The show opened by blaming the Chargers' loss to Miami on poor preparation and a lack of physical intensity, an argument Sean Merriman later sharpened by explaining what his injured presence normally adds to the defense. Boston Rob recounted surrendering a Red Sox playoff ticket rather than betray a promise to his fiancée, while Mikey turned Ashley's fresh breakup and his own chaotic lasagna attempt into comic studio material. Eddie analyzed Seth Petruzzelli's 14-second upset of Kimbo Slice, and the crew mixed that sports talk with a disastrous trivia contest and stories about a lightning strike and AO's freeway crash. In the most serious calls, Mikey told Scott he could heal after discovering his late girlfriend's double life and urged Nicole to take a New York job instead of letting dependent relatives guilt her into staying.
What happened, in order
Chargers' trap-game collapse
Mikey, Eddie, and the crew argue that the Chargers looked unprepared and were outworked in a 17-10 loss to Miami despite having far more talent on paper.
Mikey's lasagna panic
Mikey describes becoming intensely anxious while making his first lasagna, hunting for San Marzano tomatoes and improvising after Rebecca accidentally threw out an ingredient.
Rob gives up the playoff ticket
Boston Rob explains that he stayed home with his fiancée rather than use the lone Red Sox playoff ticket his friend had secured after Rob had explicitly promised not to leave her behind again.
The superstitious delivery guy
Caller Jordan says he paced outside a customer's house and covered his ears during a Chargers goal-line play, leaving the customer to wonder why her delivery driver was acting distressed.
Merriman diagnoses the defense
Sean Merriman says the Chargers miss his pass rush, explains how he studies games like film, and argues that the team's deeper failure against Miami was allowing itself to be out-physicaled.
Ashley's breakup goes on air
The show reveals that Ashley and her boyfriend unexpectedly split on Friday, then tries to preserve her planned cook-off by turning the competition into a morale-boosting distraction.
Kimbo falls in 14 seconds
Eddie recounts how replacement fighter Seth Petruzzelli knocked out Kimbo Slice in 14 seconds after Ken Shamrock withdrew, threatening EliteXC's investment in its biggest star.
Dumb Chick Challenge meltdown
Ashley, Sky, and Boston Rob stumble through trivia about Michelangelo, Lee Harvey Oswald, the Hippocratic Oath, and other subjects before Rob finally wins.
Lightning at the gas pump
The crew watches security footage of a New York man being struck by lightning while pumping gas and marvels that he returned to the same station the next day to finish filling his car.
Grief after a double life
Caller Scott says his girlfriend died of a heart attack and only afterward did he learn she was still married, prompting Mikey to argue that Scott can grieve both her death and the relationship's deception without ever g
Nicole's New York choice
Mikey urges 24-year-old Nicole to take a five-year job opportunity in New York, arguing that relatives who rely on her cooking, cleaning, driving, and money are disguising their own dependence as her selfishness.
AO flies off the freeway
P1 AO describes hydroplaning off the freeway and under a fence, then says a rushed tow damaged his nearly unscathed car because he was desperate to get home for the Kimbo fight.

Oh, at 6-0-4. O.J. Simpson was found guilty on Friday on a dozen charges in his robbery and kidnapping trial he could get life in prison. The Chargers had no comeback mojo this time. They lost to Miami 17-10 yesterday. Phillip Rivers says the Dolphins wanted it more. It appeared they wanted it a little more, and I don't think that's the case, but that was the appearance. The way they got after it, and you see them at the end, I mean, it's like they won a huge playoff game. You know, they had a week off. And they all should be that important. And I think they are. Well, if they are, wouldn't it have been that important? I mean, that would be the logic behind that, right? I mean, if they were all that important. I don't know. I guess it's up for the individual to decide. What did you think of that, Eddie? Terrible. Absolutely terrible. It was a classic trap game.
travel cross-country, you know, maybe looking ahead to playing the Patriots next week, probably underestimating the Miami Dolphins, just terrible effort overall. I mean, again, it feels like the Chargers weren't prepared to play. You know, I mean, how many times can you fall behind in the first half and have to come back and win the game? And, you know, going for it on fourth down and getting stopped. by the goal line, I mean, completely gave all the momentum to Miami, and it was just a curious decision and call by the Chargers. The thing that worries you about it is the, is, you know, and Eddie has talked about this before, is there's certain teams you've got to beat. Yeah. And I actually learned that from you, Eddie, and there's certain teams that you've got to beat, and that's an example of one of those, oh, dude, Miami? Come on. Absolutely. I mean, with Denver winning yesterday, I mean, you're putting yourself in a pretty big hole in the West. So, you know, I mean, this is the exact same record they had last year, you know, and then they were able to turn it around and play much better. But, you know, they got to figure it out pretty soon, man. I mean, it is looking not very good.
Hey, 5701053 is our number. Our text is 35253. And then in both, you know, last season and this season, you look at both of them, you go, man, this guy, look at the talent on this team. Absolutely. On paper, it just looks like such a better football team. Yeah. I mean, defensively, not sure what's going on. Just still poor mechanics, poor tackling, poor game plans. I mean, you know, they had all the film. of this wildcat offense that the Dolphins were running and they couldn't stop it. And so that's just, you know, again, Ted Cottrell, I'm like, I'm kind of surprised that he's not called out more. Yeah. He doesn't, you know, still has a job. Yeah. But, you know, defense is not playing up to their capabilities. What about Norv? Norv? You know, my biggest criticism with Norv is it just doesn't seem. like the team comes out ready to play. They come out flat every single week. It's like, you know, sometimes in boxing, how boxers sometimes need to be punched in the face a few times before they go, oh, okay, I'm in a fight. Well, it's like with the Chargers, it's like they have to be down by, you know, 15 points, 16 points before they go, oh, yeah, we got to, like, play. Let's score some points here. Well, you know, since they were playing in Miami yesterday and they were showing Bill Parcells up in the booth and everything, I just, you know,
I wondered and just pondered to myself, I wonder what the Chargers would be like if Bill Parcells were the head coach. With the same talent that we have now, would it make a difference? They'd be ready to play, I tell you that. Yeah, you know, they always are. There's no messing around with Bill Parcells. That guy's for real, right? Yeah, for sure. So, I don't know, man. You know, with LT, there's something clearly wrong with the guy. You know, shut him down. Shut him down for a while. You know, the toe is not getting better. He's not, I mean, he's not LT right now. And it's not age. It's not, he's lost his step. He's injured. And he's trying to play through it. And it's not working. That has got to hurt so bad. Yeah. It's so tiny, your little toe. No. Your, what are they, your big toe. It's so little. Is that the one? Is it his big toe? Yeah. It's so little, but it hurts, huh? Well, I'm sure they shoot it up for the game. Yeah. And then afterwards, probably got to kill him. Really? Ouch. So they numb it. Yeah. Numb, numb, numb, numb. Not every time. And then afterwards, it probably feels like a train ran over it. Ouch. It's not good. 570-1053. Hi. Call us. No, Mike. Guess who we're going to see in person tomorrow? Uh-oh. Who? Shawnee, oh boy. A little fever. That's right.
He didn't get my message. Oh, my gosh. Look at that head. I just saw him for the first time. Yeah. Yeah, it's shocking. Rub it. Rub it. It is shocking. It's good luck. Oh, Shawnee. What are you guys talking about? If you rub it. Sean cut his hair with a... Cut? Yeah, he shaved his head. Yeah, with a razor blade. Yeah, I... No, there's a little bit of peach fuzz. He used a machete. Right? That's right. He used a machete. And no... Shaving cream. Just did it dry. He's a man. He's a man. Look at that. Guy goes with a machete. Doesn't even need any shaving cream. It's huge. Rack him. I forgot to mention in my yesterday email that I use dog trimmers to cut my hair. That's not true. You don't have a dog. I know. My mother bought me a pair of animal clippers. We have cats. I'm not going to cut a cat with trimmers. And the ones that I normally use, they're so dull that I thought, well, let me just try these. So I went and I opened up the package. I got the whole thing out. I put the stuff on it, you know, the oil or whatever. Got it all ready. And, dude. Look at him. He looks like a best cut of my life. Look at that. Sean is best in show. That is fantastic.
Really deserve it. At the Westminster Dog Show. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. So he will, oh, how dare you give us that salute, mister. He will be here tomorrow in the studio with us. My name is Mikey. And I am very, very stressed out when I cook. What? I thought you loved cooking. I can relate to that. I do. But while I'm in it. I'm so stressed out. I'm so stressed out. And I recognize that it is inappropriate. It's not appropriate. Like, I think that for everything, there is a reasonable expectation of appropriateness. I agree. You know, for instance, if you go to the grocery store and the clerk gives you back the wrong change, the appropriate response is to go, oh.
Hey, I think I'm missing a quarter here. You know, the appropriate response is not to freak out and start screaming at the top of your lungs. Scream busy bee. Start screaming busy. Where's my busy bee? And, you know, conversely, when I cook, I have an inappropriate level of anxiety. I'm basically screaming at the top of my lungs at the clerk. Inside. Inside. What's the anxiety? What's going on in there? It has to be perfect. I thought of you yesterday, Sky, because I was Mr. Sky yesterday and I was in the grocery store. So I decided yesterday, because on Sunday I cook for my family. They come over and I cook. And Rebecca asked me yesterday morning, what are you going to make? I said, I don't know. I didn't have a clue. And so I went on foodnet.com, which.
It's unreliable. I'm going to tell you right now, it's totally and completely unreliable. I've done it for years. It's completely unreliable. And I can explain that to you, but I'm browsing, I'm browsing. I go, you know what I've never made in my life? Lasagna. I've never made it. I've never made lasagna. I'm going to make lasagna. I read the ingredient list. It's about four pages long. I said, hey, you know what? You got to dive in that pool. If you're going to swim, you got to get in that water. All right. So I went to the grocery store yesterday, Sky, and I was like your husband. You know how your husband can be in an aisle for 20 minutes? Oh, it's so annoying. And he has to, like, he's going through all the variations of flour. Yes, yes, yes. So, dude, Eddie, you've watched Food Net enough to know that there is a type of tomato called San Marzano tomatoes that come from Italy. They almost look like Roma tomatoes. Okay. And I've seen them enough on TV. There's a couple of guys that really dig them. One of them is Tyler Florence. He really digs San Marzano. And he always says on his show, if you're going to make this, get San Marzano. You know, just go to the grocery store. And I'm looking and I don't find them. And I'm going. It's maddening to me. And the same product is available. It's just not from Italy. And it's not called San Marzano. But no way. I'm not going to do this. And the anxiety is building. And so I look around and I look around. And finally, I find these tomatoes. Okay.
I go home and I'm making it and I realize that, and this is the problem with FoodNet, it's as if they make these recipes and nobody tries them. Like nobody makes them first before it's posted online. Because there was enough ingredients, and I'm trusting it, there's enough ingredients to feed an army. But then in some areas, the ingredients are right on and in proportion. And so I'm making it, and I had put something aside that I needed, and I go back to get that, and I said, where is it? And Rebecca says, oh, I'm sorry, I threw it out. Because she cleans behind me. She cleans behind me. Your sous chef? She's my sous chef. She cleans behind me. So on the fly, you know, okay, well, I needed carrots, but I'm sure that prosciutto will be just fine in place. But anyway, it came out great.
But I was a mess. Just a mess. Can't talk to me. Nobody could have a normal conversation with me. You're busy. You're in the middle of something. I'm busy. Eddie is our producer. He's our sports guy. And he knows more about sports than anybody I know. 35 years of age. And he is pumping his fist right now. He's excited. He wants to fist bump with Rob. They're trying to make it, but they keep just punching the air. That's weird. Eddie, I saw the press conference with Al Davis finally. Oh, the full thing? Oh, my goodness. I didn't see the full thing. I didn't see the full thing. I just saw clips because I hadn't actually seen what you were describing. Oh, man. The letter behind him and all that stuff. That's so great. Did you see Fox's opening? No, you were probably working. But did you see any of Fox's pregame show with Howie? No, I was on the air. You would have been so irritated with Howie. Did he back him up? Of course. Oh, come on. Eddie. I'm like, I'm sitting there by myself in the living room and I say out loud, Howie. That's brutal. Because Howie's a former Raider. Yeah. And I'm like, come on, dude. How can you kick him seriously after that? I know it. That's awesome. And the other guys on the panel, you know, are like, oh, wow. Brainwashed. Mm-hmm.
Skye is our news girl. Hi, Skye. She's got curly hair. She's 30. She'll be 31 pretty soon. Oh, yeah. Wow. I'm old. That's right. She's got birthday coming up the 22nd. She'll be 31 years of age. And in something that is very odd, she will count down those days, man. She'll let you know halfway through the year. We've got lots of stuff going on. Yeah. And what do you do with that information? You just got to take it and you got to file it away, I guess. You got to file it away. Yep. Shawnee, oh boy, he really has an interesting haircut. I'll tell you that much right now. It's just short. That's all. He does it with sheep shears, he told us. It's kind of cool. I didn't say that. I didn't say that. And he makes wool out of what's left. Not really. Not really. It's a sweater. Yep. Smart. Nope. I would not let that happen. He does sound effects for us, but he lives in the Bay Area, and he's flying in today, and we'll see him later on. Yeah. Tomorrow morning, he'll be live in the studio with us, and then Wednesday's the 28-hour show. Oh, no. I'm really worried about the arrangement in there. We got it all figured out, Sean. Don't worry. I know, but the proximity thing is what's bothering me. It'll be perfect. It'll be the perfect proximity. There's enough space for everyone. That worries me even more. That's right. 570-1053 is our phone number.
Tidy, righty, lefty, loosey. That's right. Don't start saying that crap to me. Tidy, whitey. Wait. You know it. Okay. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's a blonde girl. Oh, my. And she has perfectly dispersed bangs. They're beauteous. Thank you. I like her bangs. She has what she calls a puggle. And the puggle's name is Sammy. Sammy is in some desperate need of some orthodontry. Is that a good way to say it? She's got like a couple of snaggles. She needs some cosmetic work to be done. I say they just break it all and start over. If we're being honest. No, there's Sammy. Hi. Oh. I wish that show The Swan was still on. She could use a tummy tuck. I'm not going to lie. She's like a baby seal. By tummy, you mean face? Boston Rob, he is our Boston Red Sox fan. Every show needs one. He went to the Boston Red Sox game on Friday night. You didn't go?
What? What are you talking about? I can't. I can't. I watched the game. I was looking for you. I am too. I can't. Why didn't you go? Scott, you sound just like me on Friday. There was a miscommunication with my buddy. He had, I made it abundantly clear to him a couple weeks ago. I said, I'm not going to go up to the ALDS this year unless I can take my fiance. Right. I went last year without her, and there was a group of us that went. She was the only one that didn't get a ticket. So she was, you know, really bummed out. I felt bad for going without her. So we made, you know, enough money to put about $100 away for tickets. Me and her. We were going to buy tickets. And my buddy said, hey, I already got us tickets. Not specifying who, but a week before I told him I'm not going to go without my fiance. So in my head, I'm going, he... He took care of it. He got us tickets. Friday afternoon, I take my brothers to the air show and I keep getting text messages, text messages. Everyone needs to talk to me all of a sudden. I'm like, what? You know, I'm on time. I'm taking my brothers to the air show. I'm leaving from here and we're going to Anaheim. Text from who? Richie, my fiance. Who's Richie? Her cousin. The guy with the tickets? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
So they're blowing me up and I can't understand why they desperately, like two, three in a row coming at me. So finally I call them and it's like I can hardly hear this plane's going overhead. And I'm like, what are you guys talking about? We don't have enough tickets. And he tells me, he's like, oh, I thought you understood that it was just you and me. And I was like, well, dude, I thought you understood I wasn't going without my fiance. I did that last year. And I can't leave her hanging. You know what I mean? It's too cool. Plus, me and her had put aside money. Especially put aside money because it's once a year you get to go to the playoffs. We wanted to do something nice. This is tough. The kicker is she really wanted to go to the Pats game. That is this coming Sunday. You know where my heart lies, dude. If the playoffs are in Southern California, I want to try to get there. She said, you know what? We'll take the money that we were putting for the Pats tickets. We'll put it towards Angels tickets, you know, Angels Red Sox. Right. They're only going to be here, you know, probably last Friday. That's it. Sure. So we don't buy tickets. And I end up, you know, obviously using that money for bills and whatever. She has to use that money for her needs because my buddy said he got us tickets. Right. Friday, I find out that he has one ticket. So he's basically, you can come with me.
And I just tell him, I go, I can't do that, dude. Plus, there was a lot of other people going too, right? Yeah. Because on Friday, Friday morning, you said there was going to be. His dad, his grandfather. So, I mean, and it was awesome of them to invite me and to solely want me. But for me to turn around and tell my fiance, hey, you know, only one ticket. I'll call you from the game. I can't do that. So, I didn't go. Terrible. That's terrible. That sucks. That's terrible. At least it wasn't like a great game or nothing, right? Because, oh, wait. Yeah, that's right. Turns out it was a good game. Yeah, one of the best I've seen. All of us were watching thinking Rob was sitting there. I watched some of the game because I wanted to, you know, and I thought about it. I'm like, I don't want to go to sleep. I'm like, I got to see a second of this just because I know you're there. Yeah. It blows. I felt like a little kid. Yeah, on Friday when I got that news. Oh, man. You know, in old me, I would have been like, hey, baby, you know, I'm sorry, but this is the Red Sox. Right. I can't do it. You know what I mean? Right on. So I stayed with her. Awesome. We watched the game from my house. We had a great time, nonetheless. You know what I mean? Yeah. But it was like when I got that news that that was the reality, it was like that little kid, like, it was in my grasp.
I had saved up, and I'm like, is it still too late? No, because tickets would be like, you know, 500 bucks to get in now. So, I mean, what are you going to do, you know? Oh, that's brutal. Sometimes it falls your way, sometimes it doesn't. Whatever. That's just too bad, because I know you were looking forward to it. Well, now I'm just hoping for a Dodgers Red Sox World Series and all that. You know, I won't pay rent for a month, but I'll go to the World Series. I hope that happens. Honestly, I really do. I hope that happens, because it would be great for you guys to be able to see it. It was good, though, you know, because I'd rather watch a game with her, too. She was a huge Pats fan, and she was a little Red Sox fan, and now I've got her wrapped up into this whole Red Sox nation weird superstition. She still calls me a crazy person. Last night, I like... I get certain things that, like, if I'm outside and something good happens, I got to stay outside. If I'm doing something, like, I do this thing with my hat now where I'll watch the TV, but I have to block all the lights, and I watch it just like this. He's holding. Wait, wait. Let me describe what Rob just did. He took his baseball cap, and he turned it backwards, and I thought he was going to put it on his head. But no. He holds it over his forehead.
And he blocks out light. Yeah, I block out the light. It's like if you were in a stadium and you had to cover your eyes, you know, with your hand. Like a visor type. Yeah, like a visor type. But I just hold the hat over there and I watch the game. And I get to be real quiet and hold my hands. You realize if you just wore the cap normally, it would do the same thing with the bill. Yeah, but the socks don't play the same. All right. Oh, boy. My fiance is calling me a crazy person. Well, it's got to be a little tiring, right? It's got to be a little tiring. It's going to be enjoyable. Yeah. Exhausting doing it all. Okay. Well, and then that's our sixth member on the Mikey Show. And then the seventh member of the Mikey Show is the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr. Esquire, MD, DDS, president, and CEO, as seen on TV. And he is 23 years of age, so he's the youngest guy on the show. And he sits in his own little booth. And he is a phone screener. Cute. And you can call us right now, 570-1053. This is P1 Gobi. Yeah. Hey, what's up, Mikey? What's up, Gobi? No, not much. Hey, I was wondering if you guys could give me an insight on this dream I had involving Sky. Okay. Yeah. So, Sky lives in this...
I don't know, obviously a mansion. Yes. Somewhere in the woods or something? No, no, no. Rancho Santa Escondido. He's telling his dreams. That's where it's located. Oh, okay. He's telling what the dream was. Yes. Oh, gotcha. It kind of looks like the woods because she built giant forest trees all around it. It's all just a dream. Yes. Kind of like a barricade. But in the dream show, cut the trees down to make paper every once in a while. Oh, yeah. Paper money. Yeah, just to burn them for fun. Okay, we're not going to interrupt. I've got to hear this. Tell me the story. Tell us the dream. Okay, so she's living in this, you know, fortress in the woods with, like, a wall of snow around it. And somehow I deliver this, like, giant wooden, I mean, the thing's really nice. as far as I can remember in the dream. It's like this giant wooden moose to her driveway or something, and I'm getting this huge distinct map. It's like life-size, pretty much. And I got to deliver this moose to her driveway, and I can see her. She's watching me, kind of concerned that I might damage the moose. I don't know. And she's wearing, like, some black. And all I could see was her hands, but she was wearing, like, these black nail polish.
And that was it. Okay. So. What does this mean? I think we know what the black represents. Hello. Okay. Hello. All right. Yes, I like black men. Yes. No. I find them attractive. What's the problem? My favorite color. Sorry. Yeah. When people say, what's your favorite color? I say Nubian. What do you want? Okay. No one says that. I say the nation of Nigeria. That's my favorite. That's my favorite color. My favorite color? Wesley Snipes. Yes. How about you? What does a moose mean? What does a giant wooden moose mean? It's a good one. I don't know. Moose McGillicuddy is a great place to meet black men on a Friday night. I heard that moose sometimes tastes like pork. That's true. You've never heard that. We all know how she feels about it. If you're honey roasted. I'm sure. I like ham. You put the right glaze on any kind of meat. Anything. Well, there you go. I think we figured it out.
I could have been in that Donna party. Just give me a second. Hey, that's so gross. You honey glazed something. It ain't that bad. You glaze a nice cheek and I'll... Okay. I don't want to know what cheek you got. Give me a bottle of honey and I'm set. That's right. Okay. P1 Charity's on the line. Hi. Hi, how are you? Good. How are you doing? Doing well, thank you. Sweet. I was calling to talk to Boston Rob. I'm a Red Sox fan and I was at the game on Friday. I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't make it. Fun deal. How was it? It was good. Obviously, they won, so that was great. But being harassed by Angels fans, not so fun. Yeah, see, Rob, it's good news. Yeah, but I love going up there because they pull out that stupid rally monkey and they play jump around, which I'm like, dude, isn't that like a Boston anthem? Like, you're a bunch of clowns. And they were, like, hitting us in the head with them on the way to, like, the bathroom. With what? The blow-up clapper thing? Oh, my God. Yeah, the clappers where they hand them out. I was like, really? You need that to make noise in the stadium? Seriously. Let them hand out white towels or whatever they want to hand out and let them do their little hurrah thing. But when it's all said and done. Hurrah. Eddie, where are we in the series? Well, unfortunately, the Red Sox lost last night. Oh, no. Brutal game. I'm sorry? Brutal game.
Brutal game. It's a brutal game. That's his expert analysis. Yes. And so it is now going to a game four. Red Sox still up two games to one. Well, there you go. And there's five, right? Yes. John Lesta and Lackey thrown tonight for the Angels. So if the Angels win, we go to a game five. But if the Red Sox win, it's over. Correct. And they advance to the ALCS? Correct. There it is. P150, I think, is a little bit confused. But we'll try to. Figure it out. P150. Hold on, guys. I've got a question for Eddie. Go ahead. What's going on with LeDainian? Ever since last year's championship game with the New England Patriots, you know, that injury, whatever it was, it seems like he's been playing without a heart. What do you think, Matt? It just doesn't seem like he's playing the same. Well, I mean, I kind of said it earlier. I mean, he's hurt. He has an injury. So I don't know that. heart really comes into play. When you physically can't do the things that you're used to, it's not easy to compete. Toe injury? Yeah, toe injury, you can ask any athlete, is one of the worst injuries you can have because you can't cut, you can't block, you can't plant, you can't do anything. Antonio Gates, same thing, right? He had a toe injury and it just messed him up. He had to have surgery for the toe.
You know, Ladanian's playing on it hurt. Yeah. You know, no surgery, nothing like that. So it's, you know, the only thing that's going to make it better is rest. Yeah. So, you know, unless he keeps playing, you know, he's going to continue to struggle probably. And it really has nothing to do with heart. I mean, that guy has the biggest heart of anybody I've ever seen on the football field. Hey, P150, those toe injuries, man, they jack you up. They are gnarly, man. They really. The fact that he's able to go out there and play on it, Eddie was saying, you know, they shoot that thing up. That actually shows a lot of heart. All right, guys. Hey, I'm on the job. I got to go to a call. All right, brother. He's probably a cop because he's P150. I wish he wouldn't have laughed at me. He thought you were funny. I wasn't trying to be funny. Oh, no? Oh, whoops. P1 Jordan. Hey, Mikey. You're as superstitious as Rob? Just about, I believe. How is it even possible? How is it even possible? I feel bad for you, dude. It's crippling. Need to go to rehab. Yeah. Seriously. Go to superstition rehab. Oh, I'd love to. Break myself with these chains. That's right. I can't live with myself. What do you do, Jordan? Just like, well, when I'm watching the Chargers, I feel like if I'm doing the right thing or anything, they'll win. So, like, as I'm listening to the radio, I'm going to deliver shit if I'm working for a roundtable.
And as I'm listening to them, when they have the ball on the one-yard line, I feel like I've got to do something because I can't listen to it. If I do, then I'm not going to get the touchdown. What did you do yesterday? Yeah, what did you do? I get out of my truck. I'm actually near the house I'm supposed to deliver to. I'm walking around, pacing around, just like, you know, holding my ears because I have the radio still on. I don't want to hear it. So I walk, like, maybe five yards away from my truck. And all of a sudden, this lady comes outside. I think I believe she was. person I was supposed to deliver to. She walks out. She looks through my truck. She's like, are you my delivery boy? I'm like, uh, and it's already awkward. I'm like, uh, yeah, yeah, I am. Sorry about that. I'm still going through a rough time right now. She's like, okay. That's fantastic. What do you say? I'm trying to find the house. I didn't even realize I was near the house when I did that. And I was like, oh, crap. And I was like, this looks bad. So I'm not going to even get a good tip right now. Wow. And you're going through a rough time. Just a terrible, terrible time. You look out your window and you see your pizza delivery guy pacing in front of your house. I don't want that pizza. I don't either. And then he says to you, I'm sorry, I'm going through a rough time. You keep the pizza. You eat it. You know what I mean? It's the best.
570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. Let's get this Monday thing rolling. You know why? Because we've got two days until the 28-hour show. We're on the air for 28 straight hours. Eddie, what keeps flickering over here? Do you see something flickering over here? Is it your... Monitor? I don't know, but there is this white flicker that's going on to the right of me, and it's making me crazy. We're going to do Ask Mikey today, so if you have any advice, I'll give you my advice. I didn't see it, neither. You guys are making me feel I'm insane. I promise. It's working. Watch. Stand up and watch right over here. Watch right over here in this area. You'll see it happening. Dane Cook in the stand-up spotlight. When we come back, the O.J. Simpson verdict. 053. I wanted to do when I was a little kid. All I wanted to know was karate. Just... I used to run around my house. I wanted it, you know. If anything got in my way, like the dog, you're a bad dog.
So let me tell you, no, no, this is, my dad tried to trick me, because I'd beg, I'd be like, dad, please, can, you know, can I take karate? Want to be like my hero, Mr. Furley? No, because I'm not, but he did the cheap honky, he tried to trick me. He tried to trick me, because my sisters, you know, I had five, I wore a tampon. They were taking, this is true, they were taking aerobics. So he tried to trick me, he sent me to aerobics with them, and he tried to trick me and tell me it was karate. Mikey show. Oh yes. I'll go through a roll of toilet paper in a day. The Mikey Show's on. That's true.
Rock 105.3. Number one rock song in the country is still the offspring, and you're going to go far, kid. Welcome back. It is 643. Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance in New York this weekend since giving birth to the Twins. Some NFL headlines from yesterday. The Tennessee Titans beat Baltimore to improve to 5-0 on the season. And, oh, man, the Colts score 21 points in the final four minutes. To come back and beat Houston. It was gnarly. It was gnarly. The Houston Texans quarterback, Sage Rosenfels, just, I mean, talk about a debacle. Bad decision making. Holy cow. Bad decision making. He had three turnovers in that span to lead to those points. Single-handedly cost them the game. Well, dude, I watched at one point. That was the ones that we saw, but there was one.
That was an almost where he is and Dan Dierdorf is freaking out that he did this. Didn't turn out bad, but the other ones did. He's at the one yard line. He decides he's going to quarterback sneak it. Oh, and he reached the ball over. Yeah, and he's on top of the pile and he's got the football in both hands and he's just basically putting it there on a silver platter for the defense. Somebody knock it out. And nobody grabbed it, but I mean, it was one of those situations where you're like, oh boy, you got out of that one, didn't you? And then a little bit later. Didn't get out of them. Well, Sage is very sad. Yes. And he talks about losing to the Colts. Cut 45. Mistakes kill you in the NFL. And I made mistakes today. Most of our team, all of our team played great football today. Played winning football. And I made those mistakes that cost the football games. And there's really no reason we should have lost that game. Wow. Wow. It's your fault. It's pretty rough when you are the single-handed, you know what I mean? 100% his fault. It's a team game, but that one thing, uh-uh, that one thing. Big news today. We did jury an above-entitled case. Find the defendant, Ornthal James Simpson, as follows. Count one, conspiracy to commit a crime. Guilty. Count two, conspiracy to commit kidnapping. Guilty. Count three, conspiracy to commit robbery. Guilty. Count...
Four, a burglar while in possession of a deadly weapon. Guilty, a burglar while in possession of a deadly weapon. Count five, first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. Bruce Furlman, guilty, a first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. Skye said it earlier. Skye, how long is he facing? Minimum five years. Maximum, life in prison. Wow. That is gigantic. That's crazy. Yeah, so the verdict came down on Friday, which was actually 13 years to the day from the same day that Simpson was acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. What a trip, right? Is that? That's weird. What a trip, right? 13 years to the day. Oh, wow. Come on. Yeah, so of course his lawyers say that they will appeal, but as of now, sentencing is scheduled for December the 5th. Hey, listen, everybody has their own take on it.
Everybody's going to have their own take on it. But I can't help think that God is involved in that kind of thing. The same exact day. I don't know. Because everybody's talking about it. You know what I mean? Okay. Let me give you a question. And you call me at 570-1053. And the first person that is able to give me the answer. will be the person that wins the prize. What do we have today, Eddie? What kind of stuff do we have to give away today? We have a certificate to watch UFC 90 on pay-per-view on Saturday, October 25th. Very nice. If you can call me right now and tell me what was the opening skit on Saturday Night Live? What was the opening skit on Saturday Night Live? Call me at 570-1053. And the first person that can tell me that wins that prize. It was pretty funny. I'll tell you that. It's pretty funny. And you must be specific. You can't just say in a very broad and general way. You've got to be specific. What was the skit that they did to open it up? It's interesting to me how in television it's a skit. On radio it's a bit. I don't know why.
It's funny to me sometimes when people will say, hey, that skit you guys did. Right. You know what I mean? Like, radio has its own goofy language. So, yeah, OJ Simpson is going to be sentenced now, but the verdict came down and said guilty on 12 charges. They still ain't getting it right. Oh, man. But you're why, people. That's right. That's why. All right, OJ. Man, I hope this country club I go to has a minibar. And a golf course. That's right. What am I supposed to do? My game is going to be ruined. I can't have my game sullied by a prisoner. Who's going to be looking for the real killer while I'm in jail? That's right. The case is going to go cold, OJ. Yeah, I don't want the real killer to get away. Call that blonde girl.
On CBS. Yeah. Cold case. Cold case. Yeah, call the blonde chick on cold case. Well, I think she's an actress, OJ. She could help. That's right. And get her email. Wait. Wait, OJ. Well, since you're going to get a hold of her. Right. Since I'm axing. I like to be incommunicato. Yeah. Communicata. I was too nervous. Communicata. Yeah, communicalacious. Yeah. Communicato. Okay. Okay. See what you're doing there. P1, Sean, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Okay. What was the opening skit on Saturday Night Live? Sarah Palin skit. Well, like I said, you got to be a little bit more specific. Oh, OK. All right. Thank you. Thank you. I mean, hey, listen, that's a good guess, because, you know, if you're just using your logic, you say, well, come on, they had to be doing something with Sarah Palin. But you got to be a little bit more specific than that. Sky, did you did you catch it? Did you see the you did? Did you think it was funny? Yeah, it's tough because that first.
One she did, the first, you know, was so good the first time. Yeah. Because it was so dead on that, to me, nothing compares to the first time she did it. Right. But still, there were some nice little gems in this one. I don't know about you. I'm looking at how long it was. And I've always been of the school of comedy that, you know, kind of brevity will be a little better. This thing says it's 11 minutes long. Yeah. But who knows? Wow. Who knows? Maybe it was really good. I thought it was really good. P1, Mean Alar Jean. Are you there? But I'm here. Is it Mean Alar Jean? No, dude. You mess this up every time. Mean Jean, brother. Mean Jean. It's Mean Jean. That's right. What's going on? What's going on, Mean Jean? What was the very first skit on Saturday Night Live? I think it wasn't about Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. That was last week. That was last week, but P1RJ has the answer. What was it? It's the vice presidential debate. That is correct. There it is. You are a winner. Talk on it. Hang on the line, all right? All right.
I finally watched the real debates, by the way, which Skye says were real highly rated. Right, Skye? Oh, my gosh. Yeah. It was like gnarly what the ratings came out to be on that sucker. Yeah. They say that this was the highest watch debate, vice presidential debate of all time. Wow. 70 million people tuned in to watch the VP debate. Keep in mind, 53 million tuned in to watch the presidential debate. Really? 70 million people. Everybody loves Palin. I finally watched it, and I was just that wink she gives. Isn't it good? It's good. Oh, it's so stupid. It sucks me right in. It's stupid. It's stupid. She's an old guy. Old guy. You can say it's stupid because it makes you like her for some weird reason. You're just like, I don't want to like you. Right? As a Democrat. Doggone it.
No. No, no, it doesn't. No way. No, like if she was the head of the PTA, yes, your argument works. She's so likable, Skye. Yeah. She's so likable. But it angers me because I feel like, and this is kind of a weird statement, but I feel in a way it turns our political process into a mockery. Come on. Which it already is, so I don't know. I mean, so I guess it just takes us another step further. Well, here is a little bit of the skit that they did. Yeah. This is a... Sarah Palin. Yeah, it's obviously not the Sarah Palin. Who plays her? Tina Fey. Tina Fey, right? Yep. She's just back on the show now. I think they got her back just to do Sarah Palin, right? Well, she's not back on the show. She'll just do the opening skit as Sarah Palin, and then you don't see her for the rest of the show. So here she is. Governor Palin, how will your administration deal with the current financial crisis? Dean Latifah is the moderator, by the way. Come on. No way. to meet Joe Biden. And may I say, up close, your hair plugs don't look nearly as bad as everyone says. You know, John McCain and I, we're a couple of mavericks. And gosh darn it, we're going to take that maverick energy right to Washington and we're going to use it to fix this financial crisis and everything else that's plagued in this great country of ours. How will you solve the financial crisis being a maverick?
you know, we're going to take every aspect of the crisis and look at it, and then we're going to ask ourselves, what would a maverick do in this situation? Then, you know, we'll do that. That's awesome. Yeah, it was awesome. Of course, the end of the debate, Sarah Palin, a.k.a. Tina Fey, asked when the talent portion would be and pulled out her flute. Oh, that's funny. That's what she did in her pageant days. Wow. Lights out. Sean Merriman is our Charger contributor, and he will be on the air with us coming up here in just a second. The presidential race is getting ugly with Sarah Palin saying that Barack hangs with terrorists and Obama is going after McCain for his involvement in shady deals years ago. The Angels stay alive. They beat Boston 5-4 in 12 innings for us at Game 4 tonight. Our manager, Mike Socha, talks about the win. That game was swinging on a heartbeat for most of the night.
And fortunately, we got it done at the end. So we executed well. Knopf had a couple big hits for us. He caught a great game. And, you know, it came away with a win. So I feel good we played better. I think if we keep playing well, you know, we're going to be fine. Hmm. Well, I know it's exciting, and I know Boston Rob's all jacked up. Oh, yeah. And if you're tuning in late, you didn't get to go to that game on Friday, which bummed him out. Bum me out. Oh, dude, that's an understatement. Come on, man. And I'm telling you, I really do hope that the Dodgers end up playing them because it'd be nice for you to get a chance to go to the game. You know what I mean? Yeah, you're worth it. Yeah, dude, you're worth it. Thank you. You deserve it. That'd be Maverick if I could go. Total Maverick. Eddie, some text messages that we're getting. Eddie, what do you think about Stephen Cooper flexing and taunting after a meaningless play when the Dolphins had the game wrapped up? That's P1 Miami. Yeah. I saw that, too. It was very confusing why if you're losing, you would want to try and taunt the bench of the opposing team. Right. Made no sense. Maybe he was just excited that he was back. I don't know. Another text message at 35253. Eddie, what do you think is up with Cromartie getting so many penalties? That's P1 Blue. You know, it's clear what the problem is.
With the type of defense that the Chargers run, it's all based on pressure on the quarterback, and there's a certain player that's not in the lineup right now that we are very familiar with, and he puts a lot of pressure on the quarterback and gets a lot of sacks, and that helps out the cornerbacks quite a bit. And right now, the corners are out there on an island, and they're having to cover for a lot longer than they're used to. Speaking of, Eddie, all we keep hearing... is that we won't be able to re-sign lights. Hasn't this year proven that we can't afford not to? That's P1 Super. Yeah, I think you just answered your own question, for sure. Great lead-in. Sean Merriman. Hey, what's going on? How are you, Sean? Doing pretty good. How about yourself? I'm doing good, man. Did you hear the text messages that we just got? Yeah, yeah, I was listening. Those are pretty interesting, man. And listen, do you think that there will be any issue with getting re-signed? I really don't know. I was asked several times, and even by my family and friends, and I just told them, I don't know. That's something as a player you can't control, and you don't know what's going to happen. You can just only hope that the best whatever happens works out. Yeah. I can't help but agree with what Eddie was saying about the kind of defense that you guys run. With that kind of defense, with you in the game, there's a lot of pressure being put on the quarterback. And with you gone,
it creates that kind of a problem. As you're watching the game at home, are you sitting there in your head kind of thinking, oh, man, I wish I could have been a part of that one? Definitely, man, definitely. Especially when you see your team having a tough time on either side of the ball and you know personally what you can do on the field. And I sit back and say that I go out and I single-handedly win that game because I don't think one person can just completely win the game. But in certain situations, I mean, You're looking for a guy to make that big play to turn the ball over, to get a sack fumble, to tip the ball in the line of scrimmage, or hit a running back and make him fumble like I have in the past. And that's how some games are won. Sean, when you're watching the game at home, you're watching the game on TV, how do you watch a football game? Do you focus on a particular area of the screen, or how do you do it? You know, you ever seen like the Terminator when they're trying to decide if they're going to like terminate somebody and this machine comes on and they look at them and they visualize them as them being maybe somebody who's not threatening or anything like that? I mean, I look at it a whole different way. I go into the game looking at breaking down film as a player and not a fan. I don't listen really too much to what the commentators say. I don't look at...
too much what they're trying to focus on. Not even coop flexing. That's not even important. I'm looking at the guys who are in the box, in the front seven, the offensive line, the defensive line, and that's it. Yeah, as a Cyberdyne T2 unit, that's what you're supposed to do. I swear, I will not kill anyone. You're supposed to watch the game in a different way like a machine. You look at the offensive players and you try to make up your mind which one of these will I be able to eliminate or at least recreate. Baby. That's right. Oh, that was dead on. That was dead on. What was that? That was perfect. I don't know. It was either Ashley or Sean sneezed. Oh. It was one of the ten. I sneezed. Yeah, I guess you can watch a game and you watch it a different way. You just watch a particular area and see how that play. It must be kind of exhausting for you to watch a game, right, Sean? It is.
Normally when I break down film, there's no commentator. It's a widescreen, and I see everything that's going on. So, you know, obviously the camera, when you're playing a game, like to see certain things, like to see guys pushing and shoving. I don't look at any of that stuff. Everything is silent on the film that I watch. I look at everybody. Hey, when you guys are watching film back at the Charger headquarters, I think a lot of people would be interested. How that actually works, do you guys watch film individually or do you watch film as a group? We watch film as a group. A lot of us during our free time will take and watch a little bit more film, depending on if we haven't got enough yet. We watch a lot of film together during the week. And I've seen this before, and I think listeners that have never seen it before might find this kind of interesting. Don't you have some sort of like a... a white remote control or something in your hand that you use, and how does that thing work? Oh, yeah, it's a remote control that you just rewind, I mean, relentless rewinding all day, just over and over and over again until you get what you want out of that play. When we see Sean, we got Sean Merriman on the line. Sean, when we're watching the football game and we see on the sidelines that they have those black and white Polaroids that they take, what exactly, do you look at those, and when you're looking at those big,
They're like 8x10 Polaroids, black and white. First of all, why they're not in color, I have no idea. I mean, it's 2008. You're saying that they take... pictures, like, right there. As the game is happening. And then they show them to the players? Yeah. Yeah, it looks like we're still playing back in, like, 1952. That was my first thought. It's, like, 2008. Like, could they get that thing on a BlackBerry? Seriously, you know what I mean? I think they're looking for the fastest way. They're looking for the fastest way to get it to us, and whatever the reason's for, it's black and white still, and we look at the pictures that way. But they're useful only if you make a mistake. I don't like them too much because they don't show me nothing. I like to watch films. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I was just going to ask you because when I look at it, I'm like, man, what can you take from a photograph of something that...
It requires movement. It already helps out quarterbacks see how defenses are lined up in particular plays. Yeah, just basically alignment. They go through the pitchers. You remember how they used to draw the old cartoons? They flip the pages and they move. It's almost like that. Yeah. What a trip. So, Sean, Eddie, you got a question? Yeah, Sean, watching the game yesterday, watching the Dolphins run that wildcat offense. Have you seen that before, like maybe in college? Oh, yeah, a lot in college. I mean, you see with the teams that they're trying to utilize some of their best players. I mean, you know, Chad Pinkerton's not going to just win the game and do everything for them. So they kind of adjust it and put Ronnie Brown back there and then put Chad at wide receiver. I mean, that formation is endless. It's almost like running a wishbone offense. You don't know who's getting the ball. You don't know where it's going. I was commenting earlier this season on my show on Fawcett, that's maybe what some teams need to do with Vince Young, what the Titans need to do with Vince Young, because they kind of adjust to the player. I didn't know Chad Pennington is not going to go over and light everybody up for 300 yards a game, so they made an adjustment. And for those of you listening that are not that familiar with football, Eddie just described it. A wildcat offense is kind of this thing where they, well, first of all,
It's not very common. You don't see it every day. And so it's pretty uncommon. And it's very college-like where they utilize these players in all sorts of different ways. It's a direct snap to the running back instead of the quarterback, and the quarterback is lined up at wide receiver. Okay. So anything can happen. Either the running back will run with it, he can throw it, he can hand it off to another back. I mean, there's a lot of different variations that can happen. And, you know, you just don't see it in pro sports. So, Sean, take us on the field. And had you been playing yesterday, the first time you guys see that as a defense, it's obviously a surprise because you don't know that they're going to do that. When you do see it, take us into a defensive huddle. And what would a conversation sound like when you see something so bizarre? First of all, you know, we knew they were going to do that. They did a lot against the Patriots. They did a lot the week before. I mean, they have been doing it. Oh, okay. The problem is, I mean, they beat the Patriots with that formation. You know, Ronnie Brown scored four or five times or whatever it was and threw for a touchdown. And we know what they can do out of that formation. But we have to be aware of everything they can possibly do because we've seen it before. It's a difficult formation to stop. But, you know, this is a copycat league.
how to stop it, they'll keep doing it and make sure they don't ever get in that formation again. And until that happens, they're going to use it until they can't anymore. Is there anything that stuck out to you as glaring yesterday when you were watching the game? Yeah, one thing that always gets under my skin is, you know, winning or losing is very important. Scoring touchdowns, getting sacked, all that is very important. But the key thing and number one out of everything is to never let a team out physically. Once that happens, it's going to be very difficult to stop no matter how much talent you got, no matter what's going on. It's going to be hard to stop that team and win that game if they're pushing you over the piles or pushing you back or hitting you late and then getting away with it. They, in essence, have your heart. They have your heart that game. So I go in number one is, you know, outsource with that team.
My thing is not to have two or three sacks a game, not to have 10 tackles. It's to go in and out-physical you. I'm going to push in you and let you know that this is not going to happen today. And that's where that game starts, and that's where any game starts at. Lights, if you were playing as a team leader, is that something that as a team leader, you can go up to one of the younger guys or you can go up to a teammate and say, do not let that guy push you. Do not let that guy out-physical you and help. your teammates get back into it in that way? I'm going to. I mean, if I see a guy take one of my guys, if I see one of the guys on that team take one of my guys over a pile, oh, I'm pissed off. I'm going on a rampage after that. And anybody who's following me, anybody who's going to be with me is going on a rampage with me because that just won't happen. You know, when we win or lose a game, it's not the point. I mean, you know. The Titans game last year was one of the most physical games I've been in. We played them twice. They're still one of the most physical teams in the NFL right now. That's why they're undefeated still. They don't have the best talent on their team. They don't have the best offense. But they're one of the most physical teams in the National Football League, and that's what matters. That's what's different because you take people's heart from the start of that game to the finish, and you take everything that's left out of them, the thought that they can actually win the game, you take that from them.
And it's not about scoring touchdowns. It's not about that. It's not about tackles. It comes down to physical football, period. That's fantastic. You know what it tells you, too? I'll tell you what it tells you. It tells you that when a guy like Sean isn't out there playing, It just makes you wonder, is there somebody yelling that in these guys' ears? Because that's an important part for Sean to play besides being out there and being just a physical specimen and somebody that could get to the quarterback is being the guy to say what Sean just said. It makes me wonder, Sean, are practices physical enough now, especially under Norv? Does this team need to get tougher? Yeah, I don't think that's it at all. I think that sometimes, I think an LT spoke about it the other day, we start off slow. For whatever reason that is, we can't figure it out. But I can deal with losing a game. I can deal with losing two games. But if someone is out physical in you, if somebody is doing these things to you, doing things at their will and punching the ball in, and they need three or four yards on third or fourth down, and they're running the ball, and you know they're going to run the ball, and they still can do it. I mean, that's the...
That's the worst thing that can ever happen to a team, to know that I'm coming on a pass rush and can't stop me, or know that the LT is getting the ball and they can't do anything. That's the worst demoralizing thing for a team that you can ever do is know what they're about to do, and then they do it anyway. That's the hardest thing to do. Sean Merriman's on the line. Sean, before the game begins, you guys will gather in a circle. You'll get yourselves all pumped up. In the locker room, before you enter the field, Does any of that take place? Oh, yeah, of course. Every game. In the locker room before you even get out onto the field? Before we even get out on the field, we come together as linebackers and really talk to each other and let everybody know what we've got to do. Because I feel as being a linebacker in my position, I think it starts with us. I mean, D-line, of course, I think it starts with them. But I think as linebackers for us.
And the way that team is built, the way that defense is built, it starts with us. You know, we got to take the pressure off everybody else. So, you know, so guys like Luis Castillo can go out and just play the way he's capable of playing. And Camardi don't have to cover Camardi for six or seven seconds. You know, we do that in order to take the pressure off of them. Will you call any of your teammates today and maybe let them know some of the things that you saw to help out? I've talked to them already. I get text messages right after the game. I'm texting and I'm calling guys right after the game. Wow. And you're letting them know what you saw and what you think? Oh, of course. That's awesome. Every week. Every week I'm in front of the TV and I'm looking at everything. Like I said, I break down film. I don't watch the game like everyone else does. I think it's my responsibility, whether I'm there or not, to still let them know what I see. Find out what's going on because I can't be in a locker room. I can't be on the field right now. Yeah, I'm still part of that team. You know, the biggest thing is whether I'm there or not, I mean, this year, next year, two years, I don't know. It's not even really up to me. I don't really even put too much thought in that. But while I'm a San Diego Charger, man, that's still my team. Those are still my teammates. That's awesome. I'm going to find out what's going on. I'm going to ask my guys, Phil. I'm going to ask if you saw after the game.
I still reach out to every guy I can. That's fantastic, man. I love it. I love it. Well, New England is next. Oh, boy. Oh, goodness. New England's coming to town. And that game is going to be a 5-15 local time game. So it'll be the Sunday night football game. So it's in prime time. Does that change things for you guys when it's in prime time? A little bit, you know, because if you lose against a team like mine or you lose, you know, having a slow start, there's nothing better to get a big win on your belt in front of everybody. You know, it kind of changes to what mine thought and their mind process because you kind of get, you know, you kind of get beat up on in the media when you have a team as good as we have and not start off so good. You know, people tend to beat you up over a bunch of things. You know, why LT has lost a step and everything. I mean, he's having a tough time, right? He has one of the most critical things of your body hurt. You know, he has one of the most critical things of his body hurt right now, and there's nothing better than go out and get a big win in front of everybody. Sean Merriman, and I've heard it said a million times, but you can tell me as a player if it's true, and that is, oh, man, don't want to see the Chargers next week. They're mad from what just happened. Is that true, Sean? Is that really what it's like?
Yeah, of course we got to be pissed off right now. I mean, we're heated. And everybody in that locker room know, and I know the guys we have in there, are thinking, let me watch this show. Let me find out what I did wrong, and let me go out there and play my ass off, and that's it. I mean, every guy in that locker room is thinking like that, and all of us are telling them today. They're talking to each other. They're having a defensive meeting right now saying, look, we can't go out and play like this. We don't have losers in that locker room. We don't have not a loser in that locker room, so we're going to figure it out. You know, the thing is, it's figuring it out before it's ever too late, and we will. Sean, I got to tell you, man, every week I think that you become a better and better guest and a better and better contributor. This was a great one, man. I learned so much today, and this was really fantastic, dude. I really appreciate you being on the show. No problem. Thanks. All right, man. We'll talk to you again on Monday and hopefully after a victory. And we appreciate it, Sean. Okay, cool. See you. We'll see you. The family-friendly Beverly Hills Chihuahua was the number one movie this weekend, making $29 million. The White Sox also stave off elimination, beating Tampa Bay 5-3. Won't play a game for as well. So I mentioned it earlier that it was hot, then got cool. We got some rain. Yeah, it was crazy. And so where are we going, Sky? Well, you know, rain Saturday night, and today is warming up a little bit, but they said by Wednesday it's going to be hot. Really? What? Yeah, by Wednesday they're saying like high 90s inland. I'm so confused. Yeah.
Yeah, because I actually went online yesterday to check the weather because I was, like, concerned about rain for the 28-hour show. So I put in the zip code of the station, and it said Wednesday here at the radio station, expect a high of 90 degrees. Oh, man. Whoa. Who knows? I mean, we're still a couple days out. Things can change, but as of now. Ashley will sweat a lot. Let's just go ahead and put out the disclaimer. She's got some issues there. And now. Oh, gross. Bring your sawdust. Bring your wetsuit. Yeah. But it'll be nice for all the P1s watching the movies outside on Wednesday night. It'll be a nice warm evening. That's right. And then they say it should start from Wednesday, start cooling down again into the weekend. Really? Pick up your mind. I know. I'm ready to change seasons already. Well, it so looked like we had changed seasons on Saturday night. You know, we... I hadn't been to church two weekends. I hadn't been there for two Saturdays. So I went back this last Saturday, walked outside afterwards, and it's dark. And I'm used to walking outside, and it's not only bright, it's hot. When we walk out of there, it's 7 o'clock at night. And it was like raining and dark, nighttime. And I go, what universe is this?
Like, what happened? It just happened over the last two weeks where it went from being very bright outside at 7 at night to being completely dark. But more warm weather, I guess. Midweek. 28-hour show is Wednesday. And listen, one thing that you know about us and one thing that you know about the show is that we're unpredictable. But the other thing that you know about us is that we are a reality show on the radio. And real life is real life. And so we got to... talk to you about something and tell you about something that I just found out this morning and that Eddie and Sky and probably Rob and, well, probably everybody but me, knew a little bit about, but I didn't know it was coming. And it is that Ashley and her boyfriend split up. And I didn't see it coming. I didn't know about it. Eddie and Sky kind of knew that it was, you know, going south a little bit. Well, you know, it came out of the blue. Yeah. It definitely came out of the blue. Yeah. So I guess it was made official when, Ash? Friday. Friday. So she doesn't really want to talk about it, which I respect. It hurts, you know. She doesn't want to go there because it just, you know, hurts. But it was unexpected and just kind of happened.
need to figure out moving forward is wednesday we had a cook-off thing that was going to happen where he was going to be the judge and so uh i still think that the cook-off can happen because the concept that well no wait a minute the concept was he liked her cooking better uh but i'm sure that we can still do it let us put our heads together about it today and we'll figure out a way that it could be done yeah uh because i see listen viking uh stoves, they're bringing down an oven. That's crazy. It's an oven and a cooktop and a whole thing. Awesome! And so we'll still figure out a way to do this. We just have to figure out what the take and the angle is going to be. Well, the angle is that Ashley's cooking is far superior. Wow. And I will be her sous chef. That's a really strong statement. Yeah, I mean, I really don't feel fazed by any of this in terms of my cooking skills and the victory upset that will take place on Wednesday. Duh. Duh. That's still going to happen. She was going to make some sort of creepy wheat pasta. Are you girls being serious? What? Yeah, they are being serious. Hey, heartbreak doesn't affect cooking, bro.
She's still a champion in that kitchen. Quality of ingredients, knowledge of the recipe. Go ahead. Eddie has something. Eddie, please make a statement. That is true. I'd just like to tell these gorgeous ladies. Thank you. Thank you. Then in these cook-offs, I'm 2-0. Yeah. I'm 2-0. What was that? Undefeated. But you've never gone against Ashley. But I have gone against you. Yeah, that's true. But I'm just going to be a sous chef here. I support my girl. Fair enough. She has all the talents. Eddie's got a good point. I'm picking the menu, Mike. That's the thing. Yeah, she's got the talent. This is my bread and butter right here. But we were picking the menu for him, so is that going to change now? I don't know. We've got to discuss it. My heart is melting over here. Seriously. What do you do to me, Eddie? Yeah, hopefully... When you beat her, it won't be even more of a discouragement. Maybe I'll let her win now. What are you doing now? What do you do? I don't need your pity. I don't need your pity cook. This is a competition. Take anyone on. That's right. Anyone? It's a competition. That's right, girl. You tell them. You can get freaking.
You know, Tyler. Tyler face. That guy. You can get him and freaking judge it. I don't give a rip. Ash, let me ask you a question here. Let me ask you a question here. She's so good. Eddie has gone against Guy twice and won. Does it concern you that the losing team is, in fact, one of your team members? Not for a second. Not for a second. Because I'm in charge. She's self-admitted that she's terrible in the kitchen. Terrible. Yeah, I am terrible, but Ashley says she will have some instruction for me. She has very simple tasks for me. She's going to be a great assistant. I'm going to have her cut and chop and monitor, and she'll kill it. I have to say, well, you know, you're not giving me any credit for being in these competitions. It's stressful, Mike. You know, we won that one competition. Please. You know, I mean, there is a time crunch. You know, it's a lot different than being in your home kitchen. Just cooking up some pasta. Oh, no. We're going to put on a little Sara Bareilles. We're going to get in a groove. I love that idea. Yeah, we're going to get in a groove. What is that? We're going to take our time. We're just going to enjoy it. We're just going to enjoy it. Cooking tears me up. I really enjoy it. Yeah, it's therapeutic. Quite frankly, this is important that I cook for somebody because it's going to only help take my mind off things. I'll cook for anyone. I just want to win. Pardon me? We eat pasta. Are we still going with that?
I'll make whatever, man. Try not to bring her down too much sky, all right? She really needs this win. Whatever. I'm going to do my best, Rob. Good luck, Anchor. Shut up. I'm doing my best. Come on. No. Anchor is it. Let me tell you something. There's going to be a lot of things going on outdoors on Wednesday. I'm excited about that. Thank you, Mikey. You're welcome, Mr. McCain. You know how these broads are paying off the bet for the... Hey, we're ladies. Thank you very much. We must be communicating on some kind of unspoken, because that's exactly where I was going. We are ladies. Talk about the broads. Check it out. Team sass. Why do you laugh? Laughing.
Sky, Ashley, Chantel, Team Sass. Their record in Battle of the Sexes was, they were 13 and 41. Whatever. They got destroyed. That's right. They didn't do well. Not cool. Team Awesome won the Battle of the Sexes. Awesome. Eddie and Boston Rob and Sean, they won. Awesome. Easily. All right. Calm down. On the 28-hour show, the girls will be paying off their bets. Yeah. That's so rad. They're going to be serving chicken wings to the guys in demoralizing Hooter outfits. I think you're going to look great. You probably will. I think you will, actually. You're going to strut your stuff. I'm happy. I will definitely strut. Okay. That's right. I'm a strutter. I practice on the weekends. I don't know about that. No? Oh, that's weird. So that's going to be fantastic. That will happen on Wednesday. Oh, man. Right here at the radio station. And listen, people are invited down here, man. Oh, they are? Oh, yeah. Shut up, Sean. Shut up. Well, think about it.
We're going to have so many things going on out there. We're going to auction off Zeth. And by the way, we... Some lucky guy. No, thank you. Bunch of jerks. So, yeah, we're inviting all the ladies down here. All you single ladies with a little money in your pocket. By money, I mean $1.50. Betty starts at a quarter. And we're treating for dinner, so you're actually making money out of this. Yes. I mean, if you want to look at it that way. Yes, you are. I like to play the leaders. Thank you. Thank you. So we're going to be doing that outdoors on the stage. Mikey Idol will happen out there. Performances from all members of the show and a special performance from me, your mentor. What else have we got going on? The cook-off is going to happen out there. There's going to be a guitar hero challenge between Eddie and B-Rob. So stupid. We're going to go from being teammates to competitors. Oh, my goodness. That's right. It's going to be fantastic. You're going to run with the bulls? Oh, yeah. It's going to be 90 degrees out there.
Don't you wish you said you would nap with the bulls? Here's the best part about that. What? There is no best part. Yeah, I want to hear the best part. Hasta la vista. Rob and Zeth being the bulls. Duh. In a cage. In a cage. And we're going to put like little tap shoes on them so they like to have hooks so they'll be slipping like the bulls do. That's hysterical. That is hysterical. That is genius. But unfortunately for Mike, That's the first big event of the morning. So he's going to be running around and then have to do like 24 more hours after that. How do you feel about that, Mike? You'll be fine. You'll be fine. It'll be a nice little warm-up for you. I'm nauseous. I'm nauseous. You'll be fine. You'll do great. I now know how you guys, like, I know how you guys feel now because all you guys have to do crazy stuff and you're, like, dreading it. And I just get to sit here and wait and, like, look forward to it. You know, like, I'm, like, I'm all excited. Yeah, you know, Sky or Eddie or everybody's going to be doing something crazy and I get to watch. No, not this. Now I have to do it. And you guys get to be excited about it.
By the way, when we auction off Zeth, we are going to have a professional auctioneer. Not only is he a professional. We know a professional? I didn't know we knew a professional. This is crazy. We do. I didn't know we knew a professional. Awesome. But I get a phone call from Bill Menish, formerly of Channel 739. Yeah. He used to be the morning anchor on NBC 739. He left it. to become a professional auctioneer. Get out of here. What? No joke. A craziest. That's crazy. And so it's going to be fantastic. Oh, that is great. So anyway, yeah, that's going to happen on Wednesday, the auction of Zeth. Ladies, come down. We'll have paddles for you. You can raise your paddle, you know, as he's doing the auctioning. It's a classy event. That's right. It's classy. I mean, please. Starts at 25 cents today. A little high, but... Hey, come on. First time ever, the movie's being shown outdoors on a projection screen. That's right. Awesome. Eddie, I have a question for you. Yo, what's up? What's the over-under on the Zeth auction? Ooh. I don't want to play. What's the over-under? If we're starting at a quarter...
I would say the over-under is $10. That's great. Wow. Okay, the over-under on Zeth is $10. What do you take? Oh, man. Okay. We're going to give our answers, and we're going to give an explanation for our answers. All right. I'm going to take the over, and the reason I'm taking the over is because I believe that there's a gal out there right now that is a fan of his, has already in her mind gone, 20 bucks. I'm going to put aside 20 bucks because I want to go out on a date with Zeph. Throw down a Twiz. Yeah, Twiz. Are we considering the children's hospital aspect of it? Yeah, I'm considering it. Oh, so Zeph is tax deductible. Zeph is tax deductible. Oh, my God. Oh, that's a deal. Wow.
Wow, that is a bid from a man. That's a lot of money. A man with nail polish on. That's right. Eddie, what do you take? The over or the under? I'm going to go way, way over because of the mustache factor. Thank you. Some dude is going to pay top dollar for that mustache. That is fantastic. I mean, I'm thinking the village people are coming down for this thing. Oh, of course. You know, they're going to be like, ooh, mustachio. Oh, yeah, dude. Oh, thank you. Oh, thank you. The Indian alone will have some wampum, too. We'll take turquoise, whatever. Beaver paws, whatever you have. Beaver paws. That's for Sean. Eddie then pulled away from the microphone. What a jerk. I'm sure anybody heard that. Everybody heard it. Oh, they did? Sky over or under? I'm going to go over because I believe there will be some shenanigans and there are going to be a couple jokesters that are going to want this date. I believe they're going to be male. But I believe we're going to raise some good money for charity, so I'm going over. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Shawnee, oh boy.
I'm going to go over as well because he, in a way, he's every girl's dream. Because every woman just wants to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. And he's so shy, he'll never say anything. He'll shut up the whole time and they can blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then they'll share a tear together. Then they'll share a tear together. I'm getting it from Sky today? Come on. No, I'm just saying. There are positive things about you. I'm just saying. Ashley, what do you take, the over or under? Ten bucks. Oh, no. No, Ashley's got her face crinkled. She's thinking. She doesn't know. I was going to say under, but now I feel bad. Yeah, you feel bad because everybody's gone. And all these things, and I'm like, gosh, the charity, he's a charity case, so it probably will be more than $10. That means something different. Yeah, different charity. The charity's not him. I'd like to give my boy the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to say over as well. $10.50? It's got to be a little bit more than that. How about you, Boston Rob? What do you think? $10, way over. Way over. What do you think? I'm thinking, call me crazy, $120. Oh, come on. I think you are crazy. You think that a girl will be willing to pay $120 to go out with Zeth? Yeah.
That's a lot. I don't. I think a guy will, but I don't think a guy will. Yeah, I agree with that. Zeth has a new facial hairstyle. Oh, yeah. Let's talk about it. For those of you that are listening right now, you say, why are you auctioning this guy? Who is he? What's he all about? He is, well, he's kind of low man on the totem pole for the Mikey show. He's the latest guy. He's the latest guy to join the show. He joined. He got on the show because he won a contest. And he did really good in the contest. And he's very quiet on the show. You rarely hear Zeth. His actual name is the artist formerly known. Right. As Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. Obviously. And he is a really nice kid. He's just very shy. And he doesn't. I don't think his actual personality matches the exterior because, you know, he looks like an Aryan skinhead. Yeah, it's true. Tattoos covering his arms, closely cropped haircut. He's a handsome kid, but he looks scary. But he's not. He's very gentle and sensitive. And with this new...
New facial hair. He looks like a little kid who drank a big glass of chocolate milk. And it gave him the chocolate milk mustache. That's a really good analogy. That's right. And he also, it's kind of starting to look like Daniel Plainview. Oh, a little bit. And so he will be up for auction, ladies, if you want to. We're going to pay for it. For you to go out on Wednesday night, night of the 28-hour show, you can go out with them. Go easy, girl. Thank you. And you single guys, we have a lady, a girl named Lori. Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race.
And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. Back to the Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show at 7.15. No, let's call it 8 o'clock. Yeah. One person was killed and three were injured in a fight that broke out in the college area early Saturday morning. Chargers.com.
Didn't have the magic this time. They lost to Miami 17-10. And part of the reason was this play where LT got stuffed. And Rivers drops and looks that way. Now chucks it to a wide open. Chambers in the end zone. Drags the beast. Touchdown! Chris Chambers, what a catch! And the Chargers have scored! That was actually the Chambers touchdown. That's all right. You got it? Yeah, I got it right. Go ahead. Fourth and goal for the Chargers, who trail by seven. The ball is on the one. Tolbert blocking for LT, who rips to the goal line, moving the pile. Didn't get there. He is stuck at the one-yard line. Wow. He couldn't do it. It's the toe, right? That time, no. That time, it was the offensive line getting no push whatsoever. You know, I didn't like the call. I think right at that point, you kick the field goal. It's 17-13. You have all the momentum. You rely on the defense to stop it, get the ball back, and try and score again. But if you're going to go for it on fourth down on the one, LT hasn't had the burst, the hops to get over, get through the line. And I would have liked to have seen something tricky there.
a bootleg or anything. Just switch it up because obviously busting LT through the middle wasn't working. This email says, Mikey, I want to hear Eddie talk about the Kimbo Slice fight that happened this weekend. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. First, they don't let Shamrock fight. What? What is that about, Eddie? Okay. So about an hour before the fight, I went online. I wanted to look on something on ESPN.com, and I see this headline that Shamrock is out of the fight. I went, holy cow. So I click on it, and while warming up, he was warming up with a partner, and he smacked his eye and cut a pretty good gash above his eye that required six stitches. And if you have any kind of laceration, you're out. Oh, my gosh. And so they were thinking about canceling the fight. But, I mean, this is CBS primetime fights. You know, this is a big deal. Right. So a guy that was fighting on the undercard, his name is Seth Petruzzelli, who is a former UFC fighter. He fought in the second season of The Ultimate Fighter. He's been around for a while. He's a good fighter. I mean, he's not great. He's kind of a journeyman. But, you know, they asked him, will you step in and fight Kimbo? And he's like.
Absolutely. It's kind of like a lottery ticket. He's got nothing to lose. If he loses, he's expected to lose. If he wins, he's all of a sudden huge. The thing about it is Kimbo, it's a big difference in opponent. I think that it was a huge mistake on his part to take that fight. Kimbo is an experienced guy that he can just say, oh, I'll fight anybody. You know, you got a game plan for some of these fights. But he took it. He took the fight, you know, and he walked in there 14 seconds, got hit with what I thought was a pretty normal punch. Got hit in the face, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. Kimbo dropped? Kimbo dropped. Come on. And lost the fight. Oh, my God. Eddie, what does that mean for Kimbo now? What? I mean, now doesn't it look like he lost to a way lesser opponent? Absolutely, it does. You know, they can make the excuse that, you know, well, Kimbo didn't know who he was fighting and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I said to my wife before, you know, when that happened, I said, Kimbo's going to lose this fight. No way. And I'll tell you why. Because he's going to be so tight.
Going into that fight, not knowing what's going on and, you know, just the aura surrounding it. When you're tight and you go into a fight like that, you get punched, you're going to drop. But if you're relaxed and loose, you can get hit and be fine. But it was bad for him. And it's bad for that Elite XC company because they put all their marbles in this one guy's basket. And, you know, now what? I mean, the one thing I can say, is the Kimbo-Shamrock fight probably still going to happen because there's heat between them now. At the weigh-in, they got into a shoving match on Friday, the day before. Kimbo turned his back when they were doing a face-off, and he turned his back to Ken, and Ken thought he disrespected him. So he shoved him, and they got into a shoving match. It's WWE stuff. Ken Shamrock's always involved in that stuff. But that added fuel to that fight, and then two hours before the fight, he was out. And so that fuel is still there. So, you know, if Kimbo fights Shamrock again and wins impressively, then, you know, it's fine. Everybody loses in MMA. It happens. But if he loses to Shamrock, then he's probably done. Wow. That's crazy. That's unreal, man. My girl Gina Carano won too, though.
So bad. Awesome. So bad, dude. CBS, right? Yeah, it was on CBS primetime Saturday night. They do this every Saturday night? No, no, no. It's like once every three months. Okay. Yeah. Well, that's kind of cool. Yeah. Getting to see stuff on primetime. For sure. Text messages at 35253. Mikey, do you guys think that OJ would have been found guilty regardless of whether he did it or not just to make up for the blown call 13 years ago? That's P1 justice. Yeah. You can't help but think it was on the jurors. I mean, they know what they're instructed to do. They're supposed to be impartial and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're people. Who knows? Yeah, but what the jurors are saying that it was really that audio tape of the confrontation that happened in the hotel room in Las Vegas. What audio tape? Well, the one they played in your trial. Oh, oh, oh, you mean that. That OJ impersonator that you heard on there. I can't believe that. That's fake, man. Yeah. What's your fakeity fake? Exhibit A, my husband's trophy. I don't know how that's a piece of evidence.
It's a newspaper from 1972 that says O.J. rushes for $2,000. How about that, Judge? Well, that has no bearing here in this case. And Exhibit C, I'll cut all your hands off. Well, okay. Double over the top. Really a little much. Okay. Right now. There you go, man. I'm innocent. So the jurors were basically saying. Case closed. Without that tape, he probably wouldn't have been found guilty because they didn't find the witnesses very credible. But that tape was the thing that sealed his fate. So without that, the jurors are making it sound like he wouldn't have been convicted. I'll cut that tape's head off. Tapes don't bleed, man. This text message said, is Skye going to wear her mom shorts with the Hooters outfit? It says, I don't. Wear mom shorts. Says it would make you look sturdy. That's P1 shorts. Stop it. I don't wear mom shorts. 570-1053 is our phone number. Why would you be calling? Because we're going to do a little of the dumb chick job. It's okay, yeah. It doesn't affect your personal life. I'm really in no state of mind to be doing this right now, guys.
If you're just tuning in, Ashley and her boyfriend have broken up. How am I supposed to do this right now, guys? That's right. Well, I think that it could be that the relationship was a distraction and now you're ready to concentrate on the dumb chick challenge. 570-1053. You don't get that? Well, it could be that the relationship... had her thinking about the relationship, but now that her mind is clear. But, I mean, we've been doing this before they were even together. It's true. What? Come on. I don't know. I don't think we need to analyze this. I don't think we need to analyze this. I'm just in so much pain that I don't know how I could possibly do well. I see what she's saying. I see what she's saying.
Well, we're about to find out, Ash. So I think that Eddie should fill in for me. That's okay. I think you can do it. I agree. And Michael, fill in for me. Look how sweet this is. Look how sweet this is. Darren, are you there? Yes. Who are you taking? Ashley. Look at you. Look at you. You sweet, kind little. I love you. Yeah. You're like a knight in shining armor. There you go. That's really nice. P1, Scott's Army. Are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Who are you taking? I will take Sky. Oh, wow. Oh, come on. And finally, P1 Drewski, are you there? Yes, sir. Drewski, you have Rob. Sounds good. All right, hang on. The three dumb chicks are Sky, Ashley, and Rob, and all they have to do is get to five points to win. The trouble is is that they have to answer questions. The questions are really hard. That is the trouble, Mike. We got one, two, and three-point questions. Ones are easy, threes are hard. First person to five wins. Let's begin. Eddie, who starts? I think it's cleared. We need to start with Ashley. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Now, with her heartbreaking, with this breakup, we will see what direction she chooses to go. Will she take it easy with a one-pointer? Or will she go hard and try to get a three-point? Uh-oh, no. She's now, uh-oh, she's doing...
She's doing some faces that may not be indicative of somebody that wants to compete. She's pretending to strangle herself. And before that, she had a handgun up to her head. So let's see. What was that? I don't know. That was electrolysis to the face. Electrolysis to the face. Botox. Botox to the face. We're going to just, listen, everybody is fine. Oh, she's wiping tears away, but everybody's fine. No, I poked my eye. It's fine. Sorry about that. Yeah, we all do. We're just going to start where everyone's calm, and I'm going to start with a one. A one-pointer. Let's start with a one-pointer. We're going to start with a one-pointer. Let's just start easy. She's wiping tears away. No, I poked myself in the eye. She poked herself in the eye. Oh. When I was... Poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke. Just stop. Ashley, your one-point question is, who sculpted the famous David statue? Who sculpted the famous David statue? Her face never changed. There was never an expression change from before I asked the question to after asking the question. But usually when you get a question like that, something changes. Yeah, well, something happens. You get a look of like, oh, yeah, I know this one.
Oh, now she's asking Sky to IM her the answer. She's doing it silently. It's a hard day for me. I wish I could. I know, but that's why we did the one point question. Yeah, that's why we won. Dig deep. She's wearing a power red, too. You got it in there. I'm either seeing, I've got two trains of thought. I'm either thinking Moses or I'm thinking Van Gogh. That was impossible for Eddie to hold in. Eddie wanted to hold that in. That really helped me out. So I'll go Van Gogh. Oh, you just let her know that it wasn't Moses. I don't care. It doesn't matter. Then it's got to be Van Gogh. Right. Moses. Moses. Oh, wow. Moses. Today is a special day. Moses. Did he do that before or after the arc? I'm just curious. You know what, Sean? I'm pretty sure that happened. I know the ark is his best work. I'm curious if the statue led up to the ark or if that was after the ark when he retired. Did he do that during retirement? Pretty sure you don't. Aw, Sean. Did he sculpt it on Mount Sinai? It was not. Wasn't that Noah? It was not. Moses didn't build the ark. Never mind. Delete the duck points from Sean.
I think we have a replacement for Ashley. Okay, well, no. Yes, neither is correct. I was way off. That's all I really had to say. Why did I have to go through the whole mockery thing? It was Michelangelo, actually, that did the famous David's dad. Oh, she's doing that. Oh, okay, well, whatever. All right, Skye. We now go over to Skye. Skye usually has two-point question, two-point question, one-point question. You're going to play on the 28-hour show, too. So, warm up, lady. Warm it up, lady. Spice it up. Oh, mama. We play on Mondays, Mike. I would like a two-pointer question. A two-point question. There's no fun. That's what you always do. That's kind of fun. Thank you. That's what you always do. That's what you do.
Sky. Yeah. Give her a tough two-pointer. Shut up. From which building in Dallas, Texas, did Lee Harvey Oswald shoot the... Oh, she already has a look like, what do you want from me? Come on! Let's all calm down. From what building in Dallas, Texas, did Lee Harvey Oswald shoot the bullets that killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963? Cowboy Stadium. I'll tell you right now. First of all, I'd like to say this is a faulty question. A faulty question. He could have been set up. We don't know government conspiracies. Let me rephrase it. It said allegedly. From which building in Dallas, Texas, did Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly shoot the bullet? So now we're asking questions about alleged things. Like, oh, oh, allegedly. This is where she's going. All right. This is where she's going. I got it. I got it. Don't worry. I'm going to rephrase the question. Allegedly. What level have we sunk into here? What building in Dallas, Texas is most commonly.
Referred to as the building where Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly shot the bullets that killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Oh. Most commonly. I'm trying to think of a way to dispute this. According to who? Most commonly. According to who? Most commonly. The world? Please. Oh, no. I mean, what's up with the grassy knoll? I thought, doesn't the grassy knoll have something? Sky, it's in there. It's in here. Was it from Big Fat Paul's? What's it called? The California Pizza Baja or something? Pizza Kitchen? Yeah, Baja San Diego, right, dude? That's great. I'm going to say the Ford Theater. Oh, no. That is... A strange guess. What is a theater? Shut up. Theater. Sky is now waving to the crowd. It's fine, Sky. I know. It's a tough day for everyone. Sky is waving to the crowd. I go to the theater. Sky. Yes. If you were asking my father, he would say that this happened from the Dallas Book Suppository. Oh, that's a weird. Whoa. That's a weird place to put a book. I was way off. But it's actually, and I had to.
I had to correct him. It's the Dallas Book Depository is where this happened. Yeah, whatever. Over there at the Book Depository. Okay, allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly. Great. Boston Rob. Give me a three. Let's do this. There's no reason. Wait, what? Nobody's scored. Oh, no. Backtrack, backtrack, backtrack. I know, but he's just... Okay. All right, Rob. Your three-point question is... Make it an easy one, Mike. Come on. This is a great piece of trivia. Love trivia. This is something I didn't know, but I think maybe you will, Rob. What was the book that Mark David Chapman... Oh, please. Oh, wow, Sky. Oh, Sky. I was going to look at Sky to see... Sky, you know who that is, no doubt, right? Wait. I definitely know the book. You just yelled out easy. I know the book. You don't even know who he is. Send it. I had no idea. I had no idea.
What is going on? I'm so confused. Let me read the whole question. What was the book that Mark David Chapman... Ashley, do you know who Mark David Chapman is? He sounds familiar. Can I hear the rest of my question? He's a running back for the McDonald's. What was the book that Mark David Chapman was carrying? Eddie, did she just IM it to you? Is she right? What was the book that Mark David Chapman was carrying when he gunned down John Lennon? Did she get it right? She did, but her... Reasoning is real off. But the answer is on, dead on. She's right. That's all that matters, Skye. Boston Rob? What was he reading? Confused. My mom's going to kick my butt for not knowing this. Mom. She was in Central Park when... Lennon died. She was on a date in a horse and buggy carriage. He got killed across the street from Central Bush. She was on a date with this guy and they were doing a horse and carriage ride or whatever. They were on a horse and buggy ride? No, don't tell them that. Don't tell them that. Horse and buggy ride? That's really cute.
Okay, Rob. That really set the visual. Oh, gosh. I wish that was my question. Oh, man. I can't wait to hear what Sky... It is so awesome that I know this. I'm just going to take a shot in the dark. I think it was maybe Catcher in the Rye. That is correct. How did you do that? My mom's told me... That's like some guy ran up to her. Skye is so irritated. Skye is so irritated. All the air came out of that. Eddie, so what is the deal? What did Skye say? The reason why Skye knows the correct answer is she, I, and me, the right answer, catcher on the right, and then ever watch that movie with Mel Gibson, Conspiracy Theory? Yeah, he had to buy that. book wherever he went because he was brainwashed by the government to be an assassin. Just like all the other murderers who've assassinated people. Plus, you have to have a middle name. You've got to have a middle name to be an assassin. To Sky, the library is Blockbuster. It's where she gets all of her knowledge. It's a really good movie. Blockbuster video. Had a million copies of Catcher in the Rye. There it is. Thank you. Boston Rob, you just scored three points. Huge, yes. Lame. Yeah!
Ashley. Uh-oh. Look at Ashley. She's wanting... Oh, skip me. Yeah, she wants... Oh, she wants us to skip her. She wants us to skip her. Go right to sky. I think you can do it, kid. I think you've got to shoot high. It's times like this in adversity, you know, where you just get that... True champions show up. Yeah, that extra... Okay, give me a two, please. Oh, a two player. So cute. All right, Ashley, the most densely populated city in the world. Yes. with 250,000 people per square mile is what city in Asia? Eddie is blocking himself from looking at Ashley because he's, well, he's laughing, if we're going to be quite honest. Why is he laughing? I don't know, but he's doing the horse blinder thing with his hands. He can't look at her. He held up New York before she even heard that question. Let me give you the, yeah, let me give you the question again. I'm still going with New York.
Let me give you the question again, Ashley. I think I know, but go ahead. I think you do. I don't. The most densely populated. Hey, face coach. The most densely populated. I've all days to be on my side. I'm on your side. You yelled out New York. The most densely populated city in the world with 250,000 people per square mile is what city in Asia? No, it's not Lake Havasu. It is not Lake Havasu. You sure? Not today, guys. It's supposed to be my base coach. Yeah. Mike. I'm broken. It's in there. I'm broken. Yeah, shove it in their faces. Come on. You got this, girl. It's kind of loving the rocks. It's really. It's really. You got it. It's really? It's really not nice. Not today, guys. Okay. I'm going to go with my gut and say Beijing. It's a good guess.
It's a good guess, Ashley. It's the only city that I really know. It's a solid guess. It's a solid guess. Solid. It's incorrect. The answer's Hong Kong. It's not Beijing. It is not Beijing. Sky, we move on to you. And I'm sure you're going to shoot for the stars. You're going to catch up with the rod. You're going to catch up with the rod. There's no need. You're going to catch up with the rod. There is no need. You're going to ask her a question that was in National Treasure in so many minutes. You knew the last three-pointer. I know, I did. Yeah, I'm going to take it, too. Hey, you boo. Don't you want to win? Sky. Yes. Sometimes called a hair lip, what physical condition is marked? by the incomplete fusion of the bones in the upper mouth. A cleft palate. That is correct. What movie was that from? Yeah. Girls just want to have fun. Simple Jack. Simple Jack. Simple Jack. Awesome reference. 8 million points for that. Thank you. Boston Robert. Simple Jack.
Oh, so rad. What is Simple Jack? Tropic Thunder. Oh, oh, oh. Yeah, Ben Stiller's character. He tried to do a serious role where he played a special needs person with Simple Jack. The name Simple Jack. He was really going for the Oscar with that. Boston Robert, you can end it all with a two-pointer. I'm going to try to end it. Let's go two. All right. I don't know, though. These two-pointers have been tough. Yeah, take a one. Yeah. Which profession? Takes the Hippocratic Oath. What? Huh? I gotta think about it. Think about it. While you're thinking about it, can you do something about the tufts of hair that are sticking out from underneath your baseball cap? Why didn't you guys tell me? Oh, man. Oh, my God. That's what you were going for. I'm so embarrassed. Thank you. Thank you for doing that. I appreciate you doing that. He fixed it. He put the baseball cap over the tufts. The Hippocratic?
It's like a baby bird was sticking out from underneath that hat. I don't get the question. Read it to me one more time. Like you're a hypocrite? You gotta take an oath to be a hypocrite? Is that another way to say I don't know the answer? He could just say that. Which profession takes the Hippocratic Oath? Or you could use your brain. I don't know. Becoming a judge. Who knows? I really don't. I don't know. Becoming a judge. Who knows? Is incorrect. Is incorrect. Yes, guy gets to go again. That was your master plan the whole time. Rob, doctors take the Hippocratic Oath. Well, they're a bunch of hypocrites then. Yeah, that's right. Ashley? Oh, no. Who knows what that means? Who knows? She's looking at Eddie. Eddie's giving her signs. What is she doing? Give me a twee, please. Oh, I love it. Look at her. Yeah. Look at her. Watch this. She gets them right. Watch this. We're just going to zah, you know. Yep, total zah. Ashley. Knock it out. Who was Jimmy Carter's vice president? That look was priceless. That look was priceless all of a sudden.
A giant smile formed on her face when I asked the question. Who's Jimmy Carter? Who was Jimmy Carter's vice president? President? No, vice president. Vice president Johnson. Just go with Johnson. It's a good, it's a sturdy last name. That is incorrect, Ash. It was Walter Mondale. Walter. It's Walter Mondale. That's right. He actually ran for president later. Walter Mondale. And you know what he did? He was the first guy to have a chick as his vice presidential candidate on ticket with him. What? Yeah, her name was Geraldine Ferraro. Oh, but she... It didn't work out. It didn't work out. They lost. All right. It didn't. Let's see. Sky. Hey!
What will Skye do? I need to consult with Zeth. Oh, why? What? I think she should take a three-pointer. Zeth? Usually she'll take two pointers and then a one. A three-pointer? She's looking over at Zeth. Or another two. Well, Rob don't miss the twos very often. Yeah, except for the last one. Oh, yeah, but rarely two in a row with those two pointers. So you're advising me. Yeah, you know where I'm going with this. All right, all right. I trust the mustache. Thank you. I'm going with the three. Oh, no. Yes. Come on, Mike. Oh, no. Well. Oh, no. Either Blockbuster paid off or it didn't. Oh, gosh. You got it, Sky. Oh, gosh. Is it something about Nick Cage? While all those kids were studying at Blockbuster, Sky, we're going to see if you were partying or spending your time at Blockbuster. Please. I think we already know the answer. Sky, the 1987 film Gorillas in the Mist. Okay, hold on. Okay. Was the story. Of which anthropologist? Sigourney Weaver. Skye! I'm joking. Are you? She's an actress, you clowns. That's an obvious joke. Sean dropped his jaw and thought. Not an obvious joke. I mean, she was the one who was in the movie. We are ridiculous for thinking that she meant that as her answer, ladies and gentlemen. Let's try this again. Are you ready, Skye?
The 1987 film Gorillas in the Mist was the story of which anthropologist who studied gorillas in Africa? Okay, Skye's got hands up to the face. How are you not just shouting this out? How are you not shutting up? Easy. Okay. Here's my real answer, Sigourney Weaver. Now may I say Sigourney Weaver. So it's obviously Angelina Jolie. No. Okay, I'm going to be mad. I'm going to be mad because I'm going to know this answer. I mean, you've seen the movie then. I don't know. Okay. My sophomore year, I didn't make it to Blockbuster as much. I was, you know, partying. I don't know why I'm seeing an M name. M. Night Shyamalan. I did grant another Sigourney movie, so I'm going to say Tom Skerritt. Yes. This is Tom Skerritt. Please. I'm seeing an M. I'm seeing a B. Bishop. You're close. Are you being a jerk right now? We don't know. Can't give any hints. It's the anthropology of the study of stars. It was Moses.
Yeah, Moses built the stars, right? That's what I heard. I don't know, Mike. May Trina. Diane Fossey. Oh, I was way off. Oh, wow. Yeah, I was way off. Wait, what's her name again? Diane Fossey. Diane Fossey. I will not remember that. Hey, Rob. Boston. Boston. I want to try to end it. Yeah, give me a two. Your two-point question is. What city? New York. Stupid. What city is Jim Morrison buried in? Oh, Rob's eyes just got the size of saucers. See, Skye, you should have went for a two. Oh, wow. That wasn't called. Skye, do you know this? She'd have gotten it.
I don't know. Give me a sec. I think... Because my thought is... You know this. I know. Where's Jim Morrison, Barry? I know he died in France. Who is Jim Morrison is the real question. Do you know Ashley? Come on, you know. You do too. I probably will when you say. My buddy Meatball is kicking the stereo right now. Oh, that Meatball. Getting marinara sauce all over it. I can't believe Ash needs us to... Like, if you were to guess, Ash, like, what even realm are we talking? Actor. Wow. How's that make you feel, guys in your 30s? I'm just, oh, man. I'm really upset myself. I'm going to say Paris, France. I don't think that's it, though. You are correct. Ash, he was the lead singer of the band The Doors. The Doors. P1 Drewski. Drewski, are you there?
Drewski, Rob just won for you. Yeah. It's like Drewski. That's right, dude. What did he win, Eddie? Oh, he won something cool. It is tickets to The Aftermath. It's an MMA fight out at Viejas. How about you? This Saturday. How about you? Okay, hang on the line. When we come back, we got to talk about this dude that got struck by lightning. Oh, yeah. Sky, when did this happen? It happened last week. Okay. When we come back, and they got video of it. It's crazy. Don't go away. True food. Until we learn most people die of natural causes. Mikey. It's not easy. That is an expression of love. Ladies and gentlemen, Seacrest's new reality dating show. What?
Gets a spot on NBC. Mike. Isn't that right, Skye? Yes. It's called Mama's Boy. He already has so much on his plate. He does. He's a busy guy. He's a very busy man. Where does he find the... So basically, Mama's... I mean, there's people that want to be like him. Absolutely. I would like to be Seacrest. What? Well, Mike, then why didn't you get this game? You should love this story, then. Well, Mike, that sounds yummy. How dare you? How dare you? I would like to be at Seacrest. Stop it. Really, I can't do that. I would like to be at Seacrest. Hey, Mike. We're screaming it in our face. Yeah, please.
So Mama's Boy will feature 32 women who are trying to win over these Bachelor guys, but the moms are involved, so the moms will be the ones picking and choosing. So NBC has decided that they think it's such a great show that they're going to give it the 9 o'clock Wednesday time slot that America's Got Talent used to be in, and they've already begun casting for a second season of Mama's Boy. So there's Seacrest getting involved in more stuff. Is he hosting it or just producing it? I think just producing it. There's so much dough in producing television shows. There's an extraordinary large amount of dough involved in doing that. So, Kate, this dude is at a gas station. I don't know where. In New York. New York City? Biggest city in Asia. That's right. That is correct. Shut up. The story says Village of Barker, New York. Barker, never heard of it. Don't know. Don't know. Anyway, what happened? OK, so this is Wednesday. This dude is pumping gas. And, you know, I guess they're having some sort of electrical storm on the East Coast, which, you know, happens quite a bit. And this guy is pumping gas. And all of a sudden, the dude inside the little mini mart or whatever sees like this bright flash of light and looks out and sees this dude like laying on the ground. And he was hit by lightning. Now, I make the joke that it doesn't matter what happens in our lives. YouTube it.
It's there. Oh, it's there. It's there. You can see this. They got the security footage from the gas station. Everything's on tape now. So you can see it at YouTube. Well, first of all, you get to see multiple angles. You get to see it from inside the gas station. But they also have an angle from the security camera from outside. And it started a fire, right? Yeah, I believe so. I didn't read about that, but looking at the video, you see something that kind of looks like it flames up. The dude was pumping gas, but he was unconscious for about five minutes. He says his muscles all over his body are really sore, and he has some blisters on his elbows. But besides that, he's okay, and it tripped the people out at the gas station because, you know, obviously he was, like, taken to the hospital and evaluated and whatever. Wait, I'm sorry. Call us if you've ever been struck by lightning. I want to talk to somebody if that's ever happened. 5701053. So he gets out of the hospital. Well, his car still needs gas. So he rolls into the gas station and the gas attendants are like, what are you doing here, bro? You're hit by lightning here last night. He's like, I still need gas in my car. No way. Yeah. So we went the next day. What are you going to do, though?
What would we do? We still have to get gas. What does he think? A lightning is going to strike twice there? Of course not. That's true, right? Safe place. Safe place for him to be. Dude. I've talked to people that have gotten electrocuted before. You know, our friend Harold, he did that. You know, he's an electrician. And this one time he was up in a ceiling. You know how the panels come out of the top of the ceiling? And he was holding on to one. He was holding on to a wire. And I can't remember what he said happened to his left hand, but he touched something. And what happened was when it electrocuted him, it made him squeeze. Right. And so now he's like holding on, you know, squeezing it. And it was his body weight, I believe. I said the only way he survived it is he kicked the ladder out from under him. That's right. So that he would fall. So he'd fall. Crazy. How crazy is that? 5-7-0. 5-7-0. 1-0-5-3. And our text is 35253. Want to do Ask Mikey? You got an advice question? That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either. Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine.
Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Welcome back. It is 9-0-2. O.J. Simpson was found guilty on Friday on a dozen charges in his robbery and kidnapping trial. When sentenced, he could get life in prison. There's controversy in NASCAR, ladies and gentlemen. Tony Stewart ended his win the streak in controversial fashion. Now, he won at Talladega, but this guy, Reagan Smith, he actually finished in front of Tony. What? But... It's one thing to get back... Hold on. Sorry. But Reagan went below the out-of-bounds line and apparently was penalized for that, giving Tony the win. Tony talks about his victory. It's one thing to get back to victory lane, but to do it at Talladega, this is one of about four places I haven't won a cup race at. And, man, talk about wanting to win. I've wanted to win here for so long. I've got so many friends down here, and Red Farmer and Donnie Allison and all these fans. Man, I mean, there's so much orange up there, and I know this hasn't been one of my favorite places on the fan side. People haven't always liked me here, but this was for those guys up in the stands today. And Red Farmer, too. Oh, Red's the best. He's one of my favorites. That's right. Now, Reagan has a comment on this illegal past. Just tear down this wall. Not Rob Blake. Isn't that what he said? Is that his comment? I thought that that's what his comment was on the whole thing. I thought he said that.
Tear down this wall. There he is. There he said that. There it is. No, I was talking about the driver. Oh, right. Take me through that last lap move. Well, I knew I was going to get one shot at him, and Paul was back there pushing me. I backed it up a little bit going into three, and I knew I was going to make my move at. And, you know, I always got told that the rule is if you get forced down there, then you're the winner of the race. On the last lap, anything goes. They always say it in the driver's meeting. That's what I was going with. I got forced down there, man. I had a nose inside of him, and I could have piled up the whole field, and I guess that would have been a cooler finish. I don't know, but I'm proud of DEI. I'm proud of the principal financial group. Everybody on this team, ECR engines were awesome. It was a great day for us. We're trying to get this car funded for next year, and, you know, second sucks. That's all I can say. We don't know right now if you are second. NASCAR has not placed you yet. Where do you feel like you should be placed? Doing burnouts out there right now. That sucks when you go below that line, dude. You know what I mean?

What you're asking for right now is the health. I'm in an honorary mood. Call me. 570-1053. Call me. Ask Mikey. Do you want advice on something? Listen, I don't have a psychology degree. I don't even have a high school diploma. I never went to high school. I did. No, no, no. Actually, the first statement was more true. Right.
You were enrolled. I was enrolled in high school, but I barely went. And I dropped out, and I got my GED. You did get an award there. I did. You were voted most likely to be on Pee-wee's Playhouse. That is true. What? What are you talking about? Most likely to be on Pee-wee's Playhouse. What is that? With Carrie? Great call, Rob. Let me explain. The year that I graduated, instead of having it be like best smile, it was like most likely to be in a Colgate commercial. We're so creative. And so instead of class clown, I got most likely to be on Pee Wee's Playhouse. That's not dated at all. No. Talk about the picture, though. That was hilarious. Yeah, the picture was me getting run over by a golf cart by Jill French, the girl that won Class Clown. There was guy and girl, everything, you know? Wow. So she was the girl Class Clown. Yeah. I wonder what she's up to. Pee Wee's Playhouse. She actually made it to Pee Wee's Playhouse.
Hey, dude, she's a clown. Yeah. She's an actual clown now. Yeah, no, she's really a clown. Yeah, literally a clown. I hired her for my son's birthday party. Yeah, dude, it's great, all right? I didn't even know I had a son. Yeah, dude, Jill French. Yeah, dude, Jill French is great. She kills it. Great. Yeah. I found out I had a son. I hired her. That's right, dude. For his birthday. She shows up. The little balloon animal. Here you go. Great, great, great, great, great, great. Twist, twist, great. Here you go. Here. She came pouring out of a little Kia. A Kia. A Kia. A Kia. 570-1053. This segment's called Ask Mikey. It's just an advice thing. I love to read. I love to read, so I read everything. Never went to high school, never went to college. GED. And I'm very conservative. Christian, right wing. Really? What else can I tell you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're fascinated by relationships and the way people interact. I really am. Yeah, you are. You're very observant. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You like spicy foods? I do. What else can we tell all about? Yeah, you have anxiety when you cook, even though there's no need. Sure. Very true. And whenever somebody says they like spicy food, I immediately feel competitive. Oh, I know. Right.
Like, okay, what are we talking? Oh, okay, really? Taco Bell. Fire sauce. That volcano taco. That stuff is real hot, though. I'm just saying, that Taco Bell stuff is really hot. Oh, you're tripping, Sean. It's nothing. I'm being serious, dude. It's like, what the hell? Remember that, you know the sauce we get from Super Sergio's? Yeah. I told Sean to put that on his burrito. He almost started crying. Dude, it was the green one, right? That stuff was so hot. You are a clown. You are a clown. You have on red floppy shoes. No, no, no, no, no. Barnum & Bailey is on the phone for you, bro. You know what? They called and they wanted to hire you. They're like, get back to work. No, you get back to work. Listen, hold on. That sauce was so... I figured out when Eddie switched the sauce, he put the real hot one, and he was telling me it was mild. How dare you, Eddie? There is no choice, bro. They just have sauce. By the way, the sauce that he's talking about is like water. It's not. It's not like water. And he was freaking out. He was like, ooh. Okay, hold on.
First of all, probably what happened was I got the bottom of the mixture for the day and it was like, you know how it's really hot at the bottom and the stuff at the top is a little bit more mild because all the chili oils and stuff. Ringling Brothers is texting you right now and saying, enough time away, bro. Get back to work. Thank you. They called. They said you left your nose over there. Oh, man. 570-1053. 570-1053. Let's take some calls. P1 Nick. Hey, how's it going? What's up, dude? All right. Okay. I need your advice on something. Saturday night, I'm at the bar with my wife celebrating for her birthday. And this guy, he said he was from Boston. The guy was... Rob. Where were you Saturday night? Rob. Out drinking heavily. I don't remember. Somewhere in South Park. I won't say the name of the place. Oh. Somewhere in South Park. Going to South Park. Going to have myself time.
Okay. Okay, so this guy, he starts talking to my wife, and then he says, hey, stop acting like a B word. So I stand up, I'm saying, what? Wait, what did you just say? And he's like, oh, oh, I wouldn't call her one. I'd call you one. And I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, excuse me there. First of all, you need to apologize to my wife. You could try and say whatever you want to me, but don't say that to my wife. What I'm asking is, should I have just punched the guy or did I do the right thing? Of course you shouldn't just punch the guy. No way. Do you just punch somebody? And in terms of what happened, listen, my thoughts on that are, when you go to a place where the idea is to consume alcohol, and I'm not saying that going to such place is bad. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that if you're going to be there, you know,
What happens when people drink? They become goofy. You know, they become drunk. And so, you know, if you go to the zoo and you step on animal droppings, you can't go, I can't believe I stepped on a, you know, penguin turd. You're at the zoo, bro. You know, I mean, stuff will happen. You know, if you go to the beach, you're going to get sand in your shoes. And so you just got a little sand in your shoes. It's, you know, there's no use crying over a little sand in your shoes. You just dust the sand off and you move on, but you don't punch the sand. It's not the sand's fault. Well, it is in this case. It is his fault. He's just, but he's doing what they do when you're at a bar. Yeah, he's playing on the beach. And so, no, I think you handled it fine. Asking him to apologize. If he hadn't apologized, what are you going to do then? You know, when you ask somebody to apologize. now there's the expectation that the person's going to apologize. If they don't, then what? You know, and you can't start swinging. Yeah, and you can never be wrong being the bigger man. Yeah. You know what I mean? That's true. I'm going to put that on a greeting card. That's right. You can never be wrong being the bigger man. Yeah, I definitely agree with that. You know, I just, I thought immediately about how much it costs for bail and is this guy really worth going to jail for, you know.
Lawsuits. There you go. I guess I made the right call. I think you did. I think you did, Nick. If I could just say one thing real quick. Yeah. Every time I'm with my wife, I start singing. We got to make that. I'm doing an advice segment right now. Yeah, but his advice was, is that okay? And I say, yeah, it's absolutely okay. I think it's a great idea. It just feels good. Feels good. P1 Scott is 43 years old. What's going on, Scott? Hey, I just had a question for you as far as basically a faith question. Okay. I just lost... my girlfriend, about two weeks ago. And she passed away from a massive heart attack. And after I found that out, I found out that she was still married in Florida. She adopted a baby boy, which I'm never going to see again, ever. And now I'm finding out more and more information about this whole situation.
You know, I'm trying to find a way to kind of heal as far as that's concerned. And I know that, I mean, because I've listened to you guys for a long time. I live up in the Bay Area. I listen to you guys online. Right on. I mean, I loved you guys when you were at KSJO. KSJO now plays Mexican music. That's true. That's true. I know. They're the swingingest Latina station in the Bay Area. They'll rock your sombrero off. They will. Dude, your sombrero will come flying right off. Big time. Big time. Well, you know what? Haven't listened to it since they changed it. That's funny. I still listen to them online. It's the weirdest thing. It's the weirdest thing. Well, what was your question specifically, Scott? And I'm sorry about that loss, bro. You know, I'm just trying to figure out how to. To pull the strength together, basically, as far as, you know, dealing with the situation at hand because, you know, she was lying the entire time. So you're just trying to, like, sort your feelings out. Exactly. Yeah. So how did you find out that she was still married in Florida? Well. In the most brief way you can, how did you find out that she was still married in Florida? She was living here with me.
working out here as a nurse. And she went back home because she told me that she had some certain things she needed to take care of. And then when I couldn't get a hold of her for a couple of days, finally somebody answered the phone and said, you know, she's in a coma. I was like, okay. And who was it that answered the phone? One of her friends, I guess. I don't know. I have no idea who that guy is. I mean, this is. How'd you find out she was married? Her daughter told me. How old's her daughter? Twenty three. And your daughter and her daughter just told you that she was married. Yeah. I mean, I told her because she filed what she told me was is she filed divorce papers and she showed me documents saying that she was divorced. Yeah, bro. I mean, honestly, I don't think there's any, you know, there's you grieve this just like anybody would grieve the loss of somebody.
In terms of her lying to you, it's just like anything, man. Trust is something that you earn, and it's like a bank account. And in this particular case, there's not going to be a resolution to it because she's gone. But something I learned fairly recently is that you don't have to have somebody be around for you to have resolution. Somebody doesn't have to be around for you to have resolution. In other words, let's say somebody was abused. by their dad or by their mom or whatever, and that person, their mom or their dad, pass away, that person that was abused by them can still find healing and still get over it and still move on without that person being there. You don't need them to move on. And she's gone, and you're going to have to deal with the fact that she wasn't being honest with you, which is a bummer.
But you can do that without her. You can move on past it without her, without confronting her and saying, why did you tell me that? And why did you lie? But I hear what you're saying. You're grieving two things. You're grieving a relationship that you thought existed that didn't. And then you're grieving the loss of her just being gone and you being left with all those questions and all those answers you don't have. But I think that you grieve it like any grieving. And the grieving process is a trippy process. I've never been through it, but I've heard from people that have been through the grieving process that you go through stages of anger. Right now, Mikey, the biggest thing, you do go through, there's a sadness, there is anger, there's so many, just a myriad of things you think about. I feel bad basically now for, you know, I feel bad for her husband too because he's doing the same thing. Yeah. Because she lied to everybody. Yeah, yeah. She deceived everybody. Sure. And that's the biggest thing that I'm going through right now. I'm hoping that in the next couple days or weeks that I have a chance to, you know, talk to him and explain exactly what happened in this whole situation. Yeah. Because, I mean, he deserves that. Well, and.
You know, I'll tell you, the biggest thing that is going to cure all of this for you is time. When you put distance between whatever it is and just the future, man, you're just going to, time will go by and it will, it'll just get healed. But you, you know, you didn't know. And that's going to be a tough thing for you to kind of work through. operating under an affair principle. You are operating on a deal where you thought that you were exclusive. And so, you know, I think that that's probably one where you're going to have to get in there and dig in with a counselor about. I think that'd be really worth it for you. Well, you know what? I'm going to a counselor this afternoon. Right on, brother. Very cool. Thank you, Scott. I appreciate the phone call. This is Nicole. She's 24. Last call. Go ahead, Nicole.
Hi, Mikey. Let me just start off by telling Ashley I'm so sorry. That sucks. Oh, thank you. Of course. I know how that is. And I felt so bad when I heard that this morning. I just wanted to tell you I'm so sorry. Yeah, if you're just tuning in, Ashley and her boyfriend, they broke up on Friday. My wife was emailing me going, what is going on? Poor Ashley. If it means anything, my boyfriend, like, thinks you're the best on this show. Hi, Mikey. Well, thank you, Mama. I appreciate that. Of course. What's your question? My question is this. I come from a Mexican family. There's about 6,000 members here in San Diego. Yeah. And I have an opportunity to transfer to New York and work out of New York for about five years, I think the contract is. And my family is giving me the hardest time. They're telling me like... that I'm abandoning them and that it's selfish for me to leave, especially because I kind of help out with bills and stuff. So I don't know what to do. Like, I feel guilty, but then I just want to get out. You know what I mean? It's funny because when I read what you were calling about up on my call screener, you know, my first, the very first thing that I thought was, well, that's pretty selfish of her family. Really? Oh, yeah, yeah. And, you know, hearing it, it's a very,
It's a very clever tactic. It's a very clever tactic on their part to say that you're being selfish. You're not being selfish. You're being an adult. Right. You're not a child. You're not a little girl. You're an adult. You're 24 years old. And what adults do is they lead their adult life. And they are not, they are not, you've heard the word codependent? Yes. Okay. If you go to New York to further your career, that is called being independent. Right. And if you stay because you are trying to appease your family and continue to pay the rent for them, then you would be classically co-dependent. Right. Which they have already...
revealed themselves as being classically codependent. Here's an idea for, who's telling you, who do you help pay the rent for? My grandparents. And like six of my cousins live with them. Okay, so six of your cousins live with them? Yes. Okay. Now, I 100% say to you, if it is in your heart to go to New York, get a great job, and continue to financially try to help your grandparents, which I think is so honorable and cool, I'd say go for it. I think that's awesome. But you are by no means required to continue to live in that house so that you can pay those bills. And that means so much that you say that because you can't help but feel like completely... guilty because they want me there. Like, I do everything. Like, I do the cooking, the cleaning, the driving, none of my cousins. Sure, they're used to it. They don't want to, I mean, nobody wants to have to go work harder to cover, you know, to cover for somebody that is doing something fair and normal and appropriate. And if you didn't, if you didn't go to New York for your career, it would be so inappropriate for you to not go.
It'd be so inappropriate. Now, it'd be one thing because I, you know, I'm talking about honorable. It'd be one thing if you guys had said, listen, we have to make an agreement here. Our grandparents, we got to take care of our grandparents. Are we cool getting together all of us? And for a year, we stick it out and we, you know, try to get some money and pay for these guys. If you had an agreement or something like that, it'd be one thing. And even in that case, I think it would be honorable for them to say, listen, this is your career. You got to go. But I'm telling you, this is your career. You got to go. Thank you so much for saying that, because that really does help me. Because honestly, you're the first person right now who has encouraged me to go. Like, even my friends, they're not like, you know, stay and help pay. But they're like, why are you going to leave your life here?
You know, this is the first encouragement. Nicole, you realize you realize I don't know you. And so I don't have a personal vested interest in you staying. All I can give you is objective advice. But the people that you're talking to, all the people that you're talking to, your friends, and it sounds like your family, they're not objective. They're giving you the opinion of somebody that is motivated by their sense of self. one quick question uh-huh okay well my cousins that live with my grandparents like that's why i'm paying what i'm paying to help my grandparents is because they're letting my cousins stay there like my cousins two of them just got out of like jail like it's not you know what i mean like the the people that are living there my family is not like good citizens you know what i mean but i told them that i said well if i go i'm not gonna help pay if you're gonna have them at the house
Because that's not fair for my grandparents. They're totally taking advantage of them. And then that's ultimately taking advantage of me because I'm paying. You sound like a great person. Yeah, makes sense. Well, thank you. And you're allowed to have any kind of boundary you want. It's your life and you're allowed to have any kind of boundary you want. My wife can say to me, I'm not going to make dinner unless you do four laps around the block. That'd be cool. And I am free to go, that don't sound too fair to me. I want dinner, and I want you to make it. But you're saying that unless I do four laps around the neighborhood, I'm not getting it? Man, I guess I'm not getting it. I don't like it. I don't like that. But if that's your bizarre sort of caveat. Yeah, what is she making? Is she making that Chinese chicken salad? That's exactly what I told my grandparents. I said, go rent the lap. Nice.

Well, they lost to Miami. That's not good. 17-10 yesterday. I was the same Miami team that was 1-15 last year. Norv, what happened? Miami played a heck of a football game. I thought they did a lot of things that created problems for us. They're a very physical team, an outstanding edge rush team. And throughout a lot of the game, we had a tough time handling it. That being said, obviously, we have to play better. We're playing one of the best teams in the National Football League. I mean, Norv, this isn't that great of a football team. When you're playing a team that is so gifted athletically, you have to think that you're going to lose. That's what I told my guys. We're going to lose. No, Norv! that old school plane with the two wings on each side. I don't even know. Forgive me. As opposed to planes that have wings on only one side. No, no, no. The two, the double-decker. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's it. Bad explanation. The old one-wing plane. Yeah, no. The double wings on each side and this guy was crazy. Like the Red Baron? Yeah, that's... Eddie, I know. That was the plane. And it was Team Oracle. I don't think I didn't notice that. Red Baron, dude. Come on, Mike. Didn't know you were out there, bro. Yeah, flying around. I tell you, I'm back to the things. Are you really? Yeah, I'm back to those goggles. That is adorable. Oh, you wear a mask? How dare you? Nice to play, Daddy. Very well done. Very well done. Sarah Palin. So you didn't like it? When they broke the speed barrier? Sound barrier? Sound barrier? Yeah, I wanted to see them break the sight barrier. Try doing that, jerk. When they broke the sound barrier. That was cool. That was crazy because you see this plane go flying by you and then like two seconds later you're deafened by this thunder and lightning. Yeah, going deaf is a blast. I've never been to an air show. Do they have like a dude that... And now... That... Skyward to the south and notice that... Do they like have that? They have a guy doing that. And...
Rob has feelings about this guy. I just don't want to offend people because, you know what, you had a great time this weekend. That's awesome. But, like, this... Before Rob says anything, I just got to let people know. Rob... Yes. ...is against stuff most people like. That is true. Yeah, I am. And he's a jerk. I am. That is true, too. I shouldn't go to these things. My brothers wanted to go, so I took them, but... Dude, it's like you going to an Avril Lavigne concert and expecting a fair critique. I wasn't a big fan of Avril for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it was a tie. It was like a bunch of girls were there. Like, what's up with that? But I mean, like the guy on the microphone, he was like, and now a big round of applause while the plane flies by. And I'm like, he can't hear you. He just broke. The barrier of sound. I think he might not hear us clapping for him. Maybe if you clap loud. You gotta do it loudly. And then he would say that. And he would go, I can't hear you. Clap loud. And I'm like, these people are really clapping. It's part of the experience, Rob. No, it's not. It's not. Who'd you go with? Gabe and Al. Did they like it?
Your brothers? Oh, yeah, yeah. They loved it. They loved it. Me and Al were kind of the ones cracking jokes, but Gabe was, you know, all about it. He's such a respectable kid, Gabe. Oh, yeah. He's the only adult. He's the only adult there. Well, when we were there, where you're watching the planes, the sun was just, like, beaming down on us, so everyone had their hand up in the air blocking the sun so they could watch the plane go by, and me and Al were going, yes, the lady in red, what is your question? And then... I saw the grossest thing ever in my life. Sean, you're going to freak out when you hear this. Oh, no. So next to all the porta-potties, there's... I don't like it all night. I'm already out. I'll start. Hang in there with me. Hang in. We'll make it through. You already said it was a hot day. I'm out. There are these little... I don't even know what you would call it. It's like a water fountain, but it's like a sink set up. Inside, right? No, they're portable, like, wash stations to wash your hands. And they got, like, the soap, and then you step on this little pedal, and the water comes out. Oh, my.
Just tidying up. Ooh, fancy. My brother Al is washing his hands over it, and the guy on the other side of it, because there's two sides, I think the water circulates because it's not hooked up to anything. It's just the standing well of water that you can kind of rinse off in. The other guy is brushing his teeth. No, he's not. I promise you. No toothpaste, by the way. No toothpaste. A toothbrush going to town. And I was just, like, shocked. I was like, should we tell that guy that there's no, like, water hookup to that thing? You know, we're on cement, and I don't see any hose going through it. So gross. So Al's washing his hands, and the guy is using the circulating water to brush his teeth with no toothpaste. Oh, my gosh. It was like, it's gross. Yeah, after that. Right after that, me and Al are sitting there, and we're like, what is that smell? And the guy right next to us decides to just change his baby right there. Like, does not care. Does not care. And I'm like, what? Is this a zoo? Did this turn into a circus all of a sudden? So, I mean. Well, I don't know about that. Where are you going to go? Where are you going to go? It's kind of an outdoor setting where people have blankets. They're sitting down.
Like a little wagon. He could have dragged them off to the side. I'm talking about where everyone sitting just was like, I'm kind of tired. I don't feel like going nowhere. So I'm just going to do this right in the middle of the crowd. Come on, guy. I don't got a problem with that. You got a kid. Be responsible. Take him around the corner. Take him around the corner. He had him on a little red wagon. Yeah. Just broke him out right there. And I'm like, well, my day's over. Like the radio flyer. Yeah. Yeah. That's so cool. So I'm watching one guy brush his teeth. The other guy just treating it like it's his house. And I'm like, this is not for me. I got no problem with the baby thing. I don't think I do. Yeah, that's not. Are you for real? I don't know. You wouldn't at least be respectful. And I'm talking about not at the edge of the crowd, not in the very front. Dead center, 40, 50 people circling us. And there's a way to get out. So it's not like, oh, it was too much trouble. I'm saying like he had a way to get out. to move, but you're just sitting there in this. I would. I would go move because I'm way too concerned with people with me being that guy. I mean, if anyone comes up to me and is like, your smoke's bothering me and they got kids that they're changing right there, I'm like, try not to change your kids. Well, I'm sure you didn't smoke when you were out there, right? No, no, no. When I did and I had one cigarette, I was over by the porta-potties. You walked out of the crowd.
And went over to the site to smoke. I smoked before I went into the crowd. Now, granted, I only had one cigarette with me. Very responsible. No, and I only had one. And I smoked one cigarette. I had a whole pack, but I didn't want to smoke there. Well, that's very courteous. Because my whole thing, for like the past four years, I don't throw my butts on the ground. Shut your face. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. Excuse me. You don't complain when I change your diaper. But that's fun. We get to play fire hose. Exactly. Completely ridiculous. Let the good times roll. Oh, my gosh. But, I mean, I got to see the Blue Angels over my house like three times this weekend. You had more of an air show there. You know what I mean? Free air show. Well, thank you. Thank you. Oh, my gosh. You guys seen those Google cars driving around? I haven't seen them, but my friend said that there's, like, cars that drive around. Oh, wow. Do you guys know Google does?
They have these cars. They have cameras on them. They drive through your neighborhood, taking pictures of your house, taking pictures of every city street. And then they put it on. So that when you go to Google and you like Google an address, you can look at the actual address on, you know, like virtually. Really? Like Google Maps? For Google Maps. Yeah. Standing right in front of the place. No way. Is that like up and running or are they building a database right now? No, it's running right now. No, I want to be illegal. What if I'm doing something in my front yard? Yeah, dude, my friend said that he looked at his house and it was like this truck he doesn't even have anymore. So they must have gone through there a while back. That seems illegal. Like, I don't know. Yeah, to take pictures of you? Yeah. In your house and stuff? It's weird. Yeah, they are. They came to my neighborhood. I saw the car drive around. It's like this little, it looks like, I think it was a VW Bug, like one of the new ones. Big, like, bubble on top. And it's a panoramic camera. And it constantly takes pictures as it drives around, you know, like, all the city streets. Click on terrain, Zeth. Weird. Up above. No, it's on Street View. It's Street View? Yeah, I just got to get down there. So you have to zoom in real far. What you do is you go to Zoogle Maps. You guys ever been to Zoogle? Google Zoogle. Zoogle Maps. Patent pending. Go to Google Maps.
And zoom in really close. Okay. And then click on Street View. Type in your address. I did. Calm down. He's yelling at me. Type in your address. I did. Okay. What? And then Street View. There are a few websites out there that have combed through all of these pictures. And they found, like, people doing strange things, like, on the streets. Or you can see people, like, through the windows of their houses. It's crazy. See, that's weird. I want to run out in front of that car. It's weird. You do what? I keep hitting Street View, and a little orange man keeps popping up. Does anybody know what's going on there? I don't know. We're looking. It's the Kool-Aid guy. It is? Oh, yeah. He's breaking through somebody's house. Oh, well, it's my house. He's breaking through right now. The boo must be drinking. Boo, are you okay? Boo, come out and wave. Shut up.
Hey, it was one time I didn't realize how it worked, okay? Come on. Paint a sign that says, hello, honey. Shut up. And let me see you holding up. Sky thought that the Google Maps pictures were live. I thought it was like a live satellite. And you could walk out and like wave. How many fingers am I holding up? So you click on the little guy in a map. Our little window pops up. OK. OK. And that will that brings up the actual street view. I am clicking. Look on it. I am. Well, I need to like write. Has it worked for you, Shawnee? Oh, boy. I'm looking at it right now. And you're looking at from the streets perspective. Yep. Yep. I just I just put in San Diego and then brought it up and then I zoomed way in and then I clicked on the little guy. Try that. Come on, man. Up above, just right in San Diego instead of our address. All right. And then zoom in. They don't have every single street. But that's why they're driving around. Now you tell us. No, no, no. That's why they're out there driving around. They're recording every street. And they have like a little car with cameras strapped to it. That's crazy. Yeah, and so if you're standing there and they take the picture, hello, you're on Google Maps. Hello. Hello, thank you. Yeah, there's lots of people. Dude, that's crazy.
You seeing it now, Skibo? Well, the house I live in now, I guess I haven't been there yet, but my old house, I put it in that address, and yeah. It's there. It's right there. Crazy, huh? Yeah, and so if you click and hold on the picture, you can drag it around, and you can look all around. Yeah, we're looking at it right now, dude. You can virtually go through an entire city, man. That is weird. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, your house is probably on there. That would really help me. Actually. Yeah? Yeah, I'm so bad with directions. And whenever I Google stuff, it always throws me because, like, I don't really get the visual. I think that's going to really help me out. Oh, yeah. Whenever I do a map now, I always, there's a place you can click on for a street view of the end address. You click on that, it puts it on the map. Then when you print it out, you have it. Oh, that is awesome. So you've got to print a bunch of pictures of the whole route and make a little flip book. There you go. What do you do? It's awesome. Yeah. Patent pending. I love this. All of it. We got this. Boston Rob's Street View flip books. Soon to come pop-ups. 571053. That's our phone number, 571053. Quick time out. Back after this. Six days a week. You guys are awesome. Better mileage tips presented by Chevron. How fast are you going right now? Really? That fast? So what's your hurry? And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. Amco. The way we were doing it was green, too. Skye, does that work, though, those smoke bombs? I heard they don't work. No, we didn't try it because...
The husband was at the point of going, okay, the black box or the bomb. And he figured, you know, living in Escondido is probably not too good to be lighting fires in your backyard during wildfire. But it's in a hole, right? It's in the hole. I don't know. It's in the hole. It's in the hole. You're going to lose an eye. No, no, it's unsafe. Blow that puppy sky high. Check it out, homie. So Saturday night, a brother was feeling good. You know, it was a little rain. You know, it was warm weather. Well, you know, cool weather, but, you know, snuggle-up weather, if you will. But anywho, so a brother was, you know, I was about to go to my new place I just moved into. And, yeah, I kind of skidded off the freeway and flew off an embankment and under a fence. Are you kidding me? Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I'm for real today, and I'm so serious. That's exactly what happened. That's not even funny right now. Are you all right? Yeah, no, I'm cool. I mean, straight up, this is what happened. I merged it onto the freeway, you know. I had a little puddle, and I was like, okay, so I won 80 sideways. I'm driving on the freeway, then I go back straight forward. Then my car was like, nah, it's not going to happen. So we went off the embankment, and I almost flipped over, but I didn't even get scared. I was just like, but I threw off the thing and put it under the fence. For real. Wow. Are you physically okay?
Oh, man, I'm all right. I jumped out. I was just mad that I missed the Kimbo fight. Well, I thought I was going to miss the Kimbo fight, although there was nothing to really watch, but that's what I was more concerned about. Did your car get jacked up? Why? No. Oh, wait a minute. Check this part out. I'm under the fence, and, you know, there's not really any scratches on my car, so I was like, okay, this is cool. My friends, they showed up, you know, big F-350s, whatever. I don't even know where they got them from, but anywho. So they pull out the straps and then the fire engine shows up. I'm like, man, I'm all right. Just back up. Get out of here. I'm about to go home. I got to go watch the fight. So anyway, the tow truck pulls over. I'm like, oh, geez, here we go. Tow truck driver was like, look, I could pull you out of there. 150 bucks. What's going on? So I'm a little, you know, I'm a little, I don't want to deal with this, but forget about it. Let's do it. So he could have pulled my car out backwards, but I was so concerned about watching the fight. He pulled my car out forward and from the right front fender. All the way past my windows, I have scratches and dents. He pulled it up over a bar. Oh, my goodness. Oh, no. Sue him. And not to mention the fact I was supposed to go hang out with a certain somebody on Sunday to go watch the Charger game, but, you know, I couldn't make it. Hold up. Wait a minute. Hold up. Wait a minute. Let's take a step back, sir. What? I don't want to say her name.
But her initials, Chantel. Wait, that's her name, Mike. Those are initials. I don't speak English. I don't speak English. What are you talking about? Oh, really? Does it rhyme with Squantel? Yeah, that's what it does. It does rhyme with that. That's weird. Damn, what up, dude? What's the word? I can't call it, man. We're just, you know, chit-chatting it up, you know, a little text message there. Dude, blow it up. Have you guys got together yet, or was that going to be the first time? That was going to be the first time. And I was like, you know what? I apologize. I got to reschedule. I got to go get my car taken care of. And I even missed the P1 podcast. I was supposed to go to that on Saturday night, too. Damn. I was manned down for quite some time. You know what I mean? All right. Anyway, then we'll keep our brother down. I'm going to be at the 28-hour show, you know, putting in workload. Okay, so get prepared because that's going down. There he is. There he is. That is so awesome. I got to go. Actually, I'm sorry to hear about you and your mans on Friday, but tell them it's nothing. I keep it moving like you all. Thank you, A.L. 2-1 Becky is on the line. Becky, you're our last call. Bring us up. I just wanted to make a comment about the girl whose family wasn't encouraging her to go anywhere, and I just wanted to let her know I was in a similar situation, and she just needs to leave that family.
