The show opened with Mikey recounting a vivid dream of a fighter jet shattering a glass skyscraper window, then segued into football talk and the upcoming 28‑hour marathon. Throughout the broadcast the crew revisited recurring features like the Hot Seats retrospective, the McRib test market discussion, and the interactive P1 Password game that awarded Metallica tickets. A major theme was relationships and privacy, highlighted by a heated debate about reading partners’ journals, personal confessions from callers like P1D, and the trust‑bank‑account analogy offered by Lizzie. The episode closed with light‑hearted trivia, the Trophy Lounge game, and reminders about the 28‑hour show schedule.

The stock market had the biggest point drop since the 9-11 attacks yesterday after news of two major investment banks going through bankruptcy and forced sales. What a crazy Monday night football game last night. Both teams went back and forth all game long, but the Cowboys were able to pull off a 41-37 win over the Eagles. Tony Romo talks about the number of lead changes that they had. I'll tell you what. I was... I was sitting in bed working on the laptop, and I had the TV either on mute or really low. And it seemed like every time I looked up, somebody was scoring a touchdown, and not just a touchdown, but a bomb. They would just go back and forth, like nobody played defense last night. Craziness. It was unbelievable. Crazy. So, yeah, exciting. Exciting weekend of football. Ended last night with that.
Our phone number, 570-1053. Call us, man. Call us and talk about it. What is it? It's not just the best picture back in 1992, I'll tell you that. That's for sure. It is anything, man. Anything you want to talk about. 570-1053. And our text number is 35253. It's going to be a good day because Skye's rocking the Blackhead band today. Yep, good day. She's got it rocking. Always a good sign. Yay. Yay. That's right. And today's walk and talk, right? Well, yeah, we have a special meeting today, a special show meeting today. Oh, so you guys are not going to walk and talk. We're going to walk and talk tomorrow. Ashley and Skye do something that they call the walk and talk on Tuesdays. It's so great. It's awesome. Where they dress up in their little workout outfits. Brisk, brisk walk. Well, Ashley puts on workout clothes. I just wear what I wear to work. Okay. Because there's not much of a difference between what I wear to work and what you can work out in. That's right. And...
And then Ashley talks to Skye, and Skye listens, and it's pretty neat. Skye talks back sometimes. Yes, I do sometimes. Occasionally I have a thing or two. Well, I'll ask her occasionally. Yeah, yeah. But I enjoy hearing about Sammy and about the love of her life, Mark. There's always lots going on there with the doggy daycare and the whole shebang. There you go. It's a party, Mike. Let's be honest. That sounds pretty fun, you know? I had the RSVP that I couldn't make it, but, you know, I listened. But see, you didn't know we moved it to tomorrow, so now you're good. Gotta look at my schedule, huh? You know, it's a theme party, and the theme is annoying. Oh, wow. Look at that. You're welcome as well. You would fit in perfectly. Actually, I choose not to attend. You got jokes. Don't think so, actually. Not quite as annoying as your shirt today, but... Oh, man. Please, this is America. We all have a right to... What's wrong with Ashley's shirt? I like her shirt. Ashley's shirt is gorgeous. What's wrong with Sky's shirt? I don't know. What do you got rocking? Stand up. Oh, how dare you? Oh, look it. Oh, she's disgusting. She's got on an Obama shirt. Let me see the back. Stand for change. Obama 08. Let me see the front. Let me describe it. It's a picture of Barack Obama and his wife.
kissing his hand, you know, because he's king. He's king. No, the pinky. They're fist bumping, Mike. They're fist bumping? Yes. No, is that for real? It's a take off on the New Yorker cover. Yeah, and then in the background. It's a takeoff on the New Yorker cover? Yeah, like they're blasting the New Yorker cover because the New Yorker did this, like, I guess crazy cover where they showed the two of them in the Oval Office fist bumping with a picture of like Osama bin Laden hanging over the fireplace and an American flag burning in the fireplace. And so this is like, this is a takeoff on that. So it's them fist bumping in the Oval Office with a picture of Martin Luther King hanging over the fireplace and then a copy of the New Yorker burning in the fireplace. Love it. Yeah. Oh, wow. Thank you. Where do you get such a thing? It was a gift from my mommy. Wow. Skinner. Yeah. Coming through. Wow. You didn't even support the guy at one point. I mean, John Edwards was your candidate. I just don't understand why now all of a sudden you're... Well, not all of a sudden, but since he got the nomination, I mean, it's no surprise that I would have supported whatever Democratic candidate got into it. To the point of wearing a t-shirt? Yeah. It was given to me as a gift, and I like it. Wow. Disappointing.
Why is that disappointing? I think that's great. I think that's America. No. I think it's awesome. Yay me. Well, listen. Opposite. Happy Tuesday. Yay me. What up? What up? America. Look into it. Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text, 35253. And I do not have a John McCain. T-shirt. Yeah, but you did have plenty of Huckabee stuff. He had a bumper sticker. He was my guy. I appreciate that, Mike. You stick with your candidate. He was my guy. No flip-flopping from you. Well, it's not called flip-flopping when your candidate doesn't get the nomination. Well, it kind of is. I mean, if you believe in Edward's policies and politics, and now you don't. Which are very similar to Obama's and Hillary's. They were all very similar. But yet different. A tiny bit, yeah. That's right. Well. Whoever lets you sleep at night. You are so dramatic this morning. I'm dramatic. Are you okay? You come in here wearing that garbage shirt. Are you okay? Do you need more Gatorade? Are you okay? Oh, no. 570. What's going to make this better? 105.3. It's purple magic. It makes everything better. Call us right now and give us your thoughts. Please. 35253. I'm chilling over here. It's purple magic. 35253 is our text. Make her go home. No.
I know. It's like school where you have to go home and change because you're wearing something so offensive. It's offensive. You're wearing something so offensive. Then half of the American population offends you. That's right. That is the truth. That's right. Me and Sky are in agreement on that one. We're both offended by half the American public. That's scary, man. I know it. Let's see. Man, I had... Sometimes I have these dreams that are kind of creepy, but yet I really... enjoy them. And last night I had one of these dreams. It was, I was in this beautiful high rise building, downtown San Diego, although the skyline looked different, but that's dreams, you know? Right. And so I'm in this, uh, you know, top floor and it's beautiful. It's all glass from floor to ceiling. And there's a woman. Sitting in this beautiful chair. Because this is like one of those stately rooms with marble floors and like a piano. And, you know, a guy sitting there playing the piano with white gloves on. And there's this very stately woman sitting in this very stately chair. And there are fighter planes flying over. But they're at the same level as we are because we're on this top floor. And one of these fighter planes.
does a deal where it sort of stops by the outside of this window, and it's kind of hovering there. And it's so loud, you know, because it's got jet engines. And it sort of turns so that the back of the engines and the back of the aircraft are facing this window that we're in. And it backs into and shatters this glass in this sort of THX surround sound, like, you know. I always think to myself, what do dreams mean? What do they say about what we're thinking and what do they, you know, what do they mean? Especially when they're so vivid, you know what I mean? And I don't have really vivid dreams all the time. I was talking to my wife's friend, Lori, the other day, and she was talking about dreaming about flying. And I used to have those dreams all the time. I never dream about flying anymore. But when I did, I said to her,
Like you're flying or you're on a plane? Me flying. Okay. And I said to her, you know, when I would fly, it was almost like swimming. I would have to sort, like if you were at the bottom of a swimming pool and you were coming to the top of the swimming pool, you'd have to kick your legs and you'd have to move your arms to move yourself up. And she goes, oh my goodness, that's what mine are like too. She goes, I would have never admitted it because that sounds so silly. I would have never said it out loud. But since you're saying it, yeah, that's the deal. And so dreams are very interesting to me. 570-1053 is the phone number. And at the beginning and end of every show, you can call in about anything you want to. The 28-hour show, the date is set October the 8th. It's a Wednesday. We go on the air 6 a.m. on Wednesday. We get off the air at 10 a.m. on Thursday. 28, no, not, no. It's a good thing. You got that right, Sean. You're good. 28 straight hours of broadcasting with no commercials, no breaks. We just go for it. We go. And you get to be the beneficiary. You get to listen to this 28. It's like the Mikey show for 28 straight hours. It's great. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 35 years of age.
And I knew him when he was 12 and I was 15. We were just kids. And we had it all figured out. There's no doubt about it. We had it figured out. Adults were kind of dumb. There was some show on Food Network last night that I'd never seen before. It was all about our hometown. Really, Gilroy? Yeah. We grew up in the garlic capital of the world. It was called How'd That Get on My Plate? Never heard of it before. Sounds scrumptious. It was all about garlic and all about Gilroy. Really? Wow. So I'm sure they showed the weird stuff? No, it was all about Gilroy Foods and how they make the granulated garlic and all that stuff. Awesome. I would love to tape that. It was a trip. I got Fringe on my TiVo I got to watch. Nice. There's another episode tonight. You're going to get behind. I'm season pass, though, so I'm going to catch them all. I'm going to get them all. Sky's our news girl. She's the one in the headband and the Obama shirt. Hi. She's 30. She's a liberal dem. It's true. And, yeah, her dude was John Edwards. And then... Prior to the scandal. Prior to the scandal. Otherwise, no way, right? I know you like him. I love him. Yeah, it would have changed a lot. I'm going to change it for you. Yeah. Now, what about in... What about in 2012?
If he came back, are you out? Yeah, I mean, I like his vision for the country, which is similar to Hillary and Obama's vision, but now due to finding out more about his personal life and the cheating on the wife, that's really changed my view of him as a person. I really thought he was this humanitarian, and maybe he still could be, but now I feel like he's disrespected his family, he's disrespected his wife, and that's not the kind of person I want to support. So, no, I would probably support another candidate if he came back, which he wouldn't because he's basically been almost kicked out of the Democratic Party now. Shawnee O'Boy is our sound effects guy. Oh. That's right. He's 38 years old. Oh, gosh. Not that face. Okay. And he's giving this very benevolent little smile right now. He reminds me of like a happy little mouse. That's right. He's like a character you would see in a Jim Carrey starring sort of Dr. Seuss film, you know? That's what he's like. You can stop now. Sweet little guy. All righty. Oh, boy. And then he turns vicious. Oh, villain. He plays sound effects for us. Give us an example, Shawnee. Look at his face. There it is. Oh, wow. There you go.
I want to wrestle you so freaking bad. Ashley is our assistant producer. Sorry. And she is a blonde girl. And she's got perfectly, perfectly dispersed bangs. Thank you. That's the way she tells us. She tells us she disperses them. I like her bangs. Across my forehead. That's right. Across her forehead. That's right. Mommy's from the Bay Area. And she's got a boyfriend named Mark. His name's really not Mark. That's weird. But he was called Mark one night. And why did Boy Blender call him Mark? We don't know. We don't know why he called him Mark. Because he had just introduced him to him. It was very catchy. They're not even similar in the name. Not even close. He started calling Mark. It was weird. Look, he was in a hunger fever. What do you want? Oh, come on. The guy wasn't thinking straight. Oh, no. That's right.
His food levels were very low. Very low. Well, they always are pretty low. They had to connect him to an IV full of food. It just said food on it. And by IV, we mean garden hose. All right. Please. Boston Rob, he's 25. And he is our songwriter, right? Yeah. He's our friend. That's a fact. Yeah. Sounds good. And he cracks wise jokes. Yeah. Laugh out loud. He's a wiseacre. That's right. Yeah. And he's a would-be television star. Oh. He's trying to be on that show Wipeout on ABC. Went and auditioned for it. Actually got called back to a second audition. Yeah. Well, this went well. Which he did. He went to the second audition. And that one went so well that he can't talk about it. Ooh. He's under some sort of a gag order. He's not allowed to talk about it. Is that your Arizona tea? Is that my what? Yeah. Is he awake? Yeah, what's going on? I don't know. What's the deal with it, Rob? What time did you go to bed last night? Midnight? What the? I can't sleep lately, man. I don't know what's wrong with me.
Well, yeah, but this story is not very different than about a year ago. About a year ago, you'd say, listen, Mike, I got some stuff. About a year ago? Oh, dude, you're always going to bed late. You go to bed late. Oh, yeah, wicked. Wicked late. Wicked late. Wicked late. And then you get up wicked early. Look at Eddie's face. Eddie's looking at him like, I don't get that. I know. I was laying down at 9. I didn't go to sleep until midnight. Yeah? I was laying down. What were you watching? Nothing. You just slayed there for three hours? Wow. Yeah, it's real fun. That sounds like a party. It is such a party. Yeah. Maybe see a doctor for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let him know. I think there's a term for that. A physician. You should let a physician know that that's going on and he could help you. I was lucky to fall asleep by midnight though. Yeah. On the weekends, I can't go to bed until like three or four. What time you wake up? On the weekends? Yeah. No, no, no. What time you wake up like during the week? During the week? Yeah. A little past four. Oh, wow. That's a lot. That's not much sleep. Uh-uh. Do you nap in the day? Uh, if I can. Yeah, how much did you get? Yesterday, I got, like, a half-hour nap. What's the longest you'll get in a nap? Oh, an hour and a half. Well, that's a pretty good one. Yeah, but that maybe happens once a week. Wow. Yeah. Yesterday, I had a packed day. Yeah, well, we'll talk off the air about how we'll fix all of it. If you got solutions, dude, I got open ears. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
And then there is Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MDDDS.com. I thought he was incorporated. Oh, yeah. What happened? Did he lose his status? Yes. Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates, Jr., III, Esquire, MDDDS, Inc.com. How do you remember that every day? It's very sing-songy, like the Alamo. Sing-songy. Oh, okay. Sing-songy like the Alamo. I can relate to that. Like the Alamode. My friend Chris left me a message on my voicemail yesterday. And as he wrapped it up, he said, you call me here, you know, you call me at this number. Listen, you know how to get a hold of me. It's not brain science. That is true. That's rad. That's right. It's not rocket surgery. Nope. He's smart. All right. 570-1053 is the number. 35253 is our text. P1, a heart attack is on the line. What's up? Hey, how you doing, Mikey? Good. Good. I was trying to find out if Sean has seen the show True Blood yet on HBO. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I've seen the first two episodes. Of course he has. Not too impressed, though. I don't...
No, I thought the acting was real thin. I thought the scripting was pretty weak. I don't know. I don't think we've had somebody call and ask Sean if he's seen something he hasn't seen. That is true. That's a good point. And I don't care. You should opt for Sons of Anarchy. It's a great show. Okay. Never heard of that. It's really good. Ron Perlman, he's awesome. Yeah, it's on the Dire Dread Network, so I don't know if you've heard of that. The Dire Dread Network. It's a great show. That and The Shield. Both are really good. Really good. All right, well, thanks, guys. Have a good day. You got it, dude. Mr. P1. This is P1, Mr. Senior. He goes by P1, Mr. Senior. Go ahead, dude. I'm over here in Point Loma, and I just drove by. You guys have a new billboard. Oh, nice. I got a little, like, Adam's family vibe to it. It's actually pretty funny. Yeah, it does kind of have that. Awesome. You know. Do you get what it actually is supposed to look like? No, I got a quick glance at it, actually, but I like it. You know, it's really cool. Yeah. It's supposed to be a class photo. Oh, there you go. Okay, cool, cool. All right, dude. Adam's family, Adam's family. Yep.
You know what's cool about the billboard is that if you pass our billboard every day, you see the seven of us on there. If you pass it every day, you almost pick up a little something each time. Oh, yeah. A little something different. It's got another little nugget in there to offer each time you go back. P1 Rondo, tell everybody what a P1 is. A P1 is someone who turns down the radio, gets straight to the point, doesn't cuss, and turns other people onto the mic. Well said. Very nice. What's going on? Hey, I was just calling to see if you guys are going to do one of the old 28-hour show bits this year. Which one? I don't know. Maybe a little something called the Hot Seats. Oh, man. Look at you. Shut your dirty mouth. You are just crazy and out of your door. You're insane, sir. You want us to break up? Well.
The hot seat is, we had to stop doing it because it was ruining our friendships. Yeah, that's very true. Yeah, the hot seat used to be this thing where we did it. And what we would do is we would ask these questions that were like the hardest personal questions ever. And we were on the hot seat. We had to answer it. The whole point was to upset each other. Yeah, I mean, it just was terrible. But boy, wasn't it fun to listen to? No. Not for me. Hey, thanks for calling. 570-1053 is the phone number. And the text is 35253. Let's see. Mikey, just wanted to let you know that they have the McRib here in Illinois. I'm listening online. That's P1 Roy. Eddie, get a plane ticket. Eddie just put his fist to his mouth as if to say... How quickly could I book a flight? Well, I don't understand. How can they have it in Illinois and not the rest of the country? It's so delicious. I mean, with the pickle and the onion. And the fake little bones. Yeah, the fake bones. They sit in the sauce all day long just marinating. Yeah. Put it on that delicious bun. Oh, my word. Eddie loves it.
Eddie, maybe this is an indication that they're going to do it. Like a test market? Mm-hmm. Why not just put the McRib on the menu? Forever. Forever. But then would it be a special? Maybe that's it, right? It's better than half the junk they got on there. You don't want to be desensitized to it. Mm-hmm. Eddie, what do you think of the chicken? Eddie, what do you think of that southern chicken sandwich at McDonald's? I think, first of all, shame on you, McDonald's. Here we go. They're trying to completely rip off Chick-fil-A, little Chick-fil-A, just trying to make a little piece in the world, just trying to grab that little brass ring. And they can't because giant McDonald's corporation has to come in and say, you know what, we're going to steal your idea and there's nothing you can do about it. At least change the recipe a little bit, McDonald's. Yeah. But no, they got to do it exactly like Chick-fil-A. And Chick-fil-A does it best. It's the best. They're delicious. That's good. They're delicious. Oh, man. This sounds like it might be good. Zeth is our phone screener. Okay. And I look up on line one and it says that P1 Johnny wants to tell me about the horrible job Zeth is doing. And Zeth had to type that in.
Thank you. Wow. Aw, that's a fun way to start your day. P1 Johnny. Good morning. Good morning. Now, Johnny, my guess is that you have probably talked to Zeth a few times. A couple times, you're right, this morning. A couple times this morning. Now, and what about in days past? No, I haven't called for a while. And as I am speaking to you, I'm looking across the console at Boston Rob, who used to be the phone screener. And Rob has a look on his face like... I know this guy. I know this guy. He's the guy that has called in many a times and gotten into it with you on the air over trivial things. I see. Johnny, you know what you've called and fought with Mikey about. Johnny, well, instead of doing that, Johnny, tell me, what is it that you're calling about today? Okay. Remember when you were talking about Edwards and Sky's opinion about him and how she flip-flopped on him right away, you know, because of the fact that he was fooling around? That's not true, but okay. Okay, well, anyway, I thought that was appropriate to bring up the subject that Palin walks the walk. She's pro-life, yet she found out that she, through amniocentesis, she found out that she was carrying a retarded child.
Mentally challenged. Special needs. Mentally challenged. Hey, bro, the baby was not retarded. The baby had Down syndrome. Okay, excuse me. It has Down syndrome, which is, it is a child that does not have the faculties of a normal person, right? It is lower. Okay, but the point of the matter is not whether or not Palin's good or ideology's the best, but the point that I'm trying to make is, I really think it's great and refreshing, no matter whether they want. to, you know, go forward with the Republican mindset or they believe, you know, a stronger military, whatever. I'm refreshed by the fact that they walk, they talk, they go through their life and do what they say and say what they do. And I think that's really refreshing. And that's what I was trying to get across. And when I brought up that subject to Zeph, he cut my feet out from underneath me. He goes, no, that doesn't sound good. It's too early for that guy. Can't do it right now. I got to tell you. I got to tell you, bro. Definitely when you started right now, I thought, man, this is a heavy tone, isn't it? Yeah. There's no doubt about it. I got to hand it to that Zeth. Yeah. That kid is figuring out phone screening. He really is figuring out phone screening. And he's getting like, hey, man, the mood is getting a little lighter. It's starting to feel pretty good. If I put this guy through, we're going to have a real heavy segment.
The point is that you say in the morning at the opening of the show or at the end of the show. Absolutely. Hey, guys, come in and call about anything you want to talk about. Yeah, and I can explain that. I can explain that, too. I can explain that. I say call in and talk about anything you want. And what Zeth does is he makes sure that the tone of that anything you want is kind of keeping people that are driving in their cars kind of entertained. Because our first... But do you think that's a heavy point? I don't know that the point of it was necessarily heavy, but I would say that the delivery of it was definitely pretty heavy. And, you know, I think that that's a deal. It's not necessarily what you're saying, maybe, in as much as how you're saying it. Rob, what's up with your boy, man? I don't know, man. I thought that was light and cheery, and I'm ready to crack some jokes. Stop giving him so much junk. I guess it's just frustrating because you say to call in about anything you want, and then you get shut down when you call in. I really like your show, and that's why I do call in. Well, dude, I want you to keep liking it, and I want you to keep calling. He's just like you. He's just going to work trying to do the best he can, and he's just trying to do his thing. You know what I mean?
Yeah. He's just trying to do his thing. But hey, man, you got my email? Yeah. I mean, I'll tell you what. I'm going to give you my email email because I want to talk to you. So I'm going to give you my email email, all right? You got it. Hang on a second. Yeah, Seth, give him AOL. Are you sure? Yep. All right. P1 Robert. That was a move. Wow. Robert, you there? Yeah, I'm here. Go ahead. Yeah, just informed me today's Mexican Independence Day. Oh, really? Yeah, it happened 16th. Yeah, I remember when you guys celebrated Cinco de Mayo. It's a real deal. Nice. Hola. They didn't know that. This was, I thought that, yeah, so what is Cinco de Mayo? What is it? That's a battle between the Mexicans and the French, and it didn't even happen the 5th. It happened the 7th. It didn't happen in Puebla.
Yeah, I'm around 30 miles away. Be careful, dude. My dad's going to adopt you before you know it. Any second. Yeah, but today's the real deal. Oh, man, would my dad. Where did you guys get your independence from? Like, what country do you have to be? Spain. Oh, good for you. Yeah. We feed up on England. Thank you. We've never stopped. That's right. We've never stopped. That's right, David Beckham. What? That's a good point, Rob. Oh, I didn't think of that. Hey, thank you for your call, Robert. Okay, man. Take care. All right. I love you guys. All right. There it is. There it is. Oh, my God. He is so happy right now, my dad. Let's see. Some of the other text messages that we're getting. Mikey, vote for change. Sky, change your shirt. That's a good idea. That's a good idea. Amen. No thing. Mikey, do you guys think I would get my car keyed if I put a McCain sticker on my car? Well, I mean, no more than you get your car keyed by putting an Obama sticker on your car. Somebody's always not going to like your sticker. Wackos are wackos. Yeah. That's how many beers I have. Hey, Eddie, how about, and this may be something good for us to talk about when we come back. Hey, Eddie, how about Deshaun Jackson?
Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Throwing the ball behind him on the one-yard line last night and not scoring that touchdown. No! Because he was showboating. Oh, no! Wow. We will talk about it. Yeah, we got the audio of it. Coming up. Text us at 35253. Play the audio of that next. We're going to do P1 Password today. Got an email from a girl that hates those girly posters and calendars. We got another email from a guy who's getting married and her parents hate him. We're going to do P1 trivia today so that somebody can come into the studio on Friday. Some electric audio of Meghan McCain. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. And don't forget, the 28-hour show, Wednesday, October 8th. Get the day off, will you? Brian Regan in the stand-up spotlight. Married, but why is it okay to slam husbands? On TV commercials. I don't get that. The wife is always out front in the commercial. My husband is so stupid. He's in the back, tangled up in the blind. Do you see what I endure? Why, if he were lying face down, he wouldn't have sense enough to turn his head to breathe. That's why I do his thinking for him. Like buying him these muffins. And they're good, too! He's got a tiny, dumb little husband brain.
I've known anything like that on his own. As a professional contractor, some things are a given. You need the right products. You need the right prices. Mikey, when will you announce the 28-hour show movies? That's what this text message says. And what they mean by that is we watch two movies on the 28-hour show at nighttime. 10 o'clock at night, we watch the first one. When that one ends, we take a little small break, and then we start watching the second one. And what we do is we just sit there, we have you sync up with the movie at home, and then we make fun of the movie, like the show Mystery Science Theater 3000. It's great. And we will announce what those 28-hour show movies are once we... 100% are certain of the ones we want to use. And we're not right now. We have a lot of ideas, but we don't know which ones we're going to do. And there's going to be a lot of decisions made concerning the 28-hour show within the next few days. But we wanted to be able to give you the date because people like to do stuff. Turns into Woodstock around this place. Every year shocks me in its scope. Every single year I am like, I remember a moment.
I remember a moment last year and I bet Eddie, you know exactly what I'm talking about. There's a moment where Eddie goes, dude, look outside and we're live. You know, we're all this all happening live. It wasn't nighttime. Wasn't it? Yeah. And so I got up, took my headphones off, walked over to Eddie's side of the console, looked out the window into the parking lot. And there were all these hundreds of people partying together, having a good time. And there's people out there dressed as. Yeah. Because Sean had announced earlier in the day that he used to be a furry. It was crazy. I mean, you sent me out there with a cell phone, and I got swarmed by hundreds of people. And I was like, really? Yeah. And it kind of gave me a little boost to get through the night because it was such a crazy experience out there. I was really blown away. So it's pretty amazing. Okay, so before we went to break, we told you.
About this rookie. Eddie, talk about it. He'll never do this again. But, you know, Donovan McNabb threw a long bomb to the rookie Deshaun Jackson. And he was coasting into the end zone. And right before he made it across the end zone, I guess he thought he was in. He just kind of flipped the ball behind him and was like, you know, getting ready to celebrate. But he was not in the end zone yet. And so it was a fumble. Oh, my gosh. Who recovered? I believe they didn't. They called it a dead ball. Nobody jumped on it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they gave it to the Eagles. And did they go in? They went in and finally scored, but it was crazy. Don't we have audio of it? Yeah, it's cut 44. Cowboys, I think my challenge. Oh, it is very close. That is close. It's a great dance, but it's also one of the all-time bonehead players. Can you believe that? He's got great dance moves. Great moves, but you might want to make those moves in the end zone. Oh, man. Quite literally a rookie move. Again, he will never do that again. He'll go to the back of the end zone before he lets that ball go. Mikey, you were talking about this once before, text message.
I wanted to share what I saw last night. A guy drive away from the gas pump with a nozzle still in his car. Made my night. Love your show. P1 Jesse. Made my night. Awesome. So, okay. I wanted to get to this yesterday. And I didn't have a chance to get to this yesterday. But Ashley is fantastic. She had an event in Chula Vista on Friday night at a cricket store. A great cricket store. And let's see. You were on the 125? Yeah. She didn't realize that the 125 was a toll road. And so mommy didn't have any money. And Eddie just winced. And she had to drive straight through it. It was $2.50. So she had to drive straight through it, which makes you nervous when you got to do that, right? That's bad. Now, on the way home, I don't know why, but on the way home, she thought to herself, surely.
There won't be a toll the other direction. Surely there won't. Why would? Now, more than that, my guess is mommy didn't know how to get home. And she knew the 125 would lead her there. And that's the only way she was going to go. That's a really good guess, Mike. And so she had to do it again. So that's two fines that she's going to be getting in the mail. Do we know how much that fine is? Ash. It said a minimum of $37.50. $37.50? Yeah, minimum fee. Man, I wonder how many people even know. I probably wouldn't have known. I probably would have jumped on there and not known it, or there's signs everywhere that say it, or what? Yeah, when you get to a certain point on the 125, it becomes a toll road. It'll say. So you have the opportunity to pull off if you don't want to keep going or something? Yeah. Yeah, well, the 125 is kind of confusing. Certain exits will take you to a toll, but it will go all the way through from the 8 to the 5. Really? Yeah, it turns into the 54 and then it goes to the 5. Now, apparently they have this in need of assistance question mark sign up at some point. And so Ash called it.
Well, because there's no person there. Like, it's an automatic toll road. So what's a girl supposed to do? And they don't take debit? Like, I don't have $2.50. So I called that number. Right. And they were closed after business hours. So I left a message telling them to please call me back. And I really wanted to pay. And I didn't have $2.50. But I will happily pay if they call me back. I have the money. I just didn't have cash. And they have not called me back. I did that in Texas one time. In Texas, it seems like there's a ton of them. Well, there's that toll road that we lived off of. You'd have to buy that fast pass. It's this thing that Velcroed to your windshield. Yeah, we got that. You just had to pay it all the time. Yeah. Well, so did you get something in the mail? When I did that? Yeah, in Texas. Oh, yeah, they take a picture of you. Yeah, and you get a bill. I try to smile. I try to look confused. Like, I don't have the money. And I was literally, like, showing my quarters because I had 65 cents. And I'm like, should I just toss that in there? And I'm like, no, they won't care. And then I'm like, this is all I have. Here's my debit card. Please. I would like to see a best of photographs that they must take. Oh, yeah.
Probably of a lot of women crying and pleading their case. Well, and I'd also like to hear back that voicemail, you know, that number that Ashley called. Yes. Because how many times do people call and say what Ashley said? And they're probably like rolling their eyes like, give me a break. How much would you love to hear what must happen when you press play on that the next morning? I mean, give me a break. That must be crazy. It was really unfair. This text says, hey, Mikey, I'm not sure who had it worse. The Chargers, Ramsey, the Gophers, or the Indians in 1842. That's P1 Mike. That's right. That's a tough one. Who knows? Who knows? Yeah, yeah. Who knows? Mikey, this election is just like the last one. There's no good candidate. That's P1 Mike. That's one dude's opinion. Let's see. Mikey, isn't it interesting? That Sky changed her view on Edwards, but she's still an avid Clinton fan. I never said that. I never said that. That was one of the reasons I didn't initially support Hillary is because I lost respect for her because she never left Bill. You were out on that. Yeah, and I've said that for a long time. I agree with her policy and what she's trying to do, but as a person, I don't have much respect for her because she didn't stand up for herself. That's right. Facey on the facey.

is a bummer because I think that Hockey League guy is a pretty decent dude that's been in the league for a long time. He's got the guns, Mike, that's for sure. He's very buff. I've got to come up with a different term for having muscles. I'm not really stoked about any of the ways that you say it. I don't like yoked. I don't like ripped. I don't like cut. I don't like... Sexy. No. Dead Sexy's pretty good. Oh, yeah. You know, that's... Most accurate. Yeah, we're getting a lot closer with that. What about this, though? Now it's time for P1 Password. Yes, it's time to play P1 Password. Yes, it's time to play P1 Password on the Mikey Show. This is P1 Password. Dude, I mean, this game, we're playing for Metallica tickets, first of all. And P1Password, the way that it works is that there are going to be two people on the Mikey show communicating with each other. What the point of the game is, is that they need to get five out of seven words communicated. All they can use is one word per word. So, for instance, let's say that the word were chicken. You could say cluck. And you, by the way, you only get...
Three chances. Like you could pass up to three times. No. You get three guesses per word. Right. You know, you give three clues. Right, right, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you could pass twice. Yes. Yes, yes. I'm terrible at this. It's just like the TV show. It's just like the TV show. It's like the TV show. Please. I should tell people it's just like the TV show and let them figure it out from there. Self-explanatory. All right. Let's do this. All we do now is we get somebody on the line that wants to play. Come on. P1 Kamikaze. Yes, sir. How you doing, man? I'm doing good. How are you? I'm good. Are you ready to let two members of the show possibly win you some Metallica tickets? Oh, boy. Yeah, come on, Sky and Ashley. Sky and Ashley. It's a good combo. They do speak the same language. All right, let's see. Let's see what we got. Let's see what we got. Sky is the first name drawing. She's a good clue giver. So Sky will be communicating with Ashley. Hold the shot. Sky will be communicating with Ashley. Wow. Awesome. Ashley is coming into the studio. Hang on the line, Kamikaze. All right.
Be right back with you, hopefully to tell you you've won. Ashley is coming in the studio. How we doing? We ready? How you feeling? I'm okay. Mommy's got her Adderall, too, which is good. Oh, good. No headphones. No headphones for you, Lily. Oh, yeah, no headphones. No headphones. So everybody listening is going to be able to hear the words that we're all hearing. The only person that cannot hear the words is Ashley. Yeah. So, again, Sky. is going to get a word. Rough, Eddie. We're all going to hear it. You can do it. Yeah, we're going to do great. Yeah, right here, girl. Right here. We're synced. Skye can try to communicate. That's gross. Skye can try to communicate that word to her, and she gets to do it with three different words. But that's it. Yeah. Now, if it's too tough, Skye can pass. Yeah. Either one of them can pass it twice, up to two times. We kick butt when it's opposite. When I describe the words and Skye translates what I'm saying. I mean.
You get lucky, I think, is the term. Okay. All right. Got to get five out of seven, guys. You ready? My brain is, like, on. Here we go. Oh, wow. Save that clip. Yes, please. And there was a lot of blinking going on on Ashley's part when she said that. Here we go. Okay. Ash, concentrate. Sky, you ready? Here we go. Ant. Insect. Bug. Black. Spider. Tiny. Ant. Yes. Rise. Bread. Butter. Yeast. Rise. Yes. Speaker. Music. Radio. Volume. Loud. Listen. Okay. Pass. Next word. Basketball. Kobe Bryant. Basketball. Yes. Peanut. Allergy. Banana.
Common. Shellfish. Common. Peanuts. Yes. Free. Pay. Forward. Cheap. Bargain. None. Sale. Fast. Lunch. Meal. Delicious. Middle. Lunch. Yes. That's it. You did that. Five out of seven words in a minute and a half. We are rad. We are rad. You guys are great. Wow. And you just won P1 Kamikaze Metallica tickets. That was close. Dude, you're going to see Metallica. All right. Hang on the line. Wow. Yeah, I got to mention, you get a minute and a half to get this done, and they did. Yeah, I didn't know it was hard when I was doing the peanut one because I didn't know if I could say nut.
Or not. Because it's part of... Okay, I didn't say it because I didn't know if I was allowed to say it or not. Can't say something that's part of the word. I'm so good at that. Everybody remember, you can only say one word. You can't say two words. What did I say? Kobe Bryant. Oh! Let it slide. Yeah, thank you. All right, I'm reaching into the hat. Oh, here we go. First name I pull will be the communicator. The second name I pull will be the person getting the words. It's a lot to live up to. First name is... Don't be Zeth. Don't be Zeth. Zeth. First name is Zeth. Suckers. I'm holding it up. I'm holding it up. Love it. Second name is... Don't be me. Don't be me. Don't be me. Don't be me. Don't be me. Mike. Oh, no. Yeah, dude. I'll meet you, too. All right. Okay. So I go over to the other side, right? And I haven't seen him. I make it a point to not do that. Okay, so this is going to be a gem. Is going to communicate the words to me. Rob is so confused. He gets overwhelmed. It's all right, buddy. You can do it. Rob is going to run the controls because I had to get up. I love doing this. And come over to the seat. Best part of my day. Where I'm trying to guess what the words are. Are we stopped at lunch? Yes. Yes, we did. Okay. Free lunch. All right, Seth.
Okay. All right. We're trying to win tickets for somebody. Look at Seth's face, dude. That is scary. That is a weird face. Get comfortable. I get that on his face when he comes in here for the last time. Creepy. So tomorrow? Here we go. Okay. So we're going to start when I go, right, Sean? Yes. Good. Sweet. Sour. Sweet. Castle. House. Door. Royalty. Castle. Pool. Water. Stream. Yard. Faucet. Ground. Sprinkler. Measure. Foot. Inches. Wood. Ruler. Napkin. Restaurant. Eat. Lap. Highchair. Clean. I don't know.
I don't know. All right, pass. Detergent. Clothes. Suit. Wash. Washing machine. Soap. Detergent. Wheel. Car. Wheels. Correct. Yeah. There we go. No way. Yeah. Good enough. Wow. You guys literally had one second left. I just want to do it over and over again. You had one second left, Sean said. Are you serious? We had one second left. So the restaurant, lap, and clean. What was that? Napkin. My head wasn't there at all. Oh, that's fun. What was the water one? What was that one? Pool. P1 Gamer. Yes, Gamer. You won by one second, Brian. I know. I heard that. By one second. So you're going to see Metallica. Hang on the line, will you? Sweet. Let's do one more. Let's go for a sweep, you guys. P1 Berga, we're about to do this for you, okay?
All right, awesome. Pressure is on, dude. The pressure is on. The first name that I draw. I'm going to have to do it because I seen him. Oh, you saw him all. I seen him. Okay, okay. Because I seen him. All right, that means. I was trying to keep my hand up over the thing, but you guys kept going. I couldn't cover it. Because I seen him. It is so easy for me to not pay attention. What does that mean? It means that I don't see those words because I don't pay attention. It's easy for me. Dude, I'm telling you, it's so easy for me to not pay attention. Okay, so we left off on wheel. Okay. I have never been the communicator in this game. That's crazy. Because you're good at that. You know what we should do? We have to do that. That was awesome. What the heck was the Batman? Riddle. Riddle. Because I was trying to think. If you would have said villain, I would have said Riddler. That wouldn't have counted. That wouldn't have? No. It's different. I don't understand. I thought his name was the Riddle. Hey, man, you're going to see Metallica. That's awesome, Mikey. Right on, man. Hang on. Especially at this 805 northbound of the South Bay. Definitely want to give yourself some extra time on this freeway. And you're dealing with some fog here as well. Right now, this 805 is jammed up here just past 8th Street for a slow ride off and on all the way in the North Park. Once you get over Mission Valley, though, it really gets you right around Murray Ridge. And then from there, it is a slow crawl all the way up. to Governor Drive in the Golden Triangle. There was an accident right near Nobel Drive that is now out of the way, but, man, they really caused a major backup here, and it's still reeling from that. So just be prepared to sit in that for a bit. West 94 affected by the busy 805. That's backed up now from Federal to the 805 freeway. Then a minor delay into downtown. Not too bad, though, out of the East County. The westbound 8 seems to be cooperating so far. As you come in out of the Cajon Valley, just minor delays up towards East Main Street from Greenfield.
From there, you're pretty much good to go in the Mission Valley. West 52 looking pretty nice up the hill out of Santee at this time. Heading south of the 15. Coming out of Escondido, pretty jammed up here as well from the 78 now down to Villarancho Parkway. And then some reduced speeds in towards Poway. Northbound 15 slows off the 8 freeway up through Murphy Canyon up to Friars Road before you're back at the speed. I'm McLaurin on Rockwood 05.3. Good news, bad news for our friend Lights Out Sean Merriman. He had successful surgery yesterday in Miami, but also got fined by the league $7,500 for a hit on Jake DeLome. Well, that is interesting because we have him on the line. This is the Bud Light Sean Merriman Report. How's that, Lights? We talk about it, we got you right there, and we can ask you about it personally. Yeah! Yeah, how you doing? I'm doing good, man. Did you have surgery? Yeah, I had surgery yesterday. Oh. I had surgery yesterday. Here in San Diego or out of state? No, in Miami. Are you in Florida right now? Yeah, I'm in Florida. Are you laying in a hospital bed or what's going on? Right here in the hospital bed right now is what you speak. No way. Yep. You are calling me from your hospital bed. You watching something on TV?
Yeah, watching all the games and highlights and just seeing I got fined 7,500. Just now for a hit. So you just found that out with Eddie telling you? Well, because I haven't been there, so I didn't get a chance to see it. So I just found that out. That is crazy. Sorry, bro. Oh, no. It's better you guys break the news to me first before I got a chance to see it. Come on, Sean. You got that stuck in the couch somewhere or something. You know what I mean? Start digging around through the couch. You can appeal. Yeah, you'll appeal it. Yeah, that's what I'll do. What do you think about that? I mean, as you heard that, do you remember the hit on DeLome? No, not really, but I'll go back and what they do, they'll review the film. Obviously, it wasn't anything intentional because they didn't flag me anything, so they just had to go back and review it and see what happened. The people there at the hospital, like the orderlies, the nurses, all that stuff. If I took a look at you, I'd go, this guy's a bouncer for a club here in town. Do they realize that you are the best defensive player in the NFL, or do they know who you are? Everybody knew it was a big deal about me coming down here, so everybody pretty much knew that I was going to be in Miami at this hospital. Are they taking care of you? Oh, yeah, they're great. You know, nurses and doctors, everyone is good.
Now, I was curious about this surgery. Do they do the surgery like at the front of the kneecap or behind like where your knee actually bends? Well, they go in through the front and they fix it through the back. Oh. They go in through the front but fix it through the back. Fix it through the back, yeah, correct. So that means that there is incisions in the back where your knee bends? Yeah, one in the front and then one in the side a little bit. You can definitely tell. Is it a big scar or a little scar? Kind of small. I would say about two inches long. And talk to me about the pain right now. Is it moderate or does it hurt bad or how is it? Yeah, you didn't hear me. I'm coming back and playing next week. Nice. I wish, man. That's how good it feels. No, how is it? I mean, when you have that kind of surgery, does it hurt right now or are you good? Well, I'm pretty good, man. Even when I was playing, I have a very high pain threshold, so I can go out and do a lot of things, and certain things don't hurt as much as it would hurt someone else. Now, when they do this, Sean, because one thing that I have been really curious about but don't know is when they do this surgery, what do they actually do? What does the repair entail? What are they doing? Just almost in the sense reconnecting the ligament that was torn, and that's what it basically comes down to.
In a PCL, whenever that's torn, your knee has a little bit of a sag, so they have to repair it so it's back in the right place again. Does it limit movement when it heals up, or does it heal up cool? It's fine. It heals up great, actually. It'll probably heal stronger, because when you break a bone, when it re-heals, it heals stronger. It's stronger. Well, I originally hurt my rookie year in Minnesota. My first NFL football game, I hurt it. It's going to be weird for you actually not playing with pain. It's going to be very weird. So I'll try to see what it feels like to have 100% need. I wonder if Sean Merriman will be all pumped up that first game. I wonder. I wonder if he will have a boost of energy on that first. That's probably an understatement. I was a little bit pumped up watching that game yesterday, man. Sean, what's up, man? What did you think?
You know, I don't believe in blaming things on refs or blaming things on the reason why we lose or if we lose. But yesterday, that was just a little bit too much, a little bit too obvious for those calls not to be made. Yeah, it was some pretty glaring stuff with the officials and all that stuff. Oh, yeah. I mean, to actually apologize after it, I mean, I would accept the apology, but it doesn't take that L off the board. Uh, so what is next? How long do you stay, Sean? And then when will you be back here in San Diego? Well, I'll be, I'll be rehabbing here for a few days. Um, and I'll come back out to the weather and start my whole rehab process. About a six or seven month deal. So now are you, what do they do? Do they, uh, put you in a cast and crutches? Uh, no, it's more like a straight leg brace and, um, while I'm just moving around for the first few weeks. And after that, she'll be fine. We're talking to Sean Merriman, and we do a report with him every Monday. But yesterday we couldn't because he was having surgery. Eddie? So, Sean, break it down for us. What's going on with the defense right now? What do you see? Why are they not performing to their usual level? Well, I think we need to be able to make adjustments. And me watching that game yesterday, the other day, just seeing some of the things we need to adjust to.
and getting better at the run defense, and that's what it all comes down to is just during the football game. If you can't do that, I mean, you're going to be in trouble. And what's a real-life example of what that would look like, Sean? In other words, you're doing this, and how can you – give me a real-life example of an adjustment that may have made a difference. Well, whenever you see him sometimes running the ball a little bit, you want to definitely get a man in the box, drop an extra man in the box. From what I saw, we just wasn't doing a lot of that. We just kind of sat back and let them gash and slowly gash. I'm always a big fan that defense wins games because all that talent and the guys we have on offense, you've got to stop the guys from scoring. So if you go out and do what the offense is and score 38, 39 points and the team gets one more point, then it doesn't matter.
Listen, it was practically like CNN breaking news last week when you decided that you were going to have surgery. And you made the decision Tuesday of last week, one week ago today. And that's when it was announced, one week ago today. The game was on Sunday. You played in it. Obviously, you were in pain. When did you make the decision that you would have surgery? Probably a little while. The next morning when I got up, I just, I mean. It was tough. My knee was very sore. I couldn't move. And that's what I was really trying to see, how I was going to pan out. If I was able to do this for 16 games, how I was going to feel. And it just wasn't responding like I wanted it to. It was a couple times that I just felt I really had to try to do something that would just come naturally. And I really had to force myself on doing it. Well, I definitely, I hope that over the course of a little time,
that we spend together, you will feel comfortable enough to break such news on The Mikey Show. For sure. I realize that you and I have only shared one meal together, and the night that we shared that meal, the lady behind us in a booth threw a glass at her boyfriend, and it smashed all over the wall. That's the weirdest thing ever, man. We were at Donovan's, and this lady came in there with her husband or something, and she got mad at him. She throws this glass at his head. Holy cow. It was crazy. Well, it didn't hit his head. Sean, didn't it hit the wall behind him or something? It hit the wall. I thought it was some WWE stuff about to go off in there. For real. Then she climbed up on the fence and jumped off and gave him a pile driver. Hey, Sean, what cool stuff did you take to the hospital to keep you from getting bored? And I brought my PlayStation down, too, so I get a chance to do a little bit. What are we reading? I just read the new Forbes. I always read up on the Forbes. They got a new segment in the Forbes magazine that bought all the teams and the revenue and what certain teams are worth. It's pretty cool. You should check it out. What number did you fall into? Where are you on the Forbes list of... Not yet. After 09, eh, Johnny? That's right, man. That's right. After the 09 season, bro, you're going to be number one.
That's funny. Lights will take the cover. What's up? That's right. Picture Sean Merriman on the cover of Forbes. I love it. Hey, dude, I'm glad you're feeling better. Heal up, and I will be praying for a speedy recovery for you. I appreciate it. I just want to let all the fans know to keep behind the Chargers, man. Keep behind us. We're going to need the fan support, and I'm going to be as chilly as myself for the next few months. Dude, it's a trip. Hopefully we get this whole thing turned around real soon. It's a trip, man, because one of the things that I was hearing is just kind of what an impact you have on the team. When they can have you and they can have the other Sean at the other end, you know, making it so the quarterback is being hurried. It's just amazing what that does. Dude, pressure is key, you know, for a defense. And without, you know, the best. sack artist in the NFL in there, it's definitely going to hurt the team. It just means that somebody else has to step up, right, Sean? And that's all it really is. I mean, Giles Tucker, Marcus Harris, and then SP, all those guys can play. But like I always say, you know, Cromartie is one of the most talented people I've been around in Quentin Jam as well, but they can't cover guys six or seven seconds and cover all day because it just won't happen. Well,
We appreciate it, man, and we'll talk to you next week. We'll break down the Charger. Well, wait a minute. Next week we're going to talk to you before the game because it's a Monday night football game. Brett Favre coming to town. That's right. Yeah, and that was one person I wish I could have got a hit before he retired. Right? Because you know what I mean? Hit him with your crutch, Sean. That's right. That's right. If you're back in town, you should be there on the sideline. And then after the game, you come up, you know, you give them a charley horse and say, I had to hit you once in my career. You know what I mean? Like the office linebacker, man. Exactly, man. Exactly. What games did you bring with you for the PlayStation? I'm playing Tiger Woods, man. The 09 Tiger Woods. Nice. Are you any good? I'm excellent. Excellent. No, he's not good. He's excellent. He's excellent. That's right. All right, dude. All right, Sean, we appreciate it, man. All right, appreciate it. Talk to you next week. All right. All right, late. Catch the Bud Light Sean Merriman report exclusively every Monday on The Mikey Show on Rock 105.3. Attention. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Well, the ride's very tough here this morning, especially out of the South Bay. This 805 northbound man, give yourself some extra time on this one. This is rough, slow and go from just past 8th Street and Chula Vista. And those brake lights stay with you off and on all the way up into the Golden Triangle. There was a bad accident near Nobel Drive that really caused a major backup here. It's been cleared out of the way, but not before damage done.
Big time on that freeway. That in turn is affecting the West 94. Jammed up here from College Avenue getting to that 805 freeway. And then heavy again from 32nd Street in the downtown. The West 8 ride hasn't been too bad this morning. Getting a little tighter though as you're coming through La Mesa from Spring Street out to Lake Murray. Bunching up again now from the 15 off and on to the 805. Westbound 52. Plenty of brake light side of Santee from the 125. Heading up the hill over the Major Mission Trail Summit. South 15, coming out of Viscondito, as always, pretty jammed up here from the 78th of your Rancho Parkway. Good to go over Lake Hodges until you get down to around Carmel Mountain Road. Then it slows on you again here in the Poway. And you're starting to see a backup now in the westbound 56 coming out of Rancho Panosquitos from Camino del Sur all the way out to Carmel Valley Road. It's the Mikey Show. Welcome back. It is 7.39. Opening statements are scheduled for today in the case of four San Diego firefighters who claim they were sexually harassed after being required to take part in the gay pride parade in Hillcrest. In a unheard of move, the Brewers fire their manager, Ned Yost, with his team tied for the wild card lead. Eddie, what is that? It's unbelievable, man. Basically, the Brewers are in a little bit of a skid. They lost 11 of their last 14 games, so they lost their wildcard lead, and they got swept by the Phillies over the weekend. And so the Brewers are freaking out that they're not going to make the playoffs and decide they're going to fire their manager and promote the third base coach and hopefully change momentum. But, I mean, it's never been unprecedented. Yeah, it sounds like an overreaction. There's like 12 games left. That, it's, oh, it's crazy. You know, I mean, he's got him that far. It's like, give me a break. Yeah. And now what? What if the new guy comes in there and doesn't do any better and now they got rid of a great manager? Yeah, I mean, the guy, you know, that team really turned around and was very impressive most of the year. Had a great year. That's too bad. That was an overreaction. Let's see. Mikey, your guy's next billboard should say, just listen. It's not brain science. It's P1 Dog.
No dog haters. Mikey preps to Zeth on his phone screening skills. Someone should give that guy a raise. That's P1 Oats. Wait a second. But that's Zeth's last name. Zeth's last name. That's kind of weird. Maybe the guy likes oatmeal. I doubt it. Mikey, what about on the 28-hour show watching Free Willy? That's P1 Gematria. Never seen Free Willy. Wow, sorry. Sorry, Eddie. That's a good idea. Eddie's giving air laugh. Eddie's doing air laugh. We don't watch horror movies on that show. It's actually a kid's movie. Yeah, and I thought it was a really heartwarming film. I thought Willie saved. Yeah, inspirational. He eats the kid at the end. No, he doesn't. They don't show that part. It's an alternate ending. Mikey. Tell Ashley that on her first offense, they only send a warning. That's P1 Second Chance. But does it count as two offenses? Because she went away. I don't know. I got an email from a P1. I don't know what they say. She said, P1 Melissa, said that this happened to her, too, and she got in the mail the fines, but they gave her the option to just pay the toll fine if she can just do that and send it in due time. That's cool. So hopefully that happens with me, too. I'd be all right. I really didn't mean to.
Yeah. Just tell him that. I didn't know. I didn't. Mikey, I'm Mexican-American. I was brought up celebrating today. But I couldn't help but laugh when I got to work and there were guys cutting the grass yelling, Viva Mexico! P1George. Today is a day for Mexicans. Independence Day. Today is a day. Today is a day. You get it. For Mexicans. What? From Fitness Magazine, y'all. They published a poll that surveyed hundreds of women asking them what part of their body they were most dissatisfied with. Oh, my gosh. I want to know what the ladies in the house think. What? Body part was the most. For us or what we think the highest one on the list is? Why don't you go, I would say, why don't you guys say you guys, you know, thinking. that's maybe the way that women would go. Like, in other words, the sentence would sound like this. Well, for me, it's blah, blah, blah. And I would think that's what other ladies would say too. Unless, unless what you're most dissatisfied with, you believe most other women are not. That's how I feel. Is that how you guys feel? Okay, so what is it? I am most dissatisfied with my stomach, but I believe most women said their thighs. Ashley. I am most dissatisfied with my thighs, and I think most women would say their stomach.
Most women said what Sky said. They are most dissatisfied with their stomach. Oh, really? Yes. Most women. In fact. So Ashley wins a gold star. Oh, yeah. Well, what I meant was is that what you said you didn't like is what most women said they didn't like. Yeah, I got what you meant. 48% of women are dissatisfied with their stomach. That's the worst. What does that mean? I don't know as a guy because, of course, I have a disgusting stomach. I'm a guy. Eddie is shaking his head. Yes, I do. Yes, I would like that. Yes. What is the deal? What is the problem? We want it to be thinner and toner. It's flabby and fat and the curves are in all the wrong spots. It's tricky. The second most dissatisfied part of the body is pretty much the legs. It's brutal. The legs in general. Are you fat? 24%.
Yeah, you ladies are always checking your gams and checking out, like, scrutinizing them. And what's wrong with them? Oh, yeah, I'm very critical. And the back of them looks like Edward James Olmos' face. I don't know who that is. If you did, you'd be driving off the freeway laughing right now. YouTube it. Yes, well, Google image it. Google image it. Edward James Olmos. You've got to do it right now, Ash. I've got to spell that. Google, okay. Olmos? Edward James Olmos with an O. That's correct. Turn your ears on. Very sorry. Your ears are screaming. I've let you down. Do you know what the... Is that what the back of your legs look like?
Save that. Okay. But that is not, that's what I do not want the back of my legs to look like. Right. I mean, I will avoid that at all costs. We got to work at it. It's really a lot of work. Yeah. I love sassy magic. Sucks. Carbs. Do you want to know what the third thing was? Yeah. Boobies. Arms. Arms. Say it, guys. Boobies. Butt. Eddie thinks boobies. Ladies think arms. I think arms, yeah. And the third most dissatisfied body part for women was their butt. See, I was going to... Women should love their butt because, like, guys love the butt. So, like, women, that should be... Yeah, but don't you think that they would scrutinize it then? You know what I'm saying? Wouldn't they be scrutinizing it? See, I don't know. I feel like men like a woman that's got a nice butt. They do. So maybe that's the deal with women who don't feel like they should have. So women are like, I'm not good enough. I'm not good enough. I've got a flat hat. I don't know. Did you say flat or fat? Flat. Flat. Maybe, because I prefer a nice apple bottom. We got it, Sean. We get the idea of what you're going for. Yep. Point was made, definitely, 18 of them ago. 19. Hey, now. Jeez. This question.
If you had a chance to read your girlfriend's journal, would you? He said that to a guy? He said that to a guy. Oh. You had a chance to read your girlfriend's journal, would you? Eddie. Wow. Now, here's what your choices are. Here's how you can answer. Are you ready? Yeah. Either no or probably not, but I'd be tempted, or most likely, if I knew I wouldn't get away with it, yes. Well, if it was my girlfriend and not my wife, because if my wife, she could write anything in there. It wouldn't really matter. I don't know. What does that mean? It won't bother me. Please explain what that means. I trust my wife, and there's nothing in there that she could put in there that would bother me. Okay. There is nothing that your wife would say critically that would bother you. No. Okay. No.
I mean, she has the right to her opinion. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I would have no problems with her expressing her opinions in a journal. Sure. And I trust her, so I know there's no shenanigans going on. Right. So I have no interest in reading her journal. Wow. But if it were my girlfriend, and that's a whole different kind of relationship. You don't trust her. That bitch, let me tell you. You don't trust the girlfriend? No, no, I didn't say that. What I'm saying is I would not. But I would be tempted. You would not, but you would be tempted. Yes. Well, the only way that I can answer this is, at the time that I still had girlfriends, I would definitely be tempted. Definitely. In fact, in a couple of their cases. See, it's different with, I can think of different girlfriends and go, not tempted. Yeah. Right. I could think of girlfriends. Because you didn't care. Because... That was it with me. I didn't care. I didn't care what was written in there. I was kind of hoping they would cheat. Okay. A couple of girls. You know they were bad. You're trying to get out of it. You know. You can't. I don't know. You want to. You want to, but... I can think of a girlfriend that I had in the past where I would have said no. I can think of a girlfriend in the past that I've had where I would say, probably not, but I'd be tempted. And I could think of a girlfriend in the past where I'd say...
If I knew I wouldn't get caught, yes. With my wife, absolutely not. And if I were ever in a position at this stage of my life where I was going to have a girlfriend, I wouldn't. At this stage of my life. But when you're young, you're going to go through all kinds of different phases. And what I mean by young is anything under 65. But what I wonder is how girls feel about it, too. Like, how do you think that you're, if you're driving right now, you're a chick, what do you think your dude, how would he answer that? If you dudes are listening, how would you answer that? And make it, you know, make it girlfriend slash wife. Is it different? Now that you're married, is it different? Sue has Rob. Since he's kind of younger. Yeah, dude. And he's getting married. Eventually, when he saves money. When they make the date. Yeah. When they make a date, they're going to get married. If they ever have a date. Or they could be like Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no, no. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are not engaged. Oh, that's right. Oh, that's true. She's alive. Good for her. So, Rob. She needs to drink more milk.
I'm going to ask you a question, and I'm going to give you three ways that you can answer. You pick one. Are you ready? Okay. If you had a chance to read your girlfriend's journal, would you? You can either answer no, or probably not, but I'd be tempted, or most likely if I knew I wouldn't get caught. So if I could read her diary. This is going to take a minute. I wouldn't. A minute? Give him a sec. If by a minute you mean an hour, then you are 100% correct. I wouldn't. Would you be tempted? No. You're not tempted. You walk in, lying on the bed, you see her journal. I wouldn't. You just walk right by. You don't go, oh, man. I'd probably put it away for her. Yeah. Honestly. Like, that's her stuff. If you're engaged to be married to her.
That's probably the only appropriate answer. And I mean, truly meaning it inside. Like if you don't truly mean that inside and you're engaged to be married, you're engaged to the wrong person. Yeah, there's problems. If you are engaged right now, I'm going to say it again. If you're engaged right now and you're a dude and I asked that question and you answered with anything other than no, you're with the wrong person. Especially because I got my own writings. I feel she would do the same thing for me. And by the way, if you were listening and you were a guy and I just said that and you would like to discuss it because you disagree, 570-1053, we can talk about it. I think it's a good conversation to have. For sure. But yeah. And Rob, say that one more time. What you just said. Say that one more time. Sorry, he was back to filling in phone screen. Go ahead. Because I have my own writings. I get a couple of journals at home. I get a couple of writings that I keep on my laptop, which me and her share. And I feel like she would have that same exact answer. There's that mutual trust. And respect. Yeah, yeah. It's a big respect issue. There should be no temptation. Those are her thoughts. If she ever cared to share them with me and said, hey, I want to open up. I want you to read what I wrote a year ago or where I was to see my view on things.
Then I'd be open ears for, but other than that... Now, Eddie... I am whipped, and I love it. What's wrong with you? You're a good man. That was a good answer. I'm a catch. Come on, Mike. I just want everybody to know that I am about to have a conversation with my best friend, Eddie, and the only people that are allowed to comment on anything that comes out of my mouth are Sean, Zeth, or Boston Rob. I'm catching my mouth. Sky can't help herself. She's turned the mic off and she's pushing the microphone away. Ashley, I hope you can control yourself. But Eddie, I'm just curious what you think about the following. If we were to ask Sky and Ashley the same exact question, what do you suppose the answer would be? What would it be? Well, they would for sure both say no.
Yes. They would for sure both say no. Without a doubt. Without a doubt. They would answer, oh no, no. And if you said, would you be tempted? They would say, no, absolutely not. Not even tempted a little bit. And I'm not saying that's not the truth. It could be. But there's so much going on and they're so complex, these women, that there's more thoughts to that. whole conversation than just flat out no. Okay. And see, that's the deal. Because I give as an example, Sky and Ashley. But what I really mean is everyone listening that's a female. Yeah. That got boobies. That's right. Because, and I'm talking about if you're listening right now and you're a woman and you are married or you call yourself a girlfriend. And the question is, ladies, Ladies, if you had a chance to read your boyfriend slash husband's journal, would you? And you can answer in one of the following three ways. No. Or, probably not, but I'd be tempted. Or, most likely, if I knew I wouldn't get caught. I think the answer for Sky would be, no, but I'd be tempted.
I would hope so, because that's an honest answer. I believe that that would be the truth. No, but she'd be tempted. Now, Ashley. My thought on Ashley is in the past, she would have with Mark. I don't think she would. I think she may be tempted, but for the most part, I think she's cool. I think she would be good. I believe she walks into the room. No one's home. The sound of Oprah coming from the living room. There it is, lying on the bed. Oh no, don't do it. I believe that the thought is, I can't read that. And I don't need to. But I believe that then something occurs. I wonder what is in there. No, I can't do it. Wait a minute. I'm going to go get something to eat. Wait a minute. Hang on though.
I know there's nothing in there bad. And we love each other. We share. No, I can't. Okay, I'm reading it. Sky, turn your mic back on. 570-1053. Ash, we start with you. You have to wear the honest cap. Oh, it's on. What is the answer? Absolutely not. No way you don't do it. I have no interest in his journal whatsoever. Not even tempted. Not even tempted. All right. And we have really good communication. We talk about everything. We're really honest with each other. And I don't know. There's nothing that he would write in there that I don't know. What about, like I said, in past relationships? That's never been my thing. I've never ever done anything like that. I believe you. I believe you. And listen, if I called that one wrong, I call it wrong. I think she may be more interested in reading my journal than she would in reading her boyfriend's journal. I've never been interested in being nosy, and especially with other people's stuff. It's never really been a thing with me. I've never in my life gone into my boyfriend's phone and checked text messages. I'm just not that type of person. There's stuff with me, too. I got my areas, and I got my areas that are not really my areas. You know what I mean? I got a lot of crazy things going on with me. I got a lot of issues, but that's not one of them.
I trust him, you know. Compulsive eating. Yeah, compulsive eating is a really big problem right now. I do tend to do that sometimes. I'm working on it. I've been working on that. I've been working on that. What else do you do? Well, we can move on. I don't have an eating disorder. Skye? Yeah? Which one would you have answered with? Yeah, you guys called it dead on. I wouldn't do it, but I would be tempted. And at some point... I would be extremely tempted. Like, you know, I would have like a crazy dream or, you know, I would feel for some reason he was being distant. And I may actually do the scenario that you described about Ashley. Like, okay, should I? Okay, shouldn't I? Okay, maybe just a page or maybe not. But when it came down to it, I wouldn't. But I'd be extremely tempted at certain points in the, you know, rollercoaster of relationship. Ultimately, what would keep you from it? Two things. A radio. Two things. One is trust. You know, I don't want to break that. I feel it starts a bad pattern, you know, that can just snowball from there. And also, secondly, and I don't know, this kind of for some reason feels like it may be crappy to say, but I'm kind of scared of what I would read. Like, I would almost be fearful that, you know, if this is his private place to vent.
Maybe he vents about me in there, and I may read things that I can't make disappear from my mind. Because once you can hear something or read something, there's no taking it back. It's out there, and I would be fearful that could do damage. P1D is on the line, and she says that she would read it for sure. Oh, wow. She would read it for sure, and we will talk to her. Right after this, don't go away. Text us at 35253, and if you want to weigh in on this, our phone number is 570-1053. We'd love to talk to you. And like I said yesterday, if it's not you right now, it could be. And the cool thing about Amco, the transmission place that I talk about, the cool thing about them is that you don't need an appointment with them and they don't want to fix what isn't broken. So if I were you, I would urge you to go into Amco, ask questions, get in there, ask them questions, get to know stuff.
The cool thing, too, is what they are doing for P1s. You go in there with that check engine light on. They will diagnose it for free. And if there are any repairs required, they will give you a break. If you mention that you're a P1, you'll get 10% off on all repairs. They do transmissions, oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, cooling systems. It's AMCO. They are AA MCO. Hey, Sarah, I didn't expect to see the busiest person I know at the company picnic. Well, of course. I saw some tough rides on our freeways here this morning, especially as you travel 805 northbound over to South Bay. Still, I want to give yourself some extra time. It's pretty jammed up here from Division Street. Pretty solid all the way into North Park. Minor delay over Mission Valley. And then it really gets you again from Mesa College for a slow crawl all the way up to Governor Drive.
in the Golden Triangle. West 94 on the King Freeway, solid breaklights here as well from the 805 all the way into downtown. The West 8 wasn't too bad, but there's an accident near the 5 Freeway in Hotel Circle, and that's caught up with the commute traffic. You're jammed up now from Lake Murray, pretty much the college area, and then it's just a struggle completely. It's a solid from Waring Road all the way into Hotel Circle, getting to that 5 connector in Michigan Valley here. The Westbound 52 also looking good at a Santee, but once you get past that 163 through Kearney Mesa, Just slow and go past Convoy, underneath the 805. Plenty of brake lights staying with you through San Clemente Canyon, getting past Genesee to the 5 Freeway. Heading south in the 15s, that's still jammed up from the 78th of your Rancho Parkway. More heavy traffic now from Karma Mountain Road down into Poway. The West 56, watch for the brake lights here coming at you right around Black Mountain Road. From there, it's a slow crawl here as well, all the way to the 5. The 5 itself isn't too bad. You've got some fog, but a few brake lights in the South 5 out of Lucadia and towards Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rockwood 053. Broadcasting from the Cricket Wireless Studios, this is the home of The Mikey Show, KIOZ, San Diego, with another Dump Chick Challenge. So... You think? Yeah. You don't think he's handsome? I mean, I'm not saying he's an ugly bloke. I'm just saying that there are a few things. You're not hating it. No, I'm just saying. That's way too right for me, homeboy. To each his own. Is that what the dude is? Oh, of course.
Why do you got to go there? I'm just saying there's a lot. His mother died. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Eddie, do not bow like you're taking a bow. And, Rob, don't victoriously put your arms up like, yes, Eddie just hit a home run. I can't believe it. Is that conversation over? Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Tampa Bay is sticking with Brian Greasy. He's going to start this week for Tampa against Chicago. Welcome back. It's a Mikey show. Before we went to break, we said we were going to be talking to P1D, who said that she would absolutely, absolutely,
read her husband or boyfriend? Is it your husband or boyfriend? Boyfriend. It's your boyfriend. You would absolutely read his journal and you've been together for six years. You got it. Now, what would we be interested in? Well, you know, guys really don't communicate as much as, you know, a person in a relationship might think that they're, you know, got open communication. You're talking about everything. If a guy has a journal, there's definitely more going on. And what sorts of things do you not know right now that you would like to know? What does he not communicate with you? Well, I mean, he's been my boyfriend for six years. There's obviously something you love about him. Exactly. Six years is a long time. Yeah, we lived together in the whole deal. So if he had a journal, I'd figure that he had some pretty deep thoughts, whether it was something with me or with his family.
But, I mean, if I walked into a room and there was a journal sitting on a bed, I mean, you're damn straight. I'm going to read it. Yeah. Now, obviously, you are very, very, you know, there is no hesitation. You're very sure of this. There is no question that you would definitely read it. A question. No, and I would tell him, too. I'd be like, hey, I read your journal. Really? Now, do you think that he would be upset about it? Maybe at first. But if I told him the reasons why I did. And the reasons are because he doesn't communicate with you, right? Right. I mean, it's not that we don't communicate. It's that if I saw that he had a journal, I mean, I know that there's going to be deep thoughts in there. And he's not really like the kind of guy to get deep with me. He'll scratch the surface of things. But if he's got a journal, then I know that there's got to be, you know, more going on. I got a question. I got a question.
Do you like that he doesn't communicate deeply with you? It's not a like or don't like thing. It's just that's the way he is. You know, he didn't really have a strong mother figure in his life. So he's like, he's not going to sit down and weep in woe with me. So what you're saying is that the following sentence would not apply to you. And that is, it does not bother me that my boyfriend. does not share with me his deep thoughts. Is that what you're saying? No, I'm not saying, I mean, it bothers me to an extent, but I understand why he is that way, and I'm accepting of it. But if he had a journal, I mean... Now, wait a minute. I'm just asking for clarification. When you say that you understand the way that he is, that is to say, he doesn't communicate on a deep level,
You understand the way that he is, but you accept it. Does accepting it look like reading his journal? Yeah. Is that what it looks like? I'm just I'm getting clarification because you might say, yeah, yeah, Mike, it does. I mean, you were very open and honest about the first part of it, and I appreciate that. So I'm wondering when you say, hey, listen, he's not a very deep communicator. And you know what? I accept that about him. I'm asking. Does being accepting of that look like reading the journal? I definitely see where you're going with that. Yeah, because here's the deal. I'm usually not at a loss for words, Mikey. Well, here's the deal. I'm going to tell you. Dee, it's okay. It's okay. Listen, I think I... Hello? Hi, Seth. Hi, Seth. Hi, Seth. Hi, Seth. I will tell you this, D. The one thing I appreciate more than anything else is that honesty. Man, when I get somebody on the phone that is honest with me, I just have this thing. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. So I want to say thank you for being honest. And maybe somewhere in the questions, there is something there for you to chew on. It doesn't mean that you're going to necessarily change it today or tomorrow or whatever. But I would say, listen.
there is a couple of communication errors going on. One is he's not communicating with you deeply enough. That's clear. You want more. And then the other communication problem is that you're not letting him know that he's not communicating deeply enough. And if he is not capable of doing it and he's not capable of saying it, there's a reason. There's a reason. In fact, I appreciate the phone call, Dee. You sound awesome, and I mean it, for real. I mean, I know that you've got the issue that you say you read that journal, I'll give you this. You're an honest person in the sense that you told me the truth, and I appreciate that. Thanks. I've actually been wanting to talk to you because I've always wanted to know you guys' opinion, and I don't really know why it matters to me other than I listen to you guys for years now. But I've been with the same guy for six years. We've lived together, and we just haven't made that next step. We all have very different opinions about this stuff. I am a follower. of the teachings of jesus christ which in today's society when i say that that sounds radical honestly i know that when i say those words it sounds crazy is because uh we live in a different time you know we live in a different time and we live in a time of and it's even in my head because i've and i've heard it twice but uh my my this is my opinion
I lived with my wife before we got married. I was willing before I even dated my wife to have lived with people. And I thought, man, you got to kick those tires before you buy the car. That used to be my philosophy. And hey, man, I mean, it's, I mean, listen, this isn't 1957. This is the way I used to talk. This isn't 1957, man. It's appropriate to live with somebody. Because, you know, you want to see how you guys get along. You want to see if you can live together. You want to see, okay, that's the way that I used to think. And that's not my opinion anymore. My opinion has changed. My opinion has changed to God has a list of rules. And we are free to break those rules. If we break the rules, we're on our own. And if we follow the rules, we get blessed. And if you're wondering what blessed looks like, it just looks like it could manifest itself in a peaceful relationship. It could manifest itself in a lack of fights or a lack of resentments or a lack of a lot of things that we struggle with. But that's that part of it. But then the other part of it is that if you've been with somebody for six years.
And they are not willing to say, to go get the ring and get down on one knee and say, will you marry me? I'm going to tell you. There is not one guy listening right now, Dee, that heard you say that you would read your boyfriend's diary that thought, that's the girl for me. That's the girl I want to be with. Right. I want my gal to be just like her. In fact, every guy that was listening went, oh, man. I don't want that. I don't want a girl reading my personal diary. Now, here's the thing. Sometimes, you ever experienced this before? You ever been in a room with somebody and they don't like you and you know it? They don't say it. But you could tell there's just a vibe. They don't say to you, you know, I don't like you. But you can tell when you're in the room. You pick up a vibe. Right. He knows you'd read his diary. You haven't maybe said it to him. Yeah. But he knows that you would read his diary. In fact, if somebody asked him, hey, do you think Dee would ever read your diary? Before they were done, he'd answer. Of course. And the reason is because we just pick up on stuff. And so if you're going, man, it's been six years and blah, blah, blah, you were calling to let me know that you'd read his diary if it was laying there. And so the answers, they're all there. The answers are all there.
I definitely got to the root of it, and this was a great therapy session for me, and I needed to hear it. Hang on, Dee. Hang on, because one of the things that makes The Mikey Show cool is that it's not just about my opinion. I have an opinion, and I feel super strong about it, but hey, man, we've got other people on this show, and they're smart, and everybody's got a different opinion, so I want you to hear some other opinions, too, because... You know, there are different people out there that are yelling in their car right now going, I wish I could say something about this. So, Eddie, what do you think? I need info. First of all, how old are you? 27. So you guys have been together since you were like 21? Right. Yeah. You know, I mean, has there been discussions in the past about moving forward? We've talked about it actually a couple years ago, and he was like, oh, I need to. Bought a house and got the car and got everything in place, and now it's just been like, doo-doo-doo-doo, like, just waiting until the end of time. Yeah, it does sound to me like you guys have a big-time lack of communication. Obviously, if this is something that's been bothering you and it's been on your mind and you haven't talked about it in two years, then something's broken with you guys. And you can either work at it and try to fix it, or you can go in another direction.
You're still very young. It's not necessarily something that you have to do is get married at this point. But if this is the person that you want to be with for the rest of your life, you've got to work at it. And you've got to try and fix what's broken. And if not, then you've got to move on. Skye, what do you think? I was in a long-term relationship where I never really spoke my feelings, and I had a lot of thoughts. How is that possible? I had a lot of thoughts and feelings that I wasn't sharing, which I kind of feel like sounds like what you're going through, like the fact that you're having this conversation with us and not with him. And so after getting out of that relationship, I made myself a promise. I said, I'm not going to waste any more time. I'm going to be honest about my feelings, even if it makes me sound like a bitch. I'm going to be honest about my feelings. And that's why I think. Can we pause right there? Yeah. Because I want to ask. Yeah. At some point along the way, somehow it got into your mind that sharing your feelings made you a B, which we got to squash that immediately. Yeah. I felt like, you know, if I didn't go with the flow, if I didn't go with what he wanted, if I brought up a topic that was going to make things uncomfortable, then I am like a bitch.
No, you are not. And so I was in like a relationship for four years where it was all about him, whatever he wanted, whatever, you know. Ladies, ladies, if you listen, I want to speak to every lady listening right now and every guy to every man and woman that can hear my voice. I want you to know you are not bad for any feeling you have. Not one, not one feeling that you have makes you bad. or wrong it's the way you feel now the way you act the way you behave the way you show how you feel that could be maybe that's something we can discuss absolutely but your feelings are yours and you are entitled to them in fact the biggest thing that i learned was this deal of allowing somebody to tell you how they feel yeah you being able to tell someone how you feel And that person and you actually kind of trying to see it from and like appreciate someone's feelings and be we lost. Could have been a cell phone deal. Just being able to appreciate like and go, oh, man, it sucks that you feel that way. You know, like I don't want you to feel that way. I wouldn't want to feel that way.
Right. You know, and it doesn't mean that you go that you give everything up and your rights are relinquished. It just means that you are hearing somebody in the way they feel. Yeah, because it's horrible to have feelings and thoughts that you don't feel comfortable sharing. You almost feel like you're tiptoeing around something. And I don't think any relationship should be like that. Like she's been with this guy for six years, you know, still. nervous about talking about this topic with him, and it could go by for another six years, and then maybe by then she finally gets the balls to bring it up, and then he goes, oh, no, I never want to get married. And then what? Now you've wasted 12 years just because you were scared to have a conversation? So please, just be honest. For sure. P1 Lizzie says she's been with this dude for four years, right, Lizzie? That's correct. And you'd read it for sure? Definitely. You would read it for sure. How come? Mostly I would read it for sure because if there's something in there that I don't know, then he shouldn't have a problem with me reading it in the first place. Ah, yes. Ah, yes. This philosophy I have heard before. Eddie is shaking his head knowingly like, oh, boy. It blows me away that I guess that if you're in a relationship, you're not allowed to have private thoughts. Right.
Or any kind of privacy? If there's a history of things happening. Okay. There it is. Eddie just gave the International Body Language 4, and there you go. Now, did I miss it? Did we? Eddie is serving it now on a platter. He's putting down drinks first. Putting down drinks first. That's appropriate. And then after the drinks, he goes back. Oh, here we go. Second tray. Now he has a second tray, and there it is. And there it is. Very nice. Did we hear how old she is? Lizzie, how old are you? I just turned 24. 24. Now, Lizzie, you've been with him for four years, so you started dating when you were 20. What did he do? Well, he doesn't have one. No, no, no. What did he do in the past? Because you said if there's a history, so what did he do? A lot of the time, just simple, like, silly indiscretions that were lies. Give me an example. Like, doing stuff with his buddies and then, like, lying to me about where he was or what he was doing. Let me tell you.
I was talking about this topic last week. The topic is trust. Trust. Trust. And this isn't mine. I got to give credit where credit's due. It's a friend of mine, Chris. It's not my thought. He came up with this. But I liked it, so I'm going to use it. He said trust is like a bank account. And basically what you do is you put some money in, you take some money out. You put some money in. It takes money out. You make withdrawals and sometimes there's deposits. And what that means is, is that a guy, he could be with a girl and he could be making all these deposits. And he's basically what he's depositing is trust. He's going about his relationship with her and he's making these deposits and they're real big and they're real big and they're real big. And after about three years of making these really great deposits, what you've. built is a pretty big account of trust. You can do what you just said he did and withdraw all the money. You can withdraw everything. You can clean out the bank account by saying that you were with your boys and you weren't. Chapter 11 city. That's right. She's right. And then what you have to do is you got to start building
The bank account back up again. How do you build the bank account? Is that where reading the journal comes in? No, no, no, no. In fact, Lizzie. In fact, Lizzie, it's important to remember that you ladies aren't the only bank. See? You have a joint account. It's a joint account. It's a joint account. You both make withdrawals and deposits. And so if you did that one time. You have effectively... Foreclosure. Yeah, you've effectively cleaned out the bank account if you do that one time. And it's not like you go, well, wait a second. Remember that one time that you emptied the bank account out? Well, this makes it all balanced out, right? That I've done... It's balanced now, right? No, it's not balanced. And if you guys are cleaning each other's bank accounts out, you probably shouldn't have an account. No, you should not. In fact, in fact, let me tell you something. When you get married, you should have gabillions saved. Oh, yeah. Gabillions and gabillions and gabillions saved. That's true. You shouldn't be getting married on a very recently cleared out bank account. It should have been being saved for a long period of time. And so now how about you, Lizzie? You ever made a withdrawal that cleared the bank account out? No, I'm a very honest.
an open person. I see. Have you ever told a lie? I mean, of course, everyone tells lies, but usually the lies that I have told, like I've ended up coming out with the truth before, I guess before he spied and found out the truth. How old is he? How old is he, Lizzie? He's 25. And you're 24, right? Yeah, but this is like a couple of years ago. I was like 21. It doesn't matter. You know why? Why? Because now you're 24 and it's three years later and you're calling in about a topic to say, I do it right now. That's true. And it's three years later. That bank account's still empty. It hasn't been built back up again. And until you guys are able to build that bank account up, he's probably not going to ask so you're not going to have to worry about saying no. In order to get to a place where he asks, hey, you want to spend the rest of your life with me? You guys have to get to a place where that bank account's all filled up again. And I think that what you have right now is your bank is thinking, man, there's going to be a robbery any second around this place. That's the point. Thank you, Lizzie. I appreciate your phone call. Thank you. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253.

Welcome back.
I used to roll. Don't roll it, Mike. It is 841. The stock market had the biggest point drop since the 9-11 attacks yesterday after news of two major investment banks going through bankruptcy and forced sales. Here we go, Rob. The Red Sox now just percentage points behind Tampa Bay. after hitting six home runs last night and a 13-5 victory. Hey, look at that. Not a lot of time left. No. October's right around the corner. 12 games. Freaking out. Who's in second? Toronto, but they're like eight games back. Who's this? Hey, hold on. You are in second. No, we're not in second. We're tied. We have one. It's freaking out. Hey, shut your mouth. We have one more win, and they have... You are percentage points behind them. Rob, it's simple math. You don't even understand math. You know nothing about math. Eddie's doing some research right now. He's checking it out. I know for a fact that they're in second place.
Really? So ESPN was wrong last night when on the ticker it said first place, Tampa Bay, Red Sox. They had both teams listed in first. And then it went to second. Tampa Bay's lead is down to percentage point. We have more wins. The anger on his face. Oh, dude, there's like veins popping out of his neck. It's the Boston Red Sox. When you grow up in that area. In the wintertime, it snows. Tampa Bay has a 595 percentage. Boston has a 593 percentage. Oh, well, that sounds like less. So if it ended today, Tampa Bay would be in first place. Boston would be in second place. No, your math is horrible. Then when the snow melts in the springtime, they're so happy. And what they associate with it is this baseball team. Oh, definitely. Of course. It's a reason for living, Mike. Yeah, yeah. And what you get, too, is you get your relatives who have supported this team for years and years without a World Series win. For 86 years, it was this way. It's a long time, Mike. That's right. And then finally, after 86 years. Apologize for what? You're wrong.
They won a World Series. There's a tie for first. Well, Rob, so what would happen if the season ended today? What would happen, Rob? The season's not going to end today. What's up with all these hypotheticals? Rob, I'm looking right now at the standings, and Boston is in second place because of the percentage. But there's like a number two next to Boston? Do we live in hypothetical land? Do we? Well, you're saying who's in first place right now. My driver's license says that. It does. It says hypothetical land. Hypothetical California. Yeah, that's where we're at. There's nothing wrong with it, Rob. The season isn't ending today. That's great. That's great, Rob. You guys are going to win the World Series. It's going to be awesome. Mike, shut his mic off. I'm supporting you. It's been a long road. Angels are awesome. Uh-oh. Awesome. Let me read you some of the text messages that we're getting at 35253. So upset. This one says, if your lady keeps a journal rather than communicating with you, you're in the wrong relationship. When married, you are one, not one, with two journals. I disagree. Yeah.
Thank you. Like Eddie said, just because you're married, you're still allowed private thoughts and privacy. You're absolutely, you're absolutely, listen, first of all, journaling, I think is a healthy activity for anybody. It's a very healthy activity. And no, I don't believe that you buy a journal that you both share. You know, if you're one bro, then I'm going to assume that at your home, there is only one toothbrush. Because you wrote this text. I'm going to assume that you guys threw out everything that was yours and you share socks, underwear. Only one fork, one plate in the house. I would assume. I would assume. You're definitely, you are one. There's no doubt about it. I believe that you are made one, but you still have your own thoughts and sense of privacy. No doubt about it. Hey, Mikey, P1 X-Man, and I should further define what sense of privacy means. That doesn't mean that you keep secrets. You mean like private time to go hook up with other people? I didn't mean that. No, no, I didn't necessarily. I wasn't really going there, and I don't know why Eddie just winked at you. I thought that's what you were going for. My bad. Hey, Mikey, P1 X-Man, do you consider going through someone's phone the same as reading the diary? No, I do not.
I consider it much worse. Really? Why? Why is that worse than the journal? I believe that going through a phone indicates even more paranoia than going through a journal. I think that there is an innate paranoia in going through a phone. There is an innate almost there's something almost manic about the phone thing. They're both bad. And I was doing that more for drama than anything else, but I think they're both bad. I don't think you should be doing either, going through anybody's phone or going through anybody's... Definitely. Going through... Oh, by the way, honey, Erica called yesterday. I checked your phone. Mikey, definitely, yes, wife or girlfriend, but more so the wife's journal because there's more at stake. What? This is coming from a divorcee. So what this... This is P1 Green-Eyed Devil, and what they're saying is... Oh, yes, yes, yes. Definitely read your wife and your girlfriend's journal. Oh, good. Okay. But more so your wife. Well, duh. Because there is more at stake with the wife. There may be another divorce. Right? There may be. 570-1053 is the phone number. P1 Dawn. Hey, Mikey. What is up? Well, about 10 years ago, I had met my now husband.
Actually, it was a little bit before then, and it was the first night I had stayed over at his place, and he got up early to go to a client. So I got up a little later, and I decided to clean his room. Don't ever do that. Right. Well, I just, cleaning the room, I just, that's always struck me as, you know, what is that? I'm going to clean his room. She's doing a favor. Yeah, totally altruistic. She's taking care of him. I am OCD. I have such a thing with clothes on the floor and cups on tables. And he knew that. So I started doing the dishes, and I did his laundry for him. And when I made the bed, I noticed a small blue book under the bed. And I picked it up, and it looked like a diary book. And, of course, I was like, huh. Now, you have to understand, I was just out of a divorce for about three years at this point. And it was because of trust issues. My ex-husband cheated on me. He knew all of that, and so my first reaction was, why would a guy keep a journal? It doesn't make sense to me. But my husband is an artist, and I thought, well, maybe he was drawing in it. I'm trying to make it logical in my brain still. But basically what happened was I opened it up and I started reading it. It was a frickin' book. It wasn't even a journal. It was a book. Like a book off the shelf. Like a library book. Like a book at the library.
It was like, yeah, he had gone to a bookstore and it was an artist writing about his experiences. And it started about how this guy was a manic depressive and how he had doodles in there. And I'm thinking, oh, my God, my boyfriend is insane. And as I started... That's awesome. So wait a minute. So you didn't realize you were reading a book you thought you were reading as journal? Because it was all handwritten. It looked like it was handwritten. But you couldn't tell that it was printing and not, you know... No, it was a handwritten book. It was an actual book. It was like an underground book that basically the guy made 500 copies of him. He had handwritten every single book. Oh, wow. Yeah, it was like this crazy collectible book. So, of course, he walks in and I tell him that I read it and that he laughed and I laughed. And his first reaction was, well, why would you read it if it was under my bed? And I said, well, I saw it and I'll be honest. I said, you know. I just thought, well, I thought it was odd that a guy would keep a journal, and especially him, because we were best friends. We both felt like we knew everything about each other. And I'll be honest with you, it's ten years later, we're married, we have a child together. He is still my best friend, and if I ever found myself in that situation, would I do it again? No. Because we are so honest with each other, and that if he did need to keep something from me, then there's obviously a good reason for it.
Maybe it would upset me. Maybe it's something that he needs to work through first before he talks to me. But we're a team in our relationship, and I could never see myself. If I was in that situation today, I would left to leave it under the bed. Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? You and Eddie have similar faces. Seth just raised his hand. Seth just raised his hand as if to say, I'm thinking it, Mike. What are you guys thinking? We're thinking that was 100% absolutely his journal. I'm not buying that a guy hand wrote 500 books in an underground way and it got circulated and it just happened to be under dude's bed. I do think this. I do think this. Wow, dude. That's pretty quick on the draw. That's pretty quick on the spot to come up with that one. And by the way, congratulations to you, bro. But shouldn't she totally know her boyfriend's or her now husband's handwriting? She didn't.
You don't know your boyfriend's handwriting? Because I know my boyfriend's handwriting and I would know instantly if it was a book or not. I'll tell you what that would be. That would be a case of her trying to remember back however many years ago. Unless, of course, he still has it. I mean, does he still have the book? Yeah, we still have the book. And it's funny because we joke about it now. But honestly, I know it's not his. What is the book called? It's called My... My Journal. Yeah, it's called My Journal by Todd, you know, so-and-so. No, what is it called? It's called My Personal Diary, and it's by Jeff. I can't remember the guy's last name, but it's Jeff something or other. Let's see. And we looked it up on the Internet, and we were looking for it. The funny thing is, is I know it's not his because at the end of the book, the guy becomes a vampire. You're married to a vampire? Whoa. I would check his teeth. Wow. Watch your neck. Yep. Otherwise, I'm in trouble, but him sleeping in that coffin may explain a lot of things. Well, thank you for the call, Dawn. I appreciate it. Have a good one, Mikey. We'll see you. Seems a little strange. You ready, mate? I'm ready. Hey, Mikey. My husband had a journal, and I read it, and then I wished I wouldn't have. It just caused a whole lot of hurt, and I had to tell him I read it.
And it caused a lot of drama. That's P1 Jackie. Our text number is 35253. Mikey, I was never suspicious of my girlfriend until I cheated on her myself. Now I want to dig through her phone or diary, whatever. That's P1 Karma. Mikey, I've read emails, text messages, and journals from three different boyfriends, and it's never made me feel any better or more secure. That's P1 Guilty. Mikey, what if it's your guy roommate? Yeah, it's awesome. And I think there's just not a lot of openings. Did you put the part in the tape about the big hands? Yeah, yeah. Okay. It's probably the best part to highlight. Maybe. That's actually all the tape says. So I don't know. Check this out. Guinness Book of World Records. has named the most powerful actor and actresses in Hollywood. And actress. He played Elliot in E.T., didn't he? No. Yeah, there he is. He played Vinny in Doogie Howser. Oh, that's right, Mike. You gotta love Doog. No. He played one of the guys. That's true. Oh. Pony Boy. Pony Boy. Oh, Pony Boy. You do it for Pony, man. No, you do it for Dally. You do it for Dally? Yeah. I thought you did it for Pony. Something happened yesterday and it was like a big deal. Yeah. Skrill. You know, I'm not going to do it justice, obviously. Black Monday. But this is what I get out of it. Oh, I love that. Wow. It's better than Mexican Monday, I'll tell you that right now. Black Monday, I'm in. Yeah. All right. Double down. Black any day, believe it or not. Give me a Black Tuesday, I'll take it. Whatever. Wrap it up. I'll take it. So, um. I like Black. Right, Sean. So this is what I got out of it, Mike. Yesterday, a couple of investment firms went under. One was Lehman Brothers Holdings, which filed bankruptcy. The other was Merrill Lynch, which, you know, was in bad shape. Merrill Lynch filed bankruptcy? No. Merrill Lynch was in really bad shape. And so basically Bank of America saved them from filing bankruptcy by buying them out for a steal. So basically big companies that run the money in this country.
country are doing really bad and they're filing for bankruptcy and they're having to be bought out and then also bad news yesterday hp said they're gonna cut about 25 000 jobs over the next couple years so just some really bad news all over i buy their printer ink yeah me too dude i will tell you this though hp i don't know about you do you have a color printer yeah Dude, my HP color printer, you have to get a different cartridge for every color. Yeah. It's so lame. You do? I thought that's what I have. Dude. And I have the multi. Well, sometimes I... Maybe it's the different printers. Yeah, we have ones from this century. No, mine's new. Really? Check it out. Yeah, it's like six months old. I got it in 87. Yeah, I prefer the one color cartridge dealie. Mine's the same way. Yeah. I got the, you got it by the separate thing. I don't like going to the store to get Sienna. You shouldn't have to. My computer tells me when I'm low on ink and sends me right to the website and I order it and it sends it. Really? Yep. That's sweet. How do you do that? Awesome. Like a credit card? Yeah, it sends you to the website and you order it online.
How do you do that? Where do you put the money? Stick the money in the side of the computer? No, no, no. You type in your credit card information, and then they, you know, take it out from there. Yeah, I got a credit card. Wow. So with all this bad business news, the stock market. Remember when you got a credit card the first time, you're like, whoa, this is free money. Like, you can actually buy stuff with this. He still thinks that way. I don't have to actually have money in my pocket. I can buy stuff with this. Whatever I want. A lot of trouble. I'll take a double, please. Yeah, so basically everybody in the stock market was freaking out yesterday, and the Dow Jones Industrial suffered their worst point drop since the 9-11 attack, since people were freaking out right after 9-11. Damn you, tall heads. Yeah, so, you know, it's pretty bad. I want to fast forward the clock. I guarantee you, man, when my kid is a teenager, we're still going to be going, You'll never believe what we went through in 2007, 8, 9. I think it'll be like those three years. 2010, it'll be like probably getting fixed up. Yeah, I'm a cameo. I fixed everything by then. Hopefully. Yeah.
Because he's following the awesome model that President Bush did. But he's not. Oh, but he is. He isn't. Oh, he is. He kind of is. Look into it. He's here, isn't he? Well, he is, actually. You need to look into it. Actually, he is. Guys, I need to know. It's the same kind of policies. It's like a carpet. That's what my sister said, too, but my boyfriend has a whole other story. I'm trying to figure it out. You're going to ask yourself who's got it right, my brother or my sister? No, my boyfriend or my sister. Oh, your boyfriend or your sister? My sister is, like, 100%. Like, she literally called me and goes, who are you voting for? And I go, I'm voting for Obama. And she goes, okay, good. Making sure. Because if you weren't, then I'm going to. I mean, she, like, attacked me verbally on the phone. She's so crazy. And your boyfriend? And my boyfriend. Well, he will play. Oh, my gosh, Mark. My boyfriend, who I love, if you're listening, which I think you are. I love you. As much as your genie eyes. Eat this macaroni. What is that? What is that? Eat this macaroni. Eat this macaroni. But it has shellfish in it, and he's allergic to shellfish. Yeah, I don't want to eat that. I don't want to eat that. That could kill me. He would die. That could kill me. He will very politely, like, he is very smart, and he explains things to me in a way I can understand it, Mike, and it's really nice. Yeah, it's called sign language. It's amazing. You're smart. So he'll talk politics with me. I'll baby talk, actually. Yeah. Pop-up books. Crayola. He's real good, and he is like,
He's 100% for McCain. And he's really trying to sway my boat. Of course, he's a smart person. He's a genius, really. He's not thinking with his heart, like a young person with dreams. Idyllic dreams. Idyllic dreams. Childlike. Yes, childlike. If they don't agree with you, we're children. If they were like puppy dogs and rainbows. It's very idyllic. Everybody should have a ham in their house. What? A ham in every house? What? But yeah, so he really, you know, tries to, but he said what Eddie just said. And then my sister said what Sky just said, which is, you know, McCain is going to have the same policy as Bush. And then, you know, my boyfriend's like, well, no, that's not the case. So I'm like, well, who's telling the truth? Yeah, there, listen. Tricky. No one knows, really. Yep, that's a mystery. It's all a mystery. Yes, you never really know. Join the P1 Text Army. Did we ever do the... Who did you say was the most powerful actor and actress in Hollywood? C. Thomas Howell. I thought we all... Yeah, we never got past C. Thomas Howell. We just made fun of C. Thomas Howell and never got said. Yeah, and then you asked about the stock market. For real? Yeah. That's weird. That's awesome. By that's weird, I mean me. But who is it? Shia LaBeouf. Tom Hanks. Most powerful actor. That means they make the most. John C. Reilly. No, that they... Powerful. Most powerful. They make good money. They have, you know, they're respected. Leo DiCaprio. Influence, all of these things. Charles Nelson Reilly. 300. I would say, I know, I'm going to guess. Bill Cosby. No, it's, I'm going to guess that it is Will Smith. You are correct, Ashley. It is Brad Pitt. She fooled me. She fooled me. You got me. You are more right than that. Brad Smith is way more bigger than Brad Pitt. And how about the actress? Jolie. Yes, Angelina Jolie. Oh, what a cute couple. Whoa, that's so interesting. Boo. The Guinness book also lists the highest grossing actor. So over their career, who has, you know, grossed the most money? Wedge and Tilly's. Cruzalicious. Will Smith. Hurston Jones is pretty gross.
John Ratzenberger. I still say Will Smith. C. Thomas Howell. How much did they gross? Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford. No. Yes, it is. Shia LaBeouf. You're still not getting it. Shia LaBeouf's gross. Rob. Okay. Hey, you know who it really is? You know the guy from The Lord of the Rings, the two towers that played the king of Rohan? Yeah. He was also the captain in the Titanic. Yes, he was. So talk about three of the hugest grossing movies of all time. Yeah. That guy. Well, no. How much money did they make? Not how much money did they make for a studio. This is stupid. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. It's a flawed question. Give me a break already. Would you like the answer? Leonardo DiCaprio. It's not Will Smith? The black chick from Clueless. Is it? Oh, I got it. It's Tom Cruise. Stacey Dash? I already guessed. Oh, money! Stacey Peach. I'll give you a hint. Carrot Top. What's the guy? The dude from The Matrix that was also Mike in Lord of the Rings. He'd have to be. He'd have to be. What's that guy's name? I don't know, but he's got great. You know this guy's name. We don't have to. Nicholas Cage. Fine. Tom Sizemore. Mark Hamill. It's been in a lot of movies. I know. Sometimes you wonder, hey, you can turn down a movie every now and then, bro. And it was clean. It was so clean. It wasn't clean. Sean was talking in the background. Oh, darn it. It was so clean. When she said maybe Eddie was right, it was clean. Pristine. All right, whatever. So I was right. It was the captain from the Titanic. Yes, you were right. And the guy who played the King of Rohan from Two Towers and Return of the King. That guy. It's that dude. Samuel L. Jackson. Let's see. That was Tandy Lowenbrow. She's my favorite. Azeth, you were only putting up that chick's song, right? You weren't putting up the national anthem? Correct. Okay, so I think Sean has that. Last night, Monday Night Football, there was a gal that sang the national anthem.
Her name is Kat DeLuna. Never heard of her. I saw her. She looked young. She looked really young. She's like 21. And she came out and sang the national anthem. Now, why Kat DeLuna? I don't know. I don't know if she's from Dallas or something. Do we know? Does she have a popular song? Yeah, she had a hit. She had a hit. It's called Run the Show. You'll know it. Is this the only one you have, Zach? There's one other song. What is it? Wine Up. Yeah, this is it. Let me put that out there. Oh, yeah. Totally. It replaced that one. It's summertime. Ladies looking hot. Shaking up what they got. Elephant men and cats, come on. It sounds like I have a headache. Everything smells like beer. Thick pot smoke in this club.
The hook? Yes. I feel fat. Let's go. You missed the hook. Oh, really? We're coming up on the hook. Yeah, but now I know. She had that one hit. That one hit. Kat DeLuna. This was her, and the reason that we're playing this for you, her national anthem did not go over well. It was bad. Cut 45. Our national anthem. Tonight's featured entertainer. as 20-year-old pop sensation Kat DeLuna. Sean, can you isolate just the parts where she's doing the... Can you isolate just that one part? Yeah, you should never publicly sing the national anthem unless you're Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, or a little cute child. Those are the only people who should be able to sing that song in public. And Carl Lewis.
You did a really good job. I don't know about that. Or Jeff Gordon. Oh, well, he only sings Take Me Out to the Ball Game. That's right. Or Tony Romo. Tony Romo did, right? Those two guys killed Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Really good. Yeah, the national anthem is not something to be toyed with. Don't mess, just sing it. You don't have to put your spin on the national anthem. Not necessary. We know how it goes. It's not necessary. It's not. It's not. It's not necessary. Wow. Let's see. What else is happening in the world? Nothing. There is. There's a lot, Rob. There's a lot happening. You don't know, Rob. I know that Boston's not in first place. They are in first place. Please, he just settled down. Hey. I almost had a heart attack earlier when you were saying that. That's funny. 87% of dudes bring their Blackberry into the bedroom. 84% check their emails on their BlackBerry just before they go to sleep. 80% check them in the morning as soon as they get up. 62% said they love their BlackBerry. Yeah. I got a boysenberry. I got a boysenberry at the flea market. It's a banana. It's not really a phone. Yeah, I got the iPhone. I check that thing all the time. Yeah. As soon as I wake up in the morning, I check it. It controls your life, though. It doesn't. Oh, yeah, it does. Not mine. Let me take it away for a day. No. No, no, no, no. You are an iPhone addict. I will not. I do not want that. But that doesn't mean that it controls your life just because you don't want it. Yes, it does, dude. Why? Because you can't live without it. I can't, but I really don't want to. It owns you. I really don't want to. I want to be able to know what's happening. Right now I have in front of me, I have 29 emails. I have to know what they are. Answer them. You don't have to. It's so hard to. Right back already. Take a breath. Take a breath. Oh, no. Oh, no. I have so many. I wish I could just read about tomatoes. Okay. But I can't. Dude. Oh, dude. You are special. Come on. Stop it. I am. Stop that right now. That's all I want to do. I didn't get a chance to last night, so this morning I had a couple of minutes. Oh, good. Good. I'm glad. Three o'clock in the morning.
There I was on my iPhone reading tomato questions. Loving it. Sean, do you have that isolated part? Yeah. Let's hear it. A bit overwhelming, isn't it? Sky has a list of American cities with the most attractive people. Opposite. Bottom of the list. No. I've been to Boston. Oh, really? You've been there once and you were so drunk. You don't even remember the trip. Oh, really? You go say that in Boston. I would love to. I would love to. Oh, yeah. Dude. Have another there. Hold on. First of all, I've been to Boston twice. Maybe a minor delay left over at Governor Drive on this 805 northbound. That's really about it. So just enjoy the quiet ride out there. Hopefully you'll stay that way for some time. We've got a board to wait of an hour and a half still at some wings of San Ysidro heading into the U.S. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105 for 8. Mikey Show. Hey, people, I'm Brad. What's up, Brad? I went to Sleep Frame, got myself one of the freaking nicest mattresses there. They gave me it for less than half a bite. What kind of mattress? I got the Sturgeon Foster Silver Dream. That's the one I have. That thing is supposed to be like $69.95 or something. I think I got it out the door $28.50. I got it for $3,200 and then somebody else at another store beat up my price. So they came back and beat it by 5%. Damn. That's nice. And they gave me free mattress cover, free pillow covers. What size did you get? A twin? Or what did you get? I got the California King. Oh, you big pimp. Ashley's in. Oh, dude. It's pretty comfortable, huh?
I'm still waiting to get it. I have a roommate that's moving out soon that's going to go in that room. Oh, it's the greatest bed ever. That's the mattress I sleep on. It was so freaking comfortable at the showroom. Yeah, did you get in there and take a nap and take pictures? Pictures? We love you, Brad. Thank you, Brad. Later. We'll see you. It's another Mikey moment. The date of the 28-hour show, ladies and gentlemen. Is Wednesday, October the 8th. Holy moly. But, Mike, that's less than a month away. Less than a month away? Mike. Are you kidding me? Mike. Oh, my word. My gosh. Less than a month. That's right, Skye. No. It's about three weeks away. How dare you? How dare you, sir? I don't feel good. That's right. Aren't you guys excited? No.
Wednesday, October the 8th. Oh, yeah. Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. It's 941. Pink Floyd, co-founder and keyboardist Richard Wright, died yesterday at the age of 65. Sean Merriman, who you heard on the Mikey Show earlier today, had successful surgery in Miami. He also got fined $7,500 for his hit on Jake the Loan. And he had no idea. In fact, he heard Eddie announce it. That was a little uncomfortable. Yeah, that's how he found out because he heard Eddie saying he had been fined. He didn't even know. Oops. I think his agent would have sent him a text or something. If you are just tuning in, you would have missed this. Happened right before the break. Sky has a list of American cities with the most attractive people. San Diego is number two on the list. Yeah, it is. Is that number two? Yes.
The nation's most attractive people. They grade on the curve. Okay, so this is not women. This is people. This is people. What cities have the most attractive people? Milwaukee, Wisconsin. LA. Los Angeles is number six. Wow, San Diego has better looking. Yeah, we do. We do because we have the beach. Fantastic moment. Holy moly. The fantastic moment. I truly loved it. Could you imagine what L.A. would be if they had a beach? They would do. They'd probably be number one. They'd probably be number one and we'd be number two because we have one too. Oh, yeah, yeah. Right, right. Hey, listen, I get it, okay? So we don't have a beach, okay? I get it. No, that's not the point. L.A. has a beach. We don't. Oh, jeez. Okay. We have beaches that encourage people. Oh, it's because we have more than one. To go outside and take care of themselves physically, which thus makes them more attractive. Get it? Yes. This does not happen in Los Angeles. Or Miami. Not as much. They can't do that. You don't have the beaches that motivate them. Yes, they have unmotivatable beaches. They have what they call fat beaches. You know what I'm saying. Well, I mean, Ashley, you know that Los Angeles is packed with beaches, right?
Yeah, but they're not very, like, fitness. That's why we're all laughing. Malibu and, like, places like... That's not Los Angeles. But it is, though. It's all LA. No, it isn't. No, it isn't. It's not. That's like Malibu County, man. No. It's like saying Mahoya isn't San Diego. I mean... It isn't. Okay. And doesn't, like, LA, you have to look good to be in, like... Yeah, but not if you go to the beach. That's like, oh, you guys are so stupid. P1 Trivia is your opportunity to come and hang out in the studio with us on Friday. In fact, this Friday we will allow... a couple of listeners to come in here and hang out with us if we decide that two listeners can come in. Sometimes one of the people's not very good. But you call us, 570-1053. The only thing that we ask is that you're able to come into the studio on Friday because we cater food and you get to experience the show in a behind-the-scenes type fashion. You get a laminate that goes around your neck and it's a pretty good time. It's pretty fun. And don't take over the show, please.
Even though that's never really happened. Nobody has ever come in and... I mean, sometimes you'll ask me questions or something like that. Yeah, and they'll answer it if that's what he means by taking over the show, you know, but I think that Sean... Sean's very sensitive to people speaking if they're not on the show. He gets kind of... They take over, dude. Kind of irritated. P1 Trophy Lounge is on the line. Yo, hi. How are you? All right. Yo, hi. How old are you, Trophy Lounge? 26. 26? How long have you been listening? 2005. Three years. Three plus. Three years. All right. And your name is Trophy Lounge. Nice. Gotcha. Championship. And guess who else is going to be playing? Who? A guy named P1AO. Have you guys ever heard of that guy? P1AO. How old are you? Man, I'm 25 years old. Screaming like a five-year-old. That's right, baby. Built like G.I. Joe. Hey, come on, Eddie. It's nothing home skillet. Come on. Bring it home. Hey, watch me. Show them what you do. Hey, I'm going to do that. I'm going to do that. Ayo, how long have you been listening? Man, forever. I'm just going to write that here. How long have you been breathing, Mike? Yeah, yeah, Mike, ever. I'm just going to put E-V-A. E-V-A.
Yeah, that's it. Ever. Guys, is that right? Is that right? I hope I got that right. I put fo-ever. Yeah, that's how it's spelled. You got to take off the four. Just put ever. Well, I wasn't cool enough to write the number four. He just put F-O dash E-V-A. That's right. Well said. Well, we will keep this fair, and we will start with Trophy Lounge, since Trophy Lounge is about to get his lunch handed to him. Yeah! Trophy Lounge, listen, we're going to give it a shot anyway. You've got to get the five points. You can get there using one, two, or three-point questions. Ones are easy, threes are hard. You can do it with two questions by getting a three and a two, or you can take the easy road. Easy road, Sky Tactic 2. You got it. Love it. Your two-point question is, what food does Ashley bake on a regular basis? I guess you could call them cookies, but... That is correct. That is correct, Trophy Lounge. Well done. You know the recipe by heart? Cakey's. P1AO. Well, man, I just kind of want to play it. He gets one wrong, so I'll just go with a two, Mike. You're going to take a two as well. Yeah, I'm going to take a two, Mike. You got it. Okay. What two show members are the only two not from the Bay Area? All right, I'm going to go with Rob and Zed. You are correct. Oh, what's up? Very good. Ayo.
What you got to say now? Trophy Lounge, are you going to continue the Sky tactic of taking 2.2.1? Uh-huh. Or will you try to finish the game with a three? It's Sky's way or the highway, a two. You got it. You got it. Not smart. P1 Trophy Lounge, where was the P1 Hall of Fame induction held? Ring con? Can you be a little bit more specific? By the pool? No, no, no. Your venue. Valley View Casino. Should I hit that? Yeah, I hit it. There is nothing to hit. This is not on. That's awesome. Good thing he didn't say the whole word. Yeah, he didn't. I was on this morning. Come over and look at this. This is weird. Does it still have the number up? Yeah, it says 64P. What does that mean? I don't know. It means, oh, I know what that is. That's a code for you've been fined. You are screwed. Yeah. Let's see. Huh? What? We're in delay. What? Do you know why it's doing that? I didn't cut. No, no, no, no. I know. I know. We're just. I know. We're just. We need to make sure that we have this thing all. Get a better studio. I do, dude. No. Please. Come on. Preaching to the choir. Yeah.
Hey, who's repping? I'm going to give you that one. It's Hera's Rincon. I think you're close enough. I'm going to give you that one. You've got four points. Trophy lounge. P1 Ayo. Take it to the house. Oh, my. What are you going to do, Ayo? Well, I'm going to have to ask Ashley, is it okay if I can use her base coach on this one? Of course, Ayo. Ayo. Happy? You know what's up. Take it to the house. Mike. Give it to me, Mike. You got it. What up? What up? What up? That's what's up. Your three-point question, Ayo, is what is Ashley's guardian angel's name? Oh, man. Really, Mike? I mean, really? Really? That is hard. I even had to think for a sec. I don't remember. You don't remember? I got it. It's a song by Simon and Garfunkel. Thank you. Simon and Garfunkel? Yeah, I'm sure you've got plenty of their entire CD collection, Ayo.
In your truck right now, right? In fact, you were just listening to the boxer right before you called. Hey, I'm bumping. I... Please don't be disappointed in me. I am. Ashley! What? I'm upset. Don't hate. You should know this. I'm hating on my AO. Hey, don't hate. I'm hating. I don't even know. Bro, you should know this. Hey, see, Eddie's with... Pappy's with me. I apologize. I do not know. It's all good, kid. Let the man know what's up. Oh, yeah. Cecilia. I must have been on vacation for that day. That's right. That's right. It's all good. Everybody take a breath. Everybody just take a breath. P1 Trophy Lounge, you need only answer a one-point question to win. I got a weird request. I know I only need one, but I always wanted to see if I could answer a three. Really? I love it. I love it. Holy cow.
Put dogs on the trophy lounge. The rocks on this guy. Awesome. He basically needs to run the clock out, but he's instead going for a Hail Mary. That's right. That's right. All right, here we go. Are you ready? Oh, my gosh. I think so. Your three-point question is, and this would require that you be a P1 and that you would have been a P1. You can't have listened for a year and know the answer to this question. Are you ready? Yes. What is the first name of the sales guy that we nicknamed Microsoft? Wow. Leo, you know? Yeah, I know. Oh, no! Meekrat's my guest, but I don't have any. Meekrat is not correct. That's not cool. Whatever. Meek Rat is not correct. Oh, wow. That's awesome. Ayo, what is it? If I'm not mistaken, don't punch me in the face, but I think it's Russell, isn't it? You are correct. You are correct. Redemption, what's up? You are correct. So what are you going to do here, Ayo? Are you going to go for the kill? Answer a three-point question. You know what you've got to do?
Hey, Mike, show them on. Hook it up. Here it is. Show them on. Your three-point question is... How have I got? How have I got? It's a tough question. How have I got? What is Skye's middle name? Really? Again? Oh, you should know this. Oh, dude, we've said this one. We've made fun of this endlessly. If you know Russell, you should know this. Can I give him a hint? No. All right. Yes, you can. Come on, O. Is it money? Is it have? Ayo, I'm going to give you a hint. It's a guy's name. Ramsey. Oh. What did he say? Ramsey. Ramsey is not Ramsey. Oh, Ayo. Ayo. I didn't say Ramsey. That wasn't me. Go ahead. You can give me an answer. Is it Richard? No. Yes, my middle name is Richard. Oh, really? Like the real answer is so out there. Hey. Hey, you know what, Charper Richard. Her middle name is Alan. Oh, man. That's whack. That's crazy. That's not whack. Danny's going to be so mad at me. P1 Trophy Lounge, are you going to go for a one-pointer? Are you going to try to shoot the three again?
I'm going to have to go with a one. Yeah, be smart. You got it. Every Friday, we play Battle of the Sexes. What are the names of the two teams that participate? Team Sass and Team Awesome. You got it. Of course you get the Kameo. Of course you do. Oh, my God, I love you guys so much. In my mind, you're both winners. Oh, that's sweet. See you on Friday, you two. Yeah! Hey, word up. Who's the man? Uh, Mikey? Hello? Never called in before, but I love your show, and you guys rock. Oh, that's awesome. Do you have a pending lawsuit, but you need cash now? Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 mph on the highway instead of 65 mph, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just...
Accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. Oh, that's Jack. Fire. Sean. Fire. Some of the text messages that we're getting. Hey, Mikey, do you know the name of the bathhouse that Sky goes to? My anniversary is coming up, and I want to take my girl somewhere nice. That's P1 Messer. Well, this is actually an old story. This happened in San Jose and has since been shut down by the Vice Squad. Well, you know, the dirty stuff that was going on. Shut up.
Sky, you said that you went back and they were closed down. No, I did not say that. I thought they were. A listener called in. An internet listener from San Jose called in and said that they are no longer there. We don't know why they closed down. We don't know what happened. Maybe the jacuzzi fad ran out. Maybe. Wow. Maybe they decided to retire in the Bahamas. I'm too embarrassed. You don't know. It's a jacuzzi club. Some people like to soak in until the hot water. There's no such thing. What do you want? It's a jacuzzi club. You don't know. You've never been there. I've never been to a bathhouse. That is true. I have respect for myself. And neither have I. Neither have I. Sky went to a jacuzzi club. This is a club. There is no membership. But it is... But I think you could get like a frequent user card. Yeah, you could if you... You're a prostitute. Well... No, listen, here's the deal. You would... You would definitely need to be a jacuzzi enthusiast. Meaning that, meaning that, you know. Well, listen, no, no. No, it has nothing to do with sex. Sky, don't worry. I got this one handled. Thank you, Mike. The deal is, is that a lot of people don't have a jacuzzi at home. Yeah. And so, and most people, I think that you ask anybody, they'll say, I like jacuzzis. Of course. But there are some people.
Just like there are some people that like to swim more than others. There are some people that like to go hiking more than others. Yeah, but do you have sex in the jacuzzi? At the jacuzzi club? Yeah, in a private room? Well, I mean, first of all, inappropriate question. But, I mean, who knows? I mean, first of all, you're talking about... Are you a spokesperson for Sky or the club? I'm a spokesperson for Sky and the club. And what I will say is... What I will say on said topic is that... First of all, we would hope that we wouldn't have to even make such a rule because that's ridiculous. People aren't coming here. People aren't coming to. Question, sir. Go ahead. Did Sky have sex at the Jacuzzi Club? That's a question for my client. I like that answer. I believe that's none of your business. Yeah. Oh, wow. I think I rest my case. How do you rest your case? I will remind you that my client was extraordinarily young. My client was extraordinarily young and impressionable. Back that ass up. And impressionable. And she... My client did not just, with her facial expressions, kind of agree with what you previously said. Well, yeah, he said, I like to back that ass up. Okay, this is ridiculous. She's talking about a donkey, by the way. You're the best. Well, Mike. No, when you put a donkey in reverse. That's really kinky. This text message says...
Hey, Mikey, is Zeth single? What's his name? Is Hell Yeah an answer? We should have an auction off Zeth where P1s can bet on Zeth to win a date. The money raised can go to charity or something. P1, I think Zeth is cute, smiley face. Dr. Wayne got a text number. You know, I think that the ladies, I think a lot of the ladies like Zeth. And I think after a certain age not touching a woman, you have to technically be gay. So rude. He's so rude. I'm sorry. I mean, Rob's like one of my best friends. I know, right? That's how we are. It's not necessary. Well, I don't blame you.
Not necessary. He's always crying. He really can't help himself. I can't. I love Zeth to death. You just made him cry, dude. Come on. He's always crying. That's not nice. Girls like sensitive guys. That's true. Put that on your resume. Zeth is a really good catch in a lot of ways. He is, but I think that what happens is that Zeth... Uh-oh. I don't want to play this game, Mike. Yeah, Mike, we're saying nice things about our friends right now. Yeah, I know. That's what I was about to do. Okay, what nice things do you guys say about Zeth? I think Zeth messes it all up. Well, no, that's not nice. That's me. That is me, Mike. No, I think he's just picking the wrong ladies. Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that, too. Well, maybe he is. Maybe he is. You're sweet on him a little bit, too? But, Rob, you have to admit, He has had the opportunity with a bunch of hookers. No, wait a second. Hang on, hang on. He's had the opportunity. Eddie, why are you doing to be free? Stop.
That is officially called Tootie Fruity Hand. It's called the Tootie Fruity Hand. Why is that happening? Tootie Fruity Hand. My favorite already. I don't like it. Rob's a little sweet on Zeth. Tootie Fruity Hand. I didn't mean to hurt you, sweetie. Come here and nuzzle in my breast. Oh, yuck. Rob, wouldn't you agree that Zeth, even when he has the opportunity with the... nicer gals, he will say something kind of inappropriate. Idiot! But that all relates back to... Sky is officially one of the guys, man. I'm not kidding you. I don't know when it happened. I don't know what year it happened. You're the worst. You're the worst. That all relates back to him picking the wrong lady. Yeah, but you said he's picking, you know... He's got to find that girl that has that sense of humor. They're out there, dude. They're out there. I've met them. That's true. Don't you think that's the wrong girl? The girl that would get that sense of humor? No way, but he's super sensitive. If a girl gets that kind of humor, she's going to crack a joke at him, and he's going to start crying.
I'm not even joking. It's the truth. He's always crying. If a girl thinks a herpy joke is funny, then eventually she's good. And that would be the light end of his inappropriate jokes. Hopefully Zeth will grow out of the inappropriate joke scene. Don't ever lose that, dude. I think Ashley's right. I think that's something that he will hopefully eventually grow out of. I think that he masks... Uses that to mask his insensitive. I agree. I did, too. He's a sad clown. I did, too. But he doesn't need to do that, you know? Can he come home crying to his mom? The tattoos, all that stuff. That's what I did. I'm a sensitive cat by nature. Oh, I'm wicked sensitive, too. Let's talk about it. Shut up. You are one of the few people, Rob, that he just did Tutti Frutti. He won't stop. I love it so much. My wife and I were talking about this. Rob is one of the very few people that I've ever met that has extraordinarily thick skin, like genuinely. I mean, I don't know a lot of people that genuinely do, but he's not, Rob cannot be classified as sensitive because I think that he's had some hard knocks that have forced him to be kind of, you know, and it's real. He's not just putting it on. I put it on. I used to.
I used to put on that I had a much tougher exterior than I do. But Rob, he's for real in that regard. Takes a lot. You want to see how thick his skin is? Even Superman, dude. Even Superman. You bring that kryptonite around. That's it. There it is. Do you little Tootie Fruity dance. Get out of here. Come on. That's so silly. He just pressed his bottom right up against it. Listen, there would be a playoff game. Yes, sweetie. You know what? I'm not even going to stoop to your level. Yeah, you are. Don't do it, Rob. You better jump up to my level. Take the elevator, pal. I know two single women, but I think Zeta's too young. Yes, I agree. Give it a shot. He's too young. No. I think he needs to be dating right now. I don't think he should be in a relationship. You think he should be dating? Yeah, I think he should be getting out there. I think he should be dating, but I don't necessarily, because Zeth will also, I love you, Zeth. He will also tend to fall really quickly, fall very hard. Everybody does if you find somebody that you like. No, no, but I'm talking that Zeth. I think that's true of everybody. I'm talking about Zeth. I've seen Zeth. I've seen him date several girls, and he.
It falls very quick. I've seen it happen multiple times. He will attest to this. So I think that that's something that maybe he should date around. But it doesn't sound like he's the type to date around. By the way, Seth has not said a word in four months. Where's Amy Winehouse? What? For those of you that may wonder this, Zeth does have a microphone. He does. His own mic. It's always on. It's on right now. I just want people to know. And he has not been barred from using it. He's allowed. But I think that you're right. Maybe he does. But that's not a personality that is conducive with dating. That's a personality that doesn't like dating. In fact, they don't like it so much, they'd rather be in a relationship with somebody and just have it be happy and smooth sailing than to date a whole bunch of times. I think. Eddie. No, I don't want to. Zad just turned his mic off and rolled his eyes. I was about to give this guy a compliment. Go ahead. Maybe I don't feel like it anymore. No, I want to hear it, Chad. I want to hear it. Tell him to put his headphones back on. Put your headphones back on, odors. Get off your Fargan phone, man.
He's answering phone calls. He's taking calls. Get off your Fargan phone. Get off your Fargan phone, man. You just told him to get off the phone. I know, but I don't want to... Listen, if he doesn't want to talk, I don't want to make him. Okay. What's up? Eddie's going to say something nice. I think... Yes, I'm on the phone. There is more to Zeth than meets the eye. Oh, yeah. I think that this guy... Like a transformer? No, I... Well, I kind of like that. Transgender. He can turn into a bitch. No, remember you're saying nice things. Just a joke. Just a joke. I think that Zeth on the weekends... probably has fine luck with the ladies and doesn't tell us about it. Absolutely. Absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind. What do you think, Zeth? I don't think much of anything. I think you're ruining my game. Game? Gay? What is up with Chantel? I know, she should date Zeth. Leave that alone. Dude, it's so weird, man. They have this connection or something. They're both single. Never. Just explain it. That's all I wanted. Just explained. What do you want to explain? Why are they attracted to one another? I don't see that. I'm not talking like... I totally see it. I just want it to happen. I'm not talking... You guys just took that like I meant solely...
I find you attractive. They are attracted. They have fun together. They have fun. They're friends. Yeah. I'm talking the same kind of attraction that makes you want to hang out with a buddy. That makes you like, seriously, when you meet somebody and your personality set it off and you become friends with them and you're like, you're attracted. Like sexual chemistry? No, that's, I'm just, I'm trying to say the exact. Yeah. Well, I think you answered your own question, Mike. They hang out like buddies. I know, but why are they so attracted? Because this is the thing. We all know that when we are truly in love, when we truly fall in love and we get married. We marry the person that is like our best friend. Oh, yeah. That's why Eddie and I are married. Yes. Oh, boy. But doesn't that, I'd say, 90% of the time start with a physical attraction and then it turns into the BS forever? I would say that it happens both ways because you hear total stories of people that were friends.
And then they became lovers. Yeah, well, that physical chemistry is not there. It's just not going to happen. Timing is everything. First of all, I believe it is. I'm not buying it when she says that she doesn't find him attractive. I'm not buying it one second. I believe she does, and I think he thinks it. She is. I mean, you know, she's a cheerleader. Charger girl. He's way too late for me, homeboy. They really enjoy each other's company. They do? Dude, for real. I really didn't know. Because I'm in my own little room. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, they do. I don't get that either. I don't get it. No, no, I don't get that they enjoy each other's company and all that stuff. Where do you see that? The invite to the birthday. She's always chatting him up. She'll have little Zeth references. Really? Yeah. Yeah. It exists. I just don't understand it. And what I really don't get is I think to myself, well, you guys enjoy each other's company. You know? Why not? You just want it to happen. I do. I do. It's the timing, too, Mike. You got to think. Timing's not right. That's gay. He's not. He's not gay, dude. He's not gay. Hey, leave him alone. His microphone's on, by the way. It's just who this is. He chooses not to. Mike in here is so hot. So take off all your clothes.
Yes, you're on the air. Yeah, I was calling to call back about Seth being into dating in the furry world. Well, his name isn't Seth. Are you sure? His name isn't Seth. Let me check that. It's actually Zeth. Well. Yeah, his name is Zeth. Well, Seth. See, it's Seth. Oh, it is Seth. Yeah. Well, Seth. This whole time I thought it was Zeth. Wow, our best. He'll tell you. I think maybe he's just afraid because he wants to come out as a golfer, but in the current environment, I think he's a little afraid. Mikey Show, hello. Never. Best reaction ever, Mike. Took the wind out of the sails, didn't it? Yes. It was like you were on one of those speed yachts, you know? You were beating everybody. And then all of a sudden, the wind stopped and the sails fell flat. You stopped right there in the middle of the ocean, and you saw all the other speedboats flying past you. And then a canoe passes you. Yeah, and you're like, what is up with that? And then a gopher goes swimming by. That's right. Then you take your shovel. Doesn't even make sense. There's total silence, and then that guy that just called on line two is there waving at you.
Oh, gosh. Mikey Show. What the heck is going on? I'm taking calls because I'm allowing Zeth to talk this whole time. What is he saying? Well, they're hearing it. Mikey Show, hello. Mikey. Yes. Yes. Yes. Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you. What's going on? Oh, yuck. Welcome to my job. That's right. I'm taking calls that are usually weeded out by Zeth. Well said. What can I do for you? I had a dream last night, but I was calling in, and I woke up right before I got to talk to you, so I thought it was a sign, you know? Wake up. Wake up. You thought you should call in today? Yeah, exactly. All right. Do you have anything to say? No, just say I want to talk to you guys. How old are you? 20. What do you do? I'm in the military. Where are you from? California. Where at? Do you have brothers and sisters?
One of each. What do you drive? An Explorer 03. What do your friends do? What are your hobbies? Like video games, Jeopardy. Give me some time, Sky. I'll get there. My hobby right now is napping. No, no, no. I'll get there. You watch. I'll find it. I don't think there's anything to find. Are you in a relationship? Yeah, I'm married. You're married. Do you have any kids? No. Hey, listen, I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. This guy, there's nothing exciting going on. I tried my best. I tried to make a phone call out of it, Sky. You got to give me credit for that, right? Yeah, I mean, you had great intentions. I had good intentions. I wanted to make a phone call out of this guy. Yeah. It was a nice try. Mikey. Yes, sir. This is P1 Chazbot. All right. All right. Awesome. I wish you guys could announce that our friends are getting back from Iraq today. Woo-hoo! There you go. That's nice.
That was nice. If you don't say it's nice, you're a terrible person. You're a terrorist. So you're kind of put in a corner, you know? Like if you don't agree with that full force, then you're just a bad American. Which means I'm forced to agree with that. I'm not doing it out of a giving heart. I'm doing it because he's got me in a corner like a caged rat. Like a pig with lipstick. That's right. Oh my gosh. I wonder what would have happened if Zeth had taken this call instead of me. One thing, why are you... I'm sorry, but I have to listen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Breathe again. It was tough. It was tough. It was tough. It was tough. It wasn't going anywhere. I've got a responsibility. I've got a responsibility. I have a responsibility. I almost ripped my own face off. I'm sure that man is a lovely man. It's fine, dude. But I have a responsibility. Yeah, man. To move the radio station along. So you hate the troops. No, no, no, no. I support the part that he said about the truce. He wasn't saying that. I support the part about the truce. I support it. Way to go. I support that. Semper Fi. Who wouldn't? Semper Fi. Mikey Show. Mikey, it's a T1A fan. What's up, dude? I'm just calling to go and talk to my boy Ayo. Let him know that the president of his fan club, we still believe in him.
There you go. Thank you very much. 570-1053. Mike, not today, bro. It's like a slap in the face. Yeah. Mike, and then the giggle. He's demeaning your authority every time you know him. Yeah, I know. It's like that kid that you have, you know, and you're there with all your friends over. and you did your best to clean the house up, and everything looks real nice and polished, and then you got that one kid runs out there, farts, and runs out of the room. You're enabling his behavior by not addressing it. He takes a dump on the coffee table. Oh, wow. And then runs out. And you're standing there with your friends, and, you know, they're looking at you like, what are you? Are you going to do something about that? Are you a parent? Are you not a parent? What are you going to do here? Had to go. And then, you know, you think to yourself, well, you know, he's so cute. But, you know, you don't want to. No, he's not cute. No, he kind of sometimes makes you laugh, you know. But you're like, man, I got to discipline that kid. I have to. You know, it's just. He's getting away with murder. Yeah, he's getting away with this. And regardless of fact, I think it's funny. It can't continue. No. Oh, it's not funny. There's nothing funny about it. He's making a fool of you in front of all of San Diego. I hope you're happy. Taking advantage of you. Yeah, I know. And obviously, I mean, it's very clear.
Regardless of the fact, if I think it's funny, it's just gotten to a point. Oh, no, it's not funny. It's kind of funny. So would you think it's funny if I spat in your face? Is that hysterical? I would not. Is that hysterical? That's your brand of humor? Sean, are you hearing this? What you've done? You've lost your mind. You've lost your mind. That is true, Eddie. Gotta get a camera. I'm done with this. I'm done with this. Dude, he's off his rock. This is a farce. This is a farce, and it is. You heard me. Tell him, Eddie. I support you, Eddie. This guy's out of his mind. And let me tell you something else. Let me tell you something else. He would never try it in person. No. He'd be done. He would never, ever in a million years would he try it in person. He knows better than that. Everybody's brave. He's a coward, Mike. From 800 miles. Great coward. 800 miles away, huh? Yeah. You just wait until October 8th, pal. Thank you. Oh, it's on. Oh, it is on. 28 straight hours. That's right. That's right, baby. Come on. You're sitting right next to me, sweetie. 28 hours next to Eddie. How do you like that? No, I'm too late. Too late. He's like high or something. There's something going on.
Done. This can't be. He is out of his mind right now. I got 20 bucks on the something. Two. I apologize. How dare you. Get out of here. I hope you like giving piggybacks. Oh, no. Wait. Hey, we got to. Oh, boy. We got to call you in like 10, 15. Yeah. All right. And we got to get out of here. 570-1053 is our phone number. Beginning and end of every show. Open phone segment. You can call in about anything you want to. Right now. I was totally in on Hanson's root beer and now I'm out. The diet? Yep, the diet. It lasted like two weeks. I thought I'd found the aging serum or whatever they call it. Fountain of youth. The aging serum. Brain science. So even when you correct yourself, you're not allowed to move on. Is that the deal? I found it. I found Fountain of Youth. Fountain of Aging Serum. I had to pay for Aging Serum. Eddie turned me on to the, what is it? The Cherry Vanilla. Cherry's Jubilee. The Hanson's Cherry Vanilla Soda. Your wifey gave me one at your house. Diet or regular. Makes a big difference. I don't know. But it's grubbing.
What is it, Eddie? Hansen's Cherry Vanilla. You don't drink the Hansen stuff? Oh, it wasn't yours? It was the wifey's? It's all my wife keeps in the house now. Why don't you like it anymore, Mike? Because I snuck some Diet Pepsi, and that ruined it. Uh-huh. So I was on the whole, like, wow, I'm healthy. And it tasted good, because I didn't know the other stuff. Right. And then what did I do? The other stuff. Heroin. Diet Pepsi. Black tar. Heroin. That's what it basically was. And now what? I'm supposed to go back to aspirin? Right. Forget you. Please. Spaghet. I timed it, you know. You're the only one who gets scared. And I mean terrified. It terrifies me when I do it. Yeah. Just let it go. Mikey show. Hello. Shut up. You're not even there anymore. You're not even here. Hey, 1032, bro.
His mic's off, but he's laughing. He's dying laughing. His mic's not on anymore. You've got to see a video of him laughing hysterically. Hysterically. He may hurt himself laughing. He's clapping. He's rocking. He's got his hands on. Roll up. Hey, have another, bro. Stop it. Be ashamed of yourself, Sean. You're a nutcase. We don't need you. We don't need you. How dare you? How dare you? P1 Quimby's on the line. Oh, Quimby. Hi, Quimby. Hi. How are you? I'm really good. So I was just calling to kind of defend Seth. He's my friend. And I don't think he has any problem with the ladies. He doesn't. Well. It seemed as though there were a few ladies who enjoyed talking with him over the Hall of Fame weekend. Yeah, yeah. The reason that they're saying that is because he had a lady friend that looked like, I would say, a pretty version of Amy Winehouse. Not Amy Winehouse crack addict. Amy Winehouse rehab video. She had a bouffant. It was awesome. But I think that...
The problem is, is that Zeth has a hard time finding Miss Wright, not Miss Wright now. He has no problem with Miss Wright now. I agree. He has a problem finding Miss Wright. 23. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I think since, you know, he talked about the last person he was dating on the air, that maybe he just wants to keep that on the DL. And I don't blame him. Oh, no, I don't think that's it, though. But, hey. But because that would mean that he also, that he wants to keep everything on the DL because he doesn't, we can't get him at all. He won't even return my emails. Oh, you either? No. Let's all just calm down. It's okay. Remember, Quimby, you called in to support Zeth. I did. I love him. That's how it started. I do got a crazy girl for Zeth if he wants to meet her one day. No crazy girls. No crazy chicks. Now, what happened there? Did you not dig her enough to see her again? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
That's honest. Well said. She's kind of crazy. Unnecessary. Unnecessary. P1300. You're so hurtful. You just started to finally talk and you cut him off. Well, I mean, we don't want him. I don't want him to say that. He always does that. Come on. Ash, I don't want him to put down people. P1300. Are we? put him down all morning. I know, but that's totally different. Totally different. I mean, you just said he ruins everything. The thing is, is that you're sitting there with a microphone on in front of him. You said that about him. This Amy Winehouse lady, she don't have no microphone in front of her. He's like a caterpillar. What? She's sitting there in the rehab video right now going, what did I do, you know? He's like a caterpillar. That's awesome. Oh my God. Think about it. It's so true. Mikey Show. Hi, I just wanted to thank Mikey and Sky for helping me to not feel like such a boob, for telling my girlfriend how I feel, you know. She tends to think that I get rude when I give her my honest feelings. Hang on, hang on now. This is the deal, this is the deal. I said this, I don't want to be mistaken with this, because I said this when I was talking about the whole feelings thing, if you're just tuning in, the deal was, it's always okay. Your feelings?
are always okay. It's the behavior that goes along with that that sometimes isn't. And I have to say, to clarify, it's the way you say it too. Oh yeah. Like your feelings should not be, I think you're a total, you know, a-hole. That's not telling, you know, that's not sharing your feelings. That's you being cruel. Right. And that's not necessary. So it's all in the approach as well. A lot of the time, you know, I try to be honest with her, but if it's something she doesn't want to hear, then she calls me, you know, an a-hole. Yeah. So, you know, you guys just kind of helped me to. Yeah, you might be with the wrong girl. I did very well, maybe. Yeah, you might be with the wrong girl. If you're not allowed, if you can't say, hey, I feel this way and be heard, then you are with the wrong girl. I gotcha. You should be able to be with a girl that you say, this is the way I feel, and it makes me feel bad, and they go, oh, man. Well, let's talk. Let's try to work it out. That's fine. Know what I'm saying? Thanks a lot, Mikey. You got it, dude. Mikey, show last call. Bring us home. Yeah, I have a couple of movie suggestions for the 28-hour show. Hey, we know that voice. That's Buckley. Buckley. Angel. Can't even disguise the voice, huh? That's right. The first movie is in honor of Seth. I think we should open Brokeback Mountain. Oh, my. Well, that movie may not be the right rating to broadcast on the air, but...
And the second one of most important, since Sky has this new love for killing gophers, maybe we could go through Caddyshack. Oh, wow. How dare you. Thank you, Buckley. Love you guys. Ladies and gentlemen, the lovely and talented Missy is up next. Today on the Nooner, she's got the all-request lunch. Request your songs. We'll see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. The Mikey Show's out, right? Love your mouth.
