she was going to make my sandwiches over. Okay? She told me that they can't do this, they can't do that. All right. Now, see if I'm on the phone with you, they locked the door on me. They got the sandwiches that I paid for inside their store. I'm not leaving here until I get what I paid for. I'm not going to see them paying $12 or $10 for some sandwiches and don't get what I paid for. Thank you.
All right, so this happened just a couple of days ago. Jacksonville Police just released the 911 call. And we have the store manager from the subway on the line. Her name is Tammy. Tammy, are you there? Yes, I'm here. How are you? Just fine. So were you there when this gentleman came in? No, I wasn't. My employees were, but I have the video at home because we have this security system, so I've seen everything that went on. All right, so what happened? He did come in and he ordered two sandwiches. One was a spicy and one was a chicken breast. And he asked for the works. He didn't ask for everything. He said the works. And then he said, I'm going next door. So he walked next door because we're by Texaco. And he went there. And when he came back, the works are just vegetables. So he got his sandwiches. He went outside. He came back a few minutes later saying there was no mayonnaise and mustard on there. And he became belligerent. And they asked him to leave and he wouldn't leave. And he said, make me. And so then when he did go outside, they locked the door on him for safety reasons. And they called the non-emergency police number while he was out there calling 911. Oh, my gosh. So he didn't understand that the works does not include what he wanted. We have the cleanup on our stores that says when you ask for the work, it shows the pictures of everything. And he is a pretty regular customer. Oh.
So, I mean, it's not like it was his first time ever being here. He lives behind the store in the neighborhood. And so when you heard about this, and obviously you know who the guy is, he's a regular, were you surprised or did it not surprise you that he flipped out like that? Well, I've been doing this a long time, so it did surprise me that, you know, but people get upset over the simplest things nowadays. Yeah. How about your employees? Are they shaken up by it or, you know, how do they react to it? Well, at the time they were shaken up because that's the reason they locked the door because they didn't know what to expect because he came belligerent inside the store. But once they locked the door and the police came, then they were okay. They finished out the night and they still work here. About what time of day did that happen? It happened at 745 Thursday night. And what happened when the cops got there? What do the cops do when they get there? Well, they came in and they asked what was going on. And, you know, they were trying to explain to him that... 911, you know, are for true emergency. Right. That, you know, he can't be doing this. Well, he was arguing with them and wouldn't understand, so they arrested him. Oh, my gosh, they did. They arrested him? Now, on what charges? For falsified 911 calls. Oh, really? Wow. Really? So do you know, like, do you have any idea, like, what can come of that? Like, how much trouble can you get in for that?
Oh, you can get in a lot of trouble. I know on the news what they said he received this morning, but he was facing up to one day of being a year in jail. Oh, my goodness. Because, I mean, it was three phone calls. It was three phone calls to 911. It wasn't just one. Oh, we heard two calls. There were three, and they're finding that out now. Oh, my gosh. But now what he received is he received a fine. Of $240, and he, you know, his time served. Now, he's a regular, you say. Would you allow him back in the store? That's a good question. Well, actually, he can't come back in the store. They put a trespassing warrant on him. Oh, okay, so he can't. I mean, I take and, you know, give everybody a second chance. I mean, honestly, he didn't hurt us. He only hurt himself. I would give him a second chance, but I would take and ask him to come in the store, preferably when I'm here. And in that way, I know he's treated right. I know there's no problem. But he does have a trespass and mourn on him, so he won't be allowed in for at least a year. I got a question. Now, what about this? I mean, if dude comes in and he's all, even if he is belligerent and he's yelling and screaming that you guys didn't put any mayonnaise or mustard, why not just put the mayo and mustard in there?
Okay. We have mayonnaise and mustard packages. I mean, if he didn't want it, we would even offer to remake the sandwiches because that's what we do. I mean, if you find something wrong with your sandwich or, you know, toasted too much or you didn't like the tomatoes or something like that. If you bring it back, we'll be more than glad to refund your money or remake your sandwiches. We're talking to Tammy. She's the store manager of the subway where this guy, we just played the audio at Jacksonville, Florida. He went into a subway, didn't get his sandwich the way he wanted it, so he called 911 freaking out. And they had to lock the doors of the store so he wouldn't come back in there because he was so belligerent. So, Tammy, you're saying this guy, he wanted... Mayonnaise and mustard on his sandwich, that's what he was upset about because he didn't get that? Yes, correct. And you're saying, well, if a customer wants mayonnaise and mustard on their sandwich, it's in packets? They are supposed to do it themselves? Oh, no, no. Because he left the store and he came back. And then if we didn't give him mayonnaise or mustard because he did not ask, we have the bottles. We'll put it on there. But when he said there's no mayonnaise and mustard, we could have did two things.
We could have opened the sandwiches, put it on there for him. We could have remade the sandwiches for him. Or we could have also gave him mayonnaise and mustard packages. So there were three ways that this could have been corrected. And what was the problem? He became belligerent. And, you know, they're like, you know, you can't do that or you have to leave. We can't have this. And he kept doing it. So they asked him to leave. Now, Sky is my news girl. And Sky is saying, well, it's easy, Mike. Guy was nuts. OK, but what I don't get is if Guy comes in and I said, even if he is belligerent, he's going, you didn't put mayonnaise and mustard on my sandwich, blah, blah, blah. Why don't they just go, oh, sorry about that. Let us do it. Well, because he was even saying in his 911 call that they wouldn't remake the sandwich. And she's saying it's their policy, too. So, you know, somewhere, somebody is full of it. Tammy, question. Are you sure that the employees weren't kind of having a little fun with this guy? No, sir. My employees have been here for a while. And like I said, I can see it at home.
on the video because I have live at home. I can pull it up and see it right there. He came in. He was at the wrong end of the counter. He went back to the other end of the counter. He's kind of pacing around, I guess deciding what he wanted is what it looked like to me. And after he decided what he wanted, because we have the $5 footlongs, I guess he decided he wanted $5 footlongs instead of the other one. That was a great plug, by the way, Tammy. You just got a great plug out there for the $5. Very well done. You know, so when he decided what he wanted, he's the one that decided to go next door. And any time somebody asks us for the work, that's what we put on there. Now, if I was here, I'm a manager. I'm more experienced with the situation. It would have been different because when he came back, I said, sir, you didn't ask for mayonnaise or mustard. Would you like that? I could put it on it. I could give it to you, you know. But, you know, they're hourly wage. They did, to me, they did what they were supposed to do. Mike, I have experience in the fast food industry and I rate customers. That's true. You know, sometimes when you get food thrown at you or, you know, there's the customer. Eddie, isn't it true that you're projecting right now? You're projecting your experience.
the customer becomes belligerent or irate. There's no dealing with that. I feel that when I was 16, I should have called 911 for the fry rape that happened to me. And I didn't even appreciate it one bit. So I understand what happened in this situation. And I think the subway employee handled it. wonderfully. The police was called, but it was a non-emergency number, and they were told that there was a belligerent customer, so it would not leave. Could somebody come up here? They called the step-off line. That's right. I appreciate it. Hey, listen, Tammy, I'm glad everybody's okay over there, and we appreciate you taking the time to come on and tell us about what happened. Okay, well, thank you very much. Thank you, Tammy. Appreciate it. $5 footlong. We'll see you. $5 footlong plug out there. She had to get that out. $5 footlong. That's right. Now, listen. This guy, he's kooky, man. This thing is making the rounds, man. You're hearing this thing everywhere now. Is this the $5 footlong song? It says 911's a joke. Is that what it is? I had no idea what that was. I had no idea that's what that was.
Let me read you some of the text messages that we're getting. Some of these text messages are strange. Yeah. But Rob gives me a good variety of what we're getting in here. Mikey, Nicole Kidman wants attention. No one cares since the Brad and Angelina twins were born. Interesting take, right? Yeah, I never thought of it that way. Okay. So, in other words, this person believes that they are not photographing her twins, that she's just... saying that they are to get attention Nicole Kidman yeah well she just has one baby not twins but yeah yeah okay so she's saying she's saying because of the Brangelina twins nobody's paying attention to little baby Sunday Rose and that um she's making up that the paparazzi are taking photographs of the child. Even though we've seen the evidence of the photographs. We've actually seen evidence of the photographs because we've seen the photographs of them. Yeah, and Nicole Kidman has said we will not be selling photos of our child like the Jolie Pitts and all the other people because, yeah, that's just not what we do. There you go. Sorry. This one says, Mikey, the First Amendment is in place to protect our rights. Otherwise, we might end up like China. First Amendment.
First Amendment text. Freedom of speech. Freedom of speech. That's in regards to saying that the paparazzi can't draw arrows and point at cottage cheese. Kids can't call each other names. Where do we draw the line as far as censoring people so we don't turn into China? I guess we draw the line when kids are committing suicide because of it. It's like they're being... I think it does more harm than punching someone in the face. Well, I feel like it's encouraging it. TMZ is encouraging kids who go on the website to do what they're doing. That's the cool thing to do. Maybe they are. Maybe they are encouraging. But the point is they're doing it. I mean, you could pick apart the implications of, well, what happens as a result of doing it? Okay, great. We could talk about that all day long. I'm talking about is the act of doing it. And is it harmful? You know, a First Amendment right is great, but it's harmful if you go into a crowded movie theater and scream fire. You're not allowed. That's against your First Amendment right. You don't have the right to go scream fire in a busy movie theater because people will be harmed by it. And I think that people are harmed by this stuff that happens on MySpace when kids are saying stuff about others. I think it harms them way worse than getting punched.
It's so harmful. In fact, the effects of it last a lifetime. And like I said, I think we're in the early stages. But what's the difference? Because I didn't say any of that stuff. I said, man, there should be laws. These kids saying this stuff about other kids, man, it's messed up. And it's like walking up to a kid and punching them and beating them up. In fact, it's worse. And I was saying all this stuff to my wife. She says, what's the difference between that and TMZ? And I went, oh, wow, man, that got my brain working. Yeah, but you get into a weird place when you talk about censoring people, even if you're censoring them from being mean and hurtful. But still, you're censoring. We're censoring by telling people they can't go into a movie theater and scream fire. We're censoring them. That's my First Amendment right.
If I want to play a practical joke and that's my sense of humor, I live in America, I can do that. That's my freedom of speech. I'm allowed to say something if I want to. Yeah, but there's been plenty of people who've been called names who haven't committed suicide. No, but they've been harmed and we can prove it. Yeah, their feelings have been hurt. We can give them their testimony. But you give somebody a dirty look, their feelings are hurt. Like where do we draw the line on how you can hurt someone's feelings? When they testify and say that it hurt my feelings so bad and here's the bills that I had to pay for going to a shrink. Listen, there's going to be plenty of people that could testify to how much harm it does. My kid can't go to school anymore. He's so afraid. He's going to be made fun of and mocked and laughed at. I mean, we can all relate to that. I personally... It's been going on forever. Hey, man, I'm not a censor guy. I believe that the Howard Stearns and the shock jocks and all that stuff, I was one of them. And I thought then that I had the right to say it, and I think it now. We have the right to say, to make, you know, off-color jokes. You know, and if you don't want to listen to it, don't listen to it. I still don't like these right wing organizations or even Christian organizations that go on a rampage against DJs. I do. I do believe it's our First Amendment right to be able to say stuff. And I think that if you don't like listening to it, you should not. But what I don't think is OK is is harming others. I don't think harming others is OK.
I think it's that is that's interceding on their right to live a peaceful life. We all have a right to live a peaceful life. This is an interesting text message. Mikey, what is your deal with the movie Kramer versus Kramer? P1 runs too hot. You got to just keep listening. Right. Is that the simple answer to that? Just keep listening. It's your go-to movie joke. It's my go-to. It's your reference. It's my go-to movie reference. It's Kramer vs. Kramer. And it has been for 20 years. I've never one time used it inappropriately. It's always in context. That is debatable. It makes sense every single time that it's been used. It makes sense. Agree to disagree. Mikey, thank you for the opportunity of letting me text. I just wanted to get out there that my opinion is that Denny's Moons Over My Hammy is the best breakfast there is. Wow. Sky, you hear that? That's a text message I got, Sky. That's a text message. It's not cute. It's not cute. You're working it out. Makes it way worse. Mikey, I was just listening to some old podcasts about Zeth and his love life.
I'm just curious if anything ever happened with him and Danielle or anyone in general. Danielle was a girl that we had come in the studio a long time ago. And, of course, that didn't go out with her. He thought she was too old. He needs somebody like in their young 20s. And Danielle was like in her late 20s or early 30s. So he wants to be young. That's his right. He's allowed to. He's just a baby. He's just a baby. He's only somebody with a beard. Yeah, he wants, yeah, he's looking for somebody with a beard. Handlebar mustache. Yeah, well. So, either of them. Yeah, but the guy goes, that is one of the stupider things. Oh, my God. Look at that. Wait a minute. Oh, no. I know. Hey, guys, it's Dr. Wayne calling. Oh, no. Why don't you guys lay off a Zeth over there? I'm a big P1. I'm here listening to the show. And, you know, my favorite character on the show is Zeth. Well, that's interesting. I mean, Zeth doesn't really talk very much. I know, but I'll tell you what. Sometimes less is more. When the guy talks, he usually has something great to say. Isn't that right there, Zethi? Zeth? Are you there, Zethian? Yeah, what's up? Hey, it's me, Dr. Wayne. I'm a local chiropractor in the area. I also specialize in deep tissue and Swedish massage. Which is weird. How are you, Zeth? Just wanted to introduce myself, even though we've talked a few times. How come you don't turn my IMs?
You know, I got his I.M. name. How'd you get that? Paparazzi? You could buy just about anything nowadays. Oh, hey. That is odd. Eddie hit on it, got it from paparazzi. I met up with Brad the other night while we were drinking at a bar in Hillcrest, and I said, hey, you wouldn't happen to have Zethian's I.M. address, would you? You were in Hillcrest? This is all strange. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not going to lie. Yeah, I like Greek food. The best places are down there. I go to a place called the Mustache Falafel. I don't care about the name. I just like falafel. Did you see Rob out in Hillcrest this morning? No, I didn't. What would I be doing in Hillcrest if I wasn't getting a falafel, Scott? Well, I don't know. It seems that you hang out there quite often. The only reason I go to Hillcrest is to go to Mustache Falafel. That's the only reason I'd ever be here. My bad. Anyway, I just wanted to mention I also have a degree in sports medicine. So, Seth, I can work out all those old football injuries that you have. Don't worry about it. I'll just talk them right out. I think he played baseball, actually. Baseball injuries. I'm all set. Mustache falafel, 2 o'clock. Oh, 2 o'clock? Is he talking to Seth? What the heck? He's Dr. Wayne. I like falafel, but I... So weird. I don't know if I'm going to mustache falafel. Maybe that's just a name.
That sounds gross. I'm envisioning hair in my... Who wants that? Magnum P.I. It's weird. Let's see. Mikey just wanted to tell you guys that you guys are awesome and I have a marshy migraine. I can relate. Mikey, can you guys please talk about yesterday's Man vs. Wild? No! You should. But I haven't seen it yet. But you said yesterday you were going to watch it. It's a brand new episode. You said you were going to watch it. Eddie, did you watch it? It was awesome. I won't give anything too much away so that Mike can enjoy it. No, no, that's all right. I can talk about it. Mike can just leave the room. No, no, no. We gave the... Sky wants me off the show in the worst way. She just wants me off the show so bad. When you guys got lost, when I haven't seen it, I leave the room.
I'm just saying. It's what we do. Mike, look, I'm begging you. Leave the show. Get the heck out of here. Mike, go on vacation. Anything. Hit the bricks, toots. Aren't you craving refried beans? It's a burrito. Don't you have a garden you need to tend to? There's a ripening strawberry somewhere. Bricks, pal, and beat it because you are going out. Okay, what happened? I want to see it so bad. This guy is incredible. He is. He's incredible. He's the best. It's, you know, okay. So as we heard yesterday in the little show synopsis, he had a little trouble with some bees. Oh, no. He decides, you know, he finds a beehive and decides, hey. Beehive, there's honeycomb. I want some honeycomb. Haven't we seen him do that before? I remember one time he was starving and he was somewhere where there was a bee thing going on. This was seasons ago. And he started a little fire. Smoke them out. And he smoked them out. It was very similar. He did that. He started a little fire. The smoke made the bees angry. I thought it was supposed to calm them down. It was, but it just didn't work for some reason.
But he still wanted that honeycomb. I mean, it was delicious. So he goes in with his knife, cuts off a piece of honeycomb, and he covered up most of his body, tucked his shirt in, but his forehead and eyes were exposed. And so a bee lands on his, like, eyebrow. Yeah. And he's like, oh, get away. Yeah. And then finally says, screw it, removes the bee, but it stung him. Uh-oh. And he's like, ah, just one sting, no big deal. Eats the honeycomb. Looks delicious, by the way. Nice and sweet. He's in Baja, Mexico, right? Baja, Mexico. Starts walking and his face... He has an allergic reaction to the bee sting. His face swelled up twice the size of his normal face. To the point of where both his eyes were almost swollen shut. It... When I first saw his face, I shrieked. I shrieked. Like Ayo. I called my wife into the room. I said, you have to watch this. This is crazy. He looked like a different person. You looked like a boxer that just went 12 rounds? Yeah, pretty much. So then he's walking along with this crazy face. And, you know, he's dehydrated. It's, you know, 130 degrees in the desert. Comes across a rattlesnake.
Oh, come on. And decides, well, I got to eat. So even though I can barely see the snake, I'm going to try and kill it. No way. So he's eyes closed, whacking at the snake, trying to kill the snake. Are you kidding me? A diamond head rattler. Diamond bag. He called it something else. Randy Johnson. Yeah. This is called the Rattler. Johnson. It was incredible. Wow. Incredible. He's the best. Unreal. Can't wait to go home and watch that. Yeah. He eats some other good stuff, too. And then he does something. Oh, no. He does something with the snake skin that you will be in awe of. He's great. Makes a canteen and carries water around. Close? Close. Don't tell me. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. This text message says, hey, this is P1. I love Sean. Please let Sean know I love him. Thanks. This text says, Mikey, the Bugatti actually costs $1.8 million. We have three down here at Symbolic in La Jolla. I was talking about the Bugatti Veyron. And I don't know if it's Veyron or Veyron. But it's the same car that Simon Cowell drives.
And I thought it was a million dollars, but I guess it's 1.8. That's it? It's 1,001 horsepower. And it says 0 to 60 and 2.4. That's it? 2.4. It gets seven miles to the gallon. Oh, my gosh. 1,001, 1,002, 1,60. Oh. It's a crazy car. It is the most powerful production vehicle in the world. That's crazy. You want one, don't you, Mike? I don't want one. You don't? Maybe I do. Mikey, my first job was at Subway and one night customer at a place spit on me because I didn't give him enough tuna. Oh, yuck. Yuck and yuck. Sorry about that. Been there. Long night of drinking. Mikey, I've been looking for the video of Eddie breaking the glass on the website since you guys talked about it on Tuesday and can't find it anywhere. Well, first of all, let me be clear here. We don't actually capture the glass breaking. We capture, it broke, and then it was like, everybody, get your cameras and your video cameras. Right. After the aftermath. We're capturing the moments right after it happened. Now, I do have the video, but it's a big file, and I tried to send it to Sean, and it didn't make it. So I'll make sure that he gets it today. Okay. Mikey, if Sky lived in the days of knights, would she reside in Hamelot? It's P1, Brian Gumbel's nephew. I mean, really?
Listen, it's a question only Skye can answer. I don't know the answer to that. Skye, if you lived in the days of the nights, would you live in Hamlet? I like Ham. Right. Am I supposed to answer that? Would you live somewhere else? Maybe you'd be like, you know, no, I wouldn't live there. If I like the area, if it was a nice area, maybe, but... The Hamptons. I mean, play into it. It doesn't matter, actually. Because, I mean, I'm alive right now in 2008, so I don't know why it matters. Birmingham. Hamantonio. My thought doesn't, that's not real. Mikey, Brett Favre going to the Jets is a great idea. Regards, Joe Montana playing for the Chiefs. That never happens. That never happens. Mikey, the Jets are not the Packers and don't have the weapons of the defense that the Packers have. You're crazy to draw comparisons to the Jets. Whatever. I think they do look alike, don't you, Eddie? They're both green. Yeah, that is the fact. These are facts. Mikey, I went around Hillcrest for an hour looking for the gas monkey. I was so disappointed I couldn't find him. Are pictures going to be posted? Of course they are. Hillcrest. It's P1 Kelly.
If you want to text us, 35253 is our text number, 35253. And our phone number to call us is 570-1053. Sean likes watching. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Whatever Sean likes. Well, you know that it might be not as gay as something. Watched by Mikey when he's watching. You know he's standing up. Ladies and gentlemen, Sean TV was created... Out of a desire to delve into the life of our boy, Sean. See, Sean watches everything on TV. Yes. Absolutely everything. Then he comes on the air and he tells us about these new shows he's watching. Now, when I say everything, I do mean everything. The shows usually suck. That is 100% true.
Oh, that was rude. Been doing Sean TV for about a year and a half, two years, and there's been a couple. Solid gold. All of them, every last one. Solid gold. Every once in a while, he'll give us a show we can't even understand because it's like a show in Japanese. That's weird. That's subtitles we can't see. No, radio. Well, you know, use your imagination. All right. Yeah, it could be anything. Yeah, you speak a language in your imagination. You do it through a description. descriptions yeah okay but but sean you just laugh when you're watching it you're just every once in a while you'll shout out yeah look at that you know and that's we can't really garner anything from that so it's not really information it's more of a reaction you know um that that is a point sean what is today's show that you're going to share with us my It's a show that was on in the 70s starring George Papone. No, no, no. You do that all the time. No, no, no. You do that all the time. No, you don't. No, you do Banachek all the time. No. Can't do Banachek. No. For the fifth time. No, I'm not going to do Banachek. Okay. Next time. All right. This week, there's a great show running on Bravo.
Which, by the way, has a lot of great shows. But this particular one is called Flipping Out. Oh, yes. This show is the best. This is an awesome show. No joke. More solid gold. No joke. So Skye and Ashley are aware of Flipping Out on Bravo. I think I might have seen it. Yeah, I've watched it many times. What is it? I've seen it. It's highly addictive. It's about a guy named Jeff who lives in Los Angeles. He is a house flipper. but he specializes in doing more of the higher end of the market. Sean, explain to listeners that don't know what flipping a house means. Specifically. No, I know what it means. Oh, sorry. I watch the show. My boyfriend's dad does it. Oh my gosh, I didn't even know I mentioned him right there, but since I did. Yeah, my boyfriend who I love. My boyfriend, whom I love. I love you so much. With all of my heart and soul and being, he's my soulmate. I'll say yes. Please. I beg you to propose to me. I mean, what do I have to do over here? All right. Let's calm down a little. Ask me to marry you. I will say yes. Mark, I want to make this very clear to you. If you ask me, I will say yes. Okay, I think you've got it now. Do you understand, Mark? Go ahead, Sean. So flipping a house, what does that mean?
Basically, you buy a home that is undervalued and you fix it up. Usually, these homes are in various states of disrepair. Things need to be repaired or upgraded. And this guy in particular, he usually goes into a home and he rips out everything, all the walls, all the fixtures. He replaces everything and sells it for an enormous profit, usually about a quarter of a million dollars. The interesting thing about Jeff, though, is that he has OCD really bad. He's a crazy person, Mike. He really is crazy. And in a way, he's kind of lazy because he has hired a group of people to pretty much handle everything in his life. He's got a housekeeper. He's got a personal assistant. Plus, he has... Two people, which he calls house assistants, that actually manage the day-to-day operation of his home. Taking care of his animals, taking out the trash, things like that. In this clip right here, though, he is having a conversation with one of his contractors through his personal assistant named Jenny. And he's just too much to handle. Jesse!
Jeff wanted me to let you know we have to be done by the weekend. The floor guy starts a week from today. I need more people. Tell him her husband's out of town until tonight. Cut him off. Cut him off. Cut him off. Jesse. Jesse, stop. Listen. Cut him off. We're going to give you that money tomorrow, Jesse. We're going to give you that money tomorrow. No, ask him if he can do the stain dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. Do the stain very dark. No, he doesn't know what you're talking about. Tell him we decided to stain it. You know what? You know what? We're going to get the stain for you. I am cutting him off. Slow down. That's fantastic. That is so awesome. Can I tell you something? Can I tell you something so whacked out? As I was listening to that clip, I was 100% relating to that guy. I was feeling what he was feeling.
And I was thinking to myself, the guy don't understand. He's talking at the same time, so he's not... Cut him off. Cut him off. He doesn't understand what you mean, but he... I'll say this right now. That man that was on the other end of the line, the Mexican guy, he has no idea that something needs to be staying dark. No. Dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. He has no idea. He has no idea. And that makes me anxious. Because I know he doesn't know what to do. Cut him off. Cut him off. Cut him off. Tell him in dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. He doesn't know what you're talking about. Cut him off. Why doesn't he just talk to him? I can tell you. This is his whole life. He wants to tell other people what to do in every aspect of his life. Everything. He's dealing with his life. I can tell you as a person that is like that guy. I know you want to know why he said dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. He felt like the more times he said that, the better his chances are of it being dark. And he was sure it would be dark by doing it that way. Well, since the real estate market has dried up to a certain extent, he started doing renovations for homeowners. So he'll go into someone's house and he'll, you know, got the place and he'll do like the flipping thing that he does.
But he'll do it for people that already live in a home, and he does it for a much more modest price. But the problem is that the home that he's currently working on, they gave him a certain budget to work with, and they took away $4,000 because the wife of the guy is spending all the money for the renovations. And Jeff has absolutely had it with her when she returns with a jungle gym for her kids. I know you didn't have any money. I don't have any money. That looks expensive. How much was that? Just out of curiosity. How much was it? What do you mean? How much was the playhouse? What did you pay for the playhouse? When you wrote the check, what was the number? I think it was like $2.99. I'd like you to take this back. Where's the receipt? I'm not taking it back. Take it back right now. I'm not taking it back. You tell me you have no money, and then you go shopping. And you spend $300 on a playhouse that your kids don't need. Okay, I have kids. Reminder. Ding, ding. Yeah, and go to the park. You cannot shop anymore. Okay, I am a mother of three children. Listen, I understand you probably do this justification to your husband, but you're not going to do it with me. That needs to go back. And I need the $300 to finish the house. I got the $300 playhouse because I knew that you would be angry. You don't really get it. Anytime your housekeeper cooks and something splatters against the wall, you're going to have stains on the wall because I can't afford backsplash tile because you are $4,000 short because you're shopping. I can't hear you.
Literally, it's like your mouth is moving, but nothing's coming out. That's funny. That's fantastic. What is it about people when you ask them something and they know they're in trouble and they go, what do you mean? What do you mean? It's a very simple question. How much? How much was that? What do you mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I understand. You're confused. No, you're confused. What do I mean? Dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. I mean... Cut them off, cut them off, cut them off. How much money... What did you write on the check? What was the number? What was the number on the check? Yeah, so good. I don't know. It was like $2.99. You're taking it back. Oh, so good. That was great. Yeah, the show's called Flipping Out. It's on Bravo TV, Tuesdays at 7 o'clock. That was a good one. All right, fine. All right, fine. Literally. At like 9 o'clock on Sundays. Well said. Most shows are getting off the air right now. We're not. We still have stuff. We still have material. There's no reason to if we still have material. All of the video of Ashley's eating competition is up.

License originates from the city of San Diego. Just wanted to let you know that we are licensed. Hey, funny guy. I just, I don't know. And boom goes the dynamite. Okay, that was weird. Mikey, this is P1 Babe. I just want to say I love Sean TV. Sean captured my heart today.
Wow. There it is. Sean, Sky was just reading this story that she just saw in the news, and I wanted to ask you about it. Apparently, a guy was fired up in your area. We work for Clear Channel. Clear Channel. Clear Channel. We work for Clear Channel. Clear Channel. And Sean works up in Clear Channel, San Francisco. He's up there right now. We look at him on a camera. It says that some guy was fired in your building, Sean. Yeah, they fired my boss. He's your boss? Yeah, he's my boss. Who is it, this guy? Oh, what's the guy's name? Let's see. They fired two people. Let's see. One was the PD, Jazzy Jim Archer. And then the night personality, Joe Breezy, was also fired because of this fiasco. Sean, do you call him Jazzy?
No, no, no. What is it? Jazzy Jim what? Jim Archer. Jim Archer? Yeah. Do you just call him Jim? No. Do they really call him? No, I got it. I got it. Everybody calls him Jazz. Yeah. Is the Fresh Prince of San Fran okay? Oh, wow. What happened, Sean? My understanding is they did a prank on the air. It was like around April Fool's where they offered breasts. From a Dr. Sanders. Mm-hmm. Leaving people to think that they were going to get, like, breast enhancement surgery from a Dr. Sanders. Mm-hmm. But it was really Colonel Sanders from KFC and they were chicken breasts. I'd have been okay with that except that the doctor part, like, if they would have, you know, like, that's not... Yeah. Doesn't work. Yeah. But there's Dr. Sanders isn't Colonel. That doesn't work. I know. Don't work. Anyway, so why'd they fire him?
The person filed the lawsuit. No. But the person accepted the prize of the chicken breast, obviously upset, but still took the chicken breast and then went and got a lawyer and filed a lawsuit. Isn't that the spirit of April Fool's, though? Absolutely. I mean, the whole thing is awful. It's awful. So the lawsuit's filed, so the company goes, oh, let's get rid of these guys. That's bad. That's brutal. Yeah. It was not funny. Pretty harmless, man. Come on. Give me a break with that. Take a chilp. Chill pill. Chill pill. So they fired the program director and the DJ that did it? Yeah. Why did the program director get fired for what the DJ did? He was part of the whole thing. I mean, he was in on the planning of it. That sucks. Yeah. That's awful. It's really awful. Is it the decision of a manager locally or does it go further up than that? Way up, yeah. Way up? Yeah. Really? Yeah. That's... Yeah, it really is a bummer. He was really... Jazz was a really cool person. He really loved radio. And he just did a lot of good work, man. Good work. That sucks. Yeah. It's their loss, really. I bet he goes across town, beats them up. Oh, for sure. Always what happens, man. A worst thing for a company is a guy that's all... That gets, you know, disappointed by their company.
That's the worst thing. Oh, wow. And then I'm just reading more about it. So the chick accepted the chicken, but they knew they kind of jacked her over because it was April Fool's Day. So they also gave her front row tickets to Kanye and a $500 Victoria Secret gift certificate. And then backstage passes to their like wild jam concert. Those Kanye tickets weren't cheap either. And she accepted all that? She took all that and then got a little. Now, here's the deal. I wasn't with you. I wasn't following when you said she accepted the chicken. I wasn't with you on that one. I was like, well, you know, when that happens, you're probably just in shock. You're walking out of the building with a bucket of chicken or something. You know what I mean? But when you tell me that, it's like, lady, it's kind of hard to file a lawsuit after you just met Kanye. You know what I mean? You still have Kanye's lipstick from kissing your cheek and taking a picture with you. Yeah. And you're going to the attorney. That's not very nice. That's too bad. Nothing they can do, Sean. Right. Nothing they can do. Brutal. Brutal. I always get really bummed out when I hear radio stories like that. Just, you know, where I've been, radio. And just kind of like what's right and wrong. Like, I think it's wrong of this chick to file a lawsuit. And then I think it's extra wrong of the company not to stand behind their employees when the employees didn't do anything wrong.
You know, that's my take on it. It's like if they really did something wrong and they did something really bad, like, OK, but this isn't that. I think they did do something wrong. I think they did. I don't think the punishment is even close to fitting the crime. Like, OK, so they did something like they did something wrong. And nine times out of 10 doing something wrong in like nine times out of 10, this exact thing that they did wrong isn't going to result in anything. It's going to be funny and people both get it on both sides and it's fine. But if you really look at it, they told her they were giving her a boob job or they implied that they were giving her a boob job. And then they said, no, we're not. We're going to give you 500 bucks and you get to meet Kanye West. Now, most of us, nine times, more than that, 99% of the time, 99 out of 100 people, probably even more than that, are fine with it. And so when the person files a lawsuit, I can see as the company going, man, you guys screwed up here. We're in a lawsuit now. I wish you guys wouldn't have done that. But there is no way that I would say, let's fire you guys. You know what I'd say? I'd say, you guys, you've got to be careful, man. You don't know that you're going to get some whack job that's going to win the contest and sue us. You know we've got to dot our I's and cross our T's. Be careful. That's what I would say. And then I would say, let's go to lunch. I mean, it was April Fool's. Come on.
And you know most DJs, if they didn't do like an April Fool's joke, they'd have their PD going, why didn't you do anything for April Fool's? It's a missed opportunity. You know, listen, but you know us. We're always trying to cover our butts. We do. We try to cover our butts on the show. When we're doing bits, we're always like... Well, you have to. You have to. Because you know, I'll tell you this. I would not have done that bit. Because I would have been nervous. Eddie knows. I would have said to Eddie, I'd have gone, what happens if this chick freaks out? And you know what Eddie would have said? Eddie would go, she probably won't take the stuff. Eddie would go, we're offering her some pretty good stuff. And I would probably go, yeah, it's true. We're going to give her some pretty good stuff. And it is April Fool's Day. I'd be freaked out, though. I'd be freaked out that a person has been told that they've won what could be like a $5,000 prize. Yeah, but I don't think they were ever told they won that. It was all in the wording. It was all like, oh, we're getting you breasts, new breasts. You think you're getting a boob job. So you think you're getting a boob job, but they never said you're getting a boob job. How did they say it, Shawnee? They said it just like Sky said. It was, we'll get you new breasts. Oh, see, I think you're saying it, man. I think you're, boy. There's no way I'd have done it. There's no way I'd have done it. I'd have been afraid that I was going to get.
Some chick that's whacked out. It's like, I want my boob. Okay, great. Give me Kanye. Give me blah, blah, blah. But I want my boob job. A boob job is like four grand. When I got my boob job. Well, first I went to TJ and it was terrible. So I had to go have that taken care of. It was a total. Wow. And then I've been afraid. It's four or five. It's four to six G's. I would think. For Cheech. For Cheech. Wow. Yeah, when my friend got one, it was 5G's. Yeah, for the set. For the set. A great boob job, I think, is like $6,000. When I got mine. Okay. Yeah, talk about it. It's great, by the way. They look lovely. They look lovely? They do. Thank you. Yeah. Because you don't hear people say it. What the hell? Really? Really? Really? Don't you laugh. Don't you laugh. Somebody should fire that guy for a while. I'm going to corporate. I'm going to corporate. Fire him.
He's getting more random and more bizarre with it. We're in the middle of a conversation. More bizarre with it. Imagine if we were like in this serious, like totally like, you know, and all of a sudden he fires off Keon. How dare you. How dare you, sir. That shines. You got to screw loose. You do. Yours is. The feds dropped that investigation with the Heath Ledger, Mary Kate. Yeah. Whoa. That was quick. Why'd they drop it? Well, so basically what it came down to is they were. Dark Knight made 400 million. And they were like, hey, can't touch that. Yeah. So basically what they were trying to find out is where he got some of these prescription drugs that weren't prescribed to him. And they were putting a lot of manpower into it. And they had even subpoenaed Mary Kate Olson.
And she didn't want to talk. She wanted immunity. It was getting messy. And then I guess someone high up was like, so we're going through all of this to try and track down where a couple pills came from. Like, I don't think it's going to bust some drug ring wide open. You never know. It's kind of a waste of time and money. So they dropped it. And now basically the subpoena against Mary Kate Olson is dropped, too, because the case is dropped. And boom goes the dynamite. She was probably pretty happy to get that phone call. I'm sure she was. Yeah. Probably happy. So is Jenna Jameson pregnant? Oh. She's dating Tito Ortiz. Yes. Is she pregnant? Yes, she is. Oh. Really? Yeah. I mean, she hasn't come out and confirmed it, but basically everyone in the world has confirmed it for her. It's one of those things like they're not actually saying. And I guess she is really excited. This is something she's wanted for a long time. She has a long history of miscarriage. She went through in vitro. It didn't work for her. Like the whole thing with her ex-hubby back in 2006. So I guess it was a really pleasant shock for her and Tito. And they're supposedly over the moon about it. Great story. Compelling and rich. Shai, how is this next one a story? Yeah.
Justin Timberlake says he cuts his own hair. Okay. How is this? I read that. Well, he was listening to Justin Timberlake. Was that interested? Was that interested? He was listening to The Mikey Show, and he heard Sean talking about how Sean cuts his own hair, and he said, hey, I'm going to give it a shot. Does he put a garbage bag down? Yeah, yeah, he does. He cuts open a garbage bag and lays it out like Sean. Shut your mouth. Yeah, he says that he does. The story is that it's a story. Yes, yeah. I read that this morning, too, and I'm like, really? Yeah, so he doesn't go to any fancy salons. He also dresses himself. That's right. He says he cuts his own hair. He has his own shoes. Yep. He keeps himself. Q-tips himself. Whoa. Oh, wait. Hey, guys. Most people go to a Q-tip salon. Okay. I was at the Q-tip salon yesterday. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you can never. Eddie knows this. He can never. And always when I go in there, it's like an Asian guy and like kids are running around when I go to my Q-tip place. Yeah. I used to have this Q-tip guy. Right. Eddie can relate to this. I used to have a Q-tip guy in Carmel Valley. Oh, what happened? I moved and I just didn't want to drive to that Q-tip dude. No. So I found this Filipino joint by where I go. Uh-huh. And I go in there and there's always like somebody sitting there wearing a diaper or whatnot. I'm like, what is going on? Eddie, are you releasing? I know this.
Confused. Eddie has had this happen. I have not. Well, this went well. But you know what it's like when you haven't had your ears Q-tipped in like four months or whatever and you're just like, oh, I'm going out of my... Yeah, like a candle growing in there. That's right. Put a wick in it. Dude, one time when I was... In college, we had, you know, we lived in, like, student living or whatever. It wasn't dorms. It was before Cal State San Marcos had dorms. So we were in, like, apartments. But it was a bunch of students. And me and my girlfriend, Michelle. Okay, how do I explain this part? Well, anyway. Uh-oh. Oh, this is getting weird already. Whatever this is is weird and bad. Me and a group of people are all locked in a bathroom together. Why? Because we want to restrict the airflow. We formed a turd pact. No, we were partaking in something where you restrict the airflow. What do they call that? Hot boxing? And what have you. And one of the dudes decides to open my bathroom cabinet. You're so immature. And I have a thing of Q-tips in there. And he takes this Q-tip and sticks it in his ear. And I swear to you.
I don't believe this person has ever used a Q-tip in their life. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Like Eddie said, it was like a frigging candle, but it was like a black candle. So gross. Yeah. It was like the grossest thing I have ever seen in my life. I Q-tip my ears every other day. Oh, really? Skye, you could put your finger in my ear right now, and it's the cleanest ear you'll ever see. I do mine like twice a day. Twice a day? That's not healthy. Dude, I'm for real. You're not supposed to, but I do mine every day. I've never had any ear problems. Every time I put that Q-tip in my ear, my right leg starts to shake. I'm like, oh, yeah, that feels so good. Oh, yeah. You don't need to show us. You don't need to show us. Cut him off. Cut him off. Cut him off. Cut him off. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. Dark brown. So what's the, like, rule? How often are you supposed to? You're not supposed to do it every day. Like, they tell you it's dangerous. Yep. What? That's what they say. Why is it dangerous? But I've never had an ear rake. They say it's dangerous to do it every day? Yeah. I don't know why. I guess, I don't know. You're not supposed to be shoving stuff in your ears. Well, you know what? The wax helps your ears. It, like, protects it. No, it doesn't. My aunt's a nurse. Oh, yeah, it is. My aunt is, too. My aunt. What's an aunt? You know, like, my mother's sister? Oh, that's your aunt. Your mom. That's your aunt. His mom. You're cute, Rob.
She's a nurse. She told me this. She knows what's up. Listen to this guy. One thing I learned. Nurse. Plus it helps when you don't have a nurse. Yeah. Huh. I say it's good for you. It's really not. Wow. I wonder if there's proper. I would love for somebody from Johnson and Johnson. Anyone? To come on and say, this is the way that you are properly. I'll bet you. Call Rick Johnson. Call Rick Johnson. Johnson and Johnson. That's Boy Blender. I bet you. I bet you that they say the official word from Q-tip is you're not supposed to stick it in your ear. Like you're just supposed to do like the outer part? Outer part. The part, the little curl in there. Right. Which is the grossest part, by the way. Oh, dude. I'm very uncomfortable. Please. But I bet they say that's what the Q-tip is for. The Q-tip is not meant to go in the ear canal, but that's where I stick it. Oh, dude. All up in it. All up in there. Now tickle that sucker. Yeah. You already did it. You just flicked the mic. I didn't do it yesterday, so I did the two of them. This is unacceptable. It's become criminal. I want to call 911. It's become filthy. You're a filter. You're earwax. Good one. Thanks, guys. Something about the Q-tip thing. We're talking about Justin Timberlake cutting his own hair. Oh, yeah, and you going to the Q-tip salon.
Really went off on a tangent. Yeah. A little bit. A little bit. Q-tips are a good topic. Yeah. Great story, compelling, and rich. She just called in. I guess she's like an EMT assistant or something like that. And she didn't want to come on, but she said, don't stick Q-tips in your ear because it puts the wax down your ear canal. Not if you know what you're doing. How many people have heard that? I've never had one ear problem. Every day. Not even once. What you have to do. Is you have to put the Q-tip up and go over any said wax and yank it out of there. Oh, my. I don't know about that. The trick is you go really, really deep, kids. No, no. That is not what you do. A Q-tip and a hammer and you get to wax. No, you do not. No, you do not. Tip for the kids. Stop it. You don't want to do that. Katie Holmes says that she is a nerd. You want to hear the exact quote from her? Let me ask you a question before you read. Does it irritate women to hear pretty women say that they're fat or to say that they're this or to say that they're... In high school, they were the ugly duck. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Jessica Alba. I don't mind that. Really? I don't mind that. Like when it's now and they're like, I'm a nerd. And you're like, really? Really?
Glamazon. Yes, exactly. Really glamorous lady? You're a nerd, is that it? We all feel so bad for you. Or when the real in-shape looking girls now, I'm not talking like the weightlifter types, but just a regular girl and she's like, I'm so fat. Half of American women are like, shut. Stop with that already. I just do this really cool thing where I'll just be like, oh, seriously, you are. Like, you need to drop some massive LBs. Like, especially behind your thighs. Like, it looks like crap. That's what you should do. And that's what I do. And then all my friends, now it's like a big joke. And like, that's how we roll. Dude, it's too bad that when Katie Holmes said that, the person that was there was like, I'm so glad you finally said it. Because like, I was just saying with my girlfriends. So she's a nerd, according to her. So you want to hear the quote? Yep. I can't deny that I'm a nerd. I am who I am. I'm pretty normal. I'm not a smooth type of girl. I run into things. I trip. I spill food. And I say stupid things. I really don't have it all together. But I'm working on it. I really am. That doesn't make you a nerd. That's a clumsy idiot. I'm all of those things. And I am not a nerd. Thank you, Ashley. She's airheaded. Oh.
No, you know what I'm saying? She is not a... Hey, that's our friend. I mean, she has a heart. I'll take anyone down in a verbal battle. Thank you. Who wants to try to call me? You're smart. That's right. Another freestyle battle? Oh, not again. Yeah, Mike. That's right. Mike, Mike, Mike. Guns N' Roses' appetite for destruction is going to be reissued. But I already have it. On? Yeah. On? Record player, but... Yep. I'm a Chinese democracy, dude. Get on it. Who even... cares about it now. No one wants that. I'm telling you, in 1997, people wanted Chinese democracy. They were like, can't wait for that album. In 2008, I don't know, people are clamoring for it. Yeah, so Appetite will be out on vinyl September 9th, and they say that they're going to be using the original and highly controversial cover art from the original album. I guess when they...
put the original album out, the cover art was so controversial, they had to change it. And they put the cover art on the inside flap and changed the whole front of it because it was too controversial. It's something about a robot assaulting a woman. I don't know. But anyways, they were going to use that as the front of the vinyl. 2008, it's so boring that no one cares. Going in the right direction, huh, Mike? Shawnee! Talk to him, Mike. Why does he do that? He just gave me the sign with his thumb like, get him out of here. You're done. That's it. Lindsay Lohan and her girlfriend got matching tattoos. Well, hold on a second. First person I looked at was Ashley. I wanted to know Ashley's reaction.
LA Police Chief, you can't be going around calling her girlfriend. I didn't say it. You said girlfriend. I know what you're implying. Skye is Ashley's girlfriend. Ashley is Skye's girlfriend. We're lesbians. Do you guys not say me and my girlfriends went? We know what you're implying. That's all I'm saying. They're girlfriends. Ashley said it. Being lesbians doesn't make us gay, Mike. I think she'll get an Academy Award for this picture. You're fine. Yeah, but they got these matching heart tattoos on their hands. On their hands? On their hands. That's stupid. Ashley, by the way, has a tattoo about a quarter of an inch from that location. Yes, that's true. Just so you know. I have a tattoo on my wrist. Just so you know. You're right, Mike. Can I clarify what I read? You're right. Stupidest place. About a quarter of an inch. He's smart. About a quarter of an inch. The jig is up. That's right. This is all really bad. You lose. You lose. Take you on. Any of you. Cut her off. Cut her off. Cut her off. Cut her off. I meant to put a tattoo that matches because what if something happens and they break up and then they're walking around and they both have the same tattoo on their hands. You said stupidest place. You knew what I meant.
She's the best. That was a good cover, though. You almost had it. You almost had it. So close. You were right there to have it. I almost spotted it. Lindsay Lohan has bangs. What an idiot. I like her bangs. The Olympic torch was taken along the Great Wall of China. That's where the Olympics are in China. And I... Ever since this Olympics... has been in China. I've kind of been fascinated by that wall. What? Great wall. See, boy, Rob. I'll tell you why. I'll accept that. When I first learned about the Great Wall of China, I was a kid. I was like, yeah, whatever, it's a wall. Now that I'm an adult and I can actually think about things and be like, holy Toledo, that took some work. From start to finish, I wonder how long that sucker took. You can see it from space. Have you seen those pyramids they built too, Mike? Sky, it's the only man-made object visible from space. That's impressive. You gotta admit. There's some cool stuff out there. A couple weekends. Why does she do this? A couple of weekends. Just pay Rob five bucks an hour. That's right. I go out there and do it. I call it my... She got all into it. Face-a-pedia it. What is it there for, by the way? Does anyone know?
It used to keep out like the Mongols. The Mongols. Yeah, the Mongols, Mike, of 1322. Natalie the Huns. Yes. Just keeps out the Mexicans. Yeah. I think McCain, that's his big idea. Yeah, that's his deal, right? The Great Wall of Texas. He built it. He built it. He wants to do the Great Wall of Texas. Keep you people out. That's right. So it was to keep out the Mongols. It did. It worked. I bet it took so long the Mongols died. Yep. Look it up. Somebody, you know, Micepedia. I'm on it right now. It's not saying how long it took to build. It's a long article, though, so I could probably find it. I want to know. How long is it? I can tell you how long it is. How long? It's 4,160 miles. Come on, guys. That's pretty rad. Well, yeah, but you're acting like this is brand new. I didn't know. Breaking news, everybody. I've heard about this before. I just posted on CNN. Come on. Like I said, we don't really think about it when we're kids. It's not that impressive. It's not that impressive when we're kids. We're like, whatever. It's a wall. It's a wall. Whatever. Now, 4,000 miles.
Dude, that is farther from here to New York. Again, you are cute. They paint that. You're adorable. You are a sweet little man, and I care about you. It's taken about roughly a thousand years to get it from start to finish, rebuilt, and built back up and maintained. So that's the closest thing on the site. That's awesome. Dude. That's further from here. That should be like one of the wonders of the world. Dude, come on. That's unbelievable. Well, yeah. How tall is that sucker? I don't know very much about it. I just, I think it's really cool. It's cool. Can you walk on it like a normal person? Yes. Normal person? There's a lot to just get on that thing and walk? Yeah, you can't be any taller than... Maybe like 5'2". Because the openings are so small on the wall, it's real hard to get through. We should send Rob there and have him walk on it. Oh, I'd love it. That'd be so sick. It's gorgeous, Mike. You got to see the pictures. Send me IM. Oh, please. What I want to know, if that thing's 4,000 miles long, and you walk, I don't know, five miles of it? Yeah.
How do you get, do you have to turn around and walk back? Do they have a bunch of exits? Yeah, like where do you go when you go to the escalator down? Do they have restrooms? Do they have restrooms on the Great Wall? Great question. That's a legitimate question. You can't just, you know. Yeah, over the top. No, you cannot. Sure you can. Oh, absolutely. No, you can't. Oh, come on. That's a good story. You know that you get so in trouble. Yeah, definitely. You get so in trouble for doing that. Yes. Let me take a picture. Let me take a look at the picture. It says it's between 15 and 25 feet tall. Like in areas depending on where it is. Dude, that's rad. How did it get off, Seth? I don't know. I'm looking. That is so impressive. We've really learned a lot today. Sky, you didn't think about it. When I said it, you were like, wow, that is pretty cool. You're saying that she's never thought about the gray wall since she was a kid? Not since she was a kid. She hasn't. Because you have it doesn't mean we haven't. Have you, Eddie? Yes, I want specials on it. Did you think it was impressive? I do. Dude, look at this, Eddie. I know, Mike. It's a big old wall, bro. I've seen it. That thing goes away from you to yours. It's crazy. That's why it's called The Great Wall, Mike. They built that thing, dude. I know. You're so cute. Oh, that's the worst. When she calls you that. But he is. He is. It's like a little child. Have you seen Fenway Pack?
Thank you. Just as impressive. Talk about that. Okay, here's my question about Great Wall. Oh, Mike, no. If you were on it, Eddie, what's enough sightseeing? Okay, did it. How far would you walk? That's a good question. It depends. Do I got to turn around and walk back? Because if that's the case, I'm walking maybe a mile. Oh, not me. That's two miles you're walking. You know how long that takes? I'm not walking that far. You're not walking that far? Well, what's the point of going to the Great Wall then? Well, you do it in sections. It's not like you go to the beginning and you're like, all right, you guys, everybody ready? Let's go. Like, I would imagine that you're visiting different sections. But how do you get up? We have, I don't know. Exactly, that's my question. I don't understand. That's a good question. I don't understand. Hold on, hold on. Let's really break this down. They have to have something. It's not like the olden days. I agree with you, but I just don't know how it works. And it's a great question. How do you get on and off that sucker? Ropes. You repel down the side of it. You think that all the visitors to the Great Wall of China get on it by ropes. Hey, that's just what I read. Really? All right, I think I got it. What? There's about 101 sections of the wall.
So at each section, there's like a little kind of watchtower pillar type thing. Yeah. And you can get down from the inside. You can kind of go out and there's a door at the bottom. That is just. But then how do you get to that section? You take a car? I don't know about that. See, there's a lot of questions. Dude, very good questions. Very good. I am down with every question. Is there a tram? Ski lift. See, I would like to do the wall sitting down. I wish that there was like... The guy who wants to run with the bulls wants to do the great wall sitting down. Two different things. Exhilaration versus visit. So you want to sit on the great wall? Uh-uh. I want the wall to be a ride. I want the wall to be a ride. I'm sitting and I'm like enjoying it. I'm like, look, honey, look. I got it. I got it. You know those things in the airport at Denver that move you while you're just standing? That's what I want. Or a Segway. You can run a Segway. There you go. I'm going to move to China and start a business. It would be so annoying to go to the Great Wall with Ashley because she would want to walk it, dude. I'd love it. I'd love it. I'd be like, Ash, please, let's not. Let's go to McDonald's. Let's go to Chinese McDonald's. She would want to do that because she's hungry. Mommy would be wanting some McMontons. Right now, there's a lot of people upset that that's probably not Chinese. Really? Or is it? Or is it?
Chinese food? I mean, it's upset anybody with my racist comment. Did you ever hear of the pyramids? That's so mean. She's so mean to me. No, she's not. You're fine. It's pretty amazing, those pyramids. How'd they build them? Sky. I see it, bro. Dude, we still don't know what Stonehenge is. That's true. Who doesn't? People? Yeah. People don't know what Stone... Ash, do you know what Stonehenge is? No, not like that. Like why it was... How it was formed. And what for? Again, CNN breaking news. Stonehenge is a thing. I am still amazed at the thought of the pyramids. And how did they get those rocks up there? They did it so long ago. I don't know about police. I know that that's what they say, but I don't think they were that smart. How would they get them? Good question. How did they build those things? Listen, King Herod's palace. The slabs of rock that they have are 14 feet deep by like 13 feet wide. Explain that. Thousands and thousands of men. That's what they say. And elephants. Haven't you ever seen 10,000 feet? Okay, so how'd they get the rope underneath it? Pull it. How'd they get the rope underneath a 14?
Oh, really? Two plus two equals they did it. You dig a little hole in the dirt and then you put the rope through it and then there you go. That's smart, dude. It's under there. This guy was there. He was there, obviously. I am sorry. I'm impressed by the Great Wall. I think it's cool. Well, it is. Who isn't? I haven't thought about it. I haven't thought about it since I was nine. You should think about things more often. Good point. You have a really good point. We've been to space, bro. I mean, it's crazy. Hey, hey, that's the next month forum. I know. Another day for another day. My brother Mark is so smart, man. We were talking about the 9-1-1 conspiracy stuff, man. He hasn't thought about it in seven years. He always calls it 9-1-1. You're having a Morgan Freeman week, bro. She just will not leave you alone. It's not 9-1-1. Okay, fine.
The number you call for an emergency. 9-11. Or a subway incident. Or no sauce on your subway sandwich. That's what it's for. Yes. We were talking about the whole conspiracy theorists. And he just, he's so, he's just got some good, you know what I'm saying? The chaotic world, people need to make sense of stuff. That's what those wacky people are about. But what about the shape charges that go off before the planes hit the buildings? Mikey, you really do need to watch this video because if you watch this video... Have you ever heard of loose change? You gotta see loose change, man. It'll change your opinion of everything. You'll change your world. Charlie Sheen. Great Wall. That was unnecessary. What? I thought we were just... It didn't have anything to do with this. I'm sorry. The Great Wall does have nothing to do with 9-1-1. And you just said 9-1-1.
You're the worst guy. I'm working on it. You're not. That's true. I'm really not. The cackle, Mike. The cackle hurts, man. It's bad enough, but she throws that cackle in there. It's brutal. Makes it 50 times worse. I can't handle you anymore. Can I go home? Eddie, what's the Chargers' new stricter code of conduct for this season? Well, you know, here's the deal. NFL as a whole is sending out these memos about they want their fans to have a conduct for fans, you know, a code of conduct for fans in general. And then the Chargers took that and put in their own code of conduct, which, you know, Jim Stieg, you know, he's the, I forget what exactly he is. Vice president of operations. Vice president of something.
He's been real big on this, you know, about having, you know, you get your tickets taken away if you act like a jackass or if the person that bought the tickets from you acts like a jackass. He's clearing the place up. He really is. And so some of the new policies for the upcoming season are fans are going to be limited to two drinks per purchase until the start of the third quarter. After that, only one drink limit. Per transaction goes into effect. What do you think of that? And no alcohol sold in the fourth quarter. Okay, I use Eddie kind of as a barometer. Okay. And the reason that I do is because he's like my kind of measuring stick of normal drinking. Eddie drinks appropriately. Unless we're in Denver. Unless it's wine and in Denver. High altitude. He was exhausted. Yeah, it was tough. I think that that's fine. I mean, there's no reason that you need to get sloshed at the game and ruin somebody's experience. So you don't think that's too few amount of beers? No. People will freak. What was it before? Could you go up and buy as many beers as you wanted? I think it was two beers was the limit. But they now, like Eddie said, it goes two beers for a certain part and then one beer and then no beer at all. That's perfect. Yeah, that's fine. And then alcohol sales. You're saying it's perfect? Wow. Yeah, it must be perfect.
If he thinks it's all right, it must be all right. Unless it's the Patsky. Yeah. Unless it Patsky playing and then one case before the second quarter. Yeah, because at events like at Fenway, you know, they'll cut it off in the seventh or right after the seventh going into the eighth. So, I mean, there's... Two beers, bro. Two beers before the third quarter. That doesn't seem like a lot of beers to me, but... You got two hands. Like, you can only grab two. Oh, I know, Rob, but after you've had your second beer, you can't go get more beer. You can only have two until the third quarter. That's it for you. I'm trying to imagine Rob going two beers is fine. I don't think that's it, dude. No, it's two per purchase. Oh, you can only buy two every time you buy it? Two drinks per purchase. What are people doing? Hopping along with a beer on their foot? Dude, I was selling beer at the U.S. Open and you wouldn't believe because it was the same kind of thing. Two beers per... purchase, and people were yelling at me. They wanted four beers. They claimed their friends right over there. I didn't get it. I thought that they meant that you could only buy two beers before, and then I just thought about it. I'm like, hey, Mike, how would they monitor that? Because at Fenway, we would get the two beers, you turn around, you pound both of them, and you get right back in line, so you get two more and go to your seats. Here's another thing they're doing. They're having alcohol management teams who are going to monitor fans inside the stadium and kick people out.
who they deem are drunk. Good for them. But they're going to have problems with that because there's going to be people that say, Listen, let me say something. When the Raiders come to town, please. Let me throw it out there. You guys that like to drink a lot at Charger games. Man, just imagine those dudes that are taking their little kids. Have a heart, bro. Have a heart. I know they don't care, but I'm trying to get you to. Have a heart, please. Just have a heart for the guy and his little kid. Here's a cool thing. Fans are going to be able to use cell phones, text security officers for assistance during the game if they have any problems. What a great idea. Problems with anything like a sub or any food there? You call 911 for that. You're done. There's no mail on your subway. That's a really great idea. They've got some good stuff coming up. Hopefully everybody will be cool and have fun at the game and stop. Being like Rob. Alright, we're good to go. I'm taking that. Great show today, you guys. Today was fun. Tomorrow on the show, LaDainian Tomlinson and Chris Cornell. Shut up! Seriously, that's who we have on the show tomorrow. LaDainian Tomlinson and Chris Cornell. Great show. 570-1053. Join us, won't you? Yeah.
5701053. You'd have a moratorium on Sky using the word cute. I know. Dude, she's been doing that lately and it's infuriating. It is. You know how I am, though. It's so demeaning. I love it. I get stuck on a word. I'll use it for a couple of years. Lay it out. Then we'll move on to something else. It's emasculating. It's so emasculating. It's awful. I hate it. It's the worst. It's awful. It's a compliment. It's not. She might as well be saying, she might as well be saying, you are the stupidest person ever. Not even a person. Oh, you're so faggy. Yes. It's what it's like. Seriously. It feels like that. Oh, I'm sorry. You're both so masculine and rugged. I appreciate that. That's really sweet of you. Wow. 570-1053. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phones so you can call about anything you want. And we'll take your call. So call us. 570-1053. Mikey Show. Hey, what's up, B-Rob? It's Mikey. Oh, Mikey. Sorry, sorry, sorry. My bad. This is P1 Hot Carl. What's up? Another exciting day. I just want to call this morning. I was at the Chevron and there was two people listening to the show right next to me at the gas pump. And this guy turns to me and he said, well, at least we got the Mikey show in San Diego. Oh, wow. He just said that out of the blue? Well, because everybody was listening to it and we'd all kind of turned it up in our cars. That's really cool. That's really cool, man. I wish everybody was doing that. It'd be really cool.
Yeah, me too, man. So, hey, you guys have done a great job, and I'm going to the wall of China next week. Nice. Take pictures and send them to us. Get me a shirt that says... Yeah. What does it say? I sat on the great wall. And all I got was a stupid T-shirt. Thank you, dude. Yes. Can I do an impression of Eddie real quick? Sure. Is it John C. Reilly? No, no. It goes on something like this. Really, Mikey? Are you sure? Wow, Eddie, that is what this guy's impression of you is. It's what I'm known for. It's a catchphrase that I use all the time. It's on t-shirts, actually. How many of us have been to Anthony's Seafood Grotto? Me. Eddie? I don't know. Where is it? Down on the Habba? Yeah, the Habba. Up the Wharf. The Wharf? The Habba Drive. Oh, like Seaport Village? Before there. In between there and the airport. You know where all those ships are? Kind of by the airport? In between. In between. Between Sea Port Village. Oh, I've driven past it, Mike. No, they have those big boats. Yeah, I've driven past it. You wouldn't go there because of seafood. No, I wouldn't. Really, Mike? Are you sure? Good one, Eddie. Good one. Good one. That's what Eddie says. What's your thoughts on it? I think it's a great place for tourists.
My brother loves it, and he has to go there. He has to go there. Take him to sea level or island prime, please. I took him to ocean air. Well, there you go. I mean, that's really good, but it's not on the water. Why is he being difficult? Because he wants that. He wants his fried fish like he wants his fried fish. I'll go down a couple feet and go to the fish market. He won't do it. Or Azul's. That's on the water. Relax, relax. Well, it's delicious, Eddie. Relax, I know it is. Head to the outback. Okay. Just saying. Dude. That's right. It's the finest seafood in town. I got an email from a P1 today asking me what they should order. They're going to go for the first time. I get that email often. You ever get that Bloomin' Onion? Yes, I have, Mike. She's had everything, Mike. It's not their specialty, but yes, it's good. The Bloomin' Onion kind of is their specialty. She doesn't know anything about Outback. Some sort of shenanigans like that. Well, now I don't believe in you anymore. Oh, shush. P1 John? Really, Sky? Are you sure? Edgy. Go ahead, John. Can I be down there broadcasting Saturday at the game? Listen. Oh, boy. I work for a very small company. Yeah? Clear Channel Communications. I don't know if you've ever heard of it. Yeah, they don't make a lot of money. And they don't like to put us out there at preseason.
They think it's not important. And it's really a disappointment for me. That doesn't make a lot of sense. Mike, I mean, come on. Please, Mike. Who are you talking to? Well, you would think that that would be the time that you would want to fire everybody up and like, football's back. That would make sense. Come on. So you're not. We'll be broadcasting from the studio, but it's going to be a full day of broadcasting on Saturday. starting at 2 o'clock with the fantasy football show, which I'm on the second hour of that show, and then the pregame show for three full hours with the crews coming back, Jim Lazovic. What about Steve Quiz? Myself, Steve Quiz will be on after the game hosting the postgame show. There you go. Let's see. Right here on Rock 105.3. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Yo, yeah, I want to say something about the Great Wall of China. There's some pretty cool facts that you guys touched on. It actually started as a contest to see who could build the biggest wall. It was just like a thing. Like a radio contest or something? It's more of a reality show. Yeah, between a radio contest. PLJ in New York was like, hey, who can build the biggest wall? All right, Rob, I got an idea we can do. All right. Start with my backyard. Let's go. All right, brother. Call us tomorrow with more facts because we have to go. All right, brother. Thank you. Lovely and talented Missy is up next. Boston Fowl. We'll be back.
tomorrow. We'll be back tomorrow and LaDainian Tomlinson and Chris Cornell will be on the show tomorrow. Mikey Show's out.
