Eddie turned an embarrassing In-N-Out milkshake spill into a story when the entire restaurant applauded, while the cast's turkey roulette later forced everyone to eat and judge someone else's peculiar Thanksgiving sandwich. Mikey argued that Christmas celebrates Jesus's birth symbolically rather than establishing December 25 as a known date, while Sky warned that teaching the date as literal can feel deceptive. Vegan caller Joanna's empty-plate Thanksgiving split the room: Sky blamed a broken promise and an unsupportive husband, while Mikey and several callers argued that the family misunderstood vegan rules and Joanna should have brought food. Sean's invisible, Japanese-language American Ninja presentation bombed, but Eddie's Valkyrie review and Valerie Bertinelli's sharp accountability exchange with William Shatner gave the show more substantive discussion. The crew also covered Brad Pitt's attack on intrusive paparazzi, the apparent concealment of Plaxico Burris's gunshot treatment, and Sky's nervous preparation to interview Maynard James Keenan.
What happened, in order
The Applauded Milkshake Spill
Eddie smashed his elbow into an In-N-Out door, sent his chocolate shake flying in front of a packed restaurant, endured applause from the crowd, and went back for a free replacement.
Turkey Roulette
Mikey, Eddie, Sky, Boston Rob, Ashley, and Zeth built wildly different leftover-turkey sandwiches, drew names at random, and reluctantly tasted and judged one another's creations.
When Was Jesus Born?
Mikey argued that December 25 is a symbolic celebration and the event matters more than the date, while Sky said presenting it as Jesus's literal birthday can make people feel deceived.
The Demon Meat Thanksgiving
Newlywed vegan Joanna said her husband's family promised suitable Thanksgiving food but left her with an empty plate and mocked her, prompting a fierce argument over accommodation, ignorance, personal responsibility, and
American Ninja Without Pictures
Sean revived his repeatedly criticized TV segment with Japanese-language American Ninja audio that nobody else could see or understand, and the disastrous demonstration was declared the end of Sean TV.
Valkyrie Early Review
Eddie reviewed an advance screening of Valkyrie, praised the true story of German officers repeatedly trying to kill Hitler, and found the mostly non-German accents distracting.
Valerie Analyzes Shatner
On William Shatner's Raw Nerve, Valerie Bertinelli rejected excuses for her adultery, tied forgiveness to accountability, and then challenged Shatner to explain why he holds on to anger and victimhood.
How Craig Gass Walked In
Mikey recalled Craig Gass boldly wandering into the studio uninvited to offer his impressions, an awkward but vulnerable introduction that grew into a close friendship and the recurring Craig Gass Theater bit.
Brad Pitt Versus Paparazzi
Brad Pitt condemned paparazzi who trespass, wear camouflage, and shout his children's names, then said he and Angelina Jolie would marry if doing so became important to their kids.
The Ham-Flavored Fork
The show played an Onion report about a fork that adds ham flavor to every bite, giving the cast a perfect excuse to tease Sky about her notorious love of ham.
The Plaxico Cover-Up
Eddie reported that the doctor who treated Plaxico Burris's self-inflicted gunshot wound was suspended after failing to notify police and recording Burris under a false name, which fueled speculation about a deliberate c
Sky Prepares for Maynard
Sky prepared to interview Tool singer and winemaker Maynard James Keenan, admitted his rare and intimidating interviews made her nervous, and was mercilessly coached with terrible fake questions by the crew.

The son of former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez has been arrested on murder and assault charges for the stabbing death that happened outside SDSU back in October. The Giants fine and suspend Plaxico Burris for the rest of the season. The team placed him on injured reserve as well, so that means he's not even going to be able to return for the playoffs. You see, Eddie, that Zeth has put the picture of me and you from 1992 up as the screensaver on my screen. Oh, yeah, I noticed that. And I can't even, you know, control it because he's got control of that screen. And so it's just terrible. Best screens ever. You get it, Ash. I have it too. I'm sure you use them up there. It's the one with Mike with the Van Halen pants. Sat in the corner. And the Melissa Etheridge haircut. I seriously look like a lesbian in that picture. A lesbian with a beard and mustache.
An obese lesbian. 570-1053 is the phone number, so give us a call. Getting in the show and the end of the show, so you can call them about whatever you want to. 570-1053, and then the text number, 35253. And don't forget our answering machine, 858-715-1923. Seven members of The Mikey Show. That is a lot of people on a program. Eddie pointed this out yesterday. I think that George Chamberlain, the money guy on NBC 739, wears a blue shirt every day. Button down. He does. Blue shirt every day. Eddie mentioned it the other day. I didn't even notice it. He's like Mr. Rogers with his sweaters. For real. I want to go in his closet and just see them lined up. Yeah. Like, how does he pick? How do you do it? Which one's the good one? How do you go in there? Next one in line. Yeah. Is there a lucky one?
Maybe he has his Monday shirt, his Tuesday shirt, his Wednesday shirt. Could be. I wonder what he wears on the weekends. Because my dad is that guy. My dad wears his dungarees and his button-down blue shirt seven days a week. Really? There's no, like, weekend casual. Like, it's the same thing every time. Yeah. Seven days a week? Yeah. That is a trip. Yeah. What about if he goes on vacation? Then what is that? Same thing. It doesn't matter. Same thing on vacation? Vacation. Yeah. What if it's a nice birthday dinner? Scott, what if you guys as an entire family went to Maui? He'd wear that. No way. No shorts. My dad does not own a pair of shorts. You know what? I just realized my dad's the same way, but my dad has psoriasis that he tries to cover with the long sleeves, you know? Oh, yeah, not my dad. He just likes it. Yeah. It's his thing. It's his thing. He wears it. Yep. Eddie's dad dressed pretty cool. Well, no.
He had a uniform that he wore every day forever. It was actually the short sleeve button up shirt and two slacks with cowboy boots. And he would wear that every single day. And then when he retired, in case a rodeo breaks out, he's ready to go. You need to be prepared. You can't blame him. And then he retired and now he's switching it up, which is crazy. You know, when we went golfing the other day, he wore shorts. Are you serious? I went, who are you? What kind? Like, you know, the kind of Docker shorts. Yeah. Those kind of golf shorts. Yeah. Like those. And golf shirt, you know, and tennis. Oh, my gosh. I'm guessing pretty white legs. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, dude. I had to wear like sunglasses. That's fantastic. That's crazy, though. Do you guys, does everybody on the show use a hamper to put their, and is it a separating hamper, meaning whites, colors, or does it all go in one place, Eddie? I have a very strange method.
I've had the same clothes hamper since I was a kid. Yeah. Wow. Because it's not like, I don't even know how to describe it. Star Wars themed. It's a Lucky Charms box. I really wish. I really wish. It's a Sith hamper. But we use that for dry cleaning. And then we have two, you know, those. carry on, you know, the things you carry your laundry in to go down like stairs. Yeah, a basket, laundry basket. We have two and one we put our colors in and one we put our whites in. And so then when we're ready to do laundry, we just pick it up. Puts the colors in the basket. That's how we do it. So where is that located? In our closet. In your closet. Yeah. How do you do it, Sky? We just have one hamper. Everything goes in it. And then on laundry day, you throw it all on the floor, you sort it out, and you do your loads of laundry. Too much work. Way too much work. Rebecca has two beautiful Pier 1 brown woven baskets. Of course. One large, one small. The larger one for everything, the smaller one for dry cleaning.
And then she sorts. Yeah, there's no dry cleaning in our house. And that is located in the master bedroom because they're so, you know, gorgeously woven masterpieces. By the way, today is my beautiful wife's birthday. Oh, happy birthday. She can now vote. She's now old enough to vote, which is great. That's right. That's exciting. That is exciting. How old is my wife? She is. It's always within a year. Now, you guys know me. I'm within a year of my own. I'm within a year of my own. No, I know how old she's turning today. Is it okay to say? It's up to her. Yeah, how does she feel about it? 33. She looks 23. What do you want from her? Yeah, she does. Gorgeous. That's right. Let's go around the room and introduce everybody. There are seven people on the show. I'm Mikey. And I'm the host. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. And he is 35. Sky is now 31 years of age. And she is a white girl. And she does news. And then Shawnee, oh boy, white guy. Very tall man. Very tall. Does sound effects for us. He's in San Francisco in a high-rise building. And we look at him on a computer monitor. By the way, open phones, 570-1053. Ashley.
our assistant producer. She is 25 years of age, and she's fearless in many ways, and we are going to eat her food. Go ahead and say I'm the token black girl on the show. She is the token black girl on the show. I have an AO update for you guys. Oh, my God. I can't wait. I was thinking about him yesterday. An AO update. Instead of me, just give the AO update. I got to move on to you. Boston Rob. Dang it. Boston Rob is, he's now 26. Oh, Jeepers. Jeepers Creepers, right? 26. I know. When did, what the heck? I know. When you were like 14. Yeah. Right? That is a trip. Seems like you were 14 when you first came on this show. I can't believe it. I remember when Eddie took my training wheels off. It was great. And you didn't even know you were riding the bike. All of a sudden, you turned around and there was no Eddie. You were like, ah, and then you cried. Screaming and crying. And then finally, there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr. Esquire, MD, DDS, president and CEO. As seen on TV. Yep. Rosie. Hi, Rosie. Zethian Oates. Same Zethian Oates, by the way. Yeah. Whose car.
has hit a new peak of crappiness. Opened the hood yesterday and the latch broke off in his hand. It's not even that old. It's an 0-1. It really isn't. You've been robbed. Of your dignity. I lost that long ago. He can't open the hood. He can't open the hood anymore. But he has to pour water in there every time. That was overrated anyways. Water. It's overrated. The poor kid really is Charlie Brown. Yeah, that's true. He really is, right? Guy cannot get out of his own way and just stuff, you know, like a good grief. This stuff always happens to me. Oh, come on, Charlie Brown. When are you getting your Christmas tree, Charlie? Yeah. You look it! Did you guys put up a Christmas tree yet? No, not yet. What's the deal, Eddie? I'm doing everything this weekend. Christmas tree, Christmas lights, getting all the decorations out. Real Christmas tree, or do you guys have a... We have a fakie. You have a fakie? Yeah, but there's... Oh, man. There's controversy in my household.
My family is all coming to my house for Christmas this year. Oh, wow. And so there's talk of having two trees. Oh, I love it. I love it. And a possible real one, which I do not want. Oh, I love it. I'm putting up lights for the first time this weekend by myself. Oh, I love it. I'm probably going to die. I don't want you to get hurt. I know. I know. Oh, I love it. It was nice knowing you. My dad has already sent me an email, hints with like tips. on what to do and what not to do. Hire someone? Is that on there? No. He believes in me. He believes in me. Listen, I can help. I already put mine up. I put my lights up. You did? With what? Duct tape? No. What do you got? It's actually... Sarissa told me not to use... Birthday candles on a string? No, I was going to use duct tape, but Sarissa said don't do that, so I broke out the old hammer and nail. You are so ghetto. You are so ghetto. I only have two strands of lights. Wow. That's fantastic. Want me to take a picture of him? Yes. Oh, yeah. Yes. Christmas in the ghetto. Oh, man. Eddie, you're doing that this weekend? Doing it all this weekend.
It's going to be a big one. Dude, I'll seriously help. Yeah, you need a spotter, bro. Yeah, you got to be holding the ladder, right? Yeah, if anyone has a two-story house, you need a spotter. I'm not putting it on the second story. I'm not an idiot. Okay, good. No extension ladder for you. Yeah, this way it's going to get to the roof. Can you buy me a staple gun? I have a staple gun. Oh, yeah. Oh, we're going to have so much fun. P1 Anderson is on the line. Hello, Mr. Anderson. How are you today? I'm good. How are you doing? Happy birthday to your wife. Oh, thank you. And I'll tell her that you said so. Right on. I just had a little question for Sonny, old boy. You know that he doesn't like people, right? That's part of it. He doesn't prefer questions. He mentioned some time ago a show called Stargate Atlantis. I was just wondering his take. They've canceled the series. I know they have, eh? Oh, Sean. Stop it now. How do you feel? What's your question? What's your take on it? Yes, how do you feel about it? Well, you know, I don't like it. It's a good show. I mean, the acting is great. The scripting is great. But they're doing a new series. I think it's called Stargate Universe, which is, you know, should be awesome. And, you know, at least they're not canceling the whole franchise. But, yeah, I'm not happy about it. Yeah, I read on it that they're actually in the...
deciding stage on Stargate Universe. They're not quite sure if they're going to do Stargate Universe. What do you mean, not sure? Well, they're not sure if they can re-sign Richard D. Anderson. Of course. Gregon is not confirmed yet. Maybe you guys can go to their website and chat it up on the blog about it or something. Thank you, though. So what's the update on AO? The update on AO is... AO's fine. Yesterday at the end of the show, we're talking to Ayo, right? And all of a sudden, he says a cop pulls up behind him and he's got to go. And so yesterday afternoon, I was kind of worried about Ayo. So I knew Chantel had his digits. So I got a hold of Chantel. I texted her and said, hey, if you have Ayo's digits, text me with him. So I call him up and he's like, you know it's all good. He was in his work truck and he was parked, you know, he's doing some paperwork and he was listening to us on the radio, but he was very close to where a federal agent lives. And so cops for, you know, they monitor this federal agent and help them. I mean, that's part of their job is to watch after some federal agents. That's part of their job. And so he was like on a residential street somewhere. Yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah. And they see, they see a,
You know, dude sitting in a... A brother. A black dude. That's cool. You can say it. Wow. Can I say it? Yeah. You should say it. You shouldn't say it. I saw a black dude sitting in his work truck in the... It's weak. Now, if I was sitting there, they would have done the same thing to me. Because I'm a Mexican dude with a goatee. Not if I was sitting there. Yeah, I'd been cool. Yeah, Sky would have been all right. Rob, nope. No? No. You're a white dude, but you got Boston tattooed across your neck. In fact, I think you're worse than Ayo. Yeah, I agree. In their minds, they're like more suspicious of you. I feel like calling the cops right now. Text number is 35253. Oh, wow. And this text says, can you guys give me a job? I'm a freaking felon, and nobody wants me. That's P1 Federal Prison. Okay, well... Interesting. I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think we have a job. Well, we hired Rob. And Zeth. Hey, I got a clean record. Zeth doesn't... Are we sure about that, though? We don't really know. No felonies. A lot of misdemeanors. I don't have a felony.
Justin, are you there? Yeah. What's up, man? Hey, I got a question for the Oracle. What's up? The Chargers lease at Qualcomm's up this year. I was wondering if you heard any plans about moving or renewing it and staying in San Diego. I know as much as you know, dude. I mean, they... They're trying to build a site. They're trying to get things worked out, and nothing is happening. So I have no idea. Yeah, well, they realistically can't have a new stadium built by next season. No, but they can extend their lease. Extreme Home Makeover does a whole house in a week. Here we go. Will you stop talking about Extreme Home Makeover? How long did it take the Empire to build the... Death Star. A long time, Mike. It did? Yeah, but they're slow and space is different. And it was also a bunch of union dudes. Well, Rob's going to get his hands on a staple gun this weekend. I'm so excited. If we get that stadium done a lot quicker than I thought. I will put one together with popsicle sticks and no time. Sounds good, Rob. 570-1053 is the number if you want to call us. Hey, Mikey, I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the other night and noticed
how Skye looks a lot like April O'Neil. That's P1, med assistant. Oh, and they're both journalists. Really? I gotta Google that. Who is April O'Neil? She's like the girl sidekick on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Rob, Rob, I can't tell you one thing about Mutant Ninja Turtles, not one. Oh, dude. I can now tell you about Barney. There's a trilogy, dude, and if you want, this weekend when I'm done with Eddie's Lights. It's all right. It is a trilogy. That does look like Skye. Skye, look, you guys have the same hair. Okay. That's insulting, Mike. What do you mean? My hair is not all frizzed out and ten feet tall. Dead ringers. Gorgeous. You're a jerk. If by a jerk you mean you're both gorgeous, then yeah. Okay, whatever. Yeah, my kid's into Barney. Oh, really? Is Elmo done? Yeah. Dude, it's all passing. He still likes Thomas, and he'll ask for Thomas every once in a while. Elmo, yeah. But Elmo is like his fallback, because he was like his dad. He gets so into something, he wears it out. And right now, man, he is just Barney, Barney, Barney, Barney. And I get those songs in my head.
And I can't get them out of my head. And they're really, really addictive, the songs. Oh, you mean the one that goes, I love you. Not that one, even. No, that one. I love you. You love me. We're a perfect family. Oh, yeah. I mean, that one's kind of. That's old school. Yeah. Mike likes some more high-tempo. Yeah. And I'm more into the off-track ones, you know, like the B-sides. The B-sides. Yeah. I'm into the deeper cuts. Yeah, the undergrounds for me. I'm not a big ballad guy. Yeah. So, is it catchy, like, um... What's more disturbing, the song or Sean expressionless dancing to it? See you next week, Sean. That's all I got to say. Can't you do something? Eddie rips his headphones off like when Sean plays the Orca sound effects. It annoys him. Can you do something? I've asked him. I've asked him. Fire him. I can't. That's cause. No, he's doing his job. That's not his job. It is. It's a sound effect. No, Sky, it's insubordination. Absolutely. I love it. It's insubordination. I support it. It's definitely. Yeah. That video. Genius. That's now in my head. I won't be able to get that out of my head. That's good.
That's in there. Having a lot of fun this morning. Yeah. I know it. And on Rebecca's birthday to boot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Eddie. What? My best friend. Oh, no. In his yesterday email, to add insult to injury. Yeah. In his yesterday email said, I was walking, I was at In-N-Out, and I was walking out with two milkshakes for me and Debra. Delish. Show off. What flavor? Me, chocolate, her vanilla. I know. I don't know. I get strawberry. It's so good. That's my favorite thing ever. It's America's favorite flavor ice cream. Skye even told us in a thing she did. She said she was doing the most popular flavors ice cream. Strawberry was number one.
Well, but that's ice cream, not milkshakes. That's true, but that's what they all get. Milkshakes are awesome. So check it out. So Eddie's leaving. Fake stat, but anyway. He says, as I was leaving, I slammed my elbow on the door hard enough that I thought I broke it. Oh, jeez. The milkshake. Oh, no. No. Went flying everywhere. No, it didn't. Yours or hers? Mine. As if that wasn't bad enough, the place was full, and then... Applause. Oh, that's a tough one. I haven't felt like that since, like, elementary school. The feeling don't change, does it? Oh, no. Like, I couldn't get small enough. It was horrifying. Like, applause. Applause. Really? Really, you a-holes? Fake people? Jerks? Let me tell you.
The worst part of it too, like what, you know, what adds to it is the bizarre, obscure pattern of milkshake that like, it looks like abstract art. It's like a Jackson Pollock. It's terrible. So how'd you react? What was your? You know me. I put my hand up. Turned my ass right around, went back to the counter and said, can I have another one? Come on, I'm not leaving that place without my milkshake. No way. I paid for it, all right? I think that they should have given you a free one, and I'm not kidding. I think that the place should go... Hey, listen. They didn't? Did you tell them what happened? Oh, yeah, well... They saw. They were clapping. Did they give you a free one? Yeah, they gave me another one. That's a nice place. Really? Yeah. Guys, you would not have... Oh, my goodness. Well, I'm sorry. That's your bad. You would have let the applause. No, I wouldn't. But still, I mean, unfortunately, it's your bad. I'm afraid that with the economy the way it is, I'm going to have to charge you. For the cleanup. Yes, for the cleanup. I mean, maybe that's your fetish. I don't know what you're into, like throwing milkshakes. Who knows? Wow. I'm going to support that. By the way, Sky had oatmeal for dinner. What is the matter with you? Another great dinner, Sky? I know, I know. Are you sick? I wanted malt oatmeal.
But the husband had to draw the line and say we need... Something's wrong with her. No. I'm not kidding. I'm on the stick of a big lunch, a mini dinner. That's crazy. Cookie mini dinner. It's not a mini dinner. No, it's two cookies. Okay, well, then you must be stuffed. I'm telling you, man. You're going to get sick. Why am I going to get sick? You need to eat food. I take vitamins. No, Sky, you really don't. I drink vitamins. Oh, you be quiet over there. You eat everything. Green juice. Tonight she's going to have a lollipop ring. Maybe some Pop Rocks. Maybe a candy necklace. We don't know. 570-1053 is the number. Fruit Loops is not dinner. Thank you. I know, I said oatmeal. 570-1053, text us. 35253. That is the phone number. San Diego City Council is going to ban used car sales on a whole bunch of city streets. I don't even know what it means. You know, like you'll see like a car on a street and it'll have a for sale sign in it. And sometimes like certain streets, certain busy areas like.
become basically used car lots like everybody will park their car there and so for a long time you know the city council has been working on this for years to try and stop this but they come into a problem of it being a free speech issue people putting the for sale signs in their car if if you can park there publicly why can't you have a for sale sign in there Because they say it brings down the value of certain neighborhoods, not when there's like one car, but when it basically those certain streets around town that turn into used car lots, like on the weekend, everyone will go and park their car there. And then every street, you know, on the car, every car on the street is for that. So basically, the city council voted yesterday for this new measure where about two dozen streets around the city of San Diego will ban this. You will not be able to park your car there. and these two dozen streets are the streets where, you know, they say that, you know, just everybody goes there and it's like a used car lot. Wow. Yeah, so we'll see how that goes. I don't know how I feel about that. Yeah, people will be ticketed and towed and the cars will be impounded. That's one of those things you got to kind of think about and figure out how we feel about that one. It's kind of strange. Yeah, it's different. 570-1053. Mikey, I just saw the pics of you and Eddie from 1992 on MikeyShow.com.
All I can say is priceless. All right. We get it. We were hot. No. Oh, well. Those should not be seen without hearing the song Cut the Mullet. No. Right? P1, what's hampooning? Okay, guys. P1 Jerry's on the line. Hi, Jerry. What up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Hey, Jerry from the Rock Church, man. I haven't seen you around in a while. Right on, brother. Now, I go to... I go to North Coast Church now up in Vista because we live up in North County. Yeah, I'm going to take my buddy over there, man. He's kind of on the fence, and I told him about that North Coast Church. And you said something on Saturday nights. They have, like, you can go to, like, a more hardcore scene, right? What it is is they do this thing there called Venues. And so you go to whatever venue suits the type of music that you listen to. Yeah, yeah. And the one that I go to is, it's not like metal or anything, but it's just rock. It's rock music. Yeah, yeah. The Rock Church does certain, they do like the young adult cafe and stuff like that. It's kind of cool. Yeah, Sean was there. Sean came into town one time and we took him because he was with us. And my wife and I took him and it looks like, inside of the place, it looks like 4th and B.
It's like being in a rock club. It's really awesome. I think that would be good for my buddy because, like I said, he's kind of on the fence, but I just want to present it to him like, hey, man, not all Christians are nerdy. You know what I mean? He's that kind of guy where he kind of has that opinion. Yeah, I am, but not all are. I mean, I'm nerdy, but... That's a good way to do it. That's a good place to do it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not. That's a good place. Yeah, I know you're not, dude. Hey, so check this out, man. I need your prayers today, dude. I'm sitting down at the Border Patrol station getting ready to take my oral interview. I passed the test. I took your advice, and you were hammering, hammering about, you know, joining the Border Patrol. So, dude, I am so nervous right now. I'm like... Tell God to take you out of it and put him in it. There you go. I've been praying all morning, dude. And I'm just like, this is so not the norm for me. You're going to be fine right now. Oh, this dude's all covered in tats. I know this guy, Jerry. You look handsome. So you got on the business attire right now? You don't even know. I'm trying to picture you in a business attire.
I feel really good because there's a lot of people here. I mean, I thought I was, you know, I don't want to say nothing, but I thought I was out of shape. I'm like, dang, I don't know how these other guys are doing. That's awesome. Hey, Jerry, good luck, brother. Yeah, dude. Thank you very much, man. I'll see you. You can call us at 570-1053. We got a show today. First of all. We're going to be eating each other's turkey sandwiches. Listen, why is this interesting? Because we're disgusted by each other. And we don't want to eat the filthiness of what everybody's going to make here. My wife said to me yesterday, she goes, I know that if Sean were there, he would not do this. And I go, I know, there's no way. There's no way we could get him to do it. But we're going to be eating each other's turkey sandwiches, videotaping it, and putting it on the website. Speaking of Sean, Sean will introduce us to a new television show today on Sean TV. We're going to do a little lyrical gangsta with you today. YouTube clip of the day. Delicious. I want seconds. Really freaking out that they're going to be eating other people's turkey sandwiches here on the show. Because we don't all like what we do like. I think a great way to put it is we like what we like. We don't like what other people like. Thank you. I want my sandwich like I want my sandwich. I mean, that's Eddie's praise. I've heard that. That's his saying. And today, he's going to be eating his sandwich like he doesn't eat his sandwich. I don't like that. Can't do it. So are we.
Turkey with cranberry sauce on it. Nothing else. No condiment. Light turkey. Light turkey. I hope I pull my own name. That's the only one I don't want. Only because I don't think it's... Are we doing the roulette? Dude, I love the idea. I love the roulette idea, but if we pull our own name, we have to put it back in. Absolutely. No. Absolutely. That's fair. There's no point to this thing, Skye. And I'm sorry, but I cannot eat anything with mustard on it. Skye. I'm sorry. Light mustard. No, I don't care. I don't care. You have to try it. Maybe you'll like it. Sky is supposed to change. You can spit it out. I will quit this job before I have to eat mustard. This is like talking to my wife. It is like hearing my wife. I'm willing to try the rest of your shenanigans. You're truly clowning out right now. You are a clown. She is clowning out. Big red floppy shoes. I would take a bite and it would automatically come out of my mouth. It would not. And probably a little vomit. You're being very dramatic. Not only is she being dramatic. I'm being accurate. I say this to my wife all the time. Skye, you're a 31-year-old woman. You're an adult woman. It's time to grow up. You're not a little girl. The things I hate are mustard and tomato. The other day, we went to Carl's Jr., and I got the guacamole burger, which I used to get all the time, haven't got in a really long time, but they revamped it and are pushing it, so I got it. Well, what I didn't know is they now put fine pieces of tomato in the guacamole, and they didn't do that before. I took one bite.
and literally spit it across the room. Because you're allergic, right? No, because she's 14. Because the taste was so disgusting to me. It's not that I even saw it. It was like an automatic reaction. When the taste hit my mouth, I spit it out. My husband was staring at me like I was crazy. See how sensitive my palate is? See how sensitive my palate is. So I will be willing to participate, but if I draw Eddie's name, I will have to put it back. I'm sorry. Why do you get special treatment around here? If your sandwich had bell peppers in it, I'd eat it. I would eat it. Only if you put bananas would he not eat it because he's allergic to bananas. You have to. You can avoid the mustard. Try to take a bite with avoiding the mustard. This is the rules of the game. I know. I don't care. You have to. I mean, all your sandwiches are gross.
But if it comes to mustard, I can't. I'm sorry. She's the most traumatic person. It will ruin my day. It will ruin your day. Well, let's just hope for the best. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that. You know, you may avoid the chamber, you know, the bullet in the chamber. That's right. We're playing turkey roulette. This is bad. My goodness. Bad start. All right. Do you want to hear some answering machine messages? Cheer me up. 570-1053 is our phone number here. Our text number is 35253, and we have an answering machine number, 858-715-1923. Hey, Mikey, just wondering, you know, I just spoke to someone right now, and they don't believe in Christmas. And, you know, it says that in the encyclopedia, Whichever one, you know, it doesn't say, I mean, it says where Christmas comes from, where it started, how it got started, how Jesus Christ was never born on December 25th. And I just want to get your take on that. What do you think about that? I did read the encyclopedia, and it does say where it comes from. And it does show it has nothing to do with Jesus Christ.
And in the Bible, it doesn't state when he was born and what date. I don't know. It's just something to think about. And if you want, you can text me or you can tell it and explain it on the air. That's a great question. That's a great question. I'm going to text him. Okay, Eddie will text him. You answer it on the air, Mike. All right. Eddie's texting. I'll answer. He is right that Jesus' birth. is not mentioned in the Bible. And so the December 25th thing is something that we do symbolically. And for somebody like me, it doesn't really matter. I know this is a fact, but to me it doesn't matter. But what really kind of is a bummer is that some people will focus on that. And if they're sort of, you know,
first learning about religion or whatever, and they hear that, it's confusing because they're like, well, why do we do it on the 25th if it's not, that's not right and blah, blah, blah. It's not about the date. It's about the event. And God didn't put it in the Bible and he didn't put it in the Bible for a reason. And I think, this is just my opinion, but I think that the reason that he didn't put it there is because he didn't want us to sort of trip out on that date. and make a big thing out of that particular date. It's not like we're discussing it now going, hey, did you know that it really isn't the 25th? And that we get into that conversation and that God is like, wow, really? Didn't know that. And so it's 100% right that the 25th is not the actual date of Christ's birthday. We don't know when it is. We don't know what the day that he was actually born.
But it doesn't matter. The important thing is the event. And to trip out on that date is a very good distraction. Somebody said, let's say that my son, Jake, grew up and he invented something really cool. And people wanted to talk about that invention. And they tripped out on, hey, I don't know that Jake was actually born September 9th. I don't know that that's actually the deal. The point is the invention. The point is not necessarily that, well, forget not necessarily. The point isn't that date. But he's right. I can see how people can trip out because, like, you know, I know nothing about the Bible or anything, but, you know, they say, oh, Christmas is the day Christ was born, and that's what we're celebrating. You know, I would much more appreciate somebody saying, oh, Christmas is when we celebrate Christ.
You know what I mean? Because why do you even have to say, because to me, I've just been lied to, you know, like, and then and then that's what gets in your head. Like, well, what's the point of even lying? Why can't we just celebrate the dude if that's what people want to do? And I agree, man. I mean, listen, if I was writing the rules, I would say this is the day we celebrate Christ. But I think that I think that I guess people just want to. It came from somewhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So somebody came up with it and, you know, and for me, you know, it's just my opinion. For me, it's always been, you know, a day, any day you can celebrate Christ is a good day for me. And it's just an extra special day to give thanks and to appreciate, you know. If you believe in Jesus Christ, which I do. Yeah, and I'll say to Jake, I'll say this is Jesus' birthday. Because it's the only date that we can point to. And I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I mean, if that's how I was raised and that's what I was told. I mean, I don't have a problem with that. Especially if we don't really know what...
what day he was born and why not? I'll say we don't really know. He doesn't really say. Because I just hate people feeling deceived because, you know, I've heard scholars talk about that, you know, when they look back in the Bible and Mary, like it wasn't winter, you know, when Mary gave birth, you know, so how could it be December 25th, you know? And just my thought on when you're teaching anybody anything, it's like as soon as they feel a hint of deception, whether it's lame or not. It distracts them. Isn't it halfway across the world? I don't know. Why would their conditions be different? I don't know. I just heard somebody say that once. And I don't think Jesus celebrates a half birthday, so I don't think he cares. Really? That's just me. I don't know. We don't know, Skye. We don't know. It's possible. I think everybody should. But I doubt it. I mean, just in general. This could all be really similar to my situation with Sammy because when I adopted her, they told me her birthday's on Christmas. But it isn't. But we don't know for sure because, you know, I mean, they adopted her. What we're supposed to be celebrating is the chubbiness of the dog. Right. The beautifulness. Yes. The beauty that is my sweet.
Fat puzzle. And if you ever compare Sammy to Jesus again... It's very similar. We just say her birthday's on Christmas, and that's on her birth certificate, and that's what we go with. Now, this is honestly the deal. There can easily be... This can easily be a distraction. And, you know, for somebody like me that is so... in love with Jesus, I know that it doesn't give his birth date. And when I think about how it doesn't give his birth date, I go, I know God has a reason for everything that he does. And so he didn't give his birth date and he very easily could have given his birth date. And there are perhaps hints in the Bible as to when he was born.
And maybe you can look at those hints and if that's important to you, if knowing the actual date is important to you. And I realize that we're all different. You know, if we all like to taste the different sandwiches, we got different interests. And so if it's really interesting to you, the date that he was born, that's cool. I mean, you can kind of look at some of the hints that they give and try to figure out when. And I think that there are that those exist. There are some hints as to maybe the time period. But in terms of the date. Man, it sure is a bummer. And I agree with Sky, man. If there's different flavors of people and Sky is the type that says, hey, man, I might kind of feel deceived by that. I get it. And so I'm who knows? My son might be that type of guy. And so I want to be clear from him from the very beginning. Hey, we don't really know the exact date, but we celebrate it on this day. And the reason that we do is because it was about the winter solstice during that period of time. And it was. That's why that date was chosen. It was about a winter solstice. It's a long story. And maybe that's why it hasn't been like a big, you know, we just know it's. Oh, I can't text anymore. I think I've been texting all of this. My thumbs are burning. Let's see. 5701053. Oh, my goodness. Look at the phone lines. They're blowing up. Oh, my God. And I still have more messages.

The Vikings, Pat and Kevin Williams, as well as the Saints, Deuce McAllister, Charles Grant and Will Smith, and Houston's Brian Pittman. Will Smith? Yeah, I thought Will Smith was a star of TV and Screen. Yeah. Plays for the Saints as well. He does. Independence Day. Very talented. So talented. Great movie, Independence Day, by the way. That was a bad movie. Really terrible. It was a great movie. Men in Black, he also did that. Ooh, yeah. Another good one. Great. Before we went to... Before we went to break, I said that a Santee neighborhood was evacuated. Sky, why were they evacuated? Okay. Well, first of all, can we just all be adults when we discuss this story? Can I ask that of you? I'm trying to figure out what that could possibly mean. I'm a little offended by that, but okay. So we're all agreeing. Sure. I have no problems with that at all. So we're all going to be adults. I have promises from all of you. You're not proving yourself to be. But anyway, so in San T yesterday, parts of Mission Board... Hey, I'm not even going to tell you. Oh, come on. What's going on? What is that all about, mom? So anyway... Go ahead. Nobody will do anything. Thank you.
So yesterday, part of Mission Gorge Road was closed down, and the area was evacuated for about seven hours. Will Eddie stop doing that? What did he do? Well, he has both his hands on his face about to make a fart noise. No, I was not. I was shocked. That was your home alone face? Well, your hands were a little too close for it. You got it wrong. So yeah, about seven hours yesterday, evacuation, Mission Gorge Road, because of a chemical explosion that came from... fumes of chlorine from a vacant spa business in the area. What? A vacant spa business? Yeah. What does that mean? What is a vacant spa business? I don't know. Vacant spa business. What is that? Like a jacuzzi business? I don't know. It's like a Roman shower place. Yeah, what are we talking here?
I don't know. I've never been there. I don't know exactly if they... Come on, Skye. Is it like a Turkish bath or what? All I know is that they were cleaning. They were using chlorine, which got mixed with other chemicals, which caused an explosion. And then there were chlorine fumes in the hole. Are you bummed? Well, no one was injured, so I mean, you know. Hello, is this a spa business? Oh, no. Is this vacant spa? Is this Vito's jacuzzi club? Real stories of a jacuzzi club. We're listening. I thought you said you were going to be adults. I'm addicted to bathhouses. Where is that coming from? Are you taking reservations? No. It's me. Shut up. You guys promised.
Hi, Scry. Member number one, please. What cover? No names here. Derusual? Yes. Anyway, so it took about seven hours. What time should I put you down for? There was so much chlorine in the air that, you know, it was burning people's lungs and it's really bad for you to inhale that. The real stories of a jacuzzi club. Okay, Sean. Please. Sorry, Scry, but we had to close. We had to close down. No, are you okay? Yeah, we're okay, but it's very strong. So if you still come by this weekend, you may have to try in different locations. Can I just come to your house? Can you please stop? We could make accommodation. I'll just sit in your bathroom and turn on the heat real high. It will cost you extra. I'm fine with that. I'll pay top dollar. You're the best. How much are we talking here? Whatever you want, Chang. Okay, well... Chang! When you say top dollar... Yeah, you know what mommy likes. What does that mean? I know what mommy likes. Ashley, do you remember when they promised to be adults?
I know what the money rocks, but... I'm kind of enjoying this. I'm not going to lie. It's kind of funny. I mean, are we talking about President Jackson or President... President Rinken? Are we talking... Mike, you know the difference, Chang. Please. Come on. That is true. It's green, all right? Oh, you guys are just so hilarious. Not like your red money. Okay, we're all so funny. That's great. Yeah, how many yen are you reading? You're a dirty girl, Sky. Yeah, you are. Brutal. So what's up? You know, it hurts, but it feels so good. It's a short day for you, eh? It's hard to be an adult when you're hearing stories like that. It's just too good to be true. It's like hand delivered to us. It's not every day you get to hear about that kind of stuff. It's not every day Sky comes walking through the aisles with hot towels like that one. Oh, yeah. Need a good sweat. Soft, please. Or something else. Hey. P1 Kitty McMew is on the line, ladies and gentlemen. P1 Kitty McMew. How you doing? Good. How you doing? That's weird. That's not the voice I expected for Kitty McMew. How you doing, man? Good. Thank you very much.
Hey, listen, I was just wanting to ask Skye if, you know, what kind of tree she'd be getting this year. If it would be a Christmas tree or perhaps a holiday tree. Christmas or holiday. We put it up this weekend, this past weekend, and it is a holiday tree. Oh. You guys hate holidays? Wow, you guys are horrible. You hate Christmas? Yeah. I don't hate Christmas. Why are you screaming? Well, I'm not booing people's Christmas trees like you're booing my holiday tree. What? I thought you were going to boo. Skye, do you? How do you decorate? What do you do? Brought to you by Sleep Train Mattress Centers. Well, the ride's still looking pretty typical out of here. No major problems, just the usual backup here. You've got plenty of brake lights now developing out of the South Bay. Both the 5 and the 805 growth-bound jam went up out of Chula Vista up to National City. The 805 slows again through North Park, a little bit over Mission Valley, up to around Mesa College now. On West 94, that's a good-looking freeway. Just a minor delay into downtown.
Traveling westbound on the 8th, you will find some slow traffic in La Mesa here as you'll push Jackson Drive, and that stays slow out to Lake Murray when it lets you loose. South 15, the usual bumper-to-bumper stuff here out of Escondido off to 78th of your Rancho Parkway. The coaster ride's looking pretty good. Just a brief delay on South 5 around Santa Fe Drive, and then you're pretty much on your way past that. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. That's crazy. San Diego's Rock 3. So you're a medic right here in San Diego for the fire department. That's cool, dude. And thank you for what you do. Yeah, no problem. It's a fun job, and I appreciate it. Right on. All right, your categories. You two, one-hit wonders, and today's favorites. I think I'm doing the one-hit wonders. You got it. Your one-hit wonders question is... In the Eric Carman one-hit wonder, All By Myself. He says, All by myself. Don't want to be. All by myself. When? Wait, hold on. Don't want to be all by myself. No, he's singing it in his head. I didn't even have a shot. He doesn't want to be all by himself. Anymore. I was gonna say anymore, but I did it. I still don't get anything for what I do. Sing it. Anymore. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. We're the dancers. Well, well done. We're the dancers. I don't even know how I know that. Dude, that's fantastic stretch. I don't know that you want to admit how you know that. Hang on the line, bro. Hang on the line. Let's see. P1 Scotty is on the line. Oh, Scotty. Hello, Scotty. How you doing?
Really good. Scotty, what part of San Diego do you live in? Carl Benz. Nice. What do you do? The cable guy. Another hero. Yes, that's right. You are certainly a hero. That is three heroes in a row, ladies and gentlemen. Wow. Scotty, your categories, One Hit Wonders, U2, and today's favorites. U2. Oh, yeah. Not a U2 one yet. I'm glad. Here we go. In the song Where the Streets Have No Name, he says, I want to run. I want to hide. I want to tear down the walls that hold me what? Hold me down. Oh, rhyming. He wants to tear down the walls that hold him inside. Yeah. Tear him down. Reach out. Touch. Yes. Where the streets have no name.

Ashley, how old? 23. What do you do? I'm a receptionist. There you go. There you go. Are you Secretary of State? That's Hillary Clinton. You are not. You are not Secretary. You are not. That's weird. All right, Ashley. Your categories are One Hit Wonders, Today's Favorites, and U2. What would you like? Let's get some U2. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's do that. Let's do it. Let's do it. No more. Yes. Your U2 question is, in the song, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, he says, oh, Eddie's gargling. Yeah, ready? Here we go. He says, I have climbed highest mountain. I have run through the fields.
Only to be with what? Only to be with you. Yes! Thanks, Sky. Only to be with you. Wow. But I see what I'm looking for. People can hear you. Wow. Well done. That was awesome. Hang on the line, Ashley. Ashley! Let's do open phones. What do you think? Let's go. Let's do it. I'm in a good mood. I just want to... You want me to sing some more? Yes! This is the Mikey Show. I am not dumb. The Mikey Show's on. Chalking and jaw dropping. I hate Rock 105.3. I like this song a lot. It took me a long time to figure out that there was two people singing. Really? Seriously, first time I heard this, well, first million times I heard it, I thought it was all Chad Kroger singing the whole song. Because he's singing with the lead singer of the band Saliva, Josie, and their voices are kind of the same range.
And there's major controversy about this song. Big time. Big time controversy. Josie did not feel that he was paid. When the song became a big, gigantic hit, which it did, Josie felt that he should have been better compensated. They had agreed on something from the very beginning, which was a very small amount because it was a very small role that Josie was going to play. And Josie sort of felt like, hey, listen, we agreed on that, but the song became a gigantic hit. And so you would think that even though we agreed on a small amount, once the song was selling gabillions and gabillions of singles, that you would kind of give me a little taste. A little kiss. A little kiss. A little bump. And Kroger was like, hey, man, we agreed on a price. And what do you... I wrote the song. He's like... Yeah, Kroger was saying, I wrote the song, and so I paid you to do this thing. Are they cool now? You be the judge. Well, they went to People's Court, and I guess Doug Llewellyn had it. You guys, there's some judge show on. You know how there's 90 billion judge shows on? There's some judge show on now with an ATM in the courtroom, and I'm just taking a guess here, because I was like, there's an ATM in that courtroom?
I'm guessing the reason for it is because those shows a lot of times are small claims. And so I'm guessing what they do is have them go to the ATM and pay the person like on the spot. I guess. Have I stretched this out long enough just so I could hear the song? Do you guys get that? That's what I was thinking. I try to pretend I'm talking about something. What I'm really doing is just enjoying the song. Have I given a time check? No. I better do that here in a second. It's 734. Brad Pitt said in a recent interview that him and Angelina will get married only if it becomes important to their kids. You're going to want to hear this. What is it? Oh, wait. Hang on. Wait, wait, wait. Let me pause it. Okay, that's fine. That's fine. Breaking news in the Plaxico Burris situation. Latest development. What? The doctor who helped treat him with the gunshot wound.
has been suspended for failing to alert police and signing off on medical papers identifying him in a phony name. Oh, that's not good, right? That's not good. Yeah, because under law, if a gunshot wound comes in, they have to report it. No. This gets crazier and crazier. It gets crazier and crazier by the second. And it's not over because when we find out what Antonio Pierce, did to try and hide the gun and stuff like that. When all that comes out, it's going to be bad. Oh, no. Nobody buy a butter gun. Don't get any of those butter guns. You know what I mean? 570-1053 is our phone number. Give us a call about anything. Let's just say hi. Let's just say what's up. Yeah, we're talking about all kinds of stuff. Eddie just talked about the Plaxico deal.
But it's literally anything that you'd like to call in about, we'll take your call. Because we're just messing around. Today's December 3rd, my wife's birthday. Happy birthday to my wife. My mom's birthday, too. Happy birthday, Mom. That's right, man. Happy birthday, Mom. I knew that. Your mom? Yeah, my mom. Your mom. Did you call her yet? Yeah. Well, she tried calling me yesterday, and I didn't get the call. But I've tried calling her like... eight to ten times this morning because, you know, three hours ahead and she got laid off, so she was just hanging out. And her answer machine, usually there's like this long elaborate poem or, you know, whatever. Does she really do that? You didn't. That's awesome. I thought she did it once, but I didn't realize every voicemail message is a big poem. No, no, dude, it changes. And if you leave a message on her answering machine saying, you know, oh, maybe it's time for a new one, she'll... include that in the poem. Somehow include that, oh, people didn't like the last one, so I'm going to rhyme. Are you saying it'll be like this? It'll be like, people didn't like that I wasn't changing the message, so here's a little new one to get you on your breastage. Exactly. Like that kind of deal? Well said. Instead of getting that this morning, it's some other lady that's not like a robot lady, but...
Saying that the answer machine is full. Oh, that sounds very familiar. That sounds very, very familiar. I hate when that happens. Mom. Yeah. See? What? Yeah. My phone doesn't have an answer machine. P1 Lobo. Hey, Mikey, what's up? What's up, dude? I love you, man. Thank you, brother. Love you back. I have a question for you. What's up? How did you meet Sean? I don't think I've ever learned that. How did you guys actually meet Sean? Well, I don't remember ever. Furry convention? I do not. It may have been. I do not remember how we actually met. I do not. But I remember becoming aware of Sean because he knocked on my office door one day. I turned around and there was Sean. And I knew who he was. He worked in the building. And he was very, very nervous. He was like Luca Brasi. And he said... I did my best. What do you want? Oh, no. Oh, my goodness. Mikey, I am glad to meet you. Okay. Don Coyone. I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your daughter's wedding. Sweating. Think it through. On the day of your daughter's wedding. Uh-oh. He went back and that was... But anyway, and he told me that he was a writer and that he was interested in writing comedy. And I said, that sounds like a really cool idea.
what would you think about doing sound effects as well? And he goes, I'd love to. And so it started a... I can tell you the first time I met his mom. Eddie. I thought we were just sharing first time. First time meeting. We were not. We were not. You can share with me later. It was at his wedding, which is really weird. That is true, though. Shut up, dude. Cross the room. Maybe a truthful story. She's married, bro. P1 Joanna is on the line. What's up, Joanna? Well, I have to say I'm still reeling in my horrible Thanksgiving that I had to deal with because I went over to my husband's family's house for a sit-down dinner for 18, and I'm a stomped vegan. And he guaranteed me that...
that there would be some food prepared for me because I don't not support anything made with animal products, clearly, and there was nothing prepared for me. So at this sit-down dinner for 18, I sat with an empty plate in front of my face. Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No, no, no. And it was what? Question, did you? I mean, because you sound very angry. And so my question is, did you ask your boyfriend to make sure that you had her husband, your husband, your husband. Okay. Okay. Yeah. All right. I did. I, because he's aware of this. We even had, um, we're newlyweds. We just got married a couple of months ago at my wedding. I even had, um, vegan alternatives from, from myself and my vegan friends. All of his family just rolled their eyes. And at Thanksgiving, they were trying to almost make it a point to, like, put me down. Even one of the kids made a V for me, like a scarlet letter. Oh, my gosh. That is hysterical. That is hysterical. That is hysterical. It's hysterical. High five the kid. And truly, like, I'm sitting there.
And what if my husband, I try to bring like, I always bring like a little kit in case I go places. You bring a kit? A vegan kit. A vegan kit. Patent pending. What's it got in there? Like an acorn? Seas to plant. What does it have? I swear, you all are going to, you people that eat all this, all this. Here we go. You're going to die. You're going to die soon. We are? What do you mean, you people? Yeah, but people have been doing that for a long time. Joanna? Yeah. People have been living for a long time and been able to do it. She's a vegan but smokes three packs a day. That's right. She didn't say that. Yeah, I think that it's unusual that you would go to a family meal like Thanksgiving and be married. You're telling me that this sit down for 18 didn't have any vegetables on the plate.
Or on the table. And no cranberry sauce and no mashed potatoes. She doesn't know what they're cooked in. What, chicken broth? Come on. Well, yeah, she can't have chicken broth. But who cooks vegetables in chicken broth? I cook my green beans. I roll them in, like, bacon grease. Oh, okay. That sounds good. Delicious. Yeah. Okay. Mashed potatoes have dairy. Wait a second. I see Eddie's point and I see Skye's point. I have a solution. Why not ask? Hey, how was this prepared? Oh, human ass. I did, and they were all butter-based because they didn't realize that they couldn't use butter in the vegan world. And I'm sorry, but his mother has a freaking computer. All you have to do is use the word vegan. Wow. You can't eat butter? No. No, dude, because it's made from animals. It is? What animals does butter come from? The butter bird. The butter bird? Yeah, the butter bird is lazy. That's ridiculous. That's stupid. We all know you grow butter. Shush. Yeah. This is ridiculous. They were like, they were, I mean, I'm telling you, they were purposely, like, if I was sitting in the middle of the table with my husband and they would purposely pass the turkey and ham right in front of me, even though really. Okay.
Oh, and I'm sorry. They were shoving the demon meat in front of me. The demon meat. I love this chick. Get out. She's a mess. You are crazy. It was disgusting. It was disgusting. I love it. You're such a badass. Joanna. Joanna. Joanna. Can you please say that for us one more time? But the demon meat? Yes. They were shoving the demon meat in front of me. Save that clip. Ridiculous. That is pretty funny. We're getting some calls about you, Joanna, and I'd like to take some of them. I support you, Joanna, for the record. Thank you. Oh, Skye, you're so sweet. I'm just saying, if her man talked to them in advance and they said they were going to make preparations and they didn't, it's rude. It's Thanksgiving dinner. She could have brought her own stuff if they said, I'm sorry, we can't accommodate you. She could have brought her own stuff. She didn't have a can of peanuts in the car or something? Well, I'm sure the family didn't realize, like, oh, she can't have butter and milk and stuff like that. They didn't have honey. Well, but, you know, what's more is, like, you can't take one day off. I mean, come on. It's not going to kill you, right? It's not going to kill you. Sean, do you take one day off from being a dramaphobe? Shut up, please. Take the day off. You take a day off and go around hugging everyone. You take a day off with your hair. P1 Mari is on the line. Mari?
It was rude. I'm sorry. Hang on. Mari, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Go ahead. What did you want to say? Well, you know, she's saying how people who eat animals are going to die and they're going to die soon. Without protein in your diet, it's, you know. You're going to be the one dying soon. That's all I wanted to say. Well, you can get protein from tofu and beans. There's plenty of other ways to get tofu. What? Lentils? It's never going to be the equal amount of quality protein that you get from eating an actual animal. And I mean, I'm all about animal rights, and I voted yes on Prop 4. All right, Brad. What was that one? The gay marriage. It was? I voted yes. Remember the cow tipping commercial? Oh, that hysterical commercial? Eddie thought that was a new comedy coming out this holiday season. Let's see. You got cow punked. Let's see. P1 Sarah, you got a question? Yeah, I'm just wondering what dish did she offer to bring? Ooh, didn't offer to bring a dish. Let her answer. Let her answer. As a matter, I brought, I actually brought, thank God, a vegan apple pie. Well, then there you go. You had dinner.
Well, that's dessert. That's a dinner. Everyone's eating turkey. Excuse me from Sky's yesterday email. Last night for dinner, oatmeal. Thank you. The night before, two cookies. Thank you. Yes. I'm not entertaining a group of people. That's true, but you can sustain yourself on it. Why didn't you just have a little vegan apple pie, lady? Yes, a vegan apple pie. Absolutely delicious. This is so good. Looks like the bigger self of the pack. If you were an apple, Eddie, would you eat yourself? If I was delicious, though. And I were vegan. That's right. If I was red delicious, I'd do a head dive into his shell and bake myself. That's right. P1 Cheese is on the line. Let's keep doing this. Cheese, you there? Yeah, go ahead. Cheese, Wes. Well, I'm calling my girlfriend's also vegan, and she made her own... Thanksgiving meal all herself. She made her own vegan stuffing, tofurkey, mashed potatoes. Hey, you can't say that on the radio. Wait, I'm sorry? She made her whole just vegan Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, I heard you. I just was saying I'm sorry. That sucks.
And I'm sure this gal would have done the same if she wasn't told that there would be preparations made for her. She had an apple pie. She has a name, Skye. It's ridiculous. Yes, her name is ridiculous. You could call her that. That is not her name. I'm sorry? Hey, what would you... I got a question. Wait, wait, wait. What would you guys do? If you were, you know, trippy like her and you did this thing and you went over to the house and they didn't have anything, like, would you sit there with an empty plate in front of you? Maybe just get a plate, but don't eat it. Pick at it. Make it look like you ate. What else do you do? What are you going to do? What do you do? I'd sit there with an empty plate. You would? Yeah. I'd start a food fight. But, Skye, if you sit there with an empty plate, your intent is to make them feel bad, whereas that wasn't their intent. They didn't know. Butter. So what would you like me to do? Just, you know, make the best of it. Not eat it. Be cool. Not eat it, but be cool. Not eat it, but be cool. So first of all, I object in general to it, and now you want me on top of that to waste it. It's not going to be wasted. They are going to keep it for leftovers. The food that is on my plate, they will keep for leftovers. Be thankful for the food on your plate. That's what they do with leftovers. No, not with the food on your plate. I do. I took my fiance's. Well, you're a hobo. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Be glad for the food on your plate. Thank you. Sky would sit there with no food on the plate either, lady. And hold on, wait a minute, Miss Almond Joy. Yeah. What? I took the food off my fiance's plate. I didn't put an almond in my mouth and suck on the ground. Again, we're not at a family dinner. These are things that me and my hubby do in the privacy of our own home. That didn't make a lot of sense, but it was darn funny. That was. Hey, P1AJ is on the phone and has a very good point. You there, AJ? Yeah. Dude, you got a good point. Go ahead. And a great playhouse. Yes. Both are good. I have a band that I used to tour with that were vegan. And when we had long discussions, because I'm a very devout carnivore, and we had discussions about it, and they said that being a vegan is a personal choice, and a lot of times in order for them to stand up for animal rights, they had to make sacrifices. Hello. There you go. Not everybody's vegan.
Yeah, listen, on Thanksgiving, you've got to realize, you know, not the whole world is like it. What's the point? What's the point? The point is, is she was told. But they didn't know. All right. I honestly, I swear to you, my hand to God, I did not think about the butter and the dairy stuff. They didn't know. I wouldn't have known that. So why punish them? Why punish them? Why are you going to agree to it if you're ignorant to it? They probably thought it was meat. Well, ignorance means ignorance. That's what I would have thought. That's vegetarian. I'm not that smart when it comes to stupid stuff. That's my whole thing, woman on the phone, is that with your boyfriend... Her name is ridiculous. With your boyfriend, I really am confused. Or your husband, rather. Your husband. How did he not... Make sure that the people knew what a vegan was and what the deal was. And if they weren't planning on preparing food for you, then why didn't he give you the heads up so that you could bring your own? I feel like your husband totally screwed you. Totally. He did screw me. I blame your husband. Get a divorce. Yeah. Why aren't you asking him? Why is a family getting punished? Honestly, though. He said, and listen, I'm still traumatized. A week later, I'm like traumatized.
And he told me that he talked to his mom. She swore up and down. She'd have my little vegan food ready for me. And that's where she thought. It's the same thing. She didn't know that drizzling honey on the green beans would affect the green beans. And she didn't know. She didn't know. She didn't know. And so, but he had said that he wasn't going to, you know, that it was causing friction between him and his mom at that point as well. And so he said he brought it up. She said she was taking care of it, and it was done. And then the worst part about it is my husband's sitting next to me as, you know, like I said, the demon meat thing passed by, and he's laughing at me. He's like, he thinks it's funny. Wow. You know, and... Sky looks devastatedly hurt just listening to the story. Like, they're newlyweds, and he's laughing at her. This is, like, her personal conviction, and he's laughing. Skye, check this out. Skye, the fact that they're newlyweds is the person on the line's point the opposite way, though. P1 Diet Cokehead's on the line. Good morning. Good morning. Okay, here's my thing. She's one person out of 18, right? Yep. Right. She's the only vegan.
Why should, and she's only been around for a couple months. Why should that family be expected to accommodate her? Bring your own food. Again, they're not expected. The mother said she would do it. If the mother said, you know what, I'm overwhelmed. I can't do it. I'm sure that would have been fine. But no, the mom said, I'll take care of it. It never even should have been an issue. I would never say to my boyfriend's mom. Oh, I'm a vegan, which I'm not, and I'm going to have a leftover demon meat sandwich for breakfast. I'm saying to my boyfriend's mom, I don't eat the way 18 other people eat, so please accommodate me because I'm a princess. I agree with that. Snort some more Diet Coke. Oh, I need some demon meat. And wait a second. Princess or something? So wait a second. Then they decide that they are going to make accommodations for her. they unknowingly don't get it right. So why didn't she say to them, you know what, I really appreciate you going out of your way for me. I know that you're not familiar with a vegan diet. Here are some things that you might want to keep in mind. A, we don't eat butter. Yeah, for the future. But that day, because they messed up with the best intentions, you're going to make them feel bad? How did she make them feel bad? I don't know, being on the radio.
Whatever. Oh. She should have wore the V with pride, ate her apple pie, and shut up. You're all so mean. You're all mean. All of you. So what do you think, Skye? You're totally with her, and you think they should be punished, right? No, no. I think it sucks, and I think she has now probably learned a lesson that not everybody gets what being a vegan's all about, and she should probably just be prepared. It sucks. Again, I think her husband, there's a lot of talking that needs to happen because it sounds like he was being a jerk about the whole thing. P1 Rob, you there? Yeah, hi. Yeah, what's up, Mike? No, not that Rob. My P1 name's a P1 Psychic Rob. What's up, dude? These people hate this whack job. You're saying that the in-laws do? Yes, they want her out of the family. Now, what are you basing that on? Why is she a wacko? Because she's a vegan.
them to cater to her. Again, she doesn't expect it. They said they were going to do it. It sounds like she does. You sound like you do. Well, you know what? They're my family now, so they should step up. They want you out. I'm psychic. What are you going to do? P1 Drew, last call. Go ahead. Hey, I think she's unnecessarily attacking the family because there's a difference between a vegetarian and a vegan. Right. And unless you actually, one, you don't know the difference. because a vegetarian can eat stuff like honey, milk, butter, and stuff that's made from animal products, but not the animal itself, where a vegan is strictly against all animal products, period. Yeah, they made a mistake. They didn't know. Eddie didn't know. I didn't know. I mean, listen, they didn't know. Well, Sky knew, but not everybody does, and so they had the best intentions, and they messed up, and so, you know, you've got to give them a break, right, Sky? No. No, you do not. Okay. No, you do not. You do not have to give them a break. Well, Joanna. Have a good Christmas, Joanne. No, I'm not going there. Wow. You're not going to go? Okay, that's a little extreme, lady. You're not going to go to Christmas? No, I'm not going to their house. They were laughing at me. Whoa, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
No, should I subject myself to his uncle eating turkey off the bone like we're at the Renaissance Fair? Yes, you should. It's funny. Wait a second. That's a little much. Yeah. I'd say just go suck it up, but bring your own stuff. And you're saying you won't go to Christmas and eat with the family, but the only person that I heard that you said was laughing at you was your husband, who you live with. Yeah. So what's the deal there? You're contradicting yourself. Thank you. You know? I think you're pointing fingers the wrong way. I think you should be looking at your husband. Yeah, I think you should point that high-powered perception at yourself. Oh, right. Thank you for the call. Oh, boy. Aren't they great? Yeah, it's so warm. Hey, guys, guess what we're going to do next? What's up, man? We're going to eat each other's turkey sandwiches. And it's going to be turkey roulette because we're going to reach into a hat and pull out a name. And whatever name we get is the sandwich we got to eat. It's of the Mikey Show at rock1053.com. LOL. This is perfect timing. You got it all wrong, man. Really? A-Rod is not even a dude, man. A-Rod is not a dude? He is a cheapo. You can't say that. That's not true. I believe him.
Madonna pulled off her wig and she was no other than a cross-dressing Oscar de la Hoya. That's not true. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105.3. Oh, wait a minute. Yeah, I did. Sorry about that. I love this song. And I thought I was hitting a new one there. I don't know what happened. You know, there's controversy behind this song. Oh, yeah, that's right, Eddie. There is controversy behind this one. It's all in me. We're back. It is 8.06. Where am I? Two Walmart shoppers in New York that were injured in the Black Friday stampede that killed a man have filed a lawsuit against Walmart. He's back. Pac-Man Jones was activated by the Cowboys, and he's going to play this weekend. Eddie. Yeah. I'm suspicious. Of what? Well, we all had a job to do for this Thanksgiving deal here, this turkey sandwich tasting. Sandwich. Look.
You did stuffing. Looks delicious, by the way. Thank you. I was in charge of baking a turkey, which, by the way, I had to go buy a turkey yesterday and roast a turkey. Oh, you're the best. Prepare it. Well, it took a while, you know. Efficient. We told Sky. Shut up. What shut up? What is this? Are you about to attack me? I'm about to ask you before I attack. Ow, what's Rob got? Yeah. Dude. Sky was in charge of the homemade mashed potatoes. Made them in my home. It's like homemade ranch. I'm so good at homemade stuff. Let me see them. Where are the lumps? They're right in there. I don't know. Where are the lovely tato lumps? They're in there, bro. What are they?
Potatoes. They're mashed potatoes. What kind? The homemade kind? I don't know. How did you make them? With the stove. You did? Yeah. Tell us. What's the recipe? How do you do it? How long? You take some potatoes and you peel them and then you boil them. And then you put them in a dish. Yes. And then you mash them up with some butter, a little bit of milk, and some salt and pepper. Oh, well, that's his homemade mashed potatoes. That's what you did? What? Okay. See, that's where. Son of a. That's where things take a turn. I don't know what you're referring to. I was just handed a note. Oh, no. What's happening? I was just handed a note. What does the note say? What's going on? Well, we are warming up all the different fixings here, right? Uh-huh. And just got handed a note by Smashley from Promotions. And it says, hey, man. It's the best way to start a note. Hey, man. Breaker blew in the kitchen and only got one minute in on the turkey before the microwave shut off. I'm cool with that. What?
I actually prefer my turkey cold. All right, then we're good. Then we're good. Then we're good. Mine's supposed to be warm. All right, then we're good. You don't even use turkey. That's true. All right, whatever. She wants warm turkey, but she brought us Uncle Ben's mashed potatoes. Uncle Ben doesn't even make mashed potatoes. What are you talking about with me? Yes, they do. They make rice. They do potatoes, too, I think. Well, I wouldn't know. Oh, no. Skye, what kind are they? They're potatoes. You don't know? Did you make them? Can you? Her husband. She made her husband. She didn't even do anything. You're truly the worst person on earth. Instant mashed potatoes for us. Hey, everyone. Thank you, boo. What do you do all day? Horrespondence. Thank you, Eddie. That is brutal. Oh my gosh.
We are about to play a little turkey roulette. Oh, this isn't good. I'm excited. Well, the deal is, and it's being videotaped. We have pictures being taken, and we have a video camera in here, and we're videotaping it. So all this will be up on the website. Now, the deal is that we don't want to eat any of our sandwiches because we're grossed out by what everybody does. Big time. So here's Ashley. And Ashley doesn't care, man. She's like a feral cat. She doesn't care. She'll eat anything. Are you going to make yours? Why is she fixing her hair? When isn't she fixing her hair? Go get your stuff. Yeah, Ash. Go get your stuff. This is weak bread. So, Eddie, describe how you make yours. Mine is a very simple recipe, Mike. I get French bread, slice it, put turkey on it, mayonnaise. Mustard. Light mustard. We're not going too crazy here. Salt and pepper, and that's it. Boston Rob, very briefly, how is yours made? Everything, basically, on it, but there's no mayo mustard, nothing like that. And I make it with the sweet Hawaiian bread. You have to cut the Hawaiian bread yourself. And what is everything?
Mashed potatoes, stuffing, of course, the cranberry, turkey. If you've got corn on the cob, we'll throw that in there. Corn on the cob, by the way. Well, you shave it off. All right, I'm an idiot. White or dark meat? Oh, it has to be the white meat. Betty, white meat? White meat. Sky? French bread. I would prefer it to be toasted, but hey, whatever. Cranberry and a very small amount of warm white meat turkey. Is there more cranberry than turkey? I'd say it's probably an equal amount. Oh, what the? See? See what I got here? Oh, that is. Oh, my. I'm just waiting for my. Sky, Sky, Sky. Sky, Sky. Question. Now, is that the way that you would normally make it? Well, normally we run out of cranberry because I like it so much. But, yeah, if there's cranberry left, this is how I roll. That's a lot. That's ridiculous. Hold it up. Hold it up. Hold it up. And this is being videotaped. I'm a fan of that. See how yummy this looks? Seriously, I gotta say, it's probably like an inch thick of cranberry sauce. That's ridiculous. Yeah, and that's why you don't need mayonnaise or anything because this is fine. This is fine. This keeps it nice and... You're a fan of just that? I would do it. I love cranberry sauce. And I never eat.
Ashley's seriously looks like... That looks like a child. Dude, it looks like somebody's making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. For their kid. For their kid. See, they're very critical. Right? Ashley has wheat bread. Oh, and it's sweating like a... She really is. Oh, wow. She's sweating. Oh, man, look at the pits. Okay. Wow, we just put the camera right up in those pits. Oh, no, don't, no. She just melted the camera. Ashley has wheat bread on a paper plate. And on the wheat bread is very childlike looking. It looks like jam, but it's cranberry sauce. And there's cranberry sauce. And there's turkey. And then a little layer of mashed potatoes. A little layer of stuffing. Hurry up. Get that thing made. I'm posing for the camera and make your sandwich. You heard me. Where's Zed? Is Zed not playing? He's getting the turkey, I think. Zed's dead, baby. I knew that turkey. Where is the turkey? I put Zed's name in the hat, so we got to take it out. Zed, are you making one? I don't know. Oh, jeez. Nobody told me. Where's my salt and pepper? It's over there by the thing. You're the worst. Oh, come on, everybody. Skye is about to apply her turkey. Now, what we're going to do is everybody's making their own version of a leftover turkey sandwich. Everybody's doing that right now.
The instant mashed potatoes. That's so gross. She is smearing the instant mashed potatoes into the cranberry. They look great. Nobody said they were instant. Thank you. Just implied. And I am feeling queasy. Why? And then we're going to put all of our names into a hat. We're going to draw. And whoever's name we draw, we have to eat their sandwich. I hope I get my own. This is all being videotaped. Mr. Rules. This is all being videotaped. And you'll be able to see it at MikeyShow.com very soon. I think I might need more cranberry on mine. Eddie is salting and peppering and Sky is... applying the light turkey. Yeah, you need very specific pieces of the turkey because you don't want any skin, you don't want any fat in there. Skin is the best part, man. Honestly, Skye right now looks like she is playing the game Operation. Yeah.
She is very, very carefully selecting. And I'm not even going to be eating this, but still, it's, you know, I don't want to put somebody through that. Mine's ready. Thank you. You're not supposed to be eating it. You're not supposed to eat yet. Gosh, Ashley. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. What? Watch Rob. I don't know. He's about to. Oh, man, dude. Oh, dude, that is ridiculous. I like Rob. I like Rob. This is being videotaped. I know, dude. I know. What's happening? I don't want to eat that. Oh, yeah, you are. I think I need more cranberries. Rob, you're being for real, too, right? You're not doing, like, a bit and trying to be, like, that's how you'd eat that, right? Heck yeah, dude. What's the deal? Dude, Sean. He put half of the cranberry sauce on his sandwich. No exaggeration. You know how it comes in the can? Wait, this guy's putting more cranberry. What? She's putting more cranberry. Well, I have to compensate because the French bread is really thick, so I want to make sure it's moist. Oh, my gosh. Okay. How am I even going to eat? Like, how can you even eat that? Hey, Eddie, can you vamp while I make mine? Yeah. Yeah, sing and dance. Okay. First of all.
Whatever Rob is doing, I want no part of. Because he's not only making his sandwich, Sean, but he's doing it with his hands. Which is foul. He just put all that stuffing on with his hands, his fingers. Which he didn't wash. But there's the utensils right there. I no longer want his sandwich. No longer want his sandwich. And Rob is now putting the mashed potatoes on. That thing looks so foul. That sounds so disgusting. I cannot deal with you guys. I just need pepper and I'm good. It's right there. Oh, yeah. Did you put dark meat on yours, Ashley? Are you a dark meat? A mixture? A little of both. And Mike is a dark meat guy, so he's going to go for the dark meat, which I'm not afraid of. I don't want that. That's everything we got, right? Look for some corn on the cob. I'm good. Sky, that is like a... So you guys know, I'm putting mine together right now. So I'm putting the green bean casserole. There's green bean casserole? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm putting a little green bean casserole on the bread. And the bread is white bread that has been lightly dusted with Miracle Whip. Miracle Whip? Lightly dusted with Miracle Whip. As you guys know, I am a dark meat guy. I am a dark meat guy.
Did you buy that with food stamps? Yes, I do. What do you mean miracle with it? I do a hodgepodge sandwich, which means that it will have a little bit of everything from Thanksgiving in the sandwich. A little bit of everything. So you're kind of like Rob's, but Rob's is obnoxious. Yeah. Mine is a manwich. This is a healthy, hearty meal. Rob's is worth a giant. Dude, Skye, if you get that sandwich, how are you even going to bite into it? Let me see. That's half the fun. Take a picture of this, someone. Someone. That is ridiculous. That is so stupid. Oh, yeah. I've been done, by the way, making my sandwich for an hour. It has like two ingredients. I am not like Sky. I like skin. I love skin on my skin. This is a disaster. Rob, don't do that. You're going to make a mess of that. What, is he trying to cut it? He's going to cut it. You can't cut that thing. It's probably five inches thick. It is. No joke. So, Zed, did you take your name out of the hat? No, I didn't even know where the hat is. Oh. Somebody just punch him. What did I do? Nothing. That's the point. Does anybody have a knife? I've got a knife. Thank you. Crocodile Dundee. That's not a knife. You're so ridiculous, Ashley. Whose turkey skin is this? Can I just eat this? Ew, dude. You don't know where that came from. I don't care. It could have been Ashley's tits.
Do you want stuffing? Oh, do the stuffing, Mike. Do the stuffing. Don't be shy. This guy looks like a jelly sandwich. I know. I don't even see turkey in there. Mike, if that didn't have dark meat on it, I'd probably be into that. Really? Yeah. You know what? If we had some cream cheese, I would totally shut your face. Cream cheese. He said cream cheese. You know that traditional cream cheese turkey sandwich? A light spread. Why did you just do that? What is on me? You're weird. Oh, wow. Mike's now applying. Light cranberry sauce. Oh, Mike. Sean, what are you eating? Oh, if you worked at Subway, I would be yelling at you right now. I'm eating a cheese croissant. Because, don't be shy. Come on, don't be shy. A light spreading of cranberry sauce. Don't be shy. That's too light. Mike, that has Miracle Whip and cranberry sauce. And they're on top of each other. It's not like one side is Miracle Whip. It's Miracle Sauce. Okay, now. No, I will not create that. Oh! Yuck. Shut up and listen to my order. Are we all assembled? Wait, wait, wait. Guys, this is a big deal.
This is an important part. I squish it down. Okay, no. I squish it down. No. Why? Why? Not real hard. Why? If you're going to squish it, you've got to squish it hard. It needs to be firmly packed. Impacted? I am gross. And then I cut it diagonally. Of course. Like a boy. Like a little kid. Like a boy. All right, Cherry Jubilee, and that's it. That's it. That is it. No more. Because I'm trying to watch my figure. Dude, will you look at Sky's sandwich up close? It is like a little kid. Oh, my gosh. It is like a little kid made it. I hope I get my own. You're not allowed to pick your own. Who says Mr. Rules? All right. We're ready. We're ready. Now. This is what we're going to do. This is what we're going to do. This is what we're going to do. We're going to draw now. Eat after. So we're going to draw now. Let the audience soak in what disgustingness is going to happen from each of us.
And then we go for it. We come back, we go for it. That's right. But we're a little thrown off here because of Zed. See, Zed is not, I don't know why he didn't bring his sandwich, but now we don't have enough people. Now we have an odd number. I can make one. Do you have all your stuff that you would make your sandwich with? Yeah. What would you do? Why is he been sitting there for a half hour? I don't know, bro. I don't know. I ask. I say, hey, should I make a sandwich? Nobody answers. So, you know, whatever. You're in a soundproof room. What do you want? With no one in there. And with the microphone off, he's like, this is what it sounded like. And nobody answered. That's weird. And nobody answered. Why doesn't anybody like me? Seth, very briefly, what's on your sandwich? The white bread, the cranberry stuffing, the white meat turkey, and that's pretty much it. All right, get in here. Let's draw. Let's draw. No. Let's draw. Put this back in the hat then. No. Sorry. No. Ashley. She loves to vamp for the camera. She's so hungry. That's all she does. All she does is just sit and mug for the camera. Look at the camera and eat it.
By the way, this will all be posted on MikeyShow.com. I'm not eating Rob's. I cannot eat Rob's. Okay. You guys ready to draw? Yes. Draw. Draw. Draw. Draw. Draw. Draw. Oh, gross. Here we go. I don't want Ashley's or Rob's. Of course, guys. I don't want Rob's zest or Mikey's. I'm mixing. I'm mixing. I'm mixing. I'm mixing. All right, here we go. I'm reaching. I've pulled one. I'm handing it over. Take the whole hat and pass it around. I'm going to tell you who I got. I go last. I just drew Eddie. Oh, man. I don't know about it. I am safe. I am safe. Life is good. What up, dude? Eddie, who'd you draw? The first Eddie says. Oh, Eddie just said a word that we can't. He just mouthed the word. Boston. That's awesome. This sandwich is designed for a man. It's filthy. Designed for a man. It's just a mound. It's a mound of cranberry sauce. I'm going to throw up. I can't eat that. We'll each take a bite from one end. Lady and the Tramp. Yes, Lady and the Tramp. Ashley, who'd you get? I hope she gets mine. She said she doesn't want mine. I don't want yours either. Yes!
I didn't want Mike's Miracle Whip, and I don't want your mustard. You're going to love it. You're going to love it. You're going to love it. You're going to love it. Oh, no. What do you got? Yes, yes, yes. Oh, yuck. Sky's got? You got mine. Sky. No, you can't choose your one. Hey, it's a random draw, bro. If you win the lottery, do they go, oh, no. No, you can't win. Hey, Skye. I don't know. Skye, the only thing you've lucked out on, because he basically makes my sandwich, only thing you lucked out on is it's not dark meat, it's white meat. And he doesn't put mashed potatoes or mayonnaise on his. Good. One, two, three. When we come back. You're happy about this? When we come back. Oh, he's making it right now. I'm mad at it yet. When we come back. I can't eat raw. We got it to June. It's so. It's so filthy. We do this next. The Mikey Show is on. So I'm on my way to work, and I hear the siren call of the coffee maker. And so we figured we would send Boston Rob down to the mall. The mall. The mall. The mall. Have you done any holiday shopping at all? A little bit online. Just a little bit online? You making some purchases? You got a big family? No, just four of us. Just four? No. You want some suggestions that maybe some of your family members might like? Yeah, that would be great. Okay, so my first one is maybe the Ben Roethlisberger Power Wheels motorcycle. It comes without the helmet. Okay. What is the matter with you? Two-year-old joke's still funny. Mikey's show continues. Is that what he says? Yeah, he does eventually. I guess not right there. Here it goes, Mike. Not yet. Wait for it. Does he say what I said in there somewhere? Yeah. Just another heart and need a rescue. Eventually. Here it comes. Yeah, this is it right here, he says. Well, I guess he doesn't. It's eight for now. Director Roman Polanski filed a request in Los Angeles to have the child's sex charges against him dismissed. And hunk Robin Oban agrees. No.
Another blow for the Padres trying to trade Jake Peavy. Atlanta trades for White Sox pitcher Javier Vasquez, so that probably means they don't need Peavy now. Oh, wow. Come to Boston. Flipping a red hair. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. It is time to do this. Reminds me of that picture. Oh, my gosh. Let's talk about our pictures from 92. Yeah. Eddie and me. I'm morbidly obese. Stop saying that. You have to know before you go there. It's a good look for you. I think so, too. I think so, too. The XXXXXL sweatshirt. XXXX. Okay. We are about to try each other's turkey sandwiches. I will not. You have to. Look at this. Yeah, you're Mr. Roll. Yeah, dude.
I watch a lot of Food Network, so you'll be able to probably notice. You're so grossed out. Oh, it's a sloppy Thanksgiving. Let's go around the room and say whose sandwich we drew. It was turkey roulette. I drew Eddie's. I drew Boston Rob's. Eddie drew Boston Rob's. Say your name and who you drew. My name is Ashley, and I drew Mikey's. Thank you. My name is Boston Rob. I drew Ashley's. Oh. Hi, I'm Sky. What's happening? Oh, what's happening? And I drew Zeth. All right. I'll start. Zeth's on the show, bro. What's that? That tickled her. That tickled her. What do you need, Rob? Napkins. Zeth. I'm eating skies. All right. I'll start. You're going to enjoy this. Is that Josh Lund? Come on in. Come on in, buddy. You're going to enjoy this. Josh Lund's hanging out. Mustard brings out the flavor of turkey. I believe you. Thank you. Mustard gives you cancer. Eddie was so freaked out when we were in commercial. He said his mouth was watering in grossness. Yeah, I'm going to throw up. Take a napkin, bro. All right, I'm going to try Eddie's sandwich. No. Take a big bite. Just turkey and mustard? Yeah, you tell me.
Turkey, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. And you believe that I should take a big bite? Absolutely. Yeah, turkey. Jump right in there, Mike. Yeah, go in the deep end. I'm not used to eating a sandwich on French bread. Yeah, you'll like that. Oh, the French bread is good. And I'm not used to eating a sandwich with mustard like this. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing. Here we go. Do it. You're a brave man. Do it. Here we go. Do it. Oh, good. Holy cow. Yeah, buddy. You ain't joking. Sounds good. Crunchy bread. That's fresh, fresh, fresh. I don't like it. Okay. I love it. That's stupid. I love it. Yeah, dude. I ain't playing. You want to know what that tastes like? Like I bought it at a professional, like I bought it somewhere. You're welcome. You don't have to lie. You've been your best friend for many years. He's not going to leave you now. No. Okay. I'll give my criticism. I'll give my criticism. Thank you. My only criticism is.
It's so professional. Oh, shut up. No, no, no, seriously. Too beautiful to eat. No, no, no, listen. It's not very Thanksgiving-y to me. It's like going in and ordering a turkey sandwich. Absolutely. Delicious. Thank you. You've got to lose points for that. It's delicious. I win. No, you lose. I don't like it. I love it. Yes. Dude, it's great. That is great. Yeah. That was really good. I thought you were going to hate it. No, no, no. I like it. But it's like a pro turkey sandwich. You walk in a restaurant and you go, I'll take a turkey sandwich. Deli style. Yeah, it's deli style. It's good. I want winners. Eddie, you're next. Eddie. Who's next? Eddie. You are. Mr. Rules. Eddie is next. Go ahead, Mr. Rules. Eddie is about to eat. Let me describe it. Boston Rob took Hawaiian bread. It's the big round loaf. He had to cut the pieces by hand, you know, because it's a big, giant loaf. And inside of it is a mound. I'm talking like a two-inch mound of cranberry sauce. Goodness. With white meat turkey. A lot of turkey. Mashed potatoes. A lot of potatoes. Green bean casserole. Hey, maybe you'll have the mic reaction.
Hey, the camera can see you right now. A lot of stuffing in there. Stuffing and it looks like instant mashed potatoes made by Mr. Sky. You don't know that. I don't know that for a fact. A sprinkle of pepper just for some fun in the sun. You may love it. Eddie, what if you like it? I'm not going to. You don't know that. I can't even get my mouth around this thing, Mike. It's giant. What about that sandwich? No. Eddie, what about that sandwich have you never had? Everything. Every part of it? The way you're eating the turkey sandwich for me is how I make it every year. I've never had cranberry or anything like that on a turkey sandwich before, ever. This is crazy. With turkey? I know. You know, Eddie, I'm all about trying new things. I think you should take my advice and get that. Just rubbing that in. Yeah, dude. There he goes. I saw him use his fingers. Oh, that's right. Get in there. You got to get dirty, dude. Like your hands? He's got it. Dude, it's like, it's serious. Eddie just picked it up and cranberry sauce fell onto his hand. Out of the sandwich. It weighs like a pound. That's right, man. He's holding it. He just squished it a little bit. That's a man meal. He's about to take a big bite. Oh, it's hiding in there. Hey, Rob, should he take, how do you suggest? Big bite, small bite, what? Oh, big bite. As much as you can. Make sure you go. Just do it already. You shut up. Come on, here he goes.
He's salivating because he's so grossed out. Here it goes. Big bite. He's biting down. A giant piece of skin. A giant piece of skin hung out on his lips. He had to bite it in. Now my mouth is starting to water. I'm getting hungry. How are you feeling? It looks so good. Look at him wincing in happiness. I don't know, dude. Wincing in joy. Yeah. I don't know about this. He's got a look on his face like he... No, no. He just shook his head no. He just shook his head no. Did it need cheese? I think that's what he was thinking. Talk to me, Eddie. It needed cheese. Here's the problem. Okay. There's so much going on in that sandwich. It's weird, man. Oh, wow. I'll tell you what I hated. What? The mashed potatoes. No offense. Well, they're instant. It had nothing to do with how they were made. Oh, they're so good. It's just like the taste of them in there and the dryness of the potatoes. You know how potatoes are kind of, I don't know, like starchy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hated it. The starchiness. That was my instant bite. I hated that flavor in there.
The cranberry and the turkey, I actually thought was okay. Thank you. I thought that was okay. Try my sandwich. Stuffing was okay. The casserole was gross. Like, it was cold. It's cold. Yeah, it got cold. So, like, it immediately grossed me out. Ashley has that to look forward to. Oh. And I hated the Hawaiian bread. Hated it. What? It's sweet, right? It's sweet. And, like, it was weird. It was like a turkey sandwich and a cinnamon roll. I might try that. And some frosting for it. Gross. Yeah, I will never, ever eat that in a million years. It's all yours, buddy. That is foul. You don't know. I'll put cheese on it. Ashley, you're up. You're eating my sandwich. And my sandwich is made from white bread with a light dusting. Stop saying dusting. Of Miracle Whip salad dressing. With stuffing, green bean casserole, cold. Is that how you make it? No, no, no. I use it hot, but time has gone by, so it's chill. Normally it's hot, though. Yeah, but normally it's hot. I'm going to take that into consideration. Take it into consideration. I mean, only a hint of cranberry on there. And dark meat turkey. I've only known my deceased grandmother to eat Miracle Whip before. Really? I don't know any person that eats Miracle Whip. I love it. It's got a tanginess to it. It's a tanginess. So you're about to experience tang.
And I cut it in a diagonal line. I appreciate it. I'm not going to lie. Other than the Miracle Whip, it doesn't look bad. I'm either going to love it or hate it. Ashley's showing it to the camera. And the green bean casserole. And the green bean casserole. She's taking it. Hey, lady. Hey, lady. You are a clown. We are going to YouTube this. She's pulling the turkey away. Pulling the turkey away. She's chewing. Now she's dabbing the side of her mouth. Dabbing the side of her mouth. I can't believe you're single. With a napkin. Not cool. Half of the sandwich she put in her mouth. She's chewing, trying not to laugh. One finger salute. It was a compliment. You're funny. We have a problem. Oh, no. You can't spit it out. I like gristle, if that's what you're talking about. Oh, my God. What? The bread is stuck to the roof of my mouth. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That happens. It's a part of the good dream.
Ew. I'm not kidding. It knocked to the roof of my mouth. The Wonder Bread is so thin. I'll put the pen down. Love that, right? That's good. That tastes good, right? Uh-oh. Oh, no. She's trying to pull it out of her teeth. That bread, Mike. It's all about the bread? Listen, that was all the bread that was available. Although it would have been the exact same way if it had been the other stuff. What do you think, Ash? You love it? Oh, she finally got it off the roof of her mouth. Okay. Look at those pits. Wow. Well, it was delicious. Really? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. It was delicious. Yeah, yeah. Except for the bread. I would have preferred... She didn't like it. She didn't like it. All over my mouth right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would prefer it to be a thicker bread or perhaps even slightly toasted so that it's not so soggy. No, I hear you, but that's wrong. But the flavors were good? Flavors were great. Miracle Whip?
It was delicious. She liked it. There was so much going on in there, I don't even know that I necessarily was like, oh, that's the Miracle Whip. I just was like enjoying the plethora. Oh, it was a light dusting. Yeah, it was a light dusting of the Miracle Whip. But the plethora of the ingredients, the combination, was delicious. Thank you. Just that bread was a little soggy. Bee rub. Who you got? Mine. I got ash. Oh, dude. Describe it. Describe it. Well, it's wheat bread. Ew. Wrong. And what I can see. I do. I do. Support me. From what it looks like, it's like a lot of mashed potatoes and turkey, and I can't really see the other stuff. Okay, so there is some stuffing on the bottom, and remember, she did like a, well, if she, if you were like preparing a PB&J for a little kid, and they spread the jelly on the bread first, that's exactly how she did like the cranberry. Right. It's whole wheat bread, cranberry. Whole wheat. Whole wheat. Whole wheat. Oh, what? Oh, sweet. Bread and turkey, both dark and white, and then a thin layer of mashed potatoes. Thin layer of the cranberry sauce on both sides. And stuffing? A little bit of pepper and some stuffing. So, Rob, you'll probably like this. Yeah, I'm a fan of... Here he goes. Oh, he's biting a big bite. Oh, he jammed it in his mouth. Not as big as Ashley's, but... This is the classier version of your sandwich. Oh, wow, his mouth is packed. It is. You know you love it. Talk about it.
It's free food, Ashley. Yeah, that is a good one. That was good. Oh, you like it? That was good. Oh, look at that. Put your arms down. Wow. Yeah, I wouldn't lift your arms down. I love the wheat. Really? I love the mixture of everything. Yeah, I love it. Wheat is very Thanksgiving-y. That's where it's derived from. I just want to say, by the way, Eddie, I've officially switched to French bread. Really? Oh, yeah. Yeah, French bread is the most. I want it my way, but I want my stuff in there, but I do. Oh, yeah. This is good. That French bread is money. Get rid of Wonder Bread. Yeah, Wonder Bread's stupid. I suggest everyone take a bite of this. I can pass this around. Yeah, Sky, you want to take a bite of that? No, no. Wow. Sky's next. Impressive. Okay, so I'm eating Zed's. We have white bread with stuffing, white meat, turkey, and a very small amount of cranberry. Look at that. Hold on. Hold it up. That's how you eat it. I swear. I swear. It looks like a four-year-old. It really does. I think my son Jake made that. Oh, and there's a hair. Just a little piece of hair. A little hair in there. Okay. Stop it. Beard hair. That's the extra flavor. Okay, I'm not a fan already because I've picked it up and I feel moistness on the bottom side of the sticky. Kind of doughy. Yeah. Doughy. Great word. Kind of like, yeah. Like, look at my hands. They got like sticky. Yeah, it's like she's got a tossed pizza dough. Yeah. And there's way too much turkey in there for you. Yeah.
Like, look at that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. See? What's going on back there? But whatever. Okay, whatever. Here she goes. She's taking a bite. Oh, good bite. Good bite, Skye. Oh, there's skin. Skin. Skin. Skin. Oh, she's got a lot of skin. She's eating skin. Oh, she's eating skin. Do you love it? She hates skin. Do you love it? Maybe she'll like it. Maybe she'll like it. Do you love it? No, no. So disgusting. Do you love it? Imagine it's ham. This guy. Oh, no. Is it honey baked skin? If I was at home, I would have spit that bite out. Because of the skin. Oh, get over yourself. Oh, she is so gross. Hey, drama king, it took you 50 minutes to take one bite. Did you see the sandwich I had to eat? Wow. So I'm sorry, Zed. If you maybe would have trimmed the meat a little better, I might have been in. But with that skin, it ruined everything. Smashley, did you get good pictures of that face? Dude, the face Sky made is priceless. Zed, try Sky. Oh, look at this. Oh, that's gross. That is a ridiculous sandwich. Describe it, Zed. It's a big piece of French bread.
You notice how she cut it and how I cut it? Look at the difference. I like to keep it attached on the end. Genius way of cutting it. She didn't cut the pieces in half. It's hinged, the French bread. This is foolish. It's hinged. You're going to get mostly bread. You get maximum crust. But you don't need that much bread. But she's got a gigantic amount of cranberry sauce, like so thick. It's 90% cranberry sauce. And then absolutely no condiments of any kind. No flavor. And then just white meat turkey with all the skin picked off. Very light. Small amount. It's like... Probably three to one bread to actually things inside of it. All right, Zed, take a bite. Chunks of jelly. I want a bite. Guys coming off USS Indianapolis wouldn't have eaten it. The sharks would have passed. Yes. Oh, Zed just took a big, giant bite. He's chewing. He's chewing. Wait for it. He's chewing. Wait for it. Don't be a jackass. Be real, too. Yeah. I know how you are. I know how you are, too. Yeah, funny man. Come on, beard. Cranberry beard. Cranberry beard. No. It was good.
I mean, I don't agree with the bread choice, but other than that, simple, but it was good. One very dry. Not too much cranberry? No, it kind of, I like cranberry. It's a cranberry sandwich. Listen, we are going to post this video at MikeyShow.com so you'll be able to see this. You got to see the pictures. The pictures will be posted really quick and we'll tell you when all this stuff is available. It's going to be great. Oh my gosh. He's eating the candy. Back to the Mikey Show. I try not to. You guys know me. I'm the most practical person in the sky. Well, I enjoy spicy food. Sean, I'm always one who has to save. I always want to save.
Austin Robb. I thought I was being as gay as I could get. Okay, get a little gayer. And Ashley. That's me. Don't make the retarded Juliette Lewis. The Mikey Show's on 5-3. New York City, I'm a thousand miles of a girl tonight. You look so pretty. Welcome back. It's nine. Grammy nominations will be announced tonight on CBS during their first ever Grammy nomination concert. that somebody should probably ask where Plaxco was because Giants wide receiver Steve Smith was robbed at gunpoint at his house. Oh, was it a butter gun? I don't know. We'll have to investigate. Those butter guns. Yeah. Welcome back. Oh man, I'm stuffed. I can't eat anymore. And you know what, Eddie? I tried to make the sandwich that you made and it's not as good. Really? I'll teach you.
Yeah. Eddie taught me a new way to make sandwich. It's good, man. What's that? That was my stomach. From that foul sandwich you made. Foul, get out of here, dude. So gross, dude. How did I get that straw? Get out of here. All right. Oh, my God. We got a lot of stuff to tell you about. Blackout's been lifted on the Charger Raider game. That's a thing. Yippee. Oh, yay. The San Diego City Council is banning a bunch of cars being on the streets. Pac-Man Jones is going to be activated for the Cowboys. Yippee! I love the NFL. I know it. Brittany celebrated her 27th birthday last night in New York City.
Yeah, she started off the morning on Good Morning America, performing two of her songs, the song Circus, as well as Womanizer. Kind of weird. Celebrities like Hugh Jackman and Reese Witherspoon. Hugh Jackman. And Taylor Swift all submitted, you know, videotape happy birthday wishes to Britney. Cut 14. Others want to wish you a happy birthday, beginning with the reigning sexiest man alive, Hugh Jackman. Huge, huge Jackman. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear Brittany. Happy birthday to you. I know we never met. Happy birthday, Brittany. It's a lot for me. Hi, Brittany. I just want to say happy birthday. Happy 27. You look great, and I hope you have a great day. Hey, Brittany. This is Taylor. I just wanted to say happy birthday, and I've been such a huge fan forever. Dr. Taylor Hicks.
I got a picture with you at the VMAs. I absolutely love you, and I'm so excited about the new album. What I've heard so far is amazing, and you have officially been awesome for 27 years. 27 years. Yeah, and then that night, Britney had a big party in New York at some club, and the whole club was turned into a circus, and Britney showed up a little late and was wearing a top where her breasts were very protruding. Send me the link. Does she have a boob job, Britney Spears? That has been argued for centuries, Mike. It has. Yes, centuries. I believe, yes. I gotta say, when I was watching the Britney for the Record, like, they had a pre-show, and she was there, and they were interviewing her and stuff, and she had a shirt on, and, I mean, her breasts were perfect. They were like, because it was a V-cut shirt all the way down, almost to, like, her belly button. Oh, wow. And her breasts were perfect. I mean, they were up and they were like, they look like they weren't. Yeah, like gravity. No, you know, two kids. I mean, your boobs are huge. They were just popping. They were right there. $20,000. They looked perfect. See, I got mine at TJ, but it was like two grand. Oh, well, that's a deal. That's a deal. I was just going to get one done for a thousand.
But they were like, if you do the other one, senor, we throw it in. That's cool. Two for one. That's cool. So I got a two for one. So happy birthday. Yep. Let's see. Would you like to do a little bit of this? No. Come on. This is, by definition, this is what, if you ever wondered, what does the phrase hit or miss mean? So true. If you've ever wondered, what does hit or miss mean? This is a great call. It's Sean TV. See, Sean TV is hit or miss. But he's only hit like one time. That's true. One time he played Tim and Eric. Yeah, we loved it. And we loved it.
But other than that, he always plays, he introduces us to the TV show. And so it begs the question, why do you keep doing it then? Great question. I've honestly written many people and asked, should we keep doing this bit? It's a true statement. Should we keep doing this bit? Because it is what they call hit or miss. Sean Roulette. It is like Sean Roulette. And we continue to do it because I really believe that there will be a hit. I wrote an article about it in Radio Journal Weekly. You did? Yeah. It's my favorite. And wrote about it and got a lot of response from it. And most of the response was like, you know, what's up? Yeah. So what does that mean? Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Well, of all of the weekly journals that I subscribe to, I would have to say that's my favorite as well. Oh, Sean just said that. Where did he go? Sean, where are you? Where is Sean? Seanathan? Sign back on. Let me see you. If it's so terrible, if it's so hit or miss, let's move on to something that isn't hit or miss. Today may be a hit. Doubtful. Depends on what era. What are you going to introduce us to today, Sean? Well, Mike.
It's round three. Gosh, this is really difficult. Well, you know, I'm just... It's going to be a hit, Sean. It's going to be a hit. Think of it that way. I'll try to stay positive. I'll try to stay positive. I am, but I'm not. I'll try to stay positive. Okay, so, yeah, Mike, we are starting season three of American Ninja. Yes! And, Mike, you may all recall that we talked about American Ninja last year. It was season two of American Ninja. This is the contest where people from not just America, but also from Japan compete in feats of strength and agility. Can you please let me speak? where they compete in feats of strength and agility to be the ultimate ninja warrior. Excuse me. Excuse me. If you've already introduced us to the show, why are we doing it again? We are in season three now. And this time, Mike, I have trimmed the fat, and I am only going to present to you the American contestants this time. All right. Only the Americans.
Let me hear it. This mic is Levi. Oh, man. Levi. He won The Apprentice. Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? Someone else be robbed, too. Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? This mic is Levi Muhlenberg. Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? Can I please? This is Levi Muhlenberg, and he is the favorite as he takes on the first part. Of the three-part American Ninja course. Get to it. It's Japanese. Japanese, eh? Now, check this out. You can't see it. Here we go. Here we go. Hold on. He's looking at it. He can see if the audience can't see it. I don't know what he's close to. And that was all Japanese. There wasn't any English. He knows what he's doing. Well, you know, why don't we go ahead and move on to the next contestant? Why don't we move on to Mark Whitmire? You might remember that last year he was bested by Muenberg. This is his chance to make a comeback. Let's see what happens.
Buddy, they're just giving them American names, but they're actually Japanese people. He's so stupid. And it's all in Japanese. He's got it. I don't like his grip. I don't like his grip. I can't see his grip. I can't see it. Unbelievable. Oh, man. I mean, what was that, like 15 seconds and he was out? I don't know. Oh, wow. Can you do something? This season isn't without a history-making moment. This is the only female American contestant in the contest. It doesn't matter. We can't see her. You don't understand anything they're saying. What's her name? Lucy Romberg. And you won't believe what you're about to see. What is it? No one gets it. Amazing show, I agree. It's an amazing show. I didn't say it was amazing. Mike, it's American Ninja. It's on the G4 Network. I'll see you there. You won't. You're a jerk. Ladies and gentlemen, the swan song for Sean TV. The last Sean TV ever heard on the radio. Get it while you can, ladies and gentlemen. That was so weird.
I don't even know what to say because it was so weird. 5701053. Mikey's Show. Why can't you just have a call for everyone else? Fuck. Well, went to the special screening of it last night. Doesn't open until Christmas. Really? I'm big time. You're rolling big time. Yeah, I videotaped it. I'll show you guys later. That's totally Leo. Yeah, that's cool. Okay, well, it's a crazy story. It's based on a true story. I had no idea that there were so many people. That was in the eyepatch. I had no idea there were so many people in the German army and the higher ups that wanted Hitler out. I didn't either. Yeah. Apparently, you know, not all of them were Nazis. Some of them were really, you know, they didn't believe in what Hitler was doing. And they tried to assassinate him 15 times. Are you serious? And they failed every time. Will you give the whole movie away if you tell us why or how they failed? Not really. I mean, they just weren't successful. Like one time, and this is in the beginning part of the movie, they put these like liquor bottles on Hitler's plane and they were set to go off. But because of the altitude and how cold it was, they didn't explode. And so he survived. Yeah. So it was crazy. That's a trip. Yeah. And this whole story is based on the last and final assassination attempt by a big group of like army.
like generals and colonels and stuff like that. And it's a really fascinating story. The one thing I have to say about it is Bryan Singer, the director, I guess, decided I'm not even going to bother with German accents. So what we're going to do is the beginning of the movie, Tom Cruise speaks in German. And then it fades into his normal voice. I like that. And they kind of just say, well, here's the deal. Here's like everybody's going to speak English. Didn't you tell me, somebody said to me, I thought it was you, Eddie, but somebody said to me, I hope they do it like they, oh, it was my brother. My brother said, I hope they do it like the hunt for Red October where the camera moves in on their mouth and they're speaking German and then it pans out and they're speaking English. It's kind of like that because he speaks German and then they like fade it. out and fade in his normal voice. So they're, like, telling you, okay, here's how we're telling you the story. And all the actors, like, nobody does it, not even Hitler, does, like, a German accent. So, I mean, it's kind of distracting, but if you're okay with that, then... Do they do a... Do they speak... No, no accent. It's Tom Cruise talking like Tom Cruise. Get out of here.
Yeah. And Hitler's, like, talking in an American accent? Kind of. He has, like, an English accent. He's got, like, some sort of affectation on his voice. I wouldn't say it's, like, German, but it's a trip, you know? And if you're okay with that, then, you know, the story's awesome. It's a great story. Yeah, I give it a thumbs up. And how was Tom Cruise? Pretty good. Short. He's got some aspects I can't really give away that's kind of distracting too. But I mean, he was alright. I think the other actors were really good. The only thing is because they're not speaking in German, I'm not really thinking like I'm watching Germany. I just think I'm watching Europe. So it's kind of weird in that way. What are... Our thoughts on The Day the Earth Stood Still. Oh, yes. Awesome. I saw another commercial for that last night. I will pass. I think I will pass. Yeah. I'm all set. I will definitely rent it. Yeah, it looks like a straight-to-DVD for me. Can you say that again? The Day the Earth Stood Still? Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves, and it looks like a bunch of special effects. To me, it looks like too much special effects. Yeah, I saw the commercial after you said that. No such thing. No such thing. Has anyone seen the original or no?
No. The what? It was like a movie that came out in like the 50s. Huh? Yeah. They have movies in the 50s? Wrong. Take it easy, guys. Good for them, by the way. Who's calling in? I don't know. What? Oh, well, hello. This is Katherine Hepburn. Katherine Hepburn, we haven't heard from you in years. Yes, yes, that's true. That's true. Catherine Hepburn. I was just listening to the radio right now and heard you talking about this film, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and I heard you talking about it, and it sounded delightful to me. Now you realize it's a remake, right, Catherine? Yes, I do realize it's a remake, and I can tell you this. When the earth will stand still, I'll tell you when the earth will stand still. It's the day that they'll let a woman.
into the polling booth to vote for a black man. That is the day that the Earth will stand still. Yeah, I think it would freak her out. I can only imagine the consequences of that. I mean, that's like finding out Rock Hudson is gay. Oh, well, you probably shouldn't. Forget it. You know, you guys, I remember when women could pay a man three wooden pennies to let her speak her mind. I miss those days, huh? No, opposites. And it only cost two buffalo nickels if she wanted him to listen. That's strange. You guys. Yes, Captain Hepburn. Someone told me the other day that we're going to have a black present. And when I heard that, I tilted my head back and I laughed and laughed and laughed. Why would you laugh? I'll tell you something. I haven't had a good laugh like that since Ernest Borgnine took me to see Charlie Chaplin on the Nickelodeon. She's from a different time. Very different. I love the little tram. And Charlie Chaplin, too.
By the way, this is Catherine M. We know. What kind of name is Barack Obama, anyway? I mean, it sounds like something you'd get if a shithaw had sex with a set of bags. You know, I was just talking to my driver, Stanley, about remaking Bringing Up Baby. Really? One of your old movies? Yes. But then I realized that all the women in Hollywood these days couldn't act their way out of a traffic ticket. That's not very nice. All they can do is show their Botox and fake man-charmers, really. Man-charmers? Stanley, stop driving like you're Errol Flynn or something. Slow down with the speed limit. He's breaking the speed limit. The speed limit's 15 miles per hour, Stanley. It's been a long time since.
Hey, guys. Yes. It's just us girls talking, right? Sure. Did I ever tell you how I despised Ginger Rogers? Really? Oh, my God. I didn't know that. That woman is incorrigible. She once was in a big dance number with Fred Astaire and past wind. That's true. That's true. That's true. She stunk up the entire set, and production had to be shut down for dinner. That's a true story. That's not a true story. That sounds like jealousy talk. Yes. The Day the Oaths Just Sealed. That's what you were talking about, right? Yeah, about 20 minutes ago. That's right. You know, the truth is, I was present at the screening of the original film. Is that right? Yes, that is true. It coincided with my... Now, this was 1951, if I believe you. It coincided with my 64th birthday. Oh, my God. Now, you must, Eddie, Eddie, you must understand that this was bad.
before the days of Plaxico birth and concealing a weapon. It was still legal, you see, to conceal a weapon. What about a butter gun? Yes, that was actually legal, too. Prohibition? In fact, the day that I was at the screening of The Day the Earth Stood Still, I was holding for a friend who was a dear friend of mine. Her name was Martha, and I was holding a pistol for her. Well, no, during that time, since it was legal to strap, I pulled that sucker out of my pocketbook and just started firing into the ceiling. Well, Martha started crying about this time, and I just couldn't stop. Oh, my gosh. That is really weird. That's what happened. You know, my father once had a saying, and it went something like this. He said, you know, if you hunt something, you must eat it. So if you all happen to catch a rodeo clown during the holidays, dress it on the spot and save the giblets, because that is just crazy about that. She's a little old. You've lost your mind, Patrick. I don't even know what that means. You know, listen, now that I have you,
on the line. I want to make some announcements and get my proper credit for a few things that I've invented. Okay. Rob, listen up. Whoopie cushions, corkscrews, flavored toothpicks, adult diapers, cufflinks, midgets, and pterodactyls. Midgets? No, pterodactyls. Catherine. OS, guys, gotta run. I'm up next on Guitar Hero. Wow. Maybe that's why we haven't heard from her. That's different. Just a trip. Yeah, guys, I was eating that turkey sandwich. Is there a little rodeo clown in there? Did you call them and get a great deal on car insurance? Actually, yeah. I just got in a car accident maybe two months ago. And when my car insurance finally got everything in order, they wanted to raise my car insurance up to like $5.50 a month. So two nights ago, I called AIS. to get everything squared away with them. And they actually dropped me down to $212 a month. So they saved me like $330 a month. Holy cow. It's like $4,000 a year. I couldn't believe it. I don't know how to thank you enough. The Mikey Show continues featuring Mikey. I love cars. Eddie. I think I'm immune to Captain Morgan's now. Sky. I am the Google Oracle. Sean. I think about death all the time. Boston Rob. I'm getting real big into jiu-jitsu. And Ashley. I want to eventually join a hip-hop group and, like, perform on the weekends. The Mikey Show's on. Rock 105.3.
It's a Mikey show. It is 933. Two Walmart shoppers in New York that were injured in the Black Friday stampede that ended up killing a man. Well, they have filed a lawsuit against Walmart. The Giants fined and suspended Plaxico Burris for the rest of the season. They even placed him on IR, so that means he can't even come back for the playoffs. Oh, wow. That's right. Speaking of going at it, they're going to be going at it in the finale of Ultimate Fighter. Oh, yeah. In Vegas. And we're going to go. I already talked to a couple of P1s that are just going to go. Really? Yep. Huge. And so if you want to just roll up there, you can. You can watch us do our live broadcast there a week from Friday. Where at? The Palm Resort and Casino. Snap it. I'm so excited. Somebody snap it. I'm looking forward. I'm so excited. Somebody snap it. I'm excited.
Good job. Oh, this guy's trying to snap. This guy snapped it. I'm not a very loud snapper. Well, if you want to go for free, two trips will be given away. Airfare, tickets to the show, to the fight. All you need to do is go register at Beverages and More in La Mesa or Encinitas. You talking BevMo? I'm talking BevMo. Love me some BevMo. What? You'll be talking BevMo? Can I get a one? What? And what again? A little much. The what again. So come with us. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be a lot of fun. Ashley's taking her friend Pippet. Pippet! Pippet! Come on, Pippet! Are we going to like her? Are we going to like Pippet? You're going to love her. Eddie's shaking his head no. Eddie's shaking his head no. We will not. I just have a bad feeling about her. Eddie has a bad feeling. Eddie, will I like her specifically? No. I will not. Out of everybody. Out of everybody. You're going to love her. I despise her the most. You're going to love her. You're going to love her. You're not going to know what to do with yourself. You're going to love her so much. Well, you've made a bold statement. That is quite a statement. That is a bold statement. Hey, has anybody heard of Shatner's new show, Raw Nerve? No. Talk about it. Yeah, I did read about this. Dude. Yeah.
Why did Sean give us American Ninja when raw nerve is out there? Thank you. Well, I actually thought about that, believe it or not. Is it on TV? Yeah. Like right now? Yeah. Sean, okay, I listen to the audio clips. Yeah. And I can't figure out if there's a, it sounds like there's no studio audience. No. So it's just Shatner interviewing people one-on-one? Correct. It's so trippy, dude. Oh, he's a weirdo, man. He totally is. So I'm listening to these clips. I know, because Sean loves him. I do love him, but I know he's odd. Yeah, dude, he's totally odd. Which, I guess that's why they gave him an interview show. And he interviews Valerie Bertinelli, who surprisingly, I think, is very, like... Is she, like, game for it? Well, she's a guest, you know, and... But I thought that she was surprisingly candid and almost like she's kind of figuring some stuff out. I don't know. Listen, cut 18. Give me a sin. Tell me a sin. I committed adultery. Is not the fact that you were desperately unhappy searching for the things that you were searching for? Or is it not the fact that I was in my 20s?
You can immediately hear, by the way, that he is trying to justify the adultery. But it's not the fact. So good. Unpause. Or is it not the fact that I was in my 20s? Excuse the fact? No, I committed adultery and it was wrong. It was very, very wrong. And it was hurtful. And I hurt people because of it. That was bad. Now, knowing what I know, I know that will never happen. What were the forces? Pause. I would think. Stop it. Okay, so you cheated on him, but wasn't the guy good looking? Were you on drugs? Yeah. Oh my gosh. Tell me why. Really. Wasn't an alien being? Wait, why would it be an alien? She had three arms. And green. Does it matter? Yeah, I would think. But you can't make an excuse like saying, well, I was drinking, I was on drugs, and I was upset because I wasn't getting what I wanted at home. It's all bullshit. If you make a choice to do something you know is going to be hurtful, then you have to own up to it and say, this is my responsibility. You can't blame anybody else for your own actions. I'm not thinking of blame so much of somebody else, of forgiving yourself because the force is implied. I've gotten there.
I used to say, well, I'm a terrible person. I don't deserve to be, you know, loved. I don't deserve to have a good life. I don't deserve this. This is all stuff, you know, voices in the back of your head that goes on because I did bad things. But just because I did bad things doesn't mean I'm a bad person. And that's what I'm getting to now. I have learned that you, because he says, you know, he's talking about forgiving yourself. I have learned that for me. The only way that I can forgive myself is if I am accountable to what I've done. You know, I cannot point at anybody else and say, well, they kind of if they hadn't done this, if they hadn't done this, I would not have had to do that. I can't do it. Can't do it. Can't do it. Can't play with me. Here they're talking about how Shatner. This is great. She begins to analyze Shatner. Oh, I love it. Good. Who, by the way, in this clip you can see clearly needs it. Yeah, duh. And she, you can tell, is giving him some stuff and he's like, this is good. You know, I think he's really like thinking, I need this. Priceline.com. Cut 20.
And I don't need to go into the past and dig in the past because right now he's got a great relationship with his son. We have a great relationship. He has a great relationship with my boyfriend. So that's what I choose to focus on. Wow, Valerie, that is an extraordinary demonstration of maturity and kindness. Well, I better be mature. I'm 48. I mean, it's about time to mature up. Some people like me never again. But you have not to feel. anger and hurts and stuff like that. I'm afraid that I hold on to them. Really? Yeah. What's that doing for you? What does it give you? Not too much. Impetus, perhaps. Sleepless nights. But there's a reason people hold on to things, whether you would think that they're unhappy things or happy things. You hold on to it because it's doing something for you. It's making you believe something about yourself. That is like, well, I need to hold on to this because it makes me a victim, because it makes me stronger. What does it do for you? Well, I think both. I think victimism certainly. And do you really think you choose to live your life as a victim? I don't get that from you. Just analyze it.
Well, it's complex, and I don't believe I've really studied that part of me. But you're holding on to something for a reason, just like I'm holding on to not being able to forgive. So what's that doing for me? What's that doing for you? It's a jihad, almost. Save that. Save that. Wow. Why don't you turn that high-powered perception on yourself? Wow. Awesome. Was that funny, Valerie Bertinelli? Tim Allen explains to him. Yes. He interviews Tim Allen. I'm telling you, man, this is crazy. Now, this is a great clip. In this clip. Tim Allen is explaining to him that he was addicted. Tim Allen addicted to cocaine or something? Yeah, I remember that story coming out when he was at the height of his. Oh, really? He did it before he was like a big star. Before or after Tool Time? Yeah, was it before or after? Before. Before Tool Time. Okay, enough. We got it. What is that? It's from Tool Time. Stop it, you two. They obviously watch the show. Every night.
So here Tim Allen. No, thank you, Valerie. Tim Allen is explaining to him how he apparently, during the time where he was starting to get sober, had a spiritual awakening. And apparently Shatner finds this to be quite peculiar. Oh, my. Cut 25. I'd had this thought in my head. I'd had a couple other people that had been clean and sober said, one day you'll ask for help. You just got to ask. And it's a moment of humility is what it is, ultimate humility. I'm no longer in control of my life. Wow. And that occurred to you at that moment? Yes. What about Richard Karn? I'm, I cannot. Anybody. I stand it because I don't.
Home Improvement references. It's all Home Improvement references. I met Richard Carney. Who cares? Nice man. Okay? That is not impressive. To you, maybe. It is not impressive. It's not impressive. Richard Carney. Maybe to you, it's not. It isn't. Guess who will be in the studio on Friday? Who? Richard Carney? Oh, my God. I don't think so, Tim. Mr. Gregory Gass. Gregory Gass. Get out of here. Some funny make-em-ups, Mike. That's right. Yeah. That's crazy. Craig will be in the studio on Friday. Now, if you're not familiar with the name Craig Gass, Craig Gass, good friend who does impressions with his voice. Oh, wow. He was actually a member of the Howard Stern Show for about a year. He was? Yeah, he was on the Stern Show. He did voices. Does funny make-em-ups. He did funny make-em-ups.
On the Stern Show for about a year, he did the voice of Baby Pacino. Al Pacino would call into the Stern Show as a baby. No. Yeah, from the premise that he was a baby. And he will be coming in here. He does the most incredible Sam Kinison voice ever. It's more Kinison than Kinison. That's true. See if you can get Craig on the phone. Okay. And we will be doing something that we do with Craig called Craig Gas Theater. Very, very interesting story when I met Craig. He opened the door to this studio while we were in commercial break. This was a few years back. We were in commercial break. He opened the door to the studio. And he goes, hey, hey, guys, hey, hey. And he kind of got our attention. We looked. We didn't have a clue who he was. Yeah, and immediately when he did that, I'm like, Mike is going to hate whoever this is right now. Because this guy knows. I don't like when, you know, like.
If a salesperson happens and I don't know about it. We're working right now. We'll talk to you after the show, whoever you are. So here's this stranger, and I'm thinking to myself, nobody's watching this person and making sure because he's a stranger. Yeah, he's roaming around. And he goes, hey, my name's Craig Gass, and I do impressions, and I was just wondering if you want to have me on your show. That was so weird. So awesome. Voicemail ass. So weird. And I thought that was so charming. Ballsy. Ballsy. And at the same time, there was something kind of vulnerable about it, too. Because, man, do you open yourself up to somebody going, making a wisecrack, like, no thanks, get out. You know? And then I talked to him, and we immediately, I immediately was drawn to Craig's personality. And now when he comes into town, he stays with us. And I really like Craig. Yeah, he like stays at your house with you and your family. Yeah. He's a good, he's, I really, I enjoy Craig. Yeah. He's a fun guy and he's such a good hearted guy. So Craig is coming in and we'll do some Craig Gas Theater. We'll make it like a Christmas theme. Oh, I love it. I love it.
The idea of Craig Gas Theater is that we take regular movies and we replace the characters in the movies with the different characters that he does. Al Pacino, Sam Kinison, Tracy Morgan. Christopher Walken. Christopher Walken. Didn't he kind of come up with the Tracy Morgan thing? Kind of. He did because Sean played the clip. That's crazy. And he thought that was so funny and he started doing it and realized he could do the Tracy Morgan voice. Now he does the Tracy Morgan voice. That's like a big part of his arsenal. Eddie, how old do you think Ozzy turns today? My wife shares a birthday with Ozzy Osbourne. Oh, I thought you meant Ozzy Smith. Do you mean the shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals? That's what I thought you were talking about. Ridiculous. Or the former contestant on Survivor. That's right. Stop it. How dare you? Ozzy Osbourne, I think, turns... How many centuries old could he be? I'll say 55. Boston Rob. That's a real good guess. Thank you. I'm going to say 53. Sean. I'm going to say...
Ashley. 62. Zeth. 58. Sky, do you know, right? Yes, I know. Oh, okay. Cheater. Sean nailed it. What? He is turning 60 years old today. Yeah. Cut 30. I don't want to stop, you know. It's been the biggest love affair of my life. When you reach a certain age in rock and roll, people think, well, this has got to be his last tour, or this has got to be his last tour, or you've got to come next to him because he ain't going to do it after him. You'll know when I've come off the road permanently. I mean, you'll know. Do you guys love those commercials that Ozzy's in? Have you seen it? I think it's funny. What does he do? It's a cell phone commercial for texting or whatever. Easy texting. And so he'll go up and he'll try and order a cup of coffee and the guy will be like, what? And because he can't understand them, and they go through that a couple times, and then eventually he, like, texts them. And then, you know, Ozzy will go to another place. That's brilliant. Someone won't understand him. That's a brilliant idea. That's very smart. I don't really get it, because I think you can understand him. Oh, absolutely, perfectly. Cut 29. Let me tell you, when I was 20, I thought, I'm going to die by 40. And that was all right until I was 39 and a half. What the hell? Wow.
I was thinking the same thing. That's right. Slash, what is the challenge in finding the perfect new singer for Velvet Revolver? Cut 28. It's a tough gig because we're looking for Something that isn't what you consider readily available these days, which is a rock singer with heart that has a certain amount of intensity that's genuine, that's not fabricated. And this business is the way it is right now. So it's like finding a needle in a haystack. So how do you do it? Forget it. Yeah, just quit. They have anybody yet? No, there's still, you know, a bunch of rumors, but no, nobody that's been confirmed. Did you guys see Brad Pitt yesterday up on the TV when we were sitting in here? Did anybody? catch his mug on the Today Show. With that sweet mustache he's got. They asked him about the mustache and he gave a joke answer, so we don't know why he's doing that. I don't know if it's a movie or if he's just... It's gotta be a movie. I hope it's a movie. Here's Brad Pitt talking about the paparazzi cut one. Listen, let me be very blunt. I hate them. I hate these people.
I don't understand that they do that for a living. We've got to make a distinction between people who photograph celebrities at events and people who climb over your walls or wearing camouflage and calling out your kids' names as you're trying to take them to school so they'll look that way. I have no respect for these people. I do not like them. I don't understand how they can live their lives that way. There should be laws against it. They should not be able to follow kids like this. But... You know, there's not right now, so that's the way it is. Totally agree. I don't have a problem with that. How come he gets to be handsome and tall and good actor and all of it? Cut. He's real cut. Okay. He gets to be all of it, though, you know? Yeah. Even a cool mustache. He grows a cool mustache. It's not a cool mustache. It's not that cool. No. It's pretty cool. Opposite of cool. When are you going to get married, Brad? Cut three. I have to ask you this question. You can answer it or not. Angie kind of set it up. She said she was asked recently... Angie was asked recently by a reporter whether or not you guys are going to get married. And she said you have to ask Brad. Well, she did set me up, didn't she? Listen, if we feel it's important to our kids, we'll do so. The answer? Yeah. What do you mean? What does that mean? I guess it's not important to them, but if the kids... If they start saying, hey, kids are telling me that you guys aren't married and I don't like it. Yeah, or I want you guys to get married. I want to be in a wedding. Right. This is the craziest party.
I'm going to play the YouTube clip of the day when we come back. I'm not kidding around. If you're kidding, I'm going to be mad. I'm not kidding. We're doing it when we come back. For real. And then you come back. What do you guys think? The top ten actors that are not hot anymore are. That's the ultimate hang zone. Oh, rock. Here you go. Sir, this is the airport screening line in Europe, plate of nachos. Not just any nachos, I'm the new fully loaded nachos from Taco Bell. I'm going to use the wand. Well, mind the salsa.
Introducing Taco Bell's new fully loaded nachos. It's packed with way more toppings than chips. Way more toppings like seasoned ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, and fiesta salsa. And go to their website, by the way. If this is something where you're like, I've got to see it for myself. Maybe you are. You're a show me person. That's fine. Go to Apple.com. They'll show you. They have a, I don't know if you've ever heard of this. Banana? It's very cool. No, no, no, no. Not a banana. A nano. Oh, a nano. You got it. It's not your grandma either. Oh. It's not your nana. Oh. It's your nano. Oh, yeah, because nanas, yeah, they're not cool. Well, wait a second. Wait, Sky, no, nanas are cool. What? You know, your nana, you love her. You love her. Well, I love her, but that doesn't mean she's hip and happening. Oh, I see what you're saying. You know what I'm saying, Mike? Well, I'll tell you what is cool. What? The nano. The nano's great, and they've redesigned it.
And what you can do with it now is you can shake it to shuffle it. You shake it and it shuffles. It's really cool. Right now is Christmas time. Right now is the time where you're looking for gifts. What's really cool is that if you go to apple.com and you check out the Nano and all these different products that they have, you can engrave them. And it's free. They just do it. They don't charge you extra for it. You go on there and you get to see what it'll look like on the back of the Nano. You type in your message, two lines, and that's what your loved one will get. It's really cool. If I were you, I would check out one of their stores. They've got stores all over San Diego. The one that I like is the one in Carlsbad. It's a brand new Apple store. Go in there and check out the Apple products, and trust me, you're going to love it. Engraved gift for the person in your life you love. Apple.com is where you check it out. I love me some Mac.

Mercer spokesman Judd Rastner tells reporters ham is just the beginning. Within two years, you'll see everything from vanilla-flavored spoons for ice cream or desserts to potato-flavored steak knives. Rastner says the ham fork, as it is being called, will contain ham flavor all the way from tip to prong. A printed warning against eating the utensil. Doyle Redland for the Onion Radio News. That's what it is. You get an x-ray of Sky's stomach. It's just got forks all in there. Get ready for ham. Yes. Whatever. Ham is just the beginning. God. Enough. Eddie had breaking news about Plaxico Burris earlier. Yeah.
The doctor that treated him is suspended from the hospital he works at for shenanigans. He didn't call in. You know, I guess when there's any kind of shooting, you have to report it right away to the cops. He didn't. And he treated Plaxico under a phony name. Dang. So they were trying to cover it up. That was so bad. I wonder if they've said what kind of gun it was. A butter gun. A butter gun. That's why it slipped out of his hands. Has anyone heard? Um, I did not hear. So, what do we think? Do we think that he paid the doctor off or that the doctor was, like, a fan and just, like, hooked him up? Probably he was both. Yeah, well, both. Oh, oh, I don't know about pay. I don't think he paid. I don't think he paid. No. Guys, trust me, it all comes down to that. Well, yes. Shut up. You could buy anybody. Yes. It could be done. Yes.
We hadn't done that. Got the gold nameplate. Took home the trophy. What trophy? We had Plaxico Burris on the Mikey show. That's right. He was talking about Super Bowl rings. His Super Bowl ring. How did that ring look on your hand? It's really obnoxious kind of. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, it's a wonderful piece of hardware to have. Don't get me wrong. Did your wife love it? Oh, she loves it. She wants one of her own. I said, well, go out there and put a helmet on. He's married. Dude, until you played that, I didn't even remember that. So what are you doing at the club, Plax? Right? Zeth. A guy just called in and said it was a .40 caliber Glock. Get out. What does that mean? I have a Glock. It's the Glock is the make. The Glock is the make. And so, like, if you hear Smith & Wesson, that's who made the gun.
but like, but the, but the, it was a 40 caliber. Yeah. Yeah. That is a big, big, what I, what the caliber is big. Okay. Meaning that the bullet is big. You ever heard of a nine millimeter? You've heard that before. Nine millimeter, uh, used to be like the regular issue for the cops. Nine millimeter, uh, in the, in the army, when guys would carry a pistol on them, it was nine millimeter. Okay. Uh, Actually, I take that back. It was a .40 caliber, what he had. A .40 caliber is a big... If you shoot somebody with a .40 caliber, you want to stop them. It's going to put a big hole in them. The only thing bigger in terms of a handgun is a .45, and that's what Dirty Harry carried. That giant gun in the movie Dirty Harry, where he's holding that giant gun. That's a .45. Ridiculous. .40 caliber. When I was getting my... I wanted to get a .40 caliber, but I wanted Rebecca to be able to know how to fire it. So I went with a 9mm because I thought, well, it won't kick as much. It won't have as much recoil. She'll be able to have fun shooting with it every once in a while. I grew up doing this with my brother. I grew up shooting guns. And if you didn't grow up shooting guns, guns just sound scary.
And they sound even scarier when you hear about guys like Plaxico Burris because then you're like, oh, dude, that's crazy. What are you doing? You shouldn't be doing that. Well, yeah, you shouldn't be carrying a concealed weapon in the club with the safety not on, loaded. It's not registered in the state. Covered in butter. Covered in butter. Just dripping butter off of it. All bad things. I'm really surprised he shot himself with a .40 caliber pistol and that his leg. is not just minced meat. Yeah. At close range. At close range. And that action, maybe that's why? That's probably what it was. Yeah. Yeah, like the bullet didn't have time to spread out. Yeah. Cool. See, that's what happens with a bullet. What happens with a bullet, the way that it kills you, well, there's a couple things. Because, you know, the bullet's so tiny, right? It's a little thing. But it's going so fast that when it hits you, And it breaks the skin and goes inside you. It has so much force that when it meets the tissue, the actual bullet itself is soft enough. And I don't mean soft like you could pick it up and like form it or anything. It's hard, but it's sort of soft so that when it hits tissue, it expands. And that's what messes you up because as it's passing through you, it's going and it's spreading out.
That's why by the time it gets through the back of you, it has done its job of spreading out, and that's why you see there's always a big hole in the back. I don't like that. Don't most Glocks not have safeties on them, too? They do not. Most Glocks do not have a safety on them. Can I explain something? It does explain it. Shouldn't that be illegal to have a gun that doesn't have a safety on it? Well... Like, why would anyone ever need a gun? Like, how could a safety ever, like... I asked that question. Stupid. Why is there no safety on it? The thought process behind it is these are weapons that most people carry for protection. That's what my dad carries. He carries a Glock. Yeah, he has a 40 caliber. They're really well made. 40 caliber Glock. Yeah, that's what he carries. Glocks are really, really, really well made pistols. And the reason that there's no safety is because usually it's for self-defense. And if you're pulling it, you're using it. That's the thought. Safeties, what safeties are good for is, this is what the guy told me at the gun store, and I think he's right. You got kids, no way in the world are you ever getting a gun that doesn't have a safety on it. If you have kids in the house and you put that gun in a gun safe or whatever, got to have a safety on it. I don't like this. Sky, part of it is, I'll take you shooting and we'll figure it all out. Oh, boy. Can I come? Can you tell me? We can not go shooting. Sky, I could never convince you. No.
But it would take away the stigma. It would take away the, you know. I don't want the stigma taken away. You don't? No, I think people should be fearful of guns. Unless you're a police officer or you're an FBI agent. But that's like saying that, you know, you'd be afraid of like a dog, you know. If it's an attack dog, yeah, you should be afraid of it. If it's a dog that's trained to kill, yes, you should be afraid of it. Unless you're its handler. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You can be a handler. I don't think you need to be a gun handler. I don't think most people need to be a gun handler unless, like I said, you... It is our Second Amendment. Hey, I'm not saying it's not. Right to be able to defend ourselves. I never said it wasn't. Come on now. That's why I use a crossbow. See? Eddie gets hit. Come on, Sky. You don't think that... But you have to wear tights. You said that you think that it needs to be all cops. What if you want to defend yourself? Against what? From people breaking into your house or from anything. You get an alarm. You call 911. You lock the door. Baseball bat. Crossbow. A baseball bat. Crossbow with tights. A bat and two dogs. Use a crossbow. What's up? You know what a crossbow is? Isn't it the thing Robin Hood uses? No. What's up? This was us asking Plaxico about this season.
Before the season had begun. Do you think you'll have a better season this season? I'm looking to have the best year of my career. Okay. I learned a lot. Playing beat up last year. I learned a lot about the game and the knowledge of the game mentally. So I'm looking to put all that together and be 100% and go out and even tear it up a little bit more. I wonder what really happened with that .40 caliber pistol. What really happened? Yeah, there's got to be... There's something to the story that we don't know. Yeah. They're covering up that something happened. Because, you know, your gun doesn't just, I doubt it was just falling out of his pants. Yeah. Did somebody have a giant magnet behind him? And let me tell you something. You know, like Seth was saying, a lot of Glocks, they don't have a safety on them. Dude. First of all, I heard that. Plaxico was wearing sweatpants. At the club? Yes. Really? Yes. Plax. Plax. Weird. Don't carry your pistol with no safety on it in your sweatpants pocket. Thank you. Don't do it. Just don't wear sweats to the club, bro. Don't wear them. Don't want to wear them. I mean, it's just crazy.
Yeah, well, he didn't have the best season of his career. Phone lines are blowing up, so I must have said something wrong. But maybe he wasn't wearing sweatpants. Can't do it. What did I say? A couple things that people have been telling me is about the caliber of the military weapons. 40 cals. They said that there's certain NATO restrictions. They used to carry 45s. Now it's 9. The safety thing with the Glock is some of them have safeties on the trigger. So I guess your finger has to be on the trigger. You get this? No. Sky trigger looks like this, right? Yep. And your finger goes in it and pulls it back. Okay, the way that the Glocks work is, there's this little pin right here. Little pin right here in the... In the top part of the curvy. Top part of the curvy. And so when you put your finger like this and you pull back lightly, you've released the safety. That is the safety. So you go, and now it's in business. You got your finger on it. When you pull back, it's ready to go. Well, but that's really not a safety. When I first saw that, I thought, that's kind of weird. Can a gun fire without the trigger being pulled? I guess the reason for this is you can drop it if it drops, but except if you're Plaxico Burris. Yeah, unless it's covered in butter. I guess we know how effective that thing is now, right? Yeah. If that's the one that he had.
Weird. Mikey Show. Yeah, hey, I was listening and Sky was saying about the gun stuff. Uh-huh. Yeah, I was making a comment about, she was saying like, you know, call the cops or whatever. The reason people should own guns is to protect themselves from the criminals who have guns. Well, I mean, we could get into this, but I don't want to get into this if, you know. Yeah. I get what you're saying, but I got different views on it. This guy don't like guns. I don't like guns. Hang on. She don't like guns until I take her shooting. I'm not going to be shooting. And then she's going to be all about them. Shooting beer cans. No, I don't want to shoot anything. I was traumatized with the paintball. I think that's enough. Boo, will you please take me shooting? No. Never. We should do a bit things you'll never hear Sky say. There's a lot of them. Please pass the mustard. You will not hear that. No ham for me, thanks. Oh, that's too much money. How do you like this sexy dress? Really? Can we please go to Victoria's Secret?
Whatever. I need less SPF. Oh, we're all so funny. Oh, my. I love my hair. What? What? I love my hair? Yeah. Because she doesn't like her hair? She always complains about it, doesn't she? Can't do a thing with her. Can't do it. Actually, Sean, you're projecting. Oh, sorry. Sean, are you projecting? No. Get these black models out of here. Get all of them out of here. I won't have the side of rice. Yes, I'll take the cheesy-deasy-doodle-deasy. Extra cheese. 570-1053 is our number. What's a bathhouse? No! She ain't saying it. Stop being a jerk. Yeah, Rob. I'm talking to you, Jed.
Who's that? I take responsibility. You know what we're going to do tomorrow? What? Tough love with Eddie. Oh, my. How do you feel about that now? I'm feeling good. It's a deep burn. Yeah. Oh, you know what I want to do? Before we go, I want to talk about the list that Sky had of the actors that were hot but aren't hot anymore. But not so much anymore. Jonathan Lipnicki. Kirsten Dunst. These are men. He used to be... Kirsten Dunst. Couldn't keep the guy out of movies at one time. Helmsley. Helmsley. Not so hot anymore. Are we talking like... Red Fox. Wait, wait, wait. Are we talking hot like... He's dead. I'm assuming we're talking hot like they make a lot of money, they're big in the movies. I don't think so. I think we're talking, like, sexy guys. Good looking? Yes. Oh. Like, they used to be, like, sex symbols. Oh, David Hasselhoff. Anybody, right? Couldn't that be anybody that's, like, you know, Harrison Ford? Tom Cruise is still cute. Yeah. Tom Cruise is on the list. Oh, no. He's not on the list. Oh, no. He's not on the list. He's not on the list. He's not on the list. He's not on the list. He's not on the list. Bill Pullman. Three words, Valkyrie. Wait. What? Never mind. What's the problem? No. Uh.
Sorry. Valkyrie, Valkyrie, Valkyrie. Come on, you guys. I got one. Oh, Richard Gere. I got it. Michelle Pfeiffer. Wait. Again, we're talking men. Michelle Pfeiffer's a girl. Guy. You're the worst. Stop that. Pierce Brosnan. I love you. Put it on the board. Yeah. Pierce Brosnan. Pierce Brosnan. It's a great guess, but not on the list. Patrick Benatar. Dang it. By the way, the turkey roulette. photos are on the website. If you want to see us playing... Look at that sandwich that Rob made. It's so disgusting. You want to see what we were doing earlier when we were eating turkey sandwiches? Go check it out. Heath Ledger. Too soon. I'm just asking if it's too soon. Jimmy Walker. Not sweet Leo. He's not on the list. Johnny Depp. No. George Clooney. Ricky Schroeder. Matthew McConaughey.
I'm going to go my way. JFK, still too soon? Is it still too soon? JFK Jr. Hey, Eddie. Show some respect. Oh, wow. Somebody from Boston. My good lord. Take it easy, guys. Sorry about that. Mathis Vineyard. What? Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Stalker Channing. Peter Pan. What? Sean, what's the guy that played the fall guy? Lee Majors. Lee Majors. Put it. No. Put it. Put it on the board. Put it. John Forsythe. Patrick Sweezy. Did anyone say Bill Paxton? William Forsythe. You said Bill Pullman. What about... What about... Larry Hagman. Larry Hagman. No. Mickey Rourke. Oh. Yes, Eddie. Mickey Rourke is on the list. Shut up. I was going to give a serious one, too. What about... Seriously, what about Matt Damon? Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Matt Damon. Ben Affleck. Harrison Ford's not on there? He's still hot? Have you seen that earring, bro? Really? David Schwimmer. Matt LeBlanc. Matt. Matt. One of these guys. Tommy Two-Tone.
Just in the number one movie last weekend? Oh, Will Smith. Tell me what was number one last weekend. Zach Efron. Tiny Tim. Jonas Brothers. Ed McMahon. Doc Severinsen. The number one movie this past weekend was Four Christmases. Vince. Vince. Vince Neil. Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn is on the list. Really? What a good guess, you guys. Let's think about celebrity mug shots. Maybe that'll help. Oh, yeah, yeah, definitely. Nick Nolte. Yes, Robby. Gary Busey. Michael Jackson. Paul Rubens. Matthew McConaughey. How you said that? Oh, did Ashley already say it? Oh, Mike, get with the program. Sorry, guys. First the JFK joke, now this. Denzel Washington. Oh, Paul Rubens. Oh, there it is. Jamie Foxx. Number two. Epstein. Al Pacino. We still got a good mugshot that you haven't guessed yet. Mel Gibson. Nicole Richie. Yes, Mel Gibson. Yeah. Not hot. Yeah, but he was great in that movie What Woman Want. That is true.
It's such a good movie. It really is. If you could hear what women were thinking. Yeah, you're a little too fruity. You are too fruity, buddy. What about Murtaugh? P1 Chris. Hey, what's up, Mikey? Joe Pesci. How about Gerard Depardieu? Oh, yes. For sure. Check it. What about Gerard Depardieu? Check it. Gerard. What about Jean Reno? Oh, yeah. Jean Reno. Steven Seagal. Oh, Bruce Willis. Oh, how dare you. Horseshack. What about Tandy McLoenbrow? It's not Tandy McLoenbrow? No. Sean Connery. Yeah. Yeah. Sean Penn. Is it on the list? No. Sean Connery? No, he's not. He's super hot. William Frawley. Wow. Wilford Brimley. Oh, nice.
Boy Blender. He's way hotter now. Hotter now. Way hotter now. Super hot. He's a gravy beard. Super hot. Looks good. Tantalizing. Tantalizing? Duh. Make a sandwich out of his beard. That is true. I'd like to pour his beard all over some mashed potatoes. I want his whole face and just dip it in my mouth. Ew. Yes. Ew. I would like a steak. With boy blunder on the side so I can dip my steak into it. I pour his face all over my burrito. All over it. I want a blunder jubilee. That's it. But that's it. Nothing else. I don't know who we're missing. Who else? Wesley Snipes. He hasn't changed. He's the same guy. Russell Crowe. Jared Leto. Couldn't even draw a mental picture of what he looks like. Oh, but my so-called life. Oh, he was so hot back then. He was so hot back then. Are you a chick? Rob gets it today. He really does. Thank you. Are you guys in sync or what? Okay, we... Hey, anybody have any Midal? I am really cramping up. I am dying for some chocolate. Oh my gosh, you guys.
Okay, Val Kilmer. I am so curled up on the couch right now. Well, the holiday's on, so just put that on. Hey, I'm sorry. I got to cancel. They are so bad. They hurt so bad. Why did I wear white today? Too far, bro. Okay, so Val Kilmer, and then finally... And I'm back on the pill. It shouldn't be happening. And then finally Jude Law. There you go. We got to go, you guys. But I don't want to. I think we did everything. Military divorce rate is up. People are getting divorced more in the military. What for? They're saying, well, let's see. The divorce rate, they say among active duty soldiers, last year was 3.3%. This year, 3.5%. Among Marines, last year was 3.3%. This year, it's 3.7%. And the study says due to, obviously, deployments, constant relocations, they've really put a strain on a marriage. Yeah, it's always happened, though. My parents said the reason they never got a divorce is because they just didn't.
That's their answer. Hey, Mom, how come you guys never got a divorce? Do you ever want to? Yeah, a lot of times. How come you didn't? Because we just didn't. That's how you got to roll. I believe that at a point in everybody's marriage, I believe this, that at a point in everybody's marriage, you will consider getting a divorce. Oh, for sure. You get sick of anybody. Yeah. But you just don't. Well, yeah, you made a commitment. Yeah, so you got to stick with it. And you love that person, hopefully. Yeah, you love them. Today's my wife's birthday. Happy birthday, honey. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. 5701053. I have an appearance I want to mention. You do? What? What are you doing? I am going to be out. Go ahead. I'm really excited about this. Me too. Because you're interviewing somebody and I want to play it back on the air. Is this the deal? Yeah. Well, wait a minute. I didn't know it was for sure. It is for sure? Yes. Tonight? This is amazing. Let's calm down. This is amazing. You are going to interview? Tonight, I will be doing an appearance from 4 to 545 at the Whole Foods in Hillcrest. Rock 105.3 will be out there. Mike, stop being a jerk. Rock 105.3 is going to be out there because Maynard from Tool.
is going to be doing a wine signing event. Now, I went to the one in La Jolla, so I have a little advice for you. Get there early. What they do, they'll give you a number. That'll be your place in line. You're going to have plenty of time to wait. So get your number. Go get something to eat. Come back, and then you'll be good to go. You have to be over 21. He's only signing wine bottles. Don't look him in the eye. No photography allowed. But prior. to the wine signing before it starts. I am going to have an opportunity to interview Maynard. Wow! Hello, USA. I am... Shut up, you jerk! I am Skye, and I am here with Maynard T. Krebs. No, that is not. It's Maynard T. Krebs. Hello, Mr. Krebs. His name isn't Krebs. It is wonderful to be here with you this eve. And I notice that you are standing next to another gentleman. whom you are a vintner with. Can you spell the word vintner? Now you go. Can I please go with you? That is going to be the best interview of all time.
So, yeah, the interview, I'm sure we... And you're bringing Hannah in tomorrow so we can play it. We may play bits and pieces back on the Mikey Show, but it's going to be a web exclusive. No, it is not. Shauna says this is a web exclusive interview. No, it is not. Mikey Show exclusive. What are you going to ask him? Well, I'm kind of... Kind of freaking out because everybody always talks about, oh, Maynard never does interviews. He's very intimidating. He's a really smart, serious guy. So that freaks me out. But like I said, you know, I waited in line at the La Jolla thing. I got to meet him. He seemed really nice. Like, he smiled. He said hello. So that seemed nice. I'm going to go into it and I'm going to be like, hey, you know, of course we're going to talk about your wine, but, you know, is it okay if I ask you also some questions about your music? And then depending on how... Do you like sock hops? What's your favorite tool? Mine's a hammer. Hammer. Okay. See what you did there. So I'm hoping that... How ironic that your band is called A Perfect Circle because...
How dare you? Wow. Brilliant. How dare you? Brilliant. So we will hear this tomorrow? Maybe you can teach me a thing or two. It's going to be a web exclusive, I've decided. Oh, we're going to have a field day. Field day. Dude, are you kidding? Hello, Maynard, what's happening? I'm here with Manit. I know you'll like him. I love him. You're like our jerks. Mikey's show. Yeah. Hi, this is P1HB. I just wanted to tell everyone that they can bring a toy, a new unwrapped toy at the Charger game tomorrow for Toys for Tots. Right on. Right on. There's a Charger game tomorrow, Rob. That's very cool. Is there a section that you're doing that? I don't know. There are going to be bins throughout where you go in the entrances. There'll be bins all over the place. Right on. Yeah, I'm bringing a whole box full of toys. That's cool. Hey, thank you for calling with that. You're welcome. P1 Jason. I'm a World of Warcraft addict and I really need help. Okay. What can I do for you?
Uh-huh. I think he hung up. He had to get back to his game. Hello? Oh, no. We lost him, guys. He got back to his game. Mikey Show. Oh, yeah. This is Maynard Sky. Don't you dare ask me anything about my music. Oh, shut up. Dead on. I think he's going to be cool. That's a really good Maynard impression. Mikey Show. It's T-Rex. How's it going? Yo, T-Rex. Yeah, I just want to give you guys some good Charger news. Okay. We had some bad news over the holiday. But I want to give a shout out to my son's team who plays for the Mirror Mason Chargers. Yay! Football tournament up in Las Vegas and they won both of their games. That is great Charger news. Congratulations. I'm let down. Eddie.
I just want to say I was eating. And he's let down. Hey, I'm happy for T-Rex's boy. I mean, that's great stuff. But, I mean, I thought he had some legitimate good news. I thought he was calling. He was going to lift our spirits. He's going to be like, oh, I'll tease toes healed. Yeah. I'm sorry. Thanks, T-Rex. We'll get him Thursday night. There you go. Maybe. You're a turkey eating contest? You turkey. You're a turkey. Let you guys know I was eating that El Diablo as you guys were eating those nuts. Oh, look at you. All right, show off. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hello? The wardrobe guy? Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. P-H-I-T-L-O-Y. Billy's finest. What's going on? Not much. Just wanted to point out real quick, for the second straight day, Sean did not hit it. That is unacceptable. Oh, my gosh. I agree. Fire him. He did not hit it. He didn't hit it? That is unacceptable. Two straight days. Unacceptable. Fire it. What are you going to do about it? I'm going to call him. Yeah. Yeah. Also, Eddie. End this tyranny. Thank you. Do you have his number? Ash, do you have his cell? I should, yeah. Yeah, I do. Call his cell. Okay. Oh. How dare he? I am beyond mortified. I am so irritated that there was no hitting going on. Two days in a row we didn't even notice it yesterday? How do we not notice that? I don't know. Thank you, Philly's Finest. Wow. This will be taken care of right now. I'm going to make him do it. He'll have to do it with his mouth.
I can't believe he did not. That is unbelievable. He did not hit it. No wonder I had such a bad day yesterday. Oh, dude, no wonder, right? It's all his fault. If you didn't hear earlier, Eddie spilled a milkshake in and out. And people applauded. Wasn't funny, Rob. I was not laughing at that. Did you have a dick of a joke? You thought of a punchline of something? Something in my eye. Something in your eye made you laugh, hysterically? It happened to Mike the other day. Yeah, it happened to Mike. I laughed. Yeah. Hey, is this Sean King? Hello. Hey, Sean, how are you? I'm good. Let me turn down my radio. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that. Hold on, hold on. You know, he's doing that on purpose. He is doing it on purpose. So he's doing insult to injury. So he is insult to injury. He has time to do this. Yeah. He can make all his jokes. Oh, he's so funny. He's getting further than that. Quite a character. Quite a character. We just got a call from Philly's finest show. Got any thoughts on that? Couldn't care less. You are the worst. I almost just went to the bathroom. You are the worst, Sean. What is your problem? I was just okay. What is your problem? Wait a second. You listen to me. He is sassy. You listen to me. He is sassy. It's your only job. Listen, lady. You are to hit it. If you don't hit it, I'm going to.
Tell you something right now. If you don't hit it every time now, we will touch your face. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Squeeze it. We'll give you big kisses on your face. We'll send you Ashley's shirt in the mail. See, this is why they came up with the saying, hit it or quit it. Thank you. Figure it out, Sean. Either hit it or quit it. That's right. You got that? You got that? Okay. Lady. You promised never to send that shirt. Yeah, I'll tell you what. We obviously found the area of we can do it. I just want to be sure. Yeah, let me tell you something. We'll have her wear a Sean Merriman donated coat to her yoga class. Oh, God. Yeah. And then we'll wrap you in it. That's right. Yeah. And then we'll say, like Michael Jackson, how do you like it? Do you smell that? Do you smell it? How's it smell? Good? Good, yeah. So, do we have an agreement? Kiosk! Yes! Save that clip. Save that clip. Save that clip. Okay. That was my favorite one. Wow. That was maybe the best Kia ever. Wow. Ever. Lovely and talented Missy is coming up next on the show today. She has the Nooner. It's the all-request lunch. Yeah.
Great show today. Compelling. We will see you again tomorrow morning when it will be called Thursday. Nike shows out late.
