conversation we're having off the air. It is 6.05. I don't figure this out, but a report was released yesterday saying that the U.S. economy has been in a recession since December of last year. It is no big surprise. The Padres declined arbitration to Trevor Hoffman, meaning anybody could sign him. We were just talking about the phenomenon of older men wearing their jeans where the waist is like above their belly button. Yeah. With a belt. Well, you have to have a belt. Makes a look. And a button-down shirt tucked in. Oh, absolutely. And we were just, you know, we were like, I'm just trying to get a handle on it, you know? And I said, I think, this is just a guess, but I think it's because back in the day, that's where they were taught your waist is. This is your waist.
Therefore, jeans must be cinched at the waist. So the waist is right under your ribs. Yes. Apparently. I got it. I know what it is. Definitively, I know what it is. Okay. The reason that they wear their jeans that way is because they were taught years ago that the crotch of the jeans must be up snug in your crotch. regardless of where that puts your waist. Well, didn't in the 50s... They wear them real high, and then they wore, you know, like their pants rolled up at the bottom. Oh, that's true. Well, Mike, you know, I can speak to this because, you know, I've seen a lot of television shows like Perry Mason and I Love Lucy. And I'm here to tell you that, you know, especially if you watch I Love Lucy, William Frawley, who plays Ed, always has his pants pulled way, way up, Mike. That was weird when he said Patrick Frawley. No, well, I said William Frawley. William Frawley.
It's worse. It's worse. Holy cannoli. It's quite a phenomenon. You guys think that's the deal? That the crotch has got to be in the crotch? Hey, listen. Over the years, I think that evolution of fashion has brought the waist to be... The distance between the crotch and the belt line in jeans has gotten smaller. Except for older guys. They still like those old sort of... Yeah. Dungarees. Oh, that's what my dad calls them. Dungarees. Oh, yeah. That's what my dad calls them. He doesn't use the word jeans. Well, a lot of my friends back in mass, like my cousin, he's two years older than me, calls them dungarees. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Well, probably because, you know, to your friend and to Skye's dad, jeans is a new term. New meaning 1972. Yeah. You know, is when that started being used, you know. And it's just stayed new in there. I'm not going to use that new term. jeans whippersnappers yeah yeah guys uh 5701053 is the number and uh our text is 35253 and i'm mikey i'm the host of the show
My middle name is Plaxico. A lot of people don't know that. I had no idea. Michael Plaxico Esparza. That's awesome. That's why, you know, it's really weird, this whole Plaxico Burris stuff that's gone on. He tripped me off guard. Yeah, caught me off guard. Eddie is our producer, our sports guy. He is 35 years old. What's your middle name, Eddie? Dion. Dion is actually his middle name. Beautiful. So far, so good. Eddie Dion Papani. You know, listen, why did they name you that? What was the thought process? Did you ever ask? Well, my mom was a big Dionne Warwick fan. Oh, really? Yeah, so I mean, it's spelled differently. So it's not even like a guy Dionne. No, it's more masculine. It's spelled more masculine, but she still wanted to honor Dionne Warwick. Who didn't? Well, yeah. Skye is, and Skye's middle name is Alan. That's the best joke, yeah. That's the best joke. No, really, guys. No, guys, really. No, really. Her actual middle name is Alan. Whoa. That is not horrible. It's the truth. Hey, middle names can be whatever you want. I think Ashley and Pete Wentz showed up.
How can a parent be so cruel, Mike? I'm just saying, Ashley and Pete Wentz have shown us that you can use a middle name for whatever. That's right. What is their kid's name? Bill? No, they named their new baby Bronx Mowgli. No. Get out of here. You know Mowgli from the Jungle Book? You can't just make it. For real? That can't be true. Yeah, Bronx Mowgli Wentz. Oh, wow. They are kids, right? They should be arrested. I know. They should. So please. That's right. No. Whatever you want. Skye's our news girl. Thank you. She is 31. She's sweatering it up today. Yeah. Sean is our little green earphone wearing sound effects man. Sounds so good today. And he's 38. Today. Especially today. The sound changes. Vary sometimes. Oh, it's a good one today. This is nice. And then we have Ashley. She is.
25 years old. That's right. Yeah. Right, Ashley? Yeah. You're 25. Uh-huh. She has blonde hair and brown eyes, and she's from the Bay Area. She is our assistant producer, and she has a mom who has a really interesting voice. Hi, sir. Whoa. I love you. Have a good week. It's raining up here. Okay. That's not real. So, give me a call. I want to know how you're doing. I'll talk to you later. Bye. I mean, she makes great radio. That's just... Yeah, she does. Why? You sound so funny. Although, lately, every time I get on the phone with her, she can't stop saying the S word. Like, it's her new favorite word. Her new favorite thing is, oh, and she'll just say it. Oh. Everything. Yeah. Really? And I'm like, mom. That sounds like fun. That's mom. That's mom. It's crazy. We got to get you some kind of recording device for your phone, you know? I know it. So we can capture her. Let's see. Then there is Boston Rob. And if you've ever seen the TV show The Munsters, if you are. See, they knew exactly what I meant.
Perfect. I didn't even have to say. I have no idea where you're going. All I did, all I did was say, if you've ever seen the Munsters, and everybody on the show knew where I was going, his hair, Austin Rob's hair, it looks like Eddie Munster. It's so bad. Well, it's out of control. It is. What? It's out of control. Hey, man, haircuts aren't free, all right? I'll do it. I'll help you. This recession. Why don't you let us? Hey, listen, we'll put a call out there right now for, you know, somebody that cuts hair. And then we can have them come in. When we go to Vegas, I can take care of it. Oh, there we go. There we go. There it is right there. Decided. I dare you to. Decided. Sean comes in a hazmat suit. Can you imagine? He would. Wow, look at that. Oh, my goodness, you guys. Zeth just put up a picture of Eddie Munster. Oh, wow. Not bad, kid. He needs a little more of the widow's teeth. Uncanny. But besides that, dead on. Not bad, kid. We got to take a picture of Austin Rob and put it side by side with Eddie Munster. It's coming back. We have to put Rob in that outfit. Yeah. It is coming back. It's the new style. That's awesome. Wow.
Then finally, there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President and CEO. As seen on TV. Oh. It is. It's Zethian Oates. It's Zeth. He does our phone screening for us. And you can call us if you want to. 570-1053 is the number. And we would love to talk to you. And if you want to. You can even leave a message for us on our answering machine. And our answering machine number is 858-715-1923. So if you'd like, you can. Be real easy. Hello, Mikey Show. This is T1 Kung Fu. And I am all over this website trying to find the picture that you promised to post today. And it's not here. So why do you lie, liar? Wow, that is a good question. What picture? I believe what she is talking about. Called you out. I believe what she is talking about is the pictures, plural, the pictures. There's quite a few. Of Eddie and I from 1992 and where I am not only morbidly obese, but legally obese. I mean, and Eddie and I are both rocking.
the achy, breaky haircuts. Oh, yeah. So awesome. The pictures are mortifying. No, they're so great. That's the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning. It is. So awesome. Like, I just... Woke up and I said, I got to see that picture. Yeah. I want to wake up to it every day. You having a bad day? You sad? Seriously. It's inspirational. You're fine. And then you're fine. It's the truth. Everything's better. Just stop it. Oh, no. I get what you're doing. Uh-uh. You don't, bro. Times were good, man. Times were good. I even wrote Sky an email. I said, you got to remember to put these pictures up. And there, listen. They're humiliating. No. No, they're not. They're not. When you say the good old days, that picture comes to mind. You gotta be proud, man. You know what, guy? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Easy. Easy. Back when money was flowing nice. Oh, man. Recession. 15 years from now. The first Bush was in the White House. When we look at your haircut. Leather jackets. Everywhere. Eddie Monster. That's right.
Their jackets were everywhere. We will have to revisit this time. Collect a soul just hitting the scene. Skinny gold chains just flying off the store shelves. I know what you're doing. I know what you're doing. What? Who? I would spend my time. You know, I would spend my time doing dreaming on Dream Away. You know, you're going to have to stay. Stay forevermore. Yes. You know what? Yes. I love your smile. Oh, that's sweet. Oh, wow. And you know what else was a big hit that year is that Michael Jackson, Black and White was a big hit right around that time. Don't matter what you're saying. Oh, yeah. As long as you are black and white. Groundbreaking. Yeah, that video. Remember that? Yeah, groundbreaking that video. 570-1053 is the number. Give us a call right now. You can call us. Say hello. Say anything you want. Talk about what anything you want. Talk about what anything you want. Will you work on that? Just ignore it, Mike. I understood what you meant. Yeah. Yeah, trip out. We're in a recession. Just found out. Yeah. What do you think about that? Gosh, I didn't even know anything was wrong. That's right. Oh, shit.
Yeah, we've apparently, Sky, we've been in this sucker now for a little while. Is that the deal? Yeah. The group of economists that put together this report determined that, yeah, we've actually been in a recession since December of 2007. Oh, that's news to me. FYI, it's been ETW. Weird news. It's been going on for a while. So they say the most important thing we can do to turn this sucker around is get the financial and credit markets back to normal and to keep making progress in the housing market. I have a duty. I'm glad there's people that know about that. Yeah. Because I don't. I'm glad that I have not been appointed by Barack Obama to head that department. I don't know anything about it. Eddie, what'd you have for dinner? We had... Oh, no. Oh, that's good. Well, it's not going to be good for you. We had Outback, Curbside. It's right by my house. What do you want from me? I have discussed this with my husband. The next time we move, because he's already talking about the next house, because he can't. He's like a hobo. He can't stay in one place for too long. A rogue. Right? I said the next home we get needs to be near an Outback.
Because we're too far away. We can't do the kid inside. By the time we get it home, it's cold. It's ridiculous. It is ridiculous. So either someone... Calm down. First of all, it's ridiculous that there's not an outback in Escondido. Escondido is a big town. Like, what's the problem? I got a ride to Poway. I got a ride to Poway. She's got to get it out. She's been building probably for a while. Every time we pass an empty, like, lot in Escondido... It's perfect for an outback. I swear. I swear. I'll build it myself. I will. Give me a permit. Give me a hammer and a nail. Build me an outback. You are so lucky, Eddie. Sky, you get the same thing there every time? Mainly, yeah. You get filet. Yeah, well, we got a system, Mike. How do you cook it?
Well, if it's up to me, Mike, it would come medium well, but it's not up to me. Because your husband's going to eat some. Because my husband tells me the cook will spit on it. Yes. If I have the audacity to order it medium well. Okay, so you get it. It's an insult to the chef. The cook Ernesto at Nelfax is very insulting. He's an artist, according to Mike. The guy wearing the hairnet is going to feel insulted. So you get it medium. Yes, we compromise. Eddie, what did you eat? They have this thing called the teriyaki... What is it? It's a ribeye? It's a teriyaki ribeye. I wish I could have that right now. It's really good, man. I've had it the last couple times I've eaten there and I love it. You guys do any Cyber Monday stuff? I did, yeah. You did? Yeah. I participated in Cyber Monday. For Christmas? Yes. I probably got about eight or nine things. Really? Yeah. Good prices. You're still on top of your gifts. Actually, really good prices. Like half off. Half off of stuff, I mean. You get the gold star. It's like I'm done, but now I'm still buying stuff. I'm bored, really. Yeah, totally. Maybe for next year. Oh, good idea. Is that nice? We probably will. Eddie does.
Eddie infuriates all of us because at this time, he's like done. Well, what are you guys waiting for? I mean, you know, 23 days left. I hate it. We're in a recession, bro. It ain't going to happen. Show me the money. How about I had to write Sky, I texted Sky, ask her about that email site. Is that what it is, an email site where you type in the name of the place you want to go to and then it brings up a thing on your screen? He texts me, is the Cyber Monday website cybermonday.com? And I received that text and in my mind I'm going... It would be so much quicker to just test it and type it on Cyber Monday. That's what I did. I just Googled Cyber Monday and it came up. I don't know. I don't know. Let me give you an insight. Let me give you an insight to my paranoia. This is what I did. I'm laying there in bed, naked but under the cover. I don't need to know that. Now you're just showing off. Now you're just showing off.
Typing, not using your hands. That is not true. That is not true. All right, buddy. And I did. I Googled Cyber Monday. It brought up Cyber Monday dot com. I click on it and I'm thinking to myself, this is a scam. This is a fake website. Well, you don't actually buy anything on that website. It just shows you the ads for Cyber Monday. It takes you to their website. But the first thing I saw was this thing that said username, password on there. Shady. I didn't have to sign up for it. Let me see. This internet's like the wild, wild west. I don't blame you, Mike. So check it out. So I go to CyberMinday.com, right? And it says email password, confirm password. It says email alerts, right? All I know is it scared me. You know what that means, right? If you want them to send you emails. I know what it means. Give me your credit card information. We will clean you with the money in the bag.
We will clean you. Don't look at my face. Oh, man. You are a nut. How old are you, bro? So I go, I'm texting Sky, man. I got to make sure this is the right site. Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. I half thought she was going to text me back and say, no, dude, it's CyberMonday.org. And I was going to be like... Got ya. You didn't get me, and I ain't giving you my info. Oh, man. Way to go. I showed them. You sure did. Wow. But one guy showed me that it was safe. I was like, okay, fine. All right, fine. I'll shop. Here's my social. Here's my pin number. P1 Jason. Hello, Mikey Show. Good morning. How you doing, man? Okay, I just woke up, but I wanted to take the opportunity, since I'm already late for work, to go ahead and call in. Oh, all right. What's up, dude? I think this is the perfect time. I wanted to do it yesterday, but I couldn't listen to the show because I was traveling down to San Diego. Right. I live in Riverside, but I wanted to give props to Shawnee Oh Boy. Why? If you read his blog before you guys went on vacay on the Friday, before you left. Yeah.
He puts all this in perspective about how the economy is so bad and how we only have ourselves to blame because we were asleep at the wheel. Oh, he's a Libby, dude. Thank you, dude. You can't take any. That guy's crazy, man. You're the best. Sean gets it. Yeah. Listen. It didn't have a liberal slant, honest to God. That sounds good to me, man. I'll check it out. Let me confirm that what he's saying is not liberally biased, and then I will get back to you. Oh, boy. Well, he's made just a bigger fan out of me. He's only saying what we're all thinking. But I'm not... It's nothing groundbreaking. I'm not thinking that. Sean gets it. I'll look into this. You're a good man now. Get lost. All right. 570-1053 is our phone number. And, yeah, Sean hates his fans. Just so people know, he is not a fan of his fans. Which is different. Most people kind of appreciate their fans. He doesn't like them. He calls them pigs. And so they have affectionately started referring to themselves as piggies. So there you go. What happened to Monday Night Football, Eddie? Well, I know you mean, I'm a little surprised you didn't watch because it was such a good matchup. I figured we'd all watch the game and we'd talk about it because it was like one of those dream matchups. Those are my favorite.
Houston versus Jacksonville. Oh, yeah. What? That sounds boring. Can't do it. That's weird. I want winners. I know to everybody's surprise, Houston beat Jacksonville. Oh, I wasn't expecting that. I know. They did. 30 to 17. Shocking. Oh. And neither one of them are still going to go to the playoffs. That's really awesome. One of those things, I guess. That's really awesome. There it is. Sounds like it was a barn burner. It absolutely was. 5701053 is the number, and the text is 35253. Mikey Show, hello. Turn your radio down if you're calling in. What's up? You see this guy? This is an example of what a P1 is not. He's got his radio turned up too loud. This actually helps. Did he just turn it up? Yeah, I think so.
He's going to hear what's going on. You're spitting on our face. He's trying to illustrate what a non-P1 is. Got his radio turned up. Hi, is it him? Yeah, he doesn't realize it. Mikey Show, hello. Oh, young man. Little boy. Oh, that was weird. Turkey. That guy's driving. You know what I found out? The Ford CEO says that he's going to drive to D.C. for those, you know, because they got busted last time. Yeah, taking private jets while they were asking for billions of dollars worth of taxpayer money for a bailout. Oh, man. Yeah, so the General Motors and the Chrysler CEOs have not announced yet how they are going to get to these hearings in Washington. I know. I want to impress them.
Walk. Exactly. You know what? Hitchhike. Exactly. Show them how bad it is. Pack your stuff in a little bag. Put it on the end of a stick. Do it like Rob and go in the caboose. Caboose. Get your ride in the caboose. Take the stagecoach. They need billions of dollars of our money. What do you guys think about that? I think it's ridiculous. Sell everything you got and then come to us. Sell your jets, whatever. Sell your extra mansions. Stop taking your million-dollar bonuses and then come and ask for money. How is it going to get around then? Like the rest of us. Southwest. Hey, I'm fine with that, Sky, if that fixes it, but I don't think that'll fix it. I think that that's just to punish. Fix it. I'm saying fix it. How do we fix it? Fix it. Just fix it. Why don't we just let him go out of business because that's what old car companies used to do when they couldn't make it. Sorry, Charlie. That's what I'm saying, man. Charlie. You know what I mean? Throw money at it. It ain't going to fix everything. Well, look, there's a bunch of car companies that aren't around anymore. You know why? Because they didn't sell cars. Sorry. How about make less cars? Yeah. How about that? Or better cars. Yeah, make cars that we need. Yeah. You know? Yeah.
I don't think we need the huge gas guzzlers. Oh, here we go. Why is Toyota and Honda so popular? Why are they doing great? Because they make the cars that we want, that we need. Dude, I'm telling you, those Japanese cars, they work, man. Run them into the ground. We just got our first American car last year. It's a jalopy. It's a jalopy. It's expensive, too. Oil leaking all over the garage. Are you kidding me? Yeah, oil leaking on the garage. And they explain it away very nicely. They're like, oh, it was a gasket. I'm like, it's brand new, bro. You know, I don't say that because I don't like confrontation. So I just was like, oh, thank you. Thank you. Oh, you could hire me to do that for you. Really? Oh, yeah. You like the confrontation. I don't like it, but if they're wrong, they're wrong. Well, by the way, this was after a recall came in the mail because the engines were catching on fire. So I said, hey, babe, while you're down there, you know, fixing up the fire in the engine. Yeah. Ask him why it's leaking oil all over the garage.
That's crazy. And this was right after we bought it, the little things that when you open the door, these little things come out as an SUV. So these little things come out for you to put your foot on and step in. They weren't coming out. And so I'm sitting in there, you know, showing mom and dad the car. This is we bought it. It was two days old. I'm trying to show mom and dad these cool things, the running boards that come out. They're not coming out. I'm like, oh, man, I don't know how to work this. I'm pressing buttons. Nothing's working. I take it in. The guy goes, oh, yeah, it's a problem with the electronics. We'll fix it for you. We'll fix it for you for free. Oh, well, yeah, because it's under warranty. Right. You jerks. So that was that. You know what I mean? It was a bummer. But those Japanese cars, man, you can run them into the ground. My dad told me one time, change the oil every 3,000 miles. You'll have it forever. It's true. Yeah. As long as you change that oil. And you know what's crazy? My husband was telling me last night that Ford sells a car over in Europe that it's, I mean, it's a diesel and it's a small compact car, but it gets like 67 miles to the gallon. Oh, that's awesome. Hey, Ford, why aren't you selling that here? Why are you selling that in Europe? Figure it out. See, I like muscle cars and I just wish that they would figure out a way to get them to have good mileage, you know, because I'm down with that.
I'm down with the good mileage stuff and all that. Well, that's what's selling right now. I mean, yeah, there's still a market for the luxury cars or whatever. But right now, the majority of people, they want fuel-efficient, cheap cars that run for a long time. I get those car magazines and stuff. They're being taken over by those. That's all you see in them now. Because they are, man. They're like the most popular thing going. I wish they weren't so ugly. It's like a dude driving an egg down the road with a couple of... tires on it. They're just so hard to look at. Can't they make them better looking, you know? It's cool looking. Dude, the Prius looks like you're supposed to run it over somebody's shirt and take the wrinkles out of it. Well, it's got to be aerodynamic. That's part of it. For real, I had no idea. Because that helps, right? I had no idea that's why they were ugly. But is that really the most... Aerodynamic form? Like if you have like a square boxy car and it's hitting up against the air, obviously something that's more pointy and slanted. You're not going to achieve. You can, I mean, there's got to be a way around it. Like put a hole in the middle of the car? No, but making it look like that? A way around aerodynamics? Hey, by the way, I don't mean to offend Prius owners by saying your car is ugly. That's just the truth. Now, I don't. Hang on. Wait a second. Come on now.
I don't care for the style. P1 Third Day fan, what's up? Hey, what's up, Mikey? Or should I say, man in the hallway. Man in the hallway. Did you just see me in the hallway? No, no. On the Dave Shelly and Chainsaw DVD, you're credited as the man in the hallway. Yeah, Dave Shelly and Chainsaw, they make movies. They actually make movies. They're friends of ours. They do the mornings at KGB, and you know that. Because you've lived in San Diego longer than five minutes. Exactly, exactly. And, yeah, Dave asked me if I would do a cameo in his movie that they just did. And it was really fun. And I said, I want to be a movie star. That's what I want to do now. After appearing in the DSC movie? That's right. That's right. I appeared in the DSC movie and I said, hey, I like this line of work. Where's craft services? Sign me up. Sign me up for it. It's like being an extra on Renegade. That is correct. Or a co-star. That's right. I don't know anything about that. That's right. I don't know anyone who's ever done that. I know you wouldn't know anything about it, but I can tell you all about it. We had pasta and a nice green salad at craft services with garlic bread. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Once upon a time, you got married and simply don't work out. If you're a man facing divorce, be careful. There could be rough times ahead and some men don't always think clearly. They often tend to compromise or rush to settle things without the advice of their own attorney. Selecting the right attorney for divorce or custody issues is one of the most important decisions a man can make. This is Bill Goldberg of the law firm Goldberg & Jones. The impact of a divorce can last a lifetime. I tell clients to check out all their options. Once they understand the law, we help them make intelligent decisions. Call 1-800-DIVORCE.
Get your phone questions answered at no charge. If you have a custody or divorce situation, let them help you. Call 1-800-DIVORCE. Let me tell you something. I've told you about AIS for years now. 1-800-777-4247 is their phone number. But one thing that we have never talked about when I told you about AIS is when you go down to Mexico, If you get your car ripped off, you're kind of... Up the creek without a paddle. That's right, Eddie. Yeah, they always like it. Do you have to buy special insurance at the border? I never know what to do. AIS has Mexican insurance. We got a guy in our sales department, went there with a friend. All they had was a cooler, full of air, going to go surf. Rented a place, walked outside the next morning, car's gone. Oh.
He did not get the Mexican insurance. They had to hitchhike back and were very lucky to have some nice Mexican guys pick them up in a truck, let them get in the back of the truck. They took them to the border and gave them their beer. But maybe you don't want that to happen to you when you're going to Mexico. If you don't want that, then call AIS, 1-800-777-4247. Another easy way to remember it, 1-800-777-4AIS. Or try their website, aisinsurance.com. The Mikey Show continues. Featuring Mikey. I am a fat nerd, and it's really okay for you to say hello. Eddie. Hey, I'm a realist. Sky. I'm a weirded owl. That's right. I don't care. Unless I'm provoked. Mikey Show's on. FinKids. Rock 105.3. It's special to get you going this morning, huh? Really charged you up with some 38 special there. All right. It's 6... And Jennifer Hudson's ex-brother-in-law was arrested and charged yesterday with the October murders of her mom, brother, and nephew. Plaxico Burris was taken to central booking in handcuffs yesterday and posted a $100,000 bail. If convicted, he could face a minimum of three and a half years in prison. Oh, wow. Will he be convicted? Here's the deal. Here's a little back story about...
this whole controversy scandal is that I guess apparently a few years ago, remember when Diddy got busted for carrying a concealed weapon? Yeah. He got acquitted. And that really upset Mayor Bloomberg. He got outraged by that. And so he upped the law and said that, you know, if you are convicted now, you have to face a minimum of three and a half years in prison, at least. And so... He's even commented that he's going to go for Plaxco to the fullest extent of law. And they're really going after him. Really? Yeah. It's a pretty big deal. Way to go, Diddy. Oh, wow. Doing it for everybody. Yeah, now nobody can conceal their pistols. Can't bring a butter gun to the club. We're all in trouble. A butter gun. Can I borrow your butter gun? A thigh right through the meat. So speaking of New York, apparently A-Rod and Madonna are all over the place. Oh, yeah. Right? Yeah. Well, because remember, you know, it was rumored when A-Rod's wife filed for divorce that it was all because of Madonna. And then, you know, like a month later, Madonna and her guy get a divorce. But, you know, oh, no, they're just friends. They just happen to know each other, blah, blah, blah. Right.
Well, A-Rod was photographed getting off of Madonna's private jet. He then attended her concert in Miami when he was in, like, the front row. And she, like, sang a love song, like, staring directly at him. Weird. Was it crazy for you? Was it crazy for you? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It was just described as one of her love songs. And she was, like, staring directly at him. I think it was crazy for you. Was it? I think it was. Can we just research and find? Seriously. I want to know if it was. Man. Sorry, I wasn't there. And then they both happen to have events going on like in Mexico City at the same time. That happens. Yeah. It's a coincidence. So they're definitely, you know, kind of going a little public with their love. So awesome. This is going to make for great T-shirts for next year. T-shirts? What are they going to say? I got to figure that out. Yeah. Well, Rob's a Red Sox fan, so they make a bunch of shirts that make jokes about Yankees. It'll show A-Rod voguing. There it is. There it is. Patent pending. In a cone bra. Yeah. Patent pending. Patent pending. Patent pending. By the way. Stop saying these out loud. When someone says patent pending, Rob gets a look of relief. Desperately seeking A-Rod. Patent pending.
Don't say them out loud. What is A-Rod? Is he Dominican? What is he? Yeah, I think so. Is he? I think he's Dominican. Yes, you guys. Yes! Sammy Sosa calling him. It's Sammy Sosa. It's Sammy Sosa. Hey, hi, Sammy Sosa. How are you? Yes. Yes, that's Seth. It's like Charlie Brown, yes. His name is not Charlie Brown. No, it's not actually Charlie Brown. It's Seth. You know, Mikey, I was hanging out with A-Rod and Madonna just last night. You were? Wow. This is perfect timing. We got it all wrong, man. Really? A-Rod is not even a dude, man. A-Rod is not a dude? He is a cheapo. No, you can't say that, Sam. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. I believe him. That's not true.
High latches. Yeah. High heels. Yeah. Wait, wait. What? High heels. What? He said high heels. He has a thick accent. Oh, it's the accent. He couldn't understand one. Then, Madonna pulled off her wig and she was no other than a cross-dressing Oscar de la Hoya. That's not true. Again, talking about... I believe him. I don't believe him. I don't believe him. You're getting in trouble saying stuff like that. I've been seen with lots of celebrities, too. You have? I've been seen with Maria Conchita Lanzo. I've been seen with Ray Donchon. I've been seen with Pequeño Morales de Florida. Who is that? I don't know who that is. These are people from novella? I went to a concert the other day. With Chicana, tequila, margarita. Really? Who's that? That's what I had to drink this morning. You know what the funniest word about A-Rod and Madonna is? What is it? The gap in her teeth, man. The gap in her teeth is the funniest thing about it. That's not very nice. That's not very nice at all. Very nice, Sammy Sosa. That really got him. That's weird. That is odd. Sammy?
Yeah, Mikey. Hey, you know what, by the way? Did I tell you who I'm dating now? No. Jennifer Aniston? You're dating Jamie Sosa and Jennifer Aniston? That's not fair. She's a classy lady. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. Celebrity voice in first name. Are you there, Sammy? Man, I gotta go, man. I got another one in the hallway. Thank you. That's Sammy Sosa. That's Sammy Sosa. That's inappropriate. Where were you, Sean? Did you go to the bathroom or something? Yeah, I had a little problem. Okay. It was a side of rice. Okay. Our phone number here is 570-1053 if you would like to give us a call for any reason at all. Skye had a late lunch yesterday, so she had cookies for dinner. Oh, me too. Really? Yeah.
Well, you do that every night. That's true. Yeah, I had two chocolate chip cookies. Oh, I had more than that. Does your husband know you did that? Well, he asked me, what would you like for dinner? And I said, cookies. And so he took some of those, you know, ones that the dough's already made. You just pop it in the oven. And we both had cookies for dinner. That's not good, though. But he had like six of them. I only had two. How can you only have two? That's so weird. I had a right lot. That is awesome. Amazing control. I love being adults. Yeah, cookies for dinner. Because you get to decide to do childlike things and no one can say no. Yeah, I tell Sarissa that all the time. I'm like, I'm going to wake up and eat ice cream and who's going to tell me no? That's awesome. Sky had trouble sleeping last night. I wonder why. That was shock. Jeez. Sky, that was why. Belly full of cookies. I had two cookies. Two cookies. Uh-huh. Sky had trouble sleeping because our program director, Shauna. told her that there's a chance that she might get to interview Maynard Wednesday night at his wine signing in Hellcrest. What? Super duper. Now, we know in radio, things don't always go as planned, you know, so sometimes they go, oh, show up early and you'll be first in line and you end up waiting four hours. But this time I believe her. Skye? This time I believe her. I...
want to know what the questions are like i want to know your interview style can we play it back oh yes dude can we video no he won't let that i know he wouldn't let that this is the thing see this was going on in my mind last night you know that i don't know what his deal is because maynard's a very private person so i don't know if he's like only gonna allow me to ask him questions about wine well check this out for those of you that don't know most of you probably do but for those of you that don't know maynard is the lead singer of a rock band called Tool. Some people don't know, but for those of you that do, he's the lead singer of a band called Tool, and Sky really likes their music, and she really likes Maynard, but Maynard's an odd cat. He... Yes. Very private person. To say the least. To me, it's shocking that he's doing the appearance. Thank you. But he does not allow photographs to be taken of him, and he doesn't like, you know... What else does he not? He doesn't do interviews. Doesn't do interviews. I mean, the only interviews I've read from him recently have been about, like, his winery, and you'll read them in, like, wine magazines, you know? So as far as discussing his... See, I get all those, so that's where I see it. As far as doing, like, radio... Wine tool. Yes, I get wine tool. As far as doing, like, radio and television interviews, it doesn't really... Hello, Maynard. What's happening?
I know you'll like them. I love them. Wow. That was 10 years ago. I've been in radio for two seconds. Sean, do you have the clip? Two seconds I've been in radio. Do you have the clip of Skye, her first year in radio, doing her first on-air shift? My name's Skye. What's happening? Oh, hey. So conversational. It is a great opening. I know you like him. I have been on radio for two seconds. That's fantastic. I love your wine. I know you love him. I know you like him. I love him. Skye, what would you ask Maynard? Well, a lot of it depends on whether, you know, I can only ask wine questions or if I can ask questions outside of wine. I know that this will be a very professional interview. And he has a partner in his winemaking, Eric, that nobody knows, like nobody cares. And so I have already.
made a mental note, I want to acknowledge this guy because I feel bad that this guy never gets acknowledged. Well, because, you know, he's with Maynard. Everybody wants to see Maynard. You know, this poor guy has to sit there. Did you stomp the grapes or what? That was one of my questions. Yes, first of all, what is your name, young man? Come here, you. Stopping the grapes. Oh, no. He fell out of the barrel. He fell out of the barrel. Are you okay? Maynard! That's going to be a classic. First of all, I would like to thank you, Mr. Maynard, for meeting with me. Our phone number is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. When we come back, we are going to play the clips of Boston Rob out yesterday in public. We sent him to Fashion Valley Mall. The mall. This is a match made in heaven for me to be talking about what they're doing with the red cups. The red cups are back, and, you know, one of the things that I always used to think when I would see those red cups at Starbucks... is, oh, it's the season. They might as well be green, whatever. The truth is, is that there's actually a meaning behind it. And Starbucks is pretty cool. What they do is they want to give back to the areas where they are actually growing that coffee. And so what they're doing is, if you buy some coffee in those red cups, you're going to be giving to a really great cause. Five cents will be contributed to the Global Fund to help save lives in Africa. They're trying to save the lives of people that are suffering from AIDS. And I just think that's a really cool cause. Yeah, actually, I took your advice. Last week, my check engine light came on. And I heard the radio ad yesterday morning on the way to work. and I went to the Mission Gorge location, and Nick hooked it up. He found out that my number three spark plug wasn't firing, so I told him, hey, you know, I can fix that myself, but I told him, you know, even though he wasn't able to do the service on my truck, that he has my service down the road for when my transmission goes out. Because he did that for free, right? Yeah, he did it for free. See, I mean, how can you not respect that? You didn't end up having, and most people, they would have charged you just to tell you that.
And then, you know what I mean? And now that guy's got a customer for life, and that's basically what Amco's philosophy is. Amco diagnoses you for free, just like this guy. It's double A-M-C-O. The Mikey Show continues, featuring Mikey. The host of the show is a freak show. Eddie. Sky. I shower at night. Gross. Sean. Well, you know what? I'm a nonconformist. Boston Rob. Nothing in my life can... Nothing in my life. And Ashley. I'd share my food with you. The Mikey Show's on. I hear you, buddy. Rock 105.3. The Mikey Show at 7.04. A group of bank robbers threw their bag of money out in the street in Rancho Bernardo after the die pass.
and the money exploded. What? Ricky Anderson leads the list of possible candidates for the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame this year. Really? Yeah. Are you down, Eddie? Oh, yeah. Ricky will be first ballot. You liked him, right? I love Ricky Anderson. Do you have a funny story about him? Yeah. I interviewed him once at spring training, and after the interview, we had this paper that we were getting drops from players to read. It basically said, Hi, I'm, and then it left the space blank from the San Diego Padres, and you're listening to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right. And so everybody was doing them, Tony Gwynn, all of them. And so I handed it to Ricky, and he read it like this. Hi, I'm from the San Diego Padres, and you're listening to it. Wow. And I didn't know what to do, so I just left it. So I forget it. Wow. I'm not going to tell him, like, dude, you're supposed to put your name in there. Oh, right. That's what the blank space is for. That's fantastic. Pretty bad. That's fantastic. Wow. That is a promo. Awesome. Okay, so before we went to break, I said that there's a new study that says that the U.S. will likely be attacked using a biological weapon. Sky, when? Within the next five years.
Really? Yeah, they say before 2013, according to this study, they say that as far as other weapons, biological weapons are the ones that would be the easiest for terrorists to obtain. So they believe that that's why those would be used. They say that anthrax remains the most likely biological weapon, but also... Contagious diseases are something they're concerned about as well. You know how they always say, you know, don't just tell somebody the problem. Tell them what you want them to do about it. You know what I mean? Like, OK, so we're going to have an attack in the next five years, this study says. So what do we do about it? They're saying that, you know, to make these things harder to obtain and to make the things, you know, the things that are used to make these things harder to obtain, you know, just how like right now we guard certain things like, you know, the stuff. for making nuclear weapons, we guard that stuff. So we need to start thinking of biological weapons and things used to make them in the same way. What do we do? How about just the normal person? Can we do something to safeguard ourselves? Get Jack Bauer on the case. Dude, for real, right? Yeah, get a gas mask. Start doing push-ups. Yeah. Wait, push-ups? Push-ups. That might work. But seriously, I mean, if I could get Jack Bauer on it, I would. Yeah, he'll stop the attack. Mm-hmm.
With like a second left to go on the timer. Well, obviously. Got to get close, but. How was that two-hour movie? Oh, I loved it. Eddie. I haven't gotten to it yet. Really? I want to, but I just haven't had time. Goodness. I'll watch it. It was really good. It set up a great season to come with a female president. What up? Science fiction. It sounds like science fiction. Oh, stop. Whatever. There's some text messages we're getting at 35253. Mikey, so nice to hear Sammy Sosa stop by. I laughed so hard I spit coffee all over my steering wheel. Rackham. That's P1DP. Mikey, Sky, please ask Sky if she can buy gift cards with gold bullion. That's P1DP. Interesting. Oh, you're hilarious. I have no idea. I mean, I would think, yeah. Maybe they would accept that. Gold bullion. No one accepts that. Do you accept Cougarads? Mikey, Volkswagen has a turbo diesel that gets 50 plus miles per gallon on the highway and is sold in America. That's P1 Sharpie. Mikey, the Prius is more aerodynamic than a Ferrari Enzo. Wow. That's P1 Slurpee. That makes sense to me. Yeah.
It does not win in a beauty contest. Between the two. It doesn't go 200 like the Ferrari does. That is true as well. But it doesn't cost a million dollars like the Enzo does. It does not go 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds. It does not. Mikey, if Prius is built for aerodynamic reasons, why are the Accords and Camry hybrids built the same as the regular Accord in Camry? That's P1 Suze. No? It might look like over here... Protractor? Am I some kind of calculator over here? Mikey, Eddie's right about the pasta and stuff. I did a commercial for Chevy and they had luxury roach coaches there for the talent. It was different. That's a little different. Ours was a full setup. You help yourself. When you're doing a show versus a commercial. Big different kind of budget. Roach coaches have kind of grown down by that. I need to have a sit-down meal. I've worked all day. A full day. Undecent society. Yeah. Hey, Rob, we're going to get this video up, right? Oh, yeah. This video will be up on MikeyShow.com, forthwith. And the idea is we send Boston Rob out as our man on the street, and he talks to people about the various topics of the day.
And yesterday was Cyber Monday. Last Friday was Black Friday. And so we figured we would send Boston Rob down to the mall. The mall. Which mall did you go to? Dude, the fanciest mall in all of San Diego, San Diego County, north of San Diego, Mexico, Fashion Valley. Wait, and you're still not trying to park? Dude. Yeah, I know. How was the parking? I have a certain place where I go to park now that... What is it? I will not tell you. And it, three times in a row that I've been there. Really? It has worked perfectly. No ticket. I'm not giving it up. Well, the key is, is you see someone that's already parked illegally. And you take their ticket off their car. And you go park illegally. No one do that. Don't do that. That must be illegal. You're a clown. You can park on the sidewalk. It doesn't matter. You just stick that ticket right there. Eddie. Oh, wait. Eddie. Oh, wait. You're ridiculous. Talk to your boy. No one do that. I'm just playing. Come on, come on, come on. Obviously, I would only do that a couple of times. Right. Once or twice. So the first person you talked to was Andrea.
Yeah. And you're talking to her about this Cyber Monday. She was pretty witty, dude, because, you know, I'm going through the crowds and I go and linger at the food court because I like to smell all the food. It's like going to different worlds. Yeah. Are you going to finish that? May I have a bite of your churro? If you're going to toss that. And, you know, talking to a lot of people, I don't think Cyber Monday is really out to the masses, or at least they're not at the mall. The mall. The mall. We don't need to do that every time. This chick was, she had some knowledge. Let's check it out. All right, I'm down here at your local mall. Even you thought it, right? You were waiting for her to say the mall. The mall. Everyone. I'm like, come on. Come with me. Valley, as they call it. And I'm here with Andrea. Andrea, are you doing shopping for the holidays because Black Friday happened the other day and there might be some great sales going on? Yeah, I actually had to work that weekend, so I figured I'd do a little ketchup shopping, come down here, see what there was. Has there been any great sales, any 40% off, any 50% off, any buy one, get ones? Those are my favorite. Not in the shops that I'm really too interested in.
Are you going to be doing any shopping for Cyber Monday, which is today? I am a little ahead of you. I actually started doing that last night because a lot of the stores were starting at midnight Eastern time. So I logged on. For real? Ooh la la. Fancy lady. I did not know this. Or did we say this and I just didn't catch it? I didn't know that. You taught me that. So you have to change the time on your computer? No, no, Eddie. No, I think Eddie would. It's just only when things start at midnight. It's post time. So I got to stay up? No. No, 9 o'clock. I'll draw you a map. That's right. Set your watch. That's right. Midnight. Midnight. Don't overthink it. And take the battery out. Underthink it. Underthink it. On at 9 o'clock last night and started getting a lot of sales. I may pop on here in a little bit when I get home and see if there's anything I missed. Perfect, perfect. Now, there's one thing I got to advise you. You must be careful because I was online. I was reading a blog that I wrote. Wait. I heard there was a late night out together at the bar, something like that. So just be careful while you're shopping. Okay, will do. You're a clown. What are you talking about? You're reading your own blog. Yes, he was reading his blog he read. You have never done that? Happened to be his. He's got a lot of good knowledge. Good information. Yeah. Next, you talk to Dominic. Oh, yeah. Mm-hmm.
And she had been doing some spending. I mean, this was, I don't want to say typical, because I ain't that kind of guy. But she had a lot of bags in her hands. Oh, you were judging her. I can see it in your face. You were judging her. Wishing that you were her. Yes. Yeah. Can you get me something, please? So I'm here with Dominique, who has been doing some holiday shopping. Are you here for Cyber Monday? I actually don't know what that is. You don't know what Cyber Monday is? It is great sales online. Yeah, I mean, great sales online. Everybody doesn't know this. I thought everybody knew this. Online, which I'm not sure. Do you know if you can use the Apple Store to order stuff from Marshalls? On their computers. I don't think they can do that, though. I don't think they'd be mad. I'm going to send it to my house. Can you imagine Rob doing his shopping on the computer in the Apple Store? That's awesome. To pick up anything and do any of the ordering. And honestly, that place is so busy that you could probably get away with it and they wouldn't notice. Yeah, so I'm going to try that in a little bit. So did you get to do any holiday shopping? I did, yeah, today. I spent about $350 just today. $350. Can I tell you a quick, cheap, very, it's extremely affordable way to get your stocking stuffer shopping done? Whatever we're about to hear is real. Whatever we're about to hear is real.
No doubt in my mind, whatever he's about to suggest, as ludicrous as it sounds, I'm sure he does. Oh, no question. Yes, please. Okay, so what I did is I got mint toothpicks from Donovan's. Very fancy upscale restaurant. They're all hand-carved, hand-crafted themselves. Yeah, and I'm sure what he did is walk in Donovan's, grab the toothpicks, and walk out. Oh, no question. Hold on, hold on. He just can't afford dinner there. And a couple of mints. Best mints in San Diego. Walked in, but he ran out. That's right. Chased out, actually. And I got some ranch dressing from Jack in the Box. It's free. No cost whatsoever, but it is the best in the world. World-renowned. Look it up online. You can YouTube it. And then finally, there's candy that I had from Halloween. And that will go all in the stocking, and it's... And you're done. You're done shopping, basically. So... What? I think I might use that. Thank you. Yeah, well, we've received gifts from Rob, so we know that's real. Because we've received... You didn't say that. You don't ever need a toothpick. I got your back. I got french fries, but I got no ranch.
I got your back. Okay. You got a sweet tooth? Never do that again. I got your back. Okay. I actually don't know what that is. This next one is... So this is this next girl. Who is this? Melissa? Yeah, yeah. We caught her and yeah, I don't think she was getting what I was laying down. So I'm out here at the mall and I'm with... Melissa. Nice to meet you, Melissa. Have you done any, did you do any shopping on Black Friday for the super deals? No. What about Cyber Monday? Are you at the mall today for Cyber Monday? Get some good internet deals, maybe hit the Apple store for a little. You're just working today. So have you done any holiday shopping at all? A little bit online. Just a little bit online? You making some purchases? You got a big family or? No, just four of us. Just four of you.
You want some suggestions that maybe some of your family members might like? Yeah, that'd be great. Okay, so my first one is maybe the Ben Roethlisberger Power Wheels motorcycle. It comes without the helmet. Okay. A two-year-old joke's still funny. Wait a minute. You don't even die. It's too soon. Brutal. My mom would be into that. Your mom would be into that. I don't know. She might be a big motorcycle fan. That's cool. How about the Heath Ledger pill case? That case is huge, bro. It's like a suitcase. That's just out. Too soon. My last suggestion. This one's fun for the whole family. The Alex P. Keaton Jenga set. You're ridiculous. You're a bad person. There's nothing wrong with that. You're a bad person. I actually don't know what that is. Okay, thank you. Oh, okay. Oh, I win again. Oh, wow. Our phone number is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. We were talking about this song earlier. Again, don't know how long this is going to last, but they're still doing it, which is good news for everybody that is in line right now to get themselves a BMW from BMW Encinitas. In San Diego County, in my opinion. In fact, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. And here's one of the things about them that's very special. Britney Spears has announced that the Pussycat Dolls will be the opening act for her 2009 tour, which, sorry ladies, will not be coming to San Diego. The Patriots and Buccaneers are going to be saying good day, mate, as they are the two teams that will play in London next year for the NFL season. So how about that, Ash? Next year they'll be saying good day, mate. She's still upset about the Britney Spears thing. Oh, get over it. Pussycat! Well, you can go up to L.A. She's really upset. Scott, I think you kind of excluded gay guys there. I don't think that was fair. You know, I mean, you said to you ladies, but that's not very nice. I mean, there's a lot. What about us? Yes. We're the dancers. Hello. Oh, lame. I'm going to make a trip. Hey, before we went to break, I said that there was a frat house at SDSU that is being investigated for possible sexual assault. What frat house? Kappa Alpha fraternity house.
Kappa, I thought there was always three names. Ah, like Lambda, Lambda, Lambda. Yeah. I don't know. Lambda, Kappa, Kappa. Kappa, Alpha, Alpha. Yeah. So police said yesterday that a woman claims that three men forced her into a bedroom at the frat house and sexually assaulted her on November 15th. And so they're investigating, but it sounds like the details, you know, they don't have very many details to go on. Yeah. All right. Well. We'll keep watching it. We'll tell you what's going on. Ladies and gentlemen, in the studio with us right now, we have Mr. George Chamberlain. Oh, wonderful. Hey, guys. Missed you last week. I hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving. It was. How about you? Real good. Was it good? Yeah. Who cooks? Mom. My wife cooks for the whole family. Yeah. And usually, we were out in the desert and big family, so lots going on out there. I'm going to name the stuff. You tell me, check if it was there. Turkey? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Stuffing? Yeah. Mashed potatoes? Yep. Yams? Sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes. Green bean casserole. Green bean casserole. Of course. Nice. Love that. What am I missing? Cranberry. Cranberry sauce. Yeah. Are you a can or a fresh cranberry? I abstain completely. Wow. Really? It's way down my list of priorities for the Thanksgiving meal. Interesting. What was it offered? Canned or homemade?
I don't know. I prefer canned. Me too. I like the one that when it comes out of the can, it still has the form of the can. That's the good stuff. It's the best kind. Well, George Chamberlain. Pumpkin pie. That's right. And chocolate cream pie is always a tradition. Did I forget anything else? I think you got it all. That green bean casserole, if it's not there, I'm real upset with the good. The crumpled onion thing. Yeah, you have to have that. You have to. It's a must. Sky had pumpkin lasagna. Yum. It was new. Yeah. It was very fancy. It's creepy. Did you bring any? No. I have a son that's a vegan. It's always tomorrow. Really? Yeah. And so planning a big meal is a challenge. Yeah. And if you go to like Whole Foods, they will prepare. You can go in and purchase a complete vegan meal. Wow. For real? Yeah. What about partial? Well, you can make it to whatever you want, but they have this packaged product. Tofurky. It's tofu. Oh, of course it is. Oh, yeah. But you know what? I took just a small bite last year. I didn't do it this year. And it's not bad. It's not bad. I would respectfully disagree and say that has to be bad. Well, I know, but everything's relative. Everything's relative. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, George Chamberlain is, you can see him on NBC 739 every single weekday morning. And he does the money stuff for them. He breaks it down into normal language. We have breaking news. I'm looking at my wire right here, Mike. What do you got, Eddie? It says, we are in a recession. Oh, wow. Look at that. Breaking news. Breaking news. Everybody knows. Dang. When did that happen? Look at that. 570-1053, if you have a question. For George Chamberlain about money. Anything that has to do with money, he can answer it for you. Whether it's about investing or whether it's about what you should do with your money. Money, money, money. Your house. You're afraid or your house or whatever that stuff is. So, yeah, George, talk to us. So they announce officially there's a recession. Yeah, I'm amazed the number of people going. Really? Are we really in a recession? Oh, my God. That's news to me. Yeah, that's what happened yesterday was that then the stock market drops 800 points yesterday when these guys come out. And, of course, it kind of broke the classic rule of a recession. But, geez, if you didn't know that we were in a recession, if you didn't know things were slowing down, you obviously weren't paying attention. And is that why they hadn't officially said that we were in a recession because they knew that it would freak the markets out?
Why are we just getting this official news now? Why are they doing that? You never know when you're in a recession until afterwards. You never know going into it because there has to be this statistical slowdown, which they say we now have proof that it began back a year ago, a year ago December, a year ago this month. I thought a recession was too... I know. And they said, no, for this group, this research group said, no, we don't use that. We have our own way of measuring a slowdown across the country. And we're there. And so get ready. To me, this is great news. This is great news. Because it means we're probably more than halfway through the recession. Okay, I like that. See, we'll probably be out of this thing. The normal recession lasts about 18 to 20 months. So that means we're 12 months through this, baby. I've been telling anybody to listen. I'm like, get those stocks now. They're cheap. My brother, I've been telling him. And he just is like. Yeah, whatever. And you know what? He's going to be totally bummed out when this thing turns around. It turns fast. And I thought we had seen it. We had been up five sessions in a row. Hey, I'll tell you what is the best news about what's going on right now. And if you are even thinking about buying a home, if you've got some money saved up for a down payment, home prices are incredibly cheap.
And mortgage interest rates are falling through the floor. We dropped this morning to 5.5% on a 30-year fixed rate loan. By the end of this month, we will be below 5% on 30-year paper for a house. Really? Yeah. By the end of this month. Yep. Well, and don't you, if you want to get a loan, you know, that's what would typically be a jumbo loan, which would be like over 417, right? You have until the end of the year. Wait, wait, wait. A jumbo loan is anything over 400K? $4.17 is what it typically is. $4.17? I mean, think of San Diego. Well, it makes no sense. Well, but right now you can buy some pretty darn good stuff for that amount. Yeah. Especially for first-timers. But they have changed it, and now until the end of the year, what is it, like up to seven? Yeah, you're almost $700,000. Yeah, up to $700,000. That still doesn't help me, George. George, triple that, baby. That'll just cover the moat, damn it. Okay.
We'll be in the conforming limit, so you can get a great rate on a loan all the way up to $700,000. We are refurbishing the moat for the moat. I'm trying to help people. The moat's around the moat now. Stop mocking me. I don't like to conform to any limits. 570-1053. What's a limit? Ah, sky. Wow. Jonathan. Ladies and gentlemen. You can call in and ask your questions of George Chamberlain, our money guy, 570-1053 or text us at 35253. P1 Alien Tooth is on the line. Hi. Hey, what's going on, Mikey? How are you? Not too much, dude. You got a question for George? Yeah, I'm going to be coming in to about $25,000 next month, and there's some things I need to get. I'm going to spend about $10,000. But the other $15,000, I'm wondering what suggestions I should do with that money. Got credit card bills? No, actually, I only have a couple of credit cards totaling maybe $1,000. No, way to go, man. That's good for you. Good for you. All right, listen, take five of it and get it in the market right away. Go online to Vanguard.com, buy the S&P 500 index, and just hunker down and see what happens for a month or two. Now, wait a minute. Let's walk through this kind of slowly because for people that are just, they don't understand what any of that meant.
Go to Vanguard.com, and they have something called the S&P 500. And these are good companies? Is that what that is? Vanguard is a very large mutual fund company. And they're a no-load, low-fee company. What does that mean, no-load? No commissions. No commissions. No commissions. A load is a commission. And then their annual fees and expenses are less than a quarter of a percent. You want to keep costs as low as you can. The S&P 500 index is... is a compilation of the 500 largest companies in the United States. Okay. So in one fell swoop, you're going to buy the 500 biggest companies in this country. Uh-huh. Is 5,000 enough to get started? Oh, yeah. No, you can start with five, yeah. I think the minimum to get started, if my memory serves me right, is 3,000 with Vanguard. So you'd have no problem doing that. You can go to fidelity.com, do the same thing, too. They have exactly the same thing. And then just let that baby go, and then start trying to feed some money into it on a regular basis. Once a month, Put another $100 or $200 or whatever you can afford to do into it. You don't have to take all of the money at one time and get it invested because we don't know where we're going. We don't know if we're near the bottom or if we're on the way up or what. So put some money in there now and then just kind of add to the kitty every once in a while. Sounds good, man. Thank you. Good luck to you, man. Thanks. Thanks a lot. This is a good question from P1 Dice. Dice, are you there? Yes, I am. You're 23 years old and you have a question for our money guy, George Chamberlain.
Yes, I do. George, would you recommend, I was recently recommended to start a term life insurance that has like a 5% guaranteed cash, I guess, that's available to me whenever I want and it's not tied to the market. And so I was wondering if you could maybe just like embellish on exactly how that all works out and if you would recommend it since it's not tied to the market. And if, you know, I don't know if you could just... Explain a little more on how all that works. Do you need life insurance? No, I mean, maybe, yeah. Doesn't everybody? No, no. Like, do you have kids? No, do you have kids? Do you have a mortgage? No, no. Well, then you don't need life insurance. Unless you just decide you want to leave money to somebody for some reason. Now, the reason, I'm going to take a guess here, stab in the dark. George, do you suspect that the reason that somebody has tried to sell her life insurance is because they're trying to make a commission? Well, I hate to be so devious and suggest that's the case. But to be honest with you, I don't think that somebody's trying to sell her term life insurance because you don't make much commission selling term life insurance. I think they're trying to sell you something else because you've said a couple of things that set off bells and whistles for me that make me a little nervous about what they're trying to sell you. And it's some kind of tax-deferred investment.
grossest, ugliest, most vicious product out there, and it's called an equity indexed annuity. And I think that's what they're trying to say. It does have a life insurance component to it, but it's a very, very expensive. Remember how I talked about the Vanguard funds having hardly any fees at all? You want to invest in something that's got fees up the wazoo, then you go with an annuity like this. I'm pretty sure that is being sold to her. You want to go with something that has features? I was being facetious. Oh, man, for somebody like me that doesn't get it, please don't be facetious. Oh, that scared the pants off me. Well, there you go, P1 Dice. Now you know what to do. Yeah, make sure, you know, get stuff in writing on this before they put a piece of paper in front of you to sign. Read what all the expenses are. Ask what all the expenses are. And here's it, folks, everybody out there listening to this program. If somebody ever wants to sell you an investment product and you ask that question, you think, well, I heard Chamberlain say I'm supposed to do this, so I'm going to do it. What are the commissions on this investment? If they ever answer the question by saying there are no commissions, there are no fees, they have just proven to you that they are a liar. And move on. Just move on, move away. Because if they don't have the nerve to tell you exactly how much they're going to get paid in commissions on this stuff, then they're not doing you a fine.
They're going to lie to you about other stuff, too. Dice, does any of that... What's going on in your head right now after you said that? That definitely makes sense, and it did sound a little fishy to me. Excuse me. The only reason why I actually started considering it was because besides the fact that it's a life insurance and, yeah, I don't necessarily need it right now, the part that they got me on was that... So whatever I pay on the premium, there's like a certain 5% guaranteed cash fund so that, you know, let's say in 10, 15, 20 years, if I run into some sort of huge emergency, that I'd be able, of course, there'd be a penalty, but that I'd be able to take out that cash value and I would get 5% guaranteed. And it's not tied to the market. See, they're saying this thing about it not being tied to the market almost assures me that she's talking about an equity index. How about this? You take the money. You go to savingsbonds.gov, a website, savingsbonds.gov. You buy iBonds, which are yielding today and for the next six months, 5.46%. Okay? And it's probably going to stay in that range for a long time because it's an inflation-protected investment.
You have zero risk. You have no taxes because it's a tax-deferred investment. If you ultimately use the money for educational purposes when you have kids down the road, then that money will be available tax-free. And if you ever need the money, you know, after a year or two, and you want to take it out, there's no fees, there's no cost, there's no penalties. You're going to be earning a great rate of return, and you're not going to have some guy trying to cram a stupid investment product down your throat. There you go. P1 Dice, thanks for the call. Good luck. That stuff is very interesting to me because early when I was starting to get into being a DJ and stuff, I started asking these questions because my brother told me to. My oldest brother. Okay. He's the real smart one. He kept saying to me, get a money guy, get a money guy and learn how to invest your money. And he said that to me because he knew I was dumb. No. But George is going, don't get a money guy. Figure it out yourself and all that stuff. Right, George? Absolutely. Absolutely. It's so incredibly simple. Yeah. And this is not meant to be insulting to anybody. I have referred this book to bazillions of people investing for dummies. The dummies books are incredible. Really? They're really well written. They're funny.
And they're full of good information. They break it down to normal. Really? And it's all written in English that you understand. But get mutual funds for dummies, investing for dummies, personal finance for dummies. All these books are great books. There is not a better holiday gift you could give anybody that's just getting started than one of those books. Let's get one last call in here for our money guy, George Chamberlain. P1 State Farm agent's on the line. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Bring it on. Bring it on. P1 State Farm agent, what do you got? Are you there? Hello? What's going on? That sounds like a... I don't hear anything. Yeah, that's weird. Hello? That's not what that usually sounds like on a line, so I think something may be wrong with that. Let's see. My wife has a question she wants me to ask. If mortgage lenders are allowed... She wants to know if mortgage lenders are allowing refinances right now to get lower rates. Yeah, here's the rub on that. Sure, of course they are. That's what they do. Here's the rub. You go to refinance your home. Let's say you've had a loan on this house for two or three years. You go to refinance. Guess what they're going to do? They're going to do an appraisal on the property. And so what a lot of people are going to find is that the market value of their home may not be what...
is going to be well below what they paid for the house. And the loan is, and they may not, there may not be enough equity there to do a refinance. So. But should you try it? Oh, why not? Of course. Of course, yeah. And on that same topic, because we were thinking the same thing, but obviously our home has lost value. And when we bought the home, we put 20% down. Hey, they haven't seen the fountain, okay? Let them see the fountain and then try to tell you that housing was something, all right? Okay, okay. So, you know, we put 20% down so we wouldn't have to pay the, you know, private mortgage insurance. But now, obviously, there's not 20% left in equity. There you go. So if we were to refinance today, would we have to get like a first and a second? Would we have to pay private mortgage insurance? I doubt you'd have to do the first, but there's a possibility you might have to do the PMI, yeah. And so having to pay PMI, even at the new rate, it may be a wash anyway. What's PMI? What are they talking about? Private mortgage insurance is just, it protects the lender that they're going to get their money back.
Okay. So if you borrow more than 80% of your home's value, normally you have to pay private mortgage insurance so the lender is covered just in case you, you know, jam out and don't pay. Yeah. Ashley, did you understand? Yeah. I didn't. I did, but what I don't understand is how do you know? I fake it till I make it. How do you know? I'm going to get that book. I'm going to get Interesting for Dummies, and then I want to get Understanding Mortgage Talk for Dummies. And they have that book. Do they really? Yeah, they do. Understanding Mortgage Talk. Well, they have a Mortgage for Dummies book. I'm going to read Dummies for Dummies. What's a P1? The Mikey Show continues. Yeah, welcome back. Good to you, too. It is 7.55. Tina Fey tells Vanity Fair that she got that scar on her face when a stranger approached her and cut her when she was five years old. Oh, that's terrible. Speaking of terrible, the Browns season is terrible. They lost Derek Anderson officially. He's out for the season. And Kellen Winslow is going to miss another week. What's up with Kellen Winslow? Sprained ankle. That's who I traded to Zethi and Oates. Good move for you. He's on a bye next week, so that's cool. Is he really? Well, I am. You are? Yeah. And then what? Playoffs and fantasy football? Playoffs? Yeah, both of us have a bye. When? This coming up weekend? I believe so, yeah. And then the next weekend, do we play each other?
No. I think if we play each other, it'll be in the last game. You guys are the top two seeds. Yeah. Okay. You won't play for a while. I don't want to play him. Cannot play with him. You might play for the championship. I don't want to play him. Cannot play with him. He'll probably get upset. I don't want to play his team. I don't like it. Cannot play with him. I would like for both of you, Clear Channel, Fantasy Football, fellow compatriots, to go to the standings and look at my team and look at... the points against. I am almost 100 points more than everybody else in the league. Meaning, I played the top scorer almost every week. So I go to the standings? Yeah, I go to standings and look at my points against compared to everybody else's. Okay, Eddie is 4-9 in the league. The worst team in the league, by the way. Thank you. And then what do I do? I'm on a fantasy football show. Leonard will say like PA or PF. Isn't that points allowed? Points. Yeah. Points against. Points allowed. 925 points against him. There's nobody else in the 900s. No, there's not. Listen, Eddie's right. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. This is the weird. I mean, this is the truth. Every week, almost like some sort of bizarre curse.
Eddie plays the team that scores the highest in the league that week. So it doesn't matter how I do. Because, I mean, you know, I'll beat, you know, 75% of the league with my score. Right. But I lose every week because I play the team that has, like, crazy points. I would actually say more than 75%. Yeah, you're probably right. I mean, because honestly, when he said that, I was like, I'm going to see. And I was looking at it. And I'm like, dude, he beats almost everybody in the league except that one. team he plays. It's brutal. Eddie, were you ever on a Madden cover? That's it. I was on Fantasy Football Madden 09. You were? Is that something? It's a curse, yeah. It's a curse. It plays against you. That is the problem. I hate fantasy football. It's my last year. You say that every year. I believe in this thing. I made an official retirement. I have an announcement to make. And this is a very, very, very difficult thing for me to do. Obese pictures of me from 1992 and my friend Eddie. Do not go look at them. Are up on the website at MikeyShow.com.
I am going there right now. Please do that. I'm going to have a new wallpaper for my computer. Where are they? Do not go look at them. I'm begging you. Oh, my gosh. Mike, you probably shouldn't. It's just, I mean, I dwell on it. It's in the past, bro. Oh, my gosh. You're a healthier guy today. Oh, who are those? Yeah, a lot healthier. Sean. I'm just saying, a lot healthier. Very good. And Skye, you haven't changed. You still got that same sweater. I'm not into any of those things. That's not me. I like that Sean dyed his hair a little bit. Yeah, I know. It's not us. Wow. Oh, they're so good. Eddie, dude. I can't say anything. I mean, it is what it is, man. Oh, wow. Oh, man. Oh, my. Oh, yeah. Sean. He's sensitive about it. He's got this wig on. It's very funny. I love the one where you're blowing the wig hair, like, out of your eyes. Yeah. All sexy. Awesome. Oh, man. Well, things have changed, you know. Oh, I love it so much. Things have definitely changed. Oh, my God. I'm a different man. I'm actually the same. I'm the same.
Look at that cake. Don't tell people. You're making people want to see it. No, I'm not. It's picture number nine. What about picture 10? Wait, let's see. It would just be called gold chain. Well, here's the deal. To my embarrassment, I'm going to explain this look. You look great, okay? Thank you. And I'm not joking. I got from Brandon Walsh on 90210. Shut up. This is how you used to dress. You're right. And I thought it was cool. Well, it was cool. And that is where I got it from. And I'm not lying. I could tell. I want to tell you where I got my look. Wolfman Jack. Barnum and Bailey's Big Top Circus. No. Wolfman Jack. That is rude. How dare you. That is rude.
I don't care. I was clinically obese. My father had to talk with me about it. Stop it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that must have been fun. Oh, it was a blast. This is tough to pick which picture I want for my desktop. You are not going to do that. I went with 11. I went with 11. I don't know. I'm really shooting four. Four is good, too, though. Four is electric. The techs are coming in. old pictures, I'm sure. Never. This text message says, Mikey, you and Eddie look fantastic. Please play Cut the Mullet. P190's fanatic. We will not cut it. Oh, man. Hey, I feel like it's a real victory for me in character that I am able to allow these to be seen publicly.
to victory in character, to be able to allow people to see. I was morbidly obese. But not only that, I mean, in addition to me being obese, I'm wearing pajamas because that's all that I could fit in. What are those pants? They are awesome. I would like a pair. I made my mom make them. Because I wanted them to look like the Eddie Van Halen pants that he wears in the 5150 video. I'm really admitting a lot. I'm really getting it out there. I was a mess. Man, oh man. I can't believe I became alcoholic. What kind of pain was I trying to deaden? Okay, I settled on picture three. That looks great. MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W.com. Please. How dare you, Ashley? It's awesome. Please. Please go and look at these. You don't understand. Life-changing. Yeah, you don't understand. You really don't. Tell me I'm better looking, Ash. You're better looking, Mike. Tell me. You are better looking now than you are. You are handsome, Mike.
You're a handsome, bald Mexican man, and you look good. Tell me I'm handsome. Okay. You got nice brown skin, real soft, dainty hands. Okay. You are a metro man that I love and respect, my friend. Nice orange picking hands. Okay. Hurting again. No. Perfect for kumquats. You dress real good. You got a good singing voice. 570-1053. Nice goatee. You're telling me I'm not handsome. No, you are handsome, Mike. Tell me I'm handsome, but make me believe it, Lisa. You're handsome. You're better than this, bro. You don't need this, Mike. Tell me in a way that'll make me believe it. Say it like this. Go like this. No, seriously, Mike. Hey, Mike, take a look at your wife, okay? That should tell you enough that you are... Because she's beautiful, it says... I make her laugh. I make her laugh. She loves everything about you. Wait. Eddie. That's not helping. It's hurting again. That's not helping. No, I meant that he's able to get on you. Well, no. See, Eddie, easy. Rico Kasich. Okay, Eddie. You're making it hurt again. What? No. I'm helping. Come on. We're all good now. I'm handsome, right, Skye? Yes. By the way, I beat the crap out of that old guy in that number two picture. Really?
Yeah, I kicked him right in the face. Hey, by the way, if you want to comment on this, 570-1053. You gave him the whole thing, huh? If you've seen these photos, I want to hear from you. That is rough. Who is Nuno Betancourt? Nuno Betancourt was the guitar player for Xtreme. Why do you ask? Yeah, why do you ask? Why do you ask? Honestly, Mike, I could not tell if it was you or Nuno Betancourt in those pictures. Who wrote that to you? Sky. No, no, no, not Sky. You think I'm going to know Robert? Don't come in here. Don't you come in here. P-U-N-K. Yeah, he dropped his phone. I didn't do anything. You dropped your phone. She read the text wrong. What, you got a butter phone? What's going on? Yeah, you got a butter phone. What are you? Plexico Burris cell phone over there? Fell out of his purse, man. Yeah, fell out of your little cell purse. Your little man purse. Okay. You know what? Not one phone line is ringing because everyone turned into pillars of salt. I can't believe that. They can't see the numbers on the phone because they're crying. They're laughing so hard. Oh, God.
I can't believe that we posted those. We have this beautiful new website, and this is what we put up. Seriously, I'm going to invent an alarm clock that when it goes off, it also flashes a picture on your wall, and I want these to be the pictures. I want to wake up to it. Shut up. Shut your stupid mouth. This is radio, and it's heyday, man. This is... Marky Mark. You can be quiet over there. Turkey. It makes me feel so bad about continuing to eat turkey food after Thanksgiving. Do you still have leftovers? You do? I do too. You do? You do, Ash? That's shocking. I've been savoring them. I literally give myself portions every day that I laugh. Tell me what your sandwich is. Mine? Yeah. I like the whole wheat bread and then... It's already over. What's the point of it? Ash, it's already going to be fattening. Go for it, man. Whole wheat bread and then stock. And then I put the turkey and then I put the stuff. White or dark? I prefer it. But I'll do either. I'm not like, you know, crazy about it. So do I, Mike. I'll take the Roman. Cranberry sauce. Stuffing.
Salt, pepper. Celery? What'd you say? Cranberry sauce. Stuffing. Salt and pepper. Salt and pepper? Yeah. You take like the salt and pepper shaker? With cranberry? Dude, you know what's so terrible though? Is that like usually turkey and all that stuff, it's so salty. Like all that stuff is so salty. She's putting more salt on it. More like the pepper. You do? Yeah, but I don't put cranberry stuffing and all that stuff on mine. And that's it. You make it just like me. I know, Robin, I get it. You know what? Real quick, this year, which I forgot I did last year, I always make one with the King's Hawaiian bread. That's great stuff. Is that the one where you cut the loaf yourself? You can, or now they have just like the little rolls that are perfect for like tiny sandwiches after. Oh my God, changed my life. If I bring turkey in, let's have all of us make our sandwiches and try them. No, I'm not going to eat us, please. I'm not going to eat us. I'll take the hit, guys, and I'll eat them all. Yeah, whatever. I will. I don't want to. How is this guy going to eat mine? I put mustard in mine. I will not. Come on. Let's videotape it and put it on the website of us all eating our sandwiches.
No. Yes. Yes. Is Skye going to eat Eddie's? Eddie, you have to eat Ashley's. You warm yours up, right? Yeah. That's not bad. I won't eat Ashley's, though. Skye, do you warm yours up? Can we pull a name out of a hat and that's the one you have to eat? Ooh, I kind of like that. No. No. No. That's awful. No, you're either luck out or you're... Yeah. Skye, there's only one you have to worry about. Dude, I like that. That's interesting. Eddie's is a concern. It's turkey roulette. Turkey roulette. I love it. Oh, yeah. Come on, Eddie. Come on, Eddie. Come on, Eddie. Yeah, you get Eddie. I don't think you would like mine. I don't. You know, I just do mayonnaise, mustard, and salt and pepper on French bread. No, I don't want mustard. I don't want mustard. I don't want mustard. I think I want Ashley's. Don't you do tomato, too? Believe it or not. Oh, you don't do tomato. I would love that. I want Ross. I can for you. No, thank you. Mine is going to be supreme. Oh, it's going to be gross. What do you put? Well, half-cooked turkey, first of all. Yeah. Hey, bloody turkey. Mike said he'll bring me turkey. Yeah, you got to have it medium-rare. Gross. Gross. How do you want that turkey? What do you put in it? What do you put in it? Oh, man. If I got the leftovers, I will basically do everything. I'll do... First, you got to get a nice slab of turkey to sit everything on. And then you, you know, do like a...
Cranberry, almost like you're spreading jelly. Filthy. And then on top of that, you got to have the stuffing. And then a light mash, a light mashers. And then if you got it. Some corn, man. Corn on the top. How do you even keep it together? In the mashers. See, it's all about the stuff. Some corn, man. Oh, dude, I'm telling you. I'll do a light pepper. Depends on. And Sky, what's yours? The salt thing and a little salt. This is the worst. Get ready to get a glass of water because this is so dry. Oh, no. Well, I prefer my bread to be toasted. So it depends what I have. I respect that. If I have like a French loaf or a baguette, I'd like to put it in the oven and toast a little bit. If I don't have that. If I've got a baguette.
Which I normally do in my purse. Yes, I'll go to the bread drawer. Well, I ask my baker. Yes, I generally ask my baker, do you have any warm... Stuff on. Yes. Do you have any baguettes available? Do you have a warm baguette? But normally what we have in the house is like sourdough bread. So I'll put it in the toaster, some slices of sourdough in the toaster. And then I put a very small amount of turkey. Like just a very light. White. White meat. Dry, white. Why? Cold? Right out of the refrigerator, cold, white meat. No, I like it a little warm. So you put it in the microwave. A little. So you take what is probably already dry breast meat and you dry it out more in the microwave. Just a little nuke, you know. So foul. And then a lot. Well, I wouldn't say a lot, but I'd say a medium amount of cranberry. And that's it. Wait, wait, wait. Yep, yep, yep, yep. Turkey, cranberry, and bread. No. That's all I need. No condiments. No condiments. No. So no flavor. No, Eddie, no flavor. The cranberry makes it moist. Cranberry. So it's a turkey jam toasted sandwich. It's like a PB&J, but with turkey. If you say it like that, I'm kind of in. Yeah, see? Sounds delish. I need it.
It's so boring, though. I'll bring turkey. I'll bring turkey. I'll bring turkey. The turkey is boring, not you, Skye. What about the other stuff, like the taters and the stuffing and all that stuff? I can make stuffing tonight. You can make stuffing? Yeah. Oh, that'd be awesome. What about potatoes? This is like a potluck. He's got potatoes. Skye, you're in potatoes. Can they be from a box? Nope. You are the worst person I've ever seen. That's homemade. Thank you. She's something else, dude. You're the worst person alive. What if I go to the deli and buy some and then we can nuke them up? No. Make them. I think like Hunter Croc makes some in like a tub. Oh, you're right. Yeah. I'll get those. No. Make mashed potatoes. That takes forever, bro. It's not that hard. It doesn't take forever. You just gotta put them in water. Yeah, put them in water. Put them in the microwave for about half an hour. Mike, I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted. I've just finished completing the project. Project Potato. I just finished. Nap my forehead. I'm flushed. I need a nap. I'm eating the papers. Ashley, you're on cranberry. I got cranberry. Okay. Yeah, I got plenty of that. All right, so we're bringing in stuff tomorrow. We'll videotape it. Why can't I have cranberry? Now, you, the listener, are probably wondering right now, what's in it for me? You're probably wondering what's in it for me. Oh, you have no idea. I'll tell you what's in it for you.
We don't want to eat anybody's food. Nobody's even close to being the same. They're all drastically different. And so it's going to be... I just can't wait to watch Sky. I want to pull my own name. I am not touching it. We cannot. If we pull our own name, we throw the name back in and we draw again. I don't want wheat bread. Go ahead, Ashley. With the cranberry sauce, do you want me to bring in the kind that you guys like? The cans? Because I got homemade cranberry sauce. I don't want it. Bring in the homemade. I'm kidding. It's got Friskas in it. Probably some weird thing. I'm going to bring both. She makes it weird. It's got food in it. Sammy's been licking it. Yes. Bring both. I'm going to bring both. Oh, that is awesome. You can have an option. This is gross. Oh, I'm hungry. This is going to happen tomorrow. This is going to happen tomorrow. That's stupid. I love it all. All of it. A bad overturn crash here on the South 805 at Main Street in Chula Vista, so watch for the slowdown there. Heading north in the 805, things are starting to break up a little bit. You still have some stuff to deal with up through National City.
Off and on in pockets in the North Park, and then a tough ride again out of Kearney Mesa, heading up over the 52. West 94 on the King Freeway, still slow from Home Avenue, solid in the downtown. Your 8-wide's looking good, just a minor delay past the Q here in Mission Valley. South 15, though, still slow and go off to 78 to view Rancho Parkway coming in at Vescondido. Traveling westbound on that 56, still finding a break. That's here as well from Rancho Sanofi Farms through Carmel Valley to the 5 connector. And heading south on that 5, that's still a bit tight from Encinitas. Down at the Solana Beach. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. San Diego's Rock. Mikey's show continues with Mikey. Keeping it complete. That's what I'm doing. That sounded hard. And Ashley. I don't get along very well. I don't think with, like, normal, boring people. Oh, come on. Wait a minute. It's the Mikey Show on The Rock. It is 8-22. I don't know why it took them a year to figure this one out, but a report was released yesterday saying that the U.S. economy has been in a recession since December of last year. Monday Night Football last night saw rookie running back Steve Slayton score twice, leading Houston to a 30-17 win over Jacksonville.
Our text number is 35253. Our phone number is 5701053. And if you looked at our pictures from 1992, Eddie and I from 1992, feel free to give us a call, 5701053. If you checked them out, getting some text messages about them right now. Mikey, Eddie's mullet is the greatest. I can't stop laughing. Why do you mean laughing? What do you mean laughing? Why would they be laughing? Wouldn't they be impressed? Wouldn't they be too good? Well, you know how sometimes when you get turned on, you get, like, kind of awkward and giggles? Okay, that's cool. Kind of like that. That's cool, then. Mikey, those pictures put the biggest smile on my face. I love them. That's P1 Lucy. Glad we could help. Yep. That's what we're here for. I'm just trying to... It's our public service to you. You're a hideous picture. Don't let it go. Oh, my. Come on. Should we only leave them up for, like, a short amount of time? That's a good idea. No. Oh, no. Come on. We never do that. What's the point of leaving them up? Yeah. What's the point? Yeah, exactly. Well, what's the point of taking them down? It helps. Who? Us. Society. Society. The community at large. Mm-hmm. This was president-elect.
Don't tell him that. He thinks he's in there already. You can tell by the way he's being all bossy and holding press conferences all the time. I think he's already in there. Cut one. I have known Hillary Clinton as a friend, a colleague, a source of counsel, and a tough campaign opponent. She possesses an extraordinary intelligence and a remarkable work ethic. I am proud that she will be our next Secretary of State. I had to do it. You did not have to do it. I forced my hand. That's right. No. Come on. Token white woman. Yeah, so that's our new Secretary of State. Is everybody cool with that? Yeah, I think it's exciting. Why? I don't know. I think she'll be great. At what? At, you know, communicating. Inspiring people. Communicating with other countries and, you know, helping out. Getting people fired up.
She should have been put in charge of firing up committee. What are you talking about? You don't believe me? Just listen to her. Cut to. President Kennedy once said that engaging the world to meet the threats we face was the greatest adventure of our century. Well, Mr. President-elect, I am proud to join you on what will be a difficult and exciting adventure in this new century. I am not reading this. No, wow. Come on. So she comes prepared. Leave her alone. Is that your comeback to that? So she comes prepared. Well, we're not allowed to write things down before we say them? It's okay to say she's stodgy. Leave her alone. I don't use that word. You don't understand that word. Well, that may be true as well. That's why I don't use it. Okay? Whatever. Well, whatever. What the hell? Oh, Bill. Hey, what's up? It's Bill Clinton. Oh, you're just talking about your wife? Yeah. All the womanizers in the house make some noise. Okay. You probably shouldn't say that. I might say, hey. Okay, that's enough. I'm so happy for my wife.
This is a very courageous day for her. It is. Yeah. I mean, I think she's awesome. Yeah. You guys think about this for a second, all right? Okay. First thing I said to her when I found out that she was going to be the Secretary of State, I go, you go, girl. That's nice. I said, girl power. Nice. I like it. Pretty awesome. Yeah. I think she's going to be a great Secretary of State. Yeah. It's got the word secretary in the title. Well, you should be careful. Any woman should be able to handle it. I'll let you guys in on a little secret, Hillary. What's that? You have to listen real close. Next time she's speaking at the podium, all right? Whenever she clears her throat or she calls, she's actually covered. Why would you say that? That is not appropriate to say. Let me tell you something, guys. That lady has more gas than Skye at Cheese and Milkapalooza. There's no such...
And so I have a problem with lactose, okay? I don't trust any of your business with it. Now, yesterday when she was accepting her award for Secretary of the Year, I asked a guy. No, that's not you. Secretary of State. It's not an award. Seriously, I asked this guy next to me. I'm like, what's that smell? That is so bad. What's she doing up there? Will you stop with that? It's your wife. Throw up. I'm so proud of her, Eddie. You are? Mm-hmm. Okay. I believe that Secretary of State is a move up from Secretary of Ball and Chains. It is a promotion. And Prime Minister of Coattail Riding. That is harsh. Hey, by the way, Eddie, can you hook me up with Ashley's phone number? You're still married, Billy, man. Oh, look what I just found. I just found a post-it note of the little note that I wrote for Hillary after I heard she was going to get this nomination. You guys want me to read it to you? Sure. A little note that I wrote to Hillary when I found out. It says, Dear Hillary, I'm so proud of you. You really deserve it. The way you lost the nomination.
such an inexperienced guy like Obama and yet still have the bravery to tuck your tail between your legs and accept this yes man position. I don't know how you do it, Hill. I sure wouldn't have, but I guess that's why you're a bigger man than I am. You are the worst husband ever. First of all, Bill is a woman. You're the worst husband in the world. Not a very nice thing to say. Let me tell you something. I thought that the Clintons were about 10 seconds away for competing on Family Feud until all this happened. Wait, what? Me, Hillary, Chelsea sucks. We would have killed it. Hillary went and got named Secretary of State. Now I need to focus on getting us on Press Your Luck. I don't think so. No whammies, big bucks. Come on, baby. Let's do this thing. Forget it. Hey, I got a joke for you. What has one thumb and doesn't vote for Hillary? This guy. Did you get that?
I'm holding the phone with the other one. This guy. You see, I got the phone in the other hand. I got one more. Why did the chicken cross the road? He was cheating on Hillary, too. Okay. A little much, Bill. What's up with Hillary's haircut, by the way? Subway throwing a haircut with a $5 foot long deal right now? What's going on with that? That's a great supporter. I know. Worst husband ever. Great choice, Obama. By the way, he's a good-looking cat. Ain't nobody going to scare that guy off. Put that atrocity Hillary up there and put that atrocity she calls a face on camera. They're not going to give. What? Sorry, I had an eye line. Oh, okay. That affected your mouth? That is weird. You put that atrocity, Hillary has a face on camera, and they're not going to invade because they're going to. They're going to what? Maybe it's another eyelash. Is she crying? They're going to think that's the best we have to offer. That's not funny. I hear you laughing. I'm not laughing. I had an eyelash. Is that the case? Oh, my goodness. Are you all right? Easy wife.
Being appointed Secretary of State's a great honor, but for me, I'm just really thankful that Hillary is finally going to try a new position. That's what I'm doing. Hey, Bill. Hey, guys, I got to go, all right? I'll talk to you guys later. Dear people of the world, The Mikey Show is on. But at what cost? At what cost? This is The Rock. Tell me your thoughts in your head, Eddie. It could be worse. You could live in Seattle. Oh. The Mariners had a worse record than the Pogues. The Seahawks have a worse record than the Chargers. And they lost their NBA franchise. Oh, yeah. All in one year. I forgot about that. So, there you go, San Diego. Can be worse. Enjoy. I'll tell you this. Those are uniforms. Please. You look so cool, right? The Pogues are going to be busted out on Thursday. Yes. Playing Thursday against Oakland. Oh, they're still going to play? There you go. The Mikey Show continues.
Rock 105.3. It's the Mikey Show at 836. Jennifer Hudson's ex-brother-in-law was arrested and charged yesterday with the October murders of her mom, brother, and nephew. Stephon Marbury was banished by the Knicks until they can figure out how to get rid of him. Hey, you know, earlier I said I was going to tell you about these youth, the young Americans in this country that that's very redundant. Young people in this country that have personality disorders. How many people, according to this study, young people have personality disorders? Well, they say one in five young American adults, and they consider a young American adult to be somebody between 19 and 25 years old. We just missed it. So one in five have personality disorders that they say interfere with everyday life. They say if they add to that.
controlled substances, that wouldn't take it up to half of young American adults have some sort of psychiatric condition. What falls under the umbrella of personality disorder? Is that ADD? Well, they don't list ADD here, but... I don't know if that counts or not. Of course it would. I think so. I think so. They list things like obsessive or compulsive tendencies, antisocial behavior, and they say that of that group, less than 25% actually seek treatment for this. That's me. So 75% just deal with it. Yeah, I got all that. Yeah, so that's pretty scary. Yeah, genocide. I still have that. I've had it ever since they started wearing skinny pants. I don't think Jonas-itis is a real thing. Oh, really? Well, what are the symptoms? You haven't heard that rocking song then. Screaming. Putting your hands to your face and crying. Thank you. It is so rocking. Rocking, by the way. It is. Hey, by the way, you want to go to Vegas with us? Because we're going. Yeah, dude. Next week. Yeah, we're going next week. We're going to be a part of the, we're going to go watch the finale of the UFC Ultimate Fighter TV show.
They're going to have the finale fight right there at the Palms. That's the Palms one. That's right, dude. Never been there. Dude, Palms is great, man. It's got a movie theater in it. You're going to freak out. That's awesome. It's crazy, man. The Palms is crazy. It's bananas. Oh, look at that, Ash. It's bananas. So bananas. Listen, if you want to go with us, you can just roll. Yeah. It was a good attempt. Yeah. Is it sound hip for a guy that used to be morbidly obese? Let it go, my face. It's real cool, then. We should take the pictures down. Never. Well, here's the deal. If you want to go, you can just go up there. And you can stay at the Palms or whatever. But if you want to win, airfare, tickets to the fight, go to the Beverages and More in La Mesa or Encinitas and put your name in the hopper. Yeah. That's how you do it. And it's very cool. Very, very cool. When are we going to draw that? When are we going to pick a winner? I think we're going to do that next week. We're going to do that. That's awesome. Right before we go, we're going to do it. It's going to be great. I can't wait. I'm so excited. So we're going to broadcast from the palms on Friday of next week and talk to UFC fighters and all that crazy stuff. Dude, it's going to be great. Like slot machines. I might get a tattoo. Really? I might. Do it.
They have that Huntington and Hart. Is that what it's called? Hart and Huntington? The tattoo? Corey Hart's place? Corey Hart's place. It's right there at the Palm. And I want to finish filling in my arm. So I'm thinking maybe... Get one on your forehead. You think so? Yeah. What should I do? Like Mike Tyson. What should I put? A little tribal on the forehead? Sweet. That's a pretty good idea. Yeah. That's a really fantastically good idea. Thank you. Sounds like fun. Let's see. I want to tell you about the new study. Now, actually, I don't want to talk about that. Let's talk about Kirsten Dunst. Why? Why would we need to do that? Here we go. Kirsten Dunst's assistant performed a citizen's arrest on an alleged stalker. Can't say stalker because we don't know until they've gone through the criminal system. Exactly. Alleged stalker. Yeah, this dude got past security at her house. Allegedly. Well, I think it's proven that the dude got past security. But yeah, so I guess she wasn't there at the time. Allegedly. Well, no, it was a fact. She wasn't actually there. So the assistant saw this dude and went out and performed a citizen's arrest. Citizen's arrest. Yes, you're under arrest by me, a citizen.
How does that work? I don't know. I would just lock the doors and call the police, but whatever. Punch them. Can I just arrest somebody if I want to? Well, they have to be doing something wrong. What if Ashley's backtalking? I'm like, you're under arrest. I think according to the law, she's allowed to do that. She is? That's messed up. I'm submitting a bill for that. Backtalk bill. Revoke the First Amendment. Yes. Well, when it comes to sass, yes. For sure. So now Kirsten has filed the paperwork to get a restraining order. Why do you hate her so much? Why do you hate her so much? She's a great actress. She's beautiful. She seems like sweet. Why Kirsten Dunst, of all people? She's awful. But why? She's sweet. We hate you. I'll never forget when I saw her on Ellen, and she was just her personality. Ellen was trying to be funny with her, and she wouldn't be funny back, and she almost even had attitude like she was kind of a B. Really? She turned me off, and I already thought she was a horrendous actor and tough on the eyes. Oh, what? That was like hating someone right there. That was an overreaction. Unnecessary.
Wow. A guy said that Tina Fey's telling everybody now what the scar on her face is. Yeah, I've wondered this forever. No one's ever known. And I said to my, because I read this online last night, and I said to my husband, oh my gosh, Tina Fey's finally talking about the scar on her face. And my husband says, what scar? Are you for real? We watched Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, like religiously, and he has never noticed the scar on her face. I've never noticed. Are you serious? Sky said it like maybe a month ago. It's so prominent, bro. I don't know what you guys are talking about. What? I'm serious, but I don't watch those shows. I don't watch those shows. I gotta look it up. Yeah, look it up. Google image it. I'm telling you, it's very prominent. I actually don't know what that is. It's on the left side of her face. Yeah, it's on the left side of her face. She tries to be shot from the right side, but you can't really avoid it because it goes kind of towards her lip on the left front side of her face. Turns out the scar is really Jimmy Fallon. Yeah. What about that? Or Jimmy Hoffa? Well, it's just because Rob hates Jimmy Fallon. Who wants to make a Jimmy Fallon joke? Why so serious? Left side of the face.
Like if she's looking at me, her left? Rob. What? There's my left? You said spider. But I don't know. Tina Fey makes everything off of Rob's left. We got a bleeder! What is he talking about? So how did she get the scar? Well, she does an interview with Vanity Fair when she said, you know, she really hasn't wanted to talk about it before because she felt it was somehow like exploiting and glorifying what happened. But she was five years old. She was playing in the front yard of her Pennsylvania home when a stranger walked up, approached her, and cut her face. Oh, my God. Just unreal. Yeah. That's unreal. And she says, you know, that it wasn't really a traumatic experience for her. Like, she didn't feel like it was traumatic and kind of lived her life, you know, like it was no thing. But she says, you know, she does go to therapy and that her therapist says, because her daughter right now is three, her therapist says, you will have a breakdown when your daughter turns five years old. You will, like, a fear will come inside you. Oh, yeah, now that you're telling her to. Oh, man. Oh, wow. Who's her therapist? Joe Biden? Yeah, seriously.
That's terrible. Yeah, so now we know how that happened. It's the truth though, man. When you have something that is traumatic, you project that with your kid. You're just really fearful with your own kid. But I think that's too bad. It's a weird thing. It is a weird thing. That's wild. I never even noticed. Do you see it now? Yeah, I just found an okay picture. Kind of scary. Ben Stiller has signed on for a third Meet the Parents movie. Unnecessary. And is working on Zoolander 2. Unnecessary. That's really unnecessary. It flopped. It flopped big time. Yeah. Big time. I have not seen those big blockbuster Ben Stiller movies. Like Zoolander. I haven't seen Meet the Parents. I haven't seen Zoolander. I haven't seen Dodgeball. I haven't seen any. Wow. I don't know that I've seen any Ben Stiller movies. Are you a pilot fucker? You're not missing much, man. Have you seen Tropic Thunder yet? But I want to really bad. Okay, I'm going to bring it in. I pass on grass. I'll watch it. You're going to watch it. Will you buy me... Before 2009. Will you buy me Lars and the Real Girl when you do it? Bring it to you? Yeah, buy it from me. Did I get it? Do I have it? I don't remember if I bought it.
I thought you did. Mike, you are a gem, dude. I don't know. You are a diamond in the rock. I need Eddie or Sky or my wife to always tell me what's going on. I don't know if I have that. I got that. Do I have that, Eddie? I think so. You said you were going to buy it. I thought you did. Maybe not. Who knows? I got to look. You guys would know better than I would. That's the truth. I don't know. Well, I'll bring it for you just in case. Programmer at Fox says it. In terms of American Idol, expect way more emotional stuff when they come out next time. Insider. They were running the promos for it. I don't think I'm going to watch this. Why? You say that every year. Every single year you say that. I'm serious this time. You're not, though, because you say that every time. They're showing the clips of the bad audition. Can I just not watch the bad audition thing? That's the best part. Why do they do that still? It's the worst part. I haven't watched that part for the last couple years. I think I'm over that. It'll take ratings to be down during that, and that's not going to happen. It's like seven weeks of bad auditions. Like, I get it. Yeah. One version of software version 7.0. Okay. All right, I'm back in. No. If they were that good, then I would. It's a custom activity.
Part of it, to me, I don't think it's funny exploding people with mental handicaps. Wait a second, Eddie. I don't think it's funny. Wait, though. Ashley was on American Idol. Yeah, I was. No, I do agree with Eddie. I think that it was awful when he did that to people. But Ashley... Yeah. So, Eddie, you'll love this quote when they're talking about how the new season is going to be different. They say it's going back to letting the kids be more emotional and seeing more of their reality. We're going to allow the public to see a little more of their emotional state. Because one girl committing suicide in front of Paul Abdul's house is not enough. We've got to get those numbers up. Terrible. Yeah, that's really bad. So creepy. Oh, come on. Come on, snap along. Snap along. Snap along. Come on, snap with the beat of the beat. Come on. She make you take your clothes to make you never cry. Come on. Emotion. Emotion. There it is. Wow. Sweet home Alabama. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Now this is emotion. Beautiful. Many as it takes. They're going to Hollywood. Have you guys seen the clip of Simon saying, I'm not kidding, I don't want to do this part anymore. I think it's genuine, I don't think he does. I'm sure he doesn't. I don't think he does want to do the bad auditions. This is a good audition. It's almost like he's telling a story. It is. He is. He is, for sure. He's going along to the right. He does that Manilow thing where Manilow says, sometimes all you got is the lyrics. So feel them. Makes sense. Oh, here we go. A warm cup of noodles. It is. It warms your belly up. Sounds so good right now. So salty. It's like a warm cup of noodles, isn't it, Skye? Does cup of noodles go bad?
You guys are just such a great force for San Diego and everyone listening. San Diego is really, really lucky to have you guys on the radio every morning. In the beginning, the automobile was invented as a luxury item for the very wealthy. Johnny Rockefeller and Jenny Moneybags tooled around like royalty on their very own self-propelled motor car. Flash. Henry Ford's newfangled assembly line idea makes the car affordable to every ham and egg working stiff from coast to coast. And that set off 85 years of absolute excruciation of having to negotiate for a decent price with every 2-bit used car dealer looking to make a fast buck off a slow car. CarMax came along. The red cups are back, and, you know, one of the things that I always used to think when I would see those red cups at Starbucks is, oh, it's the season. They might as well be green, whatever. The truth is that there's actually a meaning behind it, and Starbucks is pretty cool. What they do is they want to give back to the areas where they are actually growing that coffee. And so what they're doing is if you buy some coffee in those red cups, you're going to be giving to a really great cause. Five cents will be contributed to the Global Fund to help save lives in Africa. They're trying to save the lives of people that are suffering from AIDS. And I just think that's a really cool cause. Now, you can find out more about it if you want to by going to Starbucks.com slash Red. It'll tell you all about it, but do something good every day if you can, man. Starbucks is a proud partner of Product Red. You don't have to wait any longer. With Walmart's unbeatable prices, you can now upgrade to the phenomenal movie-watching experience of Blu-ray. It's a very famous phrase you've heard a million times. I went on their website, Apple.com.
I'm just messing around on there, looking at stuff. I do this often because they have a rad website. I'm on there and they have a little video about the new MacBook. And this new MacBook in you nerdy PC talk, that's a PC, people call that a laptop. Macville, we call it a notebook. So the new MacBook. Watch the little video. Go to Apple.com, watch the little video. It's so awesome. They took the body of it and they carved it out of a solid piece of aluminum with this machine. And they show you how they do it. This thing is so awesome. The glass on it, the whole deal. And they've turned the trackpad into an actual mouse. So you click the trackpad. It's so awesome. I'm telling you, I love Mac stuff. Do yourself a favor. Go buy one of the stores. They got an Apple store at Fashion Valley. Go check this stuff out, man. It's unbelievable. And you talk about a Christmas present. Oh, it'd be awesome. This stuff is great. I'll never be anything but a Mac, dude. Now back to the Mikey Show. Featuring Mikey. I like to communicate through writing. Eddie.
I wish I could go golfing every day and play video games all day long and do all these things. Sky. You know how I'm not a big fan of combining foods? Like, I don't like to, you know, like. Yeah. Sean. Because I get seasick pretty easily now. Boston Rob. I'm not a sheep, Mike. That's right, he's not a sheep. And Ashley. Evidently, I talk to get attention. Save that one. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3. Way I want it to. Rob is the ultimate big brother to Seth. Oh, yeah. He does something wrong? Blame it on Seth. It's hysterical. Welcome back. It's 8.59. A group of bank robbers threw their bag of money out on the street in Rancho Bernardo after the dye pack and the money exploded. I got breaking news. What do you got, Eddie? How about the WEC, which is...
You know, the sister company to the UFC. Yeah. Coming to San Diego. What? The WEC is coming to San Diego. World of String Cage Fighting is going to be at the San Diego Sports Arena January 25th with Uriah Faber taking on Jens Pulver in a rematch from their big fight in 2008. No, I'm not an MMA guy, so I don't know about this, but is that a big thing? That's humongous. Really? And it's going to be here in San Diego. Really? Yeah, it's not even announced yet. It's gigantic. Wow. You're going to go for sure? Oh, dude. Really? I'm going to be walking him down, man. I'm going to put him on my shoulders, dude. He's tiny. I cannot. Zef, did you hear me? WEC in San Diego? Yeah, dude. That's awesome. Are you going to go? If Eddie pays for the ticket, yes. I'm sure I can get you tickets. Yeah, we can probably get him, right? All right. I'm going. You like any of those dudes? Uri Faber is an animal, but he got caught in the face with a stupid elbow last time, so I don't know. You got a guy that you kind of follow and that you like? Yeah. Who? His name is Uriah Faber. Eddie? He's being a smartass. You know, listen, I try with him. I know. I'm sorry that that happened. I was trying to help. I wonder why we don't include him more in conversation. I really was. And then what he does is... To make you look like him. But first he goes like this. First he goes... Like he gets it all built up. And then he goes... Right in your face.
He builds it up first, you know? Yeah, that's uncalled. You're, like, handing him a gift, you know, and he's, like, and he, like, builds it up until he's got a big one, and then I chew right at you. And you're, like, but I, but I, you know? So it'll be gigantic. It'll be on versus. You got a guy there you like? Is that a particular guy you like? Yeah, he's real good. Who's that? Uriah. Uriah Faber. All right. Uriah Faber. I try to give you a favor. Yeah. All right. Uriah. That's right. Yeah, ticket start at just $35. Not too bad. Really? Yeah, you can get them at, they go on sale Thursday at Ticketmaster.com or Sports Arena Box Office. All right. Okay. Listen to this email. Tell me what you think of this. Okay. Mikey, I have a real problem with a guy I'm dating. I was looking at his phone and came across a picture of a naked girl. I wasn't snooping or anything. He knew I was playing with it. I was kind of shocked and asked him about it. He says it was a picture one of his friends sent him. The picture wasn't professional. It was taken at somebody's house. I'm not sure he is telling me the truth because he was at a party the previous weekend and it could have been taken there. If it was sent to him by a friend, why didn't he delete it? I feel a bit of mistrust there. I don't know what to do. I can't tell if he's lying or not. Should I just drop it or should I keep bugging him about it? It really bothered me. Thanks, guys. P1 Jamie. Here's what I think, Jamie. Of course you were snooping.
Of course you were snooping because... Well, hang on. I gotta at least get my point out there complete. Well, you're attacking her. I haven't finished, though. You haven't finished attacking? Yeah. I gotta finish the attack and then you can... No, no, no. I honestly have different layers to my opinion. First of all, I just think it's... I don't think she's being honest when she says I wasn't snooping or anything. I was... He knew I was playing with it. Are you playing Q-Bert on his phone? Come on. Listen, this is what I do know. Even if he knew that she was on there playing around with his phone, she's going in there looking at different stuff, and she knows it. She's looking at his text messages. Why would you need to throw in, I was in Snoopy. Exactly. I was in Snoopy. Hands up. Where's your friend Woodstock, Snoopy? Get it? Good one. Really good. I'm just taking this one at a time because I'm just going through the email. So that's the first part. But the second part is when she says, he says it was a picture one of his friends sent to him. The picture wasn't professional. It was taken at somebody's house. It doesn't matter if it was taken professionally or if it was taken. It doesn't matter if it's a Playboy picture or if it was taken at somebody's house using the phone.
Please, I beg you. It matters. Well, it does. It does matter. I'm just going to plead with you. All right, finish, and then I'll tell you how it matters. No. In my opinion, in my opinion, I don't think it matters whether it was a professional picture or taken at somebody's house. It's wrong either way, in my opinion. Yes, but what is more wrong than the other? Versus. How do you deal with that? He had to give his CPR. I don't understand that. How would he? Because if he took the picture, if it's a picture taken in someone's house. No, I didn't understand the CPR. No, he's just being a jerk. I didn't even get it. I apologize for my friend. Thank you. You've been robbed. I appreciate it. You know how you're in a state of confusion right now? You've been wrong. All right, Skye. I guess so. I guess. I mean, I can give it to you. But I think it's wrong either way. But I mean, it's just kind of weird when you get into what's more wrong. I mean, okay. But I'll give you that. So if he took it in the house, as opposed to my friend sent me a picture that he got of this hot girl that's, you know, on a website.
Okay, I'll give it to you. But in my opinion, I think it's wrong either way because it means your boyfriend is taking a look at other chicks. Nudies. Which means that he does not only have eyes for you. He's also got eyes for other boobs. That's the song. That's just how the song goes. That's my opinion though. And so when she says, I feel a bit of mistrust there, I'm like, duh. Listen, if the deal is that you get into a relationship and you're only supposed to eat my peanut butter sandwiches and you're looking in the guy's lunchbox and there's a peanut butter sandwich from some other girl. Oh, my gosh. You're going to be like, hey, I thought we had a deal. You're supposed to have my sandwich. What is going on? But that's one dude's opinion. And I understand other people don't feel this way. Eddie, what do you think?
I don't share the same stance at looking at sandwiches as Mikey does. Yeah, I mean, the reason why he didn't delete it is because it's a naked girl and he's a dude. A lot of dudes don't delete their naked pictures and things like that. I want to squeeze them. That's why if you want an explanation of why he didn't delete it. So what should she do, Eddie? I don't even know why we're talking about this. Eddie, it's discerning to us women. This is an issue? Why is this an issue? Do you remember? So if you were able to talk... I'm literally confused right now. Eddie, if you were able to speak directly to her, then what would you say? Shut up. Maybe say it nice. Okay, please shut up. I mean, come on. Like, what do you think he did? Like, cheated on you? Like, I don't get it. I think he did. You think he cheated? Yeah. Why? Like, why are you jumped to that conclusion? Well, I... I replay, boy. Do I cheat on my wife? I believe yes, but that's my... I believe, yeah. You believe I cheat on my wife? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Let me explain. It's my religious views. It's my religious views. It's my religious views. That's a little offensive. Sorry. It's my religious views. My religious views...
say that Jesus says that if you look at another girl with lust in your heart, you're an adulterer. That's what he says. And I do it too. So let me just tell you, Eddie, I look at other chicks with lust in my heart too. So you're an adulterer? Uh-huh. According to him. You're both cheaters. Wait a minute. Now, if I say no, I'm not, if I say no, I'm not, I'm calling him a liar. Well, it depends on how you look at that. How you look at it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I take it for... You're a very literal person. I'm not as literal as you. Maybe you take it that he meant something different. I absolutely do. That's cool. It's all good. I mean, but that's the way I'm trying to do it now. And so, you know, I've gone through this whole thing. And so I can't look at that stuff. If I look at that stuff, then I start wanting that more and more. And then I don't see my wife the same. You know, the way that I work it now where I'm not looking at the nudies, my wife is like, I'm kind of hungry for her. It's different. Everybody's got a different take on it. And the last thing I do, though, I ain't looking at anybody else and going, and, you know, waving a finger. I'm just telling you the way that I do it and the way my views on it are. Skye, what do you think? Well, I went through something similar to this. Oh, jeez. I don't remember Eddie's infamous bachelor party in Tahoe. Please. Somebody by the name of Taheen decided. She has little eyes and her hair smells like cinnamon.
I decided to send my husband a little picture on the cellio. Oh. And I don't know. I didn't like it, which is weird. Was it in boobies? I think so. How did you know? Were you snooping? No, I didn't see it. I overheard them talking about it. Were you hanging out with Woodstock? You've been robbed. You've been robbed. I overheard them talking about it and then later asked him about it and he told me what it was. And for some reason, there's a difference to me. And I know this is hypocritical and it makes no sense whatsoever. Like, I really don't have a problem with the hubby looking at the Playboys and watching his Cinemax or whatever he wants to do as long as he's still into me. As long as I can read my Agatha Christie books. My story. It's Norma Roberts. Okay. Okay. Porno books. As long as he's still into me. As long as I can read pornography, he can look at me.
As long as I can read a book at the bar in New Orleans. We're getting off subject. So as long as he's still into me, I'm cool. As long as Vice mistakes me for a hooker, I'm fine. I'm fine. Shut up. So I'm cool with that. As long as he's still got some loving for me, you know, I'm cool. But for some reason, it's like different to me when he's like ogling a... Chick like who's walking down the street or a chick who he sees in the bar. Like that's an obtainable girl. Guess who's on the phone? The boo? Taheen. Oh. Oh. There we go. Guess who's listening online? Oh, Taheen. What up, T? The pornographer. The pornographer. You don't even know. The pornographer. I thought we had moved past this, guys. A woman wrote an email. I had to give my expert opinion. Uh-huh. Oh, expert opinion now. Well, I'm an expert now thanks to you. Sending porno on the phone. Taheen. Taheen. I can't, I admit, it may not have been right, but I think one of the reasons why we keep that kind of stuff is because we're man, like Eddie said, and it's sort of like a trophy. Question. Question. Collect them? Question. Like Buffalo Bill and his skin? What are you doing?
Let's take the nakedness out of it. Let's just say that it's clothed. If our wife has a picture of a hot dude at work on her phone, or not even work, if our wife has a picture of some hot dude that she saw at a party, she thought he was hot, so she took a picture of him, and it's in her phone, is that cool? I don't care. You don't care? I don't care. Dude, I do, man. If my wife has a picture of a guy, she was like, whoa, that dude's hot. She takes a picture of him, it's in her phone? That would bum me out. Yeah. See, to me, there's a difference between the everyday person and like a celebrity or a model because they're like a fantasy. They're unobtainable in my world. But the everyday person walking down the street. Yeah, because you have a porno guy on your computer at work. He is an actor. That's why you make it. He is an actor. Let's put that picture up on the website. Okay. People judge for themselves. Oh, I will be doing women a favor. He is an actor. She likes the picture, Eddie, because he's an actor. Really? Oh, yeah. He likes his craft. I'm a big fan of Friday Night Lights. I love that craft, baby. Look at this craft. Sky, does this mean you're going to take down all your pictures of Roman then? Good question. You know the attainable guy? He is a celebrity. He is not. He is a celebrity. Like when he picks you up in his arms and not attainable? That's a joke.
That is a joke, and people joke around. Totally. He is a married man. He is a celebrity. That is different. Hey, that girl was a celebrity in Tahoe that weekend. You are a celebrity. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, T. Thank you, T. What about you, Rob? What's your thoughts? Huh? Oh, no. He's right. Yeah, well, it's 9-13, meaning that his fiance is probably listening right now. Let's just say this. I wouldn't be doing any of that stuff. That's wrong. Yeah. You're such a jerk. Thanks for leaving me out on the island. Wow. You've been robbed. Ashley, what are your thoughts? I honestly agree with Eddie. Yeah, it's okay, right? I don't really see the big deal with it. Like, if you are secure in your relationship and you're confident in yourself, which both me and Eddie are, then you, you know, you all be well with each other. But honestly, like, I mean, if there was a picture that, you know, for some reason my boyfriend took of some hot girl and he like...
saved it, and I, like, found it, I think that is a little bit weird, but I wouldn't be tripping off of it. Yeah, that's definitely, like, the weird kind of, it's almost creepy if you're doing that. Seems a little weird. But, I mean, if your boys are sending you pictures. Yeah, if your boys sent you some picture of some hot chick, she's on a nice track. What if it's just, hang on. Whatever. But isn't it just a trophy? Come on. I mean, what's the big deal? I mean, we're guys. Can't we have a couple of hotties in the phone? What are you doing now? What is the big deal? I'm offering a point of view. What is the big deal? I mean, come on. It's not like we know her or anything. It's not like we're going to be meeting up with her next week. What's the big whoop? Hello? What is Mike doing? I'm offering another point of view. What about that? That isn't another point of view. That was my point of view. I'm doing a little devil's advocate. What is the big whoop? You're doing devil's advocate yourself. You thought what you thought. I want to hear what you think about that. He doesn't know her. What's the big whoop?
Again, it goes back to what I'm saying. Like an average, normal, everyday girl for some reason to me is creepy and she's like obtainable. But Sky, this was a party at some place that's not even in town. He's never going to see her again. Well, why are you at a party where a chick is taking her clothes off? He didn't know that she was going to take her clothes off. It happened spontaneously. Why is he snapping pitches though? Because she's naked. But if he's snapping the pictures, I mean, that's where you're going wrong. But if he's snapping the pictures... Wait a second. If he's snapping pictures... Why are you taking pictures of some naked chick? He's taking pictures because it doesn't mean anything. It's just a chick. It's just a trophy. I don't know what Mike is doing. Is he trying to fight with me? I'm trying to get your point of view by giving you the opposite. I want to hear what you think. You've been miked. I'm doing my Phil Donahue. 570-1053. What do you think? 35253. Text us or leave us a message. 858-715-1923. What are your thoughts? Is it cool? Is it a big deal? Man, what I think is interesting is hearing the chick point of view from Ash and she's like, it's no big deal. Sky says, it's no big deal unless it's a regular girl.
Meaning somebody attainable. Right. But then Eddie threw that thing in there about what about Roman Oban? He's a celebrity. I mean, he's an NFL player. Who you know and is attainable. He's married. He's not obtainable. So could that girl have been? Yeah, she was married. That's why she was taking her clothes off at a party. Because married girls would never do that. What are you talking about? Not respectable ones. Oh, that's... What? Like, what are you talking about? I'm saying a respectable married woman wouldn't take her clothes off at a party. Okay, but what does that have to do with anything? Well, I guess I'm... Well, now, wait a minute. Now, does that mean that a respectable single girl would?
No, in my opinion, no. No respectable girl would take her clothes off at a party. But I'm saying, to me, a girl who's married taking her clothes off at a party isn't committed to her wedding vows is what I'm saying. And so, yes, she is obtainable because she's a floozy. Even though she is married, she's a floozy. But it's okay if you're, it's not okay for your husband. No, no, no. It's not okay for your husband to look at a floozy. But it is okay. Unless she's a professional. A professional floozy is cool. Now I'm confusing myself. I'm just asking the questions. I don't know why everybody's freaking out. 570-1053. Text us 3525. Stop looking at what you ain't got and start being thankful for what you do got. Welcome back. It is 925. Britney Spears has announced that the Pussycat Dolls will be the opening act for her 2009 tour, which, sorry ladies, will not be coming to San Diego. Apologize the client arbitration to Trevor Hoffman, meaning he can sign anywhere. Oh, wow. He's still viable, Eddie. Trevor Hoffman? Yeah. Of course. Absolutely. The team would be smart to get him? Yeah. I mean, I don't know if he's, you know...
Shut down closer anymore, but, you know, maybe throw him in there in the eighth inning instead. He can still get the job done. Absolutely. 570. 105.3 is our phone number. Yeah, so this chick wrote us, P1 Jamie wrote us. She says, I found naked pictures taken at a party on my boyfriend's phone. I wasn't snooping. He knew I was playing with his phone. So, should she drop it or keep bugging him about it? Which, by the way, I never answered that question. Yeah, we never got that far. I never answered, should she drop it or keep bugging him? My rule with that stuff is you can't tell anybody that they are wrong or they're a bad person or they're, you know what I mean? But what you can tell them is the way it makes you feel. Oh, yeah. So you're allowed to say, oh, man, that really hurt my feelings to see that on there. But you can't say to them.
You better stop doing that, and you are wrong, and you're da-da-da-da-da. But you could tell him it made me feel bad when I saw it, you know? But she's projecting a lot of stuff. Like, you know, first of all, she asked him about it. He told her, and she didn't believe him. So, you know, she said that the guy said she got it from a friend. You know, now we're saying, you know, it was taken at a party, and we don't know that. We don't know any of that. Right. So she can't. So she can say, yeah, you know, hey, I don't care where it's from. It still hurt my feelings. I don't like it on there. But she can't. I mean, she's coming up with all these theories. She can't call him a liar. She can't tell him. That's not cool. She can't say to him, that's not true. That didn't come from, you know. She doesn't know. And she's got to take him for what it says. 570-1053 is the phone number. P1 Thelma. Is our phone? Thelma, you there? Yes, love. Go ahead. There she is. Okay. So she opened up Pandora's box by going through his phone. And he's a guy. You know, they're visual beings, and it doesn't necessarily mean that he's sleeping with this girl, and she's just being a beating and a martyr for doing it. And, like, I don't know. It's just stupid. Girls are dumb sometimes. So what do you think? You think it's okay? Would you have a line? What's that? Would you have a line? In other words, would you have a line? Like, what would it take to cross your line?
Well, I mean, if it becomes a habitual thing and like everything, everything like balance, you know, it's okay to watch a little porn, like do what you got to do. If he's like his whole phone's like blown up, his screensaver's boobies and like, you know what I mean? Got a question. Okay. How about this? What if, do you have any brothers and sisters? I have two older brothers. You have two older brothers. Uh, how about cousins? Yes. You have cousins? Yes. Guys and girls? Yes. Okay, what if he meets one of your cousins that's a girl at a party, he's got a naked picture of her, is that cool? Why does this, I don't know what context it goes into P1J. I'll explain, I'll explain. Okay. What if he's got a naked picture of your cousin, Melissa, on his phone, is that cool? Um, no. Why? Because, um, Melissa's my cousin. What if it's just one cousin, not a whole bunch, he's not making a habit out of it, it's just one cousin. I'm asking. No, no, no. You can explain. I'm just asking, bro. Don't get flustered. Come on. I'm asking. I'm asking. I'm working through the... Asked what the line was. She said if it's habitual.
We're talking one cousin here. We're not talking a whole dozen. It's not habitual. Hey, listen, if there was 12 cousins, even I'm going to be like, hey, we got a problem here. One cousin? Well, I think the line is probably family. Oh, okay, okay. I think that's probably another line. Hey, okay, fine. I'm freaking out the line. You are too much. What? Oh, my gosh. Really? Yeah. I'm trying to figure out the line here. Oh, really? Okay, so we figured out the line is family, right? Why? Okay, okay. Hang on. I know now I won't. go there. I won't go there. I promise, Kay. You're a gem. I'm not going to go for your best friend next. Watch out. Thelma. Oh, my mother. My mother. Thelma. She goes under the family. Thelma, do you have any best friends? See, I knew it. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Is that a line? Is that a line? Oh, that's cool. Okay. No, at least we're establishing a line. We've got a line.
The line is no family, one best friend. Well, here's the thing. It's just some random chick at a party who decided to, you know, lose it up and get naked. Right. And someone sends them a picture, whatever. You know what I mean? No big whoop. What if it's, now, what is the line in terms of like, because we want to be balanced here. We want to make sure that we have, we want to make sure that we have the appropriate number of floozies at the parties. What are you saying? What she said out loud. Okay, so we got to make sure that we only have a certain number of floozies from parties. So what's the number? There's no number, Mike. You said that it's everything in balance. If she was getting blown up, if he was getting blown up with him, it'd be a problem. So how many? Let's say you found three chicks, three parties. Is that cool or is that too many? Well, can I just say there's no number. It's just like if it becomes habitual. I get what she said. It's a feeling. It's a feeling. There's a fine line. There's a fine line. It's like funny and it's like, oh, boobs. Send this to my friend. And it's creepy. And it's like this guy's literally like obsessed. Now, just out of it. I get that. Very simple. So what I'm trying to figure out here.
So what I'm trying to figure out here is, like, where is that? Like, you know, hey, haha, this is pretty funny. Check this out. Oh, my gosh, that's hysterical. It's her own personal moral judgment. That's why I'm asking Thelma. So, Thelma, let's figure out what it is for Thelma. If he gets two of them, and, you know, is it so funny? That's fine. Yeah, it's a gut thing. Like, you know, it's... What about three? What about three? What about three? Oh, my God, Mike, I want to choke you. How come? I mean, honestly, I'm seriously trying to figure out what your personal line is. But wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. But do you notice? But do you notice that as I start to say it out loud and I actually start to paint it out out loud in your mind, maybe something is going, it doesn't quite sound right. It's like you're entrapping me. Like, it has to be a number. I'm just asking your feelings. You said that it's all a feeling, and if it gets habitual, you know, and I'm trying to figure out where could that be. Maybe you go, hey, listen, one, no big deal. Two, eh, I'm okay. Three, I don't know, we're getting warmer. Four, I got a problem now, Mike. I'm trying to figure out where that actually is. But you're getting upset as I ask, and pardon me for wondering.
But I wonder if maybe it's because when I say it out loud and it's revealed as the truth, it goes, ooh, ooh. It does kind of say, ooh, ah, ooh, ooh. I don't know. Okay. You're weird. All right. I will admit to that. I will admit to that. Now, wait a minute, wait a minute. P1 Anonymous is on the line and she says that this is irritating to her. Very. Why is it irritating? Okay, well, first, I dated a guy for, like, two years. And from the beginning, it was like, I don't think it's okay for guys to look at porn in a relationship. I don't see the point, especially if you're sexual with them. And, like, he lied about it. And so this is like, I mean, no pictures on the phone or anything, but it ended up coming up. And I just, I don't, I don't see how it's okay or appropriate, especially when you're.
Physical with that person. I got a question. I got a question. I have a feeling that if the topic right now were, call us up if you've ever done anything nice for somebody in the last six months, you wouldn't be P1 anonymous. But for some reason, which I don't know what it is, but for some reason, you don't want to tell us your name. How come you're P1 anonymous? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, if it's a, hey, listen, last six months, you do something nice for somebody, pull out the chair for them. Hey, I'm P1 Susie. I did it two weeks ago. And this lady was like, you're the sweetest person I've ever seen. No, because I don't know. I don't know who's listening. Yeah, yeah. Well, listen, what if your neighbor were listening? What if your mom were listening? I don't know. What would be the big whoop? Well, yeah, isn't she saying that she's against horror? Yeah, I thought you were saying. No, no, no. She's saying that it's no big deal. Oh. No, no, no. I think it is a big deal. She's saying it is a big deal. She's saying she didn't like it. Why are you being anonymous then?
I don't know because I'm fine. I'm a coward. I don't know. No, no, no, no, no. Listen, it isn't that there's not. This is very interesting to me. I'll tell you why. The reason it's interesting to me is because this is my opinion. Our culture has told us that if we find certain things wrong, we're bigots or there's something up with us. We're messed up. We're weird. We're the outcasts. When I'm saying the stuff I'm saying, I know what a lot of people are thinking. To the detriment of me, by the way. I realize that as I say it, I am exactly what Thelma said, weird. To the detriment of myself. To the point where she's calling in, she doesn't even want to say who she is. When I say I'm okay with it, then I'm wrong. And a lot of people look at me and judge me. So it's the same way, man. I think our culture... Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hang on a second. I'm pointing out a fact. I'm not saying that I believe that I'm not going. Let me tell you what I'm not doing. Whoa is me. Oh, poor Mike. I can't believe it. Everybody's just against me. I'm not saying that. I know that the deal is, is that where I stand in my convictions don't look right. It looks weird to the general public. It looks weird. In our culture, it looks weird. I think our society right now.
is split 50-50 on a lot of major issues. Elections will show you this, and I think this is one of those issues where 50% of the people are with Mike and 50% of the people are with Eddie. So 50% are looking at you, Weird, and the other 50% are looking at Eddie, Weird. For real? Absolutely. Hang on, hang on. Honestly, when you said it, I was like, wow, I wonder if that's the deal. To me, that's the way I see it. Yeah, I mean, just look at the way people vote. Yeah. Voting Prop 8. That was a huge eye-opener for me. I was like, wow, a lot of people believe a certain way and other people don't. I wonder about it. And specifically with the Prop 8. I wonder if it's because you rally the churches together and they all go vote and that's why it passes. That's still 50%, though. More than 50. It won. I just wonder if that's... the way that we think. Maybe it is. I think so. I think you look at the red states, blue states, that kind of thing, and you can see it's a very divided country on these type of issues. You get that because of the crowds you might run in, or not necessarily the crowds you run in, but the people that you're in contact with every day, you almost hear all their thoughts, so you're not seeing the other side of things. You know what I mean? So sometimes that can cloud it.
Hey, P1 Thelma. Yes, sir. Do you have a boyfriend now? I do. Does he look at stuff? Well, we've only been two months together and I don't go through his phone. And if he does, he does. And it doesn't mean that he doesn't love me any less. It just means that, you know, like I have like a half naked fireman poster and he doesn't like trip on it. I don't know. It's just it's different. I honestly think. that everybody has their moral line and it's their moral judgment line. And that's where, you know, it is what it is. It's everybody's opinion. Yeah. And like Mike said, you can't be, you know, shaking your finger at somebody else. You can only be accountable for yourself. Your line is your line. It has to be whatever you feel. Absolutely. It has to be whatever you feel. I have a question. So do you think that just because it bothers me that like you aren't confident in yourself or in your relationship? I do because of your weak, shivery voice. I mean... Thelma is something else, man. Why are you bringing a gun to a knife? Without the slapping over the face. Without the slapping over the face, Thelma, explain why you think that she's weak. Well, her voice is very like, well, do you like...
You should be, if you don't like it, be convicted in that. And Stanford, you know, say, it doesn't make me feel comfortable when you do this. And back it. Thelma, you realize that neither one of you guys are wrong. Thelma, you realize that neither one of you guys are wrong. It's your opinion that you're cool with it, and it's her opinion that she's not cool with it. Yeah, totally. I don't understand the women are okay with it. Hang on a minute. That's not, I respectfully disagree with that. I think that each side. feels that the other is wrong. I think Thelma thinks that she's wrong for getting so freaked out about it. And I think that P1 Anonymous thinks that she's wrong for going there. So I think that we believe in our stance. I mean, Eddie, I think that you got to think I'm wrong and I got to think that you're wrong. We'd be doing it differently, you know? No, I don't. I don't think what you believe is wrong. It's your beliefs. Exactly. I believe what I do is fine for me. Okay, wait a minute. I don't care what you do, Mike. But don't you go, And I may be wrong about this, but don't you go, it's no big whoop. You shouldn't be freaking about it. For me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For you, absolutely. I know how you are. Okay. So, yeah, I totally understand that. I believe whatever I do is right for me. Whatever you do is right for you. Right. And I don't have no right to tell you what to do and how to live your life. Thelma. That's how I believe. Thelma. Yes. You thought that it was wrong, I thought, that she was being so weak about it.
The way she asked it, she's like, well, so am I wrong and weak? You're not wrong. It's just, I don't think I said that. There's a reason why. Well, your voice was so shivery we couldn't go. Anonymous. I'm nervous. You're doing awesome. Tell us why, Anonymous. Tell us why. Oh, I feel like a bee now. Well, you're wrong. Tell her you're sorry that you were mean. I'm sorry I was mean today. There you go. We're all friends. I picture Anonymous dialing the phone with brass knuckles on it. And she is thumping. I don't think she calls enough. Yeah, right? Well, first of all, she's changed her name back to... How many times? How many times? Changed her name back to Thelma, right? What was it before? It was always Thelma. Seth wrote it wrong. Skye, what did she used to go by on the air? It started with an A. Oh, yeah. Athena. Athena. Yeah, we know you, Athena. Oh, yes, it was. Oh, yes, it was. You brute. You brute. You have a voice and attitude twin out there. Yes, we would never, ever, ever confuse you for somebody else. Trust us.
That's so funny. Oh, that's because my name's Thelma now. You know what? Uh-oh. Oh, no. I won. Don't hurt us. Three scene tickets, and I went in there, showed my ID. It was Thelma, so in your face. All right. So, Athena was your dancing name. Your dancing. No, no. Thank you. Hey, Anonymous, I think you did a great job. I think you were fine. I think you're a good person. Yeah. Hey, Anonymous, do you have a boyfriend? Yes, I do. And what about him? Does he look at any whoop? No big whoop? No. No, and I actually believe him. Like, before, I dated a guy for about two years, and it was a huge problem. And it was finally, I was like, you know what? Like, I can't do this because you tell me, like, oh, no, I don't need it. I'm not going to look at it. And I think it's because I felt like it interfered with our physical life. Yeah. Physical part of the relationship. And I don't understand. And that's different from, like, what I was saying I would be okay with. Because, of course, that seems like it would be a problem. Absolutely. It's your own line. I don't get where you draw the line with that. I don't understand. Well, maybe some people, like, some people, like, Sky, you say you don't care if your husband looks at Playboy and stuff like that. And, like, maybe if, like...
Yeah, if my husband were to prefer looking at Playboy than looking at this right here, then we'd have a problem. Let me give an example, like, of something, like, real fast. Like, okay, so I would be downstairs, say, at his house or something late at night, because we both worked in the same place, and just say he got off earlier than I did, or I would get off later. So I would come home and be like, oh, that's weird, where is he? Go upstairs, his door was locked. oh, that's weird. Right. You know, and like, I'm like, what? You knew I was coming home. Like, you knew, I mean, we weren't living together, but you were the freak then, and like. No, wait, wait. So, Thelma, that, okay, locked door, freak. That's Thelma's lock. Lock door, freak. Yes, locked door. Yeah, what about in the car, in the garage? Is that, is that? That's kind of sexy. Why do you guys think that's okay? Like, I just think that is so weird. Wait, okay, wait, wait, wait, wait. Thelma? Thelma? Thelma, question. Yes, love? Locked door is weird, right? A little, yeah. Okay, what about in the car, in the garage?
Mike, why are you doing this? I'm asking you questions, bro. This is your arch enemy. This is your arch enemy. I am asking you questions, bro. You cannot. What about at your cousin's house? I love it. I love it so much. Seconds, please. Don't you think that there's a problem there? Like, don't you think like this? Yeah, but only if the door's locked. Yeah. Doors locked equals wrong. was the end of our relationship. I was like, okay, I'm done. Like, are you kidding me? I don't blame you. That sounds like you made the right decision. Hey, Thelma, Thelma, what about the closet? There's not a lock on the door. A slider? Slider. That's fine. That's fine. Okay, that's fine. As long as there's access. What about Greg Brady Attic? Ooh, they're getting a little weird there. Weird. Beads to walk through the door? No, I don't like that. Weird. Weird. Okay, Annie. Whoa, what the hell?

Hit it. You've been robbed. No, not that. Yes. Hit that again. Don't hit that. Keep hitting it. Silly stuff. You got robbed. Okay. You've been robbed. You've been robbed. You're going to get arrested. What? Maybe. I actually don't know what that is. None of us do. Alex B. Keaton Jenga. Welcome back. Stop it. Welcome back to the show, Eberbaba. Hi. Hi. Would you rather be known as the town coward or the town fool? Ah. Rob's both. I'm making a note. Oh, wow. And my best friend in the world. I didn't mean it. I just use you for laughs, bro. I didn't mean it. You're just a pro. You are not the town coward.
Mike, don't say that. He only corrected one part, bro. I'll accept it. Oh, boy. Would you rather tell somebody famous that their fly is open or have someone famous tell you your fly is open? Oh, other way around. No, someone famous tell me. No way, dude. Someone famous tell me. That's humiliating. I don't want to tell them. Can you imagine saying to Dave Grohl, I would do it. He'd probably think he'd be like, thanks, dude. He'd be embarrassed. What about with Craig Gass? No one would tell him and I had to go tell him. That was just funny. I'm like, you guys are going to let him go on stage? Absolutely. Speaking of Craig Gass. Poor guy. Craig Gas Theater later this week. Yes! He's not even performing. He's in LA. He's doing auditions. I wonder if I could tell you what he's doing yesterday in LA. Yeah, sure. Maybe I just should and have him get mad at me later. Yeah, dude. It's okay. You didn't know. I'll just say I didn't know. Yeah, you didn't know. I'll just say I didn't know. Who knew? And he's giving me that look like, Mike. Why'd he do this? I don't know.
Because it's good. What's the problem? He may have a problem with it. Your friend, Craig Gass, may have a problem with it. Call Craig and ask him if I can tell. You're such a spoil sport. It's not right. It's not right. You're raining on our parade. I bet he'll think it's fine. Town gossip. Oh, yeah. Town coward. Yeah, he's in L.A. Town floozy. You turkey. Is the door locked? Shut up. How long is it not official? Okay. It's really, when I tell you what he did, you're going to be like, that is a trip. But the thing is, voicemail? All right, I'll tell you. Apparently, Pacino did some movie, and they want to put it on TV. So they want Pacino to go in and record clean words over the curse words, and Pacino said no. So they're going to hire Craig. That is awesome. How cool is that?
That's really cool. That's perfect. Yeah. So he was actually, he had to go and he had to meet with them and he had to sit in front of them and have him do it. Yeah, exactly. He had to sit there and do it for them to be like, okay, or flibber it. Okay or no. Okay. Yes. Flib you. That's rad. Yeah. Would you rather skydive without a lesson or scuba dive without a lesson? Scuba. Dude, if you mess it up, you drown. You mess the other one up, you fall to your death. You know what? I choose skydive. I'll tell you why. How hard can it be? Skydive because if it goes wrong, you don't feel it. Oh, really? That's it. It's actual audio. You've been skydiving. How hard is it? They strap you in, you pull a cord, and you're done, right? Yeah. I'd do that. Is it really that easy? Yeah, it is. That was me right there. Don't they do a lot of teaching you how to land so you don't break your legs? I'll figure it out. I'm smart. You know what, Sky? They did that with me, and I still just ate my landing. But isn't the spirit... Hey, listen. Wait, sprained your ankle? Well, I hurt my ankle a lot. Spirit of the question is, you have to presume one of them goes wrong.
So which would you rather? Yeah. If you had to? Skydiving or scuba diving? Big wet hug, buddy. Skydiving, for sure. Dude, if you, it's going to take a while. And it's going to take a while. Well, there's no guarantee you're going to die. Drowning? No, skydiving. Yeah, remember that chick? That chick that ate it and broke her face and turned out she was pregnant at the time and had the baby and the baby was fine. She was all good. Did we talk about that on the Mikey show? Yeah, we did. But her face was like broken up. She like lost almost all her teeth. I mean, like this story to me is fascinating. It's like I never heard it. I'm like, really? A chick jumped out of an airplane? Dude. Yeah, she didn't know she was pregnant. She was like, you know, a few weeks pregnant, had no idea. Are we talking like 30? 13,000 feet. She was skydiving. And she fell all the way from 13,000 feet, hit the ground, lived. Yeah. Are you sure her chute didn't half open? Yeah, it was something like that. That means that it was like, you know, that's not the spirit of the question. The spirit of the question is your chute fails or your tanks fail. Well, no, it's not your chute fails. It's saying you never had a lesson. Yeah, but aren't we supposed to go with something goes wrong?
Wouldn't you rather have something? Okay, so you choose. Which would you rather go wrong? And you know that you're going to die? Well, you know it's going to be bad. And that's the thing. I don't want to hit that ground and have to try to live after that. I don't want a killer whale to eat me. That's assuming there's always a killer whale. That means there's always a killer whale. And he just threw his headphones off. You're safe now. You're not safe. Why are you safe? I'm still playing. That's terrible. It's an awful sound. That was a calf. We found that out yesterday. Baby whale's a calf. When I won. Shut up. You've been robbed. President Bush said in an interview that, well, I'll let him do the talking. Let's see. Cut five. Was the election in any way a repudiation of the Bush administration? I think it was a repudiation of Republicans. And I'm sure some people voted for Barack Obama because of me. I think most people voted for Barack Obama because they decided they wanted him to be in their living room for the next four years explaining policy. In other words, they made a conscious choice to put him in as president. That's an interesting thing to say.
Well, I mean, I think he's right. There's people that didn't think so and people that did. Right? I guess. I guess. It's just interesting to hear him admit it. Admit it. Come right out and say it. Right. He's basically admitting that he messed it up, kind of, right? Yeah. And that's why they voted for Barack. That's surprising. Mikey Show. What's up, all you party people? Yeah! Hey, President Bush. It's W in the house. Got one time. What's going on, President Bush? Hey, what's up, Mikey? Oh, not too much. I heard you playing back my fantastic interview. Yes, we were. Rocking that joint. Well, we thought it was a little interesting. Yeah, I was. I'm always interesting. No, but more than that, we thought it was kind of interesting that you were actually, like, admitting to the fact that...
Maybe they voted for Brock because they didn't like you, you know. Hold up. Wait a minute. The whole thing has been taken out of context. Really? Okay. What I meant was that if I could run again, he wouldn't have won. You're saying if you could run again, then he would not have won. That's not true. You can't run again. You can't. Listen, I was trying to say people voted for Obama because he's a black dude. Wait, that's what you were trying to say? Here's the story. Someone at the Lincoln Urinal told me that he used to play Urkel. Did you guys see that? That's not true. Someone at the Lincoln Urinal. It's the Lincoln Memorial. You thought that was a urinal? Oh, I must have misread. Yeah. I'm trying to be honest. So you're saying that somebody at the Lincoln urinal. Eddie really finds that one. That one got red. That was our friend Eddie. Someone at the Lincoln urinal told you that he was Urkel. Urkel, yeah.
He's not. No. He's not. It's a lie. He's not. I'm so lost. Yeah. Well, we're welcome, Obama. I told all my friends to vote for you. You did not. Why would you do that? I even wrote it on my MySpace page. I think I pushed it over the edge. I mean, the guy's such a dynamic speaker. I mean, I couldn't help it. It's true. It's true. He is. He's very dynamic. I mean, he's so well-spoken. He's nice on the eyes. That's right. It's true. He's a beautiful package. That's true. He is. I love his slogan. Yes, we can. I love that motto. You know, it's what I live by now. I mean, free from Disneyland. Yes, we can. I don't know that. Free Taco Bell for everyone on Sundays. Yes, we can. I'm with it. You're the rock hero for Christmas. Say it with me. Yes, we can. Yes, we can. I love you, Obama. Thank you. Thank you. That's precedent.
George W. Bush. He's my favorite. Am I done? Yes, President Bush. Is that my wrap-up? I got more jokes. Forget it. Peace out. Peace out. That's President Bush calling him. Look at that. Honest Abe line. He's got funny. I wish you were here for that. Why are you standing over there? Why are you standing over there? Why are you standing over there? He just does that on occasion. I've lost my straw. That's weird. Really weird. Oh, good. That's good. Found it. That's good. I'm glad you found it. I was concerned. Hey, Sky has new releases, you guys. Dude, stepbrothers, talk about it. Are you for real? That look on her face is real right now. That was not... I'm real excited, Mike. Let's do this. Let's do this. Ashley, what's up? Yeah.
Eddie, that's the seventh week in a row that you've bursted Skye's bubble. Dude, how excited is Sean going to be that X-Files comes out today? It's really messed up, Eddie. It's doubly messed up, bro. Dude, that is awesome. Wait until Skye tells you. Sarissa told me Britney's got a new album, but we'll wait for you. That's messed up. I honestly didn't know that. Now you're getting into CDs. I honestly didn't know that. I honestly didn't know that. That's exciting. Skye, what do you got? Go. Now you go. You've been robbed. You've been robbed. Literally. Literally. You were robbed, Skye. I'm with you, Skye. So, new video games out today. We got Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories for the PS2. I still make games for the PS2. I know. It's weird. I don't know. That's all I got, man. Oh, sorry. We have Destroy All Humans for Xbox 360. What about Atari? They got anything? They got Punktoon too. We have Fitness Coach for the Wii. Or MyFitnessCoach.
I can't even work on a computer. Thank you. Jumping jacks. Do some push-ups. Get off the couch. If you need motivation, go to MikeyShow.com circa 1992 pictures. It's inspirational, okay? It's like looking at a picture version of The Biggest Loser. Except much fatter. We have Banjo Koozie for Xbox 360. Oh, good. Prince of Persia, PS3, Xbox 360. That's what they used to call me when I wrestled. Family Party, 30 Great Games for the Wii. Mushroom Men, The Spore Wars for Wii. Sing Star ABBA for PS2 and PS3. Mike, shut up. I knew somebody. I knew it. It's not all I do is sit around listening to ABBA. You sing it. You sing it. And then we have Eminem's adventures for the Wii and PS2. Like 8 Mile Eminem? No, like the candies. Go on his adventures. Yeah. It'd be much more fun to play. Butter guns. You play butter guns. I lose.
All right, new music out today. As Rob mentioned, yes, Britney Spears. It's her birthday today. So what better way to release a new album called Circus? Where's the songs? Front page, dark purple. Oh, front page. Oh, man. Is this the only single from that album? Yes, that's the first single. She hasn't put anything else on the radio from that album? Well, normally you put out a single, then you drop the CD, and then you can drop more singles. I had no idea that's who I was, honestly. They don't know more songs from her? There will be more, Mike. It seems like this was 100 years ago this song came out. No, not. I've been bumping it with my 20s for a long time. Your 20s? My 40s? Tell you what, in the documentary it was promoting her next single, which is going to be Circus, and it's money, dude. You guys, leave them alone. Leave Michael alone. That's either my rims or my... Either my rims... It's your rims. It's my rims or the...
Speaker size, right? No, I don't think it's just speakers. Speaker size like that. About my 20s. All right. Okay. All right. Also with a new album. It's being an RV. Today. Akon with freedom. Oh, it's a jam. Acorn. Bring it up. This song is just it. I know every word to this song. Yeah. No, no, guys. Go. I don't do that. Now you go. Now you go. I know, Mom, too. Hustle on high. I like that. I think that sounds like everything else he does. No, dude. I think it's real. I don't think a lot of singers sound like that. It's very different. I love that song. I love that song. All right. The soundtrack to the movie Cadillac Records comes out today. Yeah. This is Lisa Keys. Oh, is this that last Etta James? She redid it? Lisa Keys, Mike.
Yeah, the movie is about the start of this blues label and all the artists there. And Beyonce plays Etta James. That's good. That's awesome. I want to see this. This is from Glitter 2. Oh, man. Hey, listen, I'm mad enough to say I will download this today. Oh, dude, absolutely. That's good. Download me a copy. I got that download stuff. That's good music right there. What else is on there? Other soulful stuff like that? I don't have a track list, but let me see. I'm black and I'm proud. Stuffed by Moss Def. That's a dude that 7-Eleven needs to hang out with. That's a 7-Eleven. Right? What is going on, Eddie? I won't. Moss Def. Moss Def. Like Moss on the tree. Like Randy Moss. Randy Moss. Randy Moss. I like Mos Def, too. Mos Def. Now, I've heard of him. She said it was Randy Moss Def. She did. Mos Def is really interesting. Randy Moss Def? What? Mos Def, I don't know. You guys don't care. All right, fine. One more time. That's good right there. I like to listen to it and be like, I like this music, and so that makes me cool and kind of black.
There's only one black person on this show. Ashley. But I appreciate people who at least want to feel it. With your culture. You know, yeah. We should have always from the very beginning said that Ashley was black. And then when people meet her, they'd be like, I thought you guys were like, yeah, like we. She is. Like, we never acknowledge. We should have done that. I know. Anyway. We still can. We still can. Ashley's black. Yeah. It's true. All right. And the final CD out there today for all you big Neil Young fans, we have Sugar Mountain Live at Canterbury House 1968. I get him now. I used to not get it. But I have to say, though, I also have urges to wear my jeans. past my belly button. With a belt. Tucked in. I get Neil Young now. I used to listen to Neil Young and go, oh, what is that all about? I don't scale. I used to listen and be like, this chick kind of sucks. Okay, that's it for music.
New DVDs out today. What do you got? What's coming out, Sky? Talk about it. Well, like Eddie said, Step Brothers out today with Cheryl Johnson. What a drink it. Oh, yeah. Also out, we have The X-Files, I Want to Believe. Here's David Duchovny talking about revisiting the character, cut 26. In terms of getting back into the character, it really was, when I started working with Jillian, was... This isn't inside the actor's studio. Explore the character. It's the X-Files, dude. Dude, you're Fox Mulder. Okay. All right. This is not a dramatic role. Looking for aliens, bro. All right. Also out today, we have Wanted, Angelina Jolie. Oh, yeah, dude. That was awesome. Did anybody here see it besides Sean? Because I can't just take Sean's word for it. No, but I got it. I can't. You can take my word for it, dude. Did you see it? I've not seen it, but I will watch it.
You will love it, dude. You can take my word for it. No, I don't want to watch it. Well, you know what you're going to get. You can take it to the bank, friend. You can't take it to the bank. Take it to the bank and cash it. And they will give you money on the spot. That money is no good there. It's like monopoly money if you take it to the bank. That's not true. This is legal tender in nine countries plus the U.S. No countries, and the U.S. is not included. It's like one of those oversized checks you win on a game show. It might be oversized, but it's worth its weight in gold, Mike. It's not worth its weight in anything, and it's worth zero and nothing. Bulls gold. All right, also on DVD, we have The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian. It's a big day. Yeah, lots of DVDs out today. Christmas time, huh? Those movies are Disney movies in case you think it's like a real war flick. It's not. I saw the first one in the theater. You mean the talking lion in the commercial? I thought he was going to be running around biting people's heads off and stuff.
And then I get in the theater and there's like 608-year-olds. I'm like, what am I doing? You didn't. He did. I remember when the first one came out, he was so excited and he went. I mean, what was this guy thinking over here? It's a kid book for crying out loud. You know what I mean? It was a hard read. All right. Also out today, we have The Long Shots. That's where Ice Cube plays a Pop Warner coach and recruits his niece to be the quarterback. You want to know who directed that movie? Who? Want to take a guess? I know who it is. Sure. No. Close, though. Melissa Tomei. No. Melissa Tomei. Melissa Gilbert. Melissa Etheridge. You ready for this? Who? Oh. That's right. Brett Durst directed that family-friendly kids movie, Long Shots. With a gangster rapper as a star. Yeah. Wow. I want to know how that happened. I can tell you how it happened. How? He wants to be a director. Yeah. And so he wasn't being taken seriously. Right. And so he was basically willing to direct anything to show that he can direct. And so he took that movie on and showed that, hey, look, I'm a director. I can direct anything. And so that's how he did it. I wonder if anybody bought it and went, all right, fine. We like it. You're right. We'll give you a job. I bet you they do.
Really? I mean, it wasn't a hit or anything like that, but it showed he can do a major motion picture. Same thing had to happen with Rob Zombie. I mean, dude was a musician, so somebody at some point had to go, hey, dude, just because you wear makeup doesn't make you scary. And so somebody had to go, okay, we'll give you a shot. New movies to Blu-ray. We have the Austin Powers collection, the shagadelic edition. Oh, wow. Yeah. We also have The Day the Earth Stood Still, the 1951 version. You know, getting ready for that. I know that this is not going to be a popular statement. New movie. I think it looks dumb. The new movie. I think it looks dumb. Yeah. I think Keanu Reeves. Dude, I'm telling you. And I think that the special effects look overboard. Well, yeah, like that scene of that giant silver surfer coming out. Saw that in Fantastic Four, bro. Yeah, we got it. Seriously, like when the semi-truck disintegrates, I'm like, oh, that looks so awesome. That's a really great cartoon. It is. It looks like a cartoon. Also out on blue. And the guy says to Keanu Reeves, this is our planet. No, it is not.
Chills. Dumb chills. I got the dumb chills. Also on Blu-ray, we have the Shawshank Redemption Special Edition. I'd get it. TV stuff to DVD. We have Elite XC Lawler vs. Smith 2. Last time you were going to see that. No more Elite XC. Law & Order, the sixth year. Sean Perry Mason, the third season. Pride, Bushudo. Oh, I love it. Wrapped in melon. You wrap it around melon and put a toothpick in it. It's so good. Saturday Night Live, the complete fourth season. John Travolta is great in that movie. He's walking down the street and he starts doing the dance moves and the whole thing. Why don't you sing the song that he sings from that movie? He doesn't sing it. Staying alive. You're welcome, everyone. That's just hysterical. All right, dude. All right. And then finally... Oh, that really hurt. Alvin! And then finally we have UFC 87 Seek and Destroy. Enjoy. Yeah. That is it. Yes. I think I want a shaver that you can use in the shower this year.
An electric one that you can put it, charge it, put it and use it in the shower. Oh, you're going to hate it. Thoughts on that. I'm going to hate it? Yeah. You just talked me out of it. And I based that on nothing. I wasn't sure. But I know that you will hate it. I agree. You'll use it once and you'll hate it. You'll use it once and go, no. Yeah. I believe Sky. Get it. I call dibs. Earlier, a movie came up and I asked Eddie if I have that movie. You are a gem. You don't think I'll like it? No. Why? It's not going to give you the shave you desire. Really? Darn it. I want one. I think it'll be great. You're ridiculous. Well, I think it'll be easier than having to put the lather and, you know, it's like shaving is such a bore. It just takes so much out of me. Maybe Rob will create you a normal razor. That like plays music or something. Is she okay? Is that what she was doing? Oh my goodness. I had no idea. What's your problem? Everyone's just staring at her. Eddie, they're going to need to stand up. Eddie's looking at her right now with his hands up like, what is the matter? What's you doing in there?
I thought something just seriously happened to her. You were going to call 911? Yeah. You guys are okay. Like you went into fight or flight mode? Oh my gosh. My friend. Put an eraser in her mouth so she doesn't bite her tongue. I thought Mari Payton was going to run in here. I covered this for the news. That's Mari Payton. Local DJ. Local DJ. Do you rather have a see-through nose or entirely white eyeballs? Oh, both would be awesome. Dude, I'm going with the eyeballs, though. I would freak people out. That is awesome. You would have to wear shades. No way. Well, I would, and then I'd whip them off and be like, what's up, buddy? What's up? Sky, what about you? What? The see-through nose or white eyes? Mm-hmm. White eyes. Yeah, I don't want to. What if you had to not, you can't wear glasses? So people either have to see your white, all white eyeballs. She used to have all red eyeballs. Yeah. True. That is very true. That is a fact. I just got that. That is very true. Thank you. If you had to over the next year, Skye, be pine scented or smell like new car.
Which would you choose? Oh, now I have a headache. Go green. See, this creates a lot of problems, Mike. Why? My husband's sensitive to smell. My work husband's sensitive to smell. No one would be able to be around me because I'd give everyone a headache. Are you doing it? He barely said it. That's different. He completely said it. He only half said it. You could tell there was not enough gusto in it to matter. Like, are we talking pine? Like the one hanging in the car from the rearview mirror. So not like a natural pine tree. Are we talking Douglas fir or are we talking... Oh, my. Those holiday trees smell nice. Get out of here with that. Chevy or Toyota. Yes. I guess new car. I don't know. That's strong, man. Stop it, Mike. Wrong. I can't be around you. You're so dumb. Eddie, would you rather have to change your name every five years or move every six months? Oh, easy. Yeah, easy. It is not easy. It is. Think about it. I did. I just did. I did. I hate moving.
It's the worst, Eddie. You just did it. You know how much it sucks. Can't do it. I have to change my name every... That'd be cool. Only five years. You have to move every six months, bro. I would have to change all my periodicals. You're so dumb. But you'd have to change your address on all your periodicals. Great point. Even more often. Like, you know, the Wall Street Journal. All those things you read. The Onion. How dare you. That's a good one. This one's impossible. Think of what's involved. Would you rather have the government change your zip code every year or your area code every year? Think of what's involved for both. There's a lot of contacting of people. Oh, I hate it. Sky, you're in charge of correspondence. I know. That's the problem, bro. And you feel very strongly about area codes. And change in general. Eddie, you answer this one. I don't know that I can.
equally retarded. They're bad. They're going to hurt either way. Zip code? I always get those two confused. The zip is which one? I just get them confused. Look at him ask that question and then look at his hair as he's asking. It's funny. I used to have this problem when I was like eight. I didn't know which one was which. I can navigate a circle, miss. I can too. With a map. And a compass. Maybe. And a co-pilot. GPS. 570. Tom Tom help. Circle Tom Tom quickly. 5701053. Oh. I just read that and realized I have to do that don't I? Yeah. Oh. Way to go Mike. Tomorrow. Well today I have to bake a turkey. Oh yeah.
And then tomorrow, we're all going to make turkey sandwiches, our version, and make everybody taste it. I don't want to do this. It's hideous. Because we do not like stuff. I'm excited. What? I'll eat all of them. I don't give a rip. They all sound delicious. She does not care, dude. She is a feral cat. I'll eat all of them. They all sound unique and good. Listen, this is one thing I can say about Ash. That chick... When it comes to food, she's fearless. She don't care, man. Do you eat, like, different kinds of ethnic foods? Yeah. Do you? Yeah. When I went to that charity event, I'm telling you, I tried Indian food, Central American food. I tried French food. Did you like it? I tried, like, all these variations. Foods from all around the country. All around the world. All right? What's Central American food? Yeah, like, what Central American country, Ash? Where is it? I ate. Mississippi. Yes. Canada. It was some form of, you know, meat with a sauce on it. I think it seemed a little bit Mexican, but it wasn't. It was Central American. But it was like some kind of like dark meat. You know, like Oscar De La Hoya. Like a sopa type of thing, you know. It was good. Let's see. Okay, so tomorrow we're going to do that. Tomorrow we're going to eat. Turkey. It's going to be gross. Our leftover sandwiches. I don't want to.
I can't wait. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, real quick. I don't know if you caught it during the video segment, the new video game segment, but Sky said Banjo Koozie instead of Banjo Kazooie. She did say Koozie, and I don't know what it is. I don't either. So it's not Koozie? It is. It's a game where you put your drink in it and it stays cold. When you said it, I thought of a koozie. Yeah. That's how you play, Mike. Why can't you spell things out? Sir, what is it called? Sir. Are you sure it's Banjo-Kazooie? Is it Kazooie? I don't know. Isn't that the crazy-looking cartoon character, Banjo-Kazooie? I don't know, bro. I don't know. I can't talk to you right now. She said koozie. I'm pretty sure it's Banjo-Kazooie. I'm pretty sure you're a jerk. I bet he's right. He's not helping. He is helping. Hall of Famer P1 Quimbyism. He's hurting. I'm here with your NKOTB concert report. When was that? That was last Tuesday night. A week ago. Sick. Donnie must have tore it up.
Oh, I made eye contact with Donnie. It was so beautiful. Who hasn't? Yeah, Quimby said that her and Donnie had a moment. Ooh, you're lucky. It's weird. I'm so in love with him. Really weird. He's still hot. But let me just tell you, first off, Boston Rob would have loved this concert. It was a celebration of Boston. There you go. Why? Yeah, why? Because they're from there, right? They came out in all white with Celtics jerseys on, and then they had this whole video segment dedicated to all the teams in Boston. Now, Rob, YouTube it. Oh, okay. So stupid. Quimby, thank you. Who are they playing that to? We appreciate it, Quimby. Hey, love ya. Wouldn't that make sense in Boston? Yeah, they got to do it on tour. Yeah, wouldn't Rob's throat tattoo make sense in Boston? Oh, yeah, good point. Guess who's on the line? Who we got? P-1-A-L. What's up, dude? Oh, man, you know, out here working, got my stunning shades on, trying to be cooler than the other side of the pillow. Nice, nice. Listen, check this out. Eddie, I need to holler at you right quick, my brother. What's up? Mortal Kombat versus DC Universe. Holler at me, homie. Dude, I'm waiting for Zep to steal me a copy, bro. Are you serious, man? You haven't played it yet? I haven't got it yet. Not till Christmas, man. Come on. What do you mean till Christmas? I asked for it for Christmas. Come on, even Santa Claus let him open up a gift before Christmas. Did you get it, Ayo? Man, you know I got it. Is it good?
Man, that thing is off the chain. Eddie, you will love the characters on it. Yeah. So what about the argument that Superman, you know, who could be Superman? Hold on a second. I'm getting the police pulled right behind me right now. Are you really? Are you on a Bluetooth? Are you on a Bluetooth or are you talking up to your ear? Man, I'm parked on the side of the street with the engine off. Hold on a second. Hold on. Gunning. Get out of there. Racial profiling. Oh, no. Let's hear it. Hold on. Let's hear it. Put the phone on. Hold on a second. Let's hear it. Put the phone on your lap. Hold on. How you doing? I don't know. I was just talking on the phone for the Mikey Show. Okay, hold on one second, please. There you go. What did he do? I want that black man. He was missing black. That's what he did wrong. Well, I'm just talking on the phone. We were talking about, you ever heard of the Mikey Show? You were talking about Mortal Kombat and DC Universe video games? Yeah, right. I'm Trump. Maybe he's a P1. I'll talk to him, Ayo. Put him on the phone. He said he'll talk to you. I gotta hang up the phone. I'll holler at you. That ain't right, man. Dude, what's up? We gotta know somebody on the 5-0. Come on, Popo. Go help him out. Yeah, get on the horn. Talk to your fella. Tell him that that's our guy. That is weak. That is whack. I wonder what he was doing.
Sitting there, man. He probably just looks suspicious sitting on the side of the road. A brother can't sit there? Well, it depends. Is he on the side of the freeway? What's going on? Yeah. Just saying. Am I not allowed in a restaurant either? He parked in a bank lobby. He didn't mention that. That's weak, man. That was wild. I can't wait to find out what that's about. I ain't playing this. No, you ain't, Eddie. No, you ain't. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hey, you guys. It's Cameron Penguin. Hey, Cameron. What's up? Hi. I was actually wondering if there's any way possible I can plug a charity event that's coming up. Yeah. Open phones. Go ahead. Awesome. Well, it's the Feral Cat Coalition, and what they do is they say... You helping out Ashley? Leave Penguin alone. It's actually not for Ashley. This is real. This is real. Yeah, it's for real. Yeah? They spay and neuter cats all over San Diego. They do it once a month all over San Diego for free. And they're going to be doing the El Cajon Pet Smart off of Jackman, I think it is. Jackson? I think it's Jackman. Okay. But they're going to be doing pet photos with Santa. Like huge Jackman. Right, Mike. Right. I hope not. Got it. But they're going to do pet photos with Santa. Take your pets down and have a photo with Santa. And all the money goes to the S&C. That's very nice, Penguin.
That's great. Thanks. Thank you, guys. I love you guys. Appreciate it, Penguin. Bye. Missy is up next. Today on the show, she has a little all-request lunch for the Nooner. It's going to be awesome. So call in and request stuff, and we'll see you back here tomorrow morning at 5.30. Thank you.
