Boston Rob tried to rescue the Red Sox with a filthy 2006 rally jersey, while Eddie confessed that he hides his enthusiastic Guitar Hero playing from his wife. Caller Greg's date used another woman's Facebook photo, setting off a debate over dishonesty, privacy, and dating double standards, and a later breakfast-sandwich fight expanded into arguments about strange food combinations. Maureen McCormick described her post-Brady Bunch cocaine addiction, her impaired Steven Spielberg meeting, and her teenage dates with Michael Jackson. Kyle Turley criticized the NFL's repeated chances for Pac-Man Jones and discussed retirement and coaching, while Sean's Cowboy Flavor segment gave the show its strangest television discovery.
What happened, in order
The Filthy Rally Jersey
Boston Rob wore an unwashed Red Sox jersey from 2006 as a last-resort playoff charm while Sean and the crew recoiled at its visible stains.
Eddie's Guitar Hero Shame
Eddie admitted that he plays Guitar Hero with full rock-star moves but feels humiliated whenever his wife catches him doing it.
The Fake Facebook Face
Caller Greg said his attractive brunette date had used an unrelated blonde woman's Facebook photo, prompting a long argument about deception, privacy, stalking, and dating double standards.
Panda Panda Panda
Mikey played absurd songs supposedly recorded by foreign-exchange students in his neighborhood, and the room turned the repeated lyric 'panda' into a running joke.
Gary Coleman at the Bowling Alley
The show recounted allegations that Gary Coleman's wife grabbed a photographer's phone and Coleman then struck the man with his car after a bowling outing.
Maureen McCormick's Cocaine Years
Maureen McCormick told Mikey that she became addicted to cocaine after The Brady Bunch and once met Steven Spielberg about Raiders of the Lost Ark after staying high for three days.
Marcia Brady Dated Michael Jackson
Maureen McCormick said that at 16 she dated 14-year-old Michael Jackson, went ice-skating and held hands with him, and spent time with his family.
The Breakfast Biscuit War
Boston Rob insisted Jack in the Box could put its oversized breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, while Eddie argued that the biscuit was physically too small before the debate sprawled into bizarre tortilla combinations.
Kyle Turley on Life After Football
Retired NFL lineman Kyle Turley discussed living in Mexico, a possible return for enough money, coaching at San Diego State, and why Pac-Man Jones had already squandered too many chances.
Sean TV: Cowboy Flavor
Sean introduced the obscure rural cooking show Cowboy Flavor, whose endless theme, Dutch-oven advice, and hosts Billy and Sue Ruiz left Mikey and Eddie openly baffled.

It's 6-0-2. Good news on the fire front. Evacuation orders have been lifted. The Campo Fire is fully contained, and the one in Oceanside is 60% contained. Gosh, I hate to start the show like this, but I have to ask the question. I mean, what's wrong with the Red Sox? They get crushed again, losing to Tampa 13-4. The Rays now hold the commanding 3-1 lead in the ALCS. Rays manager Joe Maddon talks about the Rays' win. We all talk about good at-bats. We're at the point now where we are swinging at strikes. We're not expanding our strikes, which is one of our hugest goals coming into this spring training, and I'm loving that part of it. But right now, it's kind of contagious. Just like the lack of something is contagious when you're actually doing something that well, then it becomes contagious in a positive way. Well, hey, listen. Don't think it's too contagious. Double raise because the Yankees thought that. The Yankees thought that no four. Yeah. Right? Yeah. In the ALCS. They thought they were all Mr. Confident. Indians. Last year. Right? And then what happens? You never know. It's a different team, though, right now. A lot of people are playing banged up. Let's just chill out. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. I like that. Sounds like Rob's voice is messed up. You all right? Your voice okay? Yeah. I might have screamed a couple of times. Oh. Just a couple of times.
Just a couple. Okay. Just a couple. Sounds like your voice is gone. That's really weird. And then I went to this very nice spot in my life where I was just kind of comfortable with everything. You did. You went into just a numb sort of peace. Yeah. No feelings at all. No feelings. Like no feelings. You became numb. Yeah. To the world. Well, it's not over, dude. It's interesting what he's doing here today. What? He's wearing his special jersey. Oh, yeah. Today, which he only breaks out on really important. Why is it so dirty? It's filthy. It has not been washed since December 2006. It's filthy. Sean. Oh, look at Sean. Oh, look at Sean. There's like visible spills all over it. Oh, Sean's. I'm going to describe. I got to describe it. Sean's eyes got the size of saucers and he pushed away.
From the microphone. And he put his hands up to his temples. His fingertips up to his temples. And he just squeezed. And he had a look of horror. Maybe I can help him out. No. Hold on. I'm not mouthing anything to you. Calm down. I'm going to wear this jersey until something happens. Yeah. I'm not taking this. I don't like this. I don't like this. I don't like this. When is the next game? Hurry, next game. No, it is not. So you're going to wear that. All the way until the game. Yeah. He'll be wearing it again tomorrow. He'll wear it again tomorrow. The dirty... Oh, I don't want to talk about that. But if they win, you'll keep the jersey on. Hey, I just said, I'm going to keep wearing this until something changes. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. That is filthy. That is filthy. Desperate times. I mean, you can't even spot wash it with, like, a washcloth or anything. A what? Wipe the goodness off this? Okay. This thing's been to Anaheim. Three times. Really? So you're bringing out the big guns. Oh, yeah. Oh, that's so gross. This is the old captain jersey. So, Rob, is this what you, like, kind of keep? You hold this back until this. Is this sort of like your emergency? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This is your last resort. Last line of defense. This comes out. Yeah. Eddie, where is the series again?
Well, the Tampa Bay Rays have the 3-1 lead. Only need to win one more game. Where are they playing next? You got one more in Fenway, and then they go back to Tampa for the final two. We gotta win, though. Well, yeah. You're out. You have to win three in a row. Roll the dice. Here we go, dice kick. Come on, pal. Hey, listen. You were in this position in 04. It was worse, right? Wasn't it worse? Yeah, it was worse, but... You were four games down. We had different pitching to rely on, though. Like, if Dice K wins it. They had destiny in their hands, you know? I mean, this year. What do we got this year? A lot of injuries. It's not really their fault. A lot of injuries. Really? Yeah. Josh Beckett isn't Josh Beckett. What's the matter with him? He's been injured. He has? Yeah. What's hurting? His obliques. That means the butt. Oh, no. Is that where it is? No. The top part of your butt. It's the side muscles of your stomach. It's the side butt. Side butt? No, it's side stomach. It's like side stomach. It's the old SB. It's the side butt. No. It's the muscles in your stomach? On the side. Yeah. Those are the obliques. There's got to be something you could do for that. Icy hot? I'll get him a bottle. I could make it there by tomorrow. Sounds painful, though. Anybody else?
Yeah, I mean. David Ortiz, Mike Lowell sitting down. He's out for the year. David Ortiz is like, he's not even. No, David Ortiz is playing. He's playing. Not playing like him. You can tell, man. He is just off. Struggling. He is off. And it's just disheartening because you see these guys and it's like, what can they do? You know, they're playing injured. 85% of the game is mental. Adrian Gonzalez said all they need is. 100% of the time. 100% of the time. 100% of the time. Oh. It's all they need. It's okay, dude. Get back in your happy spot. Get back in your happy spot. I know. I'm trying to stay there. I'm teetering. Because I want to go and talk to him. What would you say? What would you say? I don't know what Terry Francona is doing. What's the problem with what he's doing? What do you have a problem with? I don't know what he's doing. And I watch him after the game. You want to hear from him? Yeah. Terry Francona, cut 30. And we'll try to take tomorrow. Get some guys some hacks if they need it. Get the pitchers to get loose. But then we need Dice K to get us deep and effective. We've had a difficult time. We have not had an answer for a lot of things. What's wrong with that? Well, right after that, they go...
well, last year against the Indians and 2004 against the Yankees, is this different? Are you going to rely, you know, are you going to use that to motivate this team? And he's like, well, every year it's different. You know, it's a different bunch of guys, some of them the same, but, you know, each year is different. And I'm like, dude, take that as like this building block right now and you have a day off. Sit these guys down. Get a translator and sit with Dice K and say, hey, World Baseball Classic, you were the MVP. You won this thing. Get them into that mindset. Get that ball rolling. As the skipper, you're supposed to do that. As you hear him, it doesn't matter who your favorite sports team is. What you hear in Boston Rob's voice is what we all feel as a fan of our team. Doesn't matter if it's the Chargers. Doesn't matter if it's hockey. Whatever it is, that thing that he's saying right now where he's going, please, you guys, get in your heads. You want to win? Come on, you guys. You hear it? That's just a real fan really wanting his team to win. I want to talk to them. He wants to will it. I know if I could sit them down. Okay, what would you say?
What would you say? Who am I talking to? Dice K. I'm Dice K's interpreter. Okay. Konnichiwa. No, you say, you speak English to me. I'm going to translate. I'd say Dice. Listen to me. World Baseball Classic. I believe it was 2006. My stack, I messed up today. You were on fire. You were throwing missiles. down the home plate. Guys couldn't hit on you. When you came into this league, you were the most feared pitcher. And we played at a hefty price for you. You right now are carrying this team on your shoulders. We need you to be like you were last Friday. Whatever it takes, dig deep. I want you to have... There's no word for Friday? No, there isn't. He understood that when I said it. Okay. I want you to go out there thinking you're going to pitch a complete nine. We'll be happy, and the city of Boston and the state of Massachusetts and the region of New England will be happy with whatever you can give us. You are our leader right now. Set the tone.
Konnichiwa. Big bow. Konnichiwa. Big bow. Well done. Japanese? What are we speaking here? Japanese. Yeah. I wonder. It's surprising how the Japanese language doesn't have quite a few words. They have to use the English ones. I didn't know. Very different. Who knew? How do you inject into a guy from Japan the history and the lore? You don't. You don't, right? You can't. You can't. He doesn't understand. He doesn't get it. I mean, I think he's a competitor. He wants to win, but having these lunatics... Right? Right word. Basically...
Live and die by what's going to happen tomorrow. He's never going to understand that. Talk about two different cultures, right? He's like, hey, this is just my job, bro. He's like, go out and have a good time. No. No. Honestly, you know what I was actually thinking to myself about him? I thought, man, he's got, and this was during the Anaheim, when they were here playing Anaheim. I was thinking to myself, man, he's thousands of miles away from home. He's got to miss his family. As soon as this is over, he gets to go home. Hurry. Hurry. Let this end. I wish I could do something. I could go home early. Here you go, Eva Longoria. 20 miles an hour about. Well, I hope he does it for you. I'm rooting for you.
I think Euclid should shave his goatee. Uh-uh. Didn't he do something like that, Eddie? I believe that if he... Didn't Euclid do something during the 04 season? Didn't he do something superstitious? One of those guys? No, no. Oh, you're talking about Kevin Millar. Millar. That's what it was. He shaved his head. Yeah. Yeah. Eddie, I like it. He's got this giant... Disgusting. Gravy beer? It's not disgusting. Oh, it's disgusting. It's very dense. Yeah. It's huge. It's like a... Ew. I can't even... I don't know what. I mean, it's giant. It's awesome. You got to brush it with like a lice comb because it's so thick. I want to do that for Halloween. It's like shag carpet. You are shag carpet. Pretty close. So I think you should shave it off. Yeah. I think we'll talk about a momentum. Yeah. Probably a lot of acne under there, though. That's a deal. Last night, I was thinking about this. This is tough for me. I'm sorry. This is our purity. Well, I had to go back into the bathroom and kind of just stare at myself in the mirror. Always the bathroom. No, you don't understand. I got a TV in my room.
You know what? I ate a crackhead. There's a Hot Pocket. But thank you. But I got TVs everywhere in my house going. So no matter where you walk, you can hear the game. So I got to go in the bathroom. Eddie just mouthed to Sky. Why? That's a great question. Why? You can turn them off. They have switches on them. What's the... I mean, you watched it in one room, right? Yeah. No. What? You... I can't watch it in one room. Okay. It's the whole superstitious thing. He's got to watch it in different places. And he feels his movement around him. Eddie, it's crazy. Let me ask one question. My buddy Richie last night texted me and said, tell Al to get in the bathroom. Did you do it? No. You thought that was ridiculous? What am I, crazy? Yeah, exactly. See? Well, we hadn't done anything good. If we had just hit a home run or something, I would have told him. Eddie. Here's what I don't understand. Once the superstition doesn't work anymore, it's null and void. You guys were down like 11 runs last night. Then why do you continue to do your goofy superstitions if they don't work? They're not goofy, first of all. Wrong term. They're not working. Second of all, Eddie's right. They don't work. I'm sticking and moving. That's why I got TVs on in three different spots in my house. I find a hot spot, man.
It didn't work. It hasn't worked. Listen, I'm going to keep searching until I find it. Oh, my God. If it isn't going well, they're obviously very down in the series. Why don't you do something radical? I did yesterday. Have Sky come over. Oh, no. Do something radical. No, I wouldn't. Watch the game with Ashley. Do something different. Do something radically outside of the box. Have her bring Sammy over. Oh, jeez. Sacrifice it. Make some dinner and you guys, you know. Not playing Sammy through that nonsense. You can't eat with something like that around. That is true. That's true. Well, I wish you all the good luck, sir. Yes. Either way, it's almost over. No. It might look like it's almost over. I'm saying, you know, either way. Either they win and they go on the World Series. That's almost over. Or they lose and they're done. Yeah. I get to find that serenity breath. I do. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. He needs to go to rehab. The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. I do not know the difference. He doesn't. He can't figure out the difference. Does not have that kind of wisdom. Doesn't know the difference. Brutal. Let's see. 570-1053 is our phone number. And our text number is 35253.
The phone is guarded by Zethi and Oates, and the text is guarded by Boston Rob. So you've got to make it through that line of defense, and then you're in the open. You can run for a touchdown after you get through that. Awesome. Key masters. No. That's right. They are the key masters. So let's go around the room to a really quick introduction of everybody and who everybody is, and then we'll get started. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I am 38 years old. Don't like where we are technologically. Feel like every place we are technologically is caveman days. I feel like it's going to be when Jake's kids are around that it'll be the stuff I want. I don't like wires plugging into the wall to get power. I think that's so dorky. And I can't believe we do it. I can't believe that anything electronic weighs more than five ounces. I can't believe that. A television? Weighing more than five ounces, it shouldn't. A computer, come on now. I think that every single device should be universal to every other device. I think we should be in our car, and everything should be hands-free to the point where we go, I'm talking to Eddie, and we go, Eddie, what was that song by the Buggles that was the first video ever played on MTV? And Eddie would say,
Video killed the radio star? And we go, yeah. And we're like, let's listen to that. And you go, do you have it? And I go, well, we can get it real quick. And so we go, order on. Go ahead, please. The Buggles, video killed. And we're like, and let's say Eddie goes, I don't know. It was just something video killed. We go, it's something video killed. Video killed the radio star? Exactly, yes. Download. And it downloads and we listen to it. Nice. That's where I want us to be. Awesome. We're not quite there yet. We're not quite there. Eddie is our producer and our sports guy. He's 35 years old, and he plays a mean guitar hero. Oh, gosh. Good day yesterday. What does that mean? I unlocked a Pearl Jam song, and I rocked that house, man. I mean, I really explored the space. Yes. Until my wife came home and kind of ruined it. Oh, no. It's not her fault. It's my fault. I'm humiliated. I'm 35 years old. Yeah. Playing Guitar Hero. Yeah. And I don't want her to see me do it. Yeah. I think that she thinks I'm kind of cool. Yeah. And now I don't. I think she's losing it. Right.
She walks in and sees me playing. I mean, I rock. Oh, obviously. Your rock moves. I think she judges me, and I don't want that. I don't want her to think I'm cool. Just tell her. Don't judge me. Judge my rock moves. I need a door for my game room so that I can lock her out or something. So you can rock out in peace. Thank you. You need a rehearsal studio. Well, I don't, Mike. I'm that good. Now I've got natural ability. That's right. Self-taught. Self-taught. Okay. He's like Eddie Van Halen. He was self-taught. Yeah, I really am. Yeah. It's pretty cool. Wow. Awesome. It was a good day, though. Oh, good. I'm glad. I earned a lot of money for the band. That's nice. So good. You get new costumes? I bought a new guitar. You did? Yeah. What about costumes? Are you doing good with like... Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I play only one particular character because I think the other ones are stupid. Yeah. Clearly. What's your character look like? He looks like me. Yeah. He's kind of big and studly. Awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Interesting. And he's got these rocking long hair. Yeah, he does. Nice. And when he first starts out, you know, he dresses in like stonewash. He doesn't really get it. And he just upgrades. He's now playing. I play him in shorts. Nice. Obviously.
Love it. I just bought a white vest for him, which is really cool. It looks good. You have to see it. You should start dressing like your guitar hero. Oh, that'd be great. If I could afford it, I would. That's right. It's special. Skye does not play guitar hero. She's 30 years old. She'll be 31 next. Her birthday's coming on. That's right. One week. From today. From today, Mike. From one week from today. From today, sucker. That's right. Yeah. One week from today. Yeah, put it on your calendar. It will be October. It's on mine. October 22. I'm sure it is. Let's talk about Sky's calendar for a second. Go ahead. I explored it yesterday. You did? Yeah. Explored the space. She keeps a calendar here at work. At work. And she writes things on there like reminders on like weekend for weekend stuff. And I'm like, Sky. You're not here on the weekend. Why would you have that on there to check for, like, stuff you do on Saturday? And she writes her birthday on her calendar to remind her, I guess. Really, so next week she'll come and go, oh, what's going on today? Oh, birthday. Happy birthday, me. Surprise. It's the strangest calendar. What's going on in a couple of days? Oh. Awesome. There it is.
Shawnee O'Boy is our sound effects guy. He's 38 years old, and he's wearing a white undershirt right now. Oh, thank you. That's right. He's got on his favorite headphones, and he plays sound effects for us. Sound effects. Play them. Give me one. There it is. He is in the San Francisco Bay Area right now. He's there every day. He broadcasts them up there, although we would love it if he was here. How great would it be if that Shawnee old boy had a little microphone set up right over there and was here all the time? Rob strolls in in his dirty jersey. Can you imagine? Yeah. And the reason why he's not here. Ashley is our assistant producer. She's 25 years of age. Like her today. That's right. Look at that. Wind-blown hair. Yeah, there you go. Look at that. Thank you. It's nice of you to say. She's a model. That's right. Oh, I accept. She's from the Bay Area. And she accepts that compliment. Oh, you know. JCPenney model. That's right. How about that? How about it? Catalog only, not online. Oh, yeah. Obviously. Boston Rob's engaged to be married. He's 25 years old. He is from Boston. And man, does he love any sport franchise from New England.
The Bruins are a... My brother's a huge Bruin fan. I like going to the games because of the fights. Because I fight there? Yeah. But I never 100% understood hockey. Well, there he is. 570-1053. Give us a call. And then there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. Rosie. That's right. Rosie. Rosie. Our text is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. Sky says, good news with the fires. We're kind of getting this thing under control. Yeah. It was, you know, yesterday morning was pretty crazy. We had the Campo fire. We had the one in Oceanside. And then.
Later in the day yesterday, a fire broke out in Forest Ranch. Another fire broke out at Camp Pendleton. So it's kind of crazy. But as of this morning, looking good. The Campo Fire, 100% contained. The Oceanside Fire, about 60% contained. All evacuees are allowed to go back home. But keep in mind that we still do have that red flag warning in effect until about 10 o'clock tonight. And it will be quite a bit warmer today as well. It is. It's going to get hotter. Oh, yeah, they're saying about the low 90s inland. What is that noise? What was that? I'm trying to... I think it was something here. I think, like, the fire alarm here is going off. Oh, really? Evacuate! Evacuate! It's probably just a test. Run, Sean. Run. A stop, drop, and roll. Shawnee, do they do that? Do they do tests? Every once in a while they do them, yeah. Usually not at this time, though, so... Yeah, I wouldn't think. I'm just going to look and see. They've done them here, and it's always an accident. Yeah, that's true. Somebody opens the wrong door. P1, Jorgito? Jorgito. Oh, Jorgito. There you go. How are you, Jorgito? I'm good about you, man. You guys rock, man. You guys are the best. Thank you very much, man. What's up? I'm calling to support Boston Rob, man. I totally get him. I understand him. I'm a Charger fan. I got season tickets.
Even when I go to the games, I have to record the game, and then I have to watch it during the week. Otherwise, they don't win next week. It's happening. I don't watch the game, and then they lose. And like he said, you've got to find the hot spot. You've got to find what works, either watching it in one TV or one TV. But, Jorjito. Jorjito. But, Jorjito. Mijo. But what happens when you do it that way, and then they lose? Doesn't that convince you that you've done it wrong? It's superstition. You've still got to do it, man. You got to do whatever you can. See, that doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense because it's not. Once it's over, it's over. Yeah, then you got to come up with a new superstition. Yeah. Because if you do it again. Sometimes you got to come up with something new. And I got a nasty jersey like the one that Boston Rob has on right now. Mine is not nasty, sir. It's not nasty at all. This thing is sweet. Hey, Jorjito. Jorjito. Jorjito. I have a question. Yeah. Did you wear that jersey last week? Yeah, it's the one that I always wear to all the home games. Okay, cool. As long as you wore it last week, we're good to go because they won. He didn't hear that. What's up? I said, as long as you wore it last week, we're good to go because they won. Keep wearing it. Exactly. All right, dude. All right, man. You guys rock. Thank you, brother. P1 Scooby. What's up, Scoob? I want to say that I think...
Well, first of all, I want to say I feel for Rob. And then I want to say, I think, Mikey, when you first initially talked about you wanting the Dodgers and the Red Sox in the series or whatever, you inadvertently jinxed both teams because now they're both 3-1. Oh, no. Wow. Mike, way to go. You do jinx a lot of teams a lot of times. Especially with baseball. Especially with baseball. And Zito. Oh, yeah. I think every time you talk about, you know, Rob's... jinxing stuff or, you know, his little superstitions. Maybe I'm a cooler. Ooh. Yeah, exactly. I could be a cooler. Talk about how you're going for the Rays and the Phillies now. Yeah. Yeah, hey, listen, you know, I know that it's a really weird thing, but I think I'd like to see the Rays and the Phillies in there because... Honestly, you know, Rays, I mean, they've been traditionally the worst team in baseball. Yeah. I think it would be kind of cool to see it go from worst to first. Different and exciting. Now you know what's going to happen? If they win, he will be convinced, and then I'm going to be held accountable for some of this screwballism. You can't win. P1 Mark. Hey, Mikey, how's it going? Good, man. What's up? Well, I'd just like to say goodbye. I'm taking off for a month. I won't be able to hear you guys. Where are you going? I'm going over to Europe. Oh, good day, mate.
Just let her. Just let her. Hey, make sure you say hi to all the fine folks in Sydney, will you? I was way off. Actually going to watch the Chargers play in London. Is that right? Yes. Oh, dude, that's cool. You're lucky. All right, have fun, brother. All right, thanks a lot, guys. You got it. Enjoy Tokyo. That's right. 570-1053 is our number. And our text is 35253. And, Eddie, there was a pretty big trade yesterday in the National Football League. That is correct. Yeah, well, the trade deadline was yesterday. And, you know, the Cowboys have been having some hard times, obviously, with Tony Romo and Pac-Man Jones and all that stuff. So they decided they were going to go out and trade for...
The Lions wide receiver, Roy Williams, which they already have a Roy Williams on their team, so I don't know how that's going to work out with their jerseys and stuff. But anyway, they traded in for a, this is outrageous, a first, a third, and a sixth round draft pick. Wow. That is a lot. That's a lot. For a wide receiver. That's a lot. Now, when you look at their offense now, it's disgusting. Yeah. Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, Patrick Creighton. Marion Barber. Marion Barber, Jason Witten. Like, that's not fair. And this Miles Austin kid is playing really well. Like, it's crazy. Now, are you talking about Miles Austin Green? He used to play David Silver. He's a totally different person. Different guy. That's not who I was thinking of. Now on the Terminator, Mike. Is that right? Yeah, yeah. He's on the Terminator. Scott, you still watch that? Yeah. Oh, it is a great show. It's, Sean. Great show. It is extremely enjoyable to enjoy. Yep. I've heard from my friend Eddie that it is easily one of the cheesiest and dumbest shows ever to be on film. I think the last episode may be my last. I think I'm done.

I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Let me let Ashley see this picture of my wife from 1985. How do you like that? Oh, man. Ashley's jaws dropped open.
Wow, she is in shock. Like, right now, Ashley is straight up in shock. In shock. Oh, my gosh, that is fantastic. I abducted that from her mother's house. A framed picture of my wife. It's, you know, obviously a high school portrait. Skye, how big are those bangs? Like, how tall are those bangs? That is some aqua. Oh, gosh, yeah. I don't know if... Yeah, they're not a full foot, but they're definitely more than six inches. Oh, yeah. Yeah. For sure. How did one do that? Well, you had to take the hairspray. You'd put a brush behind the bangs, pull it up, hairspray, and then blow dry. Really? And then you make it into a little wall, a little fortress that rests on it. A barrier. Yeah, a barrier, really. Thank you. What was the brush apparatus like? It didn't matter, or it had to be a certain thing?
Yeah, it was best to have the circular ones. The round one? Yeah, the big round. I think that is McCain's plan for the borders. Thank you. That dude, no Mexican could get through that. Forget it. He's playing tonight in L.A. with Jay-Z. Well, the NFL suspends Pac-Man Jones for at least four games for his latest incident. Commissioner Roger Goodell is going to assess his situation after the four games. Here's Commissioner explaining why the NFL has suspended Adam Jones. Obviously something is not going correctly. We just recently stated him six weeks ago. Now we have another incident within that period of time. Either he's not getting the message, I'm not communicating it properly, or he has some other issues going on that we would like to understand better. But until he gets those issues addressed and we understand them better, I felt it was appropriate to suspend him indefinitely. You don't mess around, man.
That new commissioner, Roger Goodell, he doesn't mess around. He's like, let's do this. I like it. New sheriff in town. P1 Moto Lord, what's up? What's up, y'all? How's it going? Good, dude. I got a question for Big Eddie. Eddie, what's up? Hey, bro. You say you're a 49ers fan, but yet you constantly talk about the Chargers. I'm not feeling any love. Oh, my gosh. Really? I mean, really? That actually elicited a hearty laugh from Eddie. Really? I don't know if you know this or not. paid to talk about the Chargers. I'm on the Chargers broadcast, bro. So what? Radio in San Diego. Well, yeah, we're in San Diego, you know. Yeah. I know. I hear you. Hey, what did I tell you to do? Stay true to the guitar hero. I got an idea for you about your wife. What's that? My girlfriend is 26 years old. I'm 42. I have two sons, 11 and 10, and we rocked the guitar hero. I was a little afraid about telling her about it, so we made up a little show one day.
And we put on a little show for her. Look at you. And we all dropped to the floor. Look at that. That is awesome. There you go. See, he can blame it on the kids. Yeah, you have kids. I don't. Yeah, you've got to borrow those kids, dude. Oh, that's true. Got to borrow the kids. Me and Rob can come over. A couple of randoms. That's right. Hey, thank you, man. P1 Chris, you there? Yeah, I'm here. What's up, Chris? Hey, Mike. I was just looking for some feedback on this idea I have to propose to my fiance. Okay. I was thinking about taking a clamshell and putting the ring inside of it and taking her to the beach and pretending I'm stepping on it or something and pull it up. Hey, you can't say that. You cannot say that word. Well, I liked where that was going right up until that point. But, yeah, he cursed. You can't put that word together with giggles. No? Uh-uh. On its own, is it fine? I don't know. Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah, you really shouldn't be saying that one on the air at all. Hey, bro, if I talk to you again, do you promise not to say any curse words? Yeah. Okay. Oh, well, that was promising. Yeah, it didn't sound very convincing. He's like, don't get your panties in a bunch, Mike. Yeah. If you're lucky.
Well, you keep your fingers crossed, Mike. Yeah, right? Yeah, dude, sorry. You can't say any bad words. Yeah, I think that's a very original idea, the little clam thing. And, you know, girls think that kind of stuff is real sweet. Let's ask the ladies. Yeah, I love that idea. I mean, it sounds like, you know, it's definitely something that's going to let her know you put some thought into it. And that's important. And it's kind of cute. And then maybe you could do the whole Richard Gere thing. You know, Julia Roberts, pretty woman with the clamshell. Eddie has the lame chills on his face right now. It'd be so cute. Yeah. Ashley, what do you think? I think it's a great idea. I'm kind of confused as to how you're going to plant the shell prior to going to the beach.
Well, I think he'll just have it in his pocket and then he'll pretend like he actually picked it up off the ground. I think you should plant it. What beach is that? No, I think that's great. I love it. Yeah, I think Skye hit on it when she said that ladies like to see that you put thought into it. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, but Skye, like... picked out her ring and told the boo to propose. That's true. That's true. But then he did the proposal all on his own. Yeah, he put it in a clamshell and he was like, hey, look at what this is. Ever seen this before? Here's what you're going to do, boo. No, he did great. You're going to write me a letter telling me how special I am. Yes. Shut up. As you give me a toast. That's right. Thank you for the call. I hope that helps, Chris. We like it, all right? What'd they do to it? He's only got one arm. What do you expect from the guy? That's true. That is true. What are you saying? Inappropriate comment maker. OK, so they were doing a show in Detroit last week and the frontman for Def Leppard, I guess, you know, they got like the Stanley Cup there to, you know, kind of. I don't know why Def Leppard was having the Stanley Cup on stage, but they like did to, you know, show all of Detroit. Oh, look at this. Detroit. Is that like the current world champions of the world in hockey? What do you call it? World champions. Yeah, so I guess the idea was that the lead singer of Def Leppard would take the Stanley Cup out on stage and hold it up and then put it down on stage. Right. Well, I guess he's not very familiar with hockey and didn't know what side was up and what side was down. And so when he put it down, he put it down upside down. Oh, come on.
Didn't understand why people weren't as excited. Oh, really? Like, what happened? How do you not know? Yeah, I mean, what is not from Earth? Yeah. He doesn't know how cups work? He put the Stanley Cup upside down on the stage in Detroit last week. Does he fill his beverages on the bottom? Yeah. Dude. This is so hard to drink out of. I know. Figured out. And who was it and when was it, Skye? It was yesterday morning. And it is the owner of DZ Aiken. Whoa. Steve Aiken. Whoa. Yeah, so I guess he was. I love DZ Aiken. That's what I do. It's so good. Awesome. He was at the restaurant yesterday morning. His son was home, I guess, waiting for a furniture delivery. And the housekeeper was also in the home, too. I guess the front door was open, but the screen door was closed. And three masked men came in and hit the housekeeper over the head, ripped the phones out of the wall, tied up the son and the housekeeper, bound their wrists and ankles with tape, and demanding to know the location.
of the dad's safe. I guess the robbers believed there was a safe in the house, whether they had previous information or were just guessing. Who knows? But they were demanding to know the location of the safe and got the location and ended up busting the safe open with a crowbar. Steve Akin says he estimates that he lost about $100,000 in cash and jewelry. They weren't going for other stuff. They were going straight for the safe, straight for cash and jewelry. It's not like they were ripping TVs off the walls or anything like that. It seemed like these robbers knew what they were after and were going straight after it. So the police are assuming, obviously, that he was targeted because of who he is and what these robbers somehow found out about him. How old is the son? It doesn't say. I was wondering that, too. But they did say the son was home waiting for a furniture delivery. So I'm assuming that he's older. But I'm not assuming a three-year-old would wait home for a furniture delivery.
But, you know, the son managed to break free and then, you know, called. But they still don't have anyone in custody or anything. Description? No. They're not given that either? No, not here. They just describe him as masked gunmen. Hmm. Yeah. That's creepy. That is a creepy story, man. Dude, we talk to a lot of you guys. I mean, everybody in the construction industry, really. They're all listening to us. I love it, dude. What time does your day begin? I work great there. No way. I drive from San Bernardino to San Diego. Oh. Since you just got off work? I just got off work. I'm on my way home. What time you get home?
I get home about 8 o'clock. Go to sleep right away, or do you, like, stay awake a little bit? Start to wind down a little bit. And then what time do you fall asleep? 10, 10.30. Wow. And then what time are you up? I don't sleep very much. About 1 o'clock, 1.30, sometimes 2. Wow, man. Yeah. So, like, four hours of sleep a day, max. Yeah. I don't know how you do it. Uh-uh. Uh-uh. Yeah, I need at least 40 hours a day. At least 40 hours a day of sleep. I'm going to feel good. Hey, bro, your categories are potpourri, Aerosmith, and Divas. What do you want? You got it. Your potpourri question is, in the song All Summer Long by Kid Rock, he says, sipping whiskey out of the bottle, not thinking about What? Not think about what? Tomorrow. You got it, dude. What would you like to say? Well, everybody seems to love it. Great song. And it makes me angry because it's a total ripoff. And I don't, I mean. Of what? Oh, good. You're so creative. You can rip off these other songs. Yeah, he's basically doing. What is that? Warren P. Vaughn or what? I don't know. Werewolves of London. Yeah.
And another song, too. Yeah, yeah. And me and Missy were talking about the other day. It upsets her, too. Yeah, it, like, upsets me every time I hear it. Doesn't every rap song in the history of rap sample from something? But this, like, isn't a sample. He's basically, Van Halen used to say this. They'd say that? Yeah, they'd say it, and then they'd vomit. That's weird. I don't understand it. Must have been an Ed's drinking days. Well, verbatim. What they would say is, as long as you're doing an old song that's a hit, you're halfway there. And that's what Kid Rock did. He basically took songs that were already popular. He could do it with every single song, I guess. What a great tune. Love this song. Crank it up, Mike. Let's see. 5701053 is the number. Text number is 35253. Let me tell you, man, Amco is the best. I send my own family to Amco, and that's why I'm sending you to Amco. If I can send my family there and do it trusting that they're going to take care of my family, then I can do it with my P1 listeners, and that's why I'm doing it. If you have a check engine light on in your car, go down to Amco and they will diagnose it for free. If any additional diagnosis is needed, just mention that you're a P1 and you'll get 10% off all repairs. Pretty awesome. They don't want to fix what isn't broken. That's a key. That's a real key. Because a lot of times what will happen is you'll take it to the dealership. If something goes wrong with your car, you take it to the dealership.
Even if you didn't buy it at that dealership, you take it to whatever the make or model of your car is. And what they do is they take your car hostage. They take it and they go, yeah, you know, we're going to have to hold it. Take it a couple days. Give us a few days. Not Amco. Take it to Amco. You don't even need an appointment. You get in, you get out. And that's what they want to do. Very reliable place. Amco is double A. Beep, beep. M-C-O. Why would you take it anywhere else? I'm ready to make a difference in life. Rock 105.3 Traffic. Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Looking pretty typical still out here on our freeways. No big major problems, but things are a little bit tougher here at the South Bay and the 5805 northbound, jammed up out of Chula Vista, up in a national city on both these freeways. 805 slows again from the 15 off and on in the North Park. And now you're slowing down again out of Crinimesa, heading up over that 52. West in the 94 King Freeway, a little tight from Kelton now to the 805. The westbound 8, a brief glitch right around Lake Murray, and then you're on your way into Mission Valley. South until the 15, though, but that's pretty tough out of Escondido now. Off the 78th of your Rancho Parkway, slows a bit again through Poway down to Mercy Road, and then jams up again in the right-hand lanes as you take that Miramar Road exit. The coast to right, South 5, looking great here down the North County shoreline. South 163, though, that's a busy one coming past Washington through the park in the downtown. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. I am so scared, confused, and compelled. KC, San Diego's Rock. It's another Mikey moment. Eddie, what do you get at Starbucks? What do you order? Mocha Frap. Mocha Frap. No whip. What do you get, Rob? I go to McDonald's. What's Starbucks? Yeah. Starbucks. What am I, J.K. Rowling? Thank you. Who am I, Daniel Radcliffe? I can't afford that kind of stuff. What do I own, Bumblebee Kona?
I'm not David Beckham, all right? What? These are all rich people. Yeah, extremely rich. I own Jerome's furniture over here. What am I, Jerome? What am I, Siegfried? It's a Mikey show at 714. CNN is saying this morning that there are reports that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting a divorce. The Chiefs were unable to trade tight end Tony Gonzalez before the trade deadline, and Gonzalez is not happy about it. See, what's he thinking, Eddie? I mean, what's he wanting? He said before, a couple weeks ago, that he wanted to get traded, wanted to go to a contender, have a chance to...
win something. And a lot of reports were having him go to the Giants. And obviously the Chiefs weren't able to work out any kind of deal. And so he's still in Kansas City, not happy. Oh my. 570-1053 is the phone number. You can call and you can talk about anything you want to. P1 North County is on the line. Hey, what's going on, guys? Hey, man. I got a little beef with Sean. I know he's a proclaimed bad tipper. I think he got karma the other day at Michael's with having to deal with the douchebag clerk. And I think that kind of comes around to how he goes out to the restaurant. And the universe just came back and got him at the counter. I think we revealed that during our press conference yesterday for sure. For sure. When we were asking Sean questions about making a scene in Michael's. Total scene. I don't know that we made a scene. Ah, shout out. Oh, no, shout out. Not necessarily made a scene, but I will say that we just went to the other Michaels that we normally go to and everything was fine. Well, you dumped out an entire bag of stuff on the counter. I think that's making a scene. Yes, all over the counter. That's a scene. Definitely making a scene, yeah. I don't know about that. Not by definition. Yeah, I mean, if I was in that store, I'd stop and stare. Yeah, definitely. Or call the police. I would disagree with that. I'd shriek. I respectfully disagree.
Point and go, what's going on over there? Look at those crazy people. Yeah. Thank you for the call, P1 North County. Peace. P1 Greg, what's up? What's going on, guys? What's up? So, all right, I got a little thing that happened to me. I went out on a date with someone I met on Facebook. Oh, hello, face space. Yeah, which was a little weird to begin with, but, you know, I talked myself into it, and I thought everything was going to go fine. Yeah, it's weird because that means that if you didn't know them, they were a friend of a friend. Which does happen. Facebook is more, it's not like MySpace where you can meet strangers. Facebook is all about people that you know. But we were talking about this the other day, that somebody knows a friend of yours. And so they're like, oh, you look cool. I'll be your friend too. Because you know somebody, so they know somebody that you know. So you went out with a chick that knows someone you know. It was actually like two more degrees removed. It was like a friend of a friend of a friend. So almost a total stranger. And the connection to that, it got really tenuous. But the weird thing about it, she shows up on the date and she's nothing like her picture. I mean, not just a little bit. I mean, a completely different picture. Now, let's talk about how different.
Please. All right. Like she lost weight or like. Like she got a haircut. She got like a facelift. Yeah. It was like she'd cut out a picture from a magazine, scanned it in and used that. Oh, my gosh. Oh, she's that girl. Okay. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Describe. Now, describe. First, describe the picture. So, it was like a blonde girl, blue eyes, you know, just naturally posed. And she's very beautiful. How old? How old? I'd say mid-20s in the picture. Okay. Blonde, very attractive, blue eyes, very natural-looking pose, and in her 20s. So, you know, imagine my surprise when a 30-year-old brunette shows up to dinner. What? Oh, my. Not unattractive in any way. I mean, you know, absolutely beautiful woman, but, you know, I had to ask her about it. I'm like, what? why is your picture on your Facebook site so totally different? Yeah. What'd she say? She didn't really have an answer. She's like, well, I just thought I'd put that up there. What? That's normal. That is not normal. That's normal. Did you let it...
Is this like in the Titanic when you kept telling us that everyone was okay? Everyone was fine. At the end of the movie when all of the dead people were in the water. But they were floating in the water. They're resting. They're fine. They're fine. But they had ice covering their face. They were hot. Now they're... So they're fine and this chick is normal. Totally normal. People do this like all the time. Where is it in the rule book? Show me the Facebook rule book that says you have to put up a picture of you. Thank you. I got Brad picked and Angelina Jolie is all my picks. That's right. Pictures of you in Nambia. Yes. Superimposed very poorly, by the way. I'm not good at Photoshop. Mine's of former St. Louis Cardinal Willie McGee. Weird. Weird. Weird. I think it's cool. Weird. I didn't see that one coming. Greg? Yeah. Well, please tell me that she didn't say to you, I don't know, I just did that, and that you let it end there. Honestly, I was at a loss for words.
It's one of the things where you're so confused. You know, say like you call Radio Shack and you ask for something and you give a completely different answer. And then you're confused and you just hang up. Yeah, that's not me. I'm not that guy. I'm that chick. You are? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'll be like, okay, I must be too stupid and I'm not understanding, so I'm just going to hang up. Rather than be embarrassed. See, I'm Inspector Clouseau. I have to go. Eddie just showed me a picture of the picture that he uses on face space of the guy from the St. Louis Cardinals. And he is, well, he's darker than Vijay Singh. That's all I'm going to tell you. Anyway, I cannot let that go. If I said, hey, I noticed that your picture on face. book is of a blonde in her mid-20s and you are a brunette in your early 30s. What gives? And then she says, oh, I just put that. I cannot leave it alone. I cannot leave it alone. I have to dive in and I have to say, oh, hey, back to that thing. How come you did that? You know, I have to. And what's even stranger is that
She was attractive. Like the real deal girl that shows up is pretty, yet she was using a totally different picture. Yeah, that is kind of odd. Yeah. That's crazy. How was dinner? I mean, it was fine. I was afraid of the same thing. I was afraid of some 500-pound girl showing up and just eating all the food in the restaurant. Okay. So the date went good? Strangely, yes. So did you make plans to see her again? You know, tentative ones. I haven't called her back yet because I'm still trying to, I'm still hung up on this. Ashley. I have a question. Okay. Was everything else that she said on her Facebook and that you had seemed to know about her the same, accurate, like her interests and maybe her personality and all that was legit? It did. It all matched. Like, you know, she lists the books and we talked about the books that were on her thing. You know, the music, that all matched up just fine. It was just the picture. Is it me? Because am I the only guy that's going, man, that's really unusually odd, you know, extraordinarily odd. I think you are the only one that thinks that. I don't understand what the big deal is. It's so weird. I use the word psycho.
Yeah. Well, I think it's weird she didn't give an explanation. She didn't give an explanation. It'd be one thing if she was like, oh, yeah, you know, I do that because, like, I don't know. I want people to focus on the person inside and not the picture. I think this guy is weird. You do? And I'll tell you why. Tell us, Eddie. He didn't recognize that it was Alyssa Milano's picture. He was really expecting Samantha from Who's the Boss to show up. You never know. I mean, come on, guy. It's weird. It's weird. Yeah. To say the least. Well, because normally when something like this happens, it's like somebody puts an older picture because maybe they've aged, unfortunately, or they gained weight. Yeah, that age picture is the picture I saw of Rebecca for the first time, you know, in 1985. And the bangs. I'm actually going to use that as my Facebook picture. That would be awesome. Me too. So when you meet someone in a situation like that, it's kind of almost understandable. You know, you don't have to ask them why because it's kind of obvious what's going on there. But with this, like, cuckoo, dude. I know. You need a therapist to get in there and work on what's going on. That's not normal. No. Oh, you know what I think you should do? What's that? Trace the friend's back. Find someone that knows her.
I like that. Because if it's Facebook, someone, you know what I mean? Like, you just trace it back to someone that knows her. Find a mutual friend. They have a thing on there that says mutual friends. You click on it, it shows you pictures of people you both know. Yeah, that's got to be the next one. Ask somebody that knows, you know, both of you guys. Yeah, why is your friend crazy? Yeah. Say to them, hey, do you know, you know, what's her name? Crazy. Crazy? Is her name crazy? Yes. What is her name, Greg? Just first name. All right, it's Erica. Okay. Ask a friend of yours, hey, what's up with Erica? And if they say, what do you mean? Say, have you seen her Facebook page? And if they say, no, let me check that out. Just find out what is up with that. It's odd. 570-1053. Text is 35253. It's odd. Listen on the air. We'll take calls. All right, bro? Sounds good. Thank you. P1 America is on the line. Yes. Go ahead. You're on the air. I wanted to say that. Maybe she's like under a witness program or something. The witness protection program? I think that's what it is. She's running from the mafia or something. Yeah. Yeah. Write it down. Let me tell you something. That is a more appropriate answer than anything I can come up with. Is she a friend of ours? If it's not that, then she's crazy. If it's not that, something's really mentally deficient.
Probably. Her name is crazy. Yeah. Her name was crazy. Yeah, it was. Why are we all, you know, why are we freaked out if that's her name? It's in the name. In the name. P1 Nathan says, we're overreacting, you guys. Overreaction. Go ahead, Nathan. Yeah, I think you guys are totally overreacting about this. I think... That was an overreaction. There's a lot of reasons for someone not to have their real picture on the internet. Okay, give me some. Well... You don't want people stalking you. Yeah. Predators. They know what you look like. They can come stalking just because they like the way you look on the Internet. But we are talking about Facebook here, you know. And so let's say that, okay, somebody is a stalker and their goal is to go out and stalk. And they decide that they're going to start using the interweb to do their business. So 2000. Yeah. Well, first of all, Facebook would be a weird place to do it because it's all about friends. Yeah. Or is it? Or is it? And but let's say you decided you were going to do this on Facebook. How random, you know, like how random. And if that's the case.
If you're really so freaked out that people are going to be stalkers, are you going to be on Facebook and MySpace? Exactly. No, you're going to be living in a bubble. What's the point of having Facebook if you're not even going to have your picture up there? Like, seriously, Nathan. Face. Facebook. It's like... Well, they might want to go on there to talk to people. Yeah, but, but, but, sir, on the phone, you have to understand. Nathan is Nathan. Sweet man on the phone. Sweet Nathan. Listen, you gotta, you gotta understand that you're contradicting yourself because this girl met. up with a guy she met on Facebook. I wouldn't even do that. Like, that scares me because I would be scared to stalk her. Like, she met up with him in person. Wait, wait, wait, wait. You know? Maybe she's not the real girl. She was a decoy. I figured it out. What is it, Rob? Explain. The picture on the Facebook is real. It is. She sent a decoy. Oh. To see if he... Blah, blah, blah, blah.
That would make sense. To see if he was for real. Just call me Banana Check, Mike. Not bad. Totally. Nathan. Yeah. Any person that's freaked out about the internet is not going to be on Facebook. In my opinion, but maybe... And definitely isn't going to meet up with a person that they meet on Facebook. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? I agree. I mean, they might have been scared at the time, but as they get more into it, they realize it's going to be their friend, but... This guy does it, by the way. He does? He's got a picture of Todd Bridges on his site. You do? Nathan, do you have a picture of Todd Bridges on your face space? No. Do you have Facebook? Nope. See, dude. He doesn't want to be stalked. Leave him alone. He doesn't want to be stalked. All right, Nathan. Love your dogs. You do that. No. What is that accent? Professional. It is? Yeah. Rob knows it well. If you'd like to make a call... Corporate. I get it. Let's see. P1 Anthony. Anthony. Hey, Anthony. Hey, what's going on? What's up, dude? Hey, I...
I don't think you guys are freaking out over this at all. I don't think you guys are overacting at all. It's weird, right? I'm pretty sure that if I was on some sort of dating service or Facebook, something like that, and being a guy, you put up a different picture than what you really look like, and a girl goes on a date with you, she would totally just go over the end if you were different. She'd freak out. She would. Yeah, there is a double standard going on here. There is. The fact that this dude is even considering going out with her again is a double standard because no chick would do that. She'd freak out, man. But wait a second. If he showed up and this chick wasn't hot, yeah, he wouldn't consider going out with her again. That's true, too. That is true, too. Totally double standard. You are right about that. I'm going to go over the end on that. That's right. Thank you. One thing is that if that happened, it was reversed. Yeah, okay, the guy might be like, yeah, you know, whatever. But it would be based upon lies, and the girls would realize that. Yeah, that's true. Unless he was super hot. Is that true, Skye? Women, too? You monsters. I thought it was just us. A surfer dude with some abs, please. Say whatever you want. Forget about it. I'll give a rip if it's true or not. P1 Classic, girl. Hi, Mikey, how are you? I have Siri. Go ahead.
All right, I used to be on another site called Tribe. I lost my job because there were pictures of me on it, and my job didn't appreciate them. You were on a website called Tri? Is this Ashley calling you? No, T-R-I-B-E. Oh, Tribe. Tribe. Okay. I lost my job, and my girlfriend's a lawyer, so she doesn't put real pictures of herself on there either. Why does she even go on there? Well, we have, like, networks of people in music. Like, most of us that were on MySpace, we all have our own network of music that we listen to. Uh-huh. The fans we listen to. Yeah. All of our friends, like, we don't just randomly become friends with people. Like, if someone emailed me and I didn't know them, I probably wouldn't talk to them. Now, I think the word probably is pretty interesting there. Because you didn't say, I wouldn't talk to them. Well, come on. Well, it depends on if he likes the same kind of music I like. Okay, so if they do like the same kind of music, then you're in. I would talk to them. I'm not quite sure I'd meet up with them. Well, explain this to me again, though, classic girl. What's the point of putting pictures that aren't you? Well, my main picture isn't of me. Why? Why? Why?
Something about tattoos, and it's like a tattoo design. Okay, but again, again, but Classical, why? Because if you're interested in me as a person, then you'll talk to me whether I have a picture of myself on there or not. I'm not ugly, I just... That's cool. Hey, I totally understand that, but what would you think about somebody that put up a picture of a human being, but it wasn't them? of a girl, but it isn't her. I actually, when I first became single like eight years ago, I met someone online and I met him and he didn't look anything like the picture. Okay, I'm going to ask you this again. I got to ask you again. Do you know anybody, including yourself, that has put a picture up of somebody that wasn't them?
Not somebody you went out with, but a girlfriend of yours or you. Do you know any? I think I'm too old for that. And I think that most of my friends are too old for that. I mean, if you're not comfortable with yourself, I only do it because, first of all, I'm a parent. And second of all, my job, I could lose my job. So you do do it. But I don't put pictures of other people. Okay, you just put the little. Gotcha. Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with putting a cartoon character or a symbol or whatever. Yeah, whatever. Like, that's totally fine. That's not even, you know. But if you put a person, you're... Say again? My current one right now is a picture of tattoos, and it says, dude, screwed, and tattooed. That's cool. I mean, that's just a picture, you know? But if you were to put up a picture of, like, say, a girlfriend of yours that's real pretty, do you... Let me... I want to... I got it. Oh, here we go. Uh-oh. I'm going to ask you this, classic girl. I'm going to ask you this. Do you think it's, how old are you? 40. Okay. Let's say you have a 40-year-old friend and her name is Melissa. Good call. All right. You got a 40-year-old friend. Her name's Melissa. Okay. And let's say that Melissa.
is going to join MySpace and Facebook all on the same day, okay? And let's say that she goes to, you know, she's looking around the internet, she sees pictures of Ashley, and Ashley's real pretty and young, and so she takes those pictures of Ashley, and she uses those pictures, better yet, she uses pictures of someone that you know that's Ashley's age, and uses that as her main picture. Is that wrong? Completely. She's a crackhead. Okay, then that is... Okay, I gotcha. So you're in agreement. You think that that is weird. What you don't think... It's weird because, first of all, it's not her. And if she meets someone, they're going to figure that out. Within the first 10 seconds, they meet them. Mm-hmm. Well, he did. He did. But this girl wasn't bad-looking. She was good-looking. It was just weird that she used someone else's picture. Maybe she didn't want people to meet her because of her looks. She used somebody else's to see if, you know, when she met them, if they liked her anyway. You know what I mean? Isn't she representing, isn't she beginning the relationship with a lie? Pretty much. Yeah. And that's why there's psycho women out there and they give the rest of us women bad names. Thank you. P1 Melissa has a theory. Oh. Melissa, what's your theory? My theory is that she could be hiding something.
Possibly cheating. And that might be why she doesn't want her identity. We already figured it out. It's a mafia. It's a mafia. She's in the witness protection program. Witness protection. So you're saying that this girl could be cheating and she's just trying to use a different picture to throw people off. Right. And she still wants to appear as attractive because she wants to get something. Mm-hmm. She wants to get dudes. Yeah. I can see that. You ladies are monsters. I can't even believe it. It's just unbelievable. The lengths that you ladies will go through just to get down someone's pants is unbelievable to me. Somebody finally is saying it. It's unbelievable to me. Just to have sex, these ladies will just go to the extreme. 570-1053 is the phone number. The text number is 35253. Maureen McCormick. Marsha Brady is going to be on our show. by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. A couple of rough spots on our freeways right now. There's a new accident, West 94 on the King Freeway here, just past the 15 connector. And that's got you backed up from College Avenue at Lemon Grove all the way into the accident scene, past that, actually the 32nd Street. The westbound 8 is also seeing some heavier traffic now out of the East County, coming out of La Mesa, backing up first in the El Cajon Valley towards East Main. And then again from the 125, and that's a slow crawl all the way to Lake Murray before you back up to speed on that freeway. Heading south on the 15, as usual, slow and go off to 78 to Via Rancho Parkway. Now slowing again Carmel Mountain Ranch down into Poway. Then again from Scripps Ranch down to Miramar. As you make that turn off the 15 onto westbound 56, lots of brake lights here. Man, that is bumper to bumper and single digits coming through Rancho Penosquitos. There's an accident involving a motorcycle just past Camino del Sur that's causing that backup. And the coaster rides south on side of the 5 also slowing down here out of La Costa now all the way down toward the racetrack in Del Mar. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. P1 Sanjaya. What's going on, Mikey? What's going on, dude? You went to sleep train? I went out to sleep train and bought myself a mattress finally. When did you do it? I went this Sunday, actually. Cool. What did you get? Yeah, I got a beauty rest, a comfort classic.
Did they deliver it Sunday, Monday, or when? Sunday when I told them to because I was moving that day. Really? It worked out perfect. That's pretty awesome. And did they take your, well, wait a minute. If you were moving, did they have to take your set or did you get rid of it yourself? No, I got rid of it myself. So they bring the new one in. Did they set it up for you? They set it up for me within like five minutes. And how did it feel that first night? Just like being in heaven. That's awesome, man. That's awesome, dude. That's awesome. Yeah, I tell people about Sleep Den. Did they give you a good price? Oh, yeah, dude. I went in there after the promotion about getting everything for free. And the dude's still doing everything for free. And after I told him that Mikey sent me personally, he knocked off $700. That's awesome. Yeah. All right, brother. Thank you, Sanjaya. All right, dude. Talk to you later, man. Sleep Train's your ticket to a better night's sleep. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I am a fat nerd, and it's really okay for you to say hello. Eddie. Hey, I'm a sky. I'm not going to make other people weird it out. That's right. Unless I'm provoked. Ashley. The Mikey show's on. Wrap yourself in, kids. Rock 105.3. She swings her arms. Welcome back.
It's a Mikey show. It's 744. The Del Mar Fairgrounds approved a policy that will crack down on weed, but only at reggae concerts. Eli Manning has a bruised chest after the Cleveland game. He says he will play this weekend, though. Eli didn't want to come here. No, he didn't. What's up with that, man? It's a great place. We don't want you then, Eli. Stay in New York with your world championship. All right, welcome back. I don't get cake. Some people do understand that band. I don't understand them. Who would be one of those people? Boy Blunder. I love cake. My husband loves cake. He gets it. Yeah. And I don't understand. I don't speak that language. And so I can't go there. Ash, where are they? Middle bottom page in red. Got it. Got some.
Got some Asian kids that moved into the neighborhood. They're big fans of the show. They're foreign exchange students. They moved into the neighborhood. And I really like them. They're really nice kids. And, you know, they know them on the radio and everything. So they asked if they could get on the radio. You know, they wrote a song about Sean. Really? You guys want to hear my Asian friends band? To you. To you. Why? Now, these are the only words they know in English right now. The simplicity of it. Forget Sean. He is very turned on right now. I love that chord. It's really good. It's beautiful. My favorite. That was beautiful. Easy to dance to. Yeah. Beat. I think my favorite part of the lyrics were that part where it said panda. Yeah, that was strong. My favorite part, too. No, it said more than that, Sean.
It's a panda, panda, panda, panda, panda, China. Yeah. I think at one point. I like. I like. Yeah, I like. I like. Panda, panda, panda, panda. See? You're already singing along. I'll be singing it all day. You know what I mean? That's the number one hit. Wow. With a bullet. You want to hear one of the rest of the other songs? Oh, no. Do we have more? One more. Oh. Okay. This one doesn't make as much sense, though. Oh. Let's come see the duck. English is very... Never be able to tell. I mean... Yeah, for sure. Pull it off. Going for that Metallica dirty sound. Exactly, exactly. I was trying to tell them, hey, you guys, Come See the Duck doesn't really... For the next furry convention. I think they're both great. Yeah. Really special. Yeah. My favorite part of the lyrics there was when it said, Come See the Duck. Yeah. Really awesome. This is my favorite part of that song. Come see the duck. We're getting...
Text messages about the whole Facebook thing. Oh. Says, what's the point of having those Facebooks to begin with? Everyone needs to get off the internet and actually go out and develop their social skills. Nerds. And Rob. That's B1 Hothead. All right. No, listen, let me tell you what I love about Facebook. Facebook allows you to stay in touch with people that you don't get to see on a regular basis. And I understand that P1 Hothead, he doesn't work. And so he's allowed to go visit his friends, you know, all 200 friends that he has. He's able to go visit them every day and spend time with them. What, you don't have a mailbox outside your house, Mike? You can't just walk out there and drop a letter? sending photographs of your life each day. You're so impatient. But that's what I like about the whole Facebook. You keep a track of people. Mikey, he's probably getting punked on some TV show. That's P1 Ashton Kutcher. Maybe he's trying to avoid an ex, maybe she's trying to avoid an ex-boyfriend or something, but still wants a Facebook to talk to friends. That's P1 Jilly.
Mikey, maybe that person doesn't like the way they look. That's P1. Claudia, he said that she was good looking. Yeah, but you know how chicks can be crazy. They're very insecure. Sometimes. It'd be very crazy. Sometimes. Weird. Every once in a while. Good morning, Mikey. I was reading Rob's blog this morning, and instead of spelling tourniquet, tourniquet, he spelled Turner Kit. What's wrong with that? Like T-U-R-N-E-R? Yes, two words. Turner Kit. Everybody understands it? This is a poor man's way of spelling it. Is this one of these deals where all along Rob thought that that thing was called a Turner Kit? No question about it. Sir Richard Branson, get out of here with that dude. What am I? Sir Richard Branson? I'm not finding polished.
What am I, Mark Cuban? Come on. Thank you. What am I, Christy Brinkley's ex? What do you think of it? Exactly. What's going on? I'm not Frazier. I'm not Frazier. I'm not Frazier. It's Mikey. On The Rock. At Robbins Brothers, we're all about finding you that one perfect ring. Okay, I'll admit, I'm pretty big on tradition. But I really want to create my own tradition. Traditions matter. Better mileage tips presented by Chevron. How fast are you going right now? Really? That fast? So what's your hurry? Did you know that if you slowed down just a little, you'd get better mileage? It's true. If you drove 55 miles per hour on the highway instead of 65 miles per hour, you could go about 30 to 60 more miles on a tank of gas. It's like the story of the tortoise and the hare. You know, slow and steady wins the race. And that also applies to city driving. When you're stopped at a traffic light and it turns green, avoid the jackrabbit start. Don't punch the gas. It's not a race. Just accelerate smoothly and gradually. And let's face it, you'll catch up to those other cars at the next light anyway. So remember, a heavy foot equals a light gas tank. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtekron.com. The place, the insurance place. Hi, I just wanted to thank you, Mikey, for suggesting AIS. When did you do it? I actually did it yesterday, and I saved $1,000 a year on my car. And I'm young, and I drive a sports car, and I usually get really expensive quotes. Who used to be your insurance? Mercury Insurance. And now who do they set you up with? I'm not absolutely sure, but it's way cheaper. AIS is a brokerage, so they shop you over 30 different companies, and that's what they did for you. Yeah, and they were super nice. This guy was fabulous, and he gave me all his information, and he made me feel really comfortable, and I was really nervous that I was going to get something really expensive. Did you mention me? Yes, I did. You always got it. He put that down. Very nice. Let me tell you something, Vanessa. It's going to feel so good not writing a check out for more money. And I pay every other month instead of monthly now. Oh, that's rad. Congratulations, Vanessa. Thank you so much. All right. We'll see you. Okay. 1-800-777-4AIS. 1-800-777-4247. Or try their website, AISinsurance.com. You'll be just like Vanessa. You'll be paying less. Radio by Radio Shack.
With the DTV transition, our family's analog TV won't work after February 17th. So I say, have no fear, and head to Radio Shack, where they explain that I can either sign up for Dish Network, buy a digital TV, or use a government coupon to help get a DTV converter box. So I get the box and set it up just as the kids are walking in the door, which is how I get the name Super Dad. And I owe it all to Radio Shack's help. Go to DTV2009.gov to find out how to get your $40 government coupon. And don't just buy stuff. Do stuff. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. The host of the show is a freak show. Eddie. Sean. Well, you know what? I'm a non-informist. Boston Rob. Nothing in my life can go. Nothing in my life. And Ashley. To share. I'd share my food with you. The Mikey Show's on. I hear you, buddy. Rock 105.3. Eddie gives the number one rock song in the country by The Offspring the thumbs down. Sky gives it a thumbs down. Pretty much everything by The Offspring. And Joaquin Phoenix from Gladiator just gave it a thumbs down too. Yeah, he is. That is Offspring and You're Gonna Go Far, Kid. That's the name of the song. Come on.
Welcome back to Mike's show. It is 8-0-1. Good news on the fire front. Evacuation orders have been lifted, and the Campo fire is fully contained, and the one in Oceanside is 60% contained. Lions quarterback John Kitten is out for the rest of the year with his back injury. This text message says, Mikey, I used two photos for Facebook. The first is Scott Baio. Duh. If I'm feeling frisky, Willie Ames. Ooh. That's right, dude. Nice. Mikey, wow. Those Asian kids are really awesome. It's P1 Side Day. I think they have a better chance with the first song for hitting the radio. Panda Panda. I don't know about that. This one says, Mikey, please, please, please play the Panda song on Friday instead of the third day song. It really does fill us with hope. It's a little weird. It's P1 Jam. That's right.
Mikey, the Panda song should be the new Morning Show intro song. P1 Bronco Dan. It's only introducing one person. That is true. Not a good idea. Or maybe the new Sean TV theme. Not bad. They're great musicians. Not really. I'll leave you with it there. Sticks are everywhere. That song is called Panda, Panda, Panda. No one cares. And I hope you enjoy it. Everybody cares. Bamboo shooting through the charts. That's right. Number one with a boo. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. Maureen McCormick will be on the show this hour. Marsha. Marsha Brady. I see. Yeah, because she says that she had a relationship with Michael Jackson. Come on. That's crazy. Nobody has had a relationship with Michael Jackson. That's true. There's been people that he's called his girlfriend, even wife.
I wouldn't say they had a relationship. That's crazy. Who was the celebrity that said they were in, like, his bedroom? Was it Tatum O'Neal? And, like, she wanted to kiss him? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was Tatum O'Neal. Carly Culkin. No, wrong. Different time. Different story. It was Tatum O'Neal. She wanted to make love to Michael Jackson. And he's just freaking out. He giggled. He started giggling. He was like, hee, hee, hee, hee. Webster. That was Webster. We already know it's Tatum O'Neal. We figured it out. Yeah, it was Webster. No, it was Tatum O'Neal. Oh. Remember when he took Webster as his date to the prom? No, it wasn't. Hey, but speaking of Webster, Gary Coleman, the guy that played Webster, he pleaded. Emmanuel Lewis played Webster. No, no, no. Mike's right. No, you guys. I'm positive. He just pled not guilty in Utah to a parking lot incident. Yeah, this is a weird incident. I don't know if you heard about it when it happened. Really? I would have thought that if it involved Gary Coleman, it would be a completely normal incident. Yeah. So, Gary Coleman, his wife, and his bodyguard all went bowling one night. Like Pac-Man Jones. Yes. All went bowling one night. Wait, wait. Yeah? I just have to soak that.
The visual. Get the visual. Enjoy. Gary Coleman, his wife, and his bodyguard walk into a bowling alley. What's the joke? I know. What's the punchline? Yeah, in Utah. In Utah. Go bowling. Well, somebody who was there started taking pictures of Gary with his camera phone and then I guess had followed them out to the parking lot and was taking more pictures out in the parking lot. That's the point where Gary Coleman's wife rushes the dude. Oh, wow. And grabs his cell phone and then there's a scuffle and then Gary Coleman jumps in his car and allegedly takes his car and rams the dude with it. Come on. How can he reach the pedals? Now, wait a second. Where's the bodyguard in all this? Isn't that his job? Isn't that his job to make sure this stuff doesn't happen? Yeah, you would think. He was in the 10th frame. He couldn't leave yet. He wanted to just get that last ball in there. Yesterday, Gary Coleman pled not guilty to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and reckless driving. Wow. Great story. Compelling and rich. 5701053 is the number. Text number is 35253. Hello?
I just saw the funniest bumper sticker right in front of me. Wait, wait, wait. Is it okay for fit for radio? Yeah, it says sky's a beating. Oh, wow. Where did you see it? It's a tortilla truck. And I'm in Paula right now. It's in North County here. I'm listening to the show. I'm a big fan, dude. And I just see this bumper sticker, and it's like a decal. You know, it's all separate. That's fantastic. Our P1s are insane. They're the best. I mean, a tortilla truck, that's your business? Awesome. You're going to put that sticker on there? A tortilla truck. That's right. It'll get you more business. Yeah, I'm sure. It'll get you more business. Uh-huh. Ridiculous. No. Yes. I can't believe that C. Thomas Howell is out in Iron Man 2 and Don Cheadle is in. That really bothers me. I liked him in the first one. I actually think it was Thomas Howell or Terrence Howard. Terrence Howard. But C. Thomas Howell would be awesome. I thought it was C. Thomas Howell. No, Mike, you're right. Yeah, P1 called in to talk about this at the end of the show yesterday, but it's, you know, all the news today that, yeah, Terrence Howard, they couldn't come to an agreement on money issues for Iron Man 2. Money, money, money. Money, money, money. So he's out and now. We actually have a clip of their negotiation. Oh. Really?
Oh, we'll see. Hilarious. You can't yell like that. That's hard to talk to somebody. That's right. That's not much. Insane like that. You're actually yelling at you like that. They love their money. Show me the money. There might be a sequel to the movie Wall Street. Huh? About the bailout. Is that what it'll be? Wall Street 2, the bailout. Yeah. I don't know about that. Money, Money, Money. Yeah, it's actually currently in pre-production, and it's called Money Never Sleeps. Money, Money, Money. Should just be called Money, Money. Yeah, they should have called it Money, Money, Money. That's just a production name. Oh, I see. So Michael Douglas is interested. It will be called Money, Money, Money by the time it hits theaters. Money, Money, Money. Michael Douglas is interested and is reading the script, but they do say that Charlie Sheen or Oliver Stone will not be involved. Or Charlie Nelson Riley. It'll be one of the two. Charlie Sheen will play the part or Charlie Nelson Riley. They haven't decided. Either way, we win. Yeah, that's true. Money, money, money. What do you guys think Prince Charles is doing right now? Sleeping on a pile of money. No. Wait, what time is it? Money, money, money. I need to know what time it is. What, am I Prince Charles over here? It's like 4 o'clock over there.
I think he's eating a peanut butter and carrot sandwich. What do I look like, Mary and Barba? What do I deal, blood diamonds over here? How rich do you think I am? What am I, Quincy Jones? Made of money. What am I, Captain of the Love Boat? Who am I, Dodi Faid? What do you want from me? Wow. Wow. Wow. Touche. Who are you, Eddie? Touche. What's that supposed to mean? You're the one always dropping those references. You are. Yeah. What about Obama advertising in video games? What do you think of that? This is interesting. This is a first. Thank you, Mikey. Yeah. Obama has put together an ad deal.
that will have his posters or whatever appear in 18 different video games. Now, this is all about Xbox Live. So with Xbox Live, you're actually connected to the Internet, so they're constantly updating things and changing things. So when you're playing Madden 09 and you see an ad in the stadium, they can sell those ads, and they can change them if you're hooked into the Internet because that's another way for them to advertise. It's like a billboard built into their video game. Mind control. So Obama has a deal with Xbox Live going up to November 3rd, right before the election, where you will see Obama billboards and stuff in 18 different games, including Madden 09, Guitar Hero, other stuff like that. Get out of here, Obama. Smart. We don't want you. I want him in my games. You don't play video games. I want him in my games and my dreams. Thank you, Mikey. You're welcome, Mr. McCain. Let's see. We have a $43 million budget shortfall in San Diego. That's it? That's crazy! That's all you got? They're like a big sale or something. Dude. Yeah. 43 mil? That's a lot. Mm-hmm. Who said that? Maybe it's not true. I have to consider the source. Well, Mayor Sanders said it yesterday. What does he know? Well, he's the mayor. Oh, yeah. So, you know, I would think he would know. Thought he, like, owned the past subways.
Sandwich place or something. Plus a subway slash KFC. Is it both? Yeah. So that gives them more credibility? Kind of. I mean, yeah. Okay. Got a little both going on for them. Okay. Yeah, he says in the, you know, right now everybody's talking about this $700 billion bailout. He says, so $43 million may not seem a lot, but to the city of San Diego it really is. And they'll almost certainly have to cut programs and close facilities in the future. I have a clip. It's not the best audio quality, but I have a clip. Okay. And it is of our very own Mayor Sanders. But I have to tell you that I tape recorded it on a speak and spell, so it doesn't sound all that great. Forgive me. Based upon new information, we now project a $43 million deficit for the current fiscal year. Tourism revenues are down, and so are property and sales taxes. We'll almost certainly need to curtail programs. Oh, man, this sounds grown up. It does. It's so adult, man. Like, there's nothing about that that I feel has any, you know, hipness to it. You can't put that on MTV. But what about this? Now it's time for the YouTube clip of the day. Yes. Tell me what you think about your hero now, Sky. What?
Play something from your favorite hero. I'm Hayden Panettiere, and I'm hot enough that I know I have your attention for at least 30 seconds. There are three things I think all citizens should do. Smoke cigarettes, vote for John McCain, and don't wear a seatbelt. A vote for McCain is a vote against change. He'll keep tax breaks for the rich, start another war, and we'll all probably die. He's just like George Bush, except older and with a worse temper. Let's vote for McCain and stay the course. Don't switch horses midstream. Get an older horse who would take 12 years to cross that stream. Because he's old. John McCain. He's had affairs with lobbyists. Everybody wins. There you go. What a great courtesy laugh from Sky and Sean. Wow. It was so unfunny. I liked the part at the end. The beginning was ridiculous. There's your hero. I did have a chuckle at the end. It's Hayden Pantieri. I know when you really laugh, you're faking it. That's right. Just like your party. Yes. What's my party? What are we faking? Box, box, box, box, box, box, box, box, box. Don Cain is almost in a box. Is that what we're chanting? You're as funny as Hayden Pantieri's. Yeah. As Hayden's panties. Let's see. Well, I have a clip here.
Sean, have you heard the Louis Black clip? Yeah. Is it air friendly or can I not play this? I took out all the bad stuff. It just gets real mad. Louis Black, you guys know who Louis Black is, right? We will. Take a quick time out when we come back. It's a clip of him on Anderson Cooper. 360. He freaked out. Play it when we get back. Don't go anywhere. We need to change the name of our band. What's wrong with Black Angus? It's a great name for a Scottish death metal bagpipe band. But Carl's Jr. is selling $6 burgers made with Black Angus beef. Well, fine, what do you want to call the band? How about hairy naked legs and bagpipes? Well, it's not as good as Black Angus, but it does have a ring to it. One, two, three! $6 burgers made with 100% Black Angus beef. Only at Carl's Jr. Shut up, all of you, please. Shut up. Z. San Diego's Rock. Back to the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. I put things off. I do like to put things off until the last minute. Eddie. I keep a log of my insults. That must be a pretty long log. That's what she said. Oh my. Sky. I was growing weed when I was five years old. You all figured me out. Say that question.
Sean. I don't often drink milk, but when I do, I have to salt. Boston Rob. I got ideas, man. They're worth money. No. And Ashley. I don't know anything about that. Save that clip. Save that clip. You will save that clip. Rock 105.3. It's a Mikey show. It is 8-19. Well, it's now official. Madonna's publicist has just confirmed that Madonna and her husband of seven and a half years, Guy Ritchie, will be getting a divorce. The Colts make a trade for Bill's defensive tackle, John McCargo, for an undisclosed draft pick. All right, welcome back to the show. We were talking about this yesterday, that Maureen McCormick, who played Marsha Brady on the Brady Bunch, is making the media rounds right now.
She has a new book. We reported yesterday in the news that in this new book she is kind of telling some stuff we didn't know. Telling it all. She's telling it all. The book is called Here's the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice. And one of the biggest revelations in the book is that she... Had a relationship with Michael Jackson. And so we have her on the phone right now. Maureen McCormick. Mikey? How are you? I'm good, Mikey. How are you? I'm great. It is, you know. I don't want to say Mikey every other word. Oh, I love it. I love it. I love that name, Mikey. I call my husband Mikey. Do you really? That's cool. Yeah. Hey, listen. I got to tell you. Maureen McCormick is, you are one of these ladies that. Just, you got the good genes. You know what I'm saying? You got some real good genes. Aw, thank you. Because everybody, I think, kind of universally considers you the prettiest Brady girl, and then now you're a full-grown adult, and you're still very beautiful. Thank you very much, Mikey. You're very welcome.
Oh, there you go. Well, I mean it, though. I'm being serious. You really are. I'm personally an Eve Plum guy, but, you know, that's fine. It's my producer. He's an Eve Plum guy, whatever. I always thought you were very gorgeous there, Maureen. Thank you. Even after she got hit in the nose with a football? Even after. Okay. Even after. Wow, he loves me through everything. That's right. It's true love. What a man. So you got a new book. It's called Here's a Story, Surviving Marsha Brady and Finding My True Voice. Why now? Why write the book now? Why didn't you write the book years ago? I wasn't ready for it years ago. I think, you know, I've had to battle so many things and I've wanted to get through the battles first before ever writing about them. You know, we spoke to Barry Williams one time. Uh-huh. And he's pretty candid. He talks pretty openly about what those days were like. And about how it really took a toll because when you guys did that show afterwards trying to go on as actors, it was kind of tough. And it was tough because everybody thought of you in those roles. And what was that period like for you right after the show ended? It was a crazy wild party scene for me. I had a boyfriend and he took me over to his teacher's house one day. And there was a big glass table filled with a mountain of cocaine.
and I started doing it, and I'm a very addictive personality, and I became addicted to cocaine for years and years. What year are we talking here? Like 18, 19. No, no, no. I mean, what year in time was this, 19? Oh, boy, I don't know. This was 70s, 80s kind of deal? Like the 80s, yeah. This was 80s, okay. Yeah. And so you get hooked on cocaine. And this is shortly after the show is over, and you know there's not going to be any more Brady Bunch. Right. And so for you, Maureen, we're talking Maureen McCormick. She's got a new book out, Here's the Story of Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice. So for you, there wasn't a lot of, hey, I'm going to get out there and be an actor now and tackle Hollywood because, boom, you're doing coke. Well, actually, I did do a lot of working while I was high. Yeah. I did a lot of shows. very high and made movies high. Speaking of movies, one of the things that we heard was that you missed a meeting with Steven Spielberg because you were too high to go to the meeting. Is that true? No. That is not true? No, it's kind of true. What happened? I mean, I should have missed the meeting. I should have not been there, definitely. I had driven around the block and I had been up for three days doing coke and
I was scared to go in, and I went in, and I was just blitzed out of my mind when I met him. It was for Raiders of the Lost Ark. What role? I don't know what role. Probably Karen Allen's role. Maybe, maybe. Wow. Have you seen him since? No, but I want to. Yeah. I bet. Yeah. Yeah. You know, okay, I identify myself on the air. We did a billboard campaign even where I identify myself on the air as an addict. Do you call yourself an addict? Would you consider yourself an addict? I would consider myself someone with a very addictive personality. I'm an addictive person. I got to tell you, this book is sounding more and more interesting to me.
Every question, like everything you're telling me, I'm starting to get a little bit more interested in reading this. Yeah, and I heard the same thing with Steven Spielberg. It's pretty much the way her date went down with Steve Martin, too. Right. It was a bad, bad thing. What was the deal? I was just high on coke. And, you know, when I was high on coke, it was just, I was a different person. The biggest revelation, obviously, Maureen. And the question that you got to be getting, you know, we saw you on the Today Show yesterday. Is that her cousin Oliver was not a jinx. That is not even it, Eddie. That's not the question. What? I don't think that's the question. That is not even it. Fine. Most people would think that it's the Oliver stuff. I would think so. No, it's not. The biggest revelation was that you dated Michael Jackson. I did date Michael Jackson. Come on. No way. Maureen.
Is this a book thing? Come on. Did you really date Michael Jackson? I did. Wow. When he was about 14 and I was about 16. Oh, hello. And I was a cougar. Yeah, look at you. You know, I had a huge crush on him. I thought he was gorgeous. Yeah, who didn't? I loved his voice. So, yeah, we would go out. ice skating together and hold hands, and I'd come over to their house and hang out, and I'd take Latoya out for shopping, and it was a trip. It's totally true, you guys. This is Michael Jackson. Maureen, Michael Jackson is on the phone as well. We weren't going to surprise you. It's totally true. We did. We dated. Oh, wow. How did it go down, Michael? Well, she told it all. We did coke, I guess. I don't know. That's a different time. I gotta go, guys. Thanks for clearing that up. Michael Jackson just clearing it up. I guess just saying that it is true. All of this is in the book, by the way, right, Maureen? That's right.
And you can get all this in the new book. It's called Surviving Marsha Brady and Finding My True Voice. Hey, listen. Actually, it's called Here's the Story. Here's the Story, Surviving Marsha Brady and Finding My True Voice. Right. And it's available now. And it looks great. I mean, the stuff in there is stuff that we've never heard before. You said you weren't ready to do it then. Right. And you are ready to do it now. And it sounds good. Thank you. Thank you so much. I appreciate you coming on the show, Maureen. Thank you so much for having me. All right. We'll see you. Okay, bye. It's Maureen McCormick. Wow. Yeah, dude. Some crazy stuff, man. Crazy. Some crazy stuff in there. She went from Coke to freebasing. Nuh-uh. Yeah. Oh, get her back on the phone. Yeah. I also heard that she was saying that when her and Michael Jackson, there was one time when he kissed her and she could tell he just wasn't into it. For real? Yeah. Oh. Yeah. I want to know about that. Yeah. Got to get her back on the phone. Crazy book. Star 69. Yeah, Star 69. This is more appropriate. I love you, Maureen. I heard he was talking to Maureen McCormick when he was doing the vocals for this. Really? That's what I heard. I don't know if it's true. He actually thought he was dating Marcia Brady, though. Yeah, he did. That's weird. He kept asking if he could meet Greg, which is really weird. The Mikey Show. Why can't you just have a coat problem like everyone else?

I still have some tough spots out here. This westbound 8 is all jammed up from Waring Road in the Mission Valley past Qualcomm Stadium. There's an accident here just around Texas Street involving a cement truck and a car that's really backing up traffic through the valley right now. West 94 on the King Freeway, that's looking a little bit better, but still heavy from the 805 all the way into downtown. You've got some stuff to deal with as well. Still out of the South Bay, both the 5805 northbound still jamming up through National City. The 5 Freeway is still backing up in past the crash near Pershing. And that stays slow through the downtown S-curve. Southbound 15, coming out of Escondido. That's looking better, just breaking up now out of Escondido to the Via Rancho Parkway. But still finding some reduced speeds from Camino down north to Rancho Bernardo into Poway. And then slows again right around Miramar Road as you take that exit. Westbound 56, watch for the slowdown coming at you right around Rancho Santa Fe Farms. And that's a solid one to the 5 connector.
And the Southbound 5 is also breaking up in pockets now from La Costa, kind of off and on, down towards Loma Santa Fe Drive and Savannah Beach. Now I'm Rick Lawrence on Rockwood 053. I always stand when I watch TV at night. Boss and Rob. This is how the brain of a genius works. Not really. And Ashley. I like my sweat and I don't want to use special deodorant. On Rock 105.3. Yeah, that's right. It's a Mikey show. It's 836. DJ AM will have his first gig since he was seriously burned in a plane crash. He's playing tonight in L.A. with Jay-Z. All those pesky Red Sox. Look at them. They got crushed again, losing to Tampa. 13-4 last night. Oh, no. The Rays now hold the 3-1 lead in the ALCS. It's almost over. But not yet. Been there before, right, Rob? And I'm not giving up.
Been there before. He's upset because of this jack-in-the-box thing. He's taking it on me. A ridiculous statement. What's he talking about? He says, if you order the ultimate breakfast sandwich, which is gigantic, they put it in the hamburger bun, Mike. Not like a little cheeseburger, like a full-on big old bun. He goes, why don't you put it in a biscuit? Like a biscuit can hold this massive amount of food. It can. That is a joke. And then he goes, oh, I did it the other day with the extreme sausage sandwich. And I go, well, sausage is circular. It fits in a biscuit. But it's huge. That's what you eat. They're giving each other the international. Someone forgot you there. Oh, my gosh. That's just silly, Rob. That's fantastic. It's silly. It's a silly comment. It's not a silly comment. I would agree. I thought it was a hamburger bun. He was crying about the hamburger bun. It's one of the regular hamburgers. Yeah, it's a hamburger bun. Holy cannoli. And a biscuit is like that big. This guy. I have a question. What was the disagreement about? It is a hamburger bun. No, Rob wants him to put it on a biscuit. And Eddie's saying a biscuit is too small to accommodate. It's physically impossible. It's like trying to move a family of 12. We have walked on the moon.
It's like trying to move a family of 12 into a one-bedroom apartment. You can't do it. Unless you're Mexican. Unless you're Mexican, you can't make that happen. It's a Mexican biscuit. But Mike Rob says we've landed on the moon. Mike can't be accomplished. Well, if you cut out all the delicious stuff that goes in the extreme breakfast sandwich, ultimate breakfast sandwich, so it hangs over a little. You get a little sloppy. It doesn't matter, dude. You're a guy. That doesn't make any sense. It's going to hang off the thing. It's not going to fit perfectly, but you can do it. It is feasible. Are you a huge fan of the biscuit? Like, why are you so passionate? You know what I think we should do? We should get a biscuit and put that in there, and you'll see how stupid it looks. It'll look like a fool. It will taste delicious, and you won't complain. You're like blundering high heels, all right? You can't do it. It's not right. It shouldn't be done. You throw all that stuff in a tortilla. Now you're talking. Hey. That is for sure. Just open your eyes for once. That is for sure. Get outside my box. Box. Box. Box. Box. Box. Box. Box. Box. You can do it with us. I don't. Eddie, you won't put just anything in a tortilla, though, right? No. Well, no. I mean, like my... What? What do you mean by that? My friend Tim. You don't put anything, man. Tim.
Is disgusting. What will he put in there? Anything. Literally anything. Like you give him. Sweets? Not sweets. But any kind of food. Any kind of food. Like cold spaghetti he puts in. Oh yeah I do. I don't do it cold. I don't do it cold. I heat it in the microwave. I take spaghetti. I heat it in the microwave. And then I heat a tortilla up. And then I put the spaghetti in. You're Mexican. Why is that wrong? I'm out on you. Excuse me. Let's talk. Let's talk. A banana in spaghetti is wrong. But a spaghetti in a tortilla is not wrong. It's like putting, you know, meatballs in stir fry. Like, who does that? Look at Mikey. Bro. He just opened his eyes. Bro. I don't know. I don't think so. You eat bread. Tortillas, bread. But not, though. It'd be like putting spaghetti in a pita pocket. There's nothing wrong with that. I would never do that either. It's all bread. It doesn't work. It's all bread. It's not all bread. It's all bread. No, garlic bread you eat with spaghetti. That's good. That sounds great. That's specific. Yeah. I'll do that too. Oh, you're weird. Sky would never. Could you imagine putting a spaghetti burrito in front of her? Oh, I would throw it back at you. And you would deserve it. You like spaghetti. You like tortilla. Well, I mean. But I like them in separate.
Well, and you're making assumptions here about spaghetti. Let me talk to you about some weird stuff. You tell me if you'll go there. Okay. Will you fry an egg and put it inside of a tortilla and wrap it up? Oh, of course. Yeah, but I cut it up first. I don't just throw it in the tortilla. You have to cut it up. Yeah. Okay. Otherwise, it'll squirt all over you. Tell me if you would do this. Oh, that is really gross. All right. I'm going to test what your limits are. Okay. Okay, now you're going to take a nonstick pan. You're going to put a little cooking oil in there. And you're going to take a hot dog and you're going to cut it down the middle. And you're going to fry it in said nonstick pan. And you're going to add that to the fried egg in the tortilla and roll it up. Not in a million years. Really? Not in a million years. You're really so hungry, dude. That's not a breakfast meat. I had a hot pocket yesterday. No, I want a breakfast meat. You will not do a hot dog in there. Hot dog is breakfast meat. Hot dog is not breakfast meat. Hot dog is your breakfast. When you go into restaurants, have you ever seen a hot dog on the breakfast menu? No, but when I go into Italian restaurants, I never see spaghetti inside of a loaf of bread. And guess what?
Torpedo place made it good. Yeah, Divine Possibilities found something that worked. They figured it out. Yeah, but that doesn't work. Hot dog fried with a fried egg inside a tortilla. Can I get ketchup on that? I was with you, bro. I'm with you, Rob. We were tracking. I kind of agree with that. And mustard. You'll put ketchup on a fried egg, right? I tend to not. I only put ketchup on scrambled eggs. I don't eat Friday. Girls will definitely not go here. I'll tell you something else I'll do. I will do this in a second. I would take chow mein. Leftover chow mein. I don't like this. I'll take leftover chow mein from Panda. I'll put it in a bowl. I'll warm it up in the microwave and I'll put it in a tortilla. That's delicious. And I'll make a chow mein burrito. There is nothing wrong with that. Oh, my gosh. Those flavors go together fantastically. Oh, my gosh. Justin? Yes. What does your wife do? She stays at home. Okay. Thanks for calling. Hang out in the kitchen, Mike. Yeah. More specifically, Justin, what does she do with the food? Sorry about that. That's all right. When she was pregnant, she would take some sliced dill pickles and some...
either cheddar or mozzarella cheese and throw it in the microwave together. She'd make a hot pickle? Yes. Gnarly, gnarly, gnarly, gnarly, gnarly. It was the worst smell in the world. Oh, that's gross. Hot pickles mixed together. That's disgusting. Too many jokes. I'm being good. That is horrendous. Yeah, you should have. I don't want to. Skye, come on. Don't you do something a little out of the ordinary? Nothing? My grandfather used to put mayonnaise on his spaghetti. No. Oh, no. He's dead now, Skye, okay? I bet he has stopped that. Tell me how he did that. He would make spaghetti. He'd go into the refrigerator, get a jar of mayo. Scoop out a scoop and put it on top. With a knife, fork, or spoon? Spoon, I think. Like what kind of spoon are we talking? Are we talking a teaspoon, a tablespoon? Probably a tablespoon. Oh, wow. So get a scoop, plop, right on top. And I think he would mix it up. Okay. I don't care for that. Is that weird? Yes. Yes, I say so. I thought so, too. Yeah, that one's I couldn't do.
There's certain stuff I can't go there. What about... What if you tried it and liked it? Interesting. That one I can't get past. I can't get past the mental. What about... Because I think that mayonnaise is a little gross. I like mayonnaise, but it's got to be... To me, it's got to be used right, and there's certain places it ain't right. I got one for you. Go ahead. I had an ex-boyfriend that did this once. What? Where he would take tamales that you'd get, whatever. Trader Joe's. You can heat them up in the microwave real good. Take the tamale, put it in a biscuit, eat it. That's disgusting. Oh, I'd do that. It's way too much bread.
You wouldn't do that. It's too much of the same thing. It's too much bready bread. Rob doesn't know what a tamale is. No, I was thinking the green chili that comes on this burger. You are so East Coast white guy. I don't know what a tamale is. You are an East Coast white guy. Thank you. Ash, was that ex-boyfriend your last boyfriend that you just had? No. Is a few of them back? A few ex-boyfriends back? That's weird. Yeah. He would do it. He would do. He would eat like that all the time. Yeah. Say like you're talking like a tamale sandwich. Yeah. He would take like whatever he was eating and he would like just put it all together. So it would be like tamales in a biscuit. He'd like put the tamale in the biscuit and aren't. Skye doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. I couldn't be with a person like that. It was why I broke up with him, Skye. I'm serious. I was thinking of that. I figured out what your thing is. It's because when you were growing up, your mom would say, what do you want? What do you want? And she would do the individual thing. So you grew up never going out of your comfort zone. You got to have a macaroni and cheese burrito, kid. That's what you need stacked.
With a little bit of fried hot dog in it. With a little fried hot dog in it. Go away. Go away, sir. Stop it. Delicious. That sounds delicious. Stop it. No. But what about her order at. Cold Stone? Yeah, that is creepy. At Cookie Stone? The reason she can go with that is because, you know, it's sweets. It's childlike. She loves it. It's, come on. She's very childlike. Well, and lots of ice creams have things in them. Yeah, but none of those. Lemon sorbet, gummy bears. They're all different. And doo-doo, right? And bacon. And bacon goes in there. What do you put? You put lemon sorbet, you put gummy bears, and you put a third one that I was unaware of until we said it the last time. M&M's. Didn't know about the M&M's. Gnarly. 570-1053. Which is a totally different kind of candy flavor mixture for lemon sorbet. Oh, I love chocolate and fruit. Like the combination of chocolate and fruit is so delish. Can you imagine biting into an M&M only to have your jaw stopped short by a springy?
Gummy bear. Like, just the thought of that is, ah. That's like gum and eating, like, peanut M&M's. Yeah. It's like you put peanuts in your mouth, but there's gum mixed in with it. Hey, you guys are coming after me. Mr. Spaghetti Tortilla. Yum. And Mr. I don't know what a tamale is. Two words, yum. Mikey's show, hello. Hello. Mikey's show, hello. Yeah, hi. I was just listening to your show today. I'm curious how the people on the show would feel about mixing Top Ramen with garlic croutons. Top Ramen with garlic croutons. I have an issue. I have a major issue. I'll tell you what it is. The issue is that the garlic croutons, by nature, are filled with powdery herbs and spices. They're covered in herbs and spices. And to add that to Top Ramen, which is so...
Filled with sodium and like salt. It's like French onion soup. Yeah, that's a salt overload. No, it is not. You put a little cheese in that, man. That's a salt. Yeah. He just described that salt. It's too salty. I'm sorry. Oh, yeah. I can't do it. It's too salty. Have you guys ever taken the top ramen and keep it in the bag? You crush it up with your fist. You pound it on the table so it's all broken up into little pieces. All right. Then you take the little flavor pouch out, rip it open, and just dump it on there. on the dry top ramen that's all crushed up and they eat it like chips. Are you crazy? We've all done that, right? I've never been that poor. Dude, I couldn't afford water. I couldn't afford water. Sometimes they shut it off and I'm not scooping it out of the toilet. Rob, did you really do that? Like you would eat it like a little snack, like finger foods? I don't want soup all the time, dude. Sometimes I want chips. Buy chips. Yeah, get some chips. Bill Gates. We've all done that, right? No. Never once. What am I, Stephen King over here? Drew Carey. Drew Carey.
The people that he considers rich and classy. I love it. They're the best. I love it. Another one. What am I, Roman Polanski? The richest person he could think of. When I am filthy rich, have you guys ever had jelly? Preferably strawberry jelly with cream cheese on a sandwich. Greatest thing on earth. This doesn't trip me out. No, I'm not tripped out by this either. If you get the cream cheese soft enough, and it's a very light spread. Hey, if they can put cream cheese in sushi, which they do, that's a, what do they call that, Eddie? Philly. Yeah, Philly? Yeah. Philadelphia roll. Philadelphia roll. They put cream cheese in it. Try it today. Remember when I taught you about that malt side of vinegar, whatever? What did you teach me? With the french fries and the vinegar. You invented that, Rob? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What is your problem? How dare you? The rocks on you to say that. Wow. I taught you that. We shared a moment. Can I tell you what he taught me? Yes. He just had a different application is all. He soaks them. He soaks them. He takes a separate little dish, and he puts a very...
Like about a one-inch layer of the malt vinegar. And then he takes about two or three fries and he just throws them in there and lets them just hang in there for a little while and get to be friends. Chill out, guys. Oh, that's gross. And then after they've become mates, you have it down. You take your chips out after they've had a chance to melt in there a little bit. And then down that arch. They've got to marry up in there a bit. So you're welcome for that. And then you can thank me about the cream cheese and jelly thing later. Lindsay. I can afford peanut butter. Lindsay, are you there? What do you do? I take my pizza and I dip it in applesauce. What is the matter with you? Why? Yes, thank you. Why? I'll tell you why. Why? I know exactly why. Why? She's done it since she was a toddler, no doubt in my mind. That's something a toddler does, is take a piece of pizza and go, ah, da, da, and stick it in applesauce and eat it. Yeah. How long have you been doing that? How long have you been doing that? Yeah, since I was a kid. Of course. That is so... Sorry. That was my abdomen. Your abdomen. Thank you, Lindsay. All right. Thank you, Mikey. Oh, my goodness, people. I used to dip my pizza in my soda when I was a kid. Stop talking, Rob. Rob used to dip his pizza in his soda. Is this Lila? This is Lilia. Lilia. What do you do? Or somebody you know does something.
Yes, my mother-in-law, the Frosted Flakes, she eats Frosted Flakes with American cheese. What in the world? How does she do that? Yeah. Yeah, she will grab a bowl of Frosted Flakes, and it has to be Frosted Flakes. She puts the milk in there, chops up little pieces of American cheese, and it'll sprinkle on it. What? That is so weird. How do you ever even come up with that? Yeah, how does that happen? I have no idea, but she swears by it, and she gets, she's trying. for me to try it. And I was like, no, thank you. He's the oracle. I don't need notes, Skye. When my hands become saturated in water, the palms get, like, disgusting. They look like a frog. Sean. Most of you listening right now, I don't like you. Okay, wait. I don't like you very much at all. Boston Rob. Do you guys know that if I don't write stuff on my hand, I'm an idiot? And Ashley. Just because I like oyster stuffing does not mean that I am an oyster. You keep saying it, oyster, but you know the real deal. The Mikey Show's on. Top of the morning to ya. Rock 105.3. Got an email from Eddie's brother-in-law, Tim. I have not read it, but the subject is tortilla recipe. Gross. It is 9.03. The Del Mar Fairgrounds approved a policy that will crack down on weed, but only at reggae concerts. The Cowboys try to make a positive move, trade for the Lions wide receiver Roy Williams for a first, third, and sixth round draft pick. Okay, I've got it open now. Are you ready for this? He says, hey bro, I'm stuck in the lab and my phone service is wishy-washy at best while I'm here. But here is something that I like to call the Hoffman favorite. Take one large tortilla and lightly crisp it on the oven top.
Add, in any order, one fried egg, diced jalapenos, a leftover Arby's sandwich and bun attached, three packets of Arby's sauce, leftover curly fries. He's not kidding. He is 100% not kidding. He's not kidding. This isn't a joke. I guarantee you he's done this. I guarantee. Not just done it, but probably done it a few times. Leftover pizza crust. In this particular case, he says, in parentheses, two days old. I'm glad he's clear about that. And, and I'm quoting, a dabble of ketchup. A dabble. A dabble. Not a sprinkle. A dabble of ketchup. A dabble. I don't know what that is. Add another tortilla on top. Okay. It's like a torta. He says. Roll it like a newspaper you're about to swat flies with and enjoy. This is where the men are separated from the boys. Oh, that's so gross. Leave one small fry on the counter. Slam some pink lemonade to give you that thick coat of film in your throat. Easy for swallowing. Let your mouth water a touch.
Then let a long dribble of spit go down over the counter and pick up that fry and slurp it right back up in your mouth. Just like a fly. Your friends will not only think that you are handsome and dope, but possibly even a witch or a mild level magician. That's what he says. That's what Tim says. That's Eddie's brother-in-law. Mikey, Ashley, I am me saying she'd use Terry Schiavo's picture on Facebook. That's P1 Oddball. That's awful, Ashley. I can't even believe that you would say that or do that or in any way be associated with that. I would never ever say that except for that one time. Mikey, the song Come See the Ducks is a hit. That's P1 Chad Kroger. Oh, nice. There you go. This is a... This is some Asian kids that are foreign exchange students that moved into my neighborhood and are renting out one of our rooms as audition space. This is their song called Come See the Duck. That's good. Is it Come Feed the Duck? No. Come See the Duck. That makes more sense. Sky, what are they saying there? Really gonna what? It's gonna gonna? Yeah. It's gonna what? It's gonna. It's gonna. If you think about it. It's just duck. Yeah.
So it's like, what is really the duck, you know? I think all of us have a hidden duck inside of us. Call it my inner duck. Yeah. I've heard that. It's creative. Yeah. Thank you. It's normal. P1 Chaos is a black dude. Text us and says, hey, Mikey, totally down with a macaroni and cheese burrito combo. And I'm a brother. I also enjoy dried top ramen chips just like B-Rob. Tell your boy Zeth to stop discriminating when it's screening phone call time. Ayo ain't the only brother with something to say. That is incredible. We know you love the In Nation, but man. That's taking it too far. Well, we can tell by that haircut. But man. But man. Wow. Mikey, back in the Philippines, we used to eat fried rat, boiled in coconut juice, then deep fry them, dip them in hot sauce, and soy sauce. That's P1 Pinoy. What do you think, Mike?
I would not do that. Really? I would not do that. Are you sure? Yes, I am sure. You've never tried it. What if it kept the little teeth on? Oh, there you go. Oh, that scared me. When you started to do that, I actually inside my body. Don't do that, please. That scares the inside me. Oh, that's an awful noise. And you can feel it moving around. All right, all right, all right. Just give it a chance. Oh, don't do that. Amen. Okay, all right. I tend to take my headphones off. Wow. Oh, that was disturbing. Don't be that way. So cute. Mikey, check this. Open a can of Chef Boyardee Beefaroni. I don't like where this is going. I already don't like where this is going. So far, so good. Open a can of Chef Boyardee Beefaroni and microwave it. Then throw in some Flamin' Hot Cheetos and top it with... Ranch dressing. So good. So good. It says so good. How do you come up with that? How do you ever come up with that? Why? Like that's all you have in the house? Now, wait a second, you guys. We do things that are not far from that. We dip French fries in ranch dressing. That's close to beefaroni. Yeah, that sounds so good right now. Rob's like, you know, anything bought would be great.
I've never had Chef Boyardee, for the record. Really? It doesn't surprise me. Your mom would never buy Chef Boyardee. Oh, come on. Chef Boyardee is, it's a... You know, it's that pasta, but it's soaking in just, like, straight tomato sauce. That's what it is. And it's, like, tangy. Yeah, tangy, sweet tomato sauce. No. Nothing like tomato. And it's awesome. It's really good. My favorite sauce. The little, like, meatball thing. Oh, yeah, dude. Woo. Sean, do you still, to this day, do you eat Chef Boyardee? Oh, yeah, bro. What do you like? What do you eat? I like the mini raviolis. They're very good. You have to go with your Gerber's applesauce. Well, you eat baby food. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, but what does one have to do with the other? No, I don't eat carrots. What do you eat? Plums? No, I told you guys. Zucchini? Are we saying things that are sort of like ridiculous? I would think so, yeah. Okay, what's a non-ridiculous baby food for a 38-year-old adult man to eat? Thank you.
Well, I like the blueberry buckle. I think that's really good. What is a blueberry buckle? It's a blueberry, you know, dessert, treat. You eat a baby food out of a jar called blueberry buckle? Look, I didn't name it. You ought to be arrested. Thank you. You're a pedophile. Pedophile? Wait a second. Don't you think that's a little strong? I'm sorry. No. Okay. Okay, he takes that one back. I don't. Don't do it, Eddie. I'm calling the cops. Seriously. Hey, Chris Hansen's on the line. This is messed up. And I know that's not the only one you eat. No. Yeah, what do you eat besides blueberry buckle? You know, like there's some banana things and it's all like fruit stuff. No veggies? No, no, no. Don't say. That would be ridiculous. First of all. Don't say some banana thing. What's it called? Is it called banana check? Well, no. What is it called? I honestly don't know. Yes, you do. I don't know exactly what it's called. You know blueberry bonnet, but you don't know the banana. Blueberry buckle. One of them is, it's just bananas. But another one is like a banana, like a pineapple mixture.
And it's called Roseanne Banana Dana. You're weird. You're dumb. Mikey, I put peanut butter and jelly in a tortilla. That's obviously not bad. Skye will make her own, like, you know, tortilla crispas with cinnamon. Yeah, that's normal. That's normal. You've never heard of cinnamon twists before? No one's ever heard of said thing? Like, that's crazy. Butter on a tortilla and sprinkling cinnamon is delicious, no doubt about it. Yeah, exactly. Let me tell you something, though. That's normal. You take that to the boys in Tijuana, they'll laugh you right out of the business. They don't do that for real. That's a white girl thing. Well, yeah. That's a white person thing. I'm not trying to be authentic, but, you know, this isn't my idea. So what's bad about putting peanut butter and jelly on there? Who does that? Like, is there a store that sells that? No. Yes. Yeah, PB&J's. PB&J's does it. Yep. The Mexamerican is what it's called. That's right. Ooh. You're so dumb. My husband will take double fudge brownie ice cream and make it into a float using Sprite. Oh, my gosh. Sweet overload. That is clearly wrong. That is disgusting. You can't use clear liquid. Yeah, you jerk. Rupia.
Mikey and Julian, everybody puts cheddar cheese on their apple pie. That's good. I've heard about that, but I won't ever try it. I've had it. I've had it a million times. One million times. One million. I don't care for pies, but I have apple slices and I put cheddar cheese on them, and it's so good. Yeah, that's okay. Finally, one. That is the first thing I've ever heard Sky do that's not in the norm. I like it. Thank you. I would eat that. Thank you, Skinner. This guy puts peanut butter in his celery all the time. That was my big treats growing up. Carrots and peanut butter, which I think is a little different. That is different. Down with that? These were my treats growing up. These were my desserts. Hardcore desserts. Right? Real hardcore. The Mikey Show. That's the ultimate hang zone. All right. Better mileage tips presented by Chevron. Here's an easy one. To improve mileage, come by Chevron and fill up. With air. That's right, air. When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your tires? Can't remember? Then it's definitely been too long. Did you know even tires in good shape can lose about one pound of pressure a month? And underinflated tires make your engine work harder, lowering your mileage. But don't overinflate them. You can usually find the recommended tire pressure on a sticker located on the driver's side door jamb. And speaking of air, air conditioning is not so hot for your car's mileage either.
Whenever you turn it on, it puts an added strain on your engine. Now, at highway speeds, it's probably better to use the A.C. rather than roll down the windows because of the aerodynamics. But around town, enjoy the fresh air. And that's another great way to get the most out of your Chevron with Tecron. Learn more mileage tips by visiting chevronwithtecron.com. by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. On the right is improving, but you're still going to find some heavy brake lights in a couple of spots here. There's an accident, actually set up on 7 to 5, jammed up right approaching Santa Fe Drive for some reason. Not quite sure what that is, but watch for some brake lights there. You will find some more brake lights farther south, though. There is an accident blocking the right-hand lanes just past Genesee as you come in downtown towards the Temple here. Injuries are involved. Medical crews are on the scene. Watch for the heavy brake lights there. South 15, a minor delay here as you come down to Carmel Mountain Ranch. Not too bad. South 163, though, is seeing some heavy traffic through the park coming from Washington to the park in the downtown. And westbound 56, a minor delay for the 5 through Carmel Valley. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. I got lightheaded. I got lightheaded. San Diego's rock. The Mikey Show continues with Mikey. I consider myself the perfect Mexican. Wow. Eddie. I love Christmas. Sky. I have no... problem admitting when I'm wrong. I'm just rarely wrong. Sean, you know I'm really terrible at getting gifts. Yes. Boston Rob. Keeping it petite. That's what I'm doing. That sounded hard. And Ashley. I don't get along very well. I don't think with like normal, boring people. Oh, come on. Wait a minute. It's the Mikey Show on The Rock.
My wife's freshman high school portrait has really kept me inspired today. I see why. Circa 1987. Wow. Actually, I bet that's 1990. I'll bet you anything that's 1990. My wife, I think, was class of 92. Wow. What were you, Sky? 95. 95? You're young. What were you, Ashley? 2001. Oh, my goodness. That's weird. What were you, Rob? Originally, 2000, and then I did the five-year plan. 2001 is when I ended up graduating. Wow. Yeah. Zef? 2003? Just a baby. Punch yourself.
Wow, Zeth is from the high school class of 2003. That's crazy! Man, that's cool. Bill of Rights came out the year I graduated from high school. It was really awesome. How about that, Ashley? Good for you, kid. Good for you. A drunk guy tried to hijack a Turkish Airlines passenger jet. Sorry. Yeah, it was a flight from Turkey to Russia, and I guess this out-of-control drunk guy. Just decided he was going to try and hijack the plane. So they're not really releasing many details right now. But a Turkish airline spokesperson said. He woke up the next day and goes, what did I do last night? I can't remember what I did last night. Must have been a wild night. A spokesperson for the airline said that the flight experienced an urgent situation but wouldn't give any other details. There were over 160 people on board. Oh, wow. I'm drunk. What are the details? Shut up, Eddie.
Hillary Clinton says it's not very likely that she'll run for president again. Oh, thank you. Oh, Lord. Do we believe that? Well, D-E-R. I certainly hope so. That guy just doesn't have it. I am ready to rumble. Whatever. You can call me Hillrod. No, I don't think she'll run again, Sky. No? Uh-uh. She came so close. Yeah. But yet not. It was so close. Not so far. Okay. They're making... Progress with the L.A. wildfires. Yeah, it's very good to start getting all these fires in the state under control. They say, let's see, the Potrero Ranch fire is 20% contained, and then the other fire, which is in northeast San Fernando Valley, is 80% contained. That's good. That's so good. Sky, you got the American Music Award nominees? Mm-hmm. What do we have? Who's going to be in there? Who's doing it?
Okay, so they announced the nominees yesterday. I love awards. Yes. Yeah. The person with the most nominations is Alicia Keys with five nominations. In second place, it's a tie. She's the Keys knees. Four nominations. Both Coldplay and The Eagles got four nominations. The Eagles? The Eagles. Right? This guy's reading the list from 74. Yeah. Yeah. So what category you want to know? We have favorite male artist. Yeah, male artist. Justin Timberley. Yeah, Justin Timberley. Chris Brown, Kid Rock, and Usher. Does that upset you, Kid Rock? Chris Brown! Yeah, I mean, I don't see why. I mean, I'm not really upset. It's just that new song I'm not a fan of. So for favorite female artist, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Dionne Warwick, and Mariah Carey. What's it, Sean? Chili today? Hot tamale? That's right. Right? Did that work? Well said. Not exactly. Well, I tried. All right. Well, good for you. And then favorite alternative rock artist, Coldplay, Foo Fighters. Blink-182. Linkin Park. Ah, Blind Melon. Oh, yeah. Okay. Best new artist. Best new artist, ladies and gentlemen. Their rookie year, it's the Eagles.
This sounds nice, right? You try and play drums and sing, bro. That's what I'm saying. Okay. I always thought that him and Phil Collins should get together and make like a drum band. Oh, yeah. That's good. What about this one? Oh, come on. Reminds me of 70s haircuts and the smell of beer on my dad's breath. It's great, man. I love it. It's so awesome. Me smelling beer every time he'd laugh. Oh, that's great. They don't make music that's all like that anymore. You know what I'm saying? They don't do that, Sky. They don't make music that's all meaningful. These young kids. I think they do. Now you got your Justin Timberlees, you know. Okay. Give me some of them lyrics, dude. Yeah, cry me a river, bro. What about this, Sky? Well, we can do it. Sky. Yeah, what's up? Survivor told McCain to stop using their song, Eye of the Tiger. Yep.
Whoa. They're just now added to a long list of artists that have said. Really, Survivor? Yep. I mean. Come on. They did not give them permission. Because they don't want it to tarnish their image. Is that it? Yeah, they did not give them permission. They don't want us to remember you. Yes. They say it makes people believe that they support McCain and Kalen. They wouldn't want people to think that. They do not. No, please. You know what I mean? They did not give permission. Yeah, because when he played it. I was actually an Obama supporter, but then I was like, wait, Survivor likes him? And then I switched parties, and I was like, then I think maybe I will too. Survivor supports Dennis Kucinich. Yeah. So they're like, hey, guys. Be cool. Please be cool. Let's see. I think I've done all the big entertainment stories. I have one here that says Lauren says she's ready to leave the hills, but I don't even know what that means. Whoa, Ashley, break it down. Don't even know what it means. That's crazy. How can she say that when she makes so much money? Is she a big star in it? She's the number one star, Mike. She's the biggest star, right? She's the biggest star, and she makes $75,000 per episode for being herself. Ashley remembered that, man. I will never forget that. She's so mad. Fact.
We're doing a fake reality show. I watched the latest episode yesterday of the girls. Oh, that is the worst. Ash, Google me up a picture and I am it. She's gorgeous. You're going to like her a lot. Who's Lauren? She looks like Marsha Brady. Lauren what? Lauren Conrad. Conrad. I know that name. She's really pretty. Not much of a personality. She looks like Marsha Brady. Blonde or brunette? Blonde. Yeah, Lauren says that it's coming to a point where she loves the show so much, but she's kind of ready to walk away. She says she's been doing The Hills for five years now. Oh, yawn. And five years on TV is a really, really long time. Didn't we have it all? Thanks for the memories. We could have been happy together. Didn't we have it all, you know? Didn't we have it all? The nights we spread together. Okay. Yeah. Get it. I like it, but I think you should add a word in there somewhere. Yeah, for sure. I really like what you're doing with it, but why don't you add the word almost? Oh, no, it doesn't flow as well. Come on. I don't know. Try it again, mate. Didn't we have it all? I'm definitely right. We could have been happy together.
You can stop singing then, mate. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, that's Lauren Conrad. She's pretty. Never seen her in my life. Hey, our bro Kyle Turley's on the line. He is? I'm not sure what... Oh. What fur? I don't know. Cool. Kyle's cool. Had him on the night show when he was just coming out of college. San Diego State, bro. That's right, dude. Do you play for Kansas City? Does he play for them right now? No, he's retired. Kyle Turley is retired? Why? He's good, right? Well, I mean, he's always good, but it's time. A lot of injuries caught up to him. I think I could take him arm wrestling. Oh, stop it. Don't say that. What if it was my right arm and Ashley was helping me? No. Still couldn't do it, right? No way. What about my... No? Probably not. Definitely not.
Kyle Turley. Mikey. How are you? What's up, bro? I'm good, brother. How are you doing, man? I'm good, man. What are you doing? I'm out in Southern California right now, man. I'm just enjoying the retired life and not getting beat up anymore. Wow. Where are you living here? No, I'm actually living in Mexico now. Oh, that's... Yeah, I've been at a place down south of La Paz, north of Cabo, for about eight years. football, so I'm full-time down there. I opened up a restaurant and a bar and kicked an ass. Do you speak Spanish? Un poquito. And your whole family is down there with you? Is your whole family down there with you? No, no. Just myself. Another buddy of mine from San Diego State, Dwight Chornamud. We're doing it down there, yeah. What about the music, man? Are you still doing that? Still doing it. Yeah, I got the record label, and we're having an event October 31st, Halloween, a full costume party. Where at? Brick by Brick. There you go. Yeah, one of the bands on my label is Unset. They're based out of San Diego there. Unreal, we're about to release their album. It's a phenomenal album. I can't wait for people to listen to this thing.
Having a huge party, CD release at Brick by Brick, Halloween, full costume, no costume, no entry. Are you going to be there? Oh, I'm there for sure, and we're going to have a ton of people. There will be some celebrity guests there, and we're going to have some fun on Halloween. Are you going to go as Herm Edwards? I'm going to go as Batman Jones, actually. Oh, good. Yes. Kyle Turley's on the line. All right, let's talk some football, Kyle. Let me get your opinions and your takes on different stuff happening in the NFL. Let's talk Pac-Man. Now, do you say let's discipline him for a couple of games, let's give him four games off, but then let's give him another shot, or do you say you're done in the NFL? I don't think the guy should have got the second. Wait a minute. It's not a second chance. It was the sixth. chance. And I'm sorry, but for a guy who busted his ass in the NFL for 10 years to try and just at least get a shot after a bad back injury, for them to just give guys like that who have no self-control and are just a complete negative for the National Football League to get million-dollar contracts, I just don't understand it. And I'm sure it's...
you know, going to feed over into Michael Vick when he gets out of prison. He'll be signing a multi-million dollar deal the minute he walks out the cell. If you were instated as the new commissioner of the NFL today, would you be able to change any of this? What would you do? Oh, man, I don't know. I mean, obviously, there's a hierarchy. The commissioner isn't necessarily the guy that calls the shots, that's for sure. The owners are the ones that collectively decide everything in the National Football League, as we saw with the Pac-Man Jones thing with Jerry Jones and him getting Pac-Man from the Titans and making that deal happen. Nobody else seemed to want to touch that thing, but if certain owners want certain things to happen, they're going to. Kyle Turley's on the line. So, Kyle, let's say a team called you today. Do you think that your body still has enough in it to play in the National Football League if you wanted to? For the right amount of money, yes. Really? Oh, yeah, yeah. For the right amount of money, I'll go get back in the gym and put about 25 more pounds back on. But I'm leaning mean right now and doing some toe surfing with Channy every now and then and enjoying my retired life. I really am and ready to move forward. But if somebody called right now,
offer me enough money, then, you know, at this point in my life, money talks, you know. It rules the world, as we see with the market and the economy and everybody freaking out. So, you know, I wouldn't turn down a few coins in my pocket. I always wanted to see you in a San Diego Charger uniform. I always wanted to see that. Me too, brother. Yeah. Me too. I tried. I tried really hard. I tried to get it when I traded from... New Orleans, and I was demanding a trade. I told him the only team I wanted to go to is San Diego, and your boy Spanos Ixnated, and A.J. Smith Ixnated even more. Apparently, I wronged that cat somewhere along the line, and I don't even think I ever met the dude. So maybe he's friends with Mike Martz. I don't know. You know, hey, man. I would have loved to have seen it. You know, Kyle played with a... certain kind of tenacity and a certain kind of attitude that you have to have as an offensive lineman. Have you ever thought about coaching, Kyle? You know what's funny, man? If they make a coaching change at San Diego State, which I'm sure they're going to with the seasons that they've had over the past few years in this coach,
I've heard some rumors about Kennedy Pola, the backs coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who was our coach at San Diego State, very interested in getting that San Diego State job. And if that happens, that could pull me back to San Diego and begin a coaching career if that took place, for sure. So you could see it happening. You could see coaching kids up as an offensive line. Yeah, in a certain way. I mean, on the side of the individual, I really like to work with guys on an individual level. Coaching's a very committed job. I mean, you're there all the time. But with the right people, with the right staff, and going back to San Diego State with a purpose, you know, I mean, that's the alma mater. They've been horrible since I left. And to come back there and help regenerate that program, there would be a little bit more incentive to definitely get into coaching. But right now, I'm not really interested. But if something like that were to occur, then I could get back and be with the Aztecs again. It would be unreal. Kyle, what's the last movie you saw in a theater? The last movie? I don't even know, man. I've been down in Mexico for the last four months. I haven't even seen a movie in four months. I don't even remember.
So you're down. Wow, man. You've been down in Mexico for four months. Yeah, I just drove back to Nashville from La Paz and then loaded up my crap and I'm in SoCal right now on my way back down. No, what? I'm moving there. Now, how long are you going to be in SoCal? I'm here this week. We're leaving this weekend. Come hang out in the studio. I want to come in tomorrow morning, bro. I want to play on set. You're going to love these guys. You're going to trip out. This is the band of the year coming up, man, and we're going to set them off, right? And hopefully San Diego can get behind them and really help me out with this record company thing. It's such a hard business, man. I never knew what I was getting into, but these guys are legit, and I would love to come in the studio, play a little of that, talk a little more football, and hang out with you guys for sure. Cool. All right, we can do that. We'll do that tomorrow. You know how to get down here, right? I do. I definitely know how to get down there. All right. Just, you have our inside line. So come down here, and then when you get here, call on the inside line. We'll send somebody out. We'll bring you in and talk a little football and hear what your band sounds like. Chiller, man. You're going to love them. Right on, brother. All right, man. All right. Take care. We'll see you, Kyle. It's Kyle Turley. That's cool. Yeah. He's been a friend of the show for years. He was so fun to watch play. I mean, that guy. He's crazy. He was a very intense. He's a very, very intense football player, for sure. Hey, Jim.

The Van Death Leopard has issued an apology after mishandling the Stanley Cup on stage in Detroit last week. The Dodgers are going to try and survive tonight in Game 5 of the NLCS. L.A. is down 3-1 in the series with the Phillies. If I had a dollar for every time I've had to apologize for mishandling the Stanley Cup, I'd be a millionaire. Really?
The worst one was the time I took a bath in it. Oh, wow. I bathed in it. With what? Well, if you must know, Johnson & Johnson No Tears Baby Shampoo, if you must know. That's good stuff. That's great. It goes in my eyes. It doesn't even sting. It doesn't sting at all. I would like an apology for that. I apologize. Okay. I don't accept. Asked and answered. In Pennsylvania, a woman that brought a gun to her daughter's soccer game. Got her weapons permit back. So just so you guys know. Just so you guys know. Yeah, this is weird. People were freaked out because, you know, during the summer. So it's kind of warm. Getting to the point where nobody can take a joke anymore. You know what I mean?
Nobody has a sense of humor about anything. I don't want to live in a world where a woman can't bring a gun to a soccer game. To her kid's soccer game. I don't want to live in that world. Is that what we've become? That's who we are now. We've become a society of non-gun-toting soccer moms. Thank you, Obama. That's great. This is what it's come to. Yeah. Well, she said, you know, that she does have a permit to carry a concealed weapon because of what her husband does for a living. He's 007. But she won't say exactly what that is. But she said because it was summertime, you know, it's not like she had a jacket on, so you could easily see her weapon. And she said for some reason it freaked everybody out. It's garbage, man. took away her permit. What if the goalie gets out of hand? What is she supposed to do? They're five-year-old girls playing soccer. You know what I'm saying? It takes brass balls. Sean likes watching his TV. Whatever Sean likes sounds good to me. Whatever Sean likes. Well, you know that it might be not as gay as something. Watch my Mikey when he's watching. You know he's standing up. This is Sean TV.
Sean routinely watches television. I like TV, Mike. He watches everything on. Everything, Mike. Yes, every channel. Yeah, he watches everything on there. I like most TV. And so, he knows stuff that we've never heard of before. Maybe one or two things. Well, maybe everything, okay? Um, eh. I love it when Sean, like, He considers it? Yeah, he thinks about it. Uh, no. It's such a joke, Sean. We know you're not really considering anything. Yeah, you're not. You're just saying no. Yeah, we figured it out. Yeah, it's not true. And you would think, like, with the new fall season, we'd hear things, you know, make new shows that we've heard of. Yeah. But no, or, you know, at least seen commercials for. Yeah. Not on Sean TV. No. Well, they do run commercials for most of these shows that I watch. On what? Like G4? Yeah. Some. Some. Okay. So what do you have today, Sean? Well, Mike, first, let's go to one of my favorite channels right now. RFD TV, channel 231 on Dish Network and on DirecTV channel 379. RFD. Ready for this one. What is RFD? I don't even think I get that channel. You do. You have DirecTV. You get it. But I've never seen it. Well, you've never seen it because you've never gone that high in your channels. No, that's not true. You only have to go up to channel 379. What's RFD?
It stands for Rural Free Delivery Television. Oh, no. I'm uncomfortable. Oh, no. And on Rural Free Television, they have a lot of different shows that cater to the rural lifestyle. One of those shows is called Cowboy Flavor, Mike. And if you'd like to get a visual for the show, you can go to cowboyflavor.com. Is this like... Is this like basically public access television? How dare you? This is a professional operation. What is it, Scott? Cowboyflavor.com. Look at the screener, Mike. Come on. I don't know why you're laughing. This is asinine. So that's where Seth's mustache went. I was wondering what happened to it. This is asinine. This show features Billy and Sue Ruiz, and they are both campfire chefs. You've got to be kidding me. And why don't we go ahead and just listen to the opening of the show. This is fantastic. Welcome to Cowboy Flavor, outdoor cooking at its finest.
On this episode of Cowboy Flavor, we're making braised short ribs in the Dutch oven. Sounds good. Valencian. Wagon wheel Caesar salad. Zucchini pancakes. And blueberry corn muffins. Hey, we're glad you made it. Now get on in here close, because it's time for Cowboy Flavor with Billy and Sue Ruiz. He watches this. Cowboy Flavor had its show. Back in 1492. When the Ruiz family hit stride. Columbus sailed the blue. Oh, yeah. He watches this. Eddie's looking at me right now. Like, dude, this is being heard on the air. We're on the radio right now? Eddie, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. What do I say? They don't have enough bandwidth. I know. I know. None of us can connect. Click on links on the page and it's freezing up. They've been overwhelmed. You know that Cowboy Flavor is not prepared for the web hits we're getting. Bobby Sue. We need some help. We just got six hits. Wait a minute. Is this still the theme song? Yeah, it is, dude. It is, Mike. How long? Paris Ranch Beef. Cowboy Living. Bar Brothers. Cowboy Campfire Grill. Stone Horses. Camp Chef. And by Arbuckle Coffee. Hasn't been available. Arbuckle Coffee.
since 1961. You have to make it yourself. This is still the theme song. Oh man, that was a treat. That was a treat. I don't know about that. So, you know, Mike, the great thing about Cowboy Flavor is not only the campfire cooking that they show you how to do, but also it's the tips that you get along with making the food. One thing, we've added some tomatoes and tomato paste into these Dutch ovens. You've got to remember that there's a lot of acid in the tomato product. I get what you're doing. What we do is as soon as we get this cooked and served, We'll clean these Dutch ovens real good and then re-season because the acid will take some of the cure off of the side of these. Never leave tomato products in here overnight because it just raises heck with the sides of your Dutch oven. Yeah, and part of the deal is you want to keep a nice cure on these. What's that? We'll wash them, clean them good, re-season, and they're ready to go. All right. See what I'm talking about, Mike? So not only do you get the recipes.
Would you give those helpful tips? What is Lou Ferrigno, the sound engineer on that? What is going on? All right, okay, enough fun, enough fun. So why don't we come back from commercial break now, Mike, and let's join them for the final break of the show. 40-minute rejoin. He wore a blue band. Oh, come on. What is this? We're coming back from commercials. What's on the screen? We're going to recap what we did here today. Sue did a wagon wheel Caesar salad. We did zucchini pancakes. Blueberry cornmeal muffins in corn husk. We did a braised short rib and crawdad Valencia. Guaranteed this guy's never seen the inner light. Everybody please enjoy. And from our camp to yours, best to the West. Thank you. And what you're hearing over the head is the sound of freedom. God bless the Marine Corps. It's right next to my skull. I hate them panel jockeys. There it is, Mike. It's called Cowboy Flavor. Kids, stay away from the peyote.
With Billy and Sue Ruiz, you can catch it on DirecTV channel 379, Dish Network channel 231, and you can see it every Friday at 3.30 p.m. Answer Eddie's question. Every Saturday at 1.30 a.m., 1.30 p.m., Sunday at 1.30 p.m., and Thursday at 2.00 a.m. That's not TV. I'll see you there. I really want to know the answer to Eddie's question. Yeah, it's legitimate. I wasn't listening. What did he say? Aren't you ashamed of yourself? How's it going? I'd rather listen to this than what we just heard. Thank you. How about that show? That's how bad it is. That's how bad it is. Welcome to Cowboy Flavor. I'll go cooking and it's fine. Good morning, family. This is the Mikey Show. How am I supposed to come on the radio after we just heard Cowboy Flavor? Right? You're not. That guy is something else. We can strike it up again if you want. No, I don't want you to strike anything up again. I have an extra break if you want to hear it. It's all right. You're in your campfires.

If you're talking about the internet, then there is the internet.
Virtually hundreds of songs. Hundreds of songs available on the internet. Literally. Thank you. You could also order. Physically. You could also order clothing from the internet. All you have to do is fill out the order form and fax it to the manufacturer. Wow. That is pretty cool. Technology. And they will send you whatever piece of clothing that you order from the internet. Wow. They offer all kinds of different musical formats. Tons. I myself am a country fan. Guilty as charged. Let's see. Mikey, have you ever tried popcorn with melted black licorice? No. No. Really? No. Melted black licorice. Disgusting. We're Americans. Why would we do that? First of all, black licorice is like... It's so gross. Yeah, it's pretty bad. It's the worst tasting thing ever. There's only two people, two kinds of people in the world. People that like black licorice and people that don't. I think there's only two people in the world that like black licorice. That may be true. I don't know who they are. I think my dad's one of them. For real? Yeah. It's not okay. It's bad for you. Well, different people have, you know, like their brain. I can't have, I can't have. Cilantro. Cilantro.

I grow arugula in my house and you either really love it or it tastes real bitter to you. My wife hates it. My dad hates it. I love arugula. You eat it plain? Very peppery. I would like to see how you process it, Skye. Well, Seth and I don't know what it is. It's just lettuce. It's like a type of baby lettuce. Okay.
But to me, it tastes nutty. It's nutty and buttery and, oh, it's so good. You know what it tastes like to me? It tastes like pine nuts to me. Do you eat it plain? You put it in salad. Yeah, a little balsamic on there, dude. A little balsamic. Oh, it's so good, arugula. Forget about it. It's my favorite thing. I love it so much. It's like eating. Okay, guy, we get it. I really like it, though, Sky. You want to be Seacrest and you're in love with the arugula. Mike, it's called the arugula and pear. pizza. It comes with prosciutto. Crumbled, Skye's favorite, gorgonzola. Yeah, she loves it. Arugula with the dressing and stuff on it and on top of the pizza. Skye. It's crazy good. Skye. No. I love arugula. Okay, I know.
Eat it. Why do you get one of those little heart necklaces? I have one. Put half in your garden. I have it. What do you want me to do? I do. I have that. Okay. Well, congrats. You are weird. Mikey, Sean TV is by far the best bit you guys do. I disagree with that. I totally disagree. It's one of the worst bits that we do. I wouldn't say that. It is. I don't know any of those shows, and you just played Cowboy Bob. Wait, Sean's considering it. Sean's considering it. Sean's thinking about it. Sean's thinking about it. I wonder what's going to happen. Yeah, what do you think he might do? Will he agree? No. I disagree. I disagree. He disagrees. I thought it over, though. Thought it over. Disagree. You need to try arugula. Who? I hate arugula. Sean, you don't know. Sean doesn't know. I do know. Sky. Stop it, Mike. I like arugula. You don't like it. Yeah, you love it. It's like honey baked. Oh, that's offensive. Nothing's that good. Oh, come on, Mike. Stop. You stop it. You rugula lover. Ham coming out of your eyes. What? Okay. I don't know. I don't know. Mikey, I just checked and cowboyflavor.com has
378 searches on Google. Nice. You're welcome. You want sofa. Yeah. I hope they're happy. You too. Mikey, I was recently in Hollywood this past weekend and went on one of those tours, and the word is going around of a possible prequel being made of the Joker from Batman. That's stupid. Well, you can't. He's dead. What? Heath Ledger's dead. But what if he plays a little guy? A little baby joker. Really? That's interesting. The only reason it was good is because he did it. Maybe if Dustin Hoffman did. Oh, well. It might be good. Wait, a prequel, though? Yeah, because he's a good actor. Or like Robert De Niro. But there are so much older. Oh, there it is. Jim J. Bullock. Jim J. Bullock. Sandra Bullock. Or Sandra Bullock. Andy Dick. Or Andy Dick. Dick Van Patten. What about, like, Sandra Moss from KUSI? Oh, that'd be wonderful. Or Cher. Good actress. There is always Cher. Oh, yeah. Or... John Cho. Yeah. Oh. Margaret Cho. Bobby and Thersaka. Oh, wow. Yeah. Danny Gans. That's not his name. You can't get it. That's not his name.
It might be. His name is Entertainer of the Year Danny Gans. Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Danny Gans. I didn't know who Sean was talking about until you guys said that. So rich. Now I get it. Is this urgent care? I just needed to know how to get down there. This is Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Danny Gans online. We'll put you right through, sir. Yeah, you can't do that unless Dustin Hoffman plays the role. The amazing Jonathan. Could play the role easily. We're talking about the Joker. Talking about the Joker. Yeah, it's good. I'm thinking about it. It says, I guess it will be something like Hannibal Rising in that they would show Joker's upbringing and what he went through to become the Joker, such as how he got his scars. What do you think of the possibility? I think it's a terrible idea. I don't like it. I think it's a terrible idea. If Heath were alive, I would say, yeah, let's do it. Well, they would be. Yeah. If Heath were alive. Oh, yeah, no doubt.
They would be doing that. Or they would just do a plain Joker movie. Yeah. Yeah. What would they call it? The Joker. Good name. Creative. I like it. Panda, panda, panda. China. China. Insulting. To who? Me. Why? Yeah. Does Sean have something about pandas? I don't know. Yeah, what do you mean? Why was it insulting? Do you have like a deal with pandas? I get it. It's not insulting. You're going to have to make that argument. There's the panda I'm sexually attracted to. There's the panda I'm sexually attracted to. Come on, Sean. Have a sense of humor. Have a sense of humor. Search for it on the internet.
Okay. You know. I think we're done, you guys, because I think we've hit, like, every last thing. Everything. You're done. In the world. You are done, sir. Everything in the world. Fine. Her friend had vertigo, and then she said that he was bedridden because he couldn't go anywhere. Well, it doesn't mean you're tired just because you're in bed, you know? You know, sometimes pregnant women have to get put on bed rest, and it's not because they're tired. They're wicked tired. He was lethargic because he had vertigo. Lethargic. I would go shirtless and applause. The studio audience began to applaud. Finally. Then I'm just curious, what does Beto think about that? I think it's great, dude. Oh, gosh.
