The show turned Boston Rob's prized Red Sox hair into a live fundraiser: listeners donated, Rady's Children's Hospital received half, and the crew fumbled with a Flowbee before shaving him while chasing a $1,000 Yankees-NY goal. Carrie Fisher joked about LSD and memory loss from shock therapy, while Tom Scotto argued that O.J. Simpson had been targeted in the Las Vegas memorabilia case even though he admitted O.J. acted foolishly. Ashley defeated Misty three cookies to two and three-quarters, and Mikey read Danny's tender holiday letter about 52 years of marriage to Esther. Other memorable stories included John Schneider's missing Christmas puppies, the Rod Blagojevich Senate-seat scandal, a severe Toys for Tots shortfall, and the crew's horrified replay of Corey Hill's UFC leg break.
What happened, in order
Yankees Hair for Charity
The crew challenged listeners to raise $1,000 so die-hard Red Sox fan Boston Rob would have a Yankees NY shaved into his hair, with half the money going to Rady's Children's Hospital.
Carrie Fisher's Treatments
Carrie Fisher joked that she ignored Cary Grant's warning about LSD and said electroconvulsive therapy helped her despite erasing four months of memory.
O.J.'s Best Friend
Tom Scotto defended O.J. Simpson as his best friend and argued that the Las Vegas memorabilia robbery had been engineered to trap him, while conceding that O.J. had acted foolishly.
The Flowbee Fiasco
Eddie's Flowbee initially only vacuumed Boston Rob's hair because it was not powered correctly, so the crew switched to clippers as listeners arrived with donations.
Stolen Christmas Puppies
John Schneider's stolen Cadillac Escalade was recovered, but the two Yorkie puppies he had bought his children for Christmas were still missing.
The Senate Seat Scandal
After joking about pronouncing Rod Blagojevich's name, the hosts debated whether the Illinois governor shopped Barack Obama's Senate seat himself or entertained offers from would-be buyers.
Christmas Cookie Showdown
Ashley treated her one-minute cookie race against Misty like a title fight and won by eating three cookies to Misty's two and three-quarters.
Danny's Holiday Letter
Mikey read his father Danny's first holiday letter, which celebrated 52 years with Esther, their children and grandchildren, and the couple still holding hands and declaring their love.
Toys for Tots Shortfall
Staff Sergeant Russ said San Diego's Toys for Tots operation was filling fewer than half its orders and especially needed gifts for preteens, teenagers, and toddlers.
The TiVo Backlog
Mikey, Sky, Eddie, and Sean compared the shows piling up on their recorders and debated whether a Slingbox and in-flight internet could finally make that backlog watchable.
Corey Hill's Leg Break
The crew watched Corey Hill's gruesome UFC leg break in slow motion and described Joe Rogan urgently shouting for the fight to be stopped.

Loses his little Goldilocks. Welcome to the show. It's 6.05. Hundreds of people showed up to a prayer service in Claremont last night for the family that died in the University City jet crash. Padres will most likely know today if the trade for Jake Peavy to the Cubs will happen. 570-1053. Text number 35253. We even have an answering machine. 858-715-1923. You can use that if you'd like to to hear from you. this morning from Zeth and Eddie that there was a pretty crazy UFC fight on last night. It was live. You too, Ash? You saw it too? They had this special fight for the troops. They did it in North Carolina right by Fort Bragg. It was a really cool thing. They were asking for donations for this Intrepid Foundation which helped soldiers.
come back from the war with traumatic brain injuries and stuff like that. It was a really cool event, but the fights were pretty gruesome. If you were a novice UFC watcher and watched that, man, good luck. Yes, this would not be a fight for Sky to see right before seeing a live event for the first time. I might traumatize her. There was, I'm going to put this medically, a fracture. Oh, my God. Is that right, Eddie? Was there a fracture? Yeah. A fracture. A snappage. A bit of a snappage. No, thank you. Now, I'm going to, now, was this one of those deals where it just sort of, was this a deal where it was a submission where a guy did not submit? Yeah. Yeah. A guy got caught in an arm bar and was not tapping out. And so the guy was like, okay. And right where the elbow meets, it went that way. Okay. That's not the way it's supposed to go, Eddie. That's the wrong way, Eddie. It's not the way it's supposed to go. It's supposed to go the other way. And the guy, like I was just talking to Zeth about it. I think he was in shock because the referee jumped right in and was like, you know, fight's over. Right. And the guy had a look on his face like, surprise. Like, why? What? Oh, my. Really?
That's nuts. So it was pretty grody. Then they showed a fight where this guy needed another guy in the forehead, and his forehead blew up to two times its size. That's not good either. Like a balloon. Like, I've never seen... I've seen knots, you know, where they are giant. They look like a second head, but this one was his entire forehead, and it, like, went out, like, two times its size. It's a balloon. It was pretty awesome. That's crazy. That's called the Peyton Manning. It is. That's what it's called. That's uncalled. Wait. I want to do. And then the main event. Oh, that was the main event. That was the appetizer. Here comes the entree. The main event, the guy got knocked out so bad that he went and did the stiffy, you know, stiff legs, stiff arms. Knocked. He got doubly knocked out. Yeah. He got doubly knocked out. He was kind of knocked out on his feet, and then the guy hit him again. Is that the thing where your brain is firing off neurons? You go, is it that? You mean like that? Joe Rogan was literally saying, watch him breathe, because he got hit once, and he went back, but he was still kind of balancing on his legs. But he was out, and Joe was like, watch how he's breathing. He didn't defend himself. And then he went, bam, knocked him again, just cold out. It was awesome. He was still on the mat.
being taken care of by doctors once the post-fight interview was done. Everything was still on the mat. He was still there. I think he's still there now. He may still be knocked out. It was pretty crazy. I just got an idea if we ever do a TV show. If we ever do a TV show we'll do the following sketch. I will be in a UFC fight with it'll be me and Sky. Okay? What? And Skye will, the bell will ring, she'll come up to me, she'll hit me, not very hard, and I will instantly go down to the mat and just tap this. As soon as she just taps me, I'll get down. And Eddie will be like my corner guy going, dude, you can't tap out. What are you doing? She didn't even do, you haven't even submitted. No, I'm done. I tap out. I'm done. I am very intimidating. That's all I can take. It is true. Because I would tap out before there's a submission going on. I'm done. You should throw that flinch move. Right. Okay. I'm done. Tap, tap, tap. Tap, tap, tap. 5701053 is the number. Oh, I'm glad I didn't watch that. It was awesome. So good. So good. What channel? Spike. Oh, man.
Oh, man. That is crazy. That would have traumatized me. It would have. I wouldn't have been able to go to Vegas. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Don't look at me with that smile. It was cool. It was really cool. Well, I was nervous because the first couple of fights were kind of duddy, and I was like, come on, man. Give me something. Yeah. So I was stoked. 570-1053 is our phone number and our text number. Oh, man. Our text number is 35253. So give us a call. Let's quickly go around the room, introduce everybody, and then we'll get this show on the road. I am Mikey. I'm the host of the show. I'm 38 years of age and have new facial hair. I'm going to tell you. And it's what I call the 70s Neil Sean. So it's not a goatee, you know, because the middle bottom is cut out. So it's the long.
Bars, you know, the long bars going down. Yeah. Good luck. Yeah. I just need an Afro and a Les Paul, and I'm good to go. Ready. My wife made these cookies last night, and I don't know what they are. I just know they taste good. Yum. I don't know what they are, though. In fact, I can't really tell what's in them. I'm not really sure if it's peanut butter. Is it peanut butter? Or is it ginger snap? Peanut nor? It might be peanut noir. It might be peanut noir. It could be. Yeah, you never know. Eddie is our producer and our sports guy. He is 35 years of age and is missing his first ever, right? Yeah. First ever pregame broadcast for the San Diego Chargers this weekend. He's never missed one. And it's going to be the first one. Are they going to have somebody fill in or what are they doing? I haven't heard. I don't know. I mean, what I suggested is Josh Rosenberg, is on Extra Sports. He does a show on Extra Sports, and he does our updates. I thought he would be a great replacement since he's there already. But I don't know. I don't know what they're going to do. Let's see. Sky is our news girl, and she's rocking the white headband. Hi. And I like it. Hi. She is a headband model. Okay. Not professionally. I know. Could be, but she does it right now on a novice level. Yes, for the cats. That's right. Yeah, they love it.
Have you got the harness yet for your obese cat? No. No, you have not. No, no. We planned to go the other day, but after my incident with the woman with the low riding pants, I had to go home for the day. And so I said, when we get back from Vegas, we're... There it is. You were traumatized. Well, I just had enough. We had already been shopping for a couple hours. And I was like, enough's enough, lady. That's right. I'm going home. Was the 911 operator confused? Sean is our sound effects guy. Hi. And he has little green headphones. And he wears them. They're little buds. Precious. It's like two little walnut shells on his ears painted neon green. They're not neon green. To me, they're like two robot boobs. Yes, they are. Like if a robot had boobs, that's what they'd look like. Yeah. It's like Doma Arigato. Yes. Mr. Roboto. Yes. Right there. Right there. Ashley is our assistant producer. It's a good look, bro. That's right. Screw you. Oh, no. Unfair. Friends.
Ashley is our assistant producer. She's 25 years of age and every Tuesday does a walk and talk. My wife asked me last night, she goes, how does Ashley stay so skinny? I said, she's doing that yoga all the time and she does walk and talks with Sky every week. And I've started running. And you're running now? I've started running. Yeah, Ashley does something, does cardio like every day almost. I have to. Well, she has to. I have to. She eats plates of cookies every day. I have to. Yes. I don't have a choice. She's in an eating competition later today. Yeah. On the show. Yeah. Eating Christmas cookies. Yeah. And by the way, the chick that is going up against me, like, we've been talking massive smacks with emails. Oh, wow. Like, big time. Like, she's like, can't wait to see you lose so you can cry. And I'm like, I will, but I'm not going to lose, so I'm not going to cry. Yeah. Might just cry anyway. I love it. Boston Rob. He's our Bostonian. You can tell because it's tattooed across his neck. Yep. Just in case you weren't sure. With my address in case I ever get lost. That's right. That'll be weird when he's in Vegas and he has the NY in his head and then he has a costume on his neck. That will be so strange. People are going to understand. I won't get it. No one's going to get it. He's Bostoned out today.
Boston hat, Fenway shirt. Oh, come on. Oh, look at that. Yeah, this is the one that the P1's got me. It's true. It's not going to help anything. But is that jinxing? No. That sounds like a Thursday. Good point. That's right. And then there's the artist formerly known as Sir Roosevelt Zethian Oates III, Junior Esquire, MD, DDS, President, and CEO. As seen on TV. Oh, yeah. He's our phone screener. And if you want to hear his lovely voice, you can call us right now. 570-1053. He loves to chat with you. That's right. He really does. He really is a chatty cat. He is. You can't get him to shut up. That's right. Let's see. Boston Rob is going to be getting his hair cut off today. Oh, I'm so excited. Can you believe it? It's a little off the top, right, Rob? That's it. A little off the sides. I would say, Eddie, it's going to be a little bit more than a little off the top. Well, here's the thing. We are going to cut his hair, but if we can raise $1,000, and we're going to be asking you at 7 o'clock to start cruising through the radio station, okay? In your car, and make a donation. Understand, Boston Rob, poor. When we're going to Vegas this weekend,
He's not going to be going out to dinner with us. He's not going to be doing any of that stuff. In fact, Boston Rob has very little money, period. He's got, he said, $18 in his checking account. Oh, wow. $19. Oh, my. Not anymore. $19. I got a 20 in my savings. That's what's in my savings account. $20. And 63 cents. That's right. I think I'm going to take that out today, and there's my betting money. Okay. Boston Rob. Betting money? Yeah. How about eating money, bro? Well, priorities. You can double that in like one shot. Thank you. In fact, just go up to a blackjack table, lay it all down. That's what I'm doing. You know me the best shot. I'm going to an $18 table. Oh my God. Well, Boston Rob, what we're going to do is if we can raise $1,000, he will allow us to shave NY in his head. You've been robbed. And he is a Boston Red Sox fan. He is a Boston Red Sox fan. Genetic. Yeah. Genetic. And so that'll be pretty rough on the boy. But we'll do it. That's hilarious. Half of everything we raise, we're going to give to Rady's Children's Hospital. So just know that it's not just for this goofball. It's going to go to a good cause to Rady's Children's Hospital.
Start doing this at 7 o'clock. People can cruise through and we'll be taking your donations. And listen, we already had a couple of P1s call up and tell us how much they were going to be given. Yeah. I hope they show up. Yeah, I hope they show up. Listen, if you were one of those people, come on. Come on and do it. Let's get this thing done. Money, money, money. That's right. Boston, Rob, and all of us are going to Las Vegas. Yeah. No. Not really. That's not exactly right. Old Windy City. Yeah. City by the bay. City of brotherly love. The hub. That's right. Motor City. Tomorrow morning, all of us will be broadcasting live from the Palms Resort and Casino.
I'm so excited. I am, too. I've heard about this thing, and I've heard about this place, and it's very, like, Hollywood, you know? Yeah. Hollywood. A lot of celebrities are attached to the palms. Yeah. A lot of the... Oh, go ahead, Skye. Well, I was just going to say I went on their website, and there's too much to do. Like, I have to make a schedule. I started making a schedule yesterday of the things I wanted. Oh, really? Oh, man. Well, there's cool things to do, people. Making a schedule. Nothing screams Vegas like a schedule. Like an itinerary. Let me check the itinerary. Alright, boo. 1.30. Gotta hit the mall. After that, a little jacuzzi. Oh, wow. Okay, never mind. Skye, what did you find? What are you up to? Well, there's three different night spots that I definitely want to check out. One is Moon, one is Ghost Bar, and one is Rain. Yeah, she's got to hit the bar because she's got that new book she's got. One casino plays bridge, and I will be going there. I don't think they'll let you in with slippers, though. Don't do it! Don't do it! We were kidding, and I apologize for me and Eddie. We're going to have a great time.
It's going to be fun. Continue on. Now you go. Sky, I want to know. Come on. You said you're going. You got three places. Well, and then Gina was talking about this great steakhouse they have called Nine. She's a big sales lady that's going with us. Yeah, she works here. She said there's reasonably priced things on the menu, like hamburger and stuff. So that sounds lovely. I don't know. I don't know. My brain is still processing that when it's kind of ringing it through over and over, like when you're trying to dry out stuff at the car wash and you put it through that. I just keep putting it through there. What was that? I was just asking Sky if she was going to get a little fly. Okay. It's her favorite. Simple question. One more time. Not quite there yet. P1 Jr.? Yes, good morning, Mikey Show. What's up, dude? Not too much. I'm the one that called in last week. Offered $100 to Boston Rob to cut his hair. And as long as you guys know, I'm on my way down this road. You are the man, dude. I love it. Nice. You are the man. No problem. I want to see that dirt bag with a bald head in it. Nice. I love it. It's a pretty sight. I love it. Thank you. So if we, because we've talked about going bald, but we've also talked about the New York thing. So if we get the $1,000, is he going to go completely bald and then have an NY left in hair?
I think so, yeah. Okay. Oh, wow. How else would... Well, I don't know. I initially envisioned it like we were going to shave NY in there. Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no. So we're going to do the reverse. I think it needs to be a hair NY. Okay, so all bald with a hair NY. Yeah. I like that. Don't forget P1s. If we raise 2,000, Skye is cutting her hair. No, that is not bad. That's amazing. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. That's right. Really reaching deep, Scott. Yeah, in fact, I think the words she used were G.I. Jane. I think that's actually the words that she used. Yeah, that's right. No, I'm good. Thank you. You know how cold it's going to be when we go to Vegas? Right. Do you know? Yeah, it's going to be 41 degrees, I think, isn't it? No, no, no, seriously. On the Weather Channel last night, it was like 38 there. Come on. And during the day, it was like hitting the 50s. Mountain biker, hang on, okay? Yeah, we'll see, like, a high of, like, probably it'll be around 59, 60 degrees in the daytime and then nighttime. Mountain biker, hang on just a second. It's going to be, like Rob said, like the high 30s. What a trip. So, Sky, make sure you bring a lot of hundreds to burn. Like hundreds to stay warm. Just that. Yes. All right. That was a long way to work, man. Oh, man. That was a process. Through the snow both ways. He got there. Yeah. And then he just, like, yeah.
You are so annoying. I'm so glad they're saving you. You burned hundreds. I burned hundreds to stay warm. See? Such a show off. It's like you made snow angels after you put it in the ground. I did it. I did it. There you go. Were you making money angels? Robert. Hey. Down, boy. Wow. Ashley went Robert on you, by the way. That means you did something bad. P1 Mountain Biker. What's up? What's up, Mikey? What's going on, dude? Not a whole lot. Just listening to the show. I love it. And yesterday, the irony of it all, showed up to work, and who stepped out of the Penske van was a FedEx guy delivering a package. Oh, yeah. We talked about that yesterday, about how a FedEx guy came to our house, but he was driving a Penske moving van. Well, at least you knew this time, right? So you knew it was all right. Yeah, exactly. I couldn't believe it. And it turned out it happens every year with the influx of... large packages due to this time of the year and stuff so yeah i think that a few years back it probably wouldn't have uh you know i'm it probably would have put up some radar for us but not as much i think that the economy has there's been an increase in crime with the economy and there's been just like you know well and this time of year in general is always the height of crime because people need to get presents for their loved ones too it's safety yeah
There it is. All right, Mountain Biker, we appreciate it, brother. All right, man. Have a good day. Love the show. All right, we'll see you. Let's see. 570-1053. Open phones. You can call us about anything you want. And we do that at the beginning of the show and the end of the show. Sky, I want to ask you about this. Yeah. Deftones bassist Chi, who is in a coma. What's his status? Well, unfortunately, he is still in a coma. Yeah. Yeah. Up in Northern California after he was in a car accident there. So he has now been moved to another hospital. Gosh, it's been over a month already. He's been in the coma. So he has been moved from the intensive care unit that he was in to a brain rehabilitation hospital in Northern California. I guess that hospital. specializes in traumatic related brain injuries and has, you know, all the highly skilled doctors and nurses that you need for that kind of stuff. So on their website, they say, you know, please continue to pray for our brother and thank you for all your love and support. Yeah. Let's see. Eddie Heisman Trophy finalists. Yep. We've got them. Yep. Who we got? Well, they named three finalists.
Well, I can actually play you the announcement that they have. Sean, you got that? Yep, here we go. On the basis of information provided to us by Deloitte and Touche, it's my privilege to announce the players who are invited to New York, where one will be receiving the 74th winner of the Heisman Trophy this Saturday night. In alphabetical order, the Heisman Trust invites Sam Bradford, University of Oklahoma, Colt McCoy, University of Texas, and Tim Tebow, University of Florida. All quarterbacks, and Tebow is going for his second Heisman in a row. Dude, I like that song that they wrote about him. Yeah, dude. Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, Tebow. Must be quite an honor to have a Filipino rap song. For a white kid. Yeah, I mean, serious. Let's see.
Text message is for the Oracle. Oracle, have you ever seen a guy eat so many knees in one fight before? Let's be one fight, Lo. Not in a row like that. I mean, I remember when Anderson Silva fought Rich Franklin. I mean, he laid him out with several knees that moved his nose to the other side of his face, which was pretty cool. But this one was just a multitude of just rapid-fire knees, and one of them connected really good on his forehead. was terrific, the aftermath. Wow. It was like when you were doing the slam dunk contest against Rob, all the ones that he took to the forehead. He took a lot of your knees to his forehead. I'm true. Hey, guys, what is the name of the intro song you guys use? That's P1 Jerza, and that is called The Ecstasy of Gold. It's an instrumental from the movie The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, and it's very rousing. Mikey, the Padres could actually act like they care about having a competitive team and keep Jake Peavy. That'd be nice, wouldn't it? That's P1 Blackzilla. They may have to. They can't trade him. He's still going to be on the team. How fun is that going to be? Why can't they trade him? That's a good question. I don't know what the problem is. First of all, Jake has a say in where he wants to go.
and there's only a few teams that he's willing even to be traded to. And so I think that's part of the problem. The one team that they were really trying to trade him to, Atlanta, that fell through, and they ended up trading for somebody else. And now the Cubs, I think they're trying to lowball the Padres and who they want to give them and things like that. So it's just a big mess. The Padres. They're real good. Mikey, thanks to you guys yesterday, I had to go and watch The Unforgiven. That's P1 Concrete Cowboy. I felt bad for Sean yesterday. He played a clip that had a curse word in it, and I thought he was going to pass out. He was calling Sky, texting me, like, hey, I'm so sorry. I'm such an idiot. And we had the delay going, so we were able to hit the button. I didn't know, though, and I don't know. I don't know. He was really freaking out. With the economy and everything right now, I'm just like... Oh, get out of here with that. Really? I feel you, bro. I'm being honest. I'm just being honest. Yeah, please. I feel you. Dude, if that were a thing, I'd have been fired eight months ago. Yeah, that is true. That's a true statement, actually. Mike! 570-1053 is the phone number. Our text number is 35253. Thanks, Mike. What? I'm trying to be supportive that you said something.
We're making ha-has here. Thanks for bringing a bazooka. My goodness. Oh, my. 30 minutes from now, Boston Rob will be outside. 30 minutes from now? That's right. Good day, Mike. Boston Rob will be getting his hairs cut. Getting his hairs dead. It's going to be fantastic. And it looks awesome. I was looking at it yesterday in the mirror. Your hair? Oh, yeah, dude. Okay. Look at how it, like, flares out of his hat. Yeah, how it flips up over the sides of the hat. It's getting to the point where I can kind of... Feather it? Is that what you want to say? Feather it? A little Farrah Fawcett? Yes. Sorry, I'm drunk. 5701053 is our phone number.
Our text number is 35253. We will be broadcasting live from Las Vegas, Nevada tomorrow morning. Oh, yeah, the Sunshine State. That's right. So we hope that you are tuning in. And if you want to and you get a crazy hair, drive up there. Drive up there. Do it. Yeah. And we're also going to be cutting Boston Rob's hair, as I said. And we'll be doing the Ashley Eating Contest. She'll be eating. against another female P1 and she'll be eating Christmas cookies. You should be fantastic. Also, before the hour is over, we will be talking to O.J. Simpson's best friend, Tom Scotto. What? The best man in his wedding. Whoa. And honestly, I think it'd be great to have Tom on and say, Tom, can we do it for you? You know, because obviously, you know, Tom's people are booking him on radio programs. And, you know, exactly. So, Tom, what do you got to say? You know what I mean? Stephen Wright. Stephen Wright's in the stand-up spotlight. Show stand-up spotlight. 105.3. I'm going to look at a star. It may not even be there anymore because it takes so long for the light to get from there to here. It may be gone. It just looks like it's still there.

Just wanted to let you know that AIS is an insurance company that you could be calling that could be helping you out, especially during the holiday season when you don't want to be putting out extra money. I saved $1,600 a year when I switched to AIS. Austin Rob saved $1,400 a year by switching to AIS. P1 Johnny saved $700 a year. P1 Arturo Fuentes, $2,000 a year. These are real figures from real listeners and my own personal story. And I've told my family about AIS, got my family to switch, neighbors, anybody that will listen, I'm telling them, you got to call AIS and spend at least 10 minutes on the phone with them to get a quote. Because the bottom line is, is that if they don't save you money, that's fine. You move on. But if they do, they do all the work for you. You don't have to call your insurance company and cancel or do any of that stuff. All of a sudden, the check just starts coming in or the bill starts coming in for much less than you're paying now. And who wouldn't want to do that? Their phone number, 1-800-777-4AIS. Hi, folks. We're on the streets of... Move your car!
New York City talking to people about Corona Light, the only light beer that's also a Corona. Excuse me, sir. Do I know you? I don't believe so. But I was just wondering, what does the statement Corona Light, the only light beer that's also a Corona, mean to you? Who's asking? Oh, we're just looking to talk to people about Corona Light. You're going to put this on the email. What? You're going to make me look like an idiot. No, I promise we won't. Right. What's the scam? If you're pulling a scam on me, I will find you. There's no scam, sir. I'm just asking how you feel about Corona Light. Well, it's not the like. That's that whole laid-back beach thing and a light beer. You know, it's the only light beer that's also a Corona. You should know that. I mean, you're standing there in a Corona t-shirt with a bag of lemons. Lime, sir. Whatever. Who's that? That's just Phil. He does the recording. If this is a scam, I will find you. I'm sure you will, sir. Corona Light is the only light beer that's also a Corona because it has the same refreshing, ready-for-the-beach taste. It's imported by Crown Imports, Chicago, Illinois. Relax responsibly. Am I getting paid for this? No. Can I have a lemon? Lime. You're gonna get a smack. Okay. So I'm on my way to work, and I hear the siren call of the coffee maker. So I pull into an Extra Mile store, and I'm thinking, a lesser man wouldn't have stopped for a cup of Van Hoot coffee. A lesser man would have settled for that swill at work. The world does not need lesser men. Hit Extra Mile for a 20-ounce cup of Van Hoot coffee. Just 99 cents till December 31st at participating stores. Need it now? And how? Extra Mile stores, exclusively at select Chevron locations.

Subway, eat fresh. Eddie went to Sleep Train and got himself all dialed in. What'd you get, Eddie? I got one of them Seelies. Nice. Great. I love it. It kind of forms to your body, which I didn't realize. So you find a comfortable spot, you're good. Oh, dude. And Sleep Train is so cool that we bought a new... Like bedroom set. Yeah. And the frame of the bedroom set is real high. Yeah. And so when you put the box spring and the mattress on there, it was like gigantic. Yeah. So the way the furniture set is set up, that it doesn't need a box spring. Right. So we just had the mattress laid in there. I'm like, well, now what am I going to do with this box spring? Right. I called up Sleep Train and said, hey, listen, I don't need the box spring anymore. What do I do with this thing? And they're like, oh, we'll come out and we'll pick it up and we'll give you a credit for it. Oh, my God.
my dude you guys are amazing and they did yeah they're going to pick it up tomorrow dude that's awesome listen there's no other place to go other than sleep train you heard eddie i sleep on one uh so go into a sleep train they'll beat anybody else's price by five percent sleep trains your ticket to a better night's sleep or of the mikey show featuring mikey the show members refer to me as momento because i can't remember anything eddie i feel like i'm a responsible guy sky i am I'm a social eater. Sean. I like it when the Indian dude at the convenience store calls me boss. Boston Rob. I have a claim to be a genius. And Ashley. I can't even imagine my life without water. 105.3. Is that the boys to men deal or is that not the boys to men deal? I don't even know. I think it's 98 degrees. It could be. It's right within that range. Either way, it's velvety. Oh, yeah. Welcome back. It's 639. The head honcho over at CBS is calling out Jay Leno, saying that he will put money on it, that CBS will beat Leno in the ratings in the new 10 p.m. time slot. The Aztecs didn't have enough firepower to beat Arizona last night, losing 69 to 56, and USD lost to New Mexico 57 to 54. Military approved some money for the family of the jet crash victims, which I think is good.
I was so happy to hear that because yesterday on the news they were talking about how this guy was taking donations because he didn't have enough money for, like, the funerals. Yeah. Are you kidding? I know. And, like, NBC739, when I was watching their news yesterday, was saying, hey, we set up a link for people to donate, blah, blah, blah. But then when I got in this morning, the military approved emergency funding for this guy, for his family. So, you know, he can bury them and take care of necessities. That is good. So, yeah, I mean, that's kind of the least that can happen. Thank you. That's what I was thinking. Senators are wanting a very quick investigation into the crash. Yeah. Senator Barbara Boxer, as well as Dianne Feinstein, wrote a joint letter asking the Marines for a quick and complete investigation into the crash and also to make the results public. Previously in the week, like right after it happened, Republican Duncan Hunter, who's here in San Diego, he was calling on the Marines to release all the maintenance records of the FAA-18 Hornet fighters to show how they had been maintained and what kind of problems had been documented and what's going on with the whole fleet of them.
Our phone number, 570-1053. Before 7 a.m. this morning, we're going to be talking to OJ Simpsons, and I say it with finger quotes, best friend. That's what he calls himself. He says what we do know is that he was his best man in OJ's wedding. The other way around. OJ was his best man. OJ was his best man in his wedding. And so we will be talking to him and asking him, what's up? What do you got on your mind? Hey, what's up? Yeah. And so that's coming up. Also, we invite you to get ready to come down and make a donation. Here, I'll even get you in the Christmas spirit. Some Christmas stuff in the background here for you. Going to get you in the Christmas spirit to come down and donate to our charity, Boston Rob. It's a charity case we know. That's right. And also... You're going to be donating into Rady's Children's Hospital. Half of the proceeds are going to go to Rady's Children's Hospital. Yes, please. So we will do this just after 7 a.m. Has anybody ever heard this? I don't think so. I never have. It's very obviously Sinatra, but I've never heard Mistletoe and Holly.
I heard a song that I know you would like. I don't know if we have. What? I heard Elliot Yameen, your boy, sing This Christmas. Yeah, dude. Which I was like, wow, Mike would love that. Dude, it is so, so good. What the heck, Yameen? We definitely have it. Oh, dude, it's good. He's got another CD out, too, right? Does he really? When I was at Best Buy the other day, yeah. Seriously through the Y's. That's right. I was looking for the new Yes album. Yes was sold out. What do you spell? Yankovich? That's where I get a lot of my inspiration. I pay with my new five-finger credit card. I'll take this one. Oh, dang it, it's Elliot Yamee. 570-1053 is the phone number. Our text number is 35253. And you can text us if you want to, too. The texts are still coming in. Oracle, how about that knockout Josh Koscheck had last night? Amazing. Yeah, that's the stiffy.
Stiffy won. That was the main event. Also, who does the Oracle think will win versus Penn State versus Penn and St. Pierre? UCLA! BJ Penn versus George St. Pierre. That is going to happen Super Bowl weekend. So, big fight. That's a good question. The first time they fought, George St. Pierre got the victory. And I think... A lot of people are saying BJ is going to whip him, and I disagree. I think St. Pierre actually has his head together, and I think he's going to win it. He's got the size advantage. You know, BJ's sick, but George is kind of sick, too. So it should be a great fight, fight of the year. Mikey, how much to get Sky to shave the word ham into her head? I'll do it for free. Sky. Tattoo it on my throat. That is the most ridiculous thing ever. 20,400, by the way, is the number. Money, money, money, money, money, money, money. Money, money, money. 570-1053 is our phone number. After all the hoopla that was involved over Pac-Man Jones coming back to the Dallas Cowboys, what is the latest, Eddie? Well, he is most likely going to miss the rest of the season, but not for...
any disciplinary thing, he's actually injured. Really? In his first game back against the Steelers last week, while returning to kickoff, he got hurt, hurt his neck, and so it looks like he's probably going to miss the rest of the year, so all that for nothing. Wow. Tyra Banks asked Ludacris the important questions. Cut 14. Boxers or briefs? Ma'am, I'm briefs. Briefs? Yeah, yeah. Okay. I used to be boxers, and I'm getting a little older. You know what I'm saying? I got to contain. I got to contain, you know, what's going on. Okay, is it the brief that's the, like, the Superman type? No, it's not the Superman brief. It's the long briefs, Tyra. Those are the sexiest underwear in the world. The boxer brief is hot. I'm glad you like them. They're hot. I'm glad you like them, for sure. Eddie, you rolled boxer briefs, right? Tyra thinks that's the hottest thing in the world. Oh, well, don't I feel lucky?
I go both. I will do boxers and briefs. At the same time? Yes. Good for you. The weird thing is, boxers first, then the briefs over them. What other way is there to go? Does any guy wear actual briefs? Like brief briefs? Yeah. Yeah, I do. I'll wear them sometimes. I'll wear boxers. I actually have boxers, boxer briefs, and briefs. I thought briefs were like for... Grandpas. Really? I don't know. Growing up, that's what you wear because that's what mom supplies. Moms do not supply. Like little kids and grandpas. Yeah, and 38-year-old men with shaved heads. What determines what you wear? Oh, for me, it is dressed. This is so weird. If I'm dressed up, must be briefs for some reason. You're very mature. You don't want your panty line to show. No, I don't want my panty line to show. And I feel like briefs are more distinguished and mature, you know? And when I roll boxers, it's a casual situation. You know what I mean? Loosey-goosey. Yeah, the loosey-goosey situation. Eddie, you're always boxer briefs, right? Always, yeah. Rob? Boxer briefs. But I got a mixture of whatever, you know? Yeah.
Whatever I stole. I have boxers and boxer briefs, but... Whatever I can... Sloppy thong, whatever. Whatever's out of Salvation Army that day. Whatever I can fit in my coat at Kohl's. Sean, what do you do? I gotta roll briefs all the time. I have containment issues. Briefs only. Yeah. Briefs only. Containment issues. Yeah. It's a really strange couple of words put together. It really is. Well, I mean, you know, it's just a mental thing, you know. It's like I got to, you know. They're very oblong. I was just thinking that. I didn't want to say anything like that. They are. Just containment, all right? T-H-E-Y apostrophe R-E. It wasn't me. Zethian Oates. Boxer briefs. Only? Yeah. Now listen, I guess I like variety. Variety is a spice of life. That's right. Let's see. So Carrie Fisher, we all know who Carrie Fisher is. Oh yes. Eddie, she was. She's Princess Leia. Princess Leia. And she was on the Today Show yesterday with Matt Lauer. That was her. That was her. And she was discussing her past. Cut 12.
You started to experiment with drugs at a pretty young age. I think experiment with drugs is hilarious. I ran out of a lab with beakers. Yeah, go ahead. Okay. You actually started doing drugs at a young age. You tried acid, LSD. Your mom finds out about it. She's concerned. So who does she pick up the phone? She does what any mother would do. She calls Cary Grant. And has him talk to you. Cary Grant at the time experimented with LSD with a doctor. Yes. We all knew it. I love Cary Grant. I always imagine, how do you experiment with acid with a doctor? Do you wear, like, a hospital gown? Does he do it, too? Are you in the office? I mean... What did he say to you on the phone? It's hysterical. Don't use acid? That was it? Simple? Don't eat acid. And did you say, because it's Cary Grant, I have to listen to him? No, I kept eating acid. Oh, there it is. Oh, wow. I don't know when she thought she turned into a stand-up comic. I know. She's like Robin Williams. Yeah. She's doing acid. Yes. It's like rapid-fire comedy. Yeah. That's really good. Yeah. Did you guys know that she did shock therapy? I think I did hear that. I think she still does shock therapy. Yeah, I was going to say, what is it really? Like, what is it? I mean, what, do they hook you up to a car battery or something? Yes, they tase you and put your feet in water. Yeah, I mean, what is it? They put you in a bathtub and throw a toaster in. That is shock therapy. Cut 13. You've tried a lot of things in terms of treatment, and one of the things I read, you tried electroconvulsive therapy.
Loved it. Alias for. Loved it. Loved it. That's shock therapy. You're kidding. They didn't tell me that. So why do you love it? I'm enraged. Because it worked. How did you feel immediately afterward? Oh, totally confused and blown away. Electric. Yes, it was electric. I had it done three times a week for three weeks. Lost four months of memory. But come on, Matt. What's going to happen in four months at my age that's going to happen in another four months? You lost the immediate four months of memory? You didn't lose memory from the past. I lost entire humans. But, you know, maybe they weren't that big of a deal. How weird is that? At this particular instant? At this moment. I'll probably leave it. No, no, no. I am feeling well, yes. Ow. I'm fine, Connie. Oh, my gosh. So weird. Thank you, Greedo. Yeah. What am I doing here? Where's Tatooine? Gonna go take some more LSD with Chewbacca. That's right. Oh my gosh. Hey, guess what? What? On the inside line, we have OJ Simpson's best friend, Tom Scotto. Wow. Tom, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. How you doing, guys? Good. How are you, Tom? I'm hanging in there. Yeah. Tom is OJ Simpson's best friend. And OJ was his best man.
At his wedding in September. I know this is a strange question, Tom, but how did we not know that you were OJ's best friend? When my producer came to me and said that he wanted to have Tom Scotto on the phone, I said, who is Tom Scotto? And he had to tell me, well, he says he's OJ's best friend. Well, I think anybody who pretty much followed the trial knows who I was. I've been on every talk show, every news channel in the country at least ten times. What is it that the defense thought that you would be great at saying to a judge and a jury?
Now, this is interesting because we were kind of discussing this here on the show. We were sort of wondering, you know, like in terms of that stuff, that memorabilia that O.J. was going to retrieve. And Tom, you're saying you were a part of that, a part of that thinking that up? And did you go? Did you do that because you were sort of like, you know what, this doesn't seem like such a...
I wouldn't have went for that reason, and I would have sat on O.J. not to go. In terms of the stuff being stolen, how does that work? One of the things that we're talking about, is this true or not, was the Heisman Trophy, or is that not true? Not true. It was mostly family photos, pictures of his kids in the Oval Office, pictures of O.J. with J. Edgar Hoover. I mean, they were family mementos. It's not like he had O.J. jerseys. And the folks that had this stuff, do you suppose that they stole it themselves or they bought it from someone that had stolen it and they planned on selling it?
Hey, Tom, a lot of the names we're hearing for the first time, because if you didn't follow the case really closely, you're kind of hearing these names for the first time. So the names that you're mentioning are people that were in the hotel room when O.J. went in there. And by the way, before they called the police to see how much they can get for it, he never got out. Tom, how did you meet O.J.? We met at a Roy Jones fight about nine or ten years ago. I'm thinking, you know, if I ran into O.J. Simpson at a Roy Jones fight, we probably wouldn't have ended up friends. How did you guys end up hitting it off to the, you know, what do you do that O.J. was like, yeah, we got something in common here? Well, you know, we're talking to him. You just click. That's the way it was with us. I mean, we've met. We've been best friends ever since. He only got along with me. He's a really good guy. He's not a bad guy. He's just... And he was the best man in your wedding. And, Tom, here's the big question. Why are you on...
The air with us. Why are you doing these interviews? My publicist asked me if I would do it. I told her, yeah. I have a literary agent. He thought it was a good idea. The rise and fall of a legend. I love OJ's book. It's a trailer about OJ's life and what really happened behind the scenes that people don't know. I have his family behind me. A great book. I really think that there's a lesson to be learned here. Society judges people to redemption. It's really going to be a really great book. It's not just an I love OJ book. It's about his life since the... You feel O.J. Simpson was targeted in Vegas, yeah. Targeted. I mean, Mike Riccio is the person who set this up. He went to the FBI three weeks before and pitched it. Obviously, he was trying to set up something. He wasn't just trying to be a good Samaritan and hope O.J. get his stuff back. How did you know that he had done that? I forget exactly, but something just popped in my head, and I called up Linda Deutsch from the AP in Vegas, and I said, Hey, Linda, this is what I think happened. Can you check it out? What made you think that happened?
What made you think that? When is the last time you talked to OJ Simpson? What did he say? Eddie has a question. Yeah, if you say that, you know, you and your buddies and OJ and his buddies were just going over to pick stuff up, why did they have guns? These two guys, Michael McClinton and Walter Alexander, were not supposed to go. They only went last minute because we were running late. Security, which already his whole life that carries. He shot and crippled somebody for the rest of their lives. He got four months probation. 33 years. How can you control security guard what they do? And these guys were people that are on payroll by Simpson as security experts? Yes. Well, not on payroll, but he hired them that day to go as security.
occasion to be security. I guess I can see how that can get very clouded. Yeah, it's, you know, and then, you know, these two guys that were gunmen, they get a deal for probation. It just doesn't make any sense to me. It's just so obvious that it was all about just getting OJ. Not to say he didn't do something wrong. I believe he did something wrong. Hey, Tom, you say that, you know, OJ hired security for this particular incident. Did he go through a security service in Las Vegas? No, these are that had license to carry guns that was security guards. So they were in Vegas. He called them. He thought that Stewart wasn't going to make it. Who's C.J. Stewart? Yeah. Who is that? C.J. Stewart is the left out defendant here who was actually in jail. Yeah, he was the other guy who was sentenced on the same day. Got it, got it, got it. Talk about a raw deal. This guy really got a raw deal. He had to help a buddy, and now he's the only one who didn't roll. Now he's in jail next to O.J.
Sky's got a question. So, you know, your understanding of the event, did O.J. feel physically threatened? Because I'm wondering why the gun was pulled in the first place. Well, this is my theory, and I think it's the correct one. Gunmen went out, when they found out they were going to go with O.J., they went out and bought an audio recorder, a hammer that goes in their belt. The theory is they went into the room, get on tape, and then sell it to TMZ for a million dollars, a million dollars for it, but the hammer didn't work. And these are O.J.'s friends? People he knows, yeah. Wow, shady. Shady, yeah, yeah. So it was people that he trusted to be security for him, but what they were actually doing is setting him up? I mean, who runs out and buys a tape and a camera? Let's face it, it was a very thing for OJ to do. I'm not saying he was thinking straight, because he wasn't. You know, in hindsight, it was ridiculous. He's made a lot of mistakes in his life, there's no doubt. I mean, everybody knows, but there's a lot, lot more than... Tom Scotto.
Listen, thank you for coming on the show. You're working on a book and getting your name out there. And he was, O.J. Simpson was best man at your wedding. And does he refer to you as his best friend? He does. Tom? He's actually the only friend. I mean, who else was next to him? No other person that he associates with always makes deals to turn against him. Besides from A.C. Cowlings, a friend that he can actually trust. not going to turn on them. It's the truth. What it is, it is. That's the way it works. That is Tom Scotto. Tom, thank you for coming on the Mikey Show. You're welcome. Thanks, guys. We appreciate it. It's Tom Scotto, and I guess you make up your own mind. You hear it and figure out what you think. I'm going to call him my BFF. This is the Mikey Show. Get downloads and podcasts at rock1053.com.

And so far, we're looking pretty nice out of the South Bay, but the 5 and the 805 northbound looking good up through National City. The 805 does get you, though, right through North Park and then minor delay over the 52. And watch for a heavy backup on the bridge getting into Coronado coming off the 5 freeway this morning. I'm Rick Lawrence on Rock 105.3. Shut up. San Diego's Rock. Mikey, moment. Oh, hey, guys. It's Dr. Wayne. What?
It's strange that you're calling in right now, Dr. Wayne. Why is it strange I'm calling in? I was just listening to you guys talk about what you're talking about here on the radio and everything. Hey, guys, now that I have you on the phone, you don't think I'm gay, do you? I'm not. Just so you guys know, I'm not. It's all just a big, goofy, funny mistake. I thought today was called A Day Without a Bree Hay is what I thought it was called. You guys are my Bree Hayes, aren't you? You guys, my Brie Hayes. Anyone up for a cuddle fight with a side of denim cutoffs? Mikey Show on The Rock. Five, three. Yeah. It's the Mikey Show. Vegas Eve. It's Vegas Eve. Tomorrow we'll be broadcasting live from the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. It is 7-16. Three people have been arrested in connection to the elderly La Mesa woman who was kidnapped from her home, beaten, and kept in her car for two days without food or water. Okay, now, Eddie is outside. He is outside with Boston Rob, and we are now open for donations. Oh, my gosh. We are now open for donations. So, if you would like to donate to, we have, basically, we have two causes going on today. Yes. We have, well, we've got Boston Rob and him having just a tiny bit of money.
to be able to take with him to Las Vegas. You've been robbed. Half of the proceeds are going to go to Rady's Children's Hospital. Now you can come down here and you can donate a dollar, two dollars, five dollars, ten dollars, or whatever you want. And we got a guy, by the way, who called and said that he would come down and donate a hundred dollars. Whom is on his way now? Let's go to Eddie outside. Eddie? Broadcasting live from a makeshift barbershop outside. Yes. With the victim, Boston Rob. Yes. Now, Eddie, what are we looking at? We got a little setup going on out there? We got a great little drive-thru. We are on the back side of the radio station. So if you pull into the radio station, which is 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, you want to pull into the back. And we have a drive-thru. You can either park and stop and watch, or if you're headed to work and just want to donate, you can swing it by, and we will take your donation. Now, the fantastic thing is that the way that we've set this up is it's right outside of our broadcast studio windows. You guys will be able to see everything. We have a barber's chair where Rob will be able to sit in. We just got a vacuum to UT Floby, so we will have a Floby.
to, you know, style it. I think we want Rob to look tight. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. Nothing says style like Flobee. That is correct. I agree. That is correct. Now, here is what is fantastic about the Flobee. The Flobee is a little-used device anymore. Yeah, it's really underused, in my opinion. It's so underused. What it is, is it's an attachment that goes on the end of your... vacuum cleaner. And the way that the Flobie works is it uses suction from the vacuum and then cuts the hair. Now, the only problem with the Flobie, of course, is that you can't do any styling. It's all one length because it's a Flobie. Well, it's very limited. Well, but it's a style unto itself. It is. Let's be honest. It is a style unto itself. And for those of you that don't know, Boston Rob fancies his hair. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he didn't want to cut it. And it's taken a lot to get us to the point where he'll even sort of think about it. The only reason that he did is because, well, basically we said money was involved. Yeah, he wanted to eat when we go to Vegas. That is true. And so if you love Boston Rob as much as we do. We do. And you love Rady's Children's Hospital.
By all means, we are at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, and you can come down here, and I'll even pop out there in a second and say hello. What we're looking for here is for people to drive through into the radio station, go to the back, and as you are coming around to the back, just turn to the left, and you'll see our broadcast tent set up and ready for donations. Eddie, have we had anybody come by yet? Yes, Rob is already kind of upset. Why? Because we have a total grand total right now of $60. $60. Uh-oh. $60. Well, I have said this. Yeah. We will not. Now, Boston Rob, of course, biggest Red Sox fan I've ever met. Yeah. Anytime we've done anything that involves the Yankees, he is a wimp about it. Yeah. But we have said that if we raise $1,000, we will shave. An N-Y into his head. How big we talking here, Mike? How big we talking with the N and the Y and the side of his head? How big are we talking here? Well, I'd like it to light up the strip. Yeah. I'd like it to light up the strip. The Las Vegas strip. The sunset strip, too. Both. Really any strip. I like both. So it's got to be big. And one way or another, that hair is coming off.
Yeah, and so what we would like you to do is stop by right now, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive, and take part in this with us. We'd like to see you come down here and take part in the haircutting. It's going to be a haircutting ceremony. Really, yeah. It's very special today. Right now, Rob can buy one rib. Eddie said it yesterday. It's where his power comes from. It's where his power comes from. Come on down here and donate. Like I said, half it goes to Rady's Children's Hospital. And it's just a way for us to get involved in two charities at the same time. Oh, yeah. Which would be great. So you can see us all set up in the back of the radio station. We're inviting everybody down here right now. Come on down. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. We're broadcasting from Vegas tomorrow morning. The big grand finale of UFC Ultimate Fighter 8 is this weekend in Las Vegas. And it's going to be a blast. Today, Ashley will be doing her eating competition on the air. You can see all of this at MikeyShow.com if you'd like to. So go there and check it out. When we come back, I want to tell you about this. Matt Lauer is going to have another crack at Tom Cruise. They got into a fight the last time. And I will tell you when it's going to air next. This is the Mikey Show. So you're the guy who pooped in my tuba. His charm is so contagious.

Featuring Mikey. I, uh, lose attention. My attention is... Okay. I'm trying to figure this out as we go. I'll tell you why. Well, I'm not very good at operating the controls, I'll be honest with you. Welcome back. It's the Mikey Show. It is... 727. Well, this is pretty cool. Deal or no deal host Howie Mandel...
will be downtown today helping NBC739 with their Toys for Tots drive. So yeah, if you're a fan of Howie, go out, say hi, donate a toy. That's pretty cool. Yeah, right? So we have people showing up and donating money right now outside. We are raising money for two causes. One is Boston Rob and the other is Rady's Children's Hospital. Both very needy. Absolutely. So come on down to 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. And if you want to see that hair come off, give us a call right now. In fact, we're going to do a little bit of it. First, though, Sky, tell us about when this Matt Lauer, Tom Cruise interview is going to air. Oh, this is going to be delish.
So we all remember a few years ago when Matt Lauer interviewed Tom Cruise and they started talking about pharmaceutical drugs and Tom Cruise started yelling at Matt Lauer, calling him names. So they are going to sit down again. Tom Cruise is doing a bunch of publicity for his new movie and he agreed to sit down with Matt Lauer and it will be Monday on the Today Show. Really? And according to the press release, they'll be talking about his upcoming movie. They'll also talk about his wife, Katie Holmes, and his three children. Really? Yeah. So we'll see how that goes. That's going to be fantastic. Oh, I hope Lauer gets them. Eddie, are you there? Yes. Okay. So we are right in back of our studios. In fact, we can see from our studios outside to where this big canopy is set up. where we have people coming by and giving donations. And are we ready to do a little bit of something with his hair? Absolutely. Oh, no. Are we ready to flow be? Oh, yeah. We have a back.
You have to have a vacuum to use a Flowbee. Well, yeah, of course. It's a classy instrument. Yes, it is. Which is pretty fantastic. And I'm going to switch places. Hang on a second. I'm going to go around to the other microphone so I can actually see this. I mean, I'm kind of surprised that they haven't improved on the Flowbee. Really? And they have like an attachment. Yeah. It's like a mini vacuum that you can get with the Flowbee. Right. You know what I mean? Like an all one piece. Yeah, a Flowbee all in one. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Rob looks like he's going to cry. That's what I was just going to say. Why does he have to look so miserable? He looks like he's going to cry. Do you want to talk to him? Yes, I would. There you go. Why so dour? Why so dour? I don't know what dour means. Okay. Why do you look so downtrodden? Because, dude, this stinks. Oh, come on now. We're going to Vegas. Can you see this lovely mane I have out of here? He's such a baby. Gosh. You know, that's kind of the beauty of this is that he really does like that. Oh, he loves his hair right now. He's proud of it. He's proud of it. I love it. I take it on Sunday walks. Yeah. What? Hey, Rob.
Hey, I got a question real quick. Does Sky want to come and touch it or run a hand through it before we get rid of this thing? Yes, Sky. No, thank you. No, I'm good, but thank you for the offer. Hey, Rob, I have a question. Yeah. Is it at all discouraging that there's not one car back there right now? Oh, it's horrible. Where are those people that were, oh, I'll bet this, oh, I'll bet that. Well, I'm calling you out. I called you bluff. Now get back here. There's somebody. I see a car. I see a car. I called your bluff. I see a car. I hope. Maybe they work here, though. Yeah, it could be. They're looking for a parking spot. Yeah, they're looking for a parking spot. Oh, they found a parking spot. That's the secretary of downstairs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come down here. Maybe if you weren't such a baby, people would be more into it. Rob. Oh, really? He stopped whining for one second. Hey, if anybody wants to call us, by the way, 570-1053. Yeah, dude. We just got a donation for $100. Nice! Oh, my gosh. Who is that? Who is that? Let's talk to him. Can we talk to you? Yeah, let me talk to him. That is very nice. And he's wearing... Dropkick Murphys. Oh, no. He's wearing a Dropkick Murphys t-shirt. Let's talk to him. This is interesting. Hey, brother, what's your name?
F1 Junior. Junior. Oh, there he is. You just donated $100, bro. I sure did. Dude, that is so cool of you. And, you know, the cool thing is, is that half of this is going to go to Rady's Children's Hospital. You know what we should do? What? We should get the general manager of the radio station on the line and make him commit to matching. Oh. Oh, I love you and your ideas. Yeah, you know, pressure him. Oh, guilt. Yeah, guilt. I mean, he'll look like a total jerk in front of the whole city if he doesn't. If he doesn't do it, you know what I mean? Okay, Junior, let me talk to Eddie real quick, and thank you very much, bro. Hey, no problem, guys. You're welcome. All right, cool. That's cool. Eddie, what do you think? Should we fire up the Flobee? Yeah, let's fire up the Flobee. The Flobee device, it's yellow. It's got little blades in it. It's connected to a vacuum right now. How does that sucker work, Eddie? Oh, wow, he's got it on. Listen to that. Listen to the power of the Flobee. Oh, wait a second. There's stuff in your hair, Rob. What's in his hair?
I don't know. It's moving, though. Oh, wow. We told him to wash it. Remember? Hey, guys. Yeah. You know what you should do is bring this thing to that sales clerk that you ran into. Okay. Oh, wow. Eddie. Okay. Inappropriate. That's a filthy statement. Hey, you are filthy. You are filthy. It should help. I don't know. All right. Are you ready? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, when you do it, when you do it, if you can. Put the phone right down there by the device. And now people are starting to roll in. We're starting to see people come in and give donations. T-Rex. It's T-Rex. It's T-Rex. Hey, listen, you are giving to Boston Rob, but you're also giving to Rady's Children's Hospital. So please come down here and give as a part of this charity that we're doing for. Boston Rob and Rady's Children's Hospital. We're at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. If you're on your way to work, it's real easy to stop by. Get off on Arrow Drive from the 15, head west. You're going to go up to the second light. That's Daly Center. Take a left. And then the first right is our street. That's Granite Ridge. T-Rex has also brought some canned goods to her, Rob. Is that right? Oh, that's nice.
He can use both. He can use both, T-Rex. Thank you. That is fantastic. All right. All right. Are you ready? Yep, let's do this. Here we go. Here we go. Wow, he's patting Rob on the head with the Flobie. Is that how you're supposed to use a Flobie? I don't know if you're supposed to pat it or run it across like an actual trimmer. This thing is a piece of junk. It's not actually cutting. Hey, Eddie. It's a piece of junk. There should be a black, big black AC connected like you plug into a wall. in the box. Take that, plug it in, and the other end, there's a little yellow attachment at the end of the hose. What the hell? Plug it in there, and then it'll cut. I can't imagine why this Flobie device wasn't more successful. Yeah. Take a match stick and a piece of gum. Who just said that? Second of all. It's a kid named Zed.
Zed. Zed or Seth. Whichever one. Eddie is rubbing it across his head right now to no avail. Nothing is happening. It's like vacuuming his hair. I'm getting all the particles out of his hair. Getting all the lice out. That's sweet. I think, Eddie, that you actually do. You have to plug it in. You have to actually plug it into power. I mean, are you kidding me? Yeah, there's a black plug in the box, in a smaller white box. This is ridiculous. The planet was all set up ahead of time. Hey, man, people are starting to roll in and actually make donations right now. Rob's rubbing his back with the Flobie now. We're in back of the Clear Channel, in back of the Clear Channel building, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Come down here, drive behind the radio station. Rob. Hey, grow up, Joseph. All right. Pretending to... shave himself. He's so stupid. Come on down here right now in the back of the radio station and we will... Yeah. Just start taking chunks out. The crowd is going crazy for the Clippers. Yeah, the crowd wants the Clippers. Now, Chetty, make sure you leave a portion for the NY just in case we get there. We're real close. Let me tell you something.
We're not shaving the New York symbol into his head unless we get $1,000. That's good. And so, you know, come down here and give $1, $5, whatever you want. But if you can come down here and make a big cash donation, we'd appreciate it. And half of it's going to go to Rady's Children's Hospital. So come down here and do this. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive is the location. Eddie, let's hear that thing. Oh, that's what I'm talking about. Now we're working. Those are clippers. Now we're cooking with oil. I've always wanted to do this. Eddie gets to be a barber. What is Rob trying to say to you? He's telling me to give him a mullet. Oh, wow. With no problem. Eddie, let's do this. Let's let the audience listen in. Here we go. Chunks of hair are falling off of him. Dude, it's like watching a guy going into boot camp. It's like tufts of hair. Giant tufts of hair. It's like the very opening scene of Full Metal Jacket.
What does he want? One of those little smocks? Oh, he's such a wimp. Is that Flobie thing sucking up the hair? No, dude. We've switched to clippers. Oh, just clean clippers. Oh, wow. Look at that. Chunks. Giant chunks of hair. It's like a dog at the groomers. Probably smells like it, too. I would agree with that. Oh, heck yeah. Oh, well, if you want to see this. We are at the Clear Channel building, 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Come on, P1s. Unite. Get down here. Give a buck or two. Wow. Look at that. Oh, he's an honorary member of NSYNC. Oh, and there's so much more hair to go still. So much hair. Do you want me to get to the other side now? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Put the phone down there so we can hear it. Okay. That is so... Oh, dude. You're throwing hair all over me. He's such a baby. Oh, look at that. Eddie, dude. Eddie's doing like... He's just doing chunks like from the movie Jackass where he's just going... You are the worst barber I've ever had. Dude, you gotta come see this. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive is where we're located. Oh, and he...
Well, Rob keeps moving. I know it. Why is he moving? Oh, that's fantastic. Come on down to the radio station and check it out. Oh, dude, that's great. What is Rob saying? All right, let me come back over there. I love how Rob's so concerned about his clothes, like he's wearing a tuxedo right now or something. How do you like this now? It's the vanilla ice luck. It's actually an improvement. It really is. What do you think we're just living like this? Yes. Let's go to Vegas. Let's take some calls. Mikey Show, hello. Yeah, hi. This is P1 Myers, and I was just wondering if you guys could plug in that we're doing a clothing drive over at Kearney High School this weekend. Absolutely, man. That sounds like a good cause. What day? Saturday from 10 to 1. In the parking lot of Kearney High School. Right on, dude. Thank you, man. I appreciate the phone call. Thank you. Bye. We'll see you. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, this is Kevin. I want to donate $20, but I'm coming from North County, and I don't know any directions. I can't get my hands on it. Yep, it's real easy. All you've got to do is you're going to take everybody listening. This is how you get here. It's real easy. Interstate 15. Cut it. It's going in my mouth. Shut up.
Yes. Okay, dude. You're going to take Interstate 15 to the Arrow Drive exit. Yeah. Interstate 15 to the Arrow Drive exit. Get off on Arrow and go west. Okay? Go west on Arrow. Yeah, and you're going to go two lights up to Daly Center Drive, and you're going to take a left on Daly Center, and then your first... You can go right on. Go right. And that's our street. That's Granite Ridge Drive. You'll see the big Clear Channel building. And you can actually, our studios, we have our windows open, our blinds open, so we can see out. And both Ashley and her studio and us and ours. And so we can see out there. And we are behind the radio station. We just want to urge people to come down here. So, bro, it's real easy to find us. Come on down, all right? Perfect. Thank you, Mikey. You got it, dude. Listen to this guy. Oh, he's such a lamp. I hate it. I'm so over him. Oh, I know. See, Ashley does stuff. He's such a baby and like. That is so funny. Oh, we got another donation rolling up. I love it. Dude, that hair looks ridiculous. Look at this bad boy. Let me see. Go over the window, Rob. Let me see, Rob. That is a disaster right there. I'm leaning over the board. Oh, wow.
Dude, he blinded me with science. That is awesome. Rob keeps giving this. Rob's giving me the symbol like, I'm done, I'm done. Dude, I'm going to call that look the David Silver. I'm going to call it the David Silver. Wow. That is fantastic. We are going to take a quick timeout. And I just want to get people to come down here. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Come down to the Clear Channel building. Donate money to Rob and to Rady's Children's Hospital. We will take a quick timeout. Number 5701053. Our text number 35253. Love to hear from you on the phones or on the texts. When we come back, details on why the L.A. police are launching an investigation into John Schneider's stolen Christmas puppies. That is a true statement. Okay. That's next.

Ladies and gentlemen, AMCO is the place to go if you have your check engine light on. But they don't just do those transmissions. They also do cooling systems and oil changes and brakes and tune-ups. And if you are a P1, you are in luck, especially right now. Here's the deal. If you're a P1 and your check engine light is on, take it to AMCO and they will diagnose it for free. And if any additional diagnosis is required, you just mention to them that you're a P1 and you're going to get 10% off on all the repairs. Pretty good deal. So now is the time. Remember what the transmission does because a lot of people don't. They don't know what that is. It's what the transmission does for the car, what your legs do for you. It's very simple. Now, when you do it, you want to get it done right. You want to get it done quickly at the best price. And you don't want your car to be taken hostage, which is what happens a lot of times when you take it to the dealership. They hold on to your car and you're waiting and you're waiting and you're waiting. And Amco just wants to get you in and get you out. And they don't want to fix what isn't broken. It's Amco. Get to AutoZone today. Get in the zone. AutoZone. The key show. Mikey, moment. Mikey, tell Eddie and B-Rob that they have competition with their light hanging business. I saw a guy on the side of the street in Scripps with a sign that said, we'll hang lights with his phone number. That's P1 Kiosk. All right. We're working in our turf, Rob. You got to step up your marketing. Sure, dude. Yeah, well, you know, sometimes when other people start their business, you know, sometimes the business doesn't go as good as ours. They go under eventually. Businesses fail just like brakes on a car, you know. You know, sometimes, you know, maybe the business goes under or maybe it goes up. 570-1053, that's the phone number. Sometimes you fall on a bullet. Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. One, two. I think drastic measures are going to have to be taken. Oh my. In my office, underneath my desk, I have a square shaped box. In that box is my own personal stash of some best of CDs that we've had. I will, I'll supplies last. Okay. Give those CDs out for everybody that makes.
A $5 donation. Oh, wow. Dude. Oh, yes. That's cool. We also don't want to hear Rob wine all day about how he cut all his hair off for $5. Yeah. Thank you. As you know, he will all weekend. That's all we'll do. I don't care. I don't care. Who goes and gets their hair cut and complains that they're getting hair on them? That is true. You know, like, he was being such a baby. Dude, he's so weird about that hair. Yeah. He's so weird. He's trying to be nuts. So weird about the hair. I don't know. I think I gave him a really good haircut right now. I thought you did great. Look at that thing. Our phone number is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. It is 753. Military officials approved emergency funding yesterday for the man who lost his family when a military jet crashed into their university city home. CeCe Sabathia reaches a deal with the Yankees that is the richest pitching deal in history. He signs a seven-year...
$161 million contract. Derek Jeter talks about having a new teammate. Nothing's final yet, from what I understand, but I think any team in baseball would love to have CeCe. I've played against him enough. He's a great guy. He's a great pitcher. He really steps up when he needs to. Hopefully they can get some things done. $161 million over seven years. But Rob can't afford a sandwich. That's true. That is true. He can't. Wow. I want to welcome to the studio P1 Tim, who is an assistant manager of a hotel, and he won P1 Trivia, and he's getting to hang out. He gets a backstage pass today. He gets to sit in in the studio as we do the show, and he also gets food that has been catered by Divine Positibilities. Awesome. It's so good. Which, if you have never had the sandwiches at Divine Positibilities. Yummy, man. Oh, you've got to check it out. They're on Midway Drive, and they've got a website, tourpasta.com. It's the place that stuffs the bread with the pasta. So good. Oh, it's good. It is good. So, yeah, we are getting those CDs. It's from my personal stash. Love it.
You're a good man, Mike. It's an office. It's nice to see someone, you know, with a good attitude in this whole ordeal. A freaking baby outside. He really is. It's starting. He really is. Oh, I'm done with him. Done. Wait a minute. I mean, haven't you technically been done with him since like 06? That's true. Technically, you've kind of been out on him for a couple of years. Here they are. Here they are. Let me see. What do we got? What do you got in there, McGuette? These are flying. I know. I mean, I'm happy to get the box out of the office. I'm not going to lie. Oh, Skye. Oh, Skye kind of keeps a messy desk. Oh, wow. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. Yeah, why are you, though? What? Why are you just saying? This is a heartbreak to me. What CD is it? It's Pretty Sure. Oh, pretty sure. Oh, wow. Oh, dude. So for the newer listeners, they probably don't have that one. Dude. Yeah.
That's a goodie. Pretty sure. Pretty sure they don't. It's got Tyrone and Tortilla. Oh, dude. Oh, the classics. Boston Rob versus the Star Wars Geeks. Oh, that was great. Oh, my gosh. It's got Ashley's small bladder song on it. That was good. Oh. Tough Love with Eddie. Hello. The Is Shauna at Work theme. Oh, nice. Back in the good old days. All right, so here's what I'm going to do. Okay. I'm going to have this box taken out there. And while supplies last. Dude, I have to keep one. Yeah, no, keep one. This was my attachment to it. This is it. Keep one, take it home. So five bucks? A five dollar donation gets you the CD. That's the deal. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. Remember we had P1s calling the other day being like, hey, how do I get your old best of CDs? Come run these out there, yeah. All right. That's how you do it. They're not available. No, we don't sell them anymore. And the reason that they're not available is because any that are, and literally, this is what was left. No, I know. I don't know how many of them are. That's what I'm saying. This is like a one-time thing. They're mine. It's huge that you're doing that.
They're mine. Giving them away. Look how angry he is. It's hurt, Skye. It's hurt, sadness, and fear. I'll never see him again. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive is where we are. Yeah, Rob should be thanking you dearly. Yes, he should. Thank you, Mikey. Thank you, Mr. McCain. Let's see. So before we went to break, I told you that, Eddie, you will find great interest in this. The L.A. police are launching an investigation into John Schneider's stolen Christmas puppies. Okay, wait. That is a true story. Yes, Bo Duke. Wow. One of the Duke brothers. Awesome. I bet you it was that dastardly boss hog. What if it was? This is real life. What if it really was? No, this is actually happening in real life. It's not a TV show. Roscoe P. Coatrain. So John Schneider had his Cadillac Escalade parked at the mall. The mall. I stepped right into it. I'm so glad Rob's not here.
We'll have to tell him about it when he comes back. He comes back, we'll mention it to him many times. We'll let Vanilla Rob know. Dude, when you cut that hair, it looks just like Vanilla. It's so good, though. So up in Sherman Oaks, he was doing some Christmas shopping, and I guess he had just bought his kids two little puppies for Christmas. They were little Yorkie puppies. So cute. I've seen pictures. And he was about to take them home when his car got stolen. His Cadillac Escalade got stolen out of the parking lot with the puppies in it. Well, the car has been recovered, but the puppies have not. Oh, wow. Yeah, they found the car, but not the puppies. And so he's convinced that these puppies are too dang cute and that the thieves kept the puppies because they're so cute. Either that or they want to sell them because I think they're worth something, those Yorkies. Oh, yeah, they're like purebred little pups. You get two bills for those. And so the L.A. police have... Yeah, that's kind of weird. Yeah, Eddie, that's a little interesting. How do you know exactly how much they worth?
So it's to the point now where the L.A. Police Department has gotten involved and is launching an investigation to where these puppies are. Come on. I know. That's crazy. Kind of crazy. Speaking of money, Jim Carrey says that he's not in a recession and that it is wonderful to have money. Oh, wow. Congratulations. Thank you. Merry Christmas. The other day we were talking about P. Diddy saying how he's going to scale down his clothes. He's going to tone it down for all of us who are suffering and whatever. And so Jim Carrey was asked about that and said, well, what are you going to do? And he said, quote, I'm not in a recession. I'm doing incredibly well. I don't know. I just want to be honest because I'm really kicking ass. It's so wonderful to have money. Wow. Yeah. That is a bold statement. Yeah, making lots of friends. Skye has a list of the best and worst celebrity names, baby names. Oh, potato. For 2008, definitely a bad one. Pork skin. Ad bondigas. That was a bad one. That was J-Lo's? That was J-Lo's kid.
I don't know why J-Lo named her kid. I don't either. So messed up. Okay. Hooter McFarlane. Yes, that's bad. That is bad. That pilot. Pontius Pilate. Pontius Pilate. No, what? Pilot Investigator. Pilot Inspector. No. It's not on there? That's not on there? No. No, they consider that a really good celebrity kid name. Fine name. Yeah. Apple. Call L. No. These are babies born in 2008. Oh, in 08. In 08. Oh, right. Toaster oven. Apple slices. Yes. Sean, no one named their kid Toaster Oven. You don't know that. You don't know they did. Sickle cell. No. It was a bad one. Everyone knew it from the beginning. Lipstick. Yes. No. No? No. Give us an example of one. Give us one. Yeah. Candy Lowenbrow. Seth got one, right? What? The worst celebrity baby name for a boy this year goes to Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
Ashley Simpson and Pete Wentz's baby boy. Well said. Mowgli. From the Jungle Book, Mowgli. That's bad. So that's the worst one for a celebrity boy. If it was a girl, it was going to be Baloo. I don't know, Skye. I don't know any of these kids. Okay. The worst one for a girl goes to Soleil Moonfry's daughter, Jagger Joseph Blue. What? That's a girl? That's a girl. That's bad. Jagger Joseph Blue Goldberg. Oh, well. That's just not mean. That makes it better. That's mean. And the best names, the best baby boy name of the year goes to Bo Bice. Bo Bice's baby boy. Hey, Bo. Hey, Bo. Yeah, he named his little baby boy Caleb James Bice.
Cute. That's bad? No, that's the good boy one for the year. Oh, Sean, just so you know, Rob is outside the window mouthing Bo Bice to you right now. Stop it, Adam. He is. He's saying, hey, Bo. And then finally, the best celebrity baby girl name of the year goes to Harlow Madden, which is Joel Madden and Nicole Richie's baby. Harlow? Harlow. There's a guy on the phone, and we've actually had this happen before. And this guy is just concerned. He's got a daughter. Stepdaughter? What's your name, bro? Let's see. Sky mentioned it before. Howie Mandel's in town tomorrow at the NBC 739 Studios doing their Toys for Tots drive. Yeah, so they're doing their big annual toy drive, Toys for Tots. Great cause outside the NBC 739 Studios. And, whoa, hold on. Oh, wow. Look at that.
and they say that Howie Mandel is expected to be there at about 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. Toy or no toy. That's right. Sorry, kid, you get no toys. Brutal. Yeah, so of course go down there, donate a toy anyway, but if you're a big Deal or No Deal fan or maybe just a fan of Howie and his stand-up. That's me. Really, Ashley, from back in the day. So who or what is the latest with the Illinois governor? Okay, well, so we talked about... Peter Bogdanovich. Yes. That is his official name. Skye, would you like to pronounce it? No, I would not. Skye, what is his name? No, I'm good. Please, tell us. I mean, it's part of your duties. That's right. As a journalist. No one knows who you're talking about. Well, the governor of Illinois. His name? His friends call him. His name is? He goes by his first name, Rod. Rod what? What? How would you say it, Skye? Rod... Blagojevich. Oh! I'm going to have to hit the delay. I don't know. It's not important to the story. Leave me alone. The guy's name's not important?
Well, he knows that. I think if we say the governor of Illinois, people know who we're talking about. The guy's name's not important. Thank you. I learned it from Brokaw. Ladies and gentlemen, I would tell you the name of the governor of Illinois, but I've just been told in my earpiece, it's not important. Thank you. You get it. So, yeah, we talked the other day when it was breaking news that he was arrested on federal conspiracy charges. Who was that? Shut your dirty mouth. For allegedly, you know, Barack Obama has been elected president. So his Senate seat in Illinois is up for grabs. That name again? Barack Obama. Who are we talking about? Barack Obama. Rod. What? Rod. We're talking about the governor of Illinois. Rod. Shut up. Sterling. So his seat is up for grabs. And so the governor allegedly was trying to basically sell the Senate seat to the highest bidder. Yeah. Which is shady business. So yesterday, Barack Obama called on him to resign. And he said, no, thank you.
He's not going to. He's not going to resign because if he resigns, then it makes it look like he's guilty. And he claims he's not. And it's funny. Well, I shouldn't say it's funny. But when this story broke, I think, Mikey, you said it immediately. This thing's going to snowball because soon we're going to start to find out who he was talking to about buying said seat. Who was talking to him? Well, in the federal indictment, it lists Senate candidate five. You know, they like number them all. Yeah. As Jesse Jackson, Jr. Jesse Jackson's son. And Jesse Jackson, Jr. says he's not a target in this investigation. Cut 18. I want to make this fact plain. I reject and denounce pay to play politics and have no involvement whatsoever in any wrongdoing. I did not initiate or authorize anyone at any time to promise anything to Governor Blagojevich on my behalf. There it is. I did good. Know this. Well, not really. I spoke to the U.S. Attorney's Office on Tuesday. They shared with me that I am not, I am not a target of this investigation. And that I am not accused of any misconduct. I think you got the shot. Yeah. Uh-oh.
That I'm not accused of any misconduct. Well, I thought that you are. This reminds me of something. Remember when the governor of New York was linked to a prostitution ring? Right. And they named the specific prostitute in the paperwork? Yeah. But they didn't charge her with anything because they were after the big fish. They're not after the little fish. Okay. So my interpretation is they're not after the guys who were listening to his offers. They're not after those guys. They're after the governor. Got it. So that's why his name is in the paperwork because it sounds. Oh, and he specifically said in that quote, he didn't initiate any contact. That doesn't mean he wasn't listening. You know what I mean? It's all about wording. And that was kind of the thing. You know, when we brought this thing up, I was thinking to myself. Now, I wonder, was he shopping or were they shopping? Yeah. You know. Because they were reading yesterday when they brought the whole thing up and they were reading this quote that they heard from him when they were taping him that said, you know, this thing is worth something, meaning the Senate seat. This thing is worth something. I ain't just giving it away. And so what does that mean? Does that mean you hatched a plan to very subtly suggest to people that are interested that you got something for sale?
Or were people coming to you going, hey, you're going to be naming somebody there? Well, I read that there were specific requests, and they didn't say exactly who he was talking to, but for the governor's wife to be guaranteed a job with a certain charity, and her salary would be $150,000 a year. So these kind of things to kind of make it. not really have a paper trail there because if his wife just happens to get some job that just happens to have a salary of $150,000, how does that have anything to do with the Senate seat? Yeah, so it's shady. It's very shady. Boston Rob is outside. He's getting his hairs cut today. Oh, Robert. And if we raise $1,000, we will shave N-Y into his head. Please. We raise $1,000, we will shave N-Y. Into his head. Awesome. All you got to do is come down to the radio station. Come to the back of the radio station. We are located at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. The best of the Mikey show, pretty sure.
for a $5 donation. And so we would love to see you come down here. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive. B-Rob's getting his hairs cut. Ashley is going to be participating in an eating competition. Coming up in just a little bit. I'm not sure what that happens. So there was a burglary suspect trying to run from the police. Wait till I tell you what he ran into. Where he ran into. To escape the police, I'll tell you next. The Mikey Show is on. Dreamless to spruce up the house and find fashion for her and her overworked spouse. Patriots Matt Castle may miss Sunday's game after the death of his father. So before we went to break, I told you that a burglary suspect escaped from the police. And they're chasing him, and he's got to run into some place to try to get away. And where did he decide to go in, Skye? He decided a good place to run and hide would be UCSD Medical Center. Really? Well, that's not how it goes. No, it's actually a different one. No, sorry, Mom. It was UCSD.
Jerk move. I mean, like being a burglar isn't enough of a jerk move. I guess he had already allegedly burglarized three homes in the area. Allegedly. Was working on his fourth when the cops caught up with him. You guys taking jerk pills, huh? That's right. and then ducked into the UCSD Medical Center. I guess he was... Scott, can you check with your sources to see if he was taking jerk pills? I heard he was. I don't know. I don't actually think those pills exist, though. I just got a blast. He was taking jerk pills. Oh, you got it just right now? He had a prescription. Okay, well, as long as he had the bottle with him and it had his name on it, it's legal. You can't do anything about it. If a doctor's prescribed jerk pills, you can't do anything. What can you do? All right. So he was running throughout the halls and even at one point darted through the cafeteria. Police got there and blocked all the exits, but the guy was never found and is still on the loose. We have actual audio of it. Oh, there it goes. Wait, now he's wearing a nurse's costume. What's going on? Where's that monkey come from? Who's that bald-headed old man? Yes.
Who's ogling the nurse with big breasts? Yeah, the big-breasted nurse. Speaking of big-breasted nurses, Boston Rob is on the line. Hey, Robbie O'Shades. Look at his haircut. Can you walk to the window so I can see you? Oh, wow. See, I gave him a fade and a mullet, which I thought. That's the look. He has like the vanilla ice, high hair on top, completely shaved on the side, and a long kind of mullet in the back. Like a tuffy in the back. That is great. I'm going to keep it like this, dude. This is like what's in now, I think, in Vegas. I don't think so. Well, T-Rex is actually out there with him. Hey, T-Rex, you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mikey. How's it going? It's going good, man. So, Eddie, what do you think? What should we do? Well, you know, I mean, we can't sit here and... beg for Rob for much longer. We got Ashley's eating competition we got to get to. So I say, you know what, whatever is in the kitty, that's what Rob will get and we'll, let's shave the rest of that sucker off. All right. Let's, oh, he's holding up a little. He's trying to sell bags of his hair for $5. Oh, it's not going to work. That's really gross, Rob. This bag I saved for Skye. Okay. I say thank you, but no. Now listen, I will do this. I will do this.
If you're interested, we have those Best of CDs out there. And we'll get Rob to come back in here, but we'll keep our promotions department out there. We also have some copies of one of our other Best of CDs. What is the one that came out? What do you think of the name? Shiloh. What do you think of the name? Shiloh. Shiloh. And so, $5 donation. I'll give you both. Oh, wow. I'll give you both. while supplies last. Now, do you have a copy of that? Do we need to grab you one? Please get me one. We'll grab you one. What did you think of the name Shiloh? So we have pretty sure, and what do you think of the name Shiloh? Wow. While supplies last, if you come to the back of the radio station, it's like we're selling something out of our trunk. Seriously. Rob is used to this. Yeah, it's a Rob special. Exactly appropriate. And you know what? If we run out, I'm going to pop my trunk open and I get a special. It's one for ten. Oh, you are. That's not special. That's not really special. That's not really special. Okay. Hey, T-Rex, you there? I'm here, Mikey. Can we have you do the honors of taking off some more of that hair?
You got it. Oh, my Lord. Were you ever a barber in the Merchant Marines? I guess that's a no. That would be a no. You were not a barber in the Merchant Marines. T-Rex, go right down the middle. Wait, wait, wait. Let me see. Oh, my gosh. Right down the middle. T-Rex is real good at this. That's obnoxious. Yes. Tell you what, if I ever hit the waddle, T-Rex, I'm going to hire him. Oh, right down the middle. That is awesome. Oh, man. Oh, that's fantastic, dude. Oh. Wait, wait, wait. Yeah, we got to get pictures of that. Total Wolverine. Oh, it's a shit. Look in the camera and take a picture. Yeah. Cut his hair right down the middle. Oh, it looks like a goal post. It looks like a butt. Hi, Robbie. Yeah, I don't know, Eddie. I don't know that it looks that good. Oh, you're right. The face kind of ruins it. Keep going, Rob. Yeah, keep going. Keep going. Get that sucker off.
Oh, he's so concerned it's going to get on his shirt. Oh, look. He's got a little towel. He's got a little towel. Oh, my gosh. It's coming off in lops. That was really a lot of hair. Dude, it is crazy the amount of hair was there. Dude, it's just chunks are coming off. His hair is going. Rob should have really kept growing that out. It's like an episode of Silkwood in here, Mike. And let me tell you, man, now the cars are coming through. As soon as those Best of CDs are gone, they're gone. And now it's two Best of CDs for a donation of $5 or more. Somebody's rolling in with a check. Somebody's rolling in with a check. Check their ID. A donation of $5 or more gets you the CD. What do you think of the name? Shiloh. Pretty sure. Our first and second best of CDs. Now it's got a little side hawk. Are we going to leave a little bit of hair just in case? Absolutely. Absolutely. We'll leave a little bit of hair just in case so that we can shave that NY if we get it. Here they come, though. The cars are starting to roll through. There you go. And I got to make a point of saying, once the CDs are gone, they're gone. I don't know how many we had out there. I don't even want to speculate.
But we have one box of each. Yeah. And they're not like big moving boxes. They're just small boxes that hold the CDs. So hustle up. So hustle up. If you get here. We want to shave that NYN so bad. I know it. So bad. Yeah. Oh, look at him. Oh, look at him. Oh, wow. That is a lot of hair. Oh, that is hideous. That is hideous. Oh, wow. Even like that. That's because it's nice and proper. You know, I comb it to one side. He has a swatch of about four or five inches. And he's sort of mushing it to the side like a part. It's very Euro. Yeah, very Euro. It's very Euro nerd. It's very Euro nerd. Anybody have some makeup so I can... Yeah, no kidding. You need some mascara, buddy. Sean, do you have any? From the old days. Leftovers. I'm not the one who says... I would like to be Seacrest. How dare you? That's a good point. He's making another pass. No, Rob's making a pass at T-Rex. Good for him. Oh, look at that. There comes the hair. He looks human again, you guys. He really does.
It's like we took him to the groomers. Yeah. He's getting his summer cut in winter. Yeah. People are showing up here at the radio station for a $5 donation. You get our first two Best Up CDs. What do you think of the name? Shiloh. And pretty sure. Oh, that hurt. That hurt. I saw a win. Turn around. A little ear nip. T-Rex, you're pretty good at this. He's real good. I've done this before. Yeah, yeah. I might have been in the Merchant Marines. You were in the Merchant Marines? Yeah. Okay. Here comes Crush It. I see Crush It. Come on. Instant $1,000 donation. A million dollars donation. Rob, tell Crush It to get on the phone and we want to see how much he's going to donate. Ask him if he's going to donate. Are you donating? Absolutely. Absolutely. Here's my gold medallion. Okay, he's putting them on the phone, Mike. I got hair all over the phone. Oh, that's not good. You are the man. You're going to donate? Absolutely. How much are we talking? 20? Yeah! Crush it!
Yeah. Awesome. That's right, man. That is cool, man. And we'll give Crush It a couple of copies of the Best of CD, too. Yeah. And maybe we can shave down some of his chest hair, too. That's a good thought. No, let's not. Please. That's extra. We have to pay for that. Yes. Sexy time. Dude. That's fantastic. Well, Crush It, thank you for supporting Boston Rob and Rady's Children's Hospital. You're a gentleman, sir. Absolutely. I'm going to give the hair ridden phone back to B-Rod. Don't blame you. Hey, crush it. Crush it. Oh, he just gave it back. Did he? I was going to say he should roll with us to Vegas because with that suit, I'm sure we can get in any place we want. Yeah, he is. Oh, look at Rob. Rob, you finally look clean. Yeah. Dude, the cars are coming through, man. I love it. I'm so happy. Yeah, and I'm just wondering how long those things are going to last. What's the over-under on how long the Best of CDs last? Maybe another 15 minutes. Maybe, maybe. Yeah. Maybe 15. 9660 Granite Ridge Drive for a donation of $5 or more. You get our first two Best of CDs.
Pretty sure. And what do you think of the name? Shiloh. Nice. That's a lot of material. Rob's kind of handsome under there. I mean, we didn't know. He's not trying to look ugly. No offense, Rob. All right, Rob, we'll check in with you in a minute, all right? Okay. All right, thank you. He's a clown. Boston Rob. And T-Rex out there giving him a... Yeah, he did a good job. Giving him a little spit shine. Wait. He needs a little bit more than that. I don't think that's what it's called. All right, some more headlines that I want to get to, and then we're going to get to the Ashley Eating Competition, which, by the way, will be videotaped and put on our website. Yes. So, if you want to see Ashley...
eating against a listener. You can check it out on MikeyShow.com a little bit later. As a matter of fact, we have them cataloged there so you can see old ones too. They're videotaped. You can see what Ashley looks like and you can see her eating against other chicks. We have an eating competition. Ashley, are you guaranteeing victory this week? I have to. I don't have a choice. This is going to get crazy. This is going to get... I'm telling you, Mike. Ashley takes this real serious. You have no idea. And your competitor, what's her name? P1 Hot Pink Penguin or P1 Missy. P1 Hot Pink Penguin or Missy. Isn't there already a P1 Penguin? Yeah, there is. She's P1 Hot Pink Penguin. Oh, Hot Pink Penguin. Oh, my goodness. Don't roll your eyes. Oh, that was such an... eye roller for me. I felt like a great white shark with the eyes rolling to the back of my head before I attacked. The whites of my eyes are showing already with that one. Hot pink penguin! Can't just start changing your name! Let me talk to her. Get her on that microphone. Pink penguin! Pink penguin!
You guarantee a victory? Oh, duh. Yeah? I'm going to win. Okay. Really? All there is to it. She's very mouthy. Yeah, she's very mouthy. I got all there is to it. And you've been going back and forth with Ashley about it, right? Oh, yeah. I've been emailing her, you know. Yeah. Have you sized up Ashley? You think you can beat her? Oh, yeah. Oh, wow. I love it. Hot pink penguin. You realize she's good. I'm better. All right. Wow. They're going to be eating Christmas cookies. That is ridiculous. Dude, it's so offensive to watch Ashley eat in these competitions. Very much so. It is. It's kind of scary. And that's really why we do it. Yeah. We do it because it's both a treat to watch and it's a spectacle to watch. It's also a tragedy. Why is it a tragedy? It's an outrage. It's an abomination. That's something else that it is. What else is it? A disaster. A disaster. It is a disaster. And a delight. And a delight. So we will be doing that when we come back. And while supplies last, we have the first and second best of CDs we did. They're mine. It's from my personal little stash.
And we will give them all away for a $5 donation or more in back at the radio station. We'll be back with Ashley's eating competition. On the rock. It's me, your feminine side. Anyway, so shopping, shopping, lovely experience. Go to checkout. And the chick at the checkout, when she would kind of stand up straight, you know how like you're normal, you kind of have a little slouch to you, but then kind of when you move around or when you go to the register, you kind of stand up straight. Right. When she would do that, the top portion of her pubic hair would stick out from her pant. Probably about, like, this much of it. That's about an inch. Yeah. Is she from the 70s? Sticking out. Oh, that is legal. And then, so, like, the whole time in my mind, I'm going, do I say something? Do I say something? No, do not. Do I say something? Say something. Hey, uh, Cat Stevens is trying to get out of your pants.
It's that little 9, 10-year-old girl from, what's it called? Any About Love or Love Actually. Yeah, that's it. About Love Actually. Welcome back. It is 840. Oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh. In a battle.
to decide gastric prowess. The Monkey Show presents the Ashley Eating Competition. Here she comes. Here she comes. What is the matter with you? She's a creep. What is the matter with you? She just walked in here like she just walked in here like some kind of a fighter walking into the ring and she looks at the trash can in here and she got gum in her mouth and she goes... And spits it out like she's spitting into the garbage can. And missed the can. Yeah, missed the garbage can. Just filthy. Yeah, that's too much, lady. Ridiculous. Ashley takes part in eating competitions every week. Yeah, she likes to eat. Yeah, mommy likes to eat. This one might be my favorite. Really? Yeah.
This time it is Christmas cookies. Those things are going to be flying all over the studio. They look yummy. Now, we have made this fair, but first, before we tell you how we've done this, we are going to meet Misty, who is Ashley's competition today. Misty, how old are you? 19. 19 years old and you are not a professional eater, right? No. We've got to make sure because we can't have pros. Stop manhandling her. Why does she do that every time? I don't know. She manhandles. It's part of her intimidation. So you guys have been writing emails to each other since yesterday when we got you and you've been kind of talking smack to each other. All right, so you feel that you're going to win today no matter what. I know. You know you're going to win. I don't feel it. Love it. And Ashley would be saying something, but she's been mugging to the camera the whole time. The whole time. Yeah, they've got a video camera in here. We videotape this, post it on MikeyShord.com. Let's get serious. Oh, look it. Rob just came back in here. Yeah, he's trying to protect his stuff. Filthy eater. He's moving his stuff. Oh, he's moving his stuff out of the way. Look how that happened.
doesn't fit his head anymore. It looks like he's got a giant colander on his head. Little boy. You have the nerve to call me filthy. I know it. I know it. I know it. You got rocks, buddy. Yeah, buddy. Oh, yes, I do not. Okay, come on, guys. All right. Okay, so here's how we're doing this to make it fair. We have two paper plates, all right? One's in front of Ashley, one's in front of Misty. And they have cookies on them. First, they have to make their way through the little trees. They have the little Christmas tree cookies. And then if they make their way through the five Christmas tree cookies, Then they got to go to the little gingerbread, the little green sprinkled snow. Oh, they're snowmen. The little green sprinkled snowmen. How many snowmen? We have six of those. All right. All right. So do you ladies understand you are starting with the Christmas trees?
So it has to be even. So you guys got to eat just the trees first. Don't go. What is Ashley doing? She looks like she's concentrating. What is she doing? She's got her head back. She's got her fingers to the bridge of her nose. She's doing the shaking thing. Yeah, yeah. She gets real nervous beforehand. Real nervous before you. Yeah, you got to focus here. Come on. What's the nervous thing? This is really, really important. She takes it seriously. She takes it seriously. You know, do you think this is how Chuck Liddell would act if he was going in to fight for the title? Oh, good point. and Vera says he pukes before he fights every time. Brandon's lost like three of the last four fights. Can you please try and win? Mike, I have to win today. This is your forte, bro. This is it right here. Like if I don't win today, like my name, like my name. Your reputation is ruined. It's all of it. My credibility. My legend. You don't have a legend. It's all of it. My legacy. Is that what you meant? That's what she meant. It's all going to be down the drain. You are really canny. You're being canny right now. You're being canny. Not now. Are you ready? Focus. Hey, by the way, what is that? Your sleeveless eating sweater? What are we going to do? What are we doing? I don't know. I'm just asking a question. Look at this, Mike. How can you sweat through a sweater? Every time we videotape me, it's really kind of embarrassing. Look at it. You're wearing a sweater and you're sweating through it. Oh, yuck. That's fantastic. Yuck. You girls ready? Okay. All right.
You must consume the entire cookie. It's my Christmas sweater. Okay. It's gorgeous. Gorgeous. Right in the middle. You must consume the entire cookie. Are you ready? You have 60 seconds to get down as much as you can. On your mark, get set, go. Here we go. Ashley's shoving it in. Ashley has a really, really weird... They're very dry. There's powdery stuff everywhere. Ashley is spilling water on herself as she pours water in to try to moisten her mouth. I gotta tell you, water I think is a bad idea. I do too. Look at this. Misty, she looks like a professional, man. Misty's getting it right now. She's on her second cookie. Ashley, don't talk. If you've talked, you're to ruin it. This is ridiculous.
Ashley, get it down. It's as if Ashley is jamming Pop-Tarts into her mouth. That's what it looks like. Oh, no. Choking is happening. Choking is happening. Yeah. She tried to put water in her mouth, but her mouth was full, so the water came pouring out. Oh, okay, Ashley. Oh, yuck. Get it, Misty. Get it down. Misty is not going for water barely. She's only gone for water a couple of times. Get it down. Oh, Ashley's looking at her and looking at what she's eating to try to measure that. It looks like it's time right now. Shove it in, man. We've got to be coming to the end of this. Oh, hurry. Hands down. Put down that cookie. Hands down. Look at Ashley right now. Ashley's got her head up. Okay. Ashley's got her head up. You must swallow what's in your mouth. You must swallow what's in your mouth. My. Wow. Both of them. Shocking. Both of them did a fantastic job. Eddie has taken a look. Eddie has taken a look at the damage. The console is a mess right now. This is disgusting. Video camera being shoved into the food. Wow, we have a final tally. Okay. Is there cookie on Ashley's forehead right now? Yes. Am I seeing that right? Please don't make her laugh. She spits it everywhere. There's cookie on her forehead. Wow. All right. All right. Okay. Misty ate a total of two and three-fourths cookies. All right.
Two and three fourths cookies, which is excellent. Those cookies are hard to eat. We saw they were very, very dry. Yes. Ashley ate a total of three total cookies. Eddie, what do you call that? It's the crotch chop. It's the crotch chop. I'm calling for it. Oh, wow. Wow. She is so vulgar. She is so vulgar. Unbelievable. She's putting her guns up. Ashley. Ashley, talk to me in the mic. Talk to me in the mic. Oh, she almost fell off her feet. No. She's pumping her arms so hard. Can you get that cookie off your head? Talk to me. Talk to me, Ash. What happened here? Talk to me about your inspiration. Talk to me about this victory. She is pumped up right now. She just pounded the water bottle down so hard, water came spewing out the top. Ash, talk to us. Talk to us here. Oh, I'm the winner. Back on top.
where I belong. There was really nothing else to say. You knew you were going to win the whole time, right? Absolutely. It was a guaranteed victory. You were kind of in the zone. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I was very much in the zone. Was water a mistake? Because that looked like that made a paste out of those cookies. It did, and you were right on that. And in fact, I heard you say that, and it slightly changed my strategy. I used less water, more chewing, quicker chewing. She's shaking as usual. She grew more in than I was prior, but was chewing faster and using less water. Thus, the paste was less. of pastiness and it was going down quicker. Ashley, is it true that this means a lot to you because besides Sammy, this is really all you have at this point. I mean, it's just an interview. You do the interview. Afterward, you do the interview. You've got to ask the questions. That is true, Mike. Ashley, your response to that, please. That is not that far off, Mike. Let's talk to Misty. Ashley, is it true that you're going to finish those cookies? What do you think? Misty, Misty, what happened? What happened? I just had too much in my mouth and I was so strong. Whatever. I tried to shove it in at the last moment. Whatever.

I really do think of the hurricanes. As sort of celebrities. Eddie. I have a very strong sensitivity to smells. Sky. I don't like stinky cheese. Sean. Pet Shop Boys are one of my favorite groups. Boston Rob. I was like a shaken puppy. That's a very common terminology. You guys don't use that? Maybe it's an East Coast thing. And Ashley. I'm old. The mic show's on. Rock 105.3. What is this? What? I have no idea. It's your favorite song. It's a Christmas song. It's so pretty. That's a guy. I think it is. For real? I think that's a guy singing. Yeah. Is that Stevie Wonder? I think it's Stevie Wonder. That's Stevie. Back at his 9 o'clock. The head honcho over.
at CBS is calling out Jay Leno, saying that he'll put money on the fact that CBS will beat Leno in the ratings in his new 10 p.m. time slot. The Mets get reliever J.J. Putz in a three-team deal. Come on, Eddie. His name. His name, three-team deal, a 12-player deal, and now the Mets have a killer bullpen. Hey, listen. You know, a joke's a joke, but that's irresponsible, okay? I mean, that's his name. We're still a radio station, okay? I know. Ashley is glowing in her victory. Look at that. So over it. She is glowing in her victory. The promotion department here is going to stay outside for about five more minutes. And then we are going to wrap it up. And like I said, $5 donation gets you. Oh, who's that guy? $5 donation. Gets you our first two best SEDs. He hates being handsome. It makes him so upset to look good. I look like a dork. Rob, Rob, why does being handsome upset you so much? What? Oh, he's angry. What? He's flashing out. What are you talking about? You look pretty. What? Hey, why does being a handsome young dude, why does that upset you so much? No, I look like a nerd. You don't look like a nerd. I look like a nerd now. Ned.
Go put on my eyes on shirt. He really does think that. Why does he really does think that? Why do you think he looks like a nerd? What? Because only clean cut people have haircuts. Wait. Only nades. Nerds. Nah. Nades. Man. I'm done being itchy, though. Hey, have the Critics' Choice Awards been announced? Yeah, the Critics' Choice Awards. Nominations? Yeah, thank you. The nominations came out this week. And let's see. Milk. That new movie, Sean Penn. Oh, like the Milky Show. Milk it. Calcium D. Yeah. Calcium D led the overall nomination. It's good with a little salt in it. Yuck. Disgusting. Yuck. With eight nominations. And Heath Ledger was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Too soon, Sky. Sky, that's a terrible thing to say. Not funny. Not funny. Funny. No, not funny. It's not very cool, right? And then what, the Golden Globes, too? Yeah, the Golden Globes were actually, and the nominations were announced early this morning. The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons led with five nominations. Isn't it just Benjamin Button, or is it Benjamin? Okay, you know, Mike, if you want to be picky... I don't know any of this. It could be Benjamin Buttons. It's Benjamin Button, you are correct.
Again, Heath Ledger was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Skye, we get your joke. I don't find that kind of humor funny. You know, as a precursor for the Oscars, we could see that. That'd be awesome. Hi, Harry. Carrie, what are you doing? Hey, Dave. Is that Carrie? Yeah, it's Carrie Underwood. It's her friend Carrie Underwood. All the time. She's my best friend. Yeah. Did y'all know that we love best friends? I love you, Carrie Underwood. I love you, Carrie Underwood! Hey, Carrie. Yeah, we did. Did you know that we're going to host an award show together? I can't even wait. Yeah, we're going to host a Critic Choice Award. You are? Yeah, me and Carrie Underwood. And I thought maybe we could do a little dance on stage to win the award. Woo! Well, just don't squeeze the two tack, Carrie Underwood.
Because I'm lactose intolerant. And I just ate an entire wheel of Gouda. That's why I. You don't want to decide. I see what you're saying, Harry Carey. I didn't see what I did at the last second. I'm sure you did. Yeah. Hey, Harry Carey. Hey, what's the point of ballerinas standing on their toes, huh? Oh, that's right! That's right! I almost forgot about that. I almost forgot so glad you found it. I'm a hurricane.
Oh, don't forget the first time me and you won a People's Choice in Golden Globe Awards. I remember that was great. It was so fun. I was barely holding it together because I had just paid too much for Spear at a livestock auction. Oh, just so. Spear. Can you relate to that, Harry Kane? Absolutely, I can. I was overpaid for Rod Sandberg. You're so cute. I can. Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? Hey, how are you doing? We'll have him show up at the award show that we're going to host together. Uh-huh. And it'll be a big surprise. Yeah. And I'll give him a big kiss. Wait a minute. And then we just do it back and say... Wait a second. What do you think about that? I don't know about that. Gary Underwood. He has a boyfriend. Oh, wow. I think Gary Underwood. I think the award shows are going to be great. You do? Yeah, in fact, I just won an award myself. What? You win for me. I won the award for most improved hair tonic.
We should dress up. Oh, I love to dress up. Yeah, let's dress up. I'll be Tony Romo, and you be Jessica Simpson, and then I'll kick a field goal, and you make some cement shoes, and then I'll take you on a fishing trip, and then bye-bye, Blackbird, and see you later. What? I once rode a donkey through Albuquerque at 2 a.m. I was looking for an Indian shaman to cure tonsillitis. Speaking of what you were talking about. See, they make no sense. She wasn't speaking of that. Can you have me the remote? Thank you. Anyway.
It's a remote, but you guys are on the phone. Yeah, we're on the phone, but we're watching TV together on the couch. We're watching reruns of Miami Vice. I'm of the black guy. Oh, do you? He's my favorite. He's my favorite. Harry, can you give me a little bit of a blankie? Here you go. Thank you. Hey, Harry. Yes, Harry. I just wanted to tell you that I changed my diet, so now I only eat two. Oh, no, Karen. And it really helps me keep my weight down. You know what it is? Seagrams and soda water. Oh, wow. Doesn't sound healthy. No. No one should try that. Lately, I've been eating nothing but old tires. Just a little used motor oil, too. You're strong. You too. Harry, that's weird. Oh, my gosh. Hey, Harry. Hey, Harry. What's up? Hey, here's your remote back. Oh, thank you. Hey, Harry. Oh, my goodness. Change it.
I don't want to be in the movie so bad, Harry, but I have stage fright. Well, you do care. Yeah, you see, when I get on camera, I start to sweat, and my knees get weak, and a fifth of JD suddenly goes down my throat. Oh, that's really weird. It's really weird, Harry. That's dangerous. I forgot, who is this? This is Carrie. You're sitting next to each other. Is this Mariah Carey? Hey, look at her. What are you doing here? Are you calling me? What just happened? I don't know. Oh, no, that was me. I thought it smelled like hay in here. All right. Hey, hey. Yo, what's up? I know a lot of people think that I hate Jessica Simpson, but I don't. Is that true? No, it's true. I actually think she's a lot like me, except, well, she's a lot like me, except the fact she has big teeth and really big feet and can't sing country to save her life. But I honestly do think she looks like me.
Except she's not pretty. But we all know she's just trying to be me because she stole my boyfriend, Tony Romo. But now I think she's trying to steal my identity, too. And it's really sad. Go ahead, Harry. Is it okay if I put my feet on your lap? I don't mind at all. C2C is my fave. Yes, go ahead. That's what we call it. Hey, Carrie, remember that movie Jaws? I do. If you were the shark from Jaws, would you be a hungry shark and eat lots of people? Yes, I would. Because I was bitten by a loan shark once. And it didn't hurt that bad. A loan shark. I'm thinking of what you were talking about. I'm tired. I want to take a nap. I need you. I'm about to hang up. I'm going to go. Now, care of the woods. Bye. Bye, guys. Thanks for calling. Bye.
I love it when Harry Carey and Carey Underwood show up for no apparent reason. Always together. It really is incredible. I think Harry had been drinking this time, though. I'm not going to lie. I could kind of hear it in there a little bit. It seems like he was a little... He was getting a little confused. Something was going on with that. Quick time out. We're in Times Square asking people to explain why Corona Light is the only light beer that's also a Corona. Excuse me, you two. Us? Yes, ladies. What does the statement Corona Light, the only light beer that's also a Corona, mean to you? Oh, my gosh. Are you famous? No. I knew it. Are we going to be on television? No, this is for radio. Hi, honey. It's me, Kelly. I'm in New York City. On TV. I'm not shiny, am I? No, you're not shiny. Or on TV. But what do you think about Corona Light, the only light beer that's also a Corona? Oh, I love it.
It's only like the best light beer ever. It is. It's the best. And it's a Corona. I really want to just chill on a beach with a Corona Lite. Well, that would explain the bikini top you're wearing. Is there a beach here? Not per se. Oh, hello. There has to be. There's two rivers. Oh, my gosh. Let's go to Hudson River Beach. That's not really... The point is, Corona Lite is the only light beer that's also a Corona because it has the same refreshing, ready-for-the-beach taste. It's imported by Crown Imports, Chicago, Illinois. Relax responsibly. We're going to be on TV, right? Yeah, well, if you swim in the Hudson. Woo! Enjoy. Oh, yes. Hello. Skye, you're a big celebrity. What? And you have to hide your identity when you walk around town. I do. And one of the ways you do that is through your sunglasses that you got at Sunglass and Optical Warehouse. Oh, really? I didn't know that was true. And you're going to Vegas? Yeah. Today? Yeah. And when you roll Vegas, you like to look P-I-M-P. Oh, well, that is true. And another way you do that is wear your sunglasses from Sunglass and Optical Warehouse. Well, I'm not going to lie. I do believe my beautiful sunglasses from Sunglass and Optical Warehouse do enhance my look. So that's why I tell everybody, go. So tell people what you want for Christmas this year. That's crazy. Well, President Bush, what do you think about this approval rating thing, the transition approval rating? What is that all about? Well, you know, I told Obama not to trip out too much on approval ratings. You know, this stuff is very complicated. Someone in my staff broke it down for me, and it made it easier to understand. Think of approval ratings like that game Sudoku. A what? Okay. Just make your rating and add those two numbers together, then add your favorite number to the end, and that's your real approval rating. Oh, that's weird. I don't think, I think they lied. Mikey Show on The Rock. Rock 105.3. Oh, I'm trying to find, I'm trying to find the Elliot Yameen. Oh, what do you mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. At the last minute, I decided I wanted to play Elliot Yameen. Be together.
Welcome back. It is 9-18. Three people have been arrested in connection to the elderly La Mesa woman who was kidnapped from her home, beaten and kept in her car for two days without food or water. The New York Yankees are wheeling and dealing. They're set to trade Melky Cabrera to the Milwaukee Brewers for former Padre Mike Cameron. That's a real name. These names that you're mentioning, they're all real. Melky. Melky. Like Ashley calls milk. That's right. Yeah, milk. It's almost exactly the same. That's exactly right. So my dad wrote a holiday letter, which, by the way, my wife really wants me to do. And if I ever do holiday letters, I want to write them like this. This is what, in my opinion, we should be aspiring to. My dad, he's the best, and he is in love with my mom like you wouldn't believe. I won't read you this whole thing, but I thought it was so sweet, man. I just wanted to read it. He says, hello, dear friends. Another year. I know. I know. I love it. He says, hello, dear friends. Another year, and I am now over 70, and Esther is right behind me. He says, we're doing well, enjoying our lives. We've moved to Escondido, California, and we now live by Sam and Mike. He says, we've been blessed with a new Esparza child. His name is Jake.
The proud son of Rebecca and Mike. Now, he's updating because he hasn't written this. He's never written one of these. So some people are just finding out. Right. He says it's a joy to be around. He says he's a joy to be around and has us all going nuts over him. All of our boys and the grandchildren are doing very good. Mark and Steve still live in Arizona. And, of course, Sam and Mike are here in the San Diego area. He says Esther and I are the same in spirit. We enjoy going out to the different military bases and shop. We also like to go out and eat and now and then go to the movies. This is written by an older generation dude, and I love it. I love it. He says, we love spending time doing stuff around the yard. And of course, Esther can still cook some good tacos. We love each other more now than we did when we got married. That's crazy. And still hold hands and tell each other that we love each other very much. We hope that this short note gets to you and you're doing well. We pray that all of you will have a joyous Christmas and happy holiday season. We often talk about all of you and miss you very much. Please take care. Stay safe and be blessed. Love you all. Esther and Danny. Isn't that cute? That's nice. It's so sweet.
Yeah, you know, he is just a neat dude. You know, 52 years they've been married. 52 years. Over half a century. I told her, her and him, I said, you guys have been married almost three times longer than how old you were when you got married. Almost three times that. So, anyway, I thought it was the cutest thing in the world. And I asked him, I said, can I read it? And he goes, yeah, but what do you mean cute? What is that? Yeah, you're saying, I mean, this is an ex-military guy. Exactly. You know what I mean? He doesn't want to be cute. He's like Tommy from Goodfellas. What is that cute? What is that? What do you mean cute? You said it, yeah, big boy. Yeah, you answer. What do you mean cute? Like cute, ha-ha, cute? Cute how? What are we talking about here? Oh, no. How am I cute? How am I cute? So let's invite a couple of people from Toys for Tots in here. And we want to talk to people from Toys for Tots because they're doing some pretty cool stuff, right? Oh, man. Well, they are doing amazing things. But this year is pretty tough. I mean, we all know we're all feeling the crunch. And most specifically, I think people who are looking for these charitable causes are feeling the crunch.
really badly right now because people have less to donate and so they they are really struggling right now with donations and things like that so they need some help uh let's see we are welcoming into the studio staff sergeant russ how you doing russ it's good to have you in here yeah thank you i gotta have you talk really close to that microphone how are you today good good thanks and you guys uh right now it is tougher for you guys right oh yeah it's really slow for us because the economy That's what I'm guessing. Yeah, yeah. And so is there sort of a point where you're usually at and a point that you are actually at now? Yeah, well, usually we're being able to fill the orders that we've got. Right now, we're down below 50%. And so, yeah, we're really hurting. And so what is it that you're doing? You're asking people, if people want to give the Toys for Tots, where do they do it and how do they do it? There's all kinds of different ways. We've got drop-off locations all over San Diego. You can actually go to our website, and there's a whole list of them. We've probably got around 400 here in San Diego right now. What's the website? Toydrive.com. Toydrive.com. Toydrive.com. Okay, and so you can go there, and I'm guessing you can donate money, but what if you want to do some sort of a drop-off type of deal? Yeah, you can drop it off at any of those drop-off sites. Unwrapped. Yeah, new unwrapped toy.
And, you know, the thing that's specifically the Toys for Tots needs is, like, specific gifts because, you know, they have plenty of toys for, like, say, an 8-year-old boy. But nobody really donates, you know, for, like, the teens and, like, girls of a certain age. You know, those are the ones that you guys are really struggling with. Yeah, the girls 10 to 12, boys 10 to 12, teens, and toddlers. I mean, we're empty right now. Oh, wow. That sucks. There's also, we've got another, we've partnered up with UltimateRegistry.com this year, and they've got actually our wish list. And so you can go to that UltimateRegistry.com slash Toys for Tots, and you order a toy, or you buy a toy right there, and it gets drop shipped to us, and we get it probably within a day or so. Wow. That's a great way to do it. UltimateRegistry.com Slash Toys for Tots. Slash. I'm writing it down. Toys for Tots. Okay. Very cool. And, yeah, you know, I can see how it is, you know, with the economy the way that it is. I have not talked to one person that has been unaffected. It seems like everybody has been affected. And so, but one of the things that we don't do is we don't really think about, oh, yeah.
What about Toys for Tots? What about those charitable organizations? And one of a really sucky thing that I had heard about is that the Salvation Army had a flood and ruined about 1,000 toys that they were going to give out this year. So that has hurt the giveaways as well. It has. Well, Toys for Tots also backed that up. We were able to give the toys back to the Salvation Army. So we replaced all those. But, you know, that was... Now you've got to replace yours. Yeah, now we're looking at a big shortage right now. Well, if we can help, we would love to. And so we'll give that website out. Give us that website one more time. ToyDrive.com and Ultimate Registry forward slash Toys for Tots. Very, very cool. And, you know, San Diego's a great city. We've seen them come through like in the fires and that sort of thing. Right. So I know that San Diego can come together and get this done. Absolutely. And, yeah, man, we'd love to be able to help it out. So if you're a P1 and you're listening right now, and P1s are Mikey Show listeners, and this is the time where P1s shine. And so I would love to see them really support you guys and get some toys turned in so that some kids can have that kind of stuff this year. And, you know, one toy makes a difference to a child. It gives that one kid a Christmas. So this is one of those chances where everybody can make a difference.
That'd be awesome. Great. That'd be cool. Well, first of all, I just want to thank you for everything that you do and that you guys have done over the years. And this is a way for us to be able to give back in a time where they really need it. So, Staff Sergeant Russ, I appreciate you coming in and helping us out to get the word out. And we'll continue to give those website addresses out as the morning goes on so that we can keep getting that word out there. Thank you. That'll be a big help. That'd be very cool. Our phone number here is 570-1053. Our text number is 35253. And, Eddie, do we have time to do some stuff? Or do we have to go to break? Or what can I say? Let's go to break. We've got to go to break? Yep. All right. Quick time out when we come back. I've got a question. What shows do you not get to on your TiVo? Sorry. On your digital video recorder. Be careful. Be careful. What do I look like? On your digital video recorder. Yesterday, at the end of the show, somebody got really upset about us saying TiVo. All willy-nilly. Like, everyone has one. Not everybody has a TiVo, so they don't have a digital video recorder. Don't do that. Not everyone can do that. But what shows...
Do you not get to on your TV? Because there's some shows that they just sit there and you look at them and it says like seven new episodes of it and you've not watched one of them. What are they? 5701053. Talk to us about what your digital video recorder looks like. The Mikey Show. Oh, yes! Finding clothes that are stylish is hard. Finding stylish clothes that last? What's up, Mikey? What's up, dude? I have a monster truck.
I went to AIS, and they saved me. Basically, I had just a regular car before I had this monster truck. I have the monster truck, and I still save $600 every quarter, every six months on my insurance. I tried to hide my truck around the corner and just say it was a basic truck, and I started talking to them. They're like, what kind of lift do you have? I'm like, you know what? I got a nine-inch lift, and I got gas shocks and everything. They're like, don't worry about it. We'll take care of you. Football helps me to forget any problem in my life. Eddie. That booty is delicious. Sky. Oh, my brain is so bad. Today. Sean. Thank you. Be quiet. Boston Rob. I have a Rolodex in my mind. And Ashley. I'm a lady. The Mikey Show's on.
Welcome back to the Mikey Show. It is 934. Military officials approved emergency funding yesterday for the man who lost his family when a military jet crashed into their university city home. Corey Pavin is going to be named the new Ryder Cup captain today. Welcome back. We mentioned this before we went to break that there are some shows that end up on your TiVo that you don't. ever get to. They just sit there. Yeah, great, dude. You got a TiVo? You're so much better than me, dude. I get it. Hang on, Woods. I still have a beta. Stop it. You don't have a beta. You have a VHS. You know you have a VHS because I bought it for you for your birthday last week. Now you're just embarrassing me. You're spit.
You're spitting all over that tailored leather on my BMW. Yeah, dude, I'm spitting on your TiVo. Okay, great. You're so cool, Bauman. Listen, dude, it's not expensive just because it's a TiVo. Walking around recording stuff, dude, I get it. Walking around recording stuff. Dude, if you go into Goodwill today, they'll give you a TiVo. I'm charity now, dude. I'm not saying you're charity, dude. I'm just saying you can probably find one in the bottom of your pocket. There's probably an extra TiVo stuffed in my couch right now. You're so rich. I get it. It's not that I'm rich, dude. It's just that... Wait, record this, alright? That's obscene. You guys are friends. Come on. You're a good guy, all right? It don't matter. It don't matter if you don't have a TiVo, okay? TiVo, dude. Know what I'm going to stuff you're talking with this year, buddy? Don't say it. A VHS rewinder, okay? It's shaped like a car. Is it shaped like a BMW? That's right. It's shaped like a BMW and you pop the back trunk open and you stick the tape in there. That's classy. All right. You can rewind your tape, okay, buddy? You know what?
Is that you talking, dude, or is that your TiVo? That's my TiVo talking. That's awesome. It's so expensive. Let me rewind you. Hang on. It's great. Okay, pause. Great. Here, here, here. Season pass. No commercials. Look at that, buddy. How do you do that? It's amazing. It's great. Oh, dude, I love technology. So my... I would say that my TiVo stuff that never gets watched is, well, pretty much everything for me, but the stuff that I definitely don't get to is a lot of those cooking shows. I just do not get to those. I think I want to see them. I think I want to see them, but I don't want to see them. I never get to them. You don't make time for them. I have a show that I recorded the beginning of last year that has been sitting at the bottom of my list. Forever. And I'm like, oh, I can't wait to see that. And I never watch it. What is it? It was a show that I think was on the History Channel. Yeah. And it was called Batman Tech. Yeah. And it was all about the technology that Batman uses. Yeah. Right, right. And I just, I never get to it. That sounds oddly familiar to me. I want to watch it. It's awesome, man. It sounds cool. Let's go watch it. It does. But I have so many other shows I watch. I'm like.
When am I ever going to get to that? And my Bizarre Foods piles up. Bizarre Foods piles up. I have like six right now. You know how I have talked about how technology is not where it's supposed to be yet? If it were, if this were the future, you know how I said you'd have one device that does everything? You could be on the plane today and you could watch stuff from your TiVo. I'd love it. I think they might have something like that. Oh, man. That they have like a device that you can watch your TiVo stuff on. Yeah, I think it's called a sling box. Sean, do you know anything about that? Yeah, I know what the sling box is. But the sling box, what the sling box is, is the sling box, you can watch things from your laptop from like a hotel room. As long as you have a high speed internet connection. You gotta have high speed internet, yeah. You gotta have a high speed internet connection and then you can control. your television from anywhere in the world. And does that include your digital recording device? Yeah, I believe it does. Yes, it does. In fact, I believe that that's what it actually runs. It runs your digital recording device. So if you could have high-speed internet on a plane, then you technically could do what you're talking about. Yeah, you could actually. Yeah, you could do it with your laptop. But you gotta have internet. How is it, by the way? Like that.
would be the end all be all for an airline is to start saying we now offer high speed internet so you can work how many business people would want to fly across the country seriously connect to the you know do their emails do their in fact it'd be a great like right now a lot of business people they just don't have enough time in their day to get to all the stuff they need to get to imagine if you're on a four-hour plane trip That's all. You're going to be sitting there. You don't have anything to do. You could just sit there and do all that, you know? Word document. Here, here, here. Yeah, great. Word, great. Yeah, cut, paste. Yeah, great. Look at this. Excel, great. Oh, yeah, dude. Look at that. Oh, PowerPoint. Really good. Adobe. Skye, what do you have in your TV that you don't watch? Well, there are three shows that I just had to delete like seven episodes and cancel the season pass, which really hurt me because these are shows I enjoy and I've watched previous seasons of, but just didn't happen this time. And that is Numbers. Oh, why would you watch that in the first place? Hey. Sorry. Numbers. He solves crime at Matt.
Nothing scarier or cooler than a mathematician on the case. He figured stuff out. Quick, grab me that abacus. Hey, carry the one quick. Carry the one. This man's dying. I need the remainder. Get my partner the calculator. Clear. Visible body. Need an even integer. I need an even integer. Like four math geeks from UCSD just got that joke. Yeah, they can't stop. They're crying. The rest of us are scratching our heads. Sounds familiar. Also, Ghost Whisperer had to...
be retired, which made me very, very sad. Yeah. Yeah, I had like seven episodes with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Oh, I wish she had never heard of it. Great show. Great show. No, it's so great she doesn't watch it. Yeah. And then finally Pushing Daisies, which, yeah. Oh, wow. I can't. Okay, so, Eddie, what do you get to? I always watch Inside MMA, which is on HDNet. I always, well, let me think. What else is TiVo? Oh, I really enjoyed Hulk Hogan Celebrity Championship Wrestling. Oh, dude. Oh, yeah. That was exciting. That is weird. I watched that too. Weird. That was really good. Yeah. What else do I get to? I always TiVo ER. Really? Yeah. And watch it. And watch it. Sky. My new favorite show is The Mentalist.
I love that show. It's so good. It's better than numbers. It's like he's a psychic, but he's not. It's crazy. He's a psychic, but only with stuff divisible by four. Only subtraction. So when I have a list of stuff on my TiVo, I go to the mentalist first, and then I go to Terminator, Sarah Connor, Chronicle, Sex. That is a phenomenal show. Phenomenal. And third, I go to, oh, that may be a tie. I was going to say Beverly Hills 90210, but it could be Friday Night Lights. But those are all delicious. The only thing that I watch on my TiVo, and I have a bunch of stuff TiVo'd, but the only one that I watch is Jamie at Home. What the heck is that? What is that? Jamie Oliver's new show on the Food Net. Oh, man, what does that air? And I get irritated. It airs on Saturday mornings at 4.30 Pacific. There's a reason. And there's only been like eight episodes made, so I have pretty much all of them. And so I keep erasing them, you know, because they'll tape it again. This text message says, hey, maybe Sky should start burning TiVos to keep warm. Burn hundreds to stay warm. I was being sarcastic. Wow. Whatever. Let's see.
Oh, but I did finally get to watch The Ultimate Fighter. Oh, did you? That was something that was piling up on my TiVo. I haven't watched. How many did you watch? I haven't seen it. Well, Eddie, there was a little bit of a debacle. Oh, no. You're probably going to be just as mad at me as my husband was. What did you do? Well, so we had six episodes. And I was running around yesterday, but I wanted to watch all of them. But we didn't get to start watching until like 7 o'clock last night. And I'm like, okay, I'm not going to get through six episodes. I said, so let's just watch the last three. So I go to start deleting the three old ones. And I start deleting from the top. Oh, Sky. So I ended up deleting the final episode. So we watched the two episodes previous to the final episode, and then I had crazy dreams all night about it. Oh, wow. Yeah, because I watched the one episode where the dude fighting got his, like, hand stuck in the cage, and so his hand was all, like, totally swollen and crazy. I dreamt you guys were making out.
No. No, I dreamt that our traffic guy, Rick Lawrence, mangled up his hand and had to get it replaced with like Terminator parts. But he was like in serious, serious pain. And so it was like my cause trying to find him relief for his pain. I was very concerned. I was very concerned. I love the Terminator hands part, though. Yeah, I think it's a combination of the ultimate fighter, Terminator, and the new sweeping King book I'm reading. There was a little bit of all that in my dream. What would it be like if we could walk into Skye's brain? Money ham, money ham, money ham, money ham, money ham. So now I kind of know the fighters and I don't really know who's going to be fighting because I deleted the final episode. But it'll be interesting when we go to the fight this weekend. I want to watch it too. I want to check it out and see what we're going to see. Mikey, I missed a big chunk of the show because of finals. Why is Eddie missing the pregame? Is Hank mad at him? That's P1 Sneaker.
Eddie's missing him because Vegas. Yeah, we'll be in Vegas. That's right. And it's an early start, so I wouldn't be able to make it in time. I thought it was primetime. Oh, no. And you know that. You know it's not. You know they moved it out of primetime because it was a bad game. It's not even this game. Oh, I got confused. I was trying to insult you at the wrong time. Right. Let's take a look at that, Rob. How much money did we raise? I don't know what the final telly was. We've got to find out. Where did I go? Uh, Let's see. Whoa. It's cold. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my mom. There's no hair. No hair. Looks good, though. Looks a lot better. Nerd alert. You're so dumb. When you put the hat on, definitely a nerd alert. Oh. Let's see. Oh, no. Skye, what were the songs that we were obsessed with in 2008? Okay, let's get the list. Here it is. Okay. Sister Christian.
Absolutely. Love that. That was just me and you. Well, we listen to it all the time. No, these are new songs in 2008 that we were obsessed with. Like Tub Thumping and Sonny Comes Home? Sonny Comes Home by the way. Mambo No. 5. Mambo No. 5. Again, Eddie. These songs came out in 2008. One Week by the B&Ls. That's really good. Barbie Girl. Disco Duck. Barbie Girl or Disco. Yeah. What about Coldplay? I got it. Sky's favorite song. Wait, she needs to name the song. Yeah, what is it? Coldplay, Viva La Vida. Very good. Viva La Vida Loca. Number three. You're all wrong. What is it? Mike, the thong song. The thong song. Yeah. Popular wedding. All over. That's right.
Kanye West. Love Lockdown. Right. No Kanye or Rihanna. T.I. George Bush doesn't care about black people. Boston Rob and Jemima. Chris Brown. Thank you. Forever? Not forever. Chris Brown. Britney Spears. Circus Freak. That's not what it's called. I wasn't guessing. Run it. Chris Brown with you is number 10, Ashley. More than a feeling. Oh. Oh, yeah. What about that Lesbo song? Kissing girls. Yes. Katy Perry, I am a lesbian, is number one. Say that. Number one. Save that clip. Shut up. Holy cow. Save that clip of Skye. Katy Perry, I kissed a girl, is number one. Sipping on gin and juice. Oh, yeah, that one. That's not... Belle Biv DeVoe. Poison. Poison, dude. Lil Wayne Lollipop is number two. I didn't even know that was a song. Candy Shop. Great song. B-Rob Taco Shop. Oh, Sean. Great one. So money you don't even know it. You've been robbed. T-Pain. Hello, it's songs that came out in 08. B-Rob Palin song. Oh, yeah. Now you go. Yeah.
Fergie. Fergie, stop doing music. Give us one, Sky. Give us one. I don't know. What's on the radio right now, Ash? Spoon Man. By Fergie? No. Yes. Cheers. Womanizer. Wicked lame on the show these days. Really sucks a lot. Oh, well, something's never changed. So what? Yeah. No, I'm saying that about the list. Because pink, so what, is number five. Oh, good. I didn't care about it. That's great. Is that the rock star one? Is there any ace of bass? What else? What do we miss? You're missing number nine, the worst song ever, Kid Rock, All Summer Long. Oh, that's not the worst. It is. Pitcha. It is the worst. Yeah, what about Pitcha? Bah with the bah with the bah. Bah. What do we miss? You're annoying. Number eight, David Archuleta, Crush. Get out of here. That was not a good song. I don't even know what that is.
I don't even know what that is. Who's this list from? Oh, fine. If that's how the list is going to go, David Cook with I Love the Rainbow. What about T.I.? What about this one? You got on there? No. Such a good film. Which other one? Mike, you just wanted to hear this. I love you. Number seven, Beyonce, If I Were a Boy. Oh. These are like newer. Number six, Taylor Swift, Love Story. Soul Patrol. Yeah. The last one that you guys didn't get was number four, which is Leona Lewis, Bleeding Love. Oh, that's going to be number one. That's right. Quick time out. The Mikey Show. The Mikey Show. That's the ultimate hang zone. All right. His charm is so contagious, vaccines have been created for it. Years ago, he built a city out of blocks. Today, over 600,000 people live and work there. He is the only man to ever ace a Rorschach test. Every time he goes for a swim, dolphins appear. Alien abductors have asked him to probe them. Black dude weighs 155 pounds, but he's like 6'3", 6'4", something like that. So he's like a beanpole. And he fought last night on the undercard in the UFC fight, and they didn't show it. And there's probably a reason why they didn't show it. I'm scared. It was pretty gruesome as is. Well, first of all, Ash, when it first happens, and we're watching the video right now, but when it first happens, you don't really see it happen. You have to watch it in the replay.
But when they show the replay, now I want you to look at his right leg. This guy's right leg when the camera turns. Hmm. Right leg. Now, they're going to show in slow motion. Right leg. Right leg. What is she doing? Slow motion. She's sending out. They are now about to show slow motion. That leg. Right? Right? Right? What? Right? Yeah. It is bad. Terrible. Whoa! It looks like he turned into... And his leg was pliable. It was like he grew an elbow right there. Holy moly. But more flexible. That's an unbelievable video. Listen, I even told Sky, I said, even I can't handle something like that. I don't think anybody wants to see that. Because it just creeps me out. I can see...
knockouts, and I'm even alright with some bloodshed. It's gonna happen. I mean, we're talking some, you know, I don't know, gladiator stuff here, but the breaks creep me out. That's nuts. You know that they do because, like, remember Lawrence Taylor freaking out when he busted up, what's his name's leg? Theismann's leg. Joe Theismann. Like, here's a big, giant guy. You know, toughest dude, tough as nails. And he was like, had this scared look on his face. This was Monday Night Football when he, you know, caused a compound fracture in Joe Theismann's leg. And he's looking at the other team's medical staff going, come here, come here, come here, come here. You know, that's when you know somebody's freaked out. He was freaked out. That was crazy because in the slow motion replay, like as his leg hit the other guy's leg, literally it turned into a rubber band. And just literally, it was like the leg just wrapped around the other leg. That was insane. It was insane. And what makes it even crazier is that Joe Rogan. Does he freak? He flips out and he's like, he goes kind of into crazy throat, you know, when you're like, and. Like forgetting he's on the air. Forgetting he's on the air and he's just going, stop the fight, stop the fight, stop the fight, stop the fight.
How'd you like to be like 20 feet like he is from that? Like we're going to be Sky on Saturday night. Let's do this. Hit him harder. Come on. Come on, you wimp. That's right. Come on. 5701053. Give us a call. Beginning and end of every show, we do open phone segments so you can call in about anything you want. Tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen, we are broadcasting from Vegas. We will be at the Palms Resort and Casino. And it's called The Lounge, right, Eddie? That's where we're actually physically going to broadcast from. We'll be broadcasting from The Lounge. The Lounge. The Lounge. Oh, we got a new one, folks. We wanted to broadcast for them all, but it just didn't work out. Oh, we could just call it The Mall. That's right. Sky, you in on that? Patty Pupa. 570-1053 is the number. Mikey Show, hello. Hey, this is P1 Ludog. That leg break you guys were just talking about, what's the name of that guy? I want to YouTube it. A dude just sent it to me, so you could find it on the internet. What's the guy's name? Corey Hill. Corey Hill. Corey Hill. Great, thank you very much. Lee.
That's going to be a YouTube sensation. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Mikey Show. Yo. What's up? What up? What's happening? It's Ayo. It's not me. Oh, man. What it do? Is this Ayo or is this, I forget what name you were using. Futuristic Pimp. Futuristic Pimp. I think that's what he was calling himself. What's up, Ayo? Oh, man. You know me. I'm out here trying to get it popping like I'm a Redenbacher. You know what I'm saying? Wow. Wow. Yeah. Yo, I got a quick question for my man King John over there. What's up? King John. Yo, have you seen that show called Chase, like the video game show? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Man, I've just seen that for the first time, and I'm stuck. Why chuck on that dang stuff? Yeah, dude, it's pretty cool. What is it? It's like they take the basic concept of a video game where you are a player, and you're trying to avoid these, they're called hunters, and they're like athletes who they're all dressed in black suits, and they run around this sort of game area. It's about one, two, three miles square. And it's usually like warehouses and things like that. And you basically have to avoid these people for a certain amount of time while achieving certain tasks. It's crazy. Sean really has seen everything on TV. How does he know what that is? It's a fun show. Immediately knew what it was, what it's about. Fun show. It's on sci-fi. Okay. Of course it is. And I'll see you there. Thank you, A.O. All right. Be easy. Holler. All right. Mikey Show. Hey, man, I was just wondering, what is the deal with the bass player from The Cure? And you made a comment sometime back that that guy's out of control now. I was just curious. The bass player from The Cure's name is Fishy Waters. Uh-huh. And Fishy has been out of control now for about three or four years. What's his story?
Well, I guess the deal is he was involved in a mascara smuggling ring. Oh, no. That was coming through El Paso. Very dangerous. And they were smuggling, you know, they were, I hate to say it, it's a kind of sensitive topic, but they were mules. Oh. With mascara. That guy's out of control. With mascara. That is out of control. Yeah, and so you know how. It's not true. Obviously, just, you know, with the dimensions, it's very painful. Sorry, Sean. Depends on how it comes out. That's right. What? None of this is true. That's where we'll leave it. All right. Mikey Show. Hello. Mikey Show. Hello, Mikey Show. Oh, hello. Let's try again. Mikey Show. Last call. Bring us home. Hey, you guys. It's Penguin Penguin. Oh, there she is. Hi, Penguin. Hi, Penguin. I was kind of wanting to get out to everybody who is interested and kind of poor like me who can't afford to give the charity, you know, money this year. There's a really good website called volunteersandiego.org. And it gives an entire, like, calendar of events for all over San Diego County. And it's everything from giving toys to kids to feeding the homeless to, like, organizing food. And, I mean, it gives you everything. That's very cool. If you don't have money, but you have time, look at the site and sign up. Did we ever find out how much we collected for Rady's Children's Hospital? No, we still don't know. Okay. We'll find out.
All right, cool. Well, thank you for calling Penguin, and we'll announce on the show tomorrow, Mark, how much we raised for Rob and Rady's Children's Hospital. Lovely and talented Missy's coming up next, and she's got The Lost and Found, so she's going to be playing songs that you haven't heard in a long time, and we will be talking to you tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. live from Las Vegas. See you then. The show's out late.
