Eddie described and replayed his tense Chargers pregame argument with Hank Bauer over whether Jacob Hester played well, while Josh Lewin said distance and dead air made the disagreement especially uncomfortable. Craig Gass drove the comedy through Christmas-movie impressions, a Gene Simmons story involving Sebastian Bach, and a live exchange with Paul Stanley about Kiss and art. Callers Charmaine, Brett, and Trevor brought in a risky sorority initiation, a missing kitten, and an upcoming sedated methadone detox, forcing arguments about safety, honesty, and support. The show also watched O.J. Simpson's sentencing live, examined Boston Rob's Craigslist scam, and ended with Mikey describing his alcoholism, faith, recovery, and resources for people in crisis.
What happened, in order
Eddie vs. Hank
Eddie recounted his tense on-air clash with Hank Bauer after challenging Bauer's claim that Chargers fullback Jacob Hester had played well.
Arrest at the Vigil
A fatal hit-and-run suspect was arrested after allegedly driving to a bar across from the victim's candlelight vigil, where attendees recognized his damaged car.
Craig Gass Theater
Craig Gass recast Christmas classics with Tracy Morgan as Frosty, Al Pacino as Ralphie, and Sam Kinison as the Grinch.
The Unnamed Hazing
Sorority pledge Charmaine feared an initiation involving surrendered phones, a syringe, rope, swimsuits, and activities she said she could not later describe.
The Missing Kitten
Brett admitted that he left a coworker's patio door open while cat-sitting and lost her kitten, prompting an argument over whether to interrupt her vacation with the truth.
Rob's Hair Fundraiser
Listeners pledged money to cut Boston Rob's long hair before Las Vegas, with half proposed for Children's Hospital and a Yankees logo as the most painful condition.
Craigslist Xbox Scam
Boston Rob read a broken-English offer to overpay for his Xbox and ship it overseas, and the group identified it as a fake PayPal confirmation scam.
Gene's Phone Cover
Craig Gass relayed Sebastian Bach's story that Gene Simmons refused to give or even directly sell him one of a hundred Kiss phone covers and repeatedly sent him to the website instead.
Paul Stanley Meets Fake Gene
Paul Stanley joined the show, traded jokes with Craig Gass's Gene Simmons impression, discussed his painting career, and argued that Kiss was globally bigger than ever.
O.J. Sentencing Live
The hosts watched O.J. Simpson's sentencing live, debated whether the judge was invoking his earlier acquittal fairly, and struggled to calculate his prison term.
Trevor Asks for Prayers
Trevor said he was entering an experimental three-week sedated detox from methadone and thanked the show for helping him through addiction and homelessness.
Mikey's Recovery Story
Mikey described childhood sexual abuse, shame, severe alcoholism, his father's ultimatum, and the Christian faith he credits with changing his life.

of the program. It is 6-0-9. Dozens of people were arrested last night at the Charger Raider game. Then after the game, more Raiders fans were arrested for jumping a Chargers fan outside a bar in PV. Oh, wow. All that was probably because the Chargers own the Raiders. They beat them for the 11th straight time last night, 34-7. North Turner, you're a happy guy today, right? You want to run the ball. You want to have balance. And you want to be the best team you can be. You want to be a complete team. And I think it all ties into all three phases. And when we're playing like we did tonight, in all three phases, it allows you to do a lot of things. I'm ecstatic. You sound so sad. I'm happy. Gosh, I don't understand. Good luck, guys. I mean, you had a huge win. Why are you crying? That's why I'm happy about it. I mean, it doesn't seem like you are, but okay. You can't see me right now, but I'm dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. You are? I don't believe that. Okay. Yeah. Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Mikey Show. I'm going to tell you right now, it's a big show today. It's gigantic because our good friend Craig Gass is in the studio. That dramatic.
That's the stuff that Metallica starts every show with. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I thought that the lights were going to dim, and each one of you were going to walk in and join me through a bright light through the main door. Can we do that? There's fog behind us. So appropriate. Today was going to be Eddie's day. The sky would interrupt and interfere. Boston Rob was going to bring the flair. Ashley had no idea about what everything. Ladies and gentlemen, if you've never heard the work of Craig Gass, take a listen. I'm Al Pacino. I got a question for you. I've been taking in everything you got going on here. Please, I implore you. Tell me what you think. I'm dying to know.
That is unbelievable. Can you get angry? Can you do the angry Pacino too? Of course. That's something that women, for no reason, are attracted to. Guys who are psychotic. That's fantastic. Wow. That is fantastic. Hey, it's got nothing to do with anything, but I'm going to share this story about a month ago. I was in Hawaii. Yeah. And swimming in a pool in Kauai, on the island of Kauai. And this guy staring at me swam over and he goes, Craig? And I go, yeah. And he goes, Craig Gass. And I go, hey, wow. And I started waving my girlfriend over. I go, hold on, before you say anything, babe, come here. And I go, all right, go ahead. What were you going to say? And he goes, dude, I love you on the Mikey show. And I was like, oh, wow. Thank you. No way.
In a pool in the middle of Hawaii. In a pool in the middle of Hawaii. I thought you were going to say he recognized you from the network TV show. No, no. No, he came over and like, I mean, you know, yeah, he was like, dude, Mikey show. Love it when you're on, man. That's cool. That's cool. Yeah, that was awesome. Let me, I'm going to real quickly, I'm going to introduce everybody and we're going to get into this sucker, man. Craig is here today, so that means Craig Gas Theater. Yes. That's where we take a movie and we exchange the characters in the movie with Craig's different voices, which he does quite a few. Yeah, Shane. That's right. What did I say yesterday? I said, Craig's coming in tomorrow. Yeah, Shane. That's crazy. 570-1053. Call us if you want to. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38 years of age. Eddie's our producer and our sports guy. He's 35. Sky, she does our news. Oh, that looks good. That's a new one, the headband. That's a new one. I bought a pack of four way back in the day, but this headband only matches the sweater, so I can only wear it when I wear the sweater. Sky's a supermodel with headbands. She should be a headband model. I think they look great on them. They do, man. Well, thank you all. Sean is our sound effects guy. He's 38 years of age.
of age. Ashley is our assistant producer and she is 25. Didn't get the red memo. You did not? Didn't know that I was supposed to wear a red headpiece. Like Rob has a backwards red hat, Craig Gass, backwards red hat, high red headbands. That'd be bad. I didn't get the memo. We're going to rumble. I didn't know. We're dead. Or else I would have worn my red bandana. Yeah. I just wasn't aware. Boston Rob is, what is, he's our singer, songwriter here on the show. He does various things. He does singing and songwriting. He does funny ha-has. Yeah. Make-em-ups. Yeah, make-em-ups. It's great. And he's got funny make-em-ups. Oh, I brought my friend Chris Walken. You brought Chris Walken with you? What are you doing, Chris? I'll tell you, it's great. I've been training Rob. Rob is like the Jedi Knight. Oh, hello. Of funny make-em-ups. He is? He trained in Dagobah for 22 years to bring you the greatest funny make-em-ups that the Jedi universe can handle. Wow. Hey, Bob. Rob, I'm going to slip into the darkness.
You take over on the funny makeup. All right. Wait, you know what's weird? Hey, Christopher Walken, you guys seem really different. Like, he is a thug, you know? I mean, look at him. He's got the word Boston tattooed on his neck. You seem like a normal guy, and he's, you know, different. I'm very patient. Yeah. I'll always count to three when I get angry. Boston Rob. It's not very high. He's known to snap your neck by looking at him wrong in the line at Starbucks. We've got a lot of things in common, though. I love Jenga. Oh, really? I didn't know that. I didn't know you both like Jenga. Who doesn't know? Who doesn't love a great game of Jenga? Christopher Walken, do you carry anything in your pockets? I heard one time that you carry kind of weird stuff in your pockets, like sandwiches and stuff. The only thing I carry in my pockets are snaps. Yeah, snaps? For instance, Boston Rob, your mom is so fat. When she goes bungee jumping, she lands straight into the pits of hell.
That's why he's the master. Yeah, he does those snaps. Now you go. And then finally, there is the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. That's right. That's Zeth. Have you met Zeth, Craig? No. Oh, yeah, I did last time I was here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's in the other room. He does the phone screening now in the other room. He used to be right there. Yeah, yeah. He used to be. I forget him a lot. That's right. It happens. It happens. I'm just saying. I mean, mainly Mike, but... Yes, I do. That's correct. If the ratings ever go down, will you ever consider getting, like, a cute little kid on the show? Gotta have red hair. A little redhead. Yes. Let's see. And then we have two winners in the studio today. They won P1 Trivia, and they got to come hang out in here. We got P1 Bruce, and nice to see you, Bruce. Bruce!
They're not booing, you're saying Bruce. And then also we have P1 Miss Pink. She's 23. She actually lost at Mikey Show Trivia, but we let her come in anyway. Very nice. And she is, her job, she's employed as a professional TV watcher. And so that's what she does. She stays home and watches TV. I'm an amateur. You are? I've been training. Filling out logs for like Nielsen's? Or what do you mean professional? TV watcher. No, she just watches TV. That makes a cool way of saying she stays on watching. She is really into art and tattoos and she has quite a few. Come over here, Miss Pink. Let me take a look at it. See what you got. Let's see the artwork. What do you got going on here? Ooh, nice. You get this done in San Diego? Her ultimate tattoo. Top half of her arms, all sleeves. Oh, dude. Full leg sleeve? Dude. Whoa! Her hips are all done up. Whoa. That's good work. That's good work. What every lady needs. I like the gun on your hip. How long did the leg sleeve take? Is that a butter gun? I've been working on it for probably about two years. That's awesome work. Where'd you get that done? Ultimate tattoo. Nice. Good stuff. Wow. That's good work. That's good work. I like tattoos. Text message us. Call us. Our phone number, 570-1053.
Craig is here today. He told me yesterday afternoon, it may have even been last week that he said it, but yesterday afternoon reiterated, all I want when I get into town is the Pample Moose hamburger. And we went. Yeah, we went last night. And they said, hey, just so you know, we have a new thing we do. It's a grilled cheese sandwich. And I was like... An appetizer. Yeah. Grilled cheese. The Rebecca sandwich. Yes. And, yeah, Craig was in. That's for real? Yeah. I love grilled cheese. They do a grilled... What I've said about Pamplemousse is they take normal comfort food and they, you know, in a lot of cases, they take normal comfort food and they just pump it up on steroids and make it the greatest thing ever. You know, they can make French fries, but they make the best tasting fries ever. So you have the grilled cheese? Pumpers like the pump. I did not. Craig did. Craig, what was the grilled cheese like? What kind of bread? It tasted like Barry Bonds. That grilled cheese forehead is like three times the size of it. Little Mark McGuire aftertaste. I actually ran home and beat Mikey in the car. Did a foot race back home.
But no, the grilled cheese was delicious. They normally do a grilled cheese with lobster in the grilled cheese. Oh, yes. A little like slices of lobster. I'm not even describing it as well as they would when they tell you about it. Was something freaking you out about the plate last night after you had your grilled cheese? Was I staring at it? There was something, well, there was like a weird thing. I observed Craig, because we know Craig, okay, Craig is. All right, I gotta go. Yeah, listen, come on. It's been fun. Listen, Craig and I are good friends. I know that he is. Yeah, we are. I thought we are. No, stop it. And I know that he doesn't like all food stuff, and he gets a little Sean, like Sean. Sean's a germaphobe, you know? Sean's a germaphobe, and he freaks out with some stuff. Calm down, all right. And so I wasn't sure. Because I was noticing that you were staring at, you were kind of really looking at that plate after you were done. And I was like, is something, I don't know, was something going on here? Rebecca could probably answer it because she's the same way. Well, I was wondering where some of that stuff had come from. I knew it. I knew it. What does that mean? I don't know. I was just kind of like, I was like, wait a minute, what is that? What? Was that underneath? Oil. Yeah, it was olive oil. Balsamic.
And he kind of does the thing Rebecca does where a lot of times she'll have something, but something was hidden while she was having it. And so while he was having the grilled cheese sandwich next to it, they had put this sort of like this water crust and drizzled some olive oil and a little balsamic next to it with some tomatoes, with some heirloom tomatoes. Well, underneath that is a little balsamic and the whole deal. So he finishes eating his grilled cheese and he's like, I can see him. Yeah. Checking out like, oh, where did you, did you just check in? Did you just show up? I didn't know you were coming over. Welcome to the party. Yeah, welcome. Text messages. Hey, Eddie, I was speechless yesterday while I was listening to the Chargers pregame. What happened during the break after you and Hank had your fight on the air? What? P1 need to know. Oh, no. Fight? What? Okay, for those of you that don't know. Eddie is on the pregame show for the San Diego Chargers because Rock 105.3 is the flagship station of the San Diego Chargers. And the broadcast team is made up of Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer. They do the play-by-play and the color commentary, respectively. And before the game begins, obviously, Eddie's doing the pregame show, and he will do cut-ins. He'll say, Hank, what's going on out there? Tell us about this today. Tell us about that.
I guess something happened yesterday. Uh-oh. Yeah. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to talk about this because I think there may be, like, bad things happening. Disciplinary? Maybe. What? Forget it. I'll tell you. Yeah. This guy is shaking her head. Whatever. Covering her eyes. Going, oh, no. Well, it was on the air. Yeah, it would happen on the air. I mean, the guy asked about it. What happened? I don't know. You know. Me and Hank have had a good year together where we've been very respectful of each other. I even think we've had a good time. In fact, the break prior to that break, we had some good laughs. I was making Hank laugh, which is cool. So even yesterday you were getting along good. Yeah. And then we went to him for the injury report, which he gives us the inactives for the game. Right. It's just very important. Most Charger fans want to know who's playing, who's not playing. Right.
And for some reason, Hank was talking about Jacob Hester, who is the fullback for the team. He's a rookie. And he had his first start last week because he filled in for Mike Tolbert, who is the regular fullback, who's injured. And he was saying how great he thought Jacob Hester played. And now throughout the broadcast, you have to understand, I have been saying Jacob Hester had a horrible game. And he did. Oh, wow. Yeah. He had a awful game. I thought he played well on special teams, but when he was in that fullback, he whiffed on more blocks than I've seen a fullback miss in an entire season. Right. And I'm not the only one that thought that. The TV commentators were pointing it out. Yeah. So I felt kind of foolish not saying something at that point, being that I had been saying it most of the broadcast. Right. And Hank was going on and on about how great of a game Jacob Hester had. And so I interrupted him. I said, oh, now Hank. I go, I have to say, you know, I'm surprised you're saying this because I really thought that Jacob Hester had a terrible game. And I thought he whiffed on a lot of blocks. Now, what made you think he had a good game? Which I thought was a pretty fair question. Yeah, you'd love to hear that. And he said, he stopped, paused, and said, well, I'm not going to argue with you. And I said, well, I'm not trying to, you know, start an argument, Hank. I'm just trying to.
Get to the bottom of why you thought Jacob Hester had a good game. Yeah. Dead silence. Wow. Can we get audio of this? I'd have let it go forever. I'd have let it go. I just said dead air for four minutes. It went dead for quite a while because I didn't know what was happening. I thought, did his microphone go out? Are we having problems with the booth? Is it possible to get this audio? Yeah. Okay, we have to. We have to. Yeah. Fascinating. And so, you know, me and Laz then kind of look at each other and I'm like, I, you know, I don't know what happened. What was Laz's expression? He's like in shock. Like Laz is very non-confrontational. So he's like afraid of what's happening. Laz is the lead on the pregame show. Kind of the, you know, pit bull in me starts to get irritated that this is happening. Because I'm like. Why? Why is this happening? This is very unprofessional. And so I say, oh, I'm sorry. I disagreed with the great Hank Bauer. I know that that is not allowed here, so I apologize to you, Hank, that I disagreed with you. Shut up! You can't see me right now. My eyes right now just got the size of saucers.
Which made it worse, and that's my fault. What did he say? What did he say? He takes brass balls. Dead silence. And so Laz, again, tries to kind of, you know, quell the situation and be like, well, you know, okay, well, let's get back to the inactives. Dead silence. And so now at that point, Laz is like, well, we'll try and get you those. But it's Hank's job to give the inactives. So because there's silence, Laz says, well, we'll try to get you those later. Yeah. While everyone listening is going, whoa. Right. I don't even know what's happening, like why that was so offensive. Right. But. Is that how it ended? Then I think he kept like Laz kept trying to address Hank. And finally, Hank said, fine, I'll give them to you. And like half acidly gave him the inactives. And that was it. What? I didn't say another thing because I was like, well, apparently I'm a jerk because I disagreed with Hank. Which is just weird because, like I said, we've been cool. I've been with the guy for four years. And you've always been cool with him? We've had our dust-ups on the air before, but nothing to the point of where...
he would go dead silent. It's not like you said something like, oh, you're so stupid for thinking that. It wasn't like that at all. It's not like you didn't necessarily disagree with him. You were just like, can you please explain how you think that. How great would it be if when we listened to the tape, he actually said, well, you're so stupid for thinking that. It was pretty ugly. The next text message says, what a great game. Eddie, let's talk about the highlight of the night. Dot, dot, dot. You, dot, dot, dot. Hank, dot, dot, dot. Talk about it. Exclamation point. P1 Charger Junkie. I didn't know that it made that big of a deal. We got six phone calls this morning. Are you serious? Yeah, right when you opened the phones up, probably I answered ten, six of them. Hey, listen, if you heard it, 5701053, if you heard it. It wasn't the best of days for me and Hank.
Will there be a reach out? Will there be a, are we good? Brian B-Dub is the boss of the broadcast. He and I spoke about it, and he was doing something else at the time, and so he's going to listen to the tape, and he's going to figure out what needs to be done. So I really don't know. Honestly, this is just my thought. Eddie's been saying through the broadcast, you know, this thing about Jacob Hester. And, you know, Hank says what he says. Honestly, I sort of feel it would have been highly inappropriate for Eddie to not comment. That's kind of what I thought. Highly inappropriate. Just flat out inappropriate. Yeah, I really wasn't trying to be disrespectful about it. And that's, you know, my hand to God. I really wasn't. These are broadcasts for the team.
That's the kind of thing you're supposed to do. Well, that's my job. I mean, I'm getting paid to analyze the football game. And so, I mean, you know, I don't know if... I really don't know what Hank's thought process was. I don't know if he thought, you know, who is this clown? How dare he disagree with me? Which is what I think it was. Or that he thought I was trying to make him look like a fool or what. But I really wasn't. I mean, if he thought... Legitimately, Jacob Hester had a good game. I'd like to know why. Because me, personally, thought he didn't. And I've been saying it. I'd love to hear the audio on this. I'd love to hear the actual... We'll get it. Where can we get it? I'll have to find somebody over at Extra Sports to see if they have the... We have an entire thing of the tapes. Like a skim. We were able to do this the last time, too. The last game? No, no, no. Not the last time. What many fights am I missing here? Let's see. P1. Well, first of all, first things first. Craig mentioned being in the middle of Hawaii in a pool and a guy recognizing him from the Mikey show. That guy's on the line. Really? Yes. That's awesome. P1 Devo. The guy had just gotten married. Are you there, Devo?
How's it going, Mikey? Good, man. So you were out in Kauai? Yeah, my wife and I, on our honeymoon, we were floating through the pool. I'm like, hey, that's Craig Gass. She's like, no. I'm like, yeah, right there. We go up. I was going to say something like, you know, Tom Arnold, if I'm like, that's crazy. That's great. And then I'll say, hey, what's up, Craig? Yeah, he's totally freaked out. He's playing. Playing catch with a football with his girlfriend. And coolest guy in the world, man. Started asking us five million questions instead of like, I'm Craig Giles. Oh, he's a great dude, man. He's a good dude. He is not. Craig is every bit a celebrity but doesn't act like he is. And he's just a really cool and very laid back guy. Yeah, yeah. I'm so pumped he's on today, man, because I got to work at seven. I can't listen anymore. I'm happy for your podcast. It's a great way to hear it. I thought you guys disappeared. I gave them my email address, and I was like, you should email me, because I'm going to be performing in San Diego sometime in the next couple months, and you guys should come to my show, and I'll give you guys tickets. I was so happy that they made me feel cool in front of my girlfriend. That's awesome. Hey, thanks for the call, man. All right, now they're calling in. I heard the Hank Eddie thing yesterday. P1 Rude Dog.
Hey, what's up, Mikey? So explain where you are. Are you going to the game? Are you just driving around working? How did you hear this? I was sitting at home listening to the pregame show before I went out to go watch the game. And it didn't seem like that big of a deal until the silence came in. And silence seemed like an eternity. It was one of those moments. Oh, that's so awkward. I wasn't going to say anything. Get the audio, draw some stick figures, make a video of it, and put it on YouTube. Dude. You know, Hank just went totally silent and seemed very upset from that point on. Eddie, did you finally say, okay, well. That's when I said, I'm sorry that I disagreed with you, Hank. After the silence. Right, right, right. Hey, dude, thanks for calling. P1 Scooby's on the line. Scoob, you there? Yeah, what's up, dude? Did you go to the game? No, I didn't go to the game. I was listening to it on the drive home from work, listening to the pregame. And Eddie says, at one point in the whole exchange, Eddie says, you know, something about not being able to get a word in edgewise. Oh, yeah. What was that? There was one point when he goes, well, you interrupted me. No. I didn't even get my point out. You interrupted me about Hester. Yeah. And I said.
Well, I'm sorry, Hank. That's the only way I can get a word in edgewise. Yes. In all honesty, that I thought was I was just trying to be funny and like bust his chops a little bit. It was kind of before the uncomfortableness. Right. But he didn't like that either. You could feel the white elephant on the radio. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Well, did you not go to the game because it sounded too dangerous? That is funny. Hey, what's the Charger Raider game? What do you expect? There's going to be fights everywhere. Exactly. You're lucky he didn't shank you. Exactly. Man, dude, Eddie's giving me the break signal. No. And I'm like, but we can't. We have to be commercial free based on what I'm looking at in front of me. Yeah, it's going to be one of those days. Craig Gass is in the studio. You can call us at 570-1053. You can text us at 35253. This text says, Mikey, Eddie is a badass. That's P1 Tyler. That is true. Mikey, how about Eddie calling a guy on the line the Taco Bell dog because no one could understand him. That's P1 English guy.
Eddie, would you care to elaborate on calling one of the listeners? I had a great broadcast yesterday. Wow. I'm a little punchy, you know, obviously can be on the air all day. And the guy had a very thick accent, and I really didn't understand a word he said. And Brian was on the Fantasy Football Show was answering a question. I go, how did you understand that guy? I thought it was the Taco Bell Chihuahua. 105.3 is the phone number. Our text number is 35253. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Craig Gass is in the studio with us today. Never mind me. We got some stories to unravel here. Dude, hey, check this out. So we all know that Craig does an imitation of Gene Simmons, right? He was on the Gene Simmons roast on TV. On TV. And so how crazy are the stars aligning? Because...
none other than Paul Stanley is calling into the real Paul Stanley. Dude, he's doing an art exhibit here in town, and so he's calling in to promote it on the same day Craig is in the studio who does Paul Stanley. Mikey told me at the very end of the night last night, and I was like, what? I know. Eddie just told me, he's like, oh, by the way, we got Paul Stanley's calling in tomorrow, and it's kind of crazy because Craig's going to be here, and I was like, oh, dude, this is... This is going to be awesome. Isn't that awesome? Yeah. So, yeah, that's coming up on the show. And about a million other things. It would take me forever if I mentioned everything we're doing. Josh Lewin, the play-by-play plays for the Chargers, who sits next to Hank, is coming in in about 15 minutes. Yes. We could probably get his take on, I'm sure, what happened afterwards. I'm sure he didn't hear anything about it. Not at all. Dudes that are your friends, just call them up. All those guys you used to date, we're just friends. Come on. No, we're really good friends. Come on. We're very good friends. We're very close. Those guys are just hungry wolves. Sniffing the phone line for weakness. Hey, what's up? How you been? Oh my God, guys, I haven't talked to you forever. I'm so glad we stayed friends. Yay, me too, me too. Great show, everybody. Great show.
Concert information from Rock 105. I want to tell you, AIS has saved me $1,600 a year. I made the switch to AIS probably about four, five years ago, and this is what I remember about it. They didn't know who I was. I called in, and I knew that I wanted to do the commercials. They had come to me and said, hey, will you advertise? And I wanted to... call and do the thing myself just to walk through the process and know that you guys, P1s, we're going to get a fair deal. And so I called AIS. I got a quote from them.
Took me less than 10 minutes. I was paying $1,600 a year. I had farmer's insurance before I called AIS, and they switched me, and now I pay $1,600 less a year because of AIS. Boston Rob saves himself $1,400 a year by switching to AIS, and you should too. 1-800-777-4AIS. Which company has the Better Business Bureau honored more than a dozen times in the past three years? It's a Mikey show. Welcome back. It's 642. After a judge told Kid Rock that he can't do his community service by performing for the troops, out of anger, Kid Rock posted the judge's phone number and email on his website. Wow. Details on the Khalil Green trade have come out. The Padres get pitcher Mark Worrell and a player to be named later. I actually heard who the player is going to be, but I don't feel like I should comment on that. Oh, that's not right. You can tell us if you know. It's all right. I don't think I should. You don't want to? You're not going to say it?
All right. That's fine. Keep it to yourself. Although that's pretty good. Yeah, that's good information. I think everybody would want to know. Eddie. Yeah. Mark Worrell. Yeah, he is a minor league pitcher. Is he? Oh, he's a minor league pitcher. Did you say minor league pitcher? I think you misspoke already. No, no, no. I didn't. Okay. That can't be. Maybe he'll be just like Jake Peavy. He'll bring him up and he'll be the best pitcher in the league. He's actually a relief pitcher. For the minors? He, in five minor league seasons, is 12 and 17. Wait a minute. Eddie read it wrong. He's 17 and 12, you're saying. No, no, no. 12 and 17. He only had 83 saves in five years, so that's not bad. Oh, five years? I had 90 and I don't play. Right? That's the weird part. It's amazing because Warrell actually had an amazing season. He did? Yeah. And I thought he did great. You did? A lot of people did. And I thought he was really good. Why do you think that? Are you an opposite guy? I actually disagree with you respectfully. Oh, no. Oh, no. Is this going to be a... How many times? It's a Hank and Eddie situation. Eddie, have you not learned? Dead silence.
Dead silence. I just got that. I just got what Craig was doing because I had no idea. I was like, huh? I do have a question, though. Go ahead. We're talking about getting a lot of phone calls about what happened on air during the pregame broadcast that Eddie did, and apparently there was some tension on the air between you and Hank. Have you and Hank ever had a problem on the air before? Craig, you know what you're doing. You're such a shit, Craig. Stop it. He told me an amazing story, and I just want him to retell it. I mean, you know, Hank and I have been, you know, together for four years. And, you know, there's been times where we've... Like an all-married couple. Yeah, you know, we've disagreed. And I think, you know, I felt that this year was finally the year that Hank kind of started to respect me and kind of get where I'm coming from in the broadcast. And, you know, we've had some good stuff this year, I thought. And last year in the playoffs, Some people will remember that Hank and I had a disagreement about information that Hank did not want to divulge about Phillip Rivers' injury and Nate Kading's injury going into the Patriots game. What did he say? He basically said, I know what's wrong with him, but I'm not going to say.
And I said, I think that's irresponsible to go on the air. You guys have different philosophies of broadcasting. Your number one responsibility, Eddie, is to the listener and to give them everything they can. And with Hank, he has an allegiance to the players. Which I respect, and I'm fine with that, but don't go on the air and say, I know something you don't know. I totally agree with that. As an audience member, if I heard somebody say, I think I know what's wrong, but I'm not going to say. Or I know what's wrong, but I'm not going to say. I would be on the air. edge of my seat going what that's my team i heard that on the air and it kind of sounded like he was just trying to say oh well i know the guys and it's like dude like if you're gonna like you're figuring you're gonna get some kind of like oh dude we're getting the inside scoop this is awesome and he just was like nah i know but you know hank is hank and i think we all know that and and you know i i will still say i like hank yeah i i respect hank i think that the guy knows a lot about football he's coached he's played. He's broadcasted for something like 30, 40 years. Has he really? For 30, 40 years? He's been around for a long time. I got mad respect for him, but I have a responsibility. There's a reason why I'm on the broadcast and I've got to do what I've got to do, too. Sometimes those two things don't match. I think Eddie said it best earlier. He said, hey, listen, if it's the Chargers and the Raiders playing, you never know what's going to happen in the sky.
Were there any arrests last night? Well, there were quite a few, Mike. Let me just say that in the four years I've been doing the broadcast, I have never seen a more drunk crowd than I did yesterday. Was it because it was nighttime? I don't know, man. It was weird. I was walking back after the broadcast, and people were screaming drunk. Doing that whole thing where they're walking, carrying their drink in their hand, stumbling, doing the... Oh, no. Watching it on the NFL Network, like the halftime and pregame shows, people are just stumbling over the side rails trying to get on TV. Woo, Marshall Fogg. Oh, wow. Oh, man. Yeah, so there were dozens of arrests last night, mainly for alcohol. Cut 37. He had the beer and I got the ticket. I mean, I'm serious. Excuse me, sir. Check out. I can't hear you, dude. This is my first time coming to see the game. Wait a minute.
I was not ready for that. He had the beer and I got the ticket. I mean, I'm serious. If you're taking me, I'll be making his chick out. I can't hear you. This is my first time coming to see the game. Uncle Eddie, that's a dude I thought of. You weren't there. I'm out of breath because I just got out of Vista jail, dude. Why would you be in Vista jail? That doesn't even make sense. That's where my gang is, dude. So you got in a fight in North County from being at the game at Qualcomm. Yeah, that dude followed me, dude. I'm not sure. Nobody believes that. I was taking my homies home last night. You don't drive? You don't even have a license. No, I'm not, dude. I'm 28. No, you are.
And so I was driving home. When year were you born? 1940, dude. And so I was driving home, my homies, and we were like, before they were getting out of the car, we were giving each other our gang signs and everything. Oh, is that right? Yeah, because that's what you do. And then they'd like get out of the car and everything, and then this dude was following me, and I got out of my car. And I whipped off my white beater dude. And I was all, oh, really? You want some of these tattoos? And the dude was all, yeah, yeah, yeah. You want some of these tattoos? And so dude jumped out of his car, right? And he was all Mexican. And he had on a Raider hat. And I walked up to him. And he didn't know how tall I was until I got out of my car. And he was looking up at me. Oh, you're about 5'7". No, dude, I'm 6'2". You're puny. You're puny. And I was all, oh, look who's my lady now, huh? You're my lady. My lady. Yeah. Who's going to be my lady? That's so polite. That dude was, oh, no, that lady. So I headbutted him. Right.
Well, also last night, the fights continued in PB after some people who enjoyed the game were hanging out at the Firehouse Bar and Grill on Grand Avenue in PB. And I guess there was an exchange of words when Raiders fans started arguing with a Charger fan. And then the Charger fan told the Raider fans, go back to Oakland. And then the Charger fan left the bar a little bit after midnight and found that the Raider fans were waiting outside for him. That's different for them. They're such peaceful people. Five Raiders fans jumped this one dude and started beating the crap out of him. Luckily, there were police in the area who rolled up on the scene pretty quick and broke it up. Three of the dudes were arrested, but the Charger fan did need to go to the hospital. Thank God there was a cop around there. Who knows what would have happened. We got a text message that says, Mikey, have Craig do the voices of Hank and Eddie, but have them be Al Pacino and Christopher Walken. What about that? Not having the season he should. I thought he was phenomenal. No offense, but what are you talking about? We got to take a quick time out. When we come back, Craig Gass is in the studio, and we will be doing Craig Gass Theater today. How do you like that? How do you like that?
We're also going to be doing Ask the Oracle. Eddie is our sports Oracle, and you'll be able to ask him questions. I don't want to answer any questions today. Plus, we have Weekend Worry Ward on the show today, so you can call us and tell us what he freaked out about this weekend. What do you got going on you're nervous about? And also, Paul Stanley of the band Kiss, the lead singer of Kiss, is going to be calling in, and Craig does Gene Simmons. So how trippy is it that the day Craig is coming in, we got Paul Stanley calling. Unbelievable. To promote something. It's my lucky day. It's your lucky day. You guys are such a great force for San Diego and everyone listening. San Diego is really, really lucky to have you guys on the radio every morning. with a Mikey moment. Hello. Hey, guys. Barack Obama. Oh, this is a shock. Michelle, she just tickled me. We're just like normal people. That's how you show that you're normal? She tickled you? Right before I picked up the telephone, she tickled me. Okay. Hey, Barack. Well, I'm thrilled that we have appointed this New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson as Secretary of Commerce for several reasons, one of which is that he is from New Mexico. Yeah. But his name also sounds white, and I'm black, and so there you go. The Mikey Show continues. Rock 105. Got to have Craig tell you a great story about him being asked to do a Barack Obama impression at this event. We'll tell you about it a little bit later on. It is 7 o'clock exactly. Last night, a man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run in Alpine was arrested after being spotted pulling into a bar across the street from a candlelight vigil for the victim.
Sources say USC Offensive Coordinator Steve Sarkisian will be named the Washington head coach. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a full studio today. First of all, Craig Gass is in the studio with us. And you know Craig from doing various voices. Craig also used to be on the Howard Stern Show for a while and did voices sitting next to Howard for about a year. And then also... You also know Craig because he does a lot of roasts and does that kind of stuff. And so we actually have a clip of you doing the Gene Simmons roast. Oh, wow. And this is a clip of you at the Gene Simmons roast doing Paul Stanley. I'm a huge fan of Kiss. They are just in their interviews. I've seen some of the greatest arrogance. I think every rock band should have. This is a direct quote. The interviewer said. A lot of people think that KISS should give it up. What do you say to those people? And I'm quoting Paul Stanley, the lead singer of KISS, his exact response. You know, the thing about being in KISS is a lot of bands don't even get invited to the big dinner, but we're the kind of band that likes to stick around for the roles.
It's on television. I saw him at a concert once, and I was just walking right past him, and he goes, Craig Gantz. And I go, hey, what's going on? He goes, how come you don't do an impression of me? And I go, uh, I do. I don't think you want to hear it. Come on, let me hear it. And I started walking towards him, and I was editing out every gay joke I've ever done about him. Wow. into like a cartoon character. Right, right, right. But let's get to the story at hand. We got a juicy, juicy story here. Well, Josh Lewin's in the studio with us. I don't want to kill the juicy story. I like the juicy story. No, that's actually what we're talking about. Oh, that one. Well, I was hoping there was something else. Me too. Yeah, Eddie, what happened? First of all, let me just let everybody know, Josh Lewin is the play-by-play announcer for the San Diego Chargers, whom, by the way, Whom's voice I heard all over television this morning on ESPN because your call was great last night. Well, there was no other games. It was a very short game. Josh, you also had a pretty exciting call last night, and I was listening to it. If you've never heard the broadcast here on Rock 105.3 of the San Diego Chargers, you've got to tune in because Josh is great. His broadcast partner is Hank Bauer, and we were talking about it this morning. It was kind of a big story.
A little bit of a... Well, there was some creative tension, I think. A little bit of creative tension. We actually... Well, we have it. We have it. So we're going to listen right now to what happened last night during the pre-game broadcast with... Josh's partner, Hank, and Eddie on the radio. Eddie's head looks like a tomato right now. It's like bright red. This is the reason why... I'm still steamed about it. Oh, no. This is the subject that the first half dozen phone calls that came in this morning were about. Absolutely. It's so weird. Jacob Hester's going to start at fullback. And you know what? Jacob Hester quietly is having a heck of a season. I mean, as a rookie, he's your second leading, third leading special teams tackler. He does everything well. We've watched him on offense. Now he's making good blocks as a fullback. He's obviously a very nifty receiver. Now, hold on a second, Hank. I agree with you. He's played great on special teams. He had a great fake punt last week. But he whiffed on more blocks last week than I've seen. By the way, just a little setup here. Eddie had sort of been echoing this thought throughout the broadcast. And so when Hank is saying what a great player he is, that's Eddie. And it's not just Eddie.
I mean, we all have been talking about it. And not only that, but the TV commentators last week were pointing it out. So you felt compelled to defend a position you had already taken on the air? Absolutely. I would have felt, you know, irresponsible if I didn't. So here we go. I've seen a fullback make in an entire season. All right. Okay, that's your opinion, and I respect that. I mean, I was shocked to hear you say that. End of discussion. I'm not going to get in an argument with you. I'm just telling you, this guy is a... First of all, you didn't let me finish. Okay? You interrupted me. Second of all, at least have the respect to let me finish. Okay? I can't get a word in otherwise with you, Hank. I have to interrupt you every once in a while. Oh, okay. I guess Hank is done. I really apologize. Okay. So, Jacob Hester, is he not playing? Oh, he is playing. Did you think Jacob Hester had a good play? Oh, no, I thought he missed a few blocks. I don't know. That's all I was saying. I didn't mean to offend you, Hank. I wasn't watching the special teams play, but just on offense, yeah, he missed a few blocks. And you can tell LT was pissed off about it. But, you know, on to next week. We will make an effort to get the enactment for the Raiders to you. Are you kidding me? We're not allowed to talk here? Hank, you still there? Yes, for the Raiders.
Okay, great. Johnny Lee Higgins starts for Ashley Lee. Okay, so that was the ultimate just, yeah. Wow. See, I hadn't heard that from your end. All I heard was from up in the booth, you know, and knowing that there was some tension there. So I can kind of picture your visual, Eddie. It's one of extreme discomfort, not knowing exactly what's up. Because you can't see. You guys are down in the parking lot. And we're up, I mean, literally probably, what, 1,500 yards away from you? We can't see each other. So there's no, I think, here's my Dr. Phil moment. If you guys had been face-to-face and looking at each other, there would have been smiles, there would have been some back and forth, not seeing each other. I was lighthearted about it. I know that. And I get that from how you were. And your comment about, you know, you never let me get a word in edgewise, it's just total ball busting. That's what guys do. I get that. It was an uncomfortable booth, let's put it that way. Yeah, he definitely didn't like you horning in right there. So what did he look like? You're right next to him when it happens. He didn't look happy. Yeah. Happy is not a word I would use for that. Also, you wouldn't use the word happy. I wouldn't go with joyful. I wouldn't go with satisfied, gratified. And you are aware of what's going on? You're listening to that as it's happening? All I knew was that something was wrong because I knew he was supposed to be on the air. And he wasn't. I mean, you know, so I didn't hear. That's the first time I've heard your end of it, Eddie. What about tickled, Josh? Not tickled. No, it was not tickled.
So you notice it was unusual, too, because you heard silence next to you. Well, there's nothing that commands, and Mikey, feel free to disagree, there's nothing that commands attention on live radio more than silence. I agree with that 150%. Because even if you're just driving in your car and only 1% paying attention, you know something's really wrong. I will tell you something. Silence is the loudest thing I've ever heard on the radio. Well, it's powerful. I mean, it's very powerful. It's an alarm bell that something's really wrong. It can be used in a variety of ways. And I use it here. Sky and I have talked about this at length. What do we always say? The filler. Yeah, something filler. A space filler. And I like moments where sometimes I'm just sort of... It's like an advertiser with white space. I'm just looking through papers and whatever. It makes me come out of my skin, so I feel like I need to say something. It's powerful, the silences. They get people's attention, but I'll tell you, that was an example of it. That was a powerful silence. That was a long silence. Listen, it was a couple guys got a little irritated with each other. They were going at it. Here's what I will say. I hope, I really genuinely do hope that...
You guys can sort of, you know, hey, man, are we good? Are we good? You know, I don't have a problem with Hank. I don't. And I know that the situation was Hank being Hank. And so, you know, it's kind of like being a teammate of Manny Ramirez. It's Manny being Manny. That's what Hank does. And so I don't have a problem with him. I still don't. And, you know, it is what it is. Well, he's passionate. I mean, he loves the Chargers. And, you know, this is a lukewarm defense of that side of it. But, you know, it was time for him to give his opinion. He wanted to give his opinion. And, you know, the way he perceived it is you weren't letting him give his opinion because you have one of your own. And if you feel like you had any part in it and you like anything you might change or you might go, ah, you know. You know, I've done multiple broadcasts with the guy for four years and I've never not been able to say my thing, him say his thing. And we kind of, you know, we can agree to disagree. And he busts my chops way more than I bust his chops. And so I don't. I don't know how I would have handled it differently. I never would have expected that. I would have expected him to be like, I don't know, I thought he did this well. He always says, I went back and looked at it on film.
You know, I saw this and this and this, and I've been like, I mean, what do I say to that? Or to at least be playful about it and go, you know, and have some kind of a playful disagreement about it. Well, that's kind of weird that it immediately pushed him back. That's what I tried to make it. No, and that's why I say if you guys had been in the same room, nothing would have escalated. You could have seen from the look on your face that, hey, it's just friendly ball bust. I'm not serious. Right. And really, if I would have thought that it would have upset him, I really don't care that much. I know. You guys will be cool. There's no doubt. I'm not really worried about it. I'm glad that there's 10 days between. I think a cooling off period is not a bad idea. I don't know. Did Eddie mention that he was looking for backup? I didn't hear him tell that part of the story that when Hank started to say his position that Eddie went, I don't know. I think that's just suck. What say you, Jeff? What say you? Well, Griff, Robert Griffith, he tried to alleviate the situation. You heard him try and get in there once that dead silence was happening. Since he did that, I was like, maybe I'm wrong. You know, Griff, you played 13 years in the league. What'd you see? Right. You know? And if I'm wrong, I'll say I'm wrong. I ain't got no problems with that. I thought it was great radio, guys. Keep it up. But is there 32 teams in the league? Uh-huh. There was probably not been in week 16 or whatever it was. There was 13. There's probably not one broadcast.
In all 32 cities that was quite like that one. The occasional verbal haymaker from 1,500 yards away, that's cool. I got no problem with that. And you know what? Not for nothing, great win last night. That was a good time. Amen. No stabbings in the parking lot that we know of, and it was all good. Raider fans, thank you. Oh, wasn't there one? Well, we got a couple arrests. Yeah, a couple arrests. A couple fights afterwards in PB. And some great audio. Yeah. Headbutt. Yeah, some incredible audio. Wow. Hey, well, I will say this. It ain't over, fellas and ladies. That's right, Joshy. I forgot. I'm sorry. Thank you. No, there's still a possibility that there will be playoff football in San Diego. Right, because Denver just has to lose everything. Not even everything. Denver loses once. That sets up the possibility for the Chargers if they keep winning. Really? Chargers cannot lose. They have to win out. Well, yeah, it gets complicated. Because they've got to beat the Broncos. Right, but between now and then. You know what I'm saying? There's three more games for the Chargers. If they win them all, there's actually...
Fairly decent shot Week 17 means something. Is there a chance that the Chargers could lose a game between now and the end of the season and based on something Denver does, still get in? If Denver loses at home to Kansas, if Denver loses every game between now and Week 17 and the Chargers lose just one. The Chargers could lose one. Yeah, they could, right, because they just need to get back to within one to make Week 17 matter. So it could happen. I think it's going to be a little more interesting than we thought it was going to be. Because of Hank and Eddie? No, not because of Hank and Eddie. You know what? That's a lovely side note. It really is. Thanks, fellas. I've got to run. All right, dude. Thanks for coming in. Josh Lewin. Awesome. All right, we've got to take a quick time out. And when we come back, Craig Gas Theater will be on the air. Craig Gas. Jets defensive end Sean Ellis was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, speeding, and driving without insurance after being pulled over by the police last weekend. people to come into the studio. And so we have two people that won today. And they got a backstage laminated pass to come and hang out. They hang out throughout the whole show. Very nice. Thank you to Mondo's Baja Mexican who provided catered food for our listeners. Dude, I had that. They brought it to the paintball thing that we did out at Qualcomm. Delicious, man. So, so good. Mondo's Baja Mexican. Three locations in San Diego. One of them is in Mission Valley right next to the Ikea. The other one's Linda Vista Road. And then they got a third one on Las Bosas in San Marcos, which that's right by my neck of the woods up north. Although, I like all that stuff. Side of lard, please. That's right. Craig Gass is in the studio with us today. Yes! And as you know, Craig does voices. Yes! This is Craig doing Gene Simmons on the roast. The next thing out of Gene's mouth for no reason.
Oh, God help us. That's Gene in the background. You know what Paul is saying is absolutely true. Crazy dude. The great thing about being in Kiss is some people like steak, and some people like ice cream. But you don't have steak with ice cream, and that's why Kiss is so great. Oh, that is so awesome, dude. They edited out of the roast... I did a series of Gene Simmons is so cheap jokes. And then the crowd chants, how cheap is he? And I said, he's so cheap. Instead of paying for a wig, he shaves Paul Stanley's butt. He started laughing so hard that I started laughing and I was staring at him and I just blurted out the words. What the hell is on your head? That is great. That's so true. He laughed all the way through, but they edited it out. That's funny. Okay. So, Craig, are you ready to do this? I'm ready, and the kiss army is behind me. All right. Speaking of, Paul Stanley's calling in today. The real Paul Stanley. Awesome! Not like a goofy, funny thing.
The real Paul Stanley. The real Paul Stanley. And by the way, it's going to be a great interview, and I know. Do you know how I know? How do you know? It's already available at kissonline.com. Click on the Mikey icon. Later. $29.95. Later, will you be able to tell, or is it, I don't know if it's for air, the Sebastian Bach story and going over to Gene's house? Oh, yeah. Great story. A phenomenal story. Great story about Sebastian Bach going to Gene Simmons' house. I've been getting these really weird gigs. I'm performing with Alice Cooper next week. I did a show I opened for Poison in Vegas a couple months ago. And one of the opening acts that was on before me was Sebastian Bach. And he told me this crazy story about Gene, about going to his house. How nuts is that? So random. We'll do that next break. We'll come back. We'll tell you about that. But right now, I think it's time for us to... slip into a little Craig Gass theater. Oh, I love it. This is the way that it works. This is the way that it works. We have Craig do the voices of characters that you know and love from movies, but his characters take them over. So our first one, everyone's favorite claymation movie, right, Eddie? No. No, it's not claymation. It's animation, I guess. Oh, no, that is not the deal.
It is claimatory. It's a claimatory. What is it? Frosty is animated. Frosty is animated. Actually, can I just say that? Tom Arnold. Tom Arnold, I think it's actually called a hallucination. No, no, no. It is not a hallucination. It's animation. I love that. Because, you know, I was in a meeting with you a couple weeks ago. No, Tom, don't tell you. You're not supposed to tell people that. Second A. Second A in the AA. Remember that? Meatloaf is actually my higher power. No, no, no. We talked about that, bro. I'm not supposed to say that, but Meatloaf was telling me a couple weeks ago. He's like, Tom. You're giving away his anonymity. Tom. I was in my underwear. Can you please tell people that? Arnold. One day at a time. Instead of the lovable voice of Frosty the Snowman. Can I stop for one second? I ran into Tom Arnold a week ago in Vegas for the first time. Wait a minute. I go, Tom. And he goes, I'm Craig Gass. And he goes, Oh, man.
You're great. You're really great. I'm guessing he knows that you do, Tom Arnold. That is awesome. That's fantastic. And he also knows that the whole deal with the Tom Arnold impression is... I really appreciate it. Thanks. Ladies and gentlemen, instead of Frosty the Snowman today, you're going to be hearing the voice of... It's going to be recast. And Frosty will be played by none other than Tracy Morgan. Okay, wait. That's right. Saturday Night Live's Tracy Morgan. I will be doing the role of the child. And our very own Craig Gass will be doing... I'm sure this will be heartwarming. Yes, it will. Tracy will be the voice of Frosty the Snowman. I'm going to be the voice of Frosty the Snowman. Remember, Frosty is a white dude.
Snow, forget it. Oh, look, you guys, the hats. Let's see if it'll stay alive again. Oh, man. Oh, my God, I said my first words. But snowmen can't talk, can they? All I know is snitches get stitches. It's a children's movie. Wait a minute. What's the joke? Could I really be alive? I mean, I can make words. I can move. I can juggle. I can sweep. I can count to ten. One, two, three, four, five, nine, six, eight. I can count to five. Yes, I can play craps. What do you know? I'm ticklish. In fact, all living. I am alive. What happened to a guy like me? Uh-oh.
Uh-oh. Uh-oh. There must be a thermometer around here. Oh, yes, Frosty, over there. Oh, I was afraid of that, little white kid. Thermometers getting red, and I hate red thermometers. You do? Why, Frosty? Because when the thermometer gets all reddish, the temperature goes up. And when the temperature goes up, I start to melt. And when I start to melt, I get all wishy-washy. Well, then you gotta go someplace. It's getting hot in here. I'm taking off all my head and scars. The only place I never melt is the North Pole. Well, then we gotta get you there, Frosty. We'll take you downtown to the train station. And we'll put you on the train. Don't you want kids on the subject? Let's make a party of this. We're going to have a parade. Ladies and gentlemen, Mickey Morgan as Frosty the Snowman. Really good. So good. I truly enjoyed that. Happy birthday!
Are you ready to have another casting, another recasting of one of your favorites? This time it's going to be everybody's favorite. Can we get one bit at a time? Oh, wait a minute. Get out of here. Ladies and gentlemen, this time we're going to do the famous movie, A Christmas Story. It's like TBS all over again. Who doesn't remember the Christmas story? It's the story with little Ralphie with the Red Ryder BB gun. Everyone's afraid that he'd shoot his eye out. That's true. In this casting of A Christmas Story, instead of Little Ralphie playing Little Ralphie and Big Ralphie as the narrator, we're going to replace Little Ralphie and Big Ralphie with Al Pacino. Okay, wait a minute. I don't know that that is a good choice. I will be doing the role of Santa and Al Pacino. What would he sound like if he had been in this movie? Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
What's your name there, little boy? What do you want for Christmas, little boy? My mind had gone blank. Practically, I tried to remember what it was I wanted. I was blowing it, blowing it. How about a nice football there, little boy? What's a football, you moron? With unconscious will, my voice squeaked out, football. All right, get him out of here. Let's get him out of here. Football? Oh, no, what was I thinking? Wake up, stupid. Wake up. No, no. I want an official Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot range model air rifle. Hoo-ah! Get out, kid! Merry Christmas!
That will be a fantastic recasting if it ever happens. I love Al Pacino. He made great movies. Is that right, Tracy? You know when his movies are the best? When? After Family Court. All right, folks. For our last movie, it's going to be The Grinch. Yes. We're talking original style, right? Yeah. The original Grinch. Only this time, instead of the lovable voice that we know and we've seen growing up, it's going to be replaced by Sam Kinison. Wait. So you just have to imagine that Sam Kinison had been cast as the Grinch. And what would that sound like? My God. I can't believe it. Tomorrow is going to be Christmas. It's practically here. I've got to find a way to stop Christmas for coming. For tomorrow, I know. All those girls and boys will rise bright and early. They'll rush for their toys and then all the noise, noise, noise.
If there's one thing I hate, it's all that noise, noise, noise. They'll beat their blunt bloopers. They'll whack their whoompers. They'll play their noisy games like Zuse and Kazay, a roller skate tie for lacrosse or coquet. They'll make car-splitting noises and looks on their great big clag diggin' who cardio snooks and the who's young and old and sit down to feast. They'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll feast and they'll do that. Sam Kinison as the great show. That's fantastic. By the way, in case you didn't hear, we're going to have Paul Stanley calling into the show today. The real Paul Stanley. That's right. And our very own Craig Gass does the voice of Gene Simmons. Oh, no. And I quote him. So that's going to be nice. Oh, by the way, guess who's going to be calling in the show this hour because he's friends with Craig and he's like, yeah, I'll just call in. So cool of him to do this. Dude, Jim Brewer.
Jim Brewer. I love Brewer. Yeah, man. Jim Brewer used to be on Saturday Night Live. He's been in movies. One of the top five comedians I've ever seen in my life. Really? And the only comedian, like most great comedians I watch, I just go, oh, I want to be able to do that. He's the only comedian I've ever seen perform that I went, I should probably stop. Really? Just give up. I watched him do a show at a theater in, I think it was called Torrington, Connecticut. And I went, I'll never be this funny. Really? It was the only time I ever thought in my life I should stop doing comedy. What is his deal? Is it the physical part of it? He's such a performer. He brings it. You can't walk away without thinking that was a phenomenal show. Even just telling stories. He's just an amazing storyteller. And he just destroys. I think he's got a radio show on satellite, right? Yeah, on Sirius Satellite Radio. That's a trip. And he travels the country. He's just a good dude. Travels with his dad, brings his dad on the road with him on his tour bus. Wow. And he's got a lot of stories, but he's just a phenomenal storyteller. Yeah, and a good guy. Don't go away.
performing up the road in Ontario, California. Is he really? Yeah, at the Improv up there. It is 7.42. A man was arrested last night after allegedly kidnapping a man at gut point and then stabbing him in the Poway Walmart parking lot. Chargers got a nice win last night beating for the 11th straight time. The Raiders 34-7. Phillip Rivers says, don't give up. We said it last week. We're going to keep playing. The odds may be slim, but the crazier things have happened and can happen. We got two left, one at a time. Go get Kansas City first, but let's go. fight like crazy to win these next two, and who knows? Maybe that last one will mean something. Eddie, so we got a text here about it that says, Oracle, I'm sick of hearing that losing Merriman's the defense's problem. When he was suspended for four games, they were still awesome, so what about last night, too? That's P1 Corey. What do you think, Eddie? I think it was a change in defensive philosophy. Having Ron Rivers in there. Very aggressive blitzing. They moved Sean Phillips to the weak side, and that helped a lot. Phillips was in the quarterback's face a bunch, causing turnovers. He sacked the quarterback, I think, two or three times. It's just a change in philosophy, and it worked. They needed to do that a long time ago, and unfortunately, it's a little too little too late. Do you think that we'll see?
more of that, like, more of this, you know? They'll keep doing that philosophy and it'll still continue to be effective. Yeah, absolutely. It worked. I thought it was great. I think it was us playing that P.O.D. song at the end of the show. Oh, wow. I really think so. You never know. You never know. People are writing in and commenting about Craig Gas Theater and someone said, Craig's voices were amazing. I loved Frosty. But who was that with Frosty? Edward Furlong? Mikey, I was waiting for your Edward Furlong to say, you can't just go around killing everyone. That sounds like a South Park character. It does. That's P1 Red Sox. Mikey, Sam Kinison as the Grinch had me in tears. Thank you so much. That made my morning. P1 stupid hot. Mikey, can you ask Skye if Lost Season 4 DVD comes out next Tuesday? I'm just curious. I wanted to know that's P1. Well, I know that Dark Knight does. It's huge. That's Skye because that's like her big moment. She gives up those. You're stealing her thunder. Don't go Hank Bauer on me. Can't we just talk like people?
Well, somebody texted, messaged, somebody text messaged here that maybe the way that we can kind of get it all worked out is we have Hank come in and you and Hank do an episode of I Don't Like It When. No. No. He will not get that. He went instant classic. I hope Eddie doesn't mind me saying this. I hope that they take this audio, put it on YouTube, and just attach some funny pictures to it. Wow. Like do an animation of little stick figures. An animation or just like. Still pictures of us. Still pictures of you shouting. There's so much you can fill in in the silent part. Well, here's the thing. They're both good, man. I want you guys to be friends and kind of talk and work it out and resolve it and everything, you know? It's a sweet sentiment. I do. I want you to. I really do. It's going to be fine. I'm really not worried about it. I'm really not worried about it. Will there be reach-outs or will it just kind of go and like... Resolve itself on its own. It'll probably resolve itself. Yeah. I mean, if he wants to talk to me, I have no problems. I'll talk to him. A Mikey show. Was it me or was it weird having Marty call into the broadcast? I didn't feel it was necessary. It's not the view. It's football. That's P1 Veruca. Was that on TV? Yeah. What happened? They had Marty Schottenheimer on the phone during the broadcast at one point and were asking him all about the way he got fired.
about AJ, about the current team. What was he saying? You know, he told the truth. He said, you know, me and the general manager didn't get along, and, you know, I lost out. And, you know, they asked him, well, was it because you wanted to bring your brother in as a defensive coordinator? And he said, yeah, that was part of it, you know, that I thought, you know, I wanted him to come in for an interview. They wanted to hire Ted Gattrell, and that was kind of the downfall of what happened. And so then they asked him, you know, well, do you want to... still coach, and he said, no, I'm done. Doesn't want to do it anymore. Can't do it. It is kind of weird. That was two years ago. Why are we still talking to Marty Schottenheimer? When we turned the page, it was kind of odd. During the game, it was odd. I can understand during the pregame, you kind of want to feel stuff, but during the broadcast of the game, it was while the game was being played. Yeah, it was like in the third quarter. Yeah, like end of the third. It was real weird. That is strange. Mikey, where is Pamplemousse located. That's P1 May. It's on Via De La Valle. If you get off on Via De La Valle, you head west. I'm thinking about the burger right now. Greg loves it, man. He loves it. A. Mikey, I am looking for a Christmas present for my dad, and I was wondering how you like your Kindle. Thank you. That's signed P1 San Jose. I love the Kindle, man. If you don't know what the Kindle is, you get it at Amazon.com.
It looks like a, well, they call it the iPod for books. So if you like reading, this thing's great. It works like a cell phone. And so it's this very light little device that you read on. You can be sitting at the airport and connect like a cell phone. Browse books, thousands of books. You find this bestseller you're into. Maybe you don't want to buy it. You just want to see, I wonder if I'll like this. You click on send me a sample. They'll send you wirelessly a little sample that you could read a few pages and go, yeah, I'm into it. Yeah, I'm not. And if you like it, you buy it. They're cheaper than buying books in the store because you're downloading them on there. And you download an entire book in a few seconds. Better for the environment. Yeah. So cool. But not just books. You can also wirelessly have a newspaper delivered to your Kindle. You turn it on in the morning and you're reading that day's paper. The funnies. You can get magazine subscriptions, newspaper subscriptions. You can read people's blogs. You can buy books. It's a really neat device, and I like it. I think it would make a great present. But from what I heard, it's so popular, you can't buy it right now. You have to get on a waiting list. No.
Apparently you can, like, send threatening emails as well. I didn't know that you could do that. I didn't know who you are. Sean, I didn't know that was a part of it. I'm just saying, not from experience or anything, but it really works. Oh, wow. That's a strange thing. Craig is friends with Jim Brewer. Later in the show, we're going to be hearing from Jim because he's going to be calling in. And you remember Jim doing the goat boy. Oh, yeah. Remember he did that on Saturday night, right? Oh, yeah, dude. Classic. How did you guys meet? Just doing the club thing and playing comedy clubs? I met him backstage at a Metallica concert. Really? Yeah, and he's friends with one of the guys in Metallica. I'm actually friends with everyone. Okay, Lars. Hey, Lars. Hey, what's up? This is Lars Ulrich. I remember the first time I saw Jim. I was like, hey, man, check it out. It's that... friggin moose guy or whatever it is the goat guy or whatever it is you do and i got really close into his face and i started speaking in my weird kind of pattern that i speak stops every five seconds so i can sniffle
And I met him backstage at the show and said, hey, man, I'm a comedian. And I do impressions. And I started doing voices. And I could tell he was... Digging it. And baked. Oh, yeah. Really? No. He was just smiling like, whoa. Touching your face. And I go, man, should I, you know, who should I talk to? And he was like, dude, whatever you're doing, just relax. Just relax. I love him. It'll come to you, dude. It'll come to you, man. You don't want to push because if you push too bad, if you push too much, you'll get too quick, too fast, and you'll die. And you'll be like Sam Kinison. You'll die in a pile of blow. Whoa. And he said, relax. Just take it easy. Did it work? And, yeah, he actually remembered more about that conversation than I did years later when I brought it up to him. But, yeah, he's always been a really good guy. And, again, still one of the top five comics of all time, performers I've ever seen. You're all a bunch of pot-smoking people like the Jim Brewer and the Goaty, the Goat Man. Why is this happening? Neil Diamond doesn't really care for the youth of today. I'll tell you why, because I don't like young people, and I know that have to.
Half roast guy there that does the thing. This is a song I wrote about Jim Brewer. I hope you enjoy it. I think Metallica's going to be doing a cover of this later this year. Hey, Lars, why don't you try to sing along with me, you dumb smoking freak? I think you just insulted me to my face. Listen, I have wooden shoes like the one you're wearing that are older than you, punk guy. Of course, because I'm from Denmark. What the hell is Denmark? That's what I want. He's all about America. Let's do some Christmas songs. What are you going to say? Oh, really? Happy holidays. That would be great. You want to do some Christmas songs? Yeah. I'm trying to get into the Christmas spirit, if you don't mind. Okay. Steve. You ready for this? Okay. I'm warming up my pipes. Yeah, get them ready. Maury? I'm sitting Indian style and I'm listening. Go ahead. That's cute. That's cute. And a one and a two and a one, two, three and frosty. The snowman was a filthy hippie jerk. Smoking his pipe and smacking his dope and I hope Santa gives him cold. Okay. Look at that in my face. That is not right or appropriate.
Come over here. Look at my fat manager sitting over in the corner pretending that none of this is happening. He is a good person. He's not a good person. He's taking good care of you, Neil. Yeah, Maury, why don't you tell Eddie about how good you were the time that you and my wife snuck off together in 1967. Why don't you tell him? Why is he still your manager? Neil Dining. Neil, it's Tom Arnold. I think what you're experiencing is something we call stinking thinking. I know what you're talking about. I learned that one time at an AA meeting. I'm friends with you. Actually, my sponsor is Pat Boone, who you wouldn't even... Hey, we're on the radio. You're not supposed to say that, Greg. That microphone is on. I'm trying to get Neil some help. Okay, he's fine.
He likes his scotch. Just between me and you, buddy. Listen, I was at a meeting just two weeks ago with Ozzy Osborne. You're not supposed to say that, Craig. You're not supposed to say that. If you ever see anybody in hell, you've got to reach out to them. You're not supposed to say that. I do that every week. Mikey, shut your mouth. Craig's right for crying out loud. Craig, let me tell you something. Those kids out there today, they're all trying to get high, and they're Mario Brothers, and they're Super Mushroom High. What? What? Dashing through the snow, drinking prison wine, o'er the fields we go, Maury's twice my size, hey, hey, hey. Jingle bells, jingle bells, teens are all on lewds. What? Smoking grass and dropping pills and laughing all the time. Oh, that's funny. Oh, yeah, it's real funny. Oh, here we go. My true love gave to me a $10 shot of JD. Next day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Some kind of strange skin rash. I think if we package this and make it an album and put some crosses on it, you got yourself a hit. Couldn't wash it off, had to perform, lost the over, under, and Maury embezzled me. Take it easy, no cocaine. Okay. That's all you know. By the way, are you holding any of that, by the way, if you have any? No. Come on. No. Stop it, you two. I'm not, but I know where to find it. Again, the microphone is on it. Just take Interstate 8. Here's a little song. You always got to head east. Let me tell you something. This is a little song I wrote for my niece last week. Are you ready to hear it? Oh, yeah.
It's just to teach you a lesson. I'm doing this because I'm trying to educate. Are you ready? I'm speaking later today at Cajon High School, and let's do it like this, all right? This is the one I wrote for my niece. Somebody get my friend Chris Wicker on the front. He's a drug dealer at El Centro. Hey! My niece. Your mouth's shut over there, all right? Oh, okay. All right. Jingle drugs, shooting slugs, coughing up some blood. All right, now, here we go. What's the problem? I'm trying to help. Hang on. This is what they call just showing it to you. Show it to them like this. They don't want to do it anymore, Eddie. That's the point. You understand? Sometimes they have to hear it the hard way. Old Uncle Neil's going to go ahead and clean up the streets now. You bunch of dirty hippie. Better watch your back bunch of... When he throws it, I think it's hilarious. No. That's not how you break a hand off a guitar. Frosty the dope man had a very runny nose. Yeah, like Lars? With a big glass pipe and a bag of coke and he was made entirely out of blow. Okay, that's enough. That's actually true. That's a true story. That is a true story. Metallica did a tour of...
Santa Claus' village up in the North Pole. Oh, really? True story. Lars, have you ever heard this one? The city sidewalk, smoking ice rock. I don't remember it. This is going to teach the kids. Hang on. This is going to teach the kids a lesson. Sometimes they have to see it hardcore, then they don't go there. I'm right there with you, Neil. City sidewalk, smoking ice rock, a heated spoon with cocaine. But I can't seem to find a plump face. This is to scare them straight. It scares them straight. It scares them straight. I think it's like the first wave of British heavy metal's great imagery. I don't even know what he's talking about. I'm out. Thank you, Rob. Rob, you are enabling him. Hey, Maury, why don't you take that Miracle Whip out of your mouth for a second so I can talk to you over here. Abdominal snowman. Someone should write a Christmas song about how it's snowing Miracle Whip out of your mouth. Maury, Maury.
You are such a fat pig. And in order to move you, I'd need a forklift. You are so fat. You are so fat. I'm sorry, that's a song there for morning. That kind of brings me back to a bad place. What's wrong with the B string on this, Tom? You see the B string on my guitar? Why don't you take that out? I just got attacked last week in rehab by a guy by the name of Danny Bonucci. He's been relapsing for four months, barely. I got one more and I gotta go. Here we go. Right here. Well, you better watch out. You better not cry. You better put down the drugs, you filthy Rosie O'Donnells, because Uncle Neil is coming to town.
And I'm making and checking out mom and a what? Wait a minute. Hang on a second. By the name of Tom Brokaw, who I met in a meeting last week. I don't know you're supposed to say that, actually. It's probably not. Tom, you probably shouldn't do that. This is outrageous. This is outrageous. Well, the point of it is you've got to scare those kids straight, right, Neil? That's right. That's the entire point of doing it. What are you, just tuning in, stupid? Craig Gass is in the studio. Paul Stanley calling in with a Gene Simmons impersonator and this the Gene Simmons impersonator. Craig Gass is here on the day Paul Stanley's calling. That's pretty good news. Don't go away, ladies and gentlemen. We got a great show for you today. In fact, I got some interesting info for you when we come back. Wait till I tell you who they're...

It is 8-14. Kathy Griffin says she tried to make up with Clay Aiken for all the years of calling him Gakin, and he refused. Really? Whoa. Breaking news. The New England Patriots have signed 39-year-old linebacker Junior Seau to finish the season. Wow. Wow. Now our average linebacker age went down to like 50. Dude. That is a trip. Unbelievable. The guy's still doing it, I guess. Junior's going to play again. Yeah. That's nuts. Hey, just wanted to let people know that I am going to be emceeing the third day show tomorrow night. How will always be true? They're going to be playing at the Rock Church, and you can get tickets by going to milesahead.com. And I am nervous because I don't fancy myself a good emcee. Just think about my Maynard interview. It can't be worse than that. Whatever happens is better than that. Yeah, because that was awful, man. You know what I do now? A lot of times people will ask me if I can emcee stuff, and I'll say, you know, I know a couple people that are really good at this, and I kind of send them that way. Now, I say, if you got some... I'm much more serious off the air, you know? So I do serious stuff. Like, I tell them, I say, listen.
Can I come out to this fun-sounding event and tell the story of my childhood? Because there's a lot to be learned from it. I mean, it's my testimony. Hey, we're trying to blow up balloons for the kids. You guys still having that fun event? Yeah. Can I bring it down? Yeah. Do you guys need a bring-down? You hiring a bring-down? Yes. Anyway, it's going to be tomorrow night. It's at the Rock Church. If you want to go and see Third Day performing in a small venue, last time they were here in San Diego, they were at... An AA meeting. No, no, no, they were not. They were at Coors, which is now, ironically, Coors Amphitheater. And now Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. So if you want to see them in a small venue, that's where they're going to be. Tomorrow night, tickets available at milesahead.com. You want to go. Before we went to break, I said, wait till you hear who the New York Post is reporting they want to play Tinkerbell. Oh, Courtney Love. No, it is not Courtney Love. Neil Patrick Harris. It is not Neil Patrick Harris. It is not Neil Patrick Harris. Not Clay Aiken.
No, he does that every day. Who is it? Well, you know, Disney's going to do an upcoming live action version of Tinkerbell where it'll follow Tinkerbell. Tinkle. Tinkle Bell. Tinkle Bell. Where she heals sunburns all throughout the magic. Put that on the board. I will not put that on the board. Craig, do you get that joke? Do you get that joke? But you might have to explain it, Mike. Do you get that joke? In this room, this is why you need to have this online, because the look that she just shot to Eddie. I'm telling you. It was a love look. That was intense. We're talking about Tinkerbell, please. Can we focus? Yeah, but Scott, I'm sure Craig is wondering. No, he's not wondering at all. What is the tinkle? I don't get it. For the sunburns, I don't get it. He doesn't care. What is it? Scott had his bad sunburn one time. That's a great story. Called the Kaiser Helpline. And you don't know what the Kaiser helpline is, right? It's the health. You know, health place. You call. You say, hey, I need some... Wait, wait. Eddie just pointed at his head like a mental health. No, I guess... Okay.
There's a big HMO hospital, and if they're your insurance carrier, your medical insurance, you can call them for advice. So you had a sunburn, and you called... It was a really bad sunburn. I was on medication that said, don't go out in the sun. Yeah, the medication was her birth control pills. That's true. Is that true? Well, yes, but it was also mixed with acne medication, which said, don't go in the sun. So it was a pill paste. She crushed up the pill. Shut up. Rubbed it on her skin. So she got a sunburn, which, you know, we were working together at the time, and she went home. She went home. She left to work with the sunburn. See, she got in her car and drove away, Mike? No, she called her mom. Wait. She what? She called her mom. How old was she, like 14? Is that like a friend's name? Was this like last Friday, was it? No, no, no. She was 22 years old. Oh, wow. Wait a second. Don't make stuff up. Mother, it's Skye. Could you come and pick me up forthwith? I've a second degree sunburn. And I cannot...
Drive home. It's too painful. So you have blisters and all kinds of stuff? No, no, no. But I do have pain shooting up and down my spine. That doesn't seem a little traumatic. It was pinching my nerves. It's pinching my nerves. I'm about to pass out. If I do pass out, let me give you the address. 1420 call second. She's dead. She died. So she picked her up. She brought her back to the house, and they called the Kaiser helpline. The Kaiser helpline said, put urine on it. Oh, what? That's what they said. Hold on. Like a stingray bite. They said it would pull the sting out. What? Did I mention I told them that I'd been bitten by a stingray? No, that's what they said. They said, okay. They said, put urine on it. They did. Who did it? Her mom. What? Well, no, it was my stuff. It was my stuff, but since it was on my back, my mother, we put it in a cup and my mom. What kind of cup? No, no, no. Wait, I thought her mom said they put, her mom corrected the story and said, no, we didn't put it in a cup. We put it in a spray bottle. I guess it was originally put in a cup and then transferred into a spray bottle. Yes.
They used a spray bottle. So anyway, the story will follow Tinkerbell from being a fairy until she finally gets the chance to become a real girl. And one of the actresses in talks... That Tinkle Bell joke makes a lot more sense now, doesn't it? Scott, you wanted some sick stuff. Shut up, Tracy Morgan. It's crazy. So in talks to play the lead role as Tinkerbell is none other than wholesome Disney actress Paris Hilton. Yes, that's right. Paris Hilton has been tapped to play the role of Tinkerbell in the upcoming Disney film. Get it tapped? Yes, yes. You get it? Mike, you're so dirty. Paris Hilton has just been outdone by Sky in a tinker with a mom. That's right. Would you like to do a little worry wart? Should we do a little weekend worry wart? Something got you worried and you're stressing so much. is the Weekend Worry Wart. Ladies and gentlemen, here is how the Weekend Worry Wart works. You got something going on this weekend that's tripping you out? You're like, oh man, am I worried about this? Call us up right now, 570-1053. I have one. Eddie, what do you got? I'm putting out my Christmas lights for the first time ever. Let's do this, dude. Get me the staple gun, the hot glue gun. Now I'm really worried.
That is making me nervous. I'm worried, too. What do you want to say? What? Yeah, I can write anything on you. You're not coming over to my house. Well, Eddie, are you going to be spelling things with the lights? What is he even talking about? We'll write out, Merry Christmas to all. Oh, wow. That's going to take a lot of lengths. I can shape a snowman if you just give me a bunch of coat hangers. Oh, my God. Coat hangers? Give me a bunch of coat hangers? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I just wrap the lights around the coat hangers. I shape the coat hangers into a snowman. You've never done that in your life. Oh, you want to bet? I bet it's very elegant. Yes. Beautiful. Very much so. So, okay, well, there's Eddie. He's got one. He's going to be putting up Christmas lights. I want to know how you back up the bet when he says I can make a snowman with some wires because he's never done it and he goes, you want to bet? I have someone on the phone right now. Oh, yeah, he did. It was wicked to cool. 570-1053. Call us right now. Some random guy from Lowell, Massachusetts is calling in. Oh, you don't know? I've seen that. You just shut your mouth. I saw it. We got P1 Charmaine on the line. Are you there, Charmaine? Yes. Charmaine, what are you doing?
This weekend I'm really worried because I'm in a sorority or I'm pledging one and this weekend is our informal weekend. Oh, wow. What's an informal weekend? That's when like basically we're not like pledges anymore and they take all rights aside and we're locked in the sorority house and they can pretty much do whatever they want to us. Duh, hazing. Yeah, we're not allowed to use the word hazing. Oh, you can't say the word hazing. No, no, no. But basically, yes, that's what they're doing. So, yeah. It's like, now, I have no idea. So they're going to, like, sing Celine Dion songs and someone's going to throw baloney at them. Is that what it'll be like? Is that what it'll be like? They gave us, like, a list of things to get and they're not telling us anything. And they said, be at the house by this time. Basically, you turn all your phones off, you give it to them. Nightmare. Oh, I bet that sounds like fun. No, it doesn't. Ashley's mom. Ashley's mom, it doesn't sound like fun. What's on the list? Some of the things that are on the list, like we have to buy like a syringe. We have to buy like... What?
Ashley's mom, stop laughing at that. It's inappropriate. So a syringe and what else? A Captain and Tennille record. We have to buy a rope that's big enough to fit around all of us to tie us together. This is like creepy. Where do you go to school? Now, are you, are you, do you have any idea what they will do to have fun? You know, we don't, we can't say hazing. Well, we put it all in a bear trap. We're not allowed to know anything. There's a separation right now. They treat us like we're not even there. Well, here's the thing. Here's my question, Charmaine. Usually what we do is on Monday we check in. And so will you be able to give us any details or no? I think I'll be able to say some things, but not like...
Not like the illegal thing. It's really cool. Last year, they robbed a Wells Fargo branch. And it was super fun. And then the year before that, they embezzled $4,000 from my sorority sister's mom's business. I don't think I'd be able to say anything that would incriminate the sorority. Gotcha. Gotcha. All right, well. They even said to bring our swimsuits, so. Yeah, well, here's the deal. Don't think you're going in the hot tub, girl. Yeah, you're not. They have a hot tub. They have a non-heated pool. Oh, that's going to be not fun. Not fun. Not fun. Charmaine, we will talk to you again on Monday. Is that cool? Yeah, that's great. Do we already have your information? Yes. Okay, cool. P1, Brett is on the line. What's up, Brett? Hey, guys. How are you? Good. What are you worried about this weekend? So, I'm kind of actually freaking out. There's this girl who I work with, and she went on this long vacation to Aspen for Thanksgiving with her family. She gets back on Saturday. And so, I offered to help her out. I kind of need her, and I've been trying to kind of get her good graces type of stuff, you know? Yeah. So, I offered to help her out.
by, you know, if she needed anything done while she was gone. So she told me that she has this brand-new little kitten, this, like, little orange, tabby cat with, like, these little white feet. And he's, like, six months old and looks like a little kitten. And so she's like, can you go over and feed it and take care of it? So I went over two nights ago. I'd been out drinking with a buddy of mine, and he was driving home and stuff. So we stopped by there to go feed the cat. It was really hot when I got into her apartment, and so I opened up the door. fed the cat, and then left. Not to close the door, the patio door that I had opened. Oh, dude. You're the worst person alive. Have you been back? No. Dude. Oh, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Are you, wait, wait, wait. Now, have you looked everywhere? Yes. Now, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something from experience. Sky knows where I'm going on this. Hang on a minute. Sky knows where I'm going with this. Look in places you would never think of. Like even the kitchen cupboards. Like cats can open cupboards and get in there. Turned the bed upside down. We took it off the frame and turned it upside down in case it had crawled up under the mattress. Like gotten up in the box springs, you know? Wow. My best friend came over. We spent about five hours.
When are they coming home? Tomorrow, 432. Oh, wow. You blew it! You better go to the pet store and find one that looks exactly the same. I would ask, well, first of all, first of all, I would put up signs in that neighborhood and post signs, hey, if you find a cat, call this number. Done. I would, okay, I would... Also go door to door if you can to the other neighborhoods. But there's so many coyotes around here. You cat loving whore. It's just a baby kitten. Actually, I'm so desperate. I'm thinking, I don't know what to do. I'm thinking of going in and making it look like somebody broke into our apartment. Okay. You shoot me an email and for about a hundred bucks I can make it look like that. You really would rob them. Leave the keys under the mat. Yes, I would do everything within your power to find said kitty. Which means going door to door, asking people. You already put up signs. Do all that stuff. Now, I have a question. Because I actually know a couple of people.
that went to Florida and had somebody watching their dog. While they were gone, the dog got away. No. And they, the guy... called them on their vacation to tell them ruined their entire vacation. So do you call immediately or do you wait till they get home? No, call immediately. Really? That's what I would prefer. You would rather they call immediately. And then you've got to come home or you're going to be really stressed the whole time. I don't care. I will come right home. Really? Absolutely. Sky, what about you? Sky's thinking about it. You can tell Sky's thinking about it. What would you prefer, Sky? Oh, like you're right. It would ruin the vacation. I would have to come home immediately. So as long as this is a person I trust and they're doing everything in their power to find them, like doing exactly what I would do, I guess I'd probably rather not know. Yeah, I wouldn't.
What does calling them and let them know do? It doesn't accomplish anything. Other than them getting home and saying, what didn't you tell me? Other than being honest and saying, listen, I'm really sorry, but there's a situation going on over here. Yeah, Ashley would be upset. The thing is, I would be calling anyways every day to check in and make sure that Sammy's doing well. So I would already probably call them. Well, you would ask if you could speak to Sammy. This is my situation. I'd be calling every day to check in on my car. Yes. Sammy ate the babysitter. That's a great movie. Listen, I know this is going to seem like a strange question, Brett, but hey, if we were to go on vacation, would you be interested in watching our cats? Yeah, would you do that for us? Yes, I just did. No one said anything. What did I do? No one said nothing. Seth is a human being. He is killing you.
Wait a second. That one's coming to my defense. Somebody dropped a bomb right now. Yeah, Rob. Oh, Sky. I'm calling Maynard. Hey, Brett. We're going to get your number. Or did we already get your number so we can call you back on Monday and find out what happened? Yeah, you got it. Thanks, dude. That's a doozy. I can't handle that one. That one sucked. It's tough. He's a bad person. That's true. He didn't mean it. He was drunk and irresponsible. It was an accident. Oh, I don't give a rip. Really? You've never been drunk and made no mistake? Question, question, Ash. What if he wasn't? Would you forgive him? You got to forgive the guy. You made a mistake here. He didn't mean it. You need time. Oh, Ashley looks just conflicted and hurt. Honestly, like if, if, if, if, if. That happened and Sammy ran away and I never saw her again and something happened to her. Words can't even say. I was thinking about this yesterday. What would it be like if Sammy ran away? Craig! You're going to upset her. Don't upset her. For goodness sake. That's Sammy right there. That's a clip of Sammy. Sammy, listen to Sammy. Go ahead, Sammy. Sammy's eating a lot this morning.
I'm not kidding. He is so ugly. It's a girl. She's a female. She's a beautiful female puggle. It's a terrifying animal. It's in it. You've seen those ugliest dog contests before. It's almost cute. Welcome back. It's 841. Well, dozens of people were arrested last night at the Charger Raider game. Then after the game war. I find that hard to believe. After the game war, Raiders fans were arrested for jumping a Chargers fan outside of RMPV. That was probably because the Chargers beat the Raiders for the 11th straight time. We owe you. They won 34-7. Text messages we're getting at 35253. Mikey, on the news, they talked about how to re-gift and not get caught. Reminded me of Sky. That's P1 Bailey. Let's all calm down. Sky is big on the re-gift. Did they interview her? She has the re-gift closet. Here's my closet. Yeah, and he put little tags on each thing. Sky, have we ever received a re-gift? I don't know. Of course we have. Of course we have. I'm not quite sure. Oh, this next one says, Mikey. Today is by far one of the best Mikey shows ever. I look forward to the Paul Stanley interview. P1 Creepy and Awkward. Mikey, it's not even 8 o'clock, and I can already say this is one of the best shows ever. You guys rock. That's P1 Brian. Mikey, when Sean played Ashley's mom's UCLA, I spewed coffee all over my desk. My desk has officially been blessed by the Mikey show.
I knew it would eventually happen. That's P1 No Name. Oh, shit. Oh, Ashley's mom. That's great. The clips that you hear of Ashley's mom were recorded by Ashley. Just having a conversation with her mom. Her mom didn't know she was being recorded. And so we play these clips of Ashley's mom back all the time. And she was that excited during the conversation? She's always like that. That's normal for her. Let's hear some, Sean. I bet that sounds like fun. Funny. Funny. That's fantastic. She's the coolest mom ever. She is. Now Craig, these are taken out of context, of course. Yes, of course, of course. P1 Yo Mike is on the line. How you doing, Yo Mike? I'm doing great. How about yourself? I'm good, man. What's up? Well, I called in. I was on the internet. Finally got to check out your Mikey show on the internet, which is pretty cool and easy to navigate. Right. And I seen Yo Rob's hair.
what's called B-Rob's hair. Dude, let me tell you. B-Rob's hair is one of the worst natural disasters I think. It's evolved. It's evolved over the years. Did you see it? Come on, show Craig. I remember the dreads. Puff it out. Get it worked out. Get it worked out. Shampooing it with volumizer and it makes it real. I'm shampooing it. With Volumizer. You are such a girl. Sweetie, what are you? Okay. There we go. That's gorgeous. It's like a chia pet. That is. It's like a guy that asks you for change. So what were you calling to say, yo, Mike? I like to give him 50 bucks to cut that rag off. Oh. We're talking cash money. Check it out. Hold on. We're talking cash money. Listen, Zach's mom. I'm trying to negotiate. Hang on a second here. Hang on a second. Rob needs cash for when we go to Vegas because he can't go out to dinner with us. Honestly, this is the truth. Let's do this. Why don't we raise P1s, throw in a couple of bucks. We're talking two bucks, five bucks, whatever you could afford, a dollar if you can. 100 P1s do that. Listen, what we'll do is we'll put them out on a stool outside next week. We'll have, check this out, Zeth's mom just got a Flobie. She just got a Flobie.
Yeah, she did. Zett's mom just got a brand new Flobie, not even out of the box. What if we do, and he is always so adamant that he never wants to cut it, because he's always working on something new that doesn't work. That he never finishes. It doesn't finish, and really, it takes forever for him to realize, dude, it's over. It's not going to work. It never started. It never really did. Never really did. I'm going to make fun of all your haircuts when you guys get haircuts. But I don't have hair. You did make fun of our haircuts from 1992. That makes me feel better. Right here in the studio, we've got a couple of P1s that won. We've already got $5 here. We've already got $5 here. Rob, what if we raise some dough for you? Check line two. Let's see. P1 Dan. Hey, bro. Good morning. This is an awesome show today. I will give a hundred bucks if he cuts it. He's going to be making that kind of cash. The listeners have to decide on what they get to put in. Like if they want to shave something into his head, you should be able to, you should have some say. It's not just getting the haircut. I agree. You're a wonderful guest, Craig. Shut up.
Hey, Craig, don't you have to get back to impersonation land? Hey, where's Chris Welkin? Don't you have to go back to Voiceville? What I mean is you better go back. I mean, who wouldn't shave their head for a few hundred bucks? I mean, let's make it interesting. Hold on, hold on. Who wouldn't? I've been growing this out since July, man. I've been trying to... Mold this into the green. All the way back in July. July 04? What are we talking about? July 0... Okay. Hang on. Rob, hang on. Rob, what if? What if this? I'll just go to my special little place. What if we do this? What if we do a little fundraiser to raise some money? This is a 100% true statement. Hang on. Listen. First of all, all of us are going to be taking our spouse, but Rob cannot take his fiance because he literally can't afford it. No. Wah, wah, wah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I know that there's a lot of people hurting in the economy right now that are going big deal like can't pay rent. But hang on. So.
We were going to go out to dinner and stuff like that when we were out there. He couldn't do any of it. He was going to be by himself. Chef Boyardee in a can in the hotel room. So maybe we do a little fundraiser. I love it. Now, let's say this. If we raise past a certain amount of money, we got to give some money to charity because I don't feel right raising money and not giving money to charity. I'm done with that. So, and Seth just raised his hand and said, I'll be charity. No, no, no, not that. Microsoft from upstairs just sent me an email saying he gives 60 bucks. Are you serious? Why 60? Okay, P1 Dan, are you being for real with the 100? Oh, yeah, of course. Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. Awesome. Yeah, let's do it next week. And here's what we'll do. We'll do a fundraiser. We're going to raise a lot of money. Let's give half of it to charity. Because if he gets $5, that's five more dollars than he has right now. Yep. But I think that that's a pretty good idea that Craig had. We're not just going to, you know, something's got to be done with this. Have some fun with it. Let's have some fun with it. So people want to drive by and see the spectacle. Absolutely. And if anything, the people that donate should be able to like help.
cut his hair or something like that. Absolutely. For, like, every ten bucks that they donate, they've got, like, five seconds worth of cutting Rob's hair or something. No. But everyone who donates gets to have an opinion on what they'd like to see done to Rob's hair. Like, this guy who wants to donate $100, do you have any opinions whatsoever of what you'd like to see done to Rob's hair? What do you think? Right, like, we could color it or something like that. What do you think, Dan? After we cut it. Um, a Yankee emblem, possibly? Oh! Okay. I said no. I'm not doing it. You need the money. Keep your money. Keep your money. Hey, you can do it to my head. I'm not Johnny Dammit. Get out of here. I ain't doing that. I ain't doing it. No way. You love Johnny Dammit. I can't be bought like that. You can be bought like that. Take your money and you go give it to someone who really needs it. I have principles. Less we're talking $200. You say three, we'll start talking. Eddie is our producer. Eddie, can you think of a day next week that sounds good? I would think we should do it the day before, like Wednesday. Wednesday. Day before we go. We take off. All right, so we'll do this Wednesday. We will cut Rob's hair on Wednesday. Maybe we can even get it webcast. We'll video it for sure, put it on the website. But Rob, how many years has he been on the show? Four. Four years that Rob has been on the show, we have asked him to do a bit where we cut his hair.
multiple, multiple times. Can you imagine? He's never done it. If he had a Yankee logo in the back of his head and in Vegas, other Yankee fans high-five him and like, dude, we're about to go wild on some Red Sox fans. We shave an NY into your head and dye one of them blue and one of them white. No way. I will not. Oh, that would be so fantastic. All the Yankee fans that would high-five him and just start conversations with him about how great the Yankees are. He's eating a 100-year-old duck egg. He won't do that. Thank you. He has. Oh, yeah. Century egg. Yep. This guy. He's consumed Balut for us. Yeah. But he won't shave the Yankee. No way, man. It takes brass balls. Sorry. No takers. You're unbelievable. Wow. Are we talking $1,000? I don't know what happened. I don't think it'll be hard to get $1,000. I don't either. And half of it's going to go. Half of it's going to one hand of blackjack. I say we do this on Wednesday. And Dan, we want to see you down here on Wednesday. We'll do this on Wednesday. We'll give half of it to Children's Hospital. Nice. No matter what we put together, we'll give half of it to Children's Hospital. And the rest of it.
B-Rob will get to go to dinner with us. And maybe you could take your lady. I would love to do that. He wants to take his lady. Really bad. Can you imagine how much pain he would feel if he lost all his money? Seth is already coming. What do you mean? Yeah, why are we... I don't even... I don't even... My fella, dude. What are you... Disrespectful. Hey, you could be my lady. Hey, did you guys hear about the congresswoman in Florida? That hung up on Barack Obama twice. Yeah. Dude, how crazy. And then hung up on, what's his name? Is it Rom? Whatever that guy's name is. Yeah, Obama's chief of staff. Well, tell the story. What happened? Basically, what happened is this Florida congresswoman won in her election. And so Barack Obama wanted to reach out to her and congratulate her. So he called her to congratulate. And he said, oh, this is Barack Obama. And she thought it was a practical joke and hung up. So then Obama's chief of staff calls and says, no, this isn't a joke. Barack Obama really wants to congratulate you. She hung up on him, too, thinking that is still part of the joke. Finally, her boss, who's the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, because that's part of the committee she's in, had to call her and persuade her and say.
no, this really is Barack Obama. He's going to be calling you. Please do not hang up on him for a third time. Can you believe that? Yeah, she totally thought it was a prank call. That is crazy, man. That's a great story. Oh, our inside line. That's our inside line. I'll get it. I'll get it. Let me hear it. Hello? Hey, what's up, all you party people? Oh, like it's President Bush. President Bush is calling in. Yeah, it's W. Hi. Hi, President Bush. Hey, I heard you guys talking about Barack Obama and the prank call thing. Yes, we were, yeah. I like to prank call people, you know, when they're new on my staff. Make them feel welcome. You do. That's a little thing I do. You do? That's mature. When Condi was new, Condi leaves a rice. Condi leaves a rice. I called her and asked her if her refrigerator was running. You did. And then I say, well, why don't you go catch it? That's a good one. That's a good one, yeah. When she asked who it was, I told her I was Osama Bin Laden. To come catch you. Wow. That's a great prank. Wow, that's a great prank. Yeah, she looked at me kind of funny the next day.
but she didn't say anything. Yeah, you're in the clear then. That's probably pretty crazy. Back in 2000 when I first got into office, I called Tony Danza. Really? When he picked up the phone, I yelled out, who's the boss now? Really? Who's the boss now? You know, between you and me, I'm going to tell you a little story about what happened once with Condoleezza Rice. Go ahead, President Bush. You love to prank her, don't you? Oh, yeah. She doesn't like it, so that's why I like doing it. Okay. But this is an interesting story. I hit Condoleezza's cat while backing out of the driveway. Oh, no. You did? That's terrible. And being the type of guy that I am, you know, I took it out front and I laid it on the street. Put a sign next to it, to the carcass, and it said, free cat on it. Oh, my God. That's the oldest one in the book, President Bush. Tears of laughter. That's an internet joke. I've seen that before. Hey, guys, you know, I've got to tell you a funny story. Go ahead. I once pulled a funny one on the Secret Service. Really, President Bush? I screamed at them to come in the room.
I was being murdered. Oh, no. That was crazy. Wow. When they opened the door, a shoe fell on their hands. That's so stupid. Yeah, Mike. Have you ever seen that? Eddie did that to me in Rochester. It's a story we've told him a long time. Eddie did that to me in Rochester. I mean, it got you. That's hilarious. Definitely. For sure. Wait, no, that's you. For sure. Yes, President Bush. President Bush. President Bush. Eddie's in the bathroom, right? Right. Man, I wish I would have known this side of President Bush. I have another prank I want to tell you. Oh, sure. Okay. I'm writing these down. A prank called the king of China. You did? The king of China? The king. No, they don't. They do not have a key. It's a president. They call him the president of China. They do. Well, whatever. I called that dude. I just kept calling him over and over again trying to place an order for Mushu pork.

I'm telling you, if you go to apple.com, look at the little video on the new MacBook. It's completely redesigned, and the way that they do it is cool. They take a solid piece of aluminum, and with a machine, they drill it out. They've never done this before. It's brand new technology. And what they've done basically is they've created a Mac, a MacBook, that is thinner and lighter and gorgeous and beautiful and the most perfect notebook I've ever seen in my life. And I want one really bad. Let me tell you about these things, man. First of all, I'll never go back to PC. The MacBooks come with, well, Mac, this MacBook comes with a bunch of programs already built into it. So you can sit there and organize your photos in a real easy to use way. I was telling a friend of mine about this the other day who's had it with her PC. You can create books, calendars, greeting cards, all that stuff with your pictures in a real easy to use way. You don't have to be an expert. It's so easy. You can do video chat because they got the little camera built right into it. My wife is inviting me to do one right now. I'm not kidding. I'm clicking on accept as we're speaking.
I wish I could get the volume going on my MacBook because you would hear it right now. You'd hear my son. I'm not playing with him. What else can I tell you? No setup. You just take it right out of the box. It works. It's so, so awesome. I'm telling you, if you're looking for a killer gift to give to somebody right now, say for adults, say for kids, oh, I got a real quick story, real quick, cool about Macs. virtually virus-free, went onto my Facebook account the other day and somebody sent me one of those stupid things that says, hey, I found a video of you in my camera and I thought it was for real. It was a virus. And it immediately told me because I have a Mac, this is a malicious virus. And so I didn't click on it because I have a Mac. And I actually thought in my head, ooh boy, if I had a PC, Bye-bye. That would have messed something up. I'm telling you, I would not be talking about Mac if I didn't believe in it the way that I do. I tell everybody about it. Mac is the best.
On Rock 105.3. Back at the Mikey Show. It is 9.04. After a judge told Kid Rock that he can't do his community service by performing for the troops, out of anger, Kid Rock posted the judge's phone number and email on his website. Federal prosecutors dropped four counts of lying to a grand jury against Barry Bonds, leaving him to face trial next year on only ten counts now of making full statements. Oh, wow. Only ten? Yes. There you go. That's it. That's it. It'll be fine. Chargers won last night in pretty convincing fashion. Let's see. Want to hear Joss call a couple plays? I would love to. How about Cuff 45? Rivers dropping back five, now seven steps, dumps it off. Caught by Strolls at the 20, picks up a block from Goff. 10, 5, end zone, touchdown! All of his calls, man. He's so awesome, dude. He has the greatest calls in games, man. It's the best. Welcome back to the show.
Man, we got a lot of material to get through today. I'm telling you. And we got Craig Gass in the studio with us today. And we're going to have Paul Stanley calling into the show. And Craig does Gene Simmons. So we'll be doing all of that coming up here in just a little bit. Let's see. Boston Rob thinks that he was trying, that somebody was trying to scam him on Craigslist. Yeah, I'm not. Not 100% sure, but... I am. I read the description and I was 100% sure. I mean, I ain't going for it either way, but, you know, I got a couple things at sale up there right now. And every time I've tried to sell them before, it goes off pretty smooth, you know, like I'll only meet face-to-face and I only take cash. You can't write me a check. You can't, you know, no phony baloney stuff. I ain't got a PayPal.
Phony baloney. You know what I'm saying, Craig? He's very intimidating. Hey, look, dude, I'm a hardened criminal. I know how this stuff works, all right? Phony baloney. No shenanigans. All right. I'm familiar with white and blue-collar crime. I know what I'm doing. Want me to deposit it in your PayPal account? No phony baloney bound. Thank you, Craig. You understand me better than anyone in the world. Okay, we're going to say that to everyone. What's the scam? So this lady writes me back and... Well, you got to tell what you were trying to sell. Oh, so I'm trying to sell this Xbox and, you know, a couple controllers. Right. This whole package that I'm selling. And this lady writes me and she's like, you know, I'm inquiring about the Xbox, wondering if it's still available. Can you write me back as soon as possible? And that's like all capitalized, you know. So I get back to her within like half an hour or so. So it was pretty quick. And I was just like, yeah, you know. The whole package is still there if you want it. That's all I write. Can I actually pull this email up? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because the way it was worded and it was never signed, it was so... Okay, here it is. Is it sounding shady to you? Yeah, you'll hear it. Wicked shady. Ah, wicked. It was wicked shady. That's a level of shady. That's a Massachusetts level of shady that you don't even know about. It's not just shady.
I think I deleted it. It scared me, to be honest, guys. It would be real piss if I deraced it. Okay, wicked pisser. All right, guys, I just got it on FBI.org. I really appreciate the quick reply. I am buying this item for a son of mine schooling overseas as a Christmas gift. Oh! And I will be adding $100 for the shipping and handling. I would have this... I would have made this transaction locally, but I am presently out of town, so get back to me with your PayPal email address for me to remit the funds. What is that? ASAP. It's a college word. Like now they're making fake words up. I knew it was a scam. To remit the funds. That ain't English, pal. Yeah, remit. To remit the funds ASAP, and once payment is being received from PayPal, You can be able to ship this item. Well, it's broken English. That's the other part. I am doing this very fast. You can be able to send it. I am doing this very fast because I have promised my son that the item will be there soonest. Get back to me immediately as for us to transact very fast.
Hope to read from you soon. Regards. Regards. Hope to read from you soon. Listen to me, my Xbox friend. My father is the president of Hokey Pokey Land. Sounds important. Yeah, me time important. And he is currently has his estate value at over $2 million. If you send me one Xbox, I will be sure to... Secure your penis enlarger. I will be sure to split the funds and the penis enlarger with you. We would love to be playing the Halo 2. So if you go to remit this immediately... That's fantastic. Mr. Boston. My country is in turmoil right now. Pleased to me. I desperately need the Xbox to help I talk to the world. It's so weird because I'm listening to that voice. I'm like, man, it sounds like the tech support person at Dell. The same guy. A couple years ago. Son of a gun. That's weird.
I'm glad they pay you on Tuesday for an Xbox. Craig, you got to tell the Sebastian Bach story. Oh, yeah. Well, we got Paul Stanley calling in soon. I got offered a couple unusual gigs this year, one of which was opening for Poison in Las Vegas. And the guy who went on before me, the opening act, opening music act was Sebastian Bach. And Sebastian knows who I am. and is also a huge Kiss fan. So the impressions that I do that he specifically likes is of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. That's fantastic. And he goes, dude, I know Gene, and I can tell you a story about him. I don't know if you can use this for your stand-up act, but I actually know the guy, and he tried to get me to do a movie with him for free. He wasn't even going to pay me for it. The same thing had happened to me. Gene wanted me to be on his television show, Family Jewels. And I said, yeah, absolutely. And I agreed to the idea they wanted me to do. And then they started calling me and saying, okay, well, what city do you want us to fly you out of? And I go, oh, well, I haven't even agreed to what the pay is going to be. And the travel lady said, oh, there's not going to be any pay. And I thought, how would the travel lady know that there's no pay? And they said, no, it's good exposure. And I was like, oh, okay, well, thanks. But, you know, thanks.
But Sebastian said, I called them back and I said, dude, I will do it under one condition. If Gene Simmons lets me go to his house and I want to see all of his kiss stuff. Because Gene actually has something of a kiss museum in his house. And Sebastian Bach is like, he's a kiss fanatic. He really is like a kid. He really is. And so Gene personally calls Sebastian and says, Sebastian. This is Gene Simmons from Kiss. I got your message, and of course, Sebastian, you can come to my house. And I know that Gene in his head is thinking, you know, I got this guy for free. So, Sebastian works on the movie for a couple of days, and then at the end of the week, he gets to go to Gene's house. And they walk into the room. And Sebastian is like, dude, it was the coolest room ever. It's like all their original costumes. And he said, I'm like looking around and Gene is constantly going, calm down, Sebastian. Don't put that down. And he goes, dude. And then I swear to God, I look on this table and there's a plastic bag with a hundred kiss cell phone covers. And I go, dude, what is this? And he goes.
Sebastian, that is our brand new product, which we are rolling out for Kissmas. And what it is, it's a brand new cell phone cover. You can get the face of Paul, of Ace, of Peter, or you can get all four Kiss members. And Sebastian goes, dude, can I have one of these? And he goes, Sebastian, I wish I could. Unbelievable. Sebastian goes, dude, you got 100 of them right here. And he goes, listen, Sebastian, I can't. But if you go to kissonline.com, come on. How do you like that? He gives Sebastian the website. And Sebastian goes, dude, you got 100 of them right here. And Gene goes, I can't do anything with those, Sebastian. I can't. And Sebastian says, how much are you selling them for? And he goes, online, $16.95. Sebastian goes, he goes, I reach in my pocket and I go, dude, here's 20 bucks.
I want a Kiss cell phone cover right now. And Gene goes, Sebastian, I can't take your money. My hands are tied. And he goes, I can't take your money. But if you go to kissonline.com. What the hell? And he starts telling him you go to kissonline.com. You click on the merchandise. Oh, wow. Go to the cell phone. I wish I could. But Sebastian, put your money back. I can't take your money. How crazy is that? That is unbelievable. How crazy is that? True story. True story. I love hearing stories. And I got a million stories like that about Gene. That could be like a whole... Sebastian Bach came here, this was like 10 years ago when I was still doing the night show. Okay. Probably one of the best vocalists ever. Yeah, he's got some power. And he is one of the only guys that was able to pull off walking into a 7-Eleven that was right by the radio station wearing, and I'm not kidding, lace up, lace up in the front leather, skin tight leather pants. Yes. What? No shirt. What? No shoes. Hey, can you take me to 7-Eleven real quick? No. We put him in the station van, drove him down to 7-Eleven, and he jumped out with no shoes, no shirt, walked into 7-Eleven, bought a Slurpee with leather pants laced up the front, long blonde hair.
I was like, I can't believe what I'm like. It's like a unicorn running across the street. And YouTube wasn't invented yet. No. Can you imagine that? I mean, can you imagine a video of a Sebastian Bach shirtless? And just hair all over the... It was crazy. 80s rock bands were the best. I did a show opening... I opened for Quiet Riot of all bands. Dude, you opened for a lot of bands. He's opened for Metallica. Yeah. Metallica. I went on tour. What? Tallica? Tallica. Yeah, you'll put for Tallica. Can we call it Tallica now? It gives it more street credibility, which is probably not as much credibility because I actually say the full word. Dude, you know what is the best about his Lars is he does the body moves, you know? He does that little hand. Kind of that struggle that happens inside his face when he's talking. And then the key is always sniffing. Yeah. But the Quiet Riot story, and this wasn't like 1986. This was like two weeks ago. Whatever. Well, it was actually a couple years ago. And I'm about to go out and do my thing. And their singer, Kevin Dubrow, goes, he yells at me from this balcony. Because backstage, they had like an upper loft for the dressing room. And he goes, Craig, dude, hang on a second. Hang on. And he comes right down. He goes, dude, when you get out on stage,
use the center mic, okay? My cordless, you can use my mic. And I go, all right, that's what I was going to do. So he goes, all right, don't use the mic on stage, right? Like, all right. And he goes, because it's not on. And I go, it's not? And he goes, no. And he goes, our bass player, Rudy, can't sing. And he goes, and he doesn't know that his mic's not on. He goes, he's just, he's awesome. fall. If you pick up that mic, it's not even going to be on. So take my mic and I go... That is so funny. Rudy Sarzo is singing his heart out. He has no idea. Get crazy, Craig, because we do that with Zest on our show. Mikey's show is on. Snowboarding or yoga? Hiking or running? How about crushing a few balls down the fairway? Last night, a man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run in Alpine was arrested after being spotted pulling into a bar across the street from a candlelight vigil for the victim. You're kidding. Are you for real? You know, I've read a lot of those true crime books and stuff. That's actually a thing. That's actually a thing.
Yeah, they always... They return. They return to the scene. They return to the scene. Oh, yeah, and he, you know, he wasn't, like, you know, arrested or anything, and the people at the candlelight vigil spotted the car all jacked up, and it matched the description of the car, so they called the sheriff, and they went into the bar and busted the guy, for one, for DUI, for driving drunk to the bar, and also for suspicion of this fatal hit and run. Yep. Dude, it happens all the time in Perry Mason, Mike. See, this is a guy that is well-versed in law. It happens in Matlock, dude. It happens on Ironside. I mean, you know, just look into it. Well, first we've got to look into what those shows are. We'll probably look into the other part of it for sure. This text message says, Mikey. Burn a life. Oh, wait a second. Orange reaction. Did I see something? This one says, Mikey. Will you guys be talking about OJ after he gets sentenced? That's P1 Corey. Oh, yeah. I keep refreshing CNN like every second. Yeah, man. What do you mean? Hopefully justice will be served again. Thank you. I've heard about this. It's like three degrees of OJ. Yeah. Nothing fit this time. Yeah. Well, the gloves last time. I tried on shoes, some Bruno Magli's. Yeah. They didn't fit. They didn't fit. Yeah, yeah.
I was framed to remember that. Yeah, of course. Oh, by the way, just in case nobody knows, I once rushed for 2,000 yards for the buffalo. How? You never mentioned that. You tell us every time. Heismatrophy. Wow. Every time. That's on my resume. In addition to that, I murdered two people and got away with them. Okay. That you know of. Okay. Well, there it is then. Wow. Guess that's the end of the joke. Yep. So he's... facing 18 years. I know you do double. 18 years to life he's facing. His lawyers are asking for six years. Ain't gonna happen. We'll see. I'm O.J. Simpson. I got three words for you. Brentwood. That's only one word. You know what I mean? Take that. Me and Judge Ito are cool. That's right. This is about Boston Rob and what Rob was saying about this fishy email that he got. It says, Boston Rob, it is a scam for sure. I got the same email exactly. That's P1 Styles. Whoa. Dang. They were asking for his PayPal information. Now, in general, from what I know, PayPal is a pretty secure thing. Yeah. Sean, do you know how that scam works? Go ahead.
I didn't know your name was Sean. Go ahead. Sean gets very upset when anyone else is in the studio. Sean gets very upset when anyone else is in the studio, Craig. Don't take it personally. He's weird. He's a strange bit of a strange no, Sean, please. Sean, excuse us. Sean, excuse us. He's our guest. This is really unfortunate. Excuse us, Sean. You want to take this? No, listen. You got it. He's like... No, go ahead. No, he's like having a German Shepherd in the house, you know, that's just running mud. And then your friends come over and they walk in and the German Shepherd's excited and it puts its paws all over you. That's right. Bites. That's right. Bites is your head off. Yep. And then it tears your arm off. So, Sean, tell us about how this works. How does the PayPal... I don't know how it works, Mike. But I think Craig might have some thoughts on it. No, go ahead. Go ahead. No, go ahead, Sean. No, no, but after you really. No, Sean, please tell us how it works. No, go ahead. Craig, it's always good to have dead silence after something like this. No, no, seriously. Sean, how does it work? I know this. I know that a friend of mine in Seattle has been trying to sell a couple things.
Online at eBay. And she recently has been getting hit with a few emails like this where they're like, I'm out of the country. And if you just send it to me, I got this thing working. But it's not as vague as Rob's email. That's fascinating. Well, the PayPal scam, I think, is just to try to get your information. Yeah, how's that PayPal work, Craig? I think that what they do is... Oh, Sean, I'm sorry. Oh, my gosh. Sean. I'm sorry? Rob, you were saying... Were you saying something? Oh, no, I thought Sean was... I think the PayPal thing is the... Go ahead, go ahead. Isn't it... Sean, did you want to explain it? I can actually talk on this, too. Eddie, please. No, Sean, you're probably more first. Yeah, you're probably better at it, dude. You do that all the time with eBay. I think it's the, they're just trying to get the information about the PayPal. Isn't that right, Sean? I wouldn't know. I think they send you a fake confirmation. Isn't that right, Sean? Yeah, you're absolutely right. What? Oh, wow. Bingo, bingo, bingo. I don't know what that means. How does that work?
You want me to explain how it works? Yes, go ahead. Are you sure? Yes, go ahead. It's done. Do they ask you for your personal information? We're just trying to figure it out. Because they say, like, they go, hey, I want your information about your PayPal account. How do they get the password? Maybe your password is part of what they're looking for. But I don't even know what PayPal is. That's what I'm trying to get through. Explain that to them, Sean. I don't know how it works. Tell them what it is. How does it work? PayPal is a way for individuals who are not businesses. It's a way for them to accept credit card payments. But mostly individuals. It's not businesses. You can go directly through your bank account. Or you can set it up through a credit card. Oh, is that how it is? If I'm selling a collection of something. It's like a secure way of shopping online. I'm not a business. Or selling or shopping. Right, Sean? I wish a grenade would explode in the rear.
In your swimsuit area. You guys aren't going to believe this, but a grenade just went off. How did that happen? How did that happen? This guy had a side of rice. Oh, wow. I don't know why you're laughing at that. That took a turn. Should we explain it? No. Maybe we should. New listeners all the time. She's lactose intolerant. First time she went to dinner with her husband and his family before they were married. First date. Went with the family, and she was lactose intolerant, so she just ordered a side of rice. That's so weird. And they all laughed at me. Well, she could have got a taco. There's other things that don't have cheese. I was very sensitive at the time. Your stomach was very delicate. It goes in waves. It doesn't go in waves. It does. Well, Eddie, why not order a taco? Anything. Anything. I mean, if you get the side of rice, it's going to draw.
I mean, I was nervous. Did you open the patio door and let it out? I'm so nervous. It's the nerves. Sorry. It's the altitude. How many times was the altitude? We're at sea level. You've been making that joke since we went to Mammoth like seven years ago. It sounds like you didn't need to say it once for it to stick. Okay. All right. We're all adults, please. No, I'm saying stick. I meant like the... All right. I'm nervous. Sean. Good God. Ridiculous. Sean. Nerves. Shut up. December Nights, Balboa Park kicks off today. How about that? What is that? I can't wait to go. What is it? It's the 31st annual December Nights. They expect about 300,000 people to attend this weekend. There'll be music and entertainment and food. Shoplifters, it'll be great. Holiday lights.
Of course, Santa Claus will be there this year. There will be a full-size ice skating rink, and all of Balboa Park's museums will be free this weekend as part of the event. That's cool. I'll be flying over my sleigh, sprinkling money. Yes. Shut up. Gold bullion. So it goes from 5 to 10 tonight, and then tomorrow from noon to 10, and you're encouraged to take shuttles there because it gets kind of crazy. So they have shuttles running from Petco Park, and the shuttles are free from the San Diego County Administration Building and also. from City College. Is the breakdancing museum open? No, they really have it. They do? I did not know that. What about the parachute pants? He's such a liar. You got robbed. I've seen it. Have you been in it? I've been in the Turbo Wing and the Boogaloo Museum. I've been in it. That's awesome. A billion points for Turbo. Yes. Beyonce says that marriage is a power struggle. She's been married two and a half minutes. Basically. Yeah, dude. Jay-Z. Rob's not up on those things. No, I guess not. That's part of American history. Yeah.
How dare you? You actually do. Thanks, Mike. Yeah, so she says that she thinks marriage is kind of a power struggle, but she goes on to say that if she wasn't with somebody who was so strong, then she wouldn't be able to respect them or wouldn't be attracted to them. There's a lot of push-ups. Yeah, she also talks about she wants to have a couple kids, but after watching her sister deliver her nephew, she says she's traumatized and scared out of her mind. Because it looks painful. Yeah. Me too. I visit hospitals all the time. Did you see that? Ooh, that don't look good. Can I get you an aspirin? Sky has a list of the worst movies of 2008. Oh. Wait. Yes. What was that movie? Kramer vs. Kramer. Mike. Stop it. Out of the gate. Soul Plane. Soul Plane. That was a good one. That was a good one. House Arrest. Mm-hmm. House Guest. Oh, Sinbad. House on Hound Hill. That was a good one. Anything with kid in play.
I've just seen the movies with house in the title. Oh, I thought it was that's what talked about. No, we're not doing movie word association. Worst movies of 2008. Oh. I don't remember what came out this year. The Little Mermaid. Die Hard with a Walker. Moonstruck. Tropical Thunder. We talked about one the other day and Eddie said he would never ever see it in his life. Indiana Jones. He paid him to see it. Oh, that was Zohan. Are we there yet? Number seven is Don't Mess With The Zohan. The Ya Ya Sisterhood Pants Story. Thank you, Julian Amar. Wait. Isn't that what it's called? Yes. Give up. I'm done. I'm done guessing. Okay. Number ten, Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Number nine, Witless Protection. Larry the Cable Guy. Larry the Cable Guy is so funny. Eddie, don't do that. I love Larry the Cable Guy. Dude, he is really funny. You don't like him? You don't like Larry the Cable Guy? For real? I don't like his movies, but I think that he, as a comic, when I first heard him like seven years ago, he's pretty funny. I get it. As a comic, he's edgy. Yeah. Number eight, Rambo.
Number seven, Sohan. Number six, Babylon, A.D. Number five, 10,000 B.C. Oh, for sure. That was real bad, Eddie. Oh, I liked it. Number four. Case closed. Well, Sean says it's terrible, so it must be good, right? No, it was terrible. Number four, what happens in Vegas? Uh-huh. Number three, Mad Money. That was cute. Mad Money was cute, too. What? Number two, The Hottie and the Naughty. Oh, wow. Wasn't that a TV show? No. And then finally, number one was The Love Guru with Mike Myers. Oh, for sure. Wow. For sure. That's nuts. I don't like that little devil dude there. Devil dude. I don't like the way he looks at me. That's mini me. Guess who we have on the phone? Who's that? Ladies and gentlemen, Paul Stanley. Wow. What a coincidence. Paul, are you there? I can't compete with you guys. I mean, I want to shut up and just listen to you. Well, that is a good compliment. Save that clip. Yes. Paul Stanley is on the line. You know him as the lead singer of Kiss. He is known as the star child. He's the star child in Kiss. And he's been doing this for 35 years with Kiss. And I couldn't believe our luck today, Paul.
I couldn't believe it. And not just because you're coming on because you're going to be at Wentworth Gallery in La Jolla this weekend. Not just because of that. But because you're going to be on the phone the same day that we have in studio with us Gene Simmons. It's a little bit awkward. Yes. Because I'm promoting what is now the number one television show in the history of cable. And that is? And that is Family Jewels. Well, I don't know that. It's a fake statistic. True story. It beat out Hill Street Blues. It beat out MASH. Never on cable. True story. But I'm going to give Paul the floor. Here we go. There you go. If the way I know that's not Gene, Gene would have said Gene Simmons Family. Gene Simmons Jell-O, Gene. Simmons water. That's Paul. Let me just, let me rephrase and let me restart by saying this is Gene Simmons from Kiss. Mr. Hey, that's Paul. Paul, we're talking at the same time. Paul, that is Craig Gass doing, you know Craig. Craig is the only, I mean, Craig does the best Gene. He can't do me for crap.
I love the Paul Stanley. It's fantastic. Actually, if I can tell a quick story, a guy by the name of Bob Helt told me, he said, are you Craig? He goes, you're the guy that does the Gene Simmons. Oh, my God. Paul told me about you and played me some clips of you and blah, blah, blah. And he's telling me the story. He goes, I've worked with Kiss on and off over the years. And I go, and who turned you on to me? And he goes, Paul. And I go, and who is Paul? And he goes, Paul Stanley. And I go. You're kidding. And he goes, no. Oh, no, no, no. Paul loves, let me tell you something, Paul loves when people make fun of Gene. I'm very sensitive, so, you know, don't make fun of me. And he said, in fact, Paul's favorite line that you ever did is probably the one line I actually resented saying on the air. I once, as Gene, as a character on the air, said, You know, it's amazing if you look around at how much I've influenced people. Take Sting, for example. I pick up a bass. Sting picks up a bass. I start acting in crappy movies. Sting starts acting in crappy movies. Now, here's the crazy thing. Sting is losing his hair. I've been wearing a muskrat on my head for 22 years. According to Bob, that was Paul's favorite line. I thought, wow, how cool is that? Paul, is it true? Was that your favorite line?
Craig is great. If he can only get me down, Pat. Let's do some dueling, Paul Stanley. Paul Stanley is going to be at Wentworth Gallery in La Jolla this weekend. So, Paul, tell us how you got into art. I started painting because I just wanted another way to express myself. Whether it's doing theater or doing music or doing art, it's just another way for me to have a... some sort of outlet. And the coolest thing is that, you know, it seems whatever I wind up doing seems to get quite a following. You know, my art in the last year and a half, I've done 20-some-odd shows. You know, and sure, you know, I've got the very big collectors collecting the works, and then I have people who've never been in a gallery. And the cool thing with people who've never been in a gallery before is they've been intimidated by critics telling them that... You know, unless you have some sort of degree, your opinion about art isn't valid. You know, you don't need somebody to tell you what food you like, and you don't need somebody to tell you what art you like. It doesn't matter what somebody else likes. Craig, now you have the floor. All right, now I'm going to ask the other Paul Stanley a question. Other Paul Stanley, all the years that you've been in Kiss, give me a couple of your most memorable moments. Well, you know, I'll tell you.
You know, being in Kiss, not only do we put on the greatest rock shows of all time, but the real show happened back at the hotel. And if it was a good night for you, you ended up with a star in your crotch. Well, that is certainly unexpected. That sounds pretty good to me, Paul. So, Paul, come on, that's pretty good. Craig, you've been working, okay? Fantastic. Fantastic. The time you've been unemployed is... Hey, by the way, Paul, congratulations to an order. Paul Stanley expecting a daughter in January. Nice. Very nice. Love it. That's revenge for my past life. Yeah. Do you have kids, Paul? I have two. I have a 14-year-old and a 2-year-old. Wow. Does the 14-year-old get it in terms of the kiss phenomenon? He really does because he's grown up in it. He's also a phenomenal guitar player. He played Coachella this past year. He'll travel with me. He's great. Great guitar player and a great young man. I think my biggest accomplishment is being a good dad and having great kids. Paul Stanley on the line with us. Paul, if you think back, is there a year that was the biggest for Kiss?
The first year I heard Craig Gass do an impression. Craig, you owe me big time. That's right. I do, I do. Hey, listen, if he's doing an impression of you, it's because you're big time. That is for sure. Big time. But in all honesty, Paul, in all those years, in the 70s and the 80s, when you guys were big, and I don't know if it was bigger in the 70s than it was in the 80s, because it seems like it was both. They were both phenomenal. But then they came back and did a reunion tour and sold out Detroit Tiger Stadium. Yeah, you know, it's funny because people always talk about the 70s. But the truth is, globally, we're bigger now than ever. We just came back from Europe. We did 30 shows in seven weeks, played to about 400,000 people. We're going to do another album and then launch a tour here and go back to Europe. And, you know, it's phenomenal at this point. it's really become iconic. You know, the characters we've created have become timeless. You know, we may get old, but they won't. So it's really become something far bigger than anything we ever could have imagined. So it's always interesting when people were exposed to us during the 70s, they naturally go, oh, remember how great the 70s were. I'm telling you, you know, 2008 doesn't suck.
You know, being in the band as long as you have been in the band, you've known Gene now for over 35 years, obviously. He created me. That's right. I actually, years ago, I thought, you know, I'm not going to be able to do this on my own. I'm going to have to have a partner. Yeah. So I created, this is a true story. Yes. And you can find it all, it's all at kissonline.com. Yes. But I thought, I'm going to, and this is before genetic, any testing or anything, I created Paul Stanley. You did it. Is it Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley? Well, there's actually a Kiss headquarters. I can't tell you where it is. But it's where we invented the new Kiss Chili, which is coming out this Christmas. It's an amazing chili. You might be asking yourself, Gene, what's the difference between regular chili and Kiss Chili? Well, number one, you're going to pay $80 for my Kiss Chili.
And number two, imagine 20 minutes after you eat the Kiss Chili, you hear from your stomach, you actually hear, you wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest chili in the world. And from out of your butt comes the biggest flame. That is amazing. Kiss Chili. Paul, how close is that, do you think, to your friend Gene Simmons? Sadly so. That's so funny, man. Paul Stanley is on the phone. He's going to be at the Wentworth Gallery in La Jolla this weekend. He's an artist, and you can go down there and check this stuff out. Can you buy it, too, Paul? Absolutely. You can buy your art. Yes. You know, the show is dining tomorrow. I'll be there, obviously, because of the size of the crowds that turn out.
The only way you really get a chance to spend time with me is if you're purchasing a piece. Other than the originals, there's a lot of really great prints that have brush strokes and everything on them. I'm trying to make sure that whether you live in a van or a villa, you can put something up on your wall. I don't want to brag. I'm certainly never going to be a starving artist, but if it's any sign that... acceptance of art. I think the last figure I think was two plus million dollars in the last year. Really? I do know he's been getting a lot of attention for his artwork and he's been going around to galleries showing his work and I know it's something he's been getting a lot of attention for. Awesome! Hey Paul, in all the years of Kiss, can you remember one or two really bizarre happenings with fans? I hate to say that there really have been so many and, you know, all the things that you can fantasize and ones you couldn't even imagine. Stuff that they will come up to you and want you to sign or say or do or just weirdness. You know, I find parts of bodies that people had to lift up to get to.
That's going to take a long time to get out of my head. I heard a great story from somebody that worked with them that they were at the Halloween parade a couple years ago in the village in New York. Paul and Gene were on a float at the parade and a fan jumped over the security line, ran up to the float, took off his shirt. and showed a whole body art on his back of Kiss. And he said, Gene, Gene, look, look, Gene. And Gene goes, you're a moron. And the guy didn't hear him the first time. He goes, what? And he goes, you're an idiot. Get out of here. Not true, not true. Not true, not true. Paul says not true. But I will tell you, you know, somebody was, you know, and I love Gene, but he was, you know, He was talking those numbers of women he's been with, which seem to go up exponentially every year. I finally figured that he's counting them by weight. Let me tell you something. I'll tell you why it is. You look at Paul. He's in shape. Look at me. By and large, the majority of women that want to be with me...
are bi and large. They're huge. Hey, Paul, thank you for coming on, man. I really appreciate your good sport, too. And tonight you're going to be at the Wentworth Gallery in La Jolla with your artwork tonight from 7 to 9 and then tomorrow 6 to 9. And it's a serious art thing. It really is a serious art thing. That's cool. Yeah. Paul, we appreciate it, man. Thanks for coming on. My pleasure. Take care, guys. All right, we'll see you. That's Paul Stanley. Wow. That's fantastic. One of the best lines I've ever heard that guy say is in a press conference in Japan. And the Japanese press praising them in this conference. And one person asked them, how do you get to be so great as Kiss? And Paul Stanley goes, you know, a lot of people are envious of us. I'm envious of us. He's the best. Oh, I love him. There it is. Sadly, God gave his artwork to you. In challenging times, you want to feel confident about where to place your money and your trust. Turns out, you do. You explain to the officer that the lobster costume you're wearing is a tribute to Rubio's for braving the cold blue waters off the coast of Chile to bring back succulent langostino lobster. Unfazed, the officer asks, why were you swerving? Tough to grip the wheel with claws, sir. He clicks his pen menacingly and starts writing. You continue to plead your case. Honestly, who can resist the bold beach mix flavor of a Rubio's burrito filled with decadent langostino lobster, freshly made guacamole, and a creamy chipotle picante sauce? As you take the ticket with your pincher, the officer says, Son, it's a good thing lobster beach mix isn't expensive, because you're going to need a lot of fancy lawyering to get out of this one.

Take it down to Amco because they've been doing this for a long time and they know what they're doing. Plus, if you're a P1, your check engine light comes on. Take it down to Amco. Well, that's great. Hey, it's cool. We'll see him Thursday. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Too little, too late, buddy boy.
I'm going to lick your face. I can't wait to see Shawnee away. Okay, just pickle, pickle. Licky, licky. No, no, no. Total cool. This text message says, Today's Mikey show will go down in history as one of the best ever. Wow. It's right up there with Sean being a furry, Zeth crying, the first 28-hour show, etc. That's B1 forever. This one says, hey, guys, whatever happened to Craig attempting a Mikey impression? That's P1 Saxman. Oh, yeah. Is my voice, can you do, I mean, is it possible? I don't know that I have a distinct enough voice to be able to do. Look at his face. I would love it. I would love it. All right, here we go. I'm going to see if I can pull off. Close my eyes and listen. Okay, I'm going to see if I can, so you can get some balance to see where Mikey fits in. I'm going to do a Mikey and Sky impression. Okay. I like it. All right, my Mikey's going to sound a little more like Al Pacino, and my Sky is probably going to sound more like Tracy Morgan. Here we go. All right. And then Seth's going to chime in as somebody. All right, here we go. All right, so, yeah, I went to, you guys ever tried that Pomplamoose? Of course, I love black men. I was at Pomplamoose, and they got these great burgers.
I know, and I love black men. Yeah, thanks, guys. And so we went there, and they got these great burgers. They're not regular. They're Kobe beef. I love black guys. It's like a real conversation. Yeah, I know. I don't think she's interrupting you like normal. Listen, Mike, we're going to take a break. It's time to go to break. You shut up, Seth. You're stupid. That is right. That is a real conversation. My skin hurts. I was in the sun today. Skye, you really are beating me. Wow. That is a real conversation. This text message says, Mikey, what happened to Ayo the other day? Do you know what happened after the cop made him hang up? That's P1 Alencas. Yes, we do know. Apparently, he was parked out in front of a federal agent's house. What? And they have cops that are always around there, and he was a black dude sitting in a work truck, just parked there, sitting in front of a federal agent's house. So the guy rolled up and said, yeah, what are you doing here, buddy? Beat it, you. Yeah. Beat it. And A.O. screamed and got out of there. This text message says,
Mikey, I'm watching the OJ hearing, and all I can think of is the Mikey show. That's P1 Syrup. That's weird because isn't OJ still, is he still around? Where do you think we went, man? I'm looking for the real killer here. But all you do is golf. He's probably on the course. Yeah. I have very good, credible information that he's on the back nine. That's right. He's an avid golfer. For a long time now. Caddy. Yeah. I know. I'm still investigating, Ashley. Eventually, I'm going to crack this case. Yeah, you better crack it wide open. There are no golf courses in prison. Don't put me in there. That's right. I heard you guys have been breaking doors down to crack this case, breaking into people's places to find them. Yeah, sometimes you got to do what you got to do, man. I'm going to crack it open like a white woman's head. Okay. All right. Farther than I would have felt comfortable with. I'm just moderate OJ. Know what I mean? Tons and tons of blood. Okay. Over the top. What's that? What's up, man? Definitely went farther than I would have. All right. Well, guess the bit's over. We got more. They got the OJ sentencing on right now. Whoa. Listen to this. This is what the judge is saying.
that we can just say, oops, it's okay, no problem. Don't worry. Dude, he looks furious. He's going to kill that judge. Dude, that's the female judge's voice that you're hearing. She's like scolding him. She's reading him the sentence right now, and he is sitting there brooding. His eyebrows are furrowed. He looks, and he's got a scowl on his face. What does she make to me, man? He looks like he's aged like 10 years in the last year. He does. You won't like me when I'm angry. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. No harm, no foul. Turning a page in our notes. After the event, all of a sudden the realization hits and their phone calls made. There was no gun. There was no gun. There was no gun. Mr. Simpson made those phone calls. There was no gun. Well, why the heck would he be calling anybody to say there was no gun? Except for the fact that he realized there was a gun. He's looking at his lawyer. He's looking at his lawyer. He's looking to his left and his right and asking questions like, I had a gun. I said that? Did I say that? I don't even have a phone. I don't see that. And ups, I might be in some trouble. He's whispering. He's whispering.
I said hold the bun. You know what? I wanted it animal style. It's a tight shot of OJ's face. I guarantee you get lip readers by the end of the day that have analyzed this whole thing. No doubt. I'm going to kill that judge. Does this bitch know I'm serious? At the party. At the party. The laughter. That look on his face? Ashley, come here. It's called the Brentwood. Let me tell you something. I'm not exaggerating. And everybody's going to see this later today. And I'll bet the story is OJ looks furious. I bet the story will be OJ looks furious during sentencing will probably be the story. Because the look on his face is just, it looks like.
You know when you're, if you're arguing with somebody and you're just building and building and building your anger? Yeah. That's what his face looks like. Yeah, yeah. Like he wants to explode. And you know what? She sounds like, just in the words leading up to this, she's about to lay down the law pretty hard right now. You can tell that she's letting him know. She's building up. She resents him. As a judge, resents him. Oh, and suddenly there's no... Gun. Right, right. That you're not aware of. Yeah, she's putting on a little show. Yeah, she is. Look on his face. Ha, ha, ha. Oh. Ha, ha, ha. This funny. Oh. Ooh, girl. Look at him. Oh, man, he is. You knew what was going on there. You were about to make me lose my mind. And Mr. Stewart, you got caught up in something. I'm not sure how much you knew. You got robbed. But clearly Mr. Simpson knew. Yeah, they're sentencing OJ and Mr. Stewart today. Which one's he, Sky? That's Mr. Stewart. I know, but what I mean is, what do you do? He's Al Sharpton without the hairpiece? Kind of. Do we know what he did? Let's see. I mean, he was involved in the whole Las Vegas memorabilia deal thing, so they're facing... I think he did the Super Bowl shuffle back in 85. Oh, that's awesome.
I don't mean to brag, but he didn't rush for $2,000. No way. All right. If you don't mind, I'd like you to just undo this pause because a man's life is on the line. Thank you. This don't sound nothing like O.J. whatsoever. But this will do for now. I actually am surprised that I heard from you, Mr. Simpson. I had believed that there wasn't going to be a statement from you. And I was going to be... concerned about your lack of responsibility for this action. And it's kind of a fine line in what you said to me. I hear what you said and what Mr. Galanter said, which is, I didn't intend to do anything wrong, so I must not have done something wrong, so there was no criminal intent. It was just all stupidity. I have to tell you now, it was much more than stupidity. Oh! Yes! It's very rare that I have somebody talking to me at a sentencing about mens rea and criminal intent. It really doesn't matter. You went to the room. You took guns, meaning you and the group. You used force. You took property, whether it was yours or somebody else's. And in this state, that amounts to robbery with use of a deadly weapon. It's you having the gun. It was my stuff. Mr. McClinton having the gun.
Or Mr. Alexander. He looks like the angry young Frankenstein. He does. Fire. Maybe you don't never see my resume. Bitch, are you looking at me? You're awfully white saying that to me. When I first started the trial and I talked to the jury when we had the whole panel in. I stated to the group that if they were here because they wanted to punish Mr. Simpson for what had happened previously, then this wasn't the case for them. And I meant that. As the judge in this case, I'm not here to sentence Mr. Simpson for what's happened in his life previously in the criminal justice system. As a judge who presides in...
Courtrooms. Oh, wow. They're showing the father of Ron Goldman sitting in the courtroom watching. There's your reaction shot. And, you know, what's really amazing about this is that it just, it takes you back to 94, man. Absolutely. You're right back to 1994, the day that he was sentenced and got off. And you saw them crying when he was sentenced, or when he was acquitted. And so it's almost like it's come full circle. We're about to see their reaction today. Every day and over trials, hundreds of trials during the six years I've been here. I have great respect for the criminal justice system. I'm part of it. Now they're showing I'm guessing. Yeah. And as a judge who has taken jury verdicts for years, I respect the verdicts of my juries. I have to respect what happened in the case 13 years ago. With Mr. Simpson. The jury decided. Why are you even bringing that up? I think I know. It's inappropriate, but you know what she's doing. She's basically going, I know what all of America's thinking. And I'm a judge. And I respect what they did. But guess what? Justice is going to be served today. That's what I'm starting to hear. And I'm hoping that that doesn't come back to bite the whole case.
I hope that his lawyers don't come back now and go, well, she made it real clear she was biased and she was trying to get, you know, redemption for 13 years ago or whatever. I'm not getting that, though. I'm getting the chief saying, I respect my jury. I respect the jury. And whatever the jury says, I even respect the jury that acquitted you is what I'm getting. Yeah, but why would she be respecting the jury that acquitted him? Because it's the big white horse that's in the room. It's like the big white elephant. But she's acknowledging it. And if I'm his attorney, I'm going to say, really, what did you mean by that? What did you mean when you were respecting that jury? What did you mean? I mean, I respected them. Uh-huh. Yeah, keep going. Tell me what you mean. We know what she's saying. I just don't know that it is the smartest thing to be saying. You know, if you're the judge, it's okay for all of us to say, we know he was guilty way back then, and he got off. And she's saying, oh, yeah, you know, we respect what they said. They decided you were innocent. But it sounds like it's a build to. And so I.
By the state of Nevada, sentence you to, you know what I mean? With that in mind. Right. The only thing, though, is that a white horse isn't really that strange, and I don't know why it's in the room. Yeah. I wasn't going to bring it up. Especially a white one. I've actually seen white horses. Many times. That's the thing that's a little bit. Well, Craig is giving a look right now, like, oh, so this is what it's like, right? Oh, so it's like this on the Mikey Show, right? Yeah. I'm just saying, it wouldn't be funny if it was all this buildup, and I'm letting you go, and then run around in like a Benny Hill circle, just bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. And then jump on the white horse. I apologize, Craig. You didn't deserve that. You're not allowed to make mistakes on this show. You're not allowed. There are many people who disagree with that verdict. But that doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is that the state brought charges. A trial was conducted. Evidence was heard. Testimony received. The jury deliberated. They reached a verdict. And I have to respect that verdict as well. Are we about to hear him get a light sentencing? I don't know. She's saying, so this jury has given a verdict and I have to respect that one too. It sounds pretty even-handed. So maybe she was just saying all this because she wanted to give him a...
Little slap before she let him off. You've been robbed. Or it could be the opposite way. Maybe they're about to lay down the hammer and she's going to say, hey, you know, we have to respect the juries. Whatever they say, we have to respect. Got to respect what they did back then. Got to respect this now. You want to have popcorn? I know. Right? I think it's Luke Skywalker. The father. The father. There is, um, there's nothing more that's going to happen here. Isn't that the guy that was in the first movie? Other than. A sentence for you, Mr. Stewart. And a sentence for you, Mr. Simpson. Based on the evidence. Well, then do it. I'm not here to try and. She's like, since I have you here, I've got some Amway products. Quiet in the back.
Retribution or any payback for anything else. I want that to be perfectly clear. Oh, that's the... Did you ever see... I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Did you hear what she just said, by the way? No, because stupid Craig was talking. She said, I don't want anybody to think this is redemption for blah, blah, blah. To everyone. Because if I did, then I wouldn't be... Doing my job. We get it. Yeah, we do. I'm ready to cut my head off. Angry mobs outside. Let's get it over with. There's stuff to be looted, man. Get to it. Sorry to put you out. And now a passage from my blog. I can't ignore that the behavior on September 13th was reckless. It disregarded the law. The law was broken.
Horse was used. Guns were used. Or at least a gun was used. Not my real mom, Nancy. Potential for harm was great. You're fortunate nothing more happened. Property was stolen. The jury convicted you. What? And now I'll sentence you. Okay. All right. Okay. All right. Mr. Stewart, go ahead and stand up for me. Oh, here we go, yo. Man. You go ahead and you can stand up, Mr. Stewart. Simpson as well. Yeah, it's Simpson. Yeah, we know who he is. By the way, he's in a blue jumpsuit and he's shackled at the waist by, you know, his wrists are shackled to his waist. Oh, man. And he's got a note from somebody in his pocket. All right, Mr. Stewart, in addition to the $25 administrative assessment and the $150 DNA fee. Really? Asked to count one, the conspiracy to commit a crime, 12 months in the Clark County Detention Center. Asked to count two, conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
A minimum term of 12 months, a maximum term of 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count two to run concurrent to count one. Count three, conspiracy to commit robbery. A minimum term of 12 months, a maximum term of 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count three to run concurrent to count two. Count four, burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon. A minimum term of 26 months. A maximum term of... 96 months in the Nevada Department of Crackings. OJ's fingers are laced around in front of him. Count four to run concurrent to count three. Count five. Same time. First-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. A fixed term of 15 years with parole eligibility beginning after five years. And due to the additional danger that the weapon posed in enhancing the danger during that event. A consecutive minimum term of 12 months. Maximum term of 72 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. On count six, the same thing. It's a kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. Oh, and count five will run concurrent with count four. Count six, they fixed 15 parole eligibility after five with a consecutive 12 to 72. Count seven, the robbery with use of a deadly weapon. It's concurrent. What does that mean?
that he's serving them at the same time. Same time. But then there's the 15-year one. That would like trump them all. You know what I mean? So in other words, if she were to read off seven different things and they were all for seven years, he'd just do seven years. It wouldn't be seven times seven, right? So basically whatever the maximum charge he's getting, that's what he's doing. You guys mind if I fast forward to OJ? Get it, Mike. Go. Go, go. You devote to the next guy's life being raised. Put it in perspective, didn't it? All right, for Mr. Simpson. Yeah! Oh, she... Oh, my gosh. She just... Are you kidding me? A fountain drink up to her lips and sipped out of a straw. A straw? And she's now going to tell him. Covered with lipstick on the top of the straw. The guy is about to go to jail. Oh, my God. What an incredible picture. What an incredible picture. And now, Mr. Simpson. Wait, let me. This is going to be wild. We hate you. She's like, sorry. It doesn't have great taste unless it gets all over your face. You're in my throat. This is going to be a good one. Can I take a bite of my $5 foot long hair? Listen to this. You can hear her. By the way, you won't be having one of these for a long time. You can hear her putting down the cup. Listen to this.
Mr. Simpson. Here's the drink. She sips and puts it down. All right, Mr. Simpson, in addition to the $25 administrative assessment and the $150 DNA fee, I'm going to sentence you as follows. Oh, you're doing math. They're showing the Goldmans. Count one, conspiracy to commit a crime, one year in the county jail. Count two, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, a minimum term of 12 months, max term of 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count two to run concurrent to count one. Count three, conspiracy to commit robbery, a minimum term of 12 months, maximum term of 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count three to run concurrent to count two. Count four, burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon, a minimum term of 26 months, a maximum term of 120 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count four to run concurrent to count three. I thought her job was to decide which it is. Like when she says 12 to 48.
I thought that's her job to say, and so I'm giving you 48. Say that loud or what? Yeah, the minimum part, I guess. So he has to serve the minimum part of it? He has to serve the minimum part and the maximum of the back end. So we've heard that means a minimum of 26 months is the highest we've heard yet. It's the highest we've heard. So two years and two months so far. Count five. The first degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. A fixed term of 15 years, parole eligibility beginning after five years. Five years. With a consecutive 12 to 72. So that means, what do we know? We know he's going to jail for a minimum of five years. I believe so. Max 15. Before he can even be heard parole. That'll run concurrent to count four. Count six, first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon. A fixed term of 15 years with parole eligibility beginning after five years.
with a consecutive 12 to 72. That will run concurrent to count five. Still only five years. Robbery with use of a deadly weapon, a minimum term of 60 months, a maximum term of 180 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections, with a consecutive 12 to 72, and again the enhancement because of the increased harm that the gun posed. Count seven will run concurrent to count six. Count eight, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, a minimum term of 60 months, a max term of 180 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections with a consecutive 12 to 72. That'll be concurrent to count seven. You're listening to O.J. Simpson getting sentenced right now. The assault with a deadly weapon. Come on, don't keep us hanging. What do you see, Crest? A minimum term of 18 months, a max term of 72 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. That'll run consecutive to count eight. 10, minimum term of 18 months, a maximum term of 72 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Count 10 will run consecutive to count 9. Credit for time served is 64 days. That concludes today's sentencing. We're adjourned. Let's see if they show up. Well, there you have it. The sentencing in the O.J. Simpson case.
Quite frankly, I can't even keep up to it. Keep up with it, with all those counts and all those months, up to 12 months. And the Goldmans, you can just see the Goldmans, they're just sort of, they don't seem overly enthusiastic. Well, I think the math is confusing, but we were delayed on that because we were pausing the TiVo, but CNN is now saying O.J. Simpson's sentenced to at least 15 years. At least 15 years. At a minimum. Minimum is 15 years that he will serve in prison. But they said five. To 15. Yeah, see, minimum five, maximum 15. Fox News is saying at least six, maximum 16. Really? What's OJ Online saying? Thejuice.com. So, well, lowest number we've heard, five. Yeah, now everybody's saying something different. Yeah. It's confusing. Yeah. I'm used to just walking out. That's right. Can I just go home now? Like, I could go, right? Can we get a Coke before I leave? I want to go to a vending machine. That was just a formality, right? Yeah, where's rallies? Number two, please. Hold onion. There it is. O.J. Simpson just sentenced. We don't know how long. Yeah, I'm reading lots of places. They're now saying he'll be eligible for parole in six years. Yeah, what I got from it is, you know, when he said the 5 to 15, and then the last count she said,
Instead of concurrent, she said consecutive. And it was another 12 months, I believe. So that made it six. So we're talking at a minimum six years. Can I just write a book that's called If I Actually Went to Jail? Man. So there it is, man. We will not be seeing OJ's face for six years. Crazy. How old is he now? Anybody know? 61, they said. 60 or 61. Wow. I didn't know he was that old. Wow. Wow. That just makes you think. So he must have been, what, 48 back when the original stuff happened? Something like that? Let's see. First of all, thank you to Mr. Craig Guess. Oh, wow. Thank you, man. So fun, man. It was fun. It's always fun, dude. Favorite show. And then they have like, it's kind of like when Scooby-Doo, they'd have like Batman would be on sometimes. And then sometimes the Hollow Globetrotters. I'm like Metal Ark. I showed up for a day. There you go. I'm Metal Ark. Or Curly. I like it. Or Curly. 570-1053. 570-1053 is our phone number. And on Monday, we will find out what happened to all the people on...
Weekend worry wart. All the people that called in said they were freaked out about something. We'll also talk to Sean Merriman. He'll be in a better mood. Yeah, definitely. That was a very nice win for the Chargers, so he should be in a better mood. So 570-1053 is our number. We take your calls at the beginning and end of every show. And we let you call in about anything you want to. And we also tell you about stuff that we'll be doing this weekend. Ashley. If you want to come hang out, this is pretty huge. I will be out tonight at BevMo in Encinitas, and we will be drawing a winner for the Las Vegas UFC trip with the Mikey show. Hey, Skye. Pull my name. So, the BevMo in Encinitas starting at 4 o'clock. No, at some point in the next month or two, I'll be doing a show here in San Diego. And Boston Rob may be making his stand-up comedy debut at the show. Dude, that's awesome. It's going to be huge. It's going to be big. If awesome means horrible, yeah. No, dude. It'll be awesome. Wow. Maybe I won't, Craig. I don't know. I don't know if I was supposed to let the cat out of the bag, but we're going to go talk about comedy. He's been wanting to do stand-up for a while. I think he'll be good. I've seen him in front of a crowd. I think he'll be good. There's just some parameters you just got to keep yourself within, but I think it'll be exciting. Yeah. Yes.
Tomorrow night, I will be emceeing the third day show, The Rock Church, if you want to go. Tickets are available at milesahead.com, M-I-L-E-S-A-H-E-A-D, milesahead.com. Helping out a lot of people in a lot of different countries and even here, too. You can see me at Roundtable Pizza because I'm hungry. There you go. Dude, if you can find a Roundtable to do RT pizza sandwiches, oh. I forgot that you love Roundtable so much. Dude, it gives me the worst gas, but it's the best pizza on the planet. It does. Awesome. Text messages. Mikey, today's show was great. Craig was awesome. I just have one question for him. Can he read the news? That's P1JMA. Oh, man. He knew that was coming. Maybe he doesn't get that. Well... Mikey, can I hear the Sean version of Kiyos? That's P1 Misfit. Nope, Sean said to sign off. Kiyos. Mikey, Craig meant to say white bronco, not white horse. That's P1 OJ. Three years. Kidnapping, 15 years. Drinking a big gulp before sticking it to someone? Priceless. That's awesome. That's P1RB. That's pretty good.
Your phone call is 570-1053. P1 Kitty McMue is on the line. Hi, Kitty McMue. Hey, Mikey. What's up? Dude, do you have your radio turned up? Sorry about that, bro. That means you're not a P1. Mikey Show. Hello. They just got their radio turned up today. Sounds like the beginning of that Living Colors. Yeah. Mikey Show. Hello? How many phones? Maybe the phones are... Something's wrong with the phones. Someone touched something? I don't know. I'd have snipped the wires. I'm sorry. Oh, OJ. I'm sorry. Oh, bad OJ voice. Didn't watch it. Mikey Show, can you hear me? Hey. Can you hear me? Hello? Hello? That is so weird. Hello? Hello? Test one, two. Test one, two. Hello? What's going on? I can hear him. Can you hear him? Yeah, but there's something I'm feeding through. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, is it the TV? TV? No. Is your radio on, bro?
No, it's not. It's not the radio. It's not them. Tell them to hang on. Hang on? There's something. Can you hear me now? Yeah, it's good now. Is it better now? Yeah. Yeah, it was something over there. That's weird. I don't know what it was. Touching stuff. I don't know. Crazy hair Rob helped you out. That's right. Rob got it fixed. Thank you, guys. I just got back from, I was there for five months and working in an orphanage and you guys kept me sane. Dude, that's awesome. That's awesome. I didn't really have too many friends there. It's kind of not what I'm used to, but you guys kind of reminded me of what it was like, so it was nice. Well, that's awesome, dude. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Thank you for calling, man. All right, thanks, man. All right, see you. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, Mikey. This is Q1 Alpha Phi Vega. I was wondering if I could plug an event that my fraternity is hosting for the Santa community this Christmas. Sure. Basically, we're planning a project called Operation Santa, where we're turning green Christmas for two needy families.
And what we need is we need people to email us to kind of refer to their situations and why they feel like this would help them out a lot. We need people to email us by December 15th at operationsanta08 at gmail.com. That's awesome, dude. Thank you. Okay. Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey. Two things. One, I want to say that I bought Lego Star Wars for the Wii. Oh, Wii. And now my son loves Star Wars. I'm so happy. That's awesome. Nice. Good job. He knows what Hoth is. He knows what Planet Dagobah is. It's a beautiful thing. That's great. Dagobah's a system, anyway. Oh, yeah. Anyway. And?
And... Secondly, can I please hear the Ashley version of Sean TV since it's not on anymore? Oh, this guy. Every time. Does this guy ask this every time? He does. He loves it. It's becoming a thing. He's texting. I love it. Can we just download it for him and send it to him? Yeah, dude. Why don't we just download it to you so that we don't have to do that every time? You know what I mean? So we don't have to hear it. You can't stop listening. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? But since you asked this one time... Mike, no! genuine confusion. Craig, did you just eat round table? Craig is genuinely confused. There it is. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, this is P1A town. I was just calling in because there was actually a hit and run in Alpine on December 2nd. Yeah, bro, we've been talking about that in the news. Yeah, I know, and I was just trying to get the word out to all the P1s out there. Yeah, dude, they made an arrest, didn't they, Sky?
Yeah, the Tuesday hit and run. Last night, they arrested the guy across the street from the candlelight vigil. Did you just call and you're calling back? Yeah, I did. Yeah, bro. The reason that you were screened out is because we already put the word out that they've already made an arrest. The guy was arrested last night. All right, great. I wanted everyone to know, you know, that... We already announced it, bro. Yeah, thanks. Your heart's in the right place. Your heart's in the right place, but we already announced that they made an arrest, dude. All right, cool. Thanks, man. All right, thanks. Mikey Show. Hey, I got hung up on. Can I still talk to him? You're on the air, dude. What's up? Oh, hey, bro. Hey, I'm going through a procedure this weekend. Uh-huh. I had addiction problems. Uh-huh. I was on a lot of methadone, and they're going to try a new experimental procedure, and they're going to knock me out for about three weeks. Okay. And I'm not going to remember any of it, you know, almost like a sedated coma. Yeah, I know people have done that. It works really, really well. Yeah, the difference between mine and, like, a heroin addict is methadone. It lasts so long in your body that it takes a long time to get out, and so I'm just nervous, and I'm not sure how it's going to go, and I just give you some prayers. Yeah, dude. What's your name, man? Trevor. Trevor. All right. Yeah. You guys, I just want to say you guys totally saved my life a bunch of times just by being there because I've been through a lot of stuff, and, you know, you don't have many friends, and I was homeless, and you just...
Every time I heard you, Mikey, it just gave me a lot more motivation to see how it could be, you know? Do you have email? Hey, Trevor. Trevor, can you hear me? Yeah. Trevor, do you have email, bro? Yeah. Okay, I'm going to put you on hold. I'm going to have Zeth get your email address. Right on, bro. All right, man. Hang on, all right? Good luck. Good luck, dude. Get his email, Zeth. That's Trevor. And that's cool, dude. I want to let people know about a resource too. There's something now for you called p1faith.com. And it's amazing. It's really blew me away. Blew me away. p1faith.com. It's an unbelievable website. And if you are experiencing any kind of a traumatic experience in your life, if you need some uplifting, Check out that website. story about where I came from. There may be a lot of you listening right now that consider yourself insecure. And that's the way that I grew up. When I was five, I was a victim of sexual abuse. Through much of my life have felt a sense of not belonging. I've experienced a great deal of shame, an extraordinary amount of guilt and regret. I've hated myself. I've thought of myself at times as being inside. It wasn't a conscious thing. It wasn't like I woke up and I said, oh, yeah, I'm worthless. It wasn't like that. It was just an overall thing that I lived with, like having brown eyes or having brown hair. It was something that I believed about myself unconsciously. And I was in my when I was in my late 20s.
I started to drink a lot. My late 20s and into my early 30s, I was drinking a lot of alcohol. And my friends knew that I had a drinking problem. My family knew that I had a drinking problem. But I wasn't 100% sure they knew that. My dad called me over the house one time and he said, unless you stop drinking, I can't continue to have a relationship with you. And it broke my heart. And I left there and I went and I bought alcohol and I drank the rest of the day because I was addicted to it. When I would wake up in the morning, my hands would shake until I drank. I have secrets that some of you, the only people that know about some of my secrets, are the people directly involved in God. Around 2003, I knew that I had to change my life or I was going to die. I asked Jesus Christ to come into life and change it. And his actual spirit is shaping me ever since that day into something new.
If you are dealing with addiction or you're feeling lonely or you're feeling desperate, like times right now that you feel like you can't get out of, if there is a pain in your life that hurts so bad, if there's a secret you're holding on to, I want you to know that I have been there. Ask Jesus Christ to come into my life and change it. And I still mess it up sometimes. In fact, this morning, before I came into work, I sat in my car and I said, if I mess it up today, Will you let me feel? He does promise you that everything's going to be sunshine and roses. Because for me, it hasn't been sunshine and roses every day. But what there has been is a change in my soul and salvation, grace, mercy. On my website too, it's mikeyshow.com. You click on the keyword section and you just type in the word help. It'll take you to my website and it'll give you information about addiction, depression, eating disorders.
It'll give you lots of cool information and that stuff. And if you're dealing with any of that stuff that I talked about that I went through, I just want you to know, you don't have to feel that way anymore. You don't have to feel that way ever again. Every day at the end of the show, I play this song. And the lyrics of the song are about hope. You can't attach enough of a price value. And some of you are listening right now and you feel like you don't have any of that. You're going through a divorce or a breakup and you feel like you don't have any hope. You don't have anything to look forward to. You do. Really listen to the words to the song I'm going to play. It's called Tunnel. It's by Third Day. They're playing live tomorrow night at the Rock Church and I'll be emceeing it and I'd love to meet you. So go to milesahead.com and buy the last few remaining tickets that are left right now and come down there tomorrow night and listen to the words to this song. It's called Tunnel and it's really
