The show opened with mourning Dave Matthews Band saxophonist Leroy Moore's sudden death at 46 and the Padres sending Greg Maddox to the Dodgers for three prospects, while host Mikey introduced himself and his tattoos. Throughout the hour, the hosts bickered over high school reunion math, debated Y2K memories from a Vermont snowstorm, and joked about Mikey forgetting deodorant while germaphobe Sean panicked, leading to a borrowed Old Spice stick. The broadcast featured the P1 Army bumper sticker game where the gas monkey surprises drivers in San Marcos for a monkey dance and gas cards up to $250, and discussed the Olympics' length with Mikey initially thinking they lasted a month. Sean TV introduced 'From G's to Gents' on MTV, where OGs learn gentlemanly ways, including an art gallery debate that ended with two men kissing, which Sean loved but others found bizarre. The hour concluded with the announcement of seven P1 Hall of Fame inductees at Harrah's Rincon on Sept 5th, packages for fans including a bachelor party with Boston Rob, and a heated debate over Legoland front-of-line passes where a judgmental lady sparked a philosophy on choices and entitlement.

It's an hour break, and we're ready to do it again. It's a Mikey show. It's 6-0-4. Well, this is just horrible. Dave Matthews' band saxophonist, Leroy Moore, died suddenly yesterday at the age of 46. No way. Do you know who it is, like, really well? Please, Mike. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's one of the founding members. Really? Oh, yeah. Oh, that sucks. Yeah, really bad. Well, it's official. The Padres sent Greg Maddox to the Dodgers for three prospects. Was he an older dudes guy? No, he was 46 years old. A couple months ago, he got in an ATV accident out in, I believe it was in Virginia. And he had one of his lungs punctured and broke some ribs. So he was in the hospital for a while, but had just recently come out to his home in L.A. to start doing rehab. And then was just mysteriously readmitted to the hospital. And so nobody knows exactly what happened or why he died.
That's a big part of that band, too, right? Oh, dude. Like, yeah, it's pretty crazy. How long has he been with them? He's a founding member. Oh, really? Yeah. I got to start listening a little bit better. I know you said that. It's okay. Yeah. So, you know, the band had already been performing with Replacement ever since the ATV accident. But, you know, as of this morning, the band has not planned on canceling their show tonight in L.A. or their show on Friday here in San Diego. Yeah. It's actually two days from now, the Friday, this Friday. Yeah, tonight is Los Angeles. Last night and tonight, Los Angeles. And then Friday, San Diego. Yeah, very sad. That sucks. Yeah. 570-1053, the phone number, the text number, 35253. And let's get it rolling. We'll start it up. We'll get the machine off the ground. Get it popping. Yeah, get it popping. Let's see. I'll introduce the seven of us. And then we'll start seeing what's going on in the world. A lot of new headlines. I'm seeing a lot of stuff that I am very interested in finding out about what it all means. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 38. I have tattoos. In fact, my right arm is almost completely sleeved. And it's not done. It isn't done yet, but I'm considering finishing it.
I got one guy that does all the work that I do. His name is Brent. And he's at a new tattoo shop. And so I'm thinking of looking him up and having him do some more stuff. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 35 years old. And he is, Eddie, do you ever get emails, high school reunions, your high school reunion? Yours is probably since you're three years behind me. Probably three years away. But did you get any info on your tenure? Yeah, I did. I didn't do anything with it. Three years, you'll have a 20-year reunion. I can't be right. You're doing the math incorrectly. Oh, my gosh. That is correct. I'm not that old. Yeah, in three years, you will have been out of high school for 20 years. No. Wow. That's incorrect.
Punch him in the mouth. That is an incorrect statement. How is that possible? Well, it's not. How could that be? How could that be? I just got pictures from my high school reunion. And I'm like, man, those guys look old. That already happened? Yeah. Oh, wow. It was like a weekend or two ago. And I'm looking at the pictures. I'm going, man, that dude's, who's that? And I'm like, it's you, dum-dum. You're in the mirror. Oh, wow. They're all people you went to high school with. Old. I'm like, but I thought she was 17. Not anymore. Man, last time I saw that dude, he was like, he could barely grow a mustache. Now he can barely walk. That's right. You know what I mean? Skye is our news girl. She is 30 years of age. She's still young. I think 30's pretty young. Yeah? At 38, I think 30's pretty young. Skye, I was 30 when we went to Dallas. Can you believe that? That was eight years ago? How's that possible? We went to Dallas in the year 2000. Eddie, that was eight years ago. I know, it seems like about two years ago. Again, you're doing the math incorrectly. He must be. That makes sense.
Almost a decade ago. Stop it. That's classic. I mean, first the news about the saxophonist and the Dave Matthews band. I'm reeling. It's a tough day. I can't do this. Doesn't it feel, in a lot of ways, like you went... Yeah. Think about it. As you're driving right now, where were you when the new millennium was coming up? Junior in high school. Y2K. Putting all the cans down in my Y2K shelter. Yeah. Saving up bottled water. Buying software to make sure my computer wouldn't, you know, because I knew it was going to explode. Oh, yeah. It was going to come after me with a knife and stab me. And stab you to death. Dude, I was in Jay Peak, Vermont, which is like the border of Canada. And it's in the middle of nowhere. We got this cabin up on this like huge mountain. It's like a triple black diamond. So you can't you can't see. anyone for miles, you know what I mean? Unless people are coming out to go ski. And there's a horrible snowstorm that hit that night. So the next day, none of us knew. Like, there was no TV up there. If the world was dead. Yeah, none of us knew. And we drove up to Montreal to, like, see if there were people still around. It was a trip, man. Yeah. And you were so, like, you must have breathed a real sigh of relief when you found out that people were still alive. I really was. Bob was 12 then, by the way.
Going on 12. Yeah. Let's see. Shawnee, oh boy. Oh, Shawnee. He's our sound effects guy. Six foot three or four. Real tall. Young when she had him, so. Yeah. Okay. All right. Relax. Relax. Relax. Okay. Relax. Yes, she is. I mean, when you think about it, comparatively, especially. Is she pretty? Well, the conversation's over now. She's gorgeous. She's a beautiful woman. Beautiful lady. Yeah. Beautiful lady. Gorgeous. What is that? I know, but what's that face? Have you said something offensive? Nobody said anything offensive. He's getting all upset. I know how these things go. You start down this path, and the next thing you know, Eddie wants to have sex with her. Oh, no. Who would say to marry me? I would never say anything about her in various states. I mean, nobody went there. Come on. Nobody's gone. Nobody's gone now. Eddie. See what I'm saying? Went over the line there.
Who did? You. Why? Oh, you said. What do you mean, why? I don't know why. I didn't hear that. You're the only one that can answer why. Everybody was talking. It went by real fast. I don't know. Who said why? You should move on in that way. Who said that? Ashley is our assistant producer, and she is 25 years old. Looks like she's got on some sort of shawl. We're rocking today. Yes, you can call it that. Yeah, it's kind of like a... Tajmir, Nitshall. Hey, Sean? Yeah, yes. Eddie? Yeah. How do you guys deal with this one? What's up? Oh, no. Oh, no. This is... Oh, gosh. For the record. Oh, boy. I don't like how this has started.
I forgot to wear deodorant to work again yesterday. Stop it. This was yesterday. Oh, yeah. She announced that to me in the middle of our walk out in the 90 degree. I forgot to wear deodorant to work again yesterday. It was an accident. You're a bad person. And then slept the night at the honey's and this morning realized I forgot to bring deodorant. Sean's a germaphobe. So for two days. Hang on. Well, hang on. Give her a chance. You relax. Give her a chance. She's not done. So, I borrowed... Don't say his. Don't say his. That's men's deodorant. His... High Endurance Old Spice Stick. It's something like that. It smells manly. We shall see if it works.
Send her home. That's not fair. You couldn't go to the drugstore and buy some? Let me tell you something. She's pretty. She's 25 years old, but I'll tell you what. She's got a screw loose. She's something else. She's something else, that one. She's good. see anything wrong with wearing your man's deodorant. I think it's kind of nice because then you smell like your dude and you're reminded of him. I feel love for him all day. Subconsciously, you're like, oh. It's like when you wear his sweatshirt. You smell him. He smells good. It's my man in my pits. Those are his armpits in your armpits. That's right. Why are you screaming? I'm screaming at the top of his lungs. I don't want to make assumptions, but I assume they kiss with tongue. I don't think their armpits rubbing the same item is really a big deal. Women are way too mature. You've got a lot of problems. You know, if you women could just be a little more immature, you'd get it. You'd understand. But your maturity level is too high. It's too high. I apologize. It's too high.
Kissing is comparable to rubbing your dirty, sweaty, sweat glands all over each other. Okay, first of all, I put it on when I first got out of the shower. I'll tell you what, let's move on. Let's just, let's move on. You could relax, it'd be great. Infection all over the place. Boston Rob. Boston Rob. I wasn't going to hang on. Look at his face, he's so irritated. He's so upset right now. All right, all right. Boston Rob is 25 years of age. He's engaged. He's our man about town. This week and only this week, in fact, ending Friday, he is the gas monkey. Friday's the last day. Today he hits North County, San Marcos area. Between 9 and 10 a.m. today, gas monkeys out there.
I saw some of those Mikey Show P1 bumper stickers out yesterday. Did you? Awesome. You can get them at Cricket. And you can get them here at the radio station too. But it's worth it to put it on your car because the gas monkey's out there looking for you with the new sticker on your car. Got to have the new Mikey Show P1 Army sticker on your car. And if you do, gas monkey hauls you over. He gets out in a monkey suit. He does a little monkey dance. And then he hands you a bunch of bananas and he has you pick one. And then tape to the banana. Gas cards. And those gas cards are worth anywhere from $25 to $250. And the odds have gone up. We've increased the odds. Because we're only doing this until the end of the week. So today, San Marcos, 9 to 10. Be out there. Looking for the gas monkey. Let's see. And finally, there is Roosevelt, Zethian, Oates, the third.
Junior. Esquire. M.D. Rosie. Rosie. Rosie. That's our boy Zeth. And he is 23. He's always crying. No, not always. He's always crying. I mean, there were those few times. Oh. Not always. Not always. He's 23. We love him. And we kid because we care. Yes. 570-1053 is our phone number. So call us at the beginning and end of every show. Open phones. You can call about anything you want. And comment, ask questions. Nobody's texted me from the show about the Olympics. So I'm guessing that everything's cool. Nothing cool's gone on yet. I'm waiting. I know something. Maybe tonight. thinking about it. I mean, because you go to bed early. So you want us to text you. I'll set the Tebow. So even if it's after your nighty-night time hours? Like 10 at night? No, not 10 at night. Now you've got to text me. That's how late it happens. I get what you're saying. You're finding it at that time, right? You don't know. That's when the big stuff goes on, man. You've got to stay up. Maybe I'll just set it. Just say, hey, tape it. We'll see what happens. That's what I did. I season past it.
We just got a few nights left, Mike. No, come on. Is it Sunday? Is the closing ceremonies or something? No way, Jose. I thought I read that here. Let me double check before people start yelling at me. I didn't realize that the Olympics were that short. I thought they were around for like a month. Two weeks. Oh no, it's been longer than that. Three weeks. Four weeks. Still haven't seen those opening ceremonies. Oh, man. I heard they were great. Dude, they're so awesome. If you didn't know, it cost $75 billion. Oh, my gosh. It's true. 800 million. It's 800 million. Gabillion. Not one phone line ringing right now. There isn't? Seriously, I'm wondering if the transmitter's on. Are we on the air? We might have to.
Look, Ashley's really checking. She's genuinely checking. Just making sure. We're on. We're good. I'm just going to curse and find out if we're really on. Just do it. Do it. Let it go. I'm just kidding. Call Blunder. Just do it. He answers the phone like that. Yeah. 570-1053. A couple phone lines ringing now. People calling to say hi. It's a very emotional day in my shrink's office yesterday. But she's a super shrink, super shrink. She's super shrinking. She's a super shrink, super shrink. She's super shrinking. We were talking about stuff that's gotten me down. She's a very kinky girl. It's where the song takes kind of a turn. It does.
Was it appropriate? Yeah, I have been feeling very separated from God. Really? Yeah. There's reason for it. And so we were talking about that. And we were talking about what it takes to get back connected. So we were going through all that. And we were talking about... We didn't hit too much on my childhood yesterday. Which has a lot to do with everything. It's very all connected in a symbiotic kind of relationship. So there's that. 570-1053. Let's take some of your calls. See what you're up to. P1 Paul. Yes, how are you doing, Mikey? I'm doing good. Just wanted to tell you I saw your friend George Takai on Want to Make a Bet last night.
Ladies and gentlemen, Count Dracula on the line. You saw my friend George Takai last night? Yeah, yeah. He was on the I Want to Make a Bed show last night. What happened to your accent? What happened to your Romanian accent? I don't know. What are you talking about? Let the romance begin. Is this Dimitri? He bit an Italian. That's right. What was George Takai betting on last night? $50 for a guy swinging a tractor tire around. How many ping-pongs he can fit in his mouth? You win, George. I'm going to bet you could put 75 men on that tractor. Let's see if you can. So how many did they fit on the tractor? No, he was like...
He's been in the tire tractor around like a hula hoop. Oh. Yeah, he didn't do it, but George, you know, he's got like $25,000 to bet with. And he bet that the guy would fail, which he did. And he bet a whole $50. So everybody was looking at him like, are you kidding me? Goofy shop. Idiot. That's funny. And then the guy doesn't do it. And you're viewing that. You're like, oh, why should I watch that? I'm going to bed. Anything in the fridge? You guys have those anything in the fridge moments? There's just nothing in there. Every day. But the weirdest thing is, we all do this, the weirdest thing is, you go check it again, there's still nothing in there. You always hope that there's going to be something good in there. There's never anything good. Well, you look and then you go back there like 10 minutes later thinking like somebody went to KFC magically.
That would be great. And stuck it in there. But it isn't in there. Yeah. And you're looking and it's not there. I always do that with dessert, you know, because I don't buy dessert because I shouldn't eat dessert. But then I always go looking for it. So then I try and make like concoctions. Like I make like homemade things like the other night. I made a tortilla and put cinnamon and sugar on it. Butter, cinnamon, and sugar. That sounds good. Yeah. Made myself a little homemade churro. Sure. Yes. Was it good? Yeah, it turned out really good. But yeah, I'll do that. Now I'll try and make concoctions. I'll try and find things that shouldn't belong together, but whatever. My wife is good at that. Yeah. Last night she made, she didn't make a concoction. She made those chicken skewers. Eddie would not have enjoyed because they had bell pepper on them. That sounds delish. Really, Sean? Yes, I love bell pepper. Really? Lick your face. Let's see. P1 Sean, what's up? Hi. Hi. P1 Sean. What's up? Am I on the air? Yes. Hey, I was just having a question about the 10-year reunion, you know, 20-year thing. I was wondering what happens to people like me that got a GED.
School is too slow for me. I'm too smart. I got a GED too. I'm wondering, do you crash? No, man, I still get invited. I still get on the email list and everybody still wants me there because they know I was in the class of 88. It's not a people that graduated reunion. It's a class of 88 reunion. And they all are, really. It's not about who graduated. It's about who was in the class. And so if you were to get in contact with whoever it is that organizes it, they'd want you there. For whoever was getting the GEDs at that time? Yeah, man, I got a GED. I didn't graduate. I'm graduating today. Well, that's great, Junior, but I didn't. Nobody asked you. Nobody asked you anyway. I'm not retiring. That's Junior Seau. We know that. We've heard it. You held a press conference. I'm graduating today. Okay, great. Show off? Anyway, yeah, I did the same thing you did. I got a GED, never graduated from high school. Wow, yeah, because I'm 22, and I always look forward to getting GED. I mean, I always look forward to going to a reunion. You're very distracted right now. What are you doing? Driving my car, but I just parked. You have a Bluetooth on? Yeah, I got the Bluetooth on. I can turn it off.
No, no, no. I was just wondering. You got to have the Bluetooth. Yeah, it's very good. Yeah. Otherwise, you're a criminal. Yep. You don't have the Bluetooth. We would do that. Okay. Jerks. Get that Bluetooth, kids. There you go. All right, Sean. Thank you. Yeah. See ya. What's up, Frank? Hey, what's going on? This is Mikey. Yes, it is. Hey, I called you last week about the overbearing mother. I was the guy that told you that. We told him I'm pretty much, you know, my way, highway. You're right. Hey, I've been listening to you a long, long time, bro. Back in, like, 97, 98, when you were on the air at night, at 7, I think. When I was a shock jock. Yeah, he's a shock jock. I'm shocked. That guy on the night. None of the weed are jokes. That guy's shocking. Every once in a while, he says the word for China. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Shocking. Uh-huh. Hey, you did some skits. Remember, I think he called it the Muppet Outtakes? No, the Sesame Street Outtakes. Sesame Street. Okay, I was wrong. Yeah. And you also did the, with a Crocodile Hunter, captured a gang member? Yes. Crocodile Hunter in Oakland. I've ever heard. Yeah. Well, ever since Sesame Street got canceled and the Croc Hunter got stabbed by a stingray, we thought, you know, what's the point of that stuff?
Hey, but it's that one. You can't tell me it's too early. What's that? You can't tell me Steve Irwin's too early. Too early. No, it's been long enough. It's been long enough. It still hurts, but it's been long enough. 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. I checked, Mike. Yes, the closing ceremonies are on Sunday. Already? So get on it, bro. Sunday. I'm just going to start. I'll tape it all. This is a great day to start, Mike, because Kerry Walsh and Misty Mae Chenner are in the finals tonight. In what? In beach volleyball. And they're insanely good. I don't want to watch beach volleyball. It's actually pretty good. I watched volleyball the other day and I was bored to tears. Why is beach volleyball better? It's the same thing. It's just in sand. It's a team of two. And these guys, Carrie and Misty, they're so good. You're going to be baffled. That dude who's seen Bolt, he's running in the finals today of the 200 meter.
Do you think that'd be on tonight? Yeah, it will be on tonight. It's a big night to watch. I'll email my wife and ask her to set the TiVo. She's better at that than I am. Hey, Mikey, did you guys see the Paraguayan female javelin thrower? She's gorgeous. It's P1 Rude Dog. You saw her? Oh, yeah. You did? Oh, yeah. She was on Yahoo or something. Yahoo. Amazing. She's gorgeous. Where is Paraguay? Who knows? The women there? Beautiful. They're in pretty land. 35253 is our text number. God just put it in my heart to tell you why I'm feeling separated from him. He feels that I was being a little bit irresponsible by just saying that and leaving it there. Sin. Yeah. Sin separates me from God. And I took my pain meds longer than I should have. Really? It's been six weeks. Are you still taking them or you're done? That's good. As long as I had pain. I had pain, but it wasn't physical pain. It was emotional pain. So I was taking them and it was numbing me out. And he's good at that. But I was like, no, I'll take the pills instead. Percocet will be better. And it wasn't.
separated me from them. So yeah, so my, what I'm supposed to do is really trust them and go, all right, I'm not going to take them. So I finally did like a baby, like a big baby. And I was like, no, I don't want to, I don't want to. And then finally I was like, all right, I'll do it. And I knew it was going to happen. I knew I was going to feel this intense, you know, sort of physical pain slash jonesing for the medication. Cause I know me, I know what it's like. I've been there. Even though my wife was doling them out to me, I knew I was going to have this thing where I needed them really bad. And I didn't because I trusted them. Because I went, all right, I'll do it your way. And he was like, bling. That's good. Yeah. So now I got bling bling. Money ain't a thing. Yeah. Mikey, you should add DDS after Zeth's name to text message. Wow. Oh, boy. That's a dentist, right? Yeah.
M-D-D-D-S. We have officially added D-D-S. So he is now Zethian. He is now Roosevelt. Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, M-D-D-D-S. Rosie. The never-ending name. We gotta knight him at some point. Sir Roosevelt. Yes. Yeah, maybe he should. Can we knight him right now? Well, let's call the queen and maybe we can arrange something. I don't think we have the power to do that. We are not allowed to. We can get her on the phone. Yeah, let's do that. And then he'll be Sir Roosevelt. But we got to wait until the queen says it's all good. Mikey, with Sean's phobia, does he ever kiss his wife? Great question. He's a germaphobe. Sean? Yes, I do. He does. I can answer this question. I know why he does this. I know why he does this. The reason is because he has seen her cleaning practices. And so he knows that she's a clean person. She uses bleach as lipstick. It's the new Clorox flavored chapstick. It's really great.

25 points. Here is some of the text messages that we're getting. You tell Sky to fry the tortilla before the cinnamon and sugar. That sounds awesome. Oh, yes. Now you've just made, like, cinnamon crispas. Yeah, I don't fry it, but what I did is, you know, I put it in, like, a skillet, basically full of butter, and just kind of crisp it in the butter, and then sprinkle. It's basically frying. Is that basically frying? Oh, yeah. Okay, and it was grabbing. Sounds good. Mikey, you can catch up on the Olympics on NBC.com. Full coverage on all events. I'm in. Mikey, is it too late to get the P1 sticker? No, it is not. You can get it at cricket wireless locations or here at the radio station. Guess who just walked onto the court with the U.S. Olympic basketball team? Kobe Bryant. Now, is he hurt, injured, not playing? Was that Kobe Bryant? Yeah, he's on the team. He's on the team?
Did they just win? They just won 116-85. I didn't even know if he was on. Dwayne Wade, right? Kobe Bryant. LeBron. LeBron James. Carmelo. Dwight Howard. Jason Kidd. Chris Paul. They're loaded. Every young all-star is on the team right now. That'd be cool if they were all on a real team in America. They'd be very competitive. They'd win all the time. Mikey, has anyone ever heard from P1 John Doe? I bet that guy. Who cares? He says, I remember him going to Iraq, then there was no news forever. That's P1 Pirate. I didn't even remember that. I didn't remember that either. You don't remember? Uh-uh. He said he was going to Iraq for like six months to do something there, some kind of construction or something. Really? Uh-huh. Yeah, John Doe was Sky's nemesis. Yuck. He lived in San Jose, and he used to call us at KSGO, but then he listened to us online. He would every once in a while call in here. And we always know him because he would start every call by saying, Hey Mike, how's the guitar that I dropped off for you a while back working out for you? That's P1JM. I'm really glad that this guy texted because I never was able to get a hold of whoever dropped that squire off. It's really cool, dude. Really cool. And the dude that's teaching me guitar, I showed it to him and he thought it was really cool and we both did and I appreciate it and it's really nice.
Yeah, so cool. It was a guitar that he wasn't using, so he just dropped it off. It was really nice. Did you say Billy Squire? No, it was not Billy Squire. That's pretty cool, man. It was not a Billy Squire. That is nice. Let's see. Mikey, be sure to watch the BMX racing. First time ever in the Olympics. That's P1 race crank. I didn't know. That sounds more like an extreme Olympics or X Games. X Games. That's what I would have thought. You know, I got a little some issues with some of these. Here we go. I'm sorry, Sky, but, you know, trampoline and BB guns and, you know, BMX racing. You're going to upset me. It's great. It's great. It's great. For the record, it's great. But then they're going to get rid of baseball, softball. No MMA. These are legitimate sports that are gigantic. I don't understand. The other ones are not legitimate at all. That is Sean King. Sean King. I don't believe that those sports should be in the Olympics. I don't think that BMX... Be careful. You don't want to deal with this. I disagree with everything they're saying. You're all wonderful. I don't believe...
That BMX should be in there. I don't believe that those different sports should be in there. And the only reason I don't is because they're... Well, let me rephrase. I'll really clarify this. I'll clarify this super, super well. Please. They can put twiddling your thumbs in the Olympics. Really, for all I care. Just don't telecast it. And the reason I say that is because the stuff that should be telecast should be the most popular stuff. Because that's what people want to see. But you could have twiddling your thumbs in the Olympics for all I care. Are you going to have NASCAR? You know, I mean, is NASCAR going to be an Olympic sport? Why would that not be any different? I mean, it wouldn't be any different, right? What's the difference without a BMX? Sure. And he's right. Next thing you know, they're going to have Guitar Hero in there. Yeah. And that's ridiculous. What about bowling? Is bowling an Olympic sport? Should be. It should be. Well, they got ping pong. It's a sport. That was stupid. I think some people would consider darts like, you know, a sport. Where's skeeball? Yeah, she's right there. No, no, no. Why isn't skeeball an Olympic sport? See what you're saying. Donkey Kong, that should be a sport, right? Poker. Oh, now you're talking. Oh, yes. I'm an Olympian.

That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them.
You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the AC rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtekron.com. The finer points of the art. This is awful. And here, Creeper and E6 go at it. I choose Creeper to battle. He's the one with the least speech abilities. Okay. Oh, Lord. I mean, we got the Hall of Fame we need to get to. I don't think I want to hear this. People are dying to find out who is the next inductee. Oh, well, that'll have to wait, Eddie. We'll get to that. Don't you worry. I'll have to wait because I have been just sitting here coming out of my skin waiting to hear this story. My best friend of over 20 years, you have to know, is the biggest guy's guy on planet Earth. I mean, without a doubt. I don't know that I've ever met a guy's guy that's a guy's guy more than Eddie. And there are certain things Eddie just won't do.
And yesterday, I think that he may have crossed that line with himself. What happened? Listen, Mike, I vowed many times I will never buy tampons. I recall that. For anybody. You know, this is not going to happen. I feel in my heart of hearts that women, you need to be prepared. You know this comes every month. Right. And if I knew this was happening to me, I would never be without. Right. Like, that's the last thing I would want. Yeah. Why not just buy a whole bunch? Go Costco. Get a giant tub. Well, yeah, you run out. And then you run out. You know what? When you get low, the month before, you go, oh, yeah, I got good more of that. Well said. Oh, it's like another woman in the room. Oh, that's hilarious. I mean, that's how they think. Anyway. So, it's just not, you know, I'm sorry. You're a grown. Woman, you can go get your own personal hygiene things, okay? Yeah. It's just my thing. It's a personal feeling I have. So we were at the store, me and my wife, and shopping around, having a good time, you know? And she needed to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy there. So she was standing in line. It was taking forever. I said, well, why don't I just go pay for these groceries, and, you know, you'll do that thing, and we'll meet up at the car. Sounds like a great plan, Eddie. Good job.
So I go to the checkout counter and I'm starting to unload stuff onto the conveyor belt. And to my horror, I look down and I see a box of Tampax. Every guy listening right now. And I went, how did that get in there? What's going on? Every guy that's listening right now, just put yourself there. Just imagine that. And there's a young girl. checkout person. And I just, I panic. I panic. Like I consider, should I put it in the candy? She'll see it. Bury it under some Snickers. I don't know what to do. And so I say, okay, well, I'm pot committed. Oh, wow. So I put it on that conveyor belt. You touch the box? Yeah. First time ever.
It was uncomfortable. I hated it. And I just put my head down and I said, well, this is it, guy. Here we go. You're done. And I was humiliated. How about at the moment that she grabbed it off the conveyor belt? I had my head down. I didn't look. I would not make eye contact. I would not make eye contact. I know him well enough to know that is a true statement. It is true. I would not make eye contact with her. Because she would have judged me. No. Oh, she was judging. Yes, she was. I'm judging right now. What a great husband. I'm never going back to that grocery store again. You shouldn't. I'm not going to. I'm not going to. I don't think you're allowed. Yeah, you're probably right. Because you know that when she picked it up, she was like, whoa, how weird. He's buying tampons. He's like, where's your red book and your training bra? No. No. Whatever. It was the worst experience of my life. I'm very proud of you. Shut your mouth. I don't want you to be proud of me. I mean, this is the first step. It was a baby step. It was out of my hands. There's going to be more to come. There will never be. There'll be a time where it's written on the list, you're standing in the aisle, and you have to try and decide which one on the shelf to put in the car. I will never do that. I will never, ever, ever, ever. Samantha, Charlotte, Carrie. What are you doing? I'm asking. Samantha, Charlotte.
Carrie. Miranda. Miranda. What is that? Which one of the Sex and the City girls are you? I'm just wondering. Charlotte. I'm going to say Charlotte. First and last. Yes. First time, last time. I don't appreciate this from any of you people. She'd be on top of it. Come on. It was the worst experience of my life. I will never do that. What about the time your sister tried to drown you? I would rather do that. Not Miranda? No, I'm definitely going Carrie. What are you saying? You be quiet over there. This is the first step, bro. I'm very proud of you. Why are you saying that? Because I think that's great that you've taken a step. It's not a step. It was out of my hands. And like I said, next time you'll be able to take them off. Actually, it was in your hands. Oh, wow. Really? You too? That's true. You guys, lay off. It's obviously... Thanks, buddy. Hold on. Tread lightly. Back off, Eddie. Eddie, it stings more when it's him. He's saving me off. It's obviously his time of the month. Oh, we got to respect that.
He's got Rob. They're wrestling. That's fantastic. I was trying to protect you. You're emotional right now. Actually, you got any might all? Maybe some chocolate. Maybe he needs some chocolate. I don't know what they fiend for. Unfortunately, we have to move on. You could attract bears now. That's dangerous. Rob, last one. That better be the last one. This is what I didn't want to have happen. Man. Well, then let's just let this be the final words. Thank you. 570-1053. This will not carry through the show. One more final word and then that's it. I don't want this to happen. This will be my final words and then we're moving on. 3-5-2-5-3. And now we have to move on. You know what you're doing. P1 Hall of Fame broadcast, ladies and gentlemen, is going to be one of the biggest things that we've ever done on the Mikey Show, period. It's going to be at Harrah's Rincon. Thursday, September 4th, we play poker together. The morning of Friday, September 5th, we do one of the biggest broadcasts we've ever done. It's the Hall of Fame induction broadcast. That morning, we will be inducting seven people in the Mikey Show P1 Hall of Fame.
And these are our biggest listeners. People that have showed that they are more committed to the Mikey Show than the regular person. And they go above and beyond. And they're going to be presented with a Mikey Show P1 Army Hall of Fame jacket. They are going to have their name inscribed on a plaque that will go in the studio. It will be here as long as we're here. So at least a couple more years. They get a plaque themselves. Now, the cool thing is that this broadcast, you can get in on it and anybody can come out to it and watch the P1 Hall of Fame broadcast at Harrah's Rincon. It's going to be so much fun. I'm anticipating it like a mini vacation. Me too. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. It's going to be great. We do have a couple of packages that people can buy. More on that in just a minute. But now it's time to let you know who our third.
inductee is... Ladies and gentlemen, the third announcement for an inductee into the 2008 class of the P1 Hall of Fame is P1 T-Rex. T-Rex, call in. Call us, T-Rex. T-Rex, call us. T-Rex is easily one of the biggest P1s that we've ever had. He's been here since the beginning, too. Space Boy, Quimby, and today T-Rex is being announced. You've heard his name a million times. You've heard him wanting to know if Sean got his gifts. Some of his accomplishments. Eight million. Oh, I'm sorry. It's not eight million. He comes to just about every event. Oh, yeah. He always coaches me. Coaches Rob and our challenges. Yeah. Didn't work out. Isn't really helping, but great coach.
He calls in all the time, participates, wore a panda suit at the 28-hour show broadcast. He did. Which was hysterical. I mean, it was like an hour after it had been announced that Sean was once a fervor. Yeah, that's right. And outside our window is T-Rex in a panda suit. Genius. T-Rex. What's up, guys? There he is. How you doing, T-Rex? No, you didn't. You're in, dude. Oh, my gosh. T-Rex, you're in, man. You're in. Oh, that's so awesome. Did we get your jacket size? Yes, we did. Okay. I talked to Smash. Actually, Smash gave me a call. Nice. I got a voicemail on my phone and it said Rock 105.3. So I looked at it and said, Smash, I call. I said, okay. So I was about to call her back. Before I can even call her back, she called me back. And you know how you say, Mikey, I'm so nervous right now. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Awesome. So, anyway, I was on my way. I was cruising on Camino Reef and Gold Coast. And so, Smasher called me back. And I said, hey, what's going on? She's like, hey, I got something to ask you. Oh, actually, I asked her.
oh, no, I haven't picked up my gas car yet. I need to get down there and pick up my gas car. She said, oh, no, it's not about the gas car. So I think you have been inducted to the Mikey Show Hall of Fame. I was like, no, you've got to be lying. And she said, no, I just need your jacket size, and we're good to go. That's awesome. Oh, my gosh. Awesome. That is awesome, dude. We're going to have so much fun, T-Rex. Come on. You deserve it, brother. Hey, I appreciate it, guys. This is so cool. That's right. It's so awesome. Well, T-Rex, thank you for everything you've done for the show, and we will have a jacket with your name on it, literally. Awesome. That sounds cool. Thank you. That sounds really cool. I can't wait for the event. All right, brother. Thank you. Hey, thanks, guys. Take care. We'll see you. Nice. Yeah, we're going to have on the back of the jackets, it will say their P1 name. So it'll say P1 T-Rex on the back of the jacket. So cool. The jacket is amazing. It's so cool. In fact, we'll get it posted on the web pretty soon so you can see what that thing's going to look like. Really an amazing thing. And T-Rex, he deserves it for sure. He really deserves it. And it'll be fun to see all of them out there being presented with these jackets. Now, let me tell you a little bit. And by the way, all of the...
And inductees, all seven of them, will be put up that weekend at Harrah's Rincon. Well, at least for that period for the broadcast. And we're stoked that Harrah's is doing that for us. So it's going to be cool. So a couple of packages you could buy if you want to take part in, if you want to roll VIP for this thing. Here's what we're talking about. We're talking about a... Package for $149.99 and a package for $299.99. And here is what you do. If you want the $149.99, what it'll give you is, first of all, a seat in the poker tournament. Second of all, a night's stay at Harrah's Rincon at a reduced rate. Third of all, it will give you a full breakfast buffet style the next morning. Hot breakfast, eggs, ham. For sure, we're confirmed. Stop it. Are you sure? Grow up. I mean, you would have assumed so, right? I assume. Pam! Toast. All right. Pam! Good stuff. That will be, you'll get that breakfast on Friday morning. And if you buy the $2.99.99 package, you get a seat in the poker tournament. You get a second night stay. So you get one plus another. So two nights stay at Harrah's Rincon. You get the breakfast and...
You're going to party with us, with Boston Rob at his bachelor party. Yeah. Now, I just want everybody to know that that bachelor party is open to everybody as well. They should have jiu-jitsu, though. It's P1 Flying Hawaiian. Sorry. Sorry for wanting that. Mikey, my boyfriend is absolutely mortified by tampons. He would never, ever buy them. Poor Eddie. That's P1 Angela. Thank you for understanding my pain. Mikey, I had to buy my best friend's sister tampons and deliver them to school for her. It was horrible. That's P1G. What the heck? No. Why would you do it? Mikey, what was the conversation with Debra and the car like when they were leaving the store? Didn't go so well. Really? Well, I had to explain to her that that was uncool, that she just stealthily put that in there and humiliated. So you're going to shame her for menstruating? Absolutely. You are the worst. Well, it's your weakness, not mine. It's not a weakness. It's a danger, bro. Poor woman. Mikey, did Eddie's mom need to come pick him up?
from work. That's P1 Confidence from TJ. Two references in there. Two references in there. Great. Oh, jeez. Next thing you know, they're going to be asking what kind of pill paste is he buying? to let them show the true colors are beautiful like a rainbow. Look out, Buckley. 105.3. 744. Jessica Simpson has signed on to be a spokesmodel and partial owner of a Dallas brewery. I guess the eight-strike rule doesn't apply here. Because the Bengals have re-signed wide receiver Chris Henry. That is not a true story, and I don't believe you. It is 100% true. I believe that you are making things up. Listen, Mike, I mean, you can, you know, I made a couple mistakes in his day. Eddie? You know, everybody deserves a ninth chance. No, no, no, no, no. He's not kidding. Oh, my gosh. Chris Henry.
Nine chances? Got arrested eight times. Oh, well. The last time, they finally cut him. But they've had injuries to Chad Johnson and T.J. Hushmanzada. So now they've asked him to return. Enjoy. Wow. I hope that he stays out of trouble. Yeah, I'm sure he will. Because he's a very talented guy. He is. I mean, he's so talented, but, man, he gets in a lot of trouble. A lot. Let's see. So, I'm going to tell you this story, and I want to see what you guys, I'm going to take your temperature on this. Which way? Under your arm. Okay. Here's what happened. So, my wife went to Legoland with her mom and her best friend, Jamie, who flew in from out of town. Who's very anti-establishment. Her friend Jamie is very anti-establishment. Won't drink at Starbucks. She's the best. You know, has to practically grow her own beans for coffee. So it was Rebecca and my almost two-year-old son, Jake, and my mother-in-law and Jamie. They go to Legoland and they buy the front-of-the-line pass.
The only other time I've experienced it is at Universal Studios. And it completely changed the experience. There's no waiting in line. You go right to the front of the line in a separate line. They have like these two rows. You go to the front of the line and you get right through. So they're standing there and they're at the bar. They're going to ride a little ride, like a little roller coaster ride. That's not a roller coaster, but like a train or something, you know? And they're next. So they're standing at this bar, you know? But they walked right up to the bar. Front of the line. On the right-hand side is a big, long, giant line. There's a little boy in the front of the line in the, you know, waiting in line line. And he goes, that's not fair. So they get on the thing. Did they flip him off? No, but Rebecca says, obviously, it's very uncomfortable. She said, because the mom doesn't say anything. But she could tell the mother is steaming.
So they go on the ride and when they're getting off the ride, she says, the woman, the woman with the kid says to Jamie, I think I just have to let you know that I think that it's really terrible that you guys are doing this. I think it's terrible that you guys are buying that pass and getting on and going in front of other people. And, you know, Jamie doesn't want any part of it. So Jamie's like, oh, yeah, yeah, just because just wants to get away from the lady. And Rebecca, you know, obviously heard it all going on. She wanted to know what I thought about it. So the lady was mad at them, not at the park for offering it. All right. That's crazy. All right. Now the kid is hearing all of this. And my thought was, I thought it was a pretty good opportunity to explain to a kid that in life, there are some things that are
not in our control. And that those people that are in that line, they're no better or no worse than we are. But the first thing that came to my mind was that her son, I felt, first of all, I felt terrible for her son, mostly because I felt like she wasn't taking the opportunity to explain that this is life. But the other reason that I was hurt was I thought to myself, her son, is no better than my son. And that's what hurt me about it. Because whether she realized it or not, she was making a judgment about us. And she didn't know anything about us. Just like, perhaps, like if we were different people, we would look over at the people in line having to wait for the line. And we might go, oh, look at the little people waiting in line.
But we don't and we're not like that. My wife didn't say anything to anybody. But this woman made a judgment and she said it to my wife. Now, there was another part of it that I thought of, too. And that is that I've said this many times that I feel that we're living in an age of entitlement. And the first thing that came to my mind was there was a feeling of. You shouldn't be able to have that. And I have actually heard that thought resonate from the gang community oftentimes feels like you don't deserve it. Like kind of the rap music and all that stuff kind of perpetuates this thought of I got to get mine. I got to get mine. I don't have to work for it. I don't have to do anything for it. If I have to rob it, I'll be a hero.
But I got to get mine. Cash rules everything around me. Who is that? Wu-Tang. Okay. Can you make the money, money, make the crops? Now, I got to tell you something. That stuff right there, what she's singing, that stuff is consumed like food. If you eat carrots and chicken breast. Talk about it. You're going to get healthy. You're going to be thin. And if you eat McDonald's and fries, you look like me. No. Come on. I'm just kidding. That's not true. I've lost some LBs. Yeah, you have. But I stopped eating. My mom noticed that. I stopped eating. What, does she look online? She saw a picture of you. She's like, what is different about Mikey? Oh, that was a whole different conversation. But she thinks you look good. Did he get a chin job? No. He did not recognize you. She's like, who is that? Is that Marcus? Okay. Well said.
What's going on with him? I'm like, Mom, I mean, he's tan and he's lost some weight. You got to see her face when she does it. That must be one of those. He looks different. Hey, who is this anyway? Oh, man. So, anyway. Anyway. This was a big topic of conversation in our house. It's a big topic of conversation. And I want to know, what do people think? What do people think about those front-of-the-line passes? Because some people really, you know, they don't like them. Eddie. Well, I think it's really weird that that lady would take that tact. Like, that's really weird. Like, why get mad at the people that get the front-of-the-line pass? Because it's not their fault. They're buying something that the park offers. Now, do I think that... I don't know. It's kind of like a fair thing for me, I guess. If I was a little kid and I saw somebody get in the front of the line thing, I would probably think that that's not fair. And I would probably think, oh, that person's so lucky. I wish I could have that. But if the park is offering it, then that's their right to buy it. Do I think it's kind of fair that they have that? Not really.
I kind of think that everybody should go through the exact same thing. But if it's offered, then you should be able to buy it. Sky. Yeah, I agree with Eddie. I don't think that anyone should ever... you know, make a judgment call about a person who purchases it. But yeah, but I don't, I do not think it's cool of the parks to offer this. The first time I heard about it, I think somebody was telling me about, I don't know, it was Universal Studios or Disneyland or something. Yeah, we went there. Yeah, and I couldn't believe that it was like something that they even like offered. I'm like, to me, no, it doesn't seem fair. You know, your service is to do a ride. You know, but then again, I go back to, well, it's America. I mean, they're a business. They have a right to make money. However, they, but no, but something inside me tells me it's icky and it's not right. There is always going to be a market for people that can pay it. So there will always be a market for that. And I'm not even 100% myself on how I feel about it.
All I know is that it made the experience at Universal Studios a lot better because they offered it. It was a completely different experience. I think it's icky and not fair or whatever, but if I have the money, I'll buy it. Totally. It sucks, but okay. Dude, I appreciate that. Seriously, I appreciate that. It's the truth. Who wouldn't if they had the opportunity? It's the same thing with first class when you're flying. I would love to fly first class, but I hate those people when I'm going sitting back in the back of the bus. Yeah, cattle call. Yeah, and I go, I look at him, I'm like, you jerks. It's the same thing. But I would buy it if I could afford it. It's the same thing with Roland VIP. I mean, it's like not everybody can hang out with sweet Leo DiCaprio. Oh, really? But it's like it's given the opportunity. It's not. Really? 570-1053. You know? My message to my son is always going to be, you're no better and no worse. than anybody. You should always be in the service of others. But you're no better or worse than anybody. And I'll tell you this, man. I thought about it. I thought, what would be the best possible reaction to that? Reaction. What would be the best possible reaction? I think the best possible reaction would be, you know what, you guys? I'll tell you what. You guys come with us. We're going to give you our passes. And the next one, you guys get on.
You guys get on the next one. What? You mean to the lady in line? Yeah. What? But then wouldn't you be standing there all day doing that for everybody? No. Not if everybody's going to make a comment like that. But if I'm going to see this lady and she's going to be in distress. Yeah. You know? That's very nice. That's very kind. Let's make it better for you. But I would definitely take the opportunity to also let her know where that's coming from. Give her my philosophy. I mean, after all, we're sharing our feelings. Right. If I had done something similar and just waved the pass in her face. No, Eddie. 570-1053. Not at all similar. 35253. I really would have done that. P.U. and Nicole. P.U. and Nicole. Hi, Mikey. Hi. I just got really upset. Oh, no.
I am so sorry now that people think it's not fair to be able to have that path. It's offered by the facility, and it's something that happens not only in parks but in life in general. Like you go to a club or you go to a place, there's VIP. It's just an option that you have. Why in the world would somebody get upset just because they don't have one? That's just jealousy in itself right there. I don't look at it as though it's being fair or unfair. It's just something that's offered. Hey, check this out. For that lady to even say something to your wife and her friend is appalling. Now, check this out. And I'm going to offer this up and see what you think about this. Because this is one of the things that Rebecca said, and I agreed. She said that life is constantly about choices. And there are things. that we can't do, her and I. There are things that we can't afford. And so we can't do them. Now, it's all about choices. And if we really want to do it, then there's a way we can get it done. We could save and we could do some of the things that we want to do but can't afford right now. And that woman could have a front of the line pass. It's a choice. But instead of going every other week to Legoland,
Maybe she goes once a month or instead of going twice a year, maybe she goes once a year and blows it up and rolls big time. That's the choices that we face. We face those choices in life. So everything in life is about choices. I feel like that's a broken record with me, too, but that's true. It wasn't. She was talking to my wife's friend, Jamie, and Jamie was just like she wanted nothing to do with this conversation because she didn't. Jamie's in from Idaho. And you got to know Jamie. Like Jamie's thing is let's laugh and have fun all the time. And so if anybody is offering any kind of confrontation, Jamie's like, let's have a beer and just forget about this. So Jamie didn't want any part of it. And she was like, right? Because she just wanted it to be over and get away from the lady. Go ahead.
Skye, why do you think it's not fair? Because, like, I don't know. I mean, I haven't really had time. But it's like, you know, how Mike keeps saying, you know, I'm no better or no worse. I think that's a great lesson to teach. But when certain people get to stand in a certain line and other people, I mean, you're segregating people based on, you know, their financial choices. You know, especially when it comes to kids, that's something that, like, as adults, we can all go, well, you know what? That's the part I struggle with. That's life. You know, that is life. You know, some people have big houses. Some people have small houses. Some people rent apartments. I mean, you know, that's life. But when a child is witnessing that and to explain that to a child, you know. I'm okay with the explaining part. The part I struggle with is the parents that don't explain. Yeah. Because they don't believe it themselves. And I'll tell you what I think is unfair. Unfair is when people go to a club and the club says, you're hot, you're not, you leave, you're ugly. That's unfair. And they do that all the time. That's unfair. That is reality, though. But if you could say, okay, if you save up, you can do whatever you want. Because that's life now. You can't go, I want Philip Rivers' house. You can't say that. And you can't say to Philip Rivers, that is so messed up, dude.
I got to pull you over, Phillip. Let's talk for a minute. I think it's really kind of screwed that my son, who is a good little boy, doesn't get to have an entire playroom like your son does. That is really messed up, and I just want you to know it. I think that's different playing fields, though. For me, we're all on the same playing field when we're at Disneyland waiting to go on Mr. Toe's Wild Ride. We're all in the same boat. We're all waiting in line to go on the ride. And, you know, we all have the same opportunity to do that. And when the park offers another option that's better than the option I'm stuck in, you're now on a different playing field. You're on a different playing field in terms of affluence. I understand that. I understand that. I'm just saying that I wish for me that the park didn't even offer that and we were just all in the same playing field. I wish that the NFL didn't pay what they pay. so that we could all be on the same playing field. And that is a... I understand what you're saying. I'm just giving my opinion. I'm just wondering, that woman who made that comment to Jamie, how she would have felt is as she's leaving the park, if there's a little kid out there crying, going, Mommy, that's not fair. That boy got to go into the park. Why didn't I get to go into the park? And then what is that woman going to say there, you know? Dude.
Like, I mean, not everyone can even afford. As they're leaving the exit of Legoland, Legoland is not $2 to get into. Oh, heck no. And there's a lot of people listening right now going, you get to go to Legoland? Right. It's like 50 bucks a ticket or something. You get to go to Legoland? So Sky's right, like that mom. What if you're driving out, mom? And somebody sees you driving out and pulls up to you at a stoplight and says, motions for that mom to roll her window down. Hey, I just want to let you know, thanks for rubbing it into my kid's face that you just came pulling out of Legoland. Because you want to know something? My little Billy will never get to go to Legoland. And when the light turns green, her car doesn't even pull away because it's so broken down. And the mom that said the thing that said to Jamie is pulling away in a Volvo that she's upset about because somebody else has a Mercedes. Yep. Is that what it's like? Ashley, is that what it's like? Or no? Maybe it's not like that. I have a completely different philosophy. Gotta hear it. Okay. I feel like, okay, like if you're saying you feel bad for the kid because the kid's like, why can't I have a front of the line pass? Like if I was that parent, I would like teach the child how to save up money so that the child can pay for the front of the line pass. I don't know how much it is.
But I would like give him an allowance, have him do chores and have it be a once a year thing or depending on how expensive it is in my financial situation and make the kid earn that right or give it to him for a birthday present. We're going to Legoland and guess what? You get a front of the line pass. And that's how I would instill it in my family. I love it. You say to your son, you can do that. Yeah, let's go. Let's make a compromise, you know. The kid goes, we can do that. Let's go right now. Well, you can't do it right now. We don't have one. Right. And teach him. You got to save. Teach him the value of a dollar. Teach him, you know, you got to work to get what you pay for. What an interesting topic. It is. It's juicy, Mike. It's good. It's a juicy meatball. 35253. Call us. 570-1053. Speaking of which, I'm starving. Okay. Mommy. Mommy's starving. I'm hungry. Relax, Mom. P1 Matt is on the line. Hi, Matt. Hey. Good, how are you? Good, go ahead. Yeah, I think that we should be able to get those passes if you can afford it. I mean, if other people think, you know, you shouldn't have them, who cares? Because if you can afford to do it, if you can get a better phone. Yes, that is correct. How come he gets a phone? What about his phone? Let's see. P1 Russell, are you there? I am still here. Go ahead, Russell. You guys basically took all my topics, but I just...
I think, Mikey, you hit it perfectly on the head when you're talking about choices. I mean, essentially, you know, one of the best things that my dad ever said is, you know, I can never compete with the way that people want to spend their money. You know, some people drive a, you know, $90,000 car and then complain why they never go on vacation. You know, meanwhile, you've got someone else who drives a Pinto who travels around the world. Like, people make choices. You know, life's not fair. Basically what the guy's describing for, you know. Well, you should let them in line in front of you. I mean, that's socialism. That's not what we want. I know that it will be a, I know that it would be a, it'd be one thing you're standing in line and you're in the normal line and somebody comes to the front of the line pass and let's say they're standing behind the person that's like first in line in the front of the line pass and they're like, come on already. Get this thing moving. And you've been standing in line for two hours. I know that for us, it is very difficult when you hear a person of affluence and wealth complaining about their situation. It's very difficult for us. But what you have to remember is that everything's relative. Everything's relative. And so there are things that we complain about.
That there are always going to be people that will go, how can you possibly be complaining in the situation that you're in? I mean, that's always going to be the case, right? Sure. I think there will always be that person. Listen to this one. We have to take time out. Alina, are you there? Here. Go ahead. Hey, Mikey. Yeah, I went to basic training whenever I got out of high school. And I had two best friends whenever I left. And whenever I got back home... I lost, like, 40 pounds. I got my bonus for, like, going. I was in Missouri in the middle of summertime. When I got home, you know, I wanted to go see one of my best friends where she works. She works at, like, a shoe store. And I'm like, hey, what's up? And the first thing she said to me was, I hate you. I'm like, what's going on? What's wrong with you, you know? Aren't you, like, happy for me that I look really good? She's like, you're so tiny. I hate you. And I'm like, what?
What's your problem? You know, I worked hard. I mean, I had to be away from my family. I, I couldn't talk to anyone for weeks at a time. And there were times where I wondered why am I doing this? You know, but I went through it and to come home and to hear someone say that to me, I hate you. And I'm like doing, I'm pretty much like at one point going to risk my life for her. And she's saying, I hate you. Uh, It really got to me, you know? Yeah. No, I get what you're saying. I totally get where you're coming from. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. There's seven people on The Mikey Show. Myself, Eddie, Sky, Sean, Ashley, Boston, Rob, and Zeth. That's right. In case you're keeping a scorecard at home and you want to know who's on there. Seven people on this show. We'll take a couple calls and we'll wrap up this topic. It was my wife and her mother and her best friend and my two-year-old son. And they were at Legoland. They bought the front of the line pass and the lady in the line next to him was upset. And didn't have a problem letting him know it. Thought it was really messed up to get that. We got a guy on the line that works at Legoland. That's what he says. I don't know if he actually does. P1 Travis. Yep, that's me. You work at Legoland? I work at Legoland. I work in the admissions. So what do you think? Well, I think it's sucky that that happens. But they're a business that if people are going to pay more for something that really doesn't cost them anything, then they're not going to say, no, you can't pay more for that. But you don't like it? I don't like it because it's like all these people are waiting in line and then there's just someone that cuts just for notes. It's not fair. I don't think that... What I think is kind of weird about it is that it's kind of like...
you're forced to have to look at each other. Like if you're in the other line, you're forced to have to look at the people going to the front of the line. And if you're in the front of the line, you're forced to have to feel bad for being there. And so that's kind of weird. I guess there's a bit of a trade off there. Yeah. Yeah, I guess it is. But thank you, man. I appreciate the phone call. Yeah, no problem. P1EE. Yes. What's up? Not much. I just wanted to say that this is a lot like flying first class on an airline. Do you guys have any problems with people buying first class tickets? Yeah, Eddie was talking about that. Eddie was talking about that. Yeah, you know, it's just the same, you know, and I don't know if a lot of people know this, but because of first class tickets in the airline industry, that actually keeps coach tickets a lot lower. So this revenue, like he was just saying. Oh, well, then they're angels. He was saying it doesn't cost the business any extra money to let people go to the front of the line. That's just all income. It's just revenue. That could help keep the tickets instead of being $50. Maybe the tickets should be $60.
And that lets how many more people into the park, too? Well, then, good for them. They should be heroes. Yes, they're actually heroes. I know that's not why they're doing it. They're not doing it because of that. They're doing it because it's what the people want. They want more money. But it's a side effect. Right, right. Hey, listen, I appreciate it, man. Thank you. Thanks. Appreciate the phone call. Let's see. We already touched on it. We're going to get to that in a minute. The Olympics are dominating. In the TV ratings, man, they have just blown up. Yeah. So for last week's ratings, the Olympic Games was the seven most watched shows for every day of the week. So every day of the week, the Olympics was the most watched show. No way. That's crazy. And every night they averaged about, you know, if you were average out all the numbers, about 28 and a half million viewers every night.
Their nearest rival, the network that was right behind them, was CBS, and they averaged only 5 million viewers a night. No way. 28.5 million viewers. Why? Why is this game so big? Yeah, and it's weird because they say they haven't seen ratings like this since the Atlanta Olympics when it was here in America, and that's why they felt so many people were watching it because it was here in the U.S. Michael Phelps? Michael Phelps? Probably a big reason. Carrie Walsh. Misty May. Misty May. Come on with it. Is that it, Eddie? I would say no. Is Carrie Strug? She's not competing. Mary Lou Retton. This is the reason that they're watching it so much. They're so good, Mikey. It's really great. What about this, though? The Mikey Show presents the search for the truth behind the words, the logic behind the lyrics. Time to play. If you know the lyrics of songs, call us right now at 570-1053. Let's see here. Way Lyrical Gangster Works says, I give you a trivia question about the lyrics of songs. If you answer it correctly, you win. It's very easy if you know the lyrics to songs. If you don't, this game is not for you. P1 Derek? Yes. How you doing, man? I'm good, man. You ready to play this? Yeah. How old are you, brother? 23. What do you do? You do tech support? Yeah. We've been talking to a few of these tech support guys. I've been the same guy. Yeah? It's always you. You're always the tech support. You've always just been you, Derek. He won tech support. That's right. All right. I'm going to give you three categories to choose from, Derek. You got 80s pop, today's favorites, and legends. Legends. You want to do some legends. All right. Your legends question is, in the song One More Night by Phil Collins. Gorgeous. Gorgeous song. He says, please give me one more night. Yeah. Give me just one more night. Just one more night. Because I can't wait. What? Oh, dude. He can't wait forever. Simply breathtaking. Just beautiful, Eddie. That was really gorgeous. All right. It's a family four-pack of tickets to NASCAR's NNS Camping World RV Service 300 races at the Auto Club Speedway.
This or next Saturday. How about you? How about that? That's a lot to remember. P1 Rene. How you doing, man? I'm doing good. Are you French? Yeah, are you French? French? Yeah. Your name is Rene. Yeah, yeah. I'm a black man. You're a black man. What's up? Yeah, you are. Pumping luck. What do you do, Rene? I work inside of a warehouse. Nice. I can't say what. Can't say which one. Yes. I don't know that I've ever heard that one, Eddie. I don't know about that one. I don't know if I've ever heard that one. You're clearly not listening. You ain't down. All right. You ain't got it. All right, Renee. Here are your choices. You got Legends, 80s Pop, and Today's Favorites. I don't think I'm going to go with 80s Pop. You got it. Right on, dude. You're going to do it for Sean? Yeah, bro. Yeah. You're going to do it for Sean. Don't mess it up. Your 80s Pop question is.
In the song Physical by Olivia Newton-John, she says, let's get physical. Physical. I want to get physical. Let's get into physical. Let me hear your body what? That's incorrect, bro. I'm surprised. She wants to hear your body talk. Sorry about that, bro. Oh, come on. They got a black NASCAR racer. Yeah. Willie T. He hasn't been in NASCAR.
Yeah, he just won the big NASCAR 500 last weekend. I believe that's correct, Mike. Yeah, it was called the NASCAR 500. Really? He raced last week. He was fantastic. The best. You think physical was good? That's only because you haven't heard hysterity. Talk about it, Mike. So glad you brought this up. It's a lot like physical. It's a lot like physical. It's garbage. No reason for this. It's a lot like physical. It's called hysterity. It's Ashley. Moses is on the line. This is the guy from Coldplay Sun. How you doing, bro? How are you, man? I've been since, oh man, back in the days. How about you? Awesome. Oh, look at that. Holy cow. I was locked up over there, man. This dude has been listening to us since the Dallas days. Oh, man. I hate to break this to you. I hate to break this to you. Oh, no. What's that? But even though you were locked up in Fort Worth, we actually broadcasted out of Dallas. I hate to break that to you. We weren't in Fort Worth. That's weird. Right, right, right.
We weren't in Fort Worth. Well, that's awesome, bro. What do you do now? What are you doing in San Diego? What do I do in San Diego? This is where I'm from. Oh, you're from? I did federal time, so they sent me out there. Oh, wow. What did you do? A couple banks, bank robberies. You robbed a bank? Wow. Oh, my goodness. Awesome. Now, hang on a second. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. How long did you do? I did 51 months because I didn't have a gun. I was just going in there with a note and just showing the clerk a note. I got to ask questions because I've never talked to a bank robber before. This is an opportunity. P1 bank robber. Okay. So how did you watch the plan when you did it the first time? There was no plan. You just decided spontaneously that you were going to do it? Yeah. So you had. You see it on TV and you see how easy it was. And it actually, it took a couple of bags. I walked into a couple of them and then just walked out, you know. Right. Kind of chickened out. Right. But after, then you're just like, oh, well, you know, I had nothing to do. So I said, you know, F the world. And I just went in there and did it, you know. Wow, man. You must have been so nervous. Yeah. Yeah, it was scary. And I was 18 at the time also. Oh.
Yeah, I was in the wrong path at that time. But like I said, it was 10 years ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah, bro. Yeah, yeah. I'm a different person now. Well, tell me this. When you got caught, did you get caught like right outside the bank? No, not at my house. No way. Yeah. How did that happen like that? Well, see, I had a partner. Like when he would do it, I would drive for him. When I would do it, he would drive for me. Right. And we came on Crime Stoppers and stuff. And then the mailman recognized him from Crime Stoppers. No way. And then that's how they ended up finding me, you know? Oh, my goodness. Can you believe that? Unbelievable. I can't believe I'm on the radio. Oh, dude. Hey, well, listen. Well, congratulations, bro, for turning your life around. I think that that's fantastic. Hey, maybe later on you can help me cash a check. I'll drive. Hang on. Sean. Hang on a second, Sean. Hang on a minute. 50-50, bro. That's okay, Sean. Thank you, Sean. All right. Just one more job. P1 Moses. Here are your categories. You got Legends, Today's Favorites, and 80s Pop. I'll go with Legends. You got it. Your Legends question is, in the song...
The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson. He screams, hey, pretty baby, with the what on? Hey, pretty baby, with the short baby skirt. Oh, no, no. Not even close? Not even close. He says, hey, pretty. Sorry about that, dude. All right, man. It was nice talking to you guys. Nice talking to you. That's the first time we've ever had a dude from Crime Stoppers on the line. Wow. That we know of. I beg to differ. Oh, OJ. This has actually been one of one, man. Oh, really? Yeah, there has. I'm OJ. Hello. Moderate OJ is what they call me. I'm innocent, OJ. No, you are not.
That's right. You're over the top. You are. And I'm a blood slip and slide, OJ. Okay, then. That's double over the top. Okay, then that's double over the top, OJ. Welcome. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Good to see you. Bye-bye. This is P1 Art on the line. Art, are you there? Yeah, right here, bro. Art, you got three categories. Legends, 80s pop, and today's favorites. I love you. You got it. Your legends question is, in the song Easy by the Commodores, he says, no, it sounds funny, but I just can't stand the pain. Girl, I'm leaving you when? Tomorrow. You got it. That is good. I went to sleep train so that I could have a reference to compare used mattresses on Craigslist.

Talk about it, Mike. She could throw it down. She's eating a full burrito right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As we speak. It is good. The entire burrito is in her mouth. Let me tell you. I can't stop eating. The girl can eat. We had her in an eating competition last week. Yeah. And she ate. Oh, it was marshmallows. Marshies. Marshies. She lost. Yeah. By two and a half. That was close, though. It was close. She put up a good fight. Well, the girl had prepared. I had not. She was a beast. Yeah. She threw down those marshmallows. Dude, the girl that she went up against was like real ripped and cut and everything. Personal trainer. Personal trainer. And she ate more marshmallows. Didn't she use like the water marshes? Didn't she use the water technique? Yeah. Well, she practiced the night before, which was brilliant. And I blew it. I had not practiced, which will never happen again. For the record. Are you sure? Yeah. Oh, I'm sure. You know what you're eating?
I was so pissed that I lost. Thank you for supporting me. I love you. I'm going to do this with you. Well, you want to know what you're going to be eating tomorrow? I'm nervous. Packers. Oh, my. Saltine crackers. Saltine crackers. Nice, those are good. Those are delicious. Now, Eddie, isn't there some kind of thing about it? Yeah, like there's some sort of... Urban legend. Yeah, that you can't eat seven crackers in a minute and swallow them. Come on. Really? Okay. Well, then we will test that tomorrow. Oh, yeah, we will. We sure will. Now, all we need is a competition for Ash. 570-1053. Call us right now. Ladies or men. She'll take you all on. What do you got, Eddie? How about... I have a feeling she's going to Michael Phelps somebody right out of here tomorrow. Yeah, she is kind of like the Michael Phelps of the show. Thank you. As far as diet. Wait. I accept. When we were talking about what he ate a couple of weeks ago, I think there may be like official word on it. In fact, okay, so here's what I remember. Michael Phelps diet. Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps. And by the way, if you want to compete 5701053, do we already have somebody? Wow. You've got to be kidding me. Nicole? Nicole? Yes. Is this Ashley's boyfriend's sister? No. Are you there, Nicole? Nicole? Oh, no. No.
We can get her back on. Bad connection. Bad connection. But that is... That's her. Is that Cole? Yeah, that's her. That's your boyfriend's sister. I love her. How come, Ashley, you change everybody's name? Everybody. I don't know. That's how I've been since I was born. So you call her Cole. Call her Cole. We all call her Cole. Cole. Cole. There you go. What is Eddie? Chuddy. Call Skye. Ski. She's kind of like a rap name for everybody. Everybody. So Michael Phelps, here's what I heard. I heard he ate three egg sandwiches every morning with, and the egg sandwiches had mayonnaise, onions, cheese. That's what I heard. We got Nicole back on. We'll talk to her in a second. Then I heard, and this is all breakfast, I'm telling you. So three egg sandwiches. Then he would eat, uh, He would have like two or three pancakes. Chocolate chip pancakes. Chocolate chip pancakes. Talk about it. I believe he would have like French toast. Okay, she just saw Yokozuna, Eddie. Okay. She just saw Yokozuna. That's you. She just saw Yokozuna. Is that a man or a woman? Because he's wearing a tutu and a little tiara. And that's it. He found Yokozuna. Isn't he gorgeous? He is gorgeous. That's the worst. Yokozuna.
Maybe we should put up a picture of Yokozuna and Ashley as they are. That's Yokozuna, Skye. That's not cool. You saw the picture? That's not Ashley. All right, fine. Oh, my gosh. You don't want to be like that about it. So, how about this one, Skye? Does that make it any better? Does that make it better? No. With the tutu. Send us the link. Does that make it better, Skye? No. That's still not Ashley. He's not thinner there? That's still not Ashley. All right, fine. In the tiara. We're talking about a champion here. Grand champion. Squit, squit, squit. Okay, not cool. A grand champion? Not just a champion, a grand champion. That's right. So, there he is. Eddie, do you remember anything else? Potatoes, like hash browns, grits. Oh, yeah. Oh, grits. A five egg omelet.
Really? Yeah, I'm looking at something right here. Yeah, it talks about all this stuff. Yeah, he looks like a 5A omelet. All right. I don't know what that means. Two large cups of coffee with all that other stuff. The pancakes, the French toast, the grits. Well, this is from Good Morning America. It's him clearing up rumors, including the diet. Cut five. What is the funniest thing you've heard about yourself and all this media storm that's followed your success? That I used to be a woman. I know. Someone sent me a text that. I'm trying to remember what it said. It said something that I'm dating an actress or a model or something, and that's neither one of those. Well, if it wasn't true already, I'm sure it will be when you get back here. How about all the food? We had this whole diagram, all of your food on one table. Do you really eat that stuff, egg sandwiches, pancakes, looking the way you do, as finely tuned an athlete as you are? Come on. I try to eat as much calories as I can to try to keep my weight on. And here, I'm excited just to be able to eat whatever I want and sort of indulge a little bit. But do you really do the whole pancake, egg sandwiches thing all the time? Or do you usually try to eat as healthy as possible? I mean, not really much anymore. But when I was back in Baltimore and a little bit younger...
I would definitely consume all that stuff. Hmm. So, it sounds like maybe he doesn't now? He definitely has. He didn't say he doesn't do it. He says he needs to cut back or something. As many calories as he can. Oh, wow. It's one pancake, two egg sandwiches, half the grits, and a full goat. And a goat. A goat? Nicole, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Oh, wow. Well said. Nicole? Yes? Are you prepared to come into the studio and battle your future sister-in-law on the air? I am. I'm very prepared and a little bit nervous, though. I've seen her in action. Yeah, right? I can't believe you. How old are you, Nicole? I'm so excited. I'm 25. I just turned. We're the same age. Same age. All right. That's pretty fair. This is awesome. Let's do this thing. Let's do this. Now, you guys are going to be eating crackers.
Saltine. Saltine crackers. Eddie says there's an urban legend. Can't eat more than seven, Eddie? Yeah, seven in a minute. Can't eat more than seven in a minute. Okay, well, I got eight. All right. All right. We'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. All right, we'll see you here tomorrow, Nicole. Okay, sounds good. Be ready, mama. See you soon, Ashley. I love ya. There she is. Oh, my God. That's Nicole. That's her boyfriend's sister. She is great. My boyfriend, you brother. Tell him I love him. I love him so much. I'll say yes. All right, text numbers, 35253. The East County and the South Bay Rides are moving right along. And the 805 northbound, just a minor slowdown around Governor Drive. Then you're on your way. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. From the Cricket Wireless Studios. This is the home. That's a shame right there. That hurt me. San Diego's Rock. It's another Mikey moment. Eddie and B-Rob for over a year now have been competing against each other in various challenges.
And so what we did was we put a whole bunch of Olympic events since the Olympics are going on. We put a whole bunch of Olympic events up on Mikey show.com. We let you guys vote. We said, what did you, what would you guys like to see them participate in? These will be the three events that they're competing in. Greco, Rome. Yes. Come for the visual. Stay for the therapy. Back to the Mikey show. What about that? That right there. Eddie, there's your boy. back. It is 9-13. Two active-duty sailors were arrested yesterday in connection with a deadly shooting that happened at a bar over the weekend. Well, it's official. Gray Maddox, no longer a Padre, sent to the Dodgers for three minor leaguers. In North Carolina, a 16-year-old has dropped out of school to play Guitar Hero full-time. Shut up! How is that possible? I don't understand. That's crazy! Yeah.
Okay, so I guess this kid is like big into Guitar Hero and had been participating in tournaments and doing pretty well winning things like gift certificates, gaming equipment, and chicken sandwiches. He says he's also won chicken sandwiches. Oh, that's awesome. That's some good stuff right there. And according to him, top gamers on the competitive circuit can earn normally about $25,000. But if you're like the best of the best, you can earn like $80,000 a year. Really? Doing these like tournaments and competitive circuit. They have tournaments? With Guitar Hero. I don't know, bro. That's what this kid says. So his parents let him drop out of school and he now gets like a home tutor when it doesn't interfere with his Guitar Hero practice. That sounds like a really great parent. Yeah. We're going to have you drop out of school to do Guitar Hero. Wow. Crazy. We really want you to forget about those studies so that you can concentrate on your video games. Yeah. Hey, Rob, how do you feel about that? I was not paying attention. I'm sorry, guys. I'm up in San Marcos on San Marcos Boulevard. Hold on. He's got somebody? Is he crazy? We got the gas monkey. It's the gas monkey online.
Let's do the gas monkey. He's up in San Marcos. You found somebody already? What do we got? What are we looking at here? Does he have to be so angry as the gas monkey? He freaks out. Let me get the winter line on as well. What kind of car are we talking? I don't know. It looks very gas efficient though. It's one of those Like hybrid-looking vehicles? Oh, look at you. Fantastic. I mean, really? Hyundai Phoenix? That's his joke? He's talking to her right now in a monkey suit. He's going to make jokes about her. He's in a monkey suit. Rob. Rob. Did you do your monkey dance for her? Not yet. Yeah, you got to do your monkey dance. Hand her the phone, by the way, so I can talk to her. No, don't do that. Don't do that. We have to get that suit back. Oh, I thought he said he had a five. I thought he said he had a five. Yeah, because of the accent, I thought, oh man, I got a five in here. Don't do that. We got to return it. Let me talk to our winner.
This is me. What is your name? P1 Mel. Oh, Mel. Mel, how long have you had that sticker on your car? Since the sticker strike. Nice. Awesome. Paid off. Yeah, it's paying off for you. Yes, it is. Isn't that gas monkey handsome? Oh, he is. I love the head thing. Yeah, it's nice. He's by Curious George. That's right. Oh, that's not funny. Oh, you can hear it. Okay, do you see the bananas? Yeah. All right, Mel, not you, gas monkey. Of course you do. You're so stupid. You're holding them. How many times has he done this? All right, reach out and grab a banana. Me? No, that's the woman, Rob. You're the monkey for crying. Can I pull it off? Yes, pull it off. I want a limo. No, grab a banana, Mel. I got one, Mike. Not you. Not you, Rob. Let Mel grab a banana.
Okay, you got one. I do. Pull the sticker off and tell me how much that gas card's worth. I got 50 bucks. Nice. Great job. 50 bucks. Yay. I mean, for crying out loud. It's spicy. Listen, it's great you won 50. No, it isn't. It's stupid. When is somebody going to pull a $250 gas card around this place for crying out loud? Like a banana. My goodness gracious. Is it my turn? No, no, it's not your turn. Well, listen, Mel. Congratulations on your $50. Come on. Well, listen, it'll do something for you, obviously. You'll put some gas in there. And if you have a gas-efficient car, $50 will probably keep you running for a couple of weeks, at least, seriously. So, congratulations. Thank you very much. Thank you, Mel. We'll see you. Gas Monkey.
Gas monkey. He's a mess. It's like Lenny or Squiggy on the line. That was a good one, Mike. Thank you. Come on back to the station now. That's your boy. That is your boy. I accept it. Do you guys know that Chris Kattan and his wife have separated after eight weeks of marriage? Eight weeks? Eight weeks. Eight weeks. Eight weeks. Eight weeks. What happened? Do you not even know her name? Well, her name is Sunshine. Oh. And they got married. Explains a lot. She's a model. And they got married about eight weeks ago in Yosemite. And, of course, all the SNL crew was there. Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler. I'm sure they're not irritated. Jimmy Fallon. Well, they made the trip out to Yosemite for the nuptials. Sure. And according to Chris Kattan's rep.
Yes, they are separated for the moment, but they're working on it. So they're trying to work it out. If you're only married eight weeks, are you obligated to return the gifts that you got? That's a good question. And what is the amount of time that you would be obligated? I'd want my gift back. Eight weeks, really? Give me that toaster back. When would you not be obligated? Can you imagine if no matter what you had to return the gifts? Right. You know, like 15 years later. Exactly. You got to return everything. Return that brand new VCR they got us. Yeah. But I wonder what the amount of time is. I don't know. That would make me mad. Eight weeks. Oh, man. Imagine flying all the way out to Yosemite. I want to be compensated. Yeah. Some guy in Chicago sued a restaurant over a nine foot tapeworm. Oh. It's pretty gross. It's pretty gross. I want to know, how did he track it to that restaurant? It's the only restaurant he's ever eaten at in the last nine years or whatever. He and his body had a nine-foot tapeworm? Yeah, and apparently the tapeworm told him where it came from. Yeah, how does that work? It came from San Diego's. Well, so he eventually... It's a Mexican restaurant in Chicago. San Diego's? San Diego's.
I've never heard of that. Never heard of Sanjayo's? That's delicious. Is it a chain? Yeah. Really? Big in Chicago. Sanjayo's. You've got to Google it. Oh, okay. Really great. How do you spell that? Maybe you're thinking of Sanjaya. Oh, that's the deal. I was thinking of Sanjaya. Sanjaya was in some man's body? Yes. Well, he has a restaurant in Chicago called Sanjaya's. Oh, oh, oh. Are we talking P1 Sanjaya or the real Sanjaya? We're talking about the real Sanjaya. Oh, wow. So, basically, what went down? The Milwaukee Bucks then signed the tapeworm. Is that true? Yeah. Is that a true story? It's the truth. Are you telling the truth? It's the truth. It's the truth. I'm reading it. ESPN Mobile. Got a blast. He's got a text. So, this guy. You want to know? How does that work? How does it work? How do they find it? Because he was rubbing his...
Butt on the carpet. That's a telltale sign. Telltale sign. Yuck. They dewormed him. Basically, the reason they were able to track it back to this restaurant in Chicago. She followed the carpet. Ew. The snail trail. After getting really, really sick, this guy obviously went to get medical treatment and was able to pass. The tapeworm. The nine-foot tapeworm. No way. He was able to pass it. And then the doctors did tests on it and determined that it came from undercooked fish. Don't do that, Eddie. It's not like the rope in gym class. It's not. Stop it. Hand over fist. Hand over fist. Bear grills. So after doing tests on the tapeworm, they determined it came from undercooked fish.
Somehow they can know that it came from undercooked fish. And this guy said he had recently ordered a salmon salad for lunch at this restaurant in Chicago. And so now has filed a lawsuit for $100,000 for negligence in serving him improperly cooked fish. He deserves it. You want to know something? I think that ordering a salmon salad is grosser than a nine-foot tapeworm. And the crazy thing? Some people like that, Mike. That's disgusting. It's like ordering cat food. Some people like it. Put a little lemon on there. Dude. On the tapeworm. Okay, so listen to this. Listen to this. And mom, if you're listening. Excuse me. Uh-oh. Y'all, this is going to be good. But my wife will call in, I'm sure, if she hears this and back me up on this one. But my mom, my mother-in-law, ordered this salmon breakfast thing. And it was big and it was salmon-y. And I could tell, like, my wife. I know her so well. Poor thing. I could tell that she was like, oh, no, you didn't.
Get her on the line. Lox type of a thing? Like bagels and lox? No. Like a whole piece of salmon? What? Wait, did you say it was breakfast? What did it look like? Salmon and what? Like eggs? Were there potatoes? What are we talking here? It was not at a chain restaurant. Okay. And I will not say where, but it's one of my favorite places and it's delicious. I just wouldn't order this on the menu. But it was on there and it was like a... You got a picture like... and onions and stuff like that. Like a salmon hash. I'll put it this way. If you like salmon, this would be like the greatest thing ever for you. But if you don't like salmon, sweetheart, we're talking about the salmon scramble. Now, I could tell that when it was ordered that you were a little uncomfortable. Sure. But when it actually arrived and it plumed over
Over to our side of the table? Come on now. Especially in the morning. Oh, yeah. After she had just run a 5K. Yeah, you know, that's not necessarily my favorite thing to hear when we're sitting down to eat at a table. Really? I'll have the salmon anything. But you know what? Everybody has different tastes. That's right. No, listen, I think it's fine to order it. It's just that, you know, it's got some, you know, smellage to it. An odor. Like I said, I mean, somehow, like in the evening for dinner, like I don't know if somehow I've like worked up to being able to be more accepting of something like that. Yeah. But first thing in the morning, you know, the air is very clean and crisp.
I give her that, man. Somehow I'm just not as prepared to tolerate it. She really has gotten to the point where anybody can order anything at dinner. Pretty much. Good job. When we first started dating, it grossed her out to be in the same restaurant. So, Rebecca, we could go to Carnegie Deli now again and you would order and be fine? You know what? I still don't think I could do it. Why? Because your husband ordered a tongue sandwich? She was so irritated and so disgusted. She was disgusted. I didn't like my salad either. It was a normal salad. There was nothing wrong with it at all. It was the environment she was in, the pickles on the table. We walk in there. We walk in there, and everybody's excited. Like, Eddie's wife is like, whoa! You know, like, her eyes are as big as saucer. She's smiling. She's like, wow, look at this, look at this. And we sit down, and there's just this excitement, and Rebecca is like, wants to vomit. Well, it's, yeah, I mean, it smelled right when we walked in there. It does. It has this wet smell. It's a deli. It's a deli. It's a deli that's been there for... I think the thing I have the biggest problem with right now...
Still is calamari. Oh, it's the best. Because it has such a strong smell. No, calamari doesn't smell. You would not have liked my spicy calamari salad that I got over the weekend? No. No. Didn't I order something like that recently? I'm sure, because you, you know, and I try really hard to not appear affected, but it's hard for me. I can't explain it. I just can't. Like, it makes it so that I can't eat my food. It's not easy. It's not easy. You got anything like that where it just grosses you out when it comes to the table if anybody orders it? Just bell peppers. Just bell peppers. Yeah, because I'm going to smell them anywhere. So if somebody orders something that's got bell peppers in it, you're grossed out. Yeah. Yeah, like fajitas? I mean, it doesn't affect me eating. I'll still eat my food, but I will let them know that they're disgusting. You know how people, like some people, when they see... Things that are gross, they have like kind of a gag reflex or whatever. I don't have that. Mine is with smell. And so if I'm smelling something that may, you know, I just, then I can't eat because every time I go to like chew and swallow it. Wait a second. Hang on. Eddie just gave you the example of Carnegie Deli. It's not like the tongue sandwich smelled. Well, it smelled in the restaurant and the table was sticky.
It was? And you were eating a tongue sandwich. What about the delicious pickles on the table? Yeah, what about the pickles and the green tomatoes? Yeah, that. And my salad was gross. And so just all the way around, it was cheese and lettuce. My wife likes bread. It was lettuce. You know what, though? Something was weird with it. And the dressing was really weird. And there was chicken in it. And the chicken was cold. Well, this went well. Yeah. No, it didn't. I'll tell you what, though. She knows her desserts, right, Eddie? That is true. Yeah. What's up, Roxy? The lady knows her desserts. Yeah. What's up? All right, baby. Love you. Love you, too. Bye. See you. Yeah, she is very particular. Seems like she's come a long way, though. Yeah. Sky does not like smelly foods. Oh, no. Hey, guys. What's the best smelling food? Holy cow. Anything Italian. Oh, dude, I think you might. You're definitely in the top three. Right? Yeah. Cinnabon is definitely top three. Yeah. Pizza? Out of the oven? Barbecue. Garlic? Sautéed garlic? Sautéed garlic and butter. Yeah, I mean, that's my favorite. With a little white wine. Oh, forget you. With a little white wine. Oh, yeah. Get a little scampi work in there, guys. Yeah. Put a little more garlic. Barbecue anything.
Pancakes. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Oh, talk about me. Bacon. Yeah? You wake up. I love the smell of bacon. You wake up, and the first thing you smell is bacon. Skye is shaking her head and crinkling her nose. No, I'm out on a lot of these suggestions. What? I support the cinnamon bun, and I support the pizza. The rest of it. You hate chocolate chip cookies. I don't hate them, but if we're, you know, I mean, we're picking the top of the pops here. That is not it. What do you put up there, Sky? And you have to exclude the obvious. I wasn't going to say that. I was going to say a $5 bill. Hang on a second. I don't even know what that is. They make those? Yeah, okay. I love the smell of ingots in the morning. I don't even know what that is. Is that a bird? Sapphires.
570-1053. What's the matter, Eddie? You all right? Well, you have two drinks right there. Drink some water, bro. He's drinking. That'd be fine. Is something in there? Do you need somebody to give you the Hamlet maneuver? Please. P1. Matt is on the line. That smell is what? The best smell in the world? Parmalized onion. Dude, come on. That's good. I wouldn't rank it in that. I wouldn't make my top ten. I wouldn't make my top ten. Oh, I got it. I got it. Krispy Kreme donuts. That's good. It's good. Yeah, that's good. When you walk into a Krispy Kreme and you smell... Are you joking around? Are you kidding me right now? He's calling Krispy Kreme overrated. What?
If anything, they've been made to be the biggest thing in the world, and I still think they're underrated. I used to hear about this thing called Krispy Kreme, and I was like, whatever. And then I tried it, and I was like, wow. Talk to me, talk to me. If their specialty was old-fashioned donuts, Eddie would be all in. And they're not. Yeah, and they're not. Their specialty is the, what do they call that? Just like the original. It's like a glazed, boring donut. Dude, they do that donut. It melts in your mouth. They do it better than anybody in the world. Eddie, shut up. Somebody block him. Please. He's nuts. P1 Aaron, what do you think? Aaron, are you there? Aaron? Hello. Hi. What do you think? I think apple pie is one of the best smells in the world. That's good because it smells like cinnamon. Yuck.
Yuck. Yuck, Skye. What? Well, I don't care for pie, so yuck. Skye doesn't like pies. Neither does my wife. What's that thing like a mulling spice? Oh, yeah, yeah. I know what you're talking about. It smells like apple pie. Yeah. That's good. That's really good. I like it, Erin. I think it's good, too. I agree. P1, Eric has a good one. Eric, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, man. What's yours? Mikey, it's in and out, buddy. Yeah, my wife would really agree with that. And it does. It has a very particular deal. I can't pass it up when I drive by. Thank you, brother. Oh, no. Evan. We got to take Evan. Evan, you got it. Dude, you got it. This is in my top five. It hasn't been said. It's in my top five. Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, yeah. How's it smell? If you imagine right now, fireplace.
You just went outside to get some wood, and it's like cold out there, and you're in your sweats, and you come back inside, and your mom's already been there for five hours, and this is what you're getting. You're getting a little roast turkey with the smell of stuffing in the oven. You're getting all of that, and pumpkin pie. The pumpkin pie. The pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie. Right. What's the scam? If you're pulling a scam on me, I will find you. There's no scam, sir. I'm just asking how you feel about Corona Light. Well, it's not the like. It's that whole laid back beach thing and a light beer. You know, it's the only light beer that's also a Corona.

And he shows on 5-3. It is 42. The city of San Diego has agreed to spend over $100,000 on subsidized valet parking for Little Italy. Arizona Cardinal wide receiver Anquan Bolden has asked to be traded. Oh, wow. That's too bad. That's too bad because Anquan Bolden is a young, talented football player on a team that's pretty young and talented with a lot of potential, you know? Eddie says Skrill. It's all about the Skrill. Skrill. He wants his. He wants his. Skrill.
where he's, well, there's a lot of places probably, right? He can go make a lot of money. For sure. I don't play football professionally. I don't play football on the professional level. Yeah, but you don't play football on any level. The amateur level. Yeah, definitely the amateur level. You don't even know how to throw a football. Well, yeah, but I mean, I'm sure if I wanted to invest some time in it, I could play. I mean, you've had 38 years. Amateur football level, you know. Well, let's go outside right now. No, it's all right. I don't have the shoes. I don't have the shoes. I got it. I got an extra pair of tennis shoes in my car. How many feet do you think that I could throw a football? Eddie, come on. Let's be serious. Wait a minute. Five feet is from here to sky. I know I can throw it farther than her.
I can. But can we catch it? That's the question. What is the farthest I can throw a football? All right, six feet. What's the over-under, Eddie, on me throwing a football? Not you. No, you don't answer. Seth, what is the over-under on me throwing a football? Have you seen him throw? Yeah, I have. I have. Give me the over-under. 20 feet. A tape measure? I'm sure engineering does. I could find one. Eddie, over or under? Under. Sky. Under. Now, is it on the fly, though, right? Not a roll. Wherever it hits. Wherever it hits. It's Eddie. Way under. Ashley. Stop it, Eddie. Over. Sean. I'd definitely say over. You too. Eddie and Sky under. Yes, we know the answer is under. Sean, Ashley, over. As soon as we get a tape measure, we'll try it. I know I'm going to throw that ball.
I've seen you practice. 750 feet. Yeah, positive thinking, Mike. That's right. At least 30 feet. Who's this? Who's this? This is Rayman. Rayman. Rayman. Hold on, okay? All right, cool. You're going to play P1 Trivia. Yeah, I am. All right, hang on. And P1 Wubby. Wubby, are you there? I am here. Right on. Do you know who has got a slave? Who's a German thinker in the P1 Trivia show? All right, so we got Rayman... We got Wubby. Yeah, Wubby. Well said. All right, so let's talk to them both. Wubby, are you there? I'm here. Okay, good. And Rayman, you're there too? I am. All right, Rayman, how old are you? I am 28. 28. How long have you been listening? Since the blunder days. Whoa! Nice. Yeah, probably since when you guys were doing evenings, you know? Oh, wow. Awesome. So you've been listening at least five years. Okay. Okay, and how about you, Wubby? How old are you?
I am a fantastic 39. All right. And how long you been listening? Yes, you are. Yes, you are. How long you been listening? Only two and a half years. Two and a half. That's a lot. That's only because I just moved out to California, so I haven't been here as long as... You go, sister. You don't need to tell us nothing. That's right. You just do it. You be you. You just be you and let the rest take over. Let's drink some wine and let's talk about it. You're worth it. Let's do this thing. I think the ladies started first last time. So that means guys are up first this time. P1 Rayman. Rayman. Point is, we're trying to get to five points. Yeah. Mon Rainman. So you can pick a... No, it's a Rayman. You're going to be picking from a one, two, or three-point question. One, three, and threes are hard. I'll take a two, please. You got it. Mon Rainman. How many toothpicks are on the ground? Definitely. Your two-point question is, who on the show do we say watches the entire TV and even has a segment where he introduces new TV shows? That would be Big Tuna, Big Tony. That is correct. Two points to you, Rayman. P1 Wubby. Yes. What would you like, a one, two, or three-pointer? I'd like to start off with a mic there, please. A number two, sorry. A number two.
You got it. Your two-point question is, who is the new Mikey Show phone screener? That would be that. That is correct. Wow. It is tied two to two. Unbelievable. Rayman, are you going to play it easy, or are you going to try to bring this whole sucker home? Yeah. I'll try for three, guys. You got it. What are the names of Sky's cats? Dude. You should notice this. Like, when I called in, Zeth was like, hey, do you happen to know the name of Skye's cat? Just to kind of screen me. Right. And that was the one thing I didn't know. I knew Charlie, Big Charlie. I don't know.
Big Charlie. That's one of her cats. That's not my cat. That's a mole. Yeah, that's a mole on her back. That's a mole. Why is it breathing? It's not a cat. The mole on her back is called Big Charlie. Tiny. It's like the size of a dime. And it's got whiskers. It does not have whiskers. Stop it. It's like a big freckle. It's the size of like a dime. It's more like a toupee. There's no hair on it. Please. Shave it. Stop it. You're going to wax that sucker. If I had to guess, I would say, Shoot, I don't know, guys. I'm sorry. Sorry, dude. It's... Wubby wants to steal. You could steal, but you're not going to get the points. You could tell us what it is, though. Tango and Logan? Oh, Wubby, you're the best. Oh, my gosh. You know what the worst is? I knew that. Yeah, it's Tango and Logan. Yeah, the Tango's got some kind of problem or something. Yeah, Tango's got some issues going on. Yeah. Let's see. Wubby. Yes. What do you want, a one, two, or three-pointer?
I have to go with a three. Yeah, because you just answered a three. What animal did Eddie play chicken with and lose? That would be a squirrel. That is a squirrel. Done. I'll let you both come in. You both did great. It's a very rare occasion that I don't let both of you come in. I mean, somebody's got to be terrible to not be able to come in. So, Rayman and Wubby, you both get to come into the studio on Friday, backstage pass, catered breakfast, the whole nine. All right, hang on the line, okay? Awesome, thanks, guys. Hold on. And again, about the P1 Hall of Fame broadcast. Yeah. Because that sucker is going on on Friday, September 5th. And it is going to be a bash. And we're doing the whole thing on the air. Whole thing's going to happen on the air. We're going to be inducting seven people into the Mikey Show P1 Hall of Fame.
And they've got to be big time P1s in order to make it into the Hall of Fame. We've been announcing them this week. And we have rolled out, so far we've rolled out Space Boy. We have rolled out Quimby. And today we announced that P1 T-Rex is in the Mikey Show P1 Hall of Fame. And so tomorrow and Friday we're doing two people per day. So a total of four people over the next couple of days. Should be really cool. Our phone number here, 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. On Zeth's email that he sent me today, you know how we all, you know, you guys all sent me the yesterday email. The yesterday email, you'll hear me refer to the yesterday email every once in a while. And what it is, is each member of the show sends me an email and tells me what they've been up to. For instance, Ashley wrote and said that she went on a walk with Sky yesterday. She said that she went home and baked homemade cookies and ate the entire 12 cookie tray of cookies. Maybe you have a nine foot tapeworm in you. I don't know because then she took a three hour nap and woke up and baked some more.
Gross. I originally baked them to give to my neighbor and bring some over to my boyfriend, and then I ate them all, so I had to bake more. I can't believe how much I love you. Give to my boyfriend who I love. A tray of cookies. My boyfriend who I love. The yesterday email, Zeth said, a guy I know called me and asked for me to go to his sister's birthday party. I wouldn't call this guy a friend, more of just a dude that I know. He's an acquaintance, so to speak. He says, I guess his sister and her boyfriend are big fans of the show. I really don't want to go, but I said yes anyway. I don't know why. I don't know why. Some people find it really hard to say no. I'm definitely one of those people. Finds it hard to say no, except now. I don't find it hard to say no anymore. But there are lots of people that are listening that go, oh man, that's me. It is so hard for me to say no. You know, if you're a people pleaser, it's hard to say no. Is there anybody listening who is hard for you to say no to people? 570-1053. We will discuss this with Zeth next. It's Mikey. Rob said that Eddie had cramps. Kill him? It's because Eddie was nice enough to buy tampons for his wife. It's a sweet gesture. It's not nice at all. It's not very nice at all. Sweet gesture. All right, we got a football. How are we going to do this? The over-under on me throwing a football is 20 feet, and Eddie and Sky say under, and Ashley and Sean say over. What do you say, Rob? I'm going to say over.
I am. You say over. You have a lot of faith. You have to, dude. A little girl could do that. You're making it worse. You're making it worse. Zeth has a tape measure. Zeth, come around the board. Do you want me to go or stuff? Yeah, you can come. I need to bring my phone. What about me? Can I come? Yeah, you can come. We need a wireless mic. Seth needs to stay. That's it. So one of us is at the hotline. I'm calling. I'm calling. The regular request line. Okay, later. Should be ringing. Talk amongst yourselves. Yeah, right. You got me? Why isn't he talking? I don't know. He should be there. Hello. So, Sean, how's life in San Jose? Are you kidding me with this? I mean, I'm, you know, in charge of a multi-million dollar radio station right now. Mike!
Hey, Mike. Mikey Shaw. Are you panicking? No, Sean is, though. Oh, please, help. Zeph on the air by himself. How rad was that? Are you kidding me? I'm terrified. Okay, now, we are outside now. Mike, where's your phone? I have it, but we got this connection. You didn't talk. It's busy. You're on it, aren't you? No, I'm on it. Oh, you did? Yeah. Can you hear me? Yeah, I got you. Oh, no. Hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator. Hang up and try again. What are you doing? Sorry. Oh my gosh, help, help. Stop hanging up on me. Sorry. And the hotline is busy. Why is the hotline busy? I don't know. Turn my mic on. Am I on? Yeah. You're on. Okay. Mike is trying to call the hotline. Okay, I'll fix that.
What is happening? It's a meltdown, dude. All right, he can call the hotline now. Okay, now it should work, Mike. This is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. It really is. Hello. This isn't rocket science. All right. I've lost this weight. That's why I can do this. This is not far, Mike. You can do this. I didn't think 20 feet. You said I couldn't do it. I was thinking 20 yards, 20 feet. For the record, 20 feet is nothing. It's like nothing. You are going against the wind, though. I'm going against the wind. So? We might be able to do 20 yards. Yeah, 20 yards or 20 feet is nothing. There's a car? Yeah, that's nothing. They're all out there right now. This is ridiculous. Do we want to change it to 20 yards? Yeah, let's do 20 yards. Yeah, let's do 20 yards because that's what we meant. I still say over. Whatever. I just did it. I'll throw 20 yards. I'll throw whatever you want. You are not. We'll see. Come on, Rob. Let's go back here. What's three times a yard is three feet. Oh, no. A yard is three feet. 60 feet. Give him some paper. 60 feet. Right here. 20 yards, really? Wait, wait, wait. Three of those.
Oh, wait, wait, wait. Is it three? If one yard is three feet, how many is 20 yards? 60 feet, Mike. 60 feet? Yeah. Oh, that's a lot. You can throw that far. Mike, you can do it. Don't be a woman. Come on. I can do it, though, Sean. Let's be honest. That's 60 feet right there? That's it. This is 20 yards. Oh, dude. Oh, come on. Hey, take out your pigtails and throw the ball. I got to catch this guy. You hold those. I can't wait. I can't wait. It's 60 feet. How many times, man? Here we go. It's not going to happen. Figure it out, bro. He's stretching it out. He is really loosening it up. Hold the groin. Oh, no. It pulled his labia.
Okay, this is the event. All right, Mike. He's winding up. Mike, should you back up and get a running start? Can you get a running start? All right. Oh, my God. No, did not make it. That looks like it came close. And hit somebody's BMW. Hold on. It looks like it came close. Yeah, he was probably maybe like five feet. Best two out of three. Best two out of three. Come on, let me try again. If you guys got me to do it again on 20 feet, I get to do it one more time on 20 feet. That's fair, Mike. Okay, best two out of three, Mike. Sure, Mike. Okay. Here's the one. Come on, little one. You walked backwards.
Come on, booster seat. Let's go. He's getting ready. Two steps forward. There goes the throw. Oh, and again, short. About five feet off, Mike. Another five feet off. One more? Yeah. Okay, we're getting... Third time's the charm. Here it comes. Get your shrimp here. He doesn't get how two out of three works, Eddie. Just let him do it. Hang on. I don't want to get killed. All right. One more. I'll get one more. He still thinks he can win somehow. I know. I know. But, okay. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh. What happened, Skye? What happened? Well, Eddie threw the ball for him to catch, and he starts screaming like a girl when the ball was coming at him. And dropped it immediately and shaking his hands like it really hurt. He got it. He got it. He took his flip-flops off. A car with a hacksaw right behind him. Hacksaw. By the record, it was hacksaw and he looks furious.
And he looks like he wants to kill us all. Oh, right on. Get out of the way. I didn't know what you meant by that. Car? I was like, get out of the way. Who's that? What, you want to borrow it? Okay. All right, we're coming back in. All right. Handle it until we get there. Okay, go ahead. Goodbye. Seth, hang up on all of them. Just do it. Just for funsies. All right. I'm so confused, like, what just happened. With them or the phone lines? No, with him. Like, did he make the third throw? He made the third one just barely, though. Yeah. But the thing is, we're going best two out of three. And so, you know, he did those two other girl throws. Yeah. I think the third one he actually threw with his right hand. I think that was the difference. He threw him with his left hand? I mean, I hope he says that at least. Oh, no. He's not going to say that. Oh, here they are. I better shut up. Great job, Mike. I have to write an apology letter to Hacks off. Why is he so mad? He was mad. He was just trying to park. It's the official street rules. Mike doesn't know him. I yelled out car and he didn't care. Oh, he just got the same game on? Yeah, I thought he was selling one. I wasn't selling a car. I was like, what is it? What kind? That was fun. Yeah, that was fun.
The third chance, he got it. Best two out of three. That's right. What? I had to take off my flip-flops. It wasn't. Oh, that's weird. We're all very proud of you, Mike. You did great. He's got to go back to the doctor. That was great. Did you pull something? I'm telling you, man, last night. So, it's been six weeks, right? Yeah. So, I can pick up Jake. Oh, no. So I decide to pick him up, start swinging him around. Baby steps, ever hear of it? Ease yourself back. Dude, like the area below my waist and above my, you know, stuff. Your penis? Okay. Is that what he means? Is that what he's talking about? what he was referring to. That's a technical term. Find me some penis and crack good job. It could be crass, call it a doink. Why would you do that? I was playing and when I was all done, that area right there, I was like, ow, ow. You haven't used those muscles. Now you're out trying to throw a football a very small distance. Hey, come on.
I'm looking at the news. I'm like, what is this? What is good? What is good? How about we do new releases? Because we didn't get to do the new releases yesterday. Let's do some of them. Awesome! Okay, so here we go. New video games that came out this week. We have Two Human for Xbox 360. Who's that? Let's see. It's a sci-fi action-adventure game. Chronicles of Futuristic Conflict. Who knows? All right. Sounds like a blast. We also have Ratchet and Clank Future Quest for Booty. That sounds weird. That's really weird. What? Yeah. Future Quest for Booty. Oh. All in. All in. You don't even know what it's about. I'm Clinkit. Clanko. I'm Clankit. Okay. I'm Clinko.
Okay. We have Galaga Legions for the Xbox 360. Galaga? Yeah. Dude, I had the record for Galaga at 7-Eleven on First Street in Gilroy for like two years. What is Galaga? How does it work? I know it's a video game, but I don't know which one it is. You've never played Galaga? Let me tell you which ones I know. Centipede's the one. I don't know what Centipede is. Asteroids is the one. I don't know how it works. I mean, you played at the arcade. No, no, no. No, no, no. Like, dude, let me explain what my video game arcade experience would be like. I would put in a quarter, play for approximately 10 seconds and die. Then the next guy would come up. Five seconds, die. Next guy would come up. Ten seconds, game over. Wow, that doesn't sound fun at all. It wasn't, so I didn't go very often. So I don't remember what Galaga was. I don't remember what Centipede was. I know Asteroids was the one where the spaceship's in the middle of the screen, and you turn around and shoot the asteroids coming at you. That's it. That's all I remember. Awesome. It's a shooter game. How does it work? You have a guy at the bottom of the screen. You're just shooting stuff that's coming down at you and that kind of thing. That's cool. Yeah.
For like three grand, you can buy a stand-up full-size arcade game. Are you really? And it's got that. It's got Galaga. It's got Centipede Asteroids. Do you know which one you'd get, Eddie? I'm not sure yet. It comes with all three. Well, that's a certain one. You can get all kinds of different kinds. The one that we saw in the SkyMall catalog had Asteroids, Centipede, and Galaga on it. And it's a stand-up. I would never play Asteroids. You wouldn't? No. Boring. What about Centipede? Centipede's cool. Okay, and then finally, on video game this week, we have Smash Court Tennis 3 for the Xbox 360. New music out this week. Stained with their new one, The Illusion of Progress. You crinkled your nose. Been there, done that? I'm a fan of Stained, and that was kind of a letdown for me. Kind of been there. Yeah. It just kind of sounds like it could have been on any of the other albums. We get it. Your dad didn't go to your soccer game. All right. Also released yesterday was Swayze with their self. She's like the wind. No, that's Swayze. This is Swayze. Such a good song. That wouldn't be in the car and I would be really digging it. I would feel like I was trying to be cool.
But I wouldn't actually be digging it. Yeah, it's a huge song right now, actually. Really? Yeah, it's real popular. Snow Daughtry, right? It'd have to be much more feminine. For sure. Yeah. For sure. Also, with the new album out yesterday was... Well, first of all, it wouldn't be on Sophie, so why would I be listening to it? You know what I mean? It might be on Sophie. What's that? What's Sophie? It's called Estrogen is the name of the station. Yeah. It's a new station here called Estrogen. I support it. Yeah. So also with the new album out yesterday was Ice Cube with raw footage. Now this is actually in my car right now. I've been listening to this for a week. I can't buy Ice Cube anymore as a rapper. No way. Now that he's in those like family slapstick movies. Are we there yet? Yeah. Like you listen to Ice Cube. When he was in NWA, there was no scarier guy on the planet than that guy. Do we have anything in the system that's that? I doubt it. NWA is pretty gnarly lyrics. I think there might be. It would just be one long beat. Check yourself. Do your thing. It was a good day. $100 bill, y'all. It was a good day. It was a good day, dude. Straight out of comedy. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Right, Eddie? Hell to the yes. Put your gun away. Where would you hear it? Okay, question. Did they play this on KWSS in San Jose? What is that? KWS? Yeah, it's a top 40 station. It was a big station. I still have this cassette. Really? Nice. Never heard it. We have one NWA song in the system. What is it? And it's the bad one. Are the words bleeped out of it? Something about the police. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I know that one. Let's hear it. About to witness the strength of street knowledge. I remember that. Where did I hear this? I don't think I heard it on the streets. I'm just trying to think where I could have heard that. Where was I when I was young? You were a break dancer.
That is correct. Maybe that was it. Pull out the old cardboard, Mike. Let's go. That's right. That was linoleum. Yeah, dude. When you're in a troupe, though, you step up to linoleum. It was a crew, not a troupe. You're thinking we called ours a troupe. Or no, you're thinking about the brownies. No, no, no. I was thinking of the Ukrainian dance troupe. No, no, no, no. You guys were tightrope artists. You were tights. That's weird. Walked on tightropes. You guys were a good troop, though. Thank you. I tried to perform well. Okay. Well, the Goo Goo Dolls have another Greatest Hits out this week. Anyone? Goo Goo Dolls, Greatest Hits. Have all your two CD and DVD. Everybody looking forward to that. And we get it. You like eyeliner. Have a real choppy blonde haircut. You cut yourself. This is a good song. I love the Goo Goo Dolls. No, you can't because there was music under there. I would never say that. I would never say that in a way where it could be taken. All right, and then finally, if you have little girls in the house, you want to know that the Cheetah Girls One World soundtrack came out. Here you go, Rob. The end of the Cheetah Girls. Listen, this is actually like his homepage. Well, he's mouthing the lyrics. Yeah, exactly. He can't stop shaking his butt.
Okay, so DVDs that came out yesterday. We have Street Kings with Keanu Reeves and Forrest Whitaker. Anybody? I'm a cop. Oh, yeah. That looked terrible. Oh, that looked terrible. Yeah, a training day call that once it's... No, we're kidding, man. All right. Also out yesterday was Prom Night with Brittany Snow. You know, remake of the horror film. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Pettigrew, who knows, lives for a day. Frances McDormand, that came out yesterday. And, you know, again, if you have little girls in the house, Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, best of both worlds concert on DVD, 3D. Rob, do you like... Do you want to hear the most annoying sound in the world? Hannah Montana better or Miley Cyrus better? Both equally. Also on DVD. They're completely different. Yeah, Rob. One's a normal high schooler. One's a rock star. You either like one or the other. You can't be liking both. That's weird. Who's your favorite Jonas brother? The tall one. Sneezy? No, sleepy. Brow is the short one. What about eyeball?
All right, also out on DVD, we had the TV movie recount with Kevin Spacey just come out on DVD. Oh, right on. Yeah, it's really good. Not right on. It was really good. Upsetting. It's upsetting to watch, I know. It's troubling and disturbing, but... Yeah, but anyway. Wow. TV shows to DVD. I don't like Democracy. Terminator. I love Democracy. Apparently you don't. You don't. You don't love America because that's the way it goes. You hate America because you want to destroy it. Really? You're a hanging Chad. You're a Chad. Eddie won. Okay, TV shows to DVD. We have Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, the complete first season. Gossip Girls, the complete first season. House, season four. Dexter, the second season. Perry Mason, season three. Isn't House all jacked up like Sean? You're saying the actual guy. Yeah, well, yeah. One step away from a criminal. Okay, we have Married with Children, the Complete Night season. Wait, wait, wait, go back. What was that other one, Scott? Go back. It was Perry Mason, season three, volume one. Oh, thank you. Sean, so anything from that was previously unavailable, right? Like you couldn't see anything of that.
Well, Time Life did release a limited set of Perry Mason episodes. But the problem was they weren't the original. Like they edited them for syndication. Back then, they didn't have as many commercials as they do now. So these actually have the full, complete episodes, and they're remastered. Thank you. Married with Children, the complete ninth season. That's what we should do. And Anthony Bourdain, No Reservations, Collection 3. Enjoy. Maybe for 28 hours, we watch an episode of Perry Mason. Love it. I've been trying to stay awake. I've never seen it. Yeah, you don't want to see it. Don't start. 570-1053 is a phone number beginning and end of every show. We do open phones. You can call about anything you want to. So give us a call. If you want AOs on the line. I was talking about the street, so I had to get in. Homie, what's happening? What's up, AO? Chili, you know your boy's doing his thing. I'm on my work 9 to 5 right now. You know, go on the call and say, hello. Know what I mean? Yeah, I got you. I feel you. Hey, I got a story for you. Yo, check it out. Last week, I was a... Pardon me.
Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Dude, you're the guy that screamed. That's fantastic. Yeah, so he gave me a jump, and he was like, dude, I love you. You have to scream every time. But I was like, no, this is the word curse, brother. He was like, just hook it up one time. So, you know, I gave him a little yelp right there, and then we were on our way. Give us a live one right now, Ayo. Word up, I got your back like a car seat. That's fantastic. That's fantastic. There's 12-year-old girls going, wow, he can really get up there, man. I love it. Yo, I take it easy, man. All right, Ayo. P1 Theo's on the line. Theo! You fooled us. We thought it was up. Theo! What's going on? What's up, Theo? When's the 28-hour show starting? 28-hour show. No.
The 28-hour show. Wait, can we not? I say no to all of that. I veto that. 28-hour show. I refuse. That's when we go on the air for 28 straight hours. Never heard of it. No commercials. Right? Somebody's stupid. Just us, 28 straight hours. Let's do the 28-minute show. My favorite. It's always in October and November. That's soon, Mike. That's soon. Yeah, it's soon because we're coming up on September. I want to vomit. A month after that's October. Before you know it'll be November. Okay. Just stop it, Mike. So, yeah. We're good. We're good. Go on for 28 straight hours. Okay. Take it down and off. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's pretty brutal. Stop it. Okay. Thank you for the call. Mikey Show. Hey, it's Clemba. Hey, Clemba. Hey, Clemba, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, my God. What's going on? Dude, that guy P1AO, I want to know him. Hey. I want to know him. I'm calling him out. I want him on P1 site. I want him to call me every day and scream at me. Yeah. Every day. You're telling me P1 AO is not on P1 site? No. Where is he? If he doesn't have internet, I'll figure out a way to give him internet. What would it take? I had no idea. I would have thought that he... What do you think? He's diddy. He ain't got no computer. Come on. I want to find him. I want to hug him. I want to tell him he makes my day every day. There you go. I need him in my life.
If you're listening, I love you. Thank you. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, this is P1 Free Show, and I had a question for Eddie and Sean. I was wondering who they think would win in a fight. Bill and Ted or Wayne and Garth? That's a good one, but Sean is off. Sean's already signed off. Yeah, yeah. So if Wayne, like a tag team match? Yeah. I would say probably Bill and Ted. They're stoners. They're younger. Wayne and Garth in reality are like 44, so they have more experience. They'll tire quicker. All right, dude. Thank you for the call. Lovely and talented Missy is coming up next. And today on the Nooners, she has the all-request lunch, so it should be real cool. Call, make a request. We'll see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show is out.
