The show opened with Mikey, Eddie, and Sky discussing the brutal allegations against actor Shelly Malil, then shifted into comic personal stories such as Sean dismantling drapes because of germs and watching Columbo with a stranger. Eddie and Sky argued that full meals do not belong in theaters, while Mikey defended bringing outside food; later, the crew debated whether repeatedly lending family money is generous help or harmful enabling. Boston Rob's Gas Monkey stopped a listener for a $25 gas card, and the hosts also sparred over Bigfoot versus the Loch Ness Monster and Sky's defense of transgender model Isis. They closed out several entertainment arguments by mocking Red Hot Chili Peppers concerts and praising Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder despite controversy over the film's language.
What happened, in order
Shelly Malil stabbing case
The hosts recounted allegations that actor Shelly Malil repeatedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend, was disarmed twice, and received $10 million bail as a flight risk.
Seanatizing the guest room
Sean explained that his germ anxiety led him to remove and carefully roll up Mikey's bedroom drapes when he could not vacuum them during the night.
Bird-poop facials
The crew reacted to a $180 spa facial made with sterilized nightingale droppings, and Sky and Ashley both said they would try it for free.
Dinner at the movies
Eddie and Sky argued that noisy or fragrant outside meals ruin movies, while Mikey defended patrons who bring food such as burgers, chicken dinners, and sandwiches.
Tough Love with Eddie
Eddie delivered deliberately harsh comic advice to listeners about Olympic patriotism, weight loss, and teenage friendship drama.
Columbo seatmate
Sean happily shared his headphone splitter with a stranger on a flight so they could watch the Columbo episode "Now You See Him" together.
Loaning family money
A caller objected to her husband repeatedly lending their shared money to his 23-year-old brother, especially when he wanted $1,000 to pay DUI-related costs.
Chili Peppers boredom
Mikey described Red Hot Chili Peppers music as the soundtrack to being trapped at a hot, smoky concert long after he wanted to leave.
Gas Monkey patrol
Boston Rob roamed Escondido in a monkey costume, stopped a listener's work truck, and had him pull a banana that awarded a $25 gas card.
Bigfoot versus Nessie
The crew debated whether Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster was more plausible, testing hoax photos, eyewitness claims, and reports of a supposed Bigfoot body.
Isis on Top Model
Sky defended transgender contestant Isis appearing on America's Next Top Model while the others challenged and mocked her argument about who should be allowed to model.
Tropic Thunder debate
Sky, Eddie, and Ashley praised Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder while arguing that the movie's offensive language was part of its deliberately tasteless satire.

It's 6-0-5. Actor Shelly Malil pled not guilty yesterday to allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend more than 20 times at her San Marcos home. The Padres continue to stink up the joint. Cece Sabathia won his 10th straight as the Brewers beat him last night 7-1. Just like text messages at 35253 and you can call us at 570-1053. Love to hear from you. Got a big day with a gas monkey going out. Got some really cool topics all set up for you. It's going to be a fun day. Your phone calls, 570-1053. That's how we start the show every day where we just let you call in. Random topic of your choosing. You can call about anything. You can ask a question. You can make a comment. You can respond to something that you heard. Anything you want. It's up to you. It's already Thursday. Wow. I know. That seemed to happen fast. Already Thursday.
A lot of stuff happening in the news that we got to get to. We got some pretty killer audio for you today, too. The biggest story out there is what Sky was just talking about. The actor from 40-Year-Old Virgin, the guy that played the Indian dude that was Seth Rogen's boss, right? No, no. He wasn't a boss. Co-worker. Yeah, a co-worker. Yeah, exactly. At the electronics store. Listen. I've only seen it once, so I didn't remember him that good. But Sky was saying he's been in a few movies. Yeah, and lots of TV shows. He's kind of known as a character actor who plays the Indian guy. He also was one of the what's up guys from the Budweiser commercials. Well, this guy tried to murder his ex-girlfriend. Happened in San Alejo Hills.
And this was the prosecutor. Well, by the way, his bail has been raised to 10 mil. They consider him a flight risk. And so this is Stephen Carver. He's the prosecutor explaining why that bail is set so high. And it sounds like it's kind of based on just how it all went down. Cut 18. There was a prolonged attack. that went throughout the bottom floor of the house. There's blood on the outside patio, a lot of it. The blood goes throughout the house and through the kitchen towards the front door. The attack began on the back patio and ended on the front. So you could see it was just brutal. So they're like, hey, we're not taking any chances. Yeah, plus he has strong ties to India. You know, knows people there, has family there. So that's another reason they consider him a flight risk. Mm-hmm.
And then something else we found out yesterday, he was actually disarmed twice during the stabbing rampage. Yeah, one, because him and his gal had just broken up and he went over to her house and found her out on the back patio with another dude and started stabbing her. And then that dude disarmed him. He went in the house, got another knife, started stabbing her again. And that's when the neighbor heard and the neighbor came over and finally disarmed him again. And that's when he took off. I wonder a guy that disarmed him the first time. You know, what happened? Yeah, I know he did get stabbed in the hand, but I don't know why he didn't try and disarm him a second time. Or just get both of them and let's get out of here. I'd run down the street. I wouldn't care how goofy I looked. Oh, please, seriously. I'd put my hands up in the air and flail them. Trust me. Scream like A.O. That's right.
570-1053 is the number. Call us about anything you want, and we'll introduce everybody really quickly. There's seven of us on the show, so it's hard to get to know all the different voices if you're new listening to the show. If you're a longtime listener, it's like second nature. It's like getting to know your friends. You know their voice. But for people that are just kind of getting into the show and you haven't listened for very long, it can be hard. There's seven of us. It'd be a lot easier if we were on TV. But there's seven. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38 years old. Don't have a lot of new stuff to report to you. I took Jake to the potty yesterday. He wanted me to take him to the potty. And so I took him to the potty, sat him down, nothing happened. He didn't make any business. So we decided to get off. I'm enjoying these experiences, oddly enough. I know that sounds so weird to enjoy your son having to go doo-doo. But, you know, I actually do. Ate a tomato yesterday from my garden. Sean did, too. Sean really liked the tomatoes. Oh, my gosh, Mike. Oh, which reminds me. I forgot to bring. I was supposed to bring some because we're going to see Mike Rasneasy after the show today. In fact, Sky, I think he's going to be talking to you specific. And he's bringing down a bunch of garden stuff. Oh.
Cool. And I said, yeah, I'll trade you. And I didn't bring anything. Why? Why? Zappo. Let me tell you, man. Total Zappo. Hey, Skye is so good at that. Like, I don't know how you do it, man. Skye can remember anything. Like, you can say to Skye, Skye, two years and two months from now, will you remind me that I have to say the letter the, or the letter A? And she'll be like, all right. Two years, eight months from now, she's like, oh, don't forget. Got to say the letter A. It's weird because I'm good with writing notes and putting things on my calendar and doing reminders. But if you ask me about like Eddie the other day, we were talking about going to Donovan's restaurant. I'm like, oh, no, I've never been. You know, sounds great. I've never been. He's like, no, we actually all went together and you were there. Kelly Kibler was there, right? That was when we first got here. I don't know if Sky was at that one. Yeah, she was. It was the whole show. Like I know. Oh, no, no, no. Wait. I don't think she was because Kibler wanted to do like an old Dallas reunion or something. Yeah, we went again with Bob Bollinger. All right, so let's go around and introduce. I guess that's something you can know about me. I am 38 and really like to garden.
I don't know what I'm going to do in the wintertime. Well, this is SoCal. You can grow some winter crops. Yeah. Yeah, he'll be fine. Yeah. Eddie is our producer. He is our sports guy. He is 35 years of age. He just threw the peace sign. Duh. And his favorite band of all time is a little band called Pearl Jam. Yeah. Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam. They jam the pearls. That's right. Skye's our news girl, and she can't be with us today, so Savannah will be filling in. Make all the Skye jokes you want today. That's right. No, that's not what we're... That's what you just said. No, that's not what I said, Rob. I just said the curly hair will be back tomorrow. Savannah is Skye's alter ego because Savannah has straight hair while Skye has naturally curly hair. Such a trip yesterday.
you know, I was in the sports pit and I was talking to a gal in there. What is that? The sports pit? Where the sports station people have their office. Oh, okay. And so I was in there and I was talking to a chick and then, you know, one of the guys was just typing and so he hears my voice. Oh, this guy's in the room. Type, type, type. He turns around and looks at me and he like screams like ale. No, no. He was like so confused. That's funny. The hair really throws people off. It's different. Yeah. Uh, Shawnee, oh boy, is our sound effects guy and sad face. He's back in San Francisco. Well, I like it better when you're here with us. I mean, it just is so great to have you in the studio. I know it's tough for you being a germaphobe, but man, it's fun. It was fun. So, uh, Shawnee's our sound effects guy. We look at him on, we'll see about this. Yes, we will. Uh, Ashley, 25 years of age, blonde girl, quite. Pretty. On the Dean's List at San Diego State University. No. True story. Well, she's definitely not anymore. Yeah, she was at one point. She doesn't go there anymore. You can't be on it if you don't go there anymore. I know what you're doing, Mike. What are you doing? What is going on? Is her mic not? Hello? There you are. There she is. There you go.
Dean's List. That's right. Wow. Wait till you see Ashley on the new billboard. Beautiful. Gorgeous. That's all we'll say. That's all we'll say. That's all we'll say. Yeah. I'll take it. Thank you. Boston Rob. Yeah. 25 years of age. And he's apparently going to let the hair grow. He's going to let the hair grow again. Looks a little long. No way, Jose. It's been getting longer, but I don't know how long this will last. You don't? I just don't want to shave it to the point where it's, you know, like yours, like just right to the skin. Mm-hmm. Like Seth. Yeah, yeah. It gets too Velcro-y. When I put on shirts, my shirts, like, get stuck to me. Velcro-y. Yeah. You never heard that? Well said. Well said. Well said, we have back east. Okay. Rob is a songwriter. He does parody songs for us. He's also the gas monkey.
Oh, Simeon. That's right. What? He's a stunt guy. He does a lot of things for the Mikey Show. And the seventh member of the Mikey Show. Oh, look at him. Is Roosevelt Zethian Oates III Jr. Esquire MD. That's right. And he is 23 years of age. And he screens phone calls. And... You know, he makes fun of people and he is our friend. And he would like to fight, you know, like mixed martial arts. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very sensitive. I'm worried about him. I am too. I think I'd be good at it, honestly. I'm not fighting you. You might be, but you're, you know, a sensitive person. How much do you weigh? 215. Cut weight? Yeah. Oh, yeah. You'd have to.
How much would he have to weigh? He'd be a 205-er. He'd have to lose 10 pounds. That's easy. Yeah. That's water weight. That's water weight. 10 pounds. He'd have to put on muscle? Probably. Well, yeah. He'd have to have muscle in the fight. Yeah. You think he could do that? He'd have to train, and then he would lose weight, and he'd gain muscle. Yeah. Rob, you worried about Seth? Absolutely, Mike. Why? Why? Don't be a jerk. Hey, I know. We're friends, Rob. You're my boy. And with all due respect. It's bad. Whatever it is, it's bad. Best starter ever. I'm going to screen the phones. I just, I think, you know, it might be tough. Because I know that the guy likes to nap. What a great way to put it. So does Eddie. What a great. I didn't even, dude, I didn't even think of that part. And like, there's. Contrary to popular belief, there's a big difference. Like napping and fighting. There's a difference between the two. There are a lot of similarities. But you don't get better when you nap? I tried that. You tried the nap training? Yeah, the past three or four weeks I've been trying the nap training. Well, I'm getting fatter. I've been losing muscle. Now when I go on a walk, I'm tired.
Rob kind of has a point. You do enjoy a good nap. I do. You do enjoy kind of resting quite a bit. You do enjoy that. Mike's a foodie. You're a nappy. Watches TV shows about napping. Guys into napping. Is it normal to take 18-hour naps? I don't think so. I don't think so either. That is some intense training. You know, Rob has a point. A lot of times these mixed martial artists are sort of intense guys. Extremely intense. The training is just rigorous and nonstop. And Zeth, he's not so much intense, you know? He's more not intense. Zeth, wouldn't you agree with that? That you're sort of not intense? I agree. I don't know why they're attacking you, Zeth. I think you'd be great. How is that attacking? Thank you, Ashley. You're a friend. How dare she? I think you've got the height. I think you've got, you know, the potential is what you want it to be, Zeth. Rob just looked at me and mouthed the word height.
He is tall, but I mean, is that really the deal, you know? That's a great advantage. Absolutely. I think she just wants him to get hit. She's laughing. She's laughing. She's laughing at that. That's so funny. I just want to try. If I suck, I suck. I won't do it anymore. Didn't that happen with Boy Blunder once? No, that's not. That's true. That's a different thing. I think Eddie could arrange that. I don't want to discourage. Yeah. I don't want to. We could get on that. I want to discourage. Jerks. P1 Anthony. Hey, how you doing, guys? Good, man. What's up? Hey, long time listener since you guys were in Texas and wanted to know if you guys are ever going to do a night show like the DSC because my work schedule changed. I know that what DSC do, the Dave Shelley and Chainsaw show, is they're on in the morning and then they re-air their show at nighttime. Correct. Now, the deal is, is that the radio stations are pretty different.
They work at a classic rock radio station, and we work at what the radio industry calls an active rock radio station. So we play Metallica, and we play Stained, and we play... Mandatory Metallica. Yup. And at nighttime, the music actually gets more aggressive. Yeah, harder. Harder and a little edgier, and... You have to say harder again. What's that? You have to say harder again. Please. And so, because of that, one thing that we do know is that listeners at nighttime at active rock radio stations, they want less talky-talky and more rocky-rocky. That's our night slogan. That's old phrase. That's a scientific fact. Well said. They want less talk, more rock. I do like the show better today than I did back then, but there are certain skips I do miss. Yeah. Wait, did he just say the Howard Stern stuff I do miss? No, I hate Howard Stern. Oh, certain skits that you do miss. Yeah, no, no, I get it, but no. He's just a dirty guy. He's no good. Well, listen. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. The show is, the Mikey show, more successful now than it was before. I mean, it's not even a...
Yeah, tell them to shove it, Mike. Well, no, Skye, I'm not saying that. Oh, I thought that's what we were saying. All I'm saying is that the show is not even close how much more successful the show is now than the way it used to be. Yeah, and all those people should shove it. No, no. I thought that's the message. We are not saying that at all. I thought that's what we're trying to convey. The message is not that at all. At all. I must have misunderstood. Guess who's on the line? Who we got? Ladies and gentlemen. Sanjaya. Hey, what's up, guys? What's going on, Sanjaya? I had a legitimate question for Savannah. Go ahead. Legitimate question for Savannah. Go ahead. Just wondering if she loves him as well as Skye. Oh, my. Oh, really, Sanjaya? Wait a minute. That's a legitimate question? It's fair. Yeah. That's legitimate. Skye loves ham. Ham? Oh, yeah. And so we've made an ongoing inside joke on the show about... how much Sky loves ham. I don't think it's an inside joke anymore, Mike. I think it's pretty well known. It's an outside joke. Well, it's... Savannah. Sky made a comment one year, and I say one year because it was a while ago, about how at Thanksgiving the only thing she would eat is honey-baked ham. And it had to be.
Honey baked. Honey baked. Every other ham was for losers. I didn't say that. That's what she said. I never said that. Peasants. Yes, you did. Direct quote. So ever since then, been off to the races on this ham business. I like ham. Can you say? Ham it. Ham it up. Yeah, ham it up. All right, Senjai. All right. Savannah, how do you feel about ham? Come in, Savannah. It's food. Oh, so then she doesn't like it as much as Skye. Ah, an answer then. Can we not? On line one, it's P1, what's hampooning? Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. Bad start. I was just wondering if Mikey and Eddie have seen the new Chris Chambers fantasy football commercial. No, I haven't. Dude, somebody emailed me and just said, have you seen the new Chris Chambers commercial? Yeah. And I wrote them back, and I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about. And they said YouTube it, and I haven't YouTubed it yet.
But apparently it's really funny. Can you tell us about it, P1? What's hampooning? Well, you got to just watch it. But if you type in Chris Chambers' commercial on YouTube, you'll find it. It'll be the first link. All right, cool. All right. Thank you, man. I appreciate that he knows he's not going to do as good a job at explaining it than what we'll see. I appreciate that. Who's Chris Chambers? He is a wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers. Oh, Eddie. He's mad. Why should he be mad at me? It's a reported on story that Eddie reported on when it happened and it was a big deal. Wait, what happened and what was a big deal? Oh, this is rough. Oh, well, he was signed by the Chargers. Oh, so he's a new player to the Chargers. Yep, he got signed last season, last year. Oh, well, welcome to town, sir. We should just read some text. Let me get to these text messages that we're getting here. Betty is blinking slowly. The guy's been on the show, Mike. That's right. On who's show? On what show? Has he been to Donovan's? As text says. Oh, boy. It's not good. Mikey, my girl told me last night that she just realized that July and August have 31 days in them. She's 26 years old. Dot, dot, dot. Really? That's P1 GOAT.
I think there's actually an easy way to know this, the 3031. First of all, Mark, you don't have to disguise your name, buddy. Oh, I see. That's Ashley's boyfriend texting. Not really, though. Did you know? Sky actually taught me this. Sky, how does it go? I did not teach you this because I do not know. I thought it was you. I think they go back and forth. January's got 31. February doesn't. March has 31. How's that possible? July, August. April doesn't. Oh, that's a good point. Wait, we haven't got there yet. Ashley just faced your face. Oh, no. July. Oh. Does August have 31 days? You are so cute. I don't know. Can we look at the calendar? It does. July for sure does. I know about August. Somebody knows. I know October does. August does, definitely. It's a good call, Rob. Yeah, August has 31. Somebody knows. December does. I think it's 30 days past September, April, June, and November. What did you just say? What did you just say? Past September, there's 30 days. So October, November, December, 30 days. And then, so it's 30 days past September, April, June, and November each have 30. So October, April, June, and November have 30. Oh, wow, that confused me so bad. What is going on here?
rest of the month. 31 or February there's 28 or 29. That was just like I just heard words. 30 days of night in the month of Pride. 1842. Oh gosh. This is rough. Man. Daddy needs his Adderall. Mikey, does Sean really work in San Francisco because he is afraid of germs? That's P1 Ted Nugual. Yes. He does. Has a thing with a lot of people. He's always had a thing with a lot of people. And if you were in this room right now, you would see we got a lot of people in here. It's me and Eddie and Rob and Sky are all in this room. And if Sean were in here, he'd feel very closed in. Sounds like a crybaby. Now, Eddie. Eddie. That's our friend. I know. Sean just...
Sean just rolled his eyes in total defeat. The eye roll said, it's over. What do I... Forget it. Like, forget it. I can't... That's what it said. Yeah, I get it. Mikey, what special things do you have to do when Sean comes to town? Oh, man. Ask my wife. Ask my wife. She didn't have a lot of time this time. Uh-oh. Well, no, no, no. Uh-oh. Well, she usually shops for him and gets him grape juice and all that stuff. He is a crybaby. I didn't say anything about it. No, you didn't mention it. In Sean's room, we call it Sean's room. She goes through and she does this thing called Seanatizing it. And she didn't have a lot of time. She tried. She went in and she tried to do her best. Yeah, there were some things done. I'm sure there were probably a couple of areas that were missed.
She didn't vacuum the drapes this time? He vacuums the drapes. He does that. Well, he did one time, yeah. Do you do it every time? I didn't know that he did it every time. Did you do it this time? Because he did it in the middle of the night. Last time he did it, he was doing it in the middle of the night. I know. Last time, and I woke you guys up. So it was very difficult this time to not do that. So what I did was I took the bar. that the drapes are on. I took it off the hook and I put it on the floor. You know what? One of the drape things, when I went to wake him up, he was already in the shower, but that door didn't have a lock on it. So when I wake him up, I always give a couple knocks and then I open the door and he's usually got on his Darth Vader breathing nighttime sleep mask that helps him to not snore. And I'm usually waking him up, but this time he woke up early. So when I opened that door, I heard the shower on, he was in the shower. There was a drape, a gigantic drape.
On the bed. Like on the comforter. You know how drapes have two sides? One of them was on the bed. Like, Sean, what was that? I was in the process of putting everything back. And I realized what time it was. And so I wanted to run and jump in the shower real fast. And so I was like right in the middle of doing everything. I love them. But I don't understand, Sean. What did you take the drapes down for? I took the drapes down so that, you know, anything that was on them wouldn't be circulating in the air. God, come on. I wasn't able to vacuum them. You guys went to bed very early. And plus, Jake was already asleep. So I was like, well, what am I going to do? So I just took them down. And I put them in the bathroom. I closed the door. And then this morning when I got up, I took them out. I laid them out to make sure that they weren't like wrinkly or anything. And then I was in the process of putting it. I had one up and then one half up. And then I realized that it was like past time to get in the shower. How phenomenal is that?
But let's say there were germs or particles on your curtains. You're about to try to make sense of something, Skye. You know that you're not going to. But wouldn't taking them down and moving them around and disturbing them make the stuff airborne more than just leaving it in its place? She's using logic. She's being logical. If you went up to the curtains and you just pulled them off. and let them wave in the air. See, what I did was I take them down very slowly, put them to the ground, roll them around the curtain rod, and then take the whole thing and put it in the bathroom. It's very simple. It's very simple. It's very, very simple. It's very simple, and it doesn't get all that dust and mites and stuff in the air. Stuff that you would ordinarily breathe. P1 Praetorian, are you there? I am here. Good morning, Mike. Go ahead. I went to rave the DMV lines yesterday and picked up my license plate. They say Sky loves ham. They do not. They do not. How do they say it? How do they say it? Sky heart ham. No way. No way. I do believe him that we got to P1 Jason has a license plate that says P1 Jason. When I get to work, I'll send you the photo. Oh, please. Please let this be true.
You have to pay extra money to get these personalized plates. I would. She's just phenomenal. She's just upset. Right now in her mind, she's like, that means I don't get it. Great. Another one taken. Dude, please take a photograph of that and get it to us immediately. I'm a big fan of him. 20 minutes. 20 minutes? Yes. You got it. He's going to get so much attention. Just realize that I'm driving around San Diego with Sky Loves Ham on my car. What part of town are you in? What's that? What part of town do you work and reside in? I am in Point Loma right now. Okay, good. But I can make a round, you know. You stay out of North County, bro. We want to see that in North County. Listen, Sky lives in North County, and there's already a guy with a truck. Stupid red truck. Sky, what does a guy with a red truck do? What is the guy with the red truck? Well, you know how a pickup truck has that one big window in the back? Yep. On the window, he writes in big old letters, sky is a beating. And drives all around town for half years now. I go to Restaurant Row for dinner. Oh, parked right there. I've seen it, too. That guy's great. Now, P1 Praetorian, you realize you're going to have so many people talking to you about this. Like, it's going to be endless.
Yes, and I think that's a good way to maybe get people to listen to the Mikey Show. Oh, dude, it's a great way. I love it. Oh, my God. It's a great way. You are a true one. Can I take a picture with it? What's that? Can I take a picture with it? You may. Nice. You've got to all take a picture with it. No, we don't. One year, this is what I think. Everybody should do a Mikey Show referenced plate, and one year, our billboard should be just a, what do they call it, a collage of pictures. photographs of different Mikey Show reference license plates. And it won't say anything. It'll just be a photograph of that. Well, you know this is going to be a new thing now. The key ones are going to be like, well, what could I put on a license plate that would remind me of the show? That is... That's right. That's so great, dude. Send us a picture immediately, alright? Alright, thanks. Text us at 35253. That's a P1. That filled my heart with glee. I will be happy thinking about that throughout the rest of the day. No, it's funny. I have the opposite feeling. Oh. Gas Monkey is going to be out today. I'll tell you what time you can get your free gas. Awesome. Coming up. We're going to do something on the show called Tough Love with Eddie. This is your day, Scott.
What shall I give you? When we come back, I'm going to play you the audio of this Fox News story about a new trend, bird poop facials. It's a new trend. Everybody Wang Chung tonight. All right, that's next. There's never like a stripper convention in my hotel, you know? Every time I check in, the marquee reads something like, welcome osteoporosis sufferers, you know? I'm trying to sleep at night, but I can't because I'm listening to people's hips snap in the parking lot. It's a little icy. I was at a Hyatt. They had one of those glass hotels. I watched like 50 people in their late 90s go shooting up in that thing. I'm like, I don't remember a button that said heaven. Earn most people's causes. I have this thing. I see Jennifer Lopez. I think, oh, don't go in the bathroom when she's coming out. I don't know what it is. You know, the whole thing that I have. But I am very uncomfortable being a classmate. Sky. Yeah, I do not like to answer the phone and I do not like to talk on the phone. Honestly, legitimately believe William Shatner is a really good actor. I don't lose in everything. And Ashley. Combined with my ADD and the fact that I'm just like a social butterfly, I'm all over the place. The Mikey Show's on. Dude, you took a second. You thought about it. Uh-huh. Rock 105.3. Oh, that is from the first couple of notes. It's Mikey Show. It's 643. Kid Rock says hell no when asked about performing with Britney at the MTV VMAs. Oh, this is not good. The Olympic medal count. China has taken the lead. At 32. The U.S. has 31. I'm not buying it, man. What are you not buying?
I think it's rigged. I think they rig it. Like how? Like exactly what Eddie said the other day. Anything that involves judging. Yeah, they won the synchronized springboard diving. I saw that last night. I mean, they killed it. I mean, if you watched it. Chinese slip off the diving board and get a 10. The U.S. had some funky looking dives. And China was on point. Well, China has 20 golds. And in second place, the U.S. only has 10. Yeah. Again, this will all change once track and field starts. All right. Dude, so are the track and field guys for the U.S., like, you know me, I don't know anything. Yeah, the U.S., you know, generally will dominate in track and field. And, you know, right now it's swimming and diving. And those are things that the Chinese are real good at. Yeah. Gymnastics. All right. They're real bendy. The Chinese people in general are bendy. That sounds like a stereotype. How is that a stereotype? Have you ever heard that before? Well, I'm just saying, you can't make a generalization like that. I watched the Olympics. I know what's up. But that doesn't represent all Chinese people. Those are just Chinese gymnasts. Never mind. This text message says, OMG! 30 days past September. Zeth!
So Halloween is on October 30th. The DCC should include Zeth from now on. Now, this is what I remember. This is what I remember. Okay. Kimbra just wrote an email. It says. Kimbra. Kimbra. The easiest way to count months is like this. Now, this is what I remember hearing. And for whatever reason, I thought that it was Sky that taught me this. She usually has those weird little things. Yeah. Okay. So this is what I heard and it does work. Okay. You start with your left hand and you make a fist and count your knuckles. So your index finger knuckle is January. The valley between the index and the middle finger is February and so on. Once the hand is done and you would finish on the pinky knuckle in July, move to the right hand and the index finger knuckle is August and so on, finishing with December. That works. Knuckle on your right. Love it.
Ring finger, that's how you... So, July and August both have 31 days. Perfect. It's amazing. It is amazing. Kimbra is amazing. She's a genius. She's a genius. If we're being honest. She's a genius. The next president of the United States. That's right. President Kimbra. Zeth's play made more sense to me than, I'm sorry, Kimbra's did. Yeah, but Zeth's didn't even... Zeth's was wrong. It made sense to me. Not only did it not make sense... Okay, great, but it don't work. Yeah, I said it wrong. It sounded right to me. Okay, well, then use it. It don't work. 30 days past September, and then after that, you skip it, and then it's April, June, and November. That is so much easier than Knuckles, you guys. So it's October, April, June, and November. She is something else. You're a genius. Thanks. We're friends today. You should be a fighter. It's like Harry and Lloyd over here. MMA. That is the truth. Yeah. That is the truth. They landed on the moon. Yeah, we did. I will happily accept that. Seth can't remember to put Soto's pops in the refrigerator. He can't remember anything, Mike. I gotta give him something new. I gotta give him something new. I gotta give him something new. Because he doesn't remember to put them in there. And I begged him last time. You begged him? Yeah, I begged him. Yesterday he made this big deal that he remembered my Tupperware. I have it. And then he forgot to give it to me. I can relate. I can relate too.
Joker. I can relate, too. But I got to get him out of jokes that have to do with remembering. It'd be like me getting hired to remember stuff. I'd be like, hey, listen. I'm pretty good at telling jokes, but that, uh-uh. I ain't going to remember something. Can't even remember the jokes. Got to make them up on the spot. Mikey, how about putting up a picture on the website of your new news girl, Savannah? I think Savannah's gorgeous. I'd love to. It's up to Savannah. Savannah just stuck her tongue out. Did you bring any lingerie? Why would I need lingerie? For the photo. For the website. We want a lot of hits, don't you? Oh, no. I want to wear clothes. Huh? Yeah. Weird. Okay, a couple things. I need more time. I wish I had 30 minutes because I want to get into this stuff. Well, the first thing that I got to do for you because I told you I would when we came back.
A new story from Fox News about the new trend of bird poop facials. Cut 14. She mixes it up for you so you get to see what it is that you're working, what she's working with, and that kind of helps sort of settle any initial fear of putting poop on your face. Yep, you heard right. We're talking about smearing bird poop on your face. Now, I know it doesn't sound very appealing, but don't write it off. As with many things, Who was that first person? I have an idea. Who was that guy all about? Maybe there was a lady who was just walking around randomly and had an accident on her face. And her skin felt real smooth afterwards. Right in that spot. It felt super smooth. Hey, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Really? No one saw it. No one saw it. Wow. I didn't see it. Sky didn't see it.
So I'll have to do it again just for Skye. Go ahead. Why would someone do that? Yeah, that's your boy right there. That's not my boy. I don't think anyone would do that. He's still doing it. I don't think anyone would do such a thing. Hey, hey. That is so wrong. Hey. You're so gross, dude. Hey. Stop it. That's really gross. Unposting. But don't write it off just yet. The owner of Shizuka New York Day Spa says slathering on some avian excrement once a month may be the secret to eternal youth. A long time ago, like 18th century, the kabuki actors and geishas, they used nightingale droppings to remove their makeups. Because at that time, those white heavy makeups contained lead. This ancient Japanese treatment, aptly named the geisha facial, promises to brighten, heal, and retexturize the skin. The natural enzyme in nightingale droppings breaks down the skin, dead skin cells. It can cleanse the skin very well. And another ingredient to give the skin luster. And it's perfectly safe. After the droppings are collected, they are sterilized under UV rays.
crushed into powder and added to a rice bran mixture before they ever make it near your face. But what about the smell? It literally just has a really nice natural scent. Oh, natural. That's a good way to put it. This particular facial. I'm really surprised. As with most things in life, beauty comes at a price. For about $180, you can treat yourself to a 50-minute geisha facial. Who knew bird droppings to be so therapeutic? Sky, Ashley, excluding price. Okay. Would you do it? Definitely. Yes? Oh, come on. If it was free. Yeah. Because you didn't even think about it. Definitely. Boom, you're in. Because it's all natural. It's excrement. I mean, that's... That's bird poo. Come on. I'll go scrape some off my car. You'll get it for free. Well, no, you didn't put it under a UV light and crush it and mix it with rice. That makes it okay? I got a lighter. Ashley? Yeah? You'd do it too. Sure. What? I wonder if we have any place. No, that's probably just this one place in wherever. New York? Yeah. I'm going to start doing that. We could probably make our own mixture. No, I do not trust your mixture. Put it under a UV light. No. Yeah.
I don't trust you. So I don't know when this happened. Eddie just showed it to me. Oh, that video you guys were just watching. It's something else. Olympic athlete from Hungary was weightlifting. And I'll tell you, man, every time I see weightlifting on the Olympics on TV, I'm always thinking, here it is. It's coming right here. And when it doesn't, I always think it's like something weird happened because it didn't happen. I'm talking about a dislocation of something. Eddie showed it to me and it was hard to watch. But the most unusual thing was that the Chinese have on the ready a group of people that run out with great big cardboard signs with the Olympic logo on it to block the cameras from seeing the guy writhing in pain on the ground. They're ready to go. Yeah. So, you know, it's going to happen. It's about seven little Chinese people run out with these signs. They look like, you know, sandwich board. And they hold them up so that you can't see anything. But the ridiculous thing is American television then shows it in slow motion. Cut 12. He's been very consistent. 140, then 145, now 148 on the button. He's dislocated. That's just awful. Yeah.
It's absolutely tragic. And thank goodness the loaders have come up and blocked that from view. And this young man from Hungary will be in an absolute world of pain. Dislocating his left elbow. And gosh, why do we have to see this? I want to see it again. Nice. We don't need to see this anymore. Thank you. I love it. Right, let's watch it five more times. Text us at 35253. We're talking about what's acceptable to take to a movie theater in terms of food. Oh, man. Now, Eddie, why do you bring this up? Dude, we were at the movies the other day at the Tropic Thunder premiere. And, you know, as soon as the movie starts, you hear that sound that most of us, you know, are used to hearing.
pop of the soda cam. And I'm like, come on. And they always try to sneak it in there when it's like a loud part. You can't sneak. We hear you, guy, bringing in your Sprite. And so I just don't like that. I don't know why it bothers me, but it bothers me. And to me, there's certain things that I'm fine with you bringing in. Candy? You want to bring in candy? I'm alright with that. Candy's ridiculous at the movie theaters. Everything's ridiculous. And it doesn't make noise. And, you know, whatever. And if it does make noise, it'll sound just like it would sound normally. Exactly. But, like, candy's okay with me. Soda cans, unacceptable. Water bottles, I'm okay with. Thank you. I'm alright with the water bottle. Then we can be friends. I don't know why. Homemade popcorn, I'm not okay with. Why? I am not okay with you bringing in your own microwave popcorn. I think that is ridiculous. You mean if you've already popped it in the microwave and you look over and down the aisle, you see a guy with a bag of...
Microwave popcorn. You're irritated. It annoys me. Yeah, I grew up, my mom, because, you know, the movie theater popcorn has artificial colors and flavors in it. Delicious. So my whole childhood, she would pop the all-natural popcorn at home. It must have been so gross. And then bring it in, like, Ziploc bags. Or was it good? Like, maybe that was one of the things that... It just, you know, it was flavorless, pretty much. What's the point then? It's basically the deal. It was like eating popcorn that they pack your stuff in at mailboxes. Yes. And there needs to be an outlaw on any fast food or any kind of meal brought into the theater. Why? Because there are certain places, certain theaters that let you shut up. Bring stuff from their shopping center. So if, say, there's a Panera in the shopping center where the movie's at, that's okay. I don't want to smell your food the entire movie. I don't want to do that. Edward San Marcos. Yep, they do that. They do it. And there's a Rubio's right there. So the fish taco smell permeates. Come on. Me and Mikey watched a movie in New York City once where a dude brought a full chicken dinner.
Sat right behind us, ate a full chicken dinner behind us. I'm talking a Boston market, black plastic bottomed plate with the white see-through bubble top that you have to pop off. Oh, yeah. Steam rising, roasted rotisserie chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes. Going at it. That's not awesome. On his lap. That is awesome. No, this isn't your house, okay? We all pay good money to see this movie. Exactly. I don't want to smell your food. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Everybody's paying good money, so if they're letting you bring it in, why not? Why not be more comfortable? It's a better experience. That guy probably just got off his day job where he's working all day. He stops at Boston Market. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Boston Market. And he comes down to the theater. It has to be Boston Market. That's what you said. I was just saying. I call it hometown market. I'll bring whatever in. I don't go to the movies anymore. I'll do whatever. Why not? You've got to make it a good experience. Yeah, I mean, I don't care. Whatever. Yeah, it's also very upsetting to me on planes.
Because people will bring in stinky food, you know, things that like smell and smell up the whole aircraft. Like, hey, we're all confined in here. Like, why don't you just go ahead and fart? Well, listen, Skye. I do do that. Skye, doesn't it depend? Altitude. Doesn't it depend? Stop saying that. Eddie always claims that altitude gives him gas. The whole time in Denver. I think he just has gas. He's blaming it on the altitude. Thank you, Mike. Look it up. No, it depends on the stink factor, Mike. Well, first of all, Sky brings up a great point. If you are, if any of this, you got to comment about theaters or planes or whatever, call us at 570-1053 or Texas 35253. I'm guilty of the plane thing. Well, you know, if I have a connection and I don't have time to eat and I run and I grab, you know, McDonald's real quick and I got to catch the plane, like there's nothing I can do about it. I got to eat. You know how I get. I gotta eat. You do freak out. You become the Hulk. See, and I've become desensitized to plane rudeness, so nothing bothers me anymore. Really? No, I've become... The expectation for plane travel for me now is nothing. It's pretty low. I don't expect any kindness or goodness. I just know that people are... Yeah, no courtesy. There's no expectation of courtesy. But my brother, Mark,
Takes a backpack into the movie. And he goes to the movie every day practically. Takes a backpack in there. And, you know, which to me. How do they let him in there? They do. Gets up a little picnic up front. Goes down the red and white checkered cloth. Brings out the basket. Tucks the napkin in his shirt. It's very embarrassing. I bet. To go in there with him. And he'll stop in the mall. And he'll get a hamburger, like a little cheeseburger from McDonald's. And French fries. And not the Coke from McDonald's. He'll take a can from home. Right. Of course. Wow. And it's packed in the backpack. That's effort. And you sit down and he whips out that little yellow wrapped cheeseburger. Or he also is a big fan of the McDonald's hamburger. Not the cheeseburger. The white wrapped burger that costs like two cents. This is a tasty burger. And he loves it and he'll take that thing out and you'll hear him pop that can open. Does he wait for a loud moment in the movie or does he not care? Doesn't even care. Wow. Pops that can open.
570-1053. Our text number is 35253. P1 Lee. Hey, Mikey. Hey. Go ahead, man. Hey, I was in the movie theaters, and I'm sitting down with my kids. I forget what movie we were watching, but I heard this crunching going on, and then I smelled the smell, you know. It smelled like chicken. And, of course, you know, I looked over, and this guy's, like, licking his fingers. He was eating a KFC chicken, you know. Of course, finger looking good. What the? Yeah. You know, then I tried to block him out. He was so noisy about the whole thing. Then I started hearing him crunching on some corn. Oh, my God. Dude. Now, what are we talking here? Are we talking the paper box of chicken or a bucket? It looked like a bucket because at the end of the movies, when I looked, he was sitting on the end of the aisle by a little shelf, and he had a pile of chicken bones. Oh, that's disgusting. That's so gross. Dude.
That is so gross. But aside from it being gross, it is so highly inconsiderate. So inappropriate. So inappropriate, so inconsiderate. This isn't your living room, people. Thank you. P1DI. DL. DL. I wanted to say that Eddie couldn't be farther from the truth here. You've got to smuggle your food in. My girlfriend and I, we like to smuggle Subway sandwiches in. That's a good sandwich. Where do you put them? We get her grandma purse out. Yeah. That's what they're made for. They're made for Subway sandwiches. Just smuggling things in general. That's what the grandma's purse is for. Now, I will say this. The food at the theater is disgusting. And expensive. The sky's rolling her eyes. Yeah. We ventured into nachos the other night at the Tropic Thunder. Food.
It was a bad idea. The chips were all stale. The cheese was yucky. They don't ever give you enough cheese. And what happened in the days of the cheese where the cheese goes over the nachos? Now they give you that little packet of cheese that's good for two chips. Terrible. I'm a firm believer that if something's a good idea, it had been done already. So apparently, it's a bad idea to build something in movie theaters that... provides us with better tasting food. Apparently that's a bad idea. Otherwise it'd be done by now. It's all about money. You know, I mean, those hot dogs cost them a quarter to make and they sell them for five bucks. And so, you know, they're turning around or making a ton of money. Now, if we're willing to pay, you know, $4 for a terrible hot dog, wouldn't we be willing to pay $7 for freshly, out of the fryer like chicken fingers. I mean, Sky, if you could get chicken fingers and fries and they're tasty and they're good, wouldn't you be willing to, you know, like...
Why do they not do it? I think Eddie's right. You know, it's like a, you know, cost analysis, you know, profit margin deal, you know, because then they have to get a fryer and then they have to have somebody who's trained for a fryer and their insurance probably goes up because now they have hot oil. You know, they should do something like they do at the airports where they basically rent out space in the airport to Burger King, to McDonald's, to P3 at Uno, whatever, and do the same thing in the movie theater. It's big enough. I would never go to the movies ever again then. Really, Eddie? Well, no. I don't want to smell people's Filet-O-Fish behind me all movie long. I don't want to do it. I just never go to the movies again. But aren't we already? Somewhat. I mean, but if it's there in the theater, it's going to be overwhelming. It's going to be for sure, right? That whole theater is going to stink. Yeah, that's a good point. I do have an admission to make. Oh, I bet this is bad, dude. Sean does something so outrageously inconsiderate, I bet. I don't, but I just don't want it to get back to you guys. Well, you know we're going to find out. That's the whole struggle I'm going through right now. Whenever I go to the movies, the place I like to go to is in a big mall, and they have a Rubio's there. Every time I go, I get the fish burrito. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Do you not care about people? No, he does not. You can't really smell it, though. Dude, it's fish, bro. No, you can't smell it. It's odorless. It's the most peachy smell. It's mild white fish. The worst. Scott, could you imagine sitting next to that guy? I'd have to move. I would have to move. Eric says he's got the worst food ever. that someone was eating in a theater. Oh, no. The worst food ever somebody was having in a theater. Eric, are you there? Yeah, Mikey. What was it? I was in Temecula, and I'm sitting up in the middle, and this dude comes in with his family, and they're eating fish, curry, and rice. Shut up. Like in Tupperware, or like what? Like what the heck? Oh, my gosh. Tupperware. I would have complained. I would have complained. My eyes are closed right now. And my stomach turned. That's so gross. That's gross. Curry is the worst food ever made by me. I second that. See, I love curry, but that's not right. And that wouldn't be appetizing. It wouldn't be appetizing to me because my imagination would kick in about how...
filthy they are. My imagination would start going, oh, I bet they cooked that in that gross kitchen and yuck. I bet they bathed in that curry before they cooked it. Yes, dude, yes. Yeah, she's right. Ew. This guy's obviously overreacting. Oh, no, she's not. And I would join the sky school of passive aggression. I would. And you guys know I'm not big on passive aggression, but I would then. How would it go? It would go like this. Oh, where is that coming from, babe? Where's that coming from? What? I don't know. I smell something. I don't know what it is. I don't know where it's coming from. Oh, it's awful, babe. Love it. Yeah, no way, man. Yeah, Mike. It smells worse than him. It does? Okay. It smells worse than him. Ham? That's crazy! Ham doesn't smell bad, right, Sky? P1 Hydroponics. Hello? Hydroponics? Are you there? I wonder what he smells in the theaters. His says there's a patent Oscars by the Mira Mesa Edwards and there's nothing like a movie and breadsticks. I mean, is he saying that it bothers him?
How could that bother you? The smell of fresh breadsticks is not offensive. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what he was saying, that he loved doing that. Oh, that he loves it. Yeah, because there's certain things that are not offensive. Maybe that's what they should do at movie theaters is put in stuff that's universally not offensive. For instance, a Cinnabon. Yeah. Put a Cinnabon in the movie theater because it's universally pleasant. Sure. Okay. A Filet-O-Fish is not universally pleasant. No. Nothing. What else is universally pleasant? Breadsticks are. Yeah. But what are you going to stick in the breadsticks? You got to put something in there. I think pizza. Pizza, yeah. Pizza's pretty universally pleasant. And they sell, you know, dude. They're awful. Oh. Yeah. What are they like? Rebecca and I got one, dude. They're terrible. And the girl at the, and the girl, I asked the girl. Rebecca was going to the bathroom, and she said, can you get me something? I'm really hungry, so get me something. I said, all right. So I asked the girl. I said, how are your pizzas? And she goes, you know, for being a movie theater, they're actually really good. Liar. And I was like, wow, okay. I'll take 10 of them. Cool. Yeah. Give me a crate. It was a turd on bread, man. It was just. It was.
Terrible. Yeah, I have this album. I got this album. Ashley says too obviously. Yeah, obviously. It's the Hooters. Wait, what? Isn't it the Hooters? No, it's the Outfield. Oh yeah, that's what I meant. It's the Outfield. I have this album. The Hooters? The Hooters. That's something else. Text us. 35253 is our text number. She's doing that out of sync dance. Robbins Brothers. One love, one ring. Visit us in San Diego at Friars and Frazee or at robbinsbrothers.com. Here's another Mikey moment. Why do you have to be patriotic? I don't understand that. Why is it so cool to be patriotic? Can you ask me that? Let me explain, my friend. If you live in a country where you have freedom, a lot of countries don't have those kind of freedoms. And you're given a lot of things by this country. And there's people that fight for your rights to have these freedoms.
And because of that, I will always love this country and love our military and for what they are able to do for us. And all you got to do is travel around the world, man, and see how other people live. And you will understand what you have in this country. And that is why you should love this country. Yes. I like it. Thank you. Well, back to the Mikey Show. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's a Mikey show at 731. Lindsay Lohan is upset with a paparazzi for saying that her 14-year-old sister, Allie, has gotten a boob job. Big upset at the Olympics, and this time in the U.S.'s favor. James Blake upsets Roger Federer in the tennis in straight sets. How about that? James Blake, dude. Blake did. Awesome. Booyah. Wow, good for him. That's crazy. Yeah.
It is the Mikey Show. We're going to be doing Tough Love with Eddie here in just a moment. Yeah, we are. Well, those of you that have listened for a long period of time, you know what Tough Love is. My boy, Eddie, who I've known for about 25 years. Oh, my gosh. I know. He will give it to you straight. He doesn't beat around the bush. He is what they call a guy's guy. Oh. That would be the point of beating around the bush. I mean, don't you want the truth? That's right. But you can deliver the truth in a nice way. But it doesn't have the same effect. Not at all. Got to be straightforward. Thank you. Don't you watch movies when people slap you in the face and are like, come on. Wake up. Get rid of it. Yeah. Get you all fired up. I don't care for that. Well, that's why you are who you are.
That's right. She doesn't care for it, but she knows in her heart that it works. No, I don't think it does. Wrapping up the what is acceptable to bring into the movie theater, food-wise, text message. Mikey, we've brought in food from Ruby's Diner by AMC Mission Valley. I'm talking chicken strips, onion rings, fries, patty melts. Oh, that's off roast. Gross and gross. Don't patty meals usually have grilled onions on them? But that will blend in just perfectly with the onion ring. The onion ring's steam billowing out of the bag. Stop it. Stop that. Mikey's sunflower seeds are not acceptable at the movies. People smack on them like pigs. That's P1 Nikita.
It's very true. If you disturb my movie watching experience, then you're a jerk. That's true. I'm talking cell phones. I'm talking all that stuff. Knock it off. And if you can't get a sitter for the kid, don't bring him. You're not allowed to come. Leave him outside. Leave him to watch Jaws 3 like three, four times in a row. Three or four times in a row. Stop it. Drop him off at Poltergeist. He comes out of Jaws 3D for the third time. He's like, nobody's here yet. Maybe I'll go back in and watch it again. Hope nobody kidnaps me. Fingers crossed. Maybe this time I'll really enjoy the movie more, you know. For a movie, by the way. Third time's the charm. And 3D. And 3D. No cell phones back then, so. Oh, no. Can't give anybody a buzz. Did you ever think maybe there was an emergency going on? What do you mean, Eddie? You mean you're saying, like, maybe they were experiencing an emergency? Yeah. They weren't. They were, they came to pick me up stinking of wine. Oh. Sweetberry wine. Sweetberry wine.
Maybe there was an emergency at the wine factory. Apparently. Communicating with each other right now silently. And violently. I'm sitting here, Mike. I'm trying to do a nice thing for the community. A service, if you will. And I get nothing but this garbage from this gal over here. And I don't like it. Eddie, I'm going to read you some emails. You respond to that in an open and honest way. I can do this. First letter reads, Dear Eddie, I am writing to you because I know Mikey rarely checks email and that you two seem to share a brain when it comes to politics. I'll spare you any philosophical debates over stewardship of the world as world leaders. However, I'm so smart.
However, it was very disheartening to hear that patriotism is somehow right and that if one does not subscribe to all of the U.S. rhetoric, they are wrong and should, and I quote, move to Canada, unquote. Correct. Well, I do not root for the U.S. Olympic team either. Does that make me a bad person? During my brother's time in the service, he was stationed at Camp Hovi in South Korea for a short time, and I visited during his stay. I found their scenery to be breathtaking and fell in love with their culture. If I root for any team in the Olympics, it would be South Korea, since I actually care about the outcome. Sincerely, P1 Bill in Rancho Penasquitos. Let's take this one at a time. You asked if not rooting for the American team in the Olympics makes you a bad person. The answer is no. Makes you an awful person. No. Come on. I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. And let me get this straight. Your brother was in the U.S. military in South Korea, and you're rooting for South Korea? Mm-hmm. I don't know.
Your brother made it possible for you to write this email, Einstein. That's true. That's true. Without people like your brother, you'd be speaking German right now. Building cars for the commissar. Mix in a civics class every once in a while, will you? Oh, wow. Oh, their scenery was breathtaking. Who are you, Meryl Streep? Take a bath. You're all full of weird. Stop being you while you're at it. Well, there you go. It was very eloquent advice. Disagree. How can you disagree with that? Yes, how can you disagree? Take a bath. You're all full of weird. That's my favorite part too, Scott. I don't even know what that means, Rob. I don't even know what he's trying to say. Our next letter reads, Dear Eddie, have a bit of a weight problem. I'm 5'5 and about 90 to 95 pounds overweight. Medically, you could say I am, in quotations, obese.
I've tried every kind of diet you can think of. Eddie, could you please use your vast medical experience as a dietician? I'm not a dietician. That's so true. Very close. Look at me. Very close. Help me devise a diet that I can stick with. Thanks, dude. That's P1 Leo from Encinitas. I'm eating jalapeno poppers as we speak. That is a true statement. Then you'll be cool to this guy. True statement. You're right, I will. Okay, good. Dear... Weight is enough. Weight is enough. That was okay. How about the fats of life? Okay. How about the American fattyators? Are you fatter than a fifth grader? So you think you can eat? This one you guys will like. Tim and Eric, awesome show, great jowls. All right. Who's the blob? I think we've had enough. I think we've had enough. Let me get to the advice. Here's a great diet. Now, I've used this over the years, and I've actually given this to many of my celebrity friends, including Lowe, Lorenzo Anderson. That's how he dropped a lot of the weight for his Roland Renegade. I'm sure.
I did. Thank you, Ashley. Extra cool. The diet is basically works like this. Stop eating so much, Chubsy. You're eating way too much, so stop. That's right to the chase. Well, you know, another one of my famous diets is called the seafood diet. I'm sure you guys have heard of this. Whenever food is around, pretend you see Rosie O'Donnell in nothing but a pair of water wings. Oh, wow. I think we all know. Gets the job done. Appetites are gone after that. Yes. Lastly, you could try a diet that is popular, yet a little controversial in Hollywood. Now, you can actually eat whatever you want for the main course in this diet, but you always have to have the same dessert. It's called the double-digit dessert. Hey, we do not advise this. Now, I would not suggest having that at the table, maybe, perhaps in a...
private. That's gross. We don't recommend Bolivia. That's gross. And you're welcome. No one said thank you. And you're welcome on that one. So try that one. Do try that at home. I've been looking for a new diaper. Rob, you've been on it for a year and a half. That's actually where I got it from. And our final letter reads. Dear Eddie, I'm a sophomore at Helix High School, and I have a major issue. I'm totally upset at my friend Megan. She was talking behind my back the other day, and my other friend Lonnie told me about it. Couldn't believe it. She's been my friend for three years, and she was talking trash about me? What's up with that? Like, how is that spelled? Ashley, you speak... Meh. Teenager, what is that? What is that? She's just like... Well, she wrote... Meh. Meh.
She says, what should I do? Should I confront her about it or just ignore her? I'm the one that introduced her to my group of friends and she wouldn't even have friends if it wasn't for me. I'm so mad, Eddie! Exclamation point. Mad. My friend Adriana says I should call her out. What do you think? Signed, P1 Summer. Eddie? Dear Baracko drama. Yes. I mean, it's like OMG. I don't even believe Megan would talk about you like behind your back. I mean, she should like totally kiss your butt. Dude, I have such a headache after listening to that mess. I mean, listen.
I'm paying 90 bucks every time I fill up at the pump. And this little Jonas brother loving nincompoop is my time with what Megan said about her. Look, Hannah Blontana. Do yourself a favor and stop worrying what Megan totally like said about you. And pick up a... textbook that you've been doodling on since third period and read it. Come on. Just a girl. Girls do these things. What the heck does... Stop making up words. Your name isn't Webster and you have no right to create words. So tell Lonnie and Adriana and Muffy and whoever else is in your circle of jerks to shut up. Trying to be like that cadaver-brained Paris Hilton and leave me alone. Oh, my gosh. Young girls. This is what young girls do. Wow. Man, son. That ended really, really well. Oh, listen. In the distance, guy. No, Mike. No one hears anything. Can you hear it coming up Adams Avenue? No. It's the sound of healing. Yeah, you're welcome, San Diego. Mikey. Great show, everybody. Great show. Thank you.

Eddie. I almost now try to find kind of the weirdest thing on the menu. It didn't. Sky. I hate to cook. Sean. I hate the taste of water. Boston Rob. You guys are a bunch of jerks and you know that. Jerks. And Ashley. I just have a different way of speaking. There you go. Utilizing the language. The Mikey Show's on. All right. No. That's what I'm talking about. Rock 105.3.
The Spanish men's Olympic basketball team is under fire for a photograph of them that Asian rights groups say is racist. Well, Olympic swimmer Katie Hoff is not going to win gold again this year. She failed to make the finals of the 800-meter freestyle. Oh. Eight seconds under her best time. Oh, wow. I think Ashley's friend is going for gold tonight. Which race? Yeah. She's been doing as well as... that she would either. I am missing it tonight, man. I have to make an appointment to watch because I'm so upset. I'm missing things. It's been so good. They'll probably show some of the basketball game from today. The Americans beat Greece pretty handily. They'll show some swimming tonight. Lots of good stuff. I got to watch, man. I really do. Got stuff just from you guys. The emails of what you guys have been up to that I really want to get into.
Really quickly, the woman that John Edwards had an affair with, her name is Rielle Hunter. I guess it's Rielle. It's spelled R-I-E-L-L-E. Rielle Hunter. Apparently, her sister is talking about it. Oh, come on. Yeah, brutal. And based on what she says, you're like, okay, so I guess you guys don't like each other. Is that the deal? Right. We get it. You're the good sister. Okay. Her name is... It's a great opportunity to win favor with your parents. Right? Yuck. Her name is Roxanne Druck Marshall. She is the sister of Riel Hunter, the woman that John Edwards was having an affair with. And so they ask the sister, what would you say to John Edwards? If you could say something to John Edwards. Cut three.
I would just tell her, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what my sister did. And what her husband did, too. I mean, they both did it together. You don't make a baby with one person. And it's horrible. Having an affair with someone whose wife has cancer. And knowing. And not just knowing it. The whole world knows it. There's no way. I don't know what they were thinking. She's talking about her sister. Dude. Man. He's a god and you make it to heaven. What would you want him to say to you? I mean, what is that all about? That's brutal, man. That's her sister. So anyway, that drama is continuing to play out. He's not even in the running anymore.
Did you hear that there was a book written about her, about the mistress? No. Yeah, back in, gosh, the book was first released in 1988. It's called The Story of My Life, and it's a book based on a party girl and her life in the New York in the 80s. And I guess the author based the book on... John Edwards' mistress back in the day. I guess she used to be like a big old party girl. And so, of course, you know, the book was popular or whatever when it first came out. But now that this scandal has, you know, come up, the copies are like flying off the shelf and they're ordering an additional like 2,000 books going to print. And, you know, it just keeps rising on Amazon. My eyebrows just went up because I can't imagine that there's that much interest in her. Yeah. Let's see. They say, as of Monday afternoon, Story of My Life was number 470 on Amazon.com's bestseller list and was out of stock. Yeah, it went from, you know, nothing to being on the bestseller list and being sold out. Weird. That situation for John Edwards and his wife, because now they both got to answer the questions. Oh, yeah. They're going to ask her. I mean, no matter what they do, that's what the questions are going to be. Oh, yeah.
Goes through to sort her mail. And as you know, Ashley doesn't sort her mail very often. No. She's sort of right now playing with her bangs. She's making sure that they're evenly separated. Dispersed, yep. Her bangs. They're getting kind of long. But anyway, she got a letter from her mom. And with it was this old document. And along with it was a post-it note that said, I was going through some old files. I found that we have a famous person in our blood. I was blown away. Love, mom. So Ashley starts to read through it, and these are Ashley's words. So I read it, and it was like this Braveheart guy. You have to do it in her voice, or else I won't. It'll confuse me if you don't. Say it.
And it was like this Braveheart guy who led all these troops to Germany during combat. Was it? This is really what it says. Was it Germany? No. Pretty sure it was. I don't know. I already forgot. Uh-oh. Guy by the name of Hoffer. It was pretty cool. Which led me to think, does anyone else have someone famous in their family tree? What the hell? Like, randomly related to someone famous or better yet, a current celebrity? So... The question is just what? Yes. My question for Ashley is... What? So you're related to a German, like, war hero? Yeah. Wow. And that's a famous person? Yes, I guess. This is the thing, like... My mom, like she is, she's really interesting. And she'll like send me these articles, like random stuff. And she'll be like, I don't believe your mom. She sounds exactly like that. I can't imagine that she would be smoking a cigar. No, she's not smoking a cigar. She had a stroke, Sean. And apparently.
Half of the face. I'm not kidding. And she'll, like, email, you know, so she'll mail me, like, in the mail, like, old-fashioned, like, these newspaper cut-out clippings where she highlights, like, what she really wants me to read. She'll stick a Post-it. Hi, Sharon. So I found this article, and I really thought you'd enjoy it. Check it out. Love, Mom. Like, I don't know if it's for her. You know? And so I just, it's like, it's like, ridiculous. I get this, and she's like, so check out who's got a celebrity in her family. I was blown away. And I look and it's like this old document scene. How did she know that you guys were related if that's not your last name? Well, I mean, she was going through old files. Like my grandpa, he immigrated from Germany. So that is your name. That is a family name she was aware of. I guess. That would be a question for my mom. My mom's crazy. I get all my crazy, like silly, like my laugh get from my mom. Now what does she say? Like is he an uncle, grandfather, great uncle, great cousin? I gotta bring the dang document in. I was gonna bring it in and then I forgot. Hey guys.
But she would know. I mean, I'm going to say maybe like a great, great, great, great, great grandfather. Oh. Something. I'll have to check. This is like an old document. I'll have to check it. Is that William Wallace? Yes. His name was like Andrew Hoffer. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. H-O-E-F-F-E-R. I thought that you were primarily African-American. You said that there was some African-American in here. You're primarily vegetarian. That's right. You are all so confused. I'm 0.1% African-American, and I'm potentially a vegetarian. I got it. Partially, I mean. Potentially. Potentially. She's showing a lot of potential. In the vegetarian arena. Every once in a while, she'll snack on carrots. You know what I mean? She's showing some potential. Partial. So listen to this story. Brutal. So Sean, our...
Our germaphobe on the show was flying back to San Jose yesterday. Yeah. Because that's where he lives. And he was on the plane. He was watching Columbo on his iPod. Of course. Great episode, by the way. And the woman sitting next to him was about 40, 50 years old. And she asked him what he was watching. So he told her, I'm watching Columbo. And she asked if she could listen also. She wanted to plug in her headphones. No way. Who does that? So listen to this. So listen to this. Sean has this device called a booster. It has a three headphone volume booster connected to it. Oh, dude, I need one of those. It's really awesome. Can you get me one? Yeah. Thank you. So he let her plug in. Really? Yeah, and they watched Columbo together. I was so excited.
That someone actually wanted to watch Columbo? No way. I was practically falling all over myself going, oh, yeah, yeah. Dude. When I went to wake him up the other day when he stayed here yesterday morning, I opened the door and one of our drapes is laying on the bed. Normal. Because Sean said he had taken it down because he didn't want stuff. flying off of it in the particles in the room. And he had connected something to the TV in there, and there's Peter Falk with his one eye. I walk in the room, and there's Columbo on the TV, drape on the bed. I'm like, he is a different person than I. He's from Mars. He is so different. He's so, so different. You and a stranger watch Columbo on a plane. It was so awesome. He said the name of the episode was Now You See Him. Yeah. It's a great one with Jack Cassidy. He plays this magician called The Great Santini. Okay. And it's one of two episodes that Columbo actually worked with a partner on. Did it?
He really loves that show. This was one of the really great ones. And so every time Peter Falk would do his, oh, one more thing. Hey, Sean. We would both kind of look at each other and go, oh, here it comes. Oh, wow. Really? It's about to get good, huh, Shawnee? I can't believe that Sean and a stranger. We're sitting there watching Columbo. That's creepy, Mike. She was like a business professional. A ventriloquist? She was a magician. She had one eye. She really talks like that. Ask Mark. He thought I was making fun of her before we went to my brother's wedding. You probably were. Preparing him to meet my mom because you need to be warned before you meet my mom. She's so silly. We've never met her. out there, man. Why don't you get her on the phone? Can you get her on the phone? Yeah, let me try. Let's talk to her. Hey, Karen. Oh, no. Get James Cagney on the phone. Yeah, I want to talk to James. This is the other thing about my mom. Every time I call her, I'm not kidding, she doesn't know who it is. Hello? She never knows it's me. I go, Mom, it's Sarah. Sarah? Your daughter. Oh, wow. I kid you not.
She won't know who I am when I call right now. Chances that this woman sounds like that. Oh, I don't know, man. You're blowing me away with that one. You know her impression. What is she going to sound like? Will it be anything close to that even? I say no way. No way? No way. Hey, guys. When we come back, we're going to talk to Ashley's mom. First time ever. The first time ever. We never talked to her in our lives. Awesome. We'll be back. Right after this, talk to her mom. We're wrong. And this is The Rock. Labor Day weekend. Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron.

Watch tonight at 5 on the new Fox 5 San Diego. to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the commute is winding down in some spots, but still pretty tough on others as westbound 8's all jammed up here as they approach the 163. This continues at a crawl to an accident blocking lanes just before the 5 freeway, and now a traffic alert has been issued advising you to avoid that stretch for a good reason. The West 94 King Freeway looking pretty good. This is clear right now in the downtown. As you work your way out of the South Bay, good-looking speeds on both the 5 and the 805 northbound. The 5 Freeway, a little bunched up to the downtown S-Curve, getting on to the 163 there. And the 805, still quite heavy coming out of Kearney Mesa. That's a slow ride over the 52 to Governor Drive and the Golden Triangle. South from the 15, pretty messed up here as well, from the 78th of your ranch on Parkway. Then again, from Carmel Mountain Ranch into Poway, your westbound 56. Watch for the brake lights here from Carmel Country Road to the 5. I'm McLaurin's on Rock 105.3. From the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is your female. It goes rock. Shaved Mexican. I don't eat. I've become a different person. Sky. The only liberal person in the world. Sean. I routinely obsess about the cleanliness of my windshield. Boston Rob. I'm emerging from the 805 to the 8. I'm afraid that it'll collide. Yes. Very, very impressive. The Mikey show's on. Something supernatural is going on. This is Casey. Yeah.
Eddie's not as good of friends with Casey as some of the rest of us. He does not like Casey. He does not like Casey. All you have to do is look at Casey one time and you will not be friends with him. Casey is a good, good guy. He's very judgmental of you. He's disgusting. He throws up every time. He gets nervous. Then don't do it. Then don't do it. He's working on it. It's getting better. Public speaking is very... Then why does he do it? You know that since he started... Horse and buggy. This was an improvement. I want to go on a horse and buggy ride. This was way bigger. He's not that scared. I want to go on a horse and buggy ride. A little nervous, but he's able to work it out. A horse and buggy ride. A horse and buggy ride. Yeah. A horse and buggy ride. A horse and buggy ride. A horse and buggy ride. What was that? I ignored my horse. Can you hear the horse? Who is that? Casey. Why is he making noises? He got scared. You get scared, you make that. He got scared at the very end of the song? When you get scared, you yelp like that? Sometimes. Yes. Yes. Listen, there's only one song of his that he's saying that I can relate to and I enjoy.
And I like hamburgers and hot dogs. Who doesn't? Casey has a very unusual way of holding the microphone. What he does is he keeps his forearm completely horizontal with his elbow out directly to the right. And he holds his hand in a fist, a tight fist, and the microphone is in that tight fist. Kind of like a news reporter. Yes, exactly. He holds the microphone exactly like a news reporter would, only he is gripping the microphone. For dear life. Can you just tell me what's the matter with his face? He has a birthmark. It's not a birthmark. It's like a burn unit. It is not like that at all. He might have a touch of eczema. He has eczema.
He has a touch of it. Why does he sweat so much? He's nervous. Really? Yeah. Nervous and hot. He's nervous and hot. Duh. That's right. So, 5701053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. This text says, hey, Eddie, I found out last night that my house property, house slash property that I rent was used in an episode of Renegade here in San Diego. I was probably there. Oh, you probably weren't. Oh, come on. Well, I worked on many different sets. No, you didn't. You were an extra in one episode. I was extra good in the episode. Okay. But it just depends, I guess, which episode he's talking about. But that's really cool. Yeah, for sure. Let me know if you want me to come over and autograph the house. Oh, please. That would be ridiculous. He will get his refund back if you do that. Let's see. Hey, Sean, are we getting that picture up? Oh, my gosh. It's up right now. It's up.

What you're seeing here is a real license plate because the indentation, like you can see the impression when it was stamped out. Yeah, it looks pretty good. I can't tell a difference. Yeah, I think it's real. If it wasn't real, I'd be surprised. I believe with 99%, there's a, I hold out. a 1% chance that that is a photoshopped or not real photo of that license plate. Mike, the heart believes what it wants to believe and I believe that that is real. It is phenomenal. You don't think that's kind of cool? Oh, not at all. Someone dedicated... Go to MikeyShow.com What if someone got a license plate that said Ash Sweats? I think that'd be kind of cool. Awesome.
like a dedication. Sure. Or like a license plate that said, Ashley's dog is really ugly. Well, that's too many letters. You can do those abbreviations. But that's like a hurtful thing. Like, my dog is ugly, but Skye hearts ham. Like, Skye likes ham. Like, I think that's kind of an honor. Yeah. An honor. I really do. I do too. It's a California license plate. If you go to Mikey, I agree with her. It's an honor. It'd be one thing if it was like, Ashley's stupid. That's mean. That's mean. Sky Heart Ham. It looks cute. I can't believe that he went in to the DMV. I know. Crazy person. No. Not at all. Psychopath. Psychopath. Yeah. If you go to MikeyShow.com. M-I-K. Someone do Ashley Sweats. E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Go to MikeyShow.com. That's awesome. And click on see this P1's license plate dedicated to Sky. It's a California license plate that he had personalized. And it says Sky Heart.
Ham. I mean, he had to pay extra money for that, Mike. In this bad economy, this guy's going to spend extra money on that. Worth every penny. That is going to generate for him so much cool conversation. Oh, yeah. New friends. Yeah, and I think that he will be very fortunate if it stays intact. If I were him, I would bolt that sucker down. That's true. Because people are going to want that for their apartment so bad. A ham adventure. Sky heart ham. Ham is a very great ingredient. All right, Sean. Hey, Zeth just went to the license plate generator page. Yeah. And he had personalized out ash sweats. How's it look? It's pretty good. The only thing is, is that there needs to be a space because it looks like Auschwitz. Yeah. What about Ash Pits? Yeah, now he's figuring it out. He's working it out, dog. Oh, Ash Pits. That's seven. Ash Pits. Yeah, that's seven. You can only have seven spaces. Good one, Eddie. Yeah, if there's got to be a space in the middle, it'll make it eight, though, yeah? Yeah. I would love to see these start popping up all over San Diego. Or like Sammy Fat. Yeah? S-A-M-I-F-A-T. Gotta have a space. Dog is spelled with an I? Gotta have a space. A-M-I.
Hey, just think about it, man. There's P1 everything is probably available in California license plates. P1 Jason, he's got one, man. He showed us. That's huge. It's on his vehicle. P1 Jason. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. Mikey Show. Hey, how are you? Good. I was wondering if you could help me with something. I need some advice. Okay. Okay. My husband. We've been married for like, I guess, a little over a year now. And he has a little brother who they are very close with one another. And he's always loaning him money. Your husband's loaning him money or he's loaning your husband money? Oh, I'm sorry. He's loaning my, well, my brother-in-law. He's loaning, my husband's loaning my brother-in-law money. Got it, got it. Okay. And how old's the brother-in-law? He's just out of college, about 23. Okay.
Okay. So he's not that much, you know, younger than him, but he's definitely just getting started in life. You know, his first job, first car, the whole bit. Right. And we've been together for like three years. So this isn't just something that's just started. This has been going on the entire time we've been together. Right. And, you know, I'm trying to be like the supportive wife and, you know, not ever saying anything because I don't want to step in the middle between, you know, their relationship. That's their business. But, you know, it's like $100 here, $100 there. And I don't know. It's our money, too. And I work, too. And every time I say something to my husband about it, he's like, you know, what do you want me to do? This is my brother. You know, it's my duty. You know, we help each other out. That's how it is. Is this Rob's fiance? Seriously. Okay.
Recently, he's wanted more than the norm. He wants $1,000. Oh, my. Does he ever pay it back? Sporadically. I mean, sometimes he has paid it back, but it's been like, it's literally like pulling teeth because it's just, we have to kind of keep mentioning it. It's almost become like a running joke between the family and them about it. So he has paid back at times, but it's definitely... You know, they always say if you loan family money or friends, never expect to get it back. And if you do, it's a surprise. And it is a surprise when he does pay back. But the reason why he needs $1,000 is because if something made it wrong and he got a DUI. Oh. Yeah. And so now he has all these court fees. Well. It's not like he wants to go on a mission to some foreign country to help out children. It's because he made a huge mistake. Irresponsible. Yeah. Well, bottom line is that the whole thing about, well, it's my brother, what do you want me to do, blah, blah, blah. Well, I want you to do, this would be my answer, I want you to do what I would do. I wouldn't just be thinking about myself.
I would be thinking of the fact that it isn't just my money. It's our money. So you've got to take both people into consideration. It may be his brother, but it's your money. The two of you. You're one. When you get married, you're not two people anymore. You're one person. I know, but am I being a jerk about this, though? You're the only one that can answer that. I don't know how you're saying it to him. You should definitely be saying it to him nicely. Yeah, she's a jerk. No, she is not a jerk. Stop it. Eddie, what do you think? You know, here's the deal. I do agree with you, Mike, that, you know, I mean, when you get married, you have a new family. Like, that's your family now. And all that stuff has to go through the family filter. I will say this, and this is kind of a rule with me and my wife. We don't fight about money. Money comes and money goes. We're happy when we have money. If we don't have money, we're still going to be happy. We'll figure things out. I don't like fighting about money. I think that's such a stupid thing to fight about. It's hard because there are times that come up when I'll do something that maybe she doesn't necessarily agree with or vice versa. We'll have to talk about it, but I don't want to fight about it because it's just money. For me,
When my friends or my family, if they ever come to me and they need money, then if I can do it without hurting my family, I will absolutely do it. And hopefully your husband is not putting you in a position where you're hurting for money or you guys need that money and all that stuff. But if you can afford it and you can help somebody, I say go for it because it will come back to you tenfold. Yeah, I mean it's not – It doesn't seem like it's too much of a, what do you call it, like a hardship on you guys. Is it a burden on you guys or what's the deal? Well, we're not rolling in it by any means. Who is these days? I know, right? But, you know, we're more established than he is in this point in his life. What is it that's bothering you? Pardon me? What bothers you the most about it? Does he ask you when he gives him the money or does he just go give him the money and not talk to you about it? Well, I'd say how many times, dude? Like, I mean, yeah, I'll help you out once. I'll help you out twice. But on the eighth, tenth time and the amount keeps going up, no. It's almost like he's enabling you. Yeah. You're an adult. You're 23 years old. You just got out of college. Like, please. Let me tell you something. And I can tell you this from having friends or whatever and seeing this.
can happen and continue until that person is in their 40s. Forever. It'll keep going on and on and on and on and on. So, I mean, you just have to know once you start, it's, you know, unless you say it's going to stop, it'll keep going. Well, I've even said to him before, you know, maybe at times I know you think you're helping him, but maybe by everyone bailing him out every time, that's hurting him because he doesn't think he can do it on his own, you know? Yeah, it's hurting him. Does he not have a job? The brother? In between jobs right now. He's waiting to find a job. The market's just so bad for everybody. Do you guys know people that are always in between jobs? Yeah. They're not in between jobs for more than a couple months. Almost to the point where you hear so-and-so's got a job and you're like, really? What are they doing?
Like, what happened? I didn't know this. Tell me what's going on. Yeah, and every job they get whenever they leave that job, it's always, like, some crazy story that's not their fault. Of course. Someone else is a nut job. And they hated it because the person there was such a jerk. Right. And we're getting some phone calls on it, so we can take some phone calls on this. Is that cool? Yes. Okay. Let's see. P1 Navy wife is on the line. Go ahead. A very similar thing with a family member of mine. And what my husband and I have pretty much agreed on is that when we're helping them do something, you know, better themselves, go to school, helping them get a car so they can get a job, that's, you know, that's great. But when, like, your brother-in-law is, he's done something wrong. And it's not fair to you and it's not fair to your husband to have to pay for his mistake.
This is his punishment that he needs to be responsible for. It's tricky, too. It's tricky. I'll tell you why. It's tricky because the guy might say, well, listen, I'm going to pay you back. And the fact that at times he has paid back, albeit getting beaten up over to pay back, he's done it. So now you're in a tricky place because he can say he's paid you back before and he has. And what if he has to pay these? These fines so that he can get his license back, so he can get a job to pay you back. Ashley. It is, like, so tricky, I feel like, because I've loaned out money in the past to friends of mine who I really believe need it. And I feel like they've got no one else, so I'll loan them the money. And then I will find out from somebody else through the same clan that they actually took that money and went and got a tattoo. Or they actually took that money and went and drank. Are you speaking directly to Rob right now? No. But it's just really tricky because it's like, honestly, it's like how many times Sky's right, and it's like, where is that money really going? Where is that money really going? Yeah, Rob. I know that I used to borrow money from my dad, and he would always give it to me, and I'd always say, Dad, I can't afford this bill. Like, Dad, I can't afford this. And he'd loan me the money, and I'd pay the bill, but whatever extra money I'd have.
Or when I would get money, eventually, say a week later, I'd get a paycheck. And I was supposed to take $100 and pay back my dad. I'd go and I'd buy booze and go and party it up. And peers continue to be irresponsible. And my dad learned through a harder, you know, he learned that he was enabling my bad habits and my being irresponsible. Yeah. Well, I used to ask my dad, I used to ask my dad to borrow money. And I never, when I would ask to borrow money, I never meant borrow. I always meant, can I have? I just didn't know how to say, dad, can I have 200 bucks? I didn't know how to say that. So I would go, dad, can I borrow $200? And I knew, like in my head right then, I knew there's no way I was paying that back. And it's not like you're intentionally using, you know, it's like I wasn't intentionally. I was. I knew. I wasn't. I needed money. I mean, so, I mean, that's the bottom line. I needed money. I love my dad more than anyone in the world, except for maybe now, my boyfriend. Oh, my gosh. And I would never even believe that you came up out of this conversation, but you didn't. I love you. I love you. I slipped it in. I said, I love you. I love you. More than anyone in the world. I need you like the flowers need the rain.
I love him so much. I need you. I need you, baby. As I look back, I go. I'm not kidding. Okay. I'm getting down. Oh, no. Don't ask me for you. Will you? Yes. Okay, we're married. Okay. But, you know, I mean, it wasn't coming from a place of hate. But I feel like as I look back on it now. Oh, really? When you asked to borrow money, you were not. It was not coming from a place of hate. I guess that's a bad word. That is really. That's crazy. I wasn't giving it malicious. I hate you, Dad. Give me money. Dad, you. Yeah. I wasn't trying to be sneaky or manipulative or malicious like when borrowing the money. I always felt guilty and I would want to pay him back. Yeah, but you knew when you borrowed it, it wasn't going to whatever, right? Well, I knew that I wasn't going to pay him back. I genuinely was trying to figure it out, but like I said, I don't encourage it because it's just messy. It gets messy. I still have friends that owe me money and I've given up on it. You still loan out money to friends? Not anymore because me and my boyfriend, he and I had to talk about it. You're so handsome. I love you. I love you.
My bank of love, by the way. But he told me that it was not a good idea, and he felt my friends were taking advantage of me and using me, which often has happened in the past, so I cut it off, and I will no longer loan out money to friends. Lady on the phone, I'm sorry. Are you still there? Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You guys crack me up. Tell me your name. Oh, P1 Amber. P1 Amber. I'm going to let you go and we'll take calls on it. Okay. So just listen. Yeah, yeah. Listen on the radio and we'll take a bunch of calls. Okay, I'll take notes. All right, cool. Good idea. See ya. Bye. Ashley has some friends that are just so mean to her or whatever. I want to pick all your friends. Well, it's to the point now that I just don't even have any friends because I've cut them all off because they all sucked. They all are borrowing money from you? Like you, people, people, I've been worked over, Mike. People have used me as a match. Cry, cry, cry, cry. I used to be the biggest push over, especially in high school, and I was the yes girl, and I wanted everyone to like me, and I just did what everyone wanted, and I got used and abused and taken advantage of and taken for granted by everybody. Cry, cry, cry.
I have, like, no friends, but I don't have to deal with any of the drama of people. But you know what I do have? I got you, Mark. I love you so much. Stay thirsty, my friends. Is this P1 Jason? Yes. Jason, did you take your motorcycle? Did you call AIS about your motorcycle? Yes, I did. What happened? Well, I'm buying the motorcycle. I should be getting it today. And I called my insurance company yesterday to insure it. And they wouldn't insure it because I haven't had a motorcycle endorsement for three years. They referred me to Progressive. And Progressive wanted $1,400. I called Geico. Geico wanted $1,013.
And then I remember, you know, AIS from the Mikey show. So I called AIS and they gave me insurance for $829 a year. That's awesome, bro. On a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja and never having a motorcycle endorsement on my license. Be careful on that thing, will you? Oh, I will. All right, brother. Thank you for the call. You're welcome. Now, that story is not unlike my story. Only mine was with a car. I save $1,600 a year by switching to AIS. You can too. They also offer Mexican insurance. So if you're going to be visiting Mexico, get the insurance and get it at a good rate. The reason that it's as inexpensive as it is for that cat is because they're a broker. They're going to shop over 30 different companies for you. That's what's amazing about AIS. Call them 1-800-777-4247. 4AIS is an easy way to remember it. Summertime is family time. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. It's so funny. It's a ride through Mission Valley right now in the westbound. 8th is all due to an earlier accident that was blocking lanes before the 5 freeway. It's out of the way now, but things are still just heavily backed up here from approaching the 805 freeway. That stays slow up to Mission Center Road now. Now it's starting to break up a little bit. So you've got some good-looking speeds for a stretch, and then it hits you again right around Hoked Hill Circle, then again one more time around Morena Boulevard. So that'll hopefully clean up here real soon. West 94 looking great in the downtown. No worries there. The 5805 northbound out of the South Bay moving right along. 805 still jammed at the Watakrini mix over the 52. South 15, not a worry here too much at all. Just a brief slowdown around Villarancho Parkway and then you're good to go. And the coaster rides South 5. Watch for a slowdown from Encinous Boulevard down to Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence, Rock 105.3. Hey, P1 Sanjaya. You went to sleep train? I went out to sleep train and bought myself a mattress finally. When did you do it? This Sunday, actually. Cool. What did you get? The Beauty Rest Comfort Classic. Did they deliver it Sunday, Monday, or when? Sunday when I told them to because I was moving that day. That's pretty awesome. They set it up for me within like five minutes. And how did it feel that first night? It was like being in heaven. That's awesome, man. Thank you, Sanjaya. All right, dude. Talk to you later, man. Sleep change your ticket to a better night's sleep. Here's another Mikey moment. P1AO is on the line. Grab a shovel, dig this.
So anyways, I'm like 12 or 13 or something like that, you know? Right. And I think child's play had been out for a minute. So I was like, hey, I'm going to check this out. And I was sitting by myself. And I don't know, but there's something about a dwarf that bites you in the leg. And when I saw him go jump on that little kid's back, I was like, I love it. Yo, what did you do? And I was like, back to the Mikey show. Rock 105.3. Hot chili peppers. It's a strong word. I shouldn't say that. But I don't care for the music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers at all. It's very boring to me. You hear this? You hear this jam? To me, that is so, like, boring. You know what it reminds me of? I'm going to paint the picture for you exactly. This is the music that is playing at the concert. Like, you're at this concert. It's hot. People around you are... The guys don't have shirts on.
Their boxers are showing out of their saggy pants. And they have on sunglasses. And it stinks of pot. And everybody's sweating. And everybody's drunk. And you've wanted to leave for an hour. But the person that you're with is loving it. And you're just like, I hope this is over pretty soon. And you're thinking to yourself, you're in the next... break, like after this song is over, I think I can ask if we can go. And then what they do, because it's this type of music is, they blend this song right into the next song. Nice. Yeah. Talking about. You're pretty much 100% right on there. And it sounds like a great... But it's all just like every song has that. Every song has...
This kind of sound and you're just like, I'm so bored of this music. I just want, oh, I want to go, I want to go, I want to go. That's good. Ash, love this stuff. To me, it's like a language I don't speak. Do you hear it, San Diego? It's the sound of boredom. 849. Jessica Simpson says that she's given up pop music for good to focus on her country career. Pac-Man Jones is going to send a letter to the commissioner asking for his full reinstatement. I think that's a good idea on Jessica Simpson's part because I think her country music sounds good. Yeah, but she's not getting the warmest reception from the country people. No, she did one of her first country shows, I think it was like a month or so ago, and went on stage after Kelly Pickler had performed, former American Idol contestant, Kelly Pickler, and was booed by the crowd, Jessica Simpson. Oh, wow.
Yeah. Ashley, you wouldn't happen to know the name of a Jessica Simpson country song, would you? Come on over. Come on over. I was going to say, isn't there just one? Come on over. Played this one. I mean, if you're into this type of music, I don't know, she sounded good. It's very twangy. The lyrics to country songs are something else, man. So dumb. Eddie, isn't there something really appealing about pretty country girls? Of course. Yeah. There's something about country women. You don't have to have a great voice to be a country woman singer, and that's Jessica Simpson. Oh, really? I think she's got terrible voice. Oh, man, I sounded like a good singer. I love her. When I change all her feet. Stina Aguilar is laughing at her. Right? Really? Dude, the trippy thing to me about it is, here's Tony Romo, and you know...
That Tony Romo, he's probably dating just the regular, ordinary girl when he was in high school, even probably college. I mean, I know he played football and everything, but the guy's going out with Jessica Simpson now. He was the backup in Dallas for a while, wasn't he? He was an undrafted free agent. That's a story, man. Carrie Underwood, Jessica Simpson. That's gnarly. Who else? That's his last two girlfriends. When is our fantasy football draft? In August. End of August? Awesome! It's like the 29th, something like that. Come on, Russell. Figure it out, bro. He's already sent emails. He's doing a good job. We have a date. We do have a date. He sent an email. You don't know what it is. He said it was the 28th, but there was a scheduling problem with a couple of the guys, so he had to change it. No, wait. Zeth, are you playing? That's just what I heard third-hand. Is Zeth playing? Oh, he's banned.
Yeah, I'm banned. That's just what I heard. He got banned from the Fantasy Football League? He's got a file for reinstatement like Pac-Man. Russell said he was going to fight for me. What about Rob? Rob doesn't even want to play because he was so bad at it. But Zed apparently thinks he can play and he wants in again and we're all laughing. I want Zed to play. Thank you. It's dead money. It's money for you guys. He didn't care last year. Did you not care? I did, but it was hard with Rob. Rob ruined everything. I think Rob did ruin everything. Speaking of Rob, Eddie's rolling his eyes. Eddie's saying, no, Rob didn't ruin it. Rob, dude, Rob, all he wanted was to just have his little Patriot players. Once Rob didn't get the Patriots, he didn't even care the rest of the year. So how is that hard to play? It's like that would be a relief. Yeah, what was up with that, Seth? Well, it was... I was going and I had a good lineup, and then a couple of guys got hurt, and then there was one week where I was having issues and whatever. Yeah, but what did Rob have to do with that? Well, it was from the draft. You guys knew that whole fiasco. Like Eddie said, though, after the draft was over, how did Rob pull you down? He didn't. Eddie got to the bottom of it. Well, I wouldn't mind seeing you play. Thank you. Oh, you're out.
Oh, come on, man. Teddy's banning from the league. That's my vote. You have to apply for reinstatement. Well, who do I need to talk to here? The rest of the league. Yeah, the rest of the league has to vote on it. All right. You're going to have to convince the rest of the league that you exist because, you know, a lot of them say, who is Seth? I don't know what is the Seth character. Let's see. Speaking of Rob, the gas monkey is out right now. The gas monkey is in Escondido right now. The D-Do. Come on. That's right. Get us a gas card. Well, the gas monkey is out. He's in Escondido in the Rock 1053 van. So if you have the new Mikey Show P1 Army bumper sticker on your car and you're in Escondido, have him find you, man. Pull you over. And he'll get out of the car dressed like a monkey. He'll come over to your car dressed like a monkey. He does a monkey dance even. And you can see all this stuff on the website, all the videos up of him doing this.
And he comes up to your car with a bunch of bananas and you pull a banana off and the banana has taped to it gas cards. Nice. Sick. Gas cards are worth between $25 and $250. And man, I'm hoping today we get somebody to pull like a nice big fat $250 gas card. We've given away a $100 gas card, $75 gas card, and $25 gas card. Nice. But we're doing this every day. We're just looking for someone right now for the gas monkey to pull over. Well, I would say stick to the main drags, like maybe take the Center City Parkway up, maybe hit El Norte, go down, flip around, come back a little Valley Center Parkway. Oh, man, Zeth just instant messaged me that he talked to the gas monkey himself, and the gas monkey's just basically been doing circles around Skye's neighborhood for the past half hour. That's ridiculous. Run outside. Somebody told him to. Run outside. Go around like business areas, will you? You're not going to find anybody in that moat that's got on a... There's no moat. That's got on one of those stickers on their, you know... Hey, not a castle and there's no moat. Moat vehicles? Stop it. Whatever they are. There's a gutter out front. So, yeah, if you're in Esco, you got to have that gas monkey find you, man.
P1 Witt. Hey, how's it going? Good. I was calling about the loaning people money. Loaning family members money. Yeah. What do you think? Well, I have a theory on it that I go by. And loaning anyone money, you should never loan it unless you can afford to not get it back and assume you're not going to get it back. That way, if you get it back, it's just a bonus. That's a pretty good idea. Skye says that if she loans over $500, get it in writing. Well, it depends who you're loaning it to and whatever. But, yeah, that's the way my family does it. If anybody ever loans anybody money, we always write a contract. For how much? Even between family members? Yeah. Oh, my. Have you ever had to write a contract? I haven't, but my parents have written a contract. for me before when I borrowed a little chunk of money for a down payment. What are they going to do? I mean, why the contract? Are they going to take it a quarter? Well, yeah, and the contract has specifics laid out about how much interest I'm paying them on that money and what date it should be repaid by. Interest? Yep. Interest?
Give you the money and then you pay them back that amount? It's a growing interest? Well, I mean, can't they just kind of go with the spirit that their daughter will pay? Well, it was a nice chunk of money. It was for the first down payment on this condo I bought in the late 90s. You're not a flight risk. I'll tell her. No, I actually made out on the better end of the deal because with me, they... lent me the money and then had me pay interest on the money. And then when I sold the condo and made a nice little profit, I got to keep all the profit because they charged me interest. They could have easily not charged me interest and put in the contract, hey, we get X percent of your profit. And these are your parents. Yeah. They could have easily. Well, what? Like they don't need money? Like, I mean. Taking your profit? Well, I mean, if they would have wrote that in the contract, if that's the way it rolls out, then yeah. If they were taking a percentage of your home? Yeah. If they gave me the money for the down payment, they have every right to, you know, they're the lender. But there's mom and dad. I mean, you're your mommy here. Come on. Well, yeah. I mean, I can see if they like loaned me like 500 bucks or whatever. But I mean, this was like. You're not a business transaction. This was like $30,000 or something. It was like $30,000 or something like that. Now, Sky, will you do that with your kids? Definitely. Okay. Wow.
It taught me how the world works and how loans work and how you need to be responsible and how things aren't for free. Okay. Will you make a profit? Or will you... Did you learn from the situation? Did you learn from the situation? Like, if they were smart, they would have made a little bit of... Well, it's interesting because I think my parents learned from the situation because... When they loaned me that money, you know, and had me pay interest, the market, like all of a sudden after I got my condo, caught on fire in the Bay Area. Like, you know. If only we'd put it in the contract. Right? So they actually, a couple years ago, loaned my brother some money for him to buy his home in Mira Mesa. Don't say it. And instead of charging interest, they're taking a percentage of the profit. But now there is no profit. The children. There is no profit. I'll spray you. Nothing like making a little dough off your offspring. Hey, I mean, that's their money. They have every right. I support that, and it teaches us a good lesson. What? See, it wouldn't teach me nothing. I'd be like, oh, that's my parents. I don't got to make a payment this month.
Yeah, I mean, you would still... Oh, see, not me. Sky... You know, I have the same respect for them as a lending institution. I'm not going to mess around. They're not going to foreclose on you. Yeah, you know what I mean? Sky just gave Eddie a look like... Really? Really? I don't know about that. Oh, yeah. They would. They'd throw me out. They'd make me move back home, and they'd rent it out. Goodness. Come on. It's good business sense. I think it's awesome. Oh. Hi, gas monkey. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Okay. Uh-oh. I don't... Mike says already. He's a gas monkey. Yeah, yeah, I'm a gas monkey. I'm up in Hamcondido. Oh, no. Really? Really wrong? That's going to leave a mark. That's going to leave a mark. It's pronounced Escondido. I feel at home up here. There's Donkey Kong up here on the gas monkey. Yes. That's all the interest they get. Oh, no. Hey, it's a gas monkey.
Oh, my God. Everyone is staring at me. Oh, I wonder why. A lot of people are like, hey, hey. What does he yell out the window? What kind of car, Rob? Oh, you're going to love this. It's not even a car. I'm not going to say names of any companies or nothing, but it's a huge work truck. Okay, okay. Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Probably sparklets water. Now, hang on a second. Now, you got another person in the car with you, right, Rob, that we're going to use their cell phone so we can talk to the person that you're pulling over. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How about I just give him a ring right now? Go ahead, Zeth. Hold on. At least he's not yelling. Let me see your hands. Wait, Rob. Hey, we told you yesterday you're not banana police. You're not an officer. No. Oh, I am when I put this costume on. Yeah, all this is being said in a monkey costume. And when I do this, I have a lot more rights. Hold on, am I on the street? You have more rights? Yeah. He's out in the street in a monkey outfit. Where are you at, Rob? What street? Yeah, where? I don't know. I was going to do those. You don't know what street you're on? Hold on, I'm in my monkey suit and I can't hardly see nothing. Ask someone what street you're on. It's 9th Avenue.
There you go. Hey, Rob, who is holding the winner phone right now? Promotions or the actual winner? Oh, we got the winner. Hold on. I can just hear you said he's got a charges hat on. What's your name? P1 what? P1 Jim Bob Fish. P1 Jim Bob Fish. Is that you, Jim Bob Fish? Yes. Okay. Now, I'm guessing that we can't say what company you work for or can we? It'd be better if we didn't. It'd be better if we didn't. Okay. But you are in a work truck. Yeah, we're on Canterbury right now, and somebody's giving us some trouble about where we're parked at. Oh, is it the cops? No, it's a Mercedes-Benz employee. What's their problem? Who cares? Oh, because, oh, I get it. Because they're not from BMW of Encinitas, you know what I mean? That's right, and they would let you be there. BMW of Encinitas would let you be there. Well, they can whine all they want. You know what I mean? That's right. Well, so there they are. And do you see the gas monkey standing before you? Yeah, he's hurting off traffic. Awesome. Okay. Is he holding... I'm going to monkey walk. Rob, do you have all your bananas with you? You've got to believe it, Mike. All right. Let's have our winner here pull a banana, please. Okay, hold on. Mercedes employees are around.
They need to calm down. Relax. Take it easy, guys. What's so weird about a giant man in a banana or a monkey suit holding bananas? Yeah. And are people charging to get into the Mercedes dealership right now, 9 o'clock on a Thursday? Yeah, give us like three minutes, will you? Right. Anyway, fella, what's your name? Hello? Yes, what's your name, bro? James. James, I want you to pull a banana. Can you do that for me? Yeah. They had me pull the sticker off and stuff like that. Okay. How much is your gas card worth? It's $25. Another $25 one. It's going to happen, Mike. It's not bad. All right. Fine. I would take that in a heartbeat. That's great. I mean, you got $25 worth of gas and everything, but I want to get one of those good ones. Even with the price is going down, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. I'm more disappointed than you are.
He's convincing you how cool it is. Yeah, exactly. He's like, Mike, really, it's great, man. I mean, I really need this. It's really awesome. I'm like, oh, you suck. And then they ended up you and I gave him the hang loose sign. There you go. And that's when business went down. Gotcha. Well, listen, James, I don't understand what you're saying. So I'm going to let you go, but congratulations. The gas monkey pulled you over. You just won 25 bucks. And it's not very much, but hey, congratulations, dude. Hey, listen, I wish you'd won more money, but you know. We got an employee that maybe wants to. Ask yourself. I think we're getting 80 sticks. Don't worry. I'm the banana cops. Everything's all right. All right. Get out of there and come back. And BMW Encinitas is the best anyway. So, yeah, they'd let you stay. All right. Thanks, guys. Thank you, guys. Good job, dude. We'll see you. All right. Gas Monkey, come back. All right. I'll moonwalk my way back. Oh, hi. Wow. He just got attacked. What just happened? He just cut off.
Are you there? Oh, my goodness. What the heck happened? We've lost the gas monkey. The weirdest thing I've ever heard in my life. Our text number here is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. I've done personal appearances before, but I will say that I rarely do them. In fact, in 2007, outside of stuff that we did that was specifically like as an entire show, I do not believe that I did one personal appearance in the year 2007. Not one. The only reason that I am doing one in 2008 is because I'm going to be really honest. I care about this. Like, seriously. Listen, this is just me being really honest. Unless there's something in it for me and I really think that I'm going to have a great time, I turn everything down. I'm being really honest.

Back, it is 922. Actor Shelly Malil pled not guilty yesterday to allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend more than 20 times at her San Marcos home. This is kind of interesting. Oscar De La Hoya is in talks to fight contender champion Sergio Mora. I thought, I don't know why, Oscar was kind of like phasing out of the whole business. No, he was actually in talks with trying to fight Manny Pacquiao, and that fell through. And so now he's talking about fighting Sergio, which is crazy to me. That's amazing how much boxers, how much they make. Especially Oscar. There's a lot of money in that business. They are loaded. Thank you to P1 Penguin. I have to admit, she's pretty sweet. Yeah, she's cool. She just dropped off a big tray of sugar cookies. And the note says, thank you to the Oracle and to Rosie.
a.k.a. Zeth, for winning for me yesterday in P1 Password. Aw. That was our pleasure. Wanted to make some cookies for them. Also, thanks to yesterday's topic and, ahem, interesting U.S. points of view, I chose a patriotic cookie theme. She made it look like the flag. That's cool. That's very cool. Awesome. She says, hope you like them. That's very nice of her. Very cool. Yeah. Our phone number is 570-1053 if you want to call us. Man, do we have a lot of news that we have not got to yet. It's like 6 a.m. I feel like. I know. We should just be starting. I know. Well, we'll get to a bunch of that in just a second. But first, a random debate. Oh, yeah. All right. I like it. What is more likely to be real? Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster? Easy.
I don't know about that there. Easy. Easy. Eddie, this is beyond easy. All right, let me hear your arguments. Sky, I bet you and I have the same exact thing. Probably. Well, because we get his. Oh, boy. I believe that the Loch Ness Monster is more likely to be real. Yes. Hold on a second. Mike is on the right track here. And why, Mike? Why do we believe this? Well, the only photographic evidence that we have of Bigfoot is the stupidest looking thing I've ever seen in my life. It's a dude in a suit. But they have physical evidence of... tracks and fur and things like that that they can't explain. For real? Yes. In real life? Yeah, watch a lot of that stuff on Discovery. So is that our only reason, Mike? Because I have a better reason. Well, I also think that the Loch Ness Monster is there in that big loch and that thing's gigantic. They're not going to take all the water out of it and check it out. What even is that? The Loch Ness Monster? Yeah.
It's in the, what is that lock? Loch Ness. Loch Ness. It's in Loch Ness. A lock is a word for lake in Scotland. That's what they, in Scotland, they don't say a lake. They call it a lock. Loch Ness. Loch. And so it's like saying, you know, I don't know. Lake Havasu. Yeah, Lake Havasu. So it's a monster that lives in a lake. Yep. I wouldn't say it's a monster. To me, it looks like a brontosaurus. Yeah, it looks like a dinosaur. Come here, Ash. Let me show you a picture. But let's hold on a second. Well, I didn't do our point justice. Go ahead. Let me hear what you got. Well, because we know that sharks allegedly, what, date back to prehistoric times. So there's things in water that I believe have been able to survive through the years, like through the ice ages and whatever, because they're, yeah, because they're underwater. And I believe such is the case with the Loch Ness Monster. But you don't think that there's a giant Sasquatchian? Oh, I'm not saying that a Bigfoot isn't real. I'm just saying the chance of the Loch Ness is better than Bigfoot. That's scary. Sean, these people are crazy. Look at this. Bigfoot wouldn't survive the ice. Bigfoot is prehistoric. Nobody said...
Bigfoot is prehistoric. Why don't we have a bunch of Bigfoots running around? Maybe they're very rare. There's no Bigfoots running around. There's pictures of the Loch Ness. Loch Ness. That's in Bill Ness. But let's not forget, the most famous picture of the Loch Ness monster was proved to be a phony. The guy admitted it on his deathbed. He did? It's got to be Bigfoot. Bigfoot's real. Why is Bigfoot real? He's crafty, man. He's crafty. He's, like, knitting things. Like, making dioramas. Come on. I haven't heard you guys give me a why on the Bigfoot. Like, why is he real? I believe that there are species roaming around in the forests and things like that that, you know, us as humans just haven't seen very much of. And there are eyewitnesses of this thing roaming around that stands on two legs. It's giant and hairy that people have seen that's, like, seven feet tall. Yeah, and there are lots of, like, casts that they've taken of footprints and things like that. And I can't explain them. Yeah, there isn't anything like that for the Loch Ness Monster. No, because it's in water. Well, I'm just saying it. Well, you know, where does it ever come up? There he is. There's Bigfoot. That's a guy in a suit. I mean, that's clear. That's Rob. The most famous picture of Bigfoot ever. Mike. Right there. That's the point. There are no pictures of it because, you know. He's got a tag sticking in it. He hides. Yeah, he's hiding out with Bat Boy.
That's true. How dare you? How dare you, madam? Hey, you show me, like, Bigfoot turds and I'll be in. I'll be like, all right, fine. I will show you a Bigfoot turd. I do not want to see that. Let's go to the bathroom. Let me Google, all right, let me Google Bigfoot evidence. Do it. I don't see no hair. Do it. I ain't never heard of no hair. You never heard no hair. Never heard no, finding no hair. Yeah, dude. Lots of hair. Yeah, watch Discovery and all those shows. Yeah, learn something. Yeah, there's all kinds of different specials. Finding Sasquatch and all that stuff. I don't know. He's out there, man. He's just chilling. It's all about the Loch Ness, dude. Is that the only two? Not really. Or are we forgetting anything? Like other crazy things? Yeah. Well, there's like... What is that thing that lives in South America? Chupacabra. Yeah, Chupacabra. Chupacabra. No. I don't even know what that is. The Chupacabra. Hey, Edward James. Yeah. Get out of here. How did he get in here? We must be talking about the Chupacabra. Okay. And for Brian Wilson. Yeah, he's so happy right now. UFOs? Seen it. Believe in that. Yeah. Occasionally I get...
Eddie, I didn't see no weather balloon. This was no boating accident. Occasionally I get kind of freaked out that there will be a flying saucer that will come to my window and might abduct me. Okay. I do. I thought it last night. So do you believe in life on other planets? Or do you believe that the things that you have seen have some sort of explanation here on Earth? You just don't? I don't know what I think. That is a far out question. But I've seen a UFO. Twice. So you believe, do you believe that's from? That doesn't make an alien. He's on an unidentified flying object. Okay, so you're not willing to say that it wasn't. That it's from outer space. You're not willing to say that. No. But it's something you could not identify. But I will say that the movie War of the Worlds really got in my head. Okay. They make an interesting point. They did. Got in my head. It scared me. Silly string all over the place. Hey. Hey. Hey.
P1AO says he saw Bigfoot. There it is. I believe him. That's my dog. Where are you? Are you there? What's up, Zeth? What's going on with line four? Nah, he was there. These phones have been messed up all morning, man. I need to hear him. Our phones have been messed up for a couple of weeks. Put him on hold. I'll try to get him. I did. He's on hold now. Yeah, hopefully he'll call back. Betty just sent me a link. Bigfoot trackers say they've got a body. Yeah, right? There it is. There it is. Proof. You wanted proof? You got it. Bigfoot. You wanted proof you got it. They say they have a body? You wanted proof you got it. Well, you know what? I have the body of the Loch Ness Monster in my office. You know what? It's real short. I'll read it. It's real short. I'll read it. Read it. Bigfoot may have been found. We will see. Two Northern California men and two Georgians.
Say they've got a body, a photo, and DNA evidence pertaining to the elusive forest-dwelling man-ape. Whoa. And they'll reveal all at a press conference in Palo Alto, California on Friday. Now, this just came out today. This is from today. Proof, homie. FoxNews.com. It says, I think you'll find that this is the real deal. Robert Barrows of Redwood City, California said. Oh, Sky. Matthews Witten, a cop in Clayton County, Georgia, and his friend Rick Dyer, a former corrections officer, say they recently found the body in the woods of northern Georgia. Veteran Bigfoot tracker Tom Biscardi said. Hey, Biscardi. Hey, Biscardi. Biscardi, delicious. He's examined the body, and scientists will get their chance soon. Cool. Now what do you have to say? I say that these guys are a couple turkeys. Oh, come on. They're trying to Zappo us. It's going to be a big old Zappo, dude. I'm not falling for it. I ain't going for nothing. That is how you do that. Yeah, yeah. And they found the body of Boy Blunder. Yeah. Hey. After a peanut butter binge. I ain't buying it. There's a bunch of people calling in about it. Yeah. P1 Trophy Lounge. Hey, how's it going? Good.
I wanted to kind of say more for the argument of maybe there's something up with the Bigfoot type of creatures and bipedal apes. Because, Adam, did you guys discuss about how all these different cultures and countries throughout history have had some kind of Bigfoot type of myth? No. Chupacabra. And actually, I was watching, I think, a history channel. They have that show called Monster Quest. And they were talking about an incident that happened in our own backyard in the High Sierras. Apparently, a Bigfoot type of creature attacked a group of, like... Cub Scouts. Zappo. I don't know what to eat. Peanut butter. This is crazy. Shocking. Official report say it was a couple of cubs, but I don't know. I saw that coming down Mission Gorge. Did you? All the way down Mission Gorge. Thank you for the call. Boy, blunder when you need him. That's precious to me. That's sweet. P1 Marcus is on the line and says there's video of the Bigfoot, right?
Yes, Mike, I have the proof that is going to convince you. What is it? If you go on Yahoo, there's a... If you go on Yahoo. Yeah. Okay, yes, go on Yahoo. And then you type in Bigfoot video. Yahoo. And I'm going to type, I'm typing in Bigfoot video, okay? All right, and you go, it should be like the third one down, and it says OregonBigFoot.com gallery or whatever. I found it. OregonBigFoot.com. Okay. What do we got? Got it. It was a special one. Yeah, dude, that's that famous one that looks so stupid. That's the famous one, dude. Is that that Pruder film? Yeah, dude, it's that one that we've all seen of the guy in the monkey suit. Terrible. It wasn't a guy in the monkey suit. Dude. Come on. I'm looking at that. It's Peter Mayhew, bro. Yeah, brother. I'm telling you, Chewbacca looked way more real than this. That's true. You find it kind of interesting that all of the hair on that Bigfoot's body is, like, even? Right. Dude, there was an entire documentary, I think, on the Discovery Channel, and they were showing how the footprints and how the person or how it was standing.
How it wouldn't, like, a normal human being couldn't walk like that. It was like a two-hour special. You got it loose. Oh, come on. Don't say that. Gotta screw loose, man. It never could get it. What's the matter with you? This. You believe there's a giant lizard swimming around in Scotland. It's true, there is. Come on. This is a good band, Rotical Horizon. Texas, 35253. 570-1053. Hey, Mikey. The Mikey Show. is on. I just want to say I love this show. I listen to you guys every single day.

That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jam. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either.
Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the AC rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Well, the truth is, if you ever see things in real life, they look a little bit fake. The real stuff looks a little bit fake because the movies are so good. So if it looks a little bit fake, then it's real. But if it looks real, it's got to be fake. It's funny. He's not on my team. You're not on my team. I'm just saying. Ridiculous argument. That was a bad argument. You are an argument. You're an argument. Any response to that? Mikey Show. Hey, Seth, this is P1 Monkey Man. And I was just saying, you know, until there was actually, like, photographs of gorillas, they thought that was a mythical creature, too. And they didn't even find out about it. What?
Who thought... What are you talking about, that they thought that a gorilla was a mythical creature? I saw it on one of those, like, you know, proving that the, you know, that this whole Chewbacca thing was... What are you talking about? You thought I was bad. Holy Toledo. He's not on my team either. Yeah, it's your team, Eddie. You got a screw loose. I redraft. Oh, no. Substatiate. Well said. You're killing me over here. Mikey, I'm in Escondido and I just saw Bigfoot pulling people over and handing out bananas. History solved. No, you're confused. That was Smallfoot. That's right. Actually, it's petite foot. Mikey, you guys haven't even talked about the abdominal slow man. Oh, yeah. He's good, too. The abdominal slow man. That is fantastic. Mikey Show.
Hey, Mikey P1 Gunslinger. No, that dude is right. Back in the 20s and 30s, they didn't believe that gorillas existed. Who's they? Who didn't? They from they.com? Oh, they.com. Are you saying American society? They.com. The people out on safari in the world, they didn't know gorillas existed until they thought it was a mythical creature also, until they actually got proof of them. happened, I believe, in the 40s is when they... The 40s is when we got proof of gorillas? Before the 1940s, we had no idea gorillas existed. Or zoo going around. Have the Google Oracle look it up. Okay.
Darwin apparently was not around. No, he hadn't figured it out yet. He was still working on his theory. He's not on my team. Darwin didn't come around until... It wasn't until about 1923 that we figured out the world was round. That's true. 1999, the car was invented. 1964, water came into the world. 1842, the pilgrims landed. Hey, we're on the same team. I kick you off. No way. Brilliant. I'm the backbone of your argument. Yeah. What? Yeah. Let's see. P1 Amber. Amber. Yeah. Go ahead. You're on the air. All right. Well, there is this Tibetan term, and it's tulpa, and it says that through intense belief and visualization, a person can actually... create a physical being out of nothing. I've never done that. I've never been able to do that. I did it yesterday. I don't think people can do that, Amber. Hold on. I see the tooth fairy. I don't think people can do it. Oh, wait. That's Seth. He's wearing a fairy outfit. That's what they are. Why is he wearing that? It confuses people. I've never heard of that. This explorer actually created this little monk and then it kind of
took over itself and then she had to like intense visualize it gone or something like that. Never heard of it. You shouldn't believe everything you see in movies. I'm just throwing that out there. I don't. I read a book. What was the book called? It's by Sylvia Brown. It's called Visits from the Afterlife. Oh, it's from the... I love Sylvia Brown. She's a crackpot. She is a legitimate psychic, Mike. Yes. I saw a bunch of screws fall right out of her head. No, you did not. No, you did not. She did my reading, she did Eddie's reading, and she was dead on. Every one of those screws was loose. Oh, stop it. You leave Sylvia Brown alone. She's an angel. Thanks for the call. Okay, bye. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I had a back. I had a back. I had a back. I was reading it on a bar. P1 Ladder Painter. Hello. Yeah, how you doing, Mikey? Good. I heard this story yesterday just off of the web. So I did a little more research on it because I've been looking into Bigfoot for a couple of years now. Basically, this guy, he went to put out a movie a couple of years ago stating he found a Bigfoot body and all that. Well, it turns out, again, he comes back. Yeah, he's putting out the movie in the next couple of months.
I'm just saying it's all a bit old hoax, like the Blair Witch Project stuff. Is that what this thing is where Eddie's talking about and they found Bigfoot and here's photographic evidence and all that? Yeah. It's hype for a movie? It's hype for a movie? Yeah. It's like a movie in the same vein as Blair Witch where it's supposed to look real, but it's all a big gag. Yeah, exactly. All right. Get it all hyped up so you can make a couple more bucks. Take it. What's it called? Do you know the name of the movie? Bigfoot. I have no idea. Like I said, this is just Harry and the Hendersons. I ran across a couple articles about how to put this movie out. Bigfoot movie. I'm typing in Bigfoot movie. See if I get anything. Yeah. Maybe this is it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go to themoviebigfoot.com. themoviebigfoot.com. Hey guys, I gotta get back to work. Alright, fine. Take a break. Sorry to keep you. Let's see. Bigfoot store. Blah, blah, blah. Trailer? Teaser trailer? I don't even know if this is it. The one that he's talking about. Come on, Mike. Figure it out. You guys found it yet? Yeah. I'm watching it right now. Let's see if I can get the audio going here.
Terrible. Is it real? It looks terrible. Yeah. Please. It's like a Lifetime movie special. Some guy with a flip book. Oh, yeah. It looks like a... Oh, it looks terrible. It looks so bad. So bad. Uranus Productions, by the way. Oh, it's a comedy. It's a comedy, I think. By the way, Uranus. It's a Zappo, you guys. No, it isn't. Zappo. Total Zappo. That doesn't prove anything. Proves it, that. thing we were looking at was a bunch of... Where is Loch Ness? Yeah. I bet if we were in Scotland right now, we'd get a lot more calls about it. There's no Loch Ness movie. Yeah. P1AM is on the phone. Didn't work. How are you guys doing? Good.
Hey, well, I'm actually a biology student at a university around here. And the guy talking about the gorilla is correct. A university around here does not sound very... I'm double majoring in biology and geology at UC Davis. All right. And basically in my, I think it was like an evolutionary biology class, we learned that the gorilla thing is correct. They didn't know about it until I think the 1920s. Who's they? And then the Okapi, like they have a few at the wild animal park. They're large mammals. Those were actually thought to be mythological creatures and they found those in 1921. So it's plausible that there's organisms out there. Like the Loch Ness Monster. Well, maybe not the Loch Ness Monster. Hey, you just said it was plausible. Yeah, you just said. You just said. You don't know. You're the one that just said. I don't know. You're not a marine biologist. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. That's science, Holmes. This number is 35253. YouTube clip of the day. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. 105.3.

Now hit it. You coward. If you were here, you... Talk to me about this guy. I want to know what you're doing. I'm pausing the television. Why? I paused it on this swimmer. She's beautiful. Why? It's a man. What? Wait a second. That person's wearing lipstick, lip gloss, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, blush, rouge, and foundation. No, crap. It's a naturally beautiful human being. Oh. Well, if by beautiful you mean cross-dressing. No. Please. Does that person look like they have makeup on? Yes. This guy.
guy. What's happening? I don't understand. I don't know. Maybe that person wanted to wear makeup because they're going to be on television. I don't know. Did you know that America's next top model is going to have a transsexual on it? He is a gay man. You guys heard me right. No way. It's for women. Who says? The world. The world said that America's Next Top Model is only for people born as a woman. Yes. Yes. I think it's a great idea. No, she doesn't think that. Why? Because you don't think it's a great idea. I think it's cool. Why? Why? Because... There's beautiful transsexuals out there. Save that clip. Save that clip. Why shouldn't they be able to model? If they're beautiful women, why shouldn't they be able to model? You are the best. He is a gay man. Is this Nazi Germany? Yes, it is.
Stupid. Yeah, so the 11th season of America's Next Top Model starts September... You'll fight for anybody's race. Oh, it's true. Well, especially minorities, yeah. Definitely. The tranny minority? Yes. Really? Yeah. So September 3rd, Isis is her name, and she will be their first transgendered contestant, and I think she's beautiful. Is there a picture? Yeah. There is? It doesn't look like a guy, I'll tell you that much. Hey Rob, let's check it out. Looks like a lady. She has petite feet. Sounds like a lady when she walks into the room. Heard they wrote a song about her. Damn her, whatever. It's her. No, it's her. Here we go. This is about a tranny. Fighting for the rights of trannies. Everywhere. Does not. I don't know. They don't say whether it's pre... Because I don't know what... He's pre or post-op. I don't really know what transsexual means because there's a different... I don't because there's like transgender, transsexual, trans, you know, transit. The transit system. Yeah. I think the difference is... Transam. No, I don't want to say it. Transformers. No, I learned.
way back in the day. We had a trans something working at the radio station. One just wants to live the life of the opposite sex and one believes they were actually born in the wrong body. One wants to get dressed up like a lady and the other one wants to be a lady. Yeah, exactly. It's a man baby. Are we missing one? Transgender, transsexual, hermaphrodite. What's that? He got both parts. That's somebody who's born with both parts. Jamie Lee Curtis, never heard of him. And then there's cross-dressing. Then what's the difference between cross-dressing and one of those transsexual, transgender things? Well, I think cross-dressing, you dress as both. Right? What are you asking me for?
Eddie said, why are you asking me? He's wearing a full blouse. Does he reapply his lipstick? He paused from looking in his compact to say, why are you asking me? That's good times, isn't it? I'll tell you what. I'll tell you guys. Whatever. That's fun, isn't it? Good times. Made in Manhattan. Oh, talk about it, Mike. What? Don't talk about that. Please. ABC's making a show out of it. What? Yeah. Why? They're going to make a show made in Manhattan. Oh, it's a great movie. But it flopped and it didn't do in J-Lo. Oh, I love it. I watch it every time it's on. It doesn't make sense. Every time it's on. Couldn't pay me enough to watch it. No. It's a really good movie. Yeah, they say J-Lo will serve as the executive producer on the ABC show. No. Well, how do you make a movie out of that stupid concept? You go to, you know, someplace and you cast and then you get a bunch of ladies that come in there and then you say, you look like a maid in Manhattan. No. You're hired. No. That's what you meant, right, Eddie? That's not what I meant. Oh. No.
I know it's weird. They just stretch it out, Eddie. How? They just stretch out the story. That's stupid. Come on. You love it. I don't love it. You love it so much. You might. I'm just saying. It's possible. Dave Coulier is talking about the Atlanta song that's about him. I don't get it because he's already done that. That song, yeah. In fact, didn't he talk to us about it on the air? We've never had Dave Coulier on. We had Ryan Reynolds on. Is that what you meant? No, I think we had Dave Coulier on and we asked him about the song by Alanis Morse said about him. I think that was Bob Saget. Maybe it was. Maybe that was your other show. I'm also on the Mickey show. I thought it was though. No? Did we ask Saget about that? I don't think so.
I know we talked to somebody about it. Was it Ryan Reynolds? It may have been Ryan Reynolds or Bob Saget. We definitely talked to somebody involved, but never Dave Coulier. Was it John Stamos? Well said. Well, you know that song by Alanis Morissette, You Ought to Know? Rumor is that she wrote about him. Dave Coulier. They were dating. Alanis Morissette and Dave Coulier from Full House. Cut it out. Are you sure you're not thinking of, like, Cool Moe D? Or Sean's friend, Moe Stout? No. Jay-Z or whatever his name is. It's none of those. Whatever. It's more deep, right? Nope. Deep tissue. Nope. So would you like to know what he says? Yeah. He says the first time he heard You Want to Know the song, he said, wow, this girl singing this is angry. And then he goes, oh, man, I think this is Alanis. Really? They had broken up. Really? He didn't know. No, he didn't know. He said he listened to the song over and over again. He said he listened to the song over and over again, and then he goes, wow, I think I may have really hurt this girl.
And he barely remembered dating her, though. So he said he tried to contact her, finally got a hold of her. And then, you know, the press kept calling him, say, hey, do you want to comment on this? And he wouldn't comment about it at the time. And then he finally got together with Alanis. He said they spent the whole day together. Kind of. He apologized. They mended bridges. And now they're friends. It's like it was written by the character from Fatal Attraction. Yeah. Glenn Close is scary. Yeah, it's like Glenn Close's character wrote the song. Yes. Like, she recorded the song holding a knife. I wouldn't blame her. You don't blame her. Skye, a bunch of chicks have been heartbroken, but they're not all whacked out like that. Listen to her. Dude, I believe anything.
that when you run your nails, down his back, did you think to me? Yeah, I think any chick who's like cheated on like that and betrayed like that has that anger in them initially. And that's her way of venting. Me and Dave Collier talked once on the show, I think. Yeah. He said that it was no big deal and Alanis blew it out of proportion. Yeah, Ash, find a clip of when we talk to Dave Collier and then let's hear it. If I ever brought you Dave Coyote... Yeah, I'd say, hey, so what's up? Was... Clear it up. Did Alanis Morissette really write that song about you or not? I mean, what would he be coming on our show to promote? He was... I thought he was doing like something on ice or something. Like he was doing something where he was like... Like Crystal Meth? No, like not that kind of ice. Oh, like skating with the stars? He was doing something where he was skating or something.
I bet you we actually did. Was he on that show? Look in the system and see if there is Dave Coulier. How do you spell Dave? Are you looking? She has said something else, man. She's a rebel. She has a cause. She's not a rebel without a cause. She has a cause. He was on some thing where he was skating. Well, yeah, I think he was on that Skating with the Stars. Skating with celebrities. I'm telling you, I think we actually did. Like if Eddie came to you and said, hey, Mike, you want Dave Coulier? Oh, I would picture me going, absolutely not. I would picture me saying that, but Eddie's good at sometimes telling me why it's good for the show. And he might have said, remember he was on that show, you know, Broken House or whatever. What was the name on that show? Uncle Joey. Little House on the Yoke. There's beautiful transsexuals out there. Yes! Yes! That was you, Sky. That was you. You're a pervert. You are. You're worse than Sean. There's beautiful transsexuals out there. That doesn't make me perverted to say that somebody is beautiful. We know what you're into. Whatever. Sounds like your grocery list for crying out loud.
Shut up. What website are you looking at right now? Right now? I'm looking at the Mike Show blog for a Dave Coulier reference, but it was when Tyrone and Tortilla called someone Dave Coulier. I Googled it. I Googled Dave Coulier Mikey's show, and it came up that there was something, and I clicked on it, and it was... How would we call somebody Dave Coulier? Let's see. Today they had some guy on who was a columnist and a so-called fashion expert. He wanted to get on and talk about the Academy Awards, but that wasn't happening with Tyrone and Tortilla. They kept calling him different names, and at one point, Tortilla called him Dave Coulier. Oh, look at that. In the Olympics right now, how racist is that that they would put up that that's that guy's name in the eighth lane? Mike? That is so racist. That's probably actually his name. Pinto Perez? I mean, that seems like a clearly racist thing that they would just put... Like, somebody's going to get fired over that. You can't say that.
Yeah, that's just what he looks like. Yeah, they were like Pinto Perez. Your Mexicanness is what defines you. Are we sure that Ash didn't spell Coulier C-O-O-L-Y-A-Y? Are we sure? I am not sure. Ash, how'd you spell Coulier? I just looked through all the Daves. Nothing? What did he say? I don't remember ever booking Dave Coulier. I actually have a memory of this. And I remember... Asking him about the Atlantis thing, and he didn't think it was that big a deal. And, yeah. And they're, like, cool now. Like, they've talked. You're sure it wasn't Ryan Reynolds? No, because I don't think we'd ask Ryan Reynolds. Like, Atlantis stuff? We talked to him about Atlantis stuff. Yeah, we talked to him about Atlantis stuff. Maybe I asked Ryan Reynolds, hey, did Atlantis really write this song? It's easy to confuse the two.
Did your girlfriend really write that song you ought to know about Dave Coulier? Maybe. I don't know. For some reason, remember asking. I keep track of every guest we've ever had, so I can look back. Yeah, we did. All right, 5701053 is our phone number beginning and end of every show. We do open phones, so call. Say hello. Hello, hello, hello. Hi. Hi. Julia Child was part of World War II Spy Network. So we'll see you later. So take care, everyone. So Missy's up next, and we'll see you tomorrow. What was the deal with that? She just had some time on her hands. The Swedish chef wouldn't get involved. There were some famous people back in the day who were part of this early version of the CIA where they were recruited to be part of this spy ring. And so Julia Child was one of them as well as White Sox catcher Mo Berg was also part of it. They say Eight is Enough author Thomas Brayden was also one of them as well.
And Dave Coulier. Wow. Dave Coulier. Man. So David, the older brother, on Eight is Enough, was a spy. No, I did not say that. He also sang the theme. I don't know if anybody knew that. There's a world with coming with love. There's a brand new world. Da, da, da, da, da, da, da. He had a gorgeous voice. To fill our lives with love. Just one of the best. That may be better. Best theme song ever. Ever? Ever. That's the worst theme song ever. I didn't agree with that. It was pretty bad. You fired me up for the episode. Oh, what kind of hygiene is Ernie going to get into in that van today? P1 Self.
Yeah, I was wondering if Sean has ever seen Criss Angel's Mind Freak, and if so, what he has to say about it. You're wondering if Sean has. Yes. Okay, Sean? Yeah, I saw the last two seasons, and I saw him on Larry King Live, and he was talking about how a lot of the show is just camera trickery and not really illusion, and once I heard that, I stopped watching it. I don't like it anymore. Thank you for calling in to the Sean Hour. P1 Chris, what question do you have for Sean? Please, Sean, do not take this the wrong way. This is an honest-to-God question. Honest-to-God, truthful question. I want to know your thoughts on the new Star Trek game that they're making. Sean, did you know about it? The new Star Trek game? Online. It's like an online game. Video game? Yeah, the new video game. It's supposed to take place, I believe, 25 years after Nemesis, if I remember correctly. I haven't heard about that. Oh, you better look into it, buddy. That sounds very cool. That's big news. Yeah, buddy. He likes it already. Yeah. Yeah, buddy. 25 years after Nemesis. That's awesome. There you go. Sean likes it. Yeah, buddy. Don't talk over me. Okay. Oh, no. Oh, no. Guy just gave you a nice little hint there. Sean, it's dead. All right. Thank you very much for the call. No problem. Not really. Bye.
P1 Fritz. Yeah, hello. Hello. Yeah, how you doing? Good. Yeah, I just wanted to know, I guess, Sky and Eddie saw Tropic Thunder. I want to know what they thought about it. Oh, man, we've been meaning to talk about Tropic Thunder for the last couple of days. Ashley was there, too. Yeah, it was cool. It's 100% worth it just to go for Robert Downey Jr. He is incredible in the movie. Wow. Hysterical, amazing. You'll be blown away. Yeah, like we were talking about yesterday. If they gave stupid comedy movies, Academy Awards, he, Robert Downey Jr., should get one. For sure. If you went into that movie not knowing that was him, I don't think you would ever know it was him until the very end. And then the Tom Cruise part is genius. I loved it. The role he plays is so out of character for Tom Cruise. It's a spectacle. I thought there was a controversy about, like, there's a protest in the movie. What was that all about? It was people, you know, who work for children's charities, for children with special needs. You know, there's a lot of use of the R word.
in regards to special needs children. I'm just kidding. These groups thought that that was very bad taste and wanted people to boycott the movie. The movie's bad taste. That's the whole point. Isn't the whole idea it's politically incorrect? Absolutely. There's a whole scene where Robert Downey Jr., who's supposed to be this five-time Academy Award winner, and he He really knows about acting, and he's telling Ben Stiller, who's kind of like this kind of washed-up action hero, that he went too far on the retarded scale, and you can never go that far if you're trying to win an Academy Award. You can be partially retarded, like Forrest Gump. Or Rain Man. Or Rain Man, but if you go full board like Sean Penn in I Am Sam, you won't win the award. I mean, it's hysterical, but if you take it seriously... It's the people that did something about Mary, right? Well, Ben Stiller directed it. Oh, oh, oh. But it was interesting because the movie company thought they were going to get a lot of flack for Robert Downey Jr. being a black man in the movie and kind of blackface the whole thing. And nobody's really said a peep about that except for how awesome it is. And everybody's obsessing over them using that word. There were black dudes behind us that were hysterically laughing at all of Robert Downey. Everything Robert Downey Jr. said, they were hysterically laughing. That's awesome. Yeah, really good. P1 Scuba. Hey, Mikey.
What's up? Not much. I work with a guy who does not believe in dinosaurs. I want to know what you guys thought of that. He doesn't believe in dinosaurs? Not at all. They have proof. I don't believe in pastries. Wait. Wait, so you believe in dinosaurs? Oh, no. Your issue is the aging of dinosaurs. Aging of dinosaurs. Aging of the Grand Canyon. Aging of all that stuff. I don't believe the Earth is millions of years old. So you believe they existed. You just disagree with the time they existed. The time frame. In fact, my brother just gave me this article that he called Ammo for My Guns. It's from Discover Magazine. And it's this whole article on how scientists were just studying some fossils. And they were realizing that... They were much younger than they had originally thought. But the concept that I think is the most compelling is the concept of, say, the Grand Canyon being millions of years old. And I got this article of a canyon in Texas that was formed in three days' time. And it was this very interesting article, but you just didn't hear very much about it. And it's called Lake Gorge.
In Texas. And it's formed in three days. So, I don't know. It's pretty interesting stuff if you ever want to look it up. P1 Rambo. Yes, sir. What's up? I was calling to see if you guys saw Chad Johnson on SportsCenter talking about Michael Phelps. I did. That was hysterical. What's the deal? What? Are you talking about when he was on PTI? I think it was PTI on SportsCenter this morning when he was saying how there's better swimmers in the ghetto and how he could beat Michael Phelps. Even in the middle of the interview, you could hear Chad Johnson say, don't laugh, it's not funny. Yeah, dude, it was hysterical. Is it really? Yeah, Chad Johnson's pretty funny, man, because they asked him, are you watching the Olympics? And he said, yeah, man, I've been watching Michael Phelps and stuff. And then Tony Kornheiser asked him, Do you believe you can beat Michael Phelps in any kind of swimming race? And he's like, absolutely, man. Because I was the grand ghetto champion. And he named some street that he was on that he would swim in the inner city. And he's like, yeah, I could beat him in that race any day. That is funny. They laughed. And he's like, don't laugh. I'm being serious. Mikey Show, last call. Oh, no. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home.
Hey, I was wondering if Mikey has ever been to the ICR Museum, Institute for Creation Research Museum out in Santee. I have not. It's insane, man. You need to go out there. It talks, you know, all about the Grand Canyon and aging, how they age it, how they should have aged it. It's got a partial replica of like Noah's Ark and models of Noah's Ark. It's very cool, man. You need to check it out. Right on, brother. It's called the ICR out in Santee. Thanks. Have a great day. You too. Love Lane Thompson. Missy is up next today. Austin Found going on for you. You haven't heard these songs in quite a while, and you can even request with her if you want to, so call her up and make a request. And we'll come back and do this all over again tomorrow morning. It'll be Friday. See you at 5.30.
