The show centered on the fatal University City F/A-18 crash: Mikey and Sky described the family killed, eyewitnesses described the low flight and burning debris, and former pilot Michael argued Miramar was the proper target until a second failure forced ejection. Sky also brought in national news about Rod Blagojevich allegedly selling Barack Obama's Senate seat, the Prop 8 'Day Without a Gay' protest, Imperial Beach's anger at Secret Millionaire, and Paula Abdul's accusations against Fox, American Idol producers and Simon Cowell. The comedy came from Tor Constantino's revolting mustache stunt, Boston Rob's O.J. street interviews, a surprisingly successful P1 Password round, and a Bill Clinton impersonator pitching stolen radio bits. The crew also turned Boston Rob's hated haircut into a fundraiser for Rady's Children's Hospital, while caller Tyler stunned them with a $4,500 month of newspaper-route tips.
What happened, in order
F-18 crashes into family home
Mikey and Sky reported that an F/A-18 struck a University City home, killing a mother, grandmother and two babies, while the pilot ejected near Miramar.
Tor's unbreakable mustache gag
Mikey and Eddie remembered Tor Constantino blowing mucus into his giant mustache, making them collapse with laughter while he calmly delivered serious news.
The $4,500 paper route
Caller Tyler said his La Jolla newspaper route brought him $4,500 in December tips, including one $150 gift.
A Senate seat for sale
Sky broke the news that Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich had been arrested for allegedly trying to sell Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat, and the crew marveled that he discussed it while suspecting a wiretap.
A Day Without a Gay
Sky explained the Prop 8 protest's call for gay workers to stay home and volunteer, while Eddie questioned whether a walkout across varied occupations would demonstrate a clear economic impact.
An F-18 pilot explains
Former F-18 pilot Michael described 'aviate, navigate, communicate,' arguing Miramar was the logical landing target and that a linked second-engine failure likely forced the late ejection.
You Got Rob: O.J. verdict
Boston Rob asked pedestrians about O.J. Simpson's new sentence, repeatedly heard that karma caught up with him, and derailed interviews with jokes about the Jonas Brothers, K-Fed and Sky's love of ham.
Shave Boston Rob for charity
The crew persuaded fiercely reluctant Boston Rob to shave his long-grown hair, promising half the donations to Rady's Children's Hospital and a Yankees logo if listeners raised $1,000.
Secret Millionaire insults IB
Sky said Imperial Beach residents were angry that Fox's Secret Millionaire depicted their city as a dangerous slum and even claimed 250,000 people lived below poverty in a town of only 28,000.
P1 Password surprise
Boston Rob and Zeth unexpectedly swept five Password clues in 60 seconds, with 'Sky takes baths' supplying the final answer.
Bill Clinton steals the show
A Bill Clinton impersonator pitched a replacement for Bill O'Reilly's radio show by shamelessly recycling Mikey Show bits and mocking Hillary Clinton through increasingly absurd segment ideas.
Paula Abdul versus Idol
Sky relayed Paula Abdul's claim to Barbara Walters that American Idol producers ignored her warning about an obsessed fan and that Fox, the producers and Simon Cowell were conspiring to ruin her career; the hosts dispute

And he said, can I use your phone? But then he couldn't remember what number he needed to call. He said, I was flying on one engine for about 100 miles. Everybody, it is 6-0-4. Authorities plan to resume their search this morning for a missing child in the remains of the University City home that was destroyed yesterday when a fighter plane crashed into it. After 355 career wins and a Hall of Fame career, former Padres pitcher Greg Maddox announces his retirement. Hey, Greg, what do you think about the Hall of Fame? You don't really have any thoughts of it right now at this moment. You know, I think there's a lot of good players in there. I mean, I don't really have any thoughts on it. You know, it's just I know my son's got a tournament there next summer. I'm looking forward to going then. And we're going to, you know, go there and watch him play and hopefully get a chance to look around and see it. You know, I had a little bit of a chance this past year when we were there, but didn't really have the time I'd like to spend there and really check everything out.
Sat down about 1 o'clock yesterday and was going to start going over some emails and everything. And I sign on to my homepage, and it's the news. And it's Fox News. It's national. First thing, giant headline, plane crash in San Diego. Grab the remote control, turn the TV on. And, I mean, it's national. You could have put it on CNN. You could have seen the coverage. The coverage that they're piping to you is from San Diego. And so, I mean, just a trip. Craziness. Yeah, just a trip. And what we want to know is if anybody listening saw it, knows anybody involved, or maybe even a rescue worker, a police officer, or somebody that was in the area, or any of that kind of stuff. But a huge, huge story. Obviously, one of those ginormous front page on the UT today. Three dead, Skye? Yeah, three dead, one missing. But they had to call off the search last night because it got dark. But they are expecting to find the remains of that other child in the rubble of the home. Because there were reportedly four people in the home at the time the jet crashed into it. A mother.
Her mother, the grandmother, and then two children. I'm assuming the kids would be really young, and that's why they weren't at school. Yeah, a one-year-old and a two-month-old. And the reason the grandmother was there, I guess, according to people at their church, the grandmother was there from Korea because they had just had the second baby. And they had just recently moved into this home because they needed more space for their growing family. Oh, wow. Yeah, very tragic. That is a tremendously, tremendously sad story. Photographs on the front page of the UT are just, you know, they're indescribable. I mean, that house is, there's nothing left of it except the garage. Looks like an extended garage or something, you know? 570-1053 is the phone number. And, yeah, we'll open up the phone lines to...
Well, anybody, I mean, that wants to comment on it and kind of where you were when you found out about it and all that stuff. Certainly, San Diego doesn't want to be making national news for this reason, but it's terrible. Ironically, the pilot, from what I understand, is okay. Yeah, the pilot ejected. And landed in a tree and was fine, was taken to the hospital. They're not talking about the extent of the pilot's injuries, but it doesn't sound like anything too serious. You know, I was seeing on the news last night that any time a pilot has to eject from a plane like that, it's obviously very traumatic on the body, especially the spine, just because of the pressure when you eject like that. But, you know, as of now, no reports of any serious injury to the pilot. Did you see the pictures? Of the pilot. It was crazy. Someone had taken pictures. I was watching the news late last night and someone had taken pictures of him right when they had found him. He looked totally normal. Was walking. The one I saw was him sitting on the ground with a cell phone. No way. Just sitting there making a phone call.
Nothing. Which, I guess, like in their flight suits or whatever, they got pockets. He has a cell phone in there. Or somebody let him borrow a cell phone. Because he had a bottle of water, too. People were taking care of him. Dude. He was nuts. Dude. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number, 35253. And give us a call. It was a F-A-18. Yeah, and it was on a training mission off the carrier, the Abraham Lincoln, and was ordered to fly to Miramar rather than returning to the carrier after it lost one of its engines. But then they say as it was trying to make its way to Miramar, according to a lieutenant, the other engine failed. No way. And then the pilot ejected only about 25 feet above the ground was when he finally activated the ejector seat. No way. Wow. So up until that point, I'm guessing he was probably trying to control. Yeah. He was just trying to get back to Miramar, you know, because he was only about a mile northwest of Miramar. I mean, it was close. Did you guys see the pictures from above where you could see Miramar's right there? You could see the landing strip. Oh, man. No way. So he was close. Yeah. 570-1053 is the phone number, and the text number is 35253. And again.
If you were in the neighborhood and you saw the plane as it was starting to come down, or if you know anybody that was involved in this directly or indirectly, or if you were some sort of a person responding to it, love to hear from you, 570-1053. And Eddie is working on getting all kinds of different people on the show this morning to talk about it. And we may even have Mari Payton. from NBC739 calling in. Let's introduce everybody. There's seven of us. I'm Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38 years old. We do the beginning of the show kind of like opening credits of a TV show so you kind of know who everybody is. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. Eddie's been my best friend since we were kids. And man, am I reminded that yesterday I talked to our friend Tor Constantino. You did? Yeah. Look at Eddie's face. Wow. Shock. I had not talked. Who's that? Oh, dude. Sky, you would love this guy so much, man. He is so nice and so cool and so funny and just a good dude, you know? How do you know him? We worked with him in Rochester. Oh, wow. A while back. Yes. And he has a very distinct way of talking.
and uses very, very funny kind of words when he talks. I can't remember what we were talking about yesterday, but he goes, oh, that is unsavory. Unsavory. Oh, I want to start using that. Oh, it's fantastic. He is great. And, of course, he was asking a lot of questions about Ed. Oh, Ed. Yeah, one of the very few people that would call me Ed. Yes. And I would allow it. You allowed it? Yeah. It was great. It was so funny the way he said it. It was so funny. He's one of the only guys to ever make me break when trying to not break on the air. You know, like, in other words, if I'm trying to be... and not be made to laugh on the air. It's very difficult to get me to. You could pretty much try anything and it's not going to happen. And before we went on the air, he said, I guarantee you that I can get you to laugh. And in my head, I'm thinking, oh, he's going to moon me. You know, it's like everything that I could possibly dream up, he did not do. So we go on the air.
And Tor was clean-shaven, except for a big, gigantic, bushy, Tom Selleck mustache. Sexy. He actually looks like Tom Selleck. Yeah, he kind of does. He kind of does, but he had this big, bushy mustache. And so, now this was a radio station that played Celine Dion. Very light, easy, very serious, okay? And so it would be one thing to get somebody to break on a rock station where the whole idea is shenanigans. But when you're talking like this, and it's a light and easy station where it's all about being light and easy, it's a whole different thing. And when you're Mike Shannon, Michael Shannon, is that who I was at the time? I don't even remember if I was Mike Esparza, Michael Shannon, what I was. I mean, you were Mike at the night. Mike at the night. I don't remember what. I like it. Very original. Very clever. Mike in the night. We were a radio network that broadcasted throughout the Northeast and we would have news updates. We had a whole newsroom and the reporters would come in at the top of the hour and give news updates. I would run the board, Mike was the DJ, and Tor came in to give these news updates. The three of us were in the studio together.
Now, you have to understand, Tor was a pretty serious... Very buttoned up. Very buttoned up. Very serious about his news. But, you know, he's young like us. But what we knew of him was that he would enjoy a good laugh. Sure. And as he would say, a good chortle. Yes. He found us amusing. What? A good chortle at our... Who says that? He did. Tor did. That's the thing. He meant it. He wasn't saying it to be funny. He was a little nerdy in that way. That's the way he spoke. When you were talking about these words he used, I'm envisioning him as a 60-year-old man. But when you just said right now he's the same age as you guys, I'm like, what? So we go on. I go on the air. And I'm in the middle of saying something. And I'm looking at him almost as if to say, try me. Bring it on. And he goes, and he blows boogers all over that big, giant, bushy mustache. Like huge amounts. Disgusting. It was almost as if he had a cold. Yes. And I... Oh, it was bad. I'm in the middle of a very serious thing, and I burst out laughing so... And I couldn't regain myself. I believe you were throwing it to him.
for his news update, and I believe he did the news with this job. Oh, yeah, yeah, he did. He had a gob of boogers on his mustache. He did. And he didn't break. Me and Mike are dying, and he wouldn't break. Did you leave? I think you left. I couldn't leave. Oh, that's right. So you were running the board. Yeah, I was running the board. Oh, my God. Fantastic moment. Disgusting yet hysterical. Fantastic moment. Yuck up. Wow. That guy was the best. What I would have done to be there. Oh, Rob. It was so great. Eddie, do you have him on your Facebook? Yeah. That's so great. 570-1053 is our phone number. What the heck? Oh, man. Give us a call. Let's see. Eddie is our producer and sports guy. He is 35 years old, and he is married and has a house decorated with lights. Yeah, he does. Thank you. Although, Rob, one of our things, one of the candy cane things came down.
Oh, no. And so I had to fix it. I had to fix it. Hey, hey, no judging here. Come on. Just say it. It's a judge-free place. Eddie has a beautiful house. No, but you can hide it. You do it on the backside. We're not duct-taping the whole time. I would see this more as a judge-rich environment. Very much. I like to pretend it's not. It has a lot of judge potential, is what I'm saying. There's a lot of judge potential. We're judge friendly. Yes, we are. We're pro judge. Skye is our news girl. And she is also very pretty, has curly hair, and is a white girl. So these are things you should know. That's crazy. She is wearing a track jacket today. Yep, it's the Walk and Talk Tuesday. Oh, I see. Yep, I am going to be reaching out to my friend Ashley for some fashion advice for when we Vegas it up. Let me tell you something. Ashley, she works out a lot, and I guess she has to, because you know, Skye, this girl eats them. She eats. She likes the food. She really likes the way it tastes. Yeah, I love it. To the point where she eats a lot of it. Did you see her with the cinnamon sticks yesterday?
Oh, that was crazy. Did you eat that whole pizza yesterday? No. No, that's a lie. Well, yeah, you can hear it immediately. No, I didn't. When she says no, she means yes. I can't stop eating. No, I didn't. But I ate junk yesterday. All I've eaten in the past since my brother got into town, so since Friday night, all I have consumed is pizza and Mexican food and dessert stuff. That's it. I thought you were allergic to Mexicans. I know. How are you doing? I've been doing better with it. I don't know what to eat. I got the carne asada plate on Sunday, and it was delicious. Oh, wow. Why would someone order a carne asada plate? It went down real well, Mike. Okay. So she's a vegetarian and allergic to Mexicans, and so she got the carne asada plate. Right. Wow. Irony. That's right. Sean is our sound effects guy. And we get to see him soon. Oh, yay. We'll be spending Friday morning in Las Vegas with him. As we will be going to Las Vegas broadcasting live from the Palms. And yeah, we're up there for the big UFC event. Oh, I gotta start watching all those shows, man. I got them all TiVo'd. Me too. You do, Sky? Yeah, I have like the last four episodes on my TiVo. Have you watched any? No.
Awesome. I'm scared. Yeah, because we're going to see the Ultimate Fighter finale. I can't wait. TV show The Ultimate Fighter. It's a big one. Ashley is our assistant producer. And she has, I think, getting to be long blonde hair. Getting to be. You know, you cannot describe it as short blonde hair. That is for sure. Boston Rob, I guess you could describe him as long blonde hair. Practically. I don't know what color hair he has. Mouse brown. Mouse brown. Oh, dude. That's perfect. It is kind of that mouse brown. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah, dirt brown's better. You know like the little cute little mouse peeking out of the little teacup? No. What? That color. No. Like ratatouille? Yeah, like ratatouille. Boston Rob is 26. There it is. All right. 26 years old. Just had a birthday.
So now he's 26, and he's actually from Boston, and everything about him is all Boston. I can't believe I'm 26. I can't either. You guys know me for a while. I know. Yeah. Like six when we met. Yeah. He's a little guy. Then there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Jr., Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. That's right. There he is, Rosie. And he screens phone calls for us. So if you want to call us, 570-1053, give us a call. The news of the day is the big jet crash that happened yesterday in San Diego. And the pilot, I got to see those pictures you guys are talking about. It seems like a trip. Yeah, and, you know, a lot of parents were freaking out yesterday, too, because the plane crash just happened blocks away from University City High School. Oh, gosh. I mean, I, you know, because I was listening to the radio on the way home and heard the DJ say, we're getting early reports. There's just been a plane crash. So I immediately, you know, switch over to Kogo. And they're talking to kids on their cell phone because they're out at their lunch break when this happens. Really? So the kids, like, saw it, you know, go down. And so they're, like, calling, you know, on their lunch break. And first of all, to hear kids report the news. It's weird.
Yeah, this dude was like, yeah. But anyway, but so obviously parents are freaking out. They want to get to their kids, but the school was put on lockdown. The whole area was shut off. So they were telling parents, don't come down here. Don't come down here right now. So, you know, but the school took care of it. All the kids were safe, put them in lockdown. But what was also really scary about the area was toxic fumes, a lot of toxic fumes from the jet, just from the. jet fuel from the things the jet is actually made of, you know, things burning from the homes. But it was probably like a good hour of me watching news until I finally started seeing the people on the news wearing masks. But that first hour, everybody was just running around, you know, without masks on. Did you guys happen to catch the plane's canopy leaning on the fence? Did you see that? No. Early, when I was watching about 1 o'clock, and it was on 739, they were kind of there live, and they're showing the canopy of the F-18. And it's almost like it got broken in the shape of a boomerang. And it's hanging on the fence that separates one house from another, the wooden fence. It was so crazy, you know? 570-1053 is the number. And P1 Richard.
He's on the line. What's up, Richard? Hi, Mikey. You guys have an awesome show. Thank you, man. I was in the Air Force. I was crash recovery for a couple years. And, you know, as sad as it is, that pilot might have some serious problems. I mean, I guess he tried to hold that bird, you know, as long as he could before he bailed out. But the worst thing he could have said, Mikey, was... Yeah, I've been on one engine for the last hundred miles because he came off of a ship that was out in the ocean. And when that occurred, he should have turned that thing around because it is considered an air emergency and ditched that thing in the ocean. He should have never been near San Diego. So when those suckers are on one engine, when they're on one engine, I'm guessing that... See, because what I've always heard about, like, say, bigger aircraft is that... when they lose, and even aircraft that have two engines, one on each wing, I've heard that a lot of them are able to sustain flight with one engine. They are. They are. But it is still considered an emergency. Like when I was in the Air Force, we would have airplanes that were 40, 60 miles out, and they would have a flame out in one of their engines, and we would have everybody out on that flight line for when they came in because it was considered a crash landing.
No matter what, if they made it perfect, it was still considered a crash landing. He just should have just turned that thing around. Well, didn't they tell him to go to? Yeah, that's what I was going to say. He was ordered to fly to Miramar rather than to turn it around. Oh, good. I wonder why. I wonder why, instead of just turning it around, I wonder why the order to go to Miramar. I guess that they would be prepared, more prepared. I don't know. Yeah, and, you know, who knows? Because, you know, they were doing this training exercise. So who knows exactly, you know, like this guy says, 100 miles. You know, who knows exactly where he was when he realized the engine was out. You know, he could have already been over the city, not, you know, still over the ocean. Right. 570-1053 is our phone number. Our text number is 35253. And so you can give us a text message or a phone call, answering machine number. We even have that set up for you. If you're too shy for both, 858-715-1923. 858-715-1923 is the number. And again, if you're just waking up, did you see it? Do you know anybody that was involved in it? Or are you a rescue?
like somebody that may have responded to the crash yesterday. But yeah, definitely gigantic news. Phone lines blowing up. People are waking up. Mikey, you guys have the best show ever. Love you guys. P1 Handman. Thank you, Handman. Mikey, haven't heard you talk about your reef tank. Did you get rid of it? P1 Pubula. No, have not gotten rid of it. Love it. Still, I have one fish. Because I'm not a big fish guy. I just like the corals. And the corals are good. They're beautiful. And I really enjoy... It's real relaxing looking in that thing. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be a snail living in there. Boring. Try it. Would it? Would it be boring? Have you seen Finding Nemo? Yeah.
What about Finding Nemo? They seem to dig it. They are miserable in that fish tank. Well, but they had a little tiny one in that orthodontist's office, man, and he was just boring. I'm pretty, you know, snazzy. There's a lot going on in yours. Yeah. They get to watch a lot when I'm in my office. You know, sometimes I pick my nose. Okay. No one wants to watch that. You know what I mean? Please don't. P1 Mike is on the line. What's up, Mike? Yes, I live in UC, and he... flew over our house. Really? And he was low, maybe 200 feet. It was like when the Blue Angels practice out here. Right. And I thought, wow, that was really weird. And then I heard all the sirens go off. What did the plane sound like when it was going over? Was it really loud? Oh, it was super loud. I didn't see it. I was up on a ladder painting under the eaves.
And that was just so weird. I've lived in UC for 40 years. And since I was, you know, a little kid. And it doesn't happen, a plane coming in that low. And so I got out to old Thomas Brothers last night. And I took a ruler on the map and put it over our house to the end of the runway. And it crossed right there with Catherine Huggins. He was beelining it. to the end of the runway over this populated area, which you see is a long populated area with two canyons on each side of it of open space. So with one engine, and he was flying low. He must have been flying, I don't know, 200 feet when he went over our house, and it was another mile and a half to Huggins. So I don't understand.
Why over the populated area and not just, you know, an eighth of a mile to each side? I think that all of these questions, they're going to be answered pretty soon. Oh, yeah. In fact, I would guess that just a little bit later today, we'll probably start to get more information about that stuff as they talk to him, debrief him, start asking him questions about what happened. with the decision making that went into it. And it could be like Sky said, they could have said, they could have told him that that's what he had to do. Yeah. I mean, I can't imagine that the pilot would be talking to somebody up there and not at some point communicate, is this what you want me to do? Right. Or them tell him what to do and him be like, nah. Exactly. I'm good. Yeah, I'm going to go this way. And the other thing is, is that, you know, for him, he's probably going to have to bail out no matter what. And so he must have been trying, I'm guessing, to do whatever he thought the best thing to do was.
You know, from watching a lot of the eyewitness reports on the news, you know, lots of people who were watching the plane because it was so loud, you know, actually saw that second engine blow. So, you know, I'm sure they were just hoping that he was going to make it back. You know, they weren't expecting that second engine to blow. Right. You know, because they said it was kind of like pop, pop, you know, that second engine blew and then he ejected. Yeah, I think that even people on the scene, they said that, that it was like a big popping noise. Yeah, yeah. Dude, what must have been going on with those engines, I wonder? You know, because you just rarely hear about stuff like this happening. Like, what went wrong? Let's see. P1 G-Star is on the line. What's up, G-Star? Hey, Mikey. What's up? Well, my husband and I are really good friends with somebody who actually works with that command. And that's actually one of his aircraft that he works on. Really? Whoa. Yeah. Of course, he wasn't working on it at the time because it was on the ship and he was at Miramar. Right. But, yeah, we called him last night. We're like, dude, is that one of your planes? He's like, yeah. So I guess what had happened was they did tell him when he got off the airplane that he needed to, you know, the, hey, my engine is blown or whatever. But they told him to make it Miramar because I guess they do that regularly. He was coming back from a training mission, so he couldn't really turn around because the ship was pulling into port. Wow.
So, yeah, the ship was heading into port. He was coming back from his training mission. So it was, you know, he had to land and they were hoping that the final engine would stay. Wow. Wow. I wonder if it may be a case of because the other engine is being taxed so much, you know, in other words, you're just relying on that one engine to get you there. And so it's working overtime, maybe just like. Gabe, I don't know. What do I know? It's definitely possible. P1 Danae. Hey, guys. What's up? I was calling because I'm prior military. I'm in an aviation unit, and it's kind of making me mad how everybody's trying to blame the pilot for this. Nobody intends to hurt anybody. He was trying to make it back to safety safely, and my husband is a Marine on Miramar, and he said that the pilot was half a mile from the flight line. So he was trying to make it safely. Nobody can determine, like, how long you can last on one engine or any of this. He was intending to get there safely and not hurt anybody. So it's kind of just making me mad how the media is kind of pointing the spirit at the pilot and making it sound like it was an intentional thing. Well, I'll tell you what, man. We're not. I hope nobody thinks it, you know. I kind of think the guy's a hero. Yeah. I mean, he's trying to get it in.
you know, as long as possible. He waited the last second to bail out. Yeah, I mean, just by the fact that he was, what, 25 feet from the ground? Yeah, that's crazy in itself. I mean, he waited until the very last minute. You guys are the first people that I haven't heard point the finger because I was watching the news all day yesterday and the president even called me. It was just one reporter after another. Why didn't the pilot do this? Why didn't the pilot do that? I think they have questions. Yeah, and it's almost like, though, if you're not in that situation and if you don't know the logistics and the stuff that goes behind flying a plane, you don't understand. He could have made it back to Miramar on that one engine, but obviously something else went wrong. Yeah, no, I'm in total agreement with that. I'm in 100% agreement with that. And, you know, also the other deal is, you know, wait till we got all the facts. And obviously, you know, we don't have all the facts yet. All right. Thanks for the call. I appreciate it. It's P1 Danae. OK, quick time out and then we'll come back with your calls. Did you see it? Did you hear it? You know, do you know anybody that was involved in it? Are you somebody that works in, you know, some sort of a rescue capacity? And also.
Do you know anything about these planes or, you know, were you around when we've had this happen in the past here in San Diego? Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text number, 35253. We are going to be going to Las Vegas on Friday. That's one big thing I got to tell you about. Also, we're going to be shaving Boston Rob's head. And he has never, ever, one time agreed to this. Ever. ever agreed to this. Not one time. We've asked him before, and he's never said he'll do it. In fact, this is the only time he has ever even considered doing it, and the only way that he's going to do it is if P1s come down and donate money, half of which will be given to Children's Hospital. The other half will fund him getting a hamburger when he goes to Las Vegas. What about his eyebrows? Can we do those too? Oh, dude. Which needs it more, Eddie? The eyebrows or the actual hair? Also, Rob was out yesterday asking people what they thought of the OJ verdict. And so, You Got Rob is coming up on the show. Our money guy, George Chamberlain, coming in today. Also, P1 Password for movie passes. And a great, big, giant announcement to make for you coming up here. Nick DePowell in the stand-up spotlight. Love animals, too.

We have doggy hotels in this country. Did you see this? We got people sleeping on the streets in this country, yet somewhere there's a poodle pissed off because a maid didn't leave a liver snap on his pillow last night. I got a lady that lives next to me that talks to her pets like she thinks they're human. She's yelling at her dog last week. She's going, did you hear what I said? Did you hear what I said? I go, you know, I think his hearing's perfect. It's the English language that's throwing him off a tad. Maybe he can't hear you because he's wearing earmuffs and a hat. On the rock.

It's 6-4. says she's not slept at her home since an obsessed fan killed herself nearby three weeks ago. Monday Night Football last night saw the Panthers run wild over the Bucs 38-23. Both D'Angelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart ran for over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns. Wide receiver Steve Smith talks about smash and dash. I'm just part of the little package. We got smash and dash. They did an outstanding job. D'Angelo broke a single, single record.
by another great running back, Stephen Davis, that was here. You know, Jay Stu did an outstanding job. Those two have been running hard. And when those two are running hard, you know, there's really nothing in the passing game we can do anything special because those guys are running downhill and bowling balling people over. So, you know, I got a few blocks in, so I feel good. I feel part of it. Eddie, did you see Steve Smith on the field practicing beforehand with his headphones on? I think so, yeah. When he was catching the balls? Oh, yeah. Dude. That just looks cool. Yeah. The ball will come in, and he'll put just one hand out, like his left hand, and the ball goes right into his hand. Wow. It's so cool. Have you seen the SportsCenter commercial with him in it? Yeah, with the speed thing? The speed thing? Yeah. Guys, SportsCenter writer is writing on his computer, and he looks out of his cubicle, and Steve Smith is way down at the end of the hall photocopying stuff in his... Carolina Panthers uniform. Right. And he goes, hey, Steve, would you say that you're more speedy or electric? And Steve yells down the hallway, what'd you say? And he goes, ah, never mind. And he goes back for like two seconds, if that. Not even. And that's like half a second. And he goes, would you? And Steve's right there. He goes, what'd you say? He goes, ah, never mind. You kind of just answered it.
570-1053 is the phone number. Our text number is 35253. And the big news today is the jet crash that happened yesterday over University City, which I'm still trying to figure out where that is. If you're on 805, I'm trying to figure out where that is. Is it by like you can see? They said it's like right at Genesee, that exit? Yeah, south of the Miramar exit. Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Right off, so just west of the 805 south of the Miramar exit. Got it. Is where it happened. Got it. If you saw it, call us. If you heard it, call us. If you know anybody involved, call us. If you are a rescue worker that was working around it, call us. We want to talk to anybody that knows anything about it. 570-1053 is the number. Text us, 35253. Getting a lot of text messages, actually. And a couple of these text messages are sort of the same thing. Mikey, can we hear some of B-Rob's ham melody to start the day off right? Mikey, I'm dying to hear the Carol of the Hams. Can you guys make my Christmas wish come true? That's P1 Boo Donkey Roadie. How dare you? And of course, of course.
Of course we can. Eddie is doing his carol of the hams dance. It's almost like he's on skates, like high speed skates. And he's sort of got on a sweater with a scarf and he's doing the, you know, on the high speed skates. And he's concentrating. He really is. Really good. Honestly, I think he's got this one. I think he's in first place. I'm going to throw marbles. Is on of the Mikey show CD for the year 2008. It's on there. Whoa. And we have a big announcement. A lot of people have been asking us. When is that coming out? When is that coming out? When is that coming out? Okay. Well, we'll let you know. We'll let you know when it's going to be on sale. In fact, we will let you know that next hour. How about that?
I need to know. When? When? When? Lots of people want to know. Yeah. And we will also send out a text blast about it. P1 Justin, are you there? Yeah, this is Justin. Justin, what was going on with you? I was working across the street. When it went down, we heard the explosion. I actually felt the plane hit the ground. We rushed over there. Me and my coworker and I, like I said, I was right around the corner. By the time we got there, there was only like one cop car there. The plane was sitting in the middle of the street. Houses were on fire. People were running everywhere. What? There was a madhouse there yesterday. It's amazing how many people videotaped it and how quickly it's up. Yeah. How quickly it's up. Did you have a cell phone on you that took pictures or taped or anything like that? By the time I found a place to park, because there was pieces of airplanes on fire everywhere, I had to go around the corner. By the time I came around, they had a couple more cop cars there. I couldn't get a good clear shot of it, but my co-worker's got a good video on his phone of it on fire. Yeah. It's got to trip you out when you're in the middle of that. Kind of like, is this really happening? Am I really seeing this right now? Yeah. Surreal. That's what we were saying after it was all said and done. If we would have been, you know, a quarter of a mile over more, it would have been us. That is so weird. And this guy brings up a good point that everybody should know about the pieces of debris everywhere. Because there is debris, you know, all over that neighborhood. And so don't touch it. Whatever you do, don't touch it. Don't move it. Don't do anything with it. Call the Marine.
core if you have something in your yard because you would think it would well a couple things one is it belongs to the government yeah and then the other thing is is it would aid in the investigation so they probably want to know like don't touch it you know and also you know it could be toxic like you don't know like they were saying you know this one uh family had the the seat the ejector seat in their backyard but um there's like co2 canisters in there So don't touch it, don't move it, because you don't know when those things could blow up or whatever. Speaking of, somebody text-messaged us and said, Mikey, that pop-pop noise is the explosive charge that jettisons the canopy and fires the ejection rockets. That's P-1 Airmen. So, yeah, I guess those things could potentially be a little bit gnarly to mess with. This is P-1 Vic. What's up? How's it going? How's it going? Good, man. Hey, yeah, I'm with the Marines there that were part of the crew that went around and tried to pick up the random pieces in the people's yards. Oh, my. What do they send you out in? Do they send you out in like a truck or what? We took a bus, actually. There's a whole group of us from various squadrons that would go out and basically just on standby until someone called up and said, hey, we've got pieces over, you know, at such and such place.
And we'd just go out in like a small van, go out there and pick up the pieces, try to determine what it was, take it back over to the base over there at Miramar. Do you have to wear any kind of special outfit or anything? Most of the time we didn't, but we did have to make sure that we were wearing like a cranial gloves. Sometimes if we weren't sure, if it was like a... For instance, like a liquid oxygen container or something dangerous like that, we wouldn't necessarily have to wear more protective equipment like apron, special gloves, and a respirator to make sure we didn't breathe in any of this stuff. I wouldn't be great at that. You know why? Why? Hands. Yeah. True. Very dainty. Very careful. Feminine. At least you don't have petite feet. No, I don't. I do have petite hands. Yes. Feminine hands. I hand like a lady when I walk into the room. Thank you for the call. It's P1 Vic. I wonder if anybody tried to fool them and called and tried to give them their old treadmill that they wanted to get rid of and be like, oh, this is a piece of the crap. Yeah, exactly. That's weird. It looks like a treadmill. I know, but it was part of the plan. Yeah, I know. It totally was. Can you just take it? Well, yeah, but it looks like a... Just seriously. It's a rocking chair. It's very dangerous. I'm telling you, it's a rocking chair. It's very dangerous. Can you get this out of here?
That's a twin size bed. Okay. It must have been in the plane. It wasn't. It came crashing down. It's a twin size. Can you get that out of it? It's a bunk bed here. I just, you want me to take, I just saw this. All goodwill, bro. 570-1053 is our phone number. Couple of questions for the Oracle. Oracle, who do you think is the NFL MVP? That's P1 Drake. Impossible question right now. Really? It changes every week. Oh, wow. I mean, one week, you know, I remember saying on the pregame show that it was Brett Favre. Another week I was saying that it was, you know, I mean, any quarterback. Kurt Warner was the name that we brought up. Eli Manning was the name we brought up. I mean, but, you know, he just lost. You know, I just. It changes, really, week to week. You even have to consider Kerry Collins. He's the quarterback of a 12-1 football team. He's playing very well. There's a lot of people. If Jeff Garcia would have had a good game last night and he would have got a win, he would have been in consideration. All he's doing is winning football games. If you had to choose today, who would it be? If I had to give it to a person right this second,
I would probably give it to Kurt Warner just because he's winning. I would give the offensive MVP, though, to Drew Brees. If Drew Brees were on a winning, contending football team, he would probably win it. But it's tough to give it to a guy that's not in contention. This text says, Morning, Mikey. I'm having trouble gift shopping for my brother this holiday season and wanted to get Eddie's help. I know he's a good gift giver. He is. I wanted to ask Eddie, what does he think of purchasing DVDs? And can I get his opinion on any that might be available? That's P1 Need an Idea. What a perfect time to ask. Just today, Dark Knight is being released. Oh, put that on. It's got to be the best Christmas gift ever. That's incredible, man. What a gigantic announcement. Oh, it's unbelievable, Mike. I've been waiting for today for a long time. Dark Knight. That is really awesome. One of the new DVD releases today. That's great, Eddie. And that's what I would get. For your friend. Well, Skye will cover it later. She's got new releases. Oh, that's today? Oh, and he just put his hands on his head. Oh, he's putting his hands on his face like Home Alone. I can't believe I did that. I'm not going to let it get to me. Everything's fine. I feel terrible now. They asked the question, Skye. What was I supposed to do? I didn't mention Lost. He asked a question. I mean, you just did right now.
Oh, no. This text says, Sean, how much does it bother you when you have to sign a debit card slip at a place that does nothing like Quiznos? And then there's a line for a tip. What a joke. That's P1 Thompson twins. What do you think, Sean? A tip. OK, you know, like when you go to like one of those delis and then there's a tip thing there. It's a tip jar. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they there was no server. That's what they're saying. They're like, doesn't it bother you when there's no server yet they're asking for a tip? Yeah, I mean, it doesn't really make sense. I mean, I don't concern myself with it too much because I ignore anything that's on the counter that says tip or if there's a jar or whatever. You know, I never put anything in there. Sean doesn't tip. I never really gave it that much thought, but now I think about it. Yeah, it does kind of bother me. Speaking of tipping, look what arrived with our newspaper this morning. What? Let's see.
It says warm holiday wishes from your newspaper carrier. And it's got an envelope with it. And I'm guessing I can figure out what I put in the envelope. An envelope with our carrier's address already pre-written. What do you put in that? What do you put? Well, no, no, no. It's got his name. It's got his address. And I think what he's looking for there is some. It's very subtle. Yes. I mean, no contact all year, but right around Christmas, a little note to say happy holidays with a self-addressed envelope. Yeah. You're kidding. You're kidding. I wonder if the newspaper is cool with that. I actually got him something. Do you want to know what it is? What? I got him a $25 gift certificate to a nursery. Wait. Now, it's only good for...
Growing product. You know, what is it, Skye? You saw my beautiful gift for... Well, yeah, it's funny you say that because I actually received an identical beautiful gift. Oh, how weird. That's what I got him too. In lieu of a Christmas bonus, they included a coupon to a local nursery, which is... Clear Channel, our company. It was nice. Tough economy. Which is good for $25 but does not include sales tax. Yes. Does not include sod. No, it doesn't. May not be used for any products that are on sale or in conjunction with any other coupons. Or any product with a letter A. E-I-O-Y. Or has two syllables in it. Yes. So, Merry Christmas. And have you guys heard about the big holiday party here? Oh, yeah. It's going to go off. Yeah, it's going to go off. A couple years ago, it was at this really fancy hotel in La Jolla. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a cool one. Oh, yeah. Yeah, for sure. So, where are we doing it this year? The lobby. Wait. Mike. Mike.
Hold on. That can't be true. No, that's the truth. That's the truth. Where people pick up their prizes. Yeah, that's the truth. And it's, I'm guessing it's potluck. And so you just bring whatever you. Black tie? Yeah, no. You bring whatever hunk of meat you want. You throw it on the grill. What does your last name, if your last name begins with an L, what do I bring? Do I bring the size? I bring salad. You bring salad. Salad of your choice. Sweet. Sweet ambrosia. That's right. Sweet ambrosia. 570-1053. Oh my gosh. Dudes. There's a dude on the line right now who's a mail carrier. Wait till he tells you what he gets from sending these things out. Because it kind of made me wonder. I wonder how much they get. Let's take guesses. When we come back, we'll have you take guesses and I'll tell you how much dude made. Wow.
Seth, keep that dude on the line. First of all, I'm going into mail carrying. I'm going to... You don't have to do it. You could just send out the things. For sure. Dude, yeah. It's Mikey. Yeah, you get a mixture. I had people that would actually send cash and checks, and the biggest tip I got was $150 from a guy who lives right on the coast. Dude.
And, you know, a lot of them would up their tips if they wanted, like, special stuff. Like, if they want it on their doorstep every day, if they want it, you know, for whatever reasons, then you'd get usually the higher one. I wonder how much the subscription itself is. It's like $17. Yeah. It's quite a, quite a, that's about a, I don't know, 100% tip. Oh, more like 4,000% tip. Yeah. Yeah. Very generous. Very. That is awesome. All right, brother. Hey, thank you for the call, dude. Absolutely, man. We're in the wrong business, you guys. You think? Hey, guys, my newspaper person put a card in mine, too. I've only been getting the paper for two weeks. Oh, well, you know. Now they put the paper on my porch since I got the card. That's P1 real quick. Can we put, like, fudge in the envelope and give them that? Oh, there you go. Seriously, man. That's interesting. You know? Let's see. Yeah. Mikey, is there anywhere I can buy previous year's best ofs of The Mikey Show? That's P1 Listening. Not that I know about. Bostonrod.org. Bostonrod.org.edu. Slash. N-E-T. Slash. O-R-G. Slash scam. Yes. In about 20 minutes, I'm going to tell you when the best of is going to go on sale. Tell you what it's called. Tell you when it's going to go on sale. What?
Yes. Sky just announced it, that there is breaking news right now. I mean, this information is just coming down right now. All right, but we want to begin this morning with that breaking news. The governor of Illinois arrested on corruption charges. NBC's Savannah Guthrie has the latest on this. Savannah, what can you tell us? It's Sky with straight hair. Yes, well, when she straightens her hair, we call her Savannah. Well, this governor has been under a cloud of suspicion for several years and has been investigated by federal authorities. And this morning was arrested. A criminal complaint filed with two charges in it accusing him. Yeah, that is a pretty outdated haircut. That's very 82. That's very 82. Conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and also solicitation of bribery. And in a nutshell, the most explosive allegation is that. ongoing criminal solicitation of bribery that means he is the one that like uh they didn't even come to him with the bribe he'd like sought it out sought it out well activity was done here and that blagoyevich was essentially was trying to sell the u.s senate seat he has the authority to appoint now that barack has been elected president the u.s attorney for this district wait wait wait explain
Explain, say what? So Obama's Senate seat is going to be open because he's now becoming our president. So they're basically saying that this guy was trying to sell the seat to like the highest bidder. So you know what that means? I could have been a senator. And we know what that probably means is that probably means that now they're going to want to know, well, who who was like actually willing to talk to you about it? Now they're going to be in trouble. Yeah. Fitzgerald, who a lot of people will recognize. Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald. We would recognize him. He's a cardinal. quote that says that Blagojevich essentially put a for sale sign on the naming of a United States senator, involved himself personally in pay to play schemes with the urgency of a salesman meeting his annual sales target. He will have a news conference later today. These charges were unsealed this morning. The governor placed under arrest. Matt? Savannah, the part that gets me is as part of this ongoing corruption investigation, the governor of Illinois actually commented about the possibility that federal officials might
tap his phone conversations. So if this is true, then a lot of this happened when he already knew or had a suspicion that they were listening to him. Well, I think that is one of the most remarkable things about this investigation, that it isn't like the usual indictment you see that harkens back to time, months, maybe even years before. The prosecutor here is alleging ongoing... He looks like every high school offensive line coach. I've ever seen in my entire... He looks like every P.E. teacher I've ever... That's a P.E. teacher haircut. Oh, yeah. He needs a whistle. Yeah, he needs a whistle. He needs a whistle. And a windbreaker. A windbreaker. The name of the high school's... You know, the name of the high school on a T-shirt tucked into bike shorts. Yeah. Those coaching shorts. Those coaching shorts. Yeah. Criminal activity. Things that are as recent as this... And that guy... Knock it off, Mr. Stevens. Yes. Yeah, that dude, that guy rides those players. I mean, he is hard on these guys, man. Yes. Get to class. Hey.
Hustle it up. I want that under 10 minutes. Hustle. Talking about essentially the selling of this U.S. Senate seat. And even yesterday, the governor was asked about the allegation, the speculation out there that he was being wiretapped. And so it's just remarkable if, as prosecutors allege, he was openly having these kinds of conversations when he very. It's so crazy. that his defense can almost be that he was kidding. That's how crazy it is. I know. I mean, the fact that he knew that they may be listening and he was still doing it. Federal prosecutors were looking very hard at him. All right, Savannah Guthrie with a breaking story this morning. Savannah, thank you very much. It's four minutes. You're welcome. Brutal. He couldn't say that, right? Like, he can't use that if this all goes to trial or whatever. He can't be like, oh, well, I knew you guys were tapping into my phone, so I said that as a joke. He can use that, but oh, man. Yeah, he can say that if he wants to. 570-1053 is our number. Our text is 35253. Love to hear from you. The fighter jet that crashed into a university city home yesterday, killing three, was on its way to Miramar to make an emergency landing after losing one engine. 48-year-old kicker Morton Anderson is finally calling it quits. He retires as the NFL's all-time leading scorer. Was he actively playing for a team? Not this year. He was...
Waiting, I guess, on the sidelines for somebody to sign him, and his knees are kind of jacked up, so nobody signed him, and he finally said, all right, that's enough. Oh, wow. Yeah. Let's see. So, in about five minutes, and Rob, why don't you send out a text blast to everybody? Blast it. At 7.30, exactly, I'm going to tell everybody when the Best Of CD will go on sale. Okay. Big news this morning, of course, was the plane crash yesterday here in San Diego. It was a fighter jet. And NBC 739 reporter Mari Payton is out in the field right now. She's out there at the location. She's been talking to people there and she's going to call into the Mikey show as soon as she gets my reply on her Blackberry. And so we'll be talking to her. And by the way, if anybody's listening and you saw what happened yesterday or you know somebody that was involved in what happened yesterday, maybe you're a service worker and you were involved in aiding with that.
We'd love to hear from you, 570-1053. Or you just know stuff about that type of plane or plane crash or, you know, what the ejection and what that experience is like. And you know anything about anything. Give us a call at 570-1053 or text us at 35253. Before we went to break, I said tomorrow is day without a gay. And so, Sky, what is day without a gay? Well, we all remember a day without a Mexican back when illegal immigration was a big issue. And, you know, a lot of people were upset about that. It's very similar. The gay community is very upset nationwide about the passage of Prop 8 here in California. So they've put together tomorrow a day without a gay where they're encouraging people to call into work gay, basically stay home for the day. these people to do is to give back to society, not just to spend the day on the couch watching soap operas, take the day off work to make a statement how important the gay community is to our nation. So no Broadway tomorrow, I'm guessing, right? As a fellow gay man. But then use that day off to dedicate themselves to public service or volunteering to charity or things like that. Sounds gay. So now I'm guessing
that the idea behind that would be that like we would kind of be affected by it, right? Right. Yeah. I mean, that's kind of just what our economy needs. Yeah. This is so confusing to me. What's up, Eddie? Well, you know, the day without a Mexican thing. I mean, you know, Mexicans, you know, do a lot of like, you know, like agricultural work and stuff like that. I think being gay, I mean, they do a variety of, jobs. And so I'm just kind of confused as to what they're trying to accomplish. Like, how will this affect anybody? Let's pause for a second. We'll pick this conversation up in a minute because Mari Payton is on the line. Hello, Mari. Good morning. How are you guys? I'm good. Where are you right now, Mari? We are on Cather Avenue and Huggins Street in the University City neighborhood, the one where the plane went down yesterday around noon. So we've been following the story pretty much all morning. We've been here since about four.
Wow. I'm guessing it's going to be a long day for you today. And I was actually thinking that yesterday. Were you already off work yesterday when this happened or did you work long hours yesterday or what went down for you? No, I actually had just left the station. I was buying a Christmas tree at Home Depot and my phone started going off and people all over the country were calling me, asking me about it. So, of course, I called into the station. I wanted to see what was going on. And then I actually went home because I knew it was going to be a long day. today and all morning we've been doing live shots for our NBC affiliates in LA and San Francisco. So it's a big deal. I mean, everyone's out here. Wow. Okay. So she's at pretty much where it happened yesterday. And Mari Payton is a reporter for NBC 739, a good friend of the Mikey show. So what is it like out there this morning, Mari? Well, I don't know if you guys know this, but really sad news this morning. They're looking for the body of one of the babies that were Actually, it's missing. Yesterday, he recovered the body of the grandmother, a mother, and another child, and they're still missing. We don't know if it's the one-year-old or the two-month-old at this time, but the Marine Corps is here, and we're actually waiting to hear from the PSO about the search, because they're going to resume, we assume, within the hour. But it is a mess out. There's debris everywhere, and they are telling residents.
in this area not to touch anything and if you find any debris in your yards around your house to actually call them because it is a mess. It's going to take a long time and a lot of the streets are blocked off and some people aren't even allowed into their homes and they have to have a police escort to come into the neighborhood. Wow. That is unreal. Eddie's got a question. Yeah, Mari, you know, we heard that some people out there had to wear like masks because of the toxic fumes out there. Is that something that you have to do or are you far enough away? You know, I know yesterday that our reporters had to wear the masks. I think it was initially just after the crash and the fire happened after they put out that fire, too, with the smoke and everything. That was the problem yesterday. But it has been kind of windy a little bit yesterday and as well as this morning. So it seems clear. I mean, we're not being told anything, of course. We always have those masks on standby, especially, you know, living in San Diego and with fire season. We have those just in case. But this morning, it seems like it's fine. So we haven't been told otherwise. NBC 739 reporter Mari Payton on the line. Mari, do you, as you're out there right now, is basically all of that, I'm guessing that smell of that, that fuel, that jet fuel, is it gone or is it still a little bit sort of lingering in the air or is it completely gone?
It is lingering just a little bit, but I can't imagine what it was like yesterday. I'm sure it was much worse. But, you know, it seems pretty clear. It is very calm here this morning, too. I know yesterday was very chaotic. I think this is starting to sink in with the residents. Some of the residents in the surrounding homes are here. They spent the night at their homes last night. They seem a little bit calmer. They're kind of taking it all in, of course, though. I mean, totally unexpected. And I don't think you can ever really get over the shock of something like this, but it is a little bit calmer today. Well, Mari, we appreciate you coming on, and you always give us great information. You're right there in it, and so you know what's going on, and we appreciate it. No problem. Have a good morning. Thank you, Mari. That's Mari Payton from NBC 739. And, you know, we're getting information kind of all the time, and so through the course of the show this morning, we might hear some more. And if we do, we'll let you know. Okay. And a little bit, and coming up here in just a little bit, I also have a clip of Mayor Sanders. So you know what. Mayor Sanders was saying about it. And you can always text us, 35253, or call us, 570-1053 is our phone number. All right, are you ready? Yes. It's time to let everybody know. Oh. Please. What is going on with the Best of CD? Oh. Please. Spuck it. Ladies and gentlemen, would you like to know when the Best of CD is going on sale? Yes. Drum roll, please. Ladies and gentlemen, the brand new 2008 Mikey Show Best of CD called...
Sweetberry wine. Delicious. Will go on pre-sale this morning. Slap me in the face and call me Sally. Wow. Do you really want us to do that? I don't think we should do that. I think it would hurt. Is it really? It is going on sale, ladies and gentlemen, this morning. Right now? Not right now. At 10 a.m. Oh, okay. At 10 a.m., if you go to Mikeyshow.com, you can get the best of CD, Sweet Berry Wine. Sweet Berry Wine. Ham. Ham. Ham. Ham. Doing a pre-sale on that best of CD this morning. And by the way, one of the tracks on Sweet Berry Wine is the Carol of the Hams. Ham, ham, ham, ham. Yes. Ham, ham, ham, ham, ham. It's not this. Just gorgeous. Just absolutely gorgeous. A track's gonna wear out on Sky City. I don't even know if CDs can do that. I know. What are you saying? Oh, it's so nice. This song is fantastic. I'd like a basket of ham. Would you like some honey glazed with that? Would you like some honey glazed with that? Oh, the range. The range. Gorgeous. I'm good. Do you think there are new listeners wondering why...
Ham. Oh, for sure. There's always new listeners, Mike. Why ham? And there's always people wondering, why ham? Okay, I think we're good. Ham and money. Rob? It's an unusual combination. Sky likes ham. Likes, likes. Don't we just be friends? Not too much to ask. Doors. Jeepers. Loves. Jeepers creepers. Seriously. Get ready for ham. I'm always ready. You know how most of us are like, yeah, ham, I like it. Every once in a while. Well, she really, really likes it a lot. Ham is just the beginning. That's right. She says it all the time. I do not. She does. I've heard you. I have too. She screams it in her sleep. Yeah, it's true. Sometimes when she has a ham mare, she'll wake up. There's no such thing, Mike. Ham mare? Yeah, you figured me out. This text message says, Mikey Carroll of the hams is my ringtone and it makes it hard to answer my phone because I sing along every time it rings. Get ready for ham. P188 Mercedes. How do we fit ham in a stocking?
That is a great question. Or is it like the full, like, I don't get it. Yeah, how do you do it, Skye? Eddie, I'll tell you what you do. What's that? You just have a ham stocking. Oh, I didn't even think of that. That's right. You just take a ham, you hollow it out, and then you put your little, you know, knickknacks in there. It's like you're there. That's right. Yeah, and you can eat it. That's right. You can honey glaze it up. Stupid. When Santa comes... Shut up. Let me ask you a question. This is legitimate. It's obviously not legitimate. I will bet money it is not legitimate. It is a legitimate question. When Santa comes on Christmas Eve, do you leave him a plate of ham? Oh, wow. That's a good question. Why are you doing this? Milk and hammies. Why are you being like this? Do you leave behind milk and hammies? Right. Do you do that? Not ham scum. Yes. Eddie, I can answer your question. Yes, she does. And generally what happens is he leaves a little card with a question mark on it. Oh, really? I'm actually surprised that you spare. I don't think she leaves anything out. Or maybe she sneaks out. She tries. She wants to do the thing where Boo walks down and there's a bite taken out of it. But then she gobbles it all up. Yeah, she gobbles it all up.
Ham flavor all the way from tip to prawn. Well, that song, Carol the Hams, is on our Best FCD, which goes on sale at 10 a.m. On? On MikeyShow.com. All of the proceeds, 100% of the proceeds, are going to Rady's Children's Hospital. Love it. We just want to help them out. So buy it. It's 10 bucks. 10 bucks. It's $10. That's a steal. Yeah, it's a steal. It's got some great stuff on it. Ash, you got a question? What does pre-sale mean? Pre-sale means that when you buy it, it's not going to be in your hand right then. We're not going to ship it out right away because we don't have it yet. It's being produced. You're just pre-buying it. Yes, you are pre-buying it. Or pre-sale. Yes, that is correct. Thank you, Mom. Thank you.

You're like those girls looking for the Navy guys at the bar, you know what I mean? Check this out. Well, I figured I'd bring my tuxedo that I got at home, and I just hang out outside the bar. You have a tuxedo at home? Yeah, of course. My grandmother gave me my grandmother. Of course. Of course, Mike. Who doesn't? Who doesn't have their grandpa's tuxedo? Last time I went back, my grandmother gave me my grandfather's tuxedo. What year? What are we talking? Oh, man. When was it brand new?
The roaring 20s. The late 50s, early 60s. I got a picture of him in it. He used to be a drummer in Vegas. What color is it? What color? Yeah, it's all black. All black. Oh, it's slick, man. Of course. Slick. Was he with Glenn Miller at the time? Yes. Actually, Benny Goodman. Oh, yes. So he's going to put that on. And then? Be a, what are they called? A bellboy. No, no, no. No. Valet. A valet. Get some tips. Park the cars. So he can meet the baseball people. Because, you know, most valets wear tuxedos. Yes. Yes. That's right. More tips. Yeah. And when most people, when they come to Vegas from places like Boston and whatever, they bring their cars. Yeah. Good point. They wouldn't rent a car at all. They probably wouldn't, Rob. No, they'd probably have a car. You don't think they? No, they'd probably have somebody driving them around. I bet they'd rent a car, man. Ladies and gentlemen, Hall of Famer P1 Spaceboy is on the line. Space Boy, what's up? Hey, man. That's such a great name for a best-of CD. Sweetberry Wine. Goes right off the tongue. That's right. I don't know if I'd be able to choose between Sweetberry Wine or Peanut nor myself. That's right. Sweetberry Wine. On the cover, we are all in a big wine vat, you know, like for smashing grapes. And we are all dressed as Italian grape stompers.
And it's an Italian motif. And we're all holding our wine glasses. We're making sweet berry wine. We're making sweet berry wine. That's right. That sounds so great. It's got some of your favorite bits on it. Michael Phelps is on there. Oh, Michael Phelps? Oh, Michael Phelps. The best. That is on there. We've got our little conversation that we had about the Bonnaroo Festival. It's on there. Do you remember that, Space Boy? Yes. That's on there. Of course, we've got a little tough love with Eddie on there. Oh, hi. Welcome. There's a little Dr. Phil on there. There's one of the very first calls ever from Barbara is on there. Awesome. And so this is a crazy black woman. That's right. She is one of the craziest black ladies alive. She really is into the cause of African-American women. She was white the first 10 times she called, remember? Did she clarify that, though? I don't know that she ever said that she was walking. As far as I know, she's a black woman. That sounds like propaganda, Sky. That's right. Why do you want to take that away from her, Sky? I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone. She got her hair's good, and then a lot changed. It's very typical, just like the man to keep a black woman down. Why such bigotry? Why such bigotry?
Why? It's terrible. Come on. Thank you, Space Boy. We appreciate the phone call. Will there be any Mikey Stone group signings that you want to look forward to? Yeah, when we have the CD in hand, we will be doing some signings. Hello. Sounds great. Where you can come out and we'll actually, yeah, we'll autograph the CD for you. There you go. Thank you, Space Boy. We appreciate it. Let's see. Mikey, legitimate question for Sky. Oh, good. I refuse. Finally. Did you begin your career on a ham radio? That is a legitimate question. That makes sense. Yeah. You know what I mean? You guys have heard of ham radio. My name's Sky. What's happening? That sounds like a ham radio. I really don't know that she's in the mood for this. I know you'll like them. I love them. I'm confused. I don't think she is either. But it was a legitimate question. I'm just trying to say that.
I don't know. We're not allowed to ask questions anymore. I guess not. Let's see. Way up here in Forks, Washington, and I'm totally deprived of The Mikey Show due to a recent lack of podcasts. What the heck, guys? That's P1 Lissaki. Do we have a lack of podcasts? What's that about? No, we don't. They're up there. They're probably not looking in the right place. I was listening to them yesterday. They're typing in The Mikey Show. They're there. Maybe when we were on vacation that week, maybe that's what they're probably talking about. Yeah, but then we would already have another whole week's worth. Check again. What's going on, man? Freak out, everyone. Just freak out. This one says, pretty sure I can't wait to buy the fourth Best of CD. You guys are the bomb. That's P1 Nikita. Mikey.
Skye still has a little honey glaze in her hair from standing under the ham toe. She hung in her doorway. That's P1 Ham Bomb. You hang ham from your doorway? That's right. Why would you do that? No, I don't. They had a deli. But they just said. Ham! Let's see. People are writing in and calling in right now about the jet crash yesterday. Mikey, I heard a couple of callers. sort of Monday morning quarterbacking the pilot, asking why he didn't try to crash in some different area. Just wanted to point out that there's a possibility he didn't have control of the aircraft. We don't know the extent of the problems with the plane. He may have only had limited maneuverability. Also, I've heard that those planes do not do well at low speeds. Just something to think about. It's a very good point. P1 Michael, you there? Yes, I am. How are you? Good, Michael. What were you calling to say? Yeah, I know that I was driving my son to school, and I know there's fatalities and stuff involved. But yeah, I was an 18 pilot. I was an 18 pilot for eight years. I was a pilot at Aviator for actually 14. I'm really familiar with the aircraft. Are they, you know, when they lose an engine, are they still pretty easy to maneuver after they've lost an engine? I only want to, you know, because there's fatalities involved, and I'll speculate on that.
Yes, that's actually correct. You can still maintain the aircraft with one engine. What I'm thinking happened, and this is just pure speculation, because they're going to do a thorough, thorough investigation. It's called a timeline, and they'll march it out every element that happened. And what I think happened was the failure of the one engine caused something else to happen in the other engine, because the last thing a pilot ever wants to do is do a punch-out, we call it. You know, I was saying earlier, I wonder if having to run on just one engine overtaxed that one engine. Well, there's a lot going on at that point. We call it, first and foremost, you aviate. Aviation is where he's looking. Second is navigation, what he's doing. And they're picking a path of least resistance to get that aircraft to the ground.
Since he was taken off from the carrier, yeah, Miramar would have been the best shot anywhere, actually, where he could get it down. And third and foremost is communication. So there's a lot going on in your mind at that point. You know what I mean? I mean, he's calculating everything, fuel, weight. And if he lost altitude that quickly, something definitely went wrong. Because I'm thinking something caused it to lose that altitude. And he knew it. You know what I mean? He had it going on. There was a lot going on in his head. And is he, I'm guessing he's taken orders from some command post telling him what to do. Correct. At that point, there's a timeline. So they're finding out what's going on. And then the carrier, which we call combat systems, combat information center is what it's called. They're calling the shots. He's relaying information. They're calling the shots. He's relaying information. But at that same point. It's all about aviation at that point. There's a lot going on in his mind. He's doing a process of elimination. What's going on here? Boom. What's going on here? Boom. What's going on here? Boom. That's P1 Michael. Michael, you are a former F-18 pilot. I appreciate you calling in, man. Right on, dude. Thank you. We got a clip of Mayor Sanders. Cut 28.
Our emergency crews have been working closely with the military. The military has jurisdiction over the crash site. My heart goes out to the family, the victims, and to the community of University City. That was from his press conference that he gave yesterday. And so, yeah, NBC 739 reporter Maury Payton called in earlier and was telling us what she was seeing out there. She said he could still kind of, that smell of that jet fuel is still kind of there. And so, you know, they're just kind of going through it and trying to sort everything out. 570-1053 is the number. Our text, 35253. When we come back, you got robbed. Authorities plan to resume their search this morning for a missing child in the remains of the university city home that was destroyed yesterday when a fighter plane crashed into it. Minnesota Timberwolves fire their head coach, Randy Whitman. Kevin McHale is named as the new head coach. What? Former Celtic. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. It's time to do something that we really love around here called Undecent Society. We send Rob out as our man on the street. And we have him ask questions to people that he meets out on the street. The question yesterday was, what do you think of the OJ verdict? And so...
Rob, nobody thought that you were talking about the old verdict, right? Oh, no, no. Everyone was very up to date. Okay, so let's get into this. Let's hear you talking to these people out there. What kind of a day was it? It was all right. We got kicked out of Starbucks, or not out of Starbucks, but we were like by this Starbucks, kind of just hanging out, you know, talking to people that were coming and going. One of the guys at work that came out and he was like, you can't film over here. And we're on the sidewalk, though. Like, we're not in your store. We're not near. So that kind of set the tone because that happened right away. But after, it was pretty cool. All right. Let's take a listen. What's up? This is Boston Rob. I'm out here. I ran into a fellow Bostonian. We actually graduated from the same high school. What up, Marion? Hi. What's up? What's up? Yeah. So anyways, I wanted to ask. Wow. Is that for real? Dude, the first guy I talked to, I was just like, hey, man, I work for Rock 153, the Mikey show. I want to see if I can interview you real quick. He's like, are you from Boston? You're like, yeah. How'd you know? He's like, because it's on your throat. It's tattooed on your throat. It says it right there. I can see it. It's tattooed on your throat.
On your neck. No, and he started talking. I was like, are you from back east? Are you from Mass? And he's like, yeah. I was like, ah, me too, you know. We started going off about where we were from, and he graduated from my high school. He was like five years older than me, though. Yeah. Wow. Let's listen. Kim, what do you think about the OJ verdict? I don't know, man. I think OJ finally got some karma, came to him, and he got what he deserved. I do not hear any Boston accent whatsoever. There's certain words that he says that I can pick out. Wow. Very subtle. Sat and wades. Sat and wades. I was down there in Vegas when it happened. Luckily not in that same room. You were in Vegas? Were you at the same hotel? I don't think so. I was at the New York, New York. Hey, we went to the same high school. Did you rob him too? You can tell me. Yeah. You can confess. I saw on the news all of a sudden OJ's getting busted in Vegas. I happen to be there, but... I think he got what he deserves. Were you in Vegas to sell some memorabilia? Be honest. I wasn't. I wasn't. I'm not a big sports memorabilia guy. Right there when he says sports. Yeah. When he goes, I'm not a big sports memor. It's the way he said sports. I half expected him to say, okay, between me and you. Yeah. I got to ask you, what do you think is more satisfying? OJ finally getting locked up or the Jonas Brothers fitting into size 24 jeans? Don't believe it's their fault.
We like the Jones brothers quite a bit, but I got to say OJ getting locked up. Yeah, I don't know. That was a tough one. Yeah, because they're both very satisfying. So satisfying. And you got robbed at the end. You've been robbed. Thank you. All right, I'm out here just asking people what they think about the OJ verdict. What are your feelings on the recent OJ verdict? Honestly, I'm just glad he's getting what was coming to him. You think he deserved this? It's kind of just this has been done? What do you think is more satisfying? That O.J. Simpson is getting locked up and just this has been served? Or the fact that K-Fed has won father of the year? Well timed. What happened there, Ron? Thank you. Sounds like, yeah. Hang on. What's my line again? What does this word say, ma'am? Father? Can you turn the cue card there? Yeah, you got it upside down. The cue card's upside down. Can you just turn that thing? Honestly, I met Brittany once and she seemed like a good mom. Those kids need a good dad. Wow. It seems like he's a good dad. There you go. What about the other two kids that he left in his other relationship? No.
One of the two kids. He said, you got robbed. There it is. You got robbed. You've been robbed. That's what she said. That's what he said. Three, two, one. Go me. I'm here with a local pedestrian. What do you think of the OJ verdict? Got what he deserved. Karma, baby. So you think it's karma? Everybody has started off by saying he got what he deserved. Everybody. And karma. So you're pretty glad he's locked up? Oh yeah, I'm real glad. Who's going to look for the real killer now? That's sad. A real killer's just going to... Yeah, now that OJ's not out there looking for him. Which is what he's claiming he's been doing this whole time. Now what? Now what? And keep playing golf. Because that's where he is. OJ keeps having to hit the back nine so he can try to find the real killer. That is true. Apparently, there's been blog sites or something like that that the real killer is a big fan of gold. Or something like that. Something like that. That's what I read. Somewhere. Now you go. Thank you. You got robbed. You got robbed. What a local pedestrian. I'm telling you, I have had more people say to me, now you go. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
That's his signature line. Seriously. I think it's better than you got robbed is now you go. Now you go. So I'm out here with Nicole. What do you think of the OJ verdict? I think what goes wrong comes around. So you think he deserved it? Yep. Pretty good that he got locked up? Yeah. What do you think is more satisfying? That OJ finally got locked up? Got brought to justice? Or Sky after? Easter dinner. Sky? Wow. I'm shocked you don't know what sky is. Well, where do I begin? The only woman in San Diego to own her own helicopter. San Antonio you've ever met. Basically, we put it like this. If people were made out of ham, she would eat all of those people. She would be Godzilla and just gobble us all up. Thankfully, we were not made out of ham. And we're all safe. But yeah, she's someone who loves him. I could go on for hours. She could go on for hours about her love with him. But we'll just say that. Thank you very much. You're welcome. You've been robbed. You've been robbed. Really? She didn't know who you were, Scott. He had to explain. He was trying to explain. What do you want from him? I'm watching the video right now. This guy is a clown. This guy is a clown. And once you make that turn on the northbound 5, slow traffic here up through Mission Bay. And the 805 northbound still staying tough out of Chula Vista up through National City, North Park.
and then crawls from the 163 out of Kearney Mesa over to 52. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105 for 8. He's not joking. KC. San Diego's Rock. Thanks for picking the Mikey Show featuring Mikey. The governor of Illinois was arrested this morning on federal corruption charges for allegedly trying to sell Obama's vacant Senate. The Mets are reportedly closing in on a three-year deal for reliever Francisco Rodriguez. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I don't know, man. Over the last three, four years, Boston Rob has given different haircuts to try multiple times. He tried dreads. Didn't work. No. I mean, dude, he tried the dreads for a long time. How long? Takes a long time. Two, three years. Never did work out. No, it worked out great. No, actually it didn't. No, actually it did. So what we did was we had a bet and he lost the bet to Eddie. It was a home run derby and he had to cut his hair. And he chopped off those dreads. This time he's been very adamant that it's going to grow out. In fact, I cannot tell you how much back in the office. He takes razzing all the time back in the office.
Constant razzing about cutting that hair. And it doesn't matter how much he's humiliated. He doesn't give. Look at that thing. I'm growing it out again. For what? Take that hat off. Because I want hair. Sick of being bald. It's just so thick. He's got really thick hair. Can you style it? Can't you do something? No, because I'm growing it out once it grows up. Until it's long. Are you trying to look like Gunnar Nelson? A little bit. Awesome. Oh, yes. Everybody born after like 19 or before 1980 gets that joke. That's fantastic. That is fantastic. Dude, you're going to be Gunnar Nelson. That's so stupid. Well, here's the thing. This guy called in the other day. P1 calls in and he says, why don't you have, you know, why don't you raise some money for Rob? Because he's dirt poor, man. Oh, jeez. We're going to Las Vegas, and he honestly can't go to dinner with us. I can't do anything. I have $19 in my account until the 15th. Oh, my. And I was joking with him, and I'm like, oh, well, then I'll see you at the food court. And he's like, why? Is it free at the food court? That's fantastic. Oh, boy. So, you know, yeah.
This guy had to explain to him, no, the food court is not free. Well, she said that like, oh, you know, you can get meals or whatever at the food courts. Well, I mean, it's like the cheapest thing that you can buy. It's not a soup kitchen. Well, I don't know. You get free drinks in Vegas, right, when you're gambling. So I figured if you're there, you get free food. Honestly, honestly, when we go do stuff like this, it's always somebody kind of kicking in for Rob. Oh, has to. And so what we said is, okay, let's do this thing. Let's have P1s come down here and kick into a little kitty. Yeah. And we'll see if we can raise some money for Boston Rob. And he has to cut his hair. Now, we're going to give half of the money no matter what to Rady's Children's Hospital. Cool. And so that means hopefully we can raise a pretty significant amount. Yeah. I say that if we can raise like... Why don't we say if we can raise at least a thousand bucks. Yeah, there's got to be at least numbers.
If we can raise at least... Oh, don't you start putting stuff on it, Rob. You don't get to save. He's going to have more money in Vegas to spend than me. If you get 50 bucks... I've been growing my hair out since June. Just because you guys, the old guys, can't grow their hair anymore. That's why you got to take it out on me. Listen to these lovely locks. I just bought a brand new... Last paycheck, I just brought a whole bottle of conditioner for 89 cents. Now it's going to go to waste. That's very no on eight. You are ridiculous. I've never had conditioner before. It's awesome. You should feel my head. He sent me a text. I'm reading from the text. He says, I was going to say this in the meeting tomorrow, but I won't be there. I'm cool with shaving my head, but I will not shave any New York crap in it. Yankee stuff. He didn't want to put in Yankee stuff. So I wrote him back and I said... Oh, I'm sorry I got loyalty. I wrote him back and called him a wuss. What a bad quality. And he says, if it is 100%, he says, fine, if it is 100% that we can raise some real money here, I will consider the NY thing. Oh, look at this guy. Where's your loyalty now? Looks like you got a price, huh, buddy?
Hey, if it pays for me to go see Jason Veritek, then I'm in. What does that even mean? He thinks he's going to be there hanging out in Vegas. He really thinks that he's going to meet Jason Veritek. Baseball winter meetings are in Vegas this week. You know who's there? The presidents of the teams. Hey, some players are going to be there. I already read Frank Thomas is out in Vegas. Thomas? Thomas? The Big Hurt, man. Come on. Thomas? How are you not excited? We're going to run into players. It's going to be awesome. We'll high-five them. We'll call A-Rod the material girl. This is going to be the best weekend ever. He's been thinking of that all week. No, you guys gave that to me. It's the best, man. Listen. He is freaking out. Thursday morning at 7 o'clock, we're going to do a drive-thru here. You can come through. You can donate. And think of it as a two-part charity. Yes. Boston Rob and Rady's Children's Hospital. Hopefully we raise a little bit of money. Half of it will go to Rady's Children's Hospital. The other half of it will go to Starving Boy over here. What's the bigger charity case? So that he can actually eat. Now, if we raise $1,000, we'll shave a Yankees thing into his head. Please come and give. Please come and give. Dude, please.
Come and give so we can shave Yankees into his head. I want to so bad, Eddie. I'm not kidding. I really want. The last time you guys made me do. Well, I forget what I lost, but I had to dress up as a Yankees cheerleader. Remember that? Yes. Yeah, that was real fun. My best friend, Jay Bird, back at home. Oh, not Jay Bird. Not Jay Bird. Jay Bird's a man. And hopefully you guys meet him one day. He used that picture. Well, all the pictures of me and a Yankees. Yeah. What are you enjoying, Sky? Yeah. I can't wait. Or he used all those pics as his MySpace main photo. That's so awesome. Made sure he posted them again. I should do that. I did not. That's a good idea. Stop hearing about that for. Rob, I am not kidding you. I'm not kidding you that if we raise $1,000 and we shave the Yankee symbol into your hat, those pictures will live in infamy on the Mikey Show website till the end of time. Yeah. Till the end of time. Now, what are the rules regarding this haircut? How long does he have to keep said haircut? Question, Scott.
Well, I'm thinking how I would think. I'd be like, sure, go for it, bro. And then I'd get home. At least for the Vegas trip. Yeah, at least through Vegas. Minimum. So that if he does run into Theo, if he do run into Theo Epstein, he'll be like, oh, get that New York guy out of here. I don't want to be friends with him. Yeah, totally. I cannot impress this upon the listeners enough. He's so... Weenie about it. Punk. Okay. He really didn't want to do it. Every time we brought it up, he goes, anything but that. I'll do anything. I'll eat the stuff. Make me eat stuff. Make me eat stuff. Dude, I want you to cut your hair. No, no, dude. I'm not kidding. I'm not going to do that. I have an instant message from him right now that says I have an instant message from him right now that I didn't respond to, by the way. That I didn't respond to, and then he wrote me. I asked him about something, and he wrote me back and answered it and said, by the way, did you see my IM above? Yeah, because you didn't respond to me. We'll talk it out right now. What is it, Mike? It says, after the show, can we rap real quick about me cutting my hair? Oh, Mike. What is this? Wait, we'll rap about it right now, Rob. What is this? Dude, he's such a weenie when it comes to it. Like his hair, his hair. Like, I'll do whatever, dude. I'll eat something. I press this locks.
Goldilocks over here. It's where my power lies. Yeah. Okay. Power for what? Don't touch it. Oh, it's so awesome. So, yeah. He gets real freaked out about his hair. My hair. Don't touch my hair. It's like weird as something. Sandy. I said do anything, but don't touch my hair. Rob. So, Thursday, we'll do this. Mikey Show. Hello. Now you go. Hey, do we have to raise $1,000 for Boston Rob or $1,000 total so he gets $500? They got to raise $1,000. Total. $1,000 total. Yeah, $1,000 total. No, no, no. $1,000 total. We still got that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man. $1,000, we should be able to do that easy. Mikey Show.
Hey, what's up, Mikey? It's P1 Daniel-san. What's up, Daniel-san? Hey, dude. As far as B-Rob's haircut goes, you guys should make him cut a mullet on his head and then make him lose his driver's license so he has to go to the DMV. I love all of this. You are a genius. I'm going to be stuck with it. There is no humor in Rob's face right now. None. I think that was hilarious. What's up, buddy? Aw, little guy. Are all those jokes you made about me and Mikey's hair? Yeah. Okay. Oh, there it is. Oh, I love it. Thursday can't come soon enough. Mikey Show. Yeah, that's... Mikey Show. Hey, Mikey, this is P1 Brandon. How you doing? Good, man. What's up? Well, I have an idea about how long B-Roll could keep the Yankees shaved into the back of his head. Okay. I'm thinking we should do something like the amount of money we raise depends on how long he keeps it in his hair. Hey, Rob, can you go for that? Oh, look at his face. He's just so... When it comes to his hair, he's really, really, really, like, gets upset. He doesn't want to do it. Oh, because I've never been... The second my hair grows out, you guys are like, oh, let's do something to cut it. And I'm like... The second it grows out. The second it grows out. Take a picture of how it looks right now. Yeah.
Get in here. Come in here. It looks so ridiculous. It always does. Because when he started growing it out and he would actually style it, we were nothing but compliments. We were telling him how great it looked. That's totally against what he's saying. He just gave up. He just gave up on it. And that's when we started growing it out. I'm trying to grow it out. Really make it poof. It's beautiful. I love it. It's quite a helmet you got there. It really is. I love it. What are you going to do when it's grown out? Stand right here. Oh, I'm going to be sad. Let it go out. That looks awesome. You can't just have long hair. You're acting like an idiot right now. I'm an idiot? You're calling me an idiot? Look at you, bro. Turn to the side. Holy cow. That is too much. I mean... You have a home, you have a shower. I know it, right? No, don't do it, Skye. Wait, wait, wait, Skye, let me take a picture. Oh, that's disgusting. It's very oily. It's silky. Yes, it's very smooth.
We'll put these pictures on the website so people can actually see what we're talking about. It's so filthy. But we're going to shave it. So what, here in like the back parking lot or what? Yeah. Okay. Our usual spot. Our usual. The grassy knoll. Yeah. And we want people to come and donate to the Rob Cut His Hair Fund. The money knoll. It's right by the grassy knoll in the back. I'm going to sit. I'll be back here. Please stop. Fantastic. You guys hear that there was a... Do we have to break now? Yeah. Man, I got some huge stuff. I got to tell you, there's an unclaimed lottery ticket in San Diego County. There is an unclaimed lottery ticket right here in San Diego County. I haven't cashed in my lottery tickets in months. Oh, man. And not only that, but also the city of IB.
is really upset, and I'll tell you why when we come back. The Mikey Show continues. Thank you for being big enough to laugh at yourself this morning. Reason number nine to switch to GEICO. She weighs 200 pounds? That's what she says. For real? Come on. She's been getting up there. Really? In the January edition of O Magazine, she talks about how her diet has gone down the tubes. What was her thing before? Just healthy eating and exercise? I know she did that detox diet, which was just like...
A cleanse, yeah. And she just did the full month or whatever, however long it was. I know she did that, but that was only like a month or so. I mean, doesn't she bring on like nutritionists and all these different people and tell people how they should live? For sure. She's kind of a guru. 200 pounds? Yeah, but she's always... Oprah's always struggled with her weight. Don't defend her. Don't defend that woman. It's not easy. It's not easy. New edition of O Magazine where she talks about this. She says her goal is no longer to be thin. She wants to be strong and healthy. 200 pounds is not healthy, right? I don't know how tall she is, but I don't think she's... 10 feet tall. Not 10 feet tall. Well, Eddie, in fairness to Oprah, I think she's 9'6". Oh, well then, you know, maybe drop a couple pounds. Yeah, yeah. I mean, but she's 9'6". It's not easy. It's not easy. Well, there it is. Little changes, little changes. All right, so before we... She'll be fine. Yeah. Stop the...
Well, she loves. I'm glad you said that. Thank you for saying that. It's a struggle for every woman. It's a struggle for every person. I understand that. But I'm not on the air, you know, throwing advice at people and telling people how to live and all that stuff like she does. Yeah, but she does it to try to help other people and obviously she can't be perfect all the time. Well, you know what? She's trying. Wow. Please. Ashley loves her. She has personal cooks, personal trainers. Seriously. I mean, how can you not? Everybody slips sometimes, okay? Slipped a hundred pounds? What? Stop on ya. I wish I had a personal chef. By a mirror. I'm in the best shape of your life. Personal chef and personal trainers. Rob, what would you want tonight for dinner? What would you tell your personal chef? Teriyaki chicken, man. Yeah? Rice and teriyaki chicken. Teriyaki chicken. No rice? Nah. Just chicken with the glaze on it?
Yeah, I'm real simple, dude. Seriously? What's the point of having a chef? No kidding. Because I suck at making that. Oh, you do? Yeah, I'm like, I can never figure out when to put the teriyaki sauce in to make it. You marinate it? Nah, because the chicken's frozen. It's all starting to make sense. It's cheaper if you buy it by the back. Well, yeah, but you can defrost it. You can defrost it, bro. Oh, that takes time. You put it in the fridge the night before. What do you do? Just throw a frozen hunk of chicken in a frying pan? Yeah, it says it on the bag straight from the... Yeah, dude, what do you think? Will I look like Louie Anderson over here? What kind of money do you think I have? What am I, Wolfgang Puck? I got hot pockets in a bag of frozen chicken. Oh, wow. Help this boy. Please donate. Yes. Donate. Donate. Thursday. Donate. He's not kidding. Listen to him. What? Nothing wrong with hot pockets and chicken. He has. Well, yesterday I got pizza because I got to take that pizza home. So I had something different. He has a bag in his freezer that says chicken nuggets. No. It's just boneless chicken pieces. Yeah. Chicken leftovers.
Chicken ruggits. You're doing anything. You can have honey mustard chicken one night. So gross. Stop. Just pour honey and mustard on it. Did you buy a lottery ticket anytime? Oh, man. I don't know when. Recently? I know it wasn't recently. It had to be like a month ago. There's an unclaimed ticket, right? Yeah, this unclaimed ticket is from the November 7th Mega Millions drawing. November 7th? A couple days ago. A month ago. Oh, November 7th. That's a month. Yeah, that's why it's making the news because it's already been a month and it's gone unclaimed. And it was a Mega Millions lottery ticket. It was purchased at a 7-Eleven store in Chula Vista on Hilltop Drive. The ticket is worth $168,000. Oh, my. Yeah. Wow. Now, if you ever have a winning ticket, you should know you only have six months to claim your prize. I didn't know that. Oh, really? I didn't know that. I didn't know that. I thought it would go forever. I didn't know that. Wow. Yeah. So, somebody out there's got it. Check your tickets. Yeah.
And then I said that IB apparently is very upset right now. Oh, yeah. This was like on the front of the UT yesterday. This is crazy. So, you know that new Fox reality show? What's it called? Secret Millionaire. Oh, yeah. Yes, I do. Yeah. Of course, Sean does. Sean, of course, knows it. Ashley hates it? I don't like it at all. Why? It's such a good thing. It's very poorly done. What is it? So this millionaire couple, they go and they just try and blend in with society, like they're minimum wage workers, working with people. And then they try and find people who they feel are very deserving. And then they give them a good sum of money. It's very heartwarming. Yeah. So their first, their debut episode the other week happened in IB in Imperial Beach. Seth. Yeah, Zeth, that's your stomping grounds, dude. How much did you get, Zeth? Nothing, guys. Also, residents of IB are upset because they say that the show made the city of IB look like basically a slum, one of the most impoverished and dangerous towns in America. They threw out a statistic saying that 250,000 people in IB live below the poverty line.
IB only has a population of 28,000 people. It could be a little rough around the edges, right? Doesn't even make sense. Yeah, that's accurate. Depends on where you go. Yeah, so, you know. So there is a nice part of IB? Yeah, well, nicer. Okay. Fair enough. Yeah, but they made it look like a real slum, and, you know, it now has become a news story, and Fox has not returned calls to comment on the story. Oh, look at that. That's a call? Yeah. Get it. Hello? Wait a second. Were you playing that on your 20s like Mikey says?
Hey, it's cool, guys. Hey, what's up, that rock? Hey, can I ask you a question now? Of course you can, man. Hey, do you think it was a good idea that we didn't run this past Shauna before doing it? Oh, interesting point. I forgot about her. Anyway. So, Tim. Hey, doesn't it. Make you mad to see that those reality show jerks are judging us like they're all better than us and everything. Yeah, I know, man. I'd like to see that Ty Pennington try to remodel my house while dunking a drive-by and selling out some weed. Yeah, man. Me too, dude. Hey, IB's definitely not a slum. I mean, in fact, it's one of the nicer places to store meth. That's cool. That's what I'm saying, man. I was in IB the other day. Yeah? Yeah. Even I got scared. Oh, no. Wow. Secret millionaire. Give me some money. I'm poor. Yeah, man. I have a good heart. Yeah. I need weed. Wait. I think that's what it's for. Put my butter up. So it feels so nice to hear your voice, man. I know, Tyrone. I really missed you, dude. Yeah. Anyway.
IB is a fun place, man. When I was a kid, my mom used to let me go on drive-by as long as I had the safety on. Oh, yeah? That's pretty cool. You know, IB's not all that bad. Yeah, you know, it's actually, it's not that bad in the daytime, you know, if you're a cop or a soldier carrying an M-16. It's not that bad. You know, you know, Tortilla, there is one place scarier than I'd be. The rec yard at San Quentin. Pretty crazy. There's one place scarier than I'd be. Man, I've been getting some real good weed from IB for like five months. Really? It's real shitty though. I've never seen the guy I buy it from. Really? I only talk to him on the phone.
Oh, yeah? He says his name's Charlie Brown. Oh, really? That's Jeff. Why? Does he rumble a lot? Yeah, does he rumble a lot? Yeah, does he rumble a lot? Yeah. And he flies too, right? Yeah. On the wall? It's weird. It's definitely Jeff. Really? What a trick. You know, man, can we talk about this whole lottery thing for a second? Sure. All right. Let's talk about the lottery thing. A lot of money. I just want to make an offer over here if I can. I'm going to pay a hefty sum of $100 for that lottery ticket. It'll be in cash. But it's worth $160,000. No lottery shenanigans here. You won't even be taxed on it. And if that deal sounds tantalizing, please give me a call on my baby's mama's cell phone. Offer won't last. Call today. Hey, Tyrone. Yes, hotel. You know what the first thing I would do with the money? What, man? Buy more lotto tickets. That's a good idea. You know what I'm saying, Rob? That is genius, man. That's what I was going to do. Dude. What a great idea, man. Should have been me that won the lottery jackpot, man. Oh, yeah? Yeah, look, see, the deal is...
I was standing out in front of the liquor store, and all I had was $1.59. And it was either going to be a lottery ticket or a 40 at King Cobra, right? $1.49, really? Well, let's just say 15 minutes after that, I knew I made the right choice. Hey, I'm wrong. Yeah, Portilla. My cousin Chewy, yeah, he hit the jackpot. Really? Yeah. He's dating a cougar that's trying to get back at a rich ex-husband. Really? That's pretty awesome. Different kind of. Different kind of stuff. Right? Okay. Don't get mad at me. You know, man, we wouldn't be in this financial crisis if me and Tortilla were president, man. We'd just buy two million bucks worth of lottery tickets, and right there, we'd be a winner, man. Isn't that right, Boston Rob? You know it, man. Yeah, that's right. Cut your hair, bro. That's kind of growing afro. You ain't, Tyrone. It ain't working, dude.
My girlfriend Juanita told me that if I win the lottery, we can have a helicopter like Sky and everything. But dude, wouldn't you have to win like two or three lotteries for that kind of thing, man? Nobody, man. I don't have a helicopter. That's rich, dude. Tortilla, back off. Stop it. Stop it. I dropped my winning lottery ticket and it was for the exact same game Sky's talking about, man. So, whoever finds it should turn it back into me. It's mine. And I just wanted to say I also dropped $20. And so if anybody finds $20 somewhere, just know that belongs to your good friend Tyrone. I dropped a bag of weed. What are you talking about, man? J-Lo's phone number. What else did I drop? My dignity. There it is. Okay. Hey, Tortilla. Yeah, what's up? We've been boring, man. Turns out, you do. You explain to the officer that the lobster costume you're wearing is a tribute to Rubio's for braving the cold blue waters off the coast of Chile to bring back succulent langostino lobster. Unfazed, the officer asks, why were you swerving? Tough to grip the wheel with claws, sir. He clicks his pen menacingly and starts writing. You continue to plead your case. Honestly, who can resist the bold Beach Max flavor of a Rubio's burrito filled with decadent Langostino lobster, freshly made guacamole, and a creamy chipotle picante sauce? As you take the ticket with your pincher, the officer says, Son, it's a good thing Lobster Beach Max isn't expensive, because you're going to need a lot of fancy lawyering to get out of this one. Langostino lobster is back in tacos, burritos, and now a two-street taco plate for just $4.99, only at Rubio's.

this past year when we were there, but didn't really have the time I'd like to spend there and really check everything out. That is a long way to get to. I don't have anything to say about it. It would be cool. Our phone number, 570-1053. Our text number, 35253. This text says, Mikey, dude, it was so great to hear Tyrone and Tortilla again. Awesome! They were the reason I first laughed until I cried from your show. Please bring them back full time. That's P1 Yes Dude. Well, we don't control who calls into the show. Very true. How could we? What? How could we? That's what I told Shauna. Yeah, I mean. I said, I don't, you know. It was open phone type of thing. It was open phone type of thing. We went to the phone and obviously it was there. And besides that, Eddie and I were both in the bathroom at the time. I didn't realize that we were back on. It was weird how that happened. Had to go. So that's, yeah. So there's that. Now you go. Okay, thanks. So let's see.
Skye, what is the latest that we know about the crash yesterday? Well, if for some odd reason you haven't listened to the news or anything, there was a really bad crash yesterday in University City where a fighter jet had lost an engine and ended up, the pilot had to eject. And, you know, there's speculation that... The pilot ejected after they lost the second engine. The pilot is okay, but the jet did crash into a home in the University City area, killing three people. Suspected four people, but only three bodies have been recovered. They resumed the search this morning when they got daylight this morning because they had to stop because there wasn't enough light last night. And they still are searching for the body of a child in that home. According to sources, it was a mother.
a grandmother and two children who died in the home. I wonder if anybody else lived there, like if there was a husband on his way home or a husband at work or anything like that. Yeah, I haven't heard about that. The information is coming out of their church from their pastor at the Korean United Methodist Church in Claremont. And they say that the mother was home with her two children, a one-year-old and a two-month-old. And the mother from Korea was there visiting to help out. and that they had actually just moved into this home because with the new baby, they needed a bigger home and more room. So they were there. It was just a scary scene. So right now they're looking for the remains of that other child so they can confirm that four people died. But like we said, the pilot is OK, you know, minor injuries due to ejecting from the plane. But luckily, the pilot is OK. And of course, there is a full investigation going on. There's a woman who saw the pilot cut 18. I saw him land right there and I and I had heard the noises, you know, and I thought, oh, my gosh, could that possibly be the pilot? And I saw him pick up his helmet and start down the hill. He said he felt fine.
Then my other neighbor came over from across the street and had her phone with her. And he said, can I use your phone? But then he couldn't remember what number he needed to call. He said, I was flying on one engine for about 100 miles. That is crazy, man. For 100 miles? And then for it to give out right there. Yeah, so close. Just about a mile northwest of the landing strip at Miramar is where the plane went down. Because he'd already made it 100 miles. And I heard on the news last night, I don't know. if Sky had read about this, but I heard that the husbands of the house that got hit had just talked to them minutes before the plane hit. Really? I heard that on the news last night. Wow. Which is a trip, too. Which is crazy. Very sad. Well, as we get more information, we're going to pass it on to you. And we had Mari Payton on earlier from NBC 739. She's a P1, which is a Mikey Show listener. She called in.
We talked to her. Yeah, but advice to everybody who, you know, in the area, don't go there. Don't be a looky-loo. There's so much going on right now. People are really trying to figure this out, piece it together. So I know everybody's curious and wants to get a look, but now is not the time. The area is blocked off. You need to show proof of your address just to get to your home if you live in the area. And then also to the people in the area who I'm sure by now know, if you have debris from the jet in your yard, do not touch it. Call the Marine Corps. will come out and handle it. Some of the text messages that we're getting at 35253. Yes, Tyrone and Tortilla are back. This is the best day ever. That's P1 Hannah. This one says, Mikey, so glad Tyrone and Tortilla called in. That just made my day, and I'm sure thousands of P1s out there. That's P1 Sanjaya. This text said, that just made my day. They have a lot of fame? Tyrone and Tortilla need to call in more often. That's P1 Eddie. Next one says, Tyrone and Tortilla was like Christmas come early. Thanks, guys. That's P1 Elitist. Listen, people like that Tyrone and Tortilla. We never know when they're going to call in, though. That's the thing. We can't control them. How could we know? Let's see. Apparently, there's a new song. Wait. Oh, no.
New video coming out and everything. Cut 20. Most of the pieces of music that we would end up jamming on would basically, the way we would refer to them would be by the city they came from. A bunch of the stuff in the song All Nightmare Long, the whole middle section was in a song called Glasgow. That's Blythe. So there's a bunch of that stuff that just literally directly correlated to geographical places. That was kind of the easiest way to keep track of it. Hey, James. Replay Mira Mesa on the monitors, man. Crank alcohol. Who is interviewing Lars? Seriously. Constantly. Every day. It's the same, like, it's a telephone. He's not in person. It's the same exact stuff. Like, he's calling someone on the telephone. Do we ever hear from James? No. Oh, no. Nobody. It's always Lars. It's always Lars. I actually have an answer for that. Thank you, Lars. Please. James doesn't have a phone. Oh, is that what the deal is? I'm the only guy in the band that has a phone. Well, remember when we were doing our first 28-hour show up in San Jose and we were on the air at like 2 in the morning and the hotline rang and it was Lars going, hey, what are you guys doing on the radio? He goes, oh, man, I was freaky. I was driving home. I'm driving home.
in the studio because we're recording an album called Some Kind of Monster Available on Electra Records in two months release date December 23rd and I was listening to the radio and I was like can that be Mikey? So maybe he's just calling people. Yeah maybe he does. He just calls in. He almost came down there that night. Do you remember that? Oh that's right yeah. We were like, dude, you should come down here. And he's like, oh, maybe I still can to drive my kids to school in the morning. But maybe I'll come down there right now. You have a cold, Lars? Yeah, I have sinuses. All the time? Every time. Yeah, I'm taking my Nasonex. Oh, good, good. Okay. You don't need to take it right now. Hang on, one more Nasonex. No, I don't want to hear it again. Oh. Okay. That's right. Gross. Disturbed is going to tour this winter. Wow. I do not believe there's any San Diego dates on that tour. You got to go to LA. You're going to have to travel to see them. I guess the closest date will be Big Bear. Oh, wow. In El Centro. David Draymond, Cut 21.
Yeah, we definitely have spent our share of time outside of the States, and it's certainly time for us to come back home, and we're looking forward to the home crowds, to the energy of the U.S. crowds. We're definitely looking forward to the whole time. Sounds like you're really looking forward to it. Calm down. I've never heard anybody so excited. Maybe Aaron Lewis, but other than him. That's right. We're hoping to be home before day without a gay. Well, you better get there quick. It's tomorrow. 570-1053. Going to Vegas. Oh, yeah. Broadcasting live from the Palms Friday morning for the big UFC fight. When we come back. Let's play P1 Password. P1 Password for movie passes. If you want to play P1 Password, call us right now. Wait till I tell you what Diddy says that he's going to do because he has respect for the people that are struggling with the economy. Oh, no. He says he'll do this. Not buy his wife a Christmas present? He's being serious, Eddie. Shut up, Eddie. Eddie, he's being... Eddie. So is there's other people that I know. Dude, wait till you hear the rocks on this guy. He says what he's gonna do. He's next. He used to eat a lot of natural food. Until he learned most people natural causes. Mikey. Finding clothes that are stylish is hard. I mean, I think last time we played, you know, I think we were like 14 points in before we actually offensively got on the field, got in the rhythm. So, you know, we limit our mistakes, capitalize on the one-on-one matchups in the passing game also with the great block of our offense line and the one-on-one matchups. And the running backs were out on the secondary. And when you got those two heavy-body guys running out on the secondary, I don't care how good you are, you know, those guys are going to wear you down. That's what they did. He's good. Yeah. He's good. That's small. Yeah, he is very small. And he has a Superman tattoo. Does he do? Yeah. He is. Welcome back to the show, ladies and gentlemen. That's from the Third Day Christmas album. It's pretty good stuff. Hey, you know that song that we play at the beginning of the show now? The stuff from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly? Sean's going to try to get this. He heard it the other day. Apparently, Satriani does a version of it. Really? That'd be pretty cool. That's so awesome. Does Coldplay do a version? Yeah. Coldplay ripped off the Satriani version of the song.
Before we went to break, I told you that Diddy, out of the kindness of his heart, has decided to forego some stuff because of the economy. Yes. That there are people that are hurting in the economic times that we're experiencing. And so because of that, out of respect, he would like to do something. Yes. Sky, what will Diddy do? Well, here's his quote. Quote, out of respect, I've been trying to dress less flashy. It's one thing to be stylish. It's another to be over the top. You gotta know when to hold back and not rub it in. How does he do it? I don't know. How is the heart big enough to contain all that? It's amazing. He's a prince. Yes. You know? That's... I'm an angel. Well, it's touching. Yeah. You know, every time... I'm black and I'm proud. Every time he takes off a diamond, an angel gets its wings. Is that what it is? Shut up. If we could all just be so giving. Shut up. That would really be a not giving special thing. Shut the heck up. I'm sure that he just wears the Fila track pants now and not the jacket. Yes. Is that why Sky's always in sweats? That's right. That is why Sky is always in sweats. That's the jacket I'm talking about. Amazing. You're very giving to them. That's right. Shut up. Why doesn't that guy donate a goat or a whole herd of goats? If he were loving, he would. Real givers do that. Thank you.
Do you know how many goats Diddy could probably get? Yeah. A lot. Like three. Gaggle of goats. Shut up. I think so. That is actually what they're called when they're in a group. A gaggle. Gaggle. I believe they are called a gaggle. Obviously. Yeah. Hey, is anybody up for a little game of P1 Password? Now it's time for P1 Password. Yes, it's time. Come on, Eddie and Zach. Yes. P1 Password. Yes. Yes. P1 Password on the Mikey Show. What's somebody new? It's P1 Password. No. I want some strange. That's creepy. Oh, Ashley does not know. Now, for those of you that don't know how P1 Password works, it's pretty simple. We, meaning the show members, and you, meaning the audience, are going to play a game where the show members try to communicate with each other. And you, the audience, get to hear it. But the two people communicating, they cannot hear. So you're in on it. You're kind of in on it as you are listening in the audience. Now, here's what we do. We draw names out of a hat. And we play for you. Trust us, it's easier that way. P1J Mac? What's going on, Mikey?
How you doing, man? Not too bad, dude. How you doing? I'm doing good. I'm going to reach into a hat right now. I'm going to draw out two names, and the two names that I pick are going to be the two people on the show that are going to try to communicate these words. One's the communicator, one's the guesser. Here we go. Right on. Hey, Eddie, while I'm drawing the name, why don't you explain how it works? Oh, jeez. Oh, right. Oh, it isn't that. I will mess it up. All right. If I'm explaining it, I'll mess it up. You got 60 seconds. You got to get five words correct, only being able to pass twice or miss two. Okay. There it is. That's it. That's it. You miss or pass twice, you're out. All right. I'm drawing, and the first name I've drawn is B-Rob. Oh, so I'm the guesser. No, you are the communicator. Oh, we're going to lose. Sorry, J-Mac. I'm sorry, dude. Please don't let it be me. Rob is communicating with Zeph. Holy mackerel. Wow. Get in here, Oates. Oh, this is going to be bad. This is going to be bad. So what we do is... Why are you going to the airport? Blind somewhere? We have them both take their headphones off so neither of them can hear. No, Rob can hear. No, I got to... He's got to be able to hear the words. Oh, boy. Oh, man. This is tough.
Stop it, Sean. You're throwing them off. This is really, really tough. My wife is laughing hysterically right now. She loves that I don't understand our games. She thinks me not understanding how our games work is one of the funniest things she's ever heard. So, Eddie? Rob has to hear the words with the audience. And then he tries to communicate, giving three clues to Seth so that he can... One word, clues. This all sounds fun. Hey, J-Mac. Hang on, bro, okay? Yeah. You know how the game works? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you email me? Okay. Hang on, bro. Sean! He thinks it's so funny to do that. It's messed up. And it just makes me so confused. I can't concentrate. I don't blame you, Mike. You're trying to run the show here. I get so confused. All right, you ready? Let's see how we do with B-Rob communicating with Zeth.
Zeth cannot hear right now. And so here we go. Page. Book. Cover. Inside. Page. Yes. Disc. CD. Music. Computer. Drive. Insert. Disc. Yes. Yes. Let me play it again. Bed. Sleep. Head. Pillow. Yes. Remote. TV. Channel. Change. Remote. Yes. Only one more you need to get. Bath. Sky. Beating. Takes. Baths. Yes. Yes. You did it, bro. No way. You did it. Wow. Well done. Holy cow. Sky takes bath. That was great. J-Mac. So many bathhouse jokes.
Hey, they got five, man. They got five in 60 seconds. Don't ever expect that to happen again. Hang on the line, will you? I can't believe that. That was crazy. What do you win? Valkyrie premier passes. Dude, nice. Awesome. Zach, dude, that was awesome. I can't believe that. All right. I'm the worst. I'm the worst, though. Oh, that's true. Oh, man. All right, you ready? Let's get our next contestant. Okay. P1 Scott's Army. Is that right? P1 Scott's Army. What's up, Mikey? Oh, not too much. Aw, deflated. Yeah, just, you know, I don't know. I have a hard time understanding how to play the games sometimes, you know? I'll tell you. I'll stop it. It really messes with my head. All right, Scott's Army, I'm going to draw names and see who your two players are going to be. You ready? Yeah, I'm ready. All right, the first name is... Eddie. Oh, yeah. Nice. Hello, baby. Nice. Eddie's good at this. Eddie is the communicator. Let's do this. Me, me, me. And he will be communicating to... Please be sky. Please be sky. Mike. Oh, no. I'm going to do great. Mike. Mike, you know how you're playing, right? Be quiet. Yeah, you got to run it, Rob. We're all right. Everybody's fine here. We're all friends, kind of. Oh, no. It's cool. Oh, no. It's cool.
Come on, Mike. You can do this. They've never been paired up before. No, we have, actually. Were you communicating to him? Other way around. Other way around. Okay, as I thought. Did you see any? Can I, like, maybe start on the other side? I always don't look. Okay. You'll see when I think that. Why is Mike sitting so low? What do you mean? I mean, I can barely see you. Are you talking about how my butt is about two inches from the floor? Yeah. Come on, bro. Get in the game. You got this. I am going to do... Thank you. You are. That is a fact. You have the best partner. Eddie, you know how to communicate. We can do this. Yeah, we can do this. Come on, you guys. Talk in the mic. I'm talking right into the mic. Testing one, two. Testing one, two. Sibilance. Your new facial hair is kind of throwing me off. Oh, dude, I've been freaking out about it all morning. What's the problem? I didn't notice. Oh, he did the three thing. The three thing. What's wrong with that? He did the three thing. What? Oh, shit. Everybody's got a perfect visual of what the three thing is. He has three lines on his chin. The mustache on each side and one in the middle. It's like the Fu Manchu with the middle. Hey, rock star. Wow. Okay, let's get this thing. Alright, yo.
Eddie, are you ready? Yes, I'm ready. Mikey, are you ready? Yeah, headphones down so I don't hear anything. Yeah, turn those all the way down. Make sure yours are down too, Rob. I'm ready. Eddie just looked at Rob and Rob honestly looked behind him like, well, who's going to do this? I'm not realizing he's got it. Okay, and here we go. Scar. Cut. Meat. Permanent. Marker. Skin. Tattoo. Oh. Mystery. Genre. Thriller. Scary. Oh, no. What? Iron. Clothes. Suit. Wrinkle. Iron. Yes. Brass. Baseball. Metal. Bat. No. Rail. Train.
That was the worst. Yeah, that was it. That was the worst. That was the worst. I like how Mike started guessing off of his own responses. He said baseball. I said ball, and then I said metal, and he said bat. I don't think he understands how to play. What were they? Oh, boy. The one where I said balls and metal and the rail is brass. Uh-huh. Oh, yeah. Oh, you hear the word. Yeah. You hear the word. The first one. The genre and thriller was mystery. I didn't know where to go after that. And the first one. Was the cut, permanent. I thought that was, that must be like some sort of, not tattoo, but like branding. Scar. Scar. Yeah. That's good, Eddie. Sorry, Scott's Army. That was really good. Scott's Army. I'm not smart. Oh, man. Okay. Sorry. P1 Ironworker. I have failed at this game in every aspect. There isn't another way. There's not another way I could fail at this today.
I somehow managed to get it all done. Alright, Iron Worker, your communicator is going to be Ashley. Well, Skye does speak Ashley. She'd get it done. It's all good. But Ashley gets mad at me when I get them wrong. She calls me stupid. She calls me names. Ashley is going to communicate with Skye, and she does. She calls you stupid when you don't get them right. She's angry with me. Headphones off. Stop. Oh, that's so confusing. Skye has her headphones off, and we're about to begin. Are you ready, Ashley? You're communicating with Skye. Only the audience can hear this. Skye. He's very distracted by the cinnamon rolls that are sitting in front of her. You can have one after we win. Afterwards. After a win. You have to win to have one. If you can communicate five words to Skye, you get a cinnamon roll. Okay. All right? Yeah. Now, Skye can't hear, and the audience, you get to. So here we go. Are you ready, Ash? Mm-hmm. Here we go. Barber. Hair. Clip. Chop. Salon.
Called. Where's Clueless? A pass. Okay. Crib. Baby. Boy. Sleeps. Crib. Yes. Coaster. Roller. Skates. Ride. Coaster. Yes. Mall. You. Girl. Joke. Funny. Rob. Stupid. No. Dang it. Sword. A weapon. Knife. Longer. Sword. Yes. Lemon. Lime. Lemon. Yes. One more. One more. Spring. Trip. Summer. Winter. Spring. Yes. Wow. Wow. Oh, my God. After maybe the worst clue ever given in the history of the game. That was fantastic.
She goes, called. Yeah. Wow. What was that? Well, your clue were what? Hair? Yeah. Hair and then... Barber. He said salon, so I said it's called. No, you can't say it's called. You said called. It was barber? Yes. Oh, she said men. Oh, I was going to say Marion. So what was the other... That would be good. What was the rob? Oh, it was mall. Mall. Mall. It was mall. Well, we did it anyways. We did it anyways. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Yeah, it's a win. It's a win. Iron worker. Got the W. Look at that, dude. Ashley killed it for you. I get a cinnamon roll. I win. Did they get it done? She's already got that cinnamon roll in her mouth. The Mikey Show continues on The Rock. Well, you got to go to Vons and check out their selection of gift cards. That was extremely weird. Welcome back to the Mikey Show. Our text number is 35253.
Our phone number is 570-1053. Hearing up, Rob, is that... Yeah. This song really gets me. Just grab some Kleenex and I don't know what you're doing over there. We have not done... What? We have not done new releases. Yes, Dark Knight. Oh! Eddie! Eddie just said... Cool. Yes, Dark Knight. That was... We're about to announce it. It's been officially two months. This is ridiculous. What do you got, Skye? All right, new video games out today. We have Power Up Forever for Xbox 360. We have Imagine Fashion Party for the Wii. Wii! Ski and Shoot for the Wii. Dungeon Maker 2, The Hidden War for PSP. Sonic Unleashed for PS3. And finally, we have Shin Megami Tensi. Persona 4 for the PS2. No chance, that's correct. No way. I mean, no way in the world. Zero. No way. Not even possible. Please, dead on. Okay, new music out today. Common with Universal Mind Control. This ain't my flavor. Really? No. Not down? Mm-mm. Wouldn't get it. There's no melody. What about this? It's called sheet, Mike. It's called beat. Yeah, there's a beat, but there's no melody. Oh, there's a melody. But that's not his melody. That's a jam. Yeah. Also, with the album out today, we have Maroon 5 with Call and Response, which is basically a remix album of all their hits. What? Yeah. So let me get this straight.
I guess the thing now is you go and, you know, you hire a DJ, like, you know, Sean's friend Moss Deep or whatever. And you have him, you know, you know, play and you just mix your music into it. What do you do, Mike? Here you do. Here you do. You get one of your boys to throw some beats down, you know, underneath your track. Right. And then you got yourself a remix album. That's how you make some scrap. Yeah, dude, but. Yeah. You just. Lay some beach days out. Okay. Okay. Wait a minute, though. Aren't you just, like, taking advantage of your fans? You tripping, fool? Come on. Oh, no. I love the remixes. Like, I don't feel taken advantage of. Well, then, why don't you just, like, if you like the remixes so much, why don't you just. find some dude in the building that'll mix them for you. So just go get Malcolm, you know, and be like, hey, dude, can you throw some beats on this for me? Some dude in the building isn't Pharrell Williams or, you know, Mary J. Blige or, you know. So that was just a way for you to like... That's all the black people. Well, no, these are people who took part in this album. I'm just saying, like, these are talented people. That's every black guy I've ever had. Sorry. No, these are talented people. I don't know. I think it's cool. I want that. Well, yeah, but I mean... Sounds better than the original.
To me, it just sounds like they went and got some dude, you know, they just put some stuff back there. And like what follows this is like a guy rapping to this song. So it's like a totally different song. Is the guy rapping named Kanye? I don't know. Then I'm out. You know what I mean? Really? Well, I don't like it when they have, you know, featuring like, you know, DJ Fly. And you're like, who's that? DJ Fly. DJ Fly is really good. He's my favorite DJ. He's now a cool whip. Well, fine. Maybe Mike will like this. Brandy has a new album out today. Oh, Mike will love this. It's called Human. Mike will love this. Let me hear it. Ready. You're going to love this. Oh, yeah. Put on a pink baby tee, you know, that shows all my belly, and I'll dance. That's weird. I'll do a lot of this. I'll do a lot of this. I bet you to not do that. Oh, I like that. I would pay you to stop. I like that. That was melodic, you know? Had a good melody. Oh, thank you. See you along. Okay. And then finally out today, we have another Christmas album. It's from Aretha Franklin, and it's called This Christmas. I picture a lot of really, really heavy African-American grandmothers fanning themselves. It's like so hot in the building. Don't ruin it. Out today, we have The Dark Knight. You can get the regular DVD. You can get the Tugest Collector's Edition. Or else you can get it on Blu-ray. All out today. Almost like when Andy said it earlier. Did Andy talk about the two discs special collector's edition? No. Is that the one you can only get at Walmart? It doesn't say that here. We don't have any clips from it. Should. Why so silly? Incorrected. We did have one cut. We had one clip. That's Heath Ledger. I don't know why. It was very theatrical. Why did she have to do that? That was the scene in the movie where he said to Batman, why so serious? That was Ashley. That was Ashley? Wow, you're good. I don't even believe it. It was so good. Stop acting like this. He was talking to you, Ashley. Also out today, we have Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who.

He's got a who living in his noggin. Have you guys seen Horton Lives a Who? I read the book. Just wondering. TV shows to DVD. That's it? That's the only movies they're called? Hey, they don't make VHS anymore, do they? Is there anybody that still... They do? I wonder if you could get that movie on VHS. I know it.
Well, I'm not talking about movies. I'm just talking about, like, the tapes. You can still buy the tapes. Oh, yeah. No, I meant, no, what I meant was, you know, since we were talking about new releases and all. Yeah. I understand. Specifically, The Dark Knight. You know what? I made a mistake. No, no, no. Sean, you know what? It's okay. No, no, no. No, please. No, no, please. Well, if you insist. It's okay. No, no, no. No, no, no. I wasn't rubbing it in. I shouldn't be allowed to make a mistake. No, no, no. When you say please rub it in, I wasn't trying to rub it in. I beg you to please humiliate me. No, no. It's all right. Please humiliate me. In front of a live audience on the radio. Live audience. Can you guys be quiet so Sky can tell us that Lost Season 4 is out on TV? Oh, my God. Thank you, Eddie. Thank you. Oh, my God. Sky? Lost is out today? Season 4? Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Oh, this is out of hand. Well, TV shows to DVD today. Oh, what do you got? Well, we have Lost the Complete. Wow! Is it LV? I don't want to rub it in. Oh, okay. Hey, Sean, if Lost the TV show is on TV and I want to tape it on a video cassette, can I still go buy blank VHS tapes? You know, Maxell brand or Memorex brand.
Hey, Sean, can you still buy blank VHS tapes? I'm curious if you can get those. Do they still manufacture blank tapes? Oh, head drives. Head drives. It hurts. All right. Also on DVD, we have Deadwood, the complete series. Oh, I love Deadwood. Happy Days, the complete fourth season. Wow, I love it. The Wire, the complete series. He now has to focus on TV and give TV the time they deserve. So he says the Radio Factor, which is the name of his radio show, will end in the first quarter of 2009. Oh, man. Oh, man. I think sidelines ring. Oh, hello.
Hey, guys, this is Bill Clinton calling in. Bill Clinton? What's going on? How you doing, Eddie? It's kind of surprising. What's happening? Well, I just heard this story about, you know, Bill O'Reilly is going to be quitting the shit. And the interesting thing is, not a lot of people know this. I'm going to be taking over for him. Wow, this is a huge exclusive. Bill Clinton, I'm surprised they would get you to replace Bill O'Reilly, but that's a huge deal. Yeah, well, the deal is, you guys know that celebrity impersonator Craig Gass? Yes, we know good friends of us. I was thinking of having him on the show and have him do his Pacino impression. On your show? Yeah. That's interesting. But here is the twist. What's that? Pacino as a baby. Well, no, that's already been. Baby Pacino. Yeah, absolutely. Bop-a-booey. Bop-a-booey. Every once in a while, just look at the microphone. I'll go, bop-a-booey. No, that's already been done. It's already been done. Yeah. Maybe try something else. And I'll say, phooey. Okay, that's enough. We got it. You know, guys, since I was the first black president, I now want to be the first black conservative radio talk.
You're going to be conservative, huh? I'm going to have a groove session where I break out my sex every day between the financial port and the Washington update. It's going to be pretty awesome. That sounds great. That doesn't make sense. Hey, guys, I'm just running down some ideas here. Okay. Tell me what y'all think. And don't be so critical of me. No idea is a bad idea. I like it. I'm thinking of doing this segment on my new radio show. I want to call it Free Beer Friday. Okay. Again. I heard this other guy do it. I know that, all right? But I think it's a real think piece. No, it's not. I think so. I don't know how that would be. I got this other great idea from a radio show. I got my stunt boy, George Stephanopoulos. I dress him up. Wait. George Stephanopoulos is your stunt boy? Yep. Okay. Get him all dressed up like Hillary and we scare people at Starbucks. What do you think? That sounds... No, Eddie. Yeah. It's the latest, man. It's going to be funny. It sounds funny. And his stunt boy name is going to be Boy George. I like that. Classic. I love that. That is good. Your show sounds good. I got two words from my radio show, Eddie. What's that? Hillary ain't going to be on it. Well, that's more than a lot of words. Two words. If I have to see her standing in front of the mayor practicing one more concession speech, I'm going to hurl. Wow. That hurts. Do you need a news girl?
Oh, that's a great question, Eddie. I actually don't. I do not need a news girl. That's good. You don't have one. Anyway. Anyway. You guys realize that Hillary got all her ideas from me, right? Well, some people were saying that, yeah. Every once in a while, I'd mess with her like this one time. I showed her the last 10 minutes of King Kong, and I told her it was breaking news on CNN. That's not nice. She's a freak, man. That's hilarious. Called her mom, said the big old monkey was killing her. Oh, she is funny, man. You can do that on your radio show. Yeah, I'm going to do that. That's good. I like it. I'm getting all my radio show lined up here. We're going to have Stripper Monday. Inhaling Tuesdays. Don't ask, don't tell Wednesdays. Cultury without real consequences Thursdays. Free sex Friday. You like that one better than TV Friday? Free sex Friday. You get it? I got a whole bunch of games I got planned for the listeners. We're going to plan on do this thing where we get Hillary, right? Yeah.
And we'll have her sing songs. And then people have to guess the title. Okay. I'm going to call it. Sounds familiar. Call it Stone Deaf Karaoke. What do you think? It's the original idea. I came up with it. I don't think so. We're going to have, Eddie, what about this one? We're going to have three women I used to date compete in a trivia contest, all right? Okay. And it's part trivia. and a chicken-eating game called the Drumstick Challenge, right? I love it. You like it? I love it. And then I'm going to also do this game where I have an impressionist come in, a person that does voices, all right? Yeah, like Craig Gas. Yeah, he's going to come in, and he's going to fart like various celebrities, all right? Okay. We're going to call it Fake Gas Theater. Okay. Fake Gas Theater. I like it. I like it. What do you think about that? These are good ideas. You got a good show. Hey, listen, I have no short of ideas. I got a lot of ideas for this thing. Yeah. And so here's one we're going to play. It's called Tough Love with Billy. Let me explain. Wait, now, wait, now. No, no, no. Hear me. Hold on, Bill. Oh, I thought you loved these ideas, Eddie. Now I'm starting to think. I just give them the advice they need to hear, all right? No, Bill. I shoot straight from the hip. I don't play Kate. I'll see you. That's right.
And then, okay, I'm going to change the name of that one bit I was thinking of before. We'll change the name of it. We'll call the segment, What's That She's Singing? What do you think? That one I like. Yeah. That's good. We'll have, like, Chelsea sing. You try to guess what it is she's singing. That's not bad. I think these are good, you know, bit ideas. Yeah, your show is really good. How about a game we could play? We call it, Is Hillary a Man? Still ironing out the wrinkles. You get it? Yeah. Bill Clinton. Let me tell you. I'm hip. Hang on. Let me put on my Ray-Bans. Okay. All right, man. We're going to have the most rippinest radio show ever, man. It's radio. We can't see your sunglasses. Check this out. Every Friday. Every Friday when we do free beer Friday, it's going to be off the chain. I'm going to be drunk by 9 in the morning, nude by 10. Nude by 10. Nude. Hey, what about it? Y'all don't still do the prank spank, do you? No, you don't. Haven't said that in four years. Can I do that one? Sure, it's all yours, buddy. Yeah, take it. I'll prank spank Katie. Listen to me, man. You're the one laughing at your own jokes. Dude.
What happened? I'm being serious, man. I'm hearing you. Okay. Every Monday for the prank spank, I'm going to call Katy Perry every Monday morning, and I'm going to say to her, I kissed a boy, and I liked it. Okay, well, that's... What do you think? That's a good one. Yeah, you do. And then I'm going to go like this. I'm going to go, hey, you want to know that boy's name, that little boy's name? And she's going to go, what? And I'm going to go, Hillary Clinton. Prank spank. Blam-o, prank spank. You got skills, man. Get the record. That is funny. That's weird. Yeah, I need a co-host, y'all. Oh, hey, really? Yeah. Maybe mix it up a little bit, try to get a black guy. Whoa, wow. And when does Michael Vick get out, Joe? Okay, that's a bad idea. That is a bad idea. I think he could add a lot to the show now. I don't think that's... Plus, we have a lot in common. He liked to fight dogs. I married one. Oh, wow. Hey, now. Hey, now. Cha-ching. Hey, people can't hear you, Bill Clinton. He's just getting his chops ready. Cha-ching. More of this great stuff when I get my radio show. I gotta go, guys. Okay, Bill Clinton. And good night. That was Bill. Oh, man. Sounds like a good show. That's gonna be a fantastic show. He's got a lot of ideas. All the ideas sound original. I don't know who's gonna pick that up, but...
Okay. Let's see. So, apparently, Sky's got some news that is just coming in that we're going to be hearing a lot about. Yeah, I'm sure we'll have all the audio of this tomorrow, but, you know, the View has already aired on the East Coast, and so it's all over the web that Barbara Walters last night, I guess she does a radio show for Sirius. Oh, like Bill Clinton? Yeah. Oh, wow. And last night for her radio show, she interviewed Paula Abdul. So this morning on The View, she was talking about what went down in her interview with Paula Abdul. And there's two things that I think are pretty insane. First is in regards to the story about the woman who was obsessed with Paula Abdul, had been obsessed with her for a while, killed herself outside of Paula's house. Paula has since then not slept at the house and is now selling the house because she's so traumatized by the whole thing. She tells Barbara Walters that when this woman, this obsessed fan, went to audition for American Idol, Paula told the producers of American Idol what was up and that this woman was sick and she was an obsessed fan and that they shouldn't allow her to be on the show. And she says that the producers completely ignored all of that and put the woman on the show anyway. Really? So that's one thing. I don't believe that. You don't believe that's true? No.
And there's really no way to prove it. Yeah, it's going to be her word against the producer's word. Paula is so out of it. There's no way that she's going to recognize somebody that's, you know, they bring in half of the people they bring in, like Ashley, are just out of their minds. Wait a second. I'm trying to make a point. You know what I mean? It's a good point, too. Well, this woman was stalking Paula and obsessed with Paula prior to American Idol. So according to Paula, she had knowledge of this woman before she actually came and auditioned. So that's one thing that, you know, obviously isn't. Fox isn't going to like hearing this stuff today when they hear what she was talking to Barbara Walters about. And the other thing is Paula claims that she is a victim of a three-way conspiracy to ruin her career. And the perpetrators are the big wigs at Fox, the people who do American Idol, and Simon Cowell. What?
Our idol already has brought in a fourth judge and Barbara believes that the way Paula is talking, this is her last season on American Idol. Well, I mean, I'm just surprised that she doesn't think that she's going to have to back up that stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Possibility. Okay. Just throwing it out there. All right. Talk about it. Publicity stunt. Just throwing it out there. Generate talk. Possible. She's smart enough to do that. No, but they are. They definitely are. But why do they need that? Because they always are looking for an angle. But a negative, grody angle? Yeah, the grody angle. The suicide thing is where I go. They wouldn't go there. They would not go there. They wouldn't go there. Isn't she making them liable? When she says stuff like that. Isn't she putting Fox at risk when she says that? Well, but technically not because I would assume, you know, when you sign all those papers, because they had me sign so many papers, I would assume that that woman who unfortunately committed suicide signed whatever, any type of anything. I mean, when she says that she told Fox producers multiple times that she didn't want that lady on and they continued to, she's putting, she's making them sound.
Like they're irresponsible. And which is advantage of this woman. Yeah. And that's putting Fox in a very vulnerable situation. In other words, let's say I'm a family member of that woman and I decide that I want to sue. Well, that's my exhibit. Hey, the first thing that I would like to offer as evidence that they that I'm suing Fox for 90 million dollars for basically killing my sister is because they knowingly. put her on, even though people on the very show were suggesting that she not be put on. You know? And so I think that if I'm Fox, I'm like, oh, great, you know? I'm surprised that, I don't know, that they keep her during that. Barbara Walters is going to talk about all this on The View today, and we'll have audio of it tomorrow, and who knows, maybe by tomorrow Fox will have responded. I bet they will. You think so? Yeah, I bet they will. These are some pretty crazy things to be saying. Our text number, if you would like to text us. This text says, just wanted to tell you guys that I love the show so much, I spent two hours stripping a extension cord so I could make a 60-foot antenna so I could pick up the channel from my office. It's outrageous. Wow. Looks very professional.
That's crazy. And it says, I can't wait to get me some Sweetberry Wine. Yes. Oh, yes. You can get our brand new Best of CD for 2008. It is called Sweetberry Wine. Yes. And you can get it at MikeyShow.com. M-I-K-E-Y-S-H-O-W. Right under new on the show, it says pre-order your Best of the Mikey Show CD now. It's got the artwork and everything for the CD. Yeah. You get to see what the front of the CD looks like. Cool. It's pretty outrageous. Sky, you look fantastic. Oh, thank you. I really look good in a mustache. Absolutely. Yeah, it's quite my look. Please enjoy Eddie's mustache, which is, for the record, upside down. Oh, really? It was weird it grew in that way. I know. We didn't have any control over it. Yeah, we had to grow these for the shoot. So weird. So on the CD, you've got O. Michael Phelps. Nice. You've got Neil Diamond. Yes. Love Neil. You've got Neil Diamond. You've got Rob's Aunt Jemima song. Yes. So good. You have us riffing about the Bonnaroo Festival. Do you remember that one? Yes, I remember that one. One of the very first times that Barbara called into the show. Wow.
You have P1 Doug defending Wesley Snipes. If you guys don't remember that, that was fantastic. This dude called in, thought it was a big conspiracy against black people, and it was pretty fantastic. We've got a Mikey Peace Theater. It's the first ever Mikey Peace Theater we ever did. Sky, you were great in that. That was the original. Show me the money. Oh, yes. It was the original time Sky yelled out, show me the money. It wasn't even in the script. Oh, yeah, right. She just said it. Show me the money. Whoa. You're so full of it. Dr. Phil is on the best of CD. Rourke and Tattoo is on the best of CD. They're my favorite. Carrie Underwood and Harry Carey, the very first time they ever made an appearance on the Mikey show. Wow. They're great friends. Still makes sense. That's right. Of course. Tough Love with Eddie is on the Best of CD. The best. The best. And we finish the CD off with The Carol of the Hams. You must be in heaven right now. I know. Listen to all the hams are saying. How are you able to talk about that drool? First Johnny, now this. It's like having a ham V. And the CD is only $10. Holy moly. That's it?
It's only $10, man. All the proceeds go to Rady's Children's Hospital. Nice. Yeah, dude, it's good. Let's see. Mikey, please have Sean play his kiosk where he's yelling it. I love it so much. Love you all. That's P1 Froggy. Oh, come on, Sean. Come on, Sean. Let's hear it. Kiosk! Oh, there it is. There it is. Maniac. La la la la. What else? Oh, Sky has a list. Really? Now, this is a list. I'm good at this. Now, hang on a minute. We've done this list before, but this is actually a pretty good version of the list, Sky says.
Yeah, so we did this about a month ago where there was a list out of the greatest movie characters of all. Oh, that lame list you brought up. That was terrible. And you guys were really upset because you disagreed. There wasn't one Star Wars guy on it. And you disagreed with a lot of the choices. So this is another list, and I think this one will make you happy. So the greatest movie characters of all time. Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca. Can you calm down? Luke Skywalker. Let him go. Jango Fett. Darth Maul. Yoda. Obi-Wan Kenobi. Jango Fett. Darth Vader is number two. Jabba the Hutt. And Han Solo is number four. Yes. Starface. C-3PO. R2-D2. No, there's no more Star Wars. How dare you know their first names? Matt Damon in any movie. Tootsie. Is Tootsie on there? Who could ever forget Dustin Hoffman as the lovable Tootsie?

What's up, dude? Hannibal Lecter. Hannibal Lecter, of course. Hannibal Lecter is number five. Of course he's number five. Willy Wonka. What is it? Denzel Washington and Glory. Yes, there it is. End of the list. Denzel Washington driving Miss Daisy. That was... No, Sean. No, Sean. Roger Dorn. Angelina Jolie in The Bone Collector. Eddie, I don't know. I don't know about that. Angelina Jolie in Hackers. Again, if you don't know the character's name, they're probably not on the list. Denzel Washington in...
Denzel Washington in The Green Mile. You're hurting my heart. The shark in Jaws. Denzel Washington in Shawshank Redemption. Again, you're thinking of another gentleman. I'm not sure why you're confusing. Denzel Washington in Blade. No? Not every black part is Denzel Washington. I'm sorry. There are other African-American. Whatever. Emilio Estevez.
In Mighty Ducks. Private Pile, Full Metal Jacket. Mighty Ducks 2. Smalls in The Sandlot. Nice. Put it on the board. Thousand points. Yes, you're killing me, Smalls. Brett Favre, Something About Mary. Okay, the game is over. Mikey Show. Well, I don't think Falcor's on there, but how about we go with Jack Ryan? Jack Ryan. Yeah. Blade. Rockin'. Thank you. Sky, what is it? Number seven is The Dude. Number three is Heath Ledger's Joker. Two soon skies. What's next? Estelle Getty, really? Bernie Mac? Oh my gosh, you guys. I won't even tell you what Ashley just died. I don't even want to know. And finally, the number one greatest movie character of all time. I love that we don't even have to say it now. We don't even have to say it now. Bernie Mac in Mr. 3000. Too soon, Eddie. Too soon. What? No.
Is Tyler Durden from Fight Club. Oh, yeah. That's right. Character of all time. I think that's a great one. That's a pretty good one. I don't know if I'd go number one. Of all time. I don't know. Brian Mack was better in seven. Bigger than Darth Vader. 570-1053 is the phone number. You can call us. Bigger than Darth Vader. Come on. Calm down. I'm just saying. Tyler Durden. Totally different actor. Different one. Really? Because I got a fro, huh? And I'm big and I'm black, huh? Really? You got Sky's attention. That's right. Continue. No, it's not me. I don't know what you're talking about. It's P1 Natural Hustler. Sky's drooling like it's a ham drive-thru. Oh. Really drooling all over the place. Mike, I can't believe you. Of all days, Mike. Thanks a lot. Thanks a lot. I am in shock. Oh, no. Sky, are you okay? Thank you, Eddie. I'll recover. That's the worst. That is so bad. Quit pumping your fists, Eddie. That's so messed up. Ayo, what's going on? I don't know what you're talking about. I am not me. This is P1 Natural Hustler. Well, but when you say I'm not me. Yeah, it gives it away. Play along with it. Okay. But now that she's all skinny, what does he think about her? Yeah, Eddie, she's back in shape again. When did I say that? It was November 14, 2006. Mike's got it. Yeah, I know the exact thing. I daydream about her now all the time. There it is. I knew it. You're in love. That's right. Thank you for the call. Yeah, give him a second to start the daydream. Let's see. Mikey Show, last call. Bring us home. Hi, guys. Good morning. It's P1 Spartan. I just wanted to say that I love you. You guys had an awesome show, and I hate when Democrats complain about the economy.
